Cicada Market

Mentioned on
Night market
Museums
The Cicada Market is a popular tourist attraction in Hua Hin, located 3.5km to the south. It features local artists, designers and craftsman selling art, clothing, decor and handmade goods alongside entertainment.
This market is more of a souvenir market with a food court that the market next door which is all food and live music. Its a little more middle class but clean, nice and kid friendly variety show performances too. The food is good, plenty of seating and there are some nice nick nacks to buy. Coupon system is a bit frustrating when you can just use cash at next market. No parking either, but a worth a visit all the same.
Jay Roams Thailand — Google review
The marketplace is a delightful three-day (Open on Friday, Saturday, Sunday) haven of creativity and community. With live performances, delectable food options, and an array of art and crafts, it offers a vibrant atmosphere. The voucher system adds convenience, allowing for flexibility in meal choices. The marketplace's cleanliness and friendly ambiance contribute to an enjoyable experience. Notably, the presence of a beautiful old tree adds a charming touch to the overall appeal. A must-visit for those seeking a unique and engaging weekend outing.
Hencita — Google review
Nice place, you will find lots of food in many different ways and varieties! The prices are also cheap. Besides, there has been some entertainer for the children, which they liked a lot. It is also kind of a flea market. They have plenty of typical tourist-stuff, but not all do so.
Matthias Ginster — Google review
Very upscale market - each food vendor has their own specialty with the market clearly controlling hygiene and through a ticket system the vendors. Pricing was about the same as most mid end restaurants - 125thb for the pineapple rice 60 for the chicken satay, retail was about the same pricing and mix as the night market.
Colin McNair — Google review
Such a fun place to visit. The music is always good. Great live bands. Plenty of unique vendors.. The place is a little more upscale from the market next door. The food is served by the vendors in nice ceramic plates with real silverware... Nice touch. Vegetarian options available.

Huge moo Kata Thai barbecue with lots of variety of meat and veggies. Sure you gotta wash your hair afterwards. Busy and smokey open air restaurant under roof. Hygiene reasonably good. Price baht 280 incl soft drinks. Good value for money.
Rutger Verschuren — Google review
We visited for the first time and were truly impressed. The combination of art, jazz, and diverse dining options left us in awe. As the sun set, the atmosphere transformed, becoming even more enchanting. We were captivated by the butterfly sculptures, the eclectic array of artwork from various artists, the flea market, the cocktail bars, and the different jazz bands and singers. The food offerings ranged from budget-friendly to slightly more upscale, and there was also a wide variety for vegetarians. For those wanting more, a stroll to the nearby Tamarind Market is a must. Five stars. We can't wait to return.
Baby Redcat — Google review
While the Cicada Market in Huahin offers a vibrant atmosphere and a diverse range of arts and crafts, my experience was somewhat dampened by a couple of issues. Firstly, finding parking was a challenge and detracted from the overall convenience of visiting the market. Additionally, the lack of active fans in certain areas made it quite uncomfortable, especially during hot and humid days. Despite these drawbacks, the market itself is filled with unique finds and delicious food stalls, making it worth a visit if you're prepared for some minor inconveniences. The Thai music performances show was really impressive they deserve a better equipment support.
Teenut Thanakrit — Google review
Slighty different night market to the Tamarind next door, this market is more spacious and has a mixture of food stalls and craft stalls, particularly paintings. Like the Tamarind it has a stage with live music but the vibe is more laid back and relaxed than it's neighbour which specialises in just food. There is a second stage which was being used by street performers to entertain people with juggling acts. This market uses Food Card rather than cash at the food stalls.
Miles Macdonald — Google review
Not too crowded on weekend when I was here. The food here is too expensive, the market next to this place has more reasonable price for the food. But there were many of arts, show, and craft from local people. It is great to visit once. Many stuffs to buy here. You have to buy the coupon before ordering food, they were not accept cash or transfer.
Kanyaphat kanokbordeevanit — Google review
This market has a lot of various creativity. There are arts, paintings, and also the painters who paints your face! If you want to buy food here you must buy coupons. Also there is a magic show 👍👍
Frost Autumn — Google review
Good place to go on Friday and weekend evenings. It is a little bit too crowded for my taste, but it has some good little shops. I personally loved candles and patches.
Aiyyna Tobokhova — Google review
Very spacious, clean market what included performances for children, flea market, local brands and items. Recommending the Delicious papaya salad with salty egg and coconut smoothie aside. But for food you have to buy vouchers, which can be refunded unused until 10pm only.
Pav Ka — Google review
This is a market taylored for tourists (mainly handicrafts) The much more frequented part is the open air food court. It is worth to look outside for the adjoining TAMARIND market/food court with a great variety of more local and cheaper food options. Life music!
dream pie — Google review
Half of the market is craft related items, and the other half is food related. There are also 2 different stages for performance. It is nice and clean, but Tamarind next door seems to have more attractive food stalls. Parking is 50 Baht.
Hi Goat Oh Deer迷鹿与高羊 — Google review
Cute market next to Tamarind market. Both in walking distance. Lots more food in Tamarind market. Need food and drink tickets for Cicada market. Lots of cute things and crafts. Clothing, jewelry, hair accessories, artwork, things for kids, and toys. There are multiple live music sections in Cicada, which is nice to sit and watch.
Reid DiRenzo — Google review
Open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, three days a week It is very clean and very friendly A slightly different market. There are many artists here offering their artwork and lots of fun crafts. There are also enough food stalls You can purchase vouchers for your meal that are always valid for the current day. You can simply return unused vouchers by 11:00 p.m. the same evening and get your money back. Beautiful old tree I liked that
Adel Armanous — Google review
Great night venue with plenty of food options and an assortment of stalls. A few different live music going on as well. Wish more of these existed! The food was probably the only downside, but as it was still pretty cheap I can't critique it too much. I only sampled a few stalls, so I'd come back and try something else next time. But there isn't as much variety as a lot of the other night markets in Thailand here.
MR — Google review
A lot if nice handmade products. Nice music. Pleasant atmosphere. Fried rice with crab here is very tasty (125 baht).
Ann Vong — Google review
Nice weekend market to have a look at all kind of mostly handmade stuff. They also have a food court (but mayne go to the other side to Tamarind market which has a huge choice to offer). They also have some local shows at the market (Jazz band, puppet theater and other entertainment). Fun to go there
Sven — Google review
This is a really nice market to sit and chill. There is a great band that plays every night and the have guest singers and musicians at one end and entertainers like clowns and magicians, at the other end. There are lovely art stalls selling all sorts of handmade crafts. The only issue we had was the food, its really expensive and you have to purchase vouchers to pay.
Daisy Drake — Google review
A little different than your average night market - it's targeted to a broad set of people with art, crafts, music, and common set of food items. Was nice setup and very organized with plenty of seating which can be tricky for night markets. The coupon system to order things is a bit of a hassle but they make it efficient since you can return unused coupons.
Chris Stratton — Google review
Highly recommend it. I went there during the Music festival weekend. Rock band and a full jazz band were playing. Good vibe, I like the atmosphere.. Mamy shops and eateries .

