Divine. We'll have to climb around 1300 stairs to reach the temple. The darshan is very good. The prasadham is very nice. In the prasadham stall they provide very tasty Puliyodharai, Sweet Pongal, Mysorepak & muruku. The Puliyodharai is phenomenal. There are a lot of monkeys on the way and in the temple ..... they will snatch anything they think is edible. Once you reach the top it is very windy and a bit cold. The view is awesome.

This famous old temple is located in tamilnadu. Border to chittor district. Very good place, should climb 1305 steps to reach the temple. Known as powerful temple many devotees visit every year. Monkeys are large in number and we should be careful while walking with food items 😅
Ranganath Udayagiri — Google review
Warning!! - do NOT take or buy anything when you climb the steps. The monkeys here are aggressive and smart and they will find a way to make you part with your garlands or even your water bottle. They are adept in opening water bottles and drinking pretty easily. We made the mistake of buying a garland and some coconuts and carrying it up. Pretty much from get go the monkeys knew what we were carrying. We literally emptied the bag out when we were midway as the monkeys wouldn’t let us progress! We had sticks but it was to no avail given the number of monkeys that we had to deal with. Once we emptied the bag we were allowed to proceed without any challenges to the top. Good darshan as the place was not crowded on the day we went and also we were pretty much the last set of folks to go around 5:30 pm - temple closes around 5:50 pm. The climb for this temple is 1305 steps and it takes a good hour depending on your health

You have to be really energetic & healthy enough to go up the stairs. FYI there are 1305 steps.. Also there are monkeys so my suggestion is you better keep your precious things in your vehicle or don’t bring those. Also don’t leave your belongings unattended the monkeys might grab. If possible buy some food for the monkeys, goats & the dogs there.. There are people who packet of snacks

Nice temple with nice view..... 1350 steps.... Lots of monkeys with more fun..... Don't Carry any thing except water& stick..... Start early morning is easier

Temple is very good.
1310 steps... Really you will have your health check when you climb..
Very less cast parking fees..
But we have lot of issues due to monkeys.
TNHRCE department nor the temple management did not care about the people who is coming to visit the temple.
They are least bothered. Also whatever you buy at the roadside it will be captured by monkeys.
No shops in between bottom till temple top.
Even for emergency purpose no shops available
No control over the monkeys..
Humble request to the temple management and to government, please improve the basic facilities in this temple.
Being a very good old temple the amount of neatness and hygiene teken care to the temple is very very bad.

It was a divine... You will witness thousands of Monkeys, so please be careful with your backbags especially when you carry bananas....
It's a Historical Temple which is not at all maintained in a clean manner. Government or Private Authorities should take immediate actions but its very powerful 🙏

Very good temple. Maintenance can be improved.
You will face lesser crowd if you reach early. Only thing to note is the large army of monkeys who will always be watching out for an opportunity to snatch any food items from you!

If you find difficult to climb (Aged and PWD friends) You can make use of porter/jhoola/Oonjal facility to climb. Rope car facility is under contruction.
How to reach: Rail: Arakkonam Junction / Walajah Road / Sholingur Station

Very powerful temple of Lord Narasimmar located in Sholinghur. It is one of the 108 Divya Desams and is an ancient temple. You've to climb around 1300 steps to get dharishanam from main deity. Up hill path way is well laid and maintained with shades to protect from Sun and Rain. However its slippery during rainy days. There's a rope car project ongoing and is currently under testing phase which takes you to top of the hill. Monkeys are everywhere in the hill and is a menace to people climbing hills. Do not take any eatables visibly. Car parking is available and pretty big and entry fee is 100 rupees. Dolis service is available as well but costly and is worth paying for due to the difficulty. Temple is open for the whole day and closes in the evening before 5.30 PM.

1305 steps to reach the Narasimhar temple. The steps are difficult for elder people, while rest can climb between 25 to 45 minutes. The pathway is covered with sheets to protect from sun or rain. Lot of monkeys dominate the route, so be careful with what you carry. Carry water bottle in a bag. Parking area is adequately available. There are restaurants to eat in Sholingur.

The temple boasts 1305 steps and is known for its power. The monkeys here are quite aggressive carry a stick with you. Be sure to visit Arulmigu Sri Yoga Anjaneya Temple.
The temple should make arrangements for the rope car to work again as it so hard for older people to walk to the top.

Not a very big temple like other South Indian temples. 1305 steps to climb. Steps are easy to climb. Too many monkeys. Don't carry any eatables. Rush only in Karthik month. No parking facility you have to park your vehicle on the road. The view from the top is very nice.

Oldest temple in Tamilnadu. Shrine for Arulmigu sri Yoga Narasimhar. Namo namaha.
Great experience. Rope car inaugural done a month ago. Too much rush due to weekend and all want to explore rope car. Per day 1000 tickets for down to up hill. Ticket fare 50 one side. Need to stay in a queue ( seating arrangement made to accomodate 250 persons at a time) along with your group members to buy tickets. This arrangement made transparency to fellow pilgrims. And to avoid buying tickets tho agents and third party brokers. Good move by temple managemt team. no advance ticket booking available. There is a big hall with proper drinking water and washroom facilities in down hill. Snacks shops available outside this hall running by local vendor. 1pm to 2pm rope car maintenance cum service time. No transportation during time.
Recently So many old age and children devotees worshipping Sri yoga Narasimhar. Because of this rope car facility. By steps 1300+ to uphill for those who can't climb.. Boon to all devotees.
It is our duty to keep the temple and it's surrounding clean. waste items can be disposed in the dustbins. We have seen waiting/ queue area seat/ long chairs foot cover removed and giving way to hurting our toes and legs.
7am hall will open. 8am to 5pm ticket counter open time. 1pm to 2pm lunch hour break and rope car maintenance time.
We entered at 08:30am ( took breakfast parcel from sholingar town itself as only petty shops available near ticket and waiting hall in down hill) Our ticket number is around 590/1000 at 1145am. ( Sunday weekend).
( monkey troops everywhere) from ropcar uphill station to deity main entrance. Not to carry snacks/ purchased water bottles ( water filled in own water can not showing interest). Darshan is peaceful and Rs 20 per packet Prasad ha available. ( monkeys not coming near to this stalls and not grabing the Prasad from devotees.).
.. as 1pm to 2pm break. FOR ROPE CAR. AND TOO MUCH CROWD NEAR ROPE CAR TICKET COUNTER. IN UP HILL.. NO SEATING ARRANGEMENT AVAILABLE and Monkyes atrocity.
We use steps to get down. It took 30min to get down. We used long sticks to avoid monkeys trouble.

The temple is situated on the top of the hill, you need to walk 1306 steps to reach the top. The temple is seen as one of the famous temples of Narasimha and a powerful image of Hanuman. Better keep sticks with you Monkeys are large in number and we should be careful while walking with food items. The temple should make arrangements for the rope car to work again as it so hard for older people, senior citizens to walk over 1306 steps.

Kanipakam Vinayaka temple, Chittoor Overview
Chittoor is a district laden with famous temples, one of them being the Kanipakkam Vinayaka Temple. The temple was ideated and constructed in the 11th century CE by Kulothunga Chola I, a revered Chola king. It was then rebuilt in 1336 by the Vijayanagara rulers.
What makes the Kanipakam temple unique is the fables and legends associated with it! It is reported that the idol of Vinayaka grows every year; The armour offered to the deity 50 years ago does not fit anymore!
This historical temple with Ganesha as its primary deity is also known as Shrine of Water and is in Irala Mandal of Chittoor district. The regal Kanipakam temple has immense religious significance and importance because of its miraculous idol. The water found in the complex is believed to be holy and can cure various deformities

Vinoth — Google review
About a 1000 years ago, there lived three physically-disabled brothers. While one of the brothers was blind, the other was dumb and the third was deaf. They earned their modest living by cultivating a small piece of land close to Viharapuri village.
On a certain day, when one of the brothers was irrigating the land via different channels, the other two were drawing the water from a well using the Piccota System. During the task, to their utter dismay, they discovered that the water of the well had dried up. One of the brothers got down the well and began digging its bed with an iron spade. Soon after commencing this job, he was awe-struck to realise that his spade has been floundering about in the waters and hitting a stone-like object underneath.
When the brothers saw blood oozing out from the stone formation, they were astounded to behold the miracle. In no time, the blood mixed with the entire water in the well in such a way that there was no difference between the two. Meanwhile, the brothers got blessed by the divine sight and got rid of their former physical defects. When the news of these events reached the ears of the villagers, they rushed towards the well and tried hard to deepen the well. Their endeavour, however, bore no fruit because a self-manifested idol of Lord Ganesha showed itself to them
Stunned beyond words with the divine revelation, the villagers offered loads of coconuts and other love offerings to the self-manifested idol, along with their humble prayers. The coconut water started flowing into a stream, to a distance of more than one and a quarter acres. This phenomenon led to the coinage of the word “Kanipakam” where "Kani" means wetland and "Pakam" means flow of water into wetland.
Till this day, the idol lies in its original place, that is, in the well from beneath it had sprung. The waters of the holy well never dry up, thus signifying the immortality of the Divine Power. In the monsoons, the well overflows with the sanctified water, and it is offered to the devotees as theertham.
An Incredible Fact is that , the Lord Vinayak of Kanipakam is that the idol is reportedly growing in size with the passage of time. Currently, only the knees and abdomen of the idol are visible. The testimony to the fact is the silver kavacham (armour) offered to the idol by one of the ardent devotees about fifty years ago, which does not fit the idol today!
Several people have been visiting the temple since a long time to resolve mutual strife by taking a dip in the sacred waters of the temple tank and swear before the idol of the deity. There have been cases when the sinner accepts his faults immediately after taking the holy dip and even before stepping into the “court of justice” or the inner chambers of the temple. Such is the power of Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka and his glory is worthy of being sung in every corner of the globe.
Another interesting aspect of Kanipakam is the Bahuda River, which flows near the Sri Varsiddhi Vinayaka Temple. Long ago, as a story goes, there were two brothers Sankha and Likhita. One day, they started for a pilgrimage to Kanipakam. Due to the arduous journey, Likhita gave in to hunger. He ignored the advice of his elder sibling and plucked a mango for his meal from the nearby mangrove without the permission of its owner. Duty-bound to tell the truth, Sankha reported the issue to the king of that place and asked for a punishment befitting Likhita’s sin committed during the pilgrimage. The ruler chopped off both the arms of Likhita as a punishment. When the two brothers reached Kanipakam and took a dip in its sacred waters an amazing miracle happened. To the astonishment of two brothers, the chopped arms of Likhita were restored. Soon after this incident, the ruler of that place named the river as Bahuda (“Bahu” means arms and “Da” means giver)

