Shopping mall
Shopping
Shangri-La Plaza is a well-maintained and cozy shopping destination in Quezon City, Manila. The mall offers a pleasant and safe environment for visitors to walk around, shop, dine, and run errands. It features various shops and dining options, making it an ideal place for both regular shoppers and passersby. Additionally, the mall provides clean comfort rooms with hand soap and tissue in every cubicle.
Although it has been in business for more than a decade now, it still does not lose it luster. Rustan's is still a good place to go. There are still good old luxury brands found here.

One of those go to place when you don't want that usually crowded kind of mall. Elegant and there's a lot of high end brands. Plus their cinema is also good as well. They also cater to Chinese and Japanese films festival so not only local but they support these international film festivals as well.
BrianChinito89 TV — Google review
Mall connected directly (shaded) to the Shangri-la Hotel. Given that there was rain (typhoon) the whole of last week, this shaded walkway was very useful. Closes at 9 PM sharp. Good food options.

This place is a supermarket. The size is just enough to accommodate the necessary stores, eateries, cafe, fast food chains, groceries, and others. The place is very aesthetic, well ventilated, and luxuriously looking. You can also buy all your needs here and at the same time enjoy with your family with the cinema that they have. It is also near the terminals so the transportation is not a problem going here and going home from here. Overall, this place is recommended.
Jomari Barde — Google review
Upon entering the mall, you need to present your vaccination card and id. QR Code is needed, Valtrace (Valenzuela) is accepted here. On a regular day, the mall is not crowded at all. Wear your face mask properly.

One of the older malls in the metro but packs up with high-end brands and wide range of restaurants to choose from. Not your typical mall as this had a very different layout, very spacious and lots of options to go around. They have a new East Wing opened up and it adds up to the wow experience.
Efren Zoleta — Google review
Huge and wide mall, and definitely elegant from outside to inside. Staffs from the frontline were polite. The escalators were long, and as you went up you will see every stall of every floor of the building. From this quite big, this is a busy mall, lots of people but not crowded. Restaurants were full and most of have a cut off order before the closing of the mall. This is a 10-15min walk from where we stay.

Great place to hang out, especially on weekends. They open a new wing for additional restaurants to serve you more. They had a balance of stores and restaurants. Visit them now

It's a big mall, and can get a bit confusing, but this place is especially good for homeware. They also have some of the best Christmas decorations in stock.

A higher end mall and not as crowded as other malls in the area. It has a wide range of restaurants and shops to choose from, and it's also elegant in design. Seasonal events are also held here such as Halloween, Easter events and many people participate. It's a great mall overall.

We celebrated my father-in-law's birthday and had lunch at Modern Shang. The place was a bit busy but not too crowded there was also an event at that time school choir singing Christmas Carol. It's a great place to shop for high-end brands and at the same time eat in a fancy restaurant after a tiring day of walking and shopping.

Love this place mainly for their pool, because it is toddler-baby friendly. I always love their lobby design. Staff are always helpful and accommodating. 3rd time to book here, will definitely book again. PS. Pahirapan lang lagi sa parking.

A shopping mall located at the intersection of Edsa and Shaw Blvd that offers a wide selection of resto, foreign and other local brand retail shops, cinema and most of all our very own Rustans Department Store and consider as one of the oldest local retail shops that offers a large scale of luxury brand items for almost 70 yrs now.

SM Megamall Building A is a massive, non-air-conditioned mall located in Ortigas, bustling with crowds seeking fake brands, jewelry, and colorful artwork. It is one of the largest malls along EDSA highway sprawled across Pasig City and Mandaluyong City. The mall consists of three interconnected buildings - A & B and the Fashion Mall. Visitors can find hundreds of restaurants, fashion shops, specialty stores, and even a chapel for mass.
I love SM Megamall! They have everything in here! I also love how each month or each celebration, they have their own theme display at the very front when you step in the mall. This month, they had the Easter setup. Love the balloons at the top! You can take pictures there if you wish. I only had one wish: that is to see more directory screens at elevator or escalator points because your feet will hurt if you don't know which way to go to look for the shop you're meaning to visit.

