Absolutely beautiful nature center and botanic garden. It's just feels so relaxing to take a walk through the trail, you just won't feel tired, in-fact you will just end up feeling very refreshed.

Came here to check out different walking trails and the one that wraps around the lake is absolutely stunning. There were birds everywhere, the flowers were in full blossom and I loved the waterfall when you first enter. Absolutely highly recommend stopping here if you’re a nature junkie like me.

We went to a party there. The party room was beautiful. We also walked around the lake trail. We will go back soon to see how the plants and trees come to life over the summer.

I hiked at Lake Katherine this weekend. It's a Mile around the lake its beginner friendly and they have plenty benches for anyone that needs to sit/rest or take in the view along the trail. I am plus hiker so if your plus and want to start hiking. This is a nice short trail to start out.
I really enjoyed the bodies of water in this hike. They had a lake, an active Channel and a small waterfall. The water fall on the hill made me feel like I went to a different state lol. I do recommend getting some snow cleats or spikes for your boots/shoes if you want to hike in winter when there is snow/ice on the ground. It was pretty icy but my friend made it without them on.
The trail does seem to have houses around, so part of the trail is not all nature.
Trail length: 1 mile
Parking: Yes
Dog friendly: Yes
Bathrooms: Yes, only saw signs that they are in nature center but was close due to an event. Did not see any porta potties. So if you come here go bathroom before coming.
Has designated picnic area: Yes
Strict or relaxed?: Seems strict. Signs show No Grilling, parties, Picnics, fishing, feeding ducks, biking, or going in the water around the lake area. Sign says you can picnic in the designated picnic area only by the parking area. (see image)

We hosted an event at the clubhouse at Lake Katherine. The scenery was beautiful. All of our guests loved the setting and ambiance of the center. Lisa was a gracious host and really helped make our event special. Thank you! This place was truly a gem.

Went to an event here and the staff were absolutely incredible. Very helpful. The site is so beautiful and filled with wildlife, beautiful scenery, and gorgeous flowers. Loved it!

My fiance and I love this place. It's always a nice quiet and relaxing walk to decompress from the day. I like sitting by the waterfall and listening to the sounds of nature.

I haven't lived in Palos for 45 years and I haven't been back until I recently visited Lake Katherine. This is a beautiful nature area with waterfalls and lovely landscaping around the lake. I wish it existed in 1977. But glad Palos Heights developed this area.

Lake Katherine Nature Center is such a beautiful place to visit with kids, friends, and family. They have a picnic table, a butterfly garden, green areas for walk , and birds swimming in the lake. Etc.
Go and visit the nature center for kids to learn more about the wildlife.

It is such a great place to go and relax. There is no charge to enter. But donations are always welcome. Only thing you may have to pay for is if you like to go Kayaking. They also have events for kids. Ex. Fishing, gardening, and more.

Such a hidden gem if you don't know the area. Perfect for a nice walk with plenty of birds to watch and the fall colors make it even better. The quaint waterfall has always been a highlight. Bring a book for the free lending library box on the trail.

It’s so peaceful and beautiful here you can walk for miles around this water. The waterfall is small, but still beautiful. This is a great place for a picnic in the park with family or friends. Great place to walk and get your miles in. Great place to relax and watch the ducks/ swans. Plenty of benches to sit and relax and enjoy the views and the sounds of nature.

This spot along the Cal-Sag Trail is beautiful, relaxing, and educational.
The Lake Katherine Trail has many plants, trees, and benches that have been dedicated to residents of the area who have passed on. The plants and trees are labeled to help nature lovers identify what kind they are. A White Oak, Northern Catalpa, and Norway Spruce are just three of the trees that one will find while walking along the winding trail.
The winding trail follows Lake Katherine, which happens to be a manmade lake. A wide shallow waterfall feeds water to the artificial lake. Kayaking is permitted on the lake. If that is not your thing, you can sit on a lakeside bench and take in the relaxing sights and sounds of this beautiful suburban oasis.

I had a wonderful time. It was absolutely beautiful and very clean. It was nice going to a nature center that wasn't covered in garbage. A wonderful place to take photos and relax by the water. There's plenty of benches and even designated picnic tables.

Lake Katherine is amazing. My wife and I take our son for walks over there. You can walk around and view nature. They have a monarch butterfly exhibit that's open in the spring/summer that kids will absolutely love. You can go canoeing in the lake and watch the swans which would be a perfect date with that special someone if you're into that kind of things also with amazing views of wildlife, wild plants, a community garden hidden away in the back that people plant and grow veggies and plants for the local pantry. They have a small book library you can borrow from but please take one, give one if you can. Lake Katherine has a great experience and I'm sure anyone would love it..

The John Hancock Observatory is located on the 94th floor of the John Hancock Center and offers panoramic views of Chicago and its surroundings. The observation deck features high-powered telescopes that allow visitors to view landmarks such as Willis Tower, Navy Pier, and more from 1,000 feet in the air. In addition to the beautiful sights below, 360 Chicago also provides informative audio commentary and educational displays about notable landmarks around the deck and on the elevator ride up.
What amazing view from all four sides of the building. The price is not cheap, especially if you add the tilt but it will be worth your money for sure. We went up about 45 min before the sunset. This was a perfect time. You can see the city and lake with daylight, watch a beautiful sunset over the city and then see the lights as it gets dark. The sunset reflecting off the lake was absolutely breathtaking. It was not crowded and could find window front views. The line to the elevator was long but moved quickly.
H Caballero — Google review
I think it is one of the best places that you can have elevated view of Chicago. I suggest to go there close to sunset, the view is awesome when it gets dark. It also has a tilt window, which you need to pay extra, but worth it. It also has a part as sky walk, where the don't have windows and you can feed the wind. I really enjoyed visiting this place.
Tahmoures — Google review
Nice 360 degree views from all around the 95th floor. The restaurant and souvenir shops are good as well. As for the Tilt attraction, it is not up to the hype. It falls short of the expectations. Firstly, it is too short of an experience.. (might be a minute to two at most). Secondly, the actual Tilt is not that much.. It should be at least 60 - 90 degrees to have some adventure and thrill aspect in it. Given the high prices and expensive photos, it doesn't just cut it.
Hardik Maharaja — Google review
I really liked this place, not only does it have a breathtaking view of all of Chicago and Lake Michigan. But there is also a restaurant where you can have a romantic lunch with your girlfriend. So I recommend everyone to come here for a wonderful romantic lunch or dinner
Aleksei Pavlov — Google review
Wonderful view from the top. The tilt experience worth a lot. We got a small problem with the reservation and Lucia, from the customer service, helped us to solve it, and in general all the staff is very helpful. Maybe the service of the bar can be improved, the cocktails are not good enough for the price of the ticket
margherita ramini — Google review
Definitely recommend going half an hour before sunset. Tickets around that time sold out fast so I'd recommend buying in advance. The line wasn't so bad, it was a 5-10 minutes wait for me when I went on a Thursday evening. lt was so worth it! The sun setting down on the skylien is a magical moment. They have the bar ready if you want to watch the sunset and sip a drink or two.

Absolutely a must-see in Chicago! This tower is pretty amazing. The entrance is pretty cool with all sorts of amazing Chicago facts on the walls. I love how the criss-cross beams that make up the structure are visible on the inside as well. We went on kind of a cloudy day, but even still the view of the city was awesome. Excellent viewing opportunities on each 4 sides of the building. There's even a bar if you want to get something to drink! We did the Tilt which was so fun, and freaky at the same time. I honestly was not expecting to tilt out as far as we did but that made it even more fun! 100% recommend everyone does it. A weird little oddity that was both terrifying and cool at the same time was the amount of spiders that make their up up that high on the building. A lot of the widows are just covered in them, and it's so strange since they're so high up, but was kind of neat. There's a wonderful gift shop with mostly reasonably priced items for your Chicago merchandise needs.
Robert Carter — Google review
Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! For sure a must visit while you are visiting Chicago or a long time resident! The price was very reasonable for the experience you receive! The views were spectacular and a beautiful sight to see. Highly recommend visiting during the evening hours, near sunset and well after and you can just watch the city glow! Bar is well stocked with many drink choices and a variety of beer and liquor to choose from! Overall exceptional experience and well worth the wait!
Ghost Gotti — Google review
Tickets are cheaper online than at the location.
If you are active military or veteran, you get 10% off at site. Thereby your online or site pricing would be same i.e $90 for two adults (Tilt and View) tickets inclusive of taxes.
The queue wasn’t that bad for the weekend compared to insane wait times at The Edge OR One World Observatory in NYC.
The views are fantastic and experiencing Tilt is worth extra $10.
City Pass doesn’t include Tilt.
Washrooms are easily accessible and clean.

What a great view. You have an amazing view of the lake and the city. With the morning sun shining it's just beautiful. The Tilt experience was very brief. Neat, but brief. We got the whole package that included a drink for the Cloud bar, a tilt experience and admission at an early time so it was a little cheaper. Definitely worth spending some time in.
Amanda Dabb (Taharial) — Google review
It was very nice! Too bad the rooftop bar was under construction, but there was still a "bar area". Definitely download the app to view the history of the different buildings! We went on a Sunday and it was very crowded (I don't like large crowds) BUT there is plenty of space/places to sit/places to take pictures so it didn't feel crowded. Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience even for a resident!
Deanna Howlett — Google review
Spent four days in Chicago from the UK and this was the first place we went. What an amazing modern building that definitely stands out in the Chicago skyline. We went up the building about mid morning. The price to go up and for tilt are pretty reasonable. There weren't any queues as it was a Thursday, so we went straight up. It's amazing how quick the lift is to the 94th floor.
The views are just spectacular! There are digital maps so you can zoom in and out and scroll around so you know what you're looking at.
Tilt was fun. It makes you a bit nervous as you start to tilt out and face down, but it's definitely worth it.
The staff are friendly, welcoming and happy go help.
Definitely worth having a drink at the Cloud Bar while you relax and take in the views.
I would definitely recommend visiting!
Adam McGibbon — Google review
This is a neat thing to do, especially for first time Chicago visitors such as ourselves. I had high hopes for this, which is probably part of the reason I was a little disappointed. For $45 a person, it just didn’t live up to the hype. The view is beautiful and it is 360°, However the tilt thing wasn’t all that exciting, and only goes 30°, which means you’re barely tilted over the edge. I know for some people it is scary, but I think it needs to tilt over much more for people such as myself that want something more exciting. it also only lasts for about 20 or 30 seconds. I’m giving it 4 instead of 3 stars because of the beautiful view, clean environment, and plenty of space. All of the staff at the front desk on ground level and much of the staff for the elevators and in the observation deck are fairly inattentive and rude. In fact, the only staff member that I recall that smiled and was friendly and polite was the young girl that took our photo on the 1st floor.
Ares Olympius — Google review
We walked straight in after buying tickets online, but we shouldn't have bothered as there was no queue. The views at the top were amazing, and as it was really quiet, we got a window table to enjoy our drinks while enjoying the view. The building has great views over Lake Michigan and the city surroundings. I had a go on the 'Tilt', but it was a bit disappointing; it was over very quickly and it was definitely a not-very-scary experience. It was not worth the $10. However, the 360 Chicago generally was worth the entry price, and I would definitely recommend it.
Patricia Goldring — Google review
The 360 experience was quite great and expansive, even on a day with limited/no visibility. We saw clear views north of the Lincoln park, the Michigan lake and the navy pier, with cloudy views of the south side with buildings. There are tall chairs, where one can sip and watch the cars go by with views of the cement beach and the Lincoln park.
Would advise booking tickets at least 2 days in advance, to prevent paying surge prices. The best time to visit is either in the afternoon, where the John Hancock tower casts long shadows or in the night, where one can watch the tinkling lights of the city. Worth the visit. Looking at the bird's eye view of the Chicago skyline is an amazing experience.
Ipshita Datta — Google review
I had a few minutes for lunch and my hotel was close so I decided to get my TILT on at the 360 CHICAGO Experience. This spot provides a very unique perspective of Chicago's skyline. You’re standing within it on the 94th floor of the John Hancock Building. Ascending 1,000 feet above the Magnificent Mile, there are panoramic views for days. And now, we TILT on Chicago's highest thrill ride, offering a unique encounter with Chicago’s skyline as the glass lookout tilts outward. That’s right, you are planking toward the south. Incredible! So glad I did this.
Sara Govero — Google review
Such a cool place to go. If you are a tourist you definitely have to try it. And if you live in Chicago and you haven’t try this you definitely should.
My husband and I enjoyed the amazing and gorgeous views but also the attention was really nice. Plus you get to have a romantic dinner with great cocktails.
Andreina Silva — Google review
The views were absolutely amazing! I enjoyed the entire experience. I just wish there were better directions given for lines to form when your time slot comes up. The suspense leading up to the tilt was great and once the tilt was completed, I felt like I accomplished a huge fear! The Cloud Bar had great drinks, I just wish there was more seating by the windows when it is crowded
Crystal Sturgis — Google review
Really cool view of Chicago you can see most of the city from here. It is really cool. I totally recommend doing the tilt which is scary and fun. If you do go buy your tickets on their website because that way it will be cheaper
Kevin Mullett (Kev) — Google review
The views are absolutely stunning! There really wasn't any direction on where to go or what to do. We got there at our time and there was a massive line. We decided to get our drinks before waiting, which was smart because it was sooooo hot in there. We were able to finish our drinks before our turn, but we didn't end up doing the Tilt experience until after 9. We were scheduled for 8. The people in front of us were supposed to be after us. It didn't make any sense. It was super crowded and hard to get pictures, which sucked because that's the whole reason for going up there. We still managed to make the best of it, but just know if you schedule a time, it doesn't mean that's when you will actually be doing it.

Take the red line up to the Chicago stop and it is just a few blocks walk. Lots of stores along the way. Had a very good time and I recommend going. If you don't have a lot of time you can knock it out in an hour. Go early.

Had an absolute blast visiting this iconic spot in Chicago! Stumbled upon it after watching this insane video on askLAYLA and knew I had to see it for myself. The 360 views are out of this world – you literally get to see the entire city skyline from a bird's eye perspective. It's a must for anyone wanting to soak up the city vibes from above. Whether it's day or night, the views are stunning, but catching a sunset here is next-level amazing. They've also got a little cafe where you can grab a drink and just sit back to enjoy the scenery. Super chill. If you're planning to visit, try to go on a weekday to skip the bigger crowds. Trust me, it's a whole vibe and a great way to see Chicago in all its glory.

Fantastic views of the city and very informative walk to the elevators. I can't wait to bring my kids up when they come with me to visit.
They lose a star for the cheap material their automatic penny press uses. Not only were some off center but they were discolored (silver) by the time I brought them home(2 days later). They also had a sign selling collection books but the gift shop attendant said they don't sell those and didn't have any idea what I was talking about at first. So avoid that machine.

When sightseeing in Chicago, I think it's best to go to Willis Tower or Chicago 360 (John Hancock Building). It might be a good idea to take in the scenery of Chicago, the birthplace of skyscrapers, as a memory of your trip.
There were three main types of tickets on the day: just climbing the building, climbing the building ➕ TILT (tilting attraction), and climbing the building ➕ TILT ➕ SIP (getting a drink at the bar above).
As of March 2024, the cost of climbing the building➕TILT➕SIP (you can have a drink at the bar above) was $60 per person on Saturday, March 16th.
Even if you don't drink alcohol, they also have non-alcoholic menus and juices. The bar wasn't open at night so it didn't have a great atmosphere, but it was a good place to quench your thirst. TILT doesn't seem to be scary, but when I tried it, I was surprised to find that even though I'm not afraid of heights, I was unable to walk.

Pretty dope place. The elevator was exhilarating, colors were bold, interesting Information blasting the membrane and a quick picture to summon the memories. Kiddie corner to the “Tilt” ride sat A nice bar to relax those nerves that sat literally above the clouds “Cloud Bar” was the name to be exact! I Wasn’t able to ride my nerves were too bad. 😝But it was definitely a nice place to enjoy a drink with the purchase of a ticket. And the vibe was pretty pretty cloud 9🖤 It was also kid friendly may I add.

Always fun. A bit of a line to get into TILT but lots to learn and read about the building of the structure as you make your way through the line. Cute bar with mocktails for kids. Stunning views all around.

Back in 2009, I visited this spot and recently had the chance to share my thoughts. The panoramic view of Chicago from the 103rd level is truly remarkable. I skipped the thrill glass ride as it didn't seem too scary. Instead, I opted for a drink at the cloud bar—decent drinks and service, but the highlight is the stunning view. There's also a gift shop for those interested. Overall, a decent spot, especially for newcomers in town.

Chicago's primary commercial district is the Magnificent Mile, located in the Loop area. It is a bustling and vibrant part of the city that boasts more than 460 stores, including high-end luxury brands like Burberry, Louis Vuitton and Gucci. The district also features numerous restaurants serving cuisine from all over the world as well as some of Chicago's best hotels. Visitors can explore art galleries such as LIK Fine Art Chicago which showcases works by renowned photographer Peter Lik.
A sculpture of a bean located in Millennium Park in Chicago, Cloud Gate is an easily Instagrammable spot that can be photographed from close up or further back with the skyline of Chicago as the backdrop.
This is Chicago's icon.
When you visit Chicago, firstly you should come here to see this art. Each season, this place is crowded because not only tourists but also Chicago's public comes together here. Therefore, be careful against Corona Virus.
Once I saw this bean from away, I thought it is just metal. However, when I came closer, I noticed the geometric shape, curve, transparency, and reflectiveness. That affected me deeply. You can take a different type of your photo thanks to its reflectiveness.
I wish I have a chance to see this place in summer. Unfortunately, I am too away from there.

This is one of the most iconic places to visit while in Chicago! It is amazing how smooth and reflective it is being so enormous! We went on a Monday afternoon in March, but it was still very busy. We were still able to get a few great pictures! Parking is kinda complicated at first, but not too bad. It is all underground, and there are very few signs to tell you where to go (this seems like a very common thread for Chicago). The only signs once you park just say, “Pedestrian Exit”. It is a bit of a walk, so wear good shoes.

An iconic location for Chicago visit. It’s always packed with tourist. You just have to wait your turn to get your spot. Forewarning, just pick the day without rain and pictures will turn out great. I think selfie stick is a must for this location. The park is clean and well maintained by law enforcement. Parking is challenging for sure. Recommended public transportation.

Cloud Gate, I've been calling it 'The Bean' all week.
I would definitely recommend visiting this piece of art when you're in Chicago. My partner and I didn't expect much to be honest. My partner said its just a mirrored bean. But it's actually pretty cool and very large. It's great on a sunny day to see the sun's reflection along with the sky and buildings and makes for some awesome photos.
Head to the Bean you won't be disappointed!

