We were in Los Angeles for a four days and the walk of fame is a must if you ever go. It is free and you can chill and see as little and as much as you want. A lot of interesting shops and things to do along the way to break it up. Well worth the visit.

Once in a lifetime experience. You feel like Hollywood star when you walk here. Would recommend to everyone to visit if possible. You will get amazed to see hand and foot prints of your favorite actors. You will keep searching your favorite actors name and will find everyone. You can go either day or in nights but feeling is same.

It could have been sooooo much better, they need to take care of the cleanliness there, probably caused by a lot of homeless people on the side street. I got a mixed feeling about the Walk of Fame, some parts are good and others just don't fit the feel. They are good shops around to buy souvenirs and grab some food to eat.

Awesome! And take a bus tour while you're at it. They really teach you a lot about Hollywood and surrounding communities and how they came about. It's so interesting. It's currently $50,000 per star to get a star after nominated. Super fun walk up and down

Hollywood walk of fame is about the legacy of stars from various fields of film making who worked towards excellence and carved a niche with their lifetime works. It is great to see the signs but it would be great if the local city council does special events to explain it’s significance and maintain the neatness of the walkways. It’s free to walk around but finding ideal car parking space in Hollywood city is challenging
Vin K — Google review
Came here really only to see the stars & take some pictures of the most iconic names. If your going with children I definitely recommend checking out the other attractions that are around. It can all be done in a day however I would definitely prepare yourself for a lot of walking. I also very highly recommend that if your going to buy any souvenirs you buy them around here !!! GREAT PRICES! Overall amazing experience. 5 ⭐️🤩. RIP TINA TURNER Queen of Rock n Roll 🙏🏻

A must see to check the box on your bucket list. Not the most glamorous part of time. Always have trouble trying to find a reasonable parking place for a reasonable rate.
The Kodak Theatre is part of the walk and is a nice place to sit and relax. There are some options for lunch and drinks.

Great for tourist but leave before 3 otherwise you'll be stuck in LA traffic which is bumper to bumper from 3 to 6:30pm. Some sidewalks have homeless and less desirable smells. See your favorite stars use trader Joe's on vine for public restrooms.Restrooms. North and vine has public parking 4$ for 2 hours amaizing deal for parking ramp fees.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an iconic destination that lives up to its legendary reputation. Stretched along the bustling streets of Hollywood, this attraction is a tribute to the entertainment industry's brightest stars.
Walking down the sidewalk, you'll be surrounded by the names and symbols of some of the most celebrated actors, musicians, directors, and other luminaries. It's a stroll through the annals of Hollywood history and a testament to the enduring allure of show business.
What struck me most about the Walk of Fame is the sense of nostalgia and excitement it evokes. As you spot the stars bearing the names of your favorite celebrities, it's hard not to feel a sense of connection with the entertainment world. The opportunity to take photos with your beloved stars' stars is a highlight.
While the Walk of Fame is often crowded, it's worth navigating through the throngs of fellow admirers. The street performers and costumed characters add to the lively atmosphere, creating a unique blend of entertainment and culture.
One thing to remember is that the area around the Walk of Fame is quite touristy, and you'll find plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions. It's a great place to experience the energy of Hollywood, but also be prepared for the typical tourist scene.
In conclusion, the Hollywood Walk of Fame is a must-visit spot for anyone exploring Los Angeles. It's a chance to walk in the footsteps of the stars and immerse yourself in the glitz and glamour of the entertainment world. It's a reminder of the dreams and legends that continue to shape Hollywood.

It's definitely underwhelming, but worth a quick stroll through (an hour is enough). The homeless population is a big issue and they have severe mental health issues. Please ignore them for your own safety.

It was good to see it. I expected more but it was cool. About 30 minutes to walk it from end to end. Good vibes in the streets and plenty of street food options. Make sure to try it!
Parking is hard to find. We parked at the beginning of the street in a public car park for 25$ for 2 hours (they also do full day for 35$).

Love it here, easy parking to find . I enjoyed the
date time View it’s more for family that have kids. During the daytime there’s a lot of things to do with the family . The nightlife here it’s OK to bring your kids but it will be overcrowded with a lot of adults. The nightlife is so much fun so many things to do I will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Full of people.
Full of souvenirs shops.
Full of homeless. Some parts smell really bad.
Chinese theater is awesome.
The Dolby is a landmark itself.
Of course, the stars in the walkboard are nice to see. Nothing special to me, but a lot of people find them amazing.

What can I say.. it’s crowded, people constantly trying to sell you their music, food, water, shirts. There’s a few stores around and restaurants. If you want to take a picture of a star you have to rush. It’s a once in a life time to me anyway. Sad to see all the homeless people around there which make the experience less than great.

A must do for your 1st time visit to Hollywood… I myself have been there a few times but finally was able to walk this strip… Wear comfortable shoes… I prefer the morning times 10am… Less foot traffic and not as hot. You have time to look for at each Star without bumping into people. Have a few $ for cool souvenirs and follow the map!

Off course, a must visit place of you are in LA, but is does not mean a nice and comfort spot to spent time. It is a very long street with thousands of Hollywood iconic names on the floor.
I expect the place is a nigh class and we'll maintain, but no, it is just a street with a lot of souvenirs shops. The areas a bit dirty though.
The good part, you can take picture of Hollywood sign from distance from on of the shopping mall.

Hollywood Walk of Fame is popular Hollywood sidewalks emblazoned with stars & celebrity names since 1960's.
It is near to Griffith Observatory where the famous Holywood sign and the beautiful sunset from the movie LaLa Land can be enjoyed.
As there are many homeless people around the area, I recommend the sightseeing in the day time or near the place where movie theaters are.

This was the first time doing the walk of fame with the family. We went to see Tupac and Dr. Dre's stars. Be aware that this place is filled with unhoused and can get a little scary for the light hearted, but overall was a cool experience.

Walking along the Hollywood Walk of Fame was a fascinating experience, offering a glimpse into the entertainment industry’s history. The diverse array of stars, from actors and musicians to directors and fictional characters, highlighted the industry’s broad impact. Street performers added to the lively atmosphere, making it a must-visit for anyone interested in entertainment history. Finally seeing Betty White’s star was a personal highlight, adding a touch of nostalgia to an already memorable stroll.

This is my first time checking out the Walk of Fame. It’s one of the most iconic places in LA and there are many celebrities and actors on the stars. Just be careful of people in costumes trying to get you to take a picture as those are tourist scams. Definitely a must see in LA!

I came here to see what the big deal is. It was surreal to see a place with such cultural significance. I would never return but it’s cool to see it at least once. I don’t have any special reverence for any celebrity. I simply came here because it’s a tourist attraction and I thought it would be fun.

Can’t visit LA without stopping at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It was my first time there and I’m not going to lie, I was highly disappointed. It was very dirty and there were homeless people everywhere. I’m so mad at myself for not visiting years ago when it was most likely cleaner. I did like seeing the stars and it kind of felt like a scavenger hunt trying to find names I recognize. But honestly, I would not recommend.

I had a fantastic time visiting the Hollywood Walk of Fame! The iconic stars on the sidewalk, each representing a legendary figure in the entertainment industry, were truly impressive. It was a bit crowded, but the energy and excitement of the place were contagious. I enjoyed taking photos and strolling down the boulevard, trying to spot my favorite celebrities' stars. It's a must-visit attraction for anyone interested in the history of Hollywood and the entertainment world.

Very cool, classic Hollywood scene.
There’s plenty of free street parking as well as paid parking lots nearby. The stores are fine and definitely overpriced but this is to be expected. Some homeless people around but they don’t bother anyone. I never felt unsafe.

Located atop Mount Lee in Griffith Park, the Hollywood Sign is a world-famous symbol of the entertainment industry that offers impressive views from official viewpoints. If you have the time, make sure to stick around for both sunset and dusk at Griffith Observatory, which is a fun experience to witness.
After having lunch and the Beachwood Cafe (highly recommended!!!) we went for a great walk up to the Hollywood sign.
It was a warm day however was well worth the truck up. You can’t get up in front of the sign but you can get up right behind the sign. There are ample opportunities for you to take photos on the way up where the sign is very clear. If you could do it I would say go all the way to the top, the view is absolutely rewarding and it is 360°
We passed several people however the walk up is not crowded. Make sure you bring lots of water on a hot day!

Spent about 4 hours hiking from Bronson parking lot and back. The view was amazing but it’s super host despite being February. We hiked to the view point, then back to take the trail up to Mt Lee summit.
The summit was definitely worth the hike. The view was not as touristy as the viewpoint but I liked it because there are less people and it’s a great exercise. The view up north is great too!

The Hollywood Sign is an iconic symbol of the entertainment industry and the city of Los Angeles. Located on Mount Lee in the Hollywood Hills, the sign is a landmark that has been featured in countless films, TV shows, and photographs over the decades.
Despite its popularity, the Hollywood Sign is not always easy to reach. Visitors can hike to the sign from various starting points, but the trails can be steep and challenging, particularly in hot weather. Nevertheless, the hike is worth it for the breathtaking views and the opportunity to stand in the shadow of such an iconic symbol.

Park at Griffith Observatory to hike to the Hollywood sign, free parking in the morning until maybe 10AM if I remember correctly. Trails are VERY POORLY marked, better have a good sense of direction, not many places to stop to pee so you have been warned....I suppose must people have cell phone navigation but I am not in the 21 century yet. A large portion of land near the sign was added to the park thanks in part t a rather large donation from the Hugh Hefner Foundation.

Always plan ahead of visiting during weekend as parking is limited.
I suggest to park down and opt for a free shuttle.

You may hike if you like to hike, there are plenty of different beautiful hikes.

AMAZING 5.1 mile round trip, out-and-back hike to the top of the Hollywood Sign. Must mention that the last 1/4 mile or so really winded us, but wife and I are both 70 years old, and we made it! We began at the Innsdale Trailhead, and there was plenty of on-street parking available on this weekday morning.
Prepare yourself with trail maps, as there are a couple "hidden" turns along the path which he was well aware of. I've attached a few photos, one of which shows the switch-back trail below and in the distance that we hiked as we headed to the top. You can do it!
This was the highlight of outdoor activities we did while on our week-long Los Angeles vacation.

Hiked on 12/12/21 via Brush Canyon Trail. Moderate uphill 6.5 mile out and back. Uphill climb most of the time, well maintained trail, no shades, bring plenty of water, can get hot in the middle of day. Free parking, parking lot A (bigger) and parking lot (B) small and closer to trail. Beautiful view of LA on top of Mt Lee.

Amazing view of Hollywood sign from Griffith Observatory
What’s amazing about the Hollywood sign is the fact that it’s right in people’s backyard. You drive through neighborhoods to get there then wonder how it would be having so many tourists driving through your neighborhood. It was just plain old fun being there.

I was there last summer, and i can tell you the view is perfect. Google maps navigated me by the longer route, but luckily i find the shortest path there.
Trail duration was about an hour walking at my speed. I entered trail on Mullholland highway.
Easily acessible by car, and even metro. You can drive by metro till north hollywood, and then enter the Beachwood Canyon Dash, and he will drive you right to the hill.
Equipment needed: lot of water, drinks, bcs air is dry, and that's it.
You can see Los Angeles like your hand, and Pasadena on the way there.
There is a little photos from jurney.
Griffith Observatory is a popular attraction in Los Angeles with stunning panoramas of the city and surrounding area. The observatory sits atop Mount Hollywood and offers free public telescopes for viewing the stars. It is also home to a planetarium and exhibition space, which hosts monthly star parties for visitors to ask questions about astronomy.
What a nice park. The observatory is perched on top of Mount Hollywood with easy parking and free at the observatory if one arrives early and on a weekday before 12am. Wow! The Hollywood sign is visible from the observatory. What! Hiking down the mountain is easy but going up isn’t so easy so keep that in mind. Bring water and comfy hiking shoes. Great place

It was good. The views are great from outside and the exhibits and displays inside are really great. They are interactive and fun to engage with. The staff was very knowledgeable and courteous. My one complaint is that they didn't open until noon. A later opening is understandable, but not until noon. There were a couple hundred people waiting around outside for them to open. In the summer time, a 9 or 10 opening seems more than reasonable. Overall, good experience.

Amazing, educational & a must see in LA. This is our first trip to California and this was our first stop. Parking can be an issue though.
We drove up through the Hollywood Hills to Griffith around 5pm. Once there, we drove to the top in search of a parking spot. We found one near the top but all the nearby meters were broken. 🤷♂️
We walked around, took pics of the Hollywood sign, looked at the amazing exhibits inside, & watched 2 shows. Side note: "Signs of Life" costs ($10 adults, $8 teachers/students/seniors, kids 5-12 are $6, kids under 5 are free) but is a MUST SEE. You need to arrive 15 min before your show.
When we go again, I'd get there a little earlier. We missed the telescope. 😞 (The telescope closes at 9:30) Oh well, next time. Can't wait!

I visited Griffith Observatory during the mid-Autumn festival, hoping to catch a glimpse of the moon. Unfortunately, the evening was cloudy, and the moon remained elusive. However, my disappointment quickly turned into delight as I explored the fascinating world of nighttime science at the observatory.
The Griffith Observatory, perched atop the hills of Los Angeles, offers an exceptional experience for both astronomy enthusiasts and casual visitors. Despite missing out on lunar views, there was so much to see and learn inside. The planetarium shows were captivating, shedding light on the mysteries of our universe, and the interactive exhibits provided hands-on learning experiences that were both entertaining and educational.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the telescopes on the observatory's terrace. Even though the moon was hidden from view, the knowledgeable staff was more than willing to guide visitors through the night sky, showcasing stars, planets, and other celestial wonders. It was a unique opportunity to connect with the cosmos and appreciate the beauty of the universe.
The observatory's location is also a treat in itself. The panoramic views of Los Angeles from the terrace are breathtaking, especially at night when the city lights twinkle below. It's a serene escape from the bustling urban life of LA.
While I couldn't fulfill my moon-gazing dreams that night, my visit to Griffith Observatory was a memorable and enriching experience. It's a place that not only ignites curiosity about the universe but also offers a serene retreat to contemplate the mysteries of the cosmos while enjoying the captivating science of the night.

Parking can be challenging, but if you drive up to the observatory a few hours after they open you can still get a spot on the side of the mountain. It's about a 20 minute trek up, so make sure to bring a hat, water and good walking shoes. We only spent an hour there, but it was really cool to see the breathtaking views, Hollywood sign and LA spread out before us.

A must-see California landmark, with a lot of opportunities to learn. The exhibits inside are always worth a look. When I was there, it seemed to have plenty of parking and it wasn't very crowded, but it still required at least an extra 20 - 40 minutes to account for parking and finding your way. Be sure to take in the sights and enjoy the outdoor area - in addition to the building and exhibits itself. You won't find too many better views in the L.A. area - day or night.

Beautiful park and view. On a clear day, you can see all the way to downtown LA, and the Hollywood sign too. This is one of my favorite places to go to in Los Angeles.
The Good:
—The views on all sides are absolutely breathtaking!
—You can see the Hollywood Sign on the right side up on Mt. Lee.
—You can park for free on West Observatory Road, West Canyon Road, and the upper parking lot by the Observatory on Monday through Friday from opening until 12:00 P.M. and on Saturday and Sunday from opening until 9:00 A.M.
—There are a lot of trails near there, and there are many ways to get a great workout.
The Bad
—Parking is $10.00 per hour in the upper parking lot and on roads near the Observatory anytime Monday to Friday after 12:00 P.M. and on Saturday and Sunday after 9:00 A.M.
—Currently, the buildings are only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Accessibility: there are some disabled parking spots in the parking closest to the Observatory, but it is still not a very short distance, be aware. If you can walk but have difficulty walking, I do recommend bringing your own wheelchair. Once you get up to the Observatory, there are ramps on both the left and right side of the Observatory to go inside of it and skip the stairs directly in front. The doors are propped open to get inside the Observatory, and there are elevators to get from the first floor up to the top of the Observatory, and a separate elevator to go down to the gift shop and separate exhibits. This place is surprisingly accessible. I did not see any wheelchairs here to rent, though. It is SUPER busy on the weekends, so if you want to skip some of the crowd, try to go during workday hours in the week.
Experience: this place is super cool and beautiful. There are incredible views from everywhere here, and the Observatory itself is amazing and educational. Even kids will enjoy this place! This is one of those must-see places in Los Angeles. 5 out of 5 stars!
Tip: no pets allowed inside the Observatory, but you can have your pet on a leash outside the Observatory.

A classic landmark with a beautiful view of both the city and the stars and a long, rich history behind it. They've shot everything from Rebel Without A Cause and The Terminator to Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Back To The Future here. If you go inside they have some awesome space and science exhibits (even a functional Tesla Coil!). If you stay outside, you can get some nice photos of the L.A. skyline as well as the Hollywood sign. Lots of great hiking trails all around too. Highly recommend everyone checking it out at least once, whether you're a tourist or a native. You're bound to find something you enjoy.

From the moment we approached the iconic building perched atop the Griffith Park hills, we were captivated by its grandeur. The architecture itself is a masterpiece, evoking a sense of timeless elegance that made us feel like we had stepped into a scene from a classic Hollywood movie.
The highlight of our visit was, without a doubt, the awe-inspiring view of the cityscape and the glittering night sky from the observatory's terrace. As the sun set on the horizon, the city lights began to twinkle like stars below us, creating a surreal ambiance. It was a surreal feeling that transported us right into the iconic scene from the Terminator movie, where the observatory played a pivotal role in the plot.
In conclusion, our visit to the Griffith Observatory was an unforgettable experience that left us feeling inspired and enlightened. The blend of science, history, and breathtaking views was truly exceptional, and we can't wait to return

The building of the observatory itself is such an elegant architecture situated up on the hill of Hollywood, plus the story of Mr. Griffith, this is definitely a must visit place when you are in LA downtown area.
Meanwhile, this is also the perfect location to appreciate the night view of the Great LA metropolitan area, just utterly beautiful.

I love to come here and just walk around as a place in LA to explore. What’s great is that there are trails for us to walk here if you love to hike that are close as well.
In any case, the Griffith Observatory is a free place to come to whether if you love to have a friend to explore with, by yourself, and just looking for something to do, or want to go on a date with someone without spending a lot of money.
The views are nice and usually there are a great amount of parking, which is better of course if you are coming over a weekday versus the weekend.
Long story short, come on and check it out if you haven’t already done so because it is a fun, free place for people to come to. (unless you were going to check out the other movies that they have and which you will have to pay a ticket for)
Until soon !!

