Bread and Chocolate is a charming cafe in the heart of Puerto Viejo that serves up sumptuous breakfasts, light lunch dishes, and mouth-watering desserts. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with just a few tables on an elevated deck off the main road. It's perfect for locals and tourists alike who love to come enjoy some good eats.
When traveling I don't usually eat at the same spot more than once, but I had breakfast at Bread & Chocolate THREE TIMES. Yes, three. The breakfast is that good. I had both the waffles and french toasties and loved both. Other items my family had and loved were the Caribbean pancakes, oatmeal, homemade PB&J and the yogurt/granola bowl. The coffee connoisseurs of my family also raved about the French press coffee. My only regret is I didn't go there for lunch or dessert. A must-visit spot when in Puerto Viejo!

This is a wonderful location, but be prepared to pay tourist prices. You had also better not leave without trying some chocolate! I got the French toast, mocha coffee float and the chocolate cheesecake. Highly recommend.

So amazing! I don’t normally visit the same place in such a short amount of time but I will definitely be back. I ordered the iced salted caramel mocha and the Caribbean jerk chicken sandwich and it was all delicious. I also bought some of the jerk sauce and some of their chocolates. Will be returning to try the mocha cheesecake at least and buy a few gifts for some people at home. Delicious Edit: I went back for the gazpacho and mocha cheesecake and they were both great, don’t miss out on this amazing spot

Bread and chocolate…how can you go wrong?! We had very limited time. They made us fresh ice teas to go. We grabbed several brownies to eat on the bus. Wish we could have stayed longer. Staff was cordial and spoke good English.

The name grabs anyones attention because it surly grabbed mines ! My sister wanted to check this spot out for breakfast so we rode our bikes up and indulged and I’m glad we did . The menu in general didn’t disappoint ! We had the Caribbean coconut pancakes & French toast, everything was super flavorful and fresh which I can always appreciate ! My sister ordered the deconstructed latte where you had to assemble everything yourself from the salted Carmel , cream and all . I ordered an iced salted Carmel latte I couldn’t taste any salted Carmel at all but it was still a good choice or picks . 10/10 recommend for brunch !

Great place. Love their soup, it was a cold soup so it was super refreshing also they have a Jerk chicken sandwich which was amazing. Highly recommend this place. Place is known for bread and chocolate, hence their name so come down for that if not for lunch or breakfast.

Was craving american style breakfast and this place hit the spot! Came here multiple times and it was great each time, bit expensive for the area but I say its worth it to splurge! Staff is awesome and love their butter and jam actually.

A few days before we travelled to Puerto Viejo we met someone who had visited there several times. We asked her if she could recommend any good restaurants, and the first words out of her mouth were “Bread and Chocolate”. It didn’t take us long to figure out why that was her first recommendation. Bread and Chocolate has it going on. Great food (and in the case of the baked goods off-the-charts delicious food), delicious coffees, reasonable prices, and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff who really appreciate your business. While they serve some really delicious sandwiches that make for a satisfying lunch, our meal visits were focused on their amazing breakfasts. A couple of “can’t miss” items here: the Caribbean pancakes with a side of bacon; and, their justifiably famous “Completely Homemade PB&J”. We had very high expectations for both these breakfast classics, and they didn’t disappoint. But, in all honesty, we spent most of our time devouring their amazing desserts, accompanied by various takes on delicious coffee. In the dessert category, top of the list has to be the best Coconut Cream Pie we’ve ever had - anytime, anywhere! But their various chocolate desserts are - not surprisingly - consistently amazing. And don’t miss the Blackberry Cheesecake. We almost did due to our chocolate and coconut cream pie fixation, but thankfully the owner convinced us to try the Blackberry Cheesecake and it was phenomenal. Finally, they rock the coffee game every day. Whether you’re dialed into their hot coffees (we love both their Americano and their French Press), or their decadent iced coffees (the Salted Caramel Cappuccino in particular is just superb!) you can’t go wrong finding a perfect pairing for the scrumptious desserts. Bottom line: we’ve been home for a week and we already miss this place. If you find yourself in Puerto Viejo make sure you find Bread and Chocolate and explore their menu.

