Beautiful little gardens feels very authentic. There. There are lots of little spots off the path where you can sit and just enjoy the serene beauty. Highlights include the little buildings themselves that are very oriental and make and seem quite authentic. Unfortunately these gardens are quite small and for $11 entry it almost is a little too expensive. It's more like a $5 entertainment for maybe an hour maybe an hour maybe an hour maybe an hour Max

Incredible Japanese garden tucked into a suburban area of Rockford. One of the most beautiful, well maintained, and thoughtful gardens I have been to in a long time. Full of amazing little areas to discover. There is also a restaurant on site and an amazing gift shop selling all kinds of cool Japanese items including snacks. This place is well worth a visit even if you have to go out of your way a bit. The craftsmanship and care is incredible. Admission is 13 dollars for adults.

Enjoyed feeding the fish and birds, the gardens were breathtaking, and the buildings were so nice. There was a lot of musty smell to the buildings, but they were absolutely gorgeous. I loved the little hidden gems, too.

We visited on the last weekend of October and had a wonderful time. The grounds were well-maintained and there was lots to see and experience. The map was helpful since it was our first visit. There are frequent benches and seating areas which makes the route as peaceful and restful as you want it to be. We spent about an hour and half strolling the gardens. I will say, drinks at the coffee bar near the restaurant were super overpriced and serves in an unprofessional way, but everything else was top notch!

The organizational flow in the garden is very efficient. There was a shortage on parking, so extra parking lots were sourced from the area, with two shuttle going back and forth all day long. The restaurant offers a fair variety of foods and drinks, that were really great! Little events were staged all afternoon, and some were really educational, apart from the entertaining aspects and soothing live Japanese instrumental music. The garden itself, though not styled to present many flower types, was full of exquisite greenery, calming areas, flowing streams, waterfalls and ponds. lending itself to peaceful, contemplative states of mind. We were also able to purchase beautiful kimonos and garments for men and women. A full experience that we will return to, for certain!

These gardens are absolutely gorgeous and so well maintained! I highly recommend visiting here as well as the nearby Laurent House (designed by Frank Lloyd Wright). This was my first visit, and I would love to come back in the spring to see everything in bloom.

Garden was beautiful. It is not the biggest garden out there, but definitely worth the visit. The gift shop has a nice variety of items. The walking trail is great, and having certain parts handicap accessible is a plus. Make sure you buy some fish food to feed the fish and ducks, it's a fun experience to have.

Love this place, they even have little sections where you can take photos. Its breathtaking and gorgeous. Got some neat pictures with my fiancé and my brother. We chose this location because it sounded cool and it was amazing! Ive only met my brother twice and I am so glad that me and him got to see this place as one of our meet ups!!! 💗

It's been over 10 years since I visited Anderson Gardens and it's just as lovely as I remembered. The volunteers in the garden were helpful and the gift shop was filled with items ranging from tea sets to candies and treats that your anime loving friend would enjoy. Despite the heat and lack of significant rainfall everything looked great and there was plenty of areas to get out of the sun.

It is an excellent place for relaxation with the family. If you are a fitness conscious individual, you will definitely get your steps here while enjoying nature. If you plan on staying for a couple of hours and you'll hit lunchtime, try to eat first before strolling so you won't have to join the crowd at the cafe during lunch hour. They have good food at a reasonable price. Expect to spend at least $20-$25/person for food. Once you are energized after a visit to their cafe, you are ready to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

The gardens are well-maintained and easy to walk around. There are plenty of benches where you can sit and relax and enjoy the scenery. The gardens are a great place to visit for a peaceful walk, a romantic stroll, or a family outing. It is a lovely place to visit. Anderson Japanese Garden is a beautiful out door setting that inspires the mind and energies the soul. The Anderson Japanese Gardens is a 12-acre (4.9 ha) Japanese garden located in Rockford, Illinois. Established in 1978, its home to many species of colorful fish, minks, and ducks. In the "Garden of Reflection" beetle traps hang over the water to encourage these fish to surface for food. Professional photography is only permitted after hours with management approval, but amateur photography is encouraged. There are also many forbidden paths that lead up to the Anderson home. March to May is best time to visit. All the beauties you can capture during this period only. Entrance fees is very very reasonable for spending whole day. In weekdays its $12 max. kids below 5 are free. In weekends its $13 max. and kids below 5 are free Special rates for seniors and students on all days. This is a hidden gem out in the suburbs. Located in Rockford which is quite a drive from the Chicago area. Tickets for an adult are $11-13. I only came here once just because of the distance but I wouldn’t mind coming back in the summer. They have alluring, breathtaking waterfalls here and koi in the ponds. Just a reminder, this place is for relaxing and being stress free. They do have a restaurant but I didn’t eat there. On their online menu, I noticed it’s not very Japanese oriented. Parking is sufficient, it doesn’t really get busy here.

