Bryce Canyon National Park is home to towering spires, also known as hoodoos, and a natural amphitheater. Visitors can enjoy scenic overlooks and hiking trails that offer stunning views of the landscape. For those looking for a stress-free departure, it's recommended to leave early and head back to Salt Lake City via I-15 which takes approximately four hours.
My experience with this place was very positive. Such breathtaking views from mile 1 to all the way to the top of Rainbow Point. It isn't that long of a drive but there are spots to hike, camp, and go horseback riding.
Overall, this park is beautiful!

Wow!! Each National Park I visit “one-ups” the last. Badlands, Glacier, and now Bryce to finish the week. Definitely didn’t disappoint. Expansive vistas, great trails, and helpful staff.
The shuttle bus is THE way to travel in order to have a stress free visit. Parking is limited at the popular vistas/look out points and longer distance hikers may not rotate out of spots to quickly.
I arrived at about 3pm and still had plenty of time to make my way from point to point for great views and some awesome pics. Walked the Rim Trail 2x. Different view with each change of the light.
Gets busy at sunset with those seeking last minute pics. 30 minutes after dark it was a convoy departing. 30-45 minutes later and it was like the park was mine.
Spent the night and got 3 shots as the sun n came up over the valley.

A full day of mosey around style hiking on the too easy to get to stuff. Probably another full day or two of the trails down deeper in the canyon. Park ranger gate closes after business hours so entry is free for sunset. Extremely clean park. Only one dog friendly path/trail by the campgrounds. Small town feel with

A Journey Worth Taking!Sometimes, the unplanned detours lead us to the most breathtaking places. This hidden gem wasn’t on my itinerary, but I’m so glad I stopped to soak in its beauty. 🏞️Bryce Canyon National Park is an absolute must-visit spot, offering a glimpse of paradise😍

We had a blast when we came visit. It’s magnificent!! It’s amazing how it was formed and how the colors changed. It’s definitely one of the best canyons! There’s so much to do and see. A good place to do hiking. I highly recommend visiting it.

Title: A Breathtaking Adventure at Bryce Canyon
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bryce Canyon National Park, and it was an experience beyond words. The sheer beauty of the scenery took my breath away. The majestic hoodoos and vibrant colors of the canyon walls painted a surreal landscape that felt like stepping into another world.
The hiking trails were nothing short of awe-inspiring. Each step revealed a new vista, a fresh perspective on the natural wonder before me. The diversity of trails catered to all levels of hikers, allowing me to explore at my own pace. Whether it was the challenging switchbacks of Navajo Loop or the leisurely stroll along the Rim Trail, every path offered its own unique magic.
The connection with nature was palpable, and the serenity of the surroundings was both humbling and invigorating. The cool breeze, the rustling leaves, and the distant calls of wildlife created a symphony that added to the overall experience.
The memories made at Bryce Canyon will forever hold a special place in my heart. It's a place where time stands still, allowing you to soak in the grandeur of nature. I left with a renewed sense of wonder and gratitude for the beauty that our planet holds.
If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend visiting Bryce Canyon National Park. It's a true testament to the marvels of the natural world, and an adventure that will stay with you long after you leave.

The wonders of nature! This is a beautiful place to visit if you are ever in southern Utah. From the vast openness to amazing rock formations. Plenty of trails to hike and places to take photos. But definitely watch out for the wildlife while driving, had a deer shoot out in front of my motorcycle. Roads are twisty and make for a great ride. Add this place to your next trip and you won't be disappointed! I plan to visit here often.
Ryan Dunn (Ghost1276) — Google review
Amazing views of the canyons and hoodoos on the trails. It's great that you can hike to see different perspectives of the canyons at different angles to give you that sense of awe.
We hiked from the Sunrise Point to Sunset Point (loop) and the views were spectacular. Since it was mid-March, there is still snow present so you'll be sloshing around in mud (like red clay).
Allen Leung (World of Dreams) — Google review
Great park! If you only have time for one quick stop you must go to Bryce's point! I recommend you drive the entire road and stop at all the view points. They are all SO different! The Queens garden hike was very cool and not too long.
Jason Knepp — Google review
Plan to stop along the road edge to look at the views. There are many great lunch picnic areas and campgrounds along the way.
Hiking is great and you will benefit from a pair of walking sticks. The right hiking shoes are crucial. A 360 camera is best to capture and absorb the amazing landscape. Otherwise a panoramic setting will serve you well here.
Vincent Jackson — Google review
One of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Sunrise point and inspiration points were our favorite places. They have both paved and unpaved access to the canyons and we were able to get some amazing views for photos. The park is an easy to drive layout and plenty of bathrooms throughout. Such a peaceful location!
Casey M — Google review
This place has devastating beauty. It's amazing all the different contrasts in color, rock formations, and skyline. The hikes are fun and range from easy to hard based on your skill level. I highly recommend checking this National Park off your list of things to do/see.
Audry Potas — Google review
This park is absolutely stunning!! As beautiful as Zion but totally different look. The scenic drive is well worth it!! We started from the “end” and worked our way back to the entrance- stopping at all the pull off areas and scenic lookouts. Hiked part of the Queens Garden Trail- one of the “shorter and easier” hikes at Bryce. The hoodoos are unreal and the views are breathtaking. 10/10
Taylor Morgan — Google review
The view and scenery was breathtaking. We were there before the sunset so the color of the mountains are beautiful with the snow on top of it. It was on a weekday when we came visit and it was not crowded so we were able to take good photos. I recommend this place for you to visit and include in your bucket list.

Very impressive! Visit in Summer 2018 and Winter 2019, 2023/24. We love the hoodoos. Great trails and canyon! Very beautiful in winter with snow!!
S — Google review
It is like no other place on earth! The hoodoos and natural bridges are awesome! The colors are other worldly and, when there is snow, it adds a texture and layer to the complexity of the landscape. Don't miss Bryce Canyon! Super easy access for all. You can hike if you want but it is not necessary. The views are unlike anything you have ever seen!
Tanner Mullin — Google review
Absolutely gorgeous canyon with its colorful hoodoos. The Peek-a-boo Trail is amazing as well as the Navajo Trail. Great views are found at Bryce Point and Sunset Point. Rainbow Point also offers vast views. The Natural Bridge is beautiful with the canyon.
Misty Schulz — Google review
I have been wanting to go since I was young and it definitely lived up to my expectations. This was amazing! We visited in early April and there was a lot of snow. The lower half of the park was still closed for winter. The amphitheater was amazing! So awesome at the diversity of geology around this area. We will visit again so we can see the rest of the park.
J D — Google review
Underrated park. Beautiful out of space scenery. Easy access to viewpoints without much hiking. Saw Sunrise and Sunset Point as well as Inspiration Point which was our favorite. Great to stop by on the way to Zion, Grand Canyon or Arches National Park.
Valeria Ursu — Google review
This is one of the most beautiful and iconic places in the southwestern and western United States. If you are in southern Utah this is a stop you should make. The hoodoos in Bryce Canyon are amazing. Amazing because of the amount, the size, and the coloring. From white, to yellow, to orange and red the colors are vibrant and mesmerizing. There are several walks and hikes along the rim of the canyon and down into the canyon. They range from easy walks, to moderate hikes down part way into the canyon, to multi day treks. Even a one to two hour drive into the national park will reward you with vistas that you will never forget.
AP Wilcox — Google review
Make sure have the National park pass to be able to pass quickly and no extra fee. It was very nice and unique shaped rocks. The weather was not too hot when you go early morning. Make sure to have plenty of water with you. You can go hiking to the down if the canyon which is cold and nice but you need to be ready because it is challenging. At 11am it was a historic meeting at the top of the canyon and it was very informative. There are bus stations if you do not want to walk around or you got tired from walking. Restrooms are okay but busy.

What a beautiful national park it is! We stayed at Ruby’s inn and next morning started early to do the hiking sunrise to sunset to Navajo loop trail. It was breathtaking! We covered the whole park with lookout points and did trail in 6 hrs and enjoyed every minute of it. Trail is highly recommended to go inside hoodoos and see it from close. The color of the hoodoos is breathtaking. We decided to go one week before Christmas and started early to avoid crowds and heat! It was perfect!! We also saw some deers. Highly recommend this place!!
Preeti Gundapwar — Google review
Been hiking for all my life but this was one of the most beautiful views ever while having a short walk. We hiked down next to Thor’s hammer, crossed the sunset point and headed on to queens garden. I didn’t expect the color of the canyon to be that intense, so it was a nice surprise to pass all the orange rocks. Since the canyon is located on high altitude, there was some snow and therefor it can be a bit muddy from time to time. Hoping you enjoy the views as much as I did :)
Jessi VB — Google review
Such a unique and cool experience!!!! We had the best time going to all of the viewing points and seeing the canyon and hoodoos from all aspects! We really enjoyed mossy cave and getting to hike up to the “windows” formed in the rocks and playing in the creek. Highly recommend going up the creek here and seeing what all there is away from the crowds!
Krysten Duren — Google review
Genuinely incredible national park, some of the most unique structures I've ever seen. The scenic drive is packed with amazing lookouts each showing a different angle with completely different landscapes. The drive also features amazing hikes, many of which are incredibly easy. Watch out for the winter season as many attractions are closed during it. Although the snow is very pretty on the formations during springtime.

This is a must visit. This is a place to take a family to. Of course we had to buy some gifts at the gift shop. It was a beautiful drive up to rainbow point. Everything about this place is amazing. Everyone is so nice and meeting people form all over the world was really cool.

Bryce Canyon National Park is an extraordinary geological wonder with its stunning hoodoos, natural amphitheaters, and vibrant colors. Its unique landscape offers breathtaking views and opportunities for hiking, photography, and stargazing.
visitors should be prepared for high altitudes and varying weather conditions, especially in the winter months. Overall, Bryce Canyon is a must-visit destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
Anwaar Adhami — Google review
I went twice today and was bowled over and totally awestruck both times!
First, hopped on and off the shuttle to visit the 4 amphitheater points.
Second, in the evening, to walk the Navajo Trail alone.
This wonder of nature is absolutely humbling.
I felt so fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit it! 💜🖖

There should be a multiplier for national parks. Five Stars is not enough!
We visited in the winter to avoid some of the crowds. But we didn't realize that the week of Christmas is VERY POPULAR! It was very hard to find a parking space and the shuttle does not run in the winter.
But we managed!
If you do not want to do any hikes, you can see this park in one day easily. But you would be missing out on some awesome views that are only available by hitting a trail!
There is one road in and it dead ends. So you could simply view the canyon from the stops.
We spent several hours just walking along the rim and then did a hike from Sunrise Point to Sunset Point on another day.
Absolutely beautiful park! The hikes would be extremely hot in the summer as there is not much shade available.
Michael Hillman — Google review
We went during the first week of March and it was beautiful. The snow with the orange colors were so peaceful and bright. The hike was amazing with lots of turns and little tunnels. We used spikes which was a good purchase since it was quite muddy.

Zion National Park is a stunningly beautiful desert park situated in southern Utah, featuring hikes and attractions ranging from canyoneering to family-friendly trails. In addition to its natural beauty, the park is home to one of the world's largest open-air amphitheaters – an awe-inspiring spot for concerts and other events.
It is difficult to describe the natural beauty of Zion National Park in words or pictures. There are so many scenic points all over the park. Some of my favourites were Lower Emerald and Higher Emerald pool. There is almost a couple of hours of hike from the base camp. It is a big park to cover in one day but you can take the bus from the base camp to quickly visit most important scenic points around the park. I visited the park in June, it was around 80F. There was lots of water in the river passing through the park. You should enjoy the beautiful sounds of the running water :) I planned my trip by staying the night in St. George, UT which is one hour drive from the park. I left the hotel at 7:00 AM and reached the park around 8:00 AM via UT-9. It is good not to drive in the evening or night because you can cover scenic UT-9 in the morning. My next destination was Grand Canyon National Park, so I left the park around 3:00 PM so that I could reach Flagstaff, AZ before the night. Doing this, I covered UT-9 all during the day time. UT-9 is a very beautiful scenic drive which you should not miss. Do have the following with you,
- Sun block
- Sun glasses
- Stick for hiking
- Lots of water

Amazing experience, gorgeous trails! Highly recommend to visit but maybe not during the summer or early fall months because it can be really really hot.
Also, highly recommend to start the day as early as possible if you want to get a parking spot at the visitors center. The spots get completely full after ~7.30am. The shuttle is very convenient, no reservations needed. Only need a reservation if you are trying to do Angels landing.

Simply amazing! Cross this park off my bucket list this week. Worth every penny. Great hikes whether you like them long or short. The views were just amazing. Park staff were friendly and knowledgeable and always ready to share a good story.

OMG! You will love this place. There are so many things to do. The way that you enter the park with gorgeous rocks and different colors are magnificent. Do not forget to get National parks pass if you are going to Utah and different parks. It will be so much easy to check in and no extra money. You need to leave your car at the parking lot and get in the bus for the other stations. Do not try to drive because it will be blocked. Hop on the bus and enjoy your view. You can get off any station and walk around. Last bus was 7:50pm for us and we had to go back. Visited center is very crowded and you might wait in the line for 10 min. Restrooms are clean but so busy. Make sure you go to the narrows it is beautiful and very challenging. You can swim in the water but it is cold.

In awe with nature's beauty. Love how there are different levels of hiking trails. We were able to do hiking with a baby in our group and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The Narrows trail is a nice walk for all. The only downside of the Narrows was that the bathrooms were not available. Wish we had more days to explore more of Zion National Park.
Ana Torres — Google review
We visited in 1st week of may,It was busy but beauty amazed us. Had to say this park is magnificent in all the terms. Mountains look spectacular during sun set time.
-We did Narrows,it wasn’t too deep but, at few places water is higher than your waist. It was bit cloudy that day.
-We did the Angels landing, after about 2-2.5miles the trail is only accessible by the chain which is very narrow and slippery and also you need special permission to access that.
-Emerald pools trail (upper, lower, middle) are the great start for the day. They are quick simple and amazing.
-Lastly Watchman Campground,we did camping under millions of stars and Surrounded by beautiful mountains. Cold breeze and camp fire such an amazing experience.
It is so hard to capture all the beauty.

The magnificent view of Zion will mesmerize everyone. The shuttle operates within the park is great. Without any problem one can go to important view points by the shuttle.
The weeping rock is unique. Thousands of years Rocky mountain is of a great geological importance.
Thousands of people visit this Park.
Wish to visit again whenever I get to USA.

This is one of my favorite national parks I’ve been too. So much to do and see. The views are amazing and breathtaking. Every year we come back to Zion National Park we have another hike we do.
Every year things change a little because of the run off. Rock formations are altered or moved. Everything is always changing here.
Everyone things it’s always going to be super hot in the park. There is plenty of shade everywhere and the further you get into the canyon the cooler it gets. So it’s actually really enjoyable even on hot days and I’m from Alaska.
My children always have a blast here. They love playing on the rocks and jumping around. The water hikes help keep them cool and going.
Skyler Dyer — Google review
One of the best parks in the United States! Highly recommend getting in before 8am to reduce crowds/ easy parking/ less heat etc. Strenuous hikes truly are challenging so be prepared with water and sufficient time. Nice part about this park is that done if the trails are in the shade to give you a break from the sun.
Michael Hyman — Google review
We loved this park. We were able to fit through the bridge with no problem with our class b camper van. We're just under 11 feet. The drives are gorgeous, and the shuttle is really easy to use. There are so many good hikes. Angel's Landing was a lot of fun and you have to sign up for passes using the lottery application the day before. We wanted to hike the narrows, but didn't have enough time.
Dani Drugan — Google review
Second visit, first time was years ago, but knew we wanted to visit again and spend more time. We did and thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely a bucket list. Place people who enjoy beautiful scenery and being able to do some hiking if they like.

Zion National Park is a breathtaking natural wonder that leaves you in awe from the moment you arrive. The towering red rock formations, cascading waterfalls, and vibrant plant life create a landscape that's both rugged and stunningly beautiful.
One of the highlights of Zion is the iconic Angel's Landing hike. It's a challenging trek that rewards you with panoramic views of the entire canyon. The adrenaline rush of navigating narrow paths and steep drop-offs is balanced by the sense of accomplishment at reaching the summit.
For a more leisurely experience, the Riverside Walk is a serene trail along the Virgin River. It's perfect for all ages and offers glimpses of hanging gardens and wildlife along the way.
The park's shuttle system is well-organized and eco-friendly, making it easy to explore different areas without worrying about parking. Be sure to catch the sunrise or sunset, as the play of light on the rock formations is simply magical.
Overall, Zion National Park is a must-visit for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. Its rugged beauty and diverse trails make it a gem of the American Southwest.

We came late January, it was not too busy and absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed stunning drives with our little ones and a couple easier hikes. The drive repeats Bryce Canyon through the tunnel was incredible and definitely something that should be on everyone's list. Absolutely gorgeous park and such a wonderful time to visit for full access.

The benefit of coming off-season is being able to drive the scenic canyon road in your own car without relying on the shuttle. The canyon is absolutely beautiful and very majestic. Looking forward to coming back when the weather allows for better hiking conditions.

Beautiful park. We were in St George for the weekend and decided to go through the Zion National Park. So glad we did. Absolutely beautiful. Amazing sights. Unforgettable experience. It's not very long of a drive through. You get to drive through a couple tunnels that are literally through the gigantic rock mountains which is pretty amazing and see the most beautiful views. Very happy to have experienced this.

Very beautiful park, we visited it on the end of August. We covered almost all the hiking trails there , enjoying the views at different times of the day and under different lighting conditions. We will definitely come back again.

It is really well run and organized. Map was extremely helpful on which trails to hike. Trams were readily available. Something for all levels. Basic nature hikes to skilled rock climbing. A postcard everywhere you look!

Absolutely fabulous! We went in November and had a great time. The days are shorter and a bit cool, but it was not crowded except at the visitor center. I could actually be alone on most trails once past the trailhead.
Two days wasn’t enough to see everything and I will try to get back.

No words to describe. Small National Park with stunning views at every location. Many hikes turns out to give the best view here. Visiting mid feb and crowd turned out to be huge. I recommend to enter early in the park between 8-10 am. Also nearby towns have amazing cabins and bungalows to stay at budget prices.
Ajinkya Madhyeswar — Google review
Too many people everywhere!!! Long lines to board shuttle buses. A ton of people on the trails. Hard to experience and appreciate the natural surroundings.
Thought the idea of permits for some hikes good idea but doesn't really help since everyone can hike a large portion of hike before getting to permitted area (The Narrows and Angels Landing). And then no one is checking for permits anyways. I think they need permits INTO THE PARK so that one can enjoy what the park has to offer instead of waiting in lines.
Shuttle busses is a good idea else you would be stuck in your car on the road up to the trails or driving around all day for a parking spot but the system has room for improvement.
We hiked Riverside walk. That was a very easy hike along the river on a paved path which ends where The Narrows begins.
We then hiked up to Scout's Landing (one in our party went all the way up Angels Landing). The hike up to Angels Landing is not for the faint of heart and challenging at times. Take your time and bring walking poles - great asset.
Yes! The park is beautiful but it really wasn't enjoyed as much as it should have been due to all the people.

Words and pictures cannot do this park justice.
We did a drive through and pulling off at some of the look outs to take more pictures and explore.
You could spend hours here and never see it all.
There are many trails available for all skill and athletic abilities.
A must if in the area. We are going back again this week to tackle some trails.

