The hours posted are not accurate. It’s otherwise a nice location. There’s no hours on the building either so no source is reliable if you were hoping for a rental. Try calling before committing your family to plans.

Grindstone lake is awesome. Although the Damn House was closed when we visited, the area is simply amazing. What makes it great is it's proximity to mid town Ruidoso. It's about a 5 minute drive. Boating and fishing are available and you can rent kayaks on the lake. An on the lake water recreation area is also available with an inflatable rock climbing feature. I believe the water rec area is $20 per person.

The hours are inaccurate. We have tried to come multiple times and it is closed. Spoke to some locals and they said it's only open during certain times of the year. It would be nice to have the information accurately displayed so I can plan family trips accordingly

Absolutely beautiful. Great hiking trail. I could spend the day with a picnic and fishing pole.
Wendy Harden — Google review
My family and I were staying in Ruidoso and we were there from Las Cruces New Mexico getting my daughter from NMSU. We went out to grindstone for fishing loved it me and my daughter tried to hike the mountains but couldn't do it LOL but the fishing was great the weather was great it was a very nice Lake Big Lake full of people only said things Campground wasn't open there's a lot of people pulling in with campers and they had to turn around to leave because the campground was closed but other than that it was really nice like I said Lake was full bunch of people fishing caught a lot of trout

Beautiful lake and forest combination. This place is good for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. There is no alcohol permitted but I saw many guests that had brought alcohol anyways. It has bathrooms with running water which is great! It is very busy in the summer. 4 stars because you have to haul all of your belongings from parking to the lake. So, if you go far around the lake to find a spot you have to haul your ice chest, canopy, and other belongings. Otherwise, great experience and beautiful views. Our family had a great time!
Kristen Barreras — Google review
The lake is beautiful. Nice waters and super awesome hiking/biking trails all around. You can do it til your heart is content. The only downside is there is A LOT of people there and unfortunately they leave their trash behind. Take the trails to avoid the crowds. During two bike rides I didn’t encounter anyone on them. Such a shame because they offer amazing views.
Oliver Smith — Google review
What a great place to swim, paddle, fish, bike, or just hang out! Very family friendly and great for picnicking. There's a path all the way around the lake, so there's plenty of lake shore to find a secluded spot for hanging out. The dam is off limits, so you will need to hike or bike around on the trails to get to the far side. There are port-o-lets and trailer-based restrooms on the parking lot side and a ways down the path on the same side of the lake if you follow the wide path, but it is very primitive on the far side with only a single-track hiking/biking trail. We visited in July and the water was cool and refreshing (I would guess about 70°F). Entry fee is $5 per car, but free if you bike in. There's plenty of parking, but if you visit on the weekends, be aware that you may need a reservation. There's a boat launch and boathouse where they rent all sorts of watercraft, from paddle boats (leg-powered), to canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards. When we were there, there was also a food truck serving pizzas and other such food. The lake does not allow motor-powered craft, but I believe that electric fishing boat motors are allowed. Best to check, though. COVID-19: Masks are required, but in my experience, once in, not many people follow the rule.

Nice Lake at Ruidoso, NM. In Jan 2021, when we were there, some renovation works on road, base ongoing. Hopefully, after the work, whole place will be more charming. Boating was restricted due to COVID. Overall awesome lake nearby, especially who lives in El Paso TX.

We had a blast at this amazing winter park. We spend more than 5 hours there. First time for my teenage son. He loves ❤ The park has areas for little ones. Definitely I will recommend visiting this place.
Ayleen Oriel — Google review
It was our first visit & we had an amazing time! Rented the heated igloo & enjoyed all the VIP benefits for the whole day. Customer service was great! It’s perfect for all ages. Drove in from out of state to enjoy & it was definitely worth it! (Ski apparel recommended)
C Tovar — Google review
We visited in March and had a blast! There was about 10 slides open each have different speeds. We bought tickets online which made it easier getting in. They have jackets, bibs and boots for rent. I rented a bib and it was only $10. I’m glad I did bc my jeans would have been soaked. The snow melts and there is puddles of water everywhere so be prepared. Plenty of picnic tables to take a break and/or eat. Great park, highly recommend.
Karrie Krell — Google review
The kids and I had a great time on the mountain coaster, zip line and tubing. Food was good and the fresh squeezed lemonade was great. I would give the bathrooms a 1 star, they were very dirty.
Dave Greenleaf — Google review
Our family loved coming to this winter park! My kids are 7 through 13 and they all had a blast! Even my 7 year old daughter loved the coaster and the snow slopes! Highly recommend this place! Buy your tickets online so you don’t wait in line at the park and get there early! There are food trucks and restrooms and a fire pit to keep warm next to.
Karilyn Pyle — Google review
Our family had so much fun at this winter park! We traveled from another state mainly to snow tube here. It did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and helpful (I went into the gift shop looking to buy some children’s Motrin for my daughter, they did not have any but the lady at the cash register called someone and they brought over some children’s chewable Tylenol- it was nice of them) the food is good from the food trucks and reasonably priced. I got a little worried when I read some of the bad reviews but we didn’t experience anything bad. Tips to have a good experience- go on a weekday that is also a bonus day (you get to stay all day vs a 3 hour time limit for almost the same price) we went on a Friday and it was not crowded at all there were no lines for the tubing or the food trucks. Definitely recommend wearing ski clothes to stay dry. They rent snow bibs for $12. There is a large area where the big tubing lanes are where you can play in the snow. We will definitely be back!
Tiffany Bentley — Google review
Wow! Such amazing customer service the other day when we took our boys to tube and zip line. The tube ride was fast and fun and the joy on our faces as we zoomed down was priceless! I really appreciate how patient and kind Kay and the staff were with our boys who were trying to work through fears of doing the zip line. They even let them practice a bit to get comfortable before they took off. It made all the difference and our boys were so proud of pushing through their fears and getting to zip line together at the same time!! Can’t recommend this place enough whether winter or summer time!
Jesslyn Adams — Google review
This is a great addition to Ruidoso! Be sure to check in at the ticket area before getting in line at the ride. Super fun and will go again!! Thanks!
Amy Turner — Google review
Avoid this place at all cost. Bought tubing tickets with the kids, literally stood in line for an hour for a 15 second slide, tickets are good for only 3 hours... Only 3 runs open, tubes were worn out and dirty as hell. Biggest tourist trap in town.
Benedek Gál — Google review
A spectacular place!! 2nd time there and no disappointment. This time was better than last year because our baby now reaches the height for chutes 1 to 4, so we could share much more time together as family. It was very crowded but getting the tickets online is a must, because when we arrived the lines were full, and in the sales windows they told us were not going to sell more tickets. So if you want you're place granted must buy online with anticipation. Love this place!

