Taragarh Fort is an awe-inspiring historical landmark built in 1113 during the reign of King Ajaypal Chauhan. The fort boasts of remarkable architectural design and exquisite stone carvings that are intricately crafted. It is surrounded by lush greenery, which enhances its overall beauty and adds to the charm of this ancient structure. Taragarh Fort is a testament to India's rich cultural heritage and serves as a reminder of its glorious past.
About 20 minute hike through the slope and steps. Carry water bottle. Winter and post monsoon season is best. Amazing views from both side of hill. Old palace and water harvesting wells constructed. Govt must renovate the heritage and increase amenities.. Must go to the back side for lake and tower view

A one time visit place. Although build thoughtfully, there is no attractions like the other forts of same era. Most of the art work is damaged.
There is q lack of basic amenities like water and toilets in the fort.
Approach road is narrow and difficult for four wheelers.

Good things:-
You get nice view of Bundi City, I believe in rainy season it must looks stunning.
Not good things:-
- Not maintained, smelly at major parts of the fort.
- Compared to other forts in Rajasthan, Taragrh has lost it's beauty.
- Lady managing the parking lot misbehave with tourists. The staff at the fort cares nothing about it.
- After a long steep trail leading towards Rani Mahal, you hope for a opulent Rani palace but you get is ruins and a dirty stepwell.

Located on the Nagpahadi hill, one of the tall mountains of the Aravalli range, Taragarh Fort is a magnificent fortress. It stands at an elevation of 1426 feet atop the mountain peak, serving as an excellent example of a hill fort. Also known as the "Fort of Bundi," it was constructed by Rao Deva Hada, the founder of Bundi, in the 14th century (1354). Three grand gates were built to enter this fortress situated on the steep slope of the Aravalli mountains. The construction of this fort was carried out by Rao Bar Singh Hada, and its gates are known as Lakshmi Pol, Hathi Pol, and Bhoota Darwaza, along with Gaugarh Gate. The Hathi Pol gate is adorned with colossal elephant statues. The palaces within the fort are unique due to their architectural finesse and fresco paintings. Among these palaces, Chattar Mahal, Aniruddha Mahal, Ratan Mahal, Badal Mahal, and Phool Mahal are prominent.

Taragarh palace is a heart of bundi. You can visit here anytime. Personally i don't like it as precious things inside it can't be protected and renew time to time. Ticket Price is not value for money.
Lucky Jajoriya — Google review
It's an amazing historical fort from where you can get a good view of the city, however it is ill maintained. The city of Bundi has a lot potential to develop as a tourist destination but the government is not interested to bring Bundi on the tourist map of India.
Historically
It is a massive fort in Bundi and built at a height of 500 meters on a hill by Rao Singh Bar in the 13th century under the reign of King Ajaypal Chauhan. Built in 1354 AD, although the fort is now in a ramshackle state, the Taragarh Fort still remains one of the most impressive forts in Rajasthan. It is built on a steep hill and now is overgrown by vegetation.
Unlike most forts in Rajasthan which are made of Sandstone the Taragarh Fort is made of serpentine stone which is green in colour. It remains one of the few forts in Rajasthan which does not show influences of Mughal style of art and architecture.

Bundi is a must visit off-beat destination in Rajasthan. Taragarh fort is a perfect example of Rajasthani culture, art and heritage. The Intricate carvings and Paintings will take you back in time and will feel you mesmerized.
The Fort is quite well maintained and is not crowded as other forts/palaces, which makes it a perfect place for sustainable travelling.

Garh Palace is a historical attraction comprising of a grand Rajput castle and several smaller palaces dating back to the 17th century. The castle boasts stunning wall murals, which are well-preserved by the management. Tourists can visit several palaces within the palace complex, including Chatra Mahal, Badal Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sinhasan and Ratan Daulat,Hathi Pol,and Chitrashaala.
Majestic fort complex made by hada rajput dynasty of Bundi. lot of storeys made one above the other along the hills. Architecture, strength and good cooling effects. Some storeys are still not opened. Govt should renovate this beautiful heritage site and increase the amenities especially accessibility

Entrance:
There is a steep walk to reach the main entrance. Its advisable to take water bottle from the ticketing window as you wont find anything to drink or eat once inside the fort.
View:
The top of the fort gives a panoramic view of the Bundi town.
Inside:
Its more of a fort than a palace. A small portion of this monument is preserved while the rest is mostly in ruins. When we visited, it was being renovated. There is one garden in the entrance which is well maintained.
Terrace:
Terrace is a must visit to soak in the sun in winters. Here is where you can see the entire town and a nearby lake.
Beware of monkeys and also honey bees as they build combs frequently.
Staff:
The staff is quite helpful and cautious and will help you with directions.
All in all - must visit if you are in Bundi.

Very nice palace and beautiful paintings. The guards a very helpful and open the different rooms for you to see the paintings.
On the other hand…very disappointed that I could not access the fort…the way to the fort is full of big and agressive monkeys…even the guards are telling you to be careful. Something should be done regarding the monkeys because at the end you cannot do the full visit.

The Views from the above are breathtaking, One of the rarest constructions of Palaces you can See here, the fort itself is an art.
Abhishek Jaiswal — Google review
As such Bundi is a small and dirty place but it has a gem in the form of Garh Palace. There is a entry ticket as almost all of it is still owned by Royals of Bundi. There is a small free parking near the entrance but you may find a irritating and rude woman claiming to be parking attendant. Beware of her, she is a fraud. There are strange rules as one can use mobile to take pictures and make videos but one cannot use selfie stick. Inside Garh Palace there are different palaces constructed by different kings. All worth visiting like Badal Mahal. King's throne made of marble is unique and amazing. There is also Chitralekha with beautiful garden, shivling and a gallery of Bundi's paintings. Chitralekha is maintained by Archeological Survey of India and paintings are stunningly beautiful. Also inside Garh Palace is the Bundi fort. The fort covers the whole of the hills which surround Bundi. Inside the fort one has to be very careful as wild monkeys are there and they do attack. Go in big groups and carry sturdy sticks. I loved Garh Palace, if you are unfortunate to be in Bundi due to some bad luck, you can still visit Garh Palace to redeem bad luck.

Good place for an evening outing with family. It houses miniature models of 7 wonders of the world: pyramid, Roman Colosseum, Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal, Statue of Liberty, Christ the Redeemer, tower of Pisa. Kids can play in the park and see the wonders. You can click good pictures in the park. It’s well maintained and clean place. Some eateries are there in the park for refreshments and fast food. Vehicle parking is there at the entrance at very nominal price.
Just on the lakeside of Kishor Sagar lake in Kota, these seven wonders are miniaturised version of great structures and monuments in the world like Eiffel Tower, Leaning tower of Pisa, Pyramids, Taj Mahal etc. Beautifully built, they are a treat to the eyes and look majestic near the lake providing a beautiful vista. It looks much more beautiful in the evening when colourful lights are illuminated on the structures. This is a ticketed entry but very nominal. Do visit if you are in Kota. Fooding options are very limited, only one cafe but not very good. Otherwise a great place to spend time in the evening.

Seven Wonders in Kota is a decent place to visit, but it falls short in capturing the essence of an ancient environment. While efforts have been made to create a good experience, there's a noticeable lack of authenticity that leaves visitors wanting more.
The replicas of the seven wonders are well-made, showcasing impressive craftsmanship. However, the overall ambiance fails to transport visitors to the awe-inspiring settings of these ancient marvels. There's a missing element that prevents a truly immersive experience.
Despite this, Seven Wonders still offers some enjoyable moments, especially for those interested in architecture and historical monuments. It can be a fun outing for families and groups looking to appreciate iconic landmarks in a condensed format.

The Shree Kaal Bhairav Mandir in Ujjain is a Hindu temple dedicated to the city's guardian deity. One unique feature is the offering of liquor to the god, as it is believed that this will help fade away life's issues. Visitors can pray and then drink or give the liquor as a gift.
Amazing place to go. Unique temple . So much happiness .. you got to get liquor for the god and pray. Post which you get to drink it or can give it to someone there . Since Kala Bhairava likes Liquor , we got to get one for him. It denotes that liquor will help us to fade away the issues we have in life.

I am from Chennai and used to temples of different kind and different practices. But I loved this place. This temple has very intense vibes and even amidst crowd I felt calm inside and out. In google it says 24 hours open but not so, they close at 10 pm. 9 pm is aarti time. It is crowded all through the year I heard. Shree Kaal Bhairav here is the protecting deity for Ujjain and Mahakaleshwar. Alcohol is one of the offerings here. It is sold outside the temple. There are many shops around the temple. Plenty of car parking. Few hours of waiting in the queue and chanting His name while standing in the line is not an issue for you, you will love the place and be charged up for sure.

Very intense and powerful temple.
There is a unique thing about this temple which is, devotees offer liquor to the idol. This felt very interesting and surprising.

The Kaal Bhairav Temple is a sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Bhairava, a fierce manifestation of Lord Shiva. It is located in the city of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India. The temple is renowned for its association with the deity Kaal Bhairav, who is worshipped as the guardian of time.
Devotees believe that offering prayers at the Kaal Bhairav Temple can help mitigate the effects of unfavorable planetary influences and bring blessings for prosperity and protection. The temple is especially crowded on Sundays and during the festival of Kaal Bhairav Ashtami, which falls on the eighth day of the Krishna Paksha (waning phase of the moon) in the Hindu month of Margashirsha (November-December).
One notable feature of the temple is the practice of offering alcohol to Lord Bhairava as a part of worship, which is unique among Hindu temples. The belief is that offering liquor symbolizes the offering of one's ego and desires to the deity, seeking his protection and guidance.
Overall, the Kaal Bhairav Temple in Ujjain is a significant pilgrimage site for devotees of Lord Bhairava and those seeking blessings for protection and prosperity.

One of the Religious places, people all around the corners of India reach here to visit the temple. Sometimes the crowd is large, but management is good. Prasad can be bought just outside of the temple. There is a barricade for queues management.

