Landmark rounded office tower with a restaurant at the top & an observation deck with city views.
We had a spectacular dinner in the JenTower.
An elevator takes you to floor 27 and from there another elevator takes you to floor 29.
The view is very nice. The food is modern and visually appealing. The quality can be described as good.
The design inside is very modern, but unfortunately a little dark.
A good place for a relaxing evening with friends.

Remarkable long and high tower in Jena, Just as marker of Jena City. Compare Eiffel Tower of Paris.

Built in 1970, JenTower is in the list of the tallest buildings in Germany. It is always in sight when you roam around Jena.
You can take an elevator and go up for 6€. The view is amazing, seeing all sides of the city. Additionally, you have chance to have a breakfast or meal there at the Tower. Personally, prices are moderate.

Jena Tower costs €6 and is a must for anyone visiting Jena.
Elevators take you up to the 27th floor in a matter of seconds and then the observation deck is on the 28th floor (another lift). The views from the top of the tower are simply spectacular with observation points around the whole tower. Remember a coat and hat! It is quite windy up there.
Would be useful to have metal plaques at the top to point out landmarks, as the paper version just flew around all over the place!

The Jentower, also known as the JenTower, is a prominent landmark and high-rise building located in the city of Jena, Germany. It is one of the tallest buildings in Thuringia, reaching a height of approximately 144 meters (472 feet). The tower is named after its main tenant, the Jenoptik Group, an international technology company specializing in photonics and optics.
The construction of the Jentower began in 1998 and was completed in 2002. It was designed by the architect Peter Kulka and features a modern architectural style. The building's exterior is characterized by a glass façade and a distinctive curved shape, which contributes to its unique appearance on Jena's skyline.
The Jentower serves as a multifunctional complex, hosting various facilities and services. It primarily serves as office space for several companies, including the aforementioned Jenoptik Group. Additionally, the tower houses a panoramic restaurant on the top floor, offering visitors a breathtaking view of Jena and its surroundings.
The Jentower has become an iconic symbol of Jena and is often featured in promotional materials and postcards representing the city. It not only provides functional office space but also contributes to the architectural diversity of the urban landscape.

City landmark which peeps can use to orient themselves when super drunk. Views from the top are gorgeous, in Jena standards. Worth going.
But the price for going to top can be reduced, in my opinion. I think it’s something like three euros. Definitely worth going after sunset

Domed planetarium for 3D/laser astronomy shows & projected rock concert screenings, plus dining.
Excellent! Worth every cent. It is only a shame that there is no option for a show in english...
Petar Bar?i? — Google review
The Planetarium is essentially a huge dome-shaped cinema, but an amazing one at that.
The oldest planetarium in the world, its dome reaches 14m providing a spectacular opportunity to see the world from every angle. Programmes are split into different categories - educational, family and music, which enables a wider variety of visitors to experience the planetarium cinema.
There is a small exhibition around the outside of the cinema and a very small shop selling lots of space-themed merchandise as well as coffee whilst you wait.
There is a restaurant on site, however the planetarium could do with a wider exhibition space to enable people to learn more about the technology used and the history of the planetarium.

Jena, the birthplace of the planetarium.
Jena is the city where the head office of Carl Zeiss Jena, an optical equipment manufacturer in the former East Germany, was located and where Carl Zeiss was founded. The world's first optical planetarium projector, the "Zeiss Model 1" was manufactured at the head office factory.
The Zeiss Planetarium opened in 1926 and the building is listed as a historical monument.
It looks like a small dome-shaped building. When you enter the planetarium, the universalium type 8 that shines blue under the light is enshrined majestically. At first, Carl Zeiss Zeiss Model 2, then Carl Zeiss Jena UPP23/7, Cosmo Rama, and then the current Universalium Model 8. The dome is also equipped with a full-dome all-dome video system "Velvet".
The projection seems to randomly screen multiple works every day. There is no doubt that you can have a good time for about 1 hour. But of course it's in German. If I had the time, I would have liked to see it more than once a day.

Nice planetary with a wide range of shows, unfortunately only in German

It is one of the most attractive places in Jena, the musical shows are the best, however their customer service is the worst, if you have a complaint or problem, they just ignore you and don't give you an answer.
Attention visitors to Jena, if you have a problem with a reservation or ticket, ask at the cashier for a solution, do not waste your time looking for a solution by email.
I give it one star only for its lack of attention. For now I will not return as a customer and I will not recommend them either.

I went to see “Space Tour” and it felt like staring at Windows’ screensavers for an hour. There were very few and poor explanations written (they don’t even bother to have someone talking), some of the images didn’t even have anything to do with space (like fireworks or random explosions). There was no storyline and very little science. Very disappointing considering it’s the oldest planetarium in the world.
Silvia Ilaria Sorrentino — Google review
The show was very interesting. (In German only)
During the Covid times they really care about your safety. You need to book tickets in advance, and a few seats are left empty between the groups of visitors. The selection of the buffet could be improved.

Nebra Ark - Experiencing the Sky Disc
Museum
Sights & Landmarks
Striking, contemporary visitor center with bronze-age astronomy exhibits, plus digital planetarium.
Love it.
Birger Tommos — Google review
Arche Nebra exhibition about the discovery of the 'Himmelsscheibe' or Sky Disc.
Has recently been updated and upgraded.
Family ticket €23 - 2 adults and 2 children (7 / 8). Spent about 2 hours here including VR experience and planetarium.
Audio guides available for the main exhibition, but since a recent upgrade to the planetarium, not available in other languages, so would wait until they have sorted this out if your first language is not German. Check on the website or contact in advance to find out.
Some interactive elements for children. Would be good to have a craft area to make the sky disc. Would be good to have a treasure hunt for younger children. Happy to support this if required. There was a colouring book on a table downstairs, but it was not yet available for purchase. The children's book was a bit difficult language-wise and the simple language book more for adults.
This is a great place to visit and when the language guides are fully up and running for the planetarium part, then can recommend for all visitors from around the world. It is a bit out of the way, but easily located with a free car park at the foot of the hill. Disabled people and those with low mobility can be driven to the entrance. Only steps are down into the planetarium seating area, but possibly enough space for a wheelchair to remain at the back. Lift to toilets and all floors.
Cafe closed Mondays and Fridays.
Caro Line — Google review
Waste of time and money, with one good thing.
Modern history of the Disc starts with robbery, and they do keep up the tradition! The entrance is 9,50 euros, on top of time and money spent to get to the place, which is in middle of nowhere. The Disc itself is in Prehistory Museum in Halle (at 10 euros MUCH more worth it), so if you want to see the actual thing don't bother to go to Nebra.
If you don't speak German, don't go either - they are so unprepared for foreign visitors it's ridiculous. I did get an English audioguide, after being talked to in German despite my protestations in three languages that I don't speak it. The English version has a fraction of information a German speaking person would get (about 1/6, judging by info about other bronze age artifacts found on site). The info you do get is oversimplified. There isn't a single word of written English in entire place.
The only good thing is that one can handle a replica of the disc. The replica doesn't look much like original, but it's a relatively minor drawback for the site.

