Gorgeous, Breathtaking, Ever lasting Memories of Nature, Farragut Park is absolutely an amazing experience. The trails are awesome, durung the summer time you can swim in a few spots in the lake. The sights are something to stare at for hours. It's truly an awesome park.
I do wish some trails where a bit more maintenance and some under brush cleared a bit better possibly bring a 4 wheeler with a chipper attached, 4 man crew with chainsaws, could use the fallen logs for mulching. Just my opinion.

My wife and I love this place. It is become our regular go to place for outdoor activities camping bike riding and hiking. There’s miles and miles and miles of trails and let’s not forget frisbee golf. Campsites are nice and spread apart people are friendly. Great RC flying field.
Unfortunately Idaho state parks doubled their costs for out of state residence which makes a Farragut State Park and all other Idaho parks unaffordable. Yearly vehicle pass is now $80 and a one night stay is $74.
We will continue to go on daily basis but probably not to camp anymore. If you’re an Idaho resident I highly recommend this place. And if you want to get out for a day of hiking and biking there isn’t a better place around.

Farragut State Park is a great place to go for camping or hiking. Lots of trails with views of the lake. The day use area had large covered picnic areas with horse shoe pits and volley ball nets nearby. Lots of room for many people to gather together. There were swings for younger kids to play on too. Camping cabins were also real close to the day use area. The cabins appeared to be fairly new and well maintained. A note on the cabin said that the cabins has been cleaned after each use. Each cabin had its own fire pit and picnic table. The cabins also had electric lights and an air conditioner. No bathroom inside the cabin, but a bathroom facility was a short walk from the cabins. The only issue would be if someone had to get up during the night it would be a little walk in the dark. There were close trails near the day use area that were well maintained. Very beautiful spot.

Clean and organized. Lots to do both on and off the water. I loved that RV parking options were better than many camping areas with extra room to breathe and have a little privacy.
Trails were fun. Bayview was also fun and full of history.

We spent the day at Beaver Bay within Farragut State Park and it was perfectly lovely! It was 102° in town, but not for us! Under the shaded trees and next to the water, it felt like a perfect 75°. Unbelievable beauty and views!

What can I say, I love to visit the state parks. I almost always stop in the visitor center to see what's new and chat with the clerks. In the spring I look forward to hearing and watching the birds, ground squirrels and other critters. Walking the various trails, the people have been generally friendly. Of course, gotta stop and check out the wild flowers.

Nice group site. Plenty of space. 5 frisbee golf courses. newly marked hiking biking trails 14.5 mile perimeter trail fun less than 500 elevation change

Went to play Disc golf at Farragut and ended up camping. The courses ranged from easy to hard and were a blast to play. The park was clean and we didn't have any issues with getting a spot or camping.
Thomas Pham — Google review
I came to play the 5 disc golf courses and was not disappointed. There are a huge number of camping spaces including lots of full hookup RV sites, but we opted to stay in a camping camp that had heat and AC. Park has tons of lake frontage, trails, etc.
All in all an outstanding park with lots of space and lots of amenities.
goinupthegranby — Google review
Beautiful property and quiet, shaded, cared for campground. Stayed in Whitetail and were able to come without a reservation. Campground bathrooms were super clean. Easy access to potable water. Unfortunately, there were a lot of bees at our site. Minimal other bugs, though.
Marina Schmitt — Google review
I spent one night in a camping cabin in the winter. I thought paying $69 plus a reservation fee was quite expensive considering there are no winter services in the campground, you have to hike your stuff in to the cabin, and you have to clean it yourself. That being said the cabin was nice and it was a great experience.
When I checked in the ranger was very unhelpful. I had gone to ski but there was no snow so I asked about hiking in the park. She told me any hiking is good, and didn't point me to any specific trails. She really didn't want to interact with me. I couldn't find any maps in the park, and didn't have internet so I drove around aimlessly for a while then decided to leave. Being a ranger seems like such a cool job, don't know why this ranger didn't want to help me enjoy the park.
Ellie Knight — Google review
While the park itself is lovely, they have some of the most rude and disrespectful people working for them. The young lady at check in was particularly disrespectful and it seems typical of the people I have met there. The last time I went to the park was about 15 years ago and they were equally terrible then. I figured maybe they had changed but I was wrong.
Jesse Moore — Google review
We arrived at this park a little after 10 pm we had booked on line, didn’t see anything telling me to check in at the front office the park is extremely large.
When we were checking out the ranger ask who we were and if we had checked in, I stated I did, I did think I had to since I book & paid on line.
He said even though we were checking out, we had to check in or we would get a ticket.
I was disappointed he made us (used his position of authority) to go check in even though he took all our information saw that we were leaving.
We find the front office which isn’t located in any of the camps site it’s its own section.
With the shortage of workers in this country this park has plenty of employees to enforce rules that make no significant, when he already had written our information down visually saw and verbally spoke with us.
I check in only to be told to have a great day see you soon, that took an extra 1/2 hour because of parking and waiting in line to report I was checking in and out at the same time.
The park itself is big and nice, the toilets are at moments they do stink, they offer full hook-ups as well as tent sites. We chose not to use the toilets instead use our portable one the bathrooms were hit & miss.
I guess when you allocate more money hiring people to signing in people then checking bathrooms you end up with unclean bathrooms.
The lake is kind of hard to find I would say drive to it or ride your bike, lots of trails, the lake is absolutely beautiful.
The park is very clean and quite and well maintained.
Loree Good — Google review
I love Farragut State Park. There's so many trails and the water is beautiful. The mountains were very majestic looking with the different colors of green permanting in the sun.
Joanne Snodgrass — Google review
The park itself is nice. Campspots are not close to the lake but are good in size and provide some privacy. Great, groomed hiking trails. As other reviewers stated, staff is not welcoming. The individual checking us was unfriendly; almost flippant. Two of us drove to the S. Entrance with our scooters. The entry fee is per vehicle, so we decided to park one. The park would not allow us to park at the entrance. As we drove back to Bayview, a parking enforcement truck came out of nowhere. The park boundaries are deceiving because the entry gates are inside the park. Luckily for us, we had seen the signs and parked in town where parking was hassle free.

Camp sites are clean and good sized, boat launch is very accessible eazy in and out, fair amount of parking and prep areas. Plenty to do, beach, boat, kayak, cycle, hike. We really enjoyed our time there..

Wow, so beautiful ❤️. The water of Lake Pend Oreille - pronounced "pond da ray", was so refreshing and crystal clear. We went swimming at Idlewild Bay. There is a "store", Cast, Blast, & Relax"- Food & snacks and they rent: bicycles, kayaks, paddle boards, & fishing gear! on the path down to the lake, before you get to the water. There are flush toilets and nice showers there, too. Plenty of parking. The park itself has a lot to offer: Gift shop, Disc Golf, Tree to Tree Adventure Park, Camping, Boat Launch for watercraft, horse trails, llama trails, hiking trails, mtn bicycle trails, Shooting range, museum at the Brig Jr. Ranger Station, Equestrian Campground, Model Aircraft Field(Insurance required), fishing, picnic sites, group camping, dump station. Winter Recreation :snow shoeing, Cross Country Skiing, fat tire biking. When you first check in to the campground office, there is a very informative visitor center, very interesting. Worth your time to check it out.

Round Lake State Park
State park
Nature & Parks
Lakefront state park offers hiking/skiing trails, campsites & boating, plus views of local wildlife.
Pretty little lake, beautiful state park. Day use fee, but well worth it. Two long docks for fishing off of. Excellent for canoeing and kayaking. Nice swimming area between the docks, gentle grade. There is a campground here that I haven't seen or used but imagine it's nice. The yellow jackets are quite annoying here in late August. Lots of parking and plenty of trailer parking. Kids had a great time finding and catching frogs and snakes. Saw. Lots of people catching trout, good sizes too.
Curt Hayes — Google review
The campground is nice, with great showers and clean bathrooms. The beach area/docks is pretty small, with some weeds in the water, but once you get deep enough, the water is cleaner and fun to swim in. We were disappointed that out of state guests have to pay double what Idaho residents pay. Many campsites have sloping ground which is difficult for tenting. The lake is a good size for paddleboarding or kayaking.
Laura Kyle — Google review
Wonderful experience!! The camp ground was nice and shady, bathrooms clean, staff friendly, fishing was fantastic, wildlife amazing and view breathtaking! I would definitely suggest and hope to come back someday! Just FYI bring your own hand soap. Bathrooms have running water but they don't provide soap.

Round Lake is small but very beautiful. No gas motors are allowed on the lake, which makes it very peaceful. There is a hiking trail with several bridges all the way around the lake. Dogs are allowed on a leash. A nice dock to fish from and boat launch with beach for swimming. We love it there!
Paula Brost — Google review
I have never fished or camped here. However, I enjoy hiking the trail around the lake no matter what season it is. I’ve gone when it’s 90 degrees and when there’s been enough snow to snowshoe. The views never get old!
Michelle Hull — Google review
Lovely park - paid $14 to get in. Took a walk along the pond. It was a good place to stop and stretch your legs. We saw a few people fishing and another person walking a dog.
L Fev — Google review
The people at the visitors center were very helpful. It had all the amenities we needed, shower, electricity, water and restroom. The lake was close and beautiful with a well maintained sandy beach and dock to swim or fish from. There was a horseshoe pit too. We also enjoyed a hike around the lake. There were day use picnic tables and a covered reserve area. There wasn't a playground but it had a sandy beach, rocks and logs to climb on. Dogs are allowed in leashes.
Cindy Skinner — Google review
Beautiful place for a hike in the woods. About 2.5 miles around the lake. Lots of interesting sights. If you like trees, you'll love this place.
Campsites available too.
David McCoy — Google review
Great place to spend the day! The lake is perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding. The dock is nice for fishing. The "beach" isn't sandy, more like packed dirt, but still an okay place to park your stuff and sit in some chairs. Picnic shelters are available for larger groups. There are nice hiking trails too.
Camping area is better suited for tenting than RV's. The driveways aren't very long and just single width so you'd have to have a very small trailer or expect to park your vehicle in the overflow area.
Hidee Anyan — Google review
A cute little lake to take kayaks as well as hike around. Kids love catching snails that you turn in for free ice cream. A great way to spend your day having fun while helping the environment!
Julie — Google review
This is a picturesque little lake with a campground, picnic areas, and restrooms. It was intermittently windy and cold... not surprisingly, we had the lake to ourselves. But it was still lovely and very serene. We only spent a few hours fishing there, but all of us caught our limit!
Lessa Greenwood — Google review
Awesome little campground and lake. Easy to access but still secluded. Campground looks awesome for tent or car/van camping, it looks a little tight for anything much bigger than that. Lake is easy to access with about 10-15 parking spots available. It was frozen over when I went 12/31 and there were 4 people out ice fishing. I hiked the trail around the lake and it was easy to follow and snow packed the whole way.
I stayed at their Airbnb cottage with my baby & small dog, it was PERFECT and the hosts are so sweet. The alpacas/wildlife are great but if you’re looking for a getaway I would definitely check out their Airbnb 🙂
The cottage was warm & cozy with all of the things you would find in a well stocked hotel room plus a full kitchen and laundry. You’re in the mountains so it’s quiet and secluded as well. Treat yourself if you get the chance!

Unbelievably nice and amazing family own this BEAUTIFUL ranch.
One of our best experiences ever as you will walk and interact with amazing animals on your own.
They have Alpacas, llama, goats, miniature horses and donkeys and turkeys.
Animals were adorable and super friendly.
Please make sure to make an appointment before you visit as it’s by appointment only. Tours are every day at 11 am

We had the best experience! Loved every bit of experiencing the gorgeous farm, it's lovely owners and of course the animals! If you're lucky to go in winter you might get the farm to yourself and it's pure bliss.

