Very nice concept & museum is evolved around it . However I always wonder very nice creations by governments is getting worthless because of poor maintaining of place. What concern officials are doing, is there any audit process for such good places.
Sukumar shah — Google review
It is an average museum. It is maintained by Gujarat government. The building is pretty old and there is water leakage at a lot of places. There is a separate gents and ladies Washroom at the premises, by it is not at all maintained. Entry fees is very nominal, at Rs 5/- per Indian citizen. Fees for foreign citizens is Rs 50/- . For students visiting this museum the fees is only Rs 2/-. This museum specialises on three tribes local to this area, warli, bhil and kunbi. The ornaments, cooking appliances, musical instruments and their grain storage instruments are at display. Overall, a nice place to visit for any social anthropology student, average for rest.

Sunset Point, also known as Gandhi Shikhar, is a popular spot located near Saputara Museum. It offers stunning views of the sunset, Dang Forest, and nearby tribal villages. The best time to visit is from March to November. Visitors can reach the point in 10 minutes using the Ropeway or local transport. Nearby attractions include Vansda National Park and Saputara Museum.
Great Place For Viewing Sunset, I Went Through Rope Way From Table Land Point And Experience Was Amazing, There Are Shops There For Snacks, If U Are Going There Directly By Car Then U Have To Walk Around 1 K.m To Go There Best Way Is Go By Rope Way From Table Land Point.
Anas Jariwala — Google review
Sunset Point also known as governor hill, is the highest point in Saputara. It comes under Dang Forest in the Aravallis. Basically a table top area at the top, offer a spectacular view. You will find a lots of fun activity like beautiful flower double seat bicycle, bike riding, horse riding, camel ride etc. Also available Ropeway Facility.
The paragliding facility here and experience offers a scenic view of the landscapes around and is a perfect adventure activity for adrenaline-junkies. Enthusiasts are provided with a proper briefing session preparing them with the required skills and confidence for this amazing adventure!
Beautiful valley and sky filled with colorful hue in the evening.

Sunset Point in Saputara is a breathtaking destination that offers a truly unforgettable experience. As the name suggests, this spot is famous for the spectacular views of the sun setting over the Western Ghats, which creates a stunning display of colors across the sky.
The view from Sunset Point is simply breathtaking, with the surrounding hills and valleys bathed in golden light as the sun sets. Visitors can take in the scenery while relaxing on the benches provided, or opt for a more active experience by taking a short hike to the point.
What's great about Sunset Point is that it is easily accessible and offers something for everyone. Whether you're a nature lover, a photographer, or simply someone who appreciates stunning views, this spot is sure to leave you feeling awe-inspired.
Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Sunset Point in Saputara. It's a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to the area, and offers a truly unforgettable experience. Whether you're planning a romantic evening or a family outing, Sunset Point is sure to be a highlight of your trip.
Dr MohammadHanif Saiyed — Google review
As the name suggests, it is point to witness the beautiful moment of sun setting down. The shades of different colours appearing on the sky is mesmerizing. Also the aerial view of lake and the town visible from this point is awesome. There are two ways to reach the sunset point, one is through ropeway (which starts from Table point) and other one is by climbing up on the hill. It is almost close to 1 km strenuous climb, the vehicles are not allowed except for the bikes which are provided by the locals on chargeable basis (they charge Rs 100 one way). There are few stalls where water and food are available. For children, there are few recreational stuff such as RC cars, horse rides, etc. There is no entry charge if one decides to climb up while travel through ropeway is chargeable.
It is located on height and we can only go by a walk by hiking on the hill. It will take some time. The view is amazing from there.
Rock Buddy — Google review
Pls don't go there by rope way. Pls don't waste your time & money to come here as Govt Construction work is in progress at present. After reaching at the opposite end, there is restriction to go out. You will not be allowed to go till Sunset point. They are running rope way only to benefit few food stalls here. There is no point visiting here till the time construction is over. They should actually stop running rope way business tilln construction is over. Tourists are misguided.
If you want to visit sunset point, go by road till Toran Ambika hotel of Gujarat tourism. There is parking available at this place. From here you can go by walking to sunset point. But this is advised for those only who can walk on steep heel.
Jagdish Thadani — Google review
Beautiful place to visit and use Ropway to reach there.
Shahid Ahmad — Google review
If you reach there, it is amazing but first you have to reach there. There is a inclined climbing of atleast a km before you reach the top. BTW if you want to go to trolley, this is the same way. Cars are stopped below and then a inclined walk of almost a km to reach the top.
You can take a small self driven scooter for 100/- to reach the top and Rs.50/- if you want to come down on it.
It is a good point and worth to go. Be fit and save money.
Salim Kaydawala — Google review
The best view comes after the hardest climb.” “Stop staring at mountains. Climb them instead, yes, it's a harder process but it will lead you to a better view.”really it is very calm place that you can come for meditation

The Sunset Point is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Saputara, offering a breathtaking view of the sun setting behind the lush green hills. The point is located at an altitude of approximately 1220 meters above sea level and offers a panoramic view of the Dang forest and the winding roads that lead to the hill station.
The best time to visit Sunset Point is during the late afternoon when the sun is about to set. The view of the orange sun setting behind the hills is truly spectacular and is sure to leave you mesmerized. The serene atmosphere and cool breeze make it a perfect place to unwind and relax after a long day of sightseeing.
There are a few small shops and vendors selling snacks and beverages near the Sunset Point, so you can enjoy some refreshments while taking in the view. Additionally, there are a few benches and seating areas where you can sit and enjoy the view at your leisure.
Overall, the Sunset Point in Saputara is a must-visit attraction for anyone traveling to this beautiful hill station. The stunning view of the sunset and the tranquil surroundings make it a perfect place to unwind and relax in the midst of nature.

Very good view for sunset. You can opt for ropeway or you have to climb from parking.I personally recommend that if you are young and capable climb the way as there are very good view in the way too. Also the inclination of road is more so it will be fun and challenging. I went in November so as per time I started from 5pm and was the best time, you can advise your time according to season

Could reach there only after the sunset. Even at that time, the view was really good. You have to cover around 1 km by foot to reach the top. There is provision for bike rental which costs around 150 to and fro. Construction work was going on when I went.

Saputara Lake is a serene man-made reservoir that offers plenty of opportunities for recreation, including boating and relaxing in tree-shaded areas. The lake is surrounded by picturesque landscapes and provides a clean environment for visitors to enjoy. There are several food stalls nearby where one can grab a quick meal or snack, as well as hotels in close proximity to the lake.
🌄 Lake + Garden + Boating ⛵
✨ Saputara Lake is the perfect destination for quality family time during the monsoon 🌧️. It's enveloped by lush trees 🌳, and both the lake and garden are well-maintained 🍃. Boating 🚣 is also an option here at a reasonable price, and I highly recommend trying it out. Enjoy a memorable day surrounded by nature at this lovely spot! 🤗
🌄 At sunset, the atmosphere becomes truly enchanting ✨, and you'll find the lake view to be particularly captivating. It's a great time to enjoy the scenic beauty of the place. 🌌

Saputara Lake is the heart of Saputara. Mainly Pedal boats are there, and normal boats are also available. We took the pedal boat as they were in a better condition.
Timing is from 8am to 7pm
I will suggest visiting the lake in the morning (if u have a single day trip) to avoid the harsh sun. During the evening we mostly visit to see the sunset so it will not be manageable, better to go in morning itself.
But if u have 2 evenings then go boating on 1st evening as Lake during evening is mesmerizing!
Charges are fixed around 100 per head
There are many small shops for refreshments around boating ticket counter where you can try lemon soda, tea etc. Kids games and entertainment is available over here.
(2 seater decorated cycle for adults is preferable to ride here as compared to table point, since the road is plain in Boating club area.)

Sula Vineyards is nice when visited during monsoons or winters. They have open as well as covered parking. The entry fee for weekends is Rs 1000 per adult. No entry fee for children at least upto age of 13. The fee is a cover charge and can be used to buy food and wine inside. They have a nice path to take a walk around to see the place and click a lots of pictures however if you are visiting with a toddler, I recommend you get your stroller along. They have a golf cart or buggy but that is only for the ones who are staying at their hotel. The tour was okay as all that was showed to us was the storage containers and a lot of theory. We enjoyed the wine tasting but if you are a bigger group then I would suggest that you skip it and enjoy the wine on their terrace restaurant using your coupons at your own pace. Food here is not great. I had their pizzas and cheese platter. Cheese platter being the worst. They have other restaurant too. Overall a scenic place, not much to offer than tasty wines.

The resort is beautifully done and upgraded over the years with spacious rooms tastefully done. The staff is very cordial and attentive to the needs of guests. The package includes wine tasting and visit to their brewery which made an interesting trip to understand wine culture which is gaining popularity in India too. The food in their restaurants is delicious and breakfast spread is decent. The pool and outdoor seating during evenings is very relaxing and entertaining particularly as they had musical artists performing melodiously and was spellbinding with a variety of choice of wines and barbeques. A great place to enjoy and relax with family or friends or even couples wanting to enjoy the peace and calm. Will certainly recommend a stay !! Winter months are more preferable to stay

There is a restaurant where you can have food as well.

During my visit to Sula Vineyards last year, I had the pleasure of experiencing the renowned number one vineyard of Nashik. One of the highlights was trying their Zinfandel Rose wine, which was truly mouthwatering. The wine had an amazing taste that was both refreshing and flavorful, leaving a lasting impression. The vineyard's commitment to producing exceptional wines was evident in every sip.
Aside from the exquisite wine, the view from the top restaurant was truly heartwarming. The picturesque surroundings added to the overall ambiance, creating a serene and enjoyable atmosphere. Whether you're a wine enthusiast or simply seeking a memorable culinary experience, Sula Vineyards offers a perfect blend of stunning views and delectable wines.
From the vineyard's top-notch hospitality to the breathtaking scenery, my visit to Sula Vineyards was nothing short of remarkable. I highly recommend visiting this vineyard for an unforgettable journey into the world of wine, accompanied by breathtaking vistas that will capture your heart.

Located beyond the midc area at Nashik. Nice cool place with ample green lush. You can tour the process of wine making. The restaurant is good. Good place for photography. The entry charges during weekend is Rs.1000/-, which seems to be high. Other days it is Rs. 600 per head. However, they issue coupon for said amount which can be redeemed for purchase of wine, gift articles, food etc. Overall a nice place to visit.

