Mount Rainier National Park is a picturesque wilderness covering an area of 263,000 acres around Washington's highest peak. It boasts of wildflower meadows and glaciers that add to its breathtaking beauty. This national park is a must-visit destination for nature lovers who wish to admire the stunning views and hike the surrounding area. The magnificent landscape offers incredible photo opportunities, but it's hard to capture the full splendor in pictures alone.
Seriously!!! Wow!!! Such an amazing national park. This was our first trip to Washington state and we loved it! My wife and I hiked the silver falls trail. Unfortunately the park was closed for the winter, but we were still able to hike into the park. We will definitely be returning in the summer to enjoy the entire national park

Mt Rainier is absolutely gorgeous! It is a must visit on my list! The hiking trails by the visitor center are stunning. The drive up is also beautiful with waterfalls along it. It felt so magical being up in the clouds! I went in July and there was still snow on the trails but it made the hike more fun!
Sadie Collier — Google review
Wow this park was incredible. Views are amazing-even from the road! There were so many different hikes (our favorite was skyline trail at paradise) and you could even find hikes that were family friendly. Make sure to add this park to your bucket list. Be aware, there’s no gas stations in the park but they do have some just outside so plan accordingly.

Unbelievably beautiful! The views were amazing from all the hiking spots around Sunshine. Sourdough ridge and a few other shorter trails had great vistas, although there was too much smoke to see the peak of Mt. Rainier the day I was there.
I was thankful I had some extra layers with me, as it was very cold. It peaked at about 40F in the afternoon, despite being August. So for newbies, bring a hat and an extra jacket!
The rangers there in the morning gave fantastic tips for all the trails (and some spots to sit and sketch while avoiding damaging the delicate wildlife), and the gift shop was warm and lovely after my brisk hikes.

One of my favorite national parks. Got to visit in the fall. Our hike up was consumed by foggy mist, on the way down it cleared up though so we got to take in some of the views. A must go place!

Easily one of the most breathtaking U.S. national parks! Mount Rainier is a sight to see at least once in your life. This park is split into different sections due to the size and layout. We spent one day in Paradise and one day in Sunrise, with some stops in between. On a sunny day, you can see Mount Rainier from most places throughout the park. A cloudy day could definitely be a bummer. Unfortunately, our day in Sunrise was all cloud. There are a ton of amazing trails of various difficulties. Just do some research and pick your favorites! Be sure to get out there early so you’re not fighting for a parking spot. And try to go in the shoulder months, if possible. We opted for mid-September. Also, be mindful of the wildlife – the chipmunks will do anything for some of your food. One last thing… the elevation is a little high at points (I started feeling the effects while hiking the Skyline Trail) so just be sure to stay hydrated and take your time. I can’t wait to go back!

This is a gorgeous breathtaking national park that I had the opportunity to travel to back in 2019 and would love to go back. Every view seem to be more gorgeous than the first. I loved taking pictures here but they didn't do justice to the immense beauty. It's God country and would highly recommend going here if you hare ever in the area or just make a trip here to see it and hike the area.

20 stars!
Been here many times and it never gets old. Always something new. This time we went in June and there was still snow and ice out in places. Some roads were still closed at the top.
We wanted to see as much as possible and the waterfalls were on my list.
Wear good shoes/boots, take a camera and a jacket. Then just dive in and discover nature at its most beautiful. Literally every turn had something to offer.
I'll let the photos convince you :-)
Ps- pets NOT allowed. Wheelchair accessible mostly but not to good viewpoints.
Price is $30 per car or free if you have the Washington National Park Pass.
Angela Roy (Travel Tech) — Google review
Visited the South side of the National Park in a couple of hours, didn't have enough time to hike much, but saw a couple different waterfalls, used some restroom, and made it to the top of the MT.Rainer base at the Paradise Inn Lodge with a dinner hall, rock fireplaces, Grand Hall, little cafe, gift shop, and 123 rooms costing either $180 or $260 per night with incredible breathtaking views. Great place to getaway, get some fresh air, and go on an adventure with breathtaking views and hiking trails!

Beautiful park! Mount Rainier is a stunning volcano towering amongst the landscape. The winding road throughout the park is so fun to drive with lush greenery for that quintessential “Washington” vibe. The clouds cleared today to reveal a bright sunny sky with stunning views. This was my second time here and just as amazing as the first!
Alycia McDuff — Google review
It was so much better than I even expected. The easily accessible hikes are pretty easy and super beautiful. The drive up to paradise is stunning and I loved all the view points. The entrance fee was $30 for a normal sized car. The roads are of course full of curves so drive carefully.
Elsie D — Google review
I will be back when the snow melts. We went peak snow days when the snow was up all the way up to their second floor of the visitor center and all the roads after that were closed. But it was absolutely amazing. Coming from Georgia where it barely snows and even if it were to, they either don't stack or doesn't last longer than a day, it was so refreshing to see so much snow and the mountains themselves were beautiful.
There are native birds there too that will fly up really close to you. It was such a great experience.
Also, make sure you have snow chains ready because they will check at the gate during snow seasons.

Mount Rainier National Park is a place of breathtaking natural beauty and awe-inspiring magnificence. Located in the state of Washington, it is home to the iconic Mount Rainier, a towering stratovolcano that dominates the landscape and captivates visitors with its majestic presence.
Faris Al Orfali — Google review
One of the most scenic drives I’ve been on—I’ve been to most of the lower 48. This park is massive, not overly crowded and a nature photographers paradise. All times of day, all lighting, it just stands out like one giant masterpiece of snowy peaks and lush wooded passes. If you get the chance to go, do not hesitate.
Peter Templeton — Google review
STUNNING. This was one of my best days on my trip nor my life. I loved the climbing and site seeing in this park. this is one of the best parks in the US and my favorite by far, maybe almost as good as Yellowstone. The amazing views from this mountain are so amazing and the multiple areas to go off and explore for your self are just as good.
Kyle — Google review
Mount Rainier is spectacular, with all the gorgeous views for which you might hope. Paradise Visitor Center is very well done, with great information, a good film, and a handy base for the nearby day hike trails. The trails themselves are well kept and well marked. We encountered a ranger who was literally shoveling steps in the snow to make passing through easier.
Bret Fynewever — Google review
Easily one of my favorite national parks for the vertical hikes, wildflowers, and the meeting of rock and flowing water.
The paradise loop hike that goes through panoramic point is a top to hike two hike of all time for me (most pictures from there).
Fitness. . Move, You'll Get it — Google review
Breathtaking park. We went in the middle of October and the weather was perfect. Some of the roads were already closed, as well as some of the ranger stations. Overall a very good park.
Krystal Woda — Google review
Holy Moly that’s the most impressive mountain I have ever seen. Whether it’s from Seattle or the base in the park. The drive up to Paradise went through some impressive stands of forest on the way up to many scenic pullovers and waterfalls. I had limited time and chose to hike up the Skyline trail from the visitor Center. Three of my favourite things in the natural world, an impressive mountain, glaciers, and waterfalls. All in one breathtaking view. The trail up was paved but steep. Amazing views in all directions. A gem in the National Park system.
Ron Hebert — Google review
I absolutely love hiking at Mount Rainier National Park. I grew up in Washington, and seeing the mountain in the distance. It is such a majestic place. I moved to Arizona and miss seeing and exploring the mountain.
Chris Knight — Google review
Beautiful park that is a two hour drive ish from Seattle. Be sure to get there early because there will be huge line of people trying to get in. We got there around 9 and it took over an hour to get to the gate. There also might be people along the line trying to sell you some cherries. Place is beautiful but when going in the summer it will be crowded at all the easy to access place which might be a turn off for some. Lots of wildlife to see as you pass by which is really fun
Kelly Low — Google review
Breathtaking! Lots of trails with different difficulties. Very easy to drive around during spring and summer. I went for a picnic but you cannot sit at most sites and eat, so I found a remote spot and had a picnic in my trunk
Huma Farooq — Google review
The mountain was amazing. I went in early August, and it was great. It's a very popular national park, so expect a lot of people, but not very many parking spots. The visitor centers are quite crowded, and the food isn't that great, to be completely honest. The views were nice, and it wasn't that difficult of a hike to get up to the scenic areas. The animals are quite used to people and will approach you regardless of whether you have food or not. But remember to not feed them, because they will start depending on people for their food, rather than naturally scavenging it. If you see any small rock cairns near the river, knock them over, as they are unnatural to the environment. It's fine to build them, just make sure to knock it over after.
DaBaby — Google review
Absolutely amazing! My only regret is that I didn’t have more time. Hiking was incredible and unforgettable.

Must visit places in your lifetime. I couldn't believe my eyes were watching that scenic beauty. The mount rainier is so huge. It was looking so beautiful covered in snow.

A very beautiful park! Very nice views and fun trails. A couple cool waterfalls you can check out if you follow the right trails. I recommend snow shoes and hiking poles when it has snowed.

Leavenworth is a Bavarian-styled village in the Cascade Mountains, in central Washington State. Alpine-style buildings with restaurants serving German beer and food line Front Street. The Nutcracker Museum displays thousands of nutcrackers, some dating back centuries. On the Wenatchee River, Waterfront Park is a habitat for ospreys and eagles. The village is a gateway to nearby ski areas and wineries.

Best stops along Sequim to Spokane drive
The top stops along the way from Sequim to Spokane (with short detours) are Boeing Future of Flight, Snoqualmie Falls, and Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery. Other popular stops include Seattle Premium Outlets, Waterfront Park, and Bloedel Reserve.
The Bloedel Reserve is a sprawling nature preserve that spans 150 acres and boasts forests, landscaped gardens, and a reflection pool. Its well-designed walkways provide ample opportunity to appreciate the horticulture and design of the park. The park is particularly stunning in rainy weather, as the various shades of green stand out vividly. Visitors can tour the Bloedel residence, which includes bathrooms and an impressive art collection. A gift shop at the gatehouse offers further opportunities for exploration.
The trails are beautifully done. Easy to walk paths through fields, forest, and around ponds. So many different plants that look different every time I go. Many benches that invite you to stop and enjoy the view. I highly recommend you go every season to see the wonderful changes in the gardens and paths.

Nice place to catch fall colors, not so much for flowers, though. When I came on a weekend, there was not many people. I had the place with my friends.
Had to buy tickets ahead of time. They do not sell at the door. $20 per person.
When you get there, you have to stop at this sign, and the staff comes out and ask for your name to check against their printed list. My name wasn't on it since I bought my tickets 30 minutes ahead of time, but I did have a confirmation email.
You can spend as little as an hour or as much as three hours here. There are many paths. This is a nice nature/garden walk. Most of it was relatively flat . No mosquitoes despite many ponds.
Overall, it is a fairly well marked and nicely maintained trails.
The only animals I saw were ducks.
I found restrooms in the visitor center (entrance) and at the mansion. The visitor center is a gift shop that sells postcards, chocolate, and small snacks.
Lily Yee — Google review
Make sure to reserve your tickets. If you don’t they may act snooty and tell you to come back later after booking online. We were told it was sold out but then immediately booked tickets online. The property itself is gorgeous and well maintained. $22/person is a bit pricey for this experience but if you are visiting the island it’s a nice experience
amanda — Google review
Stunning public gardens that are definitely worth visiting. It was pretty much empty when we came on the weekend. It takes about 2 hours to slowly stroll through all the different gardens.
The property itself is also stunning and has a room dedicated to the history of the house.
I’ve seen several reviews suggesting picnicking on the lawns, but for what it’s worth the website says that’s not allowed.
Pooja Chaudhary — Google review
Beautiful park. The walkways don't take too long but give yourself plenty of time to take in all the aspects of horticulture and design.
The park is most beautiful in the rain, I think, as all the different shades of green really stand out.
The Bloedel residence has bathrooms, an art collection and there is a great gift shop at the gatehouse. Worth a visit.
April Allen — Google review
We loved our experience here. The grounds and house were absolutely stunning. The staff did an excellent job making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. 5 out of 5!
Ric Martinez — Google review
The park and the trails are well maintained, but be aware that trails are not stroller friendly.
My favorite parts were the reflection pond and Japanese garden.
But I was left with a bad experience by turning us back at the gate for having my small dog in the car. We were asked to park the car outside the property and walk in. I understand the reason for not allowing any pets in the park, but not letting them be in the car in the parking lot felt heavy-handed (gave me colonial vibes).
V MC — Google review
The Bloedel Reserve is amazing! Its incomparable beauty will leave you with a lasting impression. From the natural, open entry to the Reflection Pool, and through the moss garden, you'll want to be immersed all day in these spaces. Take your time. Enjoy the serenity of its many water features and the tranquility of the Japanese garden. I love this place and highly recommend a visit if you're going to be on Bainbridge Island. I visited on 3/9/24. It was a rainy day but still an amazing visit!

Gorgeous place! Absolutely worth admission.
From moss gardens to Japanese gardens to open meadows, there's plenty to enjoy.
The spring blooms were lovely.
Several benches throughout the property.
Clear trails and maps provided at the entrance.
Restrooms available at the gatehouse.
Stephanie Simpers — Google review
I'm not necessarily a huge hiking outdoorsy person, by native PNW standards. Love a beach and a nice day in the sun but I would rather see some art than go to a park. Context to say, if you visit Bainbridge Island this is a MUST DO. Easy walk. Relatively flat 2 miles of just stunning sensory experience for the spring and summer. The most memorable parts were the wild flower grassland—the whole place smelled like honey, I wish they sold it! + the Japanese house and mansion.
Would return. Great way to spend 3 hours or so on a day trip then go have dinner or get on the water. Very memorable vs just going shopping or something. Worth your time.
Jamie C — Google review
A beautiful, calm and relaxing environment. Lots of paths leading to interesting pockets of plants, colors, little bridges, cleverly thought out walkways - it's fabulous. And a real treat to see a doe and her fawns. A great way to spend a couple of hours or more.
Tricia Collins — Google review
Beautiful grounds! We had to reserve tickets online. Once we got there, we loved the short stroll! The map was a little confusing to us, but it wasn’t hard to just enjoy the view! I had two teen kids with us and 6 adults and we all enjoyed it! Some of the ponds had really cool tree frogs too!
Katrina Roxas — Google review
Gorgeous reserve! Ticketing was a bit confusing since we didn't plan to go here but passed by and the sign said we needed tickets booked online. However data is a bit slow in the area and they are aware, so you can go into the toll booth/gate and ask for/get a plastic card with wifi password on it, park inside temporarily, buy tickets online, then return the card to the toll booth then explore the reserve!
I wish I took more photos but at the same time it was so beautiful there that we were completely immersed in the experience for the most part. Very beautiful park and views, extremely well maintained!
Cindy Fu — Google review
Bloedel Reserve is magical. Gorgeous views, secluded, peaceful, and full of lovely local history. An easy walk throughout but lots of variance in views and scenery. So many beautiful ponds, trees and flowers. We bought a year membership after our first visit because it is definitely a place we will visit multiple times in the year and get our money's work. I can't wait to come back again in the winter and then again in the spring. Definitely going to be bringing a picnic next time.
Jessa Edens — Google review
Gorgeous reserve. Exceptionally beautiful during autumn to see color changes of foliage. A bit of wildlife can be observed while walking the grounds. Buy tickets before hand. You must arrive writing a certain time frame or else you’ll have to wait until you window is nearer to enter the reserve. A fair amount of walking but easy to do and lots odd places to stop, rest, take in the scenery. Many different areas to enjoy within the reserve. The Bloedel home is open to view their living spaces inside. Helpful staff inside the house to answer questions. A gift shop is located at the entrance with unique jewelry, crafts, dishwater, books, blankets, and more. Restrooms also available at the entrance and inside the home. A wonderful way to spend a morning or afternoon.

