This places was so much fun. Took my 10 year old for a Christmas present. He loved it! The tour was fun and you get up close to the animals. The tent we stayed in was right across from the warthogs and antelope. Although it was cold outside we stayed warm in the text, thanks to the space heater they provided and headed blankets. Would definitely go back.

I have been here once before, and my family and I really enjoyed it. First off, the food is absolutely amazing. A couple things to note, the food isn't available to people who Haven't made a reservation. Even if you are camping in one of the tents, you still have to reserve dinner. Next, the Rooms are really great. They're a little hot during the summer days, but nights are still a little chilly. They have a heater, but we found it unnecessary. The only thing I would say about the rooms is the water is well water so it smells a little funky. If you're not comfortable drinking well water, buy your own bottles outside of the resort. Activities are definitely one of their strong suites. I have to recommend you buy a Safari in advance (2 months prior to your reservations).Notes on the safari. We brought water, sunglasses, and sunscreen. I highly recommend sitting on the top. If you want to sit on the top, make sure to tell your staff member leading your Safari. I really do recommend this place even though the prices are pretty spendy.

We LOVED it here. This has been on my Bucket List for 15 years, and it was SO worth it. We went as a group of 7. It was rainy and stormy when we arrived and cleared up overnight for our Safari Tour the next day. Bring warm clothes if you get cold easily. The tents are a GREAT experience (we chose the Hillside tents), and while the canvas tents keep warm, the attached bathroom is cold! The animals and birds are super chatty all through the night, so we didn't get much sleep (we didn't expect to get much sleep anyway, though). Staff are helpful and friendly. Dinner was great (even for me as a vegetarian and a guest as Gluten Free), the conservation talks are informative, the included breakfast was wonderful (including Easter Egg dying because we went Easter weekend), and our Safari Guide, Carson, went above and beyond our expectations. He was enthusiastic and passionate, and we were super impressed. You can tell he LOVES his job. You can see all the animals are very well cared for. We all had a great time. Thank you!!!

So disappointed! Only a handful of animals on the property. Several in old small cages. Bird aviary tour is short, but I like birds. Our tour guide, Sara did a great job. She was very knowledgeable about the few animals on the property and their history. The park's tour bus fumes will almost kill you they are so strong. No walking by yourself in Safari West. You'd be better off going to your local zoo.

We had a great experience with our 2 year old bud. First we spent the night in one of the tent where you can see the animals from the window and the bed was heated and there is a bathroom attached. We had also the dinner which was like home cooked meal followed by s’mores and that was fun. Then in the morning we had our breakfast and did the safari. The safari itself is amazing and we were so lucky to have our guide Richard he is well knowledgeable man and has a sense of humor. He put all his energy to make sure that everyone enjoy the tour. Totally recommend it!

Safari West was a great experience, one that I highly recommend you experience with your family and friends. The ideal time to spend would include an overnight stay at the nature reserve and a tour during the day. You can spend your extra time during your stay looking at all the wildlife and nature around you. It’s also a great opportunity to go for a nice walk, especially during sunset. During the tour, you can learn about all the animals at the park while going on a nice drive on a van and getting a close look at all of them.

Info on endangered animals was fascinating. Tour guide was great and you could tell the staff really care about the animals and birds. Very hot weather that day. There were multiple water stations with ice cold water available. Worth the price for animal lovers!

Visited with my wife and 6 year old for the Safari tour and it was one of the best experiences with animals we ever had. Not only you feel like you're in their habitat but you also learn a ton about each animal in your way. We had a couple of amazing guides and it was clear how each staff member cared about us having a great time and, more importantly, about all the animals there. We booked lunch right after our tour, which was convenient and delicious. Highly recommended!

A friend and I enjoyed a tour last week. It was a wonderful opportunity to capture some great shots of animals and learn more about them from the tour guide. I lived in Santa Rosa for 25 years and drove by the place hundreds of times but never went. What a treat!

