One of the oldest temple of odisha with extraordinary sculpture skills and inscriptions mounted on the temple and it's surrounding.
Stays a lot crowded during occasions but for better puja and darshan I recommend you to go at unseason days just like now.
Also to reach the temple you need to take a ticket for the bus specially arranged for the devotees by govt.it only costs 30 .
Bishnu Padhy — Google review
If u go odisha u should visit this temple.its in high altitude ". U can trek via stairs or u can take a ropeway ride to go there.awesome view from the too.
Samapti Mandal — Google review
This place is very nice. But natural beauty is ruined by government to making road and amusement. Making tourist places more attractive is good but not at the cost of nature.
SOMA BERA — Google review
The temple is located at a very beautiful and scenic hill top. The roads leading to the temple are also very beautiful, but unfortunately you can't drive your own vehicle. They provide bus service to the hill top. The view from the top is amazing.
The temple looks very beautiful and elegant. The premises inside the temple are neat and clean, but can be improved. You can take good photographs from the top of the view point. Also there is a rope way which is connecting to the bottom to the top of the temple you can use it to go to the temples as well
Be aware of the monkeys as they will snatch your Prasad or food, but you can buy some roasted chanas.
Pranab Seal — Google review
One of the four adi sakti pith, as described in Hindu history. The place is reached by stairs and ropeway. The environment is pleasant and serene. Beware of monkeys. The temple is rich in sculpture in all its walls.
Arup Ghosh — Google review
When I visited the temple was under construction and it is definitely going a to be beautiful place once everything is completely.
1. Newly constructed temple is good and the view of surrounding is also good.
2. You can enjoy the view of Rushikulya river from the top.
3. There are lots of places you will find like this in Odisha and this is one of them. May be the best time to visit is evening or morning time.
4. Private vehicles are not allowed so you have to buy bus ticket from the bottom at entry gate . At the bottom you have to park your vehicle.
5. It is just 5 min journey so don't worry if you are not getting any seat in the bus .
santosh maharathi — Google review
A very devotional experience.
The views from the hills while driving through the stiff turns are amazing.Monkeys are there all over place.
After you reach to the top you can see the maa tara tarini temple and the view from the top is very good.
Must visit place and next time you will again look forward to visit this place.
Presently temple premises is under development and at large scale tourism promotions are being done.
Regular bus service is available.
You have to purchase a car allowance ticket to enter to the hill premises area.
Aditya Mishra — Google review
It is a satipith, situated on the top of the hill. There is ropeway system and climbing system by stairs is also available. Mandir premises is newly constructed.
Tania Dey — Google review
The temple to go through bus(govt) charges 15 or 20 per person (recommended). For Ropeway 60/- (4 carriage and each 4 person can seat). But absolute worst is charging to enter the temple. And even to meet the goddess to be near u have to be pay 200/-(per person even children )to priest(Are nothing but blood sucker). After that the coconut u brought have to be given to god that also they charges 10/-. And also be aware of parking near ropeway entry ask the near person about the charges. They will not show themselves at first but during leaving will argue u about fees (but there is no parking facility there).
So to sum it up this don't go if u are thinking of prayer there, it will mean not a thing but its upto u. For 1 time go and experience its ok but for prayer its not worth due to those weird money taking at every point.

I recently visited Tara tarini temple and had a truly spiritual experience. The serenity and beauty of this place left a lasting impression on me. The architecture is magnificent, and the ambiance is incredibly peaceful. The temple staff were welcoming and helpful. Whether you're a devout worshiper or simply seeking a moment of tranquility, Tara tarini temple is a must-visit. I left with a sense of inner peace and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spiritual retreat.

Beautiful temple, 999 steps to climb. You can opt for a bus ride also. We climbed the steps and the view from the top was beautiful. Located on the banks of Rushikulya river. Usually crowded over the weekends.
Saswati Mohanty — Google review
Just beautiful. Need to climb more than 800 steps. Can opt for a bus ride , can also take a ropeway to reach the top. Located on the edge of Rushikulya river. Usually crowded over the weekends. Beautiful place. Mind refreshing. But just be careful from the monkeys.
Indrashis Chatterjee — Google review
Have to reach the top through ropeway which is amazing. The ropeway goes slow so it feels good to watch the nature around. We went in August, yet it was very hot to even walk in the temple. Choose the right weather to visit this place bcz it is located on top and can get blisters on your foot. Rest the architecture and beauty of the temple is beyond imagination. Must visit
Sri Vidya — Google review
The location and management of the temple is praiseworthy. There is ropeway and bus services for the pilgrims to reach the temple. The temple is nicely curved and work is going on for renovation. The beauty of nature from the temple campus will bliss your eyes.

This is one of the prettiest temple I have visited in Odisha. I loved the whole vibe of the Temple. The scenic beauty was breath taking. I was mesmerized by the surrounding.
Shyamashibani Mishra — Google review
Situated on the top of a hill, this shakti peeth of Odisha is at a serene location. General people have to walk nearly a thousand steps to the temple or go to the temple by the rope way. Only the locals, police and the people of the temple can go by the road that has been
made by carving the hill.
Nikhilesh Dash — Google review
The temple has been given a face lift. The ambience has always been great. But I am not too pleased with the cleanliness of the surroundings . The bus service, though I appreciate the idea of running them to and fro the temple, thus avoiding the over crowded premises with lots of vehicles. But there was a rush while returning to the toe of the hill. There was no queue, no body to look after the chaos. I don't know if that has only happened on that day or not.
SWARNA PRABHA Kar — Google review
Beautiful temple near rushikulya river. The premises of the temple are enhanced by the government. Very beautiful surroundings. Bus service is provided to the temple from the main gate of the temple to avoid overcrowded vehicles. So u have to buy a ticket for 15rs near the main entrance. The temple closed at 8pm.

Maa Tara Tarini temple in odisha janjam district, is really great. The temple is totally made with ancient rocks and the outside wall and mountain view point is made with modern rock art.The mountain view point is very good for photography. The grace of maa tara tarini is made this place so peaceful. It was nice place..bus is here to take people from main road to temple but you can also use ropeway to reach temple. Take care of of your stuff as lots of monkey are there. One of the oldest temple of odisha with extraordinary sculpture skills and inscriptions mounted on the temple and it's surrounding.
Stays a lot crowded during occasions but for better puja and darshan I recommend you to go at unseason days just like now.
Also to reach the temple you need to take a ticket for the bus specially arranged for the devotees by govt.it only costs 30 .This is an old temple nestled in the Kumari hills near Berhampur in Odisha and is one of the 4 Shakti Peethas of India! It is a famous religious place in Southern Odisha where the twin sister Goddess i.e. Tara & Tarini adorn the sanctum situated on the top of a hillock girdled by the waddling holy river Rushikulya.
ALOK KUMAR BISWAL — Google review
Overall a good temple. Good that no private vehicles allowed on top. It would be very difficult in summer at the top as no trees are there. What I did not like is the temple pujaries are money minded and demanding money at every point. One snatched the money from me while I was making a contribution to the Hundi. Government body as well as the temple administration should take some action about it. Else no one visit again. One suggestion to limit local venders also till foot hill. Lot of garbage may be because of them.

Maa Tara Tarini Temple is one of the most popular holistic place in India. The place is very peaceful but the worshippers are always ready to take away money from you. So be aware of it and be in the queue and follow the rules strictly.

Gopalpur Beach is a serene and peaceful coastal town located on the Bay of Bengal coast in Ganjam district, Odisha, India. It is a well-maintained beach that offers various recreational activities such as surfing and fishing. The town is also a commercial port, making it an ideal tourist destination to experience the magical sunrise and sunset while enjoying a scenic boat ride. My favorite beach so far. It's not that crowded so you can enjoy solitary and the majestic views of the deep blue water. The water is very clean, also you can witness beautiful sunrise and sunset too! There are water sports available also.

Gopalpur is a coastal town and a Notified Area Council on the Bay of Bengal coast in Ganjam district in the southern part of Odisha, India. Today it is a commercial port, a famous sea beach and a tourist destination. Gopalpur is around 15 km from Berhampur. The reconstruction of an all weather port including new berths is under development.
While you are at Gopalpur, be sure to experience the magical sunrise & sunsets, steal a moment of solitude & enjoy a scenic boat ride.
The casuarina groves that line up the sun kissed beach makes for enchanting sight. The beach is mostly secluded and one of the cleanest beaches in the country.

Amazing beach. Gets really really crowded in the evening and yet it quite wonderful. Mornings are better, clear, beautiful sunrise can be viewed here, ample food options are available on the beach. Only drawback is the vendors throwing their trash into the sea water, should be stopped.

Not so much to see, only waves are much more bigger than normal. Puri is a lot better than this, there is no blue flag beach, the beach was clean though. Wooden bridge has collapsed,no one allows to visit there, price are high than normal, to be true this doesn't attract me

Gopalpur is amongst the popular beaches in Orissa. Gopalpur-on-Sea is a beautiful and small beach resort located along the Bay of Bengal in the eastern Indian state of Orissa.
Originally it is a small fishing village on the coast of Orissa, it was so named when a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna was constructed some time in the 18th century. Apart from its temple, Gopalpur was distinguished for its magnificent beach and was discovered as a perfect winter resort. Soon hotels and guesthouses lined its seafront. The East India Company built huge warehouses and godowns because the trade with Burma had picked up and Gopalpur had become a trading point for rice from Rangoon. In those days, there were dances and parties that continued until the early hours and wealthy Bengalis from Calcutta made it their holiday home. Till Today Gopalpur is amongst the popular beaches in Orissa.
Gopalpur's importance dwindled when trade with Burma abruptly ceased during the war and never revived again. When the British left India, even members of rich Bengali homes preferred to holiday in other places and Gopalpur reverted to what it originally was, a fishing village.
With an increase in tourist trade in the late seventies, and the opening of luxury hotels, a slow revival began and today Gopalpur-On-Sea is one of the foremost beach resorts in India. Though now there are many popukar beaches in Orissa.
Gopalpur is a bewitching seaside resort and there can be no better option than to enjoy the sun, sea, and sand. Walk around the beach, collect shells and first-sized peal-white conch, and remember all the beautiful moments of your life. One may not be able to do it again......♥️
Chilka Lake is situated at a distance of 45 km from Gopalpur. Spreading over an area of 1100 sq km, this is the largest brackish water lake in the country and attracts large number of migratory birds.
Taptapani (hot water), as the name suggests, is a hot water sulfur spring situated around 67 km from Gopalpur....

