Nice clean and very friendly. Actually my first time to a casino. Lots of spaces to park and some spaces is far away. I ran upon a elderly lady and her daughters hit 500 dollars. That was my excitement for the night. I play a couple machines but eventually lost my budget, but it's okay. They had a live band there and it was full of people. I would go again.

Hands down the worst casino and hotel I've been to. Definitely look elsewhere for group outings. Not a single one of my friends enjoyed anything about this establishment. Take your money to Ohio, you'll have better luck with having a good time.

Better only bring 1 bag cause supposedly they only have 3 carts. Food is expensive for fast food no Buffet no coffee maker in the room. Breakfast food was cereal ,oatmeal, muffins HARD BOILED EGGS , YOGURT coffee n juice Real appetizing . Maintenance man Donald was the BIGGEST HELP than anyone thank goodness rooms were nice and 99 bucks . Was a special weekend to celebrate the wife’s cancer battle was over and she won she wanted to go to the casino in the morning but we left because we were hungry n didn’t want to go eat and come back later. Guess we will go to Charles town one day.

Access to the casino was convenient and easy to navigate. We stopped twice and our experience at the casino and resort was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the accommodations were excellent and the slot machines were a lot of fun. Best of all we left with some money in our pockets!! I recommend checking it out if you are interested in this type of activity.

We had a great time! Such a fun place! Everyone was friendly. The dealer Leonard was helpful and friendly...which made his table a fun one to play at! There was a lady dealer who was very friendly & fun also but I can't member her name. We will be back!!

The staff is amazing, from the front desk to the casino security, everyone is friendly and helpful. The carpet in the rooms is really stained, and the chair wasn't in good repair. There is no coffee pot in the room! The AC worked well, and the cleaning crew was really helpful and nice! The rooms could use an upgrade for sure!

Our first time here, and we a blast! I can't comment on the rooms because I didn't stay in one. All of the employees were super nice and helpful. I won on the slots with my husband sitting next to me for good luck! Also, when we signed up for gamers cards, we won awesome prizes on scratch off tickets. The side of the casino where they used to allow smoking smells ultra funky, so I would stick to the newer side near Cafe Orleans. The food and service at Cafe Orleans were great! We had so much fun! We will be back!

Most unwelcoming staff. We arrived earlier than expected. As it was a Sunday we thought maybe we could check in early. The young lady at the desk was very rude and sent us away with only no check in till 3pm. Came.back at 2:45 and she looked at us and said it's not 3. We had to stand there along with other that told the same story until exactly 3pm. Then because I booked though the website they couldn't find my reservation. Had to show my email to prove I had.a reservation. There are no coffee pots in the room, the tub didn't drain well so you had to stand in 2 inches of water when you showered and the only one floor had a vending machine and it didn't work. The casino was fine, the food at Cafe Orleans was very good. Just don't think the hotel hastle is worth it. Will not be back.

Always a great time from what I can see. They have amazing meals pretty much 24 seven the walk up meals are great and they have a lot of good offerings from fruit to cinnamon rolls to club sandwiches and everything you can think of to drink. I am not a drinker myself, but from what I can see they have an amazing bar they also offer Very high standard rooms to stay in and I look forward to being in one

What a terrible place! The food was limited to the cafe, it was HORRIBLE! Over cooked dried out fries. The Reuben sandwich was just dry and nasty. The only bar open was out of a lot of liquor. In the three hours I was in there I didn’t see or hear of any hand pays. No music in the background. The ONLY good I can say is it was clean and smoke free. Not sure how they stay in business!

Always have a great time at the casino, and enjoy trying all the different games they offer!! Food is always fresh and terrific from the restaurant also. Makes an enjoyable trip!!

This casino and resort is very nice. It is decorated up like the French Quarter which is neat. We have been there a few times and we enjoy the casino, the live dog races, and the rooms. The food court has a wide variety of sandwiches, sides, and lots of other options and always made fresh. The bar is very generous with their drinks and very friendly. The hotel rooms are HUGE! And so is the bathroom. The only reason that I gave the rooms 3 stars rather than 5 this time is because when we got to our room the trash and towels from the previous guest were still in the room. We took care of it ourselves and did not feel that it needed to be addressed to staff since this has been the only time it has happened. I wouldn't let that deter you from staying here because it is really nice.

Stopped in this venue in July of 2023 and found a diamond in the rough for sure:
The Good: Casino is small but is clean and has enough room for plenty of the latest slots. Machines are very generous as compared to other casinos in this region. Good selection of the newest games. High limit room had limited number of offerings but enough to keep me interested. Hand pays were quick and friendly.
Black jack rules are player favorable as compared to a lot of places in this day and age. Dealers and pit bosses were very engaging and I enjoyed my time on the tables.
Hosting is great. I was coming from a sister property and Todd did a bang up job of setting the trip up from F&B to room comps. Thanks Todd!
Staff was very friendly...everyone there was friendly... security, slot attendants, housekeeping, player's club attendants, beverage servers, bartenders...even the other players were very easy going and friendly. Very welcoming place for sure.
Food options in the cafeteria were good for that type of venue. Gentlemen working the queue on Sunday were friendly and appreciative of gratuities. The French Quarter was great too!
The Not so Good: I bunked in the "Executive Suite" on the first floor. The hot tub was disconnected and the bathroom could use a serious update. It is LOUD in the room. You can hear every conversation, pin drop, phone ring and person in the hallway (and this is the last room in the hall). The bed was comfortable and there was seating and available work space that made the room workable for sure. The noise though...
A nice, inviting place overall that I am looking forward to returning to sooner than later.

Can you say LOSER. Parking lot full of cars of losers. Games terrible. They can't even put syrup in coke. No coffee.Heard one player say they lost 35,000 in 3 day stay. My game paid 1.80 on bonus round of 8 spins. Do what I'm doing. Stop going. Got demoted from a black diamond to a ruby because playing is abysmal.
David Log — Google review
Atmosphere was nice, rooms clean, bed was hard, and the walls were very thin. You can hear everyone talking. Felt very safe with all the security guards around. Food was good and the slots paid out.

Loved the energy from the poker room staff! Hotel room was awful! There were cigarette ashes left on the window sill and it was a non smoking room. There was a large pile of used sheets and towels in the closet. Gross! Wife and I also found black mold in the shower. Again, Gross! Casino floor, table games and poker room were all good. Hotel room not so much.
Michael Bolton — Google review
Decent casino, offers everything from slots to tables and has a poker room. Food choices are good. Hotel is a bit dated but clean.
Alex Coughlin — Google review
Very clean and well spaced machines, loved the selection. Had the lobster bisque at The French Quarter, it was very very good. Was disappointed that the smoking area outside had no seating or overhead cover. No heaters or accommodations for customers. Since there is no smoking in the Casino the least that could be done is make the smoking area look alot less like a prison yard. There was no place to stand or sit covered from the rain or elements. I am not a complainer, but this was unacceptable when the goal is to have a good time and enjoy yourself. Don't be punished for enjoying one vice while being expected to spend money on another. Wake up and pay attention to your audience.

Just at casino, great games. Good selection. Clean, but bathrooms need help , locks broke on doors, soap dispensers don't work, floors sticky.
Museum devoted to the Mothman, a local legend, featuring press clippings, documents & memorabilia.
- a really cool museum to look around and they have a cool gift shop as well with stickers, shirts, books, mugs, and lots of other things.
- prices for Merchandise not bad at all and the prices to get into the museum is $4 a person.
- place was clean and organized.
- staff were really friendly and had good attitudes.
- parking pretty easy to find in the area.
- lots of cool things in the area around the museum as well to see and check out.
- overall a cool experience and I would definitely recommend this location.

Came here a few years ago and back again today! I think this is a neat small town gem. 4 bucks a person to get in to the museum which isn't anything super spectacular. Merchandise seems to have gone up some in price. The statue is really cool but not as big as you might think. Don't miss out on the river walk while you're there it's beautiful on a nice day and the area of the first sighting! The other shops are nice as well. A lot of history in this small town.

Very interesting place! <--- geared more for adults... with that in mind!! The store next door was amazing and kid friendly! There also was a coffee shop across the street with mothman shaped cookies. Definitely worth checking out ! Alot of little jewels in one tiny spot!

I visited today when I was driving through town. There was plenty of parking out front. Interested I was greeted by the friendly staff. I didn't go into the museum because I was short on time. The gift shop has a lot of cool items, just about everything you could imagine from T-shirts to buttons. They had interviews playing over the speakers. It was interesting to listen to. I definitely recommend visiting. It's so completely different from anything else I've experienced.

This is so amazing. I played the video game FO76, where the Mothman is a big thing, and never realized the Mothman museum was real. I'm so happy we stopped, the museum is short and small with a lot of authentic historical collections. Was only $4.50 to explore the museum too! Very fun. The gift shop was definitely the best part! They had reasonably priced stuff and there was something for everyone.
Carrie Watson — Google review
Really interesting, fun and informative museum and gift shop. The story of the Mothman is curated very well with firsthand accounts from witnesses, published articles, and memorabilia.
I highly recommend the tour as well as it takes you to the TNT site and other historical points of interest in and around Point Pleasant.
Very friendly owners and staff. Highly recommended for all ages.

My Dad, who grew up in WV, always said we should check this out one day and we did. It is definitely a tourist stop more than anything, but the museum itself has a ton of historical information as well. It is worth the money to walk through it. Point Pleasant is a pretty cute town that sits right on the Ohio River. There is also a nice park a block away where you can walk down by the river.
Lauren Delgado — Google review
Fun little museum. Information, costumes, documentaries playing on the tvs and a little gift shop with shirt and more. I think it's a tourist thing but I enjoyed it! I would say needs to be experienced at least once.

This has been on my list of places to visit for a long time. Not only was it everything I hoped for with the museum, but there was plenty of merchandise variety for any budget. The staff was helpful and friendly. Next time, I hope to go to the festival. Check it out if you haven't. A must-see for any cryptid enthusiasts.

This museum is one of the most unique museums I’ve been to! For a really inexpensive admission price, you get to learn more about the history of this Ohio River town and it’s connection to Mothman and strange occurrences that have happened in town. There are also set pieces from the movie The Mothman Prophecies. Make sure to check out all the cool souvenirs at the front of the museum! Nearby stores offer some cool gifts too.

Went there last Saturday, cool place to check out, if you are intrigued by the mothman, like I am!! Went there with a close friend, had fun. People were very nice there. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will like to visit again

I remember watching a documentary of the Mothman some time ago and was very happy to find out that this place was near were we where staying this past weekend.
Yes it is small and the admission was only $4.50 so from what I remembered from that documentary this stop was well worth it.
Clean and with plenty of newspaper clippings posted to read up on actual sightings of this creature.
There us also the Silver Bridge issue that I remember reading about.
Those two things are well worth the stop in town but the beauty of this place is just beyond the seawall.
William Haugh — Google review
Visited early during the day when the festival was finishing setting up in 2022. Mothman is one of my top fav cryptids and finally getting to visit the museum, statue and site of where the Silver Bridge once stood was the highlight of my 2022. Incredible memorabilia and history in the museum, very friendly staff and a great gift shop. Definitely one of a kind place and experience. Take your time going through the museum because there are tons of things to see. Definitely plan to come back here in the near future!

To be perfectly honest I don't believe in the Mothman... But I do know as a West Virginia native...That the collapsing of the silver bridge in that time affected many people's lives... They even went on to make a movie about it called The Mothman Prophecies starring Richard Gere... Which is set in this little town Pt.Pleasant West Virginia... As well as this unique one-of-a-kind Mothman museum... It is very interesting in this place.. lots of old news articles of the time the silver bridge collapsed and the Mothman conspiracy... As well as movie props from The Mothman Prophecies movie... There is also souvenirs that you can buy... If you're ever visiting West Virginia you might want to check out this unique and very interesting place.

This would be a great experience if you get the chance to come to West Virginia. Our friends invited us for Thanksgiving, so we came up from Florida and wanted to find something interesting in the area. Well low and behold, we found the statue and the museum. We had watched a program on Mothman. This is fantastic 👏, it was so great that even their teenage kids wanted to see Mothman 👀. Fantastic time for family and friends 😀 ❤️. Great staff also.

The museum is full of news articles, and tons of info on the Mothman sightings, Silver Bridge disaster and men in black. Was the Mothman real, stop at the museum and decide for yourself. It’s a tourist trap but It’s worth the walk through. Gift shop has great Mothman souvenirs. Point Pleasant has other things worth checking out.

This is the Mecca of everything Mothman. The official Mothman Museum in located in Point Pleasant WV. It has everything about the Silver Bridge collapse, the police reports, the audio tapes & props used in the “mothman Prophecies” movie. Once you’ve made your way through the museum you can enjoy the gift shop. I did pick up a few things to commentate my visit here. Parking wasn’t an issue, lots of street parking available. I recommend visiting the Mothman Museum when the Mothman festival isn’t going on. During the festival the line wraps all the way around the building. So, if you love the Mothman, this place is for you!

Honestly a fun place to visit, some cool merch in the store and interesting bits and pieces to learn in the museum, sure it's small and a bit crazy but that adds to the charm and what do you expect for 5 bucks? Loved it.

The sole house of worship dedicated to the most holy prophet of doom and dark portent. Oh, glorious Mothman, it of the powdery wing, it of the prescient red eyes, it of the dying bridges between river and night, bless us with your counseling countenance.
The gift shop had cool t shirt designs and fun stickers! High recommended.

Super, super cool spot. Was way more intense and in-depth than I anticipated. If you're able, take the tour that also incorporates museum entrance. Ours was given by the owner of the museum and last almost 2 hours, was really in-depth and informative, and gave me an entirely different perspective on both the myth and the city itself. Such a cool experience.
Jared Bowers — Google review
This was an awesome place to visit, totally worth the price of admission. Even if you have no interest in the mothman this is worth going out of your way for, it appeals not only to cryptozoology but history. It has various artifacts from the history of the mothman and movie props and books. The amount of information, articles and artifacts that are presented are hard to cover in a quick trip, but they cover the men in black and other things, I'd recommend going even if you're just gonna go for the gift shop. The gift shop is really good, they have just about anything you or a mothman fan are looking for. The next time I head in the direction of Point Pleasant, it will be a stop I am going to make again.

Super fun place! My daughter loved it as this is one of the creatures that interests her! Loved the history they had, pictures, movie pieces, and souvenirs!
I love the seats in the theater. Getting snacks was quick and easy. The only thing was not having the lights turned off during previews. It was hard to see them. I did enjoy my experience though.

Pullman Square has always been one of our favorite places to go for an afternoon or an evening out. Great shops and food offerings are all there and within walking distance, plus you can always take the escalator up and catch a movie. We love going to Pullman any chance we get.

We have done business with a few businesses within the square. It's a real shame there is no public restrooms. We went and watched a late movie to kill time before fireworks. When we got out and went to use the elevator it would not run. So here we are with our daughter in a wheelchair with no way down. 😡 We waited for someone from maintenance for about 30 minutes. No one ever showed. Luckily we found the service elevator. It was horribly stinky and on the other side from the accessible parking spots where we were parked. So we had to push our daughter up the garage ramp. So we missed the fireworks. Such a disappointment. Definitely will reconsider before going back.

We really enjoyed ourselves. We started our night out by playing old to newer video games. A lot of fun and most of them are free 😁. Then we went to eat dinner at a Japanese/ hibachis and Thai food. Then to finish her night up we watch the 9:50 movie 🍿🎥. The machine!! It was great fun I'd recommend it to anybody. There's plenty to do in Pullman and Starbucks and dog cookies 🍪 are right there at the in square.

I love going to Pullman Square. Whether I want to go see a movie, get some ice cream, go to the restaurant called roosters, or just simply go to the GameStop that's down the road just a little bit in that shopping center. There's all kinds of things to do in Pullman Square. They also have live concerts there during the summer. They do all kinds of events down there like the Hot Dog Festival, the Chili Festival. I really never surprised me when I go down there anymore that there's always something going on but like I said there's so much to do and it's really a lot of fun when I go down there all the time.

They have some nice shops in the area and I feel safe when I'm there. However, They let people park in the bus lane behind the stage, which is really frustrating as I have a hard time catching the bus when my bus unable to get to the bus stop I'm waiting at.