One of the most sacred and worshipped temple in Ujjain after Mahakal Mandir. First people seek blessings from Mahakal Mandir and then visit here. Near to these temple it also has Bhairav Ghat where you can have Holy Bath and Boat Riding, you can also see some of the most scenic sunset here it depends on climatic conditions. Management is perfect here for visiting people whether it is crowded or not. Soul and Heart becomes more Divine & Peaceful after worshipping to God here such a holy place it is. When I visited these holy place some people told me earlier to take alcohol as a offering to God and what I see is their are wine shops from which people are purchasing as per belief, but reality was different management staff restricted people from offering alcohol to God "Shree Kaal Bhairavji" don't know the exact reason but still people were offering alcohol at the backside of temple which was terrible as it made floor slippery, surrounding dirty, muddy and stinky. No problem for food near by, you can have fast food or snacks like pani puri, corn chaat etc, & must try here is khicha or papad which is fried and served with mirch masala. For children's their is also a enjoyable camel ride here when these holy place is much crowded. E-Rickshaw & Auto are the most convenient means of transport here. Main Road linked to these place is Ring Road.

No description is required as naam is enough...shoe storage facility is available for ₹10 just before the entrance of the temple and the place is always very crowded. Liquor shop is also there, you can buy them easily.

Shri Kaal Bhairav Mandir is believed to be built by king Bhadrasen dated back in 9th century. The present day temple was made by Maratha King Mahadaji Shinde after fulfilment of his desire to re establish the Maratha Kingdom after defeat in third battle of Panipat. He had offered his turban to Lord Kaal Bhairav and established this temple once reestablishes the Maratha rule. The temple has reflection of Maratha period. The deepmala are placed in the temple. Liquor is also offered to the lord.
Shri Kaal Bhairav is Senapati of Mahaakaal and worshipped in that context. One must visit the temple if in Ujjain.

Jai Kala Bhairav! Jai Mahakal! Kala bhairav is referred to as ujjain’s guard. He is the protector of Ujjain. The temple is amazing. You feel energetic once you enter it. Whiskey is offered to the lord kala bhairav. You can buy from the Prasad shop. It’s outside the premises. But during saawan month it is not offered.

Very spiritual place. There were a lot of crowd when I visited during the week days. I started to stand in queue around 12:30 and we ended around 2:30. It's a tradition to offer liquor to Kala Bhairava. Nowadays it's not allowed, but some devotees do offer it. The devotees hand over the liquor bottles to the priest, who pours the liquor in a saucer. He then offers prayers and takes the saucer near the deity's lips, which have a slit. He tilts the plate a bit, and the liquor starts disappearing.

Located 6 kilometres away from the Mahakal temple, this temple is located outside the city and you'll have to hire a cab or auto to reach there. Great place but need better crowd management.
himanshu saini — Google review
This temple has more crowd than the Mahakal temple. The reason might be lack of management. It takes more than 2 hours to stand in the line & visit the main deity. The road that leads to the temple is also dirty. And one thing you must keep in mind that, here liquor is offered to God as Prasad. So if you can consume the Prasad then only offer it to God or else don't offer. This place needs more managing same like the Mahakaleshwar temple.

The present-day temple structure was built over the remains of an older temple. The original temple is believed to have been built by an obscure king named Bhadrasen. It has been mentioned in the Avanti Khanda of the Skanda Purana.Images of Shiva, Parvati, Vishnu and Ganesha belonging to the Paramara period (9th-13th century CE) have been recovered from the place. The temple walls were once decorated with Malwa paintings. However, only traces of these paintings are visible now.
The present-day temple structure shows Maratha influence. According to the local tradition, after the Maratha defeat in the Third Battle of Panipat (1761 CE), the Maratha general Mahadaji Shinde offered his pagri (turban) to the deity, praying for victory in his campaign to restore the Maratha rule in North India. After successfully resurrecting Maratha power, he carried out restoration of the temple.
A replica of the temple has been established on the Bhuj-Mundra road in Gujarat.

This temple is very famous for the visitors coming to Ujjain. But there is no management in this temple, there is neither provision of drinking water nor any kind of shade from the temple side. Devotees are forced to stand under the open sky. The management here should provide basic facilities to the visiting devotees so that they can plan to come again. Any devotee who comes here comes with the trust of God. There should be separate arrangements for darshan for the elderly and the disabled. I hope this comment of mine reaches the temple management and necessary action is taken.

When you go to Ujjain, visiting Kaal Bhairav Mandir is must. Here Lord Kaal Bhairav is offered alcohol as Prasad.
There is always huge crowd here. Despite the crowd there is no crowd management, no maintenance, dirt and filth everywhere. Even there is no place for keeping shoes.
Verdict: A must visit place, but better to be early in the day.

The Kal Bhairav temple is a temple located in the Ujjain city of Madhya Pradesh, India.
It is dedicated to Kal Bhairav, the guardian deity of the city.
It is said that without his permission no one can enter 'mahakal lok'.
[1] Located on the banks of the Shipra River, it is one of the most active temples in the city, visited by hundreds of devotees daily.
[2] Liquor is one of the offerings made to the temple deity.
You can see a wine shop near temple which is crowded by devotees.
When we went temple there were people's in 400-500+ and we waited 2-3 hrs for our darshan. But after darshan we all were lost in the wonders of kaal bhairav when we saw temple members were offering liquor to kaal bhairava 🔱 .
Amazed to see this first time.

The area around the waterfall is well-maintained and clean. There are seating areas where visitors can relax and enjoy the view. There are also small food stalls selling snacks and refreshments, which is convenient for those who want to spend more time there.
Overall, my experience at Patalpani Waterfall was fantastic. The natural beauty, peaceful atmosphere, and the refreshing waterfall made it a perfect getaway from the city. I highly recommend visiting this place if you're in Indore.

Nice Natural waterfall in the periphery of Indore. Best part is good concrete road which is accessible for both two and four wheelers. There are too rush on weekends. Visit during monsoon.

From my experience the best time to visit the Patalpani in monsoon. There is a beautiful trek of about 1.5km and beautiful view of train station, it’s just 25km away from Indore so as per my suggestion you should go via bike, scooter that you can easily get through rent charges 600 per day. The water is looks clean and lots of food stalls available here so you don’t need to bring food with you.
Must visit!
Tip: DO NOT VISIT DURING SUMMERS

Beautiful waterfall and greenery all around. It's a heritage site. Also, you can see the beautiful railway track and tunnels. Place to visit with bunch of people and can easily spend 3-4 hours of good time. Apart from this, a important fact that you won't find water there in non-rainy seasons so better to hit the place accordingly. Horse riding is also available.

It was an amazing weekend spent at this place. The Patalpani Waterfall is a waterfall on the Choral River, a tributary of the Narmada, located in the Mhow Tehsil of Indore district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. Patalpani is a waterfall in Madhya Pradesh. It has an approximate 91 metres (300 ft). It is on the Choral River.
The water flow is highest immediately after the rainy season (usually after July). It goes almost dry in the summer season, and the stream is reduced to a trickle. The area around Patalpani is a popular picnic and trekking spot.

The waterfall's beauty is breathtaking, and the sound of the cascading water is soothing to the ears.
The trek to the waterfall is an experience in itself, with lush greenery and rocky terrain to navigate. The water is crystal clear, and swimming in the natural pool beneath the waterfall is refreshing.
The surroundings are tranquil, making it an ideal spot for a picnic or a day trip with family and friends.
Overall, Patal Pani is a wonderful place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and connect with nature.

Shri Mamleshwar Jyotirlinga is a Hindu temple in Madhya Pradesh dedicated to the worship of Shiva. It boasts centuries-old pagodas adorned with intricately carved statues and mantras. The temple's Strota includes Omkareswar and Mamleswar, which together form the sacred phrase "Omkar Mamleswar". A visit to both temples is considered incomplete without seeing Mamaleswar at the south bank of Narbada river.
Strota of Jyotirlinga includes Omkareswar & Mamleswar as mentioned like “Omkar Mamleswar”. Without darshan of Mamaleswar at the south bank of Narbada river is said to be not complete the darshan of Omkareswar Jyotirlinga at the northern bank of Narbada. Temple was beautifully built in tenth century. Stone craftsmanship looked great. No tickets were required to go in. Not much crowd. People offered milk & Bel Patra to Shivaji. Outside ambience was good & peaceful. Stone art works looked wonderful. A must visit temple while visiting Omkareswar Jyotirlinga at Madhya Pradesh

This is one of the Jyotirlinga temple and as per thoughts, devotees need to visit this temple after the visit of Omkareshwar temple.
Devotees are blessed by lord Mamleshwar Shiv Ji here.
Temple is very ancient and it's is in same condition since it's constructed.
On the way from Omkareshwar to Mamleshwar lots of small small shops with options of tea, snacks, cutlery items are located.
Also shops with poojan samagri, different sizes of lord narmadeshwar Shiv linga are also located on this way.
Har Har Mahadev, Jay Mamleshwar 🙏

At a distance of 1 km from Omkareshwar Bus Station, Mamleshwar Temple is a sacred Hindu temple located in the holy town of Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh. Situated right opposite the Omkareshwar temple on the southern bank of the Narmada River, it is one of the popular temples in Omkareshwar.
There are two main temples of Shiva here, one to Omkareshwar (whose name means "Lord of Omkara or the Lord of the Om sound") located in the island and the other one Mamleshwar (Amaleshwar) (whose name means "Immortal Lord" or "lord of the Immortals or Devas") located on the southern bank of the Narmada River on the mainland.

After visiting Shri Omkareshwar temple, we visited this shrine, just about a 10-minute walk, across the bridge over Narmada. It was a blissful experience to visit this beautiful temple, with beautiful stone sculptures.
When we visited at about 9.30 am in mid Feb, 2024 , there was no waiting time to enter the temple.

I made my way to Omkareshwar from Indore. I stayed at the Temple View Hotel, which is an MPTC property. The meal is nice and the hotel rooms are clean. The hotel's deluxe rooms offer the greatest views. The hotel has a complete view of the Narmada River and the temple and is situated across from the ghat. The temples of Omkareshwar and Mamleshwar are stunning. It's an ancient temple with its original construction. The location was packed because I visited during Mahashivratri, yet the electricity in the air captivated me.Mamleshwar temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located in Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh, India. The temple is located at a walking distance from the Omkareshwar temple. You can do the darshan on your own, but it is advisable to hire a pandit. The pandit will help you with the rituals and make sure that you have a smooth visit. You can offer flowers, water, and even touch the idol. The temple is relatively less crowded, but it depends on what time of the day you are visiting.

