Visited during summer and felt that this would be so much better to visit during Autumn or winter.
The park is good but is no match for the Botanical gardens in Sydney. You are better off going to Cook Park.
But if you happen to be here, do enjoy it. Plenty of photography locations inside.
Rohit Revo — Google review
Lovely peaceful surrounds. Well maintained and spacious. Sculpture gardens and lakes are beautiful and provide space to reflect and review. Open often!

Beautiful garden to have a nice walk. Kid and dog friendly. A must visit on autumn. Just look at the beautiful trees!! A nice and huge playground nearby, and a cute little cafe that provides outdoor seating as well. They made beautiful coffee and food. Too bad we were there after lunch so they have ran out of stuffs that we wanted to try. Would love to visit the garden when it's snowing!
Diana — Google review
Nice walk around the Gardens with grandkids. They loved the turtles and ducks and birds .Great place for weddings ect picnics with family and friends.
Audrey Golden-brown — Google review
Beautiful and close to the city centre. In autumn they have a few bunch of very beautiful colorful trees but the rest are mostly native and evergreen. Not sure about the spring flowers
Ali Akbari — Google review
An amazing array of Aussie flora. Large grounds. Easy to walk around. A relaxing, calming place to go. Well cared for and inviting.
David Carroll — Google review
When we visited the botanical gardens in Orange, we were initially surprised by the abundance of evergreen trees instead of the traditional autumn colours we had expected. However, we quickly realized that the lush greenery was just as beautiful.
One unexpected surprise was the number of fruit trees in the garden. We were delighted to see a variety of fruit trees throughout the gardens. It was a unique and enjoyable experience that we didn't expect to find in a botanical garden.
The garden's dog-friendly policy was also a plus, and we enjoyed seeing other people walking their pets. The park was peaceful and serene, and we appreciated the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a while.
Overall, while the botanical gardens in Orange may not have had the traditional autumn colours we were expecting, we found the lush greenery and abundance of fruit trees to be a wonderful surprise. It's definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and looking for a peaceful place to take a walk, especially if you're a dog owner.
Yvette Hopper — Google review
It was a calm walk, very serene. When it doesn't snow, it's not as pretty but then you get to focus on yourself and enjoy your walk learning about the different flowers and how they arrived in Orange.
Oluwaseun Olubitan — Google review
Really comfortable, relaxing with beautiful view and fresh air. Great place to spend with family and relax.
Hermione Le — Google review
A large space
More like a huge park than a botanic garden with mainly Australian flora
Autumn would be the best time to go, as I'm sure the colours would be vibrant
Great place to relax and read
Peter Brann — Google review
What a beautiful botanic gardens! We didn't have time to see it all, but I loved the thoughtful collections. I especially loved the rosacea collection, the apple and pear orchard with windmill and the weeping elm. I look forward to seeing more next time. Plenty of spots to sit and enjoy. Bathroom facilities and cafe nearby. Looking forward to visiting again.
Catherine Brown — Google review
Such an amazing place x peace quite time with nature x worth a visit enjoy your surroundings with a picnic x
A magical playground for kids of all ages. Let your imagination run wild in this mystical place. So much fun and adventure to be had!
Nadim Accari — Google review
As we approached it looked fabulous, however, on inspection of the detail we had concerns. The structures are great, however, general maintenance has not been occuring, I fear for the child who get a splinter. Additional some of the feature lack effort and direction you would see from a more professional bigger city playgrounds (a few exposed nails and dated areas). All up a decent park in need of some TLC
Peter “Xiconia” Lyons — Google review
Extensive playground with something for everyone. Great climbing equipment, monkey bars, several swings including a wheelchair swing. Great bike track for the kids, plenty of seating including undercover picnic tables. Coffee shop right nearby too.

Beautiful playground with soo many activities for kids, places to sit and beautiful surroundings. Loved it

Very creative child's park, the weather has taken its toll on some of the activity. But still worth a visit to ware the the kids out.

Fabulous playground. My 2 year old ran around and didn’t need our help climbing on things. Was so exhausted he slept the next 2 hour leg of the road trip
Jacqueline Windle — Google review
It is a great playground to take children to, have different play equipment to choose from. The Cafe there serves lovely food at reasonable prices , staff are friendly, depending on the weather, you can sit outside to have something to eat or drink
Belinda Shepherd — Google review
Great playground, truly amazing set up for kids and opportunities for parents to either engage or observe. Plenty of room for multiple simultaneous bbqs.
The Cafe nearby was excellent and the Botanic Gardens was a perfect wind down after play. I was quite jealous that there was no park like this in Canberra. The contributors to the park were named throughout the park, so you could sense the real community value in the quality of the park.
Benjamin Brown — Google review
Such a special adventure playground. It has all the essentials- toilets 🚻, barbecues, picnic tables and shade. The wooden playground has been constructed thoughtfully to give kids of different ages fun experiences. There are swings for different abilities, fun bridges that wobble, slides, rock climbing grips, and plenty of monkey bars. Everywhere we turned there was another special thing to discover. Next to the stunning botanic gardens and a lovely little Cafe (eat botanic) this park is a must for visiting Orange with children.
Catherine Brown — Google review
Really good playground, clean and plenty to do for young and older kids.
Anna Widyaningsih — Google review
Great spot for a play. Fun play equipment, closed in area, toilets, covered seating, room for bikes. A few bits of equipment "damaged" but not unsafe or uncared for - just a lotta kids having a lotta fun.
Michael McClean — Google review
Natural dream of a playground - a lot castle-type areas for pretend-play but also slides and plenty of swings. Big area to run around with lovely little details.
Katja Moßner — Google review
Fun playground for kids.
Have 1 cafe at the area. Public Toilet as well

My husband and I came to Orange, and visited Orange Information Centre. We spoke to Susan about what to see and do. She was a wealth of knowledge and very professional and friendly. She is an asset to this town and so welcoming to visitors. I recommend visiting the Orange Information Centre to help you start and plan your stay at Orange.
Melinda Weddell — Google review
The ladies at the info centre were so helpful and understanding of our modest goals to get long term (all day), free parking and scones. We got the free, long term parking and scones. Google was not as helpful. So, yeh, ten points Information Centre. Lovely building too, good architecture and nice aircons on a windy, warm day.

Was from another town researching venues for a family reunion & the lady with whom we spoke with was brilliant, she marked venues on a local map , and shared a lot of local knowledge to help us narrow down a lot of venues to book something in . It was very much appreciated
Sharon Neave — Google review
Visited Orange this weekend to see what the area offered. Found the visitor information centre very helpful. They have a local history Museum for free and a good Cafe next door. Used the information received to get around. Especially the tip of a great curry restaurant Maithil Rasoi see my review. The wineries trip was a bit disappointing as the ones who had restaurants were booked solid and didn't have enough staff to serve. The views from the Borrodell wine tasting lookout were fantastic. See my separate review. They have plenty of maps and suggestions on where to go, even when it's raining!
Miranda Ganado — Google review
Lovely staff here. The volunteers at the front desk and in the museum section were very nice. We had a great chat with a local woman who was keen to highlight some of the nice restaurants in town, as well as giving us some advice on the markets and other activities that were on over the weekend. You can get some great guides and maps here. This is especially good if you're looking for "what's on" guides. Sometimes the smaller venues or events are not listed online, so it's good to drop in and get flyers for local art galleries etc.
Holly Corpe — Google review
Very friendly and helpful. Paul went out of his way to give us address and maps for The Garage Sale Trail
Millie — Google review
Great welcome and service from the ladies on the counter. Abundant information and local products to buy. Bought presentation boxes of local products to give as gifts.

Clean and tidy with a few little souvenirs and supplies. Bought some local olive oil which was the main reason to go there. Plenty of parking in the street. Little Cafe next door although didn't go there, we went into the museum though.

Great little spot for wine tasting when in Milthrope, great wines and the lady that guided us through the tasting was amazing.
Unfortunately no toilet facilities on site and no food but still worth a visit.

Went in for a tasting and they were some of the best Mediterranean reds I’ve had in a while. Their Barbera is to die for - very well balanced and smooth on the tongue. Best wine though for me was the Crossing Reserve Harriet. The atmosphere was nice and chill and the service was impressive as well. Highly recommend!
Dominic Kasah — Google review
Wonderfully made, complex, interesting wines at fair prices. They have the Standards though also Italian styles perfect for our climate that you rarely see. Great cellar door tasting experience.
Geoff — Google review
Amazing building. Perfect idea for a vineyard that's located a bit of a drive from town. Fully set up for all tasting. Amazingly accommodating, offering all 17 wines for tasting if you choose. The wines were overall exceptional. Staff were extremely helpful and could offer enough.
Tim Brun — Google review
Wine was OK but service was so poor I was genuinely reduced to tears. The server who greeted us was incredibly rude to us when we entered and rolled her eyes at us when we asked if there were any bookings available. She then lectured us about “etiquette” despite us only asking if there were any availabilities. Did not enjoy. Would not recommended. 0/10

What a delightful way to spend a few hours. The hosts were so fun and friendly and the old building and garden full of charm. The wine was delicious too. I can thoroughly recommend this as a place to visit.