Definitely worth going to at least once. Beautiful views, nice exhibits (the weigh yourself on various planets was pretty neat) and the planetarium show was very lovely. live narration with a very soothing voice - dangerously close to putting me to sleep if it were not so fascinating.
Highly recommend either taking transit ride share to the top or you can just hike to the top - parking situation is ugly close to the observatory. Get there early - the more the day goes on the more crowded it gets.

A beautiful building located in a scenic location. It was raining and foggy the entire time we were there so couldn't get the sprawling view of LA this time around. However, it was still worth a visit with a beautiful interior dome and quite a few exhibitions to look at..There are more options if you buy a ticket.
Consider using the free Dash bus services instead of going through the hassles of finding parking here, which is quite limited

Took the scenic hike up the trail and was surprised at how empty it was. I recommend it over driving, from Hollywood or through the golf course it takes around 30mins and you avoid the parking hassle and the people. It was called the Boy Scout trail. The view is splendid and the museum seems nice, but very busy during the weekend

What can you say, the GO is iconic on a number of levels. It's much larger than I expected and the displays are very interesting. My wife and sons saw one of the planetarium shows and they thoroughly enjoyed it. I stayed out on the upper terrace enjoying the unbelievable night view of the city and surrounding area. It'd be nice if the parking system was better but I guess you can only stuff a finite number of cars on a mountaintop. Recommended!

Los Angeles " Observatory" Center
Griffith Observatory Center
Hollywood, California
I have toured this place for many years, (since the 80s), and every time I go their, this place amazes me. The view here is heavenly. It is on top of the Hollywood mountain or Hill.
Please take your good camera with you, there's a lot to see and remember.
You will be able to see or observe the Stars above through a big long telescope, also you will observe the city of Los Angeles for miles long.
Very close by is the Griffith Park, The Los Angeles Zoo, and more.
While you're their, check out the ⭐✨ Stars Walk on Hollywood Blvd. And Universal Studios is a couple of minutes away from their.
Enjoy your tours and be safe!!

Excellent place to visit, don't be put off by the seeming 'big' queues, the queues move quickly and it's worth the wait.
Parking can seem like a chore, you can park on the side of the road leading up to the Observatory or drive up to the top. Either way you'll pay $10/hr to park, This sounds a lot but it actually keeps the place 'moving' and prevents people parking all day 👍
If you don't want to hike up the hill just join the queue for the Car Park at the top, you won't wait long to get up there and get a Parking space 😉
As for the Observatory, it is really good 👍😎 great views across LA from its many Balconies and Terraces, the main part is free to visit and has some great exhibits.
Well worth a trip 😎

A great place -if not the best to watch sunset in LA. You can have a great view of downtown LA and the city, as well as the sun setting behind the Hollywood sign! There usually is a lot of people coming to see the sunset, so be sure to be there pretty early if you want some good parking spots, not too far. It is very crowded, but it's cool. Plus, inside is a pretty cool exhibit explaining various astronomy and space exploration techniques, so it's very instructive. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a spot to watch sunset in LA, not too far from the city.

This place was beautiful! So many hiking trails and beautiful views of the city and surrounding areas and not too crowded. The terrains are steep but nice and clean and whole are pretty well maintained. But man the view was spectacular at the observatory hands down.

We hiked up from the Dell Nature Trail, short hike up the hill, great way for the observatory to slow come into view as you hike up the hillside. Steep in some areas but the kids were up ahead and made it no problem.
The observatory is outstanding and worth it to visit. It can be busy, but it is L.A., would be strange if it wasn't. Has big capacity and there was lots of exploring to do.
Did the hike up to the lookout points as well, amazing views of the city up there. We were up during the day time, would be great in the evening too.

This should be where you start your hiking adventure when visiting Los Angeles. The panoramic views from the summit are stunning and the entire family can take part in this fun exercise. And yes, there is that boring old Observatory if you have enough energy left to visit after hiking. Parking is limited near the Observatory and your best bet is to park in the Greek Amphitheatre parking lot and take the free bus up.

This is a wonderful place to visit. There are so many informative displays and it is just pleasant to walk around both inside as well as outside. The views from here are amazing and you can get some great photos of the surrounding hills and the Hollywood sign. I visited for the first time a few weeks ago and I would highly recommend it. My friend and I stayed an hour and had a nice time walking around.

It's worth parking lower down, there is a lot of congestion in front of the upper car park. Or there is a free bus from the city. The view is stunning, the cafe is good, you don't have to wait long for the telescope. The telescope is open from 7-9:30pm.

It’s a classic and historic destination. It’s free entry and interesting exhibits. From observatory has beautiful views over Los Angeles and mountains. The architecture and views are wonderful. It’s a perfection match for science, nature and architects. Limited parking on top. Many trails nearby.

While I did not go in the building, this site was truly breathtaking. I’m a wedding photographer and visited this landmark for a session with a couple and it was absolutely stunning. I really think it’s one of the best views of Los Angeles and highly recommend visiting just for the views outside and nice short walking trail. I can’t wait to go back!

The observatory is a beautiful park which has an amazing view of LA sunset. However, the crowd felt really overwhelming and took out a lot of the enjoyment for me. The parking lot gets filled so fast we decided to take the parking lot further than the one by the observatory, the walk wasn't too bad. Perhaps the influence of La La Land is too strong but I'm glad I got to go at least once.

Don’t drive up there but take the hike up instead! Take the Firebreak trail . The hike is short. About 1.7 mile but don’t let it fool you! It looks so close and near by from the bottom! It us very steep with angle about 70-90 at certain spots! When you are near the top , you can turn right and lead you to the observatory or left to see the Hollywood sign! A Los Angeles icon and a must for all tourist!!view of downtown and surrounding is a marvel!!!
The Los Angeles County Arboretum is a large botanical garden and arboretum located in Arcadia, California. It is one of the sister gardens of the Huntington Botanical Gardens. The gardens contain over 1,200 different types of plants from around the world, as well as many animal habitats. The grounds are sprawling and feature wandering peacocks and a Queen Anne cottage.
I have always liked the Arcadia Arboretum and especially the peacocks. Our son recently gave us a membership so that we can go year round. The grounds are great although it is a little early for the rose garden. Everything is in a great variety. The normal entry $15 charge is very reasonable and the memberships quickly pay for themselves.

I LOVE this arboretum! What a wonderful experience. And the little cafe is a great place to get a snack and a cup of coffee and watch the peacocks in the trees. Lots of great gardens to walk through and take in all the sights and smells. Parking was easy. The coffee and lemon cake were delicious. If I lived closer I would consider getting a membership. I highly recommend this fantastic place.

My mother and I visited this botanical garden while we were staying in Arcadia. It was one of the best botanical gardens I have been to. The grounds were gorgeous and there were peacocks running around all over the place! We spent about two hours walking around and it was so nice and relaxing. If you enjoy outdoor activities, and are in the Arcadia area, definitely check out the Los Angeles County Arboretum!

Such an amazing place for a walk with family or the loved one.
Every inches of the garden is a beauty.
It took us almost an hour to drive from home but it was nothing after we entered the garden.
Loves the Peacocks "the guardian of the doors", LOL.
Tips:
- wear comfortable shoes
- buy tickets online!!

Been here twice, both visits were awesome. The house here is from a TV showed called Fantasy Island. The flora and fauna are not to be missed. The grounds are immense so wear comfortable shoes. The peacocks and peahens are plentiful. There is lots to look at and explore. Enjoy!

Beautiful park crawling with wildlife and captivating natural views. I love the waterfalls and rose garden the most. It’s spring so the animals are very active at this time and love to get close up to you. Be prepared for a lot of walking and heat but it is a perfect outing for the entire family!

It’s been a few years since I’ve been back and they have a couple of changes. For starters, the entrance is being remodeled so you now enter in the middle of the parking lot area. There are also some green houses that I do not remember seeing 4 or 5 years ago. It’s pretty nice.
I bought tickets a month in advance and picked a later time in the day. I am glad because the weather ended up being pretty hot! Going at 4pm was still sweat-inducing and there isn’t much shade.
What hasn’t changed are all the peacocks that roam around, needing to watch the ground so you don’t step on poo, and the water fall is still one of the main attractions!
There is a nice view at the top of the waterfall of the tree tops and mountains.
Queen Anne’s cottage is being renovated right now but we did see a cute turtle roaming around on the grass freely.
Didn’t get to take the tram this time but the grounds are very expansive. Be prepared to walk a lot! Bring water! It’s fun to explore though.

Perfect arboretum to study different plant families and native trees! It's a walk, so we dressed comfortably. There are two parking lots, so there is plenty of space. The peacocks are so sweet, and the cafe had great lunch options. Hopefully, the gift shop will open up soon for our next visit!

The LA County Arboretum is such a nice place to visit anytime of the year. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the Arboretum is always immaculate while maintaining its natural beauty. I love going and just meandering through the different areas amongst the peacocks, Canada Geese and other critters. Besides the amazing collection of flora, there ponds, waterfalls, sculptures and historical buildings & more to enjoy. It is definitely someplace that distracts me into a calm and content state. (At this time- The Arboretum participates in the Museums for All program and waives the typical cost of admission for anyone with proof of EBT benefits and photo ID and 1 guest)

A beautiful, fairly expansive and well-maintained park that also has Peacocks walkin around!!
It is a great place to spend a couple of hours.
I bought tickets online about 1 hour before going on a weekend.
The citrus and rose gardens are absolutely gorgeous in early spring (do not pick, just admire!).
Nothing very strenuous for the elderly or kiddos--all pretty flat and concrete paths.

Lovely, but not too many colorful gardens too see. I was expecting to see lots of different colored flowers.
There are lots of trees of all kinds, cactuses, maguey, etc.
Speaking of animals, we only saw ducks and peacocks.
$15 admission fee per adult (must be purchased online)
* we got to see a peacock pecking the front cars' tire, at the EXIT

We had our wedding here on 7/9/23 and we couldn't have asked for a better experience and a more beautiful venue. We had our ceremony in the gazebo on the Event Lawn, and the reception at the Peacock Cafe. We were able to take beautiful photos all around the arboretum.
Carlos and Nicole who run the on-site Peacock Cafe also take care of weddings, and they were AMAZING! Carlos helped us set up all the logistics and made sure everything we wanted was able to happen. Nicole made us a completely vegan menu (dumpling-based buffet( that was DELICIOUS! She was lovely to work with and we couldn't believe this was her 2nd-ever vegan wedding. Everyone raved about the food!
Altogether we were so happy with our experience here. Carlos and Nicole are incredibly kind and are excellent at their jobs. They also helped us secure a wonderful DJ and helped us plan a beautiful wedding while staying in budget. The whole staff at the Arboretum made the night go amazingly smoothly. I couldn't recommend them enough!

Lovely gardens to wander around during the daytime. Plenty of things to see. Parking is free and can get kind of packed so getting here earlier is better. You can buy tickets online or at the door. The arboretum often hosts events like wedding pictures so you might come across a neatly dressed group. There are some nice themed gardens to walk through, and there is a variety of wildlife such as turtles, peacocks, and ducks to enjoy. It’s a big park and worth coming back again. If you’re grabbing a snack or a drink nearby this is the perfect afternoon detour. Definitely recommend!

Less expensive than the Huntington Gardens and so worthwhile! Fantastic wildlife, vista views, and beautifully landscaped lawns. The garden/lawn with native flora was stunning with all the blooming poppies. The parking was full when we arrived, but we found parking down a side street, accompanied by plenty of peacocks showing off. We did not buy tickets in advance, although you can if you like. Thank you, LA Arboretum - can’t wait to visit again!

We had a lovely 2 hour walk through the whole arboretum, taking our time. It has different sections with different types of plants, a coach barn, a beautiful home, and even an old train station (we unfortunately were too late for the museum). Very calm place. Saw plenty of peacocks, and they even hung out in the parking lot and the nearby neighborhoods. We bought our tickets online morning of but I'm not sure we even needed too. On a nice day, parking is a bit iffy. We had to drive around the lot a couple times and wait for someone to leave to get a spot.

Scenic 1-mi. hiking loop with huge rock formations to climb & views of Joshua trees & desert areas.
Make this the last spot of the day. As the sun sets, the rock cliffs burn orange fire! With shadows on the other parts, it makes for an amazing experience - not to mention some beautiful pictures. The trail is easy, about a mile. You'll see lots of rock climbers tackling different surfaces, it is fun to live through them. 😉

We’ve been to 4 or 5 hikes in Joshua tree now and happy valley is one of our family favorites. It’s an easy 1 mile loop, although our hike turned into about 1.5 miles due to the amount of climbing we did. This is such a fun hike with so much variety in what you see and can do. There’s limitless possibilities in bouldering.
Our two kids, ages 10 and 12, loved climbing and exploring. We saw families with toddlers who were running and climbing off steam.
Try and get there early as the parking lot tends to fill up by 10. We got there at 10:30 and we’re lucky someone was leaving. The rangers were redirecting people to another lot when we left at 12:30.
There are pit toilets and many picnic tables for lunch at the parking lot. Easy drive in and out as well. Take sunscreen and water and enjoy the peace and calm of Joshua Tree!

All Trails: 1.34miles, 118ft elevation gain, 56 mins.
This is awesome trail! Not too difficult and saw two park volunteers hiking as well and they were very knowledgeable. Lots of prickly pear cacti which I loved! Tons of places to do some boulder climbing or watching the real rock climbers 😅
There is no shade! Bring sunscreen, more water than you think you need (1L/hour/person), and layers.
A bunch of variety of cacti and we found the “throne” of hidden valley 😂
Have lunch at the picnic area after your hike!
This is a very busy attraction! We arrived at 9:50am and got what seemed to be the last parking spot. Left around 12:30pm and there was a ranger at the entrance not allowing people to enter.

I loved this "trail." It really isn't a trail, more of a gentle walk through nature. It is short, well-marked, and doesn't have much in the way of elevation gains/declines. So if you're looking for a true hike, look elsewhere.
That said, this little walk packs a ton of beautiful sights in a really small area. You're sort of in a bowl here, with rocks surrounding you on all sides. Inside the bowl there are really interesting rock formations all around you, and the flora here is very different than you see in most other areas of the park. Apparently this area is a bit of a microclimate due to it's geological features, and there are tons of signs throughout the park explaining the reasons for this. It is an amazing combination of easy walking, beautiful scenery, and signs containing really good information about what you're seeing. The one downside is this was the most crowded area I saw in the park with the exception of Skull Rock, so you will be sharing the trail with hundreds of people. But unlike Skull Rock and some of the other crowded areas of the park, the crowds here didn't really bother me.
This was the highlight of the park for me, without a doubt. Although there are other hiking trails I'd recommend over this one, there is no other attraction in the park I'd recommend more highly.

Easy hike (1 mile loop trail). We went there early ~ before 9am and easily found the parking lot. Would recommend to arrive early to avoid the traffic… saw long line cars waiting to enter the gate on the way back.
This hike is suitable for families, mostly flat, rocks for kids to climb (not dangerous). Be aware of the cold. It was end of Dec when we were here and we wish we would have worn beanie and gloves.

We got here early after turning away due to crowds the day before. Nice quick early morning hike with great light and fun views of rock climbers. As with every spot in the park, this gets filled up and parking becomes very difficult. We took the opposite direction on the loop and it was nice having folks pass us in the opposite direction rather than following or being followed.

Hidden Valley trail was recommended to me by a ranger at the Visitors centre. I arrived later in the afternoon and wanted to 'see it all in a short time before the sun went down'. This trail delivered.
The trail is a loop that starts at the carpark and makes it around a relatively easy area within the park. You get the see the best of Joshua Tree national park.
The Joshua trees are very unique and unlike any other trees that I have seen elsewhere. The fact that there are SO many of them and ONLY them is a really cool sight to see.
This track will take you around some very interesting rock structures that are unique to the park. Depending on the time of day, you may see amateur and professional rock climbers taking up the challenge.
The park can get HOT in summer so be sure to take more water than what you think you will need and stick to the track.

There aren’t too many Joshua trees on this one but the rock formations and various cacti are cool. A bit chilly in October in the shade. The wind was also blowing hard. A great first introduction trail to Joshua Tree NP.

As you drive up and see a few dozen cars, you think "yeah... Hidden... Riiiggghhhtt" (sarcasm). But then you get it and start going down the paths that break off everywhere, seeing hikers, people rappelling, and kids playing on rocks on to of rocks. Then you climb the rocks and see the amazing view, truly a Hidden Valley. 🤩😍

Cactus-filled area in Joshua Tree National Park that's viewable from a flat loop walking trail.
Definitely worth visiting to see the glowing cholla cactii stretching out for miles around you. It's suggested to visit this garden at sunrise, but the view was just as good at midday when we visited. Be very careful to not get too close - the cactus spines will attach themselves to your clothes at the slightest contact, and will not want to let go - I speak from experience.

So stunning at sunset. Great view for star gazing as well. 🫶🏻 great place to stop by at Joshua tree park

My first time to look at the Cholla Cactus! What an exotic and mystic beauty!!
**Never touch or step on the Cholla!**
It is indescribably hurting!!!!! Watch your step while not on the wooden trail.

One of the most magical places on this planet. You see nature's magnificent work at its best. Hundreds and thousands of cholla cactus standing proudly in the windy air of Joshua Tree National Park.
The best time to visit is during sunset or sunrise when the entire place is cast with the golden light of the desert sun. Now, be careful to keep a safe distance from these 'teddy bear' cacti and don't try to wander off the trail.

If you’re going anywhere in Joshua Tree, make sure you add the Cholla Cactus Garden to your list! We went a little before sunset and it was perfect because you could see the Cholla start to glow more and more as the light dims. Incredible experience and pretty easy to find parking around 5pm.

Went at sunrise and it was totally worth it. Amazing views. The golden fiery look is unlike any other. Worth the morning drive!

I have mixed feelings about the Cholla Cactus Garden. On one hand, the chollas are absolutely stunning and unlike any other cactus I've seen before. But on the other hand, they're incredibly dangerous. One wrong move and you could end up with a painful and difficult-to-remove cactus spines stuck in your skin. I always try to be extra careful when I'm around them, but I still have nightmares about accidentally falling into a chollas.

Really a pretty place to stop in Joshua Tree National Park! The sun hitting the cacti was so pretty and the colors are lovely. They're serious when they say don't touch them though, the spines will really stick you. We loved visiting.

A cute small looped trail, perfect for the family. It does feel far from the other trails and attractions at Joshua Tree.

Good trail to wonder in the desert and admire this amazing plants. It may get bit too hot during summer or during afternoon. I would suggest carrying a small water bottle just in case. Also, please do not touch the plants as thorns are sharp and can hurt.

Beautiful forest of interesting cacti. Short loop through the garden. Good secluded stop towards the southern side of the park.

It was beautiful. Make sure to be before because of parking and because the glowing starts just before the sun touches the cactus. If the sun touches the cactus directly pictures aren’t going to be so good.