Nature & Wildlife Areas
The Hutsadin Elephant Foundation is a charitable organization that rescues elephants who have been displaced from the entertainment or working industries and provides them with a safe haven. Entry is free for visitors, however, there are many activities available to take up with the elephants such as trekking, feeding them, mahout experiences and more.
Thank you for giving us a chance to feed and shower the elephant! The place is kept well and organised. Can’t believe that there’re volunteers who upkeep the place so well. The elephants looked happy and they were free from their chained and allowed to go for walks. Don’t believe those negative reviews! We enjoyed ourselves very much knowing that we can get close to the gentle giants and do charity at the same time.
Angela Khoo — Google review
One elephant was chained while people fed it. They were offering rides which, as a rescue foundation doesn’t seem reasonable. Sad situation really. Not sure the funds are supporting a good cause but do your research.
Jeffrey Skinner — Google review
The place is very quite at the moment, not so many people coming yet. Its a foundation that helps and feeds the elephants. They offer some package where you can only feed, or walk or ride with the elephants. Some elephants are quite old and there is also one baby. I recomend that you visit this place to support the foundation.
Glecil Lofranco — Google review
I would say visit with a compassion heart and not looking forward for any rides or performances by elephant. It's a kind of shelter home for elephants. And they are very well taken care of. Fee of 800 baht for walking, feeding and showering the elephant.
Sean Chew — Google review
It was a touching experience even though the staff was not what you would call welcoming. It also does not address if one should support a place where elephants are kept in chains most of the day. That's for youself to judge.
Ralf Alpert — Google review
Very nice place. Great tour. The Elephants are treated well.
Ken Carlsen — Google review
The lady at reception is forcing to buy tickets. Only 4 elephants and no proper maintenance. Different price for every customer. The area is not hygiene for elephants.
Surekha Lanka — Google review
My children loved the experience of getting close and feeding the teenage elephant. The elephants seemed well taken care of. And the team was ready to answer our questions about the elephants and the foundation. The experience cost 800 baht for adult and 400 baht. Think of it as a donation for the foundation.
Karen C — Google review
I visited alone for the second time and did the walk, feed and shower with the elephant. 800 baht for 30 minutes but was done in less than 20. Very rushed, which was strange as there was nobody else there. The guide did not speak very good English which is fine, but maybe told me 10 times the elephant eats 200kg of food each day. He did take some good photos but kept holding my phone and would not give it back to me when I asked twice so I could take some of my own photos and videos. Asked a lot for tips at the end (I think they take lots of photos and videos for you to get tips) but the whole experience was over as soon as it begun which was disappointing. Before in 2019 it was much better, we got more time and got to roam freely and look at the elephants but I felt like after I was not allowed to do this and I felt like I was being watched too much and felt uncomfortable so I left. But the elephants are beautiful and I know they are looked after fairly well and not treated as spectacles. Take the experience with a pinch of salt and you will still enjoy your time with the animals.
Sasha Butler — Google review
You can feed and walk with the elephant for 800 Baht here. Maybe it's not ideal to lock the elephants most time of the day, but it make some sense as the area is too small and the elephant may cause discomfort to their neighbours if they can walk around. They have plan to buy new land and make a better living environment for the elephants though.
Cristiano Chan — Google review
This place is definitely worth a visit - and not once: You get interact with amazing creatures in respectful yet intimate way. This is a sanctuary, where they save injured or exhausted from abuse elephants and care for them. When you come, you can walk with an animal, feed them bananas (they provide them to you) and then give an elephant a shower. You can see how animals interact with each other, how they care, play. Fantastic. I’d wish there were more places like this instead of zoos.
Olesia Ro — Google review
Amazing place. Visited for the first time in 2014 and again nine years later in 2023. Had the pleasure of seeing the same elephant, Songkran, both times — aged 6 in 2014 and 15 in 2023. Very friendly place and you can tell that the treat the elephants well.
Shay J — Google review
Overall pretty please with my trip to this foundation, we learned that most of the elephants taking in here would have been abandoned, prices were 300 bath to feed the elephants. You will get a basket of bananas, pretty reasonable as they use the money to treat the elephants too.
Joshua Webley — Google review
During my visit to the elephant park, my heart was filled with compassion for these majestic creatures. Witnessing them confined under the scorching sun truly tugged at my heartstrings. It's essential that we raise awareness about the importance of providing them with more natural and spacious habitats, where they can thrive freely. Let us come together to protect and cherish these gentle giants, ensuring a brighter future for them.

