Unique place in India. Good collection of dolls from across the world.
Opens at 10 am, 25/- entry, need 1 hours 30 minutes to 2 hours of quality time required.

In 1st apprence it does not look like a museum this is like a doll showroom, the good part is dall collection is from all over the world, good cleanliness no rush and nice presentation of dolls.
The negative part is difficult to find the place, it is in market place, no space for parking, dolls are not exclusive, same kind of doll will be available in market. For Disneyland dolls all are soft toys looking chief, One Brazilian doll we found, the same doll my daughter playing at home.
So this may not be an exclusive place, may visit one time for free time, your child will enjoy,
Entry fees Rs 30, and mobile camera charges also Rs 30.
Ankur Laha — Google review

The magnificent stepwell at Adalaj is a beautiful example of the Solanki style of architecture and features intricate carvings portraying erotic scenes and traditional Gujarati folklore. The well is five stories deep and rests on 16 pillars, with corners marked by shrines. Visitors can enjoy a guided tour of the well or simply wander around its tranquil interior.
Great place to see heritage of architecture in Gujarat. Detailings are so amazing. Must visit site. It's deep into the ground, when you entering into the ground, you will start slowly unveiling the layers below the ground and it leads towards the main water body. Spectacular..!

The Adalaj Vav.
In Gujrati and Marwar regions a vav means a stepwell. In the northern Hindi-speaking regions, a stepwell is called a bowadi.
In the arid regions of Gujrat, Rajasthan and Marwar where the water table is low, wells have to be dug to a considerable depth. Hauling water by buckets tied to a rope was back-breaking labour for the ladies and gents alike. Therefore many communities collectively constructed vavs or step wells where one could descend right up to the water level for bathing, washing and filling up drinking water to be carried to their homes. In many cases, wealthy families with a philanthropic bend of mind constructed vavs for the public good. They were built in stone with pillars and walls etc carved with amazingly beautiful designs, motifs and statues of Gods and Goddesses. More often than not such vavs were made up of various stories with large floor spaces, rooms etc at every storey. Such vavs became a focal point for community gatherings, celebrations and religious functions. These vavs were architectural wonders and in due course became well known for their beauty.
Adalaj vav is one such vav and so generally referred to because it is located in the village of Adalaj. The real name of the vav, as per the inscription found engraved on a stone in the vav is ‘Rani Dudabai’ Vav. As per history/legend, Raja Veer Singh of the Vaghela dynasty started its construction in 1555. His kingdom was attacked by Mohammed Begda a Muslim ruler of the neighbouring state. In the battle, Raja Veer Singh was killed. The vav could not be completed. It is said that Queen Ruda bai, wife of Raja Veer Singh was very beautiful. Mohammed Begda fell in love with the queen and wanted to marry her. As per the legend, the queen agreed on the condition that Mohammed Begda completes the construction of Vav. He readily agreed and completed the construction in a quick time. It is said that Once the unfinished project of her husband was completed, rather than marry the Muslim ruler the queen reneged on her promise and committed suicide by jumping into the well.
Queen Ruda Bai Vav is a five-storey octagonal construction with the well itself is circular in shape. The beginning of the stairs is flanked by two “Chabutaras” or raised platforms. The faces of these chabutaras are made up of intricately and beautiful geometrical engravings of trees and plants etc.
Octagonal sides of each floor had engraved latticed stone screens as safety railings. Hundreds of pillars, niches on the floors etc all are beautifully engraved and look very beautiful.
One can spend hours admiring the beauty of the engravings/carvings and still come away wondering whether he has seen all that was to be seen.
We took lots of pictures, spent maybe an hour and a half and bid good buy to Adalaj/Queen Ruda Bai Vav.

Wonderful place!
The place used to be marvelous, but it has been spoiled by the public to the extent that you can detect the strong odor of ammonia from afar. It is essential for the authorities to implement stringent regulations in order to safeguard the ancient architecture.

This is such a unique historical place to visit. This stepwell is in great condition, renovated and well maintained. If you come by car, then parking is available. The entrance fee is just nominal price. From the road this stepwell is not visible but when you actually approach it you understand the grand level of this 500+ years old five storied deep historical place. Behind the construction of this stepwell is a really sad story that you should read before visiting.

Lothal, Archaeological Remains Of A Harappa Port-Town
Lothal is an archaeological site of the Indus Valley civilization dating back to 3700 BCE. Excavated between 1955-1960, it is a historic port-town with ruins that can be visited separately from the nearby museum. The site includes an ancient ship dock and acropolis, and takes only about an hour to see. Although guides are scarce due to low visitation rates, it is a peaceful place with easy walking paths.
Very calm n peaceful place, must visit once, make sure to visit before 12 noon and after 4 in evening as it will be too hot temperature and not enough shades available... 'A Tranquil Gem with Historical Significance'
I visited this historic site during Diwali holidays and was pleasantly surprised by the lack of crowds. Most visitors seemed unaware of its true historical significance – it's the world's oldest intact dockyard and port. However, the museum is currently undergoing demolition to make way for a new maritime heritage complex set to open by the end of 2024.
Beyond the remnants of the ancient town and dockyard, the highlight was the incredible bird life in the prime grassland surroundings. Birds of prey and various avian species frequent nearby village ponds, offering a peaceful retreat for nature enthusiasts.
The facilities, including clean restrooms and available water, enhance the overall experience. Just remember to bring your own food, as there are no eating options in the vicinity. If you appreciate history and enjoy tranquility, this place is a must-visit. Check out a few photos from my recent trip.

This site is separate from the museum and its open from morning to evening every day and it's timings are not related to the museum next door.
The site is not very big and it'll take an hour or so to cover all the points. The biggest attraction is the ancient ship dock and the acropolis. It's a peaceful place and it's not very difficult to walk. It's almost impossible to get a guide because it is not visited by lot of people. The museum is closed because of the upcoming National Maritime Museum project and no one knows when it will open. Make sure to carry enough water and food because there are no shops around. There's enough parking space and there are good toilets as well.

An ancient place. Well kept place. But hard to understand and imagine the culture and city of those(old) days. Govt should keep proper hoarding or a guide to describe each place. Road joining high way to Lothal is single and not maintained properly. There is a museum but it is shut for visitors for one and a half year(guard told us). It remains open from 8 am to 5 pm except Friday for visitors. Morning time is best to visit.

Marvelous heritage remains seems so realistic that we can relate it to modern construction even after 5000 years. What a feeling it was! Amazed by seeing such a neat and precise construction of walls, rooms. It feels like nothing has changed even in this age, we are still following the same methods they used to build.
vraj makwana — Google review
Do not visit it if you are not an archeologist by yourself.
The site is still under development and too difficult to find. The museum is closed until the development work finishes, which seems to take too long. All you are left with is the relics of the Hadappa sanskriti, which are dying slowly. There are no sign boards with details to explain what is what. All you see is some structures with bricks.
The government doesn't seem to really care for the relics as the site seems quite abandoned. Anyone can go and destroy or steal things easily.
Parking is closed forever and having some weeds with a closed door.
The site is at distant location. It's too tough to reach here because of bad roads, no clear sign boards and abandoned area. You will have nobody to ask. Even if you come across anyone they will hardly know the way. Google is correct but the road's condition will get your joints displaced.
Even after reading this you want to go there best of luck.

Place is very nice for your curiosity and child education regarding Harappan civilization.
Very poorly maintained.
Museum is closed for maintenance since 2 yrs.
No sign boards to reach there. Poor roads.
Not clean toilets.
No guide service even if you r ready to pay. And you will not understand anything without guide or Google search. There is no description boards at site.
Seems government is not interested on site though spending a lot in advertising rather.
Nobody is present there to care this valuable property.
Very poor governance 😔

Knowing Indus Valley (Harrapan) Civilisation [Saraswati-Sidhu Civilisation] has always facinated me. Isn’t touching and seeing 4000-5000 years of history an amazing thing to experience? Though I happened to have seen it’s pottery, beads ornaments etc. in museums yet couldn’t visit any of it’s site till yesterday.
So, I travelled back in time and visited Harappan port-town of LOTHAL [2500-1900BC] (meaning 'The City of Dead') located along the Bhogava river, a tributary of Sabarmati, in the Gulf of Khambat (near Bhavnagar, Gujarat). It is one of the ancient known ports on an ocean.
The city of Lothal had a very complex drainage system which collected waste from every private house of the city to dump it to a central sump outside of the city.
The massive dockyard, which is the world's earliest known dock and it was probably the greatest work of maritime architecture. This was the earliest known dock found in the world, equipped to berth and service ships. The city got developed as the most important port and a center of the bead industry, gems and valuable ornaments that flourished until 1900 BC. These products reached the far corners of West Asia and Africa.
Truely, the city was much more ahead of it’s time!
Note: Museum is closed for renovation. Guide is not available. The road to reach here is also not in best conditions and is under repair.

