I love a good food hall. This was great for families, date night, girls night, truly anything. They even had live music. We ordered food from a sort of fast casual Vietnamese spot and it was delicious! It’s on the top floor on the left side, I can’t remember the name but hope that helps! We got the grilled turmeric chicken with the vermicelli noodle and ginger carrot dressing on kale. So good!

Something here for everyone! Everything is pretty tasty here so you can't really go wrong. A good and eclectic selection of foods that are unique and tasty. Parking can be a pain, but they have valet for $6. Definitely gets crowded in the evening and less so in the morning and afternoons.
There's a small hot pot joint on the lower floor that is simple, but service was really attentive and nice. We went with their AYCE for 2 hr at $30. Pretty good deal and we were stuffed! A limited selection and less variety compared to some other hot pot restaurants, but had all the essentials! Beef belly, yes!

Ambience seemed kinda cool but one time was enough for curiosity's sake. Hard to find parking and food was just okay and overpriced. Visited a gyro place and ordered a plate which was ready in like 2 minutes. Unfortunately, it tasted like it too. Didn't look like the pic on their menu at all. Chicken sandwiches were pretty good if you didn't mind the prices. Seemed like the place could have been air conditioned but it wasn't so I couldn't lounge there for very long. The idea of having a variety of food choices was awesome I thought.

The Anaheim Packing District never disappoints!! It is a Soiree of international cuisine that is sure to leave you satisfied. It will leave you wanting more, which is why we always visit as much as possible. Its interior design is a blend of modern finishes with greenery throughout to make you feel as if you are outdoors. Every restaurant and business has the feel of being a specialty/boutique style and is so refreshing from your normal chain restaurants. A side note, onsite parking can be challenging on the weekends. However, they do offer valet parking and numerous parking areas nearby. It is all worth it!!

It was a little empty before Covid, but now it's the hapenning place to be. Lots if good food choices, live music, seating everywhere! Looks beautiful inside, too.
If you get there after 5 pm, parking will be tight...
I took my 84 yr old dad there, and he didn't want to leave.
On Saturdays, they have Vintage Swap Meet - see photos...

A very cute food hall with many options for many people. Fantastic for groups. Can accommodate folks with all sorts of tastes and preferences.
However, it was very hard to find parking, we ended up using valet for $7. Thankful that was an option after looking for about 20 minutes beforehand. There is a small lot that was full and some street parking but be aware there are many parking restrictions in the neighborhood.
Once inside, it is beautiful and vibrant. It can feel a little overwhelming getting your bearings and there was nothing that made it clear what to do or where to go. Some stalls have their own seating for if you order from their restaurant, the communal seating seems scarce. We had a group of 5 and had a very hard time finding anywhere to sit and eat. We ended up at BXCR for cocktails and sat at a small table on the outside of it. Everyone went in pairs to grab food and bring it back and while we were thankful for the spot, it was definitely not enough space for everyone to eat at the same time, but I am sure this was not intended to be a communal table space for 5 to eat at, so no fault of BXCR. They were so nice! Some restaurant stalls had explicit postings for no food or drink from other stalls within the food hall. So even if 1 person wanted something from another stall and another ate there, we couldn’t all sit together. Which was a bummer and felt counterintuitive to the overall communal vibe.
BXCR had great cocktails! Highly recommend! The sushi stall I ordered from messed up my order but I made due. Ice cream from Han’s was delicious!
Another thing to note is bathrooms felt scarce. Once we found them, they were not super clean. Bring hand sanitizer!
Overall we had a great time, despite the parking for both our vehicle and our butts. We would come back in the future but maybe mind the time and plan to valet.

Great place to check out different vendors in this establishment. I like the setup and so many different options to choose from. Great atmosphere for family gatherings and for a casual date. Definitely worth the time and only got to try some vendors food that did not disappoint. Good flavor from the dish I got and they sold out of the chicken that I wanted to try. Will be back to experiment more

Tons of options, exceptional vibe. We dined at Georgia's. It was a tough decision but I wanted something savory.
I highly recommend this place for singles, friends, no pressure dates and families.
Valet parking was only $6. The do take credit card.

Cool place for meet up and for hang out. This cool place is packed with good stores. I loved this place . It’s so much happening - they have all cuisine food , beer and michelada and lot more. I loved the ambience and home made Ice creams here. I tried some Mediterranean, Thai and American food. All are great. Must try a restaurant which provides Harry Potter ambience feel something like old fashion. Check my picture here attached.

Great vibe in a well reused space. Very busy so come with patients. Live music the night we were there adds to the ambiance. Many Asian inspired restaurants. Clean and secure establishment. We arrived via ART - looks like parking is super tight.

Parking is terrible... some food is a little bit expensive but the option of having different foods is great. There's a few dessert options as well. I love that there's live music. We had to do valet. Nice place to visit though.

Was in town for a visit and we checked this place out. It’s such a great place for foodies! They have an amazing variety of food and drinks. We had Thai food from White Elephant and it was some of the best we have ever had! I got some Thai tea at Mini Monster, so good! I upgraded for the glass take away cup and i love it! I went back the next day to get their Vietnamese coffee and it was delish. Parking is insane so i would recommend valet especially if you are visiting during night time. Also, summer months during the day the place gets unbelievably stuffy and hot. It was almost uncomfortable. They have a great sitting area outside which is perfect for relaxing. Love this place and will be back.

Great place for foodies! Many options for food, snacks, and small shops. Nice vibe with stage for live music in the middle. Can get crowded. Parking is a bit tough. Cool place to spend a few hours.

I have mixed feelings about the Packing District. It used to be unique and felt like a local fav and now it feels a little bit touristy and a cliche hipster spot. We only end up here once or twice a year and every time it always feels clean and well-maintained, the neighborhood isn't the easiest for parking and not the safest, but as long as your patient for parking and not walking alone at night, then it's fine. Overall, it a fun place to meet some friends or take family visiting from out of town. There are tons of really good food options and some retail stores/carts.
Kim Hamblin (Vanmblin) — Google review
Checked this place out after hearing good things about it. Came on a Saturday it was a little busy in the afternoon but the evening time seemed to be less crowded. Definitely a good experience alot of good food & drink options. I highly recommend checking out.

Great spot! Wonderful aesthetics, tons of delicious food options (including healthy fare, gluten free and vegan). If you have a group who likes different food, there's something for everyone here. Arrive early if you want a table as it's a busy place

Great spots for all the eats you want. They have wagyu burgers and garlic noodles that are excellent. The famous anti gravity noodles are absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a great spot with food/ photo opportunities!
Theconnorbrooks — Google review
Reminds me of the Ox Bow in Napa and the Ferry Building in San Francisco, but with a much livelier atmosphere and a superior vibe! The place boasts a wide array of options thanks to its open floor concept featuring on-floor bars, breweries, ice cream stalls, and restaurants serving full meals – there's a feast for your eyes wherever you look! We stumbled upon this gem on our last night and can't wait to return soon!

This is just a beautiful and eclectic space. So many interesting food choices. Sushi, pho, burgers, alcoholic beverages, seafood, boba, tea, French pastries. But the atmosphere can’t be beat. 10/10

Great spot for the foodie / bar/ tourist crowd. Enjoyed a few hours with the family trying out new foods and everything was great. Many Instagramable food and drink options to buy with great flavors to go with the looks.

Great place to meet a big group and have variety of options for food. Beautiful seating and there is something for everyone. We tried the white tiger and Aadya for lunch.
Madhumitha Ramesh — Google review
A cool, trendy place with any form of exotic (or "normal") food you can imagine. We had a cajun seafood boil, authentic gyro and falafel, and finished with some super legit French desserts and microbrews.
I felt more like a hipster than usual, but I didn't really care because everything was absolutely delicious. Cool atmosphere as well. Just don't come here looking for a discount meal - nothing is cheap.
Zac Clark — Google review
I really enjoyed it here. Lots of different food places and unique choices. It might be a little harder to find food your kids would like since much of it seems to be for a more sophisticated palette. But there'd enough that's kid friendly, so it works.

Overall, this place is a hit. We came 2 nights in a row. The food we had was all so delicious, and Adya had some of the best samosas I've ever had. The only downside is trying to find seating as this place is busy, and the atmosphere is just so fun and inviting that you will stick around until a seat pops up. Parking can be an issue as well, but they offer valet which we used for both nights. The sushi roll my daughter enjoyed, the handmade ice cream was so creamy and delicious. My aunt said Georgia's was a hit. The smash burger and fries were a hit with the kids. The cajun specialties was tasty and delicious. We were able to try a few other places as well and share with each other since there was a group of us. When we go back to Anaheim, this is a for sure stop on the list without a doubt. Can't wait go come back.
Denita Goodwin — Google review
Went there to see some friends, good selection of restaurants and found parking within a few minutes. Gets busy during peak hours but lots of people go in and out. Comfortable atmosphere, lots of choices for food.
Samuel Ng — Google review
Hip fun spot with tons of options. Not so trendy that’s it’s embarrassing but cooler than a mall food court. Multi level with lots of hidden gems. The hyped Blind Rabbit speakeasy (check for the no-reservations hours) with great cocktails and possible server tude but worth it. Parking can be an issue but an $8 valet helps. Black Sheep Grilled Cheese, Tacos El Gringo, Popbar and few faves but discovery is half the fun - explore and find your own!
This dinner theater in Anaheim presents a unique and exciting show where knights battle it out for prestige and honor. Guests can enjoy an unusual and unique experience as they feast on a four-course meal served in a castle-like setting.
Once in a life time experience, upgrade to VIP for 20 dollars more You are able to sit 3rd row, have your name announced, and are provided with a group photo, which would cost the 20 dollars, if you were to buy it there anyways. This performance is outstanding. The food is not great, but the ambiance makes up for it. Please take your children to experience this at least once. I believe ages 7 and up would enjoy it the most.
Stephanie Lynn — Google review
Amazing staff. Amazing performance. I absolutely loved it here. They did an amazing job making me feel welcomed and safe. The food was not nearly as bad as some people say. The characters/performers were professional and despite some hard questions they remained in character and answered honestly. If you are a tourist or a local Medieval Times is a must. 100% would recommend for the young, old, and every age between.

The show was really fun and exciting to watch and we got to cheer our knight. Our group was the yellow group and it looked best and gentle to the eye; thanks God that we were not in the red light.
Luckily, our knight was the best one; he was acting very well, charming and frequently interacting with his audience group. I felt like we were in the ancient movies.
The server was attentive and nice (and you're gonna be expected to tip quite generous for this service)
Food was a lot but so bad to our taste, it was below average in our opinions. We had plenty of leftovers. Our server gave us two big boxes for to go but we did not bring home any 'cause we had no appetite to eat it again. However, we liked the lemonade juice, it tasted refreshed and tasty.
I like how they decorated their building and looking at my posted pictures and videos here you can tell the ambiance looks really beautiful and cool.
Parking was plentiful.
Something we noticed at the entrance was the strike. The previous actors there were on strikes trying to tell other people that their ex-employer abused them and all the horses. Not sure if it's true or not but we could see how sad and depressed the horses looked. We enjoyed the show but also felt bad afterwards.

What a great experienced! My husband and I went here for to celebrate our Anniversary week! We enjoyed our time here, servers and staffs are very friendly!
Food was included when you purchased ticket. It was delicious.
They gave you a wet wipes to clean your hands.
* gotta use your hands though to eat, you can ask for utensils as well if you are not comfortable*
The show and the actors are so great!!!
Go green house!!! 💚
Parking was easy..
Over all, I will definitely recommend this place!!

Amazing dinner and show! Everyone stays in character the whole time and really give you an experience of a lifetime! The dinner is served while watching the show. They have a few accommodations for meals and seating. Before the show, you can walk around, buy stuff from their many counters of trinkets, Enjoy a beverage or two from the bars, see the horses, possibly meet the royal family! I know with Covid, things have changed a little, but they make the experience great any way.
Anthony Merchak — Google review
For the performance, I give it a five, for the food a 4.5.
The performance was amazing. Lots of interaction and sword fights and audience participation. Definitely a lot of jokes given from the queen and her right hand man especially about the “oranges…who doesn’t bring oranges” had me laughing!
The horses were beautiful and be sure at the end of the show you go to the right of the exit and you can look through protected class them. The knights do engage well with the audience, and the harder cheer the more your knight fights for you. Be prepared next day to be a little horse. No pun intended.
As for the food, it was definitely an experience as you dive into the theme. The chicken was a bit dry, but the potatoes and corn were great. And the soup was a great starter; be sure to let it cool it comes out super hot. You do eat with your hands so be prepared, you can ask for a fork if you wish.
I will definitely go back to Buena Park location, it’s definitely my first time going to this type of show and although it’s more focused towards the kids and family; it’s fun for all ages. Loved it!

I recently went to Medieval Times with a group of friends and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The show was spectacular, full of action-packed jousts, sword fights, and amazing horsemanship. It was an incredible experience to see knights in full armor compete with each other on horses.
The venue itself is also a great place to celebrate a birthday party. The atmosphere was festive and lively, with a great sense of camaraderie from all the guests. The staff were helpful and friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed.
While the food was okay, it was still a fun experience to eat with our hands like they did in medieval times. We all enjoyed the chicken, potatoes, and soup.
Overall, I would highly recommend a trip to Medieval Times for anyone looking for a great experience and an incredible show. It's perfect for birthday parties or any special occasion, and you're sure to have an unforgettable time.

We took our family to this and they all LOVED IT!!! It was such a fun and unique experience for them. The service was amazing, the gift shop was great to let the boys feel out the swords they wanted, the atmosphere was wonderful! Thank you for giving us such a fun night!! PS~ My husband enjoyed all of this but I think his favorite part was heckling the protesters out front. That made his entire night!

Perfect place to bring family and enjoy a good show with delicious food! Family and I came to celebrate my dad for Father’s Day. Greeted by friendly staff that provide you with your crown. Great places for pictures before walking into the show. Anywhere you sit you get a good view. We loved the experience and our color blue won, which made the experience 10x better! Definitely would return with a different group of people for the experience. The horses were beautiful and looked healthy. Highly recommend this place.

Either for a family, friends or a date. This place is pretty cool. I took me girlfriend then now wife on date. And not too long ago, it was just my daughter and myself. The entertainment is non stop and the food was simple, yet awesome. Staff was great as well. A must do, if in the area.

First time seeing the Medieval Times and it did not disappoint. I came here for the experience so I didn’t really expect much for the food. The food was filling. Soup was cold, Chicken didn’t have any flavor but huge, corn tasted good and dessert was great. Your meal comes with fountain drinks or water. They also sell other drinks. The drinks were good but a little pricey. The show itself was entertaining. Family friendly. Kid friendly. It was a bit too scripted but overall, a great experience. There were ample of free parking spots. They sell souvenirs and you also get to meet the cast and take photo ops after the show. I am aware about the strike and I hope they get to settle it. Also, it is unfortunate that the horses are tied up and crumpled up in a small space. Other than that, it was okay.

