There's something for everyone at this place. Night life if that's what you are after and a great beach, warm and clean sea if that's what you have come for. Worth a visit in summer for sure...

Beach is quite good. Whilst not the prettiest, and is fairly busy, the surrounding environment consisting of an extremely large variety and number of shops, restaurants, casinos to enjoy in the area, especially near the centre. Items and food is often cheap but quality is dependent on the location. The weather in the summer months is often sunny but very hot, with occasional thunderstorms. Definitely worth visiting and exploring

The beach is very nice. Sand is good and clean. Water is not something out of this world but it's still nice.
There is a big walking spot by the beach and some attractions. And a very big amount of ATMs, never seen anything like that.
There is some very fancy hotels that smell expensive.
I have been here a bit before the summer season, late may,and there was already a lot of people. Mostly young people around 20 years old. It seems like a place that can go out of hand in summer.

Overrated resort! A lot of low quality stuff there, from overall infrastructure to people and services. But in the end you get what you pay for... The south part (near Nessebar) of the area is better though.

I headed to Ovstug by taxi straight from the airport in Bryansk, where I had flown for a couple of days. This is three tens of kilometers. It's also about the same distance from the city. Therefore, visiting the estate and the museum, in addition to time for inspection and excursion, requires time to get there and return to the city. But I didn’t regret it at all! Since the plane from Moscow arrived at ten o’clock in the morning, I ended up in Ovstug already at half past ten. Fortunately, the museum and estate had just opened after the Covid quarantine, so I bought a ticket at a symbolic price to visit the estate house, and while waiting for the start of the guided tour, I walked around the estate.
Gazebo by the pond
Several old trees, in my opinion, still remember Fyodor Ivanovich - they are about two hundred years old. You can walk past them across the pond along an elegant bridge to a beautiful gazebo, remembering Tyutchev’s lines and admiring the swans swimming along the pond.
Far Arbor
This gazebo is located in the far corner of the park, where you will walk through shady alleys, stopping at cages with exotic birds.

Radioactive amusement park abandoned in April 1986 after the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
After seeing the disaster happening on TV. Never did I think I would get to experiance this place for real. I have travelled extensively but this ranks as the best experience I've had. It's saddening to walk round and hits home just how bad things where yet seeing it 30+ years later and how nature now owns the place its stunning yet deserted and crumbling and quite errie. The silence on a place where time stood still after that awful day just blows you away.
I shall visit again and if your in the Ukraine this is a must do tour. It changes with the seasons so be prepared in summer being fully clothed ( arms and legs must be covered) it's very hot.
Not just the amusement park but chernobyl and chernobyl 2 and reactor.
Thankyou to Jenny our guide and the Ukraine for the hospitality and this experiance.

Huge amount of history. Not many may know that events unfolded there, if not for all the heroes, would trigger apocalypse level event..
Going there with chornobyl-tour.ua (official touring company for the area) was absolutely great choice.
Our guide Elena was really wonderful guide - she knew really huge amount of information about past events and the place itself
The tour takes all day.
There is a shop right before entering the exclusion zone. It's the last shop for the tour!
There is a lunch at the power plants food hall (expect real Soviet era type of food, it's not bad, it's just.. you have to experience it to understand)
I've been there during the winter time, and it was COLD (-20°C / -4°F). But the snow definitely did add some eerie vibe to the experience.
You can rent a Geiger counter to have some fun too.
At entry you get to put a special dosimeter on your neck which will stay there until you'll leave the zone (this way they'll know how much radiation your body received)

As the most popular tourist destination in Ukraine, Kiev-Pechersk Lavra is a UNESCO-listed golden-domed Orthodox Christian monastery that is the holiest place of pilgrimage for Ukrainians. Situated on 28 hectares of lush green hills above the Dnipro River, this subterranean hermitage and its network of catacombs are popular with tourists and pilgrims alike.
It seems to be a complex of church and holy place- i just describe my experience. there was many priest i think it is kind of university for them as well. again i just describe my conclusion. The whole are is so big there was a amazing wooden bridge with nice view - the place had such a relaxing environment - there was a entry fee (very little) to the main churches, it was a underground type with no light. you could buy some candle as a donation and use it to light the inside church cus it was dark.
It was near a museum and motherland statue. so you can visit both at once.

