Awesome experience! A half day fun trip. The place is easy to locate on the ORR. The studio tour is main attraction having Baahubali set and all. The other shows were also fun and entertaining. Has many eateries and lots of seating. The buses also take you around from place to place, so medium amount of walking. The crowd management is excellent and it's overall a fun trip.

Worth a visit if you are on a trip to Hyderabad - it is around 1 1/2 hours drive from City Centre. Gives an idea as to how films are made and sets are constructed. Need to either reach by around 9 am or stay there in one of the hotels inside the previous evening as you need a full day to see everything. Even a full day is a bit rushed. Best to pick up tickets ('Studio Tour' is good enough) online, go to the centre point (Eureka), attend the opening ceremony at 9.45 am, proceed to Studio Tour/Eco Tour (must do), have lunch, then go for the shows. Don't miss the Wild West Stunt Show! Lights, Camera, Action is interesting too. Rest of the shows are average, especially for someone who has been to other studios/sets elsewhere. Food within RFC is average or even below average. RFC can make the experience better by putting up their detailed e-brochure, program and map on their website. Their email IDs and contact numbers on the website are unresponsive and this is an issue they should address. They should also plant more trees! Overall, it is a nice experience while on a Hyderabad trip but considering the resources, the management can do so much more to make it a 'must see before I die' experience.

Very nice and well maintained. The support staff is very helpful. Over all good experience. Food is little big costly. The free activities when we reached most on it has not started. Was not worth going there. Garden and bonsai collection is very good. Opening and closing ceremony is very good.
Suhani Sharma — Google review
Beautiful, gigantic but extremely overpriced and overhyped.
Pros:
A real city, you can get lost
Very beautiful and great for movie and nature lovers
Lots of greens and nice movie sets which can make you wonder
Cons:
Extremely overpriced
Kids can hardly enjoy
Toddlers will have to pay for the ticket although there is nothing for them
Some of the rides that kids and toddlers can enjoy will cost you extra, not included in the ticket
Bus tour route is circular, meaning A - > B - > C - > D - > A, so you can't visit, say point A from from point C.
You will get bored after a point as seeing only movie sets for the whole day is actually not that interesting as it sounds
P.S.:
Those who have seen Universal Studios and think this one also as the same, please note, that both are very different.
Pushan Bhattacharya — Google review
Despite being THE biggest and the largest film city in the world, it is maintained very well. The tour buses inside the film city are not only well maintained, neat and clean but also have very well trained, jovial and friendly guides.

Full day of excitement and fun. Best place to enjoy with family and kids. Baahubali set was the main attraction. Best time to visit this place is during winter as you need to walk a lot and hence in summer it will be very tiring. Lot of restaurants and snacking bar available at almost all locations.
Movie magic is another attraction where you enjoy movie making experience. Overall a great time well spent

Awesome place to hangout with friends or family. I visited in carnival season. Amazing sets. So beautiful. Full day trip with all sets and adventure park . Zip line, Arrow shooting, rain dancing, and many more games. You can book online and definitely skip the hectic queue.they are having their own shiny red buses inside to travel from one set to other. Food and water available inside. Very clean washrooms .kids have their own playing area with some rides and a great entertainment show with jinn , wonderful staff will show beautiful play to your child and will make them laugh. Last, you can enjoy many rides in their amusement area and enjoy snacks over there.

Fantastic experience. Car parking is near to ticket counter. Smooth entry and no waiting for bus. It takes about 15 minutes to actual Film City from ticket counter. Thereafter everything is arranged and organised so well that it becomes a day to remember. The volunteers are polite and helpful guiding the tourists all day long. Besides many film sets, there are plenty of parks and they are maintained impeccably. The cleanliness all around is outstanding and kudos to all who maintain it. The shows are all good and try not to miss them. Small food kiosks are available at every site and reasonably priced. Washrooms are very very clean. Moreover, drinking water is available at every place and one need not carry water bottles. The free rides offered in park are awesome. Moving around in customized red buses is special. Overall, an enjoyable day. Thanks to management.

I'd need to write a lengthy essay to fully describe everything. All I can say is that it's fantastic, incredible, and totally worth the 1593 rupees. You'll visit each spot one by one, starting with the opening ceremony, studio tour, European cities, Japanese garden, eco-tour, butterfly garden, and much more. Check out my photos for a better idea.

Top class! I was surprised that we have places like this in India.
Very well organized right from the time you enter the parking. All the shows were superb.
If you don't want to miss anything, reach there early - it takes one full day.
Towards the end there is butterfly park and collection of beautiful birds - they even have Ostriches.
Cafeterias are clean and food is okay.
When you reach, don't forget to take the bus tour first, that way you will know how much you are actually going to see and you can plan your time spent at each attraction properly.
A must visit place. The ticket rates are extremely reasonable. In fact, towards the end, I heard so many people say the tickets are priced so low considering what they have on offer.
Totally worth it!!!

A full on entertainment. Must place to visit for all age groups. The longer you stay the better it is. Tough to cover in one day. There are movie sets, parks, gardens, actions, dance sequences, horror house, food joints and full of adventure. Area wise it’s very big but there are buses from the pick up point which takes you inside.
Mukta Agarwal — Google review
It’s a beautiful experience. One should walk a lot. There will be many buses to hop on and hop off from one destination to another. It’s really a must watch city where almost every film sets have been set up and different parks have also been set up. It’s a very different experience people can experience. There are few hotels also where booking can be done for stay and see Ramoji film city. There are huge options to explore food items as well
Preethi Ashok — Google review
It is a very good place for people who have seen the movies and love to explore the sets. Overall it is not worth the ticket price. All the items here are overpriced. The items in the adventure park are also way too costly. And the complementary ones are of no use. The food is good. The bus system is also a bit wierd. The buses only leave when there is a significant amount of crowd in the bus. But otherwise it was a good experience.
Dhruv Abhyankar — Google review
Must visit while in Hyderabad.
Located around 60 kms from main Hyderabad city.
Spread over 1600 acres.
They have buses from the parking area to the film city and back.
Multiple buses are in service.
Full day tickets, morning or evening session tickets are available.
Very well organized and staff are always helpful and advice where to go after every show.
The usual waiting time is 15 to 20 minutes for the shows.
Multiple food stalls are available everywhere in the film city.
Food is costlier compared to hotels but still cheaper than malls.
Buses are available from point to point and are always available.
Need at least a full day to cover all the places.
The important thing is people will start getting tired by 4 pm since we need to walk a bit within the studios even though buses are there.

If you are going to Hyderabad and not visiting "Ramoji Film City" then you should think 2Wice.
So being an Indian we all have lots of influence of Indian Cinema Directly or indirectly on our life's through music, comedy, films, stories or any other way. So Ramjoji gives us the insight what goings on the other sides of the screen and how they shows us larger then life characters, scenes, actions.
Its worth the price for sure. You need a whole day to explore and you should start early with the opening ceremony and you should stay till closing ceremony. Staff puts lots of efforts for sure to make sure we are having fun in a cinematic style.
Few things which they lack or its not worth is the food they sell inside. Had very bad experience with this. Being so pricy they don't deliver the kind so service you expect and even the food quality is not that great. Specially buffets are not watched for the hygiene or the cleanliness. So my 4 star are for the food outlets they have inside.
Other than food it was an wonderful experience for sure.
Thank You. 🙏🏽

It's a must visit for everyone to see the world's largest film studio. Management is doing a good job, they keep providing the helpful information to see and help all the way from beginning to end. Drinking water and toilet facilities available at every place whereever you are going to need. It's once in a lifetime experience. There are lots of things to see and experience in one day , difficult to see cover everything in one day, still you can manage to see all if you will hurry. Food is expensive inside though , they should keep it reasonable, lots of people are coming here everyday .

One of the most entertaining places in Hyderabad for both adults and kids. There are different movie sets along with railway station, airport, shopping areas, some of the Indian and world famous monuments, many gardens, birds park with variety of interesting birds, butterfly and bonsai gardens, many different plants and flower gardens, restaurants, kids related entertainment and shows like Spirit of Ramoji, Action Show, Movie Making, Space Yatra, Rain Dance etc. It took us almost 9 hours to see most of the places. The Star Experience package was great.

Good place for family entertainment. Please book tickets in advance. You can either opt for full day trip or even a night stay where they have 3 different hotels available within premises.
Provide food(lunch) and high tea both of which were upto the mark. Lots of places to visit. Dance show, stunt show, movie making show, botanical gardens, shooting sets, bahubali set, airplane and train setup, kids entertainment area and finally rides & musical show. Absolute fun.

The Salar Jung Museum in Hyderabad is a treasure trove of art and artifacts collected by Nawab Mir Yusuf Ali Khan, also known as Salar Jung III. Over the course of 35 years, he dedicated his life to amassing a priceless collection from around the world. In 1951, this former private museum was opened to the public, showcasing an impressive array of European, Asian, and Far Eastern masterpieces.
I can say that this is must visit place if you are in Hyderabad.
Ticket Price: 50 rupees
Camera use charge: 50 rupees
You can easily spend almost half of your day here. There are many things to see here. You will find versatility here. From one to another room just visit and experience different things from history.
Things you must see.
1. Musical Watch (see video posted)
2. Double face statue
3. Armour used by kings
4. Handicrafts made with elephant teeth (although it was a cruel process separating teeth but it just happened in history so you can enjoy art on them)
5. Western and eastern blocks to see the culture of European and Asian countries
There is a food court inside and good number of washrooms and water facilities are available.
You should purchase a camera ticket.

