(Translated by Google) The park is very nice. Very quiet, arid environment nature in all its splendor. There are two short trails (half and one hour approx) to the waterfall. We did them with boys with no problems. There is also another, three hours, to Cerro el Leoncito, beautiful! If you like to walk, don't miss it. What is difficult about it is the climb, which is difficult due to the height, but we did it with teenagers, in shorts, sneakers and with patience, water and hats, and it was worth it! Very well signposted. There is no way to get lost.
We stayed at the campsite for 4 nights. Very nice, with shade (we doubted how it would be because we couldn't find any photos). The infrastructure of bathrooms in good condition and with hot showers available at night. With water to use and fit to consume. When we arrived they were with acceptable cleanliness, but then 4 days passed without cleaning. It would be nice if they improve that. Likewise, as there were very few people (3-4 tents in the first fortnight of January) it was not very serious.
The unmissable night skies and the visits to Cesco and Casleo are very good! Very friendly park rangers. oh! The grocery store never opened, not even on Saturday morning. So he had to provide himself in Barreal. Without a car, it gets complicated!

(Translated by Google) Spectacular!!! It has a trekking walk with a high level of difficulty, 8 km, at first it seems easy but it gains difficulty until it becomes pure adrenaline, with one of the best panoramic views I could experience in this type of landscape, with a viewpoint that indicates to hundreds of kilometers the peaks, valleys and their names, very highly recommended for adventure hunters. We stay in a tent in a wild campsite that is surrounded by poplars, very beautiful, close contact with nature.
You can also take a slightly more passive walk, more relaxed in the surroundings, which presents nice surprises.
The night observatory is an unforgettable experience, completely fascinating, highly recommended!

Espectacular!!!

(Translated by Google) We did the 2 hikes, the one to Cerro El Leoncito which lasts about 3 hours which is unmissable and with wonderful views and then the one to the waterfall that borders the river, much shorter and more accessible but also highly recommended. The attention of the park rangers is very brief and limited information, it is not clear if they do not know or are tired of the tourists.

(Translated by Google) A beautiful place!!! A few kilometers from the city of Barreal, there is a stretch of road and another bit of gravel in good condition. The entrance is very well indicated, in front of the entrance is Barreal Leoncito (a literal lagoon, of land, at some times of the year Carrovelismo is practiced). In the park you have to go to the Guadaparques sector because it is important to register. There, in addition to finding information about hikes, astronomical centers, there is also a rest area and restrooms. Take into account entry times.

(Translated by Google) The reservation is fantastic. There are three types of trails to follow, with different difficulties. Everything very well signposted. Flawless. The park rangers are very friendly. I recommend spending the night. They have a very good supply, the two women who run it are kind and attentive, they treated us to a spectacular pickled eggplant, very pleasant.
Unfortunately, some visitors throw their cigarette butts on the ground and violate the APN regulations that are posted.

I think the ticket prices are very high, there is a beautiful view of the mountains, but there is nothing surprising or unusual here. Further on the free road you can see more beautiful and better landscapes

Nice place to visit, I think its a good option for families with children and for retired who enjoy a relaxing walk and a short guided tour around the hotel which is closed and abandoned. In my opinion the 350 pesos fee is quite expensive for what you receive.

A very good alternative to vineyard tours in Mendoza is to hire a car and come to this natural reserve. Guanaco is an easy sighting here since they are protected, along with condors and other animals. The view is sublime.

We enjoyed to visit the Reserve! Tickets are good but it could be better if you receive a water bottle with them. A beautiful place, definitely you have to listen the talk with the guide, I learnt a lot about Villavicencio.

(Translated by Google) It is worth it. Gravel road, but very good. Some places are a little scary because of the many curves and ravines. But the view and nature make up for it. There are birds, guanacos, zorros. I went at the end of August and some places had snow and guanacos drinking in the meltwater. You go up and at the top there is the Cruz de Paramillos. I highly recommend it, it is very beautiful to go towards Uspallata along this road.

Vale a pena.

Lago Del Parque General San Martin is a vast urban park in the heart of the city, spanning across 420 hectares. It boasts a stunning lake, scenic promenades adorned with statuary and a delightful rose garden perfect for relaxation. The park entrance features impressive gates forged for the Turkish Sultan and shipped from England.
Beautiful park, designed by the French architect and landscaper Carlos Thays. The interesting thing about the park is that it was built to improve the health of the time (epidemics of diphtheria, cholera, and measles) and also the park serves as an alluvial defense. I recommend renting a bicycle to explore it entirely, and enjoy the sunset from near the lake.
Manu Rivoir — Google review
Very nice park, lots of shade, a few places to eat scattered around.
Minus one star due to some guy with a microphone and loud PA system shouting and another system playing music.