A must visit tourist attraction place. Sit and walk around for 15 minutes, take pictures and selfies. The Bean is free to visit, so you don't need to "sprout" any ticket money . Designed by an Indian architect as per Google search. The structure is big, and you can pass under it as well. Shiny!

As of Thanksgiving 2023, it is still closed to the public due to maintenance. I was told that the people from Chicago weren't thrilled with "the bean" when it was first built, but it has become an icon. I love how you can see the reflection of the city on it. You can still get a good photo if you find a good spot. It is free to the public.

What a fun experience to take the kids to while I was working in Chicago. I always see the BEAN on movies and TV shows, but have never seen it in person! It was fun to take the kids to it and learn about the history of the BEAN!! This place is packed so try to sneak it and get a good picture. Plenty of people around to take a family photo.

The Bean is a pretty neat experience. A giant chrome coffee bean. Some days it is very crowded. The underside of the bean has some very interesting visual reflections. The absolute center has the only flat mirror portion. If you are in Chicago or plan to visit. I suggest checking it out. There is also some old buildings across the street. We liked looking at the buildings as much as the Bean.

An icon of Chicago not to be missed! You've seen it in movies and shows, and it looks just as spectacular and intriguing in person. I recommend being there before 8am to get almost unblocked (by people) views and photos. Every angle is different and unique in its own way, so take your time to take lots of postcard worthy pictures.

The park itself is a lovely oasis amidst the bustling city, offering a serence escape for locals and tourists alike. Cloud Gate, with its distinctive reflective surface, is a fascinating and iconic structure that draws visitors from around the world.
However, it's worth noting that due to its popularity, the park can get quite crowded, especially during peak tourist seasons. This may affect the overall experience, as maneuvering through the crowds can be a challenge. Additionally, visitors should be prepared for a security check before being allowed to enter the area surrounding Cloud Gate.
Despite the crowds, the beauty and uniqueness of Cloud Gate make it a must-visit attraction in Chicago. Its shimmering reflection of the city skyline and interactive nature make it an engaging and memorable experience for all who visit.

I visited in February on a solo birthday trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed Cloud Gate. It’s how I expected, but honestly much cooler than I thought. Beautiful to watch the sun glint off the sculpture and the ice skating rink is lovely to people-watch. I went on a Saturday and arrived about 11am via the subway — it wasn’t unbearably busy or overcrowded but obviously expect other tourists to be there most of the time. I didn’t have any security check but did see them doing them later in the day. Plenty of restaurants nearby and the park itself is gorgeous. This truly is a can’t-miss!

One of the best architecture pieces in Chicago. As being over the best architecture city in the world this sculpture makes Chicago even more beautiful.
As I was studying in Chicago I visited this place many times and in all different seasons during different times of the day.
Every time it looks more beautiful and every time you visit this place you'd fall in love with this again.
One day I also decided in freezing winter to do small bike trip here and you might see that in one of the photos 😛. If you want to do that that is the only time you can see this place with very few people 😅.
I will surely recommend this place.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Cloud Gate, also known as "The Bean," in Chicago's Millennium Park. As I approached the sculpture, I was immediately struck by its size and reflective surface. The stainless steel surface of the sculpture seemed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding architecture and the sky above.
As I walked around the sculpture, I was amazed by the different perspectives it offered. From one angle, the sculpture appeared to be a giant, shiny mirror, reflecting the surrounding buildings and sky. From another angle, it seemed to be a giant, abstract sculpture, with curves and contours that seemed to defy gravity.
One of the most interesting aspects of the sculpture was the way it interacted with the people around it. Children were running around and playing, while adults were taking photos and admiring the sculpture. It was fascinating to watch the different ways that people were interacting with the sculpture and how it seemed to bring people together in a shared experience.
As I was leaving, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and inspiration. Cloud Gate was not just a sculpture, but a work of art that had the power to evoke emotion and connect people in a unique way. I left feeling grateful for the opportunity to experience such a beautiful and thought-provoking piece of art.

Located in the famous millennium park of Chicago near the downtown area, the cloud gate is one of the most iconic structures to visit. This enormous bean shaped structure is made of steel and extremely smooth and reflective. So reflective that you could see the reflection of your facial features on it. We visited this place way back when, and absolutely loved it. It's a must visit destination when visiting Chicago. And who can forget those stunning views of downtown Chicago.

The Bean (Officially "Cloud Gate") is a large outdoor public work of art, situated in the Millennium Park of downtown Chicago.
Though it's official name is the "Cloud Gate", it is popularly called "The Bean" due to its bean-like shape.
It's exterior is highly polished and smooth, and is like a huge elongated convex metal mirror.
It was built by Anish Kapoor, an India-born British sculptor who is famous for large outdoor art structures. It was unveiled in 2004, and very quickly became a very important tourist attraction in Chicago.
It is 66 feet long, 42 feet wide and 33 feet tall, and weighs 110 tonnes.
The exterior of the Bean is composed of 168 pieces of stainless steel plates which are seamlessly welded together.
The Bean's surfaces are actually metallic mirrors, and they reflect the surroundings clearly. It is really an awesome sight to view the reflections of the sky and clouds and the skyscrapers surrounding it.
People are allowed to touch it, and at all times a huge number of people gather around it to see and photograph their own images as reflected on its surface.
It has become the most well-known iconic art structure of Chicago.

I passed by a few times throughout the year. Winters and Summers are vibrant there. I couldn't tell you what the purpose of this mirrored bean is. And for some reason I never researched it. But its cool to go and look and make your own interpretation of it. Maybe, ask others what their thoughts on it is. There's other thought provoking public art installations to see nearby along water front. Visit during the night and day.

Who knew it was called Cloud Gate. Been calling it the "Bean" all this time, and everyone knew what I was talking about. Interesting feature by day and by night. Great photo ops for a wonderful piece of art. I was staying across the street at CAA, and made several stops here for getting some good pics.

Well, "life ' happened to me. it was under construction for remodeling till Spring. well, you can't get everything. Nevertheless, I did catch a glimpse of it from some distance.
The Bean is a work of public art in the heart of Chicago. It was constructed in Millennium Park between 2004 and 2006 as part of a design competition, created by British-Indian artist Anish Kapoor.
The sculpture, which is officially titled Cloud Gate, is one of the world’s largest permanent outdoor art installations. The monumental work was unveiled in 2004 and quickly became one of Chicago’s most iconic sights.
The Bean’s reflective surface was inspired by liquid mercury. This shiny exterior reflects the people moving around the park, the lights of Michigan Avenue, and the surrounding skyline and green space — perfectly encapsulating the Millennium Park experience. The polished surface also invites visitors to touch the surface and observe their reflection, giving it an interactive quality.
One might wonder how it was built - well here you go- The exterior of The Bean is made entirely of stainless steel (weighs 110 Ton). It was created using computer technology to precisely cut 168 massive steel plates, which were then fitted together and welded shut for a completely seamless finish.
Fact: The Bean receives a power wash each day and a deep cleaning twice each year. During the deep clean, workers use nearly 40 gallons of detergent to bring the metallic surface back to its mirrored state.

They are doing construction h til spring of 2024. If you want a good photo, come after spring. They had it fenced off and the ground around it tore up.
I was able to get some photos through the fence, but there is protective padding on it too. I get needing to update things, but it was a bummer

Didn’t initially think I would enjoy this tourist attraction, but I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. It was really cool to see the reflection of the city skyline in the bean! The reflection was very clear and the concave shape of the bean made the image look like a panoramic photo. Really cool art concept.

Was upset "the bean" was gated off for some sort of construction. Guess I should have read reviews first, but was still nice to show our kids. Purposely stopped by there during the day to see our reflection in it and get a picture, but couldn't even get remotely close to do so. I am sure it is nice when construction is not going on. There is ice skating nearby that looked fun, but we didn't have time to do. As well as some restaurants and food carts/trucks. The amphitheatre is right there and I don't know the exact name for it, but the curvy, metallic bridge. It was frustrating when crossing the bridge at the other end is a park called Maggie Daley park we wanted to check out and we couldn't because there were security guards that randomly decided they were closing the bridge down and we had to go back across it to get back to our car or walk around a really long ways. So we had to turn back to Millennium park. It was only 4pm on a Friday I'm not sure why they closed the bridge. The bridge itself is cool to check out and make the walk to the middle for a good city skyline view. We spent probably about an hour and a half walking around. There is also the famous face water fountain/statue, but the water isn't on in the winter. It's January and they still have some Christmas trees and lights up which makes everything look pretty.
Jaymie Wilde — Google review
They were doing construction, so there was a fence up around it, but you could still see the bean. Attraction is free to see. There is a lot more in that general area so there’s plenty to do. Parking is like anywhere else in the city find a garageand walk to your destination. There are public bathrooms nearby.

Explored this spot in 2009. The sculpture was intriguing and somewhat unique, adding an entertaining vibe to the park. Its popularity drew tourists from all over, eager to capture selfies with it. I checked it out to understand the buzz and share my perspective. Taking photos of the structure is enjoyable, thanks to its mirror-metallic material that offers diverse angles through reflections. It can be challenging to capture a solo reflection with many others attempting the same. The design of the structure also holds a cool allure. If you find yourself bored in Chicago, it's worth a stop for some entertainment.

On a normal day "the bean" or "Cloud Gate" is so great. It is STILL under construction. It is set to become open late spring 2024. It is fenced off still and you can only catch a partial view. Posting this update so visitors are aware and no disappointed upon arrival. Free spot outside. Park has so many beautiful flowers right now!

Visitied this place after 16++ hour drive yesterday during Thanksgiving. It is still UNDER RENOVATION with fences around it. Find a gap between two fences, zoom in, and you will get a better look of this bean-like sculpture. I enjoy the place and city!

As of 4/6/2024 it remains gated and closed off. Still made the best of it and visited this unique sculpture. Seeing the city skyline reflected in the bean was a pretty wonderful sight! The bean's concave shape and strong reflection gave the picture the appearance of a panoramic photograph.

A really cool art instillation in Chicago’s Millennium Park. I was lucky to visit this tourist attraction last July before it was gated off and closed for construction.
When it opens to the public again, be sure to walk around and see your own reflection against the Chicago skyline. Also remember to check out the view from underneath the bean. You’ll be rewarded with a mesmerizing view of weirdly odd circles like you’re looking into another dimension!
Millennium Park is an awe-inspiring public space in Chicago that features an impressive collection of world-class architecture and sculptures. The park is home to the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, one of the world's largest outdoor sculptures by British artist Anish Kapoor and Cloud Gate, one of the world's largest pieces of public sculpture.
Such an amazing place to visit and a must in your in the Chicago area. Great place to capture amazing photos of the famous Bean and downtown area. I really enjoyed hitting the ice skating ring for a few laps. I highly recommend coming here to visit a iconic piece of Chicago.

I loved the different areas of Millennium Park. Cloud Gate was so interesting. My favorite part was inside, looking up at the middle. Downtown Chicago has so many amazing outdoor spaces. The architecture is beautiful and I love how art is sprinkled throughout the city. If you want to get pictures with less people there, you'd probably have to go very early in the morning. I was here in the middle of May, in the middle of the day, during the week and it was busy as if it were the weekend.

It's a cool park to walk through to see some cool pieces of art/sculpture. They have security art the entrance, making sure you are not bringing anything illegal in. We really wanted to see "the bean" (Cloud Gate), but it was fenced off for some maintenance. There were still tons of people trying to take pictures.

Very strange and stunning metallic building with many many speakers hanging in the sky. Super impressive area which combines chilling vibe and sci-fi ish atmosphere around. It's so beautiful when the tress turns in yellow at Fall.

A great place for a walk around.
Also a great place to grab a coffee and people watch.

The Bean was in our sights as a "must see" on this trip to Chicago. It did not disappoint. We discovered how beautiful the Millennium and outskirts of the city was as we walked for hours in shear awe. While it was raining, the umbrella kept us semi dry. The smiles, laughter and happiness of people finally being able to be out and together again, is exactly what COVID took away. It feels good. We will return.

A must visit park while in the Chicago area. It’s a close walking distance from the iconic River walk and it’s right on the Michigan Avenue, just south of the river.
It’s a quiet park, considering the hustle and bustle of the downtown. The park is very well maintained and has a few entrances, controlled by security throughout. You can easily spend 2-4 hours in the park, depending on what you want to do here. There are also regular events held here at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, one of the premier outdoor Amphitheaters, so that will have to factor in. It’s free entrance to the park itself.
You will see ‘The Bean’ work of public art here. The sculpture, which is officially titled Cloud Gate, is one of the world’s largest permanent outdoor art installations, currently undergoing some construction work. Lake Michigan is just a few minutes away from this park and so is the Chicago River. If you took the hop on hop off bus tour, there is a stop at this park as well.

Lovely green Park with lots of community gathering places. The bean plaza is under renovation through March 2024. So can only see through the fence. There is a fantastic outdoor concert space. At the time of year we visited (November) the kinetic water feature between 2 large and changing digital faces had been switched off for the season. It must be great in the summer for kids to cool off and have fun.

The lush greenery, stunning architecture, and vibrant art installations create a perfect harmony that is truly mesmerizing. The iconic Cloud Gate sculpture, affectionately known as "The Bean," is a must-see attraction that never fails to awe visitors with its reflective surface and unique design.
The amenities at Millennium Park are top-notch, with clean restrooms, ample seating areas, and well-maintained walkways. The park is also wheelchair-accessible, making it inclusive for all visitors. One of the highlights of my visit was catching a live performance at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion. The acoustics were phenomenal, and the atmosphere was electric, creating a memorable experience that I will cherish for years to come.
In conclusion, Millennium Park is a true urban oasis that offers a perfect blend of art, nature, and culture. Even though it was closed off it was worth going. The ice-skating was fun. The whole area was very nice and a fun family activity. I will definitely go back! During Christmas time the area looks very pretty with all the lights. The price for the ice-skating is very good! For 1 hour and a half you only got to pay 16 dollars and they even have lockers to secure your stuff.
The ice-skating rink provides a delightful experience for both beginners and seasoned skaters. The well-maintained ice surface ensures smooth gliding, and the facility's vibrant atmosphere adds to the overall enjoyment. Skating sessions are reasonably priced, and the rental equipment is in good condition. The staff is friendly and attentive, offering assistance to those less confident on the ice. The rink's convenient location and ample parking make it accessible, creating a perfect outing for families or friends. While the snack bar offers standard fare, it could benefit from a broader menu. In summary, the ice-skating rink offers a fantastic blend of fun and accessibility, making it a go-to destination for a chilly yet enjoyable experience.
There is plenty of areas picture worthy and the area seemed pretty safe! Please go and enjoy

The Jay Pritzker Pavilion stood gracefully, adorned with a dusting of snow, creating a serene ambiance. Walking through the snowy pathways, the gardens and sculptures took on a different charm, making my visit an enchanting experience that showcased the park's versatility in every season. The park also has a big open ice rink.

This is one of the coolest downtown parks in the US IMHO. Of course a lot of people gravitate to the Bean sculpture; While that's cool it's just a fraction. It's a nice open air park that's simply fun to stroll around with the Chicago downtown as a backdrop. There's something here for everyone. We love the numerous free concerts, fountains, and our kid just loves the playground which is amazing. The park itself is an adventure as there's a lot to see with its constant changing theme and architecture. We find it a great starting point to the many sites Chicago has to offer.
The Art Institute of Chicago is a world-renowned art museum with over 3000 pieces spanning 5000 years of artistic innovation. The museum is located in Grant Park on the city's front lawn and features one of the largest school of architecture in the world.
Thia museum was enormous and I am pretty sure a week in this place still wouldn't be enough time. I wish I would have had more time to appreciate each piece but what I did see was amazing in every single way. The museum is beautiful, spacious, and clean. They have attendants in every room to help you find your way. I would absolutely recommend a visit here and be prepared to spend the way and wear comfortable footwear. They have 4 levels and multiple buildings and wings. I typically don't use elevators unless its a high rise but I did today. There are multiple entrances and exits as well.

Forever captivated by the beauty and history encapsulated in the Art Institute. Not a place to visit too often as the gallery is largely full of permanent installations, but there is always some sort of special exhibition/gallery taking place when they are open. Entire building is extremely clean with staff and maps scattered around in order to make your experience more enjoyable. Many famous works that one recognizes from pop culture or past studies are able to be seen here. One of the top art museums in the world and an undeniable staple in Chicago’s history. Do not miss out on viewing everything it has to offer.

What else is left to say about this incredible museum, which houses so much of the world's amazing art and history? Even people who aren't art buffs will find something to appreciate here (or at least something familiar!). My only gripe about my visit was the extremely long line for the coat check. The staff were working hard to move it along, but we still incurred about a thirty minute wait at drop-off and then again at pick-up during our March visit. Try to avoid checking anything if you can, so you can get in and enjoy the museum.

Very good museum, almost good at everything! It's just one little thing I'd like to say is that it's too big and the instructions are not very significant ( I understand it's for the better look but I got lost and missed some beautiful moments for 3 times....). I hope they have a better touring guidance or audio guide so that I have some clues of sequels in each exhibition area.
Otherwise wow!!! It's like I've never seen so many beautiful stuff performed at once place in a good way, especially the Japanese area, they tried very hard to make the ambience feeling like the Japanese vibe, super impressive. I would say the way of exhibition is better than the Met in New York City.

It is so famous that I had expected the exhibit to be as informative and comprehensive as the British Museum or the Metropolitan. That might be too challenging. The display in each section is lack of clear plot/storyline, by which I mean the items are like various bread slices in a basket, correlated but not unable to compose a full piece. I understand this is an art museum, so the explanation notes mainly focus on art perspective. Still, for visitors who might come from different backgrounds, the museum could have done a better job of interpretation.

This is a stunning collection of artwork from so many famous painters and sculptors. The price is a bit high ($32/adult), but children 13 and under are free. The building felt like a maze at times and there were alarms constantly going off as people stood too close to artwork. Despite those minor inconveniences, this remains one of my favorite art museums!

An absolutely amazing art museum and a must see of Chicago. I visited on a Monday morning which had significantly less crowds than the weekends. Entry was quick and easy and I saved on tickets by using the Citipass. Keep in mind tickets for non residents are more expensive. The entry way is beautiful and it's very easy to navigate around the museum due to the signage and provided maps. I especially like that there is a list of must sees on the back of the map for those who only have a short amount of time to visit like I did. My favorite areas were probably the Impressionists and Ancient Egyptian pieces. The layout is easy to navigate and separated in distinct periods that makes sense, nothing detracts from the pieces themselves, and it's overall an amazing experience. I can't wait to revisit with plenty of time to thoroughly explore all the exhibits.
As for accessibility: there were plenty of wide open spaces and wide open doors for wheelchairs/walkers/etc. to navigate through. There are handicap accessible ramps into the buildings as well as elevators to reach the different floors. There's wheelchair rentals near the coat check as well. https://www.artic.edu/visit/accessibility

This place is immense and worth every penny of the admission fee. See some highlights like American Gothic or that famous Seurat painting at the park you recognize from studying pointillism back in school. But don’t miss some hidden gems: creepy Goya etchings from 1800s Spain, the picture of Dorian Gray from the 1945 film, and a fascinating collection of miniature rooms that look ready for Stuart Little to move in. They also have a very wide range of Picasso styles collected under one roof and the impressionism section truly is a must-see!

