I am grateful for having the ice skating rink here in Midway. Great activity to do with your family in the winter time. Fair cost is reasonable activity for the family? Thank you Midway ice rink. also want to compliment on the friendly employees keep up the good work.,,, 🌞

Honestly one of the best rinks. Get there right when they open and it’s so slick! And beautiful
Natalie Baugh — Google review
Love the ice rink! Pretty venue, friendly staff, decent pricing. Good time for the family, their online waiver system is pretty simple. Posted a pic of my kid playing dead, was a good time.
Max Dahmen — Google review
A great place to skate. Nice warming house. Good ice, because it’s refrigerated!
Mike Hall — Google review
Great facility! Played a tourney there last weekend and ice was in great shape. Shannon did a terrific job taking care of our crew! Will definitely be back!!
Robert Cratin — Google review
I have come up to Midway the past three years, and I love this rink! It is a beautiful spot, and there's nothing quite like skating outside in the winter! Shannon is super helpful with getting the rink in shape for our hockey event, and she and her staff put in the extra effort to make the event a success.
Ben Smith — Google review
We had a great time with our family ice skating here. The ice wasn’t very smooth, but that didn’t seem to cause any problems for the experienced skater. For some of us less experienced skaters, we had a few falls. Some of the skates were pretty old and not comfortable.
Kelli Coppieters — Google review
Great fun. Spend an evening or afternoon skating. Touted as the largest outdoor ice rink in Utah. Rates are decent. My kids love to come and stay around. They are usually here about 1.5 hours each time, usually longer. They have an outdoor gazebo with heater and an indoor shoe changing/ viewing area that is heated. Concessions on hand as well. Fill out the waiver online to speed things up, and it lasts the whole season.
sven508 — Google review
Super cool ! Kids love you they have a lot of fun. Very cold . Make sure we have everything to stay warm. Gloves and hoodie.

I love how organized this place is. Most sledding hills just let everyone go whenever, and then you end up with lots of collisions that ruin the fun. The hills are loads of fun for any age (not too short and slow, but not terrifying to young kids). The gentle hills are a fun variety. And the lodge is a nice place to relax at the end of the fun.

This was my first time snow tubing and it was great fun. It was open on Christmas and there were several people there. It is easier to fill out your waiver ahead of time before picking up the lift ticket. You can go down alone, in pairs, or groups of three (adults). Great experience in a beautiful location.
Sondra Haithcock — Google review
If you’re looking for a fun weeknight or weekend activity the Soldier Hollow sledding is a great option. Prices are very reasonable and it wasn’t overly crowded. They run in blocks to make sure it’s not too crowded. There’s a moving walkway that takes you up the hill or you can walk up the path. The staff was really friendly and like to joke around with the guests which make it fun!
Joe Hupp — Google review
Great employees, and very helpful. We love tubing here, as well as the cross country skiing during the winter. This year there is so much snow the tracks are really nice, and the tubing is perfect, no need to dig in your feet like in past years.
Gen Bowerbank — Google review
Beautiful area, we visited during Beautiful fall colours. We were fortunate to be allowed to shoot at the site of the 2002 biathlon site. What a fun day. What a beautiful spot.
Lisa Simmons — Google review
It was fun and beautiful. I would love If for the money you pay per person there would be less people. It was quite the wait to get on a run once you got to the top of the hill. They also need more people to direct the lines there were a lot of people walking around us and cutting in line.
Tiffany Pelton — Google review
My family had a blast! We went on a Sunday morning. We did the 10AM-12PM time slot and it wasn't too packed. We were able to go down a few times. We probably could have gone more but we got hungry and went inside to eat some food. The slopes are perfect for kids. My son and I went really fast our first time down and ended up taking down the orange fence they have at the end as you sled down. I didn't know we were supposed to be slowing down using your feet as you came down. So just a friendly to use your feet to slow down if you are coming down too fast.
Andrea Ortiz — Google review
Had a 12pm-2pm reservation. The staff at check in was fast, friendly, and orderly. Had us in and headed up to the tubing runs in a matter of minutes. Short waits for tubing at the beginning, by the end of our time, it started to fill up and had to wait about 10 minutes for the last couple of rides… but the kids were pretty much done by then anyway. Got plenty of rides in. Inside was nice and had a great snack bar.
Dave Genette — Google review
We had a blast. It was great to enjoy the time with other veterans. They pretty much rolled out the red carpet for us. The only thing we wished was that the escalator moved a bit quicker, but other than that, it was a great day. The staff even went along with our antics and made snowballs as we had a large team battle. Coming from Jersey, I would go there again.
Tyshawn Jenkins — Google review
Had a great time with the kids and grandkids! 2 hours of up the mountain, down the mountain! 6 lanes of tubing, about 200 people, maybe a bit less. The lines go pretty fast. The treadmill lift was great. Sign said 7 minutes up, but only 1 time did it bogg down on us. The workers were all very friendly! (I would hope so for $30 per person) Not cheap, but I think it was well worth it! Kids were allowed to go down by themselves, and I think they really enjoyed that freedom. Easy to get up that hill, even for a almost 60 year old. Getting off the tube at the end was the most difficult part of the ride, but not too bad. Runs were very fast, and as you drug your feet at the end to slow down, you could literally smell rubber as your boots dig along the rubber mats. Thanks for a great adventure! Will be doing this again!
Cary Stockwell — Google review
We went there for tubing. We got discounted tickets online in advance. We had a 2 hour time slot. There is a belt that you stand on that takes you up the hill. It takes 7 minutes to get to the top. We were able to get in several runs. Highly recommend for a family day trip.
Benjamin Higley — Google review
Check-In was very easy. Tubes were great. Hills were fun. Employees were helpful. It was a little overpriced for 2 hours. Especially with the slow magic carpet. We wish we could have walked on it when we had room ahead of us to move a little faster. But overall it wasn't crowded and we had fun.
M Epling — Google review
Took the family tubing here on December 23. We are from Florida and are down here on Christmas break. First time seeing snow. We had a wonderful experience. Yes the crowds are big and yes, the lanes are fast but the staff managed it very well. I was disappointed as we drove up not to see any snow, but was impressed when we got to the tubing hill. The place makes their own snow with giant snow guns. I was speaking with one of the supervisors, who explained that it’s been very difficult to manage with the warm weather and minimal snow this year. They haven’t been able to build any additional lanes due to the minimal snowfall, and they have had to groom lanes periodically to keep speeds down - even with all that, we got 8 runs in the two hour slot and had a blast.
Ethan Lake — Google review
So fun. We were the first to go down in the morning and there was fresh snow so the first run was pretty slow but they gave us these green plastic sliders that helped pack the snow. We had about 5 runs in 2 hours. It was a workout so fewer layers than you think. I recommend goggles.
Tiffany Dorris — Google review
The Nordic center is a place of beauty that is ticked up against the mountain side! It is the place where they hosted several different events for the Olympics! Now, they still host some training opportunities for winter sports and other events, such as tubing and sledding in the winter! They have also had the "Ice Castles" there from time to time! Make sure you check it out! Also, go eat across the way at the golf course! The food is fantastic and the lodge is really amazing!