I was introduced to this temple recently via social media and then decided that i want to visit the place.
Drove down from Bangalore. Since it was quite hit, we started by afternoon and reached the temple at around 4:30pm. As oer i ter et, the temple is open full day. However, on reaching the place, I found that that's not the case. There are various sevas that happen, and a limited set of tickets are issued. We just mussed the abhishekam slot as only 30 tkts are issued for it(and wearing dhoti is mandatory). However, I got the tkts for the next seva, which was arathi. Got to sit almost at the front and witnessed the 20 minutes aarti. It was simply serene, calm, and too blissful. I felt such peace and serenity sitting in front of the Lord.
It was a wonderful darshan that i got. i came out as an extremely happy person. 😊 the prasad given was yummy to eat and there are small temples around the main temple.
Note: mobiles not allowed inside the temple. There is a counter you can deposit it at.

The first time i visited Kanipakam sidhi Vinayaka temple. This is a pleasant place where we can see swayambhu Varasidhi Vinayaka idol.
Bus transport is available from Tirupati for every 15-20 mins. We can reach between 1 hr 15 mins to 1 hr 45 mins.
Devasthanam facilitated free toilet and fresh up to devotees. But there is no proper maintenance because of this Toilet looking not good.
3 types of Darshnam are there mainly. Free, Seerga Darshanam ( 100/- ) , Athi Sirga Darshnam ( 150/-) and a few more.
Devasthnam gives accommodation also. Ganesh Sadan, Vinayak sadan are two there. Charging 336/- with incl all taxes plus advance 336/- with incl all taxes per day.
Providing free food to Devotees as same as Tirumala ( Uchitha Anna Dhaanam ) .
There are 2 temples beside this Varasidhi Vinayaka Temple. Manikanteswara swamy Temple(Lord Shiva), Varada Raja swamy Temple ( Lord Venkateswara). Here we can see the beautiful idols of Vinayaka, Kumara swamy, Shiva, Parvathi .
There are many shops available near temple. Mainly the shoes keeper/chappals keeper is charging 7/- per pair. Luggage counter charging 20/- per bag. Coconuts (small size) charging 30/-
A small request to Temple management , please provide sometime while devotees came for swamy (Vinayaka) darashanam. Don't ask them to leave quickly. Especially those who took the athi Seerga Darshanam ticket, Security asked them to move quickly, because of this devotees were unable to see swamy clearly. Because the swamy idol is very far from where devotees stand. Maximum space you're occupied for some other activity( Puja).

Famous and ancient temple located around 12 kilometers from the chittoor town. It is believed that Lord Ganesha's idol here gradually grows in size every year. Don't miss it if you are into temples and stuff.
The place might be crowded during holidays, festivals which will eventually increase the time of Darshan.
Additionally when you visit the temple, you should definitely try Masala Soda and Bhel Masala available within the temple surroundings, They are tasty 🤤😍

about 14 kms from Tirupathi in the village Appalayanagunta we visited the temple of Lord Sri Prasanna (Peaceful pr in happy mood) Venkateswaraswami where it is said that after wedding of Lord Sri Venkateswara with Padmavathi, Sri Siddeswara and other sages approached Him for His grace and they were blessed by the divine couple un this place. Hence it has a sacred and mythological importance.
According to sthala Purana (history of the place) Rajas of Karvetinagar constructed this temple. It also consists of a shrine for Anjaneyaswamy ( also known as wind god to say that he is the son of Vayudeva) whom the devotees is worship for relief from chronic diseases. The idols of Goddess Padmavathi and Sri Andal here are beautiful and attractive. Normally the idol of Lord Venkateswara is seemingly holding the right hand down. But as an exception to this rule He is seen here in Abhaya Hastha pose. He has raised His right hand and blessing the devotees.
The Lord is bathed (Abhishekam) once in a week on Fridays which is witnessed by large number of pilgrims with a desire to get their dreamed desires fulfilled. Because of this special Abhishekam devotees come here on Fridays to offer their special prayers.
Here my sympathy goes with the Lord because His devotees take bath every day, whereas the Lord whom they worship is restricted to bathe once in a week. Neither the temple authorities nor the devotees seem to have worried about arranging for daily Abhishekam of their Lord, probably because their desired are not yet satisfied. Some desires may not be satisfied in this birth at all. One may pray for anything and everything limitlessly bit God will grant only that much as each individual deserves according to one’s karmas. Any way man made God cannot ask for any extra facility than what is provided to Him by His own devotees.

Shri Prasanna Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Appalayagunta is about 16 kms from Tirupati towards Tiruttani. Special feature of the Lord Venkateshwara in the sanctum is the Abhaya mudra of the right hand. This 13th century temple is well maintained with spacious car parking. Seperate sannidhis for Shri Padmavathi and Shri Andal (Kothai Nachiyar). Shri Anjaneya Swamy in a small separate temple slightly away, in front of main temple.

Peaceful temple to visit, no much crowd so you can pray peacefully. Need to take a private taxi or have to go by your own car. Very well and neatly maintained temple.
Visited during the evening crowd is very less, tickets are available for archana at very less price.

We will come back to the Kashi trip review later.
After having a wonderful darshan in Sri Parasurameswara temple -- Gudimallam, we drove back the same route and then took the left near papanayidu pet village so that we could join the highway near Gajulamandyam.
Crossed the highway now to the right and drove down as per google map and reached the temple. The road from the highway to the temple was really fantastic. Good spacious parking space is available, but not sure it can handle the rush on special occassion days.
A temple we have been planning / eager to visit for many many years, due to a unique feature. Temple very rarely known to many people in Tamil Nadu. Temple is under the control of TTDC.
One can see sign boards in many places not to take photograph, hence we didn't pull out our mobile phone.
As we were driving towards the temple, people travelling with me were asking me what is the unique or special feature of this temple and i was literally searching for the answer, because i read about it many many years back and i was struggling to get my memory back, but as we entered the que which was practically empty with no one, and when i saw the first glance of the lord, i was simply blown away , simply stunned, in total shock.
I just turned around and told them that the unique feature in this temple is the way the Lord's right hand is. It is pointed upward and not downward as in other temples.
Not only me, the people travelling with me also felt the shock and were stunned when they saw the lord in such a beautiful decoration, just standing so majestically. They were asking did you bring us to Tirupathi or what ? .. i just smiled and said no no we are not in Tirupathi.
Temple is facing east, lord faces east, Thaayar in separate sannadhi facing east too. Rajagopuram present, kodimaram present, temple pond is present in the eastern side of the temple. Area wise the temple is quiet small, but maintained very very clean due to TTDC i think.
Even at 3 p.m. they were giving prasadham for all the devotees who were coming to the temple.
Wonderful and fantastic temple to visit, don't miss it in your life.
Before i finish my small review a stanza from nammazhwar Tiruvaimozhi...

It is located in Tirupati District of Andhra Pradesh, India.[1] The temple is dedicated to the god Venkateswara, a form of Vishnu and is referred to as Kalyana Venkateswara. The temple is one of the centrally protected monuments of national importance.

The ancient temple of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy is located in Srinivasa Mangapuram, about 12 km to West Tirupati in Chittoor district.
This ancient temple which is under the control of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) is maintained by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams since 1967 and utsavams and rituals in this temple are being performed since 1981.
Today, Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple is considered sacred, next to Tirumala temple. Those who are unable to make it to Tirumala can have darshan of Lord Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy to fulfill their wish. As the name indicates, this temple carries significance for newlywed couples. Newlyweds offer prayers first in this temple as this is the place where Lord Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy with Goddess Padmavathi Devi stayed for six months, just after their wedding.

This temple is Magical if you believe in Magic and God, this is the perfect place for your wish of getting married fulfilled real soon. Its a belief that one who is expecting to get married but many problems are coming in the way, he should come here and tie a Dhaga (Kalyan Kankanam Seva - Rs. 20 Ticket at the gate counter) in the Kalyanmandapam to get obstacles cleared. And after he gets married, the couple has to come here again soon and do the Kalyanam Pooja (Seva)- (Rs. 500 ticket for 2 people) which means performing marriage of Lord Shri Balaji with his wives assuming that it is your own marriage.
I have tied the Kalyan Kankanam Dhaga on my right wrist. Lets hope that this works as it is believed. I personally believe in God and so I hope for the best always.
The cleanliness is very good in the temple and premises. Even there is landscaping done near the toilets. They have a lot of parking space around the temple in the back side. I think there is a bus stop in front of the temple because a bus to Tirumala Bus Stand stopped when we waved to him. But remember that you should keep your Google Maps set to your destination with navigation because they can't understand your language. We took a ticket of 35 Rs. Each but they dropped us in middle of the road very far away from the Bus Stand. Or direcly use Uber Auto. Because local auto drivers will empty your pockets immediately.
I have attached the pictures in and around the temple. Please check them out. Have a safe trip. TIA.

