Amazing place for all family trip. Beatiful views. Very friendly people.

We made a day trip here with our group. Really wonderful natural spectacle. Both the view from the village above and the view on site or even in the crater leave you speechless. Very great tourist attraction which was also well organised by the guide. However, one has to deal with the emerging smell of sulphur.

Honestly is better around it and the very (lonley) road to reach it there but... would you go to Nyssiros without walking down the volcano? Please, don't. Go there, walk down, enjoy feeling the power of Polyvnos, the Titan who've been fought by Neptune, still full of rage screaming down in the sea at the bottom of the island. 🤯
The Tigaki Beach hotel is perfect for those looking for a relaxing escape. The all-inclusive facilities include a tennis court, an outdoor pool complex and a beach area, making it the perfect spot to take some time out. The tranquil waters are great for swimming and there is plenty of space to relax on the white sand beaches.
Amazing. Nothing but sand and blue seas.
€10 for 2 very big mattress beds for the day with service to you. Excellent.

The staff is very nice and the food is good, but the hotel is not environment-friendly. They use plastic straws, cups and they force you to wear one time use plactic gloves in the restaurant wich was all okay 3 years ago but now they should really upgrade especially next to the sea.

Wonderful ⛱️ nearby within 5 minutes walking. The rooms are good and quiet. The food is ok but there's only inside dining. Don't expect anything from the Wifi... it's just scrap.

Let's start with the good things, the rooms were clean, actually these were the good things.
Furthermore, the bad things, little variety of food, everything almost cold, the owners walk around as if they don't feel like it, especially with a big mouth towards the staff. The staff themselves do their best to ensure that you have a nice holiday.
But in terms of owners, what is walking around is bad and that should be a calling card for the hotel, well not. If there is any remorse, everything should be softened immediately.
Our experience at this hotel has never been very bad again

I came away from this beach feeling like I'd been to a spa. Beds so comfortable, view is to die for. Sea so inviting. We both loved it and are deffo going back.
Chester Cheeto — Google review
Positive:
Close to the beach , which is great and beautiful. The Tigaki area is quiet calm and small (if you like this).
The pool area at the hotel is great!
Negative:
It’s a four star hotel. It should be 2 star. The food is bad. No variety and lack of signs what it is and that’s terrible if you are allergic or haft a special diet etc.
our room was a museum of the 80’s. You get no shampoo, conditioner etc , the cleaning is only wiping the floors. Every time they have cleaned the left doors unlocked... The beds were hard as rocks.
It’s free Wifi but this really sucks. Bad or no connection!
Prepare yourself for Germans! And a lot of German kids pushing in the restaurant.
When we checked out the staff didn’t even ask how our stay have been...
No I’ll not recommend. But I’ll recommend Tigaki and Kos.
Elin Lidefeldt — Google review
The hotel isn't extremely bad, I enjoyed my stay, but it's just a poor 2 star hotel.
The rooms are clean and the garden area with the pools is very nice and well maintained.
However, the rooms are outdated. There is no soap or shampoo in the rooms and the hairdryers aren't functioning.
The food is extremely poor. It's school cantine quality. If you are vegetarian or vegan there won't be anything to eat for you except for some canned peas or carrots and potatoes.
For breakfast they sometimes have one pack of soy milk but half of the time it isn't there.
They really have to step up their game here.
Add some vegan milk, nuts and fruits to the breakfast and it would already be a lot better.
For dinner don't add meat to all literally everything.
Although there is supposed to be WiFi it basically doesn't work.
The service is also poor. During check-in they don't tell you where your room is or any other facilities. It's not that they are rude, they just aren't very helpful.

The rooms are fine and clean. Rooms are made up daily including new towels.
The bartenders are very nice and the service is perfect.
The owner, daughter and another woman in charge walk around the hotel grumpy all day long. Haven't heard a single good morning yet. When you ask the daughter something, she just sighs and doesn't even roll her eyes. If you are having a drink on the terrace in the evening between 11:30 PM and 12:00 AM and it is noisy, the woman tells you that it must be quiet immediately. Of course we understand it, but the tone that was set was shocking to us. Then the bartenders also received a lecture from the woman.
The breakfast is fine, as is the lunch. In the evening it was disappointing. Often the same food and not always hot. The employees are very nice.
The location is perfect! There is also a bus stop at the hotel.
The shops are a 5-minute walk away.
Not a second time for us.
kim doensen — Google review
The positive first: The hotel is only a few hundred meters away from the Tigaki beach. Access to the beach via the driveway about 3 minutes walk.
Otherwise the hotel is more like a 3 star hotel. 4 stars are not appropriate. This starts with the fact that there is not even shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom and not even a bottle of water when you arrive. Instead, despite all inclusive, you should buy everything extra in the hotel's own shop. For me an absolute no go for a hotel that wants 4 stars. Simply absurd and proof that the hotel is extremely stingy and tries to earn a few euros with what is taken for granted.
Unfortunately, things are now getting worse. The only restaurant in
Hotel is completely closed. The terrace, which is very spacious and shady, may not be used for eating during the main meals, because the staff does not want to serve on the terrace, they do not serve anyway, only used dishes are cleared away.
The crowning glory, however, is the restaurant boss: the personified rudeness! His job is to greet the guests. He just about manages that. But woe to a guest who dares to come into the restaurant shortly before the end of the limited buffet times, then he will show his true face! Then the guest is snapped at in such an unfriendly tone, and unfriendly pointed out that the buffet is about to close, that one would like to leave, which is probably the intention of the restaurant chef.
As a guest, you have the impression that the restaurant manager works for the railway company, the light is switched off at the minute and regardless of whether guests want to take something else, the cutlery is simply cleared away so that nobody can get anything anymore!
Unbelievable and unbeatable in terms of unfriendliness and unprofessionalism! The same goes for the service. This one deserves 0 stars. One can hardly speak of service, because all the staff does is clear plates. This is truly an outstanding achievement and second to none.
The hotel manager seems to be just as unprofessional as the restaurant chef, because the first time I complained and asked to speak to the manager, he was not available. However, in the days that followed, no one reported
Hotel management with me. Complaint management is a foreign concept at this unprofessional hotel.
It happened the way it had to. On the last evening, the situation escalated verbally and there was a violent and loud verbal argument between the extremely unfriendly restaurant manager and me as a hotel guest. Again the hotel manager was unavailable. A poor hotel employee had to serve to mediate. He tried his best, but unfortunately he couldn't save the hotel's reputation given the unspeakable behavior of the restaurant manager.
Due to the absolutely unspeakable conditions regarding the hotel restaurant, I unfortunately have to downgrade the hotel to not recommended. I can't in good conscience recommend anyone to rent there. A feeling of well-being and carefree enjoyment of the holiday is hardly possible with such lousy service in the restaurant. The rest of the staff was friendly, but unfortunately the behavior of the restaurant chef is ruining the hotel's reputation and management is doing nothing about it.

Very nice food, perfect location, good room conditions (free air conditioning, cleanliness). The staff are very polite and helpful. Swimming pool is quite large, and - what's for us was most important - has a children area.
Michal Homa — Google review

A beautiful hotel with all inclusive, but little variety in the food. Beautiful swimming pools, which are not heated, but if the outside temperatures are good, that is not a problem. There is little to do for children.
The staff is very friendly and the rooms super clean.
The hotel is located near a beautiful sandy beach (150 meters)
Chris Van Capelle — Google review
Probably the best beach in Kos, at least this is what the locals say. It is ideal for children because it is a wide and long beach with a slow slope into the water. The water it is calm and certainly warmer than on the eastern part of the island. Of course if there was a high wind at large, there will be some debris on the shore. That's one of the reasons why people should not throw plastic into the sea. I got a minor cut at a foot into one of this debris.

Our family stayed in a hotel in August 2022, nice and clean hotel, friendly staff.
Dean G — Google review
Absolutely loved the stay! Nice staff, great food. The hotel was most likely fully booked out, still wasn’t to full. Privat Beach very close by (2min walk). 2 Beach chairs and 1 umbrella cost 8€ a day at the reception or 5€ per person at the very lovely old dude who oversights the beach. Renting car, bike, motorbike, quad possible. Music at the bar is played all day but subtle. Even when check out at 12 you can still book a free shower for 30min. For 10€ deposit you can get two beach towels. Rooms refreshed daily. All in all highly recommend. Thinking about going again in October.
Nils Buurman — Google review
I’ll start with the positives, great location, nice and clean pool… that’s about where they end.
When we visited the listing said that there was internet provided BUT THERE IS NO INTERNET!!! Internet is only available in the lobby and SOME rooms, not ours. This one really put a bitter taste in my mouth, I think it’s horrible to mention there is internet when it is ONLY in the main lobby and reception area. They also did not make a great attempt at fixing the issue. I have stayed in a multitude of hotels, and I think this is the first one where there is just no internet availability.
The non-alcoholic drink selection is mediocre at best, with there only being one mocktail available.
Our bathtub drain did not close.