Beautiful park with grand rock formations scattering the landscape from even before you enter. Amazing shuttle system with a detailed provided map and vast amounts of hiking opportunities. Springdale is an amazing town to stay in and features incredible views from the hotels and lodges. Not too far from Bryce Canyon, so I would visit that as well.

One of the most beautiful places in the world! Whatever the season it’s stunning. Summers are very busy so arrive early to beat crowds. There are two ways to do the park - the scenic drive (accessible by private car during down times but closed if it gets busy, shuttle bus during peak times). This scenic drive is around the bottom of the canyon and leads to the famous hikes like the Narrows. There is also another road, mount Carmel highway, that is open all year round to private vehicles and winds up the canyon. Plenty of pull offs to take pics. If you’re not super mobile you can simply drive to pull offs and take pics and you’ll get an amazing experience. A nice moderate short hike is on this last road and it’s called Canyon Overlook Trail, parking just after you drive the tunnel- one mile, mostly ropes but a little un-even. Parking is adjacent but often you may have to park further up and walk down. The hike provides stunning views and is well worth it. For the serious hikers and daredevils there is angels landing or the narrows - these take planning and the landing is on a lottery system now so you will need to get a pass in advance. Whether you have half a day or a week you’ll never run out of amazing experiences to have at Zion.

Beautiful, surreal, captivating views. Just an amazing place that has to be seen to be believed. Amazing trails for all skill levels. Get there early for the poplar spots as parking is limited. You can park at the visitor center and take the shuttle throughout the park, which is convenient.

Just wow. Absolutely breathtaking national Park. The hiking is to die for and the place seems to be run like a pretty well oiled machine. You must take the shuttles to get to your destination so in peak season like now it was quite a long wait but at least they have lots of shuttles. Best to take a shuttle in as parking is pretty limited. The park is fairly easy to explore as you can really only launch from a shuttle point but the hiking is extensive and glorious. Saw lots of wildlife and the views are just amazing. Only downside is that the park was packed and it's kinda hard to really feel alone ever or like your on a hike in the wilderness.
mordy kramer — Google review
We recently stayed on the Park for a couple of nights. The shuttles are pretty crowded, staying at the Lodge gives you guaranteed parking and easier access to almost all of the hikes you may want to complete. The on-site restaurants are what you would expect from Xanterra, it’s not gourmet, but you don’t have to go through the overcrowded gates to the town. I would not recommend a visit unless you have reservations at the lodge.
Dawson Rouse — Google review
I was only here for a day, but it’s absolutely stunning. There are an overwhelming number of different hikes for all levels, you can rent bikes, or you can just ride the shuttle and take it all in. Truly an amazing place to be.
I was here at the beginning of March. It was cold and windy but a great time to be here for smaller crowds.
Steph West — Google review
This was my second visit and I liked the park even more than last time. I visited in February so it was not super crowded and the shuttles were not operating. I stayed at the Watchmen campground and I liked it, except for the lack of showers. I reserved two nights, both relatively last minute. I toured the park almost all day and went through from end to end twice. First stop was the Narrows parking lot as it fills up fast. For most of the day I stopped at roadside pullouts and that worked well most of the time. I had trouble parking at the Lodge for lunch so I had to do a little hike. The restaurant was very nice. It's kind of weird being at the bottom of the canyon instead of the top, but it's a nice change. Photography is a little challenging as the light at both ends of the day is very obstructed by the canyon so there are dark shadows everywhere. The stargazing was very good.

We snowmobile right out of our lodging over to the top of Logan Canyon and hit many beautiful wonderful trails and had a fantastic experience in the powder over 2 feet deep! it was a fun family trip and we will definitely do it again. Utah snow really is the best

What a blast! Such a beautiful property… and a really nice way to see another part of Utah while on a ski trip in Park City! HIGHLY recommend this business. Not only are they great at reading your group to see how fast to go, but you get to “stretch your legs” on the machines in an open area and really see what they can do 😎 they provide everything if you need it- warmer gloves, helmets with face shields… I even saw clothing? We have been snowmobiling in Mammoth and in Tahoe, this was THE most fun. We also saw a moose! A bald eagle and rescued a deer on the way in! Such a gorgeous area to visit. The owners are a very nice couple and they have a super friendly team, plus their family dogs that come up to greet you upon arrival and when you return ❤️ bonus! We wish we did the 3 hour! But we’ll be back :) Book now!!

LOVED! IT!!!. Seriously one the best. My first time snowmobiling I didn't know anything about driving it and it was so easy and fun. Connor was a great guide and just so nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

We had an awesome ride with Gage as our top-notch guide. It was one of our favorite experiences while visiting friends in Park City- we blasted over snowy trails, tore up deep powder as a massive thunder-snow storm rolled in, saw a herd of elk moving across the mountain, and had the time of our lives. Gage was incredibly knowledgeable and capable- safety was his primary concern with epic fun a close second. We would highly recommend and will do it again next time we’re out. Our friends plan to take other guests out as well. 5 stars for backcountry and for Gage 🌟

Amazing experience. Even though we were late, they were still helpful to acommodate us for the trip so we wouldn't lose all of our money. Other adventure companies I've experienced in the past do not do this for their customers. I will come back in a heartbeat. Keep up the great customer service.

Even better than expected! We were in Park City for a ski vacation and decided to do a midweek rest day and go snowmobiling. There were multiple options but Backcountry appeared to offer the most remote and scenic routes. They are a 40-45 minute drive into the Uinitas mountains that is very scenic. One there we found a casual but professional group who quickly got us ready, providing (for a fee) any necessary equipment we lacked. We took the 3hr afternoon tour with Sarah and Matt who were friendly, fun and totally engaged in terms making sure we had a great time. The views were amazing including a ridge line view at about 10,000 ft where we could see Utah/Uinitas mts to the right, Wyoming/Tetons straight ahead, and Idaho on the let to the west. Thanks to Sarah’s sharp eyes we saw a bull elk and a moose amongst other things. The best was a 45 minute free for all in a meadow were we just played with the snowmobiles. There were 10 of us and everyone agreed tour was every thing we hoped and much more. Definitely worth the drive!

1000% worth it! We booked the 3 hour tour and were kinda worried it was going to be too long. We had so much fun that time flew and we coulda stayed out there all day.
The private land made the experience totally different from being on public trails which we did the day before. Feels like real back country snowmobiling. Highlight for me was the play area full of FRESH UNTOUCHED powder where my inner child got to let loose.
Tour is also good for any level rider as my wife only had 2 hours on a machine prior to this tour. She loved it and never felt uncomfortable.
Awesome terrain, awesome guides! We will definitely be back!!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE. The best part is the land you travel on. They have massive acreage and amazing views of Wyoming and Idaho.
Our tour guide was exceptional and I felt safe and prepared the entire time. He let us run free when it was okay and kept us in line when necessary.
100% would recommend this place. Take the longest tour, it's worth it!

Beautiful fresh powder. Our guide from Backcountry Snowmobiling couldn't have been nicer. She spotted a sow moose and 2 calves off the trail. Able to charge through the meadow on the snowmobiles, over hills and terrain. Highly recommend!

What an incredible experience! The staff were super friendly and helped you get any gear you might’ve needed/forgotten. Gage, our guide, was very informative on how use the mobile, as it was my first time. He was super encouraging and made the entire experience stress free and fun. We stopped for plenty of photo ops, and even got to see some incredible wildlife. To top it off they had a cute dog named Beans and two adorable puppies. By far my favorite thing I’ve done in Utah! Can’t recommend this place enough!!!

This tour is an absolute must if you are visiting the Park City area! I can’t give enough stars to rate how genuine and kind everyone was on this adventure. Coming to this area of the country we have learned that things can happen that unexpectedly change plans. I have to thank Backcountry Snowmobiling for accommodating us on every level. We had to change our reservation from Friday to Saturday because one of our vehicles didn’t make it through the backroads and the team at Backcountry was so understanding and very generously changed our reservation for the following day. When we arrived we were so warmly greeted a s welcomed. They help fit us for all of our gear and took some amazing pictures of us. Then we meet Gage, our tour guide. From the beginning you can tell this is what he loves. He lives and breathes for this kind of work. He gave very detailed instructions on operating the snowmobile and we all felt we were in such good and safe hands. Then the tour starts and what an adrenaline rush. We seen all the animals on the snowy mountains. Elk, Bald Eagle, and even a momma and baby Moose!! Every time we stopped there was something to see and experience. Gage then takes us to the meadow where the real fun starts. Basically I was living off adrenaline as my snowmobile hit 50 mph. One of the most freeing and exhilarating experiences I have ever had. We should have definitely done the 3 hour tour, I could have gone for hours. Gage then takes us to a personal spot of his where he made an ice bridge over a small stream. For me, this was so beautiful. We then head back to the office area where we are greeted with PUPPIES. YES PUPPIES. What a way to end such an incredible day. We almost didn’t want to leave but they were obviously done for the day. It was an absolute amazing experience from beginning to end. I can’t wait to come back next year to do the 3 hour tour and see how big the puppies get! Thank you to everyone at Backcountry Snowmobiling, and especially Gage for giving such a good experience.

If you’re looking for a snowmobile company to tour with, backcountry was amazing! We had Gage as our guide and he was so cool and fun to ride with. We got snowed on the whole entire tour but it was definitely an experience and we got to see a moose from a far! We would definitely come back to this company!

Our family's recent snowmobiling adventure with Backcountry Snowmobiling in Utah was an absolute dream come true, and the unexpected welcome committee of puppies, coupled with the awe-inspiring sighting of moose, made it an experience that surpassed all expectations! From start to finish, the entire journey was a perfect blend of excitement, warmth, and natural wonders.
Gage, our exceptional guide, not only expertly led us through the mesmerizing snowy landscapes but also introduced us to an unforgettable surprise at the beginning of our journey – a delightful welcome committee of playful puppies! Their presence added an extra layer of joy and charm to an already magical day, setting the stage for an adventure filled with laughter and unforgettable moments.
As we embarked on our two-hour trail ride, the pristine beauty of Utah's winter wonderland unfolded around us. The snow-covered trees and picturesque landscapes provided the perfect backdrop for our family's snowy expedition. The well-maintained snowmobiles ensured a smooth and enjoyable ride for every member of our group.
The unexpected highlight, however, was the enchanting sighting of moose along the trail. Gage expertly guided us to a safe vantage point, allowing us to observe these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. It was a breathtaking and awe-inspiring moment that added an extra layer of wonder to our already perfect day. The combination of wildlife encounters and puppy playtime made this snowmobiling experience truly extraordinary.
Backcountry Snowmobiling's commitment to providing a memorable and family-friendly experience, coupled with the captivating surprises nature had in store for us, made this adventure truly exceptional. The safety measures, the knowledgeable guide, the welcome committee of puppies, and the chance to witness moose in the wild all contributed to an experience that will be etched in our memories forever.
For families seeking a winter adventure that combines excitement, heartwarming moments, and encounters with local wildlife, Backcountry Snowmobiling in Utah is an absolute must-visit. We left with hearts full of joy, memories to last a lifetime, and a deep appreciation for the wonders of nature. We can't wait to return for more snowy escapades and the opportunity to create new memories with Backcountry Snowmobiling!

Wow! Can't tell you what a wonderful experience our family enjoyed last week at Backcountry Snowmobiling. We had called in advance as our son wanted to have a surprise proposal for his girlfriend. The staff was just as excited as we were to help plan and be a part of this important day. Julie and Allie as our hosts for the day were simply the best team we could have imagined to pull off the surprise and make it the special day it deserved. The orientation they did was thorough and helpful as we got started on our journey and the stops to see different features of the huge and beautiful backcountry were epic.
My family and I rafting on the Weber River and we were initially skeptical because we usually prefer rivers in the 3 to 3+ classes, but we were all pleasantly surprised at the quality of the river. We knew it was going to be scenic, which it was, but there are definitely some times when you'll get a good splash and some rapids are more technical than we expected. Our guide, Holly, might have been the best guide we've had on any of our rafting trips! She was super friendly, knowledgeable about the surrounding area with fun facts, and was a much better conversationalist than any guide we've had. I would definitely recommend rafting here!

Had a fantastic time on our rafting trip. We met owner, Dawna, as she was wielding a chainsaw and cutting up firewood from a tree that fell the night before. Friendly and nice, she introduced us to our guide, Mark. Mark was great - patient, knowledgeable and fun. The trip was great and Mark maneuvered us safely around obstacles. It was the first raft trip for my 75 year old mom and she was beaming from ear to ear! Thank you for an awesome experience!

We had a large group that went rafting.with Destination Sports and had a fantastic experience. Fun was had by all. Lars was our tour guide and not only did she make the trip fun, she gave us some of the town history. If you have an opportunity to go, definately do it.

Have a great time with Matt as our guide and new friends from Albuquerque. Enjoyed floating the Rapids at the ranch just below Devil's Slide. My grandkids also had a great time. I have floated a number of other rivers before yeah this was still a lot of fun in particularly with the high water level it moved as quickly Downriver. I would recommend this highly to others

Great experience! We went on the Sunday morning trip, my friend, her 9 year old daughter and I. Our tour guide was Donna, she was really fun and amazing. So first time ever rafting for 9 of us. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The guides piper and Matthew were amazing. They really made the trip enjoyable comfortable. The half day trip was perfect for us newbies. We are 100% coming back here for the full day trip.
The Park City Main Street Historic District is a largely Victorian-era district that, after a fire in 1898, was reconstructed in various architectural styles. Today, it houses over 100 boutiques, 50 restaurants, and plenty of outdoor adventure companies.
Wow. So many amazing art galleries in one place! And plenty of shopping and great food options as well. I was very impressed that even while looking at photographs, paintings and fur coats that cost more than my car (and some more than my first house) that everyone was so nice and friendly. Not even one person was like that sales lady on Rodeo Drive in the movie Pretty Woman, and many seemed to genuinely enjoy my South Carolina drawl and comparing stories of our travels. I didn't get to ski, but there were plenty of families there that seemed to be having a blast. We found really beautiful views, a wonderful atmosphere, and a truly welcoming group of people.

Whenever you're up in Park City you always have to walk along Historic Main. Be aware that this is a tourist location, so you're looking at higher priced dining experiences and somewhat overpriced goods. But if price isn't too much of a concern then you'll be able to enjoy local artists and galleries, bookstores and confectionaries, and some pretty tasty pubs and restaurants. If you're in Utah for the ski season this can be a fun place to hit after the slopes

Lovely City! Another place you should visit if you visit Utah. You should go during the daylight and night. Unique shops, art galleries, restaurants, and entertainment. Christmas snow globe tour was a little bummer. The website made it seem it would be a little more interactive. Some are spaced really far apart. Had a little higher expectations considering it is in Park City. The decorations on Main Street was cute. Loved the tree.
We happened to be there the night Santa was supposed to ski down the slopes. No Santa unlike what the site claimed it was to happen. Big bummer for the kiddos!

A nice looking town with lots of high to overpriced shops to browse. Got some good exercise walking down then up hill. It does have a trolley to help people out. Occupied a couple of hours looking around. Asked a shop clerk about public rest rooms and she rudely told us they were next door. They got the job done at best. It is interesting how such upscale towns have such poorly maintained facilites for people that are spending money in the town.

Deer Valley Resort is a ski resort located in the town of Park City, Utah. The resort features hotels, condos, and shops along with restaurants and activities. It is one of the most popular resorts in Park City and offers many activities such as skiing, snowboarding, tubing, cruising on a small lake for kayakers or stand up paddle boarding.
Amazing ski resort. Amazing terrain. I was able to make it on a beautiful blue bird week. They had enough snow to make it worth it. Great conditions. Steep terrain, but enough for everyone. If you are a skier it is a place you must visit. Worth the price. It can be over the top but the terrain and conditions are worth the price of admission even if it is for one day.

The staff was amazing. The lodge is a bit confusing at first but there were plenty of workers to help guide you where to go. The ski school was probably the best I've experienced so far (I haven't experienced many to be fair). The runs were fun. I will say there is probably more for more experienced riders. It's also reasonably priced! And free parking too with a shuttle that brings you to the lodge. One downfall is no snowboarding.

Went for some mountain biking and it did not disappoint. I’m new to the sport and this was by far my favorite day on my bike yet. I hate pedaling and having the lift was amazing. Tidal wave jump track is so enjoyable. If you haven’t ridden here yet, it’s time to change that!
Ryan Wells — Google review
Best ski resort I’ve ever been to. Amazing service, food, and the runs are great! The groomers get a lot of the blues and all of the greens groomed almost every night, and the blacks are amazing for more advanced skiers! I personally enjoyed the blacks over by the Mayflower lift, but they’re super hard, so unless you’re an advanced skier, I wouldn’t try them! The lift lines can get super long if you don’t wake up and get over there early enough, so make sure you’re over there and getting your skis on BEFORE Carpenter and Silver Lake open. Anyway, this resort is amazing, and it’s kept me coming back for 8 years!
Mason Thomas — Google review
Though the base lodges can give you the impression the place is super crowded the mountain is big enough so skiers are spread far and wide. Like Alta this resort is skiers only. Lots of great trails for all abilities. Lines for the most part are short to non existent... during the week at least. We don't do weekends.

This review concerns the skiing activity at Deer Valley. My son and I skied here on a snowy Friday and enjoyed it a great deal. We parked in the free parking and took the shuttle provided up to the base, which worked well for us. The high-speed lifts get you lots of vertical and the staff are very professional and capable. We enjoyed a delicious lunch from their famous cuisine. Lunch hour seating was at a premium, however. My only complaint is that the lifts gather at the top of the ski runs, which means you may end up at the bottom at the wrong lift....

My favorite Utah resort on a “bad” snow day. Runs are always very well maintained and groomed. It’s a huge resort with tons of lifts.
It’s very well staffed, and the staff care a lot about your experience.
It’s a great ski resort to check out if you are 1. a local with an Ikon pass or 2. made of money.
5/5!

We didn't stay at the property, we just ate there. Excellent service by some fun Jamaican servers. They always add a fun spice to your experience. Other than the fact that it was ridiculously expensive, it was fun.

The pros:
*Parking lots are full but everyone hangs out in the lodge so there are no lines at the lifts. Interesting that no one actually skis when they come here
*Hot water in the bathrooms is unlike any other resort in Utah
*not young kids running lifts. All older professional people
*It's not like other resorts where you ski through nature and picturesque mountains. It's more like skiing in people's back yards which is really weird. One of the chairlifts literally takes you over a road

Utah Olympic Park, built for the 2002 Winter Olympics, is a sprawling complex that offers various activities and sports events. It features ski jumps of different heights ranging from 10m to 120m, bobsled-luge track, and Nordic combined events. The park hosts national competitions throughout the year and is also used by professional athletes for training purposes. One can engage in adventure ropes courses or take zip-lining rides while exploring their inner athlete.
We did the bobsled experience and it was awesome! So much fun! That being said, if you're having second thoughts, it really isn't as scary as you might think. Very similar to a wooden rollercoaster ride.
The park itself is amazing in the winter. Lots of cool things to see!

You should take some time and go here if you are visiting Park City. You can watch ski jumpers do their acrobatic tricks into the water for free. For $85 you can do 3 1/2 hours of sliding the tubes down the ski hill or the alpine slides or the zip lines. We went on a Thursday afternoon and it didn’t feel too busy. The skiers are very entertaining to watch.