We had an amazing time!!! The customer service was great, all the people were polite and very welcoming. The food was EXCELLENT, well cooked and flavorful, I enjoyed every bite of it. As well, our waiter Ashley was very sweet, and she was always checking on us, we really felt like royalty! The atmosphere was really nice, also. Great show, performance, the actors were engaging and very professional. This was an amazing experience and we will definitely go back to Medieval Times! ❤️

Make sure you know how many people are for sure in your party. You can't add more the night of the show.

Second time here and I absolutely love the place! I go during summer camp field trips in a nearby city so the experience is different than most. You have no food selection but just what they gave you which is some really really dry and unseasoned chicken that me and my family didn't much enjoy. Half of the baked potato was decent. Red apple had something off about it on the taste I can't describe. Garlic bread was sooo soft and good! Grandma's sealed cookie bags were great! And a regular water bottle. Entertainment was AMAZING!!! 10/10!!! Staff was really friendly & helpful 10/10!! Really just the food that we couldn't change. . . 2 of my family members starved the whole trip due to refusing to eat the food that was provided.

Great dinner! The food was so good! You eat with your bare hands and it adds to the fun medieval experience. You can let them know prior to the show about vegetarian options to get the soup (also yummy). I brought my lover here for his birthday and we both enjoyed it. It was pretty awesome our knight won the show too!

We went today and we loved the show. The actors, servers, staff, horses and animals were all lovely. Everyone did an awesome job. I loved seeing how nice the staff was to the horses. I am so glad we went. Such a fun time! We will go back again.

Hadn't been in about 15 yrs, this time was the best! Dinner was outstanding! Our compliments to the chef and servers! The entertainment better, more scripted and theatrical! The animals were beautiful! Overall experience was worth it!

Plan to eat with your hands! In medieval times, they didn't have forks and steak knives. The food was pretty good! Roasted Dragon (tastes like half a chicken), corn on the cob and tasty roasted potato...no variations unless you let them know you don't eat meat or have allergies.
It's a visually beautiful, authentic experience with a powerful queen and some gorgeous horsemanship. Turns grown men into 9 year boys. Very fun to experience. We upgraded to VIP and were glad we did for photo taking.
Timi Gleason — Google review
Came here to celebrate kids bdays. They had a blast. Our waitress role played with them and they believed they were eating baby dragons. Adults loved the horses. The place was surprisingly clean and not dusty. I expected to smell the animals but it was very minimal. We will definitely bring the kids back. Only complaint was the bathroom. They smelled strong of urine and there only seemed to be one.

I thought this was a FANTASTIC show!!! I really loved how they interacted with the crowd and how the moment you enter MT, they would immerse you from that era! I thought everyone was great and treated us well!
There are lots of souvenirs to choose from and at the end of the show, the cast will come out for a photo shoot! I would watch this a second time!
*An important note that the price you pay to enter does NOT include gratuity. And from what my family has experienced, the servers worked very hard! So please don't forget to show your appreciation which can either be done by cash or through Venmo, which the server will provide at the end.
Thank you MT for making it so much enjoyable for my family!

Medieval Times & Tournament is a captivating dining experience that transports you back to a bygone era of chivalry and valor. From the moment you step inside, the staff's warm hospitality sets the tone for an unforgettable evening. The cleanliness of the establishment adds to the overall pleasant atmosphere. The highlight of the visit is undoubtedly the food. Each dish is prepared with care, offering a taste of medieval fare fit for a king. But what truly sets this place apart is the immersive entertainment provided by the knights tournament. As you feast, you're treated to a thrilling spectacle of combat and pageantry, making you feel like a noble in the midst of the action. The energy in the air as guests cheer for their chosen champion adds an exciting element to the dining experience.Overall, Medieval Times & Tournament never fails to deliver a fantastic time. Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply looking for a unique night out, this establishment offers an unforgettable blend of delicious food and thrilling entertainment. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable dining adventure.

Fun place, great show and experience.
Clean facilities.
Seating staff not very polite.
All other staff members were welcoming.
I did not make a purchase from the souvenirs store/gift shop counter, high-priced knick knacks.
Cups w/drinks are nice to take home.
Would come again.

Great place for the family. Fun filled, action packed experience. Great example of dinner and a show. Food was really good, really not much of a selection, what they serve is really the only thing you get. But it's a lot of fun for everyone. Customer service is good, everything is served in portions so that's really the only time you see your server, but they do try to be as attentive as possible. I would recommend this for a family dinner and a show.

I booked general admission tickets for a party of 12 for my kid's 18th birthday. Always wanted to go & check it out. It was a good experience. The food was decent, you get a soup and bread ( which our bread came out about 45 minutes after the soup ) you get the main meal ( we got chicken, a potato and corn ) which was good! Especially the potato! Drinks which one of my kids didn't gets hers for a good 45 minutes. Coffee and dessert. Which was also good. The server we had was very slow or maybe just overly busy but our food came out slow. We were given a piece at a time and it would take 15 to 20 minutes just to get the next piece...I prefer to eat my food all together. As expected the extras are pricey. No matter where you sit you have a great view. The show was awesome and horses are beautiful. All in all, I would probably return.
This dinner theater puts on a fantastic show with pirates and Spanish ships as the stage. Families love playing pirate for the night and feast on a three-course meal while watching exciting visual effects take place. There are different shows around Halloween and Christmas, so make sure to check out Pirates Dinner Adventure!
Even better experience and show than previous. They have really stepped up their performance. The pirates all come out before the show for quite a while and they individually come out and interact with all the guests. It was great! It adds a personal aspect to the whole experience. Two of my kids were chosen to be part of the show and even I was selected by the captain to join in as well. It's very interactive. There are some pirates that are silly and crack lots of jokes. The food was great. Adults get a choice of either pork or chicken and they are both really good! The kids all get a hamburger, Mac and cheese, and seasoned mashed potatoes. The fountain drinks for kids and adults are bottomless and the dessert was a German chocolate cake. They ask about food allergies several times so that really shows me they're attentive to detail.

This is a very interactive experience! My whole party was asked to participate. My daughter held the flag, I walked with a treasure, and my husband was asked to raise a flag. The pirates also come out before the show and interact with the guests. The whole experience felt very personal and special.
There is literally no place to hang your purse. Mine had to go on the ground so I would suggest not bringing a purse if you don't want anyone stepping on it.
The food was beyond gross. We had the chicken and it was okay. The mashed potatoes were just yuck. I didn't even try the vegetables. The drinks are bottomless and make sure you carry cash to tip your server.
Seating
We sat in the orange section. The view was great. I would say the worst sections are blue and green.
Groupon had a great discount. I would order tickets thru them and save some money.
We had such a great time. I would definitely go back and do it all over again!

We came for my son’s birthday and my whole family had a great time. The show was awesome, the crowd involvement is so much fun and the food is good.
My major complaint is that the food portion for kids is way too small. I have three boys and all of them were still hungry after the meal. The main item of the kids meal is a slider the size of the palm of your hand. Unless the child is 6 or under there is no way it’s enough food for them.

Show was fun, but yesterday when we were there it took over an hour to get our drinks, food came first. I paid extra for the Caribbean beef, it was tiny, cold and tough. I needed to be able to wash it down but had no drink. When our soda finally arrived it was flat with no carbonation. We asked for water and she never came back. Made a fun experience awful.

We attended on Dec. 23rd and they had a Christmas show on with Santa, Mrs. Claus and a fairy. There was no disclaimer when we bought the tickets. As cute as it was to see an acrobatic fairy for 15 minutes we were there see PIRATES sword fighting each other with water blasting and a fire 🔥 show. That's what we were expecting and feel we were robbed from that. The Santa show got pretty boring quick. 😴 not impressed at all with the "show". Food was delicious and tasty. Server was nice and friendly but was MIA a lot. I had to ask other servers to send my server over 3 different times. 🙃 very disappointed with this pirate show. ☠️

Super fun event. Food was really good. Had the pork plate and it was very well done. Liquor prices are not bad. Drinks are very good. Staff was fun and attentive. They really focus on your kids so they have a good time. Show is fun to watch. Well worth the money

I recently had the pleasure of attending the Pirates Show in Buena Park and I must say it was an absolute blast! This show is truly a fantastic way to spend an entertaining evening with family and friends. From the moment we stepped foot into the venue, we were transported into a world of swashbuckling adventure and excitement.
The show itself was incredibly fun and amusing. The talented performers truly brought the pirate theme to life with their energetic and captivating performances. The acrobatics, stunts, and sword fights had us on the edge of our seats throughout the entire show. It was a truly immersive experience that left us in awe.
Not only was the show a hit, but the food offered during the performance was delicious. We had the opportunity to enjoy a scrumptious meal while being entertained. The menu offered a variety of options, catering to different dietary preferences, and everything was prepared with great care. The flavors were incredible, and the presentation was top-notch.
Furthermore, the service provided was outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly, and quick to assist with any needs or inquiries we had. They ensured that our dining experience was comfortable and enjoyable, providing a seamless evening of entertainment and relaxation.
Overall, the Pirates Show in Buena Park is a must-visit for families looking to have a night of fun and adventure. The combination of the spectacular live show, delicious food, and excellent service make it a memorable experience for all. I highly recommend adding this show to your list of family-friendly activities in Buena Park; it is an absolute treasure!

Best evening entertainment I could ever anticipate. I purchase my ticket online and got the onion rings also turkey leg with mash potatoes and mixed vegetables. Be cautious, it’s real big and juicy I couldn’t even finish it all. But the free chocolate dessert was not bad at all, I enjoyed cheering on my green pirate winning over the mermaid’s favor!

5⭐ for the performers/show! Drop to 3 because of food. Our first time. Try Groupon or another discount first! No one said anything about paid parking (when made reservations or called to ask a Q).Didn't see it mentioned on tickets either. $8 to park in their lot!!! So didn't bother buying a pre-drink as intended, out of principle. $8 is nuts on top of tickets. We did get a drink for our Goddaughter, it was her bday. And the bartender gave for free for her bday. So THAT was great! 5⭐ bartender! Gift shop n small bar area beforehand. Then high ceiling room, before enter show area, and it's decorated great! Fun pics. We went for afternoon show so not crowded at all. We got front row seats. Ok con FOOD. Choice was chicken or pork. We all picked chicken. U get salad or soup to start. Salad was iceberg, mostly all the white end parts. So blah. Then chicken, mashed potatoes n veggies (squash n carrots) of the 3 of our chickens only one was cooked decent. My piece was super small n dry. Husbands was decent sized but also dry. Her's was decent size n less dry. Super disappointed. Cake was ok. You can pay extra for various appetizers n of course alcohol drinks. We didn't bother. As soon as you sit pirates are coming up to you. We each were asked to participate. If you get asked do it... have fun! They want you to cheer loud for your pirate/section. The singing was amazing! The stunts/fighting etc was GREAT again 5⭐ worth the show part! Next time I might eat first

This was a very unique experience. Went with my daughter and parents, we all had a great time. We attended the halloween show, so the entire place was decorated in the Halloween theme. Getting there an hour before show time is a good idea as they have a full bar, souvenir store and a counter that sells replica swords from popular movies. The show arena is large and you are seated in color themed groups with your own pirate to cheer for, much like medieval times. The stage is a large ship, so if you are in just the right spot, a ship maste may block your view of some performances. The food is good, not fancy gourmet, but a decent meal; upgrades are available. Servers check on you regularly and bring drinks from the bar for you. Over all we had a really good time and plan to attend again in the future.

Cast:
The cast is very good at interacting with the children and the rest of the audience. They definitely work for their money.
The cast was amazing and very attentive with the children. I applaud them. They make they provided special attention that was much needed at the end of the show for a child who was non verbal. Especially the blue pirate that played Ben. I really appreciate it. They definitely deserve a raise. We were able to meet everyone after except her favorite character the princess unfortunately she wasn't able to be seen after the show.
Check in:
Check in before the show starts. They'll give you your seating areas, what group you'll be in, groups are based on pirates colors. If you pay for a package you'll receive a colored flag for your team and colored necklace (It just looks like Mardi gras beads). You can also pay for your parking at The check-in window. You can your upgrade your package at the window and had things.
*If you book over the phone for your reservation they charge you have the price on the phone and the other half at check in.
Food:
The food wasn't good (Yuck), but salt and pepper is at the table which helps a tad. But I'm surprised because before COVID you received more food and way better tasting food. Idk what happened. But if the food tastes gross again I'm bringing purse snacks, lol. Sorry but it's true.
For people who don't know they give you an adult option of food or a child's meal for children. They give you dessert I believe if you pay for the dessert with your package. I might be wrong. But they gave us this chocolate cake like thing. It was cold. It had like a glaze icing light brown kind of coconut flavor thing on top. That's how I feel like it taste. I may be wrong.
Parking:
Plenty of parking. Paid parking. $1 less if you pay in advance.
Birthday's:
I believe you have to make a reservation.
Birthday person gets in free on their birthday month.
But there's other fees for additional bday stuff.
Bathrooms:
Clean
Bar:
There's a bar inside when you walk in. And someone comes to your seating area and provide you the opportunity to order drinks through them. I don't drink alcohol so I can't say what the drinks tastes like.
Gift shop:
They have lots of items you can buy there for souvenirs or gifts. Pirate, princess and mermaid items.
Face painting:
There is a face painting area at the lady's really nice. If it's your birthday you get one free face painting. That's what's going on now I don't know how long that will last.
Photo booth: not photo booth per se but when you walk in they take a picture of you and your group. You can pay for the photo and I come around you're seating area. Two photos was around $42+ and three photos was around $62 +. Have to show you're also welcome to take pictures with the cast with your own phone behind the face painting area.
The front door staff is boring and dry but once you get in there after the photo it's fun and the vibes start up.
I think that's it. I hope this is helpful.

Love the set and actors. Actors did their job well and professionally. Now little issues with the show, there long and because they try to involve audiences it was hard to follow the story or what they are trying to do. However, awesome effort, when someone new comes visit , it will be one of the spots to visit. Oh, food was ok, don't get the chicken.

If you’re looking for a fun experience, go across the parking lot to medieval times. The performance is less corny, the waiting area and gift shop area and bar are better. This kind of seems like a crammed little tiny building with acting that is so over the top you kind of just wanna leave because it’s not good. Food was ok.
The Richard Nixon Library and Birthplace in Yorba Linda, California, showcases the life and legacy of former US President Richard Nixon through a variety of exhibits and attractions. The museum features over 70 displays that cover Nixon's presidency, including interactive experiences and multimedia presentations that delve into his policies as well as the infamous Watergate scandal.
Had a good time with the family here on a Sunday after 🎄🎅🤶. The intro video at the beginning was worth watching after you pay for admission 🎟️. Make sure you leave your pepper spray, guns🔫, and knives 🔪 at home. Price of admission was worth the value💲. The museum really highlighted the great things Nixon contributes to building America. Well balanced between his early childhood, law career, politics to his last days. Well organized. His childhood home 🏘️ tour was the highlight of his humble beginnings. Helicopter was not open. Had a few roses in bloom not too far from his tombstone and his wife's. Staff were very engaging and friendly. Glad the museum also highlighted some of the bombings that occurred in Cambodia. But, it did miss the amount of Khmer who suffered horrible amputations and death from US landmines and unexploded bombs. Approximately 2.8 tons of explosives 💣 we're dropped compared to 2 tons during WWII according to Bombs Over Cambodia 🇰🇭 by Taylor Owen and Ben Kiernan.