What a wonderful place. Everyone we met was so welcoming and encompassing. Every restaurant we went to was superb, the beaches were clean, the sun beds and bikes reasonably priced. The cocktails were delicious wherever we went. It’s a shame there’s a problem with taxis on the island, but apart from one long wait, it was generally good service. We also had great fun cycling the beach road, jet skiing, going to the mountains and going to the old town and harbour - it’s super easy to get about! Can’t wait for our next venture here soon!
Agios Stefanos Beach is a stunning spot to spend a day in Kos, perfect for swimming and enjoying the views of the channel of turquoise water on Kastri island. The beach is also great for windsurfing and kitesurfing, with nearby restaurants serving up delicious food.
Very long beach partially sand/partially stones. The water is incredible clean. The bay is normally downvwind so the sea is used to be calm. Really fun and easy to reach the small island with the characteristic church on the top. On the bad side the view behind the beach is nothing special.
Paola Macrini — Google review
The beach itself is a perfect place where ancient history meets unbelievably beautiful nature. You can see remains of basilicas and just across it, surrounded by the sea, rocky island which is extremely "instagramable". You can get sunbeds and an umbrella (10e per set per day) but you should go there earlier in the morning. Not many spots. There is no cafe, but there is the staff from a nearby bar/restaurant, they can take your order and deliver coffee or food to you.
Jovana Jovanovic — Google review
Our absolutely favourite beach in Kos. Lovely sand, good water, and a very cool ruin next to it. Some very sweet and friendly cats in the area, so bring cat treats and hand wash - and we 100000% recommend making the swim to the island. You can walk a lot of the way, and if you bring some googles or a swimming mask, diving is very fun with the fish.
Aimee Hollingsworth — Google review
Love this beach with ruins and sand superb
Careen Long — Google review
This is our favourite all round beach in Kos and a must see if you plan on driving around the island and exploring a little. It is beautifully situated with ancient ruins, a rocky island and a couple of nice beach areas. You can swim or pedalo to the island and ring the bell on the side of the building.
The beach is good for swimming, sun bathing, snorkeling exploring rocky coves or just chilling. There is also a big choice of restaurants further along the beach.
Dave Hollis — Google review
Very nice beach. Water was clear and it was possible to swim to the island. One sunshade cost 5 Euro a day.
In my eyes it was fair.
One of the best beaches of Kos.
Blackforest guy — Google review
Love it! My favourite in Kos.
Easy accessible with parking area across.
There’s a spot on the corner of the beach which is amazing for beautiful view on the island, for the level of water which allows you to have long walk inside refrigerating your legs and for quite environment.
Possibility to have both: public space or 2 sun lounges with parasol at 13 euro per day.
Not so far, just 10 minutes by walk there’s taverna Katerina. Mix of both is incomparable.
Very suggested!

One of the best non-natural beaches in the island with ruins of basilica. There is also a small beautiful island with a chapel. You can walk a half way in the water there.

Beautiful place, a lot of tourists, we did not swim. I bought cherries, but Polish ones are much tastier😃
El?bieta Soko?owska — Google review
The most fun beach of our whole holiday! The island really gives this beach some character.
There are water sport activities to hire here too!
If you walk towards the bars away from the island, there a lots of beds which we were able to use (not sure they belong to the hotels behind them, but we were not asked to move).
The beds at the entrance of the beach (from the carpark) belong to iKos, don’t sit here as they will ask you to move, these are for guests only.
It is quite shallow water swimming over to the island, however it’s quite a swim, so if you’re not not a confident swimmer, I wouldn’t risk it without a life jacket.
Also, if you swim over to the island, you may need swimming shoes, as the rocks to climb up are steep and you would need shoes to climb them.
Zo? Bird — Google review
It was amazing.
We took the pedal for 20 euros for an hour and went on the little island in front of the beach. The colours there are fantastic, a real therapy for the eyes.
Giulia Manzini — Google review
Really enjoyed the beach with its ruins and the view of the little island. Also there is a little bar with sandwiches and drinks on reasonable prices.
Sandy beach, cristal clear water, with sone trees near the ruins providing shadow of you don't choos sunbeds and umbrellas.
Also, if you can, do swim to the little island. The views are amazing.
Claudia Caraba — Google review
It's one of the nicest sandy beaches on island of Kos with spectacular view of the small island with a church accross - you can swim over and visit the island, takes about 5-10 minutes. The beach features a nice gradual enternance into the turquise water. There's a parking nearby and you can rent deck chair in the shade for about 10€. But beware, the beach is well-known, so can be busy. Would definitelly visit again when visiting Kos!
Ilija German Ilić — Google review
The most clean beach of Kos between Paradise, Tam Tam, Marmari and Thermes beaches. If you swim a bit far away, crystal clear water is where you find yourself in :) As being beside the ruins of the Basilica St. Stefanos, it also becomes distinct from the rest.
Rümeysa İhvan — Google review
Really stunning beach! The ancient ruins are a must visit considering the back drop of the ocean.
The beach itself is very clean with crystal clear water. Excellent for cooling down as the water is not very deep.
Merlin Kraft — Google review
Lovely beach with lovely views of the mountain. Plenty of parking but we did go off-peak.
There's a small superstore 2 mins drive way but nothing else on the beach itself for food or drink.
Paradise beach is a perfect spot for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports in Kos. The cove is surrounded by cliffs and there are several rentable chairs nearby. It's one of the best beaches on the island and is perfect for families.
very beautiful and relaxing beach! the road there is a challange but the place is worth it! bring your own food, as the little bar there provides only snacks and drinks!
Liridona Gashi — Google review
Amazing place, clear turquoise water, clean sand, beautiful views!
We'll be back for sure.
Of course - driveway is challenging as it is only tarmac, but standard car can handle that.
Woj Kow — Google review
Breathing views, clear water, not crowded, amazing.
One minus is that the beach bar plays really loud electronic music, which doesn't fit there, according to me, but if you go a little further from it, it should be fine.
Also, bring food, because the bar serves only toast and chips, but at 3 o clock the toasts were finished.
The road is a little difficult, but doable.
Claudia Caraba — Google review
The most beautiful beach in Kos.
Road is a really bad gravel, but for me a chalenge, and bautiful wievs.
Because of the dificult aproach, there's no crowd. Good Pirates bar, nice service.
If you'll ever spend time in Kos you have to be here. It's a MUST.
Andrej Likar — Google review
True hidden gem of the island, it was the highlight of our trip. It is the perfect sandy beach one can ask for! However, we did not look up well enough the road conditions, and rented a small Daihatsu to get there, which was a struggle. You have to climb up and down a mountain to get there, no fence on the side of the curvy, dirty road. Only go with a driver that has experience in driving in the mountains.
Sunbeds are 10€ per day, the lady was really unfriendly, so we laid our towels.
Eszter Kovacs — Google review
Absolutely amazing. It was a bit tricky to get there with a Suzuki city car, but we managed that mainly on 1st gear. Road back is a bit harder. Beach itself is beautiful and lovely.

One of the best beach, despite the bad road it's definitely worth a visit, awesome view, super club music, cleanest whater in the island, great location and nice staff.

Wonderful semi-wild beach in Kefalos! I definitely recommend it.
Cliffs and mountains in the background, clear and not too cold water.
There is a bar that apparently serves only drinks. And about 20-25 umbrellas with sun beds for rent (10€ per day per umbrella with 2 beds). But there is also quite some space to lay down freely on the sand.
The downside for me is that the bar plays loud techno music all day long, which doesn’t match with the wild and relaxing landscape.
At low tide you can probably walk to the nearby cove to the south. But better bring suitable footwear to walk on rocks and check the tide to avoid being cut off.
Yes the road to get there is unpaved and sometimes steep. But I got there and back safely in a very normal small car. And so did many other normal cars that I saw in the car park (more normal cars than ATVs and 4x4s).
I just followed the route indicated by Google Maps and drove slowly, paying attention to rocks and potholes on the way. It took me about 30-40 minutes to drive from Kefalos village. 10-20 km/h on the roughest/steepest stretches of the road. The road is wide enough for 2 cars to pass.
Keep low gears engaged: 2nd or 1st in the steepest/roughest stretches, both uphill and downhill. I run most of the totally unpaved stretch in 1st gear. Keep your clutch pedal up at all times unless you almost come to a stop or when switching gears. Try to keep the side of the road that is smoothest, since there is nearly no traffic. If possible steer away from big rocks and potholes, otherwise tackle them at walking speed. It will be perfectly fine… and fun :-)

This was the highlight of my trip . It is a very beautiful and relaxing beach!
To get there we had to drive through a narrow road in the mountains. It was challenging. I recommend you go there with quads .
Just be careful when driving .
There is a bar there that offer only drinks, prices are okay .
Asma Boussabat — Google review
Its a very nice place, but to many wasps on the beach. U can also drive with a normal car, but drive slow beacuse there are som big rocks on the road. When u leave the place its a very steep slope, so use the first gear only. We wisited this place early in the morning, no sign of people.

One of our favourite 3 beaches in Kos. Only accessible by dirt track. Not really suitable for normal cars, but great fun in a dune buggy, quad or 4 x 4 jeep. We hired a basic dune buggy with 150 cc engine and it was an awesome experience driving there. Very scenic drive.
The beach is set in front of high cliffs with a sandy beach. Very dramatic and secluded. I can't imagine it gets crowded. There is a shack selling drinks (alcoholic or soft) with a covered seating area and some sunbeds and parasols. You can walk along the beach quite a way to explore and even paddle/swim to the next cove.
David Ashton-Hollis — Google review
Wow! What an incredibile beach!
Quite a journey to arrive but definetly worth a visit.
Be advised that it will take almost half an hour off-road route, so check your type of vehicle.
If you get there early in the morning maybe you can enjoy some time completely alone. Outstanding!

I'll never travel to Mykonos Town without this trip planner again
Amazing experience, the lady in the reception is explaining all the history and Kiriakos is great.. he will show you the equipment outdoors, also what you have to check in the war museum.. amazing video at the end of the corridor explaining the battle of Leros.. great work guys
Maria Avgerinou — Google review
Good war museum covering the battle for Leros in WWII. Housed in the old tunnels the Italians built to store munitions. If you're interested, it's worth reading up in advance, "Churchill's Folly" or other books on the subject. The museum has several videos running non stop as well if you didn't brush up on it. Google said it was closed, but we called first and it is open from 9:30 to13:30.
Phillip Hasley — Google review
A good Museum to learn more about the WWII on Leros. Here a big battle take place between Germany and the England/french troops. There are many old artefacts (guns, projectiles, bikes, machines).
But you have to pay for all the this.
You can watch a 10 minute movie there too about the war on Leros.
Tobias D. — Google review
A must-see if you are visiting Leros.. learnt a lot about the history of this island especially the Battle of Leros. The visiting hours were not accurate on google as we came in the afternoon and it was closed. Had to come again the next day as it opens only from 9am-1pm.
Clariss C — Google review
A must-visit place when in Leros. It might be small but it is jam-packed full of exhibits from 2nd world war era when the island got annihilated by the german troops.
Entrance fee is ridiculously low (3€) and it really is worth visiting to help the council and the personnel to keep on preserving and showcasing all these exhibits.
You really do get a sense or history when inside these Italian-made tunnels.
Aris Galatis — Google review
Visited back in 2006 and a well maintained collection of the battle of Leros. At that time the museum was closed but the volunteers were very helpful to give a private tour. Many thanks for that because we still remember this experience.