Beautiful specially in the evening around sunset. The unique plants in the nature. They have limited parking. Make sure you don’t go off the trail/wooden path. The thorn are dangerous and can give you a lot of trouble. So avoid touching or stepping on them. They penetrate through shoes and clothes as well.

This is my FAVORITE spot in Joshua Tree National Park!!
This 0.2 mile flat loop is gorgeous, fascinating, and mesmerizing garden full of Cholla (Choy-ya). I would go at sunrise or sunset because the Cholla look like they are glowing and it’s so magical!
This is a must stop!!
Parking is minimal. We got there at 7:20am and the parking lot was half full.

Cholla Garden is a mesmerizing enclave that transports you to a different planet, offering an unparalleled experience unlike any other place in California. To catch the breathtaking sunrise, an early start is essential, with a recommendation to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
Spending a minimum of an hour in this enchanting landscape allows you to capture the captivating transformation of colors in the surroundings – before, during, and after the sunrise. Each moment presents a unique palette that makes for stunning photographs.
While navigating through the cactuses, it's crucial to walk with caution. The spikes on these plants are akin to a formidable machine, easily attaching themselves to clothing and causing significant discomfort. Despite this prickly challenge, the awe-inspiring beauty of Cholla Garden makes the experience well worth the early wake-up call and careful exploration.
Ksenia Postolnik — Google review
Amazing place to visit. There's so much cholla that you can just keep walking. Just be careful not to get lost as the parking lot does disappear as you walk further in. There are a bunch of cactus balls on the floor that can cling into you. The wind can blow needles onto you as well. If you stay on the trail provided, you will be okay. If you go off it, just make sure you don't get prick. I didn't see any bees when I was there in late March during the day. There were lizards and birds flying around.
Steven Bui — Google review
This place is amazing. One of the best spots on the Joshua Tree National Park. It’s the first place we went to. It’s a beautiful garden of cactuses. You can walk around and take pictures. Be careful with little kids as there are a lot of fallen cactuses on the ground and you could easily get hurt.
Raghavendra Aditya M — Google review
Gorgeous little cactus garden! Take the quarter mile loop and enjoy seeing sweeping views of the valley. Parking might be tight during busy times of year, but also not very busy closer to sunset (when we went) it’s worth it!

Well worth stopping here to walk the path and see (and take photos, esp during sunset or sunrise). Pronounced "choy-ya" (NOT cho-la). Could spend 15 - 60 mins here depending on how much time you want to take photos
The Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, also known as Hoover Dam Bridge, is a remarkable engineering feat spanning the Colorado River between Arizona and Nevada. The four-lane highway bridge stretches 1,500 feet long and stands at an impressive height of 890 feet above the river. It boasts of the world's tallest concrete columns and holds the title for being the highest and longest arched concrete bridge in the Western Hemisphere.
If you're in the area, be sure and check out the Hoover dam. It was very fun walking across the large bridge and taking photos of the edge. There's a short set of steps that will take you up to the bridge. I counted them and it was 69 steps. They even have ramps. If you can't do the steps. Neat place to go see. Very peaceful and wonderful views.

Wow! I have been wanting to see this bridge and view since I moved away from Arizona many years ago!
What an amazing view of Hoover Dam!!!
And looking straight down to the Colorado River is a bit frightening!!!
Parking is totally free, but you do have quite a few stairs to climb to get to the bridge.
There are a lot of influence plaques on the building of the bridge and who it is named after.
You can walk all the way across. I just wish there was an Arizona sign to take a picture with. Looks like they wanted to continue the walk, but it is blocked.
You can easily add this to your trip without driving the rest of the way to Hoover Dam.
When you drive over the bridge, you will not even know you are driving near the dam!

If you want the most absolutely incredible photos of the Hoover Dam then you have got to stop here. It’s free first off so that’s a plus, and it’s a short walk up to the top. Thankfully they have both stairs and ramps to make it earlier to access for everyone. Absolutely breathtaking views for as far as you can see. An absolute must stop if you’re going to check out the dam.
Brian J — Google review
Great vantage point to view Hoover Dam. Just a short 10 minute walk from the parking area to the bridge. Be aware of some wind gusts from passing cars. Don't forget to look for the Nevada and Arizona border marker on the bridge, I missed it!
Nelson J — Google review
I honestly liked walking this bridge more than I did the dam. The sight from up here is magnificent.
The walk up is arduous, especially if you parked at the Hoover dam parking structure. I don't recommend the walk up for the physically challenged. If you have kids, be prepared to carry them if they tire easily.
They so have ramps for strollers and wheelchairs, it just takes a lot longer than taking the stairs, but still doable. I recommend having someone to help.
If you parked at the Hoover dam parking structure, getting to the parking lot of the bridge is not ADA friendly, but still doable.

Wow ! What a great view you get of the hoover dam from this bridge. Getting to the parking area is easy with good signage. There is only toilet facilities but no refreshments so do make sure to take plenty of liquid with you as there are a lot of steps, alternatively ramps to walk up.
Thank goodness there are seats on most levels. It can get extremely hot so don't forget the sun screen. It's a worthwhile trek but not easy if you have difficulty walking. There is plenty of informational signs and interesting plaques to read where you can take a breather along the way. Great photo opportunities here.

It was just amazing to watch. Finally got to go up there a few years ago and omg! I literally had to hold my cell phone with both hands to keep it from flying off into the incredible winds that come across. Built in the 1930s, Hoover Dam is a hydroelectric power plant that provides electricity to residents of Las Vegas and the surrounding area. The dam's creation changed the landscape of the Black Canyon and provided scenic views of Lake Mead. Tours of the dam structure begin at the Hoover Dam Parking Garage & Visitor Center.
What a beautiful location. Wish I had more time but the views are breathtaking! Well cover more ground next time. Paid parking is on the left before the bridge. $10. Free parking is across the dam. I paid for parking since we skipped the visitor center.
1-07-2022 Tours are currently closed except for visitor center.

Iconic emblem of the American spirit and engineering ingenuity. A must-see when in the Vegas area.
You can easily spend a few hours here at the various lookouts and taking tours. Hadn’t been here in years so this time we saw the multi-level for a few parking garage…great additional. There is also parking along the access road at various points and they’re connected by steps so you can walk your way down to the dam.
Highly recommend the visit!

Absolute marvel of engineering. Definitely worth the drive to go and see it. My family and I recently embarked on an excursion to the iconic Hoover Dam, and despite some unexpected twists, it was a memorable experience worth recounting.
The weather was windy, adding an extra element of adventure to our journey. Despite the gusts, we had a blast exploring the area together. However, we encountered a slight hiccup when we realized, albeit too late, that only service animals are permitted on the premises. Nevertheless, our husky seemed to relish his scenic walk, adding a touch of charm to our visit.
We made our way to one of the many lookout options, eager to immerse ourselves in the rich history and breathtaking views that awaited us. Pausing at the lookout, we took a moment to absorb a brief overview of the dam's history, marveling at the sheer magnitude of human ingenuity and hard work that went into its construction.
The panoramic vistas stretched before us, offering a glimpse into the past and reminding us of the remarkable feats achieved by those who came before us. From the towering structure of the dam itself to the serene beauty of the surrounding landscape, every aspect of the vista was a testament to human perseverance and determination.
Despite the minor setback with our furry companion, our visit to Hoover Dam was an unforgettable experience filled with awe-inspiring sights and cherished family moments. It served as a poignant reminder of the importance of both historical preservation and enjoying the simple pleasures of nature's beauty.

Hoover dam is one of marvellous modern structures you would see in the world and it was constructed in 1935. You will be astonished after learning more about the dam and its construction, which was a magnificent experience. Definitely recommend taking power plan tour ticket . A guide will accompany you as you explore and provide fascinating details about the dam. It was a great pleasure to tour the power plant and learn about the significance of this magnificent building. The cost of the power plant tour ticket is $15 per person. Near the dam, there is a souvenir shop, cafe, parking garage, and restrooms. Around the dam, there are a number of additional scenic vantage points.

We walked around the free views and exhibits until it was time for our tour. The 1 hour tour was worth it! Our tour guide Dan was great. It was so cool to see them work on one of the turbines. Amazing view and sights! I was surprised that I didn’t see any NCR or Legion forces at the Dam. This was my first time going there and it was very exciting. The area is well taken care of and can accommodate large number of visitors very efficiently. There is free parking up the hill on the Arizona side but a bit longer walk. Otherwise you will have to pay $10 to park. We did not do any of the tours just walked around and enjoyed all the free views. Visiting the bridge first I think is better. After the dam we were tired. Bring lots of water with you. Two adults and two children under twelve, decimated 6 bottles of water and we ended up getting dehydrated after 45 minutes. The views are spectacular and the walk a very mice one. My favorite site out west by far so far. It is worth the time. Visit the lake view last.

Did the $30 hour long tour of the powerhouse and dam. The tour is very simple, straight forward and dumbed down enough that the average 6th grader would appreciate it. The more questions you ask the more technical information you can get. It is worth the time and money to visit such an essential piece of American history.

If you love nature, you'd love these views. You can spend goes walkingthe trails here. Very peaceful and calming. Lots of people come here to visit, so be prepared to enjoy the views with others(lol).
There was no entry fee, but parking was $20, and because of the overwhelming amount of people parking can be a lot of riding around to get a spot. The restrooms were clean and the staff was nice and helpful. There are tons of photo opportunities, so take full advantage of that. They offer guided tours, so if you're into that, you can get tickets online.
There are so many great things to say about this place, but seeing is believing. If you get the opportunity to go, go, you'll love it!
There's a cafe, gift shop, and info center there as well.

This is my third time visiting and a first for my kids. It’s still just as magnificent and grand to see as the first time. Decided to come here early and I’m so glad I did. I definitely missed the crowd. I was going to upgrade to the Dam tour but changed my mind since I still had to head over to the Grand Canyon. The power plant tour was nice but short. They had us watch a mini movie about the making of the Dam which was informative and interesting. Then we were taken down to see the workings of the plant. And that was pretty much it. After that you can explore the grounds and take pictures (you can do this for free without paying for anything). You only pay if you park in the garage and lot 9. All other parking is free but you’d be pretty far from the main area. Those spots are best for picture taking only. I’d definitely recommend. It was well worth the trip.

The Legendary Hoover Dam. Complete with dam tours, a cafe, gift shop, visitors center, and more; it's a must-see. Standing over 720 ft high, the photos here are spectacular. Go early in the day. The dam picks up around 11 and doesn't slow down. Avoid the crowds by getting there around 9 or 10. Don't pay for parking unless someone in your group needs accommodation. The free parking on the Arizona side is a short walk. The free parking is also a short distance from the dam overlook and has its own gift shop, it's less crowded, and there's even an old pill box (machine gun nest) up there. The views are awesome.
The cafe prices are not bad for an attraction. Outside food and drink and prohibited to bring into the dam, but you can always have a private picnic up on the overlook with items you brought if you'd like.
Security will look in your car. And so they should. The entire southwest depends on the dams operations.
Check out the memorial bridge while you're there to get great photos of the face of the dam. It's a few stairs to get up there, but they're not bad, and there are also handicapped accessible ramps. You can also check out the Lake Mead overlook on your way out, which is stunning.
Tours for the power plant are $15, and the more intensive tour is $30 when available. The tours include a 10-minute video in their theater and a few elevator rides with other people on your tour. They will pack those elevators tight with people, but the elevator ride is only 70 seconds.
Restrooms are plentiful.
You can walk on top of the dam, take photos of the outside, and more for free. You only need to buy a ticket if you're going on a tour. There is a lot to see for free. Side note: we looked for the allspark and never found it.
Overall, the dam and the memorial bridge are truly a marvel and a must-see. It's budget friendly and jaw-dropping. Enjoy..

The $30 tour was a 2.5 hour wait so we did the $15 tour. We arrived at 9:00 am. When we left, the parking was full and they were turning people away so it’s best to get there early and get there first thing if you want to go on the $30 tour with no wait. They could sure use an update on the video. Seems like it’s about 50 years old.
Located in Laughlin, Nevada, Harrah's Laughlin offers delicious dining options and a wide variety of onsite amenities. The property also features a private beach and a casino. With rooms and suites featuring south-of-the-border decor, the hotel is perfect for any family vacation.
Our second home away from home.
Love this place.
The casino floor layout has changed a bit and the non smoking area has gotten smaller again.
So technically there is no longer a non smoking area with the other half of the old non smoking now a smoking area.

WOW the staff here makes our stays so pleasant. Dylan at the front desk has such a good attitude & has been super helpful every interaction we have with him. Andrew, Samantha, Anthony, Jeremy, Tammy & Dina at the bars have excellent customer service. They're so friendly & remember our drink order.
The staff at Beach Club & The Range always get our to go orders correct, I suggest the French Dip.
Some of the rooms could us an update but over all the rooms are clean. The gym is decent & the hot tub is open in the winter months. Location is a little removed from the main drag but a walk down the hill are the other casinos. The shuttle also runs to the Tropicana.
Free parking is another perk!!
The sunsets are beautiful, sometimes the mountains to the east turn pink during sunset. Very relaxing watching the birds hunting for fish in the clear blue water of the Colorado River.

You pay what you get for. Great if have a family on a budget. The elevators are horrible, it was take about 30 mins to get to your room from the casino floor. So be prepared especially if you have children. The hotel needs to put a security officer near the elevator. Tired and drunk people don’t mixed. We had to walk 10 floors of stairs to get to our room. Okay so room is GREAT for the price but we got lucky there. Waiting for the elevator every night sucked. ****Loved loved loved that there was an adult only pool with bar. Drinks are pricey everywhere. Beach was amazing except 118 dollars a day for palapa and 2 sun lounge chairs. Totally worth it but paying for shade because it's 116 seemed excessive... waitress from beach bar earned her tips. She had a hard job!!! She was nice. Won at slots. Our room ran out of toilet paper. That was weird. Slept great. Beds were nice and black out curtains worked great. They are older rooms but okay for what they are. We enjoyed our time despite the little things.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this resort. We were just there for 4 days and had a great time. We stayed in the South Tower and our room was clean and cool. The staff was attentive the whole weekend. Cocktails were fast, maybe the ones complaining should try tipping occasionally. The adult pool was fine. The kid pool and the beach looked crazy so we didn't go there. The Range was a great experience. A little pricey but worth it.

The rooms are hideous!! 1989 style and shredded drapes! The finish was gone on the coffee tables.... Just take them out along with the drapes!! Very few cocktail waitresses and not many jackpots going on. The best part was the steakhouse. This place is out in the middle of nowhere so be prepared to travel. I'll probably go back but I won't stay the night.

I upgraded to a suite which was spacious and comfortable and had an awesome view of the pool as well as the river. However they hadn't been updated since the 80s? The keys in the tub didn't work and the shower water took about ten minutes to warm up. At one point the water was turned off while my sister was brushing her teeth, with no warning. At least no one was soaped up in the shower! The restaurants were often closed or no one was at the counter. But I did have the best yoghurt parfait ever! The gambling was fun but no winner here! And the drink service was better than other casinos on the strip! The water taxi was only $5.00 and very convenient!

I am glad I booked with Harrah's and didn't listen to reviews. From the moment I checked in until check out I had the best time. I forgot the name of the front desk agent that helped me but she was a ray of sunshine. I got a room in the center tower with the river and pool view. The room was really clean and spotless, it's more than expected for an older hotel. The staff are really great and friendly. You will need reservations for their restaurants, just FYI, better make it ahead of time. Pool was open but it was freezing so I didn't get to utilize that. Overall, awesome experience!

Never had any real issues here except during one stay when a computer glitch put me in a different room but front desk fix it immediately.
Rooms in the North and Central tower are a little dated but comfortable to stay in. I always ask to stay in the south tower when possible cause the rooms are more modern and closer to the action down stairs.
They do have plenty of food options here which I like and I usually go with the Beach cafe as the prices are still reasonable during this weird year and food have always been a hit for me.
The Cocktail Servers are very nice and do bring drinks around in a timely manner. Only had one issue with one server that was standing and talking to another worker while her tray had drinks ready to be served. Beer was already warm when handed to me.
I do have some favorite servers and always try to sit in their section cause they always take care of me without issues.
overall I'll keep coming back and staying here for work cause staff are always friendly and I feel safe during my visits

We stayed a total of 4 nights. It was a sold out weekend so it was very busy. We stayed in the North tower which was awful!! For the entire tower, only 2 elevators were working. We were constantly waiting in long lines to get back into our room and even just to get down to the main floor was a nightmare. On top of that, our room keys “deactivated” 4 times. They said to be sure we weren’t keeping our key next to debit cards or electronics, and they still wouldn’t work.Imagine waiting in a 30 minute line just to get up to your room, only for your key not to work. Very frustrating. The staff were all very nice. I will never stay here again.

We always loved coming to Harrah's in Laughlin, but we hadn't been in several years. This time, we were really disappointed by the lack of amenities and lower quality of service. The valet (which used to be free) is now $10 a night...which isn't awful, compared to Vegas. The trouble was, the valet was marked "full" (when in reality it wasn't full at all, they just didn't have staff for it). I don't like being deceived in this way...I could clearly see that the valet wasn't full. The self parking garage is confusing to get to and isn't connected directly to the casino, meaning you have to walk a long way to get to the hotel. The parking garage elevators were slow or not working, so if we hadn't insisted on them taking our luggage out near the valet, we would have had to wrestle some large and awkward bags down stairs and all that distance. The self check in kiosks were not working, so so much for contact free check in.
The room itself looked very dated, with a giant wardrobe taking up valuable real estate. The air conditioning was cranked down to 60, but it was nearer to 75 and really humid in the room. The ice machine on our floor didn't work, even after reporting it several times to the front desk. Other guests reported the same thing on their floor. The whole hotel looks like it needs a serious makeover and rehab.
They have done away with the magnificent buffet they used to have, and the rest of the restaurant options are really nothing special. Decent food, but the only restaurant open for most of the day is the Cafe, and it's not spectacular. The Range Steakhouse was nice, but not worth the high price (except for the excellent service).
Gaming-wise, they have taken out a LOT of old, fun slot machines in the name of social distancing and replaced them with fewer ginormous, money-grubbing machines that are largely all the same. Very little playback to the customer on these, which doesn't make for a fun day of gaming. Many of the table games were closed during the day, and the ones that were open had too high of a minimum for the middle of the week. They used to have table games in the nonsmoking casino, but those are now gone and replaced with the ridiculous new slot machines, so if you want to play a table game in smoke-free comfort, you're out of luck.
We ended up spending more of our dollars at another casino this trip. I am hoping that when I return that at least some of the room problems will have been addressed (but I am not optimistic).
It's really a shame that this hotel has gone so downhill. Its sister property down the road was somewhat nicer with better service and food.