I enjoyed a rum and chocolate tasting at another spot in the city and the staff suggested checking out this restaurant. I love chocolate so I was sold based solely on the name! My sister and I rode bikes to this restaurant and arrived a little after 7am on a Saturday. lucky for us there was no wait. There was one guy serving as the greeter and wait staff. There were 3 other tables with patrons upon our arrival . The young man asked us for our order fairly quickly. I opted for the Caribbean pancakes and a deconstructed salted caramel latte. I did add a side of 2 scrambled eggs to get some protein in my meal. My sister ordered the salted chocolate caramel mocha cold drink and the frenchies. The drinks came out first. I love the idea of a deconstructed latte. The expresso came out in the mug and I received a small container of what appeared to be frothed milk and a separate container of caramel. This gives you the option to add as much or little milk and caramel to your drink as you like. My only feedback is that it appeared to be more of a cappuccino than a latte and that the caramel lacked a salted taste. However, the caramel was tasty. Would I order it again, probably not. The food came out within approximately 10-15 minutes. It was clear that the food was cooked to order. The pancakes are worth the hype! They were AMAZING! Every flavor written in the description popped when eating them! I would highly recommend the pancakes. The eggs were just ok. I would not order those again. The total cost of my meal was about $16.00. It’s about the same as eating out for breakfast in the United States. I am going to be honest and admit that I read the reviews and was expecting to be wowed with everything. The only item that I had that wowed me was the pancakes. I suggest giving those a try!

What’s better than bagels for breakfast? Bagels with creamy scrabbled eggs, avocado and bacon! This cafe is brilliant and was only 200m from our accommodation. Opening at 6.30am, it caters for those early birds going to work, to catch a wave, heading out of town on an early bus or perhaps just the locals. At 7am the place was about 50% full. Eyeing off other diners plates to see what was on offer. People were dining on waffles or pancakes or even just toast with butter and jam. Either way, very nice. Oh and ask for a cappuccino iced coffee - d e l i c i o u s! I went here twice and had scrambled eggs with a bagel, avocado and bacon. The second time I had toast with cream cheese and avocado. Both filled me up for a day of activity ahead. A must place for brekkie at a reasonable price. Notes: staff exceptional helpful. Not wheelchair accessible. Toilets were very clean. Vegetarians and vegans catered for. #intrepidtravel #bestofcentralamerica @intrepidtravel #breadandchocolatecostarica #breadandchocolatecafe

Off the beaten path. This is a small restaurant that serves breakfast all day. We had a variety of dishes all of which had good presentation and tasted good. Our sever was very accommodating and friendly. She spoke both English and Spanish which helped us to order our meal. The food was pretty quick to be prepared and served to us. Especially for how busy they were, the level of service was great. Definitely worth stopping in, if you’re looking for a breakfast type of an option.

This place was so good! We came for coffee and breakfast. Our coffee came “deconstructed” as stated on the menu and we thought that was fun lol. My boyfriend had scrambled eggs, toast and potatoes and I had a fried egg and cheese biscuit. Both were really good. We left with some chocolates, granola and 100% cocoa since I forgot to grab some on our chocolate making tour. The service was friendly and probably the best we’ve had in the area.

If this is your first time in PV you need to have breakfast here! Everything is made fresh and with local ingredients! And they have a bakery and homemade chocolate bean to table! Our favorite was the creamy scrambled eggs with their homemade bagel and the Caribbean pancakes 🥞

So, we don't normally eat at the same restaurant more than once when we visit new places. Bread and Chocolate broke our rule. This was hands down our favorite breakfast place in Puerto Viejo. Over two visits, we tried the Patacon Avo Toast, Banana Pancakes, Breakfast Bagel, and the Completely Homemade PB&J. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The only thing I'd pass on next time is the PB&J. It was good, but I sacrificed ordering the BBQ Sammy which I probably would have liked more. They're closed on Monday, so keep that in mind if you're the type to plan every meal. Don't miss out on this spot. It's one of the best breakfasts we've had in Costa rica. Meals have good flavor but way too much unnecessary grease. Meals can still taste really good being natural and light. If you’re one that wants to take care of yourself and avoid extra fat, I wouldn’t recommend this place. As an example, their scrambled eggs are packed with heavy whipping cream. I would suggest checking out Port Vell, as they have good meals but much lighter:)

Koki Beach Restaurant Bar Lounge is a great place to sit and relax with a view of the water's edge in PV. The restaurant has a full bar and a menu that incorporates lots of local organic produce, making it perfect for those looking for an affordable and delicious meal.
Great food and drinks! The portions were huge - the chaufa could feed 4 people. Good atmosphere as well with good music. Saw a super cute resident sloth casually crawling across the ceiling.

