Less crowded beach, compared to other beaches.
Here there is no water sport and so it's clean and awesome.
Nice peaceful environment.
Best time to visit is morning. (Early morning on any beach is just awesome)
Just loved the beach.
Only thing didn't liked was parking cost was too much for cars and buses.

Same beach stretch but different sections I'll say, this side of the beach (away from the temple) during weekdays isn't that crowded, u get a vibe of private beach with a beautiful sunset, clean beach, clean water and warm sand. The only con on this side is there's no changing or shower area around unless u have ur stay around. It's good for a sunset walk.

Really beautiful and a very less crowded beach. We went here early in the morning and we were the only ones here. It was a great opportunity to click a lot of pictures and capture sunrise. The water is also decently clean and there are not many vendors here selling stuff to disturb you. There is a little walk to beach and you can't take your vehicle all the way upto the beach. This place is a great one to collect sea shells.

Baneshwar Temple
Hindu temple
Sights & Landmarks
Jungle temple from the mid-1700s dedicated to Shiva, with a storied antique bell, ponds & statues.
This temple is located on the Pune Satara highway near Nasrapur, the road is great along the highway but as soon as you take the turn the roads are bad and since you pass through the village centre it's pretty crowded as this place is a main center for many nearby villages. The roads are narrow at some places hence you need to be careful. After reaching the spot there is beautiful Shiv temple and it also has 3 ponds filled with fish and turtles, apart from being a place of worship there is a garden and adventure park developed for attracting more tourists, it has entry fee of Rs 20 for adults.
It's a must visit place during all seasons but specially during monsoon to see the waterfall, we saw a lot of large groups had come here for family picnic with packed food and having it in the shade, good place to hangout, kids can also enjoy in the playground with equipments.
Parking can be a little tight for cars during a crowded day but it's manageable. The adventure park was closed during the lockdown period but it has been reopened and undergoing renovations, please do visit and ensure you enjoy responsibly and contribute towards making this place even better
There are a couple of small hotels serving snacks and packaged drinks incase you need a quick bite, they also sell packed drinking water bottle

Beautiful place. Old temple surrounded by huge trees. Temple and adjacent garden makes a great combination. Must visit after rain. It's all green, and there is a beautiful waterfall at the back of the garden. Some snacks stall are there outside the temple. Sufficient parking space.
Titiksha Pansare — Google review
Nestled amidst the serene embrace of nature, Baneshwar reveals itself as a tranquil sanctuary, where ancient spirituality and vibrant biodiversity converge in harmonious symphony. At the heart of this verdant oasis lies an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, an emblem of timeless devotion, cradled by two sacred ponds teeming with life—fishes and tortoises glide through their waters, embodying the cycle of life and renewal.
Enveloping the temple, a dense canopy of trees whispers the ancient tales of the land, their leaves dancing to the rhythm of the breeze. A well-crafted path meanders through this green labyrinth, offering pilgrims and nature lovers alike a chance to wander in meditative contemplation, grounded by the earth beneath their feet.
Despite the whispers of misguidance found on the web, the modest entry fee of Rs.20 ushers visitors into a realm where nature's spectacle unfurls—a so-called waterfall that, though modest, charms the eye from the vantage of a thoughtfully constructed viewpoint, overlooking the Shivganga river basin.
For the young and the young at heart, Baneshwar extends its playful embrace with a quaint playground, its swings and sculptures of giraffes, elephants, eagles, and tigers sparking the flames of imagination. Adventure beckons through the thrill of rope bridges and zip-lining, each activity a testament to the spirit of exploration and the joy of soaring heights.
The sanctuary’s care extends to practical comforts as well—ample free parking, inviting eateries, and a floral haven at the garland shop. Though the call of nature may be less pleasing in one respect—the facilities provided—this minor note does not mar the overall symphony of experiences.
Baneshwar is more than a destination; it’s a journey through time, nature, and spirituality, rated highly in the hearts of those who seek its serene touch. Best visited in the rain's embrace or winter's gentle chill, it remains a canvas of experiences, painting memories that linger long after the visit.
As legends whisper of tunnels connecting to historic forts and the tales of kings who once graced its grounds, Baneshwar stands as a testament to history, culture, and the enduring beauty of the natural world. A visit here is not merely a day spent but a moment cherished, wrapped in the green embrace of the earth and the watchful gaze of the ancient.

Best old Lord Shiva Temple also called Baneshwar located in Nasrapur. Temple is surrounded by lots of green trees and a river. There is 2-3 ponds on the entry it contains many white and black fishes and lots of tortoise.
On the side of temple there is all type of snacks available in the stall.

This place has a natural beauty around it surrounded by jungle and beautiful waterfall at the back side of this temple which costs around 20/person and it's really clean with a restroom facility in the jungle. The temple also has small ponds with tutorials and fish. You will enjoy this short trip but the only problem is reaching here as the road at the entrance is very narrow and gets hidden by street vegetable sellers

It is such an old temple still the Maharashtra government is not making any efforts to preserve it.Coming back to the temple some kind of restoration work is going however some local people are doing that and they are spoiling the old monument. Temple close between 8 Am till 5pm make sure you go early in the morning or evening to get the shivling Darshan closer.. There is a park and water fall behind the temple where kids and families can go and spend a one day trip and they are also providing 4 hour package inside the park which includes food and some activities all in all a good place to visit for a one day.. It was a great experience to visit Baneshwar. The place is very calm, easily reachable from the highway, surrounded by forest. It has a kids play area outside for kids, a good parking space, flower and coconut shop and a few other temple shops. Also there is. Walk beside the temple which has a good green area and reaches the waterfall at a distance of 500-800 MTR. Overall a simple serene palace.

Temple is nice but surroundings not that properly kept
Good place for kids. Nice jungle, serene atmosphere. They even have an Agro Tourism. Temple is pretty old but very well maintained
1. Old Lord Shiva Temple with two water ponds having fishes & tortoises
2. Dense tree forest with well organized & nicely paved walkaway
3. More websites is misleading.
Entry fee is Rs.20/- per person for all above 5 years to watch the so called waterfall
4. Well constructed view point for viewing Shivganga river basin that contains the so called waterfall
5. For kids:
a) Spacious small playground garden with swings & few other things
b) Giraffe, Elephant, Eagle & tiger sculptures
c) Adventure sports
One ride Rs. 50/- per person
i) Walk on bamboo in center of hanging rope bridge
ii) Walk on hanging tyre below rope bridge
iii) Walk on hanging vertical rope bridge
All above rope bridges are of approx. 5 meter length only at a approx. 5 meter height above ground.

6. Free 2 & 4 wheeler parking, ample space
7. Small eateries
8. Flowers & garland shop
9. Footwear stand at the entrance of temple Free

Overall I will rate this place in the range of 7 to 8 out of 10 points from kids point of view for the families.
Park your vehicle for free, visit the temple, after visiting temple, buy entrance tickets & stroll Baneshwar at your leisure. 30 minutes is more than enough at Baneshwar unless Kids want to play more, then 60 minutes enough.
Best time to visit in rainy & winter season (June to Feb). Not recommended during summer.
I visited yesterday i.e. 10th September 2023 with my Friends.
After Narayanpur visit you can head further straight to Saswad & from Saswad to Dive ghat to Phursungi to Hadapar to Pune. There is no toll post on this route.
For any doubt on road junction or road T junction (eg for Nasrapur, Kapurhol, Saswad) please ask there & there itself.
It is better to ask & be on right route than heading on wrong route without asking.
I have attached photos of Baneshwar trip in this review & have tagged appropriately for better understanding.
Hope you will find the above information useful to plan Baneshwar trip in the best way.
All the best...

Rajgad Fort is a hilltop fortress located in Maharashtra, India that is renowned for its historical significance and popularity as a trekking site. The fort features palace ruins, caves, and water cisterns that offer visitors a glimpse into the region's past. Despite being one of the toughest forts to climb in Maharashtra, trekkers can enjoy an easy to moderate level trek by walking through the small town at the base of Rajgad.
This place is very good for hikers and tracking, there is two way to get in one is Pali gate that is easy n good for beginners and other one is gunjawaane gate thar is bit difficult. Also u can stay there for night in camp or there is 3 temple u can sleep inside, overall a good adventure trip .

Rajgad is a popular trekking destination located in the Sahyadri mountain range of Maharashtra, India. The trek to Rajgad is considered to be one of the most challenging and rewarding treks in the region. The trek offers stunning views of the surrounding valleys and hills, and the fort at the top is a testament to the rich history of the region.
The trek starts from the base village of Gunjavane and takes around 3-4 hours to reach the top. The trail is well-marked and passes through dense forests, rocky terrain, and steep inclines. Along the way, trekkers can enjoy the scenic beauty of the region and take breaks at various viewpoints.
At the top of Rajgad, trekkers can explore the fort and its various structures, including temples, palaces, and water tanks. The fort also offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys.
Overall, the Rajgad trek is a challenging but rewarding experience for adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers. The trek offers a glimpse into the rich history and culture of Maharashtra and provides an opportunity to connect with nature.

Two routes from gunjavane village
1. Chor darwaja - well trodden path
2. Gunjavane darwaja - less used but has nice jungle. Should be used for ascent. A bit slippery for descent but doable with the help of railings
One route from Pali which goes to Pali darwaja - easiest of all
Some other routes that I did not take are
1. from village Male
2. There is a road going to village bhutonde which intersects the rajgad torna trek route. You can park here and go to Rajgad by Alu darwaja or further fo to Kalehswari buruj circling the balekilla
Latest update - no food is served on top now except buttrmilk cucmber and lemon juice
Carry your own food
No nightstay allowed anymore

The trek here is of easy to moderate level. You just have to walk a lot. The whole experience is so soothing at the end of the trek when you see the scene from the top. Recommend to start climbing early so the heat of the sun doesn't drain your energy.

