Incredible place to have a rest next to clean lake. Water is absolutely transparent. Lake has a sandy bottom and you can even see fishes that swim around you. And you can breathe with clean forest air and get a protection from the sun under great pines. So, it's great place to stay.

Awesome place! You definitely should visit it at least once. But don't go to Gryada, or other crowded places. Take your bike (preferable MTB) and go for a ride through forest to find hidden lakes and beautiful landscapes.

The pearl of volyn region, this national park is full of lakes and places to make a barbecue. A bit underdeveloped in infrastructural terms, it still remains a great place to hang out in.
Large lake in a tranquil park setting for swimming, boat tours & waterfront nature hikes.
Super nice Volhynian getaway. Cool clear water. Shallow around the lake, but deep part is 150+ (60m) feet deep. SCUBA diving, fishing, swimming, kayaking & barbeques available. Bordered by a very nice forestry area for mushroom hunting. Best part, no land mines!

Labyrinthine complex of tunnels under the city, once part of a chalk mine in use until the 1800s.
Interesting tour into the history of Chełm and it’s chalk mines… there is an English language audio guide and the tour has the special appearance of the local town ghost: Bieluch

Interesting tunnels underneath the city centre of Chełm. Great place for hide and seek. The place certainly has potential, if they develop it a bit more.

Interesting visit. I have never had an opportunity to touch chalk rock and see such mines in the past , so it was quite captivating. Nice idea with white ghost appearance for the kids. Tour guide was quite knowledgeable regarding history of Chelm and chalk mines.

We even don't expected that there is so interesting, that in so small town is mine. Guide tour was not boring and serious, it was funny, with tails, history, of course, and "real" ghost 👻. All visitors were very satisfied and impressed. I recommend to visit it! It's great attraction in Chelm and history place.

Surly I'll recommend this place

We visited the underground chalk mines last week. I still have in my mind beautiful impression of statues, geological wonders and the local guide who treated his job as passion. The best attraction in Chełm.
Large landmark city square from the 1500s, flanked by arcaded buildings housing shops & cafes.
When I think of a perfect historic square, I think of Zamość.
Featuring beautiful pastel colours unlike anything else in the country, amazing restaurants, museums, and various shops and stalls with plenty of memorabilia and gifts of your holiday!
Zamość square just feels alive, regardless of if it's midday or the late evening. It's a beautiful gem in the South-East of Poland which would be a great visit!

The city was built in late 16th century by Jan Zamoyski in accordance with Renaissance philosophy of the ideal town. It's quite remarkable and good to walk through. I'm glad I've seen it during Christmas with the ice rink and Christmas tree. You need to pay attention to all the buildings, they all have something special

Beautiful. Just beautiful and awesome, I had a great time there on Christmas, really nice place to be on holidays, at least for a walk an maybe buy something from here. Full of restaurants in case you will be hungry and beautiful buildings (i say right? 😜)

Archetypal historic square at the heart of Zamosc. The spirit of the Renaissance invades the visitor that can feel that little changed since 1580. The sumptuous clock tower of the Townhall wardens this atemporal space and timidly tells the visitor about the stories he witnessed.
Alex Segalés — Google review
Lovely old Town market square. There is also a lot variety of restaurants and cafes around. During winter there is a possibility of ice skating and beautiful illuminations. Definitely one of pearl's of this region which you should check out.

I think that this is probably the most beautiful place in Poland. The Venetian style and the colorful Armenian houses give unique vibes.

