The Jungfrau mountain, standing at 13,642 feet and located in Switzerland, offers stunning views of the neighboring peaks Eiger and Monch. This alpine wonderland can be accessed through the Jungfrau Railway or by taking one of three different routes. Visitors to this well-established tourist attraction can enjoy a variety of activities including visiting an ice sculpture palace and chocolate shop. The Swiss Alps are widely regarded as a must-see destination due to their natural beauty and numerous attractions.
Where shall I begin? Ok I know a ton of people will say how expensive the tickets are, however it is so worth it. We are a family of 5 and could NOT pass up this opportunity. (So glad we didn’t.)
We originally had wanted to go for sledding, but changed our minds in the end. This is due to how tired we were alone with the trip to the top of the mountain. This was our first trip as a family on a mountain this high, and wanted to get the most from it. So we parked in Grimelwald Terminal and there were so many open spots. ( I downloaded the Jungfrau app and purchased our parking ticket there. If you type in your plate number, the guard will automatically let you in/out of the parking lot.)
We were pretty unsure about how to make it to the top (since instructions aren’t very clear on the site) however the customer service desk helped us out tremendously and spoke good English. We decided on the Eiger Express (gondola) and the train to make our way up. From there we planned out what we were going to do first and knew it needed to begin with the very top! I mean that’s what everyone comes for right?… So we went straight to the top, and then headed back down and did the different attractions. Our favorite was the ice palace, hands down.
There is a ton of walking so be prepared for that, and I made sure to have myself and my kids bundled up. Taking photos outside on the top of that mountain was definitely a priceless moment. We ate at the self serve restaurant and it was very basic food, but the views were magnificent and we enjoyed it. My best advice, buy your parking in advance and really map out what attractions you want to see. (Not every train, or gondola goes to the same spot, so we didn’t get to see some attractions for this reason. Many are on different routes.) I would also bring my own snacks and drinks. (A bottle of water was 6 dollars alone) Other than this, make sure your warm and simply have a great time.

It was an amazing experience from the train and aerial cable car to the breathtaking views. Be careful if you choose a tour that takes you up. The one I took rushed us so much we had a hard time enjoying the experience.

Great once in life time experience. Definitely worth experiencing top of Europe. Everything is perfect . We went from Interlaken ost to Lauterbren. Lauterbren to Grindelwald and from there Eiger express gandola to Eiger Gletscher. From there you will board the train ascending to Jungfraujoch.

This is one of the most spectacular places on Earth! You can see the greenery of the mountains, as well as the glaciers, it is breathtaking!! The ride up there is so relaxing and stunning. Be ready to warm up and take your sunscreen protection too, the sun burns but feels amazing to feel the cool breeze too and most of all, don't drop your camera or phone or you might not see it again lol ... It is a very high platform at the top of Europe. Enjoy it!! ✨️

Absolutely stunning and once in a lifetime view if you don't constantly live near huge mountains. So beautiful and the only reason it's not 5 stars is that it's so freaking expensive. But Switzerland in general is expensive compared to most other EU countries. 🤷♂️ Save up!

Scenic views of glaciers from Lauterbrunnen to the Top of Europe. Mount.jungfrajoch is one of the highest peaks in Switzerland. We took the train from Lauterbrunnen to Kleine Scheidegg Station. From there we changed the train to Jungfraujoch which is the highest railway station, took almost two hours to reach. First time travelled in a cog wheel train. Magnificent views of lush green villages, crystal clear rivers flowing besides the ways, forests filled with thick Alps trees, the Swiss cows with bells roaming and grazing in the fields. We can enjoy a lot of the beauty of nature in different moods (cloudy, foggy, rainy and sunny) all the way to the top. We already brought some snacks before the journey. In between the train stopped for five minutes at some viewpoints where we can enjoy the panoramic views.
Once we reach there the first attraction is Sphinx observatory deck goes through a fast elevator 108m in 25 seconds. After we walked inside through the Ice palace, Alpine sensation and Lindt chocolate factory. Outside we have done some snow park activities and watched the glacier plateau. Suggest the trip in summer July and August to get the clear views and feel a little warm weather. The railway ticket itself is a Souvenir as a Red Passport. A lovely unforgettable Swiss memory to the Top of Europe !.

One of the best experiences in my life. The views are insane. It's a quick ascent by train/cable car so you might feel a bit uneasy at the beginning. I recommend a walk to the shelter aeound snow fun park. A bit of walk and climbing but totally worth it.

Jungfraujoch is an highest alpine wonderland that is the top of Europe. It was around 174 CHF to get the high end Cable car and the passing through famous Red Train tickets to get reach on top of Europe. The Cable car seat is heated when you sit on them and I have never expected to reach such a high mountain peak in such a quick and easiest way. On the top it wasn't that cold on measuring equipment which was around -9.9 Celsius. Unfortunately that was feels like around -30 Celsius because of the wind, that I can only feel in winter times in my country. Even you will come across a plaque commemorating the area where the famous "Crash Landing on you" movie was filmed there.
It was very pleasant and interesting to see that much creation in this beautiful nature.
Thank you creative Switzerland

Just WOW!
A visit to Jungfraujoch was included in our independent tour and it was spectacular and helped by the weather, being a clear sunny day. Plenty of ice and snow, even in August and warm enough for t-shirts only.
Access was by train from Interlaken Ost to Grindelwald, the Eiger Express cable car to Eigergletschter station and then the Jungfrau railway to the top - 3500m. The cable car ride offers magnificent views over the countryside and the views from the top support the hype of being at the Top of Europe. Breathtaking.
Sure, there's plenty of people there, but you expect that and you adjust, so you don't miss any of the views. Be aware of the thin air up there.
Walk through the Ice Palace as well, to view the beautiful ice sculptures (but wear appropriate footwear as it can be very slippery). Try the 200m zipline onto ice and snow also - thrilling. However, to access the zipline, you have to climb a metal staircase on the side of the rock wall for about 100m.
Fortunately, there are landings every 30m or so, as you may require a rest just to suck in some air. Only 20CHF and worth every franc.
A beautiful day up there is perfect conditions, with the camera in overdrive.

We bought the early morning ticket, which comes with a small discount. Ended up avoiding major crowds of tourists and tour groups. It was a journey but well worth it. I would imagine in spring and summer it would be even more extraordinary, as not all of the venues were open (outside). It’s expensive, but well worth it. You can spend a lot of time here. You also see all the infrastructure that went into creating it, so the ticket price can be justified. They have restaurants and cafes along the way.

Best stops along Chur to Interlaken drive
The top stops along the way from Chur to Interlaken (with short detours) are Chapel Bridge, Titlis, and Mount Pilatus. Other popular stops include Jungfraujoch, Bernina Express, and Lake Lucerne.
Lünersee is a large alpine lake and popular destination for those who enjoy angling and hiking. The circular trail around the lake offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely walk. While some may find the area to be touristy, others appreciate the convenience of its accessibility. During winter months, snow shoes and trekking sticks are recommended as parts of the trail can be slippery.
What a gorgeous lake! Hiking around it is about 2 hours and it is a very relaxing and easy hike. If you start from the right side after getting off the lift, you will face a bit of uphill towards the end of the hike but nothing difficult. Pretty flowers you can enjoy all around the lake, mesmerizing incredible colors of the water, and diverse shapes of rocks you see all around. One of my favorite lakes in the region!

Its amazing place to visit. If you are going in winter, you must wear snow shoes and carry Trecking sticks for support. Some parts are really slippery and can not be climbed without accessories.

Unbelievably beautiful area. Can recommend factoring in more time for the walk than what the signs say as you will probably want to stop for pictures and taking in the views

Really beautiful!! About 2 hours walk around the lake. If you start from the left side, it is an ascent walk to a great view. Then it is mostly flat.

Such a beautiful lake. We hiked from the car park which was quite challenging and rocky, so make sure you have hiking shoes if you want to skip the cable car! The hike around the lake is beautiful and easy. 100% recommend if you are passing the area!
Note: it is quite chilly up here so make sure you have lots of layers!

Breathtaking lake surrounded by beautiful mountains! The circular trail around the lake is easy to walk. If you want to take the footpath to the lake, you need well-fitting hiking boots.

Spectacular lake at the top of the cable car. That day I saw it in thick fog as well as clear skies. You can see the mountain reflection when it is sunny. The trail around it is amazing especially the left circular route from the cable car

Place itself is amazing, BUT ! Avoid weekends definitely !!!! Because is insanely overcrowded, you will have problems to find parking spot, and expect to wait in a long long line more then 1 hour to buy ticket.
Once you are on the top ...you will enjoy it definitely

Magical trip up to Weisshorn. I recommend you to take the ca le car to middle station, see the bears and then continue up to weisshorn. It was a spectacular view. The cable cars departure every 10 min and the trip up is just a few minutes. Only downside is that the last cable car down was at 17.30.

The ride up and down was great although we were unfortunately at a time when some rain was moving in and didn't have much of a view. You do go by the bear habitat but even the weather wasn't good enough for them to come out and play. The Jägertee at the top was warming for the chill outside.

Stunning place, only 3 bears can be seen but nice experience. You can even go up to the top to bind a ribbon on the big 🐻 (plus 9chf). Well organized place, can be a family program.
The Bernina Express is a remarkable tourist attraction in Switzerland, boasting the highest railway in the Alps at 2253m altitude. This eight-hour scenic journey passes through breathtaking landscapes and over 196 bridges that offer stunning views of glaciers. The train is very popular, so it's recommended to book seats at least a month ahead of time, with bookings opening three months in advance. The new Stadler Trains provide exceptional comfort and quality for an even more enjoyable trip.
Chur - Tirano is a shall! Beautiful trip just amazing.
I love this new Stadler Trains, the driving comfort and the great quality makes every even nicer. Some of the views are breathtaking. I took the same trip now 2 weekend’s in a row because I loved it so much. I will share this with all my Swiss and international friends. Good Job RHB keep climbing

Simply spectacular train journey. Highly recommend for visitors and for the locals too.
Train staff is very friendly and helpful. We got complimentary chocolates and ice tea on the train as well.
I chose to give 4 stars due to the state of the toilets. If this is sorted, it would've been 5 stars surely!

Great visual experience. Try and get first class tickets as they have the glass ceilings making it easier to see the mountains. Amazing views along the journey and a good chief conductor who gave us insight into upcoming sights. Truly an amazing experience.

It would be 5 starts but the entree (chicken) wasn't very good and they spooned it out of a large terrine into your plate on a moving train, which caused sauce to get spattered on multiple guests. I'd say order from the a la carte menu that doesn't need to be planned in advance and skip the multi course meal. The train ride itself was stunningly beautiful.

