The Rana Pratap Sagar Dam is a gravity masonry dam of 53.8 metres (177 ft) height built on the Chambal River at Rawatbhata in Rajasthan in India. It is part of integrated scheme of a cascade development of the river involving four projects starting with the Gandhi Sagar Dam in the upstream reach (48 kilometres (30 mi) upstream) in Madhya Pradesh and the Jawahar Sagar Dam on the downstream (28 kilometres (17 mi) downstream) with a terminal structure of the Kota Barrage (28 kilometres (17 mi) further downstream) in Rajasthan for irrigation .Very big dam.

The Rana Pratap Sagar Dam is the primary attraction of Rawatbhata. The dam and power plant are both named after Rajasthan’s warrior Maharaja Rana Pratap. The Rana Pratap Sagar Dam is a 177 ft high gravity masonry dam in India. The dam generates 172 MW of hydropower at the dam toe powerhouse adjacent to the spillway, using discharges from the Gandhi Sagar Dam and extra storage generated at the dam by the captured catchment area.

Rani Mahal Islamnagar, located around 12 km from Bhopal, is a superb destination for photoshoots and videography. It is an ideal spot to visit with friends and family, offering a pleasant ambiance for picnics. The immense and captivating infrastructure of this historical palace is truly remarkable. Although the absence of bathrooms might be disappointing, there may be water stations available.

Situated 11 km from BHOPAL at Islamnagar.
It’s constructed by Dost Mohammad Khan in 1720.
This beautiful place once now a dilapidated structure urgently needed major overhaul.
Garbage and dirt mess spreading everywhere.
Parking space is sufficient.
Govt authorities should ban picnic 🧺 at this historical place.
In just few year this place have chance of extinction .... very ☹️ 😔 sad.
Hemant Khabia — Google review
Rani mahal is decent, but the cynosure of attention is Chaman mahal, where the first founder -king of Bhopal kingdom, Dost Mohd Khan, ruled from. What endeared the place to me were the decently curated gardens in the chowks at Rani mahal and the char bagh style lawns at Chaman Mahal. At the latter, the hamam is truly worth checking out. Ask the friendly staff, they'll guide u. The Sheesh mahal entrance offers an engaging array of pictures from the era with brief descriptions. An easy to approach location, though the way itself is nothing scenic. Walking shoes are a good idea though one can do with any comfortable footwear. There's a dedicated picnic-ing area - a great idea in a food loving nation and state, like ours. A small cafeteria and some shops outside are also available which stock usual road side fare. Needless to add,a camera is a must have. Give it 2 hours, commute extra.

The Taj Mahal Palace, located in Bhopal, is a stunning royal palace built in the 19th century for the Begum of Bhopal. Initially named Raj Mahal, it features exquisite Islamic architecture and boasts 120 rooms. The construction of this magnificent palace spanned over 13 years and was completed in 1884 at a cost of 3,000,000.
The Taj Mahal Palace in Bhopal was built by Shah Jahan Begum. The palace is very beautiful from outside. The interior as heard is amazing. Since now the palace is being converted to a heritage hotel so the caretaker does not allow anybody inside the palace. There are cctv cameras all around outside just to keep a watch that no one enters into the palace. The property now has become a private property. The architecture elements of Islamic architecture is well portrayed in this building. Great was the vision of our historical rulers and their infinite knowledge and also the highness of the craftsmanship at that time period. Apart from Taj Mahal in Agra this is another Taj Mahal which is in Bhopal.

There seems to another wrongly tagged location. This is the actual one.
This is a very sad sight to behold, but something that I wish more people would see. So that the authorities are motivated to renovate this site to something that would suggest its heyday glory.
For something named after a symbol of beauty it is barely maintained.
The interior is infested by street dogs and the person who seems like the "caretaker" said that entry is restricted.