Went to the chili fest last weekend and had a blast! Good chili, entertainment and lemonade. There were even face painting and jumpy slide castles. Games and popcorn.
Amusement park with a carousel, haunted house & other kid-centric activities in an outdoor space.
Camden Park was the first ever amusment park I ever went to, and now I an an adult and went again at the end of summer; I forgot how amazing it feels to smell the funnel cakes, and fly down the big dipper so fast your whole body leaves the seats.
Honestly, its not a fancy theme park. It's a dinky old family fun place. If your old fashioned fun, you will love it. Plus, there rarely are any lines except at 1 or 2 food stands. Most of the time you can walk up to a ride and be on and ready to ride quicker than it takes to walk through the ropes for possible lines.
•Nifty Little Fact: The Big Dipper is one of the last all wooden roller coasters that is still up and running, and honestly, that alone is super cool, I think.
Chynna Bolen — Google review
Overall the park is affordable, has short lines, and could use some updates. The rides are a little sketchy but operated well. I recommend the train ride but they could make the scenery for this ride more attractive. The log ride is always fun especially during the summer months. It was a good day trip and may return someday.
Cj Sizemore — Google review
Camden Park is worth a visit and while its no Cedar Point or Kings Island its still a pretty good time. I will say while on our visit several of the rides were not open which was a bit of a let down.
Parking is $5 and admission is $21 per person. The soft serve ice cream is very refreshing.

Great family owned amusement park. It may not be the newest or shiniest, but it certainly is classic. Great classic rides. Roller coasters for kids of all ages. Pronto Pups are amazing! Ride Big Dipper in the back seat for one of the wildest rides around.

Great little amusement park. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. Don't expect anything fancy here, but the customer service was great. All the rides were operating with a fast turnaround time. We had lunch there and the food was really tasty. Prices were a lot cheaper then all the other larger amusement park chains. It's a little run down but the atmosphere is awesome. I'm sure you will enjoy it for the price.

Camden Park is a small, family oriented theme park. If you are looking for giant giga-coasters and thrill rides, this place isn't for you. If you are looking to have a fun and relaxed afternoon with your family, THIS IS THE SPOT! The park is affordable even for a large family. There are plenty of things to do and rides to enjoy. Park is as clean as any other amusement park, and the restrooms are acceptable. Food served in the park is decent and not too expensive. Lines are short and move quickly.

Our family loves coming here each summer. It’s super affordable. We pack our cooler and go eat lunch at the truck. They stamp your hand and you can leave and come back as often as you want. Water is free in the park. But food cost really isn’t that bad on our trips we want to splurge we never spend more than 50 for 4 to eat what they want. We only do Snow cones and water on these days because of the heat and how active we are when there. They have some amazing snow cones. Didn’t grab a picture last time forgot! Lol

Worth every penny. Had an awesome time. The water log roller-coaster was my favorite thing there. (Tip ride in back if you don't want to get wet) with that being said my wife definitely rode up front 😂.
Kirby Est 1996 — Google review
The rides were great. NEED A UPDATE!!! Some of the rides you can hear cracking, they definitely need to upgrade on the rides and park. $8 for parking. 18.99 for everyone if you get it online. I got to skip the long line for the ticket booth, so that was great.
Sat is $24.99. Sun is $22.99 if you do decide to wait in line. Water inside the park was $4 & pop was $4.25 (I think)
It's more of a theme park for kids than it's for teens and adults.
It said no smoking, but I saw a lot of people smoking vapes & cigarettes.
No outside drinks or food. Gotta rent a booth, and it's $10 or $15, I believe.
Had a great time.

You can spend 2-3 hours at this park and get everything done you want….we usually go in the evenings for starlight pricing (discounted), but if we go during the daytime, we print a coupon ahead of time off the website. $5 off per person - one coupon good for 4 people. Camden Park is per my family “a national treasure”. It’s a small park without all the pomp and circumstance but it is charming for that reason too. The Haunted House is classic and has had a wonderful revamp - it looks so good now! I’m so thankful and happy they were able to put the time and money into giving it the facelift it needed! They are repairing The Big Dipper now too - so we didn’t get to ride it, but we are excited to see the improvements being made on it too. These two rides alone are truly national treasures as they are some of the most historical rides in the country. Be sure to get a pronto pup (corn dog) while you’re there and don’t count out their milkshakes (some of the best we have ever had)!!
Small crowds and short wait times
We closed the park down last night so we were able to get some great photos of the Haunted House!

We always have a wonderful family day every time we go. There could be more games for the kids to play. The rides could be better maintained every time we go the big dipper is closed for repairs. They could add a few more rides.

Rides, for all ages. We always have a great time at Camden park. Been going since a young child. Wish they would rebuild a new roller coaster! It's time!
I visited Cedar Falls and Whispering Falls after heavy rains the last day and a half. I started at Cedar Falls and took the Gorge Trail for about a mile and a half and came back to Cedar Falls. Aside from some mud, the trail wasn't too bad. I've always visited Hocking Hills State Park on non rainy days. It's beautiful anytime but seeing the falls and the swiftness of the creek with a much higher volume of water just added to the beauty of this incredible state park.

Awesome place to walk, hike, and relax. Peaceful and surprisingly clean. Not too busy compared to Old Man’s Cave which you can get to from here but its over 3 miles hike.
Trails are easy. My 4, 8, & 11 yr old had no problem climbing and walking down the trials.
Water fall is awesome. Cool and clear water.
Overall experience was very enjoyable.

Visited on a Friday about 1030a. The parking lot was only about half full, it was getting busy but not yet crowded. The falls are only roughly a half mile from the parking lot. There's stairs and narrow rocky path to walk through to the falls so be careful if you're not too steady. Right before the main parking lot there's a drive off with like 8 spots and that's actually at the top of the falls and you can go down around some wood stairs to it as well to avoid the rocky path part.

Beautiful little hike, best after a hard summer rain, when it's not too cold to get your feet wet - spring is also beautiful, just a bit more chilly. The "Hidden Falls" are also beautiful during or after a good rain, small curtain back to the right off the trail, have included 2 pictures of Cedar falls - one with more water is during spring right after a good rainfall, other is in august when it's been dry for a while,

Gotta appreciate the beauty of the Hocking Hills. Cedar falls is usually the biggest and baddest waterfall in the area. Unfortunately on the October day I stopped, it was barely flowing at all due to lack of rain obviously. Not a bad trek to get to. About a 15 minute round trip from parking lot to falls area.

Gorgeous spot in Hocking Hills, well maintained trails leading up to it and connecting it to other parts of the park. Definitely one of the highlights of the whole park and not to be missed, especially refreshing on a hot day!

We loved our visit to the cedar falls! We didn’t realize we had to climb down stairs but these were not difficult stairs to climb. I loved how scenic it was and s as a family we had lots of fun.

Beautiful water fall. Sign for parking lot could be better. Lots of stairs. I'm not the most fit, but was able to make it down and back ok. A walking stick would have been helpful. Didn't see any toilets nearby, so find a restroom first.

Breathtakingly beautiful! A little hard on the knees (age related) but totally worth it. Pictures just don't due it justice, the place needs to be felt and appreciated by all the senses.

This trail started off ok. It started off with steps downhill, and there are a lot of small rocks all over the steps. Be careful if you have stability concerns. The first water area had a dry up waterfall... no waterfall. There are a lot of rocks by and in the water. The trail goes by some beautiful huge rocks, boulders on both sides then eventually another waterfall. This one is pretty, shaped like a flower. This is where most people hung out with their kids and dogs. Then the trail continues and it got real narrow between huge boulders, my favorite part of the trail. Eventually, there are steps back up to the parking area. Once exited the trail, you will be at the beginning of the parking area. If you parked by the restrooms at the end of the parking area before circling around to the upper parking area, you will need to turn right for a short walk back to your car.

This is a well maintained trail with reasonably easy access to the falls. I only say reasonably because the first hill down to the bottom has a few stairs with odd spacing thar could be difficult for some people. The falls are very accessible when you arrive with the opportunity for some very nice pictures. Best advice would be to see the falls after it has rained as it seems to run a bit more then. There are restrooms available at the beginning of the trail with parking close by.

I recently visited the Cedar Falls in Logan, OH and it was a sight to see. The Cedar Falls trail is the smallest of the other trails located within Hocking Hills state park and perhaps the most impactful because of the interactive water fall that awaits its guests. There is a small lake to where the falls unite both the water element and human. You may get your feet wet or your entire body. Truly a magical place. Our four-legged friends are welcome. Parking is kind of tight. Nice wooden bridge like stairs called the Democracy Steps that leads to the exit. Great scenery!

It is a great easy trail to have a slow, leisurely hike enjoying nature. There are plenty of rock formations to see throughout the gorge and the occasional wildlife. This is one of the easier hikes in the park for those who have some difficulty in getting around or just want a leisurely stroll.

Cedar falls is a very short trail to see the beautiful rock walls and water fountain! This is definitely a beautiful site to see and a main attraction of Logan ohio. Cedar falls, ash cave, and old man’s cave bring tourists from all over to see the beautiful sights of Mother Nature at its finest. We had so much fun and definitely can’t wait to come back again.

Cedar Falls is the largest waterfall in the Hocking Hills and well worth a visit. The path that leads from the parking lot to the falls is fairly short. You should plan for about half an hour there if that's all you plan to do. However, the path does connect to the others in the park, such as Ash Cave and Old Man's Cave. Those would be a much longer hike, and do have their own respective parking lots if you're not interested in hiking those distances.

I thought this was a great trail, though part of it was closed for parking lot improvements. Nothing too difficult, my 6 and 9 year old loved it.
Enormous natural cavern with a waterfall surrounded by woodlands with hiking trails.
We put this on our "Might as well, it's only a little bit out of the way" list of places to visit in the way back from our Florida road trip -- and Wow, was I glad we did!
It's a Gorgeous place to go; our family enjoyed it even off-season in March. Beautiful waterfall and stream/river. Huuuge cliff/sorta-cave (doesn't wind and twist and turn and go deep into the earth like you might envision when you think of a cave; it's more of a Gigantic scenic overhang of rock - but Beautiful!).
Plenty of different places and angles to take awesome pictures with your loved ones. Very close to another trail/attraction just up the road, in the same state park.
Check it out - your family will thank you!

We have visited Ash Cave many times over the years and it always is beautiful no matter the time of the year. This is one of our favorite easy hikes in the Hocking Hills area. We like that the bottom path almost all the way back to the waterfall is paved and quite level. This makes it easily accessible for motorized scooters, wheelchairs and strollers. The park currently still has the one-way trail sign up however if you have mobility restrictions you can go out the same way you came back in. Otherwise the trail leads you up the stairs behind the waterfall and down the side of the hill. That complete hike gives you such a variety of scenery! Tip: when you get to the top of the stairs there’s a sign that says it’s a 2 mile hike to Cedar Falls. We have actually taken this hike it’s 4 miles round-trip and well worth it. But if you’re not up for that big of a hike still take a left and walk just a little tiny bit and you’ll be able to see the water before it flows over into the waterfall area.

Beautiful, easy walk to the cave. With a very worth it view. Would highly recommend and will return. If you take the ridge back, it isn't a medium hike. It just has a lot of stairs. The restrooms hlleave a lot to be desired. They are currently upgrading the parking area, so it may be on the docket.

This trail is great for kids five and younger. It is a short, shaded, flat concrete paved trail. There was a water fountain at the entrance. The tail loops around half is paved so if you have a wheelchair or stroller you can get to the destination and turn around and go back the way you came. After the falls you have the option to climb stairs and loop back to the entrance on a natural surface trail.

I loved this hike! It was very easy to get to and if you park at the closest parking lot the entire path there is paved so it is very accessible. If you want a more challenging hike you can reach Ash Cave from Cedar Falls if you go along the way there is an old fire watch tower you can climb for some great views!

Ash Cave is such a beautiful place! It was so amazing being there with ice and snow on everything. We took our daughters and puppies with us and they all had a great time.
Jonathon Wymer — Google review
Such a beautiful hike. I can see why it's one of the top sights in Hocking hills. Very accessible for strollers or those needing an easier walking trail. There's a paved path to the waterfall then the option to take that path back if you cannot take the more advanced path back (steep stairs and a trek in the woods).
I had a double stroller and one in our party has a cane and we thought it was a very nice time

Absolutely incredible place! Must visit if you’re in the area. Nice partially paved trails too the first half of the hike is almost handicapped accessible. Very easy hike. Just wish people would keep their reactive dogs and cigarettes at home… otherwise amazing natural wonder.

Ash Cave was my absolute favorite place that we visited during our time in Hocking Hills. One of the things that sets it apart from the other caves is its sheer size. It's absolutely massive and looks so cool with how it wraps around. And, just like some of the other caves, it has a small seasonal waterfall which just makes it that much more picture perfect. This is probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. If you're in Hocking Hills, you should definitely stop here.
Nick Gavio — Google review
Ash Cave was really cool. Arriving to Ash Cave, there are parking on both sides of the road but the one across the street has plenty of parking. Trails are easily accessible by all ages. Going into the cave the trails are almost paved but leaving the cave, you have to climb a little. But once in, the views and waterfall was amazing! The photos does do justice.

Ash Cave in Hocking Hills is a beautiful site! Open cave with a tall but low volume waterfall. Wheelchair accessible to a certain point along the gorge trail, less than a mile. Upper trail requires stairs. Parking is now across the road; large lot with wheelchair accessible bathrooms. Another busy point of interest in the area, may be crowded during warmer months.

I have done a lot of traveling and exploring. This is one of the more beautiful places I have been to. The winter features definitely enhance the experience. Wow!
Ric Ravier — Google review
The is one of the easiest hikes in Hocking Hills, but it is very beautiful and memorable. Quite a bit of the trail is handicap accessible. The cave is huge and beautiful, especially if there's been enough rain for the little waterfall to be active. There is a lot of history here too, from native American camps to pioneers giving sermons and manufacturing gunpowder. The Buckeye Trail, Grandma Gatewood Trail, North Country Trail, and American Discovery Trail all overlap and pass through here as well.

Beautiful walk (not a hike) that is 1.2 miles round trip. Definitely worth the wait and effort.
The acoustics near and around the cave are really interesting. Overall, a majestic feeling and experience. Kid- and dog-friendly, but keep them tethered.

A gorgeous nature outing that most individuals are capable of experiencing due to the relatively flat (in and also out) entrance. Was able to visit on a sunny, 60 degree or so day weekday around 4 pm—this was optimal time & weather for us since there was less of a crowd (still ample parking when arrived) and the air temperature was refreshing. I will say, the views & scenery are breathtaking! The dirt path to the cave has a small incline and some benches scattered throughout. Once you get to the cave you can either walk back out the same way, or go up a steep set of wooden steps (see picture). We opted to exit via the steps and go right towards the exit, which has a steady decline. You can go left after the stairs and hike a trail that continues. I would think you can bring your dog(s) for the hike—I didn’t notice signs saying you couldn’t. It’s a scenic site to visit, but I’d recommend going during an off peak time. I really enjoyed not being surround by a bunch of other visitors—it made the experience that much more great. Also, there are restrooms towards the beginning of the entrance.
Natalie D’Mello — Google review
Ash Cave is much smaller than Old Mans cave, but more majestical (and easier to access). The cave is a short 3 - 5 minute walk from the parking area and flat with little grade. When you arrive at the cave from the lower entrance it is an amazing site. You can hear voices echo from within and around. If you wonder within the cave you will see a simple water fall pending the stream above is flowing. Take some time and enjoy the massive size and views from within the cave. Feel the temperature of the walls, and sand at your feet. Relax and look out over the forest in front of you, find the birds and chipmunks as the gather their meals. If you feel up for the challenge, high up to the top and take the slow trail back to the parking lot.

Spooky trip:
Ash Cave at Hocking Hills State Park -A ghostly lady walks the trail at Ash Cave dressed in the clothing of the 1920s and 1930sThere is also a tale of two pioneer children who fell to their deaths at the cave while being pursued by Indians. While this incident has never been confirmed, some visitors claim the boy’s screams can still be heard to this day.

Ash cave is beautiful! Me and my fiancé had a wonderful weekend and stayed in the cabins of hocking hills and of course we had to come see what beautiful ash cave has to offer! This is definitely worth coming to see and is a main attraction in the area. There is something so breathtaking about these magnificently tall cave walls that surround you as you walk the trail. I absolutely enjoyed it and can’t wait to bring the whole family to come see it next time.
Awesome sights and a really cool cave. I must warn you, for those who don't do much trail walking, the trip back up can be a tough one. Bring your best walking shoes and a camera. I would highly recommend the visit

Rock House is always a great experience. Fun and great for pictures. Today the bottom bridge was closed - that usually makes it a loop. So it was only an out-and-back. I wore shoe spikes and they definitely helped! Bathrooms at the parking lots.

Beautiful hike at Rock House! Lots of history to learn for the kiddos. A little too crowded for my taste even on a rainy weekday but still loved the amazing scenery. Well worth the visit!

