Sarthana Nature Park And Zoo, established in 1984, spans across 81 acres and boasts a reptile house and butterfly park, as well as food kiosks and a pond. However, there are two suggestions for improvement. Firstly, the lone tiger has been without a companion for over a year now according to staff members; it would be ideal if another tiger could be introduced.
The place is awesome . Two suggestions. The Tiger is alone and has no companion. The staff mentioned he is alone since a year. Please get him company.
Second suggestion. Have buggies inside for senior citizens. I had a senior citizen with me and we couldn't walk much. We saw only half of the zoo.
Archana Hemmady — Google review
Whole the park view is beautiful.
Animals care is good too, Well maintained Zoo.
Canteen also available inside the park.
And please arrange buggies or ride anything for elders.
They can't walk too much.
So it's beneficial for them.

We visited this nature park on week day so it was less crowded. We seen so many animals like Lion, white Tiger, crocodiles many more and also different types of birds most disappointing point was they only accept cash payments no online payment so we got into trouble that time but we managed to arrange cash. So they should accept online payments
Pratik Patil — Google review
Not all animals/birds kept as mentioned on the boards... No strict protocols followed by ppl as they keep offering food to the animals and birds... 1.5 -2 hours are enough ...
Overall not a bad place to go...
So much room for improvisation..

Good variety of Animals but still need to maintain it very well. Shed also required for visitors & spectators in too hot weather. Inside canteens are selling on more than printing products still it is government place. Many cages are empty & in fox area labours also working with inside with the animal. Nobody is there to watch visitors activity. Kindly do manage it for safety purpose.

It's the best zoo value for money zoo. It's ticket costs so cheaper than the other zoo's I visited. I suggest you to book your tickets online because to book a ticket offline we have to wait in a very long queue. Otherwise the best zoo.

The Surat Castle was built during the 16th century by Sultan Mahmood III and served as a defensive fortress. Currently, it is undergoing renovations by the government and is closed to visitors. However, it can still be viewed from the side of Heritage Walk in Surat. Parking may be an issue, so it is recommended to hire a cab when visiting.

* Beautifully restored by Surat Municipal Corporation.
* The audio visual history of the castle is very informative.
* Lots of galleries with artifacts -with information- and all galleries are air-conditioned.
* Ground floor is only accessible for the wheelchair.
* About 2 to 3 hrs needed to visit the full Fort.
* Plenty of parking for two/four wheelers and nominal fees for Fort and camera.
Anal Merchant — Google review
The fortress is a renovated version of the centuries old Fort that was built by Kings. You have to take a ticket for entry (100/person). There are securities everywhere to direct you through the fort. You will be initially given an orientation of what you are going to see and the history behind it and they also walk you through the intense renovation process through a video, projected in an audiovisual room. There are a lot of exhibits and you walk through the different areas of the fort that was meant for specific purposes. Very picturesque for photography enthusiasts too.
PS: Be ready to walk and climb a lot of stairs. May not be comfortable for elderly with walking difficulties. Not very wheelchair friendly acc. to my observation.

Most interesting things to see in Surat : Surat Castle. It has many important history and data preserved in itself. The main thing about it is that Castle has an audio visual presentation of history and restoration. So we don't need any further guidance. Security guides us the way door to door. How Surat is and was prosperous we can imagine after watching the castle. Also you will find remains of history - coins, Notes, idols of Hindu deities, postage stamps, ivory jewellery from the museum. One must visit the Castle while in Surat.

It's not maintained in a proper way. It doesn't look like a castle now because of bad reconstructions. It should be maintained seriously by our authorities to protect our heritage.

A fortress on the banks of the Tapi river. Wonderful Experience. Excellent display of Surat's history & vintage artifacts. There is a short movie screening too which gives insight of Surat's castle's history and city's waterway trade and textile industry.

Recently I explored the Surat fort, and wow!
This 16th century gem is seriously underrated. The short film was good - it gives you a real feel for Surat's rich history.
The fort itself is undergoing some renovations, but most of it is open for exploration. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you are a history buff.
Only the entrance and visual gallery are wheelchair accessible.

This is an old palace built on the river side. This is currently under renovation by government and hence closed for visitors. One can view this from side of heritage walk surat. There is issue of parking once vehicle so suggest to hire a cab. Nearby attractions include heritage walk, Riverside and fun rides.

Visited Oct, 2022 and work done is really good. All the rooms are air-conditioned so it feels less tiresome.
For an average person it would take ~2hrs to finish. Around 4hrs if go through everything in details.
The only issue I felt was the sequence of the points to visit which is little confusing as well as make us walk more. It would be nice if they keep directional arrows for transitions.