Market Village Huahin is a contemporary retail destination that features over 150 shops and eateries, including an indoor and outdoor space and a cinema. The food is reasonably priced with plenty of options, from traditional Thai cuisine to international fare. In addition to the dining scene, visitors can explore souvenir shops, clothing stalls, pharmacies, and banks on the lower level.
Great shopping center, and an awesome eatery downstairs. The food is always fresh, lots of choices and CHEAP, where else can you get a Pad Thai and a 600ml coke for $3.15 AUD ? . And if you are not afraid of trying new food, then there is something for everyone. Also downstairs there are some great little souvenir shops, pharmacy and clothing stalls. Upstairs in the main shopping area, there is plenty for all, electronics, clothes, supermarket, optical, jewelry, banks, phone stores of all flavours, so you cannot go wrong here.

One of the best shopping malls and food areas I have ever visited. It has everything.
STWB — Google review
Good size shoppingmall with all needed shops. From lotus till homepro, banks and exchange, lots of restos and classic stores.
stephane VC — Google review
Nicest mall I've seen outside of Bangkok. Everything is here - Lotus, Boots, Watsons, Home Pro, furniture, electronics, every major bank, and so many food choices. Currency exchange on the top floor offers an excellent exchange rate. The best bargains for food and clothing are in the basement. Parking is easy if you know where to go - try the line of stalls on the south side of the mall, from which you can walk right in through the ground floor entrance. Toilets are clean. All in all a pleasant shopping experience.
John K — Google review
The original small mall in Hua Hin is starting to show it's age now. Has all the shops you'd need with plenty of food choices on the restaurant floor. Also all the major Thai banks have a branch here.

Fantastic mall... and it has my Thailand favourite.. Sizzler 555. Not a big mall ... But a good food court.. That gets crazy busy.... and good shop selection... Plus a movie theater.

