I took my eleven year old son and we both loved it. His favorite exhibit was the otters and I loved the sea turtle. The feeding experiences were a little pricey ($5 for three carrot peels for the turtles) but the exhibits were beautiful. They also have a top notch playground outside.

What a fun experience! We have been before but it always seems fresh and clean. The kids loved the multiple tunnels that took them into viewing areas inside exhibits. The VR shark dive experience (additional $10/person) was a hit! They even took a ride on the carousel which was very nice and spacious for adults to be with their kids (additional $3/person).

This Aquarium has stepped it up over the last couple years!
I cannot believe how amazing it is now! Literally not only do they have so much more here now, but the vibe is so spot on.
Is extremely clean, and the blue led's everywhere really sets the mood! All the attractions here we're really cool! We had a blast!
The shark tunnel is a MUST SEE! Was so cool to see the sharks swim over you!
Overall we had an amazing time here today and will definitely be back!

I had a fantastic time at the Oklahoma Aquarium! The building itself is impressive, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The highlight for me was definitely the mesmerizing shark exhibit. It was a thrilling and educational experience. Highly recommend a visit!

Very good for a family outing!! So much to look at and participate in! Very many opportunities to touch some different kinds of water life!! The staff is nice and friendly very well educated and always willing to help! The shark tunnel is a must! Highly recommend! Two thumbs way up!!

My family has come here at least once a year for a while now and it never disappoints. It may seem expensive but there is a lot of value in it. The extra cost you pay is going towards the betterment of the expensive treatment of sea life needs to survive and thrive. These creatures are getting more extensive care the more they get funded. Every year we see this place improve the life of everything in it. It's very educational and honestly just really cool. Even the area behind the cafe is probably the most elaborate playground I've been to. You definitely need to try the funnel cake fries if they're available, they are so delicious. Also, the staff has always been incredibly friendly!

My family and I enjoyed our visit at the OK Aquarium. It wasn't the largest Aquarium that we've been to but it was easily the most interactive. There are over 5 different areas that allow you to interact with aquatic life. From touching horseshoe crabs and starfish to feeding turtles and stingrays, there are plenty of ways to enjoy your experience there. The playground outside of the aquarium is an added bonus if you want to tire the kids out further.
Leonard Newby — Google review
A great way to spend the day! We did the shark and sea turtle experience and it was a fun opportunity to go behind the scenes and meet these beautiful creatures close-up. The aquarium is not very big, so you can definitely get through everything (including 1 experience) in about 3 hours. Bathrooms were very clean, nice gift shop and a park for the little ones. Make sure you know all the feeding times to make the most of your experience. Enjoy!
Lala Coqui — Google review
I was impressed with the amount of aquatic life on display, both local (freshwater), as well as from around the world (saltwater). I didn't have time to take in the entire aquarium, as I was there primarily to view the fireworks display from the back lawn of the aquarium, but what I had time to see was presented well. There are lots of "hands on" things for kids to do/touch. The outdoor play area is really nice to "get the sillies out" if kids get bored inside.
Overall, quite a "must-see" for both visitors and locals!
It's pricey for a larger family, but worth it (in my opinion) to help teach kids (and adults) about nature and the amazing world around us!

Oklahoma Aquarium provided exactly what we needed for a hot summer day! Our great experience began before we even went inside! There were great photography opportunities with the Statues and the giant Adirondack chair in the front entrance.
The employees at check-in were friendly and personable and answered many questions. They even give you a commemorative sticker of your choice for a $1 donation!
We enjoyed the many submersive experiences! We crawled into tunnels which took us inside the tanks. The Shark Tunnel was amazing with sharks swimming all around us and directly overhead. We thoroughly enjoyed the 3D shark adventure (for an extra $10 -- it was worth it!) We petted the sting rays and were able to touch other sea creatures.
The restaurant was good, I recommend a fresh, made-to-order sandwich with a beer.
I highly recommend the Aquarium for a fun adult or family adventure!
Marie Davis (WanderWoman) — Google review
Always had hesitations about coming here. Online, the aquarium doesn't seem that big, and it's not wrong. I would say this is a guess, but there are around maybe 100-130 different things to see maybe a lot less. It's still nice, but being from Connecticut, we had cheaper aquariums with a lot more to see. We paid $25 per ticket here.
They do have a nice shark enclosure you can go under the glass domes and get some great views, but the other exhibits are harder to see with sheer amount of people piling in.
Go if you're looking for a place to take the family or a classic date spot. Its still nice.
Dakota (Dalian) — Google review
What a fun way to spend a few hours! My husband and I came for my birthday, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The exhibits are well designed and clean, and we didn't see any sick/distressed looking animals. The shark tunnel was amazing to walk through. As a collector of squashed pennies, I was excited to see several machines around😅😅 The price of admission was very reasonable for the facility, and my husband's military discount made his a little cheaper.
Becca Keith — Google review
This place is INCREDIBLE!!! Informative learning environment tailored to kids but interesting enough that parents and adults will love it. Benches throughout for those who need to rest. Wheelchair accessible. Snacks and food available near the front with seating area. Drink vending machines down every hall. Coin machines with souvenir tokens and penny smashers. Friendly staff that will help you and answer any questions. Perfect for photo ops. Designated areas for hands on and feeding schedules. We were able to watch divers clean some of the exhibits. Animals seem happy and in large enough areas. Diverse variety of exhibits. Clean and tidy restrooms. Good selection at the gift shop. Highly recommend and will come back again.
B Young — Google review
We had a wonderful time, there was plenty to see and do, we saw a huge variety of fish and other animals, having an opportunity to learn about each one. Be sure to visit the shark tunnel and watch sharks swimming around and even above your head, it's really neat 😃
The reason that I cannot give them a five star review is because of the gift shop prices are outrageous and out of line, it's like buying a $5 coffee mug with their name on it for $15 to $20 or spending $10 on a $2 magnet that has their name on it.
Bart Gelino — Google review
Neat place. Second time to go there. This time, took our grandson.
The walk through shark tube is fascinating.
They have both native water life along with sea creatures.
Large mouth bass, a school of stripers, a huge snapping turtle, and rather large alligator gar are included in the display.
The sea turtle tank is fun. The kids really like it.
One sad note, the large octopus that's been on display, died this year and hasn't been replaced yet.
Tom Webb — Google review
One of the nicest aquariums I've visited. It is a good size with a number of excellent exhibits. The signage for each is very well done so you can identify each fish on display and done key facts.
The shark tunnel was awesome. Some other highlights are the stingray touch tank, moon jellyfish touch exhibit, the carousel and kids play structure.
A great diversion for a morning or afternoon.
Jerry Harrow — Google review
I am a big fan of zoos and aquariums and I loved this place! Lots of unique animals (diving beetles, snapping turtle, beavers), well layed out and very enjoyable. Parking is free, it wasn’t overly busy, it was a great afternoon! There are several touch pools and you can feed turtles and fish.
Steph West — Google review
Do I think as an adult this was worth the 2 1/2 drive? No but my kids did love it. We finished everything in less than an hour and went around to see stuff again. I wished it was bigger or atleast the exhibits had more room. My kids loved that there was a lot of touch starfish and horseshoe crabs, & shrimps, jellyfish. The shark tunnel was our favorite super cool and well designed. Decent priced gift shop and buying tickets online was easy just to get in line tell them your email and you’re good to go. It was over $100 for our family of 4 to see everything in less than an hour which is just crazy to me. But I guess my kids did make memories and that you can’t put a price on.
Jaycie Jones — Google review
They have a lot of sea creatures to look at. Some of the animals they let you touch too like the sting rays and moon jellies. You can feed some turtles. They have a little tunnel for the kids, that goes through a tank and even a peep hole so they can see the fish better. They also have an area for otters!! There is an outdoor playground that is really cool. We went the other day and it was so much fun. EXCEPT there were a million kids there from the schools. 😫 It was awful how loud they were. Running around pushing people. I had to help squeeze my kids in to see some of the tanks because the kids were just standing there. The outdoor playground was the same. Next time we will probably come at the later times so we don't get stuck with field trip kids. The price is pretty steep about $20/kid and $25/Adult which is one of the reasons I put off coming here. We ended up getting a membership for around $170 2/Adults and up to 4 kids. We homeschool and plan on coming often with our kids.
Bethany — Google review
This place was amazing. This was my first visit, but it won't be my last. I'm pretty sure I had a smile on my face the entire time just from seeing all of the beautiful fish and other water life.
Shaina Lebowitz — Google review
It was a nice aquarium. Smaller than expected. The shark tunnel was pretty awesome. Very pricey for the size and lots of ways they get more $ from you throughout. I like places like this that have slightly higher ticket prices but experiences aren't extra and the gift shop isn't extremely overpriced. Still happy we went, but don't think we will visit twice.
Christine Boyd — Google review
We loved this place. So much to see and learn about. So many touch tanks. The one thing I would see if there was no schools coming that day bc we had 3 busses of kids running around like little crazy people. Other than that the employees were very nice. Especially when I asked questions.
Tonya Wilson — Google review
Love the interactivity they have for kids. Didn't love the snarky attitude the young girl facilitating gave when we didn't know how to touch a sting ray. She acted so miserable to be there. This was my 7 year old first time at an aquarium and so some Custer service would have been appreciated. But the aquarium itself was nice
Sarah Hutchens — Google review
Very informative aquarium, I've been to several but was impressed with how many sharks they have here. Paying in person was about 55$ for two people. It's not that big, but big enough to spend a few hours here. It's very family friendly.
Haikey Creek Park is a vast county park in Bixby, with picnic areas and playgrounds as well as an 18-hole championship disc golf course. It's also home to sport courts for football, soccer, and tennis, softball fields, and baseball diamonds.
It's a really good park if you just wanna kick back and relax. You can play Frisbee Golf. The park is super clean well maintained and kept up. Pretty sunsets with great views
Katarina McCaw — Google review
Very pretty. Nice hiking. Lots of birds and animals to see. Some water features that you could walk down to. Overall it was a very enjoyable day I had at this area. Saw some people with dogs so you can walk them there. And there are some people picnicking by the creek.
Jonathan Yang (Jo-Nathan) — Google review
We were looking for PickleBall courts and found these. They were nice and clean. Other players were friendly and didn’t get bothered if the ball accidentally entered their court.
Kristi A — Google review
Very nice park; several areas worth at least two separate playground, lots of pavilions, a Disc Golf Course, walking trails, etc. Absolutely the cleanest and best smelling restroom I have ever seen in a public park.
Shelley Chandler — Google review
Very beautiful walk area. Great disc golf. With a nature area. People get really offended at this park if you have a large dog off leash. Small dogs who cares. But my Great Danes seem to offend Karen’s. Work out area play ground covered eating area ball fields it’s got it all along with a creek my Danes love
Kelley Matson — Google review
Bathrooms were rather lacking, the fields are 300 ft, and the dugouts have no shade. However, the staff is friendly, it's a beautiful spot, and plenty of trees.
Faith Branstetter — Google review
The cleanest, most well maintained park in Tulsa. The perfect place to go to escape into nature. The staff are friendly and hard working. We appreciate all that they do, even working Fathers day of 2023 to keep the park beautiful and safe.
Thank you guys!

Beautifully-maintained park. Great work BA! Visitors are even conscientious and respect rules and expectations of a public place. Tulsa and Bixby Parks could learn a ton emulating this municipal gem.
Andrew Cervini — Google review
We had a really great time over here at the park, they have 2 different playgrounds, park is roomy enough for the kids to play soccer. Park was clean. I personally loved the scenic view. We will definitely be back.

Very nice park. Good for runners. It would be awesome if it was a little bigger
Jorge Ramirez — Google review
This place has a great walking path. It is very fine chat (cinder?) and I find it very easy on the feet. I go out of my way to walk at this park. It also seems hugely popular for frisbee golf and dog walking.
Greg Boyles — Google review
It's fun to play Frisbee golf here! This park is always clean and maintained well.
Kenzie Laymon — Google review
We had a great picnic, the ants were even there! I think it would be nice if there were another playground for the kids it's a bit crowded on the weekends!!!
Dawna Bradley — Google review
Beautiful park! Nice trails, bridges and views. They have some decent body weight work out equipment. Good parking. Will visit again.

I got married here 14th of October 2022. Bestest day of my life. Today is my first day back. Sitting under the same tree we married at. He’s left me now. (Not dead) I still love him endlessly. I’m talking to him as if he’s in the tree. This park will forever hold a place in my heart !

As always it's a great place to have a weekend getaway! Good fun and relaxing for the family. And it's pretty inexpensive for the quality of good times and memories you get to make and take away from Deep Fork!!!

The park is large and nice. The RV campground was one of the best in Eastern OK: spacious, treed with full hookups! The lake is not a nice or senior compared to other area lakes and there wasn't any nice, easy access beach (though after wading through muddy water, there is a decent one). There were a number of nice trails and a cute little nature center. The gift store could use a little more stuff.
Biology Nerd — Google review
We got the humming bird yert, small but ok, gets really hot inside even with ac on during the day, and cold at night. Had mice getting in our food inside, had spiders, the beds where hard as rocks. The yert is not worth the money, but we had a private aera around it, put up some tents. Lots..... of snakes in the water and the water was real nasty 😒. The Scenery was really pretty. Over all about a 4 out of ten.
Heather New — Google review
As full-time RVers, we would give this Campground a very high rating. Our site had 50 amp service and water. There was a dump station close by. We used Google Maps to pick a campsite that would fit our rig. It was at least 80 ft long. Easy in and out. There are plenty of roads for bicycling and a decent mountain bike trail. Groceries are within about 8 Miles.
Richard Chabrajez — Google review
We came for the hiking but there is much more to do! There are bike rentals at the office, a marina and the hiking was good! I would definitely return to this park for more adventures!