The Taj Mahal at Bhopal was built as the Begum's residence, at a cost of ₹ 3,000,000. Its construction spanned over a period of 13 years, from 1871 to 1884.[1] It was one of the largest palaces of the world built at that time.
The building was originally named Raj Mahal ("royal palace"). The British Resident at Bhopal, highly impressed with the architecture, suggested that the palace be renamed the Taj Mahal, the Taj Mahal at Agra having been built by the Begum's namesake Shah Jahan. The begum accepted the suggestion and the palace was renamed to Taj Mahal.[3] The Begum is said to have ordered a three-year-long celebration called Jashn-e-Taj Mahal after the completion of the building.
After the partition of India in 1947, Nawab Hamidullah Khan allowed Sindhi refugees to stay in the palace. They stayed in Taj Mahal for around 4 years, before shifting to Bairagarh. The palace suffered some damage during this period.[1] After India's independence, some members of the royal family of Bhopal stayed at the palace, but gradually moved away, as they had no money for the repairs. By 2008, large parts of the palace complex had collapsed.
The palace was declared a state heritage monument by the Government of Madhya Pradesh in 2005 and the state archaeology department carried out restoration in parts. However, it was de-notified in 2011. Until 2013, the Taj Mahal was under the archives department. In 2014 the monument was handled over to the Madhya Pradesh tourism department.[4]
In 2017, a private builder from Indore, was handed over the property on lease to develop the sprawling 19th century structure into a 120-room heritage hotel. As of 2023 the work is yet to be started.

The Taj-Ul-Masajid is an imposing 19th century red-stone mosque that features finely carved pillars and arches. The white domes atop the minarets are a striking feature of this beautiful mosque, which remains one of the largest Mosques in India today. The exterior is a soothing pink color and it is powered by two domes.
Taj-Ul-Masajid, the grandest Mosque in Bhopal, The Grandest Mosque in Madhya Pradesh even you can say the Grandest Mosque in India. This beautiful Masjid stand in the middle or you can say the heart of Bhopal city, the area which this Masjid takes is too huge, around 80000 people can perform Namaz here together. The architecture of Taj Ul Masjid is somewhat like mughal Era, the very interior part of Taj ul Masjid will remind you Jama Masjid of Delhi and Masjid of Fatehpur Sikri.
It has 4 gates to enter inside the Mosque premise there is ample space for parking two wheelers and four wheelers and have a canteen which offer snacks at a reasonable price. The Masjid has four pounds calling Hauz one is the biggest Hauz where Namazi do Wazoo and other 3 reserved for children residing in Madarsa for their personal use.
If you are in Bhopal or planning to go there your trip will be incomplete if you are not visit this Beautiful and Grandest Taj Ul Masajid.

Taj-ul-Masajid, located in Bhopal, India, is one of the most magnificent and iconic mosques in the country. Its name translates to "Crown of Mosques," and rightfully so, as its grandeur and architectural splendor make it a crown jewel of Islamic architecture in India.
Construction of Taj-ul-Masajid began in the 19th century during the reign of Sultan Shah Jahan Begum of Bhopal, but it was later halted due to lack of funds. It was not until the 1970s that efforts were resumed, and the mosque was finally completed in 1985. The mosque's design is a harmonious blend of Mughal and Islamic architectural styles, featuring imposing domes, towering minarets, intricate marble carvings, and ornate calligraphy.
The main prayer hall of Taj-ul-Masajid is awe-inspiring, with a vast central courtyard capable of accommodating thousands of worshippers during prayers. The prayer hall is adorned with exquisite marble flooring, intricately carved pillars, and beautifully crafted mihrabs (prayer niches) that point towards the direction of Mecca.
The mosque's exterior is equally breathtaking, with its imposing facade adorned with intricately carved arches, domes, and minarets rising majestically into the sky. The central dome, in particular, is a sight to behold, with its elegant silhouette and intricate detailing.
Taj-ul-Masajid not only serves as a place of worship but also as a cultural and educational center for the Muslim community in Bhopal. It hosts religious lectures, Quranic studies, and other educational programs aimed at promoting Islamic knowledge and values.
Beyond its religious significance, Taj-ul-Masajid is also a popular tourist attraction, drawing visitors from all over the world who come to admire its architectural beauty and learn about its rich history. The mosque's serene atmosphere and stunning architecture make it a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Bhopal, offering a glimpse into India's rich cultural and architectural heritage.

