Awesome experience. I have never seen so many Fremont Petroglyphs in one spot. The property is easy to find and very well kempt. Though be sure to follow the rules and be as respectful of the property as possible. I am glad we made this detour to see this and I am grateful for the family that allows the public to come on to their property.

Absolutely amazing! The beautiful petroglyphs are unmatched anywhere! I'm from a couple hours away and only learned of this place as a recommendation from a campground operator. Go! It's easy to get to and worthwhile. Don't speed, go 35.
Sterling Ross — Google review
A short but steep and tricky hike gets you to the best collection of petroglyphs I saw while in the Vernal area. I encourage a donation to help offset the effort made to provide a parking area and trial markers to see these historical rock carvings.
Jacob Anawalt — Google review
So cool! We visited the Upper Trail...took about 20 minutes to hike up. We were not prepared for the climb but a warning to wear your hiking shoes. Was an easy to moderate climb.
Christy Q — Google review
Beautiful hike. A little steep in a couple places, but easy enough for young children. The petraglyphs were amazing!
Joshua Harding — Google review
There is an ask for a $5 donation so they can keep it maintained, so be ready for that.
Hike was a little harder on the main trail than expected (there is the main trail going one way and another to a mountain lion petroglyph) but we went up with our toddler and dog.
Some rocks have fallen so you have to look for the rope to see where the trail keeps going. Worth it though. Snapped these pics
Moe Tschudy — Google review
We saw a few reviews for the petroglyphs and wanted to take the hike. Once we parked in the new free parking area, we were confused on where to start the hike. There are signs along the road that lead towards the three Kings Trail, but also signs that say private property, no trespassing. we met a nice lady on one of the properties who directed us to the proper trail. The trails disseminate from the parking area. The lower trail is in the parking area and the upper trail is across the road. The lower trail is mostly flat and very narrow trail with shrubbery brushing against your leg. Suggest to wear long pants if desired. There are also a ton of red ants on the trail so don’t stop and look too long as they will be crawling up your legs. we saw very few petroglyphs, but we saw a lot of beautiful nature on the way. Easy hike to the three kings and then you turn around and go back. If we had better shoes, we would’ve taken the upper course as some of the reviews say it’s pretty steep.
tony villa — Google review
We had a great hike out to the three kings with our 5 and 7 year olds. Pretty flat hike through an area with a pond and cattle. You can't get very close to the three kings, but there's plenty of other petroglyphs along the way to see. No shade and you may want bug spray. Plenty of parking, porta potties, and a small shed that shows a map of the hikes, shares history, and asks for the $5 donation (cash or Venmo).
Erica Trittschuh Armitage — Google review
So awesome to see these petroglyphs! Must do if you're in the area. Can't believe this is private land, so great that the owners opened it to the public. The trail up is slippery and a bit steep, so wear good hiking shoes and be careful!
John VF — Google review
This a truly amazing experience. The glyphs are close and so detailed and crisp, but I was just impressed with the hikes through the pastures and the view of the valley from above. This is quiet and peaceful place.
Susan Kerr — Google review
The petroglyphs are nice but the walkways up the cliff didn’t seem very structured and I wish there were signs for the carvings. Definitely be aware that it’s a steep hike to see them.
Kira Anderson — Google review
The McConkie Ranch Petroglyphs are on private property. There is a small parking fee of a 5 donation, very reasonable for accessing amazing petroglyphs. The trail was short and easy to follow. I had an absolute blast visiting this site.

This is a small space inside the supermarket. I bought a locally made key holder but many of the items are not locally made (the old arts are being lost and the people do them know they are time consuming and often not profitable so I understand completely). We had a nice chat with the young woman working there. And we enjoyed seeing racks of regalia like jingle dresses and shawls for dancing at powwows.
Stephanie Merfeld — Google review
We drove an hour out of our way to see the jewerly. The store inside has different hours than what is listed online. Poor customer service and communication regarding the separate store inside. They should follow the rest of the store hours. The associates working in the grocery store area were extremely nice and pleasant. Its to bad the jewerly shop owner reflects poorly on what could be a great place to shop.
Whitney Harris — Google review
Not much of authentic Uintah merchandise. Not much of a selection of any native American merchandise
Keith — Google review
It is a very small shop and all the things are pretty pricy; pair toddler slipper is $95.
I worked a tournament there. The golf staff were amazingly helpful. They got me a table to use, helped me print some needed paperwork, and even provided a chair later in the day when my camp chair broke.
The course has some landscaping issues, but that’s normal in nearly every public course. But the staff were stellar.

This course feels like it was built 9 at a time. The front nine is pretty straight and narrow. The back nine is a lot more fun than the front. Holes #13 and #16 are my favorite thirteenth and sixteenth holes in Utah. Hole #14 is also pretty great. This course is walkable.
Shawn Baugh — Google review
When the summer comes back around they have a restaurant inside and they cook some good food. The golf is good and cheap $22 9-holes with cart. Awesome I'm from a big city and it costs a lot more then that. Also you have to check out the back nine you'll love it. It's after Thanksgiving and there still open.
Michael Guinn — Google review
This is a great little Golf Course and the back nine is particularly fun including a par 3 that lets you shoot from on top of a ridge to a green Far Below and a par 5 that bends around a Rocky Ridge. There's also a true island green part 3.

Beautiful course, really friendly staff and what a great place! They took great care of me when I got stranded for a couple days and I would recommend you stop and play a round to stretch the ole' legs!
Kevin Harrington — Google review
For such a small town the course is impressive. Beautiful views on the back nine. The bent greens roll true and are well kept.
State park with campsites & a large reservoir for recreation such as fishing, boating & windsurfing.
We had such a blast at Starvation. We stayed at the Juniper Point campground and were able to drive our motorhome right up to the water and camp there. It was beautiful! The lake is at 100% capacity which is cool to see.
Erin Johnson — Google review
Great lake! Not a ton of people on labor day weekend. Drive off the beaten path and found our own little private beach, and alcove. Drive from Provo about a 2 hour drive, didn't run into a ton of traffic either. Love the little town and grocery store as well. Didn't have a boat this time around, but it kayaks did the trick, plenty of good fishing spots of of the shore. A fun time was had by all!
Steve Wright — Google review
Great sandy beaches. Weekday was great. We did not camp. Used day use. Not one rock on the beaches making access to the water with water toys easier. I have been to many state parks and this one by far has the cleanest restrooms with flush toilets. The water has no algae and very clean. We saw baby falcons in the nest. There are many falcon posts (totems) around the area. Well worth the 2 hr drive from Salt Lake area. We stayed in cabana next to #1 no fee or reservation for many cabanas.
Robin Vez — Google review
Usually this place is super windy with polar weather… hot in day and cold at night time.. this time it was so perfect- too bad the water is still 55 degrees… love how big the lake and the grounds are.

Amazing views here in Middle of nowhere. Got down for a breather and stretch out. Fresh air and nice road to walk a little and watch the FREEDOM BRIDGE scenery.❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍😃

I enjoy Starvation State Park and reservoir. There’s a generous range of day and overnight camping from primitive to RV. Restrooms are well maintained. There is a boat launch for large watercraft and other options for canoes and kayaks to avoid the traffic of the main ramp. Equipment rentals as well. Fishing is good for small mouth bass, perch, walleyes, and trout.
Paul Nauta — Google review
We stayed at Indian Bay Campground, almost all of the camp sites are great, but the best ones are the ones near the shore with a spectacular view and quick access to the beach area some are big enough for rv's and others for tents only, no hook ups at this campground, vault restrooms that were pretty clean. Water Level is good.Fishing, paddle boarding and all your other water sports are sure to be fun here. The only issue was the trash bins were overfilled and trash scattered around the camp grounds, maintenance can do a better job at this and so can we, pick up after yourself and keep this place as nice as it naturally is..👍
Joe — Google review
We stayed a few nights in our RV at the Lower Beach loop and had a great visit. We stayed on site LO03 and had great access to the beach. Overall the park and campground are clean and well maintained, and with fee being $28 per night it’s a great value. Just be sure to claim a good spot on the beach early in the day.
Ken Baker — Google review
There wasn't a lot of people and the fishing was awesome. We caught tons of fish and multiple good size good size ones we had a 23" 23" 3 and a 1/2 pound Rainbow and two 21 and a 1/2 inch 2.5 pound rainbows. We've caught a ton of rainbow and walleye But through all of them back except for the 3 big ones We had a great time.
Trever Royce — Google review
Stunning lake view from our very large, very private, very level RV site. One of the very best state park campgrounds we have experienced in 10 years of full-time RV travel. The few staff we interacted with were superb too!
Jean Batchelder — Google review
This was a perfect spot. We spent one night in Indian Bay primitive campground. For $15 we had shoreline twelve feet from our camper trailer. Easy access to bathrooms and trash. The road down to Indian Bay is very rough at the beginning; lots of potholes. Otherwise perfect!
J Marshall — Google review
This lake is amazing. We always find a good spot even during busy holiday weekends. Bathrooms are well maintained. Easy access to the lake. Bring your own shade. It gets hot and there isn't a lot of natural shade.

Cool museum. Lots of old local history. Highly suggested donation of $20/family but not enforced (let the guilt seep in). Looking forward to when the model trains get up and running.
Melissa Yuen — Google review
We loved exploring the history of Helper and the surrounding area. The museum offers far more than we expected. So much history and an honest glimpse into both the good and the bad of history. It is important to see how people authentically made their way in this sometimes harsh world. It is a reminder that our lives are sheltered from the grueling conditions that our ancestors had to endure.

Awesome museum... 3 stories... Great displays... Ton of cool pictures, antiques, and explanations of what it was like in a small western mining town in the early 1900s... and the setting is perfect. It's in an old hotel that was built in the early 1900s. Doesn't about an hour there and was rushed through with my kids. I could have spent twice the time there but they were done. The kids enjoyed themselves. It is definitely worth the trip.

Fantastic stop! Every room pulls you further into the history! We will make this a must stop, anytime we go through Utah.
Rick Whitten — Google review
While staying in this great little town I just had to check out the museum and I am so glad I did. It might not look it from the outside but it's 4 floors and massive. There are so many different exhibits and artifacts but a lot of it is about the mines and the old railroads, super interesting.
Caitlin Cannon — Google review
When we drove out here, we were expecting a small localized museum. But when we got there, we discovered this museum is much more than that. It had four large floors packed with fascination artifacts, maps, fossils, dioramas, and facts that made the drive 100% worth it. This was by far the most spectacular History museum I have been too, as everything was well maintained and unique. It had so much history about the town, railroads, mining, etc. I highly recommend it.
Gavin Lockard — Google review
One of the nicest, most comprehensive small-town museums I've had the pleasure of being able to visit.
If you are so inclined, you could easily spend an hour or two wandering about the exhibits. There is so much to see. A real treat. Then again, if you grew up with a smartphone as opposed to say, a Lego or Meccano set, you may feel the need to run through the entire place in less than 15 minutes. How long you stay is entirely up to you.
I'll surely visit again, because I want to see how the model train layout progresses!
Erik de Vries — Google review
One of my favorite museums that I've visited. It's a free museum with a suggested donation. The museum has a large gift shop with good priced items. The museum itself is 3 floors with a basement so you'll be plenty entertained. They also add to the museum often.

Highly recommend a tour through this little gem on Mainstreet in Helper. Very impressive collections of local history for both Helper and Carbon County. Extensive railroad history and memorabilia including several model trains; big section and exhibits on mining along with the colorful history of the rough-and-tumble outlaws in the area. Also a nice collection of local art plus exhibits on the many and varied immigrants that contributed to settling and building the Helper community. The Staff is very accommodating and knowledgeable on all things local.

This is a must see! The photos speak for themselves. The guy at the front desk was super nice and accommodating. Our family loved this. This is by far one of thee most spectacular museums we have ever been too.

What a find! Saw the dign on the highway and stopped. Recommended. Saw lots of contraptions I have never seen! Four floors of history and cool things!

Free museum with 4 floors! Lots to look at. Exhibits include rooms focused on the railroad, mining, life in mining towns, dentist/doctor office, school houses, blacksmith shops, hotels, laundry, general stores etc.

