The Park "Aldeia do Imigrante" celebrates the German culture of Nova Petropolis and, as such, is on our list. The space features typical german buildings, crafts shops, and many colonial delicacies. surrounded by natural beauty and good infrastructure, the park makes a great family outing.

I learned about the entire manufacturing process of Edelbrau Beer and the products.
I was enchanted by the bergamot beer, it's very good, I bought the kit that came with a glass cup.
The service and guided tour were perfect.
And at the end of the guided tour you can taste Edelbrau beer.
I loved the part that tells the story of the cuckoo, which is inside a door.
There's the part about training your senses based on the ingredients in the beers, it's great.
It is a very interactive tour, there is a typewriter to leave messages and your impressions of the tour.
It is well worth visiting and trying the exceptional quality beers.

For those who like a beer, the guided tour of the Edelbrau brewery is a great opportunity to learn about the entire beer-making cycle and, in addition, you can taste 5 types of beers manufactured by Edelbrau. The guide was very "good people" explaining a little history of the factory and everything about beer making.
The little shop has products that are worth taking as a souvenir. Some other types of beers only exist for sale and were not at the tasting.

Winter-themed park with an alpine-style village & an indoor, snow-covered hill for skiing & tubing.
We didn’t expect that we were able to Ski and Snowboard in Brazil.
We can enjoy it with artificial snow.
We can rend cloth, shoes and grove to do snow tube slider.
And if we pay additional fee, we can Ski and Snowboard. We can also rend Ski and Snowboard tool. On the weekend, there will be very crowded. So you need to buy entrance fee by interest in advance.
Papipupenta — Google review
Snowland can only be described as one of those tourist money grabbing places – as South Park would put it, you're basically paying for a winter's line ride simulator. For starters, the place is very unorganized, from the architecture, to the signaling, to the lack of staff. Oftentimes you don't even know if you're heading to the right direction and you can't even see most of the rides in advance – so you can decide if you will wait almost 1h in line to try the ice "motion" or the ice "slide"!?
Your tickets, by the way, will only give you access to the ice skating rink, this fast and boring ice slides and the possibility to buy extra (and expensive) things inside of the "park". You're pretty much spending money to be granted the possibility to spend more money inside.
Even the hot chocolate, which is a given for both the host and the visitors in such those parks are extremely poorly managed: basically, there's a single small shop that sells it inside of the "snow" area, with 2 people inside. The chocolate is considerably expensive and, as I think you can expect by now, machine made and nothing to write home about. But, hey, at least you can spend another 30+ minutes in yet another line to get it.
In summary, (and unfortunately,) Snowland means 4+ hours in line to get a bad hot chocolate and 16 minutes of mediocre fun. Don't be fooled: spend your time, money and energy elsewhere. Gramado is full of great attractions.
Eduardo Malheiros — Google review
It's okay but hasn't reached my expectations. They didn't have XXL winter's suits available, and the clothing was missing some buttons and zipper cursor was jammed! My pants fell off in public at the ice-motion queue. It was really embarrassing. Speaking of which, it was beyond crowded and they are not following the sanitary protocol. Foods, snacks, drinks, and souvenirs are extremely expensive. It was stressful at the end of the day. I'll think twice before going there again.
Fellipe Madeira — Google review
The park is really nice, especially for kids. However, when it's too crowded it's not well organized. We had to wait over an hour just to get dressed in at least three different queues. It can be confusing.
Jorge Lopez Sherman — Google review
Rather overrated. Yes it's a cool place to visit (pun intended), but it's still a fridge packed with people. You'll face long lines in the cold to go down ice sliders that aren't that much fun. The food at the restaurant is average and expensive.
Aleksander Lada — Google review
Awful experience during the school holidays. Heavily overbooked, super long queues, uttet chaos when having to find clothes, boots and gloves. Few staff members and management on site to help. And when we managed to get to the 'snow' after 2 hours, we went tubing once because the queues were so ridiculous. So then we thought we'd go ice skating, to find that the last time was 4.30pm. Utter waste of money and will never return.
Gemma Falconer — Google review
great place. lots of fun but my 6 year-old wasn't tall enough to even ice skate
Kevin Sutherland — Google review
Awful experience. Chaotic, overcrowded, overpriced, long hours in line, extra charges for needed equipment for which they don't have all sizes. I felt I was in a war zone. Free for all. Oh, there's more, they charge $30 for the safe. Don't recommend. You will pay R$ 600 to be in lines, mistreated, and disappointed.