A really nice place to come and visit if you are a wine lover. I would suggest visiting this place during the cooler months of November to January.
Post Jan if you go to this place that opens only after 11:30 the sun is so hot that it is difficult to explore the outdoor settings and the vineyards that you can otherwise.
The tour of the factory and the wine tasting are absolutely worth every penny that you spend and they are very educational as well.
There is ample amount of parking available here but the shaded parking is only for guests who are staying at their property.
For those only visiting the property you have to park in the hot sun, so be prepared to get into a car that is like an oven once you are back from the vineyards.
Overall it is a good one time visit if you are in Nashik.
Adrian Rodrigues — Google review
Very beautiful place for a day outing. Right from entering the place looks amazing. Completely neat and clean. The restaurant is good, but little expensive. All the wines are sold at MRP, I think if they are prepared there, there should be some discount so that people can buy. Most of the people buys just to cover the charges they have paid at the entrance.
There are cover charges which you need to pay at the time of entry.
Weekdays-600 per person
Weekends-1000 per person
Huge parking space is available which is not chargeable.
Overall nice place to visit with family/gang to have fun and click beautiful pictures.

What an amazing time we had at Sula !!! To see and learn the process of wine making and sampling the varieties was truly a wonderful experience and educational. The vineyard in itself is a beautiful space nestled in a scenic landscape just outside the city of Nashik. With luxury rooms, restaurants, gift shops, and a tasting room to try different wines, Sula Valley is the perfect place for a weekend getaway.

Sula wine is often hailed as a must-visit destination, but in my opinion, it falls short of the hype. Their entry fees alone are exorbitant, demanding at least Rs 600 on weekdays and Rs 1000 on weekends, with no exceptions. Although they provide coupons equivalent to the entry fee, the overall cost is still staggering. Paying such a hefty sum for a mere 60 ml wine tasting feels unjustifiable, especially considering the underwhelming quality of their wines. On a positive note, the place boasts picturesque decorations that are sure to entice your camera lens. However, it's worth noting that they charge more than the MRP on their wine bottles. In our case, we ended up paying Rs 1110 instead of the listed Rs 1039 for a single bottle.
Sahil Shaikh — Google review
Great place to hang out, it close from Nashik about 15 minutes drive, entry is around ₹800 per person and the amount can be redeemed inside the restaurant and bar, though the food is costly and food quality is great. Great place to explore on Weekend with family and friends

What a awesome place to visit. You can have some nice pictures clicked here and can check the wine yard.
The cover charges are 1k per person and the charges for tour of wineyard where they will explain you the process of production of wines and tasting 6 wines is 600 bucks.
But the place is really good specially enjoying the long drive to visit here and an excellent weather will make your mood to love this place 😍

Vineyard with Stunning Views but Uneven Offerings
This winery boasts breathtaking views of vineyards, perfect for a sunny winter day. The entry fee is 600 (adjustable) towards food and shopping, and the staff is helpful with selecting gifts. However, the restaurant's trendy ambiance doesn't quite match the quality of the food, which is average and overpriced. Consider grabbing a bite elsewhere to fully enjoy this scenic spot.
Durgesh Singh — Google review
It is just fine. It is better for only wine lovers or those who wish to try wine for the first time. It costs 1000 per head of which you compulsorily need to spend 600 only on wine. A few incharges at the entry gate were arrogant. The place is only picturesque and nothing much. You can have a tour of the factory and the process of wine making. The food is good taste-wise but otherwise the prices were steep.

Awesome place to enjoy with friends and family, they have a beautiful setup done to attract people. The decor of the place is quite lively and refreshing. You can also enjoy the tour of their brewery and enjoy a selection of 6 wines after the tour in their wine tasting. They have a restaurant on the first floor which has a good assortment of food to compliment their wine.the food might seem a little overpriced but overall it is a good place to enjoy and relax with your family.

Sula Vines is a paradise for wine aficionados. The comprehensive tour elucidates the wine-making process, culminating in a delightful tasting session. With a souvenir shop and wine store on-site, it's a perfect opportunity to bring home memories and bottles of your favorite wine. Ample parking adds to the convenience.

Do not visit on weekends they charge ₹1000 per person. The place is very aesthetically pleasing and insta-worthy. But Not worth it for non-alcoholic people.
They give you two types of coupons which you can spend on wine, tour&tasting, gift shop and Food in the vineyard itself.
However we can only buy wine with 1 type of coupon which makes it compulsory to buy wine to make our money worth it.
The other coupon is insufficient because it's applicable on almost everything including food.

An excellent place to enjoy a sunny winter day. entry charges were 600/- which were later adjusted in food and shopping. they helped us select some good varieties for gifting. restaurant has a very trendy vibe and decor. food was not so delicious and overprized too. the view of surrounding vineyards was amazing.

This place is good for spending some time if in Nashik.
We went in morning around 11ish and it was already crowded.
They have various photo booths and points where good pictures can be taken.
Entry fees is 600/- per person on weekdays and 1000/- on weekends and they can be used in the restaurants inside.
You can pay for winery tour also where they show how wines are made and wine tasting too.
The restaurant has really good trendy vibes but is certainly overpriced and the stuff isn’t that good.
They have in campus hotel to stay called the Source.
Overall one time visit place

The Shri Kalaram Sansthan Mandir Vedic Puja Spiritual center is a 19th-century Hindu temple in Panchavati, Nashik dedicated to Lord Rama. The temple features intricate statues and arches and is believed to be the place where the deity spent his 14 years of exile. The black statues of Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, and Lakshman are housed within its walls.
This is one of a kind the murti of l Rama which I have seen which is black in colour. The temple is beautiful and made in black sand stone..
There are some renovations going on in the temple but it does not effect the travellers.
A must visit place when you are in Nashik. Kalaram Temple entry movement formed a pivotal role in the Dalit movement in India. B. K (Dadasaheb) Gaikwad and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar led a protest outside the temple on 2 March 1930, in order to allowing Dalits into the temple. The movement was to have a right to enter temple, it was more towards having equal rights.

🌟 Loved my visit to Kala Ram Mandir in Nashik during Diwali! This ancient temple in Panchavati, by the Godavari river, is super special. It's like a cozy, peaceful spot away from the usual hustle.
During Diwali, the temple was all lit up and looked so pretty. The whole vibe was like a warm hug. It was a chill break from the usual busy scene.
What's cool is how this place brings people together. Lots of folks visit, and you can feel the good vibes. It's not just a temple; it's like a cool hangout for your spirit. If you're ever in Nashik, especially during a festival, give it a go

This is a beautiful temple near Sita Gufa in the Panchavati area of Nashik.
Here Ram Lalla's idol is black similar to the Ayodhya one.
The history of this temple is old. Sardar Rangrao Odhekar during 17th century once had a dream that Ram Lalla's black idol is submerged somewhere in Godavari River. He started a search mission and fortunately found the idol and that's how this modern day temple was built around 1790's.
The ambience around the temple is serene and vibes are very positive.

Kalaram Mandir is a splendid testament to devotion and architectural mastery. The meticulous detailing on the temple walls and pillars is awe-inspiring, reflecting the rich heritage of the Maratha Dynasty. It's evident that every corner of the temple has been crafted with utmost care and devotion.

Built by the illustrious Maratha Dynasty King Bajirao Peshwa in the 17th Century, it stands as a symbol of his deep reverence for Lord Sri Rama. Kalaram Mandir stands not only as a testament to architectural brilliance but also as a symbol of resilience and social justice. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's satyagraha for the rights of untouchable people to worship at the temple adds another layer of significance to its historical narrative.

His courageous act of nonviolent resistance aimed to break down barriers of caste prejudice and ensure equal rights for all individuals, regardless of their social status.
Despite facing vehement opposition and hostility from entrenched societal norms, Dr. Ambedkar remained steadfast in his conviction and commitment to justice. His satyagraha at Kalaram Mandir echoed the principles of Mahatma Gandhi's nonviolent resistance, resonating with the spirit of the Indian freedom movement.
Dr. Ambedkar's satyagraha ultimately paved the way for significant reforms, contributing to the broader struggle against caste discrimination and inequality in India. I recently visited the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling Temple in Nashik, Maharashtra, India and it was an incredible experience! The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India.🙏
In Every Jotirlinga you will see only Lord Mahadev but at this place you will see Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh in One temple and in One linga. Such a peaceful place.🌄🛕
The temple is located in a scenic area surrounded by hills and a river, adding to its beauty. You can go with donation queue by paying ₹200 but in this line too you will get a little bit time for darshan rather than general queue.👥👥
The origin of Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga dates back to ancient times. It is believed that the temple was built by the Pandavas during the Mahabharata era. According to Hindu mythology, the Godavari River originates from the Brahmagiri Mountains, and Lord Shiva himself resides in the form of Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga at the source of the river. The temple has undergone several renovations and restorations over the years.
It's definitely a must-visit if you're in Maharashtra and looking for a spiritual and cultural experience! 🙏🏼✨

Almost drive of 40 min from Nasik , beautiful highway with good eating places all the way. this temple is situated in the foothills of Brahmagiri hills and it is said that river Godavari originates from here. Very old structure made up of stones and carved intricate sculptures. To have darshan of Linga, mirrors are placed above it on the back of wall to enable devotees to see deity. Thjis temple is always heavily crowded by devotees and you need to stand in queue for long time or you buy VIP pass for Rs 200/- per person to bypass queue. then also you need to wait for almost an hour. You need to Bribe pandits if you wish to perform puja or have clear darshan. Inside also the behave of pandits and caretakers behave is very disappointing as they are rude and keep pushing you. Need to be managed in befitting way. Outside the temple is big market selling all type of items. But the area is not very well maintained. Parking is available but you need to park at some distance and walk almost a KM. local area is very dirty and not pleasing to eyes, as it is famous religious place and historical temple. But you feel divine after visiting this place.

As famous, it is one of 12 jyotirling ! Had started early reached just before 7 am. Had taken donation passes and took 45 min. But other line seem to be good 2- 3 hrs. Worth the wait and patience! Blessed with Darshan.

We visited on the weekend so obviously there was too much rush. So we decided to stay overnight and got up early in the morning. Though the queue was long, we got the darshan in half hour.
The darshan experience was divine. The temple has historical importance.
There are ample of stay options near and around the temple. We got affordable option of rs 650/-for a night. Do carry your id cards for stay in a nice place.
There are many varieties of food eateries on the street too and nice restaurants too.
The streets are filled with multiple and affordable shopping options. We need to bargain a bit to get the best price.
Only issue we faced was of mosquitoes. So do carry Odmos Or any other mosquito repellent with you to avoid the mosquito bites. Hope the local authorities look in the matter of cleaning the streets too!!