A masterpiece. A breathtaking example of Romanesque architecture with treasures of gothic sculptures in it. A must visit place. My favourite cathedral in all of Germany.
Ihor Zeiger — Google review
A very interesting church with an interesting history. The art in the church is unique and striking. The cathedral itself is worth a day trip to see this beautifully preserved 1,000 year old World Heritage Site.
Sadly, the cathedral is about the only thing worth seeing in Naumburg. We were there on a Saturday and the town rolls up the sidewalk at noon except for a few cafes near the cathedral.

Impressive cathedral with unique preserved interieur. It shows different styles thus beeing constructed in different centuries. So it can give examples from gotic to Renaissance. Extremely rich architecture. We had the privilege of a one hour guided tour and learned a lot about the history of the dome, the unusual case of the founder figures, the narrow path to paradise, why you say "Buch aufschlagen" (to "beat open a book") in German for opening a book and many more details to understand what was going on for centuries behind these walls. An absolute must visit.

The State Museum of Prehistory in Halle (Saale) is a renowned archaeological museum located in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It was established in Naumburg in 1819 before relocating to Halle in 1825 and then to its current position in 1918. With an impressive collection comprising over 15 million artifacts, it is one of the most comprehensive museums of its kind in the country.
This is a totally affordable great museum. Plus, you get to see the Nebra Sky Disc.
The interior design is very good, i really liked the concept design of every space. Especially the drawer knobs matching the most popular item in that collection

The audioguide covers mostly the prehistoric age and is totally worth it.
Alexander Melicharek — Google review
One of the best museums I have ever been in, always updated and interesting - been here twice now and planning to come for basically every Sonderausstellung.
Sadly - almost no written description in English, so you need to pick up the audio description headphones (or the several-Gygabyte-heavy phone app).
Luca Traverso — Google review
Beautiful museum with a lot of interesting exhibits. I particularly enjoyed the day & year timelines for neolithic community with the connection to the shaman.
The audioguide is very well done and gives you additional information even beyond the text written on the information plaques.
You can actually download the app to your smartphone prior to coming there, which is what I would recommend.
One note - the app uses the language of the phone and does not offer the choice which language to use.
Tobi Hornberger — Google review
The new exhibition excels in showcasing single magnificent relics in an appropriate manner, but also manages to explain the connections and concepts behind single artifacts. I left the exhibition feeling richer in many ways.

I have seen so many museums. Landesmuseum in Halle Saale is one of the best in terms of presentations and decorations. However, the written language is only German. So if you don't know German, you won't learn about the pieces and history of the region. I'll visit there again and will try the audio option. hoping that they have English audio option.

Great experience. A typical traditional museum where the visitor is a passive observer. The only thing personal in Museum have to think about is the fact that some visitors are not German speakers and that it would be great to put English language notes under the exhibits. Suggestion for the first time visitors: start with top flour of the Museum.

Well run museum filled with fossils and displays of ancient Europe. There are many displays of the people who once inhabited Europe with artifacts of jewelry, tools and weapons.
We came to see the mysterious Nebra Sky Disc and the Hand of Parëles. These two bronze objects are thought to be at least 5,000 years old and are of unknown origin or function. Beautifully presented they are wonders to behold with metals from England and the Carpathian Mountains?!
There are audio tours in English and few of the exhibits are in English. Not a problem though as you can work it out.
Richard Armida — Google review
Great presentation of interesting fossils, skeletons, prehistoric tools, crafts, art from the surrounding archaeological sites. Time covered from the neandertals to the roman empire. Good mix of things to see and read. The astronomical disc of Nebra is displayed and explained. Recommend.
A must see when you are around in Halle with kids. Easy to reach by tram directly from the main station. (3 stops only) We found the concept awesome! This is the oldest chocolate factory in Germany with very impressive history and flair. You can even taste different sorts of pralines. The factory store is great and staff is very friendly. Ideally to buy some gifts😀. Highly recommended and anytime again.

8€ for the entrance to a short walk with some info about chocolate...I personally do not see the excitement. And the price for that ticket do not worth the inside. On top, the prices of the chocolate boxes are same or 20 cents less than in market. As costumer/guest the ability to create positive impressions here is low.
You can visit the Porsche Manufacturer instead (yes, you can go with kids) in the way to Leipzig, way more better. They have nice views, pretty nice coffee bar, a lovely museum with some great items, plenty information, beautiful and update environment and the entrance has 0 cost.
You're welcome.

J.S. Bach was the cantor here and the church is famous for its boys' choir which regularly gives recitals. The church is a major site of musical creativity, with an octagonal tower added in the Renaissance era and walls that have been remodeled multiple times due to bombing damage during World War II.

There is nothing to say about this church that is so filled with history other than to say that whether interested in religious history, music history, church services this is a place you should make every effort to visit. St. Thomas Kirche/Church Leipzig
One of the must see attractions while in Leipzig, is the St. Thomas Church, originally build in 1212, modified to the Gothic Look around the 15th century, it’s quite an amazing structure loaded with historic happenings.
Martin Luther preacher here in 1539, and the Choir (in existence since 1212) has become a preeminent location for the Protestant Faith.
Johan Sebastian Bach, one of the most famous composers and musicians of all time, directed the Choir from 1723 to 1750.
Unfortunately I was not able to listen in to the choir, but one can close the eyes and just imagine one of Bach’s famous organ recitals and the choir performing, this must have been a massively magical moment in time!

The zoo Leipzig is one of the oldest and most modern zoos in Europe. It boasts a large variety of animals from 850 different species, all in naturalistic habitats. In addition to its animal exhibits, the zoo has conservation programs to help protect endangered species.
The zoo was beyond my expectations! It is definitely one of the best things to do in Leipzig after the self ride boating experience. The zoo has all kinds of animals from bears, lions, monkeys, chimps, aquarium, giraffe, Zebra, Rhino, tropical rainforest experience to most of the well known and a few almost extinct animals one would want to see.
The ticket was 22 euros per person which is definitely worth the money. Plan to spend at least 4-5 hours in the zoo. If you are an animal enthusiast then you might need minimum 5-6 hours

Beautiful Zoo.
It was a rainy day. Perfect because it wasn too crowded.
Parking: The best place to park is in the parking garage directly opposite the entrance. Good and not too expensive.
Food: Everywhere in the zoo there is the possibility to eat and drink something. I can recommend the restaurant at the giraffe enclosure with a view of giraffes and zebras.
The large cafe is really big and tastes very good.
I recommend to take some water with you because the prices for food and drink are sometimes high

Probably the best zoo in Europe. Since my first visit, they have been improving the older parts of the zoo and now it's almost fully renewed with modern enclosures.
It can be very crowded, even on workdays.

