This park/monument is one of the tourist destinations in Bandar Lampung.

I'll give it tree stars, but only because they have one. The size and the placement is a joke looking at the disasters that Krakatau has had on, not only lampung, but the region in itself. 1000 and 1000 of people died or injuried by the outbreak through history.
Go and honour the people that lost life, the people that had homes and lifesaving taken away .. remember the past and power of nature.
Lampung ... You can do better than that .. right ?

One of the hidden paradise in lampung, the water is cristal clear, there is spot for snorkeling diving camping homestay and dolphin, the minus facility is the toilet is clogged, need to cross the sea and rent a boat to arrive in kiluan, it is about 30-40k/person for rent boat and tikets, recommended
Zulkurnain Sholihin — Google review
I’ve visited this place many times, I will always give 5 and recommend to everyone! Visit here after hunting some dolphins and we can snorkel
Anandhia Xaviera — Google review
If you want to see some of dolphins you can visit this island. You should come in early morning at 5 a.m to see dolphins by small boat.
Rudi Wang — Google review
Went here with my friend, we don't know anything about the transportation there and got scam when in the terminal (lampung). We know something is not right, but we can't help it but paid because we were too scared..
FYI, if you went to kiluan with backpacker kind of thing, please listen: travel is not travel agent like we used to know in Lampung. Travel means shuttle! And if you want to go there you need to found the the travel by asking the local or someone who knows about lampung. Be carefull as there are a lot scammer there.
Usually it cost only 100k for one way to kiluan (2015), but when i went there the scammer asked me to paid 300k. We know we got scam after we were in the shuttle and asking the driver itself aabout the actual price.
Afterall, kiluan is nice and has many thing to see like the dolphin.

Pantai Sari Ringgung is a delightful destination for those looking to indulge in water sports and beachside dining. Boat trips to a floating mosque and offshore sandbar also make for an adventurous experience. It's an ideal half-day trip location with options such as banana boat rides, island hopping via chartered boats, or simply relaxing at the small café. The viewpoint is accessible by just a 10-minute walk or driving up by car.
The best as well as the nearest from Bandar Lampung/ Radin Intan 2 Airport. Try also to take a boat to Pahawang Island where you can feel at heaven
Toar Sutomo — Google review
Nice place for a half day trip. you can go to the beach, ride banana boat (quiet short) or charter a boat to the small islands, they have a small Cafe where you can hang out, and there is also a view point which takes you about 10 minutes to walk, you can also take the car to the top

lots of rubbish all over the place, on land and in the sea. They ask fees for everything, but all is in poor condition.
The breach sand has many sharp stones, so it is not very nice. The wather is muddy, and very warm.
There are lot's of little crabs, so it's a lot of fun to catch them with kids.

First time visit lampung and went to this beach. Beautiful view from puncak indah. Road still not good and entrance fee little bit expensive for me they charge us Rp.100.000 / car and rent gazebo for Rp.50.000 . No wonder not so many people here . But okelah view very nice
Adventurous Annisa — Google review
Nice view from here. Nice spot actually. Unfortunately, this tourism area are not well organized. Entrance fee is IDR 40.000 for small car, IDR 80.000 for medium car. The road to the beach from the entrance gate is still not good. Not recommend for a sedan. We can rent the gazebo at this beach IDR 100.000 per gazebo (its too expensive I think). There is a toilet and shower room with the rent cost IDR 3.000 per person. Less food stall.

Beautiful beach at Pesawaran Lampung.. lot of parking space.. tourist have to pay about 85 thousand rupiah for 5 persons + 1 car.. there is a seafood restaurant in there.. unique floating mosque.. perfect for family holiday.. no hotels or resort.. the road is not so good to go there.. its about 40 minutes from Bandar Lampung..

Reccomended beach in Lampung. Clean, the water is so clear and blue. Around 5 minutes using boat cross to a small islands with beautiful sands and beautiful view. It's so spoil my eyes. Beside that, there is float mosque.
Melisart Studio — Google review
A clear water with white sand and some playground on and off the water and many facilities you can get here. I will say it a large area so you can bring a group people to come here. There is also cafe and mini hood and you can see the fisheries activity here. Place is awesome.
Agung Kemit — Google review
though seems very popular among locals, it's more or less quite awful in my opinion. the road was simply just dirt. becomes mud when rainning. no proper toilets, meals, parking space. the water was murky. the beach was rocky.

Krakatoa
Volcano
Nature & Parks
Mountains
Part of an active volcanic island chain in the Sunda Strait known for a massive eruption in 1883.
It is really relaxing and majestic, the water surrounding the volcanic island was hot as bathwater with the beaches having warm black sand, word of advice it is easy to vomit while travelling by water so be ready when going there, it is important to follow the guides instructions and follow them where they go and listen to them ,go on days where the activity of the volcano is low to be safe on the trip and you can wear flip flops if you want but be careful for small rock as they could be sharp thats what I did no need for any special shoes or hiking experience just a small ~250m walk, the different islands have different water colours(blue, clear, green, and turquoise).

Radityo Didot — Google review
I decided to book the tour to anak Krakatau on a very short term. It was quite expensive because the tour was for 5 ppl and we were only three. The positive thing was that we got personalised service, special attention and plenty of drinks.
The weather was a bit foggy, quite sunny and the sea quiet. Our captain was a very experienced boat driver and our tour guide informative and helpful. He told us some of Krakatoa 's history and showed us the huge machine that measured seismographic and geological activities. Each time you will find Krakatoa and the crater in a different shape.
The sea was dirty with plastic trash and the crew needed to stop several times to remove the rubbish from the engine. The boat ride was enjoyable, we saw Rakata island and anak Krakatau from a distance and got very exited as we approached the volcano island.
We did a small hike to see the volcano island and then a gentle climb to the sulphur-covered crater. Since the Krakatoa shrank, the caldera was not filled with water. Ana, Villa Stefan's manager and the youngest of us all, had muscle pain for a few days after the hike because she never exercised. Old women like us walk and exercise a lot, so we were just fine after the climb.
After the actual tour, we stopped at a small beach on Rakata Island. This island was left over after the huge explosion in the late 19th century causing the whole volcano to be dissolved. Rakata has more vegetation and quite shady to relax. In the afternoon we returned to Carita beach where I parked my car.
Beautiful tour I couldn't miss although it was very expensive for 2 people

Menara Siger
Monument
Sights & Landmarks
Observation Decks & Towers
Celebrating local heritage, a yellow-&-red, crown-shaped tower on a hill, with ocean & harbor views.
Siger Tower, known in the Indonesian language as Menara Siger, is a tower which is the zero point in southern Sumatra. It can be seen clearly when entering the port .Siger" derives its name from the traditional customary hat for brides in Lampung's culture. The tower is colored yellow and red, representing the golden color of the bride's traditional hat. The tower is also in the form of a crown and consists of nine series which symbolizes the nine languages of Lampung. The building is also decorated with Tapis, the traditional Lampung cloth. . The location of the Siger Tower is on the Limestone Hill of Bakauheni Village, Bakauheni District, South Lampung, Lampung Province, with a height of about 110 meters above sea level

This is the landmark we can see when arriving at Bakauheni port. It looks majesty from afar. I visited today, the building looked miserable and dirty though around it had beautiful sea scenery. We needed to bought the ticket for idr 20k at the entrance gate. The ticketing person interviewed us where we came from, what would we do in Lampung, etc. Well, kinda uncomfortable that was none of his business. But good news from another ticketing person, the site was in renovation. I hope the progress goes well and has good result.