This is a casino, so it is what it is. They want your money and they will give you free drinks. As long as you were playing.. Booking in was very easy through my charter trip.. It is just that it is in the middle of nowhere and you have to take a ride to get anywhere.. Prices of course are outrageous for pops out of their little shops. They have 2 pools, one is a family pool. The other is the adult pool where they have the drinks. It was nice somewhat small, but if you were there early enough to get a chair, it was better. They provided the pool towels which were very big and thick.

Went to go celebrate 21 year anniversary with my husband. The room was dusty. It smelled musty like and old smell. Stains on carpet, ac didn't work has well. Only 2 elevators worked, the lines to get on elevator was long as if you are purchasing a lotto ticket. The elevator from the parking lot didn't work. Majority of the flooring was in such terrible condition. I'm surprised no one has hurt themselves. The stairs are not leveled. Terrible experience.

The hotel is in a great location and everything around looks beautiful and well kept. However, they need to freshen up their interior designs, it looks a little dated. I have been there several times in previous years, this time I found that they closed off the access to the beach at night time, and that used to be one of the best highlights of that hotel because they have a beautiful beach. It was so nice to sit at the shore of the river to have a drink or share a romantic moment. That was disappointing!

The hotel is at the end of the strip and looks great from the outside. 3 towers on the river front. It's not a straight drive to the hotel from the street. You will meander down the driveway. There are two parking garages and a small open lot. The valet was very helpful. I was "upgraded" to the center tower because one tower was closed for the season. The room was very dated. Carpet was dirty. Tub water barely drained. The sheer window curtain was shredded. The soft chair was shiny dirty. That's my best description, but definitely needed to be set out to pasture and burned. Two stars only because the valet was nice and helpful.

Rooms weren't as bright as they were in the pictures on their website. Not as clean as I thought it would have been as we found cigarette butts behind the TV and rappers underneath dressers, clearly visible. The floor was sticky in one area. Gaming was fun and the slots were a give and take. Room service was very very fast and efficient!!! I wish they would have more restaurants to choose from. The convenience store wasn't located at the top of the hill . Very inconvenient. There was an empty space where the convenience store must have been located previously in central tower. Doesn't seem cost-effective.

I will never set foot in a Ceasars property ever again. I was discriminated because I am Mexican American with a platinum rewards card (almost 💎. ) I earned this status in 3 weeks. First and only time I used the card to get a discount on a souvenir cup. Lady at the counter embarrassed me around other people. She accused me of trying to get a $3 discount that I didn't deserve because she said she didn't believe I had that kind of status. I showed her my card and ID. She was very rude and condescending. I walked out of there feeling like I was accused of robbing the place. It's sad that you have people like this working for you. I will spend my money and time at other casinos. Worst experience ever!

Did a bit of slot playing on Christmas Day before and after dinner at the Range Steakhouse. Not a good day for me on the slots watched other people play. Everyone was pleasant and in good moods. The Casino has a non smoking section, thank goodness! Smokers do have rights as well, I just find it hard to breathe in some casinos. The casino is clean and well managed! Masks are worn everywhere by everyone. I am on board with that! Mandated in Nevada. It was a great day.

Great get-away! We took the charter down and had a very enjoyable time. Our room was on 6th floor of the South Tower - The room had chaise lounge, table and chair and a king bed, coffee maker, mini fridge and it looked like it was recently updated, everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and the casino does have a non smoking section. The mattress was very firm but we adjusted. The is a shuttle that takes you to the Tropicana which is walking distance to the other casinos. The only negative was the lack of food choices and shopping. We will definitely go back!

Before I go down the road of why I think this is worthy of only one star, I want to sing praises to the bell staff, the valet team, the cocktail servers, and the front desk team who go above and beyond to make your experience the best it can be. If these teams were in a facility that was, well, something more 21st century, the rating would be significantly higher.
We traveled through this area to stay one night and even that was too much. We booked two rooms and based on the photos of the website, we thought this could be a nice hotel and a fun spot on our road trip but we were quickly disappointed. The first of our two rooms was available at 4pm but the second room wasn’t ready until after 10pm.
Both rooms were in the north tower and they made a motor lodge on the Jersey Turnpike seem better. The carpet and walls look as if they were recently cleaned after a crime and the rooms felt dirty.
No dresser, no fridge, and only one chair made the room uncomfortable and quite awkward… again, nothing like it appears on their website.
For $59 a night, it would be acceptable, but not for over $200 a night.
Other challenges:
- 3 of the 5 elevators were out of service.
- Boat dock was destroyed so no water taxi to other casinos.
Given the amount of disrepair of this resort, it makes one wonder if Caesar himself lost a bet to put their name on.
Again, if this staff was at a better facility, they could put the competition out of business

This is a dump!!! Shame on Harrah’s, this is NOT a resort! Dog fee of 85.00 for a small dog is absurd, when room rate advertised at 30.00. The placed smelled, and everything is old and the stench of cigarettes is nauseating. Forget eating at the cafe. Waiter was rude and unhelpful. The beef dip sandwich was dry and tasteless. Pizza kiosk was closed as well as Starbucks. This place should be leveled. Would not go back if it was free.

Same story as everyone else. Have been here 10 times over the last 25 years and loved it. Checked in early last week for 3 nights. The first room had not been cleaned by housekeeping, the second room had filthy furniture and a broken table, and the third room had furniture missing and smelled like urine. Heard it was taking 40 minutes to get a filthy elevator ride in the north tower. We gave up after that and checked out. Were told we would be refunded within 3-4 days, but after 11, we have not been yet. Too bad, it was always the best place to stay, although we did have a nice place at Aquarius a couple of trips ago. Other than that, most of the places are mediocre at best. We did however, end up at the Golden Nugget this trip for one night, and it was okay. Looking forward to the AI response to this. Bottom line, Laughlin is a beautiful place, but the companies running the hotels are destroying it.

Everything about this place screams family friendly. The staff is amazing. The grounds are top shape as it’s going to be for the age of the property. Restaurants are on point the suite is great and updated wonderfully and definitely enjoy the private beach and the two separate pools. I always recommend my friends and family to stay here

I love Harrah's and have been going there for a very long time. We were there a few weeks ago and I was shocked at how rundown the elevators and rooms have gotten. Our room was in pretty bad shape and we were in the central tower. Next time we go, we will stay in the south tower to get a renovated room. The curtains were torn in our room and the shower faucet was badly corroded. The bed was comfortable though. There were marks all over the walls and it still had that oversized wall unit from nearly 20 years ago. The elevators in the central tower were not in good shape and when you pressed a button, the entire section attached to the wall nearly came open. But like I said, I do love it here. The casino is good and The Beach Cafe is always wonderful. I just wish Caesar's would put some money into this place to return it fully to its former glory. We will be back - we will just try to avoid the dilapidated towers.

Changed 3 rooms checking in. Try not to be in center tower. Rooms are way out dated, stink, dirty, and the bathrooms are a big wow. Being in service industry i would be embarrassed. Male at front desk was amazing. It is a good thing I don't have 3rd degree burns from the shower that can't be controlled. I was on 2 different floors and same story in the entire tower.

So we received a free 4 day trip and as the saying goes "you get what you pay for!" The 29th we checked in and went up to our room in the central tower. Went in and noticed that the mattress looked and felt like it had been there since day one! The black out curtain had what looked like knife slits in it and there were cobwebs in the corners. Overall it just felt dirty. We went back down to the front desk and the lady there was very apologetic and gave us a room in the south tower. Aside from cobwebs on top of a couple lamp shades it was much nicer. Went to get a $4 soda from the vending machine and it ate my money and got nothing in return. Made me want to go down and play there slots!!! LOL Tuesday we rented a car to drive down to Vegas "never been there before" While we were up in our room getting ready and waiting for our rental without warning the fire alarm goes off! "the speaker was in our room" We went downstairs and asked security what was wrong and he told us they were testing the system but didn't know how long it would last. After about an hour it finally stopped. We went back up to our room to get ready for the day and was never so glad to leave! Had a great time in Vegas and got back to our room and to bed around 4am Wednesday. Got woke up around 8:30 Wednesday morning from a text telling us that the water was going to be shut off around 11 for a couple of hours. So much for sleeping in. We took our showers got in our rental and left to go elsewhere. Came back went to bed and got up Thursday morning and decided to pay for another day on the rental. Headed downstairs to get some donuts and coffee. While walking down the hallway talking about what we were going to do for the day and looking around except at the ground, my fiancee tripped and fell over a hose coming in from outside into Smash Burgers! NICE!! "The only thing hurt was her pride" The truck said septic service on the side so who knows?? We spent the remainder of our last short day patronizing the other casinos because we knew we had to get up at 3am to make sure we would be able to use the bathroom before leaving for our flight. The only positive thing to say is the staff at the hotel were very polite as were the employees for Sun Country!!! Thank you for the computer generated response! Considering that everything I stated could be verified, we expected a little more then your generic response considering what we went through!!

We have stayed here many times in years past.
But, haven't been here in about 15 years. I know Covid disrupted the hospitality business. But, this place has really gone down hill. Supposedly, we were in a renovated room...It was disgusting!
Bathroom floor was tiled with wall tiles! Extremely dangerous and extremely unsafe when wet(the person that did this was an idiot). The corners of the bed were torn up by a dog/housekeeping. The HVAC was loud, didn't appear to have a filter in place and looked alive with all the grey fuzzies on it. Looking out our window there were parts of the building/walls that had eroded away. Roof tiles were sliding off the roof. I'm just getting started here!!
Elevators in the garage and hotel are disgusting and show a lack of preventative maintenance and care.
I could go on and on! Some employees/workers appeared and acted overwhelmed/overworked.
I will never again book a room/multiple rooms at this place again.
Most importantly though, the bathroom is UNSAFE with the type of tile used on the floor.

Harrah's Laughlin seems to have lost some of its beauty inside over the last few years. Table games cost more than other places to play and they got rid of the non smoking table games all together. Lots of slots if that's your thing. I do like the Beach Cafe inside and the view from the outside patio. They have the only access to a beach (if you're staying here) and they keep the area clean. Water taxi will get you to other casinos. Rooms are okay. Arcade for kids (why would you bring them though?). Some snacky food places as well as a Guy Fiery's (sp?) place. It's only okay.

In room. There was No drinking water, microwave or safe in room. The vending machine has bottled water for $4! Needs renovation. The bed was super comfy with four pillows your choice of down or foam. Great river views. Not part of Riverwalk. Great value at 59$ a night mid week, with a 20$ resort fee. You have to drive or shuttle to the other casinos. I prefer something centrally located. But for $79 per night, it was worth it to me.

Nice enough little casino in a place that’s warmer than the Midwest. The gaming floor has limited table games. But, they have a fairly large slot section.
Rooms are pretty nice. The shower however is a really stupid design. It’s pretty much guaranteed to get waterall over the bathroom floor.
Mattress is comfortable. Good pillows also.
Above average gym facility for a hotel. Dumbbells up through 75lbs.

We got in very late and even though we said non-smoking room, our first room was smoking in the South tower. We went back to the front desk and got a non-smoking room in the North tower. The room was ok, but the shower wall was peeling.

Used our Caesar's rewards for the trip. Rooms were okay showing signs of their age. The casino had a nice variety of games. Also had a non smoking area. River taxis were not in operation because the river was too low.

They let you know that you are allowed to take plenty of pictures, the answer all questions you have, and we had a lot, lol

The lady at the gift shop said that for the right price most of them could be purchased. There was also a lot of vintage memorabilia from trophy truck racing to ww2 items. Very clean with outstanding staff eager to talk to you about these awesome cars. Highly recommend especially if you have or get a players card which is also free.

Truly a 3-star hotel. We stayed in Executive Suite - the most expensive room in this hotel. The room itself is pretty big but that’s the only thing that is good. Everything in the room is very outdated. Air vents are dirty and looks like there is mold on them. Bottom part of the furniture has a thick layer of dust. Every morning we got a back pain from the mattress and rock hard pillows. Couldn’t sleep half of the night. The sound insulation between the room is very poor. Every morning at 6am I could hear our neighbors talk in their room. Room has a balcony that has no chairs to sit on - useless. For 2 people we got 1 small soap bar and 1 small body lotion tube. No shampoo and no toothpaste. That’s in Executive Suite, rates are double compare to a regular room.
I gave it a 3 star and not 1 star because I realize it’s a 3-Star hotel and I can’t expect a 5 star service. But with few minor improvements they can make this hotel so much better.

A car museum like no other. This is the place to be if you enjoy looking at antique cars. The large collection of these vehicles is unbeatable given how rare some of them are. Entrance admission at the museum is free for anyone under the age of 18, and adults (18+) if they have a player's card. Otherwise, it is only three dollars per adult. Reservations are not needed, as staff work very quickly to get people in. The museum is quite large and takes about half an hour to an hour to see all the cars they have on display. Overall, highly recommend visiting.

Love this place. I visit every time I go back to Laughlin and I always try to stay at the Riverside - it’s the OG spot for sure. Sometimes the cars change, but a lot of the old ones are still there. My fav is always the Delorean (pictured), and I think the family of Don Laughlin (RIP) has done a good job keeping this place looking nice. I have so many memories of my parents taking me there in the 1980s. Love this place.

The gift shops fun with lots of options. There are lots to look at besides the cars if the cars are not your favorite. It’s definitely a well rounded place. Well organized, clean bathrooms in the gift shop area, quiet area, friendly staff. It’s a nice place for a date or just to get away from the casino crowd for a bit. Reasonable cost, no line, amazing collection!
Step into the Oatman Hotel Restaurant & Bar, a historic Old West venue that has been transformed into an ice cream shop and American eatery. This establishment is located in a building with a rich history, rumored to be haunted, and was originally built in 1902 as the Durlin Hotel. After being rebuilt following a fire in 1924, it was renamed the Oatman Hotel in the 1960s.
Great day trip for the family. The drive in is beautiful and littered with donkeys along the road so drive slowly. The town is welcoming and playing with the donkeys was so much fun. The locals were very friendly and willing to share all kind of info about the town and wildlife. Oh yeah.. the food was wonderful and plentiful!

The truth is that the Restaurant employees were extremely courteous. The concern is more about the clientele behavior. It's clear that some of your customers still instill poor interaction behavior with a variety of different cultures. As a owner of my own restaurant i have found that this can usually cause customers to stop returning.Again the service by all the employees was great. I believe that promoting better respect among all customers should be a big focus. By providing more server's helps to meditate the time frame of customers to customers interaction.

The waitress said they are estimating it to be more than $400,000 stapled to the wall. There is some great history behind why these bills are there (ask someone working there and they will explain why).
I had the Road Runner Chicken Sandwich and my husband had the Pulled Pork. Mine was okay. My hubby looooooved his!

This place was awesome! The town was created in 1915 as an old mining town and you can see that in how the town looked. There's a lot of tourist stuff there too unfortunately we didn't get to see everything and plan to come back again, also not only that but they had a western show in the middle of the day for everyone to see as well. Some of the most unusual wallpaper I’ve ever seen. Oatman Hotel Restaurant and Saloon is nestle in a quiet old gold and silver mining town. Right out of the old western movies that my Ma and Pa used to watch. A menu with many items to choose from including good old biscuits and gravy which I had ordered. Some of the best gravy I’ve ever tasted. Glancing over at other tables, where people were eating, the other items look delicious also. The locals which not only include those who live there, there are several boroughs wondering around the streets. Friendly and very hungry. If you like stepping back into history and love delicious tasting food, then give the town of Oatman, Arizona a visit and don’t pass up the Oatman Hotel Restaurant & Saloon.

There are over 400,000 $1.00 bills that are literally hanging everywhere a space could/can be found. And the Burros roaming freely about town and along the sidewalks of the shops are funny too.

Not very far from Las Vegas, in the town called Oatman is the 'Oatman Hotel Restaurant & Bar' which has US Dollars stuck all over it. The site is very unusual since this is not merely a decoration theme but real currency notes, also called a 'Bill' in the US. I found this to be a cool place to check out while doing the Route 66 road trip in June 2023. These dollar bills were originally left there for the miners to buy food since they would go into the mines and come out after several weeks. These bills left for them by passersby would ensure they were not starved. The tradition continues to date, except people also write their names on the dollar bill. There is also a gift shop and museum attached to the restaurant, but they were closed when I visited.

Wonderfully charming place to eat with home cooked food and huge portions. You won't go hungry or thirsty here. With over $300,000 dollars worth of dollar bills stuck to the walls and ceiling, this eatery does not lack any conversation. On occasion you will also get to see Big Mike come in from his wrangling and robbing in the streets (all for show). They make their own potato chips which are amazing when they cover them in cheese and garlic!! We've eaten here many times and everything has always been great. Still the pulled pork is simply the best when you pair it with the homemade chips and a bottle of Route 66 Root Beer. The Root Beer isn't on the menu, so you have to ask for it. Christa will help you out, she is a wonderful advocate of Oatman and is charming and gave us great advice on future stays. She didn't steer us wrong on our food either. Over all this place has so much character it's worth it to come in and have a drink or a samwhich to just take a look around and here some stories about how the dollar bills were left for the miners. You will probably see the burros out front as well because the smell of the food drew us in as well!!

It is a bar and a restaurant. It is not possible to stay overnight here. The ambience is funny, with hundreds of dollar bills replacing the paper on the walls. It was also suitably decorated for Halloween. The food was average but honest. The service was okay. We had sadwiches and soda. The place itself puts on a western show at noon-1pm. The restaurant was part of the holdup. That was funny.

Visitors can take a walking tour to explore the bridge and its surroundings. The area around the bridge offers many options for dining, shopping and entertainment. One of the popular activities is riding on the casino boat across the lake for a nominal fee of $2 where one can enjoy scenic views of city lights reflecting off water at night.
Pretty awesome! Glad I made the trip. Looks like a great place to party with friends or a fun day with the family on the water. There's a little bit of everything no matter what the occasion maybe. So many food options, friendly people and countless fun things to do.

I absolutely love the structure of this. History saved and new history created. The details on the lamp posts are amazing. Great view from all sides on top and underneath.
There's plenty of shops, restaurants, restrooms, parking, activities, and history to learn. The culture and atmosphere just pulls you in.

My kid asked to go here for his 16th birthday. I wasn't thrilled, but it was his request, so that was what we were going to do. I had surprisingly a fun time. It's a cool thing to see but nothing to write home about. I liked the historical things discussing the bridge in that city but wished they added more about its history in London. That was the bridge they used to put heads on. It had 2 former queens decorating it. Shout out to King Henry for the murders!
The surrounding city was friendly, and the scenery was very pretty. I would see it again.