Described in the guide books as a collection of archives but so much more. Moving retelling of the battle of Leros through collection of recovered military equipment and clothing and film. Only 3 euros entrance fee. Set in tunnels where civilians hid during the bombing.

The castle is absolutely beautiful from far away, as well as to stroll around inside of its ruins and definitely the spot to say goodbye from one of its windows to the sun at the sunset.
The entrance is free of charge. Inside one can find some ruins of ancient colonnes, churches, and beautiful windows facing all directions of the island.
The castle is not accessible though, cause the way coming to it is full of stairs. No other way.

A castle, regarded to its keeper, Querini, on top of the island, but needs to be more taking care of. It sure deserves a visit and offers great view.

Great views. A wonderful place to go for half an hour or more and to watch the sun go down 🌞.
Tim Griffiths — Google review
Most Greek isles have their "Kastro", but the castle of Astypalea beats them all. For one, many of them are hidden within the buildings or have low walls. The Querini Castle is an impressive height and is definitely a sight to see atop the highest point of Astypalea. By day, it simply can't be missed, while by night, lit up beautifully on the dark hill, it is almost magical. Also unique to it is the fact that it holds a full scale church inside it, which is cleverly built on archways just over the only narrow passageway into the castle. The space inside the Kastro is also large and still has a lot of buildings, some of which are fully intact. Of course, the views from up there are breathtaking, especially through the remaining windows facing all around the coast below. Definitely worth a visit!

Carolina Olivares — Google review
The Castle of Astypalea, or by its other name: Castle of Querini, is undoubtedly the hallmark of the small and beautiful island of Astypalea. It stands on a cliff above the picturesque capital of the island - (Chora) Astypalea. The beauty of the panoramic view around, with the deep blue colors of the Aegean Sea, together with the rocky cliffs of the island in the background, and the white houses of the town spread out at its foot, give it a magnificent beauty. The castle was built by the Venetian Querini family on the ruins of the ancient acropolis of the site, in the 15th century. The walls of the castle are relatively well preserved, however, most of the buildings within the walls were destroyed during the earthquake in 1956.
The castle is decorated with 3 beautiful churches, shining in their white-blue colors. Two of them are inside the walls, the Virgin of the Castle, (1853) and Agios Georgios (1790)
and the third one, the Holy Church of Panagia Portaitissa, is located on the south side of the complex, (at its foot), where you enter the castle.
It is highly recommended to walk around the narrow streets below the castle, enjoy the beautiful houses, and the warm hospitality of the locals. (Just take into consideration the stairs and the slops)
If you arrive here in mid-August, don't miss the biggest traditional festival of the island that is celebrated in the church, every 15 of August (the celebration of virgin Maria)!!

Beautiful landmark castle at the top of Astypalea’s Chora. Splendid views; definitely worth coming early to watch the sunset as it can get quite crowded at times.

A super impressive castle atop the hillside town as you enter the he bay. The castle is a ruin inside with two Bazantine churches inside the walls. The views are stunning and their are lots of little cafes in the town to chill and look at the sparkly boats in the harbour or bay.

The castle of Astypalaia or Astropalia, with Greek traditional songs dedicated to it, has Western European architectural style, closely associated with the Venetian family of Querini. As a site, it provides a great view of the town of Astypalaia (Chora) and the surrounding islands. Heavy winds might make one's visit unpleasant. The visit is free of charge and unfortunately that goes along with the absense of detailed signs. More or less the visitor cannot understand what he/she sees. The monument is still a landmark worth visiting.

An iconic building of the archipelago with incredible views. A must visit
Fbo BO — Google review
It is unique in its castle type, very different from the castles in the other islands of the South Aegean.
It is also called Astrolia Castle or Querini Castle.
It was built by the Querini Venetian family on the ancient citadel. It took its final form in the 15th century.
It is built with traditional local dark stone and is surrounded by white houses, the exterior walls of which create a real wall, with small windows for loopholes. With a strong fortress character to protect the inhabitants from pirates, it has visibility in the two natural harbors of the island.
Inside the castle are the famous churches with stone belfry, Panagia Kastro (1853) and Agios Georgios (1790).
The Monastery of Saint John the Theologian, built in the 11th century, is a significant pilgrimage site and center for Greek Orthodox learning. Although active, only a small portion of the immense monastery-fortress is open to visitors. The entrance leads to a chapel adorned with frescoes and marble columns from an ancient temple.
Beautiful monastery on Patmos. A little bit of a hike to get to, but the view and monastery are worth it. The scenes on the outside and the chapel itself are impressive. The museum has a wide selection of old religious texts, icons, and vessels. A number of nice shops on the road up to the monastery.

Nice half day trip. Take the bus up and and walk down. The town itself was totally closed when we visited. No lunch or, coffee, nothings. The monasteries is really a gem.

5* Beauty
5* Medieval Atmosphere

#NoAccessibility though
Amazingly beautiful and very well preserved castle and monastery with a fantastic view over Patmos town and harbour. To get here you have to cross the winding narrow streets of Chora town, sometimes with stairs. The final path to the monastery is made of stairs, and inside the monastery there are mainly small stairs to get around.
If you have a chance to walk around outside the walls of the monastery, you will feel the power of huge stones from which the castle is built, its height and majesty!

It was a really beautiful experience to visit this monastery. It is well preserved and so unique. It has also a museum that is worth to visit! At the end the view from there is perfect
FLORA SARTZETAKI — Google review
A beautiful monastery, traditional, so fortified that it looks like a castle. There are many old manuscripts and amongst its relics you can see the skull of Saint Thomas the Apostle. Creepy and it makes you cringe. But all in all an absolute must see.

I lit a candle for my dad here, it was a very peaceful place, where you can contemplate and just be in the moment ❤

A magnificent monastery built in 1088 sits high upon the hill overlooking Patmos. The museum is the best place to understand its history. The cave of St. John is not far and is the place where he wrote the book of revelations. Photos are not allowed in the cave.
Bruce Wessel — Google review
The entrance is free, but the exterior is much more impressive than the interior. On the days when the monastery of St. John is open in the afternoon (see a photo of the current schedule attached) there is almost nothing to see inside, because the museum and the main church are both closed. It's better to visit it in the morning. A good photo of the monastery of St. John can be taken from the windmills.
Globe Trotter — Google review
You can feel something different from normal church spiritually. In order to feel with some meditation, it would be better for you to arrive there at least 1 hour earlier than closing time because they start to close 10min before closing from innerside and close gate at closing time.
Theofilos SHIN — Google review
Beautiful monastery atop the picturesque island of Patmos. Taxis do a rotation from the tender port for $50 usd or Euro, visiting the cave of the apocalypse (30 min), the monastery (1 hr), before returning you to the port. Be warned that the climb is strenuous to the monastery. Finally, there are entrance fees at the cave 3€ and the monastery museum 5€ (not necessary to pay to see the monastery). Have fun. The views are worth it!
Edgar Leon — Google review
Well, it’s interesting but not THAT interesting. Depends on the tour guide. Great ocean views for pictures.
This cave is where St John of Patmos supposedly received the visions behind the Book of Revelations.
Visit the cave St. John spent his exile in dictating the book of revelation. The new approach to enter is much easier than the old set of stairs. It is a spiritually moving place to spend a little time as you visit the islands.
Brian Saylor — Google review
The Holiest spot in Greece. It is said that St John while exiled on the island heard God speaking to him and he then wrote the Book of the Apocalypse. The monks here do a great job explaining the cave's rich history to all the faithful visitors. The Cave was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1999.

You can feel something special such as very calm, divine and apocalyptic environment. Before going there , please check the closing time for each day. You can see port side as well from the window of the bulidning connected with the cave
Theofilos SHIN — Google review
It is part of the Monastery of Saint John the Theologian. It is where St.John heard the voice of God and wrote the book of Revelation. Easily accessible by car and you only need 20-30 minutes to visit it. It is open until 13:30 so it is something to do before you hit the beach.
Elina D — Google review
You can walk up here from the port in about 20-30 minutes or catch a cab. Walking rewards you with great views and a gradual approach. The Monastery itself has been build over many centuries and you can see the wear of monks sandals on the stone. The church itself has a very spiritual and special feel to it. worth hanging about outside the church in there is a coach party going through as the place is best savoured in solitude . Light a candle and hit like if you found this useful - enjoy

Impressive sacred/holy cave which over the centuries became enclosed in the church of St Anna. 6 euro admission fee. Arrived early to avoid crowds, however a morning service was in progress, which was a bonus to witness and attend

Beautiful, beautiful! Our tour guide indicated that it's one of the 100 places to see before you leave this earth! Hollywood movers and shakers are here for a visit. It is a small and quiet island and not many people bypass Patmos as it's not a party crazy town like Santorini. I personally love this place, great view for pictures and so peaceful. Be sure to visit to apostle John's cave where he wrote the book of Revelation last chapter of the Bible.

