Great place to relax while camping, fishing, boating. Activities for the kids includes shows at the amphitheater, 9 hole disc golf, basketball court, Beach side playground. Just be careful with food around the prairie dogs and chipmunks

It’s so beautiful here. By far, Top 3 for our family. The water is green and clear. The only down fall is the rocky beach. I would recommend wearing sandals in the water. Campsites are very clean, some have electric outlets and USB ports. We love the fact that they are dog-friendly. Beach area is great for both those who want to be near the kid-friendly area or on the boat dockside… where less people are and it’s a lot quieter. They have a really nice convenience store right on site that has every little thing that you forgot and more. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Got lucky with spots. But for non residents of Idaho, it's expensive. $78 a night. But we enjoying the time we getting here. Dog friendly.

After hearing nothing but good things from the local folk, we decided to take a couple of days and went up to fish and explore Priest Lake. This place is an absolute gem! The water is so clean and clear, and the perfect temperature for a swim in the heat of the afternoon. We even had luck with a few trout and smallmoth bass off the dock. The photo opportunities are limitless and if you have a boat I definitely suggest you bring it! My only issue was the number of people (the campground was nearly full) but everyone was respectful and friendly. We will be going again!

Beautiful area, rode up here to score a destination point for one of my passions. My 4 Star rating is due to the developers influence in the area.
Was going to try a Huckleberry ice cream cine at a specific spot in Coolin but, it appears that being locked up at 3 pm on a weekday is preferrable to making a successful business or it is the new business model post covid either way, disappointing side note.

WORKERS ARE LURKING - This HAS always been a favorite of ours, however; things have changed some & I'll cut right to the chase. Check out day....Father's Day 2023, while we were eating breakfast a couple of the parks people were driving around in their golf cart & stopped & "reminded" us check out was is at 1, we said we were aware & thank you, & they said no worries just letting you know. Now mind you it wasn't even quite 11am yet. After breakfast we began getting our RV ready to leave but my husband found that one of the stakes he made to hold down our awning a few years back had apparently been poured in concrete by a bandit the night before because it would literally not come out of the ground for any reason. Now being ex military my husband can ALWAYS do/make/fix anything with nothing but this tiny stake we used had now decided to test his mastery. Tool after tool, make shift tool after tool - you only have so many tools with you when you're camping as you know,& still nothing. Here comes Ranger Rick again in his golf cart, alone this time. My young son politely greeted him as he pulled up & then he exclaimed to my husband, "you know check out time is 1pm we told you that earlier." I could see mortar shells flying from my husband's eyes but he politely responded with yes, however; I've got a slight issue here as you can clearly see (since he was standing right next to my husband.) Ranger Rick went on to comment, "well you haven't been working on this for half an hour (had this man been hiding in the trees in order to make a statement like that) & then he continued with "and you still have other things to do." At that moment I decided it was best I should just go back to what I was or even was not doing until he was gone. Now mind you it is not even 1pm yet, it is 12:45 & my husband had actually been struggling with the stake for almost exactly a half hour so if he was hiding in the trees he needs a new watch. Since I had just finished up all my typical inside jobs I decided I would do a couple outside ones that were left of his since he was still wrestling with the stake. Needless to say he got the super stake out & just as were pulling out (only 16 mins past 1pm I might add) our camping neighbors came over to share "their" story with us after hearing the show at our trailer. They had a similar issue when they got there & were quite unhappy too. Apparently Ranger Rick started banging on their door at 8am Friday morning waking up their kids all because they hadn't "checked" in their reservation yet. They pulled in after the office had closed Thursday evening. This is not the attitude one should get nor expect from park representatives. I understand there are times when people clearly stay late with blatant disregard & I get people can be handfuls these days too but neither of these situations applied to ours. Needless to say... if you don't like your job, quit, if you're angry at the world a job dealing w/the public is probably not the best for you. So campers, stay here and enjoy this lovely park but beware there are watchers in the trees just waiting to pounce.
***Suggestion for/to all the parks.. if your offices are closed when people pull in to the parks your employees on the golf carts should be able to check campers in at their sites, but ONLY after you see they're awake, after all we are on vacation. It would also alleviate hooking/unhooking our rigs just to drive to the office to register sometimes.

Super nice place. Will come back here again. All family really enjoyed the time spent there. Everything is good except that they made only for Idaho residents good prices, to all people from another states you have to pay double. In general super clean warm water. Will recommend to everyone to visit this place.

Priest Lake has several Units that are accessible for the public. Indian Creek is the first of two units on the Eastside of this clean beautiful mountain lake. It has 93 campsites from no hookups to to hookups with water, electricity, and sewer. There are cabins and many water activities and areas for outdoor recreation. The store and park service amenities are rich and stocked with supplies for all camping needs. The Lionhead Unit is another dozen or so miles north with a more rustic setting but it too has a nice littler camping area at a less used location as the last three miles is unpaved. It is very tranquil and less utilized. If lake areas and activities are a desire then Priest Lake is a little slice of heaven.

Absolutely beautiful! The Hawaii-like sand on the beach was a pleasant surprise. Plenty of breathtaking views of the lake & mountains regardless of where you are located. Vast quantities of hiking trails for all ages. Very family friendly. Phone & Internet service is intermittent.

Great combination of beach, hiking trail, and chilling by campfire. It's nice that safe campfires are not forbidden during high fire danger season. We had excellent relaxing time s a family. Close proximity to beach, lighted toilets and showers, timely trash removal, friendliness of staff, and many other perks made our mini-vacation very special! Short hiking trail starts at the campsite.

Great camping area, hard to book as it fills up quick, so you better book it 9 months ahead. Awesome experience,
Fun little trail that goes along the lake shore. Lots of park benches, outlook benches, and fun adventures to explore just off the trail. The most fun surprise was the old bridge footings that were exposed due to seasonal low water. We’re excited to come back in the Summer and swim around the footings that will be covered with higher water.

This is a great place for kids, adults, runners, walkers, cyclists, whoever. Getting to the end is an all day endeavor, but there's plenty of benches to stop at and you can climb down the rocks to the water if you wanted. The trail itself is pretty flat with some small hills, and lots of old building foundation remnants. Lots of little paths off the main trail to explore, that always come right back to the main trail. I love going here with my friends and seeing what new things we can find.

I got off the Amtrak train at 3am and found a place to sleep just off the trail. What a pleasant view to wake up to and continue my travels. Sandpoint is a beautiful town, you are blessed. Thank you, 💕 Space Travler
Space Travler — Google review
Nice trail about 3 miles out and back. About 1 mile in dogs can go off leash.
Trail is about 60% shaded for hot days and it's right along the lake with a nice breeze.
There is a warning near the end of the trail that the ground has lead from pools snowing operations in the area and that you should wash your hands and not touch the dirt or breathe the dust... You have been warned of the lead contaminates .
The instructions are correct but it looks like you are in a condo complex but then there is clear trail head parking for about a dozen cars. Parking is limited to 2 hours and we saw them checking.

The walk was easy, and the trail was well-maintained. The lake is beautiful.
Carol Ebert — Google review
Beautiful walk along the lake. Terrain was fairly flat and made for an easy walk. It’s an off leash dog trail and owners were very respectful.
Ashley Milan — Google review
Highlight of our day! The trail is about 1.5 mile each way of perfect, low impact surface; almost completely shaded and flat except for the short decline at trailhead. The view is beautiful. PS Due to new construction just before the trailhead, there was a sign saying road closed but it wasn't blocked and the parking area was available and open.
Rhonda Swagman — Google review
This is a beautiful, well maintained easy trail for walkers and cyclists. There are many benches along the way for strollers as well. The views are magnificent. It is very popular though and sometimes a little bit crowded and parking is minimal.

Great day trip to go up to the waterfall. Very easy hike and beautiful scenery. Bald eagle’s, deer, cranes and peaceful. Can’t go wrong.

Beautiful nature preserve with well maintained hiking/walking paths. If you're lucky, you may see moose or deer. We saw hawks, a bald ealge, and a variety of geese and ducks. It's a very nice hike up to Myrtle Falls. Easy enough for the whole family, and the views are worth it.
Heather March — Google review
Very beautiful place. It has a mix of mountains, rivers/creeks and valley plains. The main attraction seems to be the trail to Myrtle Falls, but there is more to it than that.

Absolutely gorgeous! This is a great place to find some amazing views. You don't even have to hike if you don't want to, the drive up the mountain is amazing! Just make sure if you do want to drive UP, you should have an SUV or something similar, its good to have the ground clearance and AWD. I only drove halfway up, but it was still 10/10 views.
Jacob Hanson — Google review
A great place for bird watches, plus if your up for a hike, there is a waterfall there as well.

Short, mostly smooth, sometimes steep, but always beautiful hikethrough the woods to Myrtle Falls.
Spotting scopes available at the rest rooms for viewing burds and wildlife in open areas.
David McCoy — Google review
A beautiful refuge in a gorgeous part of the country. I took the trail up to Myrtle Falls. The falls themselves are a bit hard to see due to trees but it was a pleasant short hike. The auto loop has a very well maintained road with a few wide spots. In all honesty the best time to visit isn't middle of the summer as there was virtually no waterfowl to be seen. My next visit will be for the fall bird migration when birds should be plentiful. All in all I had a nice visit.
Tim Flagg — Google review
I love area's like this, you get to see a lot of wildlife. The first time I came here I was 13 and it was an open marsh with no walking paths! When I'm back in the area I stop and see what has changed.
I love the walking paths and the abundance of wildlife not to mention the short hike to the falls.
As always, leave it better than you found it and enjoy! 😉

New Years day the husband, pup and I went for our first hike. This was a great hike and beautiful. The walk to the waterfall is pretty easy and family friendly. Going up past the Falls the trail gets pretty narrow and was really slick (it's winter). The restroom at the bottom of the trail was really clean!
The Falls were beautiful and at the top it opens up and the view of the wetlands was breathtaking!!! Highly recommend!

