This place has it all! Very lovely service, excellent service. Great non-alcoholic drink menu and full wine list. Only reason why I am rating four stars is I don’t think the cost of the sea food platter matched the quality of the preparation. At the end of the day the food was very fresh and high quality. Drink service was slow but delicious.

Situated on the outskirts of Pyrgos the restaurant commands a remarkable view of the island. The elevated position and cylindrical shape gives patrons a framed vista of Santorini. Window blinds allow you to enjoy the view without burning out your retinas. The food was plentiful and delicious. We plumped for the mix grill for two that could have satisfied four. Washed down with a carafe of wine - perfect.

Beautiful place! Good service. But the food quality is not the best. The shrimps are not cleaned, full of sand and the moussaka is bit dry, the fried potatoes on the base is not the best choice. Overall a 4 for the amazing view Updates- I did not feel very well a couple of hours after eating. We think is the liver….

Starting off with the view of the restaurant, it's truly unique and something to experience all on its own! The food is excellent, it was very filling and delicious, with generous portions for their price. Staff service is great. The waiters are polite, understanding, and knowledgeable, just as you'd expect from a fancy place like this. This would be an easy 5 stars if not for the connected club they have downstairs, vibrating the floor and making a lot of noise, especially when they open the door to it. My suggestion for avoiding this is to simply go eat there any time before 7:30pm.

This is surprisingly very good restaurant that is located in a remote area of Santorini. Service is fast and great. The staff is friendly. I’ve had one of the best Moussakas here. The Grilled Chicken Fillet was perfectly done. Side baby roasted potatoes were so delicious. My girlfriend had a caramelized Chicken and it was very delicious too. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the island.

Wow what a restaurant. The view is mesmerizing. The food is exquisite. The staff are brilliant. Totally blew me away. The portions the quality. All out of this world. I had moussaka and it was the best ever. My wife had a steak which was great. The wines were also fantastic, full body excellent quality. This is a 5 ⭐️➕ restaurant. Great job

This was the first whole lobster experience for me - before this I only had lobster as part of a dish which was already cleaned so I didn't have to do any work. I am really happy I chose this place for my first ever grilled lobster. This place has great views and great food. I don't know if they are normally dog friendly but we were allowed to sit inside with the dog (out of season). Portions were big. My partner had a huge chonk of meat (Tomahawk). Had couple appetizers for sharing. OK prices. An appetizer that I really appreciated was cheese with cherry tomato jam. Great flavor and texture combination. Yum!

The best place for Family and group. Great view, Menu is so delicious with a delightful presentation. The venue itself is remarkable and keeping memories for everyone.

Great service here and it one of the better food we had here in Greece. Most places with sunset and view usually had okay food, but here they got great atmosphere and beautiful view, delicious food. My grilled shrimp salad was just perfect. I would suggest to booked a 8:30 pm dinner here and, before that watch sunset at Santo Winery around 6:30-7:45 pm during Aug. to Sep. It's only 5 min. Drive away apart. It's would probably be a perfect combo for a nice evening.

This restaurant is excellence in all its categories. Delicious food, perfect service and lovely atmosphere. They have a parking area, so if you’re getting there bu car, you’ll have a place by the entrance. Details of our dinner for 2: Pyrgos salad to start, tomahawk steak for my husband (warning! It’s massive, so make sure you’re hungry when ordering it) and lamb chops for me.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Pyrgos Restaurant on Sept 23 and everything was absolutely perfect. We live in Canada and had never visited the venue prior to our wedding but Pyrgos made the process so seamless. They were so easy to work with. Communicative, professional and kind. They made me feel so confident that they could deliver what I wanted and they did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious. Very generous portion sizes. Delicious cocktails. They were able to accommodate all of the dietary restrictions of my guests. My guests are still telling me how wonderful everything was. The atmosphere and the VIEW are just stunning. Parking lot on site. Such a perfect space for an event. I can not thank the Pyrgos team enough. I would change nothing about our day.