Omkareshwar (IAST: Ōṃkārēśvar) is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva, located in Mandhata, nearby Khandwa city in Khandwa district of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. centuries ago the Bhil tribe settled people on this place and now this place is famous for its grandeur and history.[1] It is on an island called Mandhata, near Khandwa city in the Narmada river at Khandwa district in Madhya Pradesh, India; the shape of the island is said to be like the Devanagari ॐ symbol.
As per Shiv Mahapuran, once Brahma (the Hindu God of creation) and Vishnu (the Hindu God of Protection and Care) had an argument in terms of supremacy of creation. To test them, Shiva pierced the three worlds as a huge endless pillar of light, the jyotirlinga. Vishnu and Brahma split their ways to downwards and upwards respectively to find the end of the light in either directions. Brahma lied that he found out the end, while Vishnu conceded his defeat. Shiva appeared as the second pillar of light and cursed Brahma that he would have no place in ceremonies while Vishnu would be worshipped until the end of eternity. The jyotirlinga is the supreme partless reality, out of which Shiva partly appears. The jyothirlinga shrines, thus are places where Shiva appeared as a fiery column of light. Originally there were believed to be 64 jyothirlingas while 12 of them are considered to be very auspicious and holy. Each of the twelve jyothirlinga sites take the name of the presiding deity – each considered different manifestation of Shiva. At all these sites, the primary image is lingam representing the beginningless and endless Stambha pillar, symbolizing the infinite nature of Shiva.
The twelve jyothirlingas are Somnath in Gujarat, Mallikarjuna at Srisailam in Andhra Pradesh, Mahakaleswar at Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh, Omkareshwar in Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh, Kedarnath in Himalayas, in Uttrakhand state, Bhimashankar in Maharashtra, Viswanath at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, Triambakeshwar near Nashik in Maharashtra, Vaidyanath Temple, Vaidyanath in Jharkhand, Nageshwar at Dwarika in Gujarat, Rameshwar at Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu and Grishneshwar near Aurangabad, Maharashtra in Maharashtra.
It is situated in the Mandhata city (also known as Omkareshwar) in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh state in India. It is about 16 km from Barwaha in Madhya Pradesh. Omkareshwar is formed by the sacred river Narmada. This is one of the most sacred rivers in India and is now home to one of the world's biggest dam projects. The temple is situated on Mandhata or Shivpuri island on the banks of Narmada and river Kaveri (a tributary of Narmada). The island is 4 KM long and 2.6 km2 (2,600,000 m2) in area and can be approached by boats and bridge. Thank you for reading ❤️

Shri Mamleshwar Jyotirlinga, also known as Amareshwar or Amareshvar, is another revered site in the vicinity of Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga. The ancient architecture and the sacred atmosphere contribute to a profound religious experience. While slightly less known than Omkareshwar, Mamleshwar Jyotirlinga offers a quieter and contemplative space for worship, attracting those seeking a more intimate connection with divinity.

From bus stand it's hardly 10 mins by auto. They charge you 20rs per seat from bus stand to temple. Opposite the temple there are few flower shops you can buy flower garlands or baskets and keep your bags with them visit Mamleshwar temple and then leave for Omkareshwar temple, then while returning from Omkareshwar you can collect from them.
Well speaking about Mamleshwar temple there isn't much crowd. Try to visit early in morning and avoid weekends. You can peacefully take darshan.
It's less crowded as compared to Omkareshwar.
Once you leave Mamleshwar temple on right there is a road that takes you to bridge or to the riverside.
There are two ways to go to Omkareshwar temple.
1. By bridge walking
2. By boat (they charge you 50rs per person)
Accordingly choose your path
It's really crowded at Omkareshwar temple which might take like 4-5 hrs so plan accordingly.

An architectural marvel, and probably one of the best maintained archeological heritage sites in India, with a beautiful manicured garden in its front. With water bodies on two sides, it presumably gives the look of an anchored ship and thus named Jahaz (ship) Mahal.
Jahaz Mahal is one of the most prominent and beautiful part of the entire cluster of historical monuments in Mandu. This stunningly beautiful monument deserves a place in the list of world heritage sites.
It's a two storeyed building, and we got an excellent view from the rooftop. There are approximately 35 steps (wide with reasonable height) to reach the rooftop. Both me and my wife are Sr. Citizens and could comfortably take the steps.

Sunrise - sunset. The 110-m-long and 15-m-broad double-storeyed building is located on a narrow strip of land between the Munj Talao and Kapur Talao, giving the appearance of a ship in water. probably built by Sultan Ghiyathuddin Khalji in the later part of the 15th century. It served as a large harem for the sultan and accommodated a staggering 15,000 women. Later it also served as the residence of Noor Jahan, the favourite queen of Mughal Emperor Jahangir. The southern end of the double - storied building has a stairs leading directly to the terrace. The northern end of the terrace contains a swimming pool of floral design there is a similar pool just below it on the first floor. The terrace has two domed pavilion on the southern and northern end of the long Jahaz Mahal. The northern pavilion is not at the very end of the terrace but just south of the swimming pool.
Roopmati Pavilion, a palace with a romantic history, was built by Baz Bahadur for his beloved Roopmati. It offers stunning views of the Narmada River and is part of the ancient rock-cut architecture dating back to the 5th and 6th centuries. Originally an army observation post, it later became Roopmati's residence. The palace is meticulously maintained and surrounded by lush greenery, adding to its charm.
Visited this gorgeous place in the month of September. It is a bit of 300 metres climb diagonally from the vehicle parking place. Absolutely gorgeous views all around the site and a must visit site for those visting Mandu.

Like the Baz Bahadur Palace the Roopmati Pavilion also predates Baz Bahadur. Going by its strategic location on a hill top at the very southern end of the plateau, it is quiet likely it servea as a military outpost keeping an eye on invading armies. It was later converted into a pleasure house by Baz Bahadur for his favourite lover Roopmati, who is to graze at the Narmada from the pavilion. The pavilion consists of two structure built at different level. The base of the upper structure coincides with the top of the lower structure and thus providing a double storied appearance. The overall structure is
U - shaped with a with a neatly maintained garden in the middle. The Roppmati's Pavilion contains massive arched passages complete with water channels to keep the palace cool from the scorching heat of Mandu. The terrace provides great views of the Nimar plains stretching all the way to the Narmada River. Like the Baz Bahadur's Palace the terrace contains two domed pavilions. It was probably from here Roopmati watched the Narmada flow and refused to eat, when the river was not visible.

One of the many great places to see in Mandu . This was earlier built as a Army observation post . Built of sandstone - Rani Roopmati lived at this palace later. She used to have an avid interest in singing and worshipped Maa Narmada . The river Narmada could be seen from the top as a stream on a clear day.
Cleanliness is kept at every inch of the palace. Surrounding Greenery is what gives this palace its charm.
Fact - This palace strategically separates Nimar and Malwa Plateau .

This pavallian is built for Rani roopmati so that she can see and mismerise the beuty of holy narmda river which is 15 Km away (approx ) from here , but the pavallian is built at very high altitude so that Rani can easily see narmda maaiya , also there is a garden 🏡 to spent time in for rani , and one more historical thing here is "juhari khana" when Raja Baaj bahadur is dead in the war of sarangpur all the ladies including rani roopmati of the state has committed suicide by burning their ownself alive in this juharikhana. But it is built very unique and if you visit in morning 🌻 , you will find lots of flowers and 🐦 birds whispering , ☮️ peace 🕊️

Beautiful Architecture, Breathtaking view. You can see the Narmada river flowing in the distance if you look hard enough on a clear day.
The drive is slightly challenging for visitors from out of state not used to the unruly traffic in this entire district. Parking is ample but its management is atrocious. My vehicle was blocked by a very smart person when I came back from the monument. Many many others were as well. Never seen such bad traffic sense, unruly driving and parking sense in 20 Indian states that I have visited. Deducted 1 point from the review due to this experience that needs to improve.

This is a good place to visit in the rainy season and winter season, you will get the proper view from the top of the Mahal. The place is very clean, can't be hygienic. But if you are going to Mandu, visit once.

Maheshwar is a town in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh
It was the kingdom of Chaktavartin Samrat Sahastraarjun, Kartavirya Arjuna a Heheya king. Lately, after many years, it was the capital of the Malwa during the Maratha Holkar reign till 6 January 1818, when the capital was shifted to Indore by Malhar Rao Holkar III.

Also known as the Ahilyeshwar Temple, the aarti here is a definite event to attend. It is situated near Narmada Ghat and is one of the most beautiful examples of simple yet grand architecture of the former Maratha builders. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and was built during the regime of Ahilyabai Holkar. You should explore the nooks and corners of the temple to find out some really beautiful spots and the view of Narmada river.

Saputara Lake is a serene man-made reservoir that offers plenty of opportunities for recreation, including boating and relaxing in tree-shaded areas. The lake is surrounded by picturesque landscapes and provides a clean environment for visitors to enjoy. There are several food stalls nearby where one can grab a quick meal or snack, as well as hotels in close proximity to the lake.

✨ Saputara Lake is the perfect destination for quality family time during the monsoon 🌧️. It's enveloped by lush trees 🌳, and both the lake and garden are well-maintained 🍃. Boating 🚣 is also an option here at a reasonable price, and I highly recommend trying it out. Enjoy a memorable day surrounded by nature at this lovely spot! 🤗

Saputara Lake is the heart of Saputara. Mainly Pedal boats are there, and normal boats are also available. We took the pedal boat as they were in a better condition.
Timing is from 8am to 7pm
I will suggest visiting the lake in the morning (if u have a single day trip) to avoid the harsh sun. During the evening we mostly visit to see the sunset so it will not be manageable, better to go in morning itself.
But if u have 2 evenings then go boating on 1st evening as Lake during evening is mesmerizing!
Charges are fixed around 100 per head
There are many small shops for refreshments around boating ticket counter where you can try lemon soda, tea etc. Kids games and entertainment is available over here.
(2 seater decorated cycle for adults is preferable to ride here as compared to table point, since the road is plain in Boating club area.)