Beautiful park. It's clean, very well maintained, with plenty of relaxing areas to exercise or enjoy time with the family! You need more than one day to visit the fountain, lake, the Cerro de La Gloria monument, etc, so plan accordingly!
The impressive Army of the Andes Monument is a must-see in Mendoza. It's well worth the visit for its impressive scale and variety of statues and memorials. However, there are no signs explaining the different parts of the monument, so be prepared to do a little bit of research before you go.
We took a special tour which included sound and digital images projected on the monument.

I took the bus no 531 to the bottom of the hill and then walked all the way up. It's not a very difficult walk but the sun here is really burning so be prepared for that. There are also tour buses going up to the tip from the city center of Mendoza, but I really like to do stuff on my own. It should be on your list for Mendoza City but if you only have a couple of days here, there's prob more interesting stuff to do.

We had the best dinner at Casa Vigil, mostly thanks to Santi who walked us through a six course wine pairing. Some stand out dishes included the Cabaret Franc, the ribs main dish, and the blue cheese foccacia bread, paired with your choice of olive oil, which was amazing.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Casa Vigil, and I couldn't wait to share my glowing review! From start to finish, Daniela, Pablo, and especially Guadalupe provided unparalleled customer service that truly exceeded all expectations.
First and foremost, Guadalupe's warm and welcoming demeanor set the tone for our entire visit. Her attention to detail and genuine care for our satisfaction made us feel like valued guests from the moment we stepped through the door.
Daniela and Pablo also deserve special recognition for their outstanding service. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our experience was nothing short of perfect. Their knowledge of the menu, coupled with their genuine enthusiasm for the cuisine, made our dining experience truly exceptional.
Not only was the customer service impeccable, but the food was also absolutely divine. Each dish was crafted with precision and care, showcasing the culinary mastery of the chefs at Casa Vigil.
Overall, I cannot recommend Casa Vigil highly enough. Whether you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience or simply seeking exceptional customer service, this is the place to be. This place is a must go in Mendoza. For real! The food is out of this world. The service is amazing. They are very polite and work as a team. They have different option for menu. I tried 7 course menu which is pared with 6 different wine option (feel free to ask for more). They also have vegan options and let me tell you. They are as amazing as regular course. Price is on the upper side for Mendoza but worth every penny. Plus you get a tour at the winery before diner and get to know the beautiful history behind the Bodega El Enemigo. Reservation required ahead don't forget (super easy done online).

We’re not wine buffs, but this was a winery worth visiting. We got a nice tour of the grounds, including the interesting concept behind the name, and the curious artistic direction throughout the property. The food was great, and they even gave us a portion of ribs on the house to try, which was exceedingly generous. Wines were topped up if one’s stomach could fit it ;). It would be nice to sit in the garden in warm weather.

Amazing experience, totally worth the visit. We started with a fun but insightful tour. Then we moved to the 7 course menu. And it was lovely! Every dish was well thought through and nicely paired with a wine.

What an amazing experience you must try when visiting Mendoza. Beginning with a detailed tour of the property followed by an impeccable wine paired 7 course tasting dinner complimented by amazing service, the entire evening was fabulous. Alexandra, Sol & Ana gave us a remarkable experience from their service to the knowledge of the wine & the food. The portions were appropriately sized for 7 courses (with the exception of the braised ribs, which we didn’t mind at all having a large portion!!). All around 5 star experience which is why they are listed on the Michelin Guide.

What a spectacular place! Sitting below the olive trees on a wooden deck, having a seven course dinner with the wine tasting was an amazing experience. Definitely a recommend. Staff was great as well. Very attentive.

My partner and I were really looking forward to having a great experience, it was good but not perfect.
We booked a 7 course menu and we were served a 10 course instead.
The reservation said that a tour was included in the price and I called before going to see if we needed to be there at a specific time (our dinner was at 21) and they said that we can just arrive at the reserved time. Unfortunately, no tour was given.
The food was very good, but because the restaurant has a Michelin star, we expected more.
The food relative to the expectations was unfortunately not always as hoped for and lacked taste. Some of the dished were extremely good, some others were ok.
We were served 9 glasses of wine. They were excellent, but couldn't finish them.
The service was very good (not giving 5 stars because of the tour).
We payed 262.000 pesos + tip.
Definetly not worth the price.

Excellent service, very friendly staff. Food was at the edge of being a Michelin star (at the least for the 7 course menu). The wine pairing was excellent except for the sparkling wine with the dessert

Lovely wine and dine experience with great service. Glad that I made it here by uber as my friend who drives can't make this trip.