What a sight! Very clean and well maintained area! All the restaurants and going ons were fun! People from all over the country here! The story about the bridge and channel is interesting as well. Great place for family time!

You can take a nice walk along the bridge. The English village, the restaurants and small stores were especially great. You can also hire boats here and water sports enthusiasts will find plenty to do. Don't forget to take the ferry, roundtrip 4 dollars for 1 hour, kids 2 years and younger are free. Nearby there are some great parks and a museum. The place is ideal for a short trip.

Absolutely beautiful place and very friendly town. Loved the fact that its a dog friendly town, allowing us to have our golden retriever and Chihuahua at all time. Outside of being dog friendly, most people cleaned up after their dogs too.

Very cute little "village" where you can eat, shop, or just walk around and enjoy. There's restaurants to eat, stands to buy quick bites, a park to walk along the river, lighthouse replicas to see, and of course boat rides. The kids enjoyed themselves (I have teens and little ones) It was a lot of walking but very beautiful views and picture opportunities.
After walking around and exploring, we ate at "The Chair and decided to call it a day. We were there a total of 4 hours (including lunch). We went during winter, Dec 28. I think it looks even prettier during Spring or Fall. We'll be back one day 😊

Amazing bridge beautiful and well kept 🌉 The little area below is adorable we absolutely loved the little shops and restaurants. The whole thing is such a good vibe. Many amenities to rent for the day and a inexpensive boat to take you across the water to a casino. Our new favorite spot in Lake Hasavu 💛

Great shops and great places to eat....
However, while my mobility is currently limited due to surgically reconstructed foot.
The primary drawback is that there is only one way to access these great shops if you are in a wheelchair or other adaptive device or mode of ambulation (knee scooter, crutches).... There is only one ADA approved entry to this area. The surface is relatively unlevel and has many steep inclines.
A few of the shops also lack ADA approved access points either for entry or internal travel.

The bridge itself is nice, and there are many businesses around it. Restaurants, gift shops (pricey), boat rentals... you name it & it's probably there. Had a lovely time there with friends. And the ferry lands there for easy access from/to the casino across the lake.

In the 45 years we've lived in AZ, we had never visited this attraction. 🤔 We were very to surprised to see how nice it was. It starts with a very nice gift shop with some historical displays. As you walk down to the bridge, you'll see shops and places to eat. There is a lovely paved walk along the river which leads to a wonderful little city park.
The channel that they dug to make the bridge go over water (only bridge built over dry land and then flooded to make it that way). The resulting island has an interesting drive around it where you can see about 15 models of famous lighthouses.
The biggest surprise was that it didn't cost a dime to use the gift shop or see the bridge or walk. It was all very nice and would recommend seeing it if you haven't been.

Lake Havasu is always fun and the London Bridge is pretty cool. There are places to eat, drink, and shop. For $2 you can ride the casino boat across the lake to the casino and back. Great way to get a tour of the lake and at night you get to see all the lights of the city reflecting of the water. Very beautiful. Highly recommend the Starship tour that takes you on the lake and up the Colorado River.

Been there a few times, but most times I've been most stores were closed in the winter. Made a point of going during spring break time. It wasn't too busy. My girls loved it ad well. They especially loved the ice cream shop. Be warned, it's cash only.

London Bridge was purchased, dismantled, transported, then rebuilt In Lake Havasu City prior to dredging and making the channel and creating the island. It’s a piece of world history in the middle of the desert. A must see when in Lake Havasu, make sure you take the time to see it at night lit up!

Most people confuse London Bridge in Arizona with the iconic London Bridge in the United Kingdom. The one in Arizona was purchased in London in the 1960s, dismantled and reassembled on Lake Havasu. It's a beautiful place with great views, especially during sunset, and a popular spot for tourists and photographers. The bridge itself is surrounded by shops, restaurants and recreational facilities, making it a picturesque place worth visiting. Very good restaurant right next to the bridge, we will definitely come back here!!

They removed all the love locks unfortunately.
London bridge was originally built in the 1830’s, and bought by Robert McCullough for $2,460,000 in 1968 and moved to the new town Lake Havasu to bring in tourists. This was an amazing feat and one of the most memorable investments for a town ever made. Now the new local government wants to change that and make it a ghost town. Very sad to see the new changes to all of havasu.

Not much to say. It’s London Bridge in Arizona. Worth a visit for the novelty value alone. Plenty of hospitality in and around the area, but the bridge itself is really just a snap and go attraction.

Lake Havasu was gorgeous!! It felt like I stepped into another world. The atmosphere was cozy, comfortable, and very inviting. Beautiful views no matter where you turned. I visited during December, so the water wasn't as active as I'm sure it is during the summer months, but enjoyable and beautiful nonetheless.

The Arizona Route 66 Museum, located in the former Kingman Powerhouse museum and visitor center complex, offers a fascinating journey through the history of the iconic highway. Visitors can explore exhibits featuring vintage cars, dioramas, and a movie that narrates the story of Route 66 from its origins as an indigenous trade route to its heyday as a symbol of Main Street America in the 1950s.
Make sure to take cash when visiting the museum section. We were fortunate enough to have had a host let us be his guest. The museum is informative, interesting and shows some great history of the area, route 66 and the time.
Great little gift shops. If you collect stretch pennies they have the penny holder and a penny holder journal.
If your traveling for the route 66 experience get your stamp and passport ($10 approx) to add a fun little treasure to your trip.

In the Morning of April 12, 2018, we found ourselves on the old Route 66 in Kingman Arizona. This historic community displayed a variety of art along the main strip which gave it more character and attraction. This was a great place to visit as we made our way north.

This was a nice pit stop on the way from Flagstaff to Vegas. Very inexpensive museum. The entire Route 66 museum, electric car display, and history film should take an hour to two hours to go through if reading all of the information. Two gift shops also attached. Great photos and relics to share a piece of country’s past.

Very fun little store great photo opportunities outside, there is a paid part of the museum but we didn't have enough time so we didn't walk through it there is plenty to do for free. $10 for adult to enter, it’s worth the drive to here because interesting historical information about Route 66 and the cars.
Veronica — Google review
Great little museum packed with interesting history about famed Route 66. Housed inside a historic power station building from the early 1900s, it's on the second floor above the local visitor center. Admission is cheap at 10 bucks and that also gets you entry into two other local attractions – the Mohave Museum that features the regional history and environment, and the historic Bonelli House, also from the early 1900s.
The Route 66 Museum itself has plenty of information about the legendary road including stories of the early explorers and settlers that initially passed through the region. There are fascinating displays talking about and recreating the wagons and “Prairie Schooners” used in those days, then more exhibits about the early days of automobile travel on dirt roads before Route 66 actually came to be. Of course it then goes on to the heyday of Route 66 with some recreations of vintage storefronts and finally the decline of the “Mother Road” as the highway system takes hold. That decline is highlighted by a documentary that plays in the mini-theater downstairs on the way to the Electric Vehicle Museum.
The EV Museum is part of the standard admission fee and was an interesting bonus – it was actually the main reason I wanted to check out this place having recently bought an electric car myself. The museum consists of one large hall containing a variety of electric vehicles ranging from neighborhood electric vehicles (NEVs) - good only for short urban hops - to fully road-legal EVs like a Tesla Roadster and converted Porsche 911, to one-off race vehicles. It's not a comprehensive overview of EV history by any means but fascinating nonetheless and well worth the low price of admission. The local Tesla Supercharger station happens to be located beside the museum building and there's a free level 2 charger for non-Tesla EV drivers too on the opposite side, just in case you drove here in an electric vehicle yourself.
The visitor center has a great gift shop for Arizona souvenirs and beside it there's another gift shop specifically for the Historic Route 66 Association of Arizona with plenty of merchandise to choose from.
Outside in the parking lot is a great photo opportunity with a large Route 66 sign you can drive your car or motorcycle through.
All in all, a wonderful little stop for any road trip through Kingman, especially for anyone interested in the old Route 66.

A nice museum and gift shop. We spent a good amount of time there. First in the Route 66 section. Then downstairs in the electric car museum. Although most of the cars were built out of internal combustion engine vehicles. But it was still interesting to see. You of course, exit through a gift shop. It was a nice museum worth the time to stop and check out.

Amazing views of such a majestic place. Ride the red shuttle all the way hermits rest. Every picture is a good one with the canyons in the back. Continue down for the long hike to the Colorado river , or just stop for a Picnic packed lunch . A few tables offer a a great place to eat and get photos. The red shuttle runs every 10 minutes however the mask rule is still ridiculous. Lots of squirrels and birds make it like a scene from Bambi . Do not feed! Don’t leave your bang unattended either as it may be ransacked by those little furry guys! Be sure to switch your camera to panoramic to get the best pics! Enjoy

If you’re in Vegas and you want to make a day trip to the Grand Canyon this is perfect. It took us about two hours to drive there and the cost for the skywalk and the general admission was about $60. That might seem a bit steep but I can tell you that I felt it was worth it. Though I was scared to death to walk around the skywalk I was blown away by the incredible views of the Grand Canyon. I would suggest this place as a day trip for anybody that doesn’t have time to make the 4 Hour Dr. to the actual park.
Grand Canyon West Skywalk is a horseshoe-shaped glass bridge that extends 70 feet from the canyon rim, offering visitors the thrilling experience of walking 4,000 feet above the canyon floor. Managed by the Hualapai Tribe, this attraction is just one part of a tour that includes other unique canyon views and points of interest. While some visitors choose to skip the Skywalk due to long lines and high prices, many find that Guano Point offers breathtaking views and an unforgettable experience.
Best part of the whole experience is the part that is advertised the least - Guano Point. The views are absolutely amazing. We chose to skip the skywalk to save time and money. The line to get on it was very long and we didn't want to wait. But Guano Point made up for all of it. The meal at Guano Point left a lot to be desired. Was very little food and not that great. But you don't go here for the food. They should really lower the price on it though since you don't exactly get what you pay for. But Guano Point was amazing and could stay there all day long. That's why this gets 5 Stars in spite of the other notes. The workers are amazing people by the way!! Top notch service!

This was such a unique experience! Definitely more things to do than the south and north rim. It was pretty awesome having the native Americans singing as people explored the area. Do be aware that you cannot bring animals here but there is a location not far from the Grand Canyon where you can board them

This was insane. Well worth the money and wait. Beautiful views and a unique experience. Do not do this if you're afraid of heights. If you have good enough eyes you might be able to see animals below. You have to wear booties to walk around so you don't scratch or mess up the glass view. Make sure you wear clothing to protect from the sun. There's some cover but not a ton.

The view was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my life! But be careful, it’s very expensive. The Skywalk is not worth it AT ALL! It’s a scam! You pay 30$ extra (besides the 60$ from general admission) and you cannot bring phones, water, nothing. Then they have loads of photographers that take 4 pictures and charge you 25$ for each photos AND they don’t even print it, just send it to your email. Ridiculous!
So, I would recommend to just pay general admission (60$) - the views are AMAZING.
Would also recommend to bring food

What an amazing place. This part of the Grand Canyon is run and owned by native people of the land. To actually see the Grand Canyon, in all its glory up close with no guard rails was amazing. And to learn about the native people of the land was also an amazing experience. Staff running the facility were extremely friendly and informative. I would recommend going to this part of the Grand Canyon rather than the government run area.

I have been here three times already. The first time was when they first opened, and the road was still a dirt road. The following two times came with friends. The views are spectacular. However, this place has enormous crowds of visitors all three times. The last time was the worst. It took me more than two hours to get on the glass bridge. The last hour was inside a very narrow hallway inside the building with no very good ventilation. I think I would not want to be on the glass bridge next time again!
Michael W. — Google review
Had an amazing time as usual. I took my sister and cousins and best friend. They all had a blast as well. The employees are nothing short of amazing cannot wait to go back again. I do recommend renting a vehicle in Vegas rather than taking one of those tours. That way you can stop and see different sites along the way. Stop at some of the stores on the tribal lands. Just really get to talk to the people and see their culture.

This actually IS worth the money I payed for. I walked out on the glass walking over the canyon which was astounding magnificent. I have no problems with heights let alone walking on clear glass over possibly 2,000 feet plus. This has been a highlight of my trip.

Beautiful and breathtaking. Every angle has a different perspective of the Canyon and its beauty.
You're not able to take anything on the skywalk, but they give you free lockers to store your items.
You can play $25 for one of the associates to take one photo...Or you can pay $65 and the photographer will take up to 20 photos. All will be available at the end.
They do make you put on special booties to not scratch the glass flooring.
We were only able to get photos by going up to the restaurant taking photos through the window.

This was on my bucket list to complete and was definitely worth a stop! The bridge itself is a feat of MODERN engineering. It’s awesome to go out. It feels completely safe and the staff is very courteous. You will not be allowed to take any personal items, including your cell phones out onto the bridge, but you can purchase professional photographs, which I thought was very awesome. The lines going to be a little bit long, so be prepared to wait about an hour on the weekend. There’s lots of information about the Grand Canyon. Super awesome.

Stunning views. Unfortunately, meal options were very limited during our visit. Disappointing that we could take no pictures of our own while at Skywalk, but I understand not wanting to deal with tourists that drop their phone/ camera, etc., and expect reimbursement. The pictures they take sound expensive but they are digital and include some beautiful scenery shots as well. We'll worth the money.
There's some beautiful shots that you are free to take on your own at the second stop and a nice little hike to the top of a rock bluff, boasting incredible views!

This was a very cool experience, for sure. The walkway is 4000 feet above the highest point. The view is absolutely breathtaking! The staff is very helpful and there to take pictures for you. This is on an actual indian reservation. You are not allowed to take bags, phones, or your own cameras on the bridge per their rules. We got the picture package, and it is well worth it. We traveled to this location via Sweet Tours bus company that was absolutely perfect. A+++
Bob Houghtelin — Google review
The scenery itself is exceptionally beautiful, with the distinctive ravines of the Grand Canyon and the impressive faults of the mountains.
However, the Skywalk is not worth purchasing tickets for; the glass bridge is actually small, not like the showing on the commercial ad, and the glass is dirty with many scratches, making it difficult to see the deep ravines below.
Additionally, not allowed bring any phone to bridge, have to leave all bags items in the locker, you have to purchase pictures taken by staff for $25 each, which are of low quality and only can be downloaded and printed by yourself.
It is not worthwhile to spend extra for this experience.
Furthermore, during winter, the mountain peaks experience strong winds and low temperatures, so dressing warmly. I noticed families wearing short sleeves and shorts in such conditions.

I have been to The Grand Canyon a few times but my kids hadn’t and we were in Vegas so decided to detour and take them. I understand the money goes to a good cause, but it’s absolutely ridiculous it’s $56 a person to view the canyon! You can go to the Grand Canyon NP and pay $30 a car for a week to explore and hike the canyon. We spent $220 for 2 adults and 2 kids. You take a shuttle to two spots. There are no trails to hike and you’re only viewing the canyon. So $220 to see a canyon blows my mind! You have to pay extra to do the skywalk. I’ve done that before and not worth the hype nor the money. The crowds were insane and you couldn’t even get in to eat at the restaurant which was disappointing. Very disappointed in this tourist trap.

Decided to take a day trip and picked Grand Canyon west. Just 2 hours from Vegas it's an easy straight forward drive. Arrived mid day and plenty of parking was available. We weren't really sure what to expect and really didn't do much research I figured you could just park and walk around and see the sights and leave. Just be warned you have to park , go in and get tickets to either just go in under general admission or pay extra to go out on the glass walkway. General admission was 60 and change and I believe the walkway admission was 80 each person. You then go in and take a bus to each stop. The first stop was the walkway which had a decent view of the canyon. We waited for another shuttle , they came every 8 mins or so. The next stop had much better views and you could actually see the river. Over all it was a nice day trip and something to do. If you're in Vegas and don't want to drive 5 hrs to Grand canyon national Park then this is a good replacement. Not sure if it's worth the drive and 134 bucks to see the canyon but now you know the ins and outs and can decide on your own.

We didn't do the Skywalk, first of all because it's overpriced, secondly, you cannot bring your camera or phone to take pictures. And then you're being offered photos that are probably not even good enough at a too high price.

This place is unbelievable. There are plenty of places to eat. Get your tickets online on their app. It was cheaper for me and easier when you arrived there. Keep a hold of your kids. There isn't borders to stop you from slipping off into the canyon. Common sense. The sky bridge, you can't take nothing with you. If you want pics they take them and sell them to you. It was a full day affair for us. We had to take buses to each section. Worth the money.

NOT FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE A FEAR OF HEIGHTS! Amazing design. Place a glass floor, horseshoe shaped walking ramp 1000 feet above the floor of the canyon. Leave all personal affects as they are not allowed on the Skywalk. Put on booties and experience a walk on the high side! Have your photo taken, or simply marvel at the sheer beauty of God's creation.

This is such an insane experience. You will have to put all your personal belongings in a locker provided by the canyon and use the required booties for your feet. If you want pictures, they have photographers and you will have to pay. The skywalk is unlike anything else I've ever experienced. Truly beautiful and unique.
Sabrina Wieczorek — Google review
It was cool but it was just so expensive for not really enough to do in the time spent. There is so much to do at the Grand Canyon for less and you can spend more time there. We were worried we wouldn’t have enough time here but we ended up leaving much earlier than expected because there was so little to do.

It's a great view, don't get me wrong, but it was a bit anti-climatic really. It's not as large as it looks and you can't take your phone or camera out with you, so you are beholden to the owners for pictures ($25 for one, $50 for 7). I found Guano Point to be the true highlight of the area. If on a budget, skip this and go straight to Guano Point.

Hackberry General Store
Route 66 Hackberry, Arizona
June 25, 2023
On this road trip, we stopped at one of our favorite places to visit. We always stop here to take photos and get some rest. Of course we always buy souvenirs when we visit. We have been visiting the general store for a while. In fact, I remember the corvette that used to be parked in front of the store. The day we visited Ruben H. Rodarte, the owner of Valentine Station , was working. It's always great to see and speak with him. He is just a great guy. He told us that the store has been very busy, especially from foreign tourists. Of course, I also wanted to see Charlie the cat. He was asleep on the couch, so I just left him alone. It eventually slowed down, and I was able to take some photos of the General Stores.
This is such a unique stop on Route 66 Arizona. It's great to browse through the store. They sell great souvenirs, and we just bought their new color changing coffee cups. The staff members are all great and fun to speak with.

The attendant was very friendly and conversational. Prices weren't too over the top for snacks and drinks.

Neat little place on Route 66, had a portly cat hanging out there (Charlie? Harley?) that enjoyed scritches. Very nice lady working there (owner?), super friendly and fun to chat with. Cool memorabilia around, and interesting stuff to by related to Route 66. Talked myself into, out of, and back into a cool bottle opener for my garage. The old gas pumps never get old, love this place!

