Although place is not too big, but definitely it puts a smile on every fans of this genre (at least to the people when I visitor there). There is a also some short films you can watch here. The souvenir shop was also pretty cool, and staff are very friendly. This place was one the place where the tsunami hits 8 years ago, and today the manga museum is still standing which by itself is pretty amazing.

Don't expect too much, it really is a small place. But for people who grew up with these manga, this is definitely a place to go.

Not everything is in English, and though it was still an interesting introduction to some iconic artists it would likely be better appreciated by people who are familiar with the characters showcased here. Comics fans will also enjoy walking through Ishinomaki and finding statues and art all around the city.

The building interesting and it must have taken a lot of time and effort to set this place up. If you are interested in Manga you will love it - if you are not it maybe a little disappointing.

Naganuma Futopia Park is a beautiful local park that's definitely worth seeing. Little children will be able to ride the big slide and play in the park area. Older children and adults can enjoy the beautiful scenery next to the lake. It's a great place to spend a day and enjoy some nice weather or do some camping.
