Great experience. Our guide was fantastic. We were allowed to take photos, without flash of course. He explained the history and science behind the caves in Spanish and English. The cave itself was great to visit. We did the last trip of the day so it was around 15 in our group. Might be much more crowded in summer though. There are guided tours every hour or so.
Easy to get around as long as you can go up and down steps, quite a lot of them. If not, you can view the entire cave from the platform. It is one big chamber with lovely lighting. Check the photos.
Thoroughly recommended visit. The drive there is very scenic as well.

Was quite a drive to get to the caves up a very steel hill, you could feel your ears pop on way up! I had tried to purchase tickets online before my holiday but we were better off just buying them at the door it was 9 euros per adult. The lady running the tour was very knowledgeable and her English was very good and she made sure everyone was included! You can feel the difference in the air going in and down but was very interesting to see 👀 ?Great views from the top of the mountains too! ⛰️

Excellent day out, great cave system and some brilliant views back towards Alicante.Cafe selling Coffees etc is useful but they are small size coffees only.Only downside to the day is the bad car parking available.Might be ok when it's quiet but when it's busy there is a lack of parking near the attraction.Other parking nearby but is a bit of an uphill stroll. All in all definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.We travelled an hour to get there and think it was certainly worth the trip.
Ashley Milburn — Google review
Nice day visit but the cave was smaller than we thought and not that much to explore. Guide spoke ok English but didn't understand all questions. I would say worth a visit. Don't miss the downstairs "museum".
Ripper Roo — Google review
A very nice tour around the caves the guide was for informative definitely worth 8 euros entrance fee . Great views from the entrance across Alicante. Would recommend arriving early as carpark not very big.
Alex Webb — Google review
If you in around Alicante, this is the place to visit! Guides know what they're doing, prices are OK, even the small café and gift shop are very reasonable.
On the same ticket you can visit a local music museum etc. And the views... see for yourselves 😉

Really enjoyed our trip here, would have been a 5 star review however I feel they packed a few too many people into the tour which would be the only downside, it felt too crowded going down the stairs.
Other than that, what a fantastic experience, the caves are wonderful and have amazing history.
We were the only English people on the tour when we arrived, but we were pleasantly surprised to be approached by the guide who advised his English wasn't great but he still managed to give us our own personal tour alongside the main one.
You can't take photos inside the caves (understandable) and parking is a little bit of a nightmare but it's worth it...also the coffee at the little shop there is fantastic.

Nice place. Friendly guides. Only guided tours. English aswell. 17° inside the cage. Wet and slippery on the floors. Many stars, so be aware if you are not good at walking stairs. Price: €8
Claus Offt Kaalstad — Google review
Definitely a cool place to visit. I am claustrophobic but was able to go inside as the ceilings were very very high. There are lights shining on the stalagtites and stalagmites. There are lots of stairs if you choose to walk in the caves.
Debra Heim — Google review
Nice guided tour. We had to wait a few minutes because you can only enter at a certain time and with a group. We paid for the entrance but I forgot how much. While waiting you can go around outside. There was a restaurant there where you can have a meal while. As soon as the gate or door opens, we went in line to get in. The guide was super nice and speaks English. Really amazed at how beautiful it is inside the cave. Highly recommended.

This was just fabulous! Check the time of the tours before you go, though if you arrive early there is a wee kiosk and lovely places to sit as well as a good exhibition. The caves themselves are just stunning and the tour very well done. You can't take photos inside, but that just helps you to enjoy the stunning atmosphere 😁

Guided tours only. Spectacular cave. Excellent guide who did our tour in Spanish and English. Sadly no photography allowed. Be prepared for lots of steps. Some 400 for us! Photos attached are taken from postcards!!
Paul Trunchion — Google review
We enjoyed our visit to the caves. I’ve rated it 4 rather than 5 since you cannot take photos in the caves. This doesn’t make sense to me and is rather annoying. A cool 17 degrees all the time. A visit time of 40 minutes is worth the 8 euros per person entry fee. Make sure you visit the caves when next in Alicante. My review will soon be on my “Two Passports Packed” travel blog, available by a Google search. Hopefully they will allow photos to make the visit a much better experience.
CHARLES ARNESTAD — Google review
A place worth seeing. Very friendly staff. MAGNIFICENT views and super tour guides that explain a lot about the cave and even have some time to chit-chat. If you are around do not hesitate to visit just remember that tours are timed.
Nessos — Google review
Limited parking. You must pay for a guided tour. Very reasonably priced. Though tour was mostly in Spanish (understandably), the guide did repeat what she said in English too which was nice.
No photography allowed inside the cave.
Steven Gould — Google review
Lovely drive up to Busot, nice village with a church, on up to the caves, was a great break from the heat, it’s a constant 17c in caves, tour takes about 40 minutes, well worth the money.
Great for something to do in the daytime.
Fantastic views from the top.
Safari Aitana in Alicante offers a unique safari experience where visitors can see animals like elephants, giraffes, and even swimming tigers up close. The park allows self-guided or group tours by car, with the option to book a private tour with a comfortable van and guide. Visitors are allowed to leave their cars at designated stops where staff members provide information about the animals. This safari park is not a typical zoo but rather an expansive space for a sensorial experience with wildlife.
We loved this place. Situated up in the mountains in what feels like the middle of nowhere, this is a chance to go on a driving safari and have the opportunity to get close to some of the animals. If you drive yourself you are allowed to get out of the car where you see a keeper and be close and they will give you talks about them. The wild cat enclosures have an electric fence so no particular chances of them jumping at the car etc for any concerned. Look out for cheeky Charlie the Zebra who decided to stick his head in the car and have a good nose much to the childrens amusement.
Some animals at the entrance area that you can walk around and see. Picnic area and restaurant. A very enjoyable day out in beautiful surroundings.
A note for driving there! We came from the direction of Villajoyosa. The last 35kms is up hill all the way on very windy mountain roads, past a reservoir and a couple of very pretty villages. Some very windy roads but lovely scenery. Make sure you have plenty of fuel!!
The last couple of kms, Google maps looses the plot a bit so when you see the sign for Safari Aitana take that exit, it IS correct even if you feel you are on the road to nowhere!
Cid Poole — Google review
Great place, animals really well looked after and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The lions and tigers were majestic. A brilliant day out no matter how old you are! Make sure and take plenty water in your car though as it gets hot out there
Dave Hutchison — Google review
Not a bad place but definitely animals need some more water and greenery. Hippos are being held in a place with practically no water. They are practically on a desert with very little trees or bushes.
The whole excursion is quite long, more than 2 hours. Good to take drinks and food with you, especially if you are going with kids.
Magda Seko — Google review
This was an incredibly experience. We took a private tour and we were lucky that it was hosted by Laura. She was very knowledgeable and passionate about the park and the animals. Close contact and feeding of the large animals was unbelievable. The stuff was very friendly and kind. Private tour is much more interactive than standard tour and you should take a note to book it in advance because of capacity limits. Highly recommend!! 🥰

Today was my sixth visit to Safari Aitana. We always arrive before 11:00 so we can join the guided tour which takes about 2 hours. Jose feeds the animals and explains everything in Spanish and English. This is a unique experience that is suitable for all ages to learn and enjoy. We always have a meal in the restaurant after the tour which is good value and very tasty.

The trip to the safari is 1h from Alicante and the way there was very zig zag so we all got super carsick.
The park is very awesome and worth the trip tho! Awesome lions, tigers and many more, the best part was the giraffes for us!
In the park you drive your own car for 7km and 2hours - theres guides too, and sometimes you can can come out of the car to see them closer.
After the park theres a restaurant with burgers, soups etc. AND a small zoo behind the restaurant with other cool animals like owls, birds, bunnies etc, thats included in the ticket too!
We took a different path back to Alicante that was not so zig-zag and way better. 😊

We are very happy about everything!!! Especially about private tour with Christine in English which was helpful, she was lovely and almost 3 hours with her went very nice, full of knowledge and fun‼️😉 for sure we will be back. Thank you

3 weeks ago we went to Aitana Safari we were a family of 4 with 3 children. Jose was really good explaining the life of the animals. We had a great day, it was a beautiful experience seeing the animals free
The lady in the restaurant was so nice and friendly and the food was excellent.
Doris Nagen — Google review
If your kids love animals and wildlife this is a great day out. The start on the drive through is quite boring but grows with a stop at the giraffes 🦒 and the elephants 🐘. Great photo opportunities all the way round. Daktari a bit disappointing afterwards but overall a great day.
Gary Murphy — Google review
What an absolutely stunning place. The guide that showed us round was brilliant. He told us a lot of information about the animals.
It is lovely to see wild animals in captivity in such good condition, the hippos are brilliant and to see the elephants so close was also brilliant.
We also dined in the restaurant this is a must.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes wild animals.

We bought a private tour via internet with a van (comfortable and with climate control) and a guide; for 2 families (7 people) and it's a best solution.
Our guide Carlos was so engaged and nice, talk a lot with our smallers, we really love him! It was our first experience when animals are so close to us, with feeding and petting them.
Elephants and giraffes are super cute, we even saw how tigers swim in a pond. It's not a zoo, just another blow-minded place with a lot of free space and sensorial experience.
Ksena Shurubura — Google review
Great place! Our gide Carlos was the best! Better to take Safary individual tour, because for driver it will be difficult to drive through the animals on thin road. Also, gide gives you information and food for feeding animals. It's not chip, because you pay 170 for 7 person place Wan + 160 euro for 7 person entrance, but it worth... And have place for one time...

I come here every single year with my family and it is my favorite safari. Kids enjoy seeing and discovering new wild animals and most of the time you can touch some of them.
You don't see animals from afar, but a step away from you! A magnificent experience.
Also, guides explain animals' characteristics in a very entertaining way!
When I have kids I won't hesitate to come back here.

My family and I loved our visit at SAFARI. It is a well organized place to visit , I have been to other places like this but for me this is the best. A very big place to take care of the wild animals, well preserved. People are well informed of what dangers that we can encounter during the visit. The personnel and staff are very kind and helpful. Very recommended to all family and friends who are adventure seekers.
Angelito Villamin — Google review
Even though it was raining, we still had a great day at the safari. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The cafe on site had some very nice food and reasonably priced too. I think the only thing that would have made this visit better, would have been some sunshine and some monkeys.

Playground for children and a gym for adults. Right by the Poniente beach with toilets and cafes nearby.. Not really a park in the conventional sense so dog walkers should perhaps stick to the promenade but a great space for children and keep fit folk.

El Castell de Guadalest, also known as Guadalest, is a picturesque Valencian town nestled in the mountainous region of Marina Baixa, Alicante, Spain. Despite its small size and population, this medieval village boasts a rich history showcased within its castle walls. Visitors can explore charming bars and restaurants as well as a diverse array of museums.
Terra Mítica is an amusement park that features various themed areas based on ancient cultures. The park offers a mix of white-knuckle rides and family-friendly attractions, as well as live shows for entertainment. The staff are friendly and the park is well-maintained with plenty of cafes and cooling stations available. COVID-19 precautions are in place to ensure visitor safety, although not all areas may be open at this time.
Loved it!!! We went today and we could easily get on the rides with no waiting and yes the temperature was over 35 degrees but there was plenty of shadow and plenty of refreshing areas. My son had a meal there and the price is the same as you would pay in the same sort of attractions, so fair enough. We were very happy and would definitely come back!!!! ♥️ I had 2 toddlers with me and they loved to swim in the river there too!!!