It is one of the best museums I have ever visited. It is a huge one and can get your whole day to see it all. I will recommend buying tickets in advance from BMS especially on weekends. There are plenty of collections of almost everything which you can think of for museums. The paintings are eye-catching. There are also some monuments which are pleasing to the eyes and also many of them are from foreign country cultures. I will definitely recommend a visit there.

One of the big museums in India.
Variety of collections of old-age India kept here.
You need to buy tickets before entering.
One of the best things is that Soldier Clock at the time of 12 o'clock. Western block & Eastern Block,
two parts are there.
It needs 3-4 hours to visit the whole museum.

The place is great for history and art enthusiasts. It was full packed down on Saturday when I visited. People come with full families.
There are so many attractions in the museum. We waited for the musical clock but it was not that worth it.
But, the elephant tusk section is really good, though. Metal section is also really good. It's way way better than the museum at Chowmahalla Palace.
The cafeteria is okay, you will get everything but would have to pay good money. Not enough space, it was total chaos at the cafeteria. Although, there is a restaurant, it was outside the main museum building.
Visit on a weekday if you want to explore peacefully but I have heard, its mostly crowded everyday.

It's a great place for those who are interested in historical things, 2-3 hours required to complete the visit, canteen available inside, outside food not allowed.
Parking available but you may face shortage of space. Mobile/backpack not allowed, clock room available to deposit these things on payment basis. Mobile camera allowed on payment of Rs. 50/- per mobile.
It's better to take tickets online in advance.

A museum that is really nicely kept up. Rs 50 for adults and Rs 20 for youngsters gets you a ticket. It's reasonable that they charge 50 rupees for each mobile. This is probably the best museum I have visited in India. We visited during Christmas break and the place was full. There was a long line for tickets which took about 20 minutes. It is possible to buy tickets online which I recommend if you go during public holidays.
The museum is pretty big and the collections are fantastic. I found the Asian collection and also the literature collection to be very impressive. There are other rare collections like a carpet collection which might interest some people.

Amazed to see the collections of just one man that spread across 2 floors. Well maintained alleys rooms and lights add to the ambiance. For more details, the authority offers an app for an audio enabled guided tour. I haven't tried the same, but someone availed that the facility can comment on how helpful it is. Do not forget to sit on the chairs in front of the famous manual musical clock to capture the hourly chimes. Ivory room, clock room, and the double faced sculpture Mephistopheles & Margaretta are must watch.

Providing a captivating journey through the dynastic past. The museum offers a rich tapestry of artifacts, each telling a unique story of the eras. Exploring its exhibits becomes a fascinating exploration of the history of Hyderabad and its rulers. The meticulously curated collection allows visitors to connect with the cultural legacy, unraveling the nuances of the city's history. It's not just a museum; it's an immersive experience that becomes even more enriching when shared with children. Spending time here with kids offers a valuable opportunity to impart a tangible understanding of Hyderabad's history, creating lasting memories and fostering a sense of appreciation for the cultural heritage. Only drawback, needed more maintenance else everything is good here.

A very well maintained museum. The ticket prices are very less just Rs 50 for adults and Rs 20 for children. They are charging 50 rs per mobile which I feel is fine.
The museum is well organized with different rooms on a separate level.
The main attraction is the veiled Rebecca and Cuckoo clock. They have provided a floor map on each ticket which is kind of helpful. They have a food court which has a lot of food items and it is required since one can spend the whole day in this museum.
For kids there is a lot of learning going through each room and I can see the excitement in the kids faces. The museum houses unique collections of art and collectibles from around the world.

The museum boosts of one of the greatest collections of the world. The place demands minimum 3-4 hours if you want to at least just visit every part of the museum. The museum has collection from different parts of the world. Veiled Rebbeca and singing clock are the two most sought after attractions of the museum. Overall verdict - definitely recommended.

Ive been visiting this place on and off since I was a kid. Always mesmerized by the collection held here. Although, this particular time it was a bit disappointing to see the state of the building. Perhaps some care can be shown to modernize the display cases specially on the ground floor to really show how impressive this collection is. The pieces are beyond impressive but presentation let's them down a little bit.

Such a huge and vast museum. So many things to see many historical things are kept here. Parking charges for bikes are 20 rupees and entry tickets for Indian adults - 50, child - 20 and for mobile and camera they charge 50 also. I think that's ok. The mobile ticket will get access to use the audio guide for the museum and I think that's a good integration and it makes the ticket worth it and justify the pricing. In this huge museum you have to pay for everything even for the washroom. Online tickets are a little complicated. Otherwise everything goes smoothly.

The museum has such a beautiful collection, which unfortunately contrasts with the state of the building it is hosted in. The place is not kept clean and is rundown. On a normal day, the museum is very overcrowded, to the point it is difficult to enjoy the beautiful displays. There is a cafeteria that feels unhygienic and lacks things like a Coke Zero. As for tickets, there is no online booking, quite some queues to get tickets on arrival, and you need to buy separate “phone tickets” if you wish to take pictures. The main attraction is an old English clock. Beautiful museum, but didn’t really enjoy the day there.

Charminar, a 16th-century mosque in Hyderabad, India, is an iconic architectural and cultural symbol of the city. Built by Mohammed Quli Qutb Shah to commemorate the end of epidemics caused by water shortage, this UNESCO World Heritage site stands tall amidst the vibrant Laad Bazaar. The massive structure features four grand arches facing cardinal points and 48-meter-tall minarets atop each column.
The name u remember when u think of Hyderabad. It stands tall in the centre of the city with local market and business bustling all around.
We can go on top with a nominal entrance fee of rs 25 and enjoy the view. Really worth it.
One can do some local shopping, bargain items for good price. Have fun time.

Amazing historical monument . Ver well preserved . Do ensure you climb to the top tip if you are scared of narrow pathways a and stairs stay away it’s a very steep and high rise stair set . Elderly with knee or leg pain stay away as you cannot return as it a one way stair once started will have to go to the top . Once on top will have to return as well . The view from the top is magnificent. And is worth all the efforts . The surrounding is packed with shops and sellers . There is a tea shop do get tea from there and the famous Hyderabad biscuits . There is a mix biscuits box which has all the flavors . They do t allow bags so either don’t take bags or sacs else keep it as the deposit station for 20 rs an hour . It’s a no vehicle done do have to park a bit far and then walk .

Charminar is a true icon of Hyderabad and a must-visit for anyone exploring the city's rich history. This historic monument, with its distinctive architecture and cultural significance, is a sight to behold. However, my recent visit to Charminar left me with mixed feelings.
The monument itself is undeniably beautiful, and the surrounding area has a unique charm. The intricate details and the grandeur of Charminar are worth admiring. It's a great place for history enthusiasts and photography lovers. The view from the top is also quite impressive, offering a panoramic glimpse of the city.
However, my experience was marred by the overwhelming crowd of street vendors that has taken over the area. While these vendors add a vibrant touch to the ambiance, they also make the place extremely hectic. Navigating through the bustling streets to get a clear view of Charminar can be a bit of a challenge. If you're looking for a serene and peaceful atmosphere, this might not be the best place to visit.
To truly enjoy Charminar, I would recommend taking a taxi or ride-sharing service to get as close to the monument as possible. This will save you from the chaos of parking and the hassle of weaving through the street market. Be prepared for some persistent vendors trying to sell you various trinkets and street food, which can be distracting.
In summary, Charminar is a significant historical site that is definitely worth a visit, but the experience can be somewhat marred by the chaotic atmosphere created by street vendors. To make the most of your visit, consider taking a taxi to get closer to the monument and enjoy its architectural beauty without the added hustle and bustle.

Charminar is an iconic monument in Hyderabad, blending history and architectural brilliance. The intricate design and grandeur are awe-inspiring, offering a glimpse into the city's rich cultural past. However, MAINTENANCE COULD BE IMPROVED TO ENHANCE THE OVERALL VISITOR EXPERIENCE. Charminar is a captivating historical monument that reflects the rich cultural heritage of Hyderabad. Its impressive architecture and intricate details make it a must-visit landmark. The surrounding market, known as Laad Bazaar, adds to the charm, offering a vibrant shopping experience. However, the monument can get crowded, impacting the overall experience for some visitors. Despite this, Charminar remains a symbol of Hyderabad's cultural and architectural significance.

The monument stands tall among the hustle and bustle of the place.
However the place is very hard to access, the entire area is overcrowded with people and hawkers. It is a sad sight to see that government has done nothing to keep the area clear around a historical monument.
Probably the best time to visit is early morning or midnight when there is no crowd. Heard that Sunday nights are also less crowded.
Go to the area if you enjoy the crowds (Note: no parking here)

Most famous landmark in Hyderabad. The name Charminar means "Four-Towers".The place is very crowded throughout the day. Local shops and street vendors make this place an ideal shopping area.
The entry fee is Rs 25 per adult. Payment can be done online also. Currently it's being renovated. A small temple also runs under the Charminar, which definitely shows the cultural diversity of India.

This is one of the significant historical identities of Hyderabad. What a place! This is a must-visit for anyone in the city, and the colors and atmosphere in the evening are superb. I’m reliably informed that weekends are particularly busy, and given the number of people on the mid-week day I visited, I’d encourage you to avoid them too, but it’s well worth battling the crowds to get into the center of the action. There are so many market sellers, although none are too pushy, live performances, and a generally friendly vibe. The history is great; there are so many good photo opportunities and a real insight into the local culture. Highly recommended.