Fascinating history of Helper, a place we've been interested in for a long time. Amazing number of a artifacts, photos and written histories.
Rustic-chic wilderness accommodations on 100,000 private acres with dog sledding & horseback trails.
This was our third snowmobile tour in the Park City area and our first with North Forty Escapes, but I have a feeling it won't be our last. The trip was so much fun and the scenery was amazingly beautiful.
We were originally scheduled for Christmas Eve but due to an incoming big storm we were lucky enough to be able to reschedule for later in the week after Christmas. They were very friendly about helping us make our travel plan changes. The drive out to the ranch is beautiful, although if you are an out-of-towner with a basic rental car I would highly recommend parking right at the entrance to their property and not trying to go down the driveway as it's covered in snow and your little two-wheel drive rental car probably will get stuck.
We have a two-wheel drive car with no tires and we had trouble getting all the way into the main parking area but luckily we had no trouble getting back out. It pays to be extra safe and just park on the main road and walk down the rest of the way.
Definitely plan to get there at least 30 minutes early, giving yourself time to change into your snow gear. Their Lodge is small and because of the overlap in different tours
, there are a lot of people inside at the same time and with only two bathrooms it takes a while to take care of that plus finding your helmet, signing the waivers and such.
I wish they had a little more organization inside because it was a little frantic. You had one tour coming in and unloading their stuff while another group is trying to get ready for their tour, and most people don't know how to properly size helmets so it would have been nice to have a little more help in a little more space to maneuver.
Once you got outside to the sleds the guys were extremely helpful, and fun to be around. They went through all the safety speeches and got everyone onto their sleds quickly and then the tour began. There property is beautiful, you travel passed a couple Mountain Cabins and then you are truly in the wilderness with nothing around. The views at some of the spots are incredible looking back down the valley towards Park City. At the top they have a wide-open meadow where you can open up your sled and speed around doing laps oh, well the guides offered to take the kids through the trees and the fresh powder so you don't have to worry about wrecking your sled and having to pay for repairs.
Unfortunately our sled busted on the way up the mountain, and because you are single file and we were the last sled in our group we watched helplessly as the rest of our group continued up the mountain and we were dead in the water. Thankfully the guides are always Vigilant and both the guide coming up behind us and our guide who had gone ahead came back to help us, they had spare parts and in less than 10 minutes had replaced the engine belt and we were back up and running.
All in all it was an amazing tour and well worth the money. If you have kids the two-hour tour is a perfect length of time. Definitely bundle up because in that part of the country the temperatures are in the single digits during the day so wear warm socks and several layers.
I can't wait to go back, and I'm sure we will be doing another tour with these guys again! Highly recommended!
Chris Austin — Google review
Had an amazing experience and found the staff to be very accommodating and informative. We did the one hour dog sledding with a total of two families. We were greeted and taken to the nearby location by van. The guides were all very informative taking the time to explain and educate us all on the sleds and dogs. A great and informative experience, not to mention the spectacular backdrop. The guide stays on sled and explains so much about how the sled dogs work.
My only complaint was that we left at almost 3:30 amd promptly were done at 4. So the hour was cut down. Unfortunately we were the last group but thought I’d get a bit more of an “experience” for the expensive cost related to the excursion. Overall a great time just a bit pricey for what you get!
Alex A — Google review
What an experience! First of all, our hotel royally screwed up transportation to North Forty Escapes, but they were still able to accommodate us, even staying late so we got our full time. Clark was our guide and was so friendly and knowledgeable about the dogs and area. We have a special needs son and he was very accommodating and patient with anything we needed. The dog sledding was so fun and all the dogs were so happy. We took lots of breaks for them and us. Clark doubled as photographer and stopped to capture many great photos for us along our sledding and snow mobile ride. He was attentive during the snow mobile portion, constantly checking to make sure we were behind him and ok. He was so wonderful to work with on our first time doing both, we are very lucky to have had him. We also got a follow up text asking how our time was which was lovely. Overall an absolutely wonderful experience and would highly recommend!
Yolanda Cielo — Google review
We had a mixed group of about 10 people. Mostly a controlled trail ride through some beautiful scenery and woods. There were a couple of stop where they let you go full out on the mobiles in a couple of open areas. Dress warm and probably more fun on a single than riding double.

Absolutely LOVE this Ranch! My now fiancé proposed to me on an incredible horseback ride into the high aspens with an INSANE view. I highly recommend a horseback tour - Fall is my favorite because the leaves changing in the entire canyon are so pretty. Ask for Bayou Dave as your guide!! He was really fun and extremely knowledgeable about wildlife. He taught us so much about the area and showed us signs of bear activity and bear claws in the trees! He was also incredible about safety and making sure everyone was good the whole trip! I will absolutely come back every year for this experience. I loved riding Margaret, the horse. She’s a beauty and eager to lead! There is also shotgun shooting and I hear dog sled rides in the winter are a blast.

My husband and I had an AMAZING experience horseback riding here! Troy was such a great guide!! He’s funny, personable, knows his stuff and made our overall experience that much better! It was our first time horseback riding and we left wanting to come back the next day!! It was a great ride and the trails are so pretty! We did the hour excursion which was perfect, but would have easily done the 2 hour! Would highly recommend, for all ages!!

Reserved the last three snowmobiles for a Christmas Eve 11am 2hr tour with North Forty Escapes. The whole family loved it. What a variety of terrain on this massive, backcountry playground. Our guide Wade did a great job and was very patient. An overnight snow added about 12" to the already deep snow; we stuck every snowmobile at least once it was so deep. We had an Amazing time..would love to return again!

This business was amazing.
I went there for the horseback riding and will be back for some of the other activities. Walt was my guide and he made the whole ride so much fun. He had a great sense of humor, pointed out edible wild berries for me to try, we saw a moose, some deer and grouse.
I highly recommend spending your day outdoors with them.

Very impressed with North Forty Escapes. They have a professional operation, with well-cared for dogs, beautiful scenery, and great equipment. The staff is kind and friendly. I was hesitant to spend the money for dog sledding, but wanted to try it. It’s a beautiful drive to get to the property, and took me about 45 minutes to get there from Park City. I’d never driven in snow with a 4x4, but was able to manage on my own. The company does have a van that will pick up and drop off for an additional charge, if you don’t want to make the drive. I’d love to go back again. Clark was an excellent guide. PS the ranch where you do dog sledding is where parts of the TV show Yellowstone was filmed.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with North Forty Escapes. We did the 2 hour horseback ride and it was great from start to finish. Walt, our guide, made us feel comfortable and confident the entire time. Could not recommend them enough!
Brady Inners — Google review
This is a bit late, as we went in March. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Everything about them was great.
They are the only tour operators on the mountain, so you are away from the crowds. Our tour guide Walt was amazing. Informative, funny, entertaining.
Our group had a variety of rider levels, so they divided us into groups to ensure the best experience. Walt accommodated our requests for stops, photo shoots, etc.
My son said it was the highlight of his trip. Oh and being greeted at the door of the cabin by the sweetest dog, Mister, was a bonus!
One of our party broke her arm the day before and they cheerfully remedied the situation for us.
Great service, great guides, great scenery.

This was the most incredible experience. It’s located about 40 mins from Park City, but it is well worth the drive. The views are breathtaking and it’s so beautiful on the ranch - it was untouched nature at its finest. My husband and I did the combo dogsledding and snowmobiling. The dogs had the best temperament and were clearly very well taken care of. They were enjoying themselves almost as much as I was! The snowmobiling was awesome; we got to go to the top of a secluded mountain and it was so cool. Lastly, our guide Clark was the man. He was so friendly and chill. We really enjoyed our conversation with him and he was full of cool facts. If he reads this, let him know I did in fact break a rib from that incident (thanks to my husband who took a turn too fast and flipped our snowmobile). Pro tip: get single rides for snowmobiling rather then the double. We 10/10 recommend this place, it does not disappoint!

We had an amazing time snowmobiling with Jordan! None of us had ever been on a snowmobile or anything similar and it was easy to learn. We had gorgeous views and Jordan tailored our tour for our goals (more scenic, faster paced/action, etc.). It was worth every penny.

If you are thinking about doing a dog sledding tour with these guys- do it! The dogs are awesome and you get time to meet them and pet them before and after the tour. It was really fun to ride in the sled, my 12 year old got to stand up on the back with the musher who taught her a few skills, while my husband followed on a snowmobile. Lots of fun!!

My wife and I spent an amazing five hours at the ranch. We started with skeet shooting and finished with a two hour horseback ride. Both were fantastic. I would highly recommend both activities and want to thank Walt (shooting) and Josh (riding) for doing a great job. Thanks, guys!
We had never shot guns before, let alone tried to hit a moving target, but Walt was super friendly in showing us the basics while still having fun. We ended up hitting several clays each, although my wife was the winner between the two of us. We shot with another friendly group of three, and Walt did a terrific job keeping everyone engaged.
My wife has a fair mount of horseback riding experience, but I have essentially none. Josh took that into account in matching us with our horses for the ride. I was very comfortable, as was my wife l, since the horses were reliable and easy to work with. Josh did a great job of keeping us all together, including the other three riders we met. It was a beautiful ride up and down the mountainside, with gorgeous views. We even saw several moose, which was a bonus!
Highly recommend, even if you have no experience (like me)!

We had a blast for our first time snowmobiling. Dress warm and ready for snow because there was a lot of powder! Walt was an excellent guide!
John Burns — Google review
We used their snowmobiling guide service, it was a lot of fun with fantastic views. A great way to really see the mountain and have a little fun. Especially if you typically like to off road with four-wheelers, etc. Most of the staff and guides were super friendly. We really enjoyed Andrea, and several gentleman who helped us get the rental unstuck in the driveway(they do offer a pickup service, highly recommended). Our main guide Walt was less enjoyable, kind of snobbish (I'd like to use a different word, but ya know). Overall a great experience, that we really enjoyed!
This old-fashioned train ride with scenic views offers trips with sing-a-longs, live music & BBQ.
Fun way to spend an hour and a half! We bought our tickets ahead of time and were able to get right on the train when we arrived. We picked the open air car and were really glad we did! The weather was perfect and you are able to move around and get great pics of the surroundings. The staff does a great job making sure you are comfortable and keeping you entertained. There is live music, a presentation about the history of the train with highlights of some of the areas you pass, and even a train robber. Definitely recommend it, we would do it again.

When we were getting ready to board with my handicapped mother who relies completely on her walker to walk, we were so rudely greeted by a woman who said they aren't ADA compliant and walkers weren't allowed on the train. I told her my mother couldn't walk without it and she didn't care. My mother struggled to her seat by holding onto the seats along the way and we were told that her walker would be waiting for her at the station when we returned. This same lady changed her tone once boarded and was a great guide. The train ride was very entertaining with several different people telling about the sites, telling jokes and playing music. Very entertaining and a good value for the price paid of $25/per adult.
I looked back at the website after returning to see if I had missed on the website where it said that walkers weren't allowed and no where did it mention this. It said that wheelchairs and strollers were not allowed but nowhere did it mention walkers. Had it, I would never have booked this trip knowing my mother's limitations. It all worked out ok but was a poor start to what ended up being a great train ride. I encourage the staff to be more understanding and polite when dealing with issues such as this in the future.

We had a group of 8 ride the train last night and had a great time. The price was very reasonable and we had a lot of fun mostly due to the two young employees who were entertained us with corny jokes and dance party music. Courtney and Makay made the trip more than just a ride up to the halfway point and then back to the train station. I was impressed with their maturity and confidence. The train cars were clean and comfortable. Overall probably the least expensive entertainment and fun available in the area.

What a beautiful day!!!! Happy birthday America! Our train ride was amazing 😍. Clear skies, cool weather and the staff were so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. A trio of sisters sang while on our 15 minute stop, They were amazing, what a beautiful way to honor all the brave men and women, and their families that through their bravery and sacrifice have made it possible for all of us to enjoy days like today. This is a wonderful experience for the entire family. ❤️🇺🇸

I adore this train! Have worked here for 6 years and it's changed the way I see my valley. I've gotten to take part in so many fun events and awesome themes, plus music videos, free concerts (for the whole community!), breathtaking views of Provo Canyon, the most fantastic cowboy poets and storytellers, live fiddlers, guitarists, singers, and dancers.
What a beautiful and fun way to keep the heritage of Heber Valley alive. Everyone in Northern Utah should come out to this train at some point; it's truly a slice of Americana unlike anywhere else in the region and the staff is fun and energetic.

Was scheduled for the North pole express but due to weather was unable to make it on time. Decided to go to the station and wait for my family to exit the train. The young man at the desk informed us that because we missed our train ride they would give us an 80% credit towards another train ride and the credit was good for 2 years. It's nice to know that in these trying times there are still good business practices happening. No matter what time of year the Heber Valley Railroad is always a fun family activity!

Great family fun destination. During the holidays they offer many different themed train rides. The staff are knowledgeable about the history of the train and the history of Heber Valley. They offer snacks and lunch options for an additional fee. Trains do fill up fast so purchasing tickets in advance is strongly recommended especially for a themed ride. If you have infants they are NOT allowed to stay in car seats. You can leave your carrier at the ticket office free of charge while you ride.

This train ride us a must do. The whole drive up is so nice and the train ride is super cool! I suggest to get the food . Lunch was amazing very good and filling. The hosts are all very nice and Ray and Elaine did an amazing job! They speak clearly and Ray is very funny. This was our first time and not going to be our last. Can't wait to try all the different rides. Thank you for the great trip!!

Beautiful scenery while riding an old train built-in the early 1900s. The young kids attending to us were very polite and pleasant. The young violinist entertained us while riding. In the end we got stranded waiting for an Uber and the manager Lian (not sure if spelled correctly) waited until we were able to leave. We were very grateful since we are not from Utah and were a bit nervous to get stranded at night. I truly recommend this ride and the people who work there. They were awesome!

Heber Valley Railroad was a fun experience. They were professional, made the ride entertaining, and there was a lot to see. Once we got to the end of the lake we did sit for a while as they detached the engine to turn the train around, but it wasn't bad. I would recommend bringing a fan and water bottle in the summer since it is pretty hot. Also, if you plan to ride one of the themed trains you'll need to book it well in advance since they sell out fast. I wouldn't go regularly, but it's definitely worth doing more than once. It's also a good activity for kids.