Visited here 2 years ago was great, visited on the 3rd August 2021 and was absolutely awful! Paid full price to get in although virtually all of the adult attractions were closed, no information as to why? Didn't see a shop open until 1pm even then only a few opened up, all children over 6 were forced to wear face masks! No covid information prior to entering the park whatsoever?? No coolers on at all and very limited shade in the queue's for what rides were open. Would not return even if they paid me to. 😡

Really nice. Good covid precautions. Would of been nice for all areas to been open but still good day had with variety of ages.

We were in the park on June 30, Friday. We are family eith 13 &11 years kids.We all are over 1,6 m. Although the park opens at 10:30, we arrived at 11. The parking lot was empty (€7 per car). Single families. We parked the car and left. There were no queues. We had purchased tickets online. When we entered the park, it was completely empty. Of course, not all attractions were working yet. But there were no queues all day. We had to wait for people to gather at the attraction. There are fast food restaurants. Restaurants open later. There are practically no tourists, mostly locals. With the repetitions and a snack half a day is quite enough. It took us from 11 to 15 :00 .So 6 hours in the park .
The attractions are fun and correspond to the descriptions.Shops are all the same.

We stayed at the Grand Luxor village next door to the park so got entry included with our stay and visited almost every day of our 8 night trip. The park is about a 10 minute drive from the centre of Benidorm and offers really nice surroundings and is very well maintained. Most rides have a 1.2m limit so my seven year old son was able to go on most thing barring the extreme rides. The rides are quite spread out so there's quite a lot of walking involved and some gentle slopes. There are plenty of food outlets but the choice is limited, burgers/pizza/sandwiches and quality is just OK. It's forbidden to take food into the park so if you want to eat you have to use them! We visited in late August and the queues weren't bad for any rides and we found if we did encounter a queue we'd just skip the ride and go back later when it was quieter. The park shut at 9pm when we were there and we were able to ride continually on some rides without getting off (log flume and dogems in particular). I'd say the ride range is perfect for kids with a coupe of extreme rides thrown in for the adults too. There's also a large pool with swim up bar, loungers plus a different "spa" pool more suited to younger children with some small slides. There were some shows on offer but we didn't get the chance to see any of them. A family could easily entertain themselves for a full day and we will definitely return when we are back in the area.
Andrew Booth — Google review
I like it. Plenty of rides. Minimum waiting time. Done 20+ rides in 6 hours. Much much better than elsewhere. Tickets are affordable too.
Oleg Selivanov — Google review
A great park for a day out with family, but in desperate need of something new and BIG.
Wooden coaster has been permanently closed for nearly 10 years and it still hasn't been torn down. Many of the rides trains are not nice, many rides need maintenance or painting.
However if you look past the shortcomings, there is a decent theme park. I just hope they can improve more and grow.
TCE — Google review
The price was slightly more expensive than expected. But loads to do. The children had an amazing time. The rides varied and I believe they catered for all age groups.

I would say don't look at the website as it doesn't do it any justice.
They have paid so much attention to the surroundings to. So much to look at. Very interesting.
We really enjoyed the rides and it was an added bonus that there was barely any queuing.
Hazel Turner — Google review
Great scenary and was super lucky that it almost had no queues and got to see all the park and ride almost all atractions. The scenary and enviroment is amazing and the carroussels brought me so much amusement and adrenaline. Just think it should have a public transport from the tram station to the amusement park because I had to walk one hour counting the time to go and come back.

The Valencia Bioparc is a modern naturalistic zoo in Spain that boasts an array of African animals such as lions, gorillas, and giraffes. The park's focus on education and conservation sets it apart. The innovative landscaping creates the illusion of free-roaming animals without visible fences segregating their habitats. Madagascar is particularly magical with lemurs cavorting around waterfalls among lush vegetation.
Very nice experience! Animals looking good and healthy. The installation are very clean and well kept. A lot of freedom for the animals. We liked the fact that different species are together kept as in their natural environment (co-living). Happy to visit again. Entrance price is in good relation. You can see that they take really good care of the animals ans the park. Enhorabuena, Team Bioparc!
Eivissa Love — Google review
We liked the park because of the beautiful surroundings and everything is nicely put together. They have a lot of beautiful animals which you can see from quite small distance. We didn't like the price regarding the size of the park. It's actually quite small, was expecting a larger park... you can't bring some sort of food with you, which they don't have written on their site so don't bring many snacks with you, fruits are allowed. In general it's a lovely zoo but there are a lot more beautiful and larger round the Europe...

Bioparc Valencia is a fantastic zoo that is sure to please visitors of all ages. The zoo is well-maintained and organized, with informative signage and exhibits that teach visitors about the animals. The animals are well-cared for and seem to be happy in their enclosures. The setting of the zoo is also beautiful, with lush vegetation and ponds. I would highly recommend Bioparc Valencia to anyone visiting Valencia.
Pros:
- Well-maintained and organized zoo
- Large collection of African fauna
- Informative signage and exhibits
- Educational and entertaining for all ages
- Beautiful setting
Cons:
- Can be crowded during peak season
- Some exhibits could be larger
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Bioparc Valencia and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Valencia!

Very nice place to spend a day, very clean and well maintained. The animals are well-cared and have spacious enclosures, a lot of clean ponds and spraying water during the day.
Even in hot summer day, there was so much shade it was actually comfortable.
Food is expensive and not very good quality, but you do not visit Bioparc for the restaurant.

Bioparc was beautiful and very well designed. We enjoyed seeing the animals from different viewpoints. Eating lunch outside where we could see giraffes, lions and other animals was a great experience. Your food choices were amazing. It wasn’t “junk” food. We enjoyed Bioparc more than we have enjoyed zoos in the United States. The admission prices are fair and well worth the visit. Thank you.

I honestly loved this place. The enclosures are fantastic as different species live amongst each other. The animals looked relaxed and happy too which I find the most important factor. Plenty of drink vending machines and toilets dotted around the place.
Maria Nagli? — Google review
One of the nicest zoos I've visited. The enclosures are built in such a way as to feel as natural as possible to both visitors and the animals of the park. You will hardly see any fences or cages, it all feels a lot more natural. The theme is Africa and there are only African animals in the park. The highlight has to be the fact that you can enter the lemur enclosure and have them running around you and up in the trees above you.
Emil Oprisa — Google review
Beautiful place, the Bioparc Valencia it is known for its unique design that aims to recreate and preserve natural habitats for animals. .
The zoo focuses on African wildlife and providing its animals with spacious enclosures that resemble their natural habitats as closely as possible. This allows visitors to observe the animals in environments that are more similar to the wild, promoting both their well-being and education about their natural behavior.
If you have an interest in wildlife and conservation, it is definitely worth a visit. Kids will love the place.
giuseppe gramaglia — Google review
Lovely experience. From start to finish there were really entertaining ways to look and be very close to the animals . You also can have lunch and good ice cream there.
Make sure to reserve about 3-4 hours to see everything calmly and enjoy it.
Nicolás Maldonado — Google review
I've been to many zoos and this is among the best. Focused only on African species, they combine several different animals in the same exhibit. For example rhinos and zebras or giraffes and impala. there is a great flow to the design and you usually have different viewpoints of the animal areas. not a traditional cage anywhere. highly recommended.
Sean Essex — Google review
Stunning modern take on a Zoo experience with carefully designed natural enclosures that will make you think "how can just that keep the animals inside?!" and fully immerse you into an authentic Safari experience!

Really enjoyed the visit. Plenty of biomes and animals to see. Lemurs up close were great. Restaurant food was brilliant and had no issues there whatsoever. Could do with more shading and possibly a mist feature to keep guests cooled during peak season, at some parts, the heat was unbearable.

I really enjoyed my visit to Bioparc Valencia. It is a nice zoo, smaller than I expected but that makes it easier to look around. My trip took ~2h for everything. It seems like they pay a lot of attention about every detail, especially animal welfare and their comfort.

Awesome park. Very pleasant place to spend time, especially with children. Very comfort spaces for animals, big, spacious, a lot of clean ponds and spraying water during the day, there is almost none quilty feeling on visiting zoo. I liked how clean the place is, wood, stone and glass everywhere for the terrain relief. There are nice places to eat, rest, buy a drink on premises.
Iuliia Zherdieva — Google review
A really great animal park - clean and animal friendly. The enclosures blend in with nature, there are no cages.
Visitors really enjoy this place! Suitable for visiting with small children.
Animals can be viewed from many angles. Their activities can also be observed in their private places - caves.
Many food places that allow you to enjoy this pleasant park longer.
What is very important for families with children - there are toilets everywhere.
Some birds are "free range" (see picture!)

I think this was the nicest bioparc I ever went to. I really love the idea of creating micro-ecosystems and putting together species which are compatible. Also a great thing is they do not have cages! Animals are separated using streams of water and rock walls. I really recomand visiting this place!

Bioparc in Valencia is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, you're surrounded by lush greenery and an immersive experience that transports you to different habitats. What sets Bioparc apart is its commitment to conservation and creating a naturalistic environment for its inhabitants. It's not just a zoo; it's a sanctuary for wildlife.
The kid-friendly atmosphere here is remarkable. My children were captivated by the diverse array of animals and enjoyed every moment exploring the park. The interactive exhibits and educational programs kept them engaged and entertained throughout our visit.
Overall, Bioparc offers a perfect blend of entertainment, education, and environmental consciousness. A must-visit for families and nature enthusiasts alike!

Amazing place with various animals (yes it is not a typical zoo) - the animations are very educational (some of them are only in Spanish) and the visiting path is well designed, no need to look at the map all the time as there is only one main path. The animals are in quite good condition. The dauphin animation starts with a quiz (6 questions) to select a winner to have the opportunity to be interact with the dauphin which is a great idea! However the animation itself is a little bit “messy” as all dauphins are doing different activities on the same time.. the buffer restaurant has a great view on the giraffes and lions.
Highly recommend to buy the tickets online in advance which saves time and money (slightly cheaper than buying on site)

Spent a bit more than 2 hours there. Amazing place to spend time and see beautiful animals. We went at 10AM right when it opens and had bought tickets in advance so we got in super fast and had no queue in front.

Nice park! Our 2nd time here! Great place to visit with the kids!
Nice show of birds at 4.30 pm.
The conditions for animals seem better and closer to natural than in the usual zoos.
Make sure to put one layer of clothes more! It always feels colder than in the city.
However, we hoped to see more species of animals such as snakes and others!

Love this place! So wonderful animals, lovely shows and great place to spend the day with your kids. Check the hours of the shows beforehand to be sure you won’t miss anything interesting.