We enjoyed the hike. Glad there was steps made to make the trail easier. Rock house is very nice. You might want to bring a light if you want to see details while walking inside the Rock House.
Anne Klonowski — Google review
While Rock House is a bit more out of the way from the other sights in Hocking Hills State Park, I think it's worth your time. The trail is not very long (plan for half an hour) and consists of a decline into gorge, the Rock House itself, and an incline out of the gorge. Even though it's not called a cave, it really is one and in fact the only true cave in the park since the others are termed recess caves.
Nick Gavio — Google review
I looked on some websites for some of easier trails in the Hocking Hills area, and this one came up. It's supposed to be only a 1/4 mile. Let me warn you that this trail is the opposite of easy. It starts off fine, but then you get to some very steep steps going down. There are very few things to hold on to, and the edge of the cliff is very close to the trail. I had second thoughts getting through this area. The views and sights at the cave are beautiful but it is hard to get there if you are not fit. The walking bridge has collapsed at the bottom, and the detour is a slippery walk over wet logs in the creek. Coming out of the gorge is much better than going down, but it is uphill and thankfully short. The cave is beautiful but beware it is not an easy hike down.
David Snyder — Google review
This was a nice loop trail. There was one spot a little wet and the bridge was not useable but other wise it was a great little hike. Parts of the trail maybe out for dogs but i strongly suggest not taking them if you want go inside the “house”. There are many other places that are much better suited for dogs close by.

Very cool place to see. Really muddy hike down and up....slippery. You need good shoes and maybe a walking stick. Trail is really close to the cliff edge coming down from the cave so maybe not the best hike if you have a fear of heights.

Wow great trail. Lots of up and down stairs and paths. Inside the cave is amazing. Most people could do this track. I saw people of all ages. The ground is extremely uneven so you have to watch where you're stepping. The whole thing is under a mile.

Such a cool place! The trail is super short (it makes up for it in steep hills) so it is a nice quick stop. We went at 9:30am on a Sunday in the summer and there were maybe 4 other families on the trail as well, we have heard this one gets really busy during the day. It is super scenic on the way there with rock formations, and then a steep walk back up (not bad though). It is about a half mile and we went there and back in about a half hour, with exploring the cave a bit.
Madeline Spruill Cononge — Google review
Absolutely love this place, been coming here for years. They recently built a new detour bridge at the base of the cliff instead of the old stone Bridge.
This is not an appropriate hike for younger kids, as there are a lot of areas with drop offs and lots of stone steps, climbing.

Everyone should come enjoy this small national park! You won't spend an awful lot of time here, so it's even good for kids. The workers at the information desk are friendly and have lots of information and pamphlets to give you. There are many mounds here, and some of them have information signs explaining their significance. There's plenty of parking and clean restrooms here.

Wonderful place to visit to learn about indigenous people of Ohio and their continuing importance/impact. The park rangers are very informative and kind.
Megan Smeznik — Google review
This was my first visit to this National Historic Park area. Excellent presentation of indigenous (native) peoples ingenuity and sophisticated culture before the Europeans arrived. The Mound City group is just one of several sites in the newly designated World Cultural Heritage area. Make sure you see this and the other sites to truly experience the mounds and other earthworks of the Hopewell culture that flourished in the central and southern Ohio landscape.
Mike Stoehr — Google review
This park is really impressive. The mounds are amazing. There is a small visitors center with video and a gift shop.
There are trails outside with different information boards to read. I have very limited mobility and get around on an electric scooter. I could go as far as the sidewalk.
They did have an off road wheel chair that you can borrow to go on the trails. That was really nice to see.
Cat Lady — Google review
A lot of interesting history about an incredible culture. What's left off the signs is that all the mounds are reconstructions. They are well researched and in the correct places, but between farming, an Army camp, and some archeology the original mounds are no longer here.
Nice picnic area with lots of shade. Friendly ranger and volunteer in the visitor center.

The National Park Service manages several Hopewell mound sites in the Chillicothe area. The Hopewell Culture National Historical Park's visitor center is located at Mound City Group and is the only site that has a full facility with a museum, gift store, restrooms and helpful rangers. Despite this site's name "Mound City Group", this site was not a residential area but rather a burial and ceremonial ground. Anyone fascinated with ancient mounds and earthworks needs to visit this site. And if your travel plans include seeing all the earthworks in the Chillicothe area, see this one first to give you a better understanding of what you will be seeing at some of the other sites where the earthworks no longer exist but are only outlined by mowing the grass on the ground where they once stood. The museum and park rangers will also provide valuable information about the people who created and utilized these structures. We arrived around 3pm and were told that we could join a ranger led tour that started shortly after. Ranger Sue was so informative! I learned so much!

Outstanding film. Great rangers. Walk around the site to experience the history it’s amazing.

I enjoyed it, even though some of the paths did get some minor flooding. Nothing too disruptive. I would say the largest issue was the large, high-voltage power lines running through the ceremonial areas.

Free! It's basically a big flat field... i was underwhelmed. There is a nice trail, lots signage explaining what was, but do to farming and land usage, most of it looks like a big grassy field. It is large... the interpretive trail is 2.25 miles and basically goes around the site.
Notable Worthington family mansion with many original furnishings, set on 2,000 landscaped acres.
This place is great for those who appreciate early Ohio history. It gives us a slice of how Ohio became a state and how Thomas Worthington was instrumental during the process. The house was constructed by Thomas Worthington around 1803 and still stands in much the same way it did then. They have a museum that gives great background on the Worthington family and a house tour that last about 45 minutes. The grounds are beautiful and you can view the overlook that the Ohio State Seal was derived from. Tickets are $12 per person and well worth every penny! We have a rich history in Ohio and this place is a hidden gem right in our backyard!

Interesting place to visit. You should allow yourself at least two hours... even more if you like to take your time and explore things.
You can learn a lot about the history of how Ohio became a state by perusing the welcome center and taking the tour of the mansion.
They've done a great job of trying to restore things back to how they would have been during the era. The mansion probably took an hour to go thru with a tour guide. Very much information to absorb on the tour. Afterwards you can explore the grounds on your own. I recommend stopping at the old barn.
*** Pro Tip:
If you like flowers, remember that mid to late June is not a great time to see the gardens. It's too late to see the perineals as they've finished blooming and it's too early to see the annuals...so it's an in between time. I'd recommend late July thru the Fall, or the Spring time.
One piece of history I liked was this property has the very view which served as the inspiration for the design of the Great Seal of Ohio.

Near Chillicothe Ohio a great place to visit, admission is very modest, with children and senior discounts. Visa,Mastercard, and Discover are accepted. A nice gift shop and at the time of our visit even had some vegetables from the grounds garden for sell.
No picturea are allowed inside the mansion and they do ask you silence your phones please.
Home was air conditioned and was very comfortable. Our tour guide was very informative and was more than happy to answer questions. Strictly no touch of anything in the home.
The grounds are fair game for pictures and the large gardens provide plenty of opportunities for taking pictures.
A half day could be spent here easily and they do also have a museum inside rhe welcome center that you should definitely walk through.
We actually learned a lot from our tour and we are very happy we stopped by.

Took a mini vaca this week while kids were on fall break and went to hocking hills. Stayed in the Marriott in Chillicothe. During our stay the hotel worker suggested we check out this place. Didn’t really know anything about this place or that it even existed so we took the suggestion and went not really knowing what to expect. We went on Thursday. So glad we did! The tour was excellent and we learned so much that we didn’t really know before. Just being on the grounds that significant historical figures like Tecumseh once graced with their presence is something else! I came not really knowing who Thomas Worthington was and left knowing a whole lot more! Of course I had heard of Tecumseh and just knowing he stayed here is reason enough to come! Much of the house is original including much of the floors and the pave stones outside. They have a museum with the actual peace pipe tomahawk Tecumseh gave to Worthington as a symbol of peace, which is really cool! So you do timed guided tours and fyi the last tour before lunch is 11:30 and then tours resume at 1:30. I got there right at 11:30 and had to wait until 1:30. That’s ok because there are things you do on your own like explore the museum, barn, garden, so we were able to fill the time. They don’t have food except a couple snack items in gift shop so don’t come hungry. The tour guide was great and very informative and gave plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Beware that the house is very cold. Wear long sleeves or layers. They are unable to change the temperature. Didn’t really get a clear cut answer why the house is so cold other than that it’s cold and they can’t change the temperature. I asked if it’s haunted but the tour guide swears it’s not. Hmmmmm….. Either way this is a great little day thing to do with your kids and family, friends, or even alone and gives you the opportunity to step back in time!

The mansion and grounds are beautiful, the museum is interesting as well. I was thrilled to find (and start) the Ohio History Passport booklet here as we already are working on the passports for the Ohio State Parks and the National parks. The only downside to this visit was:
1) no parking if you arrive early as the gate off the road before the parking lots (we arrived at 11:30 and they weren't open until 12 so we had to go find a business to park at until 12)
2) no photography allowed inside the mansion - this was very disappointing and I'm unsure as to the reason. We visit many historic homes/buildings and typically can take pictures as long as no flash is used.

I was impressed with the amount of information the tour offered. I learned lots about the time period, the main family and the extended family. I do wish there were a way to choose your tour style it would have been nice to take a shortened tour for the littles in our group. It was hard to make it through the last few rooms. Definitely need to allow several hours to visit here. We spent about 3.5 hours. We visited the house, garden, great seal overlook, museum and gift shop.

Scioto Downs is a horserace track and casino in Columbus, Ohio. It offers gambling on slot machines, table games, and horse racing from May through September. Live musical performances are also offered at the facility throughout the night.
Love playing at this place. They have all the games. Love the horse racing love having the hotel attached to it. Just wish they had another restaurant because the other two have limited menus. Amazed that Ohio casinos have Lottery machines on their property. Quite handy.

Pretty run of the mill as far as casino experience goes. The real winner here was the Brew Brothers restaurant. Huge portions and the best service staff. Unique cocktails and a huge selection of house brews. The Redhead Amber Ale was so tasty and paired extremely well with my "fish and chips". Two huge fried Cod filets and fries.

Awesome facility and casino. They have semi parking off to the left in back. Spent 18 hours here playing the slots and only lost $80 in 8 hours of playing. At one time I was up $300 but kept playing. The machines are calibrated right and not too tight. Workers are super friendly and professional. I also ate lunch and dinner inside and it was excellent at a good price!!! I would definitely recommend coming here! I’ll be back that’s for sure.

I ended up not spending any money here. First off, no one was at any of the locations that I found to get a card or offer customer assistance. Secondly, I found the video a lot machines to be very confusing, so a customer service professional would have been helpful.
The older men working the doors both pointed to where folks should be... maybe I just got lost. At the end of the day - harness racing had ended for the season and that was why we originally stopped, so my gain is my win I suppose.
They do appear to have a rather large section blocked off for 2023 renovations.
Maybe next year I can catch some harness racing.

First time going there the security was funny and nice, the desk services people were friendly and helped tremendously. I'm not a casino person, but my wife enjoys the adventure. The place is undergoing renovations, so it felt more closed off than maybe it generally feels. I enjoyed this casino immensely! The staff was friendly, food is decent and atmosphere is serene outside. There is a smoking section, which is great, because I don’t smoke, but they can chill with the coconut air freshener inside it’s loud.
I was able to RV park while I watched the races and gambled. It’s crazy because I was simply passing by on my way to NC.
Jumped off the highway and began with the races…then went inside to the slots. The slots had an even balance.. I came out even from when I arrived and I gambled for 5 days. There was a live band on Friday night outside by the races.
I met people, laughed with staff, talked to strangers, and moved on…It was a fun stop.
My absolute favorite thing was the French fries…weird but true.
Definitely recommend!!

Oddly enough in addition to gambling, I travel to this casino for their cheeseburgers. They have a small cafe inside the casino that serves tacos, pizza, and burgers. Definitely get yourself a burger. It's grilled to order, and they are juicy and delicious! The staff is always friendly, and they're always super busy because their food is so good!

Horrible gaming. Played several machines and had no enjoyment. Just complete donation. One of the worst experiences. Put thousands into the machines, no bonus play, no average return on investment. Ceasars property is a ripoff. Play the MGM you'll enjoy yourself!
Alex Bell — Google review
I used to be a regular here. Embarrassed to say I was getting close to $200 a week in free play. One used to be able to come in, drink a few beers and play the slots for a bit. Maybe $200-$300 bucks. Since Ceasars took over, it's nothing but a dirty money pit. 8 bucks to use the ATM, $11 for 2 beers and the return to player went from 90% to low 70's. They can't get hardly anyone to work there and when they do, the people wisen up and quit. It sits on South High Street and "management" thinks it's the Vegas strip. I, myself, have literally broken up 2 fights and their joke security was nowhere to be found. Do yourself a favor and skip this dump. Hollywood isn't much better but it's definitely better than this hole.
The Hollywood Casino Columbus in Ohio is a popular destination for those looking to have a good time. The casino has slot and video poker machines as well as blackjack tables, making it the perfect place to spend some time. The location also offers a wide range of dining options, including a steakhouse and buffet, which makes it the perfect place to catch a show or dinner.
Me and the wife's favorite place to go . Besides all the fun slots and Games available. The payback percentages are the best around . On top of that the food options are amazing with Mike's Late Night slice on sight as well and Dirty Franks .

WOW! Covid has really done a number on this place... arrived on a Thursday night after a blue jackets game and it was DEAD. Went out to the new smoling patio with my wife and found a bunch of different machines either turned off, in need of repair, or some other error causing the machine to be out of service. I have no clue how a casino could operate at only 50% of their machines even functional. A couple more fun finds you'll see in my pictures, but when you ask an slot attendant about a specific theme why are you acting like you can't be bothered or direct me to someone else since you're busy? I almost didn't play because of this individual since the only version of the game I wanted to play was a high limit exclusive, or so it would seem with as many machines were unplayable. Outside of this high limit slot attendant I only spotted a single server, and only twice during me time this visit, and some combination of 5 other slot techs/attendants, but the cage was fully staffed -.- Hoping their sister property is better when I go for my birthday next month.

I enjoy visiting this casino while visiting family in Ohio. It's nice to have a local place to go to have a good time, maybe win some games, and have some food. I appreciate the free beverages like soda and coffee. I do feel like the staff is nice and all the facilities are clean! It's worth a visit if you want to test your luck and take it easy!

Very clean and inviting. The staff was very nice and helpful, as well. The outdoor areas were a nice place to hang out, on a pleasant day and evening, in the spring/summer months. Nice selection of food eateries, as well. The patrons well well behaved, and seemed to be having a great time. I'm not a big gambler, but this place encouraged me to come and have a great time, every once in awhile. I forgot one thing. I also like the fact that they have free fountain drinks, and coffee, as well.

Decent casino… however, had a miserable time cashing out my chips. They only had three cashiers open on a busy Saturday night with the line a mile long. Cashier was nowhere near tables. Had to walk to the other end of the casino. Very unusual layout. Plus… everyone in my party lost.

Boxing night at the casino was excellent, a lot of good up and coming fighters. First time in this casino and was impressed by how well they have kept the place up with it being open for about 10 years now. Couple of local staple restaurants on display in here but not their best foot forward...still solid. Everything else is what you would expect out of a casino that isn't in Vegas.

Casinos are few and far between, but they do have some cheap buy ins and some great food options (Dirty Frank's, Mike's late night, and wahlburgers coming soon) Everytime I go though there are more and more broken machines and trash left everywhere. The smoking/gaming patio looked like a nice addition, I just wish they took better care of the inside. In their defense though, the type of area and crowd that is usually there is a little rough and not the best guests. Video blackjack and Big 6 were highly entertaining.

My review is not for the games but for customer service in general. Hollywood Casino is a beautiful place with a variety of table games and slots... However my experience here was not outstanding. Since this was my first time coming I wanted to get a player's card. The desk was very busy and probably understaffed, understandably. What was upsetting was that the staff focused 100 percent of their attention on getting through the 'VIP' line while leaving everyone else to wait until there was not a single person in the VIP line to be waited on. Those waiting for player cards were still being serviced, albeit slowly. I watched a man in the front of the 'regular' waiting to use other services for literally 30 minutes, all the while being passed over for service by those walking up in the VIP line, having not even waited a full minute at some points. What would have been a better solution to getting through the lines would have been to maybe take two VIP customers to every one regular. Just a suggestion. There are very possibly big spenders in that regular line who now have a sour taste in their mouth having never even had the chance to become a VIP.
After finally securing my player card I wanted to get to the bar before the gambling began. To my dismay, the main bar had a line like I have only seen at amusement parks (okay, that's a bit over-exaggerated) . I was initially frustrated especially after waiting over half an hour just to get a player's card, but my frustration soon went away when I realized how fast the line was going. When I got to the bar to place my order I saw there was only one bartender working... But he was moving drinks at the pace of at least three good bartenders. Outstanding! I was more than impressed to say the least. Raymond, you are a Rockstar! Hollywood is very lucky to have you on their team.
All in all, a good experience with just a couple of things that could be improved upon and hopefully will once fully staffed. I hope to come back and rack up those player points ;-)

This is my new home driving over the road for stops in Ohio. Not only are they trucker friendly they have a designated parking area with spaces for truckers. No shuttle service. It's a little bit of a walk but definitely worth it. This really made what could've been a bad night into a really great night.
Update: I tried paying for my parking since the kiosk out in the lot was broken. Staff got a big kick out of that. FYI it's called integrity, honesty and honor. You should try it some time. The country would be in better shape. Dig your own graves. What do I care? I'm old and outa here soon. You have to live it.