Beautiful mosque. Very massive beautiful carvings and colors. Very peaceful at the same time. The tree inside in the compound is pretty too.
Iwo Dubaniowski — Google review
The Taj-ul-Masjid largely takes inspiration from Mughal architecture. The mosque has a pink facade topped by two 18-storey high octagonal minarets with marble domes, an impressive main hallway with attractive pillars, and marble flooring resembling the likes of Jama Masjid in Delhi and the Badshahi Mosque of Lahore. It has a courtyard with a large ablution tank in the centre.
THE MOSQUE ALSO FEATURES A ZENANA(women's gallery ) RARE GIVEN THAT PRAYER FROM HOME WAS THE NORM FOR WOMEN AT THE TIME OF THE MOSQUE'S CONSTRUCTION.
The structure is constructed in the midst of three water bodies, namely: Munshi Hussain Talab; Noor Mahal Talab; and Motia Talab.
Narendra Pratap Singh — Google review
I was fascinated by the beauty of Taj-ul-Masjid even though I could only see the outer structure. The white marble exterior was stunning, and the intricate carvings were truly awe-inspiring. I could tell that a lot of time and effort had gone into building this mosque, and it was clear that it was a place of great importance to the Muslim community.
I was also impressed by the sense of peace and tranquility that I felt when I was standing in front of the mosque. Even though it was locked, I could feel the energy of the place. It was a reminder that even though we may have different religions, we can all come together to appreciate beauty and peace.
I would love to visit Taj-ul-Masjid again one day and be able to go inside. I am sure that it would be an even more incredible experience.
Here are some thoughts I had while visiting Taj-ul-Masjid from the outside:
I was amazed by the beauty of the mosque. The white marble was so pristine and the carvings were so intricate.
I hope to visit Taj-ul-Masjid again one day and be able to go inside. I am sure that it would be an even more incredible experience.

Van Vihar National Park is a national park in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India that features animals in their natural habitats. The park includes areas with dense forests, open grasslands, and wetlands. It is home to many endangered species of animals, including tigers, lions, and hyenas. The park is open from 6:30am to 11:00pm daily.
If you want to complete the whole place, then you should visit the place by car or hire a bycicle. Entry fee for one person is Rs 20. You have to book the cycle at the ticket counter and take it from inside the cycle stand. Cycle charge is Rs 20/-. It was really fun to explore the whole Van Vihar by cycling. It's a huge area. I will definitely suggest to get a cycle for proper enjoying of the place. We spotted tigers. There was a snake house. Few Boas and cobras are there. Overall nice place. Must visit if you are interested in wild life and want to explore Bhopal. Best time to visit is early morning. The park opens at 6:30 AM in the morning.

There is no word to describe a national park, I came here after like 12 years and it is been a amazing development since. Thanks to the authorities.
One mistake I made earlier is to try walking.
It is not that you can't walk that long. Its this beautiful animals come and go within short time so you better have bit more mobility to get glimpse of them.
Its better to rent a cycle which is best experience to ride this in this nice road or get pass for your vehicle

One mistake I made earlier is to try walking.
It is not that you can't walk that long. Its this beautiful animals come and go within short time so you better have bit more mobility to get glimpse of them.
Its better to rent a cycle which is best experience to ride this in this nice road or get pass for your vehicle

Sadar Manzil Gate, a renowned attraction in Bhopal, was historically known as the Hall of Public Audience and later served as a noble courtroom during the Nawabs rule. This brick-red edifice, located within the magnificent Shaukat Mahal monument, showcases an impressive fusion of architectural styles and holds significant historical value.

An almost 200-year old monument, which is still occupied by residents, in spite of almost being in ruins.
It is believed to have been constructed sometimes in the beginning of the 19th century as a wedding gift to Sikander Jehan Begum, the first full-fledged female ruler of Bhopal.
I was unable to visit inside, only viewed it from outside. It is indeed a majestic monument, and in several parts one can imagine it's foregone splendour.
Today a very good hotel operates on the premises.

It is not worthwhile to visit this Mahal. It may be historical, but the location has been lost, and it is home of many people. It is not a place to visit, and you will be disappointed if you do. Instead, there are two MAhals nearby, one of which is under renovation, and the other is GOUHAR MAHAL. Its infrastructure has been dismantled and is no longer maintained by anyone. It feels more like a home than a Mahal or an old house. I was very disappointed to put this on my list of places to visit. As a result, it is not necessary to pay a visit.

Once a beautiful and huge heritage building is in the worst condition now you can't even get Inside of the Shaukat Mahal due to it's worst condition.
There is grass all over the building, the building looks like a haunted place of b grade bollywood horror movies. Very poor and bad side of Madhya Pradesh Government can be seen here so sad to look at the Heritage Shaukat Mahal in such a awful condition.

