Its quite big zoo and you will definitely find something to watch
Elzbieta Jacevic — Google review
Good one but the number of animals is very little. They could and should have a lot more
Khaled Khezim — Google review
Naturzoo Rheine is a great destination for families with children. The zoo offers a wide variety of animals, including exotic species, that are sure to delight visitors of all ages. The facilities are well-maintained and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The price is also very affordable, making it a great value for families on a budget. Nice zoo with fair prices and enough parking space.
Well doable with a wheelchair and kid cart.
Nice amount of animals and some residents u can walk into.
The family enjoys this every year😎
Jc Vogelzang — Google review
This is a great zoo, up close with the animals, good selection of wildlife. The world's supply of storks!! Sensible prices on food and drink. The WC and baby change were clean and tidy throughout the day.
John Bernardes — Google review
Great place for the kids. Nice playground. The price is good. Would get a higher star if they had information about the dinosaur's in English. Like many places in Germany it focus mainly og Germans and Dutch visitors.
Thomas Olsen — Google review
A great zoo. Its small but it has everything from spiders to tigers. The animals where exited and playfull. You get to be really close to all of them and there is even a place where you can walk with monkeys around you. You can hug goats and horses. The only downside is that you could only pay with cash.
Stan De Groot — Google review
A rather small zoo, with smaller animals than most zoo's.
But some bigger animals are there.
A lot of birds including really a lot of storcks that nest there and about half of the storcks stay in winter.
Most of the other birds can be visited inside the cages but only after April. During the winter period these cages are closed
Eric Lotgerink — Google review
A nice selection of specimens. A lot of open enclosures for interacting with animals. Very clean, quiet and well-kept. Overall better than some bigger zoos I've visited.
Detailed exhibits & room tours, with costumed guides telling the backstory of this medieval castle.
Very beautiful place. Great for walking and sightseeing. Highly recommended

a beautiful route along the river, an original cafe in a castle in a former stable. There is an excellent children's playground near the castle

Impressive castle, with a fascinating story described in both German and English. Many activities for children both inside and near the castle. A great place for a weekend getaway.

Very nice place open with nice to history also in english to read. The ticket costs 7,5 euros. And outside there is a small backer. In the morning there is a buffet with 18 euros costs but i think it is until 11:00. We ate 3 cakes and three coffees and we paid 19 euros. Also in the water there are some damn huge fish!!!!!!
Αγνή Βογιατζούλη — Google review
A true moated castle with a fascinating history. Don’t miss the bakery, bring 5€ for a loaf of fresh bread. Inside the castle is a well done display of the history over three levels. The basement is great for kids - and there is a projected map display that is a must to see. The second level has the history of the castle with some interesting stories one including a iron collar that was fixed to the owner. They do a great job telling the story. Make sure to check out the bed display as well. Everything is in German and English and very well done.
Stephen de Man — Google review
Beautiful ancient castle (Wasserschloss) with a moat and a drawbridge, and a colorful Westfalian history. Great museum inside which has info on all the local castles and learning rooms, old weapons and coins and furniture. Really well preserved castle. A great example of the local type. Also very accessible for wheelchairs, they installed a lot of access devices. Bakery attached, a small cafe, and an art exhibit in the outer courtyard.
Mike Harms — Google review
Such a great and historical place to visit. It is open to visit even on sunday and has great nature. At the same time there is great cafe and bakery near the castle to hang out.

It's a very well maintained outdoor as well as indoor mall environment. The best part is intermediate places to rest and relax for a break, which most big malls do not have. It's a nice refreshing half day tour !

Very nice and neat picturesque outlet mall in the German village of Ochtrup, near the border with The Netherlands, about 15KM or so from Enschede. It have lost of famous brands like: Nike, Adidas, Puma, and many other brands. There is also a free parking lot
It's open from Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 am to 20:00 pm

Nice and clean! Plenty of stores and places where you can refresh or get something to eat. There is a lot of brands and the prices are really good. We had a nice day there and will be back soon. The website is really helpful where you can find offers and opening times.

Good outlet like in Austria(Parndorf)
Many shops and good prices, there are still a few missing but it can be seen that it is being developed, I came from 200 km and it was worth the trip 😎😅👍
Drago Drago — Google review
Small shops . The meaning of the outlet isn't justified by the prices and shop size too. Its more of a shopping area with nice environment. Nice decorations though.Felt good to be walking in the village like area. But not worth it for shopping.
Small area But very nice place to visit with friends and family.
Rabby Ananto — Google review
Very nice clean place with a lot of shops and brands. But Very tough entry policy for children. We had to wait in the queue outside for 15 minutes in a very cold weather to dot the tests.
H Zak — Google review
Super cute idea for an outlet. Great outdoor and indoor spaces. They provide umbrellas for free when it's raining and it's overall a really great shopping experience. Doesn't matter if it's summer or winter, it's a great place to be.
Nicole Nami — Google review
Awesome place to buy branded goods in cheap prices.
Gadani Rushi — Google review
Simply not good enough. They have less than 100 brands in the outlet, place is small with brands having small stores, nothing interesting to the eye, and discounts were not generous. We were in and out in no time. Not worth the visit.
Michael Alonso — Google review
A beautiful place for an outlet and had an opportunity to visit other outlets to for shopping
Sarthak Chaudhari — Google review
This is a very good outlet mall. Things are on discounts but they do have a section of new arrivals too. You can find good stuff but chances are that sometimes you might not get the size that you want especially in shoes. The place is Kid friendly too. A big car parking area is available.
The Ochtrup town is beautiful too which is a bonus if you visit the place.
shantanu gontia — Google review
It was a Saturday and it was very crowded. Some stores have good discounts, but some not so much. There are places to rest and eat, as well as places for children to have fun. It's not very big and it's quick to shop.
Sonya Miteva — Google review
It's very nice, love the amount of sitting places and the coin tossing "fountain".
The vibe is very tropical weather city.
Viviana Villafañe Barraza — Google review
I drove 300 km for a specific coat for my terminally ill son. The employee told me that I could come without any problems because there were 10 of that size. Once we arrived there turned out to be nothing. My son cried outside. This concerns the Tommy Hilfiger store. It turned out there was stock, but they didn't want to give it away. 1 star is too much for this store.
The DASA Working World Exhibition is a contemporary museum that offers interactive displays showcasing the history, present and future of work. One of the highlights of the exhibition is an amazing construction playground that kids will surely enjoy. The other parts of the exhibit are also entertaining with a variety of unique and playful displays that allow children to try them out. Among these displays, there is a Kuka Robot which demonstrates the exceptional speed and precision that factory robots possess.
I never cease to amaze how cool the Germans present galleries, museums, etc. Here you can find answers to all professions and how everything works. A lot of interactive things. Cool for adults and children. You will stay there for at least 3 hours🔥
A V — Google review
The DASA exhibition was great fun for our son, just because of the awesome construction playground in the middle of the exhibition. Besides being there for most of our stay, we also had fun with the other parts of the exhibition. There where things we hadn’t seen in a while and our son had never seen. A lot of things were playfully made, so kids could try them out. What most impressed us, was the Kuka Robot, that showed the speed and precision of factory robots. If you have kids it’s a full recommendation. ✌🏼✌🏿

Broad base of science covered in this exciting Exhibition.
My favourite was control tower and pushing tin experience at the aviation exhibits.
A great place to bring young children for a day of exploring.
Ludwig Ehrke — Google review
Friendly staff who could mostly speak English, made this a very enjoyable experience. Lots of hands-on fun for everyone. Easy to recommend, enjoyed a solid 90 minutes there myself. Not every exhibit was working, but that is like most museums. Still worth making the short trip out of the city centre.

Such a fun place to visit with kids. It's best suited for kids over 5 but younger kids also have things to enjoy. We couldn't see everything in 2 hours but great value for money
Avani P — Google review
One of the best sights in Dortmund! Dasa is a truly unique museum dedicated to the various different kinds of jobs. It is a big museum with a free entry! There are exhibits about pilots, machinery, production, relax, etc. Moreover, kids seem to love it. The main attraction in my opinion is the production robot which executes commands and sort of dances! I haven't seen anything like it, it is truly unique. I will definitely remember it. Dasa's only disadvantage is it's terrible location. It is far away from the city but it's still manageable. Overall, a must-see museum in Dortmund!
Martin Zagorov — Google review
The most underrated attraction in Dortmund. This place is full of amazing interactive exhibition items including a flight simulator and a letterpress. Almost everything in the museum you can touch or play with! I spent about 2 hours here and it was definitely not enough time to explore it all. It's all in German but luckily I had a German friend with me to translate. I think without him I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much because there's lots of interesting info you miss out on.
Jessica Kate Tweed — Google review
Very nice modern museum, a lot of stuff to watch and to do. Considering the price, it's simply amazing. Price/Emotions ratio is second to none! :)

Very interactive museum. I absolutely love when museums are interactive. Definitely worth visiting.
The LWL Industrial Museum Zollern is a preserved 19-20th century coal mine, now functioning as a museum for visitors to explore. The site boasts an art nouveau building portal, original machinery displays and the opportunity to climb one of the green towers used to pull up carts with coal. While most exhibits are only available in German, it is still worthwhile for non-native speakers to visit. The museum is particularly engaging for children and offers an adult ticket price of five units.
A great facility with very well prepared information for young and old. All age groups get their money's worth here. There is so much to experience and touch! Well done!! …
Really highly recommended - we spent several exciting hours here. Everything is explained very vividly and even without a guided tour we were able to put ourselves in the shoes of the times. …
Albrecht Klemm — Google review
Excellent museum set in a preserved colliery with some fantastic displays. The engine hall is breathtaking. You can also climb the winding tower where there are some telescopes to look out over the Ruhr area.
James Smith — Google review
It was almost good, the industry enthusiast in me loved every bit of machinery I could see. The only problem was that there wasn't any guide or writing in English, and for us being an international tourists, with barely good German, we couldn't understand what was mostly written about the machines, or the medical bay that was shown.
Szabolcs Benedek — Google review
Truly amazing! Spend 2h in this place, which is in incredible shape. Some descriptions and info are in english, but mostly german. Many cool exhibits and underground rooms and tunnels. Very cool experience!

