One of the nice architecture of Georgia crossing the mtkvari river in the heart of the Tbilisi city connecting old city. In the night there will be beautiful LED light show. You can have nice wonderful view from the bridge. As this is in the central place of Tbilisi it is easy to access and you should try both night and morning.

Excellent peace bridge. Constructed with steel and glass. Crowded area, one of the best destinations and landmarks for travelers. It is in Tbilisi and nearby many places are there. Careful full with private travel agents. They will ask for more money for trios and rides. They will come and disturb us frequently. Don't give them any money. Directly you can handle.

The structure of the bridge is honestly awesome. It’s made of glass and is twisty at the ends and simple yet detailed. I noticed that when I was at a higher level looking down at the bridge, that whenever someone walked on it it looked like they were walking on the water instead. Nice location right next to the Rike Park and the tramway to the Mother of Georgia and alongside other stuff. Definitely nice views of the mountains and the Mother of Georgia from the bridge too. For sure a good place to visit when coming to Tbilisi because it’s not just for the bridge, it’s also for the park, tramway, and other stuff in that area.

Beautiful architecture in Tbilisi worth visiting if you’re there, something I didn’t like is some people making money out of picture taken with birds like peacocks or parrots, please don’t take any pictures with those birds as they cut their wings so they can’t actually fly. The bridge connects two sides of Tbilisi and is on the Kura river with a view, its so bright during the night and you can visit it for free. The place is wheelchair accessible.

I loved this area. The bridge is a gem in the city. The view from the bridge over the avenue and the river is amazing. During the night it is lighted and the result is amazing. If you have the chance don't forget to visit.

Wonderful place to enjoy. I was staying in Old Tbilisi I walked to Bridge of peace I took some photos, then I took the cable car to mother of Tbilisi which was beautiful view. I went there around 17:00 hours to 23:00 hours. It was good experience.

Must visit bridge of either in daytime or in nighttime. It’s really beautiful and you can see panoramic view of the city. Have added few photos and videos for reference. Also you can get a boat ride down the park from there can see the bridge of peace.

This is a bow-shaped pedestrian bridge, a steel and glass construction with numerous LEDs, over the Kura River, linking the Rike Park with Old town in central Tbilisi. Constructed in 2010. For tourists, this is the best option for crossing the city to old Tbilisi as part of the walking tour.

Nearby this place is the old town where you can experience the night life at the best. There are many restaurants & shops to buy souvenirs. The bridge is real good an architects delight , surroundings not maintained, probably during tourist season they would spruce it up , the hawkers with exotic peacocks and fancy monkeys and hawks may be good for a pic , but it's a wildlife abuse elsewhere in the world

A great spot to add into your walking tour around the historical part of Tbilisi. The early night view from and onto the bridge will be a good background for your vacation pictures. The bridge is a bit narrow, but that wasn't a problem when I attended there. After having enough of it, you can proceed further with spectating the ancient streets with their romantic architecture down in the old town.

Really nice short ride to the top to visit Mother of Georgia and the Fortress, plus you can walk down the stairs to the botanical gardens. It’s a few seconds ride up to the top. 6 people max per car and you can buy tickets/card to ride at the entrance.

The cable car experience in Tbilisi was fantastic! For just 5 GEL per person, you can enjoy a round trip that takes you up near the iconic Mother of Georgia statue. The view of Tbilisi City from the top is absolutely breathtaking, earning a round of applause! We took it at night then again during the day. The views are really nice, you get to see the entire city. It takes you up to the fortress, botanical garden, and mother of Georgia statue. It costs 2.5 GEL per ride per person; 5 GEL for a roundtrip. They also charge you 2 GEL for the card unless you already have one. Multiple people can use the same card. I would recommend you get the round-trip ticket to avoid waiting twice in line. It's approximately a 3-4 minute ride to get to the top. I would recommend you experience it at night as it was more beautiful and waay less crowded. I'm giving it 4 stars because there's no organization, and they don't separate the lines between those who have tickets and those who want to purchase ones, so it tends to get a bit messy. In general, this is a nice activity to do if you're in town.