This garden is beautiful in the fall. A nice walk to see a house like Pemberly with a variety of gardens but my favorite is the Japanese garden. There's an overlook of the Sound. Nice little shop with art, jewelry, gloves and umbrellas in case you forgot.
Be aware: they close at 4 but won't let anyone in after 2:30. So don't be late!!! We came late and had to beg based on the drive time to get there for mercy. They were kind enough to agree, but you could tell they didn't really want to and were just too polite to argue.
We were able to walk most of it in about 45 minutes, but if you do want to linger and see the whole thing it will probably take you about an hour and a half to do it justice.
I'd like to come back in spring to see the flowers bloom here too.
Kefi Andersen — Google review
Such a beautiful walk. And my grandma was able to do the walk and she recovered from a broken hip so it’s not too difficult while still being beautiful.
Anna Girardeau — Google review
We came on a Friday afternoon so it was very easy to get in, but reservations are recommended on the weekend. This is a beautiful place with lots of history, give yourself a couple of hours to walk through and learn about the Bloedel family and their dedication to nature preservation. The tour is self guided and there is minimal signage, which is intentional. Enjoy the grounds!

The Bainbridge Island Museum of Art is a privately owned museum that offers rotating exhibits with a special focus on works by local artists. The museum features two floors of exhibition space, a cafe at the back, and a gift shop on the ground floor with lovely gift options for visitors. One exhibit showcased the internment experience of Japanese residents during WWII and was well received. Another exhibit featured the Heroes collection by Cory Bennett Anderson that covered the entire first floor.
A free private museum that only asks for donations on entry. There is a cafe at the rear and two floors of exhibition space. When I went they had an exhibition on Japanese residents experience being interned during WWII which was very well done. There is also a shop on the ground floor with some nice gift options. Definitely worth a visit to the museum.

I LOVE coming here. It's free admission, but they take donations via cash or card. They always have different local artists displaying their work, and all of their work has been phenomenal. The work they display is emotionally impacting and even though it's a small museum, the work they display is intriguing enough to where I've spent a good amount of time reading about their work. The people that work at the museum have a lot of knowledge about the artists as well, which is great since they helped provide insight on the artists' work.

The Bainbridge Island Museum of Art is a must-see for art lovers and curious visitors alike. The museum houses a diverse collection of contemporary art from both local and international artists, including paintings, sculptures, photographs, and mixed media works. The exhibits are carefully curated, and each piece tells a distinct story that both inspires and captivates the viewer. With its sleek and modern design, the museum building itself is a work of art. The spacious galleries and natural lighting provide a relaxing and enjoyable viewing experience. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about art, and they offer excellent advice and insight into the exhibits.
One of the museum's highlights is its dedication to showcasing the work of emerging artists. The museum is dedicated to supporting and promoting the next generation of artists, and its rotating exhibitions ensure that there is always something new and exciting to see.
The Bainbridge Island Museum of Art is a hidden gem that provides an unforgettable art experience. This museum is well worth a visit, whether you are a seasoned art lover or a curious beginner.

If you are visiting Bainbridge, drop by this museum. It's free to visit and it's quiet. There's interesting indigenous art. One of the curators demonstrated the movement of the masks for us. There is modern and pop art, which gives you a range of styles to enjoy.

EXCELLENT ATTRACTION TUCKED AWAY ON AN ISLAND
I was only going to take the ferry from Seattle and back again, but thought I'd not waste the trip and spend the time between ferries wandering around Bainbridge Island. My first stop, after walking up from the ferry, was this place. It's perfectly located to catch your attention, then having free/donation entry meant that frugal me had to pop in and have a look.
I'm glad I did. It's an eclectic mix in a beautiful building and the gift shop is worth a browse.

What a magical place! I am visiting Seattle from NYC on a budget, and this was one of my favorite activities. As a free/donation-based museum, I was pleasantly surprised by the vast, wonderful, and diverse collection of local artists. There are lots of beautiful and thought-provoking pieces of different mediums that take you on a range of thought + sensory journeys as you wander through. I particularly loved the art commenting on the effect we’ve had on nature and our connection with it. The book-making room was also very cool and unique, I spent so much time in there trying to read each intricate little piece! The museum is very well kept with nice bathrooms and great staff. There is also a lovely rooftop garden to soak up the sun. I am looking forward to coming back on my next trip to the PNW!

Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA) has fabulous exhibits that are free to the public. They also have an auditorium that you can book for events. Our bicycle advocacy nonprofit, Squeaky Wheels, recently hosted an author event w/ Seattle Bike Blogger, Tom Fucoloro and his new book Biking Uphill In The Rain. Cole, our BIMA rep, had everything ready and took care of everything we needed. The event ran seamlessly.

The Boeing Future of Flight museum is dedicated to the history and future of aviation. Visitors can explore exhibits covering the history of aviation as well as tours of the commercial jet assembly plant. The museum also has a few fun things to do and see, making it a great place for all ages to learn and explore. The shop is excellent, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. However, the factory tour is currently closed due to Covid-19.
Was very excited to hear that tours were back! Took a friend visiting from California on the 10:30 tour. Christopher was our great storyteller guide. I've done the tour in the past many years ago on weekends, so it was interesting to see it during the weekday. You can't bring any phones or cameras on the tour. They have free lockers to stow your purses, backpacks, phones, or food. I bought my ticket ahead online the day before we visited.

Small but entertaining for a quicker outing. A few fun things to do and see, great place to learn and explore for all ages. Great shop and really excellent, knowledgeable and helpful staff. The robot exhibit was really fun and flying bird simulator was great. I loved flying a drone.

Despite the factory tour being closed, the backstage pass film is a good way to find out more about the history and operations at this site. It's no substitute for a real tour though! There was a Q&A session at the end which was a good opportunity to ask questions, although some of the answers given weren't very informative.
The museum and viewing deck are good, so this is a good way to spend a few hours just half an hour outside Seattle.
Rohan Muralee — Google review
Went on a Monday afternoon and spent about an hour and half there. Thought it would have a lot more things to look at but there were no factory tours available and some of the exhibits were still under renovation. Staff at the drone pilot and AI stations were very friendly and pleasant. Those interactive stations were pretty cool. The price was cheap ($6).
Worth a visit if you are in the area and you have a couple hours but definitely not a destination like the Museum of Flight. The gift shop was my favourite part of my visit.

My expectation is to have Boeing factory tour which inspired me long time ago to see how to assemble the big plane. Unfortunately it’s closed due to Covid-19. Spent one hour in future of flight which is so interesting.

I was impressed with the variety, quality and engagement of their exhibits. My 9 and 11-year old girls had a blast. Mini robots that do tricks following lines drawn on paper, a drone flying cage, fly a flock of birds onscreen with body motions, eliminate space junk with a computer game, look at mini drones the size of a fly, make up to 6 ping pong balls float mid-air on tiny streams of air, design your own plane by picking features then flying it in a cockpit to see how well it flies (simple enough for 5-year old to enjoy). We probably missed 5 or more exhibits because we ran out of time! Very inexpensive for the hours of enjoyment. Highly recommended!

This is a good place for young and old, not a whole lot to see, we were there about an hour. But it was interesting. Drones (in a cage) and simple motorized cubes that you can draw a path for them to follow, great for kids. We enjoyed the visit, I know there are bigger museums but for a quick “something to do” that’s not too expensive… it was perfect. Just know to keep your expectations low on the quantity of airplanes. There were several coming soon exhibit so it’s looking to expand.

I love this place!
Good news after pandemic they re open tour! It is 45 minutes and you can observe how they make parts of aircraft.
The exhibition is not that big, I wish they make more interactive knowledge share.
Overall, I had a good experience.

Wow! Beautiful modern clean gallery Museum. I also go lunch to be the first group of for the new factory tour! Peter was a fantastic tour guide and had all the information memorized to educate 27 of us in a theater presentation, then bus tour into the factory where these amazing Boeing planes are assembled!
Awesome gift shop to! And sky deck where you can see the planes landing as well.
John Otto K — Google review
Interesting tour but doesn’t get you on the ground floor and up close to the operations to better experience the equipment, parts, processes and aircraft. All observations are from the transport bus or observation decks high above the workplace. Glad I saw it but somewhat disappointed in the distant viewing. Entrance fee a bit pricey for the overall experience. Tour guide and other staff were great!

I was surprised at how informative and interesting this tour was (in that the factory tours are currently closed).
The building has many exhibits including hands-on (mostly for youth). There is a drone area that you can practice flying.
You also have access to a roof top, which provides excellent views of Paine Field and has a radio broadcasting the tower traffic.
The best part for us was the one hour presentation, which was hosted by staff . You could ask questions and interact about the history and the assembly process. It's not like the actual factory tour, but it's still very informative.

Great for kids and adults alike! If you love planes, you will love this experience. I went during the pandemic, so missed the factory tour. Can't wait to go back!

It was a good tour; could have been better. Although I understand that there are data privacy concerns and that’s why everything is viewable from a distance. I was hoping for more walk around experience rather than just sitting in a bus or watching from a balcony. Still a great place to take your children and let them enjoy the sheer size of the facility.

Was lucky enough to get tickets for this tour that I’d wanted to do for ages!
If you’re a AV geek this place is a must & even if you’re not it’s still very interesting.
Our guide was great & very informative & the whole tour is very well put together & the whole scale of this place is massive.
Book in advance as you can’t just rock up & the whole tour takes about 1 hour 30 minutes I’d say & then you get to walk around the awesome merchandise shop & exhibits & if you purchase the access the viewing gallery too, we got lucky as there was a Dreamlifter there & we saw it departing too

I had a tour and it was very impressive. I booked it online 2 weeks before my visit. The tour is around 90 minutes. I entered the hangar area and visited the assembly line where I saw many planes in production, including two Air Force KC-31s being refueled. Our tour guide was very helpful and friendly. Backpacks, cameras, phones, food, and drinks were not permitted during the tour, but there were free lockers at the entrance. There were no restrooms during the tour, so it's important to hydrate and use the restroom beforehand. The is a sky deck and gallery next to the lobby, you can take pictures of the planes from distance on the deck.
Sheldon J Plankton — Google review
The place is nice overall, the exhibition is nice and that's it, there aren't too many things on display.
The observation deck is impressive providing a breathtaking view of the airport and the mountain ranges surrounding the area.
The tour is fine and nothing more, we were disappointed by the tour and expected much more.
The tour is Including a view of the factory from two high points (observation balconies inside the factory overlooking the 2 parts of the factory) but there is no walking in the factory and there is no watching at what happens in the assembly process up close.
It does not provide the feeling one expects from a tour of the Boeing assembly factory.
I would like to point out that it is forbidden to take pictures during the tour.
Ravid Fathi — Google review
Drove 12 hours just for the Boeing tour and it was totally worth it! We had a great time. Even just plane spotting across from the factory was enthralling. We saw an Antonov our first morning there along with all the amazing Boeing planes. I would also love to see a more in depth tour option. The store is fantastic! Lots of selection and the prices were great.
Amy M — Google review
So you can’t take your phone on the tour so the pictures are just of the sky deck that you get access to with a tour ticket. The tour its self is okay, it’s more of a just a bus ride around the Boeing facility with a stop in the production facility. Once on there assembly line you get an elevator onto an observation deck and can look over the 777F assembly line. The tour is not particularly detailed but if you are interested in seeing jets it is a must.

Great insight into the workings of a plane assembly plant! Worth it! Although the price doesn’t justify the length of your and our inability to carry phones for selfies at least! From the viewing terrace you can take some good pictures!
The Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum, located in a restored hangar, features an impressive collection of military aircraft and weapons from the years 1935 to 1945. The museum boasts top-notch facilities and showcases vintage aeroplanes in excellent condition. Its staff are highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the exhibits on display. It is undoubtedly one of the world's premier collections of significant military equipment, providing a vital legacy for future generations to appreciate.
My favorite aviation museum in the whole world! I met a docent named Arthur Unruh there, who was the most friendly and inspiring man I have ever met! It's just so powerful to see these WW2 planes up and close and personal! Not to mention also getting to see them fly in the air for free! This place is like a second home to me 😌

If you have the chance to visit this museum, I highly recommend it. took my family to the fly days and other events (Wine night and Tanktober-fest). I live down the road from this place and took it for granted, then the pandemic hit and closed it for 3 years. Then with new ownership, I thought this impressive collection was lost to the area. But it remains for the time being. Visit and appreciate the awesome collection. Hopefully they continue to do demonstrations whether it's the tanks or planes.

As a huge Battlefield and World War II fan, I couldn't believe I could get up close and personal with all my favorite WWII vehicles somewhere on Earth. I only planned a 2-hour visit to this museum, but I was so wrong. You could easily spend a whole day here. What's even more amazing is that all the vehicles here are actually operational.
You guys are doing a fantastic job!

This place is absolutely awesome the facilities are five-star and the quality of the vintage aeroplanes is the best I have ever seen in the whole world. They have pretty much every single significant military aircraft and weapon on display in pristine condition. The staff are incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable not to mention enthusiastic about the place. What a legacy to leave behind for the general public.

I went to the grand reopening of this amazing museum. You get to wander 3 hangars of pure wonder and history. I had an amazing day returning after 3 long years away, they have three opportunities to watch demonstrations of their tanks. I highly recommend going here to support them!

Great museum with some planes that are the last of their kind. Most of the planes and tanks are fully operational. I was told that in the past, and hopefully in the future, some of these planes and tanks are flown/driven in demonstrations on holidays, including firing the tanks (with blanks). There is an interactive educational section as well. The docents were friendly and helpful with a decent amount of knowledge.

Definitely a must visit place if you are looking for historical artifacts around WWII. Beautifully preserved and restored armored tanks and airplanes from the Wars. The best part though are the volunteers who work as guides here. All of them have some family involvement with the heritage and their level of knowledge is impressive.
Couple this trip with the Boeing - Flight of Future (right around the corner) and you have a fantastic field day lined up for family and friends.

