The Peak District National Park is a beautiful and large national park encompassing villages, museums, hiking trails and camping. The area is surprisingly though known as the Peak District, there are no mountains to climb but do have lots of hills.
The Peak District National Park is absolutely stunning, I visited Water-cum-jolly recently for some climbing and it was a great place for experienced climbers. I wouldn't recommend it for absolute beginners as there's not too many easy routes.
There's on road parking close by, the short walk is pleasant and mostly flat which is rare when walking to a crag. All of the climbers and walkers we encountered on the day were polite and friendly. The climbing is a challenge as the footholds are so polished on most routes / problems but it was good practice for better footwork.

What an amazing place, feels like a hundred miles of sky.
The peak district rangers did a superb guided walk and showed us lots of amazing places and point of real interest. I met a whole group of people from totally different walks of life, got super rained on twice and walked under an amazing sky
Cannot recommend it enough

Serene & beautiful, ethereal & peaceful, just some of the few ways you could use to describe this gorgeous walk through Macclesfield Forest
Stretching over vast hills and picturesque vistas and delving deep into thick woodlands of ancient Firs to admiring the many reservoirs and the diverse array of creatures that call it home, there is truly something for everyone to make a connection with.
After 4 hours and a lengthy 8km walk, that following night I had perhaps the best night sleep I've had in months, truly at a complete peace of mind 🕊️✌️

Beautiful place to hike and for rock climbing. We will be back! Absolutely loved climbing the grit stone. It was a truly unique experience. The ancient oak trees covered with moss were absolutely beautiful. Whether you're looking to climb or hike or would recommend taking the time to visit this beautiful place.

The peak district national park is just incredible. Everywhere you look there is a view. Amazing for walking and cycling. Good for camping also but be wary of where exactly you are as the mist coming in quickly and can be boggy around here. Check weather. Also try to get here early and not at weekends as it can be a bit of a car park. However it is worth it, because it is just stunning.

So peaceful, so beautiful and such an amazing place to relax!
Can’t wait for another week away up there, lovely places to stay and eat as well so that just adds to the whole atmosphere.
The dogs loved all the amazing walks they had, I’m sure they can’t wait to come back again!

One of the UK’s most beautiful and quiet national parks. Personally, my favourite national park in England and Wales for cycling. Roads are relatively well maintained, little traffic, livestock well fenced and scenery is world class. Highly recommended.

Amazing scenery, one of England's most beautiful places. Miles of unspoilt scenery, you can walk for miles and enjoy the views or just do short walks, something for everyone. Just a few photos here which doesn't do the Peak District justice. There is so much more...! If you like quaint country pubs, shops, cafés then this is your place. The weather you can never guarantee so you can head to one of the local villages or check what's going on locally.

One of our favourite places! So many stunning views. Will always come back here and visit.
Our happy place!
You will not be disappointed when visiting the Peak District. So many beautiful little villages to visit too.
Parking can be a little tricky at peak (lol!) times due to its popularity.

Breathtakingly beautiful! You need a decent pair of walking boots, an OS map and compass and with a backpack of snacks and water bladder & then this is a dream area for hikers. Stunning whatever the weather, well worth a visit! You can walk for miles without seeing another person. Great for dog walking too, as long as the dog is used to uneven terrain and day hikes! Plenty of gorgeous places where you'll want to just stop to take in the views.

Love this place, the very definition of the great outdoors, visited at the weekend to go see the B-52 bomber wreckage and a part of history it was fantastic. Parking is not great but if you get there early you should find a space. Glossop town centre is about a 10 min drive from snake pass which is also worth a visit.

Beautiful place just a couple of hours north from London. We stayed in the towns of Leek and Buxton, which served as the starting point for our hikes. We were lucky with the weather; a bit risky and rocky to do after rainfall. Highly recommend, will visit again. Visited in Sep 2023.

We were welcomed by James at the entrance who had explained everything to us. As i was super nervous he reassured us its nothing too scary! He was extremely professional and he played his character so well. As for the experience. It was something unforgettable. As i am a huge fan of stranger things it was almost surreal to experience what they do in the series! All in all the experience was amazing id do it again ina heartbeat and James just made it 10 more unforgettable.

A great experience. It is not scary or claustrophobic. You get an hour to escape from various rooms. You need to be observant and try not to over think the clues. Very clean, free lockers too put you valuables, free parking outside or in Sainsbury's car park opposite (2 hours free parking) Everything is explained to you, and you also watch a short video. First time coming to this one as I have visited their Romford branch.
Came here with my boyfriend for my birthday and was not disappointed!
We chose the Ancient Relics room and was greeted by a lovely woman - sorry if this is wrong but I'm sure she said her name is Emma?
She showed us the trailer for our room and immediately came out in character. She explained everything we needed to do/use.
This was a totally different concept to what I was used too - going into 4/5 different rooms but it was very cool to have different themed rooms.
Emma(?) prompted us on a few occasions and had some quirky comments throughout which was great. The acting was spot on.
We had such a great laugh and can't thank her enough for making it fun and it started my birthday day off just right!
Thank again and can't wait to come back!!

This experience was brilliant
My son and his friend really enjoyed escape room in Hornchurch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hornchurch escape room is much better compared to the one in Romford as it has a waiting area and car park. When we arrived there were no spaces but a member of staff very kindly moved her car to let us park which was very helpful. Would definitely go back there !!!

Lively venue for community theater & musical performances, with a cafe & full bar.
What an amazing theatre! I loved Adrian Mole in the West End, so I was curious about how they would have adapted it. I was not disappointed and utterly loved it. Definitely coming for other musicals that are touring.

Marvellous theatre with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, but be sure to arrive early if you want a parking spot in the nearby car park. It fills up fairly quickly.
We watched Sleeping Beauty and sat in the middle of row J which we felt gave us a great view. The show was led by a talented cast which was hilarious at times and enjoyed by both adults and kids in our group. Highly recommend.
Vik Saidha — Google review
A very nice venue to see a show. The seating is comfortable with good views all round and plenty of leg room. There's a little shop selling drinks and snacks in the foyer. Ideally situated in Hornchurch, close to restaurants and bars ideal for pre-show drinks and dinner. My only observation is that the ladies toilets could be better signed as we ended up using the disabled toilet as we couldn't find them. We found out after they were downstairs but there was no sign pointing that way.
Nicola Constantine — Google review
Great show and no bad views in this theatre.
Would've been 5⭐️ if only we could've got an interval drink!
Small bar and very long queue. We had to go thirsty until show was over...bar doesn't appear fit for purpose.
But a good night was had otherwise.
Theresa Edwards — Google review
The Glenn Miller Orchestra were brilliant yet again, they played some standard Glenn Miller arrangements but also played other arrangements not associated with Glenn Miller. The singers were great too. The theatre staff were very polite and helpful. I cannot give five stars as the bar prices are a rip off. £10 for a small glass of house white wine and a can of G&T. Don't drink there.

The venue is nice with a good view of the stage from all seats. The only downfall was the heat in the theatre. I went to see an Arsenal legends show and it was packed but everyone was sitting there melting because it was so hot in there. No air con?
Lawrence Williams — Google review
Lovely venue with a real community feel - great to see workshops for children happening! The theatre itself is really comfortable and great views of the stage. The production was really good, despite a few sound issues. The cafe and bar are a great facility but are really let down by lack of available seats and tables, very slow staff and a lack of available products, at least on the day I visited

39 Steps is one of the best shows we have been to, anywhere! Fantastic acting from 4 actors who made this show a must-see. Excellent storytelling, props, animation, etc....we cannot fault it. Enjoyed every minute and highly recommend to anyone who enjoys humour and being entertained.
The scripts sticks extremely close to the original 1935 film and the way they convey the fast moving train and the escape across the moors is thrilling.
Well done and congrats to the actors....superb talent showcased in 1.5hrs!

Love this theatre. Doesn’t matter where you sit there is a good view. Seats comfortable and disabled spots available with carer seats. Arrived early and had some food/drinks from the cafe area. All very acceptable. Only found one disabled toilet though. Parking at the side of the theatre and a few disabled spots in front of the theatre but advise you go early to secure them.

Great venue. Roomy seats and you can see well from any seat. Nice to have the café for light refreshments. I wish theatre could do a deal with council to make parking a bit cheaper for those attending performances. I paid £7 for 4 hours by app. However, they do have slightly cheaper seat pricing for over 60s at certain performances which is most welcome.

Amazing atmosphere!!! I did not pay to enter as we were invited. There is a small carpark so be sure to come early to secure spot. I am not in to the betting so I can't be helpful too much. There is a drink bar with reasonable prices and you can use contactless. Food bar is on the ground floor. Burger and chips were nice. Good way how to spend money and evening.

Booked for a Saturday evening, clean stadium with plenty of parking, one of the security blokes came across quite rude was chasing us down like we were children! Shouting did you ID These two referring to me and my partner. Even though we were checked by the 1st security guy other than that staff inside were friendly and welcoming. Had a great evening few lucky bets were won food was nice and not to expensive, only downfall was the delay with the hare at the end which made the last few games run late so we ended up leaving earlier.

It's a good place to go for a day's entertainment, the food was okay and staff were friendly. It was rather cold due to ab overzealous use of air conditioning...something we are seeing more of in more places because staff get warm when they work, but don't take into account seated diners...brrrr.

A great evening. 3 course meal with plenty to choose from and sizeable portions. Waiting staff attentive and friendly. Tote Runners a really good idea to save having to keep leaving your table to put bets on. Will definitely be heading back there soon.

Came on a Saturday night so expected it to be busy (and it was). Had to queue to place bets and to get drinks but this is to be expected on a Saturday night.
Overall the venue was clean, the staff friendly and everything else you would expect from a night at the dogs.
Only issue is the parking, there is a car park next to the stand which gets full quick. There is a small car park at the bottom of the driveway entrance to the stadium and other than that it’s on street parking around the stadium.

Great night and excellent value, if you exclude the betting!! Very pleasantly surprised when we arrived and saw both the standard of the stands and bars, and the menu. Fantastic evening with the family. The stadium was particularly busy however that didn't detract from what was a very enjoyable night. Parking is limited so get there early and the queue for food, drinks and the tote take time so be prepared.
The iconic Tower Bridge, built in 1894, spans the River Thames and is a major tourist attraction in London. It's currently one of the London Bridge box girder style bridges, which was built from concrete and steel. The current bridge won't fall down any time soon!
It felt very safe, was beautiful history getting to see it. If you want to go here tell everyone you want to go to or get directions for the "tower bridge' or the drivers take you to a flat bridge that is also called the London bridge. Yep it happened to me so be more knowledgeable than I was.
Also a great little walk between the flat London bridge and the river with restaurants and coffee places. Very romantic little stroll ...London was amazing!!!

Firstly, although the staff were great at sorting me out when I didn't have a paper ticket and just one on my phone, it is not good that paper tickets are needed (and they printed mine out). In today's age and ecological crisis, paper should not be needed. They need to sort that.
There is no wheelchair access that I could see. Lots of stairs both up and down so be aware! There's also not a huge amount to see in the towers themselves. Considering this is not a free attraction, I would expect more.
Having said that, DO go to the engine rooms. That was excellent and informative. Well worth the trip.
Overall, just about worth it for the price. Don't make it your big trip of the day though. It's fun but short.

“Visiting Tower Bridge in London was an absolute delight! From the moment I set foot on this iconic landmark, I was captivated by its grandeur and historical significance. The majestic structure, with its towering towers and intricate Victorian architecture, truly exemplifies the architectural marvels of the past.
As I strolled along the high-level walkways, I was treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the River Thames and the cityscape beyond. The glass floors added an exhilarating touch, allowing me to marvel at the bustling traffic passing below my feet. It was an experience that made me feel both connected to the city’s vibrant energy and humbled by its rich history.
Inside the bridge’s exhibition, I was immersed in its fascinating story through interactive displays and informative exhibits. Learning about the construction and engineering feats behind Tower Bridge deepened my appreciation for this iconic landmark. The highlight, of course, was witnessing the bridge open up to let a passing ship through—an awe-inspiring moment that reminded me of its vital role in facilitating maritime trade.
The staff at Tower Bridge were friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to answer questions and provide insights into its heritage. Their passion for the bridge’s legacy was evident, making the visit even more enjoyable.
Overall, my visit to Tower Bridge was an unforgettable experience. It’s a must-see attraction for anyone visiting London, offering a perfect blend of history, architecture, and breathtaking views. Whether you’re a history enthusiast, an architecture lover, or simply seeking a memorable experience, Tower Bridge will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression.”
I hope you find this review helpful!

It's a must visit historic place in the centre of London. Very old and Iconic place. The beauty of the bridge can be seen from long distance. I feel everyone should get a ticket and must see the engine room along with the history of the tower from day one. There is a lot of information provided at the top of the bridge. When you walk on the glass way you will definitely get goosebumps. The place is always crowded so when you visit please make sure you have done the advance tickets booking as on arrival the queue will be quite long and you will end up waiting in line for an hour or more. If you want to take more pics and make reels better come early in the morning so it will be very less crowded. When you go inside the tower at multiple places washrooms are available. In short I must visit the place.

Undoubtedly a main photo spot in London, Tower Bridge stands as one of the city's most iconic landmarks, attracting visitors from across the globe. Its majestic structure, flanked by the iconic towers, creates an unforgettable backdrop for photographs. As one of the biggest attractions in London and a globally recognized symbol, it offers countless picture-perfect spots, whether capturing its silhouette against the skyline, witnessing its mesmerizing evening illumination, or simply savoring the grandeur of this architectural gem. With its remarkable history, striking design, and ample photo opportunities, Tower Bridge rightfully stands among the world's most celebrated and photographed attractions

Tower Bridge, standing just beyond the Tower of London, is more than just a bridge; it’s a journey through London’s heart. A short stroll across this iconic structure offers breathtaking views (yes, in a good way; enter Seinfeld reference) and a sense of history.
Crossing over the Thames, you’ll find yourself on a scenic walkway, a perfect vantage point for soaking in panoramic sights. From here, the Tower of London looms impressively, while the London Bridge and the sprawling cityscape stretch out beyond.
It’s a spot where the beauty of London is seen and felt. Tower Bridge is a inexpensive gateway to some of the most picturesque views.

Beautiful view of the bridge at night, really love it. Walk around the city and took a lot of pictures. The bridge is full with lighting and you can see it from the distance. Was very keen to visit it and it is a must visit attraction. The weather was really nice at night and lots of tourists were there.

It was a great experience to enter the Tower Bridge towers, go up and down the stairs and especially walk the two walkways above street & river level. The glass floors were really cool. They don't extend across all the way but only in the middle of both walks, and for people who don't like it there is a wooden walkway to the side so this is suitable even for the less daring. You get a great panorama from up there. The engine rooms also come with the ticket & you get to see how the bridge was operated in steam engine time.

The Tower Bridge. Now while there’s no cost to cross the bridge I would highly recommend purchasing tickets to go across up top. It’s well worth the steps. If you need to take a lift one is available but seeing the staircases, and all the factual, historical information they give you on the way up makes it all the more worth it.
We bought tickets for 13.30 and arrived a bit early, and the staff didn’t mind us getting in the queue. It was a bit long but moved very quickly, again you could take the lift or the stairs we chose the stairs (we were told there’s somewhere around 260 of them). As you walk up the stairs there are posts and placards that tell you all sorts of facts regarding the material that went into the bridge and other fascinating details. The wood creaking stairs only adds to the experience. Once at the top there’s a spot to rest even before going to the upper bridges.
You may think the entire upper bridge is “glass bottom” it isn’t, but each side does have a small section where if not to crowded you can even lie down and take a photo. You’ll walk all the way across one, down the other and turn around where then you can decide you next move.
Once down the stairs they send you off to the Engine Room which is also included and the gift shop. This alone has been such a worth while part of our visit, I would highly recommend it.

This review is for the paid attraction to go to the top:
Great view on one side. Tickets are much cheaper compared to other attractions, but that's not an excuse to throw in so many people into each batch. If the top was a bit less crowded, it would've been great.

Like many people I was also confused that this the London Bridge BUT when I visited I came to know that this is Tower Bridge. A marvel, gorgeous structure over the river Thames. The view is only good if you see it from a far distance. If the weather is good, you can walk across the bridge. There is a ticket to go up and if you are really interested to more about this deeply.

Another must visit in London. The most beautiful bridge in London I would say. Lovely pics from every angle.
Very busy place however you can do like we did and go very early to get pictures without hundreds of people behind us.
We had blue sky which made our visit a bit better despite the cold weather.
Be careful of people not following the signs which tell you which way to walk, a shame because it would make the crossing smoother.

Visited the iconic London Tower Bridge and was utterly captivated by its timeless elegance. The intricate architecture tells a story of history and craftsmanship that leaves you in awe. Whether you walk across during the day, with the city bustling around you, or experience the magical lights at night, every moment is a feast for the senses.
The bridge not only offers spectacular panoramic views of London but also serves as a testament to the city's rich heritage. It's a photographer's paradise—every angle is postcard-worthy.
Surrounded by charming cafes and the serene flow of the river, the atmosphere is simply enchanting. London Tower Bridge isn't just a structure; it's a journey through time and a must-visit for anyone seeking a touch of magic in the heart of the city.

It’s one of the two iconic images everyone thinks of when they think of London, so of course you have to go see it when in London. We didn’t go into any of the special rooms or anything, we just took pictures and crossed the bridge itself. The shop at the end on the South bank was a bit simple with lots of generic London-themed souvenirs and nothing special. Definitely cross it if you can, but be prepared for the crowds of people with the same thoughts. Pictures of the bridge from the South-West side are best to avoid lots of the big skyscrapers in the background.

Fabulous views and reasonably priced. The mirror above the glass floor was a newer addition I hadn't seen before. Although taking the lift would have been easier we enjoyed the climbing the steps up reading facts along the way, it made the top a treat. Photos from the top came out really well 👍Small children enjoyed the engine and pump room, it is very well restored.

The beautiful tower bridge. (Tourists often confuse this to be the London bridge.)
Well this is a bridge too, and check out the pictures to see how amazing it looks when a big ship passes and the bridge is open. This is one of a kind bridge. To know more about its construction do visit inside the tower bridge. It’s amazing to see vehicles crossing under you.
Great tourist spot , walk the bridge to see it in detail. It’s a must do in London!