Lothal is an archaeological site located in the state of Gujarat, India. It was an important city of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization, dating back to around 2400 BCE. The name "Lothal" means "Mound of the Dead" in Gujarati.
Lothal was a major center for trade and commerce, known for its advanced urban planning, dockyards, and an elaborate drainage system. It was strategically situated along the ancient trade routes, connecting the region with Mesopotamia and other parts of the Indus Valley.
The city had a well-planned layout with residential and industrial areas. One of the notable features of Lothal is its dockyard, which is considered one of the earliest known in the world. The dock provided access to the nearby Sabarmati River, facilitating trade and maritime activities.
Lothal's decline is believed to be linked to changes in the course of the river and the gradual decline of the Indus Valley Civilization. The site was rediscovered in the 1950s, and extensive excavations have provided valuable insights into the social, economic, and technological aspects of this ancient civilization.
TECHY AAKASH — Google review
Lothal is situated near the village of Saragwala in the Dholka Taluka of Ahmedabad district. It is six kilometres south-east of the Lothal-Bhurkhi railway station on the Ahmedabad-Bhavnagar railway line. It is also connected by all-weather roads to the cities of Ahmedabad (85 km/53 mi), Bhavnagar, Rajkot and Dholka. The nearest cities are Dholka and Bagodara. Resuming excavation in 1961, archaeologists unearthed trenches sunk on the northern, eastern and western flanks of the mound, bringing to light the inlet channels and nullah ("ravine", or "gully") connecting the dock with the river. The findings consist of a mound, a township, a marketplace, and the 'dock'. Adjacent to the excavated areas stands the Archaeological Museum, where some of the most prominent collections of Harappa-era antiquities in India are displayed.

A Glimpse into Ancient History
As history enthusiasts, we recently had the opportunity to visit Lothal - archaeological remains of a Harappa Port Town. We were very excited to explore the ancient site for a long time and we were excited to learn about the Indus Valley Civilization.
The site's well-preserved ruins of the brickwork, including the bead factory, town area, and famous dockyard. Though there are name boards for the sites, however, informative explainer boards are missing, and this surely is an improvement that is very much needed.
The museum is currently under renovation otherwise the experience would have been even better.
Nonetheless, the potential of Lothal as a historical destination is undeniable. With the completion of the museum's renovation and ample information boards around the site, we are sure that future visitors will have a much more enriched experience.
Time spent(without museum) ~ 1 hour

The Sabarmati Ashram is a spiritual place where Mahatma Gandhi lived and worked during the early days of Indian independence. It is located on the banks of the Sabarmati River, between a jail and a cemetery, and it preserves Gandhis living quarters as well as a museum that presents an informative record of his life.
One of the Must Visit Place in Ahmedabad to explore values and life of Mahatma Gandhi.
"Being a Gujarati, I thought I should be able to render the greatest services to the country through the Gujarati language. And then as Ahmedabad was an ancient centre of hand loom weaving, it was likely to be most favourable field for the revival of the cottage industry of hand spinning. There was also a hope that, the city being capital of Gujarat, monetary help from its wealthy citizens would be more available than any other place".
This was an explanation given by Gandhiji for choosing Ahmedabad as is hub of activities.
Gandhiji selected a place on the bank of the river Sabarmati very close to the Saint Dadheechi’s temple as well as from Jail and a crematorium. Gandhi used to remark, "This is the right place for our activities to carry on the search for Truth and develop Fearlessness for on one side are the iron bolts of the foreigners and on the other, thunderbolts of mother nature." After building a few essential structures, activities of the Ashram commenced in 1917.
Gandhiji had driven all the major activities of independence as well as upliftment of the society from this Ashram which was popularly known as Sabarmati Ashram. He stayed in the ashram for many years before he finally proceeded for a march to Dandi to break the salt law on 12 March 1930. Before starting the march to Dandi, Gandhiji declared that he will not return to the ashram before the independence of the country.
The Gandhi Smarak Sangrahalaya is run by a public trust established in 1951. The museum’s new premises were built in 1963. The museum’s main objective is to house the personal memorabilia of Mahatma Gandhi. Consequently the exhibits on view depict the vivid and historic events of Gandhiji’s life. There are books, manuscripts and photocopies of his correspondence, photographs of Gandhiji with his wife Kasturba and other ashram associates, life size oil paintings and actual relics like his writing desk and spinning wheel.

The ashram is well maintained and very clean. There are so many Arte facts that symbolizes so many important events in the Indian freedom struggle. The galleries are amazing and so informative. Me and my friends visited the ashram for our project and we were amazed to find so detailed information. I especially liked the timelines, they just take you back in time. Anyone who wants to know about our proud history and Gandhi's amazing and simple life should visit the ashram. The river gives a nice and calming view as well.

My visit to Gandhi Ashram on Sunday was an enriching experience that left a lasting impression on me. As I stepped into the serene surroundings of the ashram, I was immediately struck by the sense of peace and tranquility that enveloped the place.
The ashram, located on the banks of the Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad, is a testament to Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy of truth and non-violence. Walking through the various exhibits and displays, I gained insight into Gandhi's life, his principles, and his role in India's struggle for independence.
One of the highlights of my visit was exploring the quaint museum housed within the ashram, which showcases Gandhi's personal belongings, letters, and photographs. It felt like stepping back in time and getting a glimpse into the life of one of the most influential figures in modern history.
I also took a leisurely stroll along the peaceful riverfront, where Gandhi and his followers used to engage in prayer and meditation. The simplicity and serenity of the surroundings were truly refreshing, providing a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Overall, my visit to Gandhi Ashram was a memorable one, filled with reflection and introspection. It served as a reminder of the enduring relevance of Gandhi's teachings in today's world and left me inspired to strive for truth, peace, and justice in my own life.
If you're ever in Ahmedabad, I highly recommend taking the time to visit Gandhi Ashram. It's not just a historical landmark, but a place of profound spiritual significance that has the power to touch hearts and minds.

The Gandhi museum within the ashram is a treasure trove of historical movements, documented through compelling photos and illustrations, making it a universally enjoyable experience regardless of one's ideology or religion. A visit provides both a historical insight and a peaceful retreat.

The place is really good on the bank of Sabarmati river, On Riverfront.
there are limited car parking, it seems around 20 cars. Atmosphere inside the "Ashram" is very calm and healing, Few things missing like all audio visual panels to share info graphic information was in OFF state.
Suggestion: It would be better to install and utilize solar energy for Ashram.

The whole life of Gandhi and his ideology is well explained in the ashram. The view of Sabarmati river from the ashram is beautiful.
Drinking water and clean washrooms are available within the ashram premise. There are also many books related to Gandhi that one can find in the ashram library and the book shop.

This is a simple, beautiful and serene place, especially in the early morning and around dusk. There's a huge amount of history here and they have presented it in the museum in the form of many photos, letters, snippets and objects. Just taking a walk around the place and sitting for a few minutes on the riverfront or the lawns feels peaceful.

It's a serene experience. Beautiful river view. Museums. You will get to see different Spinning wheels from Gandhi's time.
People here consider him equivalent to god I guess since I saw few elderly women touching his feet ,folding hands Infront of his statute for blessing. Gandhi's house was there. If your are curious enough to visit. Spotted some foreigners too.
Anyway ,great couple spot. It's a big place without much disturbance. So can take your girlfriend and spend some time talking in the staircase ,looking at the Sabarmati river.
Overall experience is good inside the Ashram. But not outside it. You can't find a restaurant nearby. So have your breakfast, lunch before going.

Sabarmati Riverfront is a stunning stretch of riverbank lined with lush green gardens and parks, perfect for a relaxing walk or picnic. The Sabarmati Riverfront is one of the newer additions to Ahmedabad's attractions, and it offers beautiful views of the city at night. It also has attractions such as a zip-line and boat rentals.
Sabarmati Riverfront is definitely a go-to place. Lot of activities available like speed boating, yachts, kids boating area. Water scooter, cycling, Boat rides, and good restaurants. Best time to visit is early morning or evening after 7 pm. Currently some areas are restricted for general people. During Evening city lights makes this place worth spending time. However it is not wheelchair friendly. Someone should definitely think about it..

It's our regular hangout place. It's better to drive here through 2 wheelers instead of a car. Police may get you a penalty ticket if you park outside around the road.
You can walk around a bit at night time. You can jog or excercise in the morning and you can ride a bicycle as well.
You may wanna try sitting at a quite and peaceful place instead of crowded place. A lot people come here with their families and their partners too.

The riverfront is nice but the accessibility is a bit hectic. If an old person wants to visit the place there are no amenities one has to walk a long distance. There is a facility of using bikes. But what's the point if one has to return the same place after the ride.it would have been better if the bike points have a linkage from one to others . There's a boat rides too which follows the same facility as bikes.Overall its nice place to visit but when one has spent so much on the development of waterfront. Its better to overlook the accessibility in the development too.

One of the best visiting places in Ahmedabad is the Sabarmati River Front. I literally spent hours sitting by the river, feeling the mild breeze and enjoying the sunset. They made a park also. Which wasn't the centre of attraction for me. Rather, I enjoyed the sitting area and the walking/running path made around the river. Many people go for morning/evening walks as I sat there and saw. A place for good vibes indeed.

✍🏻The Sabarmati river is a monsoon-fed river which has a total catchment area of 21,674 square kilometres (8,368 sq mi). The Dharoi Dam constructed in 1976 upstream of Ahmedabad controls water and protects from flooding while Vasna Barrage constructed in 1976 downstream retains water in the river along the city banks and diverts it through Fatehwadi canal for irrigation. The Narmada Canal, which crosses Sabarmati a few kilometres upstream from the city, is part of a larger canal network of Sardar Sarovar Dam. The canal can feed excess water to the river and maintains the level of water in the river which is retained through Vasna Barrage.
The Sabarmati Ashram will be also connected to lower promenade and existing steps will be developed as an amphitheater. The 3.3 ha Heritage Plaza along the city walls between Ellis Bridge and Nehru Bridge will be designed as open space showcasing heritage, history and culture of the city. Some sports complexes are also proposed. Thank You 🙏🏻

If you are new to this city then probably you will find difficulty in car and bike but this place is fully equipped with multistorey car and bike parking exactly opposite to this park entry and from this parking you can directly enter into the park premises from the first floor. Outside eatables are allowed and food served on this site probably you may not like it and so suggestions take it from outside.