Our visit the Olympic Park proved to be a highlight our visit to Park City. Three members of our family participated in the Bobsled experience and they were so happy with it. Impressive facility in a very picturesque setting, good museum and facility tour. It is close to a very beautiful alpine style town Park City, which is nestled into the valley. Two massi e off leash dog fields, and a bridge for skiers to come off the slope right into town A place that knows who and what it is catering for. Very busy, lots of pre , and apres ski, perfect March break weather sun and snow.

What a blast the bobsled is to ride. I highly recommend doing this ride for several reasons. 1. It is fun. 2. It helps to support track maintenance and the workers needed to make it happen. 3. Proceeds from this and the store benefit our Olympians.
All you do is, pay for the ride, take a free shuttle to the finish line where you receive instruction from Carl, receive another free shuttle with your bobsled and professional driver to the starting point, get in the sled 1, 2, 3, and sit down 3, 2, 1 and hang on while you reach 65 to 70 mph and experience up to 3 and 4 g's. You will be hooked and if like us, we did it again the following day.

I really didn't know what to expect. I read that some Olympic athletes trained there, but that was about it. It turned out that there were about a dozen kids and early 20's people practicing on the smaller jumps and landing in a pool. We enjoyed watching that. The bobsled run also had some paid participants. We opted out since it cost $100. It was still fun to watch. The biggest surprise was going to the top of the ski jump. I had no idea it was that high. Those athletes are crazy! Many rides for the whole family. Highly recommend!

The Canyons Village at Park City ski resort offers a variety of amenities for skiers and snowboarders, including 4,000 acres of terrain with 182 runs. The resort is connected to the Park City base area by the eight-passenger Quicksilver Gondola. Beginners can enjoy exploring the upper mountain green runs while intermediates can delight in blue cruiser runs.
The mountain is great, not much open but it is early so was to be expected. But the parts that are open are well maintained. We love that the mountain opened early this year as it is not as crowded as it normally would be which I love. Hardly any wait at the lifts. We will be back. The people working the mountain and in the shops in the village were amazing and super helpful. We enjoyed Canyons Village better than Mountain Village.

Had a great time! I just wish that the green hill wasn’t the end of other runs. You have lots of beginners mixed with more experienced skiers. I’m sure they won’t change anything over this review, but just for anyone who is at a beginner level I would look for a more beginner friendly mountain.

This hotel is one of the best in the area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you for sure will love it I'm sure!
Very nice place to spend a summer day if you're looking for a great way to relax outside. Great food at Red Pine, fun hikes and biking trails, and some disc golf if the mood strikes. Very mellow and underappreciated.

Awesome location for skiing. We stayed at the Hilton Sunrise Lodge located in the village, which was really close and walking distance to the slopes. It is very convenient for skiing. They offer a shuttle service to other trails at Park City Mountain Village and Main St. Go to Main St for shopping and dining. Be sure to stop at the " No Name Saloon! So cool!

No cleaning service but towels available. Only drawers were the night tables and tiny drawers in a small TV stand, so limited place to put clothes. Towel hook on door missing. Toilet was wobbly and not really safe to sit down on. Toilet paper rack was right over the toilet seat on one side. Had to be careful when sitting to avoid injuring myself! Who thought that was a good place to put it?? Had to return home a day early due to an emergency and they would not refund us one day. Hotels would be more accommodating. Only one restaurant was open for lunch and dinner, but food was great. Chair lifts varied in operation and was expensive to use, especially if you wanted to bring your bike up. Had questions but no one was available at the lobby entrance. Basically huge difference in experience from ski season.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this ski village, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. Here are the highlights:
1. Convenient Location: The village is just a 30-minute drive from Salt Lake City International airport, making it easily accessible whether you’re flying in or driving. The proximity is a major plus.
2. Accommodating Hotels: Not only are the nearby hotels close, but they are also exceptionally accommodating. It’s reassuring to know that comfort and convenience are top priorities.
3. If you are interested in ski lessons, Canyons Village offers child lessons grouped by ability level and similar age range.
4. Well-Designed Runs: The ski runs are meticulously set up, providing an exhilarating experience for skiers and snowboarders alike. The mountain terrain is both challenging and enjoyable..
5. Close to Town: Being near Park City center adds to the overall appeal. After a day on the slopes, you can explore the local scene, dine at nearby restaurants, or simply soak in the charming atmosphere..
6. Free Shuttle Service: The area goes the extra mile by offering a free shuttle service to and from the village. It’s a thoughtful touch that makes transportation hassle-free..
7. Cozy Fire Pits: Along the walkway, there are fire pits where you can sit around and watch others walking by and skiers..
In summary, this village area combines convenience, quality, and warmth—a winning combination. Whether you’re a seasoned skier or a first-timer, I highly recommend it.
Cheers to memorable moments on the slopes!

I love that they have fireplaces outside for guests. It would be awesome if they had a little coffee/tea/cocoa stand, so you don't have to go inside the restaurant, especially now 2022. I saw something like that but it only seem to sell alcohol. Still would recommend

Great resort!! And helpful people working here! It seems like it became vogue online to bash the ownership (Vail), but I’ve never had a bad experience here. Highly recommended! PS I do wish you would get the avalanche control at Murdock Peak area done more often/faster- would be great if that was open more!

Great location able to ski- in and ski-out using the Sunrise lift. Also only 5 min walk to the Orange Bubble or Gondola. Lots of new restaurants in the area and good areas for apres ski drinks. Rooms are perfect for our needs with a kitchen with dishwasher and a spa-bath. Carpets were a little worn, but that's typical of ski places.

We stayed at an Airbnb here. What a great location! Super close to town! Super accommodating with the free shuttle they offer to and from the village. My husband enjoyed snowboarding while I grabbed a drink and sat by one of the fire pits. Personally, I loved the free cabriolet.. what amazing views!! Definitely recommend staying here or even just to visit for the day!

Love the canyons side, worked here for almost four years as a snowboard instructor. Snow is dope, hotels are close and very accommodating. The lessons are awesome and the snow is 10/10. The runs are set up great, and i cannot imagine working elsewhere.

Not every room had a refrigerator or microwave.

We stayed in unit U5. Great location with walking distance to cabriolet lift and heated outdoor pool. Just a few things I would change about this unit. The dryer is not vented to the outside, so it does not dry anything well. The upstairs is all one area, which is fine, but the bathroom door is open at the top. The light from that is very bright, waking everyone if you turn the light on. It is well stocked with everything you need for cooking.

Perfect location, right at Red Gandola stop. A few restaurants in the area, where we were not able to get without reservation for dinner.
Very nice playground for kids. We were lucky and with 15’’ snow , kids just played in a snow and did not need any additional entertainment. They all got together and enjoyed a snow ⛄️.

Canyons Village has a great location to access the mountain and do some dining or shopping. The hotel rooms are good, but the Sundial Lodge is a bit dated - even though it's still okay.

As amazing as Park City Canyons is in the winter with their pristine powder and incredible activities for all family members, visiting in the Spring and Summer to enjoy their trails is also STELLAR. The hotels offer ski in, ski out but also hiking and biking trails with unparalleled views. We cannot wait to return in a few months for movies under the stars and to enjoy High West beverages by the fire again!

The ghetto mountain. Epic pass is cheap, you get what you pay for. Everything in this resort is falling apart. From the completely destroyed pavement at the parking lot giving you a rally raid vibes to the abandoned not groomed trails. Horrible. Super busy, rude poor people. Not well maintained. Garbage. Spend more money and go deer valley. Park city is the ghetto of all mountains! Welcome to the slums

The best part is that they have a free parking lot here, throughout the day and it is easy to access the main Gondola free of any charges.
It's much wiser to just park your car here and headout to either of the villages.

Oh my God this was such a perfect place for our week-long vacation. There were events for families in the central area and plenty of places to eat for dinner. We ordered some food for our condo and were able to eat there as well. Definitely recommend staying in this location in the future
Located at the top of Park City on Deer Valley's Summit, this renowned resort offers skiing, snowboarding and other activities in winter. The resort bustles with beautiful autumn colors and offers a true ski-in/ski-out experience.
Park City Mountain is great for so many reasons. The mountain itself is huge especially after the recent connection with The Canyons. It’s also very easy to get around for such a large mountain. There’s a ton of terrain for every level of experience. The town of Park City is also a great ski town with everything from cool dive bars to high end art galleries. Highly recommended!

Neat place to check out even in the off season. We did the alpine slide and it was pretty fun. You take a ski lift to the starting point and it's a pretty long ride to the bottom. We did wish they had a ticket option that would give you more than one ride but we had a good time. There are multiple restaurants and shops to check out and several other attractions. City buses also stop here often so you could explore other nearby points of interest with ease.

6 of us skied last weekend and had a wonderful experience. All of us various levels so skied green to Double black and all enjoyed the runs and variety and size of the resort. Food was excellent. Shuttles to mountain from main St Park City to Canyons was convenient and easy. Many lifts were fast. Highly recommend. Beautiful weather

Amazing routes. All skill ranges. Relearned boarding the hard way. Spent a couple days on Park City Mountain. Highly recommended Canyons Village for Intermediate- Advanced as it’s always a little less crowded with the kiddos and beginners. Or stay near the tops of the peaks and send harder routes. Favourite had to be monkey powder (black) where you ski through some tight forest and tree line. Can get very skill heavy.
Had amazing fresh powder and snow days the week of Christmas through new year.
Routes in the morning were a little delayed on opening. Cause of heavy snow fall. If you’re going to park at the base of the mountains by the lifts plan on getting there early, like 7:30am. Gear up and get in line by 8. Otherwise be prepared to be behind hoards of people in line for the base lifts.

I am extremely happy with my experience here! I am still learning how to ski, while my boyfriend has been snow boarding for years, and we were both able to enjoy the mountain together. There were tons of trail options available for all skill levels and the maps were easy to navigate. One of my most absolute favorite things about Park City, and the reason I’m writing this review, was the staff! Starting from parking, to the season pass office, etc, we were greeted with friendly staff who were more than willing to answer questions. I was AMAZED with the hospitality provided. The park “hosts” greeted us on the mountain and even on the lifts, giving us all the great tips and tricks to make our day fun. There were multiple occasions where we weren’t sure where to go, and all we had to do was turn around and find a person in a red shirt who happily gave us direction. Even the mountain safety staff was beyond kind! Special shout out to Jeff in the mountain safety team - I was moving slow at the end of the day and he took the time to make sure my boyfriend and I were okay and safe as we made our final run down the mountain. So far this is my favorite ski experience I have had and I can’t wait to come back. We even saw moose at the end of our day!!!! So cool!! 10/10 highly recommend!!

Not worthy of even 1 star. Disgusting, rude and unprofessional customer service at the ticket office by Darrell Evans. This man should not be allowed anywhere near paying customers!!! I will never ever set foot in Park City again. The lift lines were over 2 hours long, Yes 2 hours!!! See the photos...you pay $264 for a day of skiing except you don't ski, you spend the day in long, long lines just to get on a lift. The prices are super expensive. For example, a half day ticket will cost you $211 for 4 hours of skiing. DONT COME HERE!!! GO SKI ELSEWHERE!! MR OWENS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSING SOME VERY LOYAL CUSTOMERS AS WELL AS OUR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS!! LEARN TO BE RESPECTFUL OR GET OUT OF THE BUSINESS! Park City, shame on you for taking people's hard earned money to have them stand in line for hours. And...for hiring someone like Mr. Owens to assist your customers. He should be taking out the trash that way it matches his professionalism! Park City your loss is Jackson Hole's gain! BYE BYE BYE!!!

Excellent place for first time skiers! The mountain wasn’t crowded on Wednesday or Thursday, and we were able to get right on lift. The routes were great because even at the top of mountain you could take a green route, so as a beginner you could still go to top. Homerun was THE most fun route, 3.5 miles of cross country turns and then some steeper slopes with the best views EVER! The snow was well maintained and powdery, a perfect spot for beginners learning. The whole lodge was convenient and easy to get around walking in your ski boots (parking, food, rental equipment, bathrooms are all in main building at bottom of mountain).

Nice little town, specially if you are a skier ⛷️ we stay for two nights at the Marriot mountain vacation club, and enjoy the time and place. Restaurants are a bit pricey and during September to November many places closed down. People are friendly, if you are a skier you will enjoy a lot this place and probably will pay more than we did as we stayed during the off season.

Park city mountain is my favorite mountain. It is well maintained and it's huge. The free shuttle system is absolutely incredible. This has been my second year traveling out west to visit this mountain. It's always a blast and there's many bathrooms and places to eat all around the mountain

So, I’m definitely more of a Brighton girl, but Park City is starting to grow on me. It’s truly a different experience every time you’re there. I mean, it’s so big, how can it not be?? If it’s your first time here, I’d recommend starting at Canyons Village. I just think it’s more fun over there. Work your way over to the other side of the mountain if you need to. The coolest part about that side is the Town Lift, which takes you right into town. And, there’s a free shuttle that takes you to each base, so you can get lost and still make it back to your car.

Wether you are a beginner skier or a pro the Park City Mountain is the ideal place to hone and practice your skills. They feature one of the longest in the USA green runs -3.5 miles long. It’s a perfect place for the beginners and families with small kids. They even have a small ice rink. Although I saw four years old kids navigate blues like no tomorrow. The ski school offers all day long kids lessons, half a day adult lessons or private instructors. All together the resort employs over 100 instructors. The ski area is endless, they have so many slopes with various degree of difficulty and the Epic lift pass also works with the Canyons near by. You can spend a week hear and still not to hit all the runs. The resort ski area features many equipment rental companies but if you rent from Legacy Sports Rentals you can valet your equipment overnight. Also keep in mind that locker rentals are on daily basis only but if you need to store helmets and boots overnight you can rent a valet cubby right next to the lockers. There is a plethora of dining options, all pricey as expected at places like these. The quality of food versus prices definitely needs improvement. Vending machines are selling water for $5 a small bottle. After a weekend of skiing you will be ready to sell a kidney to cover the cost. All of the staff working the resort: ski valets, instructors, rental personnel, administrators were helpful and friendly. If you love snow slopes and snow sports and have some expandable cash Park City is the place to be.

DISGUSTING ATTITUDE AND POUR COSTUMER SERVICE FROM “manager” DARRELL EVANS!!! HE HAS TO BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!
CAN NOT EXPRESS ENOUGH WITH WORDS HOW ANGRY WE ARE RIGHT NOW AND HOW DISRESPECTFUL THIS PERSON TREATED US!!!
Came to ski ( from Miami Feb 24th to 28th ) in Canons and Park City, but due to the incredible amount of people ( pictures/videos attached), we couldn't do much. We arrived early ( Saturday the 25th ) and started the line for the gondola at 8:30 a.m., and after almost 3 hours in line, we were able to get in the gondola to start the day around noon!
Almost four hours in the morning were wasted making a line and using a gondola just to encounter hundreds of people making more lines for chairlifts.
We paid ($250 plus tax per day, almost $270 ) for a full day of skiing and we only got maybe 2 hours of skiing.
Some chairlifts close at 3:30 p.m. as well. We are coming from out of state and we are on vacation for only three days of skiing.
When we arrived at the ticket window and explained our concern to this employee, (”manager”) the lack of arrogance and audacity was beyond insolence. He did not care about anything we were saying. He was not willing to help us in any way and was making fun of us.
Here we are on our last day of skiing and wanted to ski for half a day and the price for a half-day ticket is almost $230!!!! The full price is $250, ridiculous!
After the explanation that was provided to this employee, he refused to assist us in any way. When I asked if I could take a picture of his name tag, he offered to pose with a thump up and a big smile! That was when we lost it!
I don’t think I can describe the frustration!!!
I don’t understand why this company has this kind of employee working for them.
Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional!!!
We could have paid for half a day, but his attitude ruined the whole experience and we decided just to leave. This place is not worth it!!!
Not coming back again to be treated this way!
Darrel Evans’s supervisor was not helping either. After we left for a few minutes, we needed to speak to Darrel’s supervisor, but he seemed not to care either!
WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!

Expensive resort. If you want to pay the premium of $300+ day pass by all means go ahead. Please do your own research well before entering the resort. I suggest checking out other alternative resorts for better pricing. There are way cheaper resorts that are near Park City that are $50-$100 for a day pass. I paid about $300 for a lift ticket without a lesson. I only went to this resort because I thought they had price options for the beginner slopes with the magic carpet, but they did not. It was too late to go elsewhere by the time I got there. Beautiful place and friendly field operators. The customer service on the phone was degrading me during the call. He was sarcastic, rude, and made remarks. He was not helpful at all. I definitely will not return to this resort and not recommend it to my family and friends due to my experience with their office customer service.

Beautiful breathtaking resort. We had gone early December, so more than a few runs and lifts were closed because of how early it was. But there were plenty of blues and greens to keep us busy and challenged for our level.
Bus system was straightforward from the main mountain to the canyon side, but was fairly confusing to get back and accidentally went the wrong way. If all the lifts were open though you could get there via lift.
Not crowded. No waits. Well maintained slopes. Overall, really great

Absolutely 💯 amazing.
I'm coming up to the largest ski area in the United States. The lifts are top notch and the crowds are mitigated by the express online order and outside expedited fulfillment.
On the high valley transit system, you can visit the rest of the best ski resorts in America.
Family friendly, plenty of facilities that use zero waste toilet 🚻s.

Lagoon Amusement Park is a seasonal park that provides visitors with thrilling rides and live shows. In addition to the amusement park, there is also a pioneer village and camping available. The park's theming is not the best due to its focus on providing exciting thrill rides for visitors. Prices are somewhat expensive but manageable.
It was very fun. Lines were short but took longer due to most rides (particularly roller coasters) having only one car going. We had done the South end's coasters first, leading up in intensity to eventually do Cannibal and the more intense rides at the North end of the park. There were visual staffing shortages and a lot of teenage employees. Food prices were okay for an amusement park, ranging from 5 to about 15 dollars. It does become very crowded in the Midway area with people stopping to stand in the middle of the walkway and you were always bumping into other people. Rides were great and entertaining with different levels of thrill ranging from kid rides to very intense rides. Since this is more of a family park, avoiding Kiddieland is very good, avoiding longer lines and a lot of little children. Overall a very great experience, and since I have a season passport I get to go almost every weekend.

Lagoon is a fun place. Lots of rides. It was a hot day but with the water spraying area at the front of the park we cooled right off. They have huge amounts of full grown, beautiful trees to give shade. We went during the week so lines were small. The staff are great! My only concern is the pricing, it is steep. They have added really neat areas and have plans for more that look amazing!!! Hopefully they can figure out some better pricing for everyone. Definitely worth supporting our local theme park! Still a less than going to Disney, but also a smaller scale. Great pools, fun pioneer village, awesome water rides, and of course amazing roller coasters. If you haven't been here try to make it. If it's been years you will be delighted by the new arrivals.

I love this amusement park. There is something for everyone. It gets better every year. It has been open since 1886! That’s 10 years before Utah was even a state! I’ve been enjoying this park since about 1984 as a very young child and have always had a great time. I’ve gone through different friendships throughout those years but cherish all the memories I’ve had with my friends that have come and gone in that time. The prices at the park have really gone up, which is really the only bad thing I could say about the park. I don’t think they need to add a new ride every single year. People will keep coming back regardless. I do recommend this place, but no one really needs my recommendation. People from surrounding states even come here because there are no other amusement parks nearby for hundreds of miles.

I've been to many different theme parks around the country. Lagoon stands out to me because of their operations. They are very quick at keeping lines moving. I was also impressed by the friendliness of the staff. My main complaint is the queue lines. There is hardly any queue space, and the lines constantly spill out onto the midway. They have a world class coaster with Cannibal and many other amazing attractions. It is a very family-friendly park. I was impressed with my visits this summer, and I can't wait to return.