Amazing food and amazing wine! Personally the best dish was the octopus starter, can highly recommend :) And also the cheese with sesame seeds and honey dip.. super sweet and delicious, we are coming back for it :)

Our 1st restaurant stop in Santorini. Food and service was great. Our waitress let us sample several wines before picking a bottle. Cocktails were also very tasty. Lots of veggie options. The view was great too. Would definitely recommend.

This place was incredible. The vibe & views were so beautiful & it was so well priced compared to what you’d find in towns like Oia or Fira. We had the lamb kleftiko (our favorite main, the lamb fell off the bone & it was cooked so well) & the pork medallions (pork was slightly overcooked but the sauce was beautiful). For starters we had the octopus & the grilled Manouri (a soft grilled cheese topped with a tomato jam which was SO GOOD). Also the portions are huge so come hungry! There are so many things on the menu I want to try so if we ever come back, we’ll definitely return!

Franco’s was lovely, with great, friendly staff, who couldn’t do enough for us (myself and my two sons), good food and drinks and stunning views, all back up with classical music to add to the atmosphere. There was a cool sea breeze after the sunset, however, we were informed about that from previous reviews, so not a surprise, just be prepared with a shawl or extra layer. It did not detract from the experience.

Magical ❤️. Moving classical music, fabulous cocktails, great meze bites and one of the best sunsets in the world. I also loved the fact the best spot in the house is left empty purely for viewing and photos. 100% worth a visit. It’s a 10 minute walk up from the village so leave plenty of time to find the place and walk up 🚶‍♂️. If you don’t like stairs, this probably isn’t the place for you.

Excellent location where to watch the sunset in Santorini! The lady who served me was so lovely and sorry I completely forgot your name! 🫣 Had a few drinks and a fresh lemonade. They are not overly priced considering the location and the stunning view! We didn't have any food here only the drinks and watching the sunset. I highly recommend this place.

We were exploring Pyrgos and came across this bistro that has a terrace that overlooks the northern part of Santorini and is a magical sunset spot. Drinks and small menu, lovely people and exquisite service, with soft classical music a perfect evening treat. Bit of a climb but so worth it even for older bones

We found this amazing place looking in internet and guided by the good opinions, made a reservation. We were greeted warmly and given a table with great view. As we sat there enjoying the delicious drinks, we experienced a lovely sunset accompanied by romantic music. The service was fantastic. Very nice waiters make you just feel special. What is worth adding is that the way there is very interesting itself, we got lost - but ith was quite a nice Greek adventure. I highly recommend this place:)

Saw the most spectacular sunset ever from here. Lovely music as well. The Service team was extremely sweet and polite and helped us with a wonderful table. This place is a hidden gem up the hill and is worth the walk. Highly recommend this place to experience the magical sunset!

If you want to sit at a cafe, have some drinks, and admire the sunset, go here! It has a very nice relaxed atmosphere and music. I was so happy we found this place. Definitely come 1.5 hrs before the actual sunset, because the good seats up front fill up quickly. Not gonna lie, the drinks were quite expensive at about 6 euros for orange juice, but you are paying for the location.

Having explored the rest of the Island and staying nearby in Pyrgos - the view was for more impressive than I was expecting. The waitress was also superb. Relaxed vibes and great views. I took an ice coffee and sparkling water

Fantastic little cafe at the top of Pyrgos - must visit for the sunset view from the castle. The food was also delicious and varied. Come early in order to guarantee a good spot for the sunset view. The staff were also very friendly and attentive

Came here for a more tranquil and intimate atmosphere to view the beautiful sunset from an amazing vantage point high up on the hill. It was a bit tricky to find this hidden gem but that adds to the experience. Just look around and you’ll see signs. Because it’s high up on a rooftop mid-April, just make sure to bring extra layers and ladies, have a hair tie ready or else be prepared for a crazy hair day (can’t speak for other seasons but I’m sure will be much warmer during summer). Otherwise staff were all very nice, friendly, and attentive. They started going around providing blankets, but not sure if they will have enough for everyone. The drinks were well made but unfortunately didn’t get a chance to try out their food. Definitely a good place to view the sunset without the huge crowd.

Great place for sunset views. We shared a bruschetta and a got a couple of cocktails. Had front row seats for the view.