Wonderful excursion. Great host and very interactive tour. Alpacas. Llamas. Sheep. Goats. Chickens. Rabbits. Mini Horses. Donkeys. We’ll the rooster crowed at me so I didn’t mess with the chickens much but is definitely got my hands on the others! Highly recommend if you are near Coeur d’Alene.

Truly an incredible place! The owners of the ranch are fantastic and let you roam the ranch and explore. Most importantly, you can spend all the time with the animals that you'd like. The goats, donkeys, and ponies were definitely our favorite. The let you put them and they enjoy it, especially the goats, they are actually affectionate! I highly recommend coming here!

Such a beautiful and authentic place. Great for animal lovers who want to see them treated with respect and compassion. The owner Sonia was so kind, she was very helpful with the toddler we traveled with. Every part of the trip was educational and fun, even in the winter. See how many cats and bunnies you can count on your trip!

Amazing farm! Friendly people, unique story, and awesome experience 🤩
Well worth $12 bucks a person. There was a cat that greeted us when we arrived. Thr animals are sweet and love attention. There's an air bnb and 3 areas to bring an rv. Super cool👌

We had been there somewhere in August. And it was my first time to Alpacas farm. This place is so peaceful. The tour was wonderful. They even let you touch and water the Alpacas. There are donkeys, goats and sheep as well. You can reserve a stay in Airbnb.
Five stars!! We are planning to visit again. Thanks for an amazing experience.

Such a lovely place! Owned by and amazingly warm welcoming family, who treats their animals with love and know by heart all their names! Alpacas, llamas, donkeys, horses, sheep, goats… oh and of course their dogs and cats! Despite heavy rain we enjoyed every minute of our time at this barn! Thank you!
PS. A pro-tip: wear shoes that you will not be sorry to make dirty

What a great, unconventional thing to do on vacation. Sonia is a great host, Tiger the cat a perfect greeting committee and Mister the dog entertaining. You get to walk around and feed the animals carrots and enjoy the mountain beauty. You definitely leave feeling more peaceful.

Largest Northwest theme park offers 65+ rides, a water park, casual dining & an on-site RV park.
Silverwood is the greatest. I have been going since I was a kid and it still is great. The rides aren’t too intense but they give just enough adrenaline that you get the rollercoaster high. Boulder beach has really expanded in recent years and is so fun.
I love the classic old time feeling that silverwood has. It has kept its charm and I hope that never changes. The new stunt pilot ride is a lot of fun but I am partial to the wooden roller coasters.
I can promise you will have fun at this park. It is more than enjoyable. The staff told me the last time I was there that the best time to go is a couple days after the Fourth of July. It is always their slowest days of the year because everyone has to get back to work.
If you are considering it, I recommend going for it. You won’t regret it!

Family run theme park that has something for everyone.
Silverwood is a fantastic theme park that is truly run with passion and quality experiences for guests. For a relatively small, less known theme park I was really impressed and had a blast. The coasters are good fun (Aftershock is epic); actors and train ride is a good time for all; magic show (Nick and Mad Mike especially) is a great way to break up the adrenaline fuelled fun; and the park’s theme and environment is genuinely beautiful and well maintained.
Great place for a family, thrill seeking adults like myself and anyone who wants to escape for a fun adventure in Idaho.
Yeehaw Silverwood!
Joey Crowther — Google review
WHAT a great park! Homey and small, but with some really good rides, great atmosphere, and friendly people, both at work and as visitors. Parking is across the highway and you walk through a tunnel to the park. Then it's left to the theme park and right to the train and the water park.
I didn't know what was good here, and was able to ride Aftershock twice right away. But Tremors is my favorite ride here, followed closely by the single-rail Stunt Pilot coaster, which loads super fast! Every park should have one of these!
I was done with all the rides by 3 and went to the water park for a while. But I didn't realize until later that the train only runs once an hour and the popular show is only on some of those trips, so I missed the show, which I regret. It's kind of out of the way of everything else, so you really have to make an effort to get to that part of the park. I did get a nice trip nearer sunset, however. The magic show is really good! The variety show in the saloon is pretty campy and not much space to watch it in.
I appreciate that there are quieter areas of the park. Just behind the kid's rides is a pretty park to rest in, and near the train is a theater that plays 3 stooges all day if you need a dark and quiet place to sit down.
Sara Beth Wade — Google review
We had a lot of fun. The lifeguards were straight up on it and were really awesome with the kid. The variety show and train ride was so much fun. We had a blast with the rides. Really clean and the employees appeared to really enjoy what they were doing. Even the ride operators were generally having fun and making the day enjoyable. Thank you for making this 7th birthday for my daughter a blast!

I enjoyed my time at the Silverwood Theme Park in Idaho! The place is clean and beautiful.
I like it better than Disney Land and Universal Studios. We went three days in a row, and enjoyed every second of it. The food that you purchase inside of the Park was really good, and the kids loved it as well. It is definitely a good choice for your family to create memories and relax. It’s was not hectic or too busy. I am definitely taking my grandson there once he’s of age.

Silverwood Theme park is an epic adventure that everyone from all ages needs to experience. From the rides and roller coasters, to the water park and slides…the day was filled with memories and screams from speed.
The amusement side of the park has it all. For the young and the more advanced thrill seeker. My favorite was Spin Cycle…and it’s upside down twists and turns. Worth the ride! The roller coasters are fast, I mean fast!
For the water park, the slides were amazing. You have everything from fast plunges to twists and turns, in tubes to open air excitement. The water was warm everywhere we went. Plus clean! The lazy River hit the spot for us adults too.
For as many people were there, the staff was amazing, the park was clean, the food was amazing and I highly recommend the Huckleberry Shakes and Chicken Finger baskets.
We loved it, it truly is a great full day of memories in one place.

I have been to all the parks, just about. The Mouse, The Flags, The Orlando, but this place is something special. The feeling we got when we entered was unmatched by the other guys. There was a tangible sweetness to the atmosphere. Every employee greeted us with a smile and thoughtfulness. They genuinely enjoyed working there.
The grounds are breathtaking. The grounds crew has no equal. They take great care of the entire park. The RV Park is the best way to go. Clean. Quiet. Wonderful. Our family is planning to come back again and again.

A bucket list adventure for the whole family! This place is absolutely amazing! Must do, atleast once! Great huge parking lot, even when it is busy- it doesn't seem too packed. Not very long lines. So many fun rides, water slides and games for all ages. Yummy food and drinks. Great vacation spot. Decent prices! Highly recommend!

It was a blast, preseason, so no wait, not packed, wasn't super hot. Ride attendants were super friendly and made sure the kids seat belts were tight and everyone was safe

This family owned theme park has something for everyone! (And we didn't even make it to the water park!)
Our family group included ages 0 to 60, some much slower than others, but everyone had a blast...with exception of the infant who was too young to be aware of anything.
From wild coasters to milder log ride and children's rides; from a very enjoyable scenic train ride to comedy shows, this amazing park has got you covered.
You'll also find reasonably priced food and drink options.
Many of the attractions are handicap accessible and employees go the extra mile to help you learn the ropes and avoid long lines. (Just pick up a courtesy pass at the information booth when you enter the park).
Silverwood has a great website with helpful tips to make your visit the best! Check it out if you haven't already.
Kelly Wooten — Google review
The roller coasters were fun but I can't say the same thing for the water park. The lines were huge for the water park rides, and I am talking about 40 minutes wait, but the rides themselves were fine but not very fun. The roller coasters were amazing, though there were 7 of them and the waiting was long as well. I just hope that the people who let the riders in learn to count well since they let more people than there supposed to be and the people behind me got on but I had to wait another turn.
Olesya Samarkina — Google review
Tons of stuff to do, whole park is clean even though there were lots of people. 2 day pass with break in between is best. Plan for one day at water park and another for the theme park. Food is reasonably priced but lines can be long if it is busy. Would recommend and we are definitely coming back next year!
Alex Tonu — Google review
Great place! This could easily be a multi day thing if you want to experience everything. Lots of cool places to see and fun rides. The wait time for the rides wasn’t even bad, we went on a sunny Saturday and they kept everything running smoothly so that we didn’t have to wait very long for the roller coasters. The waterpark had longer wait times, but I feel like that’s to be expected when it’s a warm and sunny day. We enjoyed the wave pool and lazy river which didn’t have waits instead!

We recently visited Silverwood and had an absolutely amazing time! From start to finish, our experience was filled with laughter, excitement, and memorable moments that we'll cherish forever. What impressed us the most was not just the incredible attractions, but also the affordability that made our family day out even more enjoyable.
The variety of rides and attractions at Silverwood catered to every member of our family, from the thrill-seekers to the more laid-back adventurers. The roller coasters were exhilarating, and the water park provided a refreshing break from the summer heat. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and maintenance of the park, creating a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
One of the highlights for us was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. They were always ready to assist with a smile, adding to the overall positive atmosphere of the park. The efficiency in managing the queues and ensuring everyone's safety was commendable, making our visit stress-free.
What sets Silverwood apart is its affordability without compromising on the quality of the experience. The ticket prices, food options, and souvenir choices were reasonable, allowing us to make the most of our day without breaking the bank. This aspect made our visit not only entertaining but also budget-friendly, a rare combination in the world of theme parks.
In conclusion, Silverwood exceeded our expectations in every way. It provided a perfect blend of fun, excitement, and affordability that made it an ideal destination for a family day out. We wholeheartedly recommend Silverwood to anyone seeking a fantastic and budget-friendly adventure. We can't wait to return and create even more cherished memories at this fantastic amusement park!

I was originally going to take my grand kids to California, but decided to head to Idaho to Silverwood and what a great choice that was.
We arrived the first day after school let out. The parking is $10 we arrived at 10:45 am we found a spot immediately we were in the park and on the first ride within 1/2 hour. The lines weren’t very long 10 minutes at the most except the ferries wheel because it’s weighted balance, so they take time to make sure your on it correctly which at first can seem frustrating when your the first person in the line yet the last one on the ride.
The food is very reasonable $10 for a decent high protein yet fried food, they have a variety of places to eat I had a burrito bowl with chicken and yet it was only $10 as well.
The people who work there are friendly and helpful a great staff.
The park is clean we didn’t get a locker but the have them, they also offer refill drink containers.
The gift shops have fair prices I never felt like they were gouging prices, like they do at the movies and other theme parks the reasonable.
I will be retuning here.
The quarter arcade was a win, win when grandma (me) was tired, I gave them $20 and they played for 1.5 hours as I recoup.
I bought 2 day passes for 5 3 adults and 2 children and it was only a little over $450 what a great value for all the fun we had.
Thank you Silverwood & staff for making our first trip of the summer great.

What a clean, well maintained, and established theme park. So many rides with a variety of food shops and shopping experiences. Did all of the roller coaster except for 1. We spent an entire day up until evening time and enjoyed the lights, food, and atmosphere. Only recommendation would be having more lights along the walking path for nighttime and would be nice to have the ride signs light up. Also the log ride was very dark at night and would have like to see more added to the journey along the river. So much to see and do, it's a great day and night trip. Located close to Spokane and all amenities.

Great experience at Silverwood for their Scarywood Halloween event! The details are so intricate and the decorations and haunts were very elaborate! The Scaries (characters) were exciting, friendly and helpful when we couldn’t find certain places in the park. All staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The rides were SO fun at night! Highly recommend! It was very cold and the only thing I could think of to make it better is if there were more warming stations throughout the park. We will be back again. Excited to go to Silverwood this summer for more rides.