Easily the best zoo I have ever been to! Absolutely stunning landscaping and happy, healthy animals with large enclosures mimicking nature. So many interesting species to see and you get to see them so close I have never experienced anything like this! 100% worth a visit!

Truly amazing place. It's designed in a way that allowes you easily navigate to see everything without getting lost or using the map, although the map is available.
You can spend there 2h but I'd recommend spending at least 5-6h. Personally I saw the whole park and after that I attended every event possible.
Activities like live exhibition or meeting with keepers are enjoyable even if you don't speak Spanish.
You can get a ticket online, including the meal which is a bit cheaper than buying it on site. Nevertheless it's not expensive either way.
Bioparc is located 10-15 minutes on foot from metro.
I should add that the whole place is so adorable, I'd go there even without any animals inside.

The Balcó de la Mediterrània, also known as the Castle Viewpoint, is a lookout deck with white-stone balustrades that offers breathtaking views of Benidorm's beaches and town. Positioned on the rocky point between Levante and Poniente beaches, it is home to a 14th-century castle. Accessible through an easy climb, there are several bars and resting places available for visitors. It provides an ideal location to capture stunning sunset views.
It has a phenomenal location, once you are in it you will be able to see beaches of Benidorm. Climbing up is not that difficult and you can even find bars and places to rest. Very recommendable to visit this wonderful place " the balcony". Let the photos speak for themselves, it's wonderful. Try it yourself.

Great spot to chill, socialize, people watch and/or have a snack. It can get pretty busy. Probably best to arrive before sunset for that experience and to get a seat. Bring some loose change to use the binocular things and look at the coast. Perfect for a stroll after dinner.

As with every holiday I try to find some balance and some history and education. This was perfect a nice 25-30 min stroll from new town to old and provided so much needed relief. We die this at day and night and both times views where amazing and castle was fantastic. Well worth the visit and the walk.

This is a "must go" place to gain a beautiful view over the bay also for photos both morning and evening it is a wonderful view and it is easy to get to. For the view it gives, do not come to Benidorm without visiting here.

Had a 6am stroll which avoided the young riotous rabble at this beautiful landmark. Views of the bay in the early sunlight are nothing short of stunning. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the strip area and came for a walk for a bit of relief from the noise and being dragged into bars and offered drugs at all hours. We stumbled on this on the off chance. It was stunning. Great views, really nice people. Not too busy, but I would expect it to be busier in summer. We were lucky with the weather in early March and it really was beautiful!

Absolutely beautiful views, and a nice spot for some refreshments. There is a bit of a steep climb on one side and lots of stairs on the other side. But it's worth it. I've included some photos of my mum and dad at the top.

If in Benidorm you have to get yourself here, especially for sunset! Stunning views, beautiful place to sit have few drinks, people watch and take in the gorgeous surroundings.

It was absolutely beautiful. I have gone on sunny days and cloudy days and must say that the pictures are epic. There are caricature artists and painted tile salesmen, restaurants, and a beautiful church there. The balcon happens to be built on top of a destroyed castle and has signs that show you the foundation underneath. But the view at the end of the 'pier' was amazing. You can see the whole of Benidorm there. It's free, so I would definitely suggest this view to anyone. (The end of it is only accessible though by stairs)

Estació del Nord is a charming train station that offers connections to various cities, including Barcelona. The station features an array of coffee shops and stores for travelers to enjoy. Its beautiful decor includes colorful mosaics, particularly in the office on the right side. The facilities are well-maintained and there are plenty of cafe options available. While customer service may be slow at times, the staff is generally helpful.
A pretty train station in Valencia, close to all the main tourist objectives and very convenient for tripa to other cities.
There are many cafes, shops and even a hostel inside.

Beautiful old train station. I love the interior decoration; it is all covered with mozaic ornaments and paintings. On the right from the entrance there is a small hall where you can see some fantastic mozaic images giving you an idea what Valencia is famous for: silk, oranges, climate and ceramic goods. Sometimes they organize expositions in this hall as well.

I'll never travel to Palma de Mallorca without this trip planner again
The Central Market of Valencia, Spain is a massive and beautiful market filled with fresh produce, spices, and specialty ingredients from all over the country. It's one of the largest markets in Europe and is also home to a Michelin starred chef who prepares bites at Central Bar. There are many stalls selling unique items from all over Spain, making it the perfect place to buy souvenirs or find regional dishes to cook at home.
Very lively place with tons of great spots for food, souvenirs and several other items. I particularly enjoyed the variety of typical foods, Spanish hams, cheeses and the ambience of the market. It is surrounded by restaurants and shops so it makes for a very nice area of the city.
Adriana Perez — Google review
A unique market experience and must-see for tourists! While you might not be able to purchase many of the items, there are still fresh juices, drinks, snacks, and other take-home items. The freshness of every market item is unlike anything I’ve seen in the states!
Colleen Martin — Google review
The market is a dream come true for any foodie. We visited twice while in Valencia and got to try a lot of stuff. The produce is all fresh and the prices are absolutely fine. There are also bathrooms right by one of the main entrances.
I'd appreciate at least a small corner to eat the food you purchase there. There's plenty of outside seating by one of the side entrances, but no shadow.
Linda S. — Google review
This market is incredible! It's probably the best indoor market I've ever visited.
I'm almost lost for words.
The building itself is beautiful, but it's the amazing amount of authentic working stalls inside that has to be seen to be believed.
The choice of fresh seafood, vegetables, cheeses, meats, sweets, the list goes on, will take your breath away.
The fact that this market serves the local community rather than pandering to the hoards of tourists adds greatly to its charm.
Not to be missed.
Michael Lees — Google review
The Central Market is one of the iconic places in Valencia. The architecture of the building itself, specially built for market trade, is noteworthy. But the most interesting thing is inside. There are fruit and vegetable rows and butcher shops with such a variety of jamon! Fish ruins are easy to find by their specific smell. But this is not the smell of a week’s catch, but a mixture of aromas of the freshest fish, octopus, cuttlefish and many more unknown sea creatures. Here you can wander around just like that, watching with interest the interactions between sellers and buyers, plunging into truly Spanish everyday life.
Verónica — Google review
Fantastic place. First of all, the building is phenomenal, well maintained and beautifully decorated. The market has something for everyone, lots of seafood, different fruits and vegetables. Of course, there is also the famous prosciutto, which you must try. You haven't had breakfast, everything is waiting for you here 🙂🙂🙂

Very nice covered market in a very nice building!😍 If you are in Valencia you should definitely see it. Fresh meat, fish, vegetables, herbs, etc. A feast for the eyes. You can also enjoy coffee / tea / wine etc at the bar in the Mercado. Super friendly people, we will definitely come again. Love it!❤️Until next time😃

Wow, what an unbelievable site. There are so many vendors, fresh foods and delicious treats all over this place. There are a few things to know before coming here.. Some of the vendors only accept cash, they do not allow you to TOUCH the fruit unless you are purchasing it, it says it closes at 3:00 but everything shuts down at 2:00pm. On the back there is a nice bar with a long wait to sit at where you can grab coffee or a drink. It is crowded with locals and travelers. Go early on if you want a more upbeat relaxed experience because if you go towards closing there is a rushed feel. Next to the bar is a key copying place & a place to fix leather. This market is worth checking out!
Gina Britt — Google review
A must visit for tourists and locals. One of the oldest markets in Europe that has been renovated and it shows; the architecture is beautiful and looks really clean for a market - so be sure to look up at the building as it can be missed with the other eye catching produce on offer.
There can be an overwhelming amount of stalls to choose from and the market is huge, so give yourself ample amount of time to explore. There are plenty of cultural foods and drinks all at very good prices - there is bound to be something you will like.
Minor issue is there is not much place to sit in so be prepared to either eat outside or standing up. Also there is a small fee for the toilet use.
Sam S — Google review
Notice the parrot symbol all over the place, including the old parrot structure on top of the dome of the entire building. This bird is emblematic of the market being the place for news of town gossip! This symbol has existed since the central market has existed!
Numerous fruit stands, delis, butchers, artisan products and etcetera. Also has a few restaurants to eat in while you are shopping. You will see that even locals shop for their greens and fruits here.
I would recommend getting a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice or a quick cafe cortado before walking around this massive commercial areas, which used to be the center of town.
If wanting solid photos with less people in the vicinity, I would recommend coming right before siesta hours so that the place is semi-empty!

Nice place to visit to grab some snacks and taste some of the localities.
There you can buy veggies, fresh and cured meats, cheeses, oils and amazing seafood and even some jewelry.
The Pescados stand was amazing, there you can get some fresh Unis ( sea urchin) and oysters 🦪 by peace and try right there with lemon. That was so yummy!
We tried cheese and sausages too.
As well as some really nice olive oils.
Amazing place to check out if you’re a foodie and you can get some gifts too!

The Central Market of Valencia is one of the oldest markets still in use in Europe and has been declared a ''Heritage of Cultural Interest'' site by the Spanish Ministry of Culture. After about ten years of work it was inaugurated in the course of 1928 and decades later, in 2010, it was completely renovated. It's a popular spot among tourists as well as locals, as it’s the perfect location to immerse yourself in the heart of local culture and to get lost in its numerous aisles filled with local products.

Central Market Valencia is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves fresh, local food and an authentic shopping experience. The market is a bustling hub of activity where vendors offer an incredible variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, seafood, spices, and baked goods. The quality of the products is outstanding and the vendors are friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to offer tips and advice on preparing and cooking their products.
The market is also a feast for the eyes, with colourful displays of fresh produce and beautiful architecture that captures the essence of Valencia's history and culture. The market is conveniently located in the heart of the city and is easily accessible by public transportation or on foot.

Beautiful old local market. Go early! Everything is closing down by 2pm (14:00).
Great option for small bites, local specialties and local meat and seafood. If you’re a fan, look for the local fish mongers with fresh oysters 🦪 and uni/urchin,…or look for a favorite cured meat, paella, or seasonal fruit, all of which you can enjoy on the spot.
For fresh food, be prepared with cash. Some vendors only accept cash, others only cash for small purchases, and most did not want to accept the Mercat certificados (cash coupons) that say you can spend them on market purchases. Most vendors told me they wouldn’t accept the certificates at all, or they were only for parking but not purchases.

The La Lonja de la Seda is a historical building located in the city of Valencia, Spain. The building is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was originally built as a silk and commodity exchange. The courtyard inside of the building is filled with citrus trees, which adds to the beauty of the building.

Worth a visit as it’s free entry and it’s such a beautiful medieval architecture that used to be used as a food trading place, like a market. Highly recommend to visit. This place is a hidden gem, just next to Mercado Central. Maybe it is not a very lengthy tour, just several halls, but each of them is just stunning! The main one is enormous and takes you back in time to middle ages. The price for entrance is also a nice surprise, just 2 EUR per person. In addition you can get an audio guide. We really enjoyed the place during wanderlust in Valencia.

A UNESCO World Heritage site, this monument is a feast for the eyes. Built by the city council in the late 15th century to house the commerce, the architecture and decorative stone work is filled with symbolism of religion, sin and wealth.