I was super excited to take my daughter here but mildly disappointed. The 3 hour tour is roughly 2 hours in the Jeep and 1 hour of walking, which you can do on your own. The jeep ride was fun as we sat on top. Our guide was also great. The number and type of animals seen was disappointing. Two Rinos, about a dozen zebras, buffalo, some giraffe and lots of variations of antelope and birds. I expected Hippos, lions and elephants and a bit more African type safari. The walking section is basically a small zoo and doesn't take an hour unless you want a thorough education. Basically an overpriced zoo with a bit of a safari. Money was better spent on a Disneyland ticket. My soon to be 13 year old who loves animals gave it a 7 out of 10. Perhaps younger children would enjoy it more.

Arrived at park without reservation due to not realizing we needed one. Upon approaching the girl at the front desk we were greeted with rudeness. Trying to allow time to see if the attitude would change, I asked if my family could get in later and was given more snark with a price sheet as if insinuating in silence “are you sure you can afford this?”. As another person approached, we were again rudely asked to MOVE aside. It was like torture trying to get out of her another opportunity for us to visit the park. We ultimately decided to leave. Our departing comment from staff was to firmly insist we don’t take it upon ourselves to wander around the park ourselves. SERIOUSLY?!?! Who would do that? For future reference to management, if they bother to read this, I would suggest training the staff to ask in this situation for any other future openings with even a hint of politeness would be helpful. This park may be wonderful, but we will never go back to see after this experience.

This review is for the Safari West African Tour. This was such a great experience! Our tour guide was Kimberly and she was so awesome. She really kept me engaged during the whole tour and I learned so much! She also gave us opportunities to ask questions which just added more to the learning experience. The tour it self is about a 2.5 hour drive where she stops and speaks about the animals/plants in addition to being right in the enclosure with the animals. The second part of the tour was the walking portion where we got to see additional animals and walk through the bird sanctuary. Everything about the tour is spectacular. Kimberly even went as far as getting the kids who were sitting on top an umbrella from another tour guide. That was so sweet of her to go above and beyond. I will definitely plan to come on the different seasons or book an overnight stay. I highly recommend checking out Safari west!

Our safari trip was amazing, fun and your guide Nichole was very knowledgeable and fun! Room on antelope alley was cozy and view great. Fresh fruit plate while waiting for a fun buffet dinner was a nice touch. Smores later in the evening at the grill pit was fun. They have great attention to detail. Highly recommended stay-cation or vacation tour/stay. Newer Automatic gate for the safari vehicles worked perfect!!

Went here on a day trip/standard tour with the family and loved it. It's pretty much like going to your local zoo, but smaller and a whole different experience. You have to book your tour time online, check in at the main office. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour start time. Depending on the guide, you might load up on the visible vehicle right away and do a walking tour of some animals/bird aviary after, or it could be reversed starting order. The vehicles have a top seating section that guest could take turns on if there is more than one group that wants to sit up top. Guides will stop at several locations and talk/give information about animals.

I surprised my partner for his bday, it was a wonderful experience all the way around. Miranda was THE BEST driver/guide, she obviously has passion for the job and is so well informed about all the animals. She answered every question asked and shared some of her favorite things about the animals and working at SW. The tent was great; very clean and though it was cold the heated blanket kept us toasty warm. Highly recommended Safari West!

We took the 2 p.m., 3 hour Safari tour. It was a lovely trip and worth the cost for us. The animals were beautiful and it was fun to ride around amongst the beautiful green rolling hills. We booked on a Friday in the winter, so although plenty of people and full, I could see how the summer months could be stifling and feel overcrowded. We went after days of rain, so the hills were green, the creeks flowing, and the animals excited to be out in the sun with the new spring growth. Thinking it was a midweek, and less crowded, the process of splitting people into groups for the tours, seemed to take longer than it should have. We were told to check in at 1:45 & we didn't get into our tour to close to 2:30. Maybe during the busier times, they have more employees and it goes a bit faster. We also booked the buffet lunch before the tour. The lunch was tasty enough for the price, and you get plenty of food. For vegetarians, there wasn't a lot of extra choices. However, there was plentiful green salad & asparagus with mushrooms. My husband said the asparagus was too salty. The potato salad was full of mayonnaise, and they put sugar and pineapple in the ranch beans. If you're a meet eater, there was plenty of BBQ chicken and pulled pork, with little white rolls that you could make sandwiches out of. The tea, coffee, and hot chocolate was included. The plus about eating lunch there is you get more time to look out at the animals, which is really what you're paying for. Again, all of the outside tables were full, so busier times you would have to eat inside. The cost for booking on line, tour and lunch came to $274.27. Somewhat pricey for an afternoon. The bonus is, you can walk around as much as you want for that price. So we got there early and viewed all of the animals that were caged. Pretty much what you will get to see if you spend the night. Although, I'm sure the sunrises and sunsets looking out at the animals is beautiful. They put the giraffes in the barn at night, so you won't be looking out at them. Santa Rosa is close enough that you could find more cost effective lodging if you're worried about the expense. If money is not a concern, I'd be into spending the night. More time watching animals is always a good thing.