Leipzig Zoo has a decent variety of animals, and some exhibits were enjoyable. However, my experience was not so good as several animals were missing during my visit. Moreover, the food prices were very high and the overall atmosphere felt too crowded. Improvement in these areas would significantly enhance the visitor experience.
As per my experience the aquarium and Tropical world were amazing ....

Although a small number of animals could understandably not be seen in the outdoor enclosures due to the cold and snowy winter weather, the beautifully and creatively laid out zoo still contained a much wider variety of species to see than I had anticipated. A wholly enjoyable experience, even in 'off season'.

One of the best Zoos I have visited. Pretty big and lots of space for the animals. The amazon house is great. The aquarium was very crowded, i don’t think the corona traffic light ever goes on red

One forgets within 30 minutes that they are in the city or even in a zoo. If the visiting route is followed, you will have the most enjoyable trip. Gondwanaland must be visited both by walking and by boat. You can bring food and drink with you, there are enough suitable places. There is a great transportation and parking place, whether by car or by bus, train or tram. Right across the entrance door, you can also lock your bike next to the closed parking lot. In the zoo, which consists of 6 different concepts, you really live every part of it to the fullest. The most beautiful zoo I've ever seen. Especially in the tropical park, a boat tour should be done.

I was incredibly impressed with this zoo. I’ve been to multiple zoos in North America and Australia and this one was the most impressive. I couldn’t get over how incredible the tropical building was, and just how BIG it was! The prices were also very reasonable, and food inside was not too overly expensive. I could easily have spent an entire day just exploring half of this wonderful zoo.

Fantastic! We were getting in very fast with our online tickets. It's better to print out. The whole zoo was great. Plenty extra attractions for kids too. Boat ride was amazing as well. We had a great time. Easily needed 6,5 hours. At the moment the Aquarium is closed due to renovation. We are definitely going to come back.

The layout and theming of this zoo is excellent and at times it felt more like a theme park (especially in Gondwanaland). Food prices and availability is good, even on a busy day, and the enclosures are far more creative than places like Berlin. Admittedly we did struggle to see some of the animals at times, particularly the monkeys who were hidden in their huge enclosures. I’ll definitely go back, though next time not on a public holiday.

Our family spent the day at the Zoo! It was such a wonderful time! Walking through Gondwanaland was a highlight! Definitely recommend checking it out! :)
The only negative thing is, on crowded days, the pathways are so narrow that it makes for a bit of closterfobic experience (especially the path through Pongoland). Other than feeling packed in, we had a great time there!

Nice Zoo Garden very accesibile, just a short walk from Center. I visited it a few years back and I liked it more then. Maybe now it has more fast food places and less animals, or maybe they were just hidden or taking a break. Plenty of space for animals, very natural environment and you have to be lucky to be in the right place and the right time to see the animals. I liked also the Amazonian place. Enjoyed Leipzig, clean and full of nice places to see. Good food and drinks. Zoo and parks are a big plus.

The Leipzig Zoo is truly an amazing place to visit. It’s not just big; it’s incredibly expansive, offering a wide variety of animal exhibits and attractions to explore. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast or just looking for a fun day out with family or friends, this zoo has something for everyone.
One piece of advice I’d like to share is that if you plan to visit more than once or think you might return in the future, it’s definitely worth considering an annual pass. Buying a yearly ticket can be more cost-effective than paying for admission on a per-day basis, especially if you want to take your time to fully enjoy everything the zoo has to offer. It’s a great way to support the zoo and ensure you can return whenever you please.

My highlight of the zoo is the tropical boat trip. Highly recommended, it's only 2€per person. You feel like you are in the tropical rainforest, and the sound of nature is unbelievable. There is a small tree bridge to walk above to see overall of this jungle. Also a nice restaurant for you to sit and relax and be with nature hearing birds and other animals. Other parts of the zoo are very nice too, especially the big restaurant where you can see the animals walking around you.

Leipzig Zoo wasn't just a zoo visit, it was a tropical escape! The meticulously landscaped tropical gardens transported me to rainforests teeming with life. The boat trip for 2 euros was an absolute must, offering a tranquil journey.
While food options were limited. Though I missed the vibrant world of parrots, the aquarium was a stunning spectacle.
Overall, Leipzig Zoo was a diverse and exciting adventure, especially for those who love the tropics. The tropical gardens were the star, offering a unique and immersive experience. Highly recommended!

Very cool zoo. We were in late October and almost all animals were visible. Gorillas and orangutans have a very nice locations. There are babies of lions, elephants , giraffes, gorillas and orangutans.
I really love corals and you will found a good display here

The Leipzig Zoo is great.
There is a wide variety of animals from all over the world.
In addition to the animals, there are other attractions such as guided walks and children's games.
I was fascinated that the Zoo was divided into different regions of the world.
This Gothic and Baroque church became a scene of the Monday demonstrations that eventually helped reunite Germany. The church backs the protesters with regular prayer for peace every Monday.
A great and huge historical place in Germany. I prefer to visit there to know and understand German culture.

Great church and definitely worse a visit but there photography policy inside the church is a joke. You can’t take photos inside without paying 2€ but only there. The Thomas church not far from there is free and you can take as many photos as you want, what a money grab for no real reason.

While it feels strange to “rate” a church, I choose to do so in order to help maintain awareness of the importance of this church both as a place of worship and with its important place in music history. This is, after all, the church where Johan Sebastian Bach’s masterpiece, the St. John Passion, was first performed. During his many years of tenure in charge of the liturgical music for all of Leipzig’s churches at the time, Bach would have performed, directed the choir and written music for this church on numerous occasions.

I lived about 100 meters away from the church, it was literally part of my neighborhood… an historically rich building in an historically rich neighborhood of an historically rich city… Goethe compared it (favorably) to Paris.

The church is very beautiful, the neoclassical interior with ornate columns and pastel shades is stunning. Also there is the history with Bach, and of the important part the church played in the events leading to the Berlin Wall being taken down. There is an exhibition about this, but all in German - we wished there was an English translation but there are some great pictures. Highly recommend a visit here, and please do pay the 2 euros for the photography permit as they are struggling to raise funds for the upkeep of the building 🙂

It’s a highly historical place for the German reunification. It’s the place where protests were located and German people in the GDR gathered to stand up against the socialist regime. It’s a must see when in Leipzig! It’s free to visit but 3 Euro for pictures. It’s wonderfully renovated and colourful. Sometimes you even have the possibility to listen to concerts.
Florian Lemke — Google review
OK, I must confess that this is a place with a very specific focus (JS Bach) and purpose (to draw us into the life and music of Bach) - and I happen to be a Bach junkie. Having said that, it is a beautiful church and the Friday/Sunday concerts are excellent (and packed).
It is helpful to realize, however, that everything is in German, and that Leipzigers are not as proficient in English as others in Europe.