One of the twelve jyotirlings of Lord Shiva.
A very well maintained, ancient temple complex with multiple entry gates.
One needs to wait in line for darshan, but it is worthwhile as there is a huge mirror above Shivlingam so that everyone can do a proper darshan.
There are many eating places and souvenir shops nearby.

hat is your experience at Darshan in the Trimbakeshwar Temple?
What is perfect way to visit a Shiva temple and approach the shivling (the technicalities, plase dont say bhakti, etc, that's obvious) as per the scriptures (what to wear, what mantras to chant, order of deities to be worshipped, etc)?
I hear you.
There are, certainly, rules or factors that are dear to God and compatible with the Shiva Puja, especially those that are ritualistic and done in temples or in one’s puja. my answer is going to be long and comprehensive, but please go through it, so, that I can provide all the necessary information and points.
You can do anything in Bhakti, where no rituals are being followed. But no temple visit or ritual worship is exempt from ideal and expected conduct.
Before entering the temple, keep yourself bodily and mentally pure. Head bath and clean clothing. You better not have eaten any profane food at least one or two days before, like meat, intoxicants like alcohol etc. But being on Satwika Bhojana always is best. (Brahmacharya is good too, but optional, be as Satwika/pious in body and mind as possible)
White colour / Subhra Barna/ शुभ्र बर्ण is dear to Mahadeva. So, white clothing and offering of white flowers is good. Dress in ethnic wear if you can, like dhoti or saree. First, offer Namaskara to Nandi Deva with some Bilwa Patra and flowers. State your desire and respect for him and Shiva in his ears.
Strike the bell or Mandira Ghanti. It is like calling bell or doorbell of his house :-)
After bowing down, offer the first prayer to Lord Ganesha. Because Mahadeva has given him the Prathama Pujya (First to be worshipped before any Puja) power. He will take away any hurdles to your worship and make your prayers or intentions successful.

I assume you know the meaning of the mantra, if not, put in comments if you do want me to add the meaning. Knowing correct pronunciation as well as the meaning of the Mantra is necessary.
Then proceed first to offer your prayer devotion to Shiva, then Parvati, then both of them together. Start with a Shiva Dhyana Mantra. It does the ice breaking and connecting part.

An Excellent Weekend Getaway if you are in and around Nashik. A series of caves neatly maintained by archeological department of India. The approach path to the steps is made of Steps, So easy to reach and get down. Understood there is a seperate way for trekkers too if you wish too. Ask for guidance once you reach. Mighty Caves with a scenic beauty. City views from the caves is a beauty to watch, but it's all new concrete jungle all around. Carry Water as you would not get one there.

It is very good place..there are 250-300 steps to climb but they are not very difficult..you can easily take rests in between..
Also the view from top is very serene..it is definitely worth the climb..we went in middle of monsoon so it is advised to climb very carefully..
We encountered a person who had a fall in one of the caves and broke his thigh..
The ticket is only 25 rs and definitely nice place the carvings takes u back to the ancient times and it makes u feel proud about ancient India..

The pandavleni caves are a prime attraction of tourists even foreigners. These are the caves where Pandavs held shelter during their vanvas in the age of Mahabharata. There are around 20 caves here. They have inscriptions on caves. Also there are ancient made sculptures in them. It is a proof of our divine and great history.
Tushar Patil — Google review
The caves, known as Trirashmi Buddhist Caves (erroneously known as Pandav Caves) were carved out from the 1st century BCE until the 3rd century CE, with later additions of sculptures.[5] They were paid for by local Buddhist royalty, merchants and local people for the Buddhist monks. The name is derived from the word "Tiranhu" which is inscribed in the Caves.[6][7] It means "rays of sunlight" which is quite obvious referring to the rays of sunlight emerging from behind the Caves as seen from the village. These caves were carved and donated by various kings that ruled Nashik - The Satavahanas, The Nahapanas, The Abhirs. The caves lodge idols of Buddha and Bodhisattva. Some caves are intricately connected by stone-cut ladders that join them to the other caves. Steps lead to the caves from the bottom of the hill. The peak of the Trirashmi Caves is also accessible by trekking of about 20 mins but the path is well built with steps.[8]

Excellent collection of natural stones. Entry fee Rs. 100 and you get a guide free. Well maintained and applaudable as it is a single person's private collection. Worth visiting! If you are fond of nature, it is like discovering wonders of nature that are hidden under the ground. Even if stones don't attract you, the colours will definitely amaze you. Takes about an hour to see the collection spread out beautifully on two floors. There's a shop too where you can buy stone jewellery, decor, idols, and raw stones.

It's one of unique museums in the country. It's the only gem, mineral and fossil museum and the biggest in the world by an individual privately. It's a wonderful place for the subject experts and students in the related field. It's organized in a wonderful way, maintained beautifully and asthetically in the best manner. Of course, it's visited by many but I have doubts, whether people from other areas of Maharashtra and other states are visiting it. This place needs to be visited to know the beauty of earth and geographic wonders for the laypersons as well for the geology students. Staff is knowledgeable and cooperative to give all the information.

* Well curated & preserved collection of numerous minerals, rare metals, fossils and other things. A must visit place for families, friends while visiting Nashik.
* The guide was well Trained and had a lot of knowledge about the minerals but he kept standing too close to us and it was deliberate. He made us uncomfortable with his behavior. This made our overall experience very bad even though we liked the collection very much. Management should take some action against him.

One of its kinds of mineral musium. They have a very good collection of minerals, most of them are becoming rare today because of different techniques used in mining and construction. Entry fee is Rs 100 per head but they provide a free guide to explain to you about the collection. They also have a gift shop where you can buy genuine stores and handicraft items. The toilet was reasonably cleaned. If you are going to Nasik from Pune, have a couple of hours to spare then would recommend to try visiting this.

If you want to learn geology and rock formations, it is really good. Their collection is amazing.
Rocks from moon and Mars is inspiring to see in India.
Pyrite iron ore and fossils of Indian dynasour is mind boggling.
But I think the guide needs to slow down. In order to complete it in one hour (I don't know why the hurry) he was rambling words and he himself was not able to understand or answer questions.
They need to explain some words either in charts or video format so that students can take notes and also remember things.

Guests can also purchase wine bottles of their choice before departing from this must-visit destination. A wine tour followed by a delicious lunch at the hotel is highly recommended for an overall outstanding experience at Vallonne Vineyards Pvt. Ltd.
We stayed at the vineyard for 3 days and had an amazing experience! After having travelled for 3 weeks in India, it was the perfect place to relax. The vineyard is in a beautiful area, full of nature and lakes. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff was very attentive and really going the extra mile. Food in the restaurant is very good. A wine tasting was included in the booking, and we were impressed by the quality of the wines and the knowledge of vineyard staff! All in all, I would definitely recommend this place!

Good food, great outdoor seating. One major problem was that there were lot of flies in and around us (where we were sitting outdoors) and these were also hovering around our food. When we asked the staff to do something about it, we were sent a glass of mint leaves to our table which apparently was supposed to care of the flies problem, but sadly didn't work much.
All they need to do is get a good size fly killing machine and install it outdoors... this will be the end to the flies problem which overall made the entire food experience, I must say Disgusting...

The wine at Valonne Vineyards is simply outstanding. Every sip was a delight to the palate, showcasing the craftsmanship and dedication of the winemakers. From robust reds to crisp whites, their selection catered to a variety of tastes and preferences. It's a paradise for wine enthusiasts.
The food served at Valonne Vineyards perfectly complemented the wine. The flavors were exquisite, and the dishes were expertly prepared. Whether you're looking for small bites to pair with your wine or a full dining experience, the menu offers a satisfying range of options.
Located in a remote but charming setting, Valonne Vineyards provides a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The presence of a nearby lake adds to the enchantment, creating a picturesque backdrop that enhances the overall ambiance. It's the ideal place to unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
What truly sets Valonne Vineyards apart is its exceptional staff. The service was warm, attentive, and friendly, making me feel genuinely welcomed throughout my visit. Nizam, the host, deserves special recognition for his hospitality and knowledge. He went above and beyond to ensure that every guest had a remarkable experience.

The most horrible last 2 kms of road, literally swimming pools to cross, the most weird part to me is that being the home to the brand they don't offer wine by the glass. The food is too expensive for it to be a quick thing. The place small and bland to say the least. The wines itself are really good but then you'd be better off buying a bottle from a store and going to a better, more accessible and happening place

The place has two paths to access it, one is the scenic route and another through the highway.
Tucked in a cozy estate with a very pleasant view. Food is over priced for what is available. I say this because the items are lacking some ingredients that are hard to get where they are located but they improvise anyways.
The wines are real tasty, the prices of the wine are above MRP but they let you buy them at MRP or with a discount if you are taking multiple home.
A nice little bonus was that i saw a guava tree full of guavas in the estate and I helped myself to one. It was delicious 😋

We had a special dinner meet to celebrate my family member’s birthday and Mahesh made it very very special. Well curated wines mostly dry is their signature collection. We had an engaging conversation with wine taster Prabhakar Kale who too us thru the process of their wine making.
Malaka Spice is the restaurant where we spent the evening. The deck overlooking the water body, Valley plus the sundowning is a moment to treasure with a Chardonnay glass in hand. We had our golden moments and thrilled at this amazing discovery. Great pics to share with and here we go!

The vintners are passionate and proud about the wines they produce there. They took ample time to explain, answer questions and provide recommendations.
The food at the restaurant was delish too. We sipped some cab sauv with the food and then bought a half dozen bottles to take back. This was my first trip to a winery in India so can’t compare but will definitely be back to this one in the future.

If you are a wine lover and a frequent visiter to different famous vineyards around nashik like Sula or Soma then you must visit this place for an amzing experience. The USP of this place is its fantabulous location unlike other vineyards. It is located on the slopes of the banks of Kavnai lake. You get an awesome view of the dam water and the Kavnai fort range along with the grape plantations on the slopes. They have a nice gallery to enjoy some nice wines with extraordinary food menu along with the view. They have a limited choice of wines but all of them are exotic. And food is something that you should visit this place for.

Visit if you want to try the best Indian wine, and understand the difference between a real boutique winery & the more mass produced wines.

