Wow! Wow! That’s literally what comes to mind when I think of this place! I love it. It’s just a few dollars more than the roach trap hotels around the same area and the accommodations here are amazing! The staff are the friendliest bunch of people I have ever experienced and have gone out of their way to make me comfortable. The casino next door is very nice as well. Not really my thing, but the food available in the casino section is really good and really fair priced. I highly recommend u try this place out!

Went there for Thanksgiving lunch/dinner buffet. The food was very well prepared, my hats off to the chef and his crew. The front of house staff also did a great job, very personable and friendly, good service. Stayed for a little while after and played the machines, they all seemed pretty tight and not a lot of winning going on, could be because it was still kind of early. Will be back one day.

Only stayed once, but it was wonderful. Service & Staff is friendly. They have a cauliflower crust pizza that is good. But, the outer edge they get burnt because otherwise the center doesn't get done. When Bistro first opened and we tried it. It wasn't burnt. I tried telling them that. Games are fun. Do have 2 other places to eat.

One of my best casino world wide hands down from customer service, to the pay and clean restroom restaurant haven't tried but I'm pretty sure the food is fantastic. I love the fact they stay working and making sure you are OK if you needed anything. For the workers keep up the great work🙌👍

My Daughter and me are the Easter buffet there today. We had never been before to that casino. We both were very impressed by the service and the food. The best part was not overly crowded and for spacious. The veggies were cooked perfect. I had the Waldorf salad too it was the best I ever have had. The prime rib was cooked great. The fruit was just ripe too.

We had a wonderful time there. I wanted to check out the Truckers lounge. I was, way more than surprised, at what we saw. I expected slot machines. I was very wrong! It is an old farm house and inside was remodeled very elegantly!! Not a slot machine in sight. T.V. room, laundry room, computer, showers!! I think they turned a couple bedrooms into showers! They are huge!! Toilet, sink, shower and enough room to do cartwheels.
We played some blackjack and the dealers were very friendly, as expected. Didn't win but had a few hours of fun entertainment. Our room was nice and the bed was comfortable. We live 1/2 hour away and will most likely spend more nights there.

The first place where a truck driver is treated with respect, and welcomed with open arms! Free breakfast with my overnight stay. All food was hot, and good, just like home. Thank U one and all for a GREAT experience.
The only change I would make. A Non - Smoking section in the casino!
David Hornberger — Google review
As a truck driver, this is most definitely my favorite casino to visit. Truck drivers get treated like we are nothing but trash in most places. Not here, we are treated with great respect. They have created a awesome drivers lounge for us. It is equipped with showers and sitting area. You can shower once a day free, and up to 3 loads of laundry done per day free. The casino gives drivers a $10 food voucher every day. And every morning drivers may go to the hotel and eat breakfast for free. Now this doesn’t sound like much to so, but for a driver who spends a couple months away from home working. This is just enough to recharge the batteries. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I have been driving for over 25 years. And hand down my favorite stop.
Richard Long — Google review
The people that work here are very friendly. The showers were clean and very nice. The laundry machines were very nice. Ten dollars for a 12 dollar buffet. It had steak, salmon, mashed potatoes, 7 different kinds of cake. It was beyond an awesome experience. Whoever is making decisions here knows how to run a business. Thank you for the charity. Thank you Jesus!

Great place to stay, it is right beside the casino and you can even get a shuttle to and from if necessary. The resort is very nice and clean with excellent staff. They have a full breakfast in the morning that will be served to you just say what you want and the amazing host/server with get it for you and or bring it to your table. Breakfast stops at 11am.
Buffalo Run accommodation also includes truckers. They have plenty of truck parking, showers and complimentary $10 voucher every 24hrs for cdl holders and plenty more. Also $25 free play for 1st timers. But you have to play at least $10 to get the free play.
They also have indoor top golf and 2 restaurants and an 24hr bistro that is very good. They have plenty of games to choose from and actual gambling tables.
I have been to a few other casinos here in the area and so far Buffalo Run Casino and Resort is my favorite.
Brian Adkins — Google review
Great casino really is and especially if you're a trucker, one of the few that respects us! They have a truckers lounge where you can have your laundry done, beautiful shower room and a voucher for $10 for food each day I believe. Plenty of parking. Also I had a suite room when on a 34 hr reset there and the food was great and the room was pretty nice and big! Room was close to 5 star rating but this hotel definitely deserves 5 stars especially for being considerate and respectful.
James Crosby — Google review
I had a good time, while doing my 34hr restart. Not as good as the last time, about 6 weeks ago. I didn't have any luck at the Blackjack table this time. I don't like where they moved all the table games into a side room. I liked it better when they were on the main floor area. Feels like it lost the ambiance it had before!!

As A Truck Driver this is my go to spot when on the Toll road. Plenty of parking, nice modern yet cheap hotel rooms for guest and Drivers. The food is good. They have a new Drivers lounge. Which is awesome! But I like playing the slots, and the staff is very friendly and helpful!

Signs all say more jackpots more winning more fun. Well I didn't win anything no jackpot for sure so not much fun. I know you won't win every time but don't claim to have loose slots if they are tight and don't really pay out. I couldn't even break even. I will say it's a nice casino and staff was great but a casino makes to much money to not let you win more than you do. Overall not a bad place just don't expect to win or break even. You might get lucky who knows.

This place is beautiful and cozy. There was ample parking for my truck and trailer. The front desk was so helpful and accommodating. The rooms are really nice with fancy showers. I will definitely be back my next roadtrip. T

Took my son and family here for his birthday and wanted to treat them with nice meal....
Was told 35 minute wait which was way over an hour, no biggie. We all had lots of questions about menu and waiter did great job with it. Got our drinks and salad and he was waiting a new table that came in, he took them their drinks and bread, told us he would bring ours in bit... felt like the other table was more important. We get our food and 3 out of 4 dishes are like warm to cold. Very disappointed, because could of been very good. Flavours were there but big bite of cold gravy on mine, cold chicken for pasta was not good. Waiter did comp free dessert, but would rather had hot meal. The boys were starving and ate theirs, but my daughter and I took home so we could hear and eat it hot.
Would of been nice to been checked on by mgmt about the experience.

It was so refreshing to have a business that shows appreciation to truckers. I was really impressed with the free showers, free laundry, free casino credits, free truck parking in a clean and roomy lot, and a $10 meal voucher. You make it easy for me to give 5 stars 🌟. Thank you so much for the love.🙏🏾

This place is awesome! Employees are extremely friendly. I'm a trucker and this place goes above and beyond to make sure truckers are made to feel welcome.
I lost $800 last time I was there, but it was worth it. I had a great time winning and losing . I had an absolutely great meal. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area and have spare time

I had a great stay here with my family last weekend. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms were generously sized, clean and comfortable. The tiled walk-in showers were very nice. I also enjoyed the gift shop and morning coffee in the lobby dining area. Too bad we didn't stay during weekdays when the breakfast buffet is open. However the food at the 3 casino restaurants next-door was really good with generous portions. Overall a great deal!
Susannah Skye — Google review
All staff in every area are super nice. Big wins every once in a while. Usually enough to keep you alive & have some fun. By the way, they LOVE truckers! They provide ample parking, a separate building with showers & lounge, and their CDL discount isn't just 10%. It's $10 every 24 hours. We always stop here for the night whenever we have the chance.
Dennis Wesselman — Google review
I was given a room with toilet running, fridge door would not shut due to all the frost build up and a napkin behind tv stand. I asked to be put in a different room they refused my request. I checked out.
We love truckers not. I've stayed here other times this was the worst experience ever. I always make it a point to stop when on the area. That ends today.
JR Rocamora — Google review
Used to be my favorite place to stop. I'm a truck driver and used to love the truckers lounge. It's 10:00 in the morning, ain't no coffee made and can't do laundry because Desmond the worker is using all the machines for herself. I think I'll find me another favorite place to stop. Looks like she's doing her personal laundry. I didn't know they were allowed to do that as employees.
Charles Cook — Google review
Exceptional! I looked at the other reviews before going and thought it was too good to be true. This is a truckers paradise. The machines are loose and the staff is super friendly. They made our first visit a good one and we cannot wait to come back. Free showers and laundry for truck drivers. They also give you a $10 food voucher as well as free play on your first visit. Buffalo Run, you have us forever and I look forward to returning. Thanks for a fun time.
Jessica Hudson — Google review
Def lots of good parking for truckers, casino is nice inside, however, the Trucker Lounge is only open from 0700-2200, 7 days a week, but on the Sunday we were here, someone didn't show up to work, so no restrooms/shower access. The roving Security guy gladly took husband to the casino, because it's a pretty far walk. Hope we get to use the facilities next time.

Super cute place ! Their Christmas trees were so cute ! Checking in at the front desk was quick and smooth. The lady checking us in was very nice ! So far, all of the employess we had interactions with were great !!!! Super nice people. The place is well kept ! Room was great ! No complaints

This was our first visit to Indigo Sky. The casino was a lot nicer than I expected.
Beautiful lobby very clean. Friendly staff. That had a small glitch with credit card reader when we went to check in. Had to go back in a couple of hours. They were so apologetic and truly sorry for the slight inconvenience. The fireplace in the lobby is very cool place to sit around.
The rooms were perfect. Clean and no smoke smell at all. No microwave in the room but there is one just down the hall.
Now down to the casino. I liked it a lot very bright and plenty of machines to choose from. There were plenty of 50 cent and quarter machines.
I won some money and lost some money like any casino. They have three different bar areas and several food places.
The food was very fresh and delicious.
Logan worked the main bar area and she worked very hard to make everyone there happy. She as we’re all of the workers at Indigo Sky very friendly and helpful. Thanked us for coming in.
Overall very pleased with hotel security Resteraunt’s and the machines. I don’t play table games, but I heard lots of yelling in those areas. I never saw a full ash tray.
Got a free backpack, carry bag or garment bag for only 100 player club points. We got two of them. The wife loved her stay there as well. My wife works at a different casino no where close to this one and she to was impressed overall with this casino. Overall loved it I will be back again.

Nice and quiet. Hook-up and go inside to register. All back inside but no problems. Sites are level. Free shuttle to casino. Would stop again if in the area. Places to eat inside.

One of my favorite places to gamble at a casino since we moved to Missouri. We drive 2 hours to come to this casino.. There is a restaurant in the back not the one in the corner but the one next to it has great buffalo wings and drinks and at the bar there are slots to play while eating and usually we do ok on thought slots too. The hotel rooms are to standard for the price rating and don't offer your tubs inside any of the rooms

LOVE, LOVE this Casino! Only Casino that lets you play the games and see what they can do (bonuses/free games). Well worth the 2 1/2 hr drive from KC. Only Casino we go to, don't like the casino's in KC. We go to Indigo Sky about 2-3 times a month. They have the BEST STAFF, super nice and helpful, Travis Morgan is our Host and he is awesome. Indigo Sky is the Best Casino around the KC/Oklahoma area in my opinion. The hotel rooms are great, clean and comfy. Dinning is great too, the food is very good. This is a must TRY Casino. We always have fun there and ALWAYS tell friends and family about Indigo.
My husband and I love this Casino! We are from Kansas City and we drive the 2 hr 45 minutes to Indigo, well worth the drive! Casino is clean, don’t ever smell smoke and we are smokers, plenty of ash trays never have to look for one like you do in most casinos, staff is nice and helpful, hotel is beautiful and reasonably priced and the slot games are fun, tons of games to pick from!

Decent casino for what it is payouts can be good just depends on when you are there I I had a great payout on just 20 of a few spins. But this was after going to about 6 different machines. The free sodas and coffee are pretty darn awesome I will say.

Great except didn't win as usual. Not much else in the area for entertainment and possible to win enough to pay for Dinner.
Norman Axelson — Google review
As far as casinos go, it’s just okay. It has a fair selection of games and it’s pretty easy to cash out. A lot of technical issues with games or games being down though. But the staff is decent except the bar staff. Slow and rude covers that part. Awesome food redeems it for them. All you can eat crab night is a little expensive but worth it! I frequent this place and recommend to give it a try. It’s not for everyone though. Gambling addicts should not visit here.

We have our yearly Eastern Shawnee Tribe PowWow near here every year. It is always a beautiful place to stay with the outdoor activities for kids, and of course a huge variety of machines for the adults to play. We love to meet down in the restaurants for lunch. The food and service has always been amazing. I definitely recommend Indigo as a place to spend a nice weekend at. They also have campgrounds for travelers.

we enjoy the indigo sky, my sister goes all rhe time, we try to go once a month, the people are excellent . the hotel rooms are nice and the variety of slot machines is as good as a casino gets, we don't always win, but we tale what we plan to spend. the swimming area is nice as well as the beautiful water fountain area out front. we are by kc mo. and it is still worth the drive. thanks indigo for a great time and place to go

Terrible. Felt like I was paying their bills at the slots. Never said why they were offline now several months later breach comes out. Slots are very tight. Felt like I was paying for something for them. Lipped about the offline. I would have not stayed. Need to do better. Customer service and transparency.

We saw Cody Canada there last night. The venue was wonderful. The staff was super nice. The only thing that could have made the indoor concert venue better was to have restrooms. The restrooms were close by but you had to go out into the casino area. The casino looked nice, clean, and smoke free. We walked through it to get to the concert.
I would definitely go to and concert there. I want to try their restaurant too. There was a line for it when we got there.

I only visited the casino. There is lots of free parking. There are plenty of handicapped spots near the front door. Wheelchair accessible entry, lots of slot machines and a few table games, a bar, restaurant, and unlimited free self-serve coffee, tea, and soft drinks. The wheelchair accessible ladies restroom has many stalls and was very clean. We went on Tuesday and ladies night, from 9:55 to 11:40. There weren't many people there. I'll return.

The casino was a typical casino, the slots look like they were penny slots, but when you bet it can be anywhere from $3.50 to $5.00 per bet. I thought the employees were top notch caring for anyone and at times it seemed they knew people needed help before they asked. As casinos go this was by far the least smoked fill. Even though people were smoking (which bothers my breathing) this place didn't bother me at all. Loved walking around watching, learning, than participating.

No. You will not win at this casino. The guy at the front said if anyone wins he hasn’t heard about it. But it is definitely fun with your friends. Hotel was awesome. Heated pool was awesome and rooms were comfortable. Shower lasted a long long time.

Ate in the restaurant there early afternoon on Saturday. It wasn't all that busy but took awhile to get are food which was lukewarm and had no seasoning. The casino itself had so much cigarette smoke that it made me sick but my boyfriend's mother won 60$

My first visit, to any casino, an had a pretty good experience. Didn't play on machines long was mainly there for a show an visited the bar. Bar did have a bit of a wait but it was pretty busy an look like only 2 people were assisting customers. I had a good time an will be going back in the near future!

Clean, big, amenities! Our studio is loaded with necessities. Can't wait to try breakfast. I hear it's epic.
Karin Ponce — Google review
Was a decent room but there wasn't a microwave in the room and the coffee pot was stashed away. More bothered by the lack of microwave than anything! Although the bedsheets were lackluster to say the least!! I mean $130 a night you would think the fitted sheet would fit the mattress and stay on the one full night sleep. I was not happy with the room for the price. I have stayed in Super 8's that were taking care of better and cost me less to spend a partial night in. I checked in at 2am and left at 9am. All I needed was somewhere to rest for a few hours so I didn't end up a statistic in a ditch in Eastern Kansas. But these greedy folks had to get full dollar value for the room, which would have been fine had the room been immaculate and posh! But it was not a $130 room..

The staff at the desk could care less. We were there for a wedding, couldn't get our room to get ready. And they definitely were not trying to accommodate. Finally at 4, when they said check in was, our suite was still not cleaned, so we didn't get the room we were supposed to after waiting 4 hours in the parking lot with 2 dogs. And we asked a staff member if the were short handed and they said no, full staff.

$5 live craps, that alone gets 4 stars. Doesn’t exist in nearby Oklahoma (does quite a few hours to the west) and to the north you won’t find another $5 craps table until Des Moines (I travel a lot 🤪). Had an absolute blast, the dealers were fun, the non-alcoholic drinks I asked for were free, the place was clean, I walked into the hotel and it seemed fantastic, clean, and upscale compared to the standard area motel. The Caesar’s sports bar looked nice although small. I didn’t try but the restraint looked nice and had a normal priced menu.
I will be back for a stay again soon. Unfortunately I only had an hour free before I had to continue the journey home, in for $300, out for $305 and $12 to the dealers for a fun game. Well managed and personable. I could have flushed the entire $300 and the review would still be 5 stars.
Coming from KC this is an easy drive and would be a fun spot to watch big boxing events, and chiefs games during the day. Every gaming table had a TV playing football right nearby.
Please do not change this $5 game. It’s rare, and in a place as nice as this, it’s a true gem!

I stopped there once before and the food was half decent today. I went there and was absolutely terrible. Worst place I've ever eaten. I'm pretty sure mcdonald's value menu would taste better. While I was waiting on my food. I sat down and put $200 in a machine and didn't even hit one time.

Such an amazing place to go and cut lose, the food is beyond 5 star the bar serves up the best mixed cocktails and the bar maids are so so friendly and did I mention that I have won way way way more than I could have spent at the bar restaurant and gaming floor with hotel fees all included so don't waist your time at those other imitation casinos.. there is only one KANSAS CROSSING

Didn't stay in the hotel.
It's very clean. Very nice staff.
BUT 6 dollar beers? I will not be back because of that. I make decent money, but refuse to pay that if I want a beer. By the time you include a tip, it is 8 bucks for an aluminum can of beer.

I did not stay at the hotel but did have the opportunity to visit the cafe and gambled a bit. I didn't loose too much -- well, maybe a bit (LOL!), but the burger at the café? OMG! If you enjoy a REALLY GOOD BURGER!! I completely recommend it! The best lunch I'd had in a very long time! I hope you're hungry!

Not enough waitresses although the ones you have are courteous. Cleanliness of the machines is usually unacceptable and I wipe my own down. You would have a 5 if not for these reasons.

The food is excellent. The bartender are wonderful and the games keep bringing me back. So definitely a need to go experience!!!!
Sleek lodging offering 2 pools, a casino & a spa, plus a free shuttle to a nearby golf course.
My wife and I visited on a holiday weekend, so it was really full. The gaming was fun and the people watching was amazing. We both lost $20, but it was cheaper than a movie. The incredible thing for me was how the staff sanitized each slot machine after someone used it. We'll go back soon for sure.

4 of us stayed one night. Apparently Valet was not running. This makes sense because of covid and staffing challenges; i recommend having a sign out so that new/infrequent guests know this.
Check in was friendly and smooth. Our room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was low and the hot water was only hot coming out of the handheld wand (handicap accessible room).
I enjoyed the gallery displays as well as the gift shop. We also gambled a little and had fun doing so.
I recommend and would stay again.

Esthetically beautiful hotel, but seriously lacking in pretty basic advertised offerings.
1. In 3 days we never saw housekeeping.
2. Coffee bar hours are 10am - 3pm. Super weird hours for a casino resort. Also...a "large" vanilla latte will set you back $8. It wasn't comparable to any coffee shop quality in any way.
3. The sports bar never opened during our stay.
4. The buffet. Shockingly bad. We went twice to give it another chance. Fail x 2. The cost is $18 per person for dinner buffet. It is very bare. Most stations were empty or just not available at all. After two trips, our group consensus was that the mashed potatoes were the high point. Just...not good and waaaay over-priced for the very limited offerings. There are restaurants 6 miles away...just make the drive, because there is not a good meal option here.
5. Casino. Lots of options, but out of our group...all losses. Slots will bleed you dry. I mean...I just wouldn't bother.
Overall...make the drive to KC if you're looking for a quality casino resort stay. This place is a disappointment on lots of levels.

I just went Mid July for the first time. It was a free room. I was very impressed with the rooms. The beds were super comfortable and the shower was encased in glass, and quite large! You could also heat it, if you choose to. I visited Nee Spa, and had a wonderful experience there. Well worth the money paid. I will be returning ASAP!!!