A cherry, that's the cherry in Leipzig right in the middle of a city, an eternal church, which used to be in the 80s, where the border from left to right was clearly in 1990. The border is open from here, well there demo here or there the St. Nicholas Church is a memorial door for all things, there is also a public church on it, think of the old times in 2000 about it, but swimming into the years there.

The St. Nicholas Church (German: Nikolaikirche) is one of the major churches of central Leipzig, Germany (in Leipzig's district Mitte). Construction started in Romanesque style in 1165, but in the 16th century, the church was turned into a Gothic hall church. Baroque elements like the tower were added in the 18th century.
Leipzig Hauptbahnhof is a monstrous train station with over 300 meters of facade, and it's also home to a number of shops, cafes, and grocery markets. The station is one of the largest in the world by floor area, making it an ideal spot for shopping.
Leipzig Hauptbahnhof is a bustling transportation hub that seamlessly blends historic architecture with modern amenities. Its impressive design, efficient layout, and numerous shops and restaurants make it a convenient and enjoyable place to travel through. The Monument to the Battle of the Nations in Probstheida neighbourhood is a huge temple of death commemorating the 1813 battle when Austrian, Russian, Swedish and Prussian forces came together to defeat Napoleon. The imposing memorial site features carvings, statues and inscriptions and reflects its reflection in the lake of tears.
Beautiful, but must take ~320 steps to reach to the top of the building, the path and steps can be narrow.
But you can get a good town view from the top.
Must visit landmark while you in Leipzig:)
We went on a weekend just right after opening at 10am- less crowded & peacefully explored, around 11-12pm we saw big crowd coming.

If you're in the area and interested in history - visit this one!
It cost me 10€ entry, and then I headed inside. There's a lift, but if you want to truly see everything, you cannot avoid the stairs. Overall there are about 500 of them, but as I combined lift with stairs, I climbed about 250, I guess.
The view from the top is nice, but the one from the Panorama Tower in the city is way better.

I enjoyed this monument more than I thought I would. The big statues reminded me of ancient statues. The acoustics inside are pretty good. The whole experience is maze-like, going up the narrow stairways. The views at the top are great. Remember to get your ticket below, before you climb the stairs to the entrance.

One of the best places I have ever visited, so breathtaking and ancient. And the museum is so beautiful but the thing that's most beautiful about this place is the view from the top of the monument, absolutely otherworldly.

Very beautiful. Paying just €10 (€8 for students) you can go up to the very top of the monument climbing 500 steps in narrow spaces, the tiring way is totally worth it the view! Furthermore you can enter in the museum nearby and see ancient exhibits from the battle of nations.

I liked the museum very much. Leipzig is a must-see museum. It is a very impressive and explanatory museum. Germany's confrontation with its war history has been very effective. He should learn such lessons. I recommend it to anyone who visits Leipzig. It is a worth seeing place. The interior of the monument should definitely be visited. If you want to capture beautiful photo frames, I recommend you to visit it in the afternoon.

Very peaceful to visit. It feels like a very secular monument to the Prussian people who endured Napoleon’s invasion. It take peace time to build such a monument. Unfortunately the peace time would not last with the start of World War 1 and the damage is from World War 2.
In the United States we are letting our World War 1 monuments crumble and allowing capitalism to take over our sense of duty. A concept most Americans can not grasp, but something Germans understand. This is a place of mourning but today it is a place to enjoy life with families.

I must say the monument was very impressive. Entrance was 10 euros with an extra 2 euros for the audio guide. I would recommend that you take the audio guide as it gives you so much more information. The audio guide is available in English. There are 350 plus steps to get to the top but the views of Leipzig are spectacular. The museum covers the battle itself. This is where the audio guide really does come into it's own. It gives a view from the people that lived in Leipzig at the time of the battle and explains some of the exhibits and the reason for the battle. We spent approximately 3 hours here and another 40 minutes at cafe at the other end of the monument

One of the representative symbol of Leipzig. The height is 91 meters and it is most biggest monument in the Europe.
The closer I got to it, the more overwhelmed I was by its size and impact.
You can enter inside of the monument by 10€ per person.
On the top of the monument, you can see the overview of Leipzig. It is really amazing.
There are total 500 step to the top viewing platform. On the other hand, the elevator is settled in the monument and you can access by 2/3 height of monument easily.
Last 50 steps of top floor is too narrow to pass through each other. Please take care and go up without haste.

A great place to see historical moments from WWI ( weapons, uniforms and buildings) which happened in Leipzig, and for sure the most that we loved about this place was the top of the building that shows the whole city around! It was breathtaking and deserves a visit!
Daniel Saada — Google review
It’s a huge architecture for a monument. A monument backed with German nationalist motivation while it was built but it’s least been memorialized now and people are more looking at the architecture.
It’s possible to get to middle viewing floor with two different lifts but the top observation deck is only accessible by very narrow and long stairs.
Timothy En Haw Chan — Google review
Very impressive building. The sheer scale of it is breathtaking. If you want to make it to the top viewing platform, be prepared for narrow staircases because the elevator does NOT go all the way to the top.
This is one of those monuments where the focus has shifted from what it commemorates to the monument itself. Most people visit it to see the building and admire its architectural design rather than think about the event for which it was built.

We didn't get to go inside because of lack of time but it was really cool to see even from the outside. Something that looks so out of place in a European setting. Amazingly built. You do have to climb a bunch of stairs to go up to the main floors...for those who are physically disabled. But I think there is an elevator somewhere inside.
I would fully recommend doing a tour, you learn so much more than you would going around on your own and you are still free to wonder around yourself afterwards. It’s a super inspiring and story rich place to visit. Would recommend to anyone even remotely interested in design and modernism.

Just as it clocks 100 years soon, I had the opportunity to take a tour around the Bauhaus Dessau and was blown away by its significance in the world of design, art, and architecture. The building is a masterpiece of modern architecture, with its clean lines and minimalist aesthetic still looking fresh and contemporary today despite it being constructed almost a century ago.
The tour provided an interesting insight into how the Bauhaus has shaped modern design and technology, providing a foundation for innovation that countless architects, designers, and artists still draw upon today.
The designs and creations of the Bauhaus school are on display throughout, and there are many interactive exhibits providing an immersive experience that showcases how technology is shaping the future of design.
If you have any interest in architecture, design, or art, I would highly recommend visiting this iconic landmark. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate, and the building is a testament to the innovative spirit of the Bauhaus movement.
All Saints' Church in Wittenberg is a Gothic church that serves as the final resting place of Martin Luther, who sparked the protestant reformation by nailing his 95 Theses to its door in 1517. The church offers public tours and boasts a superb tower with a 360 degree view of the town. Visitors can also admire the beautiful details throughout the church itself. Both the church and nearby castle are well-organized for visitors who speak German or English.
Visiting this place is definitely a must! Located at the end of the main street of the historical area of Wittenberg, this place is of extreme value not only because at one of his doors Martin Luther nailed his 95 thesis, but also because his grave is inside the temple, at the back, under the organ pipes. The entrance is free. Take your time to admire every single detail of this treasure building in terms of architecture. Highly recommend. Ask for a guided tour, it will broaden your experience! Also, you can go up in the tower for 3 €, where you will have great views of the city.