Best service we've had in a year of traveling Costa Rica. The food was amazing too, best lobster I've ever had. Our server Andrés attention to detail was above and beyond expectations and every support staff was great too. Thank you for making our night exceptional, a high recommend.

Wow! From the moment I walked in, to the moment I left it was an amazing experience. I was greeted and seated right away. The server, Andres, is very knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations. He went above and beyond to fulfill all my requests. I tried different drinks and each one was delicious! I ordered the Salmon with sweet potatoes and I ate it all! The presentation of the food and drinks, low lighting, trees, and decor work together to create a relaxing and serene ambiance. Definitely is a must try if you are visiting Puerto Viejo! Pura Vida!

Ambiance was nice and loved the decor. Went here for a nice dinner on my last night at Puerto Viejo. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. Prices are higher than other places in the area but I think they are trying to brand this as fine dinning. If you don't mind a slightly higher price point, I'd def recommend it. Try the banana in a box dessert.

My family was in Puerto Viejo over Christmas. We made reservations to have our Christmas dinner at Koki Beach Restaurant. This was the most expensive dinner we had our entire 12 days in Costa Rica, but we did splurge since it was Christmas. I ordered the Christmas special which was a pork chop. I don't usually eat pork but it was very good. My husband ordered the snapper and loved it. One of my kid's ordered chicken tenders, one ordered a stir fry, and one ordered a steak, shrimp, and lobster combo. They all enjoyed their meals. The banana in a box is the best dessert and a must try. The service was friendly. I would eat here again.

I was in Puerto Viejo for a week and this restaurant was the only place I returned to more than once — and that was not JUST for the amazing food and beautiful drinks, but also for their top-tier staff. The bartender, Steven, was a master at his craft and I loved sitting at the bar watching him construct each vibrant cocktail he sent out and he was also so kind. My waiter, Andres, was the main reason I had to come back multiple days in a row; he had impeccable attention to detail, anticipated my needs before I could even think them, and kept me entertained all night with his hilarious personality and conversation. It was the best service I’ve ever received. You simply MUST visit Koki Beach if you are in the area, and make sure you request Andres!!

Churrasco was incredible, as was the Octopus. I'd say food is definitely worth the price. Drink presentation is the best in the area (along with Soca next door), flavor is good, pricey for what they are though considering the area. Chill upscale atmosphere

Wonderful place that we went to twice. If you want to be sure to get in, make a reservation. The prices are high, but totally worth it. We loved our food both times. And their drinks with the sugar cane sticks were on point. Just chew on the sticks to get the sugar water out. 😊

We had an incredible dinner here! Our waiter Andres was excellent and gave great recommendations for dishes to try as well as places to visit in the area. The food was delicious and served in a beautiful setting - plus a sloth even crawled above us while we ate!!!
Emily Stefhon — Google review
Very nice ambiance, attentive and cool staff, amazing cocktails, and good music. As many other reviewers said, a sloth appeared on the roof during the evening (it’s unclear what makes this a regular occurrence and whether that is good for a wild sloth, but it seemed healthy and unfazed by the loud music and crowd of people). The vegetarian offering was very limited, and the vegetable skewers were literally just…. Vegetables on sticks with soy sauce, and salad. No protein or carbs at all! The meat and fish offerings looked much more comprehensive. The chocolate mousse was incredible.

We saw this restaurant and got Tulum or Bali vibes so we had to stop in. They had great music and great food. I enjoyed the Gin and tonic and my husband got the passion fruit cocktail. They were both delicious. For an appetizer we got the Peruvian ceviche. It was sooo good. It came with plantains and paired perfectly. Very tender fish, it was very fresh, and came with accompanied by grilled corn which was delicious. For entrees I got the churrasco and my husband got the surf and turf. My plate was huge. Lots of meat and perfectly crispy potatoes with yummy chimichurri sauce. My husbands surf and turn was a little smaller. With half a lobster and 2 small steak medallions. The service was great until a really big party was sat and then they sort of forgot about us which was a bummer cause we weren't even offered a dessert menu. Prior to the large party arriving there were very attentive and had wonderful recommendations. The only real deal breaker for me were the prices. It was Tulum/Vegas prices and we spent over $160usd on 2 entrees, 1 app, and 2 cocktails. I would still recommend this place and would go back but maybe just for an app and drinks.