Old City Zamosc in Poland is a true gem that takes you back in time. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a beautifully preserved Renaissance town that exudes charm and history at every corner.
The main square, known as the Rynek, is the heart of the city and is surrounded by stunning buildings with intricate facades. The Town Hall, with its impressive tower, stands tall and proud, while the arcades and colorful houses add a vibrant touch to the square.
Walking through the narrow cobblestone streets of Old City Zamosc is like stepping into a fairy tale. The architecture is simply breathtaking, with ornate details and elegant balconies. The city walls, complete with bastions and gates, provide a sense of security and add to the medieval atmosphere.
One of the highlights of Zamosc is the Zamosc Cathedral, a magnificent church with a rich history. Its interior is adorned with beautiful frescoes and intricate woodwork, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere.
The Zamosc Synagogue is another must-visit attraction. This historic synagogue, dating back to the 17th century, is a testament to the city's multicultural past. Its architecture is a blend of Renaissance and Baroque styles, and it now serves as a museum that showcases the history of the Jewish community in Zamosc.
In addition to its architectural wonders, Zamosc also offers a vibrant cultural scene. The city hosts numerous festivals and events throughout the year, including the Zamosc Culture Days and the Zamosc Film Festival. These events showcase the city's rich cultural heritage and provide a platform for artists and performers to showcase their talents.
Overall, Old City Zamosc in Poland is a hidden gem that deserves more recognition. Its well-preserved architecture, rich history, and vibrant cultural scene make it a must-visit destination for anyone interested in exploring the beauty and charm of Poland.

Big, airy space, not busy at the time of my visit because it just rained so plenty of photography opportunities. Lovely place to visit.
brasco934 — Google review
The entire old town of Zamość is almost perfectly preserved and stunning. It has the exact same layout as it did when constructed in late 1500s. And a fascinating history too. Built by a nobleman Jan Zamoyski as his private, heavily fortified town that welcomed religious minorities (hence the Armenian tenement houses - now housing a museum - and four different temples, including a synagogue). The very street layout reflects its military purpose: all streets intersect at right angles to facilitate the transport of heavy machinery. It withstood two sieges lain by the Cossacks and the Swedes in the 17th century. In 1772, it became part of the Austrian partition and when Napoleon came to this part of Europe and created the Dutchy of Warsaw, it was the Polish military that managed to take the city from the Austrian over the course of one night! After Napoleon fell, Zamość became part of the Russia-controlled kingdom of Poland. The same military engineers who had been modernizing the town under Napoleon stayed in the city and finished their job. It became heavily militarized in 1820s. In the November Uprising of 1930-1931 Zamość held out the longest, even after Warsaw capitulated. The end of the military lusture of the town came in 1860s with the dawn of new projectile technology. If you are a military history enthusiast, it's a fascinating thing to see. A couple hundred meters away, you can find a tour of the fortifications and a remaining bastion. There are many tours available in the Great Market area, but I only encountered Polish guides. That's why I thought a short translation might come in handy here.

A beautiful place built perfectly with great colours and patterns. Visited in the morning where there were little people but over time the crowd began gathering. Great food in the area and tourist locations are very close. Amazing place to visit!
Zamosc is very old city and its City Hall as well which was built at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries according to Bernardo Morando’s design.

Quite an impressive city hall. You can go up the stairs to take a better look at the Market Square which is rather colorful and cute and full of cafes. There is a tourist info center on the side of the building that will give you a lot of interesting info. You can also hear the musician playing from the upper part of the building at certain hours. The town itself is very nice and truly worth visiting. By the way, there are a lot of events organized at the Market Square

Zamość Town Hall is a beautiful and well-preserved Renaissance town hall. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most popular tourist attractions in the town. It is a large and imposing 16th century building with a richly decorated facade. The interior of the town hall is also impressive, with its high ceilings, grand staircase, and ornate chambers. The beautiful murals and frescoes on the walls are quite impressive. I highly recommend visiting this gem!