Had an awesome tasting big experience with Kate. Best way to spend an hour or so….walked away with the Savy B. An exceptional wine!
Louise Ryan — Google review
We loved the wine tasting at Angullong. Shayne looked after us and she is so Knowledgeable and charming (she even remembered us from months before). Make sure you book online and have plenty of time for tasting. They are so generous here and there are about 20 wines to try. I especially loved their reserve Shiraz, late harvest Riesling and Pinot Grigio (and walked away with a number of the reserve and late harvest - I still have last year's Pinot Grigio). They have all price and palate points covered, I highly recommend going to angullong.
Karl Chong — Google review
Great tasting experience. Really lovely staff. And the wine is excellent.
Ruby Dan — Google review
We can't thank Kate enough for the brilliant tasting last Friday!! The wines were delicious & she made the experience extra enjoyable 🥂

Cute cellar door with full scale wine production that caters to all tastes! Quality shows through and we bought up a storm. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly which is a great touch. Happy tasting and purchasing!
Bojan Kovacevic — Google review
We have been regular wine club subscribers for some time, and so when we were wedding planning we asked our venue to organise an Angullong Wines sparkling rose champagne tower for our special day. Angullong was completely accommodating to this request and were very easy for our venue to communicate with. Our guests loved the wine and polished off the champagne tower in no time at all!
P.s. in case you wanted to add a little extra theatre to the experience, the Angullong bottles can also easily be popped with a machete (under supervision :P).

Must see exhibition which includes the extraordinary photographic record made during Hill Ends 1870s heyday. Interesting exhibition includes mining displays and short film about town establishment and subsequent State Heritage Listing.

Great place with alot of history in one spot, the owners have done a great job with so many artefacts on display. We will be back. And the kids loved it.
The venue does not have eftpos facilities.

This is the best local information centre I’ve been to. It’s more like a museum and gallery. The collection shows the rich history of Hill End and the technology tastefully brings it all to life. There’s something for all ages. Once you’re done head next door for a coffee at the cosy General Store.

A must place to visit whilst at Hill End. A lot of mining artifacts and provides visitors a historical insight of Hill End. It provides you with an idea how the village was like.
A recommended "must visit" before exploring Hill End.
Grand 1878 home with guided & self-guided tours & events such as high tea, jazz evenings & plays.
Loved walking through this beautiful family home. So much to view and the grounds were nice to walk around, checked out the peacocks and peahens too. Furniture artworks and fireplaces were amazing. Enjoyed it for 2hrs+ Well worth the entry fee, will come back another time.

Very nice area with a vibrant house. The owner family still lives there and the people still work there as part of daily errands. So many exciting heritage and nostalgic items around the house and nice car collection.
Soroush Jafari — Google review
We did the garden self-tour only, which was fine as there are plaques full of information.
Largest Scottish thistles that I have seen!
It must be very hard to maintain the original very extensive gardens without considerable funding. Gardens seem to need a more singular vision, and are in danger of becoming a mishmash of enthusiasms.
Peacocks were an unexpected highlight of this walk for me!
Siobhan Mc Inerney — Google review
Beautiful old house. Very cluttered inside feels like there is too much stuff inside not relevant to a house of that age. The owners were welcoming and are fixing the place themselves so doesn't seem to have government funding support etc. Small entry fee $15. Beautiful gardens
Jeff McNeil — Google review
This place is full of amazingly gorgeous historical items from around the globe the house itself is an architectural wonder. They are always improving, renovating and restoring. Currently underway are renovations to include a cafe which will be wonderful. Also fingers crossed that the guide book with details of many of the objects will be finished soon. Looking forward to reading more about the house history and contents Christopher 😁
Elizabeth Pickering — Google review
We visited the house during Easter holiday.
The entrance fee is $15 each and there are lots to look around.
Very beautiful garden and antiques in the house.
Highly recommended to visit!
* thanks for finding my lost wallet and sending it back to me*
COCO Sung — Google review
The house has very interesting furniture but has dead animals skins. Other then that they can be suitable for animal lovers because of a cat named Wilson, a turtle called Henry/Hank, an unnamed tabby and many, many peacocks in the garden. Perfect for history lovers too! Sometimes, you can just have a look around the garden outside. There is a church, an antique store and many more! Also, you don't need a guided tour because there is many signs of information inside and out.
Brice Lis — Google review
I really enjoyed my morning at Abercrombie house. Seeing a part of our history still alive and housing an Aussie family was wonderful, it's like its still breathing. And the staff member was lovely and getting to talk to the family members on the day I was there was fantastic also.

A beautiful mansion built in the mid 19th century. I was fortunate to visit on the annual Scottish Day. It was fabulous with lone pipers, a pipe band, singers and dancers.
The house itself is fascinating and nearly every room was open.
I will visit again.
Louise Walsh — Google review
This magnificent estate is well worth a visit. So much to see in so many painstakingly restored rooms. From the massive ballroom to the hundreds of authentic furniture pieces and a bewildering number of fireplaces. The grounds are also a sight to behold with all the lawns, gardens, stables, blacksmith quarters and other outbuildings. Friendly and helpful staff to answer all questions on the history of the place. Highly recommend at least a three hour visit.
Al Packer — Google review
This was cool, but a bit strange.
The house and historic furnishings and trinkets were lovely, and it was interesting to look around and imagine what life would've been like. It wasn't busy at all, and we were at our leisure to wander around at our own pace without getting in anyone's way.
The number of rooms and winding staircases and windows and balconies is just beyond anything we build today.
Although the renovations have been underway for literally half a century, they seem very haphazard and even the bits that are open to the public have extension leads running everywhere, visible fire extinguishers, filyhy patched carpet etc, and no information about what the room was used for, how it would've been decorated etc.
Every flat surface in the house is crammed with mis-matched bric-a-brac with no information about what it is or how it relates to the house. E.g. a Chinese vase is shoved next to an African wood carving, next to an ancient arrowhead, with some old glass water bottles stacked nearby.
Every wall is covered with random pictures and pieces of artwork, from military scenes to yachts to nude sketches to flower tapestries to family photos. Again there is no information about their time period, where they came from, how they were acquired, or how they relate to the house.
Yet there is a full A4 page dedicated to the pet turtle, and one for the yabby as well.
The gardens are not really maintained and are just "there"; not set out with seating to sit and enjoy. You can wander among the out-buildings, but none of them are open to look at and most of them have junk stacked under the verandahs etc.
The grounds do have some interesting and detailed information about the white settlers, the building of the house, the women who occupied it during WWII etc.
Overall, it's an interesting historical experience. There is plenty to see, and the family has obviously put a lot of love and hard work into it, but it feels haphazard and directionless.
Talia Kent — Google review
Abercrombie House is a magnificent looking house. The construction is a tribute to the builders of the time, as well as those who selected the materials for the building.
As the house is now occupied, not all of the rooms are accessible, but the house is so big, and there are so many rooms to visit, that this hardly matters.
We did find that the house was overly cluttered with souvenirs and mementos from the various family's travels and there was no pattern or theme to all the items in the house. It seems to be a random collection of items from around the world. It was a little more difficult to appreciate the inside of the house, the pictures of those who have lived or connected to the various residents of the home or how the house was home to various families in the time it has stood.
It's still well worth visiting for a glimpse into the early years of life in Bathurst and surrounds. The grounds of the home are beautiful and tell the story of how the more well to do lived in the past.
Abercrombie house is about 10 minutes or so from the centre of Bathurst, hidden away from the main highways and even the local roads.
Rick Power — Google review
Great to see a part of history is still here. Happy to pay the entry fee to contribute to restoration. The house definitely needs more maintenance and cleaning. The rooms open to public needs a lot of tidying up so it wouldn't feel like it's just random stuff piled up here and there. I understand that this would require lots of hard work and not to mention $$$. Funny to see the Christmas decos in July.
Jenny Hao — Google review
A time capsule sitting on the green.
The attention to details of the building's original design is amazing. The occupants of the great mansion over the years brought culture from around the globe back into their rooms and further enriched the visiting experience.
A recommended attraction on the outskirts of Bathurst.
Hidden gem in a very unassuming place.. entrance doesn’t do it justice but wow. The artefacts and that tunnel is fantastic and an amazing climb out to finish. It’s cash only so be sure to get cash from the Royal Hotel in Hill End

Great place, very interesting and informative! The museum is an absolute treasure trove and if you take the time to read the information above the displays it will take at least an hour or so. The owner has poured his heart and soul into this place and it deserves to be acknowledged and supported.
K M — Google review
You could get lost in here for hours.. so much to see and read and the collection of artefacts and information around days gone by is amazing. Well worth a visit. Kids loved the mine and the ladder climb to get out... you can really imagine what it would have been like for the early miners. Fantastic value for $10 and you would be hard pushed to find better.
Alastair Hogbin — Google review
Excellent museum, extensive collection of interesting historical artefacts, informative video and self guided mine walk.
Nevill Inglis — Google review
We recently had the pleasure of experiencing an unexpected surprise visit to History Hill which turned out to be a fascinating journey through Australian and Gold history, even incorporating some Chinese aspects. The museum was a treasure trove of artifacts, exhibits, displays and rooms showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region.
The museum also had an extensive collection of gold nuggets, coins, and other artifacts, highlighting the importance of gold in shaping Australia's economy and history. The exhibits provided a fascinating insight into the lives of the prospectors and the impact that the gold rush had on the Australian landscape and economy.
The museum had several exhibits that showcased the contributions of the Chinese miners, including their innovative mining techniques and their cultural traditions. It was eye-opening to see how the Chinese culture had influenced the development of the mining industry in Australia, and how they had adapted to life in a new and unfamiliar land.
Our unexpected visit to this local museum was an unforgettable experience. I was impressed by the breadth and depth of the exhibits, and the interactive displays made the history come alive.
We highly recommend this museum to anyone interested in Australian history, mining, or just looking for a fascinating and educational day out. Although it is looking a bit tired and dated, it is well worth going! But remember TAKE CASH! $10 per adult! But absolutely worth it! Seriously though, take cash. The whole town operates on cash (or gold if you're lucky enough to find it!).