Italian restaurant
Café Galleria in Midway, Utah is a rustic and laid-back restaurant known for its outdoor seating and wood-burning oven that fires up delicious pizzas and bagels. The café offers classic Italian dishes and is famous for its private Veranda Room with a communal farm table that seats up to 22 people. Additionally, guests can dine in the Alpenglobes, private dining shelters typically open during cold months.
I was super excited about this dining in an alpenglobe experience but was nervous because of some of the bad reviews. We had a great experience! We got seated right on time, the globe was clean, there were no flies anywhere, and the heaters worked great! The food was super good, and the hot chocolates were so cute and delicious! Our waitress, Ty, was the nicest person ever! She was perfectly attentive, gave good recommendations on the food, and had suggestions to get the most food for our money. Like instead of 4 kids pizzas and garlic bread appetizer, we got a large pizza and a garlic pizza appetizer. She also suggested my husband do 1/2 & 1/2 marinara and Alfredo because he was torn between the two. The dinner salad was really good with fresh greens, cucumbers, and tomatoes. The lasagna is great and different than any lasagna I’ve ever had. It has bell peppers in it, and nice flavor profile with spices and herbs. We had a great time!
Chelsea Bauer — Google review
Wonderful, wonderful place! We had two dogs with us and they have a dog-friendly patio we were able to enjoy our food at. Every meal we had was so tasty. Our server, Ignacio was friendly and attentive as well. They had live music playing and overall was a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Fanny — Google review
The atmosphere is really cool. The decorations and the globes are really fun. The staff wasn’t super helpful getting our orders, but they did eventually. They never refilled our drinks. The food wasn’t anything special. It looked yummy, but there wasn’t very much flavor. I would expect a lot of flavor since it was slightly more expensive.
Thomas Anthony — Google review
We reserved an outdoor globe months in advance to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The ambiance of both the inside and outside of the restaurant was adorable. We did have to wait on our globe for about 20 minutes despite our reservation, but they did offer us free (very tasty) hot chocolate. Service with Daniel was great and he was friendly. Food was good not amazing, two people in our party ordered the Steak, but neither had the correct steak temperature. Definitely a photo worthy experience, but don’t go for the food.
Olivia Odette — Google review
I knew this place before it became Café Galleria. This is so much better! The new owner has remodeled it and upgraded the food and atmosphere. I totally recommend eating here. I will definitely be back. The intention. Was just to eat dessert, but when we arrived a couple had some appetizers and I told my server I want the bread appetizer and I just ate. It looked and tasted amazing! I love savory food more than dessert, but everything was great. The nice server even told us about the ownership change and I told him this looked incredible. If it's for an appetizer, lunch, dinner, event or dessert. It is worth stopping by and having your delicious experience. I'm going to say it is my favorite spor in this area.
Tatiana Grant — Google review
I feel like it’s so hard to find a restaurant with AWESOME food AND an awesome atmosphere. Unfortunately, this place was mostly just atmosphere. If it was only atmosphere, 5 stars for sure. But it was the most overpriced steak I’ve ever eaten and the pasta was mushy. The bruschetta was really great though and so was the service. We LOVED eating in the globe. We just wish the food was better. 😕
Ashleigh — Google review
Having to pay a $30.00 reservation fee for the outside seating was a bit of a shock. I've never had to pay for a reservation before. We were there and wanted to eat there so I guess that's the cost of wanting to experience eating in an outdoor dining bubble. The food was great, we each really enjoyed our pizzas. The wait staff was friendly but not exceptional. Not sure I'd eat here again, at least outside, but it was a nice experience. If you have money to burn I guess it's all good.
Lanette Ferguson — Google review
A wonderful place to dine in Midway!! The outdoor seating looked really cool and the tables were full, which is always a good thing to see, means the place is good! There was room inside and the dining room was really cute and quaint. Ordered one of the flat bread pizzas with a glass of wine and it was excellent!! Watching the pizzas come out of the wood fired oven was pretty neat also. A nice way to end the evening after seeing the Ice Castles. Midway prides itself in stating it is the "Alps of the US". This place had a European style ambience to it and scooters as part of the decor was really unique. Well worth the stop before heading back to the Homestead Resort.