We had a really great wine and lunch experience there. The food was amazing. All the staff were great, incredibly receptive and very knowledgeable about the menu, the wine and pairings. The atmosphere itself is also great. Initially we were seated outside, which was very beautiful. Because of the Zonda wind, we were moved to an inside hall, which was very cozy.

Videla Aranda 7008, M5519 Maipú, Mendoza, Argentina
Landscaped hot springs complex surrounded by mountains, with several pools, a slide & a restaurant.
1000 ARS per person, come in the morning at 10am when they open up before all the tour buses drop the locals and tourists here. Was here on a Thursday morning (around 11am) and there was already 100s of people here. We opted for this termas over the spa (8000 ars /pp) because the views were similar! We didn't worry too much about the people because we planned to leave after 2 hours of bathing.
What's cool here is there are picnic areas, you can bring meats to grill. There's about 4 pools under the tent, 6 pools outside. There are two water slides that bring you to a pool with a big fountain wrapped with a lazy river. And then there's also another 4-6 pools below.
Water ranges between 25-35 degrees Celsius. There's also a cold water plunge.
Apparently they have lockers for rent, but most people just leave their stuff by the pool. Do bring your own bathing suit, bathrobe (bring from your hotel or rent!), Towels, slippers...
If you forget, there are shops selling stuff outside.
If you are hungry, there's also a few restaurants facing right across. The cool thing about this place is you can go in and out of the termas. So if you're hungry, get a bite and go back to the pool.
They having changing rooms, bathrooms - but I didn't see any showers.

Go. Just go. You won't be disappointed. Lots of great places to eat a few steps outside the park.

It is a wonderful place that has to be te though. Remove that 3er world street market full of trash and will be a totally different story.
J M — Google review
We were here in August, it was pretty cold outside. The temperature of the baths inside was okay, but outside was pretty cold. Plus, there were too many people. There is no place to lock your stuff, so you always have to keep a look at your bags to make sure it's not stolen. They need to install lockers at the very least.
Konstantin Mednikov — Google review
Amazing place. Hot springs whit mountains views.
Ezequiel Lucero — Google review
The place is over crowded, no buck for deal. Definitely stay away if you can
Eunice Celeita — Google review
It certainly is true that the place is stunning, however we did not have a nice experience. The thermal pools were completely cluttered: there wasn’t a pool in which I could bath and not be touching someone. Apart from that, the whole place was overcrowded. The bathrooms, extra pools, etc. I think that the even worst part of this experience was that the thermal pools were not even hot. They were simply like any other normal pool.
Ema Dithurbide — Google review
The rooms were booked way in advance which meant either going to the water park or not going at all.
Be warned that people get there before the opening time and start getting in line. By 10am the place is quite full. You may rent a bathrobe in case you don't have a towel. The interesting part was purchasing meat cuts and barbecuing it outdoors.
Natalia Kodaratos — Google review
It's not worth the trip.
The advertisement is nicely done to promote a very horrible and overcrowded place. It's literally a pool for families with kids with low safety mesures and definitely NOT a spa.
The water is not just dirty. It's so filthy, and I really do not want to know what's all that white stuff swimming inside of it.
Tony — Google review
Our reservation said with transportation. It wasn’t included. This happened to a line of people who made a reservation. The women organizing buses let other customers on who didn’t have spa package before us, told us this shouldn’t have happened, and then laughed. An Uber was 3700 pesos when the shuttle was 4800 for two people. Should’ve taken an Uber instead of coordinating with rude people.
Alex Kuligowski — Google review
This place is overestimated. I would not recommend going here as even during the weeks day it’s super crowded and does not look appealing to get it in to that water full of people. As well entrance fee is 2000 pesos which is way too much for this place. So think twice before going. And avoid on weekends on holidays.
Informal hotel offering mountain views & a thermal spa, plus a buffet restaurant & free breakfast.
We couldn't book online - but lucky they had afternoon half day spots available that we were able to get via walk in. The front desk was super helpful and friendly. We loved our experience here - the different pools were really nice and the mud masque as well. The hot springs here seem way nicer than the public ones down the road.
Now the tricky thing was finding our way back - the front desk called cabs but about 40min wait so plan accordingly.

Did not stay overnight so I did not see the rooms, did a day pass....gave rooms 5 stars because I loved the place! The spa, the springs (thermal), the people, even the mud. Please don't miss the lunch buffet!!! Oh My God...5 stars! Try the "Mindfulness" program the hotel offers. Rodolfo is the guide/musician/facilitator for the day of mindfulness and has such a great energy. Love everything about this place.