They've really updated the kids area and rides and is just as fun as when I was a kid. Love that they let moms work for season passes as well! Makes the rides go more quickly and smooth too.

We came to Lagoon to attend a company party. It was so amazing. They have rides that accommodate everyone! We had various ages from 0-80 I would say. They all had such a blast. There are some water rides for when you get hot, they have a sky lift type ride that will take you from one side of the park to the other. They have rides for the little ones that will keep them going for hours! The staff is friendly and helpful. The food that was served was good and the rides were well maintained and clean. They have it where those with disabilities can get on rides first, but the lines weren't too long which was nice. My only complaint is the parking is expensive, and they don't have enough attendants at closing to direct traffic so everyone can get out safely. We didn't really buy snacks or gifts so I couldn't tell you how much things cost, but I'm sure they are as expected. Will definitely come again. It is worth the trip for family fun.

Would have been 4 stars but there were a few factors. Minimum of 5 rides broke down/stalled while we were in line for them. Must have been our lot that day or something, but we would wait for 15-20 minutes to see if they would fix it but end up leaving. These rides are getting so old. Other than that, other rides were great.
I'd highly suggest to bring a cooler and sandwiches as it's going to taste WAY better than anything that is offered there. I had minimal time to plan so we decided to just eat there. BIG mistake. Spent $10 for each order and I felt like I was back in high school with the quality of the pizza, hamburger and chicken. Lunch and dinner spent about $60 for 2 adults and children. We spent about $300+ for the 3 of us. If you go twice or more, I'd suggest their season pass. I think their 1 time ticket is a bit more expensive than I think it's worth. But it I'd what it is. 🤷

Lagoon Amusement Park has held its place as an enduring American classic since the late 1800s. The park triumphantly endured a destructive fire in the 1950s and underwent a remarkable metamorphosis, emerging as an expansive attraction that stands on par with esteemed counterparts like Seven Peaks and other renowned amusement parks. With a plethora of rides that can easily fill your entire day with excitement, and come Fall, they host Frightmares, a captivating Halloween-themed spectacle. Lagoon undeniably claims the title of the most enjoyable amusement park for a considerable stretch of miles.
Morpheus X — Google review
Oof Lagoon - it has my begrudging respect, but it's really way too expensive for what it is. If at all possible, try to buy it as part of a bundle, or what it's really geared for - a season pass for local families. I'd be much more charmed by it if it weren't so expensive! As it is, I really didn't think it was worth it until I rode Cannibal at the end of the day, and that's a properly good ride.
I also really like Colossus, and love that they have two proper haunted houses. They also have dedicated single rider lines for Wicked and Cannibal, which work really well! Make sure you ask if it's chained off. There are two shows - a magician and an Alice in Wonderland pop music show, and both were better than they had any right to be! And the whole pioneer village area is very unique and quiet.
But on the whole - the park is geared towards families, not the biggest thrills. It's trying to be a big park, but acting like a small one - with smeary hand stamps, tickets per ride, short queue lines - it just can't handle big crowds. And on a Thursday, I barely had to wait for anything, not even Cannibal.

I absolutely love coming here with my husband. We don't have any kids, but we still have fun. Just went to frightmares and paid extra to see the show Seance, and that was so crazy and cool! We also got to ride the new ride primordial. We waited in line for 2 hours. It was worth the wait! Never experienced anything like it and absolutely had a blast. We bought some items in their gift shop.

Great park, lots of fun rides. The kids area is almost entirely shaded. You are allowed to bring your own food and drinks in which is a rarity these days. We drive in from out of town multiple times a year to enjoy some family fun!
Fairly short waits for most rides.

I've always loved going to Lagoon! It's been the highlight of my summers growing up, and now my own kids feel the excitement. We haven't been when the water park was open since i was probably 12 (in 30's now) I'm hoping to make it again this summer. The reason I couldn't give 5 stars is because of the wait to get on any of the rides. I know there's only so much a theme park can do about the wait times, but man, I wish the lines weren't 2+ hours at times. Like I mentioned before, we've been going at the beginning of the season, which could have a play in the wait/ridiculous amount of people, but I'm sure it is crammed full of people no matter the time of year. Do theme parks ever set a capacity? Sounds crazy I know, but it's hard to "get your money worth" when the majority of your time is waiting in a line. I LOVE that they let you bring in coolers too. We love having a lagoon picnic at our set up camp.
If we weren't 6 hrs away, a season pass would be a given. That's the way to do it for sure.
This trip we happened to be in SLC and heard the opening day was while we were here, so absolutely we went! Lines weren't too bad (except the new ride of course 😉) and a storm came through so very few of us stayed and at that point, NO LINES! Except we were wet and Freezing 🥶 WORTH IT 😁

I had a lot of fun here! I arrived around 1 and stayed until 9 and still rode most of the coasters. The park wasn't too crowded until the evening time. The rides were thrilling and exciting.
Word of warning: this is an amusement park, not a theme park. The theming is not the best here, because this park is meant for exciting thrill rides.
Prices were okay, but still a bit on the expensive side.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and would come here again for just a select few rides. Especially to ride Cannibal a couple more times! If you're a thrill-seaker, this is a must-ride! The initial 105 degree drop produces an unreal feeling I had never felt up to the point of this ride.

Expensive but plan to spend the entire day here. Tons of ride options and even have a little kid area. Pioneer Village has the popular Rattlesnake Rapids ride (you will get wet!) as well as old buildings to walk around with informational plaques about the history. Ice cream here is fantastic. Lots of eateries everywhere and carnival games to play.

Had a blast! The lines were not to long, I think the longest I waited was about 30 mins which isn't bad honestly. The park was clean, the food was good. The beaver tails were delicious. Cannibal, Wicked, and Colossus were my favorite rides to go on.

I visited Lagoon on the opening day of its 2024 season. The park was busy, but most notably the staff felt well trained, friendly, and ready to go for its first day of operation. Cannibal and Primordial are must dos, and the park offers “old school” rides that really set it apart. We had lunch at the Biergarten which offered great food and a large selection of drinks. I look forward to someday returning to this unique amusement park.

Frightmares is the best time to go to Lagoon. We had a blast in the haunted houses we went through (5 out of 8) and absolutely loved the SEANCE and Lore live performances. SEANCE was worth the extra money - such a great experience - and Larson, Ryan, and Curtis went out of their way to accommodate the wheelchair user in our group. I noticed many people among the staff paying special attention and care to our ADA needs throughout the park, and I was very impressed and thankful. It's been a few years since I've been to Lagoon, and it remains my favorite amusement park. I can't wait to come back next year!

Lagoon is such a fun place to go and ride rides for all ages! We went on a day that wasn’t really busy, but we waited 1 hour and 45 minutes to ride their new ride they have. The price per ticket was a little bit expensive for what we got out of it.

first time being here after leaving across the highway for four years. the new primordial ride is a unique and thrilling ride I've never been on. It's a combo of a roller coaster, interactive, and unpredictable ride. It's a must but damn, we were almost in line for two hours! this was on a Saturday... It's fun, it's cool, and it's crowded. Be prepared, come early, & a pro tip: bring something to do while you wait in line like trivia cards or the flip up phone game.

The tickets are $100ea. and $25 for a fast pass to the Haunted houses (Which I did not go into because the lines are a nightmare). Besides the price Frightmares 2023 was fun.

I'm very impressed with their holiday setup. Santa is within a small cottage, and groups are led in one at a time. It makes the experience much more intimate for the children. They also welcome patrons to take videos for free, which was very kind and doesn't happen at all Santa stops.

Came shopping here with my wife and daughter. With a portion of my Christmas bonus I wanted to spoil my daughter. I've never been able to do that so it felt real good. We were there most of the day. I got some new gloves from Columbia that were a disappointment. The girls got shoes, clothes and beauty supplies. Great place to go shopping! Highly recommend, thanks Station Park!

I don’t go to station park often because I spend more then I should. Ha ha there are so many different stores and I love the pretzel maker and the candy shop! There is so much to do there and so many different options of food to choose from!

Station Park, Farmington is the premier go-to one-stop shopping and dining hub north of Salt Lake City. Within the central upscale complex you’ll find charming park like landscaping, an array of prime shops, restaurants, business/retail space, apartments/townhomes, and a hotel.
Station park is bustling again after the pandemic adversely affected the hub closing numerous shops and restaurants throughout, however, the development of new businesses and apartments/townhomes is flourishing.

Station park is great!! There is so many quality stores as well as areas to sit near the fountain or simply sit outside. It’s a great place to stop by to grab food as they have fast food as well as sit down. It is definitely extremely busy during lunch time(especially with the rush of high school kids during the school year) so I do try and go a little before 12 or after 1. Although it is busy at times there is always parking. Great place to walk around or go to various stores.

Beautiful town center style outdoor mall with lots of upscale dining options We stayed at the Hyatt hotel over there, and had sushi for dinner. Really enjoyed strolling the park at night.
They had outdoor seating and there was a stage setup. They must have open air performances.

Station Park is a mix of restaurants and shopping in an open air mall setup. Parking is best on the sides and just walk the interior. There are also some restaurants and shopping around the main mall area. Stores are fairly good and restaurants vary but they are usually good. My wife likes most of the stores for clothing and I like some of the outskirts stores. Parking is usually not bad and it can get crowded some days. A fun place to visit and the park with fountain is fun and they do displays that change with seasons as well.

There are a few things we love about Station Park and a few things we don't like as much. Build a Bear and the IT'SUGAR candy store are the perfect places for our traditional grandparent date when each of our 10 grandchildren turn 5. We love the Cinemark movie theater too. There are plenty of great places to eat. We love Tacanos. Most of our favorites are off the main campus. Ramen Haus is top notch. Santorini's is so fresh and full of flavor. And there's all our favorites, Zupas, Habit Burger, and so many more. In the summer it's fun to watch the fountain and in the winter there's ice skating.
My main complaints with Station Park is how expensive most of the resteraunts and shops are. It's a very busy place and parking can be a challenge.

Station Park is a great place to shop. I'm not really big on shopping myself, but I do like the wide variety and selection they offer as far as shopping, eating and entertainment in general. They have something to offer for everyone.

I have lived in Utah for a few years now and this is my favorite mall by far. It is exceptionally well kept with a great variety of stores including a few places to eat. There are also additional stores directly outside of the mall. I love world market - they have the most beautiful home decor. The candy shop in the mall is very fun and the H&M is great! I love to walk around the mall and windows shop.
They have a nice fountain and play park in the center of the mall too. Everything you could ask for and more for a mall.

Fun little outdoor mall spot with some great restaurants and outlet style shopping. It's a great mix of retail, cinema and food options.
The Natural History Museum of Utah is a 10-gallery institution dedicated to earth science and native cultures in Salt Lake City, Utah. The museum has an impressive collection of objects from around the US and focus on Utah's unique geological and prehistory. Hands-on exhibits educate visitors about the formation of sand dunes and how to build earthquake-resistant structures! The museum also has a impressive fossil and dinosaur collection, including the only set of Ceratopsian skulls in the world.
The dinosaur exhibit is wonderful. I love the gemstone exhibit too. I also enjoy the geology exhibit that traces the history of Utah through millions of years of massive change.
The museum regularly hosts visiting exhibits from all over the world. I recommend going during these times.
There are also interactive activities for children in the mornings and at scheduled times.
In other words, to get the most out this museum, you should look at their event schedule and plan ahead.

Mine and my youngest son's first experience at a Natural History Museum. We were not disappointed. It was truly amazing. Between all the dinosaur skeletons, the wild life section, and the history of the Indians in Utah, it was all an amazing experience. Plus, the view of Salt Lake City is incredible.

Very nice museum with tons of interesting things to look at. We were there on a weekday when some schools were there. Had it not been for all the kids I believe we would have been the only ones there. Rocks and minerals were very interesting as well as all the fossils and dino bones. We had a great time and would recommend this as a stop for any traveler.

Hot tip: start from the top floor and work your way down.
Hot tip for tourists: if you have a pass to a natural history museum in your hometown, it might be valid to use here too! We used our Museum of the Rockies pass to get in free!
Hot time on time: we went on a weekday in the evening outside of tourist season, there were no crowds and not many other people there.
This is an incredible museum. We happened to visit while there is a Jane Goodall exhibit and it was amazing. There is a lot of thought put in to this museum and I recommend it for young and old alike.
The viewing decks were closed when we arrived, but I hope to get to go out there next time we’re in Salt Lake.

This was one of my favorite museum experiences I’ve ever been able to participate in. The walking amount can be a bit of a struggle for those with lesser endurance, but even then, slopes are gradual, elevators are available, and the entirety of the exhibits, save for a couple optional locations, appeared to be easy enough to navigate and handicap-friendly. The stories and presentations were excellently captured, and they made it very easy to discern between interactive and non-interactive attractions and displays. Fun for any age, with lots of visual, auditory, and tactile interactions throughout. Set aside a good 2-3 hours if you want to see everything and experience things wholly. We spent 2 and a half hours here and ended up having to be rushed out at closing time half-way through the Colors exhibit.
Absolutely worth the time, the travel, and the visit.

Very fun, and I would definitely go here again in the future.

Breath-taking place. You'll dive deep into the history of Utah. It'll surely give you a serotonin boost. The palaeontology section is mind blowing. Loved their collection. The dinosaur's bones are marvellous. Their mineral collections are also praise-worthy.
You'll need 3-4 hour min to visit the place. They have a cafe on the ground floor. The ticket fee is $20 for outsiders, free if you have a student pass (of the U)
Highly recommended place.

Did you know that pterodactyls are not dinosaurs! This is a lovely museum nestled right up next to the mountains. The layout is designed masterfully. It is the perfect afternoon activity! Please do not smell the dinosaur meal…..ugh. You will also learn about the difference between mastodons and woolly mammoths! Well worth the price!

We really enjoyed this museum! The attention to detail is incredible. The flow is perfect to match your pace. You can quickly go through or spend your time at each station. Had a great time here with my two small kids. Lots of steps but there was an elevator for the stroller that was quick and convenient. The dinosaur exhibit was a little hard to find and my husband ended up having to go back through with our 5yr old to find it before we left. Some of the hands on features didn’t work but most did and they were fun for everyone. The staff were helpful and our toddler was free. The gift shop is pricey but had some great stuff that the kids are still enjoying weeks later.

The Natural History Museum of Utah is a sensational interactive destination in Salt Lake City. A visually stunning building set at the base of the Wasatch Mountains is home to dinosaurs, rocks & minerals, animals and indigenous peoples.
At the start of the museum, a hands-on kiosk guides even the smallest of guests to the museum level that most interests your blossoming Biologist, Paleontologist, Naturalist, Historian, or Geologist. This way, if time is limited, make a bee-line for target areas.
Engaging all five senses, visitors can smell extinct flora and fauna; dig for fossils; engage Paleontologists at work; draw dinosaurs; jump to create seismic waves; assemble cells and DNA strands; observe ants; touch a snake, and so much more!
Before or after entrance, trails open up to the majesty of Utah's natural wonders for hikers and bikers alike. Be sure to pack sunscreen and good shoes!
Whether there's an hour or all day, don't miss this gem. It's in the top 10 "things to do in Salt Lake City" for a reason. 10/10 recommend!

Museum is huge, 5 levels, all each have a little outdoor patio with stuff to read. Don't lose your ticket cause it's also the key to get in an out from the patios. Lots of interaction rooms, areas and monitors. When you enter there's a cute quiz that suggests where to start. We didn't listen an started on level 5 an worked our way down and across. There's stairs an elevators. Next to the elevators on each level are restrooms. It took us about 3-4 hours to complete the museum an shop the gift shop. There's much to look at. Native american, fossils, dinosaurs, geology, the earth with minerals and plate tectonics, animals/insects, DNA, micro biology, and human/ animal evolution. An a mini zoo. I'd definitely check it out.

What a great experience and well worth the visit. Not sure of cost as I went as veteran free this weekend. Located off Wakara way at University of utah. 5 floors to explore. Native American indigenous peoples on top, an observation deck looks out over the Salt Lake Valley. Dinosaur on a level some play and Interactive for the children. Wild life exhibits on one floor. A great walk through history. Everyone should visit if not once, many times. Gift shop and food court are here to.

My favorite part was the Native American artifacts. A lot of the science exhibits are hands on / oriented for younger children. They also have an impressive array in of gems and minerals - many of which I had never heard of, but were very pleasing to the eye. It was quite expensive, and closes right at 5. I would have liked more time to explore the upper levels.

Jane Goodall exhibit is great. Very friendly staff I recommend at least 2-4 hours here. We did 2.5 and still feel like we had to rush through some stuff. Dino area is insane but minerals are pretty quick. The overall layout is all ADA accessible and beautiful, really combines form and function. Worth the money

I would ask you to try to go to this museum a little earlier because it close pretty early so I think you’ll need like two hours to enjoy it in a full depth. There was an exhibit of a scientist who lived with monkeys. It was a really cool exhibit. Buying tickets is very easy at the door. However, they don’t have student prices so if your student having your student ID as you want to anything, unless you are a student of university of Utah.
If you really want to see the information about dinosaurs, highly would advise you to go to this museum $23 ticket is very well for this museum.

This is a great museum! In a beautiful building with amazing views, this bolsters also some great exhibits as well. From the natural history of Utah and the special collection of Jane Goodall, this is a perfect place for all ages. We did get a good discount for being students, but I would for sure come back with new exhibits in the future. The gift shops also have lots of great options.

This museum was fantastic, from the outside it looks small, but the interior has so much well designed space and exhibits. The only downside was the parking was a bit limited, but other than that, fantastic. The replica fossils were amazing, as well as everything else! Fantastic place to visit in SLC!

This museum is amazing. I love how it's laid out, and it definitely looks like a canyon on the inside. You can go to the cafe without a ticket, if you want. But the museum is so worth the price. There's 5 floors with so much information. I loved the mineral area, and the dinosaurs from a local quarry were also great to look at. The native voices exhibit is so informative, and definitely worth the stop.
Parking is free, and they have a good lot with ramps. The views from the cafe are great, and they gave bathrooms near the elevator exits.

Beautiful museum with lots of exhibits. Highly recommend! If you go during the warm seasons it's right next to the red butte gardens, which is also nice to do. The Utah State Capitol, originally built in 1916, is a neoclassical revival building that is currently undergoing a massive restoration project. It offers tours and exhibits of its original murals, and is located at the top of a hill overlooking the city. The Capitol is one of Utahs most eminent landmarks, and its architecture is spectacular.
Beautifully done! You have to visit this place. I really enjoyed the history. The architecture was amazing inside. So much more to see than I expected. Nice place to visit. Lots of history. The architecture is incredible. I went during the cherry blossom season which really added to the coolness factor. Put on some nice walking shoes because you are going to add up those steps. If you park a ways off like we did, you may end up with shin splints. I’m not saying that’s what happened, but you have been warned.

Beautiful state Capitol that is quite literally sitting on top of a hill. The building is well maintained, architecturally striking, and lovely to stroll through. Many murals and statues celebrate Utahs history.