Very nice place. The beach is not too long but well maintained. There are many hotels on the beach, most of them are old properties. In the evening the sea food stalls and snacks stalls are the main attraction. The beach is heavily crowded in the evening. Parking is also an issue here as the beach road is narrow.

The hotel is also available nearby and you can stay at night also.
Overall The beach is very clean and more beautiful 😍

The beach was awesome it also has a wooden bridge which provides quite a good view
It's a lot developed now
Reducing stars for cleanliness and they should have changing rooms which will make it easier for the persons who wanna have a good soak in sea. And no such facilities for bathrooms also .
Debasis Purohit — Google review
Smaller than Puri, therefore, less crowded and more affordable than Puri too. Nearest railway station is Brahmapur. Beach is clean and safe for bath. 2-3 days will be suitable to spend here.

This place is a total vibe! It's like a stress-buster machine that just melts away all your worries. The atmosphere is super chill, especially at sunset when the sky turns into this crazy colorful canvas.
There are also a bunch of food stalls here serving up all sorts of yummy snacks. It's the perfect spot to grab a bite and enjoy the scenery.
If you're looking for a place to escape from the daily grind and just relax, this is the place for you. You won't be disappointed!

This stunning beach in Odisha, India, is a paradise for relaxation and exploration.
Gentle waves lap against the pristine coastline, while vibrant local culture adds a touch of charm.
Once a bustling trading port during the British era, Gopalpur still whispers tales of its past through colonial-era remnants.

It’s a neat and clean beach and the plus point this if you are coming in early morning time before 9 am you can park your car near the beach (main view point) no need to park on the left side of parking place and have to walk till the main point .

One of the better malls in Raipur city even though comparatively smaller, Magneto has a decent collection of stores. The main attraction of this mall is the beautiful decoration they put in place for special occasions (must visit). The only place where it could do better is in the Eateries. It does have several, but some of them are in separate sections of the mall. So, there's no food court as such wherein you can choose from multiple options, instead, you'll first have to explore the mall and then choose where you want to eat!

The Gond kings once ruled these forests in the vicinity of the Bhandara. In 1970, 116.54 km2 (45.00 sq mi) was declared a Wildlife Sanctuary. In 2012, state government announced to merge this sanctuary with another national park to include in Saving tiger project
It is an important conservation unit in Central India in general and Vidarbha in particular. It acts a "Green-lung" for the adjoining human settlements and helps in maintaining the environmental balance.

Went there in last week ie Oct 17
Booked online, morning slot
Forest was quite dense and cool, guide was also good, but sad part is was not able to locate many species there.
As per discussion with guide if you wanna see good amount of animals than go there near June evening slot.

Our trip to Nagzira in March 2020 turned out better than expected. We saw wild dogs (dhols), a female leopard, langur, spotted deer, sambar deer, nilgai, peacocks, gaur, wild boar, owl in the space of three safaris. The Central Indian jungle gives a serene feeling and it was very soothing to experience nature and wildlife from an open Jeep. Our driver and guide were friendly and knew the forest well though we had to often poke them to tell us few things. We stayed at FDCM Nagzira resort and it was quite a unique experience to stay inside the core zone of a tiger reserve.
Few people saw a leopard couple at the resort restaurant at night and there are almost always deer and langurs very close to the restaurant.

Love this place for Leopards and wild dogs although we did sight a male tiger.. Beautiful untouched park.
If you come here do stay with Nagzira Nature Camp( search them on google for the contact number) very close to Chorkhamara entry gate. You will get througho professional service. They are fully into Wildlife, you can book your accommodation and they will help you with Safari party your pick and drop from near by station and airport. So one place for Nagzira to stay is the place. Book well in advance and get the best of hospitality.

Beauty of Nature. Don't just come for Tiger Sitting, but enjoy the landscapes. Plenty variety of Birds.
Amazing Place.
We, stay in LATA KUNJ suit which is managed by FDCM Department.
Quite costly, but location was amazing. It is located in middle of the sanctuary beside the beautiful lake.

It was a really beautiful place. Worth visiting. But there is a low chance that you may spot a tiger... It's upon your luck
We planned this as a half day trip from Nagpur. 1.5 hours each way, 1-1.5 hours to visit the fort, temple, Kalidasa memorial etc., and if one wants to make a stop for breakfast/lunch (we stopped at MKHS plaza on the highway) - altogether 5-5.5 hours should be sufficient. A Swift Dzire rented car charged Rs.3,000.
This was somewhat a hurriedly planned trip, and hence, did not have the opportunity to research. Still, I felt there’s not much information available either on the government tourism websites or open internet. All I got to find out that this houses a place for Agastya-muni ashram, near which Lord Rama with his family came and stayed for some time during their exile. The present day temple was built by Nagpur’s Maratha ruler Raghuji Bhosale in 18th century… I assumed that the fort was probably built by Marathas also.
I didn’t see any signage of ASI etc, and I hope the fort and temple is preserved, documented from archeological perspective as well, if not already being done.
The fort and temple are easily accessible with not more than 50 steps all combined, I guess. The temples are very we maintained and clean. The view of Ramtek city from the top of the temple walls are breathtaking.
One should be careful about monkeys.
Restrooms are not in best of the shapes, and can certainly be improved for convenience of visitors.
Overall, very good experience as a half-day trip from Nagpur.

The place is ok for a one day visit. The temple is very old and has immense historical importance. There are a plenty of hawkers and monkeys prevalent around the temple area so be careful with your belongings. The views from the place is good.

This Gadh Mandir is situated at Ram Tekadi ( Ram Hill ) in Ratek.. A very big temple of Lord Ram is here...Its a bhonsle dynasty temple architecture is very big & beautiful...Some renovation work is going on my last visit.. Ram Navami & Tipur Pornima are big festivals are celebrated here You may visit if you want to visit a temple as this is the most famous temple around Nagpur. By road, it takes around 90 mins to reach from Nagpur. After reaching, you may park at the base of the mountain and take the hundreds of steps to the temple, or you may drive to the top and then you would just need to climb around 25 to 30 steps that come after intervals.
The temple compound is clean, but devoid of maintenance. Old structures could have been maintained better.
The temple area is supposed to be full of monkeys, but fortunately we didnt see more than one troupe of 5-6 monkeys. These monkeys are know to snatch things from your hand, hoping to find food. It is advised that you do not carry any purse or mobile phone or any bag while visiting the temple.

Nice place to visit n weekend, so also, experience trekking, if u r planning to visit this place by climbing d mountain whereupon same is situated, either by 'Choti Payri' or 'Mothi Payri', i.e., Small or Big Steps/ Stairway.
Personally, hv njoyed climbing, via, Choti Payri during rainy season & winter season.
Reasonably well maintained stairway, but, at d same time Temple is n dilapidated condition.
U may visit d temple by vehicle too.
No charges of whatsoever nature required to be paid.

Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve
National park
Nature & Parks
Long-established national park known for its dense woodlands, diverse flora & Bengal tiger reserve.
Tadoba is one of my favorite Tiger Reserve park 🐅
Only one feedback I have is the forest department shall allow carrying mobile phones during Safari. All other National parks across India phones are allowed, not sure why it's not permitted here.
My personal request to change guidelines and allow us to carry phones in Safari.
Thanks

It’s really very nice experience , chances of getting tigers are really high . Our Guide was really good , we followed his instructions and we got the very good sight of tiger.. Tigress Maya with her two cubs , Tigress chotti Madhu… , Cubs of tigress W .
Better you carry some food stuff like fruits and chips chikki type things and water if you have kids with you…bcoz a single safari is of 4 hrs and kids really get hungry…
Carry warm clothes apart from scarf , sunglasses , binoculars etc for morning safari in winter (January and February both months )

Tadoba the place is well known for its tiger reserve. It is home to more than 115 tigers, 151 leopards and more than 300 species of other wildlife. I went with my friends and booked 2 rooms in resort. The staying cost was around 2200 per person just for 1 night inclusive of lunch, snacks, dinner and next day breakfast. We booked buffer safari costing around 5000 and core safari cost more than 9000 depends upon the season and the availability as the waiting time for core safari was more than 2 months. We were lucky enough to saw the tiger. The tiger name is choti Madhu and she is the most beautiful tiger in tadoba as told by safari ranger.

What a beautiful place. This is absolute thrilling experience. It's a dense forest area. Full of Deers, sambars, Peacocks, and offcourse King tiger 🐅. We went for early morning safari in core zone.
Total safari costed us Rs7250. This includes Private Gypsy for 4 hours with capacity of 6 tourist, Driver and Guide charges. Also camera charges. One of the things you should remember that MOBILE PHONES are strictly NOT ALLOWED inside Jungle area. So one compulsory needs to carry Camera for photography.
We explored Jungle. It was very scenic and full of wild creatures. There were many water bodies inside Jungle with crocodiles 🐊.
Finally after long exploration we got our reward. Our guide got information that there is a Tiger spotting in nearby Lake.
So we hurried there. But when we went there tigress was sleeping inside bush. So we along with many other Tourist waited for almost 45 minutes at same spot. Finally the moment came and Tigress gracefully walked out of bush and came out in open water. In few minutes her 8 month old CUBS also came out in playfull mood. That was some experience.
After almost 45 minutes we started our exit journey.
I must say I'll definitely keep coming back to this wild paradise. There are many hotel options around. Also it is recommended to book safari atleast 4 month before your visit.