Not usually a fan of museums, but this one is really well structured and the fort is restored and maintained so amazingly well. I would go as far to say the best restoration project seen in India.

A great castle for the tourists to visit. The credit goes to Surat Municipal Corporation for an immaculate renovation work to keep the spirits and detailings of this fourteenth Century fort. I recently visited the renovated Surat Castle, and I must say, the transformation is truly impressive. The Surat government has done an excellent job of preserving the historical significance of the castle while adding modern amenities for visitors to enjoy.
One of the standout features of the castle is that all rooms are centrally air-conditioned, providing a comfortable environment for exploring the various sections of the castle. Additionally, each section has its own guide who offers valuable insights into the history and significance of the castle, making the visit both educational and engaging.
Upon entry, visitors are treated to a 20-minute short film that beautifully narrates the history of the fort/castle, setting the stage for an immersive experience. The shift of artifacts from Sardar Patel Museum to the castle adds to the richness of the collection and provides a comprehensive view of the region's cultural heritage.
However, one minor issue I encountered during my visit was the lack of drinking water points throughout the castle. There is only one water point, which requires visitors to walk quite a distance to access it. This could be inconvenient, especially on hot days, and I hope the management considers adding more water points in the future.
Overall, exploring the entire castle takes about 2 to 3 hours, and it's time well spent. The free parking facility and easily available tickets at the counter make the visit hassle-free. The only downside is that they only accept cash for ticket purchases, as card or UPI options are not available.
In conclusion, the renovated Surat Castle is a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts and tourists alike. With its rich history, informative guides, and modern amenities, it offers a delightful experience that showcases the best of Surat's cultural heritage.

I have visited it recently. Selfies and self video is not permitted. When you enter you will be shown a documentary about this fort and historical importance of it. How SMC restored it needs a huge round of applause. One can visit with family and friends. And it will be very beneficial for students if any educational institution arrange tour of this fort. Must visit.
Gopi Talav is an man-made body of water located in a vibrant park-like environment, complete with food stands, merchants and recreational areas. It's an ideal spot for families to spend time together, but entrance fees apply: 20 dollars per adult and 10 dollars per child. Patrons are prohibited from bringing outside food into the premises to maintain its cleanliness and serenity. This is a breathtakingly beautiful location where visitors can relax and appreciate the scenery in a tranquil setting.
Excellent spot developed by SMC. This offers all what required for family to spend quality time together. Good and big parking area with reasonable charge (for scooter rs 10 and for car rs 20.). Good process for entry with proper checking and frisking. Entry charge rs 20 per head is reasonable. Well maintained lawns, children park, Chatushmukhi well, children play area, toy train, boating facilities. Proper safety measures are taken care off. Nice photo points created while you walk to boating deck. Good seatouts and amphi theaters created at many places. Big fountain and statue of Rajhans are clear landmarks created. All other fountains are also excellent. Nicely illuminated garden and entire area. Good eating zone. Though zippers line and boating high, looking at maintenance and overall experience it's okay. We enjoyed evening here. Must visit place in Surat for relaxation charges are little and recreation.

My recent visit was a complete disaster, riddled with uncleanliness, broken facilities, and the pathetic state of the food court. It was honestly one of the worst spots I've ever been to.
Swings creaked ominously, slides had cracks running down their surfaces, and the whole place felt like an accident waiting to happen.
Only a handful of stalls were open, offering a limited selection of unappetizing edibles.
Seriously, the only positive takeaway from this experience was leaving.
Frankly assigning it one star is too much.

As a tourist attraction this place should offer more during the day. It seems to be more of a hangout spot at night. At the time of my visit there were very few people except staff and other visitors. There is no food available inside the park. The ambience is good with all the trees but the lake needs to be cleaned regularly. The boats don't look safe and I wouldn't venture out in them. There seems to be no safety and security arrangements. The zipline also seems to be non-functional. Honestly I would advise you to avoid this place but again it all depends when you visit it. There is an entrance fee and there are washrooms inside.

I recently visited Sri Ambika Niketan Temple, and it was an enchanting experience. Located on the banks of the Tapi River, this beautiful temple dedicated to Adhya Shakti Ma Amba exudes a divine ambiance.
The idol of Ambe Maa is truly captivating, radiating a sense of peace and happiness. The temple's also houses idols of many other Gods and Goddesses.
Situated on the bank of the Tapi River, the temple is not only spiritually uplifting but also very clean.
Before entering the temple, a small bazaar offers a delightful array of items, including Prasad, flowers, Chunari, and various Pooja essentials.
Overall, Sri Ambika Niketan Temple is a must-visit for its divine atmosphere, serene surroundings, and the opportunity to immerse oneself in the spiritual heritage.