Museum is nice and more entertaining than expected, even though there is lots of old junk like in many other similar places. I like that kind of stuff though and it has it's charm. Going through the mine is a true highlight, with several stretches of vertical steps at the other end. Definitely must visit in the area.

Unfortunately this location appears a little run down. There is definitely a lot of potential and some very interesting history to look at. I don't think this place is for everyone. It is a cash only entry so if you are intending on visiting then make sure you visit ATM prior.

Very interesting display of history, with an amazing mine which was built by hand. Even the teenagers had fun exploring History Hill. Definalty will return, due to the owners lovely demeanor and knowledge. Cash only but it is a country location and should be expected.

Great collection of artifacts and memorabilia. Could easily spend a couple of hours here. Clean amenities and nice views of the surrounding mining area. Bring light lunch and picnic in the grounds after your tour. The owner is a nice eccentric fella. Will recommend this place to everyone.

Some very cool items to look at my son loved looking at all the old artefacts and guns the mine was cool to go though.

A great museum that's chokka block full of fun facts, a mine !, dust, interesting artifacts and bric a brac. If you have school age children (or a school group) the main museum building looks like it was designed just for you. Though we are much older ... we enjoyed it too. 😁
Home of the Bathurst 1000 event, this road-race circuit has uphill stretches with panoramic views.
Beautiful venue. The misty mornings add to the adventure and challenges for the endurance races. Worth having a weekend camping trip with friends and families. Plenty of spots to watch cars roar.

Best place in the world to watch touring car/GT3 racing. Great facilities and passionate crowd.
Adequate camping facilities located all round the circuit. Does need more big screens across the top to ensure you can follow the action.

Really nice to be on a real race track with your own car after playing all the driving games in my life. 🏁
Got some thrill from accelerating, couldn’t speed over 60 km/h however. 2x 30s fast-forward video of me on the circuit. 🚘
As captured- traffic police entering the area when I was exiting the circuit. This circuit is frequented by mobile speed cams. 🚔
Zachary Tan — Google review
So good to be back at this track this year. As always the racing runs like clockwork. I think the experience this year is better than any of the previous ones I've been to. And there have been a mixed bunch of 'creative' people up on the mountain..
Peter Howie (Surveyor) — Google review
Great place to drive around and absolutely stunning views around sunrise / sunset. There is a boardwalk which is worth walking along too but it is quite steep in sections.
Luke Zhou — Google review
This place is a hidden heaven. The top of the mountain at Mount Panorama is a great spot to just sit and chill if you are around. Although many peeps were jogging on the whole track which was quite impressive as its approx. 6 kms (inclined) but the whole place had a great vibe honestly.
And and and, you get to watch bunch of Kangaroos just roaming around the area too.
Will surely go there again soon, hopefully to watch a race on this amazing track.

Very clean. The drive is very nice with places to look left and right. Speed on conrod feels to slow they need to add an extra 20kph. Ticked off a bucket list it was awesome i highly recommend.

Absolutely breathtaking. We went in the early afternoon and just as the sun was setting. A beautiful, peaceful drive with stop points to view. Highly recommend. It was certainly worth the drive.
Do stop into the car museum as you exit.

Mount Panorama, the words instantly bring the roaring of supercars charging up the mountain and that same buzz of excitement is what you feel as you drive onto the circuit (even at 60km).
A motor racing iconic location, stunning scenery and views all around.
Will I be back, absolutely.
Rebecca Buchanan — Google review
Have a drive around this iconic circuit.
The bends coming off the top of the mountain are very steep and very sharp. Amazing how fast a supercar gets through this bit.
Then go around the other way, remember it's 60kph and two way traffic, but it shows how sterp and windy the track is
Timm Anderson — Google review
A truly amazing experience to be able to experience driving like a pro, however the speed limit is only 60km.
The views from the mountain is stunning and you can even park your car and have a walk at the top of the mountain.
Totally free, but just make sure you stick to the speed limit as cops just come out from no where.
Kim Nguy — Google review
One of the most iconic race track in the world. The panoramic views at the top of the mountain are surreal, and there are plenty of opportunities for decent pictures with no fence obstructing the race cars around the track. Great atmosphere too during the Bathurst 12 Hours.

Amazing weather, if you like cool misty mornings followed by warm summer days, nature, fields of green and gold, with mother nature's music surrounding you on all sides. Wether travelling for a day visit while passing through, or camping, glamping,, hotels and motels for special holidays, Bathurst's Mount Panorama race track is the one ultimate walk and must do and see from the pit lane straight all the way to the top to Mount Panorama's specially named Brock's Skyline and the view in all weather is both breathtaking and amazing in all directions.
Why not stop at the local wineries located directly on the 6.2km Mount Panorama track. For your night caps and gifts for family members special day.

I love attending this circuit. Great track, good spectator areas. Camping here makes it a habitual experience.

Great circuit, local Council need to improve facilities up the top for spectators though.

Mount Panorama motor car racing circuit is up there with the best in the world. The size makes it great for action all the time, but the elevation of the Mount is amazing, something you will never see on TV until you are here. You can drive around too but ONLY at the speed limit LOL.

If you've never driven the track before, you definitely should try and get on a manufacturer's driving experience or professional drivers training day.
You definitely gain a better appreciation for the professional racing drivers who go around here for hours at a time.
The Bathurst 12 hour race is an amazing weekend!

Mountain Straight, Mount Panorama NSW 2795, Australia
Museum displaying cars, motorcycles & other memorabilia related to Australia's racing history.
I loved our visit to the museum! While I've been a few times over the years, it had been a while and it was the first time taking my family. I always get a kick out of seeing Australian racing history on display and being able to view up close the race cars (and bikes!) I've grown up with was very cool. The quality of the displays and background information is fantastic and a big thanks to the friendly, knowledgeable staff. Without this museum, some of the greatest race cars in Australia wouldn't be seen by the public. Whether you're a die hard race fan or someone who watches once a year when the Bathurst 1000 is on, the museum is a must do if you get the chance!
Paul Campbell — Google review
A lot of fun to see the cars up close. Aptly priced and great location, if you’re driving up Mt you should definitely consider stopping in here. The location is nice and clean, friendly staff and good memorabilia. I would recommend having the collection coin machine checked however. When I was there it took my money and didn’t slot the coin. Highly recommend.

For those who are into muscle cars, this is a wonderful place to visit, you can buy beautiful souvenirs from there, it's not so expensive. Unisex toilets are available there. There's a dark room where they play videos on 3 walls of the past races, the sound wasn't great, it was fun for kids and for adults as well.

The NMRM is located at the entrance to the great Mt Panorama race track. It looks like a small building from the front, but has a treasure trove or racing memories and history inside.
Whether it's motorbikes (racing since 1938!) or cars (since 1963), there's something here for you.
As someone who has watched the Bathurst 1000 since the early 70s, this was a real trip down memory lane. It also provided a few surprises looking at the winners of the first seven or eight years of car racing.
All the major winning vehicles are on display (either replicas or restorations) and it's amazing to think about some of the early winners and they cars they drove.
There are also some cars that have participated in the 12hr and 6hr events, as well as many of the major motorcycle races over the years. If you're a speedway fan, there are even some of those on display!
Even if you're not a motor racing fan, this will still be of interest just from a local history aspect.

A must for any racing, especially V8 supercars fan.
Always something wicked to see here. And they do rotate displays, so their is always something new to see.
Great layout and you can get up nice and close to displays which is a great touch. Don't worry both two and four wheel fans are catered for.
Love the history of the great race and this place really brings that to life.
Also has a gift shop which helped me with my Bathurst winners collection. As they have some diecast models there.
Thanks again guys, keep up the great work. And see you next visit!

Awesome place full of History that changes all the time with the cars being changed out regularly
Would be quite easy to loose a few hours here

Very over rated, very much out dated. I mean the bike board ain't been updated since 1982. Non interactive especially the children's ay ground. They expect people to have a bbq in the picnic ground. The play ground is no good for children, no shade and quite frankly they could have at least made the ay ground an interesting, interactive kids area. One day they may get the idea of what a museum should be. There is much better out there but it depends on where or what you actually want to travel to.
Spike Elsa — Google review
Great place if you enjoy V8 Supercars. Although there are a few GT cars and open wheel cars. One thing to note is that the model cars for sale in the gift shop are pricey.

1876 school-turned-museum with a renowned collection of fossils, minerals & dinosaur skeletons.
A great little museum with lovely staff. I would recommend between 15 minutes to 1 hour for most. Their gift shop is also a one stop shop for dinosaur themed gifts.

Good place to visit especially with kids. Lot's of collection of minerals and fossil along with its history. Kids were very excited to see dinosaur skeleton. There was 4 questions for kids with answers hidden in the museum and they received a free gift after submitting the paper at the reception. Small place but overall worth visiting atleast once.