A tourist attraction in Yorba Linda worth a visit. The presidential libraries system is a nationwide network of 15 libraries administered by the Office of Presidential Libraries, which is part of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). These are repositories for preserving and making available the papers, records, collections and other historical materials of every president of the United States.
So at the Nixon library, there are exhibits showing the historical events during Nixon’s presidency. Nixon was credited for opening China. There is huge poster with life size bronze status of president Nixon and China’s then premier zhou shaking hand.
For those of you that are interested in finding out more about the Cold War, many unclassified documents disclosed a lot of interesting intense moments between Russia and the West.
Nixon’s presidential helicopter is also on display on the side yard of the library. It’s cool to see the inside of this flying machine. I thought it would be more plush.
It’s a bit of a drive for me to get there but it was worth it to visit at a piece of history in person.

Time helps us understand history. The Nixon Presidential Library helps us all put the past into perspective. The story of some of the most turbulent times in our Nation's history is very well told here.
Obviously Watergate, is told in detail, as are such milestones as the return of America's Vietnam POW's, the negotiated peace and exit from Vietnam, and Nixon's leadership in environmental and worker protection, and greater integration of our races and genders.
As a male born in 1972 I knew only part of the story. I knew each of the events but had never had their interconnections drawn. I failed to see the diplomat he was as a President and the elder statesman he had become after his Presidency.
I am so glad we came here. I would not recommend it for people under the age of about 15 because there is just a lot to absorb but I will definately be returning because there is still more for me to take in. The museum is very well curated and the docents are incredible.
Oh and where else can you sit behind the Presidents desk in an exact replica of the Oval Office?

A hidden gem! Who would've known Richard Nixon accomplished so much such as founding the EPA, signing the Clean Air and Water Act, and ending the Vietnam War! The list goes way beyond the three point I made. Before the museum I only knew Nixon for Watergate, afterwards, I know even more about Watergate, but I also know a lot of great things Nixon did. In my opinion, this is the most informative and opinion shifting presidential library. Showing both the malevolence and benevolence within Richard Nixon
Definitely recommend!

My second visit to a presidential library. Nixon's colorful history with his groundbreaking cultural diplomatic visit to China, ending the Vietnam War, and the infamous Watergate Scandal. Taking the opportunity to tour Nixon's childhood home on the library grounds, seeing a lifesize replica of the Presidential Oval Office, walking along the beautiful gardens, and immersing myself with the historical exhibits were great experiences. I admired how Nixon's demise with the Watergate scandal were presented in great detail and accuracy.

I had wanted to see this library for years and I was favorably impressed. It would have been nice to be able to walk through Marine One, but just seeing it up close was an enjoyable first for me. The museum content seems to fairly reflect the good and the controversial, and like all presidential libraries, there is a LOT to take in, so allow plenty of time. Being able to engage with the surroundings of the Oval Office was also a nice first since usually you are only allowed to view this kind of political sacred ground from behind the velvet ropes.

Learn about President Richard Nixon as well as many other Presidents. Very spacious and wonderful exhibits. See the gardens, his original home he was born in and the two wings of the library. Beautiful and informative. Plan on spending 1.5 to 2.5 hours to get a look at all it has to offer.

My expectations were kind of low for this visit, but I came away feeling like this was a very worthwhile experience. My biggest concern was that the whole Watergate affair would be whitewashed or minimized. It wasn't. There is an entire room dedicated to the matter and his staff farewell address on a loop on one of the displays. I knew there was, what I assumed, was model of his boyhood home on the grounds. It's not a model, it's the actual home that his father built and the museum sits on the site of their orchard that was established in the early 1900's. A lot of the furnishings and accessories are also authentic as his mother had the wherewithal put their belongings in storage when the family relocated. They also have *the* helicopter that he boarded on the day he left the Whitehouse after the resignation.

Milhous was a dynamic leader whose accomplishments have been overshadowed by one moment in time. He provided consultation and advice to Reagan, both of the Bush's and Clinton. He is responsible for SSI, he funded the EEOC, he created OSHA and the EPA, he signed two landmark arms control treaties with the Soviet Union, he opened the world to China, he made the U. S. military a volunteer service, he oversaw the desegregation of southern schools, he gave native American's the right to tribal self determination and opened the door for women in collegiate sports by signing Title IX.

Not the biggest outlet town but it has majority of the big brands available. Place is nicely designed and there are signs and maps everywhere to help you get your way around instead of getting lost trying to find your favourite outlets.
The food available at the outlets could definitely be improved though, as there are less than 10 shops/restaurants there selling food. As the weather is cold, maybe would be good if there are more indoor seats around for people to rest in between shopping.
The staff in each of the outlet stores are mostly pleasant and helpful. No racism was encountered and they even assisted to unlock further discounts!

It's crazy, by the time they close, you don't enjoy all the rides, maybe a few, and if you want the line to be faster, you have to buy a pass that is a bit pricey 🏊🏼♀️🌊💦⛲😎☀️well other than that my family and I had fun, did our best to enjoyed as much as we could

It's Raging Waters. How can you not have fun? The chicken tenders are definitely expensive at $15 but they're really good if that's any consolation. The fries are also good. The lazy river is fun as long as you're in a tube. The water is very dirty so you don't really want to get in it. The rides are all great and the staff is friendly. It's a good time. Alot plenty of time for parking. While they have several shuttles and a bus, it's alot of people to move around.

I see that there’s a lot of negative reviews on this place but that is not the case on my experience. We had a great time here with the kids. The food is descent but if you want to bring your own food you can. Staff were always friendly to us and helpful. When we went it was clean and the stores were organized. The bathrooms were clean and there was always someone in there cleaning the bathrooms. Overall it was a great experience and would return for summer!

Love working here! Definitely a great team dynamic, plenty of room for advancement, and effcient way to earn some income during the summer months. Also grew up coming here as a guest with family and friends and have made some amazing memories along the way. Seen the transformations and improvements of the park over the years and hope to continue seeing the park provide guests with fun-filled experiences. I recommend a season pass!

Cool family spot but there are a lot of negatives. Pizza at the cabana sucks. Preferred parking is $50! Like wow. Ice was not cold in the drinks. Tubes in the lazy river are first come first serve basis. Waves in the wave pool are not even high. Lol But I would come back tho.

We got the tickets online the night before, there was a Labor Day sale, one adult ticket was $39.99 plus a service fee around $4 ($8 service fee for 2 tickets). We also bought the standard parking ($25) and H2Go standard pass ($55). The parking was fine, we got there early as the park was opening. You have to ride a tram so I would recommend getting there early if you buy standard parking. We thought the H2Go pass saved a lot of waiting on a Saturday and allowed us to go on more rides. It was not overly crowded. A Beyond Burger w/ fries was around $18, so was the small locker which fit one backpack. It was fun! Lots of enjoyable water rides, my favorites were High Extreme and Bombs Away 😎

Nice and relaxing day once we were permitted to go in area for Cabana we reserved! Gates opened at 10am, wasn't allowed in area to check-in for Cabana til after 10:15am,then not allowed in Cabana area til 11:00am...
Wasted time just standing around.
Need better procedure to accommodate guest.

A summer day perfectly spent with kids and friends!
Pristine wave pool , kiddie pool, and those big slides huh!! The big slides are more than enough for your adequate adrenaline flow...
Please remember of the long lines you will be experiencing for all big rides..
This was my second visit in 4 years and as always I found 2 to 3 rides were under maintenance.
Make sure you have enough of sunscreen and a sunglass.
Food inside is too expensive ,and not that savory , if you are taking premium parking $50, you may bring food and keep in cooler.
Have a waterproof mobile pouch or keep it in locker. Complete park is now cashless.

It's a great place. If you are looking for fun for a day, this would be a perfect water park for you.
But if you are looking for something very exciting, this may not be the best place for you.
There's a shuttle bus for a USD 20 parking pass. Not too far from the park.
We arrive at 1120, leaving around 1700. Save your favorite spot to the last could save your time on queuing.
The summer sale of USD 39.99 per person is a great deal.
I believe that the raging racer is the best facility for those who like exciting facilities and dislike queuing.

Group of 6 friends and I came on Father’s Day and it was -awesome- no long lines on any of the rides, we managed to do every single ride in the park. Snacks and stuff were pretty $$$ but that’s expected at any theme park. The wave pool had very small waves, but the lazy river was fantastic.

No outside food, coolers, or chairs allowed. But was fun! Great family environment. If you map your drive be sure to type " Raging waters parking" it will save you some miles!

Raging Waters Los Angeles deserves a resounding 5-star rating for its exhilarating water park experience. While the $50 preferred parking is optional, I highly recommend purchasing it for the convenience and ease it brings to the day. The thrilling water rides and attractions make a waterproof cellphone case an absolute must-have, allowing you to capture every exciting moment worry-free. However, finding available lunch tables can be a bit challenging as some visitors leave their belongings on them without renting lockers. Nevertheless, this minor inconvenience pales in comparison to the overall enjoyment the park offers. While the $20 slush with one-time refill availability may not be the best value, the fun-filled activities and joyous atmosphere more than compensate for it. Raging Waters Los Angeles guarantees an unforgettable and splashing good time for everyone, making it an ideal destination for families and thrill-seekers alike.

We went to the water park . The service was good and the slides were fun. The lines were decent in length. At the worst it was a fifteen minute wait.
Biggest advise is to arrive before 10 in order to secure a table for your family.
Do be aware that they have college students as lifeguards and workers at the water park. They were very a good people and friendly .
We also had problems with the parking which will cost $25 . But the bus was so fast to pick up. The food was kind expensive and not every thing they have as cappuccino they don’t have….

Pros = This is the best water park in SoCal, lots of different slides for all ages, a good lazy river, big kids play area, decent food and amenities.
Cons = The $50 "Preferred" parking lot is bullshizzery! You used to be able park close to the entrance if you got there early for the standard fee, but now it doesn't matter, $25 puts in the overflow lots a mile away and you have to wait for a tram, the preferred was half empty all day, that sucks especially for people with little ones.
They also could use some more shade structures around the food area, standing in line for 30-45 minutes in direct sun is brutal at 90+.
A Ev — Google review
Unless you pay $50 bucks for preferred parking, the experience is terrible. Even though it’s no where close to being sold out the tram comes once every 20 minutes. It’s also not very well maintained, slides have holes, speakers are rusted.

Great place to keep Kool on a hot summer day but they have a lot of issues, one day they didn't have parking. It's a cashless park and their whole system was down not able to take payments at the front gate when purchasing tickets. Lines to purchase food can take up to a couple hours to get your food. They need to improve these things and the experience would be better.
Omar Valenciano — Google review
Very bad organization! There is not enough parking space for cars. very long queues for rides and for food. there is not enough space to put your things! no free tables to eat. if you bought a parking lot for $25, get ready to take a bus to the park and then back, there is a very long line back, so it's better to get out early. The food is not very tasty, it is better to take something with you
This massive museum is home to exhibitions on a variety of topics, including space exploration and biology. It also has an IMAX theater and a number of special exhibits that are open to the public with a special exhibit or IMAX theater pass.
3/28/2022 reservations are required as well as vaccination record and your mask! It is clearly stated on their website so I won’t get into more details. This place has the actual space shuttle that took on many missions and alone that was worth the trip. The exhibitions are good for K-12 but catered more for smaller children. We overall enjoyed it.

It was great to see the space shuttle up close. Free after 3pm. Very educational displays. Love the variety of the exhibits The journey of the shuttle from the airport to the museum is amazing to see. Great movie and there is a virtual ride that last 7 minutes for a fee. Awesome place, used to come here as a kid, still love it as an adult. My kids had so much fun exploring all the exhibits. The Endeavor was my favorite. Best part is it's free. Parking is $15 great deal for a family of 4.

I recommend to visit. Just remember about masks, and book online your visit, because it's limited!
I thought it just usual Science Center for kinds, you know, like most of them in general. But when came there, I change my mind. For me I open many interesting and useful things. I learned how does work some things that surround us! You can see there history about aerospace , aquarium tunnel and some aquarium that you can seat and watch the fish. Also thanks about fire safety. And the most exciting thing for me was "Endeavour". I just barely heard about it, but didn't pay attention. And there in center, you'll be able to learn more about this space shuttle that was Unbelievable 25 times!!! Also you can see all history of missions, crews and useful things that they did. Just imagine this shuttle was in space in total 299 days, traveled around Earth orbit 4,671 times. Traveled in total almost 123 thousand miles!!!

A great place to take your children young or old for a memorable weekend getaway. There are 3 levels of fun and excitement that takes about 3 to 5 hours of detailed browsing and playing. The space shuttle Endeavor is my favorite exhibit. I get goosebumps every time I go visit it. It is the symbol of the pinnacle of human ingenuity and endeavors. The whole place is free to visit and the Rose Garden outside is very photogenic.

Had a wonderful time! The Mayan exhibit was phenomenal and breathtaking. Very informative and interactive. It's unfortunate that that was about the only thing we had time to see, because we got there so late and the place closes at 5 🤷♀️ Nonetheless, it was a great place to visit.

Awesome place to spend with family for a day of science a learning. Exhibits and explanations are just amazing. The wow factor for me was to understand the history of US space shuttles and to see Endeavor space shuttle for real. The scale and size of Endeavour makes you realise the power of humans and the marvel behind the architecture.
A must visit destination for family with kids and space enthusiasts. There is no entry fee but they charge a parking fee.

I never get bored with this place. The entrance is free, they charge only for the special exhibit, IMAX shows and parking . The highlight of this place is the space shuttle, Endeavour. The cafeteria food is pretty good. Perfect place for the families and people of all ages. It is surrounded by other museums like California African American Museum , Natural History Museum, Coliseum, expo center, stadium and last but not the least the beautiful Rose garden.

The big attraction here is the shuttle, for obvious reasons. It is truly amazing to see it so close and have a sense of its massive dimensions. The rest of the museum is fine, but nothing spectacular. Still, it is worth visiting if your group has some young kids and you can expect to spend about 90 minutes visiting the museum (maybe some additional 30 minutes if you decide to stop by every exhibit). Parking is easily available in front of the museum.

Absolutely must to go place with young kids. A lot to learn and witness historic endeavour space shuttle - stationed here after retirement. You can visit all type of actually used space capsule with the astronauts details. Very cool. Aquatic section is also fun and don’t miss flash flood demonstrations.

Neat facility that has plenty to offer to adults and kids! Admission is free but I’d recommend finding a nearby neighborhood street and park there. I can’t justify paying $15 for parking to go to a free museum. Overall, the facility offered unique displays, artifacts, and various zones/sections. Whether you’re an avid space enthusiast, biologist, or nature lover, there’s no shortage of things to see and do that will keep you here for hours!

The California Science Center is one of the best free experiences in LA. I have been going here since childhood and I still learn something new every time.
We came by on a Sunday afternoon, it was crowded but not too busy. It was easy to wander around and explore. My personal favorite was the reptile exhibit. Definitely bring kids! There are plenty of interactive exhibits too.
The food court is a little lacking, but overall the entire museum is a gem. Will be back soon!