Ambika Niketan Temple is one of the most prominent pilgrimage places of Surat city. It is located on the banks of the River Tapi and was built by the devotee of the Goddess, late Smt Bharati Maiya. The two-storied structure, built in the year 1969, houses the idol of Ashtabhuja Ambika – an avatar of Shakti. Goddess Ambika has ashtabhuja, meaning eight hands, and is seen looking graceful in a beautiful sari, smiling sweetly to bless all her followers.
In this temple you can also find mini shrines that are dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Rama, Goddess Sita and Laxmi Narayan. A lot of worshippers visit this place of pilgrim all across the year but it is seen that the temple is mostly crowded during the Hindu festival of Navratri. The celebrations of the Navratri are conducted with great fervor.

Astonishing temple with lots of devine vibes located on the river bank of the river Tapi. Beautifully carved and gold-plated walls of garbhgriha, peaceful looking, ashtbhuj (eight hands) idol of Mata Ambika is the main attraction. There are few other temples nearby, you start with shree Ganesh temple at the entrance. There is one fascinating room full of ancient and traditional furniture such as sofas, bed, chairs, tables, mirrors, chandelier and few other items, one can't get enough of it. One point I didn't like was the location of the main temple, it is on the first floor. So it becomes nightmare for old or handicapped people who cannot climb the stairs. A ramp should be installed for that reason.

Dumas Road, Parle Point Flyover, Athwalines, Surat, Gujarat 395007, India
Visit this beautiful peace place and make yourself relaxed and happy. It took a long hour to reach there but it was worth it. The bad part was the roads to reach there were horrible i don't know why so although many people come there regularly there is still that needs to be improved. Best time i would recommend at sunset hours. Let the magical waves touch your feet and give you the vibes

Just awesome , the beach was well maintained . Beach is the place you never get bored or upset the waves of the sea always keeps you alert and busy. The sunset was beautiful as I am a sunset lover loved the beautiful sunset at Suvali beach .
Clean and peaceful atmosphere.
Do visit with your family and friends and enjoy the beautiful beach and evening.
So many types of activities are there on the beach so kids are also well enjoyed.
Highly recommended ✨

The serene ambiance of the clean, beautiful beach in the early morning was truly breathtaking. The gentle sound of waves lapping against the shore created a soothing melody while the absence of crowds allowed for an intimate connection with nature. The stillness of the morning added a sense of tranquility, making it a truly memorable experience.

24km away from Surat City centre, safe place to visit with family. Decent crowd, clean beach, parking is free, variety food options available, food is hygienic and reasonable rates. I don't recommend to swim here, high tides and very risky. 3-4 hour can be spent here. Connectivity is good. Visit during weekends or festival only.
Yash Sep — Google review
Beautiful place to spend time with family. Better than Dumas beach as it's more clean and have better views.
Eateries are good for snacks . Camel and horse ride for kids . Evening well spent on this beach . Little far from city but if someone have time must visit once.

It's a beautiful beach around 20 kms from Surat. People come here with their families to enjoy.
You can buy some snacks, water, tea, wafers, maggi, soft drinks etc. Proper restaurants are not there for lunch or dinner.
You can enjoy camel rides, bike rides and some other activities for. Kids.
But, one must keep in mind to remain in limits when enjoying in the ocean, in the past there have been big incidents where people were drowned in the sea.
Also Police will vacate the place immediately after Sunset, so make plans accordingly.
Overall a fun place if you love the waters.

Nice and clean beach after beach festival.
Must visit for quiet time. Away from.vhaos of city.
On weekends activities are available when I visited.
Be Aware as the beach is believed to be dangerous. Follow the instruction given by local authorities.

Best beach in Surat. The vibe of the place is next level. This beach is not as crowded as Dumas also the beach is bigger than Dumas. The sea breeze, the seawater, everything is just so good. I visit this beach atleast twice a month and always enjoy this place. Tea and sweet corns are available as snacks.
Important:
The beach has strict timings in the evening, it closes between 6 to 7p.m. depending on the tides. So I'd suggest reach the place well before time or it will spoil everything.