Totally worth the time to stop by here. The gardens are lush and well-tended and it makes for a nice outing with anyone, or all by yourself. The attached restaurant is quite nice and delicious though a bit pricy and there’s a gift store you can get some interesting things in.

Perhaps the most extraordinary garden I have ever had the privilege of visiting. I cannot believe this is in Northern Illinois--I felt like I was back visiting Japan so many years ago. We visited in May of 2022 in what may have been one of the best seasons to visit. I've been itching to go back and see what else they accomplish in other seasons. One can get peacefully lost for hours in this place.

Had a wonderful time at their Illuminated event. From the light display, to hot chocolate and woodfired pizza - it was a great way to kick off the holiday season! Love coming here!

Beautiful park. It is smaller than maybe some other gardens but definitely worth checking-in and strolling around, especially now that the fall colors are so spectacular!

From the outside I wasn't expecting much, but I was so so wrong. They had so many exhibits and fun things to learn and do. My kids loved it and even after playing for 2 and 1/2 hours there were still not ready to go. And the extra dollar per ticket was totally worth it to see the special exhibit. It is a must stop for those with kids. Especially on days that are well into the 90s and 100s (it was cool inside on a super hot and muggy day).

KIDS LOVE THE MUSEUM! We had a wonderful time here at the museum. The fun way to teach science with play was exciting. They have many different exhibits for engaging kids. They do offer a huge outdoor playground. The pretend play rooms were equally fun and popular among kids.

Went here with daughter 12 and son 11 for pumpkin smashing event. Kids had a blast watching the pumpkins flying through the air and a staff member pummeling pumpkins with a giant mallet. Afterwards visited the museum which we had been to before for some additional fun. Due to COVID pandemic you did need to buy tickets in advance and for slotted entry time. There was a crowd and most were following safety protocols.

This is such a great museum with TONS of hands-on learning experiences! If you want your kids to experience everything this place has to offer, you need to plan on being there for a while! The outdoor area is very unique, so make sure you go on a day that enables your kids to play outside, too!

Another great visit to Discovery Center! We love the grocery store/bank area. We played for an hour in there itself. I even have a little driver now!

Spent a few hours here with my grandsons. What a great hands on place for kids! There was so much to do and explore. There was also a huge outdoor play area for the nicer weather. Highly recommend to bring the kids here!

My five kids, ranging in age from two to eleven, had so much fun here. The outdoor playground impressed my kids and occupied them for a long time. There is plenty to do inside, too. I'm not really sure why they don't just charge $11 to get in and make Discovery Town part of the museum. We paid the extra dollar per person and my kids loved it. I would never skip it if we went back and for a buck each you may as well. We didn't arrive until after 12:00 pm and they close at 4:00. In the future I would arrive as close to opening as possible since my kids didn't have time to check out all the exhibits they wanted to see. There is definitely enough to do to fill a whole day. Definitely a good value.

Great place for kids and adults alike! A small amount of the exhibits are out of order and overall it could use some maintenance, but this place has a lot to see and do regardless. We had an absolute blast trying everything we could, both indoors and out. And very reasonable pricing to boot. It was definitely a memorable experience and worth the trip.

We visit Discovery Center a few times each year. The environment is clean and engaging for kids from toddler through adulthood. My children enjoy both levels, and our favorite part is the awesome playground connected to the museum. (Seasonal) The only issue I have with this place with is price of admission for adults. As we are merely supervising, and the children obviously cannot go alone, we HAVE to be there.

We have a Peoria Playhouse membership, so going here was free. Boy were we surprised when we saw how HUGE it was! There is cool stuff for kids of different ages to do around every corner. This has to be the most comprehensive play center we've ever been to. The only thing they could use is something to eat while you are there, because it's easy to spend hours there.

We enjoy all the fun interactive ways to learn and play here. It brings out the kid in you and it provides new learning experiences for the whole family, for anyone regardless of your age.

Love it here! Only thing I could wish for is a working coffee area. My son loves the light table and we got a lot of fun out of the winter event! There are different areas to explore, we had older children with us and once he had fallen asleep we spent nearly 2 hours upstairs in the fitness area!