(Translated by Google) A revelation: quiet, slightly in front of the market square, i.e. peaceful, without overcrowding compared to what's happening in the restaurants on the market square, and most importantly, delicious food for reasonable money, with a nice atmosphere and wonderful service. I was there twice during my stay in Zamosc, once alone because I was the only one hungry, the rest ate earlier in the pierogi shop, which I didn't like, and I ate salmon soup and pork chop with fries and salads, I left feeling as full as a meal and everything was fresh and delicious in a few days. again we were wondering what to eat and where, so I took my family to this particular restaurant, everyone left full, we didn't spend a fortune, it was delicious and nice, again I ate salmon soup, I really recommend it, it was a finger licking sensation, and the kids had chicken soup, spaghetti and pancakes, and my wife and everyone had dumplings with groats. satisfied and everyone liked it. If we are ever in Zamość again, we will definitely come for dinner. Greetings ladies from Old Town Cafe

(Translated by Google) A simple purchase of a few jars of honey due to a small typo in the address (on my part) caused a lot of confusion when I was pressed for time and there could be no delay in delivery. Everything indicated that the delivery would not arrive on time, ruining my plans for the purchased honey.
However, it turned out that Good Human Will and Understanding can do much and even more.
The seller personally made sure that the parcel, in which the address had been entered incorrectly (due to my fault!), was addressed correctly so that the parcel could reach the right place on time. This is what happened and 17 hours after ordering, I was the happy owner of honey.
Additionally, the Seller personally informed me about the progress in settling the matter with the courier company. Everything in a pleasant and calm atmosphere of understanding, without impatience and nervous rush.
When I bought a few jars of honey, I felt like a premium customer without unnecessary pomp. And I think this is how things should be handled.
The care, concern and commitment of the Seller should be an example to follow in other areas of life and relationships between people and the world would be better.
It's hard to believe that it's just a honey shop and not a Pozytcyjna Biuro Za Zalaniania…
thank you once again

Sprzedawca osobiście dopilnował, aby paczka, w której wcześniej został mylnie wprowadzony adres (z mojej winy!), została poprawnie zaadresowana, by paczka mogła dotrzeć na czas w odpowiednie miejsce. Tak tez się stało i po 17 godzinach od zamówienia byłam szczęśliwą posiadaczką miodów.
Dodatkowo Sprzedawca osobiście informował mnie o postępach w załatwianiu sprawy z firmą kurierską. Wszystko w miłej i spokojnej atmosferze zrozumienia bez zniecierpliwienia i nerwowego pośpiechu.

The State Museum of Majdanek is a memorial museum located on the site of a WWII concentration camp. It houses buildings, photographs, and personal effects from that era. The exhibits are available in English as well and offer an educational experience about the atrocities committed during that time. It takes around four hours to visit the entire museum, so it's best to plan for a sunny day as it can get cold and windy in winters.
What an experience the place is really well conserved and it gives you chills while you there definetly worth visiting

A place that everyone must visit. Everyone has to learn about the things people suffered, just because they were different.

A sad place but a fundamental visit to understand more about this dark moment of our history. The museum is very well preserved and organized. The entrance is free but I would recommend to buy something from the bookstore, to contribute with the conservation. If possible, go on a weekday by morning, it opens 9am and the visit will be not crowded, so you can explore everything in your pace.

Not one of the well known camps.
It was one of the biggest. I was surprised at how big it was.
Very sad to see what happened here.

It is worth seeing but you will need a couple of hours to get round it

All the museums and exhibitions were available in English also so it was a positive point. Although very sad, this place taught me a lot about those concentration camps. It almost takes 4 hours to visit the whole museum and try to visit it in a rather sunny day! It gets cold and windy in winter days.

How do you rate five star such a place? It was good to learn about the history that I've found difficult to understand or stomach. It was enlightening walking the grounds, reading quotes from people who experienced such inhuman atrocities. I couldn't help but reflect with current experiences in today's world. The visit was and is still thought-provoking. It is a good thing this history has not been hidden. Perhaps that will help us shape our world differently when we can understand what human beings are capable of.

This is a eye watering place to visit due to the horrendous reasons behind it being there.
We entered through the main gate and into the reception, we were then shown on a map whats what and how far it it’s to walk round it , I believe it was 4.6km .
Hard to imagine just how hard it must have been but the whole place gives you somewhat of a view into the conditions .
The stories you read on the wall again make your heart miss a beat , very very sad place to visit but a must if history and a real look into it is on your to do list.