Massive fortress. Must visit. Brilliant camping experience. Adventurous trek.Rajgad, the first capital of Swarajya, this place is blessed with the pure feet of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his family. This place has many entries and exits but Pali darwaja from the village Pali and chor darwaja from village gunjawane are the most commonly used in modern times. The easiest route is from the Pali village. This fort has 3 machis padmavati, sanjeevani and suvela. Padmavati machi has a lake, a temple and samadhi of maharani sai bai, the wife of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The fort has ruins of buildings and monuments all over and is one of the favorite forts to do camping uphill. Suvela machi is located towards the eastern side of the fort and sanjeevani is located towards the west of fort. Both the machis are 2.5kms long and are very beautiful and are an architectural marvel. Sanjeevani machi also has a aloo darwaja located which is used to do range trek to torna. Balekilla has a very thrilling way up (also beware of monkeys) and a view worth every stair. Balekilla has 2 buruj and few ruined buildings, the rajwada and sadar is located on the balekilla. water options are available up. Food can be ordered through locals who stay at the foothills or can be cooked by own.(Only veg food allowed) Many organizations have been working for conservation of the fort and this has resulted positively that many things have started to improve and are maintained properly. A proper 2day and 1 night stay camp will be more than enough to explore this fort entirely.

Superb place for trekking, few stretches were challenging. You have to climb over the rocks, it's easier as they have placed support handles. To reach the top it would take 2-3 hrs from the base. Wear good shoes. Views from the top of this fort is mesmerising. You need an entire day to see all the places in this fort. This fort will be in it's best during monsoon or post monsoon. Entry ticket for this fort is five rupees per person.
Pranav Kamble — Google review
The fort is a very good place to visit with family. This is one of the biggest forts in Maharashtra and it is 70-80km away from Pune. There are two forts on the fort, one is Rajgad and the other is called Bali Killa. You need to take some precautions if you are planning for Bali Killa if you are with small children. You should avoid Bali Killa if you do not know about it.
The sunrise and sunset are awesome there. Highly recommended for everyone.

It is one of the best monsoon treks in Maharashtra. We had enjoyed this trek and found the trek quite slippery. I’ll suggest to go with trekking shoes only and beginners can avoid this in monsoon season.
View from the trek is quite greenery and soothing.

Rajgad Fort offers a captivating scenic experience, making it a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts. The lush greenery and panoramic views make it an ideal spot for trekking, providing adventure seekers with a challenging yet rewarding ascent. The availability of food uphill adds to the convenience, ensuring that trekkers can refuel while enjoying the breathtaking surroundings.
The fort becomes particularly enchanting during the monsoon season, adorned with vibrant vegetation and cascading waterfalls. The challenging trekking paths add an element of excitement for those seeking an adrenaline rush. Moreover, the provision of food at the base camp enhances the overall trekking experience, allowing visitors to relish local cuisine before and after their adventure. Rajgad Fort stands as a testament to nature's beauty and provides a fulfilling trekking expedition for those seeking both adventure and scenic delight

All the forts in Maharashtra are incredible. Rajgad is one of the toughest to climb. Regular trekkers will not feel much fatigue but the one who will go for first ep shapely gave the challenge. It's nearby Pune City. You can reach by 2/4 wheeler here, in the small town situated at the base of Rajgad you must park your vehicle and stay trekking. It's a great fort. The view from the top is simply awesome👍. You can enjoy a beautiful sunset 🌇

I had the privilege of visiting Rajgadh Fort during the monsoon season, and it was a truly enchanting experience. The combination of history and nature in the rainy season makes this fort a hidden gem.
The weather during my visit was rainy, but it added a unique charm to the fort. The fort's surroundings were covered in lush greenery, and the ancient stone structures seemed to come alive in the mist and rain. The waterfalls cascading down the hills nearby were a sight to behold.
Despite the rain, the accessibility to the fort was manageable, but I would recommend wearing sturdy footwear and carrying rain gear. The fort's historical significance became even more evident in the monsoon, with the rain-washed walls and the smell of wet earth.
I also had the opportunity to participate in a guided tour, which provided fascinating insights into the fort's history and architecture. It's a perfect way to make the most of your visit.
If you plan to visit Rajgadh Fort during the rainy season, remember to embrace the weather, take your time exploring, and capture the mesmerizing views. It's an experience that will stay with you for a long time.

This is a beautiful medium difficult Trek) hiking (more precise) place near Pune. It takes 2 and half hours for leisure up and 1 and half hours and return. Few places have steep up, railings are there for support. Not suitable for kids, old aged, Cardiac patients, and pets. Better to start the trek early in the morning and to carry a water bottle. On weekends, a lot of people will be there as a company and few small vendors with water, and refreshments at regular intervals are available. I enjoyed it, and it was worth hiking.

This fort is the best in itself..it has more surface area as compared with other forts, on high altitude with fully covered भक्कम तटबंदी.
More than 10+ spots on the fort to see.

One of the greatest fort in Sahyadri ranges. This was first capital of Chatrapati Shivray. Torna and Sinhgad fort clearly visible from here. Height is 1400 metre. Must visit place all the time in a year. Moderate risk trek till Pali door. Balekilla is little difficult to trek.

Rajgad fort is among the most historically significant forts in Maharashtra, it was the first capital of the Maratha empire under Chhatrapati shivaji.
The fort is located about 60km south west from pune city.
As usual morning is the best option for the trek, the trekking starts from a small villege named Gunjavane, you should walk around 4.5-5km (one side) to reach the fort entrance. Better carry enough water and stuff.
At the top, fort is divided into many parts like Padmavati machi, Suvela Machi, Sanjeevani machi etc and the top most part called Balekilla.
It was a great and wholesome experiance for us trekking this beauty.
Things to be Noted.
- Better get there (Gunjavane) by your own vehicle since there is only one direct bus to Gunjavane from Pune, Swargate depot. Its leaves from pune at around 9.30 -10 Am
- If you want to go by bus from pune, either get the direct bus or Go to Katraj (5km approx from pune) then get Bus number 296 to Margasani. From Margasani you should travel 6km to reach Gunjavane (where trek starts). You’ll get rikshaw for ₹300-₹400 per trip.
-The last bus to return from Margasani to katraj is at 8.00PM.
- Entry fee is ₹5
- There wont be cellular range at Gunjavane, better carry Liquid cash for food and other essentials.
The Raigad Fort is a hilltop plateau complex that houses ruins of towers, temples, and reservoirs. It served as the capital of the Maratha Empire and was termed the Gibraltar of the East by the British due to its strategic location and stunning views. Adventure enthusiasts and trekkers can put their skills to test exploring this captivating fort.
You will get goosebumps if you visit this place. Please do not take ropeway Unless & until it is to urgent. Please climb the fort through the given path. Please carry water bottle & some light snacks, wear sunglasses etc. You are really going to enjoy. You will feel proud that you have born in Maharashtra. Please visit this place as many times as possible.

Raigad Fort capital of maratha empire. Loved to know the history of Raigad fort. Ropeway experience was good. Before going on the fort there is museum and short videography of Shivtirtha Raigad. If want to visit the fort and want to use ropeway should reach the raigad before 3 otherwise the ropeway booking gets full during weekends or vacation time.

Majestic Historical Marvel.
Nestled atop the Sahyadri mountain range, Raigad Fort stands as a testament to Maharashtra's rich history and architectural prowess. Ascending the fort through the picturesque route, one can't help but marvel at the ingenuity of its design and the strategic advantage it provided to the Maratha Empire.
The panoramic views from the fort are simply breathtaking, offering a glimpse into the grandeur of nature and the resilience of human endeavor. The trek to the top might be challenging for some, but the rewards are beyond measure.
Exploring the fort's various structures, including the majestic Raj Bhavan, the grand market area, and the awe-inspiring Maha Darwaja, one can't help but be transported back in time to an era of valor and honor.
However, it's not just the history that captivates visitors; it's the sense of reverence and awe that permeates every corner of Raigad Fort. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply seeking solace away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Raigad Fort offers something for everyone.
I highly recommend visiting this historical gem, not just for its architectural splendor, but also for the profound sense of connection it instills with our past. Truly a must-visit destination for anyone exploring the treasures of Maharashtra.

It is a very good place to visit with a very interesting story. We went there by rope-way, it cost us 1200/- for a two-way trip for one person and it takes only 4 minutes to reach the top. It was raining a lot when we visited so that somewhat dampened the excitement but still, we explored pretty well. We also hired a guide to understand he charged us 500/- which is acceptable for the knowledge we got about the place. This place is worth a visit.

Raigad fort is a highly important fort of Maharashtra. The place is well situated geographically and the overall structure is really well built. Unfortunately it wasn't preserved well, but the government is now taking steps towards betterment. The fort is hugely spread and every direction holds a history of its own. You will get guides over there who take a considerable price for a fort tour. The villagers provide meals barely at 80 rs cost. You can also use the ropeway, but you might need to wait for hours on weekends. Even the trek is easy as the steps and path are well built. It takes around 2 hours from the base point to reach the top.

If you are visiting Raigad, best time is in winter and for best scenery you can visit in Monsoon but only my ropeway. There are to routes to reach at the fort . One is by climbing stairs. Trek is moderate level and takes 2 hr max one way considering all the brakes in between. Another way is ropeway which starts from backend of raigad. Fort was built by Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and named as capital of swarjya. To know more about the history do take a guide there. Keep the fort clean . Before visiting do read some articles related to fort to get feel of knowing something while watching fort and get lost into the history. This fort will show how brave where the marathas and their warriors. Jay bhawani jay Shivaji 🚩🚩

We went on Friday considering huge footfall and to avoid rush.
Beautiful fort with rich heritage. I always wanted to visit Raigad so we didi a trek on one of my friends birthday.
Currently lot of maintenance and restoration work is going on hence you might not be able to visit all the attractions. But I'd suggest to go and visit the fort if possible try to help workers a little bit as it would be the biggest historical moment for all of us.
We used the stairs roughly around 2800 plus stairs. But people can also choose rope way option as well.
I don't need to explain why this fort is so amazing and very close to the heart of all maharashtrian people.
Go visit and experience the stories of our legendary king. How he built this fort why it was important for maratha kingdom. Hear the stories for local guids they will literally take you back to that era.