One of the famous and must visit temples in tirupati. Its near to srivari mettu steps. When we went on a Saturday, they didnot allow near to god in the Q line. They are allowing people near to God only who gives money for aaseervachanam or with recomendation. Crowd was less when we visited. Laddu prasadam counter was closed and maintenance was poor. One will not be satisfied who comes from a long distance to return back without prasadam.

Kalyana Venkateswara swamy temple in Srinivasa Mangapuram. A must watch temple for all pilgrims who planned to go Tirumala . it’s around 22-15kms far from Tirupathi with very good connectivity. You can opt for public transportation like RTC bus, TTD free bus (little less frequency), private transportation like jeep and auto.
About Temple: we can see Lord Venkateswara from very near by. And it’s exactly same resemblance of Tirumala. Very spacious temple where you can sit and take rest after darshanam. TTD offers prasadam for every devotee.
It’s crowded on festivals and Saturday. It’s quite free on other days. We can avail special entry darshanam also by taking different types of tickets and sevas.
No shopping ❌🛍️

My visit to the Srinivasa Mangapuram Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple was an enchanting spiritual journey that left me in awe of its serene beauty and sacred ambiance. The temple's significance as one of the sacred abodes of Lord Venkateswara made the experience even more profound.
The traditional South Indian temple architecture was a sight to behold, with intricate carvings and sculptures that showcased the rich cultural heritage of the region. The main deity, Lord Venkateswara, exuded a divine aura that filled my heart with peace and devotion.
I was moved by the temple's legend, which
narrates the divine wedding of Lord Venkateswara
and Goddess Padmavathi Devi, making it also
known as the "Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy
Temple." The spiritual energy of this sacred union
enveloped the entire temple complex.

This museum is located right next to Govinda Raja Swamy Temple. Open timings are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The museum is mostly about art and architecture of temples and idols. We often don't realize but everything that is related to constructing a temple has a specific study around it. Site selection, Architecture Style selection, Gopuram selection, Stone selection, Posture selection, Carving, etc. This museum does its best in covering those aspects. There is explanation for each and everything displayed here in both English and Telugu languages. All the above was covered in one of the sections inside the museum. In one of the mandapams, they have the entire story of Srinivasa Kalyanam done via Dolls. It was very good. They call is the Kids Gallery. Both kids and parents will like the artwork. Finally, in the last section, they had details about some of the great Vishnu Devotees and Saints. Also covered in this section were about Music and Dance. There was also one sub-section about a Vishnu Devotee Lifestyle and how they organizes their day. Entry to this informative museum was totally Free.

I visited the temple recently. This temple has baggage and a shoe facility just outside the temple. Some kind of construction is going on during my visit.
The temple is well maintained and can be considered to give a visit. I have visited a number of ISKON temples across the city and can say that this temple is totally commercialized. They have a museum for which you need to pay for it. They have a restaurant inside the ISKON premise again for which you need to pay.
They have multiple shops inside the temple. I don't support commercialization of temples that is why reducing the rating from 4 to 3.

The idea for this temple germinated in the year of 1974 – 1975, when his holy Srila Prabhupada visited Tirumala- Tirupati on the request of Andhra Pradesh Government. Impressed with the spiritual atmosphere of the place and after seeing thousands of devotees visiting every day, he saw this Tirupathi as an ideal place to promote the teachings of Bhagwat-Gita and Lord Krishna while in turn creating an environment of amity throughout the world.
It in the year of 1982, this idea started taking a physical form while in 1983; a small Brahmachari ashram was established. Located at the foot of Tirumala Hills, in 1984, a small temple was inaugurated with the installation of the idols of Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha. In 2005, this temple was opened to everyone.

The temple is part of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) and serves as a spiritual and cultural centre for devotees and visitors seeking to experience the divine love and teachings of Lord Krishna.
The temple is located on a hill also known as the Hare Krishna Hill and is built in a neo-classical style with typical South Indian temple Gopurams. There are four gopurams inside the temple which are joined by a glass roof that looks amazing. The temple also has a golden lotus called Padmasarovaram, where Goddess Padmavathi manifested herself according to tradition.
The temple offers free entry and has darshan timings from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm daily. The darshan duration is 20 to 30 minutes. The temple also has various sevas and festivals that attract thousands of pilgrims every day. The Brahmotsavam of the Goddess is celebrated at Padmavathi Temple with all pomp and glory to commemorate the auspicious occasion of Her avatara.

Partaking in the prasad added a divine touch to the visit. The sanctified offerings bestowed a sense of connection to the spiritual roots of the temple. Each bite of the prasad, coupled with the knowledge of its sacred significance, became a symbolic communion with the divine.
The variety of snacks available, such as samosas, infused the visit with a delightful culinary experience. The flavors were rich and authentic, reflecting the cultural essence of the temple. Additionally, savoring coconut water and sugarcane juice provided a refreshing respite, especially in the temple's serene ambiance.

Kapila Theertham temple is an ancient Shiva temple. The Siva lingam here is made of brass. Kapila Theertham is a well-known waterfall located inside Tirupati's Kapileswara Swamy Temple at the foot of the Sheshadri Hills. This is a one-of-a-kind waterfall where water from mountain streams falls from a height of more than 100 feet into a large pond on the temple grounds. Within the temple grounds, there are numerous sub-shrines. The temples include those dedicated to Kamakshi, Vinayaka, Dakshinamurthy, Subramanya, Agastheeswara, and Sri Krishna. These temples are open from 5 AM to 8 PM. In Tirupati, it is a major pilgrimage site and a must-see attraction.

This Temple is present at the foothills of Tirumala..
At the entrance, you could see a hanuman
Temple..
After praying there, when you come out, you could see "Kalyana katta " (place where the devotees offer their hair as a sort of their prayers)..
Then comes the Alwar temple (Ramanujacharya)..
Then you could visit venugopalaswamy sannithi, Ramar sannithi, and then you could see the entrance of Kapileswarar temple..
Kapila theertham is a small waterfalls present in this Temple.. We could see many devotees taking a holy dip...
Excellent place to worship..

A must visit place with nice atmosphere. Temples and idols are graved in such a way that we'll surely get a nostalgic feeling. I had visited two times in this year. In March, the waterfall was less and we're not allowed to take a bath. But I visited two days ago, people made the place a huge mess. Lot of bad smell from the water and the surroundings. Unable to take a peaceful dip in the water. Such a ridiculous and shameful behaviour. People leaving their clothes everywhere on the banks of the pond. Please make some strict rules and prohibit people from these type of activities.

There is a beautiful waterfalls and Lord shiva temple in this place. Lord Shiva here referred as Kapileswara swamy. The water from waterfalls falls directly into theertam and we can take bath in this pushkarini. When we visited last time we are not allowed to the place where waterfalls are falling but we can take bath in this theertam (pushkarini).

This is a famous shiva temple which is located at foothills of tirumala (sheshachalam) hills.
The presiding deity here is kapileshwara ( Lord Shiva). A waterfall called Kapila theertham can be seen when we enter this temple. People are allowed to bath in this waterfall when water falling down from waterfall is less. Few pilgrims take bath in waterfall or pushkarni ( Temple pond) before entering temple. Though mobiles are allowed inside this temple, photography and videography is not allowed inside this temple. This temple is located about 3 - 5 kms from Tirupati railway station/ bus stand. One can reach this temple by hiring auto from bus stand/railway station. There are share autos too from tirupati bus stand to this temple.

This is one of the very oldest Temples in Tirupati dating to before advent of Sri Venkateswara in Tirumala. It is acknowledged in Tarigonda Vengamamba written Venkatachla Mahatyam that it was present when Sri Venkateswara set his foot on the hills. There is a beautiful waterfalls in the temple premises that originates from the seven hills. It resonates with great spiritual vibration. Kapileswara Shiva and his consort are the presiding deities in this temple. There is also Sita Rama shrine in the same posture as in Bhadrachalam with mother Sita sitting on the lap of Ramachandra. Beautiful pond with the water being freshly filled up with the waterfall from the Seshachala hills.

The Srivari Mettu is a pathway consisting of over 2000 steps which leads to the hilltop Sri Venkateswara Swami temple. Devotees climb these steps in hopes of receiving blessings from Lord Venkateswara. The path is known for its scenic wilderness and provides a good workout, with clean tap water available every 100 meters. Visitors are advised to carry their own water bottles as there are no vendors along the way.
Visited 29th January 2022. Nice and clean place after renovations. Lots of shops available on the way. No plastic water bottle in shops. Better carry water bottles with you. Free R0 water available on the way

2388 steps are there with very clean and good ambience.Timings was morning 5am to evening 6pm.For every 50 steps there will be a drinking water facility which was giving to the pilgrims by the TTD. As teenagers can climb this steps within 30-45 mints. But above 30+ age people can climb in 90mints. For every step there will be a sitting area for taking rest and also for every 200-300 steps there will be a free toilet facility for both men and women.

Basically people who wants to go by walk to tirumala prefer either alipiri or srivari Mettu way.
Alipiri is a long way and takes much time but srivari mettu is a short way and less steps(2388-->×2.1kms) compared to alipiri.
They have luggage counter also but better to buy locks and all at the railway station for less price. Here you don't find many food or stationary/pooja stalls at the entrance and that's why they are charging more money.

1) A lifetime experience in climbing steps to Tirumala.
2) Open from 6 AM to 6 PM
3) Should report at this place by 5:30 AM to avoid long queue. This place is 15-18 kms from main city.
4) Sarva darshan/ Divya Darshan tokens will be given at the starting of the steps.
5) Total: 2380 steps, may be 2 to 2.5 km, Time: Approx 2 to 2:30 Hrs
6) 60% of the steps are steep. So frequent small breaks are must.
7) Many vendors will be selling Lassi, Buttermilk, ORS, choclates etc
8) Better to visit early in the morning. Chirping bird sounds, cool breeze etc

• Total 2388 steps are available.
• Steps are very clean and neat with out any damages
• But the height of the steps will be some what bigger than normal steps compared to alipiri steps.
• I suggest not to take elder people because steps height is high.
• Different foods are available through out the steps.
• Some best scenaries can be seen while climbing.