Very moving place to visit. Nevertheless the place is well looked after and clean, in the customer centre, reading materials can be purchased in many languages, there's also loads of parking which is very cheap. Everything is displayed where it need to be and sometimes in multiple languages. I've managed to attach myself to a tour, and the guide explained everything in detail, took us about 3hrs. The middle museum holds artefacts found on the grounds, as well as letters, documents, furniture, equipment, and statues made by prisoners. The remembererance monument is one of the biggest I've seen and really makes an impact. At the end crematorium, human ashes pile and executions trenches can also be visited. Definitely worth a visit so that one human can know what another is capable of...

It is worth a visit. You will be very close to concentration camp life.
It is enough to walk without guide. It is free entry. You may park your car inside for 10 zl, which is worth as well. Otherwise you have to walk 15-20 mins by walk.
It is a different experience than Auschwitz. It has less people and a lot of information on the posters.

It is an interesting place, but there is no description and leaflet with minimal information. The area is not well maintained either. Situated in the center of Lublin, the Old Town is a charming area that features a range of historical attractions. Amongst these are the 19th-century Lublin Castle and its accompanying Holy Trinity Chapel, which boasts Byzantine frescoes from medieval times. The Trynitarska Tower provides fantastic views of the pastel-colored buildings that line the cobbled streets below. Visitors can also explore Lubelska Trasa Podziemna's underground passages to discover heritage displays.
The National Museum in Lublin is housed in a stunning medieval castle that has been restored to its former glory. This impressive castle boasts a Gothic chapel adorned with 15th-century frescoes and offers free entrance to visit the museum. The museum contains an extensive collection of historical artworks and artifacts relating to the city of Lublin, making it a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts.
I always try to visit this museum when I am in Lublin. It is not very big but has some gems to admire. The Holy Trinity Chapel dating back to the 13th century with Byzantine frescoes is a must-see.
Mirek Jasinski — Google review
A nice castle with an interesting museum to visit. The chapel with its frescos was the most impressive, in my opinion. The museum has both temporary and permanent exhibitions. There are lots of paintings, icons, furniture and coins.
There is a place to leave your jackets and bags (if needed). There also elevators, so it will be handy for people with special needs.
The tower has lots of steps, so take that into consideration when visiting. The top of the tower provides pretty good view of the city.
The only thing missing is a cafe in the castle yard for summer time :)

A great place to visit in Lublin, with a lot to tell. The only negative is that the posters are in Polish which makes it difficult to tell the story to the world, they could put them in English as well. Admission is free, you pay only to enter to the tower. The place is well maintained and was rebuilt with help of the European Union.

Closed for renovations at the time of my visit, even the Donjon which was included in the Lublin pass ( a complete rip-off, by the way) was closed. Looks pretty, of course, unlike most of the city, so much lost potential in Lublin, it's so sad

Very nice place to teach kids the history of the area and how people lived in the past. It was good for us as most posters and signs were in Polish and English so easier for us to read and understand. The younger staff were very friendly and showd interest in the kids, thanks for that. One point I would warn others about is if you are foreign like we were don't speak your foreign language too loud as the more elderly staff members will follow you diligently, presumably to make sure you don't touch break or steal anything. Made us a bit uncomfortable but we ignored them for the lost part so was otherwise enjoyable.

To be honest, there’s nothing spectacular or special with castle since there is no such a place left called castle. Only 1-2 pieces of a castle. Still may worth to have a look. No need to go up to tower or museum, believe me.

Extremely helpful service and beautiful buildings. If you are a visitor, this place is a must-see. The tour is very extensive, and the view of Lublin city from the tower is the best you can get. Fully recommend

Beautiful castle, we were able to visit only tower, it was nice view from the top of the tower. Unfortunately, we were not able to buy combined ticket for some reason and also all the information on the stands in tower was only in Polish.
Darja Zb — Google review
There’s a lot to see and do around the castle, which houses a surprisingly dense set of historical artworks and artifacts about the city of Lublin. The area leading toward it is of course scenic, as are the views from it. The interior is well kept but humble compared to the exterior, though with its age that’s to be expected. Be sure to check out daily and seasonal cultural events happening there, some can be quite a trip.