Lake Eufala State Park was a fun experience. It has something for the whole family. We took in some of the trails and then skipped a bunch of rocks down at the lake. There are playgrounds, disc golf, and park areas to cook out at. You can even stay in some of the yurts they have available to rent.
It was pretty clean, but we did find some trash in the trail. Also, the hiking is pretty flat, but has some nice wooded areas to explore. Take a fishing pole if you go!
Ryan Stauder — Google review
Loved the stay at the park it was clean well maintained and the park guest road around frequently to make sure everything was in good order. Was unhappy in hearing that the fishing dock is being turned into a bar
Denise Cooper Yanez — Google review
Love this place. Only my second time there but the campground is clean, friendly, and lots of room. The lake is great but you have to find a good spot to enjoy the view.
Dennis H — Google review
Clean & Fun overall, 4 or 5 different sites for water recreation, a few repairs needed on longhorn lane but overall great park.

Overnight on our way to Colorado. Beautiful campground. Thought it was a bit strange we would have had to share water with the campground next to us, however no one was there so it all worked out.

I've been going here since I was around 6 years old and I will be 54 October 2024. The park is so beautiful the amenities are wonderful and I adore the "Love Lock Garden and Love Lock Fountain"!! Some of my fondest childhood memories are fishing on the inside dock. The first time I ever saw a blue cat it was caught on the dock and it was record size!!!
Jennifer Newton — Google review
Lake Eufaula is huge and really beautiful. We enjoyed their visitor's center. There were many t-shirt and sticker choices. They also had great gifts or souvenirs for kids.
We also checked out the nature center nearby. The little nocturnal animal section was cute.
The beach near the nature center was really nice.
Ash C — Google review
We stayed in the Dogwood Loop, site 53, in a 38’ 5th wheel. We had full hookups w/ 30amp elec. It is a nice, clean quiet park. Nearly all sites are extremely close, are Y shaped, with a shared driveway. All are asphalt. Picnic tables on concrete slabs, fire-pits at each site. The laundry room has 2 washers/dryers with 1 washer out of order. Outside the bldg is a covered patio area & the entire underside of the roof is covered in hornet nests. There are a few, easy hiking trails.
Terri Wetzel — Google review
Love all the new bathrooms and showers. Ice cream man just drove by. Love it! Lake is not the absolute clearest in Eastern Oklahoma but still ok and not over crowded. Lots of shade on lots of sites in deep fork campground.
Jesse Pottridge — Google review
The views are fantastic and the facilities are very good. Nice playground, restrooms and dog friendly. We had our own picnic table and a great panoramic view of the lake. Great place to disengage from the world and rest.
Ronald Ray — Google review
Nice cozy place for family retreat. Stay in Yatt is comfortable and pleasant, well maintained outdoor and park . Access to lake is steps away
Large state park offering camp sites, picnic shelters, playgrounds, golf courses, trails & stables.
I can't say enough good things about this park. I'm always camping though. I will give huge kudos to those who take care of the restrooms because people are nasty and leave horrible messes that they clean daily. THANK YOU!! Don't forget, you have to pay to park for day use, and any extra vehicles at camp sites have to pay to park as well. It is enforced and he comes by several times a day. It's worth it to keep the park clean!!
Dawn Kluesner — Google review
We used the park as a pit stop on a road trip. It had lots of amenities but was hardly being used. Heads up - the nature trail is not like most park nature trails, it had real hike like conditions. Not a long hike, but rocky and overgrown. We enjoyed taking our 16mo old on it but he couldn’t walk it himself like we anticipated.
L HstL — Google review
Great little course by Eufala Lake. Great grass even in the heat. No water jugs so get ice and water. Good small clubhouse. Gas carts.
Melinda Hipp — Google review
This park has alot to offer- friendly service at the office, great hiking trail, marina- (Area 51), landing strip and golfing! I went for a little hiking and caught it when they had posted trivia along the trail for an event the next day- this just added something different to the hike- trails were well signed as well- good elevation changes

We camped at Arrowhead in Turkey Flats campground site 10. Beautiful area with good-sized spots with space. It's a short drive down to the water, and you can barely see the water through the trees, but we have a very nice weekend for our 1st trip there. The pads are nice and level. Full hookups, including sewer. We were able to drive down to the water to put our kayaks in. It was spring break week, so a few kids running around, playing but not bothering anyone. Lots of deer. Will stay again.
Tarah Giroux — Google review
I've been going here for 2 decades, camping, fishing, hiking, horse riding and so many more things to do, they do now charge a fee for parking but it helps the park. The bathrooms with showers are maintained and open all year long and the area gets patrolled hourly. Go enjoy the great outdoors.
Randhier Ramharakh — Google review
So my tax dollars go to state parks, they charge to park here, but apparently bathroom is only for campers. So if I can't use anything here why am I paying so much.
Oz Man — Google review
Spent a week at the Lakeview RV camping area in July 2019 and we had an absolute blast. Kids loved the nearby playground and swimming in the lake. The grills and tables on the RV sites were a bit older/rusted out/unlevel, but that didn't detract very much from the camping experience.
Gerald Valentine — Google review
Had a great time overall!! Area 51 marina was a complete dump. Turkey Flats has nice RV pads(concrete) but ther is not much wind or air moving thru ther, Lakeview Recreational area down the road was very nice.
Zachary Tipton — Google review
Easy access off of highway 69. We only stayed one night passing through, but will definitely be back. Slots 1-20 have sewer hook ups, the rest appear to just have water and electrical. The on line booking system does not give the length of the sites, but all appeared to have ample room for our 41 foot 5th wheel. If you've paid on line you can follow the signs straight to the Campground and skip checking in at the office. Very clean park.
Delicious sandwiches. Had the prime rib and hubby had a brisket sandwich. If I lived here I would be here once a week for a sandwich. Probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. They also carry homemade cheeses which looked delicious and all kinds of specialty foods.

We stopped at Lovera’s on the way to Arkansas after reading great reviews online. It didn’t disappoint. This is a destination spot that is worth a visit. Be sure to tell them if it’s your first time and you can sample their homemade cheese and sausage. This is an Italian market but they have a great sandwich counter in the back! The muffuletta is delicious and MORE than enough to share. Be sure to check out some of their unique pastas, sauces, and other items while you’re there too! Beautiful outside area to enjoy lunch as well.
Megan Holladay — Google review
Owner and employees are friendly. Sausage in deli or refrigerated is off the charts good. Several sauces and cheese to choose from. The sausage and sauce don't overpower you with oregano like most Italian food has become. I shop here once a week on average
Royce Mullin — Google review
This place is amazing. The pasta salads are amazing and made from scratch. Can't go wrong with any purchase. Hard to find Italian grocery needs from homemade pasta to fantastic seasonings and of course sauces. Great meat and in-house-made cheeses!! It's a must go.

I have never been here but I had to reorder an excellent spice here that dad had purchased A VERY LONG TIME AGO. It was still very good being so out of date. I plan on ordering lot more because I use it on my roasted asparagus and roasted broccoli. It tastes so good.

Prices have gotten out of hand. Cheese I purchased was nasty. It used to be good. When I paid with credit card, I had the option to tip the cashier. Really? You want a $7.50 tip just for checking me out? Since when do we tip cashiers?

Small place heaped up with shelfs and and refrigerators on the sides. Everything, you can find in traditional italian deli - cheese, meat, pasta, pasta sauces, italian cookies etc. Besides that, the deli selling meat cuts and sandwiches.
The two most important corners - at the front (pay counter) and another on the back - sandwichemaker counter. There is not really traditional NYC sandwiches but with local substation. For example, there is not meatball sandwiches but brisket sandwich.
The sandwiches very good. Wouldn’t say the best, but apparently you wont find something better around. Apparently, worth to visit. Just try to avoid desserts - tiramisu is cinnamoned soggy ball with chocolate powder on top.

Loved this place! Picked up grocery items to make homemade pizza on first visit and noticed all the sandwich options in deli so came back on way out of town and tried the Longhorn brisket sandwich and wife had the Batta Bing sandwich and we both thought the sandwiches were excellent! Also had some housemate potato salad and it was really good as well. Very cozy little Italian market and deli. Have nice outside patio for dining as well.

Friendly welcome and very inviting. No pressuring and there's a lot of every little thing for such a small shop. There is also a hot deli in the back. The sandwiches are amazingly scrumptious! My favorite was the one with Brisket and had a sweet savory BBQ sauce on toasted flat bread. Then following the muffuleta. Both sandwiches are different from eachother but also very tasting! They have a variety of cheeses too and even some that were made from them! Shop also sells pre-made Italian meals that you can make it at home. The aroma from the food smells yummy and take your time to look around for spices, snacks, groceries, and anything you would like to add to your kitchen flavors. I am definitely going back again when I'm in town. Also, you can purchase non-hot food items with your EBT card.
Gambling club with slot & table games, live entertainment, TV sports & a grill with karaoke.
This place is exciting and fun. If you want the casino experience in the middle of Oklahoma, this is a good place to go. A wide variety of machines, free soft drinks and even has a bar/restaurant in the back that serves decent pub grub.

Only 4 tables. Small space. One restaurant. Drinks pricey. The dealer at the Texas Hold’em table was talking about us to a local. Don’t think they like tourists. Made a short night of it.

If there was less stars I would give it to this place on there game play only, because that is why people go there. However the employees that work in the casino are super nice and accommodating. If you want to go to a place to play and relax have a good adult time this is not the place to go unless you choose not to play the games. The games will just eat your money with no regard. I’ve never played at a casino and had this bad of luck!

Visited on a Sunday for lunch. Even though restaurant was almost empty service was extremely slow. We both ordered the BBQ bacon burger. The tomato and lettuce were both very fresh. The hamburger patties (2 on the burger) were extremely thin and way overcooked. The bun was hard on the bottom. We will not return and do not recommend.

Staff is great.
Drug addicts and drunks are a real problem at this location, Beware, especially in the evening. I've encountered panhandling right at the front door of this place, it's confusing to me that they would allow this.
Again drug addicts are a real problem at this casino, it's disgusting and can and will take the fun out of your night. We are regular patrons and this is a continuous issue at this location. Staff is great, games are ehhh...winning is rare.....food is a not worth the price unless you have comps.....dope heads a plenty.

This place is so welcoming and has been so generous to both my wife and I. Most recently I had a few awesome payouts and jackpots. The food is great , the service is friendly and accommodating. I'll definitely continue to enjoy this atmosphere for years to come.

Good casino for a small town. No roulette, which we were disappointed. Heavy on the smoking inside, it made my eyes hurt. Clean drinking area. Great 80 cent machines
Tee Cee — Google review
Staff is chill, alot of machines are off. Ordered an amf and it was 90% sweet and sour mix so of course it was too sour. Asked for a new drink and was told I would be charged for another, asked to get something else for the same price and was still told no. I have never been to a bar or restaurant where that is their policy. The casino makes way too much money to be stingy about their alcohol. Their alcohol is also measured by a machine even for pouring shots. I trust the measuring cup more .
Beautiful free spot to camp. Lots of spaces and some right on the river. Bathrooms were clean but bring your own toilet paper as most of them we saw were not stocked. Quiet at night. Easy to get to, a 2wd is fine.

The Blue River is fantastic. Be sure to check out Scotty’s at the entrance. Very clean camp ground and great fishing

Had a great weekend at Blue River. I love this place so much, imo a state treasure. Primitive camping at its best. Please remember "Leave No Trace" its really easy to pick up your trash!

One of our favorite places! It's gorgeous 😍 BUT just a heads up, you will NEED to HAVE water shoes. You are walking on rocks in the water. BIG ROCKS. You can see the rocks for the most part but just be prepared. The rope swings are a blast too!

It had just got done raining so the water was muddy but we still had a great time. Would recommend leaving your dog at home if all it's gonna do is bark cause your neighbors might get angry (another campers dog would not shut up)! I feel like it should be better governed so as to weed out the riffraff but will def go again

Beautiful scenery, wonderful primitive campgrounds and just great all around fun. Be warned though, if you are coming to fish be ready for a battle. A lot of fishermen out here so the fish are very suspicious!

This campground is so beautiful! I just wish campers did a better job of picking up their trash. They also need a trash can in/outside of the bathrooms. Also, be sure to bring an ice chest that has a sturdy latch of some sort, or else the raccoons will get your food!

Ohhh my goodness, I mean Mother Nature is beautiful, she truly loves and cares for this place. Just the silence, or maybe nature, the river is gorgeous, and for Oklahoma, I was sooo impressed. I love it here, and will be going back!!

We go a couple times a year but we usually stay 9 days every September. Beautiful place. Wouldn't mind if they started charging or at least took note of tag numbers or who camped where and fined those who leave a mess!

I’ve been in Oklahoma almost 40 years and had never heard of Blue River. Granted, if it were advertised and promoted it would lose its unique charm and beauty, as this is primitive beauty. Warning: this area is dirt roads and natural ruts/washouts caused by erosion. Easily accessible with small SUV but I wouldn’t advise low clearance vehicles. That being said, if you enjoy nature’s beauty, you’ll be glad you visited.

One of the last places you can camp for free. The water is usually clear and cold, unless there is a storm.
Lots of great camping places.
There are NO showers or running water so it's roughing it a little.
(Dollar general Market is less than 6mins away if you need water or food)
Camping places fill up fast during holidays so get there early.
Beautiful place. The ruins have been preserved very well. A nice place to visit for sure.

The exhibit itself and the ruins are very cool. I wanted to learn more But the reason why a poor rating was given is because they still try and require you to wear masks just to go inside.

Horrible what happened to the native Americans here, however a great place to visit as a reminder of our history. Also over 200 confederate soldiers buried in an unmarked grave.

Historic site managed by friendly staff. Walking areas are well maintained so easy access to the content. Adequate signage for highlights. Reproduction buildings and original foundations of buildings add to the site's authenticity. Well worth a visit.