If you love exploring and experiencing wildlife, this place has to make it to the top of your bucket list. I took four safaris out of which we had a sighting on three of them. While the tiger is the usp, there are many many more animals and birds that you will get to see here. The climate is very very hot and if you really want to enjoy and make the best of your time, it is advisable to wear covered cotton clothing at all times, tied hair and head covered and carrying water bottles is a must

A dense forest reserve located near the chandrapur mines.
You can take your vehicle(4 wheelers only) inside but you are not allowed to step outside your vehicle when you are inside forest parameter and you also can't stop your vehicle anywhere on the road.
Best time is to visit in the evening when animals step outside for a walk.

1. Resorts are expensive
2.Mobiles are not allowed inside the park, so don't forget to bring a DSLR camera or you can rent at the park.

Good experience. Safari is managed well and need to be booked well in advance from official website. Road till core moharli gate is in good condition. Souvenir shops are available where we can get different product including camera on rent.
Mobile phones are not allowed inside.
Best time to visit for sighting is summer.
Ample of stay options available but felt little costly.
Tiger sighting depends on luck but i got to see tigress maya bathing and killing smabar while we were just about to leave

One of the best national parks to spot tigers, we spotted 2 tigers Charger and Heena through the Shreekheda gate. It was mating season and 4 tigers were we easy to spot in that zone.
The charger tiger actually charges towards the gipsys.
Tadoba national park doesn’t allow mobile phones for some reason. Cameras are allowed and even can be rented at the gate.
Prebook the safaris earlier as they get sold out soon.

A must visit for Ganesh bhakts.

Beautiful architecture, clean and maintained. This place can accommodate a lot of devotees simultaneously. On some significant days like Chaturthis, naturally the temple becomes overcrowded, so they have police guiding the public and have proper inspection on the entrance. Although there's a huge parking inside, but you need to park your vehicle outside the temple's premises whenever it's overcrowded, since it would be overwhelming for the police to inspect every vehicle to prevent any mishap.
Besides lord Ganesha there are other idols of lord Shiv, Lakshmi, Hanuman, etc. On the entrance there are shops to buy garlands, flowers, camphor, incense sticks, etc. They have their own packages that would include all of these. The visitors can select accordingly. On the entrance there's a shoe stand, but you need to keep the token safe unless you want to go home barefooted!

1. We are wearing mask as a safety precaution. But unfortunately, people of this place are forcing us to remove mask.
2. We went to Lunger very 1st time. Thank you for the food they offered. But in the end , women's feeding is roti and daal are forcing us to finish some chutney type daal . We told them that we are not able to finish at the moment but then they are cursing use and using bad words towards us. They literally calling us that we are eating someones part. The gurudwara is so clean! The whole atmosphere is serene and quiet, and quite devotional. Everyone is courteous, and everyone is welcome - as long as you're respectful and not being rowdy.
Two points to remember for the visitors:
1. They don't allow you in with shorts /bermudas. Full, respectable clothing is required, with a covered head.
2. They don't allow masks inside. That was a little concerning, but it's a question of religion, so okay. Nevertheless, ample social distancing was maintained, and top notch cleanliness was seen, so on the whole, we were not very worried about coronavirus, inside.
Good parking space is available, and a whole line of shops for random, spur of the moment shopping.
Absolutely worth visiting, if you're in Nanded.

Takhat Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchal Nagar Sahib is a magnificent Sikh pilgrimage site located in the heart of Nanded, Maharashtra. The site is one of the five takhts (thrones) of the Sikh religion, and is considered to be one of the most sacred places for Sikhs around the world.
As soon as I entered the premises, I was struck by the incredible beauty of the architecture and the peaceful atmosphere that surrounded me. The glistening gold and white exterior of the Takhat was absolutely breathtaking, and the intricate carvings and design details were a testament to the skill and craftsmanship of the artisans who created it.
The site is steeped in history and spirituality, and I was moved by the powerful sense of reverence and devotion that permeated the air. The highlight of my visit was the darshan of the holy Guru Granth Sahib, the religious text of the Sikhs, which is housed within the premises.
The staff at Takhat Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchal Nagar Sahib were friendly and welcoming, and were always available to answer any questions I had about the site and its significance. The site also offers various amenities, such as a langar hall where visitors can enjoy a free meal, and a guest house for those who wish to stay overnight.
Overall, my experience at Takhat Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchal Nagar Sahib was truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend this site to anyone who is interested in Sikhism, history, or spirituality. Whether you are a devout Sikh or simply a curious traveler, a visit to Takhat Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchal Nagar Sahib is an absolute must.

Unique, oval-shaped lake formed by a meteorite impact & surrounded by forest & Hindu temple ruins.
Lonar lake also known as lonar crater is a National Geo heritage site.
It was created by meteorite hitting the earth.
Surrounded by ancient temples glorifies the lake more.
It is around 1.8km in diameter and 150meters in depth.
View point is located outside the lake temple premises where we can get the beautiful view of the entire lake.
Once inside the premises, there are temple stairways and trail road to lead down till the lake.
Entry is free.
Would need almost a day to explore the lake area.

An amazing place created by the impact of a meteorite. Full of suspense. Water is salty, but the ground water is sweet. Way salty that only some microbes survive. Surrounded by some of the famous temples of prominent deities.

Lonar Lake has a wonderful story behind its beauty! Around 52,000 years ago, a meteor weighing about two million tons, through space at an estimated speed of 90K km/h crashed into the earth creating a magnificent trough. Wonderful view, this is a very rare occasion, one must definitely visit!

Nice one day trek both ways up to the base of the lake and back. The lake itself is a natural wonder of the world - the largest crater lake and the largest crater from basalt rock. There are fresh water streams around the salt water lake with no explanations of their origin. Great old architecture mandirs dot around the lake. The flora and fauna around the lake are special as well as they form their own closed ecosystem.

Lonar Lake is one of the best sites to visit in Maharashtra and you can call it one of the wonders of India. Lonar is one of the lakes in the world formed due to the impact of a meteoroid on the Earth which is also known as the mysterious lake due to the various facts.
To reach Lonar Lake the nearest railway station is Jalna and from there, it is around 2 hours from the bus where the bus frequency is very limited from Jalna bus stand.
To reach the water level of the lake one has to hike a lot which depends on the speed and pace of the hike, it took around 45 minutes to reach the water level. The hike is kind of tiring and carry enough amount of water along with you.
At one entrance, you have to pay 40₹ per person for an entry ticket. If you are travelling solo either hire a guide or walk along with a group of people as the way downstairs is a jungle area and leopard and monitor lizards are often spotted here. I was walking alone and at one point a group of monkeys tried to attack me, thank god to the group of three who were walking a few meters behind me otherwise it would have been a horrifying situation for me.
The way is smooth and you can see ample temples and ruins on the way even you can find signboards showing the way to the lake.
I think the Maharashtra government should take some measures to protect this national geo world heritage site, I could see thrash everywhere on the path.
Overall it was an amazing experience visiting this mysterious lake.

Amazing place. Lonar crater lake has its own ecosystem. One should read its history before visiting this place. Although the crater's age was previously estimated to be 51,000 years, newer studies suggest an age of 556,000 years.

Lovely place. One of its kind on Earth. To visit the lake one needs to hike down from Gomukh temple and walk the forest trail. There are ruins of various ancient temples on the perimeter of the lake. Lake itself has mesmerizing history. Having a guide with you while visiting the lake is useful.

Lonar Lake has a captivating story!! Around 52,000 years ago, a meteor weighing about two million tons hurtled through space at an estimated speed of 90,000 kmph and crashed into the earth creating a magnificent trough. To visit, one has to hike down 2-3 kilometres which will take 2-2.5 hours approx. Carry your water bottles as it would be very exhausting. But after reaching view is breathtaking. Entry ticket is 30 Rs per person.

Title: Enthralling Experience at Lonar Lake
Lonar Lake is an absolute must-visit destination. The trek is easy, and hiring Saurabh as our guide enhanced our experience exponentially. His insightful narration about the place, coupled with demonstrations using litmus paper and magnets, added depth to our understanding. The up-close view of the lake was mesmerizing, followed by a scenic drive around it from various viewpoints.

Lonar lake is a ASI protected site and one of the 4 lakes in the world that were created by a meteorite. To reach the lake you have to walk down around 3 kms and a forest entry charge of INR 40 is taken. It is a must visit since the Lake is beautiful and has a lot of different qualities. Early mornings are good for bird watching. The lake is said to be more than 50000 years old.
It is not so famous yet but has its own natural beauty. There are old Hindu temples around Lonar also that one can include in their itinerary.

The Ajanta Caves, dating back to the 2nd and 1st centuries BC, are adorned with intricate designs and religious artwork. These caves are situated along a steep gorge that borders the Waghore River. Among the various caves, five serve as prayer halls while others act as dwellings. While early Buddhist caves represent Buddha through symbols such as footprints and wheels of law, those from around the 5th century AD follow Mahayana practices.
This is one of great tourist site in India. Caves, painting and carvings are simply beautiful. You will feel proud about our ancestors and the marvelous art they have left behind in our reach heritage. One must spend enough time in each of 30 caves to understand beauty of the place. In rainy season this might be on top of natural Beauty. Planning to visit in next August or September.