Unforgettable experience for art lovers.
Kobieta w podrozy - beautiful exhibition about Tamara Łempicka and art deco. Beautifully presented along with many other artists of that period.
Zamek offers exhibitions about Lublin artists in communism and their work, famous Polish painters such as Witkacy, Malczewski, Kossak and Matejko.
Worth to see many other exhibits about religious artifacts and Polish folklore, Lublin's architecture, design and many many more.
Staff very knowledgeable and friendly.
The Lublin Village Open Air Museum is an attractive and environmentally significant attraction in Pioland that offers insights into the history and culture of rural villages from past eras. The lush grounds feature beautiful wooden structures that represent old Poland, providing visitors with a glimpse into traditional village life. There is an entrance fee, but it's reasonably priced considering the knowledge one can gain.
It is a nice place to visit for only one time.

What a lovely surprise! Not far from the center of town you step back in time to rural Poland of 200 to 80 years ago. A great museum for diving in the past of Lublin. There are many cottages and old rural buildings exceptionally well-preserved, through which people can picture what life there used to be like. You can also spot some animals, such as horses, chickens, and ducks. The only inconvenience is that the majority of the maps and captions are in Polish, making it difficult to follow through the exhibition. I paid 20 zl for the reduced ticket.

That’s a really nice place to visit! You’ll see a lot of old houses from different regions and even different times! On top of that there are also churches (one is open for services), a windmill and even some places to have food and drinks. We haven’t visited karczma, but next time we will. All buildings and the surrounding territory are taken care of well. You see flowers everywhere, also fields with wheat, gardens, etc. It was quite nice to see some horses, a goat, ducks, geese and chickens! I’m sure kids will especially enjoy them. Be sure to wear comfy shoes as you’ll be walking on narrow paths, dirt roads and all kinds of pavement! In my opinion if you come with people who have special needs you should consider the types of pavement and going up and down in some parts of the open air museum, so take this into consideration before visiting. All in all, it was a pleasant experience!

It takes time to see everything, so you better have that in mind in advance. If you smoke, have in mind that smoking is forbidden, so you should be ready to survive without a cigarette for 2-3 hours. There is definitely what to see, so I recommend going there.

The park itself is quite interesting to see.
However, the reason why I am only giving one star, is the way they keep animals.
Many of them haven't got enough living space, they're kept on a chain that's only 2 metres long.
Some of them even haven't got a place to stand in the shadow nor a place to drink fresh water.
The park really should definately make some changes.

Such a beautiful place. We went the weekend of November 1st and were one of the only ones there. Admission was discounted from 12pln to 6pln for this weekend, maybe all of Nov? Map available for free at the entrance is helpful to make sure you see everything. Of course, lots of walking. The property is very large so allow for 1-2hours based on your walking speed. We spent maybe 1.5hours as we took many photos.

Must visit place in Lublin, apart from old farm buildings and little town square with shops from the past there are plenty of animals and beautiful scenery. Muzeum Zamoyskich w Kozłówce
Museum
Art gallery
Baroque palace-turned-museum set in landscaped gardens, with guided tours & a socialist art gallery.
The Zamoyski Palace in Kozłówka is a treasure trove of history and art. Built in 1742 and later owned by the Zamoyski family, the palace underwent significant renovations by Konstanty Zamoyski between 1897 and 1914. The interiors boast authentic furnishings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries in the Second Empire style.
Reasons to visit:
1. Unique National Treasure: Among the best-preserved palaces in Poland, it offers a glimpse into 19th-century aristocratic life.
2. Original Interior: From the adorned palace hall to the stunning marble staircase, the interiors exude aristocratic charm. The Red Salon, White Salon, and Countess's Bedroom are particularly impressive.
3. Beautiful Tiled Stoves: The palace features ornate tile stoves for year-round comfort, adding to the aesthetic appeal.
4. Painting Gallery: Adorning the palace walls are around 460 paintings, depicting crucial moments in Polish history and family portraits.
5. Diverse Antique Furnishings: Unlike many reconstructed sites, Kozłówka's collection includes originals, showcasing the precise taste of the owners.
6. Additional Exhibits: Explore the Socialist Realism Art Gallery and the Chapel and Room of Cardinal Wyszyński.
7. Impressive Surroundings: The palace complex includes a theater, chapel, guest wing, terraces, two towers serving as water towers, and a beautiful garden.
The palace tour provides insight into the Zamoyski family's remarkable history and the unique slogan "To mniey boli" displayed at the entrance, originating from a heroic ancestor's response during a medieval battle. Don't miss this extraordinary blend of history, art, and architecture!