We had a great visit with a short guided tour. The staff was very helpful and informative. We also enjoyed walking the grounds and reading about this historical Fort.
Swanky casino hotel offering a conference center, plus outdoor pools, a spa, dining & entertainment.
The rooms were spacious and clean. Plenty of supplies in the room. Nice restaurants to choose from. We spent most of our time at the event center, which was why we were there, and it was a great space as well! I didn't realize there was a non-smoking area so that would have been nice to know. We stopped by the family area and it was very busy but glad to see it was non-smoking. Everyone looked like they were having fun. We will definitely be going back when we can enjoy the pool areas.

Me and my friend went with the kids and loved it. We can't wait to go back and stay in a hotel room. We signed up for the players club and got a free stay. They have a family area called the district and it has a movie theater, bowling, game area and kid friendly eats. Free soft drinks on the casino floor and it's spacious not crowded. Very clean and nice staff. Great parking. Can't wait to go again.

Had a good time. Hadn't been here since I was 10-11 y/o. Brought back childhood memories.
I wish they had the smoking area closed off from the non-smoking area. I had on a mask, but I could still smell the smoke. 😷😖
I recall that when I visited as a child, the non-smoking area was in a glass enclosure. That was awesome!
Please consider implementing a non-smoking enclosure (or something similar) again.

I absolutely loved my 2 night stay here for my birthday! I had been going elsewhere in another city by exit 1, for many years. (If u know, you know) I got tired of said place and wanted to try Choctaw out.
Wow, it's amazing here! The rooms are beautiful in the new Sky Tower. I was able to upgrade my room to get a balcony and wow! the view was awesome. Rooms are spacious and clean. Room service was good and delivered quickly. Pool was relaxing and beautiful. The staff for the hotel were all friendly and helpful! Valet parking is free for hotel guests, which is a very nice touch.
As for the gambling area, it's spread out and and spacious. All areas are nice with lots of selections of slots and table games. The only non smoking area is in the new Sky Casino area. Which is a huge area. There is smoking in 2 of the sections here. This whole casino is pretty well kept as far as cleanliness. I constantly have seen staff in bathrooms, cleaning up the slot areas and drink areas. And the drink stations stay open, filled up and you can let the staff know when it needs extra cleaning too.
Kids can have fun too. There is an area in the casino called, The District. They have many arcade games, fun bowling area, movie theatre and they do Birthday party rentals. Pretty cool.
This has quickly turned into my new favorite place to frequent when i want to go to the casino. I just absolutely love it so much better. Definitely go to experience this place !

The casino is decorated for Christmas. It is beautiful. I played $22.00 in free play. I hit a little and was able to play for a while. We had lots of fun. Oh they have new games. It is like a different casino. Everyone was friendly and pleasant, restrooms were clean.

Fun atmosphere. Great place for the family in the warmer days. the outdoor pool area is perfect and they have an area for all ages. Casino is CLEAN. Non-smoking feels like you walked into another building. Night and day from smoking.

A word of advice don't work here. Playing and enjoying yourself may be fun but if anyone is looking for employment this is not the place to go. If your a hard worker they believe in running a person to death in the cleaning department till people get taken off to the ER. One employee had kidney failure and they still pointed him even though he had to be taken from there to the ER. This isn't right. They allow sick employees to clean and wait on customers but yet keep sanitizing wipes in the floor...funny huh. Blue and black shirts ( the supervisors and managers) are not fit for their positions.

It is really a beautiful facility. Spacious, clean friendly service and superlative staff. If you have mobility issues highly recommend you bring your scooter, wheelchair or whatever else you need. They do rent motorized scooters. The place is massive. The background music especially in the eating facilities is very very loud. You cannot hear when they announce your food if you're at the food court and you cannot carry on a conversation in a normal voice. The food is very good but overpriced. It's like eating at the airport. If you like Vietnamese, the Bamboo Asian restaurant has excellent Pho. Now for gambling:
A plethora of video machines. A bit stingy on payouts. The poker room is adequate however rules are not enforced. Cell phones on the tables, non playing guests hovering and conversing loudly with players. Frankly, it is annoying and it impedes and detracts from the game. The dealers are good and engaging but need to enforce rules and etiquette, especially with the regulars. Idle chitchat is fine and a necessary part of the game for enjoyment, but when it becomes loud and overbearing it needs to be curtailed. When players become drunk and the aggressiveness spills out into the room and interrupts play at all the tables they should be asked to leave.
Accommodations:
Austere but nicely done. The beds and pillows were exquisite. Very quiet and easy to rest. I stayed in Spa Tower. Older part of the resort but very comfortable.
I will return.

Had a great experience with a recent stay. Nice room in the Sky Tower. Casino host was great help in getting some comps. Dining at the 1832 Steakhouse was very relaxing with good service and food prepared to our wishes. Played blackjack and won, but still do not like the "ante". Good variety of slots - and did not experience much difficulty with card readers for once - but one machine did eat my players card. Still get lost in the machines in the Sky Tower. Overall satisfying experience.

We love going there to gamble. We live within an hour drive, so I don't know anything about the hotel. The casino is kept clean. I love the new addition, and the smoke free section!!!! The dealers are friendly. I mostly play tables. Drink services is oddly slow. Maybe that's designed to keep you at a table longer (waiting on your drink). Restaurants are all good there.
Erika Boylan — Google review
Great place to stay, great place to gamble, and plenty of amenities.
One complaint, we had 3 adults and they would only give us 2 keys for the room. Said they were low on keys, but seems like that type of high-end operation should have that sorted out.
Super friendly staff, and super personable dealers.
5 stars next time if Concierge has simple things like room keys sorted.

One of my favorite Native American casinos I've ever been to. Always clean the staff is always friendly and it's very close to Dallas. We have gone several times just for a few hours to play a few games and eat dinner. This casino also has a lot of great concerts. For being in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma they sure do get some pretty incredible Talent
A K — Google review
Would give them 5 stars but their prices to play certain table games have increased in the past few years. For example 3-card poker used to start at $5 per spot and now it's $10, which means that one game will now cost you $30.50 minimum if you played all spots except the progressive spot. Playing the progressive, at minimum, would cost you an additional .50 cents more per hand. A few years ago, to play all spots would cost you $15 (progressive not included).

Great location with amenities, cant wait for all the new pools to be finished! I can sit here and look at this digital arch all day, so cool! Get a players card they are great at giving comps and im not a big time gambler but they just gave me a free room for the weekend, 2 concert tickets and comped our meals!

We attended a concert in the Grand Theater. Really liked this venue. Ample staff who were extremely friendly and helpful. While not spacious, the seating gives you more room than many other venues these days - where your knees touch the back of the chair in front of you. The theater is nicely laid out. We had good seats but I can't imagine any seat in the venue is a bad one.

This resort and casino is a very nice place. Although there are other casinos that my wife and I frequent that have no smoking this one wasn't that bad. We came here a couple other times before the remodel and it has come a long way from what it was. I like that the kids can be with us, and the arcade and bowling is a great idea. The movies theater was a great touch!! Dinner and movie in one place! And the room is right upstairs. The service here is great too. The staff will great you with a smile and see to your needs. I will say the restrooms could have used a little TLC, the whole experience was great, thanks again!!

I was seriously impressed with this place. There is something to do for every age. I attended a conference, and the food was good, employees friendly, and the place is huge. The rooms in Spa tower are very nice. I appreciated having a small hallway, off of the main floor hallway, lead to each hotel room. This made the rooms very quiet. The casino was very smoky, but the hallways and rooms smelled fresh. I will definitely return.

First time here and I was amazed. Not what I was expecting at all. Lots of places to eat and the bars are top notch. Super clean just about everywhere inside. I didn't stay at the hotel so I can't speak for that, but if it's anything like the casino, then I'm sure the rooms are nice as well. Anyhow I'll definitely be back and stay for at least a day. Movie theater, bowling alley, arcades, not sure if there was anything else for kids but it's pretty awesome.

This is a really really excellent Casino and Hotel! This place is absolutely awesome, they have everything from movie theater to numerous restaurants, a bowling alley and an arcade room. They also have a very clean modern non smoking casino area that is really large, as well as a large smoking casino area. You can easily spend 4-5 hours in this place if not more. They sky tower hotel rooms are worth the money. My wife and I travel an hour and a half at least 5-6 times a year, definitely worth the drive and highly recommend this place for MUST visit!

Was not really impressed. Enjoyed the casino and actually made a little money. Was not impressed with customer care. Valet is disorganized. The shower is wimpy. Went down to the pool with the wristband they require you to wear and room key. They told me I needed either license or Rewards card. Walked all the way back to the room and got Rewards card. They accepted it at the swim up bar, then refused to accept it for anything else and told me they had to have a license. Complained to a supervisor who basically told me that it would be stupid to take anything other than a license. Told him the issue was that I was following their direction and that it was making their customer run around due to their inaccurate information and a poor process that was completely in their control. The supervisor could have cared less and did nothing to try to quickly recover from a poor customer care interaction. Bottom line....I can find places to stay with nice pools with a swim up bar where they truly care about their customer and have an excellent process that is focused on customer satisfaction....why would I return to a place that is not?

First time traveling by on the highway as it was beautifully lit up at night; it intrigued us and we decided to have a go at it. Calling the info number only led to a weird conversation with a girl who was kinda confusing we thought we show up and check it out ourselves. It was very nice and looked top-tier. We approached the front desk and we encountered Maribel who was very warm and knowledgeable. She quickly made us feel welcome and navigated in clearing up the messy reservation from the phone call giving us a room right near the gaming area and made sure we got valet parking for the next cold morning. Worth every penny for the fun night and gaming experience there! Huge resort with much to see and do there. We highly recommend this beautiful resort in Durant Oklahoma! We plan on coming back with our colleagues later this year!

We love coming to this casino, it's hard to like other casinos now that we have been here. My husband and I have been coming to this casino for years and they have added so much over the years! New hotel towers, new amenities. It's gotten a lot more kid friendly, family friendly. We love the security of the facilities. We also love all the restaurants in the hotel, some reasonable prices and some high end places. They have a great theater where they host great concerts with some big celebrity singers. They have a theater, arcade and bowling alley to enjoy with the family! And of course like 3 floors of slots, tables and other gambling options. We love that one floor is totally smoke free along with one tower of hotel, which makes it so nice for the family.

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel, we book a king. They said they have us a double queen but no problem we can get you a king. We walk in the room it’s another double queen. We go back down stairs and say well let’s try the 3rd room for them to say sorry to upgrade to a king is another $149 a night! None of that was said the first time. I feel like that’s regular rate. Motel 6 does a better good of customer service at least they leave the light on for you. Will tell everyone I know please do not stay here to save them such disappointments one after another.

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Choctaw Casino and resort and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The room was luxurious and spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows that made sleeping in a dream. The staff were friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The amenities were top-notch, with a fantastic pool and fitness center. And, of course, the casino itself was a thrill a minute! The games were varied and exciting, and the atmosphere was lively and fun. I also appreciated the convenience of having a variety of dining options right on site. Overall, I would highly recommend the Choctaw Casino and resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay. I can't wait to come back!"

Amazing resort/casino on land. I've visited a few and this would be the most luxurious. Many things to at the resort itself didn't see many attractions outside of the casino, which is probably the whole point😉 over all nice place. The food court is real simple depending on which tower your staying in could be a lil walk, but lots to see In between. Beverages stations are all throughout the center so it wouldn't be any need to purchase drinks with meals unless 🤷♀️I mean you just want to. So if your looking for a nice get away try it out.

This was a great experience for my family and I. We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were extremely nice and very clean. Our bell hop, James, was the sweetest person and he went above and beyond to help us. They have so many different restaurants and things to do for kids. A lot of the arcade games were out of service, which was a bummer. They do have bowling and a movie theatre also. We tried the buffet and it was ehh. We did not like it much but the smash burger was so delicious. We will definitely be back.

Fished 2 days with Capt. Dave. He had us on fish from the start. Wind and rain hampered everything the first day but the next day we had our limit within 2 hours and we were throwing back some really big fish because we had our limit of 20+” fish and had a hard time catching smaller fish…that’s a GOOD problem. Awesome people. Will definitely be back again and again!

I have come from Colorado to fish with Striper Express three times in the last two years, and I'm scheduled to come back again this October 2023! I can't get enough. I've been out with a handful of their guides, and they're all great! Some days days we catch our full limit and others are slower, but it's always a blast out on the lake. All the guides are knowledgeable about the lake and seem passionate about making sure the group catches fish. Before my first trip, I wasn't sure how much I would enjoy being out on a boat fishing for hours, but the time on the boat always seems to fly by. I was surprised at how little I ended up having to touch the fish. The guides take them off the hook and the only time I touched fish was if I wanted to hold one up for a photo. I've come in May and October, and I recommend wearing layers. It's cold in the morning when we take off around 5:45 or 6am, but if it's a sunny day, it gets hot around 10am!
You won't be disappointed with Striper Express for your Striper fishing experience. They're the best!

What an awesome day of fishing. Our group of 3 boats all limited out by 10:00am. The guides were so accommodating to both the seasoned and novice fishermen in the group. Not only did we learn how to catch striper but how to clean them. All the meat we pearly white and clean. The tackle, boats and comradery was fabulous. Fortunately, when I need another striper guide I know I won't have to look anywhere other than Striper Express. The entire experience was top notch, from different packages for meals and lodging, to booking to the trip itself. Thank you Striper Express team for making our team building experience one we'll never forget.

Striper Express was able to book my party of 4 with little advance notice (I wouldn’t always count on this, just saying they were able to for me this particular time) for an early October trip. Guide had us on the water right at 7am and didn’t stop hunting until we were on fish. It was a tough morning (sometimes the fish don’t cooperate) but we kept moving and the last 2 hours were non-stop action! Despite the tough morning we nearly limitled out. Highly recommend Striper Express, we’ll be back!

Had a great trip with some friends and family. Got into some fish. Guides were nice. Not sure the fish were cooperating with us. Called fishing not catching. 2 boats 2 days. Great experience today on Texoma with Striper Express. Captain Chris put us right on the fish, and we still caught 20 total despite it being a “slower” day. What a great trip out with Striper Express! We fished two days and they accommodated us on a day we were not even scheduled for to avoid bad weather. Captain Chris jumped into action immediately to get us on a boat and Captain Tim Smith knocked it out of the park with us hitting limits TWO days in a row. Been out on many trips with Striper Express and can’t wait to return.