Cave 2, adjacent to Cave 1, is known for the paintings that have been preserved on its walls, ceilings, and pillars. It looks similar to Cave 1 and is in a better state of preservation. This cave is best known for its feminine focus, intricate rock carvings and paint artwork yet it is incomplete and lacks consistency. One of the 5th-century frescos in this cave also shows children at a school, with those in the front rows paying attention to the teacher, while those in the back row are shown distracted and acting.
Cave 2 (35.7 m × 21.6 m) was started in the 460s, but mostly carved between 475 and 477 CE, probably sponsored and influenced by a woman closely related to emperor Harisena. It has a porch quite different from Cave 1. Even the façade carvings seem to be different. The cave is supported by robust pillars, ornamented with designs. The front porch consists of cells supported by pillared vestibules on both ends.
The hall has four colonnades which are supporting the ceiling and surrounding a square in the center of the hall. Each arm or colonnade of the square is parallel to the respective walls of the hall, making an aisle in between. The colonnades have rock-beams above and below them. The capitals are carved and painted with various decorative themes that include ornamental, human, animal, vegetative, and semi-divine motifs. Major carvings include that of goddess Hariti. She is a Buddhist deity who originally was the demoness of smallpox and a child eater, who the Buddha converted into a guardian goddess of fertility, easy child birth and one who protects babies.
The paintings on the ceilings and walls of Cave 2 have been widely published. They depict the Hamsa, Vidhurapandita, Ruru, Kshanti Jataka tales and the Purna Avadhana. Other frescos show the miracle of Sravasti, Ashtabhaya Avalokitesvara and the dream of Maya. Just as the stories illustrated in cave 1 emphasise kingship, those in cave 2 show many noble and powerful women in prominent roles, leading to suggestions that the patron was an unknown woman. The porch's rear wall has a doorway in the center, which allows entrance to the hall. On either side of the door is a square-shaped window to brighten the interior.

Ajanta Caves are a set of 30 Buddhist caves, some of them dating a few centuries BC, and the site is an awesome historical place to visit; and if you are not tired after going up and down stairs by the time you visit most of the caves, you can still hike up more stairs on the other side of the river to have a panoramic view of them, and also of the river and waterfall, that are active during the wet season. I got there at opening time (9AM) and didn’t have to wait, except for the shuttle bus taking you 5km to the restaurant and caves.

A place to experience the grandeur of the Indian heritage and culture. Mainly dedicated to Buddhism but has the presence of Hinduism and Jainism as well.
Peace and quiet, the feeling of serenity in the caves is something we can only experience and not explain in words.
Foothill restaurant serves good food.
Take at least 2 to 3 hours and be prepared for a walk/climb and opening the shoes repeatedly.
The bus ride is scenic. Recommend hiring the guide provided by the government. They do a good job explaining the caves.

There are in total around 30 caves of which 26 are open to the public. Cave 26 is the best one followed by 1,2. Ajanta is known for the paintings though most of the paintings are not clear. Ajanta Caves is located about 100 km away from Aurangabad. The road is good and you reach the parking where you have to pay Rs 50/- as parking charge and Rs 15/- per head as amenities charge.
From the parking, a bus takes you to the caves where you are charged per head Rs 30/- for A/c and Rs 25/- for regular.
The ticket window to the caves charges Rs 40/- per head and camera is free. Here, you are checked and then can proceed to the caves. There is a cafeteria and also clean restrooms.
There are steps and a ramp to the caves and even a chair lift available(charged extra) for those who can not climb.
The caves are very well maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India and mostly are temperature controlled. It is advisable to wear easy to remove footwear as nearly in all caves foot wear has to be removed. The paintings are preserved and advisable to have a book explaining which cave has what.
Guide railings are there, and attendants are there for each cave.
The road back is also easy and worth the visit.

The Bibi Ka Maqbara is a mausoleum in Rabia-Ul-Daurani's memory, built by Aurangzeb in the mid 1600s. The building has a striking resemblance to the Taj Mahal and is a beautiful example of Mughal architecture. The carvings on the facade and around the grounds are worth taking note of.

On a November afternoon, we explored Bibi Ka Maqbara. The pleasant weather added to the enjoyment of our sightseeing experience. Despite the site's rich history, there's a noticeable lack of respect for its heritage, evident in the poor maintenance. Extensive renovations have altered some of its original art, although the interior dome remains a captivating sight. The overall experience would have been more delightful if the water fountains and sprinklers were operational. Fortunately, the entrance tickets are reasonably priced at Rupees 25 for individuals aged 15 and above, while those aged 15 and under can enter for free.

In day time it looks beautiful but not as good as it looks at night. Entry closes ends at 9pm. Good big paid parking available nearby. Reasonable Entry Fees of Rs.25 and if you are carrying a digital camera then additional Rs.25 for the camera. Mobile shooting is allowed and it's free. Historically valued, but not maintained well. Everywhere people feel the need to take dramatic poses and snaps. Kids running around, standing/leaning on parapets. It spoils the entire aura of the place and shows the utter disrespect we Indians, as a society, have for historically significant monuments.

Visited this place on 15th Aug, 2023, i.e. Public Holiday. So there was a huge crowd, really, very heavy crowd, as it was the time of monsoon too.
Important points:
•> There is a huge crowd, primarily compromising of the local peoples, but there is only one ticket counter, and about 500 m long line. Quite disappointing. So it's a good decision to pay online through QR code beside the ticket counter. They give ₹5 discount if paid online. So the ticket which usually costs Rs. 25, costs Rs. 20, and you save time.
•> There are huge parks around, to wonder and spend time with your closed ones. Also the mountains all around give a wholesome vibe. There is a small temple on one of the peak with a big indian flag which looks so damn beautiful.
•> You will not take much time to visit this place completely. It can be completed in 1 hour if you have other plans too. Like visiting the soneri mahal, which is at little distance from this place. Google map can help if you decide to walk.
•> Kindly control your children as the railings on the side of the platform of maqbara is not very strong, so sitting on them is prohibited too. Beware of falling on stairs due to the crowd.
Don't pollute the place kindly. Be responsible and enjoy.

It's more like the Taj than you'd expect. There are beautiful gardens on all sides - shaded and quiet.
Be sure to get a view of the monument from the back. Not sure if the marble and plaster have stayed whiter or the light hits it differently - but it is even more etheral and beautiful.
Prepare for it to be hot, though some part of the monument itself offers shade at all times of day.

ASI charges you around 25 rs per head, and for cameras there is another charge of 25 but not for mobile. The vicinity is beautiful and has many mango trees you will recall Taj Mahal many a times
The buddhist temple Aurangabad caves are a fantastic attraction in the city of Aurangabad. The complex of 12 caves was carved out of soft basalt rock and date back to 6th or 7th century AD. The Ajanta caves, one of the most popular attractions in the complex, are a magnificent structure that depicts different stages of Lord Buddha. The cave is also a UNESCO world heritage site and is safe for children to visit.
Nice place neat and clean.. good place for meditation... But kindly book a personal vehicle otherwise you will walk 2.5~3 km at the time of returning....

A must visit place as Ellora Caves are world famous Heritage sites in India. Very calm and quite although some of the statues are destroyed but a must visit place in life time. Best time visit this area / place is during winter (Nov to Feb) as climate will be awesome. Suggested to visit first in the morning as you will require to spend at least 3 hours to complete. Parking is available outside and there are entry fees and if you are late, there will be lot of rush. A best place for kids to explore !

The climb is worth the view... the caves are stinky due to stagnant water, but there is not much to see just a buddha statue and a few beautiful carvings on the walls. Locals just visit the place to chill as the view is soooo amazing. Need to have your own transport or it gets a little difficult to get something back to the city.

Located on a hill, there are twelve caves. Some are not accessible though. Most are Buddhist shrines but also display Goddess Durga and God Ganesh. Not much visited by tourists, it is very peaceful and offers a beautiful view of the city of Aurangabad.

The place is so beautiful and calming, the people who work there are good at their job and helpful.
They have good maintenance of the outside area of the caves.
But the government should know and understand that these historical monuments are precious and need to be taken care of. These monuments give each city an identity and thus give value to our nation.
The caves are not at all maintained from the inside, It smells dirty and also the walls are getting more dirty and infectious. There are statues of Our supreme Buddha which are not properly maintained and there are no rules for visitors to showcase respect towards those statues.
People who take photographs are so disrespectful towards the place and statues.
I think people should learn to show some respect towards our monuments which showcase our history.

Very interesting place!
There's an open ground at the base of the hill, so ample parking available. There's a washroom before you start climbing the hill, no facilities in the caves, so be mindful.
The caves sit atop the hill, the stairs lead to them. The panaromic view of the city from the top is gorgeous.
Like all rock cut places, this cave also has a calming, chill feel to it. The caves are not lit, so the main attraction - the massive Buddha statue with the disciples - sits in dark. I'd have really appreciated if there were a few guides who'd explain the carvings on the walls. Some of them did get spike my curiosity.
Clearly, there's been a lot of patch work done to make it tourist friendly. But nonetheless, it's a nice place to visit and spend a couple of hours.

Each of the caves are home to several remarkable carvings and sculptures of Buddhist deities belonging to the Tantra tradition. Buddha Leni caves is a very good example of Indian history and mythology melting together. The caves which have been reported are supposed to be used by the pandavas during their exile. The Buddhist meditation centre at the foot of the hill is also worth a visit. It takes almost 1 hour for climbing the stairs and return. Overall I can say it's a very peaceful place. Must visit this place

Historical place with preserved sculptures. Although there is no guide but you can identify the history of the site by the sculptures encarved on the stones. While climbing upward to the site you will be seeing more than 100 Buddha statues on the way. It has quite a nice view from top. You can take stairs or the road to go half way up. It has 2 cabes and one big domb like place. The details of the sculptures can be seen using a torch. The main sculpture is damaged a bit but still is in good condition.