Due to clouds it was difficult to see some things. Also you have to be careful while walking as things are not clearly visible due to clouds.
Recommend to read history before visiting the fort, so you can feel the importance of the place when you are walking there.
I don't recommend visiting on Sunday because there will be huge traffic jams as most of the people park their vehicles on the road side. Even when we visited on Saturday, when we left around 2 in the afternoon we were stuck around 1 hr.
Another suggestion is you can trek route, I did not go that route, so not sure about the difficulty. Next time definitely I am definitely going to trek to Sinhagad Fort.

The most famous fort for its historic significance as well as the easy travel there in the city of Pune. It’s visited on the daily by a lot of people as a part of their exercise. Sadly the whole fort is now covered with vendors selling food and chips and what not. There is no management for litter here which is disappointing.
The climb is fairly easy but there is easy access till the top by cars or local drivers who take you there. You have to climb the stairs and walk a little to roam around after that.

3. You'll find food shops at the top of hills.
4. Paid washrooms 🚻 are available but it's very dirty. I think it's not being maintained properly.
5. You'll find temples, samadhi, nice scenery, good trail for trekking.

Murud-Janjira Fort is a stunning marine fortress dating back to the 15th century, boasting old canons and 19 bastions. Situated on an island 500m offshore, it is the most magnificent of the forts along the Konkan coastline. Built by the Siddis in 1571, descendants of slaves from Africa, this imposing citadel served as the capital of a princely state. Visitors are drawn to its magnificent architecture and rich history of battles fought here.

It was one of the worst experience to visit the Ajinkya or to be said in conquered fort Murud Janjira. The ASI have failed miserably to maintain this masterpiece of architecture and Portugal legacy. They charge you for everything, entry, ferry etc but basic services itself are missing, also no proper care is taken and not informed to passengers while boarding ferry that they will be left on the fort for walking on the sea. Poorly used, not marinated at at all. Do not even think of bringing elderly people along. No system at all. A great historical monument near Mumbai and alibaug is jus wasted by localities and ASI

Murud-Janjira is the local name of a famous fort and tourist spot situated on an island just off the coastal town of Murud, in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, India.
The word Janjira is a corruption of the word "jazira", which means "island" in the Arabic language. Murud was once known in Marathi as Habsan ("of the Habshi", that is, the Abyssinians). The name of the fort is a concatenation of the Konkani and Marathi words, "murud" and "Janjiri". The word "morod" is peculiar to Konkani and is absent in Marathi.
Specialty of the Janjira fort:
1. This fort has only one gate to enter inside and which is facing towards Rajapuri on the shore and can be seen only when is about 40 feet away from it. There is other doorway to the west called the Darya Darwaza, which opens into the sea and was probably used as an emergency escape door during those days.
2. The main attractions of the fort are the three colossal canons called Kalal Bangadi, Chavri and Landa Kasam. Once upon a time it stood farm and robust in defense with 572 Canons, but now only 3 canons can we witnessed. These Canons have capacity of 12 km range into the sea.
3. This for is known to stay unconquered in any fight until it was handed over to the Indian region after autonomy from the Britisher's. This fort was attached by Dutch, Portuguese, British and Maratha's, yet remained unconquered.
Things to do
1. There are many things that one can see on this fort. The remains of the Royal Palace of Siddi Surulkhan includes a five-storey building, Three giant cannons (Kalal Bangdi, Chiavari and Landa Kasam), and more than 35 other cannons.
2. An Arabic inscription on a marble plaque reads yohar' which means '1111 H. (A.D. 1694), two freshwater storage tanks, Chor Darwaza, etc. The Padmadurg fort near Janjira was built by Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Tourists can take a special ferry ride to this fort.
Visiting Rule and Time, Best month to visit
• The best months to visit this sea fort are from October to March as the climate remains comfortable for sightseeing. This fort is closed during monsoon rains due to safety reasons.
The fort is open from 7:00 A.M. to 6:30 P.M.
•In order to reach this fort, one has to take a ferry ride from Murud coast to the fort. The ferry ride tickets vary from 50 to 300 INR depending on the size of the boat, while entry to the fort is free.
To see the entire fort you will need approximately 1-2 hours.

Breathtaking fort in the middle of the sea.
You can visit the fort by taking a ferry that will cost Rs. 80 for a return ticket but it is also customary to tip the boat navigators in addition to the Rs. 80 paid for the ticket . Also you have to pay for an entry ticket for the fort of Rs. 25.
It is a good fort to visit the only issue is that the boat operators don't allow you to visit the fort for more than 40 mins as you have to return in the same boat and it leaves in 40 mins. 40 mins is too less time to fully explore this fort.

The fort is now under Central government control . no maintenance on the fort. There is no Direction board as well plus there is no guide .
Still I must tell you that this fort is really worth .The structure is elegant and surprises you As they have many place who is still look like as they have built recently.
Plus for notes You will have to pay 100 rs on main counter for return boat. Then from one boat to another they will ask u to shift another boat and on same boat one person will give u some little information about fort and then ask for money to pay something 100 or 200 by saying that there is no guide on this fort and its their only way to earn money . After this once u get down from the boat then again u have to Pay rs 25 for entry and with in 30 min u will have to return to the same boat .

Honestly, I did not visit this fort from inside because it didn't seem much of interesting.
Also, they charge a lot Rs 40 for to and fro journey to fort. Rs 25 to visit fort from inside.
Also, Rs 400 when you enter their premises.
Plan accordingly, if you are really find of historical places you can give it a try.

It is amazing place. Now fort is little bit damaged but you can experience a boat riding to reach to the fort. Boat riding experience is just awsome. Must visit this place. How the fort is built inside the sea.

One of the Master piece of civil engineering.
No doubt u will be stunned after visiting this fort. The fort is almost of 1000 years but still it standing like a Rock.
Today's world should take some lessons about the durability of the civil work which was performed here.

What a beautiful fort in middle of the sea, as we know the history of this fort, it’s worth visiting this place! I will highly recommend you to go here! If you are going in afternoon make sure you have caps and 2/3 bottle of water as it is exhausting to keep walking under the sun without any shades. We were able to see some dolphins from the top a beautiful moment to watch over the sea!

A marvel indeed in todays time. The entire experience is worth having at least once in a lifetime. Right from switching from a ferry to an oar boat with 60+ people on it flaunting every safety aspect, to jumping from a rocking oar boat into the fort and hoping you don’t slip or fall into the sea. The insides of the fort is well maintained and it’s amazing to see fresh water ponds inside the fort which is located right in the middle of a salt water sea. Overall an experience that will definitely get your adrenaline rushing.

View is awsome.. Ride the sail boat if u want to see the fort from inside, even the view from the top point of fort is superb
Ruchi Nema — Google review
It's a historical place of 900+ years old. You should pay around rs.200 per person as different charges including parking. A sailing boat ⛵️ will bring you to the island and they let only ½ hour to see the Fort. The boat will wait for ½ hour only. It's hard to see the Fort completely in half of an hour. Keep some water and snacks if u need. Nothing is available at the island but u can buy things at the port.
The Fort is very big and awesome 👌 worth seeing.

The Murud-Janjira Fort stands proudly on an island off the Arabian Sea's western coast in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, India. This historical marvel is renowned for its robust structure, intriguing history, and breathtaking location. Built during the 15th century, the fort has withstood numerous invasions and attacks over the centuries, making it one of the most impenetrable forts in India.
What sets Murud-Janjira apart is its unique architecture, constructed entirely without using any mortar or cement. The formidable walls, adorned with 19 rounded bastions, create an imposing sight against the azure sea backdrop. The primary purpose of the fort was to safeguard the Janjira Sultanate from pirates and rival powers during its heyday.
Stepping inside the fort, visitors can explore its various sections, including the main palace, mosque, and freshwater tanks. The majestic view from the fort's highest point offers a panoramic vista of the Arabian Sea and the picturesque coastal landscape.
Murud-Janjira is not only a symbol of architectural brilliance but also holds significant historical value. It remained unconquered by various forces, including the Marathas, British, and Portuguese. Today, it stands as a testament to the rich cultural heritage and resilience of the region.
A visit to the Murud-Janjira Fort is a captivating journey back in time, where history and nature converge, leaving visitors awe-inspired and enchanted by its timeless beauty and storied past.

The Fort is a beautiful place to visit, but there are a few things to keep in mind before planning your trip. Firstly, it's best to avoid visiting on weekends and holidays to avoid long queues for ferry tickets. The boat ride to the fort takes around 15-20 minutes, and once you reach the fort, you'll see a huge queue of boats, where you'll need to wait your turn to disembark. However, getting off the boat can be tricky, especially for senior citizens and kids. Additionally, visitors need to purchase entry tickets upon arrival. One should be aware that the boat that takes you to the fort is the same one that brings you back, so the time available to explore is limited. We took the Pushpvati boat and barely had 20 minutes to roam around, which felt too short.
It's worth noting that the fort boasts two large ponds and impressive canons, making for a beautiful sightseeing experience. Despite the potential wait times, seeing these features alone is worth the trip.

This fort is magnificent, built on the middle of the sea hundreds of years ago still holding good till this date. The architecture of this fort is truly fantastic and flabbergasting. Only con I see is that this place is very crowded and over commercialized which ruins the fun.

Murud Janjira Fort is a coastal marvel. This historic fort, situated on an island near Murud, Maharashtra, boasts impressive architecture and a rich past. Accessible by boat, it offers a glimpse into the region's maritime history. The fort, unconquered in its time, tells tales of resilience. The scenic boat ride and panoramic views make it a must-visit for history buffs and nature lovers alike.

The fort is in ok condition but the entry at the fort needs to be developed. The way we get down from the boat at the entry is pathetic. There is no proper provision to get down from the boat that you have to jump while getting down. Authority should look into it as it's difficult for old age people to travel over the fort.
Yogita A — Google review
Adventurous and Unique experience. The fort is in very bad condition but the fact that the whole village once upon a time used to be there is surprising. The idea ,the execution of such an island Fort is worth watching.
Sreedevi Jayan — Google review
The fort is now under Central government control . There is absolutely no maintenance, forget restoration. There are no boards for directions for fort visit nor are there any guides. There are no information boards near any of the structures so you are just left guessing about everything.
Oh yes, one thing the government has implemented really well is the entrance fee.
However, I must tell you that this fort is really worth the visit. It's absolutely majestic. The structure is elegant and surprises you.
Expect very little from the management and your visit will be more containing...