This is just a magnificent cable car way to the unique and beautiful old city of Tbilisi. Under the road, incredible views open up over the Mtkvari river and over this breathtaking old city. Climbing up, you will find magnificent panoramic views of the Tbilisi and you can also visit the Botanical Garden, the entrance to which is paid.

Quick way to get to the fortress and botanical garden. Yet it’s good to know that travel card doesn’t work here which is surprising for me, because it’s said on it, that it works with cable cars.

The "train" going up to the Funicular is closed during holidays. Good thing we were in a private tour for this event. From here, you will have a good vantage point of the city of Tbilisi.

Decent food with a superb view. The overall taste of all the items we had here, as well as their prices are somewhat underwhelming compared to their counterparts found all around the city. However, it is important to note that the view makes up for it in most cases, unless you really are simply looking for the best grub in town. We did enjoy the ponchiki very much though, so definitely add that to your meal as well. It is simple, as simple as it looks on photos, but definitely tasty, a true example to "less is more."

We took funicular to go to the restaurant, the experience was amazing. The restaurant was a bit busy but the staff managed everything. The food was superb! Especially the salad & Khachapuri (the warm boat-shaped, filled with a cheese-stuffed crust and egg baked into the center) 🍳 Extremely yummy

It is a fun experience while visiting Tbilisi. There is a theme park at the the top with coffee shops and different rides. It's chilly at the top of the mountain during the winter months.

A beautiful restaurant with superb panoramic views of Tbilisi, lovely environment and attentive service. It is a great option for families, friends and even business lunches or dinners. Food is nice, however, a little overpriced, everything has a nice presentation. Especially recommend Adjarian khachapuri and Lagidze Water (legendary soft drinks of Georgia).

Very nice coffee, like a bistro. You definitely need to try Ponchiki which is a larger sweet donut, filled with pudding creme, a local specialty. Have Georgian tee with it.

Corn bread was made a month ago, it’s hard like a rock and cold. The service was slow, even tho it’s empty. The view is amazing tho. The mushroom with cheese is pretty good.

Definitely worthwhile to stay for a while at cafe funicular, and at least to have their khachapuri, for me it was one of the most delicious I've ever had! And the view from there is awesome as well, the variety of deserts will also surprise. 💯 For khachapuri, just perfect 💚

What comes to food, compare this to an amusement park, not to a fine dining restaurant. Wine tasted like the cheapest boxed bulk wine, edibles were okay. Nothing wrong with the bottled water they served. Salad had some slightly mushy parts. Amazing views, but you don’t need to go inside the restaurant to see them. You will find much better food and service for 70% of the price if you go somewhere small and local.

I ordered Old Fashioned and I’m sorry to report it wasn’t up to the mark. The berry lemonade was average tasting according to my co-diner. I wanted to check their bar but faced resistance from bouncers for unknown reasons but one of them obliged and wanted to chaperone but anyway. This rating is for the service and the one-of-a-kind panoramic view of Tbilisi from the restaurant’s terrace outshines and eclipses the average food experience of the restaurant itself. Must-visit place and restaurant, and to each his own. Prices are very reasonable. Funicular round trip GEL 20 per person and GEL 2 for the card; vantage points PRICELESS!

If you're looking for a great time, I'd definitely recommend heading over to this place around sunset, which usually happens around 7:40 PM. Trust me, the view alone is worth it. Now, let's talk about the desserts. You absolutely cannot leave without trying their heavenly honey cake and Ponchiki (Georgian donuts). Seriously, they're to die for. I guarantee you'll be left wanting more. As for the food, we ordered the veal, kebab sandwich, and pork BBQ, and boy, they did not disappoint. The flavors were on point. The only downside? We wished the portions were a bit more generous. We could have easily devoured more of those tasty dishes.