Great roadside stop along the famous Route 66. Eva, the counter clerk, was friendly and had a great sense of humor. There is so much to look at, both inside and out. It's a true feast for the eyes. You can buy snacks, drinks and souvenirs or just spend time enjoying all the nostalgia and Americana.

It was a quaint historical spot and we like to check out sites on Rte 66. It was kind of way out there, had lots of sightseers but not a bad little trip.

A lovely place to visit along Route 66! It was busy and obviously one of the more popular stops along the way. Plenty of cold drinks and good quality souvenirs on site. Had a nice vibe about it!

Iconic and historical place worth to visit. It takes some additional time to drive on the road leading to it, but the views are spectacular. I was surprised that it has so many historical relics, especially old cars and signs. You can also buy some drinks or souvenirs inside.

Nestled along the historic stretch of Route 66, just east of Kingman, Arizona, lies a treasure trove of nostalgia and Americana – the Hackberry General Store. This iconic landmark, fondly nicknamed the "Mother Lode of Mother Road Memorabilia," beckons travelers with its eclectic collection of vintage signs, quirky artifacts, and a palpable sense of Route 66 spirit.

An iconic place on Route 66, absolutely to stop by and visit the inside. On the property there are plenty of old gas pumps, road and oil signs, classic cars and so much more. The place is stuffed with history. Definitively recommended to visit, so make sure you book some time in your road trip.

Lovely, quirky motel. I stayed on my way to hike Havasupai and the location was perfect for that. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room had more space than I expected, and was clean and comfortable. We ate veggie burgers at the restaurant, which were excellent and very generously portioned. Well worth venturing off the highway for, for a fun, unique experience.

Unfortunately had to cancel our trip due to COVID-19, and had one night booked here. I've tried to contact the inn several times over email, phone, and facebook message over the last month and they will not respond, despite posting often on Facebook that they are still open. I cannot recommend this place at all if this is how they choose to do business.
Victoria — Google review
Absolutely an outdated off the beaten path motel. But honestly was perfect to rest our heads before heading out to Havasupai to hike for 3 days.
They were accommodating and seemed to keep the place as clean as they could for the age of the facility
Michelle Ligon — Google review
This review is for the Havasu permit check-in office, not the caverns (the cavern tours aren't taking place right now, due to renovations, anyway).
You can only check in from 8am to 5pm. You must have your reservation proof with you. You must have the vehicle information for all vehicles from all people in your reservation. The person behind the counter is pretty indifferent to your existence. I wouldn't expect any special favors. We didn't have any issues with our check in because we made sure to read up on tips before we got to the check in, but that wasn't the case for everyone in line. Definitely come prepared before arriving and keep in mind that if you're planning on checking in the day of your hike start, it's over an hour away to drive from this check in location to the trailhead. You'll be walking into the canyon in high heat conditions and that's not what you want.

Arrived after 2 hours of drive because I was excited to do caverns. Sign on door "caverns closed , elevator out".
Went inside to use the bathroom, at least . Restaurant empty and not even cooking but was hoping we would order food you could tell.
Then she tells me n wife, "Caverns been closed for 2 years, and we hope to fix the elevator in the next 6 months , by October 2024 ".
We were on the website for a good hour the day before. No mention. Was on website many times over last year planning to come, no mention. There's not a single sign by road they closed. We had to hunt at the front building for a sign of where to find caverns. "Go 1mile up hill to caverns."
We got into the town 20 min down road, and they had no idea it was closed , but I did tell of them being sued because people got stuck down at the bottom 2 years earlier. And they tell the people who run it aren't liked by locals at all.
Place looks abandoned, if wasn't for the handful of modern vehicles in parking lot I would have assumed there closed for good/abandoned

Really enjoyed the tour. Large shop above and they do have a diner if you’re hungry. You’ll take a short ride on an elevator down into the cave itself. Yes you can stay at the room within the cave. It’s not cheap, but I’m sure it’s completely worth it if you can swing it. Your guide was friendly and informative. You can find the full video of the tour on YouTube at Country Road Entertainment.

The Grand Canyon Caverns Inn is a rudimentary hotel that makes a good stopover for hikers visiting Havasu Canyon, and the backside of the main building currently houses the check-in office for that trek, issued via the Havasupai tribe’s staff — where you pick up your permit/paperwork and wristbands prior to driving to the Hualapai Hilltop. Currently, there are no cave tours here, and the property, as a whole, needs a refresh and a little love. The rooms are basic (no clock, refrigerator, Kleenex, etc.), but there’s a restaurant on the RV portion of the property, just up the road, and there’s also a small store with simple provisions, making it a decent waystation before or after a visit to remote Supai. Another plus is that unlike other hotels in Seligman and Peach Springs, this one is not situated near the railroad tracks, so it’s a quiet night’s sleep.

Cavern tours, and anything underground is temporarily closed . Check website.
The reception was very nice about the update . We took photos a radiator springs gas station right in front of.

No heat. Only portable heaters supplied. Blew a circuit breaker and had a hard time finding it. Hot water is limited.

It’s important to remember that this is Supai owned, and in the middle of the desert. It’s part of an adventure. So it’s not elegant, or modern, and many may find it “uncomfortable”— but for the adventurous of heart, it’s just a part of the experience (plus— it’s a part of iconic Route 66— focus on the positive and you’ll love the journey)
•
Check-in for Havasupai Falls was here. It was a great place to stock up on supplies, buy water and a few snacks, get a decent night of rest, and take a step back through time.
•
The service was friendly, kind and helpful.
•
The check-in process was quick and easy.
•
The store was small, but had a great selection.
•
The coolest part of the experience was “journey through time” room that was a curated collection of amazing nostalgic items from vintage cameras to Disney movies.
•
I don’t recommend an extended stay here- but for those passing through, it’s a great desert experience. (Those of you who have hiked out of Havasu know that any place feels like a luxury after ascending the canyon 😂)
Havasu Falls is a stunning waterfall located on the Havasupai Indian Reservation, famous for its dramatic blue-green pool. It is just one of many attractions in the area that visitors can explore, including Canyonlands National Park and Monument Valley. The falls are hidden within the Arizona desert, where plenty of water and snacks are essential for the hike. The waterfall boasts impressive flow into a beautiful turquoise pool that leads to serene cascades - perfect for cooling off during hot days.
This place is incredible. So beautiful, it's really a must see bucket list place.
Jacob Morrill — Google review
The grandeur of Havasu Canyon is captured beautifully in the legendary blue-green waters of Havasu Falls. Permits via the Havasupai Tribe website are needed to visit the area, and it requires a hike of around ten miles from the Hualapai Hilltop trailhead to reach this specific site, but descending from Supai Village and making the slight turn to behold Havasu Falls is a jaw-dropper — simply stunning and more than worth the effort. No matter how many treks you make worldwide, you’ll be hard pressed to beat the magnificence of this iconic waterfall!

Pretty spectacular falls. The sun starts to hit this fall early in the am. Water is warmest at the end of the day around 6pm when no one is usually around. You can go behind the waterfall if you’re good at scaling rock. There is a jump at the middle of the falls as well.

Unfortunately the fall was brown when we got there since the winter storm and flood was happening, although it was still very pretty. I cut it short from 3 nights to 1 night because we couldn't go beyond Havasu Falls. We will come back again to see other falls. We decided to take a helicopter ride back to the trail for the view. It was $100 per person and they accept credit card. The wait was quite long (2~3 hours), but the view was spectacular!

What a beauty! It's a paradise in the middle of the desert. It is situated in Arizona. To go there, you will require a booking of the lodging or a camp site. It's a lottery system to do booking. You can reach your camp site in three ways. 1. By hiking (about 11-12 miles)
2. By hiking but sending your luggage to the site using a mule.
3. By helicopter.
If you're a hiking person, I'll suggest the first one. You need to start hiking a little bit early like 5 am in the morning because it's difficult to do while the sun is up. Bring enough water while hiking. There are 2 ways to stay there.
1. Lodge
2. Camping
The lodge is 2 miles away from the first waterfall. Camp ground is just beside the fall. The places to see while you are there are 1. Beaver fall 2. Mooney falls 3. Havasu canyon 4. Fifty foot fall 5. Little Navajo falls 6. Navajo falls 7. Matkatamiba trail. The water of the fall is blue and it looks beautiful from the top. The Mooney fall is the tallest one and to go there it is a 2 mile hike from the camp ground and to go to the bottom of the fall, the last natural staircase is a little bit difficult. If you're a photography enthusiast, you have to take your camera. You have to capture long exposure photos of the fall. You can swim in the fall. The permit is necessary and the lodging is a little bit costly nearly $ 440 for one room for 4 people. If going camping, have your equipment ready, bring enough food and water. It is at least a 2 day trip. Enjoy the scenery there without any disturbance from the phone.

First things first, you have to get reservations through the website and be wary that the dates you may want can be hard to come by. My partner and I just went this last weekend (4 days/3 nights) and it was an incredible experience! The trail is strenuous and no joke, as it’s long and with all the backpacking gear it is exhausting. Remember to pack lots of water and some toilet paper encase the bathrooms at the campsite run out.
The waterfalls are beautiful and incredible! It was worth the trip and the blisters I got but it is not for the faint of heart.

Whole trip was stunning, visited all the falls and it was amazing. Pretty pricey and though to score a spot to the campground but a once in a lifetime experience if you've got the legs to hike it.

"The best view comes from the hardest climb"
11 miles hike was worth it.
It's 20 mins from the campground.
The iconic sign near the South Entrance Station of Grand Canyon National Park is a popular spot for visitors to pose for photos. The staff and bus drivers are known for their helpfulness and friendliness. Winter is an excellent time to visit, as there are fewer crowds and it's easier to access various trails with full views of the canyon. Many people enjoy hiking the canyon, while others prefer to take in the breathtaking scenery at leisure.
Staff and bus drivers were super friendly and helpful. I visited winter and it was awesome. The crowds were smaller and it was easy to get to any other rails to get a full view of the canyon. Personally I'm going to try to find time to go back and hike the canyon. We did a little bit but not very much. Great place, worth every penny going in. I'll post a few pictures but you have to see it in person for it really to do justice.

When someone says you need to see it to appreciate it or pictures don't do it justice, they're speaking THE TRUTH. My visit was unplanned so I just stayed at the top and looked down/around it, but even that was AMAZING! It's truly EPIC and I'm going to do a planned trip so I can do some Grand Canyon hiking!

My journey to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas, which took around 4 hours by car, was an adventure of a lifetime. Renting a car was a great decision as the scenic drive was a spectacle in itself. We opted to rent an SUV but an economy car is more than fine to see the gas. The changing landscapes and dramatic scenery along the way heightened my anticipation.
Once at the Grand Canyon, We embarked on a challenging but incredibly rewarding hike to Ooh Aah Point. Hiking in the heat up and down the canyon was tough, but the panoramic views and the feeling of accomplishment made it all worth it. The breathtaking vistas and the opportunity to stand on the edge of this natural wonder were simply awe-inspiring. If you're up for a bit of an adventure and are prepared to brave the elements, this place is a must-visit. It's a testament to the beauty and power of the natural world. Highly recommend going! This is a once in a lifetime experience.

Was a dream of mine to come and visit and I enjoyed so much seeing this ci hon with amazing landscapes. I love it. Restrooms were clean. Water taste really good here. The visit center has kid’s passport and stamp for all national parks with map. My kids loved it. If you bring stroller be careful because roads to the rim is very narrow and you have to carry your toddler without stroller.

This park is 10X better than expected. It is even more beautiful and Majestic in person than seen on pictures or videos. The park is huge but there are roads leading to visiting centers around the rim of the canyon. There are great photo opportunities every where. We had a group of 500 people visit together. A total of 10 tour buses, there are plenty of parking for cars and buses. Biking and hiking trails every where. They even have a Starbucks and ice cream at the watch tower site. There is lodging and hotel stay. One of the natural wonders of the world that must be visited multiple times and explore.

A few years ago, during a conference trip to Scottsdale, Arizona, a couple of friends and I made the trek to visit the Grand Canyon! As I walked up to the various viewing areas, every step felt like a journey through time, surrounded by layers of ancient rock formations painted with nature's most vibrant hues. Almost all I could do was marvel at the massive expanse and beauty. From the rim, I gazed out at the vastness that stretched beyond imagination, and I was filled with awe and wonder. The sun blazed down creating shadows and illuminating crevices and creating a stunning contrast against the endless expanse. Standing on the edge, the wind whispering secrets of the canyon, I felt so small yet so deeply connected to mother earth. It's moments like these that remind me of the immense beauty that surrounds all of us and the importance of preserving these treasures for generations to come.
With my camera in hand, I tried my best to capture the indescribable magnificence of this natural wonder. Truth be told, there is no picture that does the canyon justice. Even as I looked at the pictures I took, they could not compare to what my eyes could see. Swipe through these photos to catch a glimpse of the magic I witnessed that day, knowing it is so much more in person.
If you ever get the chance, make sure to experience the Grand Canyon in person – no photo or words can truly capture its grandeur.

Pictures do not give this majestic natural wonder any justice. When we first caught a glimpse, it was like staring at a painting or an illusion, I wasn't able to grasp the immense size of this canyon. There is so much to do here and a person could spend several weeks just doing everything this park has to offer.
My wife and I rented e-bikes from the Angel Bike Cafe near the visitor center and we had a blast. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a different experience from just hiking the rim.

Visiting the Grand Canyon is like stepping into the world’s coolest outdoor museum. Imagine rocks as old as dinosaurs, insane cliffs, and colors that change faster than a mood ring. It’s like Mother Nature decided to show off and created this massive masterpiece that leaves everyone standing at the edge, jaws dropped, and minds blown.
The views? Absolutely epic! Every spot along the rim feels like the best seat in a 3D movie theater. One minute you’re at Mather Point getting those classic canyon views, and the next you’re at Yavapai Observation Station feeling the vibe of the rocks and the wind. It’s not just about looking at a bunch of rocks; it’s about feeling super connected to the planet in a way that’s kinda hard to put into words.
And if you’re into adventures, this place is like a giant playground. There are trails where you can hike and feel like a real-life explorer, finding all the cool, hidden spots of the canyon. It’s not just a walk; it’s a full-on adventure where every turn has something awesome to discover, like secret caves or ancient fossils.
So yeah, the Grand Canyon is not just another tourist spot. It’s where you go to get mind-blown by nature’s epic movie, with every look being a scene filled with the craziest colors, rocks, and views that seem to go on forever. 🌄🚶♂️🌵

Ethereal and timeless in its majestic serpentine trek South to the Border. No, it's not big and mighty as once upon a time. Yet it's still an impressive sight to behold. Regal in its sovereign control of all life held firmly within its high canyon walls. Beautiful in all its desert vastness. Sit and breathe it in. You are nothing more than a speck of sand upon its shores. A mere ant to be forgotten despite your hardest labors here on Earth. Still, it will venture forth. Long after you're gone. Carrying the life blood of the southwestern desert and the United States of America with it. Be kind to it, others will follow my friend. Just like you and I. Once upon a time.

I was here in early March and it was actively snowing! While most people left disappointed because there was zero visibility, I chose to wait. A few hours later things started to clear and it was the coolest experience watching the fog and clouds lift and the canyon become visible! I only had one day to spend here so I’m so glad I waited it out! I think it was a better experience than if it had been clear from the start.

Blown away by the majesty and beauty of this National Park! You must experience it in person to truly appreciate it! We used the buses (red line) to get to scenic outlooks, hiked in between some of the stops (9 stops in all). We had limited time available (just a day) and felt this was the most efficient way to see the highlights of the park. Would love to come back for multiple days and explore trails further into the canyon!

Awesome experience. The views were next level. I've been in many a canyon but nothing on this level. Highly recommend.
The entrance fee as of this review is 35$.
If you are active military, in the reserves, or a veteran, ask for a national parks lifetime card at the gate or apply before you go. My license lists my status as a veteran so they issued me one at the gate. The park wasn't crowded at all. We drove along the south rim and hardly saw anyone. We stayed in Willams, a nice little town about an hour from the parks south entrance.

One of the most iconic and famous places in America and one of the wonders of the world. I went here on the month of December 2023 for the first time and it isn’t very crowded unlike the summer. It’s also cheaper to visit in the winter and it is more cool. I feel like I can connect with the awesome-inspiring nature and landscape better without such a large crowd. I really enjoyed my time hiking, catching the sun rise and set, and sightseeing here and I’m looking forward to coming back to this marvelous place in a few years. The Grand Canyon is such a wonderful place and a camera can’t do justice for how breathtaking the view is. No words can describe how amazing the Grand Canyon in all its glory is and you need to visit for yourself. The river cutting through rocks of beautiful shades of gold and the surrounding greenery combined with the blue sky makes quite the perfect and unique contrast. The Grand Canyon is definitely a place worthy of bucket lists and one you must see before you die!!! It is absolutely so gorgeous and serene here!

Amazing, amazing, amazing. Spectacular views that still seem fake as I go through my photos. We went in March when it was still pretty cold so it wasn’t that busy. Some of the trails were still icy so be careful with little ones. Definitely a must see bucket list item for all. Many trails for all levels, some are even fully paved all the way. To explore all that the park has to offer, spend 2-3 days here. Only con is the food in the park. The best option is the El Tovar hotel which requires reservations. All other options are school cafeteria quality food or pizza.

The Grand Canyon offers an unparalleled experience for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. Whether you’re hiking along the rim trails, taking a mule ride into the canyon, or rafting down the Colorado River, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The sheer size and scale of the canyon are impossible to fully comprehend until you witness it firsthand. The layers of rock, carved by millions of years of geological activity, tell a story of Earth’s history that is both fascinating and humbling.
The visitor facilities are well-maintained, with informative exhibits and helpful staff members ready to assist with any questions. Be sure to stop by the Grand Canyon Village for souvenirs and dining options with panoramic views.
Overall, visiting the Grand Canyon was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that exceeded all my expectations. It’s a must-see destination for anyone seeking to marvel at the wonders of nature.
Located in Prescott, Watson Lake is a picturesque body of water with dark blue waters and impressive granite rock formations. There are many outdoor activities available for visitors to enjoy, such as fishing, kayaking, canoeing, rock climbing, hiking, and camping.
This was a very beautiful lake. You cannot swim however due to high levels of mercury in the water. There is a nice hike that you can do around the lake, it can get quite rugged at times, and you will have to climb over a few boulders along the way, but it is a fun and challenging hike! The rock formations around the lake are spectacular, and make the lake quite unique. You can kayak in the lake and enjoy the view. The lake is held up by a dam on the north side of the lake. If you happen to be in the area, I recommend checking this place out. It is a nice place to get views, and a wonderful place for a quick hike. This place is great for everyone! And it only costs around $3 to get in when we went there!