Excellent museum for crystal lovers… you can see different collection of crystals.. worth visit if you are lover of fossils and crystals…unless you can avoid…car parking is available on road side… for us it took 40 mins to spend time in Museum… ideally took 1 hour approximately…

It's just like you were told as a kid ..you get to see dinosaurs and ancient animals . It's the last few days you can use your discover NSW vouchers and see something really marvelous. It's not a huge building so you will definitely have time to go through and read and really get to know about the artefacts. You enter through the gift shop into a sea of sparkling crystals..amethyst amber's and others crystals.. so many you could spend the day admiring nature's jewellery.. you walk through into the other room to be greeted by two huge dinosaur cast from original bone casts and recreated for display. Walking along the room you could experience walking through the meta million years of evolution from early signs of organisms to herds of hearing like unknown species to creatures and insects crystallized into tree wax to form into amber's .. you can see actual dinosaur bones and eggs too and find out types of fishes whose species are yet in named.. don't forget the mystery drawers of fossils. Once you have taken in all that you get to walk out of through the gift shop where if you want you can actually carry a fossilised history dating back to millions of years back home with you. .. it's really an experience.

Wow what an amazing place! It has an AMAZING minerals exhibition with so much information and laid out so amazingly! Then you step through to the fossil and dinosaur exhibition and you're in for another surprise. So many fantastic fossils laid out in chronological order with so much ieasy to understand and labelled information. To top this off, a fantastic T-Rex skeleton along with a few others. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Bathurst. Or even better, get.pass for all three excellent museums here in Bathurst and see them all! Minerals and Dinosaur, Train and Mt Panorama museums..(It's actually cheaper to get a pass for all three)

An informative museum set inside an old school in Bathurst. Describes the major classes of minerals and links it to the development of fossils and Earth's geologic history. The ticket price is $15 and the detailed and informative displays are well worth an hour or so of your time.

The Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum - Home of the Somerville Collection is located in the city of Bathurst in regional New South Wales Australia and was opened in July 2004. The collection is housed in a group of heritage buildings, the old 1874 public school buildings, in the centre of the city. Nearly 2000 specimens are on display from the internationally renowned Somerville Collection. There is an entry fee of $15 per adult. The main attraction for tourists and enthusiasts is the 10 ½ metre long and 4-metre high Tyrannosaurus rex (T.Rex) skeleton.

My son & myself love this place so much. The cottage is nice and clean. It has everything you need during the stay. The activities we joined were great too, especially the horse riding. I never like to ride on a horse last time but now my view totally changed, instruction told was clear & the host will make sure everything is fine & safe before we set off. I feel good & really enjoy it this time. The farm is well maintenance and the farm pets are all loveable. And of course, the host - Pauline. She is friendly & responsive. She never failed to reply my queries every time👍🏻👍🏻. The only downside was we are unable to stay longer ☹️
Thanks, Pauline for making our short stay so memorable 😘

Wonderful place to visit with lots of different animals. We are happy to stay there for 2 nights and enjoyed it a lot. Very happy to meet owner Pauline and had her taking us to horse riding and farm tour. She is very kind that she rescued different animals and help them grow in the farm. Highly recommend. It is not only for kids, we and my parents also enjoyed it a lot. (Fireplace at night and gorgeous star night is a plus :D )

We stayed two nights over the long weekend in the two bedroom cabin. It was a beautiful experience for our family of five. The cabin was comfortable and simple. We did the Buggy Tour last week while holidaying at the Blue Mountains. It was the highlight of our trip! Completed tour with husband and almost 17yo son. Each of us got to drive our own Buggy, so much fun, despite the minus "feels like" temperatures! We even got to see goats, cows, alpacas, chickens, horses, camels, Pepper the Pig, Bear the Dog, and even an emu! Highly recommend visiting, now I know they do farm stays, we hope to visiting again using their accommodation and take their interactive safari tour...

An absolutely amazing place to visit. My family and I had visited Mayfield Garden during their autumn festival and the place is spectacular. Little one loved it as there's so much to see, and so did we. It's vast and as their recommendation, atleast 4 hours is needed to explore the entire garden. It was very busy today being Easter Sunday, so buying tickets online was ideal to skip the ticket queue. Although it was busy, because the garden covers 65 hectares, it was still very spacious despite the number of attendances. The garden is well maintained, clean and beautiful. All the staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The maze cafe and staff service was great, food and coffee was lovely. Our experience was amazing here and we're already planning to come back again this month.
Update: Came back a second time within the month for the Autumn festival. Despite the weather being a little gloomy and light showers, our visit was still enjoyable. There's so much more to see that we didn't get a chance on our last visit. Enjoyed a picnic lunch just sitting on the lawn with beautiful scenery. Had a great time. Thank you for staff and the owners.

Having seen Mayfield Gardens on social media platforms we decided to go for a day trip to visit.
From driving in the leaving the whole day was just breath taking. Such relaxing and beautiful grounds just makes you really appreciate the natural beauty and quietness that Mother Nature has to offer. The gardens are well kept and very easy walking tracks. The cafe food was delicious fresh and very tasty. I would just recommend to book a table ahead of your visit to ensure you are able to get seated.

Just happened on this place by sheer luck and what a absolutely great find.
One of the best gardens I've walked through, very well maintained and very scenic.
Walked around here for about 2 hours but I could have spent longer if I had more time but will come again as I had to skip the maze.
Highly recommend taking a day trip up to here if in Sydney or surrounding areas.

What a spectacular and magical place. Thanks to the summer festival, we had the chance to enjoy two gardens (Mayfield Garden & Hawkin’s Family Garden) in one visit. Such an amazing garden with amazing variety of plants. The maze is interesting and enjoyable. We spent nearly 4 hours in the Garden but still felt a little bit rush. Tips before you visit - have plenty of water with you, wear comfortable shoes and carefully protect yourself from the sun. We’ll definitely come back in different seasons.

It's a spectacular place to visit during autumn. Amazing fall colours tree and lush green garden looks like a portrait picture. so many beautiful picture-perfect spots for taking photos. It's a huge garden with many different themes, and the maze is one of the best attractions. A nice cafe is there at the entrance of the garden. We visited during the autumn festival and was awesome. Takes the whole day to see everything, and it's a lot of walking but worth it

Mayfield Garden was absolutely beautiful. We were in awe of the architecture and fine details put into the different areas of the garden. Even the pathway looked as though it was put together stone by stone, by hand. We will definitely be visiting again during Spring season when all the flowers and plants are in bloom. The experience we had was definitely worth every moment and every memory. I recommend to anyone who loves nature, water and serenity.

Mayfield garden is a beautiful and large garden with a variety of flowers, plants and lakes. The garden has multiple trails to follow for the different exhibits. Three hours drive from Sydney. If you would like to hang with your family and friends, then I would suggest you to visit the garden specially during Autumn festival which is in April. I would suggest you to bring your own food as there are plenty of open spaces where you can arrange your own picnic. The garden is huge so defiantly suggest you to arrive as early as possible. Would love to visit again during Winter festival. Can't wait for it!

A fantastic garden with strong autumn colours coming through, an abundance of maple trees of different varieties, beautifully landscaped gardens for a reasonable entry fee. An absolute stunner and worth the drive in peak Autumn season. They are in the middle of Nowhere (Oberon) which means you shouldn't rely on mobile phone reception, yet somehow they keep busy with a fairly full car park. At absolute peak you might have to book your tickets beforehand, so pay attention. Looking forward to coming back in spring, and autumn again, then spring...

The best kept tourist secret in NSW. We went to the gardens after being recommended it by the Oberon Antique Shop owner. The gardens were a spectacular surprise with a WOW factor around every corner. Congratulations to the Hawkins family who created, own and manage this fabulous garden. It compares favourable with any European garden that I have visited. I loved the thousands and thousands of flowering bulbs Mayfield Garden was a delight and I will be back to see this wonderful garden in other seasons. Opened every day of the year with a delightful cafe, it was the highlight of our week in the Blue Mountains and the surrounding towns.

Lowe Family Wine is a beautiful vineyard. They have a large property with lots of seating areas and a lake. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. On the property there is also a chapel and some emus.

WOW! What a pleasure to have stumbled across this family owned winery. This is my first go in Australia and I’ve got to say, this wine exceeded anything else I’ve tasted while traveling the last few months.
The warm welcomes, education on process, generosity in tastings, phenomenal flavor profiles, and especially fun energy from the entire staff, I couldn’t be happier I visited. Left with a couple bottles, the Cabernet Franc has herbaceous rich notes that we are eager to pair with a delicious steak dinner soon. Never had a Cab like it. What an impression, I’ve made sure to keep this place in my winery references for other friends! Thank you!

We had a lovely experience on Australia Day at Lowe Wines. As club members we were about to bring a few friends for a complimentary tasting and we were even treated to a behind the scenes tasting straight from the barrels!
Thank you so much Brian and David!

I have visited and tested more than 15 wineries in NSW, but this one is the worst. We booked our slot three days before going there. They told us to wait outside until they had free tables, and we waited for almost an hour. Then they asked us to wait for an additional 40 minutes or make an online payment for a bottle. Frustrated, we left without experiencing any wine tasting and ended up paying an extra $10 for the bottle. We came all the way from Sydney for this, and it completely wasted and ruined our journey that day. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Best winery out of the 10 we went to on our trip. The abundant tasting platter which matched with the wines was a nice touch which elevated the experience. Along with the great customer service and in-depth information, the entire experience was amazing. The wines were fantastic too, of course.