To say Silverwood is perfection is an understatement! From the moment you walk through the under highway tunnel, you are transported to a Mary Poppins feel. It's refreshing and a wonderful escape. Every employee was delightful, and the entire experience was fantastic! Wesley and the entire front gate crew sang Happy Birthday to my daughter, it was insanely special! The waits are long for favorite attractions, but being allowed to bring in food and drink helps pass the time...I saw several families picnic in line-so smart! Sometimes, I reflected that the lines were a good thing as I saw families and groups of friends talking to each other and playing games. I rarely saw anyone on electronics. The train ride is a must, Ranger Ruby and Edwin III are hysterical! Make time for the steam engine ride. The magic show with Nick is superb...like Vegas quality GOOD!! I wish we had attended it more than 1x. You will laugh, gasp and wonder for sure! The food is reasonably priced and the souvenirs aren't unreasonable. I appreciate this so much as it shows enjoyment over greed. It's fun how some rides came from bigger theme parks. I recognized 1 from Six Flags as I grew up 2 miles from Six Flags Over Texas. We attended on Grandparents Weekend and Saturday was packed, Sunday was 2/3 less full. I appreciate the free Grandparents ticket...again...enjoyment over greed. I'm looking forward to our next Silverwood adventure. It's worth the 8+ hour drive, in my opinion. Oh, and if you like to RV, the RV Park looked fantastic!
Thank you, Silverwood, for being a holdout for American values and family traditions. I appreciate the memories. Cheers!

This park ROCKS!! I first visited Silverwood in late August this year. The park is clean and filled will life. Coasters everywhere you walk. It's a bit weird getting to them though. The park has a t intersection as you enter, with a massive field in front of you. To the left is the coasters and to the right is their waterpark. I didn't do the waterpark, not my thing. But all the non kiddie coasters are good or great. My favorites being Tremors, Aftershock and Stuntpilot. Timber Terror and Corkscrew were decent but not mind blowing. Employees were friendly, but operations were pretty slow. Luckily it was a cool sixty degrees when I visited so I very much enjoyed both days I visited. Its a great park in the Pacific northwest, and I bet it's the best considering the lack of competition in Seattle.
The stunning Lake Coeur d'Alene presents ample opportunities for recreational activities. With its picturesque surroundings, visitors can indulge in a range of water sports, take seaplane rides or bike on multi-use trails that run along the lake. The downtown area of Coeur d'Alene has plenty of Huckleberry products and excellent dining options to explore.
Vast lake in north Idaho. Nice scenic byway to drive

Scenic lake and a beautiful city. The place offers well maintained bike lanes with boating, kayaking and paddle boarding activities. Best weekend getaway for families and young couples. Around the lake the town offers a good number of restaurants, cafes, and museums to spend a relaxing evening.

Lake Coeur d'Alene was beautiful and huge there are small towns around the lake many with docking... restaurants and bars. We rented a pontoon for a fair price...it was the best way to see all areas and a few towns. We spent the whole day on the lake it was a great time!

Beautiful Lake! Amazing place to vacation. The lake and watersports, seaplane rides, and biking/multi-use trails around the lake. Coeur d'Alene is a great little downtown to walk, with Huckleberry everything, good restaurants. Take a short boat ride from Coeur d'Alene resort to the golf course and have an amazing breakfast on the patio overlooking the floating green

Georgia Little — Google review
There are a lot of uses for logs on the lake. A substantial amount of them have broken free and lay haphazardly along the edge of the water. For being so far out in this wilderness that part was disappointing. Otherwise it was very nice to be out on the lake!
Nicki B — Google review
The second-largest lake in Idaho is less than ten miles east of downtown, with a comfortable surface temperature of around 70 °F in the summer months.
Conveniently, the largest city on the lakeshore, Coeur d’Alene, is right next door to Post Falls, which puts a wealth of amenities and experiences at your fingertips.
You can take a scenic cruise on the lake, walk a network of well-maintained trails, visit attractions like a cute llama farm, dine in the charming downtown area, go fishing or simply lie back next to this natural wonder.
City Park has an exquisite lakeside promenade and a stretch of beach, while McEuen Park has recently been renovated with a large splash pad that children adore in summer.
Lastly, Kokanee salmon migrate to the lake in fall and winter to spawn by the gravelly shoreline, and this event attracts dozens of bald eagles, best viewed at Wolf Lodge Bay, a few miles east of Coeur d’Alene proper.

While you're down town enjoying the activities of Coeur d'Alene Tubbs hill is a great walk and get away so close to downtown. Places to stop and enjoy views of the lake.

A very nice hike around the shoreline that kids can do with adult help in a few places. The view of the lake is spectacular and there are lots of trails that lead down to the waters edge. Additionally there are steep trails that go to the peak. Not the best view due to trees but really good for the heart rate! Overall this is a great family hiking place right in downtown Coeur d' Alene!

Great hike along the edge of the lake. It was a bit gusty but it was still fun. Good hike for young kiddos, my 3 and 4 year old walked most of it just fine.
We hiked the brown trail.

We loved hiking here! It was quite the exercise. We took the opportunity to use the little side trails that take you down to look at the water. I would love to set up a hammock there sometime. Beautiful views!
It's not wheel chair or stroller accessible, as there are lots of roots and rocks to clamor up.

Dog friendly hike. Starting out the trail was a bit difficult to find, but some hikers walked past and we figured it out after that. Beautiful hike.

It was amazing, but I'm very tired. A few trails for everyone 😁, we chose the loop trail, the whole trail was up or down, but the views were fantastic. We took many photos, nature is beautiful. There were many small and large rocks, bridges, the trail led among conifers but sometimes you walked in the sun without a bit of shade 😁. It was worth it although I had the moment that I could not cope, I would not come 😳. I came, I overcome fatigue 😀

Amazing public place for all to share and enjoy the beauty. The back side by Sanders Beach has a less busy feeling and the front by the resort and boardwalk has a couple beach spots and rocks to jump from- it's all beautiful and all good swimming! I've been runnin around on Tubbs since I was a babe and always come back for solace when I visit Cd'A. Bring an extra little bag to pick up some garbage if you have the spoons. ENJOY!

Vast waterside space featuring walking trails, a playground & a sand beach area.
I have come to this park since I was 12 years old and how it has changed over the years.
It's a a great park situated on the shores of Lake Coeur D' Alene with lots of open area for picnics, Frisbee, Basketball, Volleyball and of course swimming and all the other lake activities.
The artwork (by mostly local artists) that they have added over the years is amazing and of course finding Mudgy and Millie at various locations (a total of 5) along the trail has always been fun for the kids, inspired by a local author.
Dogs are welcome and please be mindful of others so this continues to be an option for dog lovers, there are not many pet friendly area's anymore.
As always leave it better than you found it and enjoy 😉.
R. Scherer — Google review
Peaceful with plenty of the fattest geese you'll ever see. The geese were non threatening to pets and children. Maybe because it was only 29 degrees outside. But it was a gorgeous day.

This dog park is pretty tiny compared to the overall size of the park. There are two sections with varying agility equipment on them that I thought was cool. There is also available water at this park. It was noticed however that people are TERRIBLE at picking up their dog's waste despite a scooper and a trash can provided mere feet from the entrance/exit.

Such a great park and playground! The kids loved it. It was even a dreary rainy day and we still had a blast! One of the best playgrounds we have been on ever. So big and so well designed. We love the fort look to it all too! It let the kids imagination go wild!

Absolutely serene! I’ve been to quite a few lakes in my lifetime but NEVER have I experienced a lake and city park area like Coeur d’Alene City Park. I reside in Spokane, WA and went to Coeur d’Alene to purchase an item from Facebook market place. The seller asked where I was coming from and o told her Spokane. The seller then insists for us (my family) to explore Coeur d’Alene and do not leave until we see the lake at Coeur d’Alene Park. I was in Aah. The park is so clean! The piers were close so the kids could get front row seats to see boats. Then we get to the water…. I have never encountered water so clear and inviting. I had to touch the water which was surprisingly not cold like all other lakes. I’m telling you that this lake seemed to be one of a dream in which I didn’t want to wake. The peoples of the city were so nice and welcoming, I was blown away with the kindness we received. We didn’t make it all around the park because I had to rush back to Washington for appts but we did in fact stay for 2 hours just enjoying the water, the sun, and friendly residents of the city! I encourage everybody that has not been to this lake/park to check it out because you will definitely have a beautiful RELAXED experience. The pictures I have do not give the park any justice mainly because my pics are in one area, my phone died in about 15 mins of being there 😒, you will have to see for yourself! 😎

Hands down the best course I have played in Idaho or the area. Great condition, GPS on the carts. There is a lot of native grass, but no water which is a little different. I love to walk when I play but would not want to walk this course as it’s very spread out. Wish I would have taken more photos though. Also Bluetooth speakers on the carts which is very nice. Fairways probably impressed me more than anything else. Will hopefully make it back next year!

Exceptional golf and easily the best course in Idaho. The practice area alone is top tier with a separate short game area and full driving range. The course was in pristine condition and presented a lot of challenges or choices on how you could play each hole. The rolling wheat hills were beautiful and separated each hole so that you really can't see another fairway from your current hole. The par 3s were very long but had stunning downhill views (200 yards from the white tees). Greens weren't rolling very fast when I played it, which was fine with me but some of the greens weren’t in the best of shape if I had any complaint at all. Also practice green was closed. Got to see a moose and a calf walk across the 10th fairway which was special. Played here twice and both rounds were under 4 hours which was pleasing. Pro shop had a pretty big selection of goods and the staff was nice. If you are ever in this part of the country this course is a MUST play. Especially for the price, this course is way better than Coeur d'Alene resort course (circling raven is less than half the price of CDA resort). Come check it out you will not be disappointed.

Amazing golf course ⛳️ I would rate it the best in the area. It is a very long course if you are walking if you are carting they have really nice gps carts. The practice facility is huge and the pro-shop has everything. We took the kids for a practice round and we were the only ones on the course pretty much it was amazing 🤩 highly suggest this course

The scope a size of this course is enormous. I love that the course is in front of you. No blind/trick shot necessary. Generous fairways for a short hitter like me. Played from white tees it was less intimidating for a first time player. Good distances between holes. Very fair price.

Played at circling raven for the first time yesterday and I’ve gotta say it exceeded expectations on all fronts. The course was amazing, the practice facility was top tier the staff was welcoming and friendly the food was priced extremely well for the quality. the pro shop had everything you could ask for and more. Will be making the trip again with out any hesitations.

Outstanding facility, easily one of the best in the PNW. The course is excellent and when we played (August '23) the conditioning was impeccable. Practice facilities are great too. As far as the clubhouse goes probably one of the best resort merchandise selections around.
Modern casino resort with a pair of hotels, an 18-hole golf course & a spa, plus slots & bingo.
Oh dear, I could spend days here. I love the noise and atmosphere of casinos, and this one is very clean. It's wide open spaces and extensive variety of games makes it a great choice for a day of fun... or longer if you get lucky! Get yourself a free "Comp", just sign up for the casino card at the service desk. You get free gambling funds, 1st timers get up to $25, and you can build a rep to become a preferred patron- that brings a whole host of great comps and freebies.
They also have great restaurant fare, and of course you can have complimentary refreshments the entire time you are there.
Only take with you what you know you can lose, then always keep your winnings separate so you can go home with something, sometimes more than you came with! I wish you luck~

Reward play isn't a reward at all. It deducts your money along with their "reward" play. I haven't been to this casino about 20 years. I always had a great time but I moved to over an hour away. Today was exciting until I started playing. This being a new experience of the casino, I don't think I'll be back. Reward play in any other casino is just that, a reward.

Parking there is plenty of spots. Walking in you can smell the essential oils and how relaxed you become and excited and the waterfall sounds. Even in the waiting area that's already a huge start. I took my sister out for a relaxing birthday celebration. Loved the cool pool and hot tub, the steam room, the robes and shoes were so comfy and the massages were amazing. We did couples massage and man we wanted to stay longer. It was amazing.

Rooms- Furniture gave it a outdoorsy look. Not set up for business as there is only one plug in under the table. No plug ins near the bed for chargers either. I get it after all it's a casino you're not supposed to be in your room.
Bed- Nothing great, nor bad.
Shower- Needs more pressure. Bathroom was laid out nice with separate room for shower/toilet and sink.
Service- Great staff! On multiple occasions the staff greeted us with pleasantries. Best thing about the stay.
Location- Out in the middle of nowhere. But it's a stand alone casino/hotel so it's not meant to be downtown CDA.
Red Nail- Good food and reasonably priced.
I travel for business and took a chance on this one considering it is a casino. The Casino gave me a nice change of venue and if priced as it was in the future I would stay again.