One of the major malls along the busy EDSA highway, SM Megamall is one of the largest malls on the block. This SM Supermall is so vast, it sprawls along Ortigas Center, Pasig City and Mandaluyong City, they say is as big as the Singapore Airport. There are 3 interconnected buildings A & B and the Fashion Mall whose main entrance faces EDSA. There are hundreds of restaurants, fast food and fashion shops, we still come back here for specialty shops, new offerings and the Chapel for mass. Wheelchair accessible from EDSA with ramps at the entrances, and they have their own parking too. Wearing of face masks is still a must and still bring your vaccination cards. Yes, there are more people in malls now. The SM Megamall is now nicely decorated for the holidays 2022 and new mall hours will be posted soon for the Christmas season.
Travelgirls88 — Google review
This is a massive mall, a one stop shop/building of almost everything - it has so many and a wide variety of stores, restaurants, cafes, snack shops, galleries, pop up stalls selling almost anything and everything. One can spend a whole day (or two) browsing or shopping. They also have areas for activities, for people to hang out and have fun such as a skating rink, bowling centre, kiddie places, arcades. It’s easy to get lost in there if you’re not quite familiar with the layout. There are “branches” to the main building that will lead you to even more stores and shops, relatively more quiet areas since the crowds are found at the main “highway” between buildings A & B. There’s a food hall at the basement with many choices. On the upper levels, there are other restaurants as well. There are stalls scattered in entrances, at the centre, on the sides - everywhere! - focusing on specific food specialties like brownies, corn, pastries, etc. Their Christmas decor was big and festive. It inspired shoppers to get their Christmas photos. I saw families and couples and friends use the humongous well lit tree as backdrop for their photos. I went during the Christmas season so there were a lot of people but one could still find pockets of quiet areas outside the main “thoroughfare”. 5 stars because you can find almost anything here. Bathrooms though aren’t exactly clean and orderly but I can imagine with thousand of people using it, it could be an operation in itself. More attention to the bathrooms will greatly improve the malling experience.

I went to this mall a lot of times already, recently just yesterday to watch Spider-Man No Way Home. Staffs are very accomodating, the contact tracing for covid is well organized, and it always blow my mind how big, neat, and very beautiful this mall is. Lalo na nung pagvisit ko dito nung Christmas. Napakaganda ❤️ The statue outside is very unique and the entrance is just awesome. Would love to go here again and again and again.

I always go to this place for a burger snack or pizza. Going home is easy with the bus terminal waiting for you. Different stores to choose from. Navigation around is easy. Love the rocking chair designated for Seniors and PWD.

We had a great time celebrating our Papa's birthday. Bowling was fun and lots of great places to eat, and places to shop in.
myradelosg — Google review
When I say they have everything I mean they have everything and then some. Building a supermarket is far better than building the supermarket there is literally a dichotomy in service, cleanliness, and accessibility. However the main part of them all over the place as a whole is really great there are multiple levels this place is huge it could and potentially has its own ZIP Code. There are more restaurants than one could count there and there are some redundancies in brands and or stores but this brings the prices down because of the competition and it also creates accessibility because if you passed Dunkin’ Donuts on the third floor and now you’re on the fifth floor I don’t wanna go all the way back now and walk another 200 yards then you can just hit up the small micro Dunkin’ Donuts booth which is kind of neat like a small satellite Dunkin’ Donuts. That’s just an example, a lot of different brands have something similar Imt just mentioning Dunkin because that was where we patronized On the most recent visit here. This location has several movie theaters a bowling alley and a very large ice-skating rink so I must give credit that this is a pretty loaded mall. There is a laser tag center and a fine zone on the most top floor and in the basement there’s an entire floor of kids stuff fun zone style times world merry go round and small kitty rides etc. you could potentially spend an entire 8 to 10 hour day here.
Arnold D Isaac — Google review
The place is so big you can easily get lost. But, the good thing is that the security personnel and information desk are very helpful, courteous, and polite. There are many restaurants and shops to choose from.

This is an enormous Mall, located in Ortigas, everything that you wanted it's here! All Bathroom have toilet rolls which is a plus, most of the shopping center doesn't provide any toilet paper. You will be lost walking around on this Mall, very clean and all staff including the security guard from the department store are very helpful. I love walking around specially earlier, when it's reached the peak hours the place are so hectic, jostling with people coming in. Food court are huge but still hardly finding the table to sit on. There's a lot of options anyway, restaurant is a big hit as well. Love this Mall and highly recommended instead going to small one. But mind you theres a lot of SM mall around but this one is my favs amongst all.