Interesting old house associated with one of Poland's oldest and richest families who were essentially disinherited by the Soviet's. Amazing collection of Uranium Glass, paintings, etc.
Has a small restaurant on site and other little places to see, plus some nice grounds
Warning: they only do house tours in Polish - so we didn't understand a thing, but Wikipedia and other sources made up for it :-)

Beautiful place. Recommend to visit it if you have time. Entry to the palace is every 15 minutes and tour duration is about 1 hour with guide.
Mateusz Kassjaniuk — Google review
Beautifully maintained palace in an often ignored area of Poland, the wonderful Lublin area. The estate's grounds & gardens are so inviting you'll have no trouble convincing family members of all ages to make a day of it just relaxing in the sun so pack a picnic, just bring enough to share for the peacocks (kids love them).
Helpful tip if you are challenged linguistically. Read up on the history online before the tour and just enjoy the beauty of the rooms or pay the extra złoty for the English audio book. The tour guides really hurry you through each room due to all the group schedules. As such, there is very little wiggle room for translation time while simultaneously fighting to hear over the museums louder pa system, tour guide, etc.
I personally enjoyed myself more using my limited Polish, reading beforehand, plus I made friends with the Polish people in the group; they always seem excited to practice their English with someone interested in the history of their country so my advice, skip the audio book and meet some nice people.

It would be a great place if not all the works that are being "done" here. I've been told by locals that it was the current town mayor who decided to renovate the park with not enough money in the town budget. They cannot finish the works now and the great park looks really bad.

This winding, scenic gorge features a vast, exposed network of ancient tree roots & trunks.
Amazing nighttime trip with a very knowledgeable guide. Ensure you check the availability (weather and number-dependant) at the corner where electric buses stop at the city square.

A bit overrated in my view. On weekend expect that the place is crowded. I would like not to pay 5 PLN for the entry, such places should be admittance free.

Very small but very interesting natural landmark. Don't go here on purpose, just if you visit Kazimierz Dolny or if this gorge is not the only thing in our list

This place is absolutely magical. We had our wedding photo shoot there and ended up with some pretty great pics.
Just be prepared yo pay for parking in the area. There is no place to park for free

Some most incredible nature experience I saw in Poland, Kazimierz Dolny. It can be 3D map and implement in video games or virtual reality.
I can strongly recommend to see it during East Poland trip.

Quite an interesting place for a short not-more-than-30-min slow walk. It's on the larger walk path around Kazimierz and worth a visit.

Overrated town, no sidewalks, overpriced restaurants, centre allows cars, it's basically a village with some tourist interest
Never book a hotel here, it's one hour from Lublin, it's not worth more than a few hours

One of Poland's most beautiful villiages. Worth the trip.
Vibrant flower- & tree-filled theme park featuring fairytale lands, with cafes & souvenir shops.
We weren't sure what to expect from the internet reviews but we've been pleasantly surprised by this park. All amenities are brilliantly maintained and in the best condition. Everything looks almost brand new. Kids enjoyed every part of the garden. The only thing missing that would top it all could be some sort of small cinema room showing a 10min cartoon telling a little story. Especially that this is a themed attraction.

