Calm and serene comparatively. Also has some good restaurants and hotels. But you know what the best part is towards one end of the beach there is this river meeting the sea and it creates some beautiful stream and you could just play or swim in there. Note I went in march and water lever was perfect not more not less it gives literally a jacuzzi effect.

Visited this Beach during Christmas with German colleagues. The beach is very beautiful and spent memorable time with live music (evening), drink and delicious foods.

Other than a few fishermen, we found this place empty. The beach was not clean either. I don’t know if this was because it was not the season. This beach is also surrounded by hills on both sides and should have been beautiful if maintained.

Very nice beach. Smaller and less populated than Palolem. Natural beauty is great with rocks on one side and beach on the other. There are lots of places to play around and have a bath. Morning boat rides are also available.

Quite crowded although it's scenic with rocks and fabulous sunset, lot of beach side restaurants available with various food options. Many Resorts like Agonda Paradise are there with beach access are also there. Parking and cleanliness can be improved.

This was one of the best places we stayed in South Goa! Many properties boast about their proximity to the beach but this was one of the only hotels where we were able to take a only few steps to the ocean from our room. They have an amazing cafe as well serving delicious food. The hotels are very very well maintained, beds, bathrooms and your balconies are very clean and comfortable. At night, we just carried our blankets and star gazer near the sea with no disturbances. Will recommend this hotel

We visited Simrose resort in January end 2023 . The resort as per location is great. The restaurant of the resort is located on the beach . We wanted a place where we can relax for 4-5 days without going about much as we were travelling with a toddler . So in that way it offered a great place . We were little disappointed by the size of the rooms . Though they were clean and well maintained . There was no problem but if you are looking for a luxury stay then you have to book their rooms with beach view . Ours was garden view room. The staff is very cordial and helpful .the crowd was sophisticated and no problems on that front too. Overall a great stay . We may love to stay there again with room having beach view 😁

We stayed here for 3 nights in August 2023. This resort is right on a quite beach, some of the rooms are beach facing but most of them are in the inner part. They have interconnected 4 bed family rooms which is a big relief for families. Restaurants is the USP which is open air and has a nice view of the beach. You can sit here all day and enjoy the breeze. The room I stayed in was pretty basic but very well maintained. It has a small dipping pool too. Service at the restaurant and in the resort is awesome and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Parking is a bit small but they manage it well with valets. Overall had a very pleasant and relaxing experience. Thank you team Simrose!

Spent 10 amazing days here with 2 small children. Rooms are fairly basic but comfortable and air conditioned, but the main highlights are the bar/restaurant and the beach. All food we ate was fantastic and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The beach is beautiful and quiet - on some days the waves were too big for swimming but it's mostly fine. Agonda is a small village (basically one road) but has some nice places to eat and drink and some standard tourist style shops. All in all a great value holiday. We'd come back here in a heartbeat.

One of the best place to stay in Agonda. The huts are beautiful and so is its cleanliness. All the rooms offers decent privacy. There are 3-4 types of huts which offer beach view, beach view from side, terrace with beach view, garden view etc. The food is absolutely tasty but bit costly. The entire resort has great ambiance. There is small pool right in the middle. The staff is absolutely friendly!! If you are planning to stay in Agonda, it has to be Simrose!! Overall great experience here!!

I was very impressed by this hotel where you immediately feel good and at ease. Stayed there over 2 weeks for work & leisure. Grounds are maintained meticulously, and the rooms and huts are amongst a lush vegetation. I found that the layout of the hotel allowed guests to have their own privacy, you could not see well other guests on their balcony. I stayed in a pool view room and a garden hut and I liked them both. Room is larger and has a more modern feel, a bit more commodities but the hut is cozy and with a huge shower. Everything was spotless clean , the staff even came to wipe the hut lounge chairs daily, etc. The property faces the ocean and boasts s superb restaurant. However the highlight of the Simrose and what makes it « magical » in my opinion is the staff. Never I’ve seen such sincerely dedicated staff like there. Always smiling, they learn your name and really make sure you are enjoying your time. They *really* go « above and beyond ». I would definitely go back. Thank you Simrose ✨

Even during Goa's off-season, our stay at this hotel was far from enjoyable. We had reserved four rooms to accommodate a total of 8 adults and 4 kids for a two-night stay. Unfortunately, the rooms were not up to the mark – they were poorly maintained and lacked cleanliness. The towels provided were old and worn. The undisclosed cost of breakfast, amounting to 1250 per adult for both days, was disappointing. Despite the presence of numerous routers, the internet connectivity was practically non-existent. Even basic bathroom amenities were missing, and our complaints were disregarded. I strongly advise against considering this hotel.

We stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights. Nice peaceful place to spend time with your family and loved ones. The staff is supportive and 5 stars for the restaurant staff ! So polite and always checking if we need anything and at the end of the day they always asked us how was our day! We tried various dishes there for dinner, you can try their butter chicken and rawa prawns. The beach is clean. We stayed in hut , little small but manageable as we traveled throughout the day. Will surely recommend Simrose!

We absolutely loved the Simrose. The rooms were well appointed. Food was very good and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a good stay. Just what we needed after a busy work period.

The service and the food were excellent!!! All the stuff was so super friendly and supportive! We never went outside for food because it was so super yummy. The seafood was delicious and also they considered all our extra-wishes (no koriander, no olives, no coconut, no honey…) The rooms (Hut 18 with sea view) were basic but the bed was very comfy and the big shower was nice after a long day on the beach. I would definitely book it again and also recommend it to our friends.

