This experience was first class. It is a bigger winery than many in Napa. However we were treated very personally and while we planned to just stay for an hour it ended up being two hours because we enjoyed our time, the service and the sparkling wine so much. We did the Terroir tasting and that was perfect. The property is newly renovated and stunning.

This is the influencer winery due to their scenic property and contemporary tasting room. Was able to come here on a Monday during their Bubble Bar event, where their wines were served a la carte instead of a tasting. Reservations are required, as they did turn away plenty of people who were trying to walk in. Since the winery is owned by Moet & Chandon, the winery is known for their sparkling wine and I was not surprised that most of their product did taste like Dom Perignon. Everything was decent, but I would say the Mt Veeder sparking wines were better than the others.

Most of the grounds were under construction while we visited, unfortunately. For a big house, I think this is what you would expect. Our wine guide was very nice, though. They had a vegan cashew cheese mushroom pizza that was so good! Though, they were out of the oysters for my partner, which was a bummer. Vibes were okay, sparkling wine was okay.

Absolutely racist and nasty staff. Right before my turn, he was serving some folks and we saw him chatting happily. Attitude changed 180 degrees when he had to serve us two asians. I asked if he could explain the drinks and what he recommends, he gives a one liner and says “it’s up to you.” Probed again to ask to provide more details of the drinks, he gave a frustrated look and give a one liner. I wonder why is there such a difference in attitude? Granted, scenery is beautiful but the staff whose name is Jesus, is just plain rude and takes away the joy of a supposedly beautiful experience.

Since I love champagne, I really wish I could have given this place 5 stars. My bestie & I visited here in Sept and the weather was perfect for sitting outdoors, which was where the tasting was - and you don't have a choice. A little odd I would think, since you're paying for it. We were treated to some small bites along with each tasting. The staff wasn't very friendly or personable. Lovely grounds but they didn't seem to flow smoothly, they were detached. I did enjoy the time and the champagne. Of course the only restroom is in the retail store, lol. I bought a few bottles and found later I was charged twice, not too nice. Add a little more charm and this place would be worth another visit, construction or not

Fantastic wines and very friendly service! You can’t beat the scenery. It is absolutely beautiful and I feel like I can spend all day here. I appreciated that the staff allowed us to relax and enjoy our wines and we didn’t feel rushed at all. It’s also near my favorite bakery (Bouchon). I can’t wait to go back again!

Chandon was an amazing experience!! Such a beautiful courtyard and facility. Part of it was closed to renovation and one of the pinnacle flight champagnes was out. Without asking they refunded half of our tasting fee. A great place to start or end your day in Napa. Thank you so much, Chandon!!

This was an absolute highlight for our trip to Napa! Very well priced options and the ability to just walk in and enjoy a few glasses with the view. Incredible quality and outlook. I could have gladly sat here all day!

Our group wanted champagne so we included Chandon in our itinerary. For our visit, much of the building is under construction so we were outside. The grounds are nicely laid out and the bubbles are great! We are looking forward to when the work is complete so that we could have a more complete experience.

One of the best tastings I’ve had in wine country. I highly recommend the adventure tasting as it’s a “choose your own” option. Service what phenomenal even for the last tasting of the day. No rush to leave and left with a great bottle purchase (packages beautifully). Loved the light bite menu, especially the macarons. Would highly recommend to all my friends! Must-go in Napa for sparking!

A little mix up at the beginning with our large group was quickly resolved and we had a lovely time. Delicious food, great staff, and top notch ambiance. Would recommend and can’t wait to come back.

We got here later in the day. It's a good size beautiful winery. The service is very good and professional. The raw oysters were delicious! There was a open bar as well as the wine tasting bar. We had a wonderful experience. After wine tasting, we took a stroll around the back and took lots of pictures.

Overall, it was a great experience. The Educator who led us through the tasting was incredibly knowledgeable. The tasting pours are very generous. You are also given “small bites” that pair with each glass.