My wife and I came here in a large group of three families-- most of which are younger parents and kids ranging from 5 to 16 years. Everyone enjoyed the snow tubing-- especially because snow is rare where we are from (El Paso, Texas). The park is well staffed-- ensuring quality service and safety. The conveyor belt ski lifts are a great feature! The only precautionary comment I have is that if you are not good for spinning or high velocity rides, start off slow and work your way to faster/steeper rides. My wife and I are not the most daring amusement park participants, but we participated 4-6 times! The younger members rode many more times! Another positive is the Food Trucks-- which sell a wide variety of snacks, goodies, and drinks! :-)

We had a great time, twilight hours get you in for several hours at the end of the day and saves money. It was busy but even though the lines looked intimidating they went fast. Not something I’d do all day but 2-3 hours is great. There are conveyer like belts that take you up to the top (only downer bc I was actually hoping to climb and get some exercise). Be careful they are slippery. Also if you have a small child <8-9 have them go down with you first. Brings either googles or glasses, when you stop you place your feet on the ground and get a face full of snow. And wear layers we all had on a lot and were comfortable! There are plenty of food trucks, but I didn’t eat anything from there. It was a perfect afternoon activity!! Especially since we all didn’t have our snowboards for ski Apache.

Went during Labor Day, went early and got right in. The coaster was great and the kiddos had a blast. Recommend

Bought tickets online a few days before. We went to go get wristbands when we arrived and we waited about 15 minutes in that line. The young lady behind the counter was kinda rude and not helpful, she said we paid for our 3 and 4 year old (5 and under is free) I showed her the email where they are free and we got them the free tickets. We got our wristbands and went to go stand in line to ride the mountain rollercoaster. We waited 2 hours. When we got to the front of the line the guy asked for our tickets. We told them the young lady only gave us wristbands and no tickets. The guy let us get on because we waited so long. We realized everyone else was given tickets but us. The ride stoped as we just got on because someone took their seatbelt off while riding. It took about 15 minutes to get back up and running. The workers who were fixing it were nice and the guy up top at the rollercoaster was also very sweet and talkative and explained everything. It was a short 2 minute ride. I wouldn’t do it again if I had to wait more then 30 minutes. It was fun but short. Make sure they give you the tickets to go on the ride, not sure why the girl gave everyone else tickets but us.

Took the family for some tubing in the snow on Christmas Day. Alot of people on location but parking was adequate, lines moved pretty fast. They had 4 chutes for beginners and 3 higher chutes. They also have a toddler tubing area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a food truck court with everything you could want. Prices were very reasonable. We did not try the zip line or Scraming Eagle coaster but the lines were not long. Overall a great experience!

To Ruidoso Winter Park and it's owner Tom. My wife, daughter, husband and my four grandkids had an amazing time. Kate and Dani were so polite and helpful to make our experience a great one. We are from Texas and will definitely make this trip again. We all recommend that you should go and enjoy. Stacy Breihan

Great and fun for all ages. Wish prices were cheaper but I'm glad my children had fun. They are 3 and 7. At least my little was free. Roller coaster was our absolute favorite. Better to go earlier fewer people.
Charity Williams — Google review
Loved the igloo rental. Didn’t have to worry about our stuff and had a place to come rest at in between activities. Friendly hostess to help with all our needs. Roller coaster was fun but wish you could ride more than once.
Kathleen K Miller — Google review
I have mixed opinions about this place. It's $38 +tax for 3 hours (or other packages avail), they have 3 slope areas: 3 lanes that are steep, 4 that are medium and then a kiddie area. If you're looking for a snowy winter vibe, this is not it. This place is made snow to tube. They have food trailers on site (pretty expensive imo or if you don't mind paying $7 for corn in a cup or $8 for a bag of hot cheetos with cheese then it's for you), wait times vary on day and slope you go on, however I will say the steeper slope area we waited longer. Overall, it was okay, somewhat overrated, but still cool to check out.
Vasquez Squad — Google review
Wonderful time crowded but you could easily move around even though long lines to tubing chute it went pretty fast. My 1 1/2 yr old granddaughter loved the bunny tube chute for her she went about ten times. Even though I didn’t buy any food, the food trucks looked great and prices were real cheap. Get there early and you’re in fir a great time. Steve from Stephenville, Texas

The Inn of the Mountain Gods is a vast property that offers modest accommodations, a swimming pool, and golf facilities. It also features live performances and informal dining options. The resort and casino cater to different interests, making it enjoyable for everyone. Although gambling is available on-site, the venue is non-smoking which adds to the comfort of guests who prefer cleaner air.
I always love coming to this particular resort and casino. I am not a gambler so spend very little time in casino but I Love that is is non smoking so I don't have to hold my breath as I walk buy and I can play a little if the mood strikes. The lounge has great drinks and Wendel's is amazing. The amenities that can be book on the reservation are endless and all are well curated and tended to. Try everything you can while your here and enjoy yourself thoroughly.

This was our second stay at the hotel and it seems Covid is still effecting the hotel. We had stayed here about 10 years ago and it was nice and comfortable--and definitely busier. The common areas are very spare, table and chairs but no decorations of any sort. The restaurant was not busy but we were told "happily we are taking walk-ins tonight" We asked to sit by the window and were told the waitstaff needed to be rotated so we had to sit elsewhere. I guess the restaurant is run for the waitstaff not the customer. The food was good but not exceptional for the price. The waitress was very professional, nice and attentive. Our room was a very large (coincidentally handicapped accessible) suite so two balconies and lots of space. 1 and 1/2 bathrooms, very comfortable clean bed. Bathroom had lots of towels and condiments, Jacuzzi bath tub. The hotel over all was very quiet and peaceful. There was no noise from the casino. The bar looks permanently closed. There are a couple of casual places to eat. Overall the hotel/casino seemed to have not awoken from the pandemic yet.

If you are used to luxury DO NOT stay here. As other reviewers have said the staff is incredibly rude and not accommodating at all. Clearly management does not care so i’m leaving this review to warn future patrons. The views are beautiful. This hotel has a lot of potential. The rooms look like they have been redone but i was grossed out by the cloth shower curtain. The shower curtain had mold on the edges. I highly doubt it is washed in between stays. I would have over looked this if it wasn’t for the staff. It is literally every single staff member in every single area of the hotel.