The staff were super curteous, the place was clean, and the view from our room was excellent. We stayed at the rooftop luxury hut which is above the restaurant and has a private balcony. There was no disturbance from the restaurant and we slept peacefully at night. Thankfully the folks here don't blast loud music. My favorite things about the room apart from the view were the ample racks and hooks to hang stuff on (which is usually a convenience most places overlook), and the clean and fragrant bathroom. I have given the place 4 instead of 5 stars because 1. The AC wasn't doing its job during the day. The power kept going on and off/voltage kept fluctuating. For the price we were paying would have been good to get steady power for the AC. 2. Food in the restaurant was average. We're foodies so that's a big one for us. But we enjoyed our stay and were especially impressed with the lovely staff who were so accommodating of our requests. Thanks, Simrose!

We one of our best times in Goa at Simrose. The place is absolute bliss. Clean rooms, in midst of greenery, very courteous staff, they would make you feel absolutely at home. Restaurant that faces the beach, you could spend hours over food, music and the great scenery. Evenings could be spent on long walks on the beautiful Agonda beach. If you are looking for a stay in South Goa, away from the hustle and bustle in peace, this is the place. Also, the restaurant staff are amazing, they are the best!

This property is located right on the Agonda beach. The beach is so serene and peaceful it feels like your private beach. We stayed in the sea facing cottage and the view was just mesmerising. Food quality is good. We loved their veg biryani. Their English breakfast is also good but not great. There is another place around the corner which serves great breakfast. The staff were very helpful and supportive. If you’re looking for a place to stay in south Goa, this is the place to be.

The location is beautiful with friendly staff to help you with just about anything. What had me most impressed was the restaurant service staff, specifically Rohid and Vishnu. They are more friendly, sincere and dedicated than I have ever experienced service staff, even in very high end establishments. Seeing them every day made our stay (which was already great) 1000000x better and we appreciated every second we got to interact with them. We are really looking forward to seeing them again in the future. All in all our stay was a 10/10 experience! (Also look out for the friendly kitties! :))

Excellent ambience and very cordial and helpful staff. Food is amazing. Lovely stay. Very attentive staff without being obtrusive. The beach is right in front. The restaurant is amazing and we didn't have to step out for any meal. Agonda beach itself is far from the main road so gear up on medicines. The huts are small but clean and in good condition. It was not beach facing but you feel surrounded by ocean and nature. Expensive but good Staff was not good. I gave clothes for laundry but they lost few and they was not accepting that it was their mistake once I saw them the picture of how many clothes i given them even they didn’t accepted. Drunk men peeing in the middle from his balcony when i were there with my girlfriend, we complained about that but not action. I can recommend you that hotel it was good If you book directly you can negotiate it good by that.

To be honest, this place is super pricey for the rooms they provide you. It is flooded with foreigners. And located on the beach. We loved the location and staff but price wise didn’t feel the rooms were worthy. Very basic rooms no fridge no tv no breakfast included in room price.

The location is one of the best in Agonda, yes but the biggest issue for me was that the rooms are priced toooooo high for what is actually offered. I am from Goa and unlike what outsiders think, all of us do not wake up to the beach so I wanted to treat my mom and stay beachfront and found Simrose. The room we had booked was 'Side Sea View' but honestly its really misleading coz I paid over 8K for 1 night for a very very basic room to look at coconut trees and hear the waves and crows at a distant. So i spent most of the time in the restaurant - priced high relatively for what locals are used to but at least quality was good and the pool is a kiddie pool, so honestly when you pay 8K a night for this - you feel really reallly cheated.

One of the few places in south Agonda to offer French press coffee, and it's pretty decent. Very good pancakes too - try lemon honey if you're tired of the bananas and chocolate. Very decent smoothies too. Rest of the food was just ok - wouldn't really recommend for a proper lunch or dinner, but definitely for breakfast. Very relaxing place where you can easily chill all afternoon in shade and stare at the ocean. Note: this review is only for the beach side restaurant, not the hotel.

Without a doubt, one of the top accommodations at Agonda Beach. We stayed there for the past three nights, and it was fantastic. The rooms were large and comfortable, with options both beachside and across the road. Clean linen, daily housekeeping, great bathrooms, outdoor seating etc. Plus, they had a great sea-facing restaurant and bar serving decent food and drinks. They also provide pool towel on request to house guests.

Great cuisine and an excellent location by the beach. The menu is great with wide variants of dishes.. Tried seafood pasta, lasagne,fried rice , chicken steak, as well as the desserts. Their cheesecake is too good and is an icing on the cake. The staffs are good with excellent service. Sufficient parking facility is also there.

Not worth visiting! There's no restaurant in the hotel. There's nothing nearby expect the beach. Kindly do not visit this place in off-season. There's no network signal in the hotel. No television in the room. Dim lights in the room. No sort of entertainment. No privacy in the rooms, the doors were partially made up glass.

Go here for the stunning views, chill vibe and above all, the amazing hospitality that the staff has to offer. Very nice and courteous people, specially the property managers. Felt like home always and the people are very nice. Certainly value for money.

Dunhill Resort is few of well build place on Agonda beach . Check in/out-Resort was courteous to allow us early check in and late check out. staff was very helpful and quick to respond. Location-Good close to beach ,you need to cross a small 6' feet road and 2min walk to reach beach through their shack. They do have sea facing cottages which looks great. Rooms-We booked 2 kinds of rooms Family room and Couple rooms. In couples room 3 People can stay easily In family room 4 beds are provided. Beds are good typical spring mattress and well decorated room with all solid wood furniture. In room you will find bed with side tables ,wardrobe, night lamp, digital locker, Tea/coffee and mini fridge. Ac cooled the room fast. Room is cleaned every day as per requested time. Bathroom-Well designed bathroom with all basic toiletries are provided. Breakfast- Breakfast is available around lot of places as well as at resorts shack, Lot of options in Indian and western options are available. Few Issues can be resolved - 1.Rooms- Need to put a something like film for more privacy. 2.Door locking system for bathroom doors (Room no N5) Overall-A good option to stay around agonda beach.