A great environment to relax and take away the stress. The different pools allow your body to take off the stress. The mud bath smooths out skin like nothing else. The buffet is amazing with a great variety of foods. The scenery is great. Messages to finish the day were the best idea ever.
Donald Dunning — Google review
Lovely natural hot springs just outside of Mendoza. Would recommend staying overnight so you’re able to take advantage of the facilities for 2 days (you’re able to use the hot springs until 12.30pm on the day you check-out). Staff only spoke Spanish which was a bit of a challenge but they were friendly and accommodating. Food was also decent. Only disappointing aspects of the visit were the wifi (almost unusable) and the massage service which wasn’t very good.
Matt O — Google review
We tried to make an online reservation with the hotel, but communication in Spanish nor English failed. They did not let us pay in cash. We tried tot call 40 times (not kidding), but they did not answer, or they answer and we tried to speak but they hang up or the line was in use. On email they replied after 2 days of having contact. I have never left a bad review, but the service for the price they ask is really bad. We are really disappointed, we tried to come to a solution but they would not compromise. Unfortunately we did not went to the spa, even though we have busy with the reservation for over a week.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Super fun and relaxing experience I would definitely recommend doing at least an afternoon at the spa
Mary DeCaprio — Google review
Visited the thermal spa for a half day as part of a package tour (Spa + Lunch + Rafting).
These hot springs are great, there are a couple of indoor ones and a lot of outdoor. They range in temperature from very hot to cold, (albeit the very hot ones are not crazy temperatures, you can walk in fairly easily).
The surrounding is incredible, being in the middle of the Andes - the outdoor warm pools are a great place to chill and enjoy what's around you.
Facilities seemed quite clean and staff were very helpful when we were there. The pool on the upper floor was pretty quiet so a good place to get away from the more crowded spa pools - however, despite a lot of people around it never felt too busy.
Rishi Bhabutta — Google review
The spa itself is pretty, but the services around it are absolutely awful. You can’t book a massage beforehand so we missed out on one despite calling. There are no drinks or bars anywhere to get a drink, the WiFi doesn’t work so getting a taxi etc is impossible. They don’t show you around the facilities.
The only thing that was good was the lunch although you also had to have it at a very specific time.

Beautiful spa within the mountains. The water is super cozy. Mud baths (or face wash) also fantastic. Feel rejuvenated after this one.

We tried to book the spa and hike package for Friday since Monday. None of our credit cards work despite us booking several trips with them in Argentina. When we emailed and they said it was our problem and did not help at all. We said we can pay cash but no reply. Shocking customer service. Embarrassment to Argentina! They also put the price up overnight by $7,500 pesos.

Nice location. But no towels in the spa, cold food for dinner. Expensive and with a regular relation price/service.

We turned up without a booking and the spa team were very accommodating. Ezequiel was particularly engaging and helpful, clearly wanting us to have the best time possible. The spa itself was great and in a beautiful setting, would thoroughly recommend!

Wonderful hot spring and super nice view. And mud/clay mask. I spent 3 hours there. Buy the ticket on the website. The staff are very nice to allow us to buy tickets on site since it was full on the website.
April Lam — Google review
Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy it with my family because they don't answer the phone. We and other tourists couldn't find the place easily because doesn't have enough signs. They told us that "they don't have a phone". That the place was full but seems that they wanted us to keep begging for it. We didn't want to waste time because we only had 3 hours left to enjoy the area. We left and that was perfect because we had so much fun elsewhere.

The worst experience on our South America journey. We paid USD 450.- (!) for 9 persons but they mixed up the day. We arrived, and were told that it is impossible to enter as we arrived A day too late. Checking the mails we established that we asked for the 27th but they confirmed the 26th. It is true that we could have checked better but there we were, having travelled 12.000km from Europe to be at the spa. One would think that they would show SOME flexibility at 15:00 in the afternoon, but we were not allowed in, despite the fact that we offered to pay usd 450.- once again. Absolute zero flexibility!!

We went to the spring thermal pools which are delightful. The best thing about them is that it all blends with nature. Hope they will not ne intervened by men. The river flows along providing a relaxing melody.
The restaurant serves a wide variety of fresh food meats, fruit and goos wines.
More showers are barhdooms ars needed.

