Amritsar

Amritsar is the breathtaking spiritual capital of the Sikh religion, and features some of the most fascinating holy sites in the world. This is known as the place where the first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji was born. Amritsar is also home to the Golden Temple, which is the most important Gurdwara (Sikh Temple) in Sikhism, and attracts tens of thousands of visitors a year.