Modest house where President Dwight Eisenhower was born, with antique furnishings & memorabilia.
You walk into this little house, and they try their best to set it up to look like a 1890 home, and knowing a U.S president was born right here in this bedroom, it's a moment from the history books right in front of you...

We went because I really respect his leadership in military. The place is pretty well maintained and even the yard is mowed nicely. I think every young man should go visit once in their lives!

I had no idea Denison was Eisenhower’s birthplace. I am thrilled to have been able to walk through the meticulously put together history museum of this Great American Treasure. He saved our country. Thank you Denison for enlightening me on his early life and later accomplishments. It made me want to read more. My tour guide Jennifer was so knowledgeable and answered all my questions but more so she told me stories I had never known. Wonderful visit. Oh and I love all my items I bought at the gift shop!

Quick visit to see the humble beginnings of President Eisenhower. The visitor's center is currently closed due to COVID, but the staff has pamphlets available outside the center for self guided tours. Call ahead to reserve a time slot to do a self guided tour of the house. Masks are required. The staff was very friendly. Although the gift shop is closed for in store shopping, you can call to place your order and the employee will pop out with your bag of items. Very clean restrooms.
Picturesque spot with a lake for swimming, fishing & canoeing, plus campsites & biking trails.
What a great little park!
What the park lacks in size, it makes up in fun.
Hiking trails, nice picnic place, but the real draw is the lake. There's a beach, with plenty of room for kids to splash around in.
Even in winter, it's a lovely place to relax.

Small park, but definitely enough activities to keep you busy for a day. Clean trails, camping, hiking, biking, fishing, canoe, kayak, and pedal boat rentals. Nice big restrooms with nice shower stalls. Nice kids play area, sand volleyball court, and covered picnic area. We had a lot of fun doing the photo Scavenger hunt and really enjoyed chatting with some of the rangers.

We stayed here in their small full service RV campground and thoroughly enjoyed nature at its quietest. Families were enjoying birthday picnics, swimming, kayaking and fishing. Several were also camping in their tents. We enjoyed the CCC architecture, and the trails. Hiking or biking, there's lots to do. The restrooms were clean and the water was hot. Boats and life jackets were available to rent.

Nice park. For a small older park it is a nice one.
The bathroom facility was clean and well kept and the staff was very friendly. For the most part the trails that I walked on were well marked. Great park for a one or two day getaway.

Great Tx state park tent and camper sights right on the water grill and fire pit on every site with a table. Grounds are well maintained and paddle boat rentals

Such a beautiful place. We randomly went on an hour drive and found this place. It's very nice and clean. Very family-friendly. There's RV camping and areas for tents. They have buildings with bathrooms and showers. Loved it!!

Awesome park, quiet and small campground that is much different from a traditional Texas State Park. Love the intimacy of just a few neighbors and a mini-park atmosphere.
Camping sites 1&2 are full hookups, and closest to the park HQ. Sites 3-6 back up to the playground/volleyball court. 7&8 are the best for waterfront views and back right up to the lake. 9-12 back up to the woods and have a bit more privacy, though 9 is a bit cramped between 8 & 10. 12 is not suitable for big campers - limited ability to maneuver for parking. We stayed in 13, which is a HUGE site, sitting atop a small hill. Big grassy area out front and it’s essentially a pull-thru site. 14 is on the opposite side of the road from 4 and also offers good privacy. I uploaded photos of every campsite so check those out too for details.
The remainder of the sites are tent only. They’re all well shaded on a small loop. A couple small trails connect site 13 and the tent loop. A single dump station sits between the tent loop and the main road.
Bathrooms are nice and clean, camp HQ is closed to visitors inside but has a walk-up window to transact your business, including kayak (1 or 2 seaters), canoe, or paddle boat (up to 4 seats) rentals. The pavilion is also very nice with adequate seating, a basketball hoop, and nearby swing set with sand base. There’s a ton of trails, a nice-sized fishing dock (plus the paddle boat dock that’s no fishing), and several benches surrounding the lake in various spots.
Firewood is available off-site (down the road, currently an honor-box at $5 per bundle). Bonham is nearby for ice/supplies.
Come enjoy this little peace of heaven, you won’t regret it!!

It's an hour drive to this park from the Richardson/Plano area. There are less than 15 campsites with electricity. But they are right by the lake area. Bathrooms are clean and with hot showers. It has a sand volleyball court and a basketball hoop. Kayaks rentals are available but a bit pricey. Hiking trails by the lake are closed due to recent storms but other trails are accessible. My family camps here twice a year and enjoys the quietness of this park.

We just wanted to get out of the house, do some hiking, have a picnic, and look for the 4 geocaches in this park that we hadn't previously found. A sign near the entrance stated that the hiking trails were closed, but when we enquired at the office, we were told they were open for hikers, but not for bikers, so off we went. We hiked quite a lot of the Bois D'Arc trail and part of the Gnarly Root trail, finding all 4 of the geocaches we looked for. We had a quiet lunch along the Bois D'Arc trail at one of the tables built by the CCC around 1934. This trail winds through the woods, connecting a number of the old CCC rock construction projects. Be sure and look for the beaver lodge not far from the lake shore.

Very cozy, small park. Staff is super friendly & helpful. Fourteen spots for RVs, with 2 of them being full hook up. They're all pretty level, so that's good. Large covered pavilion for group gatherings. Swing set, volleyball, & basketball areas. Large grassy area for kids to play. Canoe & paddle boat rentals. Very nice headquarters. Didn't visit the bath house or the tent camping area so I can't really comment on that.

I came to the park to spend some time on the trails and enjoy the solitude of being away from everyone, lol. The Ranger who checked me in was very nice. She provided me with a better map than what I was able to print and provided an overview of the trail conditions for me. The park is small, very small, but they make the most of their space. In all, they have 8 miles of trails, give or take a few tenths of a mile. The trails range from easy to moderate, they are quite beautiful, solitude galore, and will distract you from the rest of the world for a good 5-6 hours. Sadly, I am unable to offer a review of anything else because this was just a day trip for me.
Loved this farm. The customer service from everyone was friendly and helpful. I loved seeing the animals. The desserts from the cafe were so good! Literally worth the 1 hour drive from where we are.

Lavender Ridge Farms is worth a drive, wherever you are. It is so magical and charming, with an almost cottage-like atmosphere. The Cafe there has indoor seating, or outdoor under cute umbrellas. Everything we had was FANTASTIC. The lavender chicken salad blew me away!! And I couldn't leave without buying a gallon of lavender lemonade and lavender tea. The lavender cheesecake was quite a surprise as well. Have I mentioned lavender yet? Because there's a lot of it to go around! They have walking trails through fields of massive flowers beds; lots of hibiscus and butterfly bushes. One of the trails leads back to some animal pens where they keep lemurs and birds, which was super cool to see. That area is shaded and is a nice escape from the sun. They also sell plants, so if you have a green thumb, check out their shop!

It's a very cute farm with a cafe and gift shop. The butterfly garden is well maintained and you can also see donkeys, goats, lemurs, and parrots. There are several areas to sit and enjoy the view The lavender fields will be ready for 2023.

What a wonderful little jewel. We stopped here on a whim, and I'm so happy we did. My favorite 😍 animals are lemurs. They were sleepy babies hiding in their homes, but I loved seeing them anyway. The aviaries are really nice too.
The cafe had a very pleasant menu. Do not fear the tea or desserts. The lavender flavor is pleasant and not at all perfumey. I make my own lavender honey 🍯 ice cream but theirs was better. Tyler was are server and he was a lamb!
The lavender was not in bloom but it was still a fun little side trip. The gift shop had great things and the lavender salve is amazing.
Definitely recommend.

This is the most beautiful place to visit. I never made it into the gift shop but I'm sure there are some cute things in there for your garden. This is a great place to pick up flowering plants for your garden. The lemonade and ice tea is delicious. We visited the lemurs, turkeys, and yellow birds. They were so cute!

Nice little destination. If you like butterflies this is your place! Butterflies and bumblebees throughout the flowers and lavender bushes. This farm is an official Monarch migration Way station, which is pretty cool. Enjoy walking through their butterfly gardens, bird aviary, and check out some lemurs on your way to the quaint shabby-chic style cafe. The menu offered up salads and sandwiches as well as an assortment of lavender inspired beverages. The lavender lemonade was a refreshing treat after walking the paths on the grounds. Don't forget to check out the store. If we had thought to bring a cooler with us, we would have snatched up a gallon of the lavender iced tea and a jar of the lavender vinaigrette!

Made for a great Sunday destination. Drove out just to check this place out. Glad we did. It's out in the middle of nowhere and some fairly rough roads, white rock and paved. Pretty cool place when you get there. Lots of people and cars that surprised us when we arrived. Lots of every kind of plants like a nursery has. Inside is a small store with ALL kinds of fragrances in bottles and lotions as well as other notions. They have a restaurant in back as well as outdoor seating. They have wait staff that are very friendly and wait on you outside. Flavored teas, like Lavender and honey.
Sandwiches and salads. They have an assortment of different animals like a small zoo that you can walk around out back and see. Was a great overall afternoon visit. Highly recommend.

Extremely hot so we didn't get to spend nearly as much time as I would've liked to. But it was such a great place to take my kids, enjoy lunch, and enjoy being outside with nature! Loved the butterfly garden and just want more flowers for my own garden now! I can't wait to go back when it's just a bit cooler.

The whole atmosphere is relaxing! The staff were incredibly nice! The lavenders were being replanted and it was out of season when we went but everything else made up for it. The lavender themed food was a hit at every instance.
Do get the either lavender lemonade or the mix of lemonade and tea. It was a unique flavor with the lavender infused tea/lemonade.
The salad Trio was a nice dish I would order again and again. The honey chicken salad was the best of the three potato salads. The lavender in it was subtle and it complemented the salad well. The vinaigrette dressing was awesome! We bought the dressing because it was good because of the...lavender. ;)
The Hardy Ham and Swiss Sandwich was made well and was warm and cheesy with good quality ham.
The Thai curry pumpkin soup was a good Thai fashioned curry soup but pumpkin. I was surprised how well it melded.
Their cream cheesecake was homemade with lavender. Yum!!
Their brownie sundae (substitute with lavender ice cream.) Double yum!
The animals there were a plus to see at the farm. The lemurs were the coolest animal to see. They "meditate" when the sun hits them.

I felt very welcomed and safe. I was guided through the whole process and had an excellent instructor David & Ruth. He was professional and well experienced. I can’t wait to sky dive again. I even bough another jump before I left. I highly recommend everyone to sky dive and at this place specifically in Texas.

Everyone was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Great instructors that made everyone feel comfortable on our first jump. The staff made sure everything was covered multiple times. They told us that the one negative thing they hear over and over again is, "I wish I had got the video." I can tell you this is 100% true! 2 of my friends got the video package and I did not. I can't tell you how many times I have watched their videos and wished that I had got my own. On my next jump, I will definitely spring for the video package.
My tandem instructor was amazing, he explained everything, never made a move without telling me what he was doing first, and made sure I knew what to expect every step of the way.
5 of us went together, 4 first timers, and we all signed up for another jump already.
I wish the facility was closer to me, but after looking at reviews and talking to other people it's clear that this is worth the drive. There may be some closer, but this facility is hands down the best.

Can’t recommend this place enough! They were awesome, especially for a first timer like me. They gave thorough instruction and insight before we even boarded the plane. I had Daniel as my tandem instructor and Josh as my videographer - they were both such cool guys. The whole staff is friendly and outgoing, they make you feel at home. Definitely add skydiving to your bucket list, it’s unlike anything else you can do in this life! Totally worth the thrill and adventure. Thank you Spaceland!

My first skydive EVER was here a weekend ago! I came here as a friend is currently getting his license and had been asking a few of us to come join him on a weekend. We did and it was the best decision ever. I got the Pro video package ($179 additionally), and while pricey, it is so worth it. Another friend got the ($129 Selfie package) and while it was cute, the quality of the images doesn’t compare to the Pro. The Pro is when another skydiver jumps out the plane at the same as you, but has a GoPro attached to their head. They do a full video montage of the before, during, and after. While the video was cute (it was my first skydive) the pictures on the Go Pro are what really stood out. It was my first skydive and I ended up buying another jump at the end. My instructor, Matthew, was incredibly sweet and super fun!!! So worth it. If you’re on the fence ( the $$$ made me wait a while), definitely go, it’s so worth it.

I recently had my first skydiving experience at Skydive Spaceland Dallas with my friends, and it was nothing short of exhilarating! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a team of professional and amazing jump instructors who put our nerves at ease.
The jump itself was an adrenaline rush like no other. The feeling of freefalling through the sky, with the wind rushing past and the breathtaking view below, was absolutely exhilarating. It's an indescribable thrill that left us all in awe.
The facility itself was top-notch, with a focus on our safety that was reassuring. The staff made sure we were well-prepared and comfortable every step of the way, which added to the overall fantastic experience.
I can't recommend this Skydive Spaceland enough. If you're looking for an unforgettable adventure, with a team of professionals who make you feel safe and an experience that's truly exhilarating, this is the place to go. My friends and I will definitely be returning for more jumps in the future!