Aurangabad Cave Temple. Jesus, Mohammed were not born yet. India was home to pure Indians. They follow the teachings of Hinduism , Buddhism and Jainism, three of the world's oldest religions. The mythology of those days described 'Devgiri' as the abode of the gods. The muni sages of the three religions lived in the beautiful coniferous forest of that beautiful mountain. It is written in the Shiva Purana that sometimes even Mahadev himself used to visit that land. In harmony with all religions, the mountains used to chant Sanskrit and Pali verses. The Buddhist caves of Aurangabad are contemporary with Ellora and Ajanta, but how much do we know about them? In Devgiri (Aurangabad) our ancestors built twelve stone-cut Buddhist temples on a hill extending from east to west near the city. The hill is also formed from volcanic lava, but experts say the Aurangabad Buddhist caves were excavated from relatively soft basalt rock in the 6th and 7th centuries. The Great Chaitya Cave Inscription of Kanheri Cave mentions Aurangabad Cave. Of the 12 caves, caves numbered 1-6 are named the "Western Group", 7-9 the "Eastern Group" and the three unfinished caves 10-12 the "Northern Cluster". Cave number 4 among them is Chaitya Stupa. The caves hidden in the green hills are beautiful to see from a distance. The architectural styles of the Aurangabad caves include deities and stupas of the Hinayana, Mahayana and Vajrayana architectural styles. In some of the Buddhist caves, you can find statues of several Hindu deities including Durga, Ganesha, as well as numerous Tantric Buddhist deities. When I saw the seven matrika idols in the Vajrayana cave, I first thought they were Hindu idols, but later I heard that they were Tantric Buddhist goddesses.
The caves are not very big in size, a bit dilapidated and maybe neglected as comparatively few tourists visit. Carved in the Sihyachal range, the Aurangabad caves may have been somewhat overshadowed by the influence of the great names of the Ellora and Ajanta cave temples. Although its sculptures are comparable to those of Ajanta and Ellora. The cave temples of Aurangabad, carved between the 6th and 7th centuries, are located about nine kilometers from Aurangabad city centre.
Must visit place along with Ajanta and Ellora caves.

Aurangabad caves are situated just outskirts of the hustling city noise and few kms from mini taj - bibi ka maqbara.
This 12 caves are carved from basalt rocks and it’s divided in 3 sub groups. Among them are some nice chaitya style of caves. Some have nice sculptures of Hindu god and goddesses. Worth to visit. Also you can spot some nice birds here. Closed at 6 pm. So better to start accordingly. It will take more than one hote to explore all caves. Western caves are little higher than others.

Reaching the caves is difficult. For seeing the caves, one has to do stiff climb on stairs of considerable heights. Very difficult for aged persons. Moreover, there seems to be no or very little care for the artefacts. Most of the caves are dark as neither natural nor artificial lighting exist.

Around 6 KM from Aurangabad Central Bus Stand. There are around 10 caves. 5 caves are in one side and the other 5 caves around a km away. Best time to visit is early in the morning. For caves 1 to 5 need to climb around 70.steps and as you go up the sound of birds welcome you. As is it less touristy compared to Ellora and Ajanta it's the best caves I prefer eventhough it does not have the grandeur of Ajanta or ellora.

Excellent experience. Magnificent structures and views all around. Locals are really not helpful and give all false information. There are a total of 34 caves among which I felt Cave 16 which is the centre one as soon as we enter and Cave 29 which is a bit far are excellent. For cave 16, If you are fit enough try to climb the hill for the top view. En route to Cave 29, you will get a waterfall and the view is really amazing. Even though this is inside, Cave 29 is huge make sure you don't miss it.
It's a holiday on Tuesday(check once before you leave). It will take around 3-4 hours depending on the time you use to take pics. Overall a nice experience.
Note: You won't get food inside only water so make sure you get something to eat. Since the overall duration will be more.

These 34 monasteries and temples, extending over more than 2 km, were dug side by side in the wall of a high basalt cliff, not far from Aurangabad, in Maharashtra. Ellora, with its uninterrupted sequence of monuments dating from A.D. 600 to 1000, brings the civilization of ancient India to life. Not only is the Ellora complex a unique artistic creation and a technological exploit but, with its sanctuaries devoted to Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism, it illustrates the spirit of tolerance that was characteristic of ancient India.

It's beautiful to see ancient caves at Ellora. Feels like a single day would not be sufficient to see these caves in detail. Because there are many caves. The Kailasa Temple is a monolithic temple that is carved out of a single rock and is one of the largest and most complex rock-cut temples in the world. The Buddhist caves are also notable for their beautiful sculptures, and the Jain caves are the smallest group of caves, but they are still worth visitingI highly recommend visiting the Ellora Caves if you are interested in rich Indian history and culture. Contrary to what I had known earlier, this place is HUGE. There are 34 caves with many having A & B, plus there are caves above the waterfall next to cave 29 that no one visits, but I loved the solitude there. Look out for the Ganesh statue in orange in my pictures.
If you are in good shape and want to spend a good 6 hours (not 2 or 3), Ellora is the place to visit, especially if the weather cooperates.

But we noticed a few people carrying mobile phones so we asked them to click our pictures and gave them our contact details so that they could send the pictures to us. Men are supposed to remove the upper body clothes and carry them while entering the temple.
I stayed at a decent hotel nearby and found a couple of good restaurants nearby as well, check my other reviews to know more.

The 12th jyotirlinga temple. This is very close to Ellora caves around 1 km. Queue is less around 3-3:30 pm. There is pay and park service available right outside the temple. Flowers and bel leaves are allowed. Dhatura and banana flower are not allowed. No photography allowed inside the temple. As soon as the queue ends and we enter temple, males need to remove the upper body clothes. i.e., shirt and vest and tie around waist and then only enter. We get to touch the shivling and offer flowers.
Nice sugarcane juice available outside the temple.
This place is just 1 hrs 30 mins drive from Shirdi as there is a new road highway built from Shirdi to Nagpur.

A must visit place, 12th Jyotirlinga of Bhagwan Shiv.
This is another spiritually powerful place for seekers.
As usual Islamist invaders Mughals destroyed this temple multiple time and the this was renovated by different kings and Maratha's. The current form of temple was reconstructed by Ahilyabai Holker ji.
It is located in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra, and a less than 1 Km from Ellora caves, UNESCO World Heritage site.

Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple is an ancient shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, amongst the 12 Jyotirlingas situated all over India. It is also known as Ghraneshwar or Ghushmeshwar Temple.
This temple is about 31 km away from the main city. It is located in a Verul city, a city which is known for a very famous Ellora caves. These caves are just a 1 km away from this temple.
The old temple structure was destroyed by the Delhi Sultanate in 13th and 14th-century. It was re-constructed by Maloji Raje Bhosale, grandfather of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and later again by the Queen of Indore, Ahilyabai Holkar in the 18th century.
This beautiful temple structure is made up of red coloured stones and it is an illustration of Maratha temple architectural style and structure. It has a 5-layered tall shikhara and several pillars which bear intricate mythological carvings. The exterior of the temple also has a carvings and sculptures of many Hindu gods and goddesses on it.
This jyotirling temple is the smallest Jyotirlinga temple in India.
Cameras, Mobiles are strictly not allowed inside the temple premises.
Entry to the Grishneshwar Temple is open to all, but to enter the Garbhagriha, men need to be bare-chested.
The temple opens at 5:30 AM in the morning with the 'Kakad Aarti' and closes at 9:00 PM...

The most devine place I experienced in my life.
Honestly, I was experiencing a divine light in my heart for almost three days. I heared that, a jyotirling touches you at your AAGYAA CHAKRAA if you have a devotion at your heart and, veryfirst time I experienced it at my personal level.
My temple experience was amazing. I was there for two complete days and performed Rudrabhishek also. Honestly I can say this is one among a few places where you may not feel cheated at any level. They allow bhakts to go directly in the garbh-grih to touch the jyotirlinga and perform pooja. For interested devotees, Rudrabhishek pooja is also available which is performed by 11 ved-paathi brahmans for almost an hour. Which gives a total divine experience if you are a true devotee. The crowd is limited and you do not need to wait in a lond queue. Anyone can expect to finish his pooja maximum within 30 mins.
Brahmins are so honest and gentlemen that I felt worthy to touch their feet and also to take their blessings. They do not demand any money at any level. You can stay within the premises and in temple as per your wish.
Outside the temple, flower vendors and mobile lockers are available because leather things like belt, wallet, and mobile phones are not allowed. These vendors charge just 5 Rs to keep these all things safely.
One more tradition, that a male person needs to remove his upper body clothes while darshan. Ladies are not bounded with any such rules and this is because of following the old tradition.
In Ghrishneshwar only any one may find an economic home stay within the range of Rs. 600/- to 1200/-.
Sambhajinagar is the nearest famous city to this place. Along with darshan of Jyotirling, you can also take the darshan of "BHADRA MARUTI" in Khultabaad and world famous heritage site ELLORA. In Ellora, Kailash Temple is made with single stone which is worth watching.
At the last, I would suggest everyone to visit this Jyotirling at least once in life time. Specially who are having LEO as their jodiac sign.
Jai Shree Ram

I have good experience from the temple. No day light robbery with us there. We kept our mobile phones at prashad shop at then entered the temple due to noon aarti we waited there in queue
For 40 minutes, before entered in Garbhgrih we took off our upper clothes of body due to the temple rules which is for male. The day was Crowded but no rush in Garbhgriha, we took good time their.
It's not necessary for male to wear dhoti for worship there but don't wear clothes upper part of body.
Temple opens at 5am, 11:30am to 12:00pm is aarti time, 7:30pm to 8:00pm is evening arti time.

Lots of business, feels less of bhakti, difficult to get in and have darshan. Some people get in through internal links. No way to come out of line once gotten in. No way to see the ancient temple and enjoy architecture.
Do not carry your baggage, phones, gadgets, camera , they do not allow inside and have to be kept at nearby shops for lockers , instead leave at your place or vehicle securely.