Totally fascinated and amazed by the park! The kids absolutely loved it, but the best part is that the adults can try lots of attractions and have fun here as well. The beauty of the territory, impeccable lawns, amazing flower beds, small streams, quaint nooks, the charming train around the dwarfs' town - this all makes a trip to Magiczne Ogrody an unforgettable experience leaving both us parents and the kids craving for more. 1000% recommended!

I took my 6 year old & she loved it. She didn't want to leave. There's quite a bit to do, both parents & kids will be worn out. Huge slide, swings, climbing structures, tunnels, & dragons. Kids under 100 cm (3') go in for 1 PLN.

The Castle in Janowiec on the Vistula is located about 66 km from Lublin and 71 km from Radom, making it easily accessible by car. Visitors can enjoy spectacular views of the castle and its surroundings, including charming houses and a small park. The castle features exhibitions and offers a unique opportunity to disconnect from daily life amidst green areas. Additionally, visitors can take a ferry through the Vistula River after leaving Kazimierz Dolny to reach the castle.
I would love to go back
We were lucky that a storm was nearby, but it didn't rain do we could take spectacular photos of the castle.
Near by, there ate some charming houses and also a small park. You can see also some exhibition inside the castle and those housed near by
Great to disconnect from the day by day.
Many green areas around.

Worth visiting after leaving Kazimierz Dolny (take a ferry through the Vistula River). The museum itself is not a big deal - ruins of the castle (partially renowed, contains hotel rooms) plus nicely set up typical polish manor. The view from both the castle and the scarp are somohow beautiful.

About 150 kms from Warsaw, this place flaunts of a 18th century fort in a dilapidated state, but renovation work is going on. Can stay in the rooms in the fort's premises to get the feel. Tickets are needed for a visit to the fort. Has about 3 storeys/ levels.A souvenir store is there. Price of tickets:10 zloty per head, as of August 2023 which excludes visit to exhibition or museum.Buses are there from Warsaw to this place.Olden days' barns are outside the fort, with local things being sold.

The castle is a great place to visit. They offer discounted prices for families which we did not get because "they do not sell them after 5". Feels like they try to scam some tourists.

Great history of the place but the castle is rather in ruins, its reconstruction could make it a great tourist attraction.

Nice experience. Dilapidated Castle, but had its own unique charm.
Family park with adventure trails, optical & sensory illusions, magic shows, a maze & a zip wire.
Great place for kids to explore. Plenty of raids for the little ones, but quite strict height requirements. Still even the youngest will enjoy the place.
Buy tickets in advance for better rates.

Great place for children, they were really happy! :) The most interesting places for us were labirynts, House of illusion and tonel of forgiveness. Take with you some eating, because when you're hungry of thirsty you don't want to stay in some queue... :( And if you have free day- come here from their entering or after 15:00. At this time is completely different place ;) .
Olha Rymartsova — Google review
We spent nearly the whole day there with an 8 and 10 year old.
There are plentiful snacking options and there is an OK pizza restaurant. Most of the attractions are for younger kids, but ours seem to have enjoyed themselves nevertheless.
The illusions are well done and fun. Things like the inflatables and little cars - give them a miss as they are either dirty (inflatables) or just way too slow (the cars). Guess the latter is really for younger kids.
Some, like the Chamber of Secrets, remain a mystery to me...
Enjoyed the abandoned gold mine and the little house with spinning walls and a good few others. Never managed to go on the pharaoh ride.
Personally I do not like the constant dirty dust under your feet (especially annoying when you are wearing flip flops, but that's probably just me and it's typical of Poland anyway, so doesn't bother most people.
Good to see contactless payments everywhere and that you can book online. All descriptions are in Polish, but Google Translate manages ok.
Karolina McIlroy — Google review
Take children at this place and just take care whether they lost or not. This place will consume them. I've seen some minor issues with safety of some attractions like some construction items in the sand or not properly secured areas around the pool so watch your children. Though I was there twice and to there again.
Also, be warned that the place may be crowdy, so wait time for food places or some attractions may exist.