What a beautiful and peaceful place. It takes about 15 minutes to hike to Maple Falls and it's such a serene setting. I highly recommend a visit.

With new construction, will create a challenge for waterfowlers for a few years. Not a place for hikers/walkers during the fall.
Kristie Campbell — Google review
Very beautiful area though not much to see at the reserve itself. Some interesting wildlife, such as beavers and deer, and a good variety of birds, osprey, bald eagles, peregrine falcon, pheasants, and many more Canadian geese than can be counted. Can recommend Myrtle Falls trail and the Kootenay River running nearby. The nearby river also has a great place to camp for free. Highly recommended.

Lillian at Heart Rock is lovely! Great wine, great vibe. Every week I say to myself "I'm going to stop in and have a glass after work" and then something else comes up. The frequency of my visits does not adequately reflect my appreciation for this place.

I met Lillian 7 years ago in her Heart Rock Wines establishment and remember feeling that she brings a breath of fresh air to Bonners Ferry. Since then we’ve spent many hours trading stories. She’s delightful and she really knows wine. When out of town guests are visiting, we make a point of taking them to this great wine cellar. We can count on quality wine and a comfortable atmosphere.

Heart Rock Wines is a great place - cozy atmosphere where you can talk with friends in a comfortable environment. Proprietor Lilian knows her wines and specializes in wines from the Pacific Northwest. My wife and I go there with some frequency, always enjoy ourselves and have been introduced to some great wines.
I can't say enough about Heart Rock, it's a gem in our little town and a wonderful addition to our community.

Heart Rock Wines is a warm, friendly, lovely haven. Lillian, the proprietor, and her husband Kris, make you feel welcome and cared for. The atmosphere is cozy and the wine and beer selection is outstanding. Hands down the best treasure in Bonners Ferry.

The owners go out of their way to give you a favorable experience while visiting Heart Rock. They have an amazing inventory of wine, and do wine tastings. They are very knowledgeable, and will help you find something you will love. They also have canned cocktails, beers, and ciders, so there is something for everyone. The atmosphere is always friendly in there, and we end up chatting with the locals and making new friends. Not to be missed when in the area.

The owners hate Bonners Ferry, hate the people & it shows. Go back to wherever you came from. We are a happy positive community and sadly your bringing it down with your negative comments. Hopefully however you got so sour can be healed. Blessings!

Laid-back riverfront hotel offering a casino & a spa, as well as an indoor pool & a restaurant/bar.
Great place to stay and play. Hotel was nice, clean, and staff was friendly. Comfortable beds. They offer room service and they even had bathrobes in the room.
The casino has 3 different rooms. 2 non-smoking and one for smokers and has a bar in the smoking area. The restaurant had great food. Also it was all very reasonable in price. Nice indoor swimming area too. I would revisit.

It gets hard to move around in there with people from all over makes it hard to relax. But.........! It means that the environment is very nice and everyone enjoys going there. I used to get coupons for different things which was nice. Haven't been able to visit as much as I like. You may think someone is paying me to say it but it's all around great for the things that hotels are to require. I hope they might read this and know that they are doing a great job.

So far so good. Checked in nice and easy. Plenty of parking. Room was on the second floor, thankfully there was an elevator. Room was clean and everything worked as intended. Only exception would be the power outlets are worn out and there are not enough of them near the bed.
Location is good, walkway to the downtown area is very convenient. I did take 1 star off, nothing the property itself can do, but there is a Railroad crossing just across the main road and BNSF honks about every hour. The community could file for a Quiet Zone from the Railroad if enough people complained.

Ya, I really like this place!
I'll give it a 5 if it goes the same on my return visit.
Dog friendly! My kid really likes the trains that pass at the back end of the parking lot.
The food was very generous! Tasted fresh.
Continental breakfast of sorts was excellent!
Clean room, hot shower with volume.
Friendly staff.
Lovely little old downtown was so fun to walk around and get beers and tasty treats from all the restaurants and the brewery.
Cool local history along the way.
You can walk away from your stroller on the sidewalk while eating and you don't have to worry about some jack-mule rear face pony boy STEALING it. 😉 Cool place. Cool town.

What a beautiful place to escape to. They have thought of it all. As a Hilton member with diamond status and a professional traveler, these guys have more to offer than most other hotels. To me it's the small things that matter in a nice hotel stay. I was blown away with the real glasses and coffee mugs. Other hotels have styrofoam and plastic cups, I hate those; there is no class with cheap cups. The view was therapeutic. They offered robes to lounge in, and use to and from the spa and pool. The only other hotel that offers robes, that I've been to, is the Bellagio in Las Vegas. Kootenai River Inn also offers room service and I haven't seen that since before covid. Thank you guys for making my wedding anniversary stay special and offering all those special small touches.

Absolute comfort and hospitality of the Kootenai people makes this stay one of the best in the PNW. We stayed in the Lodge and found our rooms to be impeccably clean. The restaurant located near the river Bank was our choice every night and morning. We found everything on the menu so delicious! My favorite was the Sweet Thai Chili Salmon. I am still dreaming of it. 😛😍
They have a mix of old and new games and I was not bored. Will always return to stay here when I am on summer vacation. Thank you for everything. 🥰

If you're confused by my rating - 5 stars on rooms, service, and location - the reason is simple. One of the main reasons I chose this facility rather than others in the area was the hot tub. The problem: the hot tub was not only unusable but, in my opinion, dangerous.
The first evening, my wife and I suited up to use the hot tub after a day of donating money to the machines and alas our soak lasted fewer than 30 seconds. The hot tub, which my wife noted was cloudy to the point you couldn't see the bottom , was *badly* over-chlorinated. We both got in, and in less than 30 seconds, our eyes, nose, throat and lungs were burning to the point of severe discomfort. Our eyes continued to burn and we both coughed for a full 2-3 hours after getting out. The next morning we went in the pool area and the hot tub appeared clear and didn't have the intense chlorine smell - but alas that evening it was right back to hyper white and badly over chlorinated. The chlorine level was so bad that my swim trunks very literally smell like a chlorine puck.
In short - the rooms were quite clean (albeit a bit oddly setup with the TV off to one side and the coffee maker having to be used on the bathroom vanity); the staff were all very friendly; and the location easily accessible. But when one of the major reasons for selecting a facility (in our case, the hot tub) is unusable and frankly dangerous - that warrants a hefty deduction in rating.

Had a hard time deciding whether to give it a two or three! The room was really nice! Very spacious nice bed beautiful view Over the River and the mountains behind it! The restaurant was pretty nice with good food and good service! The casino was pretty lame and the service in the casino was not only nonexistent but downright rude! Might go there and rent a room again but won't spend any other money there at the casino I'll spend my money elsewhere in Bonners Ferry!

It was a nice weekend getaway! The staff were very friendly and provided good service. The hotel was clean and the food was good. The restaurant specials were really reasonable priced with quality food! Even our free breakfast was above and beyond what we thought we would get.
The only disappointment we had was dinner Saturday evening. It appeared they were short staffed with an event happening next to the restaurant as well. It took a long time to get dinner and the server totally forgot to get my order as I only wanted dessert and needed a menu. When I finally ordered , it took 10 minutes for the server to return just to tell me they were out of what I wanted. By this time my guy was finished with his dinner. I was not happy and very disappointed, as i sat there for 30 minutes. Other than that experience, we really enjoyed our stay and will return.

Husband received free room coupon in mail and we decided to go up for a night. Made several appointments at their spa. Husband had to go to work and called to see if I could check in early. Made 3 hour drive to get up for my first spa appointment. Went to check in and the woman at the hotel desk I am assuming was the manager was one of the worst rudest people I have ever seen. Insisted that my husband had to check in although she saw the notes that he would not be arriving until late that night. She insisted that she would charge the room rate of $179 (they had been advertising all over television special room rates much much lower) until he got there and they would reverse the charge (which could take up to 10 days!!). The hotel is not worth that kind of rate. I was so stressed out that I refused to be treated like that. I told them I had no choice but to cancel. She insisted that they would charge the credit card and then reversed it. It didn't matter that he called to make prior arrangements although the notes were in the computer that I would be checking in early due to spa appointments. So sad that there is absolutely NO hospitality or customer service. I was so upset that I kept my first spa appointment but cancelled all my other ones for the following day and went and found another hotel to stay at for the night. Would I stay there again even if they offered my a free hotel? No, there are just as nice if not nicer places in the area for just as much or cheaper rate and has to have much better customer services......

Stopped by for a late lunch. I was seated WITHIN 2 Minutes with a river view.
My waiter first set me up with some sort of Slow Irish Death on Tap-Delicious!
I ordered Garlic Parmesan Fries with 2 types of Dip & Selkirk Chicken Fettuccine.
Between the Irish Death & fries, I had to pack up 1/2 of the Fettuccine.
Topped it off with a chocolate sundae.
I recommend this place for solo dining or a large company meal and/or Retreat.

The Best Western Plus exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds. We just arrived home from 16 days in Africa. We stayed at some very nice resorts. The Best Western Casino and Spa was a business trip for us. Everything about the resort, the staff, the restaurant etc. was top notch and ever bit as good as our recent trip abroad. We will definitely be going back with our kids and grandkids. There is something for everyone at Kootenai River Inn.