Beach is just 100 meters and they also had a good restaurant with decent food at a reasonable price. The staff is supportive and you get a good amount of discount if you book a room online. It was literally a hop skip and jump away from the beach. We stayed in the Garden View rooms. They were very clean and comfortable. I gave it a 3 star because there are not enough plug points in the room, especially near the bed,so charging your devices becomes a problem. The bathrooms are not appointed well. They're clean and well lit , but need more hooks, etc, to hang clothes and towels. Also, the shower space needs a curtain or something that prevents the entire bathroom from getting wet when you bathe. All the staff, especially the housekeeping staff, were very polite and eager to make our stay comfortable. The 2 people I must mention here are Ms. Clarissa at the booking desk and Ms. Diana of housekeeping. If you book directly with them they give you a very good room rate. Breakfast is not included, but tea and coffee facilities are available in all rooms.

I booked Dunhill for 3 days and left within 3 hours. Even though the location is close to the beach, there is absolutely no availability of food. We reached after 2pm and were told that they have no kitchen or room service whatsoever. I understand that due to monsoons, the bar and restaurant is closed but if you're open to guests, you need to be very specific about no availability of food. I had paid 5,200 advance which I lost. Then booked another resort and moved asap. Rooms were spacious and washroom was good too. Beach is literally a few steps away. But no food was a deal breaker for me.

We had a trip with my family and it was totally amazing stay in dunhill beach resort. The manager, staff are very polite and friendly people. The location is great. Definitely recommended.

Stayed for one week in this beautiful cottages . You open your door and you see a clean and quiet beach. The crowd staying in this resort were more European . Food is super excellent. Manager karthik and all service boys were very polite. Even guards at night were very helpful . Food order closes at 11pm . So keep your alcohol and food well stocked for you. Over all a perfect stay on the beach

Its best place to visit at Agonda. The cabana's and resort rooms are very good. The location is excellent. The restaurant with beach on side makes one feel very pleasant. Good stay option nearby beach. Stayed in family room, it’s very big room, 4 members can comfortably stay in this room. Facilities in room are not upto date (lights, water taps etc) but it’s manageable. Overall service at resort and restaurant is really great, staff is very helpful and provided really good service. There are good food options on walkable distance to resort. Beach is in front of resort so location wise it’s really great. Overall it’s recommended in case you are visiting Agonda beach with family.

The rooms are poorly maintained. The Beach is great and very clean. We booked 5 rooms but didn't like the interiors of the room. The good part is, You wake up in the morning and there's the sea in front of the room. Do enjoy your candlelight dinner at the beach with your partner. Food is good. The location is great but there's a single 10 ft road to reach there. People who love to stay away from crowds can definitely be there and enjoy themselves.

We had a room with a stunning view on the beach. Good A/C. Only drawbacks (keep in mind it's not a 4 star hotel though): showering is with a little bucket as shower head is not connected and the terrace has uncomfortable plastic chairs. Staff was very kind and helpful. I would not hesitate to go back.

I travelled in the month of May which was off season for Goa and only 3-4 rooms were occupied.The experience was so so...the location wise it's really nice.I booked online for the garden view hut which did cost around RS-2750 per night and the beach view hut costs around RS-4000. I will suggest don't book your hotel online if you are visiting off seasons (from April to August) The restaurant food is also a good option as compared to the other restaurants (except the king fish option). Room service is also good and the crews are helpful. The thing which made me sad...there was no beach chair for relaxing.

Great location right on Agonda beach. The sea view room I had was not cleaned once over the 4 nights we stayed there. Also 2 water leaks in the bathroom when we got there. The menu is decent but the best part was the team. Very accommodating and helpful team! They did an amazing job to set up the 2024 new year's beach celebration!

Agonda Paradise is best for stay. We booked both garden facing as well as Sea facing shacks. Both were equally good. All rooms are specious enough with good build quality. Shower needs to be changed as it throughs water everywhere. They offer beach side dinner which is great option in evening. They have small restaurant in property offer variety of food options. It's not big or fancy but can fill your stomach. Drinks are available if you ask for. Breakfast is not included in your stay though you can explore English or French breakfast option elsewhere or try options available in there inhouse restaurant.

Booked through Agoda and property cancelled my booking after one week stating they only allow 3 days booking. Beware while booking this property they might cancel your anytime Edit: to the owner, of course it is 4 days, being the owner of the resort and in the business for some time, do you need 4 days to check your bookings? And as you mentioned it is peak time, can you get back all those deals and hotels which I have missed in these 4 days? Have some business etiquette and do not lecture the customers. And be thankful that I haven't filed a complaint in consumer court. I am letting you go with this review.

We had booked thier deluxe first floor with a full sea view room. It’s a wonderful property with a nice amenities. Being on a beach side, their rooms are very clean. As fas as staff is concerned, they are humble and polite. Service is very good!! Overall good experience. However, little infra improvement is required. Like our door locks for washrooms and entry/exit were not working properly. Rest, we tried thier sea food (prawn fried rice ) and it’s hygienic & delicious. I am rating them 5/5 for thier great room location.

Amazing experience. Breathtaking views, delicious food, great location, and clean rooms. They set tables on the beach for dinner at 7 pm till 11 pm where you can enjoy the dinner and sunset with peace.

This place is very nice ro stay and chill out. The best part is the beach access, it was like the private beach and no disturbance. The evening was awesome and the dinner setup at the sea side was a different feeling. The only drawback is the narrow road entry to the property and it seems in most of the places it is same. You need make sure that u need to carry cash and credit card is not accepted here for the food bill.