We went to several malls in Manila and this was my favorite. It had pretty Christmas decorations, lots of stores, and a massive food court downstairs. We were all able to easily grab things from 2-3 places each as long as one person stayed at our table because those went fast. They even have a vegetarian place!

Loved this mall, great options to shop and eat at. They also have Din Tai Fung here, which was awesome. I love Din Tai Fung in the US and seeing it here was amazing. They have a lot of local food stalls and I tried some of them. Loved the whole experience.

One of the standout features of this mall is its cleanliness. It's impeccably maintained, which makes the shopping experience even more enjoyable. You can explore the racks and aisles without any worries, knowing that everything is neatly organized and tidy. What truly sets this mall apart is the affordability of the clothing. It's a breath of fresh air to find stylish and trendy outfits that don't break the bank. Whether you're looking for casual wear, formal attire, or anything in between, you'll find plenty of options that won't strain your budget.

It's my first time strolling in mall with my wife and our baby. We enjoy it because we got to rent a stroller for our baby, that is very convenient for us because we don't have any stroller yet. Also, there are lots of food choices here, and we got our cravings satisfied. Surely I will go back with my family to spend time again with each other. Thank you SM.

Yes you can find anything you needed. However, I think it is too populated. If you are looking for place to hang out with family or friends but still wanted a bit privacy, this place is not what you are looking for. On the other hand, I think that this mall is still the best shopping mall for all ages, social class, gender, race, and color. You won't feel intimidated by this place but I am sure that you will enjoy it here more. Overall, this place is definitely convenient.

Flea & Street Markets
The night market in Greenfield is a great place to explore affordable food options and hang out with friends. There are hundreds of stalls selling everything from street food to specialties, and it's always buzzing with activity. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is fun and festive. It's an easy place to find, even if you're not familiar with the area. Plus, it's dog-friendly!
They are so back and this time with a lot of food choices. I always order fresh fruit drinks in one of the stalls. I forgot to take a photo 😂 but you will be able to tell which one if you see people in queue 😂. They have also rearranged the tables in order to follow safety protocols.

A very beautiful place 🥰 touches me every weekend market🥹. The food is also delicious! Recommend Korean food and Indian fried rice😋! I buy a large glass of juice every time🍹! It really matches the food❤️.
ZIXUAN WANG (Jessica) — Google review
A place for some small businesses to showcase their products (mostly foods). The schedule is somehow unpredictable, like some weekend it'll be crowded, holidays in weekdays (Mon-Thurs) it'll only have few stores. Food choices range from street foods (ihaw/bbq, fried on sticks, shawarma, takoyaki) to some specialties (korean foods, wings, lechon, ilocos empanada, etc ) Fruit juices, smoothies, and ice scramble are available too. It's a good place to hangout, to satisfy street food cravings, or place to rest after going to malls.
Brenz R — Google review
I keep forgetting to take photos of the food, but I'll take some next time! For now, I wanna point out that this is a great place to chill and forget about the hustle and bustle of the city. I recommend the vegetarian fried noodles, fresh spring rolls, and iced Vietnamese coffee at So Mot, the avocado drink at any of the juice stalls, and the Takoyaki at the food trucks. If you're a weirdo like me, I recommend checking out what I call The Lampost Graveyard at the back of the parking lot (pictured). They're so big and scary - like if they fell on you, bye. Good thing they're resting now and can't hurt anyone anymore. Finally, if you lost a sandal here some time in early March 2023, that sandal might still be at the parking lot (pictured). 🤭 UPDATE: I added more photos and videos!

Food tripping at the Greenfield Weekend Market has taken the fever to another level. It has developed a rightful reputation among foodies for its offerings that cannot be found anywhere else in the city. And with its additional retails stalls that showcase everything from vintage fashion to artworks, plus live band performances, kids have all reasons to stay after eating and make the market their perfect weekend hangout place well into midnight.

This is one of the best community spaces we need in NCR. Families, friends and fur parents gather here to take a break from hectic way of life. It is like an oasis in the dessert. The weekend market opens only on Saturday and Sunday. Live bands are sometimes fun and sometimes mediocre. But it’s fine. You will feel sense of community in this part of metro manila. My favorite food here is the Chicken Biryani 160 php for Solo order.

San Felipe Neri Parish Church in Poblacion, Mandaluyong City is a historical sanctuary amidst the city's modernity. It stands as a testament to the area's spiritual heritage and offers solace from urban hustle. Despite its location on busy streets, it remains a peaceful place of worship with a grotto devotion area for Jesus Christ near the entrance. The church is spacious, equipped with amenities like TV streaming, and has a large parking lot suitable for events like weddings.