The Walt Disney Concert Hall is an iconic, modern concert hall designed by architect Frank Gehry. The venue is the home of the Los Angeles Music Center and regularly showcases performances by the LA Philharmonic. The hall is also popular for self-guided audio tours, which are available at all times.
Absolutely incredible! The architecture is just breathtaking. Every corner that you turn is a new surprise. The concert hall itself is so incredibly laid out that acoustically it's one of the best concert Halls I've ever visited in the entire world. And it's just gorgeous. Visit for the architecture alone, but absolutely enjoy the music. Especially there new works programs. Can't wait to go again.

I was unable to tour the inside for very long as they close at 2pm, however the upstairs garden is amazing. You are able to go through several different floral scenes and fountain. There are also a variety of places you are able to sit, which allows for some solitude in this busy LA area. I would often find myself reading or studying here as this is a great peaceful place to extend your break or stretch your legs. There are elevators available if you have a wheelchair which I found to be very useful! Great spot, glad we explored around even though it was close to closing time.

A very unique building, an iconic place in LA.
I did not attend a show or enter the building, but simply walking around the building and observing its curves, I was impressed at the architecture and design - unlike any other building I have seen.
An interesting fact is that the exterior was supposed to be built of stone, but because of budget shortcomings, it was decided to make of stainless steel. Having seen the steel, I think it looks better than what stone would have looked.
During opening hours, you are able to walk around the entire building. There is a lovely garden with shady trees at the rear of the building, and some nooks that make for a good photo opportunity.

Really enjoyed wandering around the Walt Disney concert hall! There’s a free audio tour with lots of descriptive stops across multiple floors, where you can learn more about the vision of the building, the history, and how it was made. Good narrations spanning many different points of view. An absolutely captivating architectural feat both inside and out. Home of the LA Philharmonic. Hope to be back soon for a concert!

It's very beautiful and stunning..we took a tour of the entire building, it's elite. There is paid parking nearby, and a lot of parking areas are there. There is no free parking if u are looking for one. But the best thing is u can also visit the Broad and angels flight and central market. Plus u can also take a metro to Griffith observatory bus stand from that area. So many places u can cover n pay for just one parking.
The hall is marvelous and the building terrace is pretty too. N it's open on weekends because Google says it's not.

The Walt Disney Concert Hall is a beautiful, magical spot, inside out! A definite must experience place in Los Ángeles. The ticket booth is on 1st and Grand as well as some iconic steps. When you walk in there are lots of staff members available to direct you to your seats/ floor. There is a cafeteria and bar on the main floor. Prices are at a premium yet all the choices look excellent- subs, salads, candy, cookies, chips, bar drinks. The concert hall is absolutely magical. Incredible, clean sound from the bohemian strings performance we listened to. The gift shop is filled with unique and cool items! Large, clean restrooms available. Parking is $10 in the underneath structure.

Directly across the road from The Broad Museum. The Walt Disney Concert Hall is an absolutely stunning work of architecture from Frank Gehry, who also designed (among others) The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. The sweeping metal exterior panels of the building are intended to portray the architects love of sailing.
The Concert Hall's stunning visuals (both interior and exterior)are matched by its amazing acoustics which can be experienced by its resident orchestra, The LA Philharmonic, among other performances by various artists throughout the year.
Guided or self guided tours are available free of charge, daily from 10am to 3pm.

The building and grounds are stunning. It's worth to walk around and explore. To the left of the building (outside) there are stairs that leads to the gardens with views of downtown. It's a great place to experience the dimensions of the metal structures. A glimpse of Frank Gehry's designer's mind! Great place to watch the sunset and to take incrediable photos.

Awesome building inside and out. The signage inside could be a little better, but there were courteous ushers at every door, so finding your way around won't be very difficult. The seating is just roomy enough to be comfortable. It was a bit creaky though, and if people in the row above move, you will feel their movement. Sound was great, and views in the orchestra section were amazing. The gardens outside are a nice touch. I would love to come back soon to see another concert. Visually beautiful building designed by Frank Garry. The patio outdoor spaces are great with lots of shade.
The interior is amazing. The accustics are really good, even at the very back balcony. The view to the orchestra and performance is great.
I came to see a musical with my kids. It was an amazing experience. They loved it and have lots of fun. It's something I had always wanted to do. Not many people visit this place as an attraction but let me tell you that you are missing out.
Most of the performances are from non commercial artists and that is probably why there is not of interest in attending. Hopefully with more reviews people can start attending and appreciate the building and experience it brings to LA travelers.
Dodger Stadium is the third-oldest stadium in MLB and was opened in 1962. It is located in Elysian Park, in Los Angeles, and has a seating capacity of 56,000. The Dodger Stadium has seen many successful years for the Dodgers since its opening and has been home to an MVP (Clayton Kershaw) and 3 World Series titles.
What can you say , it’s a historic landmark! I love coming to the stadium ⚾️🧢 the culture the team and just the overall excitement of attending a Dodgers game. I find the staff to be always helpful and super friendly. Pricing it is relatively very very inexpensive for what you get tickets range from anywhere between $10-$80 depending on which seats you would like, in my opinion I think they’re all pretty good seats it’s all about the experience. Parking is about $20 and it’s a bit of a walk to the stadium but look at it this way you can walk off your dodger dog and nachos and get your steps all at the same time.
Now, Play Ball 🏟⚾️

Fun, fun, fun. Great crowds, lots of parking, good staffing, interesting photo op areas inside the gates, stores for souvenirs, family activities, game day food of a great variety, dodger dogs of course, and drinks for the young and old. Note- cash is not the payment of choice in the stands, cards are preferred if not only allowed. The stadium is well kept & the mature plants on the grounds are beautiful. The sky above the stadium dances with those famous southern California clouds as you enjoy the day at the Ball game, performing "the Wave" with the crowd in the stands. Take YOURSELF to the ball game, and enjoy!!!!

Great place to watch a baseball game but there are some shortfalls. Good selection of concessions and food items especially Dodger Dogs. Due to it being an older Stadium, it is difficult to get around to find your seats as you need to find the correct stairs or elevator to reach your level. Right and left field pavilion seats are on benches. Parking at the stadium is a mess after games. Takes forever to leave the parking area as you are sitting in traffic for over 30 minutes not moving. I suggest you use the Metro Dodger Express Shuttle from Union Station or South Bay Station for a much easier experience getting to and from the stadium.

Where most clubs tear down the old and build new, the Dodgers have meticulously maintained and augmented this wonderful art Deco Park. Some advice: If you do go to a game, definitely go early to beat the traffic or... consider parking outside the stadium to avoid the traffic after the game. Parking is also $20-30!

Such a great time! All of the workers were friendly. The parking lot staff had traffic moving in and out with ease. You do have to pre pay for parking. Also they don't allow purses or bags, but you can bring see threw back packs. I saw a ton of people that brought snacks in them. And, we bought smart water for $7 bucks a piece. When the lady checked us out, she told us that they allow you to bring water bottles in the stadium.

We❤️everything Dodgers, including the crowds, the noise, and the stadium BUT they've changed 🌭 vendors (Stick with veggie dogs), and food/drink prices will set you back like Disney. BE SMART=Fill your clear tote with plastic water bottles you can refill for free and a few snacks like🥜,🍿, and cotton candy from the Dollar Store. Then, when you splurge on $20 nachos,🍻, and maybe the (all beef, grilled) Dodger Dog, it won't hurt too much. 😉😋💙GO DODGERS!💙

This is my first time ever in a stadium and I have to say it was an enjoyable experience. Although I am not a baseball fan, I did like the game... besides, the Dodgers won that evening! The stadium has capacity for 56,000 people but it doesn't feel crowded. The seats are well spaced, and the rows are not too narrow. The food was OK. The Dodger Dogs were tasty, but the fries were too salty, and a bottle of water is $7, so a bit expensive (somewhat like airport bottled water, ha ha!). I will say that I look forward to coming back!

Well what can I say, dodger stadium. Attended a game here on our first trip to Los Angeles and of course it was an incredible experience. I read a little bit about the best gate to enter we found proceeded into the stadium. The stadium itself is incredible tons of food and drink options. We're able to get some dodgers clothing for relatively cheap and make our way to the upper portion to find our Seats. The choices of food were a little lacking in the upper portion so I suggest getting what you want to eat on the ground level there is way more options. The view was absolutely picturesque. The game was incredible Dodgers won the game. We left one inning early to beat the traffic and had no trouble getting out. Police everywhere directing traffic and stopping traffic it was a breeze. Yes remember coming in and out there are residential areas so it can be a little tight.

Dodger Stadium has really changed since I was a kid! Downside: Farmer John no longer makes the Dodger Dogs, which seems like a sin. Upside: the Pavilion is a great place to experience the love game but still keep the kids entertained (jungle gym), keep up with other sports (the sports bars) and you don't miss the game because of the large screens and unassigned seating. Make sure you get a pic at field level under the "Blue Heaven on Earth" sign!

My first experience at Dodger Stadium was as vibrant as I've seen on TV. An early setback for the Dodgers sucked the energy out of the place.
Transportation was a breeze, thanks to the Dodger shuttle from Union Station. Despite the queue, the frequent buses ensure an effective boarding experience.
I arrived ahead of game time to snap some photos and enjoy a brief stadium tour. Entry was efficient and hassle-free.
While there was a notable line for refreshments outside, it thins out during the game — a tip for those wanting to avoid the wait.
The Dodger fans were gracious hosts to some Arizona fans I spotted on the bus.

Rick the supervisor was very unkind, I noticed another customer open and extend their shirt and the XL was extremely big. I went up to Rick and told him I didn't realize the XL shirt was so big and if he could do a one time exception that the shirt was still packaged and unopen. He proceeded that he couldn't make that exception that if he did it for me he had to do it for everyone. Now, if you're only going to offer the customers medium or XL jerseys they why don't you mention that before people purchase the tickets. And make sure the fit size chart is available for the customer. Such an inconvenience.

Always a great experience at Dodger Stadium. I've been going here since the ‘70s and have seen the changes over the years, but I still get nostalgic every time from going with my dad to bringing my kids and now grandkids. Let’s go Dodgers!

Attending my first game at Dodgers Stadium was an unforgettable experience! The atmosphere was electric, and being surrounded by fellow fans made it even more exhilarating. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service provided by the staff.
From the moment I arrived, the staff members were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Whether it was directing me to my seat or answering my questions, they did so with a smile, adding to the overall enjoyment of the game.
However, I did notice that the cleanliness of the bathrooms left something to be desired. While I understand the challenges of maintaining high traffic areas during events, I hope the stadium management can address this issue to enhance the overall experience for attendees.
Additionally, while the food options were decent, I would have loved to see a larger variety available. While classic stadium fare is always appreciated, offering a wider range of culinary options would cater to a broader audience and enhance the dining experience for all.
Overall, despite a few minor areas for improvement, my time at Dodgers Stadium was fantastic thanks to the wonderful staff and the electric atmosphere. I look forward to returning for future games and witnessing more unforgettable moments.

The DodgerFest was a really fun event. There were many activities and booths to purchase Dodger memorabilia. It is a fun filled day for kids and adults. The food booths were open and serving all your favorite Dodger grub and beverages. There is free parking and you can sit in the stadium to take a break from all the fun. This is a great event geared towards kids and fans having fun enjoying all things Dodgers

This was stadium 1 on our stadium tour and I loved it. Seats were great. We both had the dodger dogs. Food prices are reasonable. Being a baseball fan you can feel the history.

Great tour - included the team locker room (no photos allowed) and walking on the field and hanging out in the Dodgers dugout. Our tour guide was very engaging and knowledgeable. My spouse is a lifelong Dodgers fan, so this was an especially great opportunity for him. Recommended!

Well it is the Dodgers stadium, a fan friendly home baseball field for the Dodgers. The food fare is great, Seats positioned well, views are great. Some parking situation that can be remedied but who doesn’t have a parking problem with thousands odd cars flocking the area during a game. Well balanced staff for each area.

A dream come true!
Finally, I got to see the Dodgers play here not long ago, and they did not disappoint! The stadium is huge and has some of the best dogs ever!
We enjoyed the game and the atmosphere here. I can't wait to come back next year and do it all again, Lord willing! The parking was the only thing a bit dodgy here. We expected that, though, so no real surprise.
Thanks for a fantastic day of baseball!

It's all in the little details, and this classic stadium has them in spades. From the sun, surf, and sand colored seating...to the beautifully curated landscaping, this place is a jewel. I adore coming here to watch baseball and have fun with other fans. It's always a great time. The staff are friendly and helpful, the parking is plentiful and there are plenty of options for food. Getting in and out of the parking can be busy and tricky, but you should expect that with so many people navigating around it at the same time. I suggest parking farther away from the stadium near an exit for the best experience. Also a good idea to study a map of the stadium before you go so you know which parking lot to use for your seating, so you can avoid having to climb all the stairs to get to your level. Go Dodgers! Blue Heaven!

Great Stadium, Unique experience, very easy to get to and to find tickets. I walked/scooter my way and avoid all the traffic. I had all the fun shopping in their stores and exploring the stadium. It's huge and the crowd is so much fun. Many food and drink options.

Had a blast! We got to enjoy the game at suite level and take advantage of all the food and drinks they offer up there! So much fun! The stadium feels like a blast from the bast! Loved going and seeing the dodgers vs padres!

The Getty Villa is a museum in Southern California that showcases ancient art from Greece and Rome. The museum is located in a replica 1st-century Italian villa and the grounds include lush gardens, courtyards, and peristiles. Highlights of the collection include statues, frescos, marble sculptures, and ancient glassware.
Amazing attraction! So much history and multiple tours available to learn more. We participated in the architecture tour with Betty. She is very knowledgeable and personable!
I would love to come back in September when there's outdoor plays in the amphitheater. Next time, I will want to arrive earlier in the day as well. We were here for 4 hours and it didn't feel enough.
Admission is free and tickets can be reserved two weeks in advance of the date. Parking is $20. Totally worth it for what you get to see and experience!

Amazing place with valuable antique collection and very well organized introduction. Visited with my children, they enjoyed everything in there. Is is really very touching that not only entrance is free, but also they give you freedom to go around to explore and enjoy everything. ( nothing to campers with Hearst Castle visit). The architecture is beautiful, tasteful decor and you are free to organize your special day photo shopping.
Greatest place to visit.
P.S. You need to “book” your spot in advance online, make sure to include everyone ( even infants), and yes it’s free, you only pay $15 parking fee online or in the place. Parking is very safe and well organized, elevators are in every level.

Loved this. Had it recommended but a few people and am so glad we put it on our itinerary. The grounds are gorgeous and the collections are impressive. Definitely worth a visit.
Tickets are free but you'll need to pay for parking on location. Buy the parking online when you grab your tickets and it's a few bucks cheaper than buying at the gate.

A beautiful space and happy that it is open to the public. Lots of sculptures and artifacts to view and the gardens and pool fun to explore and relax. There is lots of parking and the online ticket system is easy to use. Tickets are free, but parking is $20. The restaurant has a nice selection and there are premade sandwiches at the cafe kiosk. You can't really see the ocean, but the sea breeze is still great!

