Beautiful gardens and well maintained palace with interesting audio tours. Yes the work is still ongoing to finish the front of the palace but still worth a visit. Don’t miss out on visiting the roof, especially on a beautiful day - the entrance is a bit hidden so I missed it the first time, had to ask for directions to find it.
Emma LC — Google review
Beautiful palace with beautifully restored interiors. The gardens are also breathtaking. Fully rated spoil grapes shop full of nonsense, where you can't even buy a postcard or a magnet with a palace. They don't even have any text or brochure here, just audio guides. The app could not be downloaded from the Play Store.
Mat?j Bekera — Google review
Download the app and audio tour before you go. Tour is great - informative while being entertaining and never boring. Really high quality.
Palace is great, with very helpful friendly and informative staff spread around and happy to answer questions.
Suggest allowing c1.5 hours for the Palace if doing the two sections of the audio tour, and a further 30 mins minimum for the gardens, or 1.5 hours if you intend to do the formal gardens and the orange route around the boating lake (all of which are well worth doing).
The new gallery space below the courtyard is amazing, with an interesting g exhibition about the project.
O Brown — Google review
Beautiful and great looking palace. Inside there honestly isn’t really all that to do or look at but the few exhibitions and rooms you can check out are worth to check. It’s nice that they give you access to the rooftop as well which shows a beautiful view of the gardens and the surrounding area. I didn’t have time to visit the garden but if you’re there definitely visit the gardens as well, they look beautiful.

Beautiful castle, we went there for the "princess day" and it was very well organised. The gardens are beautiful. The castle itself is closed due to renovation and it will open somewhere next year so I'm looking forward to visiting again once it's fully open.

Very beautiful place. Brand new museum! 2 bar cafes restaurants with amazing lunch as well. A lot of facilities to visit and a great story to read. You need at least 3 hours to discover all the palace rooms and then at least 1 hour to walk through the gardens. There is a hike root as well so be prepared with hat, water and good shoes!
Theano — Google review
Really nice place! Lots to see! We went there just a bit before closing and ended up getting to the gardens right before they started to kick people out. If you end up with the same problem - go to the very end of the gardens first and then walk back - because they start moving people out in that direction.
Layout of the Palace was a little confusing we ended up missing one side of it but we also knew we needed to go to the gardens before they close.
Make sure you go to the rooftop! The views of the garden are maybe even better than what you would see down there.
Oksana Gavrix — Google review
Beautifully renovated Royal Palace in prime condition with amazing gardens in a huge park. Built by/for William III of William and Mary fame (the guy who conquered England in 1666).
The outside is Dutch Renaissance with French formal gardens and a more English park.
The inside is a wonderful collection of rooms in the Renaissance, Baroque, Empire and 1930s styles. Plus the lush new entrance in a very marbly 2020s style.
Catering is so-so. The 2 restaurants could not sell us a bottle of water for my thirsty kids. There is no vending machine, strangely.
Parking is easy and plentiful, but not cheap at 8 euros. Public transportation access is good from the Apeldoorn station.
Ventilation is disappointing. I measured up to 1,050 ppm on a reasonably busy day. Not good enough. It smells stuffy too, which cannot be good for the palace and its contents.
There are two good merchandise shops but nothing I could use in a modern styled home, apart from the obligatory fridge magnet. I think foreign visitors might love the shopping.
The broader Veluwe area is lovely and has amusement parks, forests, a hunting lodge, a Van Gogh museum and a monkey zoo.
Michael Blok — Google review
A fantastic place to be! Even though the palace itself is still closed, but the park and garden are open. We joined the “prince and princes day”, which was just great! Kids just loved it. Very well organized!
Pearl Xia — Google review
I really enjoyed visiting this Palace Het Loo in Apeldoorn. With the museumkaart is free, though the parking is paid.
The palace is really big though visits are only allowed in part of it. The palace is really well conserved and preserved.
It has a huge garden super beautiful that you can see from the rooftop. You can also walk there and even go to the forest that is part of the visit. This forest is really worth the try so take your boots/sneakers. It has a huge and beautiful lake, statues and things like that.
You can spend an entire day over there, if you want. There is a cafe where you can buy some food / drinks.
For me, the best was the library. For those who like books, is difficult not to like it.
Cl?udia Pereira — Google review
Having visited many outstanding palaces and gardens in the UK & Europe this is certainly in our top 5, the gardens are impressive and impeccably maintained.
The entrance to the palace via the underground atrium is spectacular, although the palace is sparsely furnished it doesn’t detract form it’s grandeur.
Andrew Holt — Google review
It is very nicely organised with several routes and tours to follow. The app that you can download can give you the tour as well. Written or spoken.
Beautiful Palace as expected ofcourse! Each room with a story of its own and all the little details present, will keep you busy for as long as you'd like.
Don't forget to look up!
The restaurant is decent enough with decent prices.
The reason why it only get 3 stars from me is this:
In the public Palace gardens in front of the Palace itself, the are some nice benches you can sit and relax. To bad there's a lot of trash laying around. This also has to do with the little amount of bins available.
Inside the Palace, it is so unbelievably busy, that (at least I did) the feeling of being rushed has a constant presence. People almost pushing themselves into the next room, not keeping in account that they are not the only once there. That really put down the experience it gave.
Dennis van Bommel — Google review
Former Palace of the Royal family of the Netherlands, now a museum. Has been renovated recently. It does showcase the palace in different "states"- you can see rooms as they were in the beginning of the monarchy but also some how they looked like just 70 years ago.
Tip: download the app beforehand and bring a headset
Also plan enough time for the garden (if the weather permits it).
Claudia Abert — Google review
Palais Het Loo is really beautiful. You can spend the whole day visiting it, with your friends and family members. You can start with the indoor part of the castle and then see the beautiful gardens. You can click beautiful photos and videos to keep them as memories or share them with your dear ones. You can have a drink or lunch in the restaurant of the castle. Can't wait to visit it again!
ANA'S MAGIC WORLD — Google review
No description inside (I liked that, but my boyfriend didn’t) although you can buy map, download an app with audio-tour or rent device to listen to. At the cafe inside we were waiting for 10-15 minutes and no one showed up so we left. There’s places to buy different kinds of things like postcard, vases and art.

Amazing palace. Recommend it. We went with our daughter and the place has activities for all ages.
Bruno Armindo Esteves Macedo — Google review
Fabulous combination between new and old architecture! watching the play of light with the water of the fountain from below is fascinating. the finest materials in the new building but by no means ostentatious. magnificent view from the roof of the palace. wonderful gardens. in the rearmost part of the site you can relax wonderfully by the lake.
Michael Heumann — Google review
a non-pretentious baroque castle, only the dutch could accomplish that. inside still pretty fancy rooms of course. also the baroque lower and upper garden. at the end there also is an entrance/ exit to the castle forest, closes at 16.30! It is in general a pity, that the castle already closed at 17.00, since a lot of nice hours could be spend in the garden in summer evenings

The Netherlands Open Air Museum features traditional Dutch buildings and transport exhibits with costume guides. Visitors can spend one night in Arnhem and choose between the Airborne Museum and the Open Air Museum.
Amazing place to visit, especially when the weather is good. A lot of old houses form Netherlands collected in one place, perfect to learn about Dutch history. Very kids friendly, with dedicated paly ground and tram line around the whole park. Located on the outskirts of Arnhem on the hills and surrounded by woods. Kind of a must-see in Netherlands.
Piotr K. — Google review
This wonderful open air museum is a fascinating experience to be enjoyed. Be sure to start your trip with a ride on the tram so that you have an idea of what the museum has to offer. Each tram stop beings you to a different themed village. It is astonishing to see how the Netherlands have evolved over time and the way we live. There is so much detail given to the history of the buildings and the actors also help to enhance the overall experience. We unfortunately went on a very wet day so we did not see everything there was to offer. The facilities are great and clean. There are ramps for those in wheelchairs. There is a lovely gift shop at the entrance information centre.
Roger Long — Google review
Very nice museum, really interesting and diverse collection. Loved that there are actors who recreate what life used to look like. I found them to be very friendly and open for questions. Sadly a lot of the information was only available in Dutch, so something to keep in mind. But even so, very interesting.
Andra Maciuca — Google review
There is a lot to see here, with many facilities and is an excellent place for families. The tram route is also handy if you need it. Well worth a visit.
I have removed a star, as paying €8 for parking on top of €22 tickets per adult is daylight robbery
Tom (Bozz) — Google review
The food and drinks are on the expensive side of the spectrum, but the view is amazing the staff is very friendly and I highly recommend this place during summer times when all the plants are blooming.
Other than that it is a very informative place to have a little peek into history.

A nice way to get in touch with Dutch culture and look into the past. The museum is huge and you can spend the whole day there and still not have enough time see everything. It's a wonderful place for people of all ages and it is also pet friendly.
Karen Greyling — Google review
It didn't expect it to be so large and so rich of contents. From what I've seen from google, it seems like a fun destination. A destination where a family can enjoy together. Yes it is. But, it's much more than that. It basically tells you how Dutch people lived in the past, both the beauty and the ugliness. The sites are rather simple, but they tell the story well.
Me and my wife always walk slowly in a museum to understand what is the story and what are the interesting facts. We always walk with google in our hand to understand the context. For this particular museum, it's exhausting and time consuming to do so since it's so large. So, go twice or thrice!
Azzadiva Sawungrana — Google review
Awesome place to learn more about the Netherland, the history, culture and tradition, or just to stroll around enjoying the beautiful scenery. There are varieties of building, from windmills to houses that replicate certain era along with detailed explanation and activities inside. Me and family really love the experience of visiting this place multiple times.
alam sadikin — Google review
The museum is special and very fun to get around. Nice to walk around and get back in the tram. Except a playground in the middle there weren’t many activities for young ones. The guides and demonstrations are all in dutch so wouldn’t recommend for young kids from out of country.
???? ???? — Google review
A brief and detailed glimpse to the history of the Dutch people. This place has all the real 1:1 replicas of the houses, people lived in. Farmhouses, cheese factory, blacksmith and more. There are also live demos of actors which help to demonstrate the lifestyle that was back then.
The place also has a small train which circles the whole park, and stops on each interest point, the children loved it. We spent here half a day, some people spend here almost the entire day, depends on the ages of the children. There is also a children’s place where the can run and climb, in front of it you can find a small restaurant which offers soups, beer, wine and more

An absolute marvel! Great visitors centre, café staff and gift shop and that's before you become completely involved in the surroundings, trams buildings and history that exudes from every angle and exhibit. We could easily taken a second day and still enjoyed every minute, the literature doesn't do this wonderful place any justice, definitely one not to miss if you're going to Holland 🤗😜😍❤️🇳🇱

It's a must see. Very interesting place. Very well maintained. It took us around 3 hours to go around the park. You have the option to walk or else get the tram inside the museum. Coffee, ice cream and other food can be bought. Also noticed that it is dog friendly.

Christmas time!
Second visit to Open Air Museum-be prepared for small Christmas market (including entertainment for the kids and not only), nice atmosphere; pitty that the snow is missing, but the winter just began.

If you want to see a different part of Dutch history this is a must see. Although it is a large property you can utilise the free hop on hop off tram to get to the various areas
It stops at a number of platforms and there's no more than a 5 minute wait between trams. There are also plenty of facilities - toilets, restaurants - available as well. Great day out for all ages.

This was a nice visit but the buildings have all been closed. Sad to have found this out too late. The only restaurant open was the one in the main building. Still it was nice to have the information in English and German.

Very good museum giving you an idea of people living in Netherlands centuries ago. Diverse, bright, inviting, educative, interesting for all ages. There's a tram taking you around the territory with a few stops, very handy for elderly people or families with little kids.
Ekaterina Kirsanova — Google review
It's huge. One day is not enough to experience it all.
Tip: Make use of the train after experiencing each section to save on energy. Pick a few interesting parts within each section if you want to see it all in one day
Tip 2: There are a lot of family oriented activities such as back to past dress-up photography. I enjoyed that.
Tip 3: It's not busy at entry but I always find it handy to buy tickets online.
Tip 4: Wear comfortable footwear. You will walk a lot. Adds to the fun though.
The Burgers' Zoo is a large zoo in the Netherlands that specializes in animals from all over the world, including many rare breeds. The zoo has a realistic reconstruction of their natural habitats, making it a popular tourist destination.
Very, very nice zoo! Really recommend to go.
See also all the photos I made. This will give a good impression in how close you will be able to get to the animals.
They route and layout is very clear. Different animal worlds, like desert, ocean, etc.
Obviously a bit more busy in child holidays, so would be better outside those....
P B — Google review
I generally don’t go to zoos, but this place was just amazing. Loved the way they have created and maintained different habitats. Restaurants inside the rainforest offer best dining experience with life all around. Needs entire day to properly explore the place.
Dhiraj Bhaisare — Google review
I'm not a big fan of zoos, I was here with my team from work and I had little investment in the process of deciding a destination.
Although this looks much better maintained than a lot zoos I remember, I can't imagine this being in favor of the animals.
The different themed areas are nicely designed and there's a lot spaces to keep children busy, which is great because you rarely hear kids screaming.
Of course the shops and restaurants are expensive and sell the usual shirts, key chains, plates, you name it.
In contrast to Germany, you can pay everything anywhere with card or mobile. Love that.
Nicolás Martínez — Google review
Incredible zoo, the different zones were set up so well and made you feel part of the eco system. Lots for the kids to do also with both Indoor and outdoors play areas, we really liked seeing the manatees and the Elephants as well as the desert critters, there is also animals roaming around freely which was nice.
Chris Young — Google review
Great experience with family in the zoo. A lot to see. Prepare to walk. Feels like in a tropical forest and on safari in certain sections of the zoo, there are indoor and outdoor sections. The cafe is great too for lunch, coffee and cakes.

Such a beautiful combination of bush+zoo+desert+ocean and many other things to see .
*Highly recommended for adults and children.
*Provide many EV charging station will give it extra bounce.
There are more than one restaurant and cafe corner.
Visitors with kids will love it very accessible with the kid stroller all around the place .
I thought first the ticket price is high but when you are inside you will realize how this place well made and organized.

One of the best zoological parks in Europe.
Founded in 1913 by Johan Burgers. A 15 min (very nice scenery!) bus ride from the center of Arnhem.
It's a huge park with a great variety of animals and with the goal to preserve and rescue endangered species.
The staff is friendly, helpful and have great knowledge about their animals.
Tor Jeanson — Google review
Very nice zoo! We enjoyed the zoo for its nice and spacious enclosures. The zoo has a good balance between good acces to the animals and rest for the animals. Very nice pathways and nice foliage all around. There is a very wide selection of animals. The mangrove enclosure is a work of art. The manatees are amazing. The chimpansee and gorilla enclosures are also impressive. Enough restaurants. The food/souvenirs were expensive. The ticket price is fitting for such a nice zoo. The pathways are also very accessible for strollers. Very accessible for toddlers all around. This Zoo has perfected being a Zoo.
Maarten Prinsen — Google review
Very big zoo, with a large range of animals. There's also three playgrounds, one of which is indoors.
The animals seem well cared for and their cages are not too small.
The layout is a bit confusing and a few more sanitary stations could be added. There's a musical now, and the logo on the plan obscures a few paths. I would recommend using the plan from their website, as it doesn't feature the stupid ad and you can actually see _all_ the paths.
Admission price is very steep. On top of that, €8 for parking seems very excessive. But hey, judging by the amount of people there on a rainy day, they can get away with it.
Pieter Biesemans — Google review
This zoo is a personal favorite due to its diverse animals and realistic ecosystems. From deserts to tropical bushes, the experience is immersive. Animals are well cared for, and the zoo offers ample facilities. Visit early till closing for a comfortable, day-long exploration. Online tickets are recommended to avoid short weekend lines as well as to avail some nice online discounts. Should you plan to visit regularly, an annual pass is a must.