It’s a very nice touristic place.. there are restaurants near by where you can also enjoy the view.. we took a walk on the bridge. If you want to walk on the top where there see through glass there is a payment of either 13 or 20 pounds but the tower itself is closed you can just walk along the corridor from one side to the other. Walking down though is free and it’s a must see when you visit London

This historic gem located in the heart of London is an absolute must-see. It's an iconic testament to the city's rich history, standing proudly as a symbol of its heritage.
I highly recommend getting a ticket that includes a visit to the engine room and a journey through the tower's captivating history from its inception. The wealth of information provided at the top of the bridge offers a deep dive into its past, enriching your experience.
Walking on the glass pathway is an unforgettable thrill, sending shivers down your spine as you take in the breathtaking views. It's important to note that this place is always bustling with visitors. To make the most of your visit, I strongly advise booking your tickets in advance. Arriving without pre-booked tickets might result in lengthy queues, which could mean waiting for an hour or even longer.
For those seeking the perfect photo opportunities or aiming to capture stunning reels, consider arriving early in the morning when the crowds are thinner. Additionally, you'll find conveniently located washrooms at various spots within the tower, ensuring a comfortable visit.

We visited London on a family trip and visited here. The scene of the bridge opening was awe-inspiring. It was amazing to actually see a scene that I had only seen on TV. Even when viewed from various angles, you can feel its diverse charm. I haven't been there at night yet, but I would like to visit at night if I get the chance.

Good tour. I especially enjoyed seeing the engine rooms. If you are using the London City Pass, note that you have to stand in line as if you don't have tickets and will have the lowest priority to enter, behind school tours and those that made time reservations, which isn't possible with the City Pass.

To see this bridge in person still leaves one in amazement. A very iconic part of London, indeed. We went there on a weekend and the area was understandably packed. At around 11am, the queue for the walk above was already long. We did not opt to go up for personal reasons, but I bet the views above are breathtaking, could be literally.

One of the most iconic, if not THE iconic bridges in the world. It’s painted and colorful and easily walkable. Nice wide sidewalks for pedestrians and lots of traffic of course. Stairs at each end. Views of the Tower of London and the River Thames and other very significant buildings of London.
The bridge is lit up at night and is even more glorious.

Really Really good attraction. Friendly staff and very informative. You enter at bottom go via stairs or lift. Once at top the views are fantastic their is also glass floors great for filming the cars and water below. Really good 2 hours spent. If you have a rail ticket you can go for 2 for 1.

Great place to visit with toddlers. Lots of steps to climb. But the 2 bridge walks on top and scenes around them are super cool. Engine room and touch screen plays are good time pass

It’s one of the most iconic bridges in London and it’s definitely worth a visit. You can cross the bridge for free on the ground level (where the cars are driving). But it’s also possible to go to the top of the bridge if you are willing to pay for it. You can enjoy a great view to either side of the bridge. It’s nice to cross the river as a pedestrian but if you find a bus that crosses there it’ll be just as good.

Tower Bridge in London is a must-see for travelers because it's super iconic and offers amazing views of the city. This big bridge with its towers and cool architecture is a sight to behold, especially when it opens up for boats to pass through. Plus, there are fun exhibitions to learn about the bridge's history. But sometimes it gets really crowded with tourists, especially during peak times, which can be a bit overwhelming. Also, there's an admission fee to go tower, so keep that in mind. In brief, Tower Bridge is totally worth a visit for its beauty and history

The behind the scenes tour is so worth the time and money! I'm an operating engineer so when we finally got down to the engine room to see the old hydraulic system they first used to lift the bridge, I was in my element! They had external portions of the machinery expertly preserved. Of interest, it was cool to see certain components on the machinery just like I see on modern machinery today such as Zerk Fittings for example. At least all the mechanical and engineering nerds like myself will enjoy that part! 😂
Of course, let's not take away from the breath taking views of the River Thames you get as you walk across the two higher level walking bridges above!
From top to bottom, you can almost feel a historic energy as you walk around reading about all the great men and women who funded, engineered, built, operated, and maintained this significant modern marvel and landmark of London!
The Tower of London is a famous landmark in London that houses Crown Jewels and iconic Beefeaters. It is home to centuries of bloody history, including scenes of prisoners being hanged, drawn and quartered.
Certainly a must see if you are traveling to London! The history of the Tower is hard to comprehend when you consider that the place is older than the United States. Lots of history to take in from the jail cells, torture machines, to the tower, the ravens, and all of the armament, weapons and cannons to see. The Tower also has the Crown Jewels on display. I would plan to arrive early if you do not wish to stand in line for extended periods to see the Crown Jewels. They are worth seeing though…especially if you want to see diamonds, emeralds and sapphires the size of golf balls. Unfortunately, photos of the jewels are not allowed or I would post some.
As others have mentioned, there are a lot of stairs, narrow spiraling staircases and some narrow corridors to walk through. That said, it was certainly one of the many highlights on our London trip. I’ve seen people give estimates of time for this visit. I would say 3-4 hours is probably a good estimate (not including a long waiting time in line for jewels). We read some of the signage on displays and then just passed by others. If you are the type who reads it all, maybe longer.

Great day out, lots of history and beautiful views of the castle and Tower Bridge and a nice cafe inside. You can follow a guided tour or purchase an audio guide, though neither is particularly needed as there is plenty of information displayed in all parts of the castle. Not really suitable for buggies or wheelchairs as there is lots of stair climbing involved.

Admission was a little steep but totally worth it. We paid under £30 per person, but it varies by date and what website you purchase through. We bought tickets in person and not in advance.
As soon as we walked in there was a beefeater starting a complimentary tour. He was very funny and informative, and explain the history of the castle and the surrounding areas with a lot of detail given to the history of executions here.
There is also an audio tour available at an additional cost.
We left his tour to go explore by ourselves and we saw the king's Chambers which were fascinating and included a marker in the chapel where King Henry VI was assassinated. Awesome. There were active guards marching around who still live inside the castle.
Actors were doing a play in the courtyard by the White Tower. There were plenty of bathrooms and a couple of cool gift shops.
You could easily spend three or more hours here.
As with most attractions in the city, parking could be a problem but we did not have a car.

It was a wonderful experience and a great place to visit. The history of the place is amazing. It is advisable to take the guided tour as the guide really knows his stuff and gives you some great insights into the history of the place and also gives good advice on what to visit next as the place is a really big place. You really need at least 4 to 5 hours to see the place properly and to learn about the history of the place and to take some lovely pictures. Well worth a visit.

A great place to come and and explore some of the history of London. Came here on a flying visit so didn't get a lot of time for a detailed visit although I would highly recommend. There's lots of interesting facts as you work your way around the map given to you as well you order yours tickets at the office. The crown jewels is another area definitely worth a visit although no photos are allowed to be taken here. Will definitely come back again for a more detailed visit.

Fascinating history, guided tours are amazing and definitely worth while so you can learn more about what you are looking at. Lots of information around the tower though. Absolutely worth a visit make sure you’ve got the legs for it there’s a lot of walking to do. We did the 45 minute tour guide well worth it. Saw the guards and importantly visited the white tower and the Crown Jewels. Unfortunately we got there later than expected and then found out the tower closed at 16:30. If you haven’t been go visit it is a must see my 9 year immensely enjoyed it.

This is a beautiful site to see. This is where the Crown Jewels are held and was a big fortress!! I mostly came here just to see the Crown Jewels, even though some of them were out due to the Coronation of Charles III, but this place was an amazing place to visit. But this use to be, and still is, a military fortress. A little fun fact, during WWI, the Tower of London did military training, even though it was still open to the public visiting the place. I just find that extremely interesting.
The Tower of London is one staple of London history, British history, and Royal history. The The Royal Family has their Crowned Jewels here where you can see them on display. Dating back to 1066, but made famous by William I (William the Conqueror) when he moved here in 1078. Kings William I (William the Conqueror), King Henry III, and King Richard I were living here at one point all adding to the historical site. The Tower of London has been a fortress for the majority of its time, but I found interesting is that it was used as a prison until WWII, with soldiers training here with the prisoners on a different side of the site. You can go see the Crowned Jewels here, which were amazing to see (there's no photography while seeing the Crowned Jewels). I truly enjoy walking the grounds here and seeing some of the Crowned Jewels the British Royal Family has to offer.

One of the main tourist attractions. We were here on a weekday in September. Although it was quite busy, there were no queues and it didn’t feel crowded. Extensive collection of weapons and armor, and interesting history of the place. The animal statues made of wire are awesome!

Amazing tourist attraction of this wonderful place,it is one of the most visited places nowadays since the Royal Jewels are guarded here. The Royal jewels are amazingly displayed, and the history of them is well explained all along the place. Big queue for the Crown Jewels once you got inside the Tower, but well worth the wait. I suggest everything try to come early in the morning around the 8:30 slot. It will not be crowded at that time. There are lots of things to see inside the tower. The Cafe inside is a great place to take relief. The exit is beside the Thames with awesome views of Tower Bridge.
We thought it will take 2-3 hours but we spend almost 5 hrs. The fortress is maintained properly. The audio guide helps you a lot when you are in. The Ammunition department is amazing.
I will definitely come back to visit them again whenever possible.

A wonderful place to visit when you are in London. It covers a little bit of the history of the city, military, history, and a unique look at the growth of the monarchy throughout history, including viewings, and tours of the royal jewels. There is a lot of information about the architecture of the building, and the views are amazing. I would highly recommend it to people and families.

Breathtaking scenery, amazing architecture. Get there early on the weekend because it gets very busy, especially if the weather is favorable. We were very fortunate with the sun being out! Apparently you're not supposed to take pictures of the crown jewels, but they didn't make me delete them thankfully!!

Amazing place to visit! We had recently come from Ireland and to hear the different pieces of British and Irish history intertwine was really neat! I highly recommend paying the extra bit for the audio tour once you get inside. It helps give you a little bit extra that you can’t get from just reading all the signs. I also recommend getting there before noon so you have enough time to see everything!

It is a very cool experience. You get to step back in time, seeing things from a long time ago. There is a lot of history and information to read and take in, so many cool things.
I would recommend buying tickets in advance for 9am. I was dropped off at about 8:05 and was able to get some good pictures of the exterior of the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge. There are a few coffee shops around, so you can grab some coffee before the line opens. I got in line at about 8:30 and was towards the front.
I would recommend going to the Crown Jewels first as you will have a bit of space before the crowds decend on the attraction and there is a long wait. Even if you have a voucher for a guide book, I would get it after.
If you have a voucher for a guide book, the place is on the right hand side of the building, the audio guides are on the left. So, if there is a huge line on the left, don't worry, you can slip in and get the book. The books are in several languages, and there is a option for the kids book.

A great day out. Its worth getting there for opening and going straight to see the Crown jewels. That way there will be minimal queues and you may get to spend longer in the crowns room than you would later on.
The rest of the Tower is great and an amazing deep dive in the English history. You really should go at least once in your life.
If you do everything it’s easily a whole day.

I came for my second visit in a little under 50 years! I was in awe of the architecture of the building and at how deceivingly big it was inside. I came along with a local community group and we took a tour with Wayne, a resident Beefeater. He was incredibly knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour! After eating our packed lunch, we decided to take a look at the crown jewels. The queue was quite long but it moved pretty fast. As we were waiting, we were greeted with the amazing views around the tower grounds. It was a tad cold and windy but I'm sure it's beautiful in the summer.
Going in to see the crown jewels, I was a little disappointed at the way it was displayed. It was quite dark and sparse inside. The crowns themselves were amazing, such beautiful jewels.
I would have liked to take a bit more of a trip around the other areas but on a quieter day. That's the only thing I don't enjoy, too many people around.

Very very busy and beefeater guide was excellent even though there were hundreds in his tour. Learned such a lot from him. Queue long to see Crown Jewels but moves fast. Worth a visit as they are spectacular. My grown up daughter is fascinated by the ravens and she was introduced to the keeper of the ravens who kindly allowed her onto the forbidden green and take a raven for a walk!!!!! Made her day . Its strange what makes a sensible grown up woman's day!!!!!! My American visitors were just in awe about the age of everything and they thoroughly enjoyed their day too.

Really enjoyed visiting the Tower of London. I visited with my daughters year as a school trip, so unfortunately our look around was a lot more rushed than I would have liked, but loved what I saw.
Seeing the armor for the kings & horses, the weaponry & where torturing happened was great. Walking around the site where Anne Boleyn, Catherine Howard, Jane Boleyn, Lady Jane Grey & others were executed & seeing the Traitors Gate where people would have come into the grounds & the towers where they would have been kept was brilliant. Seeing the Crown Jewels was amazing. They were so beautiful. The craftsmanship of the clothing, armour, jewelry, flags & tapestries was breathtaking. Seeing the guards on patrol was awesome & there are lots of people around who you can talk to and ask about the Tower to get more of a historical experience. There's an interactive room where you can get involved with things in there which was great and the chapel was beautiful.
There are some steep stairs and spiral staircases in places which some might find difficult, but all-in-all I really had a great time. Seeing as our visit was hugely restricted due to it being a school trip, I'd love to give back with my family for a whole day.

Wow, the Tower of London was even more incredible than I imagined! From the moment I walked through the gates, I felt transported back in time. The Yeoman Warders were fantastic storytellers, bringing the castle's rich history to life with humor and enthusiasm.
The Crown Jewels were, of course, a highlight – it's hard to believe they're real! But I also loved exploring the White Tower, wandering the medieval walls, and even spotting a few ravens (those cheeky birds!).
Whether you're a history buff or just looking for a unique London experience, the Tower of London is a must-see. Just be prepared to be amazed!
Tips for your visit:
* Get your tickets online beforehand to skip the queues, especially during peak season.
* Take advantage of the free Yeoman Warder tours – they're the best way to learn about the castle's secrets.
* Allow plenty of time to explore – there's so much to see and do.
* Wear comfortable shoes – you'll be doing a lot of walking.
I hope this helps! Have a fantastic time at the Tower of London!

Enjoyed my visit to the Tower of London. We did not have a long wait to see the Crown Jewels. Even though I have limited mobility I still enjoyed walking around the grounds; seeing the Crown Jewels and walking around the ground floor of some of the towers and generally just absorbing the hundreds of years of history at the Tower.
One of London's most popular tourist attractions, the London Eye offers panoramic views of the city from its 443-foot wheel. The Eye is busiest during holiday periods, but can be visited at any time of year and provides an excellent opportunity to see the capital from above.
Fantastic staff and attraction. Very convenient location and easy access. This is a very busy area, but it is well signed and easy to navigate. There are many services on site and you can enjoy the surroundings before and after the ride. The ride itself is fantastic and offers wonderful views of London - especially if you are a picture taker. The pricing is reasonable and you can also bundle with other attractions. We did find this a bit confusing, until we were helped by a friendly staff member. I had an absolutely fantastic experience on the London Eye during my husband's birthday weekend! We decided to purchase tickets in advance using discount vouchers we found online, which turned out to be a great idea.
Even though it was a busy day, our early arrival—30 minutes before our scheduled slot—ensured that we didn't face any waiting time. Staff was very friendly and cooperative. The entire family had an amazing time, and we got the chance to experience not just one, but two incredible performances, one was magic show and the other one was music show. The restroom was clean, though it's worth mentioning that there is a fee for using them. The weather was perfect, allowing us to spend a delightful 4 to 5 hours enjoying the stunning views and vibrant atmosphere. For those planning to visit with kids, I recommend bringing along some snacks and water to keep everyone energized. All in all, it was an unforgettable day.

The London Eye is an iconic modern marvel that offers a unique perspective of the city's skyline. Situated on the banks of the River Thames, this giant observation wheel is a must-visit attraction for anyone exploring London.
The experience of riding the London Eye is nothing short of breathtaking. As you ascend slowly in one of the spacious glass capsules, you're treated to panoramic views of London's most famous landmarks, including Big Ben, the Shard, and St. Paul's Cathedral. The slow rotation ensures you have ample time to take in the sights, and the bird's-eye view of the bustling city below is both mesmerizing and tranquil.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, providing interesting insights into the history and geography of London throughout the journey. Whether you visit during the day to enjoy the city bathed in sunlight or at night when it's illuminated by thousands of lights, the view is equally enchanting.
While the ticket prices may seem a bit steep, the London Eye delivers an unforgettable experience that's well worth the cost. It's an excellent way to gain a new perspective on London and create lasting memories. Whether you're a tourist or a local, a ride on the London Eye is an essential part of your London adventure.

It's London's must do tourist attraction. You can see for miles around and have a great view onto the Thames and houses of Parliament. It's always busy, so it always has a queue of tourists waiting to get on, but the queue is well managed and keeps moving all the time, as the eye doesn't actually stop turning, you are skillfully managed on and off the cabin as it moves slowly along the ground section. You can take bags on, which are checked by security, and take as many photos as you like. On a clear day, you can see as far as Scotland 😉.

Repeat visit after ~6 years. This time we bought advance tickets using some discount vouchers. Experience this time was much better as I think the overall crowd was smaller (not sure why). It was still plenty busy but the staff were quite good at guiding the people and sticking to the promised time slots which made the queue go quicker.
The ride itself was as wonderful as last time. Thankfully the little rain earlier had cleared off and it was pretty clear for the duration. Excellent views as expected.
Overall I think its a bit steeply priced (for repeat visits) but using discount vouchers made it reasonable. Definitely a must-do for first visit and in decent weather conditions!

Great tourist attraction. I'm pleased that pods are not overloaded with people. You have space to move about and take in the different 360-degree views of the capital. We've been lucky on the occasions we've ridden the eye and gad sunny and clear days. I think nighttime would also be an amazing experience.
The mechanism is slow and smooth. You hardly feel the motion as this rotates, and the inside was clean and smelt fresh.
It is surprising how high you feel when you reach the top, so if you struggle with heights, there's seating in the centre of the pod if needed.
This attraction is permanently busy, and rightly so. A great attraction to visit and experience in London.

Super cool experience. Got to see so much of London from this height!
Recommend going with a friend, especially if you have any fear of heights.
The line was long but moved fast. And there's even a chance to get a photo of you via green screen during the wait.
Highly recommend you get tickets prior. Just makes it easier.