This royal building is situated at the entrance to the Chowk area in the heart of the walled city. Shaukat Mahal is a 19th century palace which was designed by a Frenchman, said to be a descendent the Bourbon kings. It combines Indo-Saracenic and Rococo architectural styles. The exterior of the palace is also carved with exquisite floral patterns that give the Mahal a very eco-friendly appearance. The Shaukat Mahal is flanked by the Sadar Manzil which served as a Hall of Public Audience during the princely period. This brick-red building has an ostentatious appearance, and the gardens that surround the palace makes the Manzil look very pretty.
The aesthetical interest of the castle, finish with overwhelming utilization of white alabaster and highlighting a progression of complex triangular molded curves on its roof, was additionally upgraded by flawless outsides decorated with sensitive flower designs giving it an eco-accommodating appearance. Indeed, even following two centuries, the magnificence and wonder of this authentic landmark stays unmatched in the city. Sightseers going to the site are certain to be left totally speechless with its charming magnificence and aesthetic interest. When going by 'Shaukat Mahal', do travel to the colorful red block building 'Sadar Manzil' that encompasses the royal residence. The splendid red of 'Sadar Manzil' impeccably supplements the smooth white development of 'Shaukat Mahal' and the rich gardens here further add that touch of greenery to the postcard culminate setting of these two excellent structures. Numerous a times, exceptional qawwali programs are additionally sorted out in the patio nurseries amid nighttimes. The background of flawlessly lit 'Shaukat Mahal' gives that mysterious feel to the entire environment. In the event that you get a shot, do go to this melodic execution and absorb your souls the Nawabi spirits of Bhopal.

Built by Qudisiya Begum ( also known as Gohar Begum ) in 1820 is a synthesis of Hindu - Muslim architecture . Gohar Begum was the first woman ruler of Bhopal . It was a seat of power and residence as well . It is situated near the upper lake. A lot of exhibitions are held inside the palace. Mostly textile markets are held here. There are 2 courtyards present now. There is an artificial water fountain in the second courtyard. Overall a good place. Mostly permission is till 1st courtyard. They won't allow everyone to the interior of the building. The view is really nice to the upper lake.

Top view on Upper Lake Point offers a mesmerizing sight as the sun sets and the city lights of Bhopal reflect on the tranquil waters of Bhojtal. The charming scene is enhanced by boats gracefully sailing across the lake. This popular spot not only provides a stunning sunset view but also offers an opportunity to savor local culinary delights, making it perfect for those seeking to explore regional favorites.

Jama Masjid is the second-largest mosque in Bhopal and also the pride of Bhopal.
This mosque is situated in a congested market area.
Most tourists come to visit this mosque for its beautiful classic Islamic architecture.

Beautiful Mosque, it shows how traditionally mosque were used to build, nowadays mosque are closed on sides and Air Conditioned, but here you can see so many gates and elevated dome, back in the time we didn't have forced circulation, this mosque is built to use natural circulation of air for cooling and ventilation.
here I offered namaz, obviously.
Sub-han Allah
No tickets are required here, I guess. I didn't pay for any tickets, but they have saveral gates here, so there is a chance they charge you from that particular gate. I might be wrong, so check yourself.
I must say this otherwise it would be a unfair review, This mosque is huge.

A beautiful mosque built by Qudsia Begum, a Lady Nawab of Erstwhile Nawabi of Bhopal, not to be confused by Taj-ul-Masjid Masjid or Moti Masjid

Jama Masjid in Bhopal was built by Qudsia Begum who had aslo built the famous Gauhar Mahal. The Begums ruled Bhopal and shows how women had the power to rule and build something which stands till today. The Begum were very wise. Their knowledge on Islamic architecture is well portrayed in the elements of the entire building. The place is mostly deserted apart from tourists travelling there. I request others to upload the correct pictures of the Masjid as few people have Added Taj ul Masajid pictures. Beware of the wrong pictures. I am sharing few pictures when i visited there.

A must visit. I went to the Jama masjid at night. There were hardly any people about. Being a non Muslim, I was not sure whether I could enter or not, so I asked an elderly gentleman who was exuding the mosque. He said I could go in & escorted me in himself.
The mosque was brilliantly lit from outside. I did i was the only visor & had the whole mosque to sit in tranquility or peace. I took a few moments to disk in the atmosphere of the place.
I would say this is among the more beautiful mosques in India & well maintained.