Good place to spend the evening,
Need to take care few things before you visit this beach
1)over crowded during weekends so try to park your vehicle little bit far from beach ( don't go at parking area as it's one way so you will stuck in traffic)
2) Beach is little bit dangerous as during the heavy ways
3) if you ha ld removed your shoes or anything try to check frekantky as during heavy ways and this sea water cover the sand area from round
Water is dirty so take care this also .
Food stalls are available.

Nice beach atleast for Surat
It is a small beach in Hazira & one of the hot destination for people of Surat. It is a kind of long drive as it is 25-30 KM from the city center. The beach is much better than Dumas which is soiled now. One can get some evening snacks to enjoy with family at the beach. Also there are horse riding, beach bike, etc for fun. There were also many facilities of photo shoot which would be chargeable. But the problem is sometimes you can't able to see water..
But beware this is a risky place as it has witnessed many deaths due to drowning. So be utmost attentive not to go deep in the sea even when there's a low tide. BEWARE

VR Mall is the name very popular among the locals and we better know it by this name only. The location of this place is pretty easy to find and has became landmark of that area over the past 12 years since its construction.
Temperature monitoring is done at the entrance as well as hand sanitisation process is followed thereafter.👍
There are a lots of discount rates as well as numerous sales available here periodically. Today, I went to avail such offer. There were reasonable rates among the clothing as well as other accessories for both men and women. Also, kids wear section too had huge offers and discounts. Particularly, all formal wears as well as casual wear offered hefty discounts. This include huge brands like Van Heusen, Turtle, Peter England, Raymond and many more.❤️💕
Though the prices were low, the quality of the products are never compromised. To shop at this mall at such a sale event turns to be fruitful in saving money whereas availing the best goods you might possibly think of.
A nice place to shop for your choice of wear. A multitude of clothing options for all genders and genres.
Ethically following covid norms and a pleasant ambience adds to your shopping experience.🛒🛍️👍

: A Luxurious Shopping Experience at VR Mall with Price Considerations
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Elegant Shopping Environment ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️:
VR Mall offers an elegant and sophisticated shopping environment. The layout is well-designed, and the overall ambiance is upscale, providing a pleasurable and luxurious experience for shoppers.
Diverse Retail Options ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️:
The mall houses a diverse range of high-quality retail outlets, offering a variety of premium products. The selection caters to different tastes and preferences, providing a broad spectrum of options for shoppers seeking luxury and exclusivity.
Customer Service Excellence ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️:
The customer service at VR Mall is commendable. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to assist. Whether it's providing information about products or helping with inquiries, the level of service contributes positively to the overall shopping experience.
Price Considerations ⭐️⭐️⭐️:
While VR Mall provides a luxurious shopping experience, it's essential to acknowledge that the prices may be on the higher side, making it less accessible for the middle class. The premium nature of the products and the overall ambiance contribute to the elevated pricing, limiting affordability for a broader range of shoppers.
In conclusion, VR Mall offers a delightful and luxurious shopping experience, earning a four-star rating. However, it's important to note that the higher prices might be a limiting factor for middle-class shoppers. For those seeking a premium experience, VR Mall is an excellent choice, but budget-conscious consumers may find it less accessible.

Dumas Beach is a lively urban beach that boasts a diminutive Hindu temple and a walkway lined with refreshment stalls. It's an ideal destination for leisure and creating unforgettable memories during vacations. A plethora of outdoor activities, such as horseback riding, cycling, camel riding, and gaming stations for children, are on offer. However, the area is notorious for having vast amounts of mud littering the shorelines and generally unclean beaches.

Good place but sometimes you'll encounter some classless idiots as an exception. Food is not upto the mark and very high priced, so purchase at your own risk. For food just select the popcorns they are good.

Rajhans cinema , Navsari is a great place to catch a movie. The theatre is well-maintained and has comfortable seats. The sound and picture quality are excellent. A good place to bring your family and friends to watch a movie.

The only thing I don't like which the price of the food is bit high. Not so pocket friendly.😮💨But kya kare lena padta hain…

all over no complains about the theatre but today they literally crossed their line. We asked if they have seats at the back but they clearly refused and gave us tickets on the front seat and when we complained to the manager they didn’t even except and behaved in a really wrong way. The name of the manager was Ajay Surti, i request the authorities to take some strict action against the rude attitude of the manager and irresponsible of the ticket counter staff.

Good theatre with 3 screens. Cleanliness and ambience all good. Parking is available for free with more space. Easy to find the theatre as it is located beside the road. U can notice in traffic also. Service is good. Cost is also ok ok. U can have good time here. Not far from Navsari. On the way to bilimora. Overall satisfied.