Customer service is amazing, the staff is very attentive and always smiling. I was thankful for Mikaylah from the Banquets team, she went out of her way to help me and my wife and was pleasant to speak with. I will be coming back, and I've heard great things about the golf club and course, which my wife and I are interested in.

This is my favorite casino resort destination in the Pacific Northwest. My only complaint is the smoke from cigarettes is very noticeable in casino, they could use a much better air filtration system. The rooms are clean and beds were comfy. I like that I can golf while the wife gets pampered in the spa, and enjoy that they offer bingo with good payouts. But the customer service is top notch from every employee we encountered, and that alone is enough for me to be a continuing patron.

This is strictly a review for a Mountain Lodge room in tower 2. Stayed overnight Sept 2-3 2023.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve been gambling at this casino for nearly a decade. My favorite in the area, this is my first time staying in the hotel. Booked a Mountain Lodge room, expecting a king but got a double queen. Never received a confirmation email before arriving, so there’s no proof.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m not one to normally complain, but the toilet was absolutely unacceptable and needs noted. Blood, urine and hair was underneath the seat. Dried urine on the floor surrounding the toilet. The rest appeared “clean”, but it was blatantly obvious the seat wasn’t lifted and properly sanitized. Vent was noticeably dusty.
Slight musky smell in room, a condom and pizza slices littered the hallway. Wet footprints and body odor lingered in the elevators from unattended children using the pool. Mini fridge and air conditioning didn’t get cold enough for my liking. I appreciated the Native style of decor and furnishings, it created a certain ambiance. The door had an impressive safety feature, it wouldn’t unlock from the outside if the deadbolt was engaged. Handy in the right circumstance (if a stranger had your key card and tried to force entry). Overall: I really didn’t want to give a one star review, especially for somewhere I normally enjoy, but overpriced and unimpressed. Weary for now, maybe a stay in the spa area would be better? I don’t foresee utilizing the hotel again, I’ll stick with Mega Meltdown when I visit.

We stayed at the hotel last night and the room was pretty nice. My review would have been positive if the following had not occurred. We had a pretty late night and were planning to sleep in until 10, an hour before check out. Before 8 am we were woken by loud banging just outside our room. I looked out the window and saw two workers on a ledge about five feet below our room hammering through concrete. I called the front desk to let them know it had woken us up and that we were trying to sleep. The guy at the front desk couldn’t have acted like he cared less if he tried. After my second call to complain about the noise he said he’d look into it, but his bored and annoyed tone suggested otherwise. We left the room an hour and a half later with the workers still hammering away. They clearly don’t value their customers if they treat us this way. We should have stayed home, at least we would have gotten some sleep.

My husband and I attempted to stay here. The first room was very cheap feeling. Like benches made of plywood. Long story short, we upgraded rooms only to have the jetted tub flood our bathroom. The fireplace only lit to about 1 1/12”, the light switches didn’t work properly. And there are lights above all cabinets that are “ambient” and can’t be turned off. We left after being there less than 2 hours, didn’t use the room, still charged us $100. I forgot my comfy clothes, called and they said they had them and told me to file a claim. I did, got an email that they couldn’t find my items. I would never stay here or recommend it to anyone

There are lots of machines to play. they constantly offer the newest games. They have plenty non smoking areas as well. Also Bingo on ceraun days. They often have concerts.
The payouts are not nearly as good as they were in past years.

I didn't stay in a room. I found the casino clean and fresh despite the smoking allowed. More machines were paying out. My sister and I lunched at the Asian Dining room. We loved the design of this room. We felt we were out in a wooded forest. There was a huge screen featuring a flowing stream. Food was a little pricy but worth it. Very friendly service too.

Gambling was okay. Food was good had strawberry salad. Most of the staff were friendly. Only 2 seemed to be in a bad mood or rude. The rudest one was at the place where you get your players card, I complimented her on her hair and is was like the worst thing I could have done. She became so rude, I just didn't know what to do! The second was a staff member who had the job of cleaning bathrooms, and you could tell she hated her job!!! Other wise the experience was good. Food prices are a little high for somethings but the food at our table was eaten completely and no one complained so obviously very good!

This casino realized how much money they made during the pandemic by not giving any coins back from the ticket redemption machines and closing the casino floor (therefore not having to pay staff) in the early morning hours to “sanitize “ we wake up and are not able to gamble til 7, eat til 8 and walk the length of the casino and stand in line to get ALL of the money you are owed. Besides this the odds are horrible- never go here when an awesome casino like Quest is so close! Amazed how such wealth only makes more greed at this place

Room bathroom was dirty. Electronic system malfunctioned and took people's money, staff was most unhelpful. Golf in the summer is pricey at $160+ per. No table games, not much to do unless you drive into downtown CDA or further. Golf facilities were nice and golf staff was very friendly.

We visited the casino for a music performance. It was so clean and beautifully decorated. There are smoking and non smoking areas. It was really impressive the immediate difference when you stepped into the different areas. We ate at the Little Dragon, which was great, enjoyed the show at the Night Hawk and had drinks there as well. They didnt have a drink menu, so I just asked for a fruity mixed cocktail. I got 3 different drinks and they were all great. Security was quick to help another guest that was having a hard time. Definitely want to go back!

This place is well equipped and inviting for handicap individuals. The service is wonderful. People are friendly and inviting. First time there! It was alright, kinda out in the middle of nowhere, 26 miles from town! If all you're there for is gambling then that's fine! Food options are limited we went to have dinner there and was told it was a hour and half wait, when there were empty tables in plain sight! Told group in front of us same thing! It was just two of us! It's beautiful out there but next time we'll stay in Coeur d'Alene and drive out there! More to see and do in town and food options!

Cool place. Nice golf course, good restaurants, all the gambling you would ever need, a gift shop that you can buy "discounted" tobacco as well as a gas station, basically at the entrance of the casino parking lot, with cheaper fuel and tobacco as well 😉. Parking at casino is great..... just stretches the length of the building so there's usually nothing to far out there. Employees are friendly and helpful. They also seem like they genuinely enjoy working there. It makes your visit to those kind of establishments so much more pleasant, it's unbelievable! Thank you and whatever you guys got going to keep your staff happy, keep that stuff up! See y'all next time!

It’s not terrible, but it’s not good. Most of the staff is nice besides the bartender.. waited in line as the only one as 3 workers sat there talking. I eventually just interrupted and asked for a beer and the dude throws my card and receipt and walks away. What a joke of service. Rooms aren’t terrible but very outdated and dusty. Machines are decent however your free play money is very limited to what machines you can use.

I can't really recommend this place. I have a sensitive nose, so the cigarette smoke indoors is a massive turnoff for me. Aside from that, pretty much every person I saw looked like they were the stereotypical redneck, like from a comedy movie or something. While that isn't normally a bad thing, in this case the atmosphere was unfriendly and generally upset. It's clear that people were spending their savings and not winning much. The food was also a let down. The side cafes had a very limited selection of fast food options. The restaurant area had a nice looking menu, but the food was fairly over priced for the quality. Flavors were decent, but I wouldn't eat there again. As casinos go, this one did not impress me.

Mt Spokane is a towering mountain peak located in the Inland Northwest, boasting scenic trails and historic ruins that lead to an observation deck with breathtaking views. Regardless of weather conditions, people feel gravitated towards this majestic natural wonder. It provides ample opportunities for biking, hiking, and enjoying the stunning vistas it offers.
Amazing drive with spectacular views of the mountain ranges! Excellent ski park for all levels from bunny hills to longer ones. The hike in the snow was pretty good. Open access to many walking and hiking trails. The vista house was close at this point of the year so will definitely want to be back for that. Our favorite market local to the Spokane area by far. We come from Spokane Valley, a fifteen minute trip, & it is worth it ten fold. It is also our only weekly market that we attend! The selection of fresh produce, from mushrooms and exotic tomatoes, to every berry or plum imaginable and donut peaches. There are vendors for pickled goods, local and humane beef sources, cider providers. There is always live music and food/drink vendors. Fresh flowers from this market weekly are a must. From one single mother to another- treat yo self. Very family friendly, full of variety and a beautiful place to do your local shopping. 11/10 recommend!

Produce, flowers, drinks and food are the main focus of this farmers market. There were some other items but very few. Nicely organized so you can see each booth in loops. Flowers are all priced very well. Good food options to choose from. Only about 2-3 craft or art booths. Lots of parking in an open field.

Great stands, great produce. Just great to be outside and around people again. Got a bouquet from Gracie's, lots of produce, gluten-free donut holes, hot sauce, and some primo hard cider. Making lactic acid fermented onions and radishes for garnishes.
UPDATE: Pickled onion & radishes were a hit and highly recommended. Re-jarred them in pints, then used the radish brine for quick pickling cucumbers. Amazeballs.

Best park in Spokane! Stunning variety of unique and well maintained gardens, lovely greenhouse, large duck pond, numerous walking paths, playgrounds, splash pad and restrooms. Beautiful anytime of the year. In the summer they have a nice outdoor cafe where you can get drinks, lunch or ice cream. In the winter the have a light show in the greenhouse and throughout the park.

Amazing park, everything is green and trees are blossoming;there are a few flowers such as hyacinth, magnolias. The best is Gaiser Conservatory, opened every day except Wednesday, from 9 am to 3:30pm. That is an exceptional expo of cacti , exotic plants, orchids. You can spend an hour in the conservatory easily. See a few pics. This was a real treat. We will be back.

Gorgeous park in Spokane. Wish I was able to get more pictures, but I didn't charge my phone before visiting. This park is a must-see when visiting Spokane. I went here with some friends and enjoyed a beautiful walk in the park and enjoyed all that the park had to offer. Definitely allow yourself a couple of hours to explore the park. There is a playground here for kids and restrooms as well. I believe we could have spent all day here. I hope to visit the area when the garden is in full bloom. Absolutely gorgeous.

What an unexpected slice of paradise! We missed the Japanese Gardens, it closes at 6pm, so I definitely have to get back here.
My visit was mid July. The roses appeared to be at the end of their season but wow! There were still plenty there and I could smell them before I could see them.
Thank you Spokane for a beautiful and huge park. It's so serene here. I hope the people who care for this place are adequately appreciated and thanked for what has to be a lot of maintenance work!

This is a beautiful park. I gave it 5 starts, but would have given 4 1/2 stars if available. Only because their directional signage is very not clear. The gardens are well cared for and maintained. The conservancy was amazing, it has a variety of cacti and other exotic plants, I love cacti. The rose gardens not only had great variety, but I could smell the roses walking through. The Japanese garden was so peaceful. I could go on, I highly recommend a visit to the park. Talked your time and take enjoy it.

Very pretty place, went in early April so nearly nothing was blooming, but I imagine it's amazing later in the year. Walked all around the Gaiser Conservatory with impressive plants and flowers, the Japanese Garden was so beautiful and meticulously maintained, Duncan Garden would be gorgeous when everything is in bloom.

This was my first visit to Manito Park, and I would definitely recommend it. We went through the first week of November, and most of the annuals (like the Rose Gardens) had already been cut back. Workers were clearing garden beds as we walked through. Even with some missing, the walk was still beautiful. Gorgeous trees and perennials abound! I am excited to return in Winter for their Christmas Lights & then again in the Spring. With so much hussle & bussle in downtown Spokane, this lovely gem is a break from the headaches and offers a few mintutes of peace and tranquility.

Love love love this place ! It's the only place I resort to go to on special occasions when I don't have extra money to play with . I go to this place on my birthday every year . The cactus green house is my FAVORITE. The Rose Garden is a rose growing competition, all types of new rose species by growers. Then get judged and placed accordingly. All individual growers create their own unique rose and title them and place in competition . Its interesting ! The two toned bright pink and orange and white all in one rose..are my fave. The anise is a fave as well.