Best train to board, you can see amazing view of swiss mountains, if you have swiss travel pass then you to reserve your seat, you will also get india food ( tomato dal and rice ) but its costly,
This train stop in couple of locations , those locations are really beautiful. Try it aleast once

If in the event it is not known, make sure you book your seat reservation way ahead of time since it is required to ride the train!!!! This review is strictly focused on the train portion of the Bernina Express, and not the bus ride. That deserves its own review.
The train begins at the central station in the city on platform #10. There is a sign for it by the stairs as you are walking towards it to let you know as well.
Once the train arrives, they have a couple of signs places by the doors to indicate which cart is which, and the inside they have their numbers for the seats by the windows. The employees are very helpful throughout the whole journey and, give you some info on the journey along the way as well. You can also sign in to their wifi, and listen to their guides in other languages too to continue with more information!
Beyond that, there is not much else that can be said other than just sit back, relax, and enjoy the sights along the way! Have a glass of wine while you're at it too!
Pro tip. Please be respectful of the other people on board, and try to keep conversations within a reasonable level, and maybe not use a selfie stick the whole time swinging it around like crazy.

A magical vacation in Switzerland. I’m happy we decided to add this to our itinerary. We spent over 7 hours of viewing bridges, tunnels, alps…
It was a bit confusing buying tickets online so we visited the station in person a day before. I’m happy we did that as we may have booked another route. Thanks to the guidance of polite staff, we were able to decide on our package.

A terrific and recommended experience. The trip over the Alps is constantly scenic. The train is comfortable. Service is terrific (although the food can be a bit expensive.) A relaxing and gorgeous way to enjoy the lovely Italian and Swiss scenery. Note: One must buy BOTH tickets for the train AND seat reservations.

Really great experience. I am just impressed by the engineering work behind. Just think about, that the construction started over 100 years ago. The service at the train is also just great. You can get some local snacks and wines. In the end of the trip, we got some Lindy hearts in a nice metal box in the Bernina train design. Really great price for the value you get.

Full disclosure: we took the regular trains, not the ones with the special cars with large, panoramic windows. The advantage we think is that it was less crowded, and one could open the windows to take better photos. Also, we could get off and back on as we wished. For example, we visited delightful Poschiavo. To each his own.

My wife and I heard many things about the Bernina Express from friends and other sources and we decided we wanted to experience it ourselves. We booked our trip a day before we were supposed to fly back home, at this point we were very tired but still wanted to check this off our bucket list and let me tell you it is definitely worth it. We started our trip from Tirano which is approximately a two hour drive from Milan and our end destination was St.Moritz. In the meantime we witnessed the beautiful landscapes that Italy and Switzerland had to offer and it was worth our time, money, and energy. On the way to Switzerland, we sat in first class and on the way back we sat second class. To be honest, I didn’t notice any big differences between the classes except for the type of quality of seats you sit in. Other than that everything else was amazing.

Purchased our reservation for two in December 2023 for our trip in March 2024. Right side of the train is definitely better in case you’re wondering, though it’s difficult to tell which side of the train is the front when you reserve your seats. Our journey began in the old town of Chur, Switzerland en route to Torino, Itsly. Outside of the train there were markers indicating the car number so be on the lookout as it is made quite clear, otherwise you may be standing in front of the wrong section. Plenty of luggage and baggage space at the front of each car and also between the seats (Swiss design and practicality on full display). Our experience began with an unpleasant tone as two European travellers attempted to steal our reserved seats and pretended like we were the wrongdoers. When asked for them to kindly move seats they asked which seats we reserved which were clearly the window seats with tickets to prove. Turns out these two had a return train (taking the same route on the same Bernina Express but in first class) so clearly they weren’t oblivious to the concept of reserved seating but that’s life.. some people try to take advantage of others in the most peculiar situations. As the journey commenced we were presented with views of the beautiful Swiss countryside. Green hills and mountains in the backdrop. Couple hours in we were in disbelief as we journeyed towards higher and higher elevation towards Grum Alp and close to a glacier town. The climate was vastly different and we entered a literal blizzard. How the trajn managed to get through this journey without a single hitch or delay left us in utter disbelief but again that’s that Swiss engineering on full display. Views were immaculate throughout the journey and the staff were also very friendly. Near the end of the trip they presented every passenger with a tin train souvenir in the shape of the Bernina Express filled with Lindt chocolate alongside a boxed herbal tea drink. Funny enough these are items you can purchase on the train worth a per passenger value of 15 francs each. Very generous! Overall we enjoyed the journey and spectacular views!

The ride over Albula and Bernina Pass is really breathtaking. For us four hours of train ride were okay, three would be perfect, but its like this. It's quite a long ride but because the nature is so beautiful, it's never getting boring. The only negative point is, that the seats are quite narrow and small. With long legs its a little difficult.

Probably the most beautiful trainride of Europe, and I traveled 100k km with trains so that must mean a lot.
Absolutely stunning and amazing views, catering on board is nice (but Swiss, expensive, prices) and all worth it.
I loved the Andermatt Pass, it's amazing to go through the snow on these hights!

Cant get a better location than this, at the side of a mountain overlooking some breathtaking Swiss countryside.
Was busy so took a while to get served, in fact i had to go up and order my own beer, which at first was refused, told to wait at table, but after trying a second time the waitress relented and gave the obviously thirsty traveller his requested refreshment, a cold beer. Thanks!
Not as impressive up close, as from the professional photos on the net, but still pretty damn cool

I didn't rent a room here, just passed by on our hike. The place itself is nice, service is also nice. However, if you want to sit down for more than 5 minutes without someone trying to passively push you out of your seat, then go over the week. Otherwise it is just sad, especially after a gruelling hike, one would like to sit there in peace.

Worth coming for the views, but the restaurant itself is overloaded and people are literally fighting for places. So if that’s a no for someone then better skip it. We also experienced quite unkind behavior from the waitress, I speak German my sister don’t so I am sorry for not being Swiss but I think it’s understandable what I speak, while she strongly suggested that I don’t and was tired of me and I only just arrive there and didn’t even order. I hope it was her bad day, maybe next time will be better. Food variety ok.

Even after a short hike from the cable car, this place is a perfect place to reward yourself and take in the incredible reality that you are dining inside of a cliff in the Alps. Everything was great; the food, service, atmosphere (although there was a strange amount of flies). The house made hazelnut croissant was incredible. When seeing something like that on a menu, you kind of jump to the conclusion of a Nutella filled croissant, which is already good at baseline, but you could tell these were made in house. Amazing, overall!

Absolutely fantastic hike up and experience sitting there just absorbing the view. Beer is good too, and the food is much better than one would expect at such a remote location. My daughter planned this, surprised me with the day trip...This was one of those things on my bucket list!

It's an experience to sit on the edge of a precipice overlooking massive cliffs rising up on the opposite side and have local delicacies along with a fruity refreshing drink - Bschorle. But for this there's a 20 min hike. The hike is short but steep, but the food and ambiance is worth more than all of it.

Iconic guesthouse in the mountains. There is a cable car to get here, alternatively one can hike here. There are some nice caves nearby. The restaurant is good to visit. I was recommended not to stay in the guesthouse for the night though.

One of the most unique places you will ever visit. It's no surprise it was featured on the front cover of the National Geographic! Stunning views, delicious drinks and lovely staff! Very reasonably priced given the location.

ICONIC. EPIC.
Oh my gosh, this took my breath away! No pictures can do it justice.
What an incredible experience from the woman who mans the cable car up - she is also incredulous after seeing it numerous times - to the hike here, to the friendly service, to the jaw dropping views as you have a coffee, beer and any one of the absolutely delicious meals.
I came for breakfast and it didn't disappoint.
It felt like a dream and the history of the place is incredible to read about on the front page of the menu!
Go! Just go! Also the hike back up to the cable car isn't flat. Just saying :-)

In Lech. Austria, Bernardo Bader Architects designed a natural-wood ski lodge with a café overlooking the peaks. A must-see on any trip to Switzerland, the Berggasthaus Aescher-Wildkirchli is located in Ebenalps of the Appenzell region. Known as being one of the most traditional cantons (Switzerland is made up of 26 member states called cantons) in Switzerland, Appenzell is known for it's rural landscape of old farmhouses set on beautiful rolling hills. After all that exploring, it's time for a hearty swiss meal at Berggasthaus Aescher. Even if you decide on only a drink, a snack or even dessert, it's an absolute must to stop and enjoy this one-of-a-kind restaurant during your visit to the Ebenalps. The restaurant features traditional fare from Appenzell including Rosti (hashbrowns) with cheese and delicious swiss sausages combined with a spectacular view of the valley below and mountains across the valley.
The cliff house restaurant and hotel, Berggasthaus Aescher-Wildkirchli, is a truly unique place and has recently been featured on many travel lists as a top destination to visit in Switzerland.
On a warm summer day, there is nothing better than a locally brewed Zitronen- Panache from Appenzeller Bier. It's a combination of local beer and lemonade and one taste will have you wishing this was available outside of 🇨🇭
Modern quarters in a casual 19th-century hotel offering free breakfast & entrance to a mineral spa.
Only eat at the restaurant. Very good food, enjoyed every course of the menu. Staff was very friendly and hospitality minded, when I asked the lady for an umbrella because of the rain she came with one of the hotel, perfect, brought it back the next day at the reception. And the guy who helped us, he is made for the hospitality industry, he knows how to deal with customers.

Unique property featuring immaculate mineral spa in a convenient and beautiful area. Rooms have been modernized quite well. Only down side is curiously restrictive internet policy (2 devices per room).

Good place to go skiing for a day from Zurich. The result is medium small-ish. But there's a good area for beginners with an easy wide blu slope. Most slopes are red. Usually gets crowded on weekends due to its vicinity to Zurich.

We were in a group on the bike trails at the weekend. Super great thing, simply brilliant. The only negative thing was that the ski lift operator had squeezed us so badly when we got off the bikes that it was borderline bad. As beginners on the trail/lift, we simply didn't know how it worked exactly and how we had to get off the lift at the very beginning.
Despite everything, a great experience...

Hallo Heidiland Tourismus / Bike Trail

This morning I experienced the best anti-advertising from your Unterterzen cable car
To the case; Shortly before 10 a.m. I bought a day ticket for my daughter (10 years old) and myself, at the very high price of FR. 110.-- But I immediately noticed how your employee had refused a free trip to Tannenboden to two chauffeurs who had recently brought 90 people. Incomprehensible and incomprehensible. Calculate 90 x FR day ticket. 67.- and such a reaction. There is still a lot of potential and this first impression is very impressive.

The tourist attraction SEA LIFE Konstanz is a place where different kinds of aquatic animals from around the world are housed in five pools. These pools simulate their natural habitats, giving visitors an opportunity to see some of the top creatures in the world up close.
Great place with small kids. Lot of interactive toys, and places to crawl into. I really enjoyed the area with the penguins. It's well done. Also nicely done the area with the local fishes, it helps the kids to see what is there in the lake. Unfortunately some toys were not available due to Covid regulations.
But altogether great place to spend a couple of hours.