This is the historical place to visit in Anyer. The place was well maintained, it is on the same complex of KPLP-Govt office.
BUT the drawback was expensive parking fee and no standard, for non local they charged more. NO RECEIPT. I Paid 50 thousand for the parking but some say price was actually 30 thousand for car and 50 thousand for bus. After you paid this parking then no other entrance ticket.
They applied as they wish and no receipt. After all, the place is good to visit to see the rebulilt light house and Zero Km of Daendels Road.

The Lighthouse and anyer’s zero km is at the same area. No ticket entrance fee is applied only the parking fee we must pay. The entrance is from Pantai Mercusuar Bojong, Anyer. Cottage hotel, imbued with Waterpark (both private for hotel guest and for paid public) near beach Area. Here's my wooden room stays experiences :
Pros:
+ Very Large hotel complex
+ not to pricey
+ unique cottage style, cool AC, large room for wooden room type,
+ Quite room
+ toilet has water sprinkler
+ Friendly staff (except they don't except my lower price proposal)
+ Restaurant has tasty foods
+ waterpark for hotel guest only
+ "private" Beach, defended by wave protector or something..but small area, al lot of trash
+ Has tasty ayam pecel in front of this hotel, (look for alfa/indomaret)
Cons:
- toilet has minimum light
- noisy geckos, even they hide behind wall paintings
- poorly maintained beach area

Stayed for 1 night in Bamboo Village
Pros:
1. Private Pool for Hotel guests with nice view
2. Breakfast and Dinner is provided for Hotel guests.
3. Big public water boom.
Cons:
1. Lot of mosquitoes inside our room of stay, drainage of the bathroom seems to be the cause. Staff gave us a mosquito spray and it did fix the problem, but shouldn't be like that at the first place.
2. The Beachfront is not maintained well especially on the Bamboo Village side, so many trash laying around, maybe related to point 1.
3. The lack of coordination on Restaurant service, arriving tad a bit late = food already runs out. The quantity should've been estimated better.
4. No hot water line in Bamboo Village, not a huge problem personally but the tap has hot/cold switch, making it only hanging on 1 cold water pipe.
Hans Kurniawan Ghozalli — Google review
a unique staycation concept, the rooms are like we are entering a unique wooden house on the edge of a lake. the atmosphere at night, moreover, is cool. Unfortunately, it's very regrettable, the beach is not sloping and not comfortable, if we expect to sit on the sand to see the sunset, it seems that we need another location.

Masjid Agung Banten is a 16th-century mosque with a noticeable tower that serves as a reminder of the old port city of Banten. It is an ideal place for a quick escape to pray, although it can be overly crowded at times. The mosque itself is immaculately clean and holds significant religious importance. However, there is room for improvement in managing the surrounding environment to enhance visitors' overall experience.

Stasiun Rangkasbitung
Train station
Transportation
Mass Transportation Systems
This Is The Westernmost Station Of The Commuter Line. It's A Relatively Small Station With Very Few Food Tenants. There Aren't Many Trains Here. The Station Is Also Used To Connect To Merak.
Nicholas Ivan — Google review
A very old station, started operation on July 1, 1900! Pretty well-maintained, but, they didn't do much on adding the facilities. Only 2 toilets available (one for each), causing long lines after every arrival.
Helpful tenants in the area, mini market, snack (Roti'O), and meal (CFC and Hi Cups).
Pramuaji Pramono — Google review
The last station of KRL green line. Rangkasbitung station is one of the main access for tourist to visit the famous Baduy village. The station is clean and relatively discipline. There is a CFC restaurant. The station is located near the market and a walking distance to get to the terminal to continue your commute using bus or Angkot. Train depart from here every hour. Usually packed during daytime.
Raka Ikrar — Google review
It's the most western station point in Electric Commuter Line. You can go further to Merak by local train from here. One of the historical train stations, as you can see old ornament bulding in here. Since the location near traditional market, the outside station is very crowded and clumpsy. It should be upgraded and renovated more.
Reza — Google review
One of the busiest railway station in Banten. Helpful staff, clean place, fixed schedule. Unfortunately this station is small. Very crowded, many people going to Jakarta from this small station. Need improvement next time.
Rizqy Unggul — Google review
A big and historic train station. It isthe station whereyou need a transit to merak by railways. Electric commuter line ended here and you may take the diesel local train to merak. A nice and clean musholla available here. Clean toilet also available. Food stall exist in case of passengers need something to eat.
salahuddin muhammad — Google review
The station is quite comfortable both for waiting for local trains and for KRL to Jakarta. The security guard is also informative in providing information regarding train departures. There are also several food and beverage stands at the station. So when waiting for the train you don't need to be afraid to look for food.
There are 2 train services at this station. The first is the KRL with the final destination at Tanahabang station, and the Merak Local Train with the final destination at Merak station.
The KRL journey from Rangkasbitung to Tanahabang takes approximately 1 and a half hours. Btw, to make it easier to order tickets, you can use the Kai Access application service. Payment can also be made with QRIS. For KRL itself, use emoney or KMT.
Alvin Abner — Google review
The train station is very very crowded, last destination station for commuter line Jabodetabek from Tanah Abang. The station is like other commuter line station, and there is no spacious parking lot, many food stalls in front of the station.
Triyanto Prabowo — Google review
The last stop in KRL's Rangkasbitung Line. You need to stop here and change to other train if you want to go to Serang, Cilegon & Merak.

Pari island
Island
Nature & Parks
Picturesque island with lush nature trails, white-sand beaches & clear waters popular with divers.
Beautiful island! Recommended🏝 very pretty and clean island. The water has a beautiful blue gradient. You will not regret coming here. Don't forget to snorkel here, there are several stalls here, no need to worry. The toilet is there but sometimes the water comes out very little, so make sure to turn on the tap before taking a shower. I came here for only one day trip, but it was so impressive, I only snorkeled without playing banana boat. The journey from the pier of Muara Kamal is quite far, the travel time is around 2.5 hours. Tiring but really enjoyed every trip. Have fun.
Ervira Sari — Google review
Pari Island is a hidden gem just off the coast of Jakarta. With its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush greenery, it's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The snorkeling and diving opportunities are fantastic, allowing you to explore vibrant coral reefs teeming with marine life. While the facilities are basic, the natural beauty of the island more than makes up for it. Just a short boat ride away, Pari Island offers a serene retreat for those looking to relax and reconnect with nature.
Gaksa Gantara — Google review
It is a beautiful Island, near jakarta.
I could enjoy to spend my time here during the vacation.
riesna bohnsack — Google review
A good destination to release stress that not far from jakarta. White sands, crystal clear water, friendly environment, and the blue sky will let yourself relax for a while. A bit crowd here when you come on weekend. The negative thing is, there are so many guesthouse that not maintained well. However, there still a good one but you have to ensure that yours is the good one so you can enjoy this island better.