A must do/see! London eye was such a cool experience! Book in advance and choose the flex pass for a few more pounds. We rode the London Eye at night and the view was amazing! I’m sure you can see more during the daytime , but the lit up London view was pretty magical! Heads up - you’re probably going to want to buy everything at the London Eye gift shop. But if you walk just across the way to the other gift shop (literally, right across) you will save some money and have more souvenir options.

The line's quite long but it's worth the wait. I really recommend to buy the tickets online.
Amazing view. You can see the landmarks of London clearly inside the capsule and there's also seats inside if you ever get tired of standing.

Had an amazing experience at London eye, one of the Top most tourist attraction. The whole view from the top is just amazing and beautiful top view of the city London. Best to visit with family and friends not alone for sure. Tickets are quite expensive but affordable and worth a visit.

The London Eye is the Most amazing experience. It is accessible within walking distance of the Tube stations and the view is absolutely INCREDIBLE!
I have had the privilege of doing this outing on the London Eye a few times and each time is more amazing than the next.
Don't miss out on a few hours to enjoy. The tickets are available on line and make sure to book the fast track pass. Much quicker and easier than the queue.
Carolyn Botha — Google review
The view is nice, but the windows are not very clean and the reflection of the light limits the quality of the photos that can be taken. The tickets have an entry time, but the queue control is not the best and you could spend two hours in the line. If you want to queue less (20 minutes) you have to buy the ticket that costs 15 pounds more. The ride takes approximately 25 minutes.

It was an amazing experience looking the whole London city on the top of Eye 🎡 👀. You can see Big Ben, House of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, The Shard, Tower Bridge and many more.
The only thing that was concerning, waiting queue was too long on the weekend especially during this summer time. I was tired standing for an hour and affected my experience to fully enjoy. Also, the position of sun 🌞 during that time ⏲️ , just between afternoon and evening facing towards me and sun rays blocking the other side to see freely. This is why I would recommend a time of early morning and the time during sunset 🌇 is even better (of course not during long summer days because of early closing time).
In the end, I would love to see evening view hopefully during the next visit.

Just look at these photos; it's worth the money you pay to ride the wheel. It's breathtaking. My advice is to buy the ticket in advance and opt for fast pass. We were there last Christmas, and it took us less than 5 minutes to get on. It costs a bit more, but it's worth every euro you spend. It's essential to go on it if you're in London.

Leisure walk by the riverbank. A great place for photos taking. Along the river walk there are many make shift stalls that sells food, snacks, desserts and souvenirs. The day we went were cloudy hence many photos taken does not turn out to our expectations. Very crowded too hence photos taking are a bit challenging. London Eye, Big Ben and Tower Bridge are within walking from one another.

I can't describe how the view from the London eye appealed to me. Although it is quite an expensive experience, it is well worth it.
Beautiful view and wonderful photos. Short waiting time and one round takes about 30 minutes. You can see the river Thames, the British Parliament and Big Ben. I recommend it!

One of the best viewing decks in London. The total trip is around 45-60 mins. The most preferred time to visit is during sunset because you will get to see some amazing sunset views. The night view from a distance is just majestic. Book your tickets online and u can select the slot of your preference.

My recent trip to London wouldn't have been complete without a visit to the iconic London Eye! April offered pleasant weather with clear skies and crisp air – perfect for enjoying the panoramic views from the pods. The wait times weren't excessive, and the entire experience was well-organized.
Stepping into the pod was like entering another world. As it gently rotated, I was mesmerized by the breathtaking 360-degree views of London. The city unfolded beneath me, with all its famous landmarks – Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament – clearly visible in the clear spring light. It was a truly unforgettable sight.
Here are some tips for your visit:
1. Book your tickets online in advance to avoid long queues, especially during peak season.
2. Consider a combo ticket that includes entry to other attractions, like Madame Tussauds or the SEA LIFE London Aquarium, which can save you money.
3. There's usually a 4D cinema experience included, adding another dimension to your visit with a short film about London's history.
If you are in London this attraction is a must-to-do thing especially in clear weather.

A cute cultural experience. I highly recommend it since coming to London and not going around the London Eye, it would be an incomplete visit. We were able to see everything up there, the environment is controlled by cameras and we end up making friends in the experience, since we are different people inside each capsule. We asked each other to take pictures and share experiences. In front we have other tourist experiences, I recommend researching as well. We paid an average of £100 to enter me and an 8-year-old child

Twas a very busy day but the queue moved quickly. Great experience, hardly felt like the wheel was moving hence I was relaxed the whole considering that I'm afraid of heights. Take note you have to be quick swift when getting on and off the ride as it doesn't stop, I saw very old people get on with fair amount of ease. We used our phones to take pictures but there's an option to take one before and as the ride ends and this is charged separately.

I think it is worth it, but just for one time. It takes around 30m. I can see outside with broad sight. It is a good space for taking a photo like Big Ben and city. I recommend you should try at night time.

Enjoy 360° panoramic views of London. Plan ahead and pay for the Fast Pass, it is 100% worth it to skip the long lines. Once inside, the ride around is about 30-40 minutes. There’s a bench in the middle to sit and enjoy or you can stand around to get a closer look. Fun experience for both adults and children.

The experience was incredible. Views amazing. The only reason I am giving the London eye 3 stars is the price and the booking For the London pass. There were plenty of times available; however, no more time slots for pass holders so we had to pay full price after already paying for the London pass. It’s incredibly frustrating when there are actually slots right at the time when you show up and you are told you still can’t use your pass and you have to book ahead. The price is way too much for this.
Laura W — Google review
The line was long but moved very quickly so it didn’t feel long at all. The eye moves at a slower pace so it is not scary getting on or off while it is moving. They do stop for people that need extra time to move. There is a small, very limited seating area in the middle of the pod, so if you are the last to enter you might not get a seat. The entire pod is clear so you can get a full clear view from every angle. There is a photo at the end and the side of the photo is labeled in the pod. It is a nice tourist experience.

This is one of the best attractions in London! We went at night and had a pleasant experience looking at the city lights. The ride itself was safe and slow moving. It was definitely elderly friendly. They don’t overcrowd people into each “pod”. It’s pricey, but worth every penny.

Big Ben is a cultural landmark located in London, England. The bell on the clocktower rings once every hour, and it has been called "the world's most famous clock". The tower, which is 16 stories high, was built between 1858 and 1868.
Lovely place. A great tourist place. Always big crowds. However, it is worth coming here. The Big Ben building is an extraordinary architectural craftsmanship. Today, after renovation, it looks like new. I highly recommend visiting this place in London.

Big Ben or Elizabeth's tower is one of the most well-known attractions in London. The view is lovely! Thought no matter when you are visiting London it's an extremely crowded place. I would recommend to have a quick stroll under Big Ben and continue to the next closest bridge to have a complete view of Thames river and Big Ben.
Vegard K — Google review
Big Ben is actually the name of the 13.5 ton weighing big bell inside the tower which had been the nickname and has been renamed with the Elizabeth tower.
And this is a really an icon of London and famous for its movements’ accuracy and reliability of telling time by striking bells every 15 min. Clock and dial design is very classic
As a part of the Parliament, I think this tower completes the perfection and beauty of the buildings which you may feel better when enjoying the night view. Without this, the Parliament would be a little bit boring even if its appearance is also fantastic. You can see and enjoy this structure from Trafalga square as well when facing the Whitehall. There are also may tourists spots like Westminster abbey, London eye and so on nearby so that you must visit and enjoy the nice view and sound from the clock tower.

It's a great view when they're not doing works on it or on the street. Night time pictures of Big Ben are great. You can take pictures from the bridge and towards the London Eye. Westminster Abbey and the House Guards are near. On occasions you can enter parliament but I've never been so find out times and details if you want to go in. Don't expect amenities nearby. Also, very few places for coffee, only a couple where you can sit down but not easy to find. Best cafes are five minutes away towards Victoria or Trafalgar but quite full most of the time. The London eye is near over the bridge and on the way you can see the London Aquarium, my kids loved it. Also, its an easy walk to St James park and Buckingham Palace. I find the park particularly nice with all the birds in the lake and the views towards the palace but better seen/enjoyed in good weather. There are toilets there as well as a couple of kiosks for snacks and drinks.

Big Ben, one of London's most iconic landmarks, stands tall and proud beside the River Thames, serving as a symbol of the city's rich history and enduring resilience. Despite its popular name, Big Ben actually refers to the Great Bell housed within the Elizabeth Tower, which is part of the Palace of Westminster, home to the UK Parliament.
Completed in 1859, the Elizabeth Tower, with its magnificent clock face and towering presence, quickly became a beloved emblem of London's skyline. The Great Bell, which weighs over 13 tons, chimes melodiously every hour, marking the passage of time with its deep, resonant tones. Its name, "Big Ben," is believed to have been derived from the nickname of Sir Benjamin Hall, the Commissioner of Works at the time of the tower's construction.
Over the years, Big Ben has endured wartime bombings, renovations, and even occasional maintenance hiccups, but it has remained steadfast as a symbol of London's resilience and endurance. Its timeless beauty and majestic presence continue to captivate visitors from around the world, who flock to admire its grandeur and snap photos against the backdrop of the historic Westminster Palace.
Despite undergoing restoration works in recent years to address structural issues and ensure its longevity, Big Ben still stands as a timeless symbol of London's past, present, and future. As the heart of the city beats to the rhythm of its chimes, Big Ben remains a cherished icon, reminding us of London's enduring spirit and the timeless allure of its historic landmarks.

The tower clock is something incredible to watch. It gives 2 different vibes when standing there in daylight and also at night. Both give different feelings.
The London eye is visible from here which makes it more attractive.
Less crowds, very near, but the road is busy with traffic.
The building, first listed as Grade II in 1970, was upgraded to Grade I in 2011.
In 2013, it was announced that 55 Broadway would be converted into luxury apartments, once London Underground moved operations from the building in 2015 to their new headquarters in the Olympic Park, Stratford, London.
In May 2014, it was announced that the architects, TateHindle, would lead the redevelopment and, in June 2015, planning permission and listed building consent was granted: however, this was not implemented and the planning permission expired in June 2018.
In September 2019, a long-term lease of the property was sold by Transport for London for £120 million to Integrity International Group, founded by Tony Matharu.
In May 2020, it was announced that Blue Orchid Hotels, a subsidiary of Integrity International, would convert the structure into a luxury hotel. (Wiki)
Let's hope they don't change much of its beauty..

At first I was worried I wouldn’t be able to follow the system or get myself lost. Which I did, end up going the wrong way. But it’s actually so easy to follow, it’s good to make a few errors as then you will be conscious of ensuring you’re on the right tube. London Underground is amazing and it is really easy to get around and see places. I would walk around central London. Use the underground when going further afield.
The trains are very regular, you will find they can get very busy, packed. Don’t feel you need to squeeze in, just wait for the next train as it will add to your experience and enjoy it better.
As you would anywhere just be vigilant of your surroundings. I felt very safe, as a solo traveler I was very surprised.

This is a good way to get around London. The new trains and updated stations are good. It is easy to get a ticket and to get around. However, the ventilation is poor, horrible, hot, and sweaty. It makes for an unbearable and uncomfortable ride. However, some of the trains and train stations have proper ventilation and air but most do not. I only take one train with no transfers, which is all that I can bear, and walk just to be outside where I can breath easy. I caution you to only ride when necessary and recommend you walk outside if able.

The National Gallery in London is a museum that features the works of some of historys most celebrated European painters, from the medieval period to the early 20th century.
I love the way the National Gallery have made visits easier by proposing three different routes - the A, B or C. This makes a visit there more manageable. In the past, I have been somewhat overwhelmed by the vastness of the collections.
The artworks were beautifully displayed but noisy schoolchildren fooling around and amateur artists plonked right in front of some paintings blocking your frontal view tended to mar slightly the wonderful experience. On the whole, though, it was a wonderful experience.

It always takes my breath away. I love to go in and find my favourite paintings even if I have only got 45 minutes! The joy that this treasured building is free to enter makes it possible to do this - and makes me so proud. I used to go straight for the museums…. Till the first time I went in! I was stunned by the depth of Turner’s paintings and the sheer size of some….. and the way they glow. Pictures cannot do it justice. Always try and make time for the gift shop. Look up at the ceilings…. Look down at the floors. Magnificent.

So huge, and wonderfully designed. The most famous pieces are scattered around which I think works well for the museum, as in places like the Louvre there isn't much done to prevent bottlenecking, whilst here I was able to see well known paintings easily without overcrowding, so I was able to enjoy them too! The spaces are very light and open. The exhibition on St Francis was very interesting, too. Like many museums in the UK the admission is free, and it would certainly be worth a visit even if it wasn't!

I mean, you kind of know what you're getting into when it comes to London's great collection of art. You'll find art from each period over the last 500 years, names you'll recognize both big and small.
Plan to spend at least an hour, and try to avoid a busy time if you can as it does get crowded. If you are going during a busy period, then definitely buy tickets in advance.

One of the best art museums located in the heart of London at the famous Trafalgar square.
You have to book tickets in advance online, however, entry is totally free and in case of non rush hours they do not even check your tickets which mean you don't have to stand in queue as well.
In addition to the portraits and the paintings the architecture of the gallery from the inside is really wonderful.

Another iconic place to visit in London. There are two sections here, one is paid, tickets available online. The other area is open to all visitors for no entree fees. We get to see different form of art from across the world. It's beautiful , well preserved and a good source of learning and inspiration for all the art enthusiasts and others.

I had a great time exploring the National Gallery in London. The variety of artists and their works on display is truly impressive. Each artwork has its own story, and I found myself getting completely absorbed, feeling inspired by the creativity and history around me.
I easily spent an hour just wandering, looking at the paintings, and reading about them. There's so much to see that I could have spent even longer there. Whether you're an art enthusiast or just looking for a culturally enriching experience, the National Gallery is definitely worth a visit.
The atmosphere is great for anyone who wants to immerse themselves in art and get a glimpse of different eras and styles. Highly recommended for a fulfilling and inspiring visit!

Super place for a family outing! The large number of exhibits combined with their diversity will provide hours of sightseeing. We spent more than 3h and had to move quickly. The opportunity to see the greatest works of painting up close makes this a must-see place while in London.

If you are a connoisseur of art then this place is a must visit for you. They have a beautiful collection. Many great artists' works are on display here and it's completely free (expect some special displays which are tickted). I spent a wonderful day here and would recommend this place to anyone who has an eye for art.

Free and worth your time. There are works of the masters you will recognize- Van Gogh , Monet, and Rembrandt. It’s also incredibly curated with incredibly kind staff that will answer any question. A London must do. (I didn’t have a ticket, there is a no ticket free line I only waited 10 minutes)

I’m not a museum-goer, so this review is from the point of view of someone who got outvoted on what to do. Turns out, this place was actually pretty cool. Seeing some of these 10 million dollar-plus paintings in person was incredible.

What a treat!! A wonderful collection.
This was a great opportunity to see amazing works for free. I love this concept. We're students and often skip museums because of the cost. There was a reasonable amount of people and we didn't experience long lines.

My wife was taking part in a sketching class outside whilst I wandered around inside! Who's who of painters covering 500+ years from the incredible fine detail of Canaletto's paintings of Venice to the broad brush strokes of Van Gogh. Free entry, just took a few minutes to get through the bag check. Also a bit of a queue for a free special exhibition - The Last Caravaggio.

The British Museum, established in 1753 with collections from Sir Hans Sloane, houses over eight million items from around the world. It offers themed departments such as Ancient Egypt and Sudan, Greece and Rome, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Oceania and the Americas. Despite its renowned antiquities like the Elgin Marbles, it's also toddler-friendly with a Families Desk in the Great Court for guidance and Museum Explorer Trails for kids.
Superb few hours here with our first visit. Allow loads of time as there is so much to see and explore. There is something for everyone and would recommend going to each level. Although it's free entry it's worth doing a donation as well. My grandchildren are also fascinated with the museum. Plenty of facilities to make the visit more enjoyable.

Excellent experience. Beautiful place outside and inside. Many interesting collections. Enough to do here for a whole day.. Download the app and you have your personal audio guide for all the exhibits throughout the museum. Food and drink is sold on site, and a nice gift shop to get yourself a memoir.

Some of the most precious objects in the world gathered in one place for the pleasure of the public. An incredible archive of human history, a life affirming glimpse into the past and an outstanding reminder of the depth of man's ingenuity.
Don't miss it. If your time is limited, plan ahead. Identify the objects or exhibits you want to see. A week wouldn't be long enough, to take the time, to appreciate every incredible treasure there is to see.

Fantastic experience! The staff were very helpful and the displays and exhibits were marvellous. Everything was laid out logically and spaciously.
The only negative point is there isn’t a lot of seating and it can be quite tiresome. More benches and seats are definitely needed.

A remarkable journey through the annals of world history and civilization. With its awe-inspiring architecture, grand statues, and captivating exhibits, it’s truly a sight to behold. From ancient mummies to priceless artifacts, there’s an abundance of treasures to discover within its walls.
The cleanliness and maintenance of a place can significantly enhance the overall experience. The well-maintained toilet facilities further contribute to the positive impression, ensuring that guests can freshen up comfortably.

Amazing experience and all for free! The history of the museum and its additions is a story within itself. The Egyptian section really tapped into imagining what life was like for them. The original museum building being staged how it was originally designed to be used was an insight into society and their interpretation of other cultures at that time. Absolutely fantastic and a Covid safe place to visit. It's hard to describe all the magnificent collections, you'll need to visit yourself 🙂

A wonderful experience on a very wet London day. We arrived mid morning and we were expecting to queue but we went in easily despite the security inspection. There is no cost so no awful queue like the Louvre. We were able to leave coats, bags and umbrellas at the cloakroom for a very reasonable price. This freed us up to enjoy the museum. It is huge! We got a free map then decided to buy the guidebook and study it before setting out. We went to the 3rd floor first and booked for lunch at the restaurant. We then did the 3rd floor which is vast before an EXCELLENT, late lunch. Then down to the ground floor galleries. Unfortunately, the Parthenon galleries were closed but there was so much to see that it really did not matter. Keep some energy: The gift shops and book shops were amazing but since we are travelling light, we had to resist.
We made a donation because this fantastic museum is still free. Enjoy!