Wow I have no words to describe this place. Tony owns and runs this place and he is just so lovely. We did a tasting with complimentary food pairing and it was beyond our imagination. I've tried wines from all over Australia (literally) and this place was spectacular. Thank you Tony for introducing an avid red wine drinker to Chardonnay. I can't wait for my next wine delivery!!

We had the most amazing experience at Short Sheep! They were very accommodating and thoughtful with a tasting platter with matching snacks for every wine we tasted.
I would highly recommend this winery to anyone visiting Mudgee, it will not disappoint.

We came here two days in a row! We did the camp fire with wine tasting, toasted Marshmallows, Mulled wine and a delicious beef hot pot with baked potato for... only $30 per person!!! Such an amazing experience! The owners Sue and Tony were super friendly and full of life! We came back the next day to buy a few bottles their delicious wine. We also got to mingle with the resident cats (Truffles) and Ayra the Maremma 😊 If in the area I highly recommend you go in for a tasting!

What an absolutely delightful experience! Tony is so knowledgeable and passionate, and provides an experience very far from a simple 'wine tasting'.
We will definitely be back!

Lovely service, couple-owned winery who really took care of us. They have an intimate wine tasting experience with tasting platter to match during COVID. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Mudgee for the first time.

We visited this small winery and stayed in their accommodation back in 2015. Lovely couple who ran it and lovely time. Wines were good then. We just had a 2013 Syrah and the wine has become better with age, very smooth. Worth the wait to have this bottle. If you are in Mudgee this small winery is one that should be on your list.

Sue and Tony were the perfect hosts - from looking after my elderly parents to saving the day by retrieving my bouquet I left behind on my wedding day! Waking up to the glorious views of vines, sheep and surrounding hills helped make our time in Mudgee for our wedding special. Thank you Sue and Tony! David and Tracey 4-10-2018

This was one of our favourite wineries/experiences in Mudgee. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the owner. We had an amazing tasting with some pairing bites to eat. The owner clearly cares and is passionate about the wine he produces. The wine was amazing, as was the experience of the wine tasting. We left there buying a few bottles of wine and we will definitely be keeping an eye out for what they do in the future.
A welcoming and great winery with some of the best views! Tastings are $10pp for your choice of a curated selection and refundable upon purchases. Make sure to grab a picnic mat to sit outside and soak in the amazing views. Will definitely return when we’re in the area.

Beautiful all glass tasting area looking over to the Mudgee hills. Staff have a vast knowledge of each of their wines and seem to really enjoy interacting with customers. $10 tasting fee is taken off any purchase. They also offer a delicious cheese/nibbles plate for $30. Have been there a couple of times, definitely recommend a visit

One of the most enjoyable cellar door experiences in all of Australia:
The winemaker takes the tastings and is knowledgeable without being pretentious
The view is amazing
You can have a glass of wine on the hill after the tasting
They remove the tasting charge off if you buy a bottle of wine (like cellars doors used to do before Covid!!!)
It was the Easter weekend and they had a live acoustic artist and locale chef come in to make amazing seafood casual lunch options.
We loved every single wine we tried (but that’s up to personal preference).

Everything was amazing. The view was beautiful, the service was great, and the wine tasting was really enjoyable. The cheese platter was also very good!
We especially liked that we could choose to do the wine tasting either with red or white wines (as my partner only loves red and I only love white!). There’s also the option to mix both.

The Japanese Bath House offers a serene and rejuvenating experience with its indoor and outdoor hot baths, cold plunge tube, and steam room. Visitors can even book a private bath for added relaxation. The atmosphere is tranquil, perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat. The staff provides top-tier service and maintains the facility's cleanliness diligently. Guests can also enjoy manicured gardens and stunning views of Lake Lyell while indulging in various baths.
Amazing experience. Service was polite and friendly. We also booked for a massage and it was extremely professional and relaxing. They only allow a certain number of guests in the facility at one time so it was reasonably spacious and peaceful. Everything was explained very thoroughly during the tour upon entry. Would love to come back!
C Y — Google review
A great concept but with not the best execution. The rules and operational consideration takes priority over guest experience and it is a rule-fest from website, confirmation email to welcome speech. Once inside the site is ok but the farm itself is a mix of farm detritus. Much of the decor is plastic, including the plants and “bamboo” walls. The team are friendly and efficient and the masseuse (es) were excellent. The food is quite good and it is well worth completing the Japanese experience. It was expensive and had the experience been more complete/authentic it would have been a bargain. As it is it was ok but I wouldn’t want to do it again.
Jacques Bergh — Google review
Went there during Easter holidays and paid for a package that includes 3 hours of bath time followed by 1 hour massage / facial.
In my opinion, the place is on the small size, however, they do control the number of people so it’s not extreme crowded.
The place is clean and staff are courteous reminding guest of Japanese etiquette.
What I didn’t like about this place is its disconnection from nature. And don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking about the view over Lake Lyell. That’s fantastic, however, everything you can touch is plastic. The bamboo garden, the pool, the cave, the furniture, even the tea cups.
I was also disappointed when they told us we couldn’t take our own tea in. Food is rather pricy. Facial 5* / massage 3*
The above package for two cost $700 including the view. We think it’s more than what it’s worth.

This is an absolute must to attend if you are a local to Sydney or are visiting. The quality and service provided here is absolutely remarkable. You get a personal guided tour of the entire Sparadise and then encouraged to use all their baths and services during the allocated time. Recommend you to book early when they open (2PM) because you get the place to yourselves, no need to wait for baths to be free and have the peace and tranquility you deserve! At about 4PM onwards it gets absolutely packed and you have people lingering around, sharing baths but if you don’t mind that then go for it! The only downfall of this place is the restaurant, the food is extremely pricey and for standard food court japanese food. They can charge that price because there’s no other food available for kilometres!! They charge $9 for tea pots that literally taste like hot water, absolute rip off. Eat before or after, save yourself the hefty bill. Otherwise a must to visit!

Brilliant, the service and attention to detail was very high. From the moment you walk in you are treated as if you’re special, the various pools are fantastic and the staff take time to explain everything, the location, overlooking Lyell Lake is breathtaking and the landscaping within the property is brilliant. The only 2 negative comments are that the massage isn’t long enough, you must at least include a 1 hour massage, the other thing is that we bought a voucher for the value of the package at the time, due to COVID we couldn’t go until now so the charged us extra because they have since put their prices up.

We went during a cold and rainy day and it just made the bath more warm and cosy, lots of undercover places to laze around in. 3 hours was enough in my opinion, I'd only recommend you eat before since the food is expensive ($40) they give you free thongs and a waterproof bag. Staff are very nice and attentive. Very intimate and romantic place and traditional, clean. Like you are transported back to Japan.

Just as we expected and more. My partner and I booked the private bath experience and the three hour bath house entry for our anniversary. Well worth the money. It left us feeling rejuvenated, relaxed beyond belief and like we had been truly pampered. What a beautiful experience.

We loved it here! So relaxing and it being a cooler evening made the baths that much more inviting. Plenty of different size and shape baths to choose from so take your time to explore. We were here 3-6pm, so it was mostly daylight but also got to experience the night settle in and their lights come on which was pretty magical too

If relaxation/destress is what you're after, then I highly recommend the Japanese Bath House! Located approximately 2 hours from Sydney CBD, this place has a variety of packages to choose from. We opted for the destress package, which includes a 30 minute massage and 3 hour in the public baths.
Bookings are needed as there is a maximum capacity allowed inside, so it is recommended making a booking atleast 3 weeks in advance, to avoid disappointment. I highly recommend making a booking for one of the early slots (around 12 pm), so that you can take it easy without rushing.
There is plenty of parking, and when you enter, you need to leave your shoes on a rack and then walk through a pool of water and at the end of it, you're given a pair of slippers to wear (yours to keep) and welcomed and given an introduction to the bath house. You need to sign a declaration form and then you're given a key to the locker. You can purchase a towel here (about $10), if needed. Each person needs to have a towel of their own. If this is your first time, you would be given a tour of the bath house.
We were then asked to change into our bath robes and then taken for our massage. The massage was followed by a nice hot tea, which has very welcome on a nice cold day. We then went and enjoyed the different onsens which were nice and relaxing (it is recommended that you spend a maximum of 10 minutes in each pool).
Following the time spent in the water you do build up an appetite. There is a restaurant to order meals from (on average a meal would be about $30), which you can sit and enjoy. The portion sizes are fairly decent and quite tasty.
Overall, I would highly recommend it and definitely go again!
Hit a like, if this was helpful 😊

Had an amazing weekend getaway experience for our anniversary!
We chose the night stay package to get to experience all the baths and an hour massage.
Plan on having a meal from the in house menu or an early dinner in Lithgow to return to enjoy the baths at night for a whole other experience!
A must try to escape from the city and enjoy the scenic country side in the comfort of a Japanese bath.
Definitely planning to be back soon 😄

I was very intrigued to how this was going to be, pleasantly surprised. My hubby even enjoyed it ( which was the all reason for going ) I think it’s great for people that have ailments and not recommend for young. As it is a relaxing environment and if you want to sit there and chat your in the wrong place.
I personally loved the hot pool and the cold plunge bath was invigorating mind and body.
I opted out for refreshments there , wheelchair access pretty much everywhere.
And above all service was bang on !!! I’d love to go back soon !!