Decent-sized casino and hotel. We did not stay at the hotel, but did spend some time (and $$$) at the casino.
Happy that the casino offers free-play to new members. Be sure to check the promotions to see if there are any extra incentives for that day. Not all slot machines accept free play however, so be sure to check first.
Dollars-to-points ratio is not great - figure about $5.00 to "earn" one point. There are several hundred slots available, including both class 2 and class 3 games. There are also table games if that's more your speed.
There are a couple of food options, between a steak house or a buffet. The food at the is a good value as it is all-you-can-eat with soups, salads, sides, entrees and desserts.
Had to deduct one star for the indoor smoking - not a fan. Ventilation is moderate and you WILL stink of cigarette and cigar smoke if you spend any amount of time there.

I gave the room a 4 star because first room we have had that did not have hair and makeup area with lights and mirrors. Had to sit at desk to get ready and it was hard because it was to dark lighting.
Rooms are great otherwise.
Casino was good to us. There were 2 couples and we both left with more in our pockets. Always have a good experience there. Food is not great in buffet. We use points or wouldn’t eat there. Steaks are always tough and very little variety for the price.

Downstream made our favorites list. We frequent casinos, (occasionally) and ran into this gem on a Texas- Missouri run. Rooms were large and comfortable. Service was great and friendly. (Did not get chance to sample restaurant.) The whole place was very clean and well taken care of. Slots were loose that night. We'll be back.

Had such a blast staying here a few months back! The Legends Sports Bar was our go to food spot. Great for Burgers and sweet potato fries... they have a sweet honey sauce that is AMAZING. Games are fun and the rooms are very clean and nice. I know plenty of people from Tulsa that go here for a weekend getaway.
I LOVE DOWNSTREAM!

Been here many times, never won over 50.00 but I do know people that have one 20k+ in one night. Food is about par in the sports bar, awesome in the steak house, and usually so-so in the buffet. Service is excellent but slowwww in all. My main complaint is this place is WAY too loud when the band comes on, nobody comes for the band turn the damn volume down. My main draw here is the very cool vibe, the architecture, the bartenders are top notch, the dealers are top notch, and security is everywhere. They are not letting this place go down hill, it’s as good now as it was when it opened!

The casino is very beautiful and spacious. The games are not stacked on top of each other. The buffet was not worth the money. Other guests thought so as well while chatting amongst other customers while dining. Our waiter was very attentive to our table. The grill area of the buffet was not open, and I asked the cook if it was going to open, and he assured me no.

The staff here are all so friendly! We are thankful for the RV sites with water and electric. ( and a spot to dump on the way out). Nice view of the buffalo if they're around. You can call the shuttle to pick you up right from your rig as it is a bit of a walk, especially in the heat. The buffet was pretty good, and the staff there are the friendliest in the whole establishment imo.

If we go to Downstream it's for convenience. I've personally never won any money in the hundreds of times I've been there. The $20 buffet is not good anymore and only worth it if you have resort credits that pay for it all. The rooms are very nice! The little walk up restaurant serves pretty good sandwiches that they change the menu of every now and then.
It's a nice place if you don't want to drive farther into OK. It's rare I see anyone win money unless they bet at least $10/spin.

My husband and I frequent downstream and love the atmosphere and the workers are really friendly. This weekend my son and brother came to visit for my sons 21st. Sunday night into Monday morning we were there at midnight so we could buy our son a drink and everyone just loved it. My son went to the craps table and guy by name Bruce he just could not say anything bad about! Monday night we stayed at the hotel for the first time so our son could enjoy his birthday and just had an amazing time! Rooms were amazing and loved our time, thank you Downstream casino for a great weekend

Overall this was a nice place to visit. The buffet was excellent and Vera was our server, she was from the Ukraine and very pleasant. I did win some money but not enough to make a big deal about. The band was great and the atmosphere enjoyable for the majority of the time. Was there to try and win their million dollar giveaway and didn't get my name called but maybe next time. I do recommend this place. Four stars for the buffet and five to the server Vera.

I am avid gambler. Join many of your promos. Not once have I been called. Or compensated for not winning. The machine are cold as ice and no winning. Need newer, machine so many out their. Get my monthly flyer and my amounts go lower and lower each month. I think it's time to drive further down the road for my fun. Just frustrating.

Free fountain drinks. Great poker room. Good staff. Nice food. Smack dab in the middle of four states. Nice gas station that stocks a lot of limited flavours and has ground bison. What more could you want.

Another fun day at downstream. We love this casino! It's so much fun we go there play and eat, it's like a mini vacation. People working there are always so nice and the food at the Buffet is very good. Huge variety of slots and my husband loves to play blackjack.
We haven't stayed at the hotel yet as we live reasonably close to home.

Didn't stay for the night so I don't know about the rooms, just went mid range. The location is amazing and we had a great time. We had the Thanksgiving buffet and it could have even better but for a buffet it was good. We didn't really require any service except for during lunch but it was good.

I got caught in a snowstorm and didn't want to drive in it so I called to see if I could get a room. Fortunately, a room was available and I sure appreciated that! The busboy as well as the hotel front desk clerk were exceptional! The next morning the housekeeper that was cleaning my floor was doing a great job of cleaning! I was really impressed with my stay!!

Throughout the years the rooms have gotten a bit worn out . In places, the carpeting is frayed and showing age . It’s a beautiful casino /resort but in need of updates .It is obvious that help is hard to find . Services that were once available have diminished and restaurants have left or have limited days and hours. .The quality of the food at the buffet is up and down. The television reception was terrible due to tiling . The best time to come is after the outdoor pool opens .That makes it worth the trip !

I really can't say enough about how wonderful this resort really is!
We had a great time in the casino, winning big a few times!
We loved the decor and our room was amazing! It really felt like we were royalty.
The buffet was delicious and totally worth the price, c which was really reasonable for the amount of food you get.
The pool and hot tub were fantastic.
We can't wait to go back.
The people were so nice too.

This place is by far the biggest casino in the area. Plenty of parking and even parking for semi trucks. They have a buffet all you can eat I had 5 adults and 1 child and the bill was $96.00. Not including a tip. We had the brunch buffet which has so much to choose from you will not be disappointed. The dessert bad is amazing and made fresh daily.
Plenty of slots machines and card tables to where you don’t feel like you have to stay in one place. The staff if very helpful and you get free play when you sign up as a first timer.
My wife and I will definitely be coming back here, it was definitely an enjoyable experience

This place is huge, lots of machines to choose from. I don't think it's possible to get bored here. Great environment, friendly staff, very clean. Can't say much about the payouts because we didn't win. 😂 However, it is a cool place to visit if you have never been here. Didn't stay at the hotel, so we can't speak on it either.

Very little ventilation considering the amount of smoke/smokers present. Every drink ordered from the center bar was terrible. They kept running out of everything and it was difficult to get quick service on what they did have. The live music was a nice feature, but the acoustics made it nearly impossible to enjoy. You can't hear if you're on the other side of the nearest bank of slots. If you're any closer, it's just loud noise that's unbearable to tolerate for too long. The seafood buffet wasn't too bad for the $22 base price. The add-ons (crab legs, lobster tail, steak) were a complete rip-off though. None of our 30+ size group had a winning night. But! The dealers were nice and engaging.

Had fun at the casino, slots was great assortment, stayed at the hotel which was very nice! Husband is wheelchair bound, we got a handicapped room, but the beds sit really high up so he had a struggle transferring to the bed outta his chair, wished the beds sit lower to the ground. Room was clean and inviting. Wished they served a free breakfast and had coffee bar😣

Went last Saturday for the seafood buffet with all you can eat crab legs. Spent $52 dollars per person and the food was horrible. Everything on the bar was overcooked. Crab legs were mushy. Deserts were obviously frozen and dry. Would not recommend. Service was pleasant. Best part of the meal was the steak they added for no additional cost. Would not recommend.
We ended up here after Googling caves near me while visiting Eureka Springs. One review said it was the best cave they had been to so we decided to see if it was for ourselves. This experience was the best! Best tour guide, best cave, best gift shop! Great location and some where I would definitely recommend other going to see. I could have taken a 1000 pictures. We had such a good time! Thank you for putting up with a large crazy group we will never forget it!!!

This was a great stop. Our tour guide, Jackie, was super! They give tours every half hour or so. You can call ahead but reservations are not required. The cave and grounds are well kept. It's not the biggest tour I've been on but we enjoyed it. There are a few steps and some areas under 4ft or so where you will have to duck, but nothing too bad. I'm 6'1 and 230lbs and I squeezed through just fine. They do have salamanders, crawdads and bats in the cave, which is cool. The gift shop and museum are small but nice. Prices were fair for what you get. Thanks again!

The gift shop and museum were very nice. A huge thank you to all those who made this trip so interesting! Highly recommend this destination!

Amazing tour with an amazing tour guide. Very funny and protective of the caves preservation yet also incredibly informative. We saw three out of 5 breeds of salamander and can’t wait to come back for the Wild Tour. It’s amazing that the cave has stayed in the family since its discovery. Whatever pay Cory makes, he deserves more! He goes above and beyond. At the end of our tour, he didn’t hesitate to grab a golf cart to take a man with a cane to his car. Incredible. Please go support this amazing place. 💜

We saw a brochure in our hotel for the cave and my 5 year old wanted to check it out. As his first time exploring a cave, this was a great experience! Boon was an excellent tour guide keeping it fun for everyone and had so much knowledge of the cave and its history! We also enjoyed going through the gem museum and gem hunting. Definitely worth the trip! Thank you for sharing this cave and experience with us!

Bluff Dwellers Cave was an amazing quick day trip for my family. The five of us, all adults, thoroughly enjoyed it. The grounds are very well kept, they have a cool gift shop with historical artifacts and other trinkets, and the tour itself was entertaining and educational. The cave is, in my opinion, beyond cool inside. Such a beautiful place. Our tour guide was Boone, and he was amazing. He was very informative and entertaining, and made sure we stayed aware of everything around us during the tour. The most difficult part of the tour is the stairs when you first arrive. There are some with varying heights, but I was able to navigate, and I do have some difficulty walking in general. The cave is always 56 degrees, and a sweatshirt and jeans were perfectly comfortable. The tour was almost exactly one hour, and we bought tickets on arrival and started the tour within 10-15 mins, enough time to wander around the gift shop and look around. I highly recommend this cave tour!

Loved our experience at Bluff Dwellers cave. We had a private tour experience with Cory (AKA coolest cave dude ever)
Cory knew all the cave animal hiding spots so we were able to see a ton of wildlife, he also was extremely knowledgeable and presented all the information in a fun and exciting way. I absolutely plan on returning with my children. This place is an excellent family experience. There is a lodge located on the premises as well, we didn’t stay but it’s something I plan on looking into our next trip around. There are a TON of caves and state parks in the nearby area.
I will note however because of this attraction being a cave it is not wheelchair or stroller friendly.

I loved this tour! Saw the signs on the side of the road coming from Joplin and decided to stop. I was early, but it was worth the wait. My tour guide, Vianna, was amazing. So many amazing things to see underground. I’m so glad I stopped. One of the coolest things I’ve done on my travels.

Our guide 'Boone' was great, very knowledgeable. The cave is fantastic, this was the second time our family has visited. I took the kids when my daughter was 12 and my son was 3, this time she was 21, he was 12. They loved it both times. I highly recommend purchasing a bag of gems in sand to mine for your gems in the sluice box they have outside the cave. We all had a great time doing that. Lots of good family memories. We will be visiting again and again.

Amazing tour with an awesome guide!
Cory was fun, knowledgeable and the highlight of the tour! He shared facts and history with some (many!) puns sprinkled in!
The hour tour is worth the price. And I’d gladly go back.
My husband and I panned for gemstones and relaxed after the tour. The guides walked by and continued to greet us and check out the stones we found. Everyone was super great from the time we pulled in to the time we left!
Thanks for some great memories in Missouri!

Quite the surprise. We added this cave to our schedule after a suggestion from the owner of the Spanish Treasure cave. It was awesome. Pretty, informative, safe, and the tour guide was great. This ended up being our favorite for the scenery in the cave. The guide was incredible. She was good with the kids, bubbly, patient and did a fantastic job. Worth the trip.

My boyfriend and I visited on our weekend vacation and we had a BLAST. It was his second time visiting and my first time. We were the only two on the tour, which was pretty cool! Our tour guide was awesome, cracking jokes but making sure we learned a lot! I got some awesome shots of the wildlife including a couple salamanders and bats!
We had to do minimal ducking which I was surprised by, and we were on pretty flat ground for the whole cave. We stopped at the gift shop after our tour and checked out the museum and black light room which was pretty interesting!
100% would recommend visiting, even if you have to drive out of the way a bit! Bathrooms are also available before you enter the cave which is a huge plus!

Fun tour, the tour guide was amazing! My 4 and 8 year old really liked it! They planned for treasure and found tons of mineral rocks and lots of "shark teeth" although I think some of them were not shark teeth haha it was still the excitement! We will definitely go back. The guide was funny and educated. We were the only ones there I'm assuming because it was the last hour of the day, but I think it being just us made it even better. The inside of the cave was cool and dark, but the guide had a flashlight that kept it plenty bright inside. The gift shop was a little pricey, but what gift shop isn't. They got some awesome souvenirs and my kids already asked to go back!

While on vacation my husband thought it would be a good idea to check out some caves. Most of them were closed this time of year but this one was open so we gave it a go. So far this was the best part of our trip. We were very nervous bringing our children because theres no touching and no strollers allowed and we didn't know how well they would do. Our tour guide was amazing though and he kept everyone entertained and engaged in the information he shared with us. He made it so much fun and we loved how much he enjoyed his job. We would definitely go back because it was such an awesome experience.

I have been to a lot of caves and this one had some real unique aspects to it. A real hidden gem, I highly recommend it!

Amazing! We came to Miami, Ok from Northern Michigan to visit family, they had never been to Bluff Dwellers Cave. After driving 15 hours to get to Oklahoma, a 50 min drive seemed like salt on a wound. After seeing the beauty of God's creation within this cave, I would walk 15 hours to see it! Highly recommend stopping here!!! Add this item to your bucket list!! The staff and the grandson of the brave explorer that found the cave were exceptional!!! Far surpassed any and every expectation! Laura did a great job as a tour guide, using facts, stories, and some humor! Absolutely stunning cave system, surprisingly low cost for the tour! Our tour guide, Boone, was incredibly informative, funny, and made us all feel right at home. He showed us many beautiful features of the cave, and was knowledgeable about the history of its formation, discovery, and excavation. More importantly, it was obvious he loves his job! I would definitely go again. We detoured about an hour off our main path to see this cave, and it was worth every second!

We visited this cave on a Friday during spring break. It was quiet on location and very peaceful just out front. The gift shop was full of minerals and gemstones as well as other cave related findings! The museum inside the gift shop was very informative, and had lots of artifacts on display. We used the pans to search for minerals and there were SO many stones in the dirt, it was worth the money! My children both crawled the crawl space that was outside several times and enjoyed the entire place.
Our tour guide was Boone and he helped make it a magical, musical, and memorable! He very much knew a lot about the cave and the Native American history of what was there. He shared stories throughout the tour and answered our questions. He was genuinely excited to see an adult salamander living inside the cave, and to show my children the bats that were sleeping. He even took time to explain the unnatural things in the cave that had been put in by man.
We will be back with more friends!

What a wonderful experience. My family and I have visited this place, around eighteen years ago and we recently visited again. If you haven’t heard of this person and his contributions to humanity, this would be a great learning area for adults and children. The building that houses the history behind this man has been updated and is very clean and full of historical information. There is also a large area on the grounds to walk. A trail leads to sites where he grew up. As a historian, I was impressed with the plethora of information here and the significance of his contributions to humanity.

Very nice memorial center at the previous home of George Washington Carver. Carver was a Black Scientist and Inventor who created many things from peanuts and other crops. He found alternative crops for farmers and helped improve their soil quality. He became a Professor at the great HBCU Tuskegee Institute (now Tuskegee University). The center has much about his history including rooms like his lab and classroom at Tuskegee. There are also interactive sections for children. The property includes his former small home and the forests with a 3/4 mile trail he walked daily. A great history lesson.

GWC was a great American and a tremendous inspiration, overcoming tremendous obstacles to rise to the pinnacle of America success... interesting to note that the man whose name he took - Mr. Carver as well as his wife - took in an orphan born of slaves and encouraged him to get an education, taught him to knit and crochet, in a time and place when virulent racism was the rule, not the exception... fascinating life of service...

It's great and you should stop if you have a chance but a little part of me was sad that you couldn't eat peanuts. I guess with all the allergies it makes sense but I was sort of hoping for a Texas Road House vibe. Hahaha.

The concession stand provides affordable snacks, and the audio broadcast quality is excellent, ensuring clear sound. The picture quality is also great, making for an enjoyable experience. I'm sad that there are no speakers, and some people don't follow the no headlights on rule, but it's so worth it to me to buy a portable radio so I can come here with friends! Even the side spots no one seems to want have a good view of the movie! The wall that the movie is projected on to is in great condition so the movie can be seen well. Their concessions are reasonable prices. There's a reason it's packed every time we go! Get there early and bring cash, you'll love it.

I loved going to the drive in when I was growing up!! Had the best times even as an adult. But this last Saturday night 20 min. after the last show started the people beside me started their car with lights on. I tried to notify the guy who took money but he was already gone. And I couldn't find anyone else. Poor experience. Hope that it changes because I would like to go back. I appreciate that this historic place is still available. Thank You.

The ONLY real issue I have with the drive-in is the fact that EVERYONE shows up before 7. Can we just all collectively agree to show up around 7:45, please? It's sooooo annoying to get there at 6:45 and be one of the last cars just waiting 😂
I feel like concessions are getting more expensive, and I get it, but families are more likely to do dinner there if it's not costing too much and with 2 possible movies to stay for, it will just keep people going. Maybe do regular size hotdogs for cheap cheap? Is pizza out of the question? I love that they have pulled pork as an option!
Tickets are still pretty inexpensive, so that's a plus for sure!

Vintage family fun and definitely worth it if you have never been to a drive in. I do wish they still had the speakers on the post because I hate leaving the car battery on that long, but I can understand why they moved to that system. May want to bring a separate radio if that is a concern. Definitely bring lawn chairs and blankets. Great way to see a movie outside your house before the kids are old enough to know how to sit still and be quiet. I always try to buy something from the concession stand to help with their bottom line but you can bring snacks.

I just recently found out about this theater and had a chance to attend. Just a little way off the highway, it is nestled in a nice spot with little distraction. The entire area is gravel, but very smooth. It is also well layed out and had plenty of room. Audio is provided through FM radio, and worked fine. We parked toward the back and the screen was very visible. The concession stand and bathroom is centrally located and clean. The pricing is very good($8 for 2 movies) and concessions are very affordable as well. I would say for the price it is worth every penny and a unique experience. I can't wait to come out again!

Very cool place! We didn't really go for the movies playing, but more for the experience. Didn't stay for the second movie. Very pet friendly. Food is reasonably priced and pretty good for movie theater food, but you can rack up a pretty good bill pretty fast if you get carried away. You can take your own too though. Only thing I would recommend is some kind of rule for people coming late, after dark with their lights on! But I get it. They're still paying customers and it is a business. Just get kind of annoying. Otherwise, very well ran. They have some cool merch too (got a new hat for my collection) but you have to ask about it and I recommend going during one of the movies, when it isn't real busy.

The Precious Moments Chapel is a tourist attraction that boasts of colorful murals inspired by Precious Moments figurines. One can take tours, visit the gift shop and cafe to fully experience this simplistic yet ornate place. The stained glass, wall art and murals are exquisite with a heartwarming story behind it. It's beautiful and heart felt. If you ever suffered the loss of a child this place is emotionally comforting. It is simplistic, ornate and beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We started at the picnic tables out front under the trees to have a picnic lunch on our road trip, then went in to tour the chapel, see the cave look out, and enjoyed a very knowledgeable guided tour of the chapel paintings and history in the chapel. The museum was closed, but maybe on another trip. The gift shop was an enjoyable stop on the way out and we mailed postcards in the giant mailbox before heading out!

Didnt think i would like it but the chapel was incredible. Its a definite stop for anyone. The art work and detail was fantastic. I dont give many 5 stars so its a for real stop. There is a italian restaurant there that was very good not just a fast food place. You wont be disappointed.