The riverfront on Sabarmati River has given new identity to Ahmedabad. The Riverfront has quickly become popular hangout destination for Amdavadis.
I lived in Ahmedabad from 1979 to 1994 before moving to US. But, today’s Ahmedabad is completely different and has transformed into one of the best cities in India. The major credit goes to Sabarmati Riverfront.
Since, there are not many public parks in the city, the Riverfront has become major attraction both for locals and tourists. To my surprise, the gardens were well maintained and reasonably clean.
The Atal walking bridge is part of the whole riverfront project and connects the East and West of Sabarmati Riverfront. The colorful walking bridge is like a tail of the kite (kite flying is very popular here). You can view the beautiful river and city lighting from the bridge and relax on the benches (if you find a place).
The negative side of the place is that it is too crowded to sit and relax. It is hard to take pictures without photobombing. The place could have been much cleaner. Everything looked dusty. If you are in Ahmedabad, it is recommended to visit in the evening time.

Kudos to AUDA for the development they have done. Amazing work done. Looks like you are in a new country. Also the people of Ahemdabad are too kind, helpful and jolly who supported the system in keeping this place and setting a benchmark. Online tickets are available and parking is free. Please note free parking as there are people asking money for the parking and running a scam.

Build around the sabarmati river, it is a paradise for walkers and people who want to spent some time together. Both electric and normal cycles for rent available. There was previously boating now I think it's stopped. A small cruise boat for large crowds is available though.

The Sabarmati Riverfront, a splendid 11km concrete promenade, offers a captivating view of the Sabarmati River. Its daytime ambiance is a harmonious blend of Brutalist and Modernist architecture, punctuated by the verdant greenery of Neem trees, adding a touch of nature to the urban landscape.
During weekdays, the Riverfront is typically less crowded, making it an ideal spot for tranquil walks or leisure activities. The weekends attract more visitors, yet the expansive space ensures there's room for everyone. With no entry fee, it serves as a perfect weekend retreat for families.
The Riverfront stretches across various localities, some of which may not be safe at certain times. Therefore, if you plan to explore the entire length of the Riverfront, either on foot or by bicycle, it's advisable to do so in the company of others.
The atmosphere here is positively vibrant, particularly during winter mornings. It's a sight to behold as the cityscape is bathed in the warm glow of the rising sun. I highly recommend a visit to the Sabarmati Riverfront for anyone seeking to experience this beautiful spectacle.

I just had to see this place. I'm not a Jain, btw. The thought of climbing 3346 steps was a challenge of sorts. And something to brag about later ;-) . Managed to do it in about two and half hours. The climb up is really something. The temples on top are really beautiful - worth the effort. And the atmosphere ... you just have to experience it. No photography allowed on top. This is something worth doing. See attached pics of the climb up.

Situated in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. Lord Adinatha, the first of Jain Tirthankaras, is said to have meditated on the shatrunjaya hills, where the palitana temples were later constructed.
Palitana is the world's only mountain that has more than 900 temples. Temples as well as whole mountain is considered the most sacred pilgrimage place by the jain community, being world's largest temple complex. From the foot of the hill to the top there are about 3,800 stone steps to facilitate climbing.
Not just the temples on the hill are sacred, but as per Jain scriptures entire hill is sacred right from top to bottom. The journey is arduous. For those unable or unaccustomed to the strain, sling chairs are available for bargain. Food mist neither be eaten nor carried on the way. The descent must begin before it is evening, for no soul can remain atop the sacred Mountain during the night.
Palitana is the first city in the world to be legally vegetarian. It has outlawed, or made illegal, the buying and selling of meat, fish and eggs and also related jobs or work, such as fishing and penning 'food animals'.
Must visit.

Most recognised Teerth among all the Jains in the world. It is first of the only two vegetarians city in the world.
The temple hill has around 3500+ stairs to reach to the peak where Idol of First Jain Teerthankar Bhagwan Shri Aadinath is present in the main Temple along with so many Temples and idols.
You cannot remove your attention from the Aadinath dada Idol once you are there, you feel so light and might get so many goose bumps until you are in the vicinity of the main temple.
The place is very peaceful, millions of devotees visits every year, On the occasion of Akshay tritiya so many devotees come to break their year long fast (Varshi tapka parna) from all over the country.

The authorities should ensure that the lake is maintained clean. The least they can do is to educate or penalize the unruly public who litter their surroundings. There are enough trash cans, yet these plastic bottles end up in the lake.
Boat riding is a very short lived experience for a 130rs ticket.
Trams look attractive that facilitates a whole view of this place in a leisurely manner.
Towards evening, it is excessively crowded and noisy.
Good place to hang out with your friends, family or even just yourself 😁.
It was raining heavily and thus I was spared of a huge rush that we usually witness on weekends.
Entry fee is 20 rs.
Boat riding is not that satisfactory for an amount of rs130. Just a quick round, and it's over in the wink of an eye.
The overall view of the whole river front is aesthetically very good. There are many food chains where you can treat yourself to yummy food or even a softee. 😊😋🍨🍧🍦🥃

One of the best places to see is Kankaria Lake. There you will get the best view of Kankaria Lake inside Kankaria Park. It will also be fun to see the zoological park. The fun of sitting in the train around the lake is different. So you must experience this once. There you will also get food from different states.

You can have many rides in affordable price. Food is not at restaurants standard. You can see big fishes also in the lake from the shore. It has many kids play area. Must visit with your kids..
santosh chauhan — Google review
Pros: The lake and surrounding infrastructure has developed a lot since I lasted visited the place 20 years ago. There are a lot of things for kids to play and watch.
Cons: Complicated ticketing process as tickets need to be purchased at various points - entrance, zoo, rides etc. Parking facility is inconvenient and not developed at all. The condition of zoo animals and enclosures are poor. We saw the skinniest Lion ever! And finally, there was no drinking water in the zoo and the facilities including toilets were not clean.

Peaceful and holy place in the middle of Bhavnagar. It's construction at a small hillock adds to its beauty. There was no rush of devotees, but I think it is more popular as a sitting place and enjoying in leisure. There are benches and sitting places around it. Being a Shiva temple, there are wood apple (बेल वृक्ष) trees on the hillock around the temple.

Dakshinamoorthy Temple
EME Temple, Vadodara
Short for Electrical and Mechanical Corps, in honour of the people who built the temple, the EME Temples is a symbol of the secularity practised in the Indian Army, the EME Temple in Vadodara is an aluminium-clad abode, constructed at the intersection of ancient and modern.
Also known as the Dakshinamurthy temple, it primarily houses a massive idol of Lord Shiva, along with a miniature Lord Ganesha (specially brought in from Mahabalipuram). There is also a silver arch with the holy words "Om Namah Shivaya" engraved on it.
It is a popular opinion among archaeologists that this temple is unique regarding its design, concept and geodesic design covered with war scraps and aluminium sheets. The unique aspect is how the temple supports secularism by incorporating holy symbols from every religion in its structure. The Kalash on the top symbolises Hinduism. The Dome signifies Islam. The Tower represents Christianity. The Golden-structure above the tower expresses Buddhism. The Entrance stands for Jainism.
Built in classic geodesic architecture, the EME Temple is a perfect illustration of the values that are the foundation of the Indian Army. On the outside of the structure are carvings of holy symbols from various religions. Each substructure of the building is representative of a different faith –
The 'Kalash' on top of the dome symbolises Hinduism
The dome is found in the design of mosques, thus representing Islam
The tower is symbolic of Christianity
The golden cap above the tower represents Buddhism
The main gateway of the temple ropes in the Jain way
Rules to be followed when you visit EME Temple
1. Valid ID proof of at least one member of the group/family is needed for entry.
2. It may remain closed on Tuesday evenings so do check before going.
3. Mobile phones and cameras are not allowed.
4. Pets are not allowed in the temple premises.

This temple is called Shiva Mandir Dakshinamurti Mandir. The idol of Lord Shiva is seated and imparts knowledge of dance and art, spirituality and devotion. It is built and maintained by the Army. The 'priests' here are also military men. It is on the campus of EME School, admission is free. But ID proof is required. Its construction is of a very unique and secular type. Its ‘kalash’ represents Hinduism, the tower represents Christianity, the dome represents Islam, the golden top represents Buddhism, the entrance represents Jainism. This is a unique place to visit.