Pari Island...
Hmmm i think they have good view, nice beach and clean beach.
But i fell there is something missing.
But I don't know what .
They don't have hotel or cottage for you can stay, but you can stay and sleep in houses for rent( Home Stay)
They serve bicycle to help you take a trip around the island.
So far good i think, the people are also nice and friendly.
Recommend to come here!
Ps. If you want to come here don't forget to bring sun screen or sun block.

The Island was so good, beautiful beach. 2 Days 1 Night is enought. Just 1 Hour from Marina Bay
WillemThan — Google review
The island is pretty good. There are two beaches that can be visited. There are virgin beaches and star beaches. Virgin Beach is good for swimming, and there are some good photo spots. We can also see the sunrise. At Bintang Beach, we can see and hold sea stars.
Veiz — Google review
One of a very beautiful island at jakarta, thousand island archipelago. It is located at southern part of pulau seribu,
At pari island you can enjoy every inch of it without doing some hopping to the other island
pulau pari known of its virgin beach which is really beautiful and have a good white sand
You can also do some water sports and kayaking around the mangrove forest🔥
There are lots of bungalow and rooms you can rent, either rent it at spot or use ecommerce ❤️
If you seek for an island near jakarta where you dont have to do island hopping to enjoy the beach, pari island is the correct choice👍

Nice and clean destination spot, especially perawan beach.
Loved to take some snorkeling journey in here. Has many beautiful coral and fish.
But you need to search for homestay if u want stay for couple days.
John Andersen — Google review
Pari Island is a small island about 1 hr from Jakarta. The ferry goes from Ancol Marina, but there is only one a day, leaving at 8am and departing about 3.30, so good for a day trip if you don't want to stay overnight. I didn't pre-book my ticket, but that was no problem. I could imagine that on a weekend it could be more of a problem. The Island is small and you can easily walk from one end to the other. I spent most of the day, after exploring, at the beach. I was the only tourist there most of the time. Recommended.
Philip WB — Google review
Took around 2hrs by ship like small ship. From Port Angke to pari shore. Silent wave and surprisingly there’s a lot of seller like in capital city. I love the children there, cz they’re attractive and there’s warm dweller

Beautiful island, amazing snorkeling journey with beautiful corals and cute colorful fishes! Cycling here is very nice too.
Talking about seafood, damn it's more than delicious, it's addictive.
I will definitely come back here.
It only took me 2 hours from North Jakarta, affordable tour price.
If you come here, make sure you do the travelling. Come to Bintang island also, the stars are beautiful, mangrove is awesome, people are friendly. You may come back to your hometown, but your heart will remains there.

Telaga Biru Cisoka is a well-known tourist spot that features several interconnected lakes, which were once a quarry. This place has gained popularity among visitors due to its picturesque scenery and the availability of street food vendors offering delicious local cuisine. The lakes are surrounded by lush greenery, creating an ideal atmosphere for photography and relaxation.
A lake with water effect like green or blue. Not well managed but something have a beautiful scenery. CMIIW, Thank you
RIZKI SANJAYA — Google review
Too bad, the water on the lakes isn't blue like i saw at the google. Maybe because when i went there, the sky was cloudy. I asked other people there, they said usually the water on the lakes is blue. So pay attention to the weather if you want to go there. And i think it's easier if you come with your own personal vehicle.
juan nita (juannita) — Google review
Need more creative spot to attract more Traveller. And the food stall should be relocated back away so as the view is more clean
Pradnya Rajendra — Google review
This place is actually unique, offbeat, and relatively cheap. Like Tebing Koja, this place is located far away from mayor road. Road access to this site is really narrow, just enough of one car. Public transportation to there is quite difficult.
Formerly a quarry, this site is overrun with scattered food stalls.
There are several ponds here, several of them colored turquoise blue.
Best come here before noon, because the weather can be really hot at midday.
Cita Pertiwi — Google review
If you happened to be around Tangerang, visiting this place would be nice. It's only an hour driving to see the blue sky and quiet place. Not much to see tho. The road there are accessible for cars. Entrance ticket 10K IDR plus parking 10K IDR. Boat ride for pictures taking will cost you another 10K.
Claudia Winata — Google review
Its not maintained and its definitely not blue... Funny thing is, i used to went here and everything looks really vast wide open, but now its just a bunch of small kiosk and native villagers who try to make a living. The fee to get here relatively cheap, i think its around Rp. 15.000, but the cost to get here is totally cdifferent story... If you're using a motorbike, shouldn't be a problem, but if you're using a car, the MPV car, well... Its a one half car track (for a small city car), you may pray that no car is blocking or going towards your way. So should you visit this site? Its safe for me to say 'skip' no matter youre a foreign tourist or native. Go to Quarry Lake is a better bet to find your zen.
Putera Ryu — Google review
It's quite good place to escape from heavy daily activities...

MPPA Digital Marketing — Google review
As it name, this mall ever hold a title “the biggest mall” in Indonesia and it still big, and keep expanding to reach more traffic. What I like is they still have shops with brands that are hard to find in other malls, such as Bata, Fila, Grebe which are filled with several local shoes brands and also several local distro brands there. So many parking lot, but my suggestion is to visit at low peak, because this mall is might be the reason for local resident to hang out, so high traffic on weekend or high season. But its worth to visit, especially it has the biggest Timezone too, or at least at that time.
The Scientia Square Park is an urban green space that offers a variety of recreational activities for visitors to enjoy. The park features a jogging track, climbing wall, skate park and ping-pong center, as well as a koi farm where guests can observe various animals. Families looking for fun weekend activities can take advantage of the affordable admission price during the early morning hours from 6-8am. Additionally, there are scheduled feeding times and attractions available for viewing.
On the weekend, 6-8am only pay 30k/person, for 1 day ( go out and come again with the ticket). We can enjoy a lot of activities here. We also can meet a lot of animals. Thet also have schedules for feeding animals or see the attraction. Recommend places to spend with the family
Melia Lim — Google review
I'd say this is a one-stop-solution for a family hangout destination.
There's so many outdoor space filled with cafe & restaurants to enjoy the day;
You got Samsat to renew your driver license;
You got skate park;
You got a climbing wall;
You got a farm;
You got a mini zoo with unique & rare animals;
You got a horse riding area;
You got—I think it's better you just come and experience it yourself.
One thing to note is this is mostly an open space area, meaning you should consider the weather to make sure you visit here not on a rainy day.
Parking space is divided into several section, you can park near Al-Azhar (but here is very limited, can only accommodate up to 10 cars, I guess); or you can enter from the other gate from which you can access their basement parking area.

