The service and the ambiance is excellent. The garlic butter shrimp, the house wine and their olive oil were fabulous. The fish soup could have been better.

Atmosphere was nice. Ordered zucchini and we loved it so much. Caciki was fantastic. The rest was okay. The service personel was a bit nervous. But they helped anyway. Recommend

Best restaurant in Kokkari. We tried 8 different restaurants during our time in Kokkari but kept coming back to Meltemi. Awesome seating right on the beach, excellent food (especially their fresh fish) and great and polite service. Their fish plate for two could easily feed four so maybe skip some starters if you decide to go for that. Also, since it’s located on the beach: No mosquitoes :)

Delicious food, rich variety of wines and other drinks, professional and friendly staff ... I definitely recommend you visit the restaurant when you come to Kokkari.

The staff was not nice almost seemed that we were being given as a favor to eat there. It created a bad experience by itself The fish was good however the salad had undisclosed ingredients that we were allergic to. My husband and I ate here and the food was quite good but eventually, we noticed that the people sitting a little away from us. Were treated quite badly by the people who worked at the restaurant. ... i must say, it's a disappointing to see people being treated that way.

So it's just a classical tourist point of a famous Greek island. Also, to be honest, when I read the comments about racist behaviour of the owner, I though people exaggerate somehow. But I experienced the same and understood why people wrote those words. The waiters are lovely young boys, but when (probably) the owner heard my nationality he literally changed his face haha. No one cares about your racist opinions, we just want to eat nice food during our holiday. Which is another topic, the food was average to me, as a person who knows well the local Greek cuisine and fried zucchini was too oily, which is the only important part of that plate already. Overall, not again.

I really love this place. You can easily find typically Greek cuisine here. Near to sea, you can enjoy your food and drink. It is crowded place, go there before 20.30.

Really nice place to sit. Windy. The food is good. We had beef stifado and prawn souvlaki, both were really nice. They have also enough waiters, and they are friendly and will do everything for you. The only thing is but this is in every restaurant, they take your order for drinks at the same time when you order your dinner or lunch. I would serve the drinks first and than when ordering dinner go for the second round. Win win. We would go back to here.

The food was great with a good value for money. One of the best service we experienced in Greece so far. The house offered us the dessert at the end of the diner as well. I would recommend to make a reservation, the tables in front of the sea are adding a big plus to the diner.

We wanted to find out best restaurant on Samos island and I think we find it. Meltemi taverna satisfied us in all ways - classic greek cuisine, seafood, home wine. We had seafood fish plate for two. I cannot imagine 2 people who can handle it. I think it is portion at least for four:-) service perfect, near the sea, it was a little bit loud, but we enjoyed it very much. Edit. We came back here once again. And we had typical greek food, I can recommend it. It was also delicious. So not only excellent tavern with fish or seafood, but also excelent greek cuisine.

We had lunch at Meltemi and were satisfied with everything we ordered. As a plus the staff was very friendly and the food arrived quite fast.

Great dining experience at Meltemi. I had the fresh red snapper which was grilled to perfection. Prawns were also good. Boys ordered Greek meatballs that were also tasty. Service was impeccable.

When you are in Kokkari, go and eat at Poseidon! Great food and great hosts, top lactation on the port. This year they have a beautiful new terrace, new chairs and tables and the food is still fantastic as always.

Fantastic service, truly beautiful food. The lamb kofta melted in my mouth and my wife just kept muttering mmm with each mouthful of her fresh sea food. The restaurant is right on the sea front but sometimes the sea can get a little lively and splash in uninvited over the first row. It all adds to the entertainment. I'd recommend this place as the single best place to eat on Samos. Superb.

The most amazing family owned restaurant. They are genuinely the nicest hosts. To top it off, their food was amazing. We had the vegetable soup, feta cheese pie, squid and swordfish skewer. Everything was delicious and I’d definitely love to come back someday.