Lutherhaus in Wittenberg is the former Augustinian monastery where Martin Luther resided as a teacher-monk and later after its dissolution. The museum chronologically outlines major milestones in Luther's career, offering an informative look at his life and religious legacy. It serves as a living history of Christian Reformation and is considered one of the most important museums to visit in Wittenberg. The well-designed explanations by guides and signboards make it a great historical place to explore.
Highly recommended! Make it your first stop when visiting Lutherstadt Wittenberg so you can get a clear picture of the importance of this city and it’s history. Interesting, interactive and easy to navigate.

This is one of the must see stops along Lutherstrasse while in Wittenberg. Absolutely amazingly preserved and restored artifacts. These locations mark a key point in the history of the world and are definitely worth a visit.

This is where Martin Luther lived with his wife and family. Now turned into a Museum with very clear narrative of the Protestant Reformation that took place just over 500 years ago

A very important stop while visit Wittenberg! Located at the beginning of the main street of the historical area, Lutherhaus will transport you in time to experience what people at that time use in their daily lives. Also, this museum has a largr collection of Luther's writings and pictures. The house also tries to portray and explain the living conditions of that period. The house, plus Luther's sayings as well as the whole collection of objects will give you a better understanding of the life of one of the important figures of the reformation. Highly recommend. Single ticket 8 €, combined ticket 10 € (Luther House + Melanchthon House )

Really informative museum of Luther’s life and religious legacy. You can find the house after walking through this large stone gate - picture added. The museum itself chronologically outlines major milestones in Luther’s “career”, you could say. It is astounding to see what one person’s courage could do for an entire religion.

This was truly eye opening visitation to me. Martin Luther was indeed a vessel used by God during that age. Staffs were super friendly and the tour guide was informative as well. A must place to visit if happen to be around nearby.

Mineral baths in indoor & outdoor saltwater pools, plus saunas, fitness classes & a cafe.
Really really nice. Clean and warm. The water music room is very relaxing. The staff at the eating place (cafe/restaurant) inside the water area were very friendly. The grounds are also lovely. Great place for children and adults. There is one bigger pool in the middle (it is not a swimming pool) and around it there are two smaller even warmer baths/pools. There are various jacuzzi-like places with air bubbled through the water and the air seems to be warm (unlike some other places I experienced where they use cold air which is unpleasant). There is small very shallow pool good for really small children. Plenty of places to sit or lie down. And there is one outside warm and salty pool, with nice loungers around it. We were there for 5 happy hours from 11:30am until 16:30 on a Saturday and it was not at all crowded.

Actually, I don't want to tell in order not to make this nice place overcrowded, too.
It's a bit old fashioned but everything is as it should be. -> 4.5 stars...

Not an "american" style spa --- more of an aquatic club with some spa amenities. Too many children to be a relaxing spa. The Bad is just a giant (and I mean giant) pool ... which is neat - but not spa like.

Great place, enough pools for everyone and a good variety, would like hotter pool but in all was really good. Around 20€ entry and the bar prices are of a regular bar.

Cecilienhof palace is a former residence of the Hohenzollern dynasty and was used as the location of the Potsdam Conference following World War II. The palace is surrounded by over 100 hectares of parkland, which makes it a popular tourist destination.
Well organized, historical museum. There's lots to learn about the immediate period after WW2, and doing so on site is a lot of fun. You need to buy a ticket to enter which I think is around ten euro. If you don't want to pay, the architecture is nice to look at from the outside and the facility is in the middle of a beautiful park near a lot of lakes.
Matthew MacLennan — Google review
This Tudor manor looks well out of place in Potsdam, however the monumental meetings that took place here at the end of Ww2 make it a must visit. The rooms have been kept as they were in 1945 with memorabilia down to minute details such as cigarette packets each of the leaders were smoking. It only takes an hour or so to visit but is very interesting for history buffs and laypeople alike. There is extensive parkland around the location and plenty of walking trails around the nearby lake.

At first glance, it seemed like a normal palace but it holds a dual history. One of the kings before the fall of the empires and other the after WW2 history. Many historical figures lived here who decided the aftermath of the world after WW2. It's the iconic conference venue of the conference. Around this you have an excellent beautiful garden. Wonderful lake. Nearby other palaces. Overall it's a must visit place. You can be part of WW2 history.

Indoor & outdoor pools, plus saunas & landscaped gardens in a spa facility with dining options.
It's a wonderful place for relaxation. They've got massive indoor & outdoor thermal pools with timely workout routines. There are tons of indoor & outdoor saunas with different ceremonies happening every 30 mins.
There are also two restaurants and a pool bar for eating & drinking.
And the best part is that you can relax without the sticky swimming costumes. The whole place is clothing free.
A day pass here is absolutely worth it.

I have been at the Kristall Therme today (Sunday) for the first time. Nice pools with both cold and warm water, and very nice saunas as well.
Unfortunately the place was too crowded despite the ongoing corona restrictions and the atmosphere was not relaxing at all. Lots of children playing in the pools and people talking loudly in the sauna. Perhaps it is better to go there on a weekday but I don't know if it is worth it.
Ele Fe — Google review
The culture of FKK is very popular at this place.
And in case if you feel comfortable swimming in such thermal pools you should think twice if you are going to visit this place with kids.
Some visitors are walking around thermal pools without bathrobes of towels, and you should think which area your small kid will observe first of all on your way to the pool, toilette etc.
Also another act of inappropriate usage of the restaurant area has took place. Some visitors are walking in to this area also without bathrobes and towels, and also siting at the tables without bathrobes or towels.
Hair dryers are very old, pools are dirty at some places.
I would not recommend this place to the family with kids.

What a wonderful place! A massive sauna/spa complex with dozens of saunas and a large heated pool area. The entry fee is relatively cheap, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. My German is very bad, but the staff was accommodating.
There's a very nice poolside bar you can swim up to and get a drink for a reasonable price (4.50 Euros for .5 liter of beer, cocktails are around 7.50).
The entire place was very clean and taken care of. The saunas were very well kept, and nice to spend time in.
All saunas and the pool area are "textile free", meaning you can't wear any clothes. As an American, this was very strange to me at first, but I adjusted to it surprisingly quickly. Now I'm sad we don't have anything like this where I'm from.
Also, the entire area offers free entrance on your birthday (which happened to be today for me). I don't think this is advertised anywhere, but a few reviews mentioned it, and I can confirm! This made the entire experience very cheap, which made for an even greater experience!
To all the staff who work so hard to make this place run smoothly, well done! Und Vielen Dank für einen Wunderschönen Geburtstag!

