The old village of Villefranche-sur-Mer is marvelous! It is one of the most beautiful medieval villages I have ever visited. The streets, passages, stone stairs, yellow and orange-painted houses, the discrete scent of jasmine, and sceneries of the sea are simply mind-blowing.

Always enjoyable little exhibitions in the citadel as well as a pleasant place to explore.
Vast indoor-outdoor park including a long zip line, kayaking & escape rooms, plus restaurants.
Really great fun for the whole family.
Entry took a bit long but doable.
Mt bike course is a lot of fun and so are the other activities. All well maintained and staffed.
Though a little pricey the full package is to be recommended with the zip line and free fall as cool add ons.
Don't forget to do the caving, it's spectacular. You will get a wee bit dirty but once dried up you'll be good as new!
Rutger 'Rudgr' Geerling (Rudgrcom) — Google review
Nice location, very popular, big bar area on the ground floor. Many people seem to rent bikes and go biking on trails here, there's also a laser tag room and a bowling alley that also serves snacks (small chicken legs, veggie, shrimp bites) and drinks. There is a lift to the upper floors
Not sure what else is available here.
It dropped a star for me because they limited each game in a bowling lane to 25 minutes, which if you have 5 people, means that you each only have 5 minutes each total bowling time for each game. Ridiculous.

We went for the Christmas afternoon event. On several occasions tried to book tickets and was fully booked but when we eventually managed to book tickets the place was half empty. The children liked the tube slides a lot. The light path was interesting but waiting for Santa in the cold outside for long time wasn't. Still, it was probably overall nice for the children.
Kyr B — Google review
An outstanding park, wonderfully organised, with all kinds of attractions for the whole family. Beautiful! Amazing!
Cristina Scarfia — Google review
Kayaking was good. Straightforward to book tickets; would recommend to do so in advance. Shuttle buses were easy and straightforward forward alongside staff at the jetty. Would recommend speaking French as most of the staff encountered didn't speak English, but my French was good enough for all of this. Pleasant 8km Kayak journey; got stuck a few times as the river can be shallow in places but that was all my own fault. Good fun.
Matt Clarkson — Google review
Interesting amusement park with some unusual attractions. There are three tickets: one for entrance without any attractions included, an adventure pass, and a fly pass, which includes all adventure activities as well as three additional flying activities, i.e. zip line, dead drop and the big air. It is very surprising that this latter activity is a jump onto a big air pillow, which is not insured as you need to sign a physical harm waiver.

Went bowling the day befote this review was posted. At least, we wanted to. We tried to make a reservation online and paid online aswell. The payment went through and we went that same evening to go bowling.
Then, when we arrived and told the front desk that we had a reservation, they told us there was no reservation and we couldn't bowl because there was no "person of responsibility" present to start up the bowling alley. It took alot of hassle and very limited English to eventually come to an agreement where there would be a reservation pinned for the day after with a new payment beforehand.
When we arrived this morning, we spoke to the front desk again with different people there (Note, there were 3 people at the desk both days) and went upstairs to the bowling alley.
We explained the situation to the people at the alley and they were surprised at the situation and told us that at the time we wanted to bowl the day before that there indeed were "persons of responsibility present" and that people casually bowled that evening. Quite disappointing to hear.
After bowling, we went to the customer service to get our money back, which went smooth and fast unlike anything I saw there. Then we went to get something to drink and eat at the terrace. We got no straws or drinking glasses, there were no coasters at the table and apparently no receipts were being printed so the staff didn't even bring or put the food on the counter we ordered that we ordered.
Only when we notified we didn't have our food yet -- only then -- did we get our food. Our muffin and donut didn't even get a plate, just a tissue.
Honestly, very disappointing experience for a place that looks neatly organized and designed well. Most (>90%) staff is inexperienced, uninformed and are kind of stiff when it comes to customer service.
Sadly I won't be returning here, because the place seemed nice.
Dieter Blaauw — Google review
We went kayaking.
Staff was friendly and talked also in Dutch.
Only negative experience of the kayak was that other people were noisy, but I can’t blame that on the staff.
Our course was 8km and we took about 2h for it.
The adventure park itself looked clean and there were many play areas.
I could see a lot of exciting rides what we will surely come back for when our child is big enough. We also went to eat at the factory inside the park, the food was tasty and prices were acceptable.
In my opinion this is a good recommendation.
Bart Brouns — Google review
Lots of fun and varied activities, indoors and outdoors. We spent almost an entire day there and there were still lots of things left we didn't have time for. There are more things for kids 10+than younger.
Food was surprisingly good and reasonably priced.

September 2023 5*
Visited the place with colleagues for team building. The place is close to the City of Durbuy and well planned.
There are so many activities for all age group. You can enjoy indoor and outdoor games - rock climbing, zip line, kayaking, tubing and many adventure games.
There is tree climbing zone which require you to cross many hurdle - different level for different age group. There is restaurants and drink place inside the property.
Jaspal Singh — Google review
Lots of good options for an active day. Suitable for adults and children. The adventure pass is well worth the cost, it allows you to do almost anything in the park. The high ropes course wasn't very challenging for adults but still fun. The zipline course could be better. The via ferrata was very fun and varied and sometimes challenging. Instructors were nice and friendly.
Merel — Google review
Awesome adventure park!
There are enough activities for both children and adults. The main focus are tree climbing or rock climbing, if you're not into that you might not appreciate the park. Both tree and rock climbing are physically intense and you might need 2 days to enjoy both. Doing them in one day is possible but your muscles will hate you the next day...
One of the best activity is the Fast Tag, definitely give it a go as it turns puzzles and speed tagging into a competition with a ladder displayed for all. It is incredibly fun to do inside and it is included in the Adventure Pass.
There are three "premium" activities that can only be done with the Fly Pass: the Free Fall, Big Jump, and the Zipline. There are adrenaline-oriented as you'll go through in a matter of minutes. Do note there is a zipline track in the tree climbing section.
Food and beverage are ok both in pricing and quality (15€/burger with fries). Just don't expect fine dining quality, it's not the primary focus of the park.
TLDR : great outdoor activities, physically intense, best with two days. Bring good quality sport shoes and climbing gloves to protect your hands.
Jean Hu — Google review
Amazing place food is crazy expensive and the fly pass also but its a lot of fun.
Jordy van den Brink — Google review
A fly pass costed 55€/day.
You'll have access to a lot of outdoors activities.
It's better to start really early because the park is big.
I'have done outdoor: climbing, mountain bike, Zipline, toboggan, trekking, tree (climbing?) I don't know how to describe it. Hahaha 😺
Indoors there are also more activities: laser tag, bowling.
There is also a kids (kindergarten) space.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
The food and drinks are overpriced as always.
But nice experience.
Lucas Oliveira Dos Santos — Google review
The valley itself has good options of various activities including zip line, mountain biking etc. Good place for young kids. A day pass cost €30 to €50.
Botanical garden with guided tours among picturesque plant forms, plus a souvenir shop.
Small, but nice, relaxing, parking right in front door (payed), wc, restaurant available, only symbolic entrance fee, small souvenir shop, nice walkings around green statues, you can even see a small lizards, butterflies, bugs, have nice view at city center buildings, can sit for a while and relax, beautiful, clean, fragrant

An interesting park with many shaped box and other plants. Some of the plants are not in great shape because of age and disease. You can buy a combined ticket to reduce prices a bit.

Some of the unusual sculptures here include a woman in a bathtub, sunbathing Pamela Anderson. Then there are the nature inspired sculptures like squirrels, chickens, peacocks and more. Being in Belgium, there's ofcourse a Manneken Pis sculpted out of bushes too!

7 euro per person for a garden with a few bushes.. maybe for 3 per person it would be worth it but no way this is worth 7!?