Lovely place to visit and it’s free just go to their website and reserve a slot before visiting. The ocean view, the architecture, the pool, the museum everything is so beautiful. You are allowed to take pictures inside the museum too. They have a good cafe and the food was pretty fresh and decent for the price we paid. Very well maintained gardens. Guided tours are also available which is free. They also have a free guest shuttle from the main entrance up to the villa and down back if you are not taking your car up. Perfect place for a relaxed day out!

Visited in May 2023. Although it was a cloudy day, it was still a fantastic visit to the Getty Villa! The lush green surroundings, along with its captivating art collection, truly impressed me. The drive down the scenic Pacific Coast Highway added to the experience. While the parking fee was $20, the free entry made it a great value. I captured some stunning photos, and the staff were incredibly helpful. Highly recommended!

The Getty Villa in LA is a captivating journey through Greek and Roman history. As you step inside, you're greeted by a mesmerizing collection of historical artifacts that truly astound. The architectural brilliance of the villa itself adds another layer of wonder to the experience. Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply appreciate stunning architecture, the Getty Villa is a must-visit destination that will leave you in awe. Make sure you go for sunset as the views were amazing. You’ll find restaurant on the top floor. Also, they ask you if you have reservations, but we didn’t have one but still could just walk in. So, no requirement for reservations. You can have plenty of parking place inside the villa.

What a wonderful place to visit. I was unexpected to see so many different items from 1st century AD and before like the marble statues or mosaics from the same time period. There's a even jewelry from 400BC and Byzantine jewelry, jewelry that was made in Alexandria.
Roman coins from 1st century AD. Roman glass from 1st century AD. I mean it's just incredible that these things survived until they ended up at the Getty Villa.
Just breath taking stuff from few thousand years ago and now everyone can see it and enjoy it. They even have marble figures from 2700-3000BC.
Currently there's an exhibit on loan from the British Museum in London of Assyria palace art of ancient Iraq. About a dozen or so huge pieces of carved Gypsum from 700BC.
Getty Villa is free but parking is not, it's 20 bucks. They have a huge multi level lot that was almost full on a Wednesday.
Come enjoy the ocean breeze and see some stuff from long long ago. And the gardens are beautiful.

So glad we tried this place. The best surprise was how good the Cafe food was. They have legit chefs and really good food choices. I highly recommend visiting this museum if you get the chance. Get a reservation for entry and pay for parking online. Plan for at least 2 hours to enjoy the place. If you catch it on a sunny day sit outside for lunch and enjoy the beauty of this place. Lots of people from all over visiting and really nice workers too. California has the best weather and high end places to visit. Don't forget to visit the big Getty Museum in LA as well. That one plan an entire day to see everything it has inside tho. This Getty Villa is much smaller scale compared to the big Getty.

This place is incredible. It’s been on LA adventure list for awhile. I haven’t been because I was thinking “eh, it’s just old stuff”. I was wrong. There was so much thought out into the Villa and the gardens. Meticulous details. The architecture is beautiful, and so are the grounds. The collection is very expansive. I did the self-guided audio tour that also recorded with great care. The docents are very polite and very helpful. It’s free, but you need a reservation time. Parking is $20. I didn’t go to the cafe, but when I walked through I saw what appeared to be quality food options and ample serving sizes. I walked through about 80% of the exhibits which took a little over 2 hours. I’ll be going back in November. I’m very glad I went. Nice outing.

So beautiful and fun ! Take your time through the sculptures and found jewelry and or perfume pots. Especially the garden. It’s a sight to see ! They even have an interaction room for the kiddos. Can’t wait to visit the other museums. This was a great start. We were sad to learn that all of the food and herbs grown on property get tossed in the trash because of FDA regulations. Growing food and herbs just to throw it away but overall still a good experience.

It was a beautiful first day of October 2023 in Malibu, Ca, It was also a wonderful time to visit the Getty Villa Museum. The museum is free but costs $20.00 to the park. You also need to make a reservation before you go. The grounds are gorgeous and picture-perfect scenes. I saw a couple having their engagement photos taken. My 16 year old granddaughter enjoyed seeing art in the Era she's studying in school.

Nice villa with a beautiful view. The place is relaxing. Greek and Roman art, as well as a small temporary exhibition on Ancient Egypt.
Only 4 stars because the villa feels a bit fake sometimes because it’s almost brand new but still a good imitation.

An absolutely beautiful institution in Santa Monica. Entrance is free with reservations; the only fee is the $20 parking fee.
Highly recommended to come here on a bright and sunny day, or even better, if you're lucky enough to come in the autumn after a light morning rain.
The art pieces are mostly focused from Mediterranean regions from the ancient eras.
The architecture of the villa seems heavily inspired by Greek and Roman stylings as can be seen by the long hallways and endless columns. It's recommended to take your take and enjoy the whole breadth of the villa as there's a lot to see.

A one of a kind, must see it to believe it place! Among the grandest and most opulent destinations to visit and revisit in Southern California!
The grounds and structures are visually magnificent to be able to pass thru and see. Viewing the ancient artifacts on display was an unexpected and exciting exploration I’ll always remember!
As with the Getty Center, I’d say the Getty Villa is a treasure trove of exhibits and information in an awesome place of eye pleasing aesthetics! I could go on and elaborate on the elaborate, tho after reading the good reviews of others, I couldn’t have said it better!
Photos posted with this review are just a glimpse of the vivid appeal that captures my experience, to see as I’ve seen, tho so much better in person!
Just a note of interest for visitors heading there via Pacific Coast Highway from Santa Monica and Pacific Palisades. When going northbound, look to pass the Sunset Blvd intersection, with a Chevron Station on the right and Gladstones Restaurant on the ocean side, or left. Continue under the pedestrian bridge and past the next traffic light at Porto Marina Way, then be ready to look for the turning lane to turn right at Getty Villa Drive, to check in at the entrance gate.
Walk-ins may arrive via the Metro-Transit Bus 534, or from vehicle drop offs and may also check in at the entrance.
All arrivals will be asked for their reservations along with prepaid parking passes if needed. Otherwise alternate arrangements may be made before proceeding.
All vehicle traffic departs at Coastline Drive, back to Pacific Coast Highway.

Free tickets available starting two weeks in advance of the day you visit. Best to visit first thing (10 AM) when not yet crowded.
Parking is $20 and queue can be long, mostly leaving, as the access road is at a very busy intersection. If you're there early, you can park for free along the beach side of the PCH, with a pedestrian entry near the vehicle access. The bonus of doing this is a van will take you to the villa and will bypass the cars waiting to get into the garage.
They offer three types of tours (art, garden, and architecture), but there's a limit of 10/tour. Get to the tour start area by the gift shop at least 15 minutes before the start time to ensure your spot. Once you get your wrist band (they give out 15 minutes before start) you can visit the gift shop, which is reasonably priced.

We didn’t book in advance but we got in. Tickets are free but parking is 15$. So you are actually paying for admission. I have been in Getty museum a lot of times. But it is my first time an villa. Nice location with beautiful view. Amazing collection of antiques. Great landscape. It even has a greek style amphitheater. But comparing to the museum is very small.

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. If you do nothing else in LA you must go and see this villa and the art works within. The fact that this is made so authentically and true to the original with no expense spared. The museum of art was interesting and the audio phone app enhanced the experience as I am not one to stand and read captions for hours. I loved learning about how the villa was built, walking in the beautiful gardens and imagining how Romans would have lived. Absolutely gorgeous. And it is FREE! (except for parking).

Really well organized museum. They add a lot info (origin, materials, history, before and after the restoration, photos of the excavation…) of each piece. Also the whole Villa is well designed. I would recommend stop by at the family room for a fun break (even if you don’t have kids). After a few rooms you just need a break, take it in that, play with the activities, you wouldn’t regret!

This leisure experience is educational for all ages. Tho this cultural experience is open and free to the public, you will have to reserve a ticket, which ultimately saves a parking space for $20. The entrance to the museum from the PCH is quite narrow and steep. The road is a replica of an ancient Roman one. The parking garage is adequate with plenty of handicap parking on the first level. There's plenty of artifacts and interesting information around every corner. Concentration of displayed artifacts is limited to ancient Greek and Roman architecture and art; mainly statues. Everything is well displayed and clean. Everyone working here was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend taking advantage of the timed tours. There's different tours planned thru out the day. We had the same docent twice for two different tours. He was able to share a great amount of interesting knowledge. The grounds are well maintained and exuberant. The whole facility is easy to navigate, lots of stairs, but there are elevators too. The villa is actually larger than I had expected, I ended up staying the whole day. There is food and drink available for purchase, good quality food with high prices. I enjoyed my visit in winter, so I think any season would be just as enjoyable.

The Villa is an Art museum focusing on ancient Greek and Roman history and architecture. The design of the villa was modeled after Greek and Roman design. The outdoor areas are gorgeous!! The design is amazing, down to the small details. The museum portions were very informative and cool. There is a focus on statues from both ancient civilizations. The museum also includes a cafe and a theater for special shows.

For the first time, I visited this beautiful place. The entrance is free, but you need to reserve a free ticket in advance. A very nice girl greeted me at the entrance. Then, a shuttle took me to the museum itself. After that, museum staff welcomed me, showed me the map, and so on. Inside is very beautiful, and the friendly museum staff were always ready to help guests. There is a cafe where the food is delicious. Thank you.

Excellent reconstruction of an ancient villa. Lots of exhibits. Very impressed. Take your time to see everything. Best viewing spot is on the balcony overlooking the Outer Peristyle (aka garden/pool area). The Getty Villa is situated near Malibu with a beautiful architecture and smaller exhibitions that you can check out. The place is so well maintained and everywhere you go, you get to learn something new or see something beautiful. It was busy and you can’t really take any photos with so many people around you.
There is a cafe where you can grab a meal during your visit and capture some views.
We thoroughly enjoyed walking around and taking in the views and learning about the exhibits. You can spend 1-2 hours walking around and viewing the sights.

The Getty Museum is home to a vast and varied collection of art, ranging from ancient sculptures to modern paintings. The gardens are also popular with visitors, who can enjoy the lovely views while indulging in some delicious snacks or drinks at the on-site restaurant.
The Getty is one of the prettiest museums I’ve ever been to! The entrance is FREE but you do have to register online due to covid. Parking is $20 per vehicle but entrance per person is free. It is definitely worth it and the views are amazing! Their gardens are beautiful and the museums architecture is amazing! There is also these green areas were people just go and sit there to read a book or picnic! I could have stayed here the whole day! I went on a Friday early afternoon and there wasn’t a lot of people. So it was nice to enjoy it!

Great museum with lot of amazing paintings from internationally renowned artists. The drive up the hill with the small „train“ is great fun, entry is free but good luck getting there without a car (parking available for a considerable fee). Narrow parking spaces underground.

The Getty Museum is an absolute gem, and is an experience that combines stunning views, serene surroundings, captivating art, and remarkable architecture. During my visit, I discovered a multitude of reasons to fall in love with this place.
Sitting on top of a mountain offers gorgeous views and scenery that simply take your breath away. Finding a place to relax and unwind is never a challenge. With beautiful maintained lawns, gardens, water features and inviting benches scattered throughout the grounds, visitors can find tranquility. It's the perfect spot to sit back, soak up the sun, and revel in the beauty that surrounds you.
One cannot help but be captivated by the art and architecture within the Getty Museum. The exhibits showcase an impressive collection spanning various eras and genres. From classical sculptures and Renaissance paintings to contemporary installations, each piece tells a unique story, inviting visitors to delve into the world of artistic expression.
Exploring the museum's exhibits is a joy, as you have the freedom to stroll at your own pace. The convenience of the tram system for entering and exiting the museum is a thoughtful touch. Moreover, the fact that the Getty Museum offers free admission is commendable, as it provides access to art and culture for everyone.
However, it's worth noting that parking does cost but the experience and the amenities provided make it a reasonable investment.
I 1000% recommend visiting this place, I’ll be back for sure.

Amazing and huge museum. Can’t believe it’s free and even if it’s not- totally worth visiting. Parking fee is 20$ till 3pm and later it’s 15$. It was bit crowded when we visited, it took lot of time for parking so I’d recommend to plan visit accordingly. It has a great collection of European art, well maintained gardens, galleries and many more. Beautiful architecture. Very well designed and maintained. It’s built on a hill, from parking you can walk all the way to museum main entrance or they also have trains. It also has amazing views of LA from top. We had reserved it in advance however they were admitting people without reservations. Must visit place when in LA.

I have come at least 7 times since it’s close to my job. It’s so nice to see all the art but don’t expect to be able to finish it all within 4 hours. I think it would take a whole day to complete but that sounds awesome to me because all the art is so beautiful. Especially the French area. Love the gift shop and found my new favorite tea there. Anytime friends want to know something to do, I always recommend going here. Took my husband for his first time there as well. Great date, adventure, or just study and chill location. They have a cafe that has foods like sandwiches and chips as well as some sweet treats. They also serve beer/wine if that’s your thing. There are also 2 other restaurants on the premises but when I went it was a very limited menu so I didn’t end up trying anything. According to the servers the portions are about the size of a baby bowl but for the price of a feast yet also mediocre quality. So I personally don’t recommend but if you really want the Beverly Hills experience and to feel fancy, I’d recommend other places than this restaurant. However it doesn’t change my opinion on the museum itself. I never bought or reserved a ticket and never had issues going in. They always say that next time I will need to reserve but I’ve gone so often without doing that so go at your own risk if you don’t want to reserve a ticket.

Amazing place to spend time with your kids! I do admit that a 4 year old boy doesn’t really go with viewing art. But the Getty offers wide open park, where you can run around, let them explore in the safe environment. The admission is free but parking is $20. Do make sure to pack your own drinks and light meals like sandwiches because food there is quite expensive. Coming back definitely!!!

Visited Getty with my wife and young son of 3 months with a stroller. The views are fantastic and the architecture is lovely to stroll around and enjoy on your visit. The art work house at the Getty is great too.. We visited the cafe for a short snack and they had basic options salad, sandwiches etc.. I would probably recommend bringing some snacks as you could spend hours up there and food options although good quality were limited. But the photos were well worth it! I was surprised that entrance for me and the whole
Family was free excluding the $20 for parking.

Always an enjoyable experience visiting The Getty! They still require a reservation or timed-ticket entries at the time of this writing, but it was no hassle, just present it and you'll proceed through the line. I liked the Still life paintings, a lot of detail goes into it, reminds me of my art classes I took when I was younger except they were charcoal black/white drawings, dealing with colors is a whole another level. The outdoor panoramic views of Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean to the west were spectacular. Went during the evening and watching the sunset was nice and gave the museum building a nice golden hue. Thanks for a great time!

Absolutely stunning property with beautiful architecture and views overlooking LA. The museum had a nice variety of exhibits that change periodically. We spent a total of 2.5 hours there but could have easily spent much more time! It’s recommended to register online for timed entry and a number of people did not know to do so but it wasn’t an issue.

This museum is truly an incredible place to visit. Honestly some of the exhibits were closed for maintenance or something but the architecture and views are really what is worth your time. Wandering around the gardens is fantastic and the tram to the museum from parking is really lovely. Definitely worth it. But also reserve your entry time. Tickets are free but you need to reserve entry time and have proof of vaccination.