Outdoor swimming pool
Located in Hua Hin, Thailand, Black Mountain Water Park is a popular water recreation complex with slides and pools for both children and adults. There are also dining facilities available on-site.
If you have a little kid, strongly recommended :) I and my kids had a lot of fun with moderate thrill. Nice staffs, food was good with resonable price, not too busy site There is down side ; difficult transport, some part of area needs new paint work. But we will go to this park again for sure!
Bohwa Chu — Google review
We came at the end of the rainy season, after a rainstorm. The park was empty but for a few families and we all had a wonderful time with the entire venue pretty much to ourselves. Staff were lovely, the site clean and tidy - manage your money for lunch because you can't get a refund after 5pm, but this is easily organised. We downloaded the Bolt app and got a taxi there and home for a mere £4.09 each way. It's well worth a visit, especially chancing it after a thunderstorm. The drive there is lovely as you go into the hills.
Caitlin Morgan — Google review
It's was a great waterpark with good facilities, the thing I enjoyed the most was the wave. It was so much fun, really brought out my inner child. There was around 9 slides and this gorgeous infinity pool. I recommend going in the evening as it's half the price and there really isn't that many slides so I don't think the whole day is needed.
Amyka Moonman — Google review
Visable safety is a priority. Free sterilized life vest and helmets. 450 entrance fee for adults, 225? For kids above 110 cm tall and free for less than 110 cm. For kids less than 110 (likely less than 5 years old) 2 main steep slides #4 red and #5 green tube as well as big #3 yellow and white #6 white and blue but this one needs waxing as not so slippery and likely stuck along the slide a few times. Above average drop off at end of slides. Kids pool also has steep slides. Free lockers but need 200-500 deposit until you return the key. Shower Soap available in restroom. Food is average, but reasonably priced. 20 thb for a small bottle of water. Lots of shaded beach chairs to sit without needing to pay extra. Plenty of parking. You'll need a car to get to this remote location. We had the whole park to 3 families on Thursday Sept 30 2021. Place is a bit warned but okay for an afternoon. 120 cm required for kids to ride the intertube slides. Kid friendly park. Watch out some hot areas if baked in the Thai sun.
Mark S — Google review
This place is a great day out for families with young kids. The wave pool, lazy river and water slides are all suitable for young kids to use with adult supervision. The Saturday deal from 4pm - 7pm is great value, 300 baht for adults and kids below a certain height get in free.
Daniel Cracknell — Google review
Minimum high for kids is 1.12 m, the staff is very nice and kind for the kids, the food in the restaurant was fast and great tastes, the kids enjoyed 🙏🙏🙏
Gilad Grimberg — Google review
We had a great time at this place. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the rides.Since my kids are only 4 years old they were scared to use the slides, but enjoyed on the outskirts of wave pool and other play area. All in all it was a day well spent, would have loved to do the wakeboard, which was available only on the weekend.
Sriharsha Goddu Honnappa — Google review
Spend 3-4 hours at the water park. Maybe 20 other people there in total. So, no waiting times anywhere. The slides are fun to use but not very long since the tower isn't high. It's a bit confusing which rides require wearing a helmet and which ones don't but there's always staff who will assist and tell what's needed for which slide. The three on the top level are the fastest and steepest ones. The wave pool is also fun to use. Just be aware that it's not always in wave mode. Overall good for families but also young adults who enjoy some water activities. Showers are large and rather clean plus there's liquid soap so it's not necessary to bring shower gel. But make sure to bring a towel. I highly recommend wearing slippers or water shoes since the walking areas are super hot especially if the sun is out. It's also best to wear a long-sleeve shirt to avoid getting sunburned. Food is between 120 Baht and 180 Baht per portion, for example fried rice with chicken. The food was surprisingly good for a water park. We took a Grab car to get there from Hua Hin city center and back. Each ride was around 175 Baht. If Grab doesn't find a car try to select Village Market Mall as a destination back.
Moritz — Google review
Ghost water park. Everything is worn off, old and looks awful, swimming pools leave paint on my hands and swimming suite, lazy river looks terrible, wave pool needs renovation. Food is terrible and expensive, towels provided at an additional price, some of the lockers are not working. 2 stars only because my son was able to use some water slides. Basically there is no reason to spend your day in the Black mountain water park, it's much better to visit Vanna Nava water park.
Iliya Karin — Google review
A relatively small park with a certain variety of facilities. But there is no line on the weekend! It was a pleasure to be in a water park without queuing, it's a completely different experience. There are some high and fun slides, many facilities that are also suitable for small children. Everything is secure, lots of staff around and feels safe. There are comfortable toilets and showers, an locker given for free with a deposit. There is only one restaurant, the food there is ok. There are almost no options for vegans. The food is reasonably priced compared to other water parks I have visited. The park is clean, pleasant, tidy, there are seats and comfortable chairs, there is shade. Really recommended!
Smadar Nir — Google review
A well run, family-friendly water park about 20 minutes away from central Hua Hin. A selection of simple water slides, all of them are kid friendly with free safety equipment available, safety helmets and life jackets. A lazy river and swimming pools with kids climbing frames etc. A wave pool that runs every 30 minutes from 12pm. An open air restaurant sells decent food / ice creams/ drinks at very reasonable prices; no theme park rip offs here. 500 Baht for adults. Open at 11:00 am. Closes at 7pm. 300 Baht tickets available for 4pm entry. We bought ours in advance with the Klook app. Free lockers. Plenty of parking close to the entrance. A good way to spend 3-4 hours.

Extremely well done exhibitions of many Thai artists. Tho I hope they’d improved the ventilation so it wasn’t as hot even in winter. The entrance fee is really cheap and you receive a much worth experience.

Nice and small artists village. We came very early (11) and it was still sleepy. There’s beautiful art there that you can buy. For the kids there’s paintings and fish feeding. The cafe there is nice but has only drinks and no food at all. Probably at the evening it’s nicer.

Toe the best of Hua Hin and a must see for anybody visiting Hua Hin. Even people with little interest in art will enjoy the visit. Furthermore you can find fine art as well as small artistic presents (some at a very good price). Kids area to play and get in contact with art by doing yourself painting. Very reasonable entry fee of 40 Thb.

A unique combo of antiques, artwork, and working artists set back from the road in a spacious walkthrough. There is an every charge, as they call it a museum. And it's not clear what all is for sale; several items are priced but many are not. Broadly better to go rather than earlier, none of the outside stalls were open. Worth a visit for a relaxing stroll if nothing else.