They have limited collection of fishes, but what ever they have they maintaining it really well.
It won’t take more than 1-2 hours to cover the whole place. Ticket price is too high and this place doesn’t worth the ticket cost.

Always worth a visit. Plan about 2 hours to see all exhibitions. There is a water tunnel to see sharks and giant turtles. Parking available at the Lago.

It was actually much better than I had hoped. Neither sharks nor penguins fit to what I imagine lives in Bodensee. 🙂
However both children enjoyed it, not only aquariums but also the interactive part. And it was not boring to me either.

Upstairs there is also an exhibition of stuffed wild animals, beautifully arranged and with a detailed description. A bit exaggerated ticket prices which will be purchased online. The parking was somewhere at 4E for four hours inside the complex. I was also in the summer in the port area, absolutely gorgeous, full of tourists but now in the winter a bit too quiet.

The place has good access to public transport. Friendly staff. worth visiting if you love the underwater world. People spend 2-3 hour depending on average.
Preethi — Google review
Overall I enjoyed my visit, but there were a couple inconveniences that don't let me give it 5 stars.
I know maintaining such a place is a massive undertaking, but 20€ feels expensive. Had it been cheaper, I would visit it again sometime.
The underwater tunnel wasn't optimally maintained, the glass is very, very scratched, and some parts had a layer of dirt/dust.
The penguins were acting strange, stuck to the display glass. I felt sad for them, it was an anomalous behavior, and made obvious that they don't belong there.
On the good side, it was nicely decorated. The nature museum was a bit underwhelming, but I felt the passion put into the still animals, interacting with each other and their environment. Explore it thoroughly, my favorite part of it was hidden!
It took me slightly less than 1h30min to visit it alone. If you can afford it, I'd recommend checking it out at least once.
David Toro Mart?nez — Google review

N K — Google review
Went with husband and 2 kids (4 and 2 years old), we were excited as it just reopened 2 days ago. However the fish on display are limited and within 45 minutes you are at the exit. Expected a bigger variety for the prices (60 Euros for the family) they charge.
Eva Yanambakam — Google review
This is one of the better Sea life parks. You will need to purchase tickets online and reserve a time slot. The slot can be moved up to five times, which we had to do, since our connection was late.
The experience was great - kids loved all the large aquariums and these fishes.
The location is very convenient if you arrive via ship in the harbour - just a short walk across.
Be aware that the ferry harbor is far outside and you will need to take the bus.
Guido Oswald — Google review
Its a very entertaining place for all age groups. I got to rxperience a huge variety of sea creatures from upfront. Small sharks to huge stingrays, it was really reasly good. The brst part of sealife was the penguins, its so beauuuutiful to see them upfront. I loved every bit of it.
Dee K — Google review
The experience overall was underwhelming. Although the queue was short and the staff were nice, it felt very unorganized and messy.
Too many people and not enough space/staff to organize. The aquarium praises itself with a big variety of animals, but you won’t need more than 45 minutes to look at everything😬.
Only interesting for young children.
Additionally the animals didn’t seem to have a lot of space and seemed distressed by the huge amount of people.
Would not recommend; too overpriced and not well maintained.

Whether you're a marine biology enthusiast or a family looking for an educational outing, this harbor provides a harmonious blend of entertainment and enlightenment. Jonathan Kigozi — Google review
It's much smaller in the inside than it looks from the outside. There are aquarium sets I really liked, such as the sunken ship but it is quite a short visit and for the efty price, it's definitely not a good quality/price ratio. There are much nicer, bigger, modern aquariums which are cheaper. I understand its situation probably doesn't make it ideal but this place cannot compete with other aquariums I've visited. Simple.

I paid 22€ for only 20 mins.
If the price is 11€, it's fair enough.
Konstanz Port is a remarkable site that provides visitors with the opportunity to explore both tranquil and exciting experiences. With serene spaces to unwind while admiring the stunning view, coffee shops for a hot beverage, and restaurants for a peaceful meal, there is something for everyone. The old lake port is fascinating, particularly its unique solution to cope with water level changes. Although lacking a high-quality cafe to appreciate the scenery comfortably, it's an excellent place for leisurely sightseeing.

Enjoyable Skiing Experience at Laax
Laax is a truly beautiful ski resort with a lot to offer. It boasts fantastic facilities including a great fun park, a well-designed pro park, and a beginner-friendly park. For convenience, there are tow lifts at two smaller parks, while the larger P60 park features a chairlift and a small lift after the halfpipe.
The pistes on the glacier are simply stunning and are meticulously groomed. However, the weather can change rapidly, and occasionally skiers may find themselves in a cloud, limiting visibility. But when the weather is clear, it's truly a dream come true.
Compared to Austria, Laax tends to be less crowded, providing a more relaxed atmosphere for skiing. In terms of pricing, a ski pass costs around 110 Swiss francs, as the ski card needs to be purchased and there's no deposit refund since the card cannot be returned. For those with a lift ticket, a day on the slopes costs approximately 100 francs per day, If you don't buy a weekly or seasonal tariff.
Access to the mountain is convenient, with three valley stations providing access to the Galaaaxy mainstation.
Overall, Laax offers an enjoyable skiing experience with a variety of slopes and amenities to suit skiers of all levels.
Laax also offers the convenience of its own app, making it easier for visitors to access information about the resort, including lift status, weather updates, trail maps, and even real-time updates on events and activities happening in the area. This handy tool adds an extra layer of convenience to the overall skiing experience at Laax, ensuring visitors can make the most out of their time on the mountain.

VERY expensive!
The food in Laax and Flims is overly expensive.
They charge for normal food literally usury prices.
The slopes are excellent in terms of level and you can easily cross the whole area.
We stayed at the Rocket resort. Great accommodation and close to the elevator up.
The elevators are modern and well equipped. What you might also expect from the prices.
During our stay we did experience every kind of weather condition. We had days of kaiserwetter, perfect for lunch outside. However, we also experienced horror days with strong winds with heavy snow showers and dense fog.
Temperature was 2 to 5 degrees Celsius on a sunny day. On a cloudy day -10 to -20 degrees Celsius.
Conclusion: nice area, but expensive.

As a Colorado (U.S.) native, I'm not going to say that the skiing/ snowboarding was great (very packed, icy terrain & thats why I say 4 stars) 😅 but the views more than made up for that. We also just happened to go the weekend of the final smowboarding qualifier for the '22 Olympics, so the atmosphere was AWESOME! I'm not sure if it was a special occasion or its always a party, but the building at the top of the mountain was such a DOPE vibe with a DJ and absolutely amazing sound system 🙌 The weather just happen to be very warm & sunny, so our favorite part was drinking a beer and listening to great music, soaking up sunshine & enjoying the breathtaking views. It was the best part of our Switzerland 🥰. I can honestly say that we'd come back to Laax if we get another chance to visit 🇨🇭
P.S. This resort was recommended to us by a friend of ours who's a German native. He says he usually snowboards in Austria, but if he were to be on Switzerland, he would choose Laax.🤷🏼♀️ Hope that helps!

Went there for ski. If the weather is good it is really nice. The slopes are usually in good condition, with few exceptions. The only downside is the high price of the daily ski pass, compared with other areals. But the services are rather good.

Small resort with one stop services in main drop off cable car station. Themed with movie and films interior decor. View is amazing during our visit where sunshine is abundant. Would suggest for more experienced skiiers compared to novices. Main entrance is humble and nested amidst the small boutique hotels. Will be great if they can have clear directions from main road so that first timers can find way easily.
Jz L — Google review
Great place for ski, although a lot of flat parts which is can be annoying for snowboarders.
Breathtaking viewes, good slopes preparation, snow cannons are in operation.
Second half of season n February-March gives nice opportunities for free ride and a lot of off-piste routes, earlier snow coverage is not enough.
Only disappointment - you can buy ticket only online where only two payment types are accepted - wish that they enable PayPal and other wide-spread options (limitation due to corona, last year it was possible to buy ticket at place)
Natalia Kuznetsova — Google review
Bad value for money, I am actually surprised that it has so many good reviews! If you love free riding and love snow parks, then ignore my review, but if you are simply looking for a nice variety of prepared pistes for a ski holiday, this is for you. It is extremely pricey for what it offers:
- long queues (I was there mid March!)
- pistes not well prepared
- inconsistent marking of the pistes: you either need to walk on very flat blue runs or some blue runs are even steeper and more difficult than reds (?)
-it takes a long long time to go from one side of the resort to another (long queues plus old infrastructure)
- the Vorab gondola is so old that every time I took it George Michael would appear in my mind and start signing "Last Christmas", this is how old that gondola feels (from 1978 to be exact).
- Dynamic prices are very opaque
For approx. 100CHF a day pass I would expect much much better - would not complain if the forfait would be cheaper/reasonable.
Here are the few nice things:
- Landscape is extremely beautiful. Would love to come back in summer for hiking
- App is fantastic, they are at the forefront in this sense - you can order food, tickets, everything.
- The LAAX resort (Rocksresort, Restaurants, etc) is very well organized, practical and nice - just be aware that the whole resort caters an international audience so it is not very typical Swiss.
Overall, I think LAAX might only make sense if you travel from abroad so you want close to the airport, where you can communicate in English and look for a Après-Ski vibe - however, there are so many more nicer resorts in Switzerland that I can only understand its hype to the excellent marketing efforts of the LAAX team. A tourist trap in my opinion.

This is a review of the 5 star hotel across 2 stays in 2020 and 2022.
Service:
I requested a transfer from another local hotel and this was the perfect way to get to 7132. It came within a short period of time and spared me the walk up to the hotel with ski equipment. The chauffeur also helped me store my equipment in their ski room so my boots would dry properly. This short distance transfer was included as part of my room charge, which was a complete surprise to me.
Breakfast extras are included (egg dishes, pancakes, etc.), where they are not in the House of Architects. I recommend trying out the breakfast muffin.
I forgot an item in the room and they quickly packaged it up and shipped it to my home in Switzerland. This was an above-and-beyond service to me because they emailed me back within minutes of asking them about the item.
Lastly, I have used the room service for before-dinner drinks. They surprised me with a small snack and dip that was more than I expected for a gratis apero snack.
Single Room: Excellent size for 1 person with a giant king size bed. Heard nothing the entire stay except some minor noise from the hallway in the morning from the breakfast cart which unfortunately woke me, however I'm a light sleeper at higher altitude. I think the shower could use someplace to hold bottles so I don't have to store them on the floor. Finally, I was really happy with the excellent view from this room and woke up to a great view of the mountains.
Penthouse Suite: We got lucky and were able to use a suite for one evening as part of an ongoing promotion. It is one of 3 private apartments overlooking the thermal bath and the mountains across the valley. Privacy is assured with full blackout curtains. Uniquely there is a soaking tub facing the windows, large enough for 2 people. Also unique to Switzerland is a top-of-the-line toto toilet that is completely self-cleaning and features washlet & heated seat. These rooms were extremely quiet. Highly recommended if you can afford it or gain access to this room through a promotion.
Both rooms featured fresh flowers.