They take walk ins on Monday and it was an amazing experience! We will be back

Lovey service. I came in solo with no booking. They managed to scrounge up a cheese plate (requires booking usually) as well as tailored the wine selection as we went to my tastes. With a few bonus tasters at the end. This is my only Napa valley wine tasting so it’s difficult to compare. However every wine was well balanced and would probably suit most tastes. Above all the service was impeccable whilst remaining friendly and casual. Which suited me perfectly. And the location is perfect. Right inside Yountville. Easy to get to by bike or car.

We had the best experience at Jessup! We were referred by a friend and it was a cute tasting room in town that is also an art gallery. It was nice to break up the traditional winery visits and the wine was wonderful (especially loved the cheese pairing) and Laurel was absolutely incredible. Ended up leaving as members to send some Jessup wine back to DC. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Wonderful experience with the Chocolate Lovers Tasting. Whitney was our server and went above and beyond. She was very informative about the wine and region. Highly recommend a stop here. You will not be disappointed. We left with wine, the chocolate store’s address ( yes we went and purchased some!), and even a candle. 😀

I have gone wine tasting in Napa previously, and this was the first time that I got an education about growing, harvesting, and making wine. I always thought white wine was made from green grapes ... geez ... wasn't I wrong!!! The valley has 3 different climates, and terrain was explained with visual and verbal cues. Depending on where the 🍇's are grown, the outcome in quality and taste differs. Some had earthy notes, others, berries, and honeysuckle flavor and scent, and my favorite was the sweet desert wines. I really enjoyed pairing red wine with dark chocolate. Made sure to take some home to enjoy in the future. I will also never take the type of wood that the barrel is made from for granted ever again. Jessup is a small winery but produces a wide variety of wines to suit all tastes and preferences. Our host, Jett, was knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, and a great conversationalist ... he made us feel comfortable from the very start of the experience. The decor is cozy, classy, and welcoming. I would surely do this again. I would give it 10 stars if I had a choice and will definitely refer others here.

Very accommodating. Wine is above average for Napa. They have a “table for four” Cab that is very good. We greatly enjoyed our visit!

So dog friendly its like bringing them to your mom's house... felt like I could just let them dog-sit if I had to! One of the best winery experiences we've ever had. The wines were, of course, great, but the surprise show-stealer was the cheese pairing. Phenomenal. Thank you, Whitney.

We had wine educator Adrienne Pares come to our home in Georgia and lead a tasting for 30 of our friends. The event was a huge success, with many cases ordered and 3 families joining the Jessup Wine Club. The wines are expertly-crafted, full of flavor, and delicious. Everything from initial contact to the tasting to follow up was first-class and personal. We would definitely host such an event again and again!

Jessup is such an amazing winery, and the experience in the tasting room is absolutely amazing. I'm leaving the a 5-star review for both quality of their wine as well as the exceptional service in their Yountville tasting room. Their Table For Four is the BEST RED BLEND EVER! My wife and I joined the wine club more than 12 years ago just to secure 4 bottles of that liquid gold, and we recently visited again to relive one of our favorite Napa Region tastings. The staff somehow has become more and more knowledgeable of the history of the region, and can share perspective to the wines that you're enjoying. Brightest whites that we had on the trip, best-tasting reds, I wish them continued success and growth. Can't wait until the next trip, would recommend them for anyone visiting the region.

We had a wonderful wine tasting with Sam. We booked the classical tasting - with 5-6 wines, accompanying cheese, nuts and in our case dried fruits. Since we were traveling a bit spontaneously, we made a same day reservation by phone - that was no problem at all. The wines were exciting, the accompanying dishes well chosen. Sam delighted us with his expertise and passion for the products. The tasting room itself is modern and tastefully designed.

My favorite winery I visited while in Napa Valley! Sam Cook was my wine curator and was extremely attentive and gave recommendations and spoke to me about wine and the area on a level that I understood. I cannot wait to come back!