Visit recommended to this old coal mining installations.
The museum is well prepared. You can see real materials, walk through the installations and read explanations of how daily life was. It is possible to walk up in one of the towers being able to contemplate a nice view.
They have a few guided tours per day explaining different things. We could watch a mechanical model of the coal mines, really cool.
Jorge G — Google review
Super well designed and curated museum: You will learn about the culture of the German „Bergmann“, how coal shaped the entire ruhr region and see real historic artifacts. If you come during the week it‘s also very quiet and quite relaxing walking around.

"The Castle of labor" As they call themself, is a 19-20th century coal mine preserved for these days, whole facility is a one big museum. Adult ticket is 5€, you can climb to one of green towers that were used to pull up the carts with coal. Really big attention to kids, but sadly as most of the things are only in German, but still is worth to check out. If you would be travelling from Dortmund there is a direct train to here of the time of writing this stop is around 10minute walk from this place.

The Zeche Zollern II/IV (translated: Zollern II/IV Colliery) is located in the northwestern suburb of Bövinghausen of Dortmund, Germany. The Gelsenkirchener Bergwerks-AG projected Zollern in 1898 as a model colliery. The “mansion of labour” is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and impressive testimonies to Germany's industrial history. Ground up construction began in 1898 on a new site. Most of the buildings of the colliery were built in solid brickwork by the architect Paul Knobbe and were completed in 1904 with the central engine house, in which the most up-to-date generators and machinery used in the colliery were housed. The architecture and state-of-the-art technology support the transition of Gothic-revival to Art Nouveau and the industrialization of the early 1900s. Due to deadline pressure, the central engine house was built in iron framework construction with infilling of red brickwork, planned and executed by the Gutehoffnungshütte. The Art Nouveau styled main entrance was designed by the Berlin architect Bruno Möhring, it shows a lead glazing of blue, green and-glass. Counterpart of the main entrance is the big control board of polished marble in brass mounting, with a brass clock hanging from above. Other buildings on the site include administration bureaus, blacksmith's shop and carpenter's shop, first-aid and fire station with stable, pithead baths, tools store and the central gateway. The museum is an anchor point on the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
Ngo Hai Anh — Google review
This is a place to feel history. The guides really take you back a century to a time when worker rights were non existent. If a miner was badly injured his buddy's would take him back down the shaft, because if he didn't die on the premises the insurance didn't have to pay. Hear the noise of the machines feel the toil. In pursuit of money and a technology that has now brought the planet on the brink of disaster.
tom reetz — Google review
It is nice museum and since this mine was designed as a model mining facility, it is more aesthetic than practical.

The park exceeded our expectations. Although there were a lot of people, the queues for the games were never too long. My children were enthusiastic and played almost all the games. Climbing, sliding, exploring, floating on rafts. The indoor games are also the wonderful ones, an endless tangle of tunnels and secret passages.

Our favorite climbing Park which we go every summer. It sets right in the middle of the forest., lots of shades, resting places. Wonderful for kids under 14 years old. Lots to do for the whole day. Going there is Better than being in a kirmes with all the rides and climbs. The best is kids above 6 can all do it themselves without adults.

We stayed 7hrs here on Monday and still not enough to experience it all 😅
The attention to detail, varied highs and lows to climb, fast and slow rides, literal huge outdoor space and ergonomic design of playpens made it so much attractive for all ages 😊
The Rijksmuseum Twenthe is a unique and impressive museum that showcases a wide-ranging collection of art spanning from the middle ages to the modern era. The museum not only features temporary exhibitions, but also includes exhibits of modern art with stylistic Dutch overtones such as de Stijl and Art Deco movements. It provides visitors with an assistive gadget guide to follow information and items.
Wonderful museum! Several cool exhibitions (and absolutely different in terms of info/energy/visual content). Beautiful cafe (with a very good coffee and a very appealing cakes). Just one little thing that I didn’t like (but museum can’t do anything about it, of course) - quite an expensive parking fee nearby.

The atmosphere was very relaxed and calm, which made my visit all the more enjoyable. One thing I particularly appreciated about the museum was the diversity of art and objects on display. There were various creative displays throughout the museum, including philosophical texts that sparked my interest. Overall, I highly recommend this museum to anyone looking for a unique and inspiring cultural experience.

A small gallery, but putting on impressive exhibitions (I went for the Artemisia Gentileschi exhibition, Vrouw & Macht, and wasn't disappointed)... well organised and presented.
And they also have related activities: a music evening for Baroque music from female composers, and for younger children.
Mark Baker — Google review
A great museum with an interesting concept that puts the museum's artefacts in dialogue. It also reinvents itself frequently. I was there last July and now in January and nearly half of the exhibition space was with new exhibits. Sure I want to come again in half a year. Compared to museums in Germany the entrance fee is steeper. The audio guides sometimes don't work with good precision. Sometimes they don't respond, at other times they explain the wrong exhibit. But when they work, the information is good and comprehensive.
Rainer Halama — Google review
Collection is so so. Kind of weird. Garden is pretty. One of the front lady is SOOOOO RUDE (she shut me up so unpleasantly when my friends were asking her about entrance fee and I inquired another lady about museum pass! I don’t get. We need to decide which one is better and I’m not interfering her answering my friends’ question) and another is pretty friendly. Another lady also points us to an English map. None of them tell us about the free audio guide though. Pretty disappointing here.

It's a unique experience to visit this place. Was not aware of such rich and fine collection of art, history and culture. The museum has assistive gadget guide to follow items and information. A wonderful courtyard with a cafe and a souvenir shop to spend a nice afternoon, surrounded by open corridors. Also includes exhibits of modern art and stylistic dutch overtones of de stijl and art deco movements. What a visual treat !!

I was greeted by the friendliest staff ever. I told them I speak a bit of Dutch and I’m trying to practice speaking Dutch so the receptionist started telling me instructions in Dutch then repeated it in English for me.
The place itself is amazing. A great mixture between renaissance/ golden age art with modern/abstract art.
Some art display from exhibition Na De Jacht lowkey gave me a heart attack by how they look but in general, very impressive way to express art.
Nice location, not too far from the central station and very quiet (it won’t be as crowded as Rijkmuseum in Amsterdam but always keep in mind they have way smaller collection of art here)

It's a very nice place to go even if you are remotely interested in art. It has two sections, one for 17 and 18th century artist and one with more recent art. I was lucky to visit on a day when they had free entrance, so if you are Enschede longer, you can plan your visit accordingly and save some cash!

I found it very expensive for what it has. (Better if you go there with the museumkaart.) Almost nothing in my view, not much information about the works.
What I enjoyed the most is the art that makes wind.

The UNESCO-World Heritage Site Zollverein contains a coke and coal mine that began in 1849. It is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the Ruhr region, with activities including exhibitions, concerts, and dance performances.
Well maintained, nice tour. Nice place to spend a sunny afternoon. Most of it you can visit for free. Tour is a bit rushed now, because they have to cram 2 hours into 1, but still worth it.

It is a wonderful place that has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Although we have a vaccination passport, we could not enter the museum because we did not have a test, but the outdoor and garden tells everything. This is what it means to protect your values. I advise. If you are going during the pandemic period, you cannot see it without a daily test and vaccination passport and mask.

Once a huge coal mine now a beautiful industrial monument in the middle of a park with museums, restaurants, playgrounds, walking and biking lanes. No entry costs except for the museums. You can easily spend the whole day.

The Zeche Zollverstein terrain has a lot to show for including a swimming pool, restaurants, shops and two museums, each requiring a ticket purchase. One is dedicated to design, while the other offers a broad spectrum of items, ranging from paintings and sculptures to rocks and artifacts displayed among the industrial spaces and machinery. The general history museum also features beautifully lit staircases, though elevators are available throughout for convenience. To enjoy a nice panoramic view of the grounds, visitors must ascend the stairs to the rooftop. There are a lot of free parking spaces, but it can get quite busy near the entrance, so arriving early is advisable. Given the extensive size of the grounds, biking is also a great option. The main downside is the poor signage throughout. It's often unclear where things are located, the pricing, and which parts belong to the museum versus separate exhibitions. For a World Heritage site, one might expect better clarity.

Wonderful experience and great museum layout. In addition, a couple of hand made shops compliment the museum area. You could easily spend many hours in the museum. The staff was friendly and helpful.

It is a very big area which is nicely planned in terms of design, style, service to show history.
You can simply touch and feel history and how the weather and the time was earlier. You can also have a guide who can explain you about the history and if you have luck to have someone with a good story telling skills then you can really enjoy the whole visit. There is also restaurant and cafe inside alongside with toilet free of charge.
The complex and buildings are distributed a wide area so you may face and see different views

Wonderful place to visit. Unfortunately, they don't have English guides on weekdays, but only on weekends. But we were able to walk around freely through the entire campus. The old coal mine, factory, and machinery looked majestic. A very beautiful place indeed. If you are around Essen, I would recommend this place to visit. And a beautiful location for your photoshoot as well.