Took a family tour during a rainy day. Kids had a good time sitting atop the vehicle and got to see a fair number of animals. We were able to get close to the giraffes who were in an enclosure due to the rain. Guides were friendly & knowledgeable.

FABULOUS. We did the 3 hour afternoon tour and the entire team working there were so organized and welcoming. The animals were stunning. (Loved the rhino couple that were having a small domestic dispute🤣) Our tour guide Hale, was outstanding. She was so knowledgeable and passionate. I highly recommend Safari West to locals and tourists of all age groups! I am going to go back for a overnight stay.

I wanted my grandkids to get a taste of what it's like to go to Africa. Safari West exceeded all my expectations. The guides were fabulous! Loved the whole experience. Now I'm sure the kids WILL someday go to Africa and it will bring back wonderful memories of our mini vacation at Safari West. Thank you all! P.S. In my trips to Africa I never got to see rhinos with horns (they had been cut off to discourage poachers), so I was thrilled to see your rhinos with their magnificent horns.

My family visited today and absolutely loved it! Our youngest is 15 and we enjoyed the whole thing. The displays were very fun and also very educational. Absolutely loved the way the comic strips were incorporated into everything, including the bathroom walls!! And there is nothing more fun then putting four adults in a room and seeing who is capable of folding a red dog house and drawing the classic Peanuts characters!! What a great place for people of all ages!

Great museum to explore especially if you travel with kids. We had to change our road trip plans because of the weather and luckily weren’t too far from Peanuts or if you prefer Snoopy’s birth place. You’ll probably spend between 1-2 hours here strolling around the exhibition, watching cartoons, gifts shopping and even ice skating ⛸️. Yes, you got it right, there is an ice rink across the street where Mr. Schulz the creator of Peanuts liked to play hockey. Parking is free, also there is a small food court at the rink in case if you get hungry.

This is a cool museum with great employees. If you are a student don't forget to bring your student ID. There was no wait and all the route was filled with interesting facts and beautiful comic strips. This is a great place for kids, there is one room where you can color and learn how to make some origami figures. There is also one room where you can see movies! I saw Charlie brown in love with the little red hair girl. It was beautiful and really funny. There is one gift shop and just across the street there is one ice skating rink and one coffee shop.

Interesting and informative visit to this museum of the Peanuts cartoonist which ran from 1950-2000. Great displays of his work, and a replica of his work space. Docents were friendly and knowledgeable.

No trip to Santa Rosa is a complete without a trip to the wonderful Charles Schulz Museum, which does a terrific job of showing that Schulz was not just one of the best cartoonist of his generation but also was an incredible observer of human behavior and a believer in our best nature. The comics on the wall are so relatable because they depict scenes and situations that we all have experienced at some point in our life (waiting for a school bus, a class trip, playing with a dog, etc.). You cannot help but leave the museum with a smile on your face and a deeper understanding of the beauty and wit of Schulz's work.

Such a well put together museum, it’s not very big, but just big enough to definitely spend at least 45 minutes or more in. Depending on how much you’re really taking in everything. Theres a few cute picture spots to try out. Plus tons of little comic strips. They also have a really cute art studio upstairs that you can spend so much time in. All supplies is included, you can sit down and color a picture there’s a cool light table to trace characters on. Plus an origami instruction activity. I definitely could have stayed a few hours. It was such a cute time, adults are $12 per person which is also also super reasonably priced. There’s also the ice-skating ring next-door and across from it is a bigger gift shop. The museum gift shop is a little small. So I definitely recommend checking out the big gift shop next to the skating ring.