Probably the most beautiful zoo I've ever been to!
I'm not really interested in the Safari-type sections of zoos but every other section we went round multiple times as they were incredible
Love the theming of zones and the enclosure design

It's a beautiful zoo especially like this Sunday when it was raining most part of the day. De jungle(Bush) is great fun to do with you children. The aquariums are gorgeous. Furthermore there is a huge variety in places where to eat with each having there own theme. The prices are high that is true but we'll spend.
Casper Koopman — Google review
Incredibly gorgeous place, they don't just have amazing animals but the park itself is also amazing to walk through without even looking to the animals. But the animals are amazing too, such a variety! Make sure to be early because we got lucky to see nearly all animals because they were feeding them.
Lindsay Landman — Google review
An amazing Zoo to visit with kids. There are many restaurants and kids playgrounds.
The ocean (aquarium) is breath taking, huge and has a variety of sea animals.
The concept of different environments is a real interesting experience.
You can easily spend 5 hours here if you have kids!

Well maintained zoo.. lots of species in zoo and taken care very well. Mangrove is very good to hop around for butterflies within its Evo system. Lot of greenery around and oceans section is also one of the highlight..

A lovely zoo for all ages. The zoo is divided into several different zones which are very nicely dressed accordingly. What I personally likes a lot was the safari restaurant which was spacious and had a lovely view over the safari enclosure. Here, you could grab a snack or drink while watching safari animals like giraffe's and zebras. The prices for the food here are quite on the high-end in my opinion though. Another touch I liked where the small "offroad" trails in the bush area which gave me a real exploring feeling.
Jari van Ham — Google review
We really enjoyed our visit at Burgers' Zoo. The park has a lot of area's (Ocean, Bush, Mangrove, Desert etc) where you can wander around. You can clearly see a lot of love went into creating and maintaining these areas. Food at the restaurants is a bit on the expensive side so you might want to consider bringing your own.
Michiel Essen — Google review
Still, I think, the best Zoo in The Netherlands. Explored it and was again amazed by the Ocean, Safari, Dessert etc. Enough parking, no waiting at entrance (our luck) at plenty of restaurants to have a rest. Burgers' Zoo, after 30 years since my last visit, still on no. 1
Gerrit Willemsen — Google review
Such a wonderful place for these beautiful animals. The zoo is not only well maintained but the residents here are looking like they enjoy their life so much. Let alone the bush and the dessert area. Infinite fun 🤩
Y Han — Google review
This is one of the best zoos in the Netherlands. I have visited this zoo several times, and it is always an adventure. You can easily spend a day here.
The zoo covers diverse habitats such as deserts, savannas, and oceans. You'll find lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, tigers, and countless bird species, representing a wide range of big and small animals. In a thoughtful manner, the zoo educates the public about how human actions are disrupting the habitats of these animals, plants, and our planet in general. I particularly enjoy the ocean section, where you can observe and learn about various sea animals and plants. It is also highly educational for kids. The animals are well treated, though it's important to note that, being a zoo, they are kept without their will.
There are numerous playgrounds for kids. While the zoo offers several restaurants, they tend to be overpriced and not the best in terms of quality. Be sure to prepare yourself well for a long and adventurous day.
Eskeatnaf Mulugeta — Google review
Top day out!!! A zoo with different themes and play areas.
Easy to walk around, not too big and plenty of restaurants and a picnic area overlooking the giraffes!
Sarah Mc Loughlin — Google review
The zoo is amazing! It is the best place to spend the day with kids! There are playgrounds, an aquarium, many wonderful pavilions with a variety of plants and animals. Many of the animals can be seen up close, and they are in a large area, not at all like cages, which does not make me sad. The menu of the restaurants is a disappointment, I think it could be much more varied and healthy. Otherwise everything is marvellous!
Elen — Google review
Best zoo I've ever been to. Most animals have enough space, live in similar habitats as they do in the wild. The biomes flow into eachother.
Kaas Kop — Google review
They have an amazing inside area, so even on rainy days its a great visit. If you buy the yearly subscription, you can go in without any effort however many times you want, great for regular walks too! With family, alone, doesn't matter, this zoo is for everyone. Just be polite to the animals and respect the staff members. They do amazing work for this zoo. If there is any place I would like to see improved its the dessert area, the dessert area is the most unpopular area, mainly because there aren't as many animals to see like the Bush, Ocean or Mangrove. They are around you in the dessert but not really, I'd love to see more unique dessert animals that work well with visitors walking through. For example reptiles, but of course this wouldn't work well if you have a Lynx and Warthogs there. So I get their choices, but I think the dessert area could definitely use a revamp. Other than that the rest of the zoo is amazing. There is also a bird area in the back which could use some more love. My 2nd favorite zoo in the netherlands!

Apenheul, a Dutch animal park located in Apeldoorn, offers visitors the opportunity to observe over 200 primates freely roaming around. In addition to the main attraction of observing these creatures up close, Apenheul also features a treetop trail and a nocturnal monkey house. For those looking to make the most out of their visit, combining Apenheul with a trip to Palace Het Loo provides a full day's worth of activities.
Amazing place, not only for kids but for adults too! You are really close to the monkeys and you see them jumping around the park. Before entering, you are advised to put your belongings inside a closed bag (they are free and with different sizes). You can walk around the whole park without any problem and there are services inside (restaurants, toilet, etc.)
Alvaro Lau — Google review
Amazing all day experience. Very big park, most monkeys walking freely. The gorilla show is a must! Only downside is the limited eating facilities, besides krokets and hot dogs there is only fries if you get hungry even though it is really an all-day activity

Apenheul is an insane place, we were two adults and had lots of fun! Lots of monkeys close to you! Some practicalities
- Lockers need a 1€ coin, make sure to have one with you (The coin is returned at the end)
- Parking has to be paid with card and the maximum is €9.30 a day
- Even if you go with a backpack they will make you put your stuff in the park’s official bags (no charge)
- We walked without a rush and the total time spent in the park (including Gorilla feeding presentation) was 3 hours
- All paths in the park are possible for wheelchairs / trolleys 👌🏻
- There are services 🚾 in different points of the park so you can drink lots of water without that being an issue
- We went with a bag with water, chips, sandwiches and since everything is so flat, carrying is not so bad 🧊
- We went from Amsterdam, going by public transportation was (roughly) 19€ per person each way so it was definitely worth to rent a car (in the end, payed like 75€ for mywheels)
It’s a beautiful experience, recommended for everyone!

Very nice park where some of the monkeys are roaming free.. not all ofcourse. Enough places to eat and drink within the park. Just make sure none of your pockets and bags are open because these monkeys will steal anything! Very cool for the younger kids!
Wynand Shankar — Google review
There is a lot of walking, but the children have an incredible joy to see the monkeys so close. In the center of the zoo there is also a huge playground for children, where you can easily spend an extra hour. The best way to see many species of monkeys, which have been created in conditions close to natural. A place worth spending every euro.
Aga Fi — Google review
If you arrive early (from 10 a.m to 2 p.m) the monkeys do absolutely nothing but sleep and chill. Food, drinks and souvenirs are very expensive. And a lot of the fun parts are closed for some reason.

Lovely Primate park with lots for kids to do. The place was really nicely laid out and thought it was great how seamless it was walking from area to area.

Beautiful zoo, with 35 species of monkeys, including gorillas, chimps, orang utans, bonobos, gibbons, but also sloths and cabibaras. Great park with surprising enclosures. Parking is a bit of a walk, but affordable (10 euro for a day) and the walk is through the park where the zoo is located in.

Lovely park in a beautiful forest setting. The drive there is lovely as well, don't take the highway, take the N-numbered-routes! In the park many areas where monkeys just walk among the people. Don't need to plan for a whole day, doable in about 4 hours (cheaper tickets from 2:00pm available).

Visited as an adult couple while on holiday. All the signs are in Dutch, German and English, and the staff were happy to help when our Google translating wasn't good enough to make an educated guess. Despite the drizzle, there were plenty of species pottering about under the trees, with no evidence that they had been forced outside (and plenty of other species that had sensibly taken themselves inside to gaze out the windows at the rain!). Got close to quite a few different species, in particular the squirrel monkeys, red howler monkeys and Barbary macaques, but all the animals we saw seemed well adjusted to captive life and not afraid of doing their own thing close to visitors. Gorilla show is only in Dutch, but this is noted on signs, and would have been fine if the silverback hasn't come out, taken a bite of chicory and then decided that the offering was not outweighing the rain and scarpered sedately off! Can't blame him! Humans had jackets and were sitting under a canopy in the dry, after all!

A great day out for all the family. Walk around the well marked route ( good access for wheelchair and people with walking disabilities), and mingle with the many free running monkeys (more than 30 different types to find). Make sure you find the time to visit the three shows ( all in Dutch, but the staff speak English and are willing to answer any questions). Unfortunately we found the food on offer at the restaurant! to be very expensive and not very nice ( when we visit again, we will take our own food with) large parking area, cost between €10 and €11. (bus stop on main road near to parking area)Approx 10 minutes walk from carpark to the entrance.

Looks well-maintained and exciting for kids. It takes about 10 minutes of walking from the parking lot to Apenheul's entrance. You walk through a beautiful park. Apenheul itself was busy, but less busy than I expected during summer holidays. There are lots of species and the animals seem to be doing OK from uneducated eyes, like mine. The prices for food there are spicy and there are not a lot of options. In hindsight I would have brought food from home. Take a light backpack because you need to wear it facing the front.

Fantastic experience, get up close with all species of monkeys and plenty of activities, refreshments and fun for all. I was visiting Dutch parents and we all enjoyed the visit, a place for all ages.
Enough parking spots, I could even charge my car for free! The place is very big, you have lots of opportunities in the wellness resort and you can easiliy fill your day.

Booked massage of 25 minutes and it was approximately 17. The masseur was going harder on spots that I have pointed as painful. Didn't understand the reason for it. I let her finish what she was doing because I am pain tolerant... Apart from this when the spa is full of people is not enjoyable experience. You had to be alert for your belongings as many were trying to wear your robe... Also not much guidance was given for new customers.. The food is highly overpriced but tasty and some of the staff is kind

Had a nice and relaxing day, on Tuesday was not really busy. There are a lot of saunas and bath options you can choose. The food indeed expensive and the ‘kruidenbad’ has no difference than others.
P Paramitha — Google review
Perfect way to relax, highly recomend it. Note to the lady's I did the bathing suit day once, I dont recommend It at all. Doesnt feel safe when men from a closed off culture use these events to stalk and gawk at women often twice their age. It was not a safe feeling seeing a group of young immature boys watching woman in undecent way, surounding and crowding them just to see nudity. Luckily they dont dare to turn up on nude days.People who visit here for health and relaxation dont stare at each others nudity. On normal days its perfectly safe and luckily phones are not allowed in the relaxation area. They often have nice arrangements, great food, smoothy is a must try. Enjoy

Great place to relax. It's not as big as some other spa centers in NL, but still plenty of saunas and baths to choose from.
They also have a lot more 'bathing suit days' than other places, if you prefer to not be naked.
Maria van Vliet — Google review
We came in and apparently it was a "naked only" day which we had no clue of, noone told us at the reception. After spending half an hour we were asked to leave because we refused to go naked. Their website has no english language, there was no way for us to know. A week later still waiting for the money back.

Nice sauna, we were there for +/- 8 hours and went in all saunas, baths and did a 'opgieting', really recommend doing it to give yourself a boost! Bathclothing days are great.
The food is expensive, but does taste good.

Always had a great time here. Everytime I feel like I've reborned. Such a great place to forget about the world, relax and connect with your inner self. They have a big variety of saunas, warm and cold pools. The price is really good for what they offer. The restaurant is a little bit expensive but everything we ate was good.

Really enjoyed this spa. Spent all day here, really relaxing rooms with a good variation of themes and concepts. Well maintained outdoor area. The highlight was definitely the saunameisters, I’ve never seen sauna shows like these 🧖♀️ Would definitely visit again. Only note is food and drinks are pricey.
Emily Panteli — Google review
A lot of saunas, baths, pools showers. I was there on Saturday night and it was a bit noisy sometimes. One time a employee had to come to ask for more silence which was nice. Maybe it had to do with it being a day when swimwear was necessary.
Vincent Jager — Google review
Very crowded, impossible to rest and relax, the price does not correspond to the quality. The bathrobes provided were old and wet. The worst spa I have ever been to in the Netherlands.
Violetta Sharoglazova — Google review
The resort is quite outdated. I visited the kleidindag, bit there were very crowded. Saunas looks old, especially the ones, that are locsted outside the main building. Hamam - the sealing is close to falling down, infra sauna - plastic wools. Saunas outside are cold, probably because of the economy. The swimming pools also cold, bath themthelves are rusty. Io course it is an option to go there if another places are full, but otherwise I would go for another place.
Natka (Amsterdita) — Google review
Very lovely experience here. I went on one of their 'badkledingdagen', meaning everybody wore bathing suits, so it was a bit busier than normal I reckon. The sauna's are all fantastic but the northern light one wasn't as hot as promised. Also tried the food, portions are big and could be easily shared.

Ouwehands Zoo, located in Rhenen, is a renowned establishment known for its diverse range of animals and naturalistic habitats. One of its main attractions is the presence of giant pandas, making it the only zoo in the Netherlands where these creatures can be found. The zoo offers a relaxing atmosphere with ample space for both animals and visitors. It's particularly suitable for families with children, as there are various play areas available.
Great zoo with a lot of attractions and activities for the kids. Big enough, nicely planned, visually rich. I personally did not like fences here and there, but on the other hand animals get a lot of space. In three hours we just walked through, even skipped some animals. So plan accordingly, the zoo is really big!

The zoo is quite big! It also has a lot of attraction and activities for the kids. You can see pandas here. They're so cute! 😆 plus you could get panda accessories at the gift shop
We visited the zoo during the Lights Nights magic forest was set up.. What an amazing experience that turned into! We will definitely also be back for a day trip, it feels like a well organized and fun place. There's a ton of playgrounds and everything looks very well kept and maintained.

It was great to finally be able to come back and see the animals, even if it was a very warm day.
Beautiful enclosures and plenty of space for the animals to wander around.

Fantastic place. Great Pandas. You can walk above the Bears, see bats and more.... . There is an amazing big out door play area but also indoor play area with climbing and water play. Have some change of clothes. This indoor area also has animals (of which the bats 🦇)

It was a nice weather on Saturday! Our son 2.2 years old enjoyed watching the animals, the animals seemed to be a bit tired other than monkeys 🙈! Also for kids there is a play area ! White pandas 🐼 were the highlight of the trip as I have never seen them other than movies! Definetly one time visit if you have kids! The restaurants get busier and there are not much options to eat if you are a vegetarian 🥗

Fun zoo with plenty of animals. Parking is adequately priced at 8€ for the entire day. Tickets are a little expensive, but help care for the animals. Probably one of the best zoo’s of the country, so I can definitely recommend it!

We haven't yet been to the zoo as an ordinary zoo, we went to their night time experience run from the end of November until early January. It's beautiful and rooted in the Chinese lantern festival tradition. Called Aqua Luna it uses large illuminated images of sea creatures as well as other animals. Really quite magical and not a Christmas tree or Santa Claus in sight!

What an amazing place. Animals look great, healthy and happy, their pens are clean and spacious, some animals are within the arm’s reach - the best zoo I have ever visited. Not to mention the big pandas, gorillas, tigers and other creatures. Simply a stunning place. We’ve spent there like four hours and it wasn’t enough.

Good zoo with pandas 🐼 among a wide range of other impressive animals. Nice sized enclosures. Bear and wolf walk through is a nice feature. The large indoor play area and Gorilla house are well considered if the weather turns. Some of the animal facts are slightly unusual when translated 😳

This zoo has a relaxing atmosphere, offering a large variety of animals and plenty of space. It is very kid-friendly, suitable for children of all ages. You can spend an entire day observing beautiful animals that are in good condition. There are several play areas (both indoor and outdoor) for the kids. You'll have the chance to see large animals such as elephants and giraffes, as well as lions, tigers, primates, pandas, sea creatures, and many more. Don't miss the sea lion show. Depending on the season, it can get busy, but most of the time, it's manageable. There is paid parking available next to the zoo.