Have to post a review, mostly on the Wine. My wife and I visited back in 2013 for our honeymoon and remembered a delicious and enjoyable tasting in the tasting room. On this trip we purchased a bottle of 2009 petit sirah ,and it's been through a move and mostly just sitting in our wine cellar. We opened it last night to have with dinner, it was definitely a "pick a random bottle" kind of night. We didn't intentionally sit on this bottle for this long, our tastes have just changed to primarily cab over the years,and this often was passed over for something we knew/remembered. Let me tell you this has cellared phenomenally! It saddens me this was the only bottle we bought, or at least held on to for this long. The tannins were still there, in a soft and smooth-dry kind of way on the finish. Fruit notes of blackberries or blueberries. There was a definite leathery flavor, and the mouthfeel was velvety and full. Well done, cheers, and thank you!

Excellent wines only available here or through their wine club. Walking distance just north of shops in charming Yountville. Pretty place with art on walls that for sale. Very knowledgeable staff committed to their quality. It’s a little known kind of hidden gem. They make just limited amounts of very good wine. Going there is like being in on a good secret.

I had an amazing tasting with Laurel. Her knowledge and incredible enthusiasm for Jessup shines through with every interaction. If you want to have a relaxing no pressure afternoon, you should definitely stop here.

Okay guys, this cellar isn't rated 4.8 for no reason. Their customer service is top notch, I meant the whole team, especially our curator, Sam Cook! The guy is f* amazing! (Of course, in a good way) he did everything right; excellent customers to my spouse and the kids, even offered replacements on tasting we thought doesn't fit our taste buds. Ha ha. Kudos!. I will definitely be coming back, may consider membership.

Jessup continues to be our favorite winery in the Napa/Sonoma area. The wines are flavorful, the staff knowledgeable and VERY friendly, and the atmosphere can not be beat. I would recommend Jessup AS YOUR FIRST STOP in the Napa area, to set the "bar" at the tasting and service level all the other wineries must meet.

08-11-22: Napa is in an odd place right now. You need an appointment to wine taste most everywhere. It’s good to know Brad from Pina who referred us to Janie at Gooscross. Amazing tasting experience. Beautiful setting and great wines. Yes, I’m buying a case of Chardonnay, 2 State Lane Merlot and 2 State Lane Cab.

All I can say is WOW! This lovely winery is located in the center of the valley with a beautiful tasting room and an incredible back deck with a view of the valley that takes your breath away! Kitty was terrific and we truly appreciated her hospitality! They really payed attention to detail, with our names on the table and a personalized tasting menu awaiting our arrival. They are truly a class act! The wines were all amazing and we made some lovely purchases. Highly recommend the experience and can't wait to go back!

Started our private wine tour today at this beautiful winery. Bob was excellent we learned so much and wished we stayed longer as the other winery's we visited were not as knowledgeable or welcoming.

Nice time and ok setting. Arrived with 8 and they wouldn’t let my baby (in lap) sit outside while we did the tasting. Our fault for not reading the confirmation email fine print, but even Yountville locals who sent us there were a bit taken aback by their unwillingness to budge (citing everywhere being dog friendly. so why not a baby outside on terrace?)… only 1 other table of 2 were there in the entire place … Nice people and overall OK wine (all reds on tasting menu, half we enjoyed) - Have felt more at home in other settings so wouldn’t return.

Excellent place! We brought our two dogs and they were so welcomed. I cannot remember our wine stewards’ name, but she was English and absolutely amazing. So warm, welcoming and friendly. Cannot say enough good things about this place.

The Rose was the highlight of the tasting. The staff was very friendly and the setting was pleasant. The Pinot was undrinkable, syrah was below-average and 21 Napa Cab was not +$90. I didn't think it was possible for a winery in Yountville to produce undrinkable wine. For $50 per tasting, it was a robbery. If you're reading this review, try Crescere Pinot and Sangiacomo chardonnay.