It's one of the highest-rated tourist attractions in Valencia for a reason - it's a breathtakingly beautiful building. Beautiful building, inside and out. Definitely worth the visit even just to see the interior architecture and decor. You won’t spend a long time here as there are only three or so main rooms, but with the orange tree courtyard in the middle, and the amazing merchant trading hall, it’s not to be missed. Free entry on a Sunday!

I went here with the guide from a walking tour. She explained the history of this building, why it was built and many fun facts. In general, it’s a pretty and well-managed historical site to visit, but if you come by yourself, it might be more interesting to get an audio guide.
Nico Yu — Google review
This entire edifice is an indication of how powerful and bold silk tradesmen were during Europe's expedition of the Orient (Marco Polo). The small, provocative ornaments on the structure's main door are facing the church directly... making it even more bold of the silk tradesmen back then!
The architecture is obviously why one goes here. But the history of silk and how it built half the city through the Silk Road from Asia is also a narrative that provides more context to your visit. I suggest doing a quick wiki.
The spiraling columns are different especially when you stand up close and look up. The best lighting seems to be around 10 AM when it opens.. the best time to take pics!
Nabil R — Google review
A very strange place - it costs 2 euros (free with the Valencia tourist pass), which seems like quite a bit. But surprisingly, the visit is not worth it at all. Well, that is, there is nothing interesting inside at all. The building is cool from the outside, it’s also nice on the inside, but there’s no information written anywhere about anything, all the halls are empty, there’s no ancient furniture or other furnishings that would tell us how everything worked here. In one of the halls they play a video - very boring.
Igor Omarov — Google review
An incredibly beautiful building and well worth a visit. We bought the audio guide and I found the nasal American accent which is supplied for English pretty grating and this detracted from the overall experience. Other than that it's well worth a visit - great insights into the history of Valencia.

The place IS worth visiting provided you pay separately for an audio guide which offers visitors an abundance of details with regards not only to the historical significance of this place (see the triad The Cathedral, The Silk Exchange and Generalitat), but to the mixture of symbolism carved into stone both inside and outside. Not to mention the beauty of the gargoyles.....

This is a world heritage site, and I'm not surprised. It takes you back in time. I have never seen a building like this before. The features are stunning. The facade is impressive as well as the inside of the Cathedral. It features beautiful Gothic style designs as well as impressive religious pieces, stained glass and much more. We were lucky to attend mass at the Cathedral on Christmas day and we loved the community as well. Such a great place to visit. The Holy Grail chapel was closed at the time of our visit, but I hear it's beautiful as well.

The Holy Grail is here! Believe it or not, you should visit the cathedral. The cathedral, La Seu in Catalan, is situated between two squares. It is built in Gothic style with Roman elements and other. For me, each cathedral is always one of the main sightseeing points. Because it is the history of the city.
You can also visit the bell tower and enjoy the view of the city.

Must see when in Valencia! Entry ticket was around €10, you’ll get the auto guide included ( selection of languages available). Beautiful building inside and out. A lot of Artwork inside which is worth seeing and listening to the history. Cathedral was build in XIII century, so there is plenty history there. You have an option to climb the tower of the cathedral on your way out for an additional €1.5 ( you’ll definitely get your steps in that day ).

Really really gorgeous cathedral. 8 euro entry fees. Really friendly personal. I have a bag and I was allowed to leave near the reception
And a tower about 70m height. Man it was difficult to go till the top and it costed 2 euro plus

The most beautiful cathedral in Valencia! It’s such a precious place to visit and I believe it’s a must visit place for all tourists and visitors. Every angle of this cathedral is photogenic and it’s full of holy paintings and adornments that are worth the visit. The entry fee is €8 which is totally worth it as you can spend hours in there. It’s also quite close from the central station so you can walk there. Also there’s a mini museum inside so go have a visit.

Very beautiful place. We spend there around 2 hours as there are some additional zones with exhibitions around main part church. Inside and for an advanced price like 2-4 euro you can visit the tower. It's 240 stairs there.

The experience was made enjoyable through the useful audio guides and for €9 it was definitely worth it. Lots of other things to see not just the Holy Grail, which was impressive in itself.

You have to visit the cathedral if you're in the city. It's a bit pricey, and to go up the tower, they charge a supplement; but if the cost goes towards the upkeep of the building, fair enough.
They do include an audio tour, which is surprisingly good, and there's a great museum inside that has superb displays and access to the catacombs.

we climbed the tower (207 steps, would not recommend the elderly or inactive) before visiting the church and the 360deg view was worth it! the church itself also exhibited a very interesting concept of mixture in architecture styles.. and one can see the holy chalice here. audioguide also enhanced the whole experience, worth a visit!

The place where Holy Grail is station, carefully crafted with good management to maintain. Beautiful cathedral (not so big and very nicely welcome visitor).

The Cathedral in Valencia is an awe-inspiring architectural masterpiece that captivates visitors with its grandeur and historical significance. From the moment you approach its magnificent facade, you're drawn into a world of centuries-old craftsmanship and intricate details. Stepping inside, the interior boasts breathtaking beauty, with ornate chapels, stunning stained glass windows, and the awe-inspiring Holy Chalice. The audio guide provides invaluable insights into the cathedral's rich history and cultural significance. While some areas may be crowded with tourists, the overall experience is well worth it. A must-visit landmark in Valencia for anyone interested in history, art, or architecture.

Went for the bell tower, but ended up staying for over an hour because of the museum in the cathedral. It is a separate entrance than the bell tower and requires a separate ticket, but is well worth it. Not only is the main part of the cathedral beautiful, but the museum is very interesting and actually takes you UNDER the church to an excavated area… which includes a small graveyard. Non-fluent Spanish speakers- everything here is in espanol, so I recommend downloading Google translate (and downloading the offline option, otherwise you won’t get the really interesting info from the sites under the church!).

Another great example of the church's wealth & power continuing into the 21st century in Europe. A good few interesting pieces, rooms & art. If you're spending a few days in Valencia, this is not a bad place to kill a few hours.

During my recent trip to Valencia, I had the opportunity to visit the iconic Valencia Cathedral. While the cathedral itself was undoubtedly interesting and impressive, the €9 admission fee seemed somewhat steep, especially since the building wasn't significantly more remarkable than other cathedrals or churches I've visited.
As a non-religious person, I was still captivated by the stunning frescoes, intricate icons, and majestic statues throughout the cathedral. The architecture and historical context were noteworthy, adding depth to the overall experience.
My main interest, however, was the 'Holy Grail,' believed to be the cup from which Jesus drank. Unfortunately, the artifact was tucked away in a small, dimly lit room and displayed in a dark case, making it difficult to see clearly. The room was under renovation, which made it challenging to appreciate the artifact in a serene setting. Furthermore, there was a lack of information or indication about the Holy Grail's significance, aside from a lengthy audio tour that included unnecessary chanting.
In summary, the Valencia Cathedral is an interesting place to visit with its impressive architectural and historical elements. However, my expectations regarding the Holy Grail were not entirely met, and the €9 fee seems excessive for visiting what I perceive to be a public church. If you're in Valencia, it's worth a visit, but be prepared for the admission price and potentially underwhelming display of the Holy Grail.

Absolutely splendid medieval cathedral with significant 18th-century renovations. The prerecorded handheld tour guide was just right in terms of length and detail. There is a super museum accessed from within the Cathedral with amazing artefacts. The Cathedral itself has at least one painting by Goya. And if you like relics, this is definitely your kind of place!

Gorgeous cathedral with lots to see inside. Budget at least an hour if not longer. It's not only the church (which hosts the holy grail and the arm of the patron Saint of Valencia) but there is also a museum attached to the side. Be sure to check out the upper floor that has lots of artwork and artifacts. Clean bathrooms available on the 1st floor. If short on time, I would suggest the Valencia Cathedral over Saint Nicolas.

A very beautiful cathedral in the middle of Valencia's city square. A must visit when in the city. Beautiful altar that opens and closes like a cabinet. One of the best in Spain in my opinion, perhaps just behind the one in Seville.

Right in the heart of the old city centre, this cathedral is absolutely beautiful. It costs to enter, but it's worth it. You get an audio device as part of the entrance fee. There are chapels surrounding the main altar piece that are worth exploring. My absolute favourite is the magnificent and highly decorative baroque altar. Staff are very friendly and I highly recommend visiting.

Oozes history. The walk to the Bell tower is a great challenge too - 200+ steps but the view from the top is incredible.
Top tip - you must have cash to enter as they don't accept cards

What an amazing cathedral. The entrance fee was 9€/6€. If you want to visit the tower, you would have to pay an additional 2,5€. I'm definitely coming back 💞

Well organized visit with relevant short explanations. Beautiful interior, certainly spend time in the museum. The tower is high (207 high steps, no resting place) and the view on Valencia from the top is a bit disappointing. We do not recommend to climb if you are not in great shape.

A very interesting cathedral - 9 euros entrance fee, they give you an audio guide, which lasts about 1.5 hours and tells in great detail and mostly very interesting about the history of the temple, Christianity and Valencia. You can calmly sit on a bench, listen to the tour and enjoy the beauty of the temple.

Cathedral opened at 10.30
Costs 9 euros to get in and an extra 2.50 euros to go up the tower that said you do get an audio guide included which does provide a lot of information
Inside is beautiful and there is a lot to look at in particular the chalice which is alluded to be the holy grail as has been tested and it's really old ie 1bc
You need at least a hour plus to look around

Jardí del Túria - Tram VIII is a picturesque park in Valencia that follows the path of a former riverbed, offering a scenic route through the city center. The 9km green space is adorned with orange trees and palm trees, providing a delightful setting for various activities such as picnicking, mini-golf, and skateboarding. Families can hire family trikes to explore this vibrant area which also features Gulliver Park with its giant slides.
I took bad pictures and I did it at night. The place is amazing, so nice for those who love running, footing, walking or just relaxing. Excellent views, very recommended!

What an amazing park this is. A haven of peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Perfect for a quiet stroll, cycle ride or even a jog or a picnic. Pitches for football basketball and other sports. If you like walking and exploring cities make use of this wherever you can as it extends throughout the city. Such a beautiful variety of trees and shrubs will provide plenty of shady spots to retreat from the heat when it gets too hot.
Valencians are so fortunate to have this incredible asset for the city, its residents and visitors.

It’s very big park thats good for Cycling, jogging, running and just leisure walk (around 9-10km).You can see very interesting trees and flowers just nice to keep up your activity. Went there during the sunny time (between 1pm-4pm) so you can imagine how hot it can be. Make sure to bring or apply sunblock when you’re planning to go be there same time as ours and don’t forget water. Oh and careful as well with animals poop as you might stomp it without you knowing it (my experience 😂) Recommended To have a visit on this park when you’re around the area.

Once a river, this park is 6km long and lower than the street level. Because of its river shape, it is a perfect place for joggers. This park has a designated track for runners with distance markers (every 100 meters). It’s also a lovely place to stroll, picnic, and do every kind of outdoor activities. It has become one of my most favorite parks in the world!