The zoo I visited offers an incredible diversity of wildlife. From elephants, giraffes, bears, and pandas to an impressive collection of reptiles and various bird species, it showcases the richness of natural habitats. The presence of different species, ranging from deer to wolves, highlights the variety of wildlife coexisting. Moreover, the zoo provides a delightful experience with its charming cafes and opportunities to savor local flavors during the visit. What stands out the most is the meticulous care given to each animal, reflecting the zoo's commitment to quality and genuine affection for the residents.

Beautiful zoo with a very big selection of animals. It's a bit outdated, but it doesn't matter. Both children and adults will find here what nice. The most important thing for us was to see pandas, since my child is a big fan of them. There are two of them in Ouwehands zoo.

The zoo has lot of kids rides which are indoor and outdoor. There are lot of restaurants inside and evenly spread.
The place is wheelchair friendly and stroller friendly and lot of toilets are also there.
You can find from acquatic to terrestrial and some wild animals all in here.
Must visit
Dolphin, seal & walrus shows & demonstrations in major marine animal park with touch tanks.
We visited with our 10 year old daughter; it was my first time back since I was a kid. I appreciate how they’ve made possible for kids to get close and experience these animals, while keeping the focus on the animals’ care and well-being rather than on entertaining. We had a lovely time. Also, kudos to the very clever coffee deal: Get a reusable cup and refills on all warm drinks at the park are free.

Small place but a good visit for the experience. Keep the expectations low and you would very well enjoy. Check for online discounts you would find few. The Harderwijk village itself was very beautiful. P2 has day ticket. Better to park there and walk to the entrance. It takes 4-5 mins. Parking ticket was 10.5 eur. Obviously dolphins were the main attraction. Apart from the shows go to the underground to have near by view of dolphins and walrus. There are slides and play stuff for kids to fully engage. The beach and water slides were closed when we went.

It has lost its charm. No great shows. Hardly couple of them. They have not maintained well. Very unclean. This place was best 4-5 years before with full fledged entertainment for kids. But I would not suggest anyone to visit and even the ticket price is high. Also the restaurants are closed inside. Not fun anymore.

Great place to spend with the kids. Water play area in summer added bonus . 4 star rating because because in dolphin show acoustics not good and a glow wand toy was being sold for 10 euro a piece ( just a basic toy that lights up ) kind of sad because a lot of kids would not have got one because of the ridiculous price

If you are a curious aquatic life lover you should definitely visit.
You will get to know a lot of information about the fishes and dolphins. Just know the information will be provided in Dutch. The place is great for kids and adults as well.
There is one main show of dolphin in the grand theatre and it’s in English and a must watch. It’s enticing they treat all the animals so well. The tricks dolphins do it’s beautiful to watch.
We did dolphin experience as well which is paid extra where you can touch and play with dolphins and learn a little more about them. It was quite an experience to have. I would totally recommend it but it’s a bit pricey. Totally your call.

Amazing place for a day trip for kids and even adults. We love all the shows, especially how well executed the Dolphin show is. We have been to this places more than 5 times and still like it. There little village and the walking path next to it, is beautiful, that always a nice way to conclude the trip.
Everything is very well taken care of, and clean, the staffs are very nice too, always smiling and friendly to kids.
The playground is nice and the water park is super. However, the changing room & toilet there need to be improved. The water is a bit cold, so if there is no sun, it can be quite cold, i guess kids have no problem with that.
Totally recommended.

The DAF Museum is a fascinating exhibit showcasing the history of the DAF brand with an impressive collection of trucks, rare production and prototype vehicles. While it may not be suitable for young children as there is limited entertainment available, it is ideal for car and truck enthusiasts who are interested in the development of engines over the years. The museum also features a cafe and gift shop, making it a great place to spend some time exploring.
Great place to visit, you can spend there at least hour, but probably more, depends on your interest in cars. Especially for kids is an amazing place. There are some snacks, nice fast packed soups and coffee just to sit and talk.

Nice museum for adults and older kids. We came here with our 3 year old and at one point he was rather bored - there isn’t much entertainment for young kids. They can sit in a couple of truck cabins and busses, but that’s pretty much it.
Very interesting for those who love cars and trucks/history and are interested in development of the engines over the years etc. It was very unclear for us whether there was a carpark or not so we just parked in the area on a street there.

If you like cars and/or antique stuff, that's an awesome place for you. Many old cars, buses and trucks. In some of them you may get in to take photos and take a look, in others you can't (pay attention to the signs). There are some people to who you may ask questions about the cars and equipments in exhibition. There are also signs with information about most of the cars; some are written in dutch and english and others are written only in dutch.

Great museum. I’ll be honest - I really didn’t think I’d spend more than 1h here, but I spent almost 3 h! It’s a very nicely organized museum, there is a lot of information on DAF and everything they’ve produced. There is also a nice exhibition of privately owned cars, which I also enjoyed quite a lot. I definitely recommend this museum if you like cars. Otherwise, it might be boring.

Amazing museum with tons of trucks, buses, military vehicles, road and race cars. There are also many DAF's engines, axis and transmissions on show as well as opened items that we can turn cranks and see how the equipment works.
We can also enter the modern truck cabins to feel how comfortable they have become nowadays.
To me the crown jewels are the F3 car, rally car from the London - Sydney marathon, the rally trucks, and the Williams F1 mock up.
Really worth the visit.

Don't go there unless you have a free ticket or the NL museum ticket. In my view, its a crowded car show display nothing exciting there. The only piece I found nice was the trucks and your chance to go in. If you don't speak Dutch its not the best place to go as you wouldn't understand plenty of things. They should go learn from the Germans in their car museums how to build one.
Andrew “Andy” Kamel — Google review
I thought I knew most car models but I'm surprised that I've not heard of DAF. My miss as this Dutch manufacturer has been in business since 1928 making mostly trucks with a car business that started in the 1950s. I can't say I recall seeing a DAF vehicle on the road in the USA.
This large museum is filled with dozens of full trucks, buses, some truck cabs and lots of cars. You'll find haulers and tow trucks and fire trucks and military models and even an open-wheel race car. Everything is in perfect condition and they all have captions with detailed information on the model, how this particular one was acquired and some history.
A number of the floor models are available to be climbed into for pictures through most are "no touching" which is understandable. The small gift shop has models and postcards and such for purchase.
I spent an enjoyable two hours exploring and viewing. It was fun!

The Philips Museum is a fascinating exhibition showcasing the evolution of a light-bulb manufacturer into a global electronic conglomerate, focusing on their contributions to music, lighting, health and communications. Visitors can discover the company's history and innovative solutions towards healthcare while enjoying interactive activities for children like treasure hunts. A popular attraction in Eindhoven, this museum offers an engaging journey through time with highlights such as Keith Richards' tape-recorder and an Oscar-winning wide-screen projector.
I really love everything about this museum. Small museum of two floors though so informative that you will feel too involved to skip anything. VR glasses experience was good. Also loved all the range of products that Philips developed over time. You could see for example first product they had designed in the past. You can also get a free audio tour where it explains mostly everything. There is a short film as well at one of the sections. You can hear the history and work experience of few ex Philip employees. I was very lucky to also catch a lecture at 2pm about radio invention which was hell interesting. Applauds for organizing this and explaining the technical details of radio and how the radio frequency worked back in those days. They had a cute cafe near the enterance where if you order a coffee then you get a cookie with Philips shield imprinted on it. Which is such a great cool idea! Also, the bulb is used as a flower vase on the cafe tables which is so creative. LED lights looking like a candle were also fun to see. Thanks to the entire team who organises and maintains this museum. I find the whole experience worth my visit and could happily recommend anyone to visit ❤️

A great experience. Do not miss if you are in Eindhoven. It documents the history of Philips from formation in the 1800 and as they said "it all starts with Lights!" The museum has several tours and videos which are very informative including the early manufacturing workshop (See the photos), their activities during both WW 1 and WW2 and present day scientific feats. Even if I am not a big museum person this was a really educational and fun visit. You get to see and feel a piece of modern history that everyone kind of remembers, nostalgic I guess.
There are mini lectures in English and Dutch which are a must. The speaker is fluent in English and the presentation is educational, we loved it. Note, the first lecture starts around 14:30 in English and there two lectures one about TVs and another about radios.
The stuff inside the museum are super polite and nice. Overall a really good time spent and we came out with more knowledge and facts.

This wasn't too far of a walk from Eindhoven Centraal station. The museum pass can be used here. The staff showed the lockers, toilets and then the start of the museum, extremely helpful. Overall the museum gave a nice overview of the company, from the very beginning to the evolution of future state of the organization. Had a good museum experience here yesterday. We bought tickets on the door, which were a good price for the amount of time spent there and extent of information shown.
Really interesting to hear about the history of Philips, the breadth of products and impact on technology and city of Eindhoven.
Spent between 2-3 hours here, probably read most of the information boards but there were more audio and video interactions that we did not do, and there appeared to be a lot of children activities that we did not partake in; so more time could have been indulged here.

A "must see" museum if you are in Eindhoven, kind English speaking staff, nicely elaborated descriptions of the exhibits also in English, many interesting exhibits inside, even the children were excited, you can easily spend 2 hours inside, the toilets, hangers for clothes, and even small cafe available, children can do a quiz using a torch and you can also find many interactive panels there, the old Philips electronics was amazing, I like to remember those times, Cons: the part with hand-works is only for reservation

A museum showing the history of the Philips company. Philips is a huge part of the Eindhoven culture, and the several companies split from Philips is one of the main drivers of Eindhoven’s popularity. However, the museum was quite short and I didn’t feel like I could get a sense of the company’s history. There were a lot of children attractions if you are into that.

The museum tells the story of the Philips company from its founding in 1891 by Gerard and Frederik Philips through to the present day where it's known for medical equipment, consumer electronics and home appliances and yes, light bulbs.
Lots to see and movies to watch, most of it in Dutch with English captions. So much history of this massive conglomerate company! There is of course a gift shop and I picked up a new fridge magnet.

The Philips Museum was well worth the visit and an education regarding the company's history in Eindhoven. Well worth a visit.

I really enjoyed this museum. I really didn’t know much about the Philips history, just their appliances 🙃 The information that is presented is very well structured. I spent much more time than I thought I would here, and that says a lot. I highly recommend you visit this museum while in Eindhoven. I’m pretty sure you will not regret it.

Are you ready to geek out on some serious science and technology history? Then get ready to plug in and power up at the Philips Museum in Eindhoven, the ultimate destination for all things Philips. The reason why I brought my kids along for a positively electric time!
This museum is an electrifying experience that will shock and awe you with its displays and exhibits. From the Evolution of Light exhibit to the Philips Research Lab, you'll be positively charged with excitement as you explore the fascinating history of this pioneering electronics company.
Oh, my techies-in-training kiddos love learning about the groundbreaking technologies that Philips has developed over the years, from X-ray tubes to cassette tapes to LED lighting systems.
But let's be real here, it's not just my kids who had a good time. As an adult, I appreciate the museum's attention to detail and its fascinating look at the history of Philips.
I can assure you, this isn't your typical boring museum experience. The Philips Museum has a quirky, playful side too, with exhibits like the Philips Design Studio, which showcases the company's coolest product designs over the years. Plus, there's plenty of interactive fun for kids (and kids at heart) with hands-on exhibits that will keep everyone entertained for hours.
I hope this review captures the fun and excitement of the Philips Museum while also giving you a taste of its fascinating history and innovative exhibits.
St John's Cathedral is a grand church located in the Netherlands that was established during the 13th century. It boasts an impressive 73-meter high spire and is considered as one of the finest churches in the country. Constructed from 1336 to 1550, this cathedral features stunning late-Gothic stained-glass windows, a revered Madonna statue, and an organ case from the seventeenth century.
This Cathedral is amazing from the beginning you can see its Gothic style from the outside and inside --however, back on the days was more Romanesque but it was demolished =( --. You can walk for most of the places inside. as It is Gothic the combination between dark places and lights, makes it perfect contrast. the main tower has 74 meters and this make it the highest church in The Netherlands.

Last weekend we visited this beautiful cathedral. It was one of the last weekends that we were allowed to clime the cathedral from the outside, what made this visit extra special.

I am an American visiting friends in The Netherlands, and I recently visited the Sint-Janskathedraal, which is is a stunning cathedral in s'-Hertogenbosch.
The cathedral is almost 800 years old and includes many popular relics visited by the Catholic faithful.
I visited the day before Easter Sunday, and the cathedral looked perfect. It was inspirational to see all of the holy items, the artwork, and the architecture.
Be sure not to miss the amazing statues on the roof of the cathedral and be sure to look for the woman on her cell phone (calling a hotline to God)!

The Catholic Cathedral Church of St. John (Sint-Janskathedraal) of 's-Hertogenbosch, North Brabant is one of the most beautiful churches in the Netherlands. It is a Gothic church with richly decorated interior. It serves as the cathedral for the bishopric of 's-Hertogenbosch (Den Bosch). inside you can see the miraculous Statue of Our Lady of ’s-Hertogenbosch. There is also a small chapel dedicated to orthodox icons. It is definitely worth visiting.

Going up to the top roof is great! You can really appreciate the art, the work and the risk that those workers took to create and build such a magnificent piece of architectural work

Simply majestic! Fist time in a cathedral and happy it was this one. Amazed by everything in the Church. Grote Kerk truly justifies its name (grote=big) , a gigantic monument of beauty and elegance . And don't forget to eat in any of the cafe places around , a Bossche Bol ..harder to write the name than eat the thing

When you get a century's experience due to renovation in the church, one should not miss it. One of the oldest churches of Den Bosch is a must visit to go through an exhibition and see the intricacies carved so beautifully on every wall.

We used the chance for the Avontuurlijke Klim at Sint-Jan: climbing all the way to the top and seeing the cathedral from so close, with the view from it was breathtaking! Not really for the ones who are afraid of heights but recommended highly as this is a one in a lifetime opportunity!

The Noordbrabants Museum is a modern museum showcasing various objects related to regional and global history, culture, and art. The museum features exhibits from famous artists such as Dali, Van Gogh, and Picasso. Additionally, the museum's courtyard is well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. Always a joy to visit this peaceful location in a busy city centre. A large collection of historical works, a tour through Brabant's growth over the centuries and consistently inspiring contemporary art shows, from both young creatives just starting out, through to established artists with career spanning shows.
I even joined up with the Museumkaart so I can return as many times as I wish over the year and other places. It worked out that after about 4-5 shows everything else is for free, and you can return to amazing places like this again and again. And support them too!

The Beekse Bergen zoo offers visitors the unique experience of observing various wild animals such as elephants, lions and apes in their natural habitat. The park provides guided tours on buses, boats and walking paths, allowing for a diverse way of exploring the grounds. The zoo sets itself apart from others by offering the opportunity to drive through areas where many of the animals roam freely which is an exceptional experience.
Great place to spend time with kids. It was a unique experience for us to be able live right next to a few lions 🦁 . You hear them roaring the whole night but it was exciting and fun. The safari park has lot of animals to visit by foot or by car or by boat. We tried all and it was worth it. There is a big fun park for kids with rides as well. Days well spent.

A beautiful zoo where animals roam freely. I got together with my friends and their kids for a Sunday activity. It was a pleasant day. You can do a safari by bus and ship. There is also an option that you can do with your vehicle if you prefer, but it is a bit limited compared to others. What I don't like about this place is that the food options were a little less; frankly, we couldn't find anything to eat. But if you want to do a safari without going to Africa, it is a good option. The parking fee is 9.50 Euros, and you can get it from the internet or the kiosks at the entrance.
There is no control when entering, but they check one by one when leaving. I would recommend not taking it in advance to don't stay at the exit.

This zoo for me was one of the best zoos I have seen so far. First of all the you could get a chance to see all the animals which you would see on the map. It was really exciting for kids to see them all. There are different options to explore it , by walk, by your vehicle, by the boat.
Special attractions were, lion, tiger of different types. There are sufficient sitting areas to sit and eat and toilets.
All area is wheel chair friendly and you also get a kid cart in case if you forget to bring.