I took the TRAX train downtown to City Central and walked from City Central to the Capitol building. It’s a moderately difficult walk because half of it is uphill. Good walk for exercise! The cherry blossom trees are in bloom this time of year. They line a gravel trail that goes in a complete circle around the Capitol building. It’s another good hike and it’s not uphill. There are monuments and statues to view all along the gravel trail.
I went on a Thursday afternoon around 2pm and the Capitol building itself was closed. No one could go inside and view the interior of the building. That was a real letdown. Why is the Utah people’s building closed during normal business hours? Are there not enough tax dollars to have security there during normal business hours so citizens can go in and explore our Capitol building? I marked a star off because it was closed. But it is a great place to explore. People were picnicking on the lawn, flying a kite, kids were running around and climbing up on things, etc. Just be sure not to go there when protesters are demonstrating.

Neat place to visit and learn about! The architecture is beautiful. The tour for us (school group) included being able to see the earthquake supports that have been recently placed under the building. We were also able to see the court room. In that room is a hand-made timer for helping the speakers know when to stop. The timer is in the shape of a traffic light that was built by Lester Farnsworth Wire who made the first version of a traffic light in the state of Utah, in 1912. The "traffic light" timer is still used today. There are great resources on the Utah state capital website such as scavenger hunt games and coloring sheets for use during your tour. So much to see and learn about.

Our 1st stop here upon arriving from Ft Worth, to visit family and grab some of that historic snow! We just randomly arrived, and walked right in, and took a stroll throughout the building. Tours are available, but not for us today... timing. The architecture is stunning, regal, and somewhat intimidating. Bring your best behavior, and quiet voice, as this place will transform you to a different time and place. WOW! The history, art, marble, and meeting rooms were a delight to wander about. I suddenly found my posture improving, and my respect for those before us, well... humbling. Yay for us, just spontaneously stopping in. So worth your time. Nice job Utah!

Title: Utah State Capitol
Visited on : 7th March 2024
Perched on Capitol Hill, the Utah State Capitol is an architectural marvel boasting three stunning domes inside and out. The rotunda dazzles with historical Utah paintings, while an impressive chandelier adds grandeur. Despite visiting at 6:30 pm, entry was easy, allowing us to admire both interior and exterior views of the city and surrounding snow-capped mountains. A must-visit for its beauty and historical significance.

A newer capitol compared to many of other states. But well preserved and taken care of. The rotunda was beautifully designed depicting the history of Utah. A quick place to walk around and a good park to walk around. Great neighborhood. If you are lucky you may meet someone who works here and get to talk about the ins and outs of a capitol.

If you're looking for a very great and quite spacious building and grounds that are being used for the capitol of the state of Utah that also has really pretty cherry blossoms and lots of space to walk around, then, you have found it here at Utah's state capitol.
It's a very nice way to spend 30 to 45 minutes in the early spring enjoying the beautiful sights and aromas of the cherry blossoms. With interesting monuments and historical things scattered about the grounds it's also quite educational.
I give the state of Utah 5 stars. But since this is the government grounds, I'm gonna give it 3. Because governments, well, they're too big.

The Utah State Capital is beautiful! It sits on the top of a hill where you can see a great view of SLC and the Wasatch Mountains. Definitely make sure to walk around inside. The murals and artwork are a must see.
The centerpiece of Temple Square & the Mormon Church, this ornate structure was dedicated in 1893. With beautiful grounds and the Temple itself, it's an interesting place to visit for cultural tourism. There's also a pretty indoor/outdoor mall just across South Temple called City Creek Center.
This temple is so beautiful and so historic. I have loved coming here! We'll see what it is like after the seismic renovations. It will still be amazing! A great place to come and visit!

As an internationally recognized symbol for a specific religion, this is an iconic building to see in SLC. It's noticeable in the skyline of the city and is very well known amongst Latter-day Saints.
They light Temple Square up to the gills with Christmas lights every year, and it's always fun to walk around. The building itself is pretty spectacular - it took a very long time to build in many years ago. If you are a believing Latter-day Saint, this building and visiting it will mean much more to you than the casual observer recognizing different faith traditions. However, it is an architectural structure and can still be recognized for it's beauty. This is simply my rating as a work of architecture. It is a symbol for a Christian religion that has major influence in Salt Lake City. As a tourist coming to visit, it's a building that will likely be on your bucket list in SLC.

To the the people making reviews can we NOT start making false accounts of events regarding this building? This is meant for honest reviews and let's keep it that way. If you want to go spread your false accusations of chanting and interactive plays I would recommend Twitter.

I went for the tour of the conference center. The girls that gave the tour were extremely nice and had very good info about the temple and the conference center. Although I understand the temple was under construction that didnt bother me too much, but the fiberglass Jesus statue caught me off guard. Temple Square, located in Salt Lake City, Utah, is the spiritual and symbolic center of the Mormon religion. The square contains the Mormon Temple and other significant structures, as well as gardens.
Wonderful experience with my older children (8+) while going to see Music and the Spoken Word on Easter! We were there for the first performance since the start of the pandemic and they were truly marvelous! I would highly recommend attending on a Sunday morning and taking it all in!

What a beautiful and solemn experience. We were in Salt Lake City for one day and, at the end of the day, we heard that the Choir was practicing. So we raced to hear them. Beautiful and inspiring.
07/08/2022 EDIT: Please be aware that the main temple is currently being renovated/reinforced. So, it is covered with scaffolding and the towers are gone.

Beautiful grounds of LDS facilities. The main temple is under renovation for next 5 yrs, but the rest of grounds is beautiful! We went in the Assembly Hall, Tabernacle and huge visitor center/convention hall. The visitor center had some fabulous paintings and sculptures.

The temple itself is totally unrecognizable as it is covered in scaffolding. But the grounds still have an amazing feel and the Spirit is definitely there! I saw the Conference Center, Tabernacle, museum, and more. It was all family friendly and very interesting. Someone was even practicing on the organ in the Tabernacle when I was in there.

The Salt Lake Temple is being renovated. The renovation project is in
the third year. Over the past two years, two tower cranes were erected on the north and south sides of the temple. These cranes have been used for various purposes, such as removing stones from the walls and towers. Temple Square is well worth a visit, and visitors can go inside the Tabernacle. There are church volunteers available for any questions.

As we walked the square during the very cold evening, there were no people, and ultimately, no views of the Chapel...as there was a full-on construction project being done with a full-on 10' fence with razors surrounding the Chapel. They even had the surrounding block dug out to sub levels of the street. Amazing to see this scale of change being done right in the middle of the square! It's really something to be seen first hand... especially at night. Looking forward to the progress and ultimately the finished product. Amazing

I love visiting Temple Square! The missionaries are so kind and made me feel so welcome. The buildings were very clean and well kept. The peace I feel here is unlike any other! 100/10 would recommend!!! There's also free parking in the conference center!

Temple square is amazing. They must see. Good Mormon people are very friendly, polite, helpful, enthusiastic, and informative.
The three girls in the picture accompanied my wife and I and and other couple. On the tour it was very impressive. The temple is over 175 years old. Reviewed the tabernacle and then came back for choir practice in the convention center later that evening. If you go to salt lake City, don't miss the chance to go to Temple's square.

Such friendly and wonderful people working here! Wonderful history and beautiful grounds! The main Temple was under tremendous construction and I wish we could have gained entrance or seen it in all its Glory, but we'll have to go back in a few years.

Temple Square is partially under construction right now. But this is an incredible place. The temple on the square took pioneers 40 years to build. There are multiple visitors centers where you can watch videos and see exhibits to learn more about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and it's members.
The Salt Lake City Tabernacle is a beautiful, well-known tabernacle featuring the celebrated Mormon Tabernacle Choir and an organ with 11,623 pipes. It is located in Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah and is known for its beautiful acoustics.

Five stars? How about all the stars… we happened to show up in time for the noon organ recital. With just a handful of us there, It felt like a private concert on one of the world‘s great musical instruments. It literally brought tears to my eyes Look, no matter what your faith tradition or beliefs this is truly a wonder. Visit Temple Square, walk the tabernacle … amazing place… oh and the docents are friendly and knowledgeable. Say hello.

No need for tickets. There are sisters everywhere to help guide you and answer any questions. They offer tours as well. All free of charge. The Temple is currently closed until 2025. But the Tabernacle and Convention Center are open to the public, as well as Temple Square. The Tabernacle offers an organ recital at 12 PM. Doors open at 11:50 am. Very clean restrooms. Bring drinks because no food or drinks are available.

Such a beautiful, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone was so nice and friendly giving us good background info on the Tabernacle. The acoustic demonstration was amazing! Great sounds!

We randomly stopped in for a quick visit during the evening with zero crowds. The pipe organ was on display and being played for a private group of only 3 guests! We sat down, remaining still and quiet... and took in the feeling of majesty and power. The acoustics were perfect to our novice ears and we found ourselves somewhat disappointed when the display ended. I can't even imagine the feeling of a full Choir! Wow

What a beautiful place to be in. The Acoustics were amazing. The pioneer handcrafting on everything was incredible. The volunteer staff for the event were very kind and helpful. My daughter was playing for the event and they had cordoned off places for the family members. We had a lovely experience there.

We had a wonderful experience attending Music & the Spoken Word this morning. We arrived about 45 minutes early and got perfect seats in the center back section. We could see and hear well. We were welcomed by friendly hostesses. We enjoyed watching the rehearsal before the recording of the broadcast. The music was beautiful and inspiring.
Bridal Veil Falls is a scenic waterfall located close to U.S. route 189 with a paved trail and picnic area equipped with tables. The falls are accompanied by frozen sections that enhance its beauty making it an ideal spot for sightseeing. It provides an opportunity for a short hike along the river, showcasing a series of waterfalls providing picturesque views.
Beautiful falls along U.S. route 189. Passed through at the beginning of February here while on a trip to see the Ice Castles in Midway and this was a very nice side stop during the trip. The snow and frozen sections of some of the falls made it even more breath taking! Well worth the stop!!

Great experience and worth the visit . Make sure you view the falls from both view points. Pool water is fun for the children to play in and throw stones, but water is cold. Great story behind the falls, read and let your mind imagine.

Definitely a great place to get out and walk around when the weather is nice! I walked along the Provo river trail that goes past the falls and it's a very easy walk. I also got to walk into the falls a little and it's so beautiful. Truly a gem local to Provo.

Well, it was a beautiful day to go when I headed out there on May 9th, 2023, but it'll be a while before anyone can get reasonably close to the actual falls. A massive avalanche has essentially wiped out the path, and while you can technically hike on it, I wouldn't recommend doing that.
Jeff Of The Mountains — Google review
Overall, I had a really good time hiking up to the waterfall! It's been a few years, so I was excited to see what's changed. One of those changes being that there's some construction fencing up at the base of the water fall. I'm not sure why, but it does kind of detract from the experience a little bit. Since it's still cold outside, there was some snow and ice left on the trail, but not so much so that it made the hike hard. I will say that the view was very beautiful and definitely worth it for the short little hike. I will say that it probably would have been better to go a little bit later in the day when the sun is up higher because being in the shadows was a little on the chilly side. Anyways, fun little hike that doesn't take too long and still lets you get outside!

Anyone can do it. It’s a short walk, about .5 miles on a paved path from the parking lot. However, we tried climbing up to the falls and it was pretty sketchy, so be careful.

Unbelievably Amazing water falls! They are huge. This place is amazing for kids and adults. Great place for family's who want to go on walks or those aggressive bike riders! One of the best parts is that the falls are right off the highway! Makes it easy to get to and get some amazing pictures. You can hike up to be closer to the falls and get an even more amazing view!

Visited Bridal Veil Falls Area in May 2023 Beautiful Falls, However with the Heavy Run- off from the Major Snow Utah received this Year. The Park portion was closed, along with the River. But you could still take in the sights from the Parking Area

We just went and it's mostly closed, major avalanche. We hiked up it for a bit (not recommended, very dangerous) and to get to where the path used to be we were on top of about 30-50 feet of snow. Definitely wait until it's cleared before you plan on spending time at the falls.
Joshua Black (Josh) — Google review
Pathways, trails, and main parking lot still closed from avalanche. The falls were glorious, as always, but the best view at this point is the viewing area further up the highway. You can still park inside the main gate and walk to the picnic area and enjoy the river and trees. No bathrooms. The debris flow is going to take months to clean up, and the upper part of Old Provo Canyon Road is in a serious state of erosion. Watch your step and don't try to hike on the unstable avalanche leftovers.
TheClumsyJedi — Google review
Just a short 15 minute drive from Downtown Provo, Bridal Veil Falls is a must visit. With an easily accessible pull off and trails, visitors can spend a whole day exploring the area. Currently under an avalanche, but still as scenic as ever.

Dating to 1875, this private Mormon school is known for its picturesque campus & athletics programs.
Great location, great professors, great education. Would highly recommend. For those concerned about it being owned and operated by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, some of my best student friends were Lutheran, Catholic and Muslim. Anyone can have a great experience there and get a world class education at the same time. I became a better and more capable person because of my time as a BYU Cougar. Wouldn't trade the experience for the world. "Enter to learn, go forth to serve."

Very bad experience - zero stars for customer service (I am not talking about testing department, which was very helpful for their area). We enrolled a high schooler into a credit recovery (2 part course, each 60 days), and the timer started on both at the same time (no warning when they charged me for two courses at the same time, I guess it all is in a small font I missed). Not only we lost $ for part two we did not even open, but we cannot extend or enroll again for a year. Hence we lose a whole year. Customer service (phone and email) was useless, zero empathy as well. Beware and may you not need their help if you are enrolled.

The caliber of people you associate with leaves you filled with hope for the future. A very beautiful campus, with wonderful kind people everywhere.

Outstanding university with a talented pool of students. Situated in one of the most breathtakingly scenic locations for a university campus, with stunning mountains on the doorstep of the school, your walks to class will be often awe-inspiring. There has been a lot of updating on the campus. Make no mistake, this is a unique environment that won't be for everyone. But for active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or those who like the clean-cut environment, it is a great place to get an education. Though it has a well-deserved reputation as being very conservative, you will find a lot more political diversity here than you expect on many issues. And with the majority of students from outside the state of Utah, in many ways, it is more diverse than any other school in Utah, and less in the "bubble" than critics often claim. Great place to get an education. And the cost for the value is incredible!

Brigham Young University has been voted 21st of the prettiest college campuses. It is a stunning campus nestled beneath the gorgeous Cascade mountains with the huge Y on it. BYU is known for their high standards in academics, integrity, and morality. The campus has beautiful landscaping, the buildings are kept up nicely and are beautifully designed. The student housing is new and nice. Great place to go for further education.

Great university! Amazing value for the price and I liked how it included a religious education. I have many fond memories of lots of classes that I took (in the psychology and business departments). If you’re looking for a school with high moral and ethical standards, then this is the place for you.
On the other hand, BYU might not be for everyone, to be honest. There is a strict honor code that all students must live by to keep a good standing with the university.
While there is always some room for activism to change the university's honor code standards, BYU is a private university and may not be required to make such changes.
If you're looking for a university in Utah Valley that does not hold students to the same moral standard as BYU, then Utah Valley University may be a better place to look for an education.
At the end of the day, I think that this is a great place to study for anyone who is looking for academic rigor, a religious education, and a university that holds a high moral standard.
Oh, and if you like chocolate milk, there's a lot of that. And there are lots of nice mountains that are right behind the school.

I went to school here for my bachelor's of science in electrical engineering. I love the campus! It's so clean and beautiful. The rankings change and speak for themselves but I've realized that often it's even better than the national rankings. This is because this school is a undergrad teaching focused school. We don't have the large state funds of other schools for research but we have some of the finest education in the world!

Wonderful place. A bit on the pricy side but there is so much to do and some unique animals to see. I love this aquarium! I've been here multiple times, and they are always so kind, and helpful, and the animals are all always very obviously well cared for. Their enclosures are always clean, and the animals all look well fed and cared for. My most recent visit, I brought my friends with me, and one of them brought their service dog along. The staff were all kind and professional regarding my friend's service dog, and the place is friendly for disabled people. I definitely recommend this place if you haven't already visited!

Real pricey, but worth it. Definitely buy tickets in advance if you know you want to go (on the website you can buy cheaper tickets up to 3 or 4 weeks in advance). But my kids had a great time looking at all the exhibits and playing on the playground outside. The jungle gym inside cost extra, but is worth the couple extra dollars. It’s super fun for kids and helps them get their energy out.

Absolutely wonderful aquarium! Great for children and adults. Plan to spend at least 2 hours here if you want to see all the exhibits.
If you buy tickets in advance they cost about $17, for day-of they're $25, either way it's money well spent because this aquarium has so many amazing animals to look at.
There's something for everyone here, sharks, fish, penguins, amphibians, reptile, birds and even some mammals like sloths and big cats. There's a few touch pools with rays, anemones and starfish. The aquarium is laid out really well and everything is presented really nicely. There's tons of information and educational things to read throughout the exhibits. My favorites were the saltwater tanks, so clean and beautiful, I could look at them for hours.

Had a fantastic time here with my wife on a Wednesday afternoon. The animals are of course gorgeous, and I love learning about underwater life, both in the oceans and rivers. Also, the food isn't half bad, and the maintenance is great. The staff do a really good job educating people on all the different parts of the aquarium you can visit. Also, it should be entirely accessible for children and the differently abled. I really recommend going here for date night or with family and friends!

Its so super cool here! I really appreciate the animal information panel next to each exhibit, the fish usually have many on 1 panel so its fun to search for each like a little game. Also AMAZING fries, the food was AWESOME, id dare say they have "McDonald" level of sprite. Its a unique taste to get and they nailed it, how funny is that!

This was our first time here. I loved the shark tank that you get to walk through and the penguins! So much to see. My tip is to get tickets in advance online and go in right when they open, to see some of the exhibits without crowds and lots of kids. It is easier to get pictures when there aren't as many people and when lots of kids come in it can get loud. There are lots of animals and exhibits to see and it is definitely worth the admission price.

I love this place! It is just expensive so the only way we have gone is with field trips, or as a guest with someone else. But there is a lot to see here, especially for the kids. The penguin exhibit is a favorite. Also the Otters. But they were a no show when we were there last time. I loved seeing the octopus. It was one of my favorite things. I love the sea horses too. I wish we could have seen the sloth too. But it was hiding. Lol. I'm so glad we were able to visit though!

My family went to this place on Saturday, and we had a lot of fun. We went in the evening, so several of the animals were asleep, but we enjoyed the otters, some of the turtles, the stingrays, the seahorses, and several other creatures and animals that are there. Many of the employees were very knowledgeable about the animals and had a lot of great information to share with us.

My family and I have been to quite a few aquariums around the US at this point, and this one is by far one of the best! The habitats and tanks are all very clean and well maintained and the animals all seem happy.
The layout is fantastic. Separated by region, it allows someone to really immerse themselves in the differences of species and habitats in each area. My favorite exhibit was the honey bees! So cool to see them in action up close.
There are also several interactive exhibits for the whole family, and specifically my small child enjoyed each one. The virtual experience is definitely worth doing, even if there is a wait. Go for it!

I bought an annual membership this year, so I visit this aquarium several times a month, usually every Sunday.
If you're also planning on coming on a Sunday, I highly recommend coming early, preferably within the first few hours of opening, in order to beat the nomal post-noon crowds. Many times when I leave after 1PM on a Sunday, the line for tickets is well out the door.
As for the aquarium itself, it's smaller than many others I've visited but just the right size to go through it within a couple of hours. I very easily spend a couple hours every time I visit just watching the animals (although that may be because I am a huge animal nerd). It's no Atlanta Aquarium, but the shark tank tunnel is still quite lovely to sit in when it isn't super crowded, and I love the variety of displays and animals that they have.
There's tons of parking and places to sit within the aquarium, and the food and drinks at the small cafe is nice enough for what it is. Overall, I will be renewing my annual membership every year moving forward, and I'm looking forward to the future expansions.