The curation of the exhibits is exceptional. Each piece is placed with intention, creating a narrative that invites deep reflection and appreciation. The range of artwork, from classical to contemporary, is presented in a way that tells a story, capturing the essence of different eras and styles.
In addition to the exhibits, the Art Institute offers a coat check service and includes a delightful cafe on the upper level, where visitors can enjoy coffee and some light snacks while taking a break from the art.

The crowds were not as great, but staff also came to the rescue when we were trying to go up a ramp and a hoard of students decided that was their route instead of just using the steps. Thank you Art Institute of Chicago employees!!

Visiting the Art Institute of Chicago was wonderful! Despite a slightly challenging layout, the museum's beauty shone through. It wasn't too crowded, and ticket prices were fair. I was impressed by the diverse range of exhibits, including works by Van Gogh, Monet, Picasso, Andy Warhol, and a ton of other well-known artists. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

What a great museum, I truly enjoyed my visit! I’m a big fan of Vincent Van Gogh art and I wanted to come here and it finally came true. This is a big museum, so definitely you need time to spend and enjoy it, for me it was only 2 hours and I did a little less than half of the museum, but I definitely started with post-Impressionism art, where Vincent Van Gogh’s paintings were and also Monet’s. I had a great experience and I hope to come back in the future to visit the other exhibitions, I couldn’t see. I bought my tickets in advance through their website, I highly recommend this because it gets packed and you don’t have to make a line to purchase the tickets.

The Art Institute of Chicago is a cultural gem. The extensive collection spans diverse eras and cultures, offering a rich artistic experience. Navigating the museum is seamless, thanks to clear signage and well-organized exhibits. The staff is knowledgeable and approachable, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. The museum's architecture is impressive, complementing the masterpieces within. While admission can be a bit steep, the cultural enrichment gained from a visit makes it a worthwhile investment for art enthusiasts.

For this particular occasion we went for the Pablo Picasso exhibit. We paid $5 as Illinois residents and it is worth mentioning that the museum is free during weekdays.
The building itself is admirable, very well taken care of inside and outside. All of the exhibits are being looked after as there are hundreds of art pieces on a daily basis.
Whether you’re are someone who is into sculpting, painting, architecture, mosaics, or any other form of art, the Art Institute of Chicago has something to offer.
Definitely looking forward for more exhibitions.
The Buckingham Fountain is a large, three-level rococo fountain located in Grant Park in Chicago. The fountain features a light and water show that is enjoyed by visitors of all ages, and it also has an outstanding background for photography.
Visited in September, 2022. Buckingham Fountain is one of the most magnificent fountains I have ever experienced. It is very huge and beautiful. Visit Grant Park to see this fountain. This is a nice place to meditate or people watch. There is plenty of parking nearby. This is an excellent spot for taking pictures of the Chicago skyline and incorporating it into photos with the fountain.

I’m sure this is very pretty in the summertime, but since it’s off season, the fountain is off. The surrounding area is a huge wide open space, and it makes it very nice to see the skyscrapers and sky line. Even better for the lights at night.

Beautiful fountain in the middle of Grant Park Chicago. No entrance fee! Easy walk from Michigan Ave, We walked to the fountain from the Art institute within 10 minutes. You can also hop on a rental bike or there are many bikers that have carriage rides available for you along the waterfront and fountain areas you can hop on and get a ride if needed. It has a beautiful view of the lakefront on one side and the city buildings as a back drop on the other sides. The fountain is one of the largest fountains in the world donated by Kate Buckingham. The fountain has a beautiful night light show that has 820 lights that are meant to convey soft moonlight. It has three pumps pushing over 14,000 gallons of water per minute through 134 jets. It's a definite must do when in Chicago!

One of the largest fountains in the world (Built-in 1927 as a donation from the family), the feature boasts 133 jets that shoot water as high as 150 feet into the air during 20-minute choreographed displays (take place every hour between 8 AM and 11 PM). The last display of the evening starts at 10:35 PM. After dusk, the water show is accompanied by lights, a must-see if you are in the neighborhood in the evening.
The fountain is the central focal point of Grant Park, Chicago's expansive public space with many attractions and smaller parks like Millennium Park, comparable to Central Park.
Extra point for - the view from this place... one side, Chicago skyline, another side, the path to Michigan River.... so location wise- its top place.
and From Skydeck Chicago- you can understand how strategically this fountain is placed.

Absolutely Majestic Fountain , spent 1-2 hrs there looking at its beauty and how as night approaches, lights all lit up , it looks more stunning…. The Chicago Skyscrapers and beautiful skyline make it the most perfect backdrop….. loved it’s openness and huge gardens surrounding it ….and the beautiful Lake Michigan on the other side makes it’s even more beautiful

Pretty nice area, good views of the city skyline. The fountain was not on yet when we visited because of the low temperatures, the season was starting on May 11th so couldn’t see it on. The public restrooms in the area surprised us because they were pretty clean to be public.

“Love and Marriage, Love and Marriage, go together like a horse and carriage, this I tell ya brother, you can’t have one without the other…”
If you have ever watched the classic show Married with Children, then you have seen Buckingham Fountain. The iconic fountain in the opening credits is located in Chicago, IL and it is quite easily accessible via the park there.
Besides that, not much to say about it. It is a giant fountain in the middle of the park. I went during the day, so maybe they have some cool light shows at night? The area is nice and it was really cool to see an iconic landmark from a TV show in person. If you are in the area, you’ll be near Millennium Park, so check out Cloud Gate while you are in the area. (Edit: Buckingham Fountain is not in Millennium Park, like I previously thought. Whoops!)

Majestic fountain with the majestic Chicago skyline in its backdrop. The best part is it's totally free. This is one of the largest fountains in the world. Can easily spend an hour here taking a leisurely stroll and observing the fountain from all the directions. This should be the starting point of your visit to Chicago.

Buckingham Fountain in Chicago is an iconic landmark that truly captivates visitors with its grandeur and beauty. I recently had the pleasure of visiting this magnificent fountain, and it was an experience I will cherish for a long time.
As you approach the fountain, its sheer size and intricate design immediately command attention. The majestic centerpiece, surrounded by four beautiful sea-horse sculptures, stands as a testament to the city's rich history and dedication to creating stunning public spaces.
The fountain's water display is a sight to behold, especially during its hourly water shows. The cascading water jets, reaching heights of up to 150 feet, are set to the backdrop of the stunning Chicago skyline. The combination of water, light, and music during the evening displays creates a magical atmosphere that leaves visitors in awe.
The surrounding Grant Park provides a perfect setting for leisurely strolls and picnics, offering ample green spaces and beautiful gardens. The fountain serves as a focal point within the park, making it a popular spot for both locals and tourists to gather and enjoy the vibrant energy of the city.
What impressed me the most was the attention to detail and the careful preservation of Buckingham Fountain's historical significance. The recent restoration efforts have ensured that this architectural masterpiece remains in pristine condition for generations to come. The dedication to maintaining the fountain's beauty and historical value is evident in every aspect of its upkeep.
During my visit, I noticed that the fountain attracts a diverse crowd, from families with children running gleefully through the water to couples taking romantic strolls by the fountain's edge. The sight of people from different walks of life coming together to appreciate this iconic landmark adds a sense of community and connectedness.
The Buckingham Fountain is not just a beautiful sight but also a symbol of the city's spirit and resilience. It has stood the test of time, enduring decades of changing seasons and weather, yet it continues to be a symbol of Chicago's vibrant culture and enduring charm.
If you're planning a trip to Chicago, Buckingham Fountain is an absolute must-visit destination. Whether you're interested in history, architecture, or simply looking for a peaceful spot to enjoy the city's beauty, this iconic landmark will leave a lasting impression on your heart and mind. Don't forget to catch the hourly water shows, as they are truly a spectacle that shouldn't be missed. Buckingham Fountain is undoubtedly one of the city's most treasured gems, and it will undoubtedly make your visit to Chicago a memorable one.

What can I say? Besides its beautiful, classic, & an icon for the City of Chicago ⛲️🌃 I've driven past here a hundred times on Lake Shore Drive, & have always marveled at the beauty of the fountain, but none of that prepared me for the upclose experience. The Buckingham Fountain ⛲️ is something you want to experience in your lifetime. I felt as if I was transported to a past time.. the sheer beauty of it in the daytime is only magnified 10x by the view of it at night. With the iconic Chicago skyline as its backdrop, this truly is a sight that NEEDS to be seen in person. It was absolutely breathtaking.✨️ It's located in Grant Park, which also has a beautiful rose garden🌹 and other photo worthy attractions. It's a must-see, in person, for both visitors and locals like myself. When you live so close to a big city, you tend to take the magnitude of it for granted. You really do have to stop, smell the roses 🌹, & appreciate what an absolute treasure you have 30 minutes away from home ⛲️🌃🤍

This iconic fountain is such a much visit while in Chicago. The location is prime, right in Grant Park and very close to the Millennium Park and west of the shores of the Lake Michigan.
The fountain itself is majestic, one of the largest fountains in the World. It has four sets of Seahorses representing each of the four states of Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin and Indiana that border Lake Michigan. Just a 360 walk around the fountain can be entertaining as you can catch various angles of the fountain against the different backdrop of the city and the skyline and the Lake, just magnificent!
The water shoots up the fountains so high that on a windy day you could have a nice light shower standing even a good 50 feet away or farther from the edge, depending on the direction of the wind.
There are Some food carts around the fountain and nearby and there are facilities by it. You can spend a good hour if not longer at this location just admiring the fountain and the surroundings.

Buckingham Fountain, an iconic landmark nestled in Grant Park, is a mesmerizing testament to Chicago's grandeur and beauty. Standing as one of the largest fountains in the world, it exudes a timeless elegance and captivates visitors with its grandeur.
The fountain's exquisite design features intricately carved seahorses, mythical sea creatures, and cascading tiers that create a symphony of water and light. Its central jet shoots water up to 150 feet in the air, while the surrounding basins showcase graceful water patterns that dance in harmony with the surrounding landscape.
Buckingham Fountain serves as a focal point for gatherings and celebrations in the city. Its dynamic water displays, set to the backdrop of Chicago's iconic skyline, create a spectacle that delights visitors of all ages. The fountain's water shows, accompanied by music and vibrant lights, are particularly enchanting during the summer evenings.

Dedicated in 1927, it was a gift to the city from philanthropist Kate Sturges Buckingham as a tribute to her late brother. Today, it stands as a symbol of civic pride and a beloved attraction for both locals and tourists.

A TOP tourist attraction in the city.
I highly recommend going at night to see the light & music show plus all the little carts that are lit up with fun colors, driving around the fountain.
With the city lights in the background, over all it’s a great place to walk around or just sit and watch.
Lots of great sitting options. There also is several snack carts set up as well as food trucks.
Bathrooms available too.
As my 1st experience, it was wonderful.

Gateway to Chicago if you come here you must stop here first day long enough to see all the fountain shoot. They shoot even higher every so often. So stay long enough. Make sure you walk around inside to see every aspect of not just the fountain but the background. The skyline the harbor all the above and just enjoy your time

Apparently, it is the largest fountain in the USA. Every hour, the centre spout shoots water more than 30m (100ft) high. Quite worth a look.
Navy Pier is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Chicago with rides, restaurants, shops, and more. The pier juts into Lake Michigan and has an endless amount of attractions for all ages. It's a great place to spend a day with family.

Very nice and chill pier to take a walk or chill around. And there's a very warm court with a lot of options of foods. The restroom is also very clean, the other side is for cars parking and drop-off so I would recommend to walk around. Just go straight and come back straight would be a nicer solution.

Great place to enjoy and admire the skyline of Chicago. Navy Pier has many attractions, but the main one is the wheel which lets you observe the city from a high altitude and without any crowds. The stores inside are really good. There are plenty of restaurants of different kinds and different stores. Walking outside makes you feel why Chicago is called the Windy City.

We rode some rides and went through the fun house. Tip: one of the mirrors is a door in the mirror maze. It took us forever to get out. Lol We wanted to take a boat cruise but we want to wait for some of the smoke from Canada to go away so we can see the beautiful skyline better. When my girls were small we went to the children's museum and that was really fun. Navy Pier is a must see when visiting Chicago.

Fun spot but touristy. You get a good view of the city, especially on the Ferris wheel but it's pricey. There is often live music and always something to do. A good way to spend an afternoon with the family, I think you should go at least once but it's not really how you get to know the city. Definitely gets crowded at peak hours.

Live music venue hosting big-name acts in a setting with pavilion & lawn seating for 12,000 people.
Came to see The KISS farewell tour. The staff was so helpful and very well organized. Even with the amount of people that was there, they handled the crowds well. The drinks were a bit pricey but well worth it if you get a mixed drink which was called a "double." The restrooms were always clean and fully stocked, the staff was always very polite. So we were seating in the designated seating part of the concert, they made everyone show them their tickets and this happened at every entrance due to people trying to sneak in to our section. So they handled the seating very well. No one ever took our spots because the staff was always making sure no strays came by. Totally loved my experience here. Kudos to all the staff and specially to KISS for a memorable experience!!

This is an extremely awesome venue! We went to see Back Street Boys but this space is amazing! The stage and its displays were awesome and very dynamic and helped the shows overall feel through and through. The audio was great, the seating was pretty comfortable and there were so many vendors for drinks, snacks, food and suvioneers. While there is a ton of seating in the sheltered area, there was also a tremendous amount of room in the lawn that also had concessions and restrooms.

Getting to the location was simple. The parking coming in and leaving was awful. The people there directing traffic were just standing around and didn't really do anything. The main exception was the people parking the cars.
In the amphitheater, security was fairly quick, but again, no real direction about lines until about 5 minutes before the gates opened
The food and bev staff were nice and moved quickly to help everyone.
The seats were worth the extra few dollars. Heather did an incredible job helping our box and making sure we had what we needed.

This is a fantastic venue!! I grew up attending concerts at Pine Knob in Detroit. This venue is similar in layout but much better! The grass is very well maintained. The walking path between the lawn and pavilion is divided by a barracde so the lawn crowd doesn't spill over to the walking path. Plenty of restrooms and concessions. And the ability to rent a lawn chair is great!! Plus I found the suites a rather awesome addition. I'll certainly have to rent one some day.

I saw the Let The Bad Times Roll tour featuring The Offspring with Sum 41 and Simple Plan. the show was great but this venue is even better. The venue is really well designed I think in terms of utilizing their space. Parking is spread out well & I don’t think there’s a real need for the premium parking option. There are entrances from both sides. The concessions are nice and there’s plenty to choose from. Everything is pricier nowadays so I’ve accepted that fact but the tipping concept is bit annoying. Getting lawn seats is a great way to go & you’re allowed to bring in your chairs vs renting one which is an option for $10. When the weather agrees, it’s just a great venue to hang back, lay in the grass if ya want to, and listen to some live music.

Awesome!!! First time here and everything went smooth. Came here for the Luke Bryan, Dylan Scott and Runaway June concert. It was PACKED which was to be expected but there were no issues. The entry process was quick locating seats could’ve been a little better. Once it got dark it was harder to see…especially after knocking back a few of those vodka lemonades EXTRA VODKA lol. The bathrooms were fairly clean and they did have custodian standing by to periodically clean. They have a variety of food and snacks, I got a slice of cheese pizza from connies it was good just not real hot. We parked in premium parking for $40 it was closes to the venue so we didn’t mind. Leaving was a bit of a delay since everyone was leaving at once. Overall my experience was exceptional and I’ll definitely be back for another show!

Awesome outdoor venue to see a wide variety of shows. Pretty standard screening process with metal detector, etc. Backpacks and bags aren’t allowed in but the size of small bags is advertised as smaller than the size of a hand, but is enforced very unevenly. My wife was told she couldn’t bring her cross body small bag in, but the people in front of us had a small backpack purse that was bigger. Anything bigger than that has to be see through. They do allow snacks in clear bags and sealed water bottles/empty reusable bottles in though!
Sit on the lawn, there is tons of room and that’s where the fun is at!

Arrive a couple of hours early so you are not waiting super long to get in. Went to see Janet and a lot of people didn't make it because of parking/traffic issues. Arrive sooner to avoid this! I drove 30 mins away, and was sure to leave early because I knew it would be overly crowded. Save your money and park in the general parking as it isn't far of a walk from the arena. I saw no difference in distance. Wait was worth every penny. Leaving was a nightmare, but, I think that's to be expected at any major headliner event.

I just made my 3rd trip to Tinley Park and the Credit Union 1 Amphitheater (formerly the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater), and each time I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with 1) How easy it was to find, and 2) How quickly they get you parked. I always purchase the Premier parking, just the first level of their special parking rates. It gets you to the lots closer to the amphitheater and makes it a very short walk into the amphitheater grounds (never more than about one or two city blocks for me). The last time I went I had a handicapped tag, and was only a few hundred feet from the entrance, even though there were hundreds of other handicapped vehicles. They are very well staffed, and getting in to the venue was very quick, even though I arrived at a peak time. The security checkpoint took very little time, as I read the guidelines ahead of time. Once inside, it is a short walk to the amphitheater itself, and again everything is clearly marked as to which section you need to go to. There was also ample staff to assist. My only problem (and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) was the extremely slow food service. I couldn’t see what was taking up so much time, there seemed to be food made ahead and all the registers were staffed. Our cashier said they were learning a new POS system, so that may have been the problem. On a side note: One person in our party was diabetic and having a low insulin reaction, causing her to be nauseated. We wanted a cup that wasn’t clear for her to bring into the concert, in case she needed to vomit and couldn’t get out in time. They would not give us the cup for a nominal fee and instead charged us $5 for the empty cup. Very not cool. As for the concert, it is a great venue for seeing the stage and hearing well from any seat, and easy to get in and out quickly. There is a bar inside, so you don’t need to leave the amphitheater to get a drink, but we did for the restrooms. We had a small issue with a drunk patron harassing us a little, and security handled it quickly, quietly, and effectively. Getting out after the show was very quick, only a slight wait for traffic in the lot, and then plenty of police keeping traffic moving. Very pleased overall!