Receptionists, Spa staffs were ver professional and I liked a lot!
However. unfortunately not 5star hotel standard. nice concept, but seems like not completely finished the renovation. Restaurant Red service was quite uncomfortable. Many guests were couples and still they serve Super onion smelly gazpacho as amuse bouche. Did they do on purpose…? They didn’t offer wine menu, and they charged 18francs per a local red wine which is less than 50francs a bottle. 12francs for Limoncello per glass which tasted like a soap… I didn’t have chance to give comments nor get them changed since the staff rarely came back since they finish serving us.
The breakfast option is poor unfortunately. It’s ok not having enough staffs, or still training. But then they should think of how to compensate.
I was expecting much more, and really looked forward to my stay. so it turned out very disappointing…Hope they will change for better soon🙏🏽

What a spectacular place - inside and out! Definitely one of the best 5* hotels in Switzerland!
We enjoyed very much our stay at the 7132 hotel in Vals, located in a cozy and authentic Swiss mountain village not too far from Zurich and easy accessible by car. The hotel has a nice interior design, contemporary and elegant at the same time, with a special Swiss touch. We felt very welcome when we entered the hotel and the reception is placed in a discrete corner, so you kind of feel like entering a huge mansion.
The employees were professional and helpful at all times and are also open for a little chat. We had a spa deluxe room in the main building! The rooms are very modern and offer everything you need, and much more. The huge balcony with a village and mountain view is spectacular and the shower can be also used as a steam bath. The eye-catcher was definitely the round bath tube in the middle of the room. Don’t miss to go to the thermal bath, just a few stories down – you will enter to a masterpiece of architecture.
The highlight was definitely the midnight swim the hotel offers to its guests on selected days of the week. To eat you have various choices; from delicious pizzas to culinary delights created by Head Chef Mitja Pirlo. We enjoyed very much the delicious breakfast the following morning (I highly recommend to try the egg Florentine) with fresh bred from the hotel’s own bakery. Just yummieeeee!!!
One night is definitely not enough and we will be back again to enjoy this exclusive 5-star hotel and Vals to the fullest.

Tried the course meal with wine pairing last year. Although the food is tasty and technically well done, it feels somehwat too pretentious at times (a shot of carbonized water, really?). The localness of the ingredients is highlighted in certain dishes just to be completely overthrown in the next dish by an Asian course. Lacking the red line I experienced with other fine-dining restaurants. The wine pairing is just not worth the buck in my opinion - some very ordinary wines.

Me and my girlfriend went there in mid-December and there was not much people, which is was very appreciated.
The snow was fresh of a couple of days, so we could enjoy a very nice view from the out-door pool.
The facility itself is great, but maybe not as fancy as it is advertised: it did not feel special.
Recommended if you are at the hotel or if you are already in Vals and you want to spend 4 hours relaxing.
Not worth it if you go there from far away (Zürich)

My husband and I chose to celebrate our anniversary in 7132 hotel. This hotel was an ideal place for us especially because I'm an architect and from an architectural point of view, I've been attracted to the 7132 hotel for a long time.
The offer which I chose is published on hotel website as "once in a lifetime" included a complete package of several things such as breakfast, dinner, accommodation for two nights in the Penthouse, a helicopter stop on the glacier, etc. The complete package was for two people for a certain price.
We have ordered all the activities provided by this package, knowing that we will pay the price at which it is stated.
When we paid our bill, we found out that the bill was eventually much higher than advertised.
At the reception they told us that we did not order our stay in hotel as a "once in a lifetime" package, despite the fact that everything in the package contained our order. Even after long speculation and documenting emails with communication, they left us the price exorbitant and not at the price at which they offer this package. The answer from receptionist, and both of the managers was same - we understand, but we can not do anything about it. Very disappointing for 5 star hotel expectation and treatment. We felt completely robbed.
The hotel and especially the spa is really beautiful, the staff will do everything for you. That is, until you have your bill issued. If you visit the hotel, I recommend that you have all the items in your account written in advance before you go.

Here is my review which is mixed. The thermal bath experience was incredible as I imagined it would be. The hotel was a disappointment. I have been to a lot of 5 star hotels and quite frankly 7132 does not deserve this rating. While some staff were welcoming many others were very rude which is unacceptable. The hotel room (Ando) was very impressive. However the decor and vibe of common areas of the hotel were subpar at best. The decor was semi dated and not at all in harmony with the beauty of the surrounding landscape at all which was a giant mistake and missed opportunity. My experience at the treatment spa made me feel extremely taken advantage of. Please do not charge over $125 for a manicure (no polish) that took place in an actual a supply closet. I was so angry about absurdity that it pretty much ruined one day. We needed a 9 minute ride at one point and were told that would cost $70 there and $70 back which was absolutely ridiculous and insulting. A total money grab that made me feel taken advantage of again. Lastly the hotel refused to serve coffee until 7:30 and no coffee maker was available in room or anywhere. Ridiculous and not worthy of 4 stars much less 5. Like I said the thermal bath experience was incredible but sadly the hotel was terribly disappointing to say the least.

The staff at 7132 are also fantastic, most recently I was impressed by Hannalore on the spa reception who was extremely helpful and gave me great recommendations on products. Even when she was under pressure due to one of the therapists calling in sick she dealt professionally with grumpy a customer that was complaining about their treatment getting moved and she did everything she could to try and fit me in with a different therapist.
The only reason I don't give a five is because of the main restaurant and the bar. I really would love to see an update to the menu that includes some modern takes on Swiss classics. It is also too expensive - 26chf for two spoons of guacamole and some crackers is daylight robbery!! Finally, the cocktails at the bar are not acceptable - I really think the 7132 team should consider getting a dedicated bar tender who is trained to mix drinks well and choose good spirits.
Overall 7132 is an incredible place to stay and we will definitely be back! The staff and the architecture are the stars!
Steep river gorge with a panoramic road & railway outfitted with dramatic bridges & tunnels.
Historic site with several attractions like Devil’s Bridge, Suvorow bar, Russian monument. Great views, close to Andermatt, easy hiking.
Steffen Stoewer — Google review
This bridge is about 20 minutes away from the train station in Andermatt. You will have to cross a tunnel (short one though) to reach the bridge...and it is fantastic! There is also a Monument (Suworow) very close to the bridge. The people into rock climbing also have the chance to do so in the area. Pristine waters, nature and high mountains make it an awesome place to visit!

Very nice hike that is easy to get to from Andermatt. We walked down the path to the pretty bridge at the bottom (all downhill). Then walked back up and then cut into the tunnels to check out the other side of the river. It’s cool to watch the people doing the via Ferrata (near the start of the trail). Easy-ish hike/walk and very pretty scenery.

(Translated by Google) A super nice easy walk both up and down. A path has been created and allows you to walk in complete safety (in relation to traffic) on the roof of the tunnel and avalanche protection. We made it on a Saturday with a friend. 1h15 from Göschenen to Andermatt. Don't hesitate, but the weather really has to be nice.

The Rigi mountain boasts stunning scenic views of the surrounding lakes and is renowned for activities like skiing, sledding, and hiking. It offers a panoramic view of the Swiss Alps and can be accessed via the Golden Round Trip. Visitors to Lucerne should not miss exploring its charismatic old town or visiting the Victorianox Museum to personalize their own Swiss Army Knife.
This mountain is easy to climb. Has good paths to go on and those views are stunning. At top is beautiful and you got nice view over the Alps but it is very touristic as trains come there also. But let it not stop you from walking much more fun and more to see. 1806 meters. Don't forget it's cold at the top or may rain 😉.

A truly beautiful mountain! Tram travel is included if you have the Swiss Travel Pass - we'd recommend sitting on the left side going up the mountain for the best views.

Queen of the mountains. Different sides to go up, but worth it. You can ski and hike here. Views are amazing. One side shows the alps and the other the Swiss plateau. Cities like Zurich, Lucern and Zug can all be seen.

Amazing experience. This mountain is included in the Swiss travel pass. Close to Lucerne, can also be easily done as a day trip from Zurich. Has great views different from Titlis, Jungfrau and Matterhorn. Would suggest to take the cog wheel train one way, and the cable car and boat the other way to experience the different views. View from cable car is amazing.

Less touristy and great views.
It’s also included in your Swiss pass and saver day pass without any extra fees for excursions.
Make sure you check the weather on the top before you go.

We really enjoyed Rigi. It was very easy to get to the top, minimal effort on the cogwheel train. Fantastic views 360 degrees. The day we went was quite sunny so we were able to capture its true essence. Great for families as well, use the elevator at the hotel if you have a stroller, it really helps! You need to walk all the way up to get the the stunning views.

Worthy place to spend. No crowd and I should say it’s an under rated place in Switzerland.
Very amazing views and great place to visit. A restaurant is located in the top and slightly overpriced.
Its free admission for Swiss pass holders
Don’t miss the cogwheel train & cable car routes. It’s much accessible to ferries too..

Very beautiful place to enjoy Swiss alps view, the lakes around Lucerne and all around it.
A must visit detour if you ar ein Lucerne
You get a ferry to Vitznou from Lucerne and get the cogwheel train to go all the way up. While returning you can get a gondola(ropeway) to enjoy nice view again
At the top, there are breathtaking views and there is also a restaurant to chill

Easy access mountain with plenty of hiking trails all around for all levels. The panorama trail well worth a try.

Absolutely stunning! I recomend bringing warm clothes even in the summer and checking the weather in advance to see if the visibility is high so that you don’t spend a lot of money to see only clouds. I also think the tickets to visit are a bit too expensive for what is offered. However, it was truly a stunning place to visit, completely worth it. I also recomend exploring other peeks around the top of the Rigi because the views are truly breathtaking! We chose to climb up to one of the peeks that are near the first train stop after the Rigi, it was a harder climb, but totally worth it!

It must be visited when it’s nice weather. There are a lot of ways how to reach the top and even if you don’t wanna walk up by foot you can get a train and comfortable ride to the top.
I guess, sunrises or sunsets might be amazing for watching in summer days 🏔️🌇🌆

A definite must visit during winter or spring as you get to take a boat ride on lake Lucerne with picturesque views, followed by a cogwheel ride up. Lots of photo opportunities above and you can take hikes down depending on your fitness. There’s some restaurants above as well.

Just WoW. The best option is to take the cogwheel train from Vitznau. The views are mesmerizing. On the cogwheel train from Vitznau take the left hand seats for best views.

Came here in December and the views are truly amazing. I recommend taking the cogwheel up to Rigi Kulm and then walk down the mountain to experience the drastic change of scenery, from a snowy mountain to snow intertwining green grass to big grass field.
You can also try sledging or skiing here if you like. You can rent the sledge at the store just beside Rigi Kulm.