This is the 4th bad review in a row I've given! I'd give zero stars if I could. Went last night 2/3/24 and played the buffalo train game. Ended up losing over 900 bucks! I'm getting ready to sue due to the fact this is the fourth weekend in a row I've got completely wrecked. Here is an example. This pic is half way threw the 51 free games I ended up getting. Notice I'm at 19 bucks at the 22 free game mark. I only ended up with $26 after the 51 free games ended . So out of the last 29 free games I only won 7 bucks!! How do I only win $26 on a 2 cent demon $1.50 bet and 51 free games? Also how do I spend 900 bucks and only win $26 ?? Got another bonus that had 28 free games and payed me 10 bucks. I've been collecting evidence that this Casino is clearly cheating. It felt like I was being robbed! Spent hundreds of dollars to get a bonus and then the bonus is a slap in the face...every single time!! You will be hearing from my attorney and also my attorney has already contacted the Ohio gaming commission! Do not come here!!! Not only will you be robbed , most of their games the spin buttons are broke. Last night there were like 7 or 8 cash redemption machines that didn't work. I gave you guys four weekends of my time but I'm done. This place is a joke. Also I'm hip to the fact you turn the machines down on free play days. See you in court !
National historic landmark comprising a 1,400-ft. serpent effigy built by prehistoric cultures.
Amazing to stroll around this ancient monument and ponder the people who built it, the events that took place - lost to time. The site is very well maintained and nicely presented. A small museum, gift shop, restrooms, and a picnic shelter are all available. The observation tower is currently closed for repairs. Free admission. Parking is $8 per vehicle.

Beautiful. Sacred. We went when it was colder for the Winter Solstice. If you have an appreciation for this sort of thing you will really enjoy it. A nice trail alongside the whole Serpent, and other things to view along the way. The workers were respectful but the gift shop was closed! ( We happened to visit an awesome Rock Shop down the road instead. )

This serpent mound is seriously cool! It's very different than other mounds in Ohio in that you can legit see it is in the shape of an animal. This is the largest known mound in North America. There's a winding path that goes along the effigy. There are some small burial mounds here as well. They also have a nice and short nature trail here. It costs $8 per car, which is well worth it. Unfortunately, the observation tower is currently closed for repairs.
Thirteendays — Google review
I visited the serpent mound on May 4th 2022 at around 10:30 AM, shortly after it opened. It wasn't very crowded at all and there was probably only 2 other couples there. It only costs 8 dollars per vehicle, whether you are in a motorcycle or a full sized passenger bus... only 8 dollars for as many folks you can cram into the car! The museum is pretty cool, showcasing some of the artifacts that have been found nearby and they have a little gift shop with stickers, shirts, postcards, books and little things for the kids! The mounds are really amazing! I've never seen anything like it in my life! If you are passing through the area, this is a must see! One of the most renound mounds in the USA! I was thrilled that they allowed dogs (on leash of course, and bring bags for doggy doodoo!) so me and the pups strolled around the path that circles the mound. There is also a couple really great lookouts over the valley and I noticed a few other paths for hiking as well. The only downside, when I was there, the lookout tower was under construction and out of order... so you weren't able to view the mounds or take photos from above. Still truly amazing though!

What an incredible place! We loved taking the side trails and walking along this gigantic serpent. We enjoyed thinking about what this space must have meant to native people. I wish the viewing tower was available but it was absolutely worth the trip! We thoroughly enjoyed dreaming about what this serpent mound could mean and how far back it goes into our past. This is a must see, pyramids of the Midwest!

This is a must see for anyone interested in history. The serpent mound is our Stonehenge. Indian guides brought explorers to this location in 1840. It was an agent religious site and the serpent aligns with the solstice and equinox.
Be sure to watch the film in the small Museum.
This site is good for folks with mobility issues because the path is paved.
Be warned your GPS may not work in this area. Be sure to write down directions how to get there and how to get home.

I've been wanting to see this site for years, and I was not disappointed when I finally was able to travel across the country to visit! The Serpent Mound was the first of several ancient mounds and earthworks we visited in Ohio. The grounds were beautifully kept and the educational signs were in good condition and very helpful in explaining the site and the affiliated cultures. A paved walking path circles the mound and a couple of nature trails split off from it. The trail also has an observation deck that overlooks the wooded "valley" below. I was excited to see this overlook because I had previously learned that the Serpent Mound was built on the edge of a very ancient impact crater. It's interesting to speculate whether the builders of the mound knew about the crater and purposely constructed a serpent shaped mound (perhaps symbolizing a falling star?) since it was only identified by our modern culture in the 19th century. The park offers ample parking, clean restrooms and shady picnic tables. Unfortunately the museum and gift store was closed for some reason when we went 7/11/23, and the observation tower, which I had previously read from other reviews, was still out of commission, awaiting repairs. The mound is not easy to visualize from the ground, drones are not allowed, and photos from ground level are not sufficient to make out the effigy mound so it is helpful to do some research in advance to truly appreciate this earthwork.
In We Go — Google review
The walk around the mound was much shorter than I expected. There’s a nice museum with a 10 minute video that loops. The parking lot is huge and the restrooms are clean. There are posted signs along the path. It was fun going but once was enough. You pay the $8 fee at the museum.

First heard of this memorial on the History channel's ancient aliens. 😂 Of course, I do not believe this place was created by aliens. But it definitely sparked my interest in the location! So some credit is due! This site is a historical site that is very interesting to visit. Lots of history here of the indigenous people who created it. But the mystery still remains, who created it? There's a lot of debate. But it's very beautiful location! Not as big as I thought it was from seeing pictures. Pretty easy hike around the mounds.
Great place to stop for a day picnic and buy a souvenir!

Well kept and affordable to go and see. There are plenty of trails around there for hiking as well. It's beautiful in the fall. If you are a history buff , or if you are fascinated with ancient cultures, then u must see it for yourself. They have a cute little gift shop and they sell crystals and different stones and things of that nature. They also host different events throughout the year.

Very interesting place. A shame the observation tower is closed so you can't get the full view of the snake mound. Still worth seeing. Cost is very reasonable at $8 a carload. Has a nice gift shop and film to explain the mound. Has clean restroom and shaded picnic tables

Was a very beautiful place to visit. The visitation center had some good information. The walk around and view of stuff was nice. But the tower to look over is down and needs repairs. So we could not do that and the map they have at the side of the parking was very confusing, I would just ignore it.

As a native Ohioan, I have always wanted to come here since I was young, but never got the chance to go. On the first nice weekend in a long time, we took the 3.5 hour trip down from Akron to check it out with our kids. I thought it was going to be bigger than it was, but it is still impressive nonetheless. Very educational and felt like sacred land. We hiked the nature trail next to the mound. It was a beautiful hike too. Definitely should visit here once in your life!

Was driving through town and decided to do a tour and the house was really neat. It was restored a few years ago and they did a wonderful job with the place. The docent was extremely knowledgeable and spoke clearly. Her stories about the house and the family really explained the history well. It's unfortunate they don't have more of the original furniture but it's understandable why they don't and they're lucky to have the house in such great shape.

Nice tour of this FLW prairie style home built in the first decade of the 1900s. It has a garage rather than a carriage house. Mr. Westcott was developing a Westcott automobile, which never apparently happened after Mrs. Westcott passed away. He also was a mayor of Springfield. Our guide John G., a Springfield native was very good, and the gift shop was amazing, maybe the best I've been in of the FLW sites I've toured.

Young's Jersey Dairy is a farm-based establishment that offers not only delicious ice cream but also other activities for the whole family. Visitors can enjoy mini-golf and batting cages, as well as watch cows being milked and feed goats. The restaurant on-site serves cheeseburgers, cheese curds, and other dishes that are sure to satisfy hunger cravings. While prices may be a bit high, many people rave about the quality of their milkshakes.
An excellent place to get a sweet treat after a long day! The buckeye milkshake is so good and well worth the price. I am also very impressed with the new building. You can now hold events there at a modest price, such as corporate get togethers and birthday parties.
I'm glad Young's is still in business. It's brought back memories of getting ice cream with grandpa after bike rides.

I took my family there with my boyfriend for the first time and we had a blast! My nephew had fun feeding the goats for the first time, exploring and seeing all the animals (goats, cows, pigs), climbing in tractors, and exploring the play area made especially for kids his age filled with tons of age appropriate activities which was free for him and he’s under the age of 2. We also got food and ice cream here and it was all delicious! Both came out in a timely manner. They also have a cute little gift shop section you can shop from. Absolutely loved sharing a Young’s Dairy experience with my family that I grew up loving!

Here are some tips for visiting Young's Jersey Dairy:
* Go during the week if you can to avoid the crowds.
* Be prepared to wait in line, especially for the ice cream.
* Bring cash, as some of the activities and food vendors do not accept credit cards.

I hope this helps!

This is a perfect place if you are trying to find something for couple of hours depending on the crowd size. If it is just one family then the options you have is farm, petting/feeding animals, walking around to take pictures, maybe games depending on your interest and end up with a good treat...they have great ice cream collections and wide menu. I loved their fried cheese curds..peaches and cream was my favorite along with white cream with chocolate and Raspberry. I get to try their garlic and dill flavor (yes ice cream), for me it tasted like frozen garlic butter. If you are visiting this with few families then you can spend 4+ hours including all fun games....would recommend this place.

We met some of the family at Young's for a treat before they had to head back home out of state. We have eaten here several times but only once before at the new building and tables. There was a really nice shaded area under the porch to eat your treat. Today we got the straw berry short cake with the vanilla ice cream. The whip cream on top is a nice touch. The cake wasn't really pound cake but really just like regular cake. Also the ice cream seemed really sweet more than creamy. The strawberries were nice and fresh and delicious. I probably wouldn't order it again but would stick to the strawberry ice cream. It has always been great.

This is definitely a mid-west experience you don't want to miss, it's massive, large parking lot, petting zoo, long line to order but it moves fast because they know what they are doing. It's great to go for some hikes around Jon Bryan State Park and then get some dinner and ice cream. The ice cream is mandatory don't miss out. Plenty of tables to even on the busiest day I've been you can typically find a seat even for a large group.

Visited here several years ago and thought the restaurant part was quite rundown. Was pleased to see they have redone the restaurant and it is really really nice. Very nice and clean restrooms. Quite a few indoor tables even for groups. Little gift shop inside with various decor and gifts and a plethora of food items - cheese curds, etc. We ate lunch - you order at counter and they give you a beeper to pick up your food from the counter. You can order from your table as well using a QR code. We fed the goats - can buy food outside for a quarter. Went into barn - cows, goats, pig that you could pet. Also pumpkins and gourds to purchase outside. Reasonably priced. Went putt putt golfing with a group - course was well maintained and fun. Ice cream is great and homemade there. Super fun time!

My first time to the new building of Young's Jersey Dairy restaurant. Lots of seating options including a HUGE family table. There is a line for ice cream and a line for food/drink. And the lines go very fast. You place your order and they give you a device to let you know when your order is up at the Grill. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger with no bun (because of GF issues), the cheese curds and hot apple cider. My burger was alright, not hot at all, but edible. The cheese curds came with 3 sauces and those curds are delicious!
There is a cute gift shop that includes breads, pies, jams and candy.

This place is phenomenal!! We came for mini putt (udders and putters, are you kidding me?! Genius!) and stayed for baby goats, baby cows, kittens and delicious food. There's an app to pre-order your food and then you head over and pick it up to skip the line, absolutely a time saver. 10/10 would recommend, the 17th hole of mini putt is about the appropriate timing to order, finish your game, meander over, and then everything is ready. We had zero children with us and had an incredible time as adults, definitely a kid-friendly place, but tons of activities for those of us young at heart as well.

They also have a driving range as well (I didn't check it out but it definitely seemed to be a popular spot). There is plenty of parking, clean restrooms, and plenty of seating for everyone. It appears that they do have different events happening in the weekend.

Homemade ice cream is without a doubt the best flavor. The sandwiches and onion rings take a little longer to serve, but they are also very tasty and should be eaten. There is a cattle barn just around the corner, which can be visited freely, and is recommended for visitors with children.

We stopped here because of geocaching, so happy we learned of the place. Although very off season timing it was a great visit, always a good time to enjoy animals. Probably the best cheese curds from a restaurant I’ve ever had. Of course had to get some fresh milk and it was so good! Planning our return trip to check out the carousel when it’s put in this summer.

I spent about 20 minutes looking around inside at the cheese for sale that sounded awesome and at the gift shop and outside in the barn. The goats were bahhing. It was cute. Petted a little cow. They have hand cleanser stations for after you pet the animals or let them eat feed from your palm. You can buy a little container of goat feed inside for $1.75 or outside by the goats they have 4 gumball type dispensers with feed ..a small handful for $.25.

Stopped by on our way out of town to pick up some cheese curds and sweet potato bread. Everyone was extremely kind here, and our cashier recommended her favorite blend of vanilla latte, coffee, and creamer that really hit the spot. This place is worth the stop!

Very clean store that sells lots of varieties of ice cream either at the counter or in bulk containers. A few different kinds of cheese. Ice cream and cheese tasted really good and fresh. A deli area is at the right rear. Also a few food items and novelty items are sold.

What a cool place and the treats were delicious but the line was long and the time we had to wait to get ice cream felt like I was at a Michelin star restaurant. (They only had 2 people at the registers)
Lots of fun things for the kids to do.

This was an overall good experience. I went with friends and being there with them made it awesome.
Thinking objectively about the festival itself, though, I don’t think it was worth the ticket price. It’s marketed as a permanent village, which to me made it seem like there would be good, well-made structures there when in reality, much of it looks like thin pieces of old wood nailed together to make ramshackle buildings. Colors are faded on flags and tapestries. The benches are warped and have green things growing on them. The paths are gravel. Shouldn’t it be packed dirt? There wasn’t gravel back then.
There was a lot less period-accurate things happening than I expected. For one, there were loud speakers and microphones used, which I was disappointed by. Shows talked big but did little—passionate people without the talent to back it up. Songs were present-day and sung badly over and over. One woman used a terrible British accent as entertainment. The energy from some was still good and helped make the shows, but I’d say it’s probably more kid-level than an adult would enjoy, yet some of the jokes made aren’t great for kids so there’s an imbalance there. But kids wouldn’t notice the poor performances as well.
The food and drinks are over-priced but that’s to be expected at such an event. I thought it was weird that you could buy pizza and Whiteclaw at a Renaissance festival; this was my first time going and I expected it to be more period-accurate. I did see turkey legs and a sign for mead, but I think the mead was just beer.
It was hard to book it over to shows we wanted to see, too. A bit of a confusing layout and the times weren’t conducive to being able to see one show and then another right after in time. Like the jousting only lasted like 10-15 minutes, so if you were coming from something else, you miss it before you can even arrive. :/
Kids’ rides were super expensive—$4/ride on a rickety-looking old wooden slide? No! 😆
On the other hand, the kettle corn was really good and only $3 for a small, but it was huge! The best value of the whole place. And some people who attended had really beautiful costumes and makeup. That wasn’t thanks to the actual festival or ticket money spent, but it was cool to see.

The Holiday Yuletide Village was beautiful. The shops were transformed to showcase holiday-themed gifts while keeping the renaissance festival alive. We enjoyed walking amongst the lights and characters in the park. The weather was a bit cool so it was nice to spend some time near the many fire pits they had set up. Absolutely a wonderful experience.

A great way to spend the day with family! $23 for admission but there are tons of shows and activities to keep you busy for the day. Lots of different food options available as well as beer. Parking is $3 so be sure to bring some cash.

This place is awesome. The ambience is perfect. I would.suggest dressing up if you have the money too. Definitely get a turkey leg and a mug of beer.

We enjoyed the outdoor Holiday festival before it got too cold out, thankfully! The food was delicious. The characters never disappoint. They have hot chocolate and coffee and you can add some yummy adult beverages to add to it.

Such a fun place and lots to do and see. I definitely recommend bringing plenty of cash for food and parking and for the games. Great food and always love watching the joust. Get there early to avoid crowds and traffic!

Always have a blast. The faire runs for all of September and October and they are bringing back the Yuletide in December. Tons of interesting items to look at. Great shows with incredibly talented people. We always have fun. It is crowded and lines for food can be long. Grab something to eat before noon or later in the day.