Boring, bad maintenance very dirty facilities. You can say this place has no passion for what they try to present. For little kids might be ok but only for max 15mins

Beautiful garden with interesting sculptures out of plants of animals n humans gestures and unique flower beds. Guided tour available. Tickets can be bought at the entrance gate. 1 hiur is sufficient to spent in here. Enough parking spaces available with 7 euros for 24 hours. Payment of parking while exiting via card only.
Beautiful city, promoted as smallest city in Europe. Very nice for tourist with nice gardens, a castle, great restaurants and even own local brewed beer.

Striking artwork built of steel in 2011, a popular photo spot resembling a see-through church.
A wonderful idea to have this piece of art made of steel plates in this area. Close to the town of Borgloon and in a very quiet spot with rolling hills around you and the cows grazing
Inside or out this "Look through" church you can have intriguing views
The area is also good for nature walks

Beautiful artwork. Also the place is very scenic. The little trail from the parking is magical. So many places to park your car and then you can go to the see through church.

Very unique church. Place is very calm and quiet. Very few people were there here. You can have lot of time for yourself. Enjoy the nature and serenity. Commuting to this place is bit difficult if you take public transport from Brussels. It takes about 2.5 to 3 hours to reach this place. And last bus back to Brussels is at 18:46 which you can't miss 😅. Don't forget to carry water bottle and some eatables.

The Liège-Guillemins railway station is a contemporary transportation hub and modern concourse, created by the renowned architect Santiago Calatrava. The station features an impressive vaulted roof made of steel and glass, showcasing a blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal. It has become a prominent attraction in Liege, serving as the starting point for many travelers exploring the city.
Well maintained train station with a colourful, huge roof that you would not stop looking at. The staff at the station office is very very friendly and helpful. We missed our train due to the delay of another train. The lady booked us another train route for the next day along with our to and from ticket to Leuven. Very much satisfied with the services provided.
Animesh Kumar — Google review
The station platform elevators and escalators were both out of order. Many strollers and passengers carrying large luggage had to carry them by themselves, which was very inconvenient. And without any obvious notices or alternative measures, there is still a lot of room for improvement.
蝦仁玩樂日常 — Google review
Beautiful building unfortunately it's form over function. There is no cover for wind and very little seated waiting space.
Also the people around the station are quite dodgy
Vincent — Google review
Beautiful station, but kind of overrated. A pretty long queue at the ticket machines (the ones that worked).
A very pleasant interior design. A not as amazing exterior, probably due to the white paint becoming dirty over time.
Worth a visit if you're nearby, but not worth the travel solely to see it.
Overall, recommended.

I love the architecture of this station. The design just pops and it is very bright. Easy access to all platforms. The bus station is right out in front of the station. Few restaurants and food stands in the station. More outside of the station across the street. I really enjoyed my visit to this station. It is beautiful.

Fabulous design, have been through here a few times on my way to Bruxelles, Kortrijk and south to the Ardennes.
Nice shops on the bottom floor, 3 coffee shops, but missing a General store for travellers.
Has a mezzanine level that is completely derelict, pity, would have been a great addition to the railway station and added something to it's usefulness.

AVOID long waits at night.
It's full of homeless people. Everything is closed, dark, kinda scary for a MODERN train station.
It is completely open; so it's cold everywhere.
If you arrive late or need to have a long wait, there's a savior place close called TGV taverne (open 24hours)
The Gothic cathedral of Saint Paul in Liege, Belgium is a beautiful and historic building. The cathedral dates back to the 1445 and features ornate stained glass windows, a cloister, and impressive Gothic architecture. It is also known for its mason blue limestone which gives it a distinctive look.

Liège Cathedral, otherwise St. Paul's Cathedral, Liège, in Liège, Belgium, is part of the religious heritage of Liège.
Founded in the 10th century, it was rebuilt from the 13th to the 15th century and restored in the mid-19th century.
It became a Catholic cathedral in the 19th century due to the destruction of Saint Lambert's Cathedral in 1795.
It is the seat of the Diocese of Liège.

We obviously went for the statue of Lucifer, which was devastatingly beautiful. We couldn't stop looking at it and with every detail it kept getting more fascinating. The rest of the church is very beautiful, big colourful windows, but there's a part (the treasurer) which I assume you need to pay a ticket for, and it doesn't look interesting at all. I think if you just go to the church it's good, and it wouldn't take you more than 30 mins. I wish they had little statues of Lucifer or something you could take home other than the postcard (the picture in which is not that good quality either)
Sapfo Spyridakos — Google review
Liège Cathedral, also known as St. Paul's Cathedral, is a church with a history dating back to the 10th century. Although the current building only dates back to the 13th century. Like many cathedrals dating from this period, the church is a nice example of Gothic architecture. Some of the most outstanding features of the building include the highly ornate altarpiece of the abbey chapel, the classical Greek inspired Baroque sculpture of St John the Baptist, the ribbed vault of the nave, with its golden ribs and its vaults coated and painted with rinceaux common to French Gothic styles. The cathedral also has the usual collection of beautiful stained glass windows, some which have very contemporary designs that complement the more traditional ones.
A very unusual feature of the cathedral is the pulpit. There’s a sculpture of Lucifer at the back of the pulpit.
Sadly, the cathedral is currently undergoing renovation, so much of the facade is hidden under scaffolding. The church is still a must visit in Liege.

So it is worthy to pay a visit. You can also visit the Cathedral Museum, but you must pay for it.

The Citadelle is a hill in the city of Liege, Belgium that overlooks the town and the surrounding countryside. The views from the citadel are particularly impressive during sunrise and sunset.
Incontournable à Liège.

This hilly area of the Citadel of Liege is hard work to get to, but you'll be rewarded with excellent views of the city below. The views from the top of Montagne de Bueren
are excellent, but if you go further along to Belvédère Liège, the views are even clearer and better.
There isn't much to see of the citadel and it's mostly ruins. You can still walk around and see a lot of what remains as much of it is still standing. The area has paved walking paths and is a pleasant area for a stroll.

There are 4 way marked walking routes which are categorized and 3 star in Michelin guide! Our walk started at Degrés des dentellières (the street of Lacemakers who lived just beside the townhall, and of such importance was their art). A rather unsuspecting entrance on Rue Pierreuse leads to some stairs which lead to a brick building in ruins. Yes, that was a part of the citadel. A few more stairs from here leads to the Terraces!

Lovely view of the city and beautiful view of the river..
The Montagne de Bueren is a renowned landmark in Liege, Belgium. This notable structure consists of a lengthy stone staircase that ascends the hill at the center of the old town. It offers stunning panoramic views of the city, including its palaces and citadel slope. The climb up this steep flight of stairs may be daunting, but reaching the top is undoubtedly worthwhile. Postcards often feature this iconic sight, making it one of Liege's most famous attractions.
Many, many, many steps lead to fantastic views. You will see a bench at the top where you can enjoy the panoramic view of the entire city. If you continue to the right you can get even a slightly more improved version. Totally worth. And honestly, much easier than I expected. We didn’t even need to stop for breaks. And yes, many, many, many tourists even after dark. And it’s totally free!

Take some time to climb the 374 steps of these stairs going a monument and the Citadel on top. When it's warm in summer that can be a challenge but once on top you get a nice view over the city and the river below
The stairs were made between 1875 and 1880 to remember the 600 men from the small town of Franchimont who died during a surprise attack on the armies of Duke Charles the Bold and King Louis XI during the siege of Liège in 1468.