This is a refreshingly happy of sorts religious monument. Forget about being a tourist and just join the crowds, go around and soak the atmosphere. It’s not really “free” to enter but 100 UAH to pay.

Tuğba Bülbül Ataç — Google review
To see that how important religion is and bears basic values for Ukrainian people, one cannot be surpired to see this monastery complex being a historical site and a day-to-day worship place at once. The buildings are in very good shape and the architecture - just like in all Kiev and Ukrain - are so compelling and uplifting that one start to wonder how they keep in touch with God real time? Visit the catacombs to see the preserved history and stroll along with the locals to feel their love and devotion first hand. Out of tradition and respect ladies has to wear a skirt and a scarf over head but don't worry, they are well equipped to provide you with these! Takig pictures obviously prohibited down there but you will never forget this experience!

The Kyivan Rus' (Kievan Rus) was a loose federation of states that existed from the 9th century until its fragmentation in the 13th century. The cathedral, commissioned by Prince Yaroslav the Wise in 1037 and originally built next to his palace, is one of the oldest standing churches in Ukraine and one of the most beautiful.
Big complex of churches and museums with a panoramic view on a square. Highly recommend to visit the Bell tower (75m high), which is right on the main enter. It’ll cost 60 UAH and it’ll definitely worth it

It has a breathtaking structure. Those who want to climb the bell tower will experience the feeling of height after the first floor. There's enough space upstairs on the first floor. The view is spectacular especially in the evenings and cristmas time. The cathedral is one of the oldest and best examples. Mysterious architecture is a marvel. It is already under UNESCO protection. Narrow doors, arched passages, wall frescoes take you on a journey through time.

I headed over to St. Sophia’s Cathedral, which was massive and enchanting, but also super dark, cold and fascinating. The nuns were everywhere to be found and the big entrance was really lovely, but the star of the show is the giant egg display upstairs. It’s a 15,000 painted egg mosaic made in about 10 years ago. The coolest part was that the artist enlisted the help of schoolchildren in order to paint all the eggs needed for the project.

The visit of the cathedral was a nice experience. We were a but disappointed by the side buildings / museum which didn't add too much value to the day (but are very cheap to access) but entering the main cathedrale Sainte-Sophia and going on top of the entrance tower was a wonderful experience. The inside of cathedrale is very rich in decoration and the view from the bell is astonishing.

Amazing cathedral, its even more beautiful when seen from the bell tower. this make climbing the wooden steps of bell tower, worth it. Architectural beauty from inside out. the paintings depicted on the walls are something to be mesmerized with. the atmosphere is so clam, its wonderful to be there. The entrance is chargeable given it also attracts tourists, the fee is nominal at 60 UAH. have cafe and washrooms inside with beautiful garden. can spend hours if one wishes to.

All Kiev itself speaks for the people of this country - you can see their devotion and love for their God and religion. Architecture is their primary language, a beautiful one indeed! To see this thousand year old church and to learn about their millennial city organizing skills makes us, 21st century mortals wonder, how we will be present in the life of those people in a short 100 year from now? I'll never travel to Istanbul without this trip planner again
Ukraine's Motherland Monument is an imposing stainless steel statue commemorating the Soviet Union's victory over Nazi Germany during World War II. Standing 62 meters tall, the monument is a popular tourist destination and can be seen from all over Kiev.
Huge (23rd tallest statue in the world) monument overlooking Kiev. Great views across the city from the area. It's part of the Museum of the Great Patriotic War. I didn't visit the museum itself, was short on time, but there are plenty of exhibits to see outside which you don't have to pay to see. Also some big statues at the base and a tank painted in the Ukrainian national colours.

Museum door guards very rude while we were in the lobby desiring if we go or not into the place. We leave and we did not get in.
Interesting corner with a Soviet taste.

One of the best places i visited in Kiev. It is absolutely amazing. You should definitely visit this place if you are anywhere nearby. There are also museums and WW2 army vehicles on display.

Nice tourist location, it’s explain part of Ukraine history, there is some guns and military vehicles from word war . Ukraine is very beautiful country and the people are very kind, in my opinion the government needs to focus more how to attract the tourist people. It can be one of the best tourist countries over the world.