Well, I really liked this place so I went three times during my stay in Tbilisi for dinner. The view, food, drinks, the service was top notch. Only thing during my list some food tasted different than previous two visits and I assume there was a different cook in the kitchen. We had also live music performance during my last visit, and the restaurant was quite empty. It felt like I had a private concert with delicious food.

The best place to try this sweet however it is over priced 3 times higher than the cost in the city , the prices are extremely higher than the city minimum twice , the view is extremely worth it , the outdoor sitting area is closed is it bcz it is winter or it is permanently close have no idea , would be such experience to be in high spot with good food instead of being inside doors

6 Khinkali for 19 lari?! Is it a joke? 4 years ago it was an amazing place with great and tasty food, I would often go there with my family and this time when we visited everything was changes the menu and the food was terrible. Khinkali had too much herbs in it and the Kababi was so dry and awful i have no words! Very disappointed I hope they change it again to normal so people can go and enjoy tasty food with normal prices and not pay a price of a Kidney!

The ruins are absolutely stunning - it’s simply breathtaking to walk around the remains of towers and walls. What’s even more breathtaking is the view - Tbilisi is a beautiful city, and you really get to see that from Nariqala. For anyone in Tbilisi, I strongly recommend a visit at this place

You can freely roam around and climb the walls, which means some spots need extra caution. If you're feeling adventurous, then it's definitely worth exploring.

Great castle ruins with lots of little unexpected corners to explore. Normally you can continue the walk to the mother of Georgia statue but currently (April 2024) it is unfortunately closed. Also cable car up there doesn't run at the moment. Night time view very cool too...there is wine ice cream to try on the way up and you could have a great castle top picnic with amazing views there too (bring Georgina wine). Best of all the entry is free of charge. Definite must see when in Tbilisi

Great experience to climb up the steep heights. View at the top was amazing. Good to be in sports or tracking type attire. Not well lit at certain places. Need to be careful of old broken walls and some thorny bushes.

A must-visit when in Tbilisi. You can take a cable car, but walking up is so much better as you get to see the view and church from all angles. There are also good spots for pictures on the way. The view of the sunset from up there is amazing.

We took the cable car to the fortress in the late afternoon and experienced beautiful views from up there. It’s free of charge but also a little under developed for tourism purposes, meaning the walls are not protected by guard rails so be careful if traveling with little kids.

Superb place to visit. Excellent location and Georgian architecture. Ancient buildings and outside so many traditional shops are selling Georgian items. We bought a few. Traditional buildings and houses are so good and colorful. The location is good and there is a very large area. Tall buildings constructed by big stones and mud. The church inside was so good and peaceful. We need more than one hour to look around this place. The view point is so good. 40 min drive from Tbilisi.

Narikala Fortress can be accessed by car, cable car or by foot. There are steps and paths leading to the Fortress. You can see the Mother of Georgia statue and botanical garden. The waterfall was closed when I visited. Nothing much to do. Good view of the city and the short ride of the cable car.

Such a fun and magical place ! A beautiful fortress on a large hill that you can walk around and climb different areas. The views of the city are wonderful. You can explore the entire fortress. There is a lovely church, shops and souvenirs. You can hike back down, take a cable car or the more adventurous can zip line down and land in the nearby Botanical Gardens.

Probably one of the most beautiful places in Tbilisi. After wandering the streets leading up to it, it offers a dramatic view of the city. What I really liked (though kinda dangerous) is that you can roam freely inside amd on the walls by day and by night. I rrally loved how one can linger as long as they want and just enjoy the view or take great pics. The site is accessible by cable car as well, but I think going on foot adds to its charm if you are a hiker.