Bodega Ruca Malen is an incredible experience. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. My wife and I were visiting Mendoza from New York City, and we dropped in (no reservation!) for a 7-course lunch with wine pairings. Let me tell you, it was one of the best meals we have EVER had. Each course of the meal was exquisite, and the chef's choices were unique, well-prepared, and incredibly flavorful. We had 5 different wines (whites and reds), and each wine was lovely and perfectly paired with each course. Our server and sommelier were highly attentive, incredibly knowledgeable, and kept our wine glasses full throughout the nearly 3 hour meal. In addition, the bodega is located inside a sprawling and gorgeous vineyard, with the Andes mountains in the background. Much of the staff spoke both English and Spanish. If you are in Lujan de Cuyo, you absolutely must stop by for lunch. You will be talking about this meal for days. If I lived in the region, I would come here at least once a month!

A winery with a restaurant near Mendoza. It was great. The buildings and vineyards were beautiful, and I was able to eat very comfortably.
Although the price is relatively high, you can enjoy wine and food that are worth it. They serve wines that match each course meal. You can buy a bottle of wine to take home.

We went there without a booking to see the property. Unlike many wineries that didn’t let us in without booking, not only they welcome us but also offered us a glass of wine, which was fantastic. The place is stunning and the staff super friendly. We bought several bottles of Malbec.

Great food with amazing views. Some of best food I‘ve ever eaten. Camila did a great job introducing all the ingredientes for every dish. Always professional and very attentive. The Wine, not so great. The Wine pairing menu for 8 courses, about £47 p/p. Expensive compared to other vineyards in the region. Would I do it again? Yes for the food, service and views.

Superb food and wine and all in all, a great way to spend an afternoon just outside of Mendoza. Diana is precious! Such wonderful hospitality and very knowledgeable. We gave her tips about American wineries (California, Oregon, Washington, Finger Lakes region). She was so enthusiastic and inquisitive as were we about this area and history. Unfortunately we visited on Sovereignty Day and missed the restaurant being opened. However, very nice tour and tasting. Absolutely gorgeous property. The wine? Wow! Beautiful petit verdot and Cabernet franc. I have not personally had an Argentinian Pinot noir but I am now a huge fan. Thank you so much for a fun, beautiful, professional experience.

Couldn't ask for much more here. Great service, great wine pairings, amazing ambiance. Because it wasn't too hot, I sat outside watching the clouds roll over the Andes during the dining experience. 2 of the courses that preceeded the main courses were a tad underwhelming. I loved the shrimp dish, and the main dish (beef) was a slam dunk. Overall, superb. My only critique: there were essentially 3 small desserts served...I think it would have been very cool if one of them was a local cheese offering.

Stopped by first thing in the morning with no reservation - Diana greeted us at the door and was an excellent host. We had the Centenario and took one home - excellent wine and value.
Would have loved to take more but needed to manage luggage capacity and shipping wasn’t an option.
Stop by - I think they prefer reservations - but worth the stop!

Would not recommend the 7 course lunch. Firstly and most notably from the lunch, I found a bug in one of my dishes and a hair in another. The staff never apologised or did anything to compensate for this. Overall the lunch is extremely overpriced for the quality of the food. Additionally, when trying to make a reservation I contacted the WhatsApp number as directed on the winery’s Instagram page. After messaging and calling serval times I never received a response. I had however read other reviews where people had simply showed up at the winery for lunch with no problems, so I decided to do this too. However upon arriving I was confronted by a staff member who told me I should have made a reservation in advance by contacting the WhatsApp number, but nonetheless I could be served but it would be rushed. The price was 110,000 pesos per person.
Adam Hamilton — Google review
The place is heaven on earth. The floor seems a thick green carpet, the view of the mountains (still snowy in November!) and the beautiful weather made us have an exquisite experience. Nevertheless the food (although 6 pasos) was scarce and the wine was somewhat short (less than a glass every step of the way) for the AR$1,500 we paid per person. If you are lucky you get a nice waiter that serves you a bit more. Overall we had a great time. Arrive early as 12pm to get a table outside if the weather is nice.
With a main building in Mayan style, this winery is known for its high-altitude Malbec.
We stopped by unexpectedly and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. We tasted their amazing Malbec. Our visit was complimented with access to the upper deck which offered incredible views and a brief but very fun visit to their cellar. This place is a must come back for us 😎🍷

Very nice experience. The building is unique and impressive. The tour explains the different kind of soils they have in their vineyards and the difference between the different altitudes etc. Leonardo, the guide, also gave a lot of insights on the wines, which tasted very good. Highly recommended

I had been looking forward to visiting this winery(bodega) and I am glad to have finally made it. The architecture of the building is Mayan and is definitely a sight to see. I did the wine and music tour and it was interesting and different than any other tour I have done. I could see how music can affect your taste after experiencing this. The wine is top notch and the facilities are incredible. You will need a reservation to get into the place. Also be aware when walking around and taking photos you will be asked if you need any help. If you are in Mendoza this is a must see winery.