Sunset Point, also known as Gandhi Shikhar, is a popular spot located near Saputara Museum. It offers stunning views of the sunset, Dang Forest, and nearby tribal villages. The best time to visit is from March to November. Visitors can reach the point in 10 minutes using the Ropeway or local transport. Nearby attractions include Vansda National Park and Saputara Museum.
Great Place For Viewing Sunset, I Went Through Rope Way From Table Land Point And Experience Was Amazing, There Are Shops There For Snacks, If U Are Going There Directly By Car Then U Have To Walk Around 1 K.m To Go There Best Way Is Go By Rope Way From Table Land Point.

Sunset Point in Saputara is a breathtaking destination that offers a truly unforgettable experience. As the name suggests, this spot is famous for the spectacular views of the sun setting over the Western Ghats, which creates a stunning display of colors across the sky.
The view from Sunset Point is simply breathtaking, with the surrounding hills and valleys bathed in golden light as the sun sets. Visitors can take in the scenery while relaxing on the benches provided, or opt for a more active experience by taking a short hike to the point.
What's great about Sunset Point is that it is easily accessible and offers something for everyone. Whether you're a nature lover, a photographer, or simply someone who appreciates stunning views, this spot is sure to leave you feeling awe-inspired.
Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Sunset Point in Saputara. It's a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to the area, and offers a truly unforgettable experience. Whether you're planning a romantic evening or a family outing, Sunset Point is sure to be a highlight of your trip.

As the name suggests, it is point to witness the beautiful moment of sun setting down. The shades of different colours appearing on the sky is mesmerizing. Also the aerial view of lake and the town visible from this point is awesome. There are two ways to reach the sunset point, one is through ropeway (which starts from Table point) and other one is by climbing up on the hill. It is almost close to 1 km strenuous climb, the vehicles are not allowed except for the bikes which are provided by the locals on chargeable basis (they charge Rs 100 one way). There are few stalls where water and food are available. For children, there are few recreational stuff such as RC cars, horse rides, etc. There is no entry charge if one decides to climb up while travel through ropeway is chargeable.
It is located on height and we can only go by a walk by hiking on the hill. It will take some time. The view is amazing from there.
Rock Buddy — Google review
Pls don't go there by rope way. Pls don't waste your time & money to come here as Govt Construction work is in progress at present. After reaching at the opposite end, there is restriction to go out. You will not be allowed to go till Sunset point. They are running rope way only to benefit few food stalls here. There is no point visiting here till the time construction is over. They should actually stop running rope way business tilln construction is over. Tourists are misguided.
If you want to visit sunset point, go by road till Toran Ambika hotel of Gujarat tourism. There is parking available at this place. From here you can go by walking to sunset point. But this is advised for those only who can walk on steep heel.
Jagdish Thadani — Google review
Beautiful place to visit and use Ropway to reach there.
Shahid Ahmad — Google review
If you reach there, it is amazing but first you have to reach there. There is a inclined climbing of atleast a km before you reach the top. BTW if you want to go to trolley, this is the same way. Cars are stopped below and then a inclined walk of almost a km to reach the top.
You can take a small self driven scooter for 100/- to reach the top and Rs.50/- if you want to come down on it.
It is a good point and worth to go. Be fit and save money.

The Sunset Point is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Saputara, offering a breathtaking view of the sun setting behind the lush green hills. The point is located at an altitude of approximately 1220 meters above sea level and offers a panoramic view of the Dang forest and the winding roads that lead to the hill station.
The best time to visit Sunset Point is during the late afternoon when the sun is about to set. The view of the orange sun setting behind the hills is truly spectacular and is sure to leave you mesmerized. The serene atmosphere and cool breeze make it a perfect place to unwind and relax after a long day of sightseeing.
There are a few small shops and vendors selling snacks and beverages near the Sunset Point, so you can enjoy some refreshments while taking in the view. Additionally, there are a few benches and seating areas where you can sit and enjoy the view at your leisure.
Overall, the Sunset Point in Saputara is a must-visit attraction for anyone traveling to this beautiful hill station. The stunning view of the sunset and the tranquil surroundings make it a perfect place to unwind and relax in the midst of nature.

Excellent experience. Magnificent structures and views all around. Locals are really not helpful and give all false information. There are a total of 34 caves among which I felt Cave 16 which is the centre one as soon as we enter and Cave 29 which is a bit far are excellent. For cave 16, If you are fit enough try to climb the hill for the top view. En route to Cave 29, you will get a waterfall and the view is really amazing. Even though this is inside, Cave 29 is huge make sure you don't miss it.
It's a holiday on Tuesday(check once before you leave). It will take around 3-4 hours depending on the time you use to take pics. Overall a nice experience.
Note: You won't get food inside only water so make sure you get something to eat. Since the overall duration will be more.

These 34 monasteries and temples, extending over more than 2 km, were dug side by side in the wall of a high basalt cliff, not far from Aurangabad, in Maharashtra. Ellora, with its uninterrupted sequence of monuments dating from A.D. 600 to 1000, brings the civilization of ancient India to life. Not only is the Ellora complex a unique artistic creation and a technological exploit but, with its sanctuaries devoted to Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism, it illustrates the spirit of tolerance that was characteristic of ancient India.

It was a awesome experience visiting this place. The whole experience was just too good. I was taken up by the size of the structure!
The entry and the upkeep of the caves is very good.
We visited all the important caves. All were awesome it is own way. I would suggest you start from South and walk up. Infact of you don't want to walk, they operate a battery car, you can take it.
Whether you take the battery car or not, you will need to walk up the cave. There is no escaping that. The steps are steep.
Plan to spend atleast a day on this. Take enough water.

Looks impossible to achieve in modern times, however it's a reality.
Over the years it has faced invasion, destruction and still it stands strong and shows us the remains of what was one of the best piece of art.

I recently visited the Ellora Caves and was absolutely blown away by their beauty and historical significance. The caves are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Now, is the best time to visit. Only in monsoon you will be able to witness the beautiful waterfalls.
Some Important points:
- Reserve at least 3 hours for the visit.
- Good shoes are must. Please avoid footwear which are not suitable for long walks.
- Electric Vehicle transport (small open bus) are available at extra cost. (Inside)
- Drones are not allowed.
The Kailasa Temple is a monolithic temple that is carved out of a single rock and is one of the largest and most complex rock-cut temples in the world. The Buddhist caves are also notable for their beautiful sculptures, and the Jain caves are the smallest group of caves, but they are still worth visitingI highly recommend visiting the Ellora Caves if you are interested in rich Indian history and culture. They are a truly amazing sight that you will never forget.

Absolutely loved it here.
Contrary to what I had known earlier, this place is HUGE. There are 34 caves with many having A & B, plus there are caves above the waterfall next to cave 29 that no one visits, but I loved the solitude there. Look out for the Ganesh statue in orange in my pictures.
If you are in good shape and want to spend a good 6 hours (not 2 or 3), Ellora is the place to visit, especially if the weather cooperates.
I walked along the golf cart road till Cave 34, and then took the trail from 34 down.

The caves are quite ancient and well preserved with time. The cave right in front of the entrance is really big and beautiful. There's much to explore inside. Many takes are depicted there in the form of rock carvings. Other caves are not as beautiful and attractive as the one at the main entrance. One can go and pay a visit if they really have the capacity and time to roam around under bright sun during day.

Must visit this place with your family and friends. It is very important to know our culture and history. I prefer wearing shoes and caps as there is lots of walking.
Washrooms are available. Almost a whole day is required to visit all the caves. Tour guides are also available there. Ample parking is also available. There are restaurants, shops for souvenirs, eatables, etc. Caves are at distance so there is a lot of walking. There are e-vehicles available at ₹30 per person who has a waiting list so it's time taking. Water bottles, drinking water taps are also available. You can carry eatables inside as well. There are small restaurants and souvenir shops outside the main entrance.

I recently visited Ellora Caves, and it was an awe-inspiring experience that transported me back in time. The intricate rock-cut architecture and the sheer scale of the caves left me breathless.

Ellora caves is one of the good examples for architecture students to study and understand the ancient ways of building great remarkable designs and their thoughts with any modern technology and techniques.
I observed lord Buddha idols on the right and lord Shiva idols on the left, there should be some inner reason to design in this way. One of the good things I found is they are storing water all over the place during rain. We could also see their rain water harvesting.
wheelchair accessible is there for people who can't walk.
EV vehicles are also there connecting all the places inside.

Start from the middle temple where all the scriptures of Hindu God can be seen. Then head towards the right for the best view, where you can see Buddhist status with an old school-like structure with a waterfall from the above. On the left again you can see the Hindu god statues. As usual go with family and enjoy the atmosphere, You must go in the winter or rainy season.
The Shri Ghrushneshwar Mandir is an intricately carved 18th-century Hindu temple made of red stone that is dedicated to the deity Shiva. It is considered one of the 12th Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva and features carvings of all Vishnu Avatars on its shikhar. The temple is located in an underdeveloped area with low crowds, allowing for quick pooja, abhishek, and darshan visits.
The 12 th Jyotirlinga, one of holiest site of Hindu, just nearby Unesco World Heritage site - the Ellora cave. Temple periphery needs a lot of face lifts like paving marble , painting, demolishing saggy stalls of local vendors. Cleaniness seems very poor. Wanted to do abhisekh but price was not wriiten anywhere. Nearby Babaji nirog dham looked better managed than temple. Temple management team must be changed immediately.