Mount Rigi is an absolutely stunning place to visit on a beautiful winter's day. The clear blue sky & bright sunshine create a magical atmosphere, making the snow-covered landscape sparkle & shine. The views from the top of the mountain are simply breathtaking, with the surrounding alpine peaks glistening in the sunshine. Mount Rigi is a perfect destination for experiencing the beauty of nature in its winter wonderland. It's an unforgettable experience that's sure to leave a lasting impression.

Gorgeous view on the top. On one side, it’s alpine meadow, with the white peaks of the Alps as the background; one the other side, it’s Switzerland’s endless plain with towns and lakes. Definitely worth a visit (The transportation from Lucerne to the top of Rigi is totally included in the Swiss Travel Pass).

Phenomenal!!! The views are out of this world! It’s like you’re in a dream! It is really the queen of mountains! There are many hiking trails there. Both short and long ones. I hiked down the mountain to get to a cheese factory in the heart of the mountain and bought some local cheese and one beer for thr road 😄.
Amazing experience! Try going both by the cogwheel and the cable car.
A popular destination for tourists, Lake Lucerne is the fourth-largest lake in Switzerland and offers boat trips with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The well-preserved old town situated right on the lake adds to its allure, making it a must-visit place for alpine scenery enthusiasts. To fully explore this compact city, it's recommended to spend a whole day on foot. The train station located in the city center provides easy access to all parts of Lucerne via public transport.
Passed by around this lake to prepare Boat to Mountain Pilatus, everything was good, but unfortunately the cable car isnot working that day

This lake and this area in general, is very scenic and relaxing. The water was placid and tranquil as well. It offers nice views of the surrounding city of Luzern and it's mountains. I recommend taking a boat tour of the lake. It is an hour long with one stop round trip. Definitely worth seeing and pretty hard to avoid if you visit Luzern.
Phillip Soto — Google review
It is stunning, with a backdrop of mountains and punctuated by little towns, villages and settlements along the coastline. The water is pristine and often changes colour.
Better still, if you're heading to the Gotthard Panorama Express, catch the paddle steamer all the way to Fluelen, a trip of about 2.75 hours and the scenery just gets better and better (have your camera ready). If that is what you are doing, then you can book your luggage through to the train at the departure point in Luzern, so you don't have to worry about carrying it on board.
Narender Kumar — Google review
Best place to be visited during all season. Super combination of mountains along with lakes and also boat rides makes it complete package.
Debjit Ghosh — Google review
Sailed from Lucerne to Flüelen on the Uri, Europe's oldest paddle steamer. The 100 year old boat is in the best possible conditions and offers all amenities with a flair of the grand old times. The panoramic boat ride lasts around 2:45 h, in early October there was a fresh breeze so bring warm cloth if you plan to stay outside. The upper deck is beautifully sunny, but other areas more wind protected. The morning fog soon lifted and views opened, so don't be deterred if the morning looks gloomy. The restaurant serves food and drink, but nobody minds if you bring your own either. Indoors there are information panels and one can watch the steam engine in full action. It looks as shiny and new as it started operations yesterday, not 100 years ago.

Lake Lucerne is surrounded by beautiful mountains, picturesque villages and the Old town which makes the cruise through the lake an enjoyable experience.
We took the boat from Luzern Bahnhofquai to Kehrsiten - Burgenstock and back which took around an hour.
The trip was very relaxing. You can immerse yourself in the calmness of lake Lucerne and enjoy the sights of the floating swans, the majestic snow covered mountains, the green meadows with village houses popping up and the regal structures of the Old town.

Lake Lucerne is a lake in central Switzerland and the fourth largest in the country.Several spa and bathing resorts such as Weggis or Gersau are available here,Different sports are possible in some separate areas due to the water and wind conditions. We took the train from Zurich to Lucerne. It was a beautiful summer day, and I was wearing my favorite cotton high-top shoes. From Lucerne, we boarded a boat that crossed the lake toward Alpnachstad station. From there, we would take the train up the mountain to the top. Lake Lucerne shimmered in the bright sunlight as we sliced through the crystalline waves. While I twisted in my seat to get a better look at the landscape, I shifted my feet, turning them left, then right. My ankles were sore, but I couldn’t figure out why.

I'll never travel to Interlaken without this trip planner again
Titlis is a renowned mountain peak that boasts of various attractions including the world's first cable car, skiing area, suspension bridge, and glacier caves. Although it can only be accessed by car, it provides a cheaper alternative to Pilatus or Tiltis especially for those without the Swiss Travel Pass. Visitors can take advantage of the CHF13 two-way lift or CHF10 one-way offer to explore this beautiful attraction from 9:30 AM to 6 PM.
This was my third visit to Switzerland, but the very first to Mt. Titlis.
In one word this was the most amazing experience from our 8 day Swiss tour.
Best to visit Mt. Titlis is from Lucerne, as it is only around 30-45 min drive from there.
When reaching Engelberg there're several big parking lots, with a flat day fee of 10 CHF. From here the adventure starts.
You change two cable cars to reach the summit at 3.000 meters. The second rotating cable car is a masterpiece.
Once up you think you're on top of the world - unseen beauty of Alpine peaks all around you from the viewing terrace.
Two outstanding attractions are included in your entry ticket - the Glacier cave walk in an ice tunnel and terrific suspended bridge walk outside.
Make sure to visit the Trubsee middle cable car station, as there's a beautiful walk around the lake. You can do it on your way up or down with the same ticket.
Count on around 3-4 hrs for a proper visit without transport time from your location.
TIPS:
1. Buy your ticket online via Getyourguide - they were around 20% cheaper than on the official site and at the counter.
2. Doublecheck the weather before you go, if it's cloudy there's hardly no point going

I had the time of my life here. Located at 10,500 feet above the sea level, it's one of the most sought after tourist destination in Switzerland. Take a train ride to Engelberg and then continue with the cable car rides. In the end enjoy the slow rotating Gondola. The mountains are covered in snow and make for an amazing view.
People who enjoy skiing can do ski here. The famous movie ddlj posters are also here. And of course a walk to the highest suspension bridge is an awesome experience.

Beautiful mountain with spectacular views. The ride to the top of the mountain is amazing ! There are 2 types of cable cars. First one is normal with 6-8 person capacity. Second one is a big one and is a revolving cable Car which gives everyone a 360 degree panoramic view of the mountains. There is also an additional open cable Car which is super fun there are several activities at the top to do and visit. Ice caves, skywalk bridge, open cable Car etc. There are restaurants at the top which serve variety of food from Indian to European. The ticket of the cable car up and down is 96 CHF and can be bought at the counter below. Summer season is usually crowded. There are plenty of car and bus parking spaces available at the foot of the mountain. Must visit !!

A good experience. DDLJ shot here. Go for the views. The minimum temperature is -23 degree celsius during winters. Be sure to check weather forecast as trolleys could be closed if snowfall is there.

One of the best activities for the family during summer. Titlis is a very interesting place where the snow covers the mountain, everyone is playing with the snow while temperatures are reasonably low..
Waiting ques is long and can take up to 1 hour...
Again, you will face another que at the cable cars especially if you are late..
I prefer to purchase tickets in advance..
Parking lot is available and you have to pay...
Usually, it will take you 2 to 3 hours to have a proper visit... Other people take 2 days instead of one especially when you do hiking....
Opens from 9 am till 5 pm...
I would say it's cheaper than top of Europe....
Best to go there before mid June as these years temperatures are going high during summer..

Via fennicular or by cable car. Fennicular may not drop you to the top, while via cable car, you can easily visit top through different levels.
84 Euros or 100 USD ticket can be used at cable cars, roatator, and Galacier cave as well.
There are multiple cafes at different levels of mount Titlis.

Mount Titlis is also one of the scenic spots in the Alps, with an altitude of more than 3,000 meters. Cable cars are mainly used as transportation.
Although they are all cable cars, they are different in space. The latest cable car is the first in the world, it can accommodate 80 people, and it rotates 360 degrees. All the beautiful scenery can be seen from all angles. It does not take much time to climb to the top and enjoy the amazing views.

The cable car up is a bit pricey but definitely worth it. We got there for the first ride up in the morning and definitely recommend doing that to get the place to yourself. I am scared of heights and it helped so much to be able to do the cliff walk at my own pace with no one else around.
Also make sure to check out the glacier tunnel while you are here. There is a free lounge where you can sit and eat your own food so pack a picnic and save a bit of money up the top (food options are limited and $$$)

Cliff Walk is a must go place when you visited Titlis. It is the highest suspension bridge in Europe & it's completely free.
The bridge was a bit more "shaking" than we expected, but we felt it's totally safe due to the high fences on both sides. The view of the Swiss Alps is amazing - but it also depends on the weather too. (It closes during bad weather days anyway) The best view is towards the end of the bridge where there's no high fences & the scenery in front is breathtaking!
I have height phobia but I felt completely fine up there (felt great actually)
Highly Recommended!

We didn't ski, we paid for the cars up to Titlis and visited the cliff walk, the flyer and also went snow tubing . Very well organised and worth a visit.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! Even in the depths of winter with part of the route closed it was amazing to cross the bridge and just to see the views, properly epic!

Titlis Cliff Walk, located in the Swiss Alps, is Europe's highest suspension bridge. It stretches 100 meters, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers, with an altitude of 3,041 meters. The view from above the bridge is so incredibly beautiful.

Amazing! The views were stunning, the walk was awesome, short but not too scary and the ice cave was nice and lit up. Get some ice cream from level 3- the best ice cream I've eaten in a long time.
Overall a wonderful experience. I'm so glad I made the train ride out.
Large, dramatic waterfall cascading down a wide rock face in a scenic, serene valley.
Impressive waterfall and the surrounding plateau enclosed in a circle of peaks and ridges. Very suggestive when covered in snow. Lendas itself to hiking and alpine skiing, as well as leisurely times. Easily reached by car which makes it toddlers and elderly friendly as a bonus. Worth the visit and a go at the Restaurant 'Le Alpi' that offers a variety of very good local foods and a superlative 'fil de fer', a piedmontese answer to eggnog, warm and topped with whipped-cream.

An old trade route and wow this must have been a popular stopping point for hundreds of years. I love the way there is a jetti that allows you to feel extra close to this dramatic waterfall. the valley leading up to it has many waterfalls, more if rained. I reccomend a visit. it's up a long dead end road from beneco. but there are places to stay and great walking at good altitude after the dam and mountain hut.

The Lion Monument is a significant tourist attraction in Lucerne, Switzerland. It depicts a lion carved out of natural sandstone rock, which appears to be dying from being impaled by a broken spear. The monument was built to honor Swiss mercenaries who lost their lives while defending King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette during the attack on Tuileries Palace in 1792.
This Monument is a must visit when in Lucerne. There is a nice Cafe there to grab a drink or small meal as well. A quick place to visit.

We were going through the centre of Luzern one day evening. And it was magical. Some parts of town has fairy-tale atmosphere, like these on the pics. On the first one is statue, on the second one toilets next to the statue and on the last one is café situated just in front of the statue area. I wish everyone enjoy the attractive place.