One of the oldest Church in Mandaluyong, situated in the traffic-prone busy streets of Boni Avenue, near Aglipay St. The entrance road is a little bumpy, and may easily crowded even weekdays. There is a grotto devotion area for Jesus Christ situated near the entrance/exit gate, where you can buy candles from the nearest vendor, and lit in the designated area of the grotto. Color candles at P4.00 each, has designated symbol of petition, provided in the peddlers. There is no problem with encashing money, since two ATMs, one is the BDO and PNB, available online. At the back of the Church is the crypt, consisting of columbaries used to store urns fron cremated remains of departed love ones.

French restaurant
Duck & Buvette, along with Apero, is owned by Chef Jacq Tan and Bryan Chua. They aim to make French cuisine more appealing to Filipinos in a casual and inviting setting. The restaurant prides itself on homemade dishes, from cultivating yeast to curing meats, ensuring top-notch quality. Located in Ortigas, it's perfect for post-work dinners or special occasions.
Duck & Buvette at Shangri-La Mall is not just a dining destination; it's a culinary haven that beckons with its exquisite fusion of French and Mediterranean flavors. With each visit, the experience unfolds like a gastronomic symphony. The journey commenced with the Bistro French Onion Soup, a masterpiece that resonated with intense savory notes, possibly derived from premium beef broth and a hint of carefully selected alcohol. The sweet embrace of caramelized onions added depth to an already flavorful broth. Opting for a lighter ensemble, plates of House Marinated Olive & Garlic Confit and Fennel Wild Mushroom with Shrimp graced the table. The Fennel Wild Mushroom plate, a true revelation, delighted with its licorice undertones. The only slight nuance was the shrimp, which, while satisfactory, yearned for the sweetness of the ocean's freshness. The star of the meal, the Cafe Provençal Pizza, painted a Mediterranean masterpiece on the palate. The harmonious dance of capers, anchovies, cheese, tomatoes, and Parma ham brought a symphony of flavors, capturing the essence of both regions flawlessly. A delightful discovery added a new layer to the experience: the acceptance of furry companions in the side area of the restaurant. A testament to the establishment's warmth and inclusivity. The servers, paragons of hospitality, guided the culinary journey with their pleasant demeanor and in-depth knowledge of the menu. As a subtle suggestion, the inclusion of suggested wine pairings could elevate the dining experience, allowing patrons to immerse themselves fully in the marriage of French and Mediterranean cuisines.

French casual dining in a non-snobby atmosphere. Get the famous duck and try all the sides to best complement the dish. Rice is recommended to soak up the jus. Choose any of the fresh greens too to make it lessen your guilt.

We just wanted to try something new and went in with no expectations -- and we came out extremely satisfied! We had the Fennel wild mushroom with shrimp, 8-hour Angus briskets, and Cafe Provencal pizza. Everything was *chef's kiss* We kept doing "mmmm!" with each bite :)) Will definitely go back to try other dishes, especially the Duck Confit, which seems to be a bestseller. The only letdown were the macaron ice cream sandwiches. The macaron was too sweet. It was also crunchy, likely due to already being assembled with the ice cream (which were nicely flavored, but not creamy), so it got frozen and no longer had that delicate chewy quality.

Although located in a mall, Duck & Buvette never disappoints! We always order the Grilled Romaine Salad, Farmer’s French Bean Pasta. This time around we ordered the Pan Fried Halibut which wasn’t that tasty but wasn’t so bad. Don’t forget to order their version of the Creme Brulée! Also service today was less than 3 stars.... maybe better tomorrow.

Tried the Duck Ragu Pappardelle and it was great. Tasted the D&B Crispy Half Duck Confit and my comment is its Not Crispy at all. MAX Fried Chicken was crispier than this.

Probably my favorite restaurant in Shangri La Mall. My all-time fave includes Fennel & sausage pizza, truffle pasta, 50 clove HDP roast chicken, & the roast beef. But its their Angus meatballs that’s a knockout. Order a side of sourdough bread and make a meatball sandwich. Out of this world. And outstanding service from the staff.