We have been coming to this place since 2009!! We love their pizza and pasta and salads and meatballs and ice cream! We just love everything!! The atmosphere is so amazing too! Kind staff as well! We love everything about this restaurant that it is worth the drive from Provo!!
Carrilyne Jaynes — Google review
To be completely honest, my husband and I looooved the food, the atmosphere, and the employees were all super nice. Truly, everyone was very sweet. However, the service was pretty awful. It might've just been this one time, but we got the appetizer after our meals arrived, and we were waiting a long time for those, while another table was given our appetizer instead. Just seemed like nothing was communicated at all between the workers because even at the beginning, apparently the host didn't tell any of the servers that we had been seated so we sat without anyone to greet or take our orders for almost 30 minutes. My husband had to get up and find someone to ask where our server was. Also, the servers never checked in after taking our orders. I've served at a few restaurants, so it just seemed very odd, ignorant, and careless of the quality of service. I would go back again just for the food alone, but I'd expect nothing to come out to eat for a while and no quality service. Also, if you want to sit in the bubbles outside, be aware you have to reserve them beforehand.
Elena H — Google review
Such a fun atmosphere! The globes are heated and so much fun!! Great for a group. their night reservations fill up quick and it is a $35 reservation fee which you don’t get back. The menu is about $15-22 per person unless you get a fancier meal like salmon. The workers were so nice and it was so much fun! Definitely recommend.
Hailey Burt — Google review
Food was good, prices are not crazy so it was alright. It took them only a few minutes to bring us the food. They globes are nice and you’re able to play your own music if you want. Service has a lot of room for improvement. Not as sophisticated as I thought but again, for the price it was alright!
Kevin Jared — Google review
For a new experience we decided to make a reservation for Saturday morning! Great food, kind wait staff & wonderful ambiance!!! It was windy & cold but warm & cozy inside the globe!!! Thank you Augusto for being so attentive & kind!! Augusto also served a piece of birthday cake to celebrate my birthday!!!! Super fun place
Kate Andersen — Google review
I don't know why this place only has 4 stars. The food was great! And I haven't had such a friendly server for a long time. The atmosphere was also so nice. So many old inspiring photos to look at while you eat. I think most of these reviews are written by Karen's. The wait time here may he long during holidays but that's because these cooks actually care about making your food properly. Today, however, our food came out fast and hot. Great place, I will come back next time Im up here!
Navi Winnie — Google review
Such a cute place and good food! I’ve been wanting to go here and eat in the globes for a long time and finally made the time to go. Wish I went sooner. I’ll be going back! Love the vibe and server was great! The prices are reasonable and food was delicious! Getting the gourmet hit chocolate for the kids was totally worth it!
Jessica Osborne — Google review
Loved this restaurant! They were quick to seat us, we had a reservation. The waitress, Elizabeth, was so nice and checked on us frequently. The "igloos" are cozy, warm and well decorated. The food was amazing 👏! I had a a bagel sandwich and my wife had the French toast, we both had the deluxe hot chocolate and shared an order of corned beef hash. It was all delightful! We'll definitely be back for dinner... if we can get a reservation!
Rory Taylor — Google review
We booked a globe for the experience and while the experience was fun! The food was okay and definitely not worth the price. We ordered the pizza and pasta. The Alfredo was okay but the other 2 were not that good. Edible but I wouldn’t go again I don’t think and would definitely not go for the price. Fun to do once but not even that fun. $30 to reserve the globe and $150 for 4 people for the food. Feels more like a money grab place than a restaurant
AnnaBrook Roy — Google review
We paid for a reservation in one of the bubbles. The food was pretty good. Not very expensive either. It took a while for our waiter to arrive but he was friendly. The bubble was fun. There was a Bluetooth speaker we could connect to, it was pretty cold outside and the bubble would get pretty hot. The view from our bubble wasn't super great either, just a view of the road.
Dallas Llewelyn — Google review
We reserved one of the globes for a valentines family dinner, and it was so fun. The garlic pizza app was so good, and the pasta and pizzas did not disappoint. I especially enjoy their bruschetta. Our server was very attentive and kind and the atmosphere in the globe made it even more enjoyable.
The Overdue Bucket List — Google review
This place is such a vibe. As others have stated, you have to pay a fee to reserve a globe. There are heaters and a speaker inside the globe which is SO nice if you’re visiting in the winter. I got the crepes with raspberries. They weren’t that great to be honest. They were kind of rubbery and dry. My family got the corned beef hash (I think?) and it was really good. The hot chocolate was rich. The servers were SO nice. I would definitely go back!

Heber Valley Milk & Artisan Cheese, located at the Kohler Creamery, offers visitors the opportunity to learn about their award-winning cheeses and indulge in a tasting experience. The creamery's story is rooted in quality farm milk, a century-old family recipe, and the personal touch of the farmers. With cows right next door, there are no secrets about how they source their milk.
We had the best tour experience with John! Kids loved the wagon ride pulled by a tractor, and being able to pet the baby calves! I've been to many dary farms, and let me tell you, this one does it right! State of the art equipment that puts the needs of the milk cows first. The mamas even get a treat when they're done getting milked! We love this farm!

Yummy cheese and so many different flavors of cheese. High quality. There’s always a tasting table to try different cheeses. There’s a snack bar to get sandwiches, grilled cheese and other items. Ice cream for the warm summer days. A lot of outdoor seating in the warmer days, but no indoor seating.

Really cute place and fun products! The Taggie jams and salsas are so good! The cheese curd that we bought was pretty good. It’s worth a stop for the ice cream alone!