The Cave of the Apocalypse is one of the main reasons for coming to Patmos. The bus going from Skala to Chora stops at the Cave 1.80 euro). On foot, it's only a 15 minute walk from Skala on a rocky path. On a Tuesday morning in April there were only 3-4 people attending mass at the Cave. Just a fraction of the complex composed of 3-4 chapels is currently open to the public: the cave itself, and the adjacent chapel of Ste Anne. The entrance is free. The views toward Skala are beautiful.

Absolutely don't miss this historic place, whether you are religious or not, you must go, full of spiritual energy
11th-century monastery with a dramatic cliffside location & sweeping views of the Aegean Sea.
Wonderful monastry. If the weather is right this place is just magical. Remember that man should wear long trousers and women need to cover shoulders and knees out of respect. Inside it is really narrow but you can look a the religious pictures and paintings. Prepare some coins for donation. If youre on Amorgos you really should go there!
Fede Ron — Google review
An amazing place with a lot of charm. You have to climb all the stairs to enjoy it but it worth the effort clearly.
Such an atmosphere up there with this majestic monastery on the cliff. Really one of the best thing to do in Amorgos Island. Make sure to visit it 🙌🏾👍🏾

Gorgeous place. Be ready to go up. If you don’t have long trousers or skirt, there will be available on entry.

Incredible to see this monastery up close. It was a long climb but we did it in the afternoon and it was a little dark inside, hard to see all the icons properly. I have been told if you do it in the morning there is more light inside the monastery. When we got inside there were people guiding us through as it was busy. When we got to the church part there was a priest answering questions we were then showed to another room and offered water and a sweet liquor. Worth doing.
liz sakeson — Google review
The monastery is a must visit experience for any visitor to Amorgos regardless of religious background.
The sheer amazement of a building constructed over 1,000 years ago can only be surpassed by the effort of constructing it right into the cliff side. Pictures don't do this experience justice, and the monks and staff that welcome guests made us feel welcome and taught us a lot about the area and the monastery itself.
Nate Vance — Google review
Beautiful monastery with awesome views and rich history. They serve the local liquor at the end of your tour. You only get to see a small portion of the monastery so it's hard to imagine what the daily life is like for the monks who love there.
Brynn Harshbarger — Google review
Very impressive monastery worth visiting regardless of your religion as it is curved in a rock.
To approach it is difficult as the way is long and the steps are many.
When you are there they offer you the local "psimeni" and water to welcome you.
Have in mind that you should be there before 13.00, as it closes

Beautiful experience be careful to use proper shoes and not flip flops or Birkenstock and be ready you need to be going up for a good 20 Min for not fit people like us :-)

Must see when you visit Amorgos.
Note that it is a bit of a hike from the carpark to the monastery but it's worth doing. The monks are really welcoming and friendly.
It's free admission but donations are welcome there. You do need to wear certain attire, so no shorts and shoulders need to be covered.
Stunning views on the way up and at the top.

Stunning location. I half expected it to be a bit over-hyped, but it fully delivers !
Not great for anyone with mobility issues though. The steps up to the monastery weren't as steep as I'd expected, but they're still steep and polished from wear over the years, so can be a bit slippery, especially coming down.
You don't get to see much of the monastery inside, but it's still worth planning your visit to ensure they're open.
If you're walking back up to the Hora, it can be warm work back up those steps / the path !
Woolly Blue — Google review
You leave your car at a parking spot just around the entrance.
Be prepared for 270 stairs uphill, and it can be very tiring. Try to find a day with wind and without extreme heatwave to ensure you won't get too tired. The monastery opens 17.3 and closes 19.00. You are required to wear long skirts and long sleeves for women, and men have to wear trousers and shirts. If you are not prepared, they give you in the entrance pants and skirts so you can go in. The view is worth it all !
Catherine Panteli — Google review
The best known architectural feature of the island is a must when you visit Amorgos. Long trousers are required for men and women need to cover their shoulders and knees but you’ll find pants and foulards there free of use. Please make sure you bring some cash to contribute to the maintenance of the monastery and to appreciate the free entrance and amicable monks that will offer you cold water and raki psimeni when you arrive
Sebas Pico — Google review
Very disappointing, you have to climb a lot of stairs and then you can only get in if you wear the dress code. Inside you can see only a few rooms, but the view is incredible.
You should just head up a bit of the stairs just for the view.
Mystake and Anything — Google review
Amazing piece of architecture. Incredible that it was built into limestone cliffs so long ago. Very welcoming atmosphere. Don't be that person who refuses to comply with the dress code. They provide spare long trousers and long skirts so do the right thing - it's not hard to be respectful :)
Terrylea Reynolds — Google review
Worth visiting, make sure to check the schedule and wear appropriate clothes (pants and t-shirt for men, long skirts and t-shirt for women). In case you are not dressed appropriately, they provide clothes.
Schedule 9:00-13:00 and 17:00-19:00, I would suggest go a bit earlier for pictures without the crowd.
In the end they offer a traditional drink and water.
Chora, the hillside capital of Amorgos, is a must-visit destination on the island. Perched on one of the highest points, it provides breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings. The town's charming Cycladic streets lead to a picturesque main square adorned with traditional tavernas and a lovely church, offering visitors an authentic taste of local culture and architecture.

Kedros beach bar
$$$$affordable
Bar
Kedros beach bar is a lovely shoreline spot accessible either by foot in a 20-minute stroll from the port, or through a quick 5-minute bus ride, or even by taking the Boat Bus. The beach itself boasts stunning white sand and crystal-clear Acquamarina water. However, shade options are limited to just two bushes, so it's advisable to bring an umbrella. Keep in mind that if the Maltemi wind blows, it might be impossible to keep your umbrella open.
Beautiful beach reachable by feet 20 Min for us from the port or by bus 5 Min or by Boat Bus.
We loved it white sandy beach and Acquamarina water !
There are only two bushes for shade so bring your umbrella but if the Maltemi wind is blowing no way you can keep it open.
There is a very nice beach bar behind, very fair prices.
You have a walking path that was recently created that takes you to the beach, it is very steep the way back and down so take it into account.

Lovely beach restaurant and bar ideal for a refreshment or a bite while on Kedros beach for the day.
They have a simple but nice food menu which changes weekly, with local Greek speciality at very fair prices.
We went there twice both times sublime !

Genuine atmosphere, biological products and friendly treat. We tried a refreshing salad with rocket, figs, oranges and the arsenico cheese giving it a summery personality; great option to the typical Greek salad. Fava and goat were also tasty. If you stay in Kedros beach, it is worth to remain there for lunch or dinner.

The food here is much better than what you'd expect from a beach bar or from many restaurants for that matter.

I think it is the best beach in Donoussa...large...shallow turquoise blue......you can reach by boat which departs from port or by walk in 30 minutes from port...
Plumera CH — Google review
The most overcrowded beach on the island. It's big, but with almost 100 people it's really full and you get a lot of screaming kids and uncontrolled dogs. White sticky sand, all seems a bit dirty. At least you can shower there. But there are more silent beaches with more respectful people, look for that!
Rustic beach with a crescent of soft white sand, shallow turquoise water & 2 tavernas.
One of the best beach of the Aegean. The colours are AMAZING , green to light blue to dark blue at the deeper parts of the beach, just amazing. Very clean waters also. There are not any trees to offer shade so better take an umbrella or something to protect you from the sun. You can reach Pori either by foot or take a boat from the port, the boat needs about 15 minutes to get to Pori and also offers a nice tours of the other beaches of the island. Highly recommended!

One of my favourites in Koufonissi. Crystal Clear water and white sand. This one is the largest beach available that you can easily reach with the boat from the port or from the other beaches.
The ticket costs 5,00 € and you can use it for the whole day how many times you wish.
The boat passes every 30 min. Pay attention to the wind, as the beach is exposed.

The most far away beach of the island you can easily reach it by the taxi boat that passes at each hours until 7pm in June in July and Aug seems also later rides.

Pori Beach on Koufonisia is a true paradise for beach lovers. Beautiful bay but Busy for big sailing boats. With its crystal-clear, inviting waters and powdery white sand, it offers a serene and idyllic setting. The beach is surrounded by natural rock formations and hills, providing a picturesque backdrop that adds to its charm. The relatively secluded location ensures a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot to unwind and soak up the sun. Visitors often appreciate the untouched beauty of Pori Beach, as well as the opportunity to swim and snorkel in the refreshing Aegean Sea. Keep in mind that amenities might be limited, so it's a good idea to bring your own essentials. Overall, Pori Beach is a must-visit destination for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty in a stunning coastal setting.

The best beach on the island by far. Best way to reach it is by ferry taxis. The beach is big and even though we were next to each other it didn't feel like we were squeezed together. The water was amazing and clean. There is a taverna near by where you can eat. Don't forget to visit gala (γάλα)
Lalos SAW — Google review
A beautiful place, a paradise nearly undiscovered. There are little beaches near the main "Paralia Pori"; it also has a pretty restaurant/bar, it's the biggest place where you can find shade, because from June to September the Sun during the day is very strong, and sometimes it's very windy. It offers fresh fish every day.
For tourists, you can reach this wonderful beach by bus or on your feet, but I suggest the first option, daily ticket costs less than 5€ and you can reach every place on Koufunisia.

Uninhabited island with a rugged feel, attracting visitors for its beaches & dispersed camping.
Wild, pure a bit extreme… you have to spend there a all day walking. Start from Taverna boat stop and go north east, walk towards Hawaii beach, then go to Faraglioni. Spend the afternoon around Paralia Nero in the south

Super clear water on a sandy beach. It also has its on little island and a beautiful sunset.

This is undoubtedly the best beach in the whole island of Ios! Turquoise, transparent water and a sandy beach surrounded by a barren, wild nature. The most tranquil and enjoyable beach I’ve ever been! Also some water sports going on, if with young family. Paid 10euros for the whole set of sand beds and had lunch at the adjacent tavern at the back ( also very decent prices ). Parking is for free at the back. The only difficulty is getting there … even by car was quite a challenge and should definitely be careful with the silly Google maps directions, which will most probably take you off road ( very dangerous route - make sure you stay on the main road, no matter what Google suggests and avoid driving in the dark ).
P.S Pet friendly beach !