Went on a Saturday, very mixed crowd off all ages and walks of life. Relatively quiet in the morning got quite busy in the afternoon. They have various pools, big enough to swim in with different salinity and temperatures both indoor and outdoor, as well as a lot of different sauna's from ca 20 degrees up to 100, again both 8n the indoor as well as the outdoor area, outdoor hot and cold showers and cold tubs. A hamam, etc. Basically whatever you want from a sauna they got it and the place is quite big so you can always find a spot. Plenty of food options too so you can easily spend a day. One pool has a bar so you can drink while soaking in warm water if that's your thing. They also got events like full moon sauna where they're op until 11 pm and light up the outside area with torches and small campfires.
Dennis Siemonsma — Google review
A broad range of different saunas at various temperatures with different themes from scent, stone or theme. Great pools of different salt concentrations. Family friendly and not always as strictly restful around the main pool as other spas but a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable day. Great value for money

I love this place and visit it every time I am back Home in Berlin for a visit. My Buddies and I just enjoy it very much. In the Summer you can relax outside and work on your Tan. The Food is very good and there are a lot of options. The Facilities are very clean and well Maintained. I get a Massage every time and it rounds out the experience for me. It's certainly a great way relax and forget what is going on. Especially in the current situation. I am glad that they where able to weather the Storm and survive. I love all the different Saunas and Steam Rooms. There is something to do for everybody. I love relaxing in the Pool by the Bar and enjoy a nice Beer with my friends. It's such a cool feature. I am not sure why people complain about this place being FKK/ You should perhaps do some research before going. There are days where you can go and be dressed. I guess being German it's not a big deal for me at. I am going to be back in Berlin in August for a few month and will for sure visit it several times while there. Keep up the great work and I look forward to my next visit. Danke Schoen. :)

This place is definitely not for Americans or people from a conservative culture where not everyone is normalised to being naked around each other. The genders are not separated and there is people of all ages which is never ever the case in US spas. You cannot use the saunas or swim unless you are fully naked, even if you have swim trunks on, take off your shoes, and put a towel under yourself. It was very difficult to communicate with staff because only one person new English but this understandable as this is a German spa. I came on Wedensday because it said on the website that you could wear clothing that day, however this was false because they told me you can never wear clothing in the saunas. This was extremely disappointing as I did not know this when I bought the ticket. I booked for 3 hours but left in an hour or so after being yelled at in the sauna by a German grandma wanting me to get naked. I only give 2 stars because one employee (the only one who spoke English) was nice to me. The sauna village was beautiful but I will definitely not return here.
Nick — Google review
It's not a bad experience but nothing out of the ordinary. The saunas themes were not easily grasped. As a fan of good oils, I was disappointed to not recognice a lemon scent in a lemon sauna. Same for most other saunas. They do have plenty of infusions, though. All in all, it is a good place to spend a cold day. Nothing memorable apart from the company you may bring along.

The Olympiastadion Berlin is an iconic stadium located in Berlin, Germany. It was originally built for the 1936 Summer Olympics and has been the home of several German football clubs, most notably Hertha BSC. Today, it is still one of the largest stadiums in Europe and is often used for major events such as the Bundesliga match between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.
I went to this place to watch the league match between Berlin and Frankfurt with some Frankfurt fan friends.
The stadium is huge and the beautiful. Can hold great number of audience.
This stadium also holds the Olympic games logo which talks about the history of the stadium.
Oval shaped stadium with naturally beautiful and well maintained grass is very attractive.
Besides the stadium, even the crowd in the stadium are wonderful. They were energetic and that was a treat to experience.
There's also a Tram stop near the stadium. So, this is very well connected.
Only thing people need to note is, the drinks near the stadium are very expensive. I would highly recommend that you buy your drinks and come. Only Beer and non-alcoholic beverages were allowed.

The price was 25 euros for 2 people because we had a discount due to buying the Berlin card.

Good to go and see, just not a whole lot to do when you get there. None of the food stalls except one were open by that’s probably down to the time of the day we got there. Overall enjoyed the atmosphere and how big the stadium looks as well as the history. Though I went somewhat in the Winter time it was a bit renovated and unable to see a lot of it. Overall a definitely must stop for the cultural impact!! They also have a lot of information panels in both German and English that help you get a sense of what you're looking at! As well as they have preserved most of the stadium from the 1936 Olympics! It's impressive to see the monuments as well as the places that people almost long gone have stayed!

The history of this complex is one that I think is too easy to overlook. The vast area is very beautiful and the structure is still majestic. The continued effort to restore and yet keep it functioning is amazing. My father told my family of his excitement as a very young child being taken to the 1936 Olympics in his uncle's arms. We took my father, back now at 91 and he is so amazed at how familiar it feels.

There's something about walking up to the main entrance here, and under those five rings.
It's a clean stadium. Clean looking architecture, well kept grounds and it's well run.
The stadium has its place in history, and the various statues surrounding it testify to that and provide a reminder of those famed moments.
History aside, it has plenty to offer outside of sport.
It's perfect for events and concerts. Transport there is excellent. Once there, it offers great options for food and drink and queues aren't bad.
The security for my recent concert was well run and people management was effective and efficient.
Very much worth the visit.

Update: we went back and took the 1 hour tour today. Our guide was Olmo and he was amazing! Tons of great information and went to places in the stadium you can only visit by guide. It is worth every penny. Thank you, Olmo. You were amazing.
If you want to take a tour (1 hour) make sure to make a reservation in advance. We are going back Thursday for the guided tour that gets us into the VIP area from the 1936 Olympics. This stadium is stunning in size. Amazing history. Lots more detail to see walking around the grounds. Easiest way to the stadium is S-Bahn to Olympic Stadion stop. Right across the street from there.

A remarkable blend of historical significance and modern architecture, offering a breathtaking experience for visitors. Steeped in history, the stadium retains elements of its original 1936 design, yet has been masterfully updated to meet contemporary standards, making it a symbol of timelessness.
The beauty of the Olympiastadion lies not only in its grandeur and scale but also in the intricate details of its construction. The juxtaposition of old and new elements creates a unique aesthetic that is both awe-inspiring and thought-provoking. The vast seating area, with its impressive capacity, provides excellent views from virtually every angle, ensuring an enjoyable experience whether you’re there for a sports event or a concert.
The stadium’s atmosphere is electrifying, especially during major events, encapsulating the spirit of competition and celebration. Its state-of-the-art facilities add to the comfort and enjoyment of visitors, making every visit memorable. Additionally, the surrounding area of the stadium, with its lush greenery and open spaces⬤

The massive Charlottenburg Palace is a 17th century Baroque summer palace with huge gardens packed with paintings, tapestries and porcelain. It is one of Berlin's most popular tourist attractions, and the best surviving example of the architectural skills and styles of Prussian Kings. The interior is opulent with baroque furnishings, while the exterior features a large park.
The palaces are beautiful and stunning, the architecture is amazing and also the breathtaking.
I like the fact that some of the original architecture are still in existence and well preserved here.
There are audio guides that take you through the palace in chronological order, which helps navigate the palace. Also I’ll suggest to go early so as to not rush and enjoy the journey.