Good location. Great property. Good service by the waiters. Candle light was great! No kettle to heat water to drink. When asked for hot water, the kitchen was closed by 10.30pm. WORST PART - HAVING STALE PRAWNS AND KING FISH IN GOA THAT TO AT A SEMI PREMIUM STAY WHERE YOU’VE SPENT AROUND 4K AND PAID 2K FOR FOOD UNACCEPTABLE! SINCE THEY MAKE GOOD BUSINESS FROM FOREIGN TOURISTS THEY DONT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT INDIANS!

The beach was really very beautiful, but the journey to reach the beach was quite adventurous. We were just going through a narrow muddy road, and there was not a single person, and when we reached the parking lot and after that we had to trek for nearly 10/15 minutes and if you are taking scooty then it’s very favourable, since you don’t need to trek.

Best safari to the beach it took us 25min to reach there rather then walking for 40 minutes rather than geting exhausted on beach. Driver was very experienced for this safari and very friendly. I highly recommend it to others who comes with there family, children, grandparents.. best for group travels.

After checking out the restaurants in the area on maps, Kopi Desi rates high. Hence, the reason I gave it a crack! I had a Hawaiian pizza 🍕 and a couple of cold beers to wash it down. The pizza was OK, but 8/10 at absolute best. The beers were cold, which is always a bonus and the service was pretty good to. The only issue was I had to go searching for serviettes because there was none delivered with the meal. No big deal. The atmosphere here makes the place 👌 and although that was my first visit from me, I'll probably go back for another attempt. UPDATE - I came back for more tonight and had the fish and chips. The meal was very tasty and I thoroughly recommend coming to this place. And yes the meal was delivered with a proper cotton napkin! Visited this place more than thrice while my stay here in Agonda. This place has good food to offer and a lovely sitting area around the bonfire outside, you will get a very fresh and lively Vibe here. Eggs Benedict and Smoothie bowls are great here.

One of the best places to have a steak and BBQ port ribs. We came here for the food and ambience three times during our short stay in Agonda. The homemade cinnamon whiskey, to lemon Ice tea were absolutely flavourful and perfect for our dinners. We had the steak twice and the ribs three times. A def stop if you are a non-veg traveler.

2 years in a row I come here and they've always surprised me. Great selection of perfectly made cocktails. Tasty and interestingly made food. Wonderful staff!! The only downside is there could be more fans as it's really hot during daytime. All the rest - top!

We ate some lovely small plates, which weren't so small after all. The coconut prawns, bhaji and calamari with Goan sausage. The butter milk chicken sliders were very tasty. Good food, good ambience. They didn't have several of the drinks we wanted unfortunately. The place is quite pricy but their food is different from the usual, so worth the price. The eggs Benedict took quite some time and were unfortunately mostly cold by the time they arrived, but to be fair, i saw them whip up the sauce Hollandaise fresh.

Great vibes at Kopi Desa, a must visit if you're staying in Agonda. Pull up on your scooter and take a seat at the road side bar and enjoy the ambiance. The food was excellent, especially the Sunday roast, sliders and pizza. Five stars.

That was an awesome dinner. Ordered their garlic and chicken wood fired pizza and fish and chips. Both the items were perfect. Their cocktails with inhouse alcohol infusions are a big hit. Vibes are incredible. Will definitely go back to this place whenever I am in the area..

People have been coming for years from miles around, especially for the incredible Sunday roast dinner so expertly put together by James and his team. Home made sausages for breakfast, a fantastic cocktail menu, brilliant service and one of the most beautiful venues in all of South Goa. Kori Desa is a special treat not to be missed. Enjoy!

Premier League Matches with beer is your jam than this is the place. Pizza is great. Cocktails are awesome. Biryani was a pleasent surprise.

Explored this restaurant bar in 2021 and it was an absolute delight! Arriving in South Goa on our first night, many places were closed due to COVID, but this spot was open, buzzing with vibrant energy. The place was almost full, pulsating with great music, and the food, especially the pizza and kingfish paired with beers, was simply delectable. A memorable start to our South Goa adventure!

I am here for a few days from North Goa and everything here is so much different...better and on another level even this Kopi Desa I had rotisserie massala chicken with the trimmings as shown in the pics...amazing meal at a reasonable price Its seems to be the go to place as off the beach as it was quite busy and the staff were non stop My only observation and not a criticism is the long dark haired guy doing the pizzas wasnt wearing any hair or hand protection which concerned me as a long haired person who drops a hair or 2 unknowingly Great place and a must visit I sat at the bar on the roadside but saw a TV that showed football...although I didnt see anything to suggest they advertise games I am sure you can watch it here

Fairly basic amenities. Spacious cottages. Renovation has taken away some of the charm - especially the ceiling with its fake wooden laminate. The beach has become very crowded compared to a few years back (hence the 3 stars on location). Staff is great and professional.

The location is really good. The front facing cottages have a drop dead view of the sea. The front office staff is very hospitable and helpful. The restaurant is run independently but so the job they have been tasked too. Food is average so are the drinks. Just take this place for the accommodation and the sea view.