Very nice beach with clean blue water and pure sand. The beach bar was silent with no music. It was 10 euros for 2 people to sit and I think it’s cheap for what it offers. Best place to relax.
Paralia Milopotas is a great beach with plenty of space to relax. Visitors can rent beds and tables or find free areas to set up. The water is beautiful and perfect for a quick dip. While the rental prices may be higher than other nearby beaches, many find it worth the cost. The soft, clean sand and amazing water make it an ideal spot for families. Snorkeling enthusiasts will appreciate the underwater beauty as well.
Had a great time here with my family, the sand was soft and clean, and the water amazing.
The prices are modest and you have a great variety to choose from.
Do not forget your snorkeling mask and flaps, the beauty of this place is underwater as well. 🙏🏽

Great beach. Lots of room--beds/tables to rent and also free areas to set up. Water is beautiful and perfect for taking a quick dip.
The beds are more expensive (we spent $15) than some of the other beaches near Chora/xora, but worth it. Compared to koumbara beach, this was world's better.
Also, if you're looking to save money, just go buy a pita at a bakery on the main street to eat and only order water/coffee/drinks from the place you rent your chairs from.

Cons: our room flooded during our stay and we were only offered for it to be “cleaned” when it was obviously a plumbing issue that would re-occur.
We decided to leave and book someone else for our final night. They gave us our money back for the night we left. They advised no other rooms available. I felt they could have done more to assist us during this.
Studio room very small and bed not very comfortable.

The hotel is located a few meters from the beach of Agios Georgios near the city center. I would like to thank the helpful staff and especially Antonis who was there to help us with anything we need. Thus, the rooms are clean spacious and beautifully decorated. if we come back to Naxos we will definitely stay here again.

We visited Naxos many times before but you can't compare any hotel with George studios. Best location, a few steps from st George's beach, a few minutes to the port with restaurants, bakeries etc.It felt like a 5 star hotel.Andonis and his Yaya very friendly and welcoming. Hope we can visit again.

The studios are about a 15 minute walk from the port and in a quiet area right next to the busy part of town. I could throw a rock and hit the ocean.
Tony is a good guy and great host. Always available for help or questions.
I’m very happy that I booked here for my stay in Naxos.

George Studios by far exceeded my expectations. Absolutely beautiful island with amazing views. Our room was stunning with an incredible view of the entire island. Tony the owner was very helpful and made our stay very comfortable with everything we needed. 5 stars for George studios will be returning again next year!

This is the perfect place to stay in Naxos. The owner is so welcoming and greets you with some homemade wine and local cheese and olives. The room we had was very clean and comfortable and newly renovated. We also had a beautiful view. They also offer very helpful recommendations for things to do on the island and will arrange car and bike hire for you.

George’s studios were so lovely! They are situated in a perfect spot 30m from the beach in a quiet area of Naxos town. The studio was perfect for me and my daughter with a little balcony that was so cute! Tony the owner is so friendly and helpful and was so welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again one day!
The Temple of Apollo, a historical landmark situated on the scenic Palatia Island, is now in ruins with only its Portara remaining. Originally built in the 6th century and intended to be a grand temple dedicated to Apollo, it was never completed. The standalone marble doorway provides an idea of its intended size. According to mythology, it was on this island that Theseus left his love Ariadne after slaying the Minotaur in Crete.
This can’t be missed on a visit to Naxos. It is a stunning huge marble gate situated near the Harbour. We visited in early May on a bright sunny day and we were fortunate to have the surrounding area to ourselves. It is fenced but only close up so you have plenty of space to wander around it. No cost to visit.
This marble gate is the remaining part of an unfinished temple of Apollo of 530 BC, is the island’s emblem and main landmark. Apparently the four parts of the gate weigh about 20 tons.
We are hoping to go back to see it also at sunset before we leave.

A beautiful place to take a sit and admire the sunset 🌅
Definitely I’d you want good pictures you must go there. The environment is good, the views are incredible and the see looks perfect 🤩
Definitely you have to visit it within the first days during your staying here

Absolutely stunning in the evening. Definitely make part of your visit walking up and seeing this in the sunset.
Partially built temple where only the giant doorway remains standing. Honestly I'm thankful they never finished it because the doorway Infront of the sunset is beautiful.
Go earlier or later to avoid the crowds

This is the only building from antiquity that remains in the town of Naxos. There isn't much to see though, just a doorway and some foundation stones. It isn't exactly impressive, though its location commands attention. The sunsets here are particularly beautiful, but expect around a thousand tourists to want to view and photograph them
Robert Chomicz — Google review
We went at roughly 10AM and it was cloudy sky's and really windy but it is just simply gorgeous once you're up there.
You gotta walk across a little path and pray to Poseiden not to splash you with his small cresting waves.
And the walk back to the city is also STUNNING! Very very very picture friendly at all angles.
Lasty, it's not stroller / wheel chair friendly but you can leave it right at the bottom and head on up either it. Very safe.

Naxos is a lovely Island. Visited June 2023. Quiet, clean, lovely beaches. Can recommend restaurant 520. Lovely food. Definitely would return here. Visited on small cruise boat. Climbed the hill to the Temple which was not too strenuous but watched the sunset from the boat.
sheryl stewart — Google review
The most famous and photographic place in Naxos. The only thing that stands is a doorway called Portara, and some ruins at the bottom. I have visited here a few times over the years, and it does gets very crowded at sunset but is a great experience if you are on the island then. Also before it used yo he open but now is cordoned off to prevent people climbing on it.
Angela Orphanou — Google review
There is just something so surreal about only a portera (gate/door) standing from what was intended to be a full temple. According to records it was never finished, for whatever reason. Now it creates a unique subject for viewing, contemplation, and GORGEOUS sunsets. We loved checking it out from different angles, and cannot decided which was best. We recommend it for any time of the day, though especially sunrise or sunset. The wind 💨 does really pick up in the afternoon, so it can get uncomfortable and/or cold 🥶 A light jacket is definitely recommended! EnJOY!
flOriDan Venture — Google review
Can’t be missed if your visiting Naxos. The history behind the temple is that people destroyed the temple but the door (the part that we see now) was to heavy to take away so it had to stay there. The temple is so beautiful in the sunset when the sun goes inside the door.
Young Chef — Google review
A beautiful, peaceful sunset.
On the way, we heard two young men play beautiful music.
There are a ton of restaurants and ice cream joints nearby to visit after visiting the Temple of Apollo - Portara.
Parking is hard to find.
Nehal Patel — Google review
Incredible seeing it up close. Went in the evening the first day and second day went to see the sunset. Suggest if you want to be in front of the temple to see the sunset you need to be there one hour before sunset or earlier. But anywhere you go will be okay. Lots of people so need to be patient with everyone wanting to take photos

Worth seeing the most important and iconic landmark of the island of Naxos. Read a little bit about the monument before you visit. Worth seeing during day time but especially sunset.
No entrance it is for free.
Chris Theo. — Google review
The Temple of Apollo in Naxos, known as Portara, is just a short walk from the town and port, offering a serene experience during the winter.
The grounds aren't huge so don't go expecting to have an extensive tour of the temple ruins. Rather take it easy and enjoy the views early in the day or during sunset.
While quiet and reflective during the winter visit, the summer months is a lively contrast, with the temple and its surroundings coming to life with a seaside cafe spot that offers ancient history with a lively vibe.
Ribeye — Google review
Magical, and completely free. Easy stroll up and around. A must-see. Go at sunset for beautiful photos, but it’s also most likely to be crowded at that time.
Stephanie M — Google review
The Portara is a must see when in Naxos! The views here were stunning especially looking back at Naxos. There is barely anyone there during the day during peak season as it’s very hot, but once you get up to the top it’s quite windy anyway. It’s an easy short walk from Chora. Definitely recommend!
Ella — Google review
Probably most famous spot of Naxos. If you want to have it for yourself come during the day and pay attention that you will not be here when ferry arrives. But if you don't mind crowds and would like to feel the atmosphere, sunset time is the best time to be here as crowds come and enjoy music, light and romantic atmosphere.

This site is an absolute beauty. The owner of my hostel suggested that we come around sunset and the views were amazing. Not too busy around late march early April, but still warm enough to walk around without jackets. Amazing!

It was a nice landmark site very accessible to all who enter the port. Night pictures are advisable too! Not many people around due to the season, so snapped some nice photos in nice weather. Doesn't take long to walk up to temple and take some pictures. No tickets necessary.

Ok, this was incredible. Check it out at sunset… amazing…. Check it out at sunrise…. Amazing…. Check it out during the day…. Amazing. And yes, check it out lit up at night… amazing. It doesn’t matter when you go, it’s incredible.
Elia Mykonos Resort by the Sea is a casual beachfront hotel with bright accommodations and an open-air bar. The restaurant serves delicious food, including an excellent Greek salad, pasta, shrimp, burgers, and more. The hotel is located on Elia Beach which is known for its popularity among nudists so visitors should be aware and respectful of others' privacy. The beach itself has golden sands, clear waters, and cool breezes making it a great place to spend the day.
The most amazing place to stay while in Mykonos. The hosts we're super friendly and accommodating, they had the best breakfast, always with freshly baked food and a chef to make you delicious crepes and eggs on the spot.
The also really well situated right next to the beach and have a pool at the resort as well. The cleaning ladies were super nice and would do a fantastic job, while we were away. On a scale 1 to 10 these guys are a 100, would definitely book again if I get the chance to come to Greece again.