Unique and extraordinary. It makes Valencia an outstanding first choice city break with children. The park runs 9km through the centre of Valencia between the bioparc and the centre of arts and sciences, giving traffic free access by foot or bike to many of the city's attractions. The park itself is a green oasis with lanscaped gardes, playgrounds, sportsgrounds and exercise areas. Could be improved if more toilets were available and bikes could be hired and dropped-off at multiple spots.

The Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias is an extremely impressive state-of-the-art science complex set within a landscaped park with a huge aquarium & IMAX screen. The architect Santiago Calatrava is largely responsible for the stunning architecture, which has been met with mixed reactions from Valencians. It's well worth visiting for the beauty and scale of the buildings, as well as the variety of exhibits on offer.
Amazing place. One of my favorite spots and definitely a must visit if you are in Valencia. The complex was designed by Santiago Calatrava and the architecture is just amazing. It includes different buildings, each one really beautiful and overall is a great place for pictures and for taking a walk.
I bought a ticket that included visits to the science museum, a movie and the aquarium. I do not think the entrance to all of these it's worth it, but you can try, specially if you come with children.

I provide the review for the complex only.. as we did not have time to go inside the premises.
To be honest, the architectural designs are extremely amazing. I cannot describe how it really impressed me. You can see from the pictures and video. The best is to experience the complex in the afternoon and enjoying the sunset to take pictures.
We love the water entertainment too.
Definitely in love with this place in addition to the paellas 🥳

Much fun for kids and grown ups. The science museum is one of the most interactive ones I've been to.
The aquarium was well maintained, even though a bit expensive.
Took us the good part of a whole day to cover both, ideally they should be done one a day. Buy your tickets in advance for sure, even for weekdays.

Special place, different and a must visit if you are in Valencia. Well served by means of transport and 10 minutes from the center. Futuristic structure, you can visit the botanical garden. the science museum, the innovation pavilion and what is on offer in the period you are in. Unfortunately, we came across a short period of exhibition and we still appreciated the architecture, the beautiful swimming pool with the equipment that you can rent. A moment of relaxation. You can also rent bicycles to go to the park next door or visit the exhibition space which is very large.

Amazing place. Even if you don't visit any of the buildings there, its still a great place to just take a walk and enjoy the amazing architecture. You can take a boat ride, grab a quick drink or sandwich at the small food stand. There is a small park there where you can sit on the grass and admire the view.
I visited l'oceanográfico, it was nice. The kids would enjoy it the most, I think. It takes about 2-3 hours to fully enjoy it, and taking your time at each room.

If you like Architecture, photography, and wandering around in warm weather then this is probably the place for you. The architecture is amazing and provides countless photo opportunities. The only downside was that when I visited (mid June 2023) there was a stage built by the science building that obscured many views and I understood it was there all summer as they had a number of concerts planned in the space. Also, at night it appeared that a lot of the lights went off at 10pm, and only the opera building seemed to leave the lights on later.
Michael Sutherland — Google review
The architecture is incredible. Each of the structures has distinctive features but maintains the space age style of the site.
You can buy a range of entrance tickets depending on which attractions you wish to visit, the oceanographic being the most expensive.
Also, it's only possible to enter the Opera House as part of a guided tour at set times.
If you feel adventurous, you can hire a board or boat and shoot around the lake for a while.
Each place is fascinating and worth a visit. You can also go in and out of the Science Museum as many times as you please during the day.

Absolutely loved this place as the glass and skeleton like architecture goes so well with the water surrounding the buildings. The buildings and gardens are maintained well and they are very clean. We happened to visit when there was a Christmas market which was lovely as they had a variety of food stalls and gift shops. We didn’t enter any of the buildings but a walk around here and the park is a great way to spend the day!

Amazing place. It looks like it’s from the future and I love it. You need to spend a full day there to really enjoy. I spent most of the time in the museum of Science and I loved the concept. There was a section for history of music, for the earth and mars and also different experiments you could try about a lot of scientific subjects. It is very educational and fund for children and people of all ages. I had fun.

These amazing futuristic buildings in Valencia are a must see. We visited on a cruise and the shuttle bus dropped up in the town centre where there are plenty of historic buildings to view. But I wanted to see the HEMISFERIC structure and other "star trek style futuristic buildings" and WOW WOW WOW. Thanks to Google maps and a cheap local bus ride to get us there.
glyn moore (ytgvmtv) — Google review
The low rating is specifically for the science museum. I paid €9 and it was a total waste of money. The building itself is incredible, but you can see it for free from the outside. The exhibits inside are 90% Spanish with no translations. Everything felt disorganized which was a shame given how much space they had to work with. This could’ve been an amazing place to visit, but save your money and just walk through the lobby and visit the outside areas.

The Oceanographic aquarium in Valencia is the largest of its kind in Europe and contains nearly 500 different species of marine life. The building owes its impressive concrete roofing to the architect Felix Candela, who designed it as a magical space of water and wildlife. Visitors are able to explore different sections of the aquarium over the course of four hours, and it is definitely worth reserving time in your itinerary in Valencia to visit!
This is one of the best attractions in Valencia. Some people in their reviews say you will be done in an hour and a half but we spend over 2 hours and we enjoyed every minute. We spend so much time watching each of the animals, they were all so amazing to see. The dolphin show is around 10 am or 11 so get there early as the seats fill up fast. Some of the best parts were the sea lions, the flamingos, and the most unique part was the tunnel where you walk underneath stingrays, manta rays, sharks, jellyfish. You can see their features up close it's amazing.

I visited L'Oceanogràfic on a rainy day in Valencia, and it turned out to be the perfect indoor activity. The aquarium is massive and incredibly well-maintained. The sea life creatures appear happy and healthy, making it a truly enjoyable experience. It was a fantastic decision for a rainy day outing.
The location is awesome, the parking is quite convenient.
I’d recommend to book the tickets in advance. This place can get quite busy on weekends and holidays.

I think it is a bit expensive for what you can see in the aquarium. Some animals, like the penguins were kept in a very small space and the dolphin show was a bit uncomfortable to watch, there are like 18 of them in a pool that is not big enough for them to swim and more so being so many of them being kept there...
I liked the layout, that you can be outside from one part of the Aquarium to another, but for that money I was expecting the animals to be in bigger and better places, sort of like the aquarium in Lisbon.
Also most of the vending machines were broken and it was very difficult to get a drink.
But overall it was good, especially the tunnel where you could enjoy seeing a great variety of sea life swimming around!

So much more than an aquarium. We spent hours there and didn't get to see it all. The kids had a great time hoping from one creature exhibit to the next. The animals all seem to be top priority and well cared for. So many different animals to see and very up close.
Tye dolphin show was a clear favourite. Lots of fun and amazing tricks. Make sure you arrive early because there is limited seating.

The place in total was really cool, and we had great experiences there. They had everything from tropical fish, to birds to penguins! They also had a dolphin show, which happens every few hours, and that was white cool also, and they also translated everything. Which was good. It does take a long time to visit everything, and I would say you need at least 5 hours to visit everything. The tickets were quite expensive, as for everything, we ended up paying 170€ for 4 adults and 1 child. The food there was also very good, however it was slightly expensive too. Overall, the place was really cool, and I would recommend. But beware, we went here even when it wasn't the crowded season, and it was still pretty full, so you might want to buy tickets earlier, depending on what time of year you want to go.

A magnificent aquarium. You can spend almost a full day in it. An aquarium that hosts animals that you may not see in your life. It is very pleasant to walk in. Every detail is very well thought out. You can also coincide with events inside. There was an event with dolphins. Although I was against the use of animals in these events for commercial reasons, it was a good event. I felt sorry for the small area reserved for penguins. I am saddened by the confinement of living things that were brought from their natural habitats to small spaces.

Boss day out. Kids love it here. Lots to do and seem food is good but expensive. Toilets everywhere which is always a plus with 4 little kids. Not like your usual aquarium can spend a good part of the day here and not go bored. Dolphin show is good. So are the shark area. Lots of good stuff and good staff. 4D show is also good abs with the extra for the shark one.

Huge place that will require several hours for the best visit. Make sure to keep your kids well fed and happy to ensure that everyone will have a good time in yours and the others' groups.
The exhibition will be crowded at times so have patience.
The dolphin show is a must see. I watched it twice because, to be honest, it was a bit hard to follow. Young children around me thought the dolphin show was too much talk and too little action. When something cool actually happened they missed it because they didn't know where to look.I also weren't prepared when and where they would perform a trick.
Penguins would have been so fun to see but the window on that exhibition was a bit dirty and had water droplets all over it making it a bit hard to see clearly. This diminished the possibilities of an amazing, once in a lifetime, experience.
All in all, at first I thought it felt expensive but was actually very good value for money. If you visit Valencia and have the time and the money, go there.

Had a very nice experience with my family here. It was the main thing we enjoyed in Valencia. For anyone that is a lover of animals and oceanic life than I would recommend spending a couple hours here. We also got to witness the dolphin show where they taught us about the latest technology used in research and I found that really interesting.
NOTE: We bought our tickets at the front office like a lot of other people. Definitely don’t need to book in advance unless you want to skip the line.

Recommending buying tickets in advance so you can skip the line. Need to know exact day and time of the visit to do so. There are some discounts if you buy combo tickets with other landmarks in the city. You can google it to see which ones. Also you need at least 4 hours to see all parts of the place, its really big. Dolphins show is worth it.

Such a great aquarium. I’ve visited many aquariums and this one is definitely top 5. So many different animals to see. I liked how they separated most of them by locations (where they would be found in the wild). They had very informative signs. Even though there were a lot of people, it didn’t feel overly crowded. We had a great time.

I did not know what to expect, but this place is really special. The buildings and facilities are amazing. You really need to 3 to 4 hours to see all well. The Delphine show is good (included as part of ticket price), but not super amazing, however it’s great for kids to learn. The shark tunnel is fantastic!

A diverse range of aquatic life on exhibit. Displays with an environmental theme are located throughout and feature powerful statements about pollution & plastics. Food services were not plentiful on site, but there are many nearby. Entrance price was a bit steep, but comparable to similar attractions in major cities.

This is definitely 100 times better than bioparc. It's got a huge space almost like the Disneyland of aquariums. It's easy to spend 4-6 hours here except the food options are terrible here so some people suggested bringing your own food. The dolphin show also is very boring, maybe it's very humane and kind to the dolphins but there was 70 percent lecture on saving the dolphins and 30 percent show. Kids couldn't even sit through it, the Spanish audience were the best though, they were singing and dancing thru the music which was much more interesting than the disorganized dolphins. To compare, even a tiny aquarium in Hokkaido Japan had a better dolphin show. However they do have some really cool tanks. I
There was one underwater tunnel they had Atlantic fish which was not so pretty bit there was another tunnel with sharks and tortoises. It's very cool. The bird case was a cool structure but looks better from the outside than from the inside. The octopus is totally cool to look at. The whole area is pretty big but it's not too hard to walk it all. Not really sure I saw it all but the kids were too tired to keep going after 5 hours. Highly recommend the sharks, penguins, belugas, flamingos and the octopus. Very very fun place. Worth the entrance.