Grishneshwar temple, Aurangabad Overview
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Grishneshwar Temple located in Ellora is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. Also known as Ghrneshwar or Dhushmeshwar Temple, this Jyotirlinga in Aurangabad is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is considered an important pilgrimage site. Grishneshwar is the smallest of the Jyotirlingas and is considered the last or the 12th Jyotirlinga of India.
Entry to the Grishneshwar Temple is open to all, but to enter the Garbhagriha (the main sanctum housing the Shiva Linga), men need to be bare-chested. This is also one of the only Jyotirlingas in India where the devotees can touch the Shiva Linga with bare hands.
The temple architecture follows a South Indian Style and it is known to be one of the holiest places to visit in Aurangabad. The five-tiered shikhara of the Grishneshwar Temple is spectacularly carved and constructed in the traditional temple architecture style. Rebuilt several times, the current form temple was built by Queen Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore in the 18th century

One of the 12th Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva. Developments are not that much in the area and even Temple also. Place is not much crowded so we can offer Pooja, Abhishek and Darshan in short time. Curved all Vishnu Avatars on Temple Shikhar. Person must take off his Shirt and Undershirts if wants to visit Garbgruh that can be kept outside of temple/Garbgruh. Devices like Camera, Mobile are not allowed inside the premises as photography is strictly prohibited there. Temple is covered with boundry wall, so even you can't take complete pictures from outside. Private mobile locker facility is also available outside temple, Rs.10 for one mobile.
Very near ie 1KM to heritage site Ellora caves.

It was Saturday, I went in around 6 pm and peacefully came out around 7 pm. As we know it is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temples and it is always a blessing to be there. It is prohibited to enter with mobiles so there are shops available beside the entrance where we can keep our mobiles safely, we paid Rs.10 per mobile. But we noticed a few people carrying mobile phones so we asked them to click our pictures and gave them our contact details so that they could send the pictures to us. Men are supposed to remove the upper body clothes and carry them while entering the temple.
I stayed at a decent hotel nearby and found a couple of good restaurants nearby as well, check my other reviews to know more.

The 12th jyotirlinga temple. This is very close to Ellora caves around 1 km. Queue is less around 3-3:30 pm. There is pay and park service available right outside the temple. Flowers and bel leaves are allowed. Dhatura and banana flower are not allowed. No photography allowed inside the temple. As soon as the queue ends and we enter temple, males need to remove the upper body clothes. i.e., shirt and vest and tie around waist and then only enter. We get to touch the shivling and offer flowers.

Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple is an ancient shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, amongst the 12 Jyotirlingas situated all over India. It is also known as Ghraneshwar or Ghushmeshwar Temple.
This temple is about 31 km away from the main city. It is located in a Verul city, a city which is known for a very famous Ellora caves. These caves are just a 1 km away from this temple.
The old temple structure was destroyed by the Delhi Sultanate in 13th and 14th-century. It was re-constructed by Maloji Raje Bhosale, grandfather of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and later again by the Queen of Indore, Ahilyabai Holkar in the 18th century.
This beautiful temple structure is made up of red coloured stones and it is an illustration of Maratha temple architectural style and structure. It has a 5-layered tall shikhara and several pillars which bear intricate mythological carvings. The exterior of the temple also has a carvings and sculptures of many Hindu gods and goddesses on it.
This jyotirling temple is the smallest Jyotirlinga temple in India.

The most devine place I experienced in my life.
Honestly, I was experiencing a divine light in my heart for almost three days. I heared that, a jyotirling touches you at your AAGYAA CHAKRAA if you have a devotion at your heart and, veryfirst time I experienced it at my personal level.
My temple experience was amazing. I was there for two complete days and performed Rudrabhishek also. Honestly I can say this is one among a few places where you may not feel cheated at any level. They allow bhakts to go directly in the garbh-grih to touch the jyotirlinga and perform pooja. For interested devotees, Rudrabhishek pooja is also available which is performed by 11 ved-paathi brahmans for almost an hour. Which gives a total divine experience if you are a true devotee. The crowd is limited and you do not need to wait in a lond queue. Anyone can expect to finish his pooja maximum within 30 mins.
Brahmins are so honest and gentlemen that I felt worthy to touch their feet and also to take their blessings. They do not demand any money at any level. You can stay within the premises and in temple as per your wish.
Outside the temple, flower vendors and mobile lockers are available because leather things like belt, wallet, and mobile phones are not allowed. These vendors charge just 5 Rs to keep these all things safely.
One more tradition, that a male person needs to remove his upper body clothes while darshan. Ladies are not bounded with any such rules and this is because of following the old tradition.
In Ghrishneshwar only any one may find an economic home stay within the range of Rs. 600/- to 1200/-.
Sambhajinagar is the nearest famous city to this place. Along with darshan of Jyotirling, you can also take the darshan of "BHADRA MARUTI" in Khultabaad and world famous heritage site ELLORA. In Ellora, Kailash Temple is made with single stone which is worth watching.
At the last, I would suggest everyone to visit this Jyotirling at least once in life time. Specially who are having LEO as their jodiac sign.
Jai Shree Ram

For 40 minutes, before entered in Garbhgrih we took off our upper clothes of body due to the temple rules which is for male. The day was Crowded but no rush in Garbhgriha, we took good time their.
It's not necessary for male to wear dhoti for worship there but don't wear clothes upper part of body.

The buddhist temple Aurangabad caves are a fantastic attraction in the city of Aurangabad. The complex of 12 caves was carved out of soft basalt rock and date back to 6th or 7th century AD. The Ajanta caves, one of the most popular attractions in the complex, are a magnificent structure that depicts different stages of Lord Buddha. The cave is also a UNESCO world heritage site and is safe for children to visit.

The place is so beautiful and calming, the people who work there are good at their job and helpful.
They have good maintenance of the outside area of the caves.
But the government should know and understand that these historical monuments are precious and need to be taken care of. These monuments give each city an identity and thus give value to our nation.
The caves are not at all maintained from the inside, It smells dirty and also the walls are getting more dirty and infectious. There are statues of Our supreme Buddha which are not properly maintained and there are no rules for visitors to showcase respect towards those statues.
People who take photographs are so disrespectful towards the place and statues.
I think people should learn to show some respect towards our monuments which showcase our history.

Very interesting place!
There's an open ground at the base of the hill, so ample parking available. There's a washroom before you start climbing the hill, no facilities in the caves, so be mindful.
The caves sit atop the hill, the stairs lead to them. The panaromic view of the city from the top is gorgeous.
Like all rock cut places, this cave also has a calming, chill feel to it. The caves are not lit, so the main attraction - the massive Buddha statue with the disciples - sits in dark. I'd have really appreciated if there were a few guides who'd explain the carvings on the walls. Some of them did get spike my curiosity.
Clearly, there's been a lot of patch work done to make it tourist friendly. But nonetheless, it's a nice place to visit and spend a couple of hours.

Aurangabad Cave Temple. Jesus, Mohammed were not born yet. India was home to pure Indians. They follow the teachings of Hinduism , Buddhism and Jainism, three of the world's oldest religions. The mythology of those days described 'Devgiri' as the abode of the gods. The muni sages of the three religions lived in the beautiful coniferous forest of that beautiful mountain. It is written in the Shiva Purana that sometimes even Mahadev himself used to visit that land. In harmony with all religions, the mountains used to chant Sanskrit and Pali verses. The Buddhist caves of Aurangabad are contemporary with Ellora and Ajanta, but how much do we know about them? In Devgiri (Aurangabad) our ancestors built twelve stone-cut Buddhist temples on a hill extending from east to west near the city. The hill is also formed from volcanic lava, but experts say the Aurangabad Buddhist caves were excavated from relatively soft basalt rock in the 6th and 7th centuries. The Great Chaitya Cave Inscription of Kanheri Cave mentions Aurangabad Cave. Of the 12 caves, caves numbered 1-6 are named the "Western Group", 7-9 the "Eastern Group" and the three unfinished caves 10-12 the "Northern Cluster". Cave number 4 among them is Chaitya Stupa. The caves hidden in the green hills are beautiful to see from a distance. The architectural styles of the Aurangabad caves include deities and stupas of the Hinayana, Mahayana and Vajrayana architectural styles. In some of the Buddhist caves, you can find statues of several Hindu deities including Durga, Ganesha, as well as numerous Tantric Buddhist deities. When I saw the seven matrika idols in the Vajrayana cave, I first thought they were Hindu idols, but later I heard that they were Tantric Buddhist goddesses.
The caves are not very big in size, a bit dilapidated and maybe neglected as comparatively few tourists visit. Carved in the Sihyachal range, the Aurangabad caves may have been somewhat overshadowed by the influence of the great names of the Ellora and Ajanta cave temples. Although its sculptures are comparable to those of Ajanta and Ellora. The cave temples of Aurangabad, carved between the 6th and 7th centuries, are located about nine kilometers from Aurangabad city centre.
Must visit place along with Ajanta and Ellora caves.

The Bibi Ka Maqbara is a mausoleum in Rabia-Ul-Daurani's memory, built by Aurangzeb in the mid 1600s. The building has a striking resemblance to the Taj Mahal and is a beautiful example of Mughal architecture. The carvings on the facade and around the grounds are worth taking note of.
Amazing architecture and a heritage situated so close to City.
Dedicated massive parking space is available which is a plus point.

On a November afternoon, we explored Bibi Ka Maqbara. The pleasant weather added to the enjoyment of our sightseeing experience. Despite the site's rich history, there's a noticeable lack of respect for its heritage, evident in the poor maintenance. Extensive renovations have altered some of its original art, although the interior dome remains a captivating sight. The overall experience would have been more delightful if the water fountains and sprinklers were operational. Fortunately, the entrance tickets are reasonably priced at Rupees 25 for individuals aged 15 and above, while those aged 15 and under can enter for free.

Shooting is not allowed inside where the Tomb of Bibi is placed. Nice pleasant place but needs to be maintained regularly. Visit it but don't make it dirty by throwing waste here and there. Use dustbin placed there.

The Bibi-Ka-Maqbara known as Mini Taj is a beautiful mausoleum constructed by Prince Azam Shah in memory of his mother during 1651 to 1661 A.D. Rabia-ul-Daurani alias Dilras Banu Begum, the wife of the Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb. This construction was in memory of Azam Shah's mother and considered a replica of Taj Mahal.
It is just 10 kms from aurangabad station and is a nice place to tour within the city.
Tickets ₹25 each. If you book online it would be a bit cheaper.
It's open till 6 pm and under lights it looks even more beautiful.
Best time to tour Aurangabad is from August- February.