Len Ai — Google review
The size of the park is not big and you will need to purchase ticket to enter the park. Come visit on weekdays if you can, because the price is half cheaper than the weekend. They have several animal for kids to see, pet and ride, but some pet area required extra entry fee to enter. There is also horse riding for kids, wall climbing, skateboard area, etc. Not bad for a short walk but not much to see. The park is attached to a small mall and there is McDonald's too outside the park.
Vieren Chen — Google review
Perfect place for your weekend Gateaway.
+ many thing that your child can explore in the park. Education and physical activities.
- we come on Saturday. And there's a really loud live music in the afternoon. With classic Rock. Which was just too much. Or maybe it's just me.
Sofyan Jusuf (Piank) — Google review
Very nice, clean and quiet. Medium sized. Very suitable for family. Easy to walk and have wall climbing also. Recommended place.
yenpinng c — Google review
For people with kids, i think this place would be awesome. You can consider it as a very small and limited zoo. There are also small waterpark, skateboard field, wall climbing, ATV zone, paddy fields, and a few things more on top of the animal farm.
Kids can play and interact with all the animals here, and also learn the cultivating processes and all, which serves the very purpose of the place.
Amongst the animals i saw are: dogs, pony, horses, owls, alpaca, bison, buffalo, tortoise, etc.
The entry ticket on the weekend is rather expensive (IDR 90k/person) on paper, but if you consider the maintenance and feeding expenses for the whole vicinity, i guess it's okay. Still for single traveller, it might not be worth the money.
Eugene Kristiono — Google review
Visited here during fasting period and it was a bit quiet. Do not expect lot of animals here, because it is not a zoo.
You can only find turtles, rabbits, fishes, ducks, horses, deers, cows, and alpacas.
The rest, you can show your kids the rice plants and several vegetables on it.
Pandapotan Siagian — Google review
Got here around 830, there’s already a crowd. Parents with little children mostly.
The place is quite cool with animals such as buffalo, sulcata, horse, alpaca, deer, cow, rabbit, fishes and an aviary.
There’s feeding for the animals (carrots) or fish food at 10,000 per serving.
There’s a few playground, rock climbing, water play area and a scooter/bike park. U can rent scooter or bike at 25,000 per hour.
Fishing is additional pay as well

The park is a good choice for children's education because it is ideal for teaching youngsters to various types of animals or plants. There is also a large playground here, and the animals are also kid-friendly and not at all harmful. There are also a lot of individuals selling food and drinks, so you don't have to worry about your kids going hungry or thirsty.
Michelle Purnamasari — Google review
So many wonderful and fun things to do at Scientia Park and great for families, there's a lot of animals that can bite so I'd keep a close eye on really small children.
Tons of cute animals to see and interact with if you want. There's also a fishing pond and a rock climbing wall.
The cost for entry is extremely good for how many things you get to do. Have a falcon fly on you arm or have a parrot on your shoulder. There's even a music venue and multiple restaurants to experience. I cannot recommend Scientia park enough 😊
H2D Fives — Google review
Overpriced, pay 95.000 per head on the spot, instead of 45.000 via website, even majority people still feel overpriced if 45.000,
Go somewhere else, if you insist check the altermative pricing first,
Lots of google review complains, i went here just for the sake family request, no much changes or even just the same facility from beginning, better to spend money else where, unless got special promo then you can try out,

It is an old two stories building, so when the visitors on the 2nd floor is too many, the guards will closed the door and asking visitors to come down.
This place is fit for children and school trip. The contribution fee is very cheap arounr Rp 5.000 for adults, 4.000 for varsity student, 3.000 for kids and special price for group outing. However somehow the setting was not too attractive and a bit dusty.

Visited on Saturday and every attraction had long queue, especially the mistery train, their newest addition, we had to queue for half an hour. Many indoor attractions like Ice age, mystery house, were not opened yet when we visited during this covid time. Most attractions need a bit repainting as it looks old. Istana boneka needs more cleaning as some dolls has so many dusts and spider web.

A fun tourist location to spend time with family. The beach sand is clean, the sea water is clear. Suitable as a children's water play area. It's just unfortunate, there is some rubbish that has washed up on the edge of the beach, reducing its beauty
Visitor entrance tickets and parking tickets are cheap
When we visited, the tourist location was rather quiet because we visited on a weekday. This makes it easier for us to find car parking locations and places to relax. If you want to pray, the prayer room is close by. If you want to go to the toilet, it is also close by and in clean conditions
Recommended for those who want a short holiday at a low cost

This place has changed a lot, in a good way. Perhaps this has anything to do with the new logo.
Went there on the saturday night and the place was jammed with vehicles! Quite a surprise really.
The huge change was the signs to places are plenty n really helpful. I used to get lost inside even though have been visiting the places many times.
Keep up the good job!

The place is nice and clean though the ticket is kind of pricy.
So I entered SeaWorld and charged me 75.000 during weekdays but maybe increased during weekend.
And when I entered Ancol, they charged me 25.000 per each. It's recommended to go with family or partners

Huge place with many parks. One of them is small water park for children (Atlantis). My daughter enjoyed it very much. They have two huge slides, lazy river, big pool with water fall, nice pool with basket balls, and more. You can rent lockers, there are few local restaurants. Very cheap (about 80K rupi).

DuFan: The queues all are too long, because of physical distancing, mostly not really doing the distancing at half to end of the queues.
Too bad there were so many attractions are closed.
Closed attractions: Histeria, 4D, Perang Bintang, Rajawali, Niagara, pontang panting, ice age indoor area.

The National Museum of Indonesia, also known as Museum Nasional, is a historical and archaeological treasure trove showcasing ceramics, statues, coins, and diverse works of art. Located near the iconic Istiqlal Mosque and Gereja Cathedral, it offers a comprehensive overview of the country's history, culture, geography, and topography. The museum's collection includes pottery pieces, weaponry, farming equipment and more.
Biggest museum in Jakarta (probably in Indonesia), located in Medan Merdeka area, super strategic and easy to reach.
Parking area is very wide, both for car and motorcycle. Parking area is in the basement, so you need a little walk to get into the museum.
General admission is very cheap, i don't remember exact price, but it's in range of 5k-10k rupiahs. I recommend you to buy the ticket in advance from their website, but it's okay if you buy the ticket on the spot.
Their collections are very diverse and complete. It's a best place to learn about the Indonesian history, from prehistoric era until the modern era. This museum is very well managed, applause for the management.
Sometime they held a non-permanent exhibition and music concert as well. So i think it's a good move by the management, to make the image of museum from a place that is so segmented, to be a public place that is opened for everyone. 5/5 stars.