An interesting Place to visit which grants you a look into the past. There is a lot to see, and tours to be taken. Whether you are young or old, want to walk a lot or not, there is something for everyone. A lot to look at, a lot to explore. You can walk around the premises and take a look at the different sites or take the bus.
There is a variety of restaurants and cafes all over the area if you get hungry or thirsty in the meantime.
There is plenty of parking so that you should easily find a spot whenever you come. Alternatively the site is easily to reach by public transport.
Overall if you are interested in the industrial times you should definitely give this place a visit when you are around.

What an amazing place of industrial heritage. One can only try to imagine this site bustling with activity, 8000 people on site and the noise and smell and dust and dirt. All this started by Franz Haniel to mine the black gold. We benefited from a well informed tour guide who helped to bring this to life, highly recommended since this gives you access to buildings equipped with sound and video installations.

Informative and well designed museum about the Ruhr area. The museum includes a great viewpoint of the surrounding area and a socio-historic overview of the area. Only reason why it isn't 5 stars is because it felt a bit propagandistic as the environmental impact of the mining industry was barely mentioned. Regardless it is still worth a visit.

Very nice museum, the workers are polite and they have app which has language options to explain everything to you. 3 different time zone museums and extra football museum. From my taste, you should directly go downstairs 12m start with the history (past) museum, i find that s more interesting. In present section lot of photos and not useful information just items. It has wifi and toilet everywhere. For child under 5 age, student whose under 25 its FREE. So enjoy

The tickets fares are rather confusing. We went on a day where the Red dot Museum was closed. So we only visited the Rhur Museum.
I recommend the fare that includes the permanent, the special, and the temporary exhibition. As you have to walk and travel up and down the many floors inside the museum on both sides. There is a rooftop for taking pictures of the monument. But only stairs. Each floor they check if you have the correct ticket so I recommend you take the all-included one as you walk a lot up and down the stairs.
Permanent exhibition is about history of the industrial complex and collections. The temporary exhibition is currently about football.

I absolutely loved walking around here, an amazing place, the scale of the factory is mind blowing. Chances are if you’re near here you’re heading for the Ruhr museum, if so definitely take the time to visit this site it’s right opposite the museum you won’t be disappointed. Was very quiet when I visited in November but I’m certain it gets busier when the weather is not so cold

I love this place and can relate to it to be an UNESCO world heritage. It's absolutely impressive and stunning. As a German I didn't even know what was here to see. Dimensions are huge and the industrial style to me looks surreal. I will definitely come back to see more and make a guided tour. There is a lot of industrial history here.

Good Castle near City. Calm and chill place for a walk in the evening.
Movie Park, located in Bottrop-Kirchhellen, Germany, is a popular amusement park with a movie theme. Divided into seven Hollywood-themed zones such as Hollywood Street Set and Nickland, the park offers a variety of family-friendly and thrilling rides, live shows, mazes, and audiovisual attractions based on famous movies and TV shows. Visitors can enjoy 4D cinema experiences like Ice Age or explore mazes inspired by The Walking Dead using real sets from the show.
This amusement park never fails to impress during the Halloween horror festival after 6:00. The atmosphere was great. A lot of things to do a lot of shows to see. Keep in mind all the shows are to be paid separately.During the day, it was really crowded. The waiting time for the rides was between 45 and 90 minutes so it's good to invest in a speedy pass sometime. A lot of options for food and drinks and overall a great experience for the day out.

1. I was trying to book in advance through the website and I couldn’t complete the payment due to an unknown error. The ticket was 34 euros but due to this error I booked on spot ticket worth 52 euros.
2. The park is small in size and fewer rides than expected.
3. Waiting time for any ride was 30 minutes on average in the peak time.
4. Waiting time for restaurant was 30 minutes.
5. The parking slots was about 20 minutes walking with kids.
6. I was expecting more shows and appearances of paw patrol characters ended up with 10 minutes show and 1 appearance in the park for only 2 characters chase and sky.
7. Overall good.

It is really great place for both adults and children, more importantly, the price is totally worty, we came on Friday, not a lot of people, waiting time for play is just 3-5 minutes, I love SpongeBob, I am totally immersed in this theme park. Fully recommend.

Lots of attractions and great value for the money you pay for the entry ticket.
Since there’s lots of people i would definitely recommend to bring some snacks and nibbles. I waited 1.5hrs to get a subway so having some extra food is a must.

Hard to review this place as it has two personalities, on one side its a very good theme park with some fun and themed rides and shows, on the other it's a badly maintained fairground with some awful rides (Bandit and the inverted coaster, I'm looking at you).
It needs an overhaul in both the Santa Monica and Nickelodeon areas tbh, better rides and better theming.
Also ride times, not shown anywhere so you have to join queues and hope, on the day we went that was fine as it wasn't overly busy, most we queued was 25 minutes but I can see it being a nightmare on busier days.
Also ride operations, one car on Star Trek which is ridiculous and causes lengthy unnecessary delays.
Food is terrible and expensive, waited an hour for fast food burgers, stood watching slow incompetent staff incapable of following order sequence numbers, by the time we got the burgers they were cold and unappealing. We did consider the buffet at Van Helsing but in reality it wasn't a buffet as you still chose a main course, the whole thing was confusing with a dark half empty eating hall.
I can't say we didn't enjoy our visit, we did but the place needs serious work or money throwing at it.
Simon Mabury — Google review
A great amusement park to spend the day with friends or family. It has a lot of rides that cater to thrill-seekers of all ages. It’s a huge park so one day may not be sufficient if you want to get on all the rides. Also coming early is recommended because on some rides you’ll have to wait for at least 30 minutes, be prepared for the long waits that could be frustrating sometimes. A downside would be that the rides are way too short, a few more minutes would have been awesome.
The food there is obviously very expensive and it’s not even worth it, so you’re better off packing your lunch by yourself or getting a meal somewhere outside. The cleanliness and maintenance of the park is worth mentioning, it was truly very clean. I have to say i went during the week, on a school day so it wasn’t very crowded but that’s not the typical experience there. To sum up, i highly recommend this park, it’s definitely worth it.

Good: Went with my family for 2 days and really loved it..Fantastic Rides, Night Rollercoaster experience, Halloween Horror Festival, Horror House, Live DJ, Overnight stay package.
Not soo good: Very crowded (especially in the weekends), very long waiting times for food and rides, no indication of wait time for rides, exiting the parking during park closure was a nightmare (took 45 minutes for us to just leave the parking), most of the staff don't speak English.
Sriram Bonda — Google review
Quite a nice themepark, the moment you step in you actually get the feeling you are in a different world. Lots of different attractions, but the main star of this park, are the shows. There are several shows to see in pretty good quality. You don't wanna miss the Magic show.
Only not so good things in this park are mostly the opening times. Already open the park late and close quite early. Even after opening some things open later, which makes no sense.
Today also lots of attractions, store and restaurants never opened. Maybe due to the shortage of workers?
Even though those downsides we were lucky on a not so busy day, so low waiting times. But without the Magic and stunt show the park would be rated 2 out of 5, with all the closed entertainment.
Alex — Google review
It's a less than mediocre place. It may have adequate roller coasters, but the place is dirtier than Los Angeles. So many rides are out of order, everything in there (including the entry fee) is as over priced as hail and the service is painfully slow and just an overall freaking pain. Also if you have patience issues, you might not wanna go there, because you'll have to wait 20-80 minutes to go on a ride, while smelling dirty as hail people who shower twice a week. To put it shortly that place is inadequate and a waste of your precious life time.

Very nice park with lots of activities for kids and adults. The park is well splitted into two distinct parts, Nickland for smaller children with their parents and the other side for the older kids and adults. We were there for Halloween, so during the day it was just a normal themepark with some Halloween decoration, but as of 6:30pm came in the actors for Halloween to interact with the visitors or just scare them by surprise.
Giovanni Bekaert — Google review
Great theme park, although during Halloween, some of the shops or food places were closed which was a shame, also the Chupacabra and the walking dead attraction were not open 🤔
The theme park is only 6 minutes by foot from the Feldhausen station which is very convenient. You can also buy online two souvenir drinking cups with an all you can drink offer, which is actually great deal. There are soda machines in the park where you can refill your cup and choose from many options of soda!

Nice park for max 2 days. We recommend to use the discount tickets or actions via the website or Facebook. It really helps to reduce your expenses. During the Halloween period the park is changed to set the right scene.