1) location/ambiance is okay. 2) seating is not the best. 3) my starter is grano padano with honey has been sitting in the kitchen a few hours, it was completely coloured dark yellow. 4) duck ragu is nice and portion is good. Angus briskets is looking like canteen food but tastes ok. Overall I would give this establishment 3/5 stars. Service was really good and food came quick (maybe it has been sitting there already?) + wine and light were cold and nice. Edit: overpriced, don’t go.

The food here is great! The braised beef was tender. The fish took a longer time to come and we needed to follow up a few times. Great dining experience with family.

We were seated near the pizza oven. Even so, the area was nicely cold. Although, the smell of burnt dough was a little bothersome at times. I had the angus briskets—a bit disappointing because it arrived cold—while my wife had the pork belly. The latter was delicious, being nicely salted and sauced with raspberry and balsamic reduction. Yum.

01MAR2022 HIGHLY RECOMMEND If you are looking for a nice romantic place for your date, then you may want to visit them. Pizza, pasta, cold cuts, and cheese with a nice wine is a sure turn-on for your date. It's also a nice place for a casual but important meeting.

This restaurant is tucked away in a quiet corner of Mandaluyong. Parking may prove to be challenging so just park in a nearby side street or ask a restaurant attendant for help on where to park. The food here was comforting and portions were just right. The pasta was made of quality ingredients but taste wise leans on the richer/creamier side. The pizza meats were of quality as well but the cheese was too much. The calamari was cooked well but the skin was difficult to cut at times. If you come here, try the cheese wheel pasta!

Loved the food, the service and the wine. The place is cozy. A warm place for a quiet dinner with friends or a date.

We drank sangria while we feasted on pizza, pasta, and chicken main dish we ordered. The food was average at best considering the price point of their offerings. Despite being lit with numerous Christmas lights, the interior feels gloomy and cramped. I am not quite sure if they are going for a moody atmosphere inside or the lighting placements are not exactly ideal.

Get the minestrone soup! We all loved this place. Delicious hearty food & everything we had was great. They didn’t miss & for the portions + prices, it’s such a steal. Only downside is their wooden benches are not comfy at all. Our favorites were the classic minestrone, cotoletta ala milanese, frutti di mare, and prosciutto arugula pizza.

Staff were accommodating and attentive. Food was superb! I loved their bolognese and tutta carne pizza! ❤️ Great ambiance, too!
Christine Dela Pe?a — Google review
The food is okay and the ambiance is warm, cozy, and romantic, like you're dining inside a wine cellar. The staff are friendly and sufficient in number as there are just a few tables to wait on. The deli items on display contain a range of cheeses and meats you can use to build your own charcuterie boards. Customers can also buy charcuterie sets to go for parties or gatherings at home.

Attended a birthday party here pre pandemic and came back today to try the cacio e pepe cheese wheel and was very disappointed. The evoo overpowered the dish and pasta was undercooked. There were clumps. So maybe they started cooking it and then added additional noodles so some were al dente and others under. It was unpleasant for me so I stopped after a few bites. Calamari was good.

Very nice and cozy place. The walls and panels make for a bit of privacy. the food was flavorful. the wines were nice! They also didn’t complain even if we left an hour past closing time 😅

Had dinner here last 16 December. The restaurant was quite busy, we were advised to be at the restaurant by 8pm for our reservation. We were finally seated after 36-36 minutes even though a few minutes prior there were tables already available. The complimentary bread was really very good. The insalata caprese was just okay, I wish it was plated more traditionally. The shredded basil leaves kind of overpowered it instead of the usual individual leaf per slice of mozzarella and tomato. Pizza was great, and the penne pasta with porcini was excellent! The chicken I had was good though I would’ve preferred the sauce to be less and slightly thicker. Also, our antipasti plate of cheese and cold cuts arrived midway through the meal even though it was one of our first orders. For the tiramisu the top layer with the ladyfingers was a bit dry for my taste. But the bottom half was really good. Overall a decent place to dine and get Italian food plus some Italian and Spanish wines and pantry staples.

Food was really great!!! The taste justifies the price. Idk if we ordered a lot for two people but I just had one pizza and a bit of pasta and I was already full 😭 Overall, so goooood.