We thoroughly recommend Goosecross winery. We booked at short notice and the lovely lady on the phone was very accommodating booking us on a tasting that very afternoon. Our host was Janey and she was an absolute delight; we love wine but are not aficionados and Janey provided an accessible, interesting and highly entertaining experience. The wines were superb, we particularly enjoyed your Zinfandels and the State Lane Cabernet Sauvignon and the Chardonnay we purchased without tasting has also proved to be a joy. It's a beautiful place! ...but service was not impressive. There was a good variety of wines. cheese board was very nice, & beautiful weather for February. The server was okay but seemed to disappear. Perfect place for a date. Nice outdoor fireplace, rock walkways, and chandeliers. Bathroom was very small. Our girls' day was definitely nice. I wished I had dressed up, though. The beauty of the place makes you want to match it!

Beautiful inside and outdoor decor! Lots of grey photo opportunities. Wine tastings are from various wineries… choose from white or reds. Or grab a glass before eating dinner next door. It was a bit windy the day we went and some how the wind knocked down the menu which knocked down the two complimentary champagne glasses which then spilled all over my pants. Long story short, it dried and our server felt bad she took off one of the tastings. It was not there fault but she did a very kind gesture. A+ move by there wine vault staff.

We went here for second wine tasting must say it was really wine! The place ofc has beautiful furniture ;) It’s different from different wineries since they source the wine from different places so you are not stuck to one brand and can try different good varieties of wine 🍷

Not to be confused with the restaurant which was teaming with activity, but the wine vault for tasting was a very underwhelming experience. Service didn't explain anything on the wines. The classic tasting menu wines were just terrible, we got one white and one red and struggles to drink each and every one. Maybe the good ones are in the more expensive options. The cheese platter lacked the quantity of meats I was hoping for but the cheese was not bad. You can do much better wine tasting experiences in Napa

We saw this our last visit and wanted to try. Our server was not very involved in our tasting which is why we rated it lower (to be fair we came on a Tuesday). I would say they have a good selection and is a great way to test a variety of the local wines. Very pretty atmosphere we loved the outside tasting and great to be in the heart of Yountville.

Staff was amazing, very friendly, helpful and engaged. Me and my husband try to lightened the mood when we noticed people and their up tightness towards the staff. Lots of flies buzzing around, birds flying in and out of the restaurant. The food was meh, pesto was good, shrimp was overcooked, wine was great, you want a great cappuccino and freshly baked cookies go see "Oscar" best waiter ever.

This place topped all our expectations! The ambiance and decor is something you would wish what your home looks like to welcome family and friends! Food was 8/10 and the menu is shall. We had the papperdelle and drinks are good. They list more small batch wine companies vs the well known brands.

When I say my jaw dropped upon entering the RH Wine Vault, I am being 100% serious - what an inspired, romantic place! The wine selection felt curated, the atmosphere was divine, and the staff were helpful and friendly - if you're in Yountville, you have to check out RH and the RH Wine Vault!

Let me start with the lovely contemporary atmosphere of the building. The stone finishes, chandeliers and the decoration creates a sense of peacefulness and serenity to the guests. RY offers an amazing selection of wines of the region. Rh creates an astounding and delightful experience for all their guests.

Our second visit and even better than the first. Cherese was our host and was so knowledgeable and personable. We brought my parents and a friend with us and we all agreed it was one of our favorite stops of our 3 day trip. Wine is excellent. Price point is great. Tour and story were icing on the cake. We contemplated ending our membership but after this visit it will be one we hold on to

My family and I recently visited Cliff Lede and we were very impressed with our experience. From the gorgeous views and scenery to the staff, the entire visit was excellent. The tasting was reasonably priced and we were greeted with 4 fantastic options and a bonus wine to try. Our host, Jose, was incredibly knowledgeable and provided us with the history of the Vineyards, Napa Valley, and the wine we were enjoying. Jose made sure all of our needs were met along the way and provided a warm and welcoming environment. All of the staff were accommodating and we had such a great time. This is a hidden gem and we will be back for sure!