It's one of the underrated Vineyards I'd say.
1. Wine - amazing wine, reasonable price, we tried to varieties of white wine, loved them. Would've loved more if they had sparkling wine too which they don't.
2. Food. Overpriced but great in taste, quantity is decent. We tried 4 dishes, two starters, one noodles and one rice.
3. Ambience - the view is lovely. You get to wine and dine with a lake view and mountains. Even though they have limited seatings
4. Service - amazing service, on time and we'll catered for.
5. Location- outskirts of Nashik, the roads are fine except for last 1 KM stretch.

This humble mosque and pilgrimage site was once the home of the revered religious leader, and it continues to draw crowds seeking blessings and fulfillment of their wishes. The temple's atmosphere brims with divine happiness that visitors can feel as they step inside. Dwarkamai houses a rock that Sai Baba used to sit on, making it an important part of his legend.

It was a mosque named by a Hindu Name "Dwarakamai" by Saibaba where Saibaba used to stay. It is a symbol of Hindu Muslim Unity. Saibaba used to spend some time here in their daily routine. They also enlightened a dhuni (a kind of bonfire) which is burning till today. The ashes of this dhuni known as udi is given to devotees as Saibaba's Prasad which he also used to give to his believers then. Some accessories of daily use of Saibaba are kept here. A stone on which he used to sit is also placed here.

Really peaceful place. It is easily accessible by all forms of transport. Best day to visit is Thursday but it will be really crowded. You will have to wait in queue for maybe 2 hours.
Very well manage..
Good experience.

SaiBaba's Dhuni is here! The same Dhuni started by Sai Baba is burning here from 183 years approximately. It's a nice experience to see the place where all the miracles (mentioned in Sai Satcharita and Sai leela magazines) took place first hand.
The only draw back is that Dhuni is fully enclosed in steel mesh and we need to struggle to see the embers.

Dwarkamai is the most important place to see by every devotee. In the entrance left side we saw the sai baba cooking place and sai baba's hand resting place on the wall. We observe that 3 feet of one wooden stick of sai baba.
After that we saw the dhuni covered with grills. In the past we touched and some grains were put in the dhuni but we con't touch it.
We saw all the items of sai baba used. Please observe the deepam holes on the wall of dwarkmai. Sai baba lights the lamps with water when no one gives the oil that night.
At last we saw the sai baba sitting stone covered with glass We touched it on the glass and pray for peace of mind.

Dwarkamai :
Dwarkamai is a place where Sai Baba lived until the very end of his life. Before Sai Baba’s arrival in Shirdi, this place used to be a mosque in poor conditions. Later, Sai turned it into Dwarkamai where he started healing, curing ill people. He solved all their problems and helped them with solutions to their worries.
Here at Dwarkamai, there are two levels. Level one has two rooms with Sai’s portrait and a huge rock on which he used to sit. While level two has a square shaped stool made of stone, which Sai is believed to have used for bathing. The highlight of Dwarkamai is an oil painting of Sai Baba in which he is sitting on a wooden carved shrine.
Location: Pimpalwadi Road, Rahata, Near Samadhi Mandir.
Timings: Monday to Sunday - 5:30 am to 9:45 pm.

Dwarkamai is one of the treasures of Shirdi for the devotees. They say that Dwarkamai is the heart of Shirdi, the place where the great Sai Baba spent a significant part of his life including his last moments. It is a treasure to all of Baba's devotees because it was the home of, as they like to call him, God on Earth. People of all faiths look up to the great Sai Baba and truly believe in what he preached. The spirit of tolerance, acceptance and welcome is very much alive here.

We had reached the temple in early morning. That date was 26/12/2021.
It was very cold environment on that day.
First we searched for washrooms for taking baths and brushes, etc.
After that we get into the row of entry in temple.
That was too much long line for darshan
We reached at entry point but we didn't took entry pass, so guards removed us from this row.
After that we decided to took Mukh Darshan of Sai Mandir....
Mukh Darshan is an another entry into temple less row.
But from mukh darshan you are not Able to see Statue of Sai Baba from near.
We tooked darshan from a distance and purchased some prasad for home.
That was an interesting thing happened with us.
I really enjoyed it.

Visitor's are advised to check entry gates, due to many modifications at the entry level, old entry gates are closed.
Free food service is working.
It was a great experience with new entry gates. We can book darshan/arti/pooja tickets as per need.

My visit to Sai Shirdi was a captivating experience. The beautifully developed architecture, extensive premises, and comprehensive facilities, including a museum and abundant information about Sai Baba, make it a worthwhile visit. What impressed me most was the seamless layout allowing a full exploration in one visit, enhanced by the no-phone policy fostering a deeper, distraction-free spiritual experience. Overall, Sai Shirdi is a must-visit destination for its blend of architectural beauty and spiritual richness.

Darshan costs INR 200, while the morning aarti, known as the Kakada aarti, costs INR 600. The charge for the midday, evening, and night aarti sessions is INR 400. All devotees have access to both free and paid darshan. Darshan booking is now possible online. Devotees can purchase Seva Tickets at the Temple Counter or online. Thursday is considered the Baba's day and is the busiest, from morning to dusk.
The temple has organised the Q system well , and takes very minimal time to do darshana. Temple premises are kept clean and neat. They also have "Prasadalaya" which is walkable distance from the temple , They have a website for more information and to book different services offered by the temple. I'm falling short of words to admire Sai Baba inside the temple, i would recommend you to opt for one of their baba Aarti services from the website.

However during this trip was harassed by lot of beggar's some of them were high on alcohol - drugs and some begging in spite of having no disability. The security was missing and they were probably hand in glove with these elements. Unfortunately this is a government run institution and it would probably not change even if i put this review.

My only concern for which i am posting this review is with regard to the BLOOD DONATION .I had donated My blood this morning looking at the free VIP entry mentioned for blood donars . After getting my blood donation certificate i straight went to gate 02 for vip entry , upon reaching the gaurd said there is no entry from here , you need to go to gate 06 which is a paid darshan gate. Its really disappointing and misleading where on the banner it mentioned FREE VIP ENTRY and the donars are routed to gate 06 .I was on empty stomach and wanted to skip the long queue after the blood donation . Appreciate and request to change the term FREE VIP ENTRY for FREE PAID DARSHAN against BLOOD DONATION . With SAI BABA'S blessings i was able to get through the queue and get his darshan .

Nagar-Manmad Highway near Sai Complex Shirdi Tal. Rahata, Shirdi, Maharashtra 423109, India
1,646-m. summit, the highest in Maharashtra, with popular overnight treks & a temple at the top.
10 years ago you would only find trekking enthusiast, hiking on Kalsubai. But things have changed now. It's more of a picnic spot now. You can expect huge crowds on weekends and bank holidays. People normally plan to camp at the base village and trek to the summit to witness the Sunrise. The downside is you would find plastic (in the form of wrappers, bags, nowadays even masks) at every step of your trek. Quite a sorry state. The 5-star is for the location and no doubt it's amazing as are the other places in the Sahayadri Mountains. Check the pics to get an idea of how the terrain is going to be. There are multiple routes to get to the top, bt the most common one starts from village Bari. Not too sure about the public transport, but if you are getting your own vehicle, there is ample PAID parking in the village. Also you can easily find places serving home cooked food.

कळसूआई । कळसूबाई 🛕महाराष्ट्रातिल सर्वात ऊंच शिखर 🚩 This is been one of bucket list for most of tge trekkers in Maharashtra & across. We have been to Kalsubai trek this winter season for night trek & let me tell you it was a breathtaking experience of lifetime.
Trek starts from base village named as Baari where you can park your vehicles & I would recommend if you are startingat night then please do take local guide with you. During Normal Day time it is manageable. Peak Height is almost 1646 meters from sea level.
Food m/snacks options are available on the way while trekking still its recommended to carry your own essentials as those helpful.
Great sight once you reach at top where you can see AMK, Ratangad fort etc. Sunrise 🌅 from the top is icing on the cake 😊
Lastly please keep area & surrounding neat & clean as it’s each one of us priority🙏🏻

Kalsubai Peak Maharashtra: Kalsubai Peak trek is a very enthralling experience to have fun while trekking and enjoy the enormous landscape view very closely. We started trek 4:30 AM in the morning and reached at the time of sunrise. This trek is coming in moderate level, at an altitude of 1646m /5400 feet without any other connectivity. Recommended time of this trek is raining or winter. Sharing few pictures...

The mother of all Treks .Best time to be at top is between 6 A.M to 7 A.M where you can view scenic sunrise(October to Jan best months to visit). So if you are visiting here prefer a night trek
Steep elevation at some patches but what I think is a person who is engaged in moderate day to day Physical activity can scale the peak easily .Water ,Fruits and other stuff are available while trekking as there are small shops between trails

it was a great fun. Moderate difficult level trek. It takes up to 3 to 4 hour depends on your capability. You can climb up in early morning to watch sunrise. You can stay there near to peak. You can rent a tent from local villagers they also provide you a mat. Wear warm cloths if you are visiting in winter because there can be around 9 degree Celsius on top. Trekking shoes recommended.

The Kalsubai Peak trek offered a mesmerizing experience, especially with the thick fog enveloping the surroundings. Navigating through the mist added an adventurous touch, creating an ethereal atmosphere. The sunrise atop Kalsubai was a breathtaking spectacle, as the sun's rays gradually pierced through the fog, unveiling the stunning landscape below. A foggy trek that culminated in a sunrise view made it a truly memorable and picturesque adventure.

Highest Peak of Maharashtra. We can also call it as mount everest of Maharashtra. The trek is little difficult and it takes around 4 hours to reach the peak. U can also get snacks and drinks during the trek as there are small shops. Best time to start the trek is early morning as you can enjoy the sun rise and while the sun is up at your head you will be reaching the bottom base again.

The trek is very adventurous. One side distance is around 6-7km. There are steel ladders in between the trek. During monsoon it is very slippery. The peak will be very cold during monsoon and it will be very windy. You must carry a raincoat. There is greenery all around. It usually takes 3-4 hours to go up and another 3-4 hours to come down. There are many shops selling maggi and other snacks on the way. You must have a good experience before you trek here. It will be difficult for beginners. The main problem is that, there are very few washrooms and changing rooms in the base. The best way to come here is with a guide or with a package. They will have local contacts and you can get access to washrooms. The route to the base camp is also very scenic. At one point, we spotted a leopard. Overall it's a beautiful trek. And yeah, it's the highest point in Maharashtra!!

Being the highest peak in Maharashtra, it takes you through steep climbs, ladders and if you go during dry time, expect a lot of dust. During rainy season, I believe it would be more slippery.
It feels that we are so close to the summit but this peak deceives everyone like a horizon. It takes an average person around 4+ hours to reach the summit. I recommend getting your body conditioned prior to the climb. Cheers!!