Went to see Janet Jackson!!!! Ms. Jackson, if you nasty lolz. I was not missing it. THE TRAFFIC WAS HOR-RI-BLE!!! People, including myself, were literally stuck on the expressway for hours. I was stuck for about 2.5 hrs and had to literally maneuver my way through to make it just in time to see Janet. I missed Ludacris. Some never even made it off the expressway. The traffic and parking controls were very, very unorganized. I really hope don't any more of my favs perform there. Once I got in, it was fine. I had tickets to a private box, so I was cool. I give you one star. Your gift giving is cheap. You don't have enough winners. The food in the steak room isn't good nor the decor. It use to be a fun place but it's not anymore. Time for a change.

First visit. Big casino and Nicely laid out is specific gaming areas. Table poker over there, craps over here, etc. It does permit smoking and you'll know at the front entrance. 1 point off for that

Fun place to get out the house play slots win jack pot. Nice atmosphere all but the smoke not a smoker i like fresh air. Smoke not good for lung cancer. Fresh air good if they had smoker room for the crack heads.

Although I don't gamble, I enjoy attending various shows. The sound system is amazing, and seats are comfortable with good views of the stage. I also like the wonderful restaurants from the Cafe, steakhouse and delicious deserts. Staff are always welcoming, attentive, and very pleasant to interact with.

I loved it there yesterday,it was fun. The machines are my money 💰 thou,😁😁😁😝. I had a glass of margarita and left. But I would recommend a smoke free partition cus everyone don't smoke but want to partake in other casino activities.

Other than dry cleaning my pockets, I had fun here. Would have been nice if the slot machines weren't incredibly tight like a duck's butt in water lol. Clean well laid out and very organized. Unfortunately the buffet closed awhile back, but there are a few options on the main level. Too much room dedicated to the sports book lounge that could have had slot machines in them. This limited some gaming options.

Since I didn't win any $ on the slots, it was just ok. The staff was helpful and friendly and the parking was well lit and abundant. My bf went thru $290 and I went thru $80 in about an hour.

Friendly staff, Drinks come pretty quick when you push the button at a machine. Dealers are nice and helpful if you've never played a game before. There is a large verity of machines. They also have a buffet with a really good selection of different kinds of food. I look forward to coming back and playing there again. Just next time let me win some money and not break even.

We were here for a concert and security had no idea what they were doing, three separate lines to tell you to go to a different line. Most attendees missed the opening band (Lorna Shore). Drinks are reasonable, but the slots are garbage. Go to the Hard Rock instead if you're in the area

Went to the Jeff Dunham Show and the Theater was AMAZING! Casino was awesome and loved the smoking section. Gaming and smoking a cigarette is a great experience. Lines for the food was a bit rough though seemed like they need a little help with organization. Overall neat and good experience

There really isn’t a reason to play here. Drink prices are much more than other casinos in the metro. Most food options are not open and Caesar’s properties will soon sell this location so your points will not carry over.

Horseshoe is my favorite casino! I’m not much of a gambler, but once in a while I like to come here. The drinks from the bar are wonderful! My favorite is the margarita from the bar in the back. They also have a good selection of food and their pizza is great!

As much money as I have spent this year at the Horseshoe they ought to let me win a few jackpots, lol. Other than that I love the Horseshoe. The staff is nice. They have new slot machines. They just need different food. It gets very boring eating the same thing over again. I love to eat a good meal on Sundays if I'm at the horseshoe. The buffet needs to reopen and they just need to have the food covered this time. They had the best buffet to me. There was this one particular slot attendant tho who was very rude to a guest. I was standing right there. The slot attendant didn't have a smile on her face or anything and that made me uncomfortable and she wasn't even there to help me. She was there to help the other guest.

I'm a seven star member and the horse doesn't make you feel like one. It is impossible to get ahold of the reward desk. Every time I call , no one picks up or they hang up on me. At this point I weather send my money at the HardRock casino. There's a pretty good chance I will not return back to horseshoe.

My recent visit to Horseshoe Hammond Casino was focused on the venue's entertainment aspect, rather than its gaming offerings. The performance venue struck a unique balance between size and intimacy, capable of hosting well-known performers while maintaining an intimate atmosphere that amplified the live show experience.
One point to note for future visitors is the venue's valet parking policy. We were surprised to find a $50 CASH ONLY valet fee. Thankfully, we noticed this ahead of time. It's a detail that those planning a trip here might want to keep in mind, particularly if they're attending a popular event.
Inside, the venue featured two bars in the lobby, providing easy access to refreshments before the show or during intermissions. Although a couple of bars inside the concert hall were closed during my visit, the availability of beverages was not an issue. The seats were comfortable, equipped with cupholders for convenience—an appreciated detail that added to the overall enjoyment of the show.
I didn't need to use the restrooms during my visit, so I can't comment on their availability or cleanliness. However, given the overall well-maintained state of the venue, I would assume these facilities follow suit.
In conclusion, the Horseshoe Hammond Casino is more than just a gaming experience. Its entertainment venue, with its substantial size yet intimate feel, is a noteworthy destination for live performances. Whether you're a fan of big-name artists or local talents, this venue, with its comfortable setting and distinct attention to detail, provides an enjoyable setting for an evening of entertainment. Just remember your cash if you plan to use the valet service!

Took in a live show at the casino. The box seats were great and the staff was very well organized. Overall it felt like a great place to see a live performance, especially if you can get seats on the upper level.

This isn't like the location I've visited in Maryland. The customer service was excellent. However, It's dark and not welcoming. The machines are old, and I'm praying my bank debit card is okay because their ATM machines were malfunctioning, multiple ones. I was so excited to visit this casino based on my visit to the other. It was quite disappointing. My party left and we went to Hard Rock Casino. We didn't win big, but it's brighter, it has newer machines, and the energy is far more exciting.

Decadent enough casino. No different that all the others. Sometimes you win. Most times you lose. The cigarette some is terrible. None of the popular games are in the smoke free area. Indiana needs to go smoke free. I don't understand why cashing out at a kiosk they force you to donate your change.Other casinos give you the option. Like they don't rip you off enough now they won't give you your change. Please change that.

I don't go often, but I do like going on a Saturday between 2pm-4pm. It's not as busy, an older crowd (my people). I went in with a winning ticket that I didn't cash from 12/30/23. I inserted it into the slots. The machine rejected it, but it got stuck when coming out. I had to call for service. The young lady retrieved it, looked at it, and told me to cash it in at the cage. Took it to the cage, Brandi (short blond hair) looked at it and told me, "This is no good, you only have 90 days to use." I told her to look at the 12/30 date at the bottom and that it was still good. She got quiet, keyed in some information, and replied, "barely." She then gave me my money. I thought to myself, don't let the grey hair fool you, I work with dates and numbers all day every day. I pay attention to that. I thought to myself, is this her scam? Does she tell Seniors their tickets are no good and keep them for herself? I didn't get a good vibe from her. Well, that's just me.

We go here often since majestic closed. Used to love going here just for the buffet but that’s closed. Honestly the food is below average and horrible quality for the price. Tried the pizza it was cold. Tried the hot dogs they were cold. So play and eat before you get here it’s a waste of money

The casino was average, I enjoyed myself especially the self serve beverage stations.I did see a lot of people having trouble with and complaining about the ATM and change machines not working, that's why I bring my own change. I'm sure people have other complaints if inconvience cleanlines and not getting comp's but I've been to much worse places.

This has always been my favorite place to just go by myself and have some me time. This place has gotten to be awful. You push for slot service and it takes forever and their excuse is always we're short staffed. I played on yesterday, I won't say how much(but oh boy), I left with nothing. Don't get me wrong I know it's a gambling place(chance you take) but those machines have gotten awful. I played one of the machines where you get all the spins, the most I got was 120 spins. I was on this machine from 12:30 to 6pm. You can't tell me that makes any sense. I don't want to hear you should have moved around. That was my fourth machine. This casino has gotten terrible with their jackpots. Even the crowd isn't the same anymore. People are always complaining about the machines. That's not good. I think my name is somewhere in their site to not let me win. I have never won over $1000 here, and I can count on one hand for that. I think I need to listen to other people and go somewhere else. You're not going to tell me that I'm wrong that these machines are not fixed in the casino favor a lot more than they use to be. 5 1/2 hours and only the highest number of spins were 120 and then it only paid me $56. Do better Horseshoe! You are losing people, and you can't tell me you're not. Awful...Well, you guys responded with the same response that you given everybody. So, sad that's how you feel about your patrons(visitors/customers). Just give everyone a general response. Thanks

When I got there a large portion of the slot machines were roped off. Not sure why. It's not always like this. And other day I would give it a five.

I've been coming here for a few years with friends and family. We always have a great time. Only bring the cash you're willing to lose. The food and drinks are a bit pricey. The atmosphere is great! The people and the staff are friendly. The establishment is nice and clean. Sucks when the machine acts up and you need service it's like a 15 + min wait, but it's understandable they have lots of machines! I love playing roulette! Will continue to come back and recommend it. I definetly recommend checking out Four Winds too it's in Michigan City!

We were at this venue for a concert. There were three lines to get in... the first one to check ID moved mind bogglingly slowly. Second was checking tickets, and third was to get into the concert hall. The 45+ minute delay was such a bummer because we ended up missing most of the opening band, one of the main reasons we were there. After the concert, they weren't letting people walk around to use the elevators to access the parking. Fortunately, someone who worked there relented when we explained that my friend had a broken foot. The parking garage was such a mess, too.. it took about an hour in our car to leave the garage. Honestly, it's one of my least favorite venues to date.
Craft brewery established in 1996 featuring artisan beers, plus an on-site store.
I have only received 3 Floyd's through beer trades and I have always wanted to make the pilgrimage to the brewery. Unfortunately I had a very small window of when I would be in the area and it didn't fall within their normal hours. I called the day before placing my online order and they seriously helped me out. Their accommodation was world class. Amazing product, even more awesome team behind the brand!

It was once my favorite beer company, mostly because of the tap room/bar. The food was so good. I used to make regular trips here. Since they got rid of the food, i have no reason to go. When i go to a store to buy beer.. there's too many other great options. I know this is a semi local perspective

Really enjoy the beer, was excited to go to the facility. When we got there, a lot of it was closed off the person working there told us that the tastings and everything has been shut down for about 4 years, and they are wanting to bring it back. Not really a big font for much.

3 Floyds desperately needs to modify their location description to make it clear that the taproom is NOT OPEN. Myself and some friends biked from Chicago only to find out that it was all for nothing. The trip itself was still fun, and the staff were nice, but it needs to be obvious when someone looks at this listing that they won't be rewarded with a chance to try the beers and food on site. Very disappointing

Possibly the best brewery in Indiana. Some of the best stouts I've ever had. Incredible selection and variety. Place plays metal music non-stop, which is fantastic. My only real nitpick is that it's not located closer to .y home. Be sure to check out Dark Lord Day, hard to beat.

Fun to finally get to visit this place. I with they had a tap room or served beer on site. They had a nice gift shop and you could buy carry out. The beer is great, but a bit over-priced relative to the great beer available at other great breweries. You pay for the reputation, but it's a nice splurge once in a while.

Great place if you enjoy obnoxiously loud music, poor service and very rude staff. Beer is mediocre and over priced. At least they dumped most of the staff during COVID because it was sooo dangerous🤣. It’s surprising they reopened at all since COVID is so dangerous (according to the owner who makes beer AND is a virologist)and killing everyone….how can they put the workers at risk🤣. However, if I was in government, 3 Floyd’s would get a GOLD STAR for obedience and spreading fear.

Did a new beer ‘release’ at a local restaurant scheduled for 7-9pm, 3 Floyds brought 48 pint glasses and a pony keg for a 2 hour event. Beer was gone in minutes, which our entire party did not get to try despite getting there at 7pm. Restaurant owner says 3 Floyds ‘always’ conducts releases with such a small amount of product. So 40 people get to try a new beer then it disappears? What’s the point? We won’t be buying 3 Floyds ever again. There are too many options for breweries who gladly would want us to try their new offerings. 3 Floyds is big on hype and low on delivery.

Who doesn't love a vinyl record blasting behind the bar with some amazing food and beer? Great atmosphere, but a little pricey. Food is a little eclectic when all you want is something basic. I knocked a star off because they didn't offer a true flight. And with a selection of amazing beers I can't get in NJ I wanted to try many!

3 Floyds has some fantastic beers/drinks and excellent food, some of which are unlike anything I've ever had. Their bourbon barrel aged Moloko is absolutely phenomenal, and their Daytona Stinger mojito sour is... intense (very good, just... intense!). The food is delicious as well, when the restaurant is open, which it is not currently due to covid. We tried the pizza and cheese curds, both with the amazing pickled veggies on them!

A fantastic experience. It's always clean, organized and well staffed. This is a great place to get something for a holiday or small gift as much as just a sweet treat. Great place to bring kids. It was a sad day. The candy was great and there was a lot of it however years ago you used to be able to come here and do a self tour to see how the candy was made. It was great for the kids. They should bring that back. Now it's more of a tourist destination just packed with a bunch of candy and moving people as fast as possible. Good business for them. But they lost a little bit of what made it special.

This is a little slice of candy and chocolate paradise. It is totally worth the detour if your are traveling between Chicago, Indianapolis, and/or Detroit. There was ample parking and every single thing there tastes great, although I am partial to the chocolate-covered nuts. In particular, the pecans covered with dark chocolate infused with Grand Marnier liqueur are just mind blowing. My companions, on the other hand, swear that the gummy bears are simply the best. Prices are very, very reasonable considering the quality. The only warning is to try to go slow once you have about one pound of chocolate with you...

We were here during summer and the line to enter the parking was huge. It took a while for us to get a spot in the Parking area. However, it was worth the wait. Although it's on the shores of lake Michigan, the beach gave us a feeling as if we were on some Ocean beach. Midwest's very own coast, I'd say :) Plus, the water here is fresh water. We took the 3 dune challenge followed by spending time catching a spectacular sunset with Chicago's skyline at the backdrop. Recommended to visit on a weekday when there is less rush.

We did the 3 Dunes Challenge on a cool, rainy morning. It was just a mist rain, but it kept us cool! The paths are well defined and in certain places, steep. The sand is soft, so when you take a step forward, you slide back a little because it's so soft. It is challenging but definitely doable! We are not the most fit people. We walk a lot, but being from Florida, we do not have a lot of hills or sand (except on the beaches!). It took us about 2 hours.

Went to watch the Solar Eclipse on the beach! The park is beautiful. It is huge! Plenty of hiking trails! The beach is huge and gorgeous. There were staff members walking around cleaning up the beach while we were there! The building is beautiful and well kept they have a little food shop in it but was not quite open for the season. The nature center was very nice, also clean. Has regular bathrooms in it. They do have several events going in and that is posted in various spots throughout the park. They were having an Eclipse event with friends if the Indiana Dunes selling “solar” related snacks and drinks! See pictures for details…so cute! Smokey the bear was walking around for picture opportunities. There is a regular bathroom on the beach as well, it is clean and well maintained but it is a single use stall.
Prices vary to get in for the day…to walk or bike in it was $2 per person
Per car was $12
And there were camping prices, bus prices and can prices too. Website is very helpful!
We will definitely be going there again!

Very large park on Lake Michigan. The line to get into the park was extremely long but the beach area and lake itself was just beautiful and refreshing. Only one toilet available at the beach and the line for it was massive as well. You can’t drive much around this park either like the others but it has lots of trails for hiking. It’s a good spot to go if you live nearby and don’t want to drive 16+ hours to the ocean.

Absolutely beautiful park with many trails through the forest and over the dunes.
Beautiful nature center with clean bathrooms and a water bottle filling station.
We came in July and were glad we carried bug spray. The wooded trails had lots of biting flies and mosquitoes but the spray worked great.
Park by the nature center to hike the three dunes challenge. Entrance into state park is $12 for out of state cars.
Best to hike with sandals. Parts of the trail are deep sand and steep incline. There are plenty of places to stop and catch you breath. Beautiful and peaceful location.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Indiana Dunes State Park in the beginning of July 2023.
July was the perfect time to visit as it's not too hot up north in July. We started on the 3-Dunes Challenge, where we ascended three dunes with quite the incline. Even in sand, it was not very difficult. I had never been on a trail like that- sand made up the trail, but the area was wooded like any trail I've been on in the Midwest. At the bottom of Mt. Holden (I think) is a private-ish lakeshore of Lake Michigan. This view is breathtaking- clear waters, a rocky shoreline that smooths out into soft, nearly white sand, and chilled water. Swimming is not permitted in this location because there is no lifeguard, but a short walk from there is the main beach where swimming is permitted. Coming from Southern Illinois, this cool freshwater retreat in 80-degree weather was quite refreshing.
The national and state park lines were a little difficult to distinguish, we spent time in both.
The visitor centers deeper into the park were awesome! Very informative, interesting samples of native wildlife, clean bathrooms, and complete with hiking challenges with rewards.

Gorgeous park! The dunes are definitely the prize of the park, and the views are absolutely breathtaking! There are nice, fairly well maintained trails all over the park that lead to the 3 peaks, as well as the beach, and around the campgrounds. The trail markers are very helpful. I'm a beginner hiker, but I was able to do the #3DuneChallenge in the limited time I had there! I definitely recommend hiking the trails here! The views are definitely worth the toil!

The Dunes, as we affectionately call them, really proved themselves today. If you haven’t visited in the winter, you must. Lake Michigan and the sand dunes are majestic in the wintertime. The bonus of no gate admission was a welcome treat. Although the building near the beach is under construction, the public restroom was available. The new landscaping and building improvements are incredible. It’s hard to believe that it’s the same place!

This may be my favorite state park ever...and I've been to a LOT of state parks. It is clean, beautiful, well-maintained and set up very nicely. The beach and dunes are stunning, the plants and scenery are breathtaking and the staff is very friendly and helpful. One comment...I am disabled, and the restrooms and showers here are the most handicap- friendly I've ever used. The campsites are level and far enough apart to be comfortable. They only have electric hookups, but there are water-fill stations and dump stations as well. Very pet-friendly also! We stayed here in a Class C motorhome and will definitely come back again! So many things to see and do!

Went to this World Highest Sand Dunes this long weekend. Loved the trails. Indiana Dunes is a delightful destination that beautifully combines natural splendor and recreational opportunities. Located on the southern shores of Lake Michigan, this national park offers a diverse landscape with sandy beaches, towering sand dunes, forests, and wetlands. The beaches are pristine and perfect for relaxation, while the sand dunes provide stunning panoramic views. Hiking trails and biking routes allow for exploration, and the park's commitment to preservation is evident. Whether you're looking for a peaceful escape or outdoor adventures, Indiana Dunes delivers a memorable experience.