The place is good but Right from the beginning we paid 4 to 5 types of charges. Like, entry charges, parking charges, boat ticket, fort ticket, guide ticket and etc. You can bargain for Guide charges. Most important thing after dropping to the fort by boat you'll get 45 min. Only to take tour of the fort. .
Aakash Lakhamapure — Google review
Best fort situated just 50-60 km away from alibag. There is a boat available for going to the fort, you have to pay 100 RS per person for that boat and 25 rs for fort ticket. The boat rise is just of 10 min.

My second visit here and this place has it all to drag you to visit again. The fort is immaculate and has a rich history to it! This fort is one of the only two unconquered forts. It is situated in between the sea and one had to take the boat to visit here. Boat charges 80 Rs per head and for charges 25 rupees per head. It takes time to reach and then 45mins to explore the fort. Easily takes around 3hrs for the entire trip, so budget your time accordingly. Water and food isnt available in the fort, so it is advisable to carry water and light snacks. One must ensure to not litter in the fort as it represents our rich cultural heritage.

Wait time for the ferry from Dighi Jetty could be higher on the weekdays. Weekends with more traffic will have more boats available as well.
Historical fort, great views. Very little shade.
Carry water and refreshments if you need anything since nothing is sold at the fort. Keep the place clean, carry your trash back with you, it's cleanliness is our collective responsibility.
Shaniwar Wada, a grand fort built in the 1740s, served as the seat of the Peshwas of Maratha Empire until 1818. Despite being destroyed by fire in 1828, it remains a popular tourist site. The fort was constructed using materials from various regions and later expanded with additional structures. Today, only the stone-built ancient remnants stand, accompanied by a picturesque garden. Visitors are drawn to its rich history and rumored hauntings.
We visited this fort at 9 o’clock and it had no crowd or queue. Entry was 25rs, no card accepted, better carry cash with you. Now about the palace, once you come near to the fort, you travel back in time. Imagine how beautiful this place would be and what all history is associated with it. Hire a tour guide if you can afford and it’s more fun to hear the history rather than reading it. Overall an awesome experience. Highly recommended visit.

Its a nice place to visit alone, or with family/friends.
People who are more interested in history will enjoy this place a lot.
I liked that almost at every place, there is a small board with the information on it about that particular place, but at some places it's broken, they should fix it.
I don't know why but the washrooms were shut, I hope this is not the case every time.
Don't forget to take an umbrella with you as it's an open place and under direct sun, one can get tired very soon. And keep you token (ticket) safe as if you lost it, you have to pay fine of 100/- 😅
Apoorv Pradhan — Google review
Unless you know the story and relate to it, or you have someone to explain there is no point in entering inside.
The vaada is all broken and only ruins remains..
The most grand thing there is the grand gate which is visible from outside also.
Park your vehicle in the parking only .

Shaniwar Wada Fort is a historic gem that left me in awe. The grandeur and rich history of this architectural masterpiece are truly captivating. Well parking here is chaotic. Usually on weekends rush would be there. Keep change while going to book tickets. They usually don’t go with Digital one as well. Place is well maintained at few places. You can see people having picnics and all. Surrounded by temples this place is so goood. The view from top is beautiful.

One of the biggest reason to come to Pune was to visit this historic place. My experience was very good even though I went there in summer as temperature was very hot. I will definitely visit during monsoon to see the charm. The structure is very good and very well maintained but many fountains were closed may be because we went there in noon. For entry, you need to scan the QR where Rs 25 will be charged. You have ample amount of parking.

Good place for a one time visit.
Entry ticket is priced at 25\- for adults and free for kids.
They have a view point in the 1st floor of the fort.
Try to avoid visiting in the afternoon time as its too hot and the place has limited trees.
Parking space is limited too.
There are some good restaurants nearby.

This place has a rich chapter in Maratha Empire history. Most of the structures are destroyed now. But the remains are beautiful. But I feel like this place could have been maintained better. Security guards are very less. The ticket collection system could have been made way better. Management issues are there within the staff whenever there's a big crowd. Ticket prices are as follows, below 15 years Indian nationals don't need tickets. For above 15 years Indian nationals have to pay 25 rupees. Foreign nationals need to pay 300 rupees.

A must visit historical monument, the great seat of Peshwas, in the center of the Pune city. Many people suggested me that there is nothing to see here, but contrary to those suggestions, I found it very interesting. It still gives a glimpse of the life of those who lived here.

A good location to go. If one does not have much time to go, this location, which is in the middle of the city, might be added to the itinerary. A glimpse of the huge Peshawas is provided by the fort. The palace inside was destroyed by fire a long time ago, therefore the interiors don't have much to offer. Although one may navigate, one should exercise caution when doing so with children because there are no safety obstacles. There is plenty of room to expand the inside garden and improve the visitor experience. It is best to visit this location in the early morning or early evening as there are no shelters and it is an open area. The shop shuts at approximately 5.30 p.m.

wonderful experience here, you can learn a lot of new things here which I did not know. This fort was a wonderful sight of the Maratha Empire, which was burnt in 1827. This is whats left of it so don’t expect anything majestic or luxurious. What makes it special is the story behind it.
Otherwise its pretty ordinary.
Also its a good idea to visit when the weather is cool. The entry fee is 25/-.

This fort was a wonderful sight of the Maratha Empire, which was burnt in 1827, due to which much of the heritage here was destroyed. But whatever is left here looks very good and gives a very pleasant experience and tells a lot of new things.High walls, big doors, tunnels, wells, a palace built by carving big stones. I felt wonderful. Parking is the biggest problem here because I had to wait for almost an hour to park my car.

This beach features clean sand with occasional rocky outcroppings that add to its photogenic charm, making it an ideal location for family vacations. Kashid Beach, a coastal haven that I explored just last week, left an indelible imprint on my senses. The pristine stretch of white sand, complemented by the azure waters of the Arabian Sea, creates a breathtaking panorama. Nestled between verdant hills and swaying casuarina groves, Kashid is a visual symphony of nature.
What struck me most about Kashid Beach was its serene and tranquil atmosphere. Unlike some bustling beaches, Kashid offered a peaceful retreat, making it an ideal spot for those seeking solace by the sea. The cleanliness of the surroundings was noteworthy, contributing to the overall appeal of the destination.
The soft waves lapping against the shore invited me to dip my toes into the refreshing water. For adventure enthusiasts, Kashid doesn't disappoint. Water sports activities, including jet skiing and banana boat rides, provided an exhilarating experience against the backdrop of the expansive sea.
Beyond the natural beauty, the local vendors and eateries along the beach added a delightful touch to my visit. Sampling local snacks and coconut water while basking in the sun enhanced the overall beach experience.
In summary, Kashid Beach is a hidden gem on the Konkan coast. Whether you're seeking tranquility, adventure, or a scenic escape, Kashid offers a perfect blend. My recent visit was a serene retreat, and I wholeheartedly recommend this gem to anyone in search of a coastal paradise.

Peaceful. Enough parking space forntwo wheeler. If one to wash their feet before entering the temple, they have got one on the left side of the entrance. Offices are present outside temple for devotees to choose the offerings to the god. Specify footwear stand is also there. Request to use the same. Because people leave their footwear all around. People should also be quite inside the temple unfortunately it was found lodly speaking around.

The temple has Srinivasa as the Main Deity. Brahmotsavam is celebrated grandly as also Panguni Uthiram and important Srivaishnava festivals. There is a sense of satisfaction when one visits this temple which has fulfilled the long term desire of srivaishnavas to have an appropriate temple.

Nice and clean temple. We'll organised. The only issue is the location. Parking will be issue during peak hours. With residential space coming within campus, it's always little cramped.
Rest is well maintained.

This is one of the best South Indian temples in Pune.
I love how it has retained an antique touch to the temple and has not revamped everything by making it modern.
It is similar a temple complex as many gods idols are there. It is spacious.
It is a peaceful place to go, sit and meditate and have peace of mind apart from getting darshan of the God Himself.

Partial to Iyengar community. But the temple was built with money from all community. Archakas are young and arrogant. No consideration for senior citizens. I booked for sahasranamam archana. Paid money. Told me to come in long queue.. Knowing their attitude, I didn't want to go for archana. They insisted that, Along with prasadam, I must go for sahasranamam. If you are Iyengar, you are treated well. Please have darshan and pray. That's fine. .That is enough

Pawna Lake is a man-made reservoir that serves as a popular destination for camping, picnicking, and photography. Located near the ruins of an ancient fortress, the area offers stunning views of hillsides and peaceful sunsets. Visitors can also explore nearby attractions such as wellness centers, museums, and historic architecture at Aga Khan Palace. For those seeking overnight accommodations, there are numerous options available for camping.
Peacefull place for a sunset view with hills in the background. I parked my vehicle in an open space and took a small walk to get closer to the lakeside. Next time I might book a camp for overnight stay. Lot of options available for camping.

> I really had no clue that Pawna would be so nice to have a look at.
> This was my first time visiting Pawna and I am stunned at how clear and blue the water is. 😍
> We saw it while our way to and fro to our campsite and the water looks more like the water in Malvan (I said what I said) 🤭
> We weren't allowed to swim and all in the water, which I understand but there was a floating thing kept on which we could walk and get close to the water.
> I couldn't take much pictures it but this is what I have at the moment.

The views at the lake were serene and spectacular. The hills, water and greenery make it a very scenic destination and a perfect background to get your pictures clicked.
We tried boating here as well. They charged 200 rupees per person but the duration on the boat was just around 45 seconds which was very less.

Enchanting I would say. A lazy location with a spectacular tranquil lake with crystal clear water surrounded by nature's abundant beauty. Very scenic ghat road leading to the lake from lonavala. Ideal place for a short ride or drive from Mumbai or Pune. If you are a camping enthusiast then it's a must visit for an overnight stay, quite a few reasonably priced well maintained camping sites options are available.