We had a lovely stay at the resort. Our room was HUGE and had a beautiful view of the Lake/mountains. The Casino was so clean and the slots paid out for me! The Food Court and Broken Arrow restaurants were great....excellent friendly helpful staff and yummy food! Wendell's Lounge was very nice and bartender Patrick was terrific! We could not have had a nicer experience. Check-in was timely, we arrived at 4pm and our room key was waiting for us. The front desk staff were very friendly and kind. Every staff member we interacted with was cheerful and happy to help. It was a fabulous experience at the resort and we will definitely be back!

We recently moved to New Mexico and live only a little over an hour drive to Inn of the Mountain Gods. We visited the casino today for the first time and had a great time!!! The drive there is beautiful and the inn's location is breathtakingly gorgeous. The casino was spotless and any employees we met were friendly and helpful. The slots were very kind to both of us and we got to try Wahlburgers for the first time ever. Can't wait to go back!!!
Debra Kay — Google review
The resort is a beautiful setting. Needs an update but very clean and pleasant. Just very frustrating it appears to be dealing with staffing issues just as anywhere else. One restaurant we were quoted a 45 minute wait despite having to wait well over an hour. Restaurant was half empty. Then next night had reservations at Wendell’s which is the fine dining restaurant, reservation meant nothing. We had reservations for horse back riding. They didn’t even have horseback riding available apparently. No call or anything to tell us of this. Also wanted to zip line but they said they were booked. Not one person zip lined all day, we know because our room overlooked the zip line. It’s fine if these services are closed due to staffing issues but don’t act like they are available to get customers then lie about why they aren’t available. We observed a very nice lady at the check in desk for many hours, eating at the counter. Very nice but she was obviously not able to take a break. Felt bad for her. Anyway, I rarely write negative reviews but wanted to set expectations at this resort. Huge potential but right now I would find somewhere else to stay if you are expecting resort services. I want to finish with the staff that are working have been friendly. Just too much work to do and too few to do it.

*Update: we stayed here for 5 nights and could not get a maid to clean our room even once. We called for service twice but the first time, they said we had to leave for them to clean. We said we were leaving for church in 30 minutes and they said they would come back but never did. The second time they just didn't show up. We were able to have them deliver sheets for the sofa bed and some fresh towels, but that was it. Beautiful property but not great service and I would have expected water glasses in the suite, not just two coffee cups. Fortunately, we brought a lot of our own stuff due to it being the holidays. On a positive note, the food court is great. I think that just opened this year and we ate at several of the places there and the food was outstanding, with fast and friendly service. We are staying at Inn of the Mountain Gods right now and it is fantastic. It is beautiful and there are so many things to do without even leaving the hotel. Our room is clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the lake. The suite fridge is tiny, but it's not designed to be a kitchenette. One of the plastic coffee cups is cracked, but I am sure we won't have a problem getting a replacement (or extras). It is an expensive hotel, but we feel like it is still a good value and will be back!

If you book a room here at this place. Make sure everything in the room works before booking make sure you make them go check.. also make sure it’s clean. I usually don’t like to write bad reviews but everything including the staff was not right. We stayed in room 719. We walked in and the room had left over food in the fridge from the last people. The bed looked as if they rushed everything together.. bed lighting was not working had to connect it myself.. I called and told them about these issues and they took a long time to come correct them. Also noticed the outside patio light was out had them tell maintenance about it and he didn’t even show I called a second time to know if he did or didn’t because I didn’t know if he had stopped by or not didn’t even leave a note. He shows up late just to tell me he can’t fix it. I’m like you could have told the lady at the front she could have told me that herself. already really bad communication between staff… we go to bed it starts to get super cold I go to turn on the Heater and no batteries on the thermostat.. we had. A super cold night…. I tried to take the batteries from the remote and guess what.. batteries are dead.. experience for my wife & I was a -0 staff wasn't friendly at all. Except for the restroom cleaning crew down stairs they had the best attitude. Thumbs up for them. This place needs to get it together. Too bad I can’t upload photos and videos..
Noe Ruiz — Google review
Never going here again. They always have a very bad attitude. From the casino to the hotel representatives. They should give them more customer service trainings. We spend thousands of dollars a month at this place, and we get treated very poorly every time. It's like they only want locals there. Well, good thing we can go to Sunland Park casino. People are nicer, and we have won more money there anyways. Good bye Inn of the Mountain Gods, and good luck to your business with that attitude.

Went today for my birthday, Sept. 23rd, hoping to at least be able to play. Wasn't expecting to walk out with anything, but was expecting I'd at least be there for a while playing. Nope. $250 down in less than 25 minutes. It literally took me longer to park than the amount of time I spent playing on the machines. I never walk into a casino expecting to walk out a winner. But I do expect that the machines will at least let me play. I should've been in there for at least an hour or more with $250. I played 7-10 machines, and not a single one let me play. Very disappointing. On a different note, the name of the restaurant, Broken Arrow, very ironically fits. BROKEN. The staff are extremely rude and make it very well known they hate their jobs.

Stayed 4 nights with a large group in room #175- king lake side - the room was fabulous! A/C did not work the first night so I called it in the next morning and they fixed it- when I needed extra water they brought it. They do not do housekeeping unless you request it and when you request it- its done. The staff here are very welcoming and eager to help answer any questions you have. The resort is clean and pretty. There is not much nearby but they have many amenities right here. I would stay here again most definitely. Restaurant food was very good. I will say that I spent time in the casino and never saw any jackpots and the slot machines sucked the money in with hardly ever any payouts. The only ads I heard over the loud speaker were for the locals to enter to win?? Never heard that b4 at other casinos. The casino staff were very nice and always spoke when passing by.

Honestly, I was expecting a lot more from this resort. My husband reserved a deluxe room online, and upon us getting to the resort, the room wasn't ready! We had to wait an additional 2 hours just to get into our room! Upon entering the room, I could tell they didn't do a good job cleaning because there was dust and hair above the bed! They do have a few eateries at the resort that you can enjoy, but none of the tables were cleaned after patrons had finished eating. We ordered room service for breakfast, and a robot brought our food, which was interesting. I wish they would have cleaned the inside of the service bot before our food was delivered. We paid $57.60 for two breakfast plates (omelet and scrambled eggs), and I would expect my food to be piping hot for this price tag! Overall, there are beautiful scenic views, but I won't return.

SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. First let me say we checked in and our a/c wasn’t working, the engineer team fixed it, they were great and fast. The iPad to control/share information didn’t work in room. Beds made a lot of noise and squeaked, pillows were nice though. Bed sucked. There was a man named John during reservation process that was kind and helped. It took him to finally change a reservation that 2 others said “I can’t do it”.Took four separate calls to make a simple change happen. The wait for anything to be done at the tap house was horrible. The food was not great. The bartender at sports bar told us “I’ll get to your drinks when I can if you can’t tell I’m busy” when we asked for a Red Bull after waiting to even be recognized over 7 minutes, when there were 9 people at the bar; not that busy. Front desk female staff never smiled and was always on phones. Very unwilling to help. The kid in gift shop needed help, he was making coffees and ringing up guests, there was a line out the door. I will say valet service was kind and a bartender in tap house was also kind when approached, only smile seen in whole restaurant. Besides that, I’m not sure if other staff are inexperienced or just hate their jobs but customer service was not good. The greens on the golf course were not what they used to be, so dry and dead grass everywhere. This hotel used to be a main attraction and wonderful to stay at. It’s sad to see the ground go some and just to be welcomed by such horrible attitudes and unwilling to help with the front desk staff. We had left messages for front desk manager 3 times and still haven’t been called back day 3. Front desk staff said “I can’t” many times to things that were simple. Talking to other guests they all felt the same way. This place has so much potential if given the adequate staff. Would love to see this place back where it used to be. Working in hotel management my whole life, the front desk and those who answer the phone are your first impression and the heart of the customer interaction and the females at the front desk majorly dropped the ball with this one. Hope to go back and enjoy it how we used to. Takes a lot to write a bad review but after calling to speak with someone and being on hold for 24 minutes then disconnected, then hung up on two other times after that it prompted me to do this. Hope to see some good changes if we decide to go back.

The rooms are very clean and spacious. If you get the chance make sure to get a room with a view over the lake and mountains. Beautiful! Plenty of great food choices too. I haven't used their spa services yet but I hear they're wonderful. And of course the casino is lots of fun too. They're customer service is excellent.

I stay here monthly during a week for work. Unfortunately, the advertised activities are mostly only open during the weekends only. Many of the food places in the new market are even closed Mon-Wed. The Inn needs to figure out housekeeping services and start providing it daily; pay workers more (?)! The cleanliness of the rooms has taken a hit over the past 1.5 years; during this stay, there was hair in the tub and a strong foul odor coming from the drains. I have enjoyed occasional blackjack and the slots seem well-maintained for the slot zombies. The balconies are a nice touch for many of the rooms. This place has nice bones and could be so much more! Lots of positives but they have a lot to work on.

Service is decent, but why is there attitude when ordering at broker arrow restaurant? Why do you make the customer feel like he can’t ask question and he’s doing you a favor by coming and staying at your hotel? what kind of hotel doesn’t have room service at 10pm? Which there was more options in this area. Employees should be paid based on customer satisfaction, not by the hour. Please let us know once fixed and I would like a do-over.

I've always wanted to stay here because I love Ruidoso! The room was fantastic, with a lake view and a balcony. The food choices were good too, as my 20+ kids and my husband were with me and we all like different things. We also enjoyed the indoor pool, hot tub and the casino as well. We had a great time! The staff is friendly and answered all our questions.

Outstanding place to relax and unwind. A beautiful place to enjoy the scenery. Staff are not very friendly or helpful. Two separate days I had to ask multiple times for towels, water, and toilet paper and still did not get all of them. I reached out to them 5 times the second day. Some staff just do not care about guess, which is very sad, as this is one of the most beautiful hotels and scenery I have ever seen. This is my 6 visit and this is by far the most disappointing. My wife and I come here every other year to celebrate our anniversary. We will be have to reconsider, but I do love the view.

Everything was excellent!!! Especially Broken Arrows legendary bartender Donald! He was very friendly outgoing attentive and made excellent drinks! The food was great too and overall a very pleasant atmosphere! The bar in the casino has 3 employees that provided us with excellent service and mixed drinks! Big kudos to Joe, Joel, and Rene. We did not come across anyone who wasn’t friendly and respectful. Keep up the great work… oh by the way we didn’t win any money but had lots of fun trying anyway! 😊

I have been going to the Inn of the mountain gods for years. I always enjoy myself. The rooms are sufficient with great views of a lake and a wonderful little patio to sit and have your morning coffee. I've always found the service to be good. Up until this stay I had never dined at Wendell's. DISAPPOINTED! I ordered the NM wagyu steak. Med rare. The edge on one side was med rare the rest was cooked up to med well.No pinkness!. For 95 $ I had to send it back. Another thing is at a certain price point you expect a certain level of service. Service was as good as a one star corner diner. Except for the gentleman who helped me when I couldn't find my waitress. Mind you I was at first seating with very few people. He was superb. The table linen was linty and the centerpieces dusty. Not being picky, but again at a certain price point one expects more. Next time I would rather eat from their little convenience store . Note: they did do another steak perfectly and comped me a dessert. Though the waitress never picked up plates or discards.

Gorgeous setting. Rooms are dated, cleaning is not 100%. Food options on main level appeal to those that enjoy bar / fast food. Beer selections are good. Front desk service is lackluster, disinterested in resolving issues and outdated (return key card to front desk to check out). Pool area is being renovated but still in use. Casino smells of cigar smoke. Nice setting downstairs for cocktails and upscale dinner options.

The five stars are for one of the dealers at the craps table named Kevin. He was very patient with the people in my group learning to play craps and everybody had a blast. Some of the dealers could learn a thing or two from him in terms of patience and tact. Overall we had a great time and just wanted to give props where it was due!

The location of this casino is AMAZING. The view of the lake and forest alone is worth the visit! We were driving from Arizona and searched for a place to eat. I saw that there was a casino in the middle of nowhere and decided to visit. The restaurant was great and the table games were fun. I definitely plan to come back and stay a few days to enjoy the ambience.

The resort exceeded my expectations. The view is breathtaking and the Mescalero Apache homeland is just gorgeous. I was with my kids so no casino for us. Our room had a beautiful view complete with wild horses grazing across the lake. The room was clean and really spacious. We ate at the brewery and the food court. Both were good. The front desk staff were kind and friendly. Our neighbor was a little noisy, playing music but quieted down for quiet hours. Much appreciated. The pool is due for a facelift but it was clean and warm, as was the hot tub. The ladies locker room (adjacent) has a steam room and a sauna. So nice! I recommend a stay.

Last December I visited Ski Apache with my family. The place is awesome with friendly and helpful staffs. Although we were not able to ski as we were travelling with a 2 and 4 years old. We were simply enjoying the place while watching other people skiing and my children playing.