The chapel was beautiful. Extreme heat so being outdoors for the walk was a bit hot. Not crowded for a July 4th holiday weekend. It was a self guided tour. The grounds were well manicured and maintained.

If I could rate this special, special place with 100 stars, I sooo would! Everything was absolutely amazing and so beautiful!! My boyfriend has been there many, many times, but this was my first time ever seeing the actual place or hearing the history behind it, which was so cool!! Definitely one of my favorite memories now! The only things I wasn't really a fan of were the Halloween figurines and the skull keychain. Everything else was/is amazing! Honestly, if I could work here, I totally would! I can't post allll the pictures I took, but here are some of them! If can do another review, I'll post some more!

Who would have known a place like this existed? It was charming and very reminiscent of the 90s.
If you collected Precious Moments y o u may as well stop in.
Enjoyed the kind customer service, seeing the many figurines, discovering their mission, and seeing the chapel.

We showed up on a day they were closing early, so we had to walk fast. The chapel is absolutely a must see. The details, the decor, everything is preserved beautifully. If you’re an 80’s kid and remember when they first came out, this place can bring out how nostalgic a heart can be.

So much to do & see. We used to come here all the time when I was younger, so we just had to take my Momma by to see what it was still like. Great Christian place to take the family!

Loved it! You can feel the love put into this art and location. Didn't take a picture of the most beautiful part, the chapel, just because I don't feel comfortable taking pics of places of worship.

Such a sweet, nostalgic stop. Was grateful to learn a lot about the artist from local guides and plenty of space to explore. Cute gift shop and happy to pick up some treasures. Ask about their archive items in the basement!

Such a beautiful chapel and so many things to look at. It’s nice that they have a gift shop. I highly recommend seeing it in person.

Wow. What an amazing place. You really don't need to be religious or even spiritual to appreciate this one. It is an incredibly beautiful of one man's artistic expression of love. Everything is so intricate, so soothing. It's a place where one can genuinely sit in solitude and find peace.
It's free to visit, off the beaten path, and well worth your time. I'm posting many random picture to give kind of a feel for it all but they do not do it justice by any means. I routed my road trip to stop here and I am so glad that I did. Plan to spend at least an hour walking around and just enjoying the beauty of it.

I absolutely enjoyed my visit. The story of how Precious Moments came to be. I thoroughly enjoyed the Chapel. I enjoyed the history, and each painting told a story. It was absolutely amazing the steadfast faith this man has. Thank you for sharing this with us.

What a beautiful experience. First walking up from the parking lot you see the fountain and the horse sculptures and the adorable RV camper off to the side. Going inside to see the life-size figurines. Just really neat. They also have a few different smooshed penny machines which I love. Walking out around the building to get to the church the walkway is lined with more sculptures and another fountain. Love it. The gates are so ornamental. Then proceeding on to the church you're greeted by the gorgeous hand carved doors. And then walking inside it's just overwhelming how amazing the interior is painted. Such detail. And the stories of the bible on display with each painting and stained glass window. Breathtaking! The room of Remembrance and the book there to sign. Just such a meaningful experience. All of it was really great and I'm glad I stayed for the free tour. I really enjoyed learning about the history of Precious Moments and Mr. Butcher (a fellow Michigander). Well worth the time spent here. If you're in the area definitely stop. Really needs to be seen in person.

No cost to enter and has changing tables in both the ladies and men’s bathroom! We took our 2 YO and 1 YO as a place to stretch legs while traveling. It was perfect! They have a beautiful outside part with fountains and statues. The kids also LOVED the chapel and just wanted to sit in the pews pointing out all the things they could see in the HUGE painting. The museum was nice but the kids could have cared less about that part. But everyone we met were so nice and it did a great job of letting my kids get some energy out :)

Beautiful place to visit. Visited from out of state and was very delighted by everything there was to see. There is no cost of entry, but they do recommend any donation. You can expect to see everything in two hours or less. If you’re a Precious Moments enthusiast this is a must see!

There is no cost to enjoy this wonderful place, if you love art and beauty this is a great place to stop for a little walk. Unfortunately the chapel was closed for renovation during our visit but the museum and rest of the grounds were an extremely relaxing place to take a break from driving.
On top of all the wonder this place holds, the bathrooms are exceptionally clean. Next time I go, I will be prepared to buy something from the giftshop.

This was my second time here and I still had a good time. If you like precious moments, this is a must. If you like cute thing, this is also very nice. Entrance was free. Plenty of parking. Learning about the creator of Precious Moments was also very interesting. Going through the visitor center store, history building, the chapel, I spent about 2 hrs. It’s all self paced so it may take you more or less. Some of the best things are free, this is one of them. Definitely worth it. Definitely recommend if you like Precious Moments.

It has been years since I was last here. I enjoyed everything. Lots of good memories.
I was thankful they had wheelchairs available since the electric one I rented for our vacation wouldn't hold a charge.
Red Oak II is a historic community in Carthage, Missouri, featuring buildings bought by artist Lowell Davis. The area includes a general store, church, and cafe and pays tribute to the past of Missouri. It's a cool little town with lots of history inside and is well worth a visit for those interested in exploring the area along the "Mother Road.
This place is so neat. I loved being able to just explore the grounds at my own pace.
Worth the stop for sure

If all the stores, and features of this AWESOME place were up and running it'd get 10 stars on a 5 star review scale. What a showpiece for a labor of love! I got to pet an emu. Hold a tiny baby goat, and see so much artistic talent displayed. Do Not Miss out on A trip to Red Oak II !!!

This museum, about a mile off Route 66 was amazing. I had no idea it was even here as I had not read about it in any Route 66 literature prior to my trip. I only found out about it thanks to the owners of the Best Budget Inn in Carthage (great motel I stayed at).
Red Oak II is such a nice area to park and walk around, looking at all the amazing buildings and artwork. I even spent some time talking to the owner in the gallery / store on the property. She was as sweet as can be and told me a lot about the history of the property.
My favorite house on the property was the skinny house near the pond on the property. It was so beautifully built and I loved looking around inside it.
I'd say Red Oak II is a must visit if driving Route 66 or in the Carthage area. The artwork is amazing and well worth an hour of your time, even if to just stop at and stretch your legs. There is no charge for admission, so be sure to buy something at the store or leave a donation so they can keep this property open for future generations. It's really worth it.

We spent several hours here seeing and enjoying what Lowell Davis had created. We got to talk at length with his widow and really appreciated the time we spent there. We have several pieces of his artwork at home since my wife grew up in Carthage. Do yourself a favor and spend some time here, it is right on the old Route 66 route.

An open air museum considered by some to be a ghost town. Enjoyed walking around and seeing what was there. Well kept, scenic, nostalgic.

This was a great find on our way down Route 66 headed to Oklahoma. We could tell that when Lowell Davis created this he had some grand ideas and we enjoyed taking in the art pieces and old buildings we saw there. A little more information for visitors would be helpful, but overall it was worth the stop!

What an amazing place!! Really quite surreal, it's like being teleported back in time.
It would appear that areas are undergoing construction or renovation, so was only able to walk around.
Didn't see anyone that looked as though they worked there, other than the construction folks to ask questions.
Would've loved to get a drink or food from the cafe, and wish there was some information about the town, but hopefully that's coming soon!
It is a little confusing at times where you can/can't go - appears to be a mix of private and public areas, I was worried at times I might've been trespassing.
But given more time I could've easily spent a bunch of time here!

Red Oak II is a fascinating place. It's a ghost town, but it's not really a ghost town. It's a recreation of a ghost town, created by artist Lowell Davis. Davis grew up in the original Red Oak, Missouri, which was abandoned in the 1950s. He decided to recreate the town on his farm, using old buildings and materials that he found.
Red Oak II is a beautiful place. The buildings are all in good condition, and they're set in a lovely rural setting. It's a great place to take a walk, relax, and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Davis also created a number of sculptures and paintings that are on display at Red Oak II. These works of art are beautiful, and they help to bring the town to life.
If you're interested in history, art, or just want to take a walk in a beautiful setting, I highly recommend visiting Red Oak II. It's a unique place that you won't find anywhere else.
Here are some pros and cons of visiting Red Oak II:
**Pros:**
* Beautiful setting
* Interesting history
* Unique experience
**Cons:**
* Some of the buildings are in need of repair
* It can be a bit of a drive to get there
* Admission is not free
Overall, I think Red Oak II is a great place to visit. It's a unique and interesting place that offers something for everyone.

Americana preserved. This is a unique glimpse into a simpler time and a condensed look back at the Ozarks of the past. Lots of wonderful outsider art scattered along the way that adds whimsey and enchantment to the tour of small-town life from days gone by.

Interesting place, free but would need a little more love

It’s not strictly a ghost town, rather, all the buildings have been brought here from around the country, to be restored and looked after. It’s a really cool place to visit

Found out about this place when eating lunch in Carthage. Must admit it’s quite an exceptional place, and unexpected. We visited during off season and I guess coming during an event would be best. Being and old Air Force pilot the Beech aircraft interested me the most. This aircraft is an WWII veteran.

I found what I believe is a parking spot, then walked the Red Oak 2 loop. It took me about 20 minutes. I was stopping to take pics. The houses and signs are cool/beautiful. The road is a loose gravel which may be hard for wheelchairs. I was unsure if people are allowed to enter the houses, so I did not. This is a nice stop for a quick and scenic diversion.
Beautifully maintained grounds. We were there rather closing time so will be sure to stop again on our next trip to see the inside.

Short, low-key tour of a pretty old house. Presidential birthplaces (and birthplaces in general) are relatively pointless things to commemorate—and yet. God bless our public parks. It’s nice to walk around. It’s nice there’s a house with a sunny upstairs bedroom and you can look around it for a minute. And a cat showed up!

Another beautifully restored service station on Route 66. This one stands out in the fact that the entire property is part of the experience. If you stop, most definitely check out the shop/garage to the right of the gas station. It's a museum of its own.

Of all of the Route 66 fuel stations we visited in KS and MO on 21-22 August 2023, this station in Ash Grove, MO is by far the most complete, comprehensive, and expansive. Originally named the "Gay Parita," this Sinclair Station has four buildings filled with nostalgia, cars, and even an outdoor covered cafe/bar with multiple menu items (as well as a nice little Gift Shop). The owners are very friendly (and even apologised when we arrived during the food restocking). There is a massive Route 66 painted emblem on the road in front of the location.
Unlike other locations that we visited on Route 66, you could easily spend over an hour walking around this location and looking at everything.

ABSOLUTELY A MUST-STOP! We decided to venture, just a little, off HWY 44 & we were so glad we did. There’s so much to see here as it’s filled with tons of Route 66 & other memorabilia. George, the guide and caretaker of this iconic landmark, is one of the most friendly, welcoming people you will ever meet. Go enjoy this hidden treasure! You won’t be sorry!

Back in the early 2003 time frame we could still stop at the old log cabin gas station location; County hwy. 266 and hwy. 96. Only the paved entrance still exits now. About one mile east from Gay Parita Mo. and the Sinclair station. Good memories.
The boat launch and the docks are in great shape , I appreciate the maintenance being done . The parking areas are clean and the out buildings are well kept.

A great place to enjoy a week or weekend on the water. If you know this lake then you know about the sailing. If not, you need to learn about it. One of the premier sailing lakes in the country. It's small enough to not worry about large waves and big enough to not worry about navigating a tight waterway. There seems to be a generous amount of wind to keep your sails full as well. It's more secluded and that been great to keep the large boat traffic to a minimum and honestly, sailboats are probably the biggest boat on the water most of the time.

My intent was to add some photos to my night albums and found the south west area of Stockton Lake to be a great destination. This was the area with the least sky light according to the map I use. There were several scenic areas close to bridges and also ample shore areas to hike around and get various angles for sky and lake pictures. There are wide open lake areas as well as interesting growth around the edges. Deadwood and vegetation make great customers for photographing since they are well disciplined and never complain about long poses. Haha These props of nature and the location near the shorelines also accommodate photo ops without too much travel. It did start to get a little chilly so I appreciated this. :) I would like to return during the day to just enjoy that area I was in and the rest of the lake. It looks like I only saw a small portion. I didn’t get a chance to tour the facilities such as restrooms and any visitor center so I’m not sure how that rates in comparison to other lakes. Once again, this trip was for night photography but next time I’m sure I’ll run into a need for lake services.

Sights & Landmarks
Persimmon Hill Farm is a charming you-pick patch nestled in a serene location, offering a delightful berry-picking experience. Visitors can grab buckets for berry picking and then head inside to weigh and pay. The farm's bakery is a must-visit, with delectable muffins and an array of homemade products like the raspberry habanero jam. The Thunder muffins are particularly raved about for their pure, quality ingredients.
Beautiful farm grounds to go Berry pickin! Finish off the experience with a Thunder Muffin, Scone, Ice Cream, or massive homemade blueberry cinnamon rolls. Friendly service and family owned. NOT TO BE MISSED!

Was recommended to visit the farm, and I’m glad I stopped by! The blueberries aren’t in season right now, but that just meant we got the place all to ourselves. Walked around the farm and got a relaxing lap in. Blueberry muffin was amazing!

I’ve been coming here with my family since I was a little girl and berry picking has always been one of my favorite summer activities. They have vast numbers of blueberry bushes as well as some blackberries, gooseberries, and a few other things. There’s nothing better than picking your own berries, munching on the biggest ones you find to fuel you as you pick, then enjoying a delicious blueberry sleet from their little cafe. This time I branched out and tried their blueberry milkshake which was just as tasty. Can’t forget to mention the cinnamon rolls that are nearly the size of my head!

Bakery- The best blueberry muffins I’ve ever had!! Scones were equally impressive. If you get there and they’re out of items, wait 15 minutes and supply becomes available. Coffee is very good.

I always love coming down here. It’s a beautiful serene drive to this you-pick patch! They’ve got their stations ready for people to pick up their buckets for berries outside and to head inside for weighing and pay when you’re finished. You have to walk right by the bakery & the muffins are AMAZING. They have a small line of products inside that they also make and they’re well worth a try. The raspberry habanero jam is my personal favorite. Love this place, love these muffins & the people are wonderful.

What a wonderful hidden gem! The Thunder muffins are fabulous! You can taste the pure, simple, quality ingredients! They are perfect, don't change a thing! Sadly we came off-season for the blueberry cinnamon roll, but we will for sure be back for them, and some blueberry picking in early summer. Persimmon Hill is a quaint family farm offering a variety of berries grown on-site, as naturally as possible. They also have mushrooms that they grow, and a big business of packaged jams, jellies, etc. available for shipping too. We stayed for a muffin and check out the specialty jams, and decided that this is a new addition to our must-do places when we come to the Branson area! It's a wonderful friendly family who owns the farm, and they are happy to talk and share about their farm and the products they make and sell. We enjoyed our little visit very much!
Kelly M — Google review
Oh my, the fantastic Thunder Muffins! I had them first at the Best of Missouri Market in St. Louis years ago, and made it a point while traveling through Southwestern Missouri recently to stop at the farm and get them direct. They are just the most perfect decadent, incredible, tasty, moist, beautiful thing!
They also have many other items at their store (in addition, you can pick berries during berry season), and I got some blackberry lemonade, which was delicious, and some of the honey that their own bees made! They had freeze dried blueberries, coffees, jams and jellies, mushroom items, but, for me, it was all about the muffins.
It was an undeniably beautiful drive down some country roads to get there. If you are anywhere close to Branson or Springfield, make it a point to pop in, especially in June when I believe the berries are at their peak (I was here and early May, so the berry vines were just flowering).

What an awesome, relaxing, and downright FUN little outing that the whole entire family can enjoy ! And if you're anything like my family, we love to find neat and fun things for us and the kiddos to enjoy without breaking the bank. So if you're on a budget and have a sweet tooth for some juicy blueberries or blackberries, Persimmon Hill Farm will meet all your needs all while remaining budget friendly 👍

We were here about 10 years ago and thought it was a nice, cozy little place where we had coffee and muffins and bought some jams. We went again today and it was all that and so much more. I guess we went "out of season" last time (early August maybe?). Today we got to pick berries. We focused on the several varieties of blueberries, each having their own subtle flavor differences. They also have blackberries and I think elderberries. They provide small buckets that hold up to 5 pounds of berries each. You can pick as many as you want and when you are done, you pay by the pound. I think we paid $4.50 per pound today. They are delicious and so much better than any I've ever purchased in a store. Everyone there, employees and patrons alike, all seemed so pleased to be there. The atmosphere is quaint, laid back, welcoming and friendly. This is not a huge, overdone attraction. There is no admission fee. There is a small restaurant/shop where you can buy a variety of sweet treats, including the most delicious blueberry muffins, scones, tarts and cinnamon rolls as big as your face! There is a huge window in the shop overlooking part of the berry farm and a window looking into a kitchen where you can watch them make the sweet treats. Also, when you first walk towards the shop, there is a small stand full of the most unique handmade bird houses and feeders. The gentleman selling these was the one who made them and was very happy to answer our questions. I definitely will return and now I want to check out their website so I can order more once I return home.

We absolutely love this farm and we enjoy our visits every summer. We like to get to the farm before 8am to beat the crowds. Besides picking delicious, fresh berries, the best part is of course the yummy items from the bakery. Their huge blueberry muffins (called thunder muffins) are delicious! Well, everything is delicious! It usually takes us about an hour to pick about 5 pounds of blueberries. To make it easier to carry the buckets, the farm provides ropes to put around your shoulder. We’ve found it even more comfortable to bring a camera strap or duffle bag strap to hook onto the bucket.
Leafy theme park with rides & waterslides, plus demos of basket weaving & other old-timey pursuits.
We were just there last week and pleasantly surprised that the park was full of greenery trees and flowers everywhere giving us lots of shade from the heat. It was busy not overcrowded like the Disney world. This park was better than Disney. We could relax and enjoy the rides. Just a different atmosphere. Their rides esp the water rides were awesome! So impressed with how friendly staff and people were to us. It made our trip so worth while. Thank you for the hospitality!

We really do enjoy this theme park!!! The atmosphere is is nice, they are rides for all ages ( the roller coasters are AMAZING), the scenery is wonderful, and we only had a problem with one worker. (She was running the kiddie coaster.) I removed a star because the first day we went was absolutely packed. I get it, it is a theme park so it is going to be busy, but this was a weekday and we were literally shoulder to shoulder with everyone! They were understaffed and the lines for all the rides were so long! I feel like on days it is going to be super busy they should NOT allow so many people to come in. Besides that I would definitely recommend this theme park.

This park is truly one of a kind. It's a theme park that has a unique, old-fashioned feel to it, which sets it apart from other theme parks. The rides are thrilling and exciting, but there are also plenty of fun activities for those who don't like rides. The food is delicious, and there are plenty of options to choose from. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. The park is also clean and well-maintained, which makes for a pleasant experience. Overall, I would highly recommend Silver Dollar City to anyone looking for a fun and memorable experience!

Water is free all over park. Foods we're amazing. Beverages can be refilled at any shop by paying money. Saloon show was amazing, filled audience with laugh and entertainment. All rides has their height limit for kids to ride. Safety measures are followed throughout park. There are multiple areas to visit. You should be ready to walk a lot. Beautiful park with entertainment and many things to enjoy.

I went at Christmastime and the lights were just spectacular. I've seen a lot of light shows and displays but nothing like this! It was just amazing and I didn't even know where to look first. Also, the rides were a blast. I love roller coasters and Silver Dollar City did not disappoint. So fun!

This is a unique amusement park. The mining village theme for the buildings is good. The humour associated with the narration of its mining history and the tour guides stories were very much enjoyable. One of the tour guides asked for tips which will only be used to "help children" and he has five children :-D. Another one asked riders of the train not to activate the emergency brake if they don't have an emergency because if they did, "one will be provided for them" :-D.
The roller coasters here are of the moderate thrill type and are quite enjoyable. Christmas season is particularly good because of the lighting. This is one of the best I have ever seen. Nearly the entire theme park was beautifully decorated with lights.
For me personally, the jewel on the crown was the Marvel Cave - a 500-foot deep cave with an underground waterfall.