Great experience, will come back here for sure. The allotment for the animals is huge and all of them seem relaxed and happy, I did not see signs of stress. Really impressive. Oh and, the toddler elephants are really adorable!

Beekse Bergen offers an unforgettable safari experience that is sure to impress even the most seasoned travelers. The vast plains and rolling hills of the park provide an ideal backdrop for a thrilling adventure that is both educational and entertaining.
One of the best ways to experience Beekse Bergen is on foot or car. These safaris allow visitors to get up close and personal with a variety of animals, including, lions, rhinos, and giraffes. The guides are happy to answer questions and provide insight into the behavior and habits of the animals, making for an educational and informative experience.
For those who prefer a more adventurous safari experience, Beekse Bergen offers the option to drive your own car through the park. This allows visitors to explore the park at their own pace and get even closer to the animals. The park provides a app that details the different routes through the park and provides information on the various animals that can be seen along the way.
Overall, Beekse Bergen offers a safari experience that is both impressive and unforgettable. Whether you choose to explore the park on foot or by car, you are sure to be greeted by breathtaking scenery and a wide variety of fascinating animals. The park is well-maintained and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, making for a truly enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend a visit to Beekse Bergen to anyone looking for a unique and exciting safari adventure.
My family and I will certainly come back again.

Interesting concepts of a safari park, mixed with a zoo. It is a big spacious park, where the animals have lots of space, with a focus on African animals. The car safari is a nice ride passing the animal, and sometimes engaging with them. The zoo part is a good walk, but the variety of animals is a bit limited. The extremely large elephant enclosure is under serious reconstruction, and looks promising. A nice tip: if you are a member of the ANWB, go to their website for discounted tickets, saves 20-25%.

We stayed at the lion's area. So basically our backyard was all lion's. It was an amazing experience. My kids enjoyed it so much.
Every other day, they feed the lion's at 9:45am in the morning. If I come back, I'm staying again with the lion's. The lion's roar is so powerful and beautiful.

A very nice experience in a sunny day. A perfect tour with the kids, a lot of animals to see. We liked the possibility to visit the park in different ways, by walking, by car and also by bus and a boat. Very well organized also with restaurants. Recommended.

A little bit expensive (35 euros pp), but it's nice to see rare animals. Unfortunately you can't feed them. You can watch the zoo by walking, driving slowly your own car or by boat (too far to see animals clearly) .
Marina Makarenko (Bella Thompson) — Google review
Outstanding. This safari park covers a large area and harbors many animals. The animals have large amounts of space - you can’t possibly compare that to any other regular zoo out there. There’s also quite a few young animals, which you might not always see at first, but if you do it is always a beautiful sight, since it indicates how at home they feel here.
There are a lot of great animals to see here. One of my personal favorites were the ring-tailed lemurs. They roam completely free in their territory with no fences whatsoever. Fascinatingly, they are not shy or scared at all - in fact, they will walk onto the path all by themselves and happily let you come closer to observe them. A very unique experience.
The boat-safari gets you from one end of the park to the other within about 30 minutes, while also providing a small tour at the same time. You may see a few animals near the water, however, most of them will likely be pretty far away and you might not see much. There’s no guarantee.
The park offers multiple opportunities to get food, drinks, and all sorts of snacks. This includes restaurants and also small food stands. Most of it is quite expensive, so you might want to bring some things yourself too.
Overall, this might be the greatest animal park I have ever been to, and I can only recommend it. It is a wonderful, unforgettable experience and I had a really good time. The visit is definitely worth it.

Great spacious zoo/safari park which is ideal for a long walk. Plus side is that when you are tired of walking you can take the safari bus or boat back close to the entrance. Parking is not cheap, but also not overly expensive. Food is decent and on par with gas station prices. Park has a good variety of animals and is pretty well accessable.

Wonderful place, and a magical experience for the kids. We spent four days here and could have stayed longer. We opted to stay in a house on the edge of one of the animal enclosures (lodge 411) and woke up each morning to a rhino outside our house! Having not done an African safari I do however think this is the next best thing, especially at half the price.
There is so much to see and do, mixed together with the driving, walking and boat safaris, then you throw in the beach and lake resort and you can easily entertain yourself and the kids for a week or more. When booking our accommodation and tickets, you also get entry into lots of other local attractions, which we didn't even get a chance to do.
I would say the only downside was the food. The restaurants were expensive and there weren't a lot of options. The best one to eat at if you do choose to eat out is at Hogan House, as the buffet was good. However the upside to each of the restaurants are the views of the animals, and the fact they have play parks for the kids (although there isn't really any play equipment for under three). In our lodge you did have a kitchen so you could easily self cater, as there are supermarkets a short drive away from the resort.
I would 100% recommended this place to anyone who loves animals or wants a holiday with a bit of a twist. My only piece of advice would be to avoid trying to see the animals on a really hot day as they all hide in the shade. We did one walk on a scorching hot day and hardly saw any animals then the next day it rained and stormed in the morning, so by the afternoon it was much cooler and they were all out in force!

It is a very nice park. We did a bus safari. The bus driver was so enthusiastic. She told us nice stories about the park, the animals and it was really fun to listen to her. Then we did a preying bird safari. It was also a fascinating show. Those birds were so gracious to see. Besides, we walked through the park. It's beautiful. And animals do look happy there. But the cutest thing was to see the three little elephants. The smallest one was just three days old. Super cute!
People working there are so friendly! We enjoyed this experience.

We stayed at Beekse Bergen in a Giraffe House. The kids loved staying onsite. The park itself is well laid out and spacious. The bus safari was enjoyable, but unfortunately we understood nothing as it was in Dutch (obvs not their fault) but our kids got quite bored as a result. The playgrounds scattered around the park were amazing. There was a great selection of snacks and cafes. All well priced too. We spent a full day there and the kids had a blast. We would highly recommend Beekse Bergen to families with young children.

Jungle safari ride , or walk both are equally interesting . Plenty of parking space. Several food and snack options are available.

We loved the Night Safari. It was beautiful and the prettiest lights we’ve seen. We came right at 5:00 on a Sunday night so it was busy. There are staff directing parking so that’s nice. I recommend coming later after 5:00 so it’s not so congested. When we left around 6:30, it wasn’t crowded at the gate at all. We walked through the whole thing in an hour. There are food and drink booths in the middle of the loop, and there is the Winterplein at the beginning/end with more food and drinks. We had warm waffles and hot dogs (not bratwurst) and it was decent. There were also frites and snacks booths.

An excellent day out. They are renovating the back section at the moment, so the miniature railway ride and freight train simulator experience are both shut, but the rest of the museum was still well worth visiting.
The Steel Monsters exhibit was very well put together.
The day we visited (a weekday in April) was relatively quiet. It was nice that they still put on a train from Utrecht Centraal to the museum even when it isn't overly busy. Great for families!
The kids science sections were a hit, some really thorough explanations on how trains work!

We went to this museum with my 5 year old son at the weekend. Access to the museum is really easy, walking distance from Utrecht Centraal train station. If you are coming by car, it has its own parking lot right in front of it. You can use this car park for 9.50 Euros. Museumkaart is valid. Inside, you can find everything about trains. It is also very fun for children because there are some special activities for them. For example, there is a special little train and dresin for them in the children's playground outside. You can take a journey from the first steam train in the Netherlands to the present day. You can also go 200 years ago with a time machine and visit a Dutch town that existed at that time. We spent about 4 hours and I advise you to spend at least half a day here.

It takes an hour to walk top to bottom. The walk up is broken up into stages of 3 or four stops. The guides are very informative and open to questions. It was in Dutch and English on our trip up. The tower is covered in scaffolding due to restoration work that in due to finish sometime in 2024. Still worth it. 12.50€ per person.

Located in the center of the city and being the landmark of Utrecht and the tallest church tower in the Netherlands are enough reasons to want to visit this great tower. It might be tiring to get on top and a little bit clestophobic but the view of the city i totally worthy of them. The guided tour was great and you learn great information about the history of the city and its changes in time.

Very well preserved medieval construction, with a nice view of Utrecht. Might be difficult to reach the top if you are not used to make exercises.

Utrecht trip is not complete without visiting the tallest church tower in the Netherlands. Even though the work in continuing, it is possible to go to the top of the tower. The panoramic view of Utrecht from there is marvelous. Be ready to walk 450+ steps!!
The tourist information service and the guides are doing an excellent job, they explain the history and the details so well. Hats off to them !!

Had a really nice tour guide show us all the way up the tower - almost 500 steps! From the top of the 112m tall tower you have an excellent view of the city. Make sure to come early so that slots for tours are still available.

Dom Tower is amazing if you love history and architecture! Unfortunately it's under construction but it is still worth a visit! The stairs to the top are a challenge for those not used to waking vertically 😄

I am really looking forward to see the tower finished !!! Meanwhile you can reserve your ticket and go up the tower 👍

The landmark of Utrecht! Can’t wait for the maintenance to be completed in 2024 and for the scaffolding to be removed. Still a beautiful site though and a great climb to the top.
Mathew Love — Google review
Climbed it on the 1st of July. First day it reopened after some time. It was my 4th or 5th time that I climbed it. It’s always a nice experience climbing the stairs of the tower and the explanation that the guide gives on the three different levels where you have a short break before reaching the top. But at the end the main attraction is the view from the top. With the construction still going on the view is limited. Be aware of that! But if your main goal is to learn about the history, see it from the inside and having the experience of climbing to the top then you will not be disappointed.
Heriberto Garcia Ribas — Google review
I visited Dom Tower on a Friday afternoon and took the guided tour of the tower. The tour involves climbing up ~460 stairs to reach the top of the tower along with a tour guide and we stop at 4 stages inside the tower. The stairs get narrower as we climb up and it can feel claustrophobic but the view of the city from the top of the tower is breathtaking! It is an amazing experience to see the giant bells of the tower from close quarters. Kudos to the guide for being so well informed; she gave the tour in both English and Dutch and had the answers to all the questions from the group about the history of the tower.
The only con is that the tower is undergoing restoration work till 2024 so the entire tower is obstructed by scaffolding.

A must visit when you explore Utrecht. Even with the construction which prevent you from going all the way to the top, its worth it.
Beware, you will have to climb up the stairs which could be quite challenging and it one of the most fun tour I’ve gotten. You feel feel accomplished by having climbed the tower.
Also, not expensive and quite the experience!

Magnificent cathedral. We didn't visit the tower. Entrance in the cathedral is free, but you can donate by card or in cash. On our visit there was a classical music concert.

The iconic landmark of Utrecht. Currently it is only possible to enjoy the top of the tower. The full restauration of the tower would be finished in 2025. It is visible from most places in the city and it is the tallest tower of its type in the Netherlands.
Sebastian D'Agostino — Google review
A great guided tour brings you to the very top of this landmark. Unfortunately it was rainy and foggy so the spectacular view was limited. 465 steps, no elevator. Not for the faint-hearted.
Jim Valavanis — Google review
Tour guide was great at explaining the history of the tower.
Do keep in mind that the view at the top was disappointing due to the current scaffolding (which is only coming down in 2024) if you plan on visiting soon.
Jia Wei Lim — Google review
The tower is under construction until spring 2024. If, ahead of the visit, I'd realised that the scaffolding obstructed the view so badly I would have avoided going all the way up the 460+ stairs it takes to get up to the top and came back when it was all removed.
Would have rated 5 stars otherwise.
That being said, the guide was great, very knowledgeable and gave the tour in both English and Dutch. It was great being in the bell tower and being up close to them.
The stairs on the way up get progressively narrow and claustrophobic on way up and can be exhausting so do bear that in mind too before going up.
Tariq Ali — Google review
Tower is under construction, so the view on the top is terrible.
Stairs to the top are very narrow and claustrophobic.
The tickets should have been discounted, since the view is very limited.
You will be able to explore the canals of Utrecht on a pedal boat ride with Stromma Utrecht Canal Tours, which is an authorized tour company. You will have to pay an admission fee, but this is well worth it as you get to see many beautiful sights while riding on the boats. The ride takes about 90 minutes and you can go at your own pace so that you can enjoy the views and atmosphere of this Dutch city.
It's the second time we've tried to swim, we really like it, the biggest route is very beautiful, you can see everything.
Kristina Mačerauskienė — Google review
The guy working here was friendly and realistic, he was appreciated. However , the boats themselves were filthy, felt like they were going to sink and an absolute chore to ride! Felt like we had done a marathon and the allotted time isn’t enough to relax, you have to pedal the whole time. No clear signage as to the right canal you’re on.
Caïna Verrin — Google review
Nice service with a fair price! The boats however are very uncomfortable and they don't move that efficiently given the power used. It will absolutely take you the 2h they say, so don't think you can go super fast and finish sooner, especially in a sunny day. The view that boat offers is quite unique, especially the first part. In case you are short, you can use your backpack as an extension on the seat to be more comfortable, my girlfriend liked it.

Probably the most beautiful activity you can do when visiting Utrecht. Check their opening hours before you go. They are open April, May, June, September and October from Wednesday until Sunday 10h00-18h00. Daily in July and August. Closed November, December, January and February. This way you are never disappointed...

Really fun way to see the beauty of the canals! Would've preferred to have a short cut route option in case someone wants to end it early, as the usual route is 1.5 hrs

Went to Utrecht for a day out of Amsterdam. As a group of four we almost skipped this canal tour booth until one of us pointed it out.
We each had to then pay an admission fee, but once that was done we were to hop onto a four man pedal boat and explore the canals of this Dutch city.
We were completely blown away with the views and overall friendly atmosphere of the city. The ride takes about 90 minutes but you get to see so much at your own pace and have a fun time doing it.

Super fun and cheap way to see the city from the water! It was only about 9 euro per person for an hours time (which was plenty).
Allison Ehrhart — Google review
Very easy and nice way to see the canals in Utrecht. Yes you must pedal yourself but for us this was way better than sitting on a boat packed with other tourists! And cost effective with different canal choices you can make yourself.
So easy to book and pick up your boat as well.

Reservation was from the website. Three routes; red - the longest, yellow - 1.5 h, blue - the shortest. It was worth seeing Utrecht from this side 😉
Disney-like theme park with attractions including wooden roller coasters and water fountains, light show and fairytale-themed rides.
We have visited the location more of curiosity due to the fact we are not very much into amusement parks. But we had lots of fun in various places, from Max&Moritz to Baron... 😂. In the end we had a great day, full of everything. We'll return here gladly!
What I liked the most it was the fact that each attraction had a story behind and it was completely integrated in the park. Suitable for small kids or big kids just like myself turning 49 next month 😂

Loved it. We had a lovely day. Especially good for families with smaller kids. Nevertheless, there are great roller-coasters for older kids and adults. The distances in the park are quite long but everything is good connected, there is a steam train going around which stops at different locations. Toilets are everywhere, same as food places. Highly recommend it!

A fantastic Theme Park for a family day out. Well organized and run. Can be busy but the app helps you monitor the queue times. Plenty to do and see in the park. Bring a little lunch and enjoy the gondola ride on the lake. Overall had a great day out here. Barron and Python were excellent 👌

Very nice for 3 days with 2 kids. Queues were between 20 and 50 minutes a bit everywhere. Understandable for a weekend. Rides are diverse enough for any tastes and family composition. We loved the early entry for the hotel guests. We could enjoy the busy rides like this.

The place is well organized with multiple areas listed in a map. I highly recommend downloading the EFTELING APP which contains; live map, waiting time for each ride, restaurants, shops and everything you need to now about the park. Also you can download the photos from each ride. Kids will have more fun there because they have plenty of rides suitable for them. I loved every details there. Don’t miss out the Magical garden inside the park!

Super. Great park, with lots see and do. Would 100% recommend! Went with family of 4 people, 2 adults, 8yr old and 12 year old and all had a great time.
Ice skating was a lovely extra and very reasonably priced (2.5euro per person) Because we visited midweek in December (tuesday) there was pretty much no queues to get on any ride. Loved the atmosphere and it wasn't too far to walk anywhere to any of the rides or attractions. Attention to detail is great and the theme is carried throughout the park, really did feel like you were in a magical elf land.