The lake area is beautiful and the beach was amazing. The rating is based on the access to the beach was congested, no one was directing traffic and once we were at the gate, there was no discount for elders, disabled or Native Americans. Also the public restroom was not maintained or kept stocked with toilet paper. Also the water had tested positive for ecoli.

We were completely surprised how nice this park is and ended up loving it! The beach is nice sand and well maintained. The hiking trails are well designated and marked. The nature center was full of interesting information regarding the local ecosystem.
Parking at the beach can fill up quick on the weekends, best to go early.
Camping books up quick, but you can keep checking online for cancellations.
We can't wait to come back!

Well worth the $12 admission fee, this state park had it all! We started on the beach, traversed through a forest, and ended in a gorgeous marsh. Would have been even better if the restaurant was open. Also note that there is only one bathroom open in the winter so plan accordingly.

My husband and I stayed in a 26ft Class C RV at the campground. The site itself was nice. The lot was paved and level. The site contained a fire ring and park bench. The campground amenities were nothing special. The bathrooms were in rough shape. The maps provided were pretty unhelpful, especially for hiking trails. The campground, as well as the state park, is seriously lacking in directional signs. We tried to take loop 4 to 8 and had to turn around numerous times. There was little to no signage and the trails listed on the provided maps, as well as apps like All Trails, were not accurate or up-to-date. We’re not sure if perhaps the trail availability changes with preservation/maintenance schedules? Regardless, the dunes themselves are awesome. The sand is beautiful and the views are incredible. It was also super remote/not very populated in October when we visited.

Another great hike in the Dunes, I come often. This day (2/26/24), I got a wonderful veiw of the migrating sandhill cranes flying over head from the top of the Beach House Blowout.

Sand and water, what more do you need? Oh yeah, bathrooms!! We stopped to stretch our legs and play for a minute on our road trip, I would definitely go back. It looked like a great place to camp.
360-acre oak preserve offering formal gardens, trails through diverse landscapes & events. Dogs OK.
We did a wreath making here put on by Purdue. It was so fun! The little train area in the back is really cute during the warmer months too.

A very Beautiful place to visit. It makes you feel like a Kid again with All the skillful designed Trains and the History that goes with it! It also has very nice trails to walk for hiking or just to be out in nature and you can also bring your horse they have horse trails! If you have kids bring them it's is worth the price to get in.💜

What a beautiful hidden spot! I never knew it existed until today. It worked perfectly for our small and simple wedding. The pavilion was beautiful and guarded us from the rain that blew in. They even had a covered golf cart that took us back and forth from the parking lot and the pavilion.

This is a very nice experience that is just right for an afternoon of entertainment, especially when you are out of ideas for your visiting guests. What a wonderful place to visit! I found this place through the reciprocal admissions member benefit from another arboretum. My family enjoyed everything we saw there. The facilities were well maintained and the botanicals were well marked. The Railway Garden was an impressive and impeccably landscaped historical journey through history. This place is a treasure!

A beautiful and well-maintained nature preserve. The big wetland made me happy. I also appreciated the informative signs scattered throughout as well. From hiking to weekend music performances, this place is a hidden gem with something for everyone. I feel the membership is well-worth the cost + it helps fund upkeep. Keep up the great work and save our wetlands!!!!

The Arboretum is a wonderful place for walking the many trails, including a trail for horseback riding.
There are sponsored events throughout the year for adults and children. I enjoy the concert series in summer.
The train exhibit is a wonderful experience during the summer months.
The Arboretum is great for our outdoor weddings.

This is a beautiful park! It does cost to get in and it IS per person which I think really stinks and needs to change to PAY PER CAR because it can get really pricey just for a park... my husband and I took our kids and they enjoyed it.
*note: the train display is outside, avoid going on a hot day because it can become dreadful **

We are frequent visitors of Taltree. My family visits at least twice a year and we have been going for the past ten years. Taltree is a beautiful place to visit nearly year round. Whether hiking the trails in the summer, seeing the new blooms in the spring, or attending a wedding in the fall, it is one of the most beautiful places to visit in our area. My kids enjoy the train garden and hiking to the ponds. It is also our favorite place to take our family pictures. We're also pleased that the arboretum has been hosting more and more fun events over the past few years. Take advantage of this hidden gem in Valpo.

The mall is huge and it might take you more than a day if you are planning to visit each and every shop. I went there twice during my two week trip and found the place very reasonable for purchasing clothing, jackets and shoes. It has great deals and you will definitely find something worth buying from here. It's hardly a 40-45 minutes drive from Stevensville. Loved the pace and bought good enough stuff from this place which made it worth the visit. I would recommend visiting this place as it's much closer than Tanger mall outlet (grand rapids) with a good enough variety of clothing available for purchase.

Not the best outlets I’ve been to, but they have a decent selection of stores available. The buildings themselves however look quite worn down and dated. Definitely not on par with other Simon Premium Outlets I’ve been to.

The top place to shop in the area. Surrounding cities do not have shopping like the Premium outlets. It's wonderful to have shops here like this in Michigan City. The only problem is it is cold most of the time and you will be walking outside between shops. Bring your walking shoes because this place is large and filled with stores. The stores are very reasonably priced and you will always end up buying something.

Lots of brand-name clothing and shoe stores. Most pricing does not beat online outlet shopping. It's still nice to walk around on a good weather day to get some fresh air.
*There are not many food options, so be sure to map out other restaurants if you want a decent place to eat after shopping.

Came here to get shoes for my wife and new back to school shoes for our kids. I just came a month earlier to get myself a new pair of shoes. My son got a pair of Adidas, and my daughter got a pair of Converse All-Stars. Cost $100 for the 2 pairs, which is a good deal for nice name brand shoes. My wife also picked out a pair of Converse All-Stars. They bought theirs at Famous Footwear. I bought a pair of Jordan's from the Nike outlet for $50. Again, a good price for quality name brand shoes even if they are the previous year or seasons design. Easy to navigate the mall because of the many maps located throughout that show where you are and where the store is that you want to fins. There are a lot of good deals to be found here in all sorts of things at many different stores. My daughter who is just starting high school picked out a few nice outfits from Hot Topic for a reasonable price as well.

If you are driving from east side of lake Michigan to Chicago IL, don't miss the opportunity to visit the small city called Michigan City IN. Driving towards the shore side, you will see the Lighthouse Place Premium Outlet. Scattered small shops of all brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike, Michael Kors and many more. Big free open parking. Location map is there, so you can easily find the brand you want. Take your time, look through the good quality brand products. Good prices. Enjoy your shopping. If you like some small food, in the middle of outlet Starbucks coffee is open. Just take something you want.
When you are finished, drive to the nearby Beach. Beautiful Sandy beach on the lake Michigan. Park there and have a fresh walk on the sand or paved side. Have Fun.

I enjoyed shopping here except for the Ralph Lauren store. They have people in there staring you down and watching you the whole time you are trying to shop. I understand that you need to have security in order to lower shop lifting but having someone with no smile or proper greeting as you are trying to decide what you want to purchase made that experience bad.

It's an outlet Mall. Deals? Sure. Most places have deals in the Windows and in the stores. Are the deals any better than online? Yes and no. Some are close. Very few are actually close to online deals. Puma actually had a 40% off sale going but online was up to 60% off. Good place to go to spend time with your significant other. It's clean. It's free to walk around. And as always you will find some things you can't find online. American Eagle had deals going that was not even posted. So we missed out on that deal. Overall it's ok. Looking to spend the day with that special person... Good choice.

I loved this place! Might need some renovations but still great and has plenty of stores to see! Some famous stores, and some unique, like the sleeping tiger, and some coffee and chocolate stores, and candy stores. You'll get plenty of exercise! You might need 2-3 hours to see it all. But that's only if you go to all of the stores

I got to go on a business trip to Michigan City and had the opportunity to stay at the Blue Chip Casino Hotel Spa! Let me get into it!
From the moment I was at the front desk to check in felt very welcomed by the staff. Let me say this, the room I was in had the most comfortable bed I have ever been able to sleep in. From the moment I opened the door to the room it was an experience I cannot express in words. I just felt so at peace, safe, and comfortable. And how clean the room was and the overall smell of the room, personally I felt it was very clean. If I ever go back to Michigan City the Blue Chip Casino Hotel Spa is the only place I will want to stay at! And a side not the restaurant in the casino is really good too!

This is gonna be a long one!
Broken glass and beer bottle caps all over our floor (see the pics). Dirty pillowcases and bedspread. Hair all over the bathroom. The curly kind.😫
Two bars in the whole casino. One was closed. The other had one barmaid. One barmaid for the whole casino!!! Then a bunch of closed off sections to move games. Half built displays and broken machines.
Had to walk past the casino lobby to get to the pool, in our suits. Awkward. Casino security loved it.
No food in the casino during the week. Only food option is a terrible deli outside the casino. Ended up leaving and going to Local Option Bar. Highlight of the vacation. They got 5 stars, btw.
It's like this casino and hotel are doing just the bare minimum to keep the place open. The place was empty. Probably still just blaming the pandemic.

My wife and I booked a stay here last weekend for our Anniversary. The pictures and reviews all made this sound like it was going to be a great experience. The weather last weekend was not the best, but it also was not the worst. I get it, it was cold and about 3 inches of snow had fallen Friday morning. When we got to the hotel we were informed that there would be no table games available Friday and that some of the restaurants were closed. We were ok with this since we both like slots and our dinner reservations at the steakhouse were not till Friday. As we checked in and made our way to our room we noticed a sign that stated the Spa was closed due to “Severe Weather” by the elevators and that the pool was not open as well. After walking into our room we immediately began to notice things that looked run down, torn and unclean. Now I know this may sound like we are complainers, but believe me we are the furthest thing from that. The carpet still had crumbs and trash on it from the previous guests. The chairs upholstery were torn and tattered. The bathroom….. the bathroom looked like it had been used by someone right before we walked in. If you flushed the toilet you had a ear piercing squeal that lasted about 30 seconds while it refilled….
The restaurants that were open were only Lakeside cafe and later that evening Salted Lime opened. There was no comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal except in your room. The temperature in the room was very stuffy and dry. Saturday morning we were informed that the Spa would not be open again due to weather and that the Steakhouse would not be opening again. We decided to cut our stay short and leave Saturday morning since the reasons we booked a stay there were not open. It was a very disappointing trip and staff was not accommodating to us what so ever. Needless to say we will not be coming back to this Casino after this disappointing experience. Future bookers be aware !

If you are thinking about having a wedding here... DON"T. Run far far away and go to whatever other places you were considering. Everything seemed perfectly fine when we initially put a down-payment and then once they have your money you don't mean anything to them. We had to hunt them down 3 months before the wedding for a food tasting, they made it difficult to take any payment for the event, and lied about all the service fee's. All that aside the real problem started when we made a change to our guest count 3 days before by 3 dinner plates. We offered to pay them and they replied "no you're good". They told us the room would be ready the night before for us to decorate and set up and when we got there it was being used by another event. So the day of our wedding (reception starting at 5pm and ceremony starting at 3pm) the room was not available until 12pm the DAY OF OUR WEDDING. This specific department in the 1 year that we have dealt with them has had over 100% turnover so you will only be dealing with new people and constantly being turned over during the course of planning the most important day of your life. They also came back 2 months later after an "audit" and said we owed them $500 more dollars after they had stated we were good and offered to pay. We have received threatening phone calls and emails about collecting payment and they even went through our stay there and threatened to charge the credit card on file we had for a hotel stay during the wedding. Honestly there are several other beautiful venues in the area that will make this experience so much better for you. But if you want to be gaslit every time you bring up an issue by being told "but wasn't your day so beautiful" and "you don't want to remember it like this" instead of addressing the issue, then maybe this is the perfect place for you!

First time in Indiana and I was pleasantly surprised when I heard that there was a casino in Michigan City. So, I stopped in to check it out. Very nice and convenient location. I felt safe going there both at night and during the day. Parking was plentiful and had option for garage parking, valet or out in the open. Chose open area for parking and walked a short distance to the entrance. Very Vegas like and I was impressed. It is bright, full of the newest slot machines and it wasn't crowded. Stopped by to get my membership for the Player's Card Club. The representative was very nice and knowledgeable. Less than 10 minutes signing up and was off to play the slots. So many games to choose from. Older games, newer games and everything in between. Many gaming tables, too. Multiple beverage stations available. Clean restrooms. Temperature in casino was slightly chilly, but not as cold as Four Winds in New Buffalo, MI.
As for the slot games, they have many different Buffalo slot varieties, some I never heard of. My recent visit to Las Vegas didn't have the newest games, yet this casino did. Happy for that. Winning payouts were quite frequent for me and others. I was able to play a long time without losing very much. I definitely appreciate that.
If there were any issues with my visit, it was the flooring at the front entrance of the casino. There is a steep ramp and it is very hard not to trip over it, fall and roll. While signs and different colored carpet somewhat help people to notice this hazard, it doesn't work well enough. I saw many, many people have near accidents, including myself and family members of all ages.
It is a major hazard for any age or physical disability. It's NOT a good way to start your casino experience at Blue Chip.
The other issue is the security gate that checks ID and such.
While all casinos have these gates, Blue Chip has them AFTER the restaurants. Having them this way isn't very smart or practical. It's a nuisance.
With all other casinos, these security check gates are at the front doors, not AFTER the lobby and restaurant area. This way, if you buy drinks at a restaurant, you are already through the security check.
After purchasing a soft drink and a coffee at Blue Chip's Deli which is before the security gate, I was told I couldn't bring it through the security, even though security watched me buy the coffee. I had to drink it in the lobby or outdoors. Dumbest thing I have ever seen at any casino I've been to in my lifetime. Put the security gates at the front doors BEFORE the restaurants and main casino floor.
All and all, though, this casino was a surprise and a pleasant one.
While I like Four Winds, it's nice to see other places offer the casino experience. I'll be back soon, however, with no restaurant drinks purchased before the security gate. ...and watch out for that crazy ramp, too.

The rooms in the spa building are nice and easy accessible live music every weekend is a plus the staff is friendly but there aren’t a lot of food options. The book has shortened their menu which was sad I loved the fish and chips and it seemed they raised prices. The taco/burrito stand I would rate only 5/10 cheap cafeteria food in my opinion hope the new Togo place is better

Stayed here for my birthday weekend. Had an excellent time. Some very nice wins on low bets on the slots, seemed to be loose. The room was fantastic, very modern and a great view. The only issue I had was with a dealer named Sloan. I have never had a dealer this rude, mean, and completely off-putting to guests. She wouldn't engage with any of the players at the table and looked mad that she had to deal the cards. One player at the table had never played before and she won't answer any of his questions. She started loudly arguing with another player after he placed a wrong amount for a bet. Completely unacceptable especially when we are gambling our hard earned money. Never had an experience anywhere close to this with a dealer and I have been to casinos all over the country & world. Me and 3 other players got up and left because of how bad it was. Wanted to start playing again later in the night but just had to avoid sitting down because she was still standing there (at an empty table). Definitely costing the casino money with that attitude. Other than this dealer issue my stay here was phenomenal and I will definitely be back.

I am in town for work and this is the hotel my employer booked. At first glance it is a very nice hotel. The rooms are large and the shower is beautiful. However, the longer I was here, I started noticing things. While my room smelled fine, you get slapped in the face with cigarette smoke smell as soon as you walk into the hall. The heating/cooling works well, but startled me a few times kicking on because it is loud. Also, for having a beautiful bathroom, I was surprised to see there is a mold/mildew problem. Lastly, the lights work oddly. I have no idea what half of these buttons say (and they randomly shut off on me one day), so it was a button mashing experience to get what I wanted.
For as expensive as the hotel seems to be, it's not worth it.
Lisa K — Google review
The casino itself is fun, but if you would like to visit here, I highly recommend that you book a room in a local hotel and simply drive in for a casino visit. If you do choose to stay here do yourself a really big favor, and call in your room reservation. Why? Because using the link on their website will literally cost you $130 more than if you simply call them and ask for a room. My next recommendation is that before you visit Blue Chip Casino Hotel you begin a training regimen so that you will be able to handle the amount of walking required to stay in the hotel and do anything else in this establishment. It is literally laid out so poorly that there is not even a doorway to get to the check-in counter from the driveway, you have to walk a blue mile to get there too. Then when you try to check in, if you are early they will not assign you a room, give you a key or help you in any way except to allow you to pay early. Then you have to wait in line again in order to pick up your room key. Save yourself the aggravation, leave your bags in the car and just check in close to four. There are not enough people working the counter, so the line is long and slow moving. I guess it would be too much like right, to tell you what room you'll be in, and allow the bellhop to deliver the bags when the room is available. They will allow you to check your bags in with the bellhop, but they only have one so when you want to get your bags back, eat a snack first, because you might die of starvation waiting for the one BellHop to come back to the counter. Then you will literally have to walk to the next county to get to your room with no assistance from anyone in the place. If you are looking forward to that traditional casino buffet keep driving folks! Since the pandemic they decided they don't need one anymore. What they billed as a suite is literally a standard room. I would come back to play in the casino but will never stay here again.

Ehh.... we were going to go in after the fireworks, so as we waited in the "nearly empty" parking g garage, we were told to leave. There was no danger,no nuisance and no disruptions at that time. So we left and left with our money to patron Four Winds. Note the pics.... Security Guard also left his car running and unattended with the door open.

Although I have gambled several times at the blue chips casino last night or the night before last was the first time I’ve ever stayed the night there. I noticed several things immediately one of them was that the machines ate my $20 bills like they were nothing. I went through $300 in about five minutes and then as far as the hotel goes it is nice but the pool is on the other side of the tower so you have to walk through like past everyone that’s going to the casino to get to the pool in addition to that you notice right away that there is like this powder stuff in front of all every single door where I don’t know if it has to do with the vacuuming it’s getting done or what but it just was not very impressive. In addition to that we asked for a cot to be brought up to our room because we didn’t have enough space and they said that it was a fire hazard because we had two queen beds. Another thing I noticed was that they were telling people all over the phone that the rooms were sold out but I saw them actually open they” they opened a room for a person they came in, so they obviously could break the rules for that person, but not for everybody else which seems very unfair to me. The staff was pretty rude and it’s very hard to find a ticket processor (if you do actually win and want to cash in your ticket) which unfortunately has never been the case for me at the blue chips casino!

The casino was nice as was the room and the view from our room.
The layout for getting into the hotel part isn't great due to how far you will likely have to park and carry your bags in.
Check in can take a bit as well and there's an extra resort fee not added into the hotel room charges if booking on somewhere like Priceline.