This is a great hotel stay and they have a nice restaurant overlooking the water. Friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms… having grown up going to Vegas, this isn’t really much of a casino. Basically just slots and that’s it. we spent a couple days adventuring around the area and had a great time. Beautiful part of the country.

My stay at the best Western at the casino sucked we were told we would get a room with a river view with balcony when we got there it was no such thing it was a room facing a building that is being worked on and we were told we would get a champagne bottle with party favors that again was not the case we got a hat and to tell you I was looking forward to this getaway for my 29th anniversary with my man and things were not what was said to us was a disappointment then my husband try talking to Adam flack who was the general manager at least that is how he introduced himself and said that they couldn't refund anything back to us after we explained everything to him and the manager that was at the desk when my husband returned the keys and what really got me that morning there was a employee who was drunk and just stepped in front of my husband as he was in line to cash out and they are covering that up saying it was not a worker but his badge was in his pocket and was wearing a black and red vest and the cashier knew him and was just letting it happen which I feel was wrong in all aspects the customer should have better service than that the only thing I got from this is the customer service sucked from the casino to hotel service but the restaurant was amazing with the food.

This is as gorgeous area and we had a river view room. The rest of this hotel and casino are extremely dated. I felt like I needed to deep clean myself and my stuff after leaving. Rooms are run down and the beds were horrible. I also don't like that you don't need a key to enter the hotel from outside or from the casino. Didn't feel safe. There are some updated casino games but not much luck for me. The pool and spa felt gross and I would not stay here again. Cute little town to visit though and maybe the best accomodations for the area.
This is a very pretty area to visit if you are ever in Creston British Columbia. The Kootenay River runs through this valley on its way into the United States and through the Middle of Bonners Ferry Idaho.

This is a cool place to take the kids while you're in Creston. It's a look back in time and how the people that called this place home survived and the ways they made their living.
The old miners tunnels, railroad and lumber machinery is mind boggling to think this is all they had and the ingenuity that they had to build these things. Now look at how modern technology has advanced from where it began.
As always leave it better than you found it and enjoy 😉.

Lots of history for the local area and a nice little gift shop. Tyler was a great guide that seemed excited to show you around and worked with 3 your kids and kept them entertained throughout the hour.

We had a great visit to the Creston Museum, there are lots of well setup displays inside and outside the facility. They have a number of local treasures for you to explore. Local or a visitor take the time to stop in. We also had an excellent tour host as well.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. One young lady delayed her lunch to interact and play educational games with our kids.
My boys also loved the model trains on the upper floor which is a replica of Creston during the railroad era.
The museum captured the history of Creston and area very well. There's an extensive collection of farming equipment. The grounds are well maintained, including a heirloom garden.
Overall, a great place right off of the main road to spend a hour or two. Admission price is also very reasonable.

I just yesterday went to jimmies liquor store to buy a 24 pack of kokanee beer. Just under $55 out the door. ABSOLUTELY NOT. Bought pilsner beer instead. Almost $8.00 cheaper. You really need to address this!!!

Beer beer, my Kingdom for a beer! drank beer all my life all over the world, just love Kootenay beer. Recently discovered a super ale Kootenay True Ale....Well ah must say folks, its a form of Nectar bought my first ones in Osoyoos BC my new home town. If only we had real freedom to buy our beer in stores, shops, supermarkets, ect like Quebec and the rest of the world, shame on the government's monopoly.

So sad that we can’t get Kokanee here in Montana anymore other than the stuff brewed in St. Louis by Bud. It’s not the same as the beer that was brewed by Columbia Brewery in Creston and not nearly as good. I was trying to find out if their Apex Altitude beer was sold in Montana but can’t find that info anywhere. We miss the Creston brewed Kokanee a lot.

Good informative tour. I showed up late in the day yet they still offered to stay and give me a tour. I was able to see most of the beer can operation although the bottling operation was already shut down for the day, that was my fault. They gave me a complimentary beer while I waited for a few more people to show up then also gave me the free beer at the end of the tour.

Fun tour. Lots of merchandise you can buy. A free beer at the end was a nice bonus. Would have given it a 5 but they had no kokanee Gold available. My husbands favorite brew. He was very disappointed.
What a lovely place to visit in Creston!
We were fortunate to have a sunny day so we could sit on the patio and enjoy a fall day. The view from the patio is lovely with rolling hills stretching south to the border and the fall colours just starting. We had a wine tasting one afternoon and came back the next day for lunch. Lunch is tapas style with several very tasty small plates. The menu was farm to table so you could experience what the surrounding farms could offer. White wines were very nice, no red wines available when we visited.
Definitely a place to return to on our next visit.

I loved the patio here and the tasting was so relaxed. The wines were delicious and the view was so beautiful. I saw some yummy looking charcuterie boards come out, I'd love to come back and try a few things on the menu another time.

Arrived on a hot Saturday right before noon and got a nice shady table on the lovely patio with great views (lots of reservations so consider making one). Really enjoyed the tastings, then a flight, and took in the views with a very nice charcuterie board. Great local selections on the board. Everything was excellent including the service. Some misting on the patio to keep things cool. Got two bottles to go. A nice summer rose (not too sweet!) and a Foch for a cooler day with some spaghetti and meatballs. For sure will go back.
Turns out Home Bar has the BEST burgers, double cheese is HUGE. BEST in Troy, and also Libby area. Lived here many years but do not eat out much as choices limited. Plan to visit Home Bar when wanting a great burger. 🍔👍

We really enjoyed ourselves at the
Home Bar. We really loved the decor, and the old time feel of this place. We sat outside and watched my grandson play on an old fashioned tree swing and played the horseshoes, as we relaxed in the shade under a walnut tree! The service was good the servers were very friendly and quick. Although they could use a lesson or 2 on making mimosas, we enjoyed our short stay. I would recommend dropping by if you are ever near downtown Troy.

My first visit to the Home Bar was about 6 years ago. I happened by there on the way back from Sturgis on my Harley pulling a trailer and my beautiful dog Bella. We pulled in there and fell in love with Bruce & Sue’s place instantly! Bellied up to both the inside and outside bars and completely felt “at home”! The drink’s,food ,slot machines,Harley stuff, bartenders were all 5 star. Bruce even invited me to camp with my rig in his beautifully enclosed backyard. I’d been on the road more than a month and this was the best place that Bella & me had camped in along time. Fast forward toJust after Sturgis 2022. Again on the return from Sturgis. This time in my big MH. With 2 Harleys and a Chevy TB in tow! One guy started calling me Choo Choo,70 feet of craziness traveling down the road! This time , my wife Annie, Bella #2 (mini German pincher) arrived and it was the EXACT same hospitality. Thank you once again Homebar. Your are numero uno!

We stopped here as we really enjoy the BC Parks sites as they are basic, but affordable ($21). Each woodland pitch is private and has the usual picnic table and firepit (wood purchased on site). It has pit loos dotted around the site, which were well stocked. It closes for the season in a few days time and there was plenty of space. There was loads of small wildlife around and we saw our first Pileated Woodpecker. The thing which amazed us was the wide array of mushrooms which were stunning. Great site and with 2 gas stations, a fab soap store and a just closed ice cream store make for a great visit a little earlier in the year too.

Phenomenal campground! The sites are large and well spaced allowing for privacy. There were outhouses, water, and bear proof garbage and recycling cans throughout. The toilets were EXCEPTIONALLY clean. I usually absolutely ABHOR vault toilets for cleanliness reasons but these were so incredibly clean, there was zero concern at all with using them. I seriously mean, they were so clean it looked like no one had used them!
The ranger was super friendly! I couldn't believe this place was only $21 a night for all that you get!! Highly recommended! There is a train that goes by, it went by once at 3 am ish and another time at about 6 am as far as I recall, but it didn't last too long.
Great campground!!

A nice clean campground- park ranger was really friendly - be prepared for a lot of bugs - I think they need to always be able to take credit cards. Typical provincial camp site with lots of trees and space between sites - there aren't any showers here and no power or water at the site but there is potable water available

We went on the August long weekend with no reservations and we will managed to get a site. Sites were clean and spacious. Trees for our hammocks. The worst part was how close the campsite is to the railroad as we could hear the train and the whistle going by very late at night.

Beautiful area but if you are trying to sleep get ear plugs. When it not the rumbling of cars or nature's sweet but loud sounds then its the train. And when you think you finally get to sleep here comes another make sure your awake train. Loud is not the word.

Yahk Provincial Park is a great campground! Online reservations are required. I've you get there, you'll have easy access to campground toilets (vaulted toilets, no sinks, bring your own toilet paper), a picnic bench, camp fire pit, and a communal water faucet with non-potable water which you can boil to drink. Easy access to the highway!

A nice campground between the Moyie River and the #3 highway . . . with the railway just beyond the road and train crossings with blaring horns throughout the night.

Absolutely our biggest surprise on our first part of a trip. We planned to stay by the lake, but there was no available spot by the time we arrived. We kept going west and took Yahk Provincial Park as our next option. Daniel was very friendly, campground super clean as I had a feeling we are at some high end golf course (yes, all raked and tidy). The best value for money we spent in last month. Thank you
Beautiful lake, bathrooms are kept super clean. In the morning they smell like bleach, that's how clean they're kept. Nice sandy beach, clean, warm water. We love it there.