I had always heard a lot of good things about Pawna Lake and the main attraction it's famous for is camping. A few of my friends have gone camping during Rainy and Winters as it’s the best time and you to explore the beauty of the Lake. There were several camping sites, but it's best to book it online and make a reservation beforehand to avoid booking issues.
I would plan a trip with my friends for camping and I am sure it will be great.

Pawana Lake is a tranquil escape nestled amidst the scenic beauty of nature. The serene waters surrounded by lush hills create a picturesque setting, offering a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Whether you're looking for a quiet day of relaxation or an adventurous camping experience along the lakeshore, Pawana Lake is a haven for nature enthusiasts. It's an idyllic destination that captivates with its beauty and tranquility, making every moment spent there a memorable one.

My visit to Pawna Lake near Lonavala, Maharashtra, was truly captivating. Surrounded by the majestic Sahyadri mountain ranges, the lake offered a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The picturesque views were nothing short of breathtaking, making it an ideal destination for anyone seeking tranquility. However, it's worth noting that the lake has gained popularity over the years, leading to a noticeable influx of tourists during peak seasons. Despite the crowds, the natural beauty of Pawna Lake remained undeniably mesmerizing, leaving a lasting impression on me as a nature enthusiast.
Roads could have been better
Cafes are much expensive.
Overall My experience at Pawna Lake was nothing short of exceptional, primarily due to its pristine waters that exuded purity. Unlike many other lakes that often show signs of pollution or debris, Pawna stood out with its crystal-clear waters that reflected the surrounding natural beauty flawlessly. This purity not only added to the aesthetic appeal but also emitted a positive vibe and feeling. There's an innate sense of calmness and rejuvenation that one feels when surrounded by such untouched beauty. The absence of dirt or pollutants heightened the overall experience, allowing visitors like me to immerse ourselves fully in the serenity of the surroundings.

Beaches are one of the most popular vacation destinations for people all over the world. They offer a variety of activities such as swimming, sunbathing, surfing, and beach volleyball. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore and the feeling of the sand between your toes can be very relaxing and therapeutic.
The quality of a beach can vary depending on factors such as cleanliness, water quality, and the availability of amenities such as restrooms and showers. Some beaches are more crowded than others, which can affect the overall experience.
Overall, beaches can be a great place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature. Whether you prefer a quiet, secluded beach or a lively, bustling one, there is a beach out there for everyone.

Good to check the tide times if you want to go into the water as in low tide the water is far off from the shore.
There are plenty of activities and water sports for adults and it’s calm enough for kids to play. High tide was at around 11am, we went down to play in the water from 9am. Weather was pleasant and water was quiet warm. Not a clear blue water but with our toddler we loved it.

Alibaug Beach is a wonderful spot that I've visited multiple times. Surprisingly less crowded this time, we stumbled upon a singing contest adding to the enjoyment. The low tide revealed a stunning sunset view, allowing us to explore deep into the sea. We captured memorable moments and appreciated the easy walk into the water. Usually requiring a boat, this time we could stroll in. Overall, a delightful day at Alibaug Beach – I'll certainly be back.
Lohagad Fort, an ancient fort with significant architectural importance, is situated atop a hill and is a popular destination for hiking, exploring and picnicking. Located near Khandala in Pune's surroundings, there are many activities to be enjoyed here such as visiting the Darshan Museum to examine its collection or taking in the spiritual ambiance at Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Sarvajanik Ganpati.
Varsoli Beach is a nature-filled shore that attracts many visitors interested in personal watercraft and boating activities. The area stays clean and maintains its natural beauty, making it an ideal spot for families to enjoy at no cost. Outside of the beach area, there are numerous affordable food stalls available to grab a bite to eat. On the beach itself, exciting water activities like jetskiing and banana rides are available along with kid-friendly car rides.
Full marks to this beach for maintaining the nature as it is and keeping cleanliness in the surrounding. A perfect place to bring your family with no cost at all. Outside the beach area, there are plenty of stalls which can fill your stomach at a reasonable cost. On the beach, there are water activities like jetski, banana ride, etc and cars for kids to ride.

This is one of the best beaches of Alibaug. Clean and commercial activities are next to nil so perfect to chill out with friends and family. Ample space for parking is available.
The beach is awesome & quite shallow so you can’t walk on towards the sea for quite a distance. Importantly there are catarman rides available and I really found people enjoying it. There are also ATV’s which you can try out. Strongly recommend to get wet here and enjoy the small waves and the sea.

Large amusement park with rides, water slides, restaurants & an indoor park with artificial snow.
One of the best amusement parks you can ever have in India.
The visit was totally worth the money and we enjoyed it a lot. We almost enjoyed all the rides multiple times apart from a few .
We bought ticket in advance and you should do it to if possible.
Also during the evening towards the park closure there is some sort of festival 🎎 demonstration which you must see.
I have been to many of the rides in other countries as well but some of the unique rides which are here you will not find anywhere mostly. For example Mr India was one of my all time favourite and there was another in house roller coaster 🎢 if I remember name correctly it was deep space.
Also one must not forget the water park 🏞️. I believe there was a separate ticket for it but we enjoyed the whole day there and it was worth the visit.

Great place to visit with family or friends. Kids and adults both can enjoy. If you book tickets online you save some money according to the ongoing offers. Better to book tickets and parking beforehand. I won't suggest to book food as you will be limited to one restaurant only. But no matter how hard you try you can't finish all the rides in 1 visit. Better to enter as soon as possible to make the most of it.

It's a fun place to be! There are so many activities both under water and snow theme parks that one day seems less to cover all.... Kids youths and someone who loves adventure will surely have a blast!
A little over priced also with food vouchers and other schemes that they offer are time bound. The restaurants were open even after functional hours but coupon code vouchers were not applicable which people like me/us were not aware of .... Bathrooms could be cleaned and kept dry if staffs take care of it... Rest all good :)

Over expensive.
Over crowded.
There's atleast 15-20 minutes wait for every single ride.
Then there's always some school / class picnic and kids and school staff block all the rides. Entire school picnic is divided among all rides so you have waiting everywhere.
School picnic should only be allowed 1 ride at a time.
Waste of money because of the waiting time. Opens late at 10:30 so by that time the sun is above you and heat is unbearable.
Then there's always 2 rides closed for maintenance.
Snow park is good. But the gear they give you smells so BAD. Unclean sweaty shoes of other people. Bring your own please.
Food is too expensive. A glass of Pepsi is 90 rupees. Small Water bottle is 50 rupees. Bring your own bottle and fill cold water.
You'll only do 1-2 rides max because of waiting and heat in afternoon.

My first reaction wow 🤩. Ticket counter is over crowded as i went on summer time, we went there on weekdays so we got a chance to cover all the rides. But there is long queue to attempt each ride.
Food taste was good, Safety precautions by the staff well appreciated👌🏻
I like the 75 inclined ride much🙌🏻

It was a pleasant experience and nicely managed space.
The staff at the pass counter was courteous and provided the required information.
The other staff for the physical rides were very nice and had patience.
We were the last to leave as our car got some issues, while it was way past 9pm (closing time) the security guards were sweet to let us sit in the lobby.
Rides were good and best part about the place was the horses and the dogs.
There were two major drawbacks....
1) All the dogs in the room type cages was bit upsetting. One would get excited so the other dogs too would get very excited.
I don't know why couldn't they just let the dogs have an open big space.
2) most rides were free but the best fun one's were chargeable. I mean the tickets are not cheap but then even the charges for the other rides are also costly.
Hence a 3 star.
Overall, I enjoyed with the group I went with, but didn't leave with the feeling that I should come back.

Good place to visit with family and kids.
Adventure games with cool ambiance. Nice place.
Only 1 concern is about the dogs and horses here are not in good condition also the dogs were exhausted when people are taking them out in such a sunny and hot day.
Admins of the resort please do take some good step to protect animals.
Overall experience is great.

Superb place for a one-day trip with friends colleagues. There's so much of interesting activities one can do here: Cycling, Zorbing, Rapelling, Dog Walking, flying fox, swoop swing and so much more. You will not realize how your day passes by.
There's a table tennis, table hockey and video game area if people want to sit inside and have a good time rather than going out in the heat.
The experience here is one to remember and saviour!

Positives :
Very well maintained garden.
Clean rooms
Polite staff
In room dining : awesome food and service
Bath tub with jacuzzi
Can be considered :
Bit costly as compared to other hotels like Radisson.
Can offer some activities along with stay.
Overall very good service and enjoyed my stay. Entire Della campus is worth viewing as they have very well maintained garden.

The trip was super amazing all the rides is worth trying, specially flying fox, and swoop swing, paint ball, ATV and Buggy rides all were good, small activities such as - Archery, rifle shooting, crossbow shooting, net cricket and many more.. what we didn't like was staff behaviour and attitude very out spoken and rude when you ask their name they will not share they say their name Marshall, we faced this twice once in cricket net the guy was rude and second was at ATV ride the guy was rude they are locals from near by village so they feel they are in huge numbers and do and say anything. Completely managed by these people only so customer service we rank zero.. park and rides 💯% must try.. overall giving 4 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ because for staff behaviour and rudeness manner less people but for experience 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐..

Great combination place if you looking for a luxury relaxation place and also looking to experience some adventure. The place is available for a 1 day and stay option. I personally liked the adventure activities a lot. The place is a bit on the expensive side but it is a luxury resort so the price kind of is justified. It’s a beautiful place if you want to celebrate a special occasion with your loved ones and super family friendly with something for everyone to do from kids to elders.