Beautifully designed and stylish Greek boutique style hotel. Great for relaxing - the hotel is one of the few hotels that has a beautiful sandy hotel beach and a lovely designed pool area. Plus great service - we especially liked Eva from the reception, the driver George and the restaurant staff. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will be happy to come back again :)

this hotel was a great find! The location is perfect; atmosphere on the beach but not noisy. The hotel is stunning, the staff are excellent (the the owner being always around, working along with his staff , who all spoke very highly of him). The hotel and all around is spotless. Cant recommend this place enough

The restaurant has the best Greek salad. I tried at least 8 different restaurants and this was the best. Everything we ate was outstanding from the pasta and shrimp to the Burger to the Greek salad, etc. The service was excellent. The view is phenomenal, right on the beach. The cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen, there's an attendant who is immaculate in her work- she is there every minute of each day we visited.

I am a big fan of this resort, the staff, and the location as it provides easy access to the beach and has great chairs setup with prompt service. I do have point out that depending on the type of beach you are used to, this could be sub par. The sand is a bit pebbly, but still better than paradise or super paradise beach. If you’re expecting a Caribbean beach with soft white sand and warm water, you’re going to be disappointed. Nonetheless, the views are great but water a bit cold in June.

We went to the beach there, and had lunch at the resort. The beach was amazing and the food was very good. I would definitely recommend it if you are in the area.

Just visited the beach. Used the Elia Resort sun beds in late August (€70 per set which is average for Mykonos) but the service was very good. Gay friendly, further down the beach there is another gay friendly sun bed area and nudist beach.

Fantastic resort on an excellent beach! Staff at this hotel go above and beyond for their guests, it's a family run hotel that clearly takes an interest in their visitors and they provide superb service. The location is awesome and the property takes advantage of it with an open air restaurant that serves great food. There are sun beds for lazing around on the beach and the water is calm in this protected harbor. New property, the rooms are modern and super comfortable. Highly recommended!

This was an excursion from Royal Caribbean. The amenities were very nice, but 50 euro to use the chaise lounges was ridiculously expensive. Most places charge nothing if you order food or drinks.
Winds were high so everything was sandblasted. The closer to the waters edge the more sandblasting.
We ate at the restaurant, food was very good. Nicest and cheapest place to sun at the beach. 😕

We came here from Disney cruise ship.
The service we received was EXCELLENT. Very friendly, so attentive without getting in you face. Everything prompt and to a high standard.
Quality of the sun beds ( with sun shade) is excellent.

We just booked transfer and beach chairs with this hotel, for half a day on their beach. They are about 30' by car from the old port (where cruise ships dock). High end hotel, right on the beach, lovely staff. Everything went smoothly and we enjoyed our time there. We ate at their terrace as well - great place and good food.

It is a tiny bit pricey, but there are buttons at the chairs (35 euro/per bed) to get beachside service for food and drink, showers, clean and nice smelling bathrooms, and really great food and drink. We took a beach transfer from our cruise, which left at 1 o'clock, but we wanted to stay later and the City bus came by at 3:05. The city bus was 3.50 Euros per person back to the port. Highly recommend. I would like to come back and stay at the resort. Gorgeous water. Friendly people.

This lovely resort was our stop during our tour. Unfortunately, we only had 1 hour to look around. Our party of 9 had a delicious late lunch. The service, food, and views were fabulous! The personable staff made sure we would make it to our bus in time. Thank you again!! Next time we are in Mykonos we will definitely come back. 😊

Great little hotel very close to the port. It was very clean and the staff was helpful and prompt. About 30 minutes walk from Mykonos downtown. My only beef was that they tried to be fancy and make a shower with no shower door. Guess what happens.... The whole bathroom floor gets wet and has stayed wet for my whole stay. Because of the high humidity here, I has not dried out

We did a beach day here when our cruise docked for the day in Mikanos. Such a beautiful beach, pristine sands, rent a lounger and get 1st class service straight to where you are chilling on the beach.
The Paradise Beach Resort is a buzzing beachfront resort with a buffet restaurant, a bar and coffee shop. It is most popular on the island for its endless nightlife and attracts A-list celebrities. The beach has some of the best nightspots on Mykonos, with open-aired Cavo Paradiso hosting DJs including David Guetta, Steve Aoki and Armin van Buuren.
The rentals are a little costly but worth the comfort. There didn't seem to be a time limit and there was no requirement to purchase food or beverages. It doesn't get deep really quickly and I scored some great sea glass!! Being off season, it was pretty quiet. We took the bus from Fabrika sq. It stopped right at the beach and we entered through the Tropicana.

Great party beach. They have a large buy one get one free drink list, dance music and platforms to dance on. Lots of VIP booths. Just be careful how much you drink, it's a bit of a walk and the bus brings you back to town, then you need another bus back to where you are staying.
Christine Scotti — Google review
We spend a few hours in April. Only bar was open and a few items to eat. Surprisingly drinks were not very expensive (for Santorini). They were preparing the place to open it in May. But at least we could spend a windy day under the sun having a few drinks.
Service was kind of slow.

One of the most famous beaches in Myknos.
The reviews here are not very accurate if you are visiting in October. The free area fits around 100 people. Its not that small. This means if you dont need sunbeds or cabinets you can sit for free, the prices for such are in one of photos i uploaded. Regarding the weather it was a bit windy, not too much sun but acceptable.
Regarding bars, there is around 4 or 5 bars, at night with music and drinks and so on. The drinks start at 12 euros, however one of them had an offer 2 cocktails for the price of one.
However overall experience, it is a bit overrated if you are not visiting in the high season.
Transportation to the beach is through the bus, which stays available till 12am ( party till 2 am)

The bay is beautiful and quite clear Sea water.
The only problem is the lack of free space if you don't want to hire a sunbed. On the whole location is beautiful in particular if you wanna get a drink and dance already at 17.00 !!!!!! It's a must-see place for all party goers!!!!!

Great beach if you’re looking to party hard!
It is quiet crowded to say the least.
There are two different bars and a few restaurants for you to enjoy at.
We stayed for about 20-30 minutes so can’t say much but definitely nice if you’re part of a young crowd looking to have fun!

This is a beautiful location. Nice seating areas. You can rent very comfy lounge chairs on the beach but quite costly. The pizza was amazing. The only thing I didn't love was how painful the gravel beach was, but my feet are tender.

Beautiful landscape, lots of water sports, expensive beach clubs. Large majority of people who look like models, movie stars, or both. Only a couple small aeas of public space. Very rocky sand. Sea life (probably anemones) that sting. There's gotta be better spots for people on budgets, families, and/or non model types.
Rusty Marquis — Google review
On one hand a tourist trap. It costs 100-80€ to sit on the beach with two lounge chairs and an umbrella and 50€ for the bar poolside and you don’t have the option to sit elsewhere unless you’re on the rocks or a towel in the corner. On only 4 drinks we spent around 70€. On the other hand, the sea water pool and DJ were amazing. In the end I didn’t want to leave but the boat leaves at 15:30 just went the party’s getting started.

The well-known Paradise Beach in Mykonos... It's beautifully appointed, but it's on the higher end of the budget, quite expensive.

Cost of sun beds somewhat exorbitant. Cheapest 25 Euros. Beach somewhat ordinary on international standards. No waves and pebbles actually tough on feet. Facilities very fast food like and not the standard I was expecting. Facilities okay but couldn't find a shower.
Over rated and touristy.
From Australia so spoilt for choice of beaches that are all free!!
The Eclipse Seaside Restaurant is a relaxed establishment with spectacular sea views. They serve a blend of local and Italian cuisine, including pasta, pizza, seafood, and an extensive selection of wine. The beach that the restaurant overlooks is stunningly beautiful and ideal for swimming and sunbathing. The water is crystal clear, allowing you to see the sea floor easily. There's a natural rocky platform that extends outward for several meters before dropping off into deeper waters.
For those who have been scamed on the beach. The restaurant is called dk oyster and is reputed for these kind of things. Sorry for the owner of this restaurant who has suffered because of this.

This place is run by a group of grifters. Was charged 70 euros for a bloody mary. Repeatedly asked for drink menu and refused. They were about to charge us 280 euros for lobster pasta that was listed at 23 euros and served it cold and the lobster was worse than leather. They acted like they were doing us a favor when they knocked the price to 150 euros. The only plus to this restaurant was the chairs and the location but not worth feeling scammed. Next door seemed like a more legit operation with menus and transparent honest communication.

Very nice beach for couples and families... The beach is very nice with crystal clear water and sandy bed.
There are many beach clubs offering sun loungers and umbrellas. The price range for two loungers and one umbrella can vary from 20 euros to 50 euros depending on the beach club (old or new) and proximity to the water. We stayed at Dove beach club on the front row for 50 euros.
However you can simply enter the beach free of charge, put your towel on the sand, and enjoy the full day without paying anything.
What is annoying on the beach are the street vendors going back and forth trying so sell you various kind of merchandise.
This beach is good for families with kids. We saw many with their kids.
There is also a small parking area which you can use free of charge if you arrive early.

A very beautiful beach which is excellent for swimming and sunbathing. The water is very clear and can easily see the sea floor. It has a natural rocky platform which is shallow for a few metres . Just 1 step out of the rocky platform and the water becomes deep and you won't reach the sea floor. There are some bars and cafes right on the beach which offers beach beds and umbrellas.

They promise « free sunbeds » if you take cocktails for 60€ per person ! The waiters don’t want to show the menu to the client. But they don’t know that I usually need a half an hour to choose my cocktail so I took the menu and I saw all their prices.

Be careful here - As a Greek I promise you that you will find welcoming, charming and good-hearted people, serving authentic food and providing quality service, which is worth every single cent, on Mykonos island and beyond. This place though actively scams people and it's deeply rooted in their mindset and business model, as they did to friends of mine recently. Walk pass, support and enjoy the work of honest people, and enjoy your vacations in the land of hospitality!