EME Temple.
EME : Electrical Mechanical Engineering is a supporting arm of the Indian Army.
Photography is not permitted. So, we did not take any. Photos given here are with the permission and courtesy of my brother-in-law Col V V Naik of EME.
At the gate, we had to show our I card to gain entry. We showed our AF cards but any proof of id like Aadhar is sufficient to enter.
The temple is located in a calm quiet and serene spot on the campus amid a copse of large trees and a well-maintained garden. The atmosphere is quite soothing.
A dome of aluminium alloy and a rectangular tapering tower draws your attention. The design of the dome is called a geodesic structure.
As per the information boards displayed at the temple, the idea and concept as well as its construction were carried out under the guidance and supervision of an earlier Commandant of EME School, Brig AF Eugine who was a Christian. It was built solely by “Shramdan” (volunteer labour) by the officers and men of the EME school. No government funds were utilised.
Even though a south-facing idol of Lord Shiva is installed this Dakshnishewr Shiva temple is a symbol of secularism. This is reflected in its architecture and design.
The dome is Islamic in character, The Kasha on top of the dome represents Hinduism, the spire-like tapering rectangular tower represents Christianity, the small golden structure on top of this tower indicates Buddhism, the entrance reflects Jainism and lastly the fire in the temple depicts Zoroastrianism.
An added attraction is the large number of beautifully engraved ancient and historical statues obtained by the engineers in aid of diggings of the Archaeological department, which have artfully been displayed in the temple premise.
Besides other, some minor temples the Amarnath Shiva installed in an artificially made cave-like structure grabs your attention. Here is a specially made and refrigerated glass case an ice shiv ling has been installed. Nicely executed idea to present an ice shiv ling akin to one at Amarnath.
Spent a delightful time going through smaller shrines, the Shiv Gufa, looking at all the beautiful 6 th and 7 th century statues of various gods, rishis and apsara’s.
Left with nice feeling.
12 photos sent by Vijay, all are given here.

EME Temple in Vadodara (Baroda) is renowned for its unique architecture and serene atmosphere. I appreciate its tranquility and distinctive design, resembling a pagoda. The temple holds significance for followers of the Indian Armed Forces due to its association with the EME (Electrical and Mechanical Engineering) Corps. Its also has Sai baba, Ganesh ji, Shri ram and Hanuman ji statues for worshipping. Quiet and a good place to visit with family.

3. Well, the audio guided tour is good in which every person is provided with ear plugs & a device with multiple language options.
4. Monday the palace is closed, balance days open till 1730hrs. A considerable amount of effort has been put to maintain the artifacts inside the palace. However, scope of improvement is still there to maintain the outer structure.

One of the most beautiful Palace I have seen in my life. Surely deserves one more visit. Best place in vadodara to hangout with your friends, partner and family.
Ticket is 250/- rs. Per head ... they will give audio player (pocket size) which will narrate each section of Palace and story related to it.
They have this small cute Cafe inside. Pics inside Palace are prohibited but outside you can click some amazing shots.
Car parking is available but no security out there.
It's amazing place in rainy season 😍

Its a wow place. Right from the time you enter, you will get a wow effect. Its a huge place but the main palace tour, which is self guided, will take approx 45mins. Palace is very well maintained. Photography inside the palace is prohibited, but you can take pictures from outside. It has beautiful gardens, also used as golf course, houses a restaurant and a banquet for marriages and corporate gatherings, good parking facilities among others.
Good tourist destination overall and the ticket price is worth it.

Largest Private Residence in the world. It is a good spot to hangout with family. The ticket is on the costlier side taking in consideration its maintenance which I feel can be better. You should visit this place to know about the royalty and heritage of Vadodara.

Beautiful Palace... Must visit. but entry fees bit costly.. lot of restrictions bcoz of the Still Royal family lives in the same palace in 1St floor .... Beautiful Lawn with lot of Peacocks moving around.
Palace must be maintained outside as exteriors need maintenance clean and paintings

The place is awesome. Guards are polite and welcoming, also guide us if we ask about some place we didn't reach as per audio. I love to visit such royal and nostalgic places. Everything in it I love to see and listen to the history of this place. The paintings, carvings of each and every statue, details of interior and exterior everything is proof of how creative and professional artists were supposed to be in our past days. The aura of the sword room made me feel like how strong and powerful the King must be in that time who have been fighting for protection of their people. I was amazed and wanted to take a sword in my own hand and practice some fighting moves but obviously that is not possible for now as I'm not VVIP I don't know either if the VVIPS get to touch it but isn't it obvious if the queen and king of the palace allow someone to touch it then they will 100% try to take the sword in hand, my dream is to do such practice with the original. I have deducted 1 star because in the palace everywhere it's mentioned that photo and video is prohibited inside the palace and it is but foreigners were taking the photos freely and none of the guards stopped them to do so, I was disappointed to see that why the normal people of India are not allowed to take photos in there but the outside people are freely talking it why? Only if I guess they are supposed to pay more than I can consider the palace should charge more from the foreigner if they want to click pictures inside the palace and if they don't want to pay extra for the photos they must not get the picture inside.

Nice palace... you get to see beautiful paintings.. weaponry... beautiful architecture....
You also get a audio device to get additional information on the complete tour of the ground floor which is very informative.
1 star reduced for not allowing to see the upper floors and not allowing to use DSLR cameras.
You can click photos from u mobile only outside the place. Clicking photos inside the palace is not allowed.

Built by king of Vadodara, this is the one of the most majestic palaces built in India. Spread across almost 700 acres & with 170 rooms, its a very well maintained palace & a portion of it is still used by the royal family. The ticket price is Rs 250 per person which includes audio guide & does a good job in explaining the palace. I felt that the pricing was slightly on higher side but shouldn't stop you from visiting this marvelous structure. A must visit & highly recommended.

Iconic tourist spot of the city. Went there for the first time after living in the city for about 15 years.
Entry fees is 250 per person which didn't quite feel worth it. Should have been 150 or maximum 200. Being a heavy traveller, this place didn't feel as amazing as other old and iconic places I've visited across India.
4-5 rooms, cafe and garden front view are the only thing to be covered. Couldn't get the audio kit as we entered in the last 1 hour and queue management wasn't great.
If you're bringing some guest, would rather suggest a combo ticket for 2 places + lunch.
Big con:
1. No pictures allowed inside the palace so moments cannot be captured.
2. Weapon room which is the best part is a medium sized room so can feel crowded if 20+ people enter it at once.
3. The Cafe didn't have water bottle available, which was surprising considering its open during day time when people might be thirsty
What I liked:
The washroom looks old school and is pretty well maintained.

One of best palaces after Rajasthan obviously, I have ever seen. The movie,"Satya Prem Ki Katha" have been shooted there. But one has to admit that the palace needs some more maintenance too. The audio aid is helpful to know the historical references. Without it the visit would be a mere seeing not the experiencing one. There is a small cafe in the palace. In summer time this is very helpful for the visitors. Who have survived the heat in Baroda, would know why I am saying so. The sculptures are very interesting and intriguing. To know the heritage and history of Baroda one must visit this palace of Gaekwads ancestry.

Very beautiful palace.
Everything is very well maintained.
Rich history.
Quality of audio book is also good.
Takes approx a little more than 1 hour to complete the tour.
Must see site if u ever come to Vadodra.
For Indian citizens it's 250 bucks per head.
They also have lunch and dinner facilities.
Everything can be pre-booked online.
They also have a mini cafeteria with amazing upside down pineapple cake. Loved it.
I went on a rainy day so the weather was very pleasant and the pics turned out very well.

The entrance ticket is 250 per person and for 375 you can buy a combo for Fatehsingh Museum too (which has far better things to see from historical point of view). For palace the entrance is gate 2 and for museum it's gate 3. There's no way to walk to the museum from the palace despite both being in the same compound. Photography is allowed only outside and very small portion of palace is open to visit. The guards constantly whistle at visitors. It doesn't give you feeling of tourist place with so many restrictions and rules.

Well, this is a huge Property, one of the historical monuments of Baroda & a must visit place to understand the history of Baroda.
Unfortunately, the palace needs maintenance, improvements & upkeep. I was not impressed with the state of this palace that we witnessed. Even though it’s a beautiful, the place needs some serious uplifting.
It takes 2-3 hours to check it out. The best thing is they provide a free audio guide to get detailed explanation of every place in this palace.
The carvings, painted glass, wall deco, sculptures are all very intricate & beautiful.
The good thing is It has a nice cafeteria & clean bathrooms for visitors too.

It's an amazing palace to see.
Situated on side of Jail road of Baroda.
Vast parking available free of cost.
One has to buy tickets from counter.
One can buy it for palace entry as well as museum entry. Museum is far away from palace.
On entry to palace, one is given ear plugs for listening to audio describing different sections of the palace. It is available in different languages.
Inside palace, different sections are there used by King for specific reasons.
Arms and Ammunition section was so amazing to see.
Architecture was so eye catching.
It was an amazing experience to watch the heritage articles.
It requires atleast 2 hrs to visit palace.
Outside palace, a large golf course is there which is not for visitors.
I could not visit museum due to time constraints but feel it to be best just like palace.
Clean washroom facility available.
Tea coffee and snacks are available inside.
We had great memories of visiting.

Audio tour is also available. They give you pre set recording of the details in the instrument which is the best part and it's available in various languages as well and convenient for citizens.Photography is prohibited inside the palace. You can click from the outside. It's a must visit place if you are in Baroda because it tells us about the rich heritage here!,you may choose between English/Hindi/Gujarati.
One of the finest place to visit with friends and family. I was here to attend an Local Guide Coummunity. The meeting was held at LVP Hall. It has a great capacity to handle 200 people at time. The food quality is at its peak with the beautiful view of nature.
Ticketing experience: There was an option of purchasing tickets online. Filled all details on their website and paid it through credit card.
Money got cut and tickets didn't get generated.
When informed about the issue in ticket booking counter, clerk took it casual as a know issue and asked to proceed to entry. If I would have thought there is a bank issue and purchased the tickets again I would have lost dearly.Tickets cost you around ₹250 per adult and ₹150 per kid.
It was a wonderful experience. Visit historical places every now and then. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A good place to visit while at Vadodara.
The visitors are allowed in a small part of the Palace. Different rooms have different exhibits, which are well kept and labelled.
A complimentary audio guide helps you understand the exhibits. You have to choose the language - English, Hindi or Marathi. Photography is allowed only outside but not inside.
You can see the exhibits at your own pace. Please allow about 2 hours.
I would certainly recommend a visit to the Palace when in Vadodara.