Swim swim swim, Boat, SUP, swim some more, Tan, and then swim again.
This spot has a huuuge sand bar perfect for the little nuggets to run in the water and play Frisbee, there are washrooms with change stalls and a whack load of picnic tables both sheltered and non with lots of trees for shade and grass to relax sand free but a glorious soft sandy beach with a few pebbles and drift wood.
A Glorious Vista and many many campsites for RV and tent alike at the campground right next to this day use area.
This may be one of the best spots like it along the #3 Highway.
Don't forget to hit up Nai'as Coffee and IceCream stand as well and Grab some hotsauce up in Moyie townsite at Blazing Bill's Hotsaucery.

Good spot to do some picnic and enjoy with your family. It was cool to see the fish under the water.
At the day that we visit, there is a wildfire in the area and the air quality is so bad.
But even so our family enjoy the view and picnic in the area.

Moyie Lake was paradise in the mountains. This fresh water lake is easily accessible by car and has multiple parking areas.
The shore is sand with virtually no vegetation, and gradually gets deeper after 50 feet. There are smaller tide pools that are perfect for young kids and babies. The shore is also very kid friendly since it’s only a few inches deep to start and gradually declines.
The views are stunning and the train that passes by is icing on the cake. Truly a special place 🏔

This park is easy to find on Hwy 95 just north of Moyie BC and south of Cranbrook, BC. The park has a large adventure style playground and a bike park located in the middle of the campground beside the large shower/toilet building. Paved roads and paved trails give this park good accessibility access. The beach near the campground has parking and a gravel/rocky shore line. Paved boat launch with pier and parking for trucks and boat trailers. The beach is not located at the campground. There is a public promenade to the each that crosses in from of private land that we did not find inviting and there is a road to the beach that does not allow RV’s so we did not see or use the beach when we visited. Showers, drinking water, trails, and sani-dump are all provided but no services at camp sites. There are multiple shower buildings making this a good destination park for your vacation if you don’t mind the location of the beach and rocky shoreline.

Super clean. Perfect for young families as beach is shallow for about 200ft before water is higher than 2 feet. We anchor the boat just outside swim area and grab a picnic table in grass area. Washrooms are right at beach, so easy to use as day area or camp destination.

This is a very nice campground that has very nice spots, is very clean, and quiet. The vast majority of the spots have a significant amount of space between yourself and your neighbour, and are large enough to handle most RV's (We have a 32 foot bumper pull trailer and I have no issues parking). There are also several spots that have two spaces close together if you are camping with friends and family. Our boys enjoyed the beach and playground facilities as well.

Kimberley Alpine Resort is a popular recreational destination situated near the charming town of Kimberley. It boasts of fantastic downhill and cross-country skiing activities, along with equipment rentals and lessons for all ages. The resort features four different areas on the hill, each with its unique terrain and level of difficulty that cater to both beginners and advanced skiers. Notably, North America's largest gladed terrain and longest lit run are found in this mountainous location.
We moved to Kimberley specifically for the fact that it had its very own ski hill! Our children have been shredding this hill since they were only 1 year old. Our motto is "if they can stand, they can ski!". The staff at this resort are absolutely top notch. They recognize our family and are always quick to give my little girls a high five and some encouragement. The vibes are always so high even during difficult circumstances. Thanks so much for everything you do!

Snow is wonderful. Staff is fantastic. I’m giving RCR a 3 after they have lost their quad chair to a fire and can’t get organized.
They are running a cat service poorly over everbrite. ( come on guys) its a joke trying to book. -
Secondly they aren’t supply food or heated shelter on the back of the mountain or limited toilets. Get mobilized . It’s not rocket science ( we have that figured out)
Get those heaters working up top . Drag a few portable toilets so their are facilities . Children and ladies aren’t really into to using the woods and a bbq works wonders for cooking food.
I know it sucks to have a fire though step up and support your customers they support you.

Just returned to Kimberly after a ski trip in Fernie and the difference between the two locations is great. OK on the third day in Fernie we had a dump of snow and it was good powder, and amazing. Hard to beat. Nevertheless, Fernie was much better prepared on the runs. And the variety of lower runs in Blue and Green allows for a fun day. While Kimberly has the long North Star quad chair lift, and the blues and a few greens are long and converge on the bridge to the start of the lift. So a real bottleneck. And after the bridge to run down to the lift is not green.. Once up the North Star you can move over to the backside, but they are not always well groomed runs. In fact I was on Vimy Ridge and the run surveyor was having a real argument on the phone with the director about opening runs. It would also be nice if somebody took a brush cutter to the pines growing on the runs.
The RCR staff at the locations seem to come from different planets, the Fernie staff are great friendly and helpful. And the ski patrol is on the ball. You can't say that of Kimberly at all. Except being for the cafe staff they are friendly..

Nice family friendly ski hill with lots of beginner areas and runs, makes for easier learning! There are three chairs that serve four different faces of the mountain. The base is developed with accommodations and housing plus the big lodge, restaurant and service center for the resort. The main face's summit has a lodge that I only saw from the outside, it's hard to access from the main chair as it's on its own peek and needs traversing to access. From what I was able to see, not being able to do every run in just one day, I think it's a hill worth checking out at least once!
Michael Soucy — Google review
Hills were empty. Good skiing.in the morning. became slushy and icy by 2 pm. clear and sunny skies, no wind.
M Steve Gabinet — Google review
Kimberely exceeded expectations for me. The snow was great. There are almost no lines and the hill has more to offer in terms of both beginner friendly runs and more advanced stuff.
Lots of fresh powder in the trees when we visited. The platza is close by which has a couple of good restaurants pub and diner. Most other ski hills don’t offer nearly as much near the hill as Kimberly does.
I went out for a trip with my business partner but I will be back with my family in the future. It would be a great resort to bring them to.
Only cons. Passes aren’t cheap but they’re still cheaper than other major ski hills.
If you’re on a snowboard you can find yourself taking your binding off and pushing. Not a huge deal but a bit of work at times. A lot more friendly to skiers but we snowboarded and made out fine.

Great ski hill for beginner to intermediate skiers.
If you’re looking for something a bit more interesting try going to the far north side and jumping in beyond the patrol lines. We found some fun fresh snow in there !

Staff is very nice and friendly but lunch prices for the quality are ridiculous and the one chair lift from the bottom that breaks down all the time isn't acceptable anymore for the price. The kids area is ok for free but to have to pay for the T-bar for my 6yr old to use for 30 mins isn't much of an incentive to go. Fernie has one for free to get kids into the sport.

I've skied here my whole life, I love this family friendly hill. Its a hidden gem with great snow, friendly staff and short lines.
This was my 1st time taking my 6yr old daughter here.
Sophie (or Sophia maybe?) was working the top of the magic carpet ride and was such a ray of sunshine! Wearing an elf hat, smiling, singing and chatting with everyone. She even encouraged my daughter when attempting the pilons. When she went on lunch break my daughter even asked when she'd be back.
She really made the day special for us, and deserves recognition.
The Kimberley's Underground Mining Railway is a popular tourist destination that offers visitors an immersive experience into the history of mining in the area. A train ride takes you through a small underground area where retired miners demonstrate equipment used at the Sullivan mine over nearly a century. The temperature inside is much cooler than outside, making it perfect for hot summer months, but visitors are advised to bring warm clothing if they get cold easily.
An absolute must see attraction if your near or In the area of Kimberley B.C i have over 50 photos but chose to show only a few, an experience you need to see for sure!

Great visit at the mine. We did the two hours tour. Starting up the hill to the mine. Having the chance to meet Bill Robert, min worker for over 50 years. He give us a couples demonstration of mining tools.
You can feel the emotions behind all the story and memories that he share with the group.
The powerhouse was fantastic with a other live demonstration of technology behind the mining scene.

Ok, this is kind of hard to review, but I’ll add my 3 cents.
1. Everyone was friendly!
2. Bill, our mine boss was fantastic, super authentic, knowledgeable and very friendly
3. Train ride was fun, operators we super nice
Now, my 3 cents:
Not worth the over $120 we paid for our family.
Sad that you don’t enter any real part of the mine (understandably, but still 😞)
Some may love the history and experience, but once was enough for me.
Overall, it’s hard to not come away appreciating the history, Bill’s stories & humor.
If you go, keep your expectations low, enjoy the time, and you’ll have fun.

We took the train ride and headed out to the underground mines. Bill was an ex-miner who greeted us there and shared his extensive experience / knowledge with our group. We learned so much more about mining, understanding the risks that they faced back in the day. It was definitely an informative and eye opening experience, allowing us to learn more about Kimberly's mining history.

One of the best two hours you can spend in Kimberly. From the moment we were buying the tickets, the reception lady was the most adorable welcoming person ever. She told us a brief history of the mining in Kimberly.
The tour was so exciting. The tour guide was a former miner and such a friendly gentleman. Absolutely recommended.
Tip for the tour: dress properly. You are going to the mine, get out of the train and tour around. The weather in the mine is freezing. Have a jacket with you. Even is hot summer! The floor is wet (like come on, you go to a mine. What do you expect?). Don’t go there with flip flops. Your toes will get muddy and wet.

Went to kimberley to check out the underground mine tour. Was pretty awesome, and was led by a former miner that actually worked there until the mine closed in 2001. He showed how some of the machinery and drills worked as well as explaining how the ore would spontaneously combust and turn into "hot muck". Also explained rescue procedures and how the breathing apparatuses worked. As well as the all important restoration procedures and water purifying operations that are still ongoing today. Totally worth the cost of admission!