This was my first year attending and I fell in love! The atmosphere is unlike any other. I'd compare the vibe to one similar of a music festival. People were so dedicated to their character. The performers were amazing on and off stage. Food was delicious!

Was super excited to attend the festival for the first time ever! I got my boyfriend and myself tickets for his birthday and we headed to the festival. It took us an hour to get to the entrance when we were 1.5miles away. The park was over crowded and it was very hard to enjoy the activities. I think I would have loved the festivities if there were about half the amount of people there. The large crowds made it hard to see shows and shop at the vendors. The food lines were really long. When we finally tried to leave at 5:50 it took us over 4 hours to get out of the parking lot. I can’t believe we spent so much time dealing with the parking and so little time inside the cramped faire. Not sure if I will ever return and this experience definitely put a damper on my boyfriends birthday present. I couldn’t help but think of the safety of everyone crammed in there if there had been an emergency. Thank goodness mostly everyone left safely- albeit certainly SLOWLY. Please do better in the next years.

The Renaissance Festival was an awesome experience! The tickets are pricey but the amount of entertainment you get throughout the day makes it worth it. There's all kinds of shows, vendors, and food throughout the park and it really makes you feel like you've time traveled. The park is so big we didn't even see everything in the 4+ hours we were there. I've been inspired to dress up next time!

First times joined this event on September and absolutely love it... I felt like going back to my childhood used the blanket to made the princess customes... I feel I be younger...
I heard before they dressed up renaissance custome but now we can dress up more than that and no one judge us...
There was many games and show to enjoy and laugh and relieve your stress.
You can buy your custome here I saw they are really high quality outfits. Also have many interesting souvenir stores. The most my favorite store was insense store... the staffs there they very friendly and patient with my barry language
Thanks for create this wonderful event ...love you guys and can wait for next season !

We don’t have anything like this in Ireland. I absolutely loved it. Its great fun dressing up and going along. Some of the people there dressed up are really committed and their costumes look like something from Game of Thrones and Lord of the rings. Its unreal. The atmosphere of the whole place is wonderful. Its crazy its like being transformed back in time once you walk through the gates. The shows are really entertaining. The shops have weird and wonderful stuff. The food and drinks are renaissance inspired. Great play areas for kids. Jousting is the main event and is good fun to watch.

Extremely well-organized event. Renaissance Fair had wide open and plentiful parking and easy exit. Clean grounds, can walk through it in an hour, add time if you stop in the shops and lines and shows of course.

Wonderful. Amazing shows, amazing atmosphere, can't say enough good things about it. Their Yuletide Village was also extremely fun! They need to do more advertising for it so more people can experience it.
The National Museum of the United States Air Force houses a vast array of aircraft, military artifacts and exhibits on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base just outside Dayton. The museum is huge, and visitors can explore everything from displays covering Air Force Art to world war II bomber jackets to hundreds of whole aircraft. The museum has an on-site cafe that's a great place to rest after a long day of exploring.
This place has an incredible amount of information and exhibits. They have free tours that guide you through the history of aviation, presidential planes pre-1970, quite a few real planes and many more items. It was not busy when we arrived and it wasn't busy when we left. They have a cafe on site (Valkyrie cafe) and although I didn't eat there, it seemed like a basic place to grab a quick bite. My four year old kids enjoyed it. We will likely be back when they get a bit older. The staff was incredibly nice. Overall a very pleasant experience.

This is by far the greatest air museum I have been to!! Judging from the other reviews here or any where else, the place totally does not disappoint! You and your family definitely should spend a day and you'll see. It's FREE admission and parking. There's plenty of displays and definitely gives honor to the service men and women of the past and present. I would love to visit again! (When they open the Early Days of flight)

This place is huge and has so many planes! It's very informative of all the wars and how the planes came about. I really liked that it had places you could stop and watch a video of people speaking about their experiences. The air force one planes were tight! If you are claustrophobic I do not recommend :D
They were setting up for an air force dinner ball and everyone that came looked amazing!
Gift shop had a lot of fun things you can purchase.

Massive museum with an extensive collections of planes from the beginnings of aviation until today.
Definitely could spend days in there and still have material to read and learn.
A great museum for any history, military or aviation buff.
Lots of walking ( smart watch clocked 6 miles indoors!) so be ready for those distances.

Took my girlfriend here for a surprised trip and we had such a great experience. Since she's a teacher, she enjoyed reading all the history and facts about the planes and about the equipment used in the wars. I love how clean this place was and spread out so it never felt crowded. I recommend spending about 2 days here if you want to get the full experience and read everything. About 1 day if you just want to look at everything. Great gift shop and cafeteria too.

After 15+ years, I managed to return to this museum, and I was impressed by the changes. -including a new building.
The museum covers flight from the earliest days all the way to current space vehicles
If you go, wear comfortable shoes and bring a spare battery for your camera. The docents are helpful and know details of the exhibits. I do recommend making a donation and getting a site map so you can target sections to visit. I suspect I will find an excuse to return sometime soon.
don crossman — Google review
The exhibits are great. I have visited twice before and would come back again to see the exhibits.
The parking lot has two electric chargers with four parking spots. The charging is slower than my home charger but is at a decent charging rate of about 30 miles per hour.
The food court is expensive. Cost about $50 for one adult and two kids for food and drinks.
Most ridiculous is that there is NO water station anywhere in the museum. I understood that water fountains are not safe in this pandemic. However, at least the museum should put water bottle fill stations.
Other than staying thirsty, your only option is to visit the cafe and pay $2.75 for a bottle of water.
In the cafe, there is NO plastic recycling for the plastic package and the water bottles. As a public institution, the museum should do better on recycling.

This is such an awesome museum. They have so many airplanes to look at. If you are an airplane enthusiast set aside at least a whole day to spend here. There is so much history in this museum. They also have some simulators you can try out, those cost money. Be warned, the cafe is very expensive. If you can I recommend eating elsewhere. The gift shop is awesome and has all kinds of cool things to get.

This place is a great learning experience for anyone who wants to know about military or the planes involved and the aircraft in general. Seeing it up close is a beautiful thing because from TV or just photos you can't really tell the true size of this place as well as the aircraft inside. Very beautifully taken care of great summertime fun nice and cool on the inside. Great for the whole family! Definitely worth visiting!!! They even have a gift shop and a food area.

It was an amazing experience! The museum is so huge, and there are so many different aircraft to see! Lots of experimental and hard-to-find aircraft, and from so many different time periods. There is also a large collection of presidential aircraft which you can walk through and a missile collection. An outstanding collection that you could easily spend a few days looking at. Great place for history enthusiasts and aviation nuts. Would highly recommend.

Awesome place from start to finish! The lady at the beginning who helped show us things on the map that we wanted to see was VERY helpful. This is an incredible place for aviation enthusiasts, people interested in history, little kids amazed by big vehicles, etc. Everyone should try to make it here at least once. Even the bathrooms were good, the facility was clean, and the gift shop had lots of good quality fun things to choose from. We'll definitely be back!

You can get a sweeping view of Air Force and military aviation progress at the National Museum of the United States Air Force, the world’s largest and oldest military aviation museum. There are more than 360 aircraft and aerospace vehicles on display, many rare and one-of-a-kind. In addition, you’ll find thousands of historical aviation artifacts. If you love the Air Force, aviation or the military in general, you will want to visit. We have been to several service national museums and this one is one of the best. Highly recommend visiting. Would definitely suggest to plan to visit with 4-5 hours available. Museum admission and parking are free (fee for theater and flight simulators).

I had a limited amount of time to view the display. I was blown away by the size of some of the aircraft. You just don't have a true feel for some of these aerospace vehicles until you're standing right next to it. Service is great. The facility was very clean. I took advantage of their free mobility cart because of an injury. I would not have been able to view much of the displays but I was able to make it through all the buildings without being an excruciating pain which is a win-win for me. I highly recommend it.

Simply incredible, and FREE to enter. So many amazing planes. Probably the only place you can see 2 different SR71 models in the same museum. Some other favorites there were the YF 23, F 117 and the B2. The prototype planes were neat too. It took me about two hours just to look at everything and read maybe 15%. If you are near and have more than 2 hours you need to go

I had a great 3 hours in the museum. I wasn't expecting so many air and space craft. It took quite a bit just to walk around. I got an hour tour of hanger 4 from Dennis - and it was AMAZING. Dennis served in the Air Force so he had his own stories but was incredibly knowledgeable about the entire museum and each plane. Just a fantastic experience. A must see!

Free to get in!
I recently visited the Air Force museum and was pleasantly surprised by the extensive indoor and outdoor exhibits they had to offer. The museum was filled with a lot of people, more than I had planned for, but it added to the energetic atmosphere of the place.
The indoor exhibits were informative and well-curated, showcasing the history and advancements of the Air Force over the years. I particularly enjoyed the displays of vintage planes and helicopters, as well as the interactive exhibits that allowed visitors to get a hands-on experience of what it's like to be a pilot.
The outdoor exhibits were equally impressive, with a wide range of aircraft displayed in an open-air setting. It was fascinating to see the different planes up close and learn about their unique features and capabilities.
One thing to note is that weapons are not allowed on the premises, so be sure to leave those at home. However, this didn't detract from the overall experience, as the museum had plenty of other interesting things to see and do.
Overall, I had a great time at the Air Force museum and would highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in aviation or military history. The exhibits were engaging, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and I left feeling enriched by all that I had learned during my visit.

This is hands down one of my favorite museums. I've been 4-5 times now and love bringing friends and family for their first time. The staff is fantastic and the tours are incredible. Lot of history and plenty of planes to see. It's definitely a place for all age groups, especially for those who love history and big planes. The place is huge so I'd encourage you to carry plenty of fluids. The entry into Air Force One was great, although it's not a newer plane. I would plan for a full day visit so you get ample time to see everything. Don't miss the theater show and be sure to check the show timings ahead of visit.

This place this incredible! To begin its 100% free! How can you beat that. Besides that this place is a history bombshell! Tons of history in this place beyond just military. They have stuff dedicated to the beginning of flight. Then they progress through flight throughout history starting with world war I moving to world war II then the Vietnam and korean war and moving to modern flight. The end is space flight and presidential planes. Awesome place. Interactive for kids and more information than you can take in for a single visit. Will have to return.

AWESOME experience! If you are a history museum fan, if you love airplanes, if you want to see the biggest collection of aero history in one place, you have to plan to visit!
The museum is free to attend. They ask for a donation. Parking is free and plenty of it. We walked through all the hangers and spent the entire day at the museum (which is so easy to do because there is so much to see!!). There are free guided tours (see website in advance to see times and hangers) that give so much information about the planes and history. I was at this museum when I was a kid- it’s been over 30 years- and now my first time back with my own kids, it was way better and far exceeded my expectations! My husband who is military, my 10 year old son- all completely blown away at this gem of a museum!
We will definitely be going back at some point! Worth doing again!
Do plan to spend the whole day.
Don’t forget the planes outside too!
There is a cafe. Only water in clear bottles allowed. But if you pack a cooler there are covered shelters outside for a picnic lunch.

The Dayton Air Force Museum is an absolute must-visit for anyone with even a passing interest in aviation, history, or the U.S. Air Force. This museum is a journey through the evolution of aviation and the incredible achievements of the United States Air Force.
Upon entering, you're greeted by an array of aircraft, from the early Wright Brothers' creations to the most advanced and iconic fighter jets of today. The collection is impeccably maintained, and the attention to detail in the exhibits is impressive.
What sets this museum apart is its commitment to storytelling. The exhibits are not just about hardware; they're about the people, the missions, and the impact of the U.S. Air Force on our world. The personal stories, dioramas, and interactive displays engage visitors of all ages.

What can I say. The National Museum of the US Airforce is fantastic. I have wanted to go here for years, as it’s the only place in the world with a real flying saucer. To say I was impressed is an understatement. We have nothing like this in the UK and it puts every air museum I have been to, including in Washington DC to shame.
If you like planes, this is one place you HAVE to visit. I went a long way out of the way when driving from Chicago to Niagara Falls to visit here and it was well worth it. Over 1000 planes, covering from the Wright Brothers; from just down the road; to the very latest F-22 and B2. Though it’s a shame the B2 isn’t real and not a very good mock-up.
I would definitely recommend visiting here and its one of few places worthy of a special trip to see it. You can easily spend all day here.

It's a huge museum and very well maintained ed. We are surprised it is FREE entry. Ample parking, free again.
It took us 3.5 hours to take a quick tour. There were many exhibits of real plane remains and stuff. Many movies playing every corner showing how the remains were collected and refurbished for display. We enjoyed. There were many other interactive stations, kids loved.
Start from exhibits 3 if you have kids. They have virtual reality and other simulation rides. Some other engaging exhibits for children there.
SUPER expensive food. Not worth it at all. A small slice of co-pilot pizza, charged at 8$. Way toooo much.

My visit to this museum was truly memorable and enjoyable. The extensive collection of presidential aircraft on display was both impressive and educational, offering a unique glimpse into the history of presidential travel. The exhibits were well-maintained and thoughtfully presented, making our walk through the museum a delightful experience. However, the only downside to our visit was the limited food options available at the museum's restaurant. Beyond just chips and small snacks, there wasn't much variety for a proper meal, which was a bit disappointing. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall experience at the museum was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in aviation or presidential history. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, adding to the positive atmosphere of our visit.

We had a great visit with an air force veteran. Most of the museum is accessible except for the space shuttle and Air Force One exhibits(the elevator to the upper level of the shuttle was out of order and the Presidential planes feature tight corridors you have to squeeze through). The Museum is well laid out and flows from one era of aviation to the next. Well worth the visit and you could definitely spend more than one day there to absorb everything there is to see.

I hadn't been here since I was a kid! I came here for the eclipse to see totality on 4/8/24; the event was extremely well organized. While the museum was very busy, the only claustrophobic moments were entering the building and using the bathroom closest to the entrance.
If you are anywhere in the Cincinnati-Dayton-Columbus area and you can take a day, visit this place. If you're an engineer in the aerospace industry, military, or just a huge fan of planes, this place will be heaven for you. Every important aircraft development in the history of the United States (and beyond) is included here.
The place is huge and packed full of details; bring your best walking shoes and pace yourself. If you don't have an entire day, get a map and find your favorites, then focus on seeing those. We spent about 3-4 hours split up by the eclipse and still could have spent another couple of hours in the place.
I left with a mix of feelings; it's a different experience when you're an adult. It has a way of getting your patriotism flowing; it is amazing what we can do when we put our minds to it. On the flip side of that, it is also frightening what we're capable of when we decide to do something; the missile gallery is a sobering reminder of this.
This castle, built in the '20s, features an extensive sword collection & riverside picnic areas.

This was a cool little stop I discovered using the Roadtrippers app. It was a fun place to visit, and I would recommend friends and family to visit if passing through. While the castle is very unique, it's more so the story of how it was made that makes it beautiful.
When you visit make sure to stop in the room with the video explaining how and why the castle came to be, and all of the love and effort put into it, and some background on the Knights of the Golden Trail.
When you come to visit, be careful driving down the road leading to the entrance as it is a steep slope and a very sharp curve. There are some picnic tables down by the river below the castle if you make this a scenic rest stop on your travels.

Sir Harry Delos Andrews built this castle and lived here too. It was interesting to hear his story and see the castle. It’s a self guided tour so you can spend as much time as you like walking through and around the grounds. The flowers were beautiful. The top level is being renovated but you can still go up the spiral staircase and take a peek at it. I enjoyed seeing the video interview of him speaking and telling stories. What a interesting life! If you see men walking around with orange shirts on those are the knights that still take care of the castle and grounds. The cost of $5 for adults is very reasonable and I was there about a hour and a half and took in everything! I got there right when they opened on a Friday morning and it wasn’t busy at all. If your in the area go check it out!!

Be sure to watch the videos that give the history of Sir Harry Andrews, the man who built Loveland Castle.
There is a room to the right of the main entrance that runs videos on a loop.
Anyone who has interest in the Renaissance would enjoy touring this one of a kind castle.
It is self guided so you can spend as much or little time as you wish.
Those keeping the castle open to the public are doing a good job. Admission is only $5.00, Children under 5 are free.

Only $5 per person to walk through. It doesn't take long to walk through. A lot of rooms are blocked off and you can't get to the roof. We enjoyed our short visit. It's definitely a place you go to only once in your life. I don't see myself ever going back. Nonetheless, uts interesting that he built the castle.
The sword room was neat and some.of the other collectibles we nice to look at.