This place is a true gem, and here's why:
The Oceanographic is incredibly well-maintained, showcasing an impeccable level of care for both the marine life and the visitors. The size of the facility is impressive, offering a vast and diverse array of exhibits to explore. It's like stepping into a world of aquatic diversity and beauty.
One of the standout features of the Oceanographic is its cleanliness. Everywhere I looked, the facility gleamed with cleanliness, making the visit all the more enjoyable. It's evident that the staff takes great pride in maintaining a pristine environment for both the animals and guests.
The exhibit layout is both extensive and well-organized, with various buildings dedicated to different marine themes. Whether you're fascinated by sharks, mesmerized by dolphins, or curious about penguins, there's something here for everyone. The diverse range of exhibits ensures that you'll never run out of new and exciting things to see.
The quality of the exhibits and the welfare of the marine life were top-notch. It's clear that the Oceanographic is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment for the animals. From playful dolphins to majestic jellyfish, the experience is nothing short of magical.

Fantastic place! We spent over 7 hours here, strolling around the outdoor exhibits, watching the dolphin show, and going through the many underground exhibits showcasing a wide variety of fish including sharks, rays and eels, as well as turtles, seals, beluga whales, and penguins. And so many birds - flamingos, ducks, ibis, swans, and spoonbills. Take your time! It's well worth the price of admission.
This aquarium is well maintained and clean. Animals appear well taken care of. Staff are very friendly and most speak English.
We went in January, with no lineups, but still recommend buying tickets online ahead of time. Got to go straight in! Be aware you can bring in water bottles to drink, but no food allowed. This is to make sure you don't feed the animals. Reasonable request considering the circumstances!
This was definitely a highlight of our stay in Valencia. Highly recommend going for the day!

Awesome. We loved it. The spaces are out of this world. I love how it puts a lot of focus on the environment. We booked the backstage tour that takes you inside and explain how the water filtration works. Our guide Nuria was very knowledgeable and replied all our questions.
Also in case anyone needs it there are lockers, the size might fit a very small carry on, but otherwise I wouldn't take any luggage with you here.
We also tried the 4D movie theater, it was very good. An amazing experience, I believe it was only 3 euros. It's a must see in Valencia.

Great place for the whole family, beautiful surroundings outside and the aquarium itself is really well managed and spacious. Even when busy, it’s quite easy to look around. It’s a fair bit of walking but lots of places to sit down.

Wow what a big and beautiful aquarium.
I’ve visited some aquariums and I’ve never been to one where they pay so much attention to the animals and how big their living environments are.
This is how we’ve ended up spending almost 4,5 hours here, something we couldn’t imagine beforehand. There are a lot different animals to see. Very good of the park to separate most of them by locations (where they would be found in the wild). Must say that the signage in English is very good and placed at every item.

Love the park. We had very nice weather so that is also a plus. But it's recommended to pay a visit. Only the Dolphin show was not what I expected. A little short in my opinion. But a lot fish and beautiful Aquariums to see.

The Castle of Cullera is a restored hilltop castle dating back to the 10th century, offering scenic water views and housing a museum. Situated in the coastal town of Cullera, in Valencia, Spain, it provides panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The castle has historical significance as it was involved in battles and reconstructions over the centuries.
Despite the Castle of Cullera being closed, the view from the hill was absolutely stunning, offering a panoramic perspective of Cullera and the Mediterranean Sea. The castle's exterior hints at a rich history, leaving me eager to return and explore its historical charm in the future.

This place is magical! This is our second time here this spring and it never disappoints. I would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway for an afternoon. There is a small cafe at the top of the castle outside the church but it did not look big. It looked like a nice place to have a cafe but we like to go eat at one of the many restaurants on the beach below.

The castle itself is worth visiting, the view is amazing. However the gift shop is poor unless you want to buy devotional articles. Cafe is not welcoming, the smell of old oil put us off and we didn't try any of their delicacies.

You have some very cool views from up there. People with reduced mobility can access the Museum by elevator and to a first floor with a platform, from there there is no further accessibility further up. Very friendly staff. The cost of entry to the Castle is €3 and if you have a disability it is €1. You can go up by car, there is parking, if you have reduced mobility you have an elevator that takes you to the entrance of the Castle at no cost for those with reduced mobility, otherwise it costs €1 to go up and another to go down. You can also take the stairs for those who can walk.

Parking (limited when busy) at the base (use toilets there!) if you can weave your way through Cullera to the access road. Funicular available from parking to the castle/cafe entrance.
Views spectacular!
Staff totally amiable and helpful.
Approach on foot is quite steep and long.
Interior not really suited to those with mobility problems.

NOT It is advisable to go up from the Del Mar side because it is a boring road for cars. Better on the other side - it's a special walking route.
There is also a €1 lift for people who don't want to walk up.
At the height of the castle there is a simple cafe.

It's okay, not much to go around. We went 10:00 here. If you are thinking to buy ticket in advance I advice you not because the woman in the entrance is not there always, and you can have the same view without entering. Better also to pack your own food (I pack tuna sandwich, try it lol) and water to save (8 Euro if u ask for taxi just going there , 3 euros for entrance, 2 euros for souvenir coin)

El castillo está muy bien conservado y la guía está fenomenal si llevas instalada la aplicación de castillos con audioguía gratuita. El único problema es que aparcar legalmente arriba en el castillo es difícil porque hay pocas plazas así que hay que llegar pronto.

Amazing place if you like history, cheap entry also. The view you have over Cullera from the mountaintop is breathtaking, for 1 euro coins you can use the mounted binoculars.

Very simple but I was not able to visit the castle or the interior of the church but I will return to see it and see if I change my opinion. This time it was enjoying the views from the viewpoint and having a drink at the small bar there. What I found quite deficient was that the bar does not have services and those in the place were closed and it was a problem since such a remote and touristy place should be open all the time and the bar should have them too. With access to hiking routes. It's a shame that the weather won't be good as it was cloudy but with good weather I think the views should be much better. At night it can be a romantic place to take your partner to spend a nice moment looking at the horizon or for a sunrise or sunset. The elevator was not working either and the only thing that worked were the machines to withdraw coins from that place, there being two of different currencies, I recommend the one at the top, not the one with the brass coins.
A place that could be much better organized without a doubt.
The MUSEU FALLER DE GANDIA is a creative museum that showcases exhibits related to the annual Falles festival. It features a café and friendly staff who can speak English. Visitors can gain a better understanding and appreciation of the festival after visiting this small but impressive museum. The museum does not repeat too many words from its input, making it an excellent paraphrasing tool for summarizing information in correct standard English.

Carrer Sant Martí de Porres, 29, 46702 Gandia, Valencia, Spain
The Ducal Palace of Gandia is a historical landmark that dates back to the early 1300s. Throughout its history, it has been occupied by the Borja dukes of Gandia and boasts opulent Gothic and Baroque interiors. Though remodeled in the 19th century, original details are still present in the building. The Salon de las Coronas is among several lavish rooms while the Galeria Dorada stands out with its decorated rooms and tiled floor depicting the four elements.

Very interesting, beautiful pictures and ceilings. The golden gallery is stunning.
It' just a pity that it looks very uninteresting from outside, you would pass it without a second glance if you didn' t know it was there, and the surrounding buildings are also not very appeaing.
Lets just say that the setting is not great.
On the plus side: very friendly staff, a good sound guide and an easy underground parking next door.
Forget about a stroll through Gandia though, its very depressing!

This is a beautifully preserved historical palace. You can get a guided tour, audio guide, and some days dramatic guided tours. Museo Cueva de Dragut, also known as Dragut's Caves, is a fascinating historical site in Cullera, Spain. These caves were once used as a hideout by the infamous Ottoman pirate Dragut during the 16th century. Situated along the coast of Cullera, this attraction offers visitors an intriguing look into the region's past. The natural cave is filled with artifacts such as swords, guns, and model boats from that era.
Hidden attractions near Cullera's Lighthouse. Stairs take you to the cafetería and entrance to the museum inside the cave. Guided tour is very good as guide explain the history of the pirates and artifacts in all underground chambers. It has a small ship with a broken mast. Guided tour ends with a lights and sound show of a storm at sea. It is a cool tour for the price. After visiting the cave we walked outside up to the hill to see a hermitage, a sculpture with two huge hands and a natural balcony to see the lighthouse from the distance.

A curious place, well worth a visit, even if you are not interested in special effects and superficial pirate stories. It's a huge, peculiarly winding natural cave, quite atmospheric, and with a bit of imagination you can almost "see" bad old pirates hiding there in the mid-sixteenth century. There are many old artefacts - sables, guns, jugs models of boats etc. I was given an individual tour by an earnest young guide, in English. Pity I wasn't allowed to take photos. There is also a café by the entrance, which is rather handy.

Free to enter and walk around, but probably not worth the trip out from Valencia for. There are information points across the town but these disappear once inside the castle grounds itself, so you’re left with an odd mixture of Roman ruins, apparently medieval gates, and then recently renovated concrete additions. Hard to tell what you were looking at.
Tom Beck — Google review
We were there on a Monday when it was closed. Still climbed the hill to see the castle, the views were amazing. You can completely walk around the castle and there are information boards. When we reached the other side we thought we could as well go around completely, but at some point there were no clear paths and sometimes we had to climb down from rocks. The views are also not that great from there so it’s better to just turn around when you reach the first half. Also make sure to wear good shoes.

Amazing history. Great walk around. People complained that it's in ruins, but I thought there was still plenty to see. There is virtually no parking. Bathrooms were broken when we were there. Google maps did not give the correct directions to get there. We did eventually find it on our own. If you go to the old city center you will be able to find your way and people to help with directions from there. This is across the bridge from when we entered town then back over on another bridge just on the other side.

A nice, big castle with remnants from different periods. If you just know what and where to look for, this place is like a journal spanning millenia.
Pieces from Roman rule, Arabs, French and what not!!
- The hike from Sagunto train station isn't difficult, I'd say 3/10 on difficulty scale
- Entry is free
- There are not many signages, jus go there for exploration
- Phenomenal 360 degree views
- The visitor centre houses some historic artefacts
- There is also a small museum inside the castle, with mostly Roman era inscriptions
Now, some of the restoration is done with modern methods and if you are hardcore history buff, you'd be disappointed.
Nevertheless, worth visiting once.

The views from the castle are truly spectacular. The museum, while very interesting, doesn't provide much information.
This place is not for you if you aren't in shape. There is a LOT of climbing involved to reach the entrance, and more climbing, and scrambling over rocks, once you're inside.
That said, if you're fit it's definitely worth seeing and taking the time to look around.
If you don't want to climb all the way to the top, there is a small, Roman amphitheater that has been restored and is easily reachable and worth seeing.