Very interesting trip with amazing view! Really enjoyed the astonishing view of this trip. The attendance were very friendly. There were couple of live shows which were singing and talk show. Pretty interesting to light up the trip especially the way back. I was hoping the whole trip is a circle around, but it's not. Around 45 minutes reach to the point, then move the engine to the other side and head back on the same way. All in all, it's an interesting trip to go for the breathtaking view.

The Polar Express train was a hit with our kids. They had fiddlers, a guitarist, dance parties, a visit from Santa, hot cocoa and cookies. My kids all thought it was magical.

This was our first ride on a real train. My 2 year old had a blast.
The Deer Creek Express is a great route to take if you're looking to see the beauty Utah has to offer.
There was an old west train robbery, a singer and a story teller. All very entertaining.
We had a lot of fun. And highly recommend.

It was a pleasant experience. Train ride time was just right 90 mins. Seating area was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were celebrating my father in laws birthday. Ethan, who was a tour guide/host of our cabin did a fantastic job making us all laugh and feel welcome, he gathered bunch of staff members to sing happy birthday for my FIL and making it a great experience for him.
Train ride was very beautiful!

A very cool historic railroad. We enjoyed our trip and saw some amazing views. The staff were great and engaging. Our toddler had such a fun time seeing the trains and getting to ride. We did pay for his own seat, which I would recommend since the space is tight.

Heber Valley Railroad does a fun Christmas or in this case post Christmas train ride that is geared for children. We did the themed post Christmas train as an extended family and had a great time once things got moving. We were in the first car which was a first class one that had sitting on the sides in comfy leather seats and the middle was open which was nice for a large group (20 people). We talked and had some fun with the staff on the ride. It does start off slow while you get your chocolate chip cookie (very good from a place in Midway) and then a small cup of good hot chocolate. This was all after a short move on the train. The train overall does not travel far and ends toward a small North Poll set with Santa standing on a platform as you roll by. They have a dancing team come for a little and it is mainly the cars elf staff being your entertainment. At the end they give you a nice metal mug and when Santa gets to your car a reindeer bell in a nice red bag. Overall a fun experience for all but especially for those younger than teens.

Took the family for the polar express experience. It was enjoyable for the tiniest people to the grandparents. Beautiful scenery, fun interactive employees. GREAT cookies! We also got free hot chocolate that was a little cold but it was still good. The building also has a cute little gift shop

We just completed the Polaris Express in the Comit Car with our 7 month old and 2 year old and would highly recommend doing this for anyone with small children for the gifts, cookies, hot chocolate, comfortable couches, heaters.
From the authentic experience, the views, the staff, and details it is worth every penny. Be sure to sit on the left side of the train if wanting the best views during the ride! We purchased our tickets in July for this past weekend and would for sure recommend booking in July again!

This train ride through the mountains is amazing, and I do believe that it might look pretty when it is snowing. The train wagons are cold inside, and your feet get cold if you don’t have the proper clothing or shoes. You can bring snacks, but if you don’t want to carry them, they also sell some on the train.
Isaac Romero — Google review
We did the Polar Express with our 2 - and 9 year old kids, and they loved it. Please note that this train is called the Heber Creeper for a reason (i.e., it's slow), but all the activities in the train make for nice outings as a family. The kids that were hosts, elves, and daughters of Santa were great. The chocolate chip cookie was pretty good, and the hot cocoa was okay. The Santa was en point! Excellent Santa! And we loved the Santa's village at the end. Overall, we had a great time!
Note that some cars are quite chilly and others quite warm during the winter months when they do the Polar Express trains. They allow the windows to be opened (with the hosts' help), so just be prepared to bundle upjust in case you need to add or shed layers.
Such a fun experience! I had never ridden a horse the guide Austin gave good instructions/demo before we started on the trail and was very attentive during the ride to ensure everything was going smoothly. It was a beautiful ride. Would definitely recommend visiting Rocky Mountain Outfitters!!

We had the best time riding horses at Rocky Mountain outfitters! The scenery was breathtaking. Our trail guide,Emma, was wonderful and made the adventure so much fun. She was friendly and informative and definitely knew a-lot about the horses. She knew what we all needed so we would all have the best experience with the horse we rode . I had two 13 year olds and a 16 year old and they loved it. It was their favorite thing about our trip to Utah. We rode into the mountains and the trip was an hour long, which was perfect. I don’t think any one of us could of rode very much longer. I would definitely recommend adding this to your list of things to do in Utah.

Great time and fun adventure to break away from your normal day. Bryn was an outstanding guide! His love of horseback riding, his family history, and tales from his youth kept our ride all the more lively. We left with great photos, new memories and a bigger love of Utah.

Awesome time! Our guide was very knowledgeable and kind, horses were well kept, and you can tell everyone has a passion for what they do. My husband I did the 1.5hour ride in January 2024, and it was a blast (albeit slightly cold, so wear appropriate gear). Will absolutely recommend and try to go again!

We booked a 1/2 day group fly fishing trip through the St. Regis. 2 adults and 2 kids. It was an amazing afternoon. The guides (Andrea and Paul) were very friendly and hands-on, the weather was perfect, and the hatch was on! Very affordable trip and tons of fun. We must've caught over 20 fish in 3.5 hours.

We booked a 90 minute ride in Midway for our son’s 9th birthday. An hour or so into the ride, my son’s horse and mine got spooked when a branch fell in the woods and our horses took off in different directions. Our son intentionally slid and jumped off his horse and he was OK. He did try to stop it but it was much larger and stronger than him so he did what he felt was best and we are so grateful he’s not a timid kid and he figured it out. After he got off it, his horse kept going but quickly came back to the group. Mine ran me through some tall shrub bushes and then I was able to stop him. It was a little terrifying but we’re OK and have a fun story to tell now. Our guide hooked our son’s horse to theirs for the last 15 minutes back to the stables. The guides were friendly, informative and after our incident did ask numerous times if we were OK and we were (our son got right back on his and he thought it was all very exciting)! Me as the mother, not so much. I had no idea what was happening to our son while my horse had me somewhere else. It was a good lesson to be prepared for anything as they can spook very easily. But all in all we enjoyed it and we’d likely come back. The scenery was beautiful and it’s a very quaint area.

My wife and went on a trail ride in the morning with Brin as our guide. The trails are well kept, the horses well manored and we got to see some gorgeous fall colors in Soldier Hollow. That afternoon we went fly fishing on the lower Provo with Andrew as our guide. We caught some nice brown and rainbow trout as well as had a very peaceful day on the river. Another great adventure with Rocky Mountain Outfitters which is why we keep coming back!

Wife review.
Loved it!
I got to ride Cub, a 16 yr old brown and white paint. He was very obedient. He responded with small movements and vocal instructions.
It was helpful to be a bit early and bond with him beforehand.
Another horse, Sam Elliott, was in front of me on the trail. He kept trying to eat grass along the way and he threw his rider toward the end of the trail. The tour guide, Austin, was quick to respond and check the fallen rider, who was fine, just a little bruised. She was given the option to ride again or walk the short way back.
Cub was quick to obey and wait when we needed to. He likes going uphill better than downhill. But he has a very subdued personality and took the hills very cautiously.
The instructions given at the beginning were very clear and helpful.

We decided to go horseback riding in the last minute on the last day of our Park City vacation and Rocky Mountain Outfitters were able to accommodate us. Within an hour of calling, we were on horses. The whole experience could not have been more lovely. My daughter and I had an amazing time and Isaac was such a great guide. We have been on quite a few trail rides and these are by far the happiest and most well cared for horses we have met. We will definitely be back next time we are in town. Thank you!

So much fun. It was a little expensive, but to be able to show up ride a horse and walk away and do none of the prep work that has to fold into the cost. It was a little slow walking, in a line, but we were in fresh snow and basically very beginner. The horses are friendly and clean. The views were incredible. The eagle and deer were spot on.

I’m gonna preface this by saying I wanted to love the christmas lights wagon ride!! But, it was absolutely not worth the price. $30 per person for practically no lights, and no Christmas music. The upside, the horses were amazing. I’m not one to leave bad reviews but if you’re a family that wants to do something christmasy, I’d spend your money else where.
Deer Valley Resort is a ski resort located in the town of Park City, Utah. The resort features hotels, condos, and shops along with restaurants and activities. It is one of the most popular resorts in Park City and offers many activities such as skiing, snowboarding, tubing, cruising on a small lake for kayakers or stand up paddle boarding.
Amazing ski resort. Amazing terrain. I was able to make it on a beautiful blue bird week. They had enough snow to make it worth it. Great conditions. Steep terrain, but enough for everyone. If you are a skier it is a place you must visit. Worth the price. It can be over the top but the terrain and conditions are worth the price of admission even if it is for one day.

The staff was amazing. The lodge is a bit confusing at first but there were plenty of workers to help guide you where to go. The ski school was probably the best I've experienced so far (I haven't experienced many to be fair). The runs were fun. I will say there is probably more for more experienced riders. It's also reasonably priced! And free parking too with a shuttle that brings you to the lodge. One downfall is no snowboarding.

Went for some mountain biking and it did not disappoint. I’m new to the sport and this was by far my favorite day on my bike yet. I hate pedaling and having the lift was amazing. Tidal wave jump track is so enjoyable. If you haven’t ridden here yet, it’s time to change that!

Best ski resort I’ve ever been to. Amazing service, food, and the runs are great! The groomers get a lot of the blues and all of the greens groomed almost every night, and the blacks are amazing for more advanced skiers! I personally enjoyed the blacks over by the Mayflower lift, but they’re super hard, so unless you’re an advanced skier, I wouldn’t try them! The lift lines can get super long if you don’t wake up and get over there early enough, so make sure you’re over there and getting your skis on BEFORE Carpenter and Silver Lake open. Anyway, this resort is amazing, and it’s kept me coming back for 8 years!
Mason Thomas — Google review
Though the base lodges can give you the impression the place is super crowded the mountain is big enough so skiers are spread far and wide. Like Alta this resort is skiers only. Lots of great trails for all abilities. Lines for the most part are short to non existent... during the week at least. We don't do weekends.

This review concerns the skiing activity at Deer Valley. My son and I skied here on a snowy Friday and enjoyed it a great deal. We parked in the free parking and took the shuttle provided up to the base, which worked well for us. The high-speed lifts get you lots of vertical and the staff are very professional and capable. We enjoyed a delicious lunch from their famous cuisine. Lunch hour seating was at a premium, however. My only complaint is that the lifts gather at the top of the ski runs, which means you may end up at the bottom at the wrong lift....

My favorite Utah resort on a “bad” snow day. Runs are always very well maintained and groomed. It’s a huge resort with tons of lifts.
It’s very well staffed, and the staff care a lot about your experience.
It’s a great ski resort to check out if you are 1. a local with an Ikon pass or 2. made of money.
5/5!

We didn't stay at the property, we just ate there. Excellent service by some fun Jamaican servers. They always add a fun spice to your experience. Other than the fact that it was ridiculously expensive, it was fun.

The pros:
*Parking lots are full but everyone hangs out in the lodge so there are no lines at the lifts. Interesting that no one actually skis when they come here
*Hot water in the bathrooms is unlike any other resort in Utah
*not young kids running lifts. All older professional people
*It's not like other resorts where you ski through nature and picturesque mountains. It's more like skiing in people's back yards which is really weird. One of the chairlifts literally takes you over a road

The Park City Main Street Historic District is a largely Victorian-era district that, after a fire in 1898, was reconstructed in various architectural styles. Today, it houses over 100 boutiques, 50 restaurants, and plenty of outdoor adventure companies.
Wow. So many amazing art galleries in one place! And plenty of shopping and great food options as well. I was very impressed that even while looking at photographs, paintings and fur coats that cost more than my car (and some more than my first house) that everyone was so nice and friendly. Not even one person was like that sales lady on Rodeo Drive in the movie Pretty Woman, and many seemed to genuinely enjoy my South Carolina drawl and comparing stories of our travels. I didn't get to ski, but there were plenty of families there that seemed to be having a blast. We found really beautiful views, a wonderful atmosphere, and a truly welcoming group of people.

Whenever you're up in Park City you always have to walk along Historic Main. Be aware that this is a tourist location, so you're looking at higher priced dining experiences and somewhat overpriced goods. But if price isn't too much of a concern then you'll be able to enjoy local artists and galleries, bookstores and confectionaries, and some pretty tasty pubs and restaurants. If you're in Utah for the ski season this can be a fun place to hit after the slopes

Christmas snow globe tour was a little bummer. The website made it seem it would be a little more interactive. Some are spaced really far apart. Had a little higher expectations considering it is in Park City. The decorations on Main Street was cute. Loved the tree.

A nice looking town with lots of high to overpriced shops to browse. Got some good exercise walking down then up hill. It does have a trolley to help people out. Occupied a couple of hours looking around. Asked a shop clerk about public rest rooms and she rudely told us they were next door. They got the job done at best. It is interesting how such upscale towns have such poorly maintained facilites for people that are spending money in the town.

We had so much fun but the slide and coaster combo is expensive. Especially since you are only able to go one time. For the same price you can do all of the activities as many times as you'd like at Snowbird.