Did a side trip to this place from Rohnert Park on a girls trip since a couple of them are big Peanuts fans. Very cute museum to see which includes a little video discussing Charles Schulz. There are lots of original comic strips he drew and a creative room upstairs where you can color, draw, or do origami. The kite-eating tree is on the patio and lots of figurines of Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, and of course Snoopy.

We loved this museum. If you’re into Peanuts and the history of how it all began, you’ll love this place. So much great information here. The gift school could be bigger! We did enjoy the gift shop across the way though near the ice rink. This really isn’t a place for little kids.

After a day of drinking wine, we needed a break so headed here to the museum and boy were we excited! My husband and I felt like kids again looking at many of the comics and pictures. What's best, is the movie theater where you can watch some of the Charlie Brown toons! There are so many opportunities to take pictures and walk the grounds.

As you walk into the first floor, a huge work of art greets you. Even though it is a small museum, the place is great for people of all ages! It has a lot of art. One can find art all over the place from the first floor to the second floor, walls, patio, parking lot, and bathrooms. The staff was friendly. Also go with enough time to enjoy the place so you can see every detail.

This is a nice little museum celebrating Charles Schultz and his Peanuts Gang. It takes around an hour to walk through and enjoy all the comics and history. The gift store is small but you can head over to the gallery (3 minute walk away) for a bigger selection including reprints of the comics. It is worth the $12 entry fee.

This was a small museum with some interesting info but not as much as I would have liked. Appreciated the comic tiles in the bathroom and the large ceramic pieces outdoors. Was hoping to learn more about each Peanuts character. Also hoped for a bigger and better gift shop. Parking is plentiful and adult tickets cost $12. Not a mask in sight but there was space to spread out as well as an outdoor area. Was in and out in 30 minutes.

Loved it! Stop here and pay homage to all the wonder of Charles Schulz and his Peanuts legacy. We learned so much about this remarkable man, artist, and community builder. The Warm Puppy Cafe, ice rink, and museum are a great way to spend 2-3 hours or a whole day depending on your interests. We had hard to impress teens with us who had real smiles and a spark of enthusiasm here. That is a true 5 star experience! So much to take in from the history of cartoons, to the life story of "Sparky", and the Peanuts as cultural icons and truth speakers. Lots of engaging tour guides and volunteers around eager to share antidotes. Seeing the actual studio of this artist was a real thrill. Lot of cool interactive surprises here like the kite-eating tree and great photo spots with Peanuts characters and cartoon moments. Really worth a stop for people of ages, even if you are not a Peanuts fan, you will be by the end of this visit.

A small but really fun and interesting museum detailing the history of peanuts and its creator Charles M. Schultz. The exhibits featured lots of his original drafts and panels and is a really fun insight into the origins and creation of the comics. The exhibits rotate every 6 months, so there is always something new to see. There are activities such as a movie room for watching peanuts movies and a room to learn how to draw peanuts characters. A lot of photo opportunities both inside and outside the museum. There is an ice skating rink across the road and a gift shop that also has some really fun peanuts pieces from the past. Staff are some of the best I've seen at any attraction and will go the extra mile to make sure all your questions are answered. I was surprised at how much fun I had here and will be coming here again in the future!

The most absolutely adorable museum paying homage to Charles M Schultz. It's a small museum packed with a lot of information. It's reasonably priced. There are items in this gift shop that they don't carry in the other Peanuts Gift Shop located by the skating rink. They also have an auditorium that showcases some of the cartoons depending on what's playing that month. It's a great experience if you decide to come out this way and plenty of parking. It was also nice to be here on a weekend, but with not a lot of crowds.

A lovely diversion on a beautiful California day. We were pleasantly surprised at how much this reasonably small museum has to offer. We had a great time and would recommend anyone who has a passing interest in Schultz’s work to drop by for a visit.

Very very worthwhile experience even for adults 😆 every single photo booth was so cute. I was very impressed with the tiny exhibits inside the lightened walls, such a creative and delicate way of delivering art. There was a cute cafe too -- you have to collect a Snoopy cup!