Positives:
- The palace is great and wonderful. It clearly shows how Kings used to live, it's massive.
- Once you enter the building you will be directed to the office, where you can get the audio device which will guide you through. The devices are available in English, Hindi and Marathi.
- Cleanliness and lighting is enough to see the artifacts and paintings etc. They have different rooms on the ground floor open for visiting which the audio device will help you with.
- You can do a lot of photography with the external view of this palace.
- Very quiet and serene. There is a golf course too, but I don't think we can visit that part.
- The place has a small restaurant/canteen where you can have something to eat/drink.
- There is a room full of weapons which have been used in a war. The audio device describes in details about some of the weapons which helps a lot.
Negatives:
- They charge a good amount but the visitors are only allowed on ground floor, rest it closed for visitors.
- It will take you some time to understand how your audio device works, without it you will just roam around and see things.
- DSLR's are now allowed, but phone cameras are. This did not make sense.
- Pigeons are messing up various statues and they need to clean those.
If you are visiting on weekend it will be a little crowded and you will have to wait for your turn to click your photos.
Parking is ample and free.
Ticket cost us Rs. 250/- per person on Sunday.
Verdict: I would not suggest anyone to drive miles just to see this place. But if you are around, do pay a visit. A little more maintenance is required.

Hathni Mata Temple is a serene and picturesque Hindu temple located near Jund Hanuman and Pavagadh. It is an ideal place to visit during monsoon season as it offers stunning natural beauty and is perfect for photography. The temple of Lord Shiva nearby adds to the peaceful ambiance of the place, providing visitors with solitude from their fast-paced lives. Hathni Mata Temple is known for its rejuvenating energy, making it an excellent spot to refresh one's mind.
Totally recommended place for hiking lovers.
But never go there as a single person, always go with a group, or minimum 3 people.
The reason for not going alone is, the place is very spooky, initially during the day I am very sure you would not feel it, but as the evening hours start you would feel it, and trust me when I say that.
Also the rocks might hurt you when you go in the waterfall beside the temple, so always wear your footwear while going in the water.
BRIEF OF THE TEMPLE: The temple stone is in the shape of an elephant, and therefore it is called hathni mata. Beside the holy stone is another stone in the shape of a turtle, all of it is made from a single stone.
NOTE: The waterfall is not available for 12 months, only in the monsoon season you will be able to see the rushing flow of water and green land else it's just rocks and trees, good for mountaineers

The Hathni Mata Temple located in Vadodara is a hidden gem that offers a truly unique and breathtaking experience for visitors. One of the main highlights of this temple is the stunning waterfall that flows down from the hills behind it, creating a truly awe-inspiring atmosphere.
The temple is especially beautiful in the summer months, when the lush greenery surrounding the temple is in full bloom and the waterfall is at its most impressive. However, it should be noted that since the temple is located in a village, visitors should not expect all the modern amenities and facilities that they would find in a city.
Despite this, the natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere of the temple more than make up for any lack of facilities. It is highly recommended that visitors bring their own vehicles to the temple, as public transportation may not be readily available in the area.
Overall, if you are looking for a serene and awe-inspiring temple experience that is off the beaten path, Hathni Mata Temple is definitely worth a visit. Just make sure to come prepared with your own vehicle and a sense of adventure!

We had reached the temple in early morning. That date was 26/12/2021.
It was very cold environment on that day.
First we searched for washrooms for taking baths and brushes, etc.
After that we get into the row of entry in temple.
That was too much long line for darshan
We reached at entry point but we didn't took entry pass, so guards removed us from this row.
After that we decided to took Mukh Darshan of Sai Mandir....
Mukh Darshan is an another entry into temple less row.
But from mukh darshan you are not Able to see Statue of Sai Baba from near.
We tooked darshan from a distance and purchased some prasad for home.
That was an interesting thing happened with us.
I really enjoyed it.

This humble mosque and pilgrimage site was once the home of the revered religious leader, and it continues to draw crowds seeking blessings and fulfillment of their wishes. It was a mosque named by a Hindu Name "Dwarakamai" by Saibaba where Saibaba used to stay. It is a symbol of Hindu Muslim Unity. Saibaba used to spend some time here in their daily routine. They also enlightened a dhuni (a kind of bonfire) which is burning till today. The ashes of this dhuni known as udi is given to devotees as Saibaba's Prasad which he also used to give to his believers then. Some accessories of daily use of Saibaba are kept here. A stone on which he used to sit is also placed here.

SaiBaba's Dhuni is here! The same Dhuni started by Sai Baba is burning here from 183 years approximately. It's a nice experience to see the place where all the miracles (mentioned in Sai Satcharita and Sai leela magazines) took place first hand.
The only draw back is that Dhuni is fully enclosed in steel mesh and we need to struggle to see the embers.

Dwarkamai is the most important place to see by every devotee. In the entrance left side we saw the sai baba cooking place and sai baba's hand resting place on the wall. We observe that 3 feet of one wooden stick of sai baba.
After that we saw the dhuni covered with grills. In the past we touched and some grains were put in the dhuni but we con't touch it.
We saw all the items of sai baba used. Please observe the deepam holes on the wall of dwarkmai. Sai baba lights the lamps with water when no one gives the oil that night.
At last we saw the sai baba sitting stone covered with glass We touched it on the glass and pray for peace of mind.

Dwarkamai :
Dwarkamai is a place where Sai Baba lived until the very end of his life. Before Sai Baba’s arrival in Shirdi, this place used to be a mosque in poor conditions. Later, Sai turned it into Dwarkamai where he started healing, curing ill people. He solved all their problems and helped them with solutions to their worries.
Here at Dwarkamai, there are two levels. Level one has two rooms with Sai’s portrait and a huge rock on which he used to sit. While level two has a square shaped stool made of stone, which Sai is believed to have used for bathing. The highlight of Dwarkamai is an oil painting of Sai Baba in which he is sitting on a wooden carved shrine.
Location: Pimpalwadi Road, Rahata, Near Samadhi Mandir.
Timings: Monday to Sunday - 5:30 am to 9:45 pm.

Dwarkamai is one of the treasures of Shirdi for the devotees. They say that Dwarkamai is the heart of Shirdi, the place where the great Sai Baba spent a significant part of his life including his last moments. It is a treasure to all of Baba's devotees because it was the home of, as they like to call him, God on Earth. People of all faiths look up to the great Sai Baba and truly believe in what he preached. The spirit of tolerance, acceptance and welcome is very much alive here.

The Shri Ghrushneshwar Mandir is an intricately carved 18th-century Hindu temple made of red stone that is dedicated to the deity Shiva. It is considered one of the 12th Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva and features carvings of all Vishnu Avatars on its shikhar. The temple is located in an underdeveloped area with low crowds, allowing for quick pooja, abhishek, and darshan visits.
The 12 th Jyotirlinga, one of holiest site of Hindu, just nearby Unesco World Heritage site - the Ellora cave. Temple periphery needs a lot of face lifts like paving marble , painting, demolishing saggy stalls of local vendors. Cleaniness seems very poor. Wanted to do abhisekh but price was not wriiten anywhere. Nearby Babaji nirog dham looked better managed than temple. Temple management team must be changed immediately.

Grishneshwar temple, Aurangabad Overview
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Grishneshwar Temple located in Ellora is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. Also known as Ghrneshwar or Dhushmeshwar Temple, this Jyotirlinga in Aurangabad is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is considered an important pilgrimage site. Grishneshwar is the smallest of the Jyotirlingas and is considered the last or the 12th Jyotirlinga of India.
Entry to the Grishneshwar Temple is open to all, but to enter the Garbhagriha (the main sanctum housing the Shiva Linga), men need to be bare-chested. This is also one of the only Jyotirlingas in India where the devotees can touch the Shiva Linga with bare hands.
The temple architecture follows a South Indian Style and it is known to be one of the holiest places to visit in Aurangabad. The five-tiered shikhara of the Grishneshwar Temple is spectacularly carved and constructed in the traditional temple architecture style. Rebuilt several times, the current form temple was built by Queen Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore in the 18th century

One of the 12th Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva. Developments are not that much in the area and even Temple also. Place is not much crowded so we can offer Pooja, Abhishek and Darshan in short time. Curved all Vishnu Avatars on Temple Shikhar. Person must take off his Shirt and Undershirts if wants to visit Garbgruh that can be kept outside of temple/Garbgruh. Devices like Camera, Mobile are not allowed inside the premises as photography is strictly prohibited there. Temple is covered with boundry wall, so even you can't take complete pictures from outside. Private mobile locker facility is also available outside temple, Rs.10 for one mobile.
Very near ie 1KM to heritage site Ellora caves.
Thanks............

The 12th jyotirlinga temple. This is very close to Ellora caves around 1 km. Queue is less around 3-3:30 pm. There is pay and park service available right outside the temple. Flowers and bel leaves are allowed. Dhatura and banana flower are not allowed. No photography allowed inside the temple. As soon as the queue ends and we enter temple, males need to remove the upper body clothes. i.e., shirt and vest and tie around waist and then only enter. We get to touch the shivling and offer flowers.
Nice sugarcane juice available outside the temple.
This place is just 1 hrs 30 mins drive from Shirdi as there is a new road highway built from Shirdi to Nagpur.

Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple is an ancient shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, amongst the 12 Jyotirlingas situated all over India. It is also known as Ghraneshwar or Ghushmeshwar Temple.
This temple is about 31 km away from the main city. It is located in a Verul city, a city which is known for a very famous Ellora caves. These caves are just a 1 km away from this temple.
The old temple structure was destroyed by the Delhi Sultanate in 13th and 14th-century. It was re-constructed by Maloji Raje Bhosale, grandfather of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and later again by the Queen of Indore, Ahilyabai Holkar in the 18th century.
This beautiful temple structure is made up of red coloured stones and it is an illustration of Maratha temple architectural style and structure. It has a 5-layered tall shikhara and several pillars which bear intricate mythological carvings. The exterior of the temple also has a carvings and sculptures of many Hindu gods and goddesses on it.
This jyotirling temple is the smallest Jyotirlinga temple in India.

The most devine place I experienced in my life.
Honestly, I was experiencing a divine light in my heart for almost three days. I heared that, a jyotirling touches you at your AAGYAA CHAKRAA if you have a devotion at your heart and, veryfirst time I experienced it at my personal level.
My temple experience was amazing. I was there for two complete days and performed Rudrabhishek also. Honestly I can say this is one among a few places where you may not feel cheated at any level. They allow bhakts to go directly in the garbh-grih to touch the jyotirlinga and perform pooja. For interested devotees, Rudrabhishek pooja is also available which is performed by 11 ved-paathi brahmans for almost an hour. Which gives a total divine experience if you are a true devotee. The crowd is limited and you do not need to wait in a lond queue. Anyone can expect to finish his pooja maximum within 30 mins.
Brahmins are so honest and gentlemen that I felt worthy to touch their feet and also to take their blessings. They do not demand any money at any level. You can stay within the premises and in temple as per your wish.
Outside the temple, flower vendors and mobile lockers are available because leather things like belt, wallet, and mobile phones are not allowed. These vendors charge just 5 Rs to keep these all things safely.
One more tradition, that a male person needs to remove his upper body clothes while darshan. Ladies are not bounded with any such rules and this is because of following the old tradition.
In Ghrishneshwar only any one may find an economic home stay within the range of Rs. 600/- to 1200/-.
Sambhajinagar is the nearest famous city to this place. Along with darshan of Jyotirling, you can also take the darshan of "BHADRA MARUTI" in Khultabaad and world famous heritage site ELLORA. In Ellora, Kailash Temple is made with single stone which is worth watching.
At the last, I would suggest everyone to visit this Jyotirling at least once in life time. Specially who are having LEO as their jodiac sign.
Jai Shree Ram
Har-Har Mahadev💐

I have good experience from the temple. No day light robbery with us there. We kept our mobile phones at prashad shop at then entered the temple due to noon aarti we waited there in queue
For 40 minutes, before entered in Garbhgrih we took off our upper clothes of body due to the temple rules which is for male. The day was Crowded but no rush in Garbhgriha, we took good time their.
It's not necessary for male to wear dhoti for worship there but don't wear clothes upper part of body.
Temple opens at 5am, 11:30am to 12:00pm is aarti time, 7:30pm to 8:00pm is evening arti time.

Excellent experience. Magnificent structures and views all around. Locals are really not helpful and give all false information. There are a total of 34 caves among which I felt Cave 16 which is the centre one as soon as we enter and Cave 29 which is a bit far are excellent. For cave 16, If you are fit enough try to climb the hill for the top view. En route to Cave 29, you will get a waterfall and the view is really amazing. Even though this is inside, Cave 29 is huge make sure you don't miss it.
It's a holiday on Tuesday(check once before you leave). It will take around 3-4 hours depending on the time you use to take pics. Overall a nice experience.
Note: You won't get food inside only water so make sure you get something to eat. Since the overall duration will be more.

These 34 monasteries and temples, extending over more than 2 km, were dug side by side in the wall of a high basalt cliff, not far from Aurangabad, in Maharashtra. Ellora, with its uninterrupted sequence of monuments dating from A.D. 600 to 1000, brings the civilization of ancient India to life. Not only is the Ellora complex a unique artistic creation and a technological exploit but, with its sanctuaries devoted to Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism, it illustrates the spirit of tolerance that was characteristic of ancient India.

The place is so beautiful and calming, the people who work there are good at their job and helpful.
They have good maintenance of the outside area of the caves.
But the government should know and understand that these historical monuments are precious and need to be taken care of. These monuments give each city an identity and thus give value to our nation.
The caves are not at all maintained from the inside, It smells dirty and also the walls are getting more dirty and infectious. There are statues of Our supreme Buddha which are not properly maintained and there are no rules for visitors to showcase respect towards those statues.
People who take photographs are so disrespectful towards the place and statues.
I think people should learn to show some respect towards our monuments which showcase our history.

There's an open ground at the base of the hill, so ample parking available. There's a washroom before you start climbing the hill, no facilities in the caves, so be mindful.
The caves sit atop the hill, the stairs lead to them. The panaromic view of the city from the top is gorgeous.
Like all rock cut places, this cave also has a calming, chill feel to it. The caves are not lit, so the main attraction - the massive Buddha statue with the disciples - sits in dark. I'd have really appreciated if there were a few guides who'd explain the carvings on the walls. Some of them did get spike my curiosity.
Clearly, there's been a lot of patch work done to make it tourist friendly. But nonetheless, it's a nice place to visit and spend a couple of hours.

The climb is worth the view... the caves are stinky due to stagnant water, but there is not much to see just a buddha statue and a few beautiful carvings on the walls. Locals just visit the place to chill as the view is soooo amazing. Need to have your own transport or it gets a little difficult to get something back to the city.

encompass 12 visually captivating rock-cut Buddhist caves dating back to the 6th and 7th centuries. Each of the caves are home to several remarkable carvings and sculptures of Buddhist deities belonging to the Tantra tradition. Situated around 9 km from the city, the caves offer a spectacular view of the surroundings and make for a nice outing.

I felt very excited to visit Aurangabad caves. They look very beautiful. That architecture is next level . Must appreciate the designers and the builders of the caves . And all the caves have the same Buddha statue everywhere . Everyone must visit this place at least once in a lifetime.

Refreshing place to visit even if caves are closed. Great city view in the night time. But very quiet, road has street lights. But safety first if travelling here in night.

Buddha Leni caves is a very good example of Indian history and mythology melting together. The caves which have been reported are supposed to be used by the pandavas during their exile. The Buddhist meditation centre at the foot of the hill is also worth a visit. It takes almost 1 hour for climbing the stairs and return. Overall I can say it's a very peaceful place. Must visit this place

Historical place with preserved sculptures. Although there is no guide but you can identify the history of the site by the sculptures encarved on the stones. While climbing upward to the site you will be seeing more than 100 Buddha statues on the way. It has quite a nice view from top. You can take stairs or the road to go half way up. It has 2 cabes and one big domb like place. The details of the sculptures can be seen using a torch. The main sculpture is damaged a bit but still is in good condition.

Aurangabad Cave Temple. Jesus, Mohammed were not born yet. India was home to pure Indians. They follow the teachings of Hinduism , Buddhism and Jainism, three of the world's oldest religions. The mythology of those days described 'Devgiri' as the abode of the gods. The muni sages of the three religions lived in the beautiful coniferous forest of that beautiful mountain. It is written in the Shiva Purana that sometimes even Mahadev himself used to visit that land. In harmony with all religions, the mountains used to chant Sanskrit and Pali verses. The Buddhist caves of Aurangabad are contemporary with Ellora and Ajanta, but how much do we know about them? In Devgiri (Aurangabad) our ancestors built twelve stone-cut Buddhist temples on a hill extending from east to west near the city. The hill is also formed from volcanic lava, but experts say the Aurangabad Buddhist caves were excavated from relatively soft basalt rock in the 6th and 7th centuries. The Great Chaitya Cave Inscription of Kanheri Cave mentions Aurangabad Cave. Of the 12 caves, caves numbered 1-6 are named the "Western Group", 7-9 the "Eastern Group" and the three unfinished caves 10-12 the "Northern Cluster". Cave number 4 among them is Chaitya Stupa. The caves hidden in the green hills are beautiful to see from a distance. The architectural styles of the Aurangabad caves include deities and stupas of the Hinayana, Mahayana and Vajrayana architectural styles. In some of the Buddhist caves, you can find statues of several Hindu deities including Durga, Ganesha, as well as numerous Tantric Buddhist deities. When I saw the seven matrika idols in the Vajrayana cave, I first thought they were Hindu idols, but later I heard that they were Tantric Buddhist goddesses.
The caves are not very big in size, a bit dilapidated and maybe neglected as comparatively few tourists visit. Carved in the Sihyachal range, the Aurangabad caves may have been somewhat overshadowed by the influence of the great names of the Ellora and Ajanta cave temples. Although its sculptures are comparable to those of Ajanta and Ellora. The cave temples of Aurangabad, carved between the 6th and 7th centuries, are located about nine kilometers from Aurangabad city centre.
Must visit place along with Ajanta and Ellora caves.