Dwarkamai is a sacred destination for devotees of Sai Baba in Shirdi, India. This humble mosque and pilgrimage site was once the home of the revered religious leader, and it continues to draw crowds seeking blessings and fulfillment of their wishes. The temple's atmosphere brims with divine happiness that visitors can feel as they step inside. Dwarkamai houses a rock that Sai Baba used to sit on, making it an important part of his legend.

It was a mosque named by a Hindu Name "Dwarakamai" by Saibaba where Saibaba used to stay. It is a symbol of Hindu Muslim Unity. Saibaba used to spend some time here in their daily routine. They also enlightened a dhuni (a kind of bonfire) which is burning till today. The ashes of this dhuni known as udi is given to devotees as Saibaba's Prasad which he also used to give to his believers then. Some accessories of daily use of Saibaba are kept here. A stone on which he used to sit is also placed here.

SaiBaba's Dhuni is here! The same Dhuni started by Sai Baba is burning here from 183 years approximately. It's a nice experience to see the place where all the miracles (mentioned in Sai Satcharita and Sai leela magazines) took place first hand.
The only draw back is that Dhuni is fully enclosed in steel mesh and we need to struggle to see the embers.

Dwarkamai is the most important place to see by every devotee. In the entrance left side we saw the sai baba cooking place and sai baba's hand resting place on the wall. We observe that 3 feet of one wooden stick of sai baba.
After that we saw the dhuni covered with grills. In the past we touched and some grains were put in the dhuni but we con't touch it.
We saw all the items of sai baba used. Please observe the deepam holes on the wall of dwarkmai. Sai baba lights the lamps with water when no one gives the oil that night.
At last we saw the sai baba sitting stone covered with glass We touched it on the glass and pray for peace of mind.

Dwarkamai :
Dwarkamai is a place where Sai Baba lived until the very end of his life. Before Sai Baba’s arrival in Shirdi, this place used to be a mosque in poor conditions. Later, Sai turned it into Dwarkamai where he started healing, curing ill people. He solved all their problems and helped them with solutions to their worries.
Here at Dwarkamai, there are two levels. Level one has two rooms with Sai’s portrait and a huge rock on which he used to sit. While level two has a square shaped stool made of stone, which Sai is believed to have used for bathing. The highlight of Dwarkamai is an oil painting of Sai Baba in which he is sitting on a wooden carved shrine.

We had reached the temple in early morning. That date was 26/12/2021.
It was very cold environment on that day.
First we searched for washrooms for taking baths and brushes, etc.
After that we get into the row of entry in temple.
That was too much long line for darshan
We reached at entry point but we didn't took entry pass, so guards removed us from this row.
After that we decided to took Mukh Darshan of Sai Mandir....
Mukh Darshan is an another entry into temple less row.
But from mukh darshan you are not Able to see Statue of Sai Baba from near.
We tooked darshan from a distance and purchased some prasad for home.
That was an interesting thing happened with us.
I really enjoyed it.

After getting my blood donation certificate i straight went to gate 02 for vip entry , upon reaching the gaurd said there is no entry from here , you need to go to gate 06 which is a paid darshan gate. Its really disappointing and misleading where on the banner it mentioned FREE VIP ENTRY and the donars are routed to gate 06 .I was on empty stomach and wanted to skip the long queue after the blood donation . Appreciate and request to change the term FREE VIP ENTRY for FREE PAID DARSHAN against BLOOD DONATION . With SAI BABA'S blessings i was able to get through the queue and get his darshan .

Sai Baba’s early years are a mystery. Most accounts mention his birth as a Hindu Brahman and his subsequent adoption by a Sufi fakir, or mendicant. Later in life he claimed to have had a Hindu guru. Sai Baba arrived in Shirdi, in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, about 1858 and remained there until his death in 1918.
At first denounced by the villagers of Shirdi as a madman, by the turn of the century Sai Baba had a considerable following of Hindus and Muslims, attracted by his compelling teachings and his performance of apparent miracles, which often involved the granting of wishes and the healing of the sick. He wore a Muslim cap and for the better part of his life lived in an abandoned mosque in Shirdi, where he daily kept a fire burning, a practice reminiscent of some Sufi orders. Yet he named that mosque Dvarakamai, a decidedly Hindu name, and is said to have had substantial knowledge of the Puranas, the bhagvatgita, and various branches of Hindu thought. Sai Baba’s teachings often took the form of paradoxical parables and displayed both his disdain for the rigid formalism that Hinduism and Islam could fall prey to and his empathy for the poor and diseased.
Shirdi is a major pilgrimage site, and other spiritual figures like Upasani Baba and Meher baba credited the teachings of Sai Baba. In the late 20th and early 21st century Sathya Sai Baba claimed to be his incarnation.

Before heading to the mandir on the street, kindly navigate your way through the situation with a polite deflection from any unnecessary purchases. As I stood in line for Darshan, the sight of Sai Baba's idol filled me with a sense of peace and gratitude. The rhythmic chants during Aarti echoed through the sacred space, creating an atmosphere of devotion that enveloped the entire SaiNagar. The complex was so beautifully well maintained and clean. Very pleased to visit The Dixit Wada Museum. Baba’s robe, clothes, chappals, water pots, grinder and other artifacts are so well conserved. Thanks to Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust for their hardwork and commitment. Next to Samadhi mandir there is Gurusthan, sacred Neem tree, Ganesh mandir, Shani mandir, Shiva Lingam, Nanda deep, Baba’s followers samadhi inside the complex. Also visited Dakshin mukhi Hanuman Mandir, Dwarkamai, Dhuni, Shree Chavadi which are located nearby but outside the complex. Lastly explored nearby sansthan shops to buy Prasad. Purchased some gift items from nearby wholesale shops. At evening we visited the beautiful and picturesque “I Love Saibaba” garden. Om Sai Ram.

Had good dharshan for all the 3 days. We booked for Shej Aarti in advance. We were one of the early birds and waited in line among the first 30 devotees. When we reached the entrance they stopped us for 10 minutes. Once we were allowed inside we were surprised that the hall is jam packed with devotees. But we managed to get a good Dharshan. The guards are breaking the line on their whims. Because of that Late comers in the line are getting priority. Instead of FIFO it is LCFO. At least some senior persons in their hierarchy should supervise line control. Man proposes and God disposes🙏🙏🙏

The core purpose of getting a glimpse of God idol is in question. VIP pass is general practice, so can't argue much. However letting free entry from side and vip entry from front of temple is sign of racist. Place is kept clean and tidy.

Considering the number of visitors visitng this historic place, the place is quite neat and maintained well. Not sure why people are not allowed to go through the gate (were barricaded). The Taj hotels - both the old one and the modern one just opp the gate -look splendid. Good place to take some selfies and snaps of the sea, the gate and the jetty. There were no pigeons when we visited around

Weekends are crowded. They now have the scheme of letting people skip the queue by paying ₹100 when the weekend crowd is large. This is the only Ashtavinayak temple that employs such scheme. Parking is limited considering the size of the crowd on weekend.

The temple is quite old and built around 9th or 10th century. It has a solid rock structure throughout the temple premises that looks like it is built during peshawa tenure. A very very holy place and one of the idols from Ashtavinayaka.. Its believed to be created by Lord Shiva. We started our journey from Wagholi, approx 35kms from Wagholi. Road is good, we can enjoy the ride, lots of Dhabas and petrol pumps one can see while heading there. Inside there are many small temples of Lord Shiva and other Gods also there is a beautiful garden which was there, but unfortunately it was closed at the time of visit. Cleanliness and maintainance could be better. GANPATI BAPPA MORYA...

Ranjangaon Ganpati is one among the Ashtavinayak, celebrating eight instances of legends related to Ganesha. This temple's Ganpati idol was inaugurated and donated by the "Khollam" family, a goldsmith family based in Ranjangaon. The temple was built between the 9th and 10th century. The main temple looks like it was built in the Peshwa period. Nagarkhana is situated above the entrance gate. The temple facing east has huge and beautiful entrance gate.
Madhavrao Peshwa made a room in the basement of the temple to keep the idol of lord Ganesh. Later on Sardar Kibe of Indore renovated it. The idol of these lord Ganesh is also named as 'Mahotkat', and it is said that the idol has 10 trunks and 20 hands.
While going from the Pune - Nagar highway the route is Pune - Koregaon - then via Shikrapur; Rajangaon is 21 km before Shirur. From Pune it is 50 km.
In early 1990s, Govt of Maharashtra established an industrial zone (MIDC) on the land acquired from the nearby villages and the industrial establishment is known as Ranjangaon MIDC. It host many multinational manufacturing companies like Whirlpool, LG to name a few.

One of the Ashtvinayak located near Pune, the premises is right on the highway and has 2 parking spaces. One on the left of entry and one after you go through the main gate.
The premises were under construction when I visited and I didn't like the crowd management queue system.
The way to go to the main temple was very confusing.
After you are done with the darshan, to pick your slippers, you have to go through the security part again and then come back extra.
There is a park in the premises which is nice for kids or families to sit and relax.
On the outskirts, you have a market to buy local stuff like vegetables, eatables etc.

It was nice to watch the preparations. However , coming to Lord Ganapathi ,one cannot take eyes off this Lord, I found it simple yet mesmerizing. It's premises has beautiful paintings narrating the tales of Ganapathi.

One of the lord ganpati in the list of ashtavinayak temples. Maha means big. Many people visit daily. It's situated just near the Pune-Nagar highway so no extra travel is required to reach the temple. Huge parking area but it's paid. A huge entrance area and structure will be identified from the main road. One extra building is added just to manage the crowd. They allow us to skip lanes by paying Rs.100 per person, this is little convenient for rich people. Not a good posture in the temple all should be treated the same. Some of the stone structure and pictorial things made. But disappointed with the management when they are not allowing them to see them and see other things like the garden and entrance part of the main temple. The temple has a big history but manageable is not up to mark. Must visit place with your family members and friends. Avoid the weekend to avoid the rush.