One of the places not to be missed while in Hyderabad. It is most beautiful at night. We were not able to go inside, but the light up was so beautiful, it was worth it. The area around Charminar is a very busy shopping place. Main business being jewellery and bangles. The bangle stores will dazzle you with their bright display pieces. There are a lot of small eateries also. Be ready to walk at least 1 kM to explore the surroundings

A beautiful place that acts as a Time Machine. I felt transported hundreds of years back as I stood admiring the breath-taking view of the Charminar.
The bazaar surrounding the structure is vibrant and offer unique traditional items and an unbelievably affordable price. The roads are narrow and too crowded. But surprisingly I felt good about the crowd! Bargaining skills are highly valued here and one can get great discounts with good bargaining.
I wish there was a bit more cleanliness here considering he fact that it is the icon of Hyderabad.
Be prepared to face heavy traffic as you approach the minar due to narrow roads. I would recommend coming in an auto or two-wheeler to get the best experience. Also, be aware of pickpockets and thieves.
The market is amazingly vibrant, so make sure to explore the various bangles and artificers that are on display.
Overall, a great place and a must visit!

Visited A Star Place recently and the experience left me with mixed feelings. The historical monument is undoubtedly a popular spot, with numerous shops, stalls, and a variety of food options surrounding it. However, the monument itself seems to be under construction or renovation, which was a bit disappointing.
The entrance fee of 25 per person is reasonable, but considering the thousands of daily visitors, I expected the place to be better maintained. The crowds were overwhelming, making it challenging to fully appreciate the historical significance of the site.
It appears that improvements are underway, but as of my visit, the overall ambiance fell short of expectations. Hoping that ongoing renovations will enhance the experience for future visitors.

Chowmahalla Palace is an 18th- and 19th-century compound that served as the main residence of several nizams. The palace features grand buildings, lush garden courtyards, and the magnificent Khilwat Mubarak durbar hall adorned with Belgian crystal chandeliers. This palace belonged to the Nizams and was opened to the public as a museum in the early 2000s. It is surrounded by narrow crowded roads and encroached by modern houses all around. The place has the main palace, a garden and courtyard kind of thing in the front, a clock tower and smaller mahals around it. The main palace has the darbar with beautiful chandeliers, rooms with the description of the history of Hyderabad and the Nizam Lineage. Also, there are rooms with old currency, seals, crockery, royal arms, army attires, etc. There is a beautiful garden at the back also with a small fountain/pond. Some of the mahals were closed or under renovation. Was disappointed as I couldn't see the Vintage cars. Overall, it is a good place to spend a couple of hours. Entry is 100rs per person, and you also have to pay 50rs if you want to click photos on the phone(but no one checks this). Beware of the parking lot supervisor. They try to extract more parking fees than the actual.

Hussain Sagar Lake, located in Hyderabad and Secunderabad, is a popular tourist destination. This man-made lake was constructed in 1562 to meet the water and irrigation needs of the city. It is surrounded by Lumbini Park, Indira Park, and Sanjeeviah Park. The centerpiece of the lake is a large Buddha statue situated on a rock.
I would recommend visiting this place when sun is low, because the lighting at the statue of budhha is mesmerizing... And when sun totally sets down then the street lightining view is wonderful . You can do boating or can take boat to go near the statue which is in the centre of the lake..

The entire lake is surrounded by fun activities and refreshments. It a boiling pot of Indian culture, with people of diverse origins sharing a place. The tourist destinations include a bunch of very well maintained parks and gardens, religious sites and amusement parks. Keeping in mind the necessity of maintaining a well-rounded decorum for the young people, there is the sanjeevaiah children's park only allowing children inside. The flowers all around the lake are impressively maintained by the authority. The ghats are mostly dirty though, but anyways you can have a good time taking walks and enjoying the sunset.

The Hussain sagar lake is inbetween the cities of Hyderabad with Secunderabad. It contains the popular Gautam Buddha statue in the middle and is one of Hyderabad's most popular tourist attractions. This statue is said to be one of the world's largest statues. Hussain Sagar offers a spectacular view of Lake, a view of the city, which draws many visitors to the area. It's most impressive at night when the statue's lights are turned on.
Tankbund road on hussain sagar lake is good for morning walkers, senior citizens to spend time in the morning hours. In the evening families visit the tank bund with their kids and spend time in the lawns of the tank bund , have snacks and enjoy the view of Hussain Sagar lake.

TankBund is a place where you can enjoy the view if only you visit early in the morning. With years there has been a decent improvement in cleanliness to seating arrangement. The water is serene but not completely clean. Hyderabad needs a lot of improvement in regard to cleanliness and throwing of waste. People throw here and there even after seeing the trash buckets. There should be a law passed for this specifically - maybe there can be a change in regard to cleanliness. Otherwise you can enjoy the fresh air and have a calm family time.

Hussain Sagar was built across a tributary of the Musi river in 1563 by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah. The lake was named after Hussain Shah Wali, who was the Master of Architecture in the Kingdom. It is an artificial lake that holds water perennially fed by canals from Musi river. Hussain Sagar was the main source of water supply to Hyderabad before Himayat Sagar and Osman Sagar were built on river Musi.
The Buddha statue was chiseled out of a white granite rock, weighing 450 tons. It was carved by 200 sculptors for two years. The statue was transported to Hyderabad in November 1988. After initial problems, the statue was erected on 12 April 1992 on a red lotus pedestal.

A beautiful place to visit at night and boating is a must do stuff. The view is so nice. But don't expect that you can sit nearby the lake and enjoy it while putting your legs in it. Boundaries are all over the lake and also the water is kinda black, not clean enough but it doesn't stink at all. A must visit place

Peaceful Place ☮️🌸 Have you ever watched the sunset behind the Buddha Statue? Nope? Oh god, you're missing out. Find yourself during the sunset hour at Tank Bund and take long walks as you watch the sun wash the sky in orange. Not a walking person? No problem, just stand and stare!

Exploring Hussain Sagar Lake is incomplete without indulging in a boat ride. Several options, including motorboats and pedal boats, are available for visitors to explore the lake's tranquil waters. A boat ride offers a unique perspective of the surrounding landscapes and allows you to soak in the serene ambiance of the lake. Adjacent to Hussain Sagar Lake, Lumbini Park and Necklace Road provide additional recreational opportunities for visitors.

Hussain Sagar is a large artificial lake situated in the heart of Hyderabad, India. Built during the reign of Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah in 1563, it is one of the largest man-made lakes in Asia. The lake is known for its iconic Buddha statue located on an island called Gibraltar Rock. Boating, leisurely walks along the promenade, and the picturesque Necklace Road that surrounds the lake make Hussain Sagar a popular recreational spot in Hyderabad.

My most favourite place in the whole city. Extremely peaceful and breathtaking. They don’t allow the phones at all and actually that’s nice because you get to mindfully enjoy the whole scenery out there, you can see the Beautiful Buddha statue and the water flowing in Tank Band, heavy and busy city traffic, beautiful white marble architecture all around you, very serene deities and calm atmosphere.

Visited the beautiful Mandir in Hyderabad and was thoroughly impressed with the serene atmosphere and meticulous maintenance. Situated in the middle of the city, the Mandir is a peaceful haven that radiates cleanliness and hygiene, creating an aura of Shanti, peace, and Sukoon.
The highlight of the visit was the requirement to submit mobile phones and electronic valuables before entering the temple premises. This unique practice allowed me to fully immerse myself in the spiritual experience without any distractions. The management's efficiency in handling this process was commendable, contributing to a truly tranquil environment.
Additionally, the Mandir offers breathtaking scenic views that add to the overall charm of the place. If you're seeking a serene escape in the heart of the city, this Mandir is a must-visit. Sai Baba’s early years are a mystery. Most accounts mention his birth as a Hindu Brahman and his subsequent adoption by a Sufi fakir, or mendicant. Later in life he claimed to have had a Hindu guru. Sai Baba arrived in Shirdi, in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, about 1858 and remained there until his death in 1918.
At first denounced by the villagers of Shirdi as a madman, by the turn of the century Sai Baba had a considerable following of Hindus and Muslims, attracted by his compelling teachings and his performance of apparent miracles, which often involved the granting of wishes and the healing of the sick. He wore a Muslim cap and for the better part of his life lived in an abandoned mosque in Shirdi, where he daily kept a fire burning, a practice reminiscent of some Sufi orders. Yet he named that mosque Dvarakamai, a decidedly Hindu name, and is said to have had substantial knowledge of the Puranas, the bhagvatgita, and various branches of Hindu thought. Sai Baba’s teachings often took the form of paradoxical parables and displayed both his disdain for the rigid formalism that Hinduism and Islam could fall prey to and his empathy for the poor and diseased.
Shirdi is a major pilgrimage site, and other spiritual figures like Upasani Baba and Meher baba credited the teachings of Sai Baba. In the late 20th and early 21st century Sathya Sai Baba claimed to be his incarnation.

Ranjangaon Ganpati is one among the Ashtavinayak, celebrating eight instances of legends related to Ganesha. This temple's Ganpati idol was inaugurated and donated by the "Khollam" family, a goldsmith family based in Ranjangaon. The temple was built between the 9th and 10th century. The main temple looks like it was built in the Peshwa period. Nagarkhana is situated above the entrance gate. The temple facing east has huge and beautiful entrance gate.
Madhavrao Peshwa made a room in the basement of the temple to keep the idol of lord Ganesh. Later on Sardar Kibe of Indore renovated it. The idol of these lord Ganesh is also named as 'Mahotkat', and it is said that the idol has 10 trunks and 20 hands.