The vibrant district of Downtown Spokane, also referred to as Riverside, offers a pedestrian-friendly environment with an array of casual dining options, trendy bars and nightclubs, and a blend of both chain retailers and independent shops. The area features meticulously restored buildings such as the Historic Davenport Hotel from 1914 and the art deco Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox that houses the Spokane Symphony.
The Riverfront Park in Spokane, Washington is a beautiful park that features a Looff Carrousel from 1909, Rotary Fountain, and many other attractions. The park is located on 100 acres of prime land along the Spokane River and it is popular with visitors for its amazing views of the upper falls of the river as well as its expansive grounds.
Beautiful walk for all ages with lots of cool sculptures. Great showcase of the area. Little ice rink track for doing loops that was pretty unique, and a cool chalk art area under the bridges. The park is perfect for an afternoon or evening walk no matter the time of year. Lots of stuff closed, like the indoor carousel- I'm presuming because of Covid. Still a great walk none-the-less to enjoy the day and people/bird watch!

We attended the Park's 4th of July celebration. It was great! Packed but with all the things that can keep families busy, it was ideal. We went to the fossil park and splash pad, watched the symphony at the pavilion, and then sat in the grass near the clock tower to watch the fireworks. Our kids had a blast! Will be attending next year as well!

Great place to walk, jog, bike, and run. Gets busy. Lots of things going on all at the same time.
The trails are nice. I would recommend always having someone with you, there’s a lot of homeless people there and no security what’s so ever.
Some areas are trashy and can small like marijuana, like many places around this city.
Stay close to any young ones. Stay in crowded areas. Watch for the bikers because there are blinds spot. People are supposed to walk their skateboard and bike but you know how people respond to regulations.
Lots to do and see. Very lively. Take precautions thats what I’m telling you.
Oh and people drive fast so watch twice before crossing. Still a lot of ricer on the West Coast (I’m from the other side of the States).

River front park was a good experience it is very urban which means that it is also quite busy and parking is a nuisance. The best way to get around river front park is on the Electric scooters and/ or bikes as the park is so big and has plenty of pathways.
That being said riverfront park is indeed very urban with fencing around all of the river and falls, there isn't a lot of nature to actually enjoy which is both fortunate and unfortunate.
If you're going in for a walk this park is definitely big enough to get your steps in, but most of what you'll see is sidewalk fence and some grass.
There is I think 3 bridges that go over the water, one of them is currently under construction as is a good portion of the park.

Took a road trip from Tri-Cities and spent most of the day here, rode the Numérica SkyRide which was short but had a cool view, 1st time on the Lime Scooters which we explored on for about an hour, left to watch a football game at Buffs, then returned to see the lights at the Pavilion. Overall it’s a great hang out spot, lots of things to see & do, we really enjoyed our little get away.

The Spokane Falls are a man-made waterfall and dam in the city center of Spokane, Washington. The Upper Falls is home to the Upper Falls Dam, which directs water into the falls intake on the south channel of the Spokane River while Lower Falls features Monroe Street Dam, which generates hydroelectricity for the city. The falls are a local landmark and one of the top attractions in Spokane.

Great place for an afternoon visit
I have been to the Spokane area a few times in the past few years but I have not had the time to see the famous Spokane Falls. This time I was on a mission to finally see them. I made all of my business appointments for early morning so I had some time in the afternoon to actually spend some time at the falls. There is plenty of parking nearby on the streets and there are public parking spots nearby. There are gondolas which take you over the falls, bit since it was October they are only available at certain times during the week so I was not able to take a ride. To get to the preferred viewing locations near the falls you have to go done many steps, but the effort is worth it.
There are some very nice views of the falls and the river. You have to walk around to find good vantage points for pictures. There are also signs and information posts around the area where you learn about the falls and the local indigenous culture. This is a great place for a solo visit or a family visit and you could spend a few hours taking it all in. A spectacular spot for an afternoon visit.

Beautiful! Saw an Elk family and a turkey family. The road is a lot of gravel but well kept. I went on a few trails and all were easy to walk along.

Turnbull is an amazing wildlife refuge that provides habitat for various bird and mammal species.
Reminder: upon seeing a moose on the side of the road that is especially close to the car, don't get out. It's harassment.
My family and I were watching a young moose munch on some red osier dogwood stems when the next thing I know a person is standing next to my car and asking what I'm looking at. Then others got out of the car, didn't stand behind my car to use it as a blind but got in front of my car and blocked the passengers view in the back so they could capture their images.
A truck came alongside and four people came out with their cell phones to snap their images.
The moose turned away and I saw the first lady, who had been by my car, now across the water body to get a better angle.
I take photos. I love it. But the wildlife comes first. If we alter their behavior or put them in danger to get a shot, we photographers are doing it wrong.

I thought this place was amazing. The 5 mile auto loop was fun. I drove around 3 times before sunset. 1st drive saw a chipmunk 🐿 2nd time round saw a mom and a young moose. 3rd time saw a hawk. Beautiful scenerary. Came back next day did the main hiking trails. Saw a large coyote that stopped and stared me down before running off. Tried the bluebird trail starting on the rough path. It’s not bad at all. Super cool trail! We left the trail and looped back through the forest navigating with all trails app. A bin cat ran out in front of us. Not long after I spotted a bull moose standing behind a tree 30 yards out. My dog loved it! It was a fantastic adventure. Tips for spotting animals at turnbull. Be patient, be quiet and be vigilant. I noticed on the auto loop I was passed 4-5 times by the same people. Go slow and be observant. I found moose no one ever saw because they drove right by it. When your looking for moose from your car. Look for dark black spots in the woods. They will be darker then any other thing around them. Next look too see if the dark spot appears to be on the ground or elevated above the ground. If the dark spot on the ground has two dark antenna features poking out of it. You probably found a moose. The ears always give them away. If there standing you will see a large dark spot with with long skinny lines underneath. These are the signs that say pull over focus the binoculars and get a better look. Many times I have also found them because they were shaking bushes while eating. They are stealthy when they are still and can be hard to notice. The opposite can be said when they are moving. Very.loud and clumsy animals.Happy spotting.

What an great outdoor experience. We rode 16 miles from Fish Lake to Amber Lake and then back again, which goes through the heart of the Turnbull. It's a lovely, virtually flat old rail trail. Along the way we saw: osprey, turkeys, quail, deer, coyote, marmot, and many other waterfowl and shorebird (I just don't know my birds very well). The weather was lovely. The trail is well marked, and virtually, once you get off the paved section, there's nobody out there, on a Saturday, even.

Great little natural area and large enough that you really feel like you're away from the roads and city. We did a couple hikes and saved a couple for later, all around a mile round trip for the ones we did, and very easy (Bluebird and 30 Acre Lake). Only ran into one other person on 30 Acre Lake trail, the widest, and there was plenty of room to give each other space. Saw a ton of cool insects but that's our thing, and one very uncool insect bit one of us, a tick. So watch out, spray your shoes and check regularly. Still lots of wildflowers for August and a swan couple was in one of the lakes ❤️.

Snakes! Snakes were everywhere today! We had a blast enjoying the wetland preserve! We did our share of squealing at the multitudes of baby snakes that were rustling in out of the grasses, especially as they quickly slithered off the warm asphalt walkways. We particularly enjoyed watching the waterfowl, and listening to the diverse birdsong. We saw several birds of prey. I thoroughly enjoyed the simple pleasure of just going on a meandering walk through the rustling grasses and cattails. I usually hike and today was a nice walk with girlfriends and my sons.
A beautiful day in a beautiful landscape with beautiful people surrounded and filled with beautiful love. :-)
Peace and contentment.
GRATITUDE.
I LOVE TURNBALL WILDLIFE REFUGE and I loved this day!
Basalt canyons & a 198-ft. thundering waterfall with an ADA-accessible overlook, plus a campground.
This waterfall is so beautiful! It’s about a 2 hr drive from Spokane. Once you get close You drive down a gravel road to a parking area. And from there you can see the waterfall. ( no hiking required to see it) There is picnic tables around the area for those enjoying the view. Bathrooms are near the parking too!
And if your hiking you can walk down the path towards the train tracks. The hike down is steep but it leads you down to a mini water fall and sometimes when the water is high it’s a little slick. Then you continue on the small trail until you’re at the top of the waterfall.
It’s fun with groups and I’ve even seen people bring their kiddos too- just be careful.

My daughter and I drove here to watch the sunrise. We had the park to ourselves and a gorgeous morning. It is easy to find but also out in the middle of nowhere. I liked it because it is accessible. There are a few trails to wander around, not really a hiking kind of park. But anyone can get to the spot to see the falls. Which are SPECTACULAR. This will be a favorite spot for years to come.

A nice and humbling jewel on the East side of Washington state, created by lava flows and floods from the last ice age. It's a very secured area, with incredible views on the waterfall and canyon. We were the only ones on a Saturday morning, in the middle of winter. Watch out for the fog on the way there.

There's a reason that this is Washington State's Waterfall - it's majestic, powerful, and a unique desert type of falls. This park is great for stargazing and grabbing great landscape pictures! I recommend visiting during the Spring when the grass is very green, or Autumn where you can find ice near the falls and yellow hues in the canyon. I absolutely love it here - it does not disappoint.

Great view of the falls. It is out in the middle of nowhere, but if you are driving past, it is definitely worth the stop.
Be careful with little kids. The main area has some fencing, but a large portion of the park has no fencing to keep you from going over the edge. A fall would be 100% lethal. Pets should also be on a leash.

The official waterfall of Washington State! The 200 foot high waterfall makes for a lovely stop if you're in the area. Located 4+ miles up a well-maintained gravel road, the falls are no longer accessible directly by foot due to a high number of injuries from hikers taking a spill down the steep canyon walls. We visited two vantage points, both offering breathtaking views of the falls.

It’s a gem. You can venture off or enjoy the view. It’s a wonderful place for a picnic. Or a highway leg break. Kind of off the path a little. Some dirt roads. Nothing a Tesla can’t do. If you feel adventurous, take a left.

Palouse Falls is a 200 foot epic waterfall. Formed from the Palouse River and the Snake River confluence. It is the last waterfall from the ice age floods. The drive out to the falls is a bit of a trek and 100% worth the stunning views. It's literally like something from Jurassic Park. There's plenty of space to sit and enjoy the vistas or you can take a lovely hike along the cliff edges. We chose a small loop trail at the top of the fall since we had the dogs with us. Parking here requires discovery pass, else you need to carry $10 cash. You need to keep the cash in an envelope and drop in the box with your car details.
You will hardly spend 10-15 mins here.
If you have already seen enough waterfalls in Washington state then you may not like this.

Pretty cool view. Not a lot of things to do here, not sure if there were any trails. Suggest to go early in summer, it was pretty hot by 1 pm. There are some picnic tables in the park and you can buy day pass/discover pass at the pay station.

Magnificent!! So glad we stopped! Palouse Falls State Park offers a very clean and accommodating area to park, picnic, use restrooms, and prep for a fun and doable hike around the falls area. It took about five minutes to drive out to the park from the main road. You do need park pass as it is fee-based. You can enjoy the view of the falls from the parking lot if you do not wish to do the hike. It is nagnificent! There is a pay station at the front if entry if you do not have a pass. You are not required to stop there to pay, you can do so after parking.

Long scenic drive to get here, but worth it in my opinion, I lucked out and was able to drive it during sunset and truly a gorgeous experience! The falls are magnificent and rushing !! There are lots of picnic tables and even bbq pits. Definitely recommend packing lunch or something to grill and coming for a sunset dinner or even lunch. I think there are hikes in and around the area, not 100 % sure

Palouse Falls State Park is a Natural Marvel Nestled in Eastern Washington, Palouse Falls State Park is a breathtaking showcase of nature's grandeur. At its heart, the 198-foot Palouse Falls captivates with its thunderous cascade into a rugged canyon. The park also offers tranquil river vistas, where the Palouse River winds through rolling hills, providing serene trails and picturesque picnic spots. What sets this park apart are strategically placed seating areas that offer front-row views of the canyon and river. Palouse Falls State Park is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts too, with eagles and falcons often gracing the skies. It's an enchanting destination for anyone seeking a profound connection with the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

The falls are amazing as are all of the geological displays from the sides of the cliffs. Just amazing! You can hike around a bit above the waterfall, too.