This is one of the worst rip-off restaurant in the world. Be sure to ask to see the price list before ordering. Be very careful, the waitress lies and tries to sell you simple goods at totally overpriced prices. There is a system to this. This restaurant is a disgrace to Greece.

THE BIGGEST SCAM ON EARTH AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!! My friend and I walked past this beach club and were convinced to come in as it was ‘free’ we only had to order one drink. We were not given any menus after requesting multiple times, the waiter just named cocktails off the top of his head. We then ordered a cocktail each which later on happened to be 130 EUROS!!! We then overhead a group next to us stating they paid 30 euro for the same cocktail. When we questioned the waiter about this he said there drinks were half strength and we were sitting in a better spot although he gave us an option. The waiters then made us extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome and have never experienced anything like this. Don’t know how this place is still open it is a genuine scam and the men that work there are disgusting.

Little Venice, located in Mykonos, is often described as the most romantic and elegant neighborhood on the island. It is a popular spot for sightseeing, dining, and shopping with its charming whitewashed houses built right at the water's edge. The area is known for its fancy restaurants, bars, clubs, boutiques, and gift shops offering unique products. Staying in Mykonos Town provides easy access to Little Venice along with other iconic attractions like the Windmills.
The Windmills of Mykonos are a historical landmark that can be found near Little Venice. They were built by the Venetians in the 16th century and revolutionised the agricultural landscape of the island.
Busy when the crew ships are in town, but it’s a must see spot for sunset with a beautiful view of the harbors, mountains in the distance, and little Venice. Free to enter. Quick to walk around, but windy as anything!

This is the perfect picture spot in Mykonos! The windmills look amazing and it's also a really nice place to find some share and get shelter from the sun. Near the first windmill there's also a souvenir shop which sells more unique things than other shops in the old town so I would recommend checking it out. Also there are a few places around that sell water so stock up here instead of going somewhere more expensive!

If you visit Mykonos Greece you have to visit the windmills of Mykonos. Located right on the beach into center of local restaurants bars and tourist stores alike. Here you will find some of the most authentic food in Mykonos and the freshest fish in the sea. You will get lots of picture opportunities but be sure to bring a jacket if you plan on being here after the sun goes down because it will get chilly. It’s windy in the day so perfect for a sundress picture or a Windy shirt for the guys.

Very windy, fine place to watch sunset. It will get crowded when sun is setting so go a little early if you want a nice picture with the windmills. Here’s a different vantage point on these windmills… we stayed here via Airbnb. Absolutely incredible experience and it was one of the nicest places we stayed while in Greece. The place was so clean and well put together and the location was perfectly located without being around all the loud evening scene of Mykonos. Three stories tall with two (arguably three) bedrooms and three bathrooms, this was the first place we stayed where the air conditioning was as good as what we have in the US. The views were stunning and it was an overall incredible experience. Not terribly expensive either!

It's not much but these windmills are very iconic and maybe the most known landmark in the island. The view is great from here. Watch out: normally a very windy place, as it should be expected and is true for the whole island, by the way. But there's where you get a better view over the bay, specially in the sunset.

My wife and I woke up quite early to take some good photos of this iconic and quite known windmills in Mykonos for our memories and also to share with our friends and loved ones.
We stayed at the city centre so it just took us some few steps to arrive, well a little bit longer due to we shot some photos of the charming and beautiful alleys of Chora without people.
When we arrived to this spot we got astonished by the beautiful landscape and marvelled because we realised we were very, very far from home and on a place too much people would like to be.
This day was not as windy as other days, because, if you do not know, the location of this windmills was strategically set due to most of the time is very windy here, so, we could get some beautiful shots with our camera, our mobile and some aerials with our drone.
These windmills were used in early days to grind grains like Wheat, Corn, Bulgur, Semolina or Barley which are used in the traditional Greek cuisine to prepare dishes like Greek country bread, Cretan rusks, Katsimaki, Bobota and Pilaf.
The five windmills are in good shape and well maintained, in contrast with other windmills you can find along Greece.
You can approach, sit back and take your photos, just try be early to have the place just for you.
There is a small gift shop in the place named Mytho that sales greek traditional products if you want to buy some souvenirs.
The attraction here are the windmills and the landscape view of the bay which is beautiful without the bustling of people.
We heard that you can stay at this beautiful windmills via Airbnb, but it is not a fact.

Whether you're admiring them from afar or taking a leisurely stroll among them, the windmills exude a timeless elegance that's truly captivating. As the sun sets, casting a golden hue over the landscape, the scene becomes even more magical. A visit to the windmills is a must for anyone seeking to experience the beauty and romance of Greece.

Must see and must watch sunset!
An iconic spot. Absolutely delightful if you can manage to catch the sunset without crowds.

Nice place, right by the beach. Would suggest to watch sunset by the restaurant for an amazing view

Bit disappointing actually, they're historical, but not much to look at. Quick photo is about all I got from it. Saying that not much else to do off-season in Mykonos but to take pics, the views are spectacular.
Parikia, the main port and capital of Paros island, is a prime example of a typical Cycladic settlement. Its unique features include narrow cobbled paths, traditional churches, quaint shops, and houses painted in the classic blue and white colors found throughout Greece's Cyclades islands.
65% as popular as Naxos Town
1 minute off the main route, 80% of way to Mykonos Town
I'll never travel to Mykonos Town without this trip planner again
We stayed in the family suite and it was perfect for our family of 5. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well kept and have a spacious area for eating outdoors or playing games. The hotel has a beautiful view of the sea with a sandy beach and bar within walking distance from the hotel. The owner George was kind and helpful. He was a great host helping us determine places to explore and set us up with a great car service! We will be back next time we’re in Greece!

Excellent stay in a cozy hotel with a great view. We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel.
Very clean rooms and supper close to beach Marcello.
Would definitely stay at this hotel again!
Thank you super team!

Went to their beach bar at 17:00 and had to pay 20€ for a set of sunbeds with an umbrella which was OK.. As I receive the bill I have noticed that the date of the bill was almost 3 hours earlier.. Then we orderd two cups of coffee and checked again the bill and guess what.. The bill was wrong again. Date of almost 6 hours earlier.. Tax avoidance paradise at its best..

To save you from a long (albeit - worth it) read, I’ll summarize: any future visits to Greece will be to Paros, staying at Paradiso Boutique Hotel. It was by far one of the best experiences we’ve had, from location to hospitality. 10/10.
We had the most incredible stay, with the only downside being we wish we could’ve stayed longer. My husband and I arrived in Paros on a Sunday afternoon. Once the ferry dropped us off at the main port, we easily transferred to a small ferry (basically a water taxi) which transferred us to Marcello beach within 10 minutes. Upon arrival, we walked no more than 8 minutes (along the beach) to Paradiso Boutique Hotel (incredibly accessible!)
Upon arrival, we were greeted so warmly, shown to our room, shown where breakfast would be, and were told if we needed anything at all, not to hesitate to ask.
Owners, George and Filip, quickly started to feel like life-long friends. Both Monday and Tuesday we had dinner reservations in different towns within Paros. Filip was able to offer discounted transportation on both days (a huge win on any of the Greek Islands) and offered informative and meaningful conversations along the way.
On Wednesday, due to strong winds, the boat tour we had scheduled was cancelled. We wound up relaxing at Cabana beach club that day, where we mentioned to Filip we’d love if he could join us. To our pleasant surprise, he arrived with George and friends later in the afternoon where they joined us for drinks, dancing, and a great time. They introduced us to other friends and family, and we soon realized we were welcomed as a part of their local community.
Overall, we are lucky enough to have seen this beautiful island and meet friends that we hope to keep for years to come. It is clear this is not a business, but a passion and love for George and Filips community.

What a wonderful stay at this hotel. George, Phillipe and the entire staff made us feel so welcome. They had great tips on places to go and eat. Helped us with our car rental and mapped out all the places we should see. We loved the location and the beach was perfect. The hotel os super clean and the breakfast is great. The beach bar restaurant in front is great if your in the mood for some music and chair and umbrella rentals are possible , a couple minutes further down are more chair and umbrella rental and quiet atmosphere and also cheaper. There is also places you can just lay on the beach for free. I notice some reviews on the hotel are about the beach bar restaurant and to be clear they have nothing to do with the hotel. The only thing they have in common is beach access which is fantastic and so close so I’m not sure why they would give the hotel a bad review. The hotel also has its own parking lot so no need to try and use the one for the beach bar. We hope to come back and stay again!

Immaculate rooms, clean and spacious, recently renovated. The hotel has a beautiful view of the bay and the town of Parikia. Helpful and hospitable staff.

My Wife and I booked a room for our stay in Paros, everything was amazing. From beginning to end we felt like special guests here because of the care of George and his staff.
George went above and beyond, he made sure to procure a scooter that was not only safe but brand new, something he does for all his guests. We highly recommended to rent a scooter through George.
Our experience was unforgettable and, we highly recommend staying at the Paradiso if you want a great location with amazing views and only a short ride to Paraikos.
Amazing stay, thank you George and team.

We have spent 3 days in August in Paradiso Boutique. We have really enjoyed our time there. The rooms, the common area and the location of this hotel was great. We are definitely looking forward to going back and would recommend to everyone.
But the best thing about this hotel was the owner. He was very attentive to all our needs, all his recommendations were tailored to our taste. We can not thank him enough!