One of the Ashtvinayak located near Pune, the premises is right on the highway and has 2 parking spaces. One on the left of entry and one after you go through the main gate.
The premises were under construction when I visited and I didn't like the crowd management queue system.
The way to go to the main temple was very confusing.
After you are done with the darshan, to pick your slippers, you have to go through the security part again and then come back extra.
There is a park in the premises which is nice for kids or families to sit and relax.
On the outskirts, you have a market to buy local stuff like vegetables, eatables etc.

One of the lord ganpati in the list of ashtavinayak temples. Maha means big. Many people visit daily. It's situated just near the Pune-Nagar highway so no extra travel is required to reach the temple. Huge parking area but it's paid. A huge entrance area and structure will be identified from the main road. One extra building is added just to manage the crowd. They allow us to skip lanes by paying Rs.100 per person, this is little convenient for rich people. Not a good posture in the temple all should be treated the same. Some of the stone structure and pictorial things made. But disappointed with the management when they are not allowing them to see them and see other things like the garden and entrance part of the main temple. The temple has a big history but manageable is not up to mark. Must visit place with your family members and friends. Avoid the weekend to avoid the rush.

The temple itself is super impressive, with lots of cool carvings and symbols on the walls. When you go inside, you feel really calm and peaceful, like Ganpati's watching over you.
People come to Mahaganapati Temple to pray to Lord Ganpati and ask for his blessings. It's a really important place for them, and you can feel the love and devotion in the air.
Visiting Mahaganapati Temple isn't just about saying prayers; it's also about feeling connected to something special and taking a moment to think quietly. It's a place where you can find peace and feel close to Ganpati.

The best place to visit in Pune if you want to know about Mahatma Gandhi ji's life journey you must be visiting this place the ticket fare of the palace is 20 rupees but the bad part of ticket is you cannot get offline tickets visitors have to buy online tickets even the parking places over there and a good part of the palaces you will be getting clean washroom and even drinking water tab. The good place for peace of mind. The best place for photography.

As the description says; it's a glimpse into the life and teachings of Sadhu Vasvani and his Mission.
It portrays the life of the Grt man very beautiful at the same time being very realistic (no exaggeration).
Those who love to see antiques, u will find it here... To an extent, that u can see an original video recording of 1966. At the same time the visuals in other sections are 3D for technology lovers and there is very homely and natural environment created for nature lovers...
It's something very amazing and different, as u walk through the life of Sadu Vasvani u will also c how modern technology is used to keep him alive through Audio Visual aid.
Words can't express the place in its entirety!!!
Go and experience for ur self... It's awesome
1 hour audio visual show (last show at 5 in the eve, which ends at 6) I guess in the morning it begins at 8 or 9
Thursday - Holiday

Lots of sweets shops available on the left side of the temple.

The temple is well decorated and on your way out you can purchase Ganesh idols and other gift articles from gift shop.

I heard about this temple from some of my local friends, so I was curious about this temple.
On one of my weekend, on the way to ma na pa to swargate we saw a side road towards temple, so we decided to visit the temple, on the spot.
The temple is very nice. There are two temples one is Lord Ganesha, with another is of Lord Shiva, looks one of the oldest temple.
Both the temples are well maintained, but the complex from outside is not maintained. The river just beside the temple is very clean shops of modak are there.
And they provide free storage space for your luggage there and shoe storage space is also provided by the temple.
The area in front of the temple is on the main road so it is rarely crowded but always crowded on weekends.

Surreal, very calming environment. We went in the morning and reached around 9 am. The surroundings were very good. We were amazed by the beauty of nature.
Due to clouds it was difficult to see some things. Also you have to be careful while walking as things are not clearly visible due to clouds.
Recommend to read history before visiting the fort, so you can feel the importance of the place when you are walking there.
I don't recommend visiting on Sunday because there will be huge traffic jams as most of the people park their vehicles on the road side. Even when we visited on Saturday, when we left around 2 in the afternoon we were stuck around 1 hr.
Another suggestion is you can trek route, I did not go that route, so not sure about the difficulty. Next time definitely I am definitely going to trek to Sinhagad Fort.

The most famous fort for its historic significance as well as the easy travel there in the city of Pune. It’s visited on the daily by a lot of people as a part of their exercise. Sadly the whole fort is now covered with vendors selling food and chips and what not. There is no management for litter here which is disappointing.
The climb is fairly easy but there is easy access till the top by cars or local drivers who take you there. You have to climb the stairs and walk a little to roam around after that.

Take a snap of the map at the beginning for a better experience, though there are proper guiding hordings in the way....
Just make sure you leave the place early so that you reach down early before night.
Try to start trek as early as possible.
Food is available sufficiently. Parking is no issue.

Such a serene experience going up, we were guided by a bunch of cute little puppies until the way to the top. I'd recommend a good pair of trekking shoes with good friction and support so that you won't slip there. Be careful while climbing because there were definitely some weak spots throughout. Well maintained fort, a remnants of past glory of Maharashtra, if you want adventure i definitely recommend to climb up the whole mountain, instead of getting to the door Shep of the fort. Really wonderful place.

Trek was fun and there were many rest stops along the way. The fort itself was very beautiful. One thing was that if you stopped walking people would come up to you and ask to come to their stalls for eating. The food was also good up there. There is also a jeep service which you can take.
10/10 would recommend.

The Sinhagad fort is perched on top of the mountains with incredible views. In the monsoon season, there would uncountable waterfalls. Sinhagad fort is popular with trekkers going on 2-day trips including climbs and meals. I'm sure it's a really scenic trek with a good a workout.

Nice place to plan an adventure day.. Two options are available to reach the fort. First by trekking and second by the road. At the fort, you can do a lot of sightseeing. For foodies, great local options are available. The only concern points are.. If you visit by own 4 wheeler, you might be facing a parking problem on a crowded day. And the second is.. Housekeeping in the area can be improved. If you are planning a trip for the first time, better plan a whole day. Really you can spend a complete day over there and still you will feel there is so much to do.

A really beautiful fort located above the hills, you can either trek or go by a vehicle, parking space is available at the top. Makes you wonder how capable our ancestors were to build such a place on top of a hill. Great view from there. Please exercise before you go.

Nice early morning drive from Pune city to Sinhagad :D it is scenic and very cold!! Once the sunrises, the temperature is normal :) the views before sunrise are hazy. It’s not extremely beautiful but still a good getaway to see some greenery and the horizon. Lots of snacks and tea and tiffin available everywhere

Exceptional Vibes… Beautiful views, Amazing Weather, Awesome Food… Just that Govt of Maharashtra needs to do the restoration work of Our Chhatrapati’s Fort across Maharashtra so that all generations can see and feel his legacy, heritage and culture…

1. Better not to go in summer. Always try to visit in monsoon. Carry water, wear hat and go in the early morning 🌄 if you are going in summer days.
2. You've bike and car parking at the top of the hill. Sometimes it's difficult to find the parking. Still you've lot to trek even though you're parking vehicle at the top of the hill as it's very large landscape.
3. You'll find food shops at the top of hills.
4. Paid washrooms 🚻 are available but it's very dirty. I think it's not being maintained properly.
5. You'll find temples, samadhi, nice scenery, good trail for trekking.
6. Ticket required at the entrance of singarh forest area.

Sinhagad Fort offers a captivating historical experience with breathtaking views. The trek to the fort is invigorating, and once at the top, you're rewarded with panoramic vistas. The historical significance is rich, adding depth to the visit. However, facilities may be basic, so come prepared. Overall, a must-visit for history enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

It was great visit but i recommend you should visit this fort in rainy season normally it gets too hot at afternoon so visit during morning hrs to avoid exertion! It has great views and it is well maintained and can say easiest fort to visit! Just be careful of weekends as it gets too much crowded and there are many network issues on fort so be prepared for that 🫡!

Rajgad Fort is a hilltop fortress located in Maharashtra, India that is renowned for its historical significance and popularity as a trekking site. The fort features palace ruins, caves, and water cisterns that offer visitors a glimpse into the region's past. Despite being one of the toughest forts to climb in Maharashtra, trekkers can enjoy an easy to moderate level trek by walking through the small town at the base of Rajgad.
This place is very good for hikers and tracking, there is two way to get in one is Pali gate that is easy n good for beginners and other one is gunjawaane gate thar is bit difficult. Also u can stay there for night in camp or there is 3 temple u can sleep inside, overall a good adventure trip .

Rajgad is a popular trekking destination located in the Sahyadri mountain range of Maharashtra, India. The trek to Rajgad is considered to be one of the most challenging and rewarding treks in the region. The trek offers stunning views of the surrounding valleys and hills, and the fort at the top is a testament to the rich history of the region.
The trek starts from the base village of Gunjavane and takes around 3-4 hours to reach the top. The trail is well-marked and passes through dense forests, rocky terrain, and steep inclines. Along the way, trekkers can enjoy the scenic beauty of the region and take breaks at various viewpoints.
At the top of Rajgad, trekkers can explore the fort and its various structures, including temples, palaces, and water tanks. The fort also offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys.
Overall, the Rajgad trek is a challenging but rewarding experience for adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers. The trek offers a glimpse into the rich history and culture of Maharashtra and provides an opportunity to connect with nature.