Great cinema hall, little bit small screen and less leg room but great ambiance. Washroom is clean. Food was tasty, little bit of trouble as to where exactly should I put my coldrink, but it was adjustable. All and all it was good, location wise and everything. Great experience will visit again. Nice place where it will be fun to visit if you reach early in the morning. And there is also a famous place for the Salt Satyagraha of Mahatma Gandhi, so you can also see the museum related to Gandhiji here. Along with this, you can also visit the Samarpan Ashram here, which will be found between Dandi Beach and Museum. One special thing here is that you will get entry only in full Indian dress, otherwise you may have to stay outside.

Dandi Beach offers a serene escape with its golden sands and soothing waves. The pristine shoreline invites you to unwind and relish nature's beauty. While the beach lacks bustling activities, its tranquility is a refreshing break from urban life. Sunset paints the sky with hues of orange and pink, casting a magical spell. The cleanliness and simplicity add to the charm, making Dandi Beach an ideal spot for those seeking peaceful moments by the sea. Dandi Beach in India is a serene coastal stretch located in the state of Gujarat. With its expansive shoreline along the Arabian Sea, the beach offers black & brown sands against the backdrop of a tranquil sea. Dandi holds historical significance as the site where Mahatma Gandhi led the Salt March in 1930, a pivotal moment in India's fight for independence.
Visitors can appreciate the scenic beauty, engage in water activities, and explore the memorial dedicated to the Salt March, all while enjoying the sun & waves and sea water on this historically rich beach.
The bustling scene encompasses a plethora of recreational options, including Trampoline for kids, horse & camel excursions, and bike/buggy rides. However, the introduction of horse and camel riding businesses on the beach has resulted in an undesirable accumulation of dung and filth along the shore.

Dandakvan Ashram Vansda is a temple campus and an excellent landscaped garden. Dandakvan is the idea of Yogiraj Maharshi Sadguru Sadafal Deo Ji Maharaj, who revived the knowledge of Brahmavidya after hundreds of years, and established Vihangam Yoga.
Since my hometown is Vansda, I frequently visit this place. I’d like to give 10/10 points to the organization for maintaining garden. Even after years, the place feels like it was just opened.
Their temple is magnificent too. Made of bright white marble, it looks marvellous.
Dandakvan is severely underrated place in my opinion. Worth a visit on a Dang circuit tour.
“This Dandakvan Ashram is the Sadguru’s abode. Its importance is immeasurable. Those men and women who pine for God, when they come here, in this Dandakvan, when they behold this ultimate holy place or stay here, they will be entitled to Bhakti (devotion) and Mukti (liberation).”
Accommodation facility is perfect with furnished rooms. The ambiance is adorned with natural beauty, wonderful Park and a gigantic water fountain. Food is vegetarian and satvic yet pretty tasty. People at the ashram are very simple, reliable, helpful and knowledgeable.
If you want to know something or attend a Satsang, you need not worry. Vedic Yajnas are conducted here and one can attend them. It’s a great place to meditate and learn for sure. Modes of communication are phone, mobile, internet (no Wi-Fi), whereas conveyance is not an issue since town is nearby. Basically, it’s a place well-connected but still an ashram where you can experience and learn a lot, a sort of place that can help you evolve as a person and realize your goal.

Gira Waterfalls is a stunning natural wonder located in Gujarat's hill station. This picturesque waterfall is most active during monsoon season, with a large flow of water that attracts visitors from all over. However, it is advisable to visit after monsoon season, preferably in October when the rain has subsided and the waterfall can be enjoyed fully. The area also boasts a shopping market where visitors can purchase unique local crafts and artifacts made of wood.

Wilson hill is a superb place for outing for a short picnic. Wilson Hills is a hill station near Dharampur Tahsil. Wilson Hills stands in a densely forested region. Just 120 kms from Saputara. Best time to visit in monsoon. Don't go in couple. make enough group of 8-10 people. Keep your food ready with you. Don't forget to have camera or smart phone with good MP camera with you. The beauty starts from the road to Wilson hill. Its little bit adventures type outing so not suitable for aged people.
Very good outing place with friends and family. May get bored if you go in couple. Height of the place, scenery, peacefulness are enjoyable.
Don't forget to take your own snacks and water. There is only one restaurant and some private properties.
Best place to enjoy sunset and monsoon beauty.
Road is curvy but good for driving.
Nearby: Barumal (mainly Shiv) temple. Food is available here also.