Fun and unusual place!! I'm reading mixed messages of the city here. Yea it's not really a beautiful city at the moment, while it has so much potential.
The infrastructure s*cks, the surrounding facilities and lack thereof show carelessness, and I hope the municipality gov will acknowledge the potential and go on a beautifying streak of all districts, not just the absolute centre!
Set an example for Wallonia. This can be done without too high costs. I think they're starting it at some places, just not enough to uplift the sense of faltering development, a heart without purpose.
The problem is the foundation and vision of the city, its relationship with traffic and concrete over nature and locals, and that has to be tackled, which is talk for another day...
The stairs structure however is really cool. Every city with hills should consider having similar ones, it's a place of fun, happiness, chitchat and reflection.
Clearly there's something magical about stairs going down and up to such an extent, you don't even have to believe in heaven. Everyone had smiles on their faces.

The stairs are one of the locations you have to visit in Liege not only for the physical activity of climbing them but also for the amazing reward you will get after reaching the top. After climbing , an outstanding view of the whole city opens and you can spend 10 minutes or more just admiring the beautiful city. A quick tip is to begin your journey with these stairs because after them , you will feel a little tired :) .

A nice workout walking up the stairs. Be sure to take breaks, turn around, and admire the view that gets better with each step. There are really neat doors to check out on the walk up. There’s a railing the entire length of the steps. The view from the top is good, but there are two even better viewpoints up by the WWI Memorial. Just take a right at the top of the steps and it’s only a couple extra minutes. We’ll worth it for the views of Liège.

What else is there to say other then: visit these stairs. Your condition and heart rate will be thankful of the exercise, you will be ashamed of your lack of training.
It really is a beautiful set of stairs, never thought I’d say those words but I can’t deny it. The view over Liège is nice, but I do think the steps are worth the visit in their own right.

Nice climb. It will take approximately 10 - 15 minutes to climbe the up. And nice view from the top. You can see the whole city. Also there is an observation point near by. No tickets needed.

Beautiful view to the city, absolutely must do when in Liege. Also climb to the monument that is a bit further after the stairs.

Quite a steep hike up the stairs but a stunning view of the city from up top. Highly recommend the walk up for every city visitor!

This may seem donating but it is not that bad if you walk daily. If you do not exercise or walk much this could be hard but not impossible. Great view at the top and perfect way to burn off the waffles. Lol

The place is situated in the city center ofcourse and it is very close to main market.
There were 300+ stairs and the view at the top was breathtaking.
Would definitely recommend to go there solo as well as in groups.

Only attraction in Liege 😂 which was actually nicee as it has a history behind it, looks good enough for you to take picture with if you want, and even has nice view from the top!! Kinda perfect actually cuz it’s not even much crowded. This attraction is enough to gank the whole tourisms of Liege 😂 sad we don’t manage to find any souvenir of the stairs 😭

Probably one of the must do's of Liège.
The views from the top are pretty and worth the climb.
However, be mindful of the people that live there. Enjoy the experience and the city, but be also respectful with the people that lives there and that uses them as their daily path to go back home, to go to work...

Montagne de Bueren has a ton of stairs 😣, but it was an incredible adventure climbing them and getting to the top (just to realize there's another monument and more stairs further up, lol). Not going to lie, there were a few moments in which I was winded. The views are great and there are so many people taking the climb on! At the top, there was a sweet cat visiting everyone who had made it.

It takes 374 steps to get to the top but then you have a nice view of the city. You do need to be quite fit however the handrail is quite sturdy and you can of course take breaks
R C — Google review
If you are fit then take these stairs around 374 to reach on top to see the view, there is just one bench on the top to rest.
It’s good if you can reach on top then this js the good test go check your fitness :)
This was the highlight of our visit to this region! Quite unexpected, and incredibly inexpensive for the experience. The only minor issue was that the glass sometimes prevented great pictures, and the areas are somewhat narrow. However it's a must see for an unforgettable experience, and a true monument to clear dedication to preserving history.
The building looked as though it would be disappointing, but it was three floors full of up close and personal WWII relics, uniforms, documents, weapons, etc.
Tight quarters but worth every Euro. The owners have unearthed many of the incredible pieces themselves, and are affable and humble.
You MUST visit! These pictures is just a fraction of what is there.

Fantastic private museum, cheap for all it contains. Relatively small, but crammed full of all kinds of artifacts. Some barely recognizeable, some like they were made yesterday. Check their facebook page for opening times. Since the owner died his friends run it on the weekends, so they cant always be open. Cash only, no cards.

It is truly amazing, the amount of war relics collected in this place. The owner is a very nice man in his late 40's that really loves to go and search for more war relics left behind after WWII.
In short it is a large collection of all kinds of stuff from the war, it looks small from the outside. But we easily spend an hour looking at the different items.
We went on a weekday in May, officially it was closed. After a short phonecall it was al good and he came to open up at the arrange time. He speaks native French, excellent English and a little Dutch

We were given a personal tour by Veronique through the museum. It was a great experience to hear her personal stories and see the multitudes of war material from the bulge. An amazing collection which ended with video of real battle film from the area. Absolutely amazing. My wife and I were treated so well and are thankful for all the insights we could be given. Thanks for the work you do! This is a must-see artifact museum.

Exceptional experience due to A) a large collection of authentic ww2 material. B) A passionate owner with skills to explain and present. C) the small entrance fee (we were with a group).
Les Grottes de Remouchamps, located in Aywaille, is a subterranean cave complex with historical significance and home to bats. Visitors can take a guided tour through the caves by boat, marveling at the incredible limestone formations and navigating the underground network. It's important to be prepared for dirty and slippery conditions, as well as muddy water puddles. The clever use of lighting enhances the experience, and multilingual guides provide insights into the cave's history.
true splendor of the stalactite caves of Remouchamps, unique artwork. 365 days a year the temperature is 8 to 10 degrees Celsius. Dont forget to take your jacket.

The cave in itself is stunning and is really a sight to behold. Definitely worth a tour, which end with a short trip on a boat to carry you back you the entrance.
Be sure to have some warm clothes with you as it gets chilly down there.

this is a natural gem. the subterranean caves were amazing and was self guided . the descriptions were in french and dutch but at the admissions booth you can get the information in other languages. the way out was by a boat ride along the underground river. the boat guide was very informative and explained the features you saw in english dutch and french. i would recommend bringing a sweatshirt (even if it’s a hot day out).

This is amazing place! There is the longest underground river in Europe - Rubikon. The gallery's are very beautiful! It's really good experience to visit the cave! The guy who ran the boat was kind, friendly and very attentive. He spoke English, French and Dutch. He showed us places of interest and told us about the cave during the trip.

Our group of three friends went there during a day trip in the area. Upon entering, we were greeted by a very friendly man who answered all our questions and provided written explanations in many languages for the various viewpoints inside. This place is amazing (and cool), and it is suitable for all ages. The staff is very friendly and professional. It was a great time!

Well worth a visit. It was much bigger and deeper then I expected! It all flooded a couple of weeks ago. One part was still closed off, I’m not sure how much of the total area but it definitely didn’t feel like we missed out there was so much to see. We took about an hour to walk the winding path up, then down, then up again. The boat trip was brilliant. Our 8 and 7 year olds loved it. One tip: wear shoes that you are happy to get muddy!