Visiting the area? A MUST stop. Honestly some of the best cheese I’ve ever had. They offer tours in the morning. The cheese dip, amazing. The mustard and herb, amazing. The prices are cheap considering it’s artisan!

#HeberValleyArtisanCheese shop and snack bar. Yes an Artisan Cheese creator in Utah. They had several samples of what they produce including Ice Cream. We purchased a combo from the snack bar which included a drink #TomatoBasilSoup and #GrilledCheeseSandwich my husband got his sandwich with the #SnakeCreekCheddar which was flavorful and luscious. I got mine with #SmokedJalapenoBacon cheese both on #SourdoughBread so yummy. everyone who knows me knows I love cheese, and everything we tried was spectacular. We got some cheese to go including a #GarlicCheese spread that we loved.

We stopped to buy some cheese. Cute little place. We bought two kinds of cheese curds and the mustard and herb cheese. The cheese curds were pretty good. We got the tomato and herb and sour cream and chive. Both were pretty good. The mustard cheese... Nope. Took a couple of bites. My brother did as well. Not fans. We tossed it. So, cheese is hit or miss.

What a neat stop just outside Midway. A family owned dairy farm serving fresh cheese (samples) and ice cream. They also make sandwiches and have weekend activities. Outdoor covered seating. Farm fresh products and gift ideas.

What a fun time! It was interactive and just a good time. I just thought it was going to be a basic train ride and It was much more than that. They did the western theme and we each got mustaches which was a nice little touch lol. Family activity for sure!

Very interesting shop. We got Lemon Lavender and (I think) Smoked Bacon cheeses to try. Both very unique flavors. They also had interesting ice cream like "Space Debris", but our group did not try any.

This little dairy store is charming and inviting. We love to come here when in Midway/Heber. Their cheeses are just so darn good. They will often have samples to try which makes it hard to decide since they are all so good. You can also buy freshly made grilled cheese sandwiches with any cheese you like. So good! Additionally, they have chocolate milk (as well as regular) that is so much better than store bought. And best of all, they have ice cream that will rival any premium ice cream. They have outside seating with a coin operated carousel the little kiddos love. Their bathrooms are clean and there is plenty of parking. Well eating our ice cream outside, I noticed a sign advertising mozzarella cheese, making classes. How fun would that be? I think I’m gonna have to sign up.

We were visiting a week from Florida and decided to stop. What an absolute pleasure. Excellent selection of cheese, jams, and other General Store items. While browsing we noticed they also made sandwiches, so we all got one. Great sandwiches and then we all got ice cream. This place is a real gem !!! We will definitely stop and even go out of our way to stop again !!

This is a fun place with great people and a wonderful backstory. They have fun activities throughout the year - cheese tastings, baby animals days (feed a 2 week old calf!), tractor shows. Their cheese is outstanding! 10 year old cheddar - YES! I have never had cheese from Heber Valley Milk & Artisan Cheese that I didn't like. Oh, and they have excellent ice cream, too.

If you are in Midway---stop by. Fantastic made to order grilled cheese sandwiches, soups and ice cream. If it is available the peach cobbler ice cream is delicious. Cute little store and cheese tasting inside. Snake Creek 6yr Sharp and garlic cheese spread are great choices to buy, but you can't go wrong with any of the flavors. If you are able, take the daily tour at 11am to see the cows/dairy.
Stephanie Monsen — Google review
A good spot to grab an ice cream cone on a warm summer day, and on the way back to Park City after hiking or a visit to Midway. Large variety of cheese, dairy, milk in a glass jug, and local wares. There was a cute, small farmers market outside to pick up some fruits and vegetables on the way out.
Renee Funk — Google review
The BEST grilled cheese I've ever eaten in my entire life. When can I go back and get another one?! I asked the employee behind the counter for a recommendation and followed it exactly. I think I'll dream about grilled cheese tonight. Also, I'm thinking of naming my future child after the guy who told me about the jalapeno cheese on sourdough combination.

If you're in Heber, you have to stop here!! This is an adorable mom and pop shop that has kept to their roots and sells a wide selection of homemade goods to buy such as: cheeses, jams, ice cream, milk...etc. I love how they sell a variety of homemade goods that are from different parts of the valley. Really makes this store special because each item has a story of where it was locally made. ❤️ The owner was so sweet and made us feel welcomed while we were picking out a few items to buy. She told us about the rich history of this place and where all the goods came from in the valley. A fun fact that she told us was a few of their cheeses have even won national awards! 🧀 I also love the handmade charcuterie cheese boards they sell here. I had to buy two of these beautifully made boards and a few of their cheeses. Can't wait to start my charcuterie board! 💕 Definitely a place I will be coming back to. I am happy we happened to stubble upon this store on our trip. A real gem in Heber.

Both courses are a lot of fun to play. The Lake course is flatter and more open than the Mountain course. But at least for my two days, the Lake course's greens are faster. The Mountain course is tighter with dramatic elevation changes, climbing 700+ feet and returning back down. It also has lots of par 3s - 5 in all. Completely enjoyed playing them.
Tony Kelly — Google review
One of the most beautiful courses I have ever played. Still can't believe it was only 50 for the round.
Thomas Kamas — Google review
Both courses are really nice! I'd give the lake course 4 stars, some great holes and a really fun 18 holes. Only 4 stars because the mountain course is 5 stars and they aren't quite on the same level of beauty! Lake is awesome and has lots of water and trees and probably more wildlife but the mountain course is just spectacular! Highly recommend both courses but if you were going to do just one I'd say try really hard to get a time at the mountain course!