Billy and Brandon are such a FUN duo & they each did such a great job of just being so calm, playful, and engaged in a way that made me feel at ease, safe, and comfortable. Brandon has done over 3000 jumps and just his demeanor made me feel assured that he knew what he was doing and that I would be fine (which I was!)! Thank you for such a great experience. He was so enthusiastic- he really has a passion for skydiving and thoroughly enjoys introducing it to first-timers, such as myself. Moreover, he focuses on safety, which made me feel relaxed, confident, and comfortable. Juancho, another wonderful team member, captured some terrific pictures and video. This was my first time skydiving and it was AMAZING. When I got there I wasn’t 100% sure what to expect but they told me all about how it’s going to be, common misconceptions, and made me very excited to jump. My instructor, Camilo, was super friendly, fun, and matched my energy very well. I had a videographer, Josh, as well as I wanted to capture my first jump forever. He was also super cool and made my time very enjoyable with the interviews and pictures and they both had very excited, this is going to be very fun type of demeanors and that really makes you feel a lot better and less worried about everything as well. Everything also felt very safe as they triple check your harness and go over everything that you have to do and they handle most of the main parts. The jump itself was also awesome. I could feel that Camilo had done this a million times and he had me so I could just enjoy the fall and making a fun video with Josh. The parachute did not hurt to open or anything and was actually more fun than I thought it would be. Actually learning how to control a parachute was cool and we did little turns and stuff that I enjoyed. The landing was also smoother than I imagined and was super light and easy. Overall I plan to do this again and I would suggest anyone reading this to go do it yourself as it’s an exciting, fun, super unique experience that you won’t get anywhere else. And shoutout Camilo and Josh for giving me a super fun time.

We have been visiting Eden Hill for the past few years now. It is by far the best Winery in North Texas. The wines are amazing! The Staff is so helpful and friendly. It's the perfect spot to hop in the car on a Saturday, take a scenic drive in the country, and enjoy some great wines with friends or family. Clark & Linda are the owners and are some of the nicest people I have ever met. The wines are very reasonably priced and they also offer custom cheese trays that are delicious. They have frequent events including live music, sip & shop events, holiday events, and much more. If you haven't taken the time to visit this beautiful winery in Celina, TX, then I highly recommend you take the time to do so. You won't be disappointed!

For such a small area, you get to see a wide variety of animals. This is a great family activity. Staff were very polite and helpful. Unlike a traditional zoo, this is not an all day trip. In my opinion, 2-3 hours is sufficient. We were able to see most of the animals close up.

It was an amazing experience at the ranch. Our 2 year old had a lot of fun petting some of the animals and feeding most of them and so did I. The ranch was fairly clean given the fact that there are so ny kinds of animals there. The smell was not bad either. The prices for the adults ($15) amd parking ($5) was reasonable I think. Children under 3 are free to enter. Most of the farm animals were active and interactive but the lions, tiger, kangaroo, hyena and bear were mostly sleeping during our 2 hour visit. The prices for the feed was reasonable as well ($10 for 4 bags or $3 for 1). Overall it was a great experience. I thought that the tours were confusing to track and locate and there were not enough staffs present. The ones that were present were friendly.
Would definitely be interested to go again on a slightly less hotter day.

Kite surfing professionals. The wind in the north side was heavy, so it is the perfect spot for kite surfing

This was my first time camping. We reserved a primitive camping spot at the hawthorn circle close by the lake and has a firewood grill. We went for a swim in the lake in the evening. This place has a water tap nearby for bathing as well. We could also spot some deer walking through our camp site. Overall it was a very good experience.

Beautiful state park, loved swimming in the lake. I haven't camped there yet but my brother and sister-in-law have and the camp sites are beautiful. The park staff are super friendly and helpful. Great place.

A very nice state park. The walking trails are paved, which is nice for the older ones and makes it easy for bikes and even wheel chairs. Our site was well maintained, and the rangers were friendly. The beach was awesome, and the water quality was the best I've seen in a Texas lake. Bring sand toys for the kids.
The only negative, which was out of the park's control, was an impatient camper at the dump station who seemed to have 150 years of camping experience.
Watch out for the ants for sure!!!
There is no park store, but Pilot Point is nearby and likely has anything you forgot. The Dam Store has great minnows.

My family has been here twice in the past month camping in the Hawthorne primitive sites. We love it! Sites are beautiful and both sites we stayed at were on the water. We love fishing and the sound of the water at night so it was perfect for us. Park employees are all so friendly as well and facilities are kept clean. Beautiful Texas State Park! ❤️

Beautiful State Park. It was our first time to visit. We actually just stopped in to explore and have a picnic lunch but after seeing how beautiful the swimming & beach area is, we will definitely be returning. We also stopped off at the Amphitheatre on our way out to watch a snake presentation put on by the Rangers. Ranger Lane, Ranger Mindy and Sharon (hopefully I got that right) all seemed so fun, energetic, and enthusiastic about educating the kids on snakes.

One of the best park to visit during summer. Kindly do online reservations it's not mandatory but most of the times it was fully reserved during weekends even we went twice and redirected to different place due to fully reserved on the online. Getting the place to sit near and around the swim place is also based on first come first server basis and mostly it's occupied. Be early to get your perfect spot. Have fun and Enjoy your day with family and friends👍

Wife and I spent 3 days here in our motorhome. Deer ridge spot 58. Absolutely beautiful. We were treated to fiery sunsets and a painting quality view of the lake. The dog and I walked several of the many hiking paths and watched the deer that are many and not afraid of the people or dogs. All around delightful experience.

Well day spend at #RayRpbertLakeStatePark. This is really well maintained park ample of space for kids to play and enjoy. Attaching map for more details. $7 per adults (13 years and above) there are several places to visit in between before visiting to the final spot, camping is allowed to the designated areas . We missed a sunset but I am damn sure sunset view would be better as this lake is located at south west. You can bring your bike for trail, do swimming at your own risk, skiing, boating and fishing.
This lovely space to visit for a day with group.

Deer here are like rats, there's SO MANY!!! We go camping here ALL THE TIME! It's so beautiful, the water is clear, the trails are amazing and lots of them are paved so wheelchair accessible which is very handy, and bikes are easy to ride here. It's beautiful, lots of critters and deer, it's definitely one of our favorite parks to go to. If your looking for a great family experience GO HERE!! Showers and bathrooms are extremely clean as well!!

Get early to the tables because they fill up fast. Love the hiking trails but they get muddy fast. BEST lake to go boating but stick to the south side. The secret beach is nice too!

We spent a day at the lake walking and photographing wildlife. The sidewalk-like hiking trails were exactly what we needed, since my partner's back injuries limit his ability to do rough terrain these days.
Really enjoyed our visit. The Ranger at the front gate was friendly and informative. The beach was clean. The bathrooms were tidy and stocked.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the $7 per person cost. That would be prohibitive for a lot of folks, and will keep our visits limited. The State of Texas could do better on pricing.

My daughter, grandsons and I visited Ray Roberts Lake on Labor Day. The Park Ranger we worked with was very informative and friendly. We picked up our Texas State Parks Junior Ranger books and the Texas State Parks Passport Books. We are excited to start collecting our stamps for this passport!! We hiked two of the trails: the Lost Pines Trail and the Randy Bell Scenic Trail. The Lost Pines trail was very sandy, but good views of the lake! We really enjoyed the Randy Bell trail since it was paved the whole way, but there were not really good views of the lake! I would definitely recommend either trail and will return again sometime!

I have been here with my family four times in the past year. It’s a good place to bring your family or have a nice picnic. The bathrooms are horrible, looks like they never get cleaned. Play area is nice, keeps kids busy. Beach is beautiful. Lovely place to watch the sunset.

An amazing state park with beautiful beaches. I was kayaking the whole time i was there but it’s a really nice park for hiking, kayaking or camping. Best thing is it’s only an hour away from DFW.

We've been coming here for 20 yrs and I almost didn't post about it bc it's getting so busy now! So many people are moving to this area and it's getting so crazy busy that it's hard to book a campsite. But it's a beautiful park and well kept, with clean bathrooms, etc. The playground is brand new, after the last one was covered by water after 2015 flooding. My grandkids love the playground.
The only problem I see with the Park is the amount of deer present! There used to be a few here and there, but now they're overrunning the campgrounds! They come "begging" for food. Something really needs to be done to control the deer population, that's why I took one star off

Fantastic state park. Even though I stayed for one night due to being cheaper than staying at a hotel, I still had a fantastic time and definitely would like to visit again.

Did one overnight camping in my car in December 2023. It is a beautiful park with good walking trail. Will have to go back again to finish exploring the park.
Truly Loved this place. Came from Houston for a conference. The ambience was just what we needed. It was beautiful in the inside with beautiful people helping us. If I could give it 5 more stars I would..My favorite was the yellow rose and winarita. Also loved the pizza, charcuterie, and potato salad. Thank you so much for the hospitality.

I love the wine and the atmosphere at all 3 of the locations I've visited, but Greenville is my favorite because of the outdoor area they have, just beautiful. All of the other times I've been here have been stellar. Today was the exception. Wine and food were good again but could have used better service. No one ever came to check on me and see how I was doing, did I want any more, etc. I was planning on ordering another glass with dessert. Eventually, I went inside, but no one was around. Stood there for several minutes. This was today early afternoon. I will come back because you just can't beat half price bottle on Wednesday. However, I am hoping it was just a fluke and service is back to its stellar self. Would have been 5 🌟.

A group of us descended upon Landons as soon as it opened and ended up staying a few hours enjoying our wine tastings and snacks. Kathy was very welcoming and always let us know what to expect next. My absolute favorites were the spinach artichoke chicken flatbread, the chocolate finale wine, and the raspberry wine. Everybody loved the peppadews, and the spinach artichoke dip.

The restaurant is cozy, great for a couples night with ample room for larger parties. The food was very good and the wine was excellent! They recently add a couple of their own craft beers. I liked the bock. It was a little on the hoppy side but had a nice flavor. We will definitely be returning soon!

This is a great winery in Greenville, Texas located in the heart of the city. It is one of the more upscale options available in the surrounding area with a great selection of wines for any palate. It has lots of great seating both inside and out for an enjoyable evening or afternoon gathering.
Its picturesque streets lined with historic buildings, quaint shops, and delightful eateries exude small-town charm. The vibrant atmosphere, coupled with friendly locals, makes every visit a delightful experience. I love visiting Downtown McKinney! The area is very walkable and has the feel of a small town square within a large city. Beautiful historic buildings, several excellent restaurants, antique stores, clothing boutiques, and other unique small businesses. Historic Downtown is built around the courthouse and hosts several festivals throughout the year. Music festivals in the summer, Oktoberfest, and Christmas celebrations to name a few. Parking is a challenge, but there are garages. Lovely way to spend an afternoon/evening in McKinney!

I absolutely LOVE this place. This was my first time to visit the historic town and it did not disappoint!!! The shops were cute and filled with treasures. I went especially to visit the antique stores. I was not disappointed. The Antique Company Mall was amazing. I love how almost all the stores had antique wood flooring that creaked. Next time I go I want to try an eatery. There is lots of free 3 hour parking stalls that line the streets.
The Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary is a venue that offers exhibits featuring animatronic dinosaurs and an 1880s prairie village, as well as nature trails and gardens. Visitors can enjoy interactive activities or explore the different trails offered in the sanctuary. The museum also boasts a collection of live animals such as lemurs and raccoons, making it an ideal destination for families with kids who are interested in wildlife.
Lemurs, and Racoons, and Dinosaurs, Oh my!
My family and I had a great day at this museum and wildlife sanctuary. It offered lots of hands-on interactive activities to keep my son interested, and a lot of reading material to help us learn about everything we were seeing. My son absolutely loves dinosaurs, we were so happy to see that they have an awesome dinosaur trail where each dinosaur along the trail actually moves and make sounds. It was pretty fun to guess what dinosaur we would see next while walking the trail. If you have time, they also have a variety of other trails you can walk as well. The Lemurs were lots of fun to watch.
I highly recommend checking it out for yourself. Great for all ages.

We weren’t impressed. We were told it was stroller friendly but got about halfway through the trail and had to turn around and CARRY my stroller and infant back up the trail. It is not stroller friendly. It was also overgrown with trash and weeds and wasp nests everywhere. I planned on buying the annual family membership but unfortunately, we won’t be back.

These majestic creatures can be spotted at unexpected places (esp. when The Heard is not crowded), it's a delightful surprise to see Bambi and friends!!!
Wished the Butterfly exhibit was open, but it wasn't at this time...🦋
Nevertheless, family will definitely come back and visit more often now that it's spring. It's best to get the annual membership to gain access again and again without paying for the museum fees each time.

If you have small kids, I’d recommend good walking shoes for them sunscreen and water. It’s a very good place to go hiking. If that’s what you’re into you see nature and just the smell out there. There is a gift shop, classrooms and a lot of land to cover.

This ATSC member museum has a small but jam packed collection. There were rooms with plesiosaur and mosasaur fossils, shell collections, snakes, screech owls, and more. Outside the indoor museum is a large wildlife preserve (nearly 300 acres) with wetlands, prairies, and forests. Through these lands are several miles of trails. We walked the Bluestem Trail (0.5 mile one way) to the Wood Duck Trail (0.9 mile loop). On the Wood Duck Trail, we were able to walk out onto the wetlands on a boardwalk where we found a covered bench to sit on and watch the ducks in the distance. Behind us was a log with a number of turtles sunning themselves. We continued along the trail along some a prairie until we came back to the beginning. Just before rejoining the Bluestem Trail, there is a pond called the Bullfrog Pond where we took some more pictures.

We came during the fall and it was beautiful. It was great weather to be outdoors but would not recommend during hot Texas summer. The young lady who did our animal group presentation wasn't that great. Very bland and seemed kind of moody. Also seemed like she had no experience around kids. She wouldn't even let the kids pet the animals. Where as other employees had done the opposite. We enjoyed the fossils inside and dino walk was pretty fun. Rating one less star because some of the animals seemed unhappy in their enclosures and did not enjoy seeing a jar full of dead turtles.

The Little Chapel in-the-Woods is a historic and beautiful venue that offers a unique and intimate setting for weddings. The staff provided exceptional support during the pandemic, offering live broadcast options for remote guests. The chapel's rich history and natural beauty make it an ideal location for a wedding, with minimal need for additional decorations. While the venue may be slightly challenging to find, guests ultimately found their way, and coordinators were on hand to assist anyone who needed help.
This chapel is so gorgeous. Dedicated by Eleanor Roosevelt in 1939, it is worth a trip to the TWU campus just to see the beautiful stained glass windows - each showcasing educated women, with the largest window showing the roles of a mother. It is such a great piece of Denton history.