We brought our young children to the KUMR to enjoy something that you don't get a chance to experience elsewhere. They loved the train ride, enjoyed the beautiful scenery and enjoyed seeing some wildlife along the way. They were a little scared at first of the tunnel as it is very dark in spots, but this is part of the experience. The interpretive part of the train ride was lost on them, but it is very educational and gives a glimpse not only into the local area and this particular mine, but also the life the miners lived. We'll definitely return once our children are a bit older.
Marc D. — Google review
This is a train ride and an interpretation center that takes you in a small underground area to show how mining was carried out over the nearly 100 years at the Sullivan mine in Kimberley BC. Actual miners (retired) not only show, but demonstrate some of the equipment used. Inside is much cooler than outside (which is great in the hot summer months) but if you get chilled easily, bring a jacket or sweater. After the mine, the train takes you to the powerhouse where you can see the air compressors, generators and the actual model used in the planning office. Well worth the trip, the tour takes almost 2 hours to complete so plan accordingly.

The Cranbrook History Centre is a must-visit destination for those interested in Canadian Pacific railway history and local heritage. The museum houses exhibits and archives that showcase the region's rich history, along with a gift shop. The highlight of the museum is the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel, featuring several iconic trains from Canada's past, including the Trans-Canada Limited from 1929.
We had my mother's Celebration of life in the Royal Alexandra Hall. The staff were extremely caring and accommodating of our family and friends. Valerie is the event coordinator who knows EXACTLY what you're looking for even if you didn't know you were looking. Travis was our onsite contact who went above and beyond making sure the room was set up and ready. They had absolutely everything we needed. It's very reasonably priced compared to other halls in Cranbrook that can accommodate 200+ guests. Being able to bring in our own catering was the perfect way to ensure we could shop locally and support other businesses in the area at an affordable price. It's a beautiful venue with a very interesting history. I urge everyone to at least go and take a look at their railway museum. You can truly tell that everyone who works there is not only helping preserve our history but also helping make yours too.

If you or your kids love trains or are interested in the history of trains in Canada this is the place for you! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We did all three train tours and I can't say enough good things about them. The restored train cars were so interesting but the best part is the tour guides! The guide was so informative and could answer all the questions my 7 yr old son who loves trains could think of. I really enjoyed the history as well as learning about the process of restoration. The gift shop could be better but it was still pretty good. They have a huge model train set that my son loved, I think we spent at least 30-40 minutes there. The museum is in a very interesting building with some nice displays. We had a fantastic time and I recommend all the tours!

Amazing! We learned so much in only 45 minutes. There are a few different tours to choose from, ranging from 20min to 1h45m, so make sure you have time for a tour, because it is definitely worth it, and it is the only way to see the trains.

We went to Cranbrook as it was on the pre arrnaged tour of Canada we had booked. We had hoped t visit backwater Canada and this is the place to do this. It was great to find the railway museum thought. It's a historical museum dedicated to preserving the railway heritage of the region. The museum features various exhibits, artifacts, and equipment related to the history of railways in the area, including locomotives, passenger cars, and railway memorabilia.
Cranbrook Railway Museum provides visitors with insights into the significant role that railways played in the development and growth of Cranbrook and the surrounding areas. It offers educational programs and events for visitors of all ages to learn about the rich history of rail transportation in British Columbia.
If you're interested in railway history or visiting museums, the Cranbrook Railway Museum can be a fascinating destination to explore. It offers a glimpse into the past and showcases the technological advancements and cultural impact of railways on the region.

Six adults and four children (under 8) took the short 20 minute train tour. Our guide was very interesting and knowledgeable, he was able to keep the kids interest even though the tour was designed for adults. The trains are in the process of being restored but you can still see the designs and imagine what it was like to ride trains 100 years ago.
The museum itself was small but fascinating. The little ones loved the model train, spending 20 minutes starting and watching the trains circle. I liked the quilt with its escaped elephant story, as well as the medical cabinet with its old equipment.

Great place that has come such a long way in the thirty+ years I've watched it grow. It's a gem that shines the history not only of the railway itself but the whole reason Crambrook exists as a city (and it rich history) as opposed to why the population explosion did not happen at Fort Steele.
Numerous displays both older and newer are here. The major attraction is not only the ball room but the train cars themselves. Guided tours can take you through the train cars for a more intimate experience. Easily spending 3 hours here if you want to delve into the historic information.
Placid rooms in restored mission offering mountain views & free WiFi, plus a golf & casino complex.

I went there for dinner, I figured I would have 1 drink. There's no server on the floor asking if you'd like a drink so unfortunately you have to go get it at the bar. The supervisor did not even acknowledge me for 7 minutes, and she took an order before me which wasnt a problem. She then went to get the man a beer somewhere out of the bar area... after a few minutes she returned and proceeded to put ALL the beer she brought back into the cooler instead of serving the customer his beer and possibly me and then putting them away afterwards. She had told me she would get to me and never did. I then had another pleasant server ask me if I had been taken care of, I think her name was Jasmine. This girl was running around everywhere trying to help a whole lot of customers. I don't know why but I heard the supervisor Linda (i asked her name) yelling at the server. How unprofessional! It made for a very uncomfortable experience. I think they should get a supervisor in there who knows what she's doing. It's obviously too much for Linda. I felt do bad for the young lady Jasmine.

I went there for the first time, (it was my first time gambling) and they were so nice, they talked to me about the cell phone policies (no phones allowed) instead of kicking me out, haha. But the casino was nice! The slot machines were a terrible design though.

They got rid of all the older games. No one ever seems to be yelling jackpot!

I read some of the other reviews and wanted to add my two cents. First off I want to say if you are looking for the MGM Grand or Caesars Palace you won't find it here. I suggest you recalibrate your GPS and turn around. On the other hand, if you are looking for a quaint little casino with a friendly professional staff, charm, and ambiance, then you are at the right place. I highly recommend this place to those who want a change of pace from the big business casinos. Try it,you won't be disappointed!

Zero stars. The security guys at this place are real hero’s. My wife went to the security desk to pick up a package. No sooner had she opened the door and stepped inside with our little girl when two grown men ran towards her yelling and screaming for her to get out as there are no children allowed inside. Very unprofessional and drastically over reactive to the situation. You have a foyer for a reason, it’s a checkpoint before entering the Casino area. If that’s how you react to people entering then move your desk outside.

Went to the casino for some dinner at Mum's and had a great time. The place is obviously full of people but all seem to know was beautiful dinner was coming to them. Our server Aleitha (sorry if spelled wrong) was lovely and made plenty of visiting recommendations. I recommend the calamari appetizer and the maple glazed chicken. Bon appétit!!!
Came back the next day and the striploin and wings. I had a great meal again. Great place to indulge. Big shout-out to the chef Aaron Day

The service and the staff were wonderful. We will be back. The food at the restaurant was good, but it could be improved.
What a blast! Came to the wilderness club with my girlfriends for a golf weekend. Golfing all 50 states and have 4 to go till completed. I never like to go to the same place twice, however can not wait to come back here with my family. The hiking is exceptional, golfing was nothing but smiles and the lodge was perfect. The Staff was so attentive to every detail. The lake has the biggest inflatable city I have ever scene, its a kids dream come true.
Well Done Wilderness Club!

We just golfed, the staff was super nice, easy to deal with, I was expecting "snobby" people, they were so nice. Great service.
The course was immaculate, even considering it was October! This will be a go to for sure on our annual trip! Well done!
I can't even imagine how the course would be in prime season if that's how it is so late in the season!

Phenomenal food and service at the clubhouse restaurant. My partner and I dipped into the nearest restaurant - only to find the food was *so* much more delicious than what we could imagine. We even went back on Friday night for prime rib night and were thrilled with the food and service! Extra points for an incredible Bananas Foster! Such an intimate and warm experience - would be great for date night - and loved the beautiful winter vibes. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a night by the fire with your loved ones at this amazing restaurant!

Our family had a great summer vacation visiting Wilderness Club.
We stayed in a Wilderness Suite and the accommodations were very nice and very convenient to the clubhouse for dining, the pro shop, the practice area and the first tee.
Our son enjoyed the pool and the water slide is the real deal.
We had dinner three nights at the grille and the food and service were very good each time. Nice beer list, too.
And it should be noted that all Club employee we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
The course was in fantastic shape and is a very enjoyable layout. (The par 4 ninth and the second shot on the par 5 12th are a little wonky but otherwise great).
Highly recommend for a family vacation or a guys' golf getaway.

We ate lunch at Wilderness Cafe today and met chef Cheryl who is amazing. She makes a fried green bean appetizer that is fantastic. The beans were crispy with a nice sauce... way better than French fries.
Cheryl also made a fantastic smokey, sweet bbq sauce for chicken wings.
We made reservations for dinner on Sunday, and I can't wait.

Loved it so much the first time, we ended up coming back and then buying a piece of property here. There's nothing like it-- The Wilderness Club is serene, so much sky, mountains, trees, nature everywhere you look. The resort itself is wonderful-- very nice staff, good and well priced food, comfortable accommodations. They have great activities for families-- corn hole, sports, movie nights. Absolutely worth the flight and drive to get there!