We stopped by a couple of times during our trip, including for a special birthday dinner. It has a trendy vibe and offers top-notch food and service. The dishes were delicious, the drinks well-crafted, and the service attentive. The owner even took the time to stop by our table and chat with us at the bar, adding a personal touch to our experience. Overall, a great spot to dine while in Puerto Viejo.

Located right on the ocean front of puerto viejo looking over the ocean and the streets. Wonderful view and good Peruvian food. Flavor was great on chaufa Peruano con mariscos y lomito. Grill tuna salad and ceviche was ok. The drinks were great.
Tae Kim — Google review
Delightful, trendy restaurant with a high-end look and sound for those looking for an easy evening of quality food and service. I took off one star for service due to a lack of access for the mobility-challenged. I did not see any ramps for wheelchairs, so I have no idea how anyone wheelchair-bound would be served. I stopped in for dessert and ordered the chocolate mousse. To call this sweet taste-treat "decadent" would be an understatement to its amazingly rich flavor. The drinks are also exceptional - I highly recommend their Pina colada. The lighting makes the atmosphere particularly intimate and romantic. The music seems to be a tape of popular American songs remixed by various artists, which, IMHO is oftentimes better than the original version. The wait-staff is friendly and attentive, two above-standard characteristics where this restaurant excels.

I loved this place! The food was excellent! The service was great and the atmosphere made for amazing people watching. Our server did a fantastic job making us feel welcome. He practiced his english as we practiced our spanish. We ordered our meal and the food was brought out in a short amount of time. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. My only criticism would be the food may have been priced a little high. The meal was filling.
lanster — Google review
The dining experience was very good, dishes like octopus, steak, and vegetarian skewers, all beautifully presented and served punctually. We kicked off with a cocktail that was exceptionally well-received. The service, led by Michael, was outstanding. He exhibited great enthusiasm for his work and provided excellent recommendations. The ambiance in the restaurant was very inviting, with a tastefully thought-out layout. However, the website does not reflect this excellence. It lacks sufficient information and gives the impression that the restaurant might not be of high quality.

Cafe
Nestled just before Cocles beach, Caribeans Chocolate and Coffee offers a laid-back atmosphere with its rustic decor and a wide array of delectable coffee and chocolate. Visitors can also partake in guided tours that delve into the global spiritual living ethos. The highly recommended Chocolate Tour provides an insightful look into the production of chocolate. Additionally, the establishment's unique experience allows guests to learn about the ancient Mayan culture of cacao and its modern production methods.
One of my favorite places in Puerto! Paul and Jeanne are the best! I love watching them grow this business. The coffee drinks are wonderful, the food is good, and the chocolate is the best around! Grown and processed on site... Highly recommend doing the chocolate tour to learn all about it. The chocolate flight was fun to try. The vegan banana chocolate muffin was so rich and moist. I love how all the muffins are loaded with pieces of chocolate. Great vibe here...we all loved just hanging out and returned multiple times during our trip.

You haven't had a latte until you've had one from Caribeans! We spotted this cafe on our drive in and ride bikes down the next day to try out some brunch and get some coffee. Little did we know we would end up back here every day! The peanut butter sandwich was nice and toasty, the chocolate pancakes were awesome, and both were served with a side of fresh fruit to round out the meal. There is an upstairs as well as a downstairs to accommodate for seating along with electricity and wifi. A separate fridge houses all the different chocolates which come in big bars and little bars. We found out too late that they offer a chocolate tour as well. We will definitely be going on that tour when we come back!
BANDWICHES — Google review
Be sure to take the chocolate tour if you have the time (plan at least two hours) to get a thorough understanding of the whole process it takes to make authentic chocolate. The tour begins outside and will take you along a road where you may have a chance to see some if the native wildlife, such as sloths, toucans, frogs, and a variety of insects. The guide is very good at spotting these and will point anything out if encountered. It is along this path that you'll learn about optimal conditions to produce cocoa beans, as well as some of the hazards to the process. After climbing a steep set of stairs, you'll see the process from cutting open the cocoa fruit (including a taste sample) as well as the fermenting and drying prep. You'll next be taken to a house to see where the chocolate is made, and includes taste samples of liquid chocolate, and several types of chocolate flavors made by local producers. Caution: this tour is not advised if you have serious mobility issues, although they will make accommodations as best as they can (I was able to get a ride back down the path). The tour ends at the store where you can purchase merchandise or food at a discount. The chocolate flavors you will have sampled during the presentation will be available.
Dave Skorupski — Google review
Happy we came here. Very informative tour led by Dexter. We were able to see every step of how chocolate was made here and they gave us a good amount to try towards the end. Beautiful scenery at the top and you get hopefully see a few sloths and monkeys. They also serve very good food here and give you a discount if you take a tour here. Also there is a gift shop at the end if you want to buy anything.