"A GREAT DAY OUT"
You can easily spend a good few hours walking around here,
Looking at the huge selection of military hardware, statues and monuments.
Best of all it's free 😱😱😱
You can pay for a ticket to go inside and behind the barriers if you wish too.
(we did not see the need to do this so can't comment on it's worth, but it did look like a very impressive exhibition)

Very cool place. Very somber. The museum and monument are done perfectly, impeccable, lots of extremely interesting facts and items from WW2, all the way up to the conflict in Crimea. This is definitely a worthwhile stop. You must go to the top of the monument!

Highly recommended to visit if you are in Kyiv. Was impressed by modern installation of war, Holocaust and current eastern war. And it costs only 50 uah for adults. Unfortunately, city view place was closed, but anyway spending time there was very good.

The most amazing place in Kiev. It's a must visit destination in a traveller's list if he's visiting Kiev. The place is very well built and it displays all the war materials used in World Wars, it's just amazing and can only be felt not described. It has many more nearby tourist places which can be visited by walk or by bus.

Definitely recommend the climb to the top but bear in mind you might need to book as it gets busy - They only have two slots per hour. It's a shame you can only see out behind the shield and not towards the river but still amazing value. Special thanks to Vlad for being an excellent guide.

A beautiful area to visit with so many things to see. Enjoyed my adventure around the reserve on a beautiful sunny day.
Arboretum from the 1800s featuring formal landscaping & lakes with waterfalls & fountains.
Incredible please is really worth seeing. There are many forests, lakes and fountains there. You can take a boat and swim in the lakes. Moreover there are some caves and if you want you can have an excursion underground. Next to the park there is a hotel you can stay there. The best time to visit is spring and summer.

Most beautiful park I visited so far. Includes more than 200 types of roases, inumerous species of shrubs, trees and other plants, statues of greek gods and philosophers, drinkable water fountains, and great views! Expect to be there exploring for at least 3 hours to get to know the main spots, as it's a really big park. Definetly coming back there once I have another opportunity.

And as for me the best attraction is underground river, excursion is on Russian/Ukrainian but you can find everything online.
The Fairytale is a well-established children's playground and park that offers an array of imaginative equipment in a playful atmosphere. This beloved park in Ukraine captivates visitors with its romantic setting, evoking authentic emotions. The Fairytale is adorned with whimsical structures inspired by fairy tales, such as castles and Ferris wheels, creating a nostalgic ambience for both young and old alike. It is an amazing destination that never fails to uplift spirits and generate wide smiles.
Very nice place to play and walk with children.

The first time I visited the "Tale Town" as a child. These children hiking in a video arcade, cafe, train, sailboat left the castle and the warm and pleasant memories.
Now I'm a kid come to this place. The atmosphere remained the same, clean and painted a lot of trees and flowers.
Added premium entertainment venue. The child is like playing maze. Many children with whom you can play together and have fun.
I advise you all to come and see.

A couple of blocks down from Lyahina Street is a public park for youngsters, laid out in the 1980s on the site of the city’s former marketplace.
Most of the amusements in the park are inspired by fairytales, like the carousel with a mermaid from Alexander Pushkin’s poem.
The park pays homage to Mykolaiv’s shipbuilding history, building a replica of its first sailboat the Buyan, which kids can pretend to sail.
There’s also a ferris wheel, fairytale castle, racing track and a genuine steam locomotive that has been made safe for little ones to play on.

Old school children amusement park (it's from soviet Era). Clean and alot if fun for kids. Entry is free but some attractions have a small cost.
Large, seasonal aquatic park with pools & slides for all ages, plus a cafe & lounge areas.
Surprisingly nice water park. Lots of sunbeds, lots of fun waterslides for adults and kids, several cafes and bars. The territory is clean and well-kept. The only major drawback are locker halls where lockers would secure your things only from a small kid, and there are no changing room. Which would be OK if access to female and male halves of the space were restricted, which is not, so female visitors go past male lockers all the time, enjoying a view. You can change in a restroom or shower though.