Love this place! Such a hidden gem. so many people didn't know it was so close to Sonoma and Napa. A great place for kids or grown up kids who grew up with snoopy. Takes about 3 hrs to see the museum. next time will go skating there. there's a large gift shop on the campus that's in addition to the small one in the museum.

Wine and food pairing experience 5 course meal included wines with it. They gave us some extra wine for tasting as well. Food was pretty good. Presentation was amazing. If you don’t like certain things you may not like some dishes but overall the food sensory experience was amazing. The wines were ok. The heavier reds were better than the appetizer wines. Enjoyed the experience and the presenters were great. I personally loved the Turnip soup and fall flavors they included. Beautiful ambience. And we saw a rainbow

One of our favorites and always a must-do when we make it to wine country. We love it so much that we have been wine-club members so we can better enjoy their wine tastings, their 5-course pairings, and their beautiful property. The staff is always welcome and friendly and they make delicious wine. We look forward to it every year and would suggest making a stop to experience their world-class dining room experience!

The wines are fabulous- Chardonnay all the way to Zinfandel. The winery has a beautiful view! The wine associates doing the tastings are very knowledgeable. Overall one of the best experiences we’ve had all week- enough to become wine club members.

We walked in on a Tuesday and were able to get a table outside for a tasting. Stunning scenery, relaxing downtempo music, and all the wines were great (we like bold reds). Christina was very attentive and knowledgeable. She provided just the right amount of history and information, and also brought us some off-menu wines that she thought we would like. After we bought a bottle (of the 2018 dry creek zinfandel), we wandered around the grounds. Perfect way to spend a few hours.

Haley was an amazing wine educator. We really enjoyed our time learning from her. The estate pairing was wonderful. We loved the polenta cake dish. The chef definitely knows what they're doing. The wines could have paired a little bit better but all of the flavors were so good. We will be back for the full wine & food pairing someday!

I've been going to Saint Francis regularly; luckily I live nearby. I love having the tasting experience with Maria, she's so much fun and very knowledgeable. Recently we had a vegan/vegetarian food and wine pairing event, with farm to table concept. We had a wonderful time, we can't wait to do it again! The food was delicious, so were the wines. We had the privilege of meeting the farmer, James. Our host, Jared was very attentive and was able to answer all of our questions. The property is breathtakingly beautiful, don't forget to take a stroll before or after your tasting!

Wonderful experience. We did the Vineyard Adventure (self-guided walk) and the Estate Pairing. Kevin was a great host. The Estate Pairing is very well crafted, the food is delicious and the wine selection is extraordinary. The cherry on top was Kevin’s attention to detail and very personable service. We can’t wait to come back.

This was a great Winery visit! Started with the free vineyard tour - took about 30 minutes and got to see the grapes on the vine and taste them! Self-guided so you had to read the description at each of the 11 stations Then the incredible pairing. Each course was masterfully prepared. Even if you don’t like wine, this is a great experience. There were about 20 people in the tasting and each course was fantastic! I’m actually not much of a wine drinker but the experience is exceptional. See photos of the menu and each course. I can’t recommend highly enough!! We also met some great people who will hopefully be friends.

We had the most amazing Estate Pairing experience yesterday at St. Francis. The food, the wine, the service was all exceptional and not necessary in that order. Maria greeted us most warmly and made us feel comfortable. Then we had a generous splash of Sauvignon blanc poured by the friendly and professional Sharon in the tasting room. A few minutes later we walked down to the outdoor seating where our table was ready for us exactly where we preferred: at the edge of the area so our view of the beautiful scenery was undisturbed (see first picture). Kevin, our host with the infectious laugh was cordial, answered all our questions and introduced the wines and the foods paired with them enticingly. I appreciated that the chef accommodated my "no pork" preference, while the others in my party got the unmodified version. E.g. you can see in the second picture my polenta-mushroom-pesto-butternut squash item in the front and the other two (with bacon), family style, in the background. I am sharing the printed menu and picture of most items. Aren't they all beautiful? (And they were delicious too). After our wine/meal we lingered in the garden's rocking chairs for an hour as we were blessed with sunny weather. All-in-all it was a fantastic day, thanks to the people, the excellent and potent wines and the yummy food that went along with them.