Easily one of the neatest places that I've ever been. Full of history, every person representing the castle was very knowledgeable and helpful. Went with my daughter's as part of our New Years pact-go somewhere new once a month- worthy of the 4 1/2 hr drive! Even more amazing- that it was the life's work of a single man! Took about an hour to wander around inside and around the grounds and take tons of pictures 🙂

This place was such a small gem I found by chance! Imagine this - a castle built singlehandedly by one man in the 20th century who wanted a castle for him and his group of friends- *ahem* excuse me, his Knights of the Golden Trail. As a lover of medieval architecture myself and fantasy of any kind, coming here was a lot of fun, and the three men there were very friendly and informative. Would absolutely come back if not to hang out for a while and enjoy a nice day!

What an amazing place. One man did this back in the 1900s. History is such a cool thing. Beautiful, well maintained and very informative on who the man (Harry Andrews) was and his life leading up to the castle. Love having these experiences with the family dog friendly was my favorite part! Very cool place to visit. Won't take to much time out your day either! Go check it out

Such a great experience with so much interesting history. Worth the few hour drive we took, and we encourage anyone to visit! The area is motorcycle friendly, but be careful on the descending road down to the castle as there is some fine loose gravel over the pavement.

This space is amazing. The man who built this castle is inspiring. He truly understands the concept of giving and "paying it forward". Every piece 🧩 of this place has been made by his hands. The rocks came from the river and he created and formed each brick
that made the interior walls.
He was a man of vision and strong Christian values. That inspired the future generations with the creation of the " round table" which he used to send youth to college.
This is a great place to take the family. Children will love the variety of armored knights in the rooms as well as the wall of swords.
The grounds are creative with various flowerbeds including one with a dragon that appears to be coming out of the ground. It even has a dungeon with bone remains. Every part of this castle has been carefully and creatively done! At just 5.00/per person it won't break the bank either.

We love our new city! It's full of quirky surprises. Like this castle near Loveland. The history behind the building of it, as well as the gentleman behind the building, is fascinating. It's super affordable at $5. Lovely gardens, too. We took a picnic and our dog. A really fun couple of hours.

This is one of the most fascinating and unique places I've been to. The staff was very friendly and informative. You can do a self tour in about 45 minutes. My husband and I stayed about 3 hours just soaking in the uniqueness of this place. I just couldn't get enough of it.

This Castle was absolutely amazing!!! We loved seeing all the medieval details, swords, shields, gardens, dungeon, and even the dragon! A great way to study castles and knights with kids. I will say there was so much more educational emphasis on the man who built it instead of medieval times type stuff. But they allow you to self guide yourself through the entire property so that allows you to handle how much of that you intake.

Beautiful place, plentiful adventure, and a happy welcoming place where you can go canoeing, bring pets, only 5 dollars per person. 5 and under in years age is free. Ages 6 and up are 5 dollars each. Very amazing and beautiful experience.

Not the castle I expected, but I'm glad I went. Met some interesting folks and learned about the interesting guy who built it. It was only 5$ for adults. Kids get in free.

Loveland Castle is a gem of a curiosity in Ohio. Be sure to watch the three brief documentary films on the castle's late owner and builder, which are fascinating. The castle itself is full of fascinating artifacts, all of which have their own little stories, and the grounds are lovely at any time of year.
Kings Island is a vast amusement park with thrilling rides, including roller coasters and a wave pool. The park features a lifelike exhibit of dinosaurs that adds to the excitement. Along with restaurants, shops and novelties, Kings Island offers seasonal celebrations such as Halloween haunt and winter fest. With their 50th anniversary, they have added new attractions which makes it an exciting experience for visitors of all ages.
I've been to Kings Island several since I was young. I have always enjoyed it. There is literally a small community here of restaurants, shops and novelties. The rides are exceptional. They have even seemed to add a few new ones since my last visit. Their seasonal celebrations keep things fresh through the year. The family looks forward to their Halloween haunt and winter fest in the off season. We decided to get the gold pass this year considering it's their 50th anniversary. So far we are not disappointed. A large section of the park dedicated to the younger kids will help us get our money's worth. Especially with summer coming up we are really looking forward to the water park.

Went for Winter Fest 2022. Great experience for all ages. Amazing Christmas lights display, most of the little kids rides open, and about a dozen or so rides open for kids of all ages. There was various themed musical performance happening at almost every turn. Hot cocoa stands everywhere. They turn the fountain area into an ice skating rink ($). Lots of places to eat, and step inside to get warm. All handicap accessible.

It's a simply better version of Cedar Point. Way more relaxed. The wait times are shorter, and the rides seem to be working 90% of the time.
I will say, get the dining pass. The food is extra fantastic here. The BBQ place is excellent. On the same token, the drink pass is a great idea as well and a good value. You don't have to go far to find either a drink refill station or a eatery.
For parents with young kids, I will say this has a much better kids area than Cedar Point. Also, restroom cleanliness is pretty good for an amusement park, and the restrooms seem distributed better than other places.

King's Island is an incredible amusement park in Cincinnati! It offers a wide range of thrilling rides and attractions that cater to all ages. The park is well-maintained, clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
The variety of roller coasters at King's Island is impressive. From the exhilarating drops and twists of the Beast and Diamondback to the fast-paced thrills of Banshee and Mystic Timbers, there's a coaster for every thrill-seeker. The rides are well-designed and provide an unforgettable adrenaline rush.
In addition to the coasters, King's Island offers a great selection of other attractions. The water park, Soak City, is perfect for cooling off on hot summer days. The live entertainment shows are entertaining and add to the overall fun atmosphere of the park.
The dining options at King's Island are diverse and tasty. From classic amusement park fare like funnel cakes and hot dogs to more diverse options, there's something to satisfy every palate. The prices are reasonable, considering the quality and variety of food available.
One of the highlights of King's Island is the Eiffel Tower replica, which provides stunning panoramic views of the park. It's a great spot to take memorable photos and appreciate the beauty of the surroundings.
Overall, King's Island is a top-notch amusement park with thrilling rides, friendly staff, and a great selection of dining options. Whether you're a coaster enthusiast or looking for family-friendly fun, this park has it all. Highly recommended for an unforgettable day of adventure!

One of the best amusement parks in the country! Great rides and entertainment! 15 roller coasters in total! Planet Snoopy kids area is ranked among the top in the country every year. A lot of variety when it comes to eating including restaurants and food stands. Great shopping is also offered for all your souvenirs! Park is extremely clean! The staff is wonderful and will answer any and all of your questions! Plenty of parking in the massive parking lot. Definitely a must visit if you love rides and attractions! You will not be disappointed and have a blast!

First time at King’s Island! There was always an allure to the park when I would drive past it on 71. I got to go during the Christmas Lights, so a couple rides were open but most of the big ones were shut down. Still a great time! Did bumper cars, ate some carnival food, rode the alien ride, got some great photos. A great day full of great memories. My heart will always be with Cedar Point (my first love) but I’m excited to come back to King’s Island in the summer.

I love Kings Island. This park has always been fun, but, over the last fifteen years or so, it has been transformed into a first class place. So many great coasters, including some, like Orion, Diamondback, Mystic Timbers, and Banshee, that are the best anywhere, along with classics like The Beast and The Racer, and a ton of smaller yet still fun rides, like The Bat, one of the last Arrow swinging coasters, and the Arrow mine train, Adventure Express. Combine this great coaster collection with an impressive selection of flat rides, excellent staff and operations, exclusive merchandise, local food, top notch cleanliness, a great kids area, and so many fun celebrations like Haunt and Winterfest, and you have a park that's easy to get to and easy to spend the whole day. Go there, run back to Orion for your first ride of the day (and jump back on if you can) and leave time for the train and the antique cars and a trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Plus save room for blue ice cream!

Love this amusement park- both the roller coasters and Soak city. We enjoyed the rides in the morning, then Skyline chili for lunch, and went to the water park in the afternoon. Wonderful variety of tubes, body slides, two wave pools, plenty of lounge chairs too. We went in a Fri and the lines were manageable- long for some rides, not too long for others. The Beast does not disappoint! My husband and I rode the Racer back in 1998 when it went backwards, but it no longer does, so we rode it again for old times sake, still fun ride! We enjoyed the fireworks at 10pm, and had Graeters ice cream to end the night. Terrific day!

Kings Island was extremely fun! Definitely come earlier in the day to make your moneys worth because it can get pretty expensive. I loved all the rides I went on. Diamondback and Orion had huge drops that had me holding on for dear life and personally, the scariest ones for me were Flight over Fear and the Banshee. Food options over at Kings Island were also good and there was a good amount of scary and fun rides. If you want a relaxing but also thrilling ride, I definitely recommend Whitewater Canyon, it was personally one of my favorites.

This is a really nice amusement park! We have the annual gold season pass which is great. We also booked the food and drink pass which pays off by them self if you life nearby.
The roller coaster 🎢 are a lot of fun and fits from young until old 😀
The water park is also great, you’re able to spend hours 😀😀
Food: don’t expect a high class restaurant… but some of them are really good compared with the amount of food which they have to provide.
We love this park, it’s safe and great for visiting.

This place is awesome! Kings island is the third best theme park I’ve ever gone to (first is Epcot, and second is magic kingdom). I’m a chicken on coasters, and the beast, mystic timbers, and backlot stunt coaster is the best. As a Cincinnati local, it is always nice to go up to ki for a couple hours to ride the beast and leave. Worth the money every time.

Absolutely impressive!! I’m blown away by what a beautiful park this is. I’ve been to all the major parks around the country and this is in the top 3. There’s something for everyone, all ages and food galore. Fright Fest is amazing, decorated top-notch. The passes are a super good deal and includes parking which saves you $25 bucks! They also aid the disabled with more than reasonable accommodations.

This park really has some great rides now with the addition of Orion. While there I noticed that the park was kept clean and the employees I interacted with were very friendly. Another thing noticed is that there was a good amount of security personnel as well. There are also some older rides here that are a bit shaky, but I was quite surprised with mystic timbers since I last rode it in 2017 when it opened and it's still a smooth wooden coaster. I also got food here and it was quite good. Lastly the weekdays at this park are usually light so not allot of wait times.

Was delighted to see that the park that I had such wonderful childhood memories from 2 family visits had not only held up, but had exceedingly improved over the years. Highly recommend spending at least two days here if you are coming from out of town to get a chance to ride everything that you want. Great family atmosphere, and though our son is now old enough to ride all the big coasters, there is a great kiddie land for the little ones as well.

Had a great time. It had been way too long since the last time I was there. Really enjoyed the Orion and Diamond Head. We were there for a private event and then got to stay and check out the Haunt. If you enjoy Halloween and all the spooky displays and haunted houses etc. You will really enjoy Kings Island Haunt. We sure did!!!

We had a wonderful family weekend. The service by employees was outstanding. The food was just as good. All rides were operating and their Halloween haunt was set up as spectacular as always! We got fast lane passes and every dollar spent on this trip was well worth the memories! I’d like to add that my son has a cardiac pacemaker and the security did a fantastic job recognizing his ID card and knowing just what to do and not do. It hasn’t always been that way at KI and it’s obvious they are now trained well and everything went smoothly with that too!! Thank you KI for getting everything right!❤️

Winterfest 2023. Great time, they claim to have 7 million lights this year and I believe them. Many different themed branches of the park with lights on every surface. The parade was a blast for all ages and really brought out the Christmas spirit in everyone. Only downside would be the lack of rides but I was fine with not getting frostbite from the Orion.

Pretty fun amusement park, especially during Christmas time when they have the ice rink up. It is certainly Ohio based with certain features like corn and chili, but they have some awesome gluten-free options which are particularly nice. I have only gone during December, so I can’t say for sure, but both times the staff were oddly unfriendly. It’s definitely no Disney, but it is nice.

So I'm from California, where know is open 365 days a year, this place was open for a very short period of time, they were open until x12/31 and open back up 04/29 yet season passes for 5, meal plans and drinks plans plus the park plan cost me over $2000, for less than half a year of fun is not very worth it. Now i have to admit they have rides better then the ones comparable to knotts, but i could go to knows any day i want and eat and ride all i want. Plus my meal plan didn't transfer correctly and i had the platinum plan

Came for Winter fest December 2023 and what a treat!!! Bought tickets in advance and through security and ticket line with a very small wait.... What an entrance with the ice skating rink in the front/middle and lined with all sorts of pieces to eat and multiple options, then in the backdrop the Eiffel Tower draped with memorizing hundreds of feet long stands of lights, just a thing of beauty!!!! Hot chocolate options all over and sweet shops around every corner.... Great job owners and management as every single staff member we ran across ( which had to be 50+ ) was very nice and polite....roller coasters of course down for the winter but they had a bunch of rides available for the little ones to the bigger kiddos.... Can't wait to be back

It's a really good amusement park. It's well-staffed, with washrooms nearby and food options available at most corners, although the food prices are a bit high, as expected. The parking lot is quite spacious. I particularly enjoyed the Mystic Timbers ride as it's pretty fast.
We did the kidnapping room and had so much fun. The room and clues were so smart and so well played together. There was a group of 8 of us and we all were able to partake without feeling unneeded or that there were too many people in the room. Our game master, Ryan, was great and so fun to work with. Highly recommend Breakout Games and we will definitely be back to try out the other rooms!

Our Girl Scout Troop had so much fun doing the breakout rooms. They accommodated us with two different games and rooms for the size of our group. We had two different game masters. The group I was with had Val, who was AMAZING. We had a younger group who were very nervous, cautious, and get scared easily but she was absolutely sweet and gave us good hints or warned us when things might pop out. What was really great about Val is that she was so encouraging even though we didn't finish in the time limit. I would hands down go back again and request Val!!

It was an amazing and fun experience. I took my girlfriend out to escape from one of the rooms and we managed to do it with the two of us. It was challenging, thrilling and fun all at the same time. I recommend everyone to give it a try. The experience was even better thanks to our game master Ryan. He was able to help us when we were stuck but not give the answers away. Carillon Historical Park is a 65-acre historical park located in Dayton, Ohio that showcases the many important innovations in transportation that have originated from the area. The Park contains 25 historically significant buildings, including the 1905 Wright Flyer III, the world's first practical airplane and National Historic Landmark, as well as exhibits about Dayton's contributions to World War II. The park also features a brewery and an exhibit about the 1913 flood that struck Dayton.
Perfect for the family!
Whether it’s the history, the natural scenery, or the interactive areas the Carillon Historical Park is a landmark that will be enjoyed by the whole family. Truthfully, you could spend all day here or split it up amongst a few days. The museum has both indoor and outdoor area to be entertained which is great depending on the time of year. We look forward to coming back through the seasons!
We really enjoyed the food at the Brewery as well!

I had a lot of fun exploring the park and museums. It took about 2.5 hours to get through about half of the park. There's more buildings than I could fit in a single trip. Not sure if there's enough left to warrant a second trip but I'd recommend visiting once if you're in the area.

Carillon Historical Park is an absolute gem, blending rich history, innovation, and natural beauty into a seamless experience. What truly enhances the visit are the very friendly employees, who eagerly approach visitors with fascinating information about the exhibits, adding depth and engagement to the experience. A delightful surprise is the on-site printing company that crafts cards with kids' names free of charge, a charming touch that delights both young visitors and their families. Additionally, the Carillon Brewing Co. provides a taste of history with its historically accurate brewing process, making it the perfect spot to conclude a day of exploration. Carillon Historical Park is not just about revisiting the past; it's a vibrant, educational outing where history comes alive through passionate storytelling, making it a must-visit for anyone interested in exploring America's rich technological and cultural heritage in a beautifully curated and welcoming environment.

The Cafe is absolutely off the charts amazing. The Culp Burger & fires were amazing. I tired the phosphate blue raspberry drink & it was amazing. Definitely would recommend visiting & eating here. It is somewhat expensive at the Cafe, but I believe worth the money. Entry into the park is reasonable price as well.

This place is a nice area to go for a walk and to experience the history of the railroad and The Wright brothers.
$12 for adults and 3 and under are free admission. Train rides are available base on a schedule. Mini train rides for children and grownups as well that last about 5-8 minutes long. The park itself is nice and well keep. Restaurant on sight and clean restrooms are available along with wheelchair parking.
Come here for a nice outing with family. It was a great experience and something to do that can take up most of your day and get fresh air as well as learning something new 🙂.

A great experience overall with a lot of incredible history. I love that the goal is to build up Dayton and all the incredible people who played a part in its history.
Admittedly I did come with a school so things are probably ran a little different when there are busloads of students coming at once.
Employees are a little intense about who qualifies for train rides and carousel rides. Why not just include it in admission prices?
I understand you need to make money but also the kids already paid to get in, is that dollar really making that big of a difference if the train is already running and so is the carousel?