Two routes from gunjavane village
1. Chor darwaja - well trodden path
2. Gunjavane darwaja - less used but has nice jungle. Should be used for ascent. A bit slippery for descent but doable with the help of railings
One route from Pali which goes to Pali darwaja - easiest of all
Some other routes that I did not take are
1. from village Male
2. There is a road going to village bhutonde which intersects the rajgad torna trek route. You can park here and go to Rajgad by Alu darwaja or further fo to Kalehswari buruj circling the balekilla
Latest update - no food is served on top now except buttrmilk cucmber and lemon juice
Carry your own food
No nightstay allowed anymore

The trek here is of easy to moderate level. You just have to walk a lot. The whole experience is so soothing at the end of the trek when you see the scene from the top. Recommend to start climbing early so the heat of the sun doesn't drain your energy.

Massive fortress. Must visit. Brilliant camping experience. Adventurous trek.Rajgad, the first capital of Swarajya, this place is blessed with the pure feet of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his family. This place has many entries and exits but Pali darwaja from the village Pali and chor darwaja from village gunjawane are the most commonly used in modern times. The easiest route is from the Pali village. This fort has 3 machis padmavati, sanjeevani and suvela. Padmavati machi has a lake, a temple and samadhi of maharani sai bai, the wife of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The fort has ruins of buildings and monuments all over and is one of the favorite forts to do camping uphill. Suvela machi is located towards the eastern side of the fort and sanjeevani is located towards the west of fort. Both the machis are 2.5kms long and are very beautiful and are an architectural marvel. Sanjeevani machi also has a aloo darwaja located which is used to do range trek to torna. Balekilla has a very thrilling way up (also beware of monkeys) and a view worth every stair. Balekilla has 2 buruj and few ruined buildings, the rajwada and sadar is located on the balekilla. water options are available up. Food can be ordered through locals who stay at the foothills or can be cooked by own.(Only veg food allowed) Many organizations have been working for conservation of the fort and this has resulted positively that many things have started to improve and are maintained properly. A proper 2day and 1 night stay camp will be more than enough to explore this fort entirely.

Superb place for trekking, few stretches were challenging. You have to climb over the rocks, it's easier as they have placed support handles. To reach the top it would take 2-3 hrs from the base. Wear good shoes. Views from the top of this fort is mesmerising. You need an entire day to see all the places in this fort. This fort will be in it's best during monsoon or post monsoon. Entry ticket for this fort is five rupees per person.

The fort is a very good place to visit with family. This is one of the biggest forts in Maharashtra and it is 70-80km away from Pune. There are two forts on the fort, one is Rajgad and the other is called Bali Killa. You need to take some precautions if you are planning for Bali Killa if you are with small children. You should avoid Bali Killa if you do not know about it.
The sunrise and sunset are awesome there. Highly recommended for everyone.

It is one of the best monsoon treks in Maharashtra. We had enjoyed this trek and found the trek quite slippery. I’ll suggest to go with trekking shoes only and beginners can avoid this in monsoon season.

The lush greenery and panoramic views make it an ideal spot for trekking, providing adventure seekers with a challenging yet rewarding ascent. The availability of food uphill adds to the convenience, ensuring that trekkers can refuel while enjoying the breathtaking surroundings.
The fort becomes particularly enchanting during the monsoon season, adorned with vibrant vegetation and cascading waterfalls. The challenging trekking paths add an element of excitement for those seeking an adrenaline rush. Moreover, the provision of food at the base camp enhances the overall trekking experience, allowing visitors to relish local cuisine before and after their adventure. Rajgad Fort stands as a testament to nature's beauty and provides a fulfilling trekking expedition for those seeking both adventure and scenic delight

All the forts in Maharashtra are incredible. Rajgad is one of the toughest to climb. Regular trekkers will not feel much fatigue but the one who will go for first ep shapely gave the challenge. It's nearby Pune City. You can reach by 2/4 wheeler here, in the small town situated at the base of Rajgad you must park your vehicle and stay trekking. It's a great fort. I had the privilege of visiting Rajgadh Fort during the monsoon season, and it was a truly enchanting experience. The combination of history and nature in the rainy season makes this fort a hidden gem.
The weather during my visit was rainy, but it added a unique charm to the fort. The fort's surroundings were covered in lush greenery, and the ancient stone structures seemed to come alive in the mist and rain. The waterfalls cascading down the hills nearby were a sight to behold.
Despite the rain, the accessibility to the fort was manageable, but I would recommend wearing sturdy footwear and carrying rain gear. The fort's historical significance became even more evident in the monsoon, with the rain-washed walls and the smell of wet earth.
I also had the opportunity to participate in a guided tour, which provided fascinating insights into the fort's history and architecture. It's a perfect way to make the most of your visit.
If you plan to visit Rajgadh Fort during the rainy season, remember to embrace the weather, take your time exploring, and capture the mesmerizing views. It's an experience that will stay with you for a long time.

This is a beautiful medium difficult Trek) hiking (more precise) place near Pune. It takes 2 and half hours for leisure up and 1 and half hours and return. Few places have steep up, railings are there for support. Not suitable for kids, old aged, Cardiac patients, and pets. Better to start the trek early in the morning and to carry a water bottle. On weekends, a lot of people will be there as a company and few small vendors with water, and refreshments at regular intervals are available. I enjoyed it, and it was worth hiking.

Rajgad fort is among the most historically significant forts in Maharashtra, it was the first capital of the Maratha empire under Chhatrapati shivaji.
The fort is located about 60km south west from pune city.
As usual morning is the best option for the trek, the trekking starts from a small villege named Gunjavane, you should walk around 4.5-5km (one side) to reach the fort entrance. Better carry enough water and stuff.
At the top, fort is divided into many parts like Padmavati machi, Suvela Machi, Sanjeevani machi etc and the top most part called Balekilla.
It was a great and wholesome experiance for us trekking this beauty.
Things to be Noted.
- Better get there (Gunjavane) by your own vehicle since there is only one direct bus to Gunjavane from Pune, Swargate depot. Its leaves from pune at around 9.30 -10 Am
- If you want to go by bus from pune, either get the direct bus or Go to Katraj (5km approx from pune) then get Bus number 296 to Margasani. From Margasani you should travel 6km to reach Gunjavane (where trek starts). You’ll get rikshaw for ₹300-₹400 per trip.
-The last bus to return from Margasani to katraj is at 8.00PM.
- Entry fee is ₹5
- There wont be cellular range at Gunjavane, better carry Liquid cash for food and other essentials.

Elephants Head Point is a must-visit location in Mahabaleshwar, offering breathtaking views of the valley and a beautiful sunset. The walk to the spot is enjoyable but lengthy, so comfortable shoes are recommended. It's important to note that there are no restrooms nearby, so visitors should take care of personal needs before arriving. However, there are vendors selling ice cream and masala cucumber on top for refreshment.
Beautiful view. Visit this point for sunset. Good parking space. Short walk from Lodwick point. Road might seem narrow and unused but Google map takes you to the right place if you put Lodwick point.

What i want to highlight here is that there is a portion in this point which is not guarded by the wall & i don't understand why people are more fascinated to take picture while standing facing back to the hills. I think the authorities there should take action to guard the point totally like the way they had made walls to rest places.

If you are fortunate enough to find board of this point (Zoom the photo) which is hidden by unauthorized sellers and you come to know the point is a walking distance of 1km.
Otherwise you will return from an outside point where the tourists rush for photos on horses and some good views.
But that is not actual point.
The board and way which goes to actual point is shrouded by unauthorized shops/hotels/sellers which misguides tourists and many tourists return from outside point which feels like actual viewpoint but its not.
Tourism department should ban these sellers which are causing distraction or move them away from display board.

It's one of the popular and worth the hype kind of one day monsoon gateaway near Mumbai.
Basically a ghat which has a series of waterfalls (small and big) enroute to Pune/Ahmednagar from Murbad/Kalyan.
You can park your vehicle aside on the road and enjoy the scenic picturesque beauty. Also there are multiple photography points to caputure the beautiful landscape of clouds covering the mountains in valley. There are multiple shops for Maggi and Tea/Coffee.
To stayover there are multiple resorts nearby and network over here can be an issue so please carry cash.
Best time to visit is during monsoon and one may start early in the morning to avoid crowd. It might be a dissappointment if it's sunny so better to check weather forecast before heading out to this place.

This is a must place to visit in monsoon possibly with your own vehicle. But make sure before visiting that the Ghat is not closed due to landslides. We have visited number of times, but again visited on 1st July-2023. The climate was pleasant, excitement starts the moment you cross Murbad. Taking halt on ghat at various places to enjoy waterfalls and getting wet in it is a common activity. Eating street foods like Bhajias, Maggi, Omelette, corn with tea adds feather to the cap. Final destination is MTDC resort point and having lunch etc at Flamingo Restaurant. We were walking in the clouds and visibility was nothing beyond 15/20 feet. If there are no clouds, you can see a reverse waterfall from here. Overall a experience not to be missed.
Precautions: Do not carry any alcoholic beverages, there is always a Police check and alcohol is not allowed. Be careful when you go under waterfalls and or enter springs as stones are slippery.

Must visit place for nature lovers. All Your fantasies of waterfalls will be met. There is no long Trek to waterfalls as some even drop literally on the road itself cleaning the vehicle for free. Sundays are really crowded. My advice is to avoid it. All kinds of waterfalls are present. There is even a reverse waterfall where due to heavy wind water never reaches the ground but is swept away by wind. Truly mesmerizing scene to watch if you have never seen one before. Some waterfalls have steel barbed wires stopping any stones from falling. My advice is to go to such waterfalls to get wet and enjoy the water. Parking is not an issue for both cars and bikes. A large number of restaurants are available. Roadside eateries selling tea, Maggie, corn and whatnot are plenty in number that too at a very reasonable price. You can't count the total number of waterfalls as there are really too many of them in all shapes and sizes. Kids , old and young everyone will enjoy.