Our first time here. We were impressed with the family friendly atmosphere and the amazing Christmas lights. Our teenagers' expectations of the rides were far exceeded. They even asked to come again in the future. The layout of the park takes a bit of getting used to. In the large crowd (I heard there was record attendance on the day we were there, 12/30/21), I don't feel like we were able to see everything and not being familiar with the layout hurt us. The lines for dining were excessive but I'm not sure if that is normal. The teens had the express passes and felt like they were able to enjoy the experiences. My husband and I just took in the sights and enjoyed taking in things slowly. The show, Home for the Holidays was excellent. Again, when you can impress everyone in the group including teens, you are doing it right. The food at the buffet was not good, bland and heavy, but I have no way of knowing if that's normal or a result of large crowds and short staffing. I would be willing to try again. Overall, I highly recommend Silver Dollar City for the excellent family experiences.

We really enjoyed our time here. We got the "after 5" tickets and had plenty of time for the kids to ride what they wanted and adults time to shop. We absolutely LOVED the vendors in the barn! Honey pecans! YUM! The gentlemen with the furs were so sweet and taught us all about the different furs! The rest of the employees were so engaging and helpful! All the fall decor was super cute! Employees were all so polite and helpful! We will definitely return!

Having only been to Six Flags theme parks around the United States, this little park really surprised me! First off, the staff is so fun and you can tell they really do enjoy what they are doing. Very helpful too. The main rides are fun, my personal favorite was Time Traveller and Wild Fire. The view you get from Wild Fire is breathtaking! I highly recommend going in the off season. We happened to be there yesterday (April 21st, 2023) and legit had no lines and got to ride everything 4 times each. It was perfect! Great weather too. I will say some parts of the park are a little steep to walk but overall it wasn’t bad. I can’t wait to come back here! Also, if you choose the “Free Parking” line and go to stop 5, there is a bus that picks you up right there and drives you to the front so you don’t have to walk. When you are ready to leave just find the stop 5 pick up and the bus will take you back! It was super convenient and was great because of how tired we were by then lol.

I have a few complaints and suggestions but over all we had a great time. Our boys are 15 & 17 and hard to entertain but they enjoyed the park and it’s rides. We did a 3 day pass most will tell you two days is fine. I however enjoyed taking our time and seeing every show and eating at our leisure.

I have been coming to this park since I was a little girl and now I'm bringing my little ones! I have been to the park hundreds of times and it's worth it every year!! I have really enjoyed getting to grow up coming to the park and seeing all the changes and improvements! All the rides are thrilling and all of the shows and shops are worth seeing!! A perfect family friendly park to visit! It's also worth mentioning that over the years the park has seemed busier and busier and they have even expanded their parking lots. I used to live in Springfield Mo which is not very far from the park but since I have moved to Fayetteville AR, over 2 hours away I have found it's better to buy the trail blazer passes that last all season. With how busy the park gets almost every day it let's us skip the lines to the roller coasters and gives us more time to really enjoy the park. Without the trail blazer passes you will easily spend over an hour waiting in line for any of the rides. We once waited over two hours just to ride time traveler. So it's definitely worth getting trail blazer passes! Also, the different festivals each season is amazing and they have the BEST Christmas lights in the whole world!!

We had the pleasure of attending Harvest Fest this year! Plus, it was my birthday. We had such a great time. The tasting pass is excellent! Can't wait to go for Christmas too! We had a group of 8 and had a blast! The food was so delicious and comforting! The lines for the harvest themed food were extremely long but flowed quickly and efficiently. We only rode 1 ride due to the misty cold weather. The decorations and pumpkins were amazing! It was so beautiful and tastefully done. Can't wait to go again next year!

Had a lot of fun, but there was such a long wait for rides and food that we didn't get to see much of the park. I recommend going more than one day if you can or go when the park isn't as busy. We have go e several times, and Halloween and Christmas are just so busy, but definitely both are a must see just be prepared for longer wait times. We bought tickets in advance, so our wait time to enter wasn't that long at all.

Over 6.5 million Christmas lights, it looks like pure Christmas magic! The whole family enjoyed it especially all the rides and the 20-minute train ride. We did have to wait about 1.5 hours to ride the train and to get on was like letting sheep out, there was no rhyme or reason and people cut you in line. They should have a better system for this because my parents are disabled and they were getting cut and almost did not get a seat on the train after standing for far too long in that line. We only went for 3 hours but if you pay all of that money, make it a whole day thing and get your money’s worth. The lines were way too long, I felt like I was at Disney World but without the fast passes. For a family of 4, 2 kids and 2 adults, it was about $300 for 3 hours and most of that time was spent split up and waiting for the train and waiting for the roller coaster rides. Since it was right after Christmas, all of their Christmas items in the gift shops were 75% off but finding your way around the place was a nightmare and the workers in the shops were not helpful. We spent so much time trying to find something that was located in the giftshop and none of the three workers we asked, told us it was located there. Too many slopes too, hard to get around if you’re disabled or older. Good thing it was not snowing or icy outside because it seemed it would be difficult to get around on the uneven ground.

This place is AWESOME! Tons of things to do for a full day of fun for ALL ages. Everything is kept clean - even the bathrooms! Lots of shade! Workers were friendly and always helpful. Definitely check out Marvel Cave tour and Time Traveler. I got better ticket deals online. We went during a weekday & it's was perfect!

We came on a Saturday evening after 5 so we were able to purchase the $40 per person half price tickets. It rained for a little while, but we were still able to ride Fire in the Hole (this is the last year it will be in operation), go through Grandpa's house, and see plenty of shops and interesting sights during the rain. All of the employees were extremely helpful and nice. Time Traveler and Powder Keg were mine and my husband's favorite rides. Our teenage daughter thoroughly enjoyed the ABBA tribute band in the Amphitheater and she and our 9 year old nephew both enjoyed the outdoor jazz band. We definitely want to come back when we can purchase a season pass (much cheaper than purchasing full price tickets for more than one day) because there is so much to see and do. We definitely got our money's worth in the few hours we were there and even got to stop and see the beautiful nightly fireworks show up close as we were exiting.

Get ready to pay up. It's a great family friendly amuseement park. There's plenty of food, crafts, and rides, but you better bring plenty of money. It costs dearly. There's a cave tour at the beginning of the park. Be sure to check it out. (My personal favorite ride is the Time Traveler. Amazing experience!)
Alex Hennis — Google review
First time going. I was impressed. The hidden star is the cave tour though. If you are um....let's say um ...a little more blessed downstairs then a couple of the rides are going to be a no go due to seat design(was no way, no how). But the rides were pretty fun. My lady enjoyed all of them. The glass blowing demonstration is cool. I just wish they spoke more on technique but who am I? Didn't get to see a lot of the craftsman demonstrations. But I will next time. This place is good family fun for less than big time theme parks. Food is relatively inexpensive for being locked in a park .

Have loved coming here since I was a kid. They do a great job of bringing back the memories while constantly having new things to see and do. Rides are state of the art, shows are really fun, craftsmen are masters in their trade.
Whether you like rides, shows, shopping, history, food, cave exploration, etc. this is a must experience place for you!
For those with allergies they have a list online of which dishes/restaurants are allergen friendly. Great food options!

Had a wonderful family visit. We stayed at the RV park and spent two days at the theme park. A great place for all. Nice rides, lots of live craft, arts and cooking going on. We saw some good musical entertainment as well. A much friendlier atmosphere than many places.
Richard Krueger — Google review
This is a very cute and beautiful place to visit. I spent whole day walking around the park. Many rides were closed due to the weather inclement. However, there were still a few rides open, and the wait for each ride was between 20 to 40 minutes. The Broadway style musical shows were awesome! Definitely worth to watch it. I watched the “Dicken’s Christmas Carol” show, very cute story. In addition, I strongly recommend to ride the steam train to get around the amusement park. I saw beautiful Christmas lights and story. The only downside about this amusement park was no place for people to rest. It was 45 degree Fahrenheit on the day I visited. I was so freezing and tired being outside for almost the whole day, and I could not find anywhere to rest and get warmer.

What can I say, we love this place! We have been visiting as a family since we moved to Missouri 5 years ago. Last year, we finally became Season Pass members, and it was so worth it! I bought 2 for our family of four, and they both came with free friends passes and we used those for the other 2 of us. I love the Pioneer theme, like Dollywood, and all the rides and artisan shops. The live shows are great too. But my very favorite things that they offer are the seasonal festivals and food/drink passports. We loved the garden fest in Spring, seeing the Circus in the summer, and the pumpkin dance party in the fall. Then of course, tonight we went to our favorite Christmas lights festival! The food passport is around $35, and you get to choose 5 seasonal choices from the different food vendors. We buy 1 and share. It is definitely worth it for the price and food selections! Our favorites are the soups, skillets, and funnel cakes!

We have loved every trip we have made to Silver Dollar City over the years. Our favorite time of the year is Christmas. It's indescribable the sense of Christmas spirit you feel between the park completely lit with holiday lights, the old fashion train ride complete with "Grandpa" sharing the story of Christmas, the professional musical productions of It's a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Carol. There is something for everybody in my family, whether young or old. Fantastic amusement rides, the best roller coasters I've ever been on, quality food at an affordable price, and a unique experience I have never seen anywhere else.
Thank you for being able to provide a family-friendly environment that has never lost its magic in the 20 years we've been visiting!

Had a great time for the final day. The app is so fantastic and pretty accurate for ride time waits. The staff was super friendly and when we requested the back they were always happy to let us have it. The Christmas lights were beautiful. If you are there during the winter when Christmas lights are up, I highly highly recommend riding the barn swing when it gets dark because the view is breathtaking (you just need to face the correct side, but you can ask the staff member and they are happy to do it).

SDC did not disappoint! 1st time being there and it was perfect timing with it being the holiday season. So our family got to enjoy the Christmas lights, it was incredible. It was like a little village with various different kinds of things to enjoy. While the tickets may seem pricey, there were plenty of fun. During the cold season, not all the rides were open but it did not affect the overall experience. It was a lot of walking and we had a 5YO, so I’d recommend plan accordingly.
Lyn Nguyen — Google review
Night time was gorgeous, which is why I wanted to come during Christmas! The weather was perfect (65 degrees). I wish there was a little bit more detailed information to get around and enjoy everything. It was confusing and I feel we didn’t even get to explore half the park. Overall, I would recommend! Pay attention to discounted rates. Instead of $99 a person we paid $59.99. From rides to shows to the light show, it was a great experience!!! The turtles from the Brown’s Candy Store are a must-have!

The TITANIC Museum in Branson, Missouri is an attraction that features replicas and artifacts from the original ship, the Titanic. The museum is a reconstruction of the ship, anchored in water to recreate its at sea look. The museum is open to the public and allows guests to experience what it was like aboard the doomed vessel with first-hand experience.
I’m not a huge lover of museums but this was well done. Loved the audio device to use during the self guided tour. Very friendly staff and characters / roles they played to add to the experience. Fascinating facts and history along with real artifacts from the Titanic. We spent a little over two hours and really enjoyed the experience. Lots to see and learn. I would recommend.

Loved this place. Has some really cool items from the Titanic. A few interactive things you can do. Lots of History. Can't wait to go back. Great experience. Love the deck set up and it's the same temp that it was on the night Titanic sank. Also, you can touch and artificial Iceberg and put your hand in a bowl of water that's the same temp as the Ocean when the Titanic sank.

I've been wanting to see this museum for years and it was worth the money and the trip. The staff is dressed in clothes that the titanic crew would wear, they were friendly and informative. You get an audio guide to give you info on the exhibits and artifacts. You get to touch and iceberg, experience the water temperature, and see lots of artifacts. You get a boarding pass of a real life passenger and at the end you see if you survived. It left a deep impression on the history of the titanic.

Went here with my 10 yr and 8 yr old grands. They were extremely interested in the museum. The theme was focusing on children on the titanic which made it more thoughtful for them. I truly enjoyed the visit myself also.

This was far better than just a museum. They have people walking around giving inside scoop of the activities on the ship. I met the gambler who was interesting, to say the least. Each person gets a recorder that tells you about different areas. One for adults and one for kids. Everyone I ran into was having a blast walking at their own pace. I almost forgot you get a ticket of a person that was aboard the ship. Mine was in second class, and at the end, I found out my character didn't survive.
Roger House — Google review
Very knowledgeable staff. We all got a card of a passenger and then was able to see if our passenger survived at the end of the tour. It is self paced which is nice. Per instructions, we were to stay in our car and wait for a text. This never happened, so glad we went in and checked as this was not the case. Wearing a mask was annoying and staff policing it was annoying, "has to be over your nose", etc.
A. Kottke — Google review
So much history and so beautifully displayed! The actual artifacts and the replica of the ship is great! You are provided with little audio players to carry with you that give you information depending the number you enter. We ordered tickets ahead of time, very smooth. All around A+! Check it out!

We had such a great time! Really enjoyed having a real passenger on our ticket and got to see what happened to them.
The staff were really friendly and interested in the stories they told. You could tell they were passionate about the stories and people that were on the titanic.
There was a live pianist in the the room where the musicians’ stories were told and he played absolutely BEAUTIFULLY.
They had good audio tours and had an audio for the kids as well where the story had move voices and characters explaining what you were looking at.
I only leave one star out because there wasn’t very much to interact with. You could trick your hand in the freezing water or the attic, shovel fake coal, and climb the slope of the deck, but there wasn’t any other interactive things to do.
The gift shop was pretty reasonably priced for a gift shop as well. We spent 2 1/2 hours in there and got our mint’s worth out of it!
Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed this attraction. It’s a self guided tour and you’re provided with an audio tour guide that allows you to listen about different exhibits at your own pace. They had separate kids audio tracks too.
It was neat getting a passenger card to read about them and having to search at the end to see if you survived or not. We enjoyed the interactive exhibit a lot.
Only some of the areas you’re allowed to take pictures in and the staff isn’t allowed to touch your phone so they can’t take your picture on the grand staircase.
Wouldn’t recommend for small kids, but older elementary and up would enjoy.
You can order tickets ahead of time for certain times to “board” or buy at the desk. Id recommend buying ahead of time.

This was a very interesting look into the technology of the time paired with the human condition. Many names and faces were connected to personal stories. This event will always be intriguing, and the museum has amazing exhibits and informative staff. Some items were copyrighted, so photos were not allowed.

This was a fun and informative experience with multiple “relics” from the famous ship. Guests are provided with devices to listen along the tour. We had tickets for 2:30 pm but didn’t enter until close to 3. It was PACKED. We mistakenly thought that there would be one group of people during each time slot but it was difficult to view all of the exhibits with so many people. My favorite part was the grand staircase!

We had a great time going through the museum and seeing interesting facts, photos and some Titanic Items from the ship. It takes about a good hour or so to go through depending on the crowd and time of day you book the tour. It is cold in the museum and you may want to carry a jacket. My wife was happy she had her jacket that day and she wore blue jeans. Staff was very friendly and overall we had a great visit.
RICHARD BURNHAM — Google review
Neat museum, with lots of history and artifacts about the titanic. There is an actual size grand staircase and other ship like things. They give you a paper card with a name of a passenger that was actually on the boat and in the end you get to see if you perished or survived. I did feel it was a bit overpriced for just a walking through museum, there wasn’t any interactive stations or things like that. Went on thanksgiving day, and it was very busy, to be expected tho.
Lauren (Rose) — Google review
Very nice and emotional experience, sort of re-living people's experience. Neat thing is that they hand you a card of a person with their biography and find out what happened to them. Get to experience what people went through during the crash, different level of angles to see how impossible it was to remain on the ship while it was starting to sink, how history have developed for the survivors... Staff members are Very knowledgeable and informative. It was a great experience overall!

It is good but I don't think it is worth the entry fee. The Titanic history is well told. They don't allow you to take photographs on the first floor. Most of the interesting artifacts are on the first floor. The narration at important points is good and informative. The Grand stairway is good but very crowded. If the fee is 20 dollars I might give a 4/5 but not now.

I enjoy history so seeing an attraction like this is of great interest to me. I was able to visit the Titanic museum in Pigeon Forge and while they are very similar there are differences. The facility was set up well. The stories provided by the staff and audio system were able to keep your attention. The only distraction, and I don't know how the facility could make remedy is, the children running around. They were understandably bored after a few rooms. While their parents/guardians wanted to read and listen, they ignored the inappropriate behavior of their kids. Maybe post a warning to watch your children or risk being asked to exit? There were several distinct and separate tantrums. The other option is a rating of not recommended for younger children?

Loved getting assigned a person on the ship, getting to search for them along the way and then find out if they made it or not. Also, there's a shorter blonde woman there that is SUPER knowledgeable about each person stationed at the grand piano. I literally thought she was AI. How quickly she shared facts about each visitor's person was impressive. The freezing water bowl challenge and the sloped decks were placed at just the right time for my boys to re-engage.

We watched Dean Z as Elvis tribute artist and it was a fantastic show in a cozy theater. The show takes you through each decade of Elvis’ career starting in the 50s at Sun Studio through the 1970s in Las Vegas Nevada. The sounds and visuals were excellent. The musical performers were top notch and Dean’s talent made us feel like we were watching Elvis on stage.

My husband took me here as an anniversary present/birthday gift, I do believe that we were probably the youngest bunch in the crowd for sure. It was good clean wholesome family fun for all ages to enjoy. The dad and son vocalist were quite amazing very very talented group. His son has some amazing lungs on him. I loved the show all together we left with only 25 minutes left of the show due to it being rainy, I can't see well to drive at night and it was past my bedtime if they made earlier shows that would be fantastic we don't live anywhere by here we are from Conway and it's a long drive back on windy, and curvy roads back to the house. All in all I'd give the show a 10 out of 10! I highly recommend it for sure!

The Haygoods is a live music venue that features top hits from decades past performed by an energetic family of entertainers. The show is highly engaging and entertaining, with all performers singing beautifully and with lots of energy. The Bango Boy (the male singer) is especially hilarious, and the entire family is extremely talented. If you're looking for a truly special live music experience, take the time to go see The Haygoods!
The Haygoods was a very good high energy show. They had music from several decades. Rock, country, all kinds.
It is a group of 6, consisting of 5 brothers and 1 sister. They are very talented in their instruments, dancing, and singing...they can do it all.
I would put it in one of the top 10 shows that I have seen in Branson. I would definitely recommend, and I would definitely see this show again.
If you are going to see this show, I would highly recommend getting your tickets as far in advance as you can, because they sell out almost every night, and if you want good seats, get your seats early! Also, you might want to arrive early, because parking is kind of a nightmare, as well as getting out of there after the show.

Updated review: I first need to apologize to the Haygoods for my previous review. My review should have been for the theater itself and not their performance. We would have had a great time listening to them had it not been for the horrible seats that we had, which were suggested by a lady in the ticket booth. Timothy Haygood contacted me about my review and wanted to see what they could do to make our experience more enjoyable. I must say he went to extreme measures to contact me and accommodate my family. I can't speak anymore highly of someone who would do that. They have offered us some tickets in the future and we will be returning. I am so looking forward to seeing their show again.

Okay look, this show is off the chain. Run don't walk to get tickets. The family show is largely under-hyped. This show is nothing like you might have read, it is legions better than you thought it would be. From unexpected laughs, to amazing stunts, musical creative excellence and a harp. No, let me give that more attention...A HARP act that will leave you wanting more. I don't have the vocabulary to give the Haygood family show justice. Well worth every penny for admission.

They are a refreshing change to many traditional show! We loved their showmanship, musicality, family banter and humor and the use of lasers, pyrotechnics and lights in their show. They were really fantastic and if you want something fresh with high energy and great music using a large number of instruments and their singing ability, this is for you!

This Christmas show was fantastic and you can see how hard the family works. Very high energy and it never died. I wanted to play with all their big toys..lol.
We loved every bit of it. They get very personal with the audience. You never know when there is a surprise going to happen. Someone hanging upside down flying through the audience playing guitar. The list goes on. Family is wonderful.

W-O-W. The BEST show ever! I'm glad we saved this one to last because it would have set the bar way too high for the rest. Catherine and the entire family are so talented with all being able to play multiple instruments! Such a variety of pyrotechnics, drones, original pieces, and the old favorite familiar songs. Really, don't miss this one. Reserve your tickets before booking your stay. They do sell out.