Aurangabad caves are situated just outskirts of the hustling city noise and few kms from mini taj - bibi ka maqbara.
This 12 caves are carved from basalt rocks and it’s divided in 3 sub groups. Among them are some nice chaitya style of caves. Some have nice sculptures of Hindu god and goddesses. Worth to visit. Also you can spot some nice birds here. Closed at 6 pm. So better to start accordingly. It will take more than one hote to explore all caves. Western caves are little higher than others.

Amazing historic landmark very close to the heart of Aurangabad. It is a budhhist cave which is divided into two parts. One can witness amazing arial view of Aurangabad city. Try to visit early in the morning for pleasant atmosphere.

Reaching the caves is difficult. For seeing the caves, one has to do stiff climb on stairs of considerable heights. Very difficult for aged persons. Moreover, there seems to be no or very little care for the artefacts. Most of the caves are dark as neither natural nor artificial lighting exist.

Around 6 KM from Aurangabad Central Bus Stand. There are around 10 caves. 5 caves are in one side and the other 5 caves around a km away. Best time to visit is early in the morning. For caves 1 to 5 need to climb around 70.steps and as you go up the sound of birds welcome you. As is it less touristy compared to Ellora and Ajanta it's the best caves I prefer eventhough it does not have the grandeur of Ajanta or ellora.

The Bibi Ka Maqbara is a mausoleum in Rabia-Ul-Daurani's memory, built by Aurangzeb in the mid 1600s. The building has a striking resemblance to the Taj Mahal and is a beautiful example of Mughal architecture. The carvings on the facade and around the grounds are worth taking note of.
Amazing architecture and a heritage situated so close to City.
Dedicated massive parking space is available which is a plus point.
Some restoration work is going on but it would need some more attention from administration to keep the place maintained.

On a November afternoon, we explored Bibi Ka Maqbara. The pleasant weather added to the enjoyment of our sightseeing experience. Despite the site's rich history, there's a noticeable lack of respect for its heritage, evident in the poor maintenance. Extensive renovations have altered some of its original art, although the interior dome remains a captivating sight. The overall experience would have been more delightful if the water fountains and sprinklers were operational. Fortunately, the entrance tickets are reasonably priced at Rupees 25 for individuals aged 15 and above, while those aged 15 and under can enter for free.

What a beautiful monument and it's well maintained too. Yes there are signs of deterioration which can be fixed but the area is good and accessible.
Best time to visit would be before sunset, so you get to see this with and without lights.
Both the versions are completely different.
Stay there untill it gets dark, and the crowd is very less by 7:30 , so you can get good pictures too.

Five star is just for the monument, which is just a marvellous piece of architecture. ASI has been trying its level best to protect and restore the monument. But it's the people visiting the place that are destroying it by scribbling on walls and damaging walls and doors. Need to do more to protect this historic piece of architecture.

The best time to visit here is after sunset. Because after sunset Bibi ka Maqbara gives a marvelous view as you can see in the images. It was a good experience to visit a historical monument. In day time it looks beautiful but not as good as it looks at night. Entry closes ends at 9pm. Good big paid parking available nearby. Reasonable Entry Fees of Rs.25 and if you are carrying a digital camera then additional Rs.25 for the camera. Mobile shooting is allowed and it's free. Shooting is not allowed inside where the Tomb of Bibi is placed. Nice pleasant place but needs to be maintained regularly. Visit it but don't make it dirty by throwing waste here and there. Use dustbin placed there.

Rabia-ul-Daurani alias Dilras Banu Begum, the wife of the Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb. This construction was in memory of Azam Shah's mother and considered a replica of Taj Mahal.

Historically valued, but not maintained well. Everywhere people feel the need to take dramatic poses and snaps. Kids running around, standing/leaning on parapets. It spoils the entire aura of the place and shows the utter disrespect we Indians, as a society, have for historically significant monuments.

Visited this place on 15th Aug, 2023, i.e. Public Holiday. So there was a huge crowd, really, very heavy crowd, as it was the time of monsoon too.
Important points:
•> There is a huge crowd, primarily compromising of the local peoples, but there is only one ticket counter, and about 500 m long line. Quite disappointing. So it's a good decision to pay online through QR code beside the ticket counter. They give ₹5 discount if paid online. So the ticket which usually costs Rs. 25, costs Rs. 20, and you save time.
•> There are huge parks around, to wonder and spend time with your closed ones. Also the mountains all around give a wholesome vibe. There is a small temple on one of the peak with a big indian flag which looks so damn beautiful.
•> You will not take much time to visit this place completely. It can be completed in 1 hour if you have other plans too. Like visiting the soneri mahal, which is at little distance from this place. Google map can help if you decide to walk.
•> Kindly control your children as the railings on the side of the platform of maqbara is not very strong, so sitting on them is prohibited too. Beware of falling on stairs due to the crowd.
Don't pollute the place kindly. Be responsible and enjoy.

There are some guides available. Don't go for it. Those guys are bluff masters.
When you enter the architecture you'll notice that have the building is made up of marble and half his medical plaster. Try to visit in the evening time. It's more beautiful with light effects.

One can spend good time here at the somewhat look alike of Taj Mahal.
There are no eateries within the premises, so please carry your own but Don't litter the place.

Gardens can be better and so is the pool in the middle which was dry when I visited.
Ample parking available so no worries there.

It's more like the Taj than you'd expect. There are beautiful gardens on all sides - shaded and quiet.
Be sure to get a view of the monument from the back. Not sure if the marble and plaster have stayed whiter or the light hits it differently - but it is even more etheral and beautiful.
Prepare for it to be hot, though some part of the monument itself offers shade at all times of day.
Bibi ka maqbqrq is located within the Aurangabad city area. Popularly it is caleed mini switzerland . Panchakki, also known as the water mill, is a must-see attraction in Aurangabad. This site provides insight into medieval science and technology while offering stunning views of its surroundings. It was built to supply water through underground pipes from a nearby tributary and generate energy to grind grains for pilgrims visiting the Baba Shah Musafir Dargah. Panchakki is a popular destination in Aurangabad, alongside other significant sites.
The Ajanta Caves, dating back to the 2nd and 1st centuries BC, are adorned with intricate designs and religious artwork. These caves are situated along a steep gorge that borders the Waghore River. Among the various caves, five serve as prayer halls while others act as dwellings. While early Buddhist caves represent Buddha through symbols such as footprints and wheels of law, those from around the 5th century AD follow Mahayana practices.
This is one of great tourist site in India. Caves, painting and carvings are simply beautiful. You will feel proud about our ancestors and the marvelous art they have left behind in our reach heritage. One must spend enough time in each of 30 caves to understand beauty of the place. In rainy season this might be on top of natural Beauty. Planning to visit in next August or September.

Cave 2, adjacent to Cave 1, is known for the paintings that have been preserved on its walls, ceilings, and pillars. It looks similar to Cave 1 and is in a better state of preservation. This cave is best known for its feminine focus, intricate rock carvings and paint artwork yet it is incomplete and lacks consistency. One of the 5th-century frescos in this cave also shows children at a school, with those in the front rows paying attention to the teacher, while those in the back row are shown distracted and acting.
Cave 2 (35.7 m × 21.6 m) was started in the 460s, but mostly carved between 475 and 477 CE, probably sponsored and influenced by a woman closely related to emperor Harisena. It has a porch quite different from Cave 1. Even the façade carvings seem to be different. The cave is supported by robust pillars, ornamented with designs. The front porch consists of cells supported by pillared vestibules on both ends.
The hall has four colonnades which are supporting the ceiling and surrounding a square in the center of the hall. Each arm or colonnade of the square is parallel to the respective walls of the hall, making an aisle in between. The colonnades have rock-beams above and below them. The capitals are carved and painted with various decorative themes that include ornamental, human, animal, vegetative, and semi-divine motifs. Major carvings include that of goddess Hariti. She is a Buddhist deity who originally was the demoness of smallpox and a child eater, who the Buddha converted into a guardian goddess of fertility, easy child birth and one who protects babies.
The paintings on the ceilings and walls of Cave 2 have been widely published. They depict the Hamsa, Vidhurapandita, Ruru, Kshanti Jataka tales and the Purna Avadhana. Other frescos show the miracle of Sravasti, Ashtabhaya Avalokitesvara and the dream of Maya. Just as the stories illustrated in cave 1 emphasise kingship, those in cave 2 show many noble and powerful women in prominent roles, leading to suggestions that the patron was an unknown woman. The porch's rear wall has a doorway in the center, which allows entrance to the hall. On either side of the door is a square-shaped window to brighten the interior.

Ajanta Caves is located about 100 km away from Aurangabad. The road is good and you reach the parking where you have to pay Rs 50/- as parking charge and Rs 15/- per head as amenities charge.
From the parking, a bus takes you to the caves where you are charged per head Rs 30/- for A/c and Rs 25/- for regular.
The ticket window to the caves charges Rs 40/- per head and camera is free. Here, you are checked and then can proceed to the caves. There is a cafeteria and also clean restrooms.
There are steps and a ramp to the caves and even a chair lift available(charged extra) for those who can not climb.
The caves are very well maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India and mostly are temperature controlled. It is advisable to wear easy to remove footwear as nearly in all caves foot wear has to be removed. The paintings are preserved and advisable to have a book explaining which cave has what.
Guide railings are there, and attendants are there for each cave.

Lonar Lake has a wonderful story behind its beauty! Around 52,000 years ago, a meteor weighing about two million tons, through space at an estimated speed of 90K km/h crashed into the earth creating a magnificent trough. Wonderful view, this is a very rare occasion, one must definitely visit!