I used to like this place. But now it has become worse. No special darshan like before. No respect for pilgrims. People over there are worst. Very rude. Only best way to have proper darshan is to book 2 months in advance for special darshan.

Overall, the journey to the temple by foot is not just a physical pilgrimage, but a spiritual one as well. Not to expect any type of food apart from liquid juices to keep you hyderated as its around 02 hours walk at the slowest pace. Surrounding greenery keeps you fresh all the way.
It is a chance to leave behind the distractions of everyday life and look forward for something Good to come.

What an amazing experience!! I am walking this uphill for first time since Alipiri path is closed. This is so good and you will enjoy the complete wilderness and make sure to carry plenty of water. There is no water bottle sold so carry your own. Out of 2833 steps, first 800 was easy! From there it is just uphill and gives you worth a good workout!
Clean tap water is available for every 100 meters and the path is too clean as well. Must visit path!

This is alternate route to Alipiri. This route is open from 6 am to 6 pm only. You will have to take an auto or bus from Kalyana Venkateshwara temple which is further 6 kms inside to reach the start point of Srivari Mettu. It has around 2388 steps to reach Tirumala.
They issue around 5000 darshan tickets if you choose this route which is based on first come first served basis.
It’s continuous steps which approximately takes between 1.5 hours to 2 hours.
Our experience - I have walked this route for atleast 20 - 25 times since last decade. I have taken 1.5 hours. You get water, juice and snacks in this route.

With the finest views and 2388 steps, Srivari metlu is quickest route to get to tirumala on foot. If you're under 50, you can choose this option with ease. Cause some steps make be harder to climb for people with back and knee pain. Reaching takes between one and two hours.

Srivari Mettu, which is near Srinivasa Mangapuram is an alternative walk path to Tirumala. Many pilgrims prefer Srivari Mettu to Alipiri Mettu, due to its easy to climb nature and less number of steps. Srivari Mettu is around 20 kilometres from the city of Tirupati. It is said that, Lord Venkateswara himself travelled in this route to reach Tirumala from Srinivasa Mangapuram.
The story behind Srivari Mettu is, after getting married to Sri Padmavathi Devi, Lord Venkateswara was asked to stay in Srinivasa Mangapuram for 6 months after marriage and not to climb Tirumala Hills. It is said that Lord Venkateswara along with Padmavati Devii has stayed in Srinivasa Mangapuram for 6 months that he has travelled to Tirumala through Srivari Mettu.

I personally completed it in 1.25hrs. There is Mineral water all through the path and also toilet facilities.
You will definitely enjoy it as it's a mixed emotion of tiresome and also spirituality. Recommend everyone to go early in the morning as the climate would be bearable.
Once you reach the top, rikshaws , jeeps and busses would be available very close by.

Here SSD tokens are issued for footpath claiming pilgrims on daily basis around 3500 tokens are available on first come and first go policy. Infact so many pilgrims are misusing this facility they coming in cars and private vehicles in very early hours and taken tokens over here and getting back into cars going to tirumala in their cars. Not by claiming hill by foot 👣. So many genuine devotees are facing issues even though waiting for hours in Queue facing and fight in that Queue to get tokens which already completed by this car guys. TTD have to maintain some strict action over this.

This shrine holds great significance for Hindus, offering unparalleled peace and joy during Lord Venkateshwara Darshans. Due to its popularity, it can get very crowded, so here are some useful tips for visitors:
1. Ensure to book Darshan tickets in advance through the official website.
2.There are various types of Darshans available, so choose according to your beliefs and budget. Remember, the amount paid is considered a donation utilized by TTD for good causes.
3.Weekdays typically have fewer crowds compared to weekends.
4.You can either walk up to the temple from Allipiri or rear side of the hill called Sri Vari Mettalu (this time it took us 1 hr 20 minutes by walk) or use transportation.
Kindly note: post recent incident, kids below 12 years are not allowed to climb the hill between 2 pm to next day 5 am.
We visit this place approximately once every 3-4 months and always return with renewed enthusiasm. Since decades TTD consistently excels in building, improving, and maintaining this sacred site. We see the changes and better facilities for pilgrims.

Dress code: (for gents) kurta, pyjama or Dhoti with preferred plain shirt or kurta

I have visited temple yesterday. Very pleasant and blessed . Less crowded this time , I used to visit Tirumala two months once . Best time to visit during bramosthavalu ( huge crowd will be there ) but we can see so many programs also visit during vaikunta ekadashi so we can get to see venkateswara swamy very near .
Sharing my journey ……!
We came to Tirumala through srivari mettu so we took Divya Darshan token at 50th step . We took room near CRO office and got fresh up and heading towards Darshan , entered around 1:45 to Q line and reached to Vaikuntam complex by 2:45 and waited for almost 5 hours , later they opened gate and Darshan completed within 1 hr , seen Venkateswara swamy for 30 secs , so blessed . We took laddus from laddu counter , 1 laddu free for Divya Darshan token holders , if you need extra laddu it will cost 50 RS per laddu. We heading toward vengamamba anna prasadam centre and ate food there and return back to room and rook rest. Morning return back to home. Can reach Tirumala 4 options by own vehicle or bus , can walk through srivari mettu (very short and token will get near 50th step but we need to reach this by 6AM , can reach to entrance by own vehicle or rented vehicle)or alipiri mettu (best experience you will get but risky also for aged persons and leg pain people , Divya Darshan token we need to get bhudevi complex , so need to Reach that place midnight only , so they will start giving tokens by 5:30 ) , if bus or own vehicle (need to get SSD tokens near bus stand , railway station …etc or else we can book 300 ticket prior month ) . Suggest to not come directly for Darshan , not sure how much time will take to complete . Also take 300 ticket or ssd or Divya Darshan.

I just love the road it’s so beautiful, lush green mountains.
Place is crowded with too many small shops, making it too difficult for walking close to the temple. It took 5hrs for Darshanam for Rs.300 special Darshanam.
Volunteers are too rude inside the temple sanctum, male volunteers should know how to behave with women devotees, they push inappropriately they make it so uncomfortable. I would request the temple authorities to give them proper guidance and introduction on how to handle the crowd specifically with the women devotees.

Legend says, Lord Vishnu took permission of AdiVaraha (incarnation of Lord Vishnu) to stay in Tirupati. This temple is recommended to visit first before starting your Tirupati tour.
Varaha Swamy is the Lord, who rented 100sq.feet area (about 10square meters) of land on Tirumala hill, as Lord Vishnu happened here & requested Varaha Swamy(from his controlled seven hills) for meditating(and do living..!!!!). In return Lord Vishnu promised (as a compensation)as all Pilgrims shall do the darshan of Varaha Swamy before the Lord Venkateswara. OR their prayers are not fulfilled. Unfortunately many pilgrims ignore this.

We need to visit this place first and then need to visit main temple. It’s very nice place and less crowded and no ticket needed , don’t use any electronic device inside temple , max it will take 10 minutes to complete Darshan if less crowded. It’s near to main temple , laddu counter and on the way to vengamamba annaprasadham center . Please don’t miss this temple when you are in Tirumala .

Before the darshan of "Lord Sri Venkateshwara", devotees are prescribed to have darshan of "Sri Varaha Swamy " . As per Hindu mythology, Varaha Swamy donated land to Lord Sri Venkateshwara on his request . As a gratitude, Venkateshwara swamy offered first bell, first pooja, first Naivedyam(food offering) to Varaha Swamy before offering to Lord Venkateshwara. This is being followed as a tradition even today also.

This is an ancient and a small temple built for the deity Bhuvarahaswamy who is the reigning deity of Tirumala where Sri Srinivasa decides to come and stay to bless his Bhakthas. As such the tradition is before visiting Srinivasa one must have darshan of Bhuvarahaswamy. This is very close to Sri Vari temple.

whole area (seven Hills) is called as Adi Varaha khetra, it means that it belongs to Varaha Swami ,third in ten avataras of Lord Vishnu, whereas Srinivasa/Venkatesa came after eighth avathara that is krishnavathara .So, when Sreenivasa requested Adi Varaha to allow him to stay there, Adi Varaha said what he will get in return? Then Lord Venkatesa said that first darshan and first naivedyam will be given to him .So , as per His word, all devotees should go to Him only after visiting Varaha Swami .So it is customary that we should take bath in pushkarini( if not possible , at least sprinkle some drops of that water on your head ) and get blessings of Lakshmi Varaha Swami ,then proceed to Balaji darshan.

Sri Varahaswamy Temple, situated in the hill town of Tirumala is dedicated to God Varaha. Pilgrims usually offer prayers at Pushkarini and Varahaswamy temple before visiting Lord Venkateswara temple. The temple is located very close to Pushkarini and the main Balaji temple.

Adi Varsha Swamy temple is near Puskarini in Tirumala, First we have to visit this temple, after taking bath in pushkarini, then we have to visit Lord Sri Venkateswara Temple (Balaji Temple ). As per mythology, Varahaswamy is owner of Earth and so , Maha Vishnu requested Varaha Swamy to allot land to him and promised Varaha Swamy that devotees visit Varaha Swamy prior to his visit. So we have to visit this temple, before visiting Sri Venkateswara/ Balaji. This temple, is also famous for keeping the record of agreement between Kubera and Lord Sri Venkateswara that the money given by loan by Kubera for performing the grand marriage of Lord Venkateswara with Goddess Padmavathi and interest on loan be paid to Kuber till the end of Kaliyuga

Shri Varaha Swamy Temple : According to the Brahmapurana, it is imperative for the pilgrims to pay a visit to Sri Bhu Varaha Swamy before visiting Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy. It is Lord Sri Bhu Varaha Swamy who granted land to Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy on his request to reside in the sacred Seven Hills. As a thanks giving gesture, Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy had gifted the privilege of first darshan and first naivedyam to Lord Sri Bhu Varaha Swamy.