Built by Sikander Begum in the year 1860, the beautiful Moti Masjid is an important historical landmark of the Muslims in Bhopal. The architectural design of the Moti Masjid has a striking resemblance to the famous Jama Masjid in Delhi.
History of Moti Masjid
Behind the history of Moti Masjid lies the history of one of the most significant characters in the history of Muslim women in India, Sikander Begum. Being a relatively liberated and progressive woman compared to the time in which she lived, Sikander Begum had built roads, bridges and a number of graceful and elegant monuments such as the Moti Masjid in Bhopal .The Moti Masjid was built in 1860 and since then it is one of the most significant landmarks in Madhya Pradesh.
Description of Moti Masjid
The Moti Masjid, Bhopal is a relatively smaller sized monument hat was built in the year 1860 by Sikander Jehan. The mosque has two dark red towers with golden spikes. The architecture of the Moti masjid resembles the Jama Masjid in Delhi. Because of the sparkling white façade, The Moti Masjid is also called the Pearl Mosque.
How to reach Moti Masjid
Bhopal can be easily reached by regular flights and trains from different important cities such as Delhi, Gwallior, Mumbai and Indore. There are also daily buses to Bhopal that take the tourists to this walled city. Moti Masjid inside the city premises of Bhopal can be easily reached by any transport, local or private.

Moti Masjid is one of the many mosques located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Even though the mosque is relatively smaller in size as compared to the other exquisite and historical monuments that stand majestically in the 'city of mosques', the Moti Masjid is of equal importance. This famous historic landmark was built by Sikander Jehan Begum of Bhopal, daughter of Qudusiya Begum, in the year 1860. Sikander Begum was an unconventional woman who abolished slavery and set up the trend of the progressive woman in the entire city. Popularly known as the Pearl Mosque, the mosque is located in the heart of the city and represents the rich history of the Bhopal Begums in India.
The architecture of the Moti Masjid in Bhopal has a striking resemblance to the architecture of the Jama Masjid in Delhi, except for the size. The Moti Masjid features a white marble facade with two small cupolas on the top. The two dark red towers on either side of the primary structure of the mosque are equally beautiful and fascinating.
The easy accessibility of the Moti Masjid through both local and private transport makes this place a popular attraction that tourists love to visit. The mosque is best visited in the early morning hours when there are fewer people here, and one can pray in silence and peace. A typical visit to the Moti Masjid lasts for about an hour or so, and the excursion can be coupled with a visit to nearby attractions like Shaukat Mahal, Van Vihar National Park, Lower Lake or Birla Museum.

Bhopal - 'The City of Lakes', is particularly famous for its important shrine of the Moti Masjid that is located here. The history of the mosque is associated with the liberating deeds and thoughts of its builder, Sikander Begum, who is well known all across the globe for her liberal nature. Sikander Begum brought about a revolution in the territory and initiated architectural development. It was under her aegis that roads, buildings and monuments were built in Bhopal, Moti Masjid being a major one amongst them.
Sikander Begum is also well known for her courage and bravery. She used to dress up as a man and would go out riding without a veil. She set up the trend of progressive women in the city of Bhopal, and the Moti Masjid bears testimony to this rebellious, liberated and progressive woman.

The IGRMS is a anthropological museum that preserves links and research ideas about the origin and social relationship of human beings long ago. The entire museum is spread over an area of 200 acres of land and is very huge. The museum is close to the famous Demonstration Multipurpose School in Bhopal and also near the Upper Lake. So we accessed it through t he lake view road. The time I visited was during the ongoing open exhibitions in the museum. I went round the museum and also learned that the museum holds different types of exhibitions throughout the year. Indoor galleries, special exhibitions, periodic and temporary exhibitions, traveling and online exhibitions are few of them.
The museum is very close to the Upper Lake, and therefore it attracts large number of visitors daily. It also contains a rich variety of ancient resources collected from every nook and corner of India. The museum has a large library where I found few of the best compilations that represented the history and evolution of the country. There is an indoor museum which depicts the life style of the people who lived long ago. From the collection of weapons they used food, utensils and clothes they wore, everything is preserved in the museum. There is also the dummy structure of the kinds of houses the ancient human beings used to live.
The Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya is located on the Shamla Hills in Bhopal. So the view from the hill top to the entire city was picturesque. The lake also provides a good recreational area where I sat for a long time before returning back for the day.
As traveling is what I do whenever I get some free time, I was truly impressed by the information I have gained from the museum visit. I was truly happy that I made a good decision to bend my interest toward visiting one of the ancestral monuments of India.