Recently visited the Hua Hin Artist Village, and it was a delightful experience worth sharing. This unique establishment showcases and sells artifacts from local places, offering a glimpse into the rich culture of the region. While the items here may not be the cheapest, they are good quality. One of the highlights of the Artist Village is its impressive collection of oil on canvas paintings, a testament to the local artistic talent. The 40-baht entrance fee grants you access and contributes to supporting local business. Most of the displayed items are on the larger side. What's even better is that if you find something you love, (I think) they offer shipping to your home address, making it convenient. The Hua Hin Artist Village is a goodchoice for those looking to spend an afternoon exploring something intriguing. It's a cultural gem that adds depth to your Hua Hin experience.

Nice place, beautiful art. Only the juice venders outside are very pushy, and change prices for Thai people and foreigners. This is not correct. I have no problem with the fact that entrance prices for parks etc. are different and I don't think it's such a bad idea at all. But prices for mini bottles of juice should be the same for everyone. And if you don't buy they insult you in Thai.
I spankingjongedame — Google review
It is sort of an art show, art museum and a studio combined, showing paintings, statues and other creations by various artists. The atmosphere is very nice with relaxing music and a few artists working here and there inside the gallery. Great place to enjoy art and let your children enjoy it also. No recreation required. The entrance fee is 40 for adults and 20 for a child. The walk through the place takes about an hour and the workshop can take another hour (see details below). The items inside all have price tags and I guess can be bought (too expensive for me). The place is almost fully shaded or located inside a building so you don't need to worry about the weather, but sometimes it gets very hot inside so take this into account. There is a coffee shop inside. On one end of the place you can purchase an item and receive all the necessary equipment to paint all over it. A small canvas for example costs 165 baht, so it is not expansive. Also, there is a sofa there you can sketch whatever you want on it free :)

A wonderful place to visit in if you are interested in art and craft. It was an easy two hours of immersive walking around. Art, craft, photography (allowed!), watching artists work … a coffee shop if you want to rest your feet. And if you are a shopaholic - the most wonderful pieces to take home - from tiny curios to massive big paintings! At 40 Baht (as of today), the entry fee is well worth the experience. I would definitely go back and spend more time here!

Skoop Beach Cafe Hua Hin is a busy ice-cream shop that has both indoor and outdoor seating. The store is known for its jelly "peepo" ice cream and the staff are friendly.
Me and my family visited today. Inside and outside was all clean. Didn't try the coffee but tried the iced tea, ice cream, waffle and the beef burger, all were excellent!! My kids enjoyed ice cream, but didn't know 1 scoop was so big, so they couldn't finish their 2 scoops each. The waffle was crunchy and the syrup ( sugarcane syrup I think ) was a good combo, with the ice cream as well. My wife had the beef hamburger, and she seldom enjoys meat, but she said it was very tasty. Even I stole a few bites! Overall, nice place. A bit on the pricy side but you pay for the view, the wind and good desserts. Worth the money in my opinion.

I’ve never had a spoiled egg served to me before. I’ve been to se Asia many times over the years and tried lots of different eggs. I cannot recommend the eggs Benedict. Good view; terrible coffee. I paid 110 baht for a takeaway latte. It's burnt. Very bitter. Tastes awful. Instant coffee is often better than this disaster. I tried adding sugar to cover up the bitterness, but it that doesn't help with the burnt coffee taste.

The atmosphere is really nice inside, but the food is average, small portions different from the pictures of menu, asparagus was not peeled, coffee was bitter and sour, even when I asked 1 shot. But the waiters were nice, the whole atmosphere also calm and nice.

Good coffee place with variety of drink and snack offering. Great view to hang out with attraction to crowd. Recommended place to enjoy.

Nice coffee and good menu. Only drank half the coffee because the monkey came to steal it of the table ! Be aware if you sit outside your food and drink can be snatched by the monkeys. Great coffee and food
Tony Bridges — Google review
The food was okay nothing to rave about just a photo opportunity for Instagram. If you sit outside, you have a nice view of the beach.

Amazing views. Parking is just on the little street. Right on the beachfront!! Food came out in good time, tasted great. 1 downside, food was on the pricey side

This is definitely a must go to beach area in Hua Hin. Lots of food choices, nice beaches and very very kid friendly water/beach.

It's lovely but at this time they are renovating the main shop. The cafe is open where the bar used to be.

Food is surprisingly good though pricing is more towards tourists pricing. Ice cream also a fav among kids.
Rick Lim — Google review
Very bad services (no services) table are all dirty with no one to clean it up inside shop is a mess. The price is upsurge compared with no services. Waffle ice cream is nice 200+ baht is alright, coffee better goes get from elsewhere. So if you are not that desperate try your luck at the next stop.

Very busy ice-cream shop on the sea shore! My fussy little daughter liked the jelly "peepo" ice-cream. Limited seating indoors and quite hot outside but a few places to take pictures. Don't think there are similar places nearby.

Tasty Thai seafood restaurant. Everything was delicious and very reasonable price setting, even for shrimps and scallops. There are big parking area but always full.

Nice local restaurant in Hua Hin! The crab curry with vermicelli was absolutely delicious. Morning glory very refreshing. The prawns were ok, a tad too sweet and not meaty enough inside. Overall enjoyed the lunch here very much. They accept credit card also (not many places in Hua Hin do). Recommended.