Must visit place if you are travelling to Aurangabad. Its in the town its self. Ticket charges are adding down (attaching pictures). It's similar like Taj Mahal but only base are made of white marble. Even the doors and windows are curved from marble.
There is a pay and park space. Better visit evening before sunset. Then you can enjoy the lighted view of the tomb also you will take some pictures when sunlight is there.

Amazing architecture and a heritage situated so close to City.
Dedicated massive parking space is available which is a plus point.
Some restoration work is going on but it would need some more attention from administration to keep the place maintained.
Sadly we have our lovers who for unknown reason loves to carve their names in these walls wishing it would keep relationship long,,,

Immense Beautiful and amazing pleasure and soothens the eyes when u first see it. Doesn't matter how many times one has watched in movies or pictures. The real one stands tall and gorgeous. Must visit.

Historically valued, but not maintained well. Everywhere people feel the need to take dramatic poses and snaps. Kids running around, standing/leaning on parapets. It spoils the entire aura of the place and shows the utter disrespect we Indians, as a society, have for historically significant monuments.
farroakh bamji — Google review
Visited this place on 15th Aug, 2023, i.e. Public Holiday. So there was a huge crowd, really, very heavy crowd, as it was the time of monsoon too.
Important points:
•> There is a huge crowd, primarily compromising of the local peoples, but there is only one ticket counter, and about 500 m long line. Quite disappointing. So it's a good decision to pay online through QR code beside the ticket counter. They give ₹5 discount if paid online. So the ticket which usually costs Rs. 25, costs Rs. 20, and you save time.
•> There are huge parks around, to wonder and spend time with your closed ones. Also the mountains all around give a wholesome vibe. There is a small temple on one of the peak with a big indian flag which looks so damn beautiful.
•> You will not take much time to visit this place completely. It can be completed in 1 hour if you have other plans too. Like visiting the soneri mahal, which is at little distance from this place. Google map can help if you decide to walk.
•> Kindly control your children as the railings on the side of the platform of maqbara is not very strong, so sitting on them is prohibited too. Beware of falling on stairs due to the crowd.
Don't pollute the place kindly. Be responsible and enjoy.

Architecture is nice. Ticket is very low which is good. Huge parking spaces available. That is also good. It's just replica of Taj Mahal and well built. Huge area is around where garden is there but it needs some maintenance.
There are some guides available. Don't go for it. Those guys are bluff masters.
When you enter the architecture you'll notice that have the building is made up of marble and half his medical plaster. Try to visit in the evening time. It's more beautiful with light effects.

It's a historical place. But not maintained properly. Property is in damaged state. Night view is more beautiful. Guide charged RS. 200 for just 5 min of information and that too already written there. Place has a significant role in history but extra care should be taken to maintain it.

Good historic place but due to our government negligence this place will be worse in the next 10-15 years. But after comparing our fort condition this place maintenance is a little bit good. Good location. The surroundings are good. Beautiful nature senary. Pay and park available. Security system at gate is good.

Surroundings are well maintained but the outer structure has bad patches due to weather conditions. No digital payments are accepted to buy tickets and its only cash.
Vinayak Nilajkar — Google review
It's more like the Taj than you'd expect. There are beautiful gardens on all sides - shaded and quiet.
Be sure to get a view of the monument from the back. Not sure if the marble and plaster have stayed whiter or the light hits it differently - but it is even more etheral and beautiful.
Prepare for it to be hot, though some part of the monument itself offers shade at all times of day.
Bibi ka maqbqrq is located within the Aurangabad city area. Popularly it is caleed mini switzerland . Main Taj was built by Emperor Shahjahan for his wife Momtaj and bibi ka Maqbara is built by Son of Shajahan, Aurangazeb for his wife Rabia Durrani. and grandson Azam Shah. It is designed by Ataullah son of Lohari who designed Tajmahal. The main tomb is surounded by spledid garden and fountain . There are fourmineretes and a stair leading to first floor. There is door from where tomb of the is seen from top.

This is a miniature Taj Mahal land is reasonably impressive. It is worth visiting however is a bit run down and needs some TLC. Clearly it must have been very impressive when built. It is close to the city and cost 300 rupees for entrance.

I would recommend visiting this monument during the Sunset time so you could get both day view and the night view with lights. This place has proper pay and park facility. Would recommend you to book your entry tickets online through Archeological survey of india website/app to save time and money.

It's a must visit if you are in Aurangabad, it's a replica of the Taj Mahal. It's a commemoration of Aurangzeb's wife Dilras banu from her son. ASI charges you around 25 rs per head, and for cameras there is another charge of 25 but not for mobile. The vicinity is beautiful and has many mango trees you will recall Taj Mahal many a times
Dwarkamai is a sacred destination for devotees of Sai Baba in Shirdi, India. This humble mosque and pilgrimage site was once the home of the revered religious leader, and it continues to draw crowds seeking blessings and fulfillment of their wishes. The temple's atmosphere brims with divine happiness that visitors can feel as they step inside. Dwarkamai houses a rock that Sai Baba used to sit on, making it an important part of his legend.
Dwarka temple is a very nice place. Where there is a crowd of devotees. Devotees come here to fulfill their wishes. Devotee Shri Sai Baba fulfills their wishes. Fills the bags of his devotees with happiness.

It was a mosque named by a Hindu Name "Dwarakamai" by Saibaba where Saibaba used to stay. It is a symbol of Hindu Muslim Unity. Saibaba used to spend some time here in their daily routine. They also enlightened a dhuni (a kind of bonfire) which is burning till today. The ashes of this dhuni known as udi is given to devotees as Saibaba's Prasad which he also used to give to his believers then. Some accessories of daily use of Saibaba are kept here. A stone on which he used to sit is also placed here.

SaiBaba's Dhuni is here! The same Dhuni started by Sai Baba is burning here from 183 years approximately. It's a nice experience to see the place where all the miracles (mentioned in Sai Satcharita and Sai leela magazines) took place first hand.
The only draw back is that Dhuni is fully enclosed in steel mesh and we need to struggle to see the embers.

Dwarkamai is the most important place to see by every devotee. In the entrance left side we saw the sai baba cooking place and sai baba's hand resting place on the wall. We observe that 3 feet of one wooden stick of sai baba.
After that we saw the dhuni covered with grills. In the past we touched and some grains were put in the dhuni but we con't touch it.
We saw all the items of sai baba used. Please observe the deepam holes on the wall of dwarkmai. Sai baba lights the lamps with water when no one gives the oil that night.
At last we saw the sai baba sitting stone covered with glass We touched it on the glass and pray for peace of mind.

Dwarkamai :
Dwarkamai is a place where Sai Baba lived until the very end of his life. Before Sai Baba’s arrival in Shirdi, this place used to be a mosque in poor conditions. Later, Sai turned it into Dwarkamai where he started healing, curing ill people. He solved all their problems and helped them with solutions to their worries.
Here at Dwarkamai, there are two levels. Level one has two rooms with Sai’s portrait and a huge rock on which he used to sit. While level two has a square shaped stool made of stone, which Sai is believed to have used for bathing. The highlight of Dwarkamai is an oil painting of Sai Baba in which he is sitting on a wooden carved shrine.
Location: Pimpalwadi Road, Rahata, Near Samadhi Mandir.
Timings: Monday to Sunday - 5:30 am to 9:45 pm.

Dwarkamai is one of the treasures of Shirdi for the devotees. They say that Dwarkamai is the heart of Shirdi, the place where the great Sai Baba spent a significant part of his life including his last moments. It is a treasure to all of Baba's devotees because it was the home of, as they like to call him, God on Earth. People of all faiths look up to the great Sai Baba and truly believe in what he preached. The spirit of tolerance, acceptance and welcome is very much alive here.

Sai Baba’s early years are a mystery. Most accounts mention his birth as a Hindu Brahman and his subsequent adoption by a Sufi fakir, or mendicant. Later in life he claimed to have had a Hindu guru. Sai Baba arrived in Shirdi, in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, about 1858 and remained there until his death in 1918.
At first denounced by the villagers of Shirdi as a madman, by the turn of the century Sai Baba had a considerable following of Hindus and Muslims, attracted by his compelling teachings and his performance of apparent miracles, which often involved the granting of wishes and the healing of the sick. He wore a Muslim cap and for the better part of his life lived in an abandoned mosque in Shirdi, where he daily kept a fire burning, a practice reminiscent of some Sufi orders. Yet he named that mosque Dvarakamai, a decidedly Hindu name, and is said to have had substantial knowledge of the Puranas, the bhagvatgita, and various branches of Hindu thought. Sai Baba’s teachings often took the form of paradoxical parables and displayed both his disdain for the rigid formalism that Hinduism and Islam could fall prey to and his empathy for the poor and diseased.
Shirdi is a major pilgrimage site, and other spiritual figures like Upasani Baba and Meher baba credited the teachings of Sai Baba. In the late 20th and early 21st century Sathya Sai Baba claimed to be his incarnation.

Blessed by the grace of Sai Ram, we finally got the chance to visit Shirdi. Mobile phones are not allowed inside Shri Saibaba Darshan Queue complex. Mobile locker available at Rs 5 per mobile and free shoe, chappal stands available. Before heading to the mandir on the street, kindly navigate your way through the situation with a polite deflection from any unnecessary purchases. As I stood in line for Darshan, the sight of Sai Baba's idol filled me with a sense of peace and gratitude. The rhythmic chants during Aarti echoed through the sacred space, creating an atmosphere of devotion that enveloped the entire SaiNagar. The complex was so beautifully well maintained and clean. Very pleased to visit The Dixit Wada Museum. Baba’s robe, clothes, chappals, water pots, grinder and other artifacts are so well conserved. Thanks to Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust for their hardwork and commitment. Next to Samadhi mandir there is Gurusthan, sacred Neem tree, Ganesh mandir, Shani mandir, Shiva Lingam, Nanda deep, Baba’s followers samadhi inside the complex. Also visited Dakshin mukhi Hanuman Mandir, Dwarkamai, Dhuni, Shree Chavadi which are located nearby but outside the complex. Lastly explored nearby sansthan shops to buy Prasad. Purchased some gift items from nearby wholesale shops. At evening we visited the beautiful and picturesque “I Love Saibaba” garden. Om Sai Ram.