Gorgeous monument sculpted directly in the rock. If you're lucky to go in the afternoon, when the sunshines hit the sculpture it gives more depth to the art. We sat on a bench for several minutes to appreciate its beauty. Free entrance.

We visited this iconic location and didn't make enough time to see all of the adjacent sites. There's so much more to see here, the lion is massive and amazing, Google translate comes in handy too when reading its descriptions. Great spot for site seeing, food, and shopping for souvenirs.

A beautiful, serene, quiet park and incredible Monument. Very moving, and worth the visit. City wifi works just outside the park walls, but not in it. An easy walk from here down to the waterfront and right beside the glacier park attraction too.

A huge sculpture of lion carved from the stone. Although the history is very sad but it is a majestic piece of art work that you see here. A big respect to the people for the memory of whom it was constructed. It is a part of the walking tour that you take with your guide in the city, so you are well informed about the history behind it. Really impressive.

The Lion Monument was one of the most detailed pieces of rock I've ever seen. It was definitely very moving and sad, yet beautiful at the same time. I learned upon visiting, how prestigious the Swiss Mercenaries/Guards were in those times and continue to serve at The Vatican. This monument is a must visit if you are in Luzern.
Phillip Soto — Google review
The Lion Monument is a truly captivating piece of art that embodies deep emotion and historical significance. Carved into the rock face, this monument depicts a dying lion, a powerful symbol of courage and sacrifice. The intricacy of the sculpture's details, from the texture of the lion's fur to the facial expressions, is simply remarkable. The setting, surrounded by a tranquil pond and lush vegetation, adds to the monument's impact, creating a reflective and solemn atmosphere. Visiting the Lion Monument is an experience that evokes contemplation about the past and pays homage to the fallen soldiers it honors.

A beautiful rock carved sculpture depicting the fallen Swiss soldiers from an episode in the French Revolution. The majesty and the anguish of the lion is immense. The park is a very quiet one and the visit there can be combined with the Glacier garden which is adjacent to it. I would consider this to be worth a visit if visiting Lucerne for more than a day.

The place is very calm and relaxing. You can sit down and have a good rest watching the lion monument. It's an incredible art carving on the rock. Its free so it's worth paying a visit. But the museum have to pay.

Massive monument with an interesting fountain in front of it. Much more enjoyable than how it appears in the picture. Check out the really interesting public bathroom.

It is recommended to come when the light is at an oblique angle. It can be morning or evening. To better capture the details of the monuments carved into the rocks without being too contrasty. The monuments are very large compared to people. The surrounding area has stories to tell. You should take time to sit and relax and remember the origin of creation and the serenity of the place of the departing lion

Only a short walk away from the station, it's well maintained and gives an insight into the history and background of the place. There are benches where you can sit and relax and reflect. No fees for entry and it was not crowded when I visited. Please do read the plaque which is at the left hand side corner which gives the historical background

I love how beautiful this place is and for sure there is a sad story behind it but this memorial is full of emotion. It completely shows the pain of war. Make sure you give yourself time to sit for a minute there. Best visited before or after hours with no so many people, in any case people amount changes minute to minute. There are bathrooms there, benches to sit and it’s a beautiful place in whole.

It’s very simple, and yet could portray a lot of meaning and history.
We visited during the fall, and the surrounding trees and leaves just made it all the more beautiful!

The sculpture on the rock of the cliff of Lion is so beautiful and stunning.
The story around is during the French Revolution. The mournful time just invites to the journey back to past.
The place has a small pond and WC and very much accessible from public transport or by walk from station
The town is pretty small so great to explore it by foot
Also there is a glacier museum nearby

Arrived on a rainy summer morning around 10am and it was already pretty crowded. Parked at the Coop shopping center and walked there, but almost everything in Switzerland is accessible by train and bus. The lion is behind the businesses and catches you by surprise once you find it.

It’s easier to get here via public transit. There are paid parking spots nearby but they may be hard to get as there aren’t that many. The park is rather small and can be visited in short time. The Chapel Bridge in Lucerne is a wooden bridge that spans the Reuss River. It is one of the oldest covered bridges in Europe, and it is named after nearby St. Peter's Chapel. The octagonal water tower, built in the early 14th century, is the city's most photographed landmark.
Beautiful place for sightseeing. The old wooden bridge has a sad history but pretty to look at. One can easily roam the entire city and admire the old Town architecture.
The lake has many swans and ducks swimming, it's very cute. Do take a walk in the bridge.

The oldest bridge in Europe. You can read the historical facts online or follow one of the many walking tours available to grasp its significance.
This bridge provides a different architecture scene compared to its surrounding. Yet it does not seem out of place. Rather, it elevates the scenery as one of the most picturesque in Luzerne.
There are tons of alfresco dining available around the area which allows you to enjoy the scenery while eating and drinking.
Because of its popularity with tours and tourists, this bridge can be very crowded and will be difficult to navigate.

It's gorgeous and it's for free. What's not to like? It's worth noting there are stairs involved so there are some potential accessibility issues if you are not so mobile or have a stroller with you (like we did). Wasn't too busy when we visited (end of winter) but I can see this bridge getting packed with tourists during more popular times.

We visited world's oldest truss bridge today and happily ticked one item off our bucket list. This bridge restored after a fire in the 90s still has some of the original paintings left in it. It's at the centre of town connecting the two banks and looks wonderful with the water tower beside it.

Iconic landmark of Lucerne. Aside from the incredible lake, it's a must-see, or you have never been to this city. But it's busy, crazy busy, and you need to be patient to get that shot. I wished we had more time to see more sights of this lovely city, maybe another day.

Rathaus Stadt Luzern is an impressive Italian Renaissance-style town hall that has been a significant building in Lucerne for centuries. Designed by Anton Isenmann and constructed between 1602 and 1606, it serves as the seat of government. Gelmerbahn is a seasonal cable railway in Switzerland, known as one of the steepest in Europe. Initially built as a cargo railway for transporting heavy materials during the construction of Gelmer dam, it has now become a popular funicular attraction. With an inclination of over 106 degrees, it offers an open-air experience with minimal safety measures, making it ideal for thrill-seekers.
Awesome place, one which I had been wanting to go to for years.
From the shaky bridge over the gorge at the bottom, to the ride up and then a two hour trail hike with beautiful views and some spectacular waterfalls.
The train ride is as steep as it looks. Near vertical at points and you do get pulled forward in your seat.
Put this place on your bucket list,

This is a must do if you are in Switzerland. It is the highest alpine coaster in the world and the views are spectacular. The best part is the lake hike at the top. When making ticket reservations, remember to give yourself at least 3 hours at the top to hike and take pictures. The color of the water is stunning. The hike is not difficult and there is only one section with an incline if you walk counter clockwise from the dam. The trail is suitable for children if they listen to instruction and are cautious. We took some bread, cheese and meat and had a lunch while hiking. Best picnic spot ever!

Lovely day here. We were the first ones up our ticket was around 9 so we arrived at 8.45. Please be early as everyone wants to sit at the front and rush. You also need to book for the way back but it can be tricky and you will need to plan as we didn’t know when we wanted to come back as we weren’t sure what was up there.
We made our way to the top, the ride was incredible and steep where we could see the mountains across. We had a clear day so that was good.
Once we reached the top we came across a beautiful clear lake. My partner and I had a quick swim and it was so lovely and refreshing.
After that it was only 10 so we thought we would walk around the lake. We were mindful of the time as we had booked 12.45 and we had googled it takes around 2 hours to walk around. The path isn’t hard itself but you definitely need hiking boots.
There are beautiful stop offs along the way but we couldn’t enjoy it as much due to the time restraint we had with booking our return time.
We made it 15 minutes late but we were allowed on to the next one as we weren’t that late but sometimes it may be fully booked.
Book your slots online as it seems to get fully booked straight away and people were being turned away and some had to wait for half an hour to an hour to get up there.
There is also a bridge when you get down you can visit before or after your trip which has a lovely waterfall

You have to buy tickets in advance at least few days and you should be very precise in time when arriving, no one will wait for you if you late 🙂. There are a very nice hiking path near the rollercoaster. So you can hike down following it or go up, if you will not get a ticket 🙂

What an amazing experience. Definitely should be on your list. Please plan accordingly. First, the trolley is on time, so don't be late. Second, allow at least an hour once you are on top. There is a trail that takes at least 2 hrs, so if you are going to hike there make sure you have the time. You have to buy your ticket to go down on the trolley also, so plan your departure time according to your activity time. Views are breathtaking and the lake is super clear.

The visibility can be tricky due to the clouds so I would advise go a little bit later during the day. The cart all the way up (return) was around 70 e per person.
There is a parking near by that cost us 5 euro for 5 hours.
There are restaurants all the way up. We took fries, coke and pretzel for total of 17e
The hill itself has few small hikes around the peak which is great.
It is possible to hike all the way up or down from the peak.

Wonderful place with a fantastic scenery. A lot of short (but steep) trails and beautiful climb up by the cable car. Take the time to visit the area half way up. It provides a different and nice angle.

The fun thing is that we can get down at any of the stops and hike up or down as per our choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the clouds above, it felt like we were in heaven 😂, everything was blanket white. We hiked down a few kilometres till the last gondola stop. And the walk is steep but very very scenic. If you have the will and stamina, walk down a bit. It’s absolutely beautiful valley and the views are amazing 😍

It was one of the best trips we’ve had in Switzerland. There are different routes to do it, we chose to go with the boat from Luzern, then the funicular up the mountain and then the gondola and cable car down to Kriens and the bus back to Luzern - it was absolutely brilliant. Took a total of 5 - 5.5 hours from the moment we got on the boat. It is recommended to reserve a time slot for the cogwheel train otherwise you would need to wait more.

Picturesquare views from the top. Price from Kulm to Pilatus and back was 62 CHF, but it really pays off. I was at the beginning of march, aby 0 degrees on top, and wind. Not crowded, but I expect it is in high season. In Kulm you can find parking, 5 CHF for whole day, so not too expensive. I definitely recommed to visit Pilatus if you are in Switzerland.

The view from the pick is absolutely stunning! The round trip ticket with the cable car cost 78 CHF. I went on Sunday so the line for taking the gondola was huge. I waited 30-40 min in the line despite the fact that I had an online ticket purchased before.
You should consider 2-3 hours at the peak of the mountain. There are several points to eat, souvenir
and Swiss watches shops and restaurants.
Don't forget to wear comfy clothes and shoes, otherwise it will be difficult to hike.
Ballenberg, Swiss Open-Air Museum, is a captivating showcase of traditional Swiss architecture and crafts. Situated about 6km from Brienz train station, the museum features over 100 century-old buildings from various regions of Switzerland. Visitors can witness demonstrations of cheesemaking and rural crafts while exploring meticulously reconstructed historical structures. The vast parkland houses animals like rabbits, chickens, pigs, goats, cows, and ducks to provide an immersive experience in the region's rich cultural heritage.
The place is fantastic! The landscape is crazy - green hills with mountains covered with snow. The territory of the museum is huge, it almost impossible to see all the old houses inside in one day. But we looooved it anyway!!