(Translated by Google) A great place for jogging and shooting, and for various stag parties or just sitting around a beer and a fire. It is also possible to spend the night in a tent. When it comes to Paintball, everything is at a high level, a large variety of as many as 5 maps and various game modes, on a big plus for me, the trenches and obstacles are made very well, the instructors and owners are very fine people. As for parties, there is a place to sit, a fire, music, fridge to cool the equipment, and even if you had to buy something, the owner was so good that he dropped it to the store without any problems. I highly recommend!!!

(Translated by Google) One of the nicest swimming pools in Warsaw and the surrounding area. A large family area for swimming and playing in the water. The swimming pool is perfect for sports swimming.
The swimming pool is under permanent siege because there is a cult of swimming in Minsk. At times when swimming schools are open, the pool resembles one boiling pool.
Unfortunately, the price has been constantly raised for the past five years, and not only directly - the cancellation of pre-paid fixed-price tickets, which provided significant benefits, a significant increase in the fee per minute after exceeding the standard time (60 or 70 minutes), and a lowering of the age for children with free entry.

Jeden z fajniejszych basenów w Warszawie i okolicach. Spora część rodzinna do pływania i zabaw w wodzie.

We recently visited Castle Czersk, also known as Zamek Książat Mazowieckich, and it was an amazing trip back in time. The castle is in the pretty Mazovian countryside and is like a living museum, showing the history and grand buildings of Poland.
When we got close to the castle, we were impressed by how big and important it looked, surrounded by greenery and a peaceful moat. The outside of the castle has cool old details, like fancy bricks and medieval stuff, making me feel like I was in the past. The people who worked on fixing it up did a great job keeping it real and historical.
Inside, the castle is like a museum where you can learn a lot about Polish history. They have interesting exhibits about the Mazovian princes, showing their stuff like old tools, weapons, and clothes. The layout of the castle is big, but it's easy to walk around and see all the different rooms.
One of the best parts of my visit was the Great Hall. It's a fancy room that makes you feel like you're back in the old days with high ceilings, cool tapestries, and a big fireplace. The attention to detail in fixing it up is impressive, making it feel like the castle's prime time.
The castle is in a good spot, and if you climb to the top, you get amazing views of the land around it. It made me realize how strategic the castle was for defense and talking to other places.
The guides at the castle were super helpful. They knew a lot and told interesting stories, making the visit not just about looking at things but also learning cool stuff. They were happy to answer questions and talk with us, making the visit fun and educational.
In conclusion, my visit to Castle Czersk was like going on a magical history journey in Poland. The careful fixing up, interesting exhibits, and the pretty surroundings make it a must-see for anyone who likes history or just wants to explore. Zamek Książat Mazowieckich is a special place full of culture, and I left feeling really connected to Poland's past.

Castle ruins with interesting history.
You can visit two of the three towers, one is round and the other one is the gate tower just remember to watch your steps in the staircase and don't hit your head. The courtyard is empty because the buildings were burned down by Swedes in the 1650s. Ticket prices are pretty cheap regular is 16 pln and reduced is 11 pln. They also sold some magnets and other souvenirs. I would recommend visiting this castle if you are interested in history / old architecture.

Brings back memories from childhood and in the week it's empty - good for a picnic. I would recommend visiting for one of the events, as otherwise it's 2 towers and grass. Monument dedicated to Maria Skłodowska Curie - a Polish and naturalized-French physicist and chemist who conducted pioneering research on radioactivity. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and the first person and the only woman to win the Nobel Prize twice. She was also the only person to win the Nobel Prize in two scientific fields. On top of the stairs from Multimedialny Park to Kościelna street, there's a charming statue reminding you that scientist and first female Nobel Prize winner Marie Curie was Polish, and born Maria Salomea Skłodowska.
The statue was a gift of the French "Société des Membres de la Légion d'Honneur". French and Polish presidents Hollande and Komorowski were present at the inauguration, in 2014 (80 yrs after her death). She was a local and fond of the place.