I spent 1h and a half at the castle but could have spent more. The palace is beautiful, it’s sad to read about all the destruction it went through though. Some of the rooms could not be rebuilt to their original as there were no pictures or records of what they used to look like.

Charlottenburg Palace is actually a large garden open to the public. The area inside is very large, but in addition to visiting the garden, the Charlottenburg Palace block outside is also very worth visiting. First of all, although this block is close to the palace, there is no Generally, the popular tourist attractions are noisy, very quiet, the whole block is lined with trees, and the houses on both sides are very characteristic of European houses. It is very comfortable to stroll through, and it is a pleasure to walk in the afternoon sun.
Palace is a beautiful palace in the center of Berlin. Like many European palaces, it is divided into two parts: palace and garden. You need to buy tickets to enter the palace, but you don’t need to visit the garden. The garden is relatively large and has a typical geometric design. Composed of lawns, woods, ponds, etc., it is a very comfortable place and a good place for Berliners to take a leisurely stroll.

While the decorations were spectacular, there's quite a bit lacking. Many of the rooms stated there was significant damage during WWII, but they didn't reconstruct the room according to the original. Then what exactly are we seeing?
The upkeep of the garden was horrible. To name a few things: overgrown plants, weeds all over, patches of barren ground, noticeable irrigation lines, ...
For the cost, this was definitely not worth it. Spend less and go to the Berlin Cathedral.

Must visit in Berlin. Especially the old wing. Very well maintained and not very busy when we visited. If you buy tickets on their website, it includes both the old wing and the new wing. I recommend visiting the old wing first, then visit the new wing and show them your ticket. You'll be granted entry.

A beautiful castle with an impressive garden. While it may not compete with the largest and the most beautiful castles in Spain, Italy or France, it is still worthwhile to visit it. Some of the rooms are truly impressive.
The Story of Berlin is a great and interesting local history museum that tells the story of the city through different themed rooms. It is well designed and impressively modern, with a compelling mix of historical analysis and more personal, anecdotal material. The museum is perfect for family fun as it features over 23 different rooms that showcase everyday life in Berlin during different periods.
Really informative. Museum tour tells a great story of the city of Berlin and makes you appreciate its rich history even more.
Entire setting is so realistic it's hard not to get carried away. There's a semi-hidden entrance to the cinema, playing an authentic clip from that time. Other small holes in the walls may give you a full view of an otherwise inaccessible room which got frozen in time.
Important: If you start, or end, your museum tour at a particular time, you will be allowed to join in the underground bunker tour. Check the times at the ticket booth, or ask the staff. Don't miss it!

Excellent private collection museum located in a popular location. The visit to the bunker is worth the admission alone.
Tours to the bunker last 30 minutes you can exit and re-enter the museum if you arrive early. The rest of the museum is very interesting without looking stuffy.
The set out allows you to follow a main theme and visit rooms with exhibits alongside. You could spend half a day to 2 hours here looking through the collection.
Worth a visit if you want a 400 year history of Berlin in one building. Thumbs up from me.

Thoroughly enjoyed the visit here. It's an excellent place to discover the history of the city. Very well presented and absorbing for a good 90 minutes (more if you take the bunker tour as well).

I took a guided tour through the museum and I really enjoyed it :)

So many stories about the WWII have been told but the Story of Berlin has given me an extra insight in what happened during the years before and in the war. I found the information and images quite intens at some moments but I am glad they were told and shown. The guide (in many languages) tells a clear and personal story. I am not quite sure whether or not I would take young kids into all rooms though... I would recommend a visit to the Story of Berlin.

The complete story in 1-2 hours, kids friendly! But not fancy or a wow-factor..

Learnt a lot about Berlin’s history at this informative multi-media museum. Staffs at the ticketing and gift shop were both friendly.

The big bunker is a place worth visiting.

Be ready to spend a good amount of time here if you plan to read everything. There are 23 chapters/rooms/sections. Very interesting, but maybe a bit too much at once. Bunker tours sound cool (English at 12,2,4 and 6) but we didn’t get a chance to do it.
The Kurfürstendamm is a famous boulevard in Berlin that is home to many high-end shops, restaurants, and hotels. It has a fantastic history and has inspired many songs, movies and stories. There are many interesting buildings and tourism opportunities around this street. Apart from the benefits of shopping at some of Berlin's largest department stores, another great thing about visiting this area is that you can go to Berlins Prenzlauer Berg neighbourhood for a great afternoon of browsing.

A very nice avenue with a lot of restaurants and expensive stores. It also has probably the most busy sidewalks, always a lot of people here. But somehow doesn't feel crowded. Must visit during the cristmas time.

One of the main shopping areas of Berlin, the street has all famous and high end brands. It has many restaurants, bars and cafes. It is usually very lively and busy and touristy. It is also nice to enjoy a walk along the street with family and loved ones. In spring you can enjoy the pretty flowers on the street, in winter the street ia decorated with christmas lights.

Leisure park with animal enclosures & full size dinosaur models, plus adventure playground & rides.
It was an amazing experience. We highly recommend it. It's much bigger than in the pictures I've seen here. There are different parts of the park, Dino parc, animals, lake, kids playground.
The price is much cheaper than a zoo and are many many animals. I recommend... At least 5 hours.
Roxana Romina Gati Ciutan — Google review
nice park, especially for family
I would recommend it on weekends, buy the tickets from website (online), because the line of waiting very long. Difficult to find a parking for cars. You can eat inside the park if you grab something from home. I didn’t see a 300 animals that their website talked about.
Samer Fahed — Google review
A great place to spend a day with the kids. It's an interesting mix of a petting zoo, some wild animals, a theme park, play areas plus a dinosaur world. It shouldn't really make sense but it does. It's quite big so even when it's busy it still doesn't feel too overwhelming. My only minor complaint is the need to pay when exiting the parking as it can create a bit of a gridlock, they should just include the fee in the ticket.