Wow! We loved this place. It just didn't seem to end, one exhibit after the other! And there was so much to do upstairs, too. Great for my 2 year old but I think a 10 year old would have just as much fun!

Fantastic children’s museum. My 7 year old grandchild is obsessed with the “smoke bubbles” and didn’t want to leave. We spent 6 hours here and he could have easily spent a few more. Worth the trip and worth the $10 price tag for all day entertainment if your child is in to STEM and science. I’d you have. A child who is more in to jungle gyms and physical play, this might not hold their interest for long.

I loved this place 40 years ago! and now I took my Grands! They loved it so much! Wonderful areas for discovery and creative play. They want to go back. Staff members are so friendly and lovely. Highly recommend. You can take lunch and eat in their lunch room. Reasonable entrance fees and free parking.

This was so much fun! The outdoor play area is huge, and both floors have so many activities! This was also great for my older son. He has aged out of so many children's museums, but he loved this one!

A perfect Friday afternoon outing with my dad. The train display that ran through the foliage added an extra pop to the plants. Don’t miss the kaleidoscope planter. So many unique plants, playful koi throughout the waterways, and a nice set of trails to get in and around it all. We only explored indoors, but it looks like the lights at night must be breathtaking. We spent a little less than an hour and felt like we had seen it all.

I love going to the Nicholas conservatory! Me & my daughter went to the butterfly exhibit and watched a video and made crafts. Hanging out with the butterflies while they were flying around was awesome!

I drove by and saw the gardens while I was in from out of town on wedding errands. An indoor location for wedding photos with a beautiful garden sounded like a great plan so I went inside and Chris (I believe that was her name) was at the counter was super sweet and excited to show off the facilities for me and helped me talk with Leslie to discuss the whole thing. Walked through the inside during the winter while they had their orchids on display and it was GORGEOUS. So thankful that the team was so sweet and enthusiastic, it just made my experience at the gardens that much better.

Beautiful conservatory complete with holiday decorations. Love the "flowers" that were hung from the ceiling. So pretty. The holiday lights were beautiful!! Would love to come back and see the gardens in a different season.

We visited the conservatory out of curiosity. It is beautiful! There was a neat little area for small children to play. The wide variety of plants was nice. For Christmas, they built several small train tracks weaving through the garden areas. The outdoor Christmas lights were also beautiful and are for a nice walk.

The gardens are beautifully maintained and publicly accessible year round. There are seasonal displays and art installations on occasion, as well as some permanent features. The gardens are just off the bike path/Riverwalk and can be a nice addition to your walk. This is also an excellent location to take seasonal pictures or pictures to commemorate special events. I do wish the conservatory would have some days/times free to the general public.

It's a pretty place and looks well-mantained, but I wish I hadn't paid to go inside. It's just the one big room with mainly very typical plants you see at every single conservatory and sold as houseplants. Nothing particularly stood out other than the temporary art exhibition going on. If I had actually looked anything up beforehand and seen that the grounds were free to view, I wouldn't have gone in. The grounds were a nice little walk and it was cool to see some swans swimming in front! But not something to go out of your way to see unless you've never been to a conservatory in your life!

It was great! So beautiful. The butterfly exhibit is awesome and educational. The views off of the water and water features were absolutely breathtaking. I can't wait to go back!

This place caught us by surprise. We were driving past and saw the conservatory and the outdoor Gardens. For $10, it didn't disappoint. Tons of lush and beautiful plants inside and koi. The outdoors was very relaxing and beautiful aswell. I will return.... 💟 Also it's right by the river and the scenery is relaxing. Come see for yourself.

It was Monday so we were not able to visit the actual conservatory. The surrounding gardens and fountains were beautiful. Our visit was very refreshing both physically and mentally.

Absolutely breathtaking views outside as this runs alongside Rock River. Inside, I enjoyed the Koi pond just as much, if not more than, the gardens. They just brought so much peace! I expected a lot more inside, but not bad considering it only cost $10 per person. I would like to come back for the butterfly exhibit.

Amazing place to visit during early spring. The greenhouse has a lot to offer ranges from seasonal flower to tropical trees and colorful fishes. A few parks are also close by next to Rock River. Super cool!

This place is so beautiful, especially, during the Christmas Season. Walk the trails along the water’s you step inside a magical world of Christmas. Have fun with the kiddos trying to find Rudolph as you explore. Above all, don’t forget to go inside for the “town-like” train tracks. The observatory itself is so relaxing and therapeutic. Nicholas Conservatory has been a garden that I've frequented many times. I've been going here since I was a child and it's perfect for walks, bike rides, and just relaxing near nature. I've gone here for a couple events such as the lanterns, and holiday lights. I recommend coming here if you have a love for nature and spending time outdoors!