I was here for a business holiday party, I got the room because I didn't want to drive back home because I knew I'd be drinking, well in the morning when I went to take a shower the water sprayed everywhere due to the shower head which probably just needs to changed out, the way the shower head was positioned let me know it was positioned that way so the water wouldn't go on to the floor. If the bathroom had been cleaned prior to my stay, the cleaning folks should have reported the broken shower Head, this makes me think they don't clean their bathrooms

The room was clean and nicely upgraded. There was a loud fan or vent running non stop in our corner room.
The casino can use some industrial air purifiers. We are non smokers and people can smoke in all areas which is annoying if you are not used to it. I've been in bars that use ceiling purifiers that help tremendously.
Food is good in the 2 places we checked out. Nit too pricey. Service was so-so.

I was disappointed to pay a resort fee for this location. No pool, the rude supervisor told me that the fee includes the water(2 small bottles) and internet and the casino. Nothing was resort and 2 employees even had side conversations right in front of us said this building is not resort. As for my room. The peephole had tissue covering it and the trashbags were not even inside the trashcans . The fact no one got our towels either is concerning. Wont recommend or come back. Don't waste your money. Yes i already emailed the company.
2/27/24: I truly do not believe your operations team will do anything different. I see other people have also left the same reviews that I did and clearly the problem is not being fixed. It was just very disappointing because I was really looking forward to a great experience. I am not sure that I would ever be able to give a five star rating.

My girlfriend and I came to Blue Chip Casino to enjoy ourselves. We came up to to their I.D. booth and I was rudely verbally assaulted by the black male employee that runs the desk. I’m a red head and he says you look like a leprechaun. It was not a playful thing and he insulted me. This person is fueled with power from getting authority to run the front gate. This person needs to be removed as he’s putting a bad vibe into customers before they even start to gamble. He was a black male working on 3/14/2024 at around 9:30pm with blue jacket. He gave me an insulted feeling and I had many things I could have said to him but I didn’t want to ruin the night for my girl and I. This person needs to know how customer service works as he is not a good person for how he treats others and just jealous at what he see’s. This man is middle aged and he should be reprimanded for this treatment. I am a joking kind person and this character/breed is not that type and just the type that makes others feel bad to make his miserable self feel better. Get him out of there. This is not a friendly place as soon as you try to enter the place, at least when he controls the gate with his ego.
Modern working farm for families to discover agriculture alongside exhibits, restaurants & a hotel.
This was my first time at Fair Oaks Farm and I had a wonderful time! It's the fanciest orchard/farm I've ever been to and was really lovely. We went apple picking and ate at their farm-to-table restaurant which were all lovely. I'd definitely recommend this for family and friends groups alike!

Had a nice afternoon, we went for lunch at the Farm house . Had a 45 minute wait which gave us time to walk around. There's a really beautiful yard and creek that runs behind the restaurant and they were set up for a wedding that day. It's a real cool place to have a wedding. The Market had apples and alot goodies, but nothing is cheap so you know. Our lunch was very good and the service was wonderful. I suggest the fried chicken it was amazing and the pizzas are really good. I have taken the tours and went through the other educational parts of the farm and it's very interesting and the kids all enjoy it. It's a nice weekend trip and easy to get to.

If you are cool with seeing a "mega farm" then this is it. I didn't realize they were the ones on the news for animal abuse in the past before going there and apparently they are still not up to what it should be for their animals. I can't say that I saw abuse of any of the animals but I can say that I didn't totally enjoy what I saw either. It's one of those give and take kinda places. It was rainy and windy the day we went so unfortunately we couldn't let the kids rock climb. We did go to the cafe first thing and I will say the food was alright. We ordered coffee and yet a dairy farm didn't have any creamer?!? That's crazy to me. The exhibits were okay. We did see 2 calf's born that day...but I can't say I like the practice of them taking the calf right away from their mom after they were born. Eh...it's just a me thing. The kids enjoyed the rope climb in the pork barn. And it was interesting in all the buildings and the bus rides out to the cows and the pigs. Like I said...I can't completely support how these animals are being cared for or how they are living. It's just not something I would like to see and by the end the kids didn't like it either. To each their own. We just really love animals and this wasn't the best display for them to be showcased in. The dough nuts we bought there were delicious! And the restaurant located on the grounds was delicious! Pricey but delicious. So overall this place wasn't quite for me. It was interesting.

This is amazing little place to stop for a day, especially if you have kids or love farm animals. We took the dairy tour and it was neat to learn about all the crazy work that goes into extracting udder juice from an animal. Fair Oaks has spared no expense in putting together a world-class farm tour experience and it's well worth the high price tag to get in.

To be honest I've been coming here for years for the gas station. It's a common stop for me and my friends and now family.
The ice cream is a nice change of pace. But the dog park is the real attraction for us on the road.
It's quiet. Well outfitted. Never a problem.

My family and I went to see the forest of lights and omgosh was this a fun filled family night! Dancing in the woods and twirling around with my parents is definitely a core memory I’m not likely to ever forget. The Jameson cart is also a brilliant idea, and my toddy I had was def appreciated to fight off the cold. We had an absolute blast and I cannot wait to go back again to visit.

We stop here every year when visiting family for their amazing cheeses and chocolate milk. There is so much more to do here than I have ever even been able to check out so we hope to do that some day. You could plan a whole trip around this place!
I skipped a year after the animal abuse allegations and did not plan on visiting again. After seeing how seriously the issue was addressed and the new practices and cameras throughout made me confident everything was being done to never let that happen again. We look forward to continuing our visits.

What a great place to visit. My wife and I stopped by on our way back from a cross country drive. I have always wanted to go on a tour and I would highly recommend if you got a day you will definitely learn tons here and might even see a momma Cow give birth. While we were visiting we saw 2 births and one even had twins. It really is kid friendly and they will learn so much as well. The staff was very friendly and was always quick to answer questions. You can see they love their job!!

We only stopped in as I was passing through because I've always wanted to see a rotary style dairy parlor. The whole set up was great! Lots of stuff to do for kids, we ate lunch at the restaurant, it was decent but not amazing. The farm tour was top notch! Air conditioned bus, farms are wheelchair accessible. We only did the dairy tour but wish we had time to do more. Will come back again.

Great weekend experience. We stayed overnight with harvest host in our RV.
It was the start of their sunflower 🌻 festival. They have a flower field full of sunflowers and wild flowers to pick from.
There’s a bistro with sandwich and an ice creamery.
They offer two 90 minute tours of their dairy and pork productions.
We did the dairy tour. You get to see where the cows feed, birth, milk and rest.
There’s also a restaurant on site. GET RESERVATIONS!!

Wow! We stopped to kill a little bit of time and wish we had more time. We were traveling with a person with disabilities and nothing held us back. The tour of the cow facilities was 100% accessible including the bus (wheelchair lift) and the barns (elevators to viewing areas). There is a special needs restroom with an adult changing table in the Market building!! I wish more places would offer this! Thank for a great couple hours, we will be back!

Absolutely fantastic. Zero complaints, crew is hard working, always makes me happy to see a manager assisting his crew and asking every table how their meal is. Food is immaculate; highly recommend.
The winter lights display is outstanding! Got engaged there this year. All around a great establishment for dining/family time.

In Fair Oaks Farms, where nature unfolds,
Acres of joy, stories untold.
Escape to the country, where the heart warms,
A haven of fun at Fair Oaks Farms.
Amidst the fields, under the sky so vast,
Dairy Adventures and memories cast.
Pigs and crops, a learning spree,
Fair Oaks, where knowledge is set free.
Crissy, our guide, with a friendly grace,
Led us to a booth, the perfect place.
Away from cries, in the bar's embrace,
Watching igloo diners, a unique space.
Cheese shops beckon with treasures untold,
Fortunes spent on flavors bold.
In Fair Oaks Farms, where joy increases,
Our positive tale, filled with delightful pieces.

My husband and I went with our three kids(5, 3, and 4 months) yesterday. We had a great time! The prices seem a bit steep for admission, since most of the things you can do around the farm cost extra. We did the Dairy Adventure, Pig Adventure, and U-Pick Apples. After admission, food, activities, and ice cream, we probably spent about $300 all together. And we didn’t really do any other spending on things like toys, pumpkins, farm made foods, etc. Children and adults all cost the same to enter, other than age 2 and under being free. They also accommodate for wheelchair access with ramps and elevators, even on the adventures. And they allow you to use their strollers for smaller kids since you can’t bring your own strollers on the bus. Overall the experience was great, but way too expensive for a one day trip for our smaller family.

This review is for the Farm House restaurant and surrounding property at Fair Oaks Farms. I also did a separate review of the Fairfield Inn that is on site.
The Farm House restaurant is one of our favorite places and we plan trips around stopping here. This is the first time we stayed on the property and took advantage of all they have to offer.
The restaurant is huge but still feels cozy and inviting. There is a large fireplace with a roaring fire and you can view the kitchen from the dining room. The servers are proficient and very accommodating. The first night my husband had the chicken pot pie which tasted very homemade and had large chunks of chicken inside a flaky crust. I had a salad with honey mustard dressing and added grilled salmon. It was perfect and I ate every bit. We are watching what we eat so no drinks or desserts for us.
The second night we shared the sausage pizza. This is listed as an appetizer but it is more than enough for a meal for two! We even took home a few slices. The taste was wonderful.
There is a cafe called Cowfe on site where they serve their famous grilled cheese. My husband had the grilled cheese and I had the Rueben. Both were very good. Not much atmosphere here. I think it is meant to accommodate a large number of people quickly. It was not busy but the staff was not overly friendly.
Also on site is a large gift shop called the Market. They have fresh homemade donuts, brownies and other treats as well as a large selection of merchandise. You can even buy potatoes, apples and squash. Cute place. Prices were not bad.

A great escape an hour and a half from Chicago. We went for the Forest of Lights and it was beautiful. Loved the Market. I love exploring places like this.
Very clean. Fun for all ages and very family friendly. If you live within a reasonable driving distance, purchase a family membership and come back multiple times instead of a one day visit. The staff is great, friendly, and informative.

We came here for the food on the way back from a trip to Hebron and back. And we loved the food. We came back on a second trip as well. The service was great too and it's absolutely beautiful. We didn't get to experience the rest of the farm but I've attached photos of the pamphlet.

I really enjoy visiting. My younger children love each of the activity buildings. Older children may not enjoy as much. The outdoor bouncer, milk rockwall, and trampoline keep the children active and entertained for hours. I about I have not had a meal here, but the ice cream is delicious.

This was a fun place to visit while traveling with some members from my church! We got to see a few of the baby cows that had been born, and we had some of the best ice cream ice ever had. We also got a few different kinds of aged cheese that had crystals in it, which was delicious. Highly recommended.

So much to do!!!! Started by eating at the restaurant. I highly recommend the chicken pot pie!! Took a short trip to see the cows and when we came back, we actually watched a cow give birth. Walked through the buildings that are clearly aimed toward the kids, but us adults still enjoyed and learned. There is an outside play area that includes a rock climbing activity and a very unique trampoline. Then we took a short bus ride to see the piggies. What an operation! Finished off with a trip to the Cafe for fresh, delicious ice cream and apple donuts from the Harvest Market. Well worth our 2 hour drive.

I'll start by saying I was here 12 years ago and I loved it, and since then they have added so much stuff it is crazy, we all had a blast, we loved the pig adventure and the dairy adventure, and the cowfe had great food and I loved the milk... This place was well worth the 8 hour drive to see again... There is not a lot of places that legitimately earn a 5 star review from me but this place exceeded it.

Ok, there are things for the kids and grandkids to do for free. But you have to pay to see how the farm works. Being from a rural farm area, we enjoyed the farm tour, and the ice cream was a treat.

Good place to bring kids or grandchildren and make a day of it. This is mote of a place for those whom have not been to a farm or around farms and if you have been to farms you will be disappointed. There is alot of signs and information as you walk around and staff was great about answering questions. The food at the cow cafe was good and was a croud pleaser for our group. The kids loved the food too. Going on a weekend expect ling lines in the cafe to eat. Our granddaughter got to see a cow deliver the baby and then eventually take the first step which she really enjoyed. The place was clean and well taken care of. The food alone is worth the stop . Definitely should stock up on cheese while you are there so make sure you bring a cooler.

What a cool place!! My wife & I were on a road trip and stopped to charge up our Tesla and kill time. Little did we know how massive the estate is, and how many activities exist. We immediately started planning a dedicated trip back (there's a hotel onsite) with our future child. I would absolutely recommend a visit, whether it's a stop on a road trip, or the main event!

If you're in the area, it's worth the money. Kids two and under are free. They provide strollers on the adventure but not to walk around the rest of the facility. Super educational, very polite, trained to answer the hard questions, cleanest farm I've ever seen. We liked this little vacation best so far. Playgrounds, kid train, little maze, calf birthing center, 3D mini theater, everything is interactive. Super cool.

What an awesome day we had! Dining in the igloo was such a neat experience we'll never forget! Food was delicious..... especially the corn muffins and garlic mashed potatoes! My 3 year old was easily entertained the entire time and we went on the dairy tour and the pig tour! Every tour guide was knowledgeable. I would say they could be a bit more enthusiastic, but they may have been nervous. Carl, our bus driver, was fantastic! He was excited to be there for sure and very knowledgeable. We will be back for sure!

Shady Creek Winery is very inviting and vibrant with an open concept allowing plenty of natural light which I loved. The wines were very good the reason for 3 stars for the food is because I only had the flatbread which was good but need to explore the menu a bit more. It was cold outside so couldn’t enjoy the patio seating. This was my first time but definitely won’t be my last definitely recommend for date night or a girls day out.

Beautiful location and great wines. We did not enjoy the experience of sitting on the patio and going inside to the bar to order our wine and food. It was difficult to carry multiple flights to our table and push open the patio doors. We were here at lunch... Not sure if the experience is different at dinner. Bring your wallet to the bar. It's pay as you go. I think the experience was just not what we were expecting.
We enjoyed the dry red and sweet flights. The avocado rolls and chicken cuban were both good. The patio is beautiful with views of a little creek and fountain. We loved the yard games! They have bags, Jenga, frisbees, lawn dice and a football.
There is a gift shop with lots of wine themed gifts and bottles of Shady Creek wine.

This place is under construction at the moment, but doesn't effect the taste of the mulled wine. The old beautiful barn is gone, but there's another being built. This place will be awesome when construction is done. It is currently open for business during construction.

We celebrated a 50th birthday and had a group of 10 women. The winery is absolutely gorgeous both outside and in. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour, showcasing all of the beautiful event spaces (that many of us are already planning on tapping into for future personal/corporate parties). There were so many wonderful wines to choose from, we tasted quite a few and they all showcased amazing flavors. The staff was very welcoming and extremely accommodating and took such great care of our group. We tried and shared a variety of food options and the consensus was overwhelming that the food was in no way secondary to the wine. Given the fact that our group kept cancelling our other winery stops for the day, you could say it was a huge success! We will all be back for another visit soon!

We visited 5 wineries on the trail and Shady Creek was my least favorite. They are certainly the biggest and prettiest but not the cleanest. The tower my flight was served on was dirty. it was sticky and had fabric stuck to it. Who wants to drink wine that was on a dirty tower? Furthermore, I believe I was served old cheese with my bread and oil because I’m pretty sure what I observed was mold. Needless to say I did not even finish eating it. Also, each of the other wineries gives you 4 choices for flights, while Shady Creek only gives 3 for the same price. Loved the live music and the view but that’s about it.

I’m a local photographer and a client of mine asked for me to photograph his proposal to his girlfriend (now, Fiance!) at Shady Creek Winery! This is a favorite spot of ours to visit and enjoy food and wine, so I was thrilled to visit again with my camera and capture the beauty of the space with a beautiful couple to pair! He had arranged with their coordinator, Jane, to have a barrel set up with flowers, a bottle of sparkling wine, and a few glasses upstairs. She was so helpful and even met me ahead of time to show me where the photo location would be for the big moment. The day came and the proposal happened without a hitch - she said YES! 💍🎉 we then went and took a few photos around the property to celebrate before they headed off to their igloo for food, more delicious wine & to celebrate! Thank you Shady Creek for being such a gracious host for this beautiful proposal and making everything so smooth and successful!

The place was hopping and we were lucky we reserved an igloo in advance. The staff were friendly enough, but I did experience some frustration. I was interested in the veggie pizza but it said the veggies varied, and you needed to ask for the veggies of the day. I asked about the veggies of the day to make sure I liked what would be going on my pizza. The waitress didn't know. So I asked who would know, and she went and asked the manager. The manager didn't know, so again, I asked who would know. They said the chef, so I asked if they could please ask the chef. The waitress went and asked and came back with, I kid you not, "asparagus and other veggies". I was like, what other veggies? She was like, I don't know, veggies that go with asparagus. Ugh. I ended up just ordering a plain cheese pizza. After I ordered it, my friend was inside and the manager had found out what the veggies were and let her know so she could tell me. I did end up being able to then change my order to the veggie pizza. So, I guess in the end they figured it out but dang, that was a frustrating experience. After that though I felt like they stepped up their game and our service was fast and efficient. I did enjoy the food and the drinks that we had there. I really hemmed and hawed over their rating but I went with 4 stars because although I was frustrated, they did eventually get the answer to me and she could have let it be since I'd already ordered my food technically.

This was our first time here and it was a very nice experience! The wines were very good, I had the red umbrella, the Pinot Noir and the Zinfandel. I don’t drink Zinfandel but it was a recommendation from one of the servers, I tried it and it was very nice, bold taste! We had their charcuterie and other items from the menu and the paired well with the wines. Definitely going back.

My relationship with Shady Creek Winery extends over several years, a time during which I've seen it transform from a quaint wine haven to what I can only describe as a commercialized and industrial blight. While the winery still holds some appeal, my recent visit left me longing for the warmth and charm that once defined it.
The winery's space is undeniably massive, boasting a large dog-friendly outdoor area and two levels of interior space. Unfortunately, the ambiance has shifted towards a cold, barren, and industrial aesthetic, leaving me yearning for the cozy and welcoming atmosphere it once offered.
Service at Shady Creek has also evolved, moving away from a traditional waitstaff approach to a bar service model. Customers are required to order both food and drinks at the counter, with food brought to the table and drinks left to the customers to carry back. While I can appreciate the efficiency this might offer, the practicality of managing a flight of wine through a bustling winery can be rather challenging.
Seating proved to be another issue. We were placed at a table that could barely accommodate more than a couple of glasses of wine, let alone a meal. The close proximity of adjacent tables made for an uncomfortable dining experience, lacking in privacy and intimacy, and making the enjoyment of shared food items a logistical puzzle.
The food, while pleasant, was steeply priced. I opted for a Food and Wine pairing, which, for $25, offered three small pours of wine and three slivers of cheese. While the pairings themselves were delightful and the wine was acceptable, the sheer smallness of the plates was a surprise. My companion did, however, seem to enjoy the pizza we ordered.
In the wake of their extensive remodel, I've had some enjoyable moments at Shady Creek Winery, but my recent visit doesn't rank among them. It's disappointing to see a once-charming destination lose its essence in the name of expansion and modernization. Here's hoping Shady Creek can find a balance between its commercial aspirations and the warm, inviting charm that once made it so special.