The location is perfect, right on the most beautiful beach in Goa, it's right on the beach. The resort is beautiful with a great garden area. The views from here are stunning you can sit here and watch the beach all day. its nicely designed and very eco-friendly in terms of design. Great spacious rooms, which are clean and well maintained. ***** NOT FOR KIDS AND VEGETARIAN****** I had stayed in garden view cottage for 4-5 days. I had very traumatised experience with restaurant staff there. Staff was rude , unprofessional and not punctual. Positive - 1. Property is just adjacent to beach , so you have direct access to beach. 2. Cottages are big , can easily accommodate family of four ( 2 adults and 2 kids) . 3. Bathrooms are spacious. 4. Property manager Subodh was reachable and was quick to address the issue. Negative - 1. Frequent power cuts. 2. Hot water issue, Geyser was not working and you need to make frequent trip to reception raise concern which is bit annoying. 3. Drinking water is not available all the time especially in late night/early morning, restaurant staff never refill WATER CAN in dispenser. Even the night staff does not pay any attention to such small things. 4. Food is pathetic and very limited options in Veg , even after giving the instructions clearly , waiter always mess up the order. 5. They served chicken sandwich to my kid. 6. They say that restaurant opens at 8 AM but the staff rarely comes on time(they serve after 9AM or so) . if you are planning to go out early after having your complimentary break-fast, then this can ruin your day. Verdict - I came here for peace of mind and relaxing , but THIS place gave us really a TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE. THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR FAMILY WITH KIDS. For VEGETARIAN this place is a BIG NO. Very limited or NO options in Vegetarian menu . They should focus on quality of food. No taste at all.

Rooms and service is good, no dedicated parking, no EV slow charging. We were to shift to the hotel next door, and they refused to provide bell boy transfer the luggage even if we offered to pay. Property is good, but for every small request be it early check-in I found, they take pride in starting with a big NO and then offer you can use the restaurant to spend time while the room is getting ready Restaurant and room services staff is very friendly though Please note you mention number of guests correctly at the time of booking since not all rooms can accommodate extra person. Overall still good experience due to location, well maintained rooms and restaurant

Overall the experience was good albeit the food was much below expectations. Thankfully, there were so many good eating options in proximity that the lack of good and tasty food at Agonda Cottages didn't hurt us much!

Already a highly overpriced stay and then they asked us to pay 3.4k extra for a toddler for our stay of 2 days. So effectively we paid a price of 5 star hotel and stayed in a below avg accomodation (They have only put efforts to make it look good for photos, but in reality it is a soulless room). The only good things about the place is that it is on the beach. But you will find it is charging 80% more than all the other beach stays similiar to this and even more if you include the cost added for toddler (also they didn't give any extra bed). Also free breakfast is also a completely ruined experience because you can only have 1 item from breakfast menu. And if you take a sea view cottage, they won't even let any of your friends enter your room or area because they don't want anyone else to have a moment of experience of sea view room without them charging for it. Beach access is the only reason they are getting some good reviews.

This seaside property has a vibe like any other good beachside property. Breakfast options can be improved. The restaurant staff is very polite and friendly. Beach Road has decent food options. Rooms are decent enough. The open shower is quite fun. Rooms are quite pricey, though.

We stayed in a garden view cottage next to the beach. The accessibility to the beach is good from this property. But they charge ~2k/day for a 4year old even though u don't need an extra bed or extra breakfast. This brought up our cost/night for a garden view cottage to 7.6k per night which I felt was not worth it. So basically this place is made for couples only since they charge for toddlers as well. It would make sense if the age limit was like 7years+ but charging for 4 year olds is kinda stupid. Never seen this in any other stays.

This was one of the best places we stayed in South Goa! Many properties boast about their proximity to the beach but this was one of the only hotels where we were able to take a only few steps to the ocean from our room. They have an amazing cafe as well serving delicious food. The hotels are very very well maintained, beds, bathrooms and your balconies are very clean and comfortable. At night, we just carried our blankets and star gazer near the sea with no disturbances. Will recommend this hotel

We visited Simrose resort in January end 2023 . The resort as per location is great. The restaurant of the resort is located on the beach . We wanted a place where we can relax for 4-5 days without going about much as we were travelling with a toddler . So in that way it offered a great place . We were little disappointed by the size of the rooms . Though they were clean and well maintained . There was no problem but if you are looking for a luxury stay then you have to book their rooms with beach view . Ours was garden view room. The staff is very cordial and helpful .the crowd was sophisticated and no problems on that front too. Overall a great stay . We may love to stay there again with room having beach view 😁

We stayed here for 3 nights in August 2023. This resort is right on a quite beach, some of the rooms are beach facing but most of them are in the inner part. They have interconnected 4 bed family rooms which is a big relief for families. Restaurants is the USP which is open air and has a nice view of the beach. You can sit here all day and enjoy the breeze. The room I stayed in was pretty basic but very well maintained. It has a small dipping pool too. Service at the restaurant and in the resort is awesome and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Parking is a bit small but they manage it well with valets. Overall had a very pleasant and relaxing experience. Thank you team Simrose!

Spent 10 amazing days here with 2 small children. Rooms are fairly basic but comfortable and air conditioned, but the main highlights are the bar/restaurant and the beach. All food we ate was fantastic and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The beach is beautiful and quiet - on some days the waves were too big for swimming but it's mostly fine. Agonda is a small village (basically one road) but has some nice places to eat and drink and some standard tourist style shops. All in all a great value holiday. We'd come back here in a heartbeat.

One of the best place to stay in Agonda. The huts are beautiful and so is its cleanliness. All the rooms offers decent privacy. There are 3-4 types of huts which offer beach view, beach view from side, terrace with beach view, garden view etc. The food is absolutely tasty but bit costly. The entire resort has great ambiance. There is small pool right in the middle. The staff is absolutely friendly!! If you are planning to stay in Agonda, it has to be Simrose!! Overall great experience here!!