I already visited several wineries arround the world. This winery is the most beautiful I ever visited. There people are very friendly and helpful. If you are a winelover, Catena-Zapata is a MUST.
Joel Rubim — Google review
The vineyard visit was amazing! The guide was very friendly and really took the time to explain the lovely history of the brand and how family plays a central role in everything. You really get to learn about and taste the difference in each of the malbecs they feature. The tour was informative as well as tasty as it also came with a degustation of local snacks that paired perfectly with the wine.
They now also have a restaurant close to la pirámide. It is a must visit not just for the delectable tasting menu but also for the beautiful architecture and the treasures it holds underneath. We opted for the smaller tasting menu and left full and satisfied. Bodega Catena Zapata should be a must on everyone’s list of places to visit!

We did the Wine and Music tour. The winery is beautiful and the view of the Andes is amazing. The wine tour was good. The wine and music tasting was fun, but I was expecting live music and the music was played from a speaker. The wines were tasty. Outside of the tour was staff was not very nice. Everywhere we went they asked us what we were doing and it felt like they were trying to push us out. Overall, more expensive than other experiences that give you a lot more.

Nice bodega in the heart of the Uco Valley. We booked a tour and subsequent lunch in the restaurant. The tour was good, although it was on a very high level. It was more about the bodega and the process of winemaking instead of the wine itself. The lunch was very good as well. We had the three courses menu with typical Argentinean dishes

Excellent food, service & staff, with lots of atmosphere. You can ‘dine in’ or in a couple of patio’s. A great place to dine. They provide entertainment although I most dearly would have preferred traditional music as opposed to a saxophonist (although many people did like him apparently).

We absolutely loved our lunch today. The atmosphere is more laid back than other vineyards we have visited. They just leave the bottles on the table for you to help yourself, which we enjoyed very much. The food was divine. I had the pork belly and my wife had the pork shoulder. Both were terrific. And all 3 of the starters were delicious as well.
It is a great value as well. We paid more than twice as much for the tasting menu lunch at another nearby vineyard this week and Bodega La Azul was as good if not better.

My wife and I had the 5 course lunch here, and we really enjoyed the experience. It was especially fun because we dined a few hours before the Argentina and Croatia World Cup futbol match, so the entire staff was hyped up and in a party mood. With the 5 course tasting, the main course could be drastically reduced. So much of it went to waste and we all agreed the entree could have been cut in half and still been plenty of food.
The wine tasting was casual, it felt a bit more or just table wine with lunch but still very enjoyable
Sara Sowsian — Google review
Excellent food (option of 5 or 3 course menu), endless (good!) wine, outstanding staff. One of the best lunch/tasting experiences I’ve had. Be sure to make a reservation… they’re busy during lunch hour.
T. M. — Google review
Easily the highlight of Mendoza and its Uco Valley wine region. You would be foolish to come to Mendoza and not visit La Azul for at least a few hours. The setting, staff, food and wine were all top-notch.
First and foremost, a lot of vineyards in the Uco Valley are very fancy, sharp -- all in a very modern art style. We visited a number of them. And that's nice, and the wine is always at least good. But La Azul is much more relaxed, fun and colorful, and the experience there is centered around the restaurant.
Get a reservation for lunch no later than 2:30. We did the five-course lunch, and every course was amazing and worth it. The wood-fired oven bread bites were dangerously good and unlimited. So was the wine (truly, unlimited with the meal!!). You try five with lunch. I wondered if the wine here would be good, and absolutely, it was as great as the food! They don't have 30 different bottles and varieties like some places, but what they had was great and worth buying to bring back (the Gran Reserva Malbec in particular). They still have a dozen varieties.
The dining area had a live sax player and occasionally got everyone clapping and cheering along. It was truly an entertaining atmosphere.
The production tour is simple but great, especially letting us test a wine right out of the barrel (still had months to go); no other place did that.
There is a lot of seating outdoors to relax, enjoy and digest. The staff were the friendliest on our whole trip (having a cute 9-month-old maybe helped).
So, go here, get a reservation, be ready to eat, enjoy the outdoors around the property and spend up to a half day here. The location is great, too, as there are other vineyards of all types around, from the very formal Salentein (has an art museum worth a stroll) to the more rustic Domaine Bousquet (also amazing wine/food).

One of the most delightful afternoons I have ever had! This place is a gem, no matter who you are or where you’re from. The staff is amazing and has a great, welcoming, hospitable energy. The atmosphere is cozy. The wine is delicious and the food will have you making yummy noises with every bite. And the sax player they had entertaining was awesome! Honestly cant think of a single thing i would change about this perfect little spot! An absolute ‘must do’ when in Mendoza!