Had a wonderful time at Cliff Ledge Vineyards! My husband and I booked our wine tasting in advance for the two of us but had out of town family join last minute. The winery went above and beyond to accommodate extra family members with a huge warm welcome. Michael gave a great customized tasting for all us and shared history of the musically themed winery. Anthony had outstanding customer service, chatting about wine and travels. Cliff Ledge Vineyards offers a variety of serial great wines ranging from whites to reds. Perfect for our family day because we all have different taste. Would definitely recommend this winery for a friendly, fun and energetic experience!

I cannot recommend this vineyard enough! We were quite overwhelmed with the number of vineyards in Napa, and were recommended Cliff Lede Vineyards by a local we met the day prior. The whole wine tasting experience was a 10/10. I have never sat in a more beautiful courtyard whilst drinking exceptional wine and learning all about the vineyard and it’s family oriented history. If you are reading this review, please book it you won’t regret it.

An exceptional Covid wine tasting. We did the VIP tasting and the wines were truly incredible. Highlights were the High Fidelity and Diamond. The Poetry is magical! Our host Jason was well versed, conversational and ensured we were comfortable during a slight sprinkle. Do not miss out on this thoughtful and curated experience.

This was one of our favorite tasting experiences in Napa Valley! We went for a private “backstage” tasting experience and our guide, Bill, truly showed us a wonderful time. On August 8th, we booked our tasting appointment through our hotel Vallagio concierge. We had such a wonderful time there tasting their wine. Our host Barbara was attentive, warm and knowledgeable. Their garden and sculptures were beautiful, and even our two boys really enjoyed looking at their artwork and their well maintained facility. After putting down our shipping order, we received email with tracking number next day. By the time we got home, we signed our delivery. Not only their wine is delicious, but also their customer service is top notch.

Beautiful vineyard and wines. Outside tasting space was comfortable and memorable. The reason I took one star off was that the table we had was unstable and the top surface was not smooth for wine swirling. But it’s a good place to enjoy some delicious wines for sure.

Cliff Lede Vineyards is a must do in Napa for wine tasting. The grounds are beautiful, the wines are outstanding. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Tim was our host and he did such a great job of providing information and backgrounds on wine, the vineyard, the owners, vision, etc. We were so lucky to find this place. It was a wonderful time!

Our favorite winery! The most knowledgeable tour guide and favorite wines. Scott was fantastic and we learned so much about wine making from planting to processing and tasting! We got a membership, we loved it so much! They ship to Chicago :) Very highly recommend!

Very informative tasting, but the presentation felt rushed and scripted. We were also the only couple doing a tasting at the time and wines were pre-poured. The wines were good, but not worth the extra price tag compared to other tastings in the area.

This was our first wine tasting in Napa and Mike set the bar. He was extremely knowledgeable as well as personable. He explained the vine making process with such detail but also made it very relatable. The only thing I would change would be the option to order palate cleansers or small snacks. Otherwise this was a top notch tasting.

This is a beautiful winery with arguably some of the best wines in Napa. From the time we arrived to the time we left, Jan treated us like royalty. He was fun and knowledgeable as he walked us through the process. We learned a lot and enjoyed the whole experience. And the wines! Oh the wines! They were probably the best wines I've ever had. Unfortunately, this was also the very first Napa winery I ever visited so the rest needed to live up to this one. A difficult task indeed. I would go back to Napa just to visit Bell Wine Cellars again! Highly recommended.

Superb experience, beautiful grounds, and Mike is wonderful! Bell Cellars came highly recommended by another tasting room as I love cabernet. Mike is incredibly knowledgeable and a pleasure to have explaining the wines and answering our questions about the area in general. He hung out with us at our table right next to the vineyard - gorgeous, fun, and learned so much!

We came to this winery as the first stop on a tour and it was our favorite wine of all the ones we visited. Even our driver, Jim, when I fretted about buying wine at our first stop told me that it was the place I should def. spend my money. The man who did the tastings was super knowledgeable and we really enjoyed all we learned about the regions and varieties of grapes. I'll be back here again for sure!