Review: Willsion Hill - A Captivating Journey Through Time and Nature
Rating: ★★★★☆
Nestled amidst rolling hills and lush greenery, Willsion Hill offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This hidden gem, located in the heart of the countryside, provides visitors with a captivating journey through time and nature. During my recent visit to Willsion Hill, I was enthralled by its rich history and breathtaking landscapes.
One of the most impressive aspects of Willsion Hill is its historical significance. As I explored the area, I discovered remnants of an ancient civilization that once thrived there. The well-preserved ruins and artifacts provided glimpses into the lives of those who inhabited the hill centuries ago. It was fascinating to imagine the stories and events that unfolded in this very place long before our time.
The nature surrounding Willsion Hill is nothing short of spectacular. The hill offers panoramic views of the countryside, with rolling hills stretching as far as the eye can see. Hiking trails wind their way through the hills, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty of the natural landscape. The air is crisp and refreshing, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect retreat for nature enthusiasts.
The staff at Willsion Hill were friendly and knowledgeable, offering guided tours that provided valuable insights into the history and ecology of the area. Their passion for the hill was evident, and their willingness to share their knowledge enhanced the overall experience.
However, there were a few areas that could be improved upon. The signage and information boards throughout the site were somewhat lacking, making it difficult to fully understand the significance of certain areas and features. It would be beneficial for the management to invest in clearer and more informative signage to enhance the educational value of the visit.
Additionally, the amenities at Willsion Hill were limited. There was only one small café on-site, which often resulted in long queues and limited food options. Expanding the dining facilities and providing more food choices would greatly enhance the overall visitor experience.
Despite these minor drawbacks, Willsion Hill is a destination that I highly recommend to anyone seeking a unique and enriching experience. Whether you are a history enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply someone looking for a tranquil escape, Willsion Hill will not disappoint. Its blend of rich history, breathtaking landscapes, and warm hospitality make it a place worth exploring. I left Willsion Hill feeling inspired and rejuvenated, with a newfound appreciation for the wonders of the past and the beauty of the natural world.

Recently we visited on 16/06/2023. It’s quite near from surat take 3 hrs to reach and from vapi take 2 hour. Way to wilson hill is amazing and very beautiful.
The climate was amazing with frequent rains and clouds at the top. Wilson Hill is slowly turning in a tourist hotspot for a one day picnic. A perfect 1 day trip to the place would make your memory worth of it.
In my humble opinion. this place is best during winter and Monsoon. Monsoon is the best time to visit and experience green mountains and frequent rains.

The drive to the place is just mind blowing.
Quite steep but great to drive.
It isn't as busy as other places and exactly why it is brilliant.
Is being maintained quite well with a great walking path around the edge and ample space for kids to play and families to relax.
The views were supposed to be great but we didn't see anything due to clouds.
Sshhhhh..... don't tell others, otherwise crowd will spoil this wonderful beach also, it will loose it's peace and beauty.
Amazing experience here, only explorer people know about such hidden gem.

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, Udvada is a town in the Valsad district of Gujarat, India, and it is renowned for its significant Parsi community and religious importance. While Udvada is not primarily known for a beach, it is in close proximity to the Arabian Sea, and there are coastal areas nearby. Please note that developments or changes may have occurred since my last update.
If you are specifically looking for information about a beach in or around Udvada, consider checking recent travel resources, local tourism websites, or updated travel guides for the latest details on any newly developed beach destinations in the area.

Unfussy rooms, some with sea views, in a casual resort with 2 restaurants, a cinema & a water park.
The resort is extremely beautiful. Parking is ample. Staff is considered to be more co-operative. Moreover, kids will love it. Water games and slides are great fun and full of entertaining. Toy trains and paddle boats are another alluring for enjoyment. It's thrilled and Devka beach is closed down.

And please don't even get me started on the food quality here , I mean if not for the water park or the fun activities then you should definitely stay here for the food they serve , for real if it were possible I would eat it for days.
Would definitely love to stay here on every trip to Daman , kudos to the Mirasol team for making our trip so amazing :)

We have been here in April'23. Only room is OK. Service is ordinary. The house keeping enters to clean your room in your absence without intimation. Hair dryer is on request so ensure you get one at the earliest. The restaurants bills need to be cleared in there itself. It cannot be added to the final bill. Pl carry cash if you go to the Waterpark they don't take online payments.