We enjoyed dinner here. The oxtail donuts were really good. The tuna ceviche was a bit disappointing and seemed a bit off. The sangria and our main dishes were good. The service was adequate, but not overly friendly. Unfortunately, something I ate there gave me a bout of diarrhea the next day, which was a bummer (we suspect it was the tuna).

Cava Alta is such an amazing restaurant. The service and food are absolutely out of this world. The food is Michelin star worthy and the view at sunset is breathtaking to say the least. My husband and I came here twice while staying in Santorini because it was just exceptional. This was hands down the best meal we had while staying in Greece.

Big surprise….delicious tuna tartare & shrimp bun starters, grilled cheese salads and pork belly main dish. Then Pina Colada & Cheesecake desserts took it to the next level! Wow! Don’t miss this fabulous eatery!

Super delicious! Would definitely recommend for a nice dining experience that isn’t too expensive. The view was amazing and the vibe was definitely there, with songs you know and overhead lights ✨ the food was amazing, especially the entrées. The bill ended up being around 200 for 6 people, which is super cheap considering we also got a bottle of wine, dessert and coffee. We also got free bread and a Greek liquor, as well as the same liquor mixed with cinnamon, apple and some other things for dessert. I would call and book in advance for the terrace to enjoy the sunset 🌅

My best meal in Greece! Honestly I couldn’t fault any of the dishes and I was literally licking the plates… that’s how good it was!:) absolutely loved this place, great view, great staff, great food! A MUST! The pougakia is the best dish I’ve ever had… chicken mastihato as well! ** Went back again a couple of nights later to watch the sunset:) what a great evening to spend there, getting that pougakia and chicken mastihato again ❤️ we went for the ribs this time and let me tell you, it’s better than the pork belly! The tuna tartare was delicious as well:)

This restaurant is a must see if you are in Pyrgos! Beautiful terrace to watch the sunset, great house white wine, and delicious food. The server, Jason, was very attentive and gave us a drink to start the meal and another to end the meal. The meals are very reasonably priced and so so good!!

Wow! This was our last meal in Greece and it was both amazing but also devastating because we wished we could’ve eaten here again and again. From start to finish our meal was incredible, there was not one part of our meal we didn’t like. The location is great, it was very busy and the service was still great and the prices were totally reasonable! Really can’t say enough good things. Don’t skip this restaurant!

Perhaps the best meal we’ve had in Santorini. While every table around us spoke a different language, there was a high percentage of locals (always a good sign in a touristic area). Every time a waiter brought food to a table, we gasped in envy. Portions are large and the food is artfully prepared. Waiters are very personable and knowledgeable.

They gave us some olive specials as a welcome snack. Later we had few Appetizers tomato croquettes (fluffy inside and crispy outside) and zucchini balls(little tangy grated zucchini inside and crispy outer layer). They were good. Finally we had spaghetti for our main course and it was juicy and delicious. They also gave us a small dessert as complimentary.

Perfect!!! From service, to location, the food…everything was just amazing. Unfortunately we didn’t make many pictures, but the atmosphere in the evening is so nice. At the end they offered us panna cotta with some nuts and a honey syrup which was just a perfect ending to a fabulous dinner. Can’t wait to come back.

Every time this restaurant are full of people. I also decided to try. There are many staff, they are friendly and hospitable. Dishes looked perfect, but meat wasn’t soft. We enjoyed this evening. At the end of the meal they may bring a small free treat, but not always.

This is a delightful place to eat. Their kataifa appetizer was the first I had ever tried and it was amazing. The main courses were delicious too, though I thought the gyros was a bit dry and the risotto (Greek equivalent) was a bit salty. However the atmosphere there was so fun that we were sad to leave. Wonderful, wonderful people there. Love it.

This is a very nice casual restaurant at Pyrgos. I was suprised with the quality and taste of food. It was delicious and in reasonable prices. The place is located in a nice square. Nice Greek twisted food. Service was very good. Worth it to try.

Food was delicious and the portions are very big! We went twice during our stay and everything we ordered, including the starters, was very tasty. The staff is also very attentive and nice. They give you a small free dessert.