I organized a group of 12 guys to come up and rent a Villa and play 3 rounds at Wilderness Club. The Villa was good and met our needs perfectly and the golf course was in superb condition as always and everyone enjoyed the course. The problem we had was with service and management.
When I spoke to the woman when I booked the Villa she mentioned that they did not offer a stay and play rate but we would get a twilight rate for the afternoon round the first day and a replay rate for the second round the following day. WRONG! The twilight doesn't start until 4:00 PM so we end up paying $149.00 (full price) a piece for a 2:30 PM tee time. Add to this a 20 minute wait to get anyone to get us a $30 six pack of warm beer at the bar in the clubhouse was kind of a bad first impression.
The next day we pay $125.00 for an 8:30 AM tee time and were informed that we could not get the replay rate for the afternoon because we prebooked the tee time. What kind of ridiculous policy is that? We found someone who was in charge of the accommodation and I will give her credit for stepping up and making things right and getting the course to only charge us for the replay rate for the afternoon but only after reminding her that we have already spent thousands of dollars for the Villa, golf, beer, and would probably had spent more if the restaurant was open. After paying for the second round that day we were reminded by guy in the pro shop that in the future they would not honor the rate as it has to booked the day of play. Well don't worry man we won't be back.
I should have expected this Mickey Mouse run around from a Troon Golf managed course but we hardly saw anybody else on the course on a Saturday and Sunday and if they're going to push themselves as a destination resort in the middle of nowhere then the service has got to be a million times better.

Had a great day at Wilderness Club on Sept 2. Weather was hot and dry. The greens were beautiful and fast, save for hole 16 which was a little slower. Views were spectacular, even with forest fires in the area. Couldn't have asked for a better day. Will definitely be back!

The golf here was amazing! Great pool with a fun fast slide. A nice lake to play in with paddle boards and mats. It is remote and only has the one restaurant and pool shack. Came for the golfing and would come back.

This was a beautiful property but was not a “resort” at all. Our biggest issue was that we did not feel safe while staying here. There was absolutely no parking lot or building lights and the room we stayed in was in a hostel style set up with no locks on the main buildings doors (deadbolt had been removed from front and patio doors) and our room lock was nothing more than a interior door lock that wouldn’t be much of a deterrent for anyone. On top of that our dinning experience was awful. We stayed here just so that we could have everything we needed in one place and still found ourselves driving around looking for places to eat because the restaurant would randomly close early at 6 pm.

Almost perfect. Great golf course, very scenic. Amenities are good. But had spotty dining service (food was generally very good), and room was very expensive for what you get. Zero view, no table to eat or use a laptop at, no microwave, and ac vent is only in the bathroom, freezing your feet on the tile floor.
Brian King — Google review
This place was amazing! The property is beautiful and the staff was incredible! We even had a private outdoor movie! The golf was fantastic and the course was in amazing shape. They send people off every 12 minutes so you never feel rushed. The rooms were insane and cozy. Amazing. I would recommend an entire week vacation here, maybe even more.
Loved this place! It was a 4 hour drive from Calgary but it was well worth the trip. It's a completely restored heritage town and you can even go in the buildings as they have furnished them accurately as well. There's also a furnished hotel in the park but we didn't get the chance to see it as the park was closing for the day. We will go here again soon!

Beautiful little spot to stop with your little ones or anyone super keen on the old wild west. Amazing learning opportunity for people to learn a lot of history about kootneys, and it's gold mining days.
The folks are amazingly sweet, and even when it's not in full blown season(summer), there's still so much to see and enjoy.
There's horses, and a whole lot of other wildlife around to see as well while walking the paths. Their gift shop is quite cute and has many little trinkets and gifts to bring home. I cannot wait to come back and explore a bit more during the summer, and I hope you all continue making this piece of history officially outstanding and just overall enthralling to enjoy and see.
If you really like museums and walking, this is literally a perfect place to be.

It's a great place for all ages. Wear decent shoes to walk in as, if you visit the whole site, it'll take you around 2-3 hrs. There was only a little café at the entrance when we went but it looked like another larger cafe was going to open up later in the month (we went in early June). Loads to see and do. Only 4 stars because we felt that the guide book needs a map of the exhibits, which in turn need to be numbered so you know where and what you're looking at. Great taco's as well! Thanks to the staff for a lovely day.

This place lies on the east shore of the East Kootenay River Between the Mouth the St. Mary River and Wild Horse 🐎 River.
I had a lot of fun and insights about how things were from as far as 100 years ago.
Firstly, the horse ride in the wagon was awesome 😎, I saw in the the museum old clothes made my tailors and some tools ⚒️ 🧰 for technical and vocational use.
Secondly, The bakery which is also know as “City Bakery-Confectionery was built in 1922 it’s Proprietor called Mrs. Underhill I learnt was still in operation, and she bakes one of the best pastries 🥮,I had a bite when I bought a blueberry 🫐 muffin and a cookie 🍪 at the cafeteria.it was really good,if you want to learn how to bake I’m told she trains people who are interested in baking, for more enquiries on that call the number on their website or ask from the building.
Furthermore, The Perry Creek Water wheel 🛞 was amazingly beautiful 🤩 to see, the wheel was very huge, right after that I walked past the gold mine, I saw the equipment used to wash the gold.
One of the things that fascinated me was the fact that they used to sell candies in the drug store 🏬,I couldn’t believe my eyes but there it was sitting right there in the bottles, I walked the hall downstairs where shows used to be held , right ahead of me I saw a little garden 🪴 with a poultry farm, fowls looked really healthy, there were spring onions 🧅 were really big , I immediately thought of making a salad just at the sight it.
Lastly I saw those old Churches ⛪️ one was an Anglican Church, it was really cute , I think the green and cream was a good combination.
I love how I got to know and see for myself how things were in operation from from centuries ago.
First time here. Great service from Heather. I had the brisket sandwich with sweet potato fries, and it was really good. They smoke the brisket in-house. They have a nice outdoor space and host a variety of fun things in the summer, including live music. I'll definitely be back.

What a comfortable and relaxing place. I had an issue with the steak I ordered but when I brought it to their attention, they were quick to make it right. The food was plentiful and delicious! Our dining party had the salmon and they said it was delicious and cooked perfectly. The owner even delivered a piece of cake to sing Happy Birthday to my 92 year old Mother. Their service was attentive, but not overbearing. They have an outside patio that is really cool for when they have live music. I am hoping to visit again and Trapper's Saloon will definitely be on my list to enjoy an evening.

Was an unfortunate night for us as they had bad service and food quality. We were told two people quit, had one cook, and 2 servers, but overheard waitresses talking about how it was just a busy Sunday. The steaks were very disappointing but maybe I'm spoiled being from nevraska... but whenever ordering a sirloin there is zero excuse to EVER have gristle strong enough u can't chee through. They were lower quality meals and out of stock on numerous items. Gravy, walleye, brisket, no soup of the day. Seems like a management issue as these items being out of stock have nothing to do with low staff.
That being said, the waitress we had very only on her 5th day working, was very polite, and very apologetic. They were truly slammed busy for the help they had on staff, but I saw Noone who seemed like an owner or manager stepping up to the plate to make the evening special for guests. The atmosphere was great and with more staffing we would be willing to try it again... but only for brisket or walleye. Steaks were just not quality.

Trapper's is one of our family's favorite places to eat. We drive more than 60 miles one way to dine here. Great menu, great food, fully stocked bar and great place to watch sports. The owner made it right by taking it off our bill, but the cook refused to sear our $15 steak appetizer, which was undercooked for our taste. Everything else we had exceeded our expectations. But because of this pretentious, loud-mouth cook who argued with our server "that's the way it comes," I will not give it a five star rating. The customer's request should be honored...

Cool looking restaurant and bar with delicious steak options, soup, salad sandwiches, etc. Everything was tasty and the staff were friendly. I ate at the bar in early March, but it looks like in warmer weather there are horseshoe pits and outdoor seating and and live music outside. Looks like a good time.

The water was crystal clear and warm. By mid day, the crowd start coming. We sat under a huge tree but I suggest bring some sort of shed. It was 30 degree Celsius! This park is located in the town of Wasa, BC on Hwy 95. The campground is large, level, shaded but not on the lake. A short walk across a local road to the day use and beach reveals a sandy beach, with grassy, shady picnic area, paved boat launch and play ground. Plenty of room to park the motorhome at the beach for a swim before setting up camp. Dog beach area was very nice with grass, tables, and good swimming area for people and dogs both. Multiple day use areas, sani-dump down the road from the campground. 2 bars on our cell phone was a nice bonus, Campground was shaded by a pine forest and there was nice spacing between sites providing some privacy. Solar powered hot showers at park entrance. Flush toilets in campground area. Good place for a vacation with kids.
This place is excellent. Every time we have showed up the interpretive center has been closed but the trout pond out front has kept the kids engaged for the better part of an hour. Be sure to bring quarters for the fish feed vending machine.
There is a trout pond in the back stocked with Rainbows where an overly friendly man will mansplain how to cast a spinning rod. It's for kids but if it isn't busy you can practice casting a fly rod with the chance of actually getting bites.

Building was closed even though hours on the door stated it would be open staff told us we read the wrong website even though i read the BC site. Staff was not kind if it is a self guided tour why can't the build be opened if staff are present. Drove an hour from sparwood to see this and was very disappointed that the web site hours does not align with actual hours.

What a beautiful place to stop and enjoy the lake, trees and turtles. Rent a paddle boat or kayak and enjoy the lake.
There's also a playground for the littles to enjoy.

Family oriented campground with access to lake and beach. Lots of mature trees for shade but few shrubs, so privacy is somewhat lacking. Well maintained roadways and pads in variety of sizes, suitable for small vehicles and tents as well as larger trailers. Despite the bustle of activity during the day (including kids racing around on bikes and parents pushing baby strollers) it quiets down nicely at night for a peaceful sleep. A certain amount of sites are reservable with a some first come first serve available. Wheelchair accessible pit toilets, but no sink. Running water available from pipes near garbage and recycling bins. Overall a good place if you're looking for more of a family/friend outdoor experience, but don't expect anything close to remote wilderness. Dogs are fine at campground (on leash) but are not allowed on beach.