We went to Brason for are family Christmas trip we do every year for the past 8 years. But Two years ago we found out about the Haygoods show. We checked it out and fell in love with the show. They all sing so wonderful,we love how energetic they all are. And the Bango Boy is so funny. We got great laughs out of that show for sure. And they are all so talented. We went to 6 different shows and my whole family and me said that that was are favorite one of all. Highly recommend

What a great show.
They are very talented and get the audience participation included. Do not worry, it is only in cheering, singing and beach ball hitting. Nothing embarrassing or on stage. Just fun for all.

Sorry there's not 10 stars! This show was the most exciting and entertaining show! All of the Haygoods are so talented, it's amazing! Ingenious stage effects and daring stunts kept us on the edge of our seats. Very high energy and constant smiles, these people are truly blessed and you can tell they love to share! Thank you for the unforgettable performance and making others happy with your God given talents, hard work and dedication. God bless! The Bradys

I've performed in various groups and productions all my life, and while I always appreciate the effort that goes into putting on a show, I'm not easily impressed. But this show captivated my wife and I from start to finish! So much talent, and put together in a tight, amazing, dazzling and fun show. I was impressed enough that I bought the box DVD set of 30 years of the Haygoods shows at intermission, so we can catch up on what we've missed over the years! Do not miss!

Did a last-minute weekend trip to Branson and was looking for a music-focused show to attend. Saw on trip advisor it’s the best and we could see why! So much fun and everyone is clearly very talented. Loved the variety of instruments and the energy and the family stories! Beautiful night and wonderful experience. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be going back again!

This was the best show I’ve seen in a while! The music was awesome and the pyrotechnics were amazing! We loved the tap dancing, throwback movie songs, and the lighted robot costume at the end. There was even a guy who flew down on a zip line to the stage upside down! It was so cool!! Great show! Thank you 😊

What a talented and gifted family! The Haygoods did a great job of covering a variety of genres all over the decades. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 starts is because the “in between songs” entertainment was not very humorous. I could have gone without that. But I would definitely recommend them if you enjoy live music. I also really enjoyed the tap dancing and harp. Absolutely breathtaking!

Wholesome outstanding family entertainment!!! Could not ask for a better performance. I'm a solo traveler and wanted to catch a show while in town. I had a ball at The Haygoods show! I sat in the VIP first row of the balcony directly in the center. Best seat in the house! My favorite part was Catherine on the harp. Phenomenal. God bless the Haygood family for putting their heart and soul into their life's work. I can only imagine how proud their parents must be. Thank you for a lovely night of top caliber entertainment.

Great show, very family friendly. My kids enjoyed it. The theater was really awful as the seats are positioned very poorly, the view is unfortunately the guys head in front of you. The Haygoods were so good, they deserve to perform in a much better theater. We loved the pyrotechnics, the different instruments, and all ranges of genres. Well done!

I have never seen anything like this show! My mom & I loved everything about it. Entertaining, magical, funny, touching & fun! My fave was definitely the tap dancing. And the surprise of them tapping to AC/DC's Thunderstruck was awesome! They covered so many music genres. Other reviews say something for everyone, there truly is! And how many times have you seen a harpist?! Catherine makes playing that beautiful and intriguing. Dominic was my fave! 😁

1st time seeing this show and it did not disappoint ! The energy and originality was so Cool. Great family show from a very good family, was great how they tell their story and even had their parents there !
I think they need their own building with better stadium seating as it is hard to see from the back especially for short people. Highly recommend buying the DVD of the show you attend.

The Haygoods' performance was an extraordinary spectacle that left the audience captivated. From the moment they graced the stage, their energy and passion were palpable. Each family member showcased their exceptional talents, effortlessly blending music, dance, and more. The vocalists soared through various types of harmonies, while displaying their virtuosity on a wide array of instruments, from a harp, a banjo, guitars, drums, and much more. The entire performance was a testament to the Haygoods' versatility and their unwavering commitment to entertaining their audience. They left an indelible mark on the hearts of those present, creating an unforgettable experience that will be cherished for years to come. A must see if you are in Branson. ♥️💙

An Amazing Show!!! So much talent with these 6 siblings. The brothers combat boot tap dancing, beautiful Catherine playing the harp as well as every instrument on stage. Popular music from several eras and genres.

I attended my first show with my aunt and uncle who have attended numerous of the Haygood’s Christmas shows. The show was absolutely phenomenal. As a dance teacher and being involved in musical theater I tend to be a little more critical as a default when it comes to performances. I loved every minute of this show and didn’t want it to end. The level of talent instrumentally, vocally and creatively for all of these years is exceptional. I hope I get another opportunity to see them in the future.

This was my 1st time seeing the Haygoods. It was good family entertainment. There was great special effects. They play several instruments and get the crowd involved. They are also very personable and interact with their fans after the show. I'm definitely going to see another show.

We had a wonderful evening. These are very talented people. The show is suitable for any age group. Something for everyone including children. Little girls were crowding around Catherine after the show wanting her autograph and a picture. The boys would likely find the lasers and pyrotechnics exciting….arranged by Michael, I believe. Too many songs and instruments to name here, but lots of variety for the adult crowd . We especially loved the family medley with Catherine on the harp. Go see them !!

This show is unbelievably great. It's a high energy spectacular ranging a wide array of musical genres. They use all kinds of stunts and special effects to keep it engaging too.
We had a little mishap with our tickets and they were ultra accommodating about fixing it. The judge of how good a company is is when something goes wrong how do they resolve it. The Haygoods went above and beyond to set it straight. We dealt with Toby Obi who's hospitality is unmatched. Thank you Toby

Pierce Arrow Theater in Branson, MO is a live music venue that offers a variety of comedic shows, plays and musical performances. It features the Pierce Arrow quartet who perform country, classic rock, gospel and patriotic tunes along with stand-up comedy by James Sibley. Guests can expect to have a great time and get their daily dose of laughter from Sibley's routine. The theater has two shows per day and provides customers with free jumbo popcorn when purchasing tickets online.
Great super fun, interactive, clean show, super funny 😄 had a great time! Wonderful teaching about the national anthem and honoring our veterans!! Patriots and good Christians through and through

The show was okay but could’ve been better with more music and less Dan (sorry, Dan). The comedian host, James Sibley, was funny as always and would have liked to see him more involved with the musical act than just the one “cowbell” bit. Michael, Chadd, and Tony did a fantastic job as did the under-appreciated musicians. Tony’s version of Journey’s “Faithfully” was incredible but Michael and Chadd were equally great in the songs they were lead. Though the tribute during the show to the brave men and women who have or are serving in the Armed Forces was wonderful, I wished they would have done the history of the Star Spangled Banner before the show like the last time that I saw them. Nonetheless, this show was worth it and even my 16yo son gives two thumbs up.

Had a great time at the Pierce Arrow Theatre!
They started with an amazing National Anthem story/ tribute. I'm a patriot, so for me, this was Phenomenal!!!!
Very talented musicians and singing group.
They had a good variety of music styles. The comedy was witty, clean and very funny. One of the performers wasnt there and there weren't many people present as it was an early season performance for area appreciation. But they performed as if there were 10,000 watching. They played and sang with all they had, with all their hearts. I thank them for that! The show was very family friendly!
From the person on the phone when ordering tickets to the popcorn stand to the ushers... everyone was so friendly. Concession prices were very reasonable- way cheaper than a movie Concessions prices.
The performers interacted very well with the audience. They seemed to be having fun rather than performing as a job.
The lobby, bathroom.. everything was very clean. Would recommend and would go again!

The talents of the musicians and vocalists make this an entertaining experience. They don’t rely on the theatrics and technology to try to engage the audience like other shows. They sang a huge variety of music from tons of different artists and nailed just about every song. (Sometimes the older gentleman tried just a bit too hard to hit the low notes) The comedy was entertaining and the entire cast made you feel like part of the show. We look forward to catching other shows on future visits.

We had an amazing time at this show on 5/09, these performer's did an awesome job. They were great with the audience, we love the tributes to our veterans and our USA. From the outside to the inside its beautiful very welcoming and friendly people. At the end we were in line to take a picture with the group, I happened to mention that it would be my husband's birthday the next day on 5/10 so they sang him happy birthday and the crowd joined in. First and best time in Branson, Missouri. Y'all have fans for life. God bless y'all ❣

Sight and Sound Theatre is a Christian performing arts theater company that produces innovative productions of Bible stories. The company has been praised for its high quality performances, and its shows can be compared to the likes of Disney productions.
Simply incredible! We had a great view even from the upper deck. We were fortunate enough to be able to watch the performance of the Jesus play. It covered the life of Jesus from the beginning of his ministry through his crucifixion and Resurrection and then Ascension. The special effects were right on cue and you were definitely a huge plus to the entire performance. Nothing cheesy here extremely professional and wonderfully composed on all levels

An amazing experience, definitely a must see! The way they do these productions is simply spectacular! We would love to come back for a different live show!
You can buy concessions and gifts before the show, during intermission or after. We found there was enough time to do our shopping during the intermission. The candied nuts are very good!
They tell you to get there early and I for sure recommend doing just that! Traffic in and out is very congested but it moves fairly quickly as they have attendants guiding you to open spaces, definitely makes it go smoothly, but you still want to arrive the 1 hour early so as to avoid any lateness because traffic is thicker closer to show times.
Seat cost is high but definitely worth it!
Food/drinks/gifts are priced as you would expect, higher then average, but it's about the experience so spend as much or as little as you'd like.

Recommended for all ages! It was an amazing experience that you have to see in person! The DVD doesn't do it justice. Make sure to stop by the concession stand and get yourself some glazed almonds! The building is themed and matches the feeling of the show. I 100% recommend coming out and seeing a show.

We just went to see Jesus show. The acting, music, whole experience was so powerful and very edifying. All the staff are so friendly and go above and beyond to make the day a special experience. You will be blown away and even moved to tears. It will far surpass your expectations. For parents with littles: they do have boosters available at the back of the room for your little ones so they can see the show even if they are shorter. Highly recommend!
Also.. this was my fifth sight and sound show and if you want the best seat suggestion?? Choose center and as close to the center aisle as you can get... It's the best experience!!

An amazing theatre! Stories of the Bible are a brought to life in these dramatic musical dance productions. We went to see The Miracle of Christmas about the birth of Jesus Christ, and it was beautiful! The sound system is tremendous and stage sets are larger than life. Both the front and sides of the theater are used in the production. There are concession stands with food and drinks and a gift shop as well. I recommend arriving 45 minutes early because it will take some time to get parked. I consider Sight and Sound Theatre one of the best in town.

This is the 3rd time seeing Esther and it was just as awesome and edifying as the first two times. The staff are all so kind and the atmosphere is great even when busy. Traffic is crazy getting in but the staff has a great set up and system and get everyone parked quickly and orderly. The same for the inside.. very well laid out and it flows great. We have sat closer to the front, on the sides and in the middle center. Middle center is best but there really isn't a bad seat. You will be blessed if you attend. Well worth the money. We do wish they had season passes for the live shows since we only live 2 1/2 hours away and come fairly often.

We have seen many shows here. They are each unique and spectacular in making stories from the Bible come to life. Queen Esther used the entire room for so much of the show that it felt like you were immersed in the story from start to finish. We highly recommend going!
Some shows we enjoy sitting closer to the stage to see the action and animals up close. However since they used so much of the surrounding stage for Queen Esther we recommend sitting further back.
(They don’t allow photo/video recording during the show so these are from before it started and during intermission)

Total immersion in the story of Queen Esther. Powerful message and lovely depiction of one of my favorites Bible women. Suggest not being in a hurry to leave so you can see the stages in full light. Quite the engineering masterpiece.

Absolutely loved the Story of Esther. The set transitions were flawless. The show went fast! Costumes amazing. The music score was phenomenal Definitely put on your trip agenda. The only item that needs attention is the music overpowered the actors voices. We could understand the flow because we know the story. We heard others around us say the same. We were treated to a quick back stage tour by a dear friend!

I’d like to show you pics of the production but because of copyrighted material and the fact that i don’t want to spoil it for you, I’ll just post the stuff you’ll see outside the show.
Our group of four had such a great view of the production. The stage is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. The lights and sounds and the actors did such a great job. I will definitely come back to see more of what they offer.

Absolutely excellent! The Jesus show was amazing. The actors and actress were very talented and they also used live animals. They animals seemed like they were well treated from what we could see. This was a great show for the whole family. The theater itself was spectacular and we really liked how the stage wrapped around the front half of the auditorium. Throughout the performance there was great sound effects, scene changes and theatrical specials effects. Very awesome! You just have to see it for yourself. There lots of free parking and the building itself is huge. Sitting on top of the hill, you can’t miss it. Recommend!!

Visited to see a fantastic production of the story of Queen Esther.
This place knows how to handle the crowds from the moment you enter the parking lots until you leave. Plenty of people directing traffic, handling ticket sales, will call, concessions, gift sales, and ensuring you know where your seats are located.
Production was amazing. How they are able to incorporate so many set changes into such a small space is quite a feat. Character costumes were well done and the actors were all well rehearsed.
Food/gift prices are all reasonable. Staff is very friendly. I would definitely recommend you visit if you are able. Plan ahead and Set aside a few hours for the show plus 20 min intermission, you won't regret it.

Sight and Sound Theater’s production of Esther was every bit as outstanding as we had been told. The stage was massive extending up both sides of the audience. WOW!!!! JUST WOW. I have never in my life seen a production like this and I’m a Broadway fanatic. We were lucky to sit front row, right in the aisle where the horses and actors stroll by, it was so cool I still am mind blown. The stage wraps around to both sides so be prepared to look around following the actors and the story. I hear if you have neck issues it’s good to sit close to the aisle but more in the back so you can see it all happen around you without having to look side to side sharply. I will say being in the very front was an experience on its own but do note you will turn your head a lot which didn’t bother us a bit. This was such a talented cast with such a detailed and extensively crafted set that consistently changed and morphed with the story it was one mind blowing moment after another. My face hurt from smiling it was such a beautiful and awe striking show to witness. If you are a fan of the theater, Broadway, or just pure phenomenal talent, you gotta see this show, religious or not, it’s a fantastic show and it will leave you impressed regardless. There’s animals of all kinds, beautiful music, comedic moments and an audience that embraces clapping and shouting an amen when you feel the need to. It is as causal as you want it to be. I saw people in nice church clothes to Nickelodeon street clothes. Just come as you are, come comfortable and don’t be intimidated by the car traffic or the lines inside, they move fast and every staff member we encountered was so kind and friendly. I will say it is so important to come about 45 mins early- the traffic takes a minute for parking and you can’t get in until intermission if you are late. Honestly I can’t say enough amazing things about this theater and I cannot wait to see more shows in the future. If Esther is still showing, GO. It’s a powerful story everyone should witness at Sight and Sound. And get a pretzel, soooo good!!!

"Queen Esther" is a mesmerizing spectacle, both in its storytelling and its theatrical presentation. Set in a beautiful theater that enhances the experience, the show combines historical drama with romance. Esther's rise from obscurity to Persian queen is portrayed with emotional depth. Rich in narrative, the characters are compelling and the costumes and set design are visually stunning. It's an inspiring story of faith and bravery, showcased in a breathtaking theatrical setting. PROTIP: be sure to look at your ticket to see what entrance you should use.

This is a MUST SEE production. We went and saw Queen Esther, and it was fabulous. The parking is very well organized, with people guiding you to your parking spot. They have people all over the building to guide you where you need to go or ask any questions to.
The building is beautiful on the outside and the inside. There are concessions and a small area for buying memorabilia or copies of the productions they put on there.
Inside the theater you sit down to a giant screen that pulls up to show you this magnificent construction of buildings that rotate and move. The buildings open up to show you inside each room. They really utilized the stage space well.
They have animals in the production. They walk up and down the aisles. The singing and acting is top-notch. They had to have close to 100 actors and actresses. The costumes are beautiful and amazing.
They have an intermission in the middle to get concessions or go to the bathroom. Some people went up to the stage to check out the design of the set. It was just so extravagant and beautiful.
The production was very moving. They made you laugh and cry and feel a desire to be a part of the show. At the end there is a calling for those who want prayer. Such a life changing show.

Fantastic caverns is a vast and beautiful underground cave that was discovered by John Knox in 1862. Today, visitors can enjoy a guided tour in a Jeep-drawn tram through the cave, which is located just northwest of Springfield. The cave has a fragile backdrop of ancient features and only allows for controlled tours through the fascinating underground landscape.
Being disabled on an electric scooter, this place was VERY accessible, & the staff very friendly & helpful. Loved the jeep tour! Nice visitor center with many interesting things to look at. The grounds are well kept and beautifully serene. We were passing by, & couldn't resist stopping in because of the jeep tour since I miss out on caving. Lovely way to pass an HR or 2!

The tour lasted about an hour overall, but what you learn and see is worth all the time spent there. The cavern is very warm as well, especially during the months like March here in Missouri. The employees were extremely nice and pleasant to talk to. I loved every moment of being in the cavern. They have a lot of souvenirs that you can purchase and while I was there the majority of the items were 50% off! I would definitely recommend everyone there for a nice guided tour through an amazing cavern!

This was a nice activity that did not cost our family of four a hundred dollars. Our son actually could enter for free (5 and under). The tour is pleasant and worth a trip once. Our guide was fun and knowledgeable. Google maps takes you right there otherwise it would be hard to find. It is in the middle of nothing but farm land and limited signage.

Very interesting cave and the tour guides were great. I wish the experience had been a little longer, and that the signage once we were closer was better.
After seeing what felt like hundreds of signs on the interstate, once we were close and trying to get there the signs stopped and we almost didn't go because it felt like we had gotten totally lost -- and then the cave was there.
Overall I'm glad we found our way and got to see it as the formations were really interesting and beautiful.

Such a fun tour—you sit the whole time and they drive you around the caves. They give you science and history, demonstrations about the original discovery and exploration to the secret speak easy during prohibition.
There is a trail you can walk down after to enjoy the wooded bluff. Very peaceful!

Awesome experience for the family. Worth the stop. Had to wait a little after buying the tickets but the visitor’s center has a large gift shop, antiques and other historical artifacts from the caves past on display to entertain you for a bit. The tour is a little over an hour. The tour isn’t rushed. The propane powered Jeep takes stops along its route in the cave to let the tour guide share great insight into the caves history and features. Watch your head as in some parts of the cave you will have to duck. The cave truly is fantastic!

Definitely stop here if you’re in the area or live in Springfield and haven’t been here yet. Their jeeps drive you through the cave and your tour guide will make several stops to tell you interesting facts. The tour is breathtaking and takes about an hour. George was our guide and was so funny and informative. Wheelchair accessible and a cool gift shop as well. Our two grandsons loved it!

Did this tour with my 6yr old son as we were passing through the area. Didn't bring our dogs with us as my mom opted to stay at the campsite with them but thought it was really cool how pet friendly this place is and will allow you to bring them along for the ride. My son and I both really enjoyed the tour and our tour guide. My son talked the whole ride and our guide never once seemed annoyed by his silly questions/comments. The drive going out to the location itself was very scenic and beautiful to top it off. Would definitely recommend this attraction to anyone in the area!

Such a cool experience and the kids loved it! It is easy to do. Just show up, hop on a tram, and get a great tour of the caverns. It was nice for families because you don't have to herd kids through a cavern that could stress you out more than be a fun event. Rather this tour will give you the experience without any unnecessary stressors.
I'd also recommend walking the property by the stream. It was beautiful.

The most amazing experience ever! This cave tour was so breathtaking. You will learn so much about the cave as well as seeing the most unbelievable rock formations and stalactites on your journey through the dark and mysterious cave. The tour guide was so spectacular and knowledgeable about all the history of the cave. I absolutely loved it.

Great time at Fantastic Caverns. Very interesting and informative guide provides detailed history. From ticket booth to jeep easy and convenient. Good for seniors and those with cave phobia as there is no walking. Beautiful grounds. Nice gift shop. Recommended.