A recommended Thai seafood restaurant can be found along the main street in Hua Hin. The prices are reasonable, and the dining experience is enjoyable.

Not too bad. Standard Thai food Crab is around 800 thb. Expensive

Location: on local road next to main one. Hard to miss but be careful driving in. Atmosphere: decoration is quite bland and lifeless but clean. The place is for Chinese tourist groups. Lower floor is somewhat wheelchair accessible but not air-conditioned. Higher floor is air-conditioned but you need to climb the stairs. Service: food came out fast but we are only customers there so no verdict. Food: Food is ok, not great but nothing to complain either. Cleanliness: dining area and restrooms are clean. Cost: we ordered three dishes, two plates of rice, and water. It cost two of us around 700฿

Hok Muk Talay very good. Grilled squid nice and tender. Fried rice with shrimp still ok, but a bit dry and taste was a little boring. Overall good seafood for a reasonable price. Location is not fancy.

This place has definitely been hit hard by the covid situation. The view just looks incomplete. Food is not bad. Tom yum gong is not good anymore too sour. Tamarind prawn is good but really hard to eat. Baked scallop is not bad too but make sure to finish them when they are still hot. Morning glory fried garlic is surprisingly good, crunchy and tasteful.

Food is good. We enjoyed it very much! Now, this is allegedly one of the best restaurant in Hua Hin, and they charge a premium for it. And that’s where I think there’s a mismatch. The location is by the road. And the building and interior is just average. Nothing fancy there. There even was 2 stray dogs on the parking lot. Not super safe. Service is good Overall, only 3 stars as the price is above market average and not in line with this type of restaurant

Cake shop
Baan Gliwang is a popular cake shop that many of Thai friends asked to visit. Now, why it's so popular? Right in front of the shop is the sea with a tropical garden. The cakes are great, service is excellent and prices are right for the place. It's also super clean and has great staff. Baan Gliwang is perfect for people who want to enjoy a casual coffee or snack on their beachfront property.
Best food Top service Dog friendly Food is perfect. Sea Breeze and a favorite now of us. Must go must try at least four dishes out of the fire into the fire place. Drinks great pricing is right for the place decor staff all super polite. On the beach front and super clean total bill for 4 dishes 1 dessert 🧁 1 pot of tea 2 drinks 1 water 1400 bargain 👌🏼👌🏼

Real “Royal Thai Cuisine” fit for the Royal and noble that is rare to find these days in Thailand. This is where you get “slow life” and delicate “fine cuisine” that actually crafted to its finest form and shape. Beach front restaurant on weekday with wave sound is very peaceful to me. I sit back and enjoy my tea time. It’s a pet-friendly restaurant.
Sunny Orchid — Google review
A traditional Thai restaurant next to a palace in Hua Hin. The place offered both food and desserts with a sea side view. Most of the menu is traditional, but there’s a few outliner like spaghetti and baked spinach. The portion is quite sufficient compared to the price and taste rather mediocore. However, I haven’t tried the dessert menus, which I’ve heard is quite great. Overall a good place for a sea side meal with a good photogenic view.
Pasachai Tangsakul — Google review
This place got good vibes :) Banana dessert is sweet but with good kind of sweetness. (Not feeling super sugarly) Pumpkin Bua loei is also very cute and nice. Choose your seat wisely. Some seats might be warmer than others. I only come here for the dessert tho

Good food, Good staffs, Great views, Sea breeze, Pet-friendly 🐰 ! ! ! ! Try the Thai desserts, it tastes original and very good. The cake was also unexpectedly great. You can't compare the price with street food because this is a Thai royal crucine. So it might seem a bit pricy here, but it's worth trying. It you brings dog. They have a water with Ice for your lovely dog 😊

Nice Thai and European dishes. Limited food menu however, has a good selection. Goes well with all the various cakes and desserts on offer. Atmosphere relaxing next to the beach. There is a Thai pastry shop and nice local craft products on sale. Owner operator so every aspect of the shop is supervised well. Recommend. Parking on the street. Back again. Still yummy!

This review is about tea. Puer. The menu lists it as a special tea, the price is 160 baht. regular leaves for 10 baht per lazada. No taste. I do not recommend tea. The place is beautiful
Саня Шаман — Google review
Well, where to start here? The place itself is actually signposted outside as Baan Khrai Wang and is a small complex containing a store selling various Asian / Chinese / Thai goods and then leads on to the restaurant directly adjacent to the sea. The location and ambience create an atmosphere that even the most difficult to please will have difficulty finding fault with. The food was superb and beautifully presented with portions a little larger than most places. The delicious food was served by excellent staff who although staying in the background, were ready to pounce to your every request. This place is an absolute gem and we were so happy to have found it. Will be definitely going back here again and would highly recommend you visit too on your time in Hua Hin. Take note - it’s cash only here.

When normalization becomes uncommon . I miss the flavors and richness of the past. Being here again takes me back to that time of dedication and attention to detail, which warms my heart. It's rare to find the authentic recipe nowadays, as many restaurants tend to overly sweeten the dishes. It's disappointing. Here, you can savor the harmonious flavors, the delicate textures, and the skillful culinary artistry. Normalize become rare

Absolutely outstanding view of the sea. The food is great but the portions are small, that's the only criticism I can give. The cakes are some of the best I've ever tasted. Amazing service.