We visited a hotel named Santorini Beach Hotel and this place was really dirty! The bathroom toilet was full of algae. The apartment smelled really bad like the sewer. The staff would not give us large trash bags to clean our room. There was Security that would follow us around on the property and on the beach. There was no WiFi in the room. The staff even recommended we stay at another hotel.
Sergio Julian — Google review
Be careful! There is an incredibly hot floor outdoor throughout the way to waterslides because of sunny weather so a barefoot run exceedingly hurts.
The Tsunami slide is the best attraction! But not for kids unfortunately.

The Odesa Dolphinarium Nemo is a great place to visit if you're looking for entertainment and an opportunity to interact with dolphins. The show programs are top-notch, and the dolphins are very gentle and playful. However, the Oceanarium section of the facility can be quite sad and depressing, as the animals are living in small and confined spaces.
Stunning performance. Incredibly well done. The trainers are acrobatic and the dolphins are just so smart! And man they can jump so ridiculously high! Like 3 body lengths high.
It is a must go attraction and really, my favourite place in Odessa.
The seats are well designed and no one is blocking your view.
Great show and great price just perfect

The Oceanarium on the other hand was shocking and sad. Unfortunately animals don't have the best conditions and are living in way too small aquariums.

Wonderful experience, wonderful creatures and a lovely atmosphere. The show i enjoyed had appearances of fur seals, sea lions and a handful of dolphins. The trainers are exceptionally well prepared. The show had a wonderful theme and was very exciting. Only thing i did not enjoy was the fact that the show is largely spoken in Russian, even though there were enough foreign people present. If you love dolphins, don't miss out on this incredible experience.

They have an aquarium and dolphin show both with separate entry. The aquarium was only 100 so I entered it. It's pretty small with 1 small room for aquatic animals and another room for lizards, butterflies and insects. It was worth the 100 I think. Staff was friendly and it was something different to do in ukraine. Just keep in mind it's only 2 small rooms. For 100 they can let you hold some of the lizards or snake and have your picture taken with them which was pretty fun.

Animal cruelty in a "5" star hotel. Horrible. Things like that should be prohibited. Why is nobody doing anything against that? How can people visit that place to support such a cruelty on animals 4 dolphins in a mini pool, full with tourists. Government should act. I cannot understand how people can support that. This is inhuman.
But, karma.

beautiful, moving show! In addition to dolphins, you can see seals and a sea lion. the animals have a great relationship with trainers. very good price. only 300uah per person! worth it!
The Potemkin Steps are a grand staircase in Odessa, Ukraine that leads down from Prymorsky to the sea port. They were built as a gift to Prince Vorontsov's wife in the 1840s and feature192 steps over a length of 142 metres and a difference in elevation of 27 metres. The steps are now famous for their appearance in the silent film Battleship Potemkin.
I visited the Potemkin Stairs last 2 mos and was absolutely blown away by its grandeur. The majestic design and well-preserved architecture truly made it a sight to behold. As I climbed up the stairs, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder at the history that this landmark holds. The panoramic view of the city from the top was simply breathtaking, making it a perfect spot for photography enthusiasts like myself. Whether you're a history buff or just looking for some stunning views, I highly recommend checking out the Potemkin Stairs - it's an experience you won't soon forget.

The stairs and the port are about the only things worth seeing in Odessa, but today, June 2023 the whole place is closed off and heavily militarised.

It’s not so hard to accomplish that, guys!
Especially when you’re hungry and you know that upstairs is food 😂
But, honestly, beautiful place with a nice view of the Sea Port and the sea itself. In the square up there are colorful buildings and nice historical monuments.
And a bunch of cool restaurants and bars! 😉

The site is located in a temporary military restricted area and is only accessible to residents and military personnel on duty. If you go from below to the stairs you can photograph up through the NATO wire but there are guards there too. And you obviously should not do it.

One of the important places you must see in Odessa, don’t forget walking near forest, it is also near sea side, harbour, check around and take more pics, it is really suggested to visit. And there is a funicular train near stairs who doesn’t want to climb.