Pretty decent trek, not too difficult if you exercise regularly and have endurance. With decent speed you can reach the top within 2-3 hours. Kalsubai Peak, nestled in the Sahyadri range, is Maharashtra's highest point, offering breathtaking views and a thrilling trekking experience. Best visited post-monsoon, as it gets slippery during heavy rains, and in winter, it can be chilly. During summer, the ascent can be hot and strenuous. The trek rewards adventurers with panoramic vistas and a sense of accomplishment upon reaching the summit, where the Kalsubai temple stands, honoring the mountain's deity. It's a must-visit for trekking enthusiasts and nature lovers seeking an exhilarating adventure in the Western Ghats.
Night trekking to Kalsubai Peak offers a unique and enchanting experience, with a climbing time of approximately 3 hours. The cooler temperatures and the illuminated sky add to the adventure, creating a magical ambiance. However, it's essential to ensure proper safety measures, including adequate lighting and appropriate gear. Additionally, familiarity with the trail is crucial for navigating in the dark. Night treks to Kalsubai Peak are recommended for experienced trekkers.
From the summit of Kalsubai Peak, trekkers are treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. On one side, the majestic Bhandardara Dam sparkles in the distance, reflecting the sunlight during the day and creating a serene vista. On the other side, the rugged peaks of Alang, Madan, and Kulang stand tall, forming a dramatic silhouette against the horizon. The sight from Kalsubai Peak is truly awe-inspiring, offering trekkers a moment of tranquility and appreciation for the natural beauty of the Western Ghats.

It's one of the popular and worth the hype kind of one day monsoon gateaway near Mumbai.
Basically a ghat which has a series of waterfalls (small and big) enroute to Pune/Ahmednagar from Murbad/Kalyan.
You can park your vehicle aside on the road and enjoy the scenic picturesque beauty. Also there are multiple photography points to caputure the beautiful landscape of clouds covering the mountains in valley. There are multiple shops for Maggi and Tea/Coffee.
To stayover there are multiple resorts nearby and network over here can be an issue so please carry cash.
Best time to visit is during monsoon and one may start early in the morning to avoid crowd. It might be a dissappointment if it's sunny so better to check weather forecast before heading out to this place.

This is a must place to visit in monsoon possibly with your own vehicle. But make sure before visiting that the Ghat is not closed due to landslides. We have visited number of times, but again visited on 1st July-2023. The climate was pleasant, excitement starts the moment you cross Murbad. Taking halt on ghat at various places to enjoy waterfalls and getting wet in it is a common activity. Eating street foods like Bhajias, Maggi, Omelette, corn with tea adds feather to the cap. Final destination is MTDC resort point and having lunch etc at Flamingo Restaurant. We were walking in the clouds and visibility was nothing beyond 15/20 feet. If there are no clouds, you can see a reverse waterfall from here. Overall a experience not to be missed.
Precautions: Do not carry any alcoholic beverages, there is always a Police check and alcohol is not allowed. Be careful when you go under waterfalls and or enter springs as stones are slippery.

Must visit place for nature lovers. All Your fantasies of waterfalls will be met. There is no long Trek to waterfalls as some even drop literally on the road itself cleaning the vehicle for free. Sundays are really crowded. My advice is to avoid it. All kinds of waterfalls are present. There is even a reverse waterfall where due to heavy wind water never reaches the ground but is swept away by wind. Truly mesmerizing scene to watch if you have never seen one before. Some waterfalls have steel barbed wires stopping any stones from falling. My advice is to go to such waterfalls to get wet and enjoy the water. Parking is not an issue for both cars and bikes. A large number of restaurants are available. Roadside eateries selling tea, Maggie, corn and whatnot are plenty in number that too at a very reasonable price. You can't count the total number of waterfalls as there are really too many of them in all shapes and sizes. Kids , old and young everyone will enjoy.

I'll never travel to Pune without this trip planner again
Malshej Ghat, situated on the route from Kalyan to Ahmednagar, is a picturesque mountain pass in the Western Ghats that offers breathtaking views of nature and an abundance of bird species. The road is only two lanes wide throughout with one carriage way each side, but it has excellent conditions for most parts. It features clearly marked viewpoints with ample parking space where visitors can take pictures and enjoy refreshments like maggie, lemon sharbat or tea.
A nice place with beautiful green green panoramic views and waterfalls.. A 2-3 hours drive from Mumbai will take you to this place..
During monsoon time it will be a more beautiful for sure.. A perfect weekend destination if you like to explore the places.
Strongly recommends!!

Must visit place in monsoon. A place is covered by mountains from all 4 sides. There are lot of small stripes of waterfall down from the mountain which creates beautiful scenes. There are lot pf monkeys also, Unharmful though.

This is located on the route from Kalyan to Ahmednagar, little after Murbad.
Please note this road is only 2 lanes through out, one carriage way each side.
Superb place. Amazing ghat road. No traffic like the Mumbai - Pune route. Travelled in Dec... this place would be heaven on earth in the rainy season. The roads have been great for most part.
There are 3 or 4 points where you can wait and take pictures. Clearly marked out, has some parking space and amazing views. You can get maggie / lemon sharbat / tea here. Before and after the ghat there are enough restaurants.

Anyone could fall in love with the amazing views of malshej ghat. Although to reach there it's quite difficult and risky specially in rainy season traveling by road gets more difficult. But with precautions and safety, the nature lovers can come and enjoy this beautiful views of mother nature in all angles. You get to see the roads to heaven which surrounds itself with a greenary of mountains, small waterfalls, rivers throughout the malshej. From tourism management we have photo points everywhere throughout malshej to click pictures and enjoy the best view from best points. also we can have a snacks at top hill point with varities of Maggie, bajji, chai etc.

Great place for one day trip, best time to visit rainy season and winter season, but be careful while driving, roads are risky and be aware of wild animals, best thing to try masala Maggi and boiled corn

Best ghat to visit in any time of year. But it's best when you visit in Mansoon season. A curvy roads and small tiny tunnel in ghat. A nature lover as well as riders both can enjoy the view as well as driving. This ghat connect kalyan to ahmednagar, pune, aurangabad.

Ghat is amazing and also preserved by government of Maharashtra.
Cops are available everywhere and everytime.
Although it's a good place for those who love mountains but also with traffic.
Weekends can be chaotic.

Good view esply during rainy and winter season.
Roads need to be in good conditions, but its better than my previous visit.

Monsoon is the best season to visit this place. This Ghat is full of fresh nature. While going ,you will come across many waterfalls. After a certain point it becomes little riskier to go up hence it is advisable to ask local people or police.

Situated off Pune Nashik Highway, this temple is one of the Ashtavinayak temples. Lord Ganesha is revered by multitude of devotees as @Vignahar@ or remover of obstacles. To have a peaceful darshan it is better to choose a weekday, which is not a Ganesha festival or a public holiday. If you are planning to reach this temple from Pune, the route being the main artery to various industrial clusters, please start in the wee hours of the morning to avoid traffic jams.

It was a pleasant experience and nicely managed space.
The staff at the pass counter was courteous and provided the required information.
The other staff for the physical rides were very nice and had patience.
We were the last to leave as our car got some issues, while it was way past 9pm (closing time) the security guards were sweet to let us sit in the lobby.
Rides were good and best part about the place was the horses and the dogs.
There were two major drawbacks....
1) All the dogs in the room type cages was bit upsetting. One would get excited so the other dogs too would get very excited.
I don't know why couldn't they just let the dogs have an open big space.
2) most rides were free but the best fun one's were chargeable. I mean the tickets are not cheap but then even the charges for the other rides are also costly.
Hence a 3 star.
Overall, I enjoyed with the group I went with, but didn't leave with the feeling that I should come back.

Good place to visit with family and kids.
Adventure games with cool ambiance. Nice place.
Only 1 concern is about the dogs and horses here are not in good condition also the dogs were exhausted when people are taking them out in such a sunny and hot day.
Admins of the resort please do take some good step to protect animals.
Overall experience is great.

Superb place for a one-day trip with friends colleagues. There's so much of interesting activities one can do here: Cycling, Zorbing, Rapelling, Dog Walking, flying fox, swoop swing and so much more. You will not realize how your day passes by.
There's a table tennis, table hockey and video game area if people want to sit inside and have a good time rather than going out in the heat.
The experience here is one to remember and saviour!

In room dining : awesome food and service
Bath tub with jacuzzi
Can be considered :
Bit costly as compared to other hotels like Radisson.
Can offer some activities along with stay.
Overall very good service and enjoyed my stay. Entire Della campus is worth viewing as they have very well maintained garden.

The trip was super amazing all the rides is worth trying, specially flying fox, and swoop swing, paint ball, ATV and Buggy rides all were good, small activities such as - Archery, rifle shooting, crossbow shooting, net cricket and many more.. what we didn't like was staff behaviour and attitude very out spoken and rude when you ask their name they will not share they say their name Marshall, we faced this twice once in cricket net the guy was rude and second was at ATV ride the guy was rude they are locals from near by village so they feel they are in huge numbers and do and say anything. Completely managed by these people only so customer service we rank zero.. park and rides 💯% must try.. overall giving 4 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ because for staff behaviour and rudeness manner less people but for experience 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐..

Great combination place if you looking for a luxury relaxation place and also looking to experience some adventure. The place is available for a 1 day and stay option. I personally liked the adventure activities a lot. The place is a bit on the expensive side but it is a luxury resort so the price kind of is justified. It’s a beautiful place if you want to celebrate a special occasion with your loved ones and super family friendly with something for everyone to do from kids to elders.