The cash registers were very fascinating and a really cool look into the history of commerce in this country. Some of the museum inside felt a bit like capitalistic propaganda at times, but that's how these old products were sold in those times and it was fascinating nonetheless.
We also checked out the Wright museum and the old houses and school house as well as the train museum here. The tour of the Wright brothers' first few planes was really great. Seeing the reconstruction of the 1905 flyer was really awe inspiring. The amount of human ingenuity on display in this museum was palpable and really hit home as to the huge strides in technology we've been achieving over the last 200+ years.
The train museum was also really fun to see. Going inside the old trains and imagining how traveling worked back in those times was also really great to see.
For some reason, this museum made for a more impactful experience of human history than a lot of other museums out there. It's a museum of human progress and human genius instead of human setbacks and human tragedies. I really enjoyed it and the next time we're in Dayton with the kids, we'll for sure be going back and maybe take a train tour of the grounds next time!

I didn’t know what to expect from this museum/historical park, but I was pleasantly surprised! Lots of interesting history and fun facts about the innovators and entrepreneurs from Dayton. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. And of course, they have a Wright Flyer! Definitely worth a visit.

The park is beautiful with the Christmas lights and the views are awesome. Lines are fairly long on the weekend, and do buy tickets in advance...or buy a membership. It's well worth it.
Food options are standard, but there's a nice selection of adult beverages, including Glühwein/mulled wine. Lots of unique, "Dayton" gift options. The note cards made in the print shop were lovely.
All of the historical displays are open. The Carillon "tree" is breathtaking.
Go, only Scrooge or Grinch would be disappointed. And I'm sure they'd change their minds after a train ride around the park.

One of the best museums in the state, 14 dollars is more than fair to enter, especially with the history that is preserved within. Absolutely fascinating place. It requires more than a day, you should dedicate 2 days. The print shop, Wright Brothers, Kettering ACDelco, NCR....so much to see.

One of my favorite places in the city. I love hanging out watching for the Eagles who have a made their home here from several years ago. I remember when I was young my mom took my sister and I over by the river and all of these people were holding hands making a human chain together on each side of the banks. (I was so young I don't remember why. I just know it was a neat memory for me and I was happy I got to be there.) I recently went to A Carillon Christmas and had a great time! Took the train ride which was my favorite part. Took home some keepsakes from the gift shops. The bells looked beautiful and you can see it from the new train there or walk right up. Wonderful place. I'll be there looking for the Eagles on a nice day while reminiscing about all the great times I've had there.

I was born and raised near Dayton, and hadn’t visited Carillon Park since I was in 5th grade. It has expanded so much, and truly does a brilliant job at transporting its visitors back in time. I took my daughter and two friends here, and we had a blast! It helps that we all enjoy museums, art and history, and attended on a perfect Fall weekday. We spent a solid 4 hours walking around and really observing everything. The staff was wonderful and was quick to give us more insights into the history. Highly recommend for any and all ages! I definitely left having learned something new. Will gladly visit again!
Beautiful and peaceful park. I love taking walks here. There are lots of trails if you’re feeling more adventurous or you can just walk along the paved areas.

Beautiful park! There are a ton of trails. There are concrete ones or you can do the trails in the woods. Very clean, lots of things to see. I especially enjoyed the convered bridge. Very dog friendly! We'll definitely be back!
Update* if you go past the covered bridge there are ponds with turtles, fish, and more trails!

I really hate this park mostly because I feel there's too many people there and a lot of my favorite spot is pretty crowded with people all over the place.
Even up here on the corner.
Still a great view but hard to enjoy sometimes.
I hope I'm not the only one that feels this way.
I'd also say if you are visiting Denver and are considering this park then you should check out Children's Hospital for where to park.
It's easy to enjoy eating.

Beautiful park. Well paved paths. Dog friendly. Lots of spots to access the water.
Only negative is the lack of decent maps showing the paths- can be confusing till you’ve been around a few times!
Also- the main gate seems to be closed most of the times I’ve been there, but if you drive down to the left of the gate, there is another parking lot by the playground.

This is the most beautiful park in the area. Hands down. Sidney is small, and we have some problems goin ons. But all in all we are lucky to have a nice town. And this park is a reason why. Please visit it. It's open year round and it is a very peaceful experience. A tip for the good spots is the very back. Off pavement and the trail less traveled always seems to have this magical feel to it. Being in the seemingly endless trees as damselflies skitter about feels like a storybook.

One of the best parks in West Central Ohio! Paved, gravel and dirt paths of all elevations. Multiple playgrounds for kids, fishing the Great Miami River, numerous covered bridges for very photogenic areas makes this park offer something to everyone. Check it out! Fall is a great time to visit too!

Definitely my favorite park and certainly worth the drive as it's a big park, the grounds are very clean and multiple play grounds for kids, this park also has a few trails if you wanted to take a hike. The only reason I didn't leave 5 stars is if you want to drive to the back of the park you have cross an extremely narrow road where you can barely squeeze 2 cars in and its on top of a pretty large hill

Beautiful Park. Wonderful walking trails .very eye-catching Covered Bridge. Amazing place for photographs, fishing , picnics, family reunions or just time alone..
Sizable outdoor museum showcasing a variety of sculptures in meadow, forest & garden settings.
Day 3 on vacation and my girls were exhausted from all the hiking and walking. I am really happy that there is a driving Gallery Loop that allowed us to stay in the cat. There are parking areas along the loop if you want to stop and get up close to the sculptures or just enjoy the scenery. I came across 2 restroom buildings along the loop. There are a lot of sculptures along the loop and many that can't be viewed from the loop. You can rent a golf cart, that I do recommend so that you can see more without the limitation of being in the car and less walking. Some part of the loop, the road is pretty steep up hill and down hill, and narrow. The highlight of my visit is seeing the cats and a racoon eating cat food. I heard there are several of raccoons living under the deck. So cute!

Great place if you enjoy hiking and art. Also you can just enjoy the art from the car, or enjoy a nice hike.
Be warned if you decide to walk the whole way there's very steep hills to go up and down.
Also as there's lots of places to park, you are free to do a hybrid of the two options.

Very nice place, beautiful and clean. I walked the path and it was not terrible. The two big hills were a bit much but do-able. Take snacks and drinks if your going to be there a while, there is not much available. It took me about 2 hrs to walk the whole thing.

This is a great thing to do a little expensive 10 dollar admission per adult, and it is wheel chair friendly. You can use your car to drive around, but you can rent an art cart (golf cart) for 20 to 25 dollars an hour. It was so fun get the golf cart you can off road and get up close and personal to the art there is so much to see, lots of cool little areas must do at least once!!

This place is amazing who loves sculptures,Arts and Hiking. There is a entry free of 10 usd for adults and 5 usd for ages from 6 years to 12 years. This is a must go place for people who lives near hamilton, ohio. There is a ancient sculptures Museum which countians sculpture from greek, egyptian and Syrian region dated back about 4 thousands years ago. There are also some trails here who loves hiking. You can have cart for travelling. But it is better to roaming around on feet to feel nature and art works. There are lots of small lakes also available. In the visiting centre you can find some snacks, drinks and souvenir. There are enough restrooms available. It is better to brings some snacks and lots of water if you prefer to visit by walking as there is lot of hilly area.

Really interesting. Lots of the sculptures were dated to the 60's and 70's iron works. Other more updated ones were very original. The monolithic stones were my favorite. Sculpture and nature.. hand in hand. You can also rent golf carts to travel around the park. Want to go back in the summertime.

This is definitely one of the more unique locations my fiancé and I have visited. We rented the golf cart since we hadn't used one in forever and made the gallery loop once, then used our own car to hit the loop again, park here and there, and explore things more thoroughly. The sculptures and displays are definitely eye catching, and the overlook at the very top of the loop has an excellent view of the surrounding country. Be warned that the times to visit the Pyramid House are very limited and rigid, but otherwise we both enjoyed ourselves. Would definitely come again!

Great photography opportunity with an option to rent a golf cart in order to get closer to the sculptures. Peaceful setting and would be a great place to pack a picnic lunch and rent the golf cart to find a serene place for lunch. Pay the extra fee and rent the cart! You'll have so much more fun.

Expansive public school known for its scenic campus, museums & liberal arts programs.
No matter the season, this campus is a beautiful place to be! It has all the feelings of being in a Hallmark holiday movie.. the campus is absolutely gorgeous..The Fall foliage, to the flowers that are planted along campus during the spring and Summer.. or the gorgeous art and architecture that is around with the beautiful winter snow.. Mami university.. Oxford, Ohio.. is a beautiful place to visit, attend school, explore, live..
Carey Marie — Google review
Its a bit hard to rate an entire university. I'll preface this with the fact that I'm rating from a students perspective and won't be factoring in cost to attend in my review.
First, the university is big and beautiful. All the old brick buildings give a nice general vibe to the campus. Uptown is also a nice social hub for the weekends, fit with bars, restaurants, and Bagel and Deli. There are plenty of people on campus to befriend and plenty of clubs to find like minded people with.
Second, the classes. I've had great classes so far, not finding any "bad" professors. For context, my classes have revolved around computer science and math. Mileage may vary, I haven't taken every class.
Third, the food. The included meal plan gives access to meal halls which have a wide array of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some items, like cereal or pizza, are guaranteed every day of the week, with other entrées being cycled out each day. Its good at first,, but these dining halls are functuonally mean to be eaten at daily. After a while of that, the food quickly becomes just edible. The Armstrong center has a bunch of restaurants that require payment like normal, however they don't accept meal plan swipes or their equivalent value, something I've seen in much smaller universities. This food is actually good, but eating here isn't sustainable for the aforementioned reason. Paying at these locations means you're really paying twice. Once for the food, and again for the meal swipe you've essentially wasted. For this reason, I've taken a star.
Lastly, I feel safe on campus. Their transparency with active police activity sent to your email along with their crime and fire reports each year indicate this campus is a pretty safe place to be. Its in basically the middle of nowhere, the campus being its own town. In fact, Miami University outsources their own police department to the town its inside of.

Campus may look nice but academically they have a lot of work to do. The math department is one of the worst and they don't do anything to fix it. For the cost of attendance, being a student, it is not worth it.

We just purchased the Professional HD. When we took it out of the box the logo was bent and peeling off. Very disappointing after spending so much money. Needs better quality assurance control. I know they had a backlog of orders to process but still this is no excuse.
I hope we find nothing else wrong and that this was just a small mistake. Made in America is great and so should the quality.

Once a year we go to the KitchenAid Experience to shop during the Greenville sidewalk sales, and what a great time! Lines were long, but people were patient and pleasant. Hard to look at everything due to lines and what I really wanted didn't go on sale until Saturday. However, they do take phone orders, know your item SKU, if possible. I think someone said free shipping on orders over $50. Fun to do once, but I'll shop online or via phone next time. 😉

The trail is well designed and maintained, I biked from Richmond to Muncie and back in late March 2024. For people who are biking long distances, we really need the water sources turned on, I realize that they are turned off due to possible freezing weather. Otherwise it was a good workout

Perfect , great Trail , rode Muncie to Richmond and back. The Trail was clear and I’ll absolutely go back as the staff in the Train Depot (office) answered all of my questions and were very friendly. Great ride and worth the drive.

The depot is a wonderful old restored train station building that serves people who use the Cardinal Greenway. However, I was somewhat unhappy with my most recent visit. I had a friend from Brazil visiting me with his girlfriend. They were doing a roadtrip across the US, so I offered to take them on a 3-mile hike along the Cardinal and White River Greenways. I started by showing them the Little Free Library and then the inside of the Depot. As soon as we entered, I had them sign the guestbook. As they were doing that, a woman behind the counter said "Can I help you?" She was not smiling at all. I told her that I was just showing them around. We looked at some of the historic photos on display and then checked out the gift shop. We were waiting for my brother to show up, since he would be walking with us, so we sat down at the table there. The woman walked up to us and asked, "Is there some sort of a problem?" I politely told her that we were just waiting for my brother, since he was on his way to hike with us. Then after some minutes, we left. The woman said nothing. She seemed to resent us being there.
The following day, my Brazilian friend realized that he had lost his wallet. So he was checking at all the places he had visited. I stayed in the car while he and his girlfriend checked at the Depot. The same woman was there. She told him no one had found a wallet. Before they left, they took another look inside the gift shop. The woman immediately followed them in and said, "I thought you came here regarding a wallet." So they left.
Since none of the places we checked had my friend's wallet, we went back later that day to retrace the steps of our hike. This time we stayed out of the Depot. Amazingly, he actually did find his wallet. He also came across someone's dropped credit card. He actually felt it was necessary to turn it in at the Depot, in case the owner thought to look for it there. So back we went. I stayed outside. He told me she had actually been somewhat friendly that time and even smiled. But she also talked a lot about how the Greenway is supported by contributions from donors. He said he had the impression that she was hoping they would become donors. If that's true, it's kind of strange that she would think that foreign tourists would sign up to become donors.
Anyway, I just felt like getting this off my chest. The Depot used to be a wonderful resource for trail users. The first time I went visited it, the fellow working there was extremely helpful. He made sure I had a map and answered all my questions. But now it's apparently being run by someone who doesn't like to deal with the public. I will definitely continue to use the Greenway and the Depot parking lot, but I don't plan to go back inside the Depot any time soon.

This is the centerpiece Cardinal Greenway Trailhead featuring free off street parking, gift shop, benches, restrooms, air conditioned building and beyond the fence an active freight rail line. Secure and safe place to park and begin your ride or walk/run. Neat setting, historic building, restrooms , water fountain. I only wish the parking lot had more shade.
Park centered on prehistoric monuments also offers hiking, fishing, swimming, camping & more.
This park has good amenities for young children, including a nature center, easy trails close to parking, and a playground. Their playground could use some updates but my 2.5 year old was still able to play and have a great time. The playground was shaded during the summer and early fall when we were there, making it a great option on a warm day but beware it may be damp if you go in the morning. They had recently redone the walking path near the great mound and it all looked great. My kids loved the nature center and all the animals they were able to see up close. Hoping to go back for programming at the park.

Short version: unless you are going for a walk, or talking pictures in the fall, I’d go to another state park over this one.
This is a very unique place that can be fun if you either just want to go for a walk through nature or perhaps have already seen many of the other wonderful state parks around Indiana. The reason I gave this 3 stars is due to the lack of interesting sights. The mounds are just as interesting to read about as they are to see and it’s not very interesting at that. While it’s not perfect, the main trail goes by a lovely stream that blows a cool breeze in the summer and the trees are lovely in the fall for stunning family photos or portrait sessions.
The trails are well maintained and loop back in a short easy to follow path. Be sure to pick up a map from the nature center!

Eh. The bathrooms are only convenient to the people beside them or in front of them. Depending on where you are in the park it's quite a hike to the bathroom. They don't have sidewalks or anything leading to the bathroom so you have to walk on the main roads. Or you'd be walking through someone's campsite. The women's bathroom is so small no matter what you do when you open that door or close the door you're gonna have to back up onto the toilet so you don't hit yourself with the door. I didn't hike we just camped for the eclipse not one of the best parks I've been to. The hiking looks great. The staff is very friendly. A man was complaining because they have not had hot water for Showers for a couple of days and it's not going to be fixed for a couple of weeks. The electricity went out they look like they are working on it, but we left. There was not a lot of shade because of the time of year the trees did not have leaves, just keep that in mind if you go, a canopy would be nice.

Well worth the visit. But I did lose $5 in 1 hour at the penny slots. We charged the Tesla enough to make it to and from our trip.
I've never been here before, and this place is huge, and quite entertaining. I'll definitely stop here every time we travel. The Tesla charging 40amp makes this place a no brainer if you need an extra 30 miles to make it wherever you're going and get back home.
Mind you, I'm not a gambler. But I'll gladly give you my cash in exchange for free charging while parking right next to the front door. No brainer. Sadly the J1772 charger was damaged on the same station. No worries though, I had a great experience. The staff are super awesome and polite, and ultra helpful. Thank you very much, you've got a customer for life.

They change their rules whenever they feel like it. No where have I ever played where there is a minimum (per bet). I understand it's a $25 table meaning you must put no less that $25 on the outside or inside. Not $25 per bet for each bet. People who want to come play and enjoy their time are not wanting to only make 4 bets on a roulette table. 🤦 don't waste your time because clearly they are just hungry for money making and push people out who are just here to have a good time.

I haven't seen that before... overall nice place.. great variety of games... not very loose but if you know how to play.. it's on... I'll be back to Anderson my next trip to Indiana

I love the remodel.... And lots of new games..
We go just about every week and still can't win no more than $200.00.😥 can't even get free games anymore no matter what we bet. But we do love what you all did with the remodeling of it. Bigger more space and still spending too much money not to win something bigger.

Love the track here. This place has been under construction for awhile now and they've finally got the new entrance open.. looks fabulous except the trash cans were overflowing onto the ground. Ive seen their cleaning crew and they are on their game, but the outside new entrance was not as I would have expected.

I hate casinos, but I like horses. Didn't win at either one. Clean environment, the horse track and vip tent were right on point. This race, this weekend October 27 to Oct 29 is the one you want to see. Our horse didn't win. If you go bring money, unless you slick enough and don't gamble. But for those who do,awesome place to drop your mortgage and your kids collage fund. Jk gamble responsible. But I had a great time and enjoyed my night.