A place where you can see and learn about Indonesia's civilization.
There are relics, remains, monuments, ceramics, miniatures, and many more. It's like traveling through time to how our ancestors used to live and how they evolved through time.
A recommended place for you who likes to learn about our (Indonesia's) history and civilization.
Suggestions :
1. A map is needed with detailed information
2. Add more security patrolling the rooms and floors
3. keep up the good work

Spent an hr+ looking through the exhibits. Cost of entry is very reasonable. Most of the exhibits are before the 19th century and my kids commented the free WiFi here is speedy. We came on Saturday but the crowd is still manageable and still possible to take nice photos on the exhibits. Would say this is a must visit places of interest in Jakarta.

Museum with the largest collection in Indonesia. Due to its enormous collection, there are a lot of things to display here about Indonesia. I really recommend you to visit this museum before exploring Indonesia or studying Indonesia in advance level. It is a good stepping stone for understanding of Indonesian history.
This museum contains collections ranging from ethnographic artifacts, Hindu-Buddhist masterpiece from all over Indonesia, to pre historic fossils.
Even though I do find that the museum is too big that it will be good if there should be a dedicated museum to exhibit classical Indonesian collections.

I was blown away by the diverse collection of items this museum has. I have seen a lot of museums (in different countries including south Asia, south east Asia, Europe and USA) showing cultural history of a society, but I felt that this one is probably the only complete historical museum I have seen till date.
It covers diverse aspects of Indonesia. Right from historical kingdoms, religion and ethnicity of people, their rituals, culture, food habits, clothing, ornaments, daily essentials, tools, weapons...almost every aspect of the Indonesian people is covered here. Its visually stunning and you just can not get enough if it.
Another commendable thing is despite it being so vast, it is very well maintained and well managed. They do charge a nominal fee, but its well worth it.
A must must visit if you are in Jakarta.

The finest museum in town showcases an immense collection of artefacts, encompassing indonesian archaeological finds, masterful works fashioned from anykind materials, and an assortment of cultural instruments. From ancient pottery and intricately carved sculptures to impeccably preserved mosaics and delicate textiles, the museum houses a captivating selection of archaeological wonders. Nice museum located on Central Jakarta.
Price on site is 25 000 rp, very accessible for most of the tourist.
The weekend is not crowded even on the weekend. You might have a queue to buy ticket as there is only 1 staff selling ticket. To save time you can buy online and there is a second queue ( almost no one) to collect online ticket, sometimes online will be even cheaper as 15 000 rp.
The museum is quite huge as you will have a lot to see and understand if you are interest into culture and history.
The museum close quite early, around 4pm so better to plan you day.

An interesting museum and nice place to spend an afternoon. That said, as far as national museums go, a bit more care and attention could be paid to the quality of many of the displays. Some areas seemed to be lacking in cleanliness, with visible streaks on the protective glass which obscured the viewing experience. Other areas seemed to have visible signs of wear and tear.

The ticket is 25.000 idr, which is equivalent to around 1.5 usd. Very reasonable price.
In comparison to the other museums I have been in, the technologies are more simple, the place however is super clean and the museum staff are very friendly and sociable. A very worthy attraction to be visited in Jakarta.

Museums function as educational establishments preserving our cultural heritage. It was a perfect occasion to immerse myself in hands-on experiences that brought to life the theoretical history lessons I acquired in high school, encompassing everything from Darwin's theory of life's origins to the evolution of civilizations. The central message conveyed is that, upon examining the development of civilizations, from hunting and ironworking to pottery, agriculture, and modern society. We come to recognize the fundamental similarities shared by all human beings. The National Museum of Indonesia serves as a showcase of such commonalities between Asian and African civilizations

Located in the heart of Merdeka Square in Jakarta, Indonesia, stands the National Monument (Monumen Nasional or Monas). This 132-meter-tall obelisk was constructed to honor Indonesia's struggle for independence from Dutch colonial rule. Inspired by the Eiffel Tower, it was commissioned by President Sukarno and completed in 1975. The monument is adorned with a gold-sheeted flame at its peak and has become a symbol of national pride.
Turns out this location is not as small as I imagined. This monument is quite large and spacious, and is very suitable for the crowd

4/5 🌟. The place that tells you the history of Indonesia. The museum is just below underground the national monument which can be enter by purchasing a ticket for museum will be 5000rp and to visit the sky view of national monument is 10000rp. Recommend to do early booking if you intent to go up of the national monument to enjoy the sky view as ticket are limited. However it is not tourist friendly as it will be requiring tourist to purchase a JakLingko card to enter the museum that cost additional 15,000rp.

The National independence Monument, nicknamed Monas, is a huge monument in the middle of Merdeka Square. It is made of Italian marble and topped with a sculpted gold leaf flame.
If you would like to ride to the top, entrance is via an underground tunnel and costs about $3 USD. Try to go early to ensure you get a ticket as they do sell out, which is to say, I did not make it to the top.

Istiqlal Mosque, located in Jakarta, is the largest mosque in Southeast Asia and features a contemporary design. It's situated near other notable landmarks such as the Gereja Cathedral and the National Museum of Indonesia. When visiting this bustling city, it's important to be mindful of safety tips and exercise caution while navigating the streets. Additionally, a visit to Istiqlal Mosque offers an opportunity for spiritual connection during nighttime hours.
An iconic Islamic building full of historical events and spiritual presence. By far, it is the biggest mosque in Southeast Asia region. The area surrounding the mosque has many historical spots (like the Cathedral and National Monument). Istiqlal Mosque is open for non-Muslim tourists for free, just need to dress properly and respectfully.

One of the famous and important landmarks in Jakarta and certainy shouldn't be missed if you visit the capital city of Indonesia.
Istiqlal Mosque is the biggest mosque in South East Asia and the sixtth biggest mosque in the world in terms of capacity for the worshippers. I guess I read it that it can accomodate more than 200.000 worshippers at the same time. With many floors surrounding the main building, it sure will be able to welcome many.
The last time I came here was during Ramadhan, at dhuha time in the morning. It was not too crowded, at that time but I guess when it's during Friday prayers, taraweh, Eid and more, the mosque is packed.
There are several entrances, with separated doors for men and women. The Ablution center is also separated and the praying area is clearly designated. If you don't bring prayer mat or praying clothes (mukena), they have it ready in the praying area. Holy Quran is also available for those who like to recite it while in the mosque.
It has big terraces and halls. We have many religious-related activities conducted in the mosque.
The parking area is big and it can cater cars and buses.
There is a playing ground for kids in the courtyard as well.
It's always lovely to be here and solemnly pray.

The Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta is a stunning architectural marvel and an essential cultural landmark in Indonesia. As one of the largest mosques in Southeast Asia, it can accommodate over 200,000 worshippers. Its grand dome and towering minarets dominate the cityscape. The mosque's construction commenced in 1961 and was inaugurated in 1978, symbolizing Indonesia's newfound independence.
Inside, the vast prayer hall boasts a serene ambiance, with a beautiful mihrab at its center. The mosque is known for its inclusivity, welcoming visitors from all backgrounds to admire its beauty and learn about Islam. Its strategic location near Jakarta's other major attractions makes it an easily accessible and enriching experience for tourists and locals alike.