Nice one day trek both ways up to the base of the lake and back. The lake itself is a natural wonder of the world - the largest crater lake and the largest crater from basalt rock. There are fresh water streams around the salt water lake with no explanations of their origin. Great old architecture mandirs dot around the lake. The flora and fauna around the lake are special as well as they form their own closed ecosystem.

Lonar Lake is one of the best sites to visit in Maharashtra and you can call it one of the wonders of India. Lonar is one of the lakes in the world formed due to the impact of a meteoroid on the Earth which is also known as the mysterious lake due to the various facts.
To reach Lonar Lake the nearest railway station is Jalna and from there, it is around 2 hours from the bus where the bus frequency is very limited from Jalna bus stand.
To reach the water level of the lake one has to hike a lot which depends on the speed and pace of the hike, it took around 45 minutes to reach the water level. The hike is kind of tiring and carry enough amount of water along with you.
At one entrance, you have to pay 40₹ per person for an entry ticket. If you are travelling solo either hire a guide or walk along with a group of people as the way downstairs is a jungle area and leopard and monitor lizards are often spotted here. I was walking alone and at one point a group of monkeys tried to attack me, thank god to the group of three who were walking a few meters behind me otherwise it would have been a horrifying situation for me.
The way is smooth and you can see ample temples and ruins on the way even you can find signboards showing the way to the lake.
I think the Maharashtra government should take some measures to protect this national geo world heritage site, I could see thrash everywhere on the path.
Overall it was an amazing experience visiting this mysterious lake.

Amazing place. Lonar crater lake has its own ecosystem. One should read its history before visiting this place. Although the crater's age was previously estimated to be 51,000 years, newer studies suggest an age of 556,000 years.

Lovely place. One of its kind on Earth. To visit the lake one needs to hike down from Gomukh temple and walk the forest trail. There are ruins of various ancient temples on the perimeter of the lake. Lake itself has mesmerizing history. Having a guide with you while visiting the lake is useful.

Lonar Lake has a captivating story!! Around 52,000 years ago, a meteor weighing about two million tons hurtled through space at an estimated speed of 90,000 kmph and crashed into the earth creating a magnificent trough. To visit, one has to hike down 2-3 kilometres which will take 2-2.5 hours approx. Carry your water bottles as it would be very exhausting. But after reaching view is breathtaking. Entry ticket is 30 Rs per person.

Title: Enthralling Experience at Lonar Lake
Lonar Lake is an absolute must-visit destination. The trek is easy, and hiring Saurabh as our guide enhanced our experience exponentially. His insightful narration about the place, coupled with demonstrations using litmus paper and magnets, added depth to our understanding. The up-close view of the lake was mesmerizing, followed by a scenic drive around it from various viewpoints.

Lonar lake is a ASI protected site and one of the 4 lakes in the world that were created by a meteorite. To reach the lake you have to walk down around 3 kms and a forest entry charge of INR 40 is taken. It is a must visit since the Lake is beautiful and has a lot of different qualities. Early mornings are good for bird watching. The lake is said to be more than 50000 years old.
It is not so famous yet but has its own natural beauty. There are old Hindu temples around Lonar also that one can include in their itinerary.

Place is wonderful. I liked it very much. But there are few things which they should improve.
1. We are wearing mask as a safety precaution. But unfortunately, people of this place are forcing us to remove mask.
2. We went to Lunger very 1st time. Thank you for the food they offered. But in the end , women's feeding is roti and daal are forcing us to finish some chutney type daal . We told them that we are not able to finish at the moment but then they are cursing use and using bad words towards us. They literally calling us that we are eating someones part. This kind of behaviour is surprising to us.

Great experience, only thing is gurudwara staff have become rude and arrogant these days!
Been visiting gurudwaras all my life, always felt welcomed but recently all the gurudwara people have changed their behaviour, I wonder why. Saddened by it.
Madhav Mehra — Google review
The gurudwara is so clean! The whole atmosphere is serene and quiet, and quite devotional. Everyone is courteous, and everyone is welcome - as long as you're respectful and not being rowdy.
Two points to remember for the visitors:
1. They don't allow you in with shorts /bermudas. Full, respectable clothing is required, with a covered head.
2. They don't allow masks inside. That was a little concerning, but it's a question of religion, so okay. Nevertheless, ample social distancing was maintained, and top notch cleanliness was seen, so on the whole, we were not very worried about coronavirus, inside.
Good parking space is available, and a whole line of shops for random, spur of the moment shopping.
Absolutely worth visiting, if you're in Nanded.

Takhat Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchal Nagar Sahib is a magnificent Sikh pilgrimage site located in the heart of Nanded, Maharashtra. The site is one of the five takhts (thrones) of the Sikh religion, and is considered to be one of the most sacred places for Sikhs around the world.
As soon as I entered the premises, I was struck by the incredible beauty of the architecture and the peaceful atmosphere that surrounded me. The glistening gold and white exterior of the Takhat was absolutely breathtaking, and the intricate carvings and design details were a testament to the skill and craftsmanship of the artisans who created it.
The site is steeped in history and spirituality, and I was moved by the powerful sense of reverence and devotion that permeated the air. The highlight of my visit was the darshan of the holy Guru Granth Sahib, the religious text of the Sikhs, which is housed within the premises.
The staff at Takhat Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchal Nagar Sahib were friendly and welcoming, and were always available to answer any questions I had about the site and its significance. The site also offers various amenities, such as a langar hall where visitors can enjoy a free meal, and a guest house for those who wish to stay overnight.
Overall, my experience at Takhat Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchal Nagar Sahib was truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend this site to anyone who is interested in Sikhism, history, or spirituality. Whether you are a devout Sikh or simply a curious traveler, a visit to Takhat Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchal Nagar Sahib is an absolute must.

Also in temple boards are written only in Telugu.. so it's difficult for non Telugu people to understand...

The 15th-century Bidar Fort, renowned for its Islamic monuments and water-supply system, is a historic fortress located in South India. It was once the administrative capital of much of the region and is now known for its impressive size and triple moat made from solid red rock. The fort's entrance, which leads through three gateways in an elaborate chicane, gives it a fairy-tale appearance.
We planned a one day trip from Hyderabad. It is just about 140 kilometers away from Hyderabad. This amazing fort was rebuilt and renovated by Bahmani dynasty ruler Ahmad Shah 1. This is an wonderful place to explore. Don't be in a rush, take your time and enjoy the beauty of this place. You need to walk a lot to see every corner of this fort, so better to carry water and dry foods with you.

Plenty of 2 wheelers were allowed inside including Autos as well till the temple area. There is a Hindu temple in one of the corner areas of the fort.
Local authorities or ASI should concentrate on improving the facilities here & maintain it in a proper state.

Bidar fort is a huge place with many remarkably well maintained structures. Exploring the entire fort will take 2-3 hours, and you can explore most of the ramparts, walls and old buildings. Many of the more prominent buildings are in ruins and have restricted access, but the real fun is in exploring the other parts of the fort. Ensure to carry lot of water as the place is huge and has limited shade, and can get hot on sunny days. Security personnel won’t allow DSLR or video cameras but your phone camera is allowed at most paces with the exception of the museum, photography is not allowed in the museum. Plastics aren’t allowed into the fort, and the place is relatively clean. If only there was a guide who could provide insights then the experience would be even better.

Good fort area, no major surveillance: though it is a restricted sight from the Archeological survey of India. People are able to utilise the internal roads of the fort.
People can do whatever they want to.
Keeping a minimal ticket cost would avoid those disturbances away.
Very vast place with minimal information, maybe a walk through video link will help understanding the greatness of the fort well.

One of the best historic place we can plan 1 day trip from Hyderabad. It took us around 2 and half hrs to reach the place.Entry is free. This fort has different buildings(mahals),mosque, garden, gateways.Carry some caps if you are travelling with kids.
Parking is free.

About my recent visit to Bidar Fort. It's a fort which is maintained properly. Fort is picturesque especially for the photography enthusiasts. The premises are neat and clean. A separate parking facility is available. I visited on a Saturday and didn't find any huge rush. There were school excursions for a short span of time. But it didn't affect much. It is a must visit place. Mine was a bike trip from Hyderabad.

Amazing experience visiting a 600 year old fort. Informational and a well-maintained place with proper security and sign boards everywhere. There is enough parking space. All this, yet it's free

Nice experience from the top view point. Peaceful place. Good place for trekking no straight road only we need to climb mountains to see view point. Recommended to also visit Kothapalli reservoir nearby for boating.

This beautiful hill and coffee plantations are polluted with plastic and garbage. Wish the government and people can keep it clean.

Not Bad and Not Good Either...
Only Two Mountain View Points which are okay and one mountain tower to get the best view and the best part is you have to pay 10 Rs to climb the tower for each person.. there is no direction Mark to help you guide through.
There are no shops restaurants and no toilets available nearby.Even the ticket counter is not built.
Recommended to visit Only in Rainy Season.

Medium sized hill area, close within Hyderabad city. Good for a one day travel and return. Visit points are Temple, hill view and elevated plain area with mild forest. Nothing much to see. Just good for outing. There are a lot of agricultural fields on the way. Parking available. Negetive side is there are no restaurants upside. Temple has a small market area.

This is a good sunrise and sunset point. If the weather is good, then the trail is awesome. Avoid between 12 to 4 PM in summer. Parking and trekking tickets are there.