Wow! Just wow! Played in the opening tee time on October the 1st of 2022 and it was truly amazing. Woke up early and arrived at the course to be greeted by a nice, brisk fall morning and a nice clean club house. Everything was in order, everyone was a pleasure to talk to. As we got out on to the course, we realized the greens were being winterized which was a bummer, but totally understandable. Tee boxes were nice, fairways were great, and the views were the best. Finishing out the round, we stopped back at the club house and the food is great. This is one of, if not the best courses in Utah County. A spectacular course with views and conditions.
Blake Carey — Google review
What a great course to play. Enjoyed 18 holes today with friends. The course grounds were well groomed. They could use a little tree trimming around the course. The golf carts need to be updated. Overall play was awesome- will go back. We got to see lots of wildlife during play- as noted in the picture.
Kentrell Charles — Google review
I cannot believe that there is a better $50/round public golf course in the entire country. Magnificent views and unbeatable conditions. I cannot say enough positive things to even come close to justifying the experience. So, so, so, good.

An amazing course (both of them) the mountain can be hard to get on, but both courses are amazing. Integrated well with the amazing landscape. You usually don't go without seeing wild turkey or deer on the course. The surroundings are simply spectacular. The staff has always been helpful and their food is a cut above most courses I've been to in the state. I would highly recommend as a top Utah course.

Love both of these courses! Have been up for the last 2 years for a weekend tourney and the staff does an amazing job! Great views, well-kept course and the food in the cafe is some of the best! Both breakfast and lunch Highly recommend these two courses to anyone looking for a scenic round

Golf course was in excellent condition and the fall leaves provided a beautiful background as you wind up and down the canyon. Mountain course has some tight holes that require pinpoint precision off the tee. Lake course does not have as much elevation change and opens up a bit more but brings in more water in play.

We play here every year during the fall time and it’s always an exceptional experience. Great pricing for Utah residents. Fall colors were beautiful, lots of wildlife around the course, and the Mountain Course was in great shape.

Mountain course was in great condition and was fun and challenging. Views were really nice. Paired up with a few older gentleman as alot of tee times were taken until way later in afternoon (so course was busy for a monday). Staff was ok could have been a little more friendly but maybe they aren't morning people. Would definitely play again.

Lola's Street Kitchen is a friendly spot located on Main Street, previously known as The Timp Freeze. This small but vibrant eatery offers a variety of comfort food with a twist, including burgers, salads, gyros, melts, and bowls. The setup is perfect for enjoying pleasant summer days - customers can order outside at the window and choose to sit at the large covered patio or nearby Midway City Park.
Perfect place to go with friends! We have come here a few times and overall, the food is hecka good. They've really narrowed into what they do well: gyros, sweet steak salad, their fries, their desserts. The textures of food are all spot on (sweet potato fries are crispy on the outside and soft on inside, the steak is tender, the salad is crunchy, etc) and the flavors they put together for the dressings and sauces are different and fun in a good way. (I've had an "uneventful" tuna melt special a while back, but that's the only time I haven't had the best experience with the food.) Plus, the ambience has such a friendly and "gathering" vibe.

I’ve heard so many good things about Lola and it lives up to its name! First time here and the food is delicious. The gyro is my favorite and will definitely be back just for that. The quality of food and service is great. It’s family friendly, with a good menu selection for kiddos. The menu has affordable and different options to pick from if you’re craving burgers, salads or sandwiches.

This is a unique little restaurant that has terrific food. My husband and I sat at the bar looking out the window. The ordering system was a little strange because you have to order at an outside window but can go inside to eat. If you're not a local, it can be kind of confusing. I would definitely eat here again and again.

If you’re in Midway looking for an excellent meal, look no further than Lola’s Street Kitchen. The menu, mostly salads, sandwiches, and burgers has an easy appeal. We joined golf bros, cyclists, Utah Valley moms lugging their Stanley tumblers and eating disorders, and families here. You order at a window, find a table, and your meal is brought out without an interminable wait. It’s a very pleasant environment. I got the burger special, the Margarita, and it was banging. The perfectly cooked burger was ensconced between a gloriously soft potato bun. Dressed in sun-dried tomatoes, arugula, capers, Muenster cheese, and just enough red onions to not be offensive, it was outstanding. One of the best burgers I’ve had in ages. Fries on the side were a nice compliment. Don’t sleep on Lola’s when you’re in Midway. Outstanding!

My husband and I split: - Pastrami Reuben - Blue Moon Burger Both sandwiches were fantastic. I can't pick a favorite because I loved both. I also loved the mac and cheese. The whole menu looked really good. I don't think you can go wrong. The only downside is that there isn't very much seating compared to how many people dine here. We were only in town for a day, but I would definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

Delicious place to eat! It’s also on the more affordable side for Midway. I got the mango salad and it was delicious. The fries are yummy and my husband also liked his sandwich. The vibes of this restaurant are fun and relaxing. Everything’s just super cute and the service was pretty fast and great. Would recommend others coming here and I hope to come back soon to try other things on the menu. Note: we’ve seen this place on the busier side at times, which might detract some people, but it wasn’t too crazy when we went. The staff were pretty speedy with the service!

Cute patio spot with misters to keep cool. The chicken sandwich was super delicious, which was a good thing because it was like $13! The garlic fries were a little underwhelming but ok. The food came out much faster than I expected which was nice. The only complaint I had was that they didn't have high chairs. Otherwise a decent experience!

I had high hopes for my visit here but it was just okay. My sandwich hardly had any filling and the fries were inconsistently cooked, some crisp and some soggy. I did see some chicken sandwiches walk by and they looked much better than the sandwiches we got. Maybe I just ordered wrong. Not sure I will go back to chance it.