We have entered the Istiqlal Mosque through the Al Fattah or main gate.We were greeted by the ever smiling faced young Imam of the mosque. He is such a knowledgeable person and with his smile and attitude instantly owned our heart. We came to know from him that Indonesia is primarily a Sunni Muslim country. Istiqlal Mosque is very famous in contemporary world history and President Barack Obama along with his wife, President Bill Clinton, German Chancellor Anjela Narkel and numerous world dignitaries came here in yesteryear, but he is very happy to meet some Indians. This grand structure is the largest mosque in South East Asia and 9th biggest mosque in the world and built to commemorate Indonesian Independence. It has a capacity for 200,000 worshippers. Architecture of this beautiful mosque was Friedreich Silaban.
The rectangular main prayer hall building is covered by a 45-m diameter central spherical dome; the number "45" symbolizes the 1945 Proclamation of independence.
The dome is supported by twelve big round columns or pillars . 12 probably indicate prophet's birthday month of Rabi' al-awwal. We are seeing 5 floors inside the mosque which as per explanation of Imam symbolizes 5 time Azan or prayers. He also said the central dome of the mosque is 8 meters in diameter . Here 8 means 8th or August month, the month of Indonesian Independence.

This is the second time I visited the Istiqlal Mosque, my first visit here was when there was no Google account or mobilephones with cameras for almost 20 years ago.
Now I visited here in October 27th 2023 specially for Friday prayers.
This magnificent mosque, the largest in Southeast Asia, makes me proud to be an Indonesian citizen.
An extraordinary mosque design is timeless.
Since the renovation was completed, there have been improvements and additional supporting facilities to make this mosque even better.
There is a paid locker cupboard to store things and our belonging when we want to enter the area inside the mosque.
There are quite a lot of sanitary places available and they are quite clean.
The prayer place is on the 2nd floor, up 1 floor from the ablution place.
When you enter the main prayer room you can really feel the splendor of this Istiqlal mosque.

Entry to the mosques spree. A guide is provided taking small groups around the mosque after you sign in and cloak up in burgundy with gold trim, hooded gowns… Very very special. You take your shoes off and two of the mosque. It really is stunning. It’s all marble but the dome itself and the columns in the main prayer area is stainless steel with beautiful red carpets. There are five levels representing the five pillars of Islam. It is the largest mosque in Southeast Asia and the ninth largest in the world. Capacity is 120,000 worshippers really amazing experience. Even waiting outside for the mocks to open which is 10 am we enjoyed coffee with some Street vendors and a swat team. That were there taking a break from the patrols…

Came here in the last couple of days of Ramadhan 1445H to pray magrib and isya. Still very crowded even if it had been a holiday already. There were a lot of food stalls with so many options to accompany all visitors who want to pray along the night at this mosque. In Ramadhan, the mosque provided some iftar and rice box to visitors wanting to break a fast there, but in limited quantity. There is a locker as well in the men's wudhu place to put all your belongings if you don't want to bring it inside the mosque.

This is the largest mosque in Southeast Asia and the sixth largest mosque in the world. It was built to commemorate Indonesian independence and was named "Istiqlal", which is Arabic for "independence". The interior design is extremely modern, minimalist, simple and clean-cut, with a minimum of stainless steel geometric ornaments, and full of symbolism. The mosque can accommodate up to 200,000 worshippers. The visitor entrance is to the far right from the main entry doors.
Entrance is free, you will be asked to take of your shoes once inside, and clothing will be provided to cover your knees and shoulders if you are not properly dressed. A very bossy guide provides mandatory group tours.

The West Mall is a sprawling complex offering artificial recreational areas to replace green areas and parks that are largely missing in Jakarta. It is home to a wide variety of high-end brands, as well as more affordable options, as well as excellent street foods outside the West Mall that should have the right to be inside the mall also. There is also a large food court with a variety of cuisines to choose from. The mall is well-maintained and cleans up to the minute details, and the staff is friendly and very helpful and I hope they are paid far above the minimum wage. The mall is at the central location in Jakarta, making it easy to get to, makes us wonder how they occupy a vast commercial area close to a historical landmark.
The mall can be crowded at times, especially on weekends as there are almost no green areas in Jakarta. The prices at the mall can be high, so it is not the best place to go for budget-friendly shopping. The mall seems not to apply any green building or green energy design and there is not a lot of natural light inside. The mall is a maze and is a bit overwhelming, especially for first-timers, and for senior citizens. Yet, as most malls do, it is a reliable place to find what you are looking for.
Car parking can be costly and hard to find. Anticipate people driving recklessly and selfishly within the mall surroundings.

Great restaurants, and also a great place to have a long walk. Good stores that serve all classes of people. Been going here since 2009, when it first opened.
However, nowadays management is unprofessional and store employees have no discipline. Also employees can still use customer's toilets, and some are not very hygenic. Also, when the mall is about to close they take up all the lifts, and are seen walking while playing with their phones and bumping into people, or laughing loudly and disturbing customers.
Also, online food delivery drivers also walk around while playing with their phones, and bump into customers.
Better to go back to the old days, when it was more exclusive. That is why I still prefer PS, PI, Senci and PIM's management. Since I have been a long time customer here, I find it to be such a shame.

They have 2 big wings, East and West. Both are great and has a big line of stores, international as well as local brands, restaurants, and supermarkets. They usually have expo or special exhibition in the middle.
I usually go to Seibu and Food Hall in this wing, with 3A floor as my fave with lots of choices for food and beverages, like Marugame Udon, Koi, Pancious, Grains, Haagen Dasz, Ramen Ya, and so many more.
Foodprints, the food court at the 5th floor, is also great! It offers a wide variety of food as well, including Bakmi GM, Lamien place, dcrepes, fast food and more

Grand Indonesia Mall is Jakarta's bustling hub for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Boasting a diverse range of stores and eateries, it offers an extensive selection of both local and international brands. With its two main buildings, West and East Mall, it's a vibrant destination catering to various tastes and interests.

A very modern and one of the newest shopping malls in Jakarta.
It has a great variety of shops, but majority is high end brands, so don't expect any super bargains here.
The hallways themselves offers great space.
The layout can be tricky in the beginning and a little bit awkward, but it is easy to get into the groove of where to go, just make sure to have enough time ^^.
2 spacious and wide areas for dining where you will definitely be ablebto find something to your preference.
As well as a couple of places are located in the LG and UG floors too.
A great mall to visit if it is your first time here in Jakarta.

My least favorite mall in Jakarta. Arrogant rude fake high society types and obnoxious kids that always bump into you. It's always crowded too.
The food court is great and it has a good range of shops but you can never enjoy any of it with how noisy and saturated the area gets.