Della adventure park is a TATA owned property.
This place is situated at 12km distance from lonavla. Easy to reach location through google map.
After visiting lonavla/khandala you can try this place. The ticket price is very high. Book before a day and you get 30% off. Special offer for womens, 50% off on sunday, book before 1 day.
There are two tickets.. Day pass & Jumbo pass.
If you want to enjoy every ride & full adventure then jumbo pass is for you. For others day pass.
With day pass you get 50 excitements. Many rides/activities are actually good like Archery, shooting, cricket, air hockey, snooker, ps4, boxing, bowling, horse riding, dog walk n many more.
This place provides food options which are very very costly. Single person food for Rs. 850. Samosa for 350. Water bottles for 110.
And you cannot bring outside food. Big turnoff.
On weekends you have to wait in que for all rides. Weekdays are better to visit.
All the rides/activitied are unlimited unless someone is not waiting..
Please bring your shoes as its required for many rides and they charge Rs.200 for it on rent. Only parking is free.
It takes whole day to complete all activities so plan accordingly.
Ots a good place to enjoy with friends and family.
There is a chalkboard on first right turn from entrance, dont forget to fill it.
Prakash Meshram — Google review
I visited this adventure park with my office colleagues as one day team outing. We were taken the day pass which costs 1500 per person with 50 activities included in it.
There are more than 20 in door activities included in those 50 so it really disappointed us. Also on weekends the crowd is more and for every activity there is a long waiting queue so it really takes your patience away. As part of this day pass they should give the two or more paid activities so that it will benefit their publicity. In my opinion they have kept so many activities in a small area so the people sits more in the waiting queue.
The food rates are also high but the food quality is not very good with less varieties in one of the restaurant where we had the lunch. The infrastructure they have set up is very attractive. The small children wil love the place.
Overall I would rate the place as 3.8 out of 5 stars.

One of the biggest park with incredible and adventurous rides. Paint Ball was fun (clean clothes were provided) Zipline was good (try the longest route)
Overall, the experience was great but it might be little expensive if you are going individually as you might have to pay for dirt bike and other services (included in Jumbo Pass)

I celebrated my birthday here and you guys it was the best day ever. The hospitality is so amazing and the people are friendly. The number of activities one can do are countless. I wanted the time to go slow because on weekdays, the park closes early. It becomes tough to complete all the activities. It's definitely worth the visit!

Large adventure park with lot of activities. You will be tired doing all the activities. Food is quite expensive. Good for a day trip outing with friends and family. Lot of activities for kids and for all ages. They have longest zip line in India. But only caveat is you have to hike lots of steps to reach to the top of the base.

Nice place. Day out for family. A bit expensive but worth the time spent. Stay options available. Good service. Cooperative staff. Good food. Definitely recommended for family and kids
Amar Phadol — Google review
Visiting here with your adventurous friends is definitely a good idea till you're getting a good discount on their jumbo pass so you can actually enjoy all the thrilling activities.
Day pass will just allow you to do the light activities and if you want to do any other activities they'll be paid as a day pass holder which is definitely not worth.
Note- wait time for all the activities takes from 5 min to 2 hours as mentioned on their invoice when you'll receive and about which you cannot do anything at all so I recommend to plan the day properly to do all the activities you need to do.
Also food and beverages are pricy and complementary water bottles are only given in the summer so don't keep any expectations of that in any other season.

The place is amazing and fun packed for adventure loving beginners. Everything was safe, well organised and properly managed as far I interacted with.
Do go to this place on Weekdays and not on weekends, as it will packed with lot of people and large queue on every ride. Also I would recommend going with 2000Rs ticket as that has enough rides one would need to enjoy the day and you won’t be able to cover everything in the same day. So think wisely :)

To have thrill and adventure this is recommended place. They have 50 plus activities including, zip line 10 seconds and 35 seconds, rope activities, in door video games, archery, gun shooting, pottery, carrom, chess, dart board, ATV/ mud bike, trampoline bungy jumping for kids, rocket shooting and bungy jumping of 850 m for adults, rappling, cow milking, pony ride, horse ride, electric bicycle, bicycle, dog ride, rope cycling, paint ball, etc etc
There are different categories of passes you can choose one depending on your choice of activities, but basic is day pass which cover many activities and over and above if you want to so some activity you can pay and do it.
Its fun for kids and adults as well.

Do Not Buy tickets or stay here during events, its a complete disaster, very mismanaged, wrong rooms allocation, no chaira to sit on a new year 4 hour event, the rooms have started stinking of STP gas and are very old now. New garden villas are just large spacious concretes with no bathtub or jacuzzi. Food is super expensive, they charged for juices during the new year event which costed almost 10k for couple.

Saw the largest and nicest historical museum!
Loved the trip; well worth the 150 rupees to enter.
Keep in mind that there are additional fees for cameras and that you must store your baggage.
On the other hand, taking pictures with your phone is part of the admission price.
Regarding the museum itself, it provided a great deal of diversity, all of which were nicely arranged within the many halls.
Historical displays, artwork, textile art, animal life, and recreations of both ancient and new environments were all present.
The general management and upkeep of the place is excellent, with impressive domes, well-kept restrooms, and quality souvenirs.
The visit was made much more enjoyable by the staff members' extraordinary knowledge and willingness to share their perspectives.
The audio guides—which come in a variety of languages—further improved the experience by giving the exhibits more perspective.
I've heard that this structure was granted the UNESCO Award of Excellence in 2022and is recognized as a Grade I Heritage Building.
As one among Mumbai's numerous Victorian heritage structures, it is also a UNESCO World Heritage site.

What an amazing place for anyone who enjoys a day at a museum. It's very huge and there many many museums as a part of it. There's Natural Selection museum showcasing specimens of birds, wildlife and aquatic life, there's also a coins museum dating to coins collection from the Mauryan period, etc. There's a textile museum where you can do an activity of block printing on cloth. There's also a gallery which showcases work curated by artists. There's a jewellery museum as well. The entire building architecture is anything but unimpressive. If you're a college student, carry your ID card or fee receipt to get the ticket for half the actual amount. The ticket fare for foreigners is too much, 650 rs., hopefully they will lessen it a little to make it more accessible.

A great spot to explore, you get to see different kinds of artifacts placed aesthetically. The very beautiful and vintage design of the overall building makes it a great place to take some nice pictures.
It has different exhibitions at different dates, and you must visit a coin and jewellery section of the museum. The whole vibe of the museum is very nice and you can spend your 2-2:30 hrs peacefully.
Tickets prices are reasonable and if you are a school and college student then don't forget to carry your ID so you can get a concession on your entry ticket.
(They only accept Physical ID not photo of school/college id)

I generally like visiting museums, especially Government museums, and this one was no exception.
At ₹ 150 per head (including mobile photography) it's really worth it.
There are three floors of exhibits, and one of the exhibits is an Egyptian Mummy. Though the specifics about the mummy are not mentioned, there are general descriptions about Egyptian burial practices and other important facts about life in that period.
The other floors too have thoughtful arrangements of the exhibits, with individual or collective commentary attached.
Spent a very pleasant two hours there.
Generally worth a visit when in the neighbourhood, if only for the large collection of items and the very imaginative display.

This museum is a paradise for any history buff. The management is superb, with everything so neat and clean. The well-maintained lawns add greenery to this aesthetic establishment.
The museum mainly contains artefacts from India, Persia, Greece, and Egypt. It contains a host of idols and even poetry (on rocks).
As a parting thought, people who don't study but indulge in politics should visit this museum to see the astonishing similarities between Buddha and Shiva's idols. Perhaps, that would let them realise that akin to our Gods, we are one people. 🙏🏼

This place has some... ahem... interesting... exhibits. Not going to post those pictures but have fun exploring the museum haha.
Well curated. Great collection of historical artifacts and art. The history and meaning behind the items is well described on plaques and posters. I thought the place was clean. Only a select few of the rooms were air conditioned. The natural history section with India fauna was fascinating. There is so much biodiversity unique to India!
Well done.

A must visit for everyone, local and otherwise, to this beautiful gallery containing historical treasures. I have been told that the museum has been renovated recently and is excellently maintained by the staff. The opulence of the place still remains intact and the exhibit is excellent. A lot of information and displays to be seen and learn. The museum can be a terrific expedition for children and adults who enjoy historical scenes.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya or Mumbai Museum is located in Colaba. Next to the museum is the Jehangir Art Gallery. It's not a very big museum and a large portion of the museum is donated by the TATA family. One can easily see the museum in around 3 hours.
The museum is divided in multiple sections.
The audio guide is pretty useless as it covers only a handful of artefacts. Must visit if you're in Mumbai.

Charlotte Lake is a serene body of water situated in Matheran. This tranquil reservoir offers visitors the chance to explore wooded nature trails and enjoy picnic spots, as well as marvel at its small dam with beautiful waterfalls. Despite lacking proper restrooms for women, Charlotte Lake remains a peaceful place to visit, with crystal clear water and scenic views that are best enjoyed during monsoon and winter seasons.
Charlotte lake in Matheran looks stunning during monsoon. Enjoy being very close to nature and away from hustle bustle of the city. Carry raincoats must as you won't be able to hold umbrella due to speedy wind and your umbrella will get damaged.

Charlotte Lake is a beautiful lake in matheran. Water of Lake flows very slowly. Breeze creates ripples on water which is very soothing to eyes. On one side of the lake you can sit near the lake & dip your legs in the ice cold water of the lake. The lake is far from the market area so it takes 30 minutes to reach there. On the way to Charlotte lake, you will see a bungalow with a lot of black & white idols inside it & a lot of vintage looking furniture spread inside the compound of the bungalow.

Louisa Point in Matheran is a popular destination for hikers and photographers who seek panoramic views of ancient forts and scenic vistas. The spot offers two viewpoints - one showcasing the sky-touching mountain beauty, while the other presents breathtaking views of the civilians in the valley. Visitors can use binoculars to witness gorgeous landscapes including Gourelloa mountain, lakes, and waterfalls visible in all directions.
Probably the most beautiful point of matheran... sunset view was amazing... this point is located at an hour walk from the main town, so plan your tour accordingly !!