Roof top for breakfast is huge and it's another great experience to enjoy dishes and listen to live music. One point food menu is not so budget friendly. Devka Beach is a picturesque shoreline with numerous food stalls, bars, and options for camel or horse-riding. Visitors can also find shops and hotels in the vicinity. However, it's important to note that the area is currently undergoing significant construction work as part of a smart city project - leading to high pollution levels and dust that may not be suitable for tourists. As such, it may be better to avoid visiting Devka Beach until construction work is completed by June 22nd.

Devka Beach is one of the very famous beaches in Daman it is very beautiful and serene. We visited during the sunset but couldn't witness it as it was very cloudy.
People were sitting there and having drinks openly near the beach.

Similar to the Marine drive in Mumbai - it has got a road and walking path along the sea shore. That are actually better than Mumbai's Marine drive.

Standing tall and imposing, the Fort of St. Jerome is a must-see for anyone visiting Daman & Diu. With its gateway adorned with a towering statue of St. Jerome, the fort provides an excellent view of the city skyline and sunset. The fort also overlooks the Damanganga River, giving it a royal finishing touch.
Fort of St Jerome, Nani Daman is situated on the bank of Daman Ganga river. It is a small fort with high and elegant stone walls, three bastions and two huge gateways. It houses many government offices, bom Jesus church and a hospital. Very huge and runs miles. many good photo ops on every gate. Flowers are also maintained adding to beauty. You can walk on upper walls to have a look out side. It bears a light house also.

Located towards the River Damanganga, St. Jerome Fort is an ancient citadel that gives detailed insights into Daman's rich colonial history. Built by Portuguese.
A huge statue of St. Jerome welcomes visitors at the entrance, which also has two large human figurines on either side.
Premises used as a school at present times, is another important attraction within the fort complex. From the fort, you can view beautiful surroundings that are characterised by a river, lush greenery and fishing boats docked along the riverside. Good attractive beach you can view from here.
Dislike - not maintained by local authorities. Required immediately action. School is inside well maintained.

On the Confluence of Damanganga river, this fort in Nani Daman is named after St.Jerome. Started in 1614 AD, by the 12th Portuguese Viceroy of India, Dom Jeronimo de Azevado it got completed in the time of Dom Franciso de Gama in 1672 AD. The small fort with a giant gateway facing the river with a large statue of St.Jerome and two giant human figures, on either side of the gateway.
The area has ongoing construction activities. Future looks brighter.

As we enter the complex of Daman Fort of St.Jerome you shall first notice the opulent gateway facing the river with a large statue of St. Jerome who was one of the most renowned priests of the Catholic Church. St. Jerome, who was born Eusebius Hieronymous Sophronius, was the most scholarly of the Fathers of the Western Church. He was born about the year 342 at Stridonius, a small town at the head of the Adriatic. The principal building inside the fort is the impressive Church of Our Lady of the Sea. This Catholic Church is one of the earliest seats of office and has an excellent altar with superb paneling. The ramparts are a good place from which to take a clear view of the fish market and small fishing fleet which anchors alongside.

The Basilica of Bom Jesus is a centuries-old Catholic church located in the city of Daman, on the coast of Goa, in India. The architecture and decorative features of the church are reminiscent of the Portuguese style, and it is considered one of the holiest places in Daman. The church is very peaceful and serene, with excellent preservation of its architecture. It is not too crowded during the day.
Located inside the Moti Daman Fort area and is easily locatable. There are ample place to park the vehicle in and around the church, though during Mass it can be filled to capacity.
The church was completed in 1603 and is a masterpiece of intricate design across the door and the altar. There are 5 churches which should be seen too if you are in Daman and the list is available inside the church premises. Exquisite Roman style architecture is evident and brilliant engineering artistry of the Portuguese is demonstrated.
The main feature of the church is its painted an gilt wooden altar reredos and pulpit. The richly carved main south door with the elevated facade, lofty ceiling, embellished with the statues of six saints are aesthetic and pleasing.
There is a board stating Photography is prohibited inside the church premises though pictures taken with mobile phone are allowed. However, would request to seek permission before going on a rampage with your phone

It was established in the year of 1603 which is around eight decades ago and still it's looking tremendous and beautiful with all their statue and seating facilities. Must visit this places with your family, friends and your loved ones. We were seated here for a long time and felt so relaxed with their peaceful atmosphere. One more important thing is that they are still maintaining this church from the indoor side and maybe it's quite difficult to renovate it from the outside wall and gates. Here you can find Bom Jesus church with Rosario church. You can feel as if you are in French colonies, Portugal ancient buildings. Domominican monastery is there. When visiting this beach for water sports, it's crucial to thoroughly inquire beforehand as the availability of such activities can be unreliable or even closed. Nonetheless, this beach offers an idyllic ambiance to relish the cool breeze and create joyful memories with loved ones. Awesome place and very clean place
You can ride a horse here and take a camel ride. You can also enjoy a sand bike ride here The road side of Jampore Beach is very beautiful You must come and enjoy this place . Here drinks are available at a very cheap price 😉 .