Service was great from the service center. Toilet rooms have warm water and we're kept clean. However during our visit there was a cheerleading championship. Lines were very busy, and average waiting time was 70 minutes. After spending 120 euros for 2 tickets, it is optional to buy a fast pass for around 40 per person. This decrease your waiting time by more than 70% which is nuts. I do not recommend going to park on busy days, especially without an expensive fast pass. Which means on average you would need to spend 250 for 2 persons, food, tickets and fast passes. I'd rather stay at a 4 star hotel for a whole day than visit this park on a busy day.
Ryan Hupkens — Google review
A great family park to visit for spending a day or 2. The park has many rides for different types and depending upon the type, safety instructions are displayed to indicate who can sit and who can't. The ticket would be worth if the whole park and it's rides are enjoyed as it's quite a big park and 1 day may seem not sufficient so 2 day plan would be great for full redemption of ticket. Full day parking costs 8 euros and upon closing time, the qué of cars is quite long. Recommended to visit especially for families who may want a family day out.
Khurram Shehzad — Google review
A huge amusement park, more than enough for a day or two. It has rides that are suitable for different ages and a lot of souvenir shops and fast food places that will make you part with your money. Our toddler was most interested in Paw Patrol rides and would also happily visit the Paw Patrol Central station, but alas, we didn't get the special ticket for it (it is sold separately and they were sold out). I liked the Santa Monica part a lot - it provided a water playground which was very welcome on a hot day. The western part was also pretty authentic and would I think provide nice photo opportunities; pity we only got there late in the day.
There are also special shows in some of the pavilions so it is better to acquaint yourself with the schedule beforehand and have a plan. With a small child, it didn't make sense for us, but if he was older, I would certainly do so

This is a great place to visit out of the regular tourist hotpots in NRW and be ready to spend at least half a day, since just the walk inside the castle will take around 3 hours.
Visiting the place is a great opportunity to have an impression of what a real middle-ages castle was, and albeit this is surely not the most famous castle in Germany, you will still be amazed particularly if you are not from Europe as in my case (keep in mind that a fraction of the building is covered due to restauration works).
The background of the castle story, shown in the top of the main tower is told in german with english subtitles. However the museum is in german only. Also in every level down from the top of the tower you have the chance to watch a video explaining more details of the timeline. All of those videos are in german only. Because of this I suggest you visit with a German that can help with translation.
After leaving the castle you will have the chance to visit the souvenir shop (where the entry tickets are sold) and have a meal in the restaurants nearby, or a waffle with ice cream. Additionally you can enjoy some leisure walks in the surrounding areas, which include the town itself, forest and rivers. So visiting the Burg Castle and surroundings can turn into a wonderful full-day visit.
I totally recommend it if you want to explore a more rural and typical german place out of the typical hotspot for tourists!

On the territory you can find a playground for kids.

A very small museum on the hill. The ticket costs 6 euro for adults. The only problem is, the guide will randomly occupy some exhibition room and ask others out.
I tried to get in the exhibition room. The guide, rudely and impatiently asked me out. I asked how long will it take and he said 5 minutes. So I took a rest for 5 minutes and they are not going to finish their guide. I said I would like to visit and this guide seems to get mad. He shouted to me that I am disturbing their guide and should visit some other exhibitions first.
Thank you for your advice sir. I will definitely do so if it was a bigger museum so I have anything else to see.
Maybe the museum should give some hint before selling their tickets. "Our guide has first priority and will occupy random rooms for random time. Complaint about it? Shut up and get out."

Museum Folkwang is a major art museum with a large collection of 19th and 20th century paintings. It has its own photography wing, and an impressive extension designed by David Chipperfield Architects.
It was a very worthwhile exhibition of major impressionists, Renoir, Monet, Gauguin, and numerous other period artists. Good downloadable audio tour available for free. The exhibition is based on the private collections of two late 19th century industrialists and art collectors, one German, one Japanese. Pre-booking tickets are required.

Easily my favourite visit in Essen. Small as art museums go, but the architecture suits the work well, it's light and airy and quiet. Collection is diverse and I liked that it wasn't split by art movement like in a lot of museums (it's curated by mood and theme). They had a super fascinating ranking of provenance in some of the collection which I would like to see picked up as a methodology in more museums, and the explanation gave a rare and valuable insight into the working of museums, which felt really special. Also, they had a Barnett Newman, which I did not know going in, and it's breathtaking.
Rather excessive number of security guards here though (like 2-3 per room??!), and one of them kept pacing across the room and back again and snorting which was a little distracting in a quiet museum 😅 Staff on the front desk and Garderobe were very kind however and generally an enjoyable visit 😊

The Folkwang museum has an exciting architecture, continuously combining interior and exterior, deliberately presenting the exhibition halls as a maze, interjecting reading and rest areas, enticing one to just wander around and discover. Great collection of German Expressionists. I came to Essen especially to see this museum and stayed for 2 days, it is that good! And the direction decided to keep entrance free, as a gift to art lovers.

Disorder and lack of coherent display of artworks.
The spaces of this museum are actually huge, but they are not rationally exploited:
The managers have tried to mix in the same room , for example, an ancient Egyptian statue next to the expressionism artworks : There is no clear meaning in doing this . The visitors have no chance to understand where is the logical or historical link between ancien Egypt statuary and Expressionismus. This is just one of the many examples I collected during my visit.
Nolde is in one room, then in another and moreover in another. But there is no Leitmotiv in such a display , no chronology and no link among artworks.
Frankly it gives the impression of visiting a storeroom.
Folkwang in the past was better placed when organising an exhibition on ONE artist or on ONE mainstream school of artists.
But its permanent collection, albeit on rotation of artworks, has deceived me beyond any expectations.
We are however grateful for the kindness from the museum managers to let the admission free of charge.

Emblematic collection in a gorgeous building. The folkwang collection tells the story of early 20th century art and it's problematic treatment during WW2. Plus holds contemporary exhibition of great renown.
It's a busy place, schools, busses with visitors,... But they tend to stick to the big exhibits and not the rest of the collection.
Also worth mentioning: well stocked and original museum shop!

Given that this is a free museum, we were very impressed with how well managed, organized, and clean the entire place was. A large permanent exhibition with a current exhibition celebrating 100 years to the collection. The museum has many pleasant spaces, there's a lot to see but also places to take a pause or rest. Many highlights, in and out the special exhibition for which you stand in line and pay 14€
The permanent exhibition is for free! Because one of us is impressionism fan, we took the line and paid for RENOIR, MONET, GAUGUIN - but also without that, I'd enjoy the visit.

Really nice collection. Free entry.

The regular exhibition is free and is alone worth visiting. The building itself is modern and has many sitting areas to chill or take a break. Most staff are friendly but some are a bit stern. I personally don’t care about how and when the buyers aquired which paintings. But that was the focus of the text in the current main exhibition of Renoir, Monet, Gauguin.
Interesting to visit, however the visiting time is very limited and the 2G rule is there although it is outdoor.

(Translated by Google) It was absolutely beautiful. A lot to see. Terrain that is sometimes difficult for older people and yet very dark. But everything worked out. A great attraction for young and old. Price performance top! The physical well-being was also provided in abundance at affordable prices. Toilets clean 👍🏼 Tip: Use the side entrances and book the tickets in advance. Then it's a walk through, the parking lot on the side of the road was SO free. We'd love to come back.

There is also food and drink there, and the price-performance ratio of the entire event is reasonable. (Translated by Google) An event that you have to see if you come from the Ruhr area. We were there on a weekday and got a parking space straight away. We had already booked the tickets (adults €9) online and it was very quick at the entrance. Beautiful light events in different shapes and sizes. A great artist! You can also get mulled wine, coffee and bratwurst if you're slightly hungry. A bratwurst in a bun for €4 is reasonable. It took us about 1 1/2 to 2 hours and it was a nice trip ;-)

(Translated by Google) Beautiful light installations. Really great for 2-3 hours to walk and switch off. I would only recommend this to a limited extent with children. At the end there are lights in a park. There is no interaction to speak of. This probably makes it quickly uninteresting for children.
1 star less because there are no signposts. If you don't know your way around the park, you'll quickly find yourself in front of an exit that's not the one you came in through. That might have to be changed.

(Translated by Google) A highlight in Grugapark is the evening park lights. Entry to Grugapark is NOT free. There are a few toilets in the park and the on-site parking spaces are completely overcrowded, so you have to park a little outside and walk quite a bit to the entrances.
The park lights are lovingly made, especially for children, and combine (light) art with outdoor exercise.
Definitely recommended!

It's a very good experience for a one time ride. The trains were nice and clean. Lines are beautifully constructed over the central canal through the city. The views of the surrounding hills are also nice.
Tips: The tail end seats offer the best views. It's a bit noisy ride.

I was told about this suspension railway and recommended to try it. I joined at Kluse (one stop down from the main train station, next to the cinema) and grabbed a ticket - although cheap (only 1.70) I found the machine doesn't take credit card, so come prepared with coins.
The railway isn't big - only two carriages - but they are pretty frequent so if you miss one (or it's full), you don't have long to wait for the next. The carriages have been modernised: they're brightly-lit with clean seats that don't look worn in any way. Sitting at the back gives a good view down the river and along the roads during the trip, but as I tried it last evening in winter most of my trip was quite dark.
I travelled south-west all the way to Vohwinkel (the terminal stop) where it's possible to see the other carriages parked, so there's quite a few cars. I then grabbed the one on the other side and travelled back the other way.
Quite leisurely, a pretty smooth ride and fairly quick, given the age of the technology. Well worth the trip!
A superb museum about Piet Mondriaan, who spent his early years in Winterswijk, in the villa he lived in. Small, but packed with his early paintings, films, but none of the later cubist style. There is a café and shop, also temporary exhibitions. Helpful staff, and right in the centre of this busy but still quaint town.

Piet Mondriaan, nowadays a worldwide renowned and admired artist 👩🎨 spent his youth (1880 to 1892) in his parental home on Zonnebrink 4 in Winterswijk. His father had acquired a position as the Director of the School of Christian National Instruction and lived with his family in the villa directly next to the school building. Piet’s father and uncle Frits Mondriaan taught Piet basic knowledge on drawing and painting.

cute exhibitions but quite expensive considering the size of the museum. we payed 12€ for about 30 mins we spent inside looking at the whole exhibition. the artworks were nicely presented and described well.