What a great wine experience. Beautiful view as as sampled wines on their back veranda overlooking three vineyards and mountains behind them. Wines so delicious we had to join their club! Myra was an awesome host and very knowledgeable about each wine she poured.

Love this place! Fourth time enjoying the pairing. Everything was excellent including the hosts. My favorite winery. Can’t wait til we come back again next year. Counting the days.

What an amazing experience. The staff, the wine, the food, all excellent. I did the wine and lunch pairing and it was top notch quality and service. If you're thinking about it, dont....just go!

Nice calm atmosphere. The Rough Go trail is exactly how it sounds like. The entire trail is paved with rough rocks. You will find many cyclists along the path. I was able to see deers, wild turkeys, geese and California King snake along this trail. Not the most exciting, but good for a good walk.

Great place for a scooter ride, bike ride, walking the dog, bird watching, and you can fish and camp here too!

I just did a quick stop here and was amazed by this park. Will definitely come back to explore more. Looks so beautiful. Update There's a children's science discovery center in the park as well. It was great and kids loved it

I can’t believe I live so close to this gem. I love running the different courses, and there’s some elevation/inclines to help with training. Rent out kayaks, canoes, a local swimming hole (seasonal), camping, and so many trails to hike/run. The fishing is great too! It may vary of course, but it’s such a great experience. Great family fun for everyone.

Spring Lake Park is an excellent place for a walk with the dog (on leash), a jog around the lake, kayaking, a picnic at one of several picnic areas with tables and grills, nature photography, or a place for the kids to play. Lots of scenic views on the trail around the lake. There is a $7 fee for parking unless you have a parking pass. A good place for a quick getaway in nature. We will definitely be back soon!!! 😎🐕🐾🐾🐾

My Mom, Sister and baby niece went to Spring Lake to pick blackberries and we had a wonderful time 😍. There are so many places there and we only made it to a few, but had such a great day. Niecey had her first blackberry there, she was adorably messy. Lovely lovely lovely.

We had our Redwood Empire Chapter VVA #223 picnic over in the Jack Rabbit Run picnic area. Had about 100 folks show up, was a Fabulous day!!🤙🎈🌞🍺⚓🇺🇸😎🌭🍔

This is a very convinient location for camping. I is gives you a wilderness feel, while being very close to the urban area. Facilities :restroom (hot water, clean) , camping area generous space for cars and tent. Things to do: fishing, kayaking, swimming lagoon, small fun water park, hiking, biking... Ample to spend couple of days or more. We spent two nights, definitely will return.. For more..

We hosted a family picnic (50 people) at the Oak Knoll group picnic area amid a summer heat wave. There was plenty of shade at the group picnic site and it did not feel too hot. Picnic tables were in great condition. Making a group picnic reservation for the site was very easy. A few members of group also walked ~5 minutes to lagoon and paid for the water park. The kids loved it.

Nice wide walking and biking paths. Includes interactive exercise spots along the way. Lots of benches to sit and enjoy the view. Lovely little lake, as well. Very nice park. My grandson and I enjoyed our time there.

We didn't see the entire park but what I did see was very beautiful. Nice picnic areas. It seemed to be dog friendly and hiker friendly. The restrooms were stocked and fairly clean.

I lived in Santa Rosa in the 1990s. I had forgotten what a purely magical.place the Luther Burbank Home & Garden was and is. The place is tranquil and the blossoms were beautiful. It is a sacred environment to be grounded and feel at peace.

Came here during January, the plants are dry. Good for a short walk but not much to see. The good thing is you can learn about the famous Luther Burbank's plants.

Beautiful gardens, I am a little early (mid-April), tgere are still some blooms and I can see it will be fabulous in just a couple of weeks.

This garden is a wonderful get away in central Santa Rosa. It's peaceful and beautiful. Whether a 15 minute walk or sitting on a bench for an hour to take it all in, this garden has something for everyone.

Sad looking historic place with lots of potential. Gardens were pretty but not well cared for. Property is open to anyone so there were several homeless wandering through.