Always a great time here at the bath house. Clean facility, good control of the amount of ppl they take daily. Lots of different pools to choose from. My favourite is to finish off the whole experience with the herbal sauna and then go for some yummy food. Food on site is more pricy than a normal restaurant ($35+ for a main like rice or noodles), but quality is very good making it more acceptable. We ordered curry beef rice and the beef is really good quality. Also the pork noodle is so yum too.

I've been a regular here for quite some time, even before they renovated the place. The cleanliness is top-notch and the staff are always professional. I did notice a slight increase in prices during the public holiday, but it wasn't too significant. I would suggest visiting earlier to avoid the crowds.

This place is beautiful and meticulous. Manicured gardens, the service impeccable. Thoroughly clean and have strict hygienic protocol. A large variety of baths set up on the hillside overlooking lake lyell. Had a massage and spend a couple of hours using the facilities. It's pretty pricey but the experience was wonderful, would do it again
Cristina Noordermeer — Google review
Amazing customer service the moment you arrive. We had the private bath experience which was really nice. The staff were always making sure floors weren’t too wet and cleaning the place. We ate afterwards inside where the food was tasty but small portions and fairly overpriced. However, we did go there for the bathhouse experience and not the food so I am not too fussed. The little sleep pods were so useful as the hot water does make you fairly tired fast haha, wish there were more of them around. Would really recommend this for couples or anyone looking to get away for a relaxing experience! I would definitely want to check this place out at night to see the stars!

Loads of hot baths and pools, herbal sauna was the best. Just missing a really cold plunge.
This place would be ideal during colder months.
Paul Hulak — Google review
Lovely place to relax and have a wonderful hot spring water with multiple different sizes of pools. Cave pool, individual pool, big pool, cold pool, steam herbal sauna.
Remember to book the appointment via email before 6 weeks, pay when you are here. 3 hours cost $190 for 2 people to enjoy their facilities. The driveway is quite dangerous if you drive in dark due to no road light and narrow winding road.
You can bring your own foods or snacks in the car for bag and keep in cabinet as the prices of foods really expensive. You can go out to eat in your car if you feel dizzy or hungry.
Take a short shower before start, need to wear swim suits and bring own big towel or bathrobe to keep you warm when you move around. It is better to bring another towel to use after finished the bath before leaving.
They provided slipper to use and take home after finished, free water proofs bag to carry things with you if needed. There are 2 drinking water stations with paper cups, have one is need to pump quickly for water to comes out. Changing area and rest area have heater to keep us warm.

I had a complete experience at this Bath House. First, the price here is reasonable. You basically get what you pay for. Service is top-tier. All the staff and friendly and nice. They do keep this place very clean. There’s always a person going around mopping. Second, the vibe here is super Zen. You’ll feel relaxed as soon as you step into then place. I’m quite pleased with the settings and the baths. Get massage package as well. I mean how often do you really come here. May as well get then combo! Third, I must say there’s not alot to do after 1 hour. They should really add more temperature zone. However, I still highly recommend this place! You’ll like it.

Amanda took us through a wonderful tasting and we learned so much about wine and how it is made and the Dr Beaurepaire story. We were glad to have taken the time out to visit this beautiful vineyard.

I recently visited a winery that felt like it was plucked straight out of a heartwarming movie. Owned by Richard and his lovely family for 26 years, this charming place rests on rich limestone soil, imbuing their wines with unique character.
The family's warmth and hospitality were truly the highlight of my visit. Richard, Janette, Annabelle, Katie, Will, all contribute to making this winery a homely and welcoming spot. Annabelle, a lively presence, brings a delightful energy that resonates throughout the vineyard.
Each wine here tells a story, notably named after each family member. The 'Annabelle' stood out with its subtle yet profound flavors – a testament to the meticulous care put into every bottle.
What really fascinated me was their innovative use of laser technology as a bird deterrent – a futuristic touch in this rustic setting. It's not every day you see a vineyard embracing such novel methods to protect their precious grapes!
In summary, this family-run winery is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates fine wine, heartfelt hospitality, and a touch of technological ingenuity. A hidden gem that’s well worth the journey!

This winery is a definite to put on your must do list. Make sure you book first to get the most of your experience. It starts with a wonderful scenic drive through their vineyard, where you can get an appreciation of the passion and hard work that has gone into their single estate family vineyard. You'll be met at the door by the friendly family dogs, with garden views forever and then welcomed into the cellar door - usually by a member of the family. They definitely do things differently here to any winery you've been to before, so make sure you've booked an experience and you'll be guided through the unique French style wines grown on the estate. The family will share their passion and knowledge with you, it's an excellent experience for those wishing to learn more about wine. We were blown away by the superb wine, joined the wine club and now look forward to each delivery with much anticipation. You must go!

What a pleasant experience we had at De Beaurepaire Wines! Popped in and were greeted with two friendly faces. We had a spectacular taste at this first-rate winery with the owner, Richard. He takes you on a wonderful journey from France to Rylestone, explaining how the wines came to fruition. His depth of knowledge is impressive. When the taste is over, you can kick back with a bottle and cheese plate in their garden area which is thoroughly enjoyable. Well worth a visit if you’re in the Mudgee region. Highly recommended.

A fantastic experience. The wonderful tasting across their extraordinary range was all the more enjoyable with Richard's fun, informative commentary on wine, wine regions and the context and evolution of this winery. The most beautiful French style wine in Australia. Amanda ran our Tours tasting which provided an overview of the range of wines produced by the vineyard. We were delighted by how informative she was not only about the wine we were trying but also the science behind planting various grape varieties, producing different styles of wine and so forth. Genuinely my favourite vineyard thus far. They also have the most polite puppers who greeted us as we walked in.

Absolutely loved this location. Did a day hike up to one of the peaks. Not difficult but good boots are recommended. Views are gorgeous but plenty of water is a must; it got quite hot climbing up on the rocks, not many trees up there! Staying in Mudgee, worth the trip out!

This is a beautiful hidden gem. No reservations mean that you can come last minute to enjoy the amazing wildlife and stunning scenery. You must go out on the water; bring your own or hire a kayak or paddleboard by the hour. Oh and bring an inflatable if you don't want to miss out on the fun! There are a few stunning bushwalks that take you over to the rock pagodas and to the dam. There are some Aboriginal rock art sites and creatures from lyrebirds to goannas to wallabies.
Facilities are basic, but that's why you're camping! There's no tap so bring plenty of water in with you. Perfect for families, the sites are level and there's firewood provided. Bring cash to pay your site fees and kayak rental.

This place holds a special place in my heart, I have been here with friends twice now, I couldn’t image going to anywhere else to camp, swim and enjoy the beauty of this place. I live to kayak in the evening where the water reflects on the amazing huge rocks.

We went to Chapman Valley on Saturday 29 January
We booked an hour of riding with my friend, everything was perfect .
We had not ridden for a long time but our guide helped us a lot.
A nice one hour ride with a very nice weather.
Lots of stories to tell with our guide. Thanks again, we will come back.
Special thanks to Clyde, Chicken and Mr Jery. Ines

Absolutely loved chapman valley horse riding! I have tried a fair few trail riding places across NSW and these guys are by far the best!
Every worker was kind, fun and absolutely loved their jobs- we were never made to feel like we knew nothing!
Property is absolutely gorgeous and very large and the horses are so loved and carefully picked for each rider.
Will be coming back!

I had my first ever horse riding experience at Chapman Valley Horse Riding, as a newby i was nervous to get on, but the guide made me feel comfortable and confident and by the end of the ride i was sure it was something i wanted to do again. The views on the trail ride were beautiful and the horses were of lovely nature and were well looked after. I will definitely be returning!

September 3 day muster
I had absolutely the best time during my stay at Chapman Valley for a 3 day muster.
Leading up the the arrival date ample and excitement-building information was sent via email. These emails provided all of the information I needed to know prior to my arrival including what to pack. Fortunately I read this thoroughly and packed enough warm clothes as the nights and morning were very cold (I wore thermals and my snow coat). I would definitely take ugg boots next time.
The drover's quarters were tidy and perfect accommodation with excellent bedding and privacy.
We all sat around the shared dining table for coffee/tea in the morning and aperitif in the afternoons.
The guides and horses were so so so great. Massive shout out to Joce and Peta for pairing us up with great horses, we were all matched perfectly for our experience and requests (I've never heard someone request a young one before 😆). Bullseye was the man for me and we developed a really lovely bond over the three days. Joce and Peta provided a wealth of experience and knowledge of the horses and property as well as many laughs... heard across the valley I'd expect at times.
The 3 days allowed us to experience many different parts of this stunning property while bringing the cows in.
The Chapmans were the perfect hosts joining us throughout the three days including for meals and sharing their stories of their 5th generation home.
The food was beautiful, home-style meals and accommodated my terrible intolerance list- well done to all the cooks!!!! the lemon slice was definitely a highlight.
My other highlights including having no reception, horses joining us around the camp fire, watching the working dogs do their thing- and then having a cuddle after, learning about the land and hearding the cattle up, exploring the stunning property and meeting the most incredible and interesting people. This is a really great reality escape and I will be reminiscent of this trip for a long time.