This is the most wonderful place to be for a history nerd, everyone is so nice and willing to answer your questions about pretty much anything. To top it all off the fact that everything works is just amazing. I love going to see the P-47 and watch her flying. Thank you to this wonderful place for creating so many memories and keeping me facinated :D
CASEY OLDHAM — Google review
What an amazing day. I was expecting a couple of hangers with a few restored war birds. Boy, was I wrong! They actually have more ground vehicles than aircraft now (mostly tanks), but this takes nothing from the aviation and historical information. The theater, and interactive history of war (touch screens, audio-visual presentations, etc) is amazingly well done, and the pictorial timelines meticulously laid out on the walls are visually stimulating and educational. I was surprised at some of the artifacts that were on display, but you should just see for yourself!
The highlights of my visit were the stories behind some of the aircraft and the associated people, as shared by Rick. His passion for the history of both the aircraft and the museum made for a very special day. I got to learn a lot about the back stories of the aircraft, as well as the people associated with them. I will definitely be making the trip back to be there for an upcoming flight day! Thanks again to Rick for the outstanding tour!!

The best collection of WW II warbirds that I've seen since Planes of Fame in Chino. Meticulously restored, airworthy historical planes. The ground combat vehicles were nice to see, but I came to see the planes. Only gripe is having to endure inappropriately loud visitors that pushed me aside & talked about things unrelated to the museum.

Wow what a great way to spend a few hours. It's a great mix of planes--a mind-blowing number of which still fly--and vehicles. The displays are well-described on plaques and banners. And there are several roving volunteers to answer questions. We had great conversations with David who knew his stuff and was the friendliest guy we met all week. Highly recommended. Be sure to look through the fence at the new green Boeings and the military ramp.

Amazing museum. The planes are well preserved and the majority in flight condition. There is one Junkers Stuka in restoration being exhibited. In the entrance, you can see an amazing B-25. In front of it, there is an English de Havilland Mosquito bomber. All aircraft are well preserved. The nice thing about this museum is that the voluntary guides are crazy about airplanes (like me). It totally worth spending the day visiting and talking with the guides.

Awesome place to visit to teach the family about military equipment. Great learning experience for anyone interested in mechanics and aviation. WWII is the main inventory. They do have some stuff predating WWII and other vehicles from Vietnam. Very good variety of armor and planes. They even have a working me262! It's worth the price of admission. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The gift shop has a lot of variety. They will hopefully start doing live demonstrations soon.
The Burke-Gilman Trail, a converted railway corridor that stretches over 20 miles through parklands and residential areas, is a versatile multi-use pathway. This pedestrian thoroughfare stands out among interurban routes in various states due to its superior quality. While Portland boasts longer trails, they do not match the excellence of the Burke-Gilman Trail.
Goes a lot of great places! Well-traveled and has some beautiful views.

The segment from Kenmore to Matthews beach is good for walking, running, or biking, as it's flat with minimal crossing streets. The views could be better (it's mostly people's backyards on this segment, to be honest), but it's still a good place for a long walk/ride/run. The trail supports about 3-4 people across, and traffic gets a little high on weekends, so if you go, be sure and mind your trail manners:
Bikers - The speed limit is 15 mph and you have to yield to pedestrians. It is not uncommon to get buzzed by packs of road cyclists going way over 15.
Runners - Stay to the right, even if the unofficial dirt path you want to run in is on the other side of the trail. I often see people running 2 wide on the left side just so 1 of them can be on the dirt and it creates lots of problems.
Walkers - You have ultimate ROW, but please don't abuse it. If you want to stop and chat, move to the side so others can pass.
Dog Walkers - Keep your pets close to you and on the right side of the trail if possible. I see near-collisions with dogs almost every time I go out. And please don't hang poop bags on fences.
Brad Berger — Google review
Not a bad walk. Would be better if you had better views of the water and less traffic noise in parts but overall is an ok walk. May be better to cycle than walk to get to other parts of the trail faster.

This “trail” , pedestrian byway is the best interurban route I’ve seen in any state. Portland, Oregon also has some that have longer duration but that are far lower quality. As a basic commuter on foot, or runner or even a person an a cane. If you are looking for a cozy urban woodland feel or a way to avoid traffic as a cyclist, it’s unbeatable in all ways. IT HAS NO LIGHTING after dark so beware to time your trips appropriately or bring the right gear. Bicycle times for trip are almost completely inaccurate. So plan added time for those commutes.

The Kubota Garden is a magnificent 20-acre Japanese-style garden that originated in 1927. Its creator, Fujitaro Kubota, was a self-taught expert in landscaping who skillfully combined traditional Japanese techniques with native plants from the Pacific Northwest. Situated in South Seattle's Rainier Beach neighborhood, this stunning park features hills, valleys, streams, waterfalls, ponds, and rocky formations.
Beautiful gardens with many paths. We went in April and the flowers were blooming. We even got to see a turtle sunning itself! The park was moderately busy with people of all ages enjoying the sights. I really liked the arrangements of rocks around the various waterways. A few spots were a little crowded with people taking pictures, but that's not too uncommon in places like this. I recommend it for a family walk, a romantic stroll, or a peaceful visit alone.

a fabulous garden - really feels like a hidden gem. a peaceful retreat from the loudness of life, there are plenty of little nooks you can find to take a seat and just observe. free to visit, free to park! several picnic tables available as well as various benches hidden throughout for a quiet place to rest. I thought I wouldn't be able to find a restroom beyond the porta potties near the entrance, but I was relieved to see a fully functioning public restroom located closer to the exit.

Great for a midday stroll, but with some mild parking challenges. It's a fancy little Japanese foliage garden with a good selection of plant species.
The garden is on a big slope and there are lots of layers in the foliage. The tall trees surround you with 360 degrees of quiet nature.
I would have appreciated some plaques or pamphlets to learn about the different plants and sculptures, and their cultural significance.

So many trails, so many "rooms", so many passages... so many different experiences possible. I think you could come here a dozen times and have a unique experience each time. Amazing that it's free. This is a pretty Japanese-ish garden nestled in a quiet neighborhood. I visited in Jan on a moody day.
The little ponds with the Koi fish, small waterfalls and winding trails are a nice getaway for a few! I expect that the gardens look better in Spring, Summer and Fall! 😊 It is not a traditional Japanese Garden, but incorporates many of the features.
The entrance is free. Most people we came across wore a mask. The parking is limited. And there are many signs saying car break-ins are a regular thing. So, don’t leave valuables in the car!!

While I admittedly wasn't getting the Japanese feel this garden is supposed to have, it's still a very beautiful garden that you should stop at if you have the time. There are pamphlets up front to guide you through everything there is to see. If you stop to see everything, this could take up to an hour depending on how to get to the various scenic spots. Overall, it's worth a stop if it's convenient, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to see it.

Kubota Gardens in summer is a symphony of greens. From verdant light filtering though tall maple leaves, to the dizzying array of both carefully manicured and riotous evergreen specimens, this garden in summer offers peace as well as delight. Each season here is guaranteed to offer new delights.

This was a great place to walk around and enjoy nature. The garden is beautiful and open to the public for free. There was a small parking lot (but there were open spots). I did note that there was broken glass so I suspect it’s best to leave valuables out of sight. There are public restrooms but they are currently closed for renovations. The fall colors are still vibrant. It was very peaceful and picturesque. There are no play structures but many fun places to walk and plenty to see if you are mindful.

This is an overlooked gem in Rainier View . A small but jewel-like park with a scrupulously maintained Japanese garden covering approximately 15 acres. While it looks small the artfully arranged paths allow one to walk through a series of small and large scenes and vignettes.
We visited on a sunny-ish day in the dead of winter yet because of the preponderance of evergreen plants there is no penalty for the season.
Parking is easy but the lot is not large though the few visitors made this a non issue.
This is a great place to visit, wander, sit and just enjoy a superb little park.

One of the prettiest parks I have been too & there are so many meandering walking paths - it's perfect for a long walk and having some quality conversations!! What I also loved that it's one of the few Japanese gardens that stays open till 8pm!! Perfect to chill after a long work day. This is also perfect for some photo-ops in any season - the tall pine trees, moonbridges, koi ponds and overall landscape make it seem picturesque & remote - whether it's spring, rain or show! Journeys East, located within the Tulalip Resort and Casino in Marysville, is a vibrant restaurant offering a diverse menu of Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese cuisine. Guests can indulge in an array of delicacies from different Asian cultures while enjoying a selection of cocktails and wines. The exceptional service provided by the friendly staff adds to the overall dining experience.
First stay at Tulalip Casino. We had ordered sushi here as well, but the service and food with drinks was phenomenal. The chicken karaage on the appetizers menu section was to die for (ask for extra lemon to drizzle, truly makes a difference). We, husband and I, had just sat at the bar outside the main restaurant but still had an amazing experience. If you are at the casino hit this place up!

Been here many times but first time writing a review of this restaurant. Probably everyone knows this is a very popular place. The food is absolutely great. What happened Journeys East?
Used to be my favorite Asian restaurant in the North end, with contemporary dessert options.
Steamed halibut. Should be renamed to "Microwave" fish. Seriously the halibut stuck to the plate, and it looked and tasted microwave, and just added the yet simple sauce but mediocre. Not worth $30 for this dish!
Green curry with chicken. Curry broth and chicken is spot on, but I didn't realize there would be so many cucumbers and less chicken.
Spicy wontons. Just wontons and chili oil. Probably the only redeeming dish.
Service was okay. Waitress was nice but lack a bit of attention, as we had to flag her down for additional orders.
Overall, if you're out trying to make your luck and crave Asian meal, stick to the lower cost typical items, you should be fine.
It used to have taste/quality of a good restaurant now more of cafeteria quality.

I have been dining at this restaurant since it opened. Before COVID I dined here at least once a week. Several of the servers are familiar with my order and have always provided excellent service. However, after negative experiences on my last two visits I don’t plan on coming back.
On my previous visit the expeditor, Loralei, was in a rush. She kept trying to bring dishes to our table that we did not order. When she finally did bring the dish we were waiting for she slammed it down on the table. Hard enough that I was afraid the momentum would take it off of the table.
We spoke to the manager, Shannon, she apologized and said she would speak to Loralei. She did admit to setting dishes down roughly. We were assured she would receive more training and that she was a good worker that was simply trying too hard to be quick. As our previous experiences had always been positive we felt the matter was resolved.
This evening was about a month after the first incident. I came in with my husband and a friend. We placed our food and drink order with the server and everything seemed fine.
Loralei was the expediter again. At Journey’s the food comes out as it is made. Consequently, someone always ends up waiting for their food. We are used to this system.
Loralei brought my dish. I said it was mine and she set it front of my friend. She corrected herself, but slammed the bowl of pho down. At that point I thought she may have had an issue with me because I had made a complaint about her. I tried to not think anything of it, but then a few other incidents made me think it was intentional.
My friend also ordered pho. I saw a bowl of soup in the window. I did not assume it was ours until I observed Loralei run other dishes that came out afterward. Our server then saw the soup in the window and brought it over. At this time we still had not received our appetizer and my husband was still waiting for fried rice. I let the server know there was an issue and he said he would look into it.
I observed three orders of fried rice go out before my husband received his. I know one of those tables was sat after ours. At this point I asked to speak to a manager.
Before we spoke to the manager Loralei brought my husband’s rice out. She said “Here is a serving spoon if you want to share”. As she said this she brazenly rolled her eyes.
When, Shannon, the manager came to the table (With an unknown man at her side. Did she find me threatening?) I explained that we had a negative experience with Loralei the last time we had dinner. As I was explaining this Loralei delivered our appetizer. I glanced in her direction and probably had an unpleasant expression on my face. Shannon said “Direct that towards me not her”. I can appreciate a manager that stands up for their staff, but not when a staff member is blatantly rude. I explained to Shannon that I cannot control my expressions when someone is being openly disrespectful. She said” Well, two wrongs don’t make a right”.
After that I felt the conversation was going nowhere. I asked for the Food and Beverage managers contact information and both their names.
Shannon said she was the manager of the restaurant. I again requested her managers information. She wrote the information on a card. According to LinkedIn she gave me the assistant managers name.
I lost my appetite and asked Shannon to take my plate and remove it from the bill. Which she did. It took sometime to pay our bill. She pulled our server aside and they both looked in our direction. I assume she felt the need to warn the server about us. We had no issues with our server, Ryan, he did a good job and did his best to help resolve an awkward situation. I will be reaching out to the Food and Beverage manager. I don’t plan on going back unless they hire a better expediter and a manager that can manage.

Had the veg plate with a side of sashimi. Good portions and the veg was still nice and crispy. Had to wait 40 minutes at 2 in the afternoon even though the restaurant was half empty.

We went there lunch after 11am, busy and we have to wait 30mins to be seated. Food is great our fave is Karaage, pad thai and almond shrimp. Service is good as well.

Journeys East inside Tulalip Casino in Marysville is an absolute gem! The food here is consistently amazing, and I can't get enough of their fantastic menu. I have my all-time favorites, but the diverse options always tempt me to try something new.
What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service. The servers are incredibly helpful and incredibly friendly, making every dining experience feel like a special occasion. It's a five-star destination for anyone who appreciates great food and top-notch hospitality.

The good - service was super fast and the salad roll was decent. The pho had puny sized beef and the pad Thai was super bland.definitely not worth the near $50 for all three dishes.

This restaurant is good. If you’re looking for sushi, they are not serving it right now. I was dissatisfied with the karaage but only because I have high expectations.
The staff was friendly though so it made up for the food. I recommend the honey walnut shrimp or the chicken chow Mein.

This restaurant is inside the casino.
The food was good, the portion is quite big. Service was good too, our server comes to us very often. It’s fusion restaurant, not that authentic Chinese/ Asian restaurant.
Most of our food taste good, only the fry odon was a bit under seasoned( or not like what I expected. ) It’s a bit dry to me.

This restaurant is located in the Tulalip Casino. The food and service was good, and the prices were affordable. The menu consist of various types of Oriental Cuisine. Be advised you may have a wait, so be sure to get on the waitlist or make a reservation.

Dining here tonight was good. Our waitress was on top of things. Food was very fast and fresh. I will be back. Wonton was okay. Rolls were delicious. Udon noodles were great. Honey walnut shrimp was fantastic. Can't wait to try some new dishes next time. Thought the portion on the shrimp could have been bigger as there were only 10 for $18 but by the time I was done I was full and happy.
Located in Tulalip, Washington, just six minutes north of Marysville, the Seattle Premium Outlets is a popular shopping destination in the Seattle metropolitan area. The outlet center offers a wide range of stores with discounted prices on well-known brands. Visitors can also find Gateway Shopping Center nearby, which features major retailers and easy access from the I-5 highway.
I absolutely LOVE outlet malls, as nearly everything has discounted prices. This one has a decent selection of name-brand stores, and a few premium ones in a figure-eight style loop.
There’s a food court and a Starbucks in the middle, and pretzel, and kettle corn stands scattered throughout.

A lot of people from BC to shop here and bring back to Canada to save on taxes and have more options. The is the strength of the US.
Many shops and pretty much what you need is here. Weekday afternoon, many shops is close for lunch for 30-60 minutes. Be aware of this so you don’t feel bad when the door is locked.