Della adventure park is a TATA owned property.
This place is situated at 12km distance from lonavla. Easy to reach location through google map.
After visiting lonavla/khandala you can try this place. The ticket price is very high. Book before a day and you get 30% off. Special offer for womens, 50% off on sunday, book before 1 day.
There are two tickets.. Day pass & Jumbo pass.
If you want to enjoy every ride & full adventure then jumbo pass is for you. For others day pass.
With day pass you get 50 excitements. Many rides/activities are actually good like Archery, shooting, cricket, air hockey, snooker, ps4, boxing, bowling, horse riding, dog walk n many more.
This place provides food options which are very very costly. Single person food for Rs. 850. Samosa for 350. Water bottles for 110.
And you cannot bring outside food. Big turnoff.
On weekends you have to wait in que for all rides. Weekdays are better to visit.
All the rides/activitied are unlimited unless someone is not waiting..
Please bring your shoes as its required for many rides and they charge Rs.200 for it on rent. Only parking is free.
It takes whole day to complete all activities so plan accordingly.
Ots a good place to enjoy with friends and family.
There is a chalkboard on first right turn from entrance, dont forget to fill it.
Prakash Meshram — Google review
I visited this adventure park with my office colleagues as one day team outing. We were taken the day pass which costs 1500 per person with 50 activities included in it.
There are more than 20 in door activities included in those 50 so it really disappointed us. Also on weekends the crowd is more and for every activity there is a long waiting queue so it really takes your patience away. As part of this day pass they should give the two or more paid activities so that it will benefit their publicity. In my opinion they have kept so many activities in a small area so the people sits more in the waiting queue.
The food rates are also high but the food quality is not very good with less varieties in one of the restaurant where we had the lunch. The infrastructure they have set up is very attractive. The small children wil love the place.
Overall I would rate the place as 3.8 out of 5 stars.

One of the biggest park with incredible and adventurous rides. Paint Ball was fun (clean clothes were provided) Zipline was good (try the longest route)
Overall, the experience was great but it might be little expensive if you are going individually as you might have to pay for dirt bike and other services (included in Jumbo Pass)

I celebrated my birthday here and you guys it was the best day ever. The hospitality is so amazing and the people are friendly. The number of activities one can do are countless. I wanted the time to go slow because on weekdays, the park closes early. It becomes tough to complete all the activities. It's definitely worth the visit!

Large adventure park with lot of activities. You will be tired doing all the activities. Food is quite expensive. Good for a day trip outing with friends and family. Lot of activities for kids and for all ages. They have longest zip line in India. But only caveat is you have to hike lots of steps to reach to the top of the base.

Nice place. Day out for family. A bit expensive but worth the time spent. Stay options available. Good service. Cooperative staff. Good food. Definitely recommended for family and kids
Amar Phadol — Google review
Visiting here with your adventurous friends is definitely a good idea till you're getting a good discount on their jumbo pass so you can actually enjoy all the thrilling activities.
Day pass will just allow you to do the light activities and if you want to do any other activities they'll be paid as a day pass holder which is definitely not worth.
Note- wait time for all the activities takes from 5 min to 2 hours as mentioned on their invoice when you'll receive and about which you cannot do anything at all so I recommend to plan the day properly to do all the activities you need to do.
Also food and beverages are pricy and complementary water bottles are only given in the summer so don't keep any expectations of that in any other season.

The place is amazing and fun packed for adventure loving beginners. Everything was safe, well organised and properly managed as far I interacted with.
Do go to this place on Weekdays and not on weekends, as it will packed with lot of people and large queue on every ride. Also I would recommend going with 2000Rs ticket as that has enough rides one would need to enjoy the day and you won’t be able to cover everything in the same day. So think wisely :)

To have thrill and adventure this is recommended place. They have 50 plus activities including, zip line 10 seconds and 35 seconds, rope activities, in door video games, archery, gun shooting, pottery, carrom, chess, dart board, ATV/ mud bike, trampoline bungy jumping for kids, rocket shooting and bungy jumping of 850 m for adults, rappling, cow milking, pony ride, horse ride, electric bicycle, bicycle, dog ride, rope cycling, paint ball, etc etc
There are different categories of passes you can choose one depending on your choice of activities, but basic is day pass which cover many activities and over and above if you want to so some activity you can pay and do it.
Its fun for kids and adults as well.

Do Not Buy tickets or stay here during events, its a complete disaster, very mismanaged, wrong rooms allocation, no chaira to sit on a new year 4 hour event, the rooms have started stinking of STP gas and are very old now. New garden villas are just large spacious concretes with no bathtub or jacuzzi. Food is super expensive, they charged for juices during the new year event which costed almost 10k for couple.

Karla Buddha Caves are a historical site in Lonavala, Maharashtra that is popular with tourists for its enriching Buddhist experience. The caves were home to a monastery and are of great importance to followers of Buddhism. They are also a great place for a picnic if you wish to spend a day exploring the culture of the ages gone by!
A historical monument that is worth a visit if you are in Lonavala area.
There are 2 ways to climb the steps to the caves.
The easy route (if travelling by car or bike) is to take the vehicle all the way to the parking spot and then climb the remaining 150 steps.
The hard route is to start from the bottom and climb all the 300 steps.
There are shops all the way and the steps are shaded so the climb can be done any time of the day.

Caves hold rich history. Ticket is very cheap. 25rs for Indians and foreigners it is 300rs. If carrying camera then it is 25rs. Statues are not that well maintained or cleaned or preserved. Better care can be taken after looking at the crowd that it attracts.

It’s situated on a hilltop and view is mesmerising. I went in rainy season hence you can see some small waterfalls. But i doubt in summer season you will be able to see these much. Try visiting in daytime as there is no source of light inside the cave. You will be able to click some good pictures. No advance ticket needed.

Caves are beautiful but you will be able to see very few parts of it as other areas are closed and visitors are not allowed to go there. Visit is chargeable, 25₹ per person.
Not recommended if you are traveling only to visit this place, better to cover with other nearby places.
Note- Don't drive the 4 wheeler on a hill as you may get stuck in traffic.
The best way is to park 4 wheelers below and walk to the caves.
Manojkumar Mali — Google review
The caves are a good visit. There are 2 parts to it. The first one is a large tall cave with a lot of pillars inside. The pillars have sculptures on top. There are a few inscriptions too. I did not visit the temple so cant comment on that. The second cave has one section you can visit. It has stairs which lead to a second level with multiple rooms with bed like sections carved out.
Parking is available in multiple lots along the road to the start of the steps. Parking is not supervised so you have to drive around a bit to find a spot nearer to the steps.
You have to climb the steps a bit to reach the caves. It’s a bit difficult if you have toddlers with you. There are a lot of shops offering refreshments along the way so you can take small breaks.

The Karla Caves are a truly remarkable historical and cultural destination that offer visitors an unforgettable experience. The intricate carvings made by Buddhists depict various events of their culture, including the depiction of idols from that era, which is truly breathtaking and gives a sense of ancient history. These caves, some of which are over 2200 years old, are also home to the temple of the goddess Ekvira, making them a sacred and historically significant destination. The trek to the caves starting from the ground is enjoyable and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, but for those who prefer a more leisurely experience, car parking is available and cars can also drive up to the caves. Overall, the Karla Caves are a must-visit destination for history buffs, culture enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. The combination of history and natural beauty makes it a unique and special place.

Very beautiful place. Once a Buddhist monastery, situated atop a hill. Now more people visit it for a temple constructed recently. This Buddhist monastery was built by cutting the rock mountain. It has a meditation hall, rooms for monks, and a gathering spot. There was a small waterfall also, a natural source of water. The carvings are intricate and detailed.

One the ancient structure remained in Western ghats of India which displays Buddhist ideology and their love for architecture in caves.
This might be one of the scenic tourist attraction couple of decades ago. The climb by stairs was pleasant and easy affair.
There is a beautiful waterfall just before the caves. Gladly it's out of reach of people.
But it's now marred by shops set on both sides of stairs and their encroachment extending till middle of steps.
There is entrance fee for caves of Rs. 50 per person along with parking fee and entrance fee looted by villagers. As the case with all other historically important sites, this one also is poorly maintained.
No informative signages, no direction boards anywhere. Our fellow countrymen have successfully carried out their responsibility of dirtying the place with all kinds of litter.
Washrooms in parking are filthy and not usable.

Due to heavy rain upper parts of caves were closed when I visited. Can enjoy watching a beautiful waterfall on top in monsoon season. Temple on top so on the way there are tons of shops selling sweets and food. There are not many dustbins to collect plastic garbage. If there is any bin it's filled with rain water. Because of this all garbage is thrown around and it destroys natural beauty. Parking fee is collected. Lot of crowd in weekend , planned space for parking is not sufficient. Overall maintanance could be better for such revenue being generated here.

Simple track of max 30min n it was fantastic view of caves during rains. Strong suggestion : although four wheeler parking is available towards uphill but avoid it - better to park in area below hill as road get totally jammed by many vehicles n than vehicles start rolling down its vertical high.

To reach here you have to climb a few stair (300around) going through the local markets and have to buy entry tickets.

The caves are a good visit. There are 2 parts to it. The first one is a large tall cave with a lot of pillars inside. The pillars have sculptures on top. There are a few inscriptions too. I did not visit the temple so cant comment on that. The second cave has one section you can visit.

I had visited this wonderfull place with my family recently. It was not on weekend though little bit crowded. In my opinion winter or rainy season is the best time to visit those caves and to enjoy the sceneric view in front of the caves. There is a must visit temple of Ekveera devi. You do not have to wait for tickets in ticket counter also, they have their own site to purchase it. Ticket fee is 20/- for Indians.

Top view is very good. But if you decide to go by stairs then consider alteast 30mins of time. Not much to see in caves. They have temple on top so that is good.
Its a good place for devotees.

Amazing caves and scale of the structure. Walk is about 100 plus steps leading to a temple and the caves. The whole complex is not open for viewing. Also along the way spectacular views of the valley

Very beautiful architecture and is also preserved really well. But they should do something about the line to go for darshana as it took us almost 2 hrs just to get inside the temple where it took 1 more hr of waiting for the Darshan. As it is situated near the cliff there is direct sunlight falling on the people standing in line.

Karla Caves is a historic place, You can visit this place while on the way to Lonavala—a beautiful structure created by a group of ancient Buddhists. Refer uploaded image for a detailed history of this place. These caves were built by Buddhist monks and used for meditation and worship...
This place is open throughout the year during the day. You have to climb a lot of stone stairs, which takes around half an hour. On the way, you will find a lot of food, juice, and water stalls. This cave is divided into two parts, one is the main cave, which has a large hall with beautiful stone and pillar construction, and another is a place where monks stay…
One more thing is that the Aai Ekvira mandir is there, which is exactly beside the caves. Generally, a lot of crowds are there to visit this temple. One can visit this temple when coming for these caves….
@ Ticket - Entry ticket of 25Rs per person and for kids, it's free. Shoes are not allowed inside the main caves…
@ Parking – Paid parking is available at the bottom of the hill. 50Rs per car and for Byke, its free...
Overall, very good experience and a must-visit place … Aai Ekvire Temple and Caves both….