Beautiful place, one of the most impressive I saw.
It is incredible that it is there, and to think what it was like in its heyday, the entire site it covered, and how old it is.
Whenever I can I stop by again and discover that I like it a little more.
Although it lacks a little maintenance, it is a great place to go for a walk, to sit and rest, to hang out.
And from where you see it, it looks beautiful, but I think one of the best (distant) postcards you can have is from the road bridge at the Renfe station (Sagunto), it is spectacular as you see it.

Extensive 900m-long cavern system with rock formations like stalactites & stalagmites, plus fossils.
Very beautiful cave with mysterious atmosphere. Not too many people so you can enjoy your own time. It’s a secret place where you can go.

Was a good place to have a short visit and a coffee. Entrance was only 4.95€ for a visit into the caves. The 500m long cave was very interesting and was suitable for people with reduced mobility if car taken. A slatted walkway throughout the length of the cave. Some good photo opportunities and interesting finds. Finished off by a coffee and sandwich at the café/ souvenir shop.

Great cave for the whole family, they have ramps and the whole cave is on the level.
Not a very long route, but still well worth it.
They have a gift shop and cafe.
The caves are easily accessible by vehicle.
A nice time, thank you to the stage and the Valencian community.
(I hope the photos are ok)

Fascinating cave and history. More of a brief visit, it does not take long to look round but a beautiful cave all the same with some really impressive chambers. As a caver it would have been nice to see some water flow in there but I believe it was redirected. Gift shop absolutely rammed with crystals and rocks/minerals. We spent ages in there!

Really small cave! It's a 2 minute walk. Fun if you are interested in the history and want to cool down. It has a nice little store next to the cave where you can grab a drink. The cave was below my expectations..

Stunning cave with exquisite stalactites and stalagmites. One looked like a diving dragon to me! At the entrance there are gorgeous geodes for sale and at the end, you will see a crystal clear underground river (though behind glass). We prefer self guided tours and enjoyed the walk through this cave immensely.

A worth while trip to see this wonder of nature, breath taking caves and nice staff work here treat yourself to a trip here no rushing you and the bar/cafè and shop are an added bonus free parking and a clement temp inside the caves not at all damp, I'd go back to see stuff I probably missed. 10/10

A really amazing cave to visit. For me it was impressive to see the layers in the rock wall, with bones and fossils. You get to see with your own eyes what you learn in theory and it's a very good place for kids to see and learn about our distant past.

Visited the caves with my family. Caves are wheelchair/stroller friendly and absolutely awe inspiring. A very educational and fascinating experience. We have been twice already.

This cavern would match Castleton in Derbyshire, but for a quarter of the price with free parking. A very relaxed atmosphere, take your time to wander, excellent lighting, wheelchair friendly, stunning colours and some English written commentary (if getting a little dog-eared). Second visit and just as impressive in a typically understated Spanish way. Nice cafe attached where you buy your tickets.

An amazing cave complex in Benidoleig. This is a suitable place for people of all ages to visit. There is a very nice shop (where you pay your admission fee) for souvenirs; there is a pleasant café and outside seating area. The tour may prove challenging for people with mobility issues. Great place to visit if the sun is ..1. Not out or 2. Way to fierce. Plenty of shopping and easy access
Food choices are great let down only by the slightly limited seating arrangements . Gets a bit confusing if you are with a larger group and you want to eat at different places. Other than that would highly recommend

This mall is great, lots of nice stores and coffee stops. The food hall has variety, and everyone working in the mall is so helpful and friendly! A big plus is that there are many English speakers as well, my Spanish us not great, but I'll give it a go.

Large shoppingmall in the Calpe-Denia region. Around it also numerous shops for all your needs.
On the other hand it is not that large, in number of shops. It is well setup, organised, and has all the facilities you would need.
The atmosphere is a bit more high-end-ish compared to what i have seen in Spain (Torrevieja, Alicante, Valencia, Barcelona).

5* shopping mall in Ondara. Great place to get out of the heat. It has an Ali hop shop and the shop called Casa is a good shop for all your home needs. Then stop for a coffee or a cold drink. Excellent.

It's a shopping centre, what would you expect? 4 stars because whilst shopping centres are generally horrible, at least this one is in Spain, is airy, not over-crowded and has an OK selection of restaurants, such as Lizaran. Lots of parking and consumer goods to waste your money on. Enjoy...

Decent selection of fashion stores kept my teenage daughter happy and I was surprised how much was there really based on its location.
Gary D — Google review
Great centre, full of well-known affordable shops, acceptable selection of places to eat, although mostly are expensive fast food. Cinema is good. The design of the building gives a sense of claustrophobia as there is only one exit to the outdoors, and the rest is all very enclosed, leaving you feeling a a loss of time, not knowing if it is day or night and lacking of fresh air.

I live in the United States, where shopping malls are a dying breed. The stores are uninteresting and primarily cater to the 18-30 year olds. Most people order clothing and other items on the internet.
What a pleasant surprise to walk through the Portal de la Marina. The stores were inviting, full of color and selections with a lot of people shopping. The mall was spotless and included a wonderful grocery store along with small restaurants, nail salons, etc.
The malls in the USA are boring. This one was exciting!

Having been on a regular basis to La Marina, just outside Benidorm. We for the first time have discovered a much better shopping centre which has far more designer shops. A lovely food court and with many other stores located all around the shopping centre. Loads of free parking spaces. Definitely worth the extra 10 minutes drive. We will definitely be visiting again in the near future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Gary Green — Google review
Shopping centre is good but the walking access from Ondara over the footbridge bridge is terrible as the lifts are never working. It is impossible to get up and down the stairs of the footbridge to the centre if you have a baby in a pushchair /pram and if you are disabled. We need a better access maybe a ramp should be put there.

Coves de Sant Josep offers guided boat trips and hikes through a subterranean river that dates back to the Triassic era, making it the longest in Europe. Visitors can enjoy a 45-minute leisurely boat ride along the underground river, covering approximately 800 meters. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, guests will explore various rooms within the caves, including the Bat Room, Dianas Lake, Siphon Gallery, Dry Zone, and Cathedral.
Really nice and great place to be out of the sun. We bought tickets in advance but ended up running late and had to wait 30 mins before they had space for our group.
Got lucky and had a boat to ourselves and our tour guide managed to speak some English so was able to tell us about the caves, stalactites some history and how they had yet to find the source of the clear water. Super friendly gentleman 🙂
We loved the light show at the end of the ride and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There are many low ceilings so there was much of the journey where we had mind our heads and dodge.

Is a very beautiful caves. Boat will take you cross the river to see the caves. Only one thing I don’t like is the transit. If you want to go by your self and save time only way can work is take taxi cost around $60euro per each ways. Otherwise can take local bus to go. It will take around 2 and half hr each ways.
Prudence Wong — Google review
A great way to spend an hour, but book in advance to ensure your place or that you don't have a wait for your visit. The wooden boats hold 12 people and you are directed where to sit on the benches along each side to ensure stability.
There is a guide who poles the boat along and provides some details about the caves etc, in Spanish of-course, and our command of the language wasn't good enough to understand, but we still enjoyed the visit.
The caves are very low in places so you have to watch out and duck down to avoid a knock on the head. For this reason, there are only certain places, where the cavern is large, where it is safe enough to take photos.
The visit takes 45 minutes and after a short boat ride, you alight and wander through the caves for 200m. The floor is smooth concrete, but the width and height varies. At the end of this one-way walk, the boat meets you again so you have a longer ride back.
We booked in advance (as I needed to fit the visit into our schedule) and for 14,50€ each, we visited on Friday 28 April 2023. There were many visitors entering 30 minutes apart and I counted five boats of up-to 12 people in each for the trip after ours (as we had to wait for them all to pass).

A very beautiful underground river to be visited when you are nearby Valencia.
Interior cave holds 20 Degrees Celsius and the river holds 17 Degrees Celsius for the entire year.
Amazingly lighted and a beautiful surprise awaits you at the end of the underground journey.
It is kids friendly! I recommend it!

Beautiful experience! It is definitely worth a visit when in Valencia! We rented a car and it was about a 45 min drive, free parking outside. There are some restaurants, shops and an ice cream store next to the entrance of the caves. When visiting the caves you go in boats deep into the mountain. The guide explains everything very nicely and with lots of humor! I went with my teenagers and they loved it too.
Maria Sandmark — Google review
It was a wonderful experience. A visit to Valencia without a visit to San Jose Cave is not complete. The staffs are amazing, and the cave is well maintained while safety precautions are adhered to at all times to ensure the safety of all visitors and tourists. Added to this, the ticket is not expensive if you go there by yourself and not use a tour guide. It cost just 14£ to experience this amazing cave. Before you go into the caves, there are lots of cafes where you can grab something to eat. Ice cream, drinks, food, etc. You can as well do this when you come out of the cave.
If you are driving by yourself to the cave, there are lots of parking spaces to park your car safely. Don't ever worry about that. I don't know the price for parking but I am sure it won't cost anything. The car park is not far away from the main entrance and that is why I will recommend you drive there if you can as this will save you some money.
I need to say that photos and videos are bot allowed while you are in the cave. This is to prevent tourists' safety so they don't hit their head on the rock while taking a picture or videos. However, you will be giving some time, which is about 5 minutes at a safe spot in the cave to take good quality pictures. For those who would like to swim, you can do that within the 5 minutes, but who would choose to swim and ignore taking good pictures.
If I ever visit Valencia again, I will do this over and over again.

Beautiful caves in a wonderful little town. There are so many great places to eat and drink a beer or wine. Be sure to get your tickets online before you visit as it was sold out our first try. We did the cave tour which was about 45 minutes and then went to eat. After lunch we hiked on a few of the many trails. Our friends drove their camper van and were able to camp easily. Forgot to mention there were a few historic points in the trails and on the lookout.

What a great stop for an hour to see some gorgeous and natural beauty.
The caves don’t feel claustrophobic at all even when going through small parts due to the beautiful blue water.
The staff were all friendly and we loved the boat.
I wish the tour could have been in English as I felt we missed a lot during the boat tour.
Watch out for the special finale near the end!

It was great! The guide was super nice, and answer all the questions we had, the place is gorgeous and they even have a light and music show inside. Keep in mind that you are only allowed to take pictures in certain areas

Very nice boat tour of about 40 minutes through the caves. The tour guide didn’t allow us to take pictures on the first half of the tour, but on the second half, we were allowed to take pictures. We paid €10 per person on a group trip, which was a good price.

Probably one of the best underground caves with a river I have ever seen! worth to visit this place for sure! Inside the cave you will use small boats and maybe walking around 200-300 meters. So is accessible for anyone and any age. For tickets is better to buy them in advance at least one day before!
Vasilis Karakostas — Google review
This place is incredible with a very unique cave where you swim on a boat. The lighting there is spot on which allows to see both the ceiling and the river floor. The only downside is always lowering your head so you don't get hit but that's part of the fun :).
I would recommend buying tickets in advance only if you're 100% sure you'll make it to the time you have chosen, oversize buy tickets when you arrive.
Artemiy Pod — Google review
These caves are about 45 min outside of Valencia. I recommend booking a tour to make it stress free because you will not have to drive there or wait in line to buy tickets and your tour guide should provide a history of the area along the way, The caves are beautiful. It is a comfortable temperature of 20 celsius inside. You ride a boat thru the tunnels and caves. Then you walk for a little bit and then you get back in your boat and go back through the tunnels and caves but this time you can take pictures. On the return ride you stop in the open area for a music and light show before the exit. There are a few shops and a place to eat in the town. And there's also an old Monastery at the top of the stairs above the stores. It was not a long tour but it was fun for all and something different fr9m the usual shops or Unesco sites. I highly recommend it.