It is a really old and special place dedicated to Lord Ganpati. It's located in a small village and has been around for a long, long time. This temple is so cool that it's even been featured in some Marathi movies!
As one of the Ashtavinayak temples dedicated to Lord Ganpati, Mahaganapati Temple holds a special place in the hearts of devotees. The temple itself is super impressive, with lots of cool carvings and symbols on the walls. When you go inside, you feel really calm and peaceful, like Ganpati's watching over you.
People come to Mahaganapati Temple to pray to Lord Ganpati and ask for his blessings. It's a really important place for them, and you can feel the love and devotion in the air.
Visiting Mahaganapati Temple isn't just about saying prayers; it's also about feeling connected to something special and taking a moment to think quietly. It's a place where you can find peace and feel close to Ganpati.

The caves, known as Trirashmi Buddhist Caves (erroneously known as Pandav Caves) were carved out from the 1st century BCE until the 3rd century CE, with later additions of sculptures.[5] They were paid for by local Buddhist royalty, merchants and local people for the Buddhist monks. The name is derived from the word "Tiranhu" which is inscribed in the Caves.[6][7] It means "rays of sunlight" which is quite obvious referring to the rays of sunlight emerging from behind the Caves as seen from the village. These caves were carved and donated by various kings that ruled Nashik - The Satavahanas, The Nahapanas, The Abhirs. The caves lodge idols of Buddha and Bodhisattva. Some caves are intricately connected by stone-cut ladders that join them to the other caves. Steps lead to the caves from the bottom of the hill. The peak of the Trirashmi Caves is also accessible by trekking of about 20 mins but the path is well built with steps.[8]

Sula Vineyards is nice when visited during monsoons or winters. They have open as well as covered parking. The entry fee for weekends is Rs 1000 per adult. No entry fee for children at least upto age of 13. The fee is a cover charge and can be used to buy food and wine inside. They have a nice path to take a walk around to see the place and click a lots of pictures however if you are visiting with a toddler, I recommend you get your stroller along. They have a golf cart or buggy but that is only for the ones who are staying at their hotel. The tour was okay as all that was showed to us was the storage containers and a lot of theory. We enjoyed the wine tasting but if you are a bigger group then I would suggest that you skip it and enjoy the wine on their terrace restaurant using your coupons at your own pace. Food here is not great. I had their pizzas and cheese platter. Cheese platter being the worst. They have other restaurant too. Overall a scenic place, not much to offer than tasty wines.

Very beautiful place for a day outing. Right from entering the place looks amazing. Completely neat and clean. The restaurant is good, but little expensive. All the wines are sold at MRP, I think if they are prepared there, there should be some discount so that people can buy. Most of the people buys just to cover the charges they have paid at the entrance.
There are cover charges which you need to pay at the time of entry.

Sula wine is often hailed as a must-visit destination, but in my opinion, it falls short of the hype. Their entry fees alone are exorbitant, demanding at least Rs 600 on weekdays and Rs 1000 on weekends, with no exceptions. Although they provide coupons equivalent to the entry fee, the overall cost is still staggering. Paying such a hefty sum for a mere 60 ml wine tasting feels unjustifiable, especially considering the underwhelming quality of their wines. On a positive note, the place boasts picturesque decorations that are sure to entice your camera lens. However, it's worth noting that they charge more than the MRP on their wine bottles. In our case, we ended up paying Rs 1110 instead of the listed Rs 1039 for a single bottle.

But the place is really good specially enjoying the long drive to visit here and an excellent weather will make your mood to love this place 😍

It is just fine. It is better for only wine lovers or those who wish to try wine for the first time. It costs 1000 per head of which you compulsorily need to spend 600 only on wine. A few incharges at the entry gate were arrogant. The place is only picturesque and nothing much. You can have a tour of the factory and the process of wine making. The food is good taste-wise but otherwise the prices were steep.

It's one of the popular and worth the hype kind of one day monsoon gateaway near Mumbai.
Basically a ghat which has a series of waterfalls (small and big) enroute to Pune/Ahmednagar from Murbad/Kalyan.
You can park your vehicle aside on the road and enjoy the scenic picturesque beauty. Also there are multiple photography points to caputure the beautiful landscape of clouds covering the mountains in valley. There are multiple shops for Maggi and Tea/Coffee.
To stayover there are multiple resorts nearby and network over here can be an issue so please carry cash.
Best time to visit is during monsoon and one may start early in the morning to avoid crowd. It might be a dissappointment if it's sunny so better to check weather forecast before heading out to this place.

Must visit place in monsoon. A place is covered by mountains from all 4 sides. There are lot of small stripes of waterfall down from the mountain which creates beautiful scenes. There are lot pf monkeys also, Unharmful though.

This is located on the route from Kalyan to Ahmednagar, little after Murbad.
Please note this road is only 2 lanes through out, one carriage way each side.
Superb place. Amazing ghat road. No traffic like the Mumbai - Pune route. Travelled in Dec... this place would be heaven on earth in the rainy season. The roads have been great for most part.
There are 3 or 4 points where you can wait and take pictures. Clearly marked out, has some parking space and amazing views. You can get maggie / lemon sharbat / tea here. Before and after the ghat there are enough restaurants.

Anyone could fall in love with the amazing views of malshej ghat. Although to reach there it's quite difficult and risky specially in rainy season traveling by road gets more difficult. But with precautions and safety, the nature lovers can come and enjoy this beautiful views of mother nature in all angles. You get to see the roads to heaven which surrounds itself with a greenary of mountains, small waterfalls, rivers throughout the malshej. From tourism management we have photo points everywhere throughout malshej to click pictures and enjoy the best view from best points. also we can have a snacks at top hill point with varities of Maggie, bajji, chai etc.

Great place for one day trip, best time to visit rainy season and winter season, but be careful while driving, roads are risky and be aware of wild animals, best thing to try masala Maggi and boiled corn

Best ghat to visit in any time of year. But it's best when you visit in Mansoon season. A curvy roads and small tiny tunnel in ghat. A nature lover as well as riders both can enjoy the view as well as driving. This ghat connect kalyan to ahmednagar, pune, aurangabad.

Ghat is amazing and also preserved by government of Maharashtra.
Cops are available everywhere and everytime.
Although it's a good place for those who love mountains but also with traffic.
Weekends can be chaotic.

This is a must place to visit in monsoon possibly with your own vehicle. But make sure before visiting that the Ghat is not closed due to landslides. We have visited number of times, but again visited on 1st July-2023. The climate was pleasant, excitement starts the moment you cross Murbad. Taking halt on ghat at various places to enjoy waterfalls and getting wet in it is a common activity. Eating street foods like Bhajias, Maggi, Omelette, corn with tea adds feather to the cap. Final destination is MTDC resort point and having lunch etc at Flamingo Restaurant. We were walking in the clouds and visibility was nothing beyond 15/20 feet. If there are no clouds, you can see a reverse waterfall from here. Overall a experience not to be missed.
Precautions: Do not carry any alcoholic beverages, there is always a Police check and alcohol is not allowed. Be careful when you go under waterfalls and or enter springs as stones are slippery.

Must visit place for nature lovers. All Your fantasies of waterfalls will be met. There is no long Trek to waterfalls as some even drop literally on the road itself cleaning the vehicle for free. Sundays are really crowded. My advice is to avoid it. All kinds of waterfalls are present. There is even a reverse waterfall where due to heavy wind water never reaches the ground but is swept away by wind. Truly mesmerizing scene to watch if you have never seen one before. Some waterfalls have steel barbed wires stopping any stones from falling. My advice is to go to such waterfalls to get wet and enjoy the water. Parking is not an issue for both cars and bikes. A large number of restaurants are available. Roadside eateries selling tea, Maggie, corn and whatnot are plenty in number that too at a very reasonable price. You can't count the total number of waterfalls as there are really too many of them in all shapes and sizes. Kids , old and young everyone will enjoy.

Vallonne Vineyards Pvt. Ltd. is a picturesque winery nestled amidst beautiful mountains and lakes, offering visitors the opportunity to reserve rooms, sample their freshly fermented wines, and indulge in visually appealing cuisine. Guests can also purchase wine bottles of their choice before departing from this must-visit destination. A wine tour followed by a delicious lunch at the hotel is highly recommended for an overall outstanding experience at Vallonne Vineyards Pvt. Ltd.
We stayed at the vineyard for 3 days and had an amazing experience! After having travelled for 3 weeks in India, it was the perfect place to relax. The vineyard is in a beautiful area, full of nature and lakes. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff was very attentive and really going the extra mile. Food in the restaurant is very good. A wine tasting was included in the booking, and we were impressed by the quality of the wines and the knowledge of vineyard staff! All in all, I would definitely recommend this place!

Good food, great outdoor seating. One major problem was that there were lot of flies in and around us (where we were sitting outdoors) and these were also hovering around our food. When we asked the staff to do something about it, we were sent a glass of mint leaves to our table which apparently was supposed to care of the flies problem, but sadly didn't work much.
All they need to do is get a good size fly killing machine and install it outdoors... this will be the end to the flies problem which overall made the entire food experience, I must say Disgusting...

Great food especially Thai food. Would also suggest trying drums from heaven which was good too. On the wines side of things, the dessert wine was amazingly good. The whole wines offering is very premium, may seem a bit costly compared to other wineries but the wines are definitely worth it. Not as fancy but definitely worth a detour to the place when on your way to Nashik or other wineries around.