Very nice museum with original buildings and history. We had a rainy day so the restaurant was packed, otherwise there are picnic and bbq areas. Now with Covid, you should wear a mask inside any building and yet very few people were doing it or respecting how many inside.

This open air museum is all about Swiss culture and history. You could spend one or more days just enjoying all of the activities. You walk from one canton of Switzerland to the next in just a matter of meters, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the entire country and its people. Each area includes exhibits as well as hands on experiences interspersed throughout. You may bring your own picnic to enjoy on the grounds as well.

This open air museum was quite unique and actually very fun and educative.
The park is beautifully maintained and kept original houses, some from the 1700. The nature around it is actually breathtaking. In many houses there are people working and explaining how they used to make things. From creating silk to smoking sausages. The farm animals in the park like pigs, cows and chickens also have a lot of space and seemed very happy. There are also a lot of events, like: bread making and cooking.
Some minor points; the entrance fee is 24 CFH, which I find quite high (maybe because I am not native from Switzerland). Also 2 restaurants, were closed. This was a bummer, since walking from 1 restaurant to another is also quite challenging for our elder companion because of the hills.
I would visit again, but keep in mind that this will be a whole day activity. When you are in a tight schedule (like me, only 2 days in Interlaken region), it might not be worth it.

The museum is open air. It is very big and you need the whole day to see it all. You have to walk quite a bit. There are many houses, farms, etc. ancient buildings that can be visited inside and it is very interesting to see how people lived in ancient times. There are cows, chickens, pigs, ducks... the children love them!! There are only two restaurants inside the museum and they have the same menu. The prices are very expensive and not worth it. I recommend bringing a picnic because there are many tables and places to eat your own food without any problem. Parking is paid.

Really amazing experience! The staff made it so much fun for the kids! They spoke perfect English and were very happy to explain differences in architecture and history of different areas of Switzerland and guide us throughout.
One word of advice: budget several hours for this place, it is HUGE.

Wow what a cool step back in time! Had no idea how good this would be and enjoyed the entire day! A bit of walking but easy paths and a good map. So thrilled to be in the Swiss country side and the gardens are delightful. One of my favorite things I have done in Switzerland

A wonderful way to spend an afternoon! The museum is quite large in scale with several dozen buildings to explore at your own pace. We walked around for three hours and didn't make it to all of them. During the on-season they have live animals and additional demonstrations which would definitely add to the experience.
The visit is free with the Swiss Travel Pass so definitely stop by if there's time on your trip!

Stunning, gorgeous place for those who are in love with history. You may touch everything, you may have coffee or soup cooked in those ancient kitchens, you may participate in the workshops… In one word - it’s a Time Machine! Must visit! Highly recommended! I was impressed! Advise: bring lunch box and have a good sneakers. Spend the entire day there and walk a lot. No need to buy tickets in advance.

Really impressive!! They have maps and information at each building in 4 different languages. The site is impeccably maintained, there were many active demonstrations throughout the day, and they had several functioning water powered machines. The saw mill is incredible. There are so many well preserved buildings, some dating back to even the 1300’s. There are also many unique building styles from all over the country. Highly recommend, great value as well. I spent all day there and still wasn’t able to see everything.

A collection of Swiss old houses dating back centuries ago... I think around 1330s or so.. So love it! I wish i could have more time to explore when i went. I enjoyed snapping photos of the houses. Where, anywhere in a Swiss mountain pass, can you listen to a choral practicing a dark January Wednesday evening, than outside the Simplon Hospiz?

Clean after snow, perfect! Amazing road and view!!
Andrea Lanfra — Google review
The Simplon Pass at 6,578 feet, is a high mountain pass between the Pennine Alps and the Lepontine Alps in Switzerland. So that's WHERE it is. It's symbolically important and the Simplon Tunnel built beneath the vicinity of the pass saves traffic lots of time.
But it's high above the tree line so it's bare, and the wind whistles through the mountain saddles, so it is cold and windy. The Statue of the Standing Eagle symbolizes 'Flying Free'.

Beautiful scenic road on the Swiss side. We passed from it in July to cross from Italy to go to Tasch & visit the Matterhorn in Zermatt.
Lake Brienz, located to the east of Interlaken, is a picturesque destination featuring turquoise waters and surrounded by majestic Alps views. Visitors can experience boat cruises, waterfalls and walking paths while indulging in activities such as cable car rides to mountain Jungfraujoch or Niederhorn, paragliding, cycling around Brienz Lake or swimming in its refreshing waters.
it's small village with beautiful views. But in winters it's very cold and would be better if you visit this place during the first half of the day.
Any other time of year it is a good place for spending evening with a friend.

Interlaken, Switzerland
We took a ferry around Lake Brienz at Interlaken. There are numerous stops surrounding the lake, many of which have unique features.
One of the stops is famous for a scene in Crash Landing On You! Another stop is famous for its waterfalls. Theres also a stop with a small castle and you can only reach it by hiking or taking the small tram up.
Theres also a farm you can visit and see the animals at one of the stops, but it was closed on the day we went there.
Feel free to have a swim in the lake at the various stops as the water is refreshing and icy cold. The water does not look ordinary as it has a beautiful blue hue and an interesting earthy taste from the glaciers.
This was a very warm and humid place, very bright but scenic and peaceful. A great location for a quiet getaway with a partner.

Lake Brienz is beautiful. We came here during free time on our daytrip. Walked our way to bonigen for 3 km from interlaken to see this amazing lake.
The highest railway in Europe leads to Jungfraujoch, a glacier saddle with an observatory and shops. This destination attracts over two million visitors annually for its stunning views of the Aletsch Glacier and surrounding Alpine peaks. The journey up from Kleine Scheidegg is dramatic as the train passes through the Eiger mountain's icy heart before reaching the Sphinx meteorological station at 3454m above sea level.
This is definitely one of the top tourist attractions in Switzerland and definitely worth a visit with spectacular views of the surrounding mountain range. I recommend you to take the newly built gondola from Grindelwald Terminal which is an experience in itself - the most modern in the world, bringing you comfortably up the mountain with breathtaking views everywhere. The gondola arrives at the top station of Eiger and from there you take the 30 minutest train ride to Jungfraujoch - the highest train station in Europe. Prepare to spend at least 1,5 hour walking around at the different attractions before you visit one of the restaurants available. I can recommend you to try the delicious typical Rösti dish they serve at the top restaurant Crystal - very tasty indeed.

Visiting the Top of Europe Jungfrau was an unforgettable experience. The journey itself, aboard the scenic cogwheel train, was breathtaking as it ascended through the Swiss Alps. Arriving at the summit, the panoramic views were simply awe-inspiring, with vast glaciers and towering peaks stretching as far as the eye could see.
Exploring the attractions at the summit, such as the Ice Palace and Sphinx Observatory, offered unique insights into the region's natural beauty and scientific significance. Stepping out onto the observation deck, I felt like I was on top of the world, surrounded by pristine snow-capped mountains. While the experience was undoubtedly awe-inspiring, it's worth noting that the crowds can be quite large, especially during peak tourist seasons. However, the efficient organization and facilities at the summit helped mitigate any inconveniences.
Overall, a visit to the Top of Europe Jungfrau is a must-do for anyone traveling to Switzerland. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the majesty of the Swiss Alps from its highest point, and the memories made there will last a lifetime.

A highlight for any traveler coming to Switzerland! Europe’s highest railway is certainly an engineering masterpiece of design. First take a cable car up to the train station where you switch into a cog wheel train which then runs through a tunnel in the heart of the mounting ascending to this marvelous viewpoint and diner! It was foggy when we visited but still incredible. The ice cave was super fun to explore and slide around in.

Jungfrau, called the roof of Europe, is a must-visit place for anyone traveling in the Alps.
I took a mountain train to the top, and the train was full of passengers.
It is important to note that the air at the top of the mountain is thin, so if you stay for more than 30 minutes, you may develop alpine symptoms and get headaches.
Even in midsummer, the top of the mountain is very cold and requires a thick coat, and sunglasses are essential because of the white snow field and the UV rays reflected from it.
There are many things to see because the surrounding scenery is very beautiful on the way up to the top of the mountain.

Jungfraujoch is an absolute must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Switzerland. The journey aboard the Jungfrau Railway itself is an adventure, offering jaw-dropping views that seem straight out of a postcard. Once you reach the "Top of Europe," the experience only gets better. The Sphinx Observatory provides unparalleled 360-degree views of the surrounding Alpine landscape, leaving visitors breathless in awe. The Ice Palace, with its intricate ice sculptures and tunnels, adds a touch of magic to the experience, making you feel like you've stepped into a winter wonderland. Whether you're an adrenaline junkie hitting the slopes or simply looking to soak in the stunning scenery while sipping hot cocoa, Jungfraujoch has something for everyone. It's an experience that will stay with you long after you've returned home, leaving you yearning to return to the majestic beauty of the Swiss Alps.

Well, when I visited Jungfraujoch, it wasn't the nicest weather. -21C, foggy and snowy so there wasn't much views to admire. Eismeer was completely blanc btw.
But bad weather doesn't mean I didn't have a great time! there's plenty to see, taste and buy.
Bonus: first step out of the train in the Jungfraujoch station and I found I had altitude sickness. heh! wasn't expecting that one :)
For new comers, the sensation of sickness, dizziness, breathlesness, confusion, high pulse and tiredness are symptoms of altitude sickness. It's not a disease, it's from the rarefied air and the pressure inside the mountain. It occurs when increasing altitude suddenly.
For me, going from 500m altitude in Interlaken to 3454m at Jungfraujoch, in little more than one hour was a bit too much, but increase the altitude slower, and the symptoms disappear.
Overall really nice what the Swiss managed to build well over a century ago with rather primitive tools by today's standards.
All respect for those people!

Joined a tour to visit the mountain to save on logistical planning, and it was very well organised by “Best of Switzerland” tour 👍🏻 our guide Rebecca was very knowledge and friendly, not to mention super enthusiastic throughout our entire visit - constantly engaging everyone during each stopover or transit.
⏰ The rides to and fro the peak were very well organised, with little to no downtime between each transition, leaving sufficient time for toilet breaks too - departing from Lucerne and return took us from 9am to 7pm+
🏔 the view at the top of the mountain was unfortunately hindered by fog, would recommend to check the live cam at the top of the mountain to manage expectations prior to embarking on the trip
🏞 remaining facilities at the peak was good though, with multiple visit points, clear signage to guide the way and decent selection of food and beverages (albeit at a steep price, pun intended)
⛑ safety though, could be looked into - with very slippery surfaces once you step into the open area. Would recommend visitors to wear shoes with grip before embarking on the snowy surfaces
Though we didn’t get to enjoy the full view of what’s it like at the peak, it was still an experience being at the top of Europe, with unparalleled views throughout the way too 👍🏻

Definitely worth a visit! We went on the last Eiger Express gondola at 2.15pm and managed to finish in an hour and half. Views from the Sphinx was great with a metal plate showing what mountains you’re looking at. It got better when we went onto the plateau. Be sure to wear nonslip waterproof shoes as many who did not were seen slipping on the slopes. Ice palace was only a short loop as part of it was closed. On the way up there was also a 5min stop at Eismeer for photo taking. Ample parking available at the station itself and the shops there close at 6pm so you can grab some souvenirs at the souvenir shop or some grocery at COOP Pronto. Overall a great experience not to be missed.