Jakarta Cathedral, a Roman Catholic place of worship founded in 1901, boasts a Neo-Gothic style with three spires and altars. Situated near the Istiqlal Mosque and the National Museum of Indonesia, it offers visitors a glimpse into Indonesia's religious diversity. The cathedral's architecture resembles European churches, featuring towering spires and ornate interiors adorned with statues and symbolic objects. Additionally, one of its spires houses a museum displaying relics of Catholic rituals.
Never been to a Catholic church before. But this one really catches my eye. The gothic style of this building really suits the theme of the old Roman Catholic. My experience here was amazing. The vibes and the people here really make the atmosphere feel so unique.

Gothic style church. Access was easy and best to visit during day time when the crowd is less. Would recommend hiring a guide though. I had a good one which showed me various tourist attractions in Jakarta for less that 40$.

Visited the Jakarta Cathedral and was impressed. The architecture is stunning, and the interior is equally beautiful. It's a peaceful and spiritual place in the heart of the city. Miss this place..
Long time since pandemic not visit this Cathedral , have growing memory in here with my kids and still on going....
Still not allowed to go inside the Church for public , only special events.
We can visit Gua Maria outside the Church with permission from security .
Have new underground tunnel that connect Istiqlal Mosque with Cathedral .

Anybody can visit the Cathedral but the church closes around 7pm but you can still visit the grounds until 9pm to see it from outside or take photos.

Stumbled upon this beautiful cathedral in Jakarta while was walking from the Gedung Pos Ibukota.
Luckily it was open was could visit it from the inside as well.
Such mesmerising architecture and the sheer size of the cathedral.
It was so peaceful inside and it felt like I should just sit there for some more time.
Would highly recommend visiting this cathedral when in Jakarta.

Average experience. Such a shame that there was a wedding happening just as we were there. We were not allowed to enter the pues to walk around like we expected to, because of the ongoing wedding. Managed to take pictures from the rear only.

The Jakarta Cathedral, also known as Gereja Katedral Jakarta, is a beautiful and historic Roman Catholic cathedral located in the heart of Jakarta, Indonesia. Built in the early 20th century, the cathedral has a stunning neo-gothic design and stands as a prominent landmark in the city.
One of the most striking features of the cathedral is its exterior, with its tall spires and intricate architectural details. The interior is equally impressive, with high ceilings, stained glass windows, and stunning murals and frescoes. The cathedral can seat up to 3,000 worshippers and is a popular destination for both tourists and locals alike.
One of the unique aspects of the Jakarta Cathedral is its blend of Indonesian and European influences. The cathedral was designed by a Dutch architect and built by Indonesian craftsmen, resulting in a fusion of styles that is truly one-of-a-kind.
Overall, the Jakarta Cathedral is a must-see destination for anyone visiting Jakarta. Its beautiful architecture and rich history make it a truly memorable experience. Whether you are a devout Catholic or simply appreciate beautiful buildings, the Jakarta Cathedral is worth a visit.

Being located directly across the road from Jakarta’s largest mosque, Istiqlal Mosque, this beautiful neo-gothic Catholic cathedral serves a very important symbol of unity and tolerance in Indonesia where roughly 85% of the population is Muslim. Admission is free.

There's only one other cathedral that I'm aware of that has a wood-laden ceiling: St. John's of Antigua and Barbuda.
Yet there's another feature that I didn't see anywhere else: the spires (60m/200ft tall) made from the iron frame.
The cathedral was completed in 1901.
You should be able to get decent pictures from the parking lot as well as from the Istiqlal mosque grounds. I suggest a camera over a phone.

The biggest cathredal in Jakarta (probably). This neo gothic style architecture is similar like medieval Europe, and it is beautiful and blend perfectly with modern Jakarta. This complex divided into 2: museum and prayer site. Although you can not move freely in prayer site, you can ask and do many activities in the museum. You can learn many things from its history, and how gospel started in Indonesia

The Gambir Train Station is a historic transit hub in Jakarta, Indonesia. It is one of the main stations in the capital and acts as a major transit point for trains heading towards other big cities around Java. The Dutch-era station houses both a museum and an art gallery, which makes it a popular destination for tourists. The station runs regularly and the boarding pass printing machines are working fine.
Station for premium long distance trains in Jakarta. So, they provide well maintained facilities for train users. Accessible location, lots of good places to eat and clean toilets. But there is not air conditioner inside waiting area.

The main train station of Jakarta is located pretty much in the center of the city. It is easy to access the station by car. When at the station there are plenty of porters to help with your luggage in case you have many bags or suitcases.
There are convenience stores throughout the station but not many restaurants.
Everything is well organized with clearly marked lanes to follow to your departure area.
There is sufficient seating in the departure area and you never get a feeling that it is overcrowded.
The station is exceptionally clean and even the restrooms are very clean and user friendly. There are western toilets in the restrooms.
We traveled first class and had access to the executive lounge which provides you with some peace and quiet, but no other amenities or food/drinks.
All in all we were very impressed with the station and will use trains again while in Indonesia.

No air conditioned or if I may say, minimal ac-area here 😁
But I like it, it feels so Jakarta-ish, my dear beloved city!^^
This train station has two entrance/exit, they are called North Gate and South Gate.
North is where 'no starbucks'.
South is where 'yes starbucks'
😂😄
But seriously, north gate is nearest to the monas (monumen nasional/national monument); south gate is nearest to the us embassy.
Well, it can also be said like this:
North gate is the nearest gate from the car exit gate.
South gate is the nearest gate from the car entrance gate *phew
And, there is this one lounge for premium ticket holder or, it is 60k Indonesian Rupiah (Rp) per person for two hours max.
It offers local delicacies, coffee and tea.
Adjacent to the south gate is a hostel, located at second floor, it has two access, from inside the building and from outside by stairs. It will charge you around Rp 150k up to 300k-ish per two hours, depends on the room type. Oh, this lodging will ask you about train ticket too.
A little tip, there are three Indomaret here, so yeah, these can misled you somehow or another in direction 😂😁 so be careful.
A little trick, there are air-con zone at the KFC building inside gambir train station compound.
Go to second floor for a spacious one.
Or, directly check in, then wait the choochoo at groundfloor's mini garden (it is at the centre of the building).
Now, I will let you guys have your adventure, have fun and stay safe!^^

6:00 in the morning situation in Gambir.
No need to worry about getting breakfast because many options of mini markets, coffee shops and small restos are already open.
Our favorites are:
* Lawsons for one complete shop of Japanese snacks, meals and great taste of coffee
* CFC, a legendary resto.. famous for its onion rings and chicken strips. Best for takeaway snacks in the train.
* Subway, for dine-in breakfast or take-away lunch/dinner

The main station for inter-city rail services. Have a lot of commercial tenants to keep your wallet and stomach busy and complete, well-maintained amenities and services to offers. Well-connected to public transport (2 BRT stations, each located in north and south). It also close to Jakarta's main landmark, National Monument (Monas), that will greet you right before your train enters the station.