Rude personnel and unorganized. I tried returning the rentals 10mins later after buying them and some red curly haired lady who never gave us her name told us to come back the next day and talk to the supervisor. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we took the rentals back home 3 hours away. A week later we went back to return and they took them no questions asked and when I asked to talk to the supervisor it was the same red curly hair lady that had told us no. I wasted an u unecessary amount of time in gas to return the rentals. One day later I get called by the ski shop in the mountain asking me to return the rentals. I try talking to management but they told me each location has its own personnel. I am not sure what to do now and can’t afford getting charged for something I spend time and gas to return

Breakfast restaurant
The Cornerstone Bakery & Cafe is a cozy spot known for its breakfast plates, sandwiches, salads, pastries, and cookies. The friendly staff creates a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay and savor everything they offer. Whether it's their freshly baked green chili bread, delectable cinnamon rolls, or satisfying Mexican lunch options, you're sure to leave feeling full and content after experiencing the down-to-earth charm of this cafe.
The portions are a great size and the food was delicious. The staff was very energetic and friendly, open to make suggestions and overall did a great job handling a 10 person party. Will definitely return for the coffee bar & homemade biscuits.

The food was good, loved the french toast. The Caramel latte was quite sweet. There is a bit of confusion when you first arrive and order, one of the hostess/order takers was short with customers and didn't explain much. If you want to sit inside and need to wait no one explains to you how this will work as seating is as you order and each customer finds their own. Even though it was a bit on the busier side when we arrived, our food did come out pretty quickly. We also had several servers checking on on our table. Additionally, (like most businesses in Ruidoso we discovered) no one is following the state mask mandate. While eating we could hear a loud deep cough from the kitchen followed a member of the wait staff yelling, "Cover your mouth!" The kitchen staffer yelled back, "I did!" With a state that has such a high number of covid cases right now, no one wearing a mask in a restaurant working with food is concerning. Especially in a town filled with tourists.

Went here 2 days this past weekend. First day the ordering was alright. The girl taking our orders (there were 5 of us) wouldn't let us make separate orders she said the waiter would separate everything for us. We had multiple mistakes on the order the first day but the waiter was great and fixed everything. They also charged us a $30 service charge. The club sandwich was delicious and the crapes were very good the salmon salad was great and the baked goods were great. The second day I wasn't very hungry so I opted for just a lemonade and a cup of fruit salad. They wouldn't allow me to make a separate order again so we all had to put the stuff on one order. The lemonade was pure sugar water and completely un drinkable the $4 fruit salad consisted of thawed out frozen pineapple old strawberries and old grapes. There were lots of mistakes on the orders again and they charged a service charge yet again. My lemonade, fruit cup and loaf of bread costed $21 after the tax service charge and the baked good they added to my order by mistake. Overall most of the food was great but the communication between staff and the entire ordering system is terrible. I hope the issues are resolved so that others don't have to have the same problems

I recently visited Cornerstone Bakery & Cafe and had a mixed experience. The food was delicious, and the staff was attentive. The menu offered plenty of choices to suit various tastes. However, I was disappointed to find that many items were out of stock during my visit. Additionally, when I ordered a to-go lunch, the fries were cold upon arrival. Despite these issues, the overall dining experience was satisfactory.

Poor customer service. Ordering & seating arrangement is confusing. Food did arrive quickly but the cheese on my omelet wasn't melted, potatoes were cold, & saddest of all my coffee was cold! It was the quite the ordeal to get the slice of pie we ordered. However, we did like the cool bottle that held the water 😁

Really great food. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Unfortunately our food took about an hour to come out of the kitchen. We were a party of two, so it wasn’t like we were a large group. As good as it was, that’s a while to wait for a sandwich.
Angela Trejo — Google review
First, Cornerstone has been a much loved breakfast spot for my family over the past fifteen years we’ve vacationed together in Ruidoso. As usual, the wait staff was kind and attentive, but that was the only positive in this experience. Unfortunately, it bece quite clear that the quality of the food has gone WAY down, and the menu prices have gone up. The price change is understandable in the current economic conditions, but there is no excuse for serving low quality food to people. The “rosemary home-fried potatoes” looked more like frozen from Costco. The “fresh squeezed OJ” was served from a lemonade style machine; no actual oranges in sight. The biscuits were dry, and they were out of real maple syrup (surcharged) and only had high fructose corn syrup with artificial maple flavor to go with the pancakes. We will miss coming here. I feel so sorry for the hard-working wait staff that end up with unhappy costumers due to bad food.
Natalie Gowler — Google review
Unusual process for ordering. You order in one area, they give you a table number which you then have to find. You pay at your table. However, food and service are great. It can get very busy with a 20 or 30 minute wait. Parking can be an issue as well but it is worth the wait. I had a half sandwich which was plenty. (Pictured is a half order of their version of a French dip, great). Most likely the busiest place in Ruidosa. Try to visit in off prime time. Even the lowly potatoe salad was really good. Place, excluding parking was ADA complainant and they had a really nice enclosed heated outdoor patio. I will be back often.

This is a very good breakfast restaurant. The Vietnamese coffee was excellent. I've been to Vietnam and it definitely tastes like what you would get there. Good prices. Good quick service. Great tasting breakfast. Highly recommended.
Doug Thompson — Google review
A little different on service, menus line the outside walls with the intent that you make all your decisions up front as you request your table. Whole groups must order together regardless of intent to split bills. A larger group was easily accommodated right in front of us. Food was brought out quickly and each plate was delicious. The green chili was flavorful but not hot at all. Crepes were amazing and light. My wife's over medium eggs on the huevos rancheros were done perfectly. Worth the wait. Very filling. The coffee and chai tea were delicious as well! A minor issue was immediately corrected. The staff was attentive and extremely friendly.

Restaurant
Hall of Flame Burgers is a casual counter-serve grill in Ruidoso, known for its creative burger toppings, fries, and onion rings. It's popular among locals as the go-to place for the best burgers in the city. The restaurant takes great care in crafting their burgers, ensuring top-notch quality from the meat to the flavorful toppings. In addition to their delicious burgers, they also serve excellent Philly cheesesteaks.
Decided to try this place while on vacation. Let me just say wow! Amazing food, the onion rings are big and crispy. The Philly was incredible. Not only do they have great food the service and staff were awesome. We will definitely be going back!

The line can get long at this place, but stay the course! The burgers are tremendously good! Patty was just the right amount of done, the bacon was crispy, vegetables were fresh and the lettuce was crisp. Will definitely return upon my next visit to Ruidoso.

Do yourself a favor and try this place. The burgers are out of this world. I had the Hatch Chile Burger & my husband ordered the Southwest. Mine was better ;) But both were really good. Fries & onion rings were crisped to perfection. Prices were reasonable. This is one of the best things you’ll eat in Ruidoso! Be mindful of restaurant hours. Everything closes early in this town.