To explore the museum you at least require an hour or so. The artwork inside the museum is extraordinary and marvellous. Some of the artworks are kind of tedious to understand and will blow your mind.

The Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum is a unique museum in Bhopal city that showcases tribal life. It features an impressive collection of tribal clothing, crafts, and tools. The museum also has spaces for events and performances, including an open-air auditorium and a closed one. Additionally, it houses an art gallery, a library for select members, a souvenir shop selling tribal art, and a cafeteria.
The museum contains several articles made by tribal people in Madhya Pradesh. The items are exhibited in an orderly manner. 🙂 Walk through the impressive entrance and prepared to be wowed. So much work and effort has gone into presenting the individual characteristics of tribes indigenous to the state. Recreations of village home life, beautiful representations of creation, & other stories - truly wonderful. A little more lighting in some areas would have allowed closer examination of some exhibits. However, the explanations in Hindi and English were excellent. The Regional Science Centre in Bhopal offers interactive exhibits related to science and technology. It is a kid-friendly museum with exhibits that are unique and fun for all ages. The center also has a 200-seater auditorium, a conference hall, and an array of working models that are related to science and technology.
This is the most amazing Science center, I have been going here since I was in school, I have seen a lot of science museums, namely in Mumbai, Hyderabad, North Bay Ontario, And the Ontario Science Museum in Toronto. But the amount of interactive experiment/exhibits Bhopal's Regional Science Center provides is really unmatched.
It is highly recommended for any one with a bit of inclination towards science.
Keep up the good work Regional Science Center Team.

It's a great place to learn something new. The total ticket will cost ₹65 that's including - Museum entry, 3D video (about 10 min) and a planetarium (a 10 min show of stars in our observable universe). Everything is worth it. You can also skip the shows and just enter with a normal ticket.
It's a good place to bring young kids, they will love it and will definitely learn many things.
The staff is also good and friendly. Be sure to bring your food and snacks as there is only a limited amount of options available there, so it will be good to plan ahead.
To experience everything (including the park) you will need at least 3-4 hours.

We visited this place with three kids. Ticket charges are nominal and it's better to opt for package where one gets an all included pass of 3D movie, Tara Mandal show etc.
These shows are shown at regular gaps and we happened to reach just on time where the 3 D show was about to begin. It was for just about 10 minutes or so. It was nice and kids enjoyed it. Then there was a galaxy show which was quite engaging.
Apart from these shows, there is an array of experiments and displays ranging from light, mechanics, geology, human body, chemistry and the like.
Overall quite a stimulating experience for young children.
We went on a week day and there wasn't much crowd.
The outer area and garden is nicely done and one can spend a fair bit of time exploring the garden and experimental set ups there.

Amazing experience, you get to know more about science in such simple and interactive ways. I myself being a science student found it very intriguing. You can use the models very easily, and understand the science behind it really well as it's all explained in detail. And if you really wanna learn something take yr whole day and visit there, not just simply for sightseeing :)

The Regional Science Centre, Bhopal (RSCB) is located in the Shyamla Hills area of Bhopal, India.[2] It is aimed at popularizing science and technology among the people, particularly the students. It is one of the constituent units of the National Council of Science Museums or NCSM.The Centre has over 266 science exhibits spanning across a wide range of scientific disciplines. Most of the exhibits are interactive. The 5-acre RSCB campus includes a 3-acre Science Park, which contains over 60 exhibits such as pulley demonstrations, a windmill and solar-powered devices. The campus also houses a small Dinosaur Park and a zoo.
The RSCB is open on all days, including weekends, except on Holi and Diwali. The visitor timings are from 10.30 am to 6pm. As of 1 April 2014, the entry fees is ₹ 10 for visitors who are part of a student group, and ₹ 20 for everybody else. There are extra charges for special shows such as the 3D Film Show (₹ 20 per person) and the Taramandal Show (introduction to astronomy, ₹ 10 per person).
The Centre has a 200-seater auditorium and a 25-seater conference hall (both air conditioned). These are also available to the external groups for organizing relevant events, at a small charge. There is also a 50-seater AC hall, where the 3D Science Show is organised. RSCB has a small portable planetarium with an inflatable dome, with a capacity of 25 people.
RSCB also has a Mobile Science Exhibition bus with 24 exhibits. This bus goes to the small towns and remote villages of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh for creating scientific awareness through anti-superstition demonstrations, science-related films, sky observation and educational lectures.