Palouse Falls State Park is a stunning 105-acre park located in the Palouse region of Eastern Washington. Known for its breathtaking waterfall, which drops from a height of 198 feet, the park offers dramatic views that attract visitors from all over. The falls were carved more than 13,000 years ago by the Ice Age floods and are one of the last active waterfalls on this historic path. In 2014, the falls were designated as Washington’s state waterfall, thanks to a bill written by local schoolchildren. The park provides limited camping, picnic areas, and birding opportunities, and is an ideal spot for photographers and nature enthusiasts. Visitors should be prepared for a remote experience, as cell phone service is limited and the park is far from nearby cities and amenities.

The basalt canyon and falls are spectacular. The road to the park is like a washboard and very jarring to drive on. The trail around the western side of the falls is only about 0.75 miles with several overlook areas.
Awesome Gift Shop 🎁.. They have the cutest Dress 👗 Apron. I'll post a picture of it with this review. They also have a Restaurant and Ice Cream Shop inside. Awesome Ice Cream Waffle Cones. HUGE. for only $2.95.. My husband got a Chocolate Peanut Butter Shake for $3.95.. It was amazing. We will most definitely be back.. Give you 5 Stars

Stopped here on a whim and were so glad we did! We ordered: Cow pie combo pizza, cheese pizza and garlic cheese bread. All of it was absolutely amazing! Probably the best pizza I have ever had. The portions were very generous and although we were full, we opted for a piece of chocolate cream pie...tastes better than Grandma's. Highly recommend this place, friendly staff, exceptional food, clean facilities; cute gift shop and reasonable prices.

I stopped in last night to take a look and see what sorts of things they had at the Cow Creek Mercantile and let me say this building is jam packed with all sorts of things. On one side of the building there is a “restaurant” with seating that serves things like homemade soup, salads, pizza, dessert (and more) and then on the store side you will find things like gifts, toys for children, jam, soup mixes, tea, cookie cutters, jewelry, home decor items, stained glass, cards, soaps, dish clothes, scrub pads, lotions, masks, magnets, Christian items, books and much, much more! It’s worth a quick stop if even to just stretch your legs. Of interest is the fact that there is a number of electric charging vehicle stations at the far end of their parking lot.

I stopped here last night 12/02/2021, as I was traveling through. I thought I wanted a cold sandwich, but the very helpful and professional chef recommended their hot roasted turkey melt after I told them that I like turkey. I went with their recommendation and it was AMAZING!!!!! I will recommend this place to others and I think you'd have a great experience here too! Also there is a gift shop inside with some pretty cool things.

This is a great place to stop for a meal in the middle of nowhere. I ordered a half BBQ beef sandwich, served on a baguette and toasted, plus a side of broccoli salad. Soooooo yummy! My wife ordered the club sandwich with hamburger vegetable soup, both of which were delicious. If we're ever traveling to eastern Washington or northern Idaho, we'll definitely be stopping here!

Stopped in for a quick lunch passing through. 1 hour later, still no food on the table..... No idea why a sandwich takes that long. There was no wait for being seated at a table. But I should have guessed there was a reason why no one had food at their tables.. Once we got it, this was what we got. This picture is before we touched it.. Dont know why they bothered with the chips at all. Not worth the wait.. I would not recommend it.

😮GOOD GOSH ALMIGHTY 😮 Husband wanted pizza for dinner and I order what we usually get back home..large. meat-lovers type, their pizza 🍕 is HUGE and loaded with big slices of Canadian bacon, pepperoni and slices of mozzarella 😮 lots of crumbled sausage and bacon pieces. I could only eat one slice and my husband ate a slice and half🤣. We should have ordered either a small or just individual slices(not sure if that is an option)🤣🤣 pizza is really good 👍🏼 if from outta town I recommend this place but be worn...it's a LOT OF PIZZA🤣🥴😮

Stopped to have breakfast and shop a little. I ordered one of their scramble dishes; I wish I would have taken a pic. It was huge and absolutely delicious (had leftovers for two more breakfasts). They also have quite the assortment of gift and personal items (actually the first time I didn't buy anything). Time permitting, I always stop there. They also have great ice cream and desserts.
Lakeside aquatic park with a large pool, 3 slides, a river for tube floating & a surfing simulator.
Great way to cool down on a hot day. My kids absolutely loved the park. Admission fee was reasonably priced. Felt safe with all the life guards that are constantly on duty. Outside food is allowed but there is also a place that sells food their as well. We got a chocolate/vanilla swirl ice cream cone and some authentic tacos but there is a lot more to choose from. We loved the lazy river and splash pad area. We had a great family fun day!

Way back in the mid 90s when this opened up It was brand new and an absolute favorite to go to as a teen during the hot summers we would get in the 90s and 100s. Great memories of swimming and using the slides. Glad to see its still around and kept up nicely for future generations.

Wonderful little gem, not crazy like wild waves, or packed like slide waters. This has a limited amount of slides but if you have little kids or younger than 10, you'll be set. Small enough to keep your eyes on all the kids, but not too small.

Well maintained water park only a 20 min drive from our campground. Plenty of parking and plenty of chairs and picnic tables. Although you can bring your own food/drinks and snacks there's a hamburger/tacos and ice-cream stand. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked. There's an indoor community shower with soap but be aware before you decide to shower your kiddos the water is really hot and you have to keep pushing for more every minute. I guess is only to rinse yourself but used it in between playing in the pool to warm me up lol! Kids under 2 are free and between 2 to 5 are $8 The rest is $16. You can reentry with outside food anytime. There's a grass area where you can put a blanket or your own chairs or tent if you decid to bring them. Bring your own towels or by some at their shop which also sells sunglasses and other waters accessories.

I like this water park for younger kids under five because of the beach access. For older kids I prefer to travel to Chelan water slides. But the Moses Lake slides are still fun for older kids every once in awhile.

There are 3 water slides for the big kids and adults there are 2 diving boards high and low dive, there is a kiddie area and a baby splash area that has spray jets that come out of the ground, there is the surfing area that is a big hit for sure, a lazy river it is not a big lazy river but it does the job as long as you don't get dumped on by the water buckets the is a sand playground and a lot of shade in the grass area's. The cool thing is you can bring in food and a shade tent and stay all day. They do have a food stand and a small shop to buy things you may have forgotten. We buy the season pass because it is worth it for us if we go 3 times the pass is paid for. Parking can be tricky once in awhile but not to bad. There are a lot of lifeguards and they do their job well and are pretty polite as long as you follow the rules. I JUST WISH THEY STAYED OPEN LONGER SO I COULD FO AFTER WORK ON WEEKDAYS!
Jamie Niederkorn — Google review
We drive from spokane to join all our friends here about 30 minutes before the park was set to close my son was on diving board waiting for the other jumper to clear the water, Corbin a life guard was very disrespectful to my son and making comments about me to my son about him not having a mom or even his mom being dead because my son wouldn't jump when Corbin told him too and then proceeds to stop my 6 yr old daughter and tell her she needs to leave the park and not come back ever again. I'm pretty disappointed and will probably never return to the park. Nobody spends that kind of money to have a horrible experience, nor should a grown adult have a job being a lifeguard working around a bunch of children and saying that nasty stuff to them.

It's a great family water park. Slides for every age. Water stream tubing. Water spirts..statues for little ones. Shallow and deep end pools. Surfing water area. 4 and under free. You can bring in your own food. They sell food there as well. Hamburgs, nachos, carne asada fries and tacos. Great ice cream cones. Alot of shading.

Great family fun! Awesome spot to go with family, clean, water is always perfect. It has a lazy River, large swimming areas, diving boards, surf stimulator, shallow pool section for young children, sand box with toys, 2 sand volleyball courts, great slides. Bring your own food cooler but if you don’t no worries there’s vendor options. It’s a safe place for all ages.

It was nice, the soda is super expensive, but you can bring your own food in which is good and something I would recommend. It was pretty packed(being the height of summer and all) but I didnt stand in line for anything longer then 5-7 minutes. I especially like the lazy river, it's very relaxing. Plenty of sunny and shady spots to hang out, and tables to set up at to eat. The lifeguards seem to really be on top of things as well, respectfully reminding the kids of the rules and such. All and all a nice little break from the summer heat!

My family and I have been going here for years. If you've never been it's really an amazing place to go to enjoy a nice hot day away from the city. You pay once to get in, and you get an all-day stamp. You can bring in a cooler with food things you want to cook right there because they have BBQ grills available, just bring your own coal. People are super friendly and literally you can spend an entire day here.

This park was so gorgeous and what great views! We had a great time walking around and taking photos. There were campers, boaters, fishing, picnic tables. They had public restrooms. You do need a park pass to get in. It's $10 for the day as it's a state park.

Lovely oasis in the middle of high desert-ish. The campsite has a lot of beautiful trees that offer shade and a nice scenery. There is grass at the sites and there is a nice grassy field and playground on the way to the waterfront. There was a great constant breeze that kept is cool and even a little chilly come after dark. It was a nice night.

Beautiful campground and state park. In dry weather, the campsite could get really really dusty. However, there is a beautiful park next to it with an activity area and water front to soothe.

They have yet to fix the fish cleaning station. Its been over a year now. They will attend to the restrooms if you ask them. They fixed the clog drain right away after we asked. There is an owl family with a baby in the nest in one of the trees by the dock. Bird watchers should take the campsite at the end by the dock. Mom and dad perched above that site all nite. I am scared of them, but they were interesting to listen to. Anyways, there is one trash can at the play ground and you can open the door to the garbage compacter in the main parking lot and dump your trash. Restrooms need shelving and hooks for things. But overall a nice place to camp. Wish they had a fishing dock. Boat launch is pretty nice. Oh! And at night, watch for the deer. They will creep up on you if youre quiet. Also, sad note. One of the squirrels there fell ill and looked to have some neurological issues. We saw it on the day we left. Not sure what it had gotten, but it was sad to see it dying. It looked sick when we first got there and illness just progressed. Poor squirrel.

Great campsites here, especially the one in the middle surrounded by trees. It was very quiet here, which was a refreshing break from many other campgrounds. The water was a bit swampy however, so unless you're here with a boat, it's not exactly water that you'd want to swim in next to the shore. Otherwise a nice place! There are some trails too, but its nothing serious.

I just wanted a few days to camp in a peaceful spot but this was not a good trip. The spots were large and easy to find and the privacy wasn't a problem. But when I arrived there was no one at the check-in gate. They left a sheet of paper on my windshield to sign and return but I didn't see it and ... the gate was more than a half-mile down a rough, gravel road I wouldn't have wanted to walk. And if I drove, I'd have to leave my campsite. This was not convenient. Also, the groundskeeper was the only staff member there and when I was leaving, I asked where the garbage dumpster was. He mumbled something about the boat ramp area which I thought, but there wasn't anywhere there to leave garbage. Although the park information brags about all the shoreline, there's no access to the water except for a tiny area by the boat put-in and it's not safe. So, not the worst place, but not the most relaxing. I'm a tent-camper but consider my camping style to be glamping and If I'm going to pay the fees, there should be services.

Didn't know what to expect as we've never been to this area. Late March is nice, cold enough to snuggle at night, warm enough for shorts by day. Pleasantly surprised by the Sandhill crane migration--what a spectacle! My phone isn't good enough for long distance shots, but their cacophony and numbers are impressive. It's high desert and the sagebrush has that wonderful perfume when you rub it between your fingers. The best part of the campground: HEATED BATHROOMS AND SHOWERS! You don't have to shiver and hurry when you're taking care of business. The only downside was no water at our "full hookups" trailer site. Must be a winter thing. Had to fill up our tank at the entrance. No big deal, just don't repeat our mistake and unhook from your rig and set your jacks down until you verify power sewer and water. Oh, and the trailer sites are nicely arranged in big circles. Makes it easy to back up into your site.