Food Quality: very good breakfast. Huevos rancheros were not what i was familiar with from Mexican cuisine, but they were a nice surprise and very good. Portions: definitely was not hungry after this huge breakfast. Drinks: some nice healthy smoothies and of course the typical breakfast options like juices, tea, coffee, etc. Price: $$-$$$ not bad for the plate quantity and quality. Service: very friendly and most of the service is self service. You get a beeper and pick up your food at the counter. Atmosphere: nice and chilled. Didnt realize there was a second floor until after i was done. Highlights: food and seem to have some interesting tours as well, as they have their own cacao production. Payment Method: cash, cc

We went here for a Chocolate Tour. It was really cool! My kids had a blast! our tour guide Dexter was such a nice guy and knew everything about how chocolate was made. We walked up the mountain and he told us all about the chocolate farm, the property, the animals. We saw several sloths, a tucan, a garden snake, and a ton of (harmless) Golden Orb-weaver spiders which were really beautiful. Then at the top of the hill we saw how they make the chocolate. The views up there were spectacular. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour, the coffee and chocolate shop.

Caribeans Chocolate and Coffee in Limón, Costa Rica, is a true gem. From the friendly staff to the incredible atmosphere, it's a must-visit spot. We enjoyed a variety of chocolate sippings, black coffee, fresh juices, and delicious breakfast options like burritos, pancakes and the Costa Rican typical Gallo Pinto. The location, nestled in the Caribbean jungle with easy access from Cocles to Puerto Viejo, adds to the charm. Plus, the staff are fluent in both Spanish and English, and the wifi is reliable. Highly recommended for a taste of the Caribbean!

Great tour. Dexter was knowledgeable and great fun! Told us all about the cacao and its history, besides that he told us about the nature around the farm. The tasting itself exceeded all our expectations, sooo much chocolate!! The girls at the bar were also super friendly and outgoing. Would definitely recommend going here! We'll be back, but need to recover from all the chocolate we just had ;-)

I may have had the most delicious breakfast and coffee here I have ever had in my entire life! My boyfriend and I visited puerto viejo for about a week and had breakfast here three days. We also did the chocolate tour which was incredible. Our guide was Daniel, I believe and he was fantastic! I’m sure the tour is always phenomenal no matter who’s your guide. We got to try raw cacao and learned so much about the land and their traditions. We spotted the little red frogs, monkeys, sloths and tucans on our short hike up to the factory where they make their chocolate. Also incredibly delicious! For breakfast my boyfriend and I would share the huevos rancheros and the breakfast burrito. We had to try the chocolate pancakes on our last stop which were amazing. Fluffy and light and delicious. Also came with the tastiest banana I have ever eaten. 100/10 recommend this spot💥

Great little spot. I got the mocha Azteca — mocha with cayenne and it was good. The Huevos Rancheros were delicious and the fresh bread was amazing. Ended my meal with another cup of coffee and a little tartlet and the cream on this tartlet was incredible. The staff was nice and very attentive. It also has parking out front which made things easy. Delicious food and peaceful atmosphere to enjoy breakfast.