Highly recommended ! One of the most beautiful stalactite cave and the longest underground in the world. The boat ride is very enjoyable too. Must watch out your head because it's narrow and low.
Ani — Google review
I visited the caves recently and I must say, it was one of the best experiences for me. As someone who admires the beauty of nature, here are some points why I recommend this-
1. Natural structures formed by a reaction of groundwater & limestone, which have been forming over 700,000 years.
2. You will be in awe to see some fossils of unicellular organisms which inhabited Europe around 360 million years ago.
3. At the end of the first part of your walking tour, you have a guided boat tour along the longest underground river in Europe. Part of this route was formed by exploding dynamites in 1912.
Apart from the caves themselves, the people here were some of the best in the service industry. The guide on our boat was a jolly young man who explained the history in French, Dutch and English. We were also given a separate printed information sheet in English because the info boards inside the caves were only in French and Dutch. The head person was so kind that he walked down the road with us to show an amazing camping ground on a map which he drew by hand himself.
A few extra things good to know-
1. The temperature of the cave is around 11-12 degrees throughout the year. So you might want to dress appropriately.
2. At some places it is a bit slippery and drops of water fall from the ceiling.
3. The total visit takes around 1-1.5 hours depending on how much time you spend admiring the caves.

Best cave experience I've had. Not overly touristic, intimate (you get to walk the first km on your own) and the boat tour is great.
Aurora Signorazzi — Google review
Beautiful cave system with underwater river. The tour begins with a walk through the caves to an underground harbour, and a small steep passage beyond if you're up for it. After that it's a ~1km boat ride on the underground river back to the entrance. It's not a cheap attraction but definitely a cool experience.
Noud Frenken — Google review
Unbelievable experience worth every single penny. It's the longest underground floating cave in Europe and highly recommended on a sunny day, as it's constantly below twelve degrees centigrade down there. Don't forget to tip the great guides on the boat.

Very beautiful cave and a good excursion you can do with children. You walk about 1 kilometre into the cave, and for the return, you have to take a boat to go back to the entrance.
The boat trip was definitely an experience.
Manuel Deinat — Google review
This cave system is a hidden gem, that you cannot miss.
I visited without reservations (so I arrived early to secure my spot), as the website was not functioning properly. If you’re proficient in French or Dutch, you can call to make a reservation. Either way I’d recommend booking beforehand.
I paid for my ticket with cash, although card payment is also available. If you choose to pay with card or cash, make sure to set aside 5-10 euros for tipping the boat tour guide; their work is quite strenuous as they have to row all the way back from the end of the cave to the entrance. Also don’t expect all of them to speak English.
Please note that this visit is not wheelchair-friendly or suitable for people with limited mobility. There are narrow passages, stairs, uneven terrain, and numerous steps to climb.
The entire tour can take up to 2 hours. I was the first to enter since I was the only English speaker, so I received instructions and explored on my own. Others in the group received instructions later, likely grouped by language. When I reached the end of the cave, I waited for about 10-15 minutes for the tour guides to arrive on their boats and lead us out of the cave.
The interior is not very dark, but some areas can be a bit slippery, so wear appropriate footwear. The temperature inside stays around 10-15 degrees Celsius (50-59°F) year-round.
The entire tour comprises 12-13 stops with descriptions in Dutch, French, and German. If you speak other languages like Spanish or English, you’ll receive a printed paper at the entrance, but it contains only a limited amount of information compared to the signs inside. This is an area where they could improve.
The cave is truly remarkable and unique, and I couldn’t recommend the visit more. If you’re in the area, make sure to stop by! Don’t miss it. 😉

It was an amazing experience. We initially book a ticket to initiate the cave tour at 16:00, therefore we arrived in the village much earlier and kindly requested to swap out the tickets, without any bother the man at the help desk promptly swapped it out. He also asks which country we came from in case we would not speak either dutch or french, then he has the explanation paper in our mother tongues.
The tour takes about 1,300 meter walk in the cave, with some paces very spaced out but others are narrow and you have to mind your head. After the walk you come to the end of the cave and there is a boat tour back to the entrance, on the lower part of the cave. The boat man would speak English, french and Dutch, which was amazing to understand his explanation. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it.
Well done for the entire team!

Be aware that your clothes will get dirty. Floor and stairs/steps are slippery, and there are muddy water puddles. Wear decent shoes.
Nice cave system where they used lightning in a clever way.
At the end, there's a small boat tour back. The benches in the boats are wet.
We made sure to be the last ones of the group. Children in the party were loud. That gives a nasty echo when they scream.
The employees speak multiple languages and will tell you something about the history of the caves.
At the entrance/exit are toilets and a small shop.
There are plenty of restaurants nearby.
Parking on the streets nearby.
Indoor & outdoor swims, plus steam rooms & massages, at a thermal bath complex overlooking the city.
Struck by the negative reviews. We had a wonderful full day in the Thermes and it was not enough. The outside pool is wonderful, multiple relaxation areas, hot jacuzzi baths. The treatments were lovely and very relaxing. We also had lunch at the Institut upstairs, it was light and very high quality products.
Anna — Google review
Add a bit more zen to the commercial aspect with regards to the treatments à l’Institut. Now very much a factory approach…in and out. However, giving people 5 minutes to wind down after treatment, an explanation of how to improve skincare, and why products are recommended, would already make a difference. Even the receptionist - where the products can be bought - doesn’t explain the why, what and how of what was written down on that paper we were given (in fact, she was quite rude). In short, customer experience to be improved à l’Institut. On the other hand, the ladies downstairs at the entrance are amazing!

Unfortunately this is not a spa or sauna. This is one large beautiful swimming pool with two saunas, or rather, one sauna and one hammam and that’s it.
Here everyone wears clothes. I can't imagine anyone wearing swim trunks to a spa.

Totally disappointed with Thermes de Spa!
I had in mind it's a health resort, it turns out to be just a place with a fancy big pool included 2 jacuzzis in it (I must say; the design of this big pool is quite nice and impressive!) Then an open relax area with some lamps on top of the chairs (The floor was wet and slippery and so noisy from the big pool plus some swiches for the lamps were not even working). A huge wet changing room and a restaurant.
As luckily we also booked the body massage. We got a better service which we could exclusively using a private lift to go to the 2nd floor, where you could have a quiet pleasant restaurant for lunch. Much better changing room with shower facilities and a 100% quiet relaxing room where I got a relaxing day by spending most of the time there in between the sauna and hammam. Actually one could get all these facilities and services in many exclusive gym too! No need to come all the way here!
So because we paid extra for the body massage. We could get the better hospitality out of the facilities. But the worst part was the body massage that I was looking forwards to so much was a disaster!
In my life I had so many body massages in many different countries. In my experience this must be the worst one. Sorry it was not a massage! All I could describe was like someone kept APPLYING some oil all over your body! There were no rubbing
or don't even mention massaging. Isn't body massage means massage from neck to toes? This is the first time I had a body massage was from neck to ankle. She never did my feet? I wonder how could Thermes de Spa could send an apprentice instead of a qualified massagist to their customers??
The 1 point I gave here was for my lunch. Very good choices and fair price for the buffet lunch.

Large pool including outdoor section was fine, but crowded and felt like a normal swimming pool. No hotter or colder pools. Sauna and hammam were fine but you have a cold walk up the stairs and across a hall, which is not really acceptable. People were slipping on the floor as sandals were not allowed. Too expensive.
Thomas Bell — Google review
Reasonable! The prices are okay, if you're really into a day of spa you'd probably go somewhere more secluded. However, it has mas o menos everything you might need. The nude section was really calm which was a big added value as you felt more at peace here.

Mixed review!
Need to pay for towels (€4) which are thin and small. These get wet in the sauna and there is no swap service available to get a dry towel.
No drink water supply anywhere so had to pay for bottled water and no hammam, it’s just a steam room and a shower with soap.
But facilities and pool are nice. Didn’t see a thermal, just swimming pools.
Caroline — Google review
Too expensive (30 € for 3 hours). After all, this is just a public swimming pool with Sauna and Hammam. Not exactly a wellness oasis. Didn't see any pools with thermal water. Bit dated (got a late 90s vibe) and not much decorations. Staff is very friendly tho and it is reasonably clean.
In Germany, you'd pay around 20 € for similar public Spas.
Sebastian H — Google review
It was a nice spa and we had a relaxing time, but be aware that if you book 3 hours you have to actually be at the check out at exactly 3 hours after checking in, otherwise you have to pay extra before being able to leave. We were in a session that started half an hour before we had to leave and the person guiding it told us we would be fine and have some extra time, when we told the persons at reception they said their colleague in the spa should not have told us that as it wasn't his right to do so in a quite unfriendly manner. A bit sad to end the experience with this.