As a big history buff, the British Museum certainly didn't disappoint me. I was at the museum with my family, and it was an experience I will never forget.
Even though there were a lot of people and the museum seemed a bit cluttered, once you got to the areas where there weren't so many people, it was a dream come true for me. Beautiful and containing descriptions, I spent several hours in the museum. I liked the passage of ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia and Japan the best. But the most interesting exhibit was undoubtedly Rosetta Stone. Although I understand that for someone who is not so interested in history, the museum may seem boring. For me, it was an experience ! won't soon forget and if l'm ever in London again, I'll definitely go again.

It’s a giant museum. There are many floors and many sessions. There are many samples from different continents and regions of the world (I wonder how they all ended up there?). You need almost a whole day to be able to see everything very calmly and absorb all the information. However it is a unique opportunity and you must do it, even more so that admission is free.

What a fantastic experience!
So much to see and learn!
We visited The British Museum on a busy Monday, full of guided tours and school trips.
It's free to enter and there are some paid expositions using a reserved space (free for members).
Definitely worth the visit.

I keep coming back here as it is such a wonderful museum. There is so much to see and you could spend an entire day exploring. It's an absolute labyrinth so a map is advisable. It was a hot day and the museum was quite warm so dress accordingly. There are some temperature controlled areas and seating throughout, should you need a rest or cool off

Our third museum visit on the same day. This was always our go to museum on past visits to London.
There is so much to learn and rediscover here, and we love the Assyrian and Egyptian exhibits.
Also, the huge covered roof creates such a wonderful place, with the two cafe dining areas bookending the souvenir store.
The reading room upstairs is also a must visit.
Entrance is free but you need to book your date and time online in advance.

The British Museum houses an extensive and diverse collection of history, culture, and art around the world. The exhibits are well-organized and provide insightful context.
We spent about 4h walking around and absorbing history. You can definitely spend more time because it's huge and requires a lot of walking.
Entry to the museum is free!
Would recommend doing homework on what you'd like to see the most and plan your route before your visit.
We took a map and clearly indicated "must see" which made it easier to navigate.
Overall, it's a must-visit destination.
Highly recommended!

Holy Moly! I've wanted to visit the museum for some time but living in Manchester I have struggled to justify the journey. I visited specifically to see the current Legion: Life in the Roman army exhibition and it was incredible. The amount of things to see and read was a bit overwhelming and I honestly think it would take a couple of days to see everything. The building is incredible and has every amenity anyone could need. Plenty of resting areas, toilets, cafes and gift shops, and although I didn't use it myself the disabled access seemed very good.
My only recommendation would be to go in with a plan and an expectation that you won't see everything. Plan the eras or sections you want to see and then come back another time to complete the rest.
It does get very busy and crowded due to large tours so patience is required but it is definitely worth a visit.
The only negative thing I can say is that it was hard to navigate at times as the maps are hard to read in my opinion.

Absolutely divine place! Everyone must visit The British Museum at least ones in a lifetime. But to be honest one whole day will be not enough to explore all rooms and exhibitions. We will return!
This is an outstanding experience with super comfortable amenities, delicious food, great rest zones, a lot of entertainment for kids. Can’t describe my love to The British Museum enough!

I've wanted to come here for quote sometime. Some fantastic artifacts on display here spanning different cultures and time periods. I really recommend but be prepared if go during school holiday a huge queue outside as you have to queue to have your bag checked before entering. So much to see you could spend absolutely hours here. I can't comment on the cafe as I didn't visit there but a stall outside a had an amazing late from.

The British Museum houses a vast collection of historical and cultural artefacts from various ancient civilizations around the world. Notable highlights include the Egyptian collection featuring mummies and the renowned Rosetta Stone, as well as Greek and Roman sculptures, Asian art, and Islamic art. With complimentary admission, it presents an exceptional opportunity for enthusiasts of history and art to explore and appreciate these remarkable collections.
Please note that it is advisable to purchase a ticket in advance and allocate sufficient time for your visit, with a recommended duration of at least half a day. Additionally, it is prudent to avoid visiting during holiday periods, as the museum experiences significant crowds during these times.

A vast amount of historical heritage in one place. Many civilizations, an immense museum. Be prepared to spend over 6 hours to visit the museum; it's commendable that there are places to buy food and drinks within the museum.
Book your tickets before the visit to enter more quickly, and also, do not carry a backpack as it will expedite your entry; you won't have to go through a check.

The British museum has the details and data about the historical data of various regions. There are 5 levels and each level has multiple regions
Will require 2 hours to complete. Entrance is free, but I will recommend buying a ticket in advance as the queue for ticketed entry is smaller

Have been many times before but went to see the temporary “Legion, Life in the Roman Army” exhibit. Totally spaced it and didn’t preorder the free timed entry and had to kill some time at the Starbucks across the street. Once in I explored some of the favorites - Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, Japan, and China.
The Legion exhibit was interesting. There were some wonderful looking artifacts and the displays were well arranged. I liked the idea of following along in the foot steps of a single person. My one complaint is with the patrons, not the museum - when the place is full and there are others looking at the same display, don’t be thoughtless and constant in front of the thing like it’s your own little party. Be aware and be considerate.

Fantastic museum and easily one of the world's best. You will not be able to see the whole museum in one go. There is an audio app for not much that provides details on many pieces. It's worth getting ahead of time. Still good to listen to after you leave the museum, too. One of my favorite pieces I only appreciated after the audio. Famous items will be hard to see due to all the people that want to take a selfie in front of it, instead of actually looking at it. There is a cloak room to put bags and coats so you don't have to lug everything around. Also, the west (left) wing has a quiet pizza place if you need to get away from the crowd.

The Victoria & Albert Museum is the largest museum of decorative and applied arts in the world. It has a wide range of exhibits, including creative activities for kids. The museum is also home to the Rapid Response Collection, which features contemporary pieces that react to significant moments in recent history.
The description of this museum (online) does not fully describe everything you will see here. It states textiles, fashion, etc. but it is so much more than that. The cast room alone is worth the visit, truly. We thought we would 'briefly' stop in to enjoy the museum, and ended up staying for many hours. Definitely worth seeing. This and the British Museum have been my favorites on this trip. Highly recommend.

My first time going here and i can’t believe why I have waited so long. I love everything about this place. Peaceful surrounds in a magnificent setting. Plenty of time to just stroll and really appreciate the exhibits and sculptures etc. Free entry (some exhibitions that you can pay for and which i will come back and do). Nice that there are people dotted throughout sketching etc so its nice to see their perspectives. This would have to be one of my favourite museums in the world.

One of my favourite London museums! It's a beautiful building both from the outside and the inside. Entry is free however there are some paid exhibitions. It's quite big and you can have a stroll around all day in the different sections and floors, each of them dedicated to a different time period. There are a lot of magnificent pieces of art - painting, sculptures, and other interesting pieces. There are gift shop, a cafe and customer toilets on site. If you're visiting London make sure you don't miss checking out V&A!

One of the best Museums in the world. So many interesting items. The collections focus on the power of good design and beautiful objects. A must see attraction in London. The museum offers free tours that run on every hour. The collections include contemporary pieces & old ones providing interest and breadth of design features. The Jewellery section is particularly rich with beautiful objects.
A huge plus The museum offers great options for sandwiches/Salads/soup/deserts and you get to have your meal in beautiful rooms or if the weather is nice in the outside garden and around the fountain and pool. DO NOT MISS THE museum SHOP 😍🥰

Incredible FREE museum. The Courtyard in the middle has a little pool where children were splashing around. Lots of tables to relax and enjoy a peaceful afternoon. The jewelry collection, the room of plaster castings…Go and explore, too much to see it all so just look at what you like! Or go back several times.

My most favourite museum in the world.
Amazing treasures from medieval times to present day. Beautiful galleries, amazing portraits.
I love the jewellery section, being able to see the jewels of people like Queen Victoria and then walk out and see them wearing them in portraits.
When I visit I want to redecorate my house with wonderful, beautiful things, that will last for hundreds of years.
We went early and it was lovely and quiet. Was reasonably busy when we left.

Love V&A. We were time pressed so we were rushing through. Need to allot a whole day to enjoy this place. The indoor outdoor spaces were very well thought out. Love the mix of ancient and modern.
And the fact that most of the pieces were not cased. Also loved the cafeteria. The rooms were magnificent. The food and food choices were very good for the cafeteria style restaurant.

This museum is right next to the National History Museum so plan accordingly. This is a beautiful museum featuring many displays from Asian derived to other European items. The V&A is an amazing place to visit; although I always feel a little lost in there. It’s enormous and just packed full of stunning displays, collections and exhibitions.
We were hoping to see the theatre collection but at the time of visiting the area had been closed because of low temperatures.
Instead we explored other sections including some of the jewellery, silverware, stained glass and tapestry. The V&A is definitely somewhere that you could visit multiple times and still have more to see.
There’s a really lovely atmosphere in the museum and the ground floor where you will see many people sketching us always packed. My recommendation would be to go up a couple of levels where there are fewer visitors and then you can soak up the atmosphere and really enjoy your surroundings.

The main reason why I visited the museum is to see the Gabrielle Chanel Fashion Manifesto exhibition which is now fully sold out. It is excellent and well curated. Many of her iconic coats and dresses are on display as well as her cosmetic range. The exhibition is not free but for Chanel fans it’s worth a visit. One also gets to see the history behind her creations. Two hours needed.
I also visited the sculpture section seeing the works of Rodin. It’s nice. As for the very much raved about cafe, I find it so so. True that the high ceiling is beautiful with great art work, the service of the cafe crew begs improvement. I find ordering a bit confusing too. But the place is beautiful and given that the museum is free except for special exhibitions, it’s worth a visit.

First time visitor. Solo traveler.
Recommendation: No children or minors unless they have an unusual affinity/appreciation for the arts. The ones I saw in there looked bored. Additionally, plan hours or days. The place is huge with multiple exhibits. Naturally everyone has favorites. But to appreciate the breadth of the museums catalog, one needs to plan multiple hours or visits.

Visited on a weekday(Friday). Entry was free and no bookings necessary.
It was massive with lots to see and appreciate. You'd need more than a couple of hours to really get the most of your visit. Spent about 3hrs instead of the 1hr I had initially scheduled.
No drinks and foods allowed in but there is a cafe and designated eating area inside.
If you love museums, this has to be a must see.

Hands down the most amazing collection of art and design I have seen. It's worth every second of the four hours spent there, and I can't wait to go back!
Take a look at the exhibit map before you start, focus on a few areas, and plan for more than one trip!
Also, grab lunch or tea in the cafe or out in the garden cafe. The food was delicious too!

Fabulous museum of arts and crafts, with so many wonderful exhibits, I don't think you could see everything properly if you visited every day for a year. My favourite galleries were the iron work and the modern glass. It is frankly awesome that admission is free.
A couple of minor niggles; the galleries are a bit of a maze, so it is not easy finding your way around, secondly the cafe is about as expensive as anywhere I have ever eaten - £5.90 for a scone, anyone?!

Absolutely necessary to visit while you’re in London. There is something for EVERYONE. There are pieces from all continents and cultures, and it stays true to its original purpose of art education and cultivation. I recommend the jewellery, cast rooms, and silver rooms for first timers. The glass room, renaissance rooms and Islamic room are also worth a visit.

Unfortunately, we didn't have time to properly view all of the exhibits.
The exhibits we did see were impressive. We caught an impressive live performance from the 'Red Ladies'. Their performance was certainly thought-provoking. It was a polished performance littered with impressive twists and surprises. The exhibits are well spaced out and information regarding the exhibits are very informative without being long winded and time consuming.
This allows for a speedy procession through the building.
We will return and allot the time the museum obviously deserves. Free entry is certainly appreciated.

My favourite art museum in London! There is a mixture of modern and traditional pieces: a little something for everyone. It took me approximately 5-6 hours and I strongly recommend not dedicating any less to this museum. But if you're short on time, I'd say still give it a visit. It's a visual stunner. I especially recommend the sculpture halls, cast courts and the jewellery rooms.
The musical exhibition is also fantastic but it might be temporary.

We included this museum to our plans as a secondary stop in the first place, but then we saw that it is a very underrated place!
We actually spent more time and interest in this place than the British Museum. It has such a wide range of pieces from all over the world and the design of the museum is so good that you do not want to miss anything. Moreover, it is not crowded like other museums so you get more chances to see everything at your pace and longer.
Also, you do not have to reserve your tickets and it's free, you just enter through through the door and you are in.
Definitely and absolutely a must-visit.

Starting out on the new Elizabeth line, we whipped across East to West London. Accessing the museum was easy a few feet from the South Kensington tube.
As you go in, donations are requested, and maps are offered. The exhibitions are well laid out, and the museum map offers a route around, and there are hours of exhibits to pique your interest.
The cafe is very expensive even for London prices £2.55 for a small water is unacceptable. But the tea room is a wonderful room, worth a look.
There are lectures and guides available. The museum offers a £5 audio guide, so beware expensive fake guides!! We spotted a few.
The trip was wonderful and we will return with a better agenda and more time. Maybe to take a sketch as well, which we saw a lot of artists doing there.

I love this museum, it's been a few years since my last visit. I looked around the jewellery display and the stained glass. Followed by coffee and passion fruit tart in the café, ending with a look around the gift shop. The building itself is beautiful and there's a great selection in the shop. Unfortunately I didn't have time to do anything else I would have liked to look around the Egyptian display. Well worth a visit.

First visit for many years and had an interesting and fun afternoon. The food in the restaurant was amazing and the dining rooms were worth a visit in themselves. Monolithic in size and content! Mainly helpful staff and good accessibility across the place, decent toilets and beautiful hallways. Some areas are in need of TLC with wording faded and tattered, with money being ring fenced for other more ‘exciting’ parts. This museum is expansive. If you give even a little attention to all exhibits you will be there all afternoon. Tapestries, ceramics, photography, sculpture, furniture too much to list really. Also right across the street from the Museum of Natural History and the Science Museum. You can definitely make a whole day and then some in this one area of London.
The Natural History Museum is a renowned landmark showcasing animals and natural phenomena through interactive exhibits and lifelike dinosaur displays. It hosts the annual Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, featuring over 50,000 submissions from 95 countries. Such an absolutely wonderful time. I love museums of natural history and I'm not used to going to museums for free so this was such a pleasant experience.
This was my first time at the Natural History Museum in London and there were so many wonderful exhibits. I was a little sad that the escalator which looks like you are going directly into a planet was down but this museum still had so many beautiful rooms filled with amazing aspects of natural history.
While I loved many if the exhibits, my favorite part was walking into the grand entrance. It literally looked like I was walking into Hogwarts. That may sound strange to some, but I was just in such awe of its grandness and beauty.
Definitely hope to return again in the future.

Ah the displays were wonderful! Everything was a delight. Especially the more famous displays. Was floored by the hanging skeleton of the whale in the entrance hall.
To anyone out there who loves museums. This is a must visit. You may not be able to cover it all in one day but it is sure fun to try.
Be prepared for some crowds I guess. It wasn't too overwhelming on the day I visited.

The most famous and interesting museum in London. It is also undoubtedly one of the most beautiful architectural buildings in London.
The entrance is free.
We were here on a weekday, so there weren't many people.
The museum is divided into 4 zones:
• orange - zoology
• blue - dinosaurs, fish, reptiles, mammals and marine life
• green - birds, insects, giant sequoia, minerals
• red zone - minerals, volcanoes, earthquakes, human evolution.
I really liked the blue whale - its skeleton hangs at the entrance to the museum.
° exposition with dinosaurs.
° exhibits of stones, miners, diamonds and stones interspersed with gold, silver, platinum.
There are restrooms inside.

One of the best museums I have ever visited. It was an unbelievable geological and biological journey in time. I didn't know what I had to focus on; the beauty of the building or the collection itself. I wish I had more time(maybe days) to spend here. It was nice to meet you Dodo!

Another wonderful museum in London! A place to spend a whole day! Astonishing architecture, wonderful collections, kids-friendly place, nice souvenir shops. I found the dinosaur and minerals collections especially fascinating! The curators have done their job brilliantly! The part on volcanoes was really helpful and insightful!

London Natural History Museum! It is a fascinating place full of history and archaeological and much more content! Place to go with family and children. It's amazing! Entrance free! Worth a visit! 🙌🏽.
Price: free
Transport: It is very easy to arrive by transport, train and buses 🚌 London has very efficient public transport!

We went on a Friday afternoon, and it was super busy and I think this affected the experience. I am the sort that typically require some space and quite to ponder on the specimens and exhibitions. There was also a long queue, guessing this had to do with the fact it was a Bank Holiday weekend.
The Museum itself wasn't bad. Sections of the building and ground was under renovation but this didn't take away from the beauty of the building. I thought it was grand. I loved the intricate designs both in and out as well as the elegant ceilings. Those were worth paying attention too as well. And the hanging specimens from the roof were a stunner.
Although the weather control didn't seem to work and it was mostly a sweaty experience, we still managed to have a good time. In the end, we found the Cafe/Restaurant on the ground floor and sat by a fan. The toilet was clean.

The Natural History Museum is absolutely enormous and very popular with both tourists and locals alike. Just like every other visitor we had to have a look at the dinosaurs but our visit this time was to see the photography exhibition.
The Wildlife Photographer of the Year is a paid exhibition but very good value as the depth and quality of the photography is stunning!
As in previous years I think that some of the best in the exhibit were taken by young people from across the world.
The staff do a good job of ensuring that numbers in the exhibition are limited so that you do get enough time and space to see each photo and commentary.
The Natural History Museum is a must visit if you are in London but don’t expect to see everything in one go-you’ll need to visit many times!

My recent visit to the National History Museum in London was truly captivating. From the moment I entered, I was greeted by impressive exhibits showcasing the diversity of life on Earth. Highlights included the Earth Galleries and the Darwin Centre, both offering immersive experiences. The museum's dedication to education and conservation was evident throughout. Highly recommended for anyone visiting London!

Impressive place. Highly recommended to visit at least once. At slow pace definitely can take around 4 hours to see everything. The collection is really interesting and the way the building looks makes things look even better. At weekday it's not too busy, although always some school trips will be there, but considering it's a free museum it's not a big problem.

One of London's most popular tourist attractions, Madame Tussauds wax museum recreates life size wax statues of famous celebrities from all over the world. With toddler-friendly activities and a wide range of themed galleries, Madame Tussauds London is an interesting place for any family member.
It was an amazing experience. The history of the museum was very inspiring. The details of every sculpture was so detailed that we feel a real connection with them. Enjoyed the day out here especially when the 3Dmovie theatre with the link up seats that give you the effects and sound of the movie and a really good day out for the kids and also wax hand craft you could try out were they make moulds of the hand indifferent waxes.