Hi y'all, Watson lake park is the best place to go to experience the lake from a kayak or conoes perspective. You can rent kayaks right on the shoreline there Absolutely awesome!
This particular review is regarding the scenic overlook parking area approximately a 1/2 mile north of Prescott lakes parkway on highway 89.
From this area you're able to walk to the kayak rental area and access the Peavine trail without having to pay the 3 dollar entrance fee.
But the main draw for me is the photo opportunities that are possible without ever having to leave your car.
But the conditions have to be just right. The following photos I took were on a rainy day in February.
It seems like the sun bouncing off the clouds on to the Dells lining Watson lake at sunset produces this affect.
If you're into that try to time your trip when it's more likely to be cloudy in the area...of if you want to save a few bucks; well there you go.

We recently visited Watson Lake on our way home and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The lake was beautiful, the rock formations were brilliant, and we had a great time paddle boarding. We will definitely be visiting again.
As soon as we arrived at Watson Lake, we were struck by its beauty. The lake was crystal clear and surrounded by stunning rock formations. It was the perfect spot for a day of paddle boarding.
We had a great time exploring the lake on our paddle boards. The water was calm and the scenery was breathtaking. The rock formations were particularly impressive, with towering cliffs and unique shapes. We enjoyed paddling around and taking in the views.
But the beauty of the lake and the rock formations wasn't the only highlight of our visit. We also appreciated the convenience of the facilities at Watson Lake. There was plenty of parking and the rental process was easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed for a great day on the water.
Overall, I am extremely impressed with Watson Lake and will definitely be returning for more paddling adventures in the future. If you're a fan of paddle boarding or just want to enjoy the beauty of nature, I highly recommend giving Watson Lake a try. It's sure to become one of your new favorites!

Beautiful place to spend some time relaxing. You can rent a kayak and go kayaking in the lake just no swimming. View from up top was beautiful and the place was not that crowded. Best time to visit the lake is early morning or later in the evening. There is an entry fee for day time entry and for overnight camping. There is a designated area for the camping and recreational activities. Plenty of parking so no issue there. Hike around the lake is easy to moderate (depending on the hikers capacity) but a perfectly tracked way with easy walk.
So, Enjoy !!!

Absolutely stunning. Cannot swim in water due to high mercury I believe but enjoyed walking around and taking in the view. You can also see a decent amount of different birds.

A beautiful, short hike close to downtown! The rocks surrounding the lake are breath-taking. I started from the North shore, near the boat ramp and went clockwise. Instead of planning this ahead of time like I normally do, I decided to just wing it and go as far as I had time for and turned around whenever I needed to.
The hike is somewhat technical, there are parts where you have to climb up a little. I highly recommend wearing a good pair of grippy trail/hiking shoes to help you get better hold on the rocks. What's great about the trails here are they are marked with white dots, so as long as you're following the white dots, you won't stray off the trails and get yourself lost (even though you might veer off to a different trail).
In about a mile in or so, you'd come across a man-made little waterfall!
Entrance/parking is $3 for an all-day pass. Check the website for hours because hours vary depending on season.

Always a favorite in our family. Our kids are ages 4, 8 and 10 and they've been coming here since they were toddlers.
Fee is $3.
Bring mosquito repellent in the summer months.
Kayak and paddle boat rentals are available.
Small playground available.

Great place for a hike! We weren’t quite sure where to get on the trail but we did find an entry point near the boat/kayak launch.

Beautiful man made lake. The rock formations with the surrounding water makes for some beautiful views and photography. Lots of nooks and crannies to explore, some nice fun trails. There’s also some picnic areas and nice clean bathrooms. I also saw they have a frisbee golf course. Only $2 to get into the park, which is a great deal. I’d highly recommend for fishing, hiking, kayaking (they have rentals onsite) picnics, family gatherings, etc. I also saw a kids playground. Great place to check out if you’re in Prescott!

The water I. The lake is filthy but the natural view of the lake is amazing. Never been to a lake surrounded by rocks. The recreational area is also very nice and comfortable. Such a good place to enjoy hiking in a beautiful day!

This lake and the surroundings are gorgeous, unique, and offer lots of activities. There are several hiking trails around and among the rocks. Just follow the white dots painted on the rocks along the trails. The view is spectacular. There are kayak rentals available, small sailboats, or you can bring your own. The entrance fee is $3 per car. There is a small playground for kids, benches all around the lake, and a grassy area to bring your blanket and have a picnic on. It's definitely one of my favorite spots in Arizona. Don't miss it if you're in the Prescott area.

Watson lake is a beautiful spot. Easy access, great park. Great hiking. Lots of parking
Micah Buennagel — Google review
A favorite for the beautiful lake views and scenery with diverse hiking trails (that aren't just dirt paths) and even waterfalls!
Hike around the lake down to the other side of the dam took about an hour on the Watson Lake and Flume Trail.
Trail includes areas which require some minor climbing.
Large open green in park area provides perfect opportunity for field games.
There is also a playground and restrooms as well as gazebos and picnic tables scattered about park.
As others mentioned - entry is free on Wednesdays, otherwise $6/ vehicle.
Only negative comment is that the stench coming off the lake, while at water level and down wind, was not pleasant, but odor was no longer detectable once climbing.

I love the sceneries in this area.
We went there just before the sunset and it was beautiful 😍
It’s early September here and I love the weather.
- Clean restroom 🚻
-Enough parking 🅿️
-Paddle boats 🛶
-Sanctuary of birds 🦢
-Perfect for photography 📷
- Not so crowded
-Perfect for family picnic

Beautiful area with great scrambling trails. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky but we got caught in a thunderstorm at the dam. There is nowhere to take shelter so we got soaked but there were cool waterfalls that emerged from everywhere.

I'll never travel to Sedona without this trip planner again
The Grand Canyon Railway offers a casual restaurant and a cozy pub. The train whistle can be heard in the morning air as guests hop on board for an event-filled journey to the Grand Canyon. Singing along with musicians, participants in an enactment of an Old West train robbery can enjoy the antics of western characters while travelling to one of the world's true wonders.
I could not recommend this enough. Everyone we talked to was very friendly with great recommendations. The cowboy performance was a delight, even for adults. We ended up missing the train (be aware they are prompt and you cannot be even 1 minute late), but they worked with us and rescheduled us for the next day (no addtl. cost) and we stayed in the Railway Hotel for the night. You get the perfect amount of time to explore the canyon (we chose to explore ourselves and did not pay for the bus tour). They even provided maps, walked us through them, answered questions, and ensured everyone knew the best places to spend time before we arrived at the canyon. Would highlight recommend the dome seating - it gives you a great view, it has less seating so is quieter, free snacks and water/sodas, friendly service, cheap alcoholic drinks for those wanting to order, and live music to pass the time. This was a great relaxing way to see the grand canyon and I would definitely recommend this.
The hotel itself was nice with free parking, a pool (hot tub was under maintenance), and Williams was a cute town to explore with lots of shops, restaurants, and some bars.

We bought the travel package for a 2 night stay and train tickets to the grand canyon. The workers at the front desk were very nice and brought up extra bedding immediately when we asked for more. The train depot workers were so nice and made the whole experience easy. The hotel is slightly out dated but still SO worth the price! I would recommend to everyone! Best way to experience the Grand Canyon!

I stayed in this hotel based on reviews and photos on their website. I’m sure there are cheaper hotels out there that are much closer to the Grand Canyon. This hotel is about 53 miles to the Grand Canyon, which also threw me off when I google search. I was looking for a hotel closest to the Grand Canyon. I didn’t have prior reservation, so I had to call the front desk. Initially, I was told there’s a small patio overlooking the mountain, so I booked the suite for $450/night thinking this will be better than the Hilton or Marriott where I normally stay. When I got here, I thought I came to the wrong address. But because it was already late, I didn’t have a choice but to check in. I reserved the room for two nights, but when I saw the room, it was even more devastating. I was told the check in time was 3pm, but when I checked in, I had to wait till almost 4pm. Finding your room is like going through a maze. The carpet, walls and the doors looks like they are from the 70s. The sofa sleeper, carpet bathrooms, walls, curtains, furniture, bathroom are all very much dated, not well kept and need a good cleaning and sanitizing. This is definitely a one-star motel, not a 3 star hotel. If it wasn’t already late, I would have not stayed the night, so I turned around and cancelled the second night. I immediately returned to the front desk and canceled the second night. If it wasn’t freezing and I was already from the four-hour drive, I would turned around left. The front desk told me that they have a no cancellation policy within 72 hours. But, I told them that no one told me that when I called the front desk the same day I checked in. My receipt and confirmation didn’t say anything about the 72 hour policy. I think everything about the website is misleading and misrepresentation. In the end, they charged for one night for $435 with the military discount. It would have been $511 per night. This is a total rip off. I don’t know how anyone could give a good review of this place. The company must have paid those people or they are bots. For those looking for a comfortable and clean place, go elsewhere. The pictures may not reflect the stain on the couch and marks on the wall. while there is a shower curtain in the bathroom, there was nothing else that keeps the water from flowing in the whole bathroom. So, the whole bathroom is wet and slippery.

We had a nice 2 day stay with one day of taking the train to the Grand Canyon and back. Rooms are very nice but nothing very special. Comfortable and clean and nicely kept. Some things appear to be pretty new so I suspect it has been renovated not too long in the past. Overall I would have to say I would come here again.

The lobby is beautiful, as are the rooms at first glance. The curtains were ripped to shreds and the paint was peeling off of most walls in the restroom. Nice pool area with a large hot tub. Could use a size improvement with the amount of people the hotel can accommodate.
We ate at the Fred Harvey for dinner and breakfast. It was good, not 5 stars or anything but better than a golden corral. The breakfast was nice and included an omelet station. The dinner didn't have much variety and the carving station meat was very dry and cold. Dinner did include a pasta station.
The building where you get the train tickets and meal vouchers had a large giftshop and the staff had great customer service.
The train is comfortable and the staff is very knowledgeable. Cafe Car is very pricey (even for it being a tourist attraction). Great views on the way to the Grand Canyon.
Ayden Hart — Google review
The lobby really won me over at this hotel. Big, beautiful hearth, large leather couches, and a warm and cozy feel. What made me give less stars was the service. Our room had tagging on the window screen which was so depressing after walking in with kids and paying nearly $300. I had to complain about it twice before they removed the screen a day later. What really stood out to me was from the reception desk to the gift shop employee to the buffet staff, ever worker there looked and acted miserable. This does not include the Polar Express experience, which had great service. The hotel employees need to understand what “service with a smile” is and how it means a lot to those staying there. Would return, with hopes of a more pleasant staff.

Love all the grand canyon paintings, a suitable hotel for the town. Everyone is very friendly. Free coffee in the lobby in the morning!
I don't know if it was just our room, but the hot and cold were backwards in our shower. We figured it out but there was a moment of "oh no, no hot water" 😂

We booked a 2 night stay at the RV park. It was perfect. The amenities were wonderful, nice showers, laundry room; a short walk to the train depot. As for our train experience it was fabulous. Words can’t express how amazing our train car attendant, Alicia was. She has a brilliant spirit and smile. She made everyone on the train feel like we’ve known her forever. She shared stories of her family and experiences with the company. Her love for her family & company shined through.
The musicians, robbers, Marshall and western show was fantastic.
Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
We look forward to coming back again.

Purchased the three night package traveling to the Grand Canyon. The hotel itself has been refurbished and the rooms look like a modern hotel. Clean and well taken care of. They make it so easy to get all your luggage to and from the Canyon as you ride the train. I would definitely stay here and purchase another package if we come back to the Grand Canyon. Kids and adults both had a great time.

The hotel lobby felt very ...100 years ago... with its huge fireplace roaring, giant chandelier and open lobby. The wood moldings everywhere captured the essence of what it must have felt like in olden times.
The large paintings of the Canyon and the Remington bronzes were impressive.
The old fashioned, imported bar was delightful.
Our room was clean, modern and the bathroom was way beyond most standard, better chain hotels. All staff were exemplary!
We'll be back soon. Keep up your high standards. Memorable!

We loved this hotel. Quite modern and comfortable, yet somehow historical. The train station and railway itself were responsible in large part for that. But the hotel itself has an old-school feel. A good vibe.
For a railroad buff like me, the hotel and train package were on my bucket list.
Our room was large and immaculate. After our experience with a hotel in the Grand Canyon it was very pleasant surprise.

We didn’t stay at the hotel but we rode the train to the Grand Canyon and it was super awesome! The cowboys did a great job! Our cart attendant on the train was absolutely amazing. I think her name was Jane. The train had a little cafe and it was super nice! Will be back!

Room were standard rooms but services were great. One thing though, fitness room doesn’t open until 7 so it was hard to get a morning workout in without missing the morning luggage deadline. We stayed two days, one night in Williams and another night in the Grand Canyon. Transition were as smooth as it can be, our luggage were waiting for us in the room and when we got out of train. The scenery was okay but there were food and fun activities on the train. Overall we really enjoyed the trip! Thanks!

This is our 3rd time staying at the RV park. The Grand Canyon Railway Park has full hook ups, bathroom/showers, a laundry facility, a small gift shop and a boarding facility. You also have access to the hotel pool. The whole park including the bathrooms/showers are kept clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We will definitely keep coming back!

The web site does not do it real justice, it’s actually much nicer. I absolutely loved our stay. It started with our reservations, the level of service was unlike anything I have ever experienced. The front counter ladies were warm and It felt like coming home, instead of checking into a hotel.
The place was immaculate and very clean. The fireplace in the lobby felt more like a home than in a large greeting area. The grounds were very clean and very well managed. They had just started to put up Christmas decorations so it was magical for us.

Our family of five stayed three nights while visiting the Grand Canyon and we highly recommend the hotel as a great option while in the area. Rooms and facilities in general are great! It's an hour away from the Grand Canyon but located just one block away from Williams' main street which offers several high quality dining and shopping options. I was able to see hotels at the Grand Canyon park and their rates, and all in all I'm happy we stayed here!
Maria de Aurrecoechea — Google review
We tried to stay here because the reviews were good but the first room we were in had cigarette butts on the window sill and the second had a horrible smell. The beds were as hard as the floor and the pillows were super flat. The food at the restaurant was basically like cafeteria food. That being said the employees were all super kind and tried their best to be helpful. The girl at the counter gave us a full refund and we were able to get a hotel elsewhere.

I will say absolutely must on doing the train to the Grand Canyon. The entire staff that works on the train was amazing and so was that experience. However the hotel was not very good! For how expensive it is their staff was very UNHELPFUL they closed the pool due to some “cleaning emergency” and didn’t inform us guest we had to pay to go to a community pool, the hotel is huge and we got no direction on where our room was and literally had to walk all over to find the room. The labeling of where the rooms are located are terrible. Everything else was great however we will not be staying at the hotel again

We chose to visit the Grand Canyon by rail to avoid car rental and driving/parking. Flight from South Carolina to Flagstaff airport then van transport to railway hotel. Train to the canyon, 3 nights, then return trip the same in reverse. Hotel was laid out a bit like a maze, just carefully follow the signage to your room number. Train ride was stress free and comfortable. Return train ride is more entertaining. We found the AZ staff and locals entertaining, genuine, and friendly the entire time.

Rooms means RV sites on this review…
Outstanding facility. Immaculately clean. RV sites are level, long enough for large RV and tow car. Power, water & sewer services - no issues.
Centrally located to everything in Williams, and if you are using the Grand Canyon Railway it’s only a 5 minute walk. RV site also allows you to use the main hotel pool & hot tib.

Very nice, clean, quiet, comfortable, and beautiful hotel.
The package deal for the train ride to Grand Canyon, enterence to the South Rim, hotel stay, and food is a really great deal. It is well worth the cost and so much fun. The train ride is packed with information, humor, and beautiful views and really fun. The entertainment before and on the trip back and forth is worth it. Grand Canyon South Rim is breathtaking. The buffet dinner wasn't that good. The buffet breakfast was great.

We stayed at the RV park. It is real nice. Very clean, with really nice facilities. You can walk to the train station, or to restaurants from the RV park or the hotel. The train ride to the canyon was great. They have food, beverages, and entertainment on the train both going to and coming from the canyon.

I went with my family for the Polar Express, and we all loved it. The rooms were very nice and the buffet style restaurant was great. The line for the restaurant was quite long, but once we got in, we had a great waiter, and all of the food tasted great. The train experience was really fun (even though the hot chocolate was warned), and the beds were very clean. They even had cold water in the lobby.

We stayed in the RV park and our friends had a suite at the hotel. We really enjoyed the RV park. Spaces were easily accessible, clean, and well maintained. The laundry was reasonably priced, bathrooms were clean, and the park was very child friendly. The pool was heated (albeit a little chilly still) and the hot tub was hot. RV park guests get a key card to access the pool and other amenities of the hotel. We did the train to the South Rim with our young kids (3 and 18 months) and had a really good time. Definitely would recommend and would do again.

The hotel rooms are dated. Parking is difficult. The buffet is overpriced (+$30). The pasta station was exceptional and the only thing on the buffet that was remarkable. The restaurant was short staffed, but the waiters were working hard to satisfy customers. The entertainment in the dining area was enjoyable. It snowed our last night there leaving ice on the walkways and stairs. No attempt was made to mitigate the situation. Negligent and little concern for customers.

anybody going on the grand canyon railroad train. They have a really nice package that includes the Hotel , Dinner & Breakfast at the adjacent restaurant as well as the train ride. Price for my husband and me and our 2 grandchildren was about $650. One of the things that I really liked was everything is in one place. The depot, the restaurant and the hotel are all in one convenient location, so you don't have to drive from one place to another. It was snowing when we arrived yesterday, so this was really a plus for us. The hotel is a little vintage, but that's part of the charm. They have a beautiful huge fireplace in the lobby and nice comfortable couches. There is a nice indoor pool with a Jacuzzi. Rooms are comfortable. There are small refrigerators and a microwave, which is nice. Beds are very comfortable. The hotel is 2 stories tall. Parking is free, and lot is well lit. The hotel is very family oriented, but they do have a nice bar/lounge too. We had a fabulous time!

What I liked: Awesome pool and hot tub. Really nice play-ground for the kids. Beautiful location. The buffet had a toy train that went all the way around the dining room. The kids loved that. The live music on the train was awesome. The time gap between arrival and departure at the Grand canyon was good for littles ones.
What I didn't like: Very expensive for not very high quality rooms. The game room is like an arcade, so we didn't even take the kids in there. I didn't add dinner to my package because I was hoping there were other food options other than paying for a full-price buffet for a 2-year. We ended up having to go to the buffet there anyway and it cost us $110 for 2 adults and 3 kids. Staff seemed kind of annoyed with me for really minor questions (like how do we access the pool?). It was a very limited selection of food and not worth the money because of the ages of my kids. I wouldn't recommend the train ride for little ones; it was too long for my 2-year-old.