The Sri Varahaswamy Temple, also called Bhu Varahaswamy Temple, is a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Varaha, situated at hill town of Tirumala in Tirupati, located in Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh state, India. The temple is situated on the northern premises of Venkateshvara Temple, Tirumala, on north west corner of Swami Pushkarini. This temple is believed to be older than the Venkateshvara shrine.
As per the regional legend, after saving the earth from the asura Hiranyaksha, Vishnu's boar avatar Varaha stayed on this hill on the northern bank of Swami Pushkarini. Hence Tirumala Hills is also referred to as Adi Varaha Kshetra.[2] In the beginning of the present Yuga Kali Yuga, Varaha donated land to another form of Vishnu - Venkateshvara on his request. As a gratitude, Venkateshvara offered the right of first bell, puja and naivedyam (food offering) to Varaha before they were offered to him. This is being followed as a tradition even today.
Devotees are prescribed to have darshana ("sight") of Varaha before Venkateshvara. It is believed that the pilgrimage to Tirumala will not be complete without having a darshana of Varaha.
The temple was renovated by Pedda Tirumalacharya in the year 1535 CE.

One must visit this temple before visiting the main temple...
" This temple is near the Pushkarini. AS per the legends the Tirumala Hills belongs to Lord Varaha Swamy and when Lord Balaji wanted to settle on Tirumala Hills, he obtained permission from Lord Varahaswamy. In turn Lord Venkateswara Swamy pledged that all his devotees will visit lord Varaha before visiting him (lord venkateswara swamy). Hence it is the duly/custom of all the pilgrims to have a darshan of Lord Varahaswamy before going for darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy. Generally everybody will be in a hurry to have a darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy. But we should follow the order"

This is one of the best temples in Tirumala. When I entered the temple, the smell was really good that I didn't smell it for a while. That smell amazed me and also will help in focusing. There was no crowd when I visited in the morning at around 6:30 AM. I suggest people not give money to pujaris.

The place of tirumala Tirupati is lord varaha swamy.
The legal agreement varaha swamy to give the tirumala mountain to lord sri venkateshwar swamy.
Agreement: First Puja and devotes to visit lord varaha swamy and then after to visit lord venkateshwar swamy.
Who followed the above agreement the devotees peoples wishes will be granted only. Other wise they will not.
I have an suggestion, they are separat lines to visit lord venkateshwar swamy but all line first visit to lord varaha swamy and then line continued to the lord venkateshwar swamy. If TTD management do these Evey devotees they make happy

This is one of the most powerful and visited temple in the world. This temple was open by 24/7. We can Darshan Lord Venkateshwara Swamy by sarva darshan and 300/- rupees tickets. After darshan we should get peace of mind and our problems will clear. Main point is first we have to darshan Sri Varahaswami followed by Sri Vari temple (Lord Venkateshwara Swamy). In tirumala weather was nice.

I studied in Rishi Valley for nine years, entering at age six. It was a phenomenally rich and rewarding experience. Apart from a consistently strong academic record - Rishi Valley's students enter and attend Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Carnegie Mellon, UC Berkeley, Oxford and Cambridge (with a modicum of ease, I might add) - the school curriculum has a superb extracurricular and creative component (music, dance, theatre, yoga and art), which ascertains that all its students grow up seriously embracing more than one creative activity. The football field is humoungous, with the iconic Cave Rock Hill looking down upon it; there's a huge hockey field, tennis courts and basketball, volleyball and kabbadi fields. Hiking is common - the Valley's own hills are available for hikers; so are the nearby Horsley Hills, Rishi Konda, Bodi Konda and Central Peak.
This comes coupled with an enviable teacher-student ratio - 1:6 - which hasn't changed in the last three decades. Finally, Rishi Valley's setting is both spectacular and difficult to match up to - 375 acres of gorgeous green valley and rolling hills for its 360 students. If you actually visit, you'll witness that the entire valley is dotted with small villages, hence the feeling of inhabiting a space of 5000 acres is more akin to what we, as children, experienced. I'd go back there any day!

Situated approximately 9 miles from Madanapalle town, it is considered one of the top day trip destinations near Bangalore. The area is characterized by its picturesque setting, surrounded by five hills and renowned for activities such as trekking and hiking.
The Talakona Waterfall is a picturesque attraction that features an observation area at the bottom and a steep climb to the top. It is a great place to visit with family and friends on weekends, with its cold water providing a refreshing respite from the heat. The best time to enjoy the climate is between 11 am and 2 pm, but visitors are advised to bring their own food or eat elsewhere as local canteen workers may not be wearing masks while cooking and serving food.

It is an amazing place to visit with family & friends. Do visit temple & then go for a small Trek for 1-2 kms & you reach the waterfall.
Be careful when you get in the water as there are stones and rocks & it is very slippery so you may get hurt.
For better experience visit in weekdays as in weekends it's very crowded.
There is no changing rooms in that place. That is major problem for women.

From the Entrances you can drive your own vehicle at a certain distance, from there you can walk a certain distance to see the beauty of the waterfall. You have safari at a certain distance for needed ones. Please carry water bottles and food, you don't find any shop after entrance.

The waterfall was a hidden gem, nestled amidst the lush greenery of the forest. The journey to the falls was an adventure in itself, with a 20-minute walk through the woods. The anticipation of what lay ahead made the walk all the more exciting.
The falls were divided into two parts, each with its own unique charm. The first part was a sight to behold, with water cascading down the rocks in a mesmerizing display. But the real magic lay in the second part, where the falls were bigger and more majestic. To get there, we had to trek for another 15 minutes. But the effort was worth it, as the view was simply breathtaking.
However, the parking situation was a bit of a hassle. The area was teeming with mischievous monkeys who were more than happy to check out our bikes and make them dirty. So, beware of these little rascals!
Also, keep in mind that the falls are open only until 4 pm. So, plan your visit accordingly.
Overall, the waterfall was a delightful experience that left us feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse themselves in nature’s beauty

I visited here on 2024 Pongal holiday solo on bike from Chennai. The travel itself was challenging almost 4+ hours of travel along with the early morning mist making it an impossible ride. I planned to be there before 8:30am their opening time but then I reached around 9-9:30am. You'd be charged 10₹ for parking 🅿️ and another 30₹ per head for entry. They have a large open space beneath the falls where vehicles are parked. For bikes, monkeys are the most annoying thing you'll regret on for travelling on a bike there as they'd check your bike for food and and making it clumsy. My tank cover was torn when I came 🔙.
As I was early I came across only a fewer crowd till 10 or 11am but after that they place was filled with people. If you're looking for peace and alone spot come very very early for privacy. Most exciting spot to chill and have fun beneath the falls if you visit with larger crowds. Look out for kids safety by yourself as there is no incharge of sort overseeing the crowd. It is better stay at the bottom foot pond like structure beneath the waterfall that one would see after parking their vehicle if you have more elderly persons and kids with you.
3rd spot on top is too slippery and the fencing there is irregular and not well maintained, so go there at your own risk. People even go above that to reach the top of the falls but it is not recommendable as there is no proper visible path and being dense forest area one might even lose time finding the way without any locals.
Early in the morning 🌅 the water was so chill and breath taking to bathe in.
Must visit spot in AP if you're around thirupati, plan accordingly so that you can have a visit when you plan for thirupati.

Talakona Waterfalls is one of the beautiful waterfalls in India and also it is a famous tourist spot in Andhra Pradesh which is located at Chittor district and it is also near to the famous devotional pilgrim Tirumala.
The beauty of waterfalls is awesome and the glow of water is continuous around all the seasons and more in rainy and winter seasons.
The hill station and the waterfall environment makes you feel surprised and amazing.
The roadway where we pass through the dense forests is very pleasant and makes you feel that you are in Amazon forests.
The greenery and the tall trees and their medicinal values make you feel pleasant and peaceful.
There is a distance of nearly 2 to 3 kilometres we will walk in the deep forest where we can hear pleasant birds sounds and some rare birds also we can see.
One of the best tourist spots and waterfalls in Andhra Pradesh.

Grand Canyon of India | Gandikota Guide - A Ride to Gandikota
Nature & Parks
Canyons
Travel Difficulty: Moderate, mostly because of language
Cost: Average, One way rickshaw will cost you Rs. 300
Time to visit: Sunrise and Sunset, avoid sunny/warm days
Canyon view is amazing, some water activities if you can try, nothing like that!
The way to view point is from the fort, area is huge, a temple is also in same campus.
It's definitely not more than a day visit if you are not planning to camp near canyon and do some water activities.

Must visit place. Make sure to hydrate yourself properly and carry water bottles as there is nothing inside. The path tk the cliff is quite good. I took my 67 year old dad almost to the entrance of the cliff and he was able to manage.
We visited the place early morning at around 8 AM. This was ideal as the sun was not yet up and not many people so photo opportunities were good.
There is no entry or parking fees. You can take your car all the way inside. Parking is in an open spot.

Gandikota or the Grand canyon of India.
I travelled solo to this place...this place not only offers you natural beauty but also you can see the historical side in the fort.
Overnight camping at a reasonable rate are available.
Sunrise and sunset are the worth watching.
Imagine just waking up from your tent to a beautiful sunrise beside the canyon...it cannot be explained through words and photos.
Weekend trip can be planned here.

Very nice geological formation. Enjoyed the views. Worth the visit. But we need to be extremely careful as there are no safety barriers. Govt has not done anything for the tourists. The entry road to the canyon is very dirty and disgusting. No shelter nearby if it rains. Lots of monkeys.