Very fun activities and atmosphere. Some would say it isn't worth the price points because the attractions are definitely short. We rode the coaster for $36 a person and it was super fun and fast with great views, but lasted less than 5 minutes.

I'm glad we did this during our visit to Park City. Buy your tickets at the booth, ride the gondola up, and walk your sled about 1/4 mile over to the launch point. I believe their was a height requirement if you want to ride solo. Keep in mind, the sled is somewhat heavy so it may be tough for young ones to drag theirs. The lines can go quick unless you have a bunch of slow riders. You can send it and rip down the course however, if you don't break, you have more risk of crashing since you get quite a lot of speed. It surprised me how fast you were going. Overall the whole experience was worth the cost!
abiracmd — Google review
It's pretty expensive for what it is, plus you have to drag your sled from the lift to the start of the run. Only 3 lanes were open, so it took a bit until we could get on. Still, the kids enjoyed it, and sometimes that's all you need as a parent. I do wish the ride was longer.
Plenty of parking during the summer. If you don't have another activity planned, it's a decent alternative.

This was a much better experience than we thought it would be going in. The slide was alot of fun, the coaster ride was even better. Located at the top of Park City on Deer Valley's Summit, this renowned resort offers skiing, snowboarding and other activities in winter. The resort bustles with beautiful autumn colors and offers a true ski-in/ski-out experience.
Park City Mountain is great for so many reasons. The mountain itself is huge especially after the recent connection with The Canyons. It’s also very easy to get around for such a large mountain. There’s a ton of terrain for every level of experience. The town of Park City is also a great ski town with everything from cool dive bars to high end art galleries. Highly recommended!

Neat place to check out even in the off season. We did the alpine slide and it was pretty fun. You take a ski lift to the starting point and it's a pretty long ride to the bottom. We did wish they had a ticket option that would give you more than one ride but we had a good time. There are multiple restaurants and shops to check out and several other attractions. City buses also stop here often so you could explore other nearby points of interest with ease.

Amazing routes. All skill ranges. Relearned boarding the hard way. Spent a couple days on Park City Mountain. Highly recommended Canyons Village for Intermediate- Advanced as it’s always a little less crowded with the kiddos and beginners. Or stay near the tops of the peaks and send harder routes. Favourite had to be monkey powder (black) where you ski through some tight forest and tree line. Can get very skill heavy.
Had amazing fresh powder and snow days the week of Christmas through new year.
Routes in the morning were a little delayed on opening. Cause of heavy snow fall. If you’re going to park at the base of the mountains by the lifts plan on getting there early, like 7:30am. Gear up and get in line by 8. Otherwise be prepared to be behind hoards of people in line for the base lifts.

I am extremely happy with my experience here! I am still learning how to ski, while my boyfriend has been snow boarding for years, and we were both able to enjoy the mountain together. There were tons of trail options available for all skill levels and the maps were easy to navigate. One of my most absolute favorite things about Park City, and the reason I’m writing this review, was the staff! Starting from parking, to the season pass office, etc, we were greeted with friendly staff who were more than willing to answer questions. I was AMAZED with the hospitality provided. The park “hosts” greeted us on the mountain and even on the lifts, giving us all the great tips and tricks to make our day fun. There were multiple occasions where we weren’t sure where to go, and all we had to do was turn around and find a person in a red shirt who happily gave us direction. Even the mountain safety staff was beyond kind! Special shout out to Jeff in the mountain safety team - I was moving slow at the end of the day and he took the time to make sure my boyfriend and I were okay and safe as we made our final run down the mountain. So far this is my favorite ski experience I have had and I can’t wait to come back. We even saw moose at the end of our day!!!! So cool!! 10/10 highly recommend!!

Awesome place to ski! There is definitely something for everyone. We personally, preferred the Canyons side. It's more open with more runs and less crowds. PC is also Sno-Go friendly and we had a ron of fun riding them down the slopes. We will definitely return!

Not worthy of even 1 star. Disgusting, rude and unprofessional customer service at the ticket office by Darrell Evans. This man should not be allowed anywhere near paying customers!!! I will never ever set foot in Park City again. The lift lines were over 2 hours long, Yes 2 hours!!! See the photos...you pay $264 for a day of skiing except you don't ski, you spend the day in long, long lines just to get on a lift. The prices are super expensive. For example, a half day ticket will cost you $211 for 4 hours of skiing. DONT COME HERE!!! GO SKI ELSEWHERE!! MR OWENS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSING SOME VERY LOYAL CUSTOMERS AS WELL AS OUR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS!! LEARN TO BE RESPECTFUL OR GET OUT OF THE BUSINESS! Park City, shame on you for taking people's hard earned money to have them stand in line for hours. And...for hiring someone like Mr. Owens to assist your customers. He should be taking out the trash that way it matches his professionalism! Park City your loss is Jackson Hole's gain! BYE BYE BYE!!!

Excellent place for first time skiers! The mountain wasn’t crowded on Wednesday or Thursday, and we were able to get right on lift. The routes were great because even at the top of mountain you could take a green route, so as a beginner you could still go to top. Homerun was THE most fun route, 3.5 miles of cross country turns and then some steeper slopes with the best views EVER! The snow was well maintained and powdery, a perfect spot for beginners learning. The whole lodge was convenient and easy to get around walking in your ski boots (parking, food, rental equipment, bathrooms are all in main building at bottom of mountain).

Nice little town, specially if you are a skier ⛷️ we stay for two nights at the Marriot mountain vacation club, and enjoy the time and place. Restaurants are a bit pricey and during September to November many places closed down. People are friendly, if you are a skier you will enjoy a lot this place and probably will pay more than we did as we stayed during the off season.

Park city mountain is my favorite mountain. It is well maintained and it's huge. The free shuttle system is absolutely incredible. This has been my second year traveling out west to visit this mountain. It's always a blast and there's many bathrooms and places to eat all around the mountain

So, I’m definitely more of a Brighton girl, but Park City is starting to grow on me. It’s truly a different experience every time you’re there. I mean, it’s so big, how can it not be?? If it’s your first time here, I’d recommend starting at Canyons Village. I just think it’s more fun over there. Work your way over to the other side of the mountain if you need to. The coolest part about that side is the Town Lift, which takes you right into town. And, there’s a free shuttle that takes you to each base, so you can get lost and still make it back to your car.

Wether you are a beginner skier or a pro the Park City Mountain is the ideal place to hone and practice your skills. They feature one of the longest in the USA green runs -3.5 miles long. It’s a perfect place for the beginners and families with small kids. They even have a small ice rink. Although I saw four years old kids navigate blues like no tomorrow. The ski school offers all day long kids lessons, half a day adult lessons or private instructors. All together the resort employs over 100 instructors. The ski area is endless, they have so many slopes with various degree of difficulty and the Epic lift pass also works with the Canyons near by. You can spend a week hear and still not to hit all the runs. The resort ski area features many equipment rental companies but if you rent from Legacy Sports Rentals you can valet your equipment overnight. Also keep in mind that locker rentals are on daily basis only but if you need to store helmets and boots overnight you can rent a valet cubby right next to the lockers. There is a plethora of dining options, all pricey as expected at places like these. The quality of food versus prices definitely needs improvement. Vending machines are selling water for $5 a small bottle. After a weekend of skiing you will be ready to sell a kidney to cover the cost. All of the staff working the resort: ski valets, instructors, rental personnel, administrators were helpful and friendly. If you love snow slopes and snow sports and have some expandable cash Park City is the place to be.

Omg to much to say! Library and its cafe was great! I loved their activities and food. And all the small art shops are beautiful! Definitely a highlight! Don’t forget Roots! The small clothing shop is great! We go every year!

Only have great things to say. We were comparing where to go skiing and boarding and park city fit our needs the most. Staff are awesome and helpful. The atmosphere, views and people make Park City a special place! From beginner to advanced this mountain has it all.
Go during Sundance, ZERO crowds, no lines!

DISGUSTING ATTITUDE AND POUR COSTUMER SERVICE FROM “manager” DARRELL EVANS!!! HE HAS TO BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!
CAN NOT EXPRESS ENOUGH WITH WORDS HOW ANGRY WE ARE RIGHT NOW AND HOW DISRESPECTFUL THIS PERSON TREATED US!!!
Came to ski ( from Miami Feb 24th to 28th ) in Canons and Park City, but due to the incredible amount of people ( pictures/videos attached), we couldn't do much. We arrived early ( Saturday the 25th ) and started the line for the gondola at 8:30 a.m., and after almost 3 hours in line, we were able to get in the gondola to start the day around noon!
Almost four hours in the morning were wasted making a line and using a gondola just to encounter hundreds of people making more lines for chairlifts.
We paid ($250 plus tax per day, almost $270 ) for a full day of skiing and we only got maybe 2 hours of skiing.
Some chairlifts close at 3:30 p.m. as well. We are coming from out of state and we are on vacation for only three days of skiing.
When we arrived at the ticket window and explained our concern to this employee, (”manager”) the lack of arrogance and audacity was beyond insolence. He did not care about anything we were saying. He was not willing to help us in any way and was making fun of us.
Here we are on our last day of skiing and wanted to ski for half a day and the price for a half-day ticket is almost $230!!!! The full price is $250, ridiculous!
After the explanation that was provided to this employee, he refused to assist us in any way. When I asked if I could take a picture of his name tag, he offered to pose with a thump up and a big smile! That was when we lost it!
I don’t think I can describe the frustration!!!
I don’t understand why this company has this kind of employee working for them.
Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional!!!
We could have paid for half a day, but his attitude ruined the whole experience and we decided just to leave. This place is not worth it!!!
Not coming back again to be treated this way!
Darrel Evans’s supervisor was not helping either. After we left for a few minutes, we needed to speak to Darrel’s supervisor, but he seemed not to care either!
WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!

Great customer service. I got locked out of my account, and they got me back in immediately. The slopes are great and there are a lot of tracks. I've had a season pass here before and I was happy with the variety of park, tree, and regular runs.

I'm not a skier so we bought non-skier gondola lift passes up the mountain. Really spectacular views. The mid-mountain village was a great way to spend a couple hours chillin. Definitely recommend.

Love PC!! Great terrain, Well maintained equipment. Attentive staff. I always feel safe here. Food is good Apres Ski is excellent. Thos is one of the easiest trips from airport to lifts that you will find.

Expensive resort. If you want to pay the premium of $300+ day pass by all means go ahead. Please do your own research well before entering the resort. I suggest checking out other alternative resorts for better pricing. There are way cheaper resorts that are near Park City that are $50-$100 for a day pass. I paid about $300 for a lift ticket without a lesson. I only went to this resort because I thought they had price options for the beginner slopes with the magic carpet, but they did not. It was too late to go elsewhere by the time I got there. Beautiful place and friendly field operators. The customer service on the phone was degrading me during the call. He was sarcastic, rude, and made remarks. He was not helpful at all. I definitely will not return to this resort and not recommend it to my family and friends due to my experience with their office customer service.

Beautiful breathtaking resort. We had gone early December, so more than a few runs and lifts were closed because of how early it was. But there were plenty of blues and greens to keep us busy and challenged for our level.
Bus system was straightforward from the main mountain to the canyon side, but was fairly confusing to get back and accidentally went the wrong way. If all the lifts were open though you could get there via lift.
Not crowded. No waits. Well maintained slopes. Overall, really great

First of the ski season and we are looking forward to seeing 👀 what the ❄️ will bring!!
I posted the early season prices.
Absolutely 💯 amazing.
I'm coming up to the largest ski area in the United States. The lifts are top notch and the crowds are mitigated by the express online order and outside expedited fulfillment.
On the high valley transit system, you can visit the rest of the best ski resorts in America.
Family friendly, plenty of facilities that use zero waste toilet 🚻s.
I recommend you go see for yourself.
I'm sure you're done with any other resorts.
Summer is not a down time for the resort either. Just went with my girlfriend to the adventure park.
Longest Alpine Slide in the country with a mountain coaster as well!!!!

I had an issue with blisters on my ankles after day 1, the ski patrol picked me up in the golf cart and took me to the first aid office and bandaged them up so I could enjoy two more days of skiing. I even got a snowmobile ride back. Q was super helpful and really takes his job seriously. I will be skiing Park City and the Canyons again next year. Thank you Robert E.

Awesome! The food and resort was amazing! It had many choices of food, and places to go! The skiing was great; it had ski runs for all levels. It is a little pricey but it was worth it!
The Guardsmans Pass Overlook is a scenic spot in Utah that offers breathtaking views of the fall season. Late September to early October is the best time to visit as the colors are amazing. The area has restroom facilities and 6 parking slots available for visitors, with additional seating provided by 2 benches. While there is also a hiking trail, it may be closed during certain times of the year.
It has one of the best views for Fall season. There are about 6 parking slots and restroom is available. Also, you can enjoy the view by side area, which has 2 benches.
I saw the hiking trail, but I when I visited in Oct, it was closed.

Nice drive that we take every so often when we want to get out. My parents choose this drive often as well. When the leaves are changing in the fall, it is beautiful!! At the top there is a place to look around and read an informational board. A trail begins just across the street from there.

Absolutely stunning views of the central Wasatch. It can get really crowded up here in the summer so it's best to cwr pool, ride your bike up, or hike up. The road is closed in the winter for obvious reasons.