In one word "mesmerizing experience"
Efteling has everything which you need for a relaxing and fun experience.
It has everything which you think of an amusement park. Started from rollercoasters, live shows, thrilling and theme based rides.
But, what I liked the most is the relaxing environment. It's not too busy and you feel like you are transported to a different world, where you can do a relaxing boat ride, listen and live the old Dutch stories ( My 6 years old son loved it ).
There are lots of eating places and everything is theme based.
We stayed at the Efteling facility, and it was amazing !
A few things to remember before planning your visit: if you are planning a day trip then create your itinerary prior to your visit. Download the Efteling app it has everything you know about the part.
If you are fun loving and want to do the rides then, try to come at 10 am ( when the park opens ) so you will have less waiting. Lots of indoor rides so the rain will not ruin your plan. And don't miss the live shows.
I stayed for a day so we were able to do most of the activities.
Overall a very nice stay and experience. We will visit again.

Was here back in 2019 on a school trip. Amazing theme park work plenty of rides for anyone who loves coasters. The atmosphere was great too and the music playing throughout the park added to the experience. Food was good and staff were friendly. It was pricey and queues were long but it was worth it! Definitely will return if I get the chance and I do recommend.

Really sweet and beautiful family park. The park does definitely have some larger rides (including Baron which was disappointingly closed both days we were there) but ultimately I think it's an ideal park for families. The number of ride and experiences that are perfectly catered to 8-13 year olds is just staggering, and easily as impressive as bigger parks like Disneyland Paris. The bigger rides are also really good and the food and drink offerings are some of the best value for any theme park I've ever visited.

Loved this place. First stop for our holiday to the Netherlands. We stayed in the hotel so could take our time going through the park. The wait times for the rides are generally 20 minutes. Far quicker than any theme park in the UK. Also the food and drink seem quite reasonably priced. Would recommend the Caro show if you get a chance to watch. Would go back again definitely! The app is also a must for directions and also giving you alerts for wait times for the rides.

The garden was wonderful and each section was more beautiful than the other. We spent a whole day in the garden and did not play all the games and see all the sections. I think the garden is enough for two days. There are also free offers throughout the day, many restaurants and gift shops, and also simple games for younger children, the place is organized It is tidy and clean, and each game has a different story. It is true that the queues are long, but everything is organized. Also, the workers there are nice and cooperative. I recommend it to everyone, and of course I will go again

An amusement park mainly for children, and a few roller coasters for adults, especially the scary Baron.
A wonderful talking tree that fascinates.
A city that is in panorama and with small details of life and trains.
And you should definitely stay in the evening for the musical fountain performance! It's magically aesthetic.

Nice place if you don’t want to go to Disneyland. This is like the mini Disney in NL if that makes sense. Going there when it is very cold is probably a bad idea though it is more beautiful when it has a winter vibe but maybe not wise.

Experience the magic at Efteling! We’ve seen so many videos of this amusement park and we finally made it there to visit. The tickets are so affordable and the park is stunning! Tons of attractions and rides for all ages, games, food and shopping!
This is one of the best parks you will experience for the price. Low key, chill and relaxing environment. I prefer this park over Dis—- because it’s so much more enjoyable and less people!
My favorite ride was the farting one. Hilarious and so creative. Can’t wait to visit there again soon. It’s great for all ages and even has playgrounds for the little ones.
Don’t forget to grab some pancakes while you’re there!! The pancake restaurant was the coolest!!
Purchase tickets online in advance and pay for parking right away. So simple to get in the park and same when you are leaving.

The place is awesome, so many rides and so thrilling fun. The only drawback was that when we were there, 3 main rides were closed. That’s why I took 1 star off. Always check the rides status before you plan your trip. We went in a weekday in March, the weather was good and the rides were not so busy. The fire and water show in the main lake at the end 18:00 was awesome as well. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. The best thing was that they would take care of my daughter who was too small to sit on bigger rides while I was enjoying the rides. :) the Fairly takes rides were so nice my daughter and I loved that the most. :)
Will visit again when all rides are open. Always keep in mind that you need at least the entire day for the park.

A lot of similarities to Disneyland except the themes are different. Very detailed and the atmosphere is great. Queues waiting times were way too long for a week day though, could get to 1+ hours on the bigger coasters.

An amazing weekend spent here! We stayed in a wonderful woodland cottage in the village of Bosrijk, which was only a 10 minute walk to the park. Staying on site allowed us early entry into the park each day, which meant we were able to tick off some of the bigger rides before the ques got too long. However across the whole weekend we were there the longest wait time was only 40 minutes.
There is so much to do, and the kids loved it, ours range in age from 10 to 2 and they all were entertained the whole time. You can add on a photo pass which means you get all of your ride photos and any meet and greet pics across the time you are there.
Food wise, there are lots of fast food snacks and treats and some restaurants even have special treats for the kids, such as games, plates and glasses you can take home with you.
We loved it so much we are thinking about going back at Christmas.

Very satisfying!
Not the DISNEY style,
but the mood lasts no less than its.
You can see lots of details in all aspects,
and you may not like them all but they all maters!
From their website, APP(IT’S BRILLIANT), the design of all the attractions, to the activities from on-line to on-site, they are just amazing.
The history and the importance in the Dutch people are no need to be mentioned any more.
Everyone should come and experience this amazing place! It’s the old story but in an easygoing-yet-not-boring-at-all style.
Michael Wu — Google review
It was such a lovely experience & even if you booked tickets for a full day, you’re unable to see all their attractions!
Two downsides would be the very long cues & nearly hour of waiting for the rides plus when buying hotdogs or food they don’t use gloves & hair caps which is unhygienic.
Alexandra Beliciu — Google review
Amazing family day out. Great mix of rides for all ages. Reasonably priced snack stands with delicious waffles, hot donuts, french fries etc. Download the app before you go, add rides to your favourites list and check out wait times. 10/10 for families. We can't wait to go back!

I’ve been to the Efteling on and off again in the past 5 years. With our most recent visit, it’s time to put it all down in a few words!
The Efteling is truly a magical place where you can spend hours without even noticing. It’s fun for the entire family: kids, teens and adults. The attractions are thrilling (like the Baron) and expertly themed (like droomvlucht). If you are thinking of visiting (which I highly recommend) make sure to check a few things:
- if you visit with younger children, take your time. Two days instead of a single day will allow you to go through the park at your own pace. Make sure to book a lodging at one of their resorts!
- try to visit on less busy days! Their website has great information on when the less busy days will be
- don’t forget to look at their website to find which rides are open and which aren’t! Don’t be surprised when you arrive, as some attractions undergo maintenance during the less busy months (mostly in the winter and spring)
Have fun!

Loved this place, we spent two days here and stayed at a euro park camping site 10 minutes drive away. Lots to see and do, definitely need a few days. I would recommend using the app to get around as it's a big place, lots of rides my 5 year old could go on and loads of eateries and toilets scattered about.
I would go to the big restaurant towards the top end of the park for lunch as it has a wide choice of meals. There was a really chilled out boat ride for when you need a break and the ques are fairly quick.
Obviously the large rides have bigger ques, the Barron roller coaster had a 45 minute wait but that was the longest and we were there during the Easter half term.
Parking was very easy and a very short wait to get into the park. All in all it was really easy, stress free and fun. The only thing I would say is that a lot of the shows and dialogue on rides is only in Dutch so you can miss some of the information but honestly I hardly noticed.
I would definitely come back here. Also don't miss the water fountain show at the end of the day.
Just a small warning but also look out for the road dividers on the road running alongside the park when you drive in, one of them was poking out which we hit and gave us a flat tyre.

The Efteling is consistently enjoyable, regardless of crowd size or closures. During my recent visit, construction was underway on the parking lot, entrance, several attractions, and a new hotel. While these constructions detracted from the visual appeal and somewhat dampened the atmosphere, I still had a fantastic time. The park's charm persists, especially in the smaller fairy tales. I highly recommend visiting the Efteling, as I have always done and will continue to do so.

Very nice amusement park for everyone from kids to thrill seeking teens to adults. Very busy on weekends or holidays so plan well in advance and avoid busy days for smaller wait time on attractions. We went on a middle of a week on a rainy day yet wait times for the big coasters were 10-15min so imagine the case on a summer day. Lots of restaurants inside and food is not too expensive. We enjoyed our meal at the La Place Buffet. The end was very nice coz of an amazing fountain show.

Fantastic theme park, fairy take theme with a nice mix of rides from extreme to super-mild, and animations. Price fair, lower than most, incl done places with far less. Queues low to reasonable (no fast track option but many rides have sole-rider queues), only one ride bad all day. Only food could be better, though less rubbish than most theme parks (and it’s almost all tasty). Could use more coffee availability. Especially recommend the fairy dreamhouse, what they call the “madhouse”, the light show and the beautifully restored ancient carousel. Staff friendly and helpful.

Absolutely fantastic theme park. The entire park is extremely well maintained, very clean and so much to see. There’s something going on everywhere you look.
Rides are not as extreme as at places like Alton Towers but the park in general is far superior.

What an amazing experience!! Best 8 hours I’ve spent at sub-zero temperatures in my life. Could easily have stayed longer. The rides were great and all the themed displays inspiring. I can well imagine that it can get quite full when it’s warmer, but we did not have any queues on the day.
Johan Cruijff ArenA is a 55,000-seater stadium in Amsterdam that was completed in 1996. The stadium includes a few innovations like a fully retractable roof and is home to AFC Ajax, also hosting international matches by the Dutch national team.
Amazing stadium home to Ajax! Probably the best team in the Dutch league too. Would recommend going and taking the tour. You take the tour at your own pace and there are plenty of places to take great pictures. Be careful going on Sundays as the Fan/ Club shop will NOT be open.

My son and I had an unforgettable VIP tour at the Ajax stadium last Sunday. Our host was absolutely phenomenal, infusing each moment with palpable passion and enthusiasm for Ajax, which made the experience feel exceptionally personal. The stadium itself was impressive, and we had the unique opportunity to explore areas typically off-limits, including the commentary box—a delightful bonus not included in the standard tour. Additionally, the value for money was extraordinary; not only did we receive a high-quality Ajax scarf, but we were also treated to a complimentary drink at a bar with a fantastic view of the pitch. This experience has not only provided us with lasting memories but has also turned us into lifelong Ajax fans.

Quite good for huge arena concerts. Quite good access to food, beverages and toilets. I didn't see lockers, which makes this locations uncomfortable (as well as their size). Food and drink prices are similar to other venues.

Home of Ajax, the best soccer team in the Netherlands. Coming here was a very new and unique experience. The energy from this stadium was amazing. I am not a fan, but, I wanted to come here just to see what it's all about. I'm glad I did, because I finally understand what it's all about. It about cheering your team the loudest, to let everyone know, that your team is the best. So, there to have it, I came here for the experience and left with some cool memories. Additionally, the area surrounding the stadium is a mess and compared to sporting events in the US, this place was not family-friendly. But who cares?

Spacious and Inviting Stadium with Efficient Amenities
I frequently visit this large and stunning stadium, and my experience has always been extremely positive. With a capacity of 55,885 seats, the stadium offers ample space for a large audience.
The atmosphere within the stadium is excellent, contributing to the sports experience during exciting matches. Additionally, the stadium is easily accessible, both by car and public transportation. The proximity of buses and trains makes traveling to the stadium effortless.
Regarding facilities around the stadium, there is ample parking available, which is convenient for visitors arriving by car. Overall, this stadium provides a pleasant and well-organized environment for sports enthusiasts.
A notable feature is the retractable roof, allowing for comfortable conditions for spectators in inclement weather. The recent 2018 renovation on the east side of the stadium has enhanced its overall appearance and functionality.
A positive development is the digitization in catering, reducing waiting times. However, it is advisable to install more toilets to prevent long queues.

The cleanest, most well organized, service oriented stadium I’ve ever been in. Everyone in North America who runs facilities like this should visit and pay very close attention to everything that they do here, from serving beverages to how they manage fans in and out of the stadium. During our visit to Amsterdam, my boyfriend (an avid football fan) insisted we take a tour of the infamous stadium. We booked a self guided tour, which gives unlimited time in certain areas while the arena is not in use. There are a couple of different tours, however for 12 Euro, I must admit that going thru the tunnel and landing on the pitch brought a tear to my eye. In my 42-years on this earth, I was amazed by man's ability to build and create. The tour package included the museum, press room, pitch, tunnel, dressing room, recovery room, the restroom/ice bath room. Reminder there is no time limit, which is the coolest thing, and you MUST check out their gift shop store, filled to the brim with sports paraphernalia. Two giant thumbs up, and Holland should be proud of their vision.

One of the historical football clubs in the world, the Johan Cruyff Arena is where AFC Ajax has made history. For €20, I was able to go on a tour inside the arena. The pitch was in perfect condition, with well-maintained grass and very comfortable seating. I could sense that on matchdays or when the team plays, the stadium would be filled with excitement and an electrifying atmosphere.
The tour took us through the home dressing room and the press conference room. It concluded with a visit to a small museum where trophies, historical kits, and the overall history of Ajax were explained. Additionally, you could purchase Ajax merchandise at the shop. It was a fascinating experience delving into the rich history of this iconic football club.

The Large Church Breda, also known as Our Dear Mother Church, is a Catholic church that was built between 1410 and 1547 in the Latin cross-plan style. The church's ornate tower-spire, which was completed in 1509, is considered one of the most beautiful in the Netherlands. It stands at a height of 97m and remains an iconic symbol of old Breda.
FULL 360 degree view of Breda! I visited on a Wednesday and it was with only a few other people. You can visit the tower and see the bells for 5 euros if you are a student. Definitely recommend!

A wonderful church with amazing history.
The staff were really helpful and friendly and provided us with audio guides so we could learn any the history.
We really enjoyed it.

This absolutely astonishing medieval church is still in use as a church. Lots of people are married in there. When I was there the church was closed for visitors. Probably because there was a wedding. I would have loved to see one of their exhibitions or climb the tower. Maybe next time.
Josina Hillsland — Google review
The biggest and most interesting sight in Breda! The church is huge and sometimes it is light up in the evening. Also, the busiest streets and bars are located around it. It marks the centre of Breda and it is a must-see sight.

The Gothic-style Grote Kerk (Great Church) in Breda is a true architectural marvel that transports visitors to a bygone era. This 15th-century church, adorned with an imposing 97-meter tower, is a proud testament to the city's rich history and artistic heritage.
As you step inside, the church's intricate stained glass windows, vaulted ceilings, and mesmerizing frescoes capture your attention. The delicate balance between light and shadow, coupled with the choir's hauntingly beautiful melodies, create a serene atmosphere that envelops you in its embrace.
One of the church's main attractions is the exquisite Prince's Chapel, a breathtaking example of Dutch Renaissance art. The ornate tombs of the House of Nassau are another must-see, showcasing Breda's historical significance.
In summary, the Grote Kerk of Breda is a Gothic masterpiece that should not be missed. Its captivating architecture, rich history, and peaceful ambiance make it an unforgettable experience.

Beautiful Cathedral, very worth seeing. The entry is free but I do recommend booking in advance a guided tour to the bell tower for 7.50€ Very worth it and you get great views of the city from above! The guide is very knowledgeable and friendly

You can visit the church for free.
The tower is 7.5EUR/person and it’s only for max 16 people at once. It’s a guided tour (in Dutch ) and you can go at 14:00 or 15:00.
Tickets are available on site ( you have to scan them before the tour) or online .

A church in the heart of Breda, it shows remarkable architecture with sealing paintings which are heavenly, and makes you forget about the world outside these holy walls... really a must see while visiting Breda

I’ve been there on weekends when had some festival. It was very nice city and the church is in the center area but little bit sad we couldn’t get in because of the renovated. But it look beautiful from outside.
Helpful staff. We paid €6 for a super autumn treasure hunt (in Dutch) which engaged my 8-year old and gave us all a nice walk.