I was very impressed by this hotel where you immediately feel good and at ease. Stayed there over 2 weeks for work & leisure. Grounds are maintained meticulously, and the rooms and huts are amongst a lush vegetation. I found that the layout of the hotel allowed guests to have their own privacy, you could not see well other guests on their balcony. I stayed in a pool view room and a garden hut and I liked them both. Room is larger and has a more modern feel, a bit more commodities but the hut is cozy and with a huge shower. Everything was spotless clean , the staff even came to wipe the hut lounge chairs daily, etc. The property faces the ocean and boasts s superb restaurant. However the highlight of the Simrose and what makes it « magical » in my opinion is the staff. Never I’ve seen such sincerely dedicated staff like there. Always smiling, they learn your name and really make sure you are enjoying your time. They *really* go « above and beyond ». I would definitely go back. Thank you Simrose ✨

Even during Goa's off-season, our stay at this hotel was far from enjoyable. We had reserved four rooms to accommodate a total of 8 adults and 4 kids for a two-night stay. Unfortunately, the rooms were not up to the mark – they were poorly maintained and lacked cleanliness. The towels provided were old and worn. The undisclosed cost of breakfast, amounting to 1250 per adult for both days, was disappointing. Despite the presence of numerous routers, the internet connectivity was practically non-existent. Even basic bathroom amenities were missing, and our complaints were disregarded. I strongly advise against considering this hotel.

We stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights. Nice peaceful place to spend time with your family and loved ones. The staff is supportive and 5 stars for the restaurant staff ! So polite and always checking if we need anything and at the end of the day they always asked us how was our day! We tried various dishes there for dinner, you can try their butter chicken and rawa prawns. The beach is clean. We stayed in hut , little small but manageable as we traveled throughout the day. Will surely recommend Simrose!

We absolutely loved the Simrose. The rooms were well appointed. Food was very good and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a good stay. Just what we needed after a busy work period.

The service and the food were excellent!!! All the stuff was so super friendly and supportive! We never went outside for food because it was so super yummy. The seafood was delicious and also they considered all our extra-wishes (no koriander, no olives, no coconut, no honey…) The rooms (Hut 18 with sea view) were basic but the bed was very comfy and the big shower was nice after a long day on the beach. I would definitely book it again and also recommend it to our friends.

The staff were super curteous, the place was clean, and the view from our room was excellent. We stayed at the rooftop luxury hut which is above the restaurant and has a private balcony. There was no disturbance from the restaurant and we slept peacefully at night. Thankfully the folks here don't blast loud music. My favorite things about the room apart from the view were the ample racks and hooks to hang stuff on (which is usually a convenience most places overlook), and the clean and fragrant bathroom. I have given the place 4 instead of 5 stars because 1. The AC wasn't doing its job during the day. The power kept going on and off/voltage kept fluctuating. For the price we were paying would have been good to get steady power for the AC. 2. Food in the restaurant was average. We're foodies so that's a big one for us. But we enjoyed our stay and were especially impressed with the lovely staff who were so accommodating of our requests. Thanks, Simrose!

We one of our best times in Goa at Simrose. The place is absolute bliss. Clean rooms, in midst of greenery, very courteous staff, they would make you feel absolutely at home. Restaurant that faces the beach, you could spend hours over food, music and the great scenery. Evenings could be spent on long walks on the beautiful Agonda beach. If you are looking for a stay in South Goa, away from the hustle and bustle in peace, this is the place. Also, the restaurant staff are amazing, they are the best!

This property is located right on the Agonda beach. The beach is so serene and peaceful it feels like your private beach. We stayed in the sea facing cottage and the view was just mesmerising. Food quality is good. We loved their veg biryani. Their English breakfast is also good but not great. There is another place around the corner which serves great breakfast. The staff were very helpful and supportive. If you’re looking for a place to stay in south Goa, this is the place to be.

The location is beautiful with friendly staff to help you with just about anything. What had me most impressed was the restaurant service staff, specifically Rohid and Vishnu. They are more friendly, sincere and dedicated than I have ever experienced service staff, even in very high end establishments. Seeing them every day made our stay (which was already great) 1000000x better and we appreciated every second we got to interact with them. We are really looking forward to seeing them again in the future. All in all our stay was a 10/10 experience! (Also look out for the friendly kitties! :))

Excellent ambience and very cordial and helpful staff. Food is amazing. Lovely stay. Very attentive staff without being obtrusive. The beach is right in front. The restaurant is amazing and we didn't have to step out for any meal. Agonda beach itself is far from the main road so gear up on medicines. The huts are small but clean and in good condition. Great attention to detail.

It was not beach facing but you feel surrounded by ocean and nature. Expensive but good Staff was not good. I gave clothes for laundry but they lost few and they was not accepting that it was their mistake once I saw them the picture of how many clothes i given them even they didn’t accepted. Drunk men peeing in the middle from his balcony when i were there with my girlfriend, we complained about that but not action. I can recommend you that hotel it was good If you book directly you can negotiate it good by that.

To be honest, this place is super pricey for the rooms they provide you. It is flooded with foreigners. And located on the beach. We loved the location and staff but price wise didn’t feel the rooms were worthy. Very basic rooms no fridge no tv no breakfast included in room price.

The location is one of the best in Agonda, yes but the biggest issue for me was that the rooms are priced toooooo high for what is actually offered. I am from Goa and unlike what outsiders think, all of us do not wake up to the beach so I wanted to treat my mom and stay beachfront and found Simrose. The room we had booked was 'Side Sea View' but honestly its really misleading coz I paid over 8K for 1 night for a very very basic room to look at coconut trees and hear the waves and crows at a distant. So i spent most of the time in the restaurant - priced high relatively for what locals are used to but at least quality was good and the pool is a kiddie pool, so honestly when you pay 8K a night for this - you feel really reallly cheated.

If there was a 10 out of 5, I would have gladly rated this place that! The food is just so amazing that you will keep going back. The place has the best vibe in Agonda with their seating, interior and the chill music. The staff is very friendly and food generally gets served fast. They are Pet-Friendly! We have come here some 10 times in the last two years and cannot have enough of it. If you are ready to spend a little extra on some REAL good food-this is your place in south Goa! Zest vegan and vegetarian restaurant in south Goa, I had a fantastic breakfast experience. Had their freshly baked Croissant, everything was so yumm and fresh. The restaurant itself is a very nice spot to relax and tastely decorated with large plants as partitions everywhere, cushioned seating, large tables, Highly recommended. Must try if you are around!