Fortress looks impressive from the city (especially at night, with the lights) but when you come on the hill it appears, that those are mostly walls and ruins. There is a church inside, but it’s not very different from others. There are of course nice views on the city from here. Walking on the walls could be entartaining (But it’s good to know, that they are not well prepared for visitors. For me that was no problem, but there are no safety measures, sometimes you have to even climb to go further, so that could be dangerous and problematic for people with limited movement skills - I can’t imagine it in the late evening, when aerial tramway is still working). It’s good to see fortress if you’re already on the hill, but I recommend more visiting Botanical Garden which is right next to it.

Very impressive fortress area with quite a few things to explore such as, the Mother of Georgia, the recently restored St. Nicholas church, a waterfall, a botanical garden, and more. You can occasionally see a couple dogs and maybe 1 or 2 cats too. I’d recommend to go in the mornings or winter time to avoid other tourists as much as possible. Also make sure to wear comfortable shoes. Definitely come here if you want to quite a good chunk of the city and at night it looks extra spectacular. You can get up to the mountain by the cable car or walk up stairs or uphill from 2 sides. 1 side is right next to the Mother of Georgia. The other side comes up next to the St. Nicholas church. Also know that when going to Narikala and the area, it is walkable and all but there are still ruins and if you’re not careful you could trip or injure yourself.

It's one of worth visiting sites from Georgia's and especially Tbilisi's sightseeings. It's easy to get the on foot. After visiting church that is really beautiful, We climbed up to hills and had panoramic view of Tbilisi's old town. Note to be careful while hiking those hills, because there is no way between hills amd one has to climb literally on rocks. But still I enjoyed that.

A Canadian Tourist Review: It is the most beautiful attraction in all of Tbilisi! There will be two women begging for donations outside, but you can donate at donation boxes inside. It is very well lit at night, and it has a large exterior but a relatively small interior. The grounds around it are beautiful too. Oh, and free entry! Highly recommend!

I have been told this is the biggest Cathedral in Tbilisi, and I must say it looks absolutely stunning, especially at night. My recommendation? If you want good pictures of the Cathedral itself, GO AT NIGHT (after 10pm, on a weekend)! However, at this time the inside of the Cathedral will be locked, and you will not be able to enter. Not only goes it look spectacular, but its super peaceful. Its free to enter as well (at least at this time). Must see if you are in Georgia, as there is a lot of history in this Cathedral.

You simply can't miss this massive cathedral as it dominates Tbilisi skyline. Its listed as one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world. As you admire the impressive stone structure it looks modern as it was only completed after 9 yrs in 2004. Traditional Georgian architectural details still abound with its archways and central dome which is Georgian. I had the pleasure to be present during Sunday mass to see the devotees in worship and the Georgian chant was very uplifting. I loved this church so much, I came back at sunset to see it lit up in all its glory. The entire complex is massive. Pics on the inside not allowed and there is a small gift shop at the front.

Amazing views of Tbilisi from the top and it was much bigger than expected. We were fortunate to visit when in service, the tenors singing created a magical experience.

Want to avoid the stairs? Just walk along the side of the stairs. I looped go the right of the stairs walking past roses, lavender, grapes and then eventually a pink stone chapel and then I was on level with the church. It was a much more peaceful and shaded way to see the church and it made me notice more pieces like the patterns on the back of the church, and there’s a grape patch behind the church. A happy way for strollers and wheelchairs to go!

Built in 2004, the Holy Trinity Cathedral which is also known as Sameba Cathedral is the main cathedral of orthodox Georgians in Tbilisi. The architecture is really beautiful and the interior is magnificent. I really recommend that you visit during the day and night, and during the night specifically if it was raining.

One of the best place in Tbilisi. It is free to visit. We visited at day time but it looks very nice from city center. You should visit there for sure. We went to inside from up side, it was easy to find a park place and to walk.

Visited here in the late afternoon on Saturday with drizzle. Architecture of this church is beautiful and unique and more beautiful when light is turned on at night. There was a merit ceremony when we were getting inside the church. The smell from candles and incense was quite strong. It would be better if the weather is fine, however it’s worth to visit. Luckily, we were able to take a photo from my hotel room at night, how wonderful is it?