Found a bit poor in terms of variety. Just 2 saunas, one big pool, and a couple of jacuzzi which are always busy. Resting area was good.
I wouldn't say it was bad experience in general, but traveling just for Termes is not worth it.
Cafe is good, service was also fast and fine.
Nice view on city.

Lovely place to detach and relax. The space has lockers, showers, 2 pools (indoor and outdoor), massage section, sauna and jacuzzi (naturalist and non-naturalist). Fav section was the outdoor pool with a very nice nature scenery. Everything is clean, people tend to wear their flipflops in the shower area which is not allowed but this is what makes some of these sections swamped but other than that, super clean. Not crazy crowded, very nice calm time, even an affordable food place (sandwiches between 8-9euros, drinks 4 -5, salads 13, desserts 7). An entire day is 41 euros, opens from 10 to 21hr. Would go again for a relaxing visit!

The thermes are underwhelming. There is only one sauna and one strange-smelling steam room (with bathing suit), 2 jacuzzis and one big indoor and outdoor pool of which the temperature may be slightly increased. Generally not very clean. There is no shampoo. Weekend days only 3h (changing included), which is too short to be able to fully relax and take time to read a book. Overall weird experience. Would not come back.

A great place to spend your time pampering yourself, wlone or accompanied. They just need to be a bit flexible in replacing soak towels, especially to VIPs who've paid super high service cost.
And for you naturalists, you can go naked too in the all in a safe spot even though perfs and rule breakers are all around, but hey, it's not right but it's OK!

It's basically a big public mineral pool ($25 for 3 hours, per person). There are some jets and water features, but basically just a pool. If you are in Spa and have time to kill, might as well check it off your list...but don't go out of your way to see it. Honestly, it's weird. I wouldn't go again.

Don't be fooled! They ask you to arrive early and tell you you have 3 hours from your booked time. At checkout they claim you scanned your bracelet at an earlier time and charge you late exit fee. Your 3 hours start from when you scan your bracelet entering the facilities. Other than the stress leaving, trying to pay at a machine that doesn't work was a nice experience. Friendly staff (except at checkout), the facilities could have been more fresh. It does feel somewhat dated. Some old lime crust visible here and there. They offer two relaxation areas - naturist and clothed - the naturist area is much nicer almost to the point it feels like they were forced to add the clothed area and this was an inconvenience to the staff. Would give 4 stars if it felt more fresh and they made an effort to have a relaxing exit.

Lovely plan to chill out a bit. For weekends you can reserve only for 3 hours and for weekdays you have the option to be there the whole day. Ticket for 3 hours is about 34€ and if you are student you would pay only 27€. For the whole day usage it is about 40€. Then don't forget to take your towel woth you, ows you need to rent it there for 3€. The best part I would is the pool outside where you can enjoy the fresh air together with the warm water and it's an amazing feeling!

Incredible nice place to be with nice swimming pool inside and you can swim from inside to outside. There's a steamroller, hot (dry) sauna, different Jacuzzis., different health baths. For SURE TO RECOMMEND, especially in the winter when it is freezing and snowing outside, you can swim there outside in Incredible nice warm water. TOP!!!

I was thinking that this spa located in Spa would deserve our visit, driving from Brussels.
The answer was no. The pools are decent, but nothing extraordinary. Dry sauna was just acceptable, wet sauna was a joke (not the required temperature). Not really clean or well maintained.
Management seems poor as they sell tickets for only 3 hours and since you already don't have much to do at least you would like to relax for longer in the pool.
For anybody looking for a really good spa in Europe, go East - Hungary is unbeatable.

The tourist attraction Fort Sint Pieter Maastricht Underground is a fascinating sight, as the caves there are made of limestone and were once a mining site. The tunnels and caves are a result of this mining, along with the settlement itself which is very cool with a fun tour that ends with an amazing view of the city. If you wish to leave the busyness of the city centre, this is definitely a tourist attraction you should visit.

One of important historical landmark in Maastricht. It’s situated in the outskirts of the city, but accessible by walking or bus.
You can find this 19th century fort, situated on the top of the hill. Don’t worry, it’s just 125 metres from sea level, easy trek to reach the top.
Not sure about the entry inside the fort, but you can enjoy amazing view of the Maastricht city from the top of this hill.
Possibly there are guided tours to know about the fort, you can go with them to know more.
Plenty of parking spaces are available, if you are comfortable with car.
Highly recommended.👍

I love my experiences there with the lovely guide called Pauline. It was one of the best tours I have had so far. The tour, the guide, and the weather (on that day, not too hot or too cold) were perfect. I ended up knowing a lot more about the places and definitely will visit again because there are still more places underground that we didn't cover this time. Pauline suggested visiting again during the weekend to explore another area underground.
When you buy the ticket, you can choose either the fort or the cave. I recommend you do both. I think they are worth exploring.

Absolute must thing to do in Maastricht. The fort and the caves can be visited through the tours only (I think) and it is better to book in advance just to be sure. The tour would take you inside the fort from ground level to the top and explain the history of it. it was fascinating and last about an hour, the tickets for the tour and cave can be bought together. There is plenty of car parking available here but the best way is by the bike even though it is slight uphill, bike parking is where the restaurant is. Arriva bike is also available here. There is also a mini-golf.

The multi levels offers you a close up look at the ceiling and structure of the Portices.

A decent collection of recent English books that will be sold fast. No surprising findings. Nice postcards and stationery.
Unfortunately there was no cosy feeling of an independent bookstore because this place kind of lost itself among a tourist attraction, a church, a photo oppotunity and a bookstore.

While studying abroad in Maastricht, this bookstore was one of the coolest spots in town.
Not only does it represent the European mindset of reuse and repurpose, but the look and feel of this church turned bookstore was legendary! Filled to the brim with crisp paperbacks and a little shop you could get lost in for hours! The friendly staff, coffee shop, and quaint finds makes this bookstore a must see!

My favorite place in Maastricht.
This bookshop is located in an old church. It is full of books, but nothing seems to touch the original structure. The love the way the old is mixed with the new.
Of course a great selection of books. Found a few in English.

Housed within a former Dominican church dating back to the 13th century, this bookstore offers an unparalleled ambiance that seamlessly blends history, culture, and literature. The juxtaposition of ancient architecture with modern bookshelves creates a truly enchanting atmosphere that transports visitors to another world. The bookstore boasts an extensive selection of books covering a wide range of genres, languages, and interests

This has to be the most beautiful bookshop in the world. Set in a stunning old church complete with a cafe. If you are in maastricht you must visit it.

Great bookstore. Friendly personnel. Gorgeous location. Easily spent three hours browsing the many books. The first floor is mainly Dutch books, stationary, etc. Along with a nice coffee spot. The second floor is mainly English books, and graphic novels. The third floor is second-hand books. This bookstore alone is reason enough to visit Maastricht.

I love the atmosphere of the bookstore! It is unique, impressive, and an interesting idea, to turn the old church into a bookstore. There are even some English books. If you happen to be in Maastricht, this is a definitely a spot that you shouldn’t miss— “A bookstore made in heaven”!