First time here, we drove up from Indy to watch the sandhill cranes during their fall migration. This is a great setup, I am so impressed with the whole location. There's plenty of parking in the parking lot, the viewing platform is high and provides great aerial views, there is a ramp for accessibility, as well as stairs if you wanna get some gains. One can also observe without going up the raised platform, which is nice. There's a bench that allows for additional height to see over the barrier, several kids were on it looking out while we were there and they seemed to love it! There is a great informational booth there about cranes, as well as little quiz questions about cranes along the walking path. There are 2 porto-potties. Plenty of space. Everyone we met was friendly, and it was absolutely amazing to watch the cranes fly in around sunset. When we first arrived, the cranes were not in an area we could see them. We could hear some calls, but other birders there reported that the cranes were in a nearby field that had been cut. Sure enough, soon, so many sandhill cranes were flying in, landing, talking to each other. A beautiful experience, highly recommend! There are several permanent binocular viewing things there for free, they were good, and if you have personal binoculars I would definitely bring them.
We stayed till dark and loved the whole experience. I feel so happy to know that such an important environment exists in Indiana for these majestic birds ❤️

Michael Abel — Google review
Visited on a beautiful Friday in late September to see the Sandhill Cranes. The best viewing is supposed to be early morning and the evening, but even though we arrived midday, and a little early in the year, we saw 50+ cranes from the viewing platform. We were the only ones there, so it was quiet aside from the bugle calls of the cranes.
From 143, reach the viewing platform parking lot by turning north on to 1650 West, about 500 feet west of the Jasper-Pulaski Fish & Wildlife area sign. There is a parking lot, then a short, paved trail through some woods to the platform. The trail has quiz questions about Sandhill Cranes with answers posted on the bulletin board at the end of the trail. (Alternatively, skip the trail by driving past the first parking lot and on to handicap-only parking next to the viewing area.) The platform can be reached by stairs or ramp. There are several free telescopes and a small covered area for inclement weather. The decking of the platform is aging, but spot repairs are being made.
The cranes are beautiful birds, awkward and graceful at the same time. We loved seeing them glide in for a landing. Worth the trip.

During migration, JPFWA is a great place to view migrating Sandhill Cranes. The occasional, fortunate, person might also catch a glimpse of a rare Whooping Crane, as well. The established wildlife viewing area has a nice facility, including ample parking, accessible tower from which to view and photograph flocks of cranes, educational signage for interested folks, and restroom facilities. However, I also recommend driving the country roads running south from the formal viewing area. It is on those roads you are more-likely to see cranes closer up from the road. And, if your outing is like mine was, you may have to wait on some of those roads while the cranes move to the side or back into fields as you pass. Happy bird-watching.

One of Indiana's best natural resources and an easy trip for parents with kids both younger and older. Wonderful to see and hear the birds. Usually some nice bucks in the distance as well. I always make a trip up on Veteran's Day. Not as many birds as earlier in the year, but not very crowded with people either. Not too far from the bison at Kankakee Sands Nature Preserve or the cows at Fair Oaks Dairy if you wanted to add those to your trip as well. A few miles south of JPFWA is The Whistle Stop Restaurant near Monon Indiana with a nice train memorabilia museum and restaurant.

Indiana Beach Boardwalk Resort offers relaxed waterfront accommodations with a pool and dining options. The Beach Club Cottage #10 provides a spacious and clean 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom lodging with a stunning view of the lake. Despite some wear and tear, the cottage is suitable for a theme park setting. Visitors can enjoy water sport rentals and experience small crowds during events like Halloween, making it an ideal time to visit. The resort boasts nostalgic charm while featuring modern roller coasters alongside classic fairground rides.
The new owners have done a great job restoring the park. We went on a Saturday in September, and most the rides were manned and operating, which is great since all the college staff is gone. The old favorite food places are there too. Very happy with the improved park.

Had a great time at this park. Fun rides and an amazing atmosphere. The setting on the lake is fantastic.
Both of the new coasters were closed but it was still fun. It will be even better when they are open and running.
The Shafer Queen boat ride being included with the park ticket was a pleasant surprise and was a great way to view the park from the lake.
The park has a bunch of food options. The taco and fried snickers bar I had at the park were both good.

Our family purchases season passes and we enjoy our time at this park. The staff seems to really focus on cleanliness and we appreciate that.I would love to see a bit more TLC for the curb appeal of the park but I know it doesn't happen overnight and they are working on it. It has a very retro feel and that's what we live about it. NOTE: Plan to see their fireworks shows. They are surprisingly good quality!

Stayed in the Beach Club Cottage #10. Nice view, 2 br, 2 bath. Spacious lodging and clean. A little worn around the edges but within reason for a theme park cottage. The view was stunning. We kept the curtains open to the lake view. Water sport rentals are available. Here for Halloween and the crowds are small. No one is wearing a masks except a few employees. But most activities are outside. There is no waits, even on a Saturday. *The online booking site is confusing, it gave me the wrong room. So call before you book to avoid issues. AAA members and season pass holders are eligible for discounts. The cottage was quiet except for the sounds of the theme park across the parking lot attached to the cottages.

I like it. It has a nostalgic charm. Reminds me of Cedar Point on Lake Erie in Sandusky, Ohio back in the 60s. It's charming that some rides are on platforms in the water. Nice touch. I didn't mind paying the 20$ parking fee (pittance for what you pay for parking in San Francisco)so I could have my camping gear with me to cook my own food. I really can't imagine bringing a family and buying park food. The park does have a tired presence but I read that they have been on hard times and starting new ownership. It still gives local teenagers a summer job learning people skills and not sitting with their portable electronics. I wouldn't go out of my way to return, but would return if in the area again. Just not this year.
This is for Ryan's Pronto Pup: the fried veges.....spot on! The marinara could be a little thicker, just me, but didn't stop me from dipping.

I want to say I know it supports our community, but I have to give my true thoughts. It needs help. First I won my tickets. I have a hard time every year wanting to purchase tickets. Most of the time, rides are not running or are broke. It needs a serious makeover. We had fun. I do want to go back. I just think so fresh paint, rides that are running and some other activities to bring in the crowd is what is needed.

First time here, nice enjoyable park, has some great unique rides. For an amusement park, has no carmel or candied apples, no cotton candy, taffy or fudge for sale, which is really strange for a place like this. Souvenirs and gift shops were nice, but sparce with selections that other parks may offer. Staff seemed like they didn't want to be there, with the exception of maybe 20 ride hosts and hostesses. Aside from that, this is a really nice place.

I would visit this place on a regular basis as a kid and was lucky enough to visit for the first time in probably 20 years just a couple of weeks ago. My husband and I took our kids (6 &9) and they LOVED it. It's like this place never changed...and I loved that. This is not a Kings Island or Cedar Point- and I don't mean that to be a drawback, because it is not. It's a little slower paced, has short lines, plenty of rides, games, food, and has a water park. I can't say enough about the employees, too. Every person we interacted with that day who worked there was so kind and patient. If your kiddos are 5-13 and not yet ready for the big coasters at the larger amusement parks, this is the place to take them. Please know they do have big roller coasters- they have something for everyone.

So fun and nostalgic! We had a blast....staff is SO friendly. Shout out to the guy running Fascination he was so patient and efficient. Another shoutout to the mechanics that kept the antique cars running and got a broken one up and going so quickly.
The kids had a blast with all the rides. Some Waterpark features were not open when we visited, but we weren't planning on that anyways, so it didn't affect us.
Can't wait to return!

This was an INCREDIBLE find. We (me + 11 & 13yo daughters) had SO much fun that we upgraded our day pass to a season pass. Here's what I loved about the place.
1. Packed with nostalgia. They've kept this place up very well since it was first built in the 1920s.
2. They have modern roller coasters (a new one should be unveiled this month) and rides reminiscent of the County Fair.
3. It's small and compact with a gondola to carry you from one end of the park to the other, also offering terrific views.
4. If you stay on the property, parking ($20) is FREE. And there is a ticket discount if you stay 2 nights.
5. There is definitely more to do than in just one day, so it's worth it for 2 days or a season pass.
6. Live entertainment and dancing at night on the weekends. And rides are open until 10pm.
6. I felt safe letting my kids walk around the park while I enjoyed a drink at the Sky Bar. The park has 3 bars, including an adorable Tiki Bar right next to the "beach."
7. In the area is also a drive-in movie theater and a large docked boat that offers live music every weekend as well as occasional cruises.
8. If you aren't expecting Disney or Six Flags and can appreciate a park that will take you for a walk down memory lane while the kids have fun, this is the place for you!
***Special mention, we live 10 minutes away from Kings Island, so we are accustomed to expensive modern parks with LONG lines. We often long for the classic amusement rides that were at Coney Island along the Ohio River. Indiana Beach is a nice mix of them both.

I do really like coming here. I do recommend if you are planning to go here a lot this summer that you get the season pass. I do like the scenery and how some of the rides are over the lake. It makes it so much better. The wooden rollercoasters are a little ruff especially when you stop on Hoosier hurricane when your in the front. But I'm not surprised with the age of these rollercoasters and them being wooden. Steel hawg is very smooth! I do love the rides here and they are so much fun! Especially if you are just starting out with rollercoasters or if you have a young child.

Haven't been here since 1990's. A lot has changed, but it still feels the same. The day I went about half the rides were inoperative and/or under repair. The same can be said for the arcade games. Food lines were long at peak times. We enjoyed the carnival rides and atmosphere, as well as the beach in a perfect day.

We had a great time as a family! Great Father's Day! Parking was free and close. Staff was friendly. I wish they would offer unlimited free drinks like what most amusement parks are doing nowadays. That's the only reason why I gave them a four star instead of a five.

Its a generational favourite. People coming here appreciate the value of having a place in their lives that still connects to a time where fun and great times were had with loved ones whom may not be around anymore. To anyone visiting for the 1st time it appears to be nothing more than an overpriced and nostalgic dump, but to those of us bringing our grandchildren here as our grandparents may have brought us 40 "plus" years ago, this place is wonderful. Check your adulthood at the door and let your inner child run forever!!!!

Founded in 1869, this school is known for its air & space, engineering, science & English programs.
One of the greatest US higher education institutions. A real focus on engineering and agriculture issues that matter. Graduated more astronauts than any other school including Neil Armstrong. The engineering program may be the best in the US or world, tons of research going on and they have a lot of associated research campuses next to the campus including with aerospace companies. Great internship opportunities for students. They are really focused on getting students real skills to get a job which contributes to society. The campus is full of fun bright young people who restore your faith in the future and our youth. It is a real college campus feel, so much fun and so incredibly well run and operated. They treat their students like their "customers", and really do what the very best for them.

Chinese professors in American universities always give U.S. taxpayer-funded scholarships to Chinese students who came straight from China, whose parents and grandparents have never paid taxes to the IRS. These Chinese students get to attend American universities and graduate for free.
Scholarships should only be given to students who are U.S. citizens.

A University should want their students to succeed and set them up for success with proper housing. Purdue exhibits terrible treatment of students. No planning whatsoever for the students major area of study when placing the students in housing so they can be placed in the part of campus closest to their classes. For example they place many engineering students furthest away from their classes. No concern whatsoever for students. It does not take a lot of effort to place students in housing close to where their classes will be for the most part.
Purdue over enrolls for the financial gain and then puts three and four students in rooms designed for two.
Horrible crowding!
Prospective students beware!!! We were lied to during campus tour and told housing issues had been resolved. Far from it!
Much too expensive for out of state students to be treated so badly by the Purdue Administration. There are many fine universities that treat their students like human beings, Purdue not being one of them.

If you are a transfer applicant, please don't apply for math or anything else that is related to the department of mathematics and statistics. I have heard a lot of cases where they refused many good background transfer students who applied math. They give some vague reasons, like space limitations or unsatisfaction with prerequisite courses. They don't show any information about their limited-space programs like other universities do. And they never ask for your course syllabus before denying your application. And the academic advisor at this university I contact is kind of pretentious; she seems to leave me with the impression that Purdue is the best university in the US. I need to try my best to get admitted at all costs, no matter what major I choose, though I have shown my preferences and interests.

Beautiful campus during the summer. Visited the Neil Armstrong statue and the surrounding areas - recommended for first-time visitors. Both of old gate and new gate were beautiful. We saw people taking wedding pictures in front of the gate. The lawn was also maintained well with many flowers. Enjoy the vibes on campus!

This is a cute little park in Lafayette, Indiana. They have a zoo, water slide, baseball field and all the amenities for a fun day out with the kids.

Small and easy to walk around zoo. Fun for my toddler and stroller friendly. It costs me $6 to get in and $4 for the train. We also paid for 2 feedings for goats. Admission was way less than you’ll ever spend at another zoo!
There’s a micro splash pad that doesn’t throw water up too high. We did grab a few cold drinks from the gift shop.
All in all we spent 1.5 hour there, less than $20 and had a good time.
If you are going with a toddler, I highly recommend a stroller. It’s a good hike from the street parking lot to the entrance.
They do have a handicap parking lot behind the entrance.
After leaving the zoo you can pop over to the community park. It’s free!

This was a really fun and cheap trip. It was only $2 per person to get in. For .49 you can feed the goats. That was really fun. The goats were way gentler than I imagined. Make sure you get your goat feeding tickets at the entrance. They don't sell them at the Family Farm. It was really fun. There was a good amount of animals and you can tell they are well cared for.

Lots of things to do at the park including a playground that's really nice and a zoo that is really cool, they have been doing construction for a long time but they finally got the ballpark up and running and it looks great. A nice local town zoo. Has expanded over the years and is a fun visit. Used to be free, but now there's a $2. charge. The train ride is also $2 each. My 5 yr old thinks the butterfly house is pretty cool. There's a water feature at the entrance that is fun. Be careful feeding the goats with little ones, they all come a running!

9/23/23- Great place for kids and to grill. Lots of things to do besides the play area. You can take a walk around the pond and see the fountains. You can take pictures all over the place.
Today the Tippecano Latin Festival was held there today with lots of people and sponsor's. Plenty of things to do for kids and adults. It's a yearly event. Lots of fun!
We saw a wedding on our way out. I guess you can add that to the list of things to do. Great time!

It's not a large zoo, but it's nice. It's very clean. It's 2 dollars a person to get in, goat feed and train are extra, but worth the few extra bucks. Our only disappointment was not being able to see the penguins because of the air quality. We will definitely be making several trips to this little gem!!!

The zoo area does not have many attractions, but the enclosures are nice. It also has a really nice play area with age themed jungle gyms and play areas. It has many gazebos for picnicking, and I do believe I also saw small grills built in. Also a live band stage.

Been taking my daughter there for her entire life. A great little zoo with a petting zoo with goats, a Llama, & Shetland pony (a little horse?). The cooler morning has the prairie dogs put about with their babies, the baby goats are always adorable, and the penguin exhibit is nicely done.

Went on a overcast Autumn Wednesday. It was a beautiful, peaceful day for some one on one time with the little. LOTS of new animals and stuff to do!
Also, a new restaurant/pub on Scott Street! We had lunch there before the Zoo and it was phenomenal! Reasonably priced, absolutely delicious food, very kind waitress, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend a day trip! It's all in one spot! Food, Zoo, Playground, and ice-cream! All at reasonable prices! 😊
Museum in 1 of only 3 remaining rotary jails in the country, with regular events.
We loved our tour. It was very informative and fun. My daughter says she had a blast while learning about the history. She had smiles and enjoyed telling others about what she learned when we left.
We were told about different events that they hold. If you enjoy spooky things, they offer something at Halloween. There are classes held and also open for event rental.
They accept cash ( best option for entry) because Square can not always be reliable in my opinion. It's just $5 entry and that leaves extra for donation for preservation.

Most interesting museum we've ever been in! We've traveled the US and several countries and I must say, this is the one that we stumbled on that will forever be remembered! Who knew a rotary jail was a thing? Not us!
The guided tour takes you through the sheriff's residence which has several original furnishings and household items. There's plenty of history to read on the walls and other time period items to learn about but the main attraction is of course the jail! Our tour guide was a bit odd and he was pretty short in his stories and explanations but the gal that toured the jail and basement was perfect! She explained everything in detail and embellished with some tales of the jail!
The jail rotates! Literally spins around with one door in and one door out! Well, that was the way it was built originally and operated until 1933, then they said no more rotating, too many prisoner injuries! It still rotates though, the only one in existence so definitely a must see!

Are you into historic stuff? Does old engineering amaze you? Does history make you curious? Then you are in for a Trifecta treat. This jail is the last working jail of this kind in the country. The history of the building is fascinating and the demonstration was particularly cool. Definitely recommend the guided tour so you can get the whole story, and he rotated the cells which was super cool to see! Beautiful building in the living quarters with lots of original furnishings. A cast of John Dillinger's death mask was displayed which was neat and creepy. Also, the story of John Coffee from The Green Mile came from this jail! All in all, a unique experience to be had.

France Park is beautiful, even on a cloudy day. There's a spot for (seemingly for fishing) full of lily pads on one side of the park and another for swimming and kayaking/canoeing on the other side. There's also a waterfall not far past the entrance, but it can't be seen from the road. If you want to see that, you might ask the staff at the entrance where it's at. Anyway, there's plenty of places for photos and hiking. I'm a little sad I didn't get to explore more of the park since we weren't provided with a map or any sort of directions. The water is beautiful and you can find more about the park online than you can at the park itself. There are restrooms and plenty of camping sites for tent camping, possibly more. Like I said, I just went for hiking and photographing the scenery. It's an amazing hidden gem in the middle of nowhere, Indiana.

France Park is a great place to explore and hike! We had never been here before and were pleasantly surprised with how calm and un-crowded it was on a summer morning. The sights were breathtaking including the water filled quarry and the waterfall as well. The trails are fantastic as well, with our only gripe being that the trail markings are poor - in fact, trail markings are non-existent. Be prepared to check the map on your phone often if you find yourself confused about where to head next!

I have been to France Park many times throughout my life. It is well maintained and the entry cost is cheap. For just $5 per adult, you can hike the trails, go for a bike ride along the nicely paved roads (or gravel for those with a more resilient bicycle) visit the scenic waterfall, go fishing, and go swimming all day! They also have a variety of activities during the summer that include a zip line, a floating bouncy course with slides, and even Scuba diving!
For those who want a longer stay, France Park offers many nice camping plots. Truly one of the finer things of the Logansport area.