Considering the number of visitors visitng this historic place, the place is quite neat and maintained well. Not sure why people are not allowed to go through the gate (were barricaded). The Taj hotels - both the old one and the modern one just opp the gate -look splendid. Good place to take some selfies and snaps of the sea, the gate and the jetty. There were no pigeons when we visited around

Road is good, we can enjoy the ride, lots of Dhabas and petrol pumps one can see while heading there. Inside there are many small temples of Lord Shiva and other Gods also there is a beautiful garden which was there, but unfortunately it was closed at the time of visit. Ranjangaon Ganpati is one among the Ashtavinayak, celebrating eight instances of legends related to Ganesha. This temple's Ganpati idol was inaugurated and donated by the "Khollam" family, a goldsmith family based in Ranjangaon. The temple was built between the 9th and 10th century. The main temple looks like it was built in the Peshwa period. Nagarkhana is situated above the entrance gate. The temple facing east has huge and beautiful entrance gate.
Madhavrao Peshwa made a room in the basement of the temple to keep the idol of lord Ganesh. Later on Sardar Kibe of Indore renovated it. The idol of these lord Ganesh is also named as 'Mahotkat', and it is said that the idol has 10 trunks and 20 hands.
While going from the Pune - Nagar highway the route is Pune - Koregaon - then via Shikrapur; Rajangaon is 21 km before Shirur. From Pune it is 50 km.
In early 1990s, Govt of Maharashtra established an industrial zone (MIDC) on the land acquired from the nearby villages and the industrial establishment is known as Ranjangaon MIDC. It host many multinational manufacturing companies like Whirlpool, LG to name a few.

One of the Ashtvinayak located near Pune, the premises is right on the highway and has 2 parking spaces. One on the left of entry and one after you go through the main gate.
The premises were under construction when I visited and I didn't like the crowd management queue system.
The way to go to the main temple was very confusing.
After you are done with the darshan, to pick your slippers, you have to go through the security part again and then come back extra.
There is a park in the premises which is nice for kids or families to sit and relax.
On the outskirts, you have a market to buy local stuff like vegetables, eatables etc.

One of the lord ganpati in the list of ashtavinayak temples. Maha means big. Many people visit daily. It's situated just near the Pune-Nagar highway so no extra travel is required to reach the temple. Huge parking area but it's paid. A huge entrance area and structure will be identified from the main road. One extra building is added just to manage the crowd. They allow us to skip lanes by paying Rs.100 per person, this is little convenient for rich people. Not a good posture in the temple all should be treated the same. Some of the stone structure and pictorial things made. But disappointed with the management when they are not allowing them to see them and see other things like the garden and entrance part of the main temple. The temple has a big history but manageable is not up to mark. Must visit place with your family members and friends. Avoid the weekend to avoid the rush.

It is a really old and special place dedicated to Lord Ganpati. It's located in a small village and has been around for a long, long time. This temple is so cool that it's even been featured in some Marathi movies!
As one of the Ashtavinayak temples dedicated to Lord Ganpati, Mahaganapati Temple holds a special place in the hearts of devotees. The temple itself is super impressive, with lots of cool carvings and symbols on the walls. When you go inside, you feel really calm and peaceful, like Ganpati's watching over you.
People come to Mahaganapati Temple to pray to Lord Ganpati and ask for his blessings. It's a really important place for them, and you can feel the love and devotion in the air.
Visiting Mahaganapati Temple isn't just about saying prayers; it's also about feeling connected to something special and taking a moment to think quietly. It's a place where you can find peace and feel close to Ganpati.

It is really a very beautiful place, in the rainy season it gets even more beautiful view. Everyone should go here once.
The view from the lions point is awesome. There is a camel ride available for kids.
During monsoon you just get to see and experience the clouds and you will not be able to see anything from top. Those views are good for winter season only. During some it's too hot to go there.
They charge 50 rs for 4Wheeler parking but the no maintenance... It becomes difficult to drive on uneven surface as many rocks are there.
Place remains too crowded during monsoon.
Both points are very close tiger point and lions point and you don't need to park your vehicle separately.

I recently visited lions point and the experience was worth sharing. What made my visit to Lion's Point even more remarkable was the presence of curious monkeys. These playful creatures added an element of charm and liveliness to the experience. Observing them interact with each other and their surroundings was a delightful and heartwarming sight. Just a friendly reminder, though: while they can be entertaining, it's important to be respectful of their space and not feed them. Timing is everything at Lion's Point. Whether you're an early riser chasing the golden hues of sunrise or a twilight enthusiast savoring the warm embrace of sunset, this viewpoint caters to all. I was fortunate to witness the sun's gentle embrace as it bathed the landscape in a warm, ethereal glow, creating an ambiance that felt almost surreal.

Located on the Old Pune-Mumbai highway, this is a nice little place for a school/family trip - esp. for the lockdown babies to see real animals which are very "human-friendly", so the kids can go near, touch some of them and feed them.
This place has different day- tour packages which you can choose from - offering breakfast/lunch as per a fixed menu. The food was fresh and prepared on site, they have a simple and nice open space where you can sit and enjoy your meal. I liked how calm this place is.
They have specifically prepared food bucket which you get to feed the animals, with specific instructions on what to feed whom, that is so thoughtful & heart-warming - I loved the whole concept of this place ❤

We decided to visit this place in the slot at 9:00 am with our friends and kids. We were unsure how the experience would be as we had visited the zoo many times but this was something different . Here you will be allotted a dedicated guide who will take you on a thrilling and soothing tour of the place. There are different birds and animals who you can touch, cuddle, feed and enjoy! We fed parrots and love-birds, they were sitting on our hands (and heads :D)! There are many other animals like Horses, Ducks, Gunie pigs, Hedgehogs, Turtles, Cows, Sheep, Emus, Turkeys, Ponies, Rabbits, etc. Depending on the tour time, you will be served with a delicious breakfast or lunch. For animal/bird lovers and kids, this place is highly recommended, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3-4 hours and it's worth the money...not too costly either, with a great support staff!
If one is interested to learn horse riding, they also have stay camps.

Japalouppe offers a fantastic animal interaction experience, and my kid had a blast feeding them, especially the birds. The affordability, including a meal, is a huge plus. All animals are impeccably clean and well cared for, which is reassuring. The buffet option is tasty and well-organized. Our guide was punctual and highly knowledgeable, making the visit informative and enjoyable. Overall, Japalouppe is a top-notch animal encounter with excellent value.

Very well maintained, organized and planned. Guide provides the exact food and method of feeding each animal and bird. Provide ample time with each flock/herd. Breakfast is great too. The place is known for its horse riding lessons. But a popular weekend activity with kids.

This is a lovely place to take your kids. My 2 year old absolutely enjoyed petting various animals. We took tickets for the afternoon slot that included a petting tour for an hour followed by lunch.
The place is well maintained and clean - no bad smell and litter anywhere despite the number of animals in the farm. The staff who take you for the petting tour is very helpful and friendly.
The food given for lunch is simple and tasty. Note that the place is generally booked out fully over the weekends. It's best you book in advance. We ended up going over a weekday.
Overall highly recommended if you have toddlers. Would visit again. ✌🏾

Great experience to pet animals!!
it was a nice experience. They let you and your kids feed ostrich/ birds/ horses/ ponny/ piglets/ Guinea Pigs/ and many more.
Each group gets a bucket to feed animals based on number of people in it.
The staff is polite and answers all your queries.
Good place for your kid to visit and petting different animals.
It’s like a half day picnic where you can get involved with animals and have snacks or lunch there it self.

Good place to visit with kids. Neat to Pune and Mumbai both. They have variety of animals and they let us pet them. We can also feed the animals here. The experience here is unforgettable.
They have lunch in the package. Most of the items were very oily but pizza waffles and sandwiches were good.
I would suggest to carry snacks, at least what your kids like.
Place is very spacious and they allow pony rides as well. It’s not in the package but this is a experience you would like to go for.
There is also small play area for kids there which can be improvised.
Overall the day was good. Most of all my kid enjoyed it. And that’s what matters at the end of the day.

Our experience at Japalouppe Equestrian Centre surpassed all expectations! The facilities and animals are well maintained and the staff were exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. The guide was patient and explained everything in detail. It's a must-visit destination, especially if you're looking to enjoy close and friendly interactions with a variety of animals, ranging from horses and hamsters to cows, goats, pigs, and more. Whether you're an adult or a child, you're guaranteed to have a memorable experience. Additionally, the package includes food which is decent too considering most will visit with kids. There are visiting slots available, and it's advisable to pre-book. I had an incredible time and am eagerly looking forward to my next visit!

It was a marvellous experience. Well maintained and preserved. The staff were very helpful and polite. The petting zoo was a delight especially the bird cage. My kiddo loved it as did I and my wife.

👌👌👌
They have specifically prepared food bucket which you get to feed the animals, with specific instructions on what to feed whom, that is so thoughtful & heart-warming - I loved the whole concept of this place ❤❤❤
My little one absolutely loved the place, which makes me happy 😇😇😇
Good for one or two visits 👍
Oh btw, they also provide horse-riding trainings for all age groups.
Good zoo

A fun place for children who love animals. This is not the place for you if you are allergic to animals or are afraid.
It offers ample opportunity to pet very well trained animals and also feed them.
The guides and organisers are very well aware of the surrounding and behavior of animals.
This is primarily an equestrian centre and after that a petting farm. It keeps the animals confined and controlled but not at all bound. Kids who love birds, rabbits, cats, dogs, sheep, goat, cow, horses etc. Will love it.
We booked their morning picnic which included a very nice breakfast, followed by an orientation of the place. After which we were taken to different animals with a bucket of food (scrap, breadcrumbs and leaves mostly). You do not need to carry food for animals because the centre gives you that and also it is important to learn and understand the food items preferred by the animals.
One can also book their pony/horse ride - which is very well managed. It also trains kids as well as adults in horse riding as a sport.
We loved the experience and would certainly visit again. For morning/afternoon summer picnic one should carry sunglasses, caps and water bottle because it gets very hot outside. There are water coolers placed abundantly so you can keep refilling and stay hydrated!

There is one word I have for this place. Gentleness from and for the animals.
I stay very close and was planning since long to go for horse riding lessons.
Rajesh my husband organised a surprise visit today for my birthday. He knows i would be utmost happy in midst of animals.
The best for me was to be in the Aviary with the budgies and cockatoo.
We have a pet at home, but I love all animals.
This is a must for all children and adults.
The staff is kind and gentle.
Thank you for making my birthday a wonderful day 🙏❤️

A remarkable equestrian centre and riding school at the city fringe. Their website is comprehensive and provides all possible information needed to schedule a visit. Kids from 4 to 40 ;) would enjoy their petting farm experience along with the opportunity to feed the livestock, horses and some exotic birds as well. Sturdy non skid shoes, umbrellas are recommended during monsoons. A hat or cap during warmer days would be good. The breakfast served during our visit was very nourishing and well thought out. Short pony rides are also offered and can be booked online or at their counter. If you're jumpy in presence of animals (pets or otherwise) then this may not be the place for you. Much recommended. Ample parking is available for private vehicles.