(Translated by Google) We arrived with 6 adults and 2 children on a Saturday weekend. We understand that this would cause a wait, but we did not imagine that it would take more than 1 hour for the food to arrive. More than 30 minutes for the drinks to arrive, and even then, they handed us a beer that we had been seeing sitting on the counter for more than ten minutes, now hot.
The food on the menu is beautiful, but the actual food is terrible. Salad with so many leaves that there is no room for the other ingredients on the plate, completely unseasoned; emptiness that looks anything but empty; super hard cassava, impossible to eat; ribs 12 hours pure fat; a dish that didn't come.
It was impossible to talk to a waiter while we waited, they quickly passed by the table without looking at the customers. When we got up to ask about our orders, they said they would look into it and didn't give us any feedback.
Oh, as for the price, they charge much higher than what they offer. You can't consider that it's a cheap place and that's why the service and food are terrible.
All in all, it was a bad experience. I really hope they improve or change management soon, as the spot is great for those who visit the beautiful Lago Negro.

Very well done miniature world with creative adventures hidden between the small buildings. The kids had a blast trying to find all of the secrets, and the adults enjoyed marveling at the constructions. Staff and mascots were very friendly. Caracol Park is a state park that offers easy access to a 130-meter high waterfall, Caracol Falls, without the need for hiking or dirt roads. The location is about a 10-minute drive from Canela's city center and has various attractions like artisan shops and the Estacao Sonho Vivo train ride that narrates the region's history. Aside from the waterfall, visitors can also enjoy scenic views from a tower and cable car ride.

Like many things in Gramado/Canela, the Caracol Park is overpriced. R$75 for an adult or 90 with the mirador. Add to that parking (30) and if you want to do the little train inside (hard to avoid with kids) it’s another 20.
The views are nice, and compared to other things in the area it’s not a complete rippoff, but it’s too expensive nonetheless
It’s not accessible like they claim. If you’re on a wheelchair forget about it. If you’re with a stroller, prepare for a treat: the gravels uphill are a delight!

Go in the morning and you'll have a better view of the waterfall (and shadows behind). The trails are easy, but my 80 yo father was struggling as they are not all paved.

Very nice park with waterfalls and wild animals. It is a perfect place for you coming with your family for a happy day. However, remember that this is a touristic place. So, if you don't like crowded places, it is better you come during the weeks days, in low season periods.

I would give a five star if it wasn't for the entrance ticket price.

The falls are quite impressive but this is a expensive touristic attraction. You can't get close to the water and you have to pay extra if you want to access the best spot to have a picture of yourself with the falls

Miragem Livraria in Sao Francisco de Paula has become a popular tourist spot due to its unique ambiance. The three-story building offers a diverse experience to visitors. The ground floor boasts an extensive collection of books, while the second floor showcases beautiful decorative items. On the third floor, you can find art exhibitions and a cozy reading room. At the entrance, there is a friendly elderly woman who greets guests warmly.
Super friendly older lady at the entrance. Unfortunately not a lot of English books but that adds to the experience. It's a magical place which is only made better if someone is playing the piano.

Acqua Lokos, a serene establishment boasting cozy log cabins and offering an array of amenities such as a water park, petting zoo, restaurant, and bar. The water park itself provides thrilling rides that are pleasurable for visitors, along with delectable food options at reasonable prices. However, it is advisable to avoid weekends due to potential long queues. This remarkable destination presents diverse opportunities for amusement and dining experiences.
Incredible place. First, it's huge and there's so much to do. Took our 3 year old and there were a surprising amount of activities for someone her age. There are lots of pools and splashpads, various water slides for all ages and aventurine levels, a lazy river, a wave pool, pedal boats on the lake, a train ride to a farm with animals, roller coasters (even for toddlers), a ferris wheel, multiple play areas/ playgrounds. You could easily spend a couple of days here enjoying the park.
There are also bathrooms everywhere which is so nice with a little kid.
Tons of food choices and lots of chairs/ umbrellas for shade.
They also have a giant indoor water area if you want to go in the winter or even just get out of the sun a bit.
Overall amazing experience and if I lived closer I'd be getting the annual pass.

Itaimbezinho is the most visited canyon in the region, located in the Aparados da Serra National Park, just 18 km from Cambara do Sul. Accessible via a stone dirt road, it offers lush trails with sweeping views of the gorge and surrounding park. The 3.5km walk to see the canyon exit is highly recommended for its impressive landscape, making it a great destination for families.
The canyons park is good. The 3.5km walk to see the canyon exit is very good, and the landscape is very impressive. Good to go with your family. Remember to get a jacket before to go: the weather changes quickly.

The most beautiful part of this place is the nature. Therefore there's no have safe structure for your children or pets. There's no signals or posts of directions on the road. The road that we used was very straight. But, I have a good point to explain: the view is exciting! And there's a lot of plant types. You'll take a lot of photos on end of the day, when the sun is running away.