I went to TWU for both my Bachelor's and Graduate degrees and lived in the family housing on campus with my 2 young children during that time. So, naturally, it was my dream to be married in the Little Chapel in the Woods. One year prior to graduation my dream became a reality and my children were in the wedding and the Chapel was so beautiful and magical and just the right size for me and my family and friends. It was absolutely magical. I wouldn't have chosen anywhere else to spend the one of the most memorable days of my life.

If you’re getting married and still deciding to have a wedding at a particular venue then I say this… STOP AND LOOK NO FURTHER. The PRICE, the DECOR, the HISTORY of this venue and beauty is something that cannot be passed up. The acoustics are amazing and the ambience is to die for. Our wedding was very special. Small to medium to large weddings can be accommodated for here. The price is sub $1000.00 which is UNHEARD OF in DFW for this quality of venue is to die for. The staff is very professional as well. We had a fantastic wedding ceremony which we use entire friends and family thought was MAGICAL.

The Little Chapel is special to my family because my parents married there in 1952 when my mother was a student. The chapel is such an important part of Denton and TWU history. My daughter chose the chapel for her wedding in May because of these things. Everything went well when reserving the chapel. As the wedding neared we weren’t notified our original contact person would be on maternity leave and it took quite a while of trying to contact someone to finally be told who was taking over for her. A simple email giving us that information would have been helpful. The student assistant who was now our contact person made things frustrating and added to an already stressful time. There was a lack of communication and knowledge about what was going on. We were given incorrect information two weeks before the wedding that there was not enough room for the tables and buffet to be set up as had been approved previously. We were told the dance floor could not be made smaller and the buffet would have to be placed in the hallway. We were finally told this information was not true by someone else in the office and were told things could be done as previously planned. The last two weeks before the wedding were very frustrating. Most questions were answered with “I don’t know” and no effort was made to find the answer. Getting married is an important life even and those taking care of this day at The Little Chapel should be knowledgeable and professional.

As an alumna, having my wedding ceremony here was a dream come true! Nobody needs me to tell them how absolutely beautiful the space is - I didn’t bring in a single flower or ribbon of decoration and just let the chapel speak for itself and had zero regrets. Everyone we worked with, including our day-of attendant Maria, was wonderful, helpful, and kind. Absolutely would recommend it!
Note: We had a very large wedding party (seven on each side) - working out positioning was tricky, but gratefully one of my bridesmaids was able to help us figure it out because her sister got married there years before - I’ll include a picture in case anyone is trying to solve the same issue!

I had my wedding here and it was the best experience. My wedding happened during the pandemic and the staff made such a stressful time so easy. They have a live broadcast option which allowed my family that couldn't make it due to the pandemic, able to watch from home. I received my undergraduate degree from here so getting married here made it that much more special. This place has a lot of history and is just so beautiful that you don't even need to decorate it. The chapel is a bit hard to find but my guests seemed to figure it out. My Grandparents did get lost but the coordinators saved the day. Anyone that wants an intimate wedding should get married here. I do suggested that you get a wedding photographer that is familiar with the grounds because it is so beautiful here and my photographer didn't do it justice.

Toyota Stadium is a sprawling 145-acre complex that serves as the home stadium for the professional soccer team, FC Dallas. The stadium boasts an impressive atmosphere for watching soccer matches, with DJs playing music before games and a laid-back vibe among fans. The parking is easily accessible and going through security is hassle-free. Clean bathrooms are available throughout the complex. On Military Appreciation Night, there were fireworks after the game that were well-received by attendees.
I sat on the first row in Section 130 and caught a first half hat trick. So close to the action it was amazing. Parking was close to the entry and going through security was fast. FC Dallas games are Very family friendly. There is Tons of parking and restaurants close by. There are plenty of indoor food options to get out of the heat and good seats aren’t too expensive especially compared to other Dallas sports. Season tickets are a great investment!

Great stadium. It's not a big stadium, so all seats have a great view of the field, no seat is too far. I prefer to have a more angled view of the game, so the higher seats are actually better for me, since the stadium is small. However, if you prefer to be very close to the players, the lower seats are the best option, as they are very close to the field. Food is not too expensive and from time to time they have $1 hot dogs and $3 beers. Great experience overall.

Watched FC Dallas vs Seattle Sounders. Ended with a drone and firework show. Accessible stadium and decent food options. We were in 113T and it was very very loud with the band below.traffic and out of stadium is not easy. Tickets are $25 per person and parking is $10 per car.

FC Dallas game was a ton of fun! Good concession options and clean stadium. Was a really good game and crowd was fun! What made this experience even better was a member of their sales team reached out to my husband to find out how our experience was with personable engagement and shared they would be able to help with discounts and offered a tour of the National Soccer Hall of Fame the next time we were able to go to a game. Thanks Parker, the follow up was awesome! Great experience!

We love coming to FC Dallas Games! Food is great. Fans are great! Great entertainment for the family. So many things for the kids to do and tickets are very reasonably priced!
We recommend everyone to go to at least go to one game!

Overall a nice stadium. Their supporters section was pretty weak, and fans a little quiet. On sunny days the majority of the stands are in the shade towards the end of the day. All the seats seem good. Always a few fans that are jerks to away fans without cause, but that's anywhere. Water is 6 each but again that's everywhere. Had fun even in a loss.

Great atmosphere to see the soccer, football and other events. Wear bug spray since there are tiny ants. Was bitten a couple of times. Love the drone and fireworks shows after the games.

Enjoyed the Toyota Stadium experience as I watched SDSU defeat Montana in the FCS Championship game. Parking plentiful nearby and free. The stadium needs to mark each seating more clearly though. It was difficult to find the right seating section given the densely packed crowd.

I went to a pre-season game against DC United and enjoyed everything. The cold was a bit too much, but FC Dallas won so it was worth it. Parking was OK, service was pretty good as well, and security wasn't too bad either. Traffic could be improved in and out of the stadium, but nothing we couldn't handle.
The food could have been better (I got hotdogs, a pretzel, and chicken strips) since it seemed as if it had been sitting for a while)

Toyota Stadium is more than just a sports venue; it's an experience. The vibrant atmosphere, modern facilities, and community engagement make it a must-visit. The comfortable seating, great views, and fantastic food options ensure a memorable time. From the moment you arrive to the final whistle, it's an experience that's tough to beat. Whether you're a sports fan or not, Toyota Stadium has something for everyone.

The Toyota Stadium is cozy, and wherever you go, there are great seats to watch a soccer game. The food is moderately priced compared to other MLS stadiums, but I wish they had more variety. The atmosphere is loud and fun, with plenty of action throughout the stadium. Improvements can definitely be made to the parking situation and traffic control. There were too many people darting out in the middle of lanes, and there were only a few police officers controlling traffic. Arriving at the game wasn't much of a hassle, but we paid the $30 parking fee, so there was definitely convenience there. We would have arrived late if we had gone to the cheaper parking area where there was a lot of traffic congestion. The stadium is also confusing in terms of how to get around. Some places were stores or bars, and others were only accessible to members. There were no clear signs indicating the pathways. The Hall of Fame is a nice touch, and I wish we could have explored it more. It's a nice add-on if you're a fan of American soccer. The theme night we attended was Star Wars night, and having a drone show after the game with fireworks was the cherry on top of a great experience. If they can fix their traffic issues, they'll easily be a top 5 soccer stadium.

Nice facility, easy to navigate, overall clean and well maintained. It is open air, so bring a jacket on chilly nights. The band playing through the whole game was awesome! The unlimited food/ drinks was a decent selection. And the drone show at the end was cute.
The National Videogame Museum showcases the history of video games, featuring interactive exhibits that showcase classic machines and consoles. Visitors can play many old consoles and computers, providing a trip down memory lane for long-term video game fans. The museum also has an arcade where visitors can enjoy playing old games. Scores are reset nightly to ensure all players have a chance to compete fairly. It's an enjoyable experience for anyone interested in the evolution of video gaming technology over time.
Love this place! Beyond video games, there is so much nostalgia from the different eras and its not a museum, it's an experience. The attention to detail is incredible. When you pass through the 80s themed bedroom, party attention to the sheets, accessories and open the drawers, there are California raisin and garbage pail kids trading cards! I hope the visitors respect the space so that future visitors can appreciate the effort that went into making this gem! You can play unlimited consoles and get 8 coins per person to hit up the arcade with the option to purchase more. The music is on point and the vibe makes you feel like you're going back in time.
We have an annual membership which is well worth the price. We also let our boys pick out something fun in the gift shoppe every visit to be able to give back. Prices are reasonable for a museum shop and we are helping to keep this place running. We discover something new every time we go! I enjoy going here with my family.
It is a little crowded on the weekend, longer wait times for games but still worth checking out. Wait to get in was 3 minutes, line moves fast.

What a amazing blast from the past of all of our childhood. What a great setup and interactive experience with all the gaming systems. It was so cool to see all those fun gaming systems from our time as kids. The arcade was super cool. Just like as a kid at the mall. A great place to visit.

My family and I had a great time and being a child of the 80s, it definitely brought back good nostalgia feelings. There were plenty of people but we were able to get around the entire place without trouble.
I wish there was more information about more current video games and their influence (I work in the video games industry), but maybe that will happen if they continue to expand. We all loved the arcade and it's vintage games.
It's a very cool place to take your young kids. The earlier you go the better.

This visit was a fun trip to the past. So many old consoles and computers were playable. What a nice surprise. My oldest son really enjoyed the tour, about an hour long, and felt that he learned a lot, which is excellent as a long term video game fan. It was fun to see consoles and computers I had as a kid and play in some of the games again. As well, we all had a lot of fun playing the old games in the arcade. They must reset the scores nightly as I got high score on my favorite game. I'm good but not that good! A great day!

This place was awesome! My wife and I went on a Thursday morning. There are many interactive spots in the museum where you can play old video games. Since we went on a Thursday morning, there was only one other couple so we really could linger and enjoy all the games. This included a gigantic pong, tetras on a game boy, and many others. My wife ended up spending 45 min on original Oregon Trail.
Additionally, you will get a few coins to an old school arcade and there is a small gift shop with some pretty cool video game related items.
I cannot recommend this place enough if you grew up playing video games. So much nostalgia! I’ve paid far more for access to museums and places that I’ve not enjoyed nearly as much. Highly recommend!!!

This place is one of my all time favorites! As a matter of fact Id love to get married here some day! It's like stepping in to an 80s time warp and I cannot get enough of it! I recommend this for adults and kids! Especially for adults that are still kids inside! 😂

This was awesome. Brought our kids here for their 11th birthday and man was it great.
Talk about a flashback to my childhood.
Absolutely loved all the games you could play. At the end there is even an arcade but honestly I spent more time playing the games in the museum part itself.
We spent a couple hours there but easily could have spent more. (My hubs was ready to go)
Highly recommend!
We will be going back!

Best is some versions are in working order. Being a 80s / 90s kid, it was a trip down the memory lane. Took my young kids and they loved it. There is a fully operational arcade at the end where you can enjoy some classic games. Must visit for old and young ...

Quite a rabbit hole down into the youth of many visitors. The youngest of our group, though, ended with the latest game device most sticky—the smart phone. Celebrate the technological advances or mourn the loss of a simpler way to play.
I spent most time with Pong and Hamburger.

Hands on fun while you learn about everything video game related! A well curated experience with impressive displays. We enjoyed exploring all of the memorabilia and games. Admission comes with tokens to play the arcade games and more modern games in the back room. A one time visit would be enough to see everything this museum has to offer but it really is a must see!

If you’re a video game lover you have to come to the place! They have every video game ever made and a lot of them you can play! I played Tetris on a Game Boy today!!! You can touch everything, they just ask that you’re respectful. Admission includes token to play games but a lot of the older games don’t need tokens to play. Go early there was a very long like when I went around 3pm. Line is totally worth the wait and it moves quickly. I was very impressed and would highly recommend it.
The bathrooms have a changing table for kids.

It's a pretty small museum, but the content is good. They really have a solid collection of vintage consoles and related hardware. It has a written, guided walkthrough on the walls, but the best part of it is the truly 80s-like arcade at the end. You get four tokens with the reasonable admission cost and can buy more. Everything is a quarter and well worth it. It was crowded when we were there and felt like and old school arcade. We loved it. Overall, with the reasonable admission cost I find it well worth the 2 hours of time it takes you to get through it.
Logan Dunn — Google review
It was fun looking at all the old systems and there were tons of interactive gaming systems set up to try out throughout the museum. There is an arcade at the end where you get 4 plays with your tickets to the museum. You can pay to play more games in the arcade if you wish. The gift shop was disappointing with a small selection of merchandise.

Absolutely loved this place. Well organized, so much nostalgia and even arcades to play at the end. The price of admission comes with several arcade tokens to use at their retro arcade area with 80’s music playing. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area. Just a nice happy place.
Within the same complex, there is a model train museum and a kids play/learning area. All separate from the VGM, but it’s nice to know that you can really spend a whole day in this complex. The restrooms in this complex are clean, and baby friendly.

What a fun spot! Super informative throughout & so many consoles & gadgets to look at & play with throughout the museum! Very fun walk through nostalgic times with my husband & kids. This is truly a fun spot for the WHOLE family, even if you’re not a “gamer”. It’s a perfect little spot to go if you have time to kill or just want to get out & about for a bit. I also appreciated the price, it was fair for the experience & also included 4 tokens per person to use in the arcade (full of super fun classics for all ages!) at the end!