Guys come on it's Luther Burbank gardens ofc i have to give 5 stars this place is legendary you'll never EVER see so many plants in one place i guarantee it no money back 100% satisfaction ULTIMATE garden experience.

So lovely. A little garden in the city centre. Very informative about the plants, house and the man himself. Entrance to the garden is free of charge. The House is closed on Mondays.

Great place to spend an hour! We wandered the grounds and read about Luther's life and dedication to his botany. We were here in early April so the roses have not bloomed yet. There's an option to take a tour, although we didn't go on it. We parked close by in the neighborhood, although this is close to the mall so you could park there if you can't find street parking.

I enjoyed seeing a number of volunteer workers caring for the grounds. My third trip here and the grounds are all I have seen. Beautiful variety of flowering and non-flowering plants.

Very cute tiny garden, but it's for free. The staffs in the visitor center were fantastic and explained best places in Sonoma.

Although when we went there it was already after 4pm and the houses were closed, we had a very peaceful and nice walk. It is a peace of history. Luther Burbank worked with new types of plants, some eatable and others just flowers, but beautiful. There is no specific parking lot and no restrooms. Worth a visit though!

It was a lovely day to walk thru this beautiful garden. The roses are so pretty, and there were many other spring flowers. You can take a tour of the house and grounds. I had done it before, so not on this day.

We chose this place because of the lavender farm and it did not disappoint. Beautiful landscape, the smell of the lavender was awesome. The wines were really good. I’m not a white wine drinker but I ended up buying a few of their 2018 Knights Valley Wine it was that good. Our host, Nicole, was amazing. She took time to not only give us the education she was supposed to give but also spent extra time answering our unique questions and giving great recommendations for other out of the way wineries she enjoys in the area. You can tell she truly loves her job and that makes for a great place to visit! Highly recommend!

We had booked a wine tasting session here which we thoroughly enjoyed. For the novices we were when it came to wine tasting, it was a bit of a challenge to understand the process. But, it was a great experience and we learned new things about wines and how they're made. In particular, we like their Chardonnay. They offer a cheese board with wine tasting which is $30 when we visited. That's a nice touch to the experience.

It’s a very nice and right size of winery with a self tour lavender garden. We selected the picnic table with 50$ reservation. And this is refunded with 4 bottles of purchase. I would say the 2018 Sauvignon Blanc really surprised me with refreshing taste. I also really love getting out to the fields of lavender lands!

Amanda was great! The wine and views were amazing! We became members because it was so good! Great red blends and Chardonnay.

We arrived around 9:30 and while the tasting room doesn’t open until 10 the gate was open and we could explore the gardens before it got busy with people taking pictures. By 11 the parking lots were filling up and the tasting bar was busy (a Saturday). I didn’t do any wine tasting as I really wanted to see the lavender. Bought some lavender honey which is great! Not a huge place but nice to sit and relax in the shade for a bit. There are areas to picnic.

Had a lovely tasting here! Sat outside on their deck and enjoyed a tasting. The wines were wonderful. They were fantastic. One in our party doesn't like red wines, so the winery offered other white wine options for their tasting.

I'll leave the wine reviews to connoisseurs, but for years I regularly take my friends and out-of-state visitors to the winery during the lavender season. Sitting among the winery's lavender fields is like being in southern France without the hassle of travelling.

This winery has fantastic views and a great patio to enjoy them on. The lavender fields were beautiful and smelled fantastic. It was a bit awkward when my group first arrived. There was an older gentleman working there that just stared at us and did not acknowledge us at all. However, the host was quickly able to seat us and our wine expert was very polite and knowledgeable about the wines. She gave us an extra pour and overall provided great service. I liked the 2020 Jackson Park Vineyard, savignon blanc.

Excellent experience with the staff. Both knowledgeable and friendly, Matt guided us through a wine and cheese (and fruit and nut) pairing selection, helping us to understand what made each pairing work. The wines stand out on their own, but also work amazingly well as the pairings.

Really nice winery with many outdoor area to enjoy and both white and red wines. They have Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay for whites and pinot noirs. They also sell cheese and crackers there you can enjoy outside. Nice staff also! Great place to enjoy an afternoon with some wine and food!