Location of this book store is fantastic! There are enough books, however (only in my opinion) choice of English books is not that big. They have all the trend books for sure! And again, the bookstore itself is gorgeous!
Anastasia Tretjakova — Google review
Visually it is a very nice store. Very iconic location, but it's not the best 'book'store. But that might be a personal thing, I like my bookstores to sell books and little else. This store however is more all round and sells records, CDs and smaller items like mugs, calenders and notebooks. Certainly book related items but it might have had an impact as the bookselection felt a little limited, though that might also be a space thing. Despite the large square footage at its core its a fairly small store. As a bonus though, there was also a selection of second hand books.
Ellen Van Rooijen — Google review
Awesome place, I love it. It is very atmospheric and old, I liked their collection of book and souvenirs and second hand books on the second floor.

Absolutely stunning location for a bookstore. If I had lived in Maastricht, you would find me here every day. There is a wide collection of Dutch books and a generous mix of English ones. There are also nice little presents and card games. The cafe at the back is seemingly cosy, but I did not try it.

The Basilica of Lady is a Gothic-style Catholic church that is built in the 11th and 12th centuries. It is located in an intimate cafe-filled square in the city and has been beautifully restored by Pierre Cuypens in 1886-1916. The Basilica of Lady is deeply spiritual place where people usually come to pray at the shrine to 'Maria Star of the Sea'. The impressive Basilica of Lady was only part of the original structure which still stands today.
I enjoyed my visit to this church, mainly because of the dark and a bit creepy atmosphere. It made it a bit original compared to many other churches.
Don’t misunderstand me, the church inside is beautiful, but I felt like I went back in time because of the atmosphere.
The entrance was free and not too much people was in there.

This old church in Maastricht is special. It's a Romanesque Catholic church found in the city's historic center. It's quite ancient, built around a thousand years ago, in the 11th and 12th centuries. Inside, you'll see beautiful stained-glass windows. The best part? It doesn't cost anything to go inside. So, if you're in Maastricht, make sure to check it out!

Race track hosting motorsport including F1 Grand Prix, plus museum & driving experiences.
Fantastic race circuit in the middle of a forrest. It has lots of hight differences and therefore cool vantage points. The facilities around the track are great and lots of cool events are organized throughout the year. There is plenty of parking but the accessibility of the circuit during busy days like the F1 race days is quite poor.

Just spent the weekend at the F1. My third gp venue. No doubt the location and track is spectacular. The viewing from the stand silver, on the run down to Eu Rouge is superb. My only downside was the lack of roaming. Other tracks you can usually walk all the way round and sit in any stands on practice days ( as long as you have a weekend ticket in a stand) but not here so it’s hard to see the cars in other parts of the track. Facilities generally very good and good choice of food and refreshments if a bit pricey, but not out of line with other similar events.

It was amazing. I was here during the F1 race. I had gold 2 it was great because you can see the cars accelerating from the 1st turn all the way up to eau rouge. Tickets aren’t cheap tho. Worth the experience. Truly one of the most beautiful tracks out there. The forests make it even more wonderful. Keep this race in the calendar!

SPA is indeed one of the best tracks worldwide. Contrary to the F1 event, during other events like WEC, the ticket is much more affordable and it allows the spectators to move around the circuit, plus it is "free sitting" at the stands. As such the funs are able to enjoy the action at all corners, as well as the magnificent nature of the area!!!
...not to miss that walking is best exercise 😄!
Naturally during the F1 eventvthe area is crowded, so patience is prerequisite.

Sat in Gold 8 and had a fantastic view of all the racing. The roof could be extended a bit to keep those in the front few rows a bit drier. Fan Zone was near impossible to get into. Not as good as Silverstone for the overall experience but really enjoyed being at an iconic circuit.

The best race track in the world! Long straights, fast corners, hairpins (La source) and the famous Eau Rouge which the great Michael Schumacher managed to get faster than everyone else.

Bring shoes to rain and mud, and don't forget a raincoat. This forest-like environment is really for outdoor clothes. Nice when it's not constantly raining. I went to F1 race with my boyfriend, we counted with some rain, but not with constant raining. If you go for Bronze area, you don't have a dry place to sit or stand on, as most of Bronze area is grass.
I likes how many toilets were around, there was no problem with that. Not sure if this is F1 specialty, but all stands have some coin system and you need to change Eur to this coins to pay with per-charged coin card later on. Most of stands are fast-food stands and there were big lines everywhere so I still recommend to bring your won food with you.
What I liked about the areal was that it's possible to walk through the forest freely.

I went to Spa for the weekend watching the WEC 6 hours of Spa. This was my first live motorsport event ever and it was so cool and overwhelming! On race day, the track was packed so we had to walk from a little further away to the track and we were stuck in traffic, so I‘d recommend you to go early on race days.
The view from not only the grand stands, but basically anywhere you could go were amazing. They have a lot of food stands around the track, as well as toilets (which were clean). The people working around the track were very friendly too.
It was just a great weekend overall! The tickets were definitely not expensive for what we were offered: all practice sessions, qualifying and race of WEC including Porsche Cup Benelux + Germany, and also a pit walk with autograph session on Friday and Saturday.
Would recommend it to everyone!

We went here hoping we could walk along the track like some (recent) reviews mentioned. Unfortunately we were not so lucky, the track was closed off. Absolutely fantastic experience here overall during the formula one Belgian grand Prix. This circuit is amazing even in the rain it's fantastic. So many places to get food. So many things to do in the fan zone. You can go karting as well! This circuit is very unique because you can walk around the whole track to catch the race from various different view points. One thing I will warn is if rain is in the forecast bring a four wheel drive car. Parking in the yellow area gets very muddy. We got stuck and required the help of strangers to push us out. We weren't the only ones. Hundreds of people were stuck in the muddy parking lots. It was a mess. Regardless seeing a formula one race was one of my greatest experiences.
Wonderful museum with an extraordinary collection of German uniforms and equipment, all in very good condition, also lot of US. The collection is exhibited with an eye for detail.
Tip for parents: this is not an do-and-experience museum and therefore less suitable for (small) children.

Have seen more museums about WWII. Still this is an interesting one, because of an unknown but important confrontation that happened during the Battle of the Bulge, only 200 meters from the location.
There are several personal items to be seen and interesting stories to be heard from soldiers involved in this story.
For app. 1,5 - 2 hrs one can spend a good time learning about these events and more, being guided by an audio tour.

Remembering Pfc Steve H. Wontorcik fought in F Company, 16th Infantry Regiment, First Infantry Division ("The Big Red One") and was killed in the Battle of Aachen. On the night of 23 October 1944, positioned in his foxhole on the Eilendorf ridge two miles east of Aachen, he and all others in his battalion were subject to a heavy mortar and artillery barrage, followed by an enemy assault on their positions, leaving scores of Germans dead or mortally wounded. Tragically, this 21 year old young warrior from Michigan died that night on enemy soil.
His name is commemorated on the First Infantry Division monument in Henri-Chapelle, Belgium.
The Battle of Aachen was a major combat action of World War II, fought by American and German forces in and around Aachen, Germany, between 2–21 October 1944. The city had been incorporated into the Siegfried Line, the main defensive network on Germany's western border; the Allies had hoped to capture it quickly and advance into the industrialized Ruhr Basin. Although most of Aachen's civilian population was evacuated before the battle began, much of the city was destroyed and both sides suffered heavy losses. It was one of the largest urban battles fought by U.S. forces in World War II, and the first city on German soil to be captured by the Allies. The battle ended with a German surrender, but their tenacious defense significantly disrupted Allied plans for the advance into Germany.[3]

If you're looking to visit please either have a tour group ready to help you get there or rent a car. It's probably too far to walk and the small country road doesn't have a side walk.