This is a great place to shop, especially during the holidays. It's best for clothing and shoes. It's also a great place for kids, plenty of food locations and spots to play. There is a parking lot and garage. Although it can be crowded on weekends, it always seems to have parking. Fun place to visit!

Great deals! Awesome shopping experience!
Edit- those who want to go via public transportation need to catch a bus from Bellevue transit center bay-4.
I recommend checking google for more details before planning. the bus takes around 2-3 hours depending on traffic. with a car, it's 35 - 45 minutes. However, I would suggest taking a cab.

Fun and inexpensive mall, has tons of discounted stores! And great brands as well . Parking lot is humongous but still gets very very packed and parking can be hard to find, especially on the weekends. Very clean atmosphere, tons of bathrooms, drinking fountains and water bottle refill stations. They also have some fun quarter machine rides for kiddos, as well as you can rent stroller car things. I wish they had more food options though, there's about 4-5 in the food court to choose from like Subway. I recommend getting off the 116th exit because the other exit gets extremely backed up. Beautiful holiday decorations.

Not anything special ...but common brands are all there..n prices as expected are lower than high street outlets...
Lots of discounts...
Eating facilities again of average grade...not many choices...
Rest rooms r good..
Ample parking facilities..
Far away from Seattle... wastes time from shopping..

This store owner said he is smart as a business owner and doesn’t care about the needs of clients. He refused to exchange any quarters back while our purchasing, and refused to help us toss the receipt as he will run his business at the ‘smartest’ way for his best interest.
We bought something over $8.XX and paid $10, and we barely asked for few quarters back. Then we got this attitude :)
Not a pleasant experience of visiting this place.

The outlet is large and has many brands.
Even though there are plenty of parking spaces, they are full on weekends. I spent 0.5 hours walking around and finally found a parking spot! In this case, I would suggest parking your car on the 2nd floor of the parking building, which is near the Levis store.

It’s an excellent place to buy your needs with a discount between 15-20%. You have to check their offers as they may provide extra discounts at different days of the year. But we can’t compare it with Portland outlet as no tax there. Parking is spacious but you need to come early to ensure a slot. Foods , they have food court and other small shops and food is okay.

Seattle Premium Outlets is my favorite place to shop in Tulalip. As a well known member of Tulalip Casino. I have come here on many occasions with my family and Daughters to shop here. This is one of the best places for that in the State of Washington. I have bought at stores like Nike, True Religion & Zumiez. Every store in Seattle Premium Outlets is worth Visiting. I highly recommend this place for all Families. Thank you for the Memories and and Bless the Tulalip Reservation!

06/24/23: the Outlet was great, with a variety of mediums and large branches. I believe the price is always 15-30% discount for clothes, shoes and other items. The parking is ample and the space is enormous. I love coming here to checkout on discount items and enjoy the outlet’s vibe. Also, the food court was good as well

Best to get there early (9-10am). Parking is easily accessible then. If you wait you'll miss out on finding something easy. Good to get your steps in. Seems to be a destination point for those who are coming from out of country. You'll see tour busses bring them in. Some deals to be had there.

We were there early morning and it was almost perfect. A little chilly, a fair amount of mosquitoes and only a handful of others. I wish we'd have had more time to spend there. The house and store were closed but it was quiet and peaceful. The flowers were beautiful as well as the grounds. It was free and the bathrooms were heated and very clean. What a blessing to have in the heart of the Bellevue area.

We went in the afternoon of a sunny day in April so the weather was perfect.
We enjoyed the walk in the garden. Many roses and flowers have not blossomed yet. Some plants has name tags and others has codes to scan and see in the website.
Unfortunately the coffee house closes early around two, while the place is available for later time. If you are coming in the afternoon bring your own drinks and snacks.

I recently visited the Bellevue Botanical Garden and was absolutely mesmerized by its natural beauty and serene ambiance. This hidden gem in Bellevue, Washington, is a must-visit for nature lovers and garden enthusiasts.
The garden boasts a wide variety of meticulously maintained gardens, each with its own unique charm. From the vibrant Perennial Border to the enchanting Yao Garden inspired by Japanese design, there's something for everyone to appreciate. The Native Discovery Garden was a personal favorite, showcasing the rich diversity of plants native to the Pacific Northwest.
I was impressed by the informative and friendly staff at the Visitor Center, who provided valuable insights and recommendations during my visit. The gift shop was stocked with a delightful selection of plants, books, and garden-related items that make for perfect gifts or souvenirs.
Whether you're looking for a peaceful escape from the city or seeking inspiration for your own garden, the Bellevue Botanical Garden is an oasis that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and inspired. It's a place where you can connect with nature, appreciate the beauty of plants, and enjoy moments of tranquility.
I highly recommend visiting the Bellevue Botanical Garden. It's a true gem that showcases the nature in a nutshell and provides an unforgettable experience.
Notable mention; Ravine Experience is something out of an anaconda movie, the wilderness and the whimsically adventurous bridge make the trail although mesmerizing.

Absolutely beautiful garden!! We went in January and most plants were dead but definitely going to be back when they're in full bloom, nonetheless still a great adventure! Nice walk, very peaceful, great for all ages, clean and serene. You could hear frogs and see hummingbirds, the bridge was really awesome as well! Free entry, and huge parking lot.

This is a super fun free activity to do. We went on a lightly rainy day admittedly during off season and I still enjoyed the gorgeous scenery. They had so many paths, ample signs, and clearly traversable paths as well. I can’t wait to visit in the warmer weather to see all the plants during full bloom.

Park is beautiful as it is bountiful, colorful as colorful gets (season permitting), and honestly you can't beat the price: FREE (± optional donation). Come once and again to meditate and marvel at what the garden has to offer with trails and features aplenty. If spring is in the air, be sure to bring your allergy meds.
Pick up a free map or scan for one to follow online. Kids can enjoy the activity sheet that includes a scavenger hunt. Adults can join too: "Find a flower, stem, or branch with the same number of petals or leaves as your age"...ok, maybe too difficult! Dogs aren't allowed although there is a nearby park (Wilburton Hill) where you can take your pooch. All the less to worry about what you might step in anyway.
The layout of the garden kind of reminds me of a statue of a Grecian goddess—like which you might see pouring water into a stream. To wit, starting from the Trillium gift shop, stroll along the top of the goddess' head (Rock Garden, Urban Meadow), onto the forehead (Perennial Border), face (Tateuchi Loop), bodice (Lost Meadow Trail, Ravine Bridge), neck (Native Discovery Garden), nape (Yao Garden), and curly coiffure (Shorts House, fuchsias, rhodies, waterfall).
Towards year-end, come back to see their spectacular Garden D'Lites nighttime extravaganza for a nominal fee. For about a month the garden is lit up at night with a gadzillion (give or take) Christmas lights, all meticulously constructed months in advance and designed to dazzle you away and tide you over to your next visit to this one of the city's best shared secrets.

This is a beautiful free garden. We could have stayed twice as long as we did. I think we were there a little over and hour and we only saw half. The suspension bridge was really fun and had some amazing views. The plants were not in bloom but that did not take away from the beauty. You could really see the moss on the trees and just how alive the forest is. They had their garden lights up for the holidays so those were throught but unlit. They weren't distracting or anything, they made us wish we had time to see them at night. Parking was free as well. We went on a Sunday morning and didn't pass many people on the trial. It was beautiful, I highly recommend 👌

We visited for the holiday lights display. It was a great visit! A nice, leisurely stroll through very nice and rightly themed lights, it was a great experience.
Plenty of volunteers on hand, often offering to take a picture of you and your family if they see you doing a selfie.
Just a really nice walk seeing all of the lights. Parking on their lot at the time had a small charge of $5, but it was unfortunately full so we parked down the hill for free, but the hill is a steep one and a bit daunting if you're not an active person.
But well worth the trip!

Nice stroll at the gardens. As its winter, flowers have not bloomed yet, but there is nice foliage around. Having maps along the way (and also distances as to how long each trail) would be nice. Can't be free entrance and free parking!

This was the first respects I paid to an iconic, influential and genuine artist Jimi Hendrix. The overwhelming feeling of peace and love and a little something magical about the air. In 2017, I was burning up the road heading out of country. I'd been from Oklahoma to Florida. Then Florida to Texas, and on to Arizona after that. From Arizona it was on to California, and so on up to Washington. Many times during that ride, Jimi had come up on my iPod. When I stopped in Oregon, and was looking over Seattle for sites to see, I saw that his memorial was in the area. I rode out of Vancouver, OR at 3 or 4 am, and all I played on the way up were his albums. I got to his Memorial a little after the sun rose and spent a some time there paying respects. He was gone too soon, but his voice and words will live on long after I'm gone. Rest in peace.

My work takes me near the Greenwood Memorial Park cemetery a couple of times a week, right around the break of dawn. The sky in the east turns slightly pink, sprinklers turn on, and the mist makes the memorial appear hovering off the ground. I light up one, and play one of Jimi's songs. It is a nice way to spend one's break.
We were so fortunate to be able to take the wine and cheese tasting class with Shelly Fitzgerald in her final version of it prior to the facility closing. Shelly was fantastic and so were the wines and cheeses. The other 3 couples in the class were also super nice which made the whole experience even better. The facility is wonderful and it's surprising that Gallo, who is purchasing Columbia is not also taking ownership of the building. If you can squeeze in a visit prior to closing, I highly recommend it. Thanks Shelly and good luck with you new adventures.

My husband came here earlier this year and absolutely loved it. The lady was very nice and knowledgeable. We ended up joining the wine club. My husband used his email and he got an email but after that we NEVER received anything. My husband called and left a voicemail and still never heard anything.
Our payment never went through. Months went by. We thought okay, I guess we will leave it alone and never go back. Another few months go by and I got a call saying something went wrong and the email address that we provided was entered wrong. But my husband did get the first one. They were nice and gave us free wine but by then we were like nope! Disappointed because it’s a cute winery but because of that they lost us as customers.

Nice place but you kinda get kicked out(pretty much) after finished wine testing. I asked a lady if we could stay seated little more after we paid for testing and also purchased a bottle of wine.. she said we can’t “Due to next appointment people” reason. and there was so many other tables. So if you don’t want to be rushed, drink it slow lol I guess. Or maybe we didn’t buy membership that’s why..? Anyway There’s so many other good wineries to go :) It was good enough to try once.

The world famous Columbia Winery is situated in the heart of local wine country in Woodinville, WA. Popular tourist site is also a nice special event venue for weddings, corporate functions, large catered private parties, etc. The food is excellent as one should expect. The staff is friendly, courteous, professional and all smiles. Of course, the wine is stellar and that's what draws people from near and far to smell and taste some of the best wine around. The entrance and overall grounds are less impressive than its wine, especially compared to the grand Chateau Ste. Michelle winery directly across the street. Also check out other wineries in the neighborhood like JM Cellars, Novelty Hill-Januik Winery and DeLille Cellars. Book several nights at the famous Willows Lodge where you'll also feast on Pacific Northwest style cuisine, enjoy luxury spa service and literally walk to all of the wineries. All in all, worthy of a visit to this Washington State staple. Book your special event now. Cheers 🍷

Many other reviews mention the fancy, beautiful atmosphere. These are spot on. I was not surprised to learn that this is a popular wedding venue. I was also not impressed with our visit. We stopped in early in the afternoon, and were told we needed to make a reservation (the place was NOT busy, but there are still restrictions due to COVID, so maybe that was it). We made a reservation for a tasting later that afternoon.
We arrived three minutes early for our reservation, and were told to wait by a window. Around three minutes later, we had a server come in and seat us. I can't imagine what the point of waiting three minutes was. Just like earlier, the place was NOT busy.
We arrived to our table to four matching selections for a tasting for the four of us. Each of us agreed that at least two of the selections were not something that we would have selected. I'd never been served a wine flight that I had no input on before.
Overall, we felt that Columbia seemed a little pretentious, especially as the wines we tried were not that great. There was at least one of each of ours that we didn't finish, and there was one in particular that was truly disappointing. There are other venues in the area (one VERY close) that we've enjoyed more.

Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery is a picturesque estate that produces wine and offers tours, tastings, summer concerts, and food pairings. Visitors can enjoy a quick tasting or relax in the sunken garden. Limited edition varieties are available exclusively at the winery, along with widely available options at great prices. Excellent customer service includes allowing customers to taste before buying. Reservations are recommended for all those in the area who want to experience this wonderful winery.
This is one of the nicest wineries site in WA state. They have some good wines but quite mainstream so usually i prefer wine tasting in smaller wineries around. However, they offer outside concerts in summer which are really enjoyable and fun to attend with family or friends. You can bring your picnic, buy wine at the winery and enjoy the concert that way.

For a birthday surprise I reserved the brunch box for a group of 5. Now when we think of brunch we think of a decently filling meal. Let me first say, overall, this place is beautiful and the service was great! Staff were friendly, quick to seat us, and follow up with any of our needs. The 4 mimosas did not disappoint us! Food wise, for the amount I paid I feel like they could offer more food. We all got one chicken/waffle, one sausage, shared yogurt and shared skillet hash browns. We ordered the rest of the food on the side as we were still hungry. The food tasted great. Literally everything had flavor. I wouldn’t do the brunch box again but I will be going back.

Just a great experience all around. You don't even have to be here that long. The tastings are quick. The sunken garden experience we did was very laid back. Parking is a little on the light side. The prices are great, as their varieties are widely available, but their are limited editions only available here as well. The customer service was excellent, as they will let you taste a few to find what you like before buying. I'd advise all in the area to visit. Make reservations!

🍽 Food is OK, I tried their cheese and meat platter, an artichokes dip which is fantastic
🍷 I did a wine flight it was pretty good, I wish they would also give you recommendations on what to order to try your flight with. Wine is delicious by itself but you can also bring out a lot flavor notes by mixing it with food.
👤 Service is great, everyone is really nice.
🛎 make a reservation because it does get crowded

Gotta love the Grande Dame of Washington wineries! ♥️ The breathtaking grounds never disappoint and the majestic Chateau is a gorgeous as ever. Summer Concerts here are simply the best. We’ve experienced many concerts here over the years, but this one was a little different. The security now is top notch. They’ve really got it down. We sailed right through and it hardly felt like we even stood in line despite the full crowd. The wine was delicious, of course, that goes without saying. Fun assortment of food vendors too. Was impressed to see new, private viewing cabanas and additional assigned seating, although I don’t think anything could make me give up my beach chairs and picnic basket! Always a good time at Ste Michelle. Susan Says…the show must go on!

We had a fantastic dinner on Valentine's night at the winery. Nicole Metcalf gave us a table right next to the fireplace. Jake was our server and did a great job. Executive Chef Michael Jordon and his staff put out a fantastic dinner.
Look forward to doing this again

Had an amazing Build Your Own Charcuterie Board session with Laura Lee and Aaron at Chateau Ste. Michelle. Such an amazing and warm team, all very knowledgeable about wine, pairings and charcuterie boards! 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for a memorable experience in Woodinville.