We visited on a NSLD day! The toddlers loved the build a train car activity. The staff were so helpful, patient and friendly. We enjoyed the gardens and the trains were so fun. Perfect nature hike medicine for a January afternoon. The koi were a big hit with the kids. The floor is slippery and wet in a few spots, so we practiced lots of redirecting and slow walking. Everyone took giant naps after. Ten out of ten, would visit again. What a gem!

This is always a beautiful public holiday light show for families and friends to enjoy. Everything is done meticulously down to the last detail. A magnificent view if you’re looking for something special to see this holiday season. This runs through January 6th, 2024 and it’s free!

This was my first time here & I absolutely loved it. I am a garden fanatic so this was right up my alley. We visited on a weekday & there was no wait & only a few other visitors in the garden. It is very warm & there are misters running for the tropical plants. The plants were labeled which I appreciated. The art/sculpture installations were beautiful as were the paths, stream & coy fish. Moving outside was also great. I took so many pictures while exploring the grounds. This visit can probably be fairly quick for some but for those fascinated by flowers & plants - plan for a couple hours.

Great museum with lots to see and learn! It’s got something for kids of all ages (and adults)… from hands-on areas and live animals for little ones to lots of educational content that can be read. I’d definitely visit again.

Family favorite to visit. We homeschool our 10 and 8 yr old so we have a membership here and take advantage of their amazing classes and events. All the employees are friendly and eager to help answer questions whether during a regular visit or one of their events. They have a wonderful hands on area for younger kids, live reptiles and plenty of info at each exhibit throughout the museum.

I will admit that it was fancier and nicer than even I thought it would be. Which was good because I at first balked at the ticket prices, but in the end I determined that the ticket prices pretty well matched the museum. It was a great place for a variety of ages.

An excellent museum for the whole family. I've gone twice with my bestie (the last time with many children) and both times were a blast. They've got a number of unique display on local history and some covering specific cultures that seem to rotate which is cool, and the mainstays - the dinosaurs - are of course, fantastic. You're encouraged to touch many displays which is fun for adults and children alike, and they even have a separate room where kids can play and parents can chill. I was a bit disappointed by the wing closures on each of my visits (diff wing each time), and sometimes it was a bit confusing to get to new displays without backtracking. Altogether though I had a wonderful experience, and would recommend for a day trip at least.

We really enjoyed the friendly, educational atmosphere at this museum. They had some really cool things that you might only expect to see in bigger cities, but it was relatively small and easy to get through in a couple of hours with the kids. It was simple to find and there was easy, free parking. Not sure if it's someplace you would want to visit a whole bunch of times, but definitely worth checking out at least once.

Me and my daughter had a blast at the Easter egg hunt! We really enjoyed the different exhibits and the staff were great and knowledgeable. Beautiful museum that I recommend for families, a lot of hands on experiences throughout the museum. Go meet Tortilla!

Great museum in the heart of Rockford. I took my four year old daughter there to see Jane the juvenile trex skeleton they have. It was both of ours first time there and it exceeded my expectations. It's not a very big museum but they try to include as much as possible. It took us about an hour to get through it all but I knew if she was more interested in reading the information about things it would take longer. I look forward to taking her back when she is a little older and can have an even greater appreciation for the history.

My nephew had his birthday party here. The kids loved it. They got to meet some animals and touch them. They learned interesting facts about them all. Then they were able to explore the museum and ended with a fossil dig. It was great.

Needs a few more "hands-on" things for the younger kids. But overall was a good educational experience for all.

Loved it. It's a smaller museum that is perfect for younger kids with shorter attention span. Museum has a number of exhibits and what I like is that it shows the recreation of what Rockford area looked like during a particular time period. One of the new employees of the museum provided a private tour of sorts. Museum pricing is fair and price of the books I bought was cheaper than Amazon. We bought a family membership. Customer service was great. All interactions with employees were highly positive. Overall I would rate it as highly recommend.

Perfect for a museum for kids of any age. My 4 young kids enjoyed their time here. Easy to navigate through, staff was super informative. Stroller friendly, not for a double wide stroller. Definitely will be coming back.

This is a nice little museum. It's better than many small museums I've visited. The staff is active and engaging. They were a joy to talk to and knew what they were talking about. We will definitely be returning here again. We called ahead as we were visiting on 12/23 (the eve of Christmas Eve) and they were open, and not very crowded. We were able to take our time and enjoy the exhibits.