My family and I embarked on a remarkable adventure with the Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel, and it truly was an experience that exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were swept into a world of wonder, with the historic charm of the railway and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere of the hotel setting the stage for a memorable trip.
The train ride to the Grand Canyon was the highlight of our visit. Gazing out of the dome car, we were treated to panoramic views of the breathtaking landscapes, a serene and majestic sight that left us in awe. The journey was not only a feast for the eyes but also a step back in time, enhanced by the entertaining and informative narratives provided by the staff. Their enthusiasm for sharing the history and beauty of the area added a rich layer to our adventure.
Our accommodations at the hotel were comfortable and inviting, offering a peaceful retreat after a day filled with exploration. The friendly and attentive hotel/train staff made us feel right at home, ensuring that our stay and ride was pleasant and worry-free.
However, our dining experiences at the nearby Fred Harvey Restaurant left something to be desired. Our first visit for dinner was met with a selection that was somewhat picked over, despite arriving an hour before closing. The breakfast the following morning, while offering better variety, didn't quite hit the mark in terms of flavor, although the service remained impeccable, with friendly staff making every effort to provide a welcoming dining experience. Giving it another chance for dinner, we found the situation unchanged and decided to explore other dining options in the charming town of Williams, which did not disappoint.
Despite the dining hiccups at the Fred Harvey Restaurant, our overall experience with the Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel was unforgettable. The magic of the train ride, the beauty of the Grand Canyon, and the warmth of the hotel staff far outweighed our dining experiences. For those looking to capture the essence of the Grand Canyon in a unique and enchanting way, this is a journey not to be missed. Just a tip for future travelers: consider exploring some local eateries in Williams for a more consistent dining experience.
Bearizona Wildlife Park is a safari park located off Route 66 in Williams, Arizona. The park consists of a 3 mile drive thru and Fort Beari more. Visitors can see different types of wildlife including wolves, bears, bison, mountain goats and more.
GREAT CLOSE UP VIEWING OF GRIZZLIES in the walking part of the park!!! I'm not sure about other seasons but autumn is an excellent time to visit. I'm looking forward to visiting again in the spring. This is a great place to spend a day. I love that they have an area with picnic tables and allow you to bring in food of your own. This makes a visit possible for larger families which would be pay for 6 or 8 meals on top of admission. They do have food offerings and as I visited with just my daughter we enjoyed funnel cake fries and popcorn after our picnic lunch. The gift shop had some nice caps marked down on clearance which made me very happy. The were busy badgers, roaming raccoons, playful otters; so many fun things to view. The drive through area combined with the walking area seems to be quite unique to me.

Wow! I can't even begin to describe how much I loved this place! We did the walking part first and it's amazing! They have areas where you can go in and see the animals from really close, like a cave where you can see the grizzly bears really closely through the glass. It's beautiful! The drive-thru part was incredible as well. I saw so many bears and beautiful animals. It really is worth what you pay to enter and the facilities are nice and comfortable, plus the gift shop is great with acceptable prices. Definitely want to go back and I totally recommend going here.

This place is AMAZING! Best to go early in the morning when the animals are feeding and most active. Once in we are able to drive through multiple times enabling us to view the animals in different spaces and situations. We also enjoyed the walking tour where we were able to get closer views to many more animals. Make sure you make it to the 10:30 am bear feeding where the rangers share their knowledge and show off the beautiful bears.

The kids loved it. Drove in with a camper van sprinter. Had bikes on the rear, they asked to remove the bikes before entering. The staff are very friendly. They do look like they want to be there. I expected to stay for an hour only because of the size of the zoo but I spent more than 3 hours because the kids were having so much fun.

Had a blast on Friday morning. Not too many cars and we were able to take our time through the park. We got to see all the animals actively roaming and the kids had a blast. The bears were extra playful and the kids were so excited to see them. Highly recommend!

A bit pricey but I gotta say I think we went at the best time which was late afternoon (as stated on the website). The bears were very active and were very close to the road and eating their meals. There weren't a lot of cars so that was nice while driving around. There was a nice gift shop and the walking area was cool too. I do think it would quickly get expensive for a family. For 2 adults we paid almost $80. I just hope that means the animals are getting quality care!

This is our second time here and we just love it. Such a great little park. They have expanded some of the walk through exhibits and added a nice restaurant and gift shop since we were there last. Highly recommend going through the drive through a few times. We got there about 10:30 and some of the animals weren't moving around much. Did the walk through part and did one more drive loop on the way out and the animals were far more active.

We had a fantastic day at Bearizona! We started by going through the walk through portion. It was extra special to be able to get so close to the animals. The wildlife shows were fantastic, with lots of information and opportunities to get up close and personal with some of the animals (and dad jokes for days). The drive through portion was so much fun! We went through multiple times. It was like a life sized version of ISpy looking for all the animals. 10/10 would recommend spending a day here.

Such a fun experience! First time visiting so we didn’t really know what to expect. It took less than 10 minutes to get in and they had multiple lanes open. We purchased tickets online prior to arriving. We went late morning and most of the animals were sleeping or laying in the shade. It was still fun to see the different animals. It was nice you could take your time driving through and most people respected that. Parking was easy to find and there were two entrances into the wildlife park. The wildlife park was just right and the bears really stole the show! We could have watched them for hours! There are a few spots around to eat and a cool gift shop. I’d go back for sure and choose a different time of day where the animals may be more active or in a cooler month when the sun isn’t so hot for them!

One family told us it was okay another hyped it up a bit, but I would have to say it really exceeded our expectations.
We plan to go back again when our youngest is better able to appreciate it.
The drive through part was great. Some people complain about waiting for slow traffic but the roads are all wide enough to go past someone taking pictures. At one point we thought we might be holding up the line so we just looped back around the buffalo enclosure and took out time to circle around again when there were no cars.
The walk through portion was great too. One of the zoo keepers had a little skunk she was showing off to the kids.
I will say there was active construction going on in one part of the park but I didn't mind at all it was good to see they were continuing to expand and improve the place. It was also neat to see exactly how the stone work that make up the walls of the enclosures is actually made.
We were there on a Friday and it was not crowded at all. Not sure if weekends are busier.

This place is awesome. We had the best time with both the drive through and walk through parks. Highlights for us include the 5 month old baby arctic foxes, the jaguars, wolves, and all the bears! They have several food and beverage stands, a restaurant and bar. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Everyone that worked there was super nice and seemed to genuinely love their jobs which always has a positive impact on the overall experience. 🤗

This was on the list for a while and it was certainly worth the trip. For me this was just an hour and a half drive up, so easy peasy. I arrived later in the day. There was no line. Pulled right in and paid the admission. Be sure to check the website. It is an extra $5 per person on the weekend. It was fun to drive around and see the animals for sure. Haven't done something like this since I was a kid on the east coast. People are kinda of stupid and don't follow the rules sadly. When you see an animal get close to you, you are supposed to keep going. Most people would stop so they could picture right out of their window. Watching folks do this with bears inches away, simply made me cringe. The only bummer for me was that I wanted to walk around and unfortunately I am at the moment handicapped as I have hip issues. So I did not get to do the walking tour.

Amazing safari style animal park. Animals are well kept, and they have a big territory to roam around. We drove thru 2 times and got to see more animals than the first time. Take your time, and a lot to see there. There are restaurants, gift shops, clean restrooms, and walk through zoo as well. Definitely recommend it and will return.

A really fun place for the family to go to and see the wildlife there. You basically have two options, one, you can drive around in your own vehicle through a guided path to see all the animals, or you can do the walking tour to see the other animals in the zoo. Definitely worth coming with the kids. When driving though be careful not to puncture your tires. We found a screw in our tire just after we finished the driving tour, but luckily there was a maintenance crew onsite to help us inflate our tires so we could go to the nearest tire repair shop to get it patched. The staff were also super friendly and helpful. Definitely a place you have to visit if you are in Williams, AZ. ❤️

This was the coolest up close experience. I thought I would be scared but the excitement is so much better. The animals are very calm and present so that you can see them as you drive through. The park you can walk through has additional animals that are not shy. Really fun place for the whole family. I LOVED the restaurant setup. Really big gift shop for souvenirs.

The drive-through portion is worth the trip alone. We have had bear, wolves, buffalo, and reindeer all be within a few feet of our car! It's so cool! You can go through it as fast or as slow as you want, so there is no need to feel pressured by a line of cars.
The walking portion is fun as well! Multiple habitats to observe. A petting enclosure. Shows throughout the day. Live music/entertainment. Would highly recommend the otter feeding event where you can feed the otters. It's so much fun! There is a snack shop and restaurant, along with multiple food vendors and drink stands (yes, including adult drinks to walk around with). Large gift shop as well! Don't forget about the elk and jaguar habitats - you have to go through the gift shop to see them.

The place is beautiful! The drive around isn't as long as I expected, but either way, it's still a decent length, and you can go at your own pace. The wildlife they had available for viewing in this portion was interesting, saw a bear taking a bath, saw some gorgeous wolves, some big horns, and some little bears. I'm sure kids would love this portion. Once you got to the area where you walk around, there were refreshments, alcohol, cute otters, porcupines, javelina's, and bobcats. There were other animals as well, and the entire area was just beautiful. There were a lot of great spots for pictures. It's definitely a fun place for a couple or family alike. The gift shop was very large and had a bunch of cute gifts and most of them very affordable. All the stuff I interacted with was very friendly. We passed by it on our way to Vegas and decided to stop by on our way back. I do not regret that decision, and you will not either!

What a beautiful place! The enclosures are amazing. All the animals look happy and healthy. Every year they are doing more and more improvements and always looking to improve.
The food is great, the beer is great! I don't have any complaints visiting besides we spend too much at the gift shop. Also wish the amazing train set was easier to see in the gift shop. It's a work of art.

Took my grandson here yesterday! We had so much fun! We arrived as soon as they opened so we were able to see every single animal on the ride and walk around! They were all out eating! We absolutely will be returning! The weather was BEAUTIFUL!

I was very skeptical, but this place was way better than expected. The drive through part of the animal exhibit was really impressive, with elk and wolves and bears that would walk right up next to your car. Then the traditional "zoo" part of the park was also very well done, and the food at the restaurant was actually surprisingly good. Easy drive from the south rim of the Grand Canyon, if you realize (as we did) that it wouldn't entertain young kids as long as we thought a giant natural wonder would.

Bearizona was AMAZING! It was so cool to drive through the park and have the animals come up to your car. Staff made sure that the areas you had to have your windows up, that windows were up and everyone was kept safe. I would highly recommend anyone of any age going here. They also have a nice walk through zoo that looks like they’re still working on adding exhibits to. Cost was $30/person and well worth it!

What a wonderful place! My family and I visited after seeing the Grand Canyon and we just had the most wonderful time. We did the wildlife drive 3 times.. all of the animals are so healthy and curious! We saw so much. The gift shop is amazing and the food is great! One of the best experiences I’ve ever had traveling. All of the staff are so nice too!

We did a family trip to Bearizona for my granddaughters 4th birthday. The drive up there was absolutely beautiful and took us back to Christmas 🎄 Bearizona doesn't have any coupons or savings unless you come during the week. Price is a tab bit high on the weekend. So, we made every penny count. We drove around the park multiple times, and we saw more animal activity towards the afternoon. (Make sure to gas up before you get to Bearizona) We walked around to see every single animal (which is not a lot). We looked around through the gift shop, which is big and has lots of cool stuff. We didn't eat at the restaurant that I saw on IG. It does have nice scenery. (Maybe next time.) We left wet since we were having snow ❄️ fights as we walked through the park. Some people were annoyed, but we were having fun. We bought some hot chocolate as we called it quits and drove around one last time. Once you leave the park, you can't reenter. I recommend you try it at least once. This was my second time. Please let me know what you think?

Such a fun place for kids and adults! We drove through twice than walked the mini zoo, had lunch and visited the gift shop. Weather was perfect and all the animals were out. White Bison, Bighorn Sheep, otters playing to Bears roaming the grounds was amazing.

Unfortunately I have major buyers remorse. This place is so expensive! I asked the cashier if she thought it was worth it and she said of course she was biased. So we paid $150.00 for 4 of us. Our 3 year old was free. For that price I was expecting so much more.
I do want to say that the park is beautiful. It is really well done in my opinion as far as atmosphere goes. However, we hardly saw any animals. The drive was so boring to our kids because they could not see anything. We did finally see a couple of bears sleeping and some bison eating hay.
We stopped and did the walk through. Same story. All the animals were hiding in their logs, caves, holes, etc. Or just sleeping. We did see the big turkey. But we have wild turkeys roam around our town all of the time...so not a great surprise to see. I know the owners can't make the animals perform or do tricks or whatever but we were just so bummed. I saw all the reviews of how great it was...but we were not so lucky.
I will never go back and frankly I think they are charging way too much for the experience we had. We visited the Fort Worth Zoo last week for half the cost and got to see hundreds of animals and had the beat time. Honestly, I would like a refund.

Beautiful clean park!
Loved driving through the park and seeing the bears/wolves up close, truly a unique experience.
The drive through allows you to have the animals go right by your car.
The people there are friendly and the encloses are well kept.

This was a fun day! Admission tickets pay for the ride through and the walk through; and you can do the walk through and drive through as many times as you want. My family got there at 9 when they opened so animals were active and some were not. So then we did the walk through and had lunch. We did one last ride through and the animals that were not active were now active. It was fun the kids had a blast looking out the car window and running around.

Definitely a nice place to visit with the kids. The drive in portion lives up to expectations; we had many close ups with bears, wolves, and bison. The walk-in exhibits were well maintained, and every animal is easily viewable and active, including getting to see 2 grizzlies wrestling around. The jaguars are very interactive with guests! We will absolutely be returning.

Too expensive for the experience. $130 for my husband, me, and our two grandchildren. The drive-through section was fairly short, and we didn't see that many animals. The walk around section is better with more to see. There is a restaurant on site and plenty of beautiful Pine Trees. The petting zoo was nice. The coolest part was seeing the bears up in the trees- I was amazed at how far up they could climb! There are gift shops as well. We had fun & I liked Beararizona- I just felt it was overpriced.

This is a neat drive through animal adventure as well as a walk through animal adventure. I went on a Sunday. I feel $35 is a bit steep for an adult. It's kind of small and I expected more animals for the price. The drive section can be frustrating when it's busy as people just stop for a very long time to take photos. As well as the bear loops getting locked in from too much traffic and needing to merge back in just to get past. The exhibits were nice, and I enjoyed reading all the info. Only rating 4* because of the difficulties getting through the driving portion in a timely manner (they should limit the amount of cars going through at a time), the price, and the overall size. I enjoyed tossing a fish into the otters. They have a large gift shop as well as a restaurant and bar. They have a coffee stand outside as well. There was another shop near the entrance, but the music was so loud and overstimulating that I walked in and walked right back out. It's nice you can go through the drive multiple times.

We had been told that this was a place to go. There are two areas. One to drive through and another to walk. We drove through a very well-built facility with natural living space for several species of animals. This seemed like a place that felt like the people really cared about the animals.

This place is Amazing! Tons of animals in the drive thru safari part from bears, bison, wolfs, and big horn. The walk in part of the park is like a zoo with better enclosures for the animals than most major zoos I have been to. They have restaurants and bars and even snack and coffee stands in the park. This place is expanding every year. I recommend also visiting the Canyon Coaster and route 66 part of Williams which are all within the general area of Bearizona!

This is always a wonderful idea. I haven't been for a few years and the kids haven't been since they were too little to remember, so it was a great option for spring break. We got there in the afternoon in time to see them feeding the grizzly bears, and catch the wild show. Then we did the drive through and they'd just fed the bears so we saw all those fuzzy wuzzies. Definitely a place to visit again and again!
Jerome State Historic Park is a beautiful park featuring an old mansion that now houses a mining museum. The park boasts several outdoor displays and a picnic area for visitors to enjoy. It provides an in-depth history of Jerome and the mining industry in the area, with informative videos and two floors of exhibits. However, children may find it less engaging than adults due to its historical focus. The drive to the park can be winding but offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.
What a wonderful place! If you like learning about small town history this is a must. There is a fee to enter of $7 per adult (military discount is excepted).
Children would get bored.
Just getting here is one heck of a windy drive.

I enjoyed my visit to Jerome St. Hist. Park. The Douglas Mansion and the extensive museum were great. I also liked the Geology expert that was on site. He was able to provide a lot of insight on the mining exhibits.

Jerome unfortunately has turned into a tourist trap, where once it was a quaint small town to enjoy the many amenities now everything is way over priced but if you dont mind paying $18 for a burger or just bring a picnic theres a lot to see here and enjoy, walk around and explore.

Lots of information at this location. The museum is two stories and full of history, pictures and displays of all sorts. Very well organized and put together. Enjoyed this very much with my mother on our road trip.

The history of Jerome is stored at Jerome State Historic Park. The ticket is around $7 to get in. The museum has a lot of pictures, rocks, and historic machines and tools. The view from the parking lot is beautiful. It’s perfect for a day visit. I have been here in summer, and it was hot. I heard it would be beautiful in the winter time so I will definitely try to be here during the winter time.

This beautiful old home turned museum is a great step back in time to when this town was flourishing. The amount of artifacts greatly help give a since of how hard the times were. Highly recommend next time your in Jerome.

We enjoyed touring the old mining history. They had this amazing trolley car I had to capture the story along with the beauty in the green grass and trees peaking through. The flowers were so gorgeous!

We went to the Douglas Mansion before we left Jerome altogether and I'm so glad we made this visit. We've been coming to Jerome for years and never visited this park area. So thankful we did. There's a video you watch about Jerome and it's history, most things you don't learn even from the locals. The mansion is in great shape and a lot of originals remain. It's definitely worth the few bucks per person to go in!!! Enjoy!!!

I love looking at historical homes with original architecture and furnishings. This mansion has original blueprints on display and you can wander through many of the original rooms. I loved the windows, the views, the original icebox, kitchen, fireplaces, and servants quarters. There have been a few changes but overall intact. We made a quick stop in Jerome and we definitely want to go back for more sightseeing. The guys working in the museum were very friendly.

Jerome is a ghost town, don’t worry about online pictures come and see yourself and explore the energy, especially if you have never seen a miners town. It’s really spooky if you visit in a rainy day in winter in clouds! Maybe museum is not very interesting but experience is. Remember it’s not the destination but the journey.