An amazing experience! James Taylor concert was out of this world good! I think they need to figure out parking and crowd effectiveness though, seemed a bit cumbersome process but once inside love the venue. Give yourself at least 2 hours ahead of concert and go early!!! Plenty of food and wine while you wait in the beautiful venue. Also members get discounts 🥳

Beautiful spot! The winery is an incredible property, including a concert venue with an awesome summer line up. We had the feature flight, which was affordable ($30) and delicious. We got to try 2 of their whites and 2 of their reds, with an additional bonus pour at the end. Although we didn't make it in time for the tour, we were still able to explore the grounds and various spaces inside.

If you are looking to have winery experience in town without driving far, this is the best & most Beautiful property. They used to have a Free walk tour and wine tasting about 1/2 hour, but now not anymore. There are so many great things about it and you can easily spend 3 hours here: you can walk around inside the Chartaeu, wine display & selling areas; outside the entire property: the gazebo, the pond, the vineyard and concert areas. And the parking is free. The Ste. Michelle Brut Rosé wine is about $20, good to grab one and try. Highly recommended.

Very nice venue and not very busy on this dreary Tuesday afternoon. Offers a different tasting each month, with small bites that match the wines.

My jaw dropped when I walked into this place! Endless options and loved the gift shop entrance. We were greeted by the hostess and they asked what we were looking for in tastings. We wanted a variety so we were guided to the Enoteca upstairs. James was our winery host and really helped assist us in andwering our questions and making sure we knew about the different options and tastings. I REALLY enjoyed 14 Hands options from dessert to dinner pairings. My husband fell in love with Erath the pinor. This stop is a must see!

Beautiful winery, really good wines and incredible service.
We came for one flight tasting and stayed there for a lot more and some delicious food. They explained every single wine, told us about the grapes and where they are made and made our time incredible.
Thanks to Elly & Ruben for making our visit so much more special!!

Wine Tasting Series, Part 4
Wineries…in the Pacific Northwest? That would have been news to me if it weren’t for our friends @jnmgoose, @daphae11, and @fred.mougayer. That group of HT Friends (who have coincidentally never been in a room all together…thus far 😉) all recommended that we make the time to visit Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery and are we glad that someone (🫵) finally listened (🤦♂️)!!!
While the “Wine Tasting Series” is a relatively new one, a clear favorite has emerged. I mean, what is there NOT to like here?
The wine selection is extensive (including bubbly options), there is a calendar of live musical performances, their Summer Concert Series features a shocking number of quality musicians, they offer private Chateau Igloos, and they offer a (limited, but) quality diverse menu of food options.
Although we didn’t have the opportunity during our visit, we’d love to experience their “Bubbly Beats Experience” in the future which features curated song playlists linked to specific wine pairings. 🤯
Oh, yeah. We are definitely hoping for a return visit. After all, we don’t always drink sparkling wine, but when we do, we prefer Chateau Ste. Michelle Rose. 😉
And that’s…Henry’s Take.

Had a lovely time there. The tasting was awesome. The grounds are amazing and we had an amazing person to show us and tell us things. Thank you Michelle from customer guest services for telling us about the peacocks that were there and giving us a tasting.
The Reptile Zoo is a well-kept and spacious facility that offers hands-on experiences with various reptiles such as lizards, snakes, and an albino alligator. Tortoises, turtles, iguanas, crocodiles, African bullfrogs, and tarantulas are among the creatures available for viewing. The staff is friendly and each reptile has personal details displayed. Visitors can also browse through the small gift shop upon entering.
I love this location and so does my son! We are big reptile fans and this place just keeps getting better and better over the years. They have a wondeful selection of reptiles. Staff always friendly and informative. Great location for all ages and close to home,.

Smaller than I imagined, but fit lots of different reptiles inside the exhibits. You can go through this in an hour maybe two if you take your time.
Most exhibits are harder to see through and needs updating, which I think is happening soon.
Still had a good exhibits and worth the price.

I highly recommend visiting this reptile zoo, but be sure to dress comfortably as it can get quite warm inside, which is perfect for the reptiles. I was thrilled to see the diverse range of reptiles, and it was an unforgettable experience to touch a snake for the first time and come face to face with a crocodile. These creatures are truly magnificent. While I wished the facility was better maintained and provided more spacious habitats for the animals, I understand the financial constraints involved. Overall, it's a worthwhile visit for any reptile enthusiast.

Neat and tidy, organized and spacious inside. Lots of snakes, tortoises, turtles, lizards and iguanas. A few crocodiles, African bull frog, tarantulas too! Most of the tortoises and a python were open for petting. Our 6 and 10 year olds were amazed. Good value for the entry fee. Worth spending two hours with those amazing creatures.

Went with my 4.5 year old and he absolutely loved it! We got to pet a few turtles which was nice. And so many different snakes. Which was kinda cool to learn about them, since I’m absolutely petrified of them but knew my son would love to go. All the way home, all he could talk about was the Reptile Zoo and how cool it was. Will definitely come back again.

DO NOT BELIEVE the lower star reviews. Bunch of vegan hippies who worship peta and post bad reviews for normal zoos. Anyways - I loved this place. The people are awesome and I saw no signs of neglect. Everything looked clean and there was definitely enough room for them considering they are rescues and unable to live in the wild. Take your kids! Not only is there tons of cool information to read as you ago, the gift shop has great prices and it’s a very fun experience

We spotted this place as we driving through Monroe WA.
We went back to check it out.
Admissions fee $10.96 and it is a Self Tour, but at 5pm they have a “feeding tour” which is included in the entrance fee.
Be prepared as it is a bit humid in temperature for the comfort of the reptiles and other creatures to be comfortable.
Lot’s of cool creatures to see.

We had a fantastic time visiting the Reptile Zoo! The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they took the time to answer all of our questions. The variety of animals was great, and all of the reptiles seemed healthy and happy. We especially enjoyed seeing the black tortoises, which were huge and majestic. Our children were also really engaged and excited to learn about all of the different reptiles.
The only downside to our visit was that we live out of state and won't be able to come back anytime soon. However, we would definitely recommend the Reptile Zoo to anyone who is interested in learning more about reptiles or who is looking for a fun and educational outing for the family.

My partner and I are from South Eastern BC and would often travel to Monroe for Formula Drift; every time we passed this business I would comment how I wanted to stop there. We had travelled to Seattle in early October 2023 for my birthday and were travelling the day of my birthday so we decided to stop in at the Reptile Zoo. Not sure how we managed to plan it this perfectly, but we got there right at feeding time on a Friday. We toured through with another group and watched majority of the reptiles get fed which was a super cool experience! The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and you can tell he was very passionate about his reptiles; he shared a story / a memory about each and every one of the reptiles there with us. As someone who has owned several snakes in the past, I can confirm that the reptiles did not appear to be uncomfortable or in distress, as some other reviews may suggest. This was definitely an amazing way to spend my birthday and we will absolutely be stopping in again the next time we are in the area!!

The Reptile Zoo was actually a lot bigger than I thought it would be. I brought my 2 year old and we were there for a whole hour. They can pet some of the tortoises, which is neat! Also, this is not a glorified pet shop – there are black mambas! It's super cool seeing the most dangerous snakes in the world.

My kid had fun. We saw exotic animals.
They all look3d so miserable and sad. They looked neglected. The building looked like it was borderline condemable. There was spider webs everywhere. Hazards galore. Plugs and metal and water combined. An unlocked snapping turtle cage. Rotting food in cages no water in hot cages crowded with little to no supervision. People tapping and banging on glass. Unsafe kids area with lights held by duck tape. Dirty very gross cages. Oil water. Blocked fire extinguishers. Rotting ceilings. Literally dripped water and debry onto me personally. It is so gross so sad and so dangerous. But your kids might love it. Never again. Never ever again. Should be shut down!!!!!

It's not a winners night every night. It seems we win a lot less led often but I'll give kudos where deserved. They make so far better effort at promotional events than other local casinos. But they've all gotten stingy. I recommend going for lunch or dinner or music but gambling as a side event fur you day. Then it won't be so disappointing win you walk out with zero winnings most times. The good is great. Enjoy. I keep going back for fun... hoping.

I think I need a redo I went on a weekday day morning since I wouldn't be able to go over the weekend. It was very spacious clean and super friendly staff. It was pretty uneventful since it was fairly early. Haven't been to casinos outside of Vegas (its prohibited in my residing state) so not sure if free alcohol drinks is a common thing at most casinos but not here that I could gather. There was little eats and lounges along the wall. But most were just opening up or still closed all together. But they did have a designated spot where you could get complementary coffee and soda from the fountains. I enjoyed the exterior scenery more nature little creek trees ect. Also not sure where they were coming from/going to but they had their own charter bus and a little shuttle that could be helpful.

It's nice. Valet was free for me the Sunday I went, maybe it's always free I don't know for sure. I had a couple drinks in the bar before having the buffet. Drinks are good and good price. The buffet was just okay, but so also good price. I wish the non smoking areas were more prevalent and/or the air was better circulated. They need better signage navigating around the property for the parking garage. The gas station was nice and friendly staff everywhere.

Solid casino that offers plenty of parking.
Be aware they allow indoor smoking of cigarettes, but their parking lot outside of the parking garage is patrolled by security, and they didn’t have a problem with me sleeping in my camper there overnight.
Plenty of live gambling games and tons of virtual games as well as few restaurants inside with a range of prices. Solid!

This is one of the cleanest casino I have seen. It is huge and has vast variety of games. There is a buffet and other restaurants if you want to eat. The bar at its center offers a wide range of drinks to enjoy. I feel it is better than the casinos in Vegas.

There are many people on weekends, but there is no smoking area and non-smoking area in the casino. In summer it is very hot and airless. The food at the fall buffet is pretty standard. From salads to entrees and desserts, everything was delicious and fresh, and the service was superb.

My recent visit to Snoqualmie Casino left me thoroughly impressed. The staff was incredibly friendly, making me feel welcomed from the moment I stepped through the doors. Not only that, but the entire casino was impeccably clean, maintaining a high standard of hygiene that is especially reassuring in today’s environment.
One aspect of the casino that I particularly enjoyed was the cigar lounge. It felt like a home away from home, providing a cozy atmosphere where I could relax and unwind. The attention to detail in the club’s design and amenities truly made it a standout feature of my experience at Snoqualmie Casino.
Overall, I highly recommend Snoqualmie Casino to anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and a clean environment. Whether you’re there for the gaming or to enjoy the amenities like the cigar lounge, you’re sure to have a fantastic time.

I come here purely for the restaurants and for the view (which can be viewed from the parking lot top levels or any of their dining options excluding the market) The casino is very clean and service at all of the restaurants are fantastic. Great staff!
Smoke smell is a bit overwhelming sometimes but they have generally good air filtration systems I think. Not a place to bring young kids even if you're just visiting restaurants since the second hand smoke is bad for the lungs. I personally wear a mask indoors while going through the machine areas anyways.
Really enjoy coming here in the winter months and seeing fantastic views of snow dusted cascade mountain range while dining. There's also lots of birds around here, we usually get to see hawks as well!

This was my first casino I made a trip to and as we always say - first impressions are the best ones this place has that in my mind for ever. The casino restaurant serves one of the best burgers around WA when it comes to veggies - the Boca burger, I sometimes just make a trip to this casino to have that. They also have a few vending machines for free including coffee and some soft drinks. They are expanding further so make sure you check the parking pathways as they have left them a little confusing.

Snoqualmie Falls is a well-known and scenic waterfall, standing at 270 feet tall and surrounded by a 2-acre park. Visitors can enjoy the breathtaking view from an observation deck or venture down to the lower viewing platform. The site is easily accessible by car, located just 40 minutes away from Seattle, with free parking available on the other side of the road or paid parking closer to the site.
Beautiful, picturesque waterfall, next to a hotel. Certainly worth visiting. Make sure that the weather is clear before coming.

Nice falls. Had a great trek on a trail, it is a little steep but worth the trek. The views from top and foot of the falls are great. Great spot for some quite time or just to have a beer river side. Sometimes too many people could make it disturbing but generally it is a peaceful place.

Stunning views! Visiting from out of state and just happened to stumble upon this amazing waterfall. You can view the falls from a lookout above or you can follow the trail and see the falls from below. Ample parking in the later evening. The hike down to the lower viewing was pretty steep. Paid parking right in front but free parking across the street.

The place is beautiful, the trails are expansive, and there is a place to buy gifts and food. If you are going to walk the trails, please be mindful that what goes down must come up. Save your energy for your trip back up, or you will end up very tired. There are a lot of steep parts to the trails, so those parts are not for inexperienced walkers. Please obtain a map or something if this is a concern.

Today was a beautiful day to see this! Absolutely breathtaking. Some of the stairs are closed off from the upper lot but just walk down a different path and you'll catch the 1/2 mile trail sign. Coming back up might be difficult for some, if you started from the upper lot. I'd recommend parking at the lower lot and walk along the trail/bridge (4th picture) to get to the falls.

We visited the falls on our vacation to Seattle. We came on a Friday afternoon at around 2 pm. Had a good amount of foot traffic but not terribly busy. Enjoyed the falls as it is a popular tour destination. Interesting to see its history. Worth seeing if you are in the area. Nice little park area to sit or enjoy a small picnic covered by trees. Nice plants around the area too. They have a gift shop full of souvenirs and books and such. Also a coffee/snack shop with ice cream. We were there for about 1-1.5 hrs. I’m from the east coast. Yes we have Niagara Falls, but the west coast is just so much better. This was one of the most unique and interesting places I have been. I was in Seattle for work but snuck in a few trips here and there to check things out. This was so worth the drive out there. The trees in the area are huge, nothing like what have on the east coast. The falls a big, the sound and mist are very beautiful. If you are anywhere near Seattle make the trip here to see them. The walk from the parking area is very easy. Walking to the bottom of the falls is not. One must be in decent shape to make it down and back up again. Take your time, stop and enjoy the sights, and soak up a little nature.

In terms of waterfalls it's not that big, but the surrounding nature is very beautiful. There is a paved walkway to admire the waterfall but there is also a moderate to kind of severe hike to the bottom of the falls that is not paved. Just some dirt and rocks and it can get pretty steep at some points.
I wouldnt call it steep to where it's dangerous but it is steep enough to where the average person might have difficulties walking down and return back uphill.
Someone in my group in her 50s did it in flip flops and I saw multiple children so it though, so it is possible.
The hike is totally worth it to see all the trees and wonderful sights along the way.

Sprawling park with campsites & trails encompasses lakes, rivers, forest & a 256-ft. waterfall.
We went today on a bright and sunny day, it was crowded and parking lot was full and people parked on road sides, luckily we got it in parking lot itself. We went to both lower and middle falls with my 6 years old kid, he was able to trek all the way on his own. It's 4.2 miles trekking to and fro for middle falls. You'll get the best view in the middle falls and along with that we enjoyed the awesome weather as well. Decent rest rooms and tables to have food as well. You need Discover park to park the vehicles, pets allowed as well.