Gambir Station, a central transportation hub in Jakarta, holds a special place in the heart of the city. For both locals and travelers, it’s often the first and last impression of Jakarta. I recently had the chance to visit, and here’s what I found.
This historic station, which has seen Jakarta evolve over the years, is a blend of old-world charm and modern efficiency. The station building itself is an architectural gem, and it offers a fascinating glimpse into the city’s colonial past. As you walk through the station’s halls, you can’t help but admire the intricate details of its design.
One of the things that immediately struck me was the station’s connectivity. It’s not just a train station but also a hub for buses and other public transportation options. This makes it a true gateway to Jakarta and beyond. Whether you’re heading out to explore other parts of Indonesia or arriving in Jakarta for the first time, Gambir Station is your starting point.
Inside the station, you’ll find a bustling atmosphere with a mix of travelers, commuters, and locals. There are plenty of shops, from souvenir stalls to food vendors, to keep you occupied while you wait for your train. One of my favorite aspects is the food. You can savor delicious Indonesian dishes, from nasi goreng to soto, giving you a real taste of the local cuisine.
One tip: be mindful of the time you visit. Like any major transportation hub, Gambir Station can get incredibly busy during peak hours. If you prefer a more relaxed experience, aim for non-rush periods.
Gambir Station is not just a place to catch a train; it’s an important piece of Jakarta’s history and a dynamic reflection of the city’s vibrant present. Whether you’re arriving in the city with eager anticipation or bidding farewell with cherished memories, Gambir Station will play a part in your Jakarta journey.

There are shops and restaurants inside the station so you can grab some foods or other things you need before leaving the station. There is also waiting room with many chairs close to exit gate, so you can wait for your pick up there without standing outside.

The Kubah Mas Mosque in Depok is a grand structure surrounded by lush greenery and adorned with shining golden domes and minarets. Its colonnaded courtyard offers a picturesque view for visitors. A popular destination for tourists, the mosque provides comfort and cleanliness to all who visit. It is especially serene during morning prayers (Subuh) or evening prayers (Ashar until Isya). The mosque's excellent upkeep reflects the dedication of its management to maintaining such an exceptional site.

Grand big mosque with a huge lawn (around 70Ha) and that's all about it.
Tbh the design looks quite tacky, with gold dome but doesn't look match. The grass is maintained ok and there are lots of flower pots randomly placed in the yard.
It's such a touristy spot coz I saw several buses from villages coming in and out.
Huge parking area and if you drive a car, they charge 15K/Car at the entrance gate.

Awesome mosque, masyaaAllah😍. Nice ambience. Great indoor and outdoor areas. There was an entry ticket for one car about 15K. the information about male and female door entry was given by paging by a staff there. You can leave your shoes or sandals at the sandal storage area which is under the stairs near the ablution area, and also the staff are there. There was a "pungli" in the parking area, even they said "seikhlasnya", but i think it's not nice and not suitable to be in the mosque area.
Very clean area but I saw a plastic garbage still threw on the grass by the earlier guest i think. Please, please, please, throw your garbage in the dustbin, let's keep our area and country clean from the trash.

Imagine your local-nouveau-riche-juragan's conception of what a good and beautiful mosque should look like, then imagine it manifested inside a 70ha complex of strange uninspiring pires and uncanny marble-filled halls and empty parks with surprising amount of flower pots inside.
The architecture feels really gaudy and tacky, but not in a "new, just renovated, with significant donation effort organized by local dewan kemakmuran masjid" or "old, with different styles but thoughtfully built on top of one another" mosque kind of way, but in a "i have so much money but so little taste but i want that amal jariyah flowing" mosque kind of way.
The columns are a bit of a mess, the geometric patterns (which the old masters used to inspire people of the beauty of god's creation) here truly offend your innate god-given pattern-seeking sensibilities, the arabic scripts used for the holy scripture are not consistent at all. There's just no unified message that this mosque want to give to you.
And as a pedestrian, you can see that this mosque is not constructed to build a long-lasting and lively and vibrant religious community. It is amazing to see that the parks are empty, the only people that can be seen there are tourists or the "management" (no no they are of course too fancy to be called DKM, mind you). This is what you get when you have overly top-down planning with a focus only on buildings but not on the people using them. You KNOW for a fact that the planners of this mosque don't walk around at all. (developmentalisme suharto bla bla bla)
As a place of worship, the experience was good, and the HVAC system plays a lot of role in that (again, building not people). But that is what you'd expect of similarly built mosques as well, so nothing really special.
I give this place 2.25 stars (dislike it, but alright if you want to visit it at least once if you don't have anywhere else to go).

What's the special thing in here? It's the golden dome of the mosque. Yes, it's a truly one. No paints at all. The stunning one. The golden issues with a massive area instead of its neighbours. This mosque is located away from the downtown. The road traffic is jammed on the narrow one. What I love in here is the garden of flowers has been surrounding the great mosque. Nangka Waterfall is an idyllic natural wonder situated within a forested region. Its picturesque cascade flows into a small pool that visitors can splash around in. This breathtaking location offers an easy hiking trail, making it an excellent destination for families seeking to bond while camping and trekking. The path leads to the river, where the adventure begins as hikers must navigate through rocky terrain and wade through shallow waters.
It's not too far from Bogor Station. Easy tracking but slipery. Bring your another clothes if you want to swim because the water and ambience was really fresh. But be careful of monkeys there.

There are three stages of waterfall.
The first stage of the waterfall is the hardest as you'll need to climb steep stairs to get there.
The second and third isn't as steep as the first.
Also if you park your vehicle at the upper part, prepare also to climb back to the parking space when you decide to go back. Or you can ask for local help to go back there with a little price.

Curug nangka has a height of approximately 25 meters. The water discharge always flows and will never run out even though it is in the dry season.
There are several vegetation that live in this area so that it adds to the beautiful scenery. In addition, there is a small river that must be traversed if you want to reach this area. This river is the only way to the waterfall. The water is quite calm and shady, so it's easy to walk through.
Not too far from Curug Nangka, there are two more waterfalls that are approximately 1 km away. The names are Curug Kawung and Curug Daun, both of which have smaller discharge so they are less impressive as photo spots.
Getting to this place did require special strength. Because you have to conquer the fatigue of walking far from the entrance to the waterfall area. But feeling tired will be refracted by the extraordinary beauty of the waterfall. In addition, you will also be accompanied by wild animals, namely monkeys
Please beware of them don't try simply to feed them or disturb them they will attack you in groups
There are memories monument too for those beloved friends who died in curug nangka it's yesser arafat monument you can see on the picture

Very calm and relaxing enviroment especially if you are a hindu, clean restroom, mangnificent view, large parking spots adds all to the already good temple. The only downside is this temple located a bit far from bogor and only has one way access providing a bit of a hassle because, there are many tour bus using the road couoled with narrow road.
Aside from that cons, for hindu who looking for visiting this temple any accommodation like foods, canang, banten, incense stick, and lighter are easy to find because there is many vendors nearby.

Mandatory is to bring sarong if one is in shorts. There was some initial problem of getting up as I was in my shorts and needed a sarong to wrap and there was nowhere nearby the sarong could be rented. Finally got arranged by help of one security and one shopkeeper after long wait.