Chapman is one of my fav places to ride in Sydney (and fav place to camp for the hubby). They also cater for intermediate to experienced riders where not many do! The little one also loves the lead ride there. Jess, Marg, Sam, Hannah, Yanna, Rachel and team are all just a pleasure to deal with ❤️! Looking forward to be back in May for the full day rides :)

Fantastic experience! Really does cater for experienced riders.
I headed out on the experienced all day ride over the weekend and was beyond impressed. Forward, happy, healthy and responsive horses who were totally comfortable on the property. Lots of opportunities for long canters through the bush and open paddocks. Guides were fantastic. I’ll definitely be back!

Can’t recommend Chapman Valley enough. First time in the saddle for over 2 years. Every single staff member made me feel so welcome & safe - even choosing a horse they knew would respond well to me. This made me feel so special & far more confident getting back in the saddle! The 2 hour ride was incredible, and the guides were so knowledgeable. They tailored the ride to suit everyone’s ability. Can’t wait to go back soon!

Looking for an outdoor escape to kick start our holidays my Mum and I went looking for an outdoor riding adventure and found Chapman Valley Horse Riding; as keen horse riders who have been riding for more than 20 years we were utterly impressed with how wonderfully well cared for the horses were, how welcoming the staff were to everyone, the commitment to safety, the excellent temperaments of the horses, and the stunning scenery!
We stayed for two nights in the communal camping area close to the amenities block. Everything was very well maintained and cared for with a self check in service to adhere to social distancing requirements and fully stocked for convenience.
We booked two rides during our stay; a half day (4hrs), and a 2hr ride on our second morning.
Both rides were outstanding! The riding groups are small with very friendly and knowledgeable guides who take great care in matching you with the best horse to suit your riding skills and take your personal preferences into account wherever possible - there were constant smiles all around!
To the Chapman Valley team; Connor, Jess, Hannah, Kat and Flicka, thank you all so much for all of your efforts in making it such a wonderful weekend, and especially for your patience with all of our questions!
We will most definitely be back!

January Adult Horse Camp was absolutely wonderful. Such a fabulous team taking care of us: Peta, Tania, Gabby and Rach. Thank you for teaching us so much about having our own horses, and making it a magical weekend away.

My sister and I went camping and horse riding here for the weekend and absolutely loved it! The campsite was very picturesque and peaceful. The horses were absolutely gorgeous and the trail ride was the best I'd ever been on. I've been to a few trail riding places around NSW and this one definitely stood out for the care they show their horses and their professional commitment to their riders. We will definitely be coming back for a ride and more camping! :D

The cattle muster was absolutely the best horse experience I have had. It’s a Trail Ride with a purpose. The working horses were brilliant, they were responsive, knew what we were trying to do (even when we weren’t sure 🤣). I learnt so much about cows and the camping was great. I can’t go back to trail rides - I’ll be back again and again

Another amazing three days mustering cattle at Chapman Valley! You won’t find friendlier hosts, more reliable horses and more beautiful scenery anywhere within a reasonable driving distance from Sydney. Oh, did I mention the delicious food? Can’t recommend enough!
Beautiful quiet winery. Amazing view and we could have stayed for hours. Served by Gretel who was personable and knowledgeable. Had a great chat from horse racing to nuclear power plants. Had the tasting and cheese platter. My personal favourite drop was the Winters Mist Merlot. $22 a bottle. Very reasonably priced.

We came across this winery unexpectedly during a road trip and were so impressed with the hospitality and service that we made sure to visit again on our way back home.
We were thee wine novices that weren’t made to feel at all bad about our lack of wine knowledge and the wonderful hostess at the time patiently answered our questions and explained to us what we were tasting without making us feel inferior at all. As a result we all bought a couple of bottles of wine each and made sure to come back on our return trip to sample the cheese platter while sitting on their beautiful verandah enjoying the view over part of the vineyard.
We will definitely visit again next time we are road tripping.

What a great place to relax. We spent a few hours sampling their wine and enjoying a cheese platter whilst overlooking the valley. All excellent. Their gardens and surroundings are superb. Hunter Valley perfection.

We had an outstanding wine tasting experience at Two Rivers. We were fortunate to have the cellar door to ourselves on a Monday lunchtime. Our host Gretel did a great job of taking us through the wine range. We tasted all the whites at the tasting bench. We then enjoyed tasting the reds with their large cheese and antipasto platter on the verandah overlooking the vines. We particularly enjoyed the Pinot Grigio, Verdelho and Shiraz. We also tasted some local produce - olive oil, dukkah and balsamic vinegar. We left loaded up with wine and other produce.

Beautiful spot to enjoy a wine and the Cheese Platter gets a mention in every review for a reason. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The wine is delicious and very reasonably priced.

$10 per person for 8 tastings, you can also get the cheese board for around $50. Very good experience and very nice staff.
Lovely olive grove nestled in the Lower Hunter Valley.
Rhonda was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with the tasting.
Very nice locally made produce and a wide selection of oils, balsamic vinegars and condiments of offer.

Called in today could not fault it. The most welcoming friendly staff, clean facilities, had a picnic lunch relaxing in their outdoor area listening to the soft rustle of the leaves in the Olive trees. Purchased the most delicious variety of oils, dukka, mayonnaise, vinegar and skin care products.

I have visited Pukara Estate a few times now including their tasting room at Denman in the Hunter Valley and also at the various fine food shows. I must say their products always taste the same which is wonderful. Their cook book is full of ways to use their fresh extra virgin olive oil with fresh, clean food experience. 5 star!

We saw that this venue was highly recommended so called in whilst staying at Muswellbrook and were not disappointed. I am interested in various aspects of cultivation generally and found that most of my questions were answered informatively. The staff member who served us is a person who obviously had a passion and interest of her own for the products and so could speak from both personal experience and from the perspective of the production company as well. The shop has a wide variety of olive oils with a range of infusions, and most of these were richly flavoured whilst not overpowering the base olive product. Likewise, the vinegars were richly flavoured varying from fruity infusions to the more standard products one would expect to find. Other products such as farm-made Dukkahs were available and we were shown how to match the olive flavours to the particular Dukkahs. On the whole, this was a great educational as well as palate-pleasing experience. As someone else has mentioned, the prices were not cheap, but then neither was the quality!

Came across the Pukara Estate stall at the French Market this morning. The stall attendant was extremely patronising and rude to my partner, her mother, and I. We are all long time customers and love Pukara Estate products, especially the Caramelised Balsamic Vinegar. Unfortunately such a negative experience has made us entirely reconsider whether this is something we will continue. We were planning to pay a visit to the Hunter Valley location, however will no longer even consider it. Extremely disappointed by the experience provided by the Pakura Estate staff.

Upon arrival was greeted by the most lovely lady who was very patient as we tried oils after oils and vinegar's after vinegar's. Bought 7 bottles and will be ordering more online as i could eat the caramelised vinegar all day!

Myself and two others went here on a Sunday afternoon. It was after 2.30pm so the kitchen was closed but we were still able to have a cheese platter. We chose 5 different cheeses and this size platter was plenty for the three of us. They were all delicious and paired with a wine was even better. Lots of other artisan goodies to buy on offer in the shop as well. Staff were friendly and parking was easy. I would recommend checking it out!

Lovely tasty breakfast. Felt it was a little overpriced for some dishes though, compared to other places. Food was quite delicious, especially the B.L.A.T. Service was friendly but they seemed a little distracted almost like we were interrupting them when we arrived and again when we ordered. Also, we weren't given the activity pack listed on the menu with the kids meals.
They forgot the extra hash brown I ordered, which they made when I let them know, but it was pretty average and not worth the $4.
Cute cafe and lots of products on display for purchase.
Overall, it was nice and we enjoyed our breakfast.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating because we wanted a bigger table outside. And we had an extra show up. Wasn't a problem for them. The food was fabulous and fresh. From burgers to lamb tarts and salads it was all delicious. The fudge was yummy too. So treat yourself. All 10 of us will go back again.

Sooo disappointing. We'd been warned by another party who'd recently ordered the pizza, not to bother with pizza at Hunter Belle. But seriously, how hard is it to stuff up a pizza?!
I really wish we'd listened. Their cheese pizza is the most crappy pizza I've ever had, and I've had my share, in many different countries around the world.
There was an overabundance of topping, so the dough had zero chance of being cooked in the first place. But it's cooked in an ordinary commercial oven on a metal tray, not even on a pizza stone.
When it came out of the oven it was then smothered in a tomato sauce by Chef 1 (I was at the counter enquiring about the 40minute delay so had a bird's eye view). Chef 2 then used a serviette to blot off the sauce and replaced it with the white swirly thing.
The dough was uncooked apart from the very edge. We were famished so we scraped the topping off, and ate our modest salad.
Which, on the other hand, was delightful, and on the table in six minutes. Stick to salads, friends :) and if you think it's normal for both meals to arrive at the same time, just get two salads.
One of the wait staff was very pleasant and offered a complimentary coffee, but that wouldn't really make up for the disappointment, or the price, so we declined. Sad face...