Boswinkel was lovely as usual. Very friendly staff. Fun and interesting activities for 4-7. We spent an hour here last time. Lovely mounted birds and animals. The interactive stations are interesting. My kids love the boat and the shovels.
Attended for an Easter egg hunt, but it was moved inside due to rain... it wasn't really big enough for all the kids and eggs were all found within minutes! Staff made the best of it and everyone went home with chocolate.

Keukenhof, also known as the Garden of Europe, is a vast 19th-century park which opens annually from mid-March to mid-May. It displays a breathtaking array of Dutch spring flowers and boasts around 7 million flower bulbs planted each year. Located in Lisse, it is one of the world's largest flower gardens and attracts approximately 1.4 million visitors during its eight-week season.
Beautiful gardens perfectly manicured lawns with great floral beds such vibrancy of colours and the smell is magnificent as you walk round is so intense, the restaurant's are very clean and staffed well and incredibly helpful, the lavatories are very clean and well maintained. The pavilions are well laid out and a festival for the eyes. Definitely worth coming a glorious day out.

Beautiful place! A sea of flower colors! 😍🌷🌱🌸 It's worth seeing! The park is large, with many beautiful locations. Lots of places to eat, playground, mini zoo, goats, sheep..🐑🐐🐇🐔🦆 Souvenir shops. We had a wonderful day, count on walking for 3-4.5 hours to see everything. 😁

Words are not enough to explain the beauty of this place. Also beauty of this place can't be captured in photos or videos. We just have to feel it. It is a beautiful Tulip garden in keukenhof which is opened only for certain period of time in between March to May. It was our pleasure to visit Netherlands exactly during this time and had a chance to visit Tulip garden. Well spent a day in this garden, lot of Tulips, picturesque places, high points for, kids play area, photography spots, what not, I feel minimum stay of 5-6 hours is required to feel the joy of this place

Go early to beat the crowds, and you will have a truly wonderful experience.
We found the gardens simply breathtaking. Every direction you turn is another picture-perfect view. The smell was phenomenal. The shop was lovely and not too expensive. Worth the visit.

Wow, wow, wow. We spent six hours here, trying to do it all. There was a surprise after surprise and there were so many awesome photo opportunities. There were indoor gardens with beautiful artwork, a maze to a tower, petting zoo, boats, windmill that we could go in, great food, lots of shops, and so much more. So much beauty all around and although it was so packed, we really enjoyed our time there. Expected to spend 2-3 hours, but were there foe 6!

Such an amazing place. Displays the beauty of God's creation. Spectacular array of tulips and orchids. The colours are amazing. The place has many places to sit and just enjoy the scenery. Cafes and food trucks are located at various locations. There's also a playground for kids.

Our visit to Keukenhof Gardens was an absolute delight! We dedicated an entire day to exploring the meticulously landscaped gardens, which were a feast for the eyes with their breathtaking displays of tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths. The vibrant colors and fragrant blooms created an enchanting atmosphere.
In addition to the captivating beauty of Keukenhof, our stay in Lisse provided the perfect base for further exploration. Venturing beyond the gardens, we discovered an expansive canvas of tulip fields stretching over a 50-mile radius. Renting bicycles allowed us to immerse ourselves in this sea of colors, making each day an adventure filled with natural wonders.
The combination of our time at Keukenhof Gardens and the surrounding tulip fields made for a truly magical and memorable experience.
After visiting Lisse a few times now, I can suggest best time to be here is between mid April and mid May.

There are no words that can describe how beautiful this place is💚 gorgeous and colorful flowers, they smell amazing too, I felt like I was in the secret garden, the more I wandered there , the more I discovered new and beautiful scenes of flowers and waterfalls.
Make sure to check the weather, because the weather was awful when I visited it (end of April)

Amazing park, beautiful even with cloudy skies or under the pouring rain (and there some indoor attractions here!)
Thousands of sorts of tulips, all incredibly diverse and beautiful. Themed installations.
Plan to spend several hours here, as there are so many beautiful spots.
Several fast-food options.

Went here early April and the flowers weren’t fully bloomed yet. This place is lovely but it can be packed quite well. The place is nice and big and provides a great work. Worth €15 per person just to relax and do tulip sight seeing.

Some really beautiful displays of thousands of tulips plus other bulbs and complimentary plantings. We booked a time slot awhile ago and recommendations were to go early to avoid the crowds but this is misleading as there were a lot of people booked in at the opening and many bus tours. Just keep in mind this is an event more than a traditional garden visit and you won't stress about the crowd. It was still a peaceful atmosphere and really lovely.

We had the opportunity to visit and wow was it busy! The lines to get in were very long but moved quickly. Great washrooms and nice maps to follow on your self guided tour. Take your time and enjoy. The gardens are beautiful and immaculate. I had no idea how many varieties of tulips there were until the day I visited. So interesting. GO HERE and enjoy. Try the Friet Bus in the parking lot! Great fries!

We visited this wonderful park on May 4, 2023. Tickets were bought in advance online, there was a huge queue at the entrance (they pass quickly). They took a map for free at the entrance, it helped us to navigate. The territory is very large, the legs got tired, they rested on benches or cafes. For children there is a large playground + mini zoo. Gorgeous park with lots of different colors. We went to exhibitions with flower arrangements according to the season. Lots of beautiful photo locations. Mill overlooking the tulip fields. We arrived at lunchtime and left at closing time. You can bring food and a picnic blanket with you. I advise everyone to visit this wonderful place and more than once!❤️

An amazing experience. I was there in May 2023. The tulip fields are simply amazing, even despite the crowds of people. Lots of charming paths between blooming tulips, daffodils and other flowers.

Arrived early, and did a full circuit of the gardens. The colors and arrangements are spectacular. There are lookout spots around the gardens where you can see the farmer tulip fields all around. It's a very beautiful and peaceful place. Also saw an old automated organ playing a full brass band. Was very entertaining. Highly recommend a visit during Spring.

Amazing. We have visited twice. We visited end of March the first time and the flowers were starting to bloom. The second time, we came end of April and 97% were in bloom. Both visits were fantastic. Lovely to stroll and wander around at your own pace. So picturesque. Plenty of shops to buy souvenirs and some bulbs. Would highly recommend to others.
Chloe Galvin — Google review
Impressive collection and presentation of tulips. The area is very large, you can easily spend a day. Try to book an early slot, as it gets very crowded.
Plenty of food options available throughout the park; playground, petting zoo and a maze will delight kids.

Fantastic natural park for those who like nature and especially tulips. Many and varied colors. We liked a lot. All logistics, transport from the airport, purchasing tickets online are very easy. As it is only open for a little over a month, you can expect a lot of people, but it's enough for everyone.

Wonderful gardens with an incredible display of spring bulbs. Tulip extravaganza! Crowded even at 10am on a Saturday in mid-April, extremely crowded by noon. Will definitely visit again next year, although will try midweek rather than a weekend. Photos below don't do justice to the 6+ million bulbs they plant each year!

This is a must visit during tulip season. It is large but you can just wander around and you’ll be amazed at every turn. They do have very informative tours as well. Public transport there and back is simple. Buy tickets ahead if you can but otherwise they are available when you arrive.
The Erasmus Bridge is a famous, 800-meter long suspension bridge that spans the River Nieuwe Maas in Rotterdam. Designed by Ben van Berkel, the bridge is often used as a symbol of Rotterdam and has been nicknamed The Swan.
Nice place for taking photos next to a huge constructed bridge. The most amazing is the view of ships and boats passing through the river. It is one of the largest ports in Europe. Actually it has captured me than Hamburg port in Germany. The skyline is also breathtaking. You take a brunch near the coastline and enjoy the view. However, it is a bot cold at night so take a jacket.

It's a very beautiful bridge specially at the time of sunset when the sun shines on it from one side. Watch the boats and merchant ships pass under the bridge, watch the giant cruise ship that's parked just near the bridge are some of the activities you could do to spend time on it.

The best sunset spot in Rotterdam. You can’t go wrong with some snacks and a beer. Walk along the waters edge and take in a little bit of nature inbetween the urban landscape that surrounds you. Truly a magnificent architectural structure to admire.

Beautiful at sunset!!! (around 9.00 - 9.30 PM, check the time beforehand)
On my walk along the bridge in the evening, I enjoyed the pleasant breeze and the great views of cruise ships and modern buildings all along the way. Both ends of the bridge have shops and restaurants, as well as some water activities. The water and buildings turned golden at sunset.

The main city bridge over de Nieuwe Waterweg, the main water dividing Rotterdam in South and North.
If you can, walk or cycle over it. And stop to enjoy a good sniff of the city.
Markthal is an intriguing, futuristic-looking building with a large, covered market hall inside. The building is located close to the Blaak train and metro station, making it a convenient place to shop or eat.
The Holiday Inn Express Rotterdam - Central Station is located in a central area of the city, making it easy to get around. It also offers a lobby bar and free breakfast.
We found this hotel to be clean, comfortable, friendly, and a great value. Twin beds were comfortable. Shower was great. We were able to store our luggage in a locked room for later pickup after we checked out.
Location near train station, restaurants, and other attractions is very convenient. Breakfast is a little light on protein, but otherwise good quality.

Top notch service. The heaters were fantastic, I’d just come from a Hampton by Hilton in Amsterdam and the rooms were freezing. Thankfully the temperature control was marvellous.
Nice view of Rotterdam city from window.
As I frequently travel more and more, the smaller things like storage; where to pop your suitcase becomes increasingly important. The window sills hold your luggage and goods whilst the table can be left free for your laptop / other belongings.
I really appreciated that at this hotel as you can see from the pictures. And because I went when it was very cold the window sills acted as a fridge for the milk I’d purchased! And it worked well.
Breakfast: served at a very tight and congested area, not the best selection. However the yoghurt was surprisingly good.
Some beans would go a long way.
Recommendation to the hotel: give some slippers will ya!

Honestly, this hotel has the features to give it a really high rating. Great location, good rooms (maybe a tad small) but I booked a quite basic one. The staff is well prepared and helpfull. I arrived at a busy time so I did wait around 6 or 7 minutes, but that's very expectable around 18:00 in a hotel. Parking was good too.
The breakfast was a bit different, I had to pick a time slot but my preferred one was not available. They gave me a bag that I could fill at the breakfast buffet. I got what I wanted for breakfast but a little different. All good

Stayed here for 2 nights. The reception staff and General manager made me feel welcomed. After coming off a flight from the US at 9am they allowed me early-check in (subject to availability of course).
The Location is great, only about 2-3 blocks from Central Station and an easy walk. You're right outside a tram station as well, to get around Rotterdam. I would just walk to most of the places nearby as nothing I really wanted to see was more than a 15 minute walk.
Room was simple but well appointed. It did not have a mini-fridge or iron. Usually these Express hotels are for business travelers who might need to iron a shirt. The Air condition worked well although you could open the window if needed.
Breakfast had plenty of seating. The spread was simple and standard for a continental breakfast in Europe. It had sliced deli meats, 2 cheeses, croissants and toast, a couple of cereals, and warm hard boiled eggs. I really wish they had a better hot section instead of warmed eggs I'm happy. There was only 1 coffee machine and the line would get long at times.
Overall I would recommend staying here because of the location and really great value. It has public transportation nearby, and all the staff I interacted with were really amazing. They had staff speaking Dutch, English, French, and Spanish, and probably more. They had a private room to store luggage in case you wanted to explore the city before or after check-in.

I was staying ,Holiday Inn Express Rotterdam - Central Station, for 3 months for job Purpose , My room number was 442
I had the worst experience ever in my entire life , No safety no security No respect for guest items
1, someone stole my laptop all IDS from breakfast Table even managements from hotel don't care about the incident even don't sorry or looked the CCTV footage because maybe Hotel staff related this, also they knew me cause i am staying long time
2.Reception service was very rude and unprofessional specially the supervisor and team leader, every time i went and get a stupid lame excuse i don't know come tomorrow or call managements
3.managements service is very bad ,My rooms landline was not working from beginning i made 4 times complain and report to manager also but no one even came to checked
4.Housekeeping service also was bad every time they clean the room but cleaning lady used to lefts some dirty rags ,bins in the rooms and have to call them again to remove
5. There was no safety and no security so how peoples from outside came and took your staff and no one know who came who lefts
All together i had no choice to change Hotel because my company had contact with Holiday INN that's why i was not able to changes
Please be careful everyone before book this hotel for safety and security its 0000 Hostel is more secure than this Hotel
Managements and Netherlands Authority should get rid of that's kind stupid service

One of the most limited low cost hotels I have stayed in the last years. The positive aspects are the size of the room and bathroom (comparing to other facilities of the hotel), and some of the staff that try their best (not all, some were very unfriendly).
The breakfast is extremely limited in terms of items and their quality (even the peanut butter of very low quality), no cheese spread, gluten-free just a simple granola, etc.
The room is very empty, no minibar. The hotel has nothing besides rooms, and a very squished reception with some food/drinks to pick and pay next to it and the breakfast place. In the same trip we have stayed some days at the Marriott, just 2-3 blocks from the Hollyday Inn, and price not too higher, but the Marriott was so much better.
At the end of my staying, and additional surprise was that they announced that they needed to charge me an extra because the fully prepaid reservation did not cover their full prince (I had neve seen that before).
If you arrive before 3pm, expect long waiting time to start checking in just after 3pm.
Thus, I recommend to look for other hotels in Rotterdam.

I went to this hotel for the second time, and again everything was very nice. Last time was in lockdown time a year ago, the room was not cleaned then you had to order what you wanted for breakfast the day before. Now the breakfast buffet was open again, and there were not really and regulations anymore luckily. The room was clean and spacious.

Rooms are comfortable, but I had my room but dirty - shower supposed to be cleaner, air vent in bathroom had a an inch of mold inside, I did not have any shower gel and shampoo in room. After 9 nights for sure I will not visit this hotel again. In my humble opinion this is a not a 4 star hotel.

Cleanliness in general very good, unfortunately, as you can see in the photo, there were blood stains on the
Bed. I obviously put them open, because it may be that they have been overlooked. But the good cleaning staff simply covered it again and ignored it.
Really recommended for a short stay of 1-3 days, everything about it is a disaster. Breakfast, the same every day, air conditioning (as the windows cannot be opened) does not run very well and cools or heats the room very little. The view is also not exactly the best but the location is very good Central, all in all bearable but about the cleanliness, toilet brushes on the toilets or let alone a cupboard in the room would be really desirable

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night. The best thing about it is the location. It is close to almost everything in Rotterdam. However, the rooms are really outdated. The carpet is not clean. There are a lot of things that need to be improved. There isn't much choice in breakfast.
I recommend the hotel if you are staying for 1 night.
2 stars for location and staff.

Using the parking lot is uncomfortable. Whenever I enter the parking lot, the car number is not automatically recognized, or there is no way to tag the hotel key. Also, there are 4 lifts, but 2 of them don't go to the ground floor that is linked to the parking lot. Probably I don't know how to use the services better.

Rooms were quiet, and mattress and shower were serviceable. But there were some issues. The phone was nothing most than a prop or paperweight. I wasn't connected to any system. 0 dial tone. The temperature was fixed and wouldn't go below 19c. I requested an iron (s8nce there were not any in the rooms?) And I got a toy. No steam, it wouldn't heat high enough to function. Breakfast was disappointing, especially since some other locals hotels have a beautiful typical Dutch spread. Housekeeping was a riddle... didn't take out trash. Generally speaking the service was good, but it did seem that some of tue folks would benefit from some training.

We had no housekeeping come into our room across a 3 night stay despite speaking to reception about it. We had to ask for towels, toilet paper and tea/coffee.
We saw housekeeping on our floor but for some reason kept skipping our room. We tried leaving the sign requesting house keeping on the door and we tried not putting it on the door - it made no difference.
Eventually our bin was overflowing with rubbish and there were wet towels everywhere where they'd not been collected.
The location is good and breakfast is OK but limited choice.