Fantastic place. A true gem for kids and adults. Had great fun here. Not too expensive and easy to have a nice time here. The dinosaurs are a great attraction, but the best part are the deer which you can feed.
Doctor Gibby — Google review
We visited while visiting family in Berlin. The park is huge and such a fun way to spend the day. You could spend a whole day here without the kids getting bored. There’s the Dino park, which is very large. Petting zoos with roaming deer, options to swim when the weather is nice, many different food options and much more we didn’t get to see.
Chloe Fischer — Google review
Very nice park with animals, big dinosaur figures and carousels for kids almost of all ages. Brig coins since most rides are unlocked with 50 cents or 1€. There is also a wending machine für coins. The best food is too be found in the dinosaur area.
Sebastian — Google review
The park is very entertaining for kids. The area is pretty big and split in 3 big groups. The first, close to the entrance, is where you have a lot of recreation for kids, like playgrounds and some paid rides. Next there's two big circuits with animals, some that are running free and you can pet them. Finally, there the dinosaur area, with one big and wide circuit. Depending on your pace, you can complete everything in 2 or 3 hours. Overall the kids enjoyed very much and had fun while we were there.
Marcelo Moreira — Google review
Great place to spend a full day with kids. There are petting animals, dinosaur theme based park, tasty food stalls, lot of play activities for all kid age groups and a mini golf course.
Rahul Malhotra — Google review
Great park for families. We went with our 7-year-old, and he loved it. Animals to watch and feed, dinosaurs to learn about, and lots of space to just play. There are also some play areas which are fun.
On less star because of needing to pay extra for some of the attractions (bumper cars, etc).
Jana Romeo — Google review
Rather crowded on warm spring days. Rich Zoo with lots of domestic and exotic animals. Playgrounds are well equipped, kids have lots of spaces to get their rage out. The Dino area is fun if you're a fan. There are plenty of paid attractions inside, some of them are decent. Ponds and canals are nice too, you can have some beach time during summer. Huge lines for food and often at the entry before and during noon. You can bring your own food for a picnic, keep in mind that grilling is prohibited.
Artem Kovalyov — Google review
It’s a very good place to visit with kids. The park has different areas where kids can see nicely made life-like dinosaur replicas, a small zoo and farm animals. It also has different play areas for kids and a lake. Prices for food and rides are quite reasonable (not really expensive). Overall a very family-friendly park. You can spend between 3-4 hours, or longer if you wish, walking around.
Diana Vanegas — Google review
Interesting place to visit with kids! It's a bit far from Berlin center by public transit (SBahn, bus then 20-minute walk), but worth it for a day trip. The park is really big, with a zoo section, section with dinosaur statues, various playgrounds, coin-operated rides, an indoor play area, a lake for swimming (no lifeguards), and some restaurant options.
We went with two 3.5-year-olds and they had a great time. We were glad we brought our Bollerwagen to pull the kids around, but wooden wagons were also available to rent in the park for 5 EUR.
The entrance fee is very reasonable (7 EUR for adults, 3,50 for kids) but we found out that's because they try to upsell you EVERYWHERE. There are coin-operated rides all over, and every kiosk has a ton of cheap dinosaur toys for sale (left out in the open where kids can grab them, of course). But as long as your kids are pretty good about not asking for every little thing you can still have a good time. Some things are worth paying a little extra for, like the "water walking" ride where you go inside huge inflatable barrels and roll around on top of a pool of water. Not cheap (4 EUR per person for 5 minutes), but unique and a lot of fun.
The dino park section was well done, with still statues all around. They were life-size and made for impressive vistas. Playgrounds are interspersed around so the little ones can have something to do while enjoying the backdrop.
We stopped for lunch at the Asian kiosk nearest the entrance and wished we had waited, as the food quality was poor, and there were much better options further in near the zoo animals. Definitely go in further and find those.
We didn't see much of the zoo section because the girls were focused on the dinosaurs, but we did get to pet a very tame deer and saw owls, parrots, and snakes.
All in all we were glad we came once but don't feel the need to visit again.

Great price at entrance and parking. Good theme park!
It’s a large park with different entertainments. There are animals you get to pat and feed. A cafe with a lot of toys. Small trains and cars. It costs something little like 50 cents or 1 euro.
The entrance is quite good price at 6 euro.
Parking costs 1 only.
Food there is not expensive at all, quite fair price. Tastes pretty OK.
We enjoyed a lot and will definitely visit again.
Highly recommended!

We liked it!
They did a great job with the dinosaurs! There are so many! And the lake area with the prehistoric octopus and the slide seem really great.
There is no shade, so we will save it for a different visit on a less hot day.
The deer are other animals are able to roam freely which was nice to see.
The bird cage is too small for birds :( But so it is in most zoos and animal parks. It is just to nature.
They have a lot of parking, benches and enough restrooms and snacks. The snacks are typical of Berlin and similar places: sausages, French fries, ice cream, sugary drinks, etc.
So if you plan to be there the entire day, I suggest to bring a picnic.
Of course things could be improved. The number one thing would be to ban smoking on the grounds of the park. There are cigarette butts littering the grounds and beach areas in a lot of spots :(
It is a very large place with a diversity of fun things to do for the kids.
The Classic-Remise Berlin in Moabit is a facility where car owners can come to have their cars repaired and maintained. There are dealers, shops and garages on site, as well as spaces to store cars. The building dates back to 1899, making it an interesting place for car enthusiasts of all ages.
Every cars and racing enthusiast should pay a visit to this place, my son loved it! Entrance is free, would have been so cool, if there was some kind of interactive session for the younger ones to take a glimpse inside the car workshops, how ti reassemble car pieces or other related work ..

A collection of amazing cars both classics and new generation ones.
Can easily spent half a day here looking at them.
Wish few were cars open to climb inside and get a feel for the cabin.

Fantastic motor museum. Some great cars on show. We went on the Sunday so none of the garages were operational but it was plain to see many rare and exotic cars were being worked on.
A private function in the restaurant had a jazz band playing and that was nice to listen to as we walked around. Really enjoyed it.

One of Europe's gems to visit if you have an interest in Italian and German cars.
The house store numerous cars from different eras, majority restored or very well kept.
Take a timeout and take a walk among classics and hyped cars.
Other than cars and a few motorcycles the house hosts a few bigger workshops and boutique restoration studios.
I did miss having museum staff stroll the halls once in a while so you could get easier contact to the offices selling cars.
Would visit again if in the region.

For a car enthusiast like me this place is heaven. This place has most of the vintage, Sports, Supersports and Hypercars you can get to see at one place.
From Aston Martin vintage collections to Bugatti Veyron and many more you will get to see up close and in person.
This place is basically a repair and maintenance shops for classic cars and I guess the modern segment cars are here for sale.
All the automotive enthusiast, what are you waiting? You can just take any public transportation from your place till here and have a free entry!!
This place offers huge variety of scale models which you can buy and the range goes from 80€ to 400€. This place also houses a cafe inside where you can enjoy your coffee sitting besides all the marvelous piece of engineering.
I can go on and on about this place..but it would be better you enjoy it more visually rather than reading about it.

There is also a cute little restaurant where you can also have breakfast too surrounded by beautiful classic cars and a nice little cafe outside. Occasionally even live music.