Nice place to visit. I had a lot of fun with my son passing by all of the celebrities and famous people. There is a special place for Marvel and Star Wars characters which we both liked. Better to book tickets early and select time to enter instead of waiting in a queue

Visit here was one of the best moments during our London-trip. This Madam Tussauds is one of the biggest I visited so far, several hours can be spent without any problem. But also it is one of the most expensive ones. Nevertheless a visit with the family is really fantastic, but I recommend to organize tickets in advance or to pay the fast lane tickets to enter earlier.

Spectacular. It was an adventure. A whole show in one. Great for the entire family. You meet the stars, have a ride through old London and participate in a short 3D movie; but you not done. A brief moment to experience being a superhero and then an experience for all the star wars fans. Highly recommend.

The whole experience was an amazing one. My advice is to never go alone if you really want to get the full experience, you need someone else to help you take pictures with the wax arts.
When you are taking pictures try to be creating, look where their eyes are pointed, and adjust your camera to match that. The results are priceless.

Unique experience, must visit. It is worth the price. Ticket prices include spirit of London ride and small 5D show. Only downside for me was that the Bollywood celebrity figurines were poorly made. Hardly resembled the real person. Also, keep in mind they keep changing the displays from time to time so my experience might differ from others.

This is a must see and recommended attraction any one must do if you are a tourist and local. See all your favourite figures all on near perfect wax models and entertainment. Staff friendly and covid cautious. We enjoyed our visit and would come back again.

Amazing experience whenever you go here. Good few hours with friends and family. There is not much to do for small kids though.
Love the spirit of London ride, also the 4D cinema experience is good.
Missed some of the famous Bollywood statues as they have been shipped to Dubai.
Must visit experience for anyone touring London.

Nice walkabout. Surprisingly less child friendly than I expected. Highlights were the Alien section, London serial killers and the Marvel 4D experience. Not much interest in the celebrities and the Star Wars section is a bit too small but still fun!

Beautiful, clean & well maintained. All the statuses were clean & very well maintained.
I loved the whole England history overview section with taxi ride.
Don't miss Marvel's section, specifically 4D movie.

I absolutely loved the museum! You get your money's worth, as there is plenty to see inside, there's a 4D cinema room and a little taxi ride with some history explained along the way. There was also a house of horrors, but not recommended for children or people with weak stomachs. You can also have your hand moulded in wax and there's a souvenir shop at the end. Work on spending 2.5-3 hours inside.

You book the ticket well in advance and then turn up on the given time slot while booking. I went to Madame Tussads ages ago, and quite a bit has changed.
There was a horror a bit which we missed and not sure whether we would like it so we proceeded to Avengers section which was really nice. I would recommend the Avengers 4d show it was amazing.

Absolutely magnificent and must-see attraction in London. There are a lot of things to see and great figures of celebrities from worlds of music, sport, art, politics, history. The short 3D Marvel movie with special effects is also very interesting and the part that we loved the most was the ride by train through the history of London. That is a truly great experience! It's interesting both for adults and kids.

Stunning and interesting Madame Tussauds wax museum.
Here you can take pictures not only with famous personalities, but also with movie or cartoon characters, and also take a ride through a tunnel that tells about the history of England in colorful exhibitions of those times.
We had a lot of fun, had a lot of fun and took a lot of photos.
There is also a souvenir shop at the exit.
We bought tickets online through booking, while we were walking to the museum, we stood in line for about 10-20 minutes to enter.

Its was a great experience. We booked our tickets online a day before. It was slightly cheaper than to buy on site as we got little discount. We went there on weekdays so there wasn’t long queue to wait and no rush inside. Inside its too warm, could be because of the lights and no visible windows for fresh air. The wax statues are fun to watch and take pictures with them. We all enjoyed a lot.

O experienta frumoasa!

A beautiful experience! I bought the tickets in advance online, but I went on a Monday and it wasn't crowded when buying tickets! Very nice tour, it was in several categories, firstly the wax statues of some famous people, then the chamber of horrors, then it took you on a little train made up of taxis and you visited the era of Queen Elizabeth (the most interesting part), then the Marvel characters with a small video in a 4D cinema and finally the starwars characters! Everything is interesting and it's for children too!

Wasn't expecting much. Never been before. Had already made my mind up in advance that I wouldn't enjoy it, however, I was wrong. It was a lovely experience. Some characters better than others, but the majority were very realistic.

We bought fast track ticket combo with London Eye (online).. Luckily we chose entry at 10AM because they open at 10AM. When arriving there was already very very long queue of people waiting.. Those with fast track ticket had special mini queue. We went through the security and then inside.. Being among first people gave us huge advantage.. We were there almost alone for about 10-15 minutes..
I was there after 16 years.. I have photos then and now.. Probably 90% of exhibition and figurines were different now.. Science and technology also moved forward because some of new figurines look astonishing, like alive.. Some of them resemble their alive clones not so much..
Being ahead of crowds gave us freedom to enjoy exhibition. We were done within an hour. Overally we liked it a lot.

"Had an outstanding time at Madame Tussauds London. The attention to detail in the wax statues is truly remarkable, making you feel like you're standing next to the real celebrities and historic figures. Each statue, crafted meticulously, offers a fantastic photo opportunity. The entire experience is brilliantly crafted to immerse visitors. The taxi ride, shedding light on London's rich history, was both educational and entertaining. A definite highlight was the 4DX movie – it added an awesome, thrilling dimension to our visit. With so much to see, we found ourselves completely engrossed, spending nearly 3 hours and snapping hundreds of photos. By the end, we were a bit exhausted but in the best way possible. It's a comprehensive and memorable journey that transcends just wax figures. Highly recommend for a unique London experience!"

Fantastic experience. A must visit attraction when you are in London. Wax figures look very real. Visited on Sunday afternoon and it was not very crowded at that time. They have figures of famous celebrities , Royal family, star wars and marvels. Spend a good 2 hours inside the museum. There was a good ride inside which was also fabulous. Try to buy tickets in advance that will avoid any hassle there.

🕯️ I've never been a fan of Madame Tussauds, except for visiting their wax museum here in London. I am really impressed and can say that every penny we spent here is really worth it. All the stars you know from Hollywood, film and television and celebrities in general from all over the world are set up here as wax figures. Even Marvel heroes are available as a 4D studio included in the price. There is also a taxi tour of England's history. They are fake taxis of course, see photos :) You can also buy merchandising items at the end of the tour (studios). and you should definitely allow yourself about 2 hours for the entire tour (some more, some less). Making our own wax hands was a big hit for us. When creating the wax hands, we were really impressed by Ahmed‘s artistic work. He's a genius and you definitely have to say that and praise him sometimes.

We had a great visit here. We came in first thing in the morning just before opening and lines were already alongside the building.
If you can come in early.
The place has several parts. One of wax dolls and one of a 4D film, one with a two sites ride and one with Movie characters.
The whole round took us about two hours.
The kids really enjoyed it and we would definitely come back here again. A great attraction.

Visited this popular wax museum a few months back for an event. The gallery was well managed and boasted a grand collection of well-crafted wax figures of prominent personalities. Coupled with this, the organisation of the party was outstanding, making the experience truly memorable. The staff were very cooperative and the ambiance was top-notch. A great effort by the management to keep up with the expectations of its patrons.

35 years on since i last visited and it was amazing! We had the best day out.. so many photos... it wasn't that busy neither considering it was a Saturday afternoon (mid march) and a big queue to get in.
There is good variety with the themes of the models, from action heroes to celebs and genres. They had star wars scenes too, which was my personal fave. There was a quite good 4d marvel movie as well. I highly recommend it, especially if you like taking photos.

We have been several times in the gaps and each time we were delighted with the new settings.
Worth every penny.
They are well organized, regardless of the big crowd. Everything goes very fast at the entrance.
You have as much time as you want to see everything in the Museum, approximately 1.5-2 hours is quite enough.
House of Horrors is really scary. Near the end, they also have a ride in a small train where they show scenes of life in London over the centuries.
It is recommended to buy a set of tickets with other sights of London because you can save a lot (for example, London eye and Madame Tussauds, price around £50 for adults, for 2 attractions). If you buy with several attractions, the price is even more favorable and the ticket lasts for 3 months.

It's worth the money and a lot to see, the taxi ride was awesome and the horror tour was amazing too! Aswell as 4D cinema! There was lots to see and I will be back again 🥰
I also loved the disco part where you could press the button to start a party 🪩 that was fun and I was enjoying it! It was very good 😃

A well spent 3 Hours!! The place had so many different themes that made it all the more interesting and enjoyable. Especially the Chamber of Horrors and the 4DX Marvel cinematic experience. As one of the main tourist attractions you definitely know that this place could be during the pick time a bit more overcrowded. If you accept it then you will have an interesting point of view even on the history of England. Except for the world-famous people you will see also life in old London. So you will see a lot. Thank you🤩
Camden Market is a large and eclectic market with a youthful vibe. It sells fashion and accessories, music, and more. It is located in Camden Town underground station.
On a Sunday, it's an amazing place with a lot of good vibes and people coming from all over the world to enjoy the international amazing variety of food, drinks, and sweets. There are authentic restaurants from all continents. The foods generally taste really good. The market is also very pleasant to the eye and the lake makes it even more beautiful. Camden Market is a vibrant and eclectic destination that's a must-visit for anyone seeking a diverse shopping and dining experience. The market's unique mix of alternative fashion, arts, crafts, and international cuisine creates a captivating atmosphere that's truly one-of-a-kind. However, it's important to note that the popularity of Camden Market can lead to overcrowding, especially during weekends and peak tourist seasons. This can make navigating through the narrow streets and exploring the stalls a bit challenging, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the visit. If you prefer a more relaxed shopping environment, consider visiting during off-peak hours to fully appreciate the market's charm without feeling overwhelmed by the crowds.

One of the best markets in London with four quarters/sections: Camden Lock, Stables Market, Hawley Wharf and Buck Street. Each quarter has its own style and is good for different things. Overall, the food stalls are great and there are tons of shops to browse. But my favourite thing is the atmosphere and being beside the canal.

Not a night place for kids but for adults. Kids can be brought during daytime. I don't mean kids aren't allowed, but small kids can be better taken to other places. It's a nice place to hangout with old and new friends. Plenty of eateries and pubs to choose from. Very hustling and bustling area. A lot of restaurants close at 8 and most by 9. Not a very clean place too. Go during day to click pictures in the umbrella street.

Made a quick visit here for few hours in the evening, great selection of vendors from apparel to food.
Picked up some body wash from a soap vendor which was great as needed small containers to take on flight.
Food was great, stopped at multiple food vendors and bought little bites from as many as I could until full.
There is also little containers people can sit in to stay warm and sit down to eat food they bought in the market, these are free and maintained by volunteers.

As a local what’s to say about Camden? It’s fun, it’s busy, full of tourists and unique shops. People thinking outside of the box and a more relaxed feeling. It feels a bit like Brighton some times. Odds Farm Park is a child-friendly attraction that offers animal petting and feeding, as well as exciting activities such as karting and crazy golf. It has an excellent gift shop and play area with a remarkable wooden playground, including a boat that the kids love. The park also features a large sand pit complete with diggers, although visitors wish there were more animals to see such as alpacas, lizards, Meerkats or snakes.
Amazing gift shop and play area. The wooden playground is amazing. Especially the boat! My kids loved the huge sand pit with diggers in. I just wished there were a few more animals to see. None were outside, but maybe that was due to it being cold. It would be nice if they had a few others, maybe alpacas, lizards, Meerkats, snakes. Many other farms like this do we have visited lately.
It also lacked a tractor ride, which my 2-year-old was asking for. Friendly staff. It looked nice and clean.

We visited for my daughter’s 2nd birthday and she had a great time. Not all animals were there which was disappointing as we weren’t informed of this on the website before booking - we found out when there that the lambs weren’t there for the feeding experience which I was hoping to do with my daughter. Parking was easy to find as we went on a weekday therefore, I can’t comment on parking on the weekend yet. The cafe was a nice place to have a break and they had good food options. Staff were friendly. The play area was great, my daughter had an amazing time. She was running around the whole time until she tired herself out (bonus for us as she slept as soon as we got to the car). Overall we had a lovely time and I gave 4 stars simply for not being informed of things missing before we visited. Would recommend and would visit again.

Had my daughters 6th birthday here today with around 35 guests in total. Staff were very helpful and friendly and service was second to none - in particular one of the staff, Molly helped us with explemlary courtesy and made a good day, great.
There is so much here for children of all ages to do that you can spend the entire day here letting them enjoy the fabulous soft play area, feeding the animals (although be warned, some of the pigs really stink!) and lots of other indoor and outdoor activities. Parking is free and the site is easy to access.
If I had to nit-pick for constructive criticism I would say that although the entrance fee more than justifies the amenities available, the food is a bit overpriced with a half litre bottle of Coke costing £3, chips at £4, tractor shaped cookie at £5 etc but other than the price of food it represents fantastic value for money and definitely worth a visit!

We love it here. There is so much safe space for the kids to run around, and an excellent selection of things to do. The softplay is brilliant fun, with thrilling slides and lots of climbing areas + a dedicated under 5s areas so they're not squashed by the older children. The animal barn is great fun. We love feeding the sheep and goats. And my little one loves all the outdoor play areas, especially the big tractors and sandpit playground. We've been 3 times now and only just scratched the surface, there's so much to do!
Sharon Spencer — Google review
I always judge the place by it's toilets - took only a couple of pics of toilets just outside the barn as it wasn't a pleasant experience anyway.
Apart from those not-so-appealing toilets, the place is good for toddlers and babies alike, perhaps up to 6-7 yo. My kids are closer to 10 yo mark and they were bored - mini rovers are slow and way too expensive for a lap /2 laps for what it is; go-karts were is appauling state, 2 were not working at all; mini gold costs £3.50 per ball 🫣 - a rip off.
Food is tasty but the kids portions are small so add £2 or so and get an adult version.
For family of 3 (1+2) I spent on tickets alone incl.mini rovers £64 - not worth it for us anymore.

We visited for the Halloween/pumpkin picking events. The venue, as always, was lovely. Lots of outdoor space, including play equipment suitable for a variety of ages. Be prepared to get dirty in the sand area when it's wetter weather. And of course, it'll be muddy. It's a farm. The piglets were popular with my son as was the "castle" play area and the ride on jeeps (he's 3 but wouldn't have been able to drive, an adult helped). Pumpkin picking was fun with lots of opportune photo moments, the pumpkins were a bit overpriced in my opinion, but we enjoyed the experience. We didn't have time to go in the barn on this visit but have enjoyed it previously. And we've never actually made it into the soft play as the kids have been happy outdoors.

The Coton Manor Garden is a beautiful botanical garden that is worth visiting. It features stunning Bluebell woods and picturesque gardens, which are particularly breathtaking during springtime when everything is in bloom. The staff are friendly and helpful, and visitors can enjoy a delightful lunch or tea with delicious cakes, including the recommended ginger cake, Cherry & Almond cake, and coffee & walnut cake. Additionally, the village of Coton surrounding the garden is small but charming with lovely houses that add to its appeal.
We visited in late April to see the Bluebell woods, which were amazing.
The Manor gardens were beautiful even though it wasn't in full bloom yet.
We had a delicious lunch before we explored and after we had a cuppa and a delicious wedge of cake....highly recommended the ginger cake, the Cherry & Almond cake and the coffee & walnut cake they were all fab (there was three of us, I wasn't being greedy 😉)
Great day had by all and definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys this sort of thing.

What a great place to spend a fantastic time. A beautiful garden with a magical forest filled with a sea of flowers. Lots of plants from different parts of the world creating one beautiful garden with birds, fountains, sculptures... It is definitely worth visiting if you love what mother earth has given us!

Definitely a well recommended destination. Very scenic and tranquil.
There is free parking, a nursery to buy plants, and a cafe with lots of variety.
Access to the nursery is free, and it costs £10 per adult to experience the gardens.
The bluebells were stunning and the main reason we visited.

Beautiful gardens. Go at the end of April,/beginning of May to see the stunning bluebell wood.
Loved the ducks, chickens and flamingos. Excellent lunch and cake. Good veggie choices. Well worth the entrance price.

Splendid garden to visit with incredibly colourful and diverse flowers (the map includes a summary of key features depending on month). It was lovely to see the hens and flamingos too.
The café has great options for lunch.

Beautiful gardens and lovely outlook. The owners of the gardens were around the day we visited, editing the planting. This made the visit extra special. Fab nursery too, if you are inspired to add to your own patch:)

Beautiful gardens, lwell cared for, lots of trickling water at different levels throughout the garden.. Was damp underfoot but not too slippery. Nice to see chickens roaming and the flamingos too which didn't bother even though we were in touching distance. Cafe was well organised and reasonably prices.
Well with visiting

Coton manor gardens didn't open until 11.30, and the only morning bus route got here at 10.15, so keep that in mind! There is nothing to do in the area if you have spare time before they open. Ticket prices are reasonable.
The gardens themselves are very beautiful, and it is clear they have been cared for with great care and detail by the incredible gardeners here! I especially loved the species of plants and flowers and all of the dynamic uses of water around the gardens.
I was planning on bringing my young daughter but didn't, I definitely wouldn't suggest bringing a young child here as there are no activities or places to play and you are not allowed picnics on the grounds so I imagine they would be very bored. However, going without children was a pleasant experience overall. The cafe options are underwhelming with quite high prices, but the gardens themselves were fab, and there were hundreds of plant options in the nursery! I'm excited to see it at another time of year because different things will bloom each season. Coton manor gardens were shown in Carol klein's great british gardens show on BBC.

Flamingo birds are the best thing about this place 😍😍🦩🦩🦩
There is a huge garden that you visit , entrance is 7£ adult and if I remember right 3£ kids.
The Flamingo are walking freely so you might get lucky and get a great picture with them
There is also a plant nursery and if you go there in the spring time they are offering tulips/daffodils for donations 😍
A coffee shop is at the entrance/exit with outdoor tables, they are serving beverage and ice cream 🍦 and sweets 🥧🍰🍪

Beautiful place in the middle of the countryside. We decided to have coffee and cake only. £10 per person for a walk in the gardens we found a bit too expensive.