I have read abt not so good review and I had to write this to give my experience. I would say my experience was great overall.
Room is good size, I have got the room facing city, mid floor. Though it’s within walking distance from Rotterdam central station, I find that it’s still quiet. Location is great!
Breakfast was with acceptable selection.
One appreciation note - I arrived ahead of checkin time and hotel/staff is nice enough to offer stroopwafel with coffee (perhaps due to IHG membership). Upon completion of the local Netherlands taste, the room was ready for checkin. Staffs were attentive and warm.
One thing to note - hotel room is not equipped with USB port for charging. Guest would need to bring your own power plug.
Overall my experience was great.

Typical Mall with a good assortment of stores with good discounts. Friendly staff and some nice places to recover from shopping. Unfortunately, the Nike store was closed when we were there, the signs said it would open in May. The Adidas store seemed a bit sold out, probably due to the global shortage of goods from Asia…
My favorite was the Petrol store, made some great bargains there 😊

I love the design and layout for this designer outlet. Spacious, clean and comfortable for all patrons, and is family friendly with its playground near the entrance. Would be great if they had a better selection of shops, and Roermond would still be a better option. But if they carry the brands that you are looking for, this place is fairly accessible even via public transport from Rotterdam.

Good one stop shop for all clothing needs at competative pricing. Although, some items are more available online at certain stores than they are in store. Good idea to spend the day here.

Usually a good place to buy my clothes. Easy to access from the highway. Parking usually OK, right next to the center. Not a place to hang around longer than necessary.

It is beautiful and organized but I did not find a great choice in clothes.

The outlet is relatively small and includes mid fashion brands that are affordable to everyone. However, If you’re looking for high end luxurious brands then you should visit Roermond branch.

It’s almost in the outskirt of the Netherlands and wherever you live, it’s probably far from you 😅, highly recommended to get there by car, there are lots of parking lot which you should pay for it but it’s cheap. There are lots of shops with stunning promotion, it’s better to call at there when they have special offers. You can register at their website, so for any purchase over 100€, you get extra 15% off. The variety of options for dining there is quiet low, but I think it’s worth it to visit there 2 times a year to buy from famous brands at a reasonable price.

At beginning, I don’t like this outlet. But now its atmosphere is better and its decorated more beautiful. The Shops are well arranged and the prices are reasonable! Also love the special water facilities for doggies. There are enough free parking place nearby the outlet.

Absolute paradise for shopaholics!
There are 100+ brands to pick from, at unbelievably reasonable prices. The whole place is like a one storey mall, where each store is designed into colorful dutch mini houses.
If you can still resist the urge to go immerse in hopping, you sure can't escape the eateries around the place, fun hangout corners and on a good sunny day, treat yourself to postcard perfect pictures against the aesthetic backgrounds and props!
The Euromast observation tower offers 360 degree views from its top floor suites, including of Rotterdam's harbor. Hotel guests can enjoy a luxurious breakfast in bed here, and take in the sights from a viewing platform by staying in one of the two suites.
Might have been a little silly to go here on the coldest and rainiest day, but was an excellent way to wrap up our time in Rotterdam. The panoramic elevator is a must see to truly take in all the city has to offer, and I really recommend going at night. The lights are incredible! Do be mindful of the outer walks as the floors are made of brick that wiggle and make things a little scary!

Great views, no queues. Quick and easy to do. Nice park at the bottom.
Water taxi stop right beside it.
A bit pricey (€12) for a short experience(1 hour) but worth doing.

Great viewpoint in Rotterdam. A first elevator brings you to the intermediate terrace and for extra 7 €, you can enter the rotating cabin that takes you to the top of the tower. Thrilling!
Bernhard Runkel — Google review
I have vertigo but my date REALLY wanted to go up there. If you have vertigo yo *can* go all the way, just make sure to use the elevator from the observation deck by the restaurant to the lift that takes you to the top, the other option is taking the steps and I barely managed to go up. Still, was lucky enough to get there by sunset and the views are breathtaking. The fact you can choose to block the view on the floor was a nice touch. Amazing place. Loved it.
M “Kelly” Barquero — Google review
Except for the panoramic restaurant and the rooms, where you can stay, Euromast is offering other activities as well. The rotating platform of the tower is giving you an incredible 360 view of Rotterdam. It can be reached by an elevator from the panoramic platforms, which are at 98m. and 112m. hight. The elevator then takes you to a hight of 185m., where you sit and enjoy the view. Actually, when you go on the rotating platform it will rotate 360 degrees twice, so, if you missed something the first time, you have one more chance to see it. There is also rappelling from the lower panoramic platform, which by itself is quite an adrenaline rush. It's worth visiting.

Well worth a visit. Cheap prices for such a wonderful view.
We went when it was a bit windy and overcast but still got to see fantastic views they were breathtaking. Had a few fun photo opportunities.
Inside is the most exquisite restaurant with again fabulous views.
All in all I highly recommend a visit.

Came here for a high tea on the first day they reopened. Service was amazing, our servers were absolutely lovely! ❤️ Food and tea selection were great! 😊 We couldn't access the top tower, but the view was stunning from the lower observation decks.

Pretty cool tower in Rotterdam giving views in all directions. You can see all the city as well as the port. Was good even though it was overcast. Great walk in the park getting there. Nice restaurant as well!

Euromast offers breathtaking panoramic views of Rotterdam that are simply mesmerizing. The best time to visit is during sunset, when the city is bathed in a warm golden glow. The sight is truly unforgettable. The tower provides an unparalleled vantage point to admire the city's skyline and surrounding landscapes. A must-visit for any visitor to Rotterdam.
Euromast is an iconic observation tower located in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Standing at a height of 185 meters, it is one of the tallest structures in the city. Built in 1960, Euromast was originally constructed for the Floriade, a horticultural exhibition. Over the years, it has become a symbol of Rotterdam's modern skyline and a popular tourist attraction. The tower offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy stunning 360-degree views of the city and its surroundings, making it a highlight for both locals and tourists alike.
R D — Google review
The view is amazing but the experience is not well organized. You buy an upgrade ticket for ride to the top and reserve a time, but when you get there you need to wait 45min in a line at the deck in the middle of the tower with a crazy wind
Juli?n Scutari — Google review
Great views of Rotterdam and extra can be paid to go all the way to the top of the spire in a sat down spinning section. There's a glass floor option with this that can be toggled on and off at.your feet if you're not a fan. A good experience but can be very busy with queues. Recommended to book a timeslot before coming and go walk in the park beforehand. You will have to queue for the top lift bit no matter what, no time slot booking for that to walk on.
Lewis Boden — Google review
Great view from the platform. Also great experience in the euroscoop cabin! And even better, if you wanna go to the restaurant, make sure you go when it's getting dark. The city gets beautiful with all the lights!
Anderson Peccin da Silva — Google review
Transmitter mast with an observation deck and restaurant about 100m above ground level. There is an even higher viewing area open in good weather. There are great views of the city which is a 25 minute walk. For tower aficionados this is a low tower and doesn't revolve or anything but they do have abseiling in summer. It does also have a visible wobble in bad weather. For me it's a great place to relax for an afternoon in the restaurant taking in the view. Although I would have to say the restaurant service is not the best. There are also some hotel rooms available apparently.
Jonathan Gorst — Google review
Went up the mast to enjoy the view with my family. A big success to take the elevator to the top and see everything.
Definitely worth the trip so it can only be recommended!
Jakob Henriksen — Google review
Excellent view around beautiful Rotterdam recommended for anyone visiting the city. Buy tickets in advance to scan and head straight in and up the elevator for wonderful panoramic views of Rotterdam.
We bought the Euroscoop ticket for a few extra Euros which was an interesting seated elevator ride all the way up to the top. It doesn't add a significant extra view depending on where you're seated but still worthwhile.
There's also a nice little cafe at the bottom for a coffee at the end of the ride.
Jack — Google review
Great view and very easy to get on top. Unfortunately the upper part of the tower is under renovation so we weren't able to get the full experience.
Nevertheless you have a wonderful view, as well as a restaurant, giftshop, little bar etc...
Elio Davoli — Google review
If you want to show the city and its history to a friend or to anyone, then this place is the best place to visit; you can show them all parts of the city of Rotterdam and they can understand how the city is divided naturally by the water 💦💦
They can take good memorial photos and videos with amazing backgrounds and views.
But,there are few things to consider when you are coming to visit the Euromast, check the weather, because if it's raining or too much wind, you won't enjoy it,and sometimes they will not allow you to go to the top if it's bad weather. Also, if you are visiting between October and April, it might be a little cold, so bring a jacket with you
Enjoy!!

We bought the eruoscoop (you get to go all the way to the top in a glass elevator) it was really nice, we could also stop at the halfway point to look and take pictures before going all the way up. The line to go on the lift went fairly fast and when we left through the gift shop I accidentally left my wallet but once I realized and came back for it, it had already been put away in lost and found! :) very nice staff

Must visit of Netherlands trip. The single moment which captures the essence of river front, speeding boats, greenery, Dutch architecture and the planned roadways...all a single glance with a 360 degree bird view.
When you come down, do not forget to take a lazily walk in the adjacent park.

Something you just have to do when in Rotterdam! Use the app that you can download to learn how it all happened. Take the lift all the way to the top of the spire. It costs extra but it's a good ride you will see 360 covered, no wind swept hair!! Over Rotterdam at 185 metres high, the glass floor can be controlled to keep it white... So you DO not see underneath you. It's all very entertaining and interesting on a good day!!

It have a good view to the city. It’s cheaper if you buy the tickets online. I went to the top of the tower. The elevator(?) to the very top part has floor that turn transparent after you reach the top, there was also a button to turn it back to opaque if you want. That’s so cool!
S C — Google review
I bought ticket at the site and paid 26 euros (till the top 360 view point), (online this is just 19 euros). But I was not informed that the platform has not been rotating for a week, Ideally this should have been informed before purchase of the ticket instead of being told when already inside. It was no fun to see it without rotation, while bumping into people to get the 360 degree view. Or the ticket price should have been discounted.

What goes up must come down. Best view over Rotterdam. And a exciting place for a breakfast. The restaurant is pretty nice and food is ok. Combined with the view a perfect breakfast experience. Before you leave make sure you take the elevator to the top. Avoid rainy days. It’s really worth to enjoy the view on a sunny day.

Great experience within the Euroscoop tower. It gives a seamless 360° rotational view of Rotterdam with a glass floor. The tickets are affordable. It's a must do when you visit Rotterdam.
However, the restaurant is a bit pricey but worth it.

There were only a few people with us when we went on a weeknight, granted, it was unusually cold. The location is a little out of the way from other tourist attractions, but not too far where it’s not walkable. Be sure to check the weather as the views are actually pretty good on a clear night. It was really windy so we had to take shelter a couple of times to warm up.

Amazing views from the top level of the Tower. Though it's good to check weather beforehand, so you don't suffer from extreme wind or rain there. This way you can spend more time there, chill and enjoy the views
This beautiful and historic museum is home to many masterpieces from the Dutch Golden Age, including works by Rembrandt and Vermeer. It's a great place to start learning about Dutch and Flemish art, and it also has a wonderful modern wing.
I usually get bored after more than 2 hours in a museum. This one was perfect: marvelous paintings, it is not so big, just 2 floors, not very crowded, it was a delight. We enjoyed it a lot and somehow it is on 1st place when it comes to museums.

Beautiful gallery space with masterpieces abound — Vermeer, Rembrandt, Hals, and many more — all hung well and the gallery space used to perfection. Staff were nice too which is a lovely added bonus. Spent an hour and a half inside but you could easily spend two hours or more.
Elevators for access and toilets are available too.
Absolutely essential if you are in The Hague.

Very interesting museum where you may see paintings of Vermeer and Rembrandt, including "most famous portrait in the world" - Girl with the Pearl Earning. The museum is not so big, 16 halls, the entree fee is 19 euro. It is better to buy tickets beforehand online. Must see in Den Haag / The Hague.

Very nice 2 floor museum. Easy to tour, and the application was very helpful. So make sure you go with your earphones. App is completely free, and you can also see more images and of course, hear the details and stories of paintings. They also exhibit the pigments that were used to paint The Girl with Pearl Earring. Since it is my special interest, I really liked it.
Okan A?gez — Google review
The paintings on display here are absolutely incredible. They only have the best of the best. This might also have something to do with the actual museum not being very big and them having to consider every inch of space. The result is a very packed experience, but also quite crowded rooms.
They state you Have to book tickets online, which is more convenient probably, but we didn't and still got in.

A very beautiful building in denhaag. It houses some of the most important art in the Netherlands. We were unable to explore the museum as we reached around 5:30 pm. A little before the closing time. But our guide told us it is definitely worth a visit when we are in town next. The building itself is beautiful and is very well located close to the parliament. It houses paintings from the dutch golden age and is also listed in the top 100 Dutch Heritage sites.

Definitely a must see museum while you are in Den Haag, I spent about four hours here. Make sure to take your own headphones so you can scan the QR code and listen to the audio descriptions. Makes it a much more immersive experience. The building's architecture is a marvel in its own right. And of course with so many Dutch Golden Age paintings and artists you've got to take it all in.

Beautiful, but hedge your expectations for a small venue. It's delightfully curated with a sampling of the best Dutch artists. You simply can't go wrong with a cup of coffee followed by a morning stroll through this place.

Excellent art museum with just the right amount of pieces. Not too much or too big where you decide to start rushing through. Even the children enjoyed it as they felt like there was enough variety. One of the best art museums we have ever visited!

Interesting art, the museum itself is quite small you can walk through it all in one to two hours. Beautifully decorated interior and well built art collection. While it houses iconic painting like Girl with a Pearl Earring, it does have a lot of colonizer art.

A must visit art museum in Haag (actually in the Netherlands!) where you can see the masterpiece of Vermeer and Rembrandt.
The museum gets busier and busier so I would highly recommend to go there at 10 am which is the opening time so that you can avoid congestion in the museum.

Had a good time at the Mauritshuis. The building is fantastic looking both from the outside and inside and the location of the building is also a great spot. Have to say that it is quite small and you could probably go through the whole museum in about an hour and a half. The main attraction is probably going to be the girl with the pearl painting but other then that it doesn’t have that many well known paintings, beside some Rembrandts. I guess that makes it a good visit though if you want to learn about new artists. All in all had a good time. Got the say it was quite crowded and loud so don’t except to have a quiet time there.

Beautiful museum full of amazing paintings. It was great to see the original of the girl with the pearl earring. Although it is a bit smaller than I thought it was not disappointing at all. Other than Wermeer, you can also see some Rembrandt paintings as well as other masterpieces. Highly recommended.
It is also worth mentioning that the museum is free of charge for museum card holders.

To be honest, the whole museum itself is just two floors, so I've expected it to be bigger. All the people of course are flocking around the "Girl with a pearl" painting. You can visit the gallery of prince William with the same ticket. That gallery is outside of the building on a different street.

We visited this museum on a Sunday morning. We were the first visitors, it started becoming very crowded later on.
Why I recommend this museum:
1) The building
İt is a beautifully restored ancient 3 stories stone house. Pay attention to the exceptional wooden staircases.
2) Paintings by Johannes Vermeer, of which Girl with a Pearl Earring is the most famous.
3) Works by Rembrandt.
There is also a decent museum shop.

Yes, there she is. “The Girl with the Pearl Earring painted by Johannes Vermeer. The building is stunning too and it was once a home. This is a must see. Book online for tickets and choose your entry time too. I just know that the collection will far exceed your expectations, all seen in this grand home. Enjoy every moment.
The Escher Museum is a gallery in The Hague that displays the works of Dutch graphic artist MC Escher. Unlike most other museums, which feature paintings or sculptures, the Escher Museum focuses exclusively on the drawings and prints of Escher. His work often features intricate designs and bizarre juxtapositions of objects, making it an interesting and unique look at graphic art.
I loved how each room in this beautiful building had amazing chandeliers. The art of Escher is awesome and we were met by very friendly staff. Definitely worth the visit.