Nice drive up from Park City (September) and a beautiful view. Technically, there is no parking at the location and space is intended only for drop off. I did see a van drop off a number of cyclists while there. There are trails leading upward from the parking area and I did a short walk up the hill. Only did about 1/2 mile since technically, I wasn’t supposed to park there.

This place has improved. Not as crowded as it used to be. The views are awesome. End of September is a great time to drive through. The fall colors are amazing.

Really pretty. Peak of fall colors.
Parking at the overlook is a nightmare. Feels like no where. Turning around on high up cliffs. The going east approach is really steep. I was a hot mess for quite a bit of it. Beware to those with fear of heights in moving vehicles.

This is a crossroads to many great hiking and biking trails and absolutely stunning views. There is no parking at the Overlook, but there is a few benches, trash bins and a restroom. Pay attention if driving, there are a lot of hikers and bikers on the road.

It was really cool flying a drone over and around the overlook. Got some awesome footage. Not a whole lot of parking room. I had to wait on the side until someone moved.
Centry Kenyon — Google review
Amazing views, well worth the drive. We didn't see any wildlife and the cyclists were everywhere but all of them are extremely nice and it waa a pleasure to know them and understand more about their passion for cycling. Recommend a small suv, car or jeep, the narrow roads and steep curves can be stressful in larger vehicles.

Great view, but no legal parking at the overlook. There is a pit toilet. This area is a drop off point for starting a hike or bike on the Wasatch Crest trail or for a hike into Bonanza Flat below. It looks like a good place to park, but parking is not allowed.

I didn’t even know this place existed. What a beautiful museum. My daughter had an assignment for school to go to a museum with sculptures. This was the closest museum. It’s a beautiful museum with beautiful paintings, sculptures and a cute sculpture garden. I would never have known about this place If her teacher never suggested it. The building was in a great location however Google takes you to the side of the building where there’s no parking and hard to find the door. So drive past the building to the next turn on the east side and you’ll see the huge parking lot. I loved the local art and the way the rooms were designed. My favorite part was definitely the sculpture garden. It had beautiful sculptures and a beautiful garden for pictures. I will definitely return again.

We came down to see an exhibit, and yet again, I'm impressed by this museum. It's such a good blank canvas AND a beautiful space on its own. They had an art project (making book marks) going on in the basement, so we joined in, and the staff is amazing. They were all kind and helpful. The children's intetactive space in the basement is great-- blocks for building, puzzles to solve, play food and Cafe area. We loved it all!

Breathtaking.
This place is incredible. We drove the 45 minutes from salt lake not knowing how this place was going to be. I brought my teen daughter who loves art and I adored that the bulk of the main floor is art done by teens in high school. Every turn uncovered something more amazing.
This building is the true gem.. the floors, the walls, the lighting, the windows!! That spiral staircase?? GOODNESS.!!
We will be back. For what. I don’t know. But I can’t wait.

Such beautiful, breathtaking works of art in here. I'm glad there's no entry charges, it was so calm. Would be nice to see more pieces inspired by other religions and cultures, there was a good amount of diverse but a loooot of Christian pieces. Still they were all very gorgeous. Glad I stopped by :)

Visited a couple times and adore this museum, it’s beautiful art, kind staff, and architecture. In fact, I loved it so much we had our wedding reception there! It was perfect in every way. A great price for a wedding venue, perfect space (indoors, I love the courtyard), large kitchen for food prep, kind and helpful staff, overhead music, a TV for our slideshow, beautiful spaces for pictures, galleries that guest could roam, and perfect setup by the staff before. I can’t recommend this place more!!! Pictures below!

The museum is very beautiful, large and spacious! It has an exhibition inside and outside, so if you want to enjoy a moment in peace I recommend you go to the garden. It has a special floor for children to play and has other activities to do. It has a gift shop if you want to buy something, it is suitable for wheelchairs, since the corridors are wide and they have an elevator.

My sister and I have been looking for hidden gems to visit and the Springville Museum of Art is a must see. With multiple rooms of different styles and aesthetics and a statue courtyard, you’ll wonder if you’ve walked into a movie! There’s art here for everyone. If you prefer traditional, modern, oil, acrylic, bronze, porcelain, pottery, paper, photography or anything in between. Great atmosphere and a great experience.

I photographed a wedding here and I AM ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED with Springville Museum of Art and their outdoor venue space. I love that the couple can choose where inside or outside they want to hold the ceremony and any room inside is beautiful. At Jessica and Jay's wedding they opted to have a standing ceremony in one of the gallery rooms instead of seats and there they shared their vows. Then we went outside for dinner, dancing, desert and their send off. It was such a beautiful space and I was so impressed with all of the great photo spots, the staff and how perfect everything felt!

I enjoyed the gallery space at the Springville Museum of Art. I wasn’t able to explore the first floor because they were installing a new exhibit but 2nd floor had just enough content for me to spend time with. The Inherit collaborative collection was very interesting to view. I found this art museum a great place for beginners to come explore. The collection isn’t too big to be overwhelming, the plaques and descriptions come with questions to help people think about art in new ways, and they have unique, niche collections. I thought it was so striking that SMA has a whole Soviet collection of art and I really enjoyed viewing those pieces. I definitely think if you have the time you should take a visit to the Springville Museum of Art— they have much more to explore than one may think!!

The Canyons Village at Park City ski resort offers a variety of amenities for skiers and snowboarders, including 4,000 acres of terrain with 182 runs. The resort is connected to the Park City base area by the eight-passenger Quicksilver Gondola. Beginners can enjoy exploring the upper mountain green runs while intermediates can delight in blue cruiser runs.
The mountain is great, not much open but it is early so was to be expected. But the parts that are open are well maintained. We love that the mountain opened early this year as it is not as crowded as it normally would be which I love. Hardly any wait at the lifts. We will be back. The people working the mountain and in the shops in the village were amazing and super helpful. We enjoyed Canyons Village better than Mountain Village.

Had a great time! I just wish that the green hill wasn’t the end of other runs. You have lots of beginners mixed with more experienced skiers. I’m sure they won’t change anything over this review, but just for anyone who is at a beginner level I would look for a more beginner friendly mountain.

No cleaning service but towels available. Only drawers were the night tables and tiny drawers in a small TV stand, so limited place to put clothes. Towel hook on door missing. Toilet was wobbly and not really safe to sit down on. Toilet paper rack was right over the toilet seat on one side. Had to be careful when sitting to avoid injuring myself! Who thought that was a good place to put it?? Had to return home a day early due to an emergency and they would not refund us one day. Hotels would be more accommodating. Only one restaurant was open for lunch and dinner, but food was great. Chair lifts varied in operation and was expensive to use, especially if you wanted to bring your bike up. Had questions but no one was available at the lobby entrance. Basically huge difference in experience from ski season.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this ski village, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. Here are the highlights:
1. Convenient Location: The village is just a 30-minute drive from Salt Lake City International airport, making it easily accessible whether you’re flying in or driving. The proximity is a major plus.
2. Accommodating Hotels: Not only are the nearby hotels close, but they are also exceptionally accommodating. It’s reassuring to know that comfort and convenience are top priorities.
3. If you are interested in ski lessons, Canyons Village offers child lessons grouped by ability level and similar age range.
4. Well-Designed Runs: The ski runs are meticulously set up, providing an exhilarating experience for skiers and snowboarders alike. The mountain terrain is both challenging and enjoyable..
5. Close to Town: Being near Park City center adds to the overall appeal. After a day on the slopes, you can explore the local scene, dine at nearby restaurants, or simply soak in the charming atmosphere..
6. Free Shuttle Service: The area goes the extra mile by offering a free shuttle service to and from the village. It’s a thoughtful touch that makes transportation hassle-free..
7. Cozy Fire Pits: Along the walkway, there are fire pits where you can sit around and watch others walking by and skiers..
In summary, this village area combines convenience, quality, and warmth—a winning combination. Whether you’re a seasoned skier or a first-timer, I highly recommend it.
Cheers to memorable moments on the slopes!

I love that they have fireplaces outside for guests. It would be awesome if they had a little coffee/tea/cocoa stand, so you don't have to go inside the restaurant, especially now 2022. I saw something like that but it only seem to sell alcohol. Still would recommend

Great resort!! And helpful people working here! It seems like it became vogue online to bash the ownership (Vail), but I’ve never had a bad experience here. Highly recommended! PS I do wish you would get the avalanche control at Murdock Peak area done more often/faster- would be great if that was open more!

Great location able to ski- in and ski-out using the Sunrise lift. Also only 5 min walk to the Orange Bubble or Gondola. Lots of new restaurants in the area and good areas for apres ski drinks. Rooms are perfect for our needs with a kitchen with dishwasher and a spa-bath. Carpets were a little worn, but that's typical of ski places.

We stayed in unit U5. Great location with walking distance to cabriolet lift and heated outdoor pool. Just a few things I would change about this unit. The dryer is not vented to the outside, so it does not dry anything well. The upstairs is all one area, which is fine, but the bathroom door is open at the top. The light from that is very bright, waking everyone if you turn the light on. It is well stocked with everything you need for cooking.

As amazing as Park City Canyons is in the winter with their pristine powder and incredible activities for all family members, visiting in the Spring and Summer to enjoy their trails is also STELLAR. The ghetto mountain. Epic pass is cheap, you get what you pay for. Everything in this resort is falling apart. From the completely destroyed pavement at the parking lot giving you a rally raid vibes to the abandoned not groomed trails. Horrible. Super busy, rude poor people. Not well maintained. Garbage. The falls are accompanied by frozen sections that enhance its beauty making it an ideal spot for sightseeing. It provides an opportunity for a short hike along the river, showcasing a series of waterfalls providing picturesque views.
Beautiful falls along U.S. route 189. Passed through at the beginning of February here while on a trip to see the Ice Castles in Midway and this was a very nice side stop during the trip. The snow and frozen sections of some of the falls made it even more breath taking! Well worth the stop!!

Great experience and worth the visit . Make sure you view the falls from both view points. Pool water is fun for the children to play in and throw stones, but water is cold. Great story behind the falls, read and let your mind imagine.

Definitely a great place to get out and walk around when the weather is nice! I walked along the Provo river trail that goes past the falls and it's a very easy walk. I also got to walk into the falls a little and it's so beautiful. Truly a gem local to Provo.

This a beautiful place. Nice hike along the River and has a several water falls. This is a nice ares to come with you hall family. It has picnic ares. Just a beautiful place to spend the day.
Teri Palacios — Google review
Well, it was a beautiful day to go when I headed out there on May 9th, 2023, but it'll be a while before anyone can get reasonably close to the actual falls. A massive avalanche has essentially wiped out the path, and while you can technically hike on it, I wouldn't recommend doing that.
Jeff Of The Mountains — Google review
Overall, I had a really good time hiking up to the waterfall! It's been a few years, so I was excited to see what's changed. One of those changes being that there's some construction fencing up at the base of the water fall. I'm not sure why, but it does kind of detract from the experience a little bit. Since it's still cold outside, there was some snow and ice left on the trail, but not so much so that it made the hike hard. I will say that the view was very beautiful and definitely worth it for the short little hike. I will say that it probably would have been better to go a little bit later in the day when the sun is up higher because being in the shadows was a little on the chilly side. Anyways, fun little hike that doesn't take too long and still lets you get outside!

Anyone can do it. It’s a short walk, about .5 miles on a paved path from the parking lot. However, we tried climbing up to the falls and it was pretty sketchy, so be careful.

Beautiful water falls and the colors during the fall are breath taking! Take a ride or walk down the trail that connects, or fly fish in the stream!! You’ll love it!

Unbelievably Amazing water falls! They are huge. This place is amazing for kids and adults. Great place for family's who want to go on walks or those aggressive bike riders! One of the best parts is that the falls are right off the highway! Makes it easy to get to and get some amazing pictures. You can hike up to be closer to the falls and get an even more amazing view!

Visited Bridal Veil Falls Area in May 2023 Beautiful Falls, However with the Heavy Run- off from the Major Snow Utah received this Year. The Park portion was closed, along with the River. But you could still take in the sights from the Parking Area
tom thompson — Google review
We just went and it's mostly closed, major avalanche. We hiked up it for a bit (not recommended, very dangerous) and to get to where the path used to be we were on top of about 30-50 feet of snow. Definitely wait until it's cleared before you plan on spending time at the falls.
Joshua Black (Josh) — Google review
Pathways, trails, and main parking lot still closed from avalanche. The falls were glorious, as always, but the best view at this point is the viewing area further up the highway. You can still park inside the main gate and walk to the picnic area and enjoy the river and trees. No bathrooms. The debris flow is going to take months to clean up, and the upper part of Old Provo Canyon Road is in a serious state of erosion. Watch your step and don't try to hike on the unstable avalanche leftovers.
TheClumsyJedi — Google review
Just a short 15 minute drive from Downtown Provo, Bridal Veil Falls is a must visit. With an easily accessible pull off and trails, visitors can spend a whole day exploring the area. Currently under an avalanche, but still as scenic as ever.