(Translated by Google) Reception at reception was good. Unfortunately not recommended. Asked twice for extra pillows. We would get that. Did not get. The rooms are very warm. Open the window wide to let it cool down a bit. According to the reception, this is because the rooms next door set the heating so high. And that while it was only 9 degrees outside. Let alone in the summer, when it is also warm outside. There is no air conditioning.
No small refrigerator in the room.
And the bathroom smelled really bad. There was a continuous smell of rotten eggs coming from the bath.
Breakfast was extremely limited. There was egg one out of three mornings. I've never had so little choice before. It was also Easter weekend. So we thought maybe there is something extra. But nothing

Ontbijt was ontzettend beperkt. 1 van de drie ochtenden was er ei. Zo weinig keuze heb ik nog nooit eerder gehad. Het was ook paasweekend. Dus we dachten misschien is er iets extra’s. Maar niets

When we first arrived, I made an appointment at the spa for an hour massage. It was amazing and relaxing. He was extremely professional yet personable. Visiting Roermond, this place seemed like a must go.
We've been there, asking how long is the tour. The reception was only willing to sell ticket. It was 30 minutes before the closing time, the tour is more than one hour, we were asking to the reception how long is the tour, and still, the reception only wanted to sell ticket.
- How long is the visit ?
- Yes, you can visit.
- How long is the visit ?
- Yes, you can visit, the ticket is... [forgotten price]
- Do we have time to see everything ?
- If you want to visit, the ticket is.... [forgotten price]
This was the conversation during 10 minutes, when suddenly, by somekind of miracle, the reception says that the museum will close very soon, and we'll have no time for everything....
So, let me ask you something.
Was it me speaking bad English ?
Was the employee speaking bad English ?
What's the point of selling a ticket as you know that people will have no time for the complete tour ? Are you scammers ?
Because of this, we removed the museum from our to-do list. We also warn people about this place not being 100% honest.
If one day, you become 100% honest, maybe we'll come back. Otherwise, good luck with your scam.

Wow wow must go!!! Unbelievable!
For all people 3 months to 120.
Good to begin with the “train “ bus, that takes you around all directions to see and know where to go.
First thing you have to ask when the birds show starts!
Then go back and walk all the way.
You can give food to the animals and go inside…. So cool.
And be with them all around you.
The wild birds are amazing! The “ Bambi “ so nice. You have pigs too and much more.
We came with something to eat from home.
Take water and good walking shoes.

Great place in beautiful nature, animals are wonderful and people take care of them very good.At very affordable prices you can spend a wonderful day with family. My warm recommendation!!!

Beautiful! Natural! Pure! I think it's one of the best open game enclosures in Europe. The ideal place for children, grown ups, couples, the elderly, in short for everyone. A huge parking lot outside with a nice cafe at the entrance. The tickets aren't that cheap. It costs 11€ for adults but on the other hand, it's so much worth it. For this amount you get so much in return inside. A magnificent bird show with all the best hunting birds for eg: Falcons, owls, different species of eagles and hawks, etc. You get to interact personally and feed varieties of animals like deers, boars, red deers, donkeys, lynx, sheeps, etc, etc. You can buy animal food at the counter, I think it costs 1€ per packet. It's pure nature inside with beautiful panoramas at places where mountains, river and the skies meet each other. We love this place alot and definitely recommend it to everyone. A MUST!

This small zoo is a wonderful place to discover and interact with some animals and to learn more about them. And as a cherry on top there is also a bird of prey show.
Unfortunately the show is in German, but the doesn't make it less spectacular.

Paradise for animal lovers. For 1€ you can buy a small bag of food, but make sure you get enough because there are so many adorable animals you want to feed!

A very nice play for an extended family day surrounded by animals. Watching the birds fly and getting some insights was great as well. We listened to a presentation of the birds in the German language. You can bring your own food or buy food onsite.

beautiful park with space for the deers wildcats and boars and more. Also amazong selection of birds to see. Nice park to walk, we come back here every time we are in the area.

Such a wonderful place! As an animal freak I was in paradise. Animals are well cared for and have a lot of freedom. Baby goats stole the show though! We absolutely recommend visiting. You can spend the whole day walking around and admire birds, bors, deer and whatnots. Best part...you can handfeed them, touch them and enjoy the nature. A must visit when in Eifel.

Nice place to spend time and enjoy the show with wild birds. In addition, you can see beautiful wild animals.
Meinweg National Park is a picturesque and serene destination, offering a terraced landscape with heathlands, woodlands, and diverse wildlife. It's popular for hiking, cycling, and horseback riding. The park features remnants of the 1879 railroad and the in 1962 aborted coal mine, adding to its historical significance. Visitors can enjoy extensive hiking and biking while exploring interesting geology and natural history. The area also offers pleasant cafes at the entrance for convenience.
Very nice atmosphere !
Good food and very friendly, personal service.
And above that all, the cook is creative for the vegatarien friends I treated on a dinner.

Extensive hiking and biking. Interesting geology and natural history. Quiet. Remnants of the 1879 railroad (The Iron Rhine, from Antwerp to Mönchengladbach) and the in 1962 aborted coal mine (State Mine Beatrix). Pleasant cafe at entrance (De Boshut), convenient for its facilities.

100-hectare resort on former Nazi Castle Vogelsang with guided tours, visitor & education centers.
I can recommend the guided tour. We did the tour for Dutch speakers, which was guided by somebody who was stationed for over 15 years on the Vogelsang IP. He did have a lot of knowledge of the history and also had some great anecdotes from the time he was stationed there.

Impressive! 2 nice museums, one about the history of Vogelsang, one about the animals of the Eifel.

Exellent museum! Was on my list for a while! U can also have beautifull walks in the Eifel Nationalpark!

Interesting premise but to our dismay the entire premises has been renovated to a pretty modern style. With government funds as well which is strange because the parking and the underwhelming exhibits were quite expensive for what they were.

First time here was1966.. Built a "Heavy Ferry" with the R. E. on the lake... Visited again in 1974 on exercise... Great place but at the time there were conflicting views regarding its history and past uses. Would love to visit again and take 'the tour'

I came here as a soldier during my military service so was little bit disappointed now that it has become a tourist attraction.
Still has a lot of history but beware of your physical condition , a lot of stairs , it's in the mountains on many levels

Great location for tourist when visiting the national park. We parked there for a decent price rate. From here you can get some nice panorama views of the park. You do require a bit of a decent physique though when going down into the park over the bridge.

A must see. The site itself is beautiful, the place has a stunning view and is huge. Walking around is really interesting already but the expo on National Socialism deserves a visit. It's well explained and helps understanding the (lack of) organisation of the party (although its pride was organisation!) and the effort to create people who would be able to carry out gruesome tasks without flinching. The abundance of info makes it quite comprehensive yet you can focus on one aspect rather than another (audioguides) several videos or audios as well as documents from 1930 1940s give you a good grasp of how the small group of anti democratic extremists took power and used it to satisfy their own agenda. scary!

A place that touches the heart. It shows how bad war and extreme views are. May it never come back and let our children live without armed conflicts. Children are always the biggest loser. It's worth going there, lots of artifacts from WWII. Our rating is 6/6 honorable. Greetings from Poland.

As a WW2 history buff, the area is filled with interesting sites.
While not the most jaw dropping or spine chilling experience I've had on my war-related travels it's fascinating to see what the place once was.
The megalomaniac ideas are very obvious when staring in the wide forested area.
First time actually playing paintball with friends and this was a good place for that. Very instructive and helpful. My friends and I were taken aback by the prices though. The suits were not worth getting because the paint goes through it and they are pretty flimsy. All in all: great workout and lots of fun!