This is a place I have been going to for the past 15 years. Where do I begin? First off, the ambiance takes you away from the hustle and bustle of Mandaluyong to what I imagine to be a wine cellar in the provinces of Italy. Alcoves, nooks, crannies - all decently lit - provide a different dining experience with each visit. The tables are wood grain meant to resemble a cellar slab and the wood benches give that feel of rustic ardor. Each wall of the alcoves are lined with wine bottles and various food items that you would find in an Italian wine cellar. Service. What can I say? For the 15 years we have been coming here, the staff are all extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable - not just on the menu items, but also the decent wine list they have. They are more than happy to suggest a wine that complements your meal but also fits whatever budget you have. Food. All I can say is that all of the items on the menu are meticulously prepared and carry a taste that matches the abovementioned raves. You can't go wrong here - pick anything and it will turn out great. From appetizers, to their cheese and cold cuts slabs, soups, salads, pastas and main course...everything is great! I rarely give a 5 star review, but this place most definitely deserves it. PS. Not too many pictures of the food. I took pictures of the place more so that you will go and see/taste the food yourself.

My visit to Galileo Enoteca was a foray into a rustic culinary haven. Our group decided on an ambitious spread: tartufo, frutti di mare, osso buco, prosciutto pizza, Pollo, and an assortment of cold cuts paired with manchego and pecorino cheeses, which we handpicked. The quality of the food was nothing short of excellent. Each dish, from the pasta to the osso buco, boasted tomatoes and herbs that melded into a harmonious blend of savory and umami flavors. Wine enthusiasts would find themselves at home here, with an extensive selection that caters to various palates and preferences. The pairing of food with wine was an adventure in itself, guided by knowledgeable staff. The ambiance of Galileo Enoteca adds to the overall charm of the dining experience. The rustic setting, highlighted by wooden decor and dim lighting, creates a cozy and intimate atmosphere that encourages leisurely dining and conversation. In conclusion, Galileo Enoteca is a gem worth exploring, especially for those who appreciate the finer points of Italian cuisine set against a backdrop of rustic elegance. It’s a dining experience that invites you to linger, savor, and indulge.

I checked with the restaurant to make sure there will be cheese wheel available on the day I reserve, but when I arrive, they said it will only be available next week, obviously they didn’t care to inform me about the change of availability of cheese wheel, although I specifically asked for it upon reservation, and they didn’t handle the apology well, firstly someone came and told me he will still serve the cheese wheel pasta just for me, then another one came to inform me that they are still unable to provide it, and at the end of the meal, they gave me a Tiramisu as apology, but it was made of sponge cake which is no where near an authentic Italian Tiramisu. Furthermore, when we asked for the bill, the waitress forgot about it, we waited for more than 10mins then asked again, and finally got it. Pasta and risotto was good, but nothing exceed expectation.

Authentic Italian food in the Philippines? Yes! I'm not a huge fan of Italian food. But my wife is. So, happy wife, happy life. With that said, this establishment was a pleasant surprise. Their coffee is amazing. A perfect Americano. All the other dishes were exceptional. But the absolute highlight was the service. I'm flabbergasted at the level of service here in the Philippines. These people take pride in their work. Very friendly, professional, and attentive. The facility itself has so much character. Very pleasant atmosphere. Very clean.

Nikkei Podium is a unique Japanese-Peruvian sushi bar situated in Manila, Philippines. It stands out as the first of its kind in the city, offering a diverse menu that includes sushi, ceviche, tiradito, and Japanese craft spirits. If you're seeking a tranquil haven away from the vibrant atmosphere of Mandaluyong City, Nikkei provides just that with its cozy ambiance and soft lighting.
I really enjoy eating here at Nikkei, Podium. I super lover their Seared Tuna with Sea Urchin Risotto! It’s really good. +++ for service, too! Highly recommended.

Love the ambience but the atmosphere feels like it should have an al fresco area with all the drinks they have on offer. But then again, that’s just me. Nikkei offers the perfect setting if you want to have a suave social gathering with good food and an equally good bar.

It was not my first time here, but my first time to give a review. My experience on my first visit was better than the second. This second time, I treated my team to lunch. However, they, too, were not happy with the taste, service, and price (especially the tiny lobster, which costs platinum!) of the foods we ordered.

Visited night before Valentine's day. Tried to book online but seems that didn't work since they don't have our names on their list. However, i showed my mobile to open the site where I booked, so they gave us a table. Service was superb, special mention to Erick who was attentive to our table all throughout our stay. Love their food - risotto and their sushi rolls. Would love to come back to try the other meals in their menu. Got their aperol spritz on a happy hour. Must try Everything was perfect except their washroom which was a bit dirty and lacking.