Beautiful waterfall with great trails accessible to anyone for viewing. The remaining avalanche debris is definitely drawing a crowd
The Seven Peaks Water Park Provo is a sprawling 26-acre recreational area that includes exciting features such as twisting water slides, a wave pool, and a relaxing lazy river. Additionally, visitors have the option to rent cabanas and enjoy food from various vendors on-site.
This is a super great Water park
They don't Allow food inside
You can maybe take drinks not sure
You have parking outside and the lines to go in are not bad,
You need to to know they have food places inside bit pricey but not bad
Super fun for the family thou
Overall I had. A great experience

We had fun (visiting for the first time). The lazy River was awesome. The slides looked fun. The kids area needed some love. It looked like it might have been updated a couple years ago. Might need a face lift or two. The wave pool was the most disappointing. It made waves for ten minutes and then you had to wait fifteen minutes for them to start again. Seems kind of silly to have to wait so long for waves that only last for so little time. We had fun and won't return to this location. Maybe salt lake has a better one.
Aaron Orosz — Google review
Let's see. We'll, for little kiddos there was pretty much only the wave pool running (June 2019). The splash pad, kiddo pool and lazy river were all closed. The wave pool was fun though. We made it to a tiger show (see pic attached), though I'm somewhat conflicted about the morality of using animals in that way, so from my perspective it wasn't a plus or minus. The new pass of all passes costing extra for weekends meant that the Saturday we went wasn't busy at all and that was nice.

Great place to take kids to! The Avalanche is a personal favorite as well as the wave pool. Food is good but definitely there are better options. Snacks are a must bring item.

It was nice weather and almost empty. 🤯 I loved it. The lazy river and the kiddie pool were shut down though. 😭

Didn’t think I’d miss the old ownership, but this place sucks now.
- no separate line if you’ve prepaid for tickets. So prepare to wait with everyone else
- everyone who wants to use a tube needs to pay $6. No longer renting per tube. Garbage.
- it’s just as dirty and gross as it was before.

Awesome center tons of fun, lots of tubes and great new slides
Zachary Leach — Google review
I remember coming here years ago when I was a kid and had so much fun! I'm happy to say that I still had a ton of fun here this weekend. Some of the slides weren't open until the afternoon, but I know it's their first season since being closed for a bit, so I'm sure they're still working out a few things. I'll definitely be coming back, and if you need a fun place to stay cool this summer, this is it!
Jason McEntire — Google review
0-2 is free, under 48 inches is about 15 dollars, and above 48 inches is about 20 dollars. If your child is taller then 42 inches but shorter then 48 inches, they can ride only one big slide. If you rent a tube, you can ride two more slides. They don't allow outside food and drinks that aren't sealed. For that reason, I'm getting them 3 stars. I don't know what places now days don't allow your own food at a pool.
It was still fun. There was a line to get into the pool at 10. The line moved very fast. They have umbrellas with chairs. They have a few pavilions which you have to rent in order to use them.
Oh you also to pay for parking, which costs $7.
The Bean Life Science Museum at Brigham Young University offers a range of animal dioramas and educational experiences centered around environmental awareness. Although it may be smaller in size, the museum boasts an impressive variety of animal exhibits, including interactive displays that engage visitors of all ages. Admission is free, and guests can park north of the entrance before providing their license plate number to front desk staff. The museum has made significant upgrades to every exhibit, resulting in an overall high-quality experience for families and individuals alike.
This museum is a bit small for the high ratings, but really neat. There is still quite the variety of animals represented. Some exhibits are interactive, too. It’s free, so just park north of the entrance and then you’ll need to give your license plate number to the front desk receptionists. Great for families.

It’s free, but does that mean it’s good….?
As much as I love seeing dead animals, I was getting major side eye. Especially from the zebras. Don’t even get me started on the second floor because I don’t even know what’s going on up there.

What a wonderful gem on the BYU campus. This museum shows the wonderful diversity of life around the planet and you get a true appreciation of the scale and size of many animals you would never have the opportunity to see in person.
They also had an informative and interesting lecture on tundra habitats, with things that the kids, and adults, can touch and feel to get a true appreciation for the animals that live in such harsh conditions.
My family and I enjoyed our visit very much would recommend it to anyone.

Make sure when you arrive to get your license plate number for your parking voucher as I didn't see any signs saying that until you get to the entrance.
It is free and they do take cash donations.
The place is a good size museum. Lots to see.
It is part of the BYU so there are religious pictures there.
They have a small little play area for the kids to get their energy out.
Really nice museum. Loved everything. My kids loved it. Very educational.

This place is great for kids to come and learn about the animal world. For a small location they have a LOT of exhibits. They have a recently constructed kids area that is very fun. There's a lot of cool things to see here. Definitely worth a visit, especially because it's free admission!

The Bean Life Science Museum at Brigham Young University (BYU) is one of the best natural history museums I have ever visited. When I entered the museum, I was in awe of the stunning exhibits that showcased the natural world in all its glory. As a biologist and nature enthusiast, I found the displays informative, educational, and inspiring.
The museum is located on the BYU campus, and it is easy to find, with ample parking available. The building itself is modern and spacious, with large windows that allow natural light to flood the exhibits. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff eager to help me navigate the museum and answer any questions I had.
The museum is divided into several galleries, each focusing on a different aspect of the natural world. The galleries are beautifully designed, and the exhibits are arranged in a way that is easy to follow and understand. One of my favorite galleries was the Life Through Time exhibit, which showcases the evolution of life on Earth from its earliest beginnings to the present day. The exhibit features various fossils, specimens, and interactive displays that help visitors understand the complex history of life on our planet.
Another museum highlight is the Birds of the World exhibit, which features a stunning collection of over 800 species of birds from around the globe. The exhibit is arranged by region, and visitors can learn about the unique adaptations and behaviors of birds from different parts of the world. The museum also has an extensive collection of insects, including butterflies, moths, and beetles, displayed in their natural habitats.
In addition to the galleries, the museum also has an extensive collection of preserved specimens and research facilities that are used by BYU faculty and students. The museum is actively involved in scientific research and conservation efforts, and visitors can learn about ongoing projects and initiatives that are aimed at protecting and preserving our natural world.
The Bean Life Science Museum is a must-visit for anyone who loves nature and wants to learn more about the amazing creatures that inhabit our planet. The exhibits are beautifully designed and informative, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend a visit to this museum to anyone who is looking for a fun and educational experience.
One thing that stood out to me during my visit was the museum's commitment to sustainability and conservation. The museum has implemented several green initiatives, including the use of energy-efficient lighting, recycling programs, and sustainable building practices. Additionally, the museum is actively involved in conservation efforts, and visitors can learn about the important role that museums play in protecting and preserving our natural world.
Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the Bean Life Science Museum at BYU. The museum is a beautiful and educational space that showcases the wonders of the natural world. Whether you are a student, a scientist, or a nature enthusiast, there is something for everyone at this amazing museum. I would highly recommend a visit to anyone who is looking for a fun and informative experience that will leave them with a greater appreciation for the beauty and complexity of our natural world.

The Brigham Young University Museum of Art (MOA) boasts a diverse collection of art spanning from religious to contemporary pieces. Its 10 galleries and sculpture garden offer visitors the opportunity to appreciate and understand the artwork on display. The museum is highly recommended for its prestigious status as one of the most renowned art museums in the American west, and it's also free! It provides an immersive experience for those who prefer physical viewing over digital means, showcasing numerous exceptional pictures and art pieces.
We visited the Museum of Art as part of our vacation. They gave the kids an Art Search which helped them look at and understand the pieces in the collection. It gave us a chance to see all of the exhibits and enjoy the conversations and time with our kids.

This is probably the most interesting museum I’ve ever visited! There weren’t many visitors when I arrived, so I was able to take my time navigating the museum. Both entrance and parking is free but you’ll need to enter through one of the campus entrances. The exhibits were eye catching, interesting and educational. I highly recommend!

You’d be sorely mistaken to think BYU’s art museum only houses religious and Western art (though it does own one of if now the largest collection of Maynard Dixon’s work). There’s currently an Anselm Kiefer!

Definitely a place worth visiting if you are in the area. The presentation (lighting and spacial placement) in this museum was very well done. The pieces themselves were obviously quite stunning and the location was really easy to access
Rachel Shuler — Google review
My initial thought was that this is a world class art museum. And it is, but the transition from masterpiece and priceless artifact to the "modern" exhibit and selection is really jarring.
Everyone knows modern art, by definition, is not art. It disposes thousands of years of tradition and craftsmanship that defined art up until the modern era. The German art exhibit and it's blurb on Nietzsche was very instructive to this point. "God is dead" and so are His artists.
I know the church retains artists to paint murals in the temples, but I think this museum should commission pieces for exhibits here as well. All kinds of art - paintings, statues, sculptures, glass, whatever - but it has to follow the rules.

Dating to 1875, this private Mormon school is known for its picturesque campus & athletics programs.
Great location, great professors, great education. Would highly recommend. For those concerned about it being owned and operated by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, some of my best student friends were Lutheran, Catholic and Muslim. Anyone can have a great experience there and get a world class education at the same time. I became a better and more capable person because of my time as a BYU Cougar. Wouldn't trade the experience for the world. "Enter to learn, go forth to serve."

Very bad experience - zero stars for customer service (I am not talking about testing department, which was very helpful for their area). We enrolled a high schooler into a credit recovery (2 part course, each 60 days), and the timer started on both at the same time (no warning when they charged me for two courses at the same time, I guess it all is in a small font I missed). Not only we lost $ for part two we did not even open, but we cannot extend or enroll again for a year. Hence we lose a whole year. Customer service (phone and email) was useless, zero empathy as well. Beware and may you not need their help if you are enrolled.

Outstanding university with a talented pool of students. Situated in one of the most breathtakingly scenic locations for a university campus, with stunning mountains on the doorstep of the school, your walks to class will be often awe-inspiring. There has been a lot of updating on the campus. Make no mistake, this is a unique environment that won't be for everyone. But for active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or those who like the clean-cut environment, it is a great place to get an education. Though it has a well-deserved reputation as being very conservative, you will find a lot more political diversity here than you expect on many issues. And with the majority of students from outside the state of Utah, in many ways, it is more diverse than any other school in Utah, and less in the "bubble" than critics often claim. Great place to get an education. And the cost for the value is incredible!

Great university! Amazing value for the price and I liked how it included a religious education. I have many fond memories of lots of classes that I took (in the psychology and business departments). If you’re looking for a school with high moral and ethical standards, then this is the place for you.
On the other hand, BYU might not be for everyone, to be honest. There is a strict honor code that all students must live by to keep a good standing with the university.
While there is always some room for activism to change the university's honor code standards, BYU is a private university and may not be required to make such changes.
If you're looking for a university in Utah Valley that does not hold students to the same moral standard as BYU, then Utah Valley University may be a better place to look for an education.
At the end of the day, I think that this is a great place to study for anyone who is looking for academic rigor, a religious education, and a university that holds a high moral standard.
Oh, and if you like chocolate milk, there's a lot of that. And there are lots of nice mountains that are right behind the school.

I went to school here for my bachelor's of science in electrical engineering. I love the campus! It's so clean and beautiful. The rankings change and speak for themselves but I've realized that often it's even better than the national rankings. This is because this school is a undergrad teaching focused school. We don't have the large state funds of other schools for research but we have some of the finest education in the world!
Known for deep powder snow, this longtime skiing area offers a wide variety of terrains.
Top flight slopes, quick lift times, and dispersed crowds even on a Saturday. Definitely a top tier spot for skiers coming to the area. We spent all morning and afternoon skiing, and we barely waited more than 5 mins at any lift. Views are spectacular, and you can find ever level of challenging run here. Highly recommend to all skiers

Alta Ski Area provided a transformative skiing experience, especially compared to the challenging conditions in Park City. The abundant snowfall created exceptional skiing conditions, making it feel like a completely different world from the previous day. The diverse terrain and pristine powder at Alta made for an unforgettable adventure, highlighting the resort's commitment to delivering an outstanding winter sports experience.

Maybe a little quieter than Snowbird, no snowboarders. Over half the trails are Black Diamonds, but most are accessible to a high intermediate skier. It's true ski-in from the lodges at the bottom, with a tow line at the bottom connecting the lifts back to the hotels. There are two restaurants on the slopes, one with a beer window onto the picnic deck. The ski school is at the bottom of the Sunnyside lift, which is getting a big renovation this year. We went right before Easter and conditions were still pretty good: fresh powder the first day but a little slushy on the last.

A smaller resort but many advanced and intermediate options. Since some in our group we're intermediate and most were advanced or experts, we were able to take a lift and do different runs and end up in the same place. We also as skiers appreciated the fact that snowboarders are not allowed.

Skiing was great. The staff are amazing.
The chili soup is a disaster . They can do better when they charge so much for a “cardboard soup “

We definitely will go back to Alta to ski
It’s only 30-40 ride from Salt Lake City and parking is easy

Best skiing in the world. Crazy amounts of snow and my favorite terrain ever. Facilities are really old but that’s what is really cool about it. It’s all about the actual skiing. It’s mainly locals who can ski like no other resorts population. They don’t allow snowboarders which I absolutely love. They really do ruin the mountain for everyone, sorry snowboarders. You have to pay for parking on the weekend but it’s not horrible and a good way to guarantee you get a spot, however I leave 4 stars because getting there is so ridiculous it’s almost not worth it some days. I got to the base of the canyon at 7:50am a few weeks ago and didn’t get to the resort till 12:30pm. Needs to be fixed asap. I could have driven to Vegas in that time, however, that’s not really the resorts problem. Love Alta, take away the canyon issue and I would ski there every single time

I visited Alta Ski Area in February 2019, right before COVID 19 officially announced in the US and the quarantine got started. It was pretty lonely at that time. The area was closed for Skiing but still there was lots of snow. The place is very scenic, lots of mountains and trees. There are many streams of fresh water flowing in the area. The hidden lake hike and the lake itself are very beautiful. The area was also pretty clean and well managed.