- Superb place to experience.
- The gandeur view is great.
- The depth of the river from Canyon must be about 150 - 200ft, atleast feels so. Could actually be even more.
- One must be careful climbing rocks to get best view of the place.
- We were there in the evening, fortunately not much heat to feel.
- Small eateries just outside the place.
- We book Haritha resorts, online booking.
- Rooms were in decent condition.

Nice place, evening and early morning are the best time to be in the location. The evening and morning sunlight paints the canyon rock in deep red to create a fantastic picture to capture. Many young people take risk standing on the edge of the rock to take selfish.
The water in the river was low this time and cloudy and no sun set.

Calling this the "Grand Canyon of India" is a wild exaggeration. Does not come anywhere near the scale of the Grand Canyon.
That said, it is nice to see India attempt to preserve such natural beauty. It was great during both sunrise and sunset. Practically deserted during sunrise. Very crowded during sunset. The Penna river was fairly full when we went - to the point where boating options were cancelled due to fast currents. There is a trail nearby that takes you down to the river. It is fairly steep with very little shade. I would recommend going very early in the day. The views on this trail are pretty great and because it is away from the roads and other people, you can hear all the sounds of nature.
It gets incredibly hot. It was 43C when we went. Take lots of water.

That was a great experience "Grand Canyon of India". We can enjoy a lot here. It would be better if we reach before sunrise to View Point. Also this place has a boating facility. Even the Road to Gandikota is also excellent.

Jwala Narasimha Swamy temple is located 4 kms from upper Ahobilam on the top of hill called Achala Chaya Meru. The presiding deity rules Angaraka/ Mars. Narasimha Swamy is seen with 8 Arms holding the head and legs of Hiranyakasipu on his lap. There is small pond called Rakta Kunda tritha , where Swamy washed his blood stained hands after killing Hiranyakasipu. It is great wonderful, marvelous experience, trekking through, river, water, rocks, man made steps and rough path. The waterfall near the temple is wonderful and different experience when you pass through the waterfall and the view from inner side of the fall. Sri Jwala Narasimhaswamy Temple is one of the 9 narsimha Swamy temples in Ahobilam. The trekking is very adventurous to this temple.
The trekking initially begins with small water ponds and later through 200 to 250 steps. After reaching the peak you can have small water falls flowing from the top of the hill (during summer it's low and high during the rainy season).

“Highest Peak temple of Ahobilam Trip”
Ahobilam is scared place located in the Kurnool District of Andhra Pradesh which is @ 24 km away from Allagadda. Allagadda is the nearest town from where frequent Bus facility is available. Ahobilam is located in the hills of the eastern ghats. Ahobilam is the only place where 9 Swayambu temples are located at one place. Ahobilam is the place where the Lord Narasimha swamy killed Hiranyakasipu and saved Prahalada. The area where Ahobilam is now situated was once the location of Demon king Hiranyakashipu's Palace. This was the palace where Shri Narasimha emerged from a pillar and Killed hiranyakashipu. This happened many years ago and now Nature took its cource and several mountains and hills came to be formed. Still Ugra Stambam is there and one can witness the same, for which there is trecking route available right to the Jwala Narasimha Swamy temple while going to the temple. Stalapuranam of Ahobilam gives an account of nine forms of Narasimha worshipped here and Jwala Narasimha Swamy temple is first temple in this list. The list of 9 temples are as Below, 1. Jwala Narasimha Swamy Temple 2. Ahobila Narasimha Swamy Temple 3. Malola Narasimha Swamy Temple 4. Kroda (Varaha) Narasimha Swamy Temple 5. Karanja Narasimha Swamy Temple 6. Bhargava Narasimha Swamy Temple 7. Yogananda Narasimha Swamy Temple 8. Chatravata Narasimha Swamy Temple 9. Pavana Narasimha Swamy Temple Actually the above mentioned sequence is the right sequence to visit the temples, but its is difficult to visit in the sequence as we have to climb the hill station twice if we follow the sequence, so most of the Devotees follows the route which is convenient based on the shortest distance. Jwala Narasimha Swamy Temple is the Heighest peak in this trip and most memorable visit it will be. There is only option to go is by trekking and second option is Dolly for which they are charging 3000 per person. We visited all 9 temples in one day and most of the distance we covered by walk. we hired Guide for 1500 INR and started Journey at 08:30 am after completion of breakfast at Eguva Ahobilam. We started initailly towards Pavana Narasimha Swamy and from there we reached to Malola Narasimha Swamy temple, then visited Jwala Narasimha Swamy temple and then started return journey, in return we visited Varaha Narasimha Swamy temple and then finally reached to Eguva Ahobilam temple by 12:40 pm and had darshan, with this Darshan we had 5 temples Darshan in First Half and then Had Lunch. After Lunch we started Journey towards Diguva Ahobilam and on the way we visited Karanja Narasimha Temple and then reached to Diguva Ahobilam and visited Chatravata and Yogananda Narasimha temples, but due to lunch time both the temples were closed so we had Darshan from outside. after that we Visited Bharga Narasimha temple which is the 9th and Last temple in our trip of the Nava Narasimha Swamy temples. First Half we visited all 5 temples by Walk only. Near Jwala Narasimha Swamy there is Rakta Gundam in which till today water is in Red color and as per history it is said that this is the Gundam (Water Pond) in which Lord Narasimha Swamy cleaned his hands after killing Hiranyakashipu. and also there is route to Ugra stambam trecking near . Wonderful experience. First things first- Wear good shoes or waterproof sandals with a good grip on rocks. Carry water. There are monkeys they will try to grab any plastic packets, so be careful. If in rainy season then carry an umbrella.

This is the place where Lord Narasimha killed the demon Hiranyakashipu. But to reach this temple, one has to take the austerity of the challenging trek from upper Ahobilam till this point. Towards the end of trek there are lots of stairs, some of them very steep. With timely breaks during the trek it would be easy to reach Jwala Narasimha Swamy temple. We were fortunate enough to have darsan of Lord and the poojari was very kind. He explained the history of this place, narrated why Lord is a particular form over there. If you're lucky, you may get the opportunity to see the waterfalls near the temple and if you're too lucky you may even get to see a Rainbow and take a selfie with it 😉

Explore the divine Jwala Narasimha Swamy Temple in Upper Ahobilam, near Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. Enveloped by awe-inspiring mountains, adorned with cascading waterfalls, and graced by a serene river. An extraordinary experience awaits, as all pilgrims must pass beneath a rejuvenating waterfall, a symbolic cleansing ritual, before entering the sanctum of the Lord's temple.

This is one of the holiest shrines to visit in Ahobilam it is also one of the hardest because of a moderate trek amidst beautiful forest. The temple is on a hill called 'Achalachaya Meru', about four kilometers from Upper Ahobilam temple. This place is said to be the actual spot where the fierce anger of the Lord reached its culmination when he tore the daemon Hiranyakasipu. The forest is very dense. On the way to the temple is the Ugra Sthambham.

A beautiful temple situated perching in sllated rocks. About 4 kms of trekking is needed to go there. In rainy season it's difficult to go. Nearly 1000 steps are there. So heart patients should take some care. There is a waterfall just before the temple. Take some dryfruits and nuts for trekking.

Belum Caves, located on the Indian subcontinent, offers a remarkable experience with its vast underground cave system adorned with geological formations and artificial lighting. The site boasts the largest and longest cave system open to the public in India, featuring long passages, galleries and spacious caverns that occasionally contain fresh water. Visitors are advised to bring a torch or headlamp for better visibility as sticky mud may cause footwear loss. Additionally, one should carry water bottles due to stuffiness inside causing excessive sweating.
A very well maintained cave. It has sufficient lighting and oxygen inside and has directions that are clear so that one doesn't get lost inside the cave. Has ventilation ducts at few places to keep the air circulation at a good pace. The place is very neatly maintained and no plastic waste was found inside the cave. The formation of the rocks and everything looks so good and interesting if one is willing to explore and learn more about it. A good place to play scary house with your friends of course :) Important to take water bottles before going in as one would sweat a lot and feel thirsty in their journey. All in all a good place to visit to spend some quality time.

People who love adventures and rock formations, would certainly love to go to this place. Such a natural beauty. The cave is so deep, wide and long. It absolutely amazes you at every part with its deep trenches. There are places within the cave which are so narrow and the rocks are porous as the water keeps dripping through these rocks.
Please make sure to have nice footwear (sandals or gum boots) as you have grip and not hurt your feet. The whole tour would approx take 2 hours. You'll drain all your energy by the time you are back as the terrain is tough, long and, very suffocating. You end up profusely sweating. Carry some energy drinks and food to keep yourself hydrated and keep your energy levels high.
The sad part is about the maintenance by the governments. Though we have blowers and lights inside the cave, most of them are out of order and not functional which makes the journey tiring.

This is a natural cave and opened for the public in 2003.
Before going to this cave:
must carry an adequate water bottle. in the cave there is a lot of humidity so wear some light clothes and also for footwear, must have anti skid like shoes as there is some slippery clay like miss are present in the track.
there is a very small waterfall present in the cave. Must visit
Car parking charges 20/-
Adult charges: 70/- per person
It will take a minimum of 1 ½ hr to explore all the paths in the caves. There is marking of all the directions as IN or OUT.

Superb experience. The Buddha statue outside the cave is really calming. The walk inside is out of the world. Really scary in few places. Be careful with your footwear as few places the mud is really sticky and many have lost their footwear. Carry a torch or headlamp for better visibility. There are lights inside. Carry a water bottle as it gets stuffy inside and you sweat a lot.