Espacio Salentein is a modern winery located in the UCO Valley, surrounded by stunning views of mountains and vineyards. The building itself is made of cast concrete and offers a unique setting for wine enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy an exquisite menu paired with fine wines while taking in the beautiful Andes scenery. The venue also hosts art events, musical shows, and even serves as a destination wedding location.
Great place but make sure you reserve first or else you're stuck with just walking the grounds.
Amazing menu, it's an experience for the senses. Great food, wine acompanied by a beautiful view of the Andes, there's nothing like it.
If you smoke, you can step out onto the porch and sit in the sofas-enjoy an incredible view, don't forget your wine glass.
Great service and I recommend buying their wine glasses at the gift shop and the olive oil. 🫒

We arrived there just on time for lunch.
We were on one of the first tables to be seated. After choosing our menu and getting our first plate we realized that all the other tables had gotten some bread with some type of sauce. They forgot about us and totally pretended not to see that (even when they came to take the plates). The food is really good! But nothing special at all. I’d expect something more elaborated for this price (10,500.00 per person). The second thing that got me intrigued is that there was a street dog roaming around the restaurant and the waiters pretended that it was something normal. The dog was full of fleas and totally not taken care of. None of the waiters took the dog away (you would expect a high level restaurant not to have street animals roaming between the tables). At some point the dog even jumped on my GF and got her blouse mud dirty. The third and last thing was that there was SO MUCH trash on the grass. Pieced of paper, plastic, cigarettes. It seems like no one has ever cleaned that up. In the end, I’d recommend you to take the tour but eat somewhere else (maybe even better for that price tag). I didn’t enjoy it at all.

My wife and I had a fabulous time on a private tour at Bodega Salentein. Our tour guide, Marcelo, made the experience memorable with his passionate and knowledgeable presentation, and we felt so very welcomed. The six wines we tried were all excellent and each at the top of its class. Our favorite was the Numina Gran Corte, which is a blend of malbec, cabernet, merlot, cab franc, and petit verdot. The Primus malbec 2015 was excellent as well. The tour normally takes 1.5 hours but we got along so well with Marcelo, it was well over 2 hours and we were still in tasting room when Marcelo finally was asked to move on. Just to demonstrate the tremendous hospitality this Bodega shows its visitors. Would love to re-visit next time we're in Mendoza.

The wait staff were accommodating.
Food was not great. We paid 5000 pesos for two people for a tasting that should have cost 2500. Small portions mediocre taste. WAY To OVER PRICED. They should be ashamed to be charging that much for what we got. We had dinners twice as good and twice as filling in Buenos Aires for half the price. This place needs a major change.

Bodega La Abeja is a historic winery established in 1883, offering guided tours and tastings. Visitors have praised the smaller, more private group tours that offer numerous complimentary wine tastings of about 5 or 6 different wines. The knowledgeable tour guides provide insights into the winemaking process, including grape harvesting and bottling. Guests appreciate the friendly and informative staff, with special mentions for guides like Sofi and Juan Pablo who enhance the experience with their expertise and humor.
We messaged on WhatsApp to schedule an appointment. The tour was enjoyable, and the wine tasting at the end was fantastic, with numerous samples. For $2000, it was an outstanding value, and we also received a full glass of house wine for only $200 while we waited for the tour to begin.

Nagaoka accepts criticism cheerfully, and uses criticism productively to develop own abilities and skills. When working to a firm but realistic deadline, Nagaoka always completes tasks to an adequate standard. Accuracy and neatness may suffer but the outcome is acceptable. Puts in some extra hours to meet the deadline. When dressed for the job, personal appearance and dress immediately impress. Distinctive, perhaps distinguished. Performs most jobs well and has the habit of checking work outcomes. Nagaoka is achieving excellence in some areas but in others is not yet achieving the highest standards.
A persuasive, engaging speaker when well-prepared, but uncomfortable and less effective when asked to speak off-the-cuff. Nagaoka enjoys working without supervision and usually continues to carry out duties effectively. Still needs to learn when it is appropriate to call for a supervisor’s advice or authority to act. Habitually asks questions in order to fully understand a position or a statement. Keeps asking until the facts are clear and the truth is understood. Can work in a team but often produces individual work at the end of a group activity. Not supportive or tolerant of others in the team.