Superb experience here. We were here for the farm tour and petting experience. The guided tour inclusive of buffet breakfast was a good pick. Our guide Rakhi was very courteous and knowledgeable. The kids as well as adults had a great experience petting various types of birds and animals.

Awesome experience!!! You can touch the animals, feel them, sit with them, pet them, feed them. A place to enjoy nature and let go of all your fears. The guides are very friendly. We went for an early morning slot. Had breakfast there. The food was also good. Take a U turn just before the toll naka to avoid paying the toll. Sufficient parking is available at the farm.

This center is definitely a de-stresser and a MUST place to visit and mingle with the world of domestic animals.
Well maintained. Reasonably priced tickets for a good two hours of animal feeding, unlimited scrumptious breakfast and beautiful nature.
The staff is so polite and well mannered and helpful. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed being amidst this wonderful world of donkeys, pigs, ducks, geese, turkeys, goats, sheep, guinea pigs, stallions, ponies, terrapins, rabbits, parrots and love birds.
It's simply an awesome experience that cannot be described in words and with pictures. You have to visit this place to experience the moments. Every connect with these beautiful animals and birds is an overwhelming moment and Japalouppe makes it come true.

Pawna Lake is a man-made reservoir that serves as a popular destination for camping, picnicking, and photography. Located near the ruins of an ancient fortress, the area offers stunning views of hillsides and peaceful sunsets. Visitors can also explore nearby attractions such as wellness centers, museums, and historic architecture at Aga Khan Palace. For those seeking overnight accommodations, there are numerous options available for camping.
Peacefull place for a sunset view with hills in the background. I parked my vehicle in an open space and took a small walk to get closer to the lakeside. Next time I might book a camp for overnight stay. Lot of options available for camping.

> I really had no clue that Pawna would be so nice to have a look at.
> This was my first time visiting Pawna and I am stunned at how clear and blue the water is. 😍
> We saw it while our way to and fro to our campsite and the water looks more like the water in Malvan (I said what I said) 🤭
> We weren't allowed to swim and all in the water, which I understand but there was a floating thing kept on which we could walk and get close to the water.
> I couldn't take much pictures it but this is what I have at the moment.

Enchanting I would say. A lazy location with a spectacular tranquil lake with crystal clear water surrounded by nature's abundant beauty. Very scenic ghat road leading to the lake from lonavala. Ideal place for a short ride or drive from Mumbai or Pune. If you are a camping enthusiast then it's a must visit for an overnight stay, quite a few reasonably priced well maintained camping sites options are available.

A few of my friends have gone camping during Rainy and Winters as it’s the best time and you to explore the beauty of the Lake. My visit to Pawna Lake near Lonavala, Maharashtra, was truly captivating. Surrounded by the majestic Sahyadri mountain ranges, the lake offered a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The picturesque views were nothing short of breathtaking, making it an ideal destination for anyone seeking tranquility. However, it's worth noting that the lake has gained popularity over the years, leading to a noticeable influx of tourists during peak seasons. Despite the crowds, the natural beauty of Pawna Lake remained undeniably mesmerizing, leaving a lasting impression on me as a nature enthusiast.
Roads could have been better
Cafes are much expensive.
Overall My experience at Pawna Lake was nothing short of exceptional, primarily due to its pristine waters that exuded purity. Unlike many other lakes that often show signs of pollution or debris, Pawna stood out with its crystal-clear waters that reflected the surrounding natural beauty flawlessly. This purity not only added to the aesthetic appeal but also emitted a positive vibe and feeling. There's an innate sense of calmness and rejuvenation that one feels when surrounded by such untouched beauty. The absence of dirt or pollutants heightened the overall experience, allowing visitors like me to immerse ourselves fully in the serenity of the surroundings.

Aga Khan Palace, built in 1892 by Sultan Mohammed Shah Aga Khan III, is a significant landmark in Pune. It gained prominence during the Quit India Movement when Mahatma Gandhi, Kasturba Gandhi, and others were imprisoned there. The palace now serves as the Gandhi National Memorial and houses a collection of portraits and photos from the freedom struggle. Its impressive structure and historical significance make it a must-visit destination for those interested in India's history.

Shaniwar Wada, a grand fort built in the 1740s, served as the seat of the Peshwas of Maratha Empire until 1818. Despite being destroyed by fire in 1828, it remains a popular tourist site. The fort was constructed using materials from various regions and later expanded with additional structures. Today, only the stone-built ancient remnants stand, accompanied by a picturesque garden. Visitors are drawn to its rich history and rumored hauntings.
We visited this fort at 9 o’clock and it had no crowd or queue. Entry was 25rs, no card accepted, better carry cash with you. Now about the palace, once you come near to the fort, you travel back in time. Imagine how beautiful this place would be and what all history is associated with it. Hire a tour guide if you can afford and it’s more fun to hear the history rather than reading it. Overall an awesome experience. Highly recommended visit.

A calm place. Good to be visited at evenings. Great if you are accompanied by someone. It will be superb to go with friends for a casual hangout. Nice wind and atmosphere. Nothing much to see there.just the ruins present. The story line is nice if you dig deep. Its really interesting to read the panels and evenly on Google if you search. Its a nice place to visit alone, or with family/friends.
People who are more interested in history will enjoy this place a lot.
I liked that almost at every place, there is a small board with the information on it about that particular place, but at some places it's broken, they should fix it.
I don't know why but the washrooms were shut, I hope this is not the case every time.
Don't forget to take an umbrella with you as it's an open place and under direct sun, one can get tired very soon. And keep you token (ticket) safe as if you lost it, you have to pay fine of 100/- 😅

Great experience for a casual time pass as I had to spend an hour or two it was really nice place to be at.

Shaniwar Wada Fort is a historic gem that left me in awe. The grandeur and rich history of this architectural masterpiece are truly captivating. The fort's ruins still stand as a testament to its former glory, and exploring its corridors and courtyards takes you back in time. The well-maintained gardens offer a peaceful retreat amidst the historical setting. The informative displays and knowledgeable guides provide valuable insights into the fort's significance.
The site is accessible and well-organized, with courteous staff ensuring a pleasant visit.

Well parking here is chaotic. Usually on weekends rush would be there. Keep change while going to book tickets. They usually don’t go with Digital one as well. Place is well maintained at few places. You can see people having picnics and all. Surrounded by temples this place is so goood. The view from top is beautiful.

One of the biggest reason to come to Pune was to visit this historic place. My experience was very good even though I went there in summer as temperature was very hot. I will definitely visit during monsoon to see the charm. The structure is very good and very well maintained but many fountains were closed may be because we went there in noon. For entry, you need to scan the QR where Rs 25 will be charged. You have ample amount of parking.

Good place for a one time visit.
Entry ticket is priced at 25\- for adults and free for kids.
They have a view point in the 1st floor of the fort.
Try to avoid visiting in the afternoon time as its too hot and the place has limited trees.
Parking space is limited too.
There are some good restaurants nearby.

This place has a rich chapter in Maratha Empire history. Most of the structures are destroyed now. But the remains are beautiful. But I feel like this place could have been maintained better. Security guards are very less. The ticket collection system could have been made way better. Management issues are there within the staff whenever there's a big crowd. Ticket prices are as follows, below 15 years Indian nationals don't need tickets. For above 15 years Indian nationals have to pay 25 rupees. Foreign nationals need to pay 300 rupees.

If you are in pune and wants to something historical. This Is the place for you. They promote it as most haunted place but nothing like that.
You can explore the place in like 2 hours. Awesome food outside this waiting for you.
NOTE: Carry a water bottle with you.

A must visit historical monument, the great seat of Peshwas, in the center of the Pune city. Many people suggested me that there is nothing to see here, but contrary to those suggestions, I found it very interesting. It still gives a glimpse of the life of those who lived here.
Siddu Dubey — Google review
A good location to go. If one does not have much time to go, this location, which is in the middle of the city, might be added to the itinerary. A glimpse of the huge Peshawas is provided by the fort. The palace inside was destroyed by fire a long time ago, therefore the interiors don't have much to offer. Although one may navigate, one should exercise caution when doing so with children because there are no safety obstacles. There is plenty of room to expand the inside garden and improve the visitor experience. It is best to visit this location in the early morning or early evening as there are no shelters and it is an open area. The shop shuts at approximately 5.30 p.m.

wonderful experience here, you can learn a lot of new things here which I did not know. This fort was a wonderful sight of the Maratha Empire, which was burnt in 1827. This is whats left of it so don’t expect anything majestic or luxurious. What makes it special is the story behind it.
Otherwise its pretty ordinary.
Also its a good idea to visit when the weather is cool. The entry fee is 25/-.

Best to be visited in the monsoons or winter. Few tree shades can save your visit during the summer. Nice structure however and quite enchanting to know about the history of this place.

Thw place was historical except the fact that it is surrounded by roads all around so you can expect it to be more crowded everywhere. Many fountains in the fort were not operated and the place looked a little dull when i visited (in April)I liked the place not only for it's beauty but for the way it's built, quite unique and curious.

I had a wonderful experience here, I learned a lot of new things here which I did not know. This fort was a wonderful sight of the Maratha Empire, which was burnt in 1827, due to which much of the heritage here was destroyed. But whatever is left here looks very good and gives a very pleasant experience and tells a lot of new things.High walls, big doors, tunnels, wells, a palace built by carving big stones. I felt wonderful. Parking is the biggest problem here because I had to wait for almost an hour to park my car.

I heard about this temple from some of my local friends, so I was curious about this temple.
On one of my weekend, on the way to ma na pa to swargate we saw a side road towards temple, so we decided to visit the temple, on the spot.
The temple is very nice. There are two temples one is Lord Ganesha, with another is of Lord Shiva, looks one of the oldest temple.
Both the temples are well maintained, but the complex from outside is not maintained. The river just beside the temple is very clean shops of modak are there.
And they provide free storage space for your luggage there and shoe storage space is also provided by the temple.
The area in front of the temple is on the main road so it is rarely crowded but always crowded on weekends.