After trekking from sunrise point to Louisa point, Here you can rest, Louisa Point is one of the most famous viewpoints in Matheran. It offers two different views from the top - one view is of the sky touching the mountain and a panoramic view of the valley below. The other view is of the picturesque Charlotte Lake looking like a diamond necklace
Sanjeev Kasmole — Google review
Louisa Point is almost 1.5 km away from the marketplace and will take around 20 minutes to reach here on foot. If it's a clear sunny day, this place will offer you breathtaking views that will compel you to settle down here for a moment.
This is a unique point in Matheran as it offers two different picturesque views. From one point, you can see the sky touching the mountains and a civilisation located far in a valley. If you visit during monsoon, you'll also be captivated by waterfalls.
Another view is of Lake Charlotte that looks like a diamond necklace when seen from here. Louisa Point also offers a clear view of Prabal Fort. All these different views are intriguing and one can spend hours gazing at them. We sat there, soaked in the beauty of the place and relishing moments of silence.
This place is known as a photographer's paradise in Matheran because it offers panoramic views of mountains, peaks, valleys, lake and waterfalls. In most of the travel portals, blogs and magazines, Matheran has been represented by using Louisa Point's pictures.
During the peak season, photo points are a little crowded and sometimes you need to be patient for your view to be ‘people free’, but all your waiting time is worth those beautiful, dreamy and wallpaper pictures. Some people also stay at Louisa Point to watch the sunset.

Louisa Point, Matheran – Nature's Balcony
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Louisa Point in Matheran, and it's an enchanting spot that I would rate at four stars. Here's why:
1. Stunning Panoramas:The view from Louisa Point is nothing short of stunning. You can see vast stretches of lush green forests, deep valleys, and the Sahyadri mountain range. The panoramas are captivating, especially during sunrise and sunset.
2. Nature's Beauty:If you're a nature enthusiast, you'll appreciate the biodiversity here. The place is surrounded by dense forests, and you might spot various bird species and other wildlife.
3. Hiking Opportunities:Louisa Point is a great starting point for several hiking trails in Matheran. Whether you're an experienced trekker or a casual walker, you can find a trail that suits your level.
However, I'm withholding that fifth star due to the lack of proper amenities and signage. It can be a bit challenging to find your way around, and there aren't many facilities nearby.
In conclusion, Louisa Point is a nature lover's paradise. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with incredible views, this spot in Matheran should be on your list. Just be prepared for a bit of adventure in finding your way around.

The bestest point offering a panaromic view of the hill station and the neighbouring points. When you enter matheran first cover this point along with Malang pt as later you might not want to walk so much and and then you can walk down to the lake. Elephanta Caves is a 7th-century cave temple located on an island near Mumbai. The city offers a plethora of tourist attractions, including Haji Ali Dargah, Girgaoum Chowpatty, and Siddhivinayak Temple. Visitors can find budget-friendly accommodations in the area.
It is a very nice place to spend your time with family. The sheer understanding of how the caves were carved out of a single piece of rocks baffles me. Also the boat ride to the caves was a sheer pleasure. You should try to go and n the after noon so that your return is planned in the evening. To view the sunset while on the roof of the boat in the evening is a scene to remember. It serene.

Am hot long boat ride on the way to the caves seemed very slow.
Caves are good. Get a local guide along. He agreed for 1500. Have good information about caves. It's about information and thus you get to observe tiny things and enjoy the place.
There is a government restaurant near the main gate of caves campus. It's there, after you climb all the stairs. It serves good food. Also alcohol is served.
There is a toy train from jetty to market. Its not even 10 min walk distance, but take the toy train, especially if you have small kids or elderly along.

Great temple to visit if you enjoy historical places. The statues are damaged by invaders in the past. Still it gives you the imagination of how beautiful it would have been in its prime. Beautiful cave temple carved out of the mountain. There are restaurants serving veg and non veg food. You need to climb about 💯+ steps before you reach the caves. Old people will find it tough. Shops selling brass and stone articles are also there. The toy train costs Rs18 from the port to the base of the steps to the temple. About 1 km. You will need to take a ferry from Gateway of India... cost about Rs 260. The ferry ride is the best part of a journey. It takes one hour of Ferry ride to the caves. You can see big ships and vessels anchoring in the sea lovely ride. It's about a 3 to 4 hour trip . Better to start from Gateway of India in the morning at 8 or 9 am .

Beautiful journey to reach the caves. You reach Gateway of India, then catch the ferry. It would take 1 hr, would see seagulls, mesmerising view of Mumbai coastline, huge ships, boats, sea, islands. Just beautiful. Then taking toy train, then walking uphill. You may first want to eat after reaching the height, so remove travel exhaustion and relax, before you explore the caves. The first one is the only detailed one, others are simple caves, nothing much to say. It's more for the journey and scenic beauty.

Not worth the time we spend to see this place. It almost takes 3 hours (to and fro including steps ascent and descent) . The boat ride is painfully slow. No safety jackets are given. The stairs are slightly inclined upwards. Elders might find it difficult to climb.Once you climb stairs there is hardly anything to see. Literally I was done seeing all the caves in 30 minutes.
The pathway to stairs is covered completely by the local vendors and as an effect of hot humid climate it becomes unbearable to climb stairs.
The condition of carvings are in a ruined state. Monkey menace is normal as in any other tourist place. If you have small kids with you then it's better to skip this place and plan something else in Mumbai

You have to take a ferry ride from Gateway of India to elephanta caves. It costs around 260 per person for a two-way journey, and the tickets are sold near the ferry stations.
Once you reach the destination you will have the option of taking a mini-train (18rs /head) which takes you 500-600meters closer to the caves, or you can choose to walk the distance. Then there is a 20rs fees collected by the local authorities in addition to the 40rs collected once you actually reach the caves.
You have to then climb stairs for another 400+- meters to reach the main entrance.(paid carriages are available for elders).Paid toilets are available once you reach the entrance (10Rs) which are cleanly maintained. Food, snacks and refreshment options are available throughout the way to the Cave, Its better to carry cash for expenses since mobile payments mostly don't work due to bad signal.
The cave itself will take less than an hour to go around. Lot of sculptures are damaged and not much has been done to preserve the existing ones, you can see names been carved out of some statues.
So much craftsmanship in those sculptures, definitely worth a visit.
Weekends and holidays are way too crowded. Try to go on a weekday, early hours to enjoy the place peacefully. I think ferries are available from 8 - 8-30am.

they have a small number of tickets, they should make it into one ticket from start to end and maybe have a higher prices charge ticket for food and cold water.
Nestled within the lush forests of Sanjay Gandhi National Park in Borivali East, Mumbai, Kanheri Caves is a remarkable site featuring ancient temples and Buddhist shrines. Carved into a massive basalt outcrop, this group of 109 caves showcases intricate sculptures, relief carvings, paintings, and inscriptions dating back to as early as the 1st century BCE.
Well maintained and clean the kanheri caves are a great place to visit. The carvings are amazing especially considering their age. Quite a hike to visit all the caves but worth it. The map could be a little more detailed though, it's a bit of an exploration.

It’s a beautiful place. An ancient place for a Buddhist monk temple. More than 100 small caves are there.
One important thing you have to remember when you want to visit this place that is lots of monkeys. They are attached if you have any shopping bags or even water bottles.

Lovely caves. It will take you to old medieval times. The cave 3 is really great. Moreover the caves are really well maintained by ASI. Its a must visit if you are in Mumbai. But beware of the monkeys.

Sanjay Gandhi National Park is good. Better go during monsoon. Safari is just ok only through bus. Caves are good, almost 100 caves. View from top is just awesome.filled with history and serenity. Exploring the intricate carvings and Buddhist relics was a unique experience. If you're a history enthusiast or seeking tranquility amidst the bustling city, this place is a must-visit

Had being on a Sunday morning. The park opens for general public at 8.00am prior to that only the morning joggers who have the membership are allowed.Due to covid, boating, safari as well as toy train was closed. There are Best buses plying to the kanheri caves as well as couple of Omni vans. One can take rented bicycles outside the park as well as inside as private vehicles are not allowed and the parking charges are ₹200/-(not at all recommended to hike the entire stretch as it will tire you unless and until you are a professional)there is an entry fee for the caves.as well as charges for photography. Toilet is clean however the sole cafeteria at the caves should be totally avoided as we had misal pav which was bland and not at all tasty. The entire caves area is well maintained and there are security personnel who are quite helpful and are stationed at every caves entrance. One can easily access each and every cave and the view from the top is scenric.Vist the place in the early half.Highly recommended and PLEASE DON'T LITTER and write on the walls.

Beautiful caves far from the noise of the city, you cannot miss this if you visit the national park, especially in monsoon. You get a panoramic view of the city from the top. There's a BEST bus service for pick and drop from the entrance of the park.

Best place to visit in Mumbai if you are interested in Buddhism and like to have a little trekking. From the gate to the cave entrance bus service is available for a very little price. If you want to really know about the place I suggest you take a guide. Have a little trek, meditate, feed the monkeys and enjoy nature in the middle of the busiest city of India.

Good historical place, natural beauty is awesome 👌
But crowded in weekends.
Waiting time for bus is at least 1 hr in each direction. No private vehicle allowed inside national park.

In the heart of the busiest city of the country Mumbai. This is a protected land for the Tribals who dwell here for centuries.
You will find people trekking and school/college goers cycling in the premises.
There are four ways you can the reach the caves from the main gate: cycling, trekking/walking, bus service and reserved shuttle car for tourists.
The visit is worth it, with century old caves and scriptures with picturesque view will make your day!

Great place to visit in heart of Mumbai. It's best to visit during rainy season, it's green all around.
Some areas may get slippery so wear good footwear and walk carefully. There are total 109 caves here, all are not accessible. Area is kept clean.

The historic caves are carved in black stones. The place is inside the National park. There is a bus facility from the National park entrance to here. The best time to visit will be August end and September. The summer will be very hectic to visit this place. The place is historical and a must visit place.

A group of caves built by Buddhists in between 1CE to 10CE. There are as many as 129 Caves (as per Wikipedia) but I saw numbering till 101 Caves.
Really beautiful and makes you ponder upon the lifestyle, needs and the ancient society that used to live here. There are many inscriptions here, mainly besides the City Hall which has a Stupa and along few other caves. Few caves may seem very small but there are metal grills which restrict access to water harvesting holes that are very deep.
The local guards / guides here say the City Hall (as per Wikipedia) is actually a Buddhist classroom where they learnt important aspects of life and gained skills.
The group of caves are spread wide apart and take at least 2 hrs in a hurry if you want to see all of them. Make sure you're good at cardio as there is a lot of climbing necessary. A few spots are littered with plates and plastic bottles and I request all to keep this ancient place as clean as possible.
Above all the caves, is a plateau which has a view point and the only place here where the phone has reception.
Make sure to carry water, you will get thirsty.