What fantastic gardens. Time and again I rounded a corner and gasped as another fantastic view appeared. I visited in September and the displays were gorgeous. It is certainly somewhere I will return to throughout the year.

Really enjoyed the day. Excellent gardens, flamingoes a bonus. Wild flower meadow was full of flowers and bees.
The cafe had homemade food which was very tasty.
And a nursery to buy the flowers you see in the gardens.
Well worth a visit.

Gem of a place. Historic house members get free entry to the garden. Parking is across a country road , so be careful when heading to the entrance. The gardens are beautiful presented with many different types of areas , with streams , ponds (with flamingos) and a bluebell wood. There is an excellent plant nursery on site as well as a large outdoor cafe. Food and staff were all excellent..highly recommended

Lovely house in lovely grounds tucked away in a little village in Northants. Beautiful gardens to wander around and lovely water features like a mini Chatsworth House. Went in early May and the bluebell walk was in full display in the little woods they have. Quite wonderful with an ancient feel to the place. Amazing flamingos and feisty chickens and cockerels gadding about the place causing mischief and comedy moments. The pigs were fun. Tea and cakes were really nice and the seating is really well laid out in a courtyard in the shadow of the manor. Really nice afternoon and good value.

Highcross is a large, high-street shopping mall in Leicester. It has a wide range of stores, including some of the city's most prestigious names. The mall is well-connected and popular with shoppers, who can find everything they need here.

We came here to do some Guide Dog puppy training around shops. All the staff were really welcoming and loved seeing the puppies in training. The place was clean ,tidy and very well stocked with a good selection of different shops and cafes. It was quite busy but queues were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Would recommend a visit and the Park and ride was well worth using.

Nice shopping centre with lots of shops. In the times I've been here, including peak shopping times on weekends, it's never been too busy. A lot of variety in one place and easy to get to. The John Lewis is a focal point and has the attached car park, with quite spacious parking spaces.

Nicely presented shopping centre, however it seems the shops you want are quite spaced apart, prepare for some walking. Depending on where you park it can be quite a way too. The food area is limited, we ended up shopping outside of Highcross in the main centre in the end.

It's clean and aestheticly not too bad, most of the shops are quite upmarket, and all of the food kiosks are way overpriced. It's a great place for gifts, splurging, and window shopping, but if you are on a tight budget or are just tight (like me), there are few places to bother visiting.

Quite a busy shopping center. The center has a great selection of stores but there are not enough elevators serving the rooftop car park so there was a wait getting a lift into and out of the shopping centre. It's hard to find a map so it can be tricky locating the store you want or bathrooms. The building is well maintained and bathrooms are well serviced.

The Highcross's cleanliness and organization were commendable, contributing to a pleasant and comfortable shopping environment. Moreover, the diverse selection of shops, from high-end boutiques to well-known brands, ensured that I found everything I was looking for. The presence of quality dining options and entertainment facilities also added to the overall appeal of the Highcross.

The car park will always be busy. And a little bit of pricy. Compared to other parking in leicester this is far batter. The weekend will be busy and will be a long ques for parking.

Although only a few minutes walk from the town centre, we haven't been there for years!! It's a lovely park with so many different areas for walking, cycling, a weir which the ducks seemed to enjoy and a small train 🚂 track. Some ares left to grow wild which were full of bees 🐝 & butterflies 🦋. The old ruins are impressive with information boards giving a good insight to life all those years ago. This leads into the pets corner and throughout the year a funfair visits too, but you'd have to look up when. So there's something for everyone with free entrance 👋🏼

Huge park near city centre. Any one can spend good time here. Very calm place with one cafe inside. Kids got free rope swings inside.
The major attraction is the miniature trains. And the best part is that you can actually get a ride on it. The cost of a miniature train ticket is 1.5 pounds per person.
Awesome experience.
The park has a lake inside and you can find duck everywhere in the pond. You will definitely love it. A must visit place if you’re in Leicester.

One of the most beautiful spots in Leicester! Sadly, but to get to the park you have to pass this factory zone with broken windows and graffiti… but after it there is a huge park with magnificent views, huge bright flowerbeds, cute birds, rivers and even a little Asian garden! There is a lake and there you can feed the geese and swans.

Amazing park with so many to do and see. We love this park and we come here every time we can. We love the squirrels, the ducks, the gooses, all small and big birds :),everything is so peaceful. If you are up for a picnic, give it a go,it's so nice having one in here. The park is always so clean and very well maintained, flowers everywhere. I am just a bit disappointed about the playground area, for smaller kids because they could have more swings, not only 2 for smaller kids and two for bigger ones, they could have more because when it's busy you have to wait a lot for a swing, but other than that all nice.

It is a must visit spot for people who are visiting for the first time. I think it is one of the best parks in the UK. There is a river, ancient bridge, a lake, big cafe house and roman ruins inside it. I must say the best attraction was especially for the kids but also for adults. The mini trains. It is operating every sunday from 12:30 and tickets for adult 1.5pounds. MiniTrains are real trains with steam engine and that makes them very special. Staff also absolutely friendly. Every visit to Leicester it became my must go to spot.

The National Space Centre is a museum located in Leicester that offers visitors a tour of the surfaces of Venus, an exploration into the origins of the universe, inhabitation of a module on the International Space Station, and gazing at Thor Able rocket in the Rocket Tower. The exhibits are geared towards the needs of youngsters and many are interactive, including trying on space suits.
It was a fantastic place for the family to visit. Very informative and lots of interactive stuff to keep the kids attention too. The Auditorium was really cool and a great experience , a must do while your here. You can bring your own food if you choose too but they do have a decent selection of food here too to choose from and drinks. Decent gift shop also. Would recommend anyone to go that enjoys anything about space.

Much more to see here than we expected! The different levels and how everything was displayed made the experience more cohesive. We were a couple visiting, but could see there is plenty to keep little ones occupied - even dressing up costumes. We went to one of the shows in the auditorium, about the night sky, which was beautifully presented. The cafe offered a range of food, and at surprisingly low prices. The entrance price, though, is quite high (in my opinion), but you can revisit during the year.

Visited today and honestly had the best time! So much to see and do and really interactive for kids and adults! We visited as a family of 3, 2 adults,1 child and the price is really good, especially as you can visit again for a year for free!
The food at the cafe was a really reasonable price and the small charge for a well maintained car park was gladly paid.
The many different sections were brilliant and the planetarium is amazing! The areas are quite big so you don’t feel squashed in and can move around without having to dodge round people which was good!
The staff were all lovely but a special thank you to David, who took time out to speak to my son about a particular star he was interested in that he couldn’t find information about in the museum. Everywhere is really clean (including the toilets) and well maintained, everything worked as it should.
My son is 5 and wants to be an astronaut and has honestly had the best day out!
Would highly recommend to anyone of any age and we can’t wait to visit again!

Came in the afternoon time to avoid being busy. Straight in on arrival. Given a map and staff briefly explain for you. Spacious downstairs, lots of different interactive buttons to press for kids. Pictures and costumes with signs explaining everything. Information facts across the walls. When going upstairs it got quite busy and really hot, especially when waiting for the lifts. Didn't stay up there long as it was quite a small space so wasn't as interesting as the main stuff downstairs. It is good to visit on a rainy day for something to do inside. Was also given a free pass to come back as we booked online. Would probably come back. Long ques to come inside the shows, so didn't bother with that. There is also a cafe for food and drinks and a little shop for gifts.

Fabulous place with a ton of knowledge.
I think it is too much space to cover in one day.
Because it was a Bank Day weekend, it seemed a little bit overcrowded at one point.
I think next time we visit the place we will do it during the week so it will give us the whole spectrum of emotions.
Highly recommend visiting the Planetarium. This was the cherry on the top of the cake for, as we left it for the end of our visit. It was totally worth it.
I highly recommend visiting National Space Center

I took my 3.5 year old child and he loved it. There was almost to much to take in for him. Although he can’t read most of the displays yet he still had a fantastic time interacting with the different areas around the space centre. There is a large ground floor area with a cafe and some different sections to explore, this ground floor has the Patrick Moore planetarium which is well worth a visit, sit in the middle seats for the best experience. There are 4 floors that can be accessed via stairs or lifts, all with excellent displays for all ages. £18.95 for a adult ticket, under 5s free and that ticket allows you to re visit for upto 12 months for free again. Car park is £4 for the full day. Great value for money.

Amazing value for money. Great day out with my 3 year old daughter. Very interactive but not entirely kid focussed, which means adults can enjoy a day here, too. Lots of well put together talks and live experiments from knowledgeable staff. The planetarium show we saw was "We Are Astronomers" and it was incredible - i honestly couldn't believe it was included in our ticket price! This place is cearly all about education and keeping the interest of science alive. They really do honour their motto of "science for everyone." Tickets get automatically upgraded to a season pass when pre-booking online. Parking is a set rate of £4 for the day (card and coins accepted). The gift shop is well stocked, with lots of interesting and fun bits and bobs, however it is all very expensive. Personally, i don't think there are enough bathrooms dotted around which made toilet trips with my toddler a bit challenging, however they are the only toilets i have been in that have both toddler and adult seats, which we found very useful. I didn't try the food at the small eatery, but it did smell amazing and would love to try it next time we go. There is a large hall with tables, highchairs etc and even a microwave for public use to eat home brought food/warm up baby food and it is kept constantly clean by the wonderful cleaners. Ultimately, this place is very cool and well worth the visit. I'd highly recommend anyone and everyone go check it out. The few staff i spoke to were kind, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and seemed genuinely excited to work there. Great atmosphere, not too over crowded (even on a Saturday). Great artefacts and lots of information on past, present and future space endeavours. Very interesting place to visit. Lots of various things going on at The Space Centre, so be sure to check out their website for info on upcoming events.

An amazing place for kids and adults alike. I've been wanting to come here for ages. There's loads to see, you can spend many hours here learning about the history of rockets, space travel, the planets and universe. Parking is £3 for the day and there is a canteen for snacks and stuff. There's lots of walking involved and the lift to the top where the tips of the rockets are is impressive! Don't miss the weather recording booth. It's a must and so much fun! You can put your email address in and have the video sent to you. Also one of the best things to see and experience is the largest planetarium in Britain. Be sure to not miss this and tilt your seat back for the show - mind-blowing! There is lots to interact with so beware of queues but the experiences are well worth it.

Really like this place with the kids, we got a family ticket in Jan and you get to upgrade free to an annual pass so we’ve been loads, it’s good for all ages, my 3 year old and I go the most. It’s good for a hour or you can stretch it the day with the kids. None of us get tired of going up the rocket stages. There are loads of fascinating things to look at interact with and read, we go a lot and always find something new.
You can take your own sandwiches and eat at their tables, when it’s busy they open up multiple lunch halls and seem very accommodating.
The coffees and hot drinks are very nice and reasonably priced, the food is limited.
The toddler days are very good with activities and sing songs and the like, be warned some of the days are premium and you won’t get in with an annual pass.
The shop has some good bits for under a fiver for the kids with the pens, pencils, badges and things like that, there are some expensive things as well.
A good trip out with the kids.

Easy to find, cafe on site for a quick cuppa and snack.
Great for all ages!

The entry fee of £18.95 for adults and £16.95 for children felt a bit steep. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t quite justify the price. The exhibitions leaned heavily on reading, which didn’t engage my child effectively. The absence of interactive elements made it less appealing for my son, potentially leading to boredom due to the extensive reading required.
On a positive note, the Globe cinema stood out, providing a fantastic experience that somewhat compensated for the
shortcomings.

The only way to appropriately sum up our visit to the National Space Centre is to say we had a BLAST! Wow! What a wonderful place!
We’re a space loving, nerdy family who generally love this kind of thing - but we’ve yet to find anywhere in the UK that scratched our space shaped itch… until now! The space centre is a fully immersive, family friendly and surprisingly accessible experience that goes to infinity and beyond with its fantastic range of displays, activities, exhibits and more!
The planetarium was breathtaking! We saw the show that was so beautifully done that I had tears rolling down my cheeks.
What was the real unexpected star of the show, was the Mission To Mars experience. It is so immersive that our 5 year old (who is usually the first to spot things that aren’t real) fully believes we went to Mars! It was amazing! She was chosen to hold Ada and still talks about it now, over a month later!
The cafe, while serving simple dishes, offers a cheap and delicious way to eat while sitting under a real spacecraft!
I would also like to mention, that as a hearing-impaired adult, the accessibility of this venue was wonderful. Staff went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get the full experience without feeling odd.
I would wholeheartedly recommend the National Space Centre! Now that we have a year’s return pass (included in online bookings for the price of a single visit) we will be sure to go again this summer!

Had a lovely day here. Very impressed with the SEN provision and understanding both at ticket desk and throughout the day. Nice coffee in cafe and not too expensive. Excellent value as you can return as much as you want for a year under the one ticket. Plantatrium show was also great but my chair wouldn't recline, my only minor criticism.

The Space Centre in Leicester was not my choice for a day out but I felt compelled to go and explore as it's on my doorstep.
There is plenty to see there and although not my cup of tea I could see thousands of people would disagree and loved it, the car park was large but it was rammed.
Children of all ages I could see were captivated by this place which has got to be a good thing , broadening their imagination, plenty of interactive stuff to mess around with.
Well done to all the helpful and well informed staff you're doing a great job 👋

This museum tells the story of the citys industrial heritage, with exhibits on transport, health and hygiene, science and technology. The pumping station itself is a fascinating place to visit, with four steam-powered beam engines from the Victorian era.
Free museum that we stumbled across whilst visiting the Space museum next door.
The staff were very friendly on arrival. Inside there is a nice collection of well presented exhibits looking at local history as well as the main pump room which has the machinery inside.
Overall a nicely presented museum - worth a visit if you are in the area.

Popped into the Abbey pumping station as we had visited the near by National space centre ,so we thought we'd have a look around this museum. It's free to enter, however they accept donations to help keep the place going, we donated. There are lots of interesting exhibits and large steam engines to look at. Its shows out Victorian industrial heritage. Its well worth popping in ideal place to show children around.

This a lovely place to visit, specially with kids. We've been here when was Mini railway day and we had so much fun and the little one liked it a lot. Train ride was 50p, but if you wish you can donate more, which we did anyway. Inside the museum is so beautiful with so many antics to see. The entrance was free but you can donate a few pounds if you wish. They gave us a paper with some questions with some characters and things to find inside to museum, keeping us so curious and entertained. We absolutely loved it and worth to go and visiting.

Free to enter. Some great examples of beam engines. A selection of old cinema projectors etc. Next door to the space centre, so you can combine the visit. Will only take an hour or so to look around. Please leave them a donation, even if it’s only £1. It costs a lot to keep this history.

What a wonderful museum. So interesting the facility. The pump house is still in opperation with volunteers starting her up on certain days through the year and days for steam engines to run.
My boys loved exploring the building for the bugs game and I will admit the wife and I got a bit competitive for the last couple. I was fascinated from the engineering aspect and the change through time.
It was free to enter and they have a lovely little shop to support as well as donations. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful.

Great museum, and they had kids' activities on. Great little train to ride with a 50p charge. The outdoor play area is brilliant and we took a picnic with us. They do have a cafe, too.

This is the next place you must see while you are visiting Leicester. Near National Space Centre. While you approach Pioneer Statue behind, you can see a massive digger from the past century by the main gate. This is the place...Industrial collection of machines and items used it everyday life 100 years ago and more. You can see one of the first electric cars inside the building , how works toilet, how tram works , etc. Great interaction between visitors and exhibits. Excellent place for family day. No admission fee .

A really nice small museum which is right next to the national space centre and is free to enter. The Victorian pump is in amazing condition and is worth the visit alone. Only marked down a star because some of the exhibits and the interpretation is very dated and in need of a refresh although still interesting.

An interesting museum and free to enter. The steam pumping engines were impressive and the rest of the museum suitably interesting. Easy to get round with a pram and there was a lift to the pump room. Free entry as well. Visited after going to the Space Museum next door. Excellent play area as well.

Victorian pumping station, engineering, but with the beautiful styling of the Victorian era. Exhibits from the local area too and guided tours and events on specific dates.
Playground for children.

One of the best museums we visited.
Free street parking.
Free entry.
Toilets on site.
Space Park is around the corner which is paid entry.
No food in the area but many sports 10 min drive away.

A lovely museum with lots of detail about the development of sanitation in Leicester from the early industrial period. There are also some exhibits devoted to the industries, which thrived in Leicester until recently. The beam engines are very well worth visiting when in steam. The little train is great fun and a bargain at 50p a ride. We have been many times, and each time we find something new! Some of the displays are quite dated, but that adds to the experience. The only time payment is required is when there is a special event and tickets for there are very reasonably priced.

The National Trust - The Workhouse in Southwell is a Victorian building that serves as a museum to showcase the workhouse program. It offers an educational and interesting experience to all visitors, who can explore the infirmary and roam around freely on the grounds and inside the house. The tour provides more information about the place, which is well-organized, with friendly staff making everyone feel welcome. Additionally, free parking is available for guests, while members of the National Trust can enter for free.
Excellent day out. Really interesting place. Well organized, everyone helpful and friendly, they make you very welcome. Very educational. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic Place to visit. A lot more to see than I expected. Gives a great insight to life in the workhouse with individual peoples stories. The National Trust have done a great job of recreating the workhouse and infirmary.
When you arrive you get handed a handset that explains things and stories as you go from room to room and then tells stories of objects within the room. The national trust appear to have made a great effort in making the place accessible for all abilities.
Brian Roberts — Google review
What an amazing historical experience. The curators and volunteers at the museum were excellent. Really made history come alive. You are able to "interact" with the exhibits. Listening devices allowed you to listen in to interviews with people who had actually lived there. Every room held a different story. So many books and crannies, doors and 'hidden' spaces. My imagination had no bounds.

Fascinating history of how the Poor Laws were reformed and developed into the Workhouse, which, in itself, was the forerunner of the Welfare State. We were able to catch the tour delivered by Ken - hugely knowledgeable about the history of the site. If you can get on a tour - do so. It doesn't cost extra and you will learn a lot.
We visited during the Easter holidays and they had laid out multiple games/challenges/items for visiting children - many of them knitted (see photos).
A really good day out and Southwell Minster is just the road; also well worth a visit.