Loveland living planet aquarium offers so many features that keep me and my child entertained for hours. One of our favorite parts of seeing the sharks in the large tank and being able to see them swim over our heads as we go through the tunnel. We’ve been to quite a few aquariums in and out of state. This one by far is the cleanest and has the nicest setup. You start at one side and it wraps around and feeds into other zones. Our favorite is the jelly fish and shark tank. The kids love the sting ray petting tank and jungle room.
We visited on ZaP day and it was so busy! Definitely a good deal and we love to support our locals zoo programs, but the aquarium is better on a slow day when you can actually walk through each exhibit. Other than that, 5/5 experience with staff and other patrons.

We went to a special they were hosting an event, and we have been here once before. It is an awesome visit! The variety of creatures is really great! They also have many different animals and are featured to match the region they are showing. One of my favorites is the Jouney to South America. They have so many awesome things to see, from plants, birds, reptiles, a few smaller mammals, and of course.. fish! The kids get to cross a fun bridge and enjoy the colors of the various animals presented.
They have a small play area for you to rest and kids to be rambunctious!
They also have featured events or camps as well as animal encounters you can pay to experience! There are options such as penguins or stingrays interactions.
They also have a unique, deep sea creature looking metal structural piece outside with a fun story! Check it out!

It was super fun for a little date with my husband. We haven't got kids and it was even really fun for just the two of us. They don't have only fish, they've got lots of animals and creatures to see. My only qualm is that the food at the cafe was super expensive. We spent more on food for the two of us than we did for our tickets. Also, it's much cheaper if you buy your tickets online, and a week or more in advance.

It was a memorable visit to the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium today. I thought it would be confined to a few fish and animals only but was surprised to see the range of members of the animal kingdom in this aquarium. It includes a range of fish, crocodiles, sharks, piranha, frogs, snakes, spiders, otters, Penguins and sloth and the list is much longer. One certainly needs a minimum of 3-4 hours to visit the entire exhibits. If you are on time you can enjoy a 4 D show which we couldn't see. It is advisable to book tickets online in advance for a better deal.
Considering that one has to be in the premises for a very long time if possible they should give more varieties of food items taking divergent people into consideration and prices could also be a bit competitive.
Overall a good experience.

Pretty cool place. The exhibits were well done and informative. The staff were friendly, helpful, and respectful. It was surprisingly quiet for a Sunday. I expected massive crowds but there was no wait to get in and it wasn’t horribly crowded.
Thanksgiving Point is a charitable establishment that accommodates a variety of amenities including gardens, an interactive farm, eateries, shops and the Museum of Ancient Life. For those seeking a more scenic route, taking the drive over the mountains via route 92 through Sundance and 189 offers breathtaking landscapes until you rejoin -15. After passing Spanish Fork, the area becomes sparsely populated with just stunning scenery.
We went to the butterfly exhibit and it was beautiful. Our group was able to get amazing photos with the butterflies. I am a huge plant person and loved the plants they had inside. The playground indoors next to the exhibit was awesome of the kids to burn off their energy. Next time we’re in town I would love to come back.

Always enjoy the Tulip Festival at Ashton Gardens. I am impressed with their ability to maintain such a large property and to make it inviting for all every year. I also learned that most kids really like the two animatronic dinosaurs that have been placed near the entrance and are being allowed to eat the tulips. Of course, I did hear one of two kids start to cry when the sound effects recording started playing. I'm sure I will be back next year.

We had a lot of fun visiting a couple of spots around Thanksgiving point for my son's birthday. We loved the farm animals, the butterflies and the dino fossils. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the amount of unsupervised kids running around: scaring the animals, stepping on butterflies and throwing sand everywhere at the little kids. It's upsetting to see how stressed the animals and workers looked... not sure why parents would allow their kids to treat animals so unkindly.

So much fun! A wonderful environment for learning, and just all around good vibes. We came since I was a little kid, and now as an adult, we drive 12 hours to come visit it when occasion permits.

Thanksgiving point is a very awesome and unique place! I’ve never been to a place like this before! There is a wide variety of activities to choose from! The Dinosaur park and the farm animal experience was alot of fun! In the dinosaur park, the animatronics were awesome! Kind felt like we were experiencing Jurassic Park! The kids absolutely loved this place! We will definitely be back again. I highly recommend this place.

Best place to take your kids (and kids at heart) without them getting bored too quickly. Annual membership a must. Weather doesn't matter either. They have lots of extra activities that are educational and fun. Personally, I love the ancient life museum and their vast fossil and dinosaur collection. Their staff are friendly and helpful.

We visited the Butterfly Biosphere. It's a magical place where you can view butterflies in all stages of life, see incredible plant life, and even spot a fairy garden.
The life cycle of a butterfly is taught through posters and actual observation. This is a great learning opportunity for adults and children alike.

Thanksgiving Point during the holidays has the most beautiful lights display I have ever seen. Its called Luminaria and is done so beautiful, it really does feel magical. There is also a fire and ice show that plays every 15 min, live reindeer. The music that is playing, the warming huts, the food hot apple cidar, hot cocoa, mini doughnuts, pretzels, sugar cookies, gingerbread cookies. Amazing!

I’ve been going to Thanksgiving Point for many years since I’ve lived locally my entire life. They’ve grown the area to become a place that we love to take our family to. It doesn’t matter the time of year to take your family there. Depending on the season they will usually have a different event/attraction that you can visit. Always a great place to visit!

We've been coming for a long time with a membership with our kid. Just finished talking to Sarah at the beginning of the museum exhibit in the paleontology lab and we loved the Q&A she was doing. We were able to ask a lot of fun questions and got great answers 👍 wonderful program
Expansive, open-pit copper mine with an overlook and a gift shop, that offers a visitor experience.
AWESOME!!! BIGGEST MINE IN NORTH AMERICA!!! Nice tour bus ride up to the overlook where you can watch the HUGE SHOVELS AND TRUCKS move MASSIVE quantities of earth ... from a distance of course. FASCINATING and could have stayed for hours. AMAZING what men (and women) and these machines can create, and don't forget to look up images and descriptions of the HUGE LANDSLIDE that took place a few years back. ABSOLUTELY FASCINATING.

Consider this review from the perspective of someone who is trying to find interesting attractions and sites to visit, but has no particular enthusiasm in the mining industry.
Visiting this mine was an okay excursion. At $6 per person, it was one of the cheaper things we did on our trip. However, you are just driven in a bus to a viewing platform. There are some information panels, but the main draw is the vast mine. You don’t get to venture around much, as this is an operating mine after all. Having visited, I would say that if it is along your route, it might be an intriguing detour. I don’t think I would drive out here specifically, though.
Be warned that you should arrive with time to spare. The bus driver was strict with the departure time. As we were all waiting inside the bus to leave for the mine, we saw a car zooming up into the parking lot. The bus driver started going as the person got out of their car to wave, hoping that the bus would stop, but we kept on going. I highly doubt the driver didn’t see this person because those on the left side of the bus were making comments about what was happening.

The most amazing big hole in the ground. Massive trucks look like toy cars at the bottom of the open cast mine. One of few man made things you can see on earth from the space station. Always wanted to go, wasn't disappointed.

This was the best part of our trip. Such beauty and brains behind the mining techniques.

Visiting this mine was a $6 well spent. The self-guided tour was educational and it was fun to lose all sense of space and time while gazing into a massive pit. Take your date there!
Caitlin Callas — Google review
As of April 2019, you can now go inside the copper mine pit. From 2013 to early 2019, visitors were not allowed inside the pit due to a landslide that destroyed the visitor overlook area. A new visitor overlook has been built and April 1 to October 31 you can go inside the mine.
BE ADVISED:
...The visitor center isn't fully built out yet and currently there's just a small gift shop and a two-level scenic overlook of the pit with a few pieces of equipment on display. Plans are to add more exhibits, displays, possibly a visitor center building of some kind in the years to come. Right now it's really a bare-bones visitor experience and everything at the overlook is outdoors. It feels kinda half-baked, as far as tourist attractions go. But remember it just barely opened up and they're still in the process of building it out. This is just "phase one" of a three phase plan. The pit is very impressive, but the visitor experience definitely feels underdeveloped at this point.
THE OLD VISITOR CENTER:
For those who visited prior to the 2013 landslide you will remember there was a visitor center with a museum and a theater with a 15 minute movie that explained the whole process. That is no longer there. There is no museum, no theater/movie. The current gift shop is about half as big as the previous one and is located not at the overlook but down in the valley at the bottom of the road.
SELF-GUIDED, LITTLE INFO
This is a completely self-guided experience that is very much lacking in things to help you interpret what is going on. You're mostly just left to look at the hole and some equipment, without knowing how any of it works or the amazing history behind this century-old mine. There is a security guard or two on site and they sometimes try to act like they know what they're talking about but the information they provide is inaccurate and they don't have much to say. Their job is to make sure nobody jumps in the hole or has a heart attack. They are not docents/guides...at all. FYI, reservations are required, you buy tickets online and they charge per person, no refunds. Weather is a big factor as they will cancel at last minute if it's raining. You wouldn't want to be up there in the rain anyway, you wouldn't be able to see anything as it's in the mountains and clouds block the view...and it's all outdoors. Fortunately there are very few rainy days late May through October (April is a very rainy month for SLC).
GUIDED TOURS AVAILABLE
There are some sightseeing bus tour companies that do fully narrated, guided tours departing from downtown, 3 recommendations: City Sights, Tours of Utah, and Attraction Explorers. You can drive yourself to the mine and pay a per-person entrance fee and do your own self-guided visit, which locals and families would probably choose to do and in a few years when the visitor center is built out then it will be a much better self-guided experience. But if you're from out of town, you're only going to be in Utah once, the sightseeing bus tour is worth the money because the tour companies narrate everything, explain what everything is, give you history, stories and facts/trivia that you otherwise would have no way of knowing. Without the guided tour, you save some money but you'd just show up and look around for 10 minutes, take some photos and feel like it was kind of a half-baked experience...left with the sentiment of "Cool...but what's the big deal? It's just a big hole??"

I am so happy this is open again! It is STUNNING. Just viewing its grandeur is incredible. The bus drivers and security were very friendly and outgoing. The views were awesome! We spent about 45 minutes at the top and I could have stayed there all day. We bought tickets online. We were easily able to catch a bus and it took us right to the top. The bus driver on the way down was particularly chatty and very helpful. She answered so many of my questions and gave us so many fun facts. I took my six-year-old and three-year-old and we all had a great time.

Quite the impressive mining facility!!
Found out out that the large hauling trucks cost 5 Million Dollars and the loaded trucks weigh 1.2 Million Pounds!!

This was back when they didn't allow visitors into the mine and they had a temporary visitor center. This is a pretty impressive sight, definitely worth stopping over. It is the biggest copper mine in the world. The statistics about the mine are just astounding. They pull 400,000 tons from the mine....daily. Thus far since 1905, it has yielded 17 million tons of copper, 23 million ounces of gold and 190 million ounces of silver.
Rolf Shmidt — Google review
very neat. you are shuttled to the rim of the mine and look down into it. you can see and learn about huge dump trucks and how they extract then refine copper.
Derek Brown — Google review
Pretty cool mine outside Salt Lake City. The size is big, and apparently it’s also one of the very few things visible from space. You purchase a ticket to shuttle up to the top, and it’s a self-guided tour then. Expect to spend about an hour to an hour & half.

It’s about the 120,000 Japanese-Americans, who were forcibly relocated to Topaz, UT with only three days notice. Two short films in little theatre and a large museum in back with authentic dwelling. I’d put aside 1-2hrs but if you don’t have that time at least watch the videos (10min each). Truly impressive museum!! The hidden gem that’s not about gems. Free but donate at least $1.

I chased the 2023 eclipse to Meadows Utah and stopped in at the Topaz Museum in Delta afterward. Recently I read a memoir by Charles Innouye, a son of Japanese Buddhists who were interred at Topaz. Charles is a professor of Japanese literature at Tufts, and writes compellingly about the impact of his family's experiences, including Topaz, on his development. The museum is housed in a nicely designed building on Delta's Main Street. They probably had their busiest day of the decade with eclipsers but were professional, informed and engaging. The films and the excellent exhibits provided a good background for understanding life at Topaz, though the site itself has no historic infrastructure left. Understanding the impact on the residents begins with some of the artwork in the museum collection, but there are also excellent books available for purchase that will provide a richer interpretation of the place. Worth the drive if you are in Central Utah.

This was a fantastic museum, I wish I had more time to look at all of the exhibits and artifacts and read all the placards. You be surprised the amount of knowledge and history in this little museum! And it serves as a great memorial to those citizens who are forced to settle in the city of topaz as Japanese internees during World War II.

Thank you for doing such an amazing job to honor such amazing people who experiences such hardship.

This museum is very nice and well done. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable on the topic of those Americans that were forced to leave their homes and livelihoods on the west coast for several years to remote places in the United States because of their Japanese descent during WWII. This museum and the remains of the interm camp 15 miles west (picture) are stark reminders of how prejudice, unchecked, can even violate our own constitution and Bill of Rights. I love my home state of Utah and I love the desert, but the location of the camp is a hostile environment. I could not imagine being ripped from my home, my neighbors, my personal business, with thousands of other people that "look" like me, a citizen of the United States of America, and placed in this God forsaken location. Teach our children and their children about history or it will be repeated.

Very pleasant surprise while passing through Delta, Utah. My first thought as I drove by was that this might be a museum dedicated to the local geology of the area, since Topaz Mountain is nearby and people still look for Topaz rocks there. Boy was I wrong.
I learned very quickly that this museum is dedicated to the treatment and housing of over 11,000 Japanese citizens at the Topaz Japanese American Internment Camp just a few miles outside of Delta during World War 2. It was an eye-opening experience.
I appreciate the staff who directed us first to two short films that gave an introduction to the Topaz camp. After that, we were able to spend considerable time walking around the beautiful museum, taking pictures, and reading as much information as we could from the various signs and placards. The message was clear: This camp, and the others just like it, violated the civil rights of the people it housed. At Topaz, at least one detainee was shot and killed as he tried to escape. Others suffered through unimaginable conditions after being forced to leave their homes in the Bay Area of California.
Later, we were invited to go out to the actual site of the camp. I must thank our tour guide (Scott) who drove the lead vehicle as we took our vehicles in a caravan out to the site. We were able to listen on our phones as Scott spoke and directed us to where we were going.
Scott provided very insightful comments and clear knowledge of what actually happened at the camp and the conditions the detainees faced during their time at Topaz. In addition to the wind and blowing sand, he made sure we realized just how cold it got in the winter and how hot it got during the summer. Of course, there was no air conditioning out in the brutal desert. I believe Scott communicated the brutality and the desperation quite effectively.
It was also interesting during the tour to see some of the re-constructed houses (and portions of the hospital) that are now relocated to Delta. I truly enjoyed my experience at Topaz Museum.

Wonderful details of a tragic history we have here at Topaz museum. I highly recommend the tour at the interment camp as well. You’ll need a reservation if there are groups of 10 or more but there is a sad history we need to learn about our past and the staff here does a wonderful job.

I was shocked when I visited the Topaz Museum at HOW AMAZING IT WAS!!! I grew up in Millard Co, but didn’t know much about the Japanese internment that happened here. The museum and the volunteers who helped there taught me so much! Visiting the actual site was interesting too, but the museum is where the real experience lies.
Eagle Point Resort is a cozy ski destination that boasts challenging black diamond runs and scenic tree-lined trails. The on-site lodging provides convenient accommodation for guests. Despite being a small mom and pop ski area, the resort offers excellent food, drinks, and service. Its layout can be a bit confusing initially, but it separates beginner/intermediate skiing from intermediate/advanced areas. Even on busy days like Saturdays, Eagle Point Resort is not crowded.
Amazing getaway. Took my young family on the most amazing ski trip. My wife and children are beginners and this is one of the best places to learn. No lift lines to wait in and the slopes are not crowded. The other side of the resort has some really nice black diamond slopes that I thoroughly enjoyed. Would be a fun place to get away to in the summer for some four wheeling or mountain biking.

So quiet and relaxing. We arrived Labor Day 09/04/2023.
the room had everything except food and your clothing. Very big and spacious. Saw so many chipmunks everywhere and saw deer the first night from the balcony. We were in snowflake 31 and it was perfect ground floor entrance but still had a balcony. Puffer Lake is close and plan on driving down to relax. Google says the highway 153 is closed but it is not. Bring a light jacket it does get chilly. Go stargazing you will be amazed at the amount of stars you can see at night.

My kids and I had an unpleasant experience at the top of the skyline lift yesterday. I’ve sat with this deciding whether to review and decided it’s important the resort is made aware for safety and training purposes of the employees.
I’m an avid boarder and have loved teaching my kids the skills. This time one of my children decided they wanted to learn to Ski. After several successful runs down the bunny hill I took him and my snowboarding daughter down glacier glade, leaving my board up top so I could be as helpful as possible to my son. When we reached the bottom my son was exhausted and didn’t want to ride the lift. Fortunately some kind employees offered (were not asked) to take us both up on the snowmobiles and my daughter would ride the lift and dismount on her own. For the first time.
When reaching the top one of the employees instructed me to tell the employee in the ski lift hut to slow down chair 13 so she could comfortably and safely get off. Up to this point the experience was great with zero complaints.
At around 3pm on March 9th, as instructed I walked the short path to the skyline lift hut and as I did an older gentleman with a white beard came out of the hut and began approaching me, I do feel it’s important to note that this man had a strong stench of alcohol..
As he began approaching me he asked me what I was doing in a condescending tone. I tried to explain what had happened and to please slow down lift 13 so I could help my young daughter. He began berating me and yelling telling me to get away from the hut and I could not be there, disregarding any notion that he had heard me. I stepped back so I could be further from the hut, but still within earshot and again repeated to please slow down lift 13 my daughter would be riding alone and needed it slowed down so she could get off easier. Again ignoring what I said he continually told me I could not be by the hut.
Please note that I never stepped foot near the controls or near the skyline lift hut. I was only on the snow pathway to the hut. At least 10 feet from the hut.
Acknowledging that he was not going to listen to me I turned away. Then he yelled at me as I walked away for having attitude, which I certainly did not. Concern for my daughter and frustration at being yelled at yes, attitude no. I turned around briefly to reiterate that I had only approached the hut to have him slow down chair 13 but because he wouldn’t acknowledge me, the conversation was over.
Eagle point as a seasoned boarder, I have never been treated in such a poor regard and felt concerned at your resort in the past or any other resort in Utah.
If there is a rule at your resort not to approach the ski huts please post signs educating skiers of your rule, again it’s never been a concern at any other resort I have been to.
Lastly I truly hope that drug and alcohol testing is completed for employees especially those that have a task as important as controlling ski lifts.

Unexpected gem!! Even after weeks of no snow, the conditions were surprisingly great! The food, drinks and service were just one more amazement that we didn’t expect for such a small mom & pop ski area. We skied all day and still didn’t get to all the runs.
The layout is a bit confusing at first and parking signage could be improved, but it was nice to have separation between beginner/intermediate skiing vs intermediate/advanced areas. Even on a Saturday it was not busy at all! We WILL go back!