A compulsory place to visit in Odessa. The most recognizable and at the same time one of the most crowded places.
Personally, I thought they will be bigger and most impressive. But anyway the way upstairs is tiring. Beautiful view at the harbor. The stairs- a bit messy. I recommand to take the picture of them from the other side- there's a platform in the harbor.
Agata Gorzyńska — Google review
This grand staircase is a very ceremonious way to enter Odessa from the port.
Paved with granite, the stairway was ordered by Prince Vorontsov as a gift to his wife and built at the turn of the 1840s.
There are 192 steps in total, over a length of 142 metres and a difference in elevation of 27 metres.
The stairway has a few intriguing quirks: One is that it is much broader at the bottom (21.7 metres) than at the top (12.5 metres). That is intentional and was done to create a false perspective and make the stairway seem larger when you’re viewing it from below.
Also interesting is that when you’re standing at the top you can see only the landings while from the bottom you can see only steps.
Ankit Patel — Google review
Very scenic. Also very helpful information centre here that speaks good English. Walk down the stairs and catch the Funicular back up.
Prymorskyi Blvd is a tree-lined parade street in Odessa, Ukraine that intersects Potemkin Stairs for people-watching and viewing monuments. It's popular for walking and contains the first monument to Armanoudus Plessis de Richelieu, who was the first mayor of Odessa.

Perpendicular to the upper landing of the Potemkin Stairs, Primorsky Boulevard is a cultured street and walkway beside Istanbul Park.
On the city side there’s a row of tall mansion blocks, now hotels and museums, while looking out in the harbour are four lanes of pedestrian paths divided by lawns enclosed with little wrought iron railings.
At the top of the Potemkin Stairs you can board a funicular to descend the slope.
Here there’s also a statue of the Duke of Richelieu the first Governor of Odessa, in Roman garb.
Another monument, on the far eastern side of the boulevard, pays homage to Alexander Pushkin, who lived in Odessa for just over a year up to 1824.

Odessa National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet
The Odessa National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet is a must-see in Odessa for anyone interested in the performing arts. The horseshoe-shaped design of the auditorium creates unique acoustics, which allow opera and ballet performances to be enjoyed by all in attendance.
A beautiful theater, definitely worth a visit. This time I`ve been to the behind the scene tour with the "Gid s toboi" team. It was awesome, kids loved it, men loved it, women loved it. A very natural, smooth story combining details on history, everyday functioning and technical details of the famous opera. The tour guide answered all group`s dumb/tricky/fun/interesting questions. An absolute must do place. And the tour is highly recommended to the ones who have time and want to brighten up the regular theater visit.

We went to see a ballet show on a Saturday afternoon. It was a student's representation so we got the tickets quite cheap 90UHA, less than 3 euro. The seats were quite good and the show was lovely, but the thing I was the most excited about was seeing the Opera house on the inside. It is such a gorgeous building. I really recommend the experience, especially for that price. The normal representations were about 5 euro which ia also quite cheap.

Well I couldn't see a performance as we were still in lockdown but I managed to get escorted by a lovely lady around the theater. The atmosphere when empty is enthralling,it must be pure magic come performance night.I doubt that any show would disappoint for us visitors because the venue and event would carry it alone. You would expect to see an Illusionist like the character Ed Norton plays in the movie to be on show here along with the people of that era.

This is simply a stunning building. The outside is impressive, but inside is even better. Tickets are relatively inexpensive, bit of you just want to visit, you can do a guided tour for about 9eur for an hour. Most tours are in Ukrainian, but they do some in English. The Tank Monument, located near the Eternal Flame, is a tribute to the heroic efforts of the Soviet soldiers who fought and sacrificed their lives during World War II. The T-35/85 tank symbolizes their strength and bravery in defeating Nazi Germany and securing victory on May 9th, also known as Victory Day. It's quite an experience to visit Transnistria.
People usually visit countries of general interest, where nothing really surprises.
Well, neither does Transnistria for a communist-childhood guy like me. I mean, there's nothing I haven't seen, yet. But somehow it transposed me in the past when, realising how austere they prefer to live, instead of accepting prosperity. Especially now when nothing forces you any longer to accept communist governance. But it is a way to impress.
The city seems like almost uninhabited, and is anchored somewhere in the past. Some define it as "an open-air museum of communism".
I would say a disadvantaged region because of some people's stubbornness, but they hope for more. You know: hope dies last. One can never know.
Imposing, well-preserved 16th-c. Ottoman fortress with walkable ramparts & several museums.
This has been massively renovated the last 10 years and it is worth seeing the photos near the entrance to see the before and after. It is now shiny and new. You can walk outside grounds and gardens but to get into the fortress you pay 50 to get in. There is a few museums inside including a torture museum.
Robert Cooke — Google review
We liked this place and the surroundings, but haven't been inside. There's a gravel track around the fortress and at the end, there's a nice river. From here, the view is a beautiful one as well.
Thorsten Kuttig — Google review
Unlike Chisinau, where for the first time it felt like I was trying desperately to find something to take a picture of, Transnistria, with all its monuments seemed more interested in welcoming foreigners, which is logical, considering that this part of Moldawian territory tried to secede from the rest of Moldowa and identifies itself more with Russia. We had a tour guide who showed us some of the most important landmarks and monuments of Transnistria. Of course, this tour would not be complete without visiting Bender and its fortress in particular. Although they were almost ready to close, they still allowedus to enter. The only downside was that they did not have any English or German speaking tour guides and I could not speak any Russian at that time. Luckily, my travel companion was Russian, so I could still understand at least some of the insights the tour guide gave us.