Very nice place to paintball. Friendly and helpful people. Nice terrains with great obstacles. They have many more options than other places, such as; shields, different kinds of protection, 2 types of weapons, smoke grenades…
Overall great experience! Highly recommended

Not many places in a fully-modern world are as beautiful and relaxing as this small outlet town not far away from Köln. You can get amazing products and spend a great weekend here, keeping a fairly good budget. Here you'll find cafes, restaurants, gift shops, clothing/accessories outlets and spectacular views of antique architecture and a lovely landscape.

A very nice place, we going there from time to time
Modern thermal spa complex with an outdoor lagoon, saunas & a pool in a palm-lined, glass atrium.
Really enjoyed it here. Pricing is dynamic, so booking early is cheaper.
Large central pool, indoors and outdoors with currents and bubbles. Not that hot, but this way you can stay in the water for longer (water at 33C or 34C is lovely but becomes a health risk after 20 minutes).
Three warm salty hot basins and a steam room. They organize events. Easy parking. Next to a supermarket.
Watch out: kids only allowed on specific days.

Had a fun and relaxing day here with my Family. It was a bit smaller than I expected but very nice. The families with children were ask to leave before 6 in the evening, not sure if that is the same for every day. Well worth a visit.

Highly recommend to go and experience the peaceful and calm oasis in Euskirchen. I used the main area and the sauna and also enjoyed a 20 min massage.
The sauna space was my favourite as it truly is a place for rest, relax and re-energise. Everything is clean, enough space for everyone and the staff is friendly and approachable.
One star is missing as the food selection is an area for improvement in my opinion - at least in the restaurant in the palm paradise. A couple of Asian dishes or more vegetarian options in general would be great. However, the food tasted good (Flammkuchen and salad).
We definitely visit again!

I’ve been to a few thermal baths around Europe, and this one is definitely one of the best! Not expensive (around €95 for two people for every facility entrance), very clean and has delightful pools and sauna facilities, which are very well decorated, as well. The food is very good and not so expensive, although it would be nice to have an English menu. Overall, had an awesome time and would definitely recommend!

Absolutely beautiful thermal bath, great facilities (many spas) and mostly clean. It's nice they offer salt and sugar scrubs for the saunas. The food in the cafe is awful (for sure the worst salad and pizza I have ever had, in terms of taste and quality of ingredients) but the drinks are good, although not cheap.
The price is high... Both for entrance and food.
As a comparison, there is a spa in Saarbrucken which has much more affordable entrance fees with better quality cafe... although in terms of the fully nude area, this spa is better for sure. The full access area is large and accommodating. There is also a spa in Cologne and it is inferior in terms of amenities and services. Overall this spa is better if not the best in this area.
We visited on a weeknight evening and it was not busy at all in terms of people, although it seemed to be short staffed. We waited 15 minutes to be admitted and then looked for another 30 minutes once inside to get a towel/robe. When we did find an employee to help us (towels, etc.) they were exceptionally delightful which was nice and totally made up for the inconvenience of waiting for services.

First time visiting, I was really happily surprised and will definitely be back.
Lots of facilities to use and restaurant food menu looks good.
However some construction work going on at the moment, some calming music would be nice just to distract from the sound of the renovations.

It's really really nice here, we only went to the swimming pool side, not the sauna.
I found it a bit pricey for only 4 hours that's why a star less.
There is a place you can have food right next to the pool, the pool bar is really cool and the water was really nice.
Overall a nice place, and would visit again.

Great place to visit. Looks like tropics inside, with palms , sunbeds and UV lamps. There's a pool indoors and outdoors and 3 therapeutic pools with Calcium , Selen and Dead sea Salt when you relax for 15 min. There's a bar as well inside the pool so you can enjoy your drink just there.
The best thing I liked is the time without my phone as no signal there😁
No pics as it's not allowed in Germany

Excellent place and highly recommended. A great option doesn’t matter the time of the year. You have the option to use the swimming pool area, the sauna area (with several dry sauna options - from 60° to 90° C - and one steaming sauna 60°C), or both. Nice staff, reasonable restaurant (sauna area), numerous chairs for laying down and relax. We recommend you both your visit via website and choose amongst the numerous options the place offers. Free parking at the facilities.

Absolutely zero complaints, I’ve been here SEVERAL times (min. 10) and every time I go I have a very pleasant experience. There are plenty of changing cubicles, more than enough. The toilets are very clean and tidy. The entire building smells like a luxurious spa. The massage therapists are friendly. The restaurants food is great. I highly enjoy having a drink in the bar within the swimming pool. The list of great things are never ending. Perfect amount of parking.

First timer review: (having experience from mainly belgiaN thermals , aachen and thermen erding)
Went on Easter Sunday, arived at 8.55am after a breakfast at a nearby McDonald's. Happy to say that the line was really short but did start forming fast at the entrance. Entered as a couple for the naked part.
Pros:
+++A drink fountain, a Big plus for doing so many saunas , and you can refill your bottle to stay dehydrated.. a taboo in many other thermals for not spending money on their drinks...
+++Friendly staff inside .
Lightnig storm hit us around 5pm so they closed the pool for safety, actually this earns a +++ in my opinion the staff concerns our safety while some weird guests were furious.
+++The pool , water is fantastic! Very soft. Welcoming temperature. Perfect.
+++ Although it's one restaurant combining all sorts, italian , burgers asia... Food choice is okay and the pizza was great. The prices are very doable.
+++ Saunas are huge ! And beautifully decorated/ themed. Though the kino, cinema sauna could use an update , the projector is old and barely visible . Lots of shows going on the same time , never felt I couldn't join due to overcrowding. Although I can imagine that overcrowding generally could happen on busier days like a Saturday.
Cons:
---no sleeping room / relaxing dedicated area which Erding and other thermals do have , for free.. and that's the name of the game here at euskirchen, to book a chair.. okay they're just 5euro.. which I regretfully passed on, but I had no idea there's no alternative at all! It's still disappointing to not have an isolated sleeping area. Loud and crowded anyway.
--steam sauna... Very small and just one.. compared to all the other immensely huge saunas . What's the thinking there ..
-indoor temperature very high. Hard to cool off unless you went outside, in a thunderstorm. Seriously, it was 40 degrees. Occasionally they opened the domes.. but in the evening, during dinner I kept complaining and we were both sweating throughout dinner inside . Hard to imagine what summer will be there like in that greenhouse.
- while there are many big saunas , they are all more or less the same in terms of temperature/ humidity. The shows lack quality and favour quantity, feel more just about creating intense humidity.
- pool bar drinks.. had a Pina colada and a iced coffee latte. Both substandard quality so left the half full at the bar .
- the non naked zone, did a quick passerby, seems sad. Way too overcrowded. It's a kids playground, very noisy, definitely not adult friendly coming from the other zone. How can one justify the near the same price of the naked zone..just go to a waterpark.and it's more fun at least. Erding had that in between zone, for those that prefer non naked, And still looked adult friendly.
Overall give it an 8/10. Will go again, not in the weekend , but middle of the week , book a chair, in a less crowded area..
Its a good mix between an Erding and a Belgian thermal. Just under a 2hr drive for us. So doable.

We had an impressive stay! I really liked that we were allowed to take pictures with our mobilephones to catch some beautiful memories. The food was delicious but the Currywurst was cold. We particularly liked the infrared lounger and the outdoor pool, which was warm even on a spring evening. The many exotic plants and the large loungers invite you to relax. We enjoyed our cocktails in the pool area. It was amazing! We definitely recommend the thermal baths...

One of my favourite places in Germany, if you are near this Spa, Sauna, relax place... Spend some hours and give you a prize yourself to relax your body and spend some special day there .
Sauna area was amazing, different temperatures on different beautiful saunas and also good pool with a bar.
Palm area and swimming pool is incredibly beautiful!