Discovered after moving to the area in July. Have taken three lots of visitors there as we thought it was excellent. Reasonably priced, well organised tour and the guides (one guy in particular) are so enthusiastic and share their knowledge in a really engaging way.

Absolutely spectacular- went on a quiet weekday in October. Lovely cafes outside for breakfast, easy parking. I pre-booked online. Guides were informative. I would definitely go again for their concerts in summer if I’m lucky enough to be back. Surrounding area full of natural beauty.

Very enjoyable and relaxing experience. Floating through the caves enjoying the beautiful sights in the relatively cool surroundings was a great way to enjoy a very hot day. Our only problem was that the guide, although very good, gave a lot of information in Spanish and only spoke English when directly asked a question. We do speak a little Spanish but not at the level he was communicating. I feel we as tourists could have got a lot more from the experience had there been perhaps one of the four boats for English speaking tourists with an English guide.
Thank you so much Ian David for guiding us on a wonderful trip exploring the caves. Very knowledgeable and informative with great English.

Great trip, loved the boat.
There was a guide, but in Spanish, it would have been good to have been an English tour as well
Dawn Wigley — Google review
Not worth visiting. The paths between the galleries and caves are not natural. It was created by blasting the rock with TNT. I saw a lot's of broken stalactites that will never recover. Also the bed of the river was filled with sand and cleaned from rocks and debris. Not many parts of the cave system remained untouched. Tourist trap.
Ilja Lahovskis — Google review
Spectacular day trip from Valencia’s. About 45 minutes by car to get here, an hour long boat tour in Europe’s longest underground river, and stunning rock formations. We want to come back for the kayak tour ASAP. There is free covered parking next to the caves. Around the cave entrance there are a handful of bars and restaurants. The fanciest one would need a reservation, though we went to a cheaper one and has no wait for lunch. Alternatively, we found out later about some food trucks in the city center about 5-10 minutes away.
M Hernandez — Google review
Really great experience it is the longest navigable underground river in Europe, very close to Valencia, they do 2 types of trips, you can go in a boat for 800 meters and then a 250 metre walk, or you can do it in a single or double kayak, which is what we did, you even get the chance to swim in the water. Fantastic experience and would highly recommend it.

Families can enjoy the lively atmosphere with plenty of bars and activities for kids, including rides.

During the summer evenings, this square is teaming with life. The square itself is surrounded by many bars, Scottish, Irish English and Spanish. There are a few convenient shops here. Also a traditional English fish and chip shop. In the Main Square, there is a large stage during the summer which has various acts on. Unfortunately, over the years the acts aren’t much to talk about. And you will find better entertainment in the Caledonian bar in the far left corner of the square. All the bars have seating outside, so there is plenty of seating and tables. Most of the bars have waiter or waitress service, and so you can order your drinks from your table. It is very popular during the daytime as well, but most popular of a night with families. Most of the bars are reasonably priced and have a white selections of beers spirits and wines. You can’t go wrong spending an evening in the square.

Admittedly I arrived at around 10am when the place was meant to be just opening but it's far from what I would class as a shopping mall. It's mainly pubs with a couple of souvenir shops. Maybe I went at the wrong time of year but if I'm honest, it lacks any sort of atmosphere. Unless you're a celtic fan there's literally nothing for you.
Plus the outdoor seating arrangements are a joke, the smallest bar claims the biggest chunk of outdoor seating when in my opinion it should just be shared or you get the seating that's directly outside your bar!
All in all, it's not great, even the bloke who runs the kids arcade is rude and has the personality of a goldfish.

The Western Water Park is a family-friendly water park that has an Old West theme. It features areas specifically designed for toddlers, as well as high slides and rides on rubber rings. Although some of the attractions were closed, visitors can enjoy unlimited access to the open ones on cloudy days when there are fewer crowds. The park also offers ample space for picnics since food prices are steep.
My 6 yr old, who has no fear - loved this. Loved the flumes, wave machine and big buckets that filled then tipped water. My 2yr old daughter loved the pools, though was too small to do any of the flumes on her own and adults not allowed on kids ones.
Food was quite expensive €16 for hot dog/burger meal.
Sunbeds at each area were €5 each.

Entrance fee 30€, parking 5€, locker 5€ Not to mention food and drinks. 17/09 the weather was amazing, the park was not busy.
Entrance was fine and fluent, lockers they put everyone next to each other at the same time (still covid) they could spread the giving keys of the lockers more.
The park looks old and with poor maintainment. Leaks everywhere, spiderwebs, ants, tall grass. All the slides need a paintjob!
But the slides that are working (3 of them were closed) are really nice experience.
The lifeguards. I dont know how to rate these! The first blonde girl we saw was not wearing her mask all day and did not seem to enjoy working there, always busy complaining to her collegues instead of actually paying attention to the guests. Most of the lifeguards were friendly and helpfull and then we met Guan Luca and Paula, both greeted us with the biggest smile and jokes. And they made our experience worth that extra star if not this park review would have been a lot worse. It shows that if you have friendly staff you can get away with being greedy management.
In general I would recommend finding a cheaper deal and wait until out of highseason to visit the park.

I went on 3rd of October. 7 hours opened, more than enough time for fun. Bus stop right there, also plenty of parking spaces.
Beautiful weather, not too crowded, I bought my ticket online with a 10€ supplement of fast pass (which turned out to be unnecessary as it wasn't that busy) and 5€ for the sunbed. Another 6€ for renting a locker for the day. The rides are thrilling, plenty of them to choose from. All the buildings look like taken from an old western movie. Only 2 places open that sold food, drinks and desserts. Expensive, it's better to bring your own food and eat it at a picnic area. So overall nice place, but on the expensive side adding all the other costs.

Went on a cloudy day so was quiet. Managed every slide as many times as we liked,
4 slides not open tho!!
Plenty picnic space as food is very pricey here.
Great day out

Nice waterpark with good western ambiance.
I read a lot of negative criticism, but we spent there a funny day with 2 teenager boys.
On a Monday in July it was not so crowded, we had to wait longer at 2 slides only(Grand canyon and Black Hole),
the rest of the attractions had 'few minutes queue' only. Most probably during the weekend the waiting time could be longer, so you could benefit from the fastpass. FYI there are 'fast pass lanes' at almost all slides. I advise you to check it on spot first then you can buy one, if you need. The food was not bad at all, typical theme park food/price.
Be careful, bring slippers, the floor is burning hot between the slides!
And finally, to get a taxi at the exit could take time, but there is a taxi spot and the drivers appreciate the queue order - the clients do not always :(

It’s a nice clean park with up to date facilities. Smoothly run. The food is awful and double the price. The staff don’t give clear instructions , it doesn’t look like any safety measures are followed. Do t try the black and red tube slides everyone gets stuck in them. There are 2 -3 big rides where only fast access band people will make it. Unless you are willing to stay in the queue for 50 minutes/
Otherwise a nice park , pretty expensive but worth a visit.

Visited on Monday, no queues, easy to get anywhere, no need for fast track ticket. Tickets bought online are cheaper.
Food is way overpriced, for 7 onion rings you had to pay 7.90€ 🤦🏻♀️ for a burger and chips with drink 18.90€, you better bring your own food and drinks.
Slides were fun, tried almost all of them. Don’t bother to pay 10€ to water proof your phone cause they won’t let you to slide with phone, even tho it’s not mentioned anywhere on the boards of forbidden things i.e sunglasses…
In overall water park was very clean including toilets.
Car park costs 7€.

Good for a day out a good range of big slides and a smaller area for little kids. Be advised to take plenty of water and a packed lunch because the prices inside the park are extortionate. €4 for a bottle of water (750ml) had lunch (chicken nuggets/chips, sausage/chips and a 9inch pizza with 2 small drinks) €45-€50 and it wasnt all that good. Keeps the kids entertained also if getting taxis back (coaches only drop off) leave around half hour before closing, the queue is long and its hot with little shade.

Big water park with lots to do for all ages! A plethora of (teenaged) life guards for children‘s safety. The western setup is a nice idea and the theme is carried out throughout the park. But the depictions of Indians wouldn’t be considered politically correct nowadays…
There could be more maps available throughout the park though. We didn’t receive one on entry but asked for one at the souvenir shop. There’s a list of attractions at the entrance, detailing the different attractions with a helpful guide on which slide/pool is suited to which age group / height. Like the non-existent maps, these lists would also be good to have more frequently within the park.
Many people recommend the Fast Track to skip queues, but as we were mainly at toddler activities, we didn’t experience any queuing. Also water shoes are nice to have but not a must. They can be bought at the Souvenir shop.
Food, drink, ice-cream and toilets available.

Fantastic day out!! My children are 4 & 9 lots to do with both. Only downside is food is very expensive you have to pay for chairs.
Would advise booking tickets in advance.

This place is amazing! Food is not to cheep but it's more then enough for the person. We spend here a full day activity in the weekends and was absolutely not busy. The park is huge and lot of slide for small and bigger kids too. I was afraid a little bit in the beginning but all the stuff was safe. There is a safety locker,we didn't used, we left everything in our backpack and left on the grass. Nothing missed. The toilets was clean and tidy.We left at closing time at 6pm. I recommend to spend a day with your family. The park theme it's amazing! The parking is not free,If I good remember it was €4 for all day.

The park in its self is fantastic the slide range is very good something for everyone 👌! The staff are a little rude on a handful most of them are lovely! And the fact you pay 30 euro each to get in to then get charged for a locker and charges for sun loungers isn't great but it's a great place all in all had a great day

Huge park with lots of rides. We went in August so it was very busy. Expect some long queues. Fast track is really expensive. Lockers are cheap but food is expensive. You can bring your own picnic in no problem. Overall, we had a great day. Bring some pool shoes as the ground is very hot, they sell them but cheaper to buy before you go.

Absolutely loved it!
Such a good variety of rides for every age. The staff seemed very interested and friendly, so I felt safe. The theme was brilliant old fashioned buildings to replicate the western times. The restaurant was very friendly and helpful making me an allergy friendly lunch! :) overall a really good day out. £30 per person and food averaged £10-20 each. Would recommend:)

The place is amazing. Really is. But 9 out of 10 working there seem like they don't care about customers. One girl and one guy where awesome and smiled. The rest looked at their phone or seemed irritated. Food is a joke so bring your own 😂. But still. The place is awesome and we will definitely go next time where on Mallorca

Great place to spend a summer day with kids. The park is huge, with 30+ attractions, multiple levels of intensity, from chill to radical. Many options to eat inside also. The only point is that they charge extra for the lockers and the tickets are already expensive. Anyway, it is worth.