An excellent stop for a lunch. The restaurant did not have a view of any thing spectacular however the food was very good, with a service staff that was very friendly. I absolutely recommend this as one of the places my friends should visit for a relaxed lunch and some unique dishes.

The place looked nice. The service was poot. The waiters were chatting away, while people waited for the food. They served us wine with standard soft drinks glass. Food was avareage. The chef was experiment with spices, which at the end did not tiste very well. The bill was quite high. Would not say value for money.

Probably are most favorite food places. So everywhere in Greece you will see normally between $12-30 for food options. But here it will actually be worth the cost for the quality of food you pay for. I ordered the Cretan salad that was so good and filling! Highly recommend. My husband ordered something that started with a "K" that was the mixed meat with mashed potatoes, so so good, better than the kabob I feel. If you are craving some wine, order the house wine, it is not only only $5 , but it is light and taste like fresh from the winery.

An excellent meal! Loved the outdoor sitting area. Amazing and extensive selection of food. Would highly recommend the seafood orzo and the pork hanging kebabs (you’ll see almost everyone having it). Great selection of desserts too!

Went for a causal lunch. Food was good! Ambience was good but it is next to a cafe which shares the sitting space separated by a small wooden boundary. They also surprised us a with a desert which was cool.

Food was a tad pricy for what it was, but honestly super yummy. I love the design of the place and the look of the menu, very cute. Lots of stray cats around too.

Delicious food and great service :) We had two skewer platters, as shown on their menu pictures, mixed grill marinated meats and kontosouvli. The main course, “Kontosouvli”, pork on skewer, was the attraction. Absolutely delicious and well spiced!!!! We also had the baklava as a dessert, and although pics will show only a bit, it’s due to how good it was that we didn’t stop for a picture :) the portion is actually very large!

What a beautiful patio to sit and have a meal! We came here for seafood on Good Friday and we were not disappointed. We got mussels, squid, and prawns, as well as a starter of bread and garlic dip. Everything was fantastic. A fun added touch was all the friendly interaction from the neighborhood cats. After your meal, stop for coffee next door or explore the neighborhood up the hill!

Hidden Gem in Santorini 🇬🇷 We stumbled upon this underrated treasure in Pirgos, far from the tourist crowds of Thira and Oia, and it turned our Santorini experience into something truly memorable. The restaurant’s garden setting with towering trees creates an enchanting, relaxing atmosphere. It’s the perfect backdrop for savoring traditional Greek cuisine. The menu had us in a delightful dilemma - every dish looked enticing. We started with the Zucchini Balls, and they were so scrumptiously divine that we wished the taste would never end. 🤤 Next up was the “Kavourmas” meat mix with mashed potatoes, surprisingly generous for a starter. The tender meat paired with creamy potatoes was simply heavenly. 😋 For our mains, we devoured the Kebab with yogurt and the “Kontosouvli” pork with pita bread, tzatziki, and rustic potatoes. Both portions were substantial. The veal and lamb Kebab, paired with spiced yogurt, was a standout. The only minor quibble was the fatty bits in the pork. We wish they had chicken souvlaki as an alternative, as we’re chicken lovers. 🐓 The service was impeccable. Our dishes arrived swiftly, and the staff’s warm, welcoming nature enhanced our Santorini dining experience. 🏃‍♂️🥇 We can’t praise this place enough and will undoubtedly return when we revisit this island in the future. ⭐️

Food is simply amazing! Ordered the Spaghetti and Smoked Pork Chop. The pork chop is very tender and absolutely flavourful. Spaghetti is mind blowing too. Simple dish yet made to perfection.

One of the best meal we had in Santorini! The deep fried calamari is to die for. The squid is so soft and fresh, batter is crispy and flavorful. The staffs were all friendly and offered a few suggestions for us to try. Tried the grilled swordfish and it was so juicy and fragrant. Love the Greek salad.. everything there is just so nice!