Farol de Santa Marta is a picturesque lighthouse situated amidst sandy beaches and dunes, renowned for its breathtaking panoramic views from the top. It's an idyllic destination to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. However, signal reception may not be reliable in some areas due to its remote location. The village itself is quite petite with limited night-time activities, but there are stunning beaches nearby that can be accessed via short trails.
The village didn't change much in the last 10 years, which - for me - is positive. I love the atmosphere. The lighthouse is somewhat nostalgic. If you're lucky, the Cardoso beach will surprise you with nice waves and crystal clear water.

Spectacular view from the top of the hill where the lighthouse sits. You have to park your car on the street and walk up a trail to the top of the hill , but it’s and extremely easy walk without too much inclination. It was summer when we went, so flowers were blooming and butterflies where hovering all around. This is a fascinating location for birdwatchers given the variety of birds flying around the trail. Once at the top of the hill and facing north, there’s is a stunning view of an old cemetery overlooking the ocean and a sand dune covered beach. Facing west, you are directly about the beach and town of Santa Marta. And East, is obviously an open view of the ocean crashing upon rocks. The lighthouse was closed, but even so, the view is worth the short hike up.

An antique lighthouse that long ago functioned with whale oil.
Beautiful and well-maintained, with bright white paint. The reason I only gave 4 stars was due to faulty directions, Google deposited us next to a cemetery. A couple of locals told us we could get to the lighthouse from there, and we found a section of fence missing and a small footpath twisting among cactus and tall grasses and weeds. Once we arrived at the lighthouse we pivoted and saw a sign behind us warning that venomous snakes were in that area. The area we had just crossed. Now we had a snake-infested field between us and 12-yr-old and our car. We couldn't shout a warning to our kid because of the wind and waves, but fortunately he didn't try to follow us.
Anyway, I'm going to try to suggest a different route, but if you end up next to a cemetery, don't walk through the plants to get to the lighthouse!

The Beer Museum in Blumenau is a place where visitors can explore the region's history of beer production with videos and antique brewing equipment. It is currently under renovation, but is scheduled to open in the second half of 2022. Eisenbahn Bierhaus, one of the brewery not to be missed on your list, is located nearby.
Who would have thought it a beer museum in Brazil? There is a limited amount to see inside but this is more than compensated for by the entertaining and highly knowledgeable guide. Who would have thought that a Brazilian knew about Thornbridge Brewery. Well worth the visit

Beto Carrero World is a popular family amusement park in Penha, Santa Catarina, known for its themed thrill rides, live cabaret shows, zoo and horse riding. The park spans over 10 million square meters with eight different areas each featuring a unique theme. Although some attractions like the kids rollercoaster were closed during our visit, the initiative to introduce Master Chef points has expanded the culinary offerings.
I’m from Mexico and I wanted to experience this place. It was really fun. I highly recommend to buy fast passes for some attractions because the line was long.
Also bring a lot water because is exhausting walk around whole day.
Some restaurants are good and some are really bad. I ordered a sandwich and I have to throw away because taste was so bad.
I recommend eat inside of the nerf arcade.

We had a really nice time there. We arrived right at the open time, was not a busy day at all, so I suppose we were lucky! We just took some minutes to go to the roller coaster and to many other attractions. The food is very expensive, for a normal food. The meal hall is very old, should be renewed as well as add more ventilation, it was sooo warm in there! We had cakes in some bakeries, which were sooo good. The new attraction was also very fun. The theater that happen during the day and evening are really worth it to see, you gonna have fun. + you don’t have to be a kid to be here, just go, I am sure you gonna have fun. There are different attractions, many many restaurants, many kiosks, zoo, candy shops and attractions for all ages!

Nice amusement park with lots of attractions for people of different ages and taste. So much to do and see so be ready to spend the whole day there. If you go make sure to buy tickets in advance (they are also cheaper) and to buy the express option (skip line) given that the park is very crowd so without it you will just be able to go to a very few rides (1h or more average time without it). Protect yourself from the sun (it is very hot there and there are almost no shade anywhere) and when purchase drinks make sure to buy plenty as the line for these are huge too. Very popular attraction! If you go, the hot wheels show is a must!!

Is one of the best parks in the north of Santa Catarina state. A typical German restaurant. Very good food and a stunning nature view. You can even use a kiosk and bring your own food or BBQ. It worth to visit.

Snack bar
Lanchonete Beach Point is a snack bar that offers excellent service and delicious food. Their crepes are not only very tasty but also generously portioned, making them a satisfying meal option. The pastries they serve are also generous and can be considered a complete meal in themselves. The prices at Lanchonete Beach Point are very affordable, making it an ideal place for a quick snack without breaking the bank.

(Translated by Google) Overrated trip, it is beautiful yes, but there is nothing grand, in the first hour of the trip, those on the right side only see garbage, debris thrown very close to the tracks, in addition to the lack of zeal along the way, the train is falling apart , bathroom without water, faulty flush, at 8 am the bathroom was already filthy, with many papers thrown on the floor.