Nestled atop the Sahyadri mountain range, Raigad Fort stands as a testament to Maharashtra's rich history and architectural prowess. Ascending the fort through the picturesque route, one can't help but marvel at the ingenuity of its design and the strategic advantage it provided to the Maratha Empire.
The panoramic views from the fort are simply breathtaking, offering a glimpse into the grandeur of nature and the resilience of human endeavor. The trek to the top might be challenging for some, but the rewards are beyond measure.
Exploring the fort's various structures, including the majestic Raj Bhavan, the grand market area, and the awe-inspiring Maha Darwaja, one can't help but be transported back in time to an era of valor and honor.
However, it's not just the history that captivates visitors; it's the sense of reverence and awe that permeates every corner of Raigad Fort. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply seeking solace away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Raigad Fort offers something for everyone.
I highly recommend visiting this historical gem, not just for its architectural splendor, but also for the profound sense of connection it instills with our past. Truly a must-visit destination for anyone exploring the treasures of Maharashtra.

Incredible fort huge area and at high altitude rope way is available to reach at fort even if you sit inside rope way at some height it seems lack of air and your ear will probably listen less. This is effect of i think crossing one layer of atmosphere.

Incomparable scenic beauty is the only way to describe it. You have to visit it yourself to actually understand the gravitas this place holds. Away from the hustle and bustle of the crowded metropolitans, Raigad fort stands strong and carries forward an irreplaceable part of our history and culture which you will rarely see nowadays...

If you're planning to visit Raigad then you must know about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Raigad is 2,851 feet above from the sea level kind of hill station.
It is famous for the ancient architecture, forts, structures, trekking etc.
I had thrilling experience over here was the first to reach the top from my crew of 40 people's.
I visited Raigad in the month of Jan-Feb but I'll suggest to visit in Mansoon period to experience the real beauty of Hill's.
Must visit.

Carry water, sun protection, walking shoes and clothes there is facility of palki for old people at Rs. 1200/- the fort boasts various historical sites, each with guided tours available (guide-Rs. 700 per family). Shir aai Bhavani Temple, Jagadishwar Temple, Samadhi of Shiv Chhatrapati, ammunition depot, Bara Tanki, Rameshwar Mandir, Wagh Darwaja, and Takmak Tok—
Oneof my highlights for visit was Ropeway ride, Vendors accept online payments, bit there is major issues for cell phone network carrying cash is advised and the best mode of transportation is self drive there is ongoing road construction for easy access parking is charged at Rs.100/- per car
Issue with accommodation as options are very few with range of 800 to 2000 per room non ac. A detailed visit can take 2-3 days but you can roam at above options in a day

Originally this fort was known as Rairi, which our Marathi King Shri Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj took from Chandraraoji More, the King of Jawali in 1656. He took full control of this fort and made it much bigger and gave it the name as Raigad Fort and then made this as Capital of Maratha Empire in 1674.The Chief Engineer of this fort was Hiroji Indulkar. This Fort has four main Darwaja's which are named The Mena Darwaja, Palki Darwaja, Nagarkhana Darwaja and Maha Darwaja. The main structures inside Fort, Comprises of Rani Vasa, Watch towers, Gangasagar Lake, Raj Durbar.
Also, pay tribute to Waghya, a loyal pet dog of Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, known as the epitome of loyalty and eternal devotion. After Shivaji Maharaj's death, he is said to have jumped into his master's funeral pyre and immolated himself.

It is a very good place to visit with a very interesting story. We went there by rope-way, it cost us 1200/- for a two-way trip for one person and it takes only 4 minutes to reach the top. It was raining a lot when we visited so that somewhat dampened the excitement but still, we explored pretty well. We also hired a guide to understand he charged us 500/- which is acceptable for the knowledge we got about the place. This place is worth a visit.

Raigad fort is a highly important fort of Maharashtra. The place is well situated geographically and the overall structure is really well built. Unfortunately it wasn't preserved well, but the government is now taking steps towards betterment. The fort is hugely spread and every direction holds a history of its own. You will get guides over there who take a considerable price for a fort tour. The villagers provide meals barely at 80 rs cost. You can also use the ropeway, but you might need to wait for hours on weekends. Even the trek is easy as the steps and path are well built. It takes around 2 hours from the base point to reach the top.

If you are visiting Raigad, best time is in winter and for best scenery you can visit in Monsoon but only my ropeway. There are to routes to reach at the fort . One is by climbing stairs. Trek is moderate level and takes 2 hr max one way considering all the brakes in between. Another way is ropeway which starts from backend of raigad. Fort was built by Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and named as capital of swarjya. To know more about the history do take a guide there. Keep the fort clean . Before visiting do read some articles related to fort to get feel of knowing something while watching fort and get lost into the history. This fort will show how brave where the marathas and their warriors. Jay bhawani jay Shivaji 🚩🚩

We went on Friday considering huge footfall and to avoid rush.
Beautiful fort with rich heritage. I always wanted to visit Raigad so we didi a trek on one of my friends birthday.
Currently lot of maintenance and restoration work is going on hence you might not be able to visit all the attractions. But I'd suggest to go and visit the fort if possible try to help workers a little bit as it would be the biggest historical moment for all of us.
We used the stairs roughly around 2800 plus stairs. But people can also choose rope way option as well.
I don't need to explain why this fort is so amazing and very close to the heart of all maharashtrian people.
Go visit and experience the stories of our legendary king. How he built this fort why it was important for maratha kingdom. Hear the stories for local guids they will literally take you back to that era.

> We saw it while our way to and fro to our campsite and the water looks more like the water in Malvan (I said what I said) 🤭
> We weren't allowed to swim and all in the water, which I understand but there was a floating thing kept on which we could walk and get close to the water.
> I couldn't take much pictures it but this is what I have at the moment.

My visit to Pawna Lake near Lonavala, Maharashtra, was truly captivating. Surrounded by the majestic Sahyadri mountain ranges, the lake offered a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The picturesque views were nothing short of breathtaking, making it an ideal destination for anyone seeking tranquility. However, it's worth noting that the lake has gained popularity over the years, leading to a noticeable influx of tourists during peak seasons. Despite the crowds, the natural beauty of Pawna Lake remained undeniably mesmerizing, leaving a lasting impression on me as a nature enthusiast.
Roads could have been better
Cafes are much expensive.
Overall My experience at Pawna Lake was nothing short of exceptional, primarily due to its pristine waters that exuded purity. Unlike many other lakes that often show signs of pollution or debris, Pawna stood out with its crystal-clear waters that reflected the surrounding natural beauty flawlessly. This purity not only added to the aesthetic appeal but also emitted a positive vibe and feeling. There's an innate sense of calmness and rejuvenation that one feels when surrounded by such untouched beauty. The absence of dirt or pollutants heightened the overall experience, allowing visitors like me to immerse ourselves fully in the serenity of the surroundings.

It was a pleasant experience and nicely managed space.
The staff at the pass counter was courteous and provided the required information.
The other staff for the physical rides were very nice and had patience.
We were the last to leave as our car got some issues, while it was way past 9pm (closing time) the security guards were sweet to let us sit in the lobby.
Rides were good and best part about the place was the horses and the dogs.
There were two major drawbacks....
1) All the dogs in the room type cages was bit upsetting. One would get excited so the other dogs too would get very excited.
I don't know why couldn't they just let the dogs have an open big space.
2) most rides were free but the best fun one's were chargeable. I mean the tickets are not cheap but then even the charges for the other rides are also costly.
Hence a 3 star.
Overall, I enjoyed with the group I went with, but didn't leave with the feeling that I should come back.

The trip was super amazing all the rides is worth trying, specially flying fox, and swoop swing, paint ball, ATV and Buggy rides all were good, small activities such as - Archery, rifle shooting, crossbow shooting, net cricket and many more.. what we didn't like was staff behaviour and attitude very out spoken and rude when you ask their name they will not share they say their name Marshall, we faced this twice once in cricket net the guy was rude and second was at ATV ride the guy was rude they are locals from near by village so they feel they are in huge numbers and do and say anything. Completely managed by these people only so customer service we rank zero.. park and rides 💯% must try.. overall giving 4 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ because for staff behaviour and rudeness manner less people but for experience 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐..

This place is situated at 12km distance from lonavla. Easy to reach location through google map.
After visiting lonavla/khandala you can try this place. The ticket price is very high. Book before a day and you get 30% off. Special offer for womens, 50% off on sunday, book before 1 day.
There are two tickets.. Day pass & Jumbo pass.
If you want to enjoy every ride & full adventure then jumbo pass is for you. For others day pass.
With day pass you get 50 excitements. Many rides/activities are actually good like Archery, shooting, cricket, air hockey, snooker, ps4, boxing, bowling, horse riding, dog walk n many more.
This place provides food options which are very very costly. Single person food for Rs. 850. Samosa for 350. Water bottles for 110.
And you cannot bring outside food. Big turnoff.
On weekends you have to wait in que for all rides. Weekdays are better to visit.
All the rides/activitied are unlimited unless someone is not waiting..
Please bring your shoes as its required for many rides and they charge Rs.200 for it on rent. Only parking is free.
It takes whole day to complete all activities so plan accordingly.
Ots a good place to enjoy with friends and family.
There is a chalkboard on first right turn from entrance, dont forget to fill it.