I had the honour to document Michelle Son's installation here. It is a small scale museum, that part of it is dedicated to the life of young Mondriaan that used to come to this family house and draw from nature. The program is diverse and interesting! Nice small museum on the early life of Mondriaan. Do not expect his modern work, but you get a glimpse of how he his transition went from a classical style to his abstract style.
A museum that tells the story of human evolution over four million years, the Neanderthal Museum features displays on the evolution of man. The museum is located in a valley where fossils of the Neanderthal man were first found, making it a monument to commemorate this first evidence of human evolution.
Excellent museum. It has various exhibits, multimedia installations, audio presentations, and informational texts. The audio guide is available in English and German and explains everything is a very interesting way.
Padmini M S — Google review
On the whole the focus lays more on kids than on adults - which is certainly a good thing and also very understandable since the original finding place has dissapeared and the remains are in another museum. It still remains a nice and interesting place to visit.
Eric Clabau — Google review
A nice collection of recreations, and explanation of human evolution. I had hoped to see the real neanderthal remains, but no, just casts. The overlook site marks the location where the remains were found, before the area was fully blown up by miners, but you cannot walk into the cave where the discovery took place. The train was down, so bus required, and not explained well - the museum should do more too explain this to potential visitors that are unfamiliar with German buses.

Every time I go here, something new is happening, and the exhibition has always been interesting. Now they have lockers in the basement with power outlets inside for phone charging. Next to the lockers, they have kindly provided bottle warmers and a bottle heater for parents with babies. The archeological dig site (a sandbox with a partial skeleton to be discovered at the bottom) is the biggest hit with smaller children, and the scale of time and human evolution is discussed in ways that are engaging for older (probably school-age) children to adults.
The current special exhibition about Greenland provides a relaxing space with bean bags and views of the scenery on projector. In the walk-through part, my daughter and I enjoyed learning about the different animals that live there, including feeling samples of their fur.
Most museums don't charge entrance fees for children under 6, but Neanderthal Museum does. However, regular visits pay off for small children who want to run through quickly and direct attention differently each time. In this case, a Düsseldorf art::card pays for itself after the second visit, and one can be bought on site.

Great Museum with excellent explanations for kids and adults. Super nice playground across the street.

The museum has lockers available for visitors to drop off their items for 0.5 euro, and it takes about 1.5 hours to explore all the exhibits. There is a cave outside the museum, but I do not recommend visiting it because it is artificial and not satisfying. Overall, the museum has some interesting features, but the cave(Fundstelle) may not be worth the visit.
A. Faruk UNAL — Google review
The museum is very nice for everybody, but especially if you like the human prehistoric.
Includes descriptions in both language German and English, but also if you go with a kid is very kid-friendly, and easy to find parking and also by train (even if it is a bit far from the station). For me, it makes it very special to the fact that the museum is located very close to the Neander Valley the place where the Neandertal was found.
However, from my point of view, the museum is a bit small, and going there so far only for the museum maybe it is a bit disappointing. But if you include the outside activities like the hiking route that takes you to the Neander Valley, or the park for the kids, it is quite worthy.

Overall I just roamed around the outer area and liked the creativity.
Good place but better for history fans.

Really well done interior. Interesting displays and nice voice acting. I loved the educational aspect. Giving it a 4 star due to the kerfuffle of parking (small parking lot with not enough spaces) and unclear on the lines for online tickets versus purchasing tickets on-site at the entrance. Also, the kids audio was only German despite English headphones. My son was able to listen to the adult version in English, but I’m sure it wasn’t as exciting. 3 floors. Kids excitement sprinkled in such as boring into wood with tools and a small excavation sandbox. Cool gift shop and very nice outdoor playground.
Please note there is nudity. Tasteful of course and wasn’t an issue for my 8 year old son.
Krystal Hsu — Google review
A great museum with a lot of worthy exhibitions. And many things for children to join and play. The only pity is that the language choices are not many. For foreign children, only German and English are not enough, at least Dutch audio guide should be available there. But in general, it’s great. Worthy to take 2 hours inside, even it’s not a very big museum, though.

The Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord is a unique destination in the Ruhr region, featuring a former metalworks transformed into a sprawling landscape park. Visitors can enjoy cycling trails, diving, climbing and high ropes activities amidst the contrast of lush greens and towering factory buildings. This impressive example of industrial tourism offers stunning views from atop one of its towers or chimneys.
A landscape park different from what we generally visit. The huge factory buildings in contrast with the greens make a beautiful combination. You can climb on one of the towers/Chimneys and have a good glimpse of the town. It’s one of a kind experience and a must visit.! A place that can be enjoyed by everyone.

Former steel factory now a very nice park. They did a great job of maintaining it and made many of the spaces accessible with just a few design tweaks. Exploring on your own is enjoyable. You can climb up to the top of one of the towers to get a view of the area while learning about the previous factory processes.

This site is amazing, a former steel manufacturing factory with many historic buildings and equipment turned into an open park with lots of different facilities like restaurants, picnic areas, play grounds, viewing points and much more. All the old factory buildings and equipment are very impressive and part of the park has recently even been used as the filming location for the latest Hunger Games film The Balled of Songbirds and Snakes. Worth a visit for the whole family.

Amazing. Refreshing "alternative " to a typical park. Entry is free and there is plenty of place to picnic. Toilets are abundant. Even toddlers can have a goo time on the ground level. All ok the ground is stroller-Ok. There are no elevators, so going up is on 2 legs.
One improvement opportunity: more e car charging stations! The 2 that were there were either defective or you couldn't charge.....

Very impressive and interesting scenery of an ancient time during industrialization. Many buildings seem to be in very good condition even though nature is taking over with grass and plants. Some buildings can be climbed up to 70m with steps for incredible views.
Additionally you'll find some playgrounds for kids and some places to snack.

I think this place, which used to be a forge, was closed due to high costs and expensive labor. It was opened to visitors after the necessary precautions were taken. It has been turned into a public park. From the top of the tower, the whole of North Rhine Fesvalism is visible. It also has a cinema for children where old videos of the park and the forge are broadcast. Moreover, you can see amazing lights at night.

For someone interested in industrial heritage of NRW and industrial processes in general this is a must! Apart from that, from a landscape architects point of view also quite interesting! Nature taking over such a uninviting industrial space is very reassuring to see, possibly mankind has a chance of survival! A little or not so little piece of steel industry history. Free to park and lots to see. In the car park alone there bit and piece of interest. Then you wander across the road, and the adventure really gets going. We climb furence number 5 to see the views. Walked along gantries to see the size and immense power of the heat and steam produced to create steel. Then there is an area turned into climbing walls and walking route to stretch the legs. At least 2 toliet blocks and a cafe. Agreat stop for the whole family to explore.

The Cologne Zoological Garden is a large and well-established zoo with many animals in their natural habitats. It is especially interesting for animal enthusiasts, as it features the Aquarium, Rainforest House, Jungle House, Elephant Park, Owl Monastery, Hippodom and the Monkey Rock.
One of the best maintained zoo that we have visited. Inspite of being in the middle of the city (I envy the houses which are along the boundary of the Zoo and can watch the adorable animals from their homes) there is ample space for the animals and birds to be housed. The aquarium has an amazing collection of fishes and reptiles. If you book your tickets online you also get to travel on the local train / bus transport for free from Bonn to Köln. Definitely a place to visit while in Köln or Bonn
Anantha Iyer — Google review
Without question, this is certainly one of the best zoos I have ever been to. The animals have big habitats and lots of space, with the ability to disappear from public view if they feel like it. This zoo is home to so many animals, and I was impressed to see that they even harbor a rare breed like the snow leopard.
They offer multiple opportunities to stop for food and drinks, from small food stands selling fries and icecream to a restaurant offering multiple lunch options, cold as well as hot drinks, and dessert. Benches are scattered all throughout the zoo, meaning if you want to sit down and just admire the animals or simply take a break, you always can.
As I implied at the beginning, this zoo is rather huge. Therefore I would advise you to plan accordingly for the entire day. There is just too much to see, and you simply can’t cover all of it in two hours. My stay lasted for about six hours. Also, please note that the bird show is closed during winter season.
To summarize this review, I had a great day here and I absolutely loved it. If you are contemplating on visiting this zoo, I can only highly recommend it.

Very nice zoo, animals look like they are cared for with love. Only downside was that there were only 2 restaurants open in the zoo, with 30+ degrees. Would be better to have more places to be able to drink or sit with hot weather.

Visited Sunday when many places in Germany are closed. Easy walking distance of the centre (just walk up the river for ease). Reasonably priced, not huge, but good selection of animals including small aquarium and very well laid out. I particularly liked how the locals stick to the main route and direction so not fighting against the foot traffic. Signs perhaps a little lacking in English but is a German zoo.

One of the best zoos we have been to. The admission fee was reasonable and under the bridge, right across the street from the entrance, is a bunch of parking that was only 5 euro. We enjoyed the sea lion show, we were amazed at how well they could catch frisbees and balance balls. The food inside the zoo was also reasonably priced. The zoo got a little crowded, but that is to be expected on a Saturday.

The train station is directly infront of the place so it is easily accessible. There are different places allocated to the animals according to their place of origin or their environment so it is exciting to go from one to another and spend your time. It is difficult to clearly evaluate a visit to this Zoo. On the one hand, it is large, but on the other it seems empty in terms of development. On the one hand, there are beautifully decorated "jungles" in several buildings, on the other hand, the outside area itself is rather gray and ugly. For part of the visit you seem to see more plastic animals than real ones, and for the next part you see animals in much greater numbers than in other Zoos. For example, a huge number of Elephants and various monkeys. In many places there is practically no visibility, but there are places where animals seem literally within reach. And this Zoo is full of such unequal aspects. The price also seems to be a bit high compared to what other zoos in the area offer, with cheaper tickets. Overall, it is worth a visit here, but there are definitely better options within 60 km.