Pleasantly surprised about the quality and flavor of these burgers. The Southwestern is delicious. The only downside: no beers sold.
Miguel Castro — Google review
Yeah... IM SOLD! Place was pretty busy compared to everything else in town, but some how we found a parking spot right in front. We ordered a burger and fries and a Philly cheese steak with cheese fries. The burger was just good and so were the fries but the highlight was definitely the Philly cheese steak! Not messy like a true Philly cheese steak but damnnn good. They also served it with an aju sauce to dip it in which just added to its greatness. I found if you really soaked your Philly in the sauce for a 15-20seconds it almost turns the sandwich into a French dip. Overall a sold place and will definitely be our go to when we go back to Ruidoso! The burgers are good but I will definitely order the Philly cheese steak!!!

Food was delicious! I think the serving size of the fries was a little small for the price but it was very good either way. I had the Southwest burger and was NOT disappointed. My mom has the Lone Star burger and she said it was delicious. They also have a black peach tea and that is so tasty with your meal!

I love the brioche buns and the park fries! We got 2 kids burgers, the mushrooms swiss burger, and the southwest. We were sad they were out of beer batter jalapeños. Overall great service and filling portions.

I ordered the Fire Roasted Hatch Green Chile w/ Cheddar & Hatch Chile Fries. The burger tasted very good. Even though they seemed stingy w/ the condiments ( mayo, mustard & lettuce ). See my burger below. So I got a couple of mayo & mustard packets. The fries were good, but once again they were also stingy w/ the fries & the cheese. I could almost count the fries by looking directly @ them. They also put very little cheese on the fries. See cheese fries w/ burger pic below. Also 1 last thing, their Dr. Pepper was a little flat. Would come here again ? Yes, but I would order the FRHGC Burger w/ regular fries
Frank Gutierrez — Google review
Restaurant is located in the Four Seasons mall. Wasn’t busy when we went, staff was nice checked up on us regularly. I got the Chicken Salad and my mom got the Chicken Tacos with a side of parmesan fries. My salad had some questionable pieces of spinach that I pushed to the side. It was very underwhelming but the chicken was pretty good. Overall, I would not recommend it whatsoever. The fries were also undercooked and not very appetizing. Great atmosphere, good staff, just don’t order a salad at a burger place.

We were passing through and looking for lunch, and this place looked good from the reviews so we have it a go. And BOY was it worth it! The hamburgers were delicious -we had the Southwestern and the Hawaii- and the sides were great too. The fries and onion rings were crispy and savory without being greasy. The food was cooked well and the wait wasn’t too long. In all, it was a great experience!

Excellent burgers and sandwiches! The restaurant is inside a center with multiple stores. You walk up to register, order and they bring you the food. The place was packed and parking was a little bit of a challenge. Would definitely recommend and return in the future.

Came to eat after our daughter’s gymnastics competition and it was great. Place was very authentic and absolutely delicious burger, green chili. Kids enjoyed the chicken tenders . This place reminds me of local restaurant and no corporate feel. The server was a great kid and even acknowledged our kids table. Guy was very manner and polite.
gama mendez — Google review
Cute place inside the mall. The burgers were very heavily seasoned with salt and pepper. It was a burger that probably could have used half of the seasoning and would have been absolutely amazing. It was on the level of just too much for seasoning for how thin the burger is. The beer battered fries are amazing and the onion rings were wonderful. They offer parmesan fries or green chili and cheese fries. The kids chicken strips were super tasty too.

Restaurant
Cafe Rio Pizza is a popular spot in Ruidoso, NM, known for its mouthwatering East Coast-style pizzas crafted from scratch using fresh local ingredients. The laid-back place is decorated with flags and license plates, offering a cozy atmosphere to enjoy their specialty selections or customize your own pizza. Their menu features heavy-on-crust pizzas bursting with flavor, including options like The Kitchen Sink and sweeter choices like the Carolina-Style BBQ Chicken or The Connoisseur.
We had to wait about an hour for our pizza, but it was definitely worth it. We were able to walk up and down the shops and buy a few items before grabbing our pizza. After getting back to the cabin we dove in. Still hot and crispy this pizza was delicious. You shouldn’t leave Ruidoso without getting a pie! Enjoy!

Grungy pizza place in the heart of Ruidoso. The Portuguese kale soup was phenomenal – it even had a little kick. The pizza was also delicious & the perfect size for 1-2 people. We customized ours. We also had local sodas that were pretty tasty. If you’re ordering or dining in, call HOURS ahead – or go in person to jot your name down. Actually, just go in person. They get really busy (but I can see why)!

Stopped by when we were out shopping and got an order of the spicy cheese bread....omg amazing 😍. Best cheesy bread EVER. The marinara was flavorful and delicious. So dinner time rolls around and we ordered a cheese pizza. It was tasty. Thin crust. The only negative is that it is take out only, located downtown, so parking can be tricky but WORTH IT!! There is a public parking lot behind the pizza shop if you turn at the light.

3rd time visiting and we made it there right after they opened so we didn't have a wait!! As always, a friendly staff greeted us and gave recommendations and provided a great ambiance and experience. Today my niece and I enjoyed the spicy cheesy breadsticks and shared a 12" pizza w pepp, Italian sausage & mush on one side and Hawaiian-style on the other half. The breadsticks are not spicy, have a perfect red pepper kick and the marinara sauce is delicious. The pizza was great as usual! Even w so many topping on it the crust was still crispy and chewy! I keep thinking I'm going to try something new but the pizza is so good I haven't tried a salad or anything else yet. Next time!

Cozy little restaurant in the middle of town. We got there at 3pm and waited about 10mns for a table- they seem to stay very busy. Started out with their Portuguese kale soup filled with sausage, kidney beans, kale and cabbage. It was nice and hearty with just the right amount of heat. My wife and I shared their Tuscan pizza - dough and toppings were delightful. One of the best pizza I've ever had. The only thing that could have made it better would have been a cold beer, but they unfortunately don't serve alcohol. Great pizza, great service - a must try.