I stayed in PV for over a month and ate here at least 10 times. The food is amazing as evidenced by the fact I only made it out of there with one picture. The French toast is *chefs kiss* amazing. The pancakes are so tasty and you can order Nutella to make them even more decadent than they already are. They serve the best pinto in the area! Loved the ham and cheese omelette, but of course I had to douse it in Lizano Tabasco sauce which made it omg so good! The coffee is incredible and the natural drinks are so refreshing. Try their jam that they make! I brought 4 jars of that home with me! Also, don’t pass up the baked goods!!! The service is also incredible (Hi Oscar!!!).

Lovely bakery that is very popular. We came here 3 years ago and got to know the owners a bit bc we rented the apartment above the bakery. The juices are very nice, and the place has a great atmosphere! Not giving 5 stars because the chocolate croissant I ordered, which looked great was unfortunately dry and the latte quite bitter. Disappointing!

Had a takeaway breakfast from this bakery two days in a row. One morning I had a cream filled croissant and today a Pizza Rojas. Each was only 1,000-1200colones ~ $2USD which is a bargain. Both were delicious. The pastry display was beautifully presented. They had an extensive sit down a la carte menu and the queue for takeaway coffee was long. Nice cosy interior and very friendly staff.

We fell in love with this place from the get-go. Situated at the east end of town, we would stop in every morning on the days we bicycled to Manzanillo. We’d enjoy a great cup of coffee, and usually take-out some savouries for snacks at the beach throughout the day. The staff is super friendly and helpful, even during the hectic times when they were dealing with line-ups for tables as well as at the counter. On the days that we had a bit more time we’d enjoy their full, sit-down breakfasts. They make really delicious waffles, but the hands-down star attraction is their killer French Toast. This treat is a must-have at De Gustibus. Another treat is their bread. Whenever it wasn’t sold out (and that was often because everyone loved it as much as we did) we’d pick up a loaf and take it home - so good. Oh, and not surprisingly their sweet desserts are fabulous as well. These folks deserve the stellar rating - highly recommended!

The pastries here are delicious and the food looked very good. The reason why I gave this a 4/5 was the coffee. Myself and my friend were really disappointed in our drinks. Other than that, everything was great!

We ate here daily on our vacation. Well priced food, with plenty of options to take back to your rental unit. Great atmosphere and service as well. Keep up the good work!

Wonderful baked goods, breakfast and espresso. We have visited many times. The wait staff is also amazing! Get breakfast then lunch to go.

We will probably agree with everyone that this is one of the best bakeries in the area. They have meals, snacks, pastries, drinks, and other little things you might want in the pantry. The staff is really nice and spoke English, which helps with hard pastry terms. I would recommend going there early, because we went around 1230, and all the bread had been bought, there were a few pastries left but definitely not the full stock they started with. There is also a free charging port outside if your phone or whatever needs a good charge.

Bar & grill
The bar and grill Hot Rocks is a popular spot in Puerto Viejo for locals and tourists alike. With live music every night, it's always lively and the atmosphere is fantastic. The food is decent, but don't expect anything fancy - this place is all about the fun! Prices are reasonable too.
Nice lunch here with kids (10 and 9). We had the beef fajitas, a salad, guacamole and chips, jalapenos basket and hot dog and they were all delicious. The service was fast and the waiter really nice.

We love the atmosphere and staff, cheap beer and food prices are a perk. Antonio has been our regular server and he's great, goes above and beyond to help us out. We also had a server Jose on our first visit that was wonderful. Both bartenders have helped us translate Spanish, answered questions about the area and were very friendly. Great local watering hole.

Went on a Saturday with my cousins. Got a table near the pool tables. Service was random and kind of slow. Food was fine, the menu is pretty extensive. My cousin LOVED the chicken fajitas, and couldn't stop raving about them. The atmosphere is the real draw. The entertainment was amazing! Super fun place, very local, highly recommended.

Marlin was a bit tuff. It was my first time ever having it so I don't know what it was supposed to be like. Other than that I love the atmosphere they had live music and it really seemed to be the happening spot.

Used to be a favorite for me, but not anymore. Worst service I have ever experienced in Puerto and the food is not good. The pizza is like what they serve in public school cafeterias. The ceviche was a little chewy. The place has become filled with tourists. The live music and fire dancers were cool... But the overall vibe of the place isn't what it used to be. If you go, sit at the bar, enjoy the swings. Do not sit at a table. We ordered a tower of beer and it took almost an hour before it was brought out. In response to the owner's comment below (I don't see a way to respond personally)... I wish I could remember the name of our waiter. He was tall and muscular. But there were many waiters around and no one seemed to pay any attention to us. We would stop different waiters to ask what was going on, and they would just respond that they would go get our waiter for us.. but he never came by. No one checked on us, our bill took forever to come out. We almost threw some cash on the table and just left. If I do return, I will just sit at the bar near the street. This was my first time to sit at a table and I will not do that again.