Simply Beautiful!! We always wanted to visit here but We were staying far away from it and finally we made it to this place on one fine day. Best restaurants at agonda beach. A great place for vegetarians and vegans. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. lot of vegan dishes on the menus. Have to wait for 20-25 mins to get your order as freshly cooked. This was the best cafe we had visited when in South Goa. It has the tastiest food items. I would definitely recommend this place for a great meal!

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Great option for all vegan lovers in and around Agonda Goa. Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation and wonderful dessert. The food was always fantastic, no matter what I ordered I was always delighted with my meal. Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. I recently had the pleasure of visiting ZEST and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The ambience of the cafe is beautiful with tasteful decor, good music playing and an abundance of plants creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. I started off with a kombucha (spicy ginger) and I must say it was one of the best I've had in a long time - it is hard to find good kombuchas in Goa. But I didn’t like their other flavors that much. I ordered the Zest Thali and I was impressed by how tasteful it was. Good combination of items in the dish and the portion size was generous, leaving me feeling super satisfied. The service was quick and efficient, with the staff being very attentive - unlike some other reviews here. The dessert options were tempting and it was difficult to choose just one. I will definitely be back to try some of the smoothies, as they are often recommended by others. Overall, I highly recommend ZEST for anyone looking for a great dining experience 👌🏾

The place is beautiful!! We were here for breakfast and we tried the Buckwheat and Quinoa bowl with Kimchi and green tahini. The tahini was out of this world and I wasn’t to go back just for the tahini. The Yellow smoothie bowl was excellent too.

A huge highlight from my month in Agonda. Amazing food, staff, & vibe - I came here almost every day. Menu faves were the dark chocolate gelato (pic!), snickers nice cream (other pic!), & the summer rolls (3rd pic! great value - big enough for a meal). Special s/o to the hardworking guys who make this place so special. Joking around with them - and the warm welcome I felt every time I stepped inside - made Agonda feel like home. What a vibe this place has! We had a gorgeous meal on our trip to Goa this week, and were blown away by how delicious our food was. Super reasonable anyway for food in Goa but this felt like great value - as you can see in from the photos! The place itself was beautiful and staff were great.

One of the best vegan cafes I have ever been to. Such a cool vibe and greenery all around. I had a beetroot Quinoa burger, loved it. The patty was fresh and filling. Also they had nice variety of Kombuchas and smoothie bowls.

We liked the place a lot. The service was excellent and the staff was really attentive. The juices tasted very chloridic due to the used ice cubes, but as we flagged that, our waiter instantly had us prepared new ones that tasted really good. The drinks as well as the the variety of dishes we ordered were of very good quality, nicely served and tasted delicious. Overall we had a really pleasant time at the Zest.

Beautiful decor, beautiful food, beautiful vibes, excellent service. We enjoyed many meals here. My only regret is that I didn't get round to trying everything. Try the hummus and the laksa!👌

This restaurant is the reason i Visit Agonda beach frequently. the restaurant has an amazing menu with coffees, smoothie bowls, to set breakfast, pizzas pasta and much more. my favourite at this restaurant is their yellow smoothie bowl. and their sourdough sandwiches and pizzas too. the staff is just amazing. they are still the same staff when i visited back before covid and now after. the place has very nice earthy vibe. with plants surrounded all around the area and also some inside too. it is nicely maintained with clean seating and organic setting. our best restaurant in agonda. see you soon Team Zest.

Delicious food. Good ambience. Fast service. Affordable. Clean and hygienic. Polite staff. Paid car parking available nearby (Rs 300) This was the best cafe we had visited when in South Goa. It has the tastiest food items and everything on the menu id equally delicious. Must try - Margherita Pizza Lasagna Veg Burger Loaded Nachos Shanti Shake (Mix berries, bananas and topped with coconut) I would definitely recommend this place for a hearty meal!

A great place for vegetarians and vegans. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. Sitting there feels a bit like being in the jungle with all the wood and plants around you. A lot of vegan dishes on the menus. Loved the vegan quesadillas and the vegan chocolate ice cream!

This is one of those place that gets its fame from being on the right trend to attract the right crowd and they are surely are getting a lot of crowd. We ordered a pizza, zucchini fries and a carrot cake. Zucchini fries were not seasoned the Greek pizza was great, carrot cake was good but not worth the 350 rupees we paid. The serving staff seemed uninterested especially towards their brown skinned clients maybe because they get a lot of pale skinned ones. The bill/invoice was hand written without any GST number, surely they are cooking not just food but also their accounts 😉. Parking for car as usual is a huge issue on that street of Agonda.

Great place for breakfast. Nit as cheap as other places, but they offer a wider menu, and their "Special Mandala scrambled eggs" are very special. The homemade bread was fantastic. Staff are all lovely. A great place to meet like-minded people and chat in a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended

FOOD- taste not suited for Indian taste buds. I went to this place just by the reviews and wanted to try something experimental. I didn't like the taste. SERVICE- But the owner was very very sweet, he made something Indian for us and served it complementary, just because we didn't like the taste. AMBIENCE- they place good music and the vibe is great. Additionally beautiful interiors.

We are so hungry and went to this place by the reviews people were given. The cafe was so cool and nice calm music was playing in the background. Most of the foreigners were seen as customers. By seeing the menu we ordered Passion cooler and Mandala Scrambled eggs with salad and 1 small bread toast. The "Passion cooler" was the worst as it doesn't even taste like it has Passion fruit in it. Double confirmed from the owner about the Passion cooler that "Is it really a Passion fruit drink?". He is confidently saying "Yes" but as far as my experience it didn't. It just tastes like lime and mint cooler. Scrambled eggs were good but we had to order an extra toast. They should provide at least 2 pieces of bread. I felt that the cafe was a bit costly. The only good thing was that the cafe had good vibes.