This place has great burgers, and their mac and cheese is good. They bake their own burger buns. The downside is that it is tough to find parking, and this time of the year, it is tough to get a table. There are extra tables on the other side of the building. Be patient as it gets full, but it is worth the wait. Great customer service and a clean place.

Customer service was wonderful. I’m vegan and was skeptical there would be any food options for me in this town so I was prepared to ask for modifications and receive some eye rolls. The blonde girl working was very accommodating though and when I asked for no parmesan on the garlic fries nor cheese on the veggie burger she let me know the buns are usually buttered and asked if I wanted that skipped for mine - yes please! Food was very tasty and just the right portion sizes to leave me satisfied. They definitely make their own ketchup which was unexpected but phenomenal (I don’t even like ketchup- it came with my fries though so I tried it and I’m glad I did!). My boyfriend got the fried chicken sandwich and he said it was the best chicken sandwich he’s ever had. Atmosphere is great too and it was nice they had heated outdoor seating. My one criticism is that the fries were more greasy than crisp, but the rest of the experience was so nice that I didn’t care and I’ll definitely be back!

Super fun vibe! Seemed like the dining room was closed but there are tables and a bar to sit at out side for a fun old school main street vibe. You can order online and pick up to go. Lots of people seemed to love that option. Kid approved! With 5 kids (6-13 years old) it seems like they never like food. But 5 for 5 of them loved it! Great food; great on quality and quantity. We spent like $85 for our family of 7.

A bit overpriced. Fried chicken sandwich with lemon aioli was light and delicious, definitely recommend. Gyro was also very good. We weren’t the biggest fans of the garlic fries- they were quite mushy. Sweet potato fries were okay.

Lola’s was a neat place to have lunch . You order at a counter and find yourself a seat inside or outside. The French fries were great. I had the blue moon burger and it was delicious. My daughter got the only vegan option on the menu and said it was good. Would def go again.

My first time at this very cute restaurant! Food was amazing and very fresh! We got the fried chicken sandwich, portabella truffle melt, and Mac and cheese! Super yummy! All the food hit the spot! The atmosphere is bright and playful! We’ll be coming here again!

Fantastic find!!! TERRIFIC AND FRESH FOOD! I has the Gyro and the Grilled Steak Salad. The flavors were wonderful. Can't wait to go back.

I ordered the tri-tip salad and was pleased with the fresh dressing and other ingredients. Others in my party had burgers and garlic fries (home cut and generous). They felt their food was excellent. Prices were fair. We ate on the patio which was nice and my only complaint was the street noise from large trucks. We ate mid afternoon and the business stayed busy the entire time! Other food being served to people around us was also tastefully displayed.

Great offerings - lots of locally sourced ingredients which always makes me happy to see!! And as someone who has a hard time deciding what to order, I really appreciated the simplicity of the menu. I got the avocado bacon melt and my boyfriend got the bleu cheese burger, we enjoyed our meals. I will admit, I’m a big sweet potato fry girly and these one’s were NOT doing it for me. Hesitated taking a star off just because of that… but they made up for it with their garlic parmesan fries. My boyfriend didn’t think the garlic was strong enough, but I appreciated not feeling like I had vampire slayer breath after eating the fries. Next time we are in the area, I would be happy to go back and try more of the menu! Just a heads up - seating is VERY limited.

Loved the food, the garlic fries were amazing, and the blue moon burger was delicious. There is not a ton of seating or parking. But the staff was very friendly and everything was clean. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

This place was so good! I loved my Blue Moon burger with garlic fries. The tri tip and pesto melt was delicious. This place was honestly fantastic. We sat outside in October and it was sunny and just a bit chilly. There were a lot of bugs which was kind of annoying. They know what they’re doing and they’re delicious. The outdoor patio is really cute minus the bugs obvi.

This past weekend, a couple celebrated their wedding anniversary at the exquisite Z's Steak and Chop Haus. They indulged in a delightful dinner on Saturday night and a scrumptious brunch on Sunday afternoon. The restaurant offered an intimate and tranquil atmosphere along with delectable cuisine at reasonable prices. Both savored the succulent Halibut dish, which was moist and bursting with flavor.
Excellent service, very friendly, accommodating & communicated immediately every & any situation that could possibly cause concern (Example: a large boisterous group seated in the center of the large dining room. No problem but if guests wanted/expected a quiet dinner at that time, it was a wise heads up). Dinner was delicious. To start, the dinner rolls smell crazy good, are generously large, tasty & light yet satisfying. The salmon was perfect & the pork serving was large & had seasoning/ garnishes piled on top. Sweet potato fries will disappoint after these - they are Heavenly - crisp on the outside, light & fluffy on the inside. The chocolate torte with chocolate ganache is an excellent choice for chocolate lovers but since dinner was so filling, we took it home to enjoy again later. Highly recommend

On first glance, it looked great. The decor was fun. The food was delicious and the service at the table was great. That said, we showed up with a reservation and waited while we could clearly see the dining area was only about 1/4 full. Each group who arrived, with our without a reservation, was made to wait 5 to 10 minutes for a mostly empty restaurant. By the time we were finished the dining room was 3/4 full... So they weren't holding tables because of covid or being short handed. They were just making everyone wait. Once we sat down at the table, as you can see in the picture, the window sill was filled with dead flies and bugs. This was one corner of the window, the other side looked the same. This is unacceptable anywhere, but especially in this 'resort dining' restaurant. I honestly cannot believe something like this was overlooked. The food and service didn't make up for the shortcomings at ANY price point.

