(Translated by Google) Autumn Akkeshi Oyster Festival, first visit🦪 It was the weekend, but it was the first thing in the morning, so it wasn't so crowded. If you have time, it would be nice to grill it yourself on a charcoal stand, but unfortunately this time I bought something that was already grilled. Three grilled oysters for 1,000 yen. Well, is that so? It's good to buy, but it may be a little different from the image. Also, delicious things are delicious, but it's a bit disappointing. The oysters I ate before were bigger and tastier. However, it felt good to eat outside, so next time I will bake and drink it myself 🍺 Also, chocolate bananas were sold, so I think it would be fun for families ☺️ (Original)

There are many stalls at the annual oyster festival, and you can easily get raw oysters and grills. You can eat oysters prepared at each restaurant, but you can also grill fresh oysters on a grill you rent or bring. Many people came to the 2022 Autumn Oyster Festival with high expectations for the first time in three years, but the event was shorter than usual and there were fewer stalls, so even if you struggled to get in, raw oysters were out of stock and the grilling tables were empty. There was a shortage of food, and there were long lines to buy grilled oysters and other food. We hope that things will improve in 2023. There is a tiny sign once you get there that says there is no shop or tours. I’d highly suggest changing this title to distribution plant or something as the title now leads you to believe there is a storefront. Since we drove out of our way and wasted time and I can see in reviews this isn’t the first incident like this I’d really recommend making sure the fact that this is a plant only rather than a normal distillery with a tour like what you’d experience in other countries.