Amazingly maintained trails!!
1. Experience:
The hike was quite easy till lower falls with a mix of uphill and downhill slopes. But the elevation starts increasing afterwards with frequent steep patches till upper falls.
The trail was amazingly serene with the sound of the stream at the beginning and waterfalls after the lower falls.
It was totally covered with trees so didn’t face any problem even though I went on a sunny day.
2. Trail conditions:
Now coming to the trail, it was well maintained with directions, markings and rest areas (like benches) provided throughout. I took about 4 hours to finish with my beginner to intermediate hiking skills.
3. Parking & amenities:
Parking spaces available are decent but there could be issues with parking on a busy day. Discovery pass is required. Washrooms are neat and clean. They also have information center and seating areas nearby.
Overall highly recommended!!!

One of my favorite quick and easy hikes. Get there early as the parking lot does fill up quickly, especially in the summer. The trail is well maintained, but it does get muddy in the spring or after rains. Not challenging but a good pay off.

Hiked Wallace Falls today and it was beautiful to say the least. The trail itself was well groomed. Granted, I went when the weather was dry and hot but come spring or fall, the trail could get slick given some of the steep terrain. Not an easy hike but not a killer hike either. The switchbacks are rough for sure but maybe not a good hike if you're a beginner or out of shape. Lots a great views along the Wallace and both the middle and upper falls have picturesque opportunities with either trail option. It's a popular hike and parking gets limited really quick so come early and beat the rush. Props to the park officials for keeping the trail clean.

Wallace Falls is about 5.6 miles round trip, with a ton of elevation gain (1,500 feet) that happens sometimes gradually and sometimes not. There are three main falls to admire, the lower, middle, and upper falls. You come up on the lower falls pretty quickly because there’s not a ton of elevation gain to get there. You can stop about a mile from the upper falls and enjoy the middle falls if you don’t want to complete the whole hike which is what we did. We visited in January so it was pretty cold, but surprisingly it wasn’t a muddy trail. Everything was extremely well maintained, but I would still suggest wearing a good pair of hiking boots to provide you with extra support.

Beautiful well maintained hiking places suitable for family hikes. If you look forward to go blend with the nature and enjoy the rain forest experience, visit Wallace falls during the February and March to enjoy the natural beauty of water falls, river and hike.

Great location for hiking. I recommend to bring enough water and food, there are no cafes or fast food there.
The path to the falls is going through the forest and it will take about 1,5-2 hours to get the Middle Falls.
The nature is beautiful and you can enjoy not only the falls, but also mountain river, lake and lush forest.

This park offers several trails, but you're probably interested in the Woody Trail to Wallace Falls. You'll enter a dense forest, follow a scenic river, then climb up some hills and cross some bridges as you catch some amazing views of a series of waterfalls. Like most visitors, I hiked to the Middle Falls Overlook and head back, which is about a 5 mile trip. It's the most scenic of the vista points. The hike, the forest, and the falls were all amazing!
The trail is only mildly steep for the most part and very well maintained - you don't have to be an expert to make it up. You'll have plenty of company though - this is a popular spot.
You need a Discovery Pass to park, which you can buy in advance or on the machine at the lot. Parking is TOUGH! I barely snagged a spot since I got there in the late morning, even though it was a weekday. Overflow parking is quite a long walk away, so get here early and good luck on weekends.

This is perfect place for a great family hike. We did the lower and middle falls, which is 4.2 miles in total. We reached there around 9:30 am and luckily found a parking in the main lot. If you do not find parking, there are opportunities to do roadside parking. Going up is mostly uphill, it is not too steep but can be challenging for kids and you may need to make stops in between. The views are fantastic, specially at the middle falls. There is a picnic shelter at the lower falls.

Beautiful trail. It’s a very famous hike so the parking lot will almost always be packed especially on the weekends. The entire trail is well maintained. I clocked in roughly 5 miles all the way to the upper falls and back to the trailhead. It’s totally worth it in my opinion to push through to the upper falls. The trail is quite steep at some points. Make sure to take your breaks in between. Lots of benches spread throughout. Make sure to stay on the trail as there are steep drops especially from the viewpoints. Discover pass is required!
Azhar Malik — Google review
The reason why I only gave 4 stars first is because there is a high-voltage line at the beginning of the trail road to the waterfall.
You can accompany your dog and the daily fee is $10.00. Of course, it's worth it, the signs are so good, and there are benches everywhere, so it was so nice to take a rest.
The uphill is a bit steep, so it can be a bit difficult for the elderly.
It's 4 miles round trip from the parking lot to the lower fall and it's a highly recommended trail.

Great hike with scenic views.
While it can get crowded, going in the morning hours will help you avoid the trail traffic.
Be prepared for uphill climbs.

This was a perfect hike for a typical PNW day. The trail is well maintained, views all the way along so no pressure for those who aren’t super hikers. The trail is mostly in the woods so even in the rain and wind it was a very pleasant hike. We got to “middle falls” before deciding to turn around. Some steep sections but nothing crazy. Great little hike! Facilities at the parking area were clean and well kept, parking was easy (don’t forget your discover pass), we brought our dog and he met lots of other friends along the route.

despite it being a bit challenging for me due to arthritis in my right knee, the journey was absolutely worth it. The hike offered beautiful scenery at every turn. I managed about 1 1/2 hours of walking and, although we didn't make it to the falls this time, what we experienced was gorgeous. Hoping to one day reach the falls, but I'm already grateful for the stunning views we encountered.

This hike was incredible!! Highly recommended - I did it alone and felt overwhelmed at first (bc I was the first one on the trail) but then found another hiker and it made me feel better. Incredible views!!

Large parking lot, which is great for big vehicles. We went to the upper falls, which was around 5.0 miles round-trip. Our dogs enjoyed the small crowds and the many places to stop and get a drink. Beautiful waterfalls and such an amazing view! There are a few spots where the step up and downs are pretty steep. At the top, it is misty so the ground can make the roots slippery. Make sure to watch your step. We enjoyed the hiking trails at this state park!

Beautiful hike , lots of parking 2.5 hours round trip to the upper falls . Not a hard hike. Kid and dog friendly
Upscale restaurant featuring New American dishes & fine wines, plus a patio with golf course views.
Great service, very friendly staff. The food was amazing and the cocktail was so good. I tried the jalapeño pineapple margarita and it was so so good. Never had such a good cocktail before. The ambience is perfect for a date night or any celebration. My husband and I went there for our anniversary dinner and we absolutely loved it. I would definitely want to go there in summer again.

Great service very friendly staff (Erin, Lauren and everyone who served us were amazing) but the food was just not in par. Except the morrocan chicken dish that was alright, everything else tasted bad and over cooked. They even messed up the oysters by adding a creamy sauce. Wine selection is limited so consider taking your own favorite bottles and pay the fork fees.
Chopped salad sauce was over powering. Chicken was overcooked. Halibut fish tasted bland and over cooked too. With all due respect the chef needs to put more efforts and get some culinary lessons.

I've been here twice and it wasn't as great the 2nd round. Though customer service was great.. got us in last minute. What wasn't great was the meals. It was very expensive. Kiddos didn't like the mac and cheese. The beet salad was the only thing I liked. (King salmon was dry) Husband got a ribeye steak and he said it wasn't quality cut. The truffle fries were ok. Overall - we won't return to eat dinner. Maybe appetizers and drinks.. but that would be another review.

Great wine and delicious food! Great lounge seating near the massive fireplace! The staff is knowledgeable and very attentive. The Mac and cheese is to die for.. it also helps that the views are amazing! Simply a great time and so relaxing, can't wait to go back.

We recently photographed Jordan & Taylor's wedding at Suncadia + Swiftwater, and all we can say is WHOA. This place starts off by grabbing you with the expansive views and stunning lodge, but going through the motions of an entire wedding day, we saw every tiny detail done PERFECTLY. The way this place, alongside Suncadia Resort, executed our couple's vision, was rather incredible to watch. Can't recommend this location and staff enough to host your wedding!

I cannot overstate how beautiful this place is!! Our family came to sled in the back and they were very accommodating to our group. The staff is very friendly, and the food delicious, for adults and the children in our group. The hot chocolate is delicious! The pulled pork sandwich and the truffle Mac n cheese is delicious. The Flatbreads were a decent size and shareable. The chicken strip were the perfect crispiness according to the adults in the group. We got to sit by an open fire and dry our coats while watching a football game. Food is delicious, staff so very kind and friendly. They were happy to tell us where the best sledding is and make us hot cocoas. Thank you Swiftwater Cellars for giving us such a great experience!

We absolutely loved the Swiftwater. Hoist restaurant was beautifully decorated. Wonderful ambiance and service. The food, oh the food. The best meal, without a shadow of a doubt, we’ve had in literal years. The servers are all knowledge and friendly. The managers work well together and watching the rhythm of their food line workers was really fun. 10/10 all around. Can’t wait to come back and try their flavors in a different season!

We loved it here! Came for wine tasting and lunch and then back for dinner.
The staff is sweet and attentive and the wine pours are generous so you get what you pay for.
The flat breads are delicious ( Brie and raspberry)
SWC salad was delicious and super refreshing. The chicken was grilled so nice.
For dinner we had Gnocchi and and flatbread and again sooooooo delicious and flavourful. Dessert doesn’t disappoint either!

Overall a very good experience. It is a little bit loud in the main dining area but that didn't bother us. There is a choice of outside seating with a beautiful view. Flat bread was one of the best I've had. Wagyu beef brisket was amazing. My wife had salmon which was an off the menu special. It was very well prepared. Our server, after taking our order, was nowhere to be found. It wasn't a problem because other servers were more than happy to bring us what we needed.

Unfortunately this restaurant disappointed on almost every front. The restaurant design is big, open, and very loud. Giant TV for sports. If looking for family friendly, maybe ok, but definitely not for a date night. And prices are very high for a family place.
Food was awful and made us sick. The wine was pretty good, so gave 1 extra star.

What a neat place! The vibes are immaculate, especially with the holiday decorations. We tried the Seasonal and No. 9 flights and loved every variety. The charcuterie was pretty good for the price but the summer sausage felt like a low-value filler. The mushroom and lentil soup was so good as well!! A beautiful winter experience. The staff were all super friendly and the building and bathrooms were very clean. Love that they are dog friendly too! Will definitely be back the next time I’m in the area and will definitely be recommending this spot to my friends and family!

Our waiter told us that they recently added the Chicken Piccata to their menu, and boy am I glad that they did. This was hands down one of the best chicken dishes I've ever had. The chicken was perfectly breaded and the sauce that covered the chicken and potatoes still has my mouth watering.
The group I was with also got a plethora of appetizers, desserts, and drinks which were all outstanding. I personally had the Manhattan which was my favorite (of many) while in Washington for a few days. Can't wait to return some day!
Front Street Park is a small green space with shaded walkways and grassy areas. It offers winter activities such as sledding and tree lighting. Great place to be when the holiday decorations are up. You can bring your own sled or buy one from the stores. There are lots of wine tasting or tap rooms for beer and cider, so make sure you reserve some time for those. The sidewalks can get pretty slippery, so be careful. I deducted 1 star because it is almost impossible to find a parking place without having to circle the block multiple times. We ended up parking a few blocks away and had to walk on the icy roads to get here.

No parking which is very a problem, there are signs that say don’t park here in winter time.
Had to just come very early just to not get caught illegally parking. The lights are very beautiful, but it’s very slippery in winter time, I was not expecting to freeze yet but I did eventually had to go to the middle area for heat. I didn’t realize that area with the light has heat. Maybe it’s just light but make sure you don’t fall because I feel two times.

Winter is an amazing time of year to visit and I felt like I was right back in the breathtaking state of Bavaria, Germany 🇩🇪 when we arrived. There are countless little shops and eateries to explore. I think the only things missing were Glühwein, Crêpes, and the familiar speech of Hochdeutsch, but that may have been just an oversight on my part. We will be back!

Nice place to sit and eat ice cream. Nice public bathrooms. Probably the coolest, freshest tasting public water fountain anywhere near the bathrooms. The speakers in the Pavilion were playing modern hits in polka/accordion style. Grandkids had a blast dancing by themselves in the pavilion and running up and down the sledding hill. During the winter we used to drive 3 hours to go sledding on the short bunny hill here, grab a hot cocoa and do the candlelight procession. On our bucket list whenever we visit the Pacific Northwest.

It was wonderful to watch lightning during Christmas time of the year. Kids had lot of fun at this park in snow. It was overcrowded but still we had lot of fun. Only thing bit annoying is that you have to park 20 minutes away to come by walk to this park. Well the glad part is entire town is lit with lighting so you can be well dressed and walk!

We can't wait to return and experience its warmth and beauty once again.

This ride was really nice, I'm happy it was open during the winter season. The best experience is to buy your tickets online to go through the line faster. It has great view when you are going down o ly sucks when you have to keep your eyes on the person in front of you so you don't bump into them but it was a nice ride.

Icicle Brewing Company, a charming rustic brew pub located in Leavenworth, Washington, is known for its locally sourced share plates and snacks. This popular brewery offers a variety of beers on tap that change with the seasons. Visitors can enjoy weekend brewery tours to learn more about the brewing process. The ambiance both inside and outside is impressive, with fire pits and heat lamps creating a cozy atmosphere.
This is a great place to sit down on a hot day. They have umbrellas and they continuously mist the area to create a cool atmosphere.
Other than beer, they had root beer and some good snacking options. We got a pretzel, charcuterie board and a salad. Everything was great, but I especially loved their salad! It was very flavourful and refreshing.

The weekend we went it was so cold hot that only a nice cold beer could hit a spot for us, so we went to the icicle and no regrets! The fly was per-fe-ct, and the little charcuterie so good!! I’m so in love with the nuts in that board. But besides that we were in a budget trip, and for sure we had a good time for less than 50 buck w tips! And the staff so well trained! One of the waitresses noticed that my dog was thirsty and brought her fresh water!!! That hit a spot in my heart! FOR SURE we’ll come back!

We had the meat and cheese tray and it was enough for my wife and I. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty. Our friends had a pretzel and chicken salad. We were all pleased and satisfied. We came during Oktoberfest and the brewery was right next to the main line, so it was very crowded to say the least. The wrist bands were a good idea, but only able to order a beer per a wristband was not helpful. I’m sure that during other times, it’s much easier just showing the ID at the bar! Good was good and the beers were even better love that they were pet friendly on the patio!

Waterfront Park in Leavenworth is a peaceful riverside park that offers various recreational activities such as walking and biking trails, play areas, and picnic spots. It's an idyllic destination that features magnificent trees and leaves, which gives it a serene atmosphere. Make sure to include a visit to the enchanting waterfront park during your trip to Leavenworth. It offers a surreal experience, with each season bringing its unique charm to this tranquil spot. It's a quaint and peaceful destination, and our usual routine is to begin at the waterfront park and then stroll into downtown as we make our way back.
A drawback is that the maps are not very informative, making navigation quite challenging for someone visiting for the first time, in my opinion.

