(Translated by Google) On Saturday, April 22, we went to take a guided tour and buy products since we were staying in the area. We made a large purchase for the family and we were surprised that when we arrived in Buenos Aires and opened a container of double 0 olives with the current date, half of the container of green olives were crushed, pasty, excessively salty. When we mentioned it to Olium via message, they told us that they do not produce them and they were going to tell the external producer so that he could look into the issue. They opened a container and confirmed that they found an olive in the same condition as the ones I told them about and that they had no problem with me returning it and they would refund my money. I think that with this response and knowing that we were basic, we felt that they ignored us in order to send us the replacement of the 5 jars of premium olives that we bought from them, even more so where we spent close to 100 thousand pesos on products. Commercially I give them the thumbs down and even more so when I found out that they washed their hands of this and blamed the producer from whom they buy the olives. This does not happen to me with the olives that I buy both in Catamarca and in La Rioja. Only when they resolve the issue will I see if I can improve the score.

Amazing place. It's like 100 museums in one, they have an extensive collection of 60000 different objects, most of them not pieces of art, but simple objects of any type from 1820 to approximately 2000, and if you're over 30 it will surely trigger many memories of your own past.
There are also geological, biological, anatomic exhibits, it's definitely a very interesting place and it's worth a visit.

This was one of my favourite spots in Nono, this place is plenty of old stuff but even that, it’s still gorgeous and interesting, each step you take is worthwhile, there are descriptions of everything to help you to be aware what is in front of you and understand what was its purpose in those times. This museum isn’t far from the Central Park in Nono, it’s almost 10 minutes in car. I recommend to visit this place for sure. You’ll love it even if you don’t like museums, this is really different than the ordinary museums.

It offers cabins with bathroom, family house with kitchen and grill, ecocamping and/or spending the day. It is distinguished by the rustic landscape, the three natural pools formed by the river and a 10-minute path to "la Olla", a very pretty little beach hidden between large stones. It has dressing rooms and bathrooms with hot water at certain times since firewood is used to heat the cauldrons, a restobar with a varied menu, WiFi, and a viewpoint from which you can see the extensive Quilpo River. To get there it takes approximately 30 minutes from San Marcos, the entrance route is a little deteriorated, but you can do it by going slowly, I managed to get there in a small car, but I would recommend tall or large cars for greater ease.
If you are looking for city comforts, this is not your place.

(Translated by Google) It is undoubtedly a necessary stop for those looking to get to know the Quilpo River, one of the best rivers in Córdoba, it is a river with a lot of flow, in this section the river has beautiful pots, it must be treated with extra respect.
The place is for camping in a more natural way, in the sense that it has a camping structure but the minimum necessary. Only a few hours of electricity per day, there are no camping inns, no benches, etc. Fireplaces are inhabited to make careful fires in specific places. There are common bathrooms. It also has dormis and a bar where they prepare good meals and have drinks.
It didn't seem very economical to me, but it was worth going.

The Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of the Valley is a 19th-century structure adorned with mosaics, stained glass and relics. It houses the revered Virgen del Valle, patron saint of Catamarca. The Camarin, a stunning mezzanine chapel accessed via an ornate staircase and pedestrian lane, showcases tiles and stained glass that recount the story of the Virgin. This iconic cathedral embodies local culture and tradition and is a must-see for tourists seeking religious or aesthetic experiences alike.
Beautiful church from the outside (instagram worthy you might say). Didn’t enter because service was on going but this church was in the middle of a large plaza where several people were gathered.

The current temple is the third built in that place. The first was inaugurated in 1695; the second built between 1734 and 1744. There are those who claim that it is the fifth temple of the Virgin taking into account the previous two in Valle Viejo.

A visit to the La Banda Jesuit Museum is highly recommended, as it offers an enriching and educational experience through a guided tour. The museum impresses with its remarkable historical significance. Although some visitors may find the tour guide slightly irritable, it does not diminish the overall value of the visit. Furthermore, this museum stands out for serving delicious empanadas at affordable prices. Additionally, the building itself exudes charm and authenticity, providing a truly traditional atmosphere that enhances the overall experience.

The museum should be bigger considering it has 5 or 6 floors but only two are available for tourist visits. Also all the activities after you pay the entrance fee should be already included and they aren't. Although the price 150$(pesos) isn't expensive, not even for Argentinian people or for International tourists.
The wildlife sanctuary, Reserva Natural Tara Inti, offers visitors the opportunity to explore its stairways and observe the native fauna. This can be combined with a pleasant walk along the waterfront from the hotel to the dam. The park is well-maintained and has friendly staff who kindly request proof of vaccination. One can enjoy breathtaking views of both the dam and river from its various viewpoints. Additionally, entrance to the sanctuary is free, allowing everyone to appreciate its beauty and biodiversity without any cost.

This lively gathering spot offers a plethora of dining options, shopping opportunities, and entertainment venues. The warm-hearted Santiaguenos people greatly contribute to its vibrant atmosphere.
This is the most amazingly laid-back town. Everything shuts at lunch and the townsfolk literally come out to dance in the town square. What a wonderful life!

It´s a representative place in the city due to its location, downtown. Everybody seems to be gathering there, especially the youngsters. There are many cafes and places to eat around it. And you can relax in one of the benches, sunbathe or take a break while running errands.