Located in a former palace in a leafy part of Den Haag, this museum is dedicated to the works of imaginative artist M C Escher. One of the best art museums in The Netherlands. It is quirky and cool. It costs 11€ to get inside. Bags must be left in the lockers at the basement. There is a cafe in the basement too, and clean toilets. There is an ongoing show by Andy Warhol too. There are some interactive installations on different floors as well. We had no idea who Escher was before visiting the museum. But were pretty happy that we visited. Highly recommend to everyone planning to visit the Hague. Do drop in. It's small but interesting.

Museum where the works of Escher are displayed. There are a lot of metamorphic tiling art, which is quite interesting as it is different than your average art museum. The place was a former palace used by royalty. The museum is quite small and you still need to enter the queue to validate your tickets even if you have bought your tickets online.

Loved this museum and loved the way they told the story of Escher. It was a fun and interesting experience and I would definitely recommend a visit. The location is beautiful and so is the building. Enjoyed the video exhibition quite a bit and the paintings and artworks were also very nice especially if you find the way Escher works an interesting thing. Would recommend the visit, it can be quite crowded though and limited space to move around but it’s worth it nonetheless.

This is a brilliant collection of a large number of Escher prints arranged with contemporary arts works that are inspired by, or similar in style or content to those of Escher.
The building beautifully complements the artworks with its baffling staircases.
There are also information panels discussing the life of the last Queen Regent to use the palace.
Excellent range of postcards in the gift shop too!

Amazing museum, the building was once a Palace now serving as an exhibition for Escher's amazing art works. The setting and lighting of the museum is amazing just as the artworks. Do not forget to go all the way up to see the interactive floor too! The entrance fee is 11 euros for adults, students and children have a lower price. The staff is welcoming and nice too. It was an amazing experience.
The museum is located in a 10-15 minute walk from the Den Haag Centraal Station, really easy walk. Museum has a central location. Ticket office closes at 16.30 so even though the museum is fairly small compared to others, better to enter beforehand.
PS: you might get dizzy a little bit after visit due to all of the optical illusions.

Not long enough! This was a well-designed exhibit that was interesting and informative. The palace as a venue could be better because there were a lot of stairs and some were only one person wide so there was a bottle neck. There were fun displays and an opportunity to take an optical illusion photo. The artwork itself is so cool and detailed. I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting The Hague or even Amsterdam since it is a pretty easy train ride that you can do in a few hours.

Great visit, you can spend 2 hours or more in there easily. Each room is well presented and I found it clever to use more artists for the decor, like the chandeliers, in each room there is one with a different shape. I booked beforehand, but you could go and get the tickets at the desk with no issue. For kids there is a scavenger hunt activity, adults can go for it as well. It is available in English, Dutch, and I think in German.

Even though there wasn’t a queue when we arrived I would still recommend buying tickets before hand as we were able to pretty much walk right in. There’s actually a lot to see in the museum and it provides an account of his history as well as other artists that have been influenced by his works. It took us about two hours to go through all the exhibits. We took our time take everything in so a speed run can be done in about an hour.

They also an interactive section, and work from artists inspired by Escher. The contemporary lamps are very cool too👌 A must for art lovers!

Definitely another museum on the list of 'must see' they have a really great audio guidebook for Esther's artwork and the building it is located in. I found both fascinating and switched between the two audio guidebooks as I moved through each room. So be sure to bring along your own headphones and be prepared to be inspired. It's still worth five stars even though I was there on a Friday with multiple noisy school groups around.

Good museum showing the works of the incredible M.C. Escher. It's also a former royal palace. Good merchandise.
I could not find any kind of ventilation, no ducts and no draught from windows. It smells bad inside. I would be amazed if the legal minimum ventilation is available here, and I would not be amazed if the air is terrible (CO2 ppm in the thousands). So go in at your own risk and/or wear a respirator mask.

Great museum to go with children. They have a scavenger hunt for kids, which makes it interesting for them to discover some nice facts. The top floor was the most interesting for my son. This museum hosts some great printwork pieces from Escher. 3-4 of them are especially amazing. The rest? It’s just “meh”. Museum card is not valid here and entrance fee is 12 eur. If you have one day for Den Haag and would like to visit a museum, go to Mauritshuis instead of Escher in Het Paleis.

Life’s work of MC Escher very well curated exhibition with guided audio tour. Very fascinating to see his Lithography process explained & his art work with such a attention to detail. It was interesting to read about his life and places he lived which also inspired a lot of his work. This theme park is home to miniature models of Dutch landmarks and buildings, as well as daily life scenes. The level of detail in each replica is astonishing, and visitors can enjoy a range of kid-friendly attractions while they're there.
Amazing place. The miniature park is so beautiful. The craftsmanship in every monument is just speechless. The minute details has been given attention and made very fantastically. It looks so real. Overall the experience is good. One should definitely experience flight journey in it. One will get full view of Holland and important places and monuments as part of the country. Children would definitely love it. Tickets prices for children could you have been less compared to adults.

One of the best park I enjoyed after Mini Siyaam. Park is beautiful, well maintained and everything was working. Main thing is it is interactive and more than my kids, I enjoyed a lot 😂. Best thing is Tram (9) station is at the doorstep so no need to walk a lot. Easily accessible place.

My first visit to this place was amazing. It is really a place for everyone. It has something for everyone to try and experience what The Netherlands is about. The one thing I wished this place could have offered is rides for the kids. I left that could make this magical place complete. There were playgrounds for kids. One for the little ones and one for the bigger kids.

Truly amazing place having miniatures of landmarks across entire Netherlands. Each monument has so much detailed work. Must visit and buffer in at-least 3-4 hours to cover the entire attraction. Try the aeroplane ride. There are so many beautiful palaces here in Netherlands - we actually ended up seeing the real monuments after seeing their miniatures here.

Very beautiful place. Extreme amazing to see all the miniature city. Extreme detail was there. Slightly overpriced in my opinion. Fun for kids more than adults

Beautiful and nice place to visit with your friends and family. It's a city architecture in the Netherlands and the architecture is very detail and precise. There are a lot of interactive show that you can try. You can touch some buttons that available for selected building/areas.

It's a very beautiful place. My 4 year old son enjoyed it a lot. The place is very well maintained. I loved the "water Wolf" and the story behind it, the storytelling is amazing for every experience. The "Flying Dutchman" is amazing !
Overall it is an amazing experience for us and we will visit it again !!!

Very educational place to visit.
Everything there is artistically well made.
I think the entrance fee should be cheaper. Other than that, it is worth to visit and bring the kids to learn more about The Netherlands.

A great miniature park where you will get to see the entire Netherlands. Must visit place and the level of detailing is mind boggling. The minute details of all the architecture are amazing.
We can play with dams, boats etc.

We are family with two girls, 3, 6 and we had a great time. You can be here easily a whole day, there is so much to see!! Highly recommend.
Check the weather before because it is outdoor, so only in good weather....
Also we came during a school day so it was not full of people.

This was an awesome experience!! You get to examine all these attractions within Holland at such a miniature scale. All the details! The train tracks, the mini-figures, the boats! Everything! This way is completely worth the 23 euro admission fee. If you go, make sure you check it all the different experiences they offer! From the plane experience to the optical illusions! It is all worth it!

Amazing park. Super informative. A lot of fun experiences. It's definitely worth to spend at least half a day here. We visited on a Sunday. Wasn't crowded at all.

I visited madurodam 10 years ago, I thought it was a bit boring and small. I took some friends and my kids last week and was pleasantly surprised by the efforts they have made to make it more fun for the kids. Their Dutch master exhibit is so fun and informative. The kids loved it and wanted to stay there all day. Pro tip: bring a few euro coins to make the experience fun and visit the trucks that bring out a little mars candy bars, it’s 20ct and such a fun experience.(similar to the wooden shoe one ($1) If you don’t know where it is just ask.

What an amazing place! From the scale of the buildings, to the finer details, even the vegetation is to scale and real! If your in the area and want to see a snapshot of Holland you have to experience this

Quite expensive at 24 euros for entry for adults but well worth it. We went in late afternoon on a weekday and it was quite empty. The models are in great condition and kept clean. There is a lot of repair or construction work going on and some exhibits don't seem to work like the race track. There are interactive areas for kids such as a free remote control boat section near the entrance. Another is a water lane with locks and model boats. The miniature buildings are done very well and there are many moving elements (cars, boats, etc). More impressive than Mini-Europe, Beconskot or Legoland.
The sand playground is good too and maybe best for kids over 4 years.
The painting exhibit was excellent with 3D versions of famous Dutch paintings.
The aeroplane exhibit was fun. You sit in the plane and TV screens recreate a flight as well as an immersive show ending oddly with some dance music and light show.
I should mention that the playground and miniature area doesn't close at closing time - it was closing at 8pm on the day we went not 5pm as advertised. The shop, restaurant and some attractions closed by 5pm though.

Fun place to visit with kids or also as adults. There are not only miniatures cities but working model of engineering. Also I like the 4d shows they have it was fun time to get entertained for 2-3 hours. I would definitely recommend it as a fun place for anyone.

Perfect place to visit around sunset. Really nice Ferris wheel inside the sea water. Beautiful view of the beach with its bars and restaurants on one side and sunset deep in the sea on the other side. A must visit if you are in Haag. It was not crowded on a weekday at the time of sunset.

This was a beautiful spot to see the ocean. Free to simply enjoy the view with a lot of other activities you can pay to do. There’s a huge Ferris wheel with enclosed cars, bungee drop, trampolines and much more. Lots of food and drink. The lower part of the pier is enclosed with many eating and drinking options.

This is really a nice place to stroll, eat or snack, meet friends or have a drink. You have a lower deck with lots of stands, bars eateries, plublic restrooms. Then you can access the open air upper deck with a fantastic view of the sea and beach. Such an amazing close to Den Haag. Epic.

De Pier in Den Haag is a true gem nestled along the picturesque coastline of the Netherlands. From the moment I set foot on this iconic pier, I was captivated by its beauty and charm. The stunning sunset views that unfold here are nothing short of magical, leaving me in awe of nature's grandeur.
As the sun begins its descent, casting warm hues across the sky, De Pier offers an unrivaled vantage point to witness this natural spectacle. The panoramic vista of the North Sea combined with the striking silhouette of the pier creates a truly enchanting atmosphere.
There are several ways to immerse yourself in the beauty of the sunset at De Pier. Taking a leisurely stroll along the wooden planks, with the gentle sea breeze on your face, is an experience that rejuvenates the soul. The pier's design incorporates comfortable seating areas strategically placed for optimal viewing, allowing you to relax and lose yourself in the captivating scene.
If you're feeling adventurous, I highly recommend visiting the Ferris wheel located at the end of the pier. As you ascend, you'll be treated to an unrivaled perspective of the setting sun, the vast expanse of the sea, and the breathtaking coastline. It's an unforgettable moment that etches itself into your memory.
If you're in Den Haag, a visit to De Pier is an absolute must. Prepare to be mesmerized by the beauty of the sunset and immerse yourself in an atmosphere of tranquility and awe. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

A beautiful experience in the sea shore . The Pier is so beautifully designed and all types of entertainment facilities created for all age groups starting from small kids to ahead people that time passes away without our knowledge. The top of Pier is very windy and this adds to the enjoyment. We took two new food items : Chorus and Calamari fish. Very delicious.

It is an old building, so keep that in mind when reading this. It has many attractions and street food restaurants. You can also bungee jump or zip line, although if the wind is too strong you won't be able to do the former. I rode the ferry wheel and I must say it had a nice view of the coastline, although if you are already afraid of heights I would not recommend riding on a windy day as the cabins sway back and forth. I recommend it 100% if it's a sunny day, as the view is quite nice.

The Beach is clean and the bars are reasonable however prices are high. De Pier offers a number of interesting eating places with an outside terrace with great views down the beach.
There are some toilets inside (€0.5 payable by card).
For kids it adds another activity once they are tired of the beach and sand. There are some pinball machines, and the ferris wheel ride.
For adults with a pair then there is the zip slide which is fun and view is pretty good and the bunge jump which I have not done but looks err.... Interesting.
Expect to spend some cash for a nice afternoon, but it is a good experience and everyone should try last afternoon drinks on the terrace on De Pier it is lovely.

A nice place to visit when in The Hague. It can be easily reached by tram 🚋 from the central station (15 min.). There are multiple shops and restaurants both in the pier and on the rooftop. You can enjoy a nice view of both the sea and the beach. I recommend a visit here! 😊🌊

1 recently rode a Ferris wheel, and I loved it! The view from the top was breathtaking, and I was able to take in an expansive view of the skyline.
The Ferris wheel offered a gentle and smooth ride, while still providing enough excitement with the height and speed. I really enjoyed the experience, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an enjoyable and memorable outing.
- Price a little bit expensive

This is a wonderful place to go walking on a cloudy day. If you go early enough, you can get some great shots with hardly anybody in sight. It does somewhat look a bit tired having seen better days. There is a good variety of restaurants and bars. There are toilets as well but you need to pay a small amount to enter. The ever popular wheel is a must do!

Perfect place to enjoy a really great time at the sea, enjoy some pancakes while looking out of the windows through the waves. Quality is on the top level, attendants deliver nice service. Perfect moments are made here.
And they serve pancakes for allerigical issues without lactose and gluten. Well done guys, thanks a lot for this. Made someone smile.

Nice place with good views of both the North Sea and The Hague. There is no entry fee to come in here, which could account for the lackluster state of some of the places. I would rather they charged 2 Euros for entry and used that money to renovate, or they charged more rent from the vendors to cover some of the costs.

One of the perks of living in The Hague is being near the sea :) the beach is cute and lovely for a stroll, and I recommend walking towards Westerduin park where Scottish highlanders are chillin'. Scheveningen is perfect to, as the Dutch say, "uitwaaien" 🌬️

Museum on part of a dike, with exhibits on a 1953 flood & the Delta Works water management project.
From outside looks like a small museum, even after entering it looks like a small one. Then further you walk more new rooms you will discover at the end most probbaly you will be suprised just like I was how big the place is. They have a lot of materials collected from the big flood lot of videos and news papers and objects from that time. It was also nice to see that it was not only abou the flood itself but also showed that time how people lived what did they used, I loved that they even set up a house built in that era.
They have some more and some not so interesting interactive "games" in the last room, definitelly it was refresing.
Since I do not speak the language unfortu atelly I could not enjoy everything 100%. Some videos were not even subtitled also some older information table was not in english. But I could see that all new room has translated tables and all information are there in english and german too.
So overall I loved it. It was informative, also interactive and also eye opening. So recommended! :)
(I havent seen any tables that pictures can not be made but if thats the case please let me know I will remove them)

A lot of care went into curating not only information about the power of the water and the importance or the dikes, but creating a nice memorial that not only honors those who died in 1954 but preserves their stories.
There was a lot of video catalogs of interviews of those that were affected as well as footage of when it happened.
Each of the Caissons showcases are unique and offers something for everyone. Movies, stories, artistic interpretations, and modern games. A great visit!

Very interesting museum about the flood in the 1950s and the impact it had. Well done. Nice excursion with older kids 8+
Next to visiting the museum, there are also some hiking routes ( smallest one is around 2.5 km).

The museum is very good with alot of stores to tell. It mainly discusses the great flood in Zeeland, and the recovery after this catastrophe. It contains 4 cassions first for the disaster, second for describing people's emotions and the third for the recovery plan. Finally, the last one for the future plans. I highly recommend taking a tour guide with audio.

If you are interested in the subject of this museum - which is not a pleasant one - this is a must-go. It is one of the best museums I have been to. Highly recommended. Thank you so much for having us, including our dog who was supposed to sit in a pram but wasn’t having it and was allowed to come in anyway.

The adjoining restaurant was excellent too.

Some displays have English translation. Then some don't. The only thing I would change is to have everything printed with English as an option. Missed some of the stories. Very nice, respectable way to honor all that was affected by the tragic flood.

Flood Museum and Delta Works tell the story of the tragic and historic 1952 flood at Middleburg, Netherlands, that started the vignette on a new and energized program of flood control (extensive, higher dikes, & adjustable tide gaates) Devastating and heroic. Visible are wind turbines