It was fun to visit Eagle Point Resort with my family. We had never been here before and enjoyed exploring. We learned it used to be two separate resorts, which explains the tunnel crossing the road to connect the two. There are two lifts on the upper part and three lifts on the lower. The terrain is diverse with plenty of snow coverage. We enjoyed easy runs, as well as intermediate, advanced, and a terrain park. The staff was helpful and friendly. Not hard to get to, just 30 minutes up the canyon from Beaver, Utah. It's a good price for some family friendly outdoor fun. I highly recommend giving this resort a try a and staying slope side. Eagle Point Resort is in a beautiful place in the forest!

I'm a local and have loved this resort for many years but the past couple years I've been very disappointed between lifts not open or countless problems for most of the season, many times we would wait well over an hour+ after the open time before they even opened the black lifts, not to mention the wait for the shuttle when you're done for the day, and the ski patrol from previous years are ridiculous, seem to never want to see anyone having a good time. Looks like I'm going to Brian Head not going to wait anymore for my hometown resort to fix the problems everyone has wanted fixed

This a small resort with great local people running the resort. It is not a high end resort, but you can't beat the prices. We love the Holly Ridge Bears condo and will definitely come back again.

My husband and I came here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. We didn't stay the night here, but we did take advantage of the slopes for the day. Im one to read through reviews before I visit a new place to compare and see if reviews are accurate once I'm there. We loved the slopes! It's definitely nice to ride through trees. There are a lot fewer people than in brian head, which is a huge plus, in my opinion. The food there was surprisingly super yummy at their lodge near the beginner & intermediate routes. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because its super obvious that this resort doesn't invest their money into the resort equipment itself. The lodge feels more like an old cafeteria, and every ski lift was sun faded and had large rips in the seats. If they did invest their money in these two areas, I'd love this place even more. Overall, would recommend!

First time back skiing in ages and this place is fantastic.
1. Accommodations
we stayed in the snowflake condos near the bottom of the resort. It was very comfortable but a little messy when we first got there. nothing terrible but the cleaning crew definitely didn't do anything more than change the sheets. As far as getting to and from the condo getting up to the top of the resort was a long wait as they had only two shuttles running and one was very small. Getting back to the condo can all be done on skis though which is fantastic and very convenient.
2. The Slopes
this place is a hidden gem as far as quality to visitor ratio goes. It's not as big as some other resorts but it has a lot of high quality runs and it is way less crowded than places like park city. My only complaint about the slopes was that the lift on the beginner slopes was very slow and only allowed people to take one of every three chairs so trips back up the hill were excruciatingly slow. Once our beginners were confident enough to go on the intermediate slopes though we had a blast and the other lifts were much faster.
+bonus some of the runs have side paths that are groomed but more difficult to find and ski. fun little hidden challenges all over.
overall a great place to ski especially if you want to avoid the big crowds of other resorts.

This review is really about the accommodations We stayed in, not the resort as a whole,. We stayed in snowflake condos number 31. The place was a dump! cleaning had been done haphazardly, the bathroom and kitchen were clean, however the room had not been vacuumed. There was debris on the floor and crumbs on the table. In addition, the furnishings of the condo look like they were from a yard sale in the 1960s. The bed was the worst we've ever slept on. The cold water did not work in the kitchen. The refrigerator froze everything even though the setting was at 77 degrees on the refrigerator. The entire room looked like a crash pad for a bunch of broke college guys. Do not stay here... at least in this room! You will be sorry.

My wife and I go enjoy eagle point a coupe times a year but never during ski season, we do not ski. We like to go up during summer and especially in the fall when the colors are at their peak. We stay in the Canyon side collection and its always been great. One time when we checked in the young man who helped us gave us his personal cell phone in case we needed anything. Knowing the restaurant is closed during the summer and fall when we go, we always plan ahead and cook inside the condo. The kitchen is well furnished, as is the rest of the condo. The staff has always been very friendly. We can't wait to come back Fall 2024 for the spectacular color up there. See you soon Eagle point!

My daughter and I came down on 2/22/2024 for a ski trip.
While we thoroughly enjoyed the skiing, there were some things I wish were improved upon in both the lodging and the food establishments.
We ate at the Skyline Lodge, but they were out of a lot of food. No chili, no pretzels, no meatball sandwiches (which sounded yummy), (most crucially for my daughter) no hot chocolate, and (most crucially for me) no mustard for my hotdog. Had a burger.
We stayed at Wooded Ridge 11. It had 1 bedroom with a king bed. It had a smart tv/dvd/vcr with a selection of movies. It was stocked with a few games. There was wifi. The unit had 3 electric heaters (one in the bathroom, bedroom, and main room) and a fireplace for heating. There was firewood provided out the front door, but I couldn't find an axe to chop wood into kindling or any kind of kindling to get the fire started. (I wish I had known to bring my axe) That left just the electric heaters. When we arrived we cranked them up from the freeze protection setting to max. Unfortunately, these didn't do a good job of getting the place up to warm temperatures. By morning, the bedroom had gotten to warm, but the main room one never did get it to a warm temperature. (and since we couldn't get a fire going, we were cold). I would appreciate if the staff could turn the electric heaters on before arrival so you don't show up to an ice box. Next time, I think I'll stay in Beaver and drive up in the morning.
The skiing was great. My daughter loved all of the runs off of the Monarch Triple Chair. Nice blues that weren't too steep. I loved the powder runs off of the Lookout Quad chair. The people running the lifts were friendly and nice. My only other critique about the skiing is that it required a shuttle to get from the lower areas back up to the upper areas. This is something though they have plans to address by adding a lift in a few years.

We really enjoyed the Creamery. The food, ambiance, and location were really nice. We ate a breakfast sandwich and then hung out for an hour learning how to make cheese and enjoying the patio until lunch was served at 11. It got really busy really quick at 11 but we can see why. I really enjoyed the braised short rib grilled cheese and my wife loved her avocado bacon cheddar sandwich. We both loved the fries. I also love they give you a pickle too. The sweet tea was mildly sweet and my only complaint was that some of the employees seemed burnt out or tired but that can be attributed to a lot of items so I do not knock off stars for that. All in all it was a great experience and we suggest it.

The food was incredible!
From the lunch menu we chose the Avocado bacon cheddar grilled cheese with tomato soup that we used to dip our sandwiches in. It’s was AMAZING and mouth watering.
As a side we got the bacon macaroni and that was delicious too! Super creamy and very filling!
The atmosphere is great and has a fun vibe! Love the farm house/rustic look and yet classy as well.
They offer plenty of outside space to enjoy the weather and have a “picnic” while enjoying some amazing food.
Overall it was a great experience and the food was delicious! It was a little spendy. I paid $25 for a cup of soup and a sandwich with fries! Again when it comes to unique places the food and the unique experience makes it all worth it!

The ice cream was good and I can’t wait to try the whipped honey I got. 😋 fun stun for the kids to play with. Little gifts and this to buy all throughout the store. People were friendly just as you would expect from a small town. Thanks guys. 👍👍

Stopped for the first time to see what it’s all about after driving by several times a year. The food was great! Pictures fail to show the restaurant part of the Creamery, so here’s my.10¢ worth-
The line was VERY long but seemed to move steadily. The business is busy and hopping with passersby. I recommend the avocado bacon grilled cheese and the tomato & spinach Mac&cheese (it tasted even better cold) and the buffalo cauliflower!
They definitely need MORE sitting area, at least during the cooler winter weather. People were standing around to grab a table the second someone stood up. I’ll definitely be going back though.

Delicious! Our family stopped here on our way home from St. George. We love the creamery! The avocado bacon grilled cheese sandwich is SOOO good! I highly recommend! Their ice cream is great too but I’m not a huge ice cream lover so I come for the yummy sandwiches. My kids and husband love the ice cream though.
If you’re looking for great-tasting cheese, candy, souvenirs and other fun items, they also have those.
Just a warning- if you get there around lunchtime, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a spot to sit down at inside (but there is seating outside also!). It’s packed! We got there when it was so busy but by the time we left about an hour later, it had calmed down quite a bit.

On my way to Salt Lake City on the side of the freeway, this building catches your attention!!! It's worth the stop; they have food, snacks, homemade ice cream and clean RESTROOMS!!!!! I was amazed with their variety of cheeses and jelly jams of different flavors. Their ice cream has a really good taste and a buttery touch. Their food is really good, but I was not so happy with their flat breads; it didn't tasted fresh. There's not a direct exit from the freeway to get here, you will have to go through town to get to this place. Their history is interesting.

The Creamery is one of the best road trip stops along I-15 in southern Utah. Seriously. We have PLANNED road trips around when the creamery would be open - it's that good. Clean bathrooms, a play area for kids, a cute market filled with local goodies and my favorite part - the café. My husband and I always get the bacon avocado grilled cheese sandwich to split and a small size of fried cheese curds. Nice portioned sandwich and comes with amazing french fries or a fruit cup. Both are great options. The cheese curds are the perfect nuggets of happiness and I recommend the honey mustard to go with them! You won't regret stopping here on your drive :)

We stopped and got the Mac and cheese and cheese curd pizza.
The Mac and cheese is made fresh with curly noodles. The cheese sauce is creamy.
They have Mac and cheese with tomatoes and chicken too
Fun place to stop with shopping and a fun kids play area. Also they have amazing ice cream.
Last time I got a chicken sandwich and it was super yummy.
Great when you want a break from fast food and some area to explore.
They have a lot of great home decor and really cool artisan foods.

Stopped by for ice cream. Coconut castaway was beautiful. Had chocolate bites size chunks and almonds. Scoop size were huge, one scoop was plenty. My son had the rocky road and he loved it.
Ice cream definitely creamy smooth.
Fun place to stop by between Salt Lake City and St George.

After driving past this place several dozen times, finally got a chance to check it out!
You have to drive through a small town to get here as there’s no direct route from the Freeway.
Didn’t try their cheese or kitchen offering but did have some ice cream which was pretty flavorful and creamy! One of the better I’ve had.
Can’t wait to come back and try something from their kitchen!

We'd never been here before and came with some friends, my girls had such a good time looking at everything, they loved the activity room and seeing a giant cow named Lily. There were lots of yummy ice cream choices to finish off the visit, and not too expensive for the amount they give you! 😋 There's also a restaurant and, although we didn't eat there this trip, the personal pizzas you can order there look pretty good, as well as some other selections for lunch. Thank you for a great time! We'll be back to try some more ice cream flavors! 🍧🍨🍦

We had lots of fun visiting The Creamery.
They have a gift shop, ice cream and sandwich shop. Which we’re both delicious I most say. You can enjoy your food in their outside patio with very comfortable sets.
They have an Area for kids to play games and watch videos about the creamery.
The building is very clean and in great condition as well as the restrooms.

When passing through Beaver, UT the Creamery is a must stop and well worth the stop. The food is incredible - no matter what you order you will be satisfied. Don't forget to get some ice cream on the way out. It was well worth breaking my diet.

Ice cream shake was a 10/10. Cheese curds were also fantastic. Brought back memories of my grandparents bringing some whenever they came through to visit. Loved the shopping in the creamery. The whole atmosphere is great! Family friendly.

Stopped here for Lunch and some ice cream while coming back from Southern Utah. Very pleased with the quality of food and the portions for the cost. Price seemed a little high but it is not with the taste and quantity of food that you get. Also very family friendly and educational for those who don't know about dairies.

This may seem like a bad review, but not really intended to be so. I am from MN, near WI, so I'm pretty tough on cheese.
The building is amazing, they really nailed an upscale place. That being said, getting there from the interstate was a little odd. This town, with the help of the creamery, could be a great boom town for arts and crafts. In the process they need to make a direct route to the creamery.
As for the cheese, I'm giving that a low rating. We purchased a variety pack and a block of Colby jack. All of the items were a little dry and flavorless. Nothing had a wow factor.
This was not a one time trial. My wife and I ate the products multiple times and had the same opinion each time. It's hard to say what is missing. Maybe some salt, possibly longer aging or the need to get the aging room "aged" to increase the number and types of bacteria to help bring out the flavors.
Good luck to these guys. I really hope this improves and turns into a greater regional product.
BTW, my wife had a grilled cheese and soup at the store, she said it was amazing.

Great spot. Busy as always especially on a Friday afternoon. The staff is really nice and friendly. They told us about their favorite ice cream flavors and cheeses. If you go in the front door and go to the left, there is hardly any line at all if you’re just getting ice cream and you can also checkout at that side with most of the items from the store except some of the specialty packed cheeses. Saves a lot of time as the main line is usually quite the wait. It’s a great option to get out and stretch your legs as a half way point between Salt Lake City and Las Vegas if you’re traveling as a group or family with small kids.

The Creamery is a good place to eat with a few items to choose from and a decent cheese selection. The line was long when we visited for both food and ice cream so sadly we did not get ice cream. The grilled cheese with braised meat was good. The fries were OK. The chicken Caesar salad was good and had a lot of chicken. The chicken tomato Mac and cheese was well sized and my son loved it. We also got the green onion and jalapeno cheese curds which both had great flavor but on the smaller size of pieces. Would eat here again and worth a visit.

Best ice cream in 150 miles either way.
Great friendly service for lunch or just a scoop. Fun friendly place if your looking for a place with the family. Dog friendly exterior with lots of parking. ADA access at all entrances. Clean and fresh restrooms fully stocked and serviced.

We were here before 6pm on Friday.
My overall disappointment is regarding how dirty and understaffed this establishment seemed to be.
Drove by here on a road trip last year but we did not stop. Was thrilled to have it as an option this year. Was not worth the wait.
We’re not able to order cheese curds… interesting how a creamy runs out of that but ok.
Cheese Curd flat bread was good.
Short rib nachos were good.
Bacon Macaroni and cheese 0 stars - was the most underwhelming Mac n cheese and the sauce was gritty. I thought this would have been the best ever but sorely disappointed.
There was no staff attending the dining area, it was dirty and disheveled and we had to clean off a table with napkins.
We had noticed how the ice cream line was crazy long backing all the way into the shopping area. Thinking it must be that good we should try it since we were there. While we were in line there was 50 people in line and ONE STAFF MEMBER scooping ice cream. He was maybe 16 and looked miserable which is understandable. This line had anywhere from 50-80 people in it.
So we wait for ice cream, we go outside to eat it and it was FILTHY. Tables and grounds covered in debris and old ice cream. Regret not taking more photos.

Fun place to take the family. Nice menu in the restaurant with sandwiches, pizza, nachos etc. Nice gift shop with a large variety of foods and clothes and hats. Even have a play area for kids to stay busy while you are waiting for the food to be prepared. Pleanty of tables for dining inside and out.
The Navajo Loop Trail is a 1.3-mile seasonal loop that offers breathtaking views of Thor's Hammer and other rock formations. It is a moderate trail that can be part of a loop hike with Queen's Garden or Peek-A-Boo, depending on closures due to rock falls. The trail can be hiked in either direction, offering different experiences based on lighting conditions and preferences for ascending or descending the Navajo switchbacks.
If your not a huge hiker, at least do this small loop. It drowns you in the beauty of the park.
travis higley — Google review
This hike is absolutely stunning! The switchbacks on the way back up will probably kill you but it's worth it! Just take it slow if you need to
Kiersten Hayes — Google review
Navajo Loop Trail is moderate in length and difficulty, but it really packs an incredible amount of amazing scenery in a relatively short amount of time.
It is best done as part of a loop hike with Queen's Garden or Peek-A-Boo (if it isn't closed because of rock falls). The loop is doable in either direction (I started at Queen's Garden and ended at Navajo) so which way is best depends on either lighting conditions or whether you want to take the Navajo switchbacks on the way down or up. Nearly impossible to get lost and you will have a lot of people on the trail with you at all times, but it is still a really enjoyable hike. Highly recommended

For me, that I live an elevation of 261, it was hard to returne up, this is 7000 in altitude, but was worth it, is beautiful. Do it slowly and rest if you feel fatigued.

We just hiked the Navajo Loop on 6.20.22 with our kids, a 5 year old and an 8 year old. I've read about this trail being easy for kids. The boys did fine for the most of it. We went down the two bridges side and came up on the wall street side. Make sure to wear hiking boots! It's very important. The road at the top has a drop off on one side and the road itself is slippery. There were a lot of people who had to turn back right at the beginning because the bottoms of their shoes were too flat and they were slipping and falling. At the same time I saw a lady at the bottom of the trail in flip flops 🤯😅. Next time I'd get us all walking sticks as well. There are switchbacks on the way down and up. There are some shade areas for rest and a snack. Bring lots of water. We had 2 water bottles per person and it was only 71 degrees on that day. You definitely need a sunscreen. The whole trail took us an hour and a half with frequent stops for the kids. Without kids you can easily finish it in an hour. Our kids did just fine, also they were slightly out of breath after the wall street part on the way up. There are picnic tables and restrooms at the Sunset point. The Inspiration point and Bryce point are just down the road. It's $35 to get into the park, unless you have an annual pass. The shuttle runs in the park. We are excited to go back.

This is a fun, fairly short trail. You basically go down one side, and up the other. I was a little worried about how steep it looked and taking my 2 kids on it, but they did great and it wasn't that bad if you take your time. Lots of pretty views. The Navajo loop trail isn't marked very well itself, but just go down the right side (the switchbacks) and stay left and you'll come back up the other side (the left side) from when you first come down from the parking area.

Hiked the first half of the Navajo Trail beginning to the right. Took the small connector trail to peekaboo up to the arch and back and finished off the Navajo Trail on the backside. This Hike was just enough of a challenge. It offered great views. Halfway through our hike we had a rain shower and what was a slight drawback turned out to be one of the most beautiful double rainbows I have ever seen. I recommend doing this hike in a counterclockwise loop because the views at the end are well worth it. Also I recommend doing this hike in the evening as we finished the hike around 8 PM and the sun made the hoodoo formations look amazing.

Best trail with breathtaking views. I was double minded to go for hiking during snow but it was 1000% worth it. Snow made it even more beautiful.
Ratheesh Kumar — Google review
An amazing hike, not too difficult until you need to go back uphill. Remember to bring some water.
Jonathan Feng — Google review
Great way to descend into the hoodoos and really experience the park. Then loop back on Wall Street to make it a loop. If it is winter or icy make sure to bring traction devices
Was totally bummed that the Wall Street section of the amphitheater was closed by the time I arrived to the park (first week of November). I would have loved to hike through it, but the best I could do given the closure was take a few photos from the area just before the closure.
The Navajo Loop was still open and it was incredible, so not being able to do the Wall Street section as well was at most a minor disappointment. If it's open by the time you arrive here, do it. It looks incredible from above
Gunnar Caya — Google review
Amazing, absolutely brilliant section! A must-do, must-hike.
The Navajo loop trail is not very long, but has a steep descend and climb on the beginning/end. Bring lots of water, hiking shoes. It can be very hot.
I'd give it more than 5 stars, if I could!

Bryce Canyon overall is my favorite park! It's so incredibly beautiful, and Wall Street Trail is such a unique and fun trail to experience. You zig zag down the easy trail until you reach the bottom of the canyon. Our group included 7 kids ranging in ages from 4-14 and everyone made the hike easily. You have to check this place out!

Excellent views of the hoodoos!
We hiked the Navajo Loop to Peekaboo to Wall Street combination, in a figure 8, which totaled 4.9 miles. We completed it in 3-4 hours. The combination took us up and down hoodoos about 4 times. I would characterize this combination hike as strenuous due to the elevation changes, some of which are rather steep. The trail is wide so there is plenty of room to hike. I would not recommend bringing very young children on this trail. Bring plenty of water!
Karen — Google review
Navajo Loop and Queens Garden trail are surely very nice and impressive, especially the wall section. However, be prepared for the crowds as this trail is heavily visited. Also, you can of course only walk a short part of the trail, but right from the start you go down and you will have to get up again. We saw a lot of people who were sitting in a tiny peace of shade and looking completely exhausted. Make sure you have average fitness, a hat and sufficient water. I preferred fairyland loop, which is long but way less crowded.