» The sand color at Jampore Beach is grey or black. There are plenty of options to explore if all you want to do is enjoy the sea and its weather or the sunset. The development of the beach is now finished. moreover, it is lovely for walking and setting.
» The beach gets extremely crowded over this holiday, so if you are traveling with family, you might locate some quiet spots away from the main activity or entrance area.
» Though there are many of possibilities, I don't like to engage in water activities here. Beachside activities include Bagga Gadi, GTV for youngsters, and hourse riding.
» Public spaces, pay and use toilets are good, and you must follow to all traffic laws to avoid receiving a ticket immediately.
» Parking is easily accessible and appropriate for vehicles with two or four wheels.

You can enjoy drinking and having sea food on the beach arranged by local shops on the beach. Prater sports activities are also available on the beach with Camel and horse ride for kids. This beach is certainly better than Devka beach at Daman. It is very close to Moti fort so that is plus point for this beach.

Nakshatra Van is an attractive riverside garden, adorned with trees associated with the zodiac signs and featuring a variety of medicinal herbs. This well-maintained garden boasts abundant plantations and offers a delightful play area for children. To enhance its appeal to kids, various plants are cleverly cultivated on animal skeletons made from wire mesh. Additionally, there is a dedicated section where children can enjoy slides and swings in a sand-filled ground.
Nakshatra Van is a must visit place if you love nature. This garden is well maintained and it has many varieties of plants and herbs. It has plants based on Nakshatra (Constellation), zodiac signs, and Nine planets also called as Nav grah. As of now entry is free in the garden but possibly they will include tickets in near future. You will need minimum 3-4 hour to explore each and everything in this garden as it's so big. I personally loved this place.

The Tribal Cultural Museum in Silvassa exhibits a diverse collection of historic tribal artifacts, artworks, and modern works. The museum showcases the traditional lifestyle of different tribes residing in Dadra and Nagar Haveli through their daily use items, agricultural tools, weapons, culture and traditions. It is located at the entrance to the collectorate and maintained by the government with old photographs adding to its charm.
A great place to visit in silvasa. A good collection of local tribes and their life style is well crafted here. Their tradition , culture, agricultural tools and weapons can be seen here. Must visit if you are interested in knowing about tribal life style back in days.

This is pretty good place to get insights into local tribalism. Good way to preserve the forgotten people, their rich culture, their clothes, etc. Parking is not available. Bought lot of tribal item's. Warli paintings are good..

The museum place/land is under re-deveopment may be. No museum or building or anything there. No sign board to directive board to new or temporary place by official. It's under list of DDN tourist place but from locals nobody know where it is. If it is still important (I believe it displays local culture, heritage n life) tourist attraction for the place then somebody from responsible authority should take care of it as it may mislead to many tourist who come from far distance. Thanks.

This lake is known as 'Dal lake of Gujarat' or 'Kashmir of the West'. It is visited by local as well as other tourists from different parts of the country. The wooden boats on this lake resembles the Shikara boats of Dal lake in Kashmir. The boat ride costs Rs. 400 per hour. There are some watersport activities like boating etc. in this lake. Also, this lake is surrounded by small hills which makes this place beautiful and serene. Near this lake, there are some small tea and snacks stalls as well as dhabas in which lots of tasty non veg as well as veg items are available.
This beautiful lake is ideal for families, couples as well as friends. The view from top view is most attractive and trees around the road add tranquillizing effect. It is a must visit and should not be missed.

Total worth spending money for tickets here. If you've never seen deer and want a great experience this is the place for you. You just have to take in the ticket and just beside the main gate there's a waiting area where you'll be waiting for your bus and there's not much rush in there, the bus will take you inside the jungle which is not more than 5 min of travel. You'll get a lot of deers here and with a distance of 10-15 meter. When we got here at 11:30 am we got a great view. The bus driver will stop at specific point for 2-3 min meanwhile you can get up and take as many picture you want silently and remember if you're in a group so sit opposite to each other so your group can get right and the left side of the bus windows. The whole trip from getting into the bus to coming back for about 20-25 minutes and had amazing experience.