Been coming here since 84 with my family and i still come. Brings many great memories. The only downfalls is its become very hard for locals to get a spot here. It would be nice to see them do a first come basis on half the campground. The new notification if a campsite becomes available is a great tool for now.
Not sure if they still do sandcastle competitions or if they have anything at the amphitheater but that was always a favorite as a kid in the 80s.

More than just the lakes! Perhaps most people visit this park either to lounge on the beach and in the water of Surveyors Lake or to boat in Koocanusa Lake but it's much more than that. The park has three general use campgrounds, one group site and a day use area, all connected by a series of trails suitable for walking and cycling. The trails lead through grassland and open forest (see the signs about the forest and grassland restoration program) all rich in plants, flowers, birds (including eagles) and other wildlife. The geology is fascinating with moraines, kettle holes and river bed deposits and there is cultural evidence of past railways (see if you can find the lingering marks of the railway ties in places under the current trail bed). All this in a warm, dry climate.

This park is located in south eastern BC, Canada several miles off Hwy 93. The roads to the park are two lane paved roads and the turns to the park are well marked making it a nice easy drive and easy to find. The park is in hot, dry country in summer and while there are trees there is little or no shade at the Ponderosa Campground we camped in. We were glad we booked an electric site as we needed the air conditioner here. Unserviced sites have lake view, are larger, and have good space between. Electric sites are small with no space between. The lake is very pretty but the lake shore at Ponderosa campground is tall grass and a muddy shore. Good for dogs, tubes, and boating but not great for swimming. Big park with multiple campgrounds, sani-dump, cabins, group areas, and fishing. There was no privacy at the Ponderosa campground and the electric sites are very close together. Hot water showers and flush toilets available and easily accessible in this small campground. The playground and boat launch are not close to this campground. Good paved roads and level sites.

This is a beautiful provincial park. We were lucky to get a tent space. Unfortunately you have to put your tent on the gravel, which hurts. The picnic tables are beautiful and the beach is not far. The washrooms are super clean and fancy. There are limited showers for the surrey campground. Plan accordingly!

Stayed at the Kalispell Trail campground which is in Kikomun Provincial park. No reservation is necessary and your right beside Lake Kooconusa. It has outhouses but showers are free at the nearby South Pool group site that you can walk to or the Poderosa group site which is a short drive down the road. There is a boat launch at this campground and power boats are permitted on the lake. For the angler there is plenty of Kokanee salmon to catch. The lake is very large and goes all the way into the United States. There are lots of trails to ride your bike or hike. For a great treat visit the nearby Baynes Lake general store for an icecream cone. The scoops are large and a single scoop waffle cone is only $3.

So beautiful! We went there for a day of fishing and I got to watch them stock the lake with 26,000 trout! They said they were putting in 50,000 this season. Beautiful place, clean, clear water, eagles swooping overhead, fish jumping, perfect place for a day away and out in nature!

Beautiful Lake. An okay campground. If you are camping in RV, make sure you fill your fresh water tank to you needs. Cause it's just the water well with a hand pump on-site.
Gravel road which lead to the park is a disaster. Wasn't able to move more than 5 km an hour as it was so bumpy due to the bulldozer tracks, which dried out and created a very bumpy road.

Lots of sites to camp and they have overflow as well. Few mins walk to the lake where you can launch your boat, kayak or canoe. Scenic view of the lake with mountains behind. Toilets are bigger and cleaner than most campgrounds. 2-3 hand-pumps available in the campground but they recommend to boil the water. Easy 3.5km hike to Quartz Lake/ Rockbluff Lake from the campground. You can see beautiful azure water surrounded by mountains from the top.The hosts were very nice and friendly people. The female operator was a bit iffy, made us feel like we didn’t belong there, from the minute we stepped in. Been here twice now, so we just did our thing.Good experience overall!

One of the nicest spots in the east Kootenays. Beautiful fishing lake. Great swimming and dock area. The lack of dog friendly beach area is not the best but the campsites are usually pristine. The creek that runs thru the site is great for keeping the kids cool and busy but can get quite mosquito ridden in the summer. The kids part is stellar.
Jason Scannell — Google review
A perfectly pleasant provincial park! There's a mixture of sites, with some suited to RVs and others more suitable for tents. The campsites on the north side, closer to the lake, are rather tightly packed and the area more forested, while the ones on the south side are less tight, but with less forest cover. There's a quaint creek flowing between several of the northern sites, with a trail leading to the lake. The Park's lakefront has a boat launch and dock beside the beach; there's also a short shore trail leading to a trout hatchery. The summer water is still very cool, but thoroughly swimable. The campground is also equipped with an excellent playground for kids. Nearby, there's a closet for BYO solar water shower bags. Campsites were $25/night and firewood was $10/bundle. In August-September 2019 there was a bear in the area, and skunks are known to inhabit the area. Lots of chipmunks, squirrels, and chickadees. There's a couple nearby trails to small lakes, the main branch (Turtle, Canuck, and Yankee Lakes) can be done as a loop in 2 to 3 hours.

The park entrance is 15km about 6 miles up in the hills above Hwy 95 in South Eastern BC near Skookumchuck, BC Canada. The road to the park started off as paved, two lane good quality road but about half way up it turned into broken pavement, gravel, and dirt. The campground is located on the hillside above the lake. There is a small parking area near the beach and picnic area but no room for motorhomes or RV’s. There is parking for truck and boat trailer at the boat launch and a nice long dock enclosing the swimming area on this beautiful lake. The boat launch is paved and in good repair. Stair cases to the beach making it not fully accessible or wheel chair accessible. Nice playground in campground and nice trails with bridges crossing a small creek. All sites are unserviced and mostly level. Some sites offer privacy and shade but others are very close together with no privacy or shade. Water pump with untreated water that is not safe for drinking unless boiled. No showers, no drinking water, no sani-dump. I do not advise an extended stay as it is a long drive to get water and empty tanks.

Stunning views at every turn, terrain for every skier and boarder of any skill. Lift lines never get crazy, large varied runs allow for great dispersion even on a busy weekend. Plenty of great food and drink options on mountain and in the village. Signage is great and easy to find everything here. Would highly recommend a visit here and will definitely be back when in the area.

Loved Tha amazing powder snow I had never experienced before. Took part of a one day lesson and my instructor Dan was super! I truly enjoyed and will come back. Suitable skiing for every level.

Amazing diversity of ski terrain over five bowls. You can ski here all day and not ski the same piste twice. The people who come here to ski are cool and down-to-earth— not like many of the pretentiously pompous skiers you see at many "Epic" resorts. Fernie might very well be my new favourite ski place to ski!!
Adam Rogers — Google review
My family and I went skiing and snowboarding here in the middle of January....the whole family had lots of fun. Lots of powder higher up in the bowls...lots of great runs to choose from. Lots of black and double black runs.
Daniel Legal — Google review
Awesome place for a ski holiday, plenty of runs .good parking, and restaurants. There is plenty of accommodation close to the pistes if you wish to stay close to the action or in the town of Fernie. Otherwise it's a long drive to other towns to stay over. You can also drive to resorts in the US such as White Fish.

This is a lovely mountain - as you can see, there is a 360 mountain range around the ski hill and you really feel like you're on top of the world. At the top, you can see the condensation accumulating just above the mountain peaks, as well as bright areas illuminated by breaks in the clouds, truly a breathtaking experience.
But just a few heads up for the snowboarders, if you decide to go up the Bear chair (which you can only access via Elk), be sure that you're comfortable with narrow paths and precipitous edges - don't let the fact that it's considered a green run throw you off!! It took me a long time to go down this path and I would have had a better day had I left Bear for the end of the day or after I've gotten more runs in. The height alone is very intimidating for a certain people, even the skiers that I went with.
It's not surprising that the majority of the people I saw here were skiers, there are many narrow flat spots that skiers would have no problem with but that snowboarders would either have to have enough momentum to keep going or would have to walk.
Snowboarding newcomers should stick to deer or elk chair to get the most out of their stay.
FUN FACT: the wooden cabin pictured below (that you can see on the right hand side as you're going up the Elk chair) is the location for Hot tub Time machine 1 & 2!

I grew up in Fernie and watched this family owned ski business grow into a world class resort.
Regardless of your ability, you will have many parts of the mountain to explore. The hill has been built over three natural mountain bowls which provides stunning views from the top.
The runs that have been carved into the sides of these bowls provide steep and aggressive terrain for expert level skiers and boarders who want to shred the hill.
The centers of the bowls provide gentle slopes for those who come for a relaxing day enjoying moderate terrain with lots of tree runs.
Fernie is famous for its powder. Due to its location, the snow is dry and light and after a good dump will give you a powder day that you will never forget.
The resort is located low in the mountain so the lower runs are subject to warmer weather. It’s not uncommon to have melting snow and ice at the bottom with great conditions at the top.
There are hundreds of rental opportunities right on the hill including many ski-out lodges. There are re also large home that sleep multiple families available for rent.
The town of Fernie does not have many restaurants or places to enjoy night life for a resort of this size. This is the biggest negative to choosing this location over other options like Whitefish.

Fernie has something for everyone - from beginner-friendly vibes all the way to shred dawg steeps - the whole family will love it here. The prices are super reasonable considering the accessible terrain and if you can’t find a skiff of powder where you’re shredding, there’s always a few turns to be had with a little boot pack hike.