Okay okay here it goes. Christine was our server. Talk about top notch service!!! This lady was simply amazing. Service alone was 5 stars. Now to the food. Children 7oz New York strip. Zero seasoning and as hard as a brick. Knife was dull. Son liked it but daughter said no flavor. Fries they okay. Salmon had good flavor profile but the asparagus were big and stalks not edible. Now my burger!! Had a tough time choosing as menu all looked great. Asked for no blood in the burger as that’s how I like it. Got it dry as a bone. Zero I mean no flavor at all and fall apart grisly parts from chopped steak bits. Cheese was good. The best part was homemade pickles. They were on point. Homemade steak sauce I added for flavor to get some taste! Would not recommend! I could have said something yes but we were having a great day and I obviously didn’t wanna ruin it. Poutine. Oh the poutine. Gravy they had was not gravy. It was runny leftover steak juice it seemed. No flavor and only 4 cheese curds. Definitely not a go to choice here. But if you want super great service and don’t care about food quality this is the place. Maybe give it a go in the future. It will definitely ask for flavor in the food and choose different items.

Great quality & decent selection. Tends to be on the saltier side, which is not my preference. However, we came back for the calamari & desserts! The burger was also wonderful with the bacon which was thick cut! Beef wellington was also quite wonderful. Also with their sides of the Brussel sprout & brocollini

Delicious food and great staff at dinner. You get the sense of a high end restaurant at a casual dress code facility. Prices were what I expected for a good steak/ chop house.
James Johnston — Google review
It’s disappointing to leave a negative review, but I couldn’t help it. The food was delish and in my opinion a decent price for the quality and selection of plates. However, it appeared they were understaffed and experiencing some miscommunication between staff. We made a reservation for 11, 5 of which were kids. It took an hour and 20 mins for our plates to come out and while bringing them out a gentlemen was assisting our waitress and immediately became frustrated that he couldn’t figure out which plate went where from the tab. He walked away and left the plates sitting there another 2-3 mins while looking for our waitress and when she appeared basically told her to figure it out. Throughout our entire experience there was little follow up, we had to request all the basics and they left water jugs for us to refill our own cups… which was fine my issue is the bill came out and it was very frustrating to see the gratuity. We eat out and I understand that they added the gratuity because we were a party of 6 or more…. As is most families staying at this resort I’d assume. The bill was 400… with a 60.00 gratuity, more than the usual 18-20%. Don’t get me wrong the waitress was nice but as stated IT TOOK AN HOUR AND 20 MINS to begin to get our food even though we made a reservation ahead of time. Initially half the table received their food and another 10-15 mins later the remaining plates came out. A few steaks and the salmon was overcooked, and little follow up throughout to justify a 60.00 tip. I mentioned this to the server nicely and again when she brought her manager over. He dropped the bill from 402.00 to 390.55 not even worth the feedback given. I am never one to complain especially because I know the industry is difficult especially if running understaffed but his response for leaving us waiting over an hour was some steaks take longer to cook…. But overcooked is what it was. Just take into account the pricing is fair, the food is decent but be prepared for extremely longer than normal wait times to be served and little attention to detail and then tipping them for exceptional service.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary this weekend and had both dinner on Saturday night and brunch on Sunday afternoon at this wonderful restaurant. It was super quiet and romantic and the food was delicious and wonderfully priced. We both enjoyed the Halibut dinner, which was very moist and flavorful. Substitutions were allowed so we each replaced the couscous which is normally served with this dish. We had one plate with brussels sprouts and the other with the roasted cauliflower and shared. Both were delicious! For brunch we enjoyed the Eggs Benedict and added the avocado, which really completed the dish. The servers that we had for each meal were very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed every bite!

Not very busy when I went. Which was a little bit sad.. Arrived at location and even though hardly anyone there the food was fresh, well cooked and plated and the service was amazing which made me feel at home. Since it was a bit of a drive for me and first time I splurged a bit and experimented and got a couple of meals. Ribeye was crispy on outside and Juicy in middle and cooked to perfection. Also fyi it is a very good place to get wellington beef.. I definitely enjoyed the trip and the local and wouldn't mind going back to stay for a little while at the resort... Suggested the restaurant to some friends of mine and they will be dropping in soon..

So normally, I would give 4 stars overall. But Connie tipped it to a 5 star review. During our stay, we ate here once each for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was good overall, but not exciting enough to get me to a five-star review (except the French toast, that was possibly the best French toast I've ever had). But Connie was our server on two different days, for lunch and breakfast. With three little kids, it's so nice when people just get kids and make it easy. She brought salad forks for them instead of regular silverware, since they are smaller. We ordered a green smoothie, and she told us it came in a glass and asked if we wanted her to split it into kid cups instead. The first day, she asked us if we would rather sit in a booth or at a table, and the second day she remembered us and asked us if we wanted the same booth back. My kids loved her. She talked to them directly and listened to their chatter. They called it "Connie's restaurant"

The food was okay, the beef Wellington was huge - probably could have fed 4 people. It was cooked medium well, we had ordered it rare plus but that’s acceptable to me. The fondue was good but they could have chosen better things to dip into it. The service was terrible. We were celebrating and constantly running out of wine/cocktails, and it was very difficult to get anyone to come by. They didn’t notice when we were done with appetizers until the fondue cheese started burning… we noticed this happen at another table too. I won’t be back here

New American restaurant
Midway Mercantile is a long-standing family-owned establishment that offers upscale American cuisine in a stylish and historic setting. The restaurant, which has been recently remodeled, features a cozy lounge-style bar and hearth to table dining experience. Located on Main Street, the building itself has a rich history as it served as a community food and supply store since 1874. With picturesque views of Mt.
Midway Mercantile deserves all the stars that were ever awarded. This was a very rare occasion where dinner was perfection. Every element held its own and contributed to the dish. The ingredients were thoughtful and fresh. I had the Venison Cutlets and My husband has the Wagyu (chef's cut). My husband actual ate his vegetables! I believe this chef can do no wrong. We sat at the bar and the bar tender was amazing! She fixed us tasty drinks and made sure we were taken care of. When we visit again we will make sure to put Midway Mercantile on the agenda. It is well advised to make reservations...this place is packed because it's so freaking good!