Too bad a while back some guys built some industrial barracks on citadel's walls. Nice views from the walls. If not from Transnistria, a big tax for using their roads infrastructure and prepare to spend 1h at the border control.

What a wonderful fortress with a Baron von Munchhausen connection. Walls, towers, cannons, Moldavian militiamen practising their riot techniques, what more could you want? The fortress is in good condition and all the walls can be walked along safely.
Bilhorod-Dnister fortress is a 14th-century waterfront ruin that offers picturesque views and group tours. While it could use some reconstruction, the fortress is still in relatively good shape. Visitors can easily drive and park there, with various activities available such as shooting a bow and exploring small cafes and gift shops in the central courtyard. Families can spend hours walking around, enjoying the historical attractions dating back to Roman times.
Incredible place to explore and spend a few hours walking around. Lots of activities for families and interesting history. I would highly recommend a day trip to the castle and surrounding area if you are in Odessa. A++

Old and large fortress still in relatively good shape but could use some reconstruction.
A tour is not required as you can drive and park there easily yourself, just be mindful that with heavy traffic it can be a 1.5h-2h drive from Odessa
In the summer The central courtyard of the fortress has some small cafe's and little gift shops. Activities like shooting a bow are also available.

The former Turkish fortress Akkerman is one of the most remarkable and interesting fortresses in all of Ukraine. Despite old age, its towers, bastions and sections of walls are perfectly preserved. This historical place is worth a visit!

2.5 hours journey by autobus from Odessa, we go through Moldova, but totally worth it.
80uah tickets for entry and inside there are lots of archeological and architectural wonders to see along with some medivial artifacts and also you can practice your hands at archery. There is gorgeous view of the Black sea from the Akkerman fortress, if you are here do not forget to go back till you reach another door and visit the sea directly.
Must visit, I recommend this historic place !

Nice place with great view on the river. Easy to get from Odessa by train.
A modern wine-making factory & museum with tastings, guided cellar tours & outdoor sculptures.
Awesome place. Anastasia (the guide) successfully added the special atmosphere of the light wine spirit even before the degustation:) wines are worse to be tested. Highly recommended

You can have two hours experience starting from visiting all stages of the wine and cognac production process, through Szabo colony museum, includes two movies in specially designed halls and wine tasting at the end. It is impressive how much the company owners invested in sharing the history of the region. The guide is very knowledgeable and delivers excursions in English. The effect is spectacular and is probably the best promotion of Szabo brand for the visitors.

Thank you so much for sharing your excellent Ukrainian wines with us in Singapore!
This is a great place to hide from the noisy, busy city life. We found here, together with our children, a great deal of peace and quiet.
And wild horses in the backyard. Highly recommended!

Loved it! The owners were exceptionally warm and welcoming.
They provided great drinks (free of charge) and delicious food in the evening. There is also a well equipped kitchen if you want to cook your own meals. The spot we camped at was a little sandy which made it quite comfortable. Bikes and kayaks are also available for a good price.
Would certainly come back!

Great camping. Owner very talkative and welcoming, they also cook food there at the camping for anyone who doesn't wishes to go to a restaurant. We we're welcomed with fresh lemonade and some alcoholic beverages and also received some sturdy styrofoam type thing to put under our tents(for free). There is a kitchen (fully equipped), showers, usb ports, toilets and a fridge/freezer available. The price was 35 lei per a small 2 person tent per day. The beach it's a 10 min walk and the town itself maybe 15,20 min walk.