This is the best part of visiting Leavenworth, in my opinion. We walked it for the first time, the first few days of June. There are still flowers and sunning butterflies and dragonflies all over. There is an aproximately two and a half mile loop of mostly flat, gravel path. There are no tables. There were a few benches to sit and rest along the path. We only saw evidence of self-important types who are too good to clean up after thier dog or themselves once...a dog mess and granola bar wrapper dressed the trail as we wrapped up back by the bridge. A trash receptacle was feet away. Dogs are allowed, on leash...but for goodness sake, bring bags and clean up after them. No waste bags are provided along the trail. Bring your own and clean up.
A few other people were there but there were several points we felt alone for a few minutes as well. The view across the river, on the far side from town, is picturesque. There are plaques showcasing the biodiversity and history of the islands creation, which make up this park. There are public restrooms by the bridge, near the begining of the trail from downtown Leavenworth. There is also a neat, if crumbly staircased lookout at the trails fork before the bridge. We chose to go right and cross as going left keeps you directly by town.
It does get hot quickly already, so I suggest visiting before lunch. There is a significantly steep, if paved road to get down before you come to the entrance. Those with mobility issues may have an easier entry from the boat ramp...though the path is gravel and has some bumps.

Leavenworth is lovely this time of year and Waterfront Park is the best part of the trip. It was fairly crowded on the weekend of 23 October, but the leaves and trees muffle the sounds and it was so nice and quiet. And the leaves were spectacular. Leavenworth itself is a cute little town. Not quite German but does bring back memories. It's roughly a 2.5 hour trip from Seattle. Take route 2 over 90 and you will see amazing scenery. Be prepared to stop often to take in the views but do watch out for all the crazy photographers walking alongside the road to nab their shots.
Love this place. Their fruit and veggies are of the best quality. Their made from scratch daily baked goods are some of the best I have ever had, especially their pies!!!
I do a lot of freezing juicing, canning and baking so I LOVE that they offer 2nds on their freshly harvested fruits as the prices are so affordable.
But they have much more than produce and such nice people working there. It's a real gem for Yakima.

Lovely local orchard that sells their fruits from beautiful old building on the property. It was great to visit a place that didn't stock their shelves with imported fruits, which means selection depends on what is in season. When I went there was a huge selection of apples in addition to a odds and ends from the community such as jams and soaps. I also picked up an apple pie, which was delicious.

Apples, pears, pumpkins, although place is very pricy. $3 for a small dill bunch. Apples 1.99-2.99$/lb, no bulk buy option. Nice place to look around though. Apples, peaches, corn look to be brought from some other orchards and not locally grown at this particular farm, hence added cost.

nice place to get fruit, they had creamed honey I was looking for. highlight was the cute lil bakery. amazing handmade pies and the ppl were very nice. cookies were a good deal, try the 3 berry pie.
edit: forgot to mention the veggie tarts. we saw them come fresh straight out of the oven, and got one piping hot. they make their goods there and bake it on site. a very respectable business, would definitely recommend going there.

Best apples around. They also have yummy baked goods!
Laid-back brewpub doling out house craft beers in a rustic yet contemporary setting.
Amazing brewery... I first had their beer back in 2009 and been a regular customer since.
I keep coming back because of the amazing, craft beer style brews and the top notch customer service. All three servers: Nevada, Ashley, Claire will go above and beyond to make sure you get what you want and treat you like family/long time friend. I don't think you can go wrong or find a better brewery in the area.
OHHHH and it gets better! They now serve in addition to beer, hard cider and wine!!! So everyone in the group can be happy and find something to match his/her taste.
Check em' out...

Pretty wide selection of beer for on premise and to-go. A nice touch, the to-go beer is just as cheap as you'll find in the grocery store. Nice staff, nice atmosphere, highly recommended if you want a beer. Kids welcome, dogs welcome outside. Free popcorn. Outside food welcome - what little food is for sale here is really just for gastronomic emergencies.

Great beer, great people, fun events, hilarious marketing and an amazing atmosphere filled with happy fans of beer. It’s also kid-friendly with a large outdoor seating area and stage for live music.

Love ironhorse!! This was our first visit to the brewery the indoor area was a little smaller then I expected but it's a cool spot. Other than popcorn I'm not sure what food they have.

In downtown Ellensburg, this is a pleasant pub from a popular Eastern Washington craft brewery.
The place is yellow outside, which is kind of asking to come in. The inside is welcoming and well decorated. There is also a nice patio that is quite enjoyable when the sun is out.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their brews.
The beer was fine. You have a decent variety to choose from and can go for a flight if you want to try several kinds.
The food was the classic fares for this kind of place, was served in good portion and tasted good.
The prices were fair.
Overall a good experience.

The food.and drink here were excellent! The staff was very friendly and brought out our meals and drinks very quickly. The oven was out, so we were not able to order pizza like we intended, but the Mac and cheese and quinoa wrap that we got were very good for not a bad price. We were also able to fill up a growler for cheap. Highly recommend going here for either hanging out for a drink or for good eats

Taproom has been on our list to visit for a while, so glad we finally made it in! Service was fantastic, tried several beers 🍺🍺 and a few of their newly acquired bad granny ciders . The space is cozy and they serve popcorn. They have these cute little coffee tables made out of half kegs! To go beer is available so grabbed a 6 pack for home 👍

Iron Horse is a pioneer to the Ellensburg chanel of local breweries. As most residents know the movement of the older tasting rooms, Iron Horse's current newer location is in their local production facility.
This is a smaller sized public brewery with a nice larger outdoor seating area. Feel welcomed by there family friendly board game filled library.
Kids and pups welcome!
The staff are extremely friendly and thier beer speaks for themselves.
As a reminder, they do not serve food other then their fresh popped popcorn; they are very welcoming to outside meals, so BYOF.

So happy to have a brewery location to stop and enjoy an Iron Horse beer again. The Tap Room has both indoor and outdoor seating, tasty brews, guest ciders, friendly staff and FREE popcorn. IYKYK We'll definitely be back next time we're driving through.

The one beer I had was good. $7.50 for a 20 oz beer. Guess its been a minute since I have purchased a beer at a brewery.

Been wanting to go here for years. Was not disappointed at all. Bartender was awesome, beer was great with a few that are not available in stores. The outside look from the road does not show how great this place is inside. Even has family games and popcorn.

Nice pub in Ellensburg. Great beer, nice food selection. Our favorite beer is Irish Death. It's a dark beer with a really light taste. Lots if seating available, stop in for a quick beer and a bite to eat.
The Yakima Valley Museum is an exceptional museum that offers both education and entertainment. Its exhibits cover the history of the area from a geographical and historical perspective, with special emphasis on Yakama Native American heritage and agriculture. The museum boasts several prized collections including horse-drawn conveyances, early motor vehicles, and a working model of a Depression-era soda fountain. Additionally, visitors can enjoy exploring the unique kids' section that resembles a small town for children to play in.
There is so much more than you think! We had a good time going through the museum. I went in with a 3, 5, and 7 year old. They had a blast! There are interactive exhibits, screens with informational educational videos, and there is also a children’s play area! It is cost friendly and was definitely well worth the trip. There was rich history of Yakima!

Cool place. My wife and I went here for our Valentine's Day weekend. Had lots of fun and took lots of good pictures. The lady up front, I'm sorry about her name escapes me, was very nice and knowledgeable. She found my wife the perfect gift. She enjoys it very much. If you're looking for a fun time on a Saturday, I highly recommend this place.

OK seriously impressed. Well laid out, varied, and interesting all around. A highlight was the working beehive. This is a great local museum! A good size and well layed out. Plenty of interactive exhibits for people of all ages. Come early and enjoy the park as well. Very family friendly! A kid play area downstairs looks like a blast. The center atrium opens the place up nicely. The soda shop was closed when I was there but it looks fun as well! We will definitely be coming back soon!

A big chunk of history available for your eyes to see. There is plenty of parking space available outside, including handicap accessibility. The ticket for adults is $8, available as soon as you enter the museum. They do have restrooms right near the entrance in the front lobby. A nice place for the history buffs. I do not live in Yakima but drove about two hours to get here, definitely worth it.

Don't miss this very enjoyable museum focused on the Yakima Valley. Many interactive exhibits with fascinating information on the geologic history of the valley and region as well as indigenous people, many examples of transportation vehicles, curiosities and attire. Learn more about famous people from Yakima and the kids can enjoy a fun play area in the "Underground". Top it off with some ice cream when the classic parlor is open.

$8 to get in and definitely worth it. Spent about 2 hours here, but easily could have spent 5-6 hours if we would have had more time. So much to see and learn about Yakima and the culture, that made it into what we see today. Had a great time and looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Sprawling winter sports area in a 2,000-acre basin with 4 chair lifts & 36 designated runs.
Great place for beginners, Freedom Pass program exceeded my own expectations. The staff members are amazing, especially the ski school staff. The energy they all give off is contagious, I found myself laughing and joking along with them. By lesson #4 we were all on a first name basis. It's been a great experience and I'm looking forward for next season, thanks Mission Ridge!

Visited Saturday 1/22/22. $105 total all day lift, preferred parking, fees and taxes. After rain earlier in the week, conditions were hard ice with a thin groomed layer. Less than 1/3 of the trails were groomed and they were scrapped down after my first 3 runs. 2-2 chair lifts take you up to a high speed quad and 1 more 2 seat chair. I was impressed by the speed of the quad at 17-18mph but most importantly- it didn’t stop running one time during my visit. I’ve visited other Washington resorts where the quad chairs stop frequently but that’s not the case at Mission Ridge. So despite a line at the lift, it goes by fast. All 2 chairs are old school and you gotta be familiar so with new skiers and kids they did stop but not too much. Be prepared to ride with strangers as they don’t have a social distancing policy on the lifts. I was a bit disappointed to see they let early birds stage equipment at beginning of lift line thereby reserving first in line spot without having to stay with the gear.
Lodge was nice with usual fare usual prices. Bathrooms are clean and good condition except the bathrooms located close to the parking lot. They were fairly run down and unkept. Customer service was very good with every engagement we had with the Mission Ridge team.
Today I was only able to hit 1/4 of blues and greens and one blackD but once the groomed was scrapped it was seriously dangerous. The well traveled skier can easily see the mountain would be fantastic skiing under better conditions. Trails run today. Upper and lower Tumwater, Sun spot, upper and lower lip lip, bomber bowl, toketie, Mimi, and boundary road.

Okay, I’ve been going to mission all season, and I’ve loved it, but the icing on the cake has to be the women’s intermediate and advanced group lessons. I’ve really felt myself strengthen as a skier under the tutelage of Laurie, Sam, Heather, and Anya.
Today, I did what was essentially an individual lesson with Laurie, and it was such an amazing experience. She is so kind, so encouraging, and so passionate about the sport. It really helped me to grow my confidence on off-piste terrain. And she knows the mountain so well, it’s really nice to get to explore things I never would have gotten to see on my own. I really cannot thank her enough. If you get a chance to learn from her, just know you really are learning from the best.

Friendly small mountain vibe. Good length green runs for my little kids to learn on. Most chairs are the old school 2-seaters, but they do have 1 very nice upgraded quad chair lift with conveyor loading and windshields (chair 2) and it's the best - goes to the top for an epic 360 view!

The local ski resort of choice. Gorgeous views, great options for food and beverages, fun activities, super friendly and fun staff. An overall warming experience even though you’re in the cold, snowy mountain valley. Oh and clean bathrooms!!! That says A LOT about how this resort cares about the quality of everything they provide their guests.

Mission Ridge is the quintessential "old school" ski area. People are friendly, service is great, lines are short, grooming is fantastic, and there is enough interesting terrain for skiers of any level. I gave up on ski areas closer to Seattle owned by big corporations and made Mission my primary ski area. Views are pretty sweet also.

Great one if you can stay in Wenatchee for a night. We live in Seattle so it's a bit far as a winter season go-to ski resort. This year the snow conditions in Seattle nearby resorts weren't as good so we wind up here, and we are not disappointed! The place is much less crowded, and when you go up the mountain the snow is very good! It's also just about 25 minutes away from Wenatchee where you can find plenty of food varieties. We'll definitely come back to spend more weekends this season!
A mile of natural stone paths amid hillside gardens, pools & woods. Open seasonally.
Such a beautiful place to view and walk/hike.

The amount of work it took to create this little paradise is just astounding. From hauling rocks there, to hauling water to take care of it all. Definitely was a labor of love. It's a beautiful, shady trail that weaves up and down the hill, with nice views of the wenatchee area below. Lots of pretty flowers.

A unique garden built on a hillside. A great place to come on your own for a quiet time of reflection or to read a book tucked into a peaceful area. Bring your friends and family and enjoy roaming the beautiful hillsides. Look for gnomes or sit next to one of the many ponds or roam the hillsides and enjoying the flowers and nature.

Amazing gardens, totally worth the trip. Cool alpine style gardens on top of a sagebrush covered hill. Many things to see throughout the gardens, traveling through the forest you find hidden pools and waterfalls. Amazing spectacular views of the surrounding area and the Columbia river. The flagstone paths are a bit uneven, so grab a walking stick from behind the gift shop if you have any difficulties with balance or walking. Decent shoes for walking too, I wore flip flops and it was not a good idea.

This is a hidden gem. We ended up spending 4 hours relaxing on the various benches and exploring the paths. The views are fabulous. Don't miss the Hobbit Bench! There are several pools with beautiful reflections. Bruce in the office was very knowledgeable and helpful. They even have walking sticks to borrow!

Ohme Gardens Park is a small oasis with lots to see! I was expecting more signage and educational information, and it would have been nice to have water fountains throughout the park for guest use. (Side note - it was 105°+ on the day we were there in mid-July, which made the experience a little difficult to enjoy).
If the weather was better, we could've spent more time exploring the park. The park is mostly made up of stone pathways that lead you through various ponds and views. There are stone benches throughout the park where you can stop and enjoy the view. We saw some birds, a lizard, and lots of goldfish.

Nice view. Good photo spots. Kids enjoyed moving around. The map they gave was helpful.
Not stroller/wheelchair friendly. My friend was able to enjoy the garden by having the infant in a baby carrier

My experience of this garden was colored by our previous (last week) visit to Buchart Gardens near Victoria, BC. While Ohme is very nice, it can't come up to the beautiful garden in Victoria. The paths are very uneven, which adds to the beauty of the gardens. This is not a place that is very accessible to those in wheelchairs.

UNBELIEVABLE! I fell in love with this gem. High up in the hills, this green garden oasis is filled with charm, resting places and peaceful energy. Stone paths wind up and down through the acreage leading to ponds, waterfalls, nooks and benches carved in stone and lush landscaping. Lots of photo opps and you’ll want to capture the views of the valley and mountains. I visited in May; temperatures were ideal and pleasant. Paths very manageable with children who are comfortable with stairs (no wheels).