Fun little tram ride up to the entrance of the Museum.
It was very interesting seeing all the historical art inside, and the staff were very friendly.
The outdoor areas were beautiful and had fantastic views into Los Angeles.
All of this for the fantastic price of $0. Would highly recommend, even for those who just want to go for the views.

Not only is this fantastic and art-rich museum free, it is also one of the best places to visit in Los Angeles! Many different types of art including sculptures and paintings by some of the best painters in the whole world! Had a fantastic time here, and totally worth a visit if you are in LA. Attached pictures are the views from the museum itself.

This museum is FREE. Parking depends on how long you're in the museum but the max is $20.
The tram takes you up to the museum from the parking structure is free and less than 5 minutes.
This museum is HUGE. I'd recommend to wear comfortable, shoes, a hat, a water bottle, and some snacks to save money. All the artworks are indoors but you do have to go outside to get to other buildings for more artworks. And, should definitely check out the garden.
The artworks are separated by different areas and time periods.
They provide umbrella for shade or for the rain which I found interesting.
Took around 4 hours with no tour guidance to walk around and (hopefully) see everything.
I want to add that you can bring big backpacks, but just have them in front of you to prevent any accidents.

For the price of parking your car ($20) you get to see some truly stunning and incredibly valuable art. And if you arrive by bus I guess it's free!
Well organized tram up the hill. Galleries were not too crowded.
Great views over LA on clear days.

Revisiting the Getty Museum was an absolutely awe-inspiring experience. The picturesque views from this hilltop location have the power to amaze anyone who visits. The architectural masterpiece that is the Getty Museum is a testament to human genius. It gracefully blends elements of the ancient world with a modern touch and a futuristic aesthetic, creating a harmonious fusion of art, culture, and innovation.
It's worth noting that to truly appreciate all that the Getty has to offer, it's essential to allocate sufficient time for your visit. Unfortunately, my recent visit was limited by time constraints, but I'm already planning to head back at the earliest opportunity, perhaps during a holiday, to explore it more thoroughly.
I must also extend my heartfelt appreciation to all the dedicated staff at the Getty Museum, who contribute to making this place a treasure trove of art and knowledge. Special kudos go to our enthusiastic tour guide, whose passion and expertise enriched our visit and added depth to our understanding of the museum's incredible collection. This revisit to the Getty has left an indelible mark, and I eagerly anticipate my next chance to immerse myself in its wonders.

Free ticket. Should book ticket 2-3 days in advance if you plan to visit on weekend. Plenty of parking space but it’ll cost you $20 for the whole day. It gets really traffic inside during weekend evening, so try to leave a bit early than others would be great. The arts were super varied. Check the map in advance to find your area pf interest and spend time there. The garden is beautiful, hot, and scenic spot, so don’t forget to spare some time for that

The museum is free to go, but they charge you $25 for parking. They ask you to reserve beforehand the entrance on their website.
The place is amazing. The buildings are impressive, super clean, and well taken care of.
The staff is really helpful and nice. You can walk all the buildings, and each one has different things, some paints, others' sculptures, etc.

The Getty Center is a beautiful location for a museum with gorgeous landscape. You pay one price for a carload of people for parking with access to all the museums. A restaurant is on the property so you can stay all day. The artwork curated for the museum is usually smaller collections but it is worth it because these are the pieces you are dying to see. The modern architectural design of the buildings with the beautiful landscape make this a iconic location.

It's such a beautiful place to visit! A ton to see and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. It is free to get in but $25 to park. Well worth it. My kids loved looking at the art and sculptures. We were there for hours. You do have to schedule your visit online first.

I don't understand art, but I still came to take a look. I was not disappointed. The items inside surprised me. It's very big and it takes about three hours to visit. If you are not in a hurry, you can bring some food and drinks and enjoy it slowly. There are many beautiful flowers in the garden, which you can enjoy and take pictures! It is worth a visit. Parking is $25 per time.

One of the most breathtaking museums around, the atmosphere surrounding the museum is just as magnificent as the artwork inside. You definitely need a full day here, as there are many wings and gardens to explore. We were very lucky because it was a full moon that night and the sunset was beautiful. This is a must on your travels. Enjoy

Must visit place in LA ! We went to the museum by tram and it was fun experience. There were five museums and great views. I couldn’t see all art pieces but I was happy to see paintings by Monet and Gogh. I got strong impression of sunset.

Extraordinary place, phenomenal architecture, wonderful garden, wide views and beautiful collections in an amazing design. This place has a great vibe, you can spend hours studying everything they have here. Here you will also find a bistro and a cafe, many interesting corners where you will lose track of time. This place belongs to all art lovers. However, the journey here is also exceptional, thanks to the Getty Center Tram you can get here quickly and easily from your car. The museum is free of charge, you pay for parking only.

They do not care about your health - AT ALL. They sometimes pretend to care about your wellbeing, but they also do not care about that. Also, you have to fight for your autonomy with them. They know that you are dealing with them reluctantly because you do not have enough money to get by in the current state of the economy. They know that if residents at their sites had enough money, the residents would not be dealing with how they treat people. The United States government does not make sure that its residents have enough money for food and housing. Union Station Services is not the cause, but is a symptom of a nasty problem.

Skirball Cultural Center is one of the most vigorous Jewish cultural institutions in the world. It offers exhibits on Jewish history across many lands and civilizations, as well as courses, readings, and talks designed to enrich its visitors' experiences. The Sepulveda Blvd. location is open Tuesday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and free every Thursday for all visitors ages 18+.
My sisters and I went to the Star Trek exhibit and It Was Awesome!! When we got there I suddenly got tired. I'm disabled, so I don't have the same kind of stamina that most people have. The staff (in particular the docent posted in the exhibit who offered me a chair and got me a bottle of water while my sister got me a wheelchair) were all so kind and attentive. They truly made a wonderful day for us even better. I'm so grateful.

This little-known place is AMAZING!! A whole history of the Jewish culture, especially centering around the 20th century and the Holocaust. The exhibits are exceptionally well-designed and contain so many inspiring materials that provide a new appreciation for religious freedom and human liberty.
For logistics, parking here is free of charge. Entrance to all exhibits is $18 per person. And I don't know what it is, but ALL the staff (each and every person) is incredibly humble, kind, and approachable.

This was one of the smoothest musical show experiences I’ve ever attended. Especially in L.A. From the Parking instructions to the ease of finding the theatre and seating. The setting was just perfect, so beautiful and the musicians were great! The short intros for each song were a great touch. It felt like the right length and was very enjoyable.

4th year membership now, been through the pandemic closure, and finally, Noah's Ark is open again!! 🥺🙏
Online reservation, vaccine proof or negative covid test within 3 days are required. Meticulous, but you'd feel safe! Thank you Skirball staff. Thank you to other responsible guests. For taking this extra step to ensure everyone's safety.
Time limit is now an hour, followed by story time outside in the amphitheater. During story time, staff inside Noah's Ark will spend near an hour sanitzing, wiping down every place possible. Air filters are also in place in every room. Same thing with Archeological Dig, all equipments are cleaned after each use.
Cafe and restaurant are back too. So glad to see you back Skirball!
Best place to join membership for kids to play in West LA. Free parking.

We visited the many exhibits including Noah’s Ark. It made us feel like kids again for a brief time. Wonderful! Kids would love the Ark! Don’t forget to see the rainbow 🌈 wall and snap a photo 📸 with your loved ones. We learned an interesting tidbit from one of the tour guides who asked if we noticed that all the birds; whether painted or made from recycled items that posed as birds, were in fact flying all in the same direction towards the Ark! They also have an exhibit called “The Blacklisted”. Not for kids but grownups who want to learn about the era of time gone by involving communism. Beautiful grounds. Always wanted to stop by here and check it out. Glad I did. The staff is super friendly! If you have a Bank of America credit card, you can get in for free on certain dates with their benefits program “Museums On Us”. Check it out if you do. Also, if you’re planning to grab a bite to eat at their cafe, it closes at 3:30pm (at least on Sunday when we tried getting thru locked doors at 3:24pm!).

Cute museum dedicated to Jewish relics and history. The Blacklist exhibition was excellent. The garden quote exhibition was extremely small. Was here for a Fever event. Candlelight Concerts. It was so beautiful! And made for such a sweet evening during the week! It was refreshing, beautiful and funny! Funny because the Orchid Quartet was a beautiful and funny bunch. A little bit of comedy and a lot bit of beautifully possessing music by Hans Zimmer. In love and will be on the look out for more.

Interesting visit to this museum. We had bonuses about this place but got a tip from a former employee who now works at a pizza place. Nice display about the history of the mining operation and the current work being done here. A new platform outside gives a great view of the whole open pit and surrounding industry. There was a guide there who could tell interesting things about the place and the shop was a nice surprise with loads of fun things to buy (50% geology related of course). Takes about 1-2 hours to visit but definitely worth it if you happen to pass by.

A highlight location whenever visiting Boron, CA. This mine is the largest open-pit mine in California and the 2nd largest Borax mine in the world providing 1/3 of the world's supply of Borax. Several fun photo opportunities available (Pit Mine Overlook, Giant Truck, Giant Tire, Life-sized Original 20-Mule Team Wagon, etc) and several piles of rocks in the parking lot where you can even gather your own borates. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable with both Marlon and Elsie making our experience memorable in their own ways. Old-school depot offering exhibits on trains, a working signal garden, play area, gift shop & tours.
Nice, donation based, Museum. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Our docent showed us around, answered questions, and then left us to explore on our own. There is a nice area outside where you can sit and watch the trains go by. Make sure you hear the story about how the depot burned down. The story really shows how committed the Tehachapi community is to saving their history.

A fantastic visit. This is quite a small museum, but it packs a number of interesting artifacts and is completely free. But the stars are the volunteers. I spent the best part of an hour there just chatting to them, sharing and contrasting the US and UK rail systems.
If you've an hour free, it's not too far from the LA to San Francisco freeway. Divert, have a look around and a chat, leave a donation if you can and then visit the Tehachapi loop viewpoint.

Very fun place to see! Guids were very nice and informative. If you're a Railroad enthusiast, this the place to check out. There is no admissions fee. Plz leave donation to help with the preservation of this historical treasure.
Then drive 10 mi down the road to check out the Tehachapi loop. If the train comes by the station and your fast you can get on the 58 west bound and make it to the observation point and watch the train come thru the loop!

Very cute. All of the staff are enthusiastic. They might all be volunteers. They also encouraged us to visit the Tehachapi Loop overlook and gave directions. The Tehachapi Depot Museum is a really neat exhibit full of historical curiosities. They have some nice antique pieces of railway equipment and adjacent items like old luggage, etc. I liked that they display a piece of train track that had melted under extreme duress. They also have preserved news clippings and other literature for your viewing.
The staff is very pleasant here, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I like that the museum is situated directly next to the actual operational railway, that there is a railroad-themed playground next door, and that a great sandwich deli and bakery, Kohnen’s, is only a hundred feet away.

The Tehachapi Depot Museum is an excellent place to visit and watch trains. You have both Union Pacific and Burlington Northern Santa Fe passing right next to this depot. The information in and around the Tehachapi Depot Museum is very educational. I fully recommend and support this Museum.
Came here in 2017 with our kids, and returned without them today. Google it to be amazed before actually seeing it. We were fortunate to arrive on a clear day, and right as a train was approaching. 27,000-acre park with cliffs, buttes & canyons popular for hiking, camping & horseback riding.
A definite must see if you enjoy desert scenery, national parks, hiking or just want to go somewhere new. They have a visitor center with a gift shop, day use and even camping. There are trails you can hike as well near by which take you back into some beautiful rocks formations. It reminds me of a miniature grand canyon. Plus there are plenty of crevices in the rock formations you can go in and explore.

Rocks were definitely red! In all seriousness though, this place was quiet, and definitely worth the drive. It was pretty hot so we didn't hike far, but the landscape and rocks are totally awesome to see as someone who's never been to any kind of desert before! I will note, the visitors centre was closed even though the hours on the door were listed as it being open, but they had maps you could take for free so we were able to find our way around fine. Also, they had nice off-roading trails as well. Nice place!

Can you believe it? All of what we see now used to be under water, the entire area was at the bottom of a massive lake millions of years ago! We passed through Red Rock Canyon on our way to Mammoth lake. Not gonna lie, I wanted to come when we were on our way back from Death Valley a couple of months ago, but we didn't have enough time to stop by. So, I feel like I had to plan for a visit this time, and luckily, it turned out amazing. The camel rock reminds me of Cappadocia in Turkey, and the Turk's turban rock looks even more beautiful in person. We didn't have time to check out window rock this time, but I feel like Red Rock Canyon would be a great destination for RV camping and stargazing. How lucky we have such an amazing place in Cali, and it's only less than 3 hours away from LA!

Amazing geology, beautiful painted desert! You can drive and park right next to the rock formations, so family members who can't really hike will enjoy this spot. It's part of my favorite day-trip loop with family and friends. I take some folks in my Jeep, driving from Tehachapi - Bakersfield - Kern River Canyon - Lake Isabella - Red Rock Park - and end at the Windmills by California City. If you time it right, you can get the color of Red Rock just as the sun sets, then the windmills just after sunset. These photos of Red Rock are just before sunset, and a wildfire haze made a surreal pinkish hue in the sky.

Absolutely gorgeous views, I was in love with this place! A very nice drive, with numerous areas to stop. It can get a little "touristy" in certain areas, but we were able to walk further in and find private areas to relax. Fair warning though - I can't tell you how many people (including ourselves) were under dressed and freezing. 🤣 I think we all assumed being so close to Vegas/the dessert that it would be hot. It can get very hot, but definitely check the weather before you go!

The otherworldly landscape consists of odd pinnacles of calcium carbonate rising from an alkaline lake, creating a haunting and unique setting. While there are no facilities at the site, it offers a cool spot for desert camping and exploration.
Awesome weekend getaway. Who would know this place existed. Great place to explore and camp. Perfect spot to stargazing. Another spot adds to our Fav 😍 place to camp. Just make sure [leave it better than when you found it]. LEAVE NOT TRACE BEHIND. So the next generation will still enjoy this natures wonder.

Very cool spot off the highway. Worth a drive to check it out - it’s 5miles from the highway on a dirt road. 2 wheel drive vehicles are fine to get you there, however the path around the pinnacles gets confusing and you could easily end up on some more difficult roads. I recommend parking and taking the walking trail if you’re in a 2 wheel drive vehicle. Impressively, the pinnacles are leftover from a time this area was underwater. We saw people camping off in the distance, and lots of 4x4 and dirt bikes.

The Trona Pinnacles are a very unique site to see if you're into desert camping. I visited in April 2021 and loved camping alone and exploring the Mars landscape. There is only one pit toilet and it's not very clean. Bring your own toilet paper. There is also no water anywhere, so bring that too. It can get cold at night and is windy pretty much every time I've gone out there, but it's nice to get away from everything. Camp anywhere, just not on the road (yes, I've seen people do this).

This place is highly memorable. Strange creations of rock. I wish it was at least a little more "touristy" i.e. there is nothing here. Just the attraction, i think there is 1 bathroom as well.

Simply amazing, other than the meat heads acting like chimpanzees. Stars and landscape are awesome. Sulfur smell is present and coyotes like to visit camp at night, so take care to clean up and LNT. Great launch point to DV and the rest of the Mojave

Trona is in an other dimension and in another planet. Enjoy getting lost until you find yourself in Trona!