I visited this adventure park with my office colleagues as one day team outing. We were taken the day pass which costs 1500 per person with 50 activities included in it.
There are more than 20 in door activities included in those 50 so it really disappointed us. Also on weekends the crowd is more and for every activity there is a long waiting queue so it really takes your patience away. As part of this day pass they should give the two or more paid activities so that it will benefit their publicity. In my opinion they have kept so many activities in a small area so the people sits more in the waiting queue.
The food rates are also high but the food quality is not very good with less varieties in one of the restaurant where we had the lunch. The infrastructure they have set up is very attractive. The small children wil love the place.
Overall I would rate the place as 3.8 out of 5 stars.

Visiting here with your adventurous friends is definitely a good idea till you're getting a good discount on their jumbo pass so you can actually enjoy all the thrilling activities.
Day pass will just allow you to do the light activities and if you want to do any other activities they'll be paid as a day pass holder which is definitely not worth.
Note- wait time for all the activities takes from 5 min to 2 hours as mentioned on their invoice when you'll receive and about which you cannot do anything at all so I recommend to plan the day properly to do all the activities you need to do.
Also food and beverages are pricy and complementary water bottles are only given in the summer so don't keep any expectations of that in any other season.

Do go to this place on Weekdays and not on weekends, as it will packed with lot of people and large queue on every ride. Also I would recommend going with 2000Rs ticket as that has enough rides one would need to enjoy the day and you won’t be able to cover everything in the same day. So think wisely :)

Large amusement park with rides, water slides, restaurants & an indoor park with artificial snow.
One of the best amusement parks you can ever have in India.
The visit was totally worth the money and we enjoyed it a lot. We almost enjoyed all the rides multiple times apart from a few .
We bought ticket in advance and you should do it to if possible.
Also during the evening towards the park closure there is some sort of festival 🎎 demonstration which you must see.
I have been to many of the rides in other countries as well but some of the unique rides which are here you will not find anywhere mostly. For example Mr India was one of my all time favourite and there was another in house roller coaster 🎢 if I remember name correctly it was deep space.
Also one must not forget the water park 🏞️. I believe there was a separate ticket for it but we enjoyed the whole day there and it was worth the visit.

Great place to visit with family or friends. Kids and adults both can enjoy. If you book tickets online you save some money according to the ongoing offers. Better to book tickets and parking beforehand. I won't suggest to book food as you will be limited to one restaurant only. But no matter how hard you try you can't finish all the rides in 1 visit. Better to enter as soon as possible to make the most of it.

My personal favourite is Nitro and deep space. Also scream machine is one of my favourites. Even the indoor rides are very innovative with back stories and plots. There buffet is great too, offers both veg and non veg cuisine. Food is reasonably priced and the quality is good too.
There’s something for everyone here.

It is an amazing place. Just make sure you should book tickets in advance and an exclusive tickets. With exclusive tickets you did not have to wait in limes for any ride. You can enjoy each and every ride also can repeat it. It is an amazing experience.
Must must visit to snow park. It is just 🤩.

My first reaction wow 🤩. Ticket counter is over crowded as i went on summer time, we went there on weekdays so we got a chance to cover all the rides. But there is long queue to attempt each ride.
Food taste was good, Safety precautions by the staff well appreciated👌🏻
I like the 75 inclined ride much🙌🏻

It's a fun place to be! There are so many activities both under water and snow theme parks that one day seems less to cover all.... Kids youths and someone who loves adventure will surely have a blast!
A little over priced also with food vouchers and other schemes that they offer are time bound. The restaurants were open even after functional hours but coupon code vouchers were not applicable which people like me/us were not aware of .... Bathrooms could be cleaned and kept dry if staffs take care of it... Rest all good :)

Over expensive.
Over crowded.
There's atleast 15-20 minutes wait for every single ride.
Then there's always some school / class picnic and kids and school staff block all the rides. Entire school picnic is divided among all rides so you have waiting everywhere.
School picnic should only be allowed 1 ride at a time.
Waste of money because of the waiting time. Opens late at 10:30 so by that time the sun is above you and heat is unbearable.
Then there's always 2 rides closed for maintenance.
Snow park is good. But the gear they give you smells so BAD. Unclean sweaty shoes of other people. Bring your own please.
Food is too expensive. A glass of Pepsi is 90 rupees. Small Water bottle is 50 rupees. Bring your own bottle and fill cold water.
You'll only do 1-2 rides max because of waiting and heat in afternoon.

The overall experience was good here. The place is good for one day trip with our friends and family.
Pros:
Good Rides
Good Attractions
Awesome sightseeing
Photographically place.
Clean and tidy atmosphere
Cons:
The ticking counter is pathetic. Even if you buy online tickets you need to be in a queue for hard ticket. Please upgrade to QR technology to avoid this hustle.
Food is hell(unlimited meal). It was been charged for 400RS, but the taste was hell. Not even you can have one round of food.
Management should take a note for this as this leads to Huge food wastage.

Charlotte Lake is a serene body of water situated in Matheran. This tranquil reservoir offers visitors the chance to explore wooded nature trails and enjoy picnic spots, as well as marvel at its small dam with beautiful waterfalls. Despite lacking proper restrooms for women, Charlotte Lake remains a peaceful place to visit, with crystal clear water and scenic views that are best enjoyed during monsoon and winter seasons.
Charlotte lake in Matheran looks stunning during monsoon. Enjoy being very close to nature and away from hustle bustle of the city. Carry raincoats must as you won't be able to hold umbrella due to speedy wind and your umbrella will get damaged.

Charlotte Lake is a beautiful lake in matheran. Water of Lake flows very slowly. Breeze creates ripples on water which is very soothing to eyes. On one side of the lake you can sit near the lake & dip your legs in the ice cold water of the lake. The lake is far from the market area so it takes 30 minutes to reach there. On the way to Charlotte lake, you will see a bungalow with a lot of black & white idols inside it & a lot of vintage looking furniture spread inside the compound of the bungalow.
Murud-Janjira Fort is a stunning marine fortress dating back to the 15th century, boasting old canons and 19 bastions. Situated on an island 500m offshore, it is the most magnificent of the forts along the Konkan coastline. Built by the Siddis in 1571, descendants of slaves from Africa, this imposing citadel served as the capital of a princely state. Visitors are drawn to its magnificent architecture and rich history of battles fought here.
Amazing fort, but you need 4 to 5 hours to visit all points. We need to go there by boat. The Boat tickets available till 4.30 PM. The Boat Ticket price ₹ 80 to ₹ 100.
Entry fee at in the fort : ₹ 25
But it's no well maintain, Government would have maintained it.

Great historical place to visit with family and friends. But you get only 45 minutes to view entire fort, which is I think not enough. Fort is well maintained and in good shape even after thousands of years.

It was one of the worst experience to visit the Ajinkya or to be said in conquered fort Murud Janjira. The ASI have failed miserably to maintain this masterpiece of architecture and Portugal legacy. They charge you for everything, entry, ferry etc but basic services itself are missing, also no proper care is taken and not informed to passengers while boarding ferry that they will be left on the fort for walking on the sea. Poorly used, not marinated at at all. Do not even think of bringing elderly people along. No system at all. A great historical monument near Mumbai and alibaug is jus wasted by localities and ASI
Dhruvin Bhanushali — Google review
Murud-Janjira is the local name of a famous fort and tourist spot situated on an island just off the coastal town of Murud, in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, India.
The word Janjira is a corruption of the word "jazira", which means "island" in the Arabic language. Murud was once known in Marathi as Habsan ("of the Habshi", that is, the Abyssinians). The name of the fort is a concatenation of the Konkani and Marathi words, "murud" and "Janjiri". The word "morod" is peculiar to Konkani and is absent in Marathi.
Specialty of the Janjira fort:
1. This fort has only one gate to enter inside and which is facing towards Rajapuri on the shore and can be seen only when is about 40 feet away from it. There is other doorway to the west called the Darya Darwaza, which opens into the sea and was probably used as an emergency escape door during those days.
2. The main attractions of the fort are the three colossal canons called Kalal Bangadi, Chavri and Landa Kasam. Once upon a time it stood farm and robust in defense with 572 Canons, but now only 3 canons can we witnessed. These Canons have capacity of 12 km range into the sea.
3. This for is known to stay unconquered in any fight until it was handed over to the Indian region after autonomy from the Britisher's. This fort was attached by Dutch, Portuguese, British and Maratha's, yet remained unconquered.
Things to do
1. There are many things that one can see on this fort. The remains of the Royal Palace of Siddi Surulkhan includes a five-storey building, Three giant cannons (Kalal Bangdi, Chiavari and Landa Kasam), and more than 35 other cannons.
2. An Arabic inscription on a marble plaque reads yohar' which means '1111 H. (A.D. 1694), two freshwater storage tanks, Chor Darwaza, etc. The Padmadurg fort near Janjira was built by Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Tourists can take a special ferry ride to this fort.
Visiting Rule and Time, Best month to visit
• The best months to visit this sea fort are from October to March as the climate remains comfortable for sightseeing. This fort is closed during monsoon rains due to safety reasons.
The fort is open from 7:00 A.M. to 6:30 P.M.
•In order to reach this fort, one has to take a ferry ride from Murud coast to the fort. The ferry ride tickets vary from 50 to 300 INR depending on the size of the boat, while entry to the fort is free.
To see the entire fort you will need approximately 1-2 hours.
Ankit Prasad — Google review
Breathtaking fort in the middle of the sea.
You can visit the fort by taking a ferry that will cost Rs. 80 for a return ticket but it is also customary to tip the boat navigators in addition to the Rs. 80 paid for the ticket . Also you have to pay for an entry ticket for the fort of Rs. 25.
It is a good fort to visit the only issue is that the boat operators don't allow you to visit the fort for more than 40 mins as you have to return in the same boat and it leaves in 40 mins. 40 mins is too less time to fully explore this fort.
Yashvardhan Shetty — Google review
The fort is now under Central government control . no maintenance on the fort. There is no Direction board as well plus there is no guide .
Still I must tell you that this fort is really worth .The structure is elegant and surprises you As they have many place who is still look like as they have built recently.
Plus for notes You will have to pay 100 rs on main counter for return boat. Then from one boat to another they will ask u to shift another boat and on same boat one person will give u some little information about fort and then ask for money to pay something 100 or 200 by saying that there is no guide on this fort and its their only way to earn money . After this once u get down from the boat then again u have to Pay rs 25 for entry and with in 30 min u will have to return to the same boat .