Huge is the word to describe this State park. On the west bank of large Potholes Reservoir the park spreads out. The park accommodates a lot of RVs with trees shading many sites. There are a few mini cabins to rent. One is dog friendly. Tent camping also enjoys roomy sites. Three boat launches access the lake. Picnic tables are everywhere. There is a fish cleaning station, showers, restrooms, an innovative playground, volleyball courts, and Frenchman Hills Trail that follows a swift stream called Frenchman Hills Wasteway that drains east into Potholes Reservoir.

We stayed in one of the cabins. It's very cozy, and the AC works great! I highly recommend bringing an air mattress or camping mat for the beds. The mattresses are terrible. The shower was very unpleasant. Full of mosquitoes and slippery/slimy floor. It was quiet and relaxing in spite of it being a full park.
Melodie Scruggs — Google review
This is a clean, wrll kept state park. There's over 120 camp sites! Be aware there is no shade in the tent camping area. There are a lot of trees between sites, but they are tall and slender and don't offer shade through most of the day. Head to the big, open grassy park area for day shade. You can grill here or just spend time at a picnic table, escaping the heat. There is no boat ramp fee for registered campers. You can put in a paddleboard.or kayak next to the boat ramp. It was a very quiet park, despite the park being full for the 4th of July weekend. It's wonderfully free of light pollution at night. The showers are now free! The RV area looked DELUXE although I didn't camp there.

I love this park. It's perfect for fishing, camping, birdwatching, and events. There are a couple of volleyball nets set up there. It has a few picnic tables with barbecue grills by them.
Joe Morgunov — Google review
Nice and clean campground, we camped on the B section which is for tents only so is quieter but the showers are far away. There's a convenient store just outside on the main road about 5 minutes driving but if you need more complex supplies you'll have to drive to Moses lake or Othello both about 20 min from it being Moses lake a bigger town with more choices and even a water park. This campground is mainly for fishing and kayaking since it doesn't have a beach and shallow waters for little kids but also has a small flat loop trail along the river super easy for the children and stroller friendly. There's a cleaning fish station and besides the normal showers there's two private ones for handicapped or families with small kids not tokens necessary btw. Theses bathrooms are located in the parking lot and boat launching area and have flush toilets and sinks, a playground is there too. The toilets in the camping area are vaulted and no sinks but they're super clean and well stocked. There's a few potable water points too. The garbage dumping area is also in the main area by the boats parking so make sure to collect all your disposables before heading to the dumping area because is no too close. We noticed there's a group camping area too that seems even nicer than the individual ones because the grass is greener and is more secluded. Also, there are 5 cabins equipped with AC, picnic tables and grill. I'm not sure if you need kitchen gadgets but you do need to bring your own blankets. The small one are for 4 people and the big ones for 6. Overall it was a good experience but if you're like us that don't have a boat, kayak and need to entertain kids for longer periods look for something with a beach. I still recommend it though because is less than 3 hours drive from Seattle and you still get to enjoy the nature away from the noisy freeways.
PS. You'll need a discovery pass 😉

Went for dinner at Sorrento's with friends last night in Chelan as a treat and many recommendations. What a treat! View of Lake Chelan & vineyards, live music, indoor to outdoor seating, & exceptional service. The dinner menu offers something special for everyone.
If you get nothing else, get the fried calamari with lemon aioli (more, pls.), blood orange prawn salad, tomato bisque -- add crab for a full meal!, pork chop, & cioppino, which ate more like linguini with clam sauce.
Portions are huge; appetizers eat more like entrees. Prices reflect luxurious surroundings.
However...
Risotto was a little too al dente for my friend. Caesar was basic, creamy rather than tableside fresh & tart, & side spaghetti that went w/Chicken Parm a tad too heavily sauced.
Save room for dessert: tiramisu, chocolate cannoli, & afogatto, yum.
We'd go back for the views & lavish Sun. Brunch.
Make reservations early during heavily crowded seasons. Don't arrive 45 minutes late & raise a fuss, like one drunk lady did. They handled her w/utmost respect, btw
This wild horse monument is truly amazing! The climb up the hill is definitely worth it, even though it's steep and slippery. Once you reach the top, you'll be rewarded with a wow moment. Not only are the views incredible, but the horses themselves are life-sized, making the experience even more impactful.

First trip out and we had a great time. Went the weekend before memorial weekend and was pretty busy. The feathers got packed pretty fast. Lots of room to camp and people around were super friendly. Took my 3 year old and she was able to climb as well as have fun playing in the dirt. Make sure you bring lots of water and a tent that can stand up to the wind. Oh and only 1 restroom, so #2 was our only visits there and we had to wait in a decent size line so make sure you are prepared. Fun adventures await here.

We have driven past this monument a couple of times while on our way to concerts at The Gorge and in Moses Lake.
This time, we decided to pull over and check it out. It was a beautiful day for it. The hike up to the monument requires some stamina and stability. It is rocky and steep. Once you get up there, it is a beautiful view, and you get to see some of the details on the sculptures. Now that we have done it, we probably won't repeat unless we are with others who haven't done it, but I am glad we took the time to explore.

If you’re driving on I90 East a little past Vantage after you cross that beautiful bridge over the Columbia River you’ll run into this look out area.. Don’t worry if you miss it on the way there just make sure you stop by on the way back this way you can check out both look out areas. Nice parking with a great view of the Columbia River and surroundings. If you plan to hike to the top of the mountain to see the horse make sure you wear the appropriate shoes because it is a short steep hike. The view at the top is rewarding!

Do not wear sandles, berks, or flipflops up this short, but brutal uphill climb. The terrain past the first 200 feet will be miserable. Thanks to our friend, who prewarned us, we has the correct footwear and enjoyed the view from the top without issue.

Cool spot. If you plan to hike to the top of the mountain to see the horses close. I suggest trekking poles for coming back down. The hill is steep. The dirt and rocks are super loose and soft. Make sure you're leaning back as you're coming down to avoid falling forward.
The hike up is definitely worth it. The horses are awesome. The view is amazing. Sad to see so many of the horses had spray paint on them. Still cool. Just unfortunate. Kids thought it was cool. They did the hike just fine. Even wearing not the greatest shoes as this was a spontaneous stop.
No services at parking lot.

Sunned by beach. Fire pit. Each spot is large and private. Dogs and kids everywhere. Huge field with amazing trees. Blue water is gorgeous. Really so beautiful I don’t want to leave. Showers and bathrooms are adequate. Tokens are 2 for $1. 6 minutes. Didn’t use their snack bar. Went across main road for burger and shake. So good. Excellent onion rings. So, YES book early and stay two weeks if you can. The tent sites on side of hill overlooking lake are equally awesome. Beautiful boat docks. Kayakers and paddle boarders everywhere. I’m in love with Chelan.

Nice place for picnic and spending time. I was there December 1st week on weekdays and no one was there around noon, but it surely is some place I’d like to visit again. Plenty of parking. You will need discover pass or you may need to pay, however when I reached there was no one there. The drive from Leavenworth to Lake Chelan is also very beautiful.

A lot of the campsites are crowded, busy, noisy, and lack privacy as they are cramped too close to each other. The sites are very very dusty which would be great for pigs or bison who like to roll around in dirt. You would literally be mud-bathing if it ever started to rain. The sites need more pine needles, bamboo, rocks or something instead of dried up dirt and dust. They do have good token showers where one can wash off the dust and dirt.
The camp is crowded and there are tons of people from the Seattle area. There was lack of respect towards the quiet hours. Randomly, some genius decided to vacuum something at 10:30pm. Then at 11:30pm a loud revved up truck decided that it would a good time to roll over to the beach, that is right below the campsites, to pick up his boat or jet ski.
The best sites are one of the 36-70 sites that are close to the lake although they are still extremely dusty. Good for a night or two during the week since the Twenty-Five Mile Creek campground was closed due to wildfires. I would not want to witness this place on the weekend as it must be packed like a zoo.

So nice to visit the state parks here local. This one is one of my favorite to come and relax with the family specially during the week when it's not busy. You can also camp here.

I have gone to this camp site every year for 8 years and it is absolutely the most perfect mix of wilderness with the awesome hiking trails, and the commodities that I have grown a custom to as an American, with bathrooms, showers, a restaurant across the st from the park, and by the day park and kids swimming area there Is a little snack shack with floaties, ice cream, and milkshakes, n basically bar food. If u know what that is. Fries, burgers, hotdogs etc. 5 out of 5 for chelan always

I would definitely recommend this State Park campground. My site was perfect and spacious. The showers no longer need tokens, the little beach cafe is open for ice cream, fire wood, ice, and rental services. Staff are on site and friendly /respectable with plenty of great knowledge. There is a water schedule, so please be advised, their grounds are lovely, by the way.I will be coming back.

One of the best lakes in Washington. It was a hot summer day, we were in the water for the whole six hours. Paddleboarding and swimming were fun. The water color is fabulous. It was warm enough to enter the water and enjoy. Only problem, it is always crowded, so parking was difficult.

First time going to Lake Chelan. This was an amazing experience with my family. Field point staff was very knowledgeable, cheap parking, and they have Ferries to take you down the lake.

I always love a camping trip to Lake Chelan every year. This year we are being treated to beautiful foliage. Such a lovely l lake. My dog loves swimming in it even in cool weather. It is great for kayaking. There are great wineries in the area as well. They have a section for RV's. You are fairly close to your neighbor but there are open grassy areas behind you if you are on the left side.

One of the coolest and prettiest places I’ve ever tent camped at. I was there mid week after Labor Day too so it was quiet and not crowded at all. It was a little expensive, almost $40, especially being there by myself, but it was honestly worth it with how clean and well maintained everything was on top of the serene views. I will be back for sure!
Only downside was the No campfire rule being enforced, which of course makes perfect sense and I’m not upset about.

Great spot for camping in lake Chelan. Most definitely requires planning and reserving camp site ahead of time 3-4 months recommended.
There are campsite along water and shared and private ones as well.
It’s paddle board, kayak, kid, and pet friendly. The site has showers and toilet (very clean).
The rangers patrol periodically and answer any questions you have.

Beautiful, safe, calm, well taken care off park. The water is crystal clear. We went towards the end of Sept and as a californian it was too cold to get in the water. My kids did but after a while they too were cold. There was other people paddling on the lake. Bathrooms were well taken care of. Ranger was always on site and even though it was annoying that they would come to quiet us down after 10pm, it felt safe. The camp sites are nice and spacious.
Amazing market with plenty of shops and cafes. Our favorite was the honey shop with all the types of Honey and Mead to try. Best place for a Sunday afternoon.

Love this market and it's stalls. It's a must have visit. However, the COVID has taken a toll here as well. Many ships were shut down. What is surprising is that in this huge produce growing area, there were no fruit, vegetable shops left. Still a good place to but honey, trinkets, eat a wood fired pizza and drink some local brew
Viren Aggarwal — Google review
Visited on a Friday afternoon. Relaxed energy, multiple restaurants offering everything from coffee to pizza. Additional shops selling honey, meats, produce, wine, handmade items and more. Great spot for any meal of the day plus galato. This feels like a smaller version of the Granville Island Market in Vancouver BC. So similar and delightfully familiar. Walk outside and cross the quiet street to the Riverfront Park to enjoy beautiful scenery along the river.

This place is so neat. We got lots of goodies from the oil and vinegar shop at the entrance. Had yummy Gelato. And got some meat sticks from the butcher. Check this place out if you haven't before!

Great place to walk around shop and grab lunch! I love the cheesemonger shop! I recommend the raspberry ale cheese! Some cute things that are being sold by vendors in here. Very unique. Upcycled decor in many places. There's plenty of parking and there's also a large lake/body of water to sit by and just enjoy the quiet.