One of the best places to spend a day away from the city crowd and enjoy the archeological marvel created ages ago and which stood the test of time. A good view of the city and the distant sight of the Buddhist Pagoda can be seen from the top most point.

Nice place to explore buddh sculptures. Avoid on sunny hot days and during afternoon as it will be difficult to explore while sun shining out high. Monsoon wearing is best or some shady day
Carry a lot water and stamina to explore heights and a lot of stairs

These are caves from ancient times. Total 100+ caves. The arrangement and pathways are paved properly however do watch your steps. Overall good experience. Too crowded during monsoon and beware of monkeys. Weekends might be crowded. Early morning visit is best though I visited post 3 pm. Bus service is available inside national park which is easy mode of transport.

One of the famous Buddha caves in Borivali, Thane Maharashtra.
It was a great experience there.
We went by taxi to reach there. We have to purchase the tickets to enter the place. We will have to rent a cycle to reach the Buddha caves because it's too far from the entrance.
It's a great effort for a person to reach the caves, because of the roads with slops, bed roads etc. you will definitely get tired.
Reaching there is a great experience, how they have built caves in the earlier days in these stones, and the places they spent for meditation, the water sources etc

Carved into black stones, the historic caves reside within the National Park, accessible via a bus from the park entrance.
The optimal time to explore is late August through September, as summers can be quite demanding for a visit.
This historical site is a must-visit destination.

Kanheri Caves are a must visit for anyone in Mumbai. There are over a 100 caves and some of them are beautiful and well maintained. The security is very helpful and well informed. Do Not eat food in/ around the caves as it attracts hordes of monkeys. There are stalls outside that sell fresh lime water and fruits.

Metro Junction Mall is the only shopping mall in Kalyan when I visited there. It's on main road itself not difficult to find out. Ample amount of parking space is there for vehicles.I went there in car. Car parking charge was Rs. 50. Two wheeler parking is also available.
Mall is big, but not that posh mall. Cloth Brands like Marks and Spencer, Max, Zudio, Westside, Pantaloon, Lifestyle etc have shops there. Food court is also there where so many small eateries are open. Restaurants like Barbeque Nation, Mac Donald's etc are also open.
Beauty salon like 'Look well' is available in ground floor. Kids can have some fun rides and entertainment in the ground floor.
Movie theater is there in second floor.

I have visited the Kalyan Metro Mall many times since childhood and had a fantastic experience there, which compelled me to write this review. The mall is 2.5 km distance from Kalyan station and you can go there by bus or auto maximum of 20 to 30 Rs they will charge as a fare. The mall is a true gem in the heart of Kalyan, offering a delightful shopping and entertainment experience. First and foremost, the mall's architecture and design are impressive. The modern and spacious layout is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Navigating through the mall is a breeze, thanks to clear signage and a well-planned layout. The shopping options are diverse and cater to a wide range of tastes and budgets. Kalyan Metro Mall has everything from high-end fashion boutiques to affordable retail stores. It's a one-stop destination for clothing, electronics, home decor, and more. What sets this mall apart is its food court and dining options. The food court boasts a variety of cuisines, ensuring there's something for everyone but food cost is quite expensive. The cleanliness and quality of food are commendable. Entertainment options include a multiplex cinema showcasing the latest movies in comfortable seating. It's a perfect way to unwind after a shopping spree. On the weekend only you can enjoy it there else on weekdays you will get bored. Also for kids, this place is cool as there is a play section for them.

Metro Junction, the first shopping mall in Kalyan, was named the largest mall in Asia at that time.It has all the entertainment facilities you or your family needs.Like here is Inox Multiplex. Along with this, there are outlets of various big brands for shopping. Also here are video games toy cars and other games to entertain the kids and adults Also, if you get tired and hungry after playing around, there are McDonald's Domino's Pizza Hut and full outlets of many popular restaurant chains where you can sit down and enjoy them all.The only place for family where you can definitely spend four-five hours is the parking facility here for small cars ie 30 rupees parking fee for bikes and 50 rupees for cars.

Well a perfect place to visit with anyone you want. I usually go with my friends to watch movie, eat and chill or play games. Game can be better and they can actually add few more interesting games for good gamers (like me 😝) coz most of the games are just waste. The bike on sucks, the car one too. Literally any game that you think will be interesting is trash and does not work properly. But yeah, if you live around kalyan, this is the best place where you can, eat, chill and enjoy. ✌

This place was dirty inside and did not contain the washrooms on each floor. Due to the open entrance this place feels so warm. For shopping and eating there are lots of options. For kids there is a kids playing area also. Overall all is good. The area is also specious compared to the location. Outside the mall the auto stand is also there. I especially like the Haldirams chat shop. I visited this shop for the first time and ordered food . The taste was awesome. On weekends there is some rush. This also contains parking inside the mall and it is very specious also. I visited for the first time and the experience was good.

Sanjay Gandhi National Park, formerly known as Borivali National Park, is a sprawling forested park located in Mumbai. It is one of the largest and most popular nature reserves in India. The park is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including tigers and leopards. Visitors can explore the ancient Kanheri Caves within the park, which are Buddhist cave temples dating back to the first century BC.
Great place for the family together on the weekend. If kids are there, they will love to explore the animals and the caves. Lot of space to spend time. Avoid the hot afternoon as it is getting too hot these days. But no one from the administration is interested in the guests, visitors or at least I found nobody to guide us. Then there's this private van guys, who come to us. They asked for the rides to caves and Jain temples. They charged hefty amount. The staff is aware of all these intrusion maybe they'll get the share too.
Public is really patient and great. They will one day revolt against such management.
I am rating it 5 because I still hope if the staff supports the visiting public with a little more resources then kids from the city can learn a lot. It's a treasure of historical importance and full of greenery for the future.

I visited this place last week. It was an amazing experience. Ample parking space is available. Rent a bicycle and roam the entire park. When I visited the boat riding was closed and the lion safari was closed due to some maintenance work.
While returning do visit their souvenir shop, they have amazing hand made crafts available at very reasonable prices.

It was not fun at all. We had to stand in a long line to buy an entrance ticket that cost us ₹94. Then, we had to stand in another line to catch a bus, which cost us around ₹13, as private taxis were too expensive at ₹70 per person. After reaching there, everything was expensive, whether to buy or eat. Moreover, there was no proper water supply, and we had to buy a ₹25 ticket to see the Caneri cave. The guards were not allowing us to explore everything properly; they kept saying, 'Don't go there,' even though we were following all the guidelines. On our way back, we faced the same issue, having to stand in line for an hour to catch a bus. There was no network, and it was quite frustrating. If you plan to visit, please carry cash with you. Also, there were no animals, only monkeys. It's not worth the money and time.

Place is okay. You can go up to Entry gate with you AC cars, then after that you have to take either the Best Buses or Local taxis to move further.
- There's boating place is ok.
- Tiger & Lion safari is available. But with the cost it seems cost is more compare to as you expect from it.
- Lots of Monkeys you will find there, you need to be cautious while eating food as monkeys can disturb you.
- Caves are nice if you have stamina to walk.
- Not recommended for senior citizens

The national park is also called the lungs of the city and is the only national park in the world known to be present within a city’s premises. Far from the bustle of the city, the environment inside the national park is completely peaceful and offers serenity.
Spread across a total area of 103 square kilometres, the governing body of the national park is the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and the footfall of visitors each year rounds up to a little over 2 million. The entire area of the national park forms approximately 20% of Mumbai’s geographical area.

If enjoying nature is your forte then this is the place for you. You will get to see a lot of greenery and will be able to click a lot of pics too if you're a pics person. The entry fee for an adult person is 85 rupees. If you are bringing a bicycle from rentals/home you need to pay separate charges of rs.33.
The entry fee for caves is rs. 25 per person If you want to enjoy it i would suggest visiting it with your group of friends. The best season to enjoy would be monsoon (or winter if you don't like rain). The small train is broken nowadays so it is out of options the way to bamboo trails/huts is also closed(maybe because of rain). You can take bicycles on rent from inside for rs. 80 for 2 hours. I would suggest renting the bicycles from inside only cause the bicycle rentals on the outside will just loot you (you can prefer them if you want bicycles with gear or if you have any other preferred type). Or you can take buses to visit different locations. It'll take 1 day to just visit Kanheri caves on a bicycle and return (if you want to enjoy it completely).
Bring your own food because you won't get variety to eat inside. There's a canteen inside near the caves but it provides only breakfast items and hygiene is not good.

Sooooo much to do once you are inside! There's a tiger safari, there' the beautiful lake, huge garden and picnic spot, there's the amazing walk from the gate to the Kanheri Caves and then there are the Kanheri Caves themselves. The Caves are a treat to the eyes. How could such magnificent structures be carved out of rock 2500 years ago! Simply marvelous. There's hardly anything like Sanjay Gandhi National Park right in the midst of India's busiest metro. Highly recommended for a family outing and for picnic with friends. Especially monsoon....this jungle comes to life in monsoon. There's a river and several small rivulets that flow here. Of course, we need more washrooms and water stations in the park now. And better restaurants. The authorities must take notice.

EsselWorld is a beloved amusement park in Mumbai, offering an array of thrilling rides and roller coasters for adrenaline junkies, as well as kid-friendly attractions and play areas for families. It has been a go-to destination for both locals and tourists, boasting the title of being the oldest and most popular amusement park in the city. The park constantly updates its offerings with new rides and attractions to keep visitors entertained.
The old jingle still is in my memory - "Essel world me rahunga main, ghar nahi jaaunga main.." I visited there in 2014 and relished my childhood memories of TV ad of perhaps the first amusement park of India. This is still a center of attraction, though there are many other avenues which are considered better and 'modern', but Essel world has its own set of fans, which make this a beautiful place. With family, its a good place. Must go by ferry through seaway, which makes the trip more enjoyable. It takes nearly one full day to explore full of the venue. They also have an exclusive water park in the same vicinity. You can surely enjoy a full day with your entire family.