This is one of the prettiest ski resorts in North America. The mountains are absolutely amazing. The ski runs are great. Access to the parking lot was not too bad, especially now that there is a reservation system. I would highly recommend Alta for a great ski destination.

I really like Alta. It gets a lot of snow. It's not as big or as difficult as Snowbird. It doesn't allow snowboarders. But despite that, it's just right.
If you're teaching little kids who aren't experienced, you'll have much better time in Alta than in Snowbird. I highly recommend it for families with small kids who are learning skiing. The lift and the terrain for kids is just perfect in Alta for that purpose.
It's not all perfect, and Alta's very expensive. Parking access could definitely be improved. The parking reservations for weekends are just painful but apparently necessary.
Every time I come to Alta I end up loving it. Snowbird just grinds on me, but the terrain is amazing, so I generally prefer Snowbird these days... But, Alta is just a really nice place when it comes to skiing, any I've never had a bad experience there. Check it out if you have a chance.

Alta, you were PERFECT.
The division of the mountain into intermediate/beginner and expert made it so easy to find the lifts and runs that were right. My friend was able to focus on greens and I could still find more funky terrain/blues while staying together.
Powder was insane, parking was easy, ticket options were diverse and we had an awesome day! Can wait to come back.

Great ski area for the people who love skiing. I wish I could go there all the time. It has an old school vibe so if you’re looking for a fancy resort this is not it.
Eugene Goldfarb — Google review
Alta is one of my favorite places on Earth. Their ski school is fantastic, the lifts are well run and organized, and the terrain includes everything from beginner runs to death-defying insanity, with plenty of everything in between. Due to the topography, Alta gets some of the highest snow totals in Utah. It's also beautiful in summer with quite a few trails around the area, camping, and a welcome retreat from valley heat.
It's definitely a skier's paradise, and that sums up the ethos - its not focused on après ski or the resort experience, but if you want world class skiing, this is the right place. They've long since decided to keep Alta skiers only and not allow snowboarders on the lifts, so if you ride, you'll find similar terrain just west at Snowbird. For terrain parks with rails, jumps, boxes, and more, Brighton is probably your best bet. For a traditional ski experience, there's no place like Alta.

What sets alta apart is how long the powder lasts. It’s truely in a class of it’s own imop. Why that is I have no clue but I think it’s because the expert skiers are enjoying new terrain opening after storms and then there’s harder areas near beginner territory that many people don’t hit.
I also love the hard trails and then there’s a nice mix of beginner terrain as well.
Parking isn’t awful and there is an average mix of food options.
If you are on the fence to visiting alta please do so it’s awesome.
And some might find this a plus but no snowboarders, in utah snowboarders are very talented and tbh skiers seem more annoying especially people learning but that’s just me.
Beautiful temple along with the surrounding landscape. A fun place to go walk around with your family. The grounds are open to the public to do so. The historic building is one to admire. The interior is beautiful in every way.

The Provo City Center Temple is a serene oasis. Its incredible grounds invite reflection and peace. And the Christus statue in the visitor center? Simply amazing. Whether you seek solace or inspiration, this temple is the place.

Wonderful place to sit and think. Time to get away from a busy life. Only members of this church can go inside. Any one can sit out side and enjoying a very peaceful feeling of love and rest. Great place, enjoy it, love it. Get a good book and read with the noise of life.

This is one of the most historic, beautiful temples on the earth! The RED BRICK sets this temple apart and the underground parking is appreciated.
Summer brides: consider getting married earlier in the day, shooting outside in the sun is brutal.

Beauty from ashes! The history of this temple is awesome. It was an early tabernacle that burnt down tragically in the 2010s but the walls were still standing. The church took that shell and lifted it into the air, put another floor under it, and turned it into a temple. It is beautiful! Honestly, it is almost an allegory of what can happen when a soul with a burnt out life puts itself in the hands of the Lord. He will lift them higher and make them more glorious than they ever could be on their own.
Around the windows on some of the stone you can still see scorch marks. The spiral staircase up to the sealing rooms were really cool. They are in the turrets. The gazebo outside has a Christus and a waiting area with bathrooms underground connected to the underground parking. Most of the furniture has a historic feel that matches the historicity of the original building.

I love this temple. The interior feels like a more modern version of the Manti temple. Not only that, but it is well planned for it's place in the middle of a city.
As a note: it does have a bike rack in the underground parking garage.

I love this Temple inside and out. From simply the way it feels to be around and inside to the amazing history it has of its restoration story as it came to be a temple. I had the chance to volunteer in this temple for about two and half months and the service I was able to offer was some of the highlights of my year. The outside is beautiful and truly provides a brief experience of what it is like to be inside. The inside is beautiful as it has multiple floors of hallways full of art and rooms with sacred purpose. The work that goes on here is nothing less than a miracle brought forth by the hand of God and His peoples faith. I had a chance to attend as a patron, offer service as a volunteer, and as a missionary accompany a friend of mine for his first time attending the temple. It is one of my favorite places on the Earth and I plan to be able to attend it as frequently as possible for the rest of my life.

The Provo city center temple has a soft spot on my heart. It is where I got my endowments in 2019 and now it’s the place where my brother in law got married to my sister in law. I love visiting the temple and this time of year is so magical. The tulips and flowers were in full bloom and the grounds were exceptionally clean even with all the people around. The staff is always so kind and helpful. In the bridal suite, we needed some assistance and ended up getting the help of multiple temple workers. This place is magical. You do need a temple recommend from the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to enter within the temple, but the grounds are a place perfect for contemplation and serenity. I recommend a walk through the temple grounds to anyone of any background. It’s truly beautiful. This is the most crowded I’ve ever seen the temple grounds, but there was over 3 sealings going on so it makes sense.

Have visited many temples, and this one is one of the most ornate and detailed inside. You will absolutely love all of the paintings and it’s uniqueness!! If there isn’t parking space in the garage, there is plenty of available room within the surrounding residential area.

I remember well the announcement and construction of this temple. Truly it is a testament of perseverance and new beginnings. This temple is truly the house and symbol of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Snowbird is an expansive mountain resort that offers a variety of activities and attractions for all seasons. Its relaxed accommodations are complemented by 11 restaurants and a luxurious spa, making it an ideal destination for families. Ski enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy at Snowbird, with various nooks and crannies to explore for the best tracks on the slopes. It takes a couple of days to fully discover everything this resort has to offer, but visitors will undoubtedly find new favorite spots every time they return.
Absolutely beautiful resort. Terrain is fantastic here!! Ski demos are decently cheap as well if you're looking for powder skis. I've eaten at the summit restaurant and it's quite good. I'd recommend it! Not many places you can eat at 11,000 feet. The views are absolutely spectacular as well!!

We came for Oktoberfest (twice) and were pretty disappointed. While it's absolutely gorgeous up there, the prices were absolutely insane. $10 for 16oz of beer, food wasn't cheaper than $15 for a meal. Lines moved surprisingly fast, though they were long. I'm glad I got to experience it but I don't think I'll ever come back.

I got hosted when coming into town and was brought to the shoppes at the base and the tram ride up to the summit. The tram has a roof top look out, open air, only one of its kind in the nation I hear, however it wasn't accessible during my trip due to higher winds. The Summit houses a nice lodge, beer n food served. Altogether it was quite a site to see and take in while you are up there. So majestic. Highly recommend a visit

Rode on top of the tram, great experience. Highly recommended. Then we hiked down to Peruvian, and took the chair down. Of course you have to ride the mountain coaster and the Alpine slide. Amazing place, with amazing staff. I always enjoy my time at Snowbird.

Snowbird has a free trail: observation point. It is very kid and stroller friendly trail. Not exactly a hike, but a very nice walk with beautiful view and relaxing vibe. Maybe about 1 mile round trip, so easy for elderly or toddler. We enjoy this Fall walk on this trail. The picture turns out perfectly. Beautiful Fall color are all around while we walked.
There are seats at the end of trail, so you can bring some lunch and enjoy the weather and view.
With parking, you can park at the side of the road without paying parking, or you can park with snowbird with fee.

Love this Ski area. About 20 min away from center of the valley, instructors are amazing, amazing slopes, many states do not have choppers like powderbird, and powdery snow up there are to die for. Heaven on earth for skiers of all ages and skill levels.

Great skiing gets better if you get to know the nooks and crannies of Snowbird. Sometimes the "hidden" gem is in plain sight, other times the best tracks are at the end of a traverse less traveled.
But getting to know Snowbird takes at least a couple days of relentless exploring. There is so much variety at Snowbird, it is easy to return multiple times, finding new favorite spots every time.

Amazing mountain. The restaurants are okay. Getting up the canyon and the parking is a nightmare, especially on a good snow day. Also, hope you can afford an extra $70 per person for the fast pass (Fast Tracks) or you'll just stand in lift lines all day. I ski for an enjoyable experience and in general this mountain just can't deliver.
Louis Poppler — Google review
This place is so fun! The food is good. They have a mountain coaster which is my favorite. You can control your speed. There is an alpine slide and that’s fun. It’s a little scary because if you go too fast there is a chance you could fall out. They have summer tubing. It’s cool to be able to do that in summer. There is a ropes course, rock climbing, a zip line, bungee trampolines and more. You can spend all day here.

Absolute one of my favorite places to just escape. Sometimes it’s for Oktoberfest, which in of itself is so phenomenal. But sometimes on the off season I go up just to forget about real life. It’s beautiful up here no matter the time of year. Service is always spectacular. Everyone is so kind and helpful. You can go up alone, with someone special, or with a group of friends and have the best time. Sitting atop the Cliff Lodge at nighttime, relaxing in the spa, it’s truly a one of a kind experience. You can hike, ride the chair lift, walk casually, just sit on the balcony, and it’s always so relaxing. It is just another huge reminder of the beauty of the state of Utah.

There were only three lifts open when I went due to weather conditions but even with that I was able to have a great time. This resort has great runs for beginners, intermediates and experts alike. I am not a super experienced skier and went with a group of varying skill levels and everyone had a good time.

An excellent skiing destination! As a beginner with limited experience and no equipment of my own, the group lessons here, along with lift tickets and rental services, were incredibly convenient.
Despite trying equipment from other ski shops before, none suited me well. However, the professionalism of the rental team here stood out—they efficiently and friendly helped me choose perfectly fitting snowboard packages!
The snow conditions are fantastic, providing a smooth skiing/snowboarding experience. Additionally, the unique scenic tram is a great thing to try! The breathtaking views were impressive!

Such an awesome ski resort!! From the iconic tram to the incredible trails, this big resort and mountain are a must try!! The runs can get a bit crowded, but the lifts lines were quick, staff was awesome and friendly, I just wish we could afford to stay in the hotel here too! The spa looked amazing from what we could see going up the tram.

We like to drive up here for lunch every now and again, because the food here is pretty good, and the scenery is amazing. There's a myriad of restaurants, as well as a gondola that will take you to the restaurant on top of the mountain at 11,000 ft for cafeteria style food, with spectacular views. The two of us got lunch for about $50, and the tram ride up the mountain is about $50 per adult.

My favorite ski resort. Period.
This was our second season that we came to Utah for skiing and snowboarding. While the snow this year was not as spectacular as last year, it was still really great.
There is a wide variety of intermediate and advanced runs for anyone's taste. The only downside could be the limited space for beginners.

Best ski resort in Utah, by far. Most vertical, most number of black and double diamond runs. A great all around resort. Been skiing here for over 35 years. I'm a local.
Samie M — Google review
I've been skiing here for over 20 years. I love all the options available for different levels of skiers. When my kids are younger, they love Baby Thunder. But, as they grow, and for us adults, there are so many great advanced options. And, it's the most affordable resort to get season passes for my family of 7.
We also stay a couple nights a year at the Cliff Lodge. We love it, especially the pool and hot tubs. We also love spending a day each summer doing the Summer Activities.

I enjoyed my visit skiing at snowbird. It was a storm day snowing 1 feet, making it an ideal day for fresh powder turns nonstop the whole day. The black runs are steep and deep. Also, you can enjoy a very long run of 3000 vertical feet after getting off the aerial tram. There are also some lifts closing at 4:15 or 4:30, extending the time you have for last run. Finally, the resort public safety staff helped me shovel out my car from parked in 1 foot of snow.