Very nice place. Great outing for kids and learning experience for the whole family. Planetarium and 3D videos are good and worth a shot. The cafeteria is also good. Overall an affordable trip for a day for a family filled with fun and science.

It is an average science center which is available in almost every big city of India. Since it doesn't have a private ownership (govt aided) so maintenance is much required. Many of the instruments are not functional. Wear and tear can be seen at many places. Still floors were very much clean and overall premise was well cleaned. 3D show didn't have enough glasses so despite of the hall capacity the show was run in smaller batches. It needs a renovation. There is so much to learn for children upto 10 std. People from non science background are suggested to read all the description boards nicely and then explain the same to their kids. Let children read, learn and spend sometime at every machine/display, else it will be only a play day for them.

Nice place to visit with teenager.
Do watch there show on stars. (तारामंडल)
The show and 3 d movie are separately chargeable
Also visit the mirror section on first floor.
Lastly on weekends they show planets of solar system with help of telescope for free, I think that is worth watching. Timimg near about 6.30 pm.
However some maintenance and repair is required.
Visit when you have free time for 2-3 hours.
Akhilesh Kanoje — Google review
It was a good experience. However I firmly believe that there should be someone present beside the various experiments and apparatus to explain the scientific processes they demonstrate. Most of the time the schoolchildren are taken there for trips for learning purposes and don't end up doing very much learning at all.

The Birla Museum is a vast and mesmerizing exhibit of prehistoric artifacts, including coins, papers and terracotta sculptures. Situated in the Arera Hills overlooking the Lower Lake in Bhopal, this amazing museum offers an all-encompassing view of the city below. The doors are open from 10am to 6pm daily except on Mondays and holidays. Indian citizens pay INR 5 per person while foreigners pay INR 50 per person for admission.
If you love history, sculptures and museums then a must-visit place indeed which is located just next to the Birla temple.
The entry ticket is 25₹ and you have to pay 100₹ additional for any kind of photography which includes mobile photography too.
There is a wide variety of sculpture art inside the museum which I like a lot. The museum is somehow maintained well.
MP government should promote such places as there is some amazing artwork to experience and witness.

The Museum exudes tranquility with its abundance of charming stone sculptures, ancient coins, and captivating artworks. It offers a glimpse into the evolution of mankind from its earliest beginnings to the late 18th and 19th centuries. Adjacent to the renowned Birla Temple, this meticulously preserved museum is a haven of serenity. Nestled within its premises is a captivating garden adorned with a multitude of timeless statues. The museum's impeccable upkeep ensures a serene atmosphere, making it an ideal destination to explore. Don't forget to note the museum's operating hours, which conclude at 7:00 P.M. during summer and 6:30 P.M. during other seasons, ensuring ample time to visit before closing. Although the museum may have a slight shortfall in the number of ancient artifacts, I still rate it a commendable 4 out of 5 stars.

The dam offers breathtaking views of the sunset and sunrise over the beautiful flowing water. However, visitors should be cautious around the deep lake and refrain from swimming or littering. Additionally, there are suggestions to develop it into a tourism destination by introducing activities like boating and zip-lining to attract more visitors.
The most stunning and beautiful place to see the sun setting down and rising up with the beautiful water flowing . A lot of people came there to enjoy the glimpses of life . A good mall for regular shopping mall has all normal shops and big bazaar and best par of mall is pvr i like the mall it is little small but good The best thing about this mall is that it has a PVR. THE BEST MOVIE EXPERIENCE you can get in bhopal. I booked recliner seats, bought popcorns, nachos and coke. Everything is super clean out there and the screen too was awesome and big.Good shopping and dining options. Local eateries are average. Go out for dominos for better food experience. This is small place can be visited in any week days The biggest attraction is PVR with three screens. And you find Big Bazar which caters all your home needs at one place.
The Domino is added attraction which normally serves mostly home delivery of PIZZAS.
People can take away also from here. Outside Aura mall you get seasonal flavor and taste of India like KULFI, MOMOS. GOL GAPPE. Sing Dana. or roasted corn even during summers you can get sugar Cane Juice or fruit juice. The small but sweet mall. I have here many times to shopping at Big Bazaar or watching movies at PVR. Nice place have Dominos too.