My visit to Cologne Zoo in 2014 was an enjoyable and memorable experience that left me impressed with the wide variety of animals and the overall layout of the zoo. It offered a great day out for families and nature enthusiasts, but a few minor improvements could have made it an even better experience.
The diversity of animal species at the zoo was impressive, and I appreciated the efforts made to create natural and spacious enclosures for the animals. It was evident that the zoo's staff cared for the animals' well-being and conservation, which added to the experience.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the elephant enclosure. Watching these majestic creatures up close was a mesmerizing experience and one that I will cherish. Additionally, the tropical rainforest section was a treat, offering a glimpse into the lush habitats of various exotic species.
However, some areas of the zoo seemed slightly outdated and in need of renovation. The signage and information boards were not as informative or interactive as I would have liked, making it harder to fully understand the animals' backgrounds and conservation efforts.
Despite these minor drawbacks, Cologne Zoo is a commendable attraction, providing a fun and educational experience for visitors of all ages. With a bit of modernization and enhanced informational displays, it has the potential to become an even more exceptional destination for wildlife enthusiasts and families seeking a day of animal-filled adventure.

Very beautiful botanical garden with free entry to roam around; there's plenty of easy access routes to get in. Some smaller paths leading around the main building and grassy areas, benches. Highly recommended if in the area to enjoy the scenery here, as it's very well maintained.

Great park, even during winter.
A large botanical greenhouse is currently under construction, expected to be finished in 2022.
Free toilets are available on site.

Very beautiful garden. Highly recommend to visit if you are in Köln.
The garden is free and well organized. You can have a relaxing walk inside.
It’s not too hot in summer neither because there are trees along with the paths.

Very pleasant and pretty. Nice variety of flowers and they are in the progress of expanding. No ticket needed to enter and there is a small cafe on the grounds.

Great botanical garden and it’s FREE! There are many places to take pictures within the park or picnic. Be advised it’s a botanical garden and you can’t sit or walk on the grassy areas. There’s plenty of benches to sit on. There’s a nice cafe with small dishes in the main building of the garden if you work up and appetite. We spent about an hour to an hour and a half touring the garden.
Right next to the zoo. Easiest way to get three is via the 18 to the Zoo Fauna stop.

I was here with my girlfriend. It’s very close to the Zoo which is another place worth checking out. This garden isn’t very big but it’s lovely. Very serene, a large number of trees, flowers and plants. Highly recommend visiting the herbs garden, it smells amazing. Unfortunately the garden wasn’t fully open because they are renovating but what we did see was very very nice. Plus the little fountain + waterfall is such a nice spot to chill. Did I mention it’s free? 😊

Really beautiful botanical garden, easily reachable with public transport. One of the best places in Cologne to take a walk and enjoy the blooming flowers and vegetation and escape the heat. You can go around some wonderful fountains and lakes because the garden has a good layout for casual walks.

This park is huge!! I brought my own picnic... Sadly I wasn't allowed to sit on the grass... But there are more than enough benches to sit throughout the park in the shadows or with plenty of sun. I've spent a few hours here walking around, sitting & enjoying the view, the calmness... If you're lucky you'll find a quiet place to even meditate!
Oh yeah it took me some time to find the exit too 🫣

A lovely park with a lush garden and a medieval like hotel / event venue and a cafe with beautiful views. At the cafe they pack a little picnic basket to enjoy when you get hungry while exploring different collections of plants, critters and sculptures 🧺
AQUALAND is a huge indoor water park just outside of Cologne, Germany with pools, slides and a spa area. It is also home to 11 saunas and a Turkish hammam. Adults can also access the ice grotto and more for an additional fee.
The place was fully packed, but still quite nice. We didn't have free chairs to sit on, so we left earlier than planned. There are pools with different water temperatures, bubble pools, saunas, and hot spots. Lunch was also nice, there is fresh food, but all fat and fast food. The kitchen staff is nice, cashiers also nice.

I'm writing this review to share my terrible and unsafe experience at the waterpark, particularly for tourists like myself.
We initially bought our tickets online, only to be informed by the front desk staff that they were unable to scan tickets from a phone and required a physical copy. They then directed us to print the ticket upstairs for a euro. Despite expressing that we only had a card and no cash, we received no prior information about their cash-only policy. Frustratingly, the staff member scanned the printed ticket with ease, something she could've done with the phone, leading me to believe that we were misled into paying a euro unnecessarily.
The park is in dire need of renovations. The majority of its features were rusty and the overall condition was far from impressive. Perhaps it was an attractive spot in the 2010s, but it's evident that regular updates are crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction.
Another point of dissatisfaction was that we bought access to both swimming pools and saunas, but the website failed to mention that the saunas were for nude use only. As someone uncomfortable with such a setting, I felt as if I paid for a service I didn't use. Additionally, the reception staff was impolite, raising their voice while explaining that such a setup was acceptable for Germans. Although this might be common knowledge to locals, as a tourist, I was caught off guard due to a lack of clear information on their website.
We also tried out the waterslides, specifically the Aquaconda, which proved to be alarmingly dangerous. There was no staff member regulating the number of people on the slide at any given time, and this, combined with reckless behavior by some of the park's younger patrons, resulted in a highly dangerous situation. We collided with several others on the slide due to a lack of organization and oversight. Following this incident, the slide was shut down after two hours, citing another issue.
Lastly, the placement of the smoking area was abysmal. The door of the smoking area opened directly into the indoor water slide area, filling it with smoke. As a non-smoker, I found this extremely off-putting, and I was surprised to see that this was the area where most children congregated.
Thankfully, I purchased discounted tickets. If I'd paid full price, I would have demanded a refund.
In summary, this waterpark left a lot to be desired. It's run-down, the staff is unhelpful, and it reeks of cigarette smoke. Plus, the waterslides are rusty. I would not recommend it.

Went there yesterday for the first time. At first glance it seems really small but it has a lot to offer.
The reason I can only give it 3 stars is because it’s soooo outdated and looks rundown. There are amethyst stones everywhere which makes you wonder who would ever come up with it?!
Rust due to lack of paint or no maintenance is also something that gives it an outdated look.
The fact that 3 out of 7 slides were under construction was a big disappointment!
Also the jets for the water rapids were not turned on the whole time we stayed there.
R Con — Google review
For students it is beneficial to go on a Thursday cause of the 50% discount you get. There is a laser show at 8 pm but it's nothing too special. They play the most common German songs during that show. But the rides are super fun and you can definitely have a good time.

Horrible experience for a female visitor. There are almost no lifeguards at the slides so people will try to skip in front of you. Apparently other visitors don't believe in personal space as I was pushed several times and little children kept crashing into me halfway down a slide. One of my friends ended up with a bleeding elbow because a group of childish men kept waiting in the middle of the slide so people would crash into them. While I was waiting for my friends in the main pool area, groups of men AND middle schoolers kept bothering me and making me uncomfortable, I ended up sitting on a chair crying one hour into my visit because I felt so horrible. Not worth the money at all because the floor and the chairs are very dirty as well. Never coming here again, would give zero stars if possible.

Unfortunately this swimming pool was a bit disappointing. Due to the high price (€24 for 4 hours) our expectations were high but they were not satisfied. The pool can be quite busy and during the whole afternoon there was a penetrant urine-smell near all toilets and changing rooms, the hygiene was not up to standard. Furthermore, the pool itself is quite dated, missing tiles, things not working, etc. There are a few wellness amenities available but because there are so many people (including children) it’s not really possible to relax. I would not advise to visit this pool.

Nice swimming pool with cool slides. Clean, bit cold outside of water. Employees speak only german and not everyone is nice (i look at you middle aged lady in glasses and children's hair clips). What broke me was the local people. On the photo is line of locals at 8.30...aqualand opens at 9.00. You can not reserve so you need to stand in 2 hour line.

Great spa with many fun water slides. Very nice and kids friendly pools. The only unpleasant thing there were the staff. Starting from the angry two women at the cashier desk through the restaurant personnel. Only because of their rudeness 1 star less from the top.
Sergey Petkov — Google review
Holidaying in Germany with a group of friends we decided to visit Aqualand. I was a bit dubious after reading the reviews but we greatly enjoyed our visit. The pools were clean and well maintained, we saw staff regularly testing the chemical levels in the pools to keep them clean. Toilets and changing rooms were also kept clean all day, I did notice the smell mentioned in previous reviews, I believe it to be coming from the drain at the bottom of the stairs leaving the pool area which I appreciate is out of the control of staff to fix and is contained to that one small area. We found the slides to be incredibly fun even if the drop slide wasn’t working on our visit, we did have to queue for them occasionally but as it’s the school holidays we expected this. We did not however queue to enter the facility. The only negative I can find was that there are not enough sunbeds outside to go around, it would be helpful if staff enforced a policy to not allow guests to hold sunbeds when not in use. Whilst I was able to secure one, I noticed a large number of sunbeds being reserved with towels on them in which no returned to. If staff regularly removed towels and prevented people from reserving them there would be more to go around for when people actually want to use them.