First time snowboarding at Fernie.
Our group of 7 had a great experience.
Beautiful place😍
The only thing didn't like, is that if you want to ride in the terrain park, you had to pay extra $5 or so for it, on top of your lift tickets . I think that was pretty outrageous.
Anastasiya 96 — Google review
Amazing ski-area with a huge choice of slopes and runs. We really loved to ski the 5 different bowls and had the impression, that a day is by far not enough to explore all possibilities.
Frank Waechter — Google review
Misleading conditions report!
Skied there last week (1/31/24 and 2/1/24). Online they said 134 runs were open. In reality the vast majority of trails were closed either due to lack of snow (there was a big rain event and warm cycle) or avalanche risk. Id guess that 50-75% of the runs were not open. Many major bowls were pretty much completely closed due to avy risk.
I wouldn't ding them for the conditions, you get unlucky with the weather, but they should try to accurately reflect the experience guests are likely to find on your website and conditions report. I was skiing on a pass, but if I'd purchased a day lift ticket I would have probably asked for my money back given the misleading conditions report.
Giving 2 stars as this seems like it'd be a good mountain if the snow was significantly better and they do a better job at reflecting current conditions.

Great ski vacation here! Perfect for all of our varied levels including beginner. Blue bird days for all except day 1. Definitely would come back!

A beautiful resort with all kind of slopes from
Green to double black. Artificial snow could be more because we didn’t had much snow yet this season and down below the slopes were sometimes marginal.
Horst Daniels — Google review
Fernie is known for huge snow accumulation. Visited in February 2024, the snow was not great anywhere really that winter however we did get 2 x 20cm dumps while there.
It's a very challenging mountain made up of 5 bowls and I would say if you have skiid other Rocky Mountain Resorts and you normally ski black runs, you will find yourself on blue runs st Fernie..and loving it.
If you enjoy steeps, this place has it, including the Polar Peak bowl which is made up entirely of double and triple blacks.
It's a good 3 hrs from Calgary Airport so a bit more remote.
The apres ski on the resort is not really hoping like some other areas we found but this mountain will have you tucked in bed early anyway lol.

5339 Fernie Ski Hill Rd, Fernie, BC V0B 1M6, Canada
Established in 1959, this 259-hectare wooded park offers camping, hiking, fishing & cycling.
I recently visited a beautiful BC provincial park for a hiking trip. The lush greenery surrounding me was a sight to behold and it instantly made me feel more relaxed as I began my walk. The trail was peaceful, allowing me to take in the natural beauty of the surrounding area. The highlight of my hike was discovering a small river that was simply stunning. The refreshing water flowed gracefully through the rocks and trees, and I couldn't resist taking a moment to sit down and appreciate it all. Overall, it was a fantastic day filled with awe-inspiring views and a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Beautiful park, very well maintained by park operators. Bathrooms are always clean. The park is quiet and peaceful, beautifully treed sites and they have great trails to bike and hike.

Awesome location and great amenities. Mountain biking is literally on your doorstep. The only reason why I didn't give it a fifth star is that the campground, layout and numbering is really confusing and not in a really clear layout. I would stay again here in a minute.

Nice place to stay a few days. Shady, very well maintained, clean and good campsite size. Missing a playground for kids though. Biking and hiking are the main things to do here.

Such a beautiful spot to camp. We had a spot right by the creek. You could hear it the whole time in your site. At night the stars were out in full force. It was so beautiful. There are hiking trails right from the campsite and the campsite is only minutes from town. It's so peaceful and quiet. A great way to get away from it all.

This park is very close to the main road and easy to find. The road to the park include 1.2 km of gravel road but it is well maintained. Available campsites are listed on the park bulletin board and there are signs on each site clearly indicating which sites are available on FCFS basis. The sites offer no services but are large, fairly level and fairly private. There is a large, new, clean, central shower house with flush toilets plus pit toilets around the park. The showers are free and have hot water. The campground is on a hillside and the roads have old, pitted pavement. The interpretive trail along a creek was well maintained with good signs that are informative and looked like new. This park has hiking and mountain bike trails with maps at the trail heads that include difficulty level.

Large sites, great in park trails and bike paths, no campsite registration booth, just show up and camp, and a ranger will find you. Bathrooms have free showers.

The very definition of gorgeous. Beautiful park with tons of trails and just amazing little mountain streams and downtown Fernie isn’t far from here and a must see as well
The Den of Tools — Google review
Excellent provincial park. Good showers here that were very clean when we visited. There are numerous potable water taps throughout the park and a dish sink at the showers and bathrooms. The outhouses have been recently redone, so recent when we visited that they still smelled strongly of fresh ceder wood. The campsites are spread out reasonable far and well wooded. We stayed during the pandemic when only BC residents were supposed to be allowed, though 90% of the campers were from Alberta, but the park was so spacious there wasn't any worry about being too close to any other parties.

Amazing and beautiful, quiet place to have a walk and enjoy nature. . . .
Amazing views in this beautiful park. The roads are well maintained, but there are some serious potholes in the more remote areas. Space at the cabin is limited and is on a first come, first served basis. If you plan on spending the night in the cabin, be sure to check and fill in the sign in sheet at the car park first.

Magestic place. Easy 13km (return) walk to Fish Lake/cabin/camp sites. Gorgeous lake with breathtaking mountains all around.
We hiked the Wild horse Ridge (20km return) and it was quite a bit of a grind from the lake to the top, but the view was worth the effort.
Julio Hernandez — Google review
Very good beginners backcountry experience. The hike is easy, shirt (6k) and full of interesting things - vegetation, bridges, trees, etc. Th campground is well cared for, nice lakeside sites and a lovely cabin. All first come first served basis. We were there mid week and the cabin was taken but lots of sites available. Make sure to bring fire starters and a stove in case you can't make fire. We couldn't get the fire going as the wood was wet. The only downside is 1 he 50km ride up the mountain that seemed neverending.
Olga Courtnage — Google review
We never made it to the top with our kids aged 3 through 8. The drive was 1.5hrs from the highway because of the poor road conditions. So give yourself lots of time to get there. We were glad we never got a flat tire from the potholes. Wouldn't recommend cars or vans to take it. Our SUV handled it but was super rough! Made it halfway through the hike and had to turn back because we didn't pack enough food and water and left home late at lunch.
We were doing 18 min per km with the kids and were glad we turned back at the 3k mark. They handled it like Champs though! Next time will go back sans children

So, Me and my buddies went hiking here. The sign said "Top of the World", so were like "Ok, great". Well, it actually is top of the world. Once we got to the top, we could see all the way to South Africa. However, Bill, one of my buddies fell of the top of the world. By now, he's probably made it to the underworld.

Just did the walking tour about Fernie and the First World War and the internment of ‘enemy aliens’. The interpretative guide was excellent and full of local history. Learned lots and would love to do the other two tours about the fire and bootlegging.
The museum itself is small but it has a wealth of information and the exhibits are well thought out and put together. Loved learning about the history of the area and lifting the high tech air pick. Can’t imagine beating a guy in an arm wrestling contest that lifts one of those things eight hours a day.
Excellent place and I highly recommend the walking tour as well.
Been coming here for over six years, one of my favourite places to visit! Exceptional service, polite friendly staff, always greeted with a smile. Love it when I get seated in the best seats in the house at the end of the bar. I can see the whole place from these seats which is great! The beer is so good I had to bring my favourite, “Campout” to the most easterly point in North America last summer, Cape Spear Newfoundland, also my home. FBC team, now you’re beer has been from one coast of Canada to the other! Love going to a place, “where everyone knows my name” 🎶

Amazing beer, great customer service and a nice atmosphere to sit and enjoy a brew after a day of exploring what Fernie has to offer. We were even treated to a deer enjoying some leafy greens across the way.
We always make a point of stopping at the FBC when we are in Fernie - kid friendly as well.

Booked my trip to fernie months ago. Was told about this great brewery. Looked forward to it - arrived with my boyfriend and was not welcomed but told to move aside at the front door , worker did not have other people flow in. Only seats for the 2 of us , located in worst spot looking behind the bar on far side by retail hooks. Seated for one moment and bar tender says 12 oz or flight. We said we just sat down first time here visiting. We walked out. Poor experience. I was hoping to enjoy this place as I recently tried Huckleberry beer and it was tasty. Came all the way from Kitchener, ON.

Really cool brewery in Fernie. So their beer is really good, the kind that pleases the crowds, meaning there is something for everyone, so a group of friends can spend an afternoon here and pretty much guaranteed everyone will like what they try. On top of that the tap room is just really cool and has a great atmosphere. But if that is not enough for you, they are also one of the best branded craft breweries I have ever seen. Their branded products are awesome, and I have were from around here I would pretty much wear their stuff on a daily basis, that is how awesome it is. Overall paying them a visit is a whole experience that you should not miss if you are visiting Fernie, I would even say is a must do when in Fernie. I would highly recommend this place. (I wish I had taken pictures, but my battery was dead, now just take my word, the place is just cool)

The staff is great, the taproom is comfortable and the four beers I tried were wonderful; Huckleberry ale, Brown ale, British porter and Raspberry sour. Absolutely worth the stop!

Has good beer. Customer service could use some work. My cousin bought a pack of beer and one can was completely empty and sealed. When he tried to exchange it for a can with actual liquid in it they said he needed to bring the entire case in. He even brought the unopened empty can in. Of course at this point the case and receipt were long gone. It is silly how a large company like this treats their loyal customers who have been buying from them for years. Like how hard is it to exchange one beer.