I enjoyed my time here. Terrain is super neat and well maintained. Ski patrol is readily available. The whole terrain is very wide and big compared to other’s nearby. Restaurants are available around the mountains. Rooms are also available. There are year round activities and events. October fest is pretty big and I had lot of fun here. Views are spectacular here around the area. And runs are kind of hard for beginners. Black runs are pretty steep if you are new-bee

Skied this resort two days. It was our worst ski days we've ever experienced in our 20 years of skiing. First day: no parking, parked up by cliffs lodge and had to walk up the mountain to get to a cat track (no welcome entrance type feel). It's just such a wide resort, if you want to get somewhere at the base you have to ride a lift up and ski your way across the mountain or you have to walk a mile. No park, no fun kid area, our son is 7 and was exhausted from walking. Then we left at 3:00 and took 30 minutes to walk to our car and we sat for 3 1/2 hours and didn't move a single ft because of traffic jam, no accident! Then we were in the car another hour bumper to bumper out of the canyon. Didn't get out till 8pm!!! No food or drinks it was horrid! Day two: 1hour traffic jam getting there and parked on the side of the road (no parking lot) had to walk a mile up hill on the side of the road with traffic to the side of us. Then we rode the tram and get to the top and they announce its only for experts when there is a blue square run. Snow makers are blowing snow on you on the most inconvenient spots, for instance if your on a cat track and have to walk some to get going again you have a snow maker blowing right on you making it miserable! We just hated this resort. And when you pay $1000 for your family to have fun for 2 days it would have been nice to leave happy. Too big you can't have fun!

The Peteetneet is open Mon-Fri, 10am-4pm. It is a former gradeschool building that is now a historical museum. It's got roughly 10 rooms filled with artifacts, replicas, and info, mostly relating to Payson and its history. I believe it's operated mostly by volunteers- when I went a sweet older lady showed me around. I only wish it were open on Saturday so my working husband could visit too (although the lady did say if we asked they might be able to be there). If you enjoy history, it's worth a visit!

I have been there twice on ghost hunts, the building is very haunted. We got lots of SLS evidence as well as optical anomolies and relevant words from the Ovilus.
But it is a terrific museum and community center, many historical exhibits and artifacts. Friendly, very helpful staff. Highly recommended, day or night. 😉

We happened to show up on a Saturday when the museum was open. Dave gave us a 60-minute tour and it was great. Our 15- and 12-year-old kids enjoyed it.
Each room took us back into different periods of our past. Nearly every item is donated by local residents of Payson.

Visitors can take guided tours of this cave at the end of a 1.5 mile trail from May to September.
The trail is steep and a work out. The views make the effort worth while. You can hike the trail only or visit the caves and trail. There are actually three caves on the tour. The rangers are very knowledgeable. Take a walk along the river by the visitor center. Very peaceful. Make sure to purchase tour tickets ahead of time on recreation.gov.

The 1.5-mile hike up the side of the mountain was a bit of a workout, but the views along the way of the surrounding valley are spectacular. Hiking by myself at a decent pace took about 45 minutes, so definitely plan for longer if you're with kids or taking a more leisurely stroll. My tour was set at 11:00AM, and when I arrived at the Visitor Center I was told to be up at the cave entrance by 12:30, to give you an idea of what the scheduling is like.
The caves themselves were awesome, and the ranger who led my tour was very knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions about the caves that I had. Will recommend to all of my friends and family in the area.

Generally a fun trip overall!
The trail is paved the whole way with plenty of places to stop and rest if that’s what suits your fancy. It took us about 40 minutes to get to the cave. Inside, the tour guide did an excellent job answering all of our random questions. (It was cool to witness the love and dedication the park rangers have for this canyon.) Obviously descending was much quicker… The flow of traffic was minimal and weather was great. Highly recommend going!

We went about a week ago and the fall colors were absolutely stunning!! The cave was amazing and Heather, our tour guide was so fun and knowledgeable!
It’s a really tough hike, I would make sure you are in good condition and leave yourself plenty of time to do the hike. However, we did see a family with little kiddos up there so it is possible.
There are lots of benches and resting spots along the way. Bring plenty of water, but you won’t be allowed to open it in the cave. No large backpacks in the cave either.
There are some places you have to really skinny through in the cave and some you have to bend down really low to get under.
They have a water fill up station at the bottom of the trail by the visitors center, the bathroom at the visitors center a nice and clean, and they also have a bathroom at the top right before you get to the cave. That bathroom was a bit more like your usual camping bathroom so it was a little grosser, but not bad. We were the last tour of the day and they still had hand sanitizer in there. Make sure to use the bathroom when you get the chance!! No opportunities in the cave!

Absolutely Beautiful place! Great History, Fun tour guides, beautiful sights, would highly recommend for a fun day! The hike is a little steep and if it's Summer it can hot, but once you enter the cave it cools off and feels great. You also have to be prepared, bring a water bottle and good shoes. Wouldn't recommend for very young children or those in bad physical shape.

Definitely worth $12 fee to enter the caves. Trail is easy. Takes around one hour going up and half an hour coming back. You will spend a little less than an hour in caves. They were just breathtaking and the ranger who was doing the tour was super knowledgeable, and funny. Do it ! You wont regret it !

Great place to visit if in the area. The hike up is pretty strenuous and steep if you aren’t somewhat in shape. The tour is pretty interesting and the guides are very informative. The only con is the number of large kid groups. When the parents don’t keep them in line, they push to through the group and make lots of noise! This should be for ages 13+.

I only did the hike up but from what I saw it was awesome! As a Sasquatch enthusiasts I'm always on the lookout for Bigfoot, but yet again the elusive creature went unseen. Thankfully though, this national monument has a great habit for him as well as wonderful park rangers there to keep us safe and protect the local wildlife

This is such a wonderful hike! Make sure and plan because it takes a lot longer than you think to get up there for your tour because of the incline, but it was a great experience. We had a group that included an eight-year-old and two almost 40-year-olds, but we all made it just fine. The tour was wonderful, educational and entertaining.
The hike itself is a bit strenuous, but lovely, and inside the cave is a little chilly, but everything is well lit, and the tour guide that we had did a great job.
I totally recommend going.
We went October and the weather and scenery was absolutely perfect.

Cave tour was excellent! The hike up is steep, and they expect it to take you up to 1 1/2 hours. But, if you get up early they'll do their best to get you on an earlier tour.
Our group spent about 1 hour total in the three different caves. They are all unique, and get more spectacular as you go along.
They've kept the caves very natural, so expect to need to do some serious ducking and crouching to prevent yourself from hitting the cave walls. Because of this I'd highly recommend not bringing a large backpack with you.

Need to book the tour in advance. We need to hike up about 45min-1hour depend on your pace and enjoy the spectacular view. The view was amazing so I took a slow hike and enjoy it. There are a lot of people who hike, family with kids, couple even elder.
The cave itself was amazing, really enjoy the tour, there is a tour guide/ranger will explain about the cave and the history as well. You ask questions and get some explanation. Inside the cave was quiet cold so better to bring a jacket.

The Hike to the cave can be intense. We had to carry our 4 year old about half of the way up. It took us the full 90 minutes to hike up from the visitors' center to the cave entrance. Our diaper bag was too large and needed to stay outside the cave in a bear box. Both my boys needed jackets in the cave. It was too cold for them even though it was in the 90's outside. The hike was worth it, Timpanogos Cave is amazing. I can't wait until my kids are old enough to go on the more in-depth tours.

Beautiful cave, good guides. Be aware that it's a healthy 1 hour walk up (1000 ft up over ? km walk), so make sure you're ready for that: appropriate clothing, water, etc. If needed, take a rest at the occasional seats. Restroom at the top. They say the cave is 45°F, but it felt great after that walk. Everyone on the staff was excellent.

Our walk was late in the year, mid Oct. Cave was closed for cleaning but trail up still open. Great views an the way, still some fall colors to be seen. We didn't go until around 10 am but fall sun made walk look like it was sunrise. Benches on trail and posted reminders to watch a persons heart rate were a good reminder we were not in a race. Trail was pretty steep in some areas. Tree roots growing in places that made no sense. Only one restroom and it's atop just before the cave. Staff we met were real friendly, The on duty Ranger was great, had some stories to share. We look forward to when cave is open to visitors next year.

You have to buy a ticket to get into Timpanogos Cave and they give you an hour and a 1/2 from the time that you check in at the visitor center until you need to be at the entrance of the cave but I got up there in less than an hour and I stopped to take pictures along the way. It is a steep climb. however it is paved so it's an easy trail in that respect. The park Rangers are really nice and informative.

First off we didn't make it to the cave, we were not prepared. It is 1.5 hr hike to the cave, about 1 hrs through and about an hour back down. There are restrooms and water at the ticket station. We skipped as we didn't have lunch yet and we needed some more gear. It is an easy day hike, but as amateur hikers, we didn't even have a med kit with us or a solid day pack, so we stuck to the creek trails close to the road and had a great time..

The private tour was shorter, distance and time, but special because of the small group size, dark and offpath cave not otherwise viewable. Really, after the rough hike up (it is a tough hike to go quick) do both! I wish we did. The Rangers were great fun to chat with and VERY excited to have us visit.

Beautiful caves and beautiful views are just some of the amazing things about this National Monument. It is a 1.5/mile hike up the side of the mountain to get to these amazing caves. The caves can only be seen with a cave tour so make sure to get tickets early as they book up fast. I went on a lantern tour with some friends and had Ranger Alex who was funny and educational. The trail does gain 1,100 feet so make sure to take plenty of water as it can definitely be a feat. You do have an hour and a half from the time on your ticket to make it to the top for your tour. It was definitely worth it!!

Quality matters and their Peacock variety of baking flour has made all the difference for my cookie business (Doc’s Cookies). Other flours turned out inconsistent cookies and leavening agents didn’t make near the difference that switching flour to Lehi Mills did. Cookies are as expected: consistent, tall and moist; whereas before they were more flat and less impressive.

At the time the film was made, Lehi Roller Mills was surrounded by nothing but vacant fields. 《
Parking Free and available. Old fashion place. Very cute

I’ve made over 50 loaves of sourdough bread with the Lehi artisan baking flour. Originally, I bought the flour at a $.99 store when I was in a pinch. I was unsure of the quality of the product, but took a chance. Wow!. Lehi flour is a wonderful product and results in a great loaf of bread. Using a natural sourdough starter instead of a commercial yeast product means that the flour I use has to be especially good. I love this flour.
Compact museum featuring a collection of artifacts including rocks, minerals, crafts & fossils.
Really nice exhibits. Really enjoyed the military displays and the theme. A nice location and worth visiting.

Good collection fossils, great history of Lehi Utah. Lots of taxidermy animals, and memorials for all the veterans from Lehi

VERY impressive collection of rocks! I doubt you can find more entertainment for $5 in all north Utah County (including free samples at Costco). IMPORTANT - when you go, you HAVE to ask for a tour from Elder Will. He's a wealth of knowledge with natural history and Native American artifacts. He was able to add personal stories such as the painting from his uncle. It up-leveled the experience to something more in the $15-$17/pp area. They also have arrowhead making classes the first Saturday of the month from 11:00 - 2:00 that Elder Will teaches. I counted more than 16 rooms! All with a different theme! One of them even had live animals we were able to pet. If you've ever been confused by the "Natural History Museum" signs on I-15, this is the place they're referring to! I was baffled for years before finding this gem.
Next time you think about a movie, high speed Go Karts, or any other overrated activity in the area, put the Hutchins Museum on your list!

Such a great museum, and while it's not huge, they pack so many things in it, that it's a must see if you're in the area. A lot of historic and natural items to see. They also have a huge collection of minerals, which is just amazing.

Wayyy better than their website makes it seem. If you like random things from history, authentic antiques, archeology items, culture, etc this place is well worth the time and you can't beat the entry fee. Plan a good 2 hours to get the full experience, but if you need to make it shorter you can. Very kid-friendly, they have a whole treasure hunt and map thing to do with explorer backpacks. Both the kids and adults loved it.
Mostly history of Utah, but there are a number of historical things from outside of Utah.
Very friendly staff, plenty of accessible parking,

Gem of a place! Small exhibits about Utah rocks, plants, animals, fossils, gems and even an original log cabin. The price is very reasonable and the best part is the volunteer guides who are so knowledgeable and entertaining!! Loved the hands on touch exhibits. We even got to hold petrified poop! Perfect place for a field trip or family outing with school aged kids

We happened upon this museum accidentally while looking for the Thanksgiving Point one. They had LDS missionaries working there, and they were all very nice. The credit card reader was offline, which was stressful, but the staff were so kind and accommodating, and they made sure we had fun. I would definitely recommend giving this museum a visit!

We love this museum. It is a little gold nugget that we wished we would have visited sooner. The museum has more than we would have imagined for local and area history, a small live animals room, and a very large rocks, minerals, and mining exhibit. The staff are very friendly and helpful, making your visit comfortable and informative. We learned a lot about the local area that we didn't know before.

We loved our visit. You can take a walk through all of the many exhibits or ask for a tour. Our guide was so great. He has lots of fun facts and silly jokes for every room. Very entertaining and well worth a visit. We'll definitely be back

We didn't even know this place was here until this weekend but we are very glad we decided to stop. There was so much to do and so many interesting things to see. More than 16 rooms, each with a different theme. Each room had kid-friendly, hands-on exhibits. The reptile room had so many cool reptiles. There was a handler there when we went who was happy to give us more than an hour of personalized, one-on-one time. He got out a few critters so we could see them and touch them. And he was so knowledgeable and kept giving us really interesting facts. So great!!!