I'm not much of a gamer but this was a great visit. I loved looking through the lens of how the evolution of this industry happened. I didn't realize there would be so many interactive games you can play and look at all the different devices through the years. There's a big Pong game you can play that's right near the entrance that is a must play. At the end of the exhibit you can use the tokens given to you when you pay the entrance and play old school videogames. I would recommend coming early since it gets crowded and you may not have access to everything.
Southfork Ranch was the setting for the original Dallas TV series and now offers tours, more. The ranch is famous for its stunning surroundings and role in the show. If youre old enough to remember the show, you can visit Southfork Ranch to explore its sprawling mansion and relive your favourite scenes from the show.
The day at the ranch was so exciting! We started by meeting with Bette the event planner, and she guided us to the different areas which was very helpful. We learned a lot about the horses from Donna who was very informative. The horse ride was good and relaxing. The lunch was delicious and they had a variety of options. The tour of the Ewing mansion was great as well. Bette and Donna were very nice and friendly and they really made the tour of the ranch a wonderful experience.

Had a scheduled horse ride on a typical Saturday with my boyfriend. We showed up to the spot to meet and no one was to be found. We tried going into the shop and the doors were locked. Mind you this was a 2:30pm ride and the last ride starts at 4pm. So we decided to wait around and see if we could join with the 4pm group. We waited in the car for over and hour and no one ever showed up. We tried to call but there is no one to talk to when you call because it is all automated. My boyfriend tried multiple times to get in contact with them via email and phone and never got a response. He then tried to revoke the charge on his card that he paid with and Southfork claimed they gave us a tour, so the money was not refunded. We never spoke to anyone from the ranch or were able to get in contact with them. A very disappointing experience to say the least.

Seeing Southfork has been on my bucket list since the 80s when I watched the show in Germany with my parents. Watching Dallas was my first introduction to American culture. My experience clearly wasn't unique because our tour group consisted of people from all over the world, and only one American couple. I had expected we would be the only visitors but quite to the contrary, there were bus loads of tourists.
From the large parking lot, you fist enter a modern visitor center where souvenirs and tour tickets are sold. There is a small museum with pictures, video and props from the show. The gun used to shoot JR anyone? A white tram then takes you to the house, with some commentary along the way. The house is so small in real life. Both our tram driver and our tour guide were engaging and made the tour interesting by telling stories about filming, both about the stars and the actual owners. Turns out only outdoor scenes were actually filmed here in the summer. Pictures are allowed everywhere, you can even sit at the famous breakfast table and have your picture taken by the pool. After the tour you are free to roam the grounds and see Jock Ewings' car in a side building. On the way out, we took some pictures in front of 'gate 3" the famous Southfork gate seen in every episode that faces the main road. Even my husband, who has never seen the show, enjoyed the experience. Look Mom, I went to Southfork!

Although I did not go on the tour I will give the location a five star for nostalgia. The gift shop was you average gift shop with photos of the Dallas cast hanging in the walls. The staff was friendly and helpful. I could not do the tour because I had other plans but I will be back. It was nice seeing the house that the 70’s and 80’s America saw on TV. You probably would enjoy it more if you have seen the show like I have.

We initially went to the Southfork ranch to check out their “Trade Days”, which happens the weekend preceding the 4th Monday of every month. Parking is $5 cash
There were lots of different local vendors (e.g., handmade bags, soaps, candles, baked goods, and vintage kitchenware) as well as some vendors that sold items auctioned off of Amazon return pallets.
The trade days were alright, nothing exciting, or spectacular.
While we were at the Southfork ranch, we decided to tour the mansion to where the famous “Dallas” tv show was filed in the 70s-00s! Cannot believe that show lasted 14 + seasons! If you go to the trade days, you get $5 off of admissions to the mansion tour.
Since there were over 20 of us in the group, the tour guide gave a very detailed history in the sitting room (due to the group size) inside the mansion. Afterwards, you are free to roam the mansion. The TV show didn’t actually film inside this mansion, but it was nice to see the exterior of the house where the show was filmed!
The ranch is open to the public to rent for private events, as well as spend the night! You can even make an appointment with one of the tour guides so they can spoon feed you more facts during your stay pretending to be an Ewing!

I was a child when the series was on.
As an adult now I understand what it was all about.
This tour is unexpectedly great fun and I have to admit a lifetime experience for those who knew about the series and watched at least a couple of episodes.
You need at least half a day for the tour and for the museum to see everything but if you are a fan you can spend a whole day easily.
Many times Fehér are organized activities on the farm like horse riding or different kind of exhibitions.
If you hesitate go for it you won’t regret that is for sure.

This tour has always been on my 'bucket list' because I watched the show as a kid. It didn't disappoint. The guide was great, adding lots of fun facts about the original owners, the production of the show, and the property itself. The house is really showing its age and needs some good TLC, which is unfortunate to see. That being said, I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who watched the show and wants a big hit of nostalgia.

Well if you're a Dallas fan and want to visit a bit of history you won't be all too disappointed. The house itself isn't what you will remember seeing from the show. The exterior and some of the rooms on the first floor are nice and kept somewhat nice. The back patio and the breakfast table are original and nearly 50 yrs old. Folks the show is long gone and just the opportunity to go in itself is worth the $16 tour fee.

While this place is interesting and worth a visit if you are a healthy adult fan, the house tour guide was absolutely not accommodating or polite to an elderly lady with mobility issues or to a child who didn’t seem to be bothering anyone but her. Overall there were 10 people in our tour and 6 of them were dismissed by the tour guide… while the child was “politely” dismissed. The lady with mobility issues was really pointed out to the rest of our group as “not being able to get off the tram”. Young people and people with disabilities matter too. They paid the same price as everyone else. So. They pocketed the $98 in tour tickets for these people and did not provide an adequate experience in any way.
I will say the tractor/tram driver was extremely nice and pleasant and helped the elderly lady off the tram and they provided a golf cart when she was ready to go back. Two stars for this reason only. Otherwise negative stars.
This woman came to this tour for a reason. She did not deserve to be treated this way. She should have been included and not made to feel like she is “less” because she is disabled. This treatment is what keeps people sitting at home rather than experiencing life and seeing things that have meaning to them.
Do better.
The grounds were nice to walk. I just can’t get over the treatment of that woman. Even if I can possibly overlook the treatment of the child, who could have cared less if he got the tour or not

Attended Mother Day Brunch here. What a mismanaged event. Severely understaffed. Lines with 40+ people at omelette station. Noone seated us; we were left to fend for ourselves in finding a table that hadnt already been claimed. Not enough seating. No butter to be found, no salt/pepper to be found. Certainly not worth the $60 a head it cost. I'd put this on par with a $20 Golden Corral brunch. Servers only cleared plates, didn't serve water or any drinks.

I toured Southfork Ranch in October 2023. You can pay a lot to go through a tour company or simply buy your own ticket in the gift shop, no reservations required. While you wait for a tram that takes you to the mansion, you have time to visit a small museum of interesting displays (pages of scripts from the show, the set prop "gun" that shot J.R., Lucie's wedding dress, etc). Every hour (10:15, 11:15, etc.) a tram leaves from the gift shop to take you to the mansion. Here we were met by Gayle, who gave an intro of the mansion and grounds, and shared lots of fun facts about the show. Then we were on our own to stroll the mansion and grounds. Gayle was terrific and even took photos of us in front of the mansion. If you were a fan of the show, you'll enjoy this tour.

My visit to South Fork Ranch in Dallas was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks in large part to our guide, Gayle . From the moment we arrived, Gayle enthusiasm and knowledge about the ranch and its history were palpable, making her the perfect ambassador for the iconic Dallas location.
Gayle passion for the subject matter was impressive , as she expertly guided us through the various sites on the ranch while sharing fascinating insights about the filming of the Dallas TV show. Her engaging storytelling brought the show’s legacy to life, making it feel as though we were stepping into the world of the Ewings ourselves.
What truly made our experience unforgettable was Gayle personalized attention to detail, especially considering it was my sister’s birthday. She took the time to make the day extra special for her, sharing additional anecdotes and behind-the-scenes tidbits that made the tour even more meaningful.
Overall, our time at South Fork Ranch exceeded all expectations, and Gayle played a pivotal role in making it a truly memorable occasion. Her warmth, expertise, and genuine care for her guests ensured that our visit was not just informative, but also a delightful and unforgettable experience. If you’re ever in Dallas and have the chance to visit South Fork Ranch, be sure to ask for Gayle – she’s the epitome of hospitality and professionalism.

The paved trails are perfect for walking, jogging, or biking, while the unpaved trails offer a more challenging hike. The off-road bike trail is a great place to test your skills and get some exercise.
It also has a number of other amenities, including a covered pavilion, a playground, and restrooms. The pavilion is a great place to have a picnic or host a special event. The playground is perfect for kids of all ages, and the restrooms are convenient for visitors.

Gorgeous bluebonnet wildflowers and nice hiking trails as well as accessible, paved walkways with great shade from the Texas sun. For the eclipse, this park was perfect - shade covers, water, restrooms, safe and excellent views. Parking is extremely limited. The overflow parking lot on Vista was much much less crowded on eclipse day than even the preceding Sunday surprisingly. Overall, great park. Would return on future visits to DFW

Really well-kept trail for families and friends to hang out. There are also off the beaten path trails for the adventurous! The good thing is: all trails go around so you will not get lost. And the open space plus many people walking around make you feel safe; unlike some other trails in Dallas where you feel like someone could jump you at any corner! The trail is also kept clean and free of trash. And in some parts, you get a nice view of the city!

This Park is awesome, you can reserve a covered table , or if is not being used eat there. They have a grill. I think they have 3 or 4 covered areas. They have a playground 🛝 for the little ones. A bike trail and a walking trail. The view is breathtaking. Lloyd of people out there. The sound of nature is something else, the creek is beautiful. Saw lots of people taking professional pictures. Lots of parking space, and most importantly they have restrooms. I totally loved it . Plus the park was very clean . Good job. I give it a thumbs up 👍

Great and amazing for walking if you love nature trails! They have both nature trails and paved trails. Me and my dog love to walk in the nature trails, and so much more to explore that we have to come back another day. We did not have many pics for the paved trail, but they look pretty and wide! Many people would ride their bicycles.
Beautiful place in the middle of the city and for some get lost in the wood moment ❤️
I visit during weekday late afternoon. Weekends often packed!
Definitely and highly recommend! Hope you enjoy this place just like my dog and I do!

What a beautiful place! The walking paths were well maintained. The off the concrete paths also were very well marked and seemed adventurous. This park had biking, walking and exercise areas. Along with special sitting places and so much more! The photographers were out in full force in just about every area you could see after awhile. Come early! VERY early, to avoid the crowds which will gather as the morning continues.

As far as trails go, it cannot get any easier. It is often visited, has a parking lot, plenty of signs and maps so you won't get lost. Some areas even have seating, a look out.
You can download the map on your phone as well of the website. The distance of trails are quite short and plenty of options to take detours.
The area right as you head in (beginning with the Indian creek trail) are all shaded and quite a few options to take, but as I mentioned these trails are short distances.
I would recommend venturing further into the area and taking the scenic routes as you can get through the entire place in about 1 and a half to 2 hours.
As far as trails in the DFW area, this one is easy for a day out with family, kids and pets. As always, wear sunscreen and proper shoes to avoid slipping and climbing if you choose to take the wooded paths.

Arbor Hills Nature Preserve has a few thousand acres under its belt, and provides a lot of nature goodies - wildflowers, nature trails, paved trails, a watchtower where you can view the whole preserve, and a big pavilion at the main entrance that boasts a lot of tables.
Oh, and the pavilion has outlets for you to charge your phone, too. Another cherry on top.
The fun is really when you begin hiking down the nature trails. There is a section of the park called "Riparian Forest." It consists of a lot of shaded trees and a running stream, which will make your body feel cool despite how hot Texas summers can be. You will also catch tiny, cute waterfalls there along the eastern edge of the preserve.
Arbor Hills Nature Preserve is a must-see place for a well maintained, clean, and vast hiking experience.

Beautiful park. We went here with our cub scouts for a hike. There is poison ivy, but that was good for our purposes cause we wanted the kids to be able to identify it.
It's really neat how they have it split into different zones like prairie and wetlands. It gives a great opportunity to teach about those things.
The kids had fun on the playground afterward. The pavilions made a fabulous meeting place. We really enjoyed it 😀.

Great spot for a morning walk, stayed for about 40 mins on the paved pathway. Lots of individuals out getting their morning exercise. I felt safe as a young single female. There's lots of flowers during this time (July). Loved getting to see some of North Texas nature. Lots more trails/paths to explore for next time!

Really nice nature park and it’s very huge. One has to visit quite a few time to cover all the trail. Parking area is large and washrooms are clean . Have a play area and picnic area. Well followed map located at every important point. Off-road and concrete both trails are available . This gonna be my frequent weekend long walk place.

Great spot to go for walks and jogs. I was looking for a place to trail run and this was the closest to home. Most of the park is paved but there's enough space along the sidewalks for anyone wearing trail runners.
A few strips of trail lead into the creek, with spots where you can go down to the water.
The park was filled with people going for a walk with their dogs and family. Doesn't feel as crowded when you're on the trails as it seems when you're in the parking lot.

A hidden gem in Plano! Great forest preserve with a variety of trails (paved, walking dirt paths, regular bike trails and dirt bike trails) with great wheelchair accessibility and dog-friendly! The trails are clean, and garbage receptacles are available along the trail (but widely spaced).
There is also a great open field where we saw many couples/friends/families take pictures. A large, wheelchair accessible playground is also available, with both regular bathrooms and family bathrooms. Fair warning: as of this post, the general bathrooms have toilet seats with seat covers missing, so if you are not able to squat/hover, use a family bathroom (those toilets have plastic seat attachments).
Parking can also be tricky during busy times, but the turnover of spaces is relatively regular/frequent. Highly recommend parking into your space backwards (rear first), as there are many unaware/carefree people and children walking behind the cars.
Otherwise, great trails with large trees, lots of shade, and fun surprises like small streams. Definitely a place to take the whole family!

Such a great park! You can get lost in the trail system out here & either stay on well-groomed trails or take the path less traveled on dirt paths. There’s also a great playground for the kids with slides & swings.