Beautiful and otherworldly. At night it got really windy and we unfortunately couldn’t stay as the winds were too strong. We plan to return 🙂

Awesome desert area with tall spires, very scenic, dirt road and getting there can be confusing, don’t rely on Google maps - make sure you know where you’re going, good thing is there is still cell reception there. Have thick tires.

Visiting Trona Pinnacles offers a unique and mesmerizing experience, transporting you to an otherworldly landscape that seems straight out of a science fiction movie.
Begin your exploration of Trona Pinnacles by embarking on one of the designated hiking trails or driving routes. These routes will take you through the labyrinth of towering spires and ancient rock formations that characterize the landscape. Take your time to absorb the surreal beauty and snap some breathtaking photos.
Take advantage of the interpretive signage scattered throughout the area to learn about the geological processes that formed the pinnacles over thousands of years. Gain insight into the unique combination of tufa, or calcium carbonate, formations that make Trona Pinnacles so remarkable.
Finally, explore the area, focusing on capturing the ethereal beauty of the pinnacles through your lens. Experiment with different angles, perspectives, and lighting conditions to truly capture the essence of this otherworldly landscape.
Bon Voyage my friends.

This is a cool spot to check on your way to dead valley. This is how I planned my trip. Traveled here one day camped and headed over to the national park the day after. There are no facilities here and it can get windy at night. The bad part about this is the people not really the place. People playing music until late at night I am talking 1 am and others with super bright lights that covered the entire area. How do you enjoy nature like that? On the positive it is a cool place to explore and camp. There are wild donkeys in the area. The stars look amazing at night and the place is big enough that you can find a quiet spot away from the rude campers. The place is also patrolled by the rangers so it gives you a sense of security as well. As far as what car can make it here. Any car can make it to the entrance depending on the weather of course. But the back roads should not be taken unless you have a 4x4 or high clearance. If you have a camper can stay to the entrance area.

A bit of a rough road for an old truck and camper but worth the drive. Camped there a good few days. Spots were spaced well. Fun area to explore.

Rough road to get all the way back there but worth the effort. Large campsites. Truck and trailer fit no problem.

I have been here many times. Although there is some light pollution at night, it is very suitable for shooting stars.

Another bucket list dispersed camping spot. It feels desolate and very remote, and awe inspiring. It has tons of camping spots all around the pinnacles and tends to get pretty busy. It may be hard to find a well sheltered, private and level spot. It also tends to get very windy. Blow your tent away windy. Fires are allowed.
During the Pleistocene, massive runoff spilled from the Sierra Nevada into a chain of inland seas. The system of interconnected lakes stretched from Mono Lake to Death Valley and included Searles Lake.
Deep beneath Searles Lake, calcium-rich groundwater and alkaline lake water combined to grow tufa formations. Similar (modern) formations can be found today at Mono Lake to the north.
Known as tufa pinnacles, these strange shapes formed underwater 10,000 to 100,000 years ago. The pinnacles did not all form at the same time. They are divided by age and elevation into three groups. The groups are dubbed the northern, middle, and southern groups because they formed during the three ice ages.

Educational museum providing history exhibits on the Mojave Desert, petroglyph tours & a gift shop.
Lovely little museum with lots to discover. Was incredibly intrigued at the small door in the corner next to the taxidermy puma. Perfect fit, if not in need of a spot of WD-40. Greatly enjoyed the contents within.
Jonah was very helpful and informative, even providing several entertaining stories of his great-aunt's exploits during the Cod Wars. I had no idea the intense role taxidermy played in winning.
Five out of five tiny, rent-free, oh-so-easy to slip into the warm walls from, doors.

We came here to escape the heat and was pleasantly surprised. Great artifacts and information. The woman working is named Nora and she was so friendly and gave us great places to explore around the area. There were great brochures and information you can take with info on hiking, camping, bird watching, etc. Their gift shop was also very cute

We love our local museum. It is small, but it has a lot to offer the community. We appreciate the children's activities that they hold monthly, and the other evening events (including star gazing events). We are lucky to have such a great place in our small town!♥️

Worth the $5 fee to tour around the exhibits that range from local animals and geology to mining history and a small exhibit on the sidewinder. Also an art gallery and gift shop, but that wasn’t my favorite part. Really liked learning about earthquakes and other types of salt mining.

Nice place. Very interesting facts about town and mining. Met a very lovely lady who works there Nora. She was very informative and so sweet. My sister and I talked to her for like 20 min or so. Sometimes they have crafts for the kids as well.

Small/Mid Size museum with a lot of information on local history, wildlife and art. A lot of fun with friends or family or just alone. Resources available in the gift shop for places to travel and visit. I was especially happy to see old photos of Ridgecrest and very nice ceramic art for sale (priced very reasonably) The gift shop is also full of goodies. FREE ADMISSION - second SATURDAY of every month!

Very small place but had some nice artifacts of the town and its history.
Photography room was played out a bit oddly alongside the small corridor with more information.
The animals and display of minerals was nice with an area for kids to interact and play.
The gallery room was full of art that was interesting.
I wish the gift shop sold key rings of the metal men outside.
With a height of 80 feet, Darwin Falls is the highest waterfall in Death Valley National Park. It is accessible via a hike and its lush canyon vegetation is said to add to the adventurous feel of the hike.
Darwin Falls in Death Valley National Park is an incredible place to visit. I went in November of 2022 after the heavy rain storms and it was fantastic. Seeing an oasis with a rushing waterfall and creek in a dry desert was amazing. The hike was maybe a mile or so long from the parking area and was a little wet and muddy due to the recent heavy rains but well worth it. Highly recommend if visiting Death Valley.
Brendan Kiely — Google review
Nice short hike. The main problem is the ~2 miles of terrible road to the trailhead. The trail itself is easy but muddy and requires jumping over shallow streams, hence it might be infeasible for people with disabilities. The falls are not as beautiful as death valley's main attractions, so you should stop here only if you are staying in the area for multiple days.
Leno — Google review
Fantastic trail, wonderful scenery at the end. We had it all to ourselves, too!
Qadgop the Mercotan — Google review
Must drive through gravel and bumpy road. Any car is fine for the road but must drive slowly to get to the trailhead. On the trail, have to cross over small streams. The trail becomes muddy in the winter and some rocks can be slick and slippery. My left foot has slipped and landed in the stream.
Then have to climb over some rocks to see the waterfall. Don’t expect to see some grand waterfall like Nevada/vernal falls. This is not a big waterfall and I would not have expected it in a place like Death Valley so it is impressive in a way.

Darwin Falls is a 18-foot spring-fed waterfall in the western part of Death Valley National Park near Panamint Springs. The access road from CA-190 is a rough gravel road and best with high clearance. From the small trailhead, the trail leads up Darwin Wash. Initially, the hike is through desert and doesn't seem like there should be a waterfall. About a half-mile into the hike, there will be a little bit of water and start to see more vegetation. Soon, there are willow trees and a flowing stream. The trail ends at the scenic little waterfall that flows year round. The spray from the falls allows ferns and other greenery to grow all around the falls and makes a beautiful oasis. We really enjoyed this hike and it was very unique to hike to a lush oasis in Death Valley.
Justin P — Google review
I drove 3.5 hours to check out Darwin Falls. When I got to the turn off the road was completely gone. I assume from the rains earlier in the year. It would have been nice if there were some signs along thus highway saying thus area is closed. Don't go there! You will not be able to access the road.
Chris Helvie — Google review
Unexpected, year round waterfall in Death Valley. Easy, level hike, about 1.5 miles with quite a lot of shade. However, there has been a rockfall close to the waterfall blocking the path. The waterfall is only accessible via a serious scramble over the rocks and is not possible for folks with limited mobility.

Hidden gem in the middle of the desert. Such a surreal and stunning place! Takes quite a while to get there (the 2mi road took us >30 min due to its condition) but it's so much worth it! Since this is an important ecosystem for the animals around, please treat it with respect and care!

The falls at the end of the trail are awesome. However, for the adventurous a bit of rock climbing will take you to the upper falls which are spectacular.

Truly awesome walk through film history in the Lone Pine area. Fabulously curated with TONS of historical artifacts! It’s a $5 donation to get it but worth ten times that! If you visit Death Valley, you have to make a stop here. Plan at least 2-3 hours to take it all in.

Lots of awesome memorabilia from the last 100 years of westerns films in the Alabama hills. Definitely highly recommend. It was worth every penny. Their hours posted were from 9:00 to 4:30 daily. Hidden gem in a small town.
Such a treasure place recording and telling stories about the golden time of old western movies.
They have a small documentary playing in a tiny theater inside the museum. Very interesting short film. For the $5 ticket, what you get is way more than what you spend. Everyone visiting Eastern Sierra, Alabama Hills, Mt.Whitney or just have a short break driving 395 should fit 30-60 minutes time slot for this place to your trip plan.

This is a great place to visit here along highway 395 in Lone Pine. It shows a lot of the history of the area and lots of filmmaking memorabilia: from movie props to posters. It is unbelievable how many films were filmed in the immediate area, and the museum has it all documented and on exhibit.
The price is just $5 a person so for entertainment value it is hard to beat in this area.
The Alabama Hills, situated on Whitney Portal Rd/Movie Flat Rd, are a well-known destination for camping and hiking. The area's impressive peaks and rock formations provide a majestic backdrop that contrasts with the jagged, snow-capped Sierras in the background. These striking orange rocks have been featured in numerous western movies as well as modern films like Iron Man (Jon Favreau, 2008) and Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained (2012).
Recently visited Alabama hills and loved the place. It's so beautiful. Desertscapes on one side and the standing high snowy Sierra mountains on the other. We camped in the Portuguese Joe campground and the views of Mt.Whitney were visible. Sunrise is awesome. The movie road is just amazing.

I went here about a year ago in my RV for a couple nights and never posted a review but it really is nice. The rock formations are so much larger in person. It's cool to walk on and thru them. The mountains in the distance is the icing on the cake. This is one thing I love about California...you get so many different landscapes in such a short distance. Beach, mountains, huge trees, desert...everything is a couple hours away.
Oh the cell reception here was really spotty for AT&T so I recommend paying attention to your phone if you plan on staying overnight. It would jump from 5G to nothing by just going a short distance uphill, downhill or around corners.
D. Jackson — Google review
My son and I went out here mid may. Weather was mid 70s during the day and mid 40s at night. We arrived around 4pm and saw a few hiking areas right away.
We decided to look for camp which was great because most spots you can spend the night in were unfortunately already taken. I would definitely recommend coming early to get a spot locked in early if you plan on spending the night.
I'm not sure if rangers really check spots but older camping areas have been changed to day use only in a lot of areas. There are still plenty of spots, but again get there earlier (before noon).
Overall it was a great trip. My 6 year old son really loved just camping, climbing on rocks, being out in nature, and it was cool waking up to snow capped mountains.
At night, the stars are crazy! Never seen so many. Loved it!

Alabama hills was one of my bucket list and finally we tent camped for two nights. We found the very nice spot with privacy ... I think it was the second pull on the right side after you turned on to Movie rd. We live 33' 5th wheel and we wouldn't bring our camper here. I can't say there isn't site big enough for our camper but probably hard to find because it is very popular camp site. Most of campers I saw were van type. Happy camping!!

A bucket list camping spot. One of the most beautiful places you can go camping in your car. Everything is extremelt well organized, and while crowded and always busy, still feels private and very special.
The number of camp spots is very limited and is strictly enforced. To camp there you first need to register online for free. There are only a handful of spots with the views of the Sierras, so make sure plan on advance and arrive early as it's first come first serve. Better come during the week. Great hiking trails and overallis just otherworldly. No wonder they filmed so many movies here.

Great place to camp! Seems like there are only certain areas designated for overnight camping (completely free of course) compared to years ago. Likely due to the increased popularity of this place. High winds! Make sure to tuck in between some boulders at night.

Japanese-American relocation center during WWII now featuring artifacts, a virtual museum & more.
Amazing historical site that should not be missed. As many states race to erase the atrocities of the past, Manzanar stands as an opportunity to acknowledge those atrocities so we don't make the same mistakes again. This is a great visit for all of any age.
The visitors center is incredibly maintained and full of information and artifacts. The few preserved barracks and other buildings paint a vivid picture of what it was like to be interned there.

Great location to stop. It’s free. So much history in the museum. There’s a list of names of who was there. There are setups so that we can get a feel for how they lived. There’s a kids section where they have answered questions. Many audio files of people sharing their story. You can walk to a few buildings that are mocked up to show the inside of community hall, the school, someone’s apartment, the cafeteria, basketball court, of a few of the parks created by the people interned there.

Please visit! I promise anyone traveling along the 395 who who takes a few minutes to pay respect to the 10,000 Japanese AMERICANS who were forced to live there for 3 years, won't regret it. The Manzanar historical site is a definite must stop and go in and see. The museum is beautiful on the inside and there is a wealth of information for you to see and hear. They even have little booklets for kids to fill out (it varies for kids ages on the activities in the book) to become junior rangers as it's a fun way for the kids to learn about what happened as well. They have a lovely small giftshop and clean bathrooms. They also have an auto tour you can drive with designated pull off points so you can get out and walk to see different areas (the hardest, kids village, etc) as well they have a path for you to walk it. Any vehicle can do the auto tour but if you want to drive back to the Manzanar reservoirs you will want a vehicle that can handle dirt roads with rocks/light offroading( I would not suggest cars or lowered vehicles) for that part. There is so much to see and learn about what happened here, it is an eye opener. No cost to get in but you can donate and it is definitely worth donating.

Whoa. Wow. Manzanar National Historic Site did a brilliant job of covering this depressing yet important part of American History. The visitor center museum is enlightening and set up very well. It is very interactive and informative. There is a driving tour and replicas of living quarters, a school building, and a mess hall. It is rather incredible with the whole place being under the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains. The video is well worth watching - it shows how the Japanese American people managed to beautiful the area and keep their spirits alive. - H 🌍

Sad and moving to be in the actual barracks, mess hall, and classroom, to pay respects at the cemetery, to feel the shame of bigotry that persists. I've heard and seen of Manzanar on documentaries for years and have been wanting to come and see for myself. Well we finally made it and to me it was well worth the time to stop and visit even in 107 degrees. The historical value of showing how fear and racism could envelop a country, because of the color of their skin or shape of their eyes was a tragedy. Being there, reading their stories, seeing their pictures, looking at all the names of the individuals that were interned there was sad. I actually got choked up to know that our own government did this to this to their own citizens. They had to get rid of all their possessions and take only what they could carry on their backs... sad. Being able to tour and walk a little(because of the heat) of the camp doesn't do justice because there isn't much standing except replicas of a few buildings. But after seeing documentaries, visiting the visitor center, reading and listening to their stories gives you an idea what it felt like to be there. We walked a little, sat at some benches and just imagined what they must've gone thru, truth is we couldn't, it had an eerie sound when the breeze blew. We want to go back when it's cooler and walk the compound, yes it looks huge but that's with no buildings so you could only imagine what it looked like with the many buildings and over 10,000 people. If you haven't been there I suggest you do go, it really does give you a perspective of what fear does to people, especially in today's environment.