What a delightful little museum, perfect for those who can't tolerate hours of informational overload. The fossils are impressive and well-described, and the interactive bits are fun. Little kids would love connecting the old dinosaur bones with the living reptiles on the top floor.

A lovely museum. I was struck especially by the triceratops skulls/fossils they have--I have never seen such a collection in numerous natural history museums I have toured. Worth a visit if ever in the Rockford area.

My family and I decided to make a trip to explore the area. We all love history so we decided the Byrpee was the 0lace to visit. While getting ready to enter the building we seen an care taker with a Tortoise. First one I've ever seen in 35 years. My children were amazed. When we entered the facility we were excited and greeted by staff. There's 4 wonder floors, thousands of things to see and explore. I would say on floor 3 there's a few exhibits that need some tlc. I feel overall the museum was fun and educational for my children and I. Bathrooms are clean, 2nd floor needs some repairs. The price of admission wasn't horrible.

The museum is a unique 3 floor experience, lots of cool fossils and the animals upstairs were probably my favorite part minus the giant snake. Afraid of the Nope Rope, if anyone has seen videos on Facebook with taco reacts, you’ll know what I’m talking about.

What a delightful museum of natural history! Really informative, interesting displays that emphasize the context of Rockford. Well-maintained exhibits. I spent the afternoon and was impressed with everything we saw. Highly recommended for an enjoyable educational experience for kids and adults.

The museum is alright lots of local history and cool local artifacts. Also inside they have a recreation of early Rockford. What I was really looking forward to was checking out the village itself. While I was able to walk around the buildings there was nobody there so the attraction lacked a little bit. Yeah stupid I asked at the front desk and they said that their main hours of operation for the village itself are may through August I highly suggest coming during this time to see what this establishment restablishment really holds. I will try to come back when they are in full swing so I can get a better chance to get a feel for what they have here.

The Queen of the prairies ( Rockford) is absolutely fascinating all the stories that this city holds. I was stunned with the wonders this city has achieved. I really recommend this local attraction.

The tour was an amazing learning experience! Its pretty cool to learn about the way they used to live in the 1800s I recommend this place just make sure to arrive on time for the tour!

The Midway Village Museum is a must-see when exploring Rockford, IL. My husband and I had less than 30 minutes to walk through the museum on an early-July Friday afternoon. We paid $9 for each of our tickets and hustled through the museum to see as much of it as we could. The main attraction we visited was the exhibit on the AAGPBL. It was smaller than expected, but the artifacts were well worth seeing- trophies won by the Rockford Peaches, baseballs and their size change throughout the length of the league, uniforms, and souvenirs collected through the decades. The museum is probably one of the best I've seen in a small town. There were so many exhibits and so much to be learned about the city of Rockford. We learned that the sock monkey originated here and also how significant of an industry-leader the city was back in its day. I hope to return one day and take our time walking through and learning about the rich history of Rockford. The children's town was AWESOME! We could have spent much more time in there as well. If kids learn more effectively with engaging exhibits, so do adults. The space was clean, staff professional and helpful, and they even have a full giftshop.

It's way bigger than I expected. Walk through the history of Rockford with well curated exhibits. I learned lots of new things about Rockford. Great for all ages. If you are a Rockford native or visiting then this is worth the trip.

Amazing museum. Looks small on the outside but is huge on the inside. A great place to learn about local history. The WWII event was beyond words. The living village and volunteers are all top notch. Will visit more often and will definitely watch for future events.

Nice little museum & village of local history including industrialization, manufacturing, immigration, transportation and of course the Rockford Peaches. Honestly I wish they had more of a dedicated exhibit for the Peaches.

We LOVE Midway Village! An amazing place in Rockford to share our city’s history and history in general! World War II days is THE BEST! I highly recommend you find and event and mark it on your calendar to attend!

Amazing museum-with so many wonderful exhibits. Their old homes and village are interesting for adults and children. We have been coming here for years. The grounds are beautiful. The guides are knowledgeable and make the tour fun. Too big to get through in a day. What a treasure!!! (Donations accepted during the week---the weekend I'm not sure of the price.)