Wow! This place was busy on Sunday. It was well kept and the paths wide for many people to walk at the same time. There was an observation tower, bathrooms, and a playground. The ice cream trucks were out today, and we got some popsicles! So much fun. I highly recommend if you’re nearby.

Arbor Hills Nature Reserve is truly lovely. I mostly go for long walks to exercise out the stress of the work day. The path is cement, and it mostly stays clean. It’s a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, located centrally, with plenty of parking. There’s an area for kids to play and pets seem to be welcome, as long as you clean up after both. lol. You never know who you’ll see or get a free smile, and it’s very harmonious and peaceful, with lots of natural rock, water features, and varieties of plants and trees.

This is small trail nature preserve in Plano area, good place to spent around 2 hours. We visited during winter time so wasn’t that colorful. I guess summer or fall would be a better choice. You may see some ice-cream trucks nearby other than pls plan alternate options for food. There is a small children’s play area/park near the parking place.
Edit
Revise during spring and it was awesome. Take small trails you could explore small creeks and wooden bridges 👍🏼

Found peace amidst the Plano sprawl at Arbor Hills! Loved the variety of trails, from easy strolls to adventurous hikes. Observation tower view is stunning! Perfect escape for anyone seeking nature in the city. Just remember to bring water and wear comfy shoes!

Beautiful park in the City of Plano, TX. It has lots of trees, trails, and a bike (or walk) path, which meanders around with gentle slope up and down. There are streams with bridges and culverts. It is truly a gem to visit. A lot of people walk, run, and bike in the natural surroundings. You can see families with children and pets. It is a popular park.
There is a play area for children and areas for birthday parties, game parties, or just plain get-togethers.
There is no entrance fee or parking fee. Since this is a very popular park, it does get a lot of visitors on weekends and holidays. It may be difficult to find parking unless you arrive early before noon or late in the afternoon.

It’s a real nice nature trail park to get some exercise in! 10/10 recommend now that most of the park is open, bike trails are closed right now because of the recent rain/terrain conditions.

Beautiful place to walk and hike. So many trails that can almost get lost. It's a popular place so expect to see a lot of other people on the weekend, especially if the weather is nice... but even when it's packed there is still plenty of room to roam!

Great place for walk and feel fresh. If you have pets you should take them here for good nice walk. We enjoyed the moment of silence and peace in here. Shall be back soon when everything is more green. Its a beautiful place.
Incredible experience. I purchased a gift certificate for my husband and brother in law for Christmas. They operated both the excavator and bulldozer. The experience was seamless from booking to scheduling to day of. The operators had tons of fun and had sufficient time to get the hang of each piece of equipment. The instructor Dave was knowledgeable and very well versed in his guidance. As spectators, we were very comfortable. There are covered picnic tables at each equipment stop - each well positions for close up views of the action. The spot is an easy drive from Dallas. All around highly recommend!

Extreme Sandbox is a place you can do extreme things with large construction vehicles. Ever wondered what it feels like to drive heavy machinery? Well wonder no further with Extreme Sandbox!
I went with my best friend and he had a great time there. There are several vehicles that one can use to push things or even destroy them. Their is the option of the Wheeler Loader, Excavator, and Bulldozer.
The staff was very professional and nice. A headset is given to the operator of the vehicle and the guide helps them through the process. The operator guide, directs the operators so there is no chance of an accident happening as long as you listen to the operators.
There is also air conditioning in the construction vehicles as well.
One of the great things about them is they have package deals as well. And one could potentially go with a group as well. Another cool aspect about the Extreme Sandbox package deals is that you even have the opportunity of destroying a vehicle if you would like to do that.
Family and friends are also allowed to view the vehicles outside if they want to watch you operate a large vehicle.
It's not an everyday thing where you can just drive a bulldozer or excavator. So if you ever dreamed of doing something like that, I would highly recommend Extreme Sandbox!

This was so much fun!! My wife got me a gift certificate for my birthday and, because I didn’t want to have all the fun, we upgraded—dueling excavators! Really great fun. Only kinda wish we’d done two pieces of equipment. The excavator is awesome, but now I want to try the bulldozer. I’m thinking we’ll be back.

Got a package for my husband for our anniversary. He had an amazing time, and can't wait to go back. His instructor was Zac, and he was so talented. He spent all day there and said he was never bored. There was stuff to do that was equally challenging and fun. Highly suggest going. There are also places for families to sit and observe. Our 10 month old son had lots of fun watching!

BIG BIRTHDAY SURPRISE! This year for my Birthday Jessica told me she had a big surprise for me, but wouldn’t tell me what it was! I literally had no idea what it was going to be but when we got there it was EXTREME SANDBOX!!! This is business that lets you PLAY with genuine Komatsu construction equipment!!! I’ve always been wanted to do this since I saw a similar concept in Las Vegas, Jessica took a mental note and had been planning the surprise!
She bought me the “Excavator Package” which is 60 minutes in a Komatsu PC-290! This thing was so powerful and fun to play with! It cut through the dirt like BUTTER and made it seem nearly effortless to dig a huge hole. Controlling the excavator is a lot like a 30 ton RC car, or makes a lot of sense once you get going.
The precision on the bucket was so good I was able to knock tennis balls off of cones, play basketball with the teeth, and even PICK UP A CADILLAC! I also got to drive the machine around obstacles, up and down hills etc. It’s like a tank!
The weather was VERY cold hit luckily for me the inside of the cab was climate controlled, and I was even wearing a headset where the instructor could help tell me what to do. They even gave Jessica a headset too so she could listen in on the fun!
This was a AWESOME gift idea and I would absolutely recommended it to anyone who was ever curious what operating heavy equipment was like. If you’ve ever fantasized about “goofing off” in a massive piece of machinery then this is the first experience for you!
I’ll never forget my 38th Birthday!!! Awesome! Thank you Jessica! 🎉

This was an terrific experience. The instructors were super helpful and quickly got us up to speed. We ran the excavator and the loader. It was not as hard as expected but took a while to get the hang of it. Good spots for spectators and I enjoyed watching the kids almost as much as driving the machines.

We had a great time celebrating my husband's birthday yesterday! They did a good job with the mini-training session and allowing the guests to have some freedom to really explore the equipment and enjoy themselves! This smile says it all!

Extreme Sandbox is an awesome experience!! My friend and I went and shared the Ultimate Sandbox package, and we already want to go back. Dave was awesome to work with. We were on the excavators and bulldozers. We had multiple head to head competitions, for technical skill and speed. You have a headset which is connected to your friend's headset as well as the employees, this made communication easy and fun while working the equipment. The time flew by so fast. I highly recommend Extreme Sandbox, it is worth the money!

Do yourself a favor and have the pizza - I would sell a limb for the prosciutto and arugula one! The clubhouse is older, but the food is always on point and reasonably priced. Service is decent, but it server/bartender-dependent. The course itself is pretty average, but the range definitely needs work. Carts are gas-powered and loud.

Brought a friend to play here who was visiting from out of state, and I was more than disappointed with the course.
I've been playing here often since I moved to Texas 2 years ago. As a veteran, I was rather disappointed to hear that the military discount was no longer offered. I believe $124 weekend rate is a little steep for the current course conditions. Quite a few tee boxes were unkept and some greens looked like the pic posted below of the 18th green. I'll go play The Tribute before I come back here. Hope it returns back to former conditions.

The course was great for the weather and the staff inside was friendly. My only issue was when I played the beer girl was taking shots with the group in front of us. She said she was the beer cart manager. Crazy. Management needs to do a better job with their staff.

Nice course in Denton County, but a tad expensive. Found the greens, tee boxes and fairways in good, but not great shape. Pace of play was just over 4.5 hours on a weekday afternoon. For me, a GolfNow "hot deal" makes it worth the drive from Dallas to play.

Brdlewood golf club is a public course in the rural northern Dallas area. Par 72 and over 7100yrds from the back tees, the course winds comfortably through beautiful neighborhoods.
The course was recommended as a qaulity public golf option that would not disappoint with qaulity greens and interesting shot options.
After playing I can agree that these are some of the best public greens I've played in Dallas. The course was laid out very interestingly using bunkering, elevation, water and trees expertly to penalize and steer the golfer. Several holes there were options to go for it or play safe, never making the golfer play only one way.
I have to give the course a 4.5 as there were a few holes with ground under repair that needed help but definitely not permanent issues. The staff was 5 stars and great personable fellows.
A must play if anywhere near, worth an hr drive to try, excellent.

Great food and ice cream also very kind waitress and pleasant experience overall. Would recommend eating at the restaurant anytime even if you’re not going golfing definitely would come back here again. I recommend getting the Bridlewood burger with the fries or the chips. Course is ok. Layout isn't bad. The condition is that of a muni. The staff is rude, especially the ones in the clubhouse! Wouldn't feed the food there to a dog that I hated! These people want premium prices for a mediocre course with miserable staff! They've seen their last dollar from me!

First time to play, the practice area's are wonderful. The greens were perfect rolled fast, fairways very wet and some tee boxes were lacking grass.

Do NOT order their pizza! This is the second time we have ordered from them and have had rancid meat. We discovered why…they put their meat in containers that sit out for who knows how long. Not only did one of our guest puke after eating a piece of their Calabrese but another guest got food poisoning. This time we decided to take the pizza back and ask for our money back. We spent over $80 at this business and the manager told us he can’t give us money back for his rancid pizza but he could give us a pizza coupon (really?). Unsatisfactory business! While we sat and waited for him to retrieve the coupon we watched him and his kitchen staff pick up the meat from the container with their bare hands and smell the meat close to their nose and face. Then they laughed and put the meat back in the container. This was extremely unsanitary and disgusting. I recommend to go somewhere else to buy pizza unless you are looking for a good case of food poisoning!

We jumped on a hot tee time through golf now. Tee time was at 1253. Only $15 per person plus taxes and fees! It's about one hour and 10 min drive but I've always wanted to come play this course. The pro shop guys were nice and let us go off early! Cart path only and some mud balls due to all the rain we've been getting, but we loved it! Perfect weather, cool and cloudy. I bet this course is amazing when it dries up. I would recommend and would definitely play again. Thanks Bridlewood.

Course is nice but the staff working at the range needs to be more professional. They will let their "friends" continue to hit after hours but kickout everyone else. Its already hard to come out after work since the range closes at 5:00 pm these days.
Had our work end of year Holiday party here and it was fun. We were split into 3 groups and played. Harold and crew were fun and very accommodating. We brought our own food, we had the party in their lounge area and we hung out and did our white elephant gift exchange.
When we wanted a certain music genre, they accommodated us. When we needed the music down or off, they did that too. Great staff, great atmosphere, fun rooms and great concept. The price was $32 per person.

It was great! We've never done anything like this before and it was an incredibly fun outing! We had a great time with our family. We lucked out with a Groupon and had the entire Pathogen room to ourselves. We did eventually get out but only because the staff was great and extended us by 10 minutes! I loved that the did a debrief with us after. Overall it was pretty cool and we'd recommend it!

We had an excellent time at Escape This. As a group of 3, we debated between an escape room where we could participate as a small group versus one like Escape This where we would be paired with others. We eventually decided on Escape This. Me and my brother and sister were paired with a family with a relatively young (for an escape room) child, but all had a great time. I loved the policies on "lifelines" and "code checks" which left the escape room challenging enough to take the full hour (we escaped in 57 minutes I think) but not so challenging that it was an impossible task with our group. The staff was friendly and the entire experience was a 5/5 stars.

Great time! Went with a large group and the staff coordinated everything well. The staff is passionate about the business, which increased our excitement for the mystery. The rooms are uniquely designed by the staff and nothing like other escape rooms. I love supporting local businesses and this is certainly doing so.
We did the epicurean room. It was challenging, but doable. We went for a date night/birthday celebration and it was a blast. I think it took more logic than creativity, and required teamwork to complete it within an hour. Definitely recommend Escape This!

This place is awesome. We did the Society room and actually finished which we weren't expecting and it was really cool. It was hard but if you focus and divide up your teams to work on different clues it's feasible. The staff was really kind and helpful and they made the experience a lot of fun. Will definitely be returning to do the other rooms!!!
Heidi Knapp — Google review
The staff are all very nice and extremely helpful! They went over all of the rules very thoroughly with us in the beginning and made sure we all understood the instructions and they were extremely supportive of my group while we were in the escape room. They also took the time to debrief with us after we escaped the room and showed us different ways in which we could have solved puzzles and escaped faster. The escape room was different but very fun, and forced us to think outside the box, to use critical thinking skills, and to work together as a group in order to find the solution that would let us out of the room. I highly recommend Escape This to anyone looking for a challenge, team building, or just a good time! Thanks for the fun time and for making it a special experience!! 😁

This was my first time doing an escape room. There’s a lot of these businesses now in the area, but this one seemed to have more solid reviews (IMO). I definitely think it was a great call. We did Pathogen and Alex was our host. It took us just over an hour to get out (so I think that means we lost) but it was a really great time! The clues were challenging but not too hard. Alex was awesome in offering help when we needed but not giving away so much that it ruined the experience. I’d definitely come back to this place, and maybe even try one of their more challenging rooms (even if it means we don’t get out in time.. lol). I liked how after it was over, Alex actually walked us through the room to show us the short cuts and some of the clues we missed. Overall, a great time!! 😊👍🏽

Galleria Dallas is a 3-level shopping mall with department stores, dining, shops, and a skating rink all under one roof. It is known for its large variety of shops, from international brands like Le Creuset to American Girl. There is also a hotel on site and plenty of food options.
Beautiful Mall! Loved the variety of shops & especially the ice-skating rink! ⛸️⛸️

Big mall with a nice small play area for kids 4 and under. Also have an ice rink with plenty of food!
Great place to kill time with kids during rainy days.
I rated it a 3 because the food options were not very good and I mean for a big mall like this, they had few amenities to entertain kids so we could at least shop around .

Haven't been here in about a decade. The surrounding areas have declined significantly. The houseless have migrated into the parking garages and there was no security in sight.