Having visited here few times previously I knew this place was steeped in history and very fascinating to learn about how people lived in years gone by. The infirmary is an interesting addition to the workhouse and was not open last time I came. It takes a few hours to walk round and read all the information, great to step back in time and well worth a visit to support the national trust.

Lovely afternoon exploring the workhouse and infirmary. Went on the tour of the outside which gave some more information and used one of the electronic labels. Definitely worth a visit.

I found this place really interesting and educational. To see how these people used to be treated and how they lived was fascinating. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and me and the children had a really good time.
My girls both got an activity sheet to find the items, could dress as characters and were able to touch many of the items.
The restaurant here is fantastic. I had the biggest, tastiest Jacket potato meal I have ever had at a National Trust site. It was amazing and extremely filling. I'd happily go back for the food alone although I do highly recommend a look around the workhouse.

Loved it. So much history, walking through you can imagine yourself there, see and feel the people you shared the place with, and learn much about what conditions were like for those down on their luck. Informational plaques were outstanding in the information they provided. Staff were great and provided a lot of great information.

A fantastic trip back in time to the workhorse. Tours are available to join or you can buy a guide book or use the free hand held devices that you can scan at certain points to learn more about the building. Some nice displays and an art exhibition on the top floor. The volunteers are knowledgeable and those playing people from the time are fantastic and happy to chat, even matron. Cafe and toilets and the second hand book shop. Lots of stairs inside and you can visit all levels. All sign posted so you don't get lost

Interesting historical tour of the changes to the poor laws. Good guides in the form of small pads to view info on. Does not really get how grim the place must have been as the building is so well looked after. But interesting social history. Also have a go a the stick and hoop with your kids. It’s surprising how hard it is. Cafe is good.

Unusual National Trust property. Very thought provoking about workhouse and social services up to 1980s. Enjoyed textile exhibits as well. Womens quilt for domestic violence was very poignant.

Genuinely enjoyed this and the kids (8 and 6) took a real interest in everything. Give yourself a good amount of time, we were there 4 hours, including a picnic lunch (maybe 20 minutes). Each room had good information in it, telling the story of some of the real people who lived or worked there. The hand held devices for information were good and helped to keep the kids interested as they had to find the circles around the workhouse to place them on for the next bit of information. The only downside to these was that the information sometimes went a little too quickly to read, but we're short enough to watch a couple of times to get all of the information. Be prepared to read quickly though!!
All of the staff were very friendly. Toilets were clean - I did struggle to find them but I think this was more my failing than the centre!!

When we arrived we were taken by the satnav into the wrong car park. We were met by a lovely lady who was very patient, and let us park there as my wife is a blue badge holder.
On entry the lady explained the layout of the building and gave us an ipad like device that allows you to see information by scanning orange spots around the facility.
The walk around the workhouse was very interesting, well laid out with lots of information.
Staff was fantastic throughout and we finished in the cafe with a toasted sandwich and the best cheese scone I have ever tasted!
A wonderful visit and would highly recommend this thank you

This is a great place to visit to learn about the history of the workhouse and those unfortunate souls who had no choice but to enter these places in years gone by.
The National Trust has renovated the workhouse and infirmary very sympathetically, and in a way which shows what it would have been like for inmates back in the day. Interesting that it was still used to house families in the 1970s.
The volunteers are so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and I'd like to say a special thank you to Penny who helped bring the history of the place to life for us.
The café serves delicious coffees, scones and cakes, plus a range of other produce. Overall, a very enjoyable few hours were spent in this fabulous place.

Really interesting day out, to see how the inmates lived and worked in this huge place is fascinating. Their individual stories are very poignant.
The staff were lovely and very knowledgeable and there's a great cafe with teas, coffee's and soft drinks plus lite bites, cakes and pastries etc.
We had a guided tour at the start with a period dressed staff member around the outside of the building which was a great introduction to our most interesting day out.. Well done to everyone involved in keeping this historic place alive.. 👍

Such an amazing place to visit and experience!!
Lots of rooms to explore and you really got the feeling of what it was like for people who had to go there. Very humbling experience and the National Trust have done an amazing job of renovating it but keeping it as it should be!! Really good how they kept some of the rooms as it would have been in 1970's as well .
The infirmary was fascinating too and the knitted hospital was fantastic!!
Very well worth a visit to experience everything.

Definitely one of the best national trust locations I have been to. Explains so much about the way of life in the Workhouse and there's actors doing all sorts of activities as well. The only thing that could make this better is if there were an easier way to get there without a car.

A break from the NT stately homes, the Workhouse is a wonderful museum, bringing to life the conditions of an old Victorian Workshop.
Incredibly stark inside, there is a lot of information as you wander around to set the scene. (There are quite a few steps)
Parking on in site, a small (national trust scale) space outside.
We visited in March.
The City of Caves is a tourist attraction located in the Broadmarsh Centre in Nottingham. It is home to many different caves, including morning caves which are dyed in the Middle Ages. The most convenient opening is at Broadmarsh shopping center. There are also domestic and industrial caves available, as well as guided performances with Archie and Annie the archaeologists.
Absolutely stunning!
First off, the entrance is a bit hard to find, especially if you're navigating via Google Maps. Take the stairs next to the Contemporary museum and head all the way down, it's basically under the bridge, at the bottom of the stairs.
Once you've found it, it's a fantastic place! There are over 800 caves under Nottingham, every single one is man-made and had a specific purpose, including the only underground tannery in the UK. The tour is done with a free audio guide that elaborates on all the little details and stories behind the various places you visit, taking about 40 minutes altogether. It's very informative and goes into depth on the history and uses of these caves.
A fascinating place, not to be missed!

What an amazing place to visit! Situated 3 minutes walk from The Museum of Justice. Quick introduction from the guide and you make your way underground. Proper footwear and a jumper recommended as it's quite cool down there and the surface is not even. The whole experience was unique and it took about an hour to complete the tour. The guide (Natasha) was awesome and she kept all of us interested and entertained. You learn about city's rich history with a bit of joke and fun on top. Gift shop available at the entrance. Definitely worth visiting while your in Nottingham.

We did not know what to expect, and it definitely blew our minds. We parked at a bus station car park, and it was a very short walk to get to the caves. Easy to find. Staff were very friendly and helpful, tickets cost us 17.50 for two people on a weekday. The young lady explained the rules and helped to get the audio set up. It is audio tour, approx 40 min.
The caves are quite big and there is so much to see. It was a circular walk. Crazy to think that all of this is hidden under the city. Definitely recommend visiting. And it is good value for money. Hopefully will be back at some point in a future.

Loved going here it was a little hard to fi down but once you know where you are going it's nice, had to download the audio and have a set of headphones and you have to go on their WiFi as there is not much signal down there, I really enjoyed listening to the audio and listen to the story's behind what is down there I would definitely recommend going here to try if you have not already. I would go again if I was to take someone that wanted to go if they hadn't been already, the audio also tells you to mind your steps and head. I booked this over the phone, you can pay over the phone or on entry.

Good place to find our some history and have a wander around some caves in a city centre, not many places can offer that.
Pretty well thought out as there is an audio guide that you listen on your phone to and the qr code is dotted around almost exactly in the place I lost it as I closed the window it was on.
If you do, get the combined ticket with the justice museum as it saves you a bit of money, and both are great to go to.

Brilliant. Why on earth haven't we been here before now !! On our doorstep !! So, an easy tram ride in. A walk to The Contemporary and steps down the side of the building, towards a little skate park. Caves entrance on the right. £7 entry - worth every penny. There's steps down, and uneven floors, but nothing excessive. Really interesting to hear the various uses of these caves and tunnels, either via headphones or an app on your phone. Takes about 45 mins - an hour. These caves have been in use for hundreds of years, last used for housing in the 1920s. There's also a little gift shop, video to watch (but no toilets on site - suggested nearest are at The Galleries of Justice, minutes away). Great visit on a rainy day. It's suggested that you book a time slot, especially at peak holiday times.

Really interesting place. Never really knew this place existed. Very glad the caves were saved from the broadmarsh fiasco of the 70s. The guide we have was hilarious. A sort of informative uncle. The Joseph Else - JD Wetherspoon is a large, contemporary pub named after a local sculptor. It offers affordable comfort food and authentic ale. The establishment is rich in history, with the famous lion sculptures guarding the entrance to the Council House located in front of it. Joseph Else, for whom the pub is named, created a frieze depicting Nottingham's former industries. The interior of the pub boasts unique designs such as comfortable seating with stylish patterns and an impressive staircase.
This was a lovely pub to drink at during the night, where me and my friend sat on comfortable chairs with slick patterns! It was something unique seeing the staircase's design and the atmosphere was superb, with the tables having cleanliness maintained. The staff were really friendly and served me my drink very quickly, which was satisfying for the time!

Busy place and quite popular among local people. Personally I am visiting this pub because they serve very strong coffee and price is much lower than anywhere else around. They serve traditional pub classics food as well as English breakfast and that's a huge plate with a good food. I'd recommend You to book a table before the next visit for longer stay.

Typical of Weatherspoon chain. A nice meal at a reasonable price. Ordered on line from the table. Very quick and efficient. A member of staff happened to be taking his meal break on a table nearby. He noticed a couple of things we needed, and he interrupted his own meal, to ensure all our needs were met. Highly impressed with this young man. Unfortunately didn't see his name. However he is a credit to his employer and the chain he represents. Highly recommended.

Never ever again. If you want salt, just go other place.. We want 3 times or more salt. But they told that they do not have. I have never had these situation at any weatherspoon member...
We had to eat without salt......

Cheap drinks, but quality all the same, service good and always a mix of different ages students or hen/stag dos from various parts of the country. Some groups just out in there from a good weekend. Security very good on the doors but pleasant.

Group of 6 up for the cricket, rained off so found ourselves somewhere to have a couple of drinks and a bite to eat. Chose this pub and pleased we did. Food for a Wetherspoons was very good. Great service too

Service was OK but the food was shocking, I had the large mixed grill and it's the worst mixed grill I've ever had. The steak was so thin it had no choice but to be well done and the onion rings just crumbled when you tried picking them up.
The atmosphere was also very bad, there was multiple groups of students, which I have no issue with but they were very loud and volatile towards each other and the staff just left them alone and unchecked.
Even the bouncer/security just looked at them and smiled.
My first and last visit to this place.

Came here for a quiet breakfast. Nice and polite staff. The food was nice aswell, it was clean and the toilets was also clean. Only thing I can say is that you feel like you are crambed into the seating area. There is so many tables squeezed into a small place.

Lovely food, could have done with slightly bigger portions. My food came out super quick compared to the wait time given which was brilliant but my friend who ordered before me came out much much later and later than the wait time so we couldn't actually eat together. Good prices. Very busy, staff behind the bar did well upstairs. Friendly and helpful.

Ordered breakfast here this morning…
1.) the eggs was like rubber and well over cooked
2.) The bacon was black!
3.) The sausages was warm with no flavour
4.) the beans was cold and hard
5.) the hash browns was okay, toast was okay too
The staff member that served me had nothing to smile about.
This place has really gone down hill such a same I think the chef should think about a new profession.

before train had a few wines and an apple crumble. It looks on to a main square and had good views from upstairs

My party of 6 (4 adults 2 children) had a main meal, drink, and dessert. All in all the bill was just over £60. The food and drink were very good for the price. The service was what stood out for us and was above and beyond what we expected. Absolutely fantastic.

Definitely suggest getting a jacket potato with beans and cheese was really nice.
Nice view upstairs but quite small so you end up quite close to others

Our go Wetherspoons in Nottingham city centre, called in yesterday after a bit of shopping for a spoon’s breakfast, not too busy (can get really busy and you can struggle for a table ) friendly staff the usual good prices and a hot breakfast 😎

Another typical Wether spoons, pretty much like the Briar Rose in Birmingham. Very busy place. Real ales available. Enjoyed my visit.

We went in for a quick birthday breakfast at 9am. There were a few people in the pub, but it was deathly silent.
The lady behind the bar was polite, and the food was hot, but one of the coffee machines was turned off, and the other one was running low on coffee & it tasted very bitter. Loved the option of having mango chutney with our breakfast next to the ketchup.
To try and liven up the mood I asked the bar lady if she could put one of the TVs on, so everyone in there didn’t have to stare blankly at the beige walls. She had to go and ask the manager, who advised they couldn’t turn it on as they were “saving on electricity”. It didn’t seem to bother them that they had all the marketing TVs, the row of fruit machines & enough lights to power a small village on though…

It's bang in the market Square in the centre of Nottingham with a really wide entrance/ first bit of the pub with a lot of seats and standing area which makes it great for meeting up.
There are 2 floors so past the downstairs bar are plenty of seats and tables for eating or just drinking. In true Wetherspoons style the toilets are down 2 flights of stairs.
Upstairs is a bit smaller but there is a good view over the market Square (although the square itself leaves a lot to be desired) and if you are seated upstairs there are toilets on the same floor 😉
Let's face it for a central city pub it's kept very clean, it's fairly busy, it's cheap, the service from the staff and waitresses is usually pretty quick and good.
There is no parking but the trams stop literally outside the front door, the buses are just up the road.
It's a great place to start a day/night around Nottingham, I'd even go as far as to say it's the 'new left lion' which if you are from Nottingham you'll know what I mean.

This is a highly useful tram stop, having the transport running frequently in both directions for the city centre! The platform has a great elevation off the ground for boarding the trams and is also of an appropriate length, where you are able to buy tickets from the machine before travelling. It is comfortable to sit down at the benches as well, protected from above by a modernised shelter.

Lots of people out and about enjoying the summer sunshine. Eating their lunches, going about their business. Lots of atmosphere with a relaxed vibe. I really enjoyed my walk across the square today. The water features looked fantastic in the bright sunlight. Beautiful today! Recommended.

Main square in Nottingham and central point of the city. All the streets originating from the Old Market Square are packed with countless shops, restaurants, bars, pubs, cafes... To bad there are not more good bars and terraces right on the square. However there is virtually always something going on there, whether it is a food market, street performances, the wheel, the summer beach, the Christmas market...

Nottingham Castle is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Nottinghamshire, England and one of the UK's most popular tourist attractions. The castle and its grounds are home to world-class art collections, as well as historical exhibits on local history. Tourists can enjoy walks through the gardens or take a guided tour of the castle itself.
It was great.
The exhibitions are amazing.
The staff are the best.
When they saw we are in a big grand we needed a place to pray they emptied a room for us as we were a big group of women and children.
Highly recommend visiting and looking forward to go there again.
Robin hood adventure was great. We all loved the games.

Great place, we took my mum in law out for her birthday, and it was a lovely and interesting visit. £12 per adult, and you then have 12 months free admission, and because kids go free, we will be able to take our grandchildren as many times as we want, win-win, I say 😀. The art galleries and other displays were so interesting, and in my book, every day is a school day. Don't miss out on this experience.

The castle has been closed for so long I was looking forward to visiting finally but it has been renovated poorly. It's nice to look at from the outside but it's sad that there's hardly any original features left after the restorations. Nice views from the top. It doesn't feel like a Castle/palace at all, it's just a gallery now with a cafe and some bits of Nottingham history.
This should be so much better.
The grounds could be put to better use.
Not somewhere you'd visit multiple times.

5 Star Attraction. More than well worth a visit. Activities for young and old alike. Cafe and restaurant great to visit. Food very good. At the moment there is a Paul Smith Exhibition which is out of this world and should be in the castle permanently it is that good. There is thing's to do both indoors and outdoors. There is also a nice gift shop. There is great adventure play ground based on Nottingham Castle

Great castle with a 1 year lasting ticket.
Medium cost.
Has 2 coffee shops with lunch menu also.
The castle has 4 floor dedicated to robin hood, rebellion, modern gallery and art gallery. Children may love the robin hood floor as it has interactive videogames.
There is a lovely children park outside the castle.
You can also pay an extra for a guided cave tour, 25 min long, it is worth, but if you have the choose the city cave tour joined with justice museum is better.

Very interesting experience. Past mixed with new technologies. The place is huge, 3 floors, a lot of history, amazing views, interesting interactions like shouting from a bow and dressing up as peasants :)))) worth visiting. It took us 45 Minutes, but we were in a hurry. I think it may be a 2 hrs attraction. They have a little coffee inside and a souvenir shop. History lessons are done by interactive people on the screen. You can also watch cartoons about certain events around the castle.
Aleksandra Berezina — Google review
My wife and I had a lovely 4 hour trip here on Saturday. It really was a great experience. My only criticism would be that the robin hood adventures was only about 25 minutes long and meant that we couldn't do all the games and watch the film that was showing too. Aside from that it was a great day and really interesting. Thank you
Adam Russell — Google review
Great attraction for both children and adults. Lovely exhibitions on display, with plenty to see and keep you occupied for at least a couple of hours.
We also ate in the café; prices were reasonable, and service was very good.
The cave tour was also really interesting. Our guide James was very informative, and really brought the stories/history of the caves to life. Groups are small, and there’s plenty of time for photo opportunities.
If you’re a Nottingham resident you get a slight reduction on the price of your ticket with proof of address. And don’t forget at the time of booking to ask for the free annual pass; meaning you can revisit the castle as often as you like for an entire year for free!
Excellent value for money, and definitely worth a visit.

Went before it closed for second time very expensive and not impressed. But went again with grandson and his girlfriend on Sunday 30 July thought give it another go and miles better really had great day and ended our trip on cave tour with excellent tour guide and pint of Guinness in trip to Jerusalem and now can go again with same tickets so will be going again also café very nice
Raymondo Bradshaw — Google review
The castle is nice, however, the ticket price is high compared to what is inside and what you are going to do. Some galleries are alright, but it is not a museum and a full tour can be done in an hour. Also, the ticket does not include the cave tour, so you need to pay more for this and it has time slots.
Bilal Mubdir — Google review
So much to do! Cafe, museum, art, history, and children's craft activities. Plus a wonderful outdoor park. Plus a single day's admission costs the same as an annual pass, 12£ and children are free.

Easy day activity.
We went for Christmas market which was busy and had a lot of good food and things to buy. I was disappointed by how expensive everything was I would have been more inclined to buy something if the price was more fair.
£1 entry was good which included free entry to the castle/ gallery & markets with live entertainment. Would definitely recommend for the experience.