There are no words to describe my experience with the Midway Village. I knew I wanted to have my vow renewal out at this location after attending my sisters wedding here. The price was amazing compared to other venues we shopped around at. The list of caters to choose from were reasonable and the location was absolutely beautiful. Lisa is the wedding coordinator here and she was absolutely amazing she responded quickly to all my messages and I was able to book a year in a half in advance and she always kept me informed of any changes and when I wanted more information was always happy to help answer all my questions and needs. It lightly rained on our event date but we were still lucky enough to have our vow renewal in the garden as we planned and Lisa made sure everything was set up and kept on track. You are able to decorate the day before the event which helped alot. We had our reception in the barn and its beautiful and has its own rustic charm and they recently had fans installed in the barn so the barn tempter was absolutely perfect. The staff here at the Midway goes above and beyond to make sure your advents go as planned. This definitely took alot of stress of my shoulders and made the event run smoothly.

Other than the employees giving dirty looks for some weird reason it was a nice family wedding. Re: People pay for services rendered on a very special day in there life's not to be looked at like you hate your job, understandable employees get busy but didn't see another wedding the hole time we were there n driving around on a golf cart with phone playing music picking up garbage bags doesn't seem very hard. I work 7 days a week and haven't had a day off in 20yrs. Maybe just teach your employees good demeanor and smile 😃 is all I was trying to say! Customer's not always right but to reply and say I'm wrong just shows what I'm talking about changed to 1 star would've gave 0!

This was my first time at this theatre and I have to say, it is perhaps the most ornate and beautiful venue I have ever been inside of. When you read about the history of this space it is jaw dropping and then when you arrive and step inside the lobby doors you immediately feel the presence of so many souls. Your eyes go from here to there and everywhere looking at the architecture and decor. A tour of the venue would be something worthy of paying for. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house and can't wait for my 2nd trip to see my next show in this awe inspiring space.

Such a fun place to see a concert. Acoustics are unbelievable. Love the old feel and all the history behind it.

Great history! It is absolutely amazing inside. The sound was really good. Not a bad seat in the house. Don't park in the ramp! You have to pay and hard to get out after the show. A lot of parking on the side streets.

Beautiful theater. Definitely a must visit for anyone in the Rockford area. The parking garage and organization of events is well orchestrated. One of the most beautiful theaters.

Absolutely gorgeous theater. And they've really done a lot of work to the outside over the years too. It's a lot more well lit and clean out front than it used to be. The inside of the theater is incredibly beautiful. Sound quality was good too.

Beautiful building. The decor was awesome. I think asking 15% minimum tips is crazy when you only get 2 bottles of water but it was still one of the best theaters I been to.

The Coronado is, hands down, the most beautiful building in the whole of Rockford. Entering this space is like stepping back in time and is a remarkable piece of history. The architecture and decor is a gorgeous reminder of the splendor of old. Everyone should take the chance to experience a show in this place. From musicals to rock shows, ballets to comedy, they host something for everyone. I also want to mention that the staff here are very helpful and informative. Always leading with a smile and they do their best to accommodate any need or question.

The architecture here is amazing. Cost 1.5 million in 1927 or something like that. Can only imagine what that would be now... the acoustics here are superb. It's a must attend venue.

It was my first time going. I moved out here 2 years ago and this was on my wishlist. I was blown away by the finest detail. This is a true historical piece of art. I heard back in the day Kennedy spoke here and Sinatra also performed here. I'm sure other well known people have visited or performed. I hope to see another show here one day.

Excellent venue with great acoustics, friendly and helpful staff, easy parking across the street. Great spot to see a concert. This was my first visit, I will gladly return in the future.

Beautifully restored historic theatre. Saw the Moody Blues last night ( July 18, 2023) . The seating and view of the stage from the front row of the upper balcony was great. 👍👍👍👍👍 Saw the Floyd Nation Experience tonight , Oct 28, 2023. The music, laser light show and the beautiful Coronado Theater made for a perfect evening. 👍👍👍👍👍 Just bought tickets to bring my son to see Get The Led Out on Saturday Feb 24, 2024 at 8 pm. 😊

Very nice, historical theater in downtown Rockford. Plenty of bars and beer coolers around. I was here for a Charlie Berens comedy show. Great show, Great crowd, and great atmosphere. Many unique woodcarving decorations. The bathroom urinals seem to be original to the building. Very old.

A beautiful theater. They streamlined the ticket a parking process ahead of time, so we didn't have to worry about anything besides showing our tickets when we go there. It was clean and an overall enjoyable experience.

Went to see Charlie Berens. The building is beautiful! The seats were comfortable. Womens restroom is huge. No complaints!

Lovely experience every time we go. Theater staff is always friendly, theater is always clean, and the shows are great. One of the few things to do in Rockford that's still reasonably priced for a night out.