Food was amazing. They tend to make different performances throughout the week. Really entertaining place, and awesome atmosphere. The prices were just right. Would totally come back here.

Large, beachfront location with a live band stage and a couple pool tables. It tends to have a lively crowd but is still family-friendly. For a bar, the food proved remarkably good and not expensive. Would recommend a visit

Decent sports bar in town. A few TV screens, 2 pool tables, and live music everytime we visited. They even showed big sporting events like the superbowl. The food was ok and the service a little slow. Compared to other big restaurants here, only a few of them spoke a little English. Prices were ok as well.

This is my review, I’ve been going to this place for about 6 years now, today was the most disappointing meal I’ve ever had the chicken tasted old and dry. As this was my birthday outing, I did complain to the server, their answer was a chef change, and they did not attempt to fix the issue, they just stated it was chef’s fault. The servers are always great but I would not say that’s enough to keep coming back to this place. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to you. Again just a shame this use to be a great place to eat. Not my first bad experience, but my last bad experience wasn’t really with the food but the service since the took waay to long to take the order. And this was today. 1 of July 2023, we did ask to speak to someone else all they told us they were gonna do was send pictures of the chicken we did not eat, to the manager/owner but we did not get any other option to even change it out, we did pay in full our bill since we do not believe in stealing anything but, it what I find truly disappointing is the response to the issue, at the restaurant. I might give it another change although highly unlikely…

This was the first time I had been back in two years and I had such a lovely time. I was the first person waiting outside before the restaurant opened. Before I was able to enter, Thirlie took his time to make sure everything was in excellent condition before guests were seated. Fortunately a group of sunburned individuals walked in unannounced causing Thirlie to let me in sooner, While I was eating I was very happy to see that the Owner is still the same. He is always making sure he is avoiding eye contact and continues to say hello without saying words. The staff is also still the same. They give you your space. If you need something, it is best to get up and get it yourself. The food is even better. It is presented so beautifully it makes you want more. You can see the difference in pictures from all my other reviews. The buffalo chicken wings were so tasty. I ate the buffalo before the wings. The shrimp rice was so sweet that I added the buffalo sauce to tone it down. Yummy. My favorite part was eating in the dark. I had to use the flash to see the food quality. I now remember why I was gone 2 years. I came back to see the show. The restaurant is the show.

I did not like my food. The server asked if I wanted to take my food home because she saw my plate was still full. She even asked if she could get me something else, but I decided against it because my friend's food did not look tempting either. We ordered drinks, but my Pina Colada was like a melted milkshake. I asked for more water, and the server never came back. I still gave them a 4/5 because the place was packed, and there was a line wrapped around the corner. I had a lot of fun there with the live band. They even have a dance floor. I won’t be back for the food or drinks, but I would happily come back for the atmosphere.

It's all about the atmosphere. The live band was amazing! The guacamole and Chios plate was quite small but tasty.

Be careful, you'll get ripped off at happy hour. Happy hour must be explicitly mentioned; it is not possible afterwards. There is nothing on the sign saying that the happy hour must be explicitly mentioned and I have never experienced such an approach anywhere. When I read other comments, this trick is used more often and that's a SCAM for me!!! Maybe you should think about whether you want to support such places es a customer.

At 20:30 there was a fire show followed by live music. A cozy evening and a great atmosphere

NicE place for drinks. Good live music when I was there. But every night has a different event. Chill place. Super super busy when I was there. So not bad. It's one of the better bars that open late here. Got pool tables and food. But the music was good, the band playing on open mic night was great. But again it gets busy and hectic. But over all good experience and definitely would come back... Cause there aren't too many choices here

It’s more about the atmosphere. The entertainment was really good, we went during karaoke night. The chicken and beef fajitas were okay nothing crazy, the calamari was hard/chewy wouldn’t get that again and the drinks were decent. If you go keep in mind the line gets long to get it because this place packs out and the service is a bit slow.