Great place. Offers a lot, restaurants, hotels, street food, street vendors. All while having a nice view of the river, access to beaches and several events every weekend. Would be great if the city invested more on maintenance of lights and parks though.

This an amazing cathederal. It is enormous and beautiful with the stain glass windows. There is a simplicity which represents the place where it was built. There is an openess with people coming and going from every side. It is impressive.

This must be one of the most nicest looking buildings in Asuncion. Has guards at the entrance but they are not well dressed, rinkels in the uniform and pants are too long.

The National Pantheon of Heroes, a historic edifice nestled in the heart of downtown Asuncion, is a must-visit destination. It beckons you to explore the rich tapestry of Paraguayan history, with a plethora of notable figures interred within its cemetery-chapel, including luminaries such as Mariscal Lopez and Mariscal Estigarribia. The best part? Admission is entirely free.
As you approach this venerable institution, you'll invariably encounter two sentinels, steadfastly guarding its entrance. During my visit, I was fortunate to witness a changing of the guard, a ceremonious display of military precision and respect. It was a captivating experience that added depth to my visit.
For many years, the monument lay shrouded in mystery, often closed to the public due to either ongoing renovations or the shadow cast by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, during my decade-long sojourn in Paraguay, the opportunity to step inside had eluded me. Now, I can genuinely say I've savored the delight of this long-awaited visit.

If you go to downtown, it’s must-go place.

Asunción 001101, Paraguay
I'll never travel to Bonito without this trip planner again
The state government office Palacio de López is located in the heart of Asuncion, overlooking the bay. The neoclassical building was designed on orders from General Francisco Solano Lopez' uncle, Carlos Antonio Lopez, and was almost complete when Paraguayan troops fought alongside their Triple Alliance partners during the Paraguayan War (1864-1870).
Neoclassical palace that serves as the seat of government and workplace of the Paraguayan president. It was built by Carlos Antonio López, the leader of Paraguay from 1841 to 1862, to serve as a home for his son.
One should also come at night to see it lit up, and it is well-guarded.

Lial Brown — Google review
The "Palacio López" (Lopez palace) is the seat of the Executive Branch of the Government of Paraguay. The building is located in the center of the city of Asunción, on "Paraguayo Independiente" street, between "Ayolas" and "O'Leary" streets, on the shores of Asunción Bay, a geographical feature corresponding to the Paraguay River. It was built in a neoclassical style with a certain "palladian" influence. The building began its construction in 1857, and was paralyzed by the outbreak of the War of the Triple Alliance. During the War, the City of Asunción was looted and bombed by the Triple Alliance, leaving the building in an inhospitable state. After a few years, the infrastructure was completed in 1867 and after many years of unstable politics, it was opened and used as the seat of government in 1892.

Good view from any point , unfortunately cannot come closer , but I enjoyed moment on sunset
The notable street José Asunción Flores in at least 300 characters is a linear park separating a beach from a presidential palace. It has beautiful views of the building and is a great place to walk, bike, or simply relax. The fairs held there are ideal for people looking for an enjoyable experience. There are many ways to improve the area, but it's still worth checking out for anyone looking for a nice spot to hang out.
Excellent place to appreciate the sunsets of Asunción, also to do recreational activities such as running, kayaking, rowing or biking. However, I do not recommend carrying valuables because there are always people who steal.

Paseo La Galería is the biggest shopping center in Paraguay, as far as I know. It has everything and it is very clean. The price point is a bit high for people but it is the same everywhere there are "international brands." It has also a cinema with a lot of choices of movies.
The only negative point is that I found the entrance unorganized as you need to pass through a restaurant area to get into the Paseo and you need to know that it is there because if not you will search for a long time.

The Shopping Center Paseo La Galera is undeniably one of the premier destinations in Asuncion. Boasting a myriad of amenities, it offers a nice cinema experience, accommodation options with its onsite hotel, ample parking facilities, and an impressive array of shops. From upscale brands like Saks and Monalisa to a diverse range of retailers, there's something to cater to every shopper's taste. Additionally, for tourists, the information desk provides a welcoming gesture with a 10% discount offer. Overall, Shopping Center Paseo La Galeria stands out as a comprehensive and inviting retail and entertainment hub in the heart of Asuncion."

Paseo la Galería is one of the biggest shopping centers in Asunción. It has all the common stores that you'd expect in any major shopping mall and a nice selection of various restaurants. The food park upstairs is also not bad if you're on a budget.

Exercise caution when dealing with counterfeit merchandise. Familiarize yourself with the prevailing prices in your local area or online prior to visiting Shopping China Importados. Generally, prices are comparable, but opting for installment payments within Brazil can help you avoid foreign transaction taxes. Additionally, converting your funds into US dollars before shopping can lead to greater savings. It is advisable not to rely on credit cards at this establishment due to potential issues.

Be aware of fake items. Get to know the prices in the city you live or on the Internet before heading to Shopping China. Usually, prices will be the same but you can pay on installment in Brazil and avoid the IOF tax on foreign expenses. Furthermore, exchange your funds into US dollars before shopping. That way you will save more. Do not use your credit card!