We were on our way back from France and this was a welcome surprise and reward to our family after so many hours in the car before. Our kids (10 and 12) enjoyed the slides and we had a good time together. However, having been in some bigger Aquaparks in Europe elsewhere I agree to the comments from other reviews - the place needs a makeover. We went there on a weekday around 6 pm and it was busy but not crowded.

Swimming pool and slides are great! Sauna experience was bad. A steff member left the door wide open for minutes after refilling the water. I had to close it myself, happened twice. My feet are still burning because of the bad floor covers. Not relaxing at all.

This place seems famous among Luxembourgers (like Phantasialand) so I visited to go see for myself.
First good thing, the parking is free and its right next to the highway. The building looks nice and stylish.
I took a 4h pass (~30€) for the pool & slide area only (wellness and sauna area is extra), and got a wristband. The unisex changing rooms were spacy and regularly cleaned. Showers are clean, though there was some maintenance going on.
The water park was at medium capacity I'd say (arrived at 12 o'clock).
The large main dome had many long chairs to sit down. There was also an unusual large amount of whirlpools/Jacuzzi spots, which I liked. The dome features a nice pool that winds around, I thought the water was a bit turbid though (but thats honestly the case in almost every public pool). Also there was lots of hair, especially in the pools where the waterslides end.
The Erlebnisgrotte was nicely themed, though it was rather chilly since maintenance was going on. The steam room was nice though. On the other side there is another grotto but with a hot water pool, that one was pretty popular and always packed.
The outdoor pool was cool, check out the salt water pool. Although I wish the salt water pool would be accessible from the indoor area.
The slide dome already looks impressive: its like a maze of slides inside. All slides were 0-7min waits. The trapdoor loop slide was always a walk-on, I guess people were too scared haha. I enjoyed it (also witnessed a few guys getting rescued from the escape hatch). Aquaconda was pretty cool especially with its uphill sections (rare in Germany). The double slide was ok, but nothing extraordinary. The Canyon slide was much more fun and thrilling than expected. Red star was surprisingly fun and fast. The bowl slide was also fun. I loved the Boomerang, very thrilling little thing. I also checked the new Rutschen-Dschungel which is cool but more for younger folks. I managed to get 4-8 rides on each slide
For lunch I had a currywurst and a slushy, price/quality was ok. Though I wish they'd update their payment method for the restaurant and poolbar, like its in some other places: wristband scanned when buying something and then paying when leaving the park. So you dont need to get your wallet out of your locker.
I totally recommend visiting this place, though check beforehand to avoid school holidays and weekends. This place can get packed, loud and rowdyish when you are there at the wrong time
M Hoffman — Google review
Great swimmingpool! It could use a little update but it is very nice.
Good points:
+ Bands for the lockers
+ Many slides
+ Waiting times are not too long
+ Water temp is good
+ Enough places to sit
+ Great choice of drinks at the restaurant
+ Poolparty with foam and candy (and music from 2010)
Bad points:
- You have to put money on the bands before paying instead of afterpay
- Bartender Cocktialbar wasn’t friendly and seemed in a bad mood
- Cocktails are just bottled, they don’t mix it
- Dirty floors
When you drive towards the swimmingpool through the city center there is a very very sneaky speedtrap (Willi-Suth-Allee).
Not very suitable for older people I think. But for us it was great (young adults).
Lara Mix — Google review
Gratuitously expensive without living up to essential criteria. The main purpose of the swimming pool is, off course, swimming! But in such a shallow anf crowded water? Kidding!
But if one is interested in sauna and jacuzzi, it's a perfect place to go. The price, however, as mentioned, is is prohibitingly high.

UPDATE: renovation in taking place. Nice bar in the pool. Get a token at the cash register. No cash in the water. Quality is rising. The food was hot and tasty. Looking forward to the new reopening. See pictures for a quick look.
Nice location to take a dive. Location is in the middle of a renovation. The old interior really needs an update. Have enjoyed this location a lot. Be aware. Drinks in the restaurant are quite expensive.

Melatenfriedhof is a serene graveyard recognized for its lush landscaping, notable burial grounds, and elaborate monuments. It exudes tranquility and offers visitors the opportunity to leisurely wander around for an hour or more while admiring the various gravesites. The cemetery's atmosphere is not somber like traditional graveyards but rather relaxing and peaceful. Additionally, it houses numerous artistic statues that add to its overall beauty.
Beautiful cemetery in the middle of Cologne! Easy to get to from the city center via street car (#1 or #7). My husband wanted to see the cemetery and its most famous monument, the grim reaper, after seeing a documentary about Melaten. We asked a few cemetery visitors how to locate the statue and they were helpful.

Tiger & Turtle is a distinctive and attractive landmark featuring a spiral sculpture and walkway made of steel and zinc. The unique design by Heike Mutter and Ulrich Genth offers impressive views from its elevated location, however, it may not be suitable for those with acrophobia. Visitors can easily find free parking nearby and enjoy the structure without any entrance fee or amenities like restrooms. Benches are available for seating while admiring the stunning pink flowers underneath.
Truly unique and beautiful place to visit. Really creative design. Easy to find a free parking place and just a short climb uphill to get there. Pretty neat views from up above. No entrance fee. A fun stop on the way to wuppertal. The structure is good to look at and fun to walk.
I stumbled on this attraction through a goggle search. We parked along the road for free. Then, we did a short up hill walk to the rollercoater looking structure.
Some people went straight up the grassy embankment, but we followed the more gentle path round.
When you step onto the structure, you decide which half to do first. It moves slightly with the breeze or the other people moving, and as you approach the gate where it is to steep to climb, you start to battle with your sense of what is safe. I suffer a little with a fear of heights, so I did not quite make it to the gate.
A good free stop to stretch the leg on a longer journey.

The story of the church goes back to Roman times when a soldier named Victor and serving in a Roman legion refused to sacrifice to the Roman gods. He was supposedly executed for this and later his bones were recovered and buried in a chapel in this place. The church now stands roughly in the place where the chapel once stood.
The inside has beautiful carved wooden panels with religious moitifs
In front of the church are some nice sculptures

Nice lady who knew her topic very well and made everything exciting for children. A must-visit for every Latin student!

One of the most beautiful and well created archeological site. The park is really huge. In trip advisor and various other review sites, people talk about spending nearly 3hrs here. Well, you need atleast a day to really feel and understand the history behind this place. The park could be entered through multiple entries which are primarily the 3 active gates of the park. The main attractions in the park are Hafentempel, Roemer Museum, Amphitheater and the walls and towers near the Amphitheater. There is a windmill in the middle of the park. It is converted into cafe and they don't allow people to go up to view from the terrace which is shame. Apart from that the entire archeological park is must see! It is only 800m from the railway station.

Unfortunately I felt a bit disappointed by the visit here. The site is actually well maintained and the staff are very helpful but I was unsure about the treatment of the archaeology still present on site in that according the guide the recreated structures have been built on top of the original (roman) remains.
I had a feeling this was to an extent the wrong way to treat and to clearly separate what was old and original and what was a recreation. Having said that the recreations are very good as far as I can determine but many of the people I overheard thought wrongly these were in fact true old roman structures.
The site is very large and there are very limited excavations visible (Mar 24). If you do go then make sure you also have a stroll around Xanten. St. Viktor is quite beautiful inside.

Even though this might not be for everyone, for those interested in history, with all levels of prerequisite knowledge, it's a great visit. The Zoo Kleve is a compact, family-friendly zoo featuring animal petting and feeding activities, along with a playground and snack facilities. The grounds of the zoo are particularly eye-catching, showcasing impressive views of follys and intricately placed statues that are fascinating to observe. The name "Kleve" may not be immediately recognizable to some, but it refers to an English king's fourth wife, Anna of Cleves.
A very detail-oriented, beautiful smaller zoo in the area of Emmerich, close to the Dutch border. The plates on each compound are both informative and not too extensive. The animals seem well and have a sufficient amount of space. Prices are fair.

Very striking grounds including remarkable vistas of follys and genuinely intriguing, fascinating ornately positioned statues.
One has often had the occasion to find themselves explaining their travels and visits to far-off cities such as Kleve. The name and its pronounciation may not, at first, be recognisable to listeners.
However, one mention of English king Henry the Eighth's 4th wife (but never royal consort), Anna of Cleves, all is recalled instantanly. Anna was a cool actor and always managed to keep her head when all were falling about her.

Verh nice zoo. The possibility of feeding the animals is a great option to interact with nature. Even though there are no wild animals and the zoo is not too big, I highly recommend it 🌺

One of my favorite places in Kleve. The zoo is in a great condition, the location is beautiful and the animals look very well taken care of. There’s a food truck with a decent variety of food. The toy shop has some adorable plushies. The zoo itself is quite small but it’s still a great place to visit. Additionally, the new red panda facility and play ground look beautiful!

What a lovely zoo! It's a nice size to take smaller kids, not too big/overwhelming, but still plenty of variety. Nice element: you can feed certain animals with special feed they sell, that's a lot of fun, and guarantees interaction (which is often lacking in normal zoos). Definitely recommended for a family day out!

What a wonderful find! This place is so nice to walk around. I went with my husband but its fantastic for children. You can feed the animals and its clear which ones you can and can't feed. They have so many animals that are easy to see and such a wide variety. The animals are well looked after. A superb day out that's great value for money.

We went to see the China Lights on a Friday evening. Overall the light installations were very nice, but the zoo itself was rather small with several areas closed due to reconstruction and we had seen everything after less than 1 hour (for €15 pp). There is only 1 food stall, where you get fries etc., so we went elsewhere for food.
I can imagine that the zoo is nice to visit with little kids, as they put a big focus on being able to feed the animals (e.g. several kinds of goats).