We went there to rent kayak. The owner of the place ( Pete) was extraordinarily helpful and kind. We kayaked down the river. Pete gave us a route that some of his guests already tried out.
The route was great. We took a bit longer than expected and he walked towards us to make sure that we are ok and helped us again pulling the boat out.
After we arrived we had another lovely chat with him and he asked us to write down our feedback, because for him it's important to have qualified recommendations for his guests.
And the hole area is beautifully quiet at night, it was very relaxed to sit and chat there in the evening.
All in all: I can recommend this place and this host to everybody, both for renting a kayak as well as sleeping there (he showed us the rooms, because we will send friends of ours to stay there).

A wonderful little place to stay. With connection to super friendly people from the region, if you want that. As well as the possibility to consume food and drinks from the owner. With a lot of love and willingness, informations getting shared, further routes are discussed and excursions are organised. The showers and toilets are clean and the kitchen offers you everything you need. Mulţumesc!

I spent 2 nights along with a french friend in this beautiful camping. We’ve been in a bicycle trip in Romania up to the bulgarian border . Everything was perfect, we’ve had a boat trip in Danube Delta , have eaten a great fish soup and we’ve been on the beach which it’s near . Thanks for all !

Very nice place and host! Close to the beach, clean toilet and shower, pet friendly <3. You have access to an outdoor kitchen (there is no need to bring plates and cutlery with you, you'll find them all here), fridge, USB charger. There is also a grill and cauldron to cook your catch after a good fishing day. Mina and I, we highly recommend this place!
Lakeside park with look-out tower to spot migrating birds like herons, pelicans & cormorants.
Great place for birdwatching. On the 1st of December we got 40 bird species, including 6 raptor species! Watchtower is very good located.

An estimated 255 species of birds visit Bird Paradise National Park at the edge of Kuş Gölü, the lake formerly known as Manyas Gölü. Loca ted on the great migratory paths between Europe and Asia, the park is a happy combination of plant cover, reedbeds and a lake that supports at least 20 species of fish. The park will delight amateur and professional birdwatchers alike, and a good field guide and some mosquito repellent will enhance the experience. At the entrance to the park, there is a small museum with displays about various birds. Binoculars are provided at the desk and visitors make their way to an observation tower. Two main groups of birds visit the lake: those that come here to breed (March–July), and those that pass by during migration, either heading south (November) or north (April–May). Among the birds that breed around the lake are the endangered Dalmatian pelican, the great crested grebe, cormorants, herons, bitterns and spoonbills. Over three million birds fly across the area on their migratory routes – storks, cranes, pelicans and birds of prey like sparrowhawks and spotted eagles. April and May are the best months to enjoy this area. Close to the main park area, there is a restaurant that serves fresh trout, and it is a good spot to break for lunch.

I was there 30 years ago. My memory was a huge wild forest. It is now looks like a mansion garden. It is possible to see some pelicans and other sea birds like flamingo. Or you can visit museum and check filled birds.

It's a nice place to visit. There is a birds museum but it's not very big, you can see only local birds there. You can also sit in the chair and watch birds online from cameras placed over the natural park. The thing I liked most is a possibility to watch birds. You can take binoculars for free and watch birds from the Birds watching tower.
Viktoriia Afsar — Google review
The national park is only about 20 minutes away from Bandirma but, the minibus station from which minibuses drive to the park is a little far from the city centre. There are minibus services to the park and back a few times during the day. The park itself is worth to see from my opinion as there are not many other places to visit in Bandirma. The park has a little museum in which you can find taxidermy birds common in the park. There is also a watch tower from where you can watch birds nesting, etc. You might borrow a pair of binoculars from the museum to see the birds in a better manner. The park is so quite and far from city noise pollution. So, it could be a unique experience for you particularly if you enjoy birdwatching. The villagers at the nearby village are also friendly and helpful.

I suppose it is the most famous tomp (there are a lot) in Gallipoli. Locals come here with a Turkish flag and attached the flag around the tomp and make a wish to hope that comes true with a prayer. If that wish comes true, they repeat the process. Whishes generally are child, wellness, house, car, etc. you name it.