Seafood tavern known for its catches of the day. We selected swordfish steak and red mullet - freshest red mullet I've had in my life. Despite it being deep fried, they were still able to retain the freshness and succulent flesh. Loved the complimentary desserts too. They have a row of tables with the views (though this can be hot during afternoon direct sun rays) infront of the main restaurant, separated by a road running through. Was a pleasant lunch to the view of the marina watching catamarans and fishing trawlers.

Simple, tasty, honest food. High quality ingredients prepared by people that know what they’re doing. The sea bass ceviche was sublime. The grilled squid exceptional for its simplicity. We were recommended this place by our hotel. It was the best place we ate in a week on Santorini.

We've been there twice during our vacation. Everything is top notch, the food, the service and the views! I don't think we had a course that wasn't delicious. The staff has been very polite, informative about every dish and the specials, and they make sure that everything is working like a well oiled machine. Make sure to order a table on the terrace in advance. Best restaurant in the area by far!

The starters were amazing. The fish selection was great, but they were all BBQed except the red millet. We wished to have the fishes cooked in some different ways.

This was a super awesome experience. This restaurant is off the beaten path. We ate the salad, squid, and mackerel filet. Everything tasted really fresh. The tomatoes and goat cheese were beyond delicious. The service was friendly, kind, and hardworking. There’s a balcony area that overlooks the ocean; seems you need a reservation for this as it fills up quickly.

The best meal I have had in Santorini. (This was my first meal here). I was able to witness the beautiful sunset around 6:45pm. Watching all the sail boats returning was quite astonishing. The atmosphere was perfect and staff showed me their fresh fish in the kitchen. Cats were friendly too. Highly recommend Total bill 80 euro for 2 people plus tips. Not the cheapest but definitely the most unforgettable meal.

Amazing Greek restaurant with exceptional view. This place is definitely one of the best restaurants on Santorini. It’s located right above a beautiful little harbor and is famous for it’s great see food. The fish is stored in professional cooling containers where you can choose what you want. They then weight the fish right in front of you and you directly see the price. Every fish gets grilled and you can have it filleted. In our case this wasn’t done too well. Nevertheless the fish and everything else tasted great and the service was exceptionally friendly. They’re also perfectly prepared for little children and have many baby chairs. Perhaps the only downside is the fact that you can’t see the the sunset.

Lovely location and food was excellent 👌, we arrived without a booking but they managed to squeeze us in, they recommended some dishes using fresh catch of the day swordfish and tuna so we went with that, all the dishes were great and the staff were very friendly.

We went here after seeing the great reviews and its proximity to where we were staying. Perhaps one of the biggest gems of our stay in Santorini. Just phenomenal seafood (especially the king prawns) and friendly and attentive staff. Would recommend a visit here

The sea bass plate was fantastic! We were so excited to eat it we forgot to take a picture! The sardines and fried goat cheese were great starters. Beautiful view and great spot for the sunset. We also had a friendly cat hang out on the ledge next to us as we ate.

This place deserves 6 stars! Amazing food, fantastic atmosphere, friendly service and fair prices for what you get. A must visit place during your Santorini stay. Located above a small marina, perfect positioned for watching the sunset during the evening. The fish carpaccio and grilled goat cheese were perfect. Everything else we ordered was great. Plenty of parking nearby.

Looks like every other fish restaurant on the waterfront, but the food here is exceptional. The chef has a Michelin star from a past restaurant and you can tell by the quality of the food. Also very decently priced and very well located with a great view of the port. The staff were very attentive and helpful.

Incredible location by the south coast, serving impeccable fresh seafood and super friendly and efficient staff. As a seafood lover, i will be thinking about this meal for a very long time. We tried a bunch of the starters. Octopus (incredible), fresh anchovies in lemon, sea bass ceviche, fava puree, bread and tomato puree spread. We had the house white wine which was very tasty as well. The staff brought us a chocolate mousse dessert on the house as well to perfectly end things! A must while on the island

Wonderful meal, beautiful setting, and reasonable prices considering the quality. We were pleasantly surprised by a gratis serving of homemade tomato paste with local herbs with our bread, and a gratis dessert (small cups of chocolate mousse with crumbled biscuits). Worth the trip from Fira!