Mandala is undoubtly a stunning and charming cafe that offers delicious food and a very friendly atmosphere. The menu has a wide range of vegan, gluten, dairy and sugar free options, and in all the meals i had there, each one was better than the previous.

Hands down the best place to eat in Agonda. Breakfast is delicious, lunch/bunch is perfection and dinner is out of this world. The staff are some of the friendliest, kindest and attentive human beings I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! The atmosphere of the Cafe is perfect for all! A MUST visit for anyone in or around Agonda!

I had a really nice time at this cafe. Got to meet people from so many countries while having my meal here. Since it’s next to one of the biggest Yoga Schools in Goa, the environment is very spiritual and holistic. I had a smoothie and muesli bowl here. Fresh ingredients and great presentation. The staff is also friendly and you can relax here as long as you like it.

Best place in Agonda hands down! Every time I go I want to order everything on the menu. Great coffee and the desserts are next level :)

We found this cute cafe based on mandala theme and it so beautiful..not just beautiful but their food was awesome . We had 3 meals there and ordered around 5-6 items , believe it all are so good in taste and presentation. They will take some time to prepare but it's worth the wait . Highly highly recommended this place.

This cafe is a place of contentment and love run by the kindest of humans. The food is fresh, vibrant and delicious with lots of gluten free and vegan options. I ate here for many of my meals breakfast, lunch and dinner. Yummy treats too like the rose brownie, a must have. This place is such a happy hub and is a must go.

If you are staying near Agonda beach then its a must visit place for Veg community. You get good veg food in snacks and lunch as well as dinner. Ear to the beach located from road. Creative ambience. Vibrant colors.

This place is located just 50 metres from the main road of Agonda beach. The food is absolutely good over here. We ordered different things over here. I don't remember the name but i am posting the photos. This place is serves food with great presentation skills. Even the staff were friendly. The main disappointment is that they take lot of time to prepare the food as we waited for almost 45 minutes Overall everything is great over hear.

My partner and I went to Mandala excited about the possibility of finding another nice place to get vegan food in Agonda but we left a little disappointed. We're staying in Agonda for two months so have plenty of experience of other restaurants and cafes around and Mandala had only just re-opened for the tourist season about two weeks ago so we waited until now to visit. The first thing I noticed when we went in was that there didn't seem to be anywhere to get water to drink, or none bought to the table after ordering to refresh yourself with while waiting for food to arrive. There was a table with complimentary hot chai outside the entrance, but no water which is a little strange. The atmosphere was nice and the interior design clearly aimed at western, young and trendy customers, which the restaurant was quite full of when we visited at about 1:30pm on a Sunday. A waiter bought us two menus but we found them a bit confusing because not all the items have prices, and there's no clear labelling of which dishes are vegan or vegetarian at all. We read the menus but didn't feel like eating anything so chose a couple of vegan (we could only tell that from the description of the ingredients as none were labelled vegan or given prices) shakes. I had the Peanut Butter Cup and my partner had the Smooth Love shake. When they arrived, they didn't look anything special, and sadly they didn't taste very special either. In fact the Smooth Love shake was quite bitter and tasted mostly of banana, not strawberries or other fruit like we hoped. I didn't take any pictures of the shakes because I was a little embarrassed to do that as they didn't look anything special. When I went to pay, I felt the waiter expected to receive the change as a tip but because of the service and experience we'd had so far, I didn't feel I needed to leave a tip. The prices that we could see where okay, but a little high for the quality we experienced, and there is a restaurant who's name rhymes with 'Best' just down the road that I would recommend instead if you want very high quality western-style vegan and vegetarian food with great service and value.

Mandala is like a second home! This is a family run place and the team really make you feel looked after. The food is all veggie/vegan and delicious, especially the scrambled tofu. Perfect place to relax, work on your laptop, or meet friends. Thank you Ilu and everyone at Mandala, we can’t wait to come back!

There is no better place in Agonda! I love every single dish on the menu :) Mandala is a vegetarian/vegan family owned place, and you can feel it! The vibe is relaxed, welcoming and very positive. Just go there and you will find yourself going back again and again✨🎈

I come to this place every year and the food has been amazing. It’s a perfect place for chai lovers, atmosphere is very welcoming and cozy. Being an Indian you might feel out-numbered by the foreign tourist but everyone is very nice to talk to. Some people have felt that the staff is ignoring them but in reality they are working very hard throughout the day and they can be a bit busy sometimes. Be patient as you will be served as soon as possible. It a great place to chill and have long conversations and for making new friends. I would recommend their avocado toast, spinach and mushroom omelette and masala chai.

Came here nearly everyday when I did my yoga training 4 years ago. Recently visited Agonda again with friends and this was a must. Everyone enjoyed and we ended up stopping through every day of our trip. You can’t go wrong with the menu. Everything is delicious from food, drinks, snacks, dessert. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating if you require any modifications. There’s lots of vegan/veggie friendly options. You can tell everything is made with love and fresh!🥰

Absolutely love this cafe, the aesthetic/ decor is beautiful which really drew me in when I saw it from the street. The food is delicious, a mix of authentic South Indian dishes alongside some Asian fusion/ Middle Eastern/ western dishes. We had the special tali which was very tasty and huge portions. Mandala Cafe has delicious breakfast. I loved how big the portion of avocado toast was, as well as super tasty. Also I liked the fast service and kindness of the staff. Highly recommend, one of the best breakfast in Goa!