Had good dharshan for all the 3 days. We booked for Shej Aarti in advance. We were one of the early birds and waited in line among the first 30 devotees. When we reached the entrance they stopped us for 10 minutes. Once we were allowed inside we were surprised that the hall is jam packed with devotees. But we managed to get a good Dharshan. The guards are breaking the line on their whims. Because of that Late comers in the line are getting priority. Instead of FIFO it is LCFO. At least some senior persons in their hierarchy should supervise line control. Man proposes and God disposes🙏🙏🙏

We had reached the temple in early morning. That date was 26/12/2021.
It was very cold environment on that day.
First we searched for washrooms for taking baths and brushes, etc.
After that we get into the row of entry in temple.
That was too much long line for darshan
We reached at entry point but we didn't took entry pass, so guards removed us from this row.
After that we decided to took Mukh Darshan of Sai Mandir....
Mukh Darshan is an another entry into temple less row.
But from mukh darshan you are not Able to see Statue of Sai Baba from near.
We tooked darshan from a distance and purchased some prasad for home.
That was an interesting thing happened with us.
I really enjoyed it.

After getting my blood donation certificate i straight went to gate 02 for vip entry , upon reaching the gaurd said there is no entry from here , you need to go to gate 06 which is a paid darshan gate. Its really disappointing and misleading where on the banner it mentioned FREE VIP ENTRY and the donars are routed to gate 06 .I was on empty stomach and wanted to skip the long queue after the blood donation . Appreciate and request to change the term FREE VIP ENTRY for FREE PAID DARSHAN against BLOOD DONATION . With SAI BABA'S blessings i was able to get through the queue and get his darshan .

The pandavleni caves are a prime attraction of tourists even foreigners. These are the caves where Pandavs held shelter during their vanvas in the age of Mahabharata. There are around 20 caves here. They have inscriptions on caves. Also there are ancient made sculptures in them. It is a proof of our divine and great history.
Tushar Patil — Google review
The caves, known as Trirashmi Buddhist Caves (erroneously known as Pandav Caves) were carved out from the 1st century BCE until the 3rd century CE, with later additions of sculptures.[5] They were paid for by local Buddhist royalty, merchants and local people for the Buddhist monks. The name is derived from the word "Tiranhu" which is inscribed in the Caves.[6][7] It means "rays of sunlight" which is quite obvious referring to the rays of sunlight emerging from behind the Caves as seen from the village. These caves were carved and donated by various kings that ruled Nashik - The Satavahanas, The Nahapanas, The Abhirs. The caves lodge idols of Buddha and Bodhisattva. Some caves are intricately connected by stone-cut ladders that join them to the other caves. Steps lead to the caves from the bottom of the hill. The peak of the Trirashmi Caves is also accessible by trekking of about 20 mins but the path is well built with steps.[8]

The Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling Mandir is an ancient and visually pleasing Hindu temple dedicated to the god Shiva. It boasts a sacred pond that is believed to be the origin of the Godavari River. The carvings on the walls, stairs, and doorway are of high quality and can be admired in peace due to fewer pilgrims during Covid times.

Holy worship temple of Lord Shiva, situated at an amazing hill location.
Don't fall in trap of 2 km away parking and paying extra to policemen outside, the free parking is available inside and from that parking spot, the temple is only 300 meters away.
Separate counter for VIP entry is available which charges 200/- per person (recommended as there is a lot of rush).
The general entry encompasses of 4 big halls but very good arrangements are already made such as sitting, water etc. for the people standing in lines.
Outside the temple, everything is available from restaurants to urinals.
The weather of this place is very amazing and the scenery is mesmerizing.

Peaceful place to visit. Roads to temple are nice.
There are two option to visit, free or paid. I suggest to take paid one, as it is less crowded.
Parking is available around 500m away from temple. Many restaurants and hotels available near by. Weekend is usually crowded.

We came from the paid queue and even their the waiting was more than 3 hours. The management is really very bad. They did not even provide water to drink for people in the queue. Overall the temple is just amazing and worth the wait actually. But we’re not allowed to see the lord for even 5 secs the security was pushing people no matter male or females.

This is a sacred place located in Nashik. It is one of the 12 Jyotirling in India. There are two types of entry in the temple, one with the general queue which is free and the other where you could buy tickets for 200 per person. You do not need to buy prior tickets but can buy from the ticket counter located near to the temple.

Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling Mandir is a sacred place that I had the privilege of visiting. This ancient temple holds great significance as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. The serene atmosphere and architectural beauty of the temple left me in awe.
The temple's intricate carvings and traditional design are a testament to the rich cultural heritage of the region. The sanctity and spirituality that permeate the air create a deeply profound experience for devotees and visitors alike.
Located in the scenic town of Trimbak, Maharashtra, the temple is nestled amidst lush greenery and surrounded by the majestic Brahmagiri Hills. The natural beauty that surrounds the temple adds to the overall aura of tranquility.
The visit to Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling Mandir was not just a religious journey but also an opportunity for inner reflection and peace. It is a place where one can connect with spirituality and experience a sense of divine presence.
Whether you are a religious pilgrim or someone seeking a serene and spiritual atmosphere, Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling Mandir offers a sacred and memorable experience that leaves a lasting impression on one's soul.

Temple trust should allow payment for Rs. 200 darashan tickets using UPI or any digital payment method, only accepting cash is something that should be avoided. Vendors shops outside temple are accepting digital payment, but why temple authority is not allowing digital payment is hard to understand.
otherwise all facilities are quite good. but small change can bring in lot of convenience to pilgrims 🙏.

Very aesthetically created temple. Thanks to very few pilgrims in the early morning, esp during Covid, one way able to spend time admiring the high quality carvings on the facade, the walls, the stairs and doorway. It was funny to see the priests, out of sheer habit, rushing the devotees even if there was no one behind them.
Wish there was an audio guide.

I recently visited the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling Temple in Nashik, Maharashtra, India and it was an incredible experience! The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India.🙏
In Every Jotirlinga you will see only Lord Mahadev but at this place you will see Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh in One temple and in One linga. Such a peaceful place.🌄🛕
The temple is located in a scenic area surrounded by hills and a river, adding to its beauty. You can go with donation queue by paying ₹200 but in this line too you will get a little bit time for darshan rather than general queue.👥👥
The origin of Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga dates back to ancient times. It is believed that the temple was built by the Pandavas during the Mahabharata era. According to Hindu mythology, the Godavari River originates from the Brahmagiri Mountains, and Lord Shiva himself resides in the form of Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga at the source of the river. The temple has undergone several renovations and restorations over the years.
It's definitely a must-visit if you're in Maharashtra and looking for a spiritual and cultural experience! 🙏🏼✨

This temple is one of the Jyotirlinga and Kumbh is also conducted here . Located in the town of Trimbakeshwar must visit place for Hindus and all having faith in the religion. Almost drive of 40 min from Nasik , beautiful highway with good eating places all the way. this temple is situated in the foothills of Brahmagiri hills and it is said that river Godavari originates from here. Very old structure made up of stones and carved intricate sculptures. To have darshan of Linga, mirrors are placed above it on the back of wall to enable devotees to see deity. Thjis temple is always heavily crowded by devotees and you need to stand in queue for long time or you buy VIP pass for Rs 200/- per person to bypass queue. then also you need to wait for almost an hour. You need to Bribe pandits if you wish to perform puja or have clear darshan. Inside also the behave of pandits and caretakers behave is very disappointing as they are rude and keep pushing you. Need to be managed in befitting way. Outside the temple is big market selling all type of items. But the area is not very well maintained. Parking is available but you need to park at some distance and walk almost a KM. local area is very dirty and not pleasing to eyes, as it is famous religious place and historical temple. But you feel divine after visiting this place.

The darshan experience was divine. The temple has historical importance.
There are ample of stay options near and around the temple. We got affordable option of rs 650/-for a night. Do carry your id cards for stay in a nice place.
There are many varieties of food eateries on the street too and nice restaurants too.
The streets are filled with multiple and affordable shopping options. We need to bargain a bit to get the best price.
Only issue we faced was of mosquitoes. So do carry Odmos Or any other mosquito repellent with you to avoid the mosquito bites. Hope the local authorities look in the matter of cleaning the streets too!!

One of the twelve jyotirlings of Lord Shiva.
A very well maintained, ancient temple complex with multiple entry gates.
One needs to wait in line for darshan, but it is worthwhile as there is a huge mirror above Shivlingam so that everyone can do a proper darshan.
There are many eating places and souvenir shops nearby.

hat is your experience at Darshan in the Trimbakeshwar Temple?
What is perfect way to visit a Shiva temple and approach the shivling (the technicalities, plase dont say bhakti, etc, that's obvious) as per the scriptures (what to wear, what mantras to chant, order of deities to be worshipped, etc)?
I hear you.
There are, certainly, rules or factors that are dear to God and compatible with the Shiva Puja, especially those that are ritualistic and done in temples or in one’s puja. my answer is going to be long and comprehensive, but please go through it, so, that I can provide all the necessary information and points.
You can do anything in Bhakti, where no rituals are being followed. But no temple visit or ritual worship is exempt from ideal and expected conduct.
Before entering the temple, keep yourself bodily and mentally pure. Head bath and clean clothing. You better not have eaten any profane food at least one or two days before, like meat, intoxicants like alcohol etc. But being on Satwika Bhojana always is best. (Brahmacharya is good too, but optional, be as Satwika/pious in body and mind as possible)
White colour / Subhra Barna/ शुभ्र बर्ण is dear to Mahadeva. So, white clothing and offering of white flowers is good. Dress in ethnic wear if you can, like dhoti or saree. First, offer Namaskara to Nandi Deva with some Bilwa Patra and flowers. State your desire and respect for him and Shiva in his ears.
Strike the bell or Mandira Ghanti. It is like calling bell or doorbell of his house :-)
After bowing down, offer the first prayer to Lord Ganesha. Because Mahadeva has given him the Prathama Pujya (First to be worshipped before any Puja) power. He will take away any hurdles to your worship and make your prayers or intentions successful.