Title: A Wonderful Experience at Valonne Vineyards
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Valonne Vineyards, and I must say it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The wine, the food, the location, and the staff all contributed to a truly memorable time.
The wine at Valonne Vineyards is simply outstanding. Every sip was a delight to the palate, showcasing the craftsmanship and dedication of the winemakers. From robust reds to crisp whites, their selection catered to a variety of tastes and preferences. It's a paradise for wine enthusiasts.
The food served at Valonne Vineyards perfectly complemented the wine. The flavors were exquisite, and the dishes were expertly prepared. Whether you're looking for small bites to pair with your wine or a full dining experience, the menu offers a satisfying range of options.
Located in a remote but charming setting, Valonne Vineyards provides a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The presence of a nearby lake adds to the enchantment, creating a picturesque backdrop that enhances the overall ambiance. It's the ideal place to unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
What truly sets Valonne Vineyards apart is its exceptional staff. The service was warm, attentive, and friendly, making me feel genuinely welcomed throughout my visit. Nizam, the host, deserves special recognition for his hospitality and knowledge. He went above and beyond to ensure that every guest had a remarkable experience.

Whether you're a wine connoisseur or simply looking for a memorable outing, Valonne Vineyards will leave you with lasting impressions and a desire to return.

The most horrible last 2 kms of road, literally swimming pools to cross, the most weird part to me is that being the home to the brand they don't offer wine by the glass. The food is too expensive for it to be a quick thing. The place small and bland to say the least. The wines itself are really good but then you'd be better off buying a bottle from a store and going to a better, more accessible and happening place

Way towards Vallone Vineyards is so beautiful and serene that it has got mountains and lakes on both sides of the road. Upon reservation they offer rooms to stay, a chance to sip their freshly fermented wines and equally taste their food which is appealing in presentation.
You can buy wine bottles of your choice when you leave. A must visit place !!

The place has two paths to access it, one is the scenic route and another through the highway.
Tucked in a cozy estate with a very pleasant view. Food is over priced for what is available. I say this because the items are lacking some ingredients that are hard to get where they are located but they improvise anyways.
The wines are real tasty, the prices of the wine are above MRP but they let you buy them at MRP or with a discount if you are taking multiple home.
A nice little bonus was that i saw a guava tree full of guavas in the estate and I helped myself to one. It was delicious 😋

Too far to reach, navigating bad roads. The room was too small to even say it was comfortable. The only food option was Malaka spice, too costly and one type of taste. The property itself is very small, with no amenities , activities to do.

An outstanding boutique place for stay plus fnb. Just 4 rooms but a picturesque location facing the mountains and the dam waterbody. During monsoons the place will be breathtaking I imagine.
We had a special dinner meet to celebrate my family member’s birthday and Mahesh made it very very special. Well curated wines mostly dry is their signature collection. We had an engaging conversation with wine taster Prabhakar Kale who too us thru the process of their wine making.
Malaka Spice is the restaurant where we spent the evening. The deck overlooking the water body, Valley plus the sundowning is a moment to treasure with a Chardonnay glass in hand. We had our golden moments and thrilled at this amazing discovery. Great pics to share with and here we go!

Cute boutique winery along a gorgeous setting by a reservoir offering some great views of the vineyard, reservoir and the hills. The last 1km leading up to the property is I paved and a little bumpy. The vintners are passionate and proud about the wines they produce there. They took ample time to explain, answer questions and provide recommendations.
The food at the restaurant was delish too. We sipped some cab sauv with the food and then bought a half dozen bottles to take back. This was my first trip to a winery in India so can’t compare but will definitely be back to this one in the future.

If you are a wine lover and a frequent visiter to different famous vineyards around nashik like Sula or Soma then you must visit this place for an amzing experience. The USP of this place is its fantabulous location unlike other vineyards. It is located on the slopes of the banks of Kavnai lake. You get an awesome view of the dam water and the Kavnai fort range along with the grape plantations on the slopes. They have a nice gallery to enjoy some nice wines with extraordinary food menu along with the view. They have a limited choice of wines but all of them are exotic. And food is something that you should visit this place for.

The road leading to it is rusty. Its a small private place, with worn out name board too. But the food here is great with lots of options. Their wine is also great and the atmosphere and ambiance is very calm and peaceful. They do offer a wine tasting, but we didn’t take that up. People usually come here for the food wine and the peacefulness.

We had a wonderful lunch and tour of the winery in December 2023. The wine tasting by Sanket was exceptional and his passion and knowledge of wine was very evident. We love the South East Asian (plus Indian) food by Malaka Spice. But of course what stands out most is the exceptional wine itself. Visit if you want to try the best Indian wine, and understand the difference between a real boutique winery & the more mass produced wines.

It's one of the underrated Vineyards I'd say.
1. Wine - amazing wine, reasonable price, we tried to varieties of white wine, loved them. Would've loved more if they had sparkling wine too which they don't.
2. Food. Overpriced but great in taste, quantity is decent. We tried 4 dishes, two starters, one noodles and one rice.
3. Ambience - the view is lovely. You get to wine and dine with a lake view and mountains. Even though they have limited seatings
4. Service - amazing service, on time and we'll catered for.
5. Location- outskirts of Nashik, the roads are fine except for last 1 KM stretch.

Very aesthetically created temple. Thanks to very few pilgrims in the early morning, esp during Covid, one way able to spend time admiring the high quality carvings on the facade, the walls, the stairs and doorway. I recently visited the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling Temple in Nashik, Maharashtra, India and it was an incredible experience! The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India.🙏
In Every Jotirlinga you will see only Lord Mahadev but at this place you will see Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh in One temple and in One linga. Such a peaceful place.🌄🛕
The temple is located in a scenic area surrounded by hills and a river, adding to its beauty. You can go with donation queue by paying ₹200 but in this line too you will get a little bit time for darshan rather than general queue.👥👥
The origin of Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga dates back to ancient times. It is believed that the temple was built by the Pandavas during the Mahabharata era. According to Hindu mythology, the Godavari River originates from the Brahmagiri Mountains, and Lord Shiva himself resides in the form of Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga at the source of the river. The temple has undergone several renovations and restorations over the years.
It's definitely a must-visit if you're in Maharashtra and looking for a spiritual and cultural experience! 🙏🏼✨

This temple is one of the Jyotirlinga and Kumbh is also conducted here . Located in the town of Trimbakeshwar must visit place for Hindus and all having faith in the religion. Almost drive of 40 min from Nasik , beautiful highway with good eating places all the way. this temple is situated in the foothills of Brahmagiri hills and it is said that river Godavari originates from here. Very old structure made up of stones and carved intricate sculptures. To have darshan of Linga, mirrors are placed above it on the back of wall to enable devotees to see deity. Thjis temple is always heavily crowded by devotees and you need to stand in queue for long time or you buy VIP pass for Rs 200/- per person to bypass queue. then also you need to wait for almost an hour. You need to Bribe pandits if you wish to perform puja or have clear darshan. Inside also the behave of pandits and caretakers behave is very disappointing as they are rude and keep pushing you. Need to be managed in befitting way. Outside the temple is big market selling all type of items. But the area is not very well maintained. Parking is available but you need to park at some distance and walk almost a KM. local area is very dirty and not pleasing to eyes, as it is famous religious place and historical temple. But you feel divine after visiting this place.

There are ample of stay options near and around the temple. We got affordable option of rs 650/-for a night. Do carry your id cards for stay in a nice place.
There are many varieties of food eateries on the street too and nice restaurants too.
The streets are filled with multiple and affordable shopping options. We need to bargain a bit to get the best price.
Only issue we faced was of mosquitoes. So do carry Odmos Or any other mosquito repellent with you to avoid the mosquito bites. Hope the local authorities look in the matter of cleaning the streets too!!

hat is your experience at Darshan in the Trimbakeshwar Temple?
What is perfect way to visit a Shiva temple and approach the shivling (the technicalities, plase dont say bhakti, etc, that's obvious) as per the scriptures (what to wear, what mantras to chant, order of deities to be worshipped, etc)?
I hear you.
There are, certainly, rules or factors that are dear to God and compatible with the Shiva Puja, especially those that are ritualistic and done in temples or in one’s puja. my answer is going to be long and comprehensive, but please go through it, so, that I can provide all the necessary information and points.
You can do anything in Bhakti, where no rituals are being followed. But no temple visit or ritual worship is exempt from ideal and expected conduct.
Before entering the temple, keep yourself bodily and mentally pure. Head bath and clean clothing. You better not have eaten any profane food at least one or two days before, like meat, intoxicants like alcohol etc. But being on Satwika Bhojana always is best. (Brahmacharya is good too, but optional, be as Satwika/pious in body and mind as possible)
White colour / Subhra Barna/ शुभ्र बर्ण is dear to Mahadeva. So, white clothing and offering of white flowers is good. Dress in ethnic wear if you can, like dhoti or saree. First, offer Namaskara to Nandi Deva with some Bilwa Patra and flowers. State your desire and respect for him and Shiva in his ears.
Strike the bell or Mandira Ghanti. It is like calling bell or doorbell of his house :-)
After bowing down, offer the first prayer to Lord Ganesha. Because Mahadeva has given him the Prathama Pujya (First to be worshipped before any Puja) power. He will take away any hurdles to your worship and make your prayers or intentions successful.
Om Gam Ganapataye Namah
बक्रतुडं महाकायं सुर्य कोटि सम-प्रभम्
निर्बिघ्नम कुरु मे देव सर्ब कार्येशु सर्बदा |
Bakratundam Mahakayam Suryakoti Samaprabham
Nirbighnam Kuru Mein Deva Sarba Karyeshu Sarbada.
I assume you know the meaning of the mantra, if not, put in comments if you do want me to add the meaning. Knowing correct pronunciation as well as the meaning of the Mantra is necessary.
Then proceed first to offer your prayer devotion to Shiva, then Parvati, then both of them together. Start with a Shiva Dhyana Mantra. It does the ice breaking and connecting part.

Knowing the meaning of the Mantras and pronouncing them correctly is always compulsory and more effective and more apt, both for mantra siddhi and for spiritual communication ritually and for maintaining their sanctity.

Nice temple however the people Management in queue requires a lot of improvement. You can find good and average hotels there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I liked the temple but honestly not the queue, maybe due to i visited on 26th January.