Honestly, I did not visit this fort from inside because it didn't seem much of interesting.
Also, they charge a lot Rs 40 for to and fro journey to fort. Rs 25 to visit fort from inside.
Also, Rs 400 when you enter their premises.
Plan accordingly, if you are really find of historical places you can give it a try.

What a beautiful fort in middle of the sea, as we know the history of this fort, it’s worth visiting this place! I will highly recommend you to go here! If you are going in afternoon make sure you have caps and 2/3 bottle of water as it is exhausting to keep walking under the sun without any shades. We were able to see some dolphins from the top a beautiful moment to watch over the sea!

A marvel indeed in todays time. The entire experience is worth having at least once in a lifetime. Right from switching from a ferry to an oar boat with 60+ people on it flaunting every safety aspect, to jumping from a rocking oar boat into the fort and hoping you don’t slip or fall into the sea. The insides of the fort is well maintained and it’s amazing to see fresh water ponds inside the fort which is located right in the middle of a salt water sea. Overall an experience that will definitely get your adrenaline rushing.

View is awsome.. Ride the sail boat if u want to see the fort from inside, even the view from the top point of fort is superb

It's a historical place of 900+ years old. You should pay around rs.200 per person as different charges including parking. A sailing boat ⛵️ will bring you to the island and they let only ½ hour to see the Fort. The boat will wait for ½ hour only. It's hard to see the Fort completely in half of an hour. Keep some water and snacks if u need. Nothing is available at the island but u can buy things at the port.
The Fort is very big and awesome 👌 worth seeing.

The Murud-Janjira Fort stands proudly on an island off the Arabian Sea's western coast in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, India. This historical marvel is renowned for its robust structure, intriguing history, and breathtaking location. Built during the 15th century, the fort has withstood numerous invasions and attacks over the centuries, making it one of the most impenetrable forts in India.
What sets Murud-Janjira apart is its unique architecture, constructed entirely without using any mortar or cement. The formidable walls, adorned with 19 rounded bastions, create an imposing sight against the azure sea backdrop. The primary purpose of the fort was to safeguard the Janjira Sultanate from pirates and rival powers during its heyday.
Stepping inside the fort, visitors can explore its various sections, including the main palace, mosque, and freshwater tanks. The majestic view from the fort's highest point offers a panoramic vista of the Arabian Sea and the picturesque coastal landscape.
Murud-Janjira is not only a symbol of architectural brilliance but also holds significant historical value. It remained unconquered by various forces, including the Marathas, British, and Portuguese. Today, it stands as a testament to the rich cultural heritage and resilience of the region.
A visit to the Murud-Janjira Fort is a captivating journey back in time, where history and nature converge, leaving visitors awe-inspired and enchanted by its timeless beauty and storied past.

The Fort is a beautiful place to visit, but there are a few things to keep in mind before planning your trip. Firstly, it's best to avoid visiting on weekends and holidays to avoid long queues for ferry tickets. The boat ride to the fort takes around 15-20 minutes, and once you reach the fort, you'll see a huge queue of boats, where you'll need to wait your turn to disembark. However, getting off the boat can be tricky, especially for senior citizens and kids. Additionally, visitors need to purchase entry tickets upon arrival. One should be aware that the boat that takes you to the fort is the same one that brings you back, so the time available to explore is limited. We took the Pushpvati boat and barely had 20 minutes to roam around, which felt too short.
It's worth noting that the fort boasts two large ponds and impressive canons, making for a beautiful sightseeing experience. Despite the potential wait times, seeing these features alone is worth the trip.

Murud Janjira Fort is a coastal marvel. This historic fort, situated on an island near Murud, Maharashtra, boasts impressive architecture and a rich past. The fort is in ok condition but the entry at the fort needs to be developed. The way we get down from the boat at the entry is pathetic. There is no proper provision to get down from the boat that you have to jump while getting down. Authority should look into it as it's difficult for old age people to travel over the fort.

Adventurous and Unique experience. The fort is in very bad condition but the fact that the whole village once upon a time used to be there is surprising. The idea ,the execution of such an island Fort is worth watching.

The fort is now under Central government control . There is absolutely no maintenance, forget restoration. There are no boards for directions for fort visit nor are there any guides. There are no information boards near any of the structures so you are just left guessing about everything.
Oh yes, one thing the government has implemented really well is the entrance fee.
However, I must tell you that this fort is really worth the visit. It's absolutely majestic. The structure is elegant and surprises you.
Expect very little from the management and your visit will be more containing...

The place is good but Right from the beginning we paid 4 to 5 types of charges. Like, entry charges, parking charges, boat ticket, fort ticket, guide ticket and etc. You can bargain for Guide charges. Most important thing after dropping to the fort by boat you'll get 45 min. Only to take tour of the fort. .

Best fort situated just 50-60 km away from alibag. There is a boat available for going to the fort, you have to pay 100 RS per person for that boat and 25 rs for fort ticket. The boat rise is just of 10 min.

My second visit here and this place has it all to drag you to visit again. The fort is immaculate and has a rich history to it! This fort is one of the only two unconquered forts. It is situated in between the sea and one had to take the boat to visit here. Boat charges 80 Rs per head and for charges 25 rupees per head. It takes time to reach and then 45mins to explore the fort. Easily takes around 3hrs for the entire trip, so budget your time accordingly. Water and food isnt available in the fort, so it is advisable to carry water and light snacks. One must ensure to not litter in the fort as it represents our rich cultural heritage.

Wait time for the ferry from Dighi Jetty could be higher on the weekdays. Weekends with more traffic will have more boats available as well.
Historical fort, great views. Very little shade.
Carry water and refreshments if you need anything since nothing is sold at the fort. Keep the place clean, carry your trash back with you, it's cleanliness is our collective responsibility.

It's beautiful but risky, as water will pull u inside very fast on this beach. Lots of food stalls here + changing rooms available. Hotels and stay options are also nearby to this beach. Dont miss Rock beach in between while visiting kashid beach

Clean beach with high waves to enjoy with family or friends. Good parking space for vehicles at 50 rupees, Shacks that offer plenty of eating options from breakfast to lunch are pocket friendly and they have changing rooms as well where you can take a quick wash after the sand from the beach. Must visit for beach lovers if you are around this place.

Kashid Beach, a coastal haven that I explored just last week, left an indelible imprint on my senses. The pristine stretch of white sand, complemented by the azure waters of the Arabian Sea, creates a breathtaking panorama. Nestled between verdant hills and swaying casuarina groves, Kashid is a visual symphony of nature.
What struck me most about Kashid Beach was its serene and tranquil atmosphere. Unlike some bustling beaches, Kashid offered a peaceful retreat, making it an ideal spot for those seeking solace by the sea. The cleanliness of the surroundings was noteworthy, contributing to the overall appeal of the destination.
The soft waves lapping against the shore invited me to dip my toes into the refreshing water. For adventure enthusiasts, Kashid doesn't disappoint. Water sports activities, including jet skiing and banana boat rides, provided an exhilarating experience against the backdrop of the expansive sea.
Beyond the natural beauty, the local vendors and eateries along the beach added a delightful touch to my visit. Sampling local snacks and coconut water while basking in the sun enhanced the overall beach experience.
In summary, Kashid Beach is a hidden gem on the Konkan coast. Whether you're seeking tranquility, adventure, or a scenic escape, Kashid offers a perfect blend. My recent visit was a serene retreat, and I wholeheartedly recommend this gem to anyone in search of a coastal paradise.

Kashid Beach situated in Maharashtra, beautiful beach with slightly clean and clear water. One can enjoy the Sunset view here, famous for numerous water sports activities, to name:jet ski, Banana ride, ATV ride, Bumpy Ride, and Parasailing Ride.
There is a horse and horse cart also available to stroll alongside the beach.
There's ample parking and good to see there are many stalls that offer washroom and changing room facility.
There are shops for food, tea and Toys as well alongside only which one can explore.

Kashid beach is one of the best beaches to visit in Raigad District of Maharashtra state. This beach is clean and not very busy so you can have your peace of mind. You can find the beach distributed in water sports and quiet areas.
Sunset and sunrise are always the best views for any beach, which applies for Kashid beach too. The advantage is you can rest near kashid and have easy access to the Murud, Nagaon and Alibaug area.
Stay options are cheap to start from 1000 to 3000 per night. Food is also budget friendly.
I liked the area.
Don't expect much of night life which you can find in Alibaug and Nagaon.