निर्बिघ्नम कुरु मे देव सर्ब कार्येशु सर्बदा |
Bakratundam Mahakayam Suryakoti Samaprabham
Nirbighnam Kuru Mein Deva Sarba Karyeshu Sarbada.
I assume you know the meaning of the mantra, if not, put in comments if you do want me to add the meaning. Knowing correct pronunciation as well as the meaning of the Mantra is necessary.
Then proceed first to offer your prayer devotion to Shiva, then Parvati, then both of them together. Start with a Shiva Dhyana Mantra. It does the ice breaking and connecting part.

It's one of the popular and worth the hype kind of one day monsoon gateaway near Mumbai.
Basically a ghat which has a series of waterfalls (small and big) enroute to Pune/Ahmednagar from Murbad/Kalyan.
You can park your vehicle aside on the road and enjoy the scenic picturesque beauty. Also there are multiple photography points to caputure the beautiful landscape of clouds covering the mountains in valley. There are multiple shops for Maggi and Tea/Coffee.
To stayover there are multiple resorts nearby and network over here can be an issue so please carry cash.
Best time to visit is during monsoon and one may start early in the morning to avoid crowd. It might be a dissappointment if it's sunny so better to check weather forecast before heading out to this place.

This is a must place to visit in monsoon possibly with your own vehicle. But make sure before visiting that the Ghat is not closed due to landslides. We have visited number of times, but again visited on 1st July-2023. The climate was pleasant, excitement starts the moment you cross Murbad. Taking halt on ghat at various places to enjoy waterfalls and getting wet in it is a common activity. Eating street foods like Bhajias, Maggi, Omelette, corn with tea adds feather to the cap. Final destination is MTDC resort point and having lunch etc at Flamingo Restaurant. We were walking in the clouds and visibility was nothing beyond 15/20 feet. If there are no clouds, you can see a reverse waterfall from here. Overall a experience not to be missed.
Precautions: Do not carry any alcoholic beverages, there is always a Police check and alcohol is not allowed. Be careful when you go under waterfalls and or enter springs as stones are slippery.

Must visit place for nature lovers. All Your fantasies of waterfalls will be met. There is no long Trek to waterfalls as some even drop literally on the road itself cleaning the vehicle for free. Sundays are really crowded. My advice is to avoid it. All kinds of waterfalls are present. There is even a reverse waterfall where due to heavy wind water never reaches the ground but is swept away by wind. Truly mesmerizing scene to watch if you have never seen one before. Some waterfalls have steel barbed wires stopping any stones from falling. My advice is to go to such waterfalls to get wet and enjoy the water. Parking is not an issue for both cars and bikes. A large number of restaurants are available. Roadside eateries selling tea, Maggie, corn and whatnot are plenty in number that too at a very reasonable price. You can't count the total number of waterfalls as there are really too many of them in all shapes and sizes. Kids , old and young everyone will enjoy.

I visited the Ranjangaon Ganpati Temple, one of the eight Ashtavinayak temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed god of wisdom and success. The temple is located in the village of Ranjangaon, about 50 km from Pune. The temple is very ancient and has a rich history and legend associated with it. The temple is said to be the place where Lord Shiva invoked Lord Ganesha before defeating the demon Tripurasura. The idol of Lord Ganesha here is known as Mahaganapati, the most powerful form of Ganesha, with 10 trunks and 20 hands. The idol is very impressive and awe-inspiring. The temple complex is well-maintained and has a peaceful atmosphere. The temple also has a beautiful garden with various plants and flowers. The temple is open from 5:30 am to 10:00 pm and offers various services and facilities for the devotees. The temple is easily accessible by road and has parking space

Mahaganpati is one of the hindu gods who is considered to be the big and powerful gods as he defeated and killed Tarakasur the enemy of god once for all. This ganpati temple is situated in Ranjangaon (Pune district) that have quite big and enough space for its followers and worshippers to pray, and devote their time in front of this great deity. The temple is quite old and built around 9th or 10th century. It has a solid rock structure throughout the temple premises that looks like it is built during peshawa tenure. Overall it was a pleasant experience to visit this temple.

A very very holy place and one of the idols from Ashtavinayaka.. Its believed to be created by Lord Shiva. We started our journey from Wagholi, approx 35kms from Wagholi. Road is good, we can enjoy the ride, lots of Dhabas and petrol pumps one can see while heading there. Inside there are many small temples of Lord Shiva and other Gods also there is a beautiful garden which was there, but unfortunately it was closed at the time of visit. Cleanliness and maintainance could be better. GANPATI BAPPA MORYA...

Ranjangaon Ganpati is one among the Ashtavinayak, celebrating eight instances of legends related to Ganesha. This temple's Ganpati idol was inaugurated and donated by the "Khollam" family, a goldsmith family based in Ranjangaon. The temple was built between the 9th and 10th century. The main temple looks like it was built in the Peshwa period. Nagarkhana is situated above the entrance gate. The temple facing east has huge and beautiful entrance gate.
Madhavrao Peshwa made a room in the basement of the temple to keep the idol of lord Ganesh. Later on Sardar Kibe of Indore renovated it. The idol of these lord Ganesh is also named as 'Mahotkat', and it is said that the idol has 10 trunks and 20 hands.
While going from the Pune - Nagar highway the route is Pune - Koregaon - then via Shikrapur; Rajangaon is 21 km before Shirur. From Pune it is 50 km.
In early 1990s, Govt of Maharashtra established an industrial zone (MIDC) on the land acquired from the nearby villages and the industrial establishment is known as Ranjangaon MIDC. It host many multinational manufacturing companies like Whirlpool, LG to name a few.

The temple is good 👍 fill positive➕ vibes😎. But the security guards from SB security are very bad👎👎 they don't respect people from free line. Give priority to people with 100 ₹ tickets🎟. The lady guard and boy inside temple don't give time for 🙏pray use bad language. Not clean when many people visit.

One of the Ashtvinayak located near Pune, the premises is right on the highway and has 2 parking spaces. One on the left of entry and one after you go through the main gate.
The premises were under construction when I visited and I didn't like the crowd management queue system.
The way to go to the main temple was very confusing.
After you are done with the darshan, to pick your slippers, you have to go through the security part again and then come back extra.
There is a park in the premises which is nice for kids or families to sit and relax.
On the outskirts, you have a market to buy local stuff like vegetables, eatables etc.

We visited the place after 7pm. Just a day before Ram mandir inauguration. There was no crowd. But the entire temple was busy with decorations for the following day. It was nice to watch the preparations. However , coming to Lord Ganapathi ,one cannot take eyes off this Lord, I found it simple yet mesmerizing. It's premises has beautiful paintings narrating the tales of Ganapathi.

One of the lord ganpati in the list of ashtavinayak temples. Maha means big. Many people visit daily. It's situated just near the Pune-Nagar highway so no extra travel is required to reach the temple. Huge parking area but it's paid. A huge entrance area and structure will be identified from the main road. One extra building is added just to manage the crowd. They allow us to skip lanes by paying Rs.100 per person, this is little convenient for rich people. Not a good posture in the temple all should be treated the same. Some of the stone structure and pictorial things made. But disappointed with the management when they are not allowing them to see them and see other things like the garden and entrance part of the main temple. The temple has a big history but manageable is not up to mark. Must visit place with your family members and friends. Avoid the weekend to avoid the rush.

It is a really old and special place dedicated to Lord Ganpati. It's located in a small village and has been around for a long, long time. This temple is so cool that it's even been featured in some Marathi movies!
As one of the Ashtavinayak temples dedicated to Lord Ganpati, Mahaganapati Temple holds a special place in the hearts of devotees. The temple itself is super impressive, with lots of cool carvings and symbols on the walls. When you go inside, you feel really calm and peaceful, like Ganpati's watching over you.
People come to Mahaganapati Temple to pray to Lord Ganpati and ask for his blessings. It's a really important place for them, and you can feel the love and devotion in the air.
Visiting Mahaganapati Temple isn't just about saying prayers; it's also about feeling connected to something special and taking a moment to think quietly. It's a place where you can find peace and feel close to Ganpati.

#5th Ganpati temple to visit as per the traditional Ashtavinyak Dharshan.
The Ashtavinayak Yatra involves visiting 8 Ganpati Temples in a particular sequence. Shree Chintamani Temple in Theur comes at the 5th position in the sequence.
The original construction of the temple is undated. The current state of the temple was mainly constructed by descendants of Moraya Gosavi.
‘Chintamani’ is another name given to Lord Ganesha, as Ganesha helped in getting rid of Brahma’s worries.
The temple is always filled with devotees. One might stand in a queue and take about 30-40 minutes for darshan. The temple is near to Pune, mostly 20-25 kms depending where one stays in Pune.
Visit the temple and get rid of your worries by the blessings of Lord Ganesha !

Shree Chintamani Vinayak Ganapati Temple Theur is a Hindu religious temple. Chinchwad Devasthan Trust is taking care of this Temple nicely. This Temple is located on Solapur Road, Pune Highway . The distance is 28 km from Pune. The road is ok to drive.
You shall visit here possibly in week days rather than the weekend. On the fourth day of the lunar fortnight (Chaturthi) as per Hindu calendar there is a rush/big queue. There is a monument of Lt. Shrimant Sr. Madhavrao Peshwe in the campus of Ganapati Temple.
You can get flowers and coconut all the material here easily outside of the temple.
No camera or video shooting allowed in the temple. You can take pictures on campus. Mahaprasad & lunch facility has been provided by the administration here. You have to spend ₹50/- per person for lunch plate. No sharing is allowed for the plate.
The staff of lunch serving required to be changed as not so well behaved. Talk arrogantly while serving lunch. If you request them to repeat a serving of Chapati, rice etc. they possibly hesitate to come back. Administration should take care of this.
Parking is available towards the temple at ₹50/- per Car. Rest all ok.

One of the Ashtavinayak, Temple is historic and resembles alike wada. Bappas idol is pleasant and holistic. Noticeable cleanliness is there within premises.
Although we visited on a weekend, crowd is manageable and continuously moving. Also a devotee can spend some time in Gabhara. I have seen decent behaviour by the staff and pandit here. Well organised parking space near the temple. Walkable distance and manageable too for elderly people. Overall, it was the best experience after so many years.