I have been trying to get here for over 30 years, now I'm kicking my tail for not making it a priority. I will return & it will be much sooner than 30 years LOL. I'm horrible with names, our lady guide was phenomenal ❣️ It's about an hour excursion, information packed. Absolutely amazingly fantastic experience. Great for all ages. It's cool, 60°s F so dress accordingly, they have warm clothes for sale in the gift shop as well as lots of other goodies. Please remember gratuity 💕

What a FANTASTIC tour! Perfect for families and the older crowd not interested in a walking tour. Our tour guide Darla was great. She took the time to answer all questions even when a youngster asked if she liked her red jeep. It was informative, interesting and fun.

I love anything outdoors, and visiting Caverns is one of those places I must visit. This was the first time I visited a Cavern that drove into the Cavern in a trailer. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. She did an awesome job at explaining and giving details at every point we made a stop. There's also a gift shop inside, and I found some amazing natural products like the ones you see in the photos. I've been collecting artisan soaps along the way. Most of the soaps I've purchased are from local family-owned stores. I have to say the smell and quality are amazing.

Decided to stop to see the caverns after years of seeing the billboards along I44. What a great tour. Since we were there in the late evening in spring, we only had 4 of us and a dog on the tour. Our tour guide Joe was knowledgeable and personable. We had a great time. Highly recommend!

Call me slow, I won’t mind. But this was my first trip through the Fantastic Caverns. I loved it!
I was a little claustrophobic in the beginning as you ride down into the mouth of the cave but the tour guides are great at keeping you informed and distracted.
The Fantastic Cavern cave is beautiful and very well preserved. The tour is very informative and comfortable. Tours are hourly, with the last departure happening at 4pm.

Fantastic Caverns is a wonderful little surprise just outside Springfield Missouri. We had a group of eight, four adults, four children, and we were able to get on a tour within 10-20 minutes of arrival. The unique thing about this cave tour was that the whole tour is done from the comfort of a trailer being pulled by a Jeep. This makes it a great choice for young children, elderly or any visitors with mobility issues. Mark, our tour guide, gave us all the pertinent safety info before we headed out. During the tour he stopped and got out at specified stops along the way to give us a little history on the cave, and to show off the magnificent structures inside. This made it easy to get some good photos inside. He delivered the history and stories about the cave with all the wit and humor you expect from a great tour guide. If you are in the area, I recommend stopping in and checking it out.

Went on a field trip with the kids and had a great time. It is very clean and looks freshly remodeled. The gift shop has some nice merchandise at reasonable prices. The guides were friendly and spoke loud and clear so you could hear them. Everyone had a good time.

This was a really fun experience! A great way to spend the afternoon, walk around the property and amphitheater area, and walk around the inside and gift shop. The tour lasts an hour, and it is perfect temperature inside. Be prepared for a couple drips of cave water on you! Almost everyone in our group got at least one! I absolutely loved our tour guide, a really enthusiastic older man. He explained the history really well, and cracked jokes and very enjoyable. Overall a fun place to visit if you want to spend a few hours learning about an old cave, and seeing some beautiful rock formations!

We had a good time. I'm glad I was able to manage the ride. That being said, I do want to mention a few things for any using walking assistant items. It is a long walk from parking to inside (the first picture just takes you to the line-up going down to the building). There is plenty to see and read about while in-line. Luckily there wasn't a line that day. There is a nice gift shop to look at while waiting for your turn.
The one big complaint I have is getting in and out of the restroom. I had a small wheelchair and barely made it in. I couldn't close the door and it was to tight to get the chair turned. While trying to back out I would get hung up on something sticking out from the wall. Thankfully another guest helped me back up to get out.
I was able to get on the tram (with some help) and enjoyed the cave. I was shaky by the end and getting off was trickier. It's hard to find attraction you can do when you have limitations. I'm glad this was worth it.

I had not been here since I was a teenager like 20 years plus ago. But soon as I started the tour those memories all came back. Got to share the experience with my children who absolutely loved it. Ages 14 and 6 so that gives an example on how all ages can enjoy these fantastic caverns.
Had a great tour guide who was funny and gave history of the caverns without it being like a copy and paste script style tour. He was also very patient with my very talkative 6yr old.
My only real like mild issue. Is they do not tell all history of the caverns. This is due to having to be PC and some parts of the history of the caverns are frowned upon. And I am in no way supporting them or anything of the sort. But I'm a firm believer of teaching all of history good and bad so that people hopefully learn from bad decisions made in the past.
Other then that loved it.

STILL FANTASTIC! The tour is cheesy, comical, and witty if you get the right tour guide! It was a fun experience for the whole family (kids 13, 2, & 1)!! Would highly recommend. Can not buy tickets in advance!! When you arrive (depending on availability of tour guides) you buy tickets for a time slot and may have to wait till next tour. Gift shop is your usual mass produced items that are marked up more than what they are worth. Overall the experience was great for us! Hope you have a great time too!! Don’t forget to check out the yellow do hicky in the back!!

This place is beautiful and peaceful. We learned a great deal about cave formation and the history of this cave. Our tour guide Andy was funny. We had a great time. It is worth stopping for if you are in the area. Souvenir picture included. Price $35 adults. Tour time one hour.

Spent $30 per ticket. It was a nice cave to not have to walk. Had it not been for the educational stops, it would not have lasted the hour it did. I was expecting a longer ride, but it is actually kinda short. This should be more like a $20 to $25 ticket. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. The gift shop was nice also. This ride is also dog friendly.

AMAZING!!! This was a last minute decision today! WOW!! My husband and I loved this tour. Our guide Heather was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and very informative. Such a great stop! $33.91 per person (with tax) and at the end you get a photo! (Typically, photos taken are extra, but here it’s included. Nice surprise) I get cold easily so I took my blanket with me. Grab some popcorn for the ride. It’s tasty! Highly suggest this tour.

Great tour of cave. This is the only cave tour that will drive thru the entire tour. They stop and explain things along the way. They even give you a photo of you on the tour for free. Great for kids to tour since just ride. The temperature is always cool underground. Very nice building and gift shop.

Visited the cave on a weekday evening, and there was no wait. The tour guide was knowledgeable and she seemed to genuinely love her job. The experience was unique since you ride through on a tram. However, the tour was short (under an hour) considering the admission cost. There are some tight spaces where you will have to lean forward. You should also consider buying your tickets individually as each ticket comes with a free photograph.
This is a very beautiful park with tons to do. Walking trails, multiple playgrounds, a nice lake with tons of geese and swans. There are also beautiful peacocks here too. A very amazing park to spend time at.

This is a beautiful place to bring your family or just take a stroll! The grounds are well kept and there isn't a lot of bugs to keep you from strolling peacefully throughout the park. I always make it a stopping point whenever I'm in town!

I have been coming here since I was a kid. It is amazing to be able to take my kids here as well! My favorite part is that the equipment is kept in good repair. I have rarely seen equipment that looked like it needed to be replaced. And the walking trails are great too! I have had many picnics and b-day parties here with family and will continue to as long as we are able!

Always a good time. I sadly am not excited about all the dogs. And its not because they do not belong. It just brings me soo much anxiety. My son is afraid of them. He's Autistic and panic bolts when he sees them. So it's not a park that I can let my sitting guard get me. 🙃 But majority of the park goers have their dogs leashed. Which helps so much. Thank you. ❤️

For a town the size of Bolivar, it is an unbelievably wonderful park. I would say it's a much larger park, than I've seen in any other town that is comparable in size to Bolivar. It's almost like a shrunk down, miniature version, of Central Park. There is a very nice walking trail, a great many picnic areas, as well as 3 different shelter houses, one of which looks like a giant native stone gazebo, plenty of waterfowl, including ducks, geese, and several swans, peacocks that roam freely about the grounds, lots of trees, which leaves the area with a pseudo-rugged feel, and a VERY large pond.

We love this park, but I will say if you have kids like I do watch them. Because there have been some things that I and my fiance have noticed that are not okay with me.

The Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing is a contemporary hotel that offers modern accommodations. It features an indoor pool and a 24-hour fitness center. Situated along the scenic Branson Landing, which is a vibrant strip of shops and restaurants along Lake Taneycomo, the hotel enjoys an excellent location. The highlight of the area is The Fountains, a unique attraction that combines water, fire, light, and music to create a stunning spectacle.
Nice large, clean rooms. Nice location at the landing.
Put us initially in a room that has HVAC issues but QUICKLY remedied the issue by moving us to the same type of room with the same balcony and view and comped us a large portion of the room cost.
Rooms are pricey, but they have service down very well! Will stay here again.
Jonathan Negley — Google review
First off, I was very disappointed to have paid full price a fountain view room.. Which i was specifically very excited about for my son.. And then the fountain was under maintenance during my entire stay. Very disappointing.. I know Hilton does not own the fountain and it must undergo maintenance at times, but should comp rooms during these times when you pay the price tag FOR that view/show. Also, the shower head felt like you were staying at a road side motel rather than the Hilton.
Otherwise, a very pleasing stay! Nice facilities with plenty to do. You would never have to drive, if you did not want. Room and bathroom were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Each staff member that I spoke with were very friendly and helpful. I would most definitely return to the Hilton Promenade.

Fountain view room was nice, but we needed to use the key 5 separate times to get into our room (to enter the building, then in the elevator, then 3 separate doors to enter the room), which was a little odd. The room did not have enough towels or supplies, but they were willing to bring more when asked. We stayed 6 nights, and they did not service the room when requested. Location was excellent. It would have been nice if there was an outdoor pool, but we used the one across the street.

Stayed here for 4 days. The night front desk clerk was very helpful. Valet parking also helpful.
Our room air conditioner did not work it would put out hot air in the middle of the night. They had a window unit rigged in the room. They put the vent through the window and enclosed it with card board because they had to remove a window pane to vent it.
They do not clean your room unless asked to. After two days I asked to have the room clean. They only left enough towels for one day, didn't leave toilet paper, coffee cups or a bath mat. But they did want me to leave a tip. This from a FULL SERVICE HILTON.
It would be really great if the bottom sheet fit the bed instead of being too small
Last name was Ballenot on the booking. We were in room N301

We frequent Branson and I had always wondered what it would be like to stay at the Hilton…. I was disappointed. The bathrooms have soap/body wash/conditioner dispensers in the shower and two of the three were empty. The noise was constant ALL night.
The rooms were CLEAN and the front desk staff were very nice but I don’t think I would stay here again.

However, the room has wallpaper peeling in the bathroom & dust on appliances
Great service and great location right on the boardwalk.
It's disappointing that you pay that much for a room and parking and breakfast are not included.

Location was great and convenient, however for approx. $300/night I had expectations of a higher standard. But instead we got a basic room; it had a balcony but it overlooked a 2nd story roof so that was worthless; we had NO hot water in the bathroom so had to take a cold shower both days; because of the disconnection of the rooms from the main hotel we had to walk in the rain to get from our room to the pool; the bedding was basically just sheets; both mattresses were well used and sloped on both sides so you had to sleep in the middle of the mattress or it felt like you were going to roll out of the bed. Hardly a luxury stay. Felt more like Motel 6. We won't be back

The staff here gets 5 stars. The only reason I'm deducting a star is because of our room. We stayed in a top floor room overlooking the fountain area. The room itself was nice and very clean. However, I'm really not sure why it is designed so incredibly poorly. Our room opened to a shared hallway with one other room. Additionally, we had two open vents to that hallway. This means that everytime someone makes noise in that tiny shared hallway it echoes into your room. There was no privacy and the people across the hall had visitors coming and going during the times we were trying to sleep. Also, the thermostat for the room is under one of these vents. Our heater (set at 69) only ever turned off for about 30 seconds at a time. I believe it kept kicking back on because the cold air from the hallway was constantly moving into our room. The valet team here is extraordinary. Everyone at the desk and even housekeeping were so friendly and helpful. This is a great location for seeing Branson and close to everything you want to do. We will be back here but next time I'll call to request a room with no vents. You can see the vents (and thermostat on the wall with the mirror) clearly in the photo with the bed in the foreground.

We expected a much nicer room for almost $900 for 2 nights. Plus you have to pay for parking and the continental breakfast across the street is $17 per person. There are better options for fresh made breakfast about a block away.
Our room had a chair and the mattress was pushed up against the window. You could not sit comfortably to watch tv or read with the window sill to lean against. 👎🏼Not at all comfortable. It was clean, but not the quality we thought it should be for the price. My brothers room (cheaper rate) at this same hotel had a much nicer quality room. Including a headboard, couch, chairs and more. While it was clean, our room was not at all the value for what we paid.
The only plus was they gave us 2 bottles of water for our 2-night stay and the room was clean.

We spent extra to stay at this location, it really can’t be beat, especially with a toddler. When we arrived the room was not very clean and definitely in need of updates. Our phone did not work, we only had 2 total towels, no bath mat, extra wash clothes, etc. whatever, wasn’t going to complain! 1030 that evening we lost power and it did not come back on ever. Our windows leaked water due to the storm and we had to walk down a pitch black stairwell with our child and all of our luggage. When we went to “check out” (obviously couldn’t stay the next night due to no power and no clue when it’d be back) we heard the front desk attendant tell several people complaining that their would be refunds. Several days later I had to spend 3+ hours to get the second night refunded. Surely wouldn’t think they’d charge us for a night we couldn’t stay there- we had to go find another hotel. They explained they did all they can do by just refunding the last night of our reservation. So the night with no electricity was completely disregarded as well as my time spent inquiring about it. For obvious reasons, will never stay here again. In desperate need of remodel and cleaning and customer service check.

The valet and bell hop wait staff are phenomenal!
I travel with a wheelchair and the valet staff always accommodated me by getting my wheelchair out of the back seat of my truck in order for me to exit the truck or vice versa putting me in the truck to go elsewhere, very helpful and this took a load off of my wife having to wrestle with it!
The desk staff were very knowledgeable about local venues and offerings as well as helpful with our accommodations and needs!

Loved the view from the corner balcony, watching over the landing. The fountain was not on which would
have been nice but still it was good listening to music and the location was fantastic! Our room had issues...the fold out bed was disgusting with stains and ripped on both corners! There was no sheets or blanket for it fortunately we had brought a sleeping bag and blanket for our granddaughter. There was only 2 towels with 3 guest checking in and limited bathroom products. When paying $265 a night for an upscale hotel I expected much more.

Disappointed. Stayed in same room as before. Once again Ice machine did not work. Called front desk, I was told that they had no idea. Not true, reported the issue last time. I asked where to get ice, offered to bring some in a few minutes. Those few minutes turned into 1 hr later. Adult daughter was in shower and teenager was in room. They knocked once and walked into room. I returned from the hot tub, called front desk. I was told sorry and they will speak to housekeeping supervisor about more training for their staff. Later that evening, manager called to apologize and comp some off of hotel. When I check out that did not happened, told have to wait until a manager comes in around 2pm. Now waiting, sure nothing will be done. Please respect your hotels guest privacy and fix your issues (not put it off for the next guest). This was not room service, just ice. They let themselves into our room when my teenager was alone. Unacceptable.

This hotel was pretty good! This bed was comfortable! The pillows were ok! The location was pretty nice, right on the Branson Landing! There should have been a way to shut off the ac & heat! Our room was either too cold or too hot! The room & furniture popped loudly & a lot during the night waking us up! There were loud kids & babies that were nearby on our floor! It was kinda of hard to figure out how to get from the parking garage to our room & then back to the parking garage at first!

While staying in Branson for a work trip, I stayed at the Hilton Promenade which did not disappoint. From the breathtaking views to the lively crowd, I was very pleased with my stay. I had a great stay! Everyone was so helpful and nice. I had the fountain view room and the view was beautiful, it was so enjoyable sitting out on the balcony. The only con is that if you get assigned a room in tower 2, you have to walk back and forth from that tower to the lobby/parking garage. You have to walk outside for part of that walk. Other than that, I have no complaints and would definitely stay there again.

The room was filthy! I was so disappointed. The room was beautiful, we had a suite. It was
huge and we had our Pembroke Welsh Corgi and he loved having all of that space and all the people we got to watch walk by and their dogs and children. He loves kids and the elderly the most.
To be fair though, I DID NOT call the front desk and complain. If I had they probably would have made it right with us somehow. We were there four nights and I cleaned it myself but that's ridiculous. The floors were filthy, they hadn't been moped in a long time. I spilled a little water in the bathroom and wiped it up and the paper was totally black. ⚫️ The kitchen was too. The top of the ceramic tile, the marble. UGH I don't want to think about it anymore. 😪

Locations great, rooms are nice, but the problem is that we’ve been waiting to even get to the room for almost 2 hours after the front desk saying it’ll be ready “soon”. Our check in time was at 4, after walking around for 3 hours waiting for check in time they tell us our room wasn’t ready so we proceeded to wait 2 hours just to get into our rooms so we could change for dinner. If you have rooms that need to be ready by check in, get them ready ahead of time and make check out at least 2 hours before you need to prepare the rooms so you don’t waste time”

We stayed in Building 1 - I guess this is considered the "main" building. The Lobby was nice and updated. The staff very friendly. We had a large one bedroom "condo". The room was large - the patio/balcony was very large. The room was quiet. However, the colors and the furniture were very outdated. The room could use some updating. There was a yellow stain on the pillow case and some stains on the end of the bed cover. More things like this should be paid attention to by housekeeping.
The whiskey bar - VERY UNDER STAFFED. A whiskey bar not having some of the basic necessities to make an Old Fashioned, I mean, come on!! Someone should have run out to grab a few things - we waited a long time for initial service and a very long time to be checked in on once we got our initial drinks. The bartender, he said he was also the manager, was very busy - but at some point - to not let the level of service down, the hostess seating people should mention something like "we are short staffed, and we welcome you but we welcome you with the understanding that our wait times will be much longer than normal" - but to continue seating people when you can't handle the crowd - makes for a disappointing experience.
The Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium features an aquarium with huge tanks full of fish. The aquarium has different environments like the ocean and a river, as well as 4D wildlife dioramas.
Wow 2 hours was definitely not enough time to really enjoy this place. We arrived late, and the ticket booth informed us that the delivery guided tour usually takes about 3h 45 min to get through. We paid full price and did it anyway, walking through most of it and stopping at the most interesting things we came across.
Towards the end of the aquarium, you'll find a large pool of sting rays and manta rays. As they good across the water, you're allowed to gently brush against their wings with two fingers as they pass by. We found them to be somewhat shy. Out of the ten minutes my 4-year old and I spent with our hands in the pool, we pet maybe 2 rays.
Note: You'll see the ray pool about midway through the aquarium, but don't stress yourself out trying to find it. It's literally near the end of the tour and you'll get there eventually. Enjoy the aquarium first!

My husband & I took our 13 year old son & 7 year old daughter here. We all 4 absolutely loved it & had a great time! It was worth the money & I would love to go back! I would allow yourself 4-5 hour's to tour the museum & aquarium! There are lots of benches to be able to sit & rest throughout the tour, several restrooms throughout the tour, water fountains located at almost every restroom location, wheelchair & stroller paths throughout the entire tour, all of the staff we came across were very friendly & would answer any questions you had about the animals.

I am visiting the latest time in January 2024. Almost everything is open, and the experience is great for adults and children. I highly recommend taking your time. A quick pass through is about 2 hours (especially with small children), but seeing it all and taking time to feed the eels at the end can easily make it 4 hours or more.

This was our first time visiting the Aquarium and it was well worth it! We went later in the day, had less than 2 hours before it was closing, but that made for a very quiet/empty visit which was nice. We didn't have to try to wait for people to finish with exhibits to see them ourselves. Highly recommend this if you're in the area!

The enclosures for the animals and the tanks for the marine life were so nice and clean. It takes about 4 hrs to go thru the whole thing but honestly it doesn't feel like that long. We were very impressed. Love this place!

A little pricey but definitely worth it. We spent close to 5 hours there and still didn't see everything. One of our favorite things was petting the stingrays. They also have spots to grab a bite to eat there. There are elevators for wheelchairs and strollers. Very family friendly oriented. I recommend anyone in the area to stop by and enjoy this place.