Ancient and undiscovered place. Very magical feeling once you go more and more inside. The air vents were not working at some places. Wearing shoes is advised as the pavement is uneven. Take your own water bottle and don't leave empty bottles. Basic Telugu if you can read it'll be helpful although all the exit are written in English. l

Underground caves miles and miles long !
Amazing shapes and structures formed naturally over thousands of years by erosion, deposition, transfer of minerals by water, etc.
A must-visit place for many reasons, but one is rarity.
To make the best of your visit, be sure to take a very powerful torch because your phone LEDs are insufficient to see the details.
And wear well fitting shoes, because slippers/sandals are very dangerous for the terrain.
Carefully note or photograph every junction you pass, most have no English signs, and you can't phone for help as there is insufficient signal underground.
Not an enjoyable or safe place for naughty children or aged people though.

We traveled to Belum caves on a Saturday afternoon. The place does get a lot of tourists as it was quite busy Saturday.
The ticket is priced at ₹70 adults and ₹50 kids. They were surprisingly only accepting cash payment which is quite inconvenient, they should start card payments/UPI.
The caves are well maintained, have good air ventilation, well placed signs to follow. I wish the AP government authorities would keep dustbins inside the caves as people do carry water bottles and tend to throw them randomly. Do carry water bottles if possible it can can get quite humid and sweaty inside.
Belum caves are 3229m long and are the second largest natural caves in Indian subcontinent. Definitely recommend visiting it.
Improvement-
* Even though it’s mentioned Staircase is damaged people were still climbing on it. Please do fix the staircase as it’s not safe.
*Washrooms are are in a pitiable state! Requesting the authorities to take action and upgrade the facilities.
*Beautification of the overall place can be done too.
*Besides the caves the place was looking quite dull and make it more scenic with plants and good facilities.
* need good restaurants facilities also

Plus points : A magnificent creation of Nature worth visiting . The stalactites , stalagmites, courses and caverns were created over a period of millions of years , by an ancient flow of water through limestone and quartz . This is the second largest subterranean cave system in India .
Depth goes from 80ft to 120 ft . Air vents are provided at regular intervals . Photography is allowed .
Minus points : Being a Protected Monument under care of the State Government , more thought and sensitivity should have gone into its maintenance .
The garish colored lights are an eyesore marring the natural beauty of the rocks . The spiral stairway to get to the low point is shaky . Names of caves and Exit signs are painted directly on cave walls instead of on boards .
Fact file :
Entrance ticket : Rs70 per adult . Carpark :Rs20
Guides ( Telugu,Hindi,English) available .
Kids playground , basic toilets, a snack kiosk in premises .
Recommended : Carry water . As it gets very humid and sweaty inside, carry a hand towel too. Good walking shoes , to walk on uneven surfaces . Visit during cooler hours of the day and in dry , non-rainy season .
Reportedly, crowded on weekends .
Please do not break off stone bits to carry as souvenir . Please do not scribble/ scratch your initials on those ancient rocks . Please don’t litter . It was painful to see some tourists doing such things , during my visit.
Lets learn to respect shared heritages .

An amazing cave experience. Recommend every visitor traveling to city of Kurnool or Nandyal in State of Andhra Pradesh to take some time out and visit Belum Caves.
An advisory would be to carry Torch-light as there are zones which are very dim lit corners. A to Gaurav Buddhas statue adorns at entrance. The Caves are very well planned and our appreciation to the Team behind the concept and execution too.
The overall maintenance of Caves leaves a lot to be desired. A few zones had no AC and the places were hot and perspiring too. There were broken equipments like AC parts and broken light consoles that were lying in open and had not been moved out.

It was different experience to be in underground caves. Rock formations inside caves are really beautiful. Main drawback was feeling too much hot inside the caves due to more crowd. This temple was constructed by King Harihara Bukka Raya of the Sangama Dynasty of the Vijayanagara Empire in the 15th century.[citation needed] It was built according to Vaishnavaite traditions.
One story of the site's origin is as follows: The sage Agastya wanted to build a temple for Lord Venkateswara on this site. However, the statue that was made could not be installed as the toe nail of the idol got broken. The sage was upset over this and performed a penance for Shiva. When Shiva appeared, he said the place suits Shiva better as it resembles Kailash. Agastya then requested Shiva to give the devotees a Parvathi Goddess as Lord Uma Maheswara in a single stone, which Shiva obliged.
A second story is as follows: Chitteppa, a devotee of Shiva, was worshiping Shiva and Shiva appeared to him as a tiger. Chitteppa understood that it was Lord Shiva in tiger form, and shouted Neganti Shivanu ne kanti (meaning: I saw Shiva I saw), and danced with joy. There is a cave called Chitteppa nearby. Sri Yaganti Uma Maheswara Temple is one of the few temples patronized by one of the great dynasties of India. Every year Maha Shivaratri is celebrated and a large number of devotees from all over Andhra Pradesh visit. Shiva, Parvati and Nandi are the main deities in this temple. This temple is 14 km away from Banaganipalli in kurnool dt. The saint lord Veerabrahmendra swami stayed here for some time and wrote Kalagnanam

Amazing temple to be visited, most of the time it’s crowded. Shiva is the main deity at this temple, once you come out of the darshan you will witness a huge Nandi statue. Just adjacent to the temple you will see a hill connecting from the shiva temple to this step hill. Once you climb the steep hill you will see Venkateshwara swamy. It is believed that Lord Venkateshwara stepped his foot 🦶 first here, Kadapa was his second and third is Tirumala. So the Poojari said that what ever we wish to happen in your life you can pray here and once it’s fulfilled we have to perform Pooja to the deity. Must visit temple.

The Yaganti Temple is a temple of Shiva located in the Nandyal district of Andhra Pradesh, India 1. It was constructed by King Harihara Bukka Raya of the Sangama Dynasty of the Vijayanagara Empire in the 15th century 1. The temple was built according to Vaishnavaite traditions 1.
One story of the site’s origin is as follows: The sage Agastya wanted to build a temple for Lord Venkateswara on this site. However, the statue that was made could not be installed as the toe nail of the idol got broken. The sage was upset over this and performed a penance for Shiva. When Shiva appeared, he said the place suits Shiva better as it resembles Kailash. Agastya then requested Shiva to give the devotees a Parvathi Goddess as Lord Uma Maheswara in a single stone, which Shiva obliged 1.
The temple is renowned for its unique architecture and historical significance 2. It is a popular tourist destination and attracts a large number of devotees from all over Andhra Pradesh every year 3. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is famous for its Pushkarini, a small pond of water on the temple premises. Water flows into this Pushkarini from the bottom of the hill through the mouth of a Nandi (bull) 1. Devotees find that a holy bath in Pushkarini is highly beneficial 1.
If you are planning to visit the temple, you may want to check out the reviews on Tripadvisor3. I hope this helps!

Superb location and great views of mountains beside the temple. Koneru and other areas resemble centuries old architecture and wonderful feeling. You can take 75 rupees token for sparsha darsan as well to go in to the garbhalayam. Priests were polite and will explain you the history of temple.
Do visit the lord Venkateswara swamy temple and lord Shiva's cave as well.
Limited rooms to stay here but during week days you shd be able to get one. Free food was fine and you have limited option for food outside as well.
Please see the attached pics and you will know how beautiful this location is, thanks.

Om Namo umamaheswaraiah namah.... It's an ancient and historic Temple especially the Nandi situated here. As per Sri veera Bramham Gari kalagnanam, if Yaganti Nandi stand and move it will be sign of kaliyugam ending. For every 20 years the Nandi size will increase one inch which was Declared by Archeology Department of India. There are 2 famous pushkarinis in this Temple which was identified by Sri Aagastya mahamuni. There are 3 Famous caves named as Sri Venkateswara cave, Aagastya cave, and Belu caves. If you want to perform sparsha Darshanam to lord Uma maheswara u will take ticket cost of 75 rupees for each person. Entry ticket Rs. 10. If you want to visit this temple there are no direct bus facility. First you will reach Nandyal then you pick banagaipalle bus. Finally u want to reach Yaganti from banagaipalle choose autos is better than RTC Bus because no frequent buses. Autowala will charge Rs. 60 for a round trip between Banagaipalle to Yaganti.

The nearest town is Banaganapalli. Do visit the caves and learn about the history of the temple while you are here. It is very amusing. And the speciality here is the growing Nandi (bull) which is predicted to come to life and it is believed among the locals that when the stone turns to life, the world will end. It's the temple where Shiva is in the form of Uma Maheshwara. Do visit during Shivratri for the best experience possible.Oh and there's entry fee for the temple. It should be around 10 to 20 rupees.

I have visited this temple recently. Here is a detailed review.
The temple is very nice and beautiful. Preferable to visit at night time. The temple is very neat and clean. Don't forget to carry towel and pair of dress because I suggest you to bath in temple koneru.
Coming to negatives this temple is very near to Nandyal but there is no proper public transport service to this temple, you should opt a private vehicles like auto's which can easily take you to the temple.
Hope this review will help you out.

The temple experience was unique; no cameras allowed inside, and there was some confusion at the entrance. Despite visiting during holidays, it wasn't too crowded. Opted for the special entrance at ₹50 per person to avoid the chaos. Mobile locker available, but it's advisable to keep belongings in the vehicle. A good temple overall, but be prepared for various charges.

Exceptionally well maintained... just last month they opened the "పుష్కరిణి " for a holy dip. Water in this పుష్కరిణి is so pure and crystal clear that you can see a 1 rupee coin at bottom which is 5 feet deep. This temple has been renovated and has excellent గోపురం and huge idols which welcome everyone... its surrounded by hills on three sides and the sunrise or sunset is stunningly beautiful. Please be aware that the places where you deposit your footwear and mobiles, they charge you double and have no shame in giving excuses.