We had the best experience at The Mercantile for my sister's wedding dinner! They went above and beyond all of our expectations. John was able to accommodate all of our needs and the service was wonderful. The servers are great! Justin knows exactly what to recommend on the menu and is just so polite and amicable! I cannot say enough good things about this place. We are so happy with our experience and the food. I will recommend this place to anyone looking for a private area to have a get together.

How did I not know about this place. It is ridiculous how good the food is. Their menu is excellent, diverse, and incredible. The service was amazing, Justin elevated the entire experience. From menu and item descriptions to menu suggestions, it was all extremely good. The atmosphere is great, it really provides a cozy comfortable vibe. Overall an incredible experience with amazing staff and such good food.

We were seated right away at 5pm on a Wednesday but the place was very crowded by 6:30pm. They do take reservations so that might be the way to go. I had Idaho trout and my wife had salmon. Both dishes were outstanding with a very upscale presentation. The staff was friendly and service was quick. Would definitely go again next time we're in the area.

First time trying this place. We sat out on the patio. The food was delicious. The service was great. The only 2 negative things was the parking lot is really small. Also, they had like a fly problem out on the patio. There were tons of flies everywhere on the tables. I’m still giving it 5 stars because it was so delicious. I would definitely come again.

I enjoyed visiting this restaurant for the food, fun atmosphere, and service. Our waitress was wonderful, there were a couple times we had to wait for a while, but it was because the restaurant was so busy. The food was always great when it arrived and we had several people check in with us other than just our waitress to make sure we were being served. I definitely recommend making a reservation, I don't think we would have gotten in without one on a Friday night.

Stopped in for dinner a few weeks ago for our anniversary. Our server was awesome, very knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately we came in before they were closing for thanksgiving week, they were out of ALL their appetizers and a few side menu items. The trout dinner was quite good, my husband salmon portion was quite small. We noticed both meals seemed a lil over salty. Nice quiet atmosphere though.
Wendy Robinson — Google review
The food was great but service was surprisingly slow. It took about half an hour to get out appetizers and another half hour to get our entrees. I'm also surprised that they never asked if we wanted alcohol refills and our water was only refilled a couple of times. Thankfully, all of the dishes were delicious. The chicken and calamari were both fantastic, and I really liked the pork/pasta combo.
Fred Twum-Acheampong — Google review
A tremendous experience. The service was top tier. I received two recommendations from my server both of which were delicious. The fact they have daily specials is always a good sign and the pasta special with pork loin did not disappoint. The atmosphere was also great. This is definitely a must when in Midway. Parking was tough but that obviously has no bearing on the restaurant, it’s just something to be aware of when you plan your visit.

This place was so delicious. Every single thing we ate or drank tasted so fresh, well crafted, and DELICIOUS. We got the preacher town and the gimlet as our drinks and they were very refreshing! We started with the oysters and the bacon wrapped dates. I will echo what everyone else said about the dates and that you CANNOT skip them. You must get them and good luck stopping yourself from buying multiples. The blue cheese cream added to the plate was such a good pair too. We got the duck and NY strip special. The duck was cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. Highly recommend ordering it if it’s on the menu when you go. The butter on top of the NY strip was so flavorful and really helped the steak stand out. It was also cooked perfectly medium rare! I’d order it again and again. We ended with the hot fudge sundae which is made with homemade fudge and local vanilla ice cream and it tasted just as you’d expect! the owner came by to all the tables making sure everyone was cared for and their food was good. I am sure if we had any single problem with anything, he would’ve taken care of it immediately. Also, I had no idea this place was so massive! It had a back bar area as well as an outdoor space with heaters! Plenty of space for all your events! If you are in midway, you have to go check this place out!

After being recommended here many times, my wife and I decided to visit for our anniversary. I was extremely impressed. The atmosphere is lively and fun. John, the owner, visited our table to make the experience personal and to make sure everything was done well. The customer service was impeccable (if Basil isn't your waiter, you're missing out). And the food... the food is incredible! We started off with the Swiss fondue. The pasta is made in house and I got the special which was hand made fettuccine, a lemon caper sauce, toasted sour dough and roasted sea scallops. My wife got the pizza with roast pear, caramelized onions and goat cheese. Overall, a very enthusiastic 10/10. It's over an hour from my house but I will make every effort to visit again

My wife and I had our wedding dinner here with a party of ~45. We met with John twice before the event and he was great to work with. It is obvious that he enjoys what he does. The bacon wrapped dates might be the best appetizer I've ever had. All of the food was great and even our guests told us they were impressed with the food, service, and venue in general. The price was quite reasonable as well for the level of service we received. Thanks John for helping our celebration go so well!

Neat place to stop when traveling through. They have all kinds of stuff. Meats, cheeses, milk, sauces, jams, fudge, ice cream, and a cafe. You can even watch them make cheese in the back.

Food was good, prices are not crazy so it was alright. It took them only a few minutes to bring us the food. They globes are nice and you’re able to play your own music if you want. Service has a lot of room for improvement. Not as sophisticated as I thought but again, for the price it was alright!