Outstanding and you just have to take your time to soak it all in, or you'll miss something! There's so much beauty and history all in one place for you to enjoy! Every room is loaded with more and more...... worth taking the day to explore and worth spending the money to explore! It's worthy of an additional visit incase we missed something the first time! You won't be disappointed! What an asset to the entire area! 👏

It was worth the trip from Tennessee and the money. Everywhere you look there is so much to see. And included, one of the largest bass pro shops, you could be in there for hours. In the Bass pro, they have a couple museums, knife sharpening, a very large ladies wear and men's wear section, and a section of gifts to get for relatives or friends. Now back on to the aquarium and museum portion, when starting out, I kind of got turned around, then it was smooth sailing after thanks to the handy signs all throughout pointing towards the next part of the adventure. The staff had the best manner, so friendly, helped you with whatever you needed, and the customer service was fantastic. I would give yourself 5 to 6 hours to get through everything. They have veterans and handicap parking, they also have a veterans discount on the tickets as well. Hope this helps!

Loved our visit to this aquarium! We’ve been to over a dozen around the country and so far this is our favorite. I was constantly amazed by how CLEAR and CLEAN the water was to see everything- and the decor/atmosphere of the aquarium is what sets it apart. The way they make you feel like you’re underwater, in a cave, in the Amazon etc is just incredible and detailed and makes the exhibits that much cooler. We loved the interactive portions to feed sting rays, touch tanks, make shark hats and decorate animals that show on the wall. We spent about 3 hours there and it was definitely worth the cost. We went first thing in the morning and though it got busier toward the end, because it’s so big it didn’t feel crowded until the bathrooms/cafe area. Highly recommend if in the area!

Easily hands down one of the very best aquariums we have ever been too in our entire life!! We can definitely see why it is rated the best because it simply is the best!! You can see the thought that went into making it perfect especially for the little ones. The views, pictures, and even the exhibits were all awesome. We spent almost 6 hours going through it all. All 3 parts even did one on one with the penguins. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. We definitely would recommend it.

It was an incredible experience. We were able to explore all 3 places in one day and saw everything. The aquarium was really enjoyable and is huge. Lots of different tanks with a variety of animals inside. The younger kids loved it, and so did the adults.

There's large, interactive screens that give information about the displays and what's in the tanks as well as smaller boards with interesting facts.
I would highly recommend visiting the place. On our way out, we noticed there was a hotel across the street if anyone far from the area is interested in visiting and staying nearby. It's an amazing location,

Wonders of Wildlife was awesome! We were able to walk in and get our tickets without having to wait and then we were able to continue at our own pace. With two little kids, we had to go through slower than I would have on my own, but we all still had a great time! They even had a petting area for the stingrays! Got to feed them by hand and that was pretty cool!! 😎

The tickets are pricy but so worth it. The museum and aquarium are huge and all indoor. Real life penguins and alligators with a lot of taxidermy animals on display. It took us about 3 hours or so to see everything and that was going at a somewhat fast pace. They have a café for snacks and drinks about half way though before you reach the aquarium. Pretty cool experience and better than most zoos I have been to.

To start off, the ONLY reason this is not getting all 5 stars is because it is incredibly expensive. We went on a Monday during Thanksgiving break and surprisingly it wasn't very busy at first. The exhibits were amazing, we loved seeing the different types of marine animals in one tank and then seeing single tanks with smaller creatures. They had a great variety of non-aquatic animals as well and displays of freshwater animals. Their other exhibits, especially the amazing collection of Native American artifacts, was fantastic. My daughter (13yo) loves aquariums and we were told this was the best in the nation. It was not lacking in that aspect whatsoever. I didn't buy any food while there because it was crazy in prices as well. If you are on a budget, this aquarium won't be affordable.

Enjoyed the penguins and aquarium the best! The aquariums are very creatively done with so much to see. There are crawl spaces for children to get even closer to some exhibits (some adults can fit and it's pretty cool).
There were many more live animals than what I expected such as bats, snakes, black bear, alligator, crocodile, marmosets and more.
The bathrooms were clean. Everything seemed well done and well taken care of.

OMG! This is the most awesome place!!!!! When you walk in, the whole inside feels like another world. There is so much to see! The best part, you can go through the aquarium, leave to get food or charge the phone, and then come back and finish with the wildlife museum. It's an all day pass. The aquarium, the exhibits, the people, the feeding shows, everything is absolutely amazing. It's about a 2 to 3 hour viewing if you go straight through. There are strategic places to sit if you need a break here and there. There are divers that go into the tank and feed the fish. We were there on a Thursday and got to see the feeding show at about 1pm. Great great great place.

What an absolutely magical place to visit! There is something for everyone (unless you are claustrophobic) at the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium. I loved how the design makes you feel like you are actually underwater and able to experience how these creatures live beneath the surface. There are all kinds of nooks and crannies designed for cute photo-ops and your kids are all sure to leave having declared they have found their spirit animal. I have included mine in the pictures. There are tunnels and big open spaces, there is a ton of information about these creatures, and it all culminates in a room with stingrays for petting and an interactive sea wall where kids can draw their own creatures with messages and then watch them swim by!

This place was really neat, an aquarium and museum mixed together. Had a lot of good information and some interactive stations. They had huge tanks and their sets ups were different and really neat. The fact that it is broken up into multiple parts all over the store, I think helps keep it not so packed with people, which was nice. And some of the habitat set ups let you feel like you're right there with the animals. We very much enjoyed it and the store.

There is so much to do and see inside, it's kind of overwhelming. The way everything flows and builds on the next thing you're going to see is helpful. There are clearly marked signs on where to go and what to see. The only downside is the price for myself, wife and 2 daughters it's well over $120 and that's with a military discount. You can spend quite a bit of time here, if you stop to see and read everything. Other than the price this place does not disappoint.

Had an absolute blast at the wonders of wildlife! I bought tickets online ahead of time. The entire experience was absolutely wonderful. I had a newborn, a 4 year old and a 7 year old with me. The stroller and wheelchair accessibility were fantastic. The animals all looked well taken care of and healthy. The exhibits were the best I've seen. 10/10 recommended. My kids were too afraid to go to a cave in the area. I wish I would have bought a 2 day ticket to explore this aquarium more!

my fiance has never loved a place more in their life. we came on 10am on a wednesday and we had the best time ever. it made for the perfect birthday, and made me feel like a kid again. always will love this aquarium… even the workers love what they do, they would just come up to us and start telling us all kinds of cool things. they even seem amazed at it all. aside from any thought you have about bass pro, the aquarium is so incredibly cool.
we even fed the stingrays, which was the highlight of the trip honestly. the jellyfish are gorgeous as always and not to mention in the cleanest tank i’ve ever seen. they take great care of all creatures they house.
will always come back ((:

Took the visiting relatives for the first time. Everyone enjoyed and was impressed. Don't think we saw everything we paid for since we were granted access to all 3 attractions but only found the aquarium! Maybe you could offer a map for seniors. I think it would have helped.

Listen, I've been to museums and zoos, but this place takes the cake on presentation. It's some of the best work I've ever seen.
No "wonder" it took them a while to complete!
It is a labyrinth of exhibits. Just when I thought it was going to be close to done, it kept going.
We spent over 3 hours in there with a toddler, and the toddler made it! That's how great it was, he didn't get bored!!!!
Well worth the money and time, you won't regret it unless you don't like leg day. They might be sore from all the stairs! You can get into a shark cage for another fee.
Well done Johnny.

We ventured a 2.5 hour drive to visit this attraction, and this place did not disappoint. It was just my husband and I that went. This place definitely released our inner-child. We were "ooooing" at all water creatures and posing with the wildlife. It was a awesome day! Definitely would be a great place for the whole family. I had wished I had taken my grands along. We will for surely return so that we can share the excitement of this wonderful little adventure with our grand babies.

The wildlife museum exceeded expectations. The quality of the taxidermy and settings was more realistic than I expected. The information screens hit the mark with key facts without being too long. The entire Bass Pro experience with Museums, Hall of Fames, Aquarium and Wildlife was a great way to spend an afternoon and morning. The Lewis and Clark exhibition and Native American collection was both enlightening and educational. Loved the photography exhibit and see this as an important way to tell the outdoors story. Our 4 year old granddaughter was engaged enough to enjoy the visit end to end. Highly recommend visiting.

We were just stopping through for the night. We stayed at the lodge across the way. 3-7 is happy hour at the aquarium if you buy online. So we got a discount on our tickets and they come with a $5 drink voucher per ticket! Staying at the lodge also got us 15% off the restaurant in the bass pro shop. It was nice, the aquarium and bass pro were connected. The Aquarium is HUGE! We have been to a few different ones and this one for sure at the top! The kids and us were amazed at how much was in here and the details at each exhibit. I would HIGHLY recommend checking this place out if you have the chance! So worth it!

It's an absolute beautiful aquarium. The moment you enter it's a different experience. However, that is my only complaint. The moment you enter there's a ton of blue light that's going to hurt your eyes. So I recommend preparing yourself. But the moment you get past the entrance everything else goes amazing. The place is so fun and pretty to walk through. You even get to pet the stingrays. However, they are used to people and will hide at the bottom. So if you're wanting to get them to you, stick out onf of your fingers when you make a fist and wiggle it slightly. Then put that underwater, with the finger facing upwards. It'll trick them into thinking you're feeding them as sticking a fish between your fingers when you make a fist is how you get them to eat from your hand. (A trick I learned in Denver Aquarium) that way you can still get them close enough to you. Just make sure not to leave the finger out if they do come over you. Same fir the small shark they sometimes keep in there. Still, a great experience, for semi-reasonable price. And a gift shop with various items.

I had such an amazing time here. There was so much to see I felt like I was on an adventure, and once your done with the aquarium side the museum side is also fun and a lot to learn about. It’s more than just a basic aquarium there are so many animals and exhibits I am definitely going to come back. Good place to go on a date with your husband or wife fun for all ages.
Dickerson Park Zoo is a 100 acre zoo located in Springfield, Mississippi that is home to over 500 animals representing 160 different species. The zoo's primary goal is to educate the public about wildlife and nature, and inspire them to take an interest in conservation. In addition to exhibits featuring exotic animals, the zoo also hosts community outreach programs that focus on conservation.
I went with my daughter's school for an honor roll field trip. It was so much fun and all the kids loved it. I'm pregnant so one thing I was really happy about was all the convenient bathrooms they had along the paths. Great food too, my daughter and I shared a huge pretzel with cheese before we had to move on to the next exhibit. The free roaming peacocks are really amazing to see in person.

It was a lot of fun, I hadn't been to the zoo in ages and decided to go. They give you a map at the entrance and you can follow your own tour, or you can follow the tour signs which will lead you around the world exhibits. I chose the latter and had a wonderful time. The kids were laughing and playing, they have little water park stops so the kids can run through the sprinklers. There is a petting zoo as well as a place where you can feed the giraffes. Overall it was a great experience and I am excited to go back soon.

I do enjoy this zoo. Week days aren't over crowded. Good variety of animals and not so big you can't see them all in one visit. Just like any zoo anything else you buy is overly priced $12.50 for 2 Chicken strips and some fries but overall a decent zoo.

This is a nice zoo for the size of city that Springfield is. It doesn’t have the exotic settings that a large zoo like to St. Louis or Omaha would have. Though it is a great zoo to expose children to different kinds of animals. It is handicap assessable and easy to navigate.

Quaint, hometown zoo... I immediately joined as a member and I go once a month just to walk and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Plenty of animals to see, from traditional lions, zebras and wolves, to exotic birds of all types. My favorite thing to do is feed the giraffes, though I'm hopeful this year to see the geese eggs hatch.

This is a nice local zoo. There's enough animals to enjoy for a few hours. Most of the park is an easy walk with only the elephants and bears in an area with an incline. There's a small train perfect for a break or for kids that will take you on a short journey around a pond.

We love Dickerson Park Zoo. The re-imagined children's waterplay area is a hit with our family. We've been going to this zoo for over 10 years and seen expanded exhibits, experienced community outreach, and attended education classes and birthday parties. We enjoy riding the train each time we visit. For our family, the yearly passes are a great investment, and connect to a network of zoos all over the USA, perfect for family vacations. We are extremely satisfied with Dickerson Park Zoo and will continue to support them.

This is our favorite place to come when we are in town. We came here as young married. We have brought our children through the years. Now we bring our grandkids. The weather was perfect for the animals to be out and not too hot for us to visit them. We had an incredible day and, as always, made new friends.

Great zoo, lots of animals, and chances to interact with them. They have a petting zoo, splash pad, and train tour inside. We loved getting to feed the giraffes and seeing the giant 85 year old tortoise. The snake exhibit was our daughters favorite, they had a corn snake out that she got to pet. They have maps available at the front, and easy to read signs all over the zoo. The food and drink machines only take single dollar bills, so take plenty of ones. They also have a restaurant inside if you want to get a meal. They get bonus points for the cold water fountain and bottle station at the front. So bring a bottle with you, it is a lot of walking.

This is a nice zoo, but the day we decided to make this trip, it was way too hot. We only stayed for about an hour. I was thankful they had a splash pad. If you are coming in the summer, I highly recommend bringing clothes for the kids to get wet in. The people working at the front gate were not that friendly, and while my Tulsa zoo membership shows we get in this zoo for free, they said I only got 50% off. No big deal, I just thought they could be more friendly about it. All other staff we encountered were very friendly, including the girl selling food for the giraffes. Overall this is a nice little zoo. One thing I didn't understand is why they didn't have any maps for the zoo. It was very difficult to find what we wanted to see without a map.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. This was a pre planed trip so to show up and have to start it out sitting out a storm sucked. It remained gloomy most of the time there that I feel made the animals depressed. None the less, with rain and sun, it was a great trip. Part of the Zoo was closed due to renovations which was a bummer. There wasn't a whole lot of people so it wasn't over crowded and made for a nice day. Out side of the main food area by the restrooms it was a bummer that the food stands were closed. They have all kinds of vending machines spread throughout it, ice cream vending machines and drinks where the ones I seen the most. It's $4 for a soda from the vending machines and the food court wasn't much better. They have a nice deck with table and chairs for customers to sit and eat right next to a playground for the kids to enjoy while the parents take a break, it's a nice little playground too, so cute. The bathrooms by the food court are decent for the amount of use they get, from the looks of it staff keeps up with the bathrooms pretty well. All kinds of cute animal statues all over the place along with giant paintings of butterfly wings and Peacock feathers that you can stand in front of, definitely fun for the kids as well, my 7 yr old stopped at every single one for pictures. Over all, it was great fun, the animals look in great shape, the petting zoo was a blast, staff was awesome and I couldn't of asked for a better day thanks to how friendly and fun this Zoo is. I'll definitely be going back on a day that it's not storming so the animals don't seem so bummed.

My family lives the zoo! It’s the perfect distance for my young kids and I to walk from opening until their naps or for my whole family to spend time together at. We’re pass holders so we never have to worry about how long or short a trip is.
Giraffe feeding has been a hit with my kids and they love the petting zoo. The train ride is simple, but my kids love it. The ride is the perfect wind down at the end of our visits (Paul, the Tuesday/Thursday driver is the BEST!)
Since the exhibits are small and close together, you can see a LOT in a short time. Which is great for my kids’ tiny attention span. The signage at exhibits is wonderful too.
Every staff member I’ve ever interacted with is kind and loves to share about whatever animal is nearby. They do animal encounters as well where you can Q&A with zookeepers.
The playground equipment is pretty central which is great for a pit stop. The only down side is that it’s most appropriate for ages 5-12 (and there are a LOT of younger kids that visit during the mornings). My kids have always found things to do on the equipment that’s safe, but I do wish it had more for their age group.

Dickerson Park Zoo is actually pretty awesome as far as zoos go! Hadn't been since I was a kid, but have been to a fair number of other zoos since then as an adult, so had little expectations going back there other than as an opportunity to experience a local zoo with my 3 yo nephew.
Dickerson did not disappoint! Maybe we just got lucky due to rain the day prior, but the animals were quite active, well cared for, and surprisingly interactive with their human audience.
My fav activity at zoos is the petting zoo. Loved how bold the goats AND GIRAFFES were trying to get the handfed goods!

We visited this last weekend. We did 2 tours and they were fantastic! Our tour guide was Sophia. She was amazing. She shared her knowledge with us in a way that was educational, with a splash of humor and made little comments that made it clear how much she personally cares about the cats and other animals at the sanctuary. By far one of the better tours we’ve been on in years. I could spend all day out there. Definitely worth the visit(s) and every penny.

We ended up doing both tours. Very informative and staff is well trained. If doing only one tour, think we would lean toward the feeding interaction. You still see a good number of the animals, and they were more active as they came for their snacks.

What an amazing experience! We took the behind the scenes tour. Best 3-1/2 hours we spent in the Branson area. We learned so much about the Sanctuary and the story about each cat that is there, plus the other animals that call the Sanctuary home. The 3 tour guides we had were awesome! You could tell that they were passionate about what they did. If you are in the area you need to check the Sanctuary out. They offer different tours and we also enjoyed the gift shop.

Wife and I had a great time! We've been in SW Mizzou for 3 years now and finally made it to see the big cats! If you haven't been, GO! Our tour guide (wish I could remember her name) was great and very informative. It's wonderful to see some endangered animals have a wonderful home as close to the wild as these cats have! We did the feeding tour and it was worth the extra to be able to feed yourself (albeit through a tube)! We will be back simply to visit and know that our money spent goes to maintain the facility, cats and all!

My husband and I have been six times now, and we enjoy every single visit.
I recommend going to the feeding tour in the morning so you can see the cats get breakfast. The cats are more active and vocal in the morning and cooler weather, so you get a unique experience.
This sanctuary is a haven for all types of animals, and they are the gold standard for what you want to see in a genuine sanctuary. The big cats are well cared for, direct contact from employees/humans is limited, personalities evaluated, and environments adjusted to keep each cat happy.
We see different cats almost every tour because they rotate which cats are on the tour route to keep the animals comfortable if animals show signs of stress, they aren't on the tour route.
If you enjoy big cats (along with lemurs, foxes, and wolves), you will not be disappointed by this tour.

A pretty cool experience. We did the Feeding Tour. Got a lot closer to the animals than we expected. But I was shocked how little of the sanctuary we got to see. We maybe went only 1,000 ft from the main office and saw 12 lions and tigers. Apparently there were many more animals here but this tour didn’t take us there. So it was mostly just standing and looking. Very pricey for how little we saw. But the cool thing was how much our tour guide knew about each animal and their backstory. So we fell in love with each animal. I would recommend coming here but definitely do either the Riding Tour or the Behind The Scenes tour.

Thoroughly enjoyed tour & learned much! Tour guide (young man in college to be a vet) shared many details of the tigers at the sanctuary. It was interesting to hear the life story of each animal. We learned what they eat, how much they eat, where the food comes from, the food prep & feeding process, how they exercise, how they show dominance, what medical support is given, how they mate, etc. I learned there is such a thing as a “liger”. I also learned some of the big cats mark their territory (spray) just like house cats. It was fun to hear the alpha lion “caroling”. We laughed along with our guide as he shared his experiences. I’m impressed that this sanctuary is “hands off”, didn’t know that. We will visit again because it was so much fun!

This place really is a “sanctuary.” It is the forever home for these big cats and the staff genuinely seem to care about each one. They have great anecdotes and backstories for all the cats on the tour and are transparent and willing to answer any questions from guests. We did the feeding tour which was the highlight of our time in Branson - highly recommend! However because of the time it takes to do all the feedings and tour, there isn’t enough time to see every cat they have. If you’re looking to see all of them, the riding safari tour is probably your best bet.

We really enjoyed our trip here. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the animals . Telling us about their backstory a little. Including the animals' personalities, weaknesses, fears, etc. Was definitely worth paying the little extra! I could hear the care in her voice for the animals. The place was clean and safe. It's definitely a must do in MO! Thank you for the great tour!

This was a fabulous experience even though it was cold and rainy. Our guide had intimate knowledge of each of the cats that we met. It was neat to be so close to so many large cats. They were all very vocal which was a treat. The lion carol made it extra special. The feeding was a nice add on. My husband and kids fed and I watched. I didn't feel like I was missing out by not doing the feed. The knowledge shared was worth the price of admission. My hard to buy for husband loved this experience. He loves white tigers, so this was right up his alley.
It was definitely not a zoo feel. It is a liveable home for big cats who were not being cared for properly before coming to the National Tiger Sanctuary. I was so surprised by the amount of regulation by the USDA (who I thought just did food) and other government organizations. I would definitely come back again if in the area.