I have mixed feelings. We had breakfast on the Sat and Sunday of the same weekend. The Saturday experience was superb - food, coffee and service was terrific. They even had wonderful outside area so we were able to bring our dog. We returned on Sunday, the experience wasn't as pleasant - it was very very busy and the waitresses at one point appeared nearly over-whelmed. Although the food and coffee served was of the same standard as the day before, I was unable to select presents from their merchandise - I felt I would have been in the way. We would return.
I was impressed with the birds we saw sitting outside (willy wagtails, wrens etc)

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Hunter Belle Cheese Factory, and I was profoundly impressed by the service provided by a young employee named Alice. Despite her youthful age of just 16, Alice displayed a maturity and professionalism that went well beyond her years.
What stood out most was not just her enthusiasm for her job but her remarkable ability to handle questions she might not have the immediate answers to. Instead of simply acknowledging her uncertainty, Alice took it upon herself to find the answers, ensuring that no query was left unresolved. This dedication to customer service, paired with her willingness to learn and adapt on the spot, was truly refreshing.
Alice’s service is a testament to the quality and character Hunter Belle Cheese Factory nurtures in its staff. Her assistance not only made our experience memorable but also showcased the importance of patience, diligence, and a positive attitude in the workplace. It’s rare to encounter someone so young with such a strong commitment to excellence in service.
I look forward to my next visit and hope to see Alice continue to thrive and set a remarkable example for all young professionals in the industry. Her future is undoubtedly bright, and she is a fantastic ambassador for Hunter Belle Cheese Factory.

A busy little Cafe / Restaurant showcasing a lot of local produce.
Have to say I was really surprised by the good portion sizes and the creative freshness of the food.
Cheese is obviously a focus being a Cheese maker and plenty of their own fresh varieties are available.
Restaurant is licenced and offers a taste of local breweries on their drinks menu.
Also sell a small range of delectable gelato.
Definitely worth visiting...it's on our go to list from now on.

Recommended by Two rivers wineries Vanessa on our way home.
We bought some cheeses off our antipasto plate we had for lunch. They were yummo.
We have booked it for a birthday party
We shared a great experience at this winery, the setting was well laid out to be like a Tuscan outdoor seated experience. The cheese platter provided has a great arrangement of different cheeses that weren’t your standard. The wines and service were quite good, recommended that you to visit this winery.

This has got to be one of the best wine tasting experience I’ve ever had! It’s a bit of a drive away from the other wineries and hubby was complaining on the way here but said it was all worth it once he got here😂
The lady who served us was so nice and welcoming! Amazing vibe all around and super spacious and well decorated outdoor seatings. Lovely animals roaming around-super chilled. My favourite has got to be the Wild Pink sparkling rose, delicious!
Highly recommend to give Krinklewood a try if you’re in the area.

We enjoyed an enchanting afternoon sunset at what is one of the most beautiful estates in the hunter. You are given the option to eat and taste in solitary but when approached, the staff were exceptionally knowledgeable and hospitable. I could not name another location that produced such consistently palatable wine across their entire range. The vintage tasted was not big and rough, rather delicate with refined and complex flavours. Exceptional value and generously priced. We look forward to returning for many years to come.

Krinklewood is my favourite winery in the Hunter Valley! It’s stunning grounds (you feel as though you’re in France), really knowledgeable and friendly staff and delicious wines make for a memorable experience and keep me coming back!!! Can highly recommend the all their wines offered on the tasting; however, stand outs for me are the Sémillon and Wild Shiraz! If I could give Krinklewood 10/5 stars, I would.

I recently had the pleasure of doing their winery tour with Anna, and she was incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of winemaking from all over the world. The wines were delicious too! As a professional videographer at I Love You Films, I've captured moments across many locations in Hunter Valley, yet Krinklewood Estate Winery stands out as a truly magical venue.
Recently, I had the opportunity to film a bridal editorial set here and was utterly blown away by the beauty of this place. Krinklewood possesses a charm that is rare and enchanting, making it an ideal backdrop for any special occasion. Whether it's the lush vineyards, the meticulously maintained gardens, or the elegant architecture, every corner of the estate exudes a serene and romantic ambiance.
What struck me most was the estate's ability to seamlessly blend into every season, showcasing a different aspect of its beauty throughout the year. From the vibrant greens of spring to the warm hues of autumn, Krinklewood transforms with the seasons, always providing a picturesque setting. The estate's French-inspired vibe adds a touch of elegance and sophistication. It feels like stepping into a little piece of France.
As a videographer, I appreciate locations that not only provide stunning visuals but also inspire creativity. Krinklewood Estate does just that. Its scenic beauty and tranquil atmosphere made capturing stunning shots effortless.
Whether you are planning a wedding, a special event, or just a visit, Krinklewood Estate Winery is a must-visit destination. It's not just a winery, it's a piece of art that enriches every experience with its majestic charm.

What a beautiful, tranquil place Krinklewood Winery was. It was the first stop of the day, and they set the bar very high! The owner was amazing, so helpful and lovely. We did the ’Taste at your Pace’ option, which was perfect with our 7 year old twins as they could explore the winery, play with their gorgeous dog Polar, find the peacocks, all while Mummy and Daddy were able to try a variety of their beautiful wines! This place was next level, I would highly recommend…. And their wines… 👌 You’ll just have to go try for yourself! They’ve now got a member for life 🍷😍🍇

One of the best wine tasting experiences ever! A bit further away from the main Hunter area but definitely worth the drive.
Had the guided tasting tour with the beautiful Provence platter - staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable on the all of the wines (bio-dynamic and organic). Booked in at midday (12:00) on Saturday and almost had the whole cellar door to ourselves!
The cellar door is also dog friendly with Polar (owner's Maremmano) around to play with guests.
We went there with our neighbour and our kids. Easy parking right out the front, slightly smaller physically than I had imagined, but spread over two levels with a lift available if needed. The museum itself is far more modern and with many more exhibits than I expected, so it was very educational on the history of the infantry and role our soldiers have played over the years.
The staff were overwhelmingly friendly and we finished off with a great-value lunch in the cafe. Entry to the museum is free, so definitely worth a visit.

This place is one of the best military museums in Australia. It is geared towards the Australian Infantry Regiments and as such it’s exhibits are about infantry, not the army or defence force as a whole. It is clean, tidy and very well priced. The staff are friendly and usually available for questions or a tour and are for the most part current of ex-serving members of the Infantry Corp.
It may be a little out of the way but it is worth a drive as it will rekindle the Australian spirit within anyone with an ounce of patriotism.
It also has a cafe that serves up some excellent grub and drinks.

An amazing journey through Australian wartime history, not one item displayed is a replica piece.
A heartfelt thank you is also extended to WO2 Steven Black for the wealth of knowledge he shared with us on our self guided tour, also to our service men and women past and present.

Toilets. What else would you need after a few hours in the car. No need to spend up just have an empty and be on your way. I presume there's some interesting info in the visitor centre. Hopefully, we will one day have high tech cameras that can capture the beauty of the orange pigface. Isn't the human eye an incredible sensor? These orange pigface are not at the visitors centre. Anyhow you've had something to read whilst you have a dump.

Was very good once ,however this visit just looked unkept.
The ladies toilet doors had a substance splashed across them, the disabled toilet was locked, it is hard enough for a disabled person without having to go into the desk and ask for the key, broadcasting their disability.

I was also curious to have a look at the People of Singleton photographic exhibition. It is beautifully designed with lots of natural light and great areas for exhibition and/or meetings.

Harkham Wine is a favourite cellar and wines across board for those visiting the Hunter Valley. The owners are entertaining, fun, and very knowledgable about their wines. They offer several tastings throughout the day with unique wine selections that are sure to please any palate. Harkham Wine also produces Semillon, which is said to be one of the best in the Hunter Valley Region.
Absolute gem in the Hunter, one of my favourites! Definitely worth a visit. Beautiful cellar door, with a great atmosphere. Richie shared so much knowledge about his winemaking process, which was fantastic. All the wines are delicious, and the chocolate liqueur is insane!

I have purchased online from Harkham too and the service could not have been any better. Highly recommend.

Fantastic boutique winery in the Hunter valley. Great selection of organic wines! My fav is the chocolate liqueur and tawny! Bought a few bottles and coming back for more soon.

Wonderful service in a quirky, artsy and laid back setting. The wines reflect the establishment and we enjoyed our experience here. Would recommend the chocolate liqueur.

Really disappointing. Range is limited. Wine is over-priced and not that special. Service was indifferent. Last year we'd tried the Rose and it was great but the wine has gone downhill. With so many wineries around this just doesn't have enough going for it.

Great wines and excellent service. Walked away with a chocolate liqueur and the Chardonnay. Loved the waxxy bottle design

10/10 would recommend heading here, bit off the beaten track but great kanga viewing and the staff are lovely. I saw all the reviews and it absolutely lived up to it. Definitely try the chocolate liqueur!

The standout winery in the Hunter Valley! The service and friendly staff are a real vibe. The tasting list was delightful - each wine had it's unique character. The chocolate liqueur is something special! Thank you for a superb afternoon!

The reviews are all true. Harkham is simply superb -both the wines and the service. Bryce's knowledge and passion really showed as he served us those incredible wines. Harkham was the fourth winery we visited on the day but was the best overall. I was never a Rosé fan but just a taste of the 2021 Alchimie Rose made me buy my first Rosé in years. I'll definitely return.

Awesome winery! Was really the highlight of my trip! Amazing organic wines and a really cool and hip vine, epic tunes pumping! This was the last visit of our day and was by far my favourite one! Couldn't recommend it more! Make sure you get on the choc liqueur wine, so damn good! Really loved the Aziza's Chardonnay (and I'm not a white wine drinker!!)