They have a souvenir shop .If you want to do the tour for the tunnels under te castle make sure you pre book your tri online. This trip is not included in the entrance price. It is a bit difficult to found a parking space near by.

Awesome interactive and family friendly art gallery and museum with fun activities for kids and adults! Lots of games and local Nottingham history including some lace exhibitions. Kids under 15 go free and we only paid £12 per adult for unlimited access for a year. Will definitely come back again!
Josephine Kenyon-Blair — Google review
This is a great experience overall, particularly for kids. There are many interactive displays, with the archery and quarter staff being very popular. Lots of interesting historical stories presented in very engaging ways (the noose display is bold). The outdoor play area is really well done and if you’re lucky the views from there are stunning. Kids go free and the ticket can be used for a year.
James Warfield — Google review
Plenty to do but it's not really a castle in the true sense. It was a castle and there are remnants of it and the building that is now there was a stately home I think. The ticket you purchase gives you access to the grounds for a year and we visited over two days. I would recommend you do the Robin Hood experience first which is the first entrance you can see when leaving the shop and ticket office. Some good interactive boards, virtual archery and virtual combat, all good fun. Some fun easy games in the medieval area and the rebellion gallery certainly kept my attention with portrayals of Nottingham castle's history. There's a more formal art gallery and currently an exhibition about people moving to Nottingham from the Caribbean and their heritage. Another thing recommended is a tour of the man made caves that wind their way throughout the hillside. The tour guide had superb knowledge and presented in a really interesting manner, Alrighty! I forgot to mention the views from the balcony are interesting and you can see many of the iconic landmarks of Nottingham. The coffee was good from the cafe in the castle that sells a selection of light meals and cakes etc. Presumably the one attached to the shop is similar. Finally the adventure play ground looks interesting and is suitable for children up to the age of 12. All in all a worthwhile trip.

Really nice place for a walk around the grounds- the museum inside the castle is great too, loads to do and see! Reception staff are friendly and helpful. £12 for a year is also a great deal!

Where did the castle go? Costs £5 to find out, but, a good day, great sights and great value. They certainly haven't robbed from the poor and gave to the rich here.
The Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall are two of Nottingham's most iconic performing arts venues. Both have a rich history and are known for their diverse performance arts programming. The Theatre Royal hosts productions from around the world, while the Royal Concert Hall is home to concerts by both international and local artists.Whether you're looking for theater classics or pop concerts, these venues have something for everyone.
Lovely place, whether viewing from outside or inside. I LOVED the ample space between the rows.
I also loved the fantastic show that I had gone to see ( Fascinating Aida).
It is close to my first ever place of work, which prompted an unplanned visit. I started work there back in 1972 and managed, this time, to see a former boss and someone who started work there back in 1978. (A Brucie Bonus for the day).

Went to see Blood Brothers and loved it. I've never really been a fan of musicals but this was so good with some really standout performances (The actors playing Mrs Johnstone and the Narrator in particular). The theatre itself is a real beauty. It's old so you have to forgive its shortcomings such as the slightly uncomfortable seats. Staff were all lovely. Highly recommended for a good night out.

Went to see Texas in concert. A modern new entrance to the rear of the original building with all the required facilities, toilets, refreshments etc. Lovely atmosphere in a cosy smaller venue whilst giving the professional feel of a larger venue. Will definitely be going to this venue again.

We went to see 'Book of Mormon' here and it was excellent.
The staff were all lovely and very helpful.
Just a heads up, there aren't any toilets on the middle level of seating which did make it a bit of a mad dash at the interval!

Had a lovely time with my daughter watching "Heathers". The theatre is almost exactly how I remember it from my last visit 24 years ago. There are toilets and bars on all 3 floors. A glass lift in the middle of the foyer makes all the difference for those of us who might struggle with stairs. The seating up in the gods is a little snug and the view for this show was quite restricted however the performance ( which let's face it, is the only thing we're there for) was amazing.
Samantha Hartin — Google review
Lovely theatre, adequate leg room for an old building. In terms of access for disabled people, I found the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Theirs a lift to the upper balcony but a few steps to reach the top. Big, clean disabled loo.
Good area to leave your wheelie walker.

I've been coming here for almost 30 years and we love it. There's so much charm and character.
Prices for snacks and drinks are extortionate but that's to be expected. Could do with a bit if a dust in places too.
However, as an adult of 6 feet, I really do struggle with leg room 😅
Chris Bannister — Google review
Regularly visit here. Never had a bad view. The staff are always pleasant and happy to help.
Accessibility: The seats are at a good height and there is a lift. Tram stop right outside.
Only downsides are the ladies toilets do get very busy and having to stand up for people to come out of the performances is annoying.

A lovely theatre trip to see the panto... Joe Pasquale was brilliant in it.
The theatre is a beautiful old building but does mean that if you're too far back in the stalls you can't see the full curtain of the stage.
Staff were very friendly. Drinks and snacks were massively overpriced!

We saw the philharmonic Orchestra and it was excellent. The sound of the music filled the auditorium perfectly. The building is modern and clean. The seating is a bit close together but still comfortable. Snacks are available. Just outside the theatre are many good restaurants, shops and a mall. Great location. Highly recommend.

I love live performances and the cast, set and direction in And Then There Were None, which my family and I saw last night were all brilliant.
The only downside to a trip to the Theatre Royal is the lack of leg room. I'm fairly tall but nowhere near the 6 foot plus of everyone else in my party, who were 'folded' into their seats. My advice - book early and choose your seat carefully.

Just thought I would take the time to say a thank you to all the staff at the Concert Hall on Saturday. Every single one of them were polite and courteous. My gran is in a wheelchair which was her first time using it since her stroke and was a little nervous, they made the whole experience wonderful. Even bringing the chair down to us at the end of the performance.
Toilets were very accessible and everything was sign posted for ramps and lifts.

Amazing performance in such an amazing theatre.
I've been to this theatre for years during my childhood and it was so nice to finally make the trip back here to see the show.
It's very well maintained and with a traditional look and feel, clean tidy and staff the theatre can be proud of. Will be making more visits back to the area and will be booking more shows to see.

quite an experience at the Royal Concert Hall! The seat and view being amazing is a plus, but it's disappointing about the rude staff and lack of information. And £2.50 for a bottle of water? That's quite steep! areas for improvement with the staff.

A wonderful evening at the Theatre Royal. We saw 2:22 a ghost story, a very intriguing play with little twists and turns, many little moments where you give a little titter. Be aware, though, there are some flashing lights that you're not made aware of beforehand.

The show Fairytale in New York was enjoyable just a pity the sound was too loud and it distorted the speech and singing of the artist.

Rufford Abbey is a stunning parkland that encompasses the remains of a 12th-century Cistercian abbey and a later mansion. The park offers various attractions such as gardens, shops, cafes, and restaurants. Visitors can explore woodland and lakeside paths, enjoy an adventure playground for kids, discover herb gardens, and even try activities like archery or boating on the lake.
What a wonderful Abbey and parkland for people to use. Only cost was £5 for parking which was well worth the money for the many hours walking and exploring. So good we walked the dog there again the following day.
Cafe, shops, adventure golf, gardens, woodland walks and lakes - it has it all.

The abbey ruins were closed due to maintenance. We enjoyed a walk and tranquility in the excellent country park. There are lots of pinic tables in good condition, so bring your tea and sandwiches and have a wonderful day as we did. There's also a play area for kids. Parking is £5 for the day. We will be coming back soon.

Huge park 🏞 with lots of open spaces and lovely paths for walks. The park no cycling policy. The lake is huge and the boats are ducks are nice attraction. There is garden & nursery, multiple cafe and a restaurant. Parking 🅿 is available but £5 for a day is bit expensive in my opinion. Overall a best place for picnic with family.

A great walk and a great experience overall. There it so much to see and is directed very well. The nature really captivates the site and the Abbey centrepiece is absolutely stunning. You could be there for hours finding new angles to take pictures from. Only negative is that we felt that £15 was rather steep for sausage roll, ice cream and drinks; however the food was of good quality. Would recommend for any couples, families, friend groups or avid photographers.

It's a beautiful place to walk around, there are plenty of paths to follow, some go through the woods, some around the lake. There are herb gardens, a garden centre, an adventure playground for the kids, sculptures and coffee shops. You can try your hand at archery or go boating on the lake, or just take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the surroundings. For me, a highlight was the cheese and onion pasty from the cafe near the mill, it was the best I've ever tasted!

This is a beautiful place to walk, especially at this time of year. There's plenty of history to discover if that's what you are into, but if you are more interested in getting out into nature, then this place is great for you. There are cafes and plant shops on route and plenty of benches if you are getting a little tired. At the Abbey, there is also a pretty good ice cream shop with a great selection. It's worth noting that there's a £6 parking charge for each car, but there's ample parking, and as I visited on the weekend, it was pretty busy, but it was still a lovely day out.

After researching places to visit in Nottinghamshire, I found Rufford Abbey, just a short 30min drive from Nottingham. It was fantastic. Really beautiful gardens and country house, enjoyed being out in nature and exploring somewhere new. Its a huge place and you could easily spend the day here. The food was good and very reasonabily priced. Loved it!

Absolutely stunning place to visit!
One warning of you have young children- keep a close eye on them as there was giant hogweed in the overgrown areas around the lake- right on the edges of the path so easily within reach.
The lake is gorgeous with plenty of benches around for a rest. Halfway round is a cafe and seating area. Some birds on the lake. We missed the ice house as my partner insisted it was right when it was left and wouldn’t go back.
Lots of space for picnics and playing football etc on the grassy areas. Some gorgeous walks in the woods.
The abbey itself is lovley to see. With some fragrant gorgeous gardens just by it.
Very well maintained grounds. We didn’t cover half of it hopefully next time I go back I’ll be with someone who doesn’t just wander where he wants to go and then go home, as I didn’t get to see much of what I wanted to. But that leaves plenty to see and do on another visit.
Parking is very reasonable at £5 no matter how long you stay.
Lots of families, couples, dog walkers, elderly, walking groups etc. so a very mixed group of visitors.
It was a fantastic few hours, I’d say take a picnic and enjoy a day here. They do have ice cream shops and a pizza place (unfortunately shut when we went). Not sure what other food establishments there are as didn’t walk that area.
Paddle boats are on the lake but they were also closed which was a shame as it was a weekend and very busy.
Well worth a visit. Most of it is accessible for wheelchairs too which is brilliant.

Lots of attractive spaces for families, individuals and others to enjoy with grassland, trees, gardens, cafe, plant sales and a lake also a play area. There are several good interpretation boards which are worth studying early in your visit. Always a great place to visit and meet up with friends and family. The lake is not too big to walk around and the woods / maze / play park keeps my kids entertained. National Trust Clumber Park is an estate in Nottinghamshire with woodland walks, a scenic lake, wildlife and a Gothic chapel. The park also holds ducal seats which collectively are known as the Dukeries.
Outstanding place for family visit, dogs friendly. Perfect for long walk with dog, for short breaks with all family, beautiful lake with lots of different kind of birds. You can rent cycle for chip in my opinia price. Cafe, Kitchen with nice range of simple food for everybody.

Ideal for long walks or bicycle ride. Spacious car park. Garden centre impressive. You can help yourself with fruits and veg and pay a recommended fee as a donation. Further down you get a restaurant and a gift shop. The lake is huge and you can walk all the way round.

Lovely place to walk. We did a 4 mile walk around the lake which took us somewhere between 2-3 hours. Could be finished in 1.5 hour without breaks I guess… They have cafe, public toilets which are nice and clean and second hand book shop with good choice of books in a good order for a little money. This money goes towards maintenance of the park so it’s for a good cause…
Environment is beautiful and it’s definitely worth of visit. Entry fee for adult is £5. You can buy a membership which gives you free entry to roughly 500 national trusts sites to explore… it was around £130+ a year if I remember right. You can apply on site in hours.
It’s also dog friendly… It’s easily accessible from main road towards Worksop. It’s suitable for kids, parents with prams and wheelchair users.

I have been to Clumber Park before but never into the area where the big house was situated.
Having joined the National Trust, we got free entry.
The weather was great which added to this wonderful walk around the grounds. As there is a lot of ground to cover we plan to go again to see more of what Clumber Park has to offer.

Had a very enjoyable stroll in the amazingly well maintained park. Was glad to see fellow park enthusiasts being kind and courteous, not leaving a mess or disturbing the wild life. My favorite national park that I visit when I have time, even if it is a journey to get there. Would highly encourage any skeptics to enjoy the great outdoors!

Beautiful location for walking and biking. You can hire bicycles on-site. There's an excellent cafe, and numerous places to stop and grab a drink. They have doggy ice-cream! The gigantic greenhouse is astounding, and doubles-up as a small local life museum. Grade 1 listed buildings all-around. Perfect place to come for gardening inspiration, and for musing over the waterway.

With 3800 acres of parkland, lakes & gardens with cafes. great walks, cycling, cycle hire, children's play area. A huge avenue which is epic to drive down there is much to do. The place differs throughout the seasons. Check out National Trust Clumber park.

One of the best parks the National Trust look after. Hardly any litter well maintained and looked after footpaths and trails ! Dog friendly with dog friendly cafe. Lots to do and see all year round for kids and adults.

Absolutely stunning place, views are amazing!
We chose to do the Lakeside walk, which was beautiful.
It was busy but it's expected.
We're National Trust members, so it was free for us.
Ate at the cafe, food was ok was some confusion over payment and not getting the order right but it wasn't a major issue.
Didn't do everything whilst here, so we will definitely return.

A great day out. Parking is plentiful and there is lots to do with family. Dog friendly. Plenty of places to walk, gardens to visit and organised activities for children. Highly recommended.

Plenty of different walks to do. We walked around the lake which is 5 miles but a stopping point half way around for a refreshing drinks was very welcomed. It was very accessible for all. Not much cover around the main shop and cafe area.

Such a beautiful (and vast!) Park! Really impressive. So much to see and great to walk around on a sunny day. I was really impressed with how well kept the park was. The Walled Kitchen Gardens were stunning as well as the main area itself. The Chapel is also beautiful and peaceful. Well worth the small admission fee to witness such beauty. Great day out! ❤️😁🙌

We went for a few hours out with the children and fur baby and had an amazing time! So many nice walks, plenty of photo opportunities along every route too! Dog friendly the whole way around which is always a massive plus point for me! The fun station set up for the holidays got a massive thumbs up from all three of my minions and the hay barrels seemed to massively please my little fur child 😂🙌 it’s a shame we went so late and couldn’t stay longer, we will definitely return again and go earlier to make the most of it 👌🌳 Make sure you’ve plenty of space on your phone or camera as I know that personally, well I couldn’t go longer than 5 mins without finding a photo opportunity for the gang 📸

Clumber Park has it all. The traditional NT offering but lots to explore on foot or by bike. A walk around the Pleasure Gardens and lake a delightful setting. Stunning wild flowers in the main courtyard. Excellent ice cream in the cafe. The walled garden is outstanding, the glasshouse is huge with lots of figs and grapes, The Store area inside is adorned with dried flowers, with seeds and produce to buy. The sale of freshly picked vegetables in the garden was really welcomed. Easy access and lots of space for parking. Somewhere you can spend all day and great for a picnic or meeting friends/family.

Another National Trust beauty. Because of this, it does get busy, and while there isn't a house to explore, there is plenty of land, a discovery centre, shops, cafes, a church, and a playground.
If you want to visit it all, you'll need a couple of days, or hire a bike.
We've visited here on a few occasions just because there is plenty to keep you busy, especially with kids.

Absolutely beautiful , more reasonable than other places but we have national trust membership so free entry, so many places to walk and the stables and chapel are beautiful , lovely in the summer can imagine it’ll only get busier. Great place for a dog walk and all the facilities are dog friendly too

Visited here as a family of 5 including two kids and a new puppy Chester! Entry was between £10-£15 for a family. Let's start with the obvious Clumber Park is beautiful, seriously beautiful and we went in February! It's massive and we didn't even manage to explore everything. But we walked some of the grounds and it was lovely! The play area was great for the kids you couldn't take the dog in but it didn't matter. They had some lovely gift shops including an old book store for used books. The dog friendly cafe we went to was small but had nice sausage rolls there was another one but we didn't get that far!! The dog was knackered after, so lovely and I will definitely be back and would recommend a visit!!

Lovely to walk around the lake, takes us about 1 hour with a cafe / toilet stop on the way near the Ford. Cafe is open outdoor trailer style with picnic benches that have increased in number since last year. Toilet block is behind the cafe and is well kept for public toilets.

Visited in the week so a little quieter for our nervous dog. Lots of parking but there is an entrance fee if you want to park in the main car park and are not National Trust members.
Went to Central Bark, a dog friendly cafe, for drinks and toasties which were really nice and explored the grounds, had shaun the sheep statues throughout the park which were worth looking at although they may not be there for ever. Lots to see and do, always worth a visit.

Easy to follow paths around the grpunds and lake.
Cafe next to the church and coffee stop at side of the lake selling drinks toasties and pies.
Plenty parking although it is on grass walking shoes or wellies advisable on wet winter days.

Probably the best country park in Nottinghamshire, plenty of walks, paths, a nice visitor centre with a big coffee shop , you have hot food too! My suggestion, a nice fruit scone with jam and clotted cream ! Being national trust site if not a member you have to pay 5£ per adult to get in, but it’s definitely worth it!
Cycle hire, shop, walled garden only to list aome of the things you will find there!

Wonderful park and land owned and maintained by the NT.
Great for walking or cycling, the park is vast so you can easily find somewhere off the beaten track.
Lots of places to park, a huge lake to walk around and plenty of places to grab some food.

Such a beautiful place to visit whatever the weather. We came on a lovely autumnal Sunday with two dogs to stretch our legs and enjoy some fresh air. Lots of different walking routes to take, and doesn't feel busy even though the car parks were busy. We went to the little food and drink hut near the gift shop and enjoyed the loveliest spiced cauliflower pasty and hot chocolate. The only down side is that there is not enough seating around the park for those of us who need a regular rest but enjoy walking

Great place for cycling and family day out. Blue and orange trails were easily found and very enjoyable. Very dog friendly. Only negative is the bike lock next to toilets isn't secure (the metal isn't secured to the ground!) So someone could easily lift up the frame and slide off the bikes.