To celebrate our honeymoon with my wife, we wanted to go to Paradiso Boutique and its beach to have a great time.
Unfortunately, as soon as we arrived by scooter at Paradiso Boutique and its beach, the car park guard made us understand that we were not welcome, what a shame...
This man was probably a member of staff and was aggressive and vehement...
What a welcome....
When we were simply being nice to him
Shocked by such behaviour we turned back to change the beach...
We were able to enjoy our bottle of wedding champagne on another beach...
This is a negative comment, but it is informative to warn future potential clients and also this establishment that their parking attendant deserves to be sacked...
Thank you for your understanding and please put this message to good use.
The Cave of Antiparos, located about 10km south of the port, is a huge and atmospheric cave that has remained impressive despite past looting of stalactites and stalagmites. Visitors can descend the 400-plus concrete steps into the well-lit cave to experience its enthralling atmosphere. The cave is known for ancient graffiti from past visitors, with one dating back to 1776. It's recommended to beware of the climb out!
Great fun.
Approximately 400 stairs to go down and then again up.
You can see everyone exhausted after getting out. Very nice cardio test.
Beautiful inside, with stalagmites and stalactites.

Really interesting to visit if you can! Lots of walking down into the cave and back up though so be ready with water. Cost 5€ per person in 2022.

Wow, we had quite the adventure at Antiparos Cave! Breathtaking sights and trying not to get blown away by the wind! It's fascinating how those mini rock sculptures stayed intact.
Careful going down the caves steps, I did end up slipping down a few steps but luckily I didn’t get hurt. Going down into the cave was an incredible experience, even though it left us a bit out of breath on the way back up.
Funny story: I accidentally left my glasses on the bottom of the cave and only noticed once it was closed. We had to travel back and forth between Paros and Antiparos the next day to find them. A fellow Canadian was able to grab them for me. So we had quite the journey in Greece, full of memorable moments! 🇬🇷✨

Exciting cave to experience, well worth a visit. Keep in mind it is relatively hard to get back up depending on your shape, even though there are very nice and easy stairs to walk on all the way. Easy parking just a minute from the entrance. Around €20 entrance fee for a family.
Roy-Andre Tollefsen — Google review
Amazing is just enough to describe it. From the port out there is a bus that is taking you all the way up. Entrance is €5

Oldest stalactites in Europe, dating more than 45 million years old. There is plenty of car parking at the entrance. It is easy to find as there are good road markings and sign. The panoramic views from the site are also very beautiful. Entrance is ticketed and can be purchased on site. There is one way in and same way out route. Lots of steep stairs so be prepared for that.

Truly fascinating cave that is well maintained and easily accessible. Lots of great history and very deep.

Worth visiting(The videos are not doing justice to it). Entry is not allowed for those with heart diseases ,breathing problem, special needs and pregnant women!
The cave was used as a refuge during Neolithic period and later on became a cult place of Goddess Artemis. The cave's entrance is named "prothalamos" antechamber] and is divided in 3 levels.
You get a better view of the cave when climbing up. Climbing up can be exhausting, so take your time and admire the cave more. READ THE TRACT BEFORE ENTERING THE CAVE because it’s like your cave guide!
Ample place to park before getting to the cave;not far and no fee. To enter the Cave, adults pay fee 5€ each, adults over 65yrs old pay 2,50€, children from 6-12years pay 2,50€ and kids are free. If you come in groups of 15 persons, you pay 4€. YOU BUY THE TICKET RIGHT AT THE GATE OF THE CAVE BEFORE ENTERING!
The cave was cool in summer!

Amazing experience. This cave have the most older stalagmite in the world (42 million years old). There is an entrance fee 5 euro that is totally worth it. As you decent you fill the air pressure so if you have difficulty breathing please stay at the upper portion. The temperature down there is constantly 16 - 17 Celsius. The maximum decent is about 100m. Great experience

Ohhhh my GOD!!!!! Amazing that, you are able to get, that up-close and personal, to something 50 million years old. The stairs leading to the bottom of the cave are a work of wonder. A magnificent piece of engineering that intertwines with mother nature’s beauty. Even I, a 60+ year old person with a bad hip and knees was able to slowly walk through the wonderful world of the cave 400 plus steps to the very bottom. There are, Endless possibilities for resting and photographing this amazing place. This is a significant site that you could enjoy time and time again. But if you are only going to visit AntiParos once in your lifetime. THIS IS A MUST SEE!
Gerard Studer — Google review
Such a cool and memorable experience! It was so much fun exploring the cave and looking at the stalactite formations. Just be aware that the climb back up can be quite tiring, but it's definitely worth it if you can handle it. They let us enter for free too (April 2023).

A really cool place to visit while going to Antiparos. Please do keep in mind that you will have to walk a lot of stairs (500) up and down. Sometimes it gets really crowded.
Ticket to the Folklore museum was included in the price but it was closed.

Very cool place. If you visit the island, def check this place out. You do have to take 400 steps down and then 400 steps back up. It’s not accessible to anyone that doesn’t have mobility. Brochure does give alot of information about the cave and it’s history.
Paul Cheema — Google review
The old graffiti is truly the coolest, and it's worth the drive out to the center of the island to check it out. You probably don't need to trek all the way to the bottom to get the full effect of the cave, but it took less time to walk up all those steps than we anticipated. Wear sturdy shoes!
Jessica Griscti — Google review
This is a once in a lifetime experience, if you have the opportunity to visit these caves you will remember it for the rest of your life. Remembered as a temple to the ancient God Artemis, and a site included in the story, The Odyssey. You will feel different the moment you enter and it may change you forever.
Kolimvithra beach, located on the north coast of Tinos island in the Cyclades, offers a laid-back and bohemian atmosphere along with a thriving surf scene. The Aegean winds create ideal conditions for surfing, making it a popular spot for beginners. However, due to the consistent winds, swimming may not always be suitable, so it's best to check with locals before heading out.
Perfect beach, perfect location.. 30 minutes from Chora.. Also the beach bar there was perfect with very good vibes 💯💯
George Kiritsis — Google review
It could have been a great experience, with nice music and a nice scenery... it turned out as an extremely dirty beach. Based on the barman at the local beach bar, it's due to the rain. It rained 3 days ago and this was how the beach looked today. A guy from freaking Ecuador had to save a turtle which was entangled in a plastic bag. And 4 wonderful ladies started cleaning up the beach from all the plastic waste.. kudos to those 5 humans and a huge disgrace to the own who is in charge of the beach.

Stunning! Very popular beach especially among locals! Often very windy but the bar/van and the mushroom shape umbrellas makes everything look so stylish!

Tinos has many beaches as an island in the Cyclades, but this beach, despite the strong north wind, is so beautiful that it is definitely worth visiting !

Very nice beach, private and public ones.
The private one was 20 euros for a 2 sunbeds and an umbrella

Natural beach with open sand and nice setting, the beach bar is the best in Tinos with great music and bohemian vibe. Never overcrowded and during windy days, the waves are huge and beautiful to watch. There is also shelter for the wind at the beach bar so everyone could chill and dance along the music and mingle. Probably the best spot on the island to mingle with cool locals and international beach lovers.

The view of this beach is worth it! It is an amazing looking one. Rocks on both sides, hills behind, nice waves in front of your eyes!
If you have kids, go to it in the afternoon, when the winds cool down and keep in mind that it is a pebble one and that it does get deep quite fast.
There are a few mushroom like umbrellas (cute ones) and a beach bar (haven't used it, so no idea about the facilities).
Seems to be a good place for surfing.

According to some people, this is the best beach of the island. We were unlucky when we went there because it was too windy but it is definitely a very nice beach. You can either use your own umbrella or rent a set of sunbeds and an umbrella from the beach bar.
All in all, a really nice beach, 5 stars, recommended!
d0rian7 — Google review
Big beach, windy in which at some point there is no option to swim, it has plenty space and big waves which is better to surf, although at the opposite side of the stairs close to the mountain the wind is less as well the waves and better to swim, I liked but not to spent all day here, also there wasn't clean.
Tony Calderon — Google review
Ok, not a bad beach but not the best in Tinos and often affected by the wind. Raw, natural scene will appeal to many but for a swim when the wind blows Micro Kolimvithra is a better option and there are beds & umbrellas to hire whereas there isn’t much shade at Kolimvithra. Visit once but I wouldn’t be going more than once, better option is Agios Romanos on the Southern side & less affected by the winds that often blow over Tinos.
T- Lam — Google review
Clear water but a small beach. One can enjoy swimming and sunbathing if the weather is good. Usually in Tinos island there is always wind. Depending the wind direction this place is not always the place to swim. Ask the local people if it is ok to go and swim there if windy. Take with you water and snacks. Very important not to forget an umbrella otherwise the sum will turn you in to a red fried tomato. You need a car go get there from the Center of the island.
The city hall of Ermoupolis is a building disigned by Ernest Tsiller and been constructed between 1875 and 1891.The impresion that this beautiful building leaves you is that it looks more like a palace! Don t hesitate going inside and explore all the floors. Its free!! There is a small cafe also in the ground floor. Definitely recommend this place while you visit Syros

Built in 1876 under the supervision of Ernst Ziller, the Town Hall of Ermoupolis on Miaouli square is one of the largest and most impressive Town Halls in all of Greece totally made in marble. Other noteworthy elements of the Town Hall are the hanging ladder at the entrance, the bust of D. Bafiadakis, the boardroom and the portraits of former mayors.
The Town Hall houses the courts, the land registry, the archaeological museum and various other public bodies and municipal services which are open to the public from Monday to Friday from 8:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs.
If you have some time, do not forget to go inside and take a walk along.

An old, renovated building is used for city clerks. The district court is also sitting here. Neoclassical and Rainessance architectural details are visible in the building. It is not big either impressive, but interesting to see as a piece of the modern Greece life.

A very beautiful building designed by Tsiller. It is one of the main landmarks of Ermoupolis, located in the main square of the town. This should be the first place to visit if you find yourselves in Syros, even for a couple of hours. 5 stars, highly recommended!

(Translated by Google) What an excellent beach, with incredible waters. It has sand inside and outside and is big enough that even with people it won't drown. It has organized and unorganized sections. It also has umbrellas placed free of charge by the municipality. Here you can also do various water activities if you want with inflatables or pedal boats. Fortunately, it has many parking spaces and various shops if you want to eat something after your bath.