While the Jungfraujoch isn’t as tall as other mountains like Matterhorn, it’s a beautifully made, high altitude place to tour 😊 You can get to see both Jungfraujoch and Mönch at the very least!
We bought tickets using the half fare card for a discount. The entire trip was breathtaking! Love the view on Eiger Express to Eigergletscher btw. Whole trip without lunch was about 4h long including the transport there/back.
There is a map for self guided tour - we walked into Ice Palace, and the two outdoor observation spots, Lindt shop etc.
Bring sunglasses, gloves and be careful of slippery snow when walking out/in from these observation spots! Take lots of pictures with care (eg due to stronger winds than what we’re used to at times)

The place is good for visiting and experiencing. It's worthwhile to visit there for a once if you are in Switzerland. But it's nothing like a mountain climbing or hiking, you couldn't understand how you reach the top of Europe by the train and through the tunnel. I would recommend you to take the traditional mountain railway to visualise more beautiful surroundings.
Check weather report before reaching there
Trümmelbach is a breathtaking waterfall nestled inside a mountain, fed by glaciers and snow deposits over 24 sq km. The cascading water flows through ravines and potholes, creating an awe-inspiring spectacle of up to 20,000L per second. Visitors can enjoy walking trails and viewing platforms with bus access from the train station or a short walk from Lauterbrunnen. The cave's temperature can get chilly so bringing a jacket is recommended but not necessary.
Unexpected trip since we were in the area. We were happy to stumble across this little gem. It can get quite cold in the cave so you might bring a jacket. It’s tolerable without one. Really neat walking through the caves and seeing all the different waterfalls. 12CHF each for adults.
Rachel Rose — Google review
lift takes you to the upper level but still from here you have to hike a little to be at the topmost platform and then from there you come down covering all the watching platforms. It is dark at some places and it can be cold due to the spray coming from the gallons of water falling down with the force, so keep a jacket with you always. The entrance ticket(€14) is worth the money and time. Keep atleast 1 hour aside for the complete visit.

Up & close to a waterfall ! The main reason to go it you can trace the path of the waterfall towards its source ! Also the recommended way to visit is to walk down from lauterbrunne all the way ..

Our very first tunnel waterfall experience. The tunnel and sheer force of water is amazing. We took the lift then walked down on our return. It can get crowded later in the day so it seems best to go earlier.
Inside it is light and enought lights for pics, videos for the instagrammers. It can be a little slippery for older folks so care must be taken.
Worth a visit if you are in the Lauterbrunn valley area. We walked to the falls and back, the walk is by the water, fields and on both sides of the valley you can see the sheer power of mother nature with the falls hovering all around.

Amazing and unique.
You can feel the power and noise of the falls especially when inside the mountain. It’s actually quite a thrill and you can see why they don’t allow dogs or kids under 4 years.
The funicular is ‘fun’ and saves your legs a small climb. But the whole walk itself is pretty cruisy if you can manage lots of steps. Most people funicular up and then walk the rest including down.
The views into the valley from up there are really nice too.
It was quite difficult to get any good photos of the waterfall as you are right in there next to it. Preferred to put the phone away and enjoy it.

The falls are amazing in the summer and is a must see if you are staying around the Lauterbrunnan area. You can take the cable car/elevator up to falls 6-10 and walk down the steps to see the rest of them. It is well worth the 14 chf per person and is much better than the Staubbach or other falls in the area.

Loved every bit of it. One of a kind experience of a rapid waterfall inside a mountain (tunnel?). You can go up various levels as well to experience it from different viewpoints (still inside the mountain). It does get quite chilly and drizzly with the water droplets all over - be prepared for that, wear a waterproof jacket. Must go when in Lauterbrunnen.

I will highly recommend everyone to visit this place if your in Switzerland 🇨🇭. Believe me pictures do not do justice, you need to see it with your naked eyes...

It's a beautiful place to visit. It's a quiet small village surrounded by huuge mountains. There's a river flowing along a village coming straight from the top of the mountains. The colorful valley has also a slight waterfall next to the village turning it into a paradise worth to visit. A hundred percent recommended.

The Harder Kulm observation deck offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and lakes from an elevated lookout point over 1300 meters high in Interlaken, Switzerland. Visitors can easily reach the site by walking five minutes from the nearest train station or parking nearby and taking the funicular to the top.
This is a fantastic viewpoint for those who want to see Interlaken and the two lakes (Lake Thun and Lake Brienz) from above.
The ticket to the Harder Kulm bahn is cheap, and it's a short ride to the top. It's normally quite crowded because it's a popular tourist attraction. However, it was quite empty when we went there in June 2021 because of COVID-19. We basically had the whole place to ourselves.

We went on the first ascent at 9:10am, and the sun was bright in the sky. It was a beautiful day, and surprisingly hot on the mountain in the middle of November. It was colder in Interlaken than up here. There were few people here this early so I recommend going on the first funicular up. It started getting crowded around 10. I wish there were more funiculars going because we had to wait for 30 minutes before we could go back down. There are several hiking trails but they looked strenuous.

Went here in April, which is supposed to be off season and there were still so many people. The views are absolutely incredible at the top but the train ride up was rammed and hot, 65 people max in the tram meant people were sat and stood like sardines, of course like any tourist destination and obviously being Switzerland the food and drink were very expensive, you weren’t allowed to take your own food either but overall a good experience

Lovely 8 min trip up the mountain, some of my group did the hike up, super steep and muddy, took them just over 2 hours.
Views from the top are stunning!

Wow! Fantastic view from 1300+ heights at Interlaken, Switzerland 🇨🇭.
From Interlaken Ost you have to walk 5 min to reach the station. then straight to the high. it will cost you around 34 fr per person. if you have eurail pass of the day , discounted price will be 25fr. There is restaurant also with different tastes of food.
People are rushing there every day! most beautiful scenerio you will experience here. i can’t describe the view in my words.

I loved it here. The view was so amazing. The restaurant food was good. I went in October so there wasn't too many people. I had a great time.

Such a cool experience and 100% worth it. The views are incredible and there is nothing else like it anywhere else. The food is obviously very pricey, so I would recommend eating beforehand. Would also recommend going earlier in the day to allow some time to hike around, there are not a lot of people on the trails further up the mountain.

Although we went to the top, we were hit by summer. Great view and experience though. There are a lot of people to experience the amazing view. If you take a half pay card while entering swis, every tourist experience is cut by half and trust me it saves you a lot.

A little difficult the hiking trec with no water fountain on the way. On top there were so many tourist for the photo view, but the whole area is great to take photos too. Tomatoes soup was creamy and tasty. We were lucky we saw 3 rainbows and listened to live folk music. Just amazing!

Was a good experience! It was pretty insanely crowded thanks to it being the first operating day of the season, but a disorganised crowd meant that we were able to skip nearly 2 hours of waiting with some smart manoeuvres with the line. Stunning view from the top, and the Funicular ride was very fun as well.

Amazing view of all interlaken and the 2 lakes , its absolutely fantastic .. and very easy to get there from the train station Interlaken Ost, or by car you can find a parking next to the train station , then take the funicular to the top..

MUST visit place if in Interlaken or even passing by. We loved it. The train ride goes up about 1.2KM and was fun. Ensure you get visitor card from Hotel which will save you 10 Swiss Frank per person. The view from up Top is gorgeous. You can see both lakes Thun n Brienze. Highly recommend this place for the whole family.

Nice observation point... but with the very crowded train and the place itself... definitely not a must.

This was an excellent experience in Interlarken, and one of the best places to get a crazy good view. It is a bit touristy, but regardless, still an excellent place to visit. The funicular ride up is breathtaking, especially from the back, with the view of the mountains, but it was full to the brim as it was super busy. At the top, however, it can also get a little crowded.
Head straight to the viewpoint as this is why you are up here! It is incredible!!!
There was about a 45 minute wait at the bottom to get up and another 30 minute wait to get back down. Be prepared to spend time stood up!
Price: £32 return with an Interlaken tourist pass, or £38 without. Go when it opens to avoid the crowds!

This was an excellent experience in Interlarken, and one of the best places to get a good view. It is a bit touristy, but regardless, still an excellent place to visit. The funicular ride up is breathtaking, especially from the back, with the view of the mountains. At the top, however, it can get a bit crowded, so it is generally easier to walk down the mountain and stop at some of the points on the trail.

Good experience at the Harder Kulm. Was there during the sunset hour. Restaurant can get pretty crowded and it’s necessary to order a main course to sit at the aisle seats for the best view of lake brienz and lake thun. Raclette was good and presentation was great.

Would recommend to visit harder kulm as it's the top of interlaken. Went there very early and got in the line before they opened. There were two separate lines, left side of the line for having ticket already while the right side of the line for not having ticket in advance. We went past the people in line to get into the first row on the left side of the line since we had our ticket/pass already. Very very good view, unfortunately during our visit it was a cloudy and rainy day but there were times we got to see good views too. Also would recommend to sit in the front row to be able to feel a little excitement to see a great view as the car ascended/descended upward/downward respectively.

Beautiful stunning place. But maybe not stroller friendly due to the crowd. Though you can park the stroller at the station. The queue can be better organized. The staff are amazing friendly.

The views were amazing during sunset but be prepared to wait in line for the train even though booking was already made online and no one really monitors the queue and can be quite messy when it is crowded.
Definitely still worth a visit if you are in interlaken for the first time.

From the Harder Kulm you can enjoy a fantastic view not only on the two lakes that surround Interlaken, the Brienzer and Thun Lake, but also on the amazing Jungfrau region, with its majestic peaks , which are over 4000m high. You can get to the top on foot or by using the Harderbahn. You choose. Be sure to go there on a day with good weather, otherwise you won't get to enjoy the magical view on the top.

Amazing views! Definitely worth going. Can be a bit pricey if you catch funicular but it is really nice experience. Dogs are allowed and I recommend to purchase tickets online in advance as it can gets busy especially in summer time

A picturesque high viewpoint to have lovely glimpses of the Snow Capped Swiss Alps, the green forests, the changing autumn colours, the beautiful water bodies, the sky view of Interlaken city.
An unforgettable experience, which one will cherish for long.
The Tram ride to the top of the mountain is an amazing experience.