Spontaneous visit to this zoo in Germany, close by the border of The Netherlands. I really loved going to this zoo, it’s affordable (€6 for adults) and you can even buy food for the animals. The habitats are very large and you can come really close to the different animals and even pet them if they want to be petted. I had an amazing time and will definitely come back here (to see the red pandas)!

it was always nicer there. now there are Chinese lights for all this

A great place to go to with the kids. The staff are very nice and the animals are awesome as well. I can recommend this place if you are looking for a day outside. Most animals can be fed, you can by the food at the entrance of the Zoo.

Although Kleve is not a big city, just the fact that it has such a nice and diverse petting zoo is amazing on its own.
It starts with dears and goats... and it ends with seals, otters and red pandas. With many other species in between.
The price is very affordable and you can also buy small bags of ration to feed some of the animals, which is great not just for kids but for grown-ups too.
A wonderful place to spend a nice sunny morning or afternoon.
The Overloon War Museum is a large museum in the town of Overloon that focuses on WWII history, displaying military vehicles and weapons while also highlighting a local battle. The museum has been recently renovated and offers visitors the opportunity to learn about past wars, particularly WWII. One highlight of the museum is the Militracks Weekend held in May each year, which features displays of army vehicles, tanks, jeeps, and markets.
Initial exhibition area at the front of the museum is a wide open and quite sparsely populated. But as soon as you get to the large "storage hall" in the back that is where all the hardware is stored.
An excellent exhibit is the Lancaster that was dug up from the mud with all the pieces located as part of the fuselage.
Other hardware is in great shape with loads of pieces from tanks trucks and planes.

Nice museum. Not to big, but a nice and good restored collection.
You can also cross the museum by bike, over a bridge.

Wow! Take every bit of kit left over from Operation Market Garden, then restore it and present it in a massive hanger... and you've got Overloon! It's amazing. Friendly, helpful staff and a good cafe. A must visit.

Simply brilliant museum that handles war and its horrors in a sensitive manner. Very impactful information section. Breathtaking military vehicle collection maintained to a high standard. All staff I interacted with were excellent. A special thanks to Matt who accompanied me for a walk around the garage and shared stories of the vehicles and their maintenence.

A big museum in the town of Overloon where visitors can learn about past war's but mainly the second world war. In May there is a Militracks Weekend with ww2 army vehicles, tanks, jeeps, market and entry to the museum

Impressive museum about the second world war (WW2). This is the best WW2 museum I have been too (so far) that describes the reality of the war. The collection of people that experienced the war was very impressive and interesting. They tell the story of different people in the war. The collection of tanks, artillery, other vehicles and planes is impressive. Around these there are weapons, ammo, shells and electronics ordered. Also very interesting are the military bikes and the impressive amphibious vehicles. This is a museum worth the visit. Also outside there is a big nice park.

One of the most beautiful and detailed war museums I have visited so far. The horrors of WW2 have been explained very well. Must do things when you visit are climbing inside a tank and seeing the hundreds of bombs, bullets and missiles that have been displayed.
The tagline "War belongs in a museum" best fits this place... Worth visiting
Sudhir MK — Google review
It starts off with a lot of interesting information about the netherlands in WW2.
The items are original and the story about it, how it's explained is pretty good.
There is a big hall with alot of vehicles and other war machinery.
They have shelfs and shelfs of different kind of radio's and ammunition / grenades.
And an most impressive layout of the crashed british Lancester NN775.
On the outside there some more tanks and information.

I was very excited to see this museum, and it surely did not disappoint! Tickets can be bought directly on site (no need to book in advance) the whole museum takes around 4-5 hours (if you read everything in depth). Tells the heart breaking history of the occupation of Netherlands. very informative! The information inside is provided in German and i was told that English is also available. At the end there is a huge exhibition of tanks, various vehicles, planes...etc. Simply amazing!!

Wonderful museum. Renovated since my last visit. Only criticism I have is that the light is not great for photographers. But great collection and always worth a visit.

Very interesting and Fascinating museum to visit and lots to see and learn about. We had the voucher for a free drink afterwards in the cafe too. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to learn about the Second World War and how it affected the area.

Amazing museum with a great collection of both artefacts but lots of vehicles as well. It also shows the impact of the occupation endured by the Dutch during WW2 as well as their resistance.
It also presents the effects of the holocaust which spread to the Netherlands as well.

A very good museum with great exhibits and a deep dive into the role of the Dutch in WWII

The most incredible display of WW2 artifacts, vehicles, planes, tanks, etc, I have ever seen. Highly recommended visit!

A must go for everybody with intriguing personal stories to make the war touchable. I went there with my 15 year old daughter and she liked it. I could enrich the displays with some back ground info. Questions like what is a glider, what is a radar, what are these metal tripods doing outside and how does a V-1 fly. I would have liked more explanations on how it all works. Some displays are very unique like the boat Yvette and the Lancaster bomber display. Also why not a recruitment leaflet, how to join the army? There were many schoolkids from some high school when we visited. They should also consider a career in the army. War is not some stuffy thing from the past. It is all around us!

For any WW2 buffs, this is heaven! I spent 4 hours wandering through the exhibits. Many well known and underappreciated pieces were on offer to look over, notably a Panzer V and Stug self propelled gun.
For english speakers, the app to bring up English translations was well worth using to get the most out of this amazing museum in a quaint and very important town in the history of Operation Market Garden.

This was our last stop on our trip to visit WWI battlefields and cut across Belgium and the Netherlands. This is a very comprehensive museum full of great exhibits mostly on WWII. Many of them are based on German equipment which one (at least I never found any) cannot find in Germany proper.
A storyboard tells the story of what it was like living on the border when the Wehrmacht stormed across the border as well as what life was like under German occupation. Loads of exhibits show life on and off the battlefield.
Though most of the museum is aimed at World War II, there are many great exhibits of previous and later conflicts.

A friend recommended visiting and we drove over. Very glad to have had a chance to visit and look at the collection of World War II vehicles, weapons, and exhibits. Was surprised to see the collection included pieces from the Imperial Japanese Navy from across the globe. Also learned quite a bit about the battles fought in the area. Definitely worth the trip!

It was wet weather when we visited, so we only got to tour the inside, however the impact I felt from the museum was huge. The sheer amount and types of vehicles really portrays the scope of the war in a graphic way. The Lancaster wreckage display was very impactful as well.
I would definitely go back to explore the grounds as well if I ever get the chance!

If you're an enthusiast on War memorabilia, particularly vehicles then this museum has a staggering collection. Very impressive & nice atmosphere.
Meinweg National Park is a picturesque and serene destination, offering a terraced landscape with heathlands, woodlands, and diverse wildlife. It's popular for hiking, cycling, and horseback riding. The park features remnants of the 1879 railroad and the in 1962 aborted coal mine, adding to its historical significance. Visitors can enjoy extensive hiking and biking while exploring interesting geology and natural history. The area also offers pleasant cafes at the entrance for convenience.
Very nice atmosphere !
Good food and very friendly, personal service.
And above that all, the cook is creative for the vegatarien friends I treated on a dinner.

Open on Sunday for those who want to visit a brewery when all others are closed! I have been there twice already. They have good beer and also wide selection of strong drinks like whiskey, rum and gin. The tour on Sunday is at 15.00, I have taken the tour a few years ago and unfortunately it was only in Dutch, but the tour guide was really amiable and translated in English some parts. Maybe they have English tours now, but we did not ask. As we could not stay for so long we just enjoyed their nice chalet style restaurant. We took tapas to share and a crazy choco drink for dessert. Obviously we tried the beer. Tripel Kannunik is really GOOD.

Wonderful indoor and outdoor seating. Beers are award winning and aptly so. Good range of beers available, and at less than $4 (Euro 3.60), which is unbelievable. Outdoor play area for children. Easy bus ride, if you're traveling by train to nearby towns.

Wonderful place to stop at after a lovely walk through the Sint Truiden orchards and year-round to be honest. Lively, picturesque outside terrace and cosy interior. Great beers, of course, and all warm drinks with the added house whisky and eau-de-bière are delicious. Always lovely to come back.

Park yourself at the tennis club in the back and be amazed by this big brewery.
It has a huge terrace which is always full when good weather, simply because this place is just amazing.
The staff is really friendly, even though they have to serve so much beer greedy people and run 10km in a day.
Brouwerij Wilderen is brewing beer, whiskey and gin. The blond beers, Wilderen Goud and Kannunik are very tasty. There is also a smalls shop where you can buy all different alcohol at democratic prices.
Did not order food here, but looks like they serve good tapas.
Definitely a hotspot to enjoy the good weather!

Very unfriendly staff..from the lady at the entrance to the lifeguards.
God forbid you forget your ID and have no proof you live in Herentals..even if your spouse presented her/his ID.
The lifeguards don t bother to begin with a simple "hello" or a smile..no softskills at all.
Swimming pools are very nice and fun..the staff ruins the experience.

Amazing facilities for kids. Entry gives you whole day access to a leisure pool, baby pool, 25m indoor pool, 25m outdoor pool, outdoor paddling pool, pool slide as well as unlimited use of the outdoor playground, trampolines, bmx track (bikes included) and mini golf. We spent most of the day there with 6yr & 8yr old kids who rated it 100/10.

Pool not good for young kids, the inside kids area is tiny and boring. When you go to eat afterwards, all the restaurant staff roll their eyes when you ask for something like an extra drink, you know, their job.