Zumwalt Meadows is a serene and picturesque mountain meadow situated within the boundaries of Kings Canyon. This area is famous for its lush greenery and popular loop trail, surrounded by the grandeur of Kings Canyon. Although there was a portion of this two-mile loop that was reportedly closed, visitors can still enjoy an easy walk along the riverbank, with low elevation and flat terrain making it accessible to all.
This was a beautiful, diverse trail that starts in the parking lot, walking across the bridge, trees, rocks, and then the view of the meadows. We went two days after Labor Day and it wasn’t busy. There was an unexpected thunderstorm when we got to the meadows and decided to cut our hike short.

At the end of the scenic byway at Kings Canyon National Park, you'll find this meadow.
I was surprised at the lack of hiking at this national park, so we definitely wanted to stop here and walk around for a bit.
There was supposed to be a two mile loop, but it the sign said part of it was closed. We didn't see it closed, but we did get to a point where we weren't sure where to go anymore, so that's where we turned back.
The trail is along a river which is pretty. You're at a low elevation and the trail is flat and easy. The surroundings are pretty though and there's some nice mountain views.
If you're passing by, I think this is a good place to get out and explore for a bit.

Stunning scenery and a bear sighting if lucky. Took a dip in the river to cool off from the mid-July heat. The loop is still closed, but you can still access the end of the meadow via out-n-back.

Beautiful scenery at the end of a 30 mins flat trail. Well worth the drive towards End of the Road in Kings Canyon.
Kings Canyon National Park boasts a diverse landscape that is perfect for outdoor activities such as hiking. The park features enormous trees that are especially breathtaking in the winter season, but it is important to bring high-quality snow chains during this time. While some areas of the park may be closed due to fire and weather conditions, visitors can still enjoy Grant's Grove and take in the scenic drive.
Gorgeous park to visit. Worth the extra driving time. Don't be deceived, even though it is right next to Sequoia National Park there is extra driving especially in the winter time, when some roads are closed. You can see Sequoias here and even can walk through a hollow tree. Less crowds than Sequoia NP. Bathrooms available throughout and a nice gift shop open on holiday weekends and in the summer. Totally worth going if you get the time.

One of the best place I visited on the planet. Really it's a must visit place in USA. The views are special, attractive, breath taking, gorgeous, amazing... Will be a trip of life time. The volume, quality, beauty of the nature is wordless here. The roads are safe, lots of stop or turn out options on the road. So can easily clock photos on this route. There are lots of camping ground options too.

Not as crowded as other nearby parks. Still some limited road access due to the winter washout damage. Well maintained and easy to get around. Many beautiful trails and beautiful views. The proximity to multiple parks makes the America The Beautiful passes well worth it.

We like Kings Canyon is beautiful and easy access. There are many areas closed due to winter storm. We like the Hume lake; there are many activities over there but, it’s a little bit difficult finding a parking space near the Sandy Cove so we park near the camp ground area by the lake.

My wife and I decided to visit a handful of national parks in January and February this year. We were expecting to run into snow and we did in Kings Canyon national Park. Other than not being able to access some high elevations due to road closures and the need for snow chains, we did see some pretty cool stuff and had a great time. Photos of general grants tree don’t do it any justice at all. Great place to visit even in the winter but again bring snow chains if you can.

Absolutely stunning. Especially with the snow in the winter. Definitely bring GOOD snow chains if you go around this time of year but it's a whole different experience than the spring or summer. Parts of the park are still closed because of the fire and weather but you can still see Grant's Grove which is enough on its own along with the scenic drive. The Sequoias are amazing to look at and getting to walk through them is a really impressive experience.

Great National Park! This is the only way to see the giant Sequoia trees since the road is blocked on the south entrance. The trees are spectacular, there’s even a shuttle system to see General Sherman. Do not miss this park!

This is a great place to visit, the place is really clean and everyone seems really nice. There is a few restrictions about having your pet. Some trails you cannot take your dog on. And I highly recommend doing some research about getting a campsite, because they have no phone service at all, and no internet. What they do have it's extremely slow. So definitely plan ahead before going here.

My visit to Kings Canyon National Park in the fall of 2021 left an indelible impression of natural grandeur. The towering giants of the forest, adorned in hues of redwood and fall foliage, created a mesmerizing spectacle. The sheer scale of the trees, including the iconic sequoias, instilled a sense of awe and reverence for the beauty of the natural world. The fall colors added a vibrant touch to the landscape, enhancing the already breathtaking scenery. The tranquility of the park, coupled with the majestic presence of these ancient trees, made for a truly immersive and unforgettable experience, highlighting the unique allure of Kings Canyon National Park during the autumn season.

It was so peaceful. Well worth the drive and short stops along the way. Loved the overlooks! There are many easy and difficult hiking trails with beautiful sites. I truly enjoyed the fresh and clean air.

We had a great day exploring Kings Canyon!
The scenery is beautiful but the drive can be quite challenging. Luckily most people drive slowly and carefully. There are signs showing the major sights and Vista points, so it's easy to find things. It's a great place to discover

I love coming here when you have a big group or kids compare to going to Yosemite! There is much more you can do here if you're not much into hiking but going to lakes or seeing a beautiful scenery.

Really beautiful and a great camping experience.
We stayed at the Sunset Campground, close to the Visitor Center. The restaurant at the visitor center is a great option to see around the park and quickly grab food.
Check out the Hume lake area, General Grant Tree, Gremlin cabin, Michigan Tree and the Panoramic Point during sunset for great views of the park.
Sequoia NP is a short drive from Kings Canyon NP and is a great option to check out the next day on a camping trip 🏕️

If I could give it ten stars I would. This is a must see park. The Giant Sequoias are incredible. The General Grant tree is the main attraction, but so many others are equally as stunning. Walking through the canyon feels magical with the light filtering through enormous trees that are 1,500 plus years old.

We went on Nov 29, 2023 from Los Angeles, about 4 hour drive with on/off traffic. We took our dog, although the NPS website has a few dog friendly trails, it's hard to locate them. However we were told it's okay to walk our dog on the paved area and camping area which our dog really enjoyed. It's not our first time here, and we e joy coming to sequoia and kings canyon. A lot of things and places are closed during this season due to low traffic and the weather, but the nature is definitely beautiful and this place is a gem. I recommend this place to anyone that hasn't been here, and it's worth buying the annual pass/national park pass. Restrooms were extremely clean, friendly park rangers, nice fall colors and plenty of water of stream. Don't forget to fuel up before coming up, and always good to bring extra snacks/food, not many options up there. It's even good to bring a sandwich or two from subway/mcdonalds near by, and always carry extra water.

One of the most underrated National parks, it's like a combination between Sequoia and Yosemite yet it never has any crowds. Kings Canyon is certainly a must see if you're in the Sierras.

Lovely park - even though the actual Kings Canyon was closed due to a road closure (October, 2023). Panoramic Point was especially lovely at sunset. Grant Tree was a nice easy walk but the adjacent trails were just as lovely and with no crowds.

Lovely national park. I can certainly place this in the top 10 national parks (maybe not in top 5). The sequoia trees are a thing of beauty and awe here. I was lucky to see some deer crossing by the road. The Grant tree is definitely the highlight. That will certainly get anyone mesmerized.

I love our nation's national parks. Every American should have the right to see and visit this country's national parks as taxpayers. Happy to see my taxes go to supporting this type of endeavor, instead of sending money to other countries to spend on their arsenals.
King's Canyon is close to Fresno, I thought it was easily accessible. Unfortunately the road into the canyon itself was closed, though some of it is viewable from the Sequoia side of the park. I visited the Sequoia containing parts of the King's though and thought the General Grant tree was cool. Hiked around the area for about 4 hours.
Unfortunately this part of the Sierras collects a lot of pollution from elsewhere in Commiefornia but I still enjoyed it.
The Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest Visitor Center is a natural preserve that offers seasonal tours to view some of the world's oldest living trees, which are located over 10,000ft above sea level on the arid White Mountains. The forest has trails and picnic areas for visitors to enjoy and explore, but no access to water. The highlight of the visit is viewing Methuselah - an ancient tree that is around 4700 years old.
This hiking and visitor center is about an hour off of 395 but well worth the drive. What a beautiful place to relax, eat something and take one of the many hiking trails.
Lisa C — Google review
Our favorite park on the 395 South. The stars are bright, the air is clear and fresh, the ancients are enthralling. Be sure to camp, spend at least three nights and wander the trails. On foot is the best, but also a cycling paradise. Nearby is Lonepine, Independence and Bishop. Good for resupply and each with its own charm. But up in the mountains, is where you'll find real sustenance for body and soul!
Gustav Erlank — Google review
The visitors center was closed but the park was open for viewing. Do the hikes, take your time, and enjoy it. Every time I thought I'd seen everything the trees had to offer, they'd surprise me again.

Great family adventure! The Methuselah trail is a great 4 mi hike through the 5,000 year old trees. Great views of the eastern Sierras on the way up and a great view toward Death Valley while on the trail. It’s at 10,000 feet, so take your time. They have toilets open year around. Bring food/snacks with you. Enjoy Bishop and other fun hikes while you’re in the area.

Fast climbing windy road, starts at about 4000ft. up to 10050ft. at the Shulman Grove and Visitors Center. The trees are awesome. They are definitely unique and striking in appearance. There are a few different hikes depending on ability and time. We took the Discovery Loop, it is right about 1 mile and took about an hour with stopping for photos and to read the many plaques along the trail. It is dog friendly so we were able to bring out little guy, he enjoyed the trail and found plenty of new smells. The Visitors Center has a lot of information about the trees, geology of the region, and Edward Shulman who discovered the ages of the oldest trees. There is a nice little gift store with some cool unique souvenirs. A little off the beaten path but well worth the effort.

Beautiful ancient forest of these twisted and gnarly wonders of the world. Have a good strong vehicle as the road to get there is steep, winding, and sharp turns. It's hard going up, and hard coming down on your vehicle, but worth the trip! These trees are thousands of years old! It will blow your mind the way these grow! If you love nature, and a good hike this is the spot!

It is in the remote area in California. We visited here when we drove along HWY-395. It is paved road from Big Pine to the visitor center. The discovery loop is next to the visitor center and it is modest trail. You can see the oldest trees in the world here. It is really amazing.

Lovely visitor center with lots of information. The Methuselah trail has beautiful examples of art in nature, with the twisted trunks of the ancient trees. Groves of flowering mountain mahogany and other high altitude flowers even in September. Astounding views of the Eastern Sierras and the Death Valley. You also get to see many geological variations from dolomite to limestone.

It was amazing to see such ancient trees, some of which have been around for more than 4000 years. The trail is quite short, about 1.5 miles but the views are spectacular. Be careful if you visit during the winter since the road to the site is not properly maintained.

Access to this park is a long, gravel road but worth the drive. The ancient trees are amazing to see for yourself. The Visitor's center was closed when we went but there is plenty of information around it and along the trails.
The staff is extremely knowledgeable about little facts that weren't even written down. The shop was fantastic with many little treasures of history. Make sure and ask about the bank vault that is in the merchandise shop. The whole town is so neat to see how far they came in less than 100 years. From the railroad Western Union to the beauty parlor complete with a hearse as well. You could probably spend all day here just reading and looking at all the little things that made a town a town. The museum curator also said there was a turntable that was so well balanced four men could move an entire road car 180°. It's amazing to see all of the different hardships that these pioneers overcame and what all the railroad meant to our nation! This is a great museum!

Amazing museum just outside Bishop. There’s something for everyone here, train lovers, mining buffs, antique collectors, you name it, they have over 30+ displays throughout the property. Easily plan for a hour here, or more. The gift shop is top notch and they have clean bathrooms. Admission is a donation.

Quite a nice outdoor museum. Lots of exhibits related to early settler life in the Owens valley. The train ride is on a diesel powered rail car. The car was restored by volunteers with some incredible skills. The ride is about 15 min long. Be forewarned about half of that time is spent sitting still while a switch is moved. Our favorite exhibit was the mining and milling. There we got a tour from a gentleman who's name I believe was Jay. He is truly "a man who knows his arse from a hole in the ground"
If you can, take his whole tour from shaft to assay. Jay has aa amazing amount of knowledge regarding mining in the Owens valley. From him we learned about the Tungsten mine up Pine creek behind Mt Tom. Beautiful hikes from the trailhead.

What a wonderful museum! Indoor and outdoor exhibits on eleven acres! Not solely restricted to railroad nostalgia, it has mines, printshop, doctor's office, post office exhibits. There's more to see here than you first expect. There's no entry charge, but a $10 donation is looked upon with approval

Giant perfectly preserved train depot, combined with a western movie set, with room after room filled with incredible details from a bygone era. This place is so charming, interesting and you can even climb up into the train and ring the bell. I guarantee this place will surprise you and is well worth the 10$ recommended donation. Give more if you can-let’s keep this place alive another 100 years.

Very well maintained little historical railroad museum that feels more like an old western historical town featuring a lot of equipment from the late 1800s. If you are interested in gold mining demonstration, industrial ore breaking/extracting machine, you will be glad to see their equipment. Lots of historical displays: apothecary, blacksmith's house, library, miner's house, restored train station, doctor's office and more.

Stopped here after a nice hike. This museum is one of the best antique museums we've ever been to. All the exhibits were amazing, informative, and full of history! All the workers were really nice and helpful. We were fortunate enough for a worker to show us how the mining mill works. He turned it on and everything. He showed us multiple minerals and ores. He even gave my daughter a piece of Obsidian. I would definitely recommend this museum for all visiting Bishop!

Really nice place to visit. The entrance is $10, but it is a donation. The money goes to keep up the place. Perfect place to learn railroad history in California. Perfect for families to visit. There are benches around, I suggest bringing food and refreshments and have a nice picnic with the visit as well
Mountains surround this scenic lake known for its turquoise water, trout fishing & storied past.

Beautiful lake, it's one of the most accessible lakes in the Mammoth area since you can drive right up to it. I recommend walking on the trail that wraps around the lake, it's pretty flat. Decent amount of parking here, but most of the spots do get filled.

No matter what time of day you come, the view is always beautiful. Trail is open but for safety, take the North shore trailhead and avoid the Fisherman’s trail since it’s an avalanche prone area (as one local informed). There is a porta-potty near the marina or a restroom and showers at the resort. The marina is closed for the season.

Love this lake, I’m here every time I’m in Mammoth. Easy hike around the lake. One part of the lake is on a slope so you might need snow shoes or spikes to get around it. If it’s fresh snow, it’s deep on the one section.

It's hard to describe the utter clarity of this place. The air is clear, the water is ipecably clear, the view of Mount Laurel positioned over the water is clear, so much freshness here one kind of wishes it had a different name. We visited in mid September, almost exactly 151 years since the 30 convicts traveled 139 miles to get to this refreshing spot, after robbing a train of $41,000, stealing guns, and killing an 18 year old Postal worker on his first ride. After a shoot out at the lake most were captured and killed and hence the name. If you take the beautiful trail around the lake you start to realize the only real way out is over the mountains, and that's not a climb for the faint of heart. This truly is an amazing spot. Photographing the water reflecting the mountain, the two are indistinguishable.