Cute family restaurant by the beach. But it's small and not much thing to see. The food menu is with limited choices. I ordered Fried rice with kale and crispy gourami - 155 baht. Considered the portion and the taste, it's not worth the price so I would not recommend to eat here. Having a drink is good enough.

The cafe Memory House Cafe has a colorful atmosphere and a hype of a unicorn theme. It is perfect for afternoon relaxation with a view of Khao Tao Lake. The drinks are good, and the food and beverage are okay. The entrance fee is 50 per person, which can be deducted with any order.
A chic cafe by the side of a reservoir. Beautifully set-up for visitors to take pictures. Entrance fee is 50 baht. It can be used as a discount coupon to buy drinks and cakes; 50 baht will be deducted from their prices. Visitors can sit in the open air sitting areas or in air conditioned chalets. Free Wifi available too. A big parking area.

Such a fancy barn-type location for afternoon relaxation. A colorful atmosphere with a hype of a unicorn theme..😉😉😉 (because of the colors, I think!) Splurge with their Lemon Mint and Butterfly Pea drink...Try it with the bear jelly. The bubbles pop in your mouth and the jelly is yum! Explore other drinks, too.

This is a very beautiful place to bring family and friends to make photos. They have a nice coffee shop. I thought the prices were a little expensive, but they do need to maintain the landscaping and photo opportunities. The even have dresses for you to use for pictures. I will come back when my wife and I are alone and we can spend some time taking photos. We did not eat, but the coffee was nice.

Photogenic cafe with vibrant colours and Instagrammable scenes. Would highly recommend the spinach and cheese quesadillas paired with a cup of fragrant coffee of your choice. The majority of the cafe is not air conditioned but there is a small section that is so don't miss it for those hot days. There is an entry ticket fee of 50 baht per person but which can be used towards your order.

Vibes , coffee and drinks are good. And it's a inta spot . So, all the people are taking photos every where that's the one and only thing you need to know before you go there. If you arrived there in the afternoon it will be less crowded.

Wonderful place kind of set up for photos and selfies. 50 baht to enter which gets credited towards your food order. But the prices are coincidentally about 50 baht more than usual 🤔. I would go back it was enjoyable and beautiful.

Atmosphere is great by the view and snack or drink were moderate. Good for visiting and grabbing some drinks. Bear jelly on top of the ice drinks is so cute.
Tinsel Rose — Google review
Honestly, I was really disappointed with this place. Own transport or Grab only. Arriving to pay 50B entrance to then use on food or drink (they obviously want to you to spend money). You walk in the main door and there's two girls sitting at the table in the middle of the room - looks very strange. Food/ drink prices are very high, even with 50B discount it doesn't make much difference to your bill. My bill was 500B for 2 small meals and an iced chocolate, incl. 2x vouchers (100B). Service is very slow, you have to wait outside because the cafe/ barn inside is extremely hot, why they don't use A/C is crazy. They give you a buzzer and when your drinks are ready, you must go collect them from the cafe counter yourself. The staff have no personality and no smiles, we did not feel welcome here. Outdoor area is far too hot, there is no shade so everyone goes inside the air conditioned room. They need more trees and shaded areas for people who want to walk around outside to take photos. The filtered photos you see of the colourful park are actually old and faded from the sun. See my unfiltered photos. Finally, there is no garbage bins so customers have no choice than to leave uneaten food stuff on the tables - dirty. Overall, a memory for all the wrong reasons. There are much better cafes in Hua Hin than this one.

After seeing some of the negative reviews I was a little skeptical about this place. Turned out to be a very pleasant experience. We came here in November so the weather was nicer, cool with breeze. On a Tuesday morning so the place was practically empty. Staffs were friendly. 50 baht per person charge to me was very reasonable. Otherwise there would be more people. I only ordered coffee. It was good. Husband got the bear drink for photos.

It looks alright, but entrance fee is 50 baht. You can use those coupons for discount, but only 1 coupon per item. The food and drinks are pricey. For some photos it is nice.

This place is really a play for girls or if you gonna come for a date. Plenty of pictures to be taken. However, all is fake but with good vibrant colours. I think a great place for couples. The desserts are good. Would not be the place for solo guy travelers. Come as a family or a date. Pretty good!