We spent two weeks in Samos this year and we were based in Kokkari. We had dinners in other places, but the cooking was so good in Poseidon Restaurant, that we ended up in spending most of our evening there. The food is superb and one can find almost any traditional Greek recipes. The service is excellent and available in various languages. Definitely, the right place to eat an evening meal and relax in front of the sea.

The hotel and restaurant is run by an amazing family! They are very kind and the service is thumbs up. The menu is terrific! There is a lot to choose, so we ate here three times. Also; very child friendly! 10/10 recommend!

The Paris restaurant is located above the road, it has a wonderful view of the Aegean Sea, a nice atmosphere, a variety of fish and meat and Greek cuisine, wine and vegetables of their own production!!

Nice beach, spacious, with fine sand, suitable for children and adults who enjoy "safe" swimming . Rent an umbrella+ sunbeds and/or have a snack/drinks .

Gorgeous beach! Shallow and perfect for small children. Blue sunbeds are free with order from hotel bar which is brought to your sunbed. What's not to love! We'll definitely return and would highly recommend. Can be difficult to find parking at busy times.

Restaurant a little outside the center. Sushi is worth it. The main dishes are tasty! Ocean View. Definitely visit this restaurant if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Pythagorion. Recommended.

This place is the definition of fine dining. It offers quality, service and atmosphere that you won't find in other restaurant in the WHOLE island. The food here is crazy!!Staff very helpful and always smiling. Had a decent list of wines to pick and actually only the best ones.I had the rib eye (medium cooked as I asked) and it literally melted in your mouth. Husband's smoked steak was the best he ever had! We also had the shrimp sevitse and one that left us speechless was the kalamari with basil pesto. Kids had bao buns and they gave them drawings to color until food was ready, which was thoughtful. On Fridays they have Asian menu and some days they have people playing blues or jazz. We definitely going back to try the rest of the menu. The owner Giorgos (or George) is experienced and turned the whole place in a small dining diamond and last but not least our compliments to the chef!!If you are in Samos you MUST eat at Lakis.

Tried it on sushi night ,Friday. Not familiar to these tastes. The salad and the chicken were very tasty. The rest were nothing special to be mentioned. The service was transmitting stress. The music was unsuitable. Prices were high and we never got the receipt with the bill..

We had a Greek salad, butter beans, eggplant with tomato sauce and feta in the oven, veal with tomato sauce slowly cooked served with rice. Everything was delicious!!!! Really well cooked! Grandma (yiayia) style. The young lady who served us was very kind and friendly! The location of the family-run taverna is magnificent, under a leafy tree. Highly recommended!

One of the most incredible restaurants we've visited. The atmosphere is like we're in a dream. The food was also very very delicious. Be careful about the road. It's the steepest and narrowest road I've driven. Google put us on the wrong road since it was supposed to be slightly shorter. Take the longer one

Beautiful courtyard with blue chairs and lots of greens. Friendly staff, big selection of greek food, looks delicious and tastes delicious as well! The portions are very big, be careful 😄 Gets quite busy close to dinner time, so I would recommend to book a table in advance. Personally recommend to vegetarians - tomatoes filled with rice. Beautiful spot! Don't miss it if you're in the neighbourhood!

If you will jump in there on such an evening of great chaos like we did, you will never forget it. At the end the waiters started sirtaki that lasted into the night, but our scooter was waiting for a long ride... When and how this end ended, we will never know...

Nice little square in the old Village. Take a walk to the old church/monastry up the hill or by car, it is a steep walk, the church inside the monastry is so beautiful! Only had a drink at the square

Very good small village and lovely atmosphere. Although reaching requires some driving in the hill and the forest, final is really good. By the way be careful on google map navigation. It took us in the middle of nowhere, taken into another village and then into forest with single car only passing road then terrifyng leaf covered (no one has passed before) type of road. Had to come back and look for alternate road. Result is very good. Highly recommend white wine (home made) which has high alcohol (similar to liquer). Go and try it if you are at Samos.