I go to the Casino pretty regularly and have spent a lot of $$$$ there, I've been going early in the morning lately. Apparently they collect the cash from the machines in the morning. On my way out today this long haired punk that is employed there told me that I can't walk there and before I could take a step he repeatedly himself, I was also checked for a weapon at the front door that turned out to be my wallet that I've had every time I've been there! Low class moves and low class employees, I'll be taking my business elsewhere! If you don't want to be harassed be the staff I would suggest you do the same!!! Pukes!!!

I really liked this Casino. Slots, table games, and horse racing. What more could you ask for? The new addition is fresh and nice. Self serve soda stations. It was honestly great. Crapless craps was the icing on the cake!

Apparently this company likes to fire people wrongfully and let's other coworkers falsely make claims about other coworkers on multiple occasions and doesn't do anything about it. Not to mention the will suspended only one person for cussing but let the other party who was also cussing work their shift. There is so much favoritism in the EVS aka Housekeeping department I wouldn't recommend anyone working there. They need to get new management in that department.

The games were good and drinks and food were good. You may wander, why only 3 stars? I got jipped out of 10 dollars on Christmas Day. I wanted to use my credit card to put 10 dollars for games by donating to a charity. She said I had to use cash. So I did. When I used the casino card it didn’t come up. The 10 dollars I put on the card towards games. I told that same lady. She said try again. I tried. It didn’t work. We all made peace with the fact that I was cheated out of 10 dollars. It is a good place to go to. Just don’t donate to charity. They may cheat you.

A solid Casino but a little cramped in my opinion. Slots are close together, tables are a always packed and though to sit down at. Nice bar and entertainment area with a solid selection of food. Sports book is mediocre at best. Not well ventilated either and I’m a smoker. Not great, but not bad.
Always try to make this a priority stop when on the road. Very easy parking for the RV, lots of shops to choose from - our faves are Nike and Under Armour. Several others get our money, too! Like the fun little rides for kids entertainment while the adults shop🙂. 6pm in a Saturday and it wasn't very busy at all. Shops close early or on-time. Be sure to leave time to hit the ones at the top of your list.

Great outlet. Best mall around. Prices are ok. I wish they were a little better than store prices. You can find some good deals if you look hard. Clean. Has a kid play area to let the kids burn some energy.

We arrived at a good time and each store we went to weren’t full which is great for a Saturday! There are all kinds of stores to choose from with good prices which is amazing! I seen that some workers were quite judgy especially the big brands which kind of bothered me but the mall overall is great!

Visited a half dozen stores in the outlet mall on a week day and was pleasantly surprised that I had no problems finding a parking spot by any store I wanted to stop at, the stores were not busy during the time I went(which was noonish on a weekday). The stores had great sales and great selection. Love thus mall!!

Love it! Frequent here when passing through on road trips to Chicago. Always able to find the right outfit/shoes for last minute items not in my suitcase. The Crocs store is my favorite store here. Always can find good deals.

This is only addressing the 2 electric ‘charging’ stations that are near one of the side entrances. They don’t work. I did call in to the Help number on the screen and apparently the payment system was not working. However, they were able to unlock the unit, which allowed me to charge without payment.

If you're a bargain hunter then try to make a day of it, shopping for some of the finest designer labels and leading brands at decent savings at 85 outlet shops located in Edinburgh between Indianapolis and Louisville. The outlets is featured with tremendous parking area and several hotels and restaurants in the vicinity. I believe the outlets still need some of the leading designer shops to make shopping more enjoyable.

This is a standard outlet mall. You’ll find all of the big name outlet brand stores here. The exteriors of the buildings are looking worn and there is no food court to speak of - although there are several restaurants bordering the property. We had a reasonably good time back to school shopping for our kids.

Indiana Premium Outlets serves as a great shopping pleasure providing a variety of lots of great items all priced very competive. Great location at the north east corner of highway 31 at I-65 in Taylorsville/Edinburgh Indiana just 6 miles north of Columbus and 30 miles south of Indy. Location has a ton of parking lot surrounding the entire complex with plenty of at the front door HANDICAP parking and building access. Complex in all on first floor providing rest rooms and eateries on site plus there's lots of different eateries along hwy 31 and 4 motels.
Outdoor concert venue brings in major tours & festivals of all popular musical stripes.
Pretty nice venue! Great for concerts.. Some seating is in actual seats under a pavilion, the rest are lawn seats. If you are in the lawn seats, expect large crowds and an overwhelming smell of marijuana. If you want a good spot with lawn seats you need to get there super early, as it is first come first server. As with any venue, the concession prices are absolutely outrageous.

Has a BLAST at the Zac Brown Band concert! Love the blankets you could buy to sit on. Food and drink lines were reasonable. Security was strong and the show was awesome. We always love soaking up the sunset and music having a picnic in the grass seats.

Dion... you are awesome, this man needs a raise!!!! Dion went above and beyond to make sure everyone was settled and happy. If you weren't happy, he took you around on his golf cart to find another spot that might fit your needs.
I have to thank Ruoff Music Center and their workers for treating us like humans. We had been following Dead and Company for about a month, and you were the only venue that didn't have a nasty attitude or yell at us. A lot of us didn't agree with the parking arrangements but that didn't take away from the kindness shown to us by the workers. Indiana was my family's last stop on tour, and you really helped us end it on a good note.

I even got to work here for a couple of concert seasons. It was amazing!! Definitely arrive as early as possible, and just be patient!

Awesome experience, really nice setup. Went and seen Chris Stapleton with a party of 6 and it was amazing. Very packed when we went due to it being over capacity😂 26 thousand people attended. Would love to go here again.
Drink selection is good but not cheap! 14 for a beer, shots are 16. More expensive selection of both if wanted. Plenty of bathrooms everywhere. Nachos and other snacks available aswell.
Tip - don't show up too early, otherwise you'll be sitting in parking lot trying to get out for 45 minutes after. The people who showed up late were parked in the back so they got out first!
Highly recommended!!!

We saw Phish on June 2022 at “Deer Creek.” We stayed at the Sleepybear Campground across the street. It was very convenient to just walk across the street rather than try to brave parking. The lines were long but moved fast. Security was efficient. I suggest you bring extra water bottles (new & factory sealed.) The venue is really cool if there’s good weather. We were on the grass, and you could see clearly and hear everything! We’ll definitely be back!

Best outdoor amphitheater in the Midwest! If you get lawn tickets in the summer and want to avoid sitting in the sweltering sun, arrive at least 2 hours early and sit nearest the awning as far north (to the right of the stage) as you can. This will put you in the shade earliest. Be sure to get a clear bag to bring your goodies in so you aren’t forced to bring it back to your car or dump it.

This is a really nice venue! There are concession stands and places to actually sit down and eat. It almost has an amusement park feel to it as you walk through. If you have a seat in the pavilion, there is literally not a bad seat. We sat in the back section and I was surprised with just how close we still were. The lawn is kind of steep though. I was a little disappointed with how high some of the prices were with the concessions. For example, a bourbon "shaker" was over $20 just for one and a hamburger and fries were $14. I had just been to another concert in Ohio and the prices were not this high, so I'm not sure if this is just standard in the area. I definitely recommend this venue though. It's beautiful and the parking isn't too crazy. You don't have to walk really far to the lot. It needs to be noted that if you want to buy alcohol you need your ID no matter how old you are. You have to show your ID at every single place to purchase alcohol.

I took my son to his first concert…Luke Bryan at Ruoff. This was my fist time to see a concert there since before the pandemic, and we had a great experience. We had reserved seats (v. the lawn), and the staff members that we encountered were friendly and helpful. I was also impressed with the amenities, selection of food and beverage and the sound. Do yourself a favor and purchase the premium parking. It’s worth every penny.

I went to see Jelly Roll and it was a sold out show. Besides it being jam packed it was a all in all great time. The staff we encountered were super nice and helpful. I haven’t been in so long and a lot has changed. I definitely plan on going back soon again. I sent an email to inquire about something and they returned it quickly. All in all a great experience. They also sent out many informative emails leading up to the concert. They made it aware that it was likely going to be hectic. Everyone seemed super cool and helpful. Very impressive considering 25K was there.

Recently came to see the Blackbear and Maroon V show. Great show. Good time. I've been coming here to see concerts almost 30 years. Usually on the lawn. Nothing better than standing around barefoot singing and dancing to your favorites. There is only ever one problem at this venue, when the concert is over, and you just want to go home, it literally takes an hour to get out of the parking lot. The earlier you get there for parking, the less you walk, but you are almost the last to get out. Think I will try premier parking next time. They have their own access road out, seemed to be much faster.
Concessions aren't cheap, but that is expected. One reason so many pre game in the parking lot. I have had many a good time here. Will continue to come back as often as I can.
She will always be Deer Creek to me!!❤

This was the most awesome concert venue I have EVER been to. We went to see Zac Brown Band and parking was easy- and free! The entrance wasn't crowded and took no time getting through security or the ticket gate, there were adult beverage stands EVERYWHERE and the lines were super short, come to think of it, I don't think we even waited. As we walked up every time the people in front of us were walking away and we were able to order immediately! The crowd was great too, everyone friendly and having fun, everyone respectful of people's blankets and chairs, and NO fights!! You could see the entertainment from anywhere in the venue thanks to super large video screens , and the sound was crystal clear. We have decided we will be coming back for all the concerts we want to see if they're being played here. I didn't see a lot of kids, but again, it was a Zac Brown Band concert, so I'm not sure if it's kid friendly. I guess it would depend on who's playing. I can't wait for the next time we go!

Last year this time we went and seen Zac Brown Band and had a blast! He puts on such a great show! Headed back today to see him again! Didn’t have premier parking last time but we do this year. Hoping it will help with the exit but we shall see! That was the only horrible thing about going was leaving. Stand still traffic for over 2 hours when we left last year. Hoping with the upgrade parking it won’t be as bad?

Very cool place if sitting in the grass get there early. If you do, you will have awesome seats for cheap. Staff and everyone were very helpful and friendly. The beers are 14 bucks but are 24 oz. The mixed drinks are 22 in a shaker, but my wife loves them, so worth every penny. Thanks for all that you do. Keep on keeping on!

I have been here multiple times. My biggest complaint is that parking is a nightmare. Most of the time the line is so slow that it is backed up all the way down into actual traffic and round abouts. Staff are always incredibly friendly. Food and drinks are pretty pricey and it is a cashless venue! Bathrooms are really nice and very clean.

Love this venue! I have done all kinds of tickets - Lawn Pass, individual seats, lawn seats etc. each time I have enjoyed the experience. Crowds can get a little heavy during sold out shows and you’re going to spend a lot of money on alcohol. The upgrades can be a bit tricky to navigate if you don’t know what they look like/add to the experience ahead of time. Highly recommend spending the $50-$60 for the Lone Pine areas when you can. It’s a fun addition!

We attended farmaide yesterday and it was a nice venue. We arrived around 1 and we were able to basically walk right in. You are allowed to take in a gallon clear plastic bag of food. Maybe not in all cases but for this all day event it was allowed. I did purchase farm made pork sandwiches and cash only fruit at farmer venues to the right of the stage. The lawn was crowded but for the most part people were friendly. The security staff were quick to take care of unruly intoxicated people with little disturbance to others. Smoking is allowed though not only cigarettes is smelled. I used the bathrooms on the right and never waited in a line. I got my merchandise before the sun went down, also to the right, and the line moved quickly. Twenty minutes tops. Because I was in the lawn pictures of the stage were not clear. Staff standing by the pavilion were courteous to allow me to take a few shots and return to my seat. The only complaint was a few lawn patrons attempted to purchase food after dark, to the left of the stage, and were in line over an hour. Not sure if this was staffing, an increase of event goers later into the day or everyone going to the left vs the right of the stage. Overall, as long as the day was, the acts, the food, the merchandise and the lines made this trip memorable. On a side note, the free water should come with a disclaimer. Most of us are city folk and drinking well water is an acquired taste. 😉

Overall, the event I went to: Odesza: The last Goodbye was decent. I got there probably too early, so next time I can get there later. Not a lot of shade, but if concerts go towards late evening, then it's fine.
Recreated 19th-century village on 200 acres explores Indiana's past through interactive exhibits.
Conner Prairie is a fun, unique adventure that you really don't get anywhere else nearby. We got a membership this year, so tried out the Christmas village for the first time. For the member price, it was a good value and certainly a nice NEW thing the kids hadn't done before. I can't say it'll be an annual tradition, but it had some nice things they enjoyed. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was hoping for more interaction with imagining how Christmas was and traditions they'd be doing during that period, but there wasn't much of that... but maybe I didn't ask the right questions. In one house, we got that he was in town visiting his sister & he did a little sing along for 1 song, and in another house a couple that had recently moved to the area and bought some property & his brother was settled in Indy.. but not much describing Christmas or plans or traditions. It was also REALLY busy the night we went, so I'm sure a less crowded evening would've helped some as well. The lights on the bridge were cool and the projection story on the Connor house was enjoyed as well. During the summer months, we enjoy our trips with our family and also often school field trips to the Prairie. Lots of areas the kids enjoy, though definitely a much better experience when you go on days when there is a lot of staff interacting in the houses and shops.

A little away from main indianapolis city, it's a farm land with its own historic importance. They tried to maintain this place as if time clocked 200 years backwards in Indiana. But overall not a very-well managed one, and too hot out in summers. I don't think you'll miss anything if you skip this in your visit to Indianapolis. All in all a dry, undecorated place with rough farm land mostly. Balloon ride will cost you $15 to $18 extra on top of your entry ticket. Cafe is overpriced considering the location. Even very basic plain patty burger will cost about $12 while you sit out in summer. Children play areas are pretty good (specially the air conditioned indoor one), and small children will surely enjoy it a lot. If you're visiting Indianapolis, consider taking Indy Pass. They cover 8 places in their $48 day pass, and Conner Prairie is one of them. It's a good deal if you know how to best utilize it.

Out of many options in the area, we traveled from Wisconsin and decided to attend Conner Prairie’s festival to watch the total solar eclipse. Our group is in agreement that we could not have made a better decision. The event was extremely well organized. I was worried about traffic and parking for such a highly anticipated event, but we didn’t wait in a single line to enter or exit the event and there were several friendly parking attendants instructing us where to go. Every staff member and volunteer from Conner Prairie we interacted with, from the ticket booth to the merch stand to concessions, were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. We arrived at about 10:30am so had to wait several hours for the eclipse but we weren’t bored a minute! The live music and entertainment schedule was great. We appreciated the variety of food trucks and concessions that gave us plenty of options and helped keep lines short and quick. Bathrooms were clean and plentiful! This was an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives, and I can’t imagine spending it in a better way. For an event that doesn’t come around very often, we were thoroughly IMPRESSED with how organized and smooth everything at Conner Prairie went – with a smile on everyone’s face! So thank you to everyone involved. I’m already trying to convince my group to come back for the hot air balloon festival in September.

This place is an absolute must visit, especially if you have kids. Conner Prairie is massive, with different settings and villages all built around providing a "living history" experience. As an adult, I found this place to be fascinating from a historical perspective, but my kids were the ones that really loved it. With a massive treehouse, lots of animals, buildings to explore, and indoor/outdoor play areas, they could easily spend an entire day here. I felt the reenactors did a great job of interacting with the kids as well. With the cost of tickets, I would recommend looking in to an annual pass if you plan on visiting more than once. They also have a military discount as well. We came here first thing on a Sunday morning and had the place to ourselves! Definitely try coming during an off-time to maximize the experience.

Conner Prairie is a good place to spend the weekend. There are lots of attractions and activities. Visit the museum and village. Experience corn maze. Get the feel of riding in a hot air balloon. General admission is expensive ($20/person) but kids and seniors get some discounts. We visited Conner Prairie for hot air balloon festival and it was really eventful. Novel experience to get up close with 12-15 huge hot air balloons. Lots of playing activities for kids. Surely nice place to come with family.

Boy, it sure has changed over the years. It's a great place for kids especially, with lots of interactive activities for them. Most of the houses and barns are open and the volunteers are available which is great. Sadly though, many of the buildings are showing signs of not being maintained (dry rot, wood boring insects, missing chinking on log buildings)

We brought my kids here for the first time (7, & 5) and I believe they were the perfect age! We spent 4 hours here and we still have so much to explore for the next time we go back. The kids loved hands on learning about history, and the actors/actresses kept them interested the whole time. I may have loved it even more than they did! I cannot wait to take them back. This is a place we can come back to and see new things we missed each time! Our kids truly learned a lot as well. On the car ride home we asked them questions from throughout the day, and they knew every answer. Awesome place! Well done!