Loved this place. Close to the animals, but not too close. Watch for that 7-10 foot spray! Handlers were very informational and great with answering questions. Many were owner surrenders or removed from pay to pet programs. Although some of the enclosures seem small, there are shelters and some are adapted to the animal needs. The levels of pay are confusing. Bought tickets on line, diff level for feeding tour and another to feed them through a tube with a plunger. Recommend one or two price levels. The lemurs were so chill and Midnight was a beautiful girl.

What a fun experience! Highly recommend!!
We did the feeding tour. You can upgrade the tour to include some chicken to feed the kitties, which we did. We saw several species of large cats and heard the backstories of how they came to the sanctuary. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and even knew each cats personality. It is a family-friendly place, but I would recommend being careful with little little ones because you aren't allowed to touch the fences, and it is very tempting for little ones. We had a family with a two/three year old on our tour, and he wasn't happy about having to stay away from the fence. It is a walking tour, but it is an easy walk and not really long. They do have a golf cart tour that covers more of the sanctuary as well as a behind the scenes tour that shows more animals. There is also a little souvenir shop with stuffed animals, shirts, keychains, postcards, magnets, and the like.

All you can eat fried chicken and waffles, bratwurst and hot dogs, and nachos. All you can drink sodas and water and unsweet tea. And four adult drinks per person. All for the price of admission to the Club. If you've never taken advantage of one of the club rooms, I highly recommend getting tickets for the Champions Club at least once.

I'm a huge baseball fan and no organization is better than the Cardinals. Minor league or Major league this is a great time for your family. Affordable and fun

We had tickets in the Redbird Roost, the family loved it. The staff kept all the food fresh and the area so clean!

Our family had a great time!!!This is an amazing stadium. It was very entertaining and kid friendly. We will be buying quarter season tickets for next year.
PSA...DO NOT PAY $20 TO PARK ON THE SOUTH SIDE. The Springfield Cardinals are not affiliated with them and will tell you the same. Spend your money in the stadium and support the team. There are other parking places for a lot less!!

If you want a great “hometown feel” sports event, that still somehow has a big game vibe… the Cards are IT!
We’ve never had a bad experience. We’ve never seen fans of home/visiting teams get “stupid”…
The food is good, drinks/beer are good, with lots of local vendors representing!
Prices are reasonable for stadium food and the facility is great!!
We can’t count how many times there have been rows full of young kids cheering their favorites! Truly a family friendly venue in Springfield!
We can’t get enough and even our picky teenagers like to come.
Bring your family and cheer the Cardinals!

The Springfield Conservation Nature Center is a 79-acre natural landscape that offers hikers and wildlife watchers an array of recreational activities to enjoy. The center also has self-guided exhibits and displays for educational purposes, as well as guided tours that can be booked in advance.
I love the outdoors and this is the place I take my family when I want to feel a little more outdoorsy. Great trails that you can push a stroller and animals everywhere it’s pretty much the best park around!

Very nice place, and the indoor center had some unexpected exhibits. There are lots of trails for both moderate walks and aggressive hikes. Well maintained and informational. Be sure to ask the staff to activate the nocturnal exhibit👍

This is a scenic area with nice well-marked trails. We hiked the Long Trail and enjoyed the fall colors. We will visit again when we're in town and do more exploring.
K O — Google review
It's a nice mix of different terrain. Compact gravel, dirt, muddy spots in wet weather, smooth and jagged rock, elevated platform walkways, small stream crossings with bridges are all there. It's well maintained. Nothing is too strenuous but there are hills if you chose to go down those trails. Almost always having tree cover, except for the winter months, it feels and looks great. Just don't expect great vistas
The only bad thing is the noise. It sits adjacent to and along highway 65 south of Springfield on the way to Ozark and Branson. The constant, loud drone of a major traffic way just can't be escaped anywhere here. I recommend some nice nature sounds in some earphones while you walk the trails. Just stay aware and safe.

This is a fantastic spot. There is something for everyone. I saw humans from 1 to 80 enjoying the nature center and trails. So many interactive exhibits for kids and the trails are very accessible. Picnic areas available though no food is provided on site. Beautiful and well kept trails with fantastic trees, flowers, and wildlife. I could honestly spend the day there and the best part…it’s free of charge. Yep-#free. Helpful and friendly staff are there to guide you and answer questions. Truly a special place.

Beautiful wooded area with lots of trails and opportunities to view wildlife. The visitor's center has awesome hands-on displays that younger kids will love and learn from. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Seems like there is always a presentation that you can sit in on. I highly recommend spending some time here, hike a trail and enjoy.

This is a wonderful place to walk and see nature. The boardwalk is my favorite part. Didn't see as many animals as you would other times of the year but enough to make it interesting. Feel like you get a lot of exercise especially going back up the hill to the parking lot. Spring is the best time to go.

I recently went here with my Mother-in-law. The trails were amazing and well kept. There was a wide variety of birds and wildlife. There is plenty of stuff to learn and see at the main building too. Im taking my family back here to learn about our state wildlife! Ive been here years ago but forgot about this gem in Springfield. Its amazing that you can start a trail by the highway and a mile down the road be surrounded by nature and bird calls. We completely forgot the highway was so close. Thank you to the Conservation Department for this wonderful gem!

Beautiful trails. I spent 6 weeks in Springfield for school and came here to walk almost every day. The trails are well maintained. I could easily walk 3 or 4 miles without feeling like I was walking in circles. I always felt safe walking alone. Great place to take photos.

Beautiful maintained trails. Nice and partially shaded. A bit of relaxation on the edge of the city. Kind of that feeling of getting out into the woods without going to far and you never know what to may see for creatures.
Gail Dietmeyer — Google review
Excellent walking trails, kept up great. It's a good place to run or to take a stroll it's shaded most of the trails. Some open Trails for the Prairie field. Time your hike correctly and you will see lots of wildlife, deer, snakes, Chipmunks, Hawks, lots of squirrels and birds.
Andrew Farmer — Google review
Even after winter spurt, the temp Rose and created a very nice hike opportunity. An update in Feb 24, when you can't fish, at least get out for a bit of nature. Thanks
Eric Weiskopf — Google review
I was a volunteer at the Nature Center for years, but before that I was an avid visitor. The reason for "no pets" is partly due to the fact that there might be adverse interactions with wildlife, and not everyone wants to be near your pet, no matter how friendly, as the trails can be narrow in places. The building closes at 5, but the grounds stay open later. This is a little gem "in town!" Missouri has one of the best Department of Conservation. Please take advantage and enjoy the many spots available to you, not just in the Springfield area, but the entire state. And remember to pack out what you pack in. Trash affects every one and every thing.

Always a great hike. Good shoes are a must and hiking shoes can be helpful as the stream does go over the rocks in some places. There are nice areas along the path for kids to stop and splash in the water. Lots of benches along the way. If the main building is open, there are some interesting exhibits and children’s activities. There are bathrooms both in the building and outside near the start of the trail.

Time-tested cave with an accessible path & boardwalk, guided tours & historic artifacts.
This was very cool to see. The tour guide/ storyteller was a hidden gem for sure. Loved learning the history of the cave and area. It's about an hour tour with a paved path walkway. Our guide turned the lights off and sang a song in native language. Brought goosebumps to your arms. I recommend.

This was an interesting adventure. It was 14°, but we HAD to see the cave lit up by the solstice. What an amazing time to go, even in the cold. Our guide, Kevin, was a good story teller for sure. Its a short tour. Goes back about 500 feet. The walkways are nice and the walk in and out are manageable for just about anyone.
Its worth it to go and learn about the local history and see some carvings in the cave.

We stopped at this cave thinking it was just an open area...but were pleasantly surprised to find that they gave guided tours.
We've been to 3 dozen caves, and this one was enjoyable. I got lucky, having a healing broken ankle and in crutches - I was able to navigate this tour - as it is all on a paved walkway. There are a couple of spots that are on a slight incline and a few areas where there is a bit of water on the path -- but these were both very minimal. The length is 1/2 mile one way, so that helped.
Our tour guide, Nathan, was knowledgeable, so friendly, and paced the tour perfectly! We enjoy nature and history, this cave tour provided a little bit of both. Gift shop & bathrooms in the grounds- and several tours available.
If you're traveling in the area, Smallin' Cave is definitely worth a stop.

Love this place! The owners and staff are very friendly and have lots of interesting knowledge. They have really taken the time to do their research and make sure the information they are giving is accurate. They have also partnered with with the local native American tribe The Osage to keep the site historically accurate. We took the basic tour and were very impressed. The next time we visit we are going to make sure to book a private tour so we can go further into the caves. Can't wait to visit again.

Tour was good, we were alone with the tour guide and he took us through the cave in about 45 minutes, which was plenty of time. Some interesting facts about cave history was included with a short prep movie. There was a smattering of political/religious commentary that may or may not put you off.

Cute cave experience, this is our 4th one in 2 weeks! This cave was discovered and used by the Osage Indians first! It actually has no soda straws growing in it (he said it was only 1 of a few) not much water in there due to the drought so not many critters, my husband did spot a orangish salamander thought! Flashlights are helpful to see further back! No small or low points in the cave to pass😉
Julia Cumpton — Google review
It’s a cool cave, but I’m not sure it’s $30 a piece cool. I suppose everything is going up these days and it does look like they spend your money keeping the place up. And our guide was good. I found the several sea creature fossils interesting for sure.
Craig Coburn — Google review
The tour guide was great but the cave is small. $27-$30 seems kinda to much for what it’s worth. They also take a picture of you with their phone and at the end they tell you that if you want the picture of yourself printed out it costs you $10. Ridiculous! Go to Fantastic Caverns, 100 times more beautiful and they give you the group picture for FREE!

I read mixed reviews and wasn't sure if I wanted to come. Believe me, it's worth it! Jonica was our tour guide and Eric waited on us and gave me some history. He even sang us a couple of native American songs from the Osage. Watch the videos that are playing in the small waiting area! Awesome little gift shop, too! Highly recommend checking this gem out! My family loved it!!

Must see! This cave is amazing, easy for everyone of all ages to enjoy, and it has a great history. The docents are rich with knowledge and can bend their presentation to all needs. My father in-law is blind and Gary gave the perfect tour. Don’t let the price of admission change your mind, go to this cave! It’s worth it.

The guy at the counter was very friendly and happy to tell us all about some of the artifacts on display. The tour was a lot of fun, plenty of things, animals, formations, and nature to see.
Will was an awesome tour guild. He had answers for any questions about the tour and we had a blast learning about the history of the Smallin Cave.
The was a small cave on the way there that was a disappointment (The cave is named The Disappointment Cave). We had a good laugh about that.
110% would recommend! Worth the price and I would definitely get the picture they offer. It’s a great memory!

Family visited in August 2023 on a whim because we saw a sign while traveling. Did not disappoint. The tour was amazing. The knowledge of our guide was amazing. She kept it fun for everyone. The cave was beautiful and the owners were great! If I could recommend something out of the way but worth the trip...this is it. Take the time to see what Smallin cave has to offer.

Happened upon this wonderful cave yesterday. The tour is about an hour on mostly level walkways. About 1/2 mile long. It doesn't have all the fancy stalagtites, stalagmites or other features but what it does have is history well presented. The features are very interesting to see and hear about. This is a mom & pop operation and they are there selling tickets, answering questions and leading tours. It was even more fun because of the leaf colors! We really enjoyed it.

Will was the best tour guide! He was very articulate and knowledgeable. The cave tour is on the small side, but it's beautiful! We did Marvel cave the day before and did not want anything that difficult. This tour was as advertised and had no stairs. Interesting history lesson, too. Make sure to ask Will about the danger of walking backwards while talking to a cute girl. 😉

Our guide was very knowledgeable. The cave was beautiful. We lived hearing the history of the cave. The tour was surprisingly short. This cave is big but shallow compared to other caves we've traveled to. Much less formations in this cave compared to others as well.
5-mile drive-thru reserve with hundreds of wild animals seen from a private car or guided bus tour.
I want to start off here by stating. Take the bus tour then see the animals by the office THEN drive through the park yourself. It will be a 1000 times better if you do.
We went off season aka late Feb. Less people to deal with. However, we went when it was 70 out and we're the only ones on the bus
We learned so much more about animals this way. Like the names, how they got there. How to get them to come get treats, etc.
By the time we came back in our own van we already knew where to look for them and had almost all of them coming to see us at the van. It did not cost extra to do both.
As for the zoo area it was very small. The animals do seem happy but would like to see animals like lions, and giraffes have bigger spaces. The rest were mostly goats, camels, sheep, fox, etc.
My favorite was the giraffes and especially the fish pond. If you talk to the staff you can find out a lot of the struggle to modernize the park. As such I think 70 for a family of 4 is fair so they can continue to improve.
I definitely enjoyed my time there as did my family. Only wish we had something similar in Colorado.
I hope to come back in a few years to see what improvement has been made.

Amazing experience I think I was more excited than the kids! Wish I could give more stars. This place is very unique and very big. I only bought 1 bag of food thinking that's all we would need that was not the case definitely could have used 2. Some of the animals just to name a few were pigs, deer, zebra, donkeys, alpacas, the list goes on. We will definitely be back! Cost us $20 once we got there and 6 dollars and some change per bag of feed. Afterwards I realized online was cheaper but the experience was absolutely worth it.

Such a cool experience! The workers were so kind and it’s honestly a good deal. We just had adults go, and it was scary but in the funniest way!! Don’t worry about your car, we only had one animal scratch our car but you could wipe it away with your finger. The animals were very very gentle (the ostrich & emu were scary but as gentle as they can be, I was never worried about any of them biting us) For 2 adults 3 bags of feed was plenty, 10/10 recommend!
Laura VanBurkleo — Google review
I would give more stars but we were disappointed after a 4 hour drive to see this very advertised, highly praised park. They talked it up way too much for what was delivered. The trees, ponds, and drive thru the park was pretty, but saw maybe 30 animals(zebra, emus, camels, pigs, Llama, bovine, deer, donkeys) at the most on the drive part. They boys and my husband and I did enjoy the animals that did approach, but we definitely saw more scenery than animals. The price should be per vehicle, not per person for the drive part, in our opinion. $70 plus tax and plus food cost for 3 people was steep for the few animals on the drive. We bought 2 cups of feed and had an entire cup left at the end... Suggestions would be identification signs for what the animals are and maybe some info on them. Also signage encouraging people to move over and not block the road would be good along with mph signs.
We did eat here as well and the food was typical prices and average food.
We didn't see any giraffes or many other animals advertised. Maybe because it was November, maybe spring is better? The large cats were in their enclosures and many building needed repainting/better upkeep.

This was an absolutely amazing experience, and we didn't realize how big the park actually is until you start driving down it. So many different animals, and it was so fun feeding them. It was also the first time I have ever pet a zebra ! The only thing that was a big scary was that a steer with Big horns shook its head near our car and hit some of the windows. Was a bit worried they were going to break or something, but it all worked out. Overall we had an amazing time !! Definitely will be coming back in the future. Especially once they get the otter area in 🦦.

Made an impromptu stop yesterday (8/10) on the way home from vacation with the family.
Great, friendly staff that even gave us a new cup after a camel played pick pocket in our truck lol.
Lots of animal options. Had a chance to interact with Buffalo which has always been on the bucket list. The kids loved feeding and encountering the animals.

Where do I start? This is our 2nd visit. After the first visit, which was a little slice of heaven. We thought it could not get any better. We were driven through in a windowless school bus, by I think Santa in the off season!? Feeding and feeding the amazing animals. We left the happiest folks! Bring us to visit 2….we rented their SUV and drove ourselves 😳….BEST DECISION EVER! No worries about our vehicle allowed us to get up close and personal. We took tons of their food and drove real slow. The slober was big time, so bring a towel. But it was the best experience! Brought my 11yr and 15yr old.

Such a great time!! Got there right when it opened and the animals were very active and engaged. The feeding was hilarious & so much fun! The walk about at the end was amazing, getting to feed the giraffes, llamas, goats & more! We each had 1 bag of food for the drive and 1 bag for the walk about. It was the perfect amount!

Omg!!!! This place is amazing! I went with my wife . Coolest part is feeding the animals from giraffes to goats to zebras to camels!!!! Hand feeding them!!! I’m 40 and so is my wife. Cool for kids or adults . We rode the bus for the tour next time we will drive one of our cars with a sunroof to take killer pictures and videos!!!
$51 for the two of us with one bag of feed. We bought another bag when we got back to do the walk through hand feeding! Check out this pictures!!!

We drove through and this was an amazing experience!
LISTEN to the instructions given by the lady who gives you the rules. It is a "well worn" one way with NO shoulder in many areas.
The hills you drive through are steep, however I have a small 4 cylinder car and did fine.

nothing really stood out as amazing..kinda pricey..small amount of animals during the driving area, lots of deer, pigs, goats, donkeys..some seem happy to get food, others kinda demand it..the buffalo (giant and unknowingly scary), the ostriches were scary, aggressive and dangerous..then following the coarse y to patches of zero animals..nice view of the surrounding lake tho.
I much preferred the inside area..the giraffe was cool, a few goats and a few cows..all generally well behaved and fun. Would I recommend, not sure..others seem to love it..just not my bag..I love animals dearly, but overall meh.

I would rate 4.5 stars. The drive through was fun and lots of animals to feed and interact with. Our driver was good. I suggested 2 bags of food for the drive through tour, so you don't run out. The animals are excited to see new people and get treats. It's great to be able to get so close. They were all friendly. The grounds are huge and nice. Feeding the giraffes was amazing. They're so friendly.

This place is an amazing animal experience. All the staff were friendly and competent and seem to genuinely love the animals and the organization. Our tour bus driver, Dennis, was great at his job and seemed to really enjoy working there. The animals all have appropriate space and enrichment in their enclosures and seem well taken care of and happy. The shaved ice was really good and hit the spot on the hot day. The gift shop is spotlessly clean and well-stocked with a great variety. And there's a penny pressing machine which was a hit with the kids. My only suggestions for improvements are the prices in the gift shop were a little high for some items so I didn't buy as much as I normally would have, and it would be awesome if the tour guide tip jar had a venmo QR code for those who want to tip but don't have cash. Can't wait to go back!

The drive through Safari was fun. Kids really enjoyed getting to feed the animals as we went through. The bus driver was knowledgeable. Get information about the animals we were seeing their walkabout s entertaining. The drafts are fun. They come right up and say hi to you. We went as a school activity so I'm not sure what the regular missions are but for what we paid. This was a great experience.

Great place to take the family. Would recommend buying plenty of food. The animals all love being fed, and they know when you have food. Would recommend that if you don't want any damage to your vehicle from horns, slobber, pay $20 to use one of their rental vehicles to drive through the park. The giraffes gave wonderful photo ops when being fed, too.
Jamie Deller — Google review
This was a good family experience. We got there around 2pm and a lot of the drive was empty or had sleeping animals, but then we got to feed some fun ones like zebras, bison, deer, and lots of hungry cows. It was hilarious how they would come up to the open window and just stick out their tongues for food. We also liked feeding the giraffes and baby goats in the walkabout zoo. If we go again, we'll try to get there earlier and try to catch more of the animals when they're hungry.

We have been coming here since I was a child. We have kept the tradition alive with our kiddos (now 22 down to 10) it’s a must do at least once a year! So much to do and see. The animals are so sweet and funny. They seem to add to it every time we come down. Make this place part of your family tradition!!! You won’t regret it!!

Kids would love this drive-through. it would take about 2hours to complete the whole safari including the walkthrough area. You may want to start with the walkthrough first as they have Lions, White tiger, Giraffe and plenty of other animals and reptilians. You may not get time to see these animals after the drive through since they close by 5. During the drive through, make sure to take couple of dry towels, buffalos will drool on you and the car, heck it can even get its head all the way to the passenger seat when you feed them...LOL apart from than, it is enjoyable drive. Must try during spring or summer.