Was excited to dine here. Had two meetings here one after the other and got to sample a lot of their food. Salmon sashimi, hamachi were very good. Tender and fresh. The unagi had an earthy like aftertaste. Yet the unagi rolls were good. The 2k steak was overpriced both in quality and quantity. Kurobota was ok. Didn't really taste a whole lot better than good quality pork in my opinion. The Mango sponge type cake was good but had a slightly wet texture to it. The roasted edamame was very unique and addictive. The tuna with risotto was excellent. My favorite dish of the night. My companions frequent the place as a watering hole. Dont really see it that way. Maybe it's just me but I couldn't find anything in the menu to eat while drinking. The shots were fairly priced. At least there was a lot of choices at different price points. Beer selection was adequate. Service was good for the most part. The trainee was very enthusiastic. The regular staff were mulling around the counter with their backs to the customers a whole lot. It was hard to get their attention at times.

This Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant is one of our go to when we go back home to the Philippines. They did not sacrifice the Japanese essence in the restaurant yet they still provide the uniqueness and newness of their cuisine. Their ceviche is a must try for me. Their sushi rolls are also very good and worth trying. They have English on their menu and they accept both local and foreign credit cards.

Highly recommended for those in search of a truly memorable culinary experience. With its impeccable service, delectable food, and warm ambiance, this establishment truly excels in providing a remarkable dining experience. The ambiance, presentation and service are outstanding but the actual food flavors and taste need improvement. The lobster is overcooked so it was rubbery and difficult to cut. It was not worth it. The chicken teriyaki was not cut properly so we couldn't pick it up with our chopsticks. The chahan was too greasy so the grains don't stick and fall off the chopsticks.
May Ramallosa — Google review
Food was delicious especially the Pollo Saltado Donburi really felt like the rice bowl had a lot of variety in the ingredients and amount it has. There’s also a complimentary miso soup that was filled with umami alongside some chips to snack on while waiting for our food (which wasn’t that long ~10min.s) Staff were nice and the whole atmosphere/ambiance of the place was very intimate and cozy. Just wished their seats were higher or closer to the table it wasn’t as comfortable for us to eat due to this. Nonetheless, it was good experience, will definitely look for better seats inside though.

This is a fusion Japanese Peruvian restaurant. If you're looking for conventional Japanese, you'll be disappointed. There are many variations of rolls with different ingredients, including vegan. The sushi selection is limited. Fusion sashimi with South American cheese risotto was very rich and good. The sushi combo was beautiful with really fresh tasting ingredients. The ceviche was very strong in the vinegar and not as much on the lemon or lime, it will catch the average diner by surprise. The unagi don with a poached (not raw) for food safety was excellent. The lychee sake Sangria missed the mark, there's something missing I can't place. Maybe a canned lychee and several mandarin orange segments? Ambiance would have been okay if not for these 3 "jologs" who let their undisciplined children run all around the restaurant screaming. Desserts weren't impressive, so we went next door for Hokkaido ice cream.

Plana's Pantry, a Filipino eatery open from Monday to Sunday with consistent hours of operation from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM, has received positive feedback from customers. The food has been commended for its excellent taste and generous portions at affordable prices, suitable even for sharing between two individuals. Among the dishes tried were Sisig with Laing and Pork Ribs, which left a lasting impression due to the tender pork ribs that effortlessly separated from the bones.
Such a homey vibe filled with food made with love. Their pesto rice is iconic and pairs up nicely with their rice meals. Can't wait to bring my family here.

Cozy and casual palce to eat in the middle of downtown Mandaluyong. Good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The prices are reasonable and the place is always filled with visitors. We tried the spagetthi which comes with bread stuffed with chesse, and it's really good. This is one of our always-go-to restaurants in the neighbourhood.

No music. All calm ☺️ 😌. The food was delicious. Just a little comment for hickory bbq ribs sauce. It was like a premade sauce (IMO). It will be much better if they have their own sauce. But asides from that… all was perfect

A quiet place to chill by yourself. Food has been great and consistent ever since my first time eating here five years ago. Food is expensive but the size of the serving fits the price. For your reference the two ribs pictures are almost a year apart when taken. One was taken last 2023 and the other was last January 2024.

Food tasted great. Huge servings for a small price. Can be eaten by two persons. We ordered Sisig with Laing and Pork Ribs? Can't remember. What I remember is that the pork ribs were so soft they fall off the bones. And there was a strand of hair in our Laing. We also ordered ice cream which was cheap. It was delicious and can compare with other home made ice creams. We got Avocado ice cream and it was the perfect dessert! Would come back if I'm in the area.