Mahanandi Temple in Kurnool is a sacred haven that exudes serenity and spirituality. Nestled amidst lush greenery and surrounded by natural springs, it offers a tranquil atmosphere for devotees and tourists alike. The temple's stunning architecture and intricate carvings reflect the rich heritage of this ancient site.
What makes Mahanandi truly special is the natural water pool within the temple complex. Taking a dip in these holy waters is believed to cleanse the soul. The temple's priests are welcoming and guide visitors through the rituals, making the experience both spiritually enriching and culturally significant.
Whether you're seeking spiritual solace or just want to appreciate the beauty of this historic temple, Mahanandi is a place that leaves a lasting sense of peace and reverence. It's a must-visit destination in Kurnool that connects you to both the divine and the natural world.

Recently visited this temple and it was an amazing experience. The temple is located amid nallamalla forest. Beautiful place.
Highlights of the place are
✓the location of the temple, it's a superb place.
✓the ponds of the temple - the main pond is filled with fresh water all the time.
It's a swimming pool filled with the nature's water😊
✓ there are 2 more ponds outside of the temple which are beautiful too.
It's 18KM far from Nandyala/ Gajulapalle.
Road from Gajulapalle is not at all good. around 3 KM near to temple is completely pathetic, no road at all.
I have given 3 Star rating, only because of the temple's management.
Management of this temple is horrible, always money minded.
There is a free entry to this temple, but no one know unless specifically asks about it. Management at the entrance would lure you to take the 50/- Darshan ticket and they behave as if there were no free Darshan available. If someone asks about free Darshan, only then they will tell them about it, but again they try to convince that 50/- entry is better than the free one.
If someone, after all their manipulation, enters the free line, he/she will definitely face discrimination in treatment and behaviour of the management through out the way.
Even priests at each temple ( there are several temples along main Lord Shiva temple) try to make every one to offer money or purchase Divas etc items.
House keeping persons also rude.
There is a counter at the entrance to deposit mobiles, cameras, as they don't allow them, however I saw people carrying mobiles inside because of the money power.
Overall the temple is awesome, but the management is the worst.

The temple is famous for its fresh water pools, called Pushkarni. The architecture of the temple shows the strong presence of the Chalukya Kings in this region. 1500 year old temple. About 20 kms from Nandyal, in the Nallamala hills. Three holy ponds are in the temple, devotees are taking bath and worship Lord Shiva. Better to have Dharsan from 4.30 A.M, to 7.00 A.M,(suprabhata seva and Sparsha dharsan i.e., Devotees can touch the deity). For these sevas tickets can be obtained in the temple office counter by paying the prescribed amount. The holy ponds are well maintained. Mobile phones are not allowed inside the temple.

Everything is good but the temple authorities and staff are making it as a business on the name of god. They blocked the free darshan lines and made everyone pay for darshan, there is a separate amount for visiting the garbhagudi and separate amount for archana along with separate charges for basic darshan. Even though it wasn’t busy on a Saturday during the karthika month, they didn’t allow anyone to have free darshan.

The Shirdi Sai Baba Temple in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India is a unique Hindu temple shaped like a star. It holds the distinction of being the first temple dedicated to Sri Shirdi Sai Baba in the country. Built on the banks of the Tunga Badra River, this temple was constructed in 1949 and opened its doors to devotees in 1951 during the DASARA Festival.
A star shaped temple of Shirdi Sai baba by the bank of river Tungabhadra. A calm and serene temple worth visiting.

Visited the temple after a long time. My last visit was in 2011. When I was a child we used to visit the temple whenever we visited Kurnool for vacation. I remember taking a coracle ride after darshan. That was in the early 90s. Nostalgic moment for me whenever I visit Kurnool.

Looking good to see. A very peaceful place I have ever seen. One of the best devotional places in kurnool. Located at the back side of the konda reddy burju. Maintenance is good. Every Thursday the temple management provide annadanam.

Many might not know that this is the first Saibaba temple in the world constructed with many significant architectural features. This was constructed by a devotee Late Sri Veeraswamy Naidu on his own vast land on the banks of River Tungabhadra in Kurnool. When this temple came up in 1951 with a marble statue of the saint (foundation laid in 1947) Shirdi premises only had a painting made by one Shyam Rao Jayakar, of Saibaba. There are nine Avadhuta statues in the Kurnool temple. There are other temples within the campus of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Hanuman. Also very popular is a Neem Tree coupled with Aswatha Tree which is considered very sacred by devotees. There’s also a sacred fire place called “Sai Dhuni” around which devotees do pradakhsinams. Most of the Sai devotees consider this temple as a “must visit”.
Shyam Kokku — Google review
Most famous devotional place in Kurnool, this temple is located on the banks of Tungabhadra river, Temple structure built in the star shape.
Local residents says that this temple is built many years before the Shirdi temple was built, very cool and peaceful environment here, maybe because of the temple is built on the banks of river Tungabhadra.
There is no time limit for darshan the template is open all days all time in day.

Approximately 168kms from Secunderabad & 10 kms from Pebbair, a nice place to visit you want a devotional getaway. Surrounded by a lake Ranga Samudram add to more than pleasant view of the temple built by Wanaparthy Samstanam in 18th Century. Elegant and tall Gopurams, rock structure, and mandapams resembling mini Ranganatha swamy temple you will not get disappointed. The Sanctum sanctorium has Lord Sri Ranganathaswamy with Sri Devi and Bhoo Devi. Another mandapam has Lakshmi Devi. Every month on Revathi Nakshatram they perform masa kalyanam and special pooja during sankranthi, shravana masam and Rathotsavam.
If you are lucky enough you can have a boat ride in Ranga Samudram by the Telangana tourism
Other nearby places to visit are Gadwal, Joorala project and Beechupally Hanuman temple.

One of the oldest temple of Sri Ranganayaka Swamy varu along with his consorts Sri Devi & BhuDevi.
Inside of the temple...Sri Mahalakshmi Devi Amma temple , idols of Sri SeethaRama Lakshmana sahitha Hanuman, Alvars along with Sri Annamayya idols, Abhaya Hastha Hanuma, Sri venkateswara swamy varu along with his consorts were also present inside of the temple.
The temple atmosphere is very pleasant and divineful. The water bay surrounding the temple attracts the pilgrims. The Naadhaswaram that will be played everyday in the temple is so soothening.
The corridors of the temple was very large and when we sit in that temple corridor the Peace in Mind is unexplained.

This looks very old and gives a special feeling. The ranganayaka swamy is in sleeping position. The temple also has Anjaneya swamy, the twelve alwars within the temple. Archana costs Rs 20.
There is a pond next to the temple.
There is almost no specific parking area but there is lot of space and can accomodate upto 20 vehicles. There are toilets adjacent to temple.
There is a garden outside the temple to have lunch and snacks and is a good area for kids to play.

Encalm Lounge

Travel lounge
Lounge
Airport Lounges
Enclam Lounge at Rajeev Gandhi International Airport is a must visit place. The staff is very cooperative and friendly, appreciate the hospitality. Ambience is very good and nice place to relax for 2 hours. Chef is very cooperative, skilled and humble. Food quality is also good.
Only thing which needs improvement is basically not in hands of the Lounge staff is the waiting time during peak hours. During peak hours the Lounge gets fully packed hence passengers needs to wait outside to get it vacant so that they can move inside the Lounge.
Overall one of the best lounge in India for domestic flights.
Alok Singh — Google review
Compact and crowded
The lounge needs to be expanded to cater the ever growing travel traffic. Que at check jn and at food counter is normal. Seating space is for the lucky ones.
Array of food is limited. However the taste is good. Staff is very courteous, patient and Helpful.

Plaza Premium doesn't require reviews, but tips. Make sure, your debit/credit cards have complimentary lounge access (if yes), they will charge 2rs for the time you are present during layover. The foods are ultimately classic & desi. Alcohol, you need to pay certain fee charges (I'm not sure precisely). Rest, try to fill yourself in cabin corners, for privacy if you're working or need private time. Amazing experience of 3hrs here.
Kiruba Karan — Google review
Lounge is good and have good ambiance as well. The food quality is decent but not the greatest one. The staff is really supportive and helpful.
I loved the vermicelli sweet dish over here.
Make sure to check your card if that supports it or not or else it will cost you around 1.6k for 2 hours.
Shubham Maheshwari — Google review
Good service! Good food! You can use your debit/ card card which has offer for this lounge access only for Rs. 2. It's not depends on your own card. If you have two card you can enter two people. It's all the number of card vs people. If you have long layover you can enjoy staying and taking a break.

Encalm lounge is the best place to get relaxed. You can enter in to this lounge prior to 3 hrs of boarding. You can get free food from all choices veg and non veg. Snacks also available. Drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic are unlimited. Workstations available to work. Food is very tasty. This is located at gate 21 but in Google it shows at 28.

Excellent facilities. Location near departure 28 gate no. 24 hours open. Buffet menu. Had dinner. Chapati not available. Food quality I would give 3 ratings. Food available 24 hours. Tea coffee and coldrinks also available. Shower and masage facilities also available. Customer service very good.
Tanveer Qaiser — Google review
This time I got early to lounge, no queue line this time. There's always a big queue on holidays and weekends. So better visit as early as 3hr before boarding or else book flights on weekdays to avail. Food was good but there were limited types. The alcohol stand was closed when I visited. Always check your card eligibility to lounge access before coming and waiting in Queue. You can enquire by calling encalm lounge customer care number.
Mani Chandra — Google review
This was my first time visiting the Encalm lounge at Hyderabad Airport. It took me hours to search the location and it was a peak time rush for lunch at around 12pm. If you go at peak hours you will find it difficult to search for place to sit. The buffet was healthy, delicious and tasty that one can eat while traveling. They had some local South dishes, don't miss that and you can find non veg too. Soft drinks also. I got access for 2 hours only. Thank you for the healthy food to all the chefs, I loved it.