Pybus Public Market is so beautiful! I got to Wenatchee a bit late, which is a lot of stores are closed.
I'll try to stop by earlier the next time around. The atmosphere is beautiful. It's next to the Hilton Garden Inn along the Columbia River.
If you are in Wenatchee, visiting the Pybus Public Market is recommended.

Such a quaint, cozy market! ❤️ It reminds me of Pike Place in Seattle. There’s an array of diverse restaurants & shops bustling with jovial people bonding over a warm meal & a drink 🍝🥃🥗 Sometimes you can even catch a live music session! 🎵🎻 Truly a magical place that is a happy hub for the local community.

Good place to go for food. Close to the river. The ambience here is perfect. I would recommend dining in one of the outdoor patios. Has multiple choices for food.

The Pybus Market in Wenatchee is a cool place with a modern vibe that houses a meat market, many restaurants, and some cute little shops as well as a bicycle rental company. It was hard to choose but we ate at South with great service and deliciously different food. The fish tacos and dip appetizer were excellent.

Reminiscent of Pike's Place in Seattle or Granville Island in Vancouver, BC, this indoor public market, built in what looks like an old train station (and considering its location, seems likely), is packed with restaurants, specialty grocers, cafes, wineries and boutiques: a little something for everyone. Whether you're looking for a fine wine, a cheese to pair with it, some sliced meats to construct a charcuterie board, fresh honey, olives and olive oil, or just a bite to eat and a cocktail, Pybus Public Market has something for you.
Being from out of town, the Pybus Public Market was one of the first places of interest I spotted in Wenatchee on Yelp, and I knew it was the sort of place that would interest my wife and I. This place is the sort of community hub that takes the best of what a city or town has to offer, and presents it attractively in one neat, concise package, appealing to locals and tourists alike. My only strike against it would be wishing that it was larger, and even more comprehensive!
Jason Van Camp — Google review
Loved the selection of restaurants, wine and beer places, and other shops in this open warehouse. Lots of choices with an open community feel. Sit inside or out depending on weather or wind. Rode our bikes from the Confluence State Park along the fabulous bike trail, about 2 miles mostly level, paved, and no car interactions. Wenatchee has done something very special with the waterfront parks and paved trail along the river connecting downtown businesses with two state parks.

Loved it. Very nice .beautiful and warm inside. Coffee ☕️ shops and Bike Rentals next to the Columbia River.
Scott McCullough — Google review
Bit of a let down. Was (perhaps unfairly) comparing it to Seattle's Pike Place Market (the clue is in the sign) where they toss fish and have artists and street performers alongside an expanse of clothing and jewelry and home decoration vendors. The Pybus Public Market is more like a food court at a large shopping mall. They do have some vendors but overall it was an underwhelming experience. To be totally fair the assortment of food choices was nice.

A lovely place filled with interesting stores selling balsamic vinegar, honey, cheese etc and an array of restaurants. If you just finished a day on the mountain and are seeking a place for dinner, this is the no. 1 place I'd recommend!
Tyrael Tong — Google review
Small building with a couple of vendors selling soaps, artwork, accessories, bread and jarred pickles. Mostly restaurants. I didn't try the food so I dont know if it's good because we had lunch already but the building is located right next to a riverfront park. Could be a casual lunch spot with a view or walk. I was expecting more local produce, gifts, and baked goods from a "market". I came on a Sunday.

What a creative idea for people to come together. The market has something for everyone from fresh produce to wine! Warmer weather brings out more booths in the outdoor market. Several eclectic restaurants inside along with gelato and coffee. Definitely a place to stop off if you are in the area!

This place is definitely worth walking around. Cute shops and really nice people. Our 3-star rating is based on the fact that we have eaten at 3 different restaurants there and have found them all to be mediocre. Check it out but recommend walking a couple of blocks up the road to eat.
A mile of natural stone paths amid hillside gardens, pools & woods. Open seasonally.
Such a beautiful place to view and walk/hike.
Wonderful background on how this came to be!
Definitely will come back in the future and recommend to all family and friends!
The rock benches are the absolute best!! Jaw dropping experience. (:

The amount of work it took to create this little paradise is just astounding. From hauling rocks there, to hauling water to take care of it all. Definitely was a labor of love. It's a beautiful, shady trail that weaves up and down the hill, with nice views of the wenatchee area below. Lots of pretty flowers.

A unique garden built on a hillside. A great place to come on your own for a quiet time of reflection or to read a book tucked into a peaceful area. Bring your friends and family and enjoy roaming the beautiful hillsides. Look for gnomes or sit next to one of the many ponds or roam the hillsides and enjoying the flowers and nature.

Amazing gardens, totally worth the trip. Cool alpine style gardens on top of a sagebrush covered hill. Many things to see throughout the gardens, traveling through the forest you find hidden pools and waterfalls. Amazing spectacular views of the surrounding area and the Columbia river. The flagstone paths are a bit uneven, so grab a walking stick from behind the gift shop if you have any difficulties with balance or walking. Decent shoes for walking too, I wore flip flops and it was not a good idea.

This is a hidden gem. We ended up spending 4 hours relaxing on the various benches and exploring the paths. The views are fabulous. Don't miss the Hobbit Bench! There are several pools with beautiful reflections. Bruce in the office was very knowledgeable and helpful. They even have walking sticks to borrow!

Ohme Gardens Park is a small oasis with lots to see! I was expecting more signage and educational information, and it would have been nice to have water fountains throughout the park for guest use. (Side note - it was 105°+ on the day we were there in mid-July, which made the experience a little difficult to enjoy).
If the weather was better, we could've spent more time exploring the park. The park is mostly made up of stone pathways that lead you through various ponds and views. There are stone benches throughout the park where you can stop and enjoy the view. We saw some birds, a lizard, and lots of goldfish.

Nice view. Good photo spots. Kids enjoyed moving around. The map they gave was helpful.
Not stroller/wheelchair friendly. My friend was able to enjoy the garden by having the infant in a baby carrier

My experience of this garden was colored by our previous (last week) visit to Buchart Gardens near Victoria, BC. While Ohme is very nice, it can't come up to the beautiful garden in Victoria. The paths are very uneven, which adds to the beauty of the gardens. This is not a place that is very accessible to those in wheelchairs.

UNBELIEVABLE! I fell in love with this gem. High up in the hills, this green garden oasis is filled with charm, resting places and peaceful energy. Stone paths wind up and down through the acreage leading to ponds, waterfalls, nooks and benches carved in stone and lush landscaping. Lots of photo opps and you’ll want to capture the views of the valley and mountains. I visited in May; temperatures were ideal and pleasant. Paths very manageable with children who are comfortable with stairs (no wheels).

Wonderful hiking spot with many easy trails to walk around on. They cleverly placed gnomes and fairy's all around the mountainside so you could try and find them. Amazing views of all the Wenatchee land and river.
Sprawling winter sports area in a 2,000-acre basin with 4 chair lifts & 36 designated runs.
Great place for beginners, Freedom Pass program exceeded my own expectations. The staff members are amazing, especially the ski school staff. The energy they all give off is contagious, I found myself laughing and joking along with them. By lesson #4 we were all on a first name basis. It's been a great experience and I'm looking forward for next season, thanks Mission Ridge!

Visited Saturday 1/22/22. $105 total all day lift, preferred parking, fees and taxes. After rain earlier in the week, conditions were hard ice with a thin groomed layer. Less than 1/3 of the trails were groomed and they were scrapped down after my first 3 runs. 2-2 chair lifts take you up to a high speed quad and 1 more 2 seat chair. I was impressed by the speed of the quad at 17-18mph but most importantly- it didn’t stop running one time during my visit. I’ve visited other Washington resorts where the quad chairs stop frequently but that’s not the case at Mission Ridge. So despite a line at the lift, it goes by fast. All 2 chairs are old school and you gotta be familiar so with new skiers and kids they did stop but not too much. Be prepared to ride with strangers as they don’t have a social distancing policy on the lifts. I was a bit disappointed to see they let early birds stage equipment at beginning of lift line thereby reserving first in line spot without having to stay with the gear.
Lodge was nice with usual fare usual prices. Bathrooms are clean and good condition except the bathrooms located close to the parking lot. They were fairly run down and unkept. Customer service was very good with every engagement we had with the Mission Ridge team.
Today I was only able to hit 1/4 of blues and greens and one blackD but once the groomed was scrapped it was seriously dangerous. The well traveled skier can easily see the mountain would be fantastic skiing under better conditions. Trails run today. Upper and lower Tumwater, Sun spot, upper and lower lip lip, bomber bowl, toketie, Mimi, and boundary road.

Okay, I’ve been going to mission all season, and I’ve loved it, but the icing on the cake has to be the women’s intermediate and advanced group lessons. I’ve really felt myself strengthen as a skier under the tutelage of Laurie, Sam, Heather, and Anya.
Today, I did what was essentially an individual lesson with Laurie, and it was such an amazing experience. She is so kind, so encouraging, and so passionate about the sport. It really helped me to grow my confidence on off-piste terrain. And she knows the mountain so well, it’s really nice to get to explore things I never would have gotten to see on my own. I really cannot thank her enough. If you get a chance to learn from her, just know you really are learning from the best.

Friendly small mountain vibe. Good length green runs for my little kids to learn on. Most chairs are the old school 2-seaters, but they do have 1 very nice upgraded quad chair lift with conveyor loading and windshields (chair 2) and it's the best - goes to the top for an epic 360 view!

The local ski resort of choice. Gorgeous views, great options for food and beverages, fun activities, super friendly and fun staff. An overall warming experience even though you’re in the cold, snowy mountain valley. Oh and clean bathrooms!!! That says A LOT about how this resort cares about the quality of everything they provide their guests.

Mission Ridge is the quintessential "old school" ski area. People are friendly, service is great, lines are short, grooming is fantastic, and there is enough interesting terrain for skiers of any level. I gave up on ski areas closer to Seattle owned by big corporations and made Mission my primary ski area. Views are pretty sweet also.

Great one if you can stay in Wenatchee for a night. We live in Seattle so it's a bit far as a winter season go-to ski resort. This year the snow conditions in Seattle nearby resorts weren't as good so we wind up here, and we are not disappointed! The place is much less crowded, and when you go up the mountain the snow is very good! It's also just about 25 minutes away from Wenatchee where you can find plenty of food varieties. We'll definitely come back to spend more weekends this season!
I was passing through and decided to stop. Not too far off from Route 2. I didn't get to do the tour but there is a video and you can see them working through the windowed door. They have free samples of some of their treats. I was surprised that I really liked the Apricot & Walnut Cotlets more than the Apple & Walnut Aplets or the Pineapple & Macadamia Fruit Delights. All were good though. They also have a bunch of other items like chocolate covered nuts and flavored popcorn and such. Nice little stop. And very inexpensive. I think it's worth the detour.

This is a very nice candy store that's been around for 100 years. We went in today but unfortunately the tours were not happening because workers did not work on Sunday. We bought four boxes of chocolate covered fruits for our friends back home for $28. Cheaper than going to See's candy. I could see inside the production room it was probably 2,000 ft. Simple machines, conveyors, mixers etc. I watched the video inside the store which showed the process which is pretty basic. No Hi-Tech manufacturing, just got old fashioned assembly line manufacturing. We would like to go back when the production is working so we can watch in person

There is a good sized parking lot here which is free for customers of the candy shop.
Tours are currently unavailable. The statement is a walnut shortage. You can purchase your one favorite orchards cany by the bag here. There are chocolate covered walnuts, choc covered peanuts, gummy candies, fruit and nut bar chunks, a photographic layout of the candy history, a video, on loop, showing how the candy is made, the supposed, original stove the candies were created on and finally a couple of refrigerators with cold drinks.
They do have specials with Bogo. Right now the chocolate covered fruit candies are bogo.
This was neat to see once. The main street of downtown Cashmere half a block away.