Our server was wonderful, helpful and attentive. The pizza was amazing! Great flavor of garlic and Italian seasoning, the right amount of cheese and mushrooms. So good! Variety of menu items from BBQ, burgers, salads, wings, seafood and Italian. Our table order- calamari (marinara is not spicy at all) , lasagne, 2 burgers and a chicken finger basket. All plates were cleaned! I would definitely say the burgers were way above average. Cooked perfect, so flavorful and juicy!
Karrie Krell — Google review
Made it out to Rio Grande to try out their wings and other things, we've been hearing good reviews from others. We were not disappointed!! The parking looks bad from the street but there's some behind the building. We ordered wings, spinach artichoke dip, fish & chips and finished it off w a carrot cake. Also ordered drinks; root beer and the hard tea. The wings were fantastic! Perfectly crispy and not too saucy. We ordered 2 orders of 6 so we could try both the spicy boq and the honey sriracha sauces. They were not too spicy or too sweet, a very good blend of the flavors. The carrot cake was devine!! The best cake we have had in Ruidoso so far! Our server actually recommended the cake to us and I'm very glad he did! The spinach artichoke dip was okay, I wouldn't order it again. It was a little too cheesy and more spinach than artichoke and was lacking flavor. The fish & chips were alright, again I wouldn't order them a second time. A little too much batter on the fish and the tartar sauce was bland and the coleslaw was watery. The chips were perfect though!! Best fry I've had around Ruidoso so far! The root beer was delicious and their hard tea was pretty good, we were offered a chance to buy some to-go which was cool. The restaurant is really cozy too, all wood and warmth, and the tables are located upstairs. That was nice bc you can be away from the bar area to enjoy your meal w a more restaurant feel upstairs. Definitely recommend and we look forward to going back to try some burgers and steak!

An entire experience all on its own. The best burger we’ve ever had. Seared but yet juicy. Perfect explosion of flavor upon first bite. Passion for creating culinary delicacy out of something, one might consider, ordinary like a burger is easily perceived. The cheese to meat ratio was on point. The texture of the ground meat was something we’d never experienced before. Not over mixed to create a not so condensed texture. The steak fries were phenomenal. The perfect bonus was the variety of great brews to accompany a marvelous meal. We had the sandwich as well. Don’t believe other reviews about the best burger in town being in any other restaurant but here. Compliments to the chef. Sherry was an absolute delight to have as our waitress. Super knowledgeable and above par service. Tried several restaurants while in Ruidoso and this place stood out on every level even compared to the higher priced ones. Do yourself a favor and make your trip to Ruidoso complete by adding a one of a kind dining experience.

I like their chicken wings but we had a very bad experience dining here. The pork ribs are raw inside and we notified one of the waiter, he just asked us straightly if we ordered it rare? Excuse me, how can we possibly order RAW pork ribs? Anyway, we just asked him to take it back to the kitchen. The other waitresses are friendly and nice, 2 stars are for them.

I don't like giving negative reviews on one visit, but here it goes. I wish you could give 1/2 stars; this is more of a 3.5-star review. We went on a weekday so there was plenty of space and the service was quick. We ate on the balcony, which was nice, but they allow smokers to sit directly under the balcony which runed the "fresh" air. I love dark beer, so I got their Milk Stout, which was very good. I had the PB&J Burger, and my son had a kid's pizza. The kid's pizza was huge for kid portion. We had to take more than 1/2 and ended up tossing it in the trash because we had nowhere to store it. If this was for kids, the size should be way smaller. I ordered my burger cooked medium, but it was more on the rare size. The outside of the burger was luke warm when I received it and the center was more on the rare side then I would have liked. I like steak medium rare, so I ate it. I had to tell my son that the red that dripped from the burger when I ate it was from the jelly melting not from the meat. My son stole most my bacon, the one piece that I had was good. The salty bacon with the sweet Jelly was a good combination. A little too much peanut butter though, it made the burger a little cloying in the center. I would have liked the slaw to have more of a vinegar base to cut the heaviness of the burger, it did taste good by itself. If I ever get back to town, I will be coming back for another try.

Cozy little spot! Friendly and welcoming staff and bartenders. I had the Jalapeño Poppers and The Jersey steak sub. Great flavors, fast service and wide beer on tap selection. I would prefer them to remove stem form jalapeños and have toasted the sandwich bread more. My brea was crumbling just a bit. Other then that it had great flavors. Definitely coming back to try more items on the menu, and beer.

I really enjoy this restaurant even though I do not like their hours. My favorite dish here is their Outlaw Lager Stew, it’s enough for two people. It is served over mashed potatoes and it’s absolutely delicious and filling. Perfect for a cold day. I order this most of the times I visit. They also offer various beers they brew and other local beers. They serve wine and delicious bottled sodas they make also. I love their root beer. The service has always been great, Carter is awesome! Often there’s a wait during the weekend when visitors are in town so keep that in mind. This place is a must try.

Came here traveling through and looked like a cool place to eat. We were immediately seated upstairs and our waiter greeted us shortly thereafter. They have an outdoor seating area upstairs with amazing views, but it was a bit chilly to sit outside the day we went. We ordered the elk burger and the special of the day, the southwest philly cheesesteak. The elk burger was a bit dry and bland, even with bacon added and we felt there definitely could have been more seasoning added to give it more taste. Elk meat can be a bit drier as it's so lean but could have used more flavor. The philly cheesesteak was very flavorful, with a little kick from the green chilies but not too overpowering. We ended up ordering the cherry cobbler for dessert, and we don't recommend that at all. It tasted like cherry pie filling with undercooked dough. For $11 we definitely would have expected it to be much better than what it was and cooked more to give the pie crust a more flaky texture. One thing to note, the prices of bottles of wine were very reasonable. What did make this a very nice experience despite the food was our waiter, Neal. He was very helpful, friendly and attentive. He even chatted with us about things to see and do while in the area and gave us some pointers on places to go. It was very nice to have such a wonderful experience because he went out of his way to make it feel more personable. Would we go here again? We think yes because sometimes it's simply worth another shot with different food. Prices were reasonable, and the staff was very friendly.

Visiting Ruidoso again. First time at this place. It is/was an amazing experience. Jess, the bartender, she tells talks to the patrons and tells you stories. She recommended half Pecan and half Cherry for the beer. It is amazing! I asked her, I wanted the biggest hamburger and she said "I got you." She wasnt kidding! I would definitely recommend this place if you are in town. Oh! And try the jalapeño poppers!!

Hot Italian was good. Famous Green Chile Lasagna was just okay and TOO SALTY! Well, as salty as most restaurant food I suppose. All that cheese. I ate it all anyway.

I am torn because I would really love to give 5 stars for the tap room. A local skier recommended it in the Gondola on the way to the "top of the world" and the food, the beers and the ambiance are indeed great. I hope I only caught an unlucky night when it took an hour from arrival to getting the beers due to lack of communication at the door and a bit of chaos around the tables. Anyways, I'll be back and try it again!