One of the older malls in the metro but packs up with high-end brands and wide range of restaurants to choose from. Not your typical mall as this had a very different layout, very spacious and lots of options to go around. They have a new East Wing opened up and it adds up to the wow experience.

If you're craving Greek cuisine, Cyma Greek Taverna at Shangri-La Plaza is the place to go. With four branches and over ten years of experience, they offer a variety of Mediterranean dishes like gyros, baklavas, and falafel. The staff used to shout "OPA" when serving the flaming cheese dish, although it's uncertain if they still do. Their menu includes moussaka and roka salad which are favorites among diners.
Looking for a Greek fix? For Mediterranean food that is--the gyros, the baklavas, the falafel, and so on? Cyma is your best bet. There are only four branches at the moment and Shang is one of them! Yeap, before the PH screamed for oppas in Korean dramas, Cyma's staff has been jolting diners with a loud OPA since more than ten years back! I'm not sure if they still do it though whenever someone orders the flaming cheese dish. My wife possibly knows most of the menu and her comfort food would have to me their moussaka and roka salad. Here's their menu attached as a special treat!

For a change, Greek dinner in Manila. Heard about the tavern but somehow missed it. Cheerful greetings right by the door, attentive service from start to finish. Amazingly, took the time to check for any food allergies. Tried watermelon and feta salad for starters and beef kebab with safron rice, solo version. Satisfying choices and quite generous. Was j satiated and opted out of plan to try their date pudding. All in all a great dinner for php 900.

Cyma is a good consistent option but nothing really stands out about it. The food is well, mid. Good, but not great. I would recommend the roka salata, spinach dip, and porkchop - those are the best things on the menu. We had the steamed clams and they were okay but cooked from frozen. I love porkchop and I finished mine but it’s not the best especially for the price, too sweet and a little tough. The good news is that they’re very dependable.

Recommending this restaurant for salad lovers. I’ve been going on a no rice challenge for myself and just more veggies recently. I went here yesterday in Shangrila Mall and they were serving a lot of healthy options. We ordered these: Cyma Caesar For a solo order, I think two people can share this already. Roka Salata I prefer the dressing they used here compared to the cyma salad. Absolutely love the taste of their Parmesan cheese Besides salads, we also ordered souvlaki beef tenderloin. Definitely a bit on the pricey side but I really enjoyed the taste of it . Not sure if it was the dipping or the oil but super nice 😆 On another note, we arrived there around the afternoon and there wasn’t a lot of people at first but it started getting crowded around 1pm I believe. Service was a bit slow but the food is pretty good and staff were polite. Edit: Forgot to add, we asked for extra grated Parmesan cheese . I think it’s an added fee of 50 pesos if I remember correctly.

Me and my boyfriend dined in at this restaurant and we are literally the only customer they had at that time. We ordered 5 item menu and they just served 2 appetizers and a solo size pasta and forgot about the 2 dishes. There were atleast 6-8 staffs working and I even saw some sleeping on the table. The waiter who took our orders didn't even make sure that our orders were already complete. When I followed up after about 45mins, that's when they found out that the kitchen staff forgot about it. We wanted to cancel the order because we already lost our appetite but they insisted that they're almost done so we just told them that we'll just have them to go. Worst service ever!

The kreatiki bee and chicken serving is SO SMALL that eating at Cyma is a big RIP-OFF! One small slice of ground beef and few pieces of chicken is a HUGE INJUSTICE to Greek cuisine that prides itself with generous servings of meat. This is the EXACT OPPOSITE. I paid more than PhP 709 for this.

Always a good option when it comes to Greek food. Health and safety protocols were in place. Food served was as expected. If I were to make a critical comment, it would be for the Grilled Octopus we ordered. I've had this dish at other branches and this one was relatively tough and dry. The Scallops were a bit salty, but nothing a few drops of lemon couldn't correct. We always come back for the Beef Kalamaki, Beef Tenderloin Souvlaki, and their Stuffed Green Pepper. Those dishes serve as our comfort Greek food.

Cyma Greek Taverna is located at the top level which is level 6 of Shangri-la plaza mall in Ortigas center in Pasig. It's in the middle of a row of restaurants and can easily be missed. The food here is great and tasty. I love their wide selection of salads. The prices have gone up a little over the years though.