Thai restaurant
Restaurant
Koti Restaurant Huahin is a fantastic Thai restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. It's been in operation for over thirty years, and is a national culinary luminary. Thais love the stir-fried oyster with flour and egg, while foreigners frequently aim for the đôm yam gûng. Everyone loves the yam...
Decor is dated as old as 1950s i should say. Quite authentic chinese style of cooking. Portion is small but good in a sense that you can order more dishes. Ordered the shrimp rice tang hoon ( rice noodle), Venus clams, crab meat with fried egg, spinach for 2 person. Cost around 1100Baht. Toilet is clean enough. Good location as its right opposite the Night Market.
Ben Fly Tan — Google review
This place has been opened since 1932. We went at noon and were literally their first customers. So if you want to skip the crazy queue at night, go for lunch. Ordered their stuffed crab shell, green curry roasted pork and stirred fried morning glory. The crab shells were stuffed full with pork and crab meat filling, coated with egg and then deep fried. The filling was dry and it took a bit of effort to pry them out of the shell. Taste was good but I had better in Kemaman Malaysia. The green curry roasted pork was not too spicy like most green curries. I wish the pork skin could be more crispy. The surprise of the day was the morning glory. An unimpressive dish but they managed to serve it just right. Not over cooked and the stems were crunchy even at the end. Lunch was Baht510 which was okay.
Wilson Foo — Google review
Family visited this place over 30 years ago, confirmed it's not as good as it was. Curry soup with beef was too sweet and consists of mostly fatty meat. Steamed crab with curry was too salty. Srir-fried dishes were okay. They served us 3 medium-large sized prawns for 350baht, price equivalent to Phuket seafood. 🤔 Stir-fried morning glory with crispy pork was good but at 200baht, meh. Better look elsewhere. We had difficulty finding parking spot as well. All in all, won't reccommend to others.
Pim W (Pimpam) — Google review
Average food - used to taste a lot better. It is quite expensive compare to other restaurant that offer the same level of service/food. But it has very good location, just opposite the night market on the main street. So, it is very easy to access. Having said that there is no parking available. Have to find your own parking on the street.

First time here in Hua-Hin without know about this restaurant. With 91 years experiences. No doubt on how famous and tasty all dishes. Easy to find by located opposite of night market in Hua Hin. Worldwide tourists come to test and taste local Thai cuisine. Queue time could be long if you come during dinner. but won’t be that long because you will enjoy looking at menu and decides what to order and get excited every time when humble waitresses and waiters serve any dishes. Well organized menu and fast service when cleaning and get an order. Vibing around surrounding by night market opposite side, traffics, and queues that make overall perfect. Humble Owner and salute to all chiefs who make such a wonderful dishes for us. Mine, we ordered - Glass noodles salads with seafood, minced pork, chillies and lime’s sauce >> this dish, without word to describe how tasty, spicy, and especially glass noodles that so soft but bouncing in your mouth. Moreover with fresh seafood. Strongly recommended this dish. I ate all of the soup and the dish was so clean from how tasty it was - boiled rice with seafood >> another dish with fresh ingredients, crunchy and almost taste like porridge. Give your tummy warm from herbs - crab omelette >> you don’t need to worry about white inside crab because all has been removed since start. With perfect temperature. No oily at all but crunchy and smell of crab make you to order more rice Price may look expensive but all worth every currency. Payment in cash, scan QR code and accept credit card. Will come back to taste more menu for sure.

Service, as mentioned in other reviews, is so so. 3 stars only because they made veg curry for me, which was tasty. They charge separately for a bowl of rice, which as a Thailand standard should be served along with the curry. Drinks are THB 170 onwards, which is like sitting in an upscale restaurant. We saw other customers bring their drinks from the opposite night market.

This is a street side restaurant, packed with locals and tourists, clean and well lit up at night. We came here for dinner and ordered the Hor Mok Talay and squid in curry sauce. It took a long time to come, because it was very busy. The food was ok, nothing special, and the seafood was not properly cooked. Tasted ok. They could’ve rushed the orders. Not sure if I would come here again, considering there are so many seafood restaurants in this area.
Umesh W — Google review
I came to Hua Hin many times for 20 years, but this is my first time visiting this restaurant. This place always busy every time I come and I was not patient enough to be in the que as night market is just across the road. I ordered the recommended dishes that I read from reviews. (1) Stir fried Seafood (Pad Kee Mao Talay / ผัดขี้เมาทะเล) - it is good. 👍 (2) Deep Fried Prawns with garlic (กุ้งทอดกระเทียม / Goong Tod Gratiam) - Great dish 👍 . Big prawns, the prawns are still moist, still can taste sweetness of the fresh prawns, not much seasoning topping but the deep fried garlic is delicious which makes it great combination. I ordered Stir Fried Morning Glory - delicious. It is classic style of Thai - Chinese cooking. Taste is not strong but well-balanced. If you expect strong taste of this dish, then this is not for you. But I like it. Another dish I ordered, stir fried crispy pork belly with green bean and Thai curry paste. I find the crispy pork belly is a bit dry and tense. Strong taste of curry paste but lack of flavour. Service is good. Food was not too long too wait, although the place was full. Drinks and Ice are a bit pricey.

Tried the place for our evening meal. We had 3 dishes, northern Thai crispy pork, mixed vegetables with shiitake mushrooms and red curry and all were excellent. Beer nice and cold. The only reason this hasn’t got 5 stars is that compared to most places it’s a little expensive

Delicious seafood and Thai Chinese food. Well known place in Huahin area. It is not a formal place or anything. If.yiu can eat pork, try the dish called "Moo-kulao," stir fried ground pork and ku-lao fish, dry dish, no watery sauce, but flavorful.