We came in for an early dinner on a Saturday and were seated right away. We got a flight of hoppy beers and jalapeño poppers to start. We realized early on that service was slow and ordered our drinks and food before we wanted them. For our entrees, my daughter got the lasagna, I got the crispy chicken sandwich, and my husband got the elk burger. Food was pretty good, portions are massive!

You can’t go wrong with stopping by at this place. There is a long wait if it’s a busy time of the year, but they will still provide great service and tasty food. Good family atmosphere. Neil our waiter was great with suggestions and service.

There aren’t many restaurants open past 8pm in Ruidoso, so we weren’t sure what to expect when we found this one had later hours. I was craving wings, saw they had them on the menu, and very glad we ended up here. It’s a nice gem with lots of options. My husband had a chipotle chicken sandwich and said it was one of his favorite chicken sandwiches (and blue cheese) he’s ever had. The buffalo sauce on the wings were also 10/10. Service & ambiance was wonderful.

Well we read the bad reviews and the good reviews made us go anyway. It was awesome. We had a wonderful meal by the bar fireplace, Bartender Hershel was amazing. The green chili chicken lasagna should be world renound. The beer flight introduced us to some awsome craft beer with a fav of the peanut butter brew. We walked out with a variety of brews (cherry wheat was great too) for our family taste testing. Highly recommend local chef inspired food and brewer. Kudos to a job well done.

I came in for the candy pig cinnamon roll but was bowled over by the steak tacos and the super friendly service. The host, server and even the cook were very sweet and clearly wanted to ensure I enjoyed my meal and had everything I needed. Definitely worth a stop!

Food was amazing. The creamy green Chile with chorizo omelette was fantastic. Potatoes were pretty bland although they were cooked beautifully. Coffee was good quality, no lattes or anything fancy. The waitress was not super attentive and seemed bothered by every request. The busboy and food server were really great though so that was nice. Overall I would recommend it for the food but the service was a bit lacking.

Every food we ordered were delicious. My only suggestion is to have some flavor added to the steak. Amazing customer service.

Breakfast was great here! Prices are high for drinks so we got the their lavender lemonade that was sweet and tasty! Not a fan of the biscuits and gravy definitely had better. Omelet and breakfast tacos did not disappoint!!

Our first time here and wow this place is great. The food is quick and so delicious. They have so many staff who were constantly working hard, welcoming people and getting stuff done. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We will 100% be coming back. Our server was Elaina (Spelled it wrong im sure) and she was fabulous.

Tina's Cafe is an absolutely delicious mainstay in the Ruidoso restaurant scene. Their breakfast and lunch options are fantastic (haven't tried dinner) with maybe my favorite burrito anywhere. Prices I think are fair, and I appreciate the variety of food and drinks and the great service. Be prepared to wait if you don't get there early, but it is worth it.

It’s a small location. The people are nice. The food was very good. The tamales are fantastic. We enjoyed the enchilada and hamburger as well. The only reason it got 4 stars was because their lack of side options. You basically get what you get. So while I loved the tamales, only getting lettuce, tomatoes and pinto beans on the side was underwhelming.

Tina's Cafe is easily my new favorite restaurant in Ruidoso! Amazing service, the food was so good we went back the next day! Tina's carrot cake is my new favorite dessert. You will not regret eating here. Everyone is very accommodating and sweet!

Went with a group of 7 on Saturday morning. Very busy. We were seated within 10 min. The service was great. I had the n name burrito with sausage bacon and chorizo it was amazing. I loved the green chili cream sauce. I would have preferred more spice, but some in o ur group don't like spicy and they still loved it. One of the group Juevos Ranchero Christmas cheese was browned perfectly . Burrito was huge and took half back to my wife. Had a cinnamon roll and shared it with the group of 7 . Perfect finish. We will definitely be back.

Our server was an absolute sweetheart. The food was to die for. Tina's green sauce is a must try. The chips and salsa was delicious. I had the no name burrito and it is a meal for 2 in my opinion. I would very much like to go again.

Exceptional green chile cream sauce - wow! Sadly they will not give you WiFi password/access😔. Crispy rellenos with excellently spiced ground beef on top. Red chile rich but not too much, good spice. Migas with sausage usually very fluffy and well cooked. Beans very tasty, as is the posole (when available). Chicken fried steak with green chile cream sauce, fried eggs, hash browns, fluffy soft biscuits and an extra side of GC cream sauce is outstanding! Breakfast potatoes (fried cubes) are out of this world when dipped in extra green chile cream sauce. Cinnamon roll with "pork candy" as well as Red chile pecan pie are very very good, especially warmed up... The red chile kicks in with a soft and slow burn on the finish. Green chile peach pie a little heavy on the filling thickener (cornstarch?) and could use a little more heat (spice). Great Bloody Mary. Salty dog had a nice spiced rim, but the grapefruit (reads fresh squeezed on menu but is not) is just OK. Puff pastry filled with pork and green chile cream sauce, and the red enchiladas were also only just OK, would skip next time. As with many places, some key items on the menu are excellent and signature, but others not as well done.

The food here is really heavy and flavorful, but just not a great balance of flavors. You’ll feel full but maybe not in a fun way? The breakfast options in Ruidoso are sparse, so my rating is based on that fact. This is a sit-down place (it may pop up in to-go searches but that’s not correct). I would probably try somewhere else before coming back here!

Yes! I’m glad I tried this place! I’ve lived in Ruidoso for a few years now and never gave it a try because someone said the owner was racist. I decided to form my own opinion and glad I did! The food is really good and I absolutely love the atmosphere. Our waiter was also super friendly and courteous and attentive. This will be a restaurant my family and I will frequent. The Green Enchiladas were tasty and cheesy, and my husband enjoyed the Migas. The only thing I didn’t like were the potatoes that came with breakfast, I found them bland. This place also has live music on the weekends, you’d have to follow them on Instagram to find out what dates. They have a selection of beers, cocktails, and wines. Oh and they have pitchers of mimosas! Stop by and give it a try!

Decided to check this place out due to many good reviews. Unfortunately, we weren't that impressed. I asked for an omelet, pretty sure they messed it up and just scrambled it. The biscuits looked soft and soggy as if they were reheated. The cinnamon roll was delicious, but not worth $7. The service and atmosphere was OK, but the music was a little loud and made it hard for the waitresses to hear our order. Finally, for some reason two out of the four of us had stomach aches afterwards. We will be trying a different brunch location next time.

Outdoor patio seating available so we sat outside. Besides the flies, it was worth sitting outside. We both ordered coffee and the pork omelette. The food was delicious! We really enjoyed it. Service was a bit slow for our liking and we’re patient people. Took awhile for the waitress to get to our table to even greet us and take our orders. Other than that, it was a great experience.