Wonderful hiking spot with many easy trails to walk around on. They cleverly placed gnomes and fairy's all around the mountainside so you could try and find them. Amazing views of all the Wenatchee land and river.
Amazing market with plenty of shops and cafes. Our favorite was the honey shop with all the types of Honey and Mead to try. Best place for a Sunday afternoon.

Love this market and it's stalls. It's a must have visit. However, the COVID has taken a toll here as well. Many ships were shut down. What is surprising is that in this huge produce growing area, there were no fruit, vegetable shops left. Still a good place to but honey, trinkets, eat a wood fired pizza and drink some local brew

Visited on a Friday afternoon. Relaxed energy, multiple restaurants offering everything from coffee to pizza. Additional shops selling honey, meats, produce, wine, handmade items and more. Great spot for any meal of the day plus galato. This feels like a smaller version of the Granville Island Market in Vancouver BC. So similar and delightfully familiar. Walk outside and cross the quiet street to the Riverfront Park to enjoy beautiful scenery along the river.

The Pybus Market in Wenatchee is a cool place with a modern vibe that houses a meat market, many restaurants, and some cute little shops as well as a bicycle rental company. It was hard to choose but we ate at South with great service and deliciously different food. The fish tacos and dip appetizer were excellent.

Reminiscent of Pike's Place in Seattle or Granville Island in Vancouver, BC, this indoor public market, built in what looks like an old train station (and considering its location, seems likely), is packed with restaurants, specialty grocers, cafes, wineries and boutiques: a little something for everyone. Whether you're looking for a fine wine, a cheese to pair with it, some sliced meats to construct a charcuterie board, fresh honey, olives and olive oil, or just a bite to eat and a cocktail, Pybus Public Market has something for you.
Being from out of town, the Pybus Public Market was one of the first places of interest I spotted in Wenatchee on Yelp, and I knew it was the sort of place that would interest my wife and I. This place is the sort of community hub that takes the best of what a city or town has to offer, and presents it attractively in one neat, concise package, appealing to locals and tourists alike. My only strike against it would be wishing that it was larger, and even more comprehensive!
Jason Van Camp — Google review
Loved the selection of restaurants, wine and beer places, and other shops in this open warehouse. Lots of choices with an open community feel. Sit inside or out depending on weather or wind. Rode our bikes from the Confluence State Park along the fabulous bike trail, about 2 miles mostly level, paved, and no car interactions. Wenatchee has done something very special with the waterfront parks and paved trail along the river connecting downtown businesses with two state parks.

Bit of a let down. Was (perhaps unfairly) comparing it to Seattle's Pike Place Market (the clue is in the sign) where they toss fish and have artists and street performers alongside an expanse of clothing and jewelry and home decoration vendors. The Pybus Public Market is more like a food court at a large shopping mall. They do have some vendors but overall it was an underwhelming experience. To be totally fair the assortment of food choices was nice.

A lovely place filled with interesting stores selling balsamic vinegar, honey, cheese etc and an array of restaurants. If you just finished a day on the mountain and are seeking a place for dinner, this is the no. 1 place I'd recommend!

Small building with a couple of vendors selling soaps, artwork, accessories, bread and jarred pickles. Mostly restaurants. I didn't try the food so I dont know if it's good because we had lunch already but the building is located right next to a riverfront park. Could be a casual lunch spot with a view or walk. I was expecting more local produce, gifts, and baked goods from a "market". I came on a Sunday.

This place is definitely worth walking around. Cute shops and really nice people. Our 3-star rating is based on the fact that we have eaten at 3 different restaurants there and have found them all to be mediocre. Check it out but recommend walking a couple of blocks up the road to eat.
My brother and I took the tour here. It was interesting and quite informative. It was quickly obvious that they were giving the tour in order to put wind farms in a positive light. The two young ladies that were working there did a very good job. One of the reasons that the tour was effective in promoting wind farms is because they clearly are a great way to make renewable energy. Seeing them up close only reinforced the positive. I highly recommend taking this tour.

This place was awesome, we happened to be in the area and decided to take the long was home from a concert at the gorge. This was for sure worth the drive, it does seem kind of like a road to no where but very pretty and scenic. We are middle aged and really enjoyed the information and history in the center they have! You get to get up close to the wind turbines and it really puts them into perspective of how big they really are. If your lucky you might even get to watch them climb them. Truly a phenomenal experience and I highly reccomend visiting at least once. The weather was awesome, there were plenty of parking spots, and it was not crowded. We went in the middle of june! It was perfect.

A very good place to see what is a wind farm like and they even have a blade lying on the ground that you can see at very a close distance. A good place to spend a weekend with a little bit of learning and a little bit of hiking. Despite of the strong wind, it may be hot in a sunny summer afternoon. Please add or remove some clothes before the guided tour begins.

This place was great! The lady was so nice and inviting! We went on a Sunday and it was absolutely freezing out so we were surprised to see that it was open. We had the whole place to ourselves. I'd love to come back and hike the trails but it was near 0 and snow covered so we settled on watching their informative film and reading the placards on the walls. The person below, John Walker, is an idiot. It's a state park, they all charge 10 dollars or just buy the discover pass for 30 a year.

The visitor center is an absolute must see if you are in the area. It has an unbelievable panoramic view of the Columbia River. We really enjoyed the displays explaining the geology of the region. The actual park leaves a lot to be desired. You are encouraged to walk around a sun blasted hell-scape looking at very few petrified stumps in the ground.

Great views of Columbia River and the surrounding scenery. They have preserved some petrified tree barks which is unique. Lots of info boards and telescope available to view farther areas. We also saw plenty of longhorn sheep grazing nearby. Limited parking but not crowded. Restrooms available.

A nice pleasant place to take a break from long drives. A nice restroom is available near the picnic area. Dogs can hang out in the picnic area. No real place for kids to play, but there are interesting places to go look at. Inside the visitors center there is staff to answer questions, a small gift store and various explanatory displays. A short path to the right of the building takes you to a display of some of the collected pictographs, some of which are quite interesting. The paths to the left of the building take one to the overlooks down the canyons towards the Columbia, quite scenic.

Very calm and peaceful place to hang out, very close to I-90. Beautiful sweeping views of Columbia River. The park is very small but has nice pullouts on the side to take in the views. There is a boat launch area just off of an exit that has a picnic area, toilet, and trail.

This location is very close to the freeway and open until dusk. It costs $10 to visit and there is a kiosk so you don't have to have cash.
I found the petrified wood to be remarkably colorful and to have a great deal of texture. It's beautiful to look at the pieces that are scattered all over the area.
I was unable to visit the inside of the state park because of the hour I arrived. It looks like a very good area to learn more about how the petrified wood came to be in this area. It looked interesting enough through the glass that we will try and come back.
In addition to the quite spectacular quantity of petrified wood, the view looking over the Columbia River is equally as amazing with a brief description of the ice related floods that scoured the Columbia River gorge.
I don't know if it was just the time we were there, but it was very windy! Based on the vegetation, I suspect it as commonly windy.

This was a neat place to stop if you're in the area. The views from the visitor's center are beautiful. The petrified wood is really interesting to see and really accessible to view from the parking lot.
We had an eagle flow RIGHT ABOVE us while we were there - very idyllic!

Interesting hike to see what is left of a forest of the past. There are petrified tree stems along the trail that are numbered. It's an easy stop between Seattle and Spokane to stretch your legs and see a little natural history.

The signage, to it) or to let you know it is there, leaves a little to be desired. However, GPS will take you right to it. And once there, they did a great job. A lot of info, friendly ranger. And quite the view.

Super interesting!
The Gem shop has lots of cool stuff to see (and touch).
The visitors center has a ton of things to check out and the story behind everything is fascinating.
If you get a chance to take a hike, you can see some of the trees still in the ground. There’s even a couple Walnut trees that are HUGE.

I would’ve gave it a five except for the restroom. There was more orb spiders in there that I cared to count. If you have to go to the restroom I suggest you drive down to the recreation area. The view a spectacular day was gorgeous. Inside was very informative. I would recommend you stop by there just empty your bladder first.
Scenic, expansive landscape of scalloped cliffs & groundwater-fed lakes, plus a visitor center.
Stunning Missoula flood artifact. The best view is right off the side of the highway north of the state park entrance. Absolutely recommend when in the area.

We have camped at several WA state parks over the years and Memorial Day weekend 2023 was hands-down the worst weekend camping I have ever experienced, at SunLakes Dry Falls state campground in our travel trailer. Why? Well, 90 percent of the restrooms were locked closed the whole time (on a holiday camping weekend? Nice weather? Why?! Please don't blame it on "staffing" - makes zero sense.) Also - goose droppings literally all over the grass and beach the whole weekend. Um - this is a serious danger to very young kids. Also - mosquitoes. Like, the. Worst. Mosquito. Experience. I. Have. Had.... in my life. To the point that it was a health hazard to me and do my dog. Mosquitoes are a health hazard, as is, DEET, but - what do you do? And before you say "mosquitoes and bugs are just a natural part of camping," here is my rebuttal to that - WA state should have closed this park down and refunded/notified everyone because of this until they got it under control. Period. They are well aware it is a problem because they have bat houses there to try to control them. They have the ability to spray for them and they just refused. It became apparent to me that park revenue was more important to them than the basic health of the campers and pets. Yikes! All these issues yet their camping rates are still so costly. No more Eastern WA camping for us until we verify there are no mosquito issues.

Breath taking place. Went to a lower point of it (Dry Falls Lake) and to the high point (Dry Falls Vista House) where all the beauty can be viewed from above. There are a lot of parks and resorts before getting to the destination, like Parks Lake or Sun Lake resort. There is also a golf corse in that area. Good place for family to spend time at. (Swimming, fishing, playground, hiking). Enjoyed this place with my family.

Great place to visit, endless veiw at the visitor center. The veiw is even better when you drive down to Dry Falls Lake. Note: The road to the lower lakes is paved but the cut off road for Dry Falls is ruff, rocky and fun.

Simply one of the most stunning examples of the power of natural forces. Seeing this formed in a matter of hours would have been both terrifying and awe-inspiring. The visitors center is in desperate need of a remodel/ restoration but is loaded with information for those who are curious and would like to know about geologic catastrophism. The park ranger we spoke with was VERY knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic about this natural wonder. Please don't hesitate to ask the rangers questions, that's why they're there! Please, please stop and experience the Dry Falls for yourself.

It’s a mini Grand Canyon experience as the dry lands stretch out for miles. The gapes the mountains where now roads are laid & people have habitats is where there used to be a great water body. It’s humbling to see how nature has changed over millions of years.

Went here while working in Spokane back in October 2018. Amazing views from the ridge. If adventurous could hike the area. If in the area check it out. Go see Grand Coulee Dam as well.

Lakeside aquatic park with a large pool, 3 slides, a river for tube floating & a surfing simulator.
Great way to cool down on a hot day. My kids absolutely loved the park. Admission fee was reasonably priced. Felt safe with all the life guards that are constantly on duty. Outside food is allowed but there is also a place that sells food their as well. We got a chocolate/vanilla swirl ice cream cone and some authentic tacos but there is a lot more to choose from. We loved the lazy river and splash pad area. We had a great family fun day!

Way back in the mid 90s when this opened up It was brand new and an absolute favorite to go to as a teen during the hot summers we would get in the 90s and 100s. Great memories of swimming and using the slides. Glad to see its still around and kept up nicely for future generations.

Wonderful little gem, not crazy like wild waves, or packed like slide waters. This has a limited amount of slides but if you have little kids or younger than 10, you'll be set. Small enough to keep your eyes on all the kids, but not too small.

Well maintained water park only a 20 min drive from our campground. Plenty of parking and plenty of chairs and picnic tables. Although you can bring your own food/drinks and snacks there's a hamburger/tacos and ice-cream stand. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked. There's an indoor community shower with soap but be aware before you decide to shower your kiddos the water is really hot and you have to keep pushing for more every minute. I guess is only to rinse yourself but used it in between playing in the pool to warm me up lol! Kids under 2 are free and between 2 to 5 are $8 The rest is $16. You can reentry with outside food anytime. There's a grass area where you can put a blanket or your own chairs or tent if you decid to bring them. Bring your own towels or by some at their shop which also sells sunglasses and other waters accessories.

I like this water park for younger kids under five because of the beach access. For older kids I prefer to travel to Chelan water slides. But the Moses Lake slides are still fun for older kids every once in awhile.

There are 3 water slides for the big kids and adults there are 2 diving boards high and low dive, there is a kiddie area and a baby splash area that has spray jets that come out of the ground, there is the surfing area that is a big hit for sure, a lazy river it is not a big lazy river but it does the job as long as you don't get dumped on by the water buckets the is a sand playground and a lot of shade in the grass area's. The cool thing is you can bring in food and a shade tent and stay all day. They do have a food stand and a small shop to buy things you may have forgotten. We buy the season pass because it is worth it for us if we go 3 times the pass is paid for. Parking can be tricky once in awhile but not to bad. There are a lot of lifeguards and they do their job well and are pretty polite as long as you follow the rules. I JUST WISH THEY STAYED OPEN LONGER SO I COULD FO AFTER WORK ON WEEKDAYS!

We drive from spokane to join all our friends here about 30 minutes before the park was set to close my son was on diving board waiting for the other jumper to clear the water, Corbin a life guard was very disrespectful to my son and making comments about me to my son about him not having a mom or even his mom being dead because my son wouldn't jump when Corbin told him too and then proceeds to stop my 6 yr old daughter and tell her she needs to leave the park and not come back ever again. I'm pretty disappointed and will probably never return to the park. Nobody spends that kind of money to have a horrible experience, nor should a grown adult have a job being a lifeguard working around a bunch of children and saying that nasty stuff to them.

It's a great family water park. Slides for every age. Water stream tubing. Water spirts..statues for little ones. Shallow and deep end pools. Surfing water area. 4 and under free. You can bring in your own food. They sell food there as well. Hamburgs, nachos, carne asada fries and tacos. Great ice cream cones. Alot of shading.

Great family fun! Awesome spot to go with family, clean, water is always perfect. It has a lazy River, large swimming areas, diving boards, surf stimulator, shallow pool section for young children, sand box with toys, 2 sand volleyball courts, great slides. Bring your own food cooler but if you don’t no worries there’s vendor options. It’s a safe place for all ages.

It was nice, the soda is super expensive, but you can bring your own food in which is good and something I would recommend. It was pretty packed(being the height of summer and all) but I didnt stand in line for anything longer then 5-7 minutes. I especially like the lazy river, it's very relaxing. Plenty of sunny and shady spots to hang out, and tables to set up at to eat. The lifeguards seem to really be on top of things as well, respectfully reminding the kids of the rules and such. All and all a nice little break from the summer heat!

My family and I have been going here for years. If you've never been it's really an amazing place to go to enjoy a nice hot day away from the city. You pay once to get in, and you get an all-day stamp. You can bring in a cooler with food things you want to cook right there because they have BBQ grills available, just bring your own coal. People are super friendly and literally you can spend an entire day here.