Las Leñas is well known for their après time vibes, a few challenging runs and the best off piste terrain in Argentina. And, of course, being the only true ski in / ski out resort down here.
And boy … do they know that and maker that.
As mentioned it’s THE place if you enjoy off piste… the actual runs are average, not that challenging leaving aside Marte zone where you can’t get some fun advanced terrain. They have a respectable beginners area for Argentina standards and adding they hotel / bars / restaurant offer right at the base, a place to be enjoyed by skiers of all levels.
It does gets terribly packed in the heavy season, not a lot of lifts makes that experience not that enjoyable so it would be wise to try to avoid July … but their snow in the last few years was scarce at best … so trip down when you have to!

Great tracks, and great snow most of the season. Off tracks are easy to find and also really fun. Views are excellent too. Problems are the snow by mid August, and the lifts are the slowest you'll ever encounter.

Don’t ever come to this place , all the facilities and hotels are all outdated and horribles dirty ! Everything’s stuck in the 80 ‘s , besides how racists are all the services members especially if you are an Asian avoid this place , spend your money somewhere else but not here! I mean not all the Argentinian they are so racists but the people that they can afford to come here , even the place is crabby but they think they are rich 😂and consider themself Europeans 😂 ! Soooo listen to my advise and don’t come at all 🤠👍

Perched in the amazing peaks of the Argentine Andes this is a small ski resort by European standards but the piste skiing is great as long as the Marte lift is open (maybe 50% of the time). The lifts are old and slow
Alex Campbell — Google review
I have my own disagreement on how to rate this.
As a “ski resort” I rate it below average (3 stars is average), comparing it to other major sky resorts of Argentina.
As a “Mountain to sky” I can extend to to 4 points, with many good runs and nice snow.
So let’s see why 2 stars:
1. poor poor poor poor infrastructure... been here 20 years ago, and it seems all the same. One day did spend an unreasonable time doing lines for the lifts (meaning that in all ski resorts you will do reasonable lines).
2. Ski rentals offer is poor, leading the companies to charge you whatever they want, since there is no competition.
3. Very small places to eat at the mountains , one better than the other, still not at the quality you expect for the money you pay
4. Not good airport communication, so you pay a lot of extra money if you do not have a package
5. Since is just that, a ski resort far away from cities, you have to just relax and be prepared to charge you expensive prices to eat or drink.
I’m sorry is not as good as its marketing
Makes it look like.
Milton Schneider — Google review
If you're used to northern hemisphere skiing, this isn't as good as say, Squaw Valley, California or Kitzbuhel, Austria.
Argentines seem to be more concerned about posing than skiing. But then these are the rich 5%.
However, if your here in July then it's pretty decent for South America. Not expensive either.

Nice place to enjoy the day, in the middle of scarce snow
Valle Hermoso is a truly picturesque valley that offers various transportation options, including trucks and motorcycles. However, it is also accessible by car if driven slowly. The campsite provides accommodations in the form of domes or tents and offers amenities such as bathrooms. Additionally, meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available for purchase. It's worth considering fuel availability as the nearest gas stations can be found around 100km away in Sosneado or Malargue.

The peace of the place is wonderful. Many vehicles making tent picknicks on the river bank.

(Translated by Google) The place is beautiful, I would say that it is only suitable for trucks since there are more than 60 km of gravel. The score is because the attention we receive from the people who work at the campsite leaves a lot to be desired, very rude and ungrateful! It would be good if they hired people who at least say “good morning, thank you” since the services they provide are ALL paid for. The wifi seems ridiculous to me that you have to pay per person!

Once you arrive at the lagoon you realize that it is appropriated by a campsite that unfortunately is not up to the standard of the place. It has a restaurant that leaves much to be desired and the entrance fee to get even remotely close to the Lagoon is $800 per person. The lagoon is totally worth it but it is a shame to appropriate a natural reserve in this way, fencing it with wire.

The guide at the Planetario Malargüe provided an excellent explanation, delivering intriguing and easily understandable information. The projection was captivating, and the installation where they showcased the film was beautiful. However, a drawback was that all seats were occupied without any social distancing measures in place. To address this issue, it would be beneficial to offer more time slots with fewer people in attendance.

(Translated by Google) It is a must-see in Malargüe, it has two times to attend the guided tour and the projections inside the pyramid. The locations are numbered so I recommend going early because the later numbers have a worse location and you could also run out of a place if a LOT of people go (the same, I arrived a few minutes after the start of that guide's shift and got a place). The projections are some very good, others decent, but what is very good are the explanations of whoever is speaking at that moment, very clear and interesting.
The first part, in which a guide accompanies the tour through the rest of the planetarium, is a bit poor because a single guide is in charge of all the stands, which makes the explanations of each one very superficial. It could be solved with a little more staff.
It is inexpensive, the visit costs $200 per person (adults), and the visiting hours are 4:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., each visit lasting 2 hours.
(Original)