Amazing trail that connects Sunset Point to the Navajo Loop and Queens Garden Trail. Highly recommended to take this route if your able to (this is a steep uphill zig-zag climb that has many stairs). Also highly recommended to check the National Park website for info on what supplys to bring (plenty of water, proper clothing, etc).

I did the Navajo loop trail and Wall Street on the first snowfall day in November 2019.
What a scenic winter wonderland it was!
The beautiful hoodoos covered in a snow jacket was just indescribably magical.
The combination of the altitude, the cold and the intensive hike made me feel exhausted pretty fast. But just took my time and enjoyed the beautiful setting.

We did the Queen-Navajo Loop and it was moderate and super long. The trail is downwards, levels then a lot of uphill whichever way you start or return. But it was well worth it. I wanted nothing more to do this trail as I saw it in a lot of popular media and so glad I got to experience this journey. The winding road going down which is the Navajo part is a lot easier than what it looks. 1000x recommend this trail

Really nice!!!
A hike of medium difficulty due to the height gained in a short distance, which can make the route a bit heavy.
The view is very good because of the colors on the walls.
It is important to carry hydration and walk carefully and attentively on the road.

Magic trail, bring water, comfortable closed toe shoes, snacks and sunscreen. Great hike for kids, very exciting experience of going down the stairs, climbing over and under rocks. Do not embark if you have bad knees, lots of stairs and up and down walking here. Breathtaking views of the canyon, adjacent to two Bridges trails

Navajo Loop Trail, Bryce Canyon City, UT 84764, USA
Bryce Point is a well-known location in the Bryce Canyon National Park that provides a panoramic view of the amphitheater. It is an ideal spot for capturing stunning photos during sunrise and sunset. To get the best view, visitors can hike along the rim trail for about a mile without any obstructions. The area boasts numerous limestone hoodoos, some of which are larger and more robust than others, giving them an appearance as though they were coated with concrete.
Gorgeous views from Bryce Point! I have seen it twice now, once in December and once in January. In January there was some snow on trails below and in shady locations at the base on the canyon. One of my favorite views at Bryce. This viewpoint looks down on the Peek-a-boo Trail.

Bryce Canyon national park is a unique and iconic place to visit that displays what nature forces can do with the sandstone monolith given enough time. Size wise Bryce Canyon is not as impressive as the Grand Canyon or even Zion Canyon but if you're around definitely worth visiting.

A very scenic place to visit with incredible views. If you come in the winter be prepared for some serious cold winds and dress in layers. I think it was -15 with wind chill due a storm when I passed through. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and don't mind the cold.

Incredible place with incredible views! The entire canyon is amazing, but Bryce Point was one of my favorite spots. I'm glad we didn't know that we could "cheat" and hike down to point from the parking overlook on the backside of the canyon. Instead, we earned it by hiking up several thousand feet from the canyon floor after hiking the canyon all day. Totally worth it!
Just Sturgis — Google review
A short walk from the parking lot, you go out onto a peninsula with views on. three directions down into the canyon. You can see caves, hoodoos, distant mountains, and more. This is a unique perspective in the park - you feel suspended above the canyon. The point has railing - but as in all parts of Bryce Canyon, keep a close eye on young children.
Frank Patranella — Google review
One of the most epic of the national parks. Tons of hikes and lots of vista point road stops. Unlike nearby Zion, can drive the whole way through, don't need to hassle with shuttle. Mars-like surreal scenery! It's a must bucket list for national park goers and anyone visiting Utah.

Bryce Canyon is a special park that is much different than others and stands out because of the geological forms called Hoodoo's. The park has much to see from up top as you can drive the 19 miles to many of the scenic overlooks or take a shuttle from many points in and out of the park. If hiking is your choice Bryce does not disappoint, the trails here can be challenging and rewarding as they put you into the canyon amongst the hoodoos. The park is very bike friendly with pave bike paths throughout the park and outside the park.
Tim Liponoga — Google review
This place is amazing! A nice easy walk for an incredible view of the beautiful red rock hoodoos. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Bryce Canyon. If the parking lot is full, they'll send you back down and you'll have to take the shuttle up which isn't bad - they usually have a sign if the lot is full so you can know from the main road turnoff. The views are absolutely breathtaking.

While most people run to Sunset Point in Bryce Canyon, we decided to ask the park rangers where the best spot for sunset is in Bryce Canyon and 2 of them recommended Bryce Point. Let's just say, it did NOT disappoint!

Bryce Point is one of the best view points n in side the Bryce Canyon. The parking is limited as other view points in the park, but since the walk to the view point is pretty short, visitors come and go fast, so I would suggest to wait a bit around the entrance. The walk is easy and short, and the view is magnificent. In late November, taking photos in the morning might be better since the sunshine will be more evenly distributed across the canyon. Lower Inspiration Point is a picturesque location situated on steep cliffs with unobstructed views of the main amphitheater in Bryce Canyon. The area consists of three viewing levels that offer slightly different perspectives of the canyon and its unique hoodoos formations. Visitors are advised to exercise caution as they hike along the rim trail, which runs parallel to a steep cliff with crumbling rocks. Access to this area is limited to designated pathways, and railings have been placed for safety reasons due to the hazardous drops.
The short (but steep) walk to the viewpoint is worth the expansive vistas. This was one of my favorite spots in the park. You can see for miles in the distance, and it is stunning.

These national parks are best viewed and visited by motorcycle. Bryce Canyon is no exception. The parking is crowded and ridiculous at times.

I walked to both inspiration points and all I can say is I’m not sure what exactly was more inspirational about the upper over the lower. It’s a short walk up a hill. The views are amazing. I’m inspired to question the person who kept walking up. Lol. Nice cardio (my heart was slamming a raging beat).

Woke up early to make it here for the sunrise. It was worth every minute of lost sleep. It's absolutely a stunning and unworldly view! The lower is an easy walk and gets a great view of the whole amphitheater.
Skyler Kidd — Google review
This spot is mislabeled on Google Maps, as the actual Bryce Point is further south, near Paria View. This spot is actually Inspiration Point, and in my opinion, it is way better than Bryce Point.
The only viewpoints in the park I experienced similar levels of "wow" were Sunrise and Sunset Points, and these were both more crowded than Inspiration Point. This is an absolute must-see viewpoint in Bryce Canyon
Gunnar Caya — Google review
For me this was one of the prettiest viewpoints. You have a great view over the hoodoos. While the viewpoints are quite busy, we barely met anyone who was walking the rim trail (we went in May). There you have the same view more to yourself. The rim trail is quite flat and easy. You can walk a section and return by bus or vice versa.

Lower inspiration point can get a good view of the canyon, but we would suggest visitors to do a very short hike to the upper inspiration point (5-10 minutes) since the view there is definitely better. Parking is limited, but there’s a shuttle bus stop that visitors can leverage. The road can be a bit icy in late November, so some shoe traction aid would be very helpful. Hiking poles might be optional. (Follow me on IG ➡️ miss_dawang)

Wildlife abounds in Bryce Canyon, and for the short time we were at Bryce Canyon did not see prairie dogs, but did see lots of chipmunks.
There were 4 deer, several airings of crows and 3 of condors. The condor pictures here was circling on updrafts at Inspiration Point.
Super scenes at the top & middle levels - be prepared for an uphill hike - it’s worth it.
Lower level is wheel chair accessible.

Great park! If you only have time for one quick stop you must go to Bryce's point! I recommend you drive the entire road and stop at all the view points. They are all SO different! The Queens garden hike was very cool and not too long.

This place has devastating beauty. It's amazing all the different contrasts in color, rock formations, and skyline. The hikes are fun and range from easy to hard based on your skill level. I highly recommend checking this National Park off your list of things to do/see.

Underrated park. Beautiful out of space scenery. Easy access to viewpoints without much hiking. Saw Sunrise and Sunset Point as well as Inspiration Point which was our favorite. Great to stop by on the way to Zion, Grand Canyon or Arches National Park.

We went during the first week of March and it was beautiful. The snow with the orange colors were so peaceful and bright. The hike was amazing with lots of turns and little tunnels. We used spikes which was a good purchase since it was quite muddy.

Compact, scenic national park featuring unusual rock formations, hiking, camping & more.
One of the places you must see before you die! Not sure if I'd attempt to bring children, the trail is narrow to the end point and even some if the adults doesn't attempt it. Very beautiful views. We found it making our trip and decided to stop on - worth the detour to see.

Cannot recommend this place enough, it's just gorgeous. Fairly easily accessed from the highway, though the drive north gets pretty steep, so keep that in mind if you're in a camper or have a trailer.
I had no idea about this place until I was planning a road trip in the area, and we thought we'd drop by. So glad we did, because it's amazing. Stunning views and a well-laid out road. The visitor center is basically a gift store and bathroom stop.
Alex Demas — Google review
Cedar Breaks is an amazing place to hike. The south side trail takes you to Spectra Point and Rampart Overlook. The visitor center is now closed for reconstruction, and parking is limited. But there were not many people present on a weekday, so there were parking spaces available.
The views of the amphitheater along the trail are amazing. The pine forest, wild flowers and bristlecone pines along the adjacent south hills present a beautiful contrast to the bright red amphitheater.
A warning, however, you are at 10,000 feet elevation, so you may at times find yourself out of breath. So pace yourself, particularly returning from Rampart Overlook and Spectra Point, which has a lot of uphill sections. Just pause a bit and take in the beautiful scenery.
One nice aspect, Cedar Breaks is at about 10,000 feet elevation. So you avoid the excessive heat current being experienced at lower elevations in southern Utah. Still, make sure to take plenty of water.
One of my favorite southern Utah hikes.

Snow!! Yes April 28 and Rd to visitor center and campground is closed, but plowed. We walked on it. A lot of snow up here! 3 ft in places, easy. Beautiful drive up.

This “smaller” National Park is a gem that is often overlooked. Probably one of the most scenic and beautiful parks that I have ever seen with a deep canyon, plenty of hiking trails, and expansive overlooks that are easy to reach from the roadside, or after a short hike.
We arrived at the park on a clear day with plenty of sunshine and the views were absolutely amazing! You could literally see for 40 miles or so, and the mountain ranges all around were visible.
Definitely stop to see this park on a clear day when you are visiting the other more popular parks in Utah!

What a beautiful place. Easy access although due to a current construction the traffic going up there and coming back it was slow. The views are fantastic. Walking trails offer nice views as well. If you love green , fresh and unexpected spots, go here. I would come back and I would recommend this place. So beautiful 😍

Stunning scenery, quick and easy hikes available. Not too far off of the beaten path from Cedar City. It's a small park, so it's easy to do all here in a day, or camp and chill out.

This is a hidden gem. It is an outstanding beauty all its own. There are incredible views everywhere you look. Stunning canyons and hoodoos, meadows, to beautiful overlooks. Critters are very plentiful, Mule Deer, Elk, Trout, and various birds and ground critters. WATCH OUT for the free-range cows and sheep.

Cedar Breaks National Monument. It’s beautiful. The drive is amazing. Views are spectacular and easily accessible. Only a very short walk to the vistas. It was very windy at that elevation. We were standing at over 10,000 feet, it was cool and windy. Be sure to take the time to see this sight - you won’t regret it - BEAUTIFUL! Great views and hiking trails. Doesn't get many visitors even in peak season. Well worth a visit. A small version of Bryce Canyon.

Absolutely breath taking views worth the drive and the fee for the park. There was 3 different points to pull off and take pictures. Plus seen tons of spots to pull off and hike. It was a perfect drive. The staff that we ran into we're very helpful and friendly.

Beautiful views and worth the stop! This was the northview overlook. Cost is not by vehicle, but by person. Ages 16 and up was $10 each.

Such a beautiful place with amazing views. We went and the ranger/visitor centers were closed so we stopped at the overlook and hiked the Bristlecone Trail. It's been about 14 years since I've been and I would love to come back and explore more!

The new visitor center is under construction and will be complete next summer. Photos were taken from different view areas. Early season snow is the white showing in photos. Well worth the time due to fall foliage with fantastic colors.

WOW WOW WOW. You MUST make the trip to see this in person. The drive up was fantastic with many places to see the Breaks from a distance. The views are breathtaking!! There are 3 or so places at the top to park and see overlooks. We visited June 2, 2023 and there was still snow and chilly up top. Definitely an amazing place to see!

I absolutely loved this location. The views were breathtaking and it was so peaceful. It didn't have nearly the traffic that Bryce canyon or Zion had. We were able to feel on top of the world at Brian's Head Mt. The whole experience was amazing and I highly recommend it.

Cedar Breaks is a gorgeous park located roughly midway between Zion and Bryce. In my several visits it seems to be much less busy than the other two parks and well worth a visit for the incredible views and the fact that’s it’s a beautiful drive to get there. We were surprised to find pockets of snow still there in late July, coexisting with the wildflowers blooming in the high altitude meadows. I would imagine accessibility could be an issue in the winter.

It's not as impressive as Bryce Canyon NP, but worth a visit if you're in the area. Views are stunning from all the lookouts. Free with America the Beautiful Pass.

A little hidden gem that is worth the trip to. It has a new Visitor Center that will be open soon. A small camping ground that has a few trees but is near the peak, so it will be a bit windy. A pavilion just before the campground with picnic tables and vault toilets. There are a few lookout points where you can see the awe inspiring views of canyon amphitheater. Middle of July, in the high 60s and there are still some small patches of snow lingering around. A nice place to go to get away from the heat of the summer.

So beautiful. I went 2nd of April, and although their was still snow, the roads were clear to view the northside. Would love to come back once snow was melted.
Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park is a vast area spanning 1,200 acres that offers camping and is accessible to off-highway vehicles and dune buggies. The shifting dunes are of a unique hue that changes at sunset, providing a spectacular sight. Visitors can also enjoy sand sledding, which is comparable if not better than the experience offered by Great Sand Dunes National Park due to the shorter and easier walk.
So I’ve been to Great Sand Dunes National Park. Therefore I wasn’t expecting much from this place. Boy was I wrong. The dunes themselves are such a unique color. And if you go close to sunset, they seem to change color, which is spectacular. The sand sledding here was great. Perhaps just as good if not better than Great Sand Dunes due to the shorter and easier walk. Regardless, if you are in the area, make sure you stop.

Great place to visit. Both kids and adults can play in the sand. The sand is cool in the morning but heats up quickly. The sand is very fine and will get into your sneakers. It’s probably better to go bare foot.
It’s pretty relaxed here and isn’t crowded. They only $10 for a regular vehicle to enter this park.
There is a large picnic area to enjoy your lunch in the shade.
They offer sled rentals too if you are interested.
Pretty remote location so most cell phones won’t have service here.

A beautiful gem amid the more famous parks in the area that’s definitely worth your time & a visit! Even if you don’t have an OHV to cruise around on, there’s plenty to do and quietude to be found! I enjoyed a gorgeous sunset & sunrise from the higher dunes that are easily within walking distance from the parking lot. Renting a sand sled was a super fun way to explore the dunes - hiking up & sledding back down! Really enjoyed the gorgeous views, beautiful flowers and signs to learn more about this fascinating landscape.
I tent camped in the park which was great! Trees for shade, soft ground, protected from the wind, clean facilities, hot showers, and nicely quiet.
I’ll be back!!

We had a great time at the dunes, can't wait to head back. My wife and I are from Hawaii. So this was the first time seeing sand dunes like these. I didn't know you could board down the dunes, but I did have my RC Crawler with me, and decided to take it out and have some fun. Got a few compliments. One lady even told me it made her day, well I'm glad to have been entertaining!
Jaaron Johnson — Google review
This is a fairly small state park that is remote, so there are very few visitors. This is a very unique landscape and formation. It's worth the off-the-beaten-path drive and the $10 entrance fee.
It was quite fun, but there was a lot of hiking in the sun, wind, and sand. Every step you take, you move back half a step. Take water out to the dune for sure. Sunglasses are a great idea to protect from the bright sun on the sand and the sand in the wind. A bandana to cover your face would be good, too. Sleds or boards are fun, but the hiking up the hill will exhaust you quickly.
The sand is very fine and blows on the wind. It will get in everything, especially shoes. I recommend just wearing socks, so the sand doesn't collect, but your feet don't get burned. Earlier in the day is best due to heat.
Randy Christensen — Google review
Experience the dunes for sledding, hiking, and nature. The red sand is stunning, especially with a dusting of snow. Dogs love playing here. Open year-round, best in spring, summer, and fall for milder temperatures.
TEA REX — Google review
Great place for dune buggy rides and sliding on the dunes.
This is a place to bring the kids and be active. However, if you just want to ride in the car and look you will be disappointed.
The dunes are beautiful as is their surrounding.
Be aware that if you're not in great shape you will have a hard time walking on the hilly dunes.
There are bleachers where you can see the dunes without actually walking on them.

Trip in and out was a bit bumpy but, enjoyable. Staff at gate were friendly and knowledgeable. Picked up permit to get my drone up in the air and we got some good overhead shots of those boarding down the dunes. Nice overlook with info plaques. Clean restrooms and nice camping sites. Only downfall was the pricing of ATV tours. I personally thought $160, for two for an hour ride, was a bit much. That's just me though. Overall, great visit for us.

We were able to get a last minute camping spot here and really enjoyed our visit. We came in at night and Donna greeted us at the entrance and was a wealth of knowledge and extremely nice! It's refreshing to come across someone these days who loves what they do and is nice and helpful. She was great. We took amazing pictures of the stars at night and enjoyed the sand dunes to ourselves very early in the morning when the sand was cool and the sxs and atvs weren't allowed out yet. Such a beautiful place!

Really nice sand. But - is it possible that everybody is abele to drive loud and fast over the sand dunes in (!) the park? Wouldn’t it be enough to allow that only outside? Prices in the park for all kind of rentals absolutely overpriced like in a typical tourist trap. Have never seen this before in a state park.
andreas breitenberger — Google review
Nice, family fun park with camping and can am rentals. Windy and cold when we visited on April 6th. Take warm layers, extra warm socks and shoes, maybe a toboggan and gloves for little ones.
Lisa Morganwalker — Google review
We did the sunset tour. This was more fun than I thought it would be. Typically, I had mediocre experiences renting atvs, or white water rafting, etc or doing tours because they make you go slow and/or its too mild; but here we went pretty fast! It was exciting and sand-sledding and sand-boarding was fun!
Krystal Presutti — Google review
It’s a little pricey for what it is. It’s just a bunch of sand. Not that colorful. If you have your own board or sled, it’s cheaper. I didn’t try it; mainly because I didn’t feel like walking up the hills over and over again. 🤣😂
Scott Tencza — Google review
Gorgeous state park that is a fun little stop outside of our stay in Zion. I wish we had time for the sand boarding, but there was a storm approaching that had winds whipping pretty badly. We were still able to check out an area of the dunes that was public access and I enjoyed it. Would be an amazing place for a sunset view.

This is such a beautiful underrated park that doesn't come up at the top of attractions but it's definitely a must visit.
It's so much fun to slide down the sand dunes and it's all very inexpensive; a $10 entrance fee and you can rent a sand board for $25.
Bathrooms are scarce but there's lots of parking a cute little gift shop at the entrance.

It was cool to see. Visited in March and it was chilly and extremely windy. Sand made its way into my pores, socks and pockets. Would like to come back and sled when it is warmer.