Really nice park, but their trails are not well marked or maintained. There are many more trails than are on their map. Highly recommend hiking around the quarry lake for some stunning views. The waterfall is very pretty. The beach is nice and has a floating play area. The water is fairly clear, especially on the far side where you can scuba dive. $5 daily fee is reasonable, camping is available and the sites seem decent.

This park is completely beautiful. Amazing views and trails. I especially liked that some trails led to hidden beaches. Trails are a difficult beginner level, requires some decent shoes. Water is crystal blue.
The reason I gave it 3 stars is for 2 reasons. First, I read online they charge by car. When we got there they told us it was per person and did not provide a receipt or a map. And overall were a bit rude when I asked. Second, there was a lot of trash on the trails. I realize they can't control visitors but I was surprised by how much trash there was, made me feel disappointed.

I recently took my brother jumping as a wedding gift. Our initial jump was cancelled the morning of due to high winds, which was no problem. Rescheduling was simple and we jumped a few days later. We arrived a couple minutes after 5PM and we were back on the road by 7PM. We jumped on a weekday.
The staff was very kind and in great spirits. I jumped with Raul, who was great. He asked me if it was my first time, to which I replied yes, and he said “cool, me too.” Lmao.
Photos and videos were completely worth it. I didn’t realize until I saw the footage (which I received the SAME day) that I sported a huge, goofy grin on my face basically the whole jump, haha. Like a kid on Christmas!

Went skydiving for the first time ever yesterday and I was really scared leading up to it. I for real can't even get on step ladders without shaking, but waiting and watching other groups go up and come back down with big smiles on their faces was really reassuring. By the time you have your harness on, there isn't much time to think about being scared. It is a really surreal experience and a rush like no other. I am so glad I did it! Lukas and Chuck were awesome and helped me feel safe and comfortable. I would do it again. :)
Some notes:
-We were rescheduled twice due to weather and that's okay because we would rather be safe than sorry. Our weather was perfect on the third try and we went around 7pm so the almost-sunset-time views were really beautiful.
-Bring water and some snacks in case you have to wait a while for your group to jump. They also have vending machines if you have cash.
-Seating is a little limited if they're very busy, but there are picnic tables and chairs outside, too. (Bring sunscreen - some aren't under shade!)
-You only feel like you're falling for a moment when you jump out of the plane. The rest is like floating!
-If you are worried you will look floppy in your video, you will actually look even floppier than you are imagining. But it's worth it!
-It's much quieter than expected once the chute opens.
-It's very cool to be the first one out of the plane. Plus, you get the best view!
Thanks so much, everyone. What a cool experience!

It was definitely a scary experience, but I was so grateful for the staff who made this experience unforgettable for my family. My daughter's dad has always wanted to skydive, so we surprised him for Father's Day. The staff at Skydive helped make this surprise even better through their great energy and good vibes. We felt so welcomed in their space.
Lucas was my jumper, and he made my experience better by reassuring me that everything would be okay. All the staff were funny, and helped calm my nerves!! I couldn't believe I had jumped out of a plane!!!

August 13th I did it. Always seen people floating down, as we would drive by in the car, I would always say "that looks like fun". WELL it was absolutely positively amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My tandum instructor, Hyder Ali, was very instructional and calming, I hope I didn't make his job too difficult. The photographer, Johnny, got some great pictures. Not knowing how they do their job, I got a slight nervous inside, cause this fellow was on his back and my instructor was holding his feet, all I could think was please flip over I don't want pictures , but he knows what he doing and is great at it. My daughter's did it too and they enjoyed it also. Skydive Indianapolis in Frankfort, did an amazing job,!!

My mother and I did our first jump together in memory of my brother who passed away unexpectedly earlier this year. We did the jump on his first birthday in heaven. The entire crew at Skydive Indianapolis made the experience a memorable one! They answered all of our questions and made us feel safe throughout the entire wait + jump!

We had a blast! Our appointment was at 4 and we got right in! Was done by 5! I'd say we stayed in the air what felt like 10mins or so the instructors were great! Johnny who was mine took me around the whole town it was so beautiful
They offer sugar free chocolates! They are delicious. You can watch the chocolate being made. They have so many options. We went around Easter time and there were so many bunnies and religious chocolates. The truffles were outstanding!

Best chocolate in Indiana! So many different choices, love the varieties. Went there for the first time to purchase a treat for a friend, walked out with several treats for myself also. Now my favorite new go-to place for exquisite chocolates and gifts.

We stopped here because of the signs on the highway and because we were sick of being in the car. What a great stop! We bought a sampler and a small box of truffles and everything was so good! This store is definitely making some high-quality chocolate!

My favorite place for chocolate. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. We love watching them make chocolate in their mini factory. You can come and watch through the windows during the week. Tuesdays are best to see the production. What a great place for treats and gifts. They are open on Saturdays as well.

Cute and quaint chocolate shop! Sooo many choices! Every possible type of chocolate candy and confection you can imagine! You are able to see into the area where the chocolate is being made. I bought 1 preboxed and selected my own custom assortment from the case. Definitely recommend.

Great assortment of chocolates to choose from. The lady who helped us was so friendly. If you're traveling 65 or being around Lebanon, you should stop. Exit 139 next to Flying J truck stop.

Monday 3:30pm. Not busy. First visit.
Small 50 year old chocolate shop where you can see the chocolate being made. A lot of variety from dark chocolate to white chocolate. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I got a small 1/4 lb box of a white chocolate variety. (9.95+tax). They have larger size as well. I also picked up a white chocolate bar $7.95. Boyfriend got box of truffles for $27.50.
The cashier upsold us on the white chocolate pretzels. Delicious!! They also had dark and milk chocolate pretzels.
If you think chocolate is just chocolate, then you won't enjoy this place like I did, but if you know a good chocolate when you taste it, go in and get some. They have samples as well. I enjoyed all the chocolates that we purchased.

I want to give it 5, but the prices are just too high. $40 per lb for chocolate is just way too absorbent. And there really are only a few kinds they sell here that I like.
Eagle Creek Park is a huge park located in Indianapolis, Indiana. It has plenty of trails and activities for tourists to enjoy, such as hiking, biking, fishing and more.
Many great areas for hikes. Small lake has path around. I liked the idea of a ropes type area, often not seen in a park. Also have nature center and a very unusual climbing structure. Beautiful place to see fall colors! Lots of picnic areas and ramadas. Canoe, kayak and pontoon rentals. This place has it all!
Barbara Hass — Google review
A great place to hike! Visited the place around 5:30 late in the evening and it was lovely! The weather was lovely and we did the blue trail which was around 3.25 miles and it covered the Lilly pond and one other which where lovely!
One should definitely plan a picnic or sorts and the place has great infrastructure for the same as well! Must visit if in the area.
Entrance: For people in and around the place it’s $5 and if there is someone not from the nearby county it’s $6. Usually North gate is the place you end up at if you coming from the state highway. Do get a map at the gate for better navigation
Trails: As I explored it on foot, we understood that there were three trails for hiking. The longest was around 5 miles (blue trail); followed by red trail around 3.25 miles ans the smallest being green of approx 2 miles There is a great trail for biking as well.

A very beautiful getaway in Indianapolis. I loved seeing eagles, deer, and goldfinches on my weekend runs quite a few years back. For that reason I visit on occasion to get some photos in. Excellent views, plenty of miles to run, and overall a very clean park.

Fabulous morning on the trails. Lots of sceneries, emerald green forest, summer smells and birds voices, a lots of water views . Fun for getting out in nature.

I am surprised I had not been to this park until recently. It seems peace and natural beauty can be found in central Indiana, assuming you do not mind the occasional plane engine or jet noise fading in and out overhead. It is dog friendly, has restrooms readily available, and the cleanliness stands out the most. Unfortunately, this park does not allow bikes on trails. For those who ride MTB, we are stuck with either driving to Brown County Park or using the local Town Run Trail Park for our fix.

I had an incredible experience at Eagle Creek Park! The walkable and runnable trails allowed me to immerse myself in nature while getting some exercise. There were numerous spots for breathtaking views and photography, making it a perfect destination for outdoor enthusiasts and photographers alike. Being surrounded by the beauty of nature at this park is rejuvenating. Get a yearly park pass—it’s worth the investment. Highly recommended.

I love Eagle Creek. What can I say? There are deer, birds, tons of options for trails, great views of the water. There aren't many strenuous hikes but, if you choose carefully, you can find a trail that isn't much-used and you won't pass another person. Great place for dogs on leashes, but be warned that the large deer population means ticks are rampant-- check yourself and your furry friends if you visit!

This park is one of mine and my families' favorite places to hike. 🩷 Next weekend, we're going to traverse onto the lake and maybe do some fishing. The trails are beautiful and ongoing, I could stay out there for hours. It's a perfect place to work on some photography. 📸

What an absolutely amazing Park. It's always well taken care of the layout of the hiking trails are very nice and the map is amazing we have been to several parks we're hiking is extremely hard because the map is not laid out right and you can get lost easily. Eagle Creek is not one of those parks I highly recommend if you get a chance to come here especially if you're a photographer the wildlife is amazing the bird sanctuary is beautiful.

Far exceeded my expectations! In town for a conference & had some extra time. Started on the red loop (6 miles). Stopped at the marina & saw they had kayaks to rent, so did that for 2 hours. Saw a ton of birds & turtles. Finished with the rest of the red loop. Marina has a good selection of drinks & snacks. Water faucets scattered throughout the park. Highly recommend!

We're here for the eclipse. A lot of of the restrooms have just been opened up and not fully cleaned yet (they did warn us), but they did set up porto potties that seem clean and functional. It's early season for parks, but everything seems pretty well maintained. Several nice playgrounds, trails, picnic areas. A bit muddy in the areas, but it's spring - that's what parks are like this time of year.

Beautiful park with such a variety of things to do and places to explore. Paved trails or wooded trails, wooded hikes or by the water hikes, and so much more!
Susan Fox — Google review
This park is one of Indy's best gems. Miles of wooded, dirt paths wind you through pines and other new and old-growth trees. I love that they pepper benches through at beautiful overlooks around the trail that goes around the Ornithology Center. There are miles of marked trails, though they can be a little confusing sometimes. You can always just make your way back to the water. There are also kayak rentals and a launch point. It's a beautiful place.

I visited the park during the 2024 eclipse and had a fantastic experience. All of the staff were so nice and helpful. This park is beautiful and it was fun driving thru the property to see everything that was there. The night before the eclipse, the park manager sent out an email with addresses, important information, and even a video of a staff member driving to the park to make it clear where to go. This was a really nice touch, their effort to go above and beyond made for a really great experience. Thank you!

We are so lucky to have this beautiful park full of great hiking, birds (eagles, owls, pileated woodpeckers….), and spectacular views. Stop by for a picnic or a hike if you are passing through.
Wonderful and clean place. The fields are very nice and so well made. The parking is easy to get into and nice indoor facility. Came here for a tournament in 2023 and loved every minute of it. The fields and goals are in pristine shape and I could say the same about the training camp and indoor facility
Henry Southworth — Google review
Very nice and large complex. The parking for large events is not very good. The seating for volleyball tournaments is absolutely horrible. For some of the courts you have to look over a court right in front of you to see the other court that is 40 yards away. Sitting on top of each other watching different courts is ridiculous as well. Hope I never have to come back here again for volleyball. Very poorly laid out.

It's a massive venue with fields indoors and outdoors for all types of sports (soccer, baseball, ultimate frisbee, etc). It was pretty easy to get in and out of, even with the many cars scattered throughout different lots. The main fieldhouse is very nice and the bleachers offered great views of the indoor field. The only suggestion I would have is to bring a seat cushion as the bleachers can get uncomfortable.

Review: Grand Park Sports CampusThe Grand Park Sports Campus offers a well-organized and accessible venue for soccer enthusiasts, with its neatly laid out fields making navigation straightforward. However, a notable downside detracts from the overall experience—the challenging road conditions leading to the campus.
Pros: The campus layout is user-friendly, making it easy for visitors to locate soccer fields efficiently. The sports facilities are well-maintained and suitable for various activities.
Cons: The roads leading to the campus are subpar, especially during busy weekends, posing difficulties for drivers. The narrow roads can barely accommodate two passing vehicles comfortably, leading to potential congestion and delays.
Overall, the Grand Park Sports Campus shows promise as a premier sports destination, offering excellent amenities and a conducive environment for soccer. However, addressing the road conditions would significantly enhance the overall experience, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable visit for all attendees.

Grand Park Sports Campus truly stands out as a gem for sports enthusiasts and families alike. The fields are top-notch, well maintained and offer a wide variety of sports. They are constantly improving or redoing playing surfaces / refilling crumb rubber or actual turf on the turf fields, resting grass fields so they re grow and more. While the City owns the park, you have actual sports operators in charge of a lot of operations too so the emphasis on quality fields or current updates is not lost - which is apparent versus other places often run exclusively by municipalities which may sacrifice funds for this or reduce their importance in favor of other initiatives.
What really sets this place apart is the dedicated and friendly staff, always ready to assist and enhance the experience. Bullpen / GP folks are helpful despite the expansive setting - Hamilton county tourism has a great app as well with nearby things, events, restaurants, discounts etc.
The ongoing developments are impressive, hinting at an even brighter future for this venue. It's exciting to witness the transformation, making it not just a sports complex but a true destination for families, especially during weeklong tournaments. There's a unique energy here that keeps everyone engaged and close to so much.
Friends of ours stayed at the Chatham Hills guest house located on a private golf course about a mile away ~ great to be so close for all and have amenities, friends etc nearby.
Lastly, love the proximity of the Monon Trail! Whether you're into running or cycling, it's the perfect way to unwind or get some exercise between games. (Bikes aren’t permitted in GP itself) The trail offers a beautiful route all the way to downtown Indianapolis, perfect for those with some extra time.
If you’re there in later July / August, The highlight for many, is the Colts Training Camp. Held during one of the tournaments, it added an extra layer of excitement. The fact that it's free (with an online ticket) is amazing. The variety of activities for kids, like speed games and jumping, is impressive. Plus, the chance to be so close to the players adds a touch of magic to the experience. The Colts were scrimmaging the Bears ~ which was awesome to see.
Lastly ~ pets are not permitted in the park but we noticed there is a nearby Barkefellers to take animals to if traveling or leave at home :)

This is a review of the outdoor fields. Had a lacrosse tournament here and was impressed with how well the grass fields were maintained, they weren’t “potted” and a hazard to players. The parking was well placed around the different field “zones” and the zones were well marked from the street and easy to find. The bathrooms were clean and the concession staff were friendly. There are hotels and a good variety of restaurants not too far. One negative is the staff could’ve done a better job emptying the trash more frequently as it piled up quick and was blowing around the fields a bit.

Pete Shier — Google review
This place is really nice. The fields we played on this trip were all turf but the grass fields still looked to be in great shape. We also played on the indoor (outdoor sized) soccer field today and it was great.
The one negative for this facility is that none of the fields have score board in operation and this has been true every time we have been here.
James Wilson — Google review
They care more about yelling at us to try to close their broken gates vs correct calls.
They love to play superior in the minds of young kids. This is about growth, not young umpires egos.
We pay a lot to play in these tournaments and then pay again to watch our kids.
Your excuses need to go back to your bad management!!!
If you can't run a business, then don't!
Urban Vines is one of our favorite places in Indy to meet up with friends! It’s super pretty, first of all. There is plenty of room outside to spread out, with lots of seating by the building and then more picnic tables and chairs further out towards the vineyards and pond. We usually go to catch up, and it’s so nice to be able to have somewhere to sit and relax and talk at normal volume. The events like trivia and live music always look like they’re super fun, and seem like they get just the right size crowd for the space. Highly recommend the Catawba wine (or any of the slushies) if you like sweet wines! I also love love the margarita pizza. Honestly, just everything I’ve had there is pretty great! The staff is also super friendly too, and willing to make recommendations. Definitely stop by if you are in the area!

The igloos are a good vibe! You get a 2 hour window which is plenty of time to enjoy some wine and food. We tried the appetizers today and they were delicious so I’m assuming the other food is just as good. Super nice staff. Good prices. More of a “suburban” feel than “urban” but it’s cute and I’d definitely be back if I lived closer! Def worth a try if your up north!

Let’s talk about midwestern hospitality, you’re immediately greeted from the second you walk in from the time you’re seated at your table.
Me and the wife sat for a wine tasting and we were beyond blessed to have Ryan as our wine expert, though if you ask him, he’ll humbly reply that “he’s not much of an expert.” His level of attentiveness, understanding of the product, and ability to relate to others differentiates him from his peers. He was genuinely a wonderful human to spend time with.
If you’re in the area, and want outstanding service, personalized conversation, and a bubbly that would put most commercial retailers out of business, I urge you to come in, and to ask for Ryan.
From BMX to wine, from growing up and pulling experiences from Indianapolis to Australia, this place far exceeds 5 stars.

My wife went into Urban Vines to purchase a few bottles of wine. She wasn’t greeted when she walked in, only given a silent glare. Nora Z. (per the receipt) assisted her with the purchase. My wife asked if their website showed the same wine flavors as in store, she says no it’s only for shipping. It would have been kind of her to say the TASTING ROOM Menu- that’s online as well, is what shows what’s in store. We were looking for Lollipop and Wine a Rita Peach. She was not helpful in making recommendations of alternate wines. She did mention that the Cotton Candy flavor wine was 50% off. Her tone was very short and uninterested. Not very helpful at all.
Next time we’ll just have them shipped to us.

We had such a lovely time visiting Urban Vines! The property is beautiful, the food/drinks were delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We went with a group of friends and everyone had such a nice relaxing time. I don't normally venture out to restaurants with my kids but the playground was a wonderful option and we were able to relax and enjoy food/drinks while the kids played. The playground is off to the side with great seating options that allowed us to enjoy our adult time while still watching the kids, but the property is large enough that visitors without kids can be completely separated from that area if they choose. They also had great food choices for both kids and adults. I've recommended this place to friends with and without kids and they really do tick all the boxes!

I am the Director of Development for a Central Indiana nonprofit. Urban Vines has been a great help to us this year as we get ready to put on our annual fundraiser to support youth in schools. I would recommend working with them to other nonprofit organizations, and encourage everyone else to stop out for a visit to a winery that cares about the community. In the past, I've had their wine at events in the community and definitely enjoyed it.

I visited here because my friend recommended. I browsed here through the reviews and pictures. It looked great and now I am feeling good enough. But there was an issue of construction on the road. I think it might be the pavement renewal. The smell from there made my companions and me unpleasant. So I couldn’t stay there than what I hoped. Anyway I hope it would be okay when I would visit again. The wines were super good. And I love the olives. It tasted awesome.
